Voltage 3/26/23

(EAW intro plays.)

(The camera opens up and a recap of Tempest begins to play. The show started right off the bat with Myles going up against Samael for the EAW World Championship, a tough battle that ended with Myles winning and retaining the championship. After that it was TLA going up against Sheridan in the first ever Taco Brawl match that, after various shenanigans, ended with Sheridan being the victor. Then after that it was ARIA versus Sierra Everett for the Specialists Championship in a Falls Count Anywhere Match where ARIA successfully defended the championship, but after the match, Milli Banks came out to challenge ARIA for the Specialists Championship and ARIA accepted it. Usagi Senshi and Minerva faced off next in a noteworthy match for the two women as it ended with Minerva having her hand raised as the victor. Theron Nikolas faced off against Methuselah in a hard-fought match that ended up with Methuselah taking the win for himself. Hikari Kanno retained the Hardcore Championship against her former IDOL-GUN partner Miku Sakai in a brutal and emotional match. Dr. Bethany Blue beat Harper Lee and retained the Universal Women’s Championship in a solid match. And then in the main event, with Drake King facing off against Yhwach O’Hara, the match was cut off by out of everybody, Methuselah interfering and attacking Yhwach, giving him the DQ win over Drake. Drake was angry about what happened but Methuselah simply stood in front of him, stared at him and extended his hand out for a handshake, and Drake took it and shook it. The recap ended there at that moment.)

(Sunday Night Voltage fades away to show a shot of the WVU Coliseum in Morgantown, West Virginia. An edited version of ‘33rd Blakk Glass’ by ZilaKami & SosMula is played through the speakers as spotlights are panning around and golden pyro is shooting out from the stage. The Voltage crowd cheers loudly while the shot then goes over to show the broadcasting team of Rich Russillo, James Peters, and Persephone.)

Rich Russillo: Welcome everyone…TO SUNDAY NIGHT VOLTAGE! We are coming right off the bat of Tempest and we are back on the road to Pain for Pride, next stop for ourselves? The Grand Rampage!

Persephone: Yes, I can’t wait to sit there for an incredibly long time commentating an incredibly long match because I always get chosen for those for some reason! But yay, more wrestling, and I am praying Rexy appears but wooo, more wrestling!

James Peters: We can’t forget either the show that we have on for tonight, let’s look right through it as we see some new and old faces, there is Mercer Mckay going up against the new signing Eli Cardiff, Korey Gaines versus Miku Sakai and a Voltage versus Showdown showcase with Lucas Johnson from Showdown fighting TLA!

Rich Russillo: And we also have a trios match in store, The Ice Aces, Usagi, Ayu and ARIA, going up against the women that have been stuck in their backs for quite a while, #DisneyBesties, made up of Halsey, Candice and Sierra Everett. Finally, in our main event, the number one contender to the EAW Championship Daryl Kinkade facing off against Ronan Malosi! Let’s not waste anymore time, let’s get right into it!

(Voltage fades to the stage, and ‘Low of Solipsism II’ by Yoshihisa Hirano hits. This causes extremely loud boos from the crowd, especially after what happened at the very end at Tempest. After a while, Drake King begins to walk out, holding a microphone in his hand. Drake looks at the fans in the arena as he stands on the stage, just shaking his head before beginning to walk down the ramp, ignoring the boos completely on his way towards the ring.)

James Peters: I’m still not sure what to think about what happened last week at Tempest. The last time we saw this man was when he faced Yhwach O’Hara, and the way that match ended.. It’s something I don’t think anyone has forgotten about since it first happened.

Rich Russillo: Methuselah came out of nowhere and speared Yhwach just as it looked like he was ready to put the finishing touches on the match. Everyone was confused about this, including Drake, but the rest of us were left in even more confusion when the two shook hands afterwards.

Persephone: Yeah, it was definitely weird. I’m not really sure why it happened, either. Maybe Drake is here to talk about it.

(Drake walks up the steel steps before entering the ring. He waits for just a little while, but the boos do not quiet down. Noticing this, Drake just decides to start speaking.)

Drake King: It’s honestly sad seeing that even now, you all have learned absolutely nothing. I returned to this place over two years ago, and after my return I made it clear that this company was flawed. Clearly things have changed since then, and in the years that I’ve been on this brand I’ve come to understand that this is not a company suffering from the mistakes of a few people. This is an industry that was creating the exact same people dragging it into the ground in the first place. This place was always full of toxicity that needed to be changed, that needed to be removed and erased entirely, and yet here we are in 2023 doing nothing that hasn’t already been done before. When I prepared for my match against Yhwach I was more than ready to expose him for who he truly is, but now that that’s all over and the industry prepares to move on, I can see that there are far bigger problems for me to turn my attention towards right now. Problems that should have been solved back in 2021. Problems like Grand Rampage, and the match thirty people will enter for the sake of becoming World Champion.

(The fans start cheering hearing about the Grand Rampage match, which of course annoys Drake.)

Drake King: See? As expected, you all are excited to see such a ridiculous match that only exists to feed into the arrogance of the EAW roster, KNOWING that there’s nothing great about a match like that! How could a match like the Grand Rampage actually showcase the talent of anybody on the roster? Nobody actually pays attention to the wrestling going on in a match where there’s constantly five or more people in the ring all at once. Nobody actually pays attention to what the participants in that match have to offer unless they’re keeping track of how long they’ve been in the match or how many people they’ve eliminated. The Grand Rampage is a joke, and back in 2021 when I won the match I had hoped that I could actually do something about the state of this company… But I wasn’t even given the choice. I didn’t get to do what I wanted. I wasn’t given the same freedom that everyone else is given when they win the Grand Rampage, solely because my decision didn’t line up with what Captain Charisma wanted for Pain for Pride. My decision was to stop an Elitist as horrible as Malcolm Jones from being rewarded with a Pain for Pride main event, and Captain Charisma just couldn’t have that.

Drake King: You could thank him for the fact that Malcolm is no longer here today, but that’s not the point I’m here to make. I’m here to say that I am not going to sit around and allow another Grand Rampage to pass without doing anything about it. If this company is going to keep moving forward and try as hard as it possibly could to remain stagnant, I’m going to make sure none of you get what you want, which is why I’ve made a choice. I am entering the Grand Rampage match, and I’ll once again be the reason twenty nine people miss out on a free ticket to the Pain for Pride main event.

(This causes loud boos from the crowd, even louder than they already were as nobody is happy to see Drake King enter the Grand Rampage once again.)

James Peters: Well… It looks like it’s not Tempest that Drake was planning to address! Instead it was Grand Rampage, and it turns out that we were given a huge announcement as Drake King has added himself to the list of competitors in the match!

Rich Russillo: This is becoming a stacked Grand Rampage, and I have to say that there’s really no telling who wins this match. I have to say though, I still can’t help but think about what happened at Tempest. I can’t move on to Grand Rampage like that.

Persephone: No, I think we can move on. It looks like-

???: 👏

(Suddenly, clapping is heard as Drake turns towards the stage. After a few seconds the person responsible is revealed, as Methuselah walks out with a smirk on his face, clapping his hands. This causes even louder boos to come from the crowd after the handshake Methuselah and Drake had at Tempest. Methuselah walks down to ringside, grabbing a microphone from the timekeeper’s area before walking over towards the steel steps, walking up to the ring apron before entering the ring. Methuselah walks over to Drake before finally beginning to speak.)

Methuselah: That’s it. That’s exactly why I extended my hand to you.

(This confuses all of the fans a bit, as well as the commentary team.)

Methuselah: Choosing to change the world rather than be a spoke on the wheel is not something to be ridiculed, it’s something to be proud of. Where others fail you succeed, and instead of being too caught up in your own victories to see that this industry is passing you by you’ve set your sights on something nobody else would even think of. This industry is filled with people who never aimed higher, never looked for more and instead sat there, patiently waiting for their “opportunity” just to bite the hand that feeds them because they refused to put in the work. This industry is filled with people who were never going to amount to anything they were actually hoping to amount to, and at the very top stands people capable of exceeding every single expectation met for them and reaching every expectation they’ve set for themselves. The real “top of the mountain” doesn’t hold the hundreds of people with a reign under their belts, it holds the one with the entire world in the palm of his hands. When I took notice of the lengths you were willing to go, it reminded me of someone that stood on top of this world because of his ability to change it whenever he pleased. Me.

(This causes the boos to rise again as Methuselah continues.)

Methuselah: Your ambition reminded me of myself in my early years. It reminded me of the version of myself that’d take matters into his own hands, change the landscape of this company and prove his status as the Master Builder, and it’s admirable. It’s admirable seeing just how much you want to change this company rather than be one small part of it like the rest of the roster. It’s admirable seeing that you’ve successfully set your sights higher, and I want to help cultivate someone that has the potential to reach greater heights than he has for the past two years. Your visions clearly have yet to be realized, but you have not been doomed to a life full of failure as you’ve been told.

(The boos continue seeing Drake and Methuselah seemingly on the same page, with a smile on both of their faces.)

James Peters: I don’t get it. Even after hearing his explanation, I just don’t understand why he’d do this. Did we all just forget that Drake has spent the past few months trying to destroy this company? Not only that, but it doesn’t look like he’s shown any intentions of stopping!

Rich Russillo: Somehow it seems that someone actually sees it as a positive, and that someone is Methuselah of all people.

Persephone: And he said that he’s going to help Drake? What does that mean? You don’t think it means we’ll be seeing less matches happen on Voltage going forward, do you?

(‘SUN//EATER’ by Lorna Shore suddenly hits, and this causes far more of a mixed reaction than what was previously heard. Drake and Methuselah look over at the stage after hearing the music hit, and before long Yhwach O’Hara would be seen walking out to the stage before staring directly at the Elitists inside of the ring, holding a microphone in his hand. Despite the calm look on his face, Yhwach is clearly not happy with what happened at Tempest, and as he walks down towards the ramp and closer to the ring, it becomes clear which one of the two Elitists he’s really staring at.)

James Peters: Uh oh, it looks like Yhwach O’Hara is here to interrupt Methuselah and Drake! I think it’s safe to say that he’s not too happy, either.

Rich Russillo: Of course he isn’t! He was speared out of his boots at Tempest, seconds before he could put Drake King away! I think anybody would be mad in his position.

Persephone: Yeah, that match ended kind of abruptly, but that’s not a bad thing! I think the Voltage roster should be more bold going forward and start cutting more matches short.

(Yhwach enters the ring, and he walks up to Methuselah. There’s a staredown between the two, and this actually causes loud cheers from the crowd thanks to the history these two have with each other. Neither Elitist says anything, until finally Yhwach turns his attention away from Methuselah just for a few seconds, looking at Drake before beginning to speak.)

Yhwach O’Hara: He saved you.

(With that said, Yhwach turns back to Methuselah.)

Yhwach O’Hara: I’m not interested in hearing your motives, or learning why it is that you got yourself involved with our match at Tempest. As far as I am concerned it’s unnecessary. You choosing to fuel Drake’s ego doesn’t erase what happened that night. It doesn’t change the fact that you interfered with a match that had reached its end. You chose to help a man that was on the verge of defeat, in a match against me. The only thing that matters is that you disrupted something that had nothing to do with you. You interfered just before our match could end, bailing Drake out and saving him from a failure that was inevitable as soon as I decided he was next. Regardless of your reason for saving him, regardless of whatever alliance may have been formed between the two of you in the past week, you made a mistake. As soon as I realized you were there I understood that you were up to something, but you of all people should understand by now what happens when you try to form one of these plans at my expense. You know who I am. You knew that as soon as you interfered with that match, I would be out here the next week.

(Methuselah remains silent, allowing Yhwach to continue.)

Yhwach O’Hara: If you truly interfered and disrupted our match solely because you want to help cultivate someone that’s not even a fraction of whatever it is you believe he is, it’s almost disappointing. It’s a shame that something as foolish as that led you to ruining our match, because now I have no other choice but to get involved and make sure you understand exactly what kind of mistake you made at Tempest. You did not need to show your face. You shouldn’t have shown your face, and you definitely shouldn’t have entered yourself into our match for the sake of trying to help someone avoid their own fate. This is what’s going to happen, Methuselah. I am going to finish what you started last week when you speared me. I am going to leave you with a much needed reminder to not mess with me or interfere with anything that I do. At Grand Rampage, you will be facing me.

(This causes extremely loud cheers from the crowd, and after a few seconds a smirk appears on Methuselah’s face.)

Methuselah: Is that what you really want?

(The look on Yhwach’s face does not change and he remains silent, basically giving Methuselah his answer.)

Methuselah: Admittedly, you’re right. I did expect you to be out here, because you’re you. You wouldn’t be Yhwach O’Hara if you allowed things to end the way they did at Tempest. You wouldn’t be who you are if you allowed me to “get away with” spearing you at Tempest, so I always had an idea of how you’d respond to all of this. Unfortunately, that means I can’t be surprised by the fact that you’re making such an awful decision for yourself. Facing me at Grand Rampage, that’s not what you need to do. This is not the match you should be seeking. You could do anything, Yhwach. Enter the Grand Rampage. Earn a Championship match. Cross another name off your list of targets. You have options, so I will ask you one more time. Are you sure that you want this match?

Yhwach O’Hara: At Grand Rampage, Methuselah faces Yhwach. That is what I said. That alone should tell you what I want, so get to the point and make it official. If I wanted to win another Grand Rampage right now, I would enter the Grand Rampage and win it. If I wanted to win another World Championship right now, I would do so. Don’t waste my time.

(Yhwach stops speaking as the cheers continue, and after a little while, Methuselah responds.)

Methuselah: So be it. I’ll give you your match.

(This causes extremely loud cheers from the crowd, but before long, Methuselah walks up to Yhwach and starts to speak once more.)

Methuselah: You have a few more weeks. Think carefully about what you’ve done.

(Methuselah begins to walk out of the ring after this, as ‘SUN//EATER’ begins to play once more. This leaves Yhwach and Drake inside of the ring, and after a brief staredown, Drake also walks out of the ring, leaving Yhwach on his own. There’s a loud mixed reaction from the crowd, but there’s a lot of fans cheering more than before due to the now official match between Yhwach and Methuselah.)

James Peters: Wow. I don’t even know what to say! In the span of a few minutes we just learned so much! Drake King is entering the Grand Rampage, Methuselah somehow sees an early version of himself in Drake and wants to help him, and Yhwach O’Hara will be facing Methuselah at Grand Rampage!

Rich Russillo: Some huge announcements as well as the answer to a question I’m sure the entire world has had for the past week, this has been one hell of a way to open Voltage!

Persephone: Yhwach and Methuselah faced each other in the past, right?

James Peters: That’s an understatement. I wouldn’t say it’s far fetched to say that they’re each other’s biggest enemies, and now at Grand Rampage we’ll be seeing another match between two of the greatest of all time.

(As Yhwach remains inside of the ring, staring at his former Tempest opponent and future Grand Rampage opponent, Voltage fades away from ringside and into a commercial break.)

(Commercial for the movie Cocaine Bear, in theaters now.)

(The camera cuts to Bella Braxton in the ring.)

Bella Braxton: The following contest is scheduled for one fall!

Crowd: ONE FALL!

(‘Mr. Brownstone’ – Guns N’ Roses hits!!!)

Bella Braxton: Introducing first making his Voltage debut… weighing in at 210 pounds from Las Vegas, Nevada he is “King Cobra” ELIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII CARDIFFFFFFFFFFF!!!

(Eli Cardiff makes his way to the ring looking confident and excited to be here. He takes in the moment of being in the EAW ring for the first time as he awaits the arrival of his opponent.)

Rich Russillo: Well we don’t really know too much about this man Eli Cardiff. This is his first appearance here on Voltage so we will be learning a lot about him here tonight!

James Peters: I heard that he also calls himself the “Sin City Striker”. I wasn’t able to get in touch with him to confirm this but that suggests he has made a name for himself on the Las Vegas scene. Now let’s see how he does on the big stage.

(Run by Zeal & Ardor hits as the lights go out and smoke fills the entranceway. Mercer McKay begins to make his way to the ring.)

Bella Braxton: And his opponent from The Black Cabin weighing in at 265 pounds he is “The Mastadon” MERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRCER MCKAY!!!!!!!

(Mercer McKay slowly makes his way to the ring consumed by darkness as he strikes fear into the hearts of his opponent as well as the EAW audience. The lights flicker and turn red as he reaches the ring staring down at Eli Cardiff on the opposite side of the ring. Eli smartly rolls out of the ring before Mercer enters but is told by the officials he has to get back into the ring to start the match.)

Rich Russillo: Well bad luck for Eli Cardiff to draw this man of all people on his debut. Mercer is a monster!

James Peters: Mercer McKay looks like he is on the warpath tonight and that is not good news for his opponent! Eli Cardiff is going to have to bring all of his experience from being the Sin City Striker into this match and hope he can strike hard enough to handle Mercer!

(DING! DING! DING!)

Rich Russillo: We are underway as Mercer McKay charges straight at Eli Cardiff! But Cardiff with a boot right to the face of Mercer stopping him in his tracks. Mercer taken a bit off guard there by Cardiff’s audacity as he staggers back. He gets back to his feet… and eats a Superkick from Cardiff! Cardiff with an impressive start to his debut match here on Voltage! McKay staggers back down to his knees as Cardiff leaps up to the middle rope and projects himself off with a Leaping Enzuigiri right to the back of the head of McKay! McKay collapses down to the mat as Cardiff slides into the cover! That was fast! He’s winning his debut in record time here this week! Anything can happen on Voltage!

Referee: ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!-

James Peters: No! Mercer McKay kicks out with authority! No way the big man Mercer loses the match that quickly! McKay shoves Eli Cardiff away from him as Cardiff rolls back to his feet and meets Mercer in the middle of the ring. They lock up fighting for position and this time Mercer gets the better of Eli! Mercer with the power advantage shoves Eli back up against the ropes as the referee counts until the break is forced. Mercer backs up into the ring as Cardiff sprints around him getting ready to lock up again. But this time Eli intelligently ducks beneath the lock up and goes around behind Mercer! Eli grabs Mercer around the waist before transitioning into a headlock. But Mercer quickly slips out of it reversing it into a headlock of his own! But Eli slips out of that! Mercer shoves Eli back up against the ropes as Eli comes flying back towards him… Eli with a Running Shoulder Block!

Rich Russillo: But he might as well have ran right into a brick wall! No effect at all on the big man Mercer McKay! Eli Cardiff runs off the ropes looking to try again… but this time Mercer drops him with a Clothesline! Eli rolls back up to his feet. Eli charges in and hits a series of lightning fast chops to the chest of Mercer but that doesn’t seem to be doing much either! Thumb to the eye from Eli! That one hurt Mercer! Eli finding a way now as he takes advantage of the blinded state of Mercer to light him up with repeated shots to the skull! Mercer off the ropes… Mercer charges back with a Running Clothesline! But Eli ducks and slides beneath back up to his feet behind Mercer! Mercer whips around… Hard uppercut from Eli to the chin of Mercer sending him stumbling and bouncing off the ropes but Mercer still on his feet! Mercer staggers back into the corner but Eli staying on him and grabs him from behind!

James Peters: Eli Cardiff drives the skull of Mercer McKay hard into the top turnbuckle pad! Eli smashing the brains in of Mercer. But Mercer with a hard shove throwing him away. Eli charges in and eats a hard elbow from Mercer. But he retaliates with hard punches sending Mercer back into the corner. Eli climbs up on Mercer and is delivering those right hands as the crowd counts along!

Crowd: ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR! FIVE! SIX! SEVEN! EIGHT! NINE! TEN!

James Peters: Mercer McKay staggers forward as Eli Cardiff runs through and hits the King’s Landing! Elevated Flatliner connects! The cover!

Persephone: This match has flatlined! Not like my interest in it!

Referee: ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Referee: TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO-

Rich Russillo: Kickout with authority by Mercer McKay sending Eli Cardiff flying through the air with the force of the kickout! Cardiff back up now stalking on McKay who slowly gets back up and Cardiff off the ropes! Cardiff charges in! No! Big Boot to the face from Mercer sending Cardiff flying through the air and crashing and burning! Mercer with that force turning this whole match right around! Cardiff smartly rolls away outside the ring before Mercer can come after him and do anymore damage right there. But Mercer with a determined and angry look on his face drops down and rolls beneath the bottom rope going after his prey! Cardiff staggers away as McKay comes in and nails him with a punch right to the head. Eli staggers off with Mercer in slow pursuit hitting another punch to the face as soon as he stops to take a breather. Mercer not allowing any breathing whatsoever!

James Peters: Eli Cardiff tries to climb over the barricade possibly intending to escape from this debut match here on Voltage! But Mercer grabs him by the tights and yanks him back! Jab to the eyes with two fingers from Eli! Eli going back to the eyes and it has worked well for him thus far in this wrestling contest! Eli taking advantage and slams Mercer’s skull into the top of the steel ring steps! Eli grabs Mercer’s skull and drives it into the apron! The hardest part of the ri-

Rich Russillo: No! Mercer McKay stops his head from hitting the ring apron! He fires back with a swinging clubbing arm right to the neck of Eli Cardiff! Mercer rams Eli’s head into the ring apron instead! Mercer bashing Eli’s brains in and he will not stop! At least until he realizes that he is about to get counted out! Mercer not going to allow this match to end in such a way as he tosses his opponent Eli back up into the ring. But Eli immediately rolls back out resetting the count! Eli swings around using the bottom rope and hits a kick to the head of Mercer! Mercer staggers back as Eli grabs him by the arm and whips him across the ringside area! Mercer slams into the side of the ring steps sending them flying everywhere! Mercer being used like a battering ram causing excessive damage and destruction around the ring tonight!

James Peters: Mercer McKay pulls himself up on the barricade as Eli Cardiff runs in! But Mercer manages to move just in time as Eli slams into the side of the barricade himself with a Running Splash! Mercer measures the leg of Eli with a series of kicks dropping him to his hands and knees! Mercer leaps up with a Sitting Splash right on the back and spine of Eli just straight up crushing him here! Eli lets out a scream and last gasp before he is down and out! Mercer climbs on the back of Eli and begins battering the back of the skull and neck area! Mercer is seeking to do severe and permanent damage!

Persephone: The countout is almost up! The match may end! Oh nos!

Rich Russillo: Mercer McKay tosses Eli Cardiff back into the ring just in time! Both men back into the ring as Mercer hits Eli with a hard headbutt to the skull! Eli tried to throw a punch but the force behind that headbutt caused him to just collapse in the ring as Mercer menacingly stands over him like a colossus! Mercer grabs Eli by the hair and yanks him up with a big Suplex into the sky!!! Eli comes crashing down back first in the middle of the ring! Eli rolls back up but Mercer comes off the ropes! Mercer with a Running Lariat just completely taking the head of Eli off! Eli rolls off into the corner trying to distance himself from Mercer who comes charging in wildly towards the corner!!! RUNNING SPLASH INTO THE CORNER AS SOON AS ELI IS BACK UP!!!

James Peters: Eli Cardiff collapses on his hands and knees in the ring as Mercer McKay drops with a falling Headbutt to the spine dropping Eli right on his face! Mercer back up and drives the knee to the back of Eli’s skull. Mercer is really going off here! Eli taking a lot of punishment and just may be reconsidering his decision to sign up for a match here on Voltage! Eli staggers off into the middle rope as Mercer presses on him choking him out using the ropes in an effort to hurt him.

Referee: ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR! FIVE! Break it up!

Rich Russillo: Mercer McKay breaks it up as Eli Cardiff rolls under the bottom rope laying half in and half out of the ring and catching a breather. Smart move by Eli using the ropes to separate himself from Mercer using the referee to force the break. Eli able to catch his breathe for a moment here and that moment was sorely needed! Mercer postures to the crowd raising a fist in the air in a display of dominance as Mercer is showing the world just what he is made of in case they have forgotten. Slowly Eli back up as Mercer pummels him back into the corner!

James Peters: But suddenly Eli Cardiff fires back out with repeated strikes throwing back Mercer McKay! Eli desperately fighting his way back throwing all he has left just swinging wildly! Respect to Eli for giving it all he has as Mercer is seemingly taken aback… but Mercer suddenly shoves Eli back into the corner… He runs in with a Big Boot to the head of Eli! But Mercer catches him as he falls… BURNING FLOWSION!!!! MERCER GOT ALL OF IT! THE COVER!!

Persephone: Big Boot in the corner! Ripcord lariat into an Emerald Flowsion! Now that has to be the end of the match!!!!

Referee: ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!

Referee: TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!

Referee: THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rich Russillo: Kickout by Eli Cardiff! Impressive that he is surviving this long! He has to have earned the respect of the Voltage locker room with the amount of effort he is putting into this match! Even Mercer McKay looks impressed! Many would have just called it a night after a devastating move like that!

James Peters: But now Mercer McKay is laughing! He’s looking down at Eli Cardiff and laughing as if to say that the kid just made a very big mistake! Mercer picks Eli up and lifts him up over his head… before dropping him with a thunderous Powerbomb in the ring! But Mercer hangs on! Mercer with another Powerbomb! And another! And another! Somebody has to stop this! Over and over again Mercer is driving Eli down onto the back of his neck just absolutely destroying and punishing him! Eli is not moving! He is completely down and out but Mercer not even bothering to go for the cover! Mercer stomps down hard right on the face of Eli busting his nose wide open as Mercer wipes the blood off the sole of his boot in the ring leaving a red stain on the mat.

Rich Russillo: Mercer McKay lifts Eli Cardiff up once more… before slamming him down in the ring with the Infernal Bomb! Not even sure that was necessary. Mercer is just toying with his opponent now. He could really end this thing anytime he wants to. Mercer stomps down on the hands of Eli but there isn’t even a reaction because Eli is unconscious. Mercer stomps away smashing the fingers of Eli into a bloody pulp and the medical staff is definitely going to have some things to look at with this man later after the match.

Persephone: This is getting quite barbaric. I am not sure Disney should allow this match to continue.

Rich Russillo: Unfortunately there is not much the referee can do here as he checks Eli Cardiff in the ring. But Mercer McKay shoves him aside and drives his knee down hard into the face of Eli! Mercer lifts Eli up and then drops him down to the mat with the Seed of Evil! Mercer coming off the top with that Flying Headbutt as a follow up and a silence has fallen over this crowd as they witness Mercer just absolutely beating up this motionless lifeless man in the ring. Come on Mercer just end it!

James Peters: Mercer McKay yanks Eli Cardiff up once again as he delivers the Hall of Atonement onto his opponent before at last going for the cover!

Referee: ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!

Referee: TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!

Referee: THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!

(DING! DING! DING!)

Bella Braxton: Here is your winner… MERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRCER MCKAYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!

(Run by Zeal & Ardor hits as the referee goes to raise Mercer McKay’s arm but he shoves him out of the way and rolls out of the ring.)

Rich Russillo: Well that match was certainly something. I just hope that this kid is okay after his debut match. Definitely not what he was hoping for in getting a good start to his EAW career.

James Peters: And speaking of a good start… it looks like Mercer McKay is just getting started!

(Mercer McKay flips up the ring apron and rummages around beneath before eventually pulling out large strands of barbed wire! Mercer wraps them around his fists before climbing back into the ring. The referee tries to stand between Eli and Mercer but Mercer shoves him to the ground and the referee flees from ringside.)

Rich Russillo: Mercer McKay stalking Eli Cardiff with that barbed wire wrapped around his fists! He climbs on top of Eli and begins punching him in the face! Mercer just smashing the face of Eli over and over again with that barbed wire! This is horrific! The barbed wire is slicing and cutting into the face of Eli most likely causing permanent scarring! The blood flowing down the forehead of Eli! Somebody needs to do something! Mercer just won’t stop!

(The camera immediately cuts away from Eli and Mercer to censor the blood. Suddenly EAW security swarms the ring and pulls Mercer McKay off Eli Cardiff and attempts to drag him out of the ring. Mercer is shown assaulting several officials but eventually the numbers get to him and he is dragged away from the ring. Mercer is shown smiling as he looks up at the Tron and sees Eli Cardiff’s bloody unconscious sliced up face looking at him. This appears to content Mercer who drops the barbed wire from his own bloody hands and walks backstage willingly.)

James Peters: Well we will have to update you on the condition of Eli Cardiff. But I would not be surprised if he decides never to come back here to Voltage. An incident like this is something that you don’t always just get over. Of course we have to be impressed that he even tried in the first place.

Rich Russillo: It may take him some time to recover but hopefully he doesn’t let this incident scar his EAW experience and the potential for his career.

Persephone: Phrasing Rich. Phrasing.

(Voltage fades away from ringside.)

(The camera cuts backstage to Sofia Clarke at the interview area, holding an EAW-branded microphone in her hand while smiling, prepared to introduce her next guests off-screen.)

Sofia Clarke: Ladies and gentlemen, my guests at this time… the team of Halsey Neel, Sierra Everett, and Candice Blair… Disney Besties.

(The crowd boos as the camera zooms out, and all three women enter the frame with Halsey Neel standing on Sofia’s right, but both Candice and Sierra stood to Sofia’s left. They have on their entrance gear for later tonight, prepared to go head-to-head with Ice Aces, but are visibly sour as Tempest left a bad taste in their mouth, especially Sierra’s, who thought she’d be walking out of the event with ARIA’s Specialists Title. Two weeks ago, things went badly for Candice Blair also, who competed against Daryl Kinkade in a losing effort to be number one contender to Myles’ championship, so she’s got a lot to be irritated about as well. Halsey is upset that her team has run into such obstacles, but appears more focused on the task at hand tonight.)

Sofia Clarke: At Tempest, things didn’t exactly go your way-

Sierra Everett: Yeah, no kidding. “Brilliant” journalism from Sofia Clarke everyone. Seriously, round of applause. …In case you couldn’t tell, I’m being sarcastic. Yeah, things did not go my way at Tempest. I should’ve become the Specialists Champion, or Candice’s words, had my happily ever after, but I didn’t. Somehow, someway, ARIA managed to escape with her title, despite the fact we had constructed a brilliant, masterful gameplan. If only Ice Aces didn’t come around to screw it up…

Sofia Clarke: Well, many people say if Ice Aces hadn’t shown up, you would’ve stolen the title rather than won it.

Candice Blair: :picard:

Sierra Everett: Stole? I couldn’t have stolen the title, because our game plan was perfectly within the rules. It was a falls count anywhere match, right?

Sofia Clarke: Right.

Sierra Everett: Does it state anywhere in a Falls Count Anywhere match that outside interference is banned?

Sofia Clarke: No.

Sierra Everett: Exactly, point proven. Eden Sinclair must’ve been somewhere smiling at our craftiness.

Sofia Clarke: But-

Sierra Everett: Ya know what? I think I’m done discussing Tempest with you, Sofia. You know what I’d like to discuss? I’d like to discuss tonight, the present, the now. Because if our gear didn’t give it away, we have a match, not just any, but a match with The Ice Aces, and an equal opportunity at revenge.

Candice Blair: But let’s clear something up. We don’t just want revenge for what happened at Tempest, robbing my BESTIE of her happily ever after. Our history with the Ice Aces goes back further, it traces back all the way to Road to Redemption, which we haven’t forgotten. But believe me, our want to personally put an end to the Ice Aces is still there.

Sofia Clarke: Ladies, I don’t mean to offend, you guys lost that affair too. What will be the difference maker tonight?

Halsey Neel: The difference maker? Look around.

Candice Blair: I couldn’t have said it better myself, bestie. 😌 For once, the playing field is even, we don’t have deadweight like Ronan Malosi holding us down, we have someone like Halsey in our corner, who can more than hold her own in a fight.

Halsey Neel: Especially against the Ice Aces, because if memory serves correct, I currently hold a victory over them in trios action, and that was with Kylie Grace and Haruka Kashimashi. Imagine how tonight goes with me, Candice, and Sierra, two women I actually respect, and two women I actually consider friends.

Candice Blair: BEST friends! 😉

Halsey Neel: Simply put, the Ice Aces don’t stand a chance.

Sofia Clarke: I imagine you’ll have eyes in the back of your head tonight, because Ice Aces may not be all you have to worry about. Of course, Ronan Malosi-

Candice Blair: Ah, yes. Ronan Frederick Malosi. Ya know things didn’t go well for Sierra at Tempest, and that’s because of the Ice Aces. But! Things didn’t go well for me at Super Voltage II either, and the Ice Aces aren’t to blame for that. Ronan is to blame for that. Ronan, that greasy, pathetic, little weasel…

Halsey Neel: I apologize, Candice, sincerely. Because I thought that Ronan was dealt with following our three stages of hell match. I thought after I threw him off the cage onto that pile of thumbtacks, it’d be the end of him, but clearly I was wrong. Clearly, I let him off too easily. Clearly, I should’ve done worse.

Candice Blair: Apology accepted, Halsey, because I was just like you. I had thought the same thing, I thought it was finally time for us to put Ronan Malosi in our rear view mirror, and focus on bigger and better things, which would’ve been defeating Daryl Kinkade in the main event of Super Voltage and heading to Grand Rampage to take that Universal Women’s Championship from Dr. Bethany Blue. Had I beaten Bethany, who knows? You could’ve seen me carry the Universal Women’s Championship into Pain for Pride!

Sierra Everett: Unfortunately, we were robbed of that reality.

Candice Blair: As I said earlier, all thanks to Ronan Malosi. Things would’ve been different had he not been involved, had he not hobbled his way down to the ring RIGHT when I was about to put Daryl away with my Disneyland Destroyer. You saw it, Sofia, everyone saw it, I had Daryl Kinkade beat. Ronan Malosi is the sole reason I didn’t pin Daryl to the mat, 1-2-3. Ronan Malosi is the sole reason I’m not fighting for the Universal Women’s Championship at Grand Rampage. Ronan Malosi is the sole reason for a lot of our misfortunes. He’s the sole reason as to why Eden Sinclair decided to leave for Disneyland Paris.

Sierra Everett: He’s the sole reason why we lost our match against the Ice Aces, because despite being 6-foot-8, 280 something pounds, he’s incompetent as both a wrestler AND insurance policy.

Halsey Neel: He’s the sole reason why I lost my match against Daryl. Better yet, he’s the sole reason as to why I’m not Hardcore Champion right now, so I guess he cost us both title opportunities, Candice.

Sofia Clarke: Safe to say, you guys harbor some strong feelings of hatred toward Ronan.

Halsey Neel: Hatred is an understatement.

Sierra Everett: At this rate, we’ve reached our breaking point when it comes to Ronan. If it seems as if we’re annoyed, it’s because we are. He won’t go away, he’s like a chihuahua that just keeps hanging on the back of your heels, continuing to bark and bark and bark, severely gnawing at your patience.

Candice Blair: Like Sierra said, Ronan won’t go away. He refuses to go away, and give us a happy ending to the nightmare that was teaming with him.

Halsey Neel: He doesn’t just refuse to go away, he refuses to take a hint. I mean, what is he expecting out of all this? Revenge? As if it hasn’t been made clear already, that’s out of bounds for him. He’s gone up against me, he’s gone up against Sierra, and so far, he’s been zero for two. I’m sure if he went up against Candice, he’d be zero for three as well.

Sierra Everett: He’s failed against us separately, but he’s also failed against us equally. I’ve lost track of how many times the three of us have left him laying.

Halsey Neel: Maybe that’s our problem.

Sierra Everett: How so?

Halsey Neel: We’ve left Ronan laying, but we’ve continuously allowed Ronan to get back up.

Candice Blair: Ooh, I like where your head’s at!

Sierra Everett: As do I. Continue.

Halsey Neel: If Ronan refuses to make the right decision for once in his career, that being to get up and bother someone else, we’ll make the decision for him. He won’t have an option to get back up, and be a persistent problem in our careers.

Candice Blair: So, what you’re saying is… we put an end to Ronan Frederick Malosi?

Halsey Neel:  That’s exactly what I’m saying. Next time, because there will be a next time we leave Ronan lying, we’ll be officially done with him. There’ll be no coming back.

Sierra Everett: So, it’s settled. Ronan, the three of us promise to put an end to your career, but! If we have to, if you force us to, we’ll do far worse than that.

Halsey Neel: But first, we plan on putting an end to the Ice Aces. Let’s go, girls.

(Halsey Neel walks off, and Candice and Sierra follow, waving goodbye to Sofia as they do. Once the trio leave the frame, the camera pans back to Sofia Clarke, who has a slight look of :yikes: on her face for Ronan Malosi, as the Disney Besties seem dead-set on taking him out, whether it being his career, or worse… regardless, the camera fades out, and transitions into a commercial break.)

(Promotional ad for Grand Rampage, where Methuselah faces Yhwach O’Hara.)

(Sunday Night Voltage returns from a brief commercial break, with the camera going to show EAW Network Host and Backstage Announcer Molly Waters standing by. She’s in a fancy interview room, seated in a chair with another one across from her, while for the time being the shot begins to pan in on her. She takes a moment before then. Beginning to speak to the audience in attendance.)

Molly Waters: Welcome back, and I don’t think I need to repeat everyone in saying what a week it has been for the Sunday Night Voltage. Hot off the heels of an exciting Tempest Marquee Event, the show tonight has already greeted us with plenty of surprises, and I think it’s safe to say that we’re far from done in that category. But for right now, I’d like to take a look back at one of the most personal matches that happened last week in Cleveland, which saw the Hardcore Championship being put on the line between two Elitists who are no strangers to one another. Former tag team partners turned bitter enemies, and only one of them walked out of the event as the Champion, and it was the one that walked into it as one. Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome my guest here tonight… Hikari Kanno.

(The camera cuts over to show the Hardcore Champion Hikari Kanno making her way into the frame. She’s dressed in casual attire with her title resting on her shoulder as she takes a seat across from Molly with a light smile on her face. She wears the battle scars of her hellacious battle at Tempest, bandaged and bruised in various areas, but despite that it’s nothing to her compared to the satisfaction she got out of the night, it was part of the process and furthermore worth it if what she got out of it was the prize. Molly takes a moment to allow her to make an entrance before continuing to speak from there.)

Molly Waters: Hikari, of course, thank you for finding the time to join us tonight for this interview. I tried my best to describe the atmosphere of Tempest for you before you entered, but I feel like it falls flat compared to your account of the matter. So I’d like to start this off by asking you quite simply, how did it feel? From the match itself to the result.

(Hikari takes a moment, composing herself before beginning to speak.)

Hikari Kanno: Initially, and initially when Miku Sakai first returned to Elite Answers Wrestling after being cleared from her injury, I felt a word that I’ve repeated since the events of King of Elite last year… penitence. As mentioned, I also worked toward breaking it, once and for all, and that involved stepping into what was possibly the most personal match of my career. There was a certain weight to it, and a part of me didn’t want to believe that Miku was standing across from me. But it was necessary to become the truest form of Hikari Kanno that EAW has ever seen. Let me correct myself, beating Miku at Tempest was necessary to become the truest form of Hikari Kanno that EAW has ever seen. Fighting the woman that I’ve known my entire life, someone who I would’ve taken a bullet for at one point and have, and beating her. A lot of people think that I have some sort of sorrow for beating her last week, but really I don’t, everything about Miku Sakai, IDOL-GUN, I’ve put it behind me for ambitions that I’ve been chasing for a year at this point. I shelved all of it and grew immune to that pain that was inevitable once Miku walked through those doors again. I don’t regret anything, because it’s what got me to this point in the first place. I’ve said it from the beginning that IDOL-GUN is just a memory now, and I’ll hold to that, because I wasn’t going to lose the Hardcore Championship even if my opponent was Miku Sakai, and in the end that was the truth. The only person that’s going to be feeling the effects is Miku, because admittingly, she’s a child that refuses to learn, and now she pays the price as I leave her in the dust. I do hope she does well wherever she’s going to be right now, but one thing for certain is the fact that I’m the one that put the final nail in the coffin for this story. She knows better than to try and reopen old wounds in the future. I understand that there likely won’t be any fixing things between us, but that’s something that I’ve come to accept, and now I’m shifting my attention back toward defending this title and taking on whoever wants a shot for it.

Molly Waters: Well, I figure I should take the opportunity to ask the obvious, what’s next for the Hardcore Championship in your mind? Better yet, is there anyone in mind when it comes to a potential challenger?

Hikari Kanno: Well I’m not looking to be a Champion who picks and chooses who their challengers are going to be. To make a long story short, I’m more than open to defending the Hardcore Championship against whoever is willing to step up and challenge it here on Voltage. One thing I’ve taken into account these past couple months is the fact that both of my defenses so far in my title reign have been against people who made it known from the get go that they wanted my title. They all picked fights with me, and in Halsey’s case she won a contendership match to earn her shot at King of Elite. In my honest opinion, I believe that the future of the Hardcore Championship is far greater than what the first half of the Season had to offer, and I’m certain that the entire Voltage roster knows that as well.

Molly Waters: When do you think that next challenger is going to come up? In time for Grand Rampage? And better yet do you have any bar that you hold for them if they’re looking to accept?

Hikari Kanno: I don’t plan to pick a date for when that next title defense is going to be, but if you ask me? I don’t think it’s going to take very long either. Look at it like this, it’s Pain For Pride Season, and with the excitement as high as it is right now, everyone, especially heading into the Grand Rampage Marquee Event, is willing to do anything to get on the card. I could only imagine what else they’d do to sweeten the deal by walking in as a Champion. That means that more than ever I’m going to end up being a target by some hungry Elitist looking to make a point at my expense and take this away from me. But whoever I end up being targeted by, I don’t really have much of a preference regarding that. I’m not going to try and predict the future and anticipate what’s going to happen next, I don’t want to end up disappointing myself with whatever reality I end up facing after this. All I can tell you right now though? I’m going to be ready for whatever’s next, and this Hardcore Championship is not going to leave my waist if I have something to say about it. I’ve faced the very best that this company has to offer and I have scratched and clawed up the mountain to reap the benefits that I have at this current moment. I reign as a prosperous and deserving Champion who has proven that she deserves it by jumping over whatever obstacle is in front of her. I’ll leave it with this, no obstacle is too big or small for me to handle, and I’m going to be expecting the very best out of the Elitist who’s next in line for this.

Molly Waters: Well it’s clear to say that you’re passionate about this Hardcore Championship, and that you’re looking to get that next challenger out of the way sooner rather than later. Are there any last words that you’re looking to put out there?

(Hikari smirks while looking over at her title which gleams over her shoulder.)

Hikari Kanno: Just make sure not to disappoint me, will you?

(Molly smiles as she continues to speak from there.)

Molly Waters: Confidence as per usual for the Champion, of course Hikari once again I’d like to thank you for joining us tonight for this interview.

Hikari Kanno: The pleasure is all mine.

(Hikari stands up from her seat and leaves the scene, leaving the camera to focus on Molly still seated in her chair.)

Molly Waters: It’s certainly going to be interesting to see the future of the Hardcore Championship not just in the future, but all the way leading up to Pain For Pride XVI. But for right now the night is far from done, as we come to you with more Sunday Night Voltage action.

(Molly waves toward the camera as it’s the last shot seen before Sunday Night Voltage begins to fade down to the ringside area.)

(‘Brooklyn The Hole’ by Miku Sakai begins to play through the arena to an immediate response of loud, deafening boos, followed by Miku Sakai herself walking out onto stage, still not singing her own theme. She is beaten and battered with that mean look on her face as she is not pleased with how Tempest ended.)

Bella Braxton: THE FOLLOWING CONTEST IS SET FOR ONE FALL!!

Crowd: ONE FALL!!

Bella Braxton: INTRODUCING FIRST…FROM FUKUI, JAPAN… WEIGHING IN AT 110 POUNDS….MIKUUUUUUUUUUU SAKAIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!!!!!!!!!

James Peters: You can just tell by the look on Miku’s face tonight that she’s not in a very good mood in the slightest.

Rich Russillo: Of course she’s not. She wanted more than anything to get revenge on the woman who betrayed her but fell short and she looks to take her anger out here tonight.

(“What’s Up Danger” – Blackway & Black Caviar plays as Korey makes his way out to a mixed reaction from the crowd. He takes a deep breath before making his way down the entrance ramp ready for a fight.)

Bella Braxton: AND HER OPPONENT….FROM OKLAHOMA CITY, OKLAHOMA…WEIGHING IN AT 170 POUNDS…”THE EXTREME”….KOOREEEEYYYYYY GAAIIINNNEEESSSSSS!!!!

Rich Russillo: Guy who’s had quite a bit of bad luck in trying to find his footing since returning but has shown many flashes in the matches he’s been in. He is in need of a big win and boy does he have quite the chance here tonight.

James Peters: Miku Sakai is a former Unified Tag Team and Specialists Champion. Defeating her would be a big deal, but it also would not be easy whatsoever.

(Ding! Ding! Ding!)

Rich Russillo: And off we go as this match is underway both Miku and Korey circle the ring before locking up in a collar and elbow tie-up! Korey quickly gets her in a side headlock, but Miku pushes him to the ropes – AND THEN HITS A HIP TOSS! Miku then hits several kicks to the lower body as Korey backs up into the corner, AND HERE COMES MIKU WHO DELIVERS A RUNNING FOREARM STRIKE TO THE FACE!! Miku looks to have all the momentum in the early goings of this one.

James Peters: Miku hits a few rights before picking Korey up and placing him on the top rope! And Miku goes up top with him and looks to be going for a superplex, but Korey is trying his best to fight back with shots to the ribs! Korey then throws a stiff elbow to the face before- A SUNSET FLIP BOMB FROM THE TOP ROPE! AND KOREY QUICKLY STACKS HER UP FOR THE PIN!

OOOOOONNNNNNEEEEEE!!!

TTTWWWWWWWOOOOOOOO!!!

Rich Russillo: And a quick kickout from Miku as Korey with so much energy waits to Miku to stand up and then charges at her – BUT MIKU COUNTERS WITH A BACK BODY DROP SENDING KOREY OVER THE TOP ROPE TO THE OUTSIDE FLOOR!! Miku then climbs up to the top rope next to her….AND THEN LEAPS OFF TAKING KOREY OUT WITH A CROSSBODY FROM THE TOP ON THE OUTSIDE FLOOR! The momentum again shifts to Miku as she goes to pick Korey up and get him back inside the ring.

James Peters: BUT KOREY SLAMS HER FACE FIRST ON THE RING APRON! Korey does it once more before sliding her back inside the ring as he hops up on the apron, AND THEN KOREY LEAPS THROUGH THE SECOND ROPE AND ROLLS FORWARD – AND RUNS INTO A HIGH KNEE FROM MIKU! I don’t know what Korey had in mind there but it backfired big time as Miku looks to go right back on the attack stomping the life out of Korey on the ground! Now Miku picks him up and places him between the legs and picks him up going for a buckle bomb in the corner – BUT KOREY COUNTERS IT WITH A HURRICANRANA AS MIKU HITS THE SECOND TURNBUCKLE FACE FIRST! AND THEN KOREY ROLLS UP MIKU FROM BEHIND!!

Persephone: BUT MIKU ROLLS THROUGH IT BACK TO HER FEET…AND THEN HITS A STANDING DROPKICK TO THE FACE OF THE SEATED KOREY GAINES! Miku again stomps away at the body of Korey before picking him up, but Korey is trying his best to fight back by pushing her away and then tries to throw a right hand punch, but Miku blocks it and then delivers a high knee that drives Korey into the corner! MIKU RUNS AND DRIVES BOTH OF HER KNEES INTO THE CHEST OF KOREY, BEFORE FOLLOWING IT UP WITH A MONKEY FLIP AS KOREY LANDS FLAT ON HIS BACK IN THE CENTER OF THE RING! Miku doesn’t stop there as she quickly ascends up the top rope before looking down at Korey…AND THEN LAUNCHES HERSELF AND CONNECTS WITH A SOMERSAULT SENTON ON THE BODY ON KOREY AND SHE HOOKS THE LEG FOR THE COVER!!

OOOOOONNNNNNEEEEEEE!!!

TTTWWWWWWWOOOOOOOO!!!

James Peters: And the kickout from Korey Gaines!! Miku doesn’t waste any time as she picks up Korey leaning him up against the ropes before delivering an Irish whip as Korey rebounds off the ropes but slides under the legs of Miku and standing to face her back…AND KOREY DRILLS HER WITH A REVERSE DDT! Korey buys himself some valuable time to recoup after taking quite some damage from Miku as Korey pulls himself back up and then approaches Miku on her knees.

Rich Russillo: And now it’s Korey stomping on Miku! Korey then eventually runs off the ropes and delivers a running dropkick to the side of Miku’s face! Korey is trying to pump himself up here to build some momentum for himself as Miku stands and turns to face him – AND KOREY DELIVERS A SPINNING DOUBLE LEG LARIAT TAKING MIKU DOWN! And Korey doesn’t stop there as he now makes his way over to the ropes and begins his climb, what does he have in mind here?! AND KOREY LEAPS OFF AND GOES FOR A HIGH SHOOTING STAR PRESS!! BUT MIKU GOT THE KNEES UP!!

Persephone: Miku got the knees up just in time! Korey took a huge risk and it might just end up costing him here as Miku is back up to her feet…AND MIKU RUNS AND SPRINGBOARDS OFF THE SECOND ROPE AND DRILLS KOREY’S HEAD INTO THE MAT WITH SPINNING TORNADO DDT! AND THEN MIKU HOOKS BOTH LEGS FOR ANOTHER COVER!

OOOOOONNNNNNEEEEEEE!!!

TTTWWWWWWWOOOOOOOO!!!

TTTTTTHHHHHRRRRREEEEEEEE!!!

James Peters: But Korey got the shoulder up again, but again Miku looks to stay on the attack as she picks Korey up…AND KOREY OUT OF NOWHERE DELIVERS AN ENZIGURI KICK TO THE SIDE OF THE HEAD THAT DROPS MIKU DOWN TO A KNEE! AND THEN IN ONE SWIFT MOTION KOREY GRABS HER LEG AND DROPS HER DOWN AND APPLIES THE KNEE BAR SUBMISSION! KOREY IS TRYING TO APPLY AS MUCH PRESSURE AS HE CAN AS MIKU TRIES TO MAKE HER WAY OVER TO THE ROPES OR TRYING TO FIGURE A WAY OUT OF THIS!

Rich Russillo: Miku is dragging her way over slowly…AND SHE GRABS AHOLD OF THE BOTTOM ROPE FORCING THE BREAK! Korey is taking the full five count to let go but finally does and he grabs Miku by the feet and drags her back to the center of the ring, but Miku kicks him in the face with her free leg before pushing him into the corner buying herself just enough time to get back to her feet as Korey charges full speed at her – AND MIKU CATCHES HIM AND DRILLS HIM WITH A JUMPING REVERSE STO! Every time it seems like Korey is getting a little bit of momentum, Miku responds. And now what does she have in mind here? Miku stands up on the second turnbuckle as Korey stands up and turns around…AND MIKU DELIVERS A BLOCKBUSTER LEAPING FROM THE SECOND TURNBUCKLE AS SHE GOES FOR THE COVER AGAIN!!

OOOOOONNNNNNEEEEEEE!!!

TTTWWWWWWWOOOOOOOO!!!

James Peters: And Korey is still in it! Miku looks like she doesn’t want to deal with Korey any longer as she quickly picks him up….AND MIKU LOOKS TO BE SETTING UP FOR “STARFALL” HOOKING BOTH OF THE ARMS!! BUT KOREY SPINS OUT OF IT AND PULLS MIKU IN FOR A RIPCORD KNEE STRIKE ACROSS THE BRIDGE OF THE NOSE! KOREY FOLLOWS THAT UP WITH A ROUNDHOUSE KICK!! Korey falls down to a knee trying to recoup as Miku rolls under the bottom rope.

James Peters: Korey looks over at Miku trying to stand on the apron and he walks over and picks her up by the head and drags her upper body through the second rope…AND KOREY DRILLS HER HEAD INTO THE MAT WITH A ROPE HUNG DDT! Korey doesn’t go for the cover as he quickly makes his way to the corner and quickly ascends up the top rope – AND A FROG SPLASH CONNECTS ON TOP OF MIKU!! Korey may have did some damage to himself there as he holds his ribs in some pain but he finally hops over to Miku and hooks the leg for the cover!!

OOOOOONNNNNNEEEEEEE!!!

TTTWWWWWWWOOOOOOOO l!!!

RIch Russillo: AND MIKU GETS THE SHOULDER UP! Korey still looks to be in some pain with how he landed on the frog splash. He stands up and tries to shake it off as he approaches Miku who is on both knees, AND HE RUNS OFF THE ROPES LOOKING FOR ANOTHER DROPKICK TO THE SIDE OF THE FACE…BUT MIKU GETS OUT OF THE WAY AT THE LAST SECOND AND THEN LOOKS TO JUMP UP AND DRIVE THE KNEE INTO KOREY’S FACE, BUT IT’S KOREY WHO MOVES JUST BARELY OUT OF THE WAY THIS TIME! SHE POPS UP AND THEY BOTH RUN AND TAKE EACH OTHER DOWN WITH A DOUBLE CLOTHESLINE!! Both competitors are down now.

Persephone: Now the both of them crawl to opposite ends of the ring from one another, they stir to their feet at almost the same time before turning around to face the other…AND KOREY TRIES TO GO FOR AN ENZIGURI KICK TO THE HEAD, BUT MIKU CAUGHT THE LEG AND SHE DELIVERS A DRAGON SCREW AS KOREY LANDS ON HIS BACK WHILE MIKU STILL HAS HOLD OF HIS RIGHT LEG, AND THEN SHE DRIVES THE LEG RIGHT INTO THE MAT! Miku falls back into the corner as Korey is having a little bit of a tough time getting to his feet. He finally does as he turns around, AND MIKU GOES FOR “DEATH NOTE!!” SHE GOES FOR HER ASAI DDT…BUT KOREY PUSHES HER OFF BEFORE SHE TURNS AROUND AND CHARGES RIGHT BACK AT HIM WITH A FULL HEAD OF STEAM….BUT KOREY CATCHES HER OUT OF NOWHERE WITH THE INSIDE CRADLE!!!

OOOOOONNNNNNEEEEEEE!!!

TTTWWWWWWWOOOOOOOO!!!

TTTTTTHHHHHRRRRREEEEEEEE!!!

Rich Russillo: BUT MIKU REVERSES IT INTO A PIN OF HER OWN!!

OOOOOONNNNNNEEEEEEE!!!

TTTWWWWWWWOOOOOOOO!!!

TTTTTTHHHHHRRRRREEEEEEEE!!!

James Peters: DID SHE GET HIM?! The referee says no as they both race up to their feet, and Korey runs going for a knee into the side of the skull, but Miku side steps before running off the ropes…KOREY SWINGS BUT SHE DUCKS AND SPRINGBOARDS OFF OF THE OPPOSITE SECOND ROPE – A SPRINGBOARD FOREARM FROM MIKU! BUT OH MY GOD!!!! KOREY CAUGHT HER IN MID AIR WITH THE SUPERKICK!! Korey though is in a lot of pain both in the leg and with the ribs as he slowly makes his way over to Miku and hooks the leg! Is Korey going to pull off the upset here?!

OOOOOONNNNNNEEEEEEE!!!

TTTWWWWWWWOOOOOOOO!!

TTTTTTHHHHHRRRRREEEEEEEE!!!

Rich Russillo: KICKOUT FROM MIKU! Miku stays alive as Korey shows some very obvious signs of frustration. Korey slowly makes his way back up and goes to pick Miku off the mat…AND MIKU BEGINS THROWING KICKS TO THE LOWER BODY AND THE LEG AREA! KOREY SWINGS AT HER HEAD IN DESPERATION, BUT SHE DUCKS IT AND DRILLS KOREY WITH A SIDE RUSSIAN LEG SWEEP!! MIku takes a second to stand and Korey takes that time to roll out of the ring as Miku tried to prevent him from doing so. Miku now seems annoyed as she grabs Korey by the hair through the second rope…AND KOREY DELIVERS A RIGHT HANDED PUNCH DRIVING MIKU BACK IN THE RING!

James Peters: Korey knows this is a golden opportunity here as he climbs up the apron and begins to measure Miku who is stirring to her feet. AND KOREY SPRINGBOARDS OFF THE APRON…BUT MIKU THROWS HERSELF INTO THE CORNER CAUSING HIM TO LOSE HIS BALANCE ON THE TOP ROPE!! Korey is a sitting duck hanging on the top rope as Miku ascends up to the top turnbuckle – AND DROPS BOTH OF HER KNEES ONTO THE BACK OF KOREY’S HEAD BRINGING HIM BACK INSIDE THE RING AND DRAGGING HIM AWAY FROM THE ROPES AND GOING FOR ANOTHER COVER!! WILL THIS BE ENOUGH TO PUT KOREY AWAY HERE?

OOOOOONNNNNNEEEEEEE!!!

TTTWWWWWWWOOOOOOOO!!

TTTTTTHHHHHRRRRREEEEEEE!!

Rich Russillo: NO IT’S NOT AS KOREY STILL SHOWS SOME SIGNS OF LIFE! Miku quickly picks him up and then…MIKU TRIES TO THROW HIM SHOULDER FIRST INTO THE RING POST THROUGH THE SECOND TURNBUCKLE, BUT KOREY REVERSES IT AND SENDS HER INTO THE CORNER AS SHE HITS THE TOP TURNBUCKLE FACE FIRST! Miku turns around, AND THEN KOREY GOES FOR ANOTHER ONE OF HIS SUPERKICKS!!

James Peters: BUT MIKU CATCHES THE FOOT! MIKU FLIPS HIM BACKWARDS BUT KOREY LANDS ON HIS FEET WHICH CAUGHT HER A LITTLE OFF GUARD! Korey takes that small window….AND KOREY DROPS HER WITH HIS “DETONATION” SPINNING ROUNDHOUSE KICK!! KOREY FALLS DOWN ON TOP OF HER AND MAKES THE COVER!!

OOOOOONNNNNNEEEEEEE!!!

TTTWWWWWWWOOOOOOOO!!!

TTTTTTHHHHHRRRRREEEEEEE!!!

Persephone: THAT’S NOT GOOD ENOUGH AS MIKU GETS THE SHOULDER OFF THE MAT! Korey is more frustrated this time pounding his fist on the mat before he rolls under the bottom rope and makes his way up top. This is what he does best but what could he have in mind here?! AND KOREY LAUNCHES HIMSELF OFF THE TOP ROPE GOING FOR “OKIE DOKIE!!!” HE IS GOING FOR HIS 450 SPLASH!!

James Peters: BUT MIKU MOVES OUT OF THE WAY AS KOREY CRASHES AND BURNS!! Korey went for it all and it might just end up costing him it all as Miku slowly rises back to her feet…AND SHE DELIVERS A SOCCER STYLE KICK TO THE FACE AS LOREY WAS ON HIS KNEES, AND SHE PICKS HIM UP AND HOOKS THE ARMS GOING FOR “STARFALL!!” AND IT CONNECTS AS MIKU DELIVERS THE VERTEBREAKER BEFORE SLOWLY FLIPPING HIM ON HIS BACK AND MAKING THE COVER!!

OOOOOONNNNNNEEEEEEE!!!

TTTWWWWWWWOOOOOOOO!!!

TTTTTTHHHHHRRRRREEEEEEE!!!

Rich Russillo: THE REFEREE SPOTS KOREY’S FOOT UNDER THE BOTTOM ROPE!! I don’t know if that was luck or awareness but either way, the match goes on while Miku just looks on annoyed before shaking her head. Miku doesn’t waste any time as she drags the lifeless body of Korey to the middle of the ring and picks him up by the head – AND MAYBE KOREY WAS PLAYING POSSUM THERE AND HE GRABS HER HEAD AND LOCKS IN A GUILLOTINE CHOKEHOLD!! Korey may have just picked the perfect time and what is Miku going to do in order to escape this?!

James Peters: KOREY IS TRYING TO CHOKE THE ABSOLUTE LIFE OUT OF MIKU HERE AS MIKU DROPS DOWN TO A KNEE TRYING TO REACH OUT FOR THE ROPES EVEN THOUGH SHE’S A BIT FAR AWAY TO REACH THEM! Korey may have this won here….MAYBE NOT AS MIKU STANDS UP AND RUNS DRIVING KOREY INTO THE CORNER CAUSING HIM TO LET GO OF THE GUILLOTINE! Now it’s Miku who throws punches before sitting him up on the top rope once more! MIKU DELIVERS A KICK TO THE SIDE OF HIS HEAD AS SHE QUICKLY CLIMBS UP TOP WITH HIM…AND SHE DELIVERS A HEADSCISSORS FROM THE TOP ROPE AS KOREY LANDS FLAT ON HIS BACK! KOREY STUMBLES BACK TO HIS FEET FAST BEFORE TURNING AROUND – AND NOW A RUNNING KNEE STRIKE TO THE FACE FROM MIKU AS SHE GOES FOR ANOTHER COVER!!

OOOOOONNNNNNEEEEEEE!!!

TTTWWWWWWWOOOOOOOO!!

TTTTTTHHHHHRRRRREEEEEEE!!!

Rich Russillo: ARE YOU KIDDING?!?! Even after all that Korey still manages to survive getting the shoulder up at two and three quarters! The big question is though how much does he truly have left in the tank? Miku again shakes her head on all the punishment Korey has taken but is still fighting with everything he’s got. Miku tries to pick up what is almost like the dead weight of Korey at this point…AND KOREY COUNTERS DELIVERING A BACK BODY DROP! Korey desperately needed that because it gives him a few moments to recover and perhaps try getting back in this match!

Persephone: Can he though? He looks exhausted as he pulls himself up in the corner and he eyes Miku across the ring in the opposite corner…AND HE RUNS AND DELIVERS A BIG BODY SPLASH ON MIKU IN THE CORNER!! Korey just might get building some momentum for himself here as Miku drops down to a knee stunned on where she is…AND THEN AN EXHAUSTED KOREY GOES FOR A ROUNDHOUSE KICK, BUT MIKU DUCKS IT – “CUCK KILLER!!!” THE DOUBLE KNEE FACEBUSTER TAKES DOWN KOREY AND MIKU QUICKLY GOES FOR THE COVER!!

OOOOOONNNNNNEEEEEEE!!!

TTTWWWWWWWOOOOOOOO!!

TTTTTTHHHHHRRRRREEEEEEEE!!!

(Ding! Ding! Ding!)

Bella Braxton: HERE IS YOUR WINNER…MIKKKUUUU SAAAKKAAAAIIIIII!!!

(‘Brooklyn The Hole’ plays as the crowd rains down boos on Miku who doesn’t care in the slightest. She returns to her feet, and she has her hand raised in victory.)

Bella Braxton: HERE IS YOUR WINNER…MIKKUUUUUUU SAAKKAAIIIIIIII!!!!

James Peters: Miku gets her hand raised in a victory that was needed for her after how Tempest went down. She gets on the right track here tonight with an impressive win against a very game Korey Gaines who you can’t take nothing away from here tonight. Congratulations to Miku on the hard fought win and I wonder what’s next in her future.

Rich Russillo: Whatever it is, I don’t think we need to wonder whether or not she’ll do good. She just bounced back after a huge loss, and I’m sure things are only going to get better from there.

(The final shot is of Miku making her way to the back while Korey looks disappointed from the outside.)

(As Voltage returns, the camera fades to the stage. After a few seconds ‘A Cruel Angel’s Thesis’ by Yoko Takahashi hits, and this causes all of the fans in the arena to cheer for Usagi Senshi, who after a few seconds begins to walk out to the stage following her match against Minerva at Tempest. Usagi holds a microphone in her hand, and after a little while she begins to walk down the ramp as the cheers only continue.)

James Peters: Usagi Senshi has shown a lot of potential as a singles competitor, and she showed that in her match against Minerva at Tempest. In the end however, things did not go her way as Minerva would leave that match with the victory.

Rich Russillo: Yeah, though we can’t really fault Usagi for that. She wasn’t up against just anybody, Minerva is one of the very best here in the entirety of EAW. Defeating her is no easy feat no matter who you are, and I’m sure Usagi learned that much.

Persephone: Personally I’m sure Rex McAllister would be able to beat Minerva, but I understand that not everyone has the talent that he does. Usagi just did as good as she could have. 😃

(Usagi Senshi enters the ring, and after a little while the fans begin to quiet down, allowing Usagi to speak.)

Usagi Senshi: At Tempest, I had one of the biggest matches of my career. I wanted an opportunity to prove myself, and Captain Charisma gave me that and a lot more by putting me up against the former EAW World Champion, the woman who spent the entire first half of this season undefeated, Minerva. I knew that it wasn’t going to be easy. I knew that I was in for one of the toughest challenges I’ve ever had, and I knew that if I wanted to win I had to throw everything I possibly had at her. In the end I did exactly that, but it wasn’t enough. Obviously, I walked into that match hoping that I’d be able to pull off my biggest victory yet. I was hoping that I’d have what it takes to keep Minerva down for the three count, and as the match progressed I was hoping that just one of my moves would be able to get the job done, but it couldn’t. Despite my best efforts I lost. I couldn’t get that huge win. I couldn’t defeat Minerva. I left Tempest with yet another loss, but to be honest, I’m not really hurt by that.

Usagi Senshi: I’ve taken some major losses in my career and a lot of those losses admittedly got the better of me. They really left me disappointed, hurt, frustrated and more, but that’s not how I feel this time. This time I’m proud of what I did against Minerva and I’m proud of myself for coming as far as I have as a singles competitor, and with Pain for Pride coming closer and closer I want more opportunities to keep doing what I just did. I want more opportunities to push myself against the very best and prove that I’m capable of hanging with them, and there’s no better time for me to do that than right now. Pain for Pride is getting closer but there’s still a couple more events coming up before it, and one of those events is Grand Rampage.

(A smile appears on Usagi Senshi’s face as the fans cheer knowing that the Grand Rampage event is approaching.)

Usagi Senshi: The Grand Rampage match is possibly the biggest match of the year. Thirty people enter with the goal of winning and headlining Pain for Pride in a World Championship match. Already so many people have entered themselves into the match, and now I’m doing it, too!

(The crowd explodes with cheers hearing this.)

Usagi Senshi: Again, I know that this won’t be easy. As if a thirty person match wasn’t already a major challenge, some really talented Elitists are involved with this match. Some of the very best in EAW entered the Grand Rampage this year, but that’s not going to stop me from doing my best. If I win the Grand Rampage match I could make history by being the first woman to win that match, and I’d be doing so just months before a Universal Women’s Championship match at the biggest event of the entire year! That’s not an opportunity I’m going to miss out on, which means that come Grand Rampage you all will be seeing Usagi Senshi at her very best. There’s some really big names in this match but I know I can get the job done, just wait and see.

(Usagi Senshi stops speaking as the cheers continue, but it’s not her entrance music that hits. Instead it’s ‘Ambitionz az a Ridah’ by Tupac. This causes the cheers to grow even louder, and Usagi Senshi’s attention shifts towards the stage. She looks a bit surprised, but there’s a smile on her face considering the respect that she has for TLA. TLA walks out with a microphone in his hand and a grin on his face, and he begins making his way down the ramp as the fans cheer him on.)

James Peters: It looks like TLA has some words for us as well before his match tonight! I can’t say I expected him to interrupt Usagi like this.

Rich Russillo: Me neither, but I guess we’ll see what he has to say very soon! We know that these two have respect for each other and there’s never been much hostility between them, so I’m interested in seeing what’s on his mind.

Persephone: Me too! Take all the time you need TLA!

(TLA enters the ring and walks up to Usagi, and before long TLA begins to speak.)

TLA: Orale West Virginia we out here doing Voltage at its biggest for real! Now y’all best believe that I ain’t out here to be getting all disrespectful. Interrupting mah gurl Usagi like that. Nah she my chica tho you know I got all the respect in the world for Usagi and all them Ice Aces. I can respect that Usagi wants to win a match like Grand Rampage and wants to go on to headline Pain for Pride in a Universal Women’s Championship Match. You know that is a match that I would be wanting to see myself also. Pero the problem is that I gotta come out here and say something now. Cuz while Usagi be having this big grand plans for the Grand Rampage… You know a vato be having some plans of his own. You see there can only be one winner of the Grand Rampage Usagi and I plan for that to be yo boi! La Pantera Sexual is coming to collect and win that Grand Rampage once and for all and make my way down that long entrance ramp to main event Pain for Pride for a second year in a row!

(The crowd cheers as TLA points to the Pain for Pride sign hanging from the rafters in the arena.)

TLA: That is why I am out here Usagi to tell you face to face that ain’t nobody is going to stop me from going all the way and accomplishing what I gots to accomplish. I have been fighting my way back up the ladder on this brand all season long and the way I see it this is the last chance that I have to get back to where I know that I belong. If I am eliminated from the Grand Rampage then who knows where I am going to end up. For all I know at Pain for Pride the Voltage suits working for Disney will be throwing me into a Chipotle Cage Classic or something wild like that. I ain’t about to let that happen. This is Pain for Pride season and y’all best recognize that the finest luchador this planet gots to offer going to collect on what I been waiting for all year long and walk into the main event of Pain for Pride one more time and this time the end result going to be different. This time it going to be TLA walking out as El Campeon!!!

(The cheers continue, and despite TLA’s promise to defeat Usagi Senshi along with everyone else in the Grand Rampage match, Usagi has a smile on her face as she continues to speak.)

Usagi Senshi: Well, I’m looking forward to seeing you try. You know I have a lot of respect for you TLA, and when Grand Rampage comes around you’re going to be one of the big names I have to keep up with. You’re a two-time World Champion and this isn’t gonna be your first time in the Grand Rampage match so you have more experience in it than I do, but that doesn’t mean I’m gonna give up. I know it’s gonna be tough but I never go down without a fight and come Grand Rampage I don’t plan to go down at all. A match like this is the perfect opportunity for me to prove myself but I’m aiming way higher than that, and I plan to give it my all once I enter that ring. Main eventing Pain for Pride and fighting to win my first Championship, my first World Championship at that, it’s a big deal. That’s not even mentioning the history I could make by winning this match, so I don’t plan to let anything get in my way at Grand Rampage. Not even you.

(The cheers continue for Usagi as TLA rolls out of the ring and grabs a steel chair before re-entering the ring looking to bash Usagi over the head with it.)

TLA: Nah nah I just be playin’. I would expect nothing less. Si si claro you know that when we be stepping into that ring for the Grand Rampage it be erryone for they selves. Ain’t no telling what is going to happen this Grand Rampage be wildin’. You not going to let TLA get in yo way at the Grand Rampage but you ain’t even know that. Cuz if we in the same ring together if we ain’t eliminated up to that point chica. You best believe imma be getting all up in yo way! You gonna have to overcome the realest and rawest vato that this ring has ever seen! That ain’t going to be no easy task and I ain’t going to allow it to happen! At Grand Rampage imma be coming through and imma be running through anybody that they put in my way. Cuz you right main eventing Pain for Pride is a big deal. I done did it before and imma do it again. Years back I came within one elimination of winning the Grand Rampage and ever since then it has left a sore taste in my mouth. Cuz deep down I know that I can win this match and that is what I am going to have to do to remind the entire roster and the entire world just who the top dawg on Voltage be.

Usagi Senshi: I don’t doubt you. I’m sure that you’re capable of winning the Grand Rampage match and I wouldn’t even be surprised if you made it that far this year, but I don’t want to miss out on another opportunity to not just make a name for myself, but reach the top and show what the Ice Aces as a whole are really capable of. You have all the reason in the world to want to win this match, and to believe you’re capable of winning it, but that’s not going to stop me from giving this match my all. No matter who else ends up in this match, I’m going to make sure that I’m capable of taking them out and making it to the main event of Pain for Pride. It’s gonna be a great experience no matter what, but I’m going to do everything I can to make sure that my work pays off.

TLA: Looks like both of us be in this to win this. Pero sólo habrá un ganador. I be looking forward to seeing who it is going to be. ¡Que gane el mejor!

(Usagi nods hearing this, and the two shake hands as ‘Ambitionz az a Ridah’ begins to play once again.)

James Peters: The Grand Rampage match is becoming more and more exciting as each show progresses. Usagi Senshi and TLA are both so talented, and I have no doubt that they’ll both do great!

Rich Russillo: Same here. They both seem excited for this match, and they have all the reason to be.

Persephone: Yes. I’m sure it will be a lot of fun. Very exciting. 🙂

(Usagi Senshi leaves the ring, but TLA remains in the ring waiting in his corner as his match is up next.)

(Promotional ad for Grand Rampage, featuring the thirty-person Grand Rampage match.)

(Voltage returns to ringside, where TLA is seen in the ring ready for his upcoming match. He is already in the ring due to his encounter with Usagi Senshi before the break, and he has a smirk on his face as he waits for his opponent.)

Bella Braxton: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN .. THE FOLLOWING CONTEST IS SET FOR ONE FALL!!

Crowd: ONE FALL!!!

Bella Braxton: ALREADY IN THE RING.. FROM TLAXCALA, MEXICO… WEIGHING IN AT 210 POUNDS… HE IS “THE BADDEST HOMBRE ON THE PLANET”…T….L….A!!!!!!!!

James Peters: You can tell he’s still hurting after going to war against Sheridan last week but we know it’s not going to be an issue for him here tonight focused on picking up a win and bouncing back.

Rich Russillo: I will likely never look at Taco Bell the same way again.

Persephone: Why eat there anyway?

James Peters: TLA is preparing for the Grand Rampage match, let’s see if he can get a win leading up to it.

(“Ready To Die” by The Notorious B.I.G plays as the crowd boos upon seeing Lucas Johnson. He pays no attention to it only focused on the task at hand. He stares directly at his opponent in the ring, and he doesn’t spend very long on the stage, walking down the ramp as he seems to be ready for his match against TLA.)

Bella Braxton: AND HIS OPPONENT… LONG ISLAND, NEW YORK… WEIGHING IN AT 204 POUNDS… HE IS “THE EMPEROR OF VIOLENCE”… LUUUCASSSS JOOHHNNNNSOOONNNNN!!!!

Rich Russillo: Visiting from Showdown, he doesn’t seem to have a lot of luck going his way lately over on the blue brand but hey, maybe he just needed a chance of scenery. All it takes is one win and tonight he has a huge chance against a Hall of Famer!

James Peters: That’s true. Upset wins happen all the time and they can always happen no matter who you are. This could possibly be a big win for Lucas.

(Ding! Ding! Ding!)

James Peters: And this Showdown vs Voltage showcase match is underway as they both circle the ring waiting on the other to make the first move – AND LUCAS LIKE A BAT OUT OF HELL RUNS AND DRIVES TLA INTO THE CORNER! SHOULDER THRUSTS FROM LUCAS BEFORE THROWING PUNCHES AT THE HEAD…AND THEN TRYING TO CHOKE HIM OUT BEFORE THE REFEREE STEPS IN TO CREATE A LITTLE BIT OF SEPARATION! Lucas is forced to back up as he’s come out swinging here in the early goings!

Rich Russillo: Indeed he has, and he looks to waste no time in going back on the attack charging at TLA in the corner, BUT TLA STOPS HIM DEAD IN HIS TRACKS WITH A KICK TO THE FACE! Now TLA measures up Lucas as he gets in position – AND TLA HITS A SPRINGBOARD CROSSBRODY FROM THE SECOND TURNBUCKLE! TLA fires up the crowd and has the momentum swinging in his favor as he runs and delivers a leaping dropkick taking Lucas down, and then another one! Lucas stands back up and swings at the head, but TLA ducked it and then delivers an enziguri kick to the side of the head! TLA looks to pick him up, but Lucas uses his ring awareness and rolls out of the ring looking to perhaps get a little breather!

Persephone: BUT HERE COMES TLA WHO DELIVERS A SUICIDE DIVE THROUGH THE MIDDLE ROPE AS LUCAS FALLS BACK INTO THE BARRICADE! TLA is feeling absolutely fired up and feeding off the energy from the crowd as he grabs Lucas to perhaps get him back inside the ring. BUT LUCAS GRABS HIS HEAD AND SLAMS HIM FACE FIRST OFF THE BARRICADE! Lucas caught him a bit off guard with that…AS HE THEN DRIVES TLA BACK FIRST INTO THE RING APRON! Now Lucas tosses him back inside and slides in and quickly picks TLA up off the mat by the head…AND LUCAS GOES FOR A SNAP DDT AND CONNECTS DRILLING TLA’S HEAD INTO THE MAT AND THEN GOES FOR THE FIRST COVER OF THIS MATCH!

OOOOOONNNNNNEEEEEEE!!!

TTTWWWWWWWOOOOOOOO!!!

James Peters: And an early kickout from the former World Champion, and Lucas goes right back on the attack as he puts TLA in a grounded sleeper hold!! Lucas has the hold in as tight as he can, but it isn’t long before TLA gets up to a vertical base and then drives the elbow into the midsection before throwing Lucas into the ropes, TLA leapfrogs over him as Lucas runs off the opposite ropes – AND THEN TLA TAKES DOWN HIM DOWN WITH AN ARM DRAG BEFORE LUCAS STANDS UP IN THE CORNER…AND HERE COMES TLA WHO DELIVERS A RUNNING DROPKICK RIGHT TO THE FACE, HE RUNS TO THE OPPOSITE CORNER AND RUNS AND DELIVERS A SECOND RUNNING DROPKICK TO THE FACE!!

Rich Russillo: TLA THEN FOLLOWS THAT WITH A BULLDOG IN THE CENTER OF THE RING! He doesn’t go for the cover though, likely knowing it’s gonna take a little more than that as TLA hops up to the second turnbuckle just waiting for Lucas to turn around. He does and….TLA CONNECTS WITH A LEAPING THROWBACK FROM THE SECOND TURNBUCKLE BRINGING LUCAS DOWN TO THE MAT! And this time TLA does go for his first cover!

OOOOOONNNNNNEEEEEEE!!!

TTTWWWWWWWOOOOOOOO!!!

James Peters: And Lucas Johnson gets the shoulder up at two and TLA right away goes back on the attack with trapping Lucas’ head with a headscissors – BUT LUCAS ROLLS THROUGH UP TO HIS FEET AS BOTH COMPETITORS RUN AT ONE ANOTHER…LUCAS CATCHES HIM AND DELIVERS A BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEX! Lucas buys himself a little bit of time to recollect himself and catch his breath as he thinks about what to do next.

Persephone: And Lucas quickly picks TLA from his front, but before we could know what he had in mind, TLA slapped the hands away and grabs the arm of Lucas and pulls him in for a ripcord knee strike right across the bridge of the nose!! TLA now begins to deliver several right and left elbow strikes to the face before Lucas is leaning up against the ropes, and then irish whips Lucas but Lucas counters sending him into the ropes, but TLA slides under his legs before standing and facing his back, TLA bends him back and picks him up by the head – BEFORE DROPPING HIM ON HIS KNEE FOR THE KNEEBREAKER ON THE BACK OF THE HEAD! TLA stands up near the ropes as Lucas is trying to stir back up to his feet on both knees…AND THEN TLA RUNS OFF THE ROPES AND DELIVERS A DROPKICK TO THE SIDE OF HIS HEAD! TLA looks to be in full control of this one as he now thinks of what to do next.

James Peters: TLA then goes to pick Lucas up, and Lucas begins trying to fight back with several shots to the ribs! BUT TLA RETALIATES WITH A MEXICAN UPPERCUT THAT DRIVES LUCAS BACK INTO THE CORNER! AND HERE COMES TLA WITH A FULL HEAD OF STEAM AND HE JUMPS AND DRIVES BOTH OF HIS KNEES INTO THE FACE OF LUCAS, BEFORE THEN FOLLOWING IT UP WITH A MONKEY FLIP AS LUCAS LANDS FLAT ON HIS BACK IN THE CENTER OF THE RING!! TLA then quickly makes his way up to the top turnbuckle and he’s looking to fly here! AND TLA LOOKS TO PERHAPS PUT THIS ONE AWAY EARLY AS HE LEAPS OFF GOING FOR HIS “420” SHOOTING STAR PRESS!!!

Rich Russillo: BUT NOBODY HOME AS LUCAS AVOIDS DISASTER AT THE LAST POSSIBLE SECOND!! Lucas stirs back to his feet seeing TLA on a knee holding his stomach in pain, and he quickly tries to take advantage of this opportunity…AS HE RUNS OFF THE ROPES AND DELIVERS A SHINING WIZARD TO THE BACK OF THE HEAD! LUCAS QUICKLY FLIPS TLA ON HIS BACK AND GOES FOR ANOTHER COVER!!

OOOOOONNNNNNEEEEEEE!!

TTTWWWWWWWOOOOOOOO!!

James Peters: And TLA kicks out again…AND UH OH!! LUCAS IMMEDIATELY TRANSITIONS INTO THE CROSSFACE SUBMISSION! LUCAS IS PUTTING ALL THE PRESSURE HE CAN ON IT AS TLA BEGINS TO TRY AND MAKE HIS WAY OVER TO THE ROPES! TLA IS BEGINNING TO INCH HIS WAY CLOSER AND CLOSER TO THE ROPES AND HE REACHES OUT AND IS MERE FINGERTIPS AWAY FROM GRABBING IT…BUT LUCAS LETS GO OF THE CROSSFACE LIKELY KNOWING TLA WAS ABOUT TO REACH THE ROPES AND DRAGS HIM BACK TO THE MIDDLE OF THE RING! AND THEN HE IS TRYING TO APPLY A BOSTON CRAB ON TLA BUT CAN’T FLIP TLA ON HIS BELLY! TLA IS FIGHTING IT, BUT HE USES HIS LEGS TO FLIP LUCAS ON HIS BACK BUYING HIMSELF A LITTLE BIT OF TIME!

Rich Russillo: TLA pulls himself up using the ropes – AND LUCAS LOOKS TO GO RIGHT BACK ON THE OFFENSE AS HE CHARGES AT TLA…BUT TLA COUNTERS WITH A BACK BODY DROP SENDING LUCAS OVER THE TOP ROPE TO THE OUTSIDE FLOOR…AND OH, LUCAS LANDED A BIT AWKWARDLY THERE! And TLA eyes the top rope again as he quickly ascends up to the top turnbuckle once more. He waits for Lucas to stand up on the outside….AND TLA GOES FOR HIS “420” SHOOTING STAR ONCE MORE AND THIS TIME IT CONNECTS ON A STANDING LUCAS JOHNSON ON THE OUTSIDE FLOOR!! What amazing elevation there from the former World Champion!

James Peters: And now TLA quickly rolls him back in the ring and climbs up the apron waiting for Lucas to turn around. He finally does and then TLA…TLA SLINGSHOTS HIMSELF THROUGH THE SECOND ROPE AND DELIVERS A SPINNING TORNADO DDT! AND NOW TLA HOOKS THE LEG FOR THE COVER!

OOOOOONNNNNNEEEEEEE!!

TTTWWWWWWWOOOOOOOO!!!

TTTTTTHHHHHRRRRREEEEEEEE!!

Rich Russillo: AND LUCAS STAYS ALIVE!! Lucas just barely got the shoulder up after the flurry TLA just had…AND OH!! TLA GRABS THE ARM AND IMMEDIATELY TRIES TO LOCK IN HIS “CROSSED PATHS” ARMBREAKER!!! BUT LUCAS QUICKLY SCOOTS OVER TO THE BOTTOM ROPE AND HOLDS ONTO IT FOR DEAR LIFE! Pure desperation there from Lucas but it worked as TLA lets go and reaches over the top rope and grabs Lucas by his head…OH! A THUMB TO THE EYE FROM LUCAS AND I’M NOT SURE THE REF SAW IT!!

Persephone: Lucas running off adrenaline quickly ascends up the top rope next to him – AND THEN LEAPS AND TAKES OUT TLA WITH THE CROSSBODY!! Lucas is feeling fired up thinking the momentum is firmly on his side now! He is practically begging for TLA to stand up at this point, AND LUCAS HOOKS BOTH OF THE ARMS OF TLA FROM BEHIND LOOKING TO GO FOR HIS “KILLSWITCH” SKULL CRUSHING FINALE…AND IT CONNECTS AS AN EXHAUSTED LUCAS FLIPS TLA OVER ON HIS BACK AND GOES FOR THE COVER! IS HE GOING TO GET ONE OF THE BIGGEST WINS OF HIS CAREER AND PULL OFF THE UPSET HERE?!

OOOOOONNNNNNEEEEEEE!!!

TTTWWWWWWWOOOOOOOO!!

TTTTTTHHHHHRRRRREEEEEEEE!!!

James Peters: AND TLA THE SHOULDER UP! And Lucas is frustrated as he really thought he had the match won there. Lucas looks like he wants to put the finishing touches on this to ensure TLA is down for good as he is in the corner waiting for TLA to stand and turn to face him! TLA stumbles up and turns around…AND HERE COMES LUCAS WHO GOES FOR “THE LIGHTSWITCH” CLAYMORE KICK!!!

Rich Russillo: BUT NOBODY HOME AS TLA SIDESTEPPED IT!! TLA THEN IMMEDIATELY JUMPS UP AND DRIVES BOTH OF HIS FEET INTO THE HEART OF LUCAS WITH A DOUBLE FOOT STOMP!! TLA takes this time to catch his breath before he eyes Lucas who stumbles back to his feet, AND THEN TLA GOES FOR “THE PIMP SLAP!!” BUT LUCAS BLOCKS IT BEFORE THROWING SEVERAL FOREARM SHOTS TO THE FACE! LUCAS NOW RUNS OFF THE ROPES – AND TLA WAS WAITING FOR HIM AS HE HITS HIM WITH HIS “CARTEL KICK!!” Lucas drops down to a knee likely not having a clue on where he is and TLA runs off the ropes…AND THEN DELIVERS A RUNNING STIFF KNEE RIGHT TO THE FACE BEFORE MAKING THE COVER AGAIN ON LUCAS!!

OOOOOONNNNNNEEEEEEE!!!

TTTWWWWWWWOOOOOOOO!!

TTTTTTHHHHHRRRRREEEEEEEE!!!

Rich Russillo: AND LUCAS IS STILL IN THIS KICKING OUT AT THE LAST POSSIBLE MOMENT! TLA stands up thinking on what to do next to perhaps put this match away as he just shrugs his shoulders and then picks Lucas up quickly…AND THEN PLACES HIM BETWEEN THE LEGS AND WE ALL KNOW WHAT HE’S SETTING UP FOR…THE “MEXICAN DESTROYER!!”

Persephone: AND LUCAS BACKS TLA INTO THE CORNER SAVING HIMSELF FOR THE MOMENT!! NOW LUCAS BEGINS TO DRIVE THE ELBOW INTO THE MIDSECTION OF TLA REPEATEDLY, AND THEN HE BACKS UP INTO THE OPPOSITE CORNER AND THEN RUNS WITH A FULL HEAD OF STEAM AT TLA IN THE CORNER – BUT TLA STOPS HIM DEAD IN HIS TRACKS WITH A BOOT TO THE FACE! TLA stands on the second turnbuckle behind him and then launches himself….

James Peters: HE LEAPS OFF AND DELIVERS A HURRICANRANA SENDING LUCAS TO THE OTHER SIDE OF THE RING AS HE PULLS HIMSELF UP IN THE CORNER AND HERE COMES TLA AGAIN WHO DELIVERS A RUNNING DROPKICK TO THE FACE AS LUCAS FALLS DOWN TO THE MAT BELOW, AND TLA IS THINKING TOP ROPE ONCE MORE AS THE CROWD IS GOING CRAZY AND TLA IS FEEDING OFF THIS CROWD’S ENERGY AS HE ASCENDS UP TO THE TOP TURNBUCKLE!! HE GOES FOR “420” AGAIN….AND IT CONNECTS!! THE BEAUTIFUL SHOOTING STAR PRESS FROM TLA AS HE HOOKS THE LEG FOR THE COVER!!

OOOOOONNNNNNEEEEEEE!!!

TTTWWWWWWWOOOOOOOO!!!

TTTTTTHHHHHRRRRREEEEEEEE!!!

Rich Russillo: WHAT?! THE REFEREE SEES LUCAS FOOT ON THE BOTTOM ROPE! TLA can’t help but shake his head at not moving Lucas far enough away from the ropes. He doesn’t waste any time though in picking him up, BUT AN UPPERCUT FROM LUCAS AS TLA STUMBLES BACK A FEW FEET BUT CHARGES AT LUCAS ONCE MORE…BUT LUCAS SIDESTEPS IT AS HE SENDS TLA SHOULDER FIRST INTO THE RING POST THROUGH THE SECOND TURNBUCKLE IN THE CORNER!! LUCAS PULLS TLA OUT OF THE CORNER AND ROLLS HIM UP!!

OOOOOONNNNNNEEEEEEE!!!

TTTWWWWWWWOOOOOOOO!!!

TTTTTTHHHHHRRRRREEEEEEE!!!

Rich Russillo: DID HE GET HIM?! NO HE DIDN’T AS LUCAS BEATS TLA BACK UP TO HIS FEET AND DRIVES HIS KNEE RIGHT INTO TLA’S FACE! TLA now slowly begins stirring back to his feet, and Lucas is waiting on him as…HE HOOKS BOTH OF THE ARMS FOR “KILLSWITCH” FOR THE SECOND TIME – BUT TLA DROPS DOWN TO HIS KNEES AS LUCAS ROLLS FORWARD TO HIS KNEES AND RUNS AT TLA ONCE MORE…BUT TLA COUNTERS WITH A DROP TOE HOLD AS LUCAS LANDS ON THE MIDDLE ROPE! THE FANS ARE CALLING FOR IT AND TLA NOW RUNS OFF THE ROPES LOOKING TO FINALLY PUT THIS AWAY AND GOES FOR HIS “305!!” THE TIGER FEINT KICK!!!

James Peters: BUT OH MY!! LUCAS CAUGHT HIM BY THE LEGS AND BRINGS HIM BACK INSIDE AND HAS THE ANKLE LOCK APPLIED NOW ON TLA!!! TLA MIGHT BE IN SOME TROUBLE HERE AS LUCAS IS JUST TWISTING THAT ANKLE AS HARD AS HE CAN, BUT TLA QUICKLY REVERSES OUT OF IT ROLLING FORWARD SENDING LUCAS INTO THE CORNER AS HE HITS THE TURNBUCKLE FACE FIRST!! Quick thinking there from the Hall of Famer as he stands back up limping a little bit from being in the ankle lock…AND HE RUNS AND DRIVES BOTH KNEES INTO THE BACK OF LUCAS IN THE CORNER!! HE FOLLOWS THAT UP BY HOOKING THE ARMS – TIGER SUPLEX FROM TLA FOLLOWING UP WITH THE BRIDGING PIN!!

OOOOOONNNNNNEEEEEE!!!!

TTTWWWWWWWOOOOOOOO!!!

TTTTTTHHHHHRRRRREEEEEEE!!

Persephone: AND LUCAS IS STILL IN IT AS HE KICKS OUT AND TLA STANDS QUICKLY AND GOES FOR A SHINING WIZARD TO THE BACK OF THE HEAD, BUT OH LUCAS MUST HAVE EYES AT THE BACK OF HIS HEAD BECAUSE HE DUCKS IT AND THEN RUNS UP BEHIND TLA AND GOES FOR A GERMAN SUPLEX – BUT OH MY GOD!! TLA JUST LANDED ON HIS FEET!! LUCAS IS UNAWARE OF THAT AS HE TURNS AROUND AND THEN WALKS RIGHT INTO THE “CARTEL KICK” FROM TLA! TLA nearly knocked his lights out as Lucas looks like he doesn’t have a clue where he is before falling down to the mat and TLA looks as if he knows victory could be near –

James Peters: And TLA feeds off this crowd as he quickly goes up to the top rope once more, balances himself up high and looks down at the body of Lucas Johnson – AND HE LEAPS OFF AND CONNECTS WITH “BURNOUT!!!” THE CORKSCREW 630 SENTON CONNECTS BEAUTIFULLY ON TOP OF LUCAS AND TLA MAKES THE COVER!!!

OOOOOONNNNNNEEEEEEE!!!

TTTWWWWWWWOOOOOOOO!!!

TTTTTTHHHHHRRRRREEEEEEEE!!

(Ding! Ding! Ding!)

(‘Ambitionz az a Ridah’ by Tupac plays as TLA rolls off of Lucas Johnson, all while the fans cheer extremely loudly. After a few seconds, he stands and gets his hand raised in victory to the pleased reaction from the crowd.)

Bella Braxton: HERE IS YOUR WINNER….T…..L…A!!!!!!!

James Peters: The Hall of Famer picks up the win representing Voltage in impressive fashion getting a little bit of momentum his way after falling up short at Tempest last week.

Rich Russillo: An impressive fight from Lucas Johnson here tonight who falls short but shouldn’t hang his head. Congratulations to TLA on his victory here tonight on Voltage.

(The final shot is of TLA celebrating his win on the top turnbuckle while Lucas Johnson looks on, disappointed from the ramp. From there Voltage fades to black.)

(Sunday Night Voltage fades back into a shot of the backstage area, showing none other than Sofia Clarke standing by with a smile on her face and a microphone in her hand, ready to perform another interview as she quickly spoke up.)

Sofia Clarke: Hello everybody! I hope all of you are enjoying the show so far, as always, I’m Sofia Clarke, and tonight I have a special guest here tonight to conduct an interview with. All of you know her already and it doesn’t take a…detective to figure it out! Get it? My guest joining me tonight is none other than the Specialists Champion ARIA!

(The crowd cheered when they heard ARIA’s name as the camera quickly panned over to the side and showed ARIA standing there with a smile on her face, proudly having the Specialists Championship on her shoulder. She was already in her ring gear for her match later tonight and was definitely in a good mood as she responded when she was announced.)

ARIA: Heeeeeello there everybody! Hello to you too, Sofia! This is my first time having an interview with you. I am both excited and slightly nervous since interviews are interviews, but I am mostly excited!

Sofia Clarke: That makes me very happy to hear, ARIA! It is a pleasure as well having this interview with you, and as you always say, let’s not waste anymore time and let’s jump right into the questions! What are your thoughts after the match that you had with Sierra Everett after Tempest?

ARIA: Two words. Absolute massacre…ok, I am kidding, it really wasn’t that but I had a feeling Sierra would end up disappointing me in some kind of way. She gave me a fight obviously, I won’t deny her there, even though she had said multiple times that she wouldn’t give 100 percent, at least her less than 100 was good. Us two almost died after all from falling off the stage like that, but obviously the part that disappointed me was her trying to use the numbers game against me like that, but I knew she would do it and I had Ayu and Usagi ready to go to help me and back me up, and even though she had a few tricks up her sleeve at the end, they weren’t any match for my drive to knee her head right off of her shoulders, and I was able to defend the Specialists Championship successfully. I was hoping I could help Sierra in some way like I did when fighting against Lexi, but after the match, hearing what she had to say, I knew it was too good to be true. But oh well, what are you going to do about it?

Sofia Clarke: Well, tonight, you are going up against Sierra, Candice and Halsey, the new group called the #DisneyBesties, do you have any last words to say to them before the match?

ARIA: I said what I needed to say before but I don’t mind driving the point home here, I’ve already had my fair share of history with Sierra and the members of the “Disney Besties” and honestly, I want to believe that this mess with them is nearly over. It is just a headache that doesn’t go away having to deal with all of these women, who have been stuck on our backs for almost this entire Season simply because we didn’t want to lay down and let someone like Eden walk over us. And if you didn’t notice before, yeah, I am very much glad she is stuck in Disney heaven in France or wherever she got stuck in so now instead of dealing with her, we have to deal squarely with her previous cronies for maybe like the 3rd time at this point if I’m correct in assuming, because Ayu and Usagi dealt with them at Road to Redemption and proved themselves. I beat Candice and Sierra all by myself as well, and now us three, we are going to get rid of them once and for all. And even though it is a shame Halsey thought it would be a good idea to join up with them and dry up all of the goodwill that she had left, she will end up being a victim of circumstance and we will put her down on the mat as well. At Tempest I managed to defeat Sierra Everett in the same match that she wanted, with the stipulation that she added. In the end, none of Sierra’s tricks stopped me from retaining and proving that her way of thinking is flawed by design, so now that Sierra’s chances of becoming Champion have dropped, all that is left is for the Ice Aces to put the three of them away for good tonight. Get them off our backs and let them continue to bully Ronan Malosi because even though they can pick on him and feel like they are heroes slaying a gigantic dragon in a fairytale book, her fabricated Disney trademarked bestie alliance doesn’t compare to our own love that we have for each other, for our undying friendship, for wrestling and for our names to never be forgotten!

Sofia Clarke: Good to hear those motivated words from you, ARIA, but do you have that same motivation set for your next defense? As we all know already, after your match with Sierra Everett, Dynasty Elitist Milli Banks came out after your match and challenged you for the Specialists Championship, which you accepted and now you two will go against each other at Grand Rampage. What are your thoughts on that as well?

ARIA: As I said before as well, hearing what Milli had to say on Dynasty a few days ago about her wanting to challenge me before Tempest happened, I wasn’t surprised that she ended up appearing after my match to do exactly what she said. In fact, I respect that she didn’t attack me, she didn’t wait for me to go to her, she appeared right after and was totally straight with me, heck, I really respect Milli Banks. I said she was cool when we faced at Road to Redemption and she is still a cool person to me to this day. She is a solid performer. She is consistent with what she does. She doesn’t let people walk over her easily. She will be one of my toughest competitors and I am really looking forward to having that match with her, you know?

Milli has had opportunities at the title before but she has been screwed out of it every time, obviously by the supposed Queen Bees and their annoying presence, and now that she was able to get them off their back too, she now gets to show everyone what she can really do now that she is up against someone that won’t have to rely on tricks like that. The thought of the match is very interesting to me considering it will be my most challenging defense yet, but despite all of this I am not going to walk into Grand Rampage to hand Milli a crowning moment, she is going to have to earn it. I am not finished with the Specialists Championship and I want to be the best Champion I can possibly be. As I said before, getting this title means a lot to me than other people due to all of the hardships and obstacles I had to face in my journey to reaching the championship. I might have two defenses already under my belt, but I am not letting those be the only ones that I get. I plan to get many, many more and continue to prove why I am called an Ice Ace and a Sacred Detective who is willing to show up and show out. I welcome a challenge like Milli, and when we arrive at Grand Rampage, I am not laying down so easily. I plan to defeat her.

Sofia Clarke: Strong words from the Specialists Champion herself, willing to continue to defend her belt and just not stop there. Any last words that you want to tell us, ARIA?

ARIA: Drink responsibly. Ok but seriously, I hope that all of you stay safe out there and continue to believe in your hopes and dreams. I know it is a corny message but it is a message that a lot of people need. But that is it, I have to go now kick some Disney butt, I hope all of you enjoy the show and stay alive!

(ARIA posed and did her signature finger guns at the camera before letting out a small laugh and quickly saying goodbye to Sofia Clarke, walking away and getting herself ready for her match as the camera panned back solely to Sofia Clarke.)

Sofia Clarke: You heard it from the Specialists Champion herself, and as for me? I’m Sofia Clarke, I have to go now myself! Let’s continue on with the show!

(Sofia Clarke then waved goodbye with a smile on her face and just like that, the show faded away.)

(The scene fades back in to show the backstage area of the WVU Coliseum, more specifically the camera focusing on The locker room of the Ice Aces, Usagi Senshi, Ayu Megumi, and ARIA. The shot gives a glimpse inside the locker room, and right now the only two people seen at the moment are Usagi and Ayu. Both of them are preparing for their match later tonight alongside their partner ARIA going up against the #DisneyBesties, but it’s clear that especially after what’s already happened on the show, that they still have a lot to talk about with one another. At the moment they look ready to go and clearly have their focuses on the task at hand so that they can secure a victory, but despite that it seems like right now Ayu’s mind is on something else that she can’t seem to shake. She looks over to Usagi, trying to clear her throat to get her attention before breaking the silence between the two and beginning to speak.)

Ayu Megumi: So… Are we finally going to talk about Grand Rampage? I apologize if this isn’t the right time, Usagi-chan.

(Usagi stops from her training and pauses in place, sighing deeply upon hearing what her girlfriend had to say. Earlier in the night she announced her plans to participate in the Grand Rampage match, and last week on Friday Night Dynasty Ayu found out her entrant number in the match itself during one of the drawing sessions. She knew that at some point they needed to talk about this, and knew that it was going to be sooner rather than later for the both of them. After a long moment of silence, Ayu begins to elaborate.)

Ayu Megumi: What happens if it comes down to the two of us…?

(Usagi turns her head toward her, taking a moment before looking to respond.)

Usagi Senshi: Then we’ll have to do what we have to do, it’s every person for themselves, I don’t expect you to take it easy on me and I hope you won’t either.

(Usagi continues to train, looking for that to be the end of it, but Ayu doesn’t seem to be done with this conversation just yet as she continues to speak even further.)

Ayu Megumi: I have done what I can to sacrifice myself for you on multiple occasions, but this time around I entered the Grand Rampage match to show everyone what I’m capable of on my own, not as a member of the Ice Aces. Usagi-chan, I love you, and I hope that there are no hard feelings between the two of us with this in mind, but it isn’t about just showing it for you anymore. Right now, I’m going to make sure that I do this for myself.

(Usagi stops once more, nodding her head slowly as she begins to approach Ayu, giving her full attention toward her.)

Usagi Senshi: I understand, and I think that we both know whatever happens in that match isn’t going to come between the two of us. But I also want you to understand that I have plans myself. For me it’s more than just proving myself and showing that I’m capable of succeeding. Tempest was a great start for me, even in defeat, but I also want to make sure that it’s more than just a good showing in the Grand Rampage match, no, I want to be the first woman ever to win it. More than that, it’ll lead to me on the marquee at Pain For Pride, and I want to make sure that I accomplish my dream of becoming the Universal Women’s Champion once and for all.

Ayu Megumi: I know, I get that because I want to do the same thing as well. And while I would love to live in a reality where both of us are able to get what we want, with both of us being in this match, that means that only one of us can win the entire thing. I want to see you succeed, more than anything in the world, but especially at this moment I’m going to make sure that it’s me.

(Usagi, after listening to what Ayu has to say with her sharing her ambitions, nods her head. Something that she appreciates is the two of them allowing themselves to be so open with one another and noted feelings get in the way of what they want out of the Grand Rampage match. They’re partners to the end but despite that they know that they have a job to do on their own and are not going to let the other get in the way, that’s how the business goes. She opens her mouth, looking to continue the conversation, but before she can do so the door begins to slightly creak open, leaving both of them to break away and look toward it.)

ARIA: Heyyyyyy guysssssssss… I hope I’m not interrupting anything! :lupe:

(The camera goes over to show the Specialists Champion ARIA begins to slip in through the entrance and into the locker room. She has her title around her waist with her ring gear on while she looks awkwardly at the two of them, like she’s heard something that she wasn’t supposed to hear. It’s hard to tell whether or not she was listening in on the conversation that they were having about the Grand Rampage match, but knowing her she probably was, and knowing that, Ayu and Usagi greet her with light smiles on their faces to assure her that everything is just fine for tonight.)

Usagi Senshi: No, you’re not actually. Let’s talk about this tag match tonight…

(Usagi takes a seat down at a chair while Ayu does the same, ARIA giving a cheeky smile as she makes her way toward them. The three Ice Aces begin to talk but before the camera can listen in on the conversation Sunday Night Voltage begins to fade away to elsewhere.)

(Voltage fades back in, with the camera focusing on the backstage area of the WVU Coliseum, more specifically the office of Sunday Night Voltage Commissioner Captain Charisma. He’s seated behind his desk doing paperwork, enjoying the rare moments of quiet that he gets in between all the chaos on his brand. Not long into it though he hears a knock at his door which quickly perks him up.)

Captain Charisma: Come on in!

(The door slowly opens up and the shot goes over to reveal Sheridan Muller, who the crowd cheers loudly for. She walks into the office and toward Captain Charisma’s desk as he stands up and greets her with a smile on his face.)

Captain Charisma: Sheridan, what a surprise! Congratulations on your victory at Tempest last week, now what’s on your mind?

(Sheridan doesn’t waste any time, standing in front of Captain Charisma.)

Sheridan Muller: Remember the favor you promised for winning Brand Warfare? I’m cashing in.

(Captain Charisma is quite surprised about this, even he forgot about the Brand Warfare favors that were given out thanks to Team Voltage’s victory in the match at Territorial Invasion 2022. It seems some people were waiting for the right time to use it, and Sheridan is absolutely no exception to the rule.)

Captain Charisma: Well this should be interesting…

(Sheridan smirks while Captain Charisma nods his head slowly, waiting to hear what she has to say. Before the camera can catch it though, Sunday Night Voltage fades to commercial.)

(A commercial is shown for Subway featuring the current EAW World Heavyweight Champion, Dynasty’s Limmy Monaghan.)

(Sunday Night Voltage comes back to a shot of the arena, with the crowd bustling in anticipation for what’s next in what’s already been a great show so far. They don’t have to wait long, with ‘Amerika’ by Rammstein being heard playing through the speakers. They respond with a mix of cheers and boos while the camera goes over to the stage to show Sheridan Muller begin to make her way out from Gorilla Position. She has a serious expression on her face as she scans around the arena for a moment, before then proceeding to look toward the ring, making her way down the ramp with a microphone already in hand.)

Bella Braxton: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome… ‘THE FLAMESTRESS’… SHERIDAN MULLER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rich Russillo: Sheridan Muller is coming out to the ring tonight hot off the heels of a victory against TLA in a Taco Bell Brawl at the Tempest Marquee Event last week. But it seems like she’s already pushed past that and looked toward the future. As we saw before the commercial break she met with the Voltage Commissioner Captain Charisma and had a favor to ask of him, more specifically a Brand Warfare favor.

James Peters: The details of said Brand Warfare favor remain unknown right now, but it seems like that’s the reason that Sheridan is heading out here tonight. It’s certainly going to be interesting to see what she has in mind, but for right now all I can really say for certain is that it pertains to the Grand Rampage Marquee Event. I think it’s easy to say though that a lot of people are going to be tuning into here what she has to say.

Persephone: Not me, zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz… Monotonous robot doesn’t have anything good to say, what makes you think I’m going to pay attention now? Get a grip, James.

(Sheridan makes her way up the steel steps and onto the apron, entering through the ropes before standing at the center of the ring for a moment. She paces around while ‘Amerika’ begins to come to a close, and she brings her microphone up to her mouth and begins to speak.)

Sheridan Muller: Reckless Wiring 2022, you could say that was where a lot started for me. It was the first Marquee Event I participated in since my return, and I was definitely looking to make a statement. Over the years a lot of people had forgotten the name Sheridan Muller and most importantly what she could bring to the table, and I was looking to reassert my dominance and make it known that I wasn’t going to just be stepped over like the rest of the Elitists that walked the same path that I had. That meant facing some of the very best that the Dynasty brand had to offer in terms of competition, and Dr. Bethany Blue fit that quota. She had just come off of a career defining Empress of Elite victory and was en route to becoming the Universal Women’s Champion somewhere down the line, and I figured that she was the perfect person to test my talents against. She was dismissive of it at first, but ultimately she gave in and a match was made official for the event in a Fight Pit match. I’m sure we all know how that went, I’d much rather not shed light on the matter, but I lost, plain and simple.

Sheridan Muller: Even though that did happen, there was something to gain out of that, and that was the respect and admiration of a fellow Elitist who I could give the same props to. We laid it all on the line at Reckless Wiring and came out of it better Elitists than we were walking into it regardless of the result. It was a friendship like no other, and with that friendship came one of the most dominant tag teams that this company has seen in recent memory with The Prescription. Fresh off the heels of Pain For Pride and being drafted to the same brand with one another here on Voltage, we knew now more than ever that this was the time to do it and everyone knew that we meant business. Right out of the gate in the first Marquee Event of the Season we won the Unified Tag Team Championships, in our first attempt might I add since it takes multiple tag teams multiple attempts to accomplish such a task. We reigned prosperously and dominated not just the tag division, but the singles division respectively as well. Even when Eden Sinclair pitted us against one another at Wicked Games we pushed any form of animosity that people assumed that we were going to have away and laid it all out there once again in one of our second matches which was contested under 30 minute Ironwoman rules. A match which I came out victorious in might I add, in case people have forgotten.

Sheridan Muller: But then getting closer to the present moment, everything was beginning to crumble. With a Unified Tag Team Championship defense against Soul Food Sunday at Road To Redemption on the horizon, I took the opportunity to challenge Sienna Jade for the Universal Women’s Championship the following week at the Christmas show. That wasn’t very well received by Bethany, and she believed that I took my eye off the ball and was ignoring the fact that we were Champions with titles to defend for some odd reason. She thought that I wasn’t a competent Elitist and that I didn’t know where my priorities lied, even though I made it apparent that I knew that there was a time and place to worry about both titles at a separate time. She wasn’t buying it though for whatever reason, and to cut right to the chase, we lost the Tag Titles that night. Then when I unfortunately failed to win the Universal Women’s Championship the following week, she didn’t waste much time staking her claim afterward to the reigning Champion Sienna, kicking me while I was down.

Sheridan Muller: So it’s safe to say that I’m unhappy with her, and The Prescription as of late have not been on the best terms. While I’ve been doing my own thing, I’ve unfortunately been met with the displeasure of watching her reign with the title that I believe I deserve. I’ve said from the very beginning that I am a World Champion level Elitist and I will fight through anyone to get there, and to see that it’s been put on ice and I have to watch my own tag team partner and someone who I called my friend living my dream, it makes me uneasy. Which is why I’m going to make this simple for her, Bethany, there is still a score to be settled between the two of us. You’ve won a match, I’ve won one as well, it’s safe to say that a match to break the tie was inevitable. So let’s not beat around the bush any longer, at Grand Rampage, I want Bethany and I want a shot at her Universal Women’s Championship-

(‘Somebody Get Me A Doctor’ by Van Halen begins to play through the speakers, making it apparent that Sheridan was not going to need to wait very long for an answer to her challenge, as the crowd reacts with a mixed reaction for Universal Women’s Champion Dr. Bethany Blue who’s seen making her way out to the stage. She has her title wrapped firmly around her waist and a microphone already in her hand, not making it very discrete that she’s displeased to hear what she’s hearing right now. She begins to make her way down the ramp and slides into the ring, getting into the face of Sheridan while ‘Somebody Get Me A Doctor’ begins to come to a close and Bethany begins to speak.)

Dr. Bethany Blue: I can handle the excuses, I’ve had to listen to them for months. But to pin your own failures on me and follow that up by saying I shouldn’t be the Champion because I’m apparently living out your dream is pathetic. You may think that this is you trying to put yourself out there for a Universal Women’s Championship shot, but the only thing I’m seeing out of you by doing all of this is something that I’ve seen all along, and that’s jealousy. You’re jealous of what I’ve been able to accomplish my entire career, all because you were unable to replicate it yourself. It’s not a case of me taking opportunities away from you, because you said it yourself, The Prescription made it known that we had tag team and singles ambitions that we were gunning for. It’s a case of you not being able to accept the fact that you haven’t been good enough to get the job done. And maybe if you were I would’ve been dethroning you for this title instead of Sienna Jade. Maybe you going behind my back and trying to get your own opportunities knowing full and well we had titles to defend would’ve actually worked out, but it hasn’t. And it isn’t anybody’s fault but your own and you know it.

Sheridan Muller: It’s like I said before, a lot of people have forgotten what I myself am capable of inside the squared circle. Before my return I was already an accomplished Elitist who was at the very top of her game before she left, and the time in between gave me the opportunity to hone that skill and make myself the very best at what I do. I’m never going to deny my own talents and abilities and you know yourself what I’m able to do inside that ring. So to say that I’m unable to become a World Champion at the present moment is silly of you to assume. Sure I’ve had a handful of opportunities that just haven’t worked out, but I’m never going to let that define me and my career trajectory going forward. I become better in defeat just as anyone else would, and I know that I am more than deserving of the position that I gun for. You seem to forget that I’ve beaten you before and I’ll be more than happy to do it again when the time comes.

Dr. Bethany Blue: This is getting ridiculous, do you hear yourself right now? It’s been the same old stuff out of you for months now, do you ever get tired of it? Let’s get this out of the way before I have to hear it again, yes you beat me at Wicked Games. You beat me at the last second in a 30 minute Ironwoman match and I bet you feel proud about it. But I also beat you at Reckless Wiring, and unlike you I haven’t gone around tooting my own horn for it while I very well could’ve. It doesn’t take away the fact that we’re one-to-one in singles competition and if I was given another opportunity I could’ve very easily made it two-to-one in my favor. But you refuse to accept that and have been stuck in your own bubble because it’s the only way that you can make yourself believe that you have what it takes to take me out, furthermore for the Universal Women’s Championship.

(Bethany unbuckles her title from her waist and holds it in her hand before slinging it over her shoulder, looking at Sheridan.)

Dr. Bethany Blue: It would be very easy to decline your challenge toward me for Grand Rampage, I have a very good case as to why you don’t deserve it and I feel absolutely no pity making you wait in line like everyone else. But you’re very lucky that I’ve been waiting for a third match between the two of us for a long time now, just as you have. We’ve been wanting this for a long time regardless of the circumstances, and I’d be a fool not to give that to you just so I can shut you up once and for all. You want a Universal Women’s Championship opportunity at Grand Rampage? Then you can have it.

(The crowd cheers loudly at this major announcement, and Sheridan can’t help but smirk in response.)

Sheridan Muller: I expected nothing less out of you, Bethany. That’s one thing that I can commend you on if anything, you’re a fighting Champion, even if that does lead you to your own demise. I think I’ve more than proven though that Reckless Wiring is behind me, and the only reason that I focus on Wicked Games the way that I do is because it was at a point in our friendship where we knew one another in and out and brought over our experience from our previous encounter. Beating you even if it was by a hair still means something, and it also means that I can do it again, doesn’t matter if you have that title around your waist or not. But enough about that, I got what I wanted anyway. But I will admit that I haven’t been very upfront with you about this entire situation.

Dr. Bethany Blue: And what does that mean?

Sheridan Muller: I bet you’re wondering what that favor was?

(Bethany goes silent for a moment, she does know about the Brand Warfare favor that Sheridan cashed in and also knows that it wasn’t to get this match, but it definitely pertains to it in some form. Sheridan thought ahead, and has the advantage in this matter.)

Sheridan Muller: I cashed in my favor to choose the stipulation for our match.

(The crowd comes alive for this, as stipulations have played a major part in their last two encounters inside the ring.)

Dr. Bethany Blue: Okay, what is it?

(Sheridan waits for a moment before slowly shaking her head.)

Sheridan Muller: I guess you’ll have to wait and see.

(Sheridan drops her microphone down to the ground and begins to take her leave, while ‘Amerika’ is heard playing through the speakers again. Bethany turns around and watches her leave, clearly unhappy with how everything has unfolded and being left on hold by Sheridan, not even knowing what the stipulation for their match at Grand Rampage is going to be. The last shot seen is Sheridan disappearing through the backstage area without a second glance while Sunday Night Voltage begins to fade into a commercial.)

(Commercial for Starbucks featuring Ronan Malosi and Jake Smith, who demand that you buy their drinks today!)

(Voltage returns from commercial and fades to the backstage area. The location is unknown, as the only thing that can be seen is a pile of equipment. A pair of slim, shapely legs paired with a pair of tartan print combat boots are seen dangling from one of the equipment boxes. As the camera pans up to reveal a short, black pleated skirt, white long sleeved crop top, and eventually an all too familiar face, the fans watching in the crowd can be heard giving off a mixed reaction. Victorious earlier in the night against Korey Gaines, Miku Sakai winks at the camera and blows her fans a kiss. She’s showered and changed from earlier, and she’s not bothered to cover her battle scars from Tempest with make-up. She wants to show them off. She’s proud of the effort she put in against Hikari Kanno, her former best friend. And now, with this time given to her, she wants to make sure everyone knows that they’re going to be seeing her time and again for the foreseeable future.)

Miku Sakai: How perfect did I look earlier tonight when I beat the crap out of that weirdo skateboarder and picked up my second victory in three matches since returning?

(Miku grins because she knows she put on an all-star performance against Gaines and that he never really stood a chance against her.)

Miku Sakai: Earlier this week, I spoke pretty candidly about what happened during Tempest and the results of the Hardcore Championship match. Trust me, it’s annoying as hell to see Hikari with that title still in her possession but I’m not about to feel down and out about the match itself. I had her on the ropes. I made her feel every bit of anguish that she put me through. It does suck that I couldn’t rip that precious title from her greedy hands, but in due time. I’m not done with Hikari and when I spit in her face, I feel like I made that perfectly clear. I don’t want to shake her hand. I don’t want to make up with her. If anything, I want to beat the shit out of her and the next time we face off, I plan to leave her for dead. I know that’s totally harsh but I literally don’t care. That woman, and I use that term very loosely, put me through Hell and caused my life to spiral out of control.

(A sigh escapes from Miku’s lips.)

Miku Sakai: That’s a big reason why I asked for this time tonight. I opened up a bit during Tempest, and explained some of the things I went through while I rehabbed my injuries and tried to deal with the emotional turmoil that comes along with losing a relationship. I know plenty of you were surprised that I would be so open about my journey to get back here to EAW, because in the past, I’ve gone above and beyond to crucify other people who have shown even a sliver of weakness. Losing Hikari was tough for me. It was a bitter pill I had to swallow. The pain was obvious and it took a long time for it to go away. That along with the physical pain I was in led me to develop an addiction and become one thing I never wanted to be, which is a statistic. For someone who I once loved to try and use that against me was a whole other level of pathetic, and that sums up exactly what Hikari Kanno has become. This is why I am choosing to be honest about what I went through because I know how people are. They can and will use anything they can get their hands on to their advantage, but I will not let anyone make me feel less than because once upon a time I was an addict.

Miku Sakai: It took time to rise above that and find myself again. Even as I struggled to get clean and work my way back, I went through some things. Deportation became a real possibility and if I lost my right to work in the United States, my goal of returning to EAW and picking up where I left off wouldn’t happen. That was a huge wake-up call for me and I became a stronger, even better Miku if you can believe that. I got cleared to return and Captain Charisma was the first person to shake my hand and welcome me back. I knew I wanted Hikari first, and Kylie Grace became a casualty of that. Now that Hikari knows I’m back and she won’t send me packing a second time, I want to pick up where I left off. I want to remind everyone that I’m THAT bitch, the true breakout star of IDOL-GUN. My eyes are set on the Universal Women’s Championship, as well as on whoever wants to stand up and try to make a name off of me. I’m a former Unified Tag Team Champion, Specialists Champion, and Empress of Elite finalist, and that’s nothing to scoff at. I did all of that in a very short amount of time, and who else can say they were able to cement themselves that quickly?

(Before Miku can continue, clapping can be heard off camera. Her head swivels to the right and the camera catches a glimpse at the former Showdown Elitist, James Ranger. Ranger hasn’t been seen for quite some time but earlier in the month he resigned with EAW and as of yesterday, was placed on Voltage. Understandably he had been invited to the arena tonight to watch the show, and as he had been walking through the hall, he had heard Miku speaking.)

Miku Sakai: Uhhh, do I know you?

(James Ranger walks over to Miku and extends his hand. She looks at it like it’s diseased. This draws a chuckle from James.)

James Ranger: I only expect the diehards to remember me considering how short my run here was last time. James Rangers. I just resigned with EAW earlier this month. I couldn’t help but overhear your comments and your candor about your situation is refreshing. There aren’t many people who are willing to speak so freely about their addiction and how difficult it was to overcome it. I’ve no doubt that there are days you want to reach for that bottle and swallow one or two painkillers, but you refrain, and that’s admirable.

(Unable to help herself, Miku rolls her eyes as she jumps off the equipment box. She’s not really interested in speaking to James Ranger and she’s a little irritated that he felt the need to interrupt her time with the EAW Universe.)

Miku Sakai: Imagine thinking I care one way or another about your feelings towards what I have to say. If you were so inspired by me then you should have just stood quietly and marveled at me from a distance. I didn’t need your applause and I certainly didn’t need you to walk up to me and try to touch me. You do realize that I’m not about to just shake anyone’s hand, right?? I don’t know where it’s been. I don’t know if you practice handwashing. COVID isn’t that big of a deal anymore but people still catch it.

James Ranger: Damn. You’re kind of a bitch, aren’t you? I just wanted to give you a genuine compliment. I didn’t expect to have my head bitten off.

Miku Sakai: Hopefully you’ll think twice about interrupting someone again. It’s literally rude.

James Ranger: You know, if everyone on Voltage is as uptight as you, I think I’m going to have a lot of fun on this brand. If there’s one thing I can’t stand, it’s an entitled attitude, and I have no problem teaching people a thing or two about respect. It seems to me that despite your struggles and ups and downs, you haven’t grown as a person, or matured at all.

Miku Sakai: Are you like some expert on me, or something? Are you a stalker? Are you a former simp? That has to be it. You’re an ex-IDOL-GUN simp and you must be a Hikari fan.

James Ranger: I assure you I’m a happily married man, and there is nothing about you worth simping over. I’ll tell you what. Captain Charisma is looking for me to make my in-ring debut next week and it seems to me like you would be a good person for me to defeat upon my return. What do you say?

Miku Sakai: If you want your return to be short-lived, then okay.

(Miku shrugs but she’s still annoyed that James Ranger would interrupt her camera time. After cutting him another disgusted look, she storms off and the scene fades down to ringside.)

(The camera cuts to Bella Braxton in the ring.)

Bella Braxton: THE FOLLOWING CONTEST IS SCHEDULED FOR…ONE FALL!!

(‘Rhapsody in Pink’ by Stela Cole (Clean Version) plays down Candice Blair, Halsey Neel, and Sierra Everett to a negative reaction from fans. The three woman march down to the ring, blocking out any reaction they may receive, and are discussing strategy amongst each during their walk down the ramp. Halsey looks focused on the upcoming match, Sierra looks confident, and Candice looks ready to end things with the Ice Aces.)

Bella Braxton: Introducing first! At a combined weight of 411 pounds… Candice Blair, Halsey Neel and Sierra Everett .. #DISNEYBESTIES!

Persephone: So, that’s the name they decided on? #DisneyBesties?

James Peters: I think it suits them quite well. Besides, it’s fresh start after formerly being known as Team Eden.

Rich Russillo: Well, Team Eden was alongside Ronan Malosi, and of course, Eden Sinclair. Now, they’re alongside Halsey Neel.

James Peters: Halsey holds a victory over the Ice Aces in trios action, and looks to do that again tonight, which would give Sierra and Candice some “much needed” revenge.

(‘Pinky! Pinky!’ by The Idol Formerly Known as LADYBABY blares throughout the arena next, garnering a far more positive reaction from fans. ARIA has the Specialists Championship around her waist, and walks down the ramp alongside Ayu and Usagi, keeping their eyes locked on #DisneyBesties. They have really bad history with the trio, and look to end things against them with a victory as the fans cheer them on, hoping to see them pick up the victory.)

Bella Braxton: And their opponents! Weighing in at a combined weight of 340 pounds…THE ICE ACES!!

James Peters: It’s good to have friends watching your back in the landscape of Elite Answers Wrestling, which proved to be true at Tempest.

Rich Russillo: Yeah, Sierra tried using her friends to score a victory over ARIA, but that plan backfired thanks to Usagi and Ayu.

James Peters: It has to be eating up Sierra inside, knowing she was so close to coming victorious, but JUST managed to come up short.

Rich Russillo: She’s back of the line now, and ARIA sets her focus on Milli Banks at Grand Rampage.

(The referee signals to the bell as both Halsey and Usagi start things off.)

(DING! DING! DING!)

James Peters: The bell has rung, and it’s time. Ice Aces versus #DisneyBesties, an anticipated match here in the WVU Coliseum. West Virginia is mostly leaning towards Ice Aces.

Rich Russillo: Mostly?

James Peters: Alright, all of West Virginia is leaning towards Ice Aces to topple #DisneyBesties. They managed to beat Sierra and Candice at Road to Redemption, despite being outnumbered when the duo had help from Ronan Malosi.

Rich Russillo: Speaking of, they claim Ronan being gone is the reason why they’ll walk out victorious. He’s the anchor that is no longer around their neck. Will it prove to be true? Guess we’re about to find out.

James Peters: Halsey and Usagi are starting things off for their respective teams, and circle one another, not quick to get anything started just yet, sort’ve in that feeling out process. But the action begins shortly as the two initiate with a collar and elbow tie-up in the center of the ring, jockeying for position. Halsey manages to get the early advantage, backing Usagi in the corner, and keeping her there, causing the referee to intervene with a five count. Halsey better let go before she gets disqualified.

Referee: ONE! TWO! THR-

Rich Russillo: OOH! Shot to the ribs by Halsey, who follows that up with forearms to the face of Usagi! Usagi is desperately trying to cover up, but Halsey uses that as an opening to attack the exposed rib area with another right hand! More forearms to the face connect, that is before the referee pulls Halsey out of the corner, and away from Senshi, giving Usagi some breathing room.

Persephone: Halsey appears to be crossing the line early on, if the referee were to disqualify her right here, right now, I’d completely understand.

James Peters: :mjpls: Halsey attempts to go back on the attack, but walks RIGHT into a back elbow from Usagi that staggers her a bit. Usagi exits the corner, and leans a stunned Halsey up against the ropes.

**TAG!!**

James Peters: Usagi made the tag out to Ayu before irish whipping Halsey off the ropes for an ATOMIC DROP! AYU RUNS OFF THE ROPES TO DELIVER A EUROPEAN UPPERCUT, SMASHING INTO HALSEY, AND UNDOUBTEDLY JACKING HER JAW! NEEL GOES DOWN, AND AYU MAKES THE COVER AFTER A GREAT DOUBLE TEAM!

ONNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!

TWWWWWWWWW-

Rich Russillo: Kickout! As expected, that’s not enough to put away Halsey Neel, who favors her jaw as she quickly gets to a vertical base, staggering back into the corner, still a bit off that double team move. Ayu was back to her feet quicker, and grabs hold of Halsey’s wrist, irish whipping her into the opposite co- NO! Halsey reverses at the last minute, and whips Ayu HARD into the corner, causing her to immediately collapse down to the canvas, and writhe in pain, clutching at her back.

James Peters: Halsey has regained control, and pulls Ayu back to her feet, SLAPPING HER ACROSS THE CHEST WITH A KNIFE EDGE CHOP! Ayu backs into the corner as a result, and Halsey continues inflicting damage, scoring with a HEADBUTT! Ayu appears to be out of it, having taken two hard hitting moves back to back, and irish whipped to the opposite corner by Neel!

Rich Russillo: Halsey builds a full head of steam, trailing behind Megumi, WHO GOES UP AND OVER IN THE CORNER, CAUSING HALSEY TO COLLIDE STERNUM FIRST WITH THE TOP TURNBUCKLE! Halsey spins around, and gets caught with a ROUNDHOUSE KICK TO THE SKULL! Halsey is on wobbly legs, and can barely stand, that is before Ayu grabs her in a front facelock.

James Peters: Ayu uses that maneuver to take control of Halsey, and direct her towards the Ice Aces corner, reaching out for a tag to ARIA, who has yet to get a sniff of the action.

**TAG!!**

Persephone: I guess that’s about to change real soon.

James Peters: A snap suplex by Ayu plants Halsey, who sits up, and is visibly wincing in pain off that maneuver. She’s all ARIA’s now as Ayu Megumi leaves the ring, allowing our Specialists Champion to go to work. Halsey gets brought back to her feet by ARIA, and is slammed face first off the top turnbuckle in the corner!

Rich Russillo: Time for Halsey to get a taste of her own medicine as ARIA pins her in the corner for a KNIFE EDGE CHOP TO THE CHEST! Halsey goes down to a knee, being assaulted with a barrage of offense by Ice Aces, offense which I’m sure she has yet to recover from. But ARIA pulls Halsey back to her feet, and pins her in the corner for a second time, landing a SECOND knife edge chop to the chest!

James Peters: Halsey staggers out of the corner slightly, and drops to her knees. ARIA keeps an eye on both Candice and Sierra as she walks over to a kneeling Halsey, picking her back u- OOH! HALSEY EXPLODES WITH A KNEE TO THE MIDSECTION, CATCHING ARIA OFF GUARD!

Rich Russillo: ARIA stumbles to the corner, holding said midsection, and gets irish whipped to the opposite by Nee- wait! Counter by ARIA, who sends Halsey to the opposite corner instead, charging right after her! Halsey tries to take a page out of Ayu’s book, and attempts to go up and over ARIA, who stops just short of Halsey. Neel winds up backpedaling into a BACKSTABBER FROM ARIA!

James Peters: Halsey arches her back in pain, and creates some space between herself and ARIA, rolling away, and finding herself seated in the #DisneyBesties corner. ARIA realizes this, and points toward Sierra Everett, her opponent from Tempest. I think ARIA’s asking for Halsey to tag her in, which the crowd seem to want as well.

Persephone: I’d “love” for these two women to run it back. I mean, who can forget their match which featured such spots as… as…

James Peters: :cmon:

**TAG!!**

Rich Russillo: Well, West Virginia is going to get their wish as Halsey Neel tags out to Sierra Everett! Both women circle one another, and might look to start out with a collar and elbow-

**TAG!!**

Rich Russillo: Nevermind, as Sierra Everett just tagged out to Candice Blair, wanting no parts of ARIA, at least not in this very moment. CANDICE RUSHES IN THE RING, AND TRIES TO TAKE ARIA DOWN WITH A CLOTHESLINE, BUT ARIA DUCKS UNDERNEATH IT, AND CATCHES BLAIR WITH A SNAP DRAGON SUPLEX! Candice rolls through to a knee, clutching the back of her neck, and is visibly stunned right now, attempting to shake the cobwebs out of her head.

James Peters: ARIA stands Candice up, and shoves her back into the Ice Aces corner.

**TAG!!**

James Peters: Tag! Ayu re-enters the ring, and ARIA whips Candice off the ropes for a DOUBLE BACK ELBOW! BOTH WOMEN FOLLOW THAT UP WITH A DOUBLE STANDING MOONSAULT, AND AYU HOOKS THE LEG AS ARIA EXITS THE RING!

ONNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!

TWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOO!!

Rich Russillo: Kickout! Candice remains in this thing, and gets brought back to her feet by Ayu, who delivers multiple forearms to the face, letting bone meet jaw as she backs Candice up against the ropes for an irish whip!

**TAG!!**

Rich Russillo: Halsey! Halsey blind tagged Candice on the back before Ayu could whip her off the ropes, not that Megumi realizes, and she goes to perform the irish whip! BUT CANDICE TWISTS THE ARM OF AYU, AND SHOVES HER BACK INTO THE ROPES! HALSEY SCORES WITH A ROPE-ASSISTED ENZIGURI TO THE BACK OF AYU’S NECK! MEGUMI STUMBLES INTO AN ALMOST THERE BY CANDICE! DISCUS CLOTHESLINE CAME CLOSE TO TAKING HER OPPONENT’S HEAD OFF!

James Peters: Usually, Candice would follow that up with a match ender, something like Disneyland Destroyer, but given she isn’t the legal competitor, she’s gonna give the reins over to Halsey.

Rich Russillo: Halsey enters the ring as Candice drags Ayu to their corner, AND THE TWO BEGIN TO STOMP DOWN ON A VULNERABLE MEGUMI, WHO CANT QUITE COVER UP AGAINST THIS ONSLAUGHT! Candice exits the ring, and Halsey fixes to exit herself, tagging out to Sierra Everett, who’s getting her feet wet for the first time in this match up.

**TAG!!**

Persephone: :wow:

James Peters: I guess Sierra is ready to compete now, ready to scavenge on Ayu Megumi like the rest of her team.

Rich Russillo: Wanting to do the least work possible has been her MO for a while now. Why go after a fresh ARIA when she can pick the bones instead?

James Peters: Sierra pulls Ayu back to her feet, and goes to irish whip Ayu off the ropes, but Ayu reverses at the last second, sending Sierra towards the ropes instead! Ayu ducks down, perhaps signaling a back body drop, BUT SIERRA HALTS HER MOMENTUM SHORT, SPIKING AYU WITH A SNAP DDT! Megumi rolls on her back, and Sierra wastes no time hooking the leg for a cover!

ONNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!

TWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOO!!

Rich Russillo: Shoulder up at two!

Persephone: I’m glad Sierra has some urgency when it comes to ending this match, the others need that as well. Ya know, for strategy reasons. 🌚

Rich Russillo: Sierra pulls Ayu to her feet by the hair, and reaches out for a tag to Candice!

**TAG!!**

Rich Russillo: Candice Blair inserts herself back into this contest, and Sierra holds Ayu in place for a KICK TO THE MIDSECTION! Candice proceeds to hook Ayu up for an exploder suplex, locking eyes with Ice Aces before LAUNCHING their partner. Candice rushes into the cover, hooking the leg!

ONNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!

TWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!

James Peters: Again, only a two count as Ayu Megumi manages to kick out! The game plan is starting to become clear for #DisneyBesties, making frequent tags in and out, isolating Ayu Megumi, and leaving her no room to recover, wearing her down with each move they make.

**TAG!!**

Rich Russillo: Candice tags out to Halsey, and holds a seated Ayu in place, hooking both arms, so she is unable to properly defend herself, being at the mercy of Neel, who enters the ring, allowing the wheels to turn in her head, and contemplate what she’ll do to Ayu.

James Peters: STOMP to Ayu’s abdomen, and she proceeds to mount Megumi for repeated right hands to the face as Candice exits the ring. Halsey roughly pulls Ayu back to her feet, and shows off her technical prowess with a BRIDGING BUTTERFLY SUPLEX! SHOULDERS ARE DOWN!

ONNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!

TWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOO!!

Rich Russillo: KICKOUT! All they’ve been able to muster against Ayu is two counts.

Persephone: :madstare:

Rich Russillo: Halsey doesn’t seem very phased that Ayu Megumi kicked out, and probably revels in the opportunity to inflict more pain. Neel locks on a rear chinlock, and as if Ayu wasn’t worn down before, she’s really being worn down now, having almost any chance she has of mounting momentum halted.

James Peters: The crowd is really getting behind Ayu, along with Ice Aces, which she uses as fuel to power back to her feet. Ayu reaches out for a tag to either ARIA or Usagi. However, she’s out of reach, and switches game plan, BREAKING HALSEY’S HOLD WITH A BACK SUPLEX! Ayu needs a tag desperately, and might have the opportunity to get it right now, dragging herself towards the Ice Aces, who are eagerly reaching out for a tag!

Rich Russillo: OOH! CANDICE AND SIERRA BOTH RUSHED ARIA AND USAGI, KNOCKING THEM OFF THE APRON WITH FOREARMS, AND PREVENTING AYU FROM MAKING THE TAG AS HALSEY WAS DOWNED, SHOWING NO SIGNS OF BEING ABLE TO STOP IT!

James Peters: Halsey finally gets her wits about her as Candice and Sierra leave the ring, and reaches out for a prone Ayu, grabbing hold of her ankle. Halsey rises to her feet, and Ayu rises to hers as well, being on one foot, BUT SPINS AROUND, AND DROPS HALSEY TO ALL FOURS WITH AN ENZIGURI! USAGI HOPS BACK ON THE APRON, MORE FIRED UP THAN EVER AFTER BEING KNOCKED OFF BY #DISNEYBESTIES! AYU REALIZES THIS, AND NOTICES THAT HALSEY IS TOO STUNNED TO STOP HER BEFORE JUMPING OUT FOR THE TAG!

**TAG!!**

Rich Russillo: TAG! USAGI SENSHI HAS BECOME THE LEGAL COMPETITOR, AND ENTERS THE RING LIKE A HOUSE OF FIRE! HALSEY STANDS HERSELF BACK UP, AND TURNS AROUND, BUT GETS CAUGHT WITH A SHOTGUN DROPKICK! HALSEY NEEL GETS KNOCKED BACK INTO HER CORNER, BUT ACCIDENTALLY BOTH CANDICE AND SIERRA OFF THE APRON AS A RESULT, HER ELBOWS FLYING INTO THEIR FACES!

James Peters: USAGI IS ALL OVER HALSEY WITH RIGHT HANDS IN THE CORNER! HALSEY SHOVES USAGI AWAY, AND TRIES CREATING SEPARATION BY WALKING TOWARDS THE CORNER AT THE OPPOSITE END OF THE ROPES! BUT GETS HALTED BY USAGI, WHO STAYS ON TOP OF NEEL, AND HAS HER LEANED UP AGAINST THE ROPES WITH ELBOW STRIKES! HALSEY IS DOING HER BEST TO COVER UP!

Rich Russillo: HALSEY GETS WHIPPED OFF THE ROPES, BUT HALSEY REVESES, WHIPPING USAGI TOWARDS THE ROPES INSTEAD! USAGI DUCKS UNDERNEATH A CLOTHESLINE ATTEMPT, AND SPRINGBOARDS OFF THE MIDDLE ROPE BEHIND NEEL, WHO TURNS AROUND INTO A SPRINGBOARD UPPERCUT!

Persephone: Usagi has been all go since her entry into the match!

James Peters: HALSEY RUSHES TO HER FEET, AND STAGGERS BACK IN THE CORNER WHERE SHE GETS STOMPED DOWN TO A SEATED POSITION BY USAGI, WHO SHOWS ZERO OUNCE OF REMORSE, CONTINUING TO KICK AND KICK AND KICK! THE REFEREE PULLS USAGI OUT OF THE CORNER MOMENTARILY, AND SHE PUSHES PAST THE REFEREE, KNOCKING CANDICE OFF THE APRON WITH A RUNNING ELBOW SMASH! RIGHT AS CANDICE GOT BACK ON SAID APRON, SHE GETS KNOCKED RIGHT BACK OFF!

Rich Russillo: USAGI GETS SPUN AROUND BY HALSEY, WHO TAGS HER BEHIND THE EAR WITH A STEP-UP ENZIGURI! SENSHI IS PUT ON WOBBLY LEGS AFTER THAT, AND APPEARS TO HAVE ALMOST FALLEN THROUGH THE MIDDLE ROPE, BUT REBOUNDS OFF IT INSTEAD FOR A FALLING CLOTHESLINE!

James Peters: USAGI GETS TO HER FEET AS SIERRA EVERETT ENTERS THE RING, AND GETS DOUBLE LEGGED TO THE CANVAS BY USAGI FOR A SHARPSHOOTER! HALSEY RUSHES TO HER FEET, AND GOES TO INTERRUPT IT, BUT GETS TAKEN WITH A DOUBLE LEG AS WELL! SHARPSHOOTER BY USAGI!

Rich Russillo: SIERRA EVERETT BREAKS IT UP WITH A RUNNING KNEE LIFT TO SENSHI, DROPPING HER TO THE CANVAS!

James Peters: ARIA ENTERS THE RING, AND TAKES SIERRA DOWN WITH A RUNNING CLOTHESLINE! BUT DOESNT STOP THERE, EXITING THE RING, AND GOING AFTER CANDICE- WHO DRIVES ARIA GUT FIRST INTO THE APRON WITH HER SHOULDER! CANDICE TRIES SENDING ARIA INTO THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF THE BARRICADE, BUT ARIA SHIFTS THE MOMENTUM AT THE LAST MINUTE, SENDING CANDICE INSTEAD! CANDICE WENT SIDEWAYS, BACK FIRST, SHOWING YOU HOW MUCH FORCE AND MOMENTUM ARIA HAD IN THAT THROW!

Rich Russillo: ARIA notices that Sierra is pulling herself back to a vertical base with assistance from the apron ringside. She’s in the Ice Aces side of the ring as well, so very much in no man’s land. ARIA rounds the ringpost, and charges! BUT SIERRA SIDE STEPS WHATEVER SHE HAD PLANNED, AND ARIA GOES KNEES FIRST INTO THE STEEL STEPS, FLIPPING OVER OFF IMPACT!

Persephone: #DisneyBesties has an opportunity to win this thing!

James Peters: Sierra Everett gets back on her team’s apron, and reaches out for the tag to a kneeling Halsey!

**TAG!!**

Rich Russillo: Sierra enters the ring, and watches as Usagi slowly pulls herself up in Ice Aces corner, realizing that her partners are not there. Senshi turns around, AND SIERRA CHARGES IN! BUT EVERETT RUNS RIGHT INTO A BOOT, STAGGERING HER BACK A BIT! USAGI RUNS OUT OF THE CORNER WITH A BICYCLE KNEE STRIKE ATTEMPT!

James Peters: BUT THE FATALITY IS SIDESTEPPED, AND COUNTERED WITH A ROLLING CUTTER BY SIERRA! APHRODITE’S KISS! COVER IS MADE!

ONNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEE!!

TWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOO!!

THHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRR-

James Peters: USAGI STAYS IN IT! SIERRA POUNDS THE MAT IN FRUSTRATION!

Persephone: I’ve never been able to relate with Sierra more than when it comes to feeling frustrated that a match won’t end…

James Peters: SIERRA SIGNALS THE BEGINNING OF THE END, AND PULLS USAGI BACK TO HER FEET, LIFTING HER UP IN AN ELECTRIC CHAIR POSITION! MOUN- NO! MOUNT EVEREST IS PUT ON HOLD AS USAGI SLIPS OFF THE SHOULDERS BEHIND SIERRA EVERETT, WHO GETS SPUN AROUND FOR A SNAP BRAINBUSTER!

Rich Russillo: SIERRA IS LIMP, BUT USAGI STILL SHOWS SIGNS OF LIFE, CRAWLING TOWARDS HER CORNER AS ICE ACES HAVE GOTTEN BACK UP ON THE APRON! SIERRA EVERETT IS SHOWING SOME SIGNS OF LIFE HERSELF, AND GETS TO ALL FOURS!

**TAG!!**

James Peters: BOTH ARIA AND CANDICE ENTER FOR THEIR RESPECTIVE TEAMS! ARIA TAKES BLAIR DOWN WITH A CLOTHESLINE, AND KNOCKS SIERRA OFF THE APRON WITH A FOREARM! CANDICE GETS BACK TO THEIR FEET, AND GETS BOUNCED OFF THE ROPES FOR AN IRISH WHIP! CANDICE REVERSES THE IRISH WHIP, AND SENDS ARIA TOWARDS THE ROPES INSTEAD!

Rich Russillo: CLOTHESLINE ATTEMPT, BUT ARIA DUCKS UNDERNEATH IT, AND HANDSPRINGS OFF THE ROPES FOR A BACK ELBOW ON CANDICE! HALSEY ENTERS THE RING, AND TRIES FOR A CLOTHESLINE ON ARIA! BUT ARIA DUCKS UNDERNEATH, AND RUNS OFF THE ROPES, HALSEY RUNS OFF THE OPPOSITE SET!

James Peters: CLAYMORE! ARIA NEARLY TOOK HALSEY’S HEAD OFF WITH THE CLAYMORE! BUT TURNS ATTENTION BACK TO CANDICE, WHO PICKS HERSELF BACK UP IN THE CORNER! RUNNING BIG BOOT TO CANDICE IN THE CORNER! BLAIR COLLAPSES DOWN TO A PRONE POSITION THE CANVAS!

Persephone: CMON, ARIA! FINISH THE MATCH!

Rich Russillo: Halsey picks herself back up with assistance from the ropes, and ARIA CLOTHESLINE HER OVER THE TOP ROPE, BUT WENT UP AND OVER HERSELF AS WELL, CHARGING IN WITH SO MUCH MOMENTUM! SIERRA TRIES FOR A CLOTHESLINE ON ARIA RINGSIDE, BUT ARIA DUCKS UNDERNEATH IT, AND SIERRA TURNS AROUND INTO A ZIRCON CUTTER ON THE OUTSIDE!

James Peters: ARIA SLIDES BACK INTO THE RING, AND GETS CAUGHT WITH A KICK TO THE MIDSECTION BEFORE BEING PLACED BETWEEN CANDICE’S LEGS FOR DISNEYLAND DESTROYER!

Rich Russillo: SPRINGBOARD MISSILE DROPKICK FROM AYU STOPS THAT FROM HAPPENING! CANDICE RUSHES BACK TO HER FEET, AND STAGGERS INTO A HEADLOCK DRIVER! IT’S RAINING CATS AND DOGS!

James Peters: AYU STEPS OUT ONTO THE APRON, AND EXTENDS HER HAND FOR A TAG, WHICH SHE GETS FROM ARIA!

**TAG!!**

Rich Russillo: AYU CLIMBS TO THE TOP ROPE, AND HAS CANDICE IN HER CROSSHAIRS FOR THE DIVING MOONSAULT!

James Peters: BOTH HALSEY AND SIERRA INJECT THEMSELVES BACK INTO THE ACTION, RIPPING ARIA OFF THE APRON, AND CAUSING HER TO HIT FACE FIRST ON THE WAY DOWN! HALSEY AND SIERRA ARE PUMMELING ARIA RINGSIDE, WHICH DISTRACTS AYU MOMENTARILY BEFORE USAGI LEAPS OFF THE STEEL STEPS WITH A CANNONBALL, WIPING EVERYONE OUT, INCLUDING HERSELF! ARIA IS DOWN! HALSEY IS DOWN! USAGI IS DOWN! SIERRA IS DOWN!

Rich Russillo: ITS UP TO AYU, WHO FLIES OFF THE TOP TURNBUCKLE WITH LEAP! …NO! CANDICE BLAIR AVOIDS THE MOONSAULT, HAVING BEEN BOUGHT JUST ENOUGH TIME BY THE MAYHEM OUTSIDE!

James Peters: AYU POWERS BACK TO HER FEET, CLUTCHING AT HER ABDOMEN, AND CANDICE BLAIR RUSHES TO HERS, TAKING ADVANTAGE WITH THE DISNEYLAND DESTROYER! SPIKING AYU ON HER HEAD! COVER IS MADE!

ONNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!

TWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!

THHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEE!!

(DING! DING! DING!)

Bella Braxton; HERES YOUR WINNERS… #DISNEYBESTIES!

(‘Rhapsody in Pink’ by Stela Cole (Clean Version) plays to a negative reaction from fans as Candice Blair rolls off Ayu’s limp body, and rises to her feet. Both Halsey and Sierra slide into the ring, and three women embrace before raising each other’s hands in victory.)

Persephone: Finally, its over. That sure was… It was definitely a match!

James Peters: #DisneyBesties have gotten some vindication over Ice Aces tonight, much to the chagrin of our fans, but you have to admit, they won the match fair and square!

Rich Russillo: And have definitely asserted themselves as a force to be reckoned with in the process.

James Peters: Take nothing away from Ice Aces, they put up a heck of a fight, but tonight was not their night against this newly-established group.

Rich Russillo: It’ll be interesting seeing how both teams respond to this. Honestly, I don’t think these fans expected things to turn out the way they did judging by the boos, but congratulations to the #DisneyBesties!

(The camera cuts elsewhere on a shot of ARIA and Usagi checking on Ayu ringside while #DisneyBesties continue celebrating inside.)

(Promotional ad for Grand Rampage, where Myles defends the EAW World Championship against Daryl Kinkade.)

(The camera cuts to the backstage area with Molly Waters, who is standing in front of a Voltage banner with a microphone in hand with a smile on her face.)

Molly Waters: Ladies and gentlemen, Molly Waters here I am back with you again with some very exclusive information. That information in question will be coming along in just a few moments.

Molly Waters: But before we get to that, let me tell everyone that this has been an amazing episode of Voltage thus far tonight. So much is being developed as we head to the Grand Rampage event. Do you know what else was amazing?

Molly Waters: Last week’s Tempest event! We knew that the Voltage Elitists would bring everything they have to this event and they did not disappoint at all. Leave it to the Elitists of Voltage to put on what many have called a show for the ages. So much went down last week at the Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in Cleveland.

(The shot then cuts to various still shots and quick videos of all the action that took place last week during the Tempest event.)

Molly Waters: If you were some of the unlucky few who did not watch Tempest live last week, you were MISSING OUT!! There were four huge championship matches that were on tap including the battle between Dr. Bethany Blue and Harper Lee for the Universal Women’s Championship and how could we forget the long awaited 24/7 Contract Cash-in of Samael as he faced Myles for the EAW World Championship.

Molly Waters: Of course you can’t forget the Specialists Championship and Hardcore Championship matches. Let me tell you that every match, title or non title, that was on the Tempest card lived up to the hype that was set before it. One of the best shows of the season if you ask me and things are only going to get bigger and better as we continue on to the Grand Rampage Event.

(The shot then cuts to a still shot of the infamous Handshake Heard Around the World which happened at the end of the Tempest event.)

Molly Waters: Of course, how could we ever forget about this monumental event that was talked about earlier tonight on Voltage with what people are calling the Handshake Heard Around the World between Drake King and Methuselah.

Molly Waters: The moment happened after Methuselah made his presence felt in the main event of Tempest when he interfered and speared Ywatch O’ Hara and that eventually led to Drake being disqualified in the match. Who would have thought that would ever happen in a million years?

Molly Waters: Speaking of the legendary Methuselah, the one match I wanted to put emphasis on during this time happened earlier in the night and it was the outstanding match between Methuselah and Theron Nikolas that people are also talking about.

(The shot now changes to numerous shots taken during the Methuselah/Theron Nikolas match.)

Molly Waters: So much action took place during that match and either man could have walked out victorious. Both men gave it their all in the hopes of victory, but at the end of the day, it was the one and only Methuselah would walk away with the victory over Theron Nikolas.

(The shot then cuts to footage of Theron Nikolas talking during one Theron’s recorded promos during Tempest week.)

Molly Waters: Now I want to turn my attention to some select comments that were made by Theron Nikolas earlier in the week before Tempest took place. He had confidence in his abilities to defeat Methuselah that at one point, he declared that if he could not beat Methuselah at Tempest, he would be done.

Molly Waters: Theron Nikolas fought as hard as he could. He gave as good as he got throughout the entire battle with Methuselah. We all saw the result go down and as I mentioned before, Theron unfortunately could not beat Methuselah and by all declaration, Theron Nikolas would be “done”. That left many people wondering what exactly Theron meant by “being done”.

(The shot cuts back and returns to Molly Waters still standing in front of the Voltage banner backstage.)

Molly Waters: Now earlier this week, I have been trying my best to reach out and get into contact with Theron Nikolas about his statements and what’s next for him, but unfortunately, I was not able to get in touch with Theron, but I did manage to get in contact with Theron Nikolas’ publicist.

Molly Waters: His publicist didn’t necessarily give me any answers in regards to what would be next for their client Theron, but they did direct me to take a look at Theron’s social stream, where he had recently posted a very interesting message.

(The camera shot then changes to the image of Theron’s most recent Social Stream post. The post that got many people talking over the week about what Theron could possibly mean.)

Molly Waters: Ladies and gentlemen, not long after Tempest ended, Theron Nikolas posted this interesting, yet sort of cryptic message that reads “You may not know your place in the world. They don’t either. Just make sure you’re the one person who doesn’t give up on you.”

Molly Waters: That was a very deep statement that was made .

Molly Waters: I have read the comments and people were wondering what in the world Theron is talking about. People were very worried that Tempest might have been the final time we have seen Theron Nikolas in Elite Answers Wrestling and that’s what I have been hoping to find out all this week.

(The camera shot cuts back to Molly Waters in front of the Voltage banner once more.)

Molly Waters: Now I want to let everybody that I am so happy to tell you that I have that exclusive information that I mentioned earlier coming to everybody here tonight on Voltage. Actually, no need to wait any longer because I am going to break the story NOW and I can’t wait to break the news!!

Molly Waters: Ladies and gentlemen, following the reference to Theron’s social stream by his publicist. Then I was happy that a few days ago, further conversations were held and I am more than happy that I can finally announce that Mr. Theron Nikolas has made a decision regarding the future of his career here on Voltage and in Elite Answers Wrestling.

(Molly gets a giant smile of excitement on her face before she makes the exclusive announcement.)

Molly Waters: Ladies and gentlemen! Theron Nikolas had made the decision…TO ADD HIS OWN NAME INTO THE MIX OF MANY OTHERS FOR THE GRAND RAMPAGE! THAT’S RIGHT! You heard it here first. Theron Nikolas is entering himself into the thirty person Grand Rampage match in a few weeks.

Molly Waters: Theron Nikolas has a very decorated career as he has accomplished many things here in EAW throughout his career. The one thing that has eluded Theron Nikolas is winning the Grand Rampage match. Will he break the streak in just a few weeks as he could possibly win the Grand Rampage for the first time in his illustrious career. Now that was a very exciting announcement and you heard it here first. That’s–

(Molly is cut off mid sentence by someone speaking to her within her earpiece giving her some information.)

Molly Waters: I apologize about that brief interruption, but I have just found out some more exclusive information! This is coming straight from Captain Charisma himself. It is about next week’s Voltage.

Molly Waters: We officially have a new Voltage match announced here. From the desk of Captain Charisma, he wanted me to make the announcement that next week, Theron Nikolas will return to action on Voltage!

(Molly smiles as you can hear some faint cheers coming from the background.)

Molly Waters: Next week, Theron will be in action once again as he takes on another competitor just announced for the Grand Rampage in singles action. Theron Nikolas will be taking on KOREY GAINES next week on Voltage.

(A match graphic showing Korey Gaines vs. Theron Nikolas for next week on Voltage before cutting back to Molly.)

Molly Waters: That’s right. Theron Nikolas and Korey Gaines going one on one next week. Will Korey Gaines pick up his biggest victory since his return or will Theron Nikolas make a statement on his way to Grand Rampage.

Molly Waters: Both competitors want to build that momentum on the way to the big Grand Rampage match in the hopes of getting their ticket punched to the main event of Pain for Pride. That match will be next week and we can’t wait to see it.

Molly Waters: Thank you for your time, but for right now, I’m Molly Waters and let’s send you back to all the Voltage action.

(The final shot shows Molly with a smile on her face as she looks into the camera as the camera cuts elsewhere.)

(Voltage fades to the ring where Bella is standing by.)

Bella Braxton: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN… PLEASE WELCOME… MINERVA!

(‘Blood, Milk, & Sky’ begins to blast throughout the PA system and the Morgantown audience goes nuts. They love Minerva and when the beautiful orange-haired Gypsy steps through the crowd, their ovation gets even louder. Minerva, who has a black rose in her mouth, coyly looks at the audience before tossing the rose into the crowd and making her way down to the ring.)

James Peters: Rumors have been swirling all week that Minerva has a score to settle with someone, and I, for one, can’t wait to see who that ends up being.

Persephone: You must not have much of a life if you’re anxiously awaiting for something Minerva has to say :mjlol:.

Rich Russillo: :lupe: Well, I’ve kind of been curious as well considering we’re officially on the road to Pain for Pride. I know the members of the EAW Universe want to see Minerva enter the Grand Rampage match, and maybe that’s got something to do with what she has to say tonight.

(Minerva takes the microphone from Voltage’s long-time ring announcer and waits patiently for her music to fade. Once it does, the audience begins to chant her name and Minerva stands in the center of the ring soaking it all up. Finally, she cracks another smile and motions for everyone to settle down so she can start speaking.)

Minerva: You guys really know how to make a girl feel loved. :wow:

(This elicits another pop from the crowd.)

Minerva: With Tempest said and done, I know a lot of you have been wondering what’s next for me and what path I might take enroute to Pain for Pride. There’s no shortage of ways I can get myself on the Pain for Pride card, including entering and winning the Grand Rampage match, and while winning that match is a goal of mine, I actually have something different in mind for this year. Trust me, becoming a three-time world champion is something I’m going to be pursuing, sooner rather than later, but after doing some soul searching, before and after Tempest, I came to realize that there’s quite a few things I have my eyes on.

(A little smile touches Minerva’s full, blood red lips. No one is exactly surprised to hear that she has several things in mind for herself. She’s always carried herself as an ambitious woman, and since coming into her own as an Elitist over the last couple of years, it’s obvious to everyone she wants to be one of the very best.)

Minerva: I know exactly what I want come Pain for Pride, but before we get there, there’s Grand Rampage. A couple of weeks ago, I found myself in a tag team match alongside Myles, and we faced off against Usagi Senshi and Samael. Towards the end of the match, Samael was able to catch me and as a result, I suffered a minor concussion. I’m no stranger to injuries, concussions included, and I’ve fought through them my entire career. But what I don’t appreciate is the fact I wasn’t able to pay Samael back. Myles took care of business, although it caused him to lose sight of the referee’s count, and it’s because of me, we ended up winning the match, but that doesn’t mean I’m going to let Samael off the hook. In fact, the whole reason I’m out here is to call that big idiot out. Depending which personality he decides he wants to be today will determine whether or not he comes out here, I guess, but I’m not above going to the back and finding him myself assuming he’s in the building tonight. After wasting the 24/7 Contract on a match he was never going to win in the first place, it wouldn’t shock me at all if Samael decided not to show his face. I hope that’s not the case, but who really knows. If I’ve learned anything during my time here in EAW, it’s the Elitists come and go pretty regularly. They don’t care to push through adversity and stick around when the going gets tough. In fa-

(Minerva is cut off by the murmuring of the crowd. Something has captured their attention and has them looking up into the rafters. The camera finally finds what the audience is looking at and on one of the handrails, in the quote ‘nosebleed’ seats, sits Draven, Samael’s black bird. When Minerva spies the bird, her lips curl into a smirk, and a few moments later, ‘Down With the Sickness’ by Disturbed begins to play.)

James Peters: He’s here! It looks like Samael is here tonight!

Persephone: All I see is that ugly bird. There’s no one coming through the entrance.

(Persephone is right this time because several seconds go by and no one comes out. Minerva waits patiently, but still, there’s nothing.)

Rich Russillo: Hold on, guys. Look at Draven!

(Samael’s theme music has faded out, but the black bird has taken flight. He circles the arena before heading down to the ring and landing on the turnbuckle padding. As the camera zooms in on Draven, there is a red ribbon tied around his neck and there’s a slip of paper with it. Draven ca-caws, getting Minerva’s full attention, and without hesitating, Minerva makes her way towards the bird.)

James Peters: It appears that Draven has something attached to him. A note, perhaps?

Rich Russillo: Surely Samael isn’t going to try and play mind games with Minerva of all people.

(Minerva frees the rolled up paper from Draven and carefully unfolds it. She takes in whatever is written on it, but she’s no longer smiling.)

(The lights inside the arena begin to flicker, and that causes the tron to light up. The only thing that can be seen is a large fire. Despite the height of the flames, as the camera goes closer, there’s a pyre situated in the center of the flames and on top of that pyre is a body that resembles Minerva, hair the color of fire included.)

Persephone: Uhhh… are we really watching a body burn on live television?

Rich Russillo: Surely that’s just an effigy…

Persephone: I mean, didn’t TLA have a Poon at one time that was literally Minerva’s doppelganger?

James Peters: Should we cut to commercial?

(Minerva blanches as she watches the body burn on the video tron. The shocked audience has gone quiet. After a moment, someone appears on the screen.)

https://media.tenor.com/O0iRBVM34TsAAAAd/wwe-uncle-howdy.gif

Persephone: :wtf: What fresh hell is that???

(The mysterious man on the screen tips his top hat and gestures towards the left. Beside him, Caine appears with a sick smile on his face. After a moment, the two of them part, giving a full view of the pyre. Flames lick and dance, consuming what we really hope is an effigy of Minerva. There is no real reaction from the audience. They are mute as they watch whatever is unfolding before their eyes. Inside the ring, Minerva is clutching the microphone, her face drained of color.)

(There is no fear in the Gypsy’s eyes. Like everyone else, she’s not sure what she’s actually watching. Samael has been known to do unexpected things and there’s always a bit of black magic whenever he’s involved. However, the scene taking place on the video tron is truly disturbing especially when Caine and this mystery person begin to laugh. The laughter is chilling and very unsettling, and for whatever reason, it causes Minerva’s soft features to harden. She drops the microphone, and the slip of paper, and the camera rushes to get a look at what it says.)

Rich Russillo: :lupe: I believe that note that was attached to Draven reads ‘Be careful what you wish for.’

James Peters: But how did Samael know what Minerva’s plan was for tonight??

Persephone: I mean, I don’t really care to know that answer. I just want to know what the hell we just watched? Feels like a snuff film, and I’m not really upset by that.

Rich Russillo: Of course you’re not.

James Peters: Uhhh yeah. They’re sending us to commercial. So ladies and gent-

(James is cut off when the live feed for Voltage is abruptly cut.)

(Commercial break for a remake of the ‘Sound of Music’ featuring a happy go lucky Jamie Cross. She is seen frolicing through a field of daisies singing about how raindrops on roses, whiskers on kittens, bright copper kettles, and warm woolen mittens are just a few of her favorite things.)

(Voltage returns to ringside, and Bella Braxton is seen with a microphone in her hand.)

Bella Braxton: Ladies and gentlemen… The following contest is scheduled for ONE FALL!!!

Crowd: ONE FALL!!!!

(‘Kamikaze’ by Redhook hits, and the fans in the arena cheer as Daryl Kinkade begins walking out to the stage. Right away Daryl looks focused, knowing that he has an EAW World Championship match coming up and that he can’t afford to lose this match leading up to it. Daryl does not spend much time on the stage, beginning to make his way to the ring before long.)

Bella Braxton: Introducing first… From Norwich, England… Weighing in at 225 pounds… DDDAAAARRRYYYYLLLLLL KKIIIIIINNNNNKKAAAAAADDDEEEEE!!!!!

James Peters: Daryl Kinkade is here, and I don’t blame him for looking so focused tonight. You know Myles is watching this match, and you don’t want a loss added to your record as you’re preparing to fight for a World Championship.

Rich Russillo: That’s true. In his mind Daryl probably sees this as a match with only one ending, and that ending is with him winning. Soon, we’ll see if he can actually make that a reality.

(‘Mo Money’ by Ben McLusky hits, and the cheers come to an end as the fans in the arena begin booing as loud as they can. Ronan Malosi would walk out with a confident grin on his face, and to his side is Amaya, who as always has a microphone in her hand to introduce him. Ronan begins making his way down the ramp, completely ignoring the boos, and during this Amaya begins to speak.)

Amaya: And his opponent… Residing in Atlanta Georgia… Weighing in at 270 pounds…. HE IS THE MILLION DOLLAR MEGASTAR, THE INTERNATIONAL TREASURE, AND HE HAS MORE MONEY THAN YOU…. RONNNNAANNNNNN MMMAAALLOOOOOSSSIIIIIIIII!!!!!!

James Peters: Ronan looks confident, but he has a bit of a situation going on himself, one that I think he should be putting a bit more focus on. After all, the #DisneyBesties left a pretty serious threat for him earlier tonight.

Rich Russillo: Yeah, but what’s Ronan supposed to do? Not focus on the match because of a threat? We could very well see them out here tonight, but until that happens, if it does, Ronan should have his mind on Daryl and Daryl alone.

(Ding! Ding! Ding!)

James Peters: Here we go! This match between Ronan Malosi and Daryl Kinkade is now underway, AND DARYL IMMEDIATELY GOES ON THE OFFENSIVE AS HE RUSHES IN BEFORE BEGINNING TO HIT RONAN WITH STRIKES TO THE MIDSECTION! RONAN HAS EXPERIENCE IN FIGHTING OUTSIDE OF PROFESSIONAL WRESTLING, BUT DARYL CLEARLY CAUGHT HIM OFF GUARD AS HE NOW HAS RONAN BACKED INTO THE CORNER! Daryl rushes into the opposite corner as Ronan pushes himself off of the turnbuckles- AND NOW DARYL RUNS IN BEFORE CONNECTING WITH A SHOTGUN DROPKICK, SENDING RONAN CRASHING RIGHT BACK INTO THE TURNBUCKLES AS HE STUMBLES OUT OF THE CORNER!

Rich Russillo: Daryl now taking Ronan down to the mat with a snapmare before running the ropes, AND THERE’S A HUGE PENALTY KICK! Ronan gets back up holding his face as he stumbles backwards to the ropes, AND NOW DARYL CHARGES IN- BUT RONAN LIFTS DARYL OVER THE TOP ROPE AS DARYL LANDS ON THE RING APRON! Ronan turns around looking to capitalize, BUT DARYL LANDS A FOREARM THAT CAUSES RONAN TO TAKE A STEP BACK! DARYL NOW WITH A SPRINGBOARD- OH NO! RONAN CAUGHT DARYL WITH A RIGHT HAND JUST AS DARYL TRIED TO JUMP ON THE TOP ROPE, CAUSING DARYL TO CRASH DOWN ONTO THE MAT!

Persephone: That was a rough landing, Daryl might be out guys! I think we should call the match.

James Peters: Ronan is laughing following that counter and just basking in the hatred of the fans, but fortunately for Daryl what Persephone said was not even close to the truth. Daryl is already pushing himself back up to his feet, AS RONAN CATCHES HIM WITH A KICK TO THE MIDSECTION, BEFORE CONNECTING WITH A DOUBLE AXE HANDLE ONTO DARYL’S BACK, DROPPING HIM BACK DOWN ONTO THE MAT! Ronan now grabbing Daryl and pulling him up himself, BEFORE USING HIS STRENGTH TO SEND DARYL CRASHING INTO THE TURNBUCKLES!

Rich Russillo: Ronan isn’t in much of a rush to capitalize as he seems to have this match under control! He seems to be saying a few words to Daryl, who’s using the turnbuckles to pull himself up, AND NOW RONAN CHARGES IN- JUST FOR DARYL TO PULL HIMSELF OUT OF THE CORNER, CAUSING RONAN TO CRASH INTO THE TURNBUCKLES INSTEAD! DARYL NOW WITH AN ENZUIGIRI, CATCHING RONAN AND CAUSING HIM TO STUMBLE AWAY FROM THE CORNER! Daryl is already back up, AND HE RUSHES IN BEFORE SENDING RONAN OUT OF THE RING WITH A CLOTHESLINE!

Persephone: Ronan landed on his feet, but that clearly caught him off guard! Daryl is running the ropes as fast as he can in the meantime, AND HE GOES FOR A SUICIDE DIVE- BUT RONAN JUST CAUGHT HIM OUT OF THE AIR!!! RONAN JUST CAUGHT DARYL, AND NOW HE RUNS INTO THE RING POST, CAUSING DARYL TO GO BACK FIRST INTO IT!!! That’s the second time now that Daryl attempted a high flying move, just for Ronan to stop him in his tracks! It looks like Ronan might actually have the advantage here.

James Peters: Ronan grabs Daryl before looking to send him into the steel steps- BUT DARYL IS ABLE TO TURN IT AROUND, CAUSING RONAN TO GO CRASHING INTO THE STEPS INSTEAD!!! DARYL PULLS HIMSELF UP ONTO THE APRON AS RONAN GETS BACK TO HIS FEET!!! DARYL RUNS TO THE OPPOSITE END OF THE APRON, DIVING OFF AND DROPPING RONAN WITH A DIVING KNEE STRIKE!!!! DARYL GRABS RONAN AND PULL HIM UP, SENDING HIM BACK INTO THE RING AS DARYL SOMEHOW TURNED THINGS BACK AROUND! Daryl now rolling into the ring-

Rich Russillo: RIGHT INTO A SPINEBUSTER!!! RONAN MANAGED TO PUSH HIMSELF UP AS DARYL GOT BACK INTO THE RING, ALLOWING HIM TO CONNECT WITH A SPINNING SPINEBUSTER THAT LEFT DARYL PLANTED IN THE CENTER OF THE RING! RONAN WITH THE FIRST COVER OF THE MATCH!

ONE!
TWO!!

Rich Russillo: AND DARYL KICKS OUT!! Ronan wasn’t too happy about that, but there’s nothing he can do now but keep going and hope he’s able to keep Daryl down for the three count! Speaking of keeping him down, Ronan just applied a rear chinlock, possibly looking to wear Daryl down using his size advantage!

Persephone: WOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! CHINLOCK, WHAT AN EXCITING MOVE!!!! WOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

James Peters: Please ignore her. The rear chinlock isn’t the most exciting move, but it’s getting the job done as Daryl doesn’t really have anywhere he can go! From that position he can’t power himself to the ropes, not with Ronan holding him like that! Daryl is trying to power himself back to his feet instead, and I think he might have a bit more luck doing so as Ronan is slowly forced to transition into a headlock instead! Daryl plants one foot on the mat before pushing himself back up onto both feet, AND NOW HE LANDS A PUNCH TO RONAN’S MIDSECTION!

Rich Russillo: THAT DOESN’T GET RONAN TO LET GO OF HIM, BUT IT DEFINITELY WEAKENED HIS GRASP! DARYL NOW RUNNING TO THE SIDE AS HE FORCES RONAN RIGHT INTO THE ROPES, CAUSING RONAN TO BOUNCE OFF OF THEM AND LET GO OF DARYL! RONAN NOW BOUNCING OFF OF THE OPPOSITE PAIR OF ROPES, AND DARYL TAKES HIM DOWN WITH AN ARM DRAG BEFORE KIPPING UP! DARYL NOW TURNING AND RUNNING TO THE ROPES AS RONAN GETS BACK UP, AND DARYL TAKES HIM DOWN WITH A HANDSPRING ROUNDHOUSE! Daryl’s athleticism is on display now!

Persephone: Ronan is still on his feet but he’s stumbling, and Daryl capitalizes off of that by pulling Ronan into a front facelock and running up the turnbuckles, BEFORE DELIVERING A TORNADO DDT, DROPPING RONAN ON HIS HEAD!!! DARYL KINKADE IS IN CONTROL AND IF THIS CONTINUES HE MIGHT JUST BE ABLE TO END THIS MATCH ENTIRELY! Daryl backs into a far corner before yelling at Ronan to get back up, and it looks like Daryl has another huge move planned, which I guess explains why he didn’t go for the cover after that tornado DDT!

James Peters: Ronan is able to make it back to all fours before slowly getting back up, AND NOW DARYL RUNS IN!!! MONKĒ FLIP- NO!!! RONAN COUNTERS IT WITH A BACK BODY DROP, SENDING DARYL HIGH UP INTO THE AIR AS HE CRASHES BACK DOWN ONTO THE MAT! Ronan is still hurting, but that counter undoubtedly saved this match for him as that Monkē Flip is no joke! Daryl slowly stumbles back up, AND THIS ALLOWS RONAN TO SCOOP DARYL UP ONTO HIS SHOULDERS IN A FIREMAN’S CARRY! IT LOOKS LIKE RONAN MIGHT BE TRYING TO SET UP FOR THE MALOSI MAELSTROM!

Rich Russillo: DARYL DOESN’T LET THAT HAPPEN THOUGH, CONNECTING WITH REPEATED ELBOWS TO THE SIDE OF THE HEAD THAT CAUSE RONAN TO STUMBLE BACK A BIT! It looks like that’s all Daryl needed, as he’s able to pull himself up onto the top turnbuckle before hitting Ronan with a right hand to push him away! Ronan Malosi stumbles back as Daryl Kinkade sets himself up properly, AND NOW DARYL DIVES AT RONAN- BUT RONAN CATCHES HIM WITH THE DREAM CRUSHER!!!! THE DREAM CRUSHER CONNECTS, AND NOW RONAN QUICKLY DRAGS DARYL AWAY FROM THE ROPES BEFORE HOOKING THE LEGS!

ONE!
TWO!!
THR-

Persephone: Yay, Daryl kicked out which means that this match continues! That’s just great.

James Peters: Ronan Malosi can’t believe that this match isn’t over yet. He was clearly confident in his chances there, but in the end Daryl was able to kick out and save this match for himself! Ronan argued with the referee a bit there, but there’s nothing the ref can do! It clearly wasn’t a three count, but it sure was close, which means that Ronan still has a chance right now! Ronan gets back to his feet and starts to drag Daryl up by the arm, and he must know just as well as I do that he could win right now!

Rich Russillo: RONAN TRIES TO PULL DARYL IN FOR DEATH-RO, BUT DARYL IS ABLE TO CONNECT WITH A SIDE ELBOW AND STOP RONAN IN HIS TRACKS! RONAN STUMBLED BACK, AND NOW DARYL RUNS IN AND DROPS RONAN WITH A JUMPING REVERSE STO!!! Daryl is still hurting and he holds his jaw in pain, but he pushes himself back up before running the ropes once more, knowing that Ronan won’t be on the mat for very long due to a move like that!

Persephone: Daryl bounces off the ropes just as Ronan gets back up, AND NOW DARYL GOES FOR THE MONKĒ FLIP- AND THIS TIME HE CONNECTS WITH IT!!!! DARYL CONNECTED WITH THE MONKĒ FLIP, AND THAT’S GOTTA BE IT!!! THERE’S NO WAY RONAN IS GONNA BE ABLE TO GET UP FROM THAT!!! DARYL HOOKS THE LEGS FOR THE COVER!!!!

ONE!
TWO!!
THREE-

Persephone: 🧍🏻‍♀️

James Peters: RONAN MALOSI JUST GOT THE SHOULDER UP!!! Don’t underestimate Ronan, he’s shown the ability to survive some big moves like this in the past and tonight he does it again! Somehow, this match is not over!

Rich Russillo: I think even Daryl Kinkade is surprised to see that Ronan kicked out, but Daryl doesn’t bother arguing with the ref like Ronan did. Instead Daryl is quick to regain his focus, starting to punch away at Ronan to further tear away at the larger man! Neither of Daryl’s finishing moves would be easy to apply or connect with against someone Ronan’s size, so Daryl needs to do whatever he can to just hurt Ronan and make sure he can’t fight back! It’s a smart idea, and now it looks like Daryl is actually dragging Ronan back to his feet!

James Peters: Daryl sends Ronan into the corner before running in- BUT RONAN GETS OUT OF THE WAY! Daryl was able to stop himself though, and he catches Ronan with a back elbow before Ronan could think of capitalizing! Daryl now grabbing Ronan, AND HE SLAMS RONAN’S FACE INTO THE TOP TURNBUCKLE! RONAN STUMBLES AWAY FROM THE CORNER, AND NOW DARYL CONNECTS WITH A FOREARM! That causes Ronan to stumble, BUT RONAN HITS DARYL WITH AN UPPERCUT THAT NEARLY TAKES KINKADE OFF OF HIS FEET! We may be entering a strike exchange here as Daryl connects with a knife edge chop, but I don’t think this favors Daryl!

Rich Russillo: Not with that size and power advantage it doesn’t! Ronan lands an elbow, and once again Daryl is nearly taken off of his feet! Daryl goes for another strike- BUT RONAN BLOCKS THIS ONE BEFORE LOOKING FOR A CLOTHESLINE- ONLY THIS TIME DARYL DUCKS BEFORE CONNECTING WITH AN OVERHEAD KICK! RONAN STUMBLES BACK, AND NOW IT LOOKS LIKE WE MAY BE SEEING DARYL KINKADE FIRED UP AS HE CHARGES IN BEFORE CONNECTING WITH A JUMPING FOREARM THAT ACTUALLY TAKES RONAN DOWN! RONAN STUMBLES BACK UP, BUT DARYL CATCHES HIM WITH A SECOND ONE!

Persephone: RONAN STUMBLES BACK UP A THIRD TIME BUT DARYL HITS HIM WITH A DROPKICK, SENDING RONAN TOWARDS THE ROPES!!!! DARYL NOW CHARGING AT RONAN- BUT RONAN DUCKS DARYL’S STRIKE, CAUSING DARYL TO RUN INTO THE ROPES AND BOUNCE OFF OF THEM- RIGHT INTO RONAN’S GRASP AS HE DROPS DARYL WITH VERTIGO!!!! THAT’S IT, THAT’S GOTTA BE IT!!!! RONAN GOES FOR THE COVER TO BEAT DARYL KINKADE!!!!

ONE!
TWO!!
THREE-

Persephone: WHAT??? NO!! HOW!?!? DARYL JUST GOT THE SHOULDER UP BEFORE THREE, HOW IS THIS MATCH NOT OVER YET?

(Ronan just sits up, staring at the referee.)

Ronan Malosi: (off-mic) The hell are you doing!? Ring the bell!

Referee: (off-mic) I can’t, that was only two!

Ronan Malosi: (off-mic) :comeagain:

James Peters: Ronan clearly thought he had the match won, and while usually it’s because of his ego, that actually was really close to three! Daryl couldn’t have expected that Vertigo, and because of that Ronan nearly picked up a really big victory! This match is not over though, even with all that said. Ronan still needs to do more if he wants this win, and you can tell he’s not happy about that whatsoever.

James Peters: Ronan pulls Daryl up before tossing him out of the ring, and I think Ronan might be looking for a potential count out victory here! We don’t see countout wins very often, especially not intentionally, but this actually isn’t a bad idea by Ronan! Daryl is obviously still out of it after getting dropped with Vertigo, and Ronan is hoping that Daryl will stay down until the count of ten!

Referee: (off-mic) ONE!…. TWO!… THREE!…

(At this point Daryl starts to stir, which annoys Ronan.)

Ronan Malosi: (off-mic) WHAT ARE YOU DOING? HURRY UP AND COUNT!

Referee: (off-mic) FOUR!… FI-

Rich Russillo: DARYL KINKADE SLIDES BACK INTO THE RING BEFORE FIVE, AND IT LOOKS LIKE RONAN WON’T BE GETTING THAT COUNTOUT WIN AFTER ALL! RONAN QUICKLY SCOOPS DARYL UP INTO A POWERBOMB POSITION, BUT DARYL IS ABLE TO RETALIATE AS HE CONNECTS WITH REPEATED PUNCHES TO RONAN’S FACE, CAUSING RONAN TO STUMBLE! DARYL NOW WITH A HURRICANRANA, TEMPORARILY TAKING RONAN DOWN AS DARYL IS ABLE TO REGAIN CONTROL! RONAN STUMBLED BACK UP, BUT DARYL RUNS IN AND CONNECTS WITH A EUROPEAN UPPERCUT, CAUSING RONAN TO FALL THROUGH THE ROPES AND TO THE OUTSIDE! RONAN IS AT RINGSIDE!

Persephone: Ronan is able to get back up, BUT BY THE TIME HE’S ON HIS FEET HE’S TAKEN RIGHT BACK DOWN WITH A SUICIDE DIVE!!! It looks like Ronan ended up just giving Daryl time to recover in his attempt to get a countout victory, and now Daryl is making him pay for that mistake! Daryl sends Ronan back into the ring, and Ronan is seriously in some trouble right now, as Daryl isn’t showing any signs of stopping or slowing down! Daryl heads up to the top rope, AND RONAN RUNS IN TO TRY AND KNOCK DARYL OFF- BUT DARYL JUMPS OVER RONAN BEFORE LANDING ON HIS FEET! BOTH MEN NOW TURNING AND CHARGING AT EACH OTHER-

James Peters: AND RONAN CONNECTS WITH A LARIAT, TURNING DARYL INSIDE OUT AD HIS HEAD JUST MIGHT HAVE BEEN TAKEN OFF!!! DARYL IS DOWN, AND NOW IT’S RONAN THAT HAS THE UPPER HAND! Ronan drags Daryl up with a smirk on his face, and it seems that he has the end of this match in his sights! Ronan pulls Daryl up before transitioning into the inverted headlock, AND NOW RONAN RUNS THE ROPES WHILE DARYL IS STILL OUT OF IT!!!! DEATH BLOW!!!!

Rich Russillo: NO!! DARYL IS ABLE TO DUCK UNDER IT BEFORE JUMPING ONTO RONAN’S SHOULDERS FROM BEHIND AND DELIVERING A REVERSE FRANKENSTEINER!!!! WHAT A MOVE BY DARYL KINKADE, AND NOW BOTH MEN ARE DOWN THANKS TO THAT MOVE! That clearly took everything that Daryl had, and now neither man is able to get back up and capitalize off of the fatigue of their opponent! Both men have done great tonight, this has been a fantastic Voltage main event. Daryl is the first to stir and push himself back up, but will he be able to make the most of that?

Persephone: Well there’s only one way to find out. Daryl is going over to Ronan and dragging him back up- BUT RONAN CATCHES DARYL WITH AN UPPERCUT OUT OF NOWHERE! It looks like he couldn’t, as Ronan had just as much time to recover as Daryl did! Ronan now looking to swing at Daryl, BUT IT LOOKS LIKE DARYL ISN’T MAKING THE SAME MISTAKE TWICE AS HE DUCKS UNDER THE STRIKE AND LOOKS FOR A NECKBREAKER! RONAN IS ABLE TO TURN IT AROUND AT THE LAST SECOND THOUGH, PUSHING DARYL AWAY BEFORE HE COULD CONNECT WITH THE MOVE!

James Peters: RONAN TRIES TO CAPITALIZE BUT DARYL SPINS AND CONNECTS WITH A KICK TO THE MIDSECTION! DARYL NOW WITH ANOTHER EUROPEAN UPPERCUT, AND HE FOLLOWS THAT UP WITH A SPINNING BACK FIST! RONAN MAY HAVE A FIGHTING BACKGROUND BUT DARYL HAS THE EXPERIENCE WHEN IT COMES TO PROFESSIONAL WRESTLING AT A HIGH LEVEL, AND THANKS TO THAT HE FOUND A PERFECT OPENING! RONAN IS STUNNED AND NOW DARYL RUNS THE ROPES, CONNECTING WITH A BICYCLE KICK THAT DROPS RONAN DOWN TO A KNEE! RONAN IS HURTING, AND NOW DARYL RUNS THE ROPES ONE MORE TIME-

Rich Russillo: BUT RONAN RUNS IN BEFORE KNEEING DARYL IN THE MIDSECTION! RONAN NOW SCOOPING DARYL UP, BEFORE POWERBOMBING HIM ONTO THE MAT BEFORE DARYL EVEN HAD THE CHANCE TO FIND A COUNTER!!!! RONAN HOLDS DARYL IN PLACE THOUGH- PUSHING DARYL UP ONTO A KNEE BEFORE CONNECTING WITH A SLIDING CLOTHESLINE!!!! Ronan with a vicious combo that takes Daryl Kinkade down, AND NOW HE STOMPS ON DARYL REPEATEDLY, TARGETING THE STOMPS ON BOTH DARYL’S HEAD AND HIS MIDSECTION! Ronan seems to be in control, but now look what he’s doing! He just spread his arms and seems to be speaking, and he just needs to be careful before Daryl could find a counter!

Ronan Malosi: (off-mic) Is THIS supposed to be World Championship material? Is THIS supposed to be your top guy?

(The fans boo extremely loudly, but this just gets Ronan to start laughing as he continues to stomp away at Daryl.)

Persephone: Daryl Kinkade is in some trouble right now, and Ronan is clearly very confident in his chances as he grabs Daryl by the arm! If you ask me, it looks like Ronan might actually have this match won! RONAN IS PULLING DARYL UP, AND NOW I THINK RONAN IS LOOKING TO PUT DARYL AWAY!

James Peters: RONAN GOES FOR DEATH-RO- BUT DARYL IS ABLE TO ROLL OVER RONAN’S ARM AND LAND ON HIS FEET!!! DARYL ROLLED OUT OF IT, AND NOW DARYL CONNECTS WITH A SUPERKICK THAT CAUSES RONAN TO FALL BACKWARDS INTO THE ROPES! RONAN BOUNCES OFF, AND NOW DARYL CONNECTS WITH A SECOND SUPERKICK THAT STUNS HIM LONG ENOUGH FOR DARYL TO PULL HIM INTO THE FRONT FACELOCK!!! DARYL NOW SETTING RONAN UP, AND THERE’S A BEAUTIFUL LIE!!!! A BEAUTIFUL LIE CONNECTS AND THAT’S GOTTA BE IT FOR RONAN!!! DARYL HOOKS THE LEGS!!!!

ONE!
TWO!!
THREE!!!

(Ding! Ding! Ding!)

Bella Braxton: Here is your winner…. DDDDAAARRRRYYYYLLLLLLLL KKKKKIIIIIIIIINNNNKKKKAAAAAADDDEEEEE!!!!!!!!!

(‘Kamikaze’ hits, and the fans cheer as Daryl Kinkade rolls off Ronan Malosi. He takes a few seconds to catch his breath, before slowly pushing himself back to his feet and having his hand raised by the referee.)

James Peters: Daryl Kinkade gets the victory, but it definitely was not easy! Ronan Malosi had a really good showing tonight, and if he keeps that up he could definitely turn things around for himself going forward.

Rich Russillo: You’re right, but in the end that good performance just wasn’t enough. Not against Daryl Kinkade at least, as Daryl is at the top of his game, ready for the EAW World Champions-

(Before Rich could even finish speaking, ‘Enemy Strike’ by Yuki Hayashi hits. This causes more cheers from the fans, and Daryl Kinkade turns towards the stage. Before long the EAW World Champion Myles would be seen, and along with the Championship around his waist, he’d be seen with a microphone in his hand. He begins walking down the ramp, meanwhile Daryl does not look too amused.)

James Peters: I guess we should have expected this sooner or later! Myles is here, and he’s ready to confront his challenger for the EAW World Championship, which he will be defending at Grand Rampage!

Rich Russillo: Myles has a microphone in his hand, and it looks like he has a few words for Daryl!

Persephone: I sure am glad Myles is out here! Voltage was almost over! Can’t have that haha!

(Myles enters the ring, walking up to Daryl Kinkade as the two Grand Rampage opponents go face to face. After a brief staredown between the two, Myles begins to speak.)

Myles: Congratulations Daryl, you beat Ronan Malosi.

(Daryl doesn’t respond to this, hearing the sarcasm in Myles’ voice.)

Myles: I’m hoping that silence means you’re just as aware as I am that this match doesn’t serve as a legitimate preview to anything. Maybe if you were fighting for a lesser Championship sure, but when you’re aiming at the top you’ll need a lot more than victories over the bottom of the barrel to impress anyone. I’m not Ronan Malosi. I’m Myles. The same Myles that came back at Wicked Games and won his second World Championship that same season, not even a full year after my first World Championship reign ended. I’m the man that the entire Voltage roster hopes to one day be capable of defeating, so you’re not special in wanting to take this Championship from me or believing that you either already have or will have the tools to do so. It’s nothing I haven’t already seen and dealt with, so you tell me Daryl. What should I be looking forward to at Grand Rampage? The man that just beat Ronan Malosi, or a challenge I’ve never seen before in my entire career?

(Daryl looks frustrated hearing this, but he does not respond just yet. Myles on the other hand, continues to speak.)

Myles: Know this, Daryl. Facing me will be a completely different world from what you went through tonight. Whatever pain you felt against Ronan, whatever struggles you had when it came to putting him away, everything you went through will be a hundred times worse come Grand Rampage. If you have no problem with that and you’re capable of putting on the fight of your life in a match that was always going to be more than an uphill battle for you, then I look forward to seeing you then. If not, then this is nothing more than a waste of time. You need to show me what kind of competitor you really are Daryl, because when I put this Championship on the line, I expect it to be against the very best this brand has to offer. If you’re not that, then don’t walk into Grand Rampage expecting anything but defeat-

James Peters: WAIT A SECOND, DARYL JUST HEADBUTTED MYLES!!!! DARYL CAUGHT MYLES OFF GUARD WITH A HEADBUTT!!!! MYLES HOLDS HIS HEAD IN PAIN, AND NOW HE SWINGS AT DARYL IN RESPONSE- BUT DARYL DUCKS UNDER IT BEFORE KICKING MYLES IN THE MIDSECTION! MONKĒ FLIP!!!!! DARYL KINKADE JUST DROPPED MYLES WITH THE MONKĒ FLIP, BUT WHY???

Rich Russillo: WHAT DO YOU MEAN WHY??? Myles just told Daryl to show him what kind of competitor he is, and this is it! Instead of talking, Daryl decided to let his actions say everything that needed to be said! Daryl clearly wasn’t just going to sit there and take everything Myles said to him! Daryl wants to show Myles that he’s more than capable of putting him down, and this is his way of doing exactly that!

Persephone: Well, it looks like Daryl succeeded at that, but for some reason he’s picking Myles back up!

James Peters: Yeah, it looks like Daryl is not done even after that! He pulls Myles into a front facelock before crossing the legs, AND THERE’S A BEAUTIFUL LIE!!!! DARYL KINKADE JUST TOOK DOWN THE EAW WORLD CHAMPION!!!! AND IT LOOKS LIKE IN ONE WEEK THIS UPCOMING CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH HAS BECOME THAT MUCH MORE HEATED!

(The fans are completely split between Daryl and Myles at this point. Daryl Kinkade slowly gets back up, standing over the EAW World Champion before picking up his Championship. Daryl stares at the Championship for a while, before finally dropping it on top of Myles. This is the last sight of the show, as Voltage begins to fade to black.)

(EAW logo buzzes.)
