Voltage 9/30/2018

Kawajai: LIVE FROM OHIO AND FRESH OFF OF TERRITORIAL INVASION WE ARE GLAD TO BE BACK FOR ANOTHER BROADCAST OF EAW’S WEEKLY EPISODIC PROGRAM, SUNDAY NIGHT VOLTAGE!

Nick Angel: Last week we were in Chicago, brand pride was at an all time high as bragging rights were on the line all throughout the night in the form of various championship matches, and of course we can’t forget about the main event of the whole evening… the War Games match!

Kawajai: Well I surely wish I could forget about it that’s for sure. It wasn’t a good night for the Voltage superstars but you know who it was a good night for? The Voltage Commissioner who was able to keep his job.. Matt Daniels!

Nick Angel: For sure, Team Daniels and Team Enterprise went to work on one another in a great action packed match that determined the fate of this very brand! Team Daniels rose to be victorious but what a great match that was all around. We don’t know what Andy will be up to going forward here on Voltage and what lies ahead for The Enterprise, but what we DO know is we should be hearing from the commissioner in any-

(“Waves” by Kanye West hits to a big pop as Matt Daniels makes his way out with a confident smirk and an extra pep to his step)

Nick Angel: …..minute now.

(Matt slaps hands with fans on his way up the ramp, he grabs a mic from ringside and then does his peep pose at the top of the turnbuckle before standing in the middle of the ring to address the fans)

Matt Daniels: Man how do I even start off after last weeks craziness? Boy do we have a lot to unpack tonight. I guess I could start off by asking….. WHERE MY PEEPS AT?!?!

(The crowd cheers as Matt Daniels does his pose again before continuing talking)

Matt Daniels: Sorry, I’m just feeling extra good tonight because for the first time in so many months I am able to come out here and run my show the way I want to run my show, free of the parasites known as The Enterprise. When I came back to EAW to run this brand, it was never in the plans to share this job, then when LC made a return out of the blue, I was forced to adapt and adjust, but not only that.. I was forced to degrade myself to cave into the demands of a man who did not have the best interest of this brand in mind, and was only out for self. I am not an active performer looking to settle old grudges or make up for lost time, I’m a full time commissioner and my loyalties and priorities are not divided. My only concern is the state of Voltage, and making sure this is HANDS DOWN the best brand going forward!

(The crowd pops to Matt’s declaration)

Matt Daniels: That brings me to my next point…. Territorial Invasion. Now I understand that Voltage did not have the best night on paper as it pertained to going up against other brands. Xander Payne lost his New Breed Championship to Raven Roberts of Empire, who would then make history becoming the first female to ever win the title. A truly commendable accomplishment, but I’m not happy about it. And who can forget the War Games match that saw Dynasty’s 1% taking home the victory against every other brand. I’m not happy about that either. I refuse to go out like that and just let Voltage be looked at as some second thought brand behind the likes of these other brands. Empire’s getting Fox deals, Dynasty has the chairman’s vested interest so of course they’re getting more favorable treatment, yet from a talent standpoint if you line us up Elitist by Elitist, I will go on record and say that there is NO BRAND IN EAW with as much talent all across the board than Voltage. It isn’t just some wild declaration, it’s something I want to prove to the world in the wake of the disappointing loss at Territorial Invasion. I’ve sat and pondered over what could possibly be done. How could Voltage redeem ourselves?

(Matt paces rubbing his chin before continuing)

Matt Daniels: Then it dawned on me… a month and some change from now, Voltage is hosting its first brand exclusive Marquee Event of Season 12. November 17th, 2018… Voltage presents: Wicked Games. And I am hereby inviting the rest of EAW, Dynasty, Showdown, and Empire to come and play with us. You bring your best, put them against our best.. and we’ll see who comes out on top. The offer is on the table, it’s up to you guys to cease the opportunity. Now onto my next p-

(“If I Had A Heart” by Fever Ray hits to a huge mixed reaction as Prince of Phenomenal makes his way out to the ring with a mic in hand. He’s sporting his ring gear with a vest and t-shirt. He doesn’t take his eyes off of Matt Daniels as he enters the ring.)

(POP paces around as the confused Matt looks on, the music dies down and he begins speaking)

POP: Sorry to interrupt your little damage control speech but I’m here because I have a legit concern.

Matt Daniels: Is that so?

POP: You’re damn right. I was promised an EAW World Heavyweight Championship shot following Territorial Invasion, I just wanted to make sure that we’re still on track for that.

Matt Daniels: I don’t recall ever talking to you about anything of the sort.

POP: Well yeah because it was offered to me by LC when he was in power. But regardless of if he is or isn’t anymore, it should still stand and be honored.

Matt Daniels: Sorry Justin but any promise or order made by The Enterprise is no longer relevant under my regime. I know they offered you a shot but unfortunately with them no longer being in power, their decisions don’t stick either.

POP: You got a lot of nerve pulling this bullshit, but I should have known better.

Matt Daniels: Besides, why would I reward somebody who was literally just fighting for me to have my job taken away?

POP: Oh so that’s what this is about… getting even. I see. Well look Matt, I made a business decision that any man would make. I didn’t care about your dumbass issue with LC or Andy and I damn sure didn’t have a dog in the fight, I fulfilled the obligation needed in order to ensure I get a shot at the World Heavyweight Championship, period.

Matt Daniels: I understand, but I unfortunately won’t be honoring any of their decisions regardless of who it’s for.

POP: Of course not, you know I shouldn’t even be surprised. You’re a fraud and you’ve always been a fraud. This whole little speech is a fraud, you don’t care about Voltage and you don’t care about the fans and you don’t care about the wrestlers on this roster. You only care about YOU. As long as you’re in your little comfy position of power who gives a fuck right? Till something like The Enterprise pops up and challenges your authority then you go crawling to different people for help just to push them to the side afterwards. You haven’t had a relationship with Scott for 7 years now all of a sudden he’s your buddy again? Pssst.

Matt Daniels: I understand the frustration, but…. This isn’t going to get you the title shot you’re looking for, I suggest you just wait and see what the next move is before going crazy.

POP: Wait? I’VE BEEN WAITING FOREVER TO GET ANOTHER WORLD TITLE SHOT. FUCK YOU. You’re a fraud Matt! No amount of “Voltage vs the world” shows will make up for your incompetence as a commissioner. You probably didn’t even care about the War Games match, you were so busy thinking about saving your job that you didn’t care to find the actual best talent to rep Voltage in our match. Daryl Kinkade and Charlie Marr? Those clowns could barely beat me handicapped. Just because team daniels won doesn’t mean you had a great night. This is why you shouldn’t be in power because you only care about yourself, you don’t care about the fact that not only did team Voltage not win, but they took the pin and not only did team Voltage lose, but they lost the New Breed Championship as well.. ALL UNDER YOUR WATCH.

Matt Daniels: What am I supposed to do fight battles for them?

POP: No you idiot you evaluate your talent better, you pay attention to something other than yourself for once and you’ll have a better judgement and realize who the people in the forefront you’re showcasing should be.

Matt Daniels: Let me guess, and you’re one of those people right?

POP: You’re damn right I am. I am the best talent on Voltage going today. All I need is an opportunity to prove it. The opportunity that was given to me by someone who wasn’t running this brand horribly like you are.

Matt Daniels: Well insults aside, this is what I can do for you. I’ll give you another chance to earn a shot. Tonight I’ll personally be ringside to watch you take on the World Heavyweight Champion and a potential future one in triple threat action. I’ll be evaluating your performance and it may play a part in what I should do next regarding the championship situation.

POP: Bullshit.

Matt Daniels: Take it or leave it. But I’m done entertaining you, see you later tonight, Justin.

(Matt Daniels rolls out of the ring as “Waves” by Kanye West hits, POP is seen standing in the ring yelling something off mic to Matt who’s half way down the ramp)

Kawajai: There you have it, the show must go on! A lot to unpack from that opening segment but a lot to look forward to as well, the future of POP and his world title aspirations lie in the balance as does Voltage’s pride. It’s going to be interesting to see how things continue to unfold going forward leading up to Wicked Games, but I have a feeling business will be picking up really soon.

(A split screen of Osamu Arcichida & Jacob Moore walking down the hallway shows)

Nick Angel: Switching gears, up next we have a number one contendership match for the National Elite Championship! The rising Osamu Arcichida, the veteran Jacob Moore, coming up!

(Commercial Break)

(Territorial Invasion recap)

(Voltage comes back on air as Bella Braxton is seen standing in the middle of the ring)

Bella Braxton: The following contest is scheduled for ONE FALL! And it is a number one contendership match for the NATIONAL ELITE CHAMPIONSHIP!

( “Eyes on Fire” by Zed’s dead plays as Osamu Arcichida makes his way to the ring. He isn’t playing to the crowd, as he is focused for his match.)

Bella Braxton: Making his way to the ring… From Osaka, Japan.. Weighing in at 234 pounds.. OSAMUUU!!!! ARCICHIDAAAA!!!!!!

Kawajai: Osaka’s Greatest! This is one of two men who are determined to win the National Elite Championship! But his opponent, like himself, is no easy task.

( “Today” by Smashing Pumpkins plays as Jacob Moore walks straight to the ring. His eyes are fixed onto Osamu Arcichida, as if he was trying to stare a hole through him.)

Bella Braxton: And his opponent… From Chicago, Illinois! Weighing in, at 216 pounds… JACOOBBBB!!!! MOOORREEEEE!!!!!!!

Nick Angel: “The American Psycho”. This will be quite the challenge, and quite the fight for both of these men. They both have the same goal, but which one of them, will go through, and win this match?

(Ding! Ding! Ding!)

Kawajai: Jacob Moore and Osamu Arcichida, with a collar and elbow tie up. Jacob now, pushing Osamu towards the corner, but Osamu turns it around, pushing Jacob right into the corner. Osamu irish whips Jacob into the opposite corner, runs towards him, but gets a boot into the face, staggering him. Jacob now, grabs Osamu, and puts him into a headlock. Osamu pushes Jacob into the ropes, Jacob, jumps over Osamu. As Jacob bounces off the opposite ropes, Osamu slides under him, and hits a beautiful dropkick on Jacob! As Jacob gets up, Osamu irish whips him to the ropes. Jacob rebounds off the ropes, and drops Osamu with a spinning back fist! Moore is not done yet though, as he drops a knee onto Osamu! And Moore now, just dropping knees, right onto Osamu’s chest! Moore now, going for a cover.

ONE!
TWO-

Nick Angel: Osamu, getting the shoulder up. Moore now, holding Osamu in another headlock. This match, is for the number one contendership for the National Elite Championship. Both men, are going to have to give it everything they’ve got, if they want to win this match. Osamu though, starting to get to his feet. He slips behind Jacob, and attempts a German Suplex, but Jacob flips out of it! Jacob Moore now, with a German Suplex of his own! He isn’t done, as he holds him still, and attempts a Dragon Suplex, but Osamu, elbowing Jacob, forcing Moore to release him. Osamu charges at Moore for a knee strike, but Jacob dodges it, and rolls up Osamu!

ONE!
TWO!!
TH-

Kawajai: Osamu kicks out, but Jacob with a kick right to the side of Osamu’s face! Jacob Moore now, going to the top rope. And he attempts a Moonsault! But Osamu! Rolls out of the way, causing Moore to land right on the mat! Osamu, grabs Moore, and pulls him, landing a Deadlift German Suplex! Osamu, with a bridging pin!

ONE!
TWO!!
THR-

Kawajai: Jacob kicks out, and Osamu, backs up into the corner. He awaits Jacob, ready to strike. Moore gets back to his feet, and this time Osamu lands the running knee! Osamu now, going to the top rope himself. He waits for Jacob Moore to get up, and goes for a diving dropkic- but Jacob! Catches Osamu’s legs, dropping Osamu to the canvas! Now Jacob, stomping on Osamu’s chest! The same place he has targeted with those knees! Jacob, goes for one last stomp, but Osamu catches his leg! Osamu, getting to his feet, and hits a dragon screw on Jacob. Osamu now, Transitions into a submission, and IT’S THE OSAMU LOCK!!!!! The knee bar! Locked in on Jacob Moore, but luckily for Moore, he is able to reach the ropes! Osamu, forced to break the hold, but stomps on the left leg of Moore! The same leg that was just trapped in that knee bar! Osamu now, attempts to pick up Jacob Moore, but Jacob rolls out of the ring. Osamu though, bounces off the ropes, SUICIDE DI- NO!!!! JACOB MOORE! HITTING A HUGE BOOT RIGHT INTO OSAMU!!! Jacob Moore, picks Osamu up, from the ropes, and HITS A POWERBOMB ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE RING!!!!! Meanwhile the referee is counting!

Referee: THREE!… FOUR!!… FIVE!!!…

Nick Angel: Jacob now, throws Osamu back in the ring, but Moore himself is going to the top rope. Jacob now, goes for a Moonsault, and lands it perfectly! Jacob goes for the cover!

ONE!
TWO!

Nick Angel: JACOB, WITH HIS FEET ON THE ROPES!!!

THRE-

Nick Angel: And the referee, seeing it just in time, as he stops the count! Jacob can’t believe it! He thought he had the match won! Jacob now is just arguing with the referee, but Osamu!! With a running chop block to the same left leg of Jacob Moore, before collapsing himself! Jacob now, is just holding his knee, as Osamu uses the time to crawl to the corner. Jacob though, gets to his feet before Osamu is able to. Osamu, finally gets to his feet, still in the corner, as Jacob charges right towards him. Osamu, moves out of the way, as Jacob goes shoulder first into the turnbuckles! Osamu, picks up Jacob’s left leg, and slams it right into the bottom turnbuckle, causing Jacob to collapse! Jacob, is leaning on the bottom rope though, and that leaves Osamu open to roll him up! Jacob rolls out though, but Osamu drops Jacob with a knee, right to the face! Jacob, kneeling, while Osamu runs and rebounds the ropes, looking for a shining wizard, and it connects! Osamu now, picks up the lifeless body of Jacob, and puts him on the top rope. He is attempting a Muscle Buster, but Jacob, pushes Osamu! He runs towards him, and ducks a clothesline. MAGNIFICENT MILE KI- NO! Osamu ducks it! And a huge Northern Lights Suplex to Jacob! Osamu stays there for the pin!

ONE!
TWO!!
THREE-

Kawajai: And Jacob barely stays in it! Somehow, Jacob managed to get his shoulder up! Osamu can’t believe it! He picks up Jacob, and JACOB
WITH THE LEVERAGE OF SPACE!!!! JACOB NOW, GOES FOR THE COVER ON OSAMU!

ONE!
TWO!!
THREE-

Kawajai: OSAMU GETS THE SHOULDER UP!!! Jacob can’t believe his eyes! Jacob, though, doesn’t hesitate to grab Osamu’s arms. But Osamu, pushes Jacob into the corner! Osamu goes for a forearm, but Jacob tosses him right into the corner! Now Jacob with a Clothesline to Osamu in the corner! Jacob is not done yet though, as he drops Osamu now with a German Suplex. He holds him, and this time hits a Dragon Suplex! He isn’t done yet, as this time he hits the Tiger Suplex! Completing the Triality! Jacob doesn’t go for the cover though. Instead, he grabs Osamu’s arms, and is ready to end the match! THE CATCH MY DEA- WAIT!!! OH MY GOD!! OSAMU, DUCKING THE LEFT KNEE, AND GRABS IT!!! Osamu, transitions it, INTO THE SECOND OSAMU LOCK!!!! THIS TIME IN THE CENTER OF THE RING!!!! JACOB TAPS!!! HE TAPS!!!

(Ding! Ding! Ding!)

Bella Braxton: Here is your wi-

Nick Angel: Oh my God! Osamu isn’t letting go of the Osamu lock! He is holding it! The match is over!

Kawajai: Osamu now, finally letting go, but he is now getting something from under the ring. A, singapore cane!?

Nick Angel: Osamu, has the kendo stick, and a steel chair in hand! He is putting the chair over Jacobs left knee.. And now is beating Jacob with the kendo stick! Right on the back!! There are the officials!

Kawajai: But Osamu now, stomping on the chair that’s set on Jacob’s leg! Jacobs leg, getting crushed by the steel chair! The officials are getting in the ring! Osamu, picks up the trapped leg, and slams it onto the mat! The chair crushing his leg even more, before leaving the ring! What a statement from Osamu, he’s going to need that toughness and edge if he wants to send a message to the likes of Daryl Kinkade and Charlie Marr. I hope they’re on notice.

( “Eyes on Fire” plays as Jacob Moore is left in the ring, with some of the officials staying to check on him, after escorting Osamu out.)

(Camera fades backstage to Lethal Consequences in the locker room with an adobehouse smiley face hoodie on, he has the aux cord from the speakers plugged into his phone, he’s blasting the “Broken Tooth” EP by Collar John in his zone. Suddenly, the music comes to an abrupt end and switches to “Mob Ties” by Drake much to the annoyance of LC, he turns around and sees VIP now with the aux cord plugged into his phone.)

LC: What are you doing?

VIP: What does it look like I’m doing fam? I got some bitches with me and they ain’t getting lit off this boom bap shit breh I had to liven the mood up.

LC: The only bitch I see is you. You can’t have groupies when you’re a male groupie yourself.

VIP: Ha, tough talk from a washed up bozo who just lost all his power. Wasn’t your whole reasoning for coming back to protect yourself from authority by leveraging your relationship with the likes of Ronn Banks and Andy Dominguez into getting power?

LC: Nah I came back cuz I had some CD’s and merch to sell. You’d know a thing or two about that if you wasn’t so busy being a fangirl. But yeah, I got ventures outside of just wrestling, I’m good regardless.. What about you? What you gonna do with yourself once EAW inevitably drops you because they found a better jobber?

VIP: Me? Jobber? HA! Look old man I know it’s hard but you gotta get with the times pleighboi. Vincent I motherfuckin Pride is the best ting going today in EAW. I’m the face of this company. How out of touch are you? You like music that ain’t been hot since the 90s and you don’t even recognize a goat when you see one.

LC: I do tho, everytime I look in the mirror. Look you’re funny and all but we have to come to grips with reality. You suck, Drake sucks, but if he ever wants some beats tell him holla at me and I got the connect for him ;). You however? I got a different type of beats for you, see me in that ring later tonight for that delivery.

VIP: Say less.

(LC and VIP staredown intensely as the camera fades to black and transitions back to ringside where Bella Braxton can be seen)

(Ding! Ding! Ding!)

Bella Braxton: The following match is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first…

(“It Follows” by Cane Hill plays and the arena immediately begins to reign down boos as they know who will be coming through the curtain. Xander Payne appears with an angry look on his face, holding his ribs. He walks to the ring, glaring at audience members, but not saying a single word.)

Bella Braxton: From Brampton, Canada, weighing in at 255 pounds, XANDERRRRR PAYNE!

Kawajai: Angel, this is a man who is bitter and angry coming off the huge upset at Territorial Invasion which saw Xander lose his New Breed Championship to Raven Roberts in an action-packed contest.

(Still-pictures are shown from Territorial Invasion showing Xander Payne holding up Raven Roberts’ bloody face, along with Raven Roberts flipping from the top rope onto Xander Payne and getting the cover. The camera shows Xander Payne in the ring, looking up at the screen disgusted by the images.)

Nick Angel: Yeah, as you can see Kawa, Xander Payne lost his championship in a contest with three other competitors – he had possibly the toughest challenge of any title holder at Territorial Invasion and Raven Roberts got the better of him.

Bella Braxton: And his opponent…

(‘Still Hungry’ by Adelitas Way belts through the arena and the lights dim as Jackson Blayde comes out with a spotlight on him. He points at Xander Payne and quickly marches toward the ring.)

Nick Angel: This man has a grudge as well from Territorial Invasion, as he just barely lost too ‘Team Daniels’ last week, falling short for ‘Team Enterprise’ and seceding control of Voltage to Matt Daniels.

Kawajai: Both of these men have a lot to prove tonight. Here we go, Nick. Xander Payne doesn’t even wait for Bella Braxton to get out of the ring as he begins delivering right hands to Jackson Blayde. Xander Payne backs Blayde up into the corner, delivering right hand after right hand! The ref is counting – one, two, three, four – but Xander Payne backs up and puts his hands in the air just before the referee reaches the five count. Blayde walks out of the corner… but Xander Payne catches him with a knee to the gut. Xander Payne brings Blayde in and puts him in a bear hug!

Nick Angel: Yeah, Kawa, Xander Payne is wrenching in on this bear hug as Jackson Blayde struggles to get out of it… Blayde elbows pain in the head, but it doesn’t have much effect. He does it again… BELLY-TO-BELLY SUPLEX! XANDER PAYNE JUST THREW BLAYDE CLEAR ACROSS THE RING!

Kawajai: “Yeah, you’re right, and Xander Payne is right back on his feet to continue this assault. Xander Payne picks Blayde up, clutching his hair. A huge right hand to Blayde sends him bouncing off the ropes, swinging his momentum back toward Xander Payne… POP-UP POWERBOMB!!!!!

Nick Angel: NO!! Blayde is delivering right hands to Xander Payne as he is set up in that power-bomb position! Payne stumbles backward toward the ropes… Jackson Blayde leans backwards!!! HURICANRANA ON PAYNE TO THE OUTSIDE! The referee is now staring the count as both men are down from that impact.

Kawajai: WOW! Jackson Blayde just used his leg strength to bring Xander Payne to the outside of the ring. Blayde is back on his feet now, he climbs onto the apron. Payne is climbing back to his feet and Jackson Blayde is measuring him up from atop the apron here!

Nick Angel: SHOTGUN DROPKICK!

Kawajai: Jackson Blayde is back on his feet and the crowd on their feet as well as this match picks up. The referee is now at the count of five. Jackson Blayde rolls in the ring, however, breaking up the count – this is smart ring work from Blayde. Blayde picks up Xander Payne now, rolling him back into the ring. Blayde slides back into the ring behind him. BACKSTABBER! BLAYDE WITH THE BACKSTABBER ONTO XANDER PAYNE!

ONE!!!!!

TWOO!!!!!!!

Nick Angel: PAYNE GETS THE SHOULDER UP! BLAYDE IS NOT DONE, THOUGH, AS HE IS RIGHT BACK ON HIS FEET. Jackson Blayde is now climbing to the top rope as Xander Payne is clutching his back, laid out on the canvas. Blayde points to the crowd who are standing on their feet as well, watching to see what Blayde is up to. DIVING ELBOW DROP!!!

Kawajai: XANDER PAYNE GOT OUT OF THE WAY! Jackson Blayde just came crashing down to the mat with no one there as Xander Payne rolled out of the way so quickly you would’ve thought he was on fire, Nick. Xander Payne uses the ropes for leverage to get back to his vertical base. You can see the anger in Payne’s face as he looks on at Jackson Blayde is who still laid out from that failed elbow drop. Xander Payne grabs Blayde up again, dragging him to the ropes. He lays out his left ankle on the bottom rope… HE STOMPS ON IT!

Nick Angel: Xander Payne sets Blayde’s ankle up on the bottom rope… HE DROPS AN ELBOW ON IT! XANDER PAYNE IS TRYING TO DESTROY THE LEFT ANKLE OF JACKSON BLAYDE!

Kawajai: Xander Payne does his damn homework, Nick, and he’s well aware that left ankle of Blayde has been surgically repaired before. This is a sick hit job by Xander Payne, but what’s new! Xander Payne… XANDER PAYNE IS PUTTING JACKSON BLAYDE IN AN ANKLE LOCK! LOOK AT THIS, BLAYDE IS SCREAMING IN PAIN AS XANDER WRENCHES ON THAT LEFT ANKLE!

Nick Angel: I think Jackson Blayde might tap out! He is screaming in pain here, Kawa, and Xander Payne is not letting him get anywhere near a rope to break up this painful hold! JACKSON BLAYDE IS HOLDING HIS HAND IN THE AIR AS IF HE’S GONNA TAP … HE LOOKS LIKE HE’S GONNA END THIS MATCH RIGHT HERE, RIGHT NOW!

Kawajai: NO! Jackson Blayde uses the strength of his leg to catapult Xander Payne straight into the turnbuckle. But the damage is done, Jackson Blayde is holding that ankle in agony as the referee checks in on him. Xander Payne is on his knees now, shaking his head – trying to get the cobwebs out from going face first into that turnbuckle. Payne is back on his feet, however, and Jackson Blayde is standing in the corner using the ropes for leverage and to avoid putting weight on that left ankle…

Nick Angel: XANDER PAYNE RUNS TOWARD BLAYDE… BLAYDE GOT OUT OF THE WAY AND PAYNE WENT RIBS FIRST INTO THAT TURNBUCKLE! Payne turns around however and Jackson Blayde charges toward Payne…. A HUGE CLOTHESLINE FROM XANDER PAYNE STOPS BLAYDE RIGHT IN HIS TRACKS!

Kawajai: Payne walks toward Blayde now, with a sinister look on his face, grabbing his arm… he drags him, setting him up in the corner. ‘YOU WILL JUST BE AN EXAMPLE’ Payne yells at Blayde, slapping him as he sits in the corner. Payne delivers several stomps on the chest of Blayde… what’s he doing?! Xander Blayde sets Jackson Blayde’s leg up on the bottom turnbuckle… DIVING BOMB!!!

Nick Angel: BLAYDE GETS OUT OF THE WAY! PAYNE JUST WENT FOLLOW SPEED INTO THE TURNBUCKLE, HEAD FIRST! Jackson Blayde limps back to his feet… 901 KNEE STRIKE!!

Kawajai: NO!!!! PAYNE DUCKS!! SUPER-KICK! NO, BLAYDE DUCKED THE SUPER KICK! 901 KNEE STRIKE!!! 901 KNEE STRIKE HITS XANDER PAYNE!! But Jackson Blayde goes down to the mat as well, clutching that ankle!! HE NEEDS TO MAKE THE COVER!!!

Nick Angel: Blayde slowly crawls over to Payne, but his ankle is clearly still hurting him… he hooks the leg!

ONE!!!!!

TWO!!!!!!!!!

Kawajai: PAYNE KICKS OUT!!! He’s still in this match as Jackson Blayde is still laying on top of him, trying to catch his breath. Xander Payne quickly rolls toward the ropes, however, trying to get away from Blayde and recover from that huge knee strike which we’re seeing on replay here. Xander Payne is on the outside, on the apron, trying to get back to his feet. Blayde is back on his feet now, walking towards Payne… Payne catches blade with a right hand as he approached him! Blayde goes in again, but Payne goes for another right hand… JACKSON BLAYDE COUNTERS WITH A KICK TO THE GUT BETWEEN THE ROPES!

Nick Angel: Xander Payne clutches his stomach in pain, his head sticking between the top and middle rope… Jackson Blayde sticks Payne’s head between his legs, dragging him into the ring!! HE LEFTS XANDER PAYNE UP! – CROWNBREAKER PACKAGE PILEDRIVER! IT’S A PIN!!!

ONE!!!!!!!

TWO!!!!!!!!!

THREEEEE!!!!!!!!

(Ding! Ding! Ding!)

Bella Braxton: HERE IS YOUR WINNER…. JACKSONNNNN BLAYYYYYYYDE!

Kawajai: Jackson Blayde gets a huge victory over Xander Payne who is lights out in the middle of the ring right now from that piledriver. A huge victory tonight, Nick! Talk about a bounce back, he looked great last week at Territorial Invasion but his team couldn’t put it together, tonight was a great showcase for him though, great things are in that man’s future.

Nick Angel: A huge victory for Blayde, but one has to wonder what will be going through the mind of Xander Payne after another loss this week coming off of that upset at Territorial Invasion.

(Highlights of Devan Dubians career plays including his most notable championship wins and feuds and ends with a closer look at his 2018 leading up to Territorial Invasion. It then transitions to a room where Devan Dubian can be seen sitting on a chair next to Stew-O who’s sitting next to him.)

Stew-O: Devan Dubian, I have to start off by congratulating you on getting over this hump in your career in The Enterprise, how does it feel?

Devan Dubian: It feels satisfying, from the beginning of Season 12 I’ve been plagued with the “wrath” of Lethal Consequences. He saw me as the final remaining piece of a bygone era, but an era that he claims did a number on his legacy. I had no dog in whatever fight he was fighting, but I had to defend myself and do what was necessary to move on with my career, and now I’m here. I don’t gotta look over my shoulder and see if anybody is after me, I can finally just look… forward.

Stew-O: Season 12 is still young, there’s still a lot to accomplish, do you have any goals?

Devan Dubian: Of course, the goal is always championship gold and I have spent over a year trying to reach that despite setback after setback. I won’t lie and say it’s not frustrating, I am somebody who should be the face of this brand and the face of this company. Seeing Rex capture two world championships in the timespan where I’m still scratching and clawing to capture just one this year, it feels like a slap in the face. I’m no stranger to Rex, I can’t even count on my fingers how many times we have crossed paths in our careers, and it’s nothing personal when I say that I know for a fact Rex is not on the level that I am, yet he’s experienced way more success than I have this year. That eats at me every single day, and it’s a wrong that I know I need to right.

Stew-O: How do you plan on righting this wrong?

Devan Dubian: The only way I know how to, by winning that championship. Any world championship really, it doesn’t matter to me, but since I’m on Voltage the World Heavyweight Championship is in my sights until further notice. I’ve spent too much time devaluing myself, stooping to the levels of lesser wrestlers, and playing it safe. I think I need to remind the people just exactly who I am, the most consistent Elitist in this company ever since I returned in 2014, the man who headlined three straight Pain for Prides, the man who was stamped and coronated at the following Pain for Pride by two of EAW’s founders, Banks and Mak. 2018 hasn’t been my best year so far, but there’s time to turn it around, and I’m going to do just that.

Stew-O: Is this officially a challenge?

Devan Dubian: It’s not a challenge. It’s just a notice, a notice that I’m coming for world championship gold and I’m not letting anybody dictate that. The shenanigans are done with, it’s back to what’s important. Matt, I saved your career and I’d suggest you steer clear of my pursuits, POP, if you wanna get in my way I’ll have no problem running you over in the process. Rex, Darkane, Diamond Cage, I honestly don’t care, take your pick. I’m coming.

(Devan Dubian stands up and leaves the interview as Stew-O looks on, the camera fades to black.)

(“Glory Bridge” by Chief Keef feat. A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie begins to play as Malcolm Jones and Astrea Jordan emerge onto the stage as the crowd cheers heavily. They have the Tag Team Championship belts as they approach the ring.)

RA: The following contest is for the Tag Team Championships. Introducing first, the current Tag Team Champions… MALCOLM JONES AND ASTREA JORDAN…. DRILLMATIC!

(What A Shame – Too Close To Touch hits as Daryl Kinkade comes out onto the stage. He then heads down to the ring.)

(Ding! Ding! Ding!)

Stew: This match is for the tag team titles. Marrkade can add another championship to their Co National Elite Title. Marr and Jordan will start things off. Marr has the clear size advantage here but that doesn’t stop Jordan from charging in. She connects with several elbow shots to Marr. He falls back and Jordan kicks him in the gut. Stew: JONES GRABS KINKADE AS HE CATCHES HIM OFF GUARD… BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEX! Jones hurries to Kinkades location. He picks him up and faces the turnbuckle as he gets in position… TORNADO DDT! HE ABSOLUTELY PLANTS KINKADE! He pulls Kinkade to the middle of the ring but he kicks Jones away! Jones charges back at him but Kinkade catches him with a drop toe hold! Daryl now leaps for his partner as he makes the tag as Charlie Marr enters the match.

Kawajai: Marr now grabs Jones as he lifts him up. He knees him in the back. He pushes him away and Jones spins around… BUT MARR DROPS HIM WITH A HUGE BIG BOOT! MARR COVERS!

ONEE! TWOOOO!

Kawajai: Jones manages a kick out! Charlie Marr plots his next course of action as Jones begins to stir! He pulls himself up and Charlie performs an amazing High Rise Drop Kick! BUT JORDAN COVERS IT! SHE DROP KICKS MARR IN THE BACK! Astrea Jordan regains herself as she tries to establish the upper hand in this match!

ONEEE! TWOOOOO!

Stew: KALINE NOW PULLS THE REFEREE OUT OF THE RING! JORDAN STANDS UP SURPRISED! DARYL KINKADE TAGS HIMSELF IN AS MARR CRAWLS TO THE CORNER! JORDAN IS YELLING AT KALINE AS SHE BACKS HER WAY UP THE RAMP! KINKADE NOW SPINS JORDAN AROUND AS HE CATCHES HER OFF GUARD… BEAUTIFUL LIE! LEGGED FISHERMAN BUSTER! JONES IS STILL DOWN AT RING SIDE AS KINKADE COVERS! THE REFEREE SLIDES BACK INTO THE RING!

ONEEEE! TWOOOOOOOOOO! THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

(Ding! Ding! Ding!)

(“What A Shame” begins playing as Daryl Kinkade stands up and Charlie Marr joins him. The two are handed the Tag Team Championships as the celebrate their victory.)

RA: HERE ARE YOU WINNERS… AND NEW UNIFIED TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS… DARYL KINKADE AND CHARLIE MARR… MARRKADE!

Nick Angel: I CAN’T BELIEVE WHAT WE’RE SEEING! FRESH OFF A SUCCESSFUL DEFENSE LAST WEEK DRILLMATIC DROP THE TITLES TO MARRKADE! AND NOT ONLY THAT, BUT MARRKADE ARE NOW DOUBLE CHAMPIONS HERE IN EAW!!! ALL THANKS TO MADISON KALINE.

Kawajai: I’M IN JUST AS MUCH AWE AS YOU ARE PARTNER, ASTRAEA BRUTALLY ASSAULTED MADISON LAST EMPIRE BUT I DIDN’T EXPECT MADISON TO COME TO VOLTAGE FOR HER REVENGE! THESE TWO BITTER RIVALS JUST CAN’T GET ENOUGH OF EACH OTHER. BUT NONETHELESS CONGRATS TO MARRKADE, THIS HAS TO BE ANOTHER HISTORIC WIN FOR THE GROUP.

Nick Angel: It sure is! Not only are they co-National Elite Champs, but they simultaneously hold the Unified Tag Team Championships as well! Don’t look now but MarrKade may slowly but surely be rising up the ranks as an all time great tag team here in EAW with these accomplishments. What a sad and abrupt ending to the reign for Drillmatic though, they had a great thing going, but unfortunately their business in other brands came back to bite them.

(MarrKade lift up both the Unified Tag Team Championships and the National Elite Championships as they make their way up the ramp, Drillmatic can be seen in the ring recovering)

(Commercial Break)

(Operation Doomsday Advertisement)

(Voltage comes back from commercial as Daryl Kinkade and Charlie Marr can be seen celebrating walking down the hallway)

Charlie Marr: I can’t believe we did it, what a crazy past two months it’s been!

Daryl Kinkade: You’re telling me? From winning the NE championship, headlining Territorial Invasion, and now this. It can’t get any better!

Charlie Marr: You’re the best partner a bloke can ask for, thanks for being the GOAT that you are and coming through for us.

Daryl Kinkade: Me? Nah man you’re the GOAT. Never change no matter what anybody says, I wouldn’t want anybody else by my side. You bring that edge that I simply don’t possess.

???: Great match out there guys.

(The taken by surprise Marr and Kinkade turn around to see Matt Daniels)

Daryl Kinkade: Oh hey boss.

Matt Daniels: Hey fellas, I just wanted to personally offer you my congratulations for becoming double champions, as unorthodox as it may look. You still did it.

Charlie Marr: Well it was kinda your decision to reward the both of us.

Matt Daniels: You’re absolutely right, it was my decision and I don’t regret it despite all of the criticism that I’ve been given about it. But I don’t think I was ever clear about how I wanted this situation to play out. I was so caught up and distracted by my own personal issues and fighting my career I kinda put the National Elite Championship situation on the back burner. So now that I’m finally free, here’s how this is going to play out.

Charlie Marr: Oh boy.

Daryl Kinkade: Welp.

Matt Daniels: You guys can’t really think you would have been able to defend the championship in handicap matches or anything did you? As great as the co-champ thing sounds and as historic as it is, at the end of the day we must come to the decision of who exactly will be the SOLE National Elite Champion.

Charlie Marr: I should’ve figured.

Matt Daniels: That’s why next week, we will come to that decision… by the way of a match. Charlie Marr versus Daryl Kinkade, FOR SOLO RIGHTS OF THE NATIONAL ELITE CHAMPIONSHIP. I hope you guys understand why I needed to make this decision and don’t take it personal, it was coming eventually.

Daryl Kinkade: Nah we get it, thanks for even believing in us to make us co-champs when you could’ve just restarted the match or something

Charlie Marr: I guess, may the best man win.

(Charlie and Daryl exchange nods and walk their separate ways with the tag and NE titles on their shoulders as Matt Daniels looks on)

(Rebecca Sawyer stands in the center of the ring preparing to announce the competitors of the next match.)

Rebecca Sawyer: The following match is set for one fall, introducing first weighing in at 230 pounds, from Oakland California, Lethal Consequences!

(“Blackout” by Company Flow plays as LC makes his way to the ring.)

Nick Angel: The leader of the Enterprise has his game face on tonight! He’s looking to make a point against VIP, Kawajai!

Kawajai: That’s right, Nick, but he had better not underestimate his opponent, otherwise Blue Moon is going to have a very bad day!

(As Lethal Consequences goes to his corner and prepares for the match, Rebecca begins to announce his opponent.)

Rebecca Sawyer: Introducing his opponent, weighing in at 280 pounds, from Toronto, Ontario, Canada, V…I…P!

(“God’s Plan” by Drake plays as VIP Makes his way down to the ring.)

Kawajai: The 6ix God has his priorities straight, Nick, he knows that all waiting in line does is, at best, lead to you being a rich old man. He bucks the process and takes what he wants!

Nick Angel: Well, that may be, but he’s not dealing with just anyone tonight, he’s going toe-to-toe with the leader of the Enterprise!

(As Rebecca exits the ring the referee checks both competitors before calling for the bell to start the match.)

(DING! DING! DING!)

Nick Angel: Alright, that’s the bell to start the match and to start things off Lethal Consequences is looking to put pressure on VIP by trying to back him into the corner! VIP sees the trap, though, and circles out of the way, pelting LC with a hard chop across the chest! LC stumbles back against the ropes, holding his chest as VIP pushes him into the corner and climbs to the middle rope!

Kawajai: VIP grabs LC by the hair…he brings his fist down into the face of Blue Moon!

(The crowd chants along with the punches:

ONE!

TWO!

THREE! FOU-)

Kawajai: Look out! LC grabs VIP by the hips and runs forward! POWERBOMB! VIP is laid out!

Nick Angel: That’s right, Kawajai, looks like VIP came into this match a little over confident and let his guard down! LC pulls The 6ix God to his feet…only to be met with a shot to the gut! Another, and one more as VIP shows that he’s not quite done! Both of these men came out swinging, Kawajai, it seems that right now neither have an advantage!

Kawajai: VIP is about to take that advantage! He hits the ropes…BIG SHOULDER BLOCK floors LC! VIP dusts his hands, looks like he’s getting ready to end this match early…”0 TO 100”! VIP HITS THE DEADLIFT GERMAN SUPLEX, he uses that to set up his finish, VIP isn’t messing around! He goes for the pin as the referee gets into position!

ONE!

TWO!

NO!

LC kicks out as the officials hand makes the two count! VIP slaps the mat in frustration, but pulls LC up by his hair…jab to the jaw of LC! Another! Discus punch! LC is staggering on his feet from the barrage that VIP is throwing his way! Nick, it looks like VIP is gonna take this match!

Nick Angel: I wouldn’t be so sure, LC isn’t done yet…BIG ROLLING WHEEL KICK! That’s a momentum changer, right there! VIP got cracked right in the nose by LC’s heel, and stumbles back holding his face in shock. Not LC hits the ropes and drops VIP with a running dropkick! The Blue Moon is fired up! He drapes VIP over the middle rope. VIP is still stunned from the surge that LC showed…619! LC hit the ropes and the Tiger Feint kick landed true right in the face of VIP how stumbles away from the ropes LC keeping the agression up, though, Kawajai…FLASHBACK! He hit that sleeper slam backbreaker!

Kawajai: VIP needs to refocus if he wants to win this match! LC is starting to run away with it! Looks like LC wants to end it now, though, he grabs VIP’s ankles and looks to set in the Blackout…if he locks the sharpshooter in it’s all over! NO! VIP kicks him away and quickly regains his feet! VIP IS FIRED UP! Punch to the jaw of LC, followed by a back elbow shot, staggering LC back a step, but now VIP is met with a forearm shot from LC…these two are going back and forth, grabbing the back of each other’s heads and just throwing punches!

VIP, apparently tired of getting punched in the face, pushes LC back and hits the ropes…Laria – NO! LC HIT BLACK REIGN! He ducked the clothesline and countered with his cutter finisher! VIP IS OUT! Lethal Consequences goes for the pin!

ONE!

TWO!

THREE!

(DING! DING! DING!)

Nick Angel: That’s it, the referee calls for the bell, VIP has fell to Lethal Consequences! Both men came out of the gate firing, but LC was just able to pull off the win!

Kawajai: I have a feeling this won’t be the last time these two men encounter one another. That exchange earlier tonight said it all. It should be interesting to see how VIP responds to this loss.

(As ‘Blackout’ by Company flow begins to play as Lethal Consequences makes his way up the ramp, leaving VIP recovering in the ring.)

(Commercial Break)

(Recap of POP’s exchange with Matt Daniels earlier tonight plays)

(Matt Daniels makes his way down to the ring as the crowd pops. A chair is set up next the announcers where he sits to evaluate the performance of POP. He has a clip-board in his hands.)

Bella Braxton: From Seattle, Washington – weighing in at one hundred and eighty-four pounds, he is THE ASSAULT RIFLE…. NOAHHHHH REIGNERRRRR!

Kawajai: Well, Nick, Matt Daniels has reason to be happy with this man – he’s the reason Daniels is out here analyzing the performance of anyone! Noah Reigner is feeling pretty confident after he picked up the victory for ‘Team Daniels’ at Territorial Invasion and deservedly so.

(“If I Had A Heart” by Fever Ray plays and POP comes out on stage with a cocky smile on his face. He whips his hair back and begins walking to the ring, not acknowledging anyone. (“Still Unbroken” Lynyrd Skynyrd plays and the crowd erupts as the EAW World Heavyweight Champion makes his way out to the ring. No smiles, Rex looks determined and slaps a few hands on the way to the ring.)

Kawajai: After a tough loss at Territorial Invasion, the World Champion looks to make it known he still reigns at the top here on Voltage regardless of the outcome of that amazing War Games match.

All three men are on their knees now… Reigner runs over toward POP and kicks him in the gut, pushing him toward the corner. A huge forearm from Reigner to POP! Reigner runs over to McAllister and delivers another huge forearm. Reigner whips McAllister into the corner with POP… he charges toward them… A HUGE KNEE TO POP AS MCALLISTER GOT OUT OF THE WAY JUST IN TIME!

Nick Angel: WATCH OUT! MCALLISTER CONNECTS ON REIGNER WITH A JUMPING DDT! THAT WAS HUGE!

Bella Braxton: HERE IS YOUR WINNER, REX MCALLISTERRR!!!!!!!!!!!

Kawajai: The World Heavyweight Champion picks up the victory after POP got distracted on the outside, arguing and in a pushing match with the General Manager Matt Daniels. Noah Reigner is hanging half in the ring, almost there to break up the pin, but the assault on the outside from POP was just too much to make up for as Rex McAllister hit the Rex Effect for the win.

Nick Angel: Well you said it earlier, Kawa, the World Champion needed to prove he was still the top guy here on Voltage after Territorial Invasion and that’s exactly what he did in this match. You have to wonder what’s next for POP as things did not go as planned and he may have just made a new enemy out of our Voltage Commissioner..

(Rex raises his championship high as the camera fades to black)
