(The intro fades into a highlight video of the EAW Draft Show. A graphic showing the various faces of members of the EAW Roster is shown, rapidly going through every person before finally stopping. The face of EAW Champion, Malcolm Jones, pops up. The process is repeated and the face of Andrea Valentine is shown. Noah Reigner, Rex McAllister, Raven Roberts, Charlie Marr, Ms. Extreme, and Tyler Wolfe are all seen. These people are just some of the faces that make up the gold brand now.)
(The highlight video fades out and cuts to the ringside area. The camera pans around the Enterprise Center in St. Louis, Missouri, and the fans are on their feet, waving their signs and screaming! They are definitely excited for the first Voltage of Season 13!!! As always, “33rd Blakk Glass” by Sosmula & Zillakami is blasting throughout the arena, and the traditional gold and white pyro is back! It explodes from the stage in grand fashion.)
(When the smoke clears, and the music fades out, the camera cuts to the broadcast booth where James Peters and Rich Russillo are standing by. This week, both announcers are sporting #RIPEmpire custom T-shirts in addition to their usual slacks and sports coat combination. They also have their trademark shit-eating grins on their faces.)
James Peters: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the first episode of Voltage for Season 13!!! If you are tuning in for the very first time, I am James Peters!
Rich Russillo: And I’m his better half, Rich Russillo!
James Peters: ….
Rich Russillo: The landscape of EAW as we know it has changed, and more importantly, since we only care about Voltage, so has Sunday nights!!! Impact is gone! Ripley is gone! The Wildcards are gone!
James Peters: But now Voltage is home to the EAW Championship! The Interwire Championship! The Specialists Championship! The Cash in the Vault briefcase! The 24/7 Battle Royal contract!
Rich Russillo: Holy shit, it’s a lot, but honestly, I’m stoked. Captain Charisma and the Wicked Bitch of Voltage have stacked the roster with champions, familiar faces, future world champions, and some of the brightest, and the most interesting newcomers we have ever seen!
James Peters: And most importantly… no Visual Prophet. :blessed:

James Peters: Sorry, Veena. Hate it for ya!
Rich Russillo: We don’t really. For as talented as The Visual Prophet is, getting him the hell away from Veena and Voltage is perhaps the most important thing to happen at this year’s draft.
James Peters: I won’t argue with that. Neutralizing Veena was huge, and our roster is fuckin’ fire.
Rich Russillo: Tonight’s show is lit! How about th-
(Before Rich can finish his thought, “ME” by Taylor Swift ft. Brendon Urie, begins to play across the PA system.)

Rich Russillo: Lord, I think we spoke it into existence.
(The crowd erupts in boos as Veena steps onto the stage. Veena is dressed in a pair of camel-colored skinny trousers, a cream colored silk top that falls off her shoulders, and gold Opyum YSL logo-heeled sandals. Her blonde locks are done in Victoria’s Secret style waves and her makeup is minimal, complete with a soft pink lip. She has a microphone in her hand.)
James Peters: It’s fair to say this crowd doesn’t want to hear anything Veena has to say.
Rich Russillo: The most accurate statement ever.
(Veena’s music dies down and she begins speaking, much to the disgust of the crowd.)
Veena Adams: You know, I don’t want to be here anymore than you guys want me to be here, so you can all go fuck yourselves, and by the way, this city is fucking disgusting. What the hell kind of place invents something called a ‘pork steak’? That’s honestly so gross, and pretty much just sums St. Louis and the state of Missouri in a nutshell.
Crowd: FUCK YOU, VEENA! FUCK YOU, VEENA! FUCK YOU, VEENA!
Veena Adams: It’s honestly whatever. You can scream ‘fuck you, Veena’ all you want, but the fact of the matter is, I have done everything I can to try and make this shitshow better. I have given you people exactly what you want which is blood, gore, and pure unfiltered chaos. This world thrives on death and destruction, and honestly, as I look at this new roster Voltage has been saddled with thanks to Matty Daniels pure incompetence, death and destruction is exactly what Voltage deserves. The fucking cumrags on this roster now make me not give one iota of a fuck about Voltage. Andrea Valentine, Raven Roberts, Consuela Rose Ava, Ms. Extreme, Dr. Bethany Blue, and fucking Tyler Wolfe have no business lacing up their boots, let alone competing inside my ring. It’s a disgrace to everything I worked so hard to build and protect, and I truly hope and pray that all of them get injured at some point this season and find themselves sitting on their fat asses at home, where they fucking belong, or on their backs, letting their man plug their holes, because honestly, that’s all that they’re good for.
Veena Adams: The draft was the absolute worst moment of my life. I miss Vizzy so much, but I know he is going to set Showdown on fire and become the absolute greatest Elitist of all time. But that doesn’t change the fact that I’m not happy right now. I hate life. I hate everything. I’m going on vacation.
(The crowd pops huge for that announcement. Veena just rolls her eyes in response.)
Veena Adams: As I said, I’m going on vacation. But before I go, I want to talk a little bit about Voltage’s first exclusive Free-Per-View of Season 13. On August tenth, from the TD Garden in Boston, Voltage will present Bloodsport. Bloodsport is an entirely new FPV for EAW, and honestly, it’s the brainchild of both Matty and myself, and completely planned out before he fucked me over on draft night. Hardcore, extreme wrestling is what this company was built on. You people love seeing wrestlers go through hell in order to try and win a match. The success of the Voltage exclusive match, Barbed Wire Massacre, goes without saying, and Bloodsport is designed to celebrate that kind of chaos. Every single match that happens at Bloodsport will be contested under no disqualification rules at the very least, but believe me, there’s going to be some wild matches.
(A rare smile crosses Veena’s face because the crowd can’t hate on her for the announcement of Voltage’s first big show of the new season.)
Veena Adams: The main event of Bloodsport will be for the EAW Championship. It’s no secret that I despise Malcum Jones. He’s the most overrated piece of garbage currently in EAW, and I will be damned if he’s looked at as the face of my show. As far as I’m concerned, Voltage needs a champion who’s vision for this brand aligns with mine, and that most certainly is not Malcum Jones, even if I don’t entirely hate his views on women’s wrestling. With Vizzy over on Showdown, I am forced to look at this Gawd awful roster and really think about who I can put against Malcum. The choice is pretty obvious and should come as no shock, given the fact that the person I’m selecting called out Malcum at the Draft Show, and he is totally someone who shares my beliefs.
(The crowd starts to buzz because they know exactly who Veena is about to announce.)
Veena Adams: At Bloodsport, Malcum will defend his championship against CHARLIE MARR in another fun, rather creative match that I came up with all by myself; an Electrified Steel Cage of Death match. What’s that, you ask. Well, it’s literally exactly what it sounds like. Malcum and Charlie will be locked inside a steel cage that is obviously electric so if either touch it during the match they’re going to have the shit shocked out of them, which personally I find to be a rather funny concept. There will also be two trash cans full of weapons for both men to play with. There’s no escape. You can not pussy out and get out of the cage to win the match. The match will end in pinfall, submission, or death.
(The casual way Veena says that last sentence is disturbing to say the least.)
Veena Adams: Bloodsport will be a great time, I’m sure.
(A sarcastic smile crosses Veena’s face as she lowers the microphone. Her music kicks up again, and she disappears to the back.)
(The crowd is left buzzing as the camera cuts back to James and Rich, who are both shaking their heads.)
James Peters: An Electrified Steel Cage of Death match…
Rich Russillo: I’m not sure what to even say right now, James.
James Peters: Well, tonight’s main event got more exciting. The stakes in that match for MJ and Charlie are higher than ever. Throw in an explosive personality like Ms. Extreme, and the heart and passion Andrea Valentine brings to the table, this is no doubt the match of the week. 😉
Rich Russillo: We do have to take a quick commercial break, but when we come back, we’re gunna kick off Season 13 with a match between the man who stole the show at the draft alongside TLA in Cepheus St. Claire, and one of the new faces of Voltage…

(“Breakin’ Outta Hell” by Airbourne plays as Shortfuse PAKA comes out to the stage. He stops in his tracks and starts slapping himself repeatedly on the top of his head before making his way down to the ring. The crowd somewhat cheers for him.)
Bella Braxton: Introducing first, from Mie Province, Japan, weighing in at 225 pounds…SHORTFUSE, PAKA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
James Peters: Well here comes Shortfuse PAKA, who came up short against Santo Muerte on Fight Grid Live last week but that hasn’t stopped him from putting the whole Voltage roster on notice. He’s confident he can beat his opponent tonight, Cepheus St. Claire, but will he really?
Rich Russillo: Oh c’mon! You know anyone associated with Provencal is greatness! If he’s anything like him I’m sure he will dominate Cepheus tonight!

(The constant bickering of the commentators continue as Shortfuse PAKA enters the ring and makes a loud roaring noise before leaning in his corner mumbling under his breath. “Breakin’ Outta Hell” fades off.)
(“Mob Ties” by Drake then plays to loud boos from the crowd as Cepheus St. Claire comes out. He shakes his head and starts making fun of the crowd as he slowly makes his way to the ring.)
Bella Braxton: And his opponent, from Santa Clara California, now residing in Halifax, Nova Scotia Canada, weighing in at 230 pounds…THE TREACHEROUS ONE, CEPHEUS …ST …CLAIRE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
James Peters: Cepheus St. Claire and TLA put on a classic at the Draft last week but Cepheus has moved onto other things. This man is a technical genius and my bet is that he’s willing to get revenge on anyone that has crossed him during his time here.
Rich Russillo: He dissed TLA even after the respect he gave him and now he’s out on the hunt. This man is cold-blooded; no doubt in my mind he won’t show a sign of remorse to anyone here, not even Provencal’s brother-in-law :mjcry:
James Peters: Smh.

(Cepheus St. Claire enters the ring and raises his hands to loud boos from the crowd. He scoffs at them, then looks at PAKA. He examines him for a second as the ref convinces him to go into his corner. Both men are situated as the bell rings.)
(DING! DING! DING!)
James Peters: Here we go as the first Season 13 match on Voltage begins!
Rich Russillo: It’s lit!!!
Rich Russillo: PAKA looks ready to go but Cepheus is still yelling at the crowd; both men circling around each other, lockup. Both men jockeying for position as size advantage does not play a huge part in this matchup. Cepheus going under the arms of PAKA, oh with a waist lock, PAKA trying his best to push Cepheus’ arms away but that vice like grip has him locked. PAKA looking for a way, OH A SNAPMARE BY PAKA BRINGING CEPHEUS DOWN! PAKA has him locked in a sitting headlock as Cepheus reaching out to the ropes. Cepheus showing signs of life as he’s slowly getting himself up to his feet.
James Peters: Cepheus pushing PAKA to the ropes, clean break- OH CEPHEUS WITH A EUROPEAN UPPERCUT STRAIGHT TO THE JAW OF PAKA!
Rich Russillo: PAKA feeling that as he’s grabbing Cepheus by the throat, Cepheus begging now as he has no escape… OH PAKA THROWING CEPHEUS LIKE A RAG DOLL ACROSS THE RING! Safe to say PAKA is not happy as Cepheus staggers back into a corner. PAKA quickly cornering Cepheus, oh no PAKA is pushing back Cepheus’ head, OH MY GOD! PAKA SMACKING THE CHEST OF CEPHEUS HARD AS THE SOUND IS HEARD ALL OVER THE ARENA! Cepheus falling out of the corner as PAKA is soaking in the loud cheers from the crowd. Cepheus pulling himself up slowly as PAKA watches, PAKA moving back, RUNNING LARIAT- NO CEPHEUS DUCKS UNDER MAKING PAKA STUMBLE TO THE GROUND! CEPHEUS KEEPING THE MOMENTUM RUNNING TO THE ROPES, RUNNING KNEE TO THE FACE OF PAKA! PAKA is out for sure as Cepheus goes for the pin, hooks the leg!

Rich Russillo: Early kick out by PAKA, your surely gonna have to do more to take down PAKA.
James Peters: Cepheus looking confident in himself as he gets up, he’s capitalizing on this moment to breathe as he’s landing stomps down on PAKA. Cepheus going down pushing PAKA back locking a rest hold. PAKA is trying to reach his leg out to the ropes but Cepheus shifts to the right moving his leg up.
Rich Russillo: OH BUT PAKA’S LEG IS ON THE MIDDLE ROPE! Cepheus more irate than he was going into this match as PAKA won’t stay down. PAKA trying to pull himself up again but Cepheus grabbing him, looks like he’s bringing him to the center of the ring. CEPHEUS WITH AN UPPERCUT TO PAKA! PAKA moving to the ropes as I think Cepheus has him in the perfect spot right now.
James Peters: Cepheus Irish whipping PAKA to the opposite side of the ring here, JUMPING CUTTER- NO PAKA PUSHING HIS ELBOW DOWN ON THE CHEST OF CEPHEUS HALTING HIM IN MID AIR AND SLAMMING HIM DOWN TO THE GROUND!
Rich Russillo: Cepheus clutching at his chest as PAKA is giving him no time to breathe here looking for something big… oh no… he’s on the top rope! What could he possibly be thinking of?? OH A DIVING HEADBUTT TO THE GUT OF CEPHEUS ST. CLAIRE BY PAKA! PAKA starting to shift the momentum to his favor as he’s grabbing Cepheus by the chin and bringing him up! KNIFE EDGE CHOP BY PAKA! He’s feeling it now! CEPHEUS CHOPPING BACK AT PAKA! Both men are going at it know with multiple knife edge chops to one another! WHEN WILL THIS END??? Finally Cepheus with a chop pushing PAKA back! PAKA turning around! BUT HE TURNS BACK! KNOCKOUT HEADBUTT! BOTH MEN ARE FLOORED!
James Peters: Cepheus is down for the count right now but it looks like PAKA doesn’t have the energy to go for the pin!
Rich Russillo: This could be a lost opportunity at a win for PAKA! But PAKA is showing signs of life here as he’s reaching his arm out! OH HES PLACED HIS ARM FLAT ON THE BODY OF CEPHEUS, PINFALL ATTEMPT!

James Peters: NO! A KICK OUT!
Rich Russillo: PAKA was too late to get the pin on Cepheus!
James Peters: Both men getting up to their feet right now… both men looking square in the eyes of the other! PAKA REELING BACK WITH A FOREARM SMASH… QUICKLY CATCHING CEPHEUS OFF GUARD! PAKA is going off now as he’s repeatedly crashing his forearm into the head of Cepheus! Oh no… but it looks like he isn’t done now as he’s lifting Cepheus up into a fireman’s carry-
Rich Russillo: CEPHEUS ALREADY WITH RAPID ELBOWS TO THE HEAD OF PAKA FORCING HIM TO PUT HIM DOWN! Looks like PAKA was going for The Compact Driver but Cepheus was well aware of it! Genius! He had it scouted!
James Peters: Cepheus not wasting any time as he mounts PAKA! CEPHEUS STARTING THE BARRAGE OF PUNCHES NOW AS HE RAINS HIS FIST DOWN ON THE HEAD OF SHORTFUSE PAKA! PAKA trying to keep his guard up but Cepheus is too fast for him! The Ref trying to get Cepheus off PAKA but Cepheus still going at it. Finally PAKA pushing Cepheus away from him as PAKA is in serious pain right now!

James Peters: Both men are down on the ground, trying to figure out where they are as the Ref is yelling at them to get into the ring. I don’t think the ref has a choice here but to start the count.

Rich Russillo: This match has been insane!
James Peters: Both men showing signs of life as each of them are slowly getting up.

Rich Russillo: Cepheus up first and it looks like he’s set his sights on PAKA as he slowly crawls up to his feet. Cepheus is bringing him up and he’s throwing him right back into the ring as the count stops. Both men joining each other in the ring here. PAKA slowly getting up to his feet as Cepheus watches on… BUT PAKA WITH A CHOP BLOCK TO THE KNEE OF CEPHEUS! Cepheus moving back but that doesn’t mean he’s down yet as Cepheus now slowly starting to take advantage, slamming down his elbow on the back of PAKA’s head. But PAKA, the will to fight, continues as Cepheus attacks him he’s getting up like nothing, Cepheus finally stopping-
James Peters: PAKA GRABBING CEPHEUS AND THROWING HIM IN THE CORNER!!! Ths looks like this is just the start of a brutal attack by PAKA as he grabs him, PAKA RAMMING HIS SHOULDER INTO THE GUT OF CEPHEUS BRINGING HIM DOWN TO A SITTING POSITION IN THE CORNER!
Rich Russillo: Looks like PAKA is moving back, RUNNING BOOT- NO CEPHEUS SLIDES OUT OF THE RING, NOBODY HOME FOR PAKA! Cepheus sliding quickly back into the ring as PAKA is slowly pushing himself back from the corner, ROLLUP, CEPHEUS WITH THE ROLL-UP, DON’T DO IT!

(“Mob Ties” play up again as the crowd’s boos grow louder. Cepheus St. Claire pulls himself up using the ropes with a face of anger, yet slowly it comes to a smirk as he walks over to the top rope. He starts yelling at the fans as the Ref is tending to PAKA)
Bella Braxton: Ladies and gentlemen here is your winner, CEPHEUS ST. CLAIRE!!!!!!!!!!!
Rich Russillo: I am shocked, Cepheus with his quick wits managed to get a win over PAKA. This is not ok.
James Peters: What do you mean? It’s all about proving people wrong right Rich? And I’m sure that’s what Cepheus did tonight. Cepheus has stated that he’s not afraid of anyone on the roster and he’s going to make an impact on Season 13. This win should well be a stepping stone to that goal in mind for Cepheus St. Claire.
Rich Russillo: :wow:
James Peters: Voltage’s first match of Season 13 was back and forth, and Shortfuse PAKA and Cepheus St. Claire gave it their all. Love him or hate him, Cepheus St. Claire is a hell of a talent. It wouldn’t shock me to see him make a huge impact here on Voltage.
Rich Russillo: I won’t argue with that. Cepheus proved how talented he is back at the draft show as he nearly defeated a man who is a future world champion. Tonight, he showed off his superb intelligence in this match against PAKA. Congratulations to Cepheus.
(The camera takes a final shot of Cepheus, who’s having his hand raised. Voltage fades into a recap for Friday Night Dynasty.)
(A recap of Friday Night Dynasty plays. Highlights include the amazing match between Cage and Drake King, Serena Bennett continuing to call out the Universal Women’s Champion, Kassidy Heart, the return of Remi Skyfire and her instant classic with TLA, and the main event between World Heavyweight Champion, Impact, and National Elite Champion, Jack Ripley. Impact would emerge victorious, but Lethal Consequences would make his presence felt, and end the show by holding up the World Heavyweight Championship!)
(The Friday Night Dynasty recap fades, and Voltage returns to the backstage area. Sofia Clarke is standing by and she’s joined by the former World Heavyweight Champion, Noah Reigner.)
Sofia Clarke: Ladies and gentlemen, a few weeks ago at Pain for Pride, Impact, Rex McAllister, and my guest at this time, Noah Reigner, waged a war for the right to be called the World Heavyweight Champion. The match itself was designed with the use of the Gawd Contract, to favor the pure wrestling aspect of this sport, as well as hand to hand combat and submission holds. It was one of the most unique matches we’ve had in recent memory, and something that has never really been seen in Elite Answers Wrestling before.
(Sofia turns her full attention towards Noah.)
Sofia Clarke: Noah, you walked into your second Pain for Pride as the defending champion, with all the confidence and all the belief that you would be standing here tonight still World Heavyweight Champion. What was going through your mind as Impact had you locked in the bow-and-arrow choke?
Noah Reigner: What went through my head is a pretty simple thought. Do not give Impact the satisfaction of knowing he made you say ‘I Quit.’ There was no way in hell I was ever going to give up in that match, and I didn’t. I had to be choked out in order for another man to win the championship, and that’s a fact. Of course, what’s also a fact is that I stand here defeated. I didn’t follow through on my promise to retain the World Heavyweight Championship, and I accept full responsibility for that. There is no one who puts more pressure on me than me, and if I look for a silver lining, it’s that I proved myself out there that night. Regardless of the outcome, I showed the world that ‘The Assault Rifle’ is a premiere athlete and one of the best wrestlers in this company. I’m well trained and highly skilled, and can stand toe-to-toe with anybody in this business. I said Impact or Rex could have to basically kill me in order to take the World Heavyweight Championship from me, and that’s exactly what happened. I didn’t give in or give up, and I fought until I faded away, and then I made sure I walked backstage under my own power. I couldn’t tell you what people said to me. I assume it was the generic ‘good job’, ‘great reign’, ‘this is only the beginning’ typical bullshit you tell a person after they’ve had their heart ripped out in front of millions of people. All that garbage is honestly whatever. It wasn’t something I wanted to hear at the time, and honestly I don’t care to hear it now.
To put it in perspective, Pain for Pride XII was an experience, and it’s one that I’ll never forget.
There’s a lesson to learn in there, I’m sure. I’ve been told there’s more than winning and losing. I went to war with two of the best in the world, and I proved my resilience, my worth, and that I will be at the top of this sport for awhile. I’ve never doubted how good I am. It was always my opponents and everyone else who live in glass houses that have talked shit. They have always thrown their stones at me, expecting to shatter, or at the very least, leave a significant crack in my armor, and every time they’ve missed. I have always risen above the slander, and stayed true to who I am, and I’m going to continue to do that going forward. Pain for Pride won’t define me. I bounced back at the draft show by defeating an asshole. Now it’s time to look ahead. I’ve never been one to settle, and the motivation I have now is going to fuel me towards my goals for this season. I’m going to take what happened at Pain for Pride, use it to fuel me, and I will make my way back up the proverbial ladder. I never make the same mistake twice, and I will work harder than ever before to make sure I’m never caught in that kind of situation again.
Sofia Clarke: Speaking of the draft, you had an impressive win over the rookie, Vic Venom, quickly bouncing back after Pain for Pride. The draft shook up the rosters, but Voltage actually landed a lot of familiar faces.
(A smirk crosses Noah’s face.)
Noah Reigner: Rex McAllister and Charlie Marr. I’m not going to lie, I was pleased to see Rex on the same brand as me. One thing we never really got last season, was the one-on-one match both of us deserved to have against one another. I do have a lot of respect for Rex’s talent, and I know that at some point this season our paths will cross and we will see who the better man actually is. As far as Charlie Marr goes… it’ll be interesting to see how he fares with the new additions to the roster. I, for one, welcome everyone to Voltage and I know that there will be some incredible matches. I’m ready to face whoever crosses my path, male or female, because at the end of the day, we’re all wrestlers. All of us want to prove ourselves to be the best, and I give absolutely zero fucks about who I shoot down along the way.
Sofia Clarke: So what are you goals for Season 13, Noah? Are you looking to make it back to the Pain for Pride main event?
Noah Reigner: You don’t truly want to be in this business if you don’t want to compete in the main event of Pain for Pride. That will always be the goal. That being said, there are other things I want to accomplish as well, and one of those things is being a triple crown holder. I was a tag team wrestler long before I was a world champion, and that’s something I still have a lot of passion for. No one should be surprised if I decide to find a partner and go for the Unified Tag Team Championships, and they also shouldn’t be surprised if I decide to set my sights on the Interwire Championship at some point. I’m not going to limit myself to one title or the other, because at the end of the day, and when everything is said and done, I’m going to be known as the best to ever lace up a pair of boots. I will hold whatever title I set my sights on. I will main event multiple Pain for Prides. I will continue to push myself and not let setbacks hold me back from reaching my destination. As competitors, we learn, grow, and constantly evolve. There’s a bigger picture, and I always keep mine in the back of my mind.
Sofia Clarke (smiling): There’s also King of Elite, Grand Rampage…
Noah Reigner: Bet I plan on winning them at some point as well. This is a new season, Sofia, and I’m ready to embrace whatever comes my way. I know that I’m going to be the most watched person on this show regardless of what I’m competing for or who it’s against.
Sofia Clarke: I think it would be hard to argue against that. You’ve only been in EAW a short time and you’ve already won Cash in the Vault and a world championship; doing more in your first year than some competitors do throughout the entirety of their career.
Noah Reigner: From the second I’ve stepped foot in EAW, I’ve given it a hundred percent every week. I don’t plan on stopping any time soon. I’m going to continue racking up victories, accomplishments, championships, and awards. I’m headed for the Hall of Fame. I’m The Young Ace of EAW, Sofia. My future is bright, and I’m not going to be denied.

James Peters: Jayln Garcia showing the world he can do anything and that is walking out of this match as the victor. Earlier in the match, we saw signs of a bodily injury and Jayln Garcia fought through the pain to obtain victory in this match and that is what makes him great!
Rich Russillo: Without a doubt, Garcia entered this match as the smallest person and when we saw signs of him being injured, that gave him a very low possibility of him being successful in this match. However, as you said, he had the will and passion to overcome all the disadvantages and walk out as the winner.
(Jalyn indicates to the referee and to the crowd that he is alright and he gingerly raises his arms up to celebrate. The other men look disappointed at the outcome, but no one can deny that all four competitors did one hell of a job tonight.)

(Voltage cuts to outside of the Enterprise Center in St. Louis, Missouri. It’s a balmy summer night, and in the shadows, back towards the dumpster area, Cepheus St. Claire is seen. He’s showered and changed, having emerged victorious against Shortfuse PAKA earlier in the evening, and he’s on his cellphone. The camera picks up the conversation.)
Cepheus St. Claire: I’m still waiting to see Jesse Barlow in a pool of his own blood. When I order a hit on somebody, I expect it to be carried out!
(Cepheus pauses.)
Cepheus St. Claire: I don’t give a damn how high profile EAW is! The biggest mistake Jesse Barlow ever made was having a little bit of luck and eliminating me from the 24/7 Battle Royal. That match is not something I’m willing to let go, and since I have everyone from that match who matters on Voltage with me, you can bet that I’m going to single-handedly make all of them pay for crossing my path. It starts with Barlow. Then I’m taking out Gaines. Then, we’re going to finish this off by systematically dismantling Consuela Rose Ava. I won’t rest until these people know just who the fuck I am and what kind of power I weild. No one gets to have a happy ending as far as I’m concerned because this is all about me. I want the job done. I want Barlow taken out.
(Cepheus is unaware that his business associate, Dr. Lonnie Delmonty, has walked into the scene. He is quietly listening to Cepheus’ side of the conversation.)
Cepheus St. Claire: What do you mean, be patient? I’m not a patient man.
(Cepheus sighs and rakes his hand through his hair. He turns around, and is nearly startled to see Lonnie standing there. Cepheus glares at him, but all Lonnie does in response is smirk.)
Cepheus St. Claire: I’ll call you back, Hector.
(Cepheus disconnects the call and pockets his phone.)
Cepheus St. Claire: You really shouldn’t sneak up on people like that.
Dr. Lonnie Delmonty: I can’t believe you’re still trying to have Jesse Barlow taken out. If you do that, you could be picking a fight far bigger than one that can be settled inside of an EAW ring.
Cepheus St. Claire: Barlow has left that life behind him. They’re not going to give a damn about what happens to him. In fact…
(Lonnie raises an eyebrow.)
Dr. Lonnie Delmonty: You just got an idea…
Cepheus St. Claire: :mjgrin: Well, lets just say we might have some options when it comes to getting rid of Jesse Barlow. But for now, I’m going to wait and see if Hector comes through.
Dr. Lonnie Delmonty (slowly nodding): I’ve spoken to Hector.
(This time it’s Cepheus who raises an eyebrow.)
Cepheus St. Claire: Oh? Why didn’t you say anything?
Dr. Lonnie Delmonty: Well I didn’t expect to find you on the phone just now, popping off on Hector already for not following through. Since you insist on it, Jesse Barlow is going to be dealt with, but it’s not going to happen right away. It’s going to happen when it’ll hurt him the most, and you need to trust that fact. He’s not being let off the hook for what he did at Pain for Pride, but he deserves to walk around and know that there’s a target firmly on his back. Let him live in fear for a little while.
(Cepheus sighs, but he finally nods his head.)
Dr. Lonnie Delmonty: Now, with that out of the way, I have some news for you.
Cepheus St. Claire: It better be good news.
Dr. Lonnie Delmonty: Oh it is. I spoke with Captain Charisma before I came out here to find you. In two weeks on Voltage, he is placing you in a match against Kai Zolomon. The winner will have contendership for the New Breed Championship, and that championship match will likely happen sooner rather than later.
(Cepheus eyes flickered to life at the mention of championship gold. A sleazy smile crosses his face.)
Cepheus St. Claire: A broad currently holds that belt.
(That’s not a question and Cepheus’ voice is flat.)
Dr. Lonnie Delmonty: Felix Hartley.
Cepheus St. Claire (unimpressed): Easy pickings.
(Lonnie gives Cepheus a look.)
Dr. Lonnie Delmonty: Kai Zolomon, first. Don’t look ahead.
(But it’s clear to Lonnie that his longtime business partner is already looking ahead. The scene fades with Cepheus deep in thought, and Voltage goes to a commercial break.)
(Commercial break for 801 Chophouse at the Crescent in St. Louis, Missouri featuring Ms. Extreme and Consuela Rose Ava. The Ava sisters are seen dining at the finest steakhouse in the city. The steak, chicken, and seafood menu provides fine diners and foodies alike with plenty of options and will satisfy nearly every palette unless you’re vegetarian/vegan!)
(Voltage returns from break and transitions to the backstage area. A backstage assistant is seen walking. She pulls up on a confused young man, who is holding a piece of paper in his hands.)
Backstage Assistant: Can I help you?
Young Man: Ohmygosh, yes! My name is Daniel Chastain. I’m recently signed to EAW on a developmental contract and I was invited to check out Voltage this week, to spar with some local wrestlers, and get my physical done before reporting for work next week. Can you tell me where the trainer’s room is?
Backstage Assistant: Sure. Dr. Brett’s office is down the hallway, to the left. There haven’t been many injuries tonight so far, so he should be in there. Good luck, kid!
Daniel Chastain: Thanks!
(Having a clear direction, Daniel happily heads down the hallway and finds the trainer’s room. The only difference is the nameplate on the door doesn’t read “Dr. Winston Brett.” Instead, it says “Dr. Bethany Blue.” Daniel takes a minute to think about this, but shrugs his shoulders and walks into the door.)
(Before following Daniel inside, the camera cuts to the floor. Dr. Brett’s name plate has been thrown down the hallway.)
(Daniel walks into the room and is met by an absolutely stunning brunette, wearing a designer dress, heels, and a perfect, starch white doctor’s coat.)
Daniel Chastain: hi
(The brunette is on Daniel in a flash, a dazzling smile on her face. She grabs Daniel’s hand and shakes it enthusiastically.)
???: Hello there! I’m Dr. Bethany Blue, Voltage’s newest attending physician. How can I help you?
(Daniel is a little taken aback about the enthusiasm displayed by Dr. Blue, and he gives her a nervous look. Dr. Blue continues to shake Daniel’s hand until he pries it out of her grasp and hands her his paper.)
Daniel Chastain: I’m Daniel Chastain. I was told this is where I was supposed to get my physical. I’m due to start training at the EAW Performance Center next week but I need to be cleared in order to do so.
(Dr. Blue tosses Daniel’s paper to the ground and reaches into her pocket, grabbing a small flashlight. She aggressively grabs Daniel by the face and begins to shine the light into his eyes, twisting his neck until a little pop is heard. Daniel winces and Dr. Blue lets go of his face.)
Dr. Bethany Blue: Ooops. At least we know you don’t have a calcium deficiency. Having strong bones is extremely important when it comes to being an athlete. Open your mouth.
(Dr. Blue doesn’t wait for Daniel to comply. She grabs him by the jaw and forces his mouth open, shining the light down his throat.)
Dr. Bethany Blue: Hmmmm.
Daniel Chastain (unintelligible babble): ISH SUMFIN ARNG?
(Dr. Blue does not reply. She lets go of his face and takes the stethoscope that is around her neck and places the ends of it in her diamond studded ears. She places it on Daniel’s chest.)
Dr. Bethany Blue: Deep breaths.
(Daniel, who is clearly a little weirded out by this aggressive physical, starts to breath in and out for Dr. Blue. She pounds the stethoscope around on his chest a little bit, which Daniel finds a little strange, but finally Dr. Blue pulls back. She places it back around her neck and glances down at the groin area of Daniel. His eyes widen as Dr. Blue grabs a handful of balls and gives them a squeeze. Daniel jumps and yelps.)
Daniel Chastain: HEY!!!
Dr. Bethany Blue: Hmmm. Weak testicles.
Daniel Chastain: WHAT? Excuse me?! First of all… my testicles are not weak!
(Dr. Blue grabs Daniel, turns him around, and throws him down on the trainer’s table. Daniel goes to get up, but Dr. Blue is quick to drive her elbow into his back and keep him bent over the table.)
Dr. Bethany Blue: Drop your pants.
Daniel Chastain: Now hold on a sec-
(Dr. Blue doesn’t have time to listen to this man. She yanks his pants down and the camera catches Daniel Chastain’s full moon, before switching to just his face. Daniel looks disturbed and petrified.)
Daniel Chastain: I’m not sure this is part of a physical…
Dr. Bethany Blue (O.S.): Are you trying to tell an actual doctor what a physical consists of? Do I need to call the Performance Center and inform them that the new hire is not cooperating and that I can’t clear him because he will not allow me to do my job?
Daniel Chastain: :lupe: Well…
(The snapping of rubber gloves can be heard, followed by the sound of squirting. Dr. Blue’s face is shown, and she is smiling as she performs the next phase of the physical on poor Daniel Chastain.)
(The camera switches back to Daniel, who’s eyes all of a sudden bulge out of his head. A grimace crosses his face and tears well up in his eyes.)
Daniel Chastain: FUCK!
(The camera cuts back to Dr. Blue’s face, and she looks mighty disappointed with whatever it is she is finding.)
Dr. Bethany Blue: You most certainly need a change of diet, young man. This is just not going to cut it.
(The camera cuts back to Daniel, who has started whimpering and squirming around, and then cuts to outside the trainer’s room.)
(Jalyn Garcia, a winner earlier tonight, is gingerly making his way towards the trainer’s office, clutching his ribs. He stops just short of the door, as he hears faint crying and whimpering coming from inside. A puzzled look crosses the rookie’s face, and against his better judgment, he peers inside the door.)
Jalyn Garcia: What the fuck?
(Dr. Blue whips around, holding up her lubed up, gloved hand.)
Dr. Bethany Blue: Hi! How can I help you?
(Daniel uses the distraction to spring up, pull up his pants, shove Dr. Blue to the side, and run out of the room. Dr. Blue’s smile freezes after she regains her balance, not at all happy that her patient just ran away.)
Jalyn Garcia: You know what? I’m good.
(He turns around and quickly makes his way down the hall.)
Dr. Bethany Blue (O.S.): COME BACK! THE DOCTOR IS IN!
(Dr. Blue skids to a stop outside the trainer’s room and watches as Jalyn disappears around the corner. She purses her lips.)
Dr. Bethany Blue: Oh Jalyn Garcia. I know exactly who you are, and I can’t wait to get my hands on you. :mjgrin:
(Dr. Blue rips her gloves off and tosses them behind her as she makes her way out of the picture. The scene fades out.)
(The Woogieman is seen backstage walking, before being stopped by Sofia Clarke. Sofia Clarke has come to interview The Woogieman, and the crowd goes nuts at the Woogieman gracing them with his presence.)
Sofia Clarke: Hello Woogieman, if you don’t mind I’d like to ask you a few questions.
The Woogieman: Hello Sofia. Yes, you may ask a few questions to the Bhampion.
Sofia Clarke: So, first and foremost. Many of us has heard what you’ve had to say about the Pain for Pride steel cage match, but is there anything you have to say to these people here live?
The Woogieman: Yes. At Pain for Pride I showed everyone why I will be the BBB forever. I beat El Landerson back on Voltage last time for this. Now at Pain for Pride I beat Provençal and he didn’t even put up a good fight.
Sofia Clarke: Why do you say that? Provençal had multiple chances to win, didn’t he?
The Woogieman: He needed his stupid children to help him, and even then he couldn’t win. And that’s why I kicked that kid. Provençal has so many kids but not a single one of them will ever be able to help him beat me, the BBB-
(The crowd goes silent due to shock as Shortfuse PAKA walks into the scene, staring a hole into the Woogieman. He keeps staring at him for a few seconds, but before he can speak, Woogieman cuts him off.)
The Woogieman: What do you want? Do you want to get a beating just like Provençal did?
Shortfuse PAKA: I hope you know that’s my brother in law you’re talking about. Yes, he’s pathetic. Yes, he’s weak. Yes, he lost to you, but he’s still my brother in law, and I’m the one training him! Mark my words Woogieman, next time you face him, the outcome will he completely different! You hear me?
The Woogieman: I’m sorry Sofia, you should probably leave now.
(Sofia Clarke walks off as Woogieman and Shortfuse PAKA continues looking directly at each other.)
Shortfuse PAKA: Don’t think I forgot Woogieman. That kid you kicked, I’m that kids uncle you know! How could you do such a thing? Kicking a kid… I’m watching you, and I’m gonna make sure that doesn’t happen again!
The Woogieman: Whatever. I do not care about your threats and I am not scared. In fact, I should not even talk to losers such as yourself. You did just lose to Cepheus St. Claire, didn’t you? You’re just a loser, and your family is full of loser-
(Shortfuse PAKA can’t stand to hear anymore, and immediately hits a hard hitting palm strike that drops Woogieman right to the floor. He looks down at Woogie before then walking off.)
(The camera cuts to the broadcast booth where James and Rich are shook over what transpired between Woogie and Shortfuse PAKA.)
James Peters: Wow. PAKA just effortlessly laid out the Big Boogie Bhampion.
Rich Russillo: Well, he did push PAKA a bit too far. Woogie must have known something like that would happen. Surely this isn’t the end of these two though.
James Peters: I know not. A match between The Woogieman and Shortfuse PAKA would be nothing short of a Match of the Year Candidate.
Rich Russillo: :wow: Every match match Woogie competes in is a Match of the Year. Woogieman inside that ring shits all over Theron Nikolas versus Darkane versus Jamie O’Hara versus Mr. DEDEDE.

James Peters: Tyler Wolfe has finally accomplished what she sought out to do for what seems like months now. She ripped the thorn on her shoulder straight out which was Kendra Shamez, and is now finally free from the shackles of Empire. Now she’s on her new home, Voltage.
Rich Russillo: With her die-hard attitude, I’m sure Tyler will have no problem fitting in on this roster with new competition and opportunities to come with it. That could be put to the test tonight as she faces a quickly rising up-starter in the form of Korey Gaines.
(Tyler Wolfe enters the ring and raises one arm in the air as she looks around the sea of people. “I Smell A Massacre” fades off. “Thunderstruck” by ACDC plays to loud cheers to somewhat the same volume as a few minutes ago as Korey Gaines comes out. He smiles at the crowd as he walks down to the ring happily.)
Bella Braxton: And her opponent, from Oklahoma City Oklahoma, weighing in at 170 pounds…THE UNDERDOG DAREDEVIL, KOREY…GAINES.
James Peters: New season, new competition, same Korey Gaines. Win or lose this man is always optimistic and I’m sure the Underdog Daredevil will surely be a breakout star in Season 13.
Rich Russillo: I mean do you think he bit off more than he could chew? He’s facing the Walking Weapon Tyler Wolfe, someone who’s capable of ripping your arm off. I’m sure Gaines isn’t scared coming into this match, but I think Tyler will give him a reason to be scared. But I won’t count him out in this match. He’s beaten the unexpected and maybe it’ll be the same tonight.
(Korey Gaines enters the ring and immediately jumps up to the top rope and hypes up the crowd before jumping down quickly as “Thunderstruck” fades off.)

James Peters: Here we go!
Rich Russillo: Tyler and Korey are slowly circling each other right now. Korey stopping, he’s holding out his hand? What?
James Peters: I understand he’s trying to be respectful and all but is this really the best idea?
Rich Russillo: Tyler Wolfe slapping his hand away now, Korey responding with a nod as they start circling around again. They lock up, Gaines pushing Tyler to the ropes as she rebounds off it into a run to the other, Gaines sliding under Tyler, over, WOLFE WITH A SHOULDER BLOCK BRINGING GAINES DOWN!
James Peters: Gaines getting up as Wolfe starts to slowly move around again, locking up again. Gaines trying to move around to get into a waist lock but Tyler is moving around to the pace too not allowing Korey to go around. Tyler quickly locking Korey into a wrist lock, Korey rolling down and back up trying to get out… Korey going under into a wrist lock of his own. Gaines trying to keep Tyler in place but Tyler is going at a rapid speed. Tyler attempting to go around but wherever she goes Gaines follows. (As soon as Tyler hits the ground, she lets out a cry of pain. ‘The Walking Weapon’ immediately rolls out of the ring and drops to the ground, clutching at her left ankle. It’s bent at an absolute horrific angle and as the camera zooms in, the crowd inside the Enterprise Center let out a gasp.)
Rich Russillo: Shit…
(The referee is down on the ground and he is checking on Tyler. He has no choice but to throw up the “X” sign, and Noah Reigner has come down to the ring as well. Korey Gaines has come to his senses, and he sees what’s happened. A look of concern and sympathy crosses his face.)
James Peters: Ladies and gentlemen, it appears that Tyler Wolfe has suffered a pretty nasty looking ankle injury. She was going for a double foot stomp from the top rope, and when Korey Gaines rolled out of the way, she landed awkwardly and immediately collapsed to the ground.
(It’s clear that the injury Tyler has suffered is serious. Noah scoops Tyler up in his arms, as she buries her face in his chest. They begin to make their way to the back, while the crowd just sits there in a stunned silence at what they just saw.)

Sofia Clarke: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome my guest at this time, the EAW Interwire Champion… Terry Chambers!
(Terry walks into the scene dressed in street clothes with the Interwire Championship draped across his shoulder. ‘The Barbaric Carnivore’ looks down on the title and smirks, before giving Sofia his full attention.)
Sofia Clarke: Terry, you achieved a goal of yours a few weeks ago at Pain for Pride when you finally captured your first championship here in EAW. How does it feel to finally have the gold in your hands? You’re now known as Terry Chambers, the Elite Answers Wrestling Interwire Champion. That accomplishment is going to go down in the record books and no one is ever going to be able to take that away from you. You have to be feeling some kind of way.
(Terry just shakes his head, because even though a couple of weeks have passed, it’s still surreal to him. After all the struggles – the ups, the downs, and everything in between – he finally reached the one thing he had been chasing, an EAW championship.)
Terry Chambers: Honestly? I’m not used to this feeling at all. I’ve come up short so many times, and have had to force myself to keep my head up and attack my next match with the same energy as I did the previous one, and sometimes that was hard, Sofia. It’s hard to keep going when nothing seems to be working, and there’s outside factors getting in the way. And at times, I’ll admit, I was my own worst enemy. But, when I stepped into that ring at Pain for Pride, it just felt different. It was kind of a do or die situation. I didn’t want to fall short again, and I didn’t want to start all over again. Drake King and his lackeys made my life a living hell for months, even going as far as almost ending my career. Those goons left me for dead, and I found myself wondering if I was going to be able to wrestle again. That alone was enough to motivate me more than anything else I’ve ever experienced. I dug deep and I found something inside myself that I thought I had lost a long time ago. Winning this championship meant the world to me and so did wiping the arrogance off Drake King’s face. I’m going to undo the damage he did to this built with his shitty title reign. With the easy part behind me, I can look ahead, and I look forward to defending this championship. This title always deserved better than Drake King holding it and I stated time and time again that he wouldn’t be able to get the job done on his own when it mattered. Now that the Interwire Championship is in my possession, I’m going to make sure I return this title to its former glory.
Sofia Clarke: There is a ton of new competition for you here on Voltage, Terry. Upcomers that are new to EAW, established names you haven’t faced before, and some familiar faces. Are you happy to be competing on Sunday nights now?
Terry Chambers: Absolutely. I will always appreciate Showdown, and my time there, especially this past season. It was a career resurgence for me in a lot of ways, and it culminated in the most satisfying way. When I look at the men and women who make up Voltage, the possibilities are endless. I could sit here and give you a list of people that I want to face, but I’m fine with just seeing how it all plays out because I think everyone knows I’ll fight anyone who wants to get inside the ring with me. I’ve already been informed that I’m going to be defending my championship at Bloodsport, and that next week, my opponent for the match is going to be announced. Whoever it is, will be in for the fight of their lives. I’ve worked for years to reach this point, and I’m not about to let go of this belt now. I had been hoping to get my title reign started off on the right foot last week at The Draft Show, but unfortunately I came up short in the Clash of Champions match.
Sofia Clarke: Andrea Valentine defeated you.
Terry Chambers: Andrea Valentine stole a victory from Felix Hartley.
(Sofia raises an eyebrow.)
Terry Chambers: There’s a little bit of history between Andrea and myself, it dates back to last summer. Twice she’s gotten the better of me, and that burns me up. I don’t enjoy losing to the same person twice, and I’ll be honest with you, Sofia. I was pretty happy to see that both of us were drafted to the same brand. My path and Andrea’s path are bound to intersect at some point this season, and when it does, the so-called ‘Heart of EAW’ is going to find herself on the receiving end of a T-5. I will not lose to Andrea Valentine for a third time.
Sofia Clarke: :wow: Lets go back to Bloodsport for just a second. Since you just revealed that the Interwire Championship will be defended, do you know what kind of match it will be contested in? Veena Adams told the EAW Universe earlier tonight that every match will be No Disqualification at the very least.
(Terry shrugs his shoulders.)
Terry Chambers: You know as much as I do, Sofia, but honestly the match type doesn’t matter to me. I’ve competed in so many hardcore matches throughout my career that stuff like stipulations and whatnot don’t phase me. I love to fight and I love beating the hell out of people, so taking away the rules? That works for me. Whatever man… or woman ends up facing me at Bloodsport is going to be on the receiving end of a beatdown. I’ve finally gotten my hands on championship gold here in EAW, and I’m not letting it go. (We reopen in another backstage area. The newly engaged couple of Fire And Ice are standing by the ring entrance area. Rex McAllister’s match with Hades the Hellraiser is next, and Raven Roberts has her arms wrapped around the waist of her fiancé. Rex looks at Raven and gives her a smile, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear.)
Rex McAllister: The climb back to the top starts now.
Raven Roberts: Just remember, you never lost at Pain for Pride. Noah did.
(A little smirk crosses Rex’s face as he takes Raven’s left hand and glances at her engagement ring.)
Rex McAllister: I definitely didn’t lose. *Rex gives Raven’s hand a squeeze.* But I know where you’re going with that. You know me better than anyone, Rave. I’m guilty of replaying the end of the match in my head. If only I had broken up that choke, perhaps I could have been the one to capitalize on Noah’s misfortunes. However, you also know I’m resilient. My quest to become a three-time World Heavyweight Champion is far from over. Whether it’s Malcolm Jones or Charlie Marr after Bloodsport, I’m ready to go for the EAW Championship.
Raven Roberts: You don’t possibly think Charlie Marr is capable of dethroning Malcolm Jones do you?
Rex McAllister: I know Charlie pretty well. I believe he’ll stop at nothing to get what he wants, and in a match like the one Veena has set up, there’s a damn good chance he might actually get it. I’m not doubting MJ at all, but Charlie Marr is a desperate, disgusting man. People like that have no boundaries.
(Raven nods her head and flashes Rex a teasing smile.)
Raven Roberts: Maybe I’ll cash in and play the role of spoiler.
(Rex turns serious for a second, which causes Raven’s smile to fade just a little bit.)
Rex McAllister: I know our opponents are going to hammer this point to death this season. They’re going to constantly question whether or not you’ll cash in on me when/if I become EAW Champion. I know we’ve talked about it a little bit, but I want to tell you this. Whatever you decide to do with your briefcase is entirely up to you. It’s something you worked your ass off to earn, and when you ultimately decide what world championship you want, and you see the right moment for you to get it, take it. It doesn’t matter who’s involved, or what the stakes are, or anything else. Business is business, Raven, and I mean that. Whatever happens will have no bearing on our personal relationship because you are it for me. It’s your competitive drive and sheer will to win that drew me to you in the first place, and I know that if I’m the one standing in the way of your championship dreams, your actions aren’t going to be out of malice. They’re going to be driven by the fact that’s the best possible option for you. Go for what you want, Raven. You deserve it.
(Raven is speechless at first, but she finally wraps her arms around Rex’s neck and hugs him tightly. His arms tightened around her back and he buries his face in her silky hair.)
Raven Roberts: I love you. That means more to me than you will ever know, Rex.
(In the background, the crowd can be heard cheering because Rex’s theme music has started to play. A production assistant approaches the couple.)
Production Assistant: Rex, you’re up.
(Rex and Raven break apart, sharing a quick kiss. Raven squeezes Rex’s hand before letting him go.)
Raven Roberts: Good luck, babe.
Rex McAllister: See you soon.
(Rex flashes her a smirk and pushes his way through the guerilla curtains.)
(“Alive” By P.O.D blast through the speakers of the Enterprise Center as Rex approaches the stage to a BIG reaction. He has the same competitive game face on as always as he continues on down the ramp.)

James Peters: Coming off that CLASSIC triple threat match for the World Heavyweight Championship at Pain for Pride, coming up short is something I know we won’t see from Rex, a determined competitor that we got right here on Voltage.
Rich Russillo: This is why you are wrong, again. This is the second straight Pain for Pride that he’s been beaten, James. He’s good 364 days out of the year but Pain For Pride comes and he’s no longer in that winners circle.
James Peters: This is the same man who after losing at Pain For Pride, won the World Heavyweight Championship a couple months later, don’t sleep.

(“Hellraiser” By Motorhead begins to play around the Enterprise Center as the crowd gives a mixed reaction. Hades rides out in his custom Harley Davidson motorcycle, stopping on top of the stage, looking around the arena before driving his way down the ramp circling the ring as Rex begins preparing himself in the corner.)

Rich Russillo: This is a big match. A future Hall of Fame inductee in Rex taking on Hades right here on Voltage!
James Peters: Hades is always looking to fight, styles create matches but I don’t know, Rex hasn’t taken his eyes off Hades since that horrible song started playing!

James Peters: This match is underway! Hades already in his fighting stance as Rex looks a bit caught off guard as Hades comes forward and Rex using his speed, no question there’s a weight and height difference between these two! Rex having to play the cat and mouse game as Hades is stalking him and backing him into a corner, HADES SWINGS! Rex ducks as Hades ends up in the corner and Rex DELIVERS A HUGE KNIFE EDGE CHOP TO THE CHEST OF HADES! Hades immediately burying his knee into the mid-section of Rex! And he side steps and throws Rex into the corner, Hades going off! BUSTING UP THE BODY OF REX WITH THESE BODY SHOTS!!! HADES GIVING SHOTS TO THE BODY! AND CAPS IT OFF WITH A BIG UPPERCUT!

James Peters: ANDDD That’s all she wrote on that! Rex picking up a much needed victory here on Voltage! And it was a tall task standing in front of him, but he chopped that big man down to size and picked up an impressive victory!
Rich Rusillo: Hades came out aggressive, he came out looking to hit hard and quick and it had a moment where it worked out for him but Rex in the end manages to pull off the win on the first Voltage in season thirteen! I’m so excited I can barely contain myself, I’m like you James, except we don’t compare, I’m much better at commentary than you.
James Peters: Funny. Ha. Funny Ha.
(Rex continues to celebrate his decisive victory over Hades as Voltage fades to commercial break.)
(Commercial break for McDonald’s featuring The Wildcards. Myles is shown enjoying a salad and bottled water, while Xander Payne chows down on one of the around the world favorites, the cheesy bacon fries from Australia. McDonald’s… The Wildcards are luvin’ it!)
(Voltage returns and we see “Captain Charisma” Matt Daniels walking down the hallway. It appears he has fully recovered from the groin injury he suffered at Fighting Spirit thanks to Lethal Consequences, and the golden god Co-Commissioner of Voltage looks the happiest he’s been in months. The happiness probably has a lot to do with the fact Veena is going on vacation, and has been neutralized. Even if that happens to be temporary, Matt is celebrating his victory. He’s whistling as he rounds the corner and a smile breaks out on his face.)
Matt Daniels: Just the man I was looking for!
(The camera cuts to a shot of Voltage newcomer, Kai Zolomon. Despite coming up short in a match featuring Jalyn Garcia, Paul Joshua, and Bowen Castillo, Kai had looked great out there. ‘The Kill Switch’ gives Matt a weary look.)
Kai Zolomon: You were?
(Matt nods his head.)
Matt Daniels: Absolutely. I know you came up short against Jalyn, Paul, and Bowen tonight, Kai, but I was impressed with what I saw out there. You displayed a lot of talent in the 24/7 Battle Royal when you took out Hades, and you were great out there in the ring for your Voltage debut.
Kai Zolomon: … Thanks.
(Kai is not completely trusting of the situation, but when Matt extends his hand, Kai gives it a shake.)
Matt Daniels: Because of your effort, in two weeks on Voltage I’m giving you an opportunity to face off against Cepheus St. Claire. The winner of that match will earn Voltage’s first crack at the New Breed Championship. There’s no doubt in my mind that you won’t make the most of the opportunity, and I wish you good luck. Voltage has an incredible group of new talent this season, and a lot of you guys have the ability to go on and become household names. I believe you’re one of those people.
(Kai just nods his head. He’s still not entirely sure how to react to this unexpected situation.)
Matt Daniels: I hope that you stick with us, and trust the process, because I’m going to reiterate this to you. You have a lot of talent and a ton of potential. Keep that energy you brought to Pain for Pride and to Voltage this week, and you’re going to be just fine. You can’t win them all, but the hard work and effort will pay off in the end. I’m a firm believer in that.
Kai Zolomon: Alright. Well, I appreciate that.
(Matt nods his head and takes his leave, leaving Kai alone. The EAW newcomer gives the back of Matt’s head a strange look, before he shakes his head.)

(Kai pushes off the wall he had been leaning against and makes his way out of the scene as it fades to black.)
(Voltage cuts to the ringside area where Bella is standing in the middle of the ring.)
Bella Braxton: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome one of the newest members of the Voltage roster… JESSE BARLOW!!!
(“The Hounds of Anubis” by The Word Alive hits the PA system, and the crowd greets the rookie and former mobster with a chorus of jeers.)
Rich Russillo: Honestly, when I heard that Jesse Barlow was coming to Voltage, I was instantly intrigued. This man has a story and a past, and I’m curious to learn more about him. That being said, he’s not exactly endeared himself to the EAW Universe, James.
James Peters: You’ve got that right. Barlow was one of the most outspoken competitors during Pain for Pride week, and some of his comments definitely rubbed people the wrong way.
Rich Russillo: None more than Consuela Rose Ava.
James Peters: A lot of rivalries were born during the 24/7 Battle Royal and the one between Jesse and Consuela might be one of the biggest.
Rich Russillo: It certainly got a little personal.
(Jesse slips into the ring and takes the microphone from Bella. He waits for his music to fade before he begins to speak.)
Jesse Barlow: I feel this negative energy as soon as I enter the arena. All these boos cascading down upon me and why? For a former life that I’m trying to leave behind? You all see me as this criminal and that’s what I will always be, not able to become anything more. Are we not all human? Do we not all make mistakes?
Jesse Barlow: All of you want to judge me and point to my mistakes as something to be ashamed of so you don’t have to come to terms with your own deficiencies. How many of you are without sin? How many here have cheated on your spouse? How many of you have lied to get ahead? How many of you have made someone else feel like a piece of shit just so you could sleep better at night?
Jesse Barlow: None of you can judge my past and none of you are better than me. If you had the same life I was thrown into, you would’ve done the same thing because you wouldn’t even have a choice. But how many among you can say that you would leave that life and become something different even with the fear of the unknown? Not one. I have transcended into a new being entirely out of the goodness of my heart. I have made myself into something more and I can safely say I know better than the rest of you when it comes to what is right and wrong. You’re in the wrong for judging a past I try to leave behind, and yet hypocritically you all slap your little meat paws together and applaud the fact Consuela Rose Ava threw me over the top rope to win the 24/7 Battle Royal.
(The crowd erupts in cheers at that, much to Jesse’s annoyance.)
Jesse Barlow: You are programmed to believe a false fact because you are simpletons that will believe anything they are told. This is how society has become the way it is, this is how the government has been able to take control over everything the way they have, and created this world of hate that we live in. Any narrative people in power want to push to the masses like you, you will believe. Does Consuela deserve to be the 24/7 Battle Royal contract holder right now?
Crowd: YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! YES!
(Jesse sneers at the crowd.)
Jesse Barlow: In my humble opinion.. no. Consuela took advantage of my misfortune. Consuela wants to make you believe that she struggled to get to where she is, but if you hear her story, she’s the most over privileged human in the world. She believes working a 9-5 job and trying to make it in wrestling is struggling, and that she deserves to be here, when clearly she wasn’t even ready to be here to begin with. When she got to EAW, Consuela faced a lot of difficulties, getting frustrated due to the shadow that was cast upon her by her sister, Cameron. She should’ve just been grateful to have a job in the first place. She made her way into EAW because of the name ‘Ava’ and nothing more, and that was proven by some of the results she had. Meanwhile, if we are talking about real adversity and real struggle, I’m someone who’s actually dealt with that. I am an actual beacon of light for human beings to know that you can come from the lowest of lows and achieve success.
(Jesse looks directly into the camera now.)
Jesse Barlow: Consuela, you ruined the hopes of many by politicking your way into a match you had no business being a part of and taking the easy way out. I have actually earned my way to where I am due to hard work, not a name. It gets so frustrating to see you stuff your face at catering each and every week only to be handed yet another opportunity. It isn’t normal to go from nothing, to Specialists champion, to nothing, to Specialists champion, to nothing, to Specialists Champion, to nothing, to the 24/7 Battle Royal winner. This pattern that you exhibit is just that and it’s a pattern that will continue to exist. The reason this pattern exists is because you allow it. I don’t know if it’s because you’re lazy, or because you just don’t care because you know your name will always get you by, but we know whatever success you obtain will be short lived as you don’t actually appreciate what you get, and why would you? You get chance after chance regardless of your piss poor results. I know you say you’ve struggled and been sad about things but you don’t really help your case when you do nothing to make it better and then all of a sudden it just gets better. Going from catering to random shot at titles isn’t a regular thing for regular, hard-working wrestlers. It’s an Ava thing and it’s disgusting.
(Jesse’s voice is full of disgust.)
Jesse Barlow: Within the past year you’ve had chance after chance, further pushing your agenda not caring who you destroy in the process. You destroyed the career of Clara Lovelace due to your inept blindness and ego. Two chances at the Empire Tag Team Championships, one in the form of number one contendership, and one in an actual tag team title bout and you lost. You shifted the blame to the rookie, accepting no responsibility for her lack of growth and no responsibility for her career ending injury. You felt no remorse because you felt like ‘she wasn’t good enough to make it anyway.’
Jesse Barlow: You threw away human decency and consciousness due to her being ‘not good enough’, but when she was given to you, she became your responsibility. You were supposed to make her ‘good enough’. You were perfectly willing to take her on when you thought you could use her for your own personal benefit but when it didn’t work out the way you wanted, you tossed her aside like your own personal plaything. Why? Because you are an entitled piece of shit that has been given everything and when things get hard, you quit. You went on vacation when Clara needed you most, and she got injured because of it.
Jesse Barlow: Consuela, if you really knew what it meant to struggle, you wouldn’t be this massive piece of shit that you are. The only adversity you will ever face in this sport is the fact Cameron will always overshadow you. You’re not her and that’s why you think you’ve had it hard in this sport.You try and act like you’re proud of Cameron, but it eats you up inside. She will always be looked at as the golden child, no matter what you do, and that destroys you. That’s why you hide in catering, and why you slip into depression, and why you ultimately decided to run away. You just want everyone to feel bad for you, despite the fact you get everything you want, and you paint yourself as the black sheep of the Ava family. It’s honestly pathetic. But you know something, CUNTsuela, it’ll be over soon, especially now that we’re both on Voltage.
(“We Appreciate Power” by Grimes hits, and the crowd erupts. The smile that had spread across Jesse’s face earlier tightens just as a bit as Consuela Rose Ava makes her way onto the stage. ‘The Perfectionist’ is dressed in her gear because her match with Raven Roberts is scheduled next, and she’s carrying a microphone. She also looks annoyed AF.)
Consuela Rose Ava: Basura. I could have interrupted your little speech at anytime but honestly, I was curious to see how long you’d drone on and on about stuff that makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. You are repeating the same garbage you spoke during Pain for Pride week and it did nothing but get you eliminated from the 24/7 Battle Royal. I couldn’t give a damn about your thoughts and feelings towards me personally, because all you’re doing is beating a dead horse with a stick. You’re also repeating the same crap everyone in this company has said about me, and it’s really getting old. I get some people lack originality but that doesn’t make it anymore tedious to have to listen too. This is a new season and you’re a rookie, and what you should be focusing on is moving on from the 24/7 Battle Royal, and proving yourself to Captain Charisma. The world doesn’t begin and end with the 24/7 contract, you know, although I’m glad it pisses you off so much that I have it. After listening to you for the last ten minutes, I know that this contract is definitely in the right hands.
(Consuela grins as the crowd pops. They definitely agree with her.)
Consuela Rose Ava: I wanted nothing more than to compete at Pain for Pride, and I’m glad I decided to enter the match. So many people look down on the 24/7 Battle Royal, but that match was competitive. Your ego might be outrageous but even you have to admit that match was grueling. I wasn’t shocked when it came down to you and me, and dumping you over the top rope was more than satisfying. People are going to discredit my victory because of the caliber of the competition in the match, but I certainly kept undeserving people like yourself and Cepheus St. Claire from winning, and that means the world to me. You don’t know my story, Jesse, and there’s so much more than doesn’t make it onto TV. I have no regrets about taking time off earlier this year because that’s what was best for me. I didn’t run away. I took a step back and cleared my head, and found my passion for this sport was greater than even I realized. I busted my ass to make it back, won the Specialists Championship, and upon my defeat, I refused to slip back into old habits. I made sure I got myself another chance, and now that I’m on Voltage, I’m going to put forth my best effort every week to show the world that I am the most deserving person when it comes to this contract and the power it holds. I’m not going to rest on my laurels and waste it like some people have in the past. I’m going to take on every challenge this season and shine without hesitation because that’s what Consuela Rose Ava is meant to do.
(Jesse raises the microphone and starts speaking, but he can’t be heard. He looks annoyed and Consuela giggles.)
Consuela Rose Ava: I did everyone in this building a favor and had your microphone cut before I came out here because you have done more than enough talking tonight. The only thing you need to do right now is get the hell out of the ring because I have a show to steal with Raven Roberts. Some of us actually prefer wrestling as opposed to talking, but you can’t relate can you? You long-winded, boring ass bitch.
Crowd: CON-SUE-LA! CON-SUE-LA! CON-SUE-LA! CON-SUE-LA! CON-SUE-LA! CON-SUE-LA!
(Consuela lowers her microphone and starts walking towards the ring for her match with Raven. A referee jogs out and hits the ring, and once Consuela gets inside, she steps right up to Jesse, who has not budged. The referee steps in between them and orders Jesse out of the ring. He eventually obliges and drops down to the floor after a tense exchange between the two, but he doesn’t leave the ring area.)
Rich Russillo: I guess Jesse is going to stay and watch this match, James. Consuela is going to have to keep her eyes on him.
James Peters: I definitely don’t trust this man. He’s up to no good and has no business staying at ringside for this match.
(“Mark My Words” by Doll Skin begins to play and the crowd erupts for Raven Roberts.)
(Bella, who now has the working microphone thanks to Consuela, steps forward.)
Bella Braxton: THE FOLLOWING CONTEST IS SCHEDULED FOR ONE FALL! ALREADY IN THE RING, FROM FRIAS, SPAIN… SHE IS THE 24/7 BATTLE ROYAL CONTRACT HOLDER… CONSUELA ROSE AVA!!!
(Consuela smiles and waves at the crowd.)
Bella Braxton: AND MAKING HER WAY TO THE RING RIGHT NOW, RESIDING IN LAS VEGAS, NEVADA, SHE IS THE CASH IN THE VAULT HOLDER… RAVEN ROBERTS!!!
(Raven pats her briefcase and begins to make her way to the ring.)
Rich Russillo: I’m excited for this match! Both of these women were huge gains for Voltage, and the prizes they hold speak for themselves. There’s no doubt in my mind that both of these women are going to hold championship gold this season because they’re going to make the most of their respective opportunities!
James Peters: Raven is all but guaranteed to be a world champion at some point, and it’s been a long time coming for ‘The Bird of Prey.’ Twice, she’s come up short when a world championship has been on the line, but now she has the right to cash in when the situation is right for her. It’s way too early to speculate on what either of these women will do with their contracts, but it’s going to be exciting.
Rich Russillo: And every single champion in this company has to be on alert.
(Raven gets into the ring and poses with her briefcase, before passing it off and shedding her outer attire. Ms. Cash in the Vault offers her hand to Ms. 24/7 and both women shake hands out of respect for one another.)
Rich Russillo: :skip: Sportsmanship. What a concept here on Voltage.

James Peters: Ms. Cash in the Vault and Ms. 24/7 waste no time in locking up and jostling back and forth for positioning! Raven has the size and strength advantage in this match and she is able to force Consuela back into the corner! On the outside, Jesse Barlow remains, and that’s not something I really trust. This dude seems real bitter.
Rich Russillo: I mean, he wanted to win the 24/7 and failed. Of course he’s bitter. Also, low key. I think this dude might hate women.
James Peters: I’m pretty sure the majority of the male wrestlers in this place hate women.
Rich Russillo: True.
James Peters: Raven with Consuela in the corner, and we know Raven loves to strike! She is unleashing those lethal, Muay thai style kicks right now! They are connecting with Consuela’s legs and thighs, but Consuela is finally able to get her hands up and shove Raven back! The distance between the two women allows Consuela to come firing back with rights and lefts, and she drives her knee into Raven’s stomach. Consuela takes advantage of a stunned Raven and spikes her into the mat with a DDT. Consuela with the first cover of the match!

James Peters: Raven immediately grabs her shoulder and rolls out of the ring, taking a moment to try and shake it off. Consuela backs up… AND SHE FLIES!!! TOPE CONSUELA HILO!!!!

(The camera cuts to Jesse, who seems pretty amused that Consuela wiped out.)
James Peters: Raven grabs Consuela and slams her face off the hardest part of the ring! Raven is wailing away on Consuela now and she grabs her, and attempts to whip ‘The Perfectionist’ into the barricades! Consuela is able to plant her feet and block, and she fires off a series of punches that connect with Raven’s face and head! Raven kicks Consuela back and nails her with an uppercut! That stuns Consuela, but she remains on her feet!!! SPINNING HEEL KICK FROM RAVEN! ‘THE FACELIFT’ CONNECTS!!!!

Raven is dealing with the punishment right now, and it’s clear this isn’t going to be how the match ends. Consuela pulls back further and lets go, and that causes Raven’s face to slam into the mat! Consuela begins punching Raven in the back of the head before standing up, and stomping on Raven’s lower back! Consuela is a very smart wrestler. She’s definitely more of a tactician in that ring, as opposed to a brawler, and she knows how to pick apart a specific area of the human body. Consuela pulls Raven towards the ropes and drapes her across the middle one before backing up!

James Peters: I gotta say, I love these two women being on Voltage. They are some of the best pure wrestlers in this company and both have proven themselves in extreme situations as well. Consuela and Raven are so tough, and both are so determined to make a statement here tonight. No one wants to start the new season off with a loss, and both Raven and Consuela are going to do whatever it takes tonight to win this match.
Rich Russillo: Raven has pulled Consuela up to a vertical base and she sends her into the ropes. Consuela is able to duck a clothesline on the rebound, and Raven whips around. She ducks a big boot from Consuela, and Consuela puts the brakes on to stop her momentum. Raven wraps Consuela up from behind, looking to take her down with a neckbreaker, but Consuela is able to grab Raven by the wrist, reverse the hold, and grab Raven in a side headlock! Consuela wrenches the neck of Raven and drops down to a knee to apply even more pressure! Raven grabs at Consuela’s forearms, but she opts to elbow her way out of the hold instead. Consuela is forced to loosen her grip and that allows Raven to lock the waist and wrestle Consuela down to the mat! The two women exchange chain wrestling holds, until finally Raven is able to gain the advantage and control Consuela on the mat! She has Consuela in a sleeperhold, while Ms. 24/7 remains in a sitting position.
James Peters: However, Consuela is getting her feet underneath her and she is forcing both of them back up. She fights her way out of the sleeper, runs the ropes, and takes Raven down with a shoulder block! Consuela with a leg drop down across Raven’s throat and she is quick to grab the leg and go for a cover!

James Peters: Consuela grabs Raven and she tosses her into the corner! Consuela runs forward and she connects with a running knee! Raven slumps to the ground and Consuela begins unloading! Raven eats knee after knee to the face! Consuela finally jerks Raven up by the hair and keeps her pressed into that corner! Consuela with an absolutely brutal chop to Raven’s chest! Raven responds by driving her knee into Consuela’s gut and reversing their positions!
Rich Russillo: Raven jumps and connects with a knee of her own to Consuela’s face! Now Raven is stomping away on Consuela! Ms. Cash in the Vault stomps Consuela down into a sitting position and now it’s Raven who is unloading knee strike after knee strike to Consuela! Both of these women are going back and forth tonight, and I love this! I love this so much! Raven slams her knee into Consuela’s face one last time before pulling her up and attempting to whip her across the ring!
James Peters: But Consuela blocks that! Consuela with a right hand to Raven! Raven fires back with a right of her own! Both women are exchanging punches and it’s Consuela who gets the better of the exchange! She forces Raven back into the corner, and starts climbing the ropes!

(Raven’s theme begins to play across the PA system, but when the referee goes to raise her hand, Raven jerks it away.)
Rich Russillo: Raven Roberts isn’t about to celebrate a win right now. She’s actually back down on the mat and checking on Consuela.
James Peters: That’s such a shitty way for this match to end, but I can’t really be mad about Raven going for the victory. At the end of the day, this is a competition and Raven did what she had to do.
(Consuela is sitting up and Raven is down on the mat, explaining to her opponent what happened. Consuela is holding her forehead as she looks into the crowd, and when her eyes clash with Jesse’s, a dark look crosses her face.)
(Raven helps Consuela up and pats her on the shoulder, before exiting the ring.)
(The video tron is showing a replay of what happened in the closing seconds of the match, and Raven grows even more annoyed that her briefcase was used as a weapon. She grabs it and shakes her head, and begins making her way back up the ramp.)
(Meanwhile, Consuela continues to stare a hole in Jesse, who shows absolutely no remorse for his actions.)
Rich Russillo: This thing between Consuela Rose Ava and Jesse Barlow is far from over, James.
James Peters: And if I were Jesse Barlow, I would get the hell out of dodge. Hell hath no fury like a scorned Ava sister, and Consuela is going to be out for blood now.
Rich Russillo: Consuela has worked her ass off to get herself back on track, and right the course of her career. Jesse Barlow might have bitten off more than he can chew this time.
(The camera grabs a final shot of the staredown between Consuela Rose Ava and Jesse Barlow before fading to commercial break.)

(The camera cuts backstage and we’re met by an unknown woman timidly walking through the hallway leading towards Voltage’s Co-Commissioner’s Matt Daniels’ office. She has her head down, trying to avoid eye contact with those looking at her before softly knocking on the door.)
Matt Daniels: The door’s open.
(The unknown woman opens the door and is met by CC who wears a warm smile on his face. She closes the door behind her and takes a seat opposite to Daniels.)
Matt Daniels: I’m glad that you were willing to come to Voltage, Mia.
Mia: He didn’t want me around this, but I’m willing to do anything in order to help him.
(The emotion in her voice was evident as CC slightly drops his head and takes a deep breath.)
Matt Daniels: That’s what I want to do, but this may be a case of Theron being willing to help himself. But, you may be the key to getting through to the person that Theron used to be. The man that this company once had so much hope in.
Mia Nikolas: I would like to think that this company always had hope in Theron.
Matt Daniels: Some did, or should I say, do… but with his actions over the last eighteen months definitely hasn’t put the man in the best position of those who matter the most in this company. There have been multiple meetings about him over the last two weeks. Now that he isn’t the Answers World Champion, he’s lost his leverage and some are calling for the punishment they see fitting for his actions. He’s cost this company people they seen as valuable talent; those they believed were names they could invest towards a greater future.
Mia Nikolas: But…
(CC shakes his head as Mia tilts her head back in disappointment.)
Matt Daniels: They’re still yet to reach their decision on what they want to do with Theron. The only thing that I did manage to convince them to do was to allow me to draft him to Voltage where I would be able to keep a close eye on him, rather than forcing him to sit at home and continue to stew over the evident hatred he has had for this company and business. I told them that I was willing to take full responsibility for anything he does.
Mia Nikolas: But, why?
Matt Daniels: Because I refuse to watch a man with the talent that Theron has piss away his career before he has the opportunity to cement his name down as one of the greatest that the world has ever seen. I’ve watched countless names wallow away into nothingness; those who hated this business – those who wanted to destroy this business. But, all they really managed to do was destroy themselves. They became men and women that were left with absolutely nothing. The potential to conquer the world, only to let the world conquer them. There’s not a lot of people that will give credit for what Theron accomplished as the Answers World Champion. A man who holds the record as the longest reigning Answers World Champion in company history, but I believe even in Theron’s eyes – it’s tainted. His actions as champion – that was never the champion that Theron wanted to be, but the fear of losing the championship and the need to be champion was far greater than Theron’s need to be the champion that he wanted to be. But, something that I believe and I don’t think Theron is willing to admit – losing that Answers World Championship at Pain for Pride was the best thing that could have happened to him.
(Mia remained silent, but you could almost see the gears in her head turning as she thought about everything.)
Matt Daniels: Theron wanted fulfillment as champion. Theron believed that being champion would bring the respect and adulation that he always wanted, but in the end it left him with nothing. If Theron would have managed to keep that championship – he would have continued to spiral down that dark road he was on; with that defeat came the opportunity to stop and look around. It gives him the opportunity to evolve.
Mia Nikolas: And, how am I meant to help?…
Matt Daniels: I believe that you’re the only person that may be able to get through to the man that Theron used to be. Theron isn’t going to listen to anything that I, or anyone else with an ounce of power in EAW is going to say to him. That trust in anyone else in Elite Answers Wrestling was destroyed by Robbie V and Brian Daniels, but if there’s anyone that’s going to be able to get through to him – it’s you, Mia. It’s Theron’s own blood.
(Mia pulls out her phone; her background was an image of her and Theron at an independent event in Canada before Theron had been signed by EAW.)
Mia Nikolas: I haven’t been able to get in contact with him since Pain for Pride.
Matt Daniels: Nobody has been able to get in contact with him, but we have to start somewhere in we want to start moving forward as quickly as we can. I need you to make him speak; I know what you said to him after he lost, but those were the words that he needed to hear. He’s going to need to see things for himself, and if that means that he needs some time to get his head around everything – that’s not necessarily a bad thing. But, he needs to know that you’re there, Mia. He needs to know that there’s at least one person there willing to help him up when he thinks that there isn’t anybody.
Mia Nikolas: I can do that.
Matt Daniels: Thank you, Mia. We’ll help your brother. We’ll make sure that he becomes the man that we all thought he was going to be.
Mia Nikolas: Thank you, Matt. I hope you’re right.
(Mia gets up from her chair and smiles in appreciation for the help that CC is giving her. She makes her way towards the door before putting her phone up towards her ear as someone answers her call to her surprise.)
Mia Nikolas: THERON… Theron, I need you to come to Voltage next week…
(Mia leaves the room and closes the door behind her and that’s all of the conversation that we’re able to hear before the camera fades to the ringside area.)
(Voltage fades back to the ring, where Bella is standing by. It’s time for the main event of the evening!)

(‘It Ain’t Safe’ by Skepta begins to play and the crowd begins booing immediately as Charlie Marr and Jordie Ripley walk down the ramp, towards the ring. He doesn’t wait for his partner, but despite that ‘Gangsta’ by New Years Day begins to play, which causes the crowd to replace all of their boos with cheers due to Ms. Extreme walking down to the ring.)
Bella Braxton: MAKING THEIR WAY TO THE RING ACCOMPANIED BY JORDIE RIPLEY.. THE TEAM OF CHARLIE MARR, AND MS. EXTREME!!!!
James Peters: Let’s cut to the chase. This isn’t going to work. We all know Charlie hates women, and he has already made it clear this week how he feels about Ms. Extreme, not to mention the fact that she isn’t the type to take to kindly to him.
Rich Russillo: I mean, that’s true, but these are two talented individuals. If anything, they should be more than capable of putting their differences aside, and working together to defeat their opponents. Speaking of which, here they come now!
(‘Pray For Em’ by Meek Mill follows and the crowd erupts for Malcolm Jones, who walks out onto the stage before stopping just before the ramp to wait for his partner. Shortly after, ‘Roll With Me’ by Charli XCX follows, but the crowd keeps the same energy for Andrea Valentine. The two champions pose with their respective titles and make their way down to the ring as the announcement is made.)
Bella Braxton: AND THEIR OPPONENTS.. THE TEAM OF THE EAW SPECIALISTS CHAMPION, ANDREA VALENTINE, AND THE EAW WORLD CHAMPION, MALCOLM JONES!
James Peters: Now this is a team I see coming together nicely! Both Andrea and Malcolm have respect for one another, unlike the previous team, and the fact that they’re both champions, surely they’re the favorites here!
Rich Russillo: They may be the favorites, but it doesn’t mean they’re not capable of losing. For example, Malcolm has lost in tag team competition before, in fact it was Charlie’s old team MarrKade that defeated him and Astraea Jordan for the Unified tag team titles!
James Peters: Even so, Andrea Valentine isn’t Astraea Jordan, and Ms. Extreme isn’t Daryl Kinkade. You never know how this match could go, so let’s get right into it!

James Peters: This match is underway as Charlie and Malcolm start- BUT THE TWO CHARGE RIGHT AT EACH OTHER! Rich Russillo: Well, there’s a reason why Malcolm is the world champion, but now there’s the tag to Andrea by Malcolm, and Ms. Extreme tags herself in as Charlie used the turnbuckles to get up! Andrea and Ms. Extreme now beginning to lock up! The two engaging in a collar and elbow tie up, but Ms. Extreme is able to get a headlock in on Andrea! Andrea now pushing Ms. Extreme into the ropes, and Ms. Extreme bounces off of the ropes, releasing the hold!

Rich Russillo: What a move by Ms. Extreme! Andrea was just sent crashing into those turnbuckles, and now Ms. Extreme is dragging her away from those ropes before going for the first real cover of this match!

James Peters: Well, we might see that now as Charlie just attempted a lariat, but Andrea ducked it, and there’s a kick to Charlie’s midsection! Andrea now running the ropes, RIGHT INTO A CLOTHESLINE! That power advantage seems to have come into play as Charlie just floored Andrea with that clothesline, and now he has a rear chinlock applied, and this’ll be much more difficult for Andrea to get out of with a weight difference of over 100 pounds!
Rich Russillo: This is what I meant! Despite his problematic views, he’s a very skilled competitor, and he clearly knows what strengths he’s got against Andrea! Andrea’s clearly not able to shrug Charlie off of her, but it looks like she’s trying to reach the ropes! Can she make it, or is she gonna have to submit to Charlie!?

Rich Russillo: Well, I can’t disagree, but Ms. Extreme should’ve looked past that! They could’ve had a win over both the Specialists and the EAW Champion here tonight if they just put their differences aside!
(Roll With Me’ plays as Andrea and Malcolm has their hands raised by the referee. Charlie’s on the outside of the ring, barely conscious after the ending of that match, being tended to by his girlfriend. Ms. Extreme is still nowhere to be seen.)
