Voltage 2/17/2019

(EAW intro plays.)

(As usual, Voltage kicks off with a highlight package from last week’s episode.)

● Noah Reigner kicking off Voltage as the new World Heavyweight Champion!
● The Woogieman getting an absolutely dominant victory over Mat Emeralds and the crowd showing him nothing but love and appreciation!
● Veena Adams and Visual Prophet talking about Empire, and how the first challenger for Viz’s New Breed Championship will come from the purple brand. Clips of the match between Tyler Wolfe, Harlow Reichert, and Constance Blevins is played, as well as reaction shots from Veena and Viz. Tyler wins and locks eyes with Viz!
● The match between Korey Gaines and Denis Ryley, with Korey picking up the victory! The aftermath includes Denis snapping!
● Captain Charisma is seen giving Farrell V his unique opportunity, a shot at Jackson Blayde’s National Elite Championship!
● Farrell V versus Xander Payne, with Xander picking up the cheap victory! Immediately after the match, Xander would challenge Noah for the World Heavyweight Championship!
● :mjcry: The match between Myles and Daryl Kinkade, resulting in the most devastating break up in professional wrestling history. Charlie Marr would show up, turn on Daryl, and throw Myles over his now former partner for a victory. The attack afterwards from Charlie to Daryl would end up being something EAW fans would never forget.
● LC’s declaration to never face POP again unless something big was on the line!
● Champion versus Bhampion: The amazing back and forth match between Blayde and Landerson! President Trump and Melania cheering on the President and First Lady of Blaydemerica! Jackson finally putting away Landerson and attempting to take off Landerson’s mask, only for Farrell to come in and save the day!

(Voltage’s GOAT theme song, ‘33rd Blakk Glass’ by Sosmula & Zillakami is blasting throughout the Xfinity Center in College Park, Maryland. The camera pans around the arena. The Voltage faithful are on their feet, waving their signs, and just generally marking out. They’re excited to see their favorite Elitists in action tonight! The cameras cut to James Peters and Rich Russillio sitting behind the broadcast booth.)

Rich Russillio: :whew: WELCOME EVERYONE TO SUNDAY NIGHT VOLTAGE!!!

James Peters: Honestly, I’m still shook from last week. The last thing I ever expected to see was Charlie Marr turning on Daryl Kinkade. I mean despite the fact the writing has been on the wall for months, I held out hope that the two of them could turn it around and continue to compete together for the greater good.

Rich Russillio: The entire EAW Universe is still reeling from Marr’s absolutely horrific beatdown of Kinkade. We all want to know why. Why, Charlie? Why?

James Peters: That’s actually a question that could get answered later on tonight. Earlier today, Sofia Clarke sat down separately with MarrKade to try and get the answers we are all searching for. Truthfully, I saw Daryl Kinkade earlier and he didn’t look well, so kudos to him for even being here tonight.

Rich Russillio: I can’t wait to see what Sofia found out. We’re also going to see Charlie compete tonight against King of Elite finalist, Jack Ripley. Also, we have a champion versus champion match as our main event, and welp, the stakes of that match got raised a little higher this week. World Heavyweight Champion, Noah Reigner, will take on New Breed Champion, The Visual Prophet. Now, we don’t like to bring the personal lives of our Elitists to the forefront… but Noah versus Viz is a little more interesting now that Tyler Wolfe, Noah’s better half, has a chance to dethrone Viz at Empire’s upcoming Supershow, the Iconic Cup.

James Peters: Actually, we love dragging personal lives into the equation. Imagine if Noah fails to beat Viz and Tyler does, or vice versa!

Rich Russillio: The match promises to deliver regardless of the outcome. Noah Reigner is well on his way to becoming one of the greatest Elitists of all time, and The Visual Prophet has an Adams backing him. It doesn’t get much more legit than that.

James Peters: And speaking of the World Heavyweight Champion, I wonder if he’s going to have a response to Xander Payne?

Rich Russillio: All our Voltage stars are out tonight, plus we’re going to get an update on Rex McAllister and when we might see him back on Voltage!

James Peters: We have to take a quick commercial break, but when we return, we’re going to kick things off with an appearance from The Woogieman :wow:!!!

Rich Russillio: He’s asked to speak to the EAW Universe tonight.

James Peters: We’ll be right back!

(Voltage fades to commercial.)

(Commercial break for ‘Say Yes To The Dress’ on TLC. It’s Carsyn Carter’s favorite television show.)

(Voltage returns from commercial break and Bella Braxton is in the ring, bright smile on her face.)

Bella Braxton: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN… PLEASE WELCOME… THE WOOGIEMAN!!!

(‘If Ya Smell’ blasts through the speakers as the crowd goes wild over Woogieman, who comes out on the stage giving his iconic look to the fans. He has a mic in his hands and slowly approaches the ring. Woogieman climbs in the ring, hugs Bella, and takes a moment to soak in the crowd’s reaction.)

The Woogieman: Wassup Maryland? I hope y’all are having a good time cause I’m really not. I’ve been holding this inside for too long and I think it’s time for me to express my true feelings. Everyone has seen how Provençal and Chudd got awarded their shot at the Big Bhris Bhampionship last night. In my opinion, they are just not good enough for El Landerson and obviously that’s what he wants because it means he’ll hold the title for a little longer. That’s not real bhamp manners, well, at least that’s not how it worked when I was bhampion. The BBB title holds a special place in my heart, that’s why I’m here to address something.

Crowd: :lupe:

The Woogieman: I’m demanding another shot at the BBB title. I was the last bhampion before Landerson and I am the only one who could go toe to toe with him. You don’t believe me? Well I have to remind you both him and I got counted out, that’s the same like winning by disqualification. A cheap win, without any dignity of holding such a prestigious title. So, Landerson, if you are a real bhamp and a real man, accept my challenge. Voltage, Tempest, wherever you want whenever you want, I’m ready! Provençal and Chudd are not deserving contenders. Face the person you couldn’t beat last time!

(The crowd loses their shit! They absolutely love this idea! Woogieman drops the mic and proudly leaves the ring as his music begins to play again. The cameras cut to Rich Russillio and James Peters.)

James Peters: Short and clear, I think Woogie made a fair point, don’t you? :wow:

Rich Russillio: Is that even a question? The Woogieman is currently the only one who could dethrone the GOAT, and I’m not talking about Ahren Fourier. Give the man one more shot and watch him do his thing. WOOGIE FOR THE BBB TITLE! HERE! HERE!!

James Peters: HERE! HERE!!

(Voltage fades to commercial.)

(Commercial break for Mercer Beauty Lab in College Park, Maryland. Jackson Blayde got his spray there yesterday!)

(Voltage returns from commercial break and cuts to the backstage area. King of Elite finalist, Jack Ripley, is seen walking into the back entrance of the arena. A younger blonde follows a few steps behind him, her eyes glued to the iPhone in her hands. Some viewers might recognize the woman as Jack’s younger sister, Jordie Ripley. We stan the Ripley Family Christmas special, to be honest. Jack’s face is pensive, his mind clearly on his upcoming match against Charlie Marr. Jordie isn’t paying attention to anything except for her social media feed. She’s unaware that Jack has stopped and bumps into his back. Jack turns around and shoots her an annoyed look.)

Jack Ripley: You could at least watch where you’re going.

(Jordie rolls her eyes.)

Jordie Ripley: Sorry, sheesh. You’ve been a complete dick all day. Lighten up, dude. No one even wants to be around you right now.

Jack Ripley: If you had spent the week listening to Charlie Marr attempt to cut a promo, you’d be frustrated too. Everyone says this guy is a future world champion and I just don’t fucking see it. He’s a walking, talking contradiction, and I can’t fucking stand him. All the shit that comes out of his mouth is absolutely asinine. He makes no sense, literally none. I can’t wait to beat his fucking ass tonight and shut him the fuck up. And honestly, Jordie, if I’m such a dick, then why are you even here? You could have stayed your ass in Vegas, but you are the one who insisted on tagging along. So really, if I’m difficult to be around, then just go back to the hotel.

Jordie Ripley: :whoa: Calm down. I’m not the enemy. For your information, I did spend the week listening to Charlie as well. Who honestly cares what he has to say? People in EAW will forever talk shit and twist things to fit their own narrative. The guy is unhinged. He’s honestly not all there. Like who does something like that to their best friend? It was honestly awful to watch. My heart broke for Daryl Kinkade. He didn’t deserve that.

Jack Ripley: Yeah. I don’t give a fuck about Daryl Kinkade. He should have seen this coming from a mile away. Charlie never wanted to be in a tag team with Daryl Kinkade. They were dysfunctional. It never settled well with me when people coined them as the second coming of the High Rollerz. We were loyal. We supported one another. We were actual best friends, and more importantly, we were truly brothers. MarrKade were nothing more than a couple of bitches who would never have made it as solo stars. They needed to latch on to Rex to even become relevant. Fuck ‘em both, and I’m going to fuck up Charlie tonight. If that bitch Kinkade wants to come down and get involved, I’ll fuck him up too. I’m sick of settling here in EAW. I’m sick of everyone assuming that I can’t cut it as a singles wrestler. I was the PURE Champion and 24/7 Battle Royal winner. I didn’t fucking get those things thanks to help from others. I might have come up short at King of Elite, but I’m going to capitalize on my performance there and work even harder to better it, and not come up short again. I don’t need a piece of tin crown to mark me as a future World Champion. I’m want to win everything. I want the National Elite Championship. I want the World Heavyweight Champion. I literally fucking want everything. I’m already a future Hall of Famer. The High Rollerz will no doubt go in. We are the greatest tag team this place has ever seen. But I also want to make the Hall of Fame… as a solo star.

(Jack’s voice loses some of it’s edge, but the confidence never wavers. It’s easy to see that for once, the Straight Shooter is speaking from the heart.)

Jack Ripley: I might never have pictured myself on my own, but here I am, Jordie. I know I’m talented and I know that I’m one of the best pure wrestlers and competitors in this place. There are very few people who can bring to the table what I can, and that’s the ability to shoot straight and back it all up inside the ring. I know that I’m meant to do great things here. No matter what people say, or the criticism I get, I’m going to be one of the most decorated superstars to ever grace this place once I decide to hang up my boots and call it a day.

(Jodie gives her brother an encouraging smile.)

Jordie Ripley: And no one doubts you. I don’t. Your family doesn’t. And pretty soon, no one else will either. Just go out there and beat the fuck out of Charlie Marr tonight. I can’t wait to see it from ringside!

Jack Ripley: Or you could just watch it back here.

Jordie Ripley: Not a chance. I’ve never sat ringside before and seen you wrestle live.

(Jack lets a sigh.)

Jack Ripley: It’s the same as watching it back here on the monitor, or you know, at home.

(Jordie slaps him on the back.)

Jordie Ripley: Guess we’ll see.

(The two start walking again, their conversation continuing until they’re out of earshot. Voltage fades back to the ringside area.)

(Voltage cuts to Bella Braxton. She’s ready to announce the competitors for the first match of the night!)

Bella Braxton: The following contest is set for one fall! Introducing first, from San Jose California and weighing in at 160 pounds…The Bit Luchador, El Landerson!

(‘Here comes the Boom’ by DMX ft. Sean Paul and Alexa Vegas plays as Landerson walks down the ramp to the rinp.)

James Peters: Ladies and gentlemen, give it up for the Big Bhris Bhampion, Landerson! The Bit-Luchadore may be small in stature but he makes up for it in the fact that he just cannot be kept down! Prince of Phenomenal could well be in for a long night here tonight, Rich!

Rich Russillio: Sure, he could, but I think that, all his accolades aside, Landerson is, rightly so, walking into this match an underdog.

Bella Braxton: Introducing his opponent, weighing in at 220 pounds and residing in South Beach, Florida…The Prince of Phenomenal!

(‘If I had a Heart’ by Fever Ray plays as POP makes his way to the ring.)

James Peters: The crowd is offering begrudging respect for the Prince of Phenomenal here tonight, Rich, but he’s business as usual!

Rich Russillio: Absolutely, this man has seen it all, and like I said, Landerson is going to have his hands full here tonight, the Prince of Phenomenal is a tremendous competitor, something Landerson is about to discover!

(DING DING DING!)

James Peters: Here we go, POP and Landerson, this match is going to be a barnstormer of a match! Landerson catches POP in a headlock, but the larger man powers out and throws Landerson to the ropes, dropping down, but Landerson sees the ploy and drops on POP with a senton! Landerson then hits the ropes and delivers a seated dropkick to the side of the head, rolling Prince over! Landerson with the pin!

Referee: One! Two!

James Peters: Kickout from POP, Landerson may have started strong, but it’s going to take a lot more to put POP away! Rolling to his feet, POP quickly ducks a kick directed at his temple and rushes Landerson, catching the smaller man’s back off the momentum of the missed kick. POP lands a huge German Suplex…NO! Landerson flips out of it and hits the ropes again, but the Prince of Phenomenal is ready for Landerson and positions himself to hit a quick slam off Landerson’s rebound!

Rich Russillio: Landerson will feel that impact in the morning, that’s for sure! POP stays on Landerson and locks in a rear chinlock that looks to be sunk in tight! Landerson is fighting to break the hold, but POP isn’t relenting! The Bit-Luchadore shifts his weight and manages to escape! Pop drops a forearm across his back, though, and pulls Landerson to his feet! Pulling Landerson’s head down into position, POP plants Landerson into the mat with a hard sitout powerbomb! POP climbs the turnbuckle and turns to face over the crowd….MOONSAULT! The referee quickly moves into position!

Referee: ONE! TWO!

Rich Russillio: Shoulder up from Landerson, POP wastes no time arguing, though, and hits the ropes to deliver a basement dropkick of his own! Landerson holds his head in pain as POP, unrelenting, grabs Landerson by the boot, and delivers a vicious knee stomp! That’s sound strategy, James, if POP takes away Landerson’s mobility then the match will be all but won!

James Peters: Absolutely correct, and Landerson knows it, he’s trying to escape from the Prince of Phenomenal, but POP has evil intentions as he grabs the knee of Landerson and drags him to the edge of the ring…POP exits the ring and pulls Landerson to the ring post….HE WRAPS THE LEG OF LANDERSON AROUND THE POST! LANDERSON SCREAMS OUT IN PAIN! POP rolls back into the ring, ignoring the referee’s admonishment, and pulls Landerson to the middle of the mat.

Referee: ONE! TWO!

James Peters: Kickout with significantly less authority then previous. The Prince of Phenomenal is looking to make a statement tonight with a decisive win over Landerson! He pulls Landerson to his feet and positions him again for a powerbomb…NO, LANDERSON COUNTERED! LANDERSON WITH A HURRICANRANA THAT SENDS POP FLYING! Landerson is still in this! As POP tries to stand the Big Bhris Bhampion lands a crossbody block, then leaps to his feet, slapping his knee to regain circulation in it, and climbs the middle turnbuckle…middle rope leg drop! Landerson connects with the high risk maneuver! Landerson isn’t finished! As POP again tried to stand, Landerson springboards off the middle rope and nails a crossbody, again driving POP into the mat!

Rich Russillio: This is actually a sound strategy, if Landerson can keep POP on the back heel and off his game he can score an upset here tonight! As POP gains his feet, Landerson hits the ropes and delivers a beautiful tilt-a-whirl DDT, planting the Prince of Phenomenal into the mat! Landerson doesn’t waste time with the cover this time, he backs to a stalking posture as POP stands…LANDERSON WITH THE BULLDOG…NO! POP DUCKED THE BULLDOG AND LANDS A PELE KICK! LANDERSON WAS CAUGHT COMPLETELY OFF GUARD WITH THAT MOVE! POP now exits to the far apron and adjusts his elbow pad, looks like he could be ready to fly…YES SPRINGBOARD FOREARM CONNECTS WITH LANDERSON’S JAW! Landerson is flattened! The Prince of Phenomenal might have started slow, perhaps he overlooked Landerson a bit, but now he is full steam ahead and makes the cover!

Referee: ONE! TWO! THREE!

James Peters: NO! Landerson kicks out at the last possible moment! POP slaps the mat in frustration, he thought he had him there, and backs off as Landerson struggles to his feet! CROWN OF THORNS! LANDERSON IS IN REAL TROUBLE HERE!

Referee: ONE! TWO! THREE!

(DING DING DING!)

Bella Braxton: Ladies and gentlemen, your winner by pinfall, THE PPPPPPRRRRRRIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNCCCCCCCCCCCEEEEEE OF PHENOMENAL!!!

(‘If I had a Heart’ begins playing again as POP has his hand raised by the official.)

James Peters: A very game Landerson showed up tonight, but it just wasn’t enough to dethrone the Prince of Phenomenal!

(POP celebrates his victory and looks into the camera. He makes a title motion around his waist.)

POP (Off Mic): I deserve more! Bet I’m coming for it. The Prince of Phenomenal will be the World Heavyweight Champion.

(POP gets out of the ring and heads for the back, as Voltage fades to commercial break.)

(Commercial break for Holland America Cruises. Use promotional code PAYNEFORPRIDE to receive 10% off select 2019 and 2020 ‘Jewels of the Baltic’ 10-day sailings on the Zuiderdam.)

(Voltage returns from break and cuts to James Peters and Rich Russillio.)

James Peters: Welcome back, folks.

Rich Russillio: As we promised earlier, our very own Sofia Clarke sat down with the former Unified Tag Team Champions, Charlie Marr and Daryl Kinkade separately to discuss the events that transpired last week.

James Peters: Lets take a look at Sofia’s exclusive sit-down with Charlie Marr and find out what he had to say about turning on Daryl Kinkade.

(Voltage fades from the announce team.)

(EARLIER TODAY)

(The scene opens up to an undisclosed area inside the Xfinity Center. Sofia Clarke is sitting in a plush, comfortable chair. Directly across from her in an identical chair sits Voltage Elitist Charlie Marr. He has a blank expression on his face. The silence between the two is deafening, and the tension is obvious. Sofia looks at Charlie and shakes her head. A sigh escapes her red lips.)

Sofia Clarke: I guess I’ll just start by asking why. Why did you turn on Daryl?

(Charlie raises an eyebrow.)

Charlie Marr: Never heard of the bloke, love.

Sofia Clarke: You know, he was your tag team partner. But more than that he was your best friend. He was your bro—

(Charlie cuts Sofia off by placing a finger over her lips.)

Charlie Marr: Here’s the thing, Sofia. We’re going to get one thing straight before this interview starts.

(Sofia sighs again and Charlie sits back in his chair.)

Charlie Marr: I am not here because I want to be. I am here because I am contractually obligated too. An interview with me will benefit your career so much, so don’t fuck it up. From now on, we will refer to my former tag team partner as the man that shall not be named. Have you ever seen Harry Potter? I haven’t because I am not a virgin, but I’ve heard there’s a man in there that goes by that name. If we’re doing this shit, we’re doing it on my terms.

(Sofia can’t help but roll her eyes. Nevertheless, she continues on, and on Charlie’s terms.)

Sofia Clarke: I get that sometimes relationships simply run their course, but MarrKade were on their way to making history. You two had a dominant reign as Unified Tag Team Champions. If you had stuck together, you could have been on your way from erasing the High Rollerz from the history books as the greatest tag team EAW has ever seen. It’s not far fetched, considering the way the tag team division is picking up steam. The competition is more fierce than ever before, especially with so many well established names joining forces and fighting together.

Charlie Marr: Why would I keep lowering myself to being apart of the tag team division? I am better than that. I was sick and tired of carrying some deadweight to the top. I was being dragged down and achieving success kept on being harder. Getting to the top is a hell of a lot easier when you’re not carrying someone else. Remember, it wasn’t me that was pinned to lose the titles. I am far above wrestling in that pathetic division.

Sofia Clarke: So as a singles star, what do you hope to accomplish then? If you could map out the next 12 months of Charlie Marr’s career, what path do you see yourself taking?

Charlie Marr: Well let’s start with this week. I will beat Jack Ripley tonight and show what a dominant star I am. Let’s fast forward to Grand Rampage now. I will obviously emerge victorious from that match. I don’t care what number I enter in, I am winning it. Now, Pain for Pride. The greatest show on earth. After having my Pain for Pride moment ripped away from me last year, I will get it this year. It will be big. I will retire Impact. I haven’t considered the logistics of him being the World Champion again, I might have to screw Noah Reigner to help him win it again, but I will retire Impact.

Sofia Clarke: So you have no regrets about turning?

Charlie Marr: One. I wish I would have turned on him sooner.

Sofia Clarke: How does someone just turn so ice cold all of a sudden? Who hurt Charlie Marr in the past and made him this ruthless, cutthroat person who’s sitting in front of me right now?

Charlie Marr: I was always like this. I have never been this happy go lucky guy that everyone thought I was. It was all an act to benefit my career. Surely even you can understand that? It’s a hell of a lot easier to rise up the ranks when the fans cheer you and buy your t-shirts. I was very aware of that. I used that to my advantage and I played all of these fans. The real Charlie Marr has emerged now.

Sofia Clarke: I don’t even know why I’m asking this, but if by some chance Dar–sorry the man that shall not be named is watching this, what do you want to say to him?

(Charlie strokes his beard thoughtfully, but his piercing blue eyes are full of nothing but malice. He turns away from Sofia and looks directly into the camera that has been recording the interview.)

Charlie Marr: I FUCKING MADE YOU. NEVER EVER FORGET THAT. IF IT WASN’T FOR CHARLIE MARR YOU’D BE STUCK ON SHOWDOWN WRESTLING JAKE SMITH, WHOEVER THE FUCK THAT IS. I AM THE SOLE REASON THAT YOU HAVE HELD ANY GOLD IN THIS COMPANY. YOU OWE YOUR ENTIRE CAREER TO CHARLIE MARR. I AM ABOVE YOU AND THAT IS WHY I TURNED ON YOU. YOU’VE BEEN A CANCER TO MY CAREER AND I HAVE FINALLY ELIMINATED YOU. NOW I JUST NEED THE KILLING BLOW.

(Charlie turns away from the camera and looks back at Sofia. She is giving him a look of pure disgust.)

Sofia Clarke: Good luck to you.

(The interview slowly fades to black.)

(Voltage cuts right to a commercial break.)

(Commercial break for my 600-lb Life featuring Chudd. He’s a real success story. :wow:)

(Voltage returns and it fades into the second of Sofia’s two interview exclusives.)

(EARLIER TODAY)

(Sofia Clarke is seen once again sitting in an undisclosed area of the Xfinity Center. She’s in the same chair, and this time she’s been joined by Daryl Kinkade. Daryl’s war wounds from last week are on full display.)

Sofia Clarke: I guess I want to start off by asking you how you’re doing, Daryl. Charlie’s attack was pretty brutal. He gave you a concussion, multiple bruises, a busted nose, and a hairline fracture to your left cheekbone.

(Sofia flashes Daryl a sympathetic smile. Daryl responds by shrugging his shoulders.)

Daryl Kinkade: Honestly Sofia, I’m a bit sore, as you’d expect, but otherwise I’m fine. That’s not the first beating I’ve taken in my career and it’s not even close to being the worst.

Sofia Clarke: Do you know when you’ll be cleared to compete?

Daryl Kinkade: If it was up to me, I’d be in the ring tonight but unfortunately it’s not up to me. From what the doctors have told me my nose and cheek should be healed up enough to compete within the next week, and then it’s down to the results of the concussion evaluation that I am undergoing later on this afternoon. Like I said, I feel fine, but I can understand EAW being overly cautious when it comes to the health of their talent.

Sofia Clarke: Describe your relationship with Charlie Marr prior to last week’s Voltage. No one could ever figure out how the two of you managed to make it work, and work so well for so long.

Daryl Kinkade: My relationship with Charlie? Brotherly. It’s no secret that we didn’t always see eye to eye. We disagreed a lot, we fought, we’d have spells where we wouldn’t talk to each other, but at the end of the day we were brothers and that’s what brothers do. We both knew that whatever happened we’d have each others back and we knew that when we were on the same page, no-one, and I mean no-one, could touch MarrKade. Sometimes, things just click, despite all logic saying it shouldn’t. We were fortunate in that respect. We didn’t have to try and make it work. It just did.

Sofia Clarke: Why do you think Charlie did what he did?

Daryl Kinkade: He felt he had a point to prove? Out of frustration that I had a match on Voltage and he didn’t? Jealousy? He was embarrassed he lost the tag titles to a couple of girls? For the lols? Maybe just because he was bored? Who knows? You’re asking the wrong person that question. Charlie does what Charlie wants. I’ve been teaming with him for the best part of a year and known him much, much longer than that and I’ve never been able to fathom what goes on in that demented head of his. You’d have more luck stopping the sun rising or convincing TLA to become celibate than trying to figure out why Charlie does what he does.

Sofia Clarke: Would it be safe to assume that King of Elite was probably the final straw?

(Daryl shoots Sofia a glare.)

Daryl Kinkade: Well, it doesn’t take a fucking genius to work that one out does it?

(Sofia sighs.)

Sofia Clarke: Right. MarrKade had a dominant reign as Unified Tag Team Champions, and Charlie wasn’t the only person who felt the two of you were robbed of the 2018 Tag Team of the Year Award. Can you put into perspective what being part of MarrKade meant to you? Charlie was your partner, best friend, and brother. This has got to be hard for you.

Daryl Kinkade: Keyword there Sofia, ‘was’. Charlie was all those things to me, but not anymore. I owe him a lot, I can’t shy away from that. Would either of us be where we are now if we hadn’t formed MarrKade? Probably not. We’ve both wanted to be the better man in MarrKade and that friendly competition has pushed us to the levels we’re at now. But last week Charlie showed his true colors. The reason The Jaded Hearts pipped us to tag team of the year is because we haven’t truly been a team for a while. He’s been riding my coattails for a long time, whether he wants to admit it or not, and now he’s made it clear that we’re done.

Sofia Clarke: You used a Taylor Swift song lyric earlier in the week to describe what was going on with you. I think an appropriate one for MarrKade would be, ‘we are never getting back together, like ever.’ Would you even want to if somehow, someway the two of you could work this out?

Daryl Kinkade: Why would I? All our success has been down to me, and all of our failure, down to him. I stuck by him through his racist, misogynistic rants, smoothed things over with management when he’d had a public meltdown, fulfilled media obligations by myself because he ‘couldn’t be arsed’, and the first time I have an off day in the ring he does this. Seriously, why would I want anything to do with him now? Even if we did reconcile things, who’s to say that the next time something doesn’t go quite right he won’t twat me with a chair again? No, Charlie has burnt this bridge. To continue the Taylor Swift theme, ‘he should keep in mind, there is nothing I do better than revenge’.

Sofia Clarke: So what’s next for you?

Daryl Kinkade: First, convince the doctors I’m good to go. After that, I’m not sure. I need to take a step back and re-evaluate my position in EAW. Then…then I need to remind people why I was signed in the first place and why it was me that Rex saw the potential in and not Charlie. How I go about doing that? Well that’s where the uncertainty lies.

Sofia Clarke: As a singles star in Elite Answers Wrestling, what’s the one thing you want to accomplish more than anything else?

Daryl Kinkade: Simple, I want to main event Pain for Pride and walk out as the world champion. Isn’t that what everyone wants in EAW?

(Sofia nods in agreement.)

Sofia Clarke: If by some chance Charlie Marr is watching this interview, what do you want to say to him?

(Daryl scoffs and turns to face the camera so he can address Charlie personally.)

Daryl Kinkade: Congratulations, buddy. You finally got the better of me and all it took was blindsiding me with a steel chair after I’d been in the ring with Myles for ten minutes. I hope you’re pleased with yourself. I hope you feel like you’ve finally achieved something on your own. Because, and I can’t emphasise this enough, that is the last time you’ll have that feeling. I’ve lost count of the amount of times people have tried to put me down and just like of all of them Charlie, you failed. I’m still here. I’m still standing. You tried to break me, tried to put me out of action but just like the whole of your tenure in EAW so far, you couldn’t quite get the job done on your own. Without me or Rex holding your hand, you fell short. Make the most of this moment Charlie, because it’s not going to last.

(Daryl pauses.)

Daryl Kinkade: Oh and Charlie, whatever happens next, it’s all your fault.

(Daryl looks back at Sofia. She extends her hand and Daryl takes it, giving it a shake.)

Sofia Clarke: Daryl, I wish you all the best. Thank you for your time today.

(The interview slowly fades to black.)

(Voltage returns and cuts to James Peters and Rich Russillio. They look at one another and shake their heads.)

Rich Russillio: This shit is sad, man.

James Peters: It’s a more devastating break-up than One Direction.

Rich Russillio: … you listen to One Direction?

James Peters (singing): Baby you light up my world like nobody else… the way that you flip your hair gets me overwhelmed… but when you smile at the ground it ain’t hard to tell… you don’t know, oh oh… you don’t know you’re beautiful…

Rich Russillio: :wow: On that note, we’ll be right back.

(Voltage fades to commercial break.)

(Commercial break for eBay, currently selling replica Titanic necklaces like hot cakes. Chances are they don’t cost millions of dollars like the one Kassidy Heart got for Valentine’s Day!)

Bella Braxton: The following contest is a tag team match! Introducing first — from Orlando, Florida. He’s the ‘Moral Compass of the EAW’ .. this is Denis Ryley!

(“Type-03” by Mick Gordon is the first song that hits the P.A. system, and it brings out Denis Ryley as announced. The crowd turns on Denis, booing him loudly as he stops on the top of the ramp.)

James Peters: Well, here comes Denis Ryley. A man who’s gone through a shift in his career, and now fancies himself as the Moral Compass for EAW. The crowd, though? They’re not following that Compass.

Rich Russillio: I guess he’s not true north?

James Peters: :dahell:

(Ryley has rolled into the ring and moves into a corner where he waits, and his song faded to a stop. ‘It Follows’ by Cane Hill blasts through the speaker next, and that brings out Xander Payne. He walks out onto the stage, scanning the crowd in attendance.)

Bella Braxton: And his partner – from Brampton, Ontario … this is Xander Payne!

James Peters: Xander Payne walks into this match, with his eyes set on the future. He’s turned his focus to the World Heavyweight championship. If you ask me, I say it’s about time that he applies himself and pushes for it. He was the New Breed God for awhile, remember?

Rich Russillio: Imagine the world championship wrapped around the Best Body in the business?

(Xander enters the ring, glancing at Denis only once, before moving to the ropes and stopping. Looking out into the crowd as his music comes to an end.)

Bella Braxton: And their opponents.. First from Oaklahoma City .. Korey Gaines!

(“Crazy Train” rips through the P.A. brought forth by Ozzy Osbourne’s scream ‘ALL ABOARD!!’. Korey comes out, immediately changing the crowds reaction.)

Bella Braxton: And his partner.. From Indonesia .. this is FA-RELL-V!!

(Korey’s theme music dropped out and was replaced by Nazareth’s “Hair of the Dog”. Farrel V walked out onto the stage and stood next to Korey. The two fist bumped before making their way down the ramp together. Both of whom, reaching out and slapping hands with a few of the fans.)

James Peters: While Xander Payne has had an impressive career, here’s a new comer with a promising future. He’s already been in the ring with several big name athletes and has turned heads. He and his partner both, are two bright stars on Voltage and I for one can’t wait to see what they’re capable of.

Rich Russillio: Tonight will definitely be a test for them. Denis Ryley has been around the block for a bit here in the EAW, and Xander was the New Breed God!

James Peters: You’re right, it’s certainly going to be a test.

(Farrell and Korey have circled the ring, continuing to rile up the audience. Finally, they slip inside and come face to face with their opponents. After a little of jawing back and forth, Denis pushes Farrell and Xander takes a cheap shot to Korey.)

(DING! DING! DING!)

Rich Russillio: We’re starting things off immediately! Xander’s backed Korey into the corner with repeated, rapid fire right hands. Korey tries to cover up but the former New Breed champion changes the direction of his strikes, hitting Korey in the stomach. Xander has a handful of Korey’s hair and tosses him outside of the ring, through the ropes. The impact of Korey landing on the floor is hard.

James Peters: Farrell and Denis are trading shots back and forth. Rights, lefts, elbows, kicks. Denis blocks a haymaker – Dropkick! NO! Farrell sidesteps it! Quick senton by Farrell onto Denis after he’s hit the mat following his miss. Denis is yelling in pain after that senton landed hard on his back, and rolls out of the ring – falling at the feet of Gaines. And look at the look in his eyes! Gaines hasn’t forgotten last week.

Rich Russillio: Farrell is up to his feet, seeing that Denis has went to the outside of the ring. Turning, he sprints to the far ropes – picking up steam.. He’s jumped! SUICIDE DIVE!!

James Peters: SUPERKICK!!!!!!!! XANDER PAYNE JUST FIRED OFF A PERFECTLY TIMED SUPERKICK TO FARRELL JUST BEFORE HIS BODY WENT THROUGH THE ROPES! Oh man, Farrell’s body just hit the mat and went limp. He is definitely out right now, that’s how impactful Xander’s superkick was.

Rich Russillio: In the meantime, Gaines has lunged for Denis – but Denis grabs Gaines’ trunks and pulls him back, facefirst into the apron. Oh now Xander’s grabbed Gaines’ hair and pulls him up to the apron and through the ropes – holding him there… ROPE HUNG DDT!! Xander drags Gaines into the ring more and shouts at the referee, demanding he count.

(ONE..
TW–)

Rich Russillio: Kick out by Gaines before the two count.

James Peters: It looks like now we’re going to see some structure in this match. Denis has climbed onto the apron and stands outside in his corner. Farrell made some movements a moment ago, having managed to pull himself into his corner – but he still lays on the apron.

Rich Russillio: Xander’s dragged Gaines into the corner, lifting him up. He has every intention of tagging,.. GAINES FIRES A FOREARM! It hits Xander directly in the jaw, backing him up. BACK ELBOW to Denis, knocking him off of the apron. Gaines charges out of the corner.. KITCHEN SINK COUNTER BY XANDER! Gaines eats the knee to the stomach and flips down to the mat.

James Peters: Xander looks furious. He turns back to Gaines, reaching down to grab him from the mat – but Gaines kicks his leg up and connects with the top of Xander’s head! Gaines is back up quickly with a kip-up. Xander charges at him, Gaines side steps and Xander hits the ropes. HURRICANRANA TAKEDOWN BY GAINES!

Rich Russillio: Xander’s own momentum sees him rolling out of the ring. He meets with Denis on the floor, Denis checking on him.. Both men taking their eyes off of Gaines.

James Peters: Ferrell has finally made his way to his feet, accepting a tag from Gaines. The two high-fliers in the ring now … hitting the ropes … DOUBLE SUICIDE DIVE!!!

Rich Russillio: WOW! THAT WAS BRILLIANT! The two high fliers of the match, using their strengths to their advantage.

James Peters: Xander and Denis have crashed into the barrier under the weight of the flying Gaines and Farrell. Farrell and Gaines continue their assault, keeping them pressed against the barrier and feeding them strikes. Gaines on Denis, feeding him rapid fire right hands that land on the jaw. Farrell has Zander braced against the barrier, using him for kick-boxing practice.

(ONE…TWO….THREE…FOUR…)

Rich Russillio: The referee has begun the count. Xander has managed to catch one of Farrell’s kicks, pulling his leg back and slamming it into the barrier. Farrell is in agony, holding his leg. Xander stays on the attack, stomping on the leg a number of times before grabbing him up and tossing him knees and legs first into the steel steps!

James Peters: Gaines hasn’t let up on his attack to Denis. He’s pouring all of his rage and aggression into this because of what Denis has previously done to him. Gaines pulls Denis away from the barrier… BLUE THUNDER BOMB!! OH MY GOD!! INSTEAD OF POWERBOMBING HIM ONTO THE FLOOR, DENIS GETS SPUN OUT AND LANDS ONTOP OF THE BARRIER!! HIS BACK BENDING AWKWARDLY AFTER THE IMPACT!

(FIVE… SIX… SEVEN… EIGHT….)

Rich Russillio: Xander has made his way over, grabbing Gaines and rushing him toward the far side barrier. Wait! Gaines stops the momentum with his foot flat against the barrier. He drives his elbow into Xander’s stomach two, three times – freeing himself of Xander’s grip. Xander backs away..

James Peters: GAINES EFFORTLESSLY JUMPS UP ONTO THE BARRIER, MOONSAULTING OFF OF IT AND LANDING BEHIND XANDER – GRABBING HIM AND HITTING AN INVERTED DDT!! The quickness of this kid is phenomenal, Rich!

(NINE… TEN!!

DING! DING! DING!)

Rich Russillio: The referee has called for the bell, this match is a double count out it seems.

James Peters: Neither team were able to return to the ring after it broke down to a brawl on the outside. Farrell is only just beginning to pull himself to his feet, Denis is still holding his back in pain. Xander has moved to the barrier and sits against it, and the only one standing right now – Gaines – is looking up, disappointed that he couldn’t return in to break the count.

Bella Braxton: Due to neither team answering the ten call, the official has ruled this match a Double Countout.

James Peters: Denis is finally pulling himself up to his feet right behind Gaines now. He’s just clued in that the match was thrown out – SUPERKICKKKK!!!!! GAINES JUST SUPERKICKED DENIS’ HEAD CLEAN OFF OF HIS SHOULDERS!

Rich Russillio: That’s what happens. It’s called payback.

James Peters: He’s getting what he deserves, and then some. Gaines has mounted Denis’ fallen body, and proceeds to feed him closed-fist punches. I don’t know what to make of this, though. Gaines is normally a laid back individual, and right now he’s showing aggression that we haven’t seen before.

Rich Russillio: I don’t know, but I kind of enjoy it to be honest with you.

James Peters: Gaines has stopped driving his fist into Denis’ head and pulls him up to his feet. Grabbing him and pushing him shoulder first into the steel post! He doesn’t let him drop, and drives his shoulder into that post again.. AND AGAIN! Denis is in extreme agony now..

Rich Russillio: HOLD ON! SOMEONE’S JUST HOPPED OVER THE BARRIER! IT’S JACKSON BLAYDE!! THE NATIONAL ELITE CHAMPION HAS HOPPED OVER THE BARRIER AND TAKES FARRELL OUT WITH A HUGE FOREARM TO THE BACK OF THE HEAD!!

James Peters: Farrell had literally just gotten back to his feet, favoring his leg a little – when Jackson attacked him from behind. The force of that shot sending Farrell sprawling to the floor, his head nearly colliding with the stairs.

Rich Russillio: Jackson has grabbed Farrell up, and this time he DOES collide with the stairs, again, because Jackson powerfully throws him into them!

James Peters: Gaines has been pulled away from Denis by a couple of referees. Gaines is heated, didn’t take being attacked last week too lightly. I think Denis will regret that move he made.

Rich Russillio: Another group of referees stand between Jackson and Farrell now. They’re asking Jackson to stop the assault…

James Peters: And during all of this, Xander Payne has snuck away and escaped, unscathed from all of this chaos. We’re going to go to a quick commercial break.

(Voltage cuts to commercial.)

(Commercial break for Lupe Fiasco. Happy belated birthday, GOAT.)

(After the commercial break, we return to the ringside area where Jackson Blayde is standing in the center of the ring holding a microphone. Jazmin has made her way down to the ring, and stands next to Jackson with the National Elite championship folded against her chest.)

Jackson Blayde: This is the part of the show where I would come down here, and talk to all of you about living the Blaydemerica dream. But instead, I’m going to talk to you about squandering that dream and letting it all slip out of your hands. There are so many people here, and I also am referring to the people in the lockerroom, that are content with floating by. Content with living mediocre lives, content with having mediocre jobs, and content with not making the jump to better themselves. There’s opportunity everywhere, ladies and gentlemen. You just have to take it!

(Jackson looked around the arena for a moment, allowing that to sink in with all of the fans. Jazmin nodded her head in agreement with everything he just said.)

Jackson Blayde: The Blaydemerica Dream is available for everyone, all you have to do is work hard and take risks when you see them. But there’s too many people that just ask for handouts, too afraid to do the dirty work to make that dream a reality. When we went overseas, I began the Blaydemerica Dream invitational, offering people in different places – something they could never have. Opportunity. I come back to my homeland though, and I’m asked if I’m just going to give out opportunities to people who have – until now – been to complacent to step up and take their shot. To the people who have been too afraid of hard work, like the kind I’ve put in to be champion in the first place. Why would I do that? Why would I undermine the system that we have in place here, where hard work pays off? No one handed me anything. No one offered an invitational for this championship. I had to step up and take the opportunity when I saw it. So, to answer your question; NO I will not be offering the championship opportunity to just anyone. I’m not going to take the risk of someone undeserving to come out here. I’m not going to take the risk on someone who’s been floating along at the bottom of the barrel, coming down here when they don’t deserve it. My associate and I have spent this week looking for someone who was deserving of the opportunity, and finally we found one. So I will defend my championship tonight .. against him. So let’s bring him out..

(Jackson and Jazmin both turn to the stage, expecting the hand-chosen opponent for his ‘Blaydemerican Dream’ match. A cliche rock riff hits the P.A. to bring out this mysterious person. A couple of brief moments passed before someone emerged from the backstage area, but it wasn’t who Jackson or Jazmin was expecting. With a tail of referees following him – Farrell V was moving down the ramp with as much speed as he could, after having his leg targeted not too long ago.)

Jackson Blayde: NO! NO! THIS ISN’T WHO I WANTED OUT HERE! STOP HIM!

(His shouts to the referees didn’t help. Instead by now Farrell had rolled into the ring and tackled Jackson down to the mat.)

Rich Russillio: FARRELL V HAS JUST INTERRUPTED THE BLAYDEMERICAN DREAM MATCH! HE’S TAKEN JACKSON DOWN WITH A DOUBLE LEG TAKEDOWN AND IS RAPIDLY PUNCHING OUR NATIONAL ELITE CHAMPION IN THE HEAD!! SOMEONE GET IN THERE AND GET HIM OFF OF PRESIDENT BLAYDE!

James Peters: Consider this payback for Jackson blindsiding Farrell after the tag team match. Even with his leg in obvious pain, Farrell is running on pure adrenaline right now. Their up to their feet, brawling all around the ring. Farrell has the upper hand, that adrenaline coursing through his entire body – pushing him to another level completely!

Rich Russillio: GET AWAY FROM HIM, JACKSON! GET OUT OF THERE!!

James Peters: Farrell whips Jackson into the ropes.. SPINNING WHEEL KICK!! FARRELL’S BOOT CONNECTS WITH JACKSON’S MOUTH, SENDING THE CHAMPION DOWN TO THE MAT.

Rich Russillio: JACKSON!!! WHAT ARE THESE REFEREE’S DOING?! THIS IS AN ASSASSINATION OF OUR PRESIDENT AND THEY’RE JUST WATCHING!

James Peters: Farrell’s attack has Jackson reeling. He’s bleeding a little from the mouth, maybe a busted lip. He’s picking himself up to his feet. Why is Jazmin still in the ring, though?

Rich Russillio: Can’t you see? She’s the one trying to stop this heathen from attacking our champion. She’s been shouting and yelling at him, and now she’s helping President Blayde up. No doubt telling him to exit immediately..

James Peters: Jackson’s back to his feet, Jazmin attending to his lip ..

Jazmin (off mic): JACKSON LOOK OUT!

(Jackson turns around just in time to see Farrell lunging forward!)

(SMACK!)

Rich Russillio: NOOOO!!!!! FARRELL JUST KICKED THE FIRST LADY OF BLAYDEMERICA JAZMIN IN THE FACE!!!

James Peters: FARRELL ATTEMPTED A BIG BOOT, AIMING FOR JACKSON BLAYDE – BUT JACKSON DUCKED OUT OF THE WAY A SPLIT SECOND BEFORE THE IMPACT, AND FARRELL CAUGHT JAZMIN INSTEAD!!

(Farrell V stands over the fallen body of Jazmin. Immediately after the big boot connected with her jaw, the championship went flying out of her hands and came to rest at Jackson’s feet. The look of shock on his face, immediately turns to concern for her. She was caught in the crossfire and was an innocent casualty. Farrell turns around..)

Rich Russillio: JACKSON JUST SMOKED FARRELL WITH THE NATIONAL ELITE CHAMPIONSHIP! THAT’S WHAT YOU GET FOR KICKING THE FIRST LADY!

James Peters: Farrell is out cold, and the championship shot busted his forehead wide open. Blood is pouring down his face. Jackson’s dropped the title and kneels over Farrell, smashing his fist into Farrell’s head. Now he’s grabbing the championship and shoving it in Farrell’s face..

Jackson Blayde (off mic): This is closest you will EVER get to this championship, do you understand me?! THE CLOSEST YOU WILL EVER GET!

(Jackson moves off of Farrell and exits the ring, reaching back inside to pull Jazmin out. He puts Jazmin over his shoulder and walks up the ramp, carrying the championship in his free hand. All the while Farrell laying out on the mat, bloodied.)

James Peters: Well, Jackson sent a message to Farrell tonight, but you have to admire the tenacity of Farrell coming out here and throwing down with Jackson, even after hurting his leg in the previous match.

Rich Russillio: I don’t have to admire anything. Jackson Blayde is a champion, our National Elite champion at that, and poor Jazmin did not deserve that.

James Peters: It was clearly meant for Jackson. And Farrell had every right to want some kind of revenge after Jackson attacked him.

Rich Russillio: Agree to disagree.

(Voltage fades to commercial break.)

(Commercial break for Lemon Pledge. It’s not just Consuela Rose Ava’s finisher. It’s a damn good surface cleaner as well!)

(Voltage returns from break and cuts to Bella inside the ring.)

Bella Braxton: The following contest is scheduled for ONE FALL……

Crowd: ONE FALL!!!

(The lights go out as ‘Enemy Strike’ by Yuki Hayashi begins playing. Frames of Myles’ wrestling skill and domination flicker in and out on the tron, perfectly synced with the music. As the chorus begins, the lights return, especially focusing on Myles who is standing on top of the ramp. He has a Gold and Black attire, with a matching cape draped over him and a intimidating skull mask made of gold.)

Bella Braxton: Introducing first….He hails from Melbourne, Australia…..He weighs in at TWO HUNDRED AND EIGHT POUNDS…..He’s known as ‘THE SOLDIER’……This is…….MYYYYYYLLLLLEEEEESSSS!!!

James Peters: Here’s a man that really like, Rich! He’s got great potential to do lots of things! He’s kept up with the busy and demanding schedule, coming back week after week and showing us something different! I love it!

Rich Russillio: Yes, indeed, James! You want quality? This man has it! He’s brought his own brand and style to Voltage and he’s got future star written all over him. I can’t wait to see this matchup!

(He is standing completely still, eyes fixed on the ring. He starts marching down the ramp, and comes to a halt at the end of it. Myles finally looks around and consumes the energy of the fans and the arena. He backs up a bit, before charging towards the south corner pole and slides underneath it, ending up on the south apron. He stands up on the apron, looking dead straight at the hard camera before taking off his mask and entering the ring. Myles’ music fades out.)

Bella Braxton: And introducing his opponent…He hails from Oakland, California…..He weighs in at TWO HUNDRED AND THIRTY POUNDS….He’s known as ‘THE BLUE MOON’….This is……LETHAAAALLLLLLLLL CONSEQUENNNNCCCCCCEEEESSSSSS!!!

James Peters: Well, LC has had a tough go at things lately, having just come up short himself at King of Elite where he had the chance to secure himself the Openweight Championship. Of course, we can place some blame on POP for that.

Rich Russillio: I’m curious to see what LC brings to the table tonight. He was unusually quiet this week, having nothing to say about Myles. Last week, LC told the world he won’t get back inside the ring with POP again unless something big is on the line. I have to wonder if he was serious when he said he doesn’t need Voltage.

(‘Blackout’ by Company Flow begins to play and out walks Lethal Consequences. The crowd greets him with a mixed reaction. He takes his time walking down to the ring, soaking up the atmosphere, and barely paying any attention to Myles. Once LC slips inside the ring, he looks at Myles and shrugs his shoulders.)

Lethal Consequences (Off Mic and to Myles): Who are you?

(DING! DING! DING!)

James Peters: And that’s the bell, and here comes Myles shooting out of the corner at the Hall of Famer, Lethal Consequence! But LC dodges the flying knee, avoiding any contact whatsoever! Myles is game though as he moves in on LC who himself is on the move! LC stops though and seems ready to move in himself now on the rookie, Myles! Both go in for a collar and elbow tie up! LC gouges the eyes of Myles! Myles holds his hands at his face. LC certainly getting a little dirty to start things off!

Rich Russillio: Yeah, not a lot flash there, James! But it effectively gets him the result he wants even as the referee is admonishing his actions! LC forces the rookie Myles into a corner! LC throws some rights at the defenseless Myles who tries to cover up! And now a knife edged chop to the chest of Myles who holds his chest in pain as LC smirks out at the crowd! LC whips Myles out of the corner to the opposite corner but Myles reverses it, decides to hang on AND COMES BACK AT LC WITH A POWERFUL LARIAT THAT KNOCKS THE HALL OF FAMER LC OFF HIS FEET! LC HURRIES BACK TO HIS FEET HOWEVER ONLY TO BE KNOCKED BACK DOWN BY ANOTHER LARIAT! And Myles has quickly turned things around in his favor! Perhaps too much overconfidence by LC is coming back to bite him now as the man known as The Soldier grabs up LC and has him up on his shoulders! HE’S GOT HIM UP FOR THE DE FACTO! HE’S LOOKING FOR THAT SPINNING PUMPHANDLE SAMOAN DROP!

James Peters: NO! LC pulls on the hair of Myles, and now starts elbowing him in the head! Myles drops LC who gets up and comes at Myles with a full head of steam! AND A BIG BOOT BY THE AUSTRALIAN TO THE FACE OF THE ONCOMING LC! LC begins holding his face as he rolls toward the ropes instinctively! LC now continues his roll under the bottom rope and out of the ring to the floor where he lands on his feet! He still holds his face and looks up toward his opponent and then with disgusted look on his face as utters some words while the referee starts his count!

Referee: ONE!…TWO!…THREE!…FOUR!…

Rich Russillio: I don’t know where LC is going as Myles gestures for LC to get back in the ring! LC simply waves him off as he backpedals up the ramp!

Referee: SEVEN!…EIGHT!…NINE!…

James Peters: Myles looks none too amused by this! He’s very puzzled as he looks to the referee and flails his arms up in disgust himself!

Referee: TEN!

(Referee signals to ring the bell.)

(DING! DING! DING!)

(Referee raises the hand of Myles as Bella Braxton steps forward to make the announcement.)

Bella Braxton: The winner of this match as a result of a count out…….MYYYYLLLLEEEESSSS!!!

(‘Enemy Strike’ by Yuki Hayashi picks back up as Myles yanks his hand away in disgust about the way he won.)

Rich Russillio: Well, while that certainly wasn’t what all the preparation for a big match such as this was meant to do, it’s ‘The Soldier’ who gets the win here tonight over the Hall of Famer Lethal Consequences as a result of a count out! Personally, I’d be a little frustrated too myself!

James Peters: The kid shouldn’t let this one eat at him too much. I mean, after all, he can’t control things like this! It’s clear LC had other things on his mind tonight, and wasn’t about to let a rookie like Myles to take advantage of the situation! There could be another opportunity later on at some point for these two to hook up, but one thing is pretty clear! This kid Myles has no fear! He got out to a slow start, but as soon as he got going and started rolling it was the man known as the ‘Blue Moon’ that found himself trying to regroup! Myles has a good future ahead, and I personally look forward to seeing it all unfold!

(The shot shows Myles in the ring looking out at the crowd as he hops from the ring. He’s not still not happy at all as Voltage fades to commercial break.)

(Commercial break for peanut butter and jelly. If they can overcome the odds and find their way back together, so can MarrKade. :mjcry:)

(Voltage returns to commercial and cuts to the backstage area. Captain Charisma is seen sitting behind his desk. He’s going to be the one to give the update on Rex McAllister.)

Captain Charisma: We’re going to keep this short and sweet. At King of Elite, Rex McAllister and Impact faced off in one of the most barbaric and dangerous matches Elite Answers Wrestling has ever seen. Regardless of your opinion of both men, they laid their lives and careers on the line, and all for the World Heavyweight Championship. While neither of them walked away with the title, both of them left with the respect and admiration of the entire EAW Universe. That being said, both men sustained multiple injuries, and both men were offered extensive time off. Impact took us up on the offer and we hope to see him sometime in the future. As far as Rex goes, he declined extended time off and is ready to make his return to the ring.

(The crowd can be heard cheering at Captain Charisma’s announcement.)

Captain Charisma: Rex passed every test this weekend at the EAW Performance Center, and is more than ready to step back inside the ring. So next week in Buenos Aires, Rex has opted to to cash in his rematch clause and face Noah Reigner for the EAW World Heavyweight Championship! These two put on an absolute classic the last time they faced one another, and no doubt they’ll deliver once again.

(The crowd pops again, clearly excited about Rex’s return and the fact his return match will be for the title! Voltage fades to commercial.)

(Commercial break for romance featuring Mr. DEDEDE. “You know how I operate, I don’t so much as even speak to women unless I’m fucking them.” OMG swoon!!!)

(Voltage returns and Bella is standing by inside the ring once again.)

Bella Braxton: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN… THE FOLLOWING CONTEST IS SCHEDULED FOR…

Crowd: ONE FALL!!!!!

(‘It Aint Safe’ by Skepta hits the PA system and the crowd immediately erupts in a chorus of jeers.)

Bella Braxton: INTRODUCING FIRST… FROM TOWER HAMLETS, LONDON… WEIGHING IN AT 240 POUNDS… CHARLIE MARR!!!!

(Charlie emerges from behind the guerilla curtain and an arrogant little smirk crosses his face. He takes in the reaction of the crowd, enjoying it, encouraging it, and even closing his eyes. Charlie lets it all wash over him before he makes his way down to the ring.)

James Peters: Listen to this crowd…

Crowd: FUCK YOU CHARLIE!!! FUCK YOU CHARLIE!!! FUCK YOU CHARLIE!!!

Rich Russillio: What Charlie did was horrible. There’s honestly no other way to describe it and the fact he has absolutely no remorse for his actions is sick. Charlie Marr is sick and he is going to regret what he did to Daryl Kinkade. Karma is a real bitch, and she is not fucking around. This is going to come back to Charlie. I know it will.

James Peters: You are really upset about this MarrKade break-up aren’t you?

Rich Russillio: My tag team hopes and dreams died last week and their interviews with Sofia that aired earlier did nothing to restore my faith.

James Peters: :wow:

(Charlie Marr gets inside the ring and continues to soak up the the negative reaction he’s getting. It’s almost like he’s enjoying it. Classic Charlie. After a few moments, Charlie’s music fades away. ‘A Story To Tell’ by Woe is Me begins to play next. The crowd stops chanting ‘FUCK YOU CHARLIE’, but they’re still not happy. As soon as Jack Ripley steps onstage, the audience also lets him have it.)

Bella Braxton: AND HIS OPPONENT… FROM LAS VEGAS, NEVADA… WEIGHING IN AT 202 POUNDS… HE IS THE STRAIGHT SHOOTER… JACK RIPLEY!!!!

Rich Russillio: Well the fans really seem excited for this match…

James Peters: I don’t think these people will ever forgive Jack Ripley for his association with Theron Nikolas and Mr. DEDEDE.

Rich Russillio: You’re right. It’s going to take an awful lot to humanize Jack Ripley in the eyes of these unforgiving fans. The original 1% caused nothing but heartache and pain over on Friday Night Dynasty. Jack Ripley played a huge role in all of that.

(Jack makes his way to the ring, ignoring the fans along the way. As Jack makes his way up the ringsteps, the camera cuts to Jack’s sister who is sitting in the front row just like she promised.)

Rich Russillio (barely audible): What a fuckin’ smokeshow.

James Peters: You know the mic picked that up, right?

(Jack slides into the ring and immediately, Jack and Charlie are in one another’s faces. The official in charge of the match cautiously steps between them and calls for the bell.)

(Ding! Ding! Ding!)

Rich Russillio: The official gets out of the way and that allows Charlie Marr and Jack Ripley the space they need to step right back up to one another. There’s zero respect between these two men and a history that dates back to last year’s Pain for Pride extravaganza. The history there is well documented, and this match tonight is another chapter in this blossoming rivalry.

James Peters: We start off with a stiff exchange of forearm shots. I’m not surprise that it’s going to be that kind of match. Charlie catches Jack in the jaw with another one, which sends the Straight Shooter back a step. Jack is smirking at Charlie, though, clearly prepared for this. Charlie brings the size and power advantage to this match, but Jack has speed and probably the only person who can match Charlie in terms of actual aggression.

Rich Russillio: Jack fires back with a forearm and this time it’s Charlie who staggers back. The former Unified Tag Team Champion plants his feet though and he strikes back! Jack Ripley hits the mat! Ripley shakes his head and checks to make sure he’s not bleeding.

James Peters: He’s not.

Rich Russillio: Charlie quickly goes to the ropes as Jack gets himself into a seated position, but Ripley is quick to drop down, roll to the ropes, and get back up. He leapfrogs over Charlie! Charlie hits the ropes! Jack hooks Charlie! Armdrag takedown into a side headlock! Charlie uses his power to return them both to a vertical base, but Jack maintains control and snaps Charlie back down to the mat. Charlie is a very underrated wrestler, though. He uses his legs to grab Jack in a headscissors, forcing the RIP Daddy into a vulnerable position, however Jack is able to kick out of the headscissors and both men return to their feet. They go back at one another with Jack once again getting Charlie in a side headlock. I love pure wrestling!

James Peters: You’re also the first person to wish for a match to end in a bloodbath.

Rich Russillio: I also love blood.

James Peters: Charlie secures his arms around Jack’s waist, and attempts to muscle him off. But Jack tightens his grip. Charlie attempts to force them both back towards the ropes, but Jack with the hip toss to bring Charlie down into a seated position. He lets go of that headlock, and unleashes a series of shoot style kicks to Charlie’s back! Jack backs up and uses the ropes to spring forward… dropkick to the back! Charlie’s face hits the mat, and Jack turns him over for a quick cover!

OOONNNEEE!!!

TTTTWWWW-

Rich Russillio: Charlie with the kickout! Jack immediately wraps Charlie in another side headlock, and Charlie once again forces both of them back up to their feet. Charlie with the elbow shots to Jack’s gut now, causing Jack to break. Charlie looks for a clothesline takedown, but Jack ducks! Jack slips behind Charlie and locks his arms around Charlie’s midsection! Charlie blocks the German suplex attempt! Reverses their positions! Jack quickly reverses as well. He grabs Charlie by the arm and attempts a wrist lock, but Charlie catches him in the stomach with a boot! Charlie grabs Jack by the neck and snaps him down to the mat with a DDT!!! Charlie Marr with the cover now!

OOONNNEEE!!!

TTTTWWWWOOO-

James Peters: Jack Ripley with the kick out!!!

Rich Russillio: Charlie jerks Jack up by the hair and attempts to whip him into the ropes. Jack plants his feet and reverses the whip. Charlie is not going anywhere, and he grabs Jack around the waist. Jack forces him off, goes for the headlock, but this time Charlie anticipates it. He shoves Jack off and goes for a takedown, but slips out of it. The two lock up now… traditional collar and elbow tie up. Both of them attempt to force the other against the ropes, but neither man is willing to give an inch to the other tonight. It’s finally Charlie who sends Jack across the ring! Jack hits the ropes and he ducks under the clothesline attempt by Charlie! Jack leaps in the air… looking to take Charlie down a flying headscissors! Charlie catches him though!! He counters with a backbreaker! Lateral press and a cover!

OOONNNEE-

James Peters: Jack gets his shoulder up!

Rich Russillio: Charlie pulls Jack into a sitting position and maintains their position on the ground! Jack is grabbing for his lower back, and Charlie begins attacking him with a series of headbutts to that lower back and between the shoulder blades. We all know Charlie Marr has very little regard for the human body, including his own, and he will do whatever he can to hurt his opponents. Jack is able to get to the ropes, but Charlie is back to his feet. Jack tries to get some space between them… he shoves Charlie back, and heads to the corner to pull himself up. Charlie is right there though. He drops Jack to his knees with an elbow to the back of the neck and he jerks Jack up! Charlie grabs Jack up and throws him into the opposite corner! Jack hits the top turnbuckle chest first and falls to the mat! Charlie with another quick cover!

OOONNNEEE!!!

TTT-

James Peters: Jack gets the shoulder up but that doesn’t stop Charlie from his attack! He drops another headbutt to Jack’s lower back and now he’s burying his knee into that sweet spot, right between the shoulder blades! He grabs Jack in a chinlock and with that knee wedged there for leverage, the Straight Shooter is in a lot of trouble right now. Charlie maintains that position for a few seconds before following up with several knee strikes to the back! Charlie goes for another quick cover…

OOONNNEEE!!!

Rich Russillio: The official never makes it to two because Jack gets his shoulder up.

James Peters: Charlie is pulling Jack to his feet now and he unleashes a huge chop to Jack’s chest that absolutely echoes throughout this sold out arena! He follows it up with a stiff punch to the head and Jack falls back against the ropes. Charlie goes for another stiff right, but Jack is able to block and get his foot up. He kicks Charlie back to finally put some space between them and Jack straightens up, and fires off a chop of his own! Jack grabs Charlie by the neck and strikes him several times in the face with stiff forearm shots, and Charlie fires back with a headbutt that sends Jack to the mat. Charlie leans down to grab Jack, but Jack still has the presence of mind to hook the neck and roll up Charlie!

OOONNNEEE!!!

TTTTWWWWOOO-

Rich Russillio: Charlie powers out!!!

James Peters: Jack and Charlie are both back to their feet now and it’s Jack who brings Charlie down with a drop toe hold! Charlie lands against the ropes and Jack reaches through the ropes to pull Charlie up and wrap him in a choke! The official is forced to start administering the five count! Jack lets go at the absolute last second, and jerks Charlie out from underneath the ropes. He pulls Charlie up and goes to toss him into the corner, but Charlie reverses and it’s Jack who ends up in the corner. Charlie charges but Jack moves! Charlie stops himself from crashing but Jack with a sunset flip! Jack with the cover!

OOONNNEEE!!!

TTTTWWWWOOO-

Rich Russillio: Charlie with another kick out!

James Peters: Jack immediately reverses into a crucifix style pinning combination!!!

OOONNNEEE!!!

TTTTWWWWOOO-

Rich Rusillio: Again Charlie gets out of it!

James Peters: Both men are back up now, and Jack swings wildly with a clothesline! Charlie ducks and grabs the leg, looking to bring Jack down! Jack nails him in the jaw with an uppercut! Charlie lets go and grabs his jaw and Jack springs into the air!!! Flipping dropkick to the chest! Charlie hits the mat, and Jack gets back up, the momentum clearly in his favor now! Jack grabs Charlie up and sends him with right back down with a belly-to-belly suplex, and now Jack is looking to take a risk! Jack heads for the turnbuckles and gets himself set…

Rich Russillio: MOONSAULT FROM THE TOP!!!!

James Peters: JACK LANDS ON CHARLIE!!!! HE HOOKS THE LEGS FOR THE COVER!!!!

OOONNNEEE!!!

TTTTWWWWOOOO!!!!

TTTTTHHHHHRRRRREEE-

Rich Russillio: CHARLIE GETS THE SHOULDER UP!!!

James Peters: Jack rolls off of Charlie and grabs him up by the beard!

Rich Russillio: Charlie fights Jack off with a forearm shot to the face, but Jack connects with one of his own! Charlie fires back, and Jack returns the favor. They’re exchanging forearms now! This match has been so solid.

James Peters: Jack switches things up and stuns Charlie with an open handed palm strike to the face! The Straight Shooter fires off a series of them now, catching Charlie in the face and ears. He looks for an Irish whip now, but Charlie jerks him forward! This time it’s Jack with a headbutt and he sends Charlie to the mat. Jack once against uses the ropes to his advantage and he comes flying forward right as Charlie gets himself into a sitting position! Jack connects with the Daylight Slaying Time!!!

Rich Russillio: That running knee strike to the face sent Charlie flat on his back and now Jack goes for the cover!!!

OOONNNEEE!!!

TTTTWWWWOOOO!!!!

TTTTTHHHHHRRRRREEEEEEEE-

James Peters: CHARLIE GETS HIS SHOULDER UP!!!

Rich Russillio: A little bit of frustration crosses the face of Jack Ripley, but nonetheless he gets back up and pulls Charlie up with him! Jack with an uppercut to Charlie. Charlie tries to fire back with a right hand, but Jack blocks it! He gets Charlie with another uppercut! AND ANOTHER!!! Jack with the Irish whip now, but Charlie reverses! It’s Jack who flies into the ropes and comes rushing back towards Charlie! Jack leaps up, but Charlie catches him! THE HEADMASTER RITUAL!!! THAT SPINEBUSTER JUST PLANTED JACK RIPLEY INTO THE MAT AND CHARLIE GOES FOR THE COVER!!!!

OOONNNEEE!!!

TTTTWWWWOOOO!!!!

TTTTTHHHHHRRRRREEEEEEEE-

James Peters: JACK RIPLEY KICKS OUT!!!

Rich Russillio: CHARLIE MARR CAN’T BELIEVE IT!!!

James Peters: Charlie looks at the official almost as if the official made a mistake and counted too slow.

Rich Russillio: He’s wasting time though and it’s finally clicked in Charlie’s head that’s what he’s doing. He reaches down to grab Jack, but JACK WITH A ROLL UP INTO A SCHOOLBOY PIN!!!!

OOONNNEEE!!!

TTTTWWWWOOOO!!!!

TTTTTHHHHHRRRRREEEEEEEEEE!!!!!

(Ding! Ding! Ding!)

Bella Braxton: AND HERE IS YOUR WINNER… JACK RIPLEY!!!!

James Peters: HE GOT HIM!

Rich Russillio: JACK RIPLEY WINS AGAIN ON VOLTAGE!!!!

(‘A Story To Tell’ by Woe, Is Me begins to blast across the PA system. The official raises Jack’s hand and Charlie looks on in sheer disbelief over what just happened. Jack rolls out of the ring and celebrates his victory, while Charlie stares up at the video screen to see the replay.)

James Peters: Charlie Marr looks absolutely furious that Jack Ripley was about to sneak out a quick victory. Charlie gave Jack a little too much time to recover, and Jack is smart. He noticed what was going and waited for his opportunity.

(Jack has made his way over to his sister, who had spent the entire match completely swept up in the action. Meanwhile, Charlie Marr has slammed his fist into the mat in frustration and gotten out of the ring.)

Rich Russillio: Wait a minute, Charlie Marr is making his way over here. What’s he doing?!

Charlie Marr (Off Mic to Bella Braxton): GET YOUR CUNT ASS UP, SLAG!

James Peters: :lupe:

(Charlie places his hands on Bella and basically tosses her to the ground. He grabs the steel chair she had been sitting in, folds it up, and makes his way over to where Jack has his back turned.)

Rich Russillio: CHARLIE MARR FROM BEHIND!!!! JACK DOESN’T SEE HIM!!!!

(What happens next might as well have happened in slow motion.)

James Peters: CHARLIE MARR SWINGS THE CHAIR!!!!!

Jordie Ripley (Off Mic): JACK LOOK OUT!!!

Rich Russillio: JACK WHIRLS AROUND!!!!

CCCCCCCRRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAACCCCCCCCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!

Crowd: *dramatic gasp*

James Peters: JACK RIPLEY’S SISTER SHOVED HIM OUT OF THE WAY AND JUST ATE A STEEL CHAIR SHOT!!!!

(REPLAY: Charlie sneaks up behind Jack, getting set, and swings the chair. Jordie Ripley screams at her brother! Jack turns and right as the chair is about to connect and hit him in the face, Jordie takes it upon herself to shove Jack out of the way! The steel chair connects with her face and skull and she crumbles to the ground, sending everyone beside her scrambling in various directions.)

(The SMALLEST hint of shock flashes in Charlie’s bright blue eyes. Jack is picking himself up off the ground and it takes him a moment to register what just happened. Various security officers and the official who had been in charge of the match have appeared at Jordie’s side. She’s unconscious and her nose has been busted open. She’s covered in her own blood and bruising has already started to appear on her pale face. When Jack sees his sister, he’s unable to react at first. He finally drags his eyes away from her fallen body and looks at the chair dangling from Charlie Marr’s hands. Charlie Marr reacts in the only way he knows how.)

Rich Russillio: CHARLIE SWINGS… LOOKING TO CONNECT WITH JACK’S FACE AND TAKE HIM OUT NOW!!! JACK DUCKS AND DRIVES HIS SHOULDER INTO CHARLIE’S GUT! HE DRIVES CHARLIE BACK AGAINST THE RING POST!!! JACK LOOKS TO CONNECT WITH A RIGHT HAND, BUT CHARLIE MOVES AND JACK’S HAND SLAMS INTO THE RING POST!!!

James Peters: CHARLIE GRABS JACK FROM BEHIND AND TURNS HIM AROUND!!! CHARING CROSS CONNECTS!!! THE DISCUS LARIAT JUST FLATTENED JACK RIPLEY!!!!

(Charlie looks down at Jack and then back over at the carnage he caused with the chair. EMTs have finally made their way to the ringside area and the barricades are being pulled back so they can get a stretcher into the crowd and get Jordie Ripley out of the building.)

Rich Russillio: Jesus Christ.

James Peters: Should have known we couldn’t have a pure wrestling match without some type of fuckery happening.

Rich Russillio: Ladies and gentlemen, we are going to take a quick break while the EMTs get Jack’s sister out of here.

(Two more officials have made their way down to the ringside area and they’re checking on Jack Ripley. The cameras cut to Charlie Marr who is slowly backing up the ramp, watching the scene unfold. It’s a chaotic and rather dramatic scene, caused by him, and an evil smile slowly crosses his face. Charlie comes to a stop at the top of the stage and raises his arms in the arm. Voltage fades to commercial break.)

(Commercial break for ace bandages. Because ace bandages.)

(Voltage returns from commercial break and cuts to a secluded backstage area, away from the chaos caused by Charlie Marr. Empire Elitist and the newly minted number one contender for the New Breed Championship, Tyler Wolfe, is seen sitting on a piece of equipment talking to World Heavyweight Champion, Noah Reigner. Noah is dressed to compete, his championship sitting beside Tyler on the equipment box. Tyler is wearing a pair of ripped Fashion Nova jeans, a black lace bralette style top, black leather jacket, and her trademark baseball cap turned backwards. Noah apparently says something funny because Tyler actually cracks a smile. The camera zooms in as Captain Charisma walks into the picture. He looks a little stressed, given the situation that just took place, but the show must go on.)

Captain Charisma: Excuse me for interrupting but I actually need to speak to both of you.

(Noah can’t help but roll his eyes, but Tyler looks a little intrigued.)

Tyler Wolfe: Are you here to steal me from Empire? Because I’m more than ready to be kidnapped and taken away from Vagina Island.

Captain Charisma: As much as I would love to have you as a full-time competitor on Voltage, I’m afraid FOX contracts are pretty ironclad for the time being.

(This time it’s Tyler who rolls her eyes to the back of her head. She’s unable to help herself. Captain Charisma lets out a laugh.)

Captain Charisma: However, there are clauses written in for Empire Elitists to make competitive appearances on other brands, no title belt needed. So Tyler, I want to extend a formal invitation for you to compete on Voltage next week. With The Visual Prophet competing on Empire this upcoming week against Andrea Valentine, I think it’s fitting that you show the Voltage faithful who you are as an individual. You’ve been one of the fiercest and most competitive people in this entire company since your arrival and I look forward to seeing what you can do inside our ring.

(Tyler’s ruby red lips twist into a little smirk as she bangs her heels against the equipment box.)

Tyler Wolfe: Did you have a specific opponent in mind?

Captain Charisma: I did. Despite some of our recent matches, Voltage has always prided itself on being the home of the best pure wrestlers in all of EAW. I know you have a hardcore streak, but you also have technical ability that is out of this world. Your opponent for next week, who will be Daryl Kinkade, also has that kind of talent and ability. We’re very happy Daryl has passed concussion protocol and can get back inside the ring immediately. You two are pure wrestlers, looking to break out, and secure yourselves as the future of EAW. It’s a great match and I can’t wait to see two pure athletes just go out there and leave it all on the line.

(Tyler’s blue eyes are practically dancing with excitement.)

Tyler Wolfe: Wolfe versus Kinkade? Sign me up. Let’s do it. I’m going to show everyone why I deserve more than what I’ve gotten from EAW so far. The Visual Prophet is going to get a good look at me, the future New Breed Champion, and he’s going to see exactly what’s in store for him come the Iconic Cup.

Captain Charisma: I have no doubt. So Noah, I assume you are aware that Rex McAllister will be returning to the ring next week and is getting a rematch for the World Heavyweight Championship. I just wanted to give you a heads up that should you get through Rex next week, that championship will be defended once again at Tempest on March 23rd. I have decided that the winner of next week’s match will face Xander Payne at that show.

(Noah looks extremely unimpressed and Tyler can’t help herself. She giggles drawing a glare from her boyfriend. Noah then directs that glare at the Voltage commissioner.)

Noah Reigner: You really think I give a damn about Rex McAllister? I had Rex beat a few weeks ago for this belt. I laid him out with The Killshot like he was nothing. I would have been the World Heavyweight Champion then if it hadn’t been for that aging piece of shit Impact. Destroying his eighth championship reign and starting my first one is the most satisfied I have ever been in my career. If Impact knows what’s good for him, he wtill stay his ass on vacation forever. But yeah, facing Rex again? That match is going to be routine for me. Mr. See You Soon is old news, and he damn sure isn’t going to be the one who ends my championship reign before it gets started properly. I guess I’ll be the one facing Xander at Tempest, and honestly, that’s a joke. Xander Payne pitches a fit and gets rewarded with a championship shot. Figures.

(Noah’s voice is full of disgust and he looks directly into the camera.)

Noah Reigner: Xander, you seriously want to step up to me? You want to actually get inside the ring with The Assault Rifle and face me for the World Heavyweight Championship? This bite you’re taking is too big, even for you. Not even your fat ass can chew on this. I know you live in your own fantasy world and couldn’t tell me what the hell goes on in EAW, but surely you know who I am. Surely you’ve seen Noah Reigner matches and what he’s capable of. I haven’t been in this business for 15 years like you, but I’ve done more than you can even fathom. To step inside the ring with you at Tempest is an insult to me, but I guess it is what it is. After I destroy Rex AGAIN next week, I will turn my attention to you, and I’ll make sure that you never get it in your head that you’re world championship material again. You better pay close attention to what I’m about to do to the so-called New Breed Sovereign.

(Tyler clears her throat and Noah looks at her.)

Tyler Wolfe: Leave a little left me, okay? Sheesh. It’s not always about you.

(Captain Charisma takes that as his cue to leave. Noah simply smirks at Tyler, grabs his title, and heads for the guerilla area. Voltage cuts to commercial.)

(Commercial break for Best Western hotels featuring The Woogieman. Stay at one tonight, if ya smell la la la la la laaaaaaaa what The Woogieman is cookin’!)

(Voltage returns from its final commercial and Bella is standing by like a real one despite Charlie knocking her to the ground awhile ago. It’s main event time!)

Bella Braxton: The following contest is scheduled for one fall!

(‘Another One Bites The Dust’ by Queen blasts through the speaker as the arena erupts to the arrival of the EAW New Breed Champion. The Visual Prophet steps onto the stage, revealing his identity as he walks through the grey smoke. He stands at the start of the ramp, detaching the EAW New Breed Championship from his waist and kissing the nameplate. He then raises it up in the air with a smirk on his face. He begins to walk down the ramp. )

Bella Braxton: INTRODUCING FIRST!!! From Detroit, Michigan, weighing in at 230 pounds…. HE IS THE EAW NEW BREED CHAMPION………… THE VISUAL PROPHET!!!!!!!!!!

(When The Visual Prophet hops off the second turnbuckle, ‘Don’t Stop’ by InnerPartySystem blares throughout the arena, accompanied by a louder, more negative reaction. Noah Reigner shoots from the curtain, accompanied by Evelyn Ridley. He continues down the ramp and into the ring.)

A groggy Evelyn Ridley, who’s mostly recovered from going through the table, helps Noah Reigner up to his feet, lifting his EAW World Heavyweight Championship title up in air, collapsing in joy. )

Bella Braxton: HERE IS YOUR WINNER…. NOOOOAHHH REIIIGNNNER!!!

Rich Russillio: What a match! What a display of fortitude for both of these guys. Starting out, The Visual Prophet was dominant, but towards the end of the match, it was a battle to the death. What a valiant battle the EAW New Breed Champion put up against the very best of EAW, Noah Reigner.

James Peters: The Visual Prophet almost ended the match a number of times. I thought it was over when he hit the Kiss To The Head in midair, but Noah Reigner with his resilience and fortitude, showing why he is the best in EAW, pulling out a devastating Killshot.

Rich Russillio: Vizzy was looking to steal the win with a roll-up and that momentary lapse allowed Noah Reigner to land the patented Killshot, the most devastating strike in the game! Everytime we see Noah Reigner step into the ring and perform, he gets better, and better, and better. This guy proves tonight why he is the best man in the game. He proved why he deserves to have that EAW World Heavyweight Championship in his grasp.

James Peters: The Visual Prophet put the world champion to the limit, taking out his manager and almost defeating him, however Noah Reigner was able to walk out of this match with a win. The Visual Prophet has nothing to be ashamed of. Congratulations to Noah Reigner!

(Noah continues to celebrate this victory alongside Evelyn, and Voltage cuts to the backstage area one final time. Tyler Wolfe has been watching the entire match on one of the monitors and she has a little smile on her face. Tyler is completely unaware that Veena Adams has walked up behind her. After a few moments, the Vanilla Goddess herself clears her throat. Tyler’s smile fades and is replaced with a rather sour look and very slowly, The Walking Weapon turns around. She locks eyes with Veena, and folds her arms across her chest.)

Tyler Wolfe: Can I fucking help you?

Veena Adams: You can start by knowing that you are not welcome on Voltage next week. Matty might have extended the invitation to have you compete, but rest assured this brand will forever remain the home to Kings only. I might not be able to rescind the offer, but believe me, I’ll make sure the experience is not pleasant for you.

(Tyler rolls her eyes.)

Tyler Wolfe: Get fucked, you sexist bitch.

(Veena smiles.)

Veena Adams: I hope you put as much time and effort into watching Vizzy versus Andrea Valentine on Empire, as you did into this match. Because believe me, Vizzy might have come up short tonight, but Andrea has no fucking chance come Thursday night. Viz is going to take that cunt, make an example out of her, and show the entire world exactly what he’s going to do to you come the Iconic Cup. Know your fucking place, bitch.

(Tyler takes one look at Veena and immediately sees red. She doesn’t care about the neckbrace. She doesn’t care about Veena’s last name or the amount of power the woman has.)

Tyler Wolfe: Fuck. You.

(SUPERKICK!)

(Veena drops to the ground and Tyler stalks off.)

(EAW logo buzzes.)
