(RECAP: Last week’s episode of Voltage featured major Road to Redemption implications! The highlight video begins by showing the return of Captain Charisma to Voltage and his announcement that he is back as the Commissioner! He makes sure to stress that there is no Veena Adams this time around, and he makes two qualifying matches for the Extreme Elimination Chamber. CC’s announcement to kick off Voltage would set the tone for the show. Old rivals, The Woogieman and Provençal, would do battle in a high-octane opening bout. Fans were treated to an amazing match and that ended with The Woogieman picking up a much needed win and getting himself back on track.)
(RECAP CONTINUES: Newcomer Joy Cassidy continued to build momentum [and impress CC in the process as we would find out later] when she took on the new Big Boogie Bhampion, Zak Simmons! Joy and Zak would engage in a hard fought match with each other before Joy would pick up her first win on Voltage. Later on that night, Sarah Price would take on Ezio DeLuca in a match that would also catch the eye of the Voltage commissioner. Sarah would defeat Ezio, and both Sarah and Joy would get summoned to Captain Charisma’s office. He would give them both a place in the Specialists Chamber at Road to Redemption, much to the chagrin of Serena Riot and Veena Adams.)
(RECAP CONTINUES: Serena’s frustration over Joy and Sarah getting added to the Specialists Chamber all stemmed from her loss to Terry Chambers. Serena had been given a chance to qualify for the EAW Championship chamber, and she would give it her best shot against the former Interwire Champion. Terry would win the match but it wasn’t without a little bit of controversy. Serena’s feet would be underneath the ropes, but the referee didn’t notice, and kept his decision final. Serena would be furious until Veena informed her of the aforementioned Specialists Chamber. Knowing that there’s another chance to compete in a chamber and for the championship she actually wants seemed to calm Serena down until Joy and Sarah showed up and informed they had both been given spots and that there was only one left.)
(RECAP CONTINUES: Prior to Rex McAllister’s match with Consuela Rose Ava, which saw the two-time world champion pick up a victory, Rex would spend a little quality time with his wife-to-be Raven Roberts. They would do kewt couple things before Raven would head off to a photoshoot. As the Universal Women’s Champion walked backstage, she would get ambushed from behind and knocked silly with the New Breed Championship! Dynasty Elitist, Jenny Cien [who had promised to make her next move soon] would beat down Raven and announce herself as Raven’s challenger at Road to Redemption. Jenny did not hide her desire to become a double champion and do what Raven failed to do last year, and that was enter the new year as the New Breed AND Women’s Champion.)
(RECAP CONTINUES: Dr. Bethany Blue, Nurse Rannanah Goldstein, and Shawn Sturgis are in the medical area. After some chit chat, the Interwire Champion basically forces a flu shot on Shawn. Shawn is in a bit of shock but when Hannah Marin arrives on behalf of Jesse Barlow, Dr. Blue’s opponent for Road to Redemption, all Hell breaks loose. Hannah preaches the good word of her leader, much to absolute shock and disgust of Dr. Blue and Nurse Goldstein. Things escalate and Dr. Blue ends up injecting Hannah with a serum that renders her speechless, and Nurse Goldstein tosses her out of the office. Hannah is obviously frightened and Jesse vows to send a message to Dr. Blue via his opponent that night, who just happens to be Shawn. Jesse does indeed try and send that message. He defeats Shawn in a competitive contest, but is far from satisfied with just getting the victory. He would beat down Shawn after the bell rang to signal the match is over, but Dr. Blue would show up and save the day for her friend.)
(RECAP CONTINUES: The recap comes to a close by showcasing what happened at the very end of Voltage. The fans are reminded that an angry Jack Ripley showed up at the arena earlier that night looking for his sister, Jordie, and the EAW World Champion, Charlie Marr. Jack wouldn’t find them at that moment, but the deadly duo would eventually make their way out to the ring. Charlie would brag about his victory at Wicked Games and then run down Rex and Terry, his two announced opponents for Road to Redemption. Ms. Extreme would make her way down to the ring, proud AF that she was still standing and extremely proud she had nearly ended Charlie’s title reign the previous weekend. The two would go back and forth until Charlie would name drop Andrea Valentine. The former Specialists Champion would come out and that would further provoke Charlie. He would tell both women to just throw their chamber qualifying matches because they didn’t want to deal with him. The situation got even more dramatic when JACK would make his way out. The Straight Shooter would basically manipulate his sister into accepting a challenge for next week which would allow him entry into the chamber if he could defeat Charlie. This would infuriate Charlie, who would yell at Jordie, and then Jack would lay out the champ with a superkick! Voltage would end with a split screen of Rex and Terry watching the chaos unfold on separate monitors from the back.)
(The highlight package fades out and the Voltage pyro begins to explode. It temporarily drowns out “33rd Blakk Glass” by Sosmula & Zillakami, which is playing throughout the building. The smoke clears and as usual, the camera pans around the sold-out Sasktel Centre in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.The passionate Canadian fans are on their feet, going crazy, and waving their signs in the air. They are so excited about Voltage and what could potentially end up going down tonight! The camera finally cuts to the broadcast booth where James Peters and Rich Russillo are seen standing by. Tonight they wear their usual dress slacks and sports coats, and their custom T-shirts show The Woogieman’s face with the slogan ‘Not all heroes wear capes.’ :wow:)
James Peters: WELCOME TO SUNDAY. NIGHT. VOLTAGE!
Rich Russillo: By the end of tonight, the Voltage elimination chamber could be filled out.
James Peters: If Jack Ripley can defeat Charlie Marr in tonight’s main event, then we will officially know who all will be competing for the EAW World Championship in a couple of weeks. In addition to the main event, two more qualifying matches will be taking place. Andrea Valentine will take on Korey Gaines, and Ms. Extreme will face Shortfuse PAKA. Any of those four Elitists would be dangerous inside of a chamber. We already know the lengths Andrea and Ms. Extreme both will go to in order to win, but imagine PAKA inside of a chamber?! That crazy bastard would have weapons and the chamber itself at his disposal and Gawd knows what kind of damage he would cause! :damn:
Rich Russillo: I can see Gaines going HAM! He would be flying all over that chamber, jumping off pods, and probably trying to climb the damn thing. I would love to see Korey get the chance to compete at Road to Redemption in that type of match!
James Peters: We have a stacked card tonight in addition to those three matches. Rex McAllister and Terry Chambers will face off once again and this time in an Extreme Rules match. This will be a preview for the chamber, and I know both of these men are going to go for broke. Another chamber preview match will be taking place featuring three of the women competing inside the Specialists Chamber. Joy Cassidy, Serena Riot, and Sarah Price will do battle tonight in a triple threat match.
Rich Russillo: And ‘The Leading Lady’ Darcy May Morgan will be joining us ???
James Peters: We have a fatal fourway match featuring two Elitists making their debut on Voltage, and we also have our Universal Women’s Champion in action!
Rich Russillo: I don’t know what the fuck a ‘Strong Style Match’ is, but I can’t wait to see Raven Roberts take on The Woogieman in one! After what happened on Voltage last week, and the other night on Dynasty between Raven and The New Breed Baddie, Jenny Cien, I have to wonder if we will see Jenny tonight??
James Peters: But before we get to any of that, we are kicking things off with a Champion versus Bhampion match! The Interwire Champion, Dr. Bethany Blue, will take on the Big Boogie Bhampion, Zak Simmons, in our opening match up.

(Voltage returns to a scene that was captured earlier in the afternoon. The Interwire Champion, Dr. Bethany Blue, is seen heading towards the back exit of the building. She is dressed in her gear, but has thrown a long, heavy black coat over the top of it. She pushes open the doors and heads out into the cold, and her face literally lights up when she spies her mother, Dr. Quincey Cockburn, heading towards the door.)
Dr. Bethany Blue: Mother! You really are here!
(Dr. Quincey Cockburn shivers thanks to the cold and tightens her scarf around her neck.)
Dr. Quincey Cockburn: You asked me to be here, did you not?
(A puzzled expression crosses Dr. Blue’s face.)
Dr. Bethany Blue: No? I mean, don’t get me wrong, I am beyond thrilled right now. Your text message about landing in Canada literally made my whole day!
(As the two women walked into the warm arena, Dr. Cockburn’s brow furrowed.)
Dr. Quincey Cockburn: My assistant told me you that you needed me here tonight.
Dr. Bethany Blue: That’s strange because I have been working non-stop the past few days and have not reached out to anyone. This country is a cesspool of disease and honestly, Mother, I have been having a blast seeing patients all across the board. So the other night I went in an isolation room that was under neutropenic precautions, and you know how interested I am in those. Neutropenia is a condition I find highly fascinating because I could not imagine living my life under such strike guidelines. Mother, imagine not being able to have fresh flowers in you home due to fear of germs that live in the soil. BUT I have been working on this antibody that can help raise the neutrophil level in a patient’s blo-
Dr. Quincey Cockburn: Bethany, dear, I am not trying to cut you off, but are you sure you didn’t reach out to me or perhaps have Nurse Goldstein reach out to me?
(Dr. Blue shrugs.)
Dr. Bethany Blue: It is entirely possibly Nurse Goldstein reached out and asked if you could be at the arena tonight. Her eye is still bothering her, and I’m just at a loss as to what to do about it. Oh, but Mother, as soon as I got your text, I went and reserved a skybox for you so you wouldn’t have to stay backstage.
(Dr. Cockburn didn’t reply as she was still a little puzzled by the entire thing. Granted, it could have absolutely been Nurse Goldstein who had reached out and gotten Dr. Cockburn on the plane. Nurse Goldstein wanted nothing more than to see mother and daughter happy and at peace with one another in all aspects of both Dr. Blue’s chosen professions. The scene fades out as the conversations about the neutropenic patient picks back up.)
(Voltage returns to the ringside area and the camera cuts to Bella Braxton in the middle of the ring.)
Bella Braxton: Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for…

(“Bad Medicine” by Bon Jovi plays to a mixed reaction as Dr. Bethany Blue comes out to the stage. The lone spotlight shines on her as she raises the Interwire Championship high in the air. Despite all she’s been through she has a bright smile on her face before heading to the ring interacting with many of the fans at the front row.)
Bella Braxton: Introducing first, from Miami Florida, weighing in at 128 pounds… SHE IS, THE INTERWIRE CHAMPION!!! DR… BETHANY… BLUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Rich Russillo: A big fight feel tonight for Dr. Bethany Blue. We have to take notice of the fact that her mother, Dr. Quincey Cockburn is sitting up in the skybox tonight watching her daughter compete, so there surely is a lot of expectations put on her.
James Peters: That doesn’t mean she’ll come out there and put on a hell of a match for sure. Especially after what we saw last of her at Wicked Games. She’s coming off of a fresh match as champion and I’m sure the Doctor wants to keep going down the path of success heading to her match with Jesse Barlow at Road to Redemption!
(Dr. Bethany Blue goes onto the apron and looks out to the crowd before entering the ring. She turns to the ropes and steps-in-between the ropes raising the Interwire Championship high in the air before gesturing to “bring it.” She hops back off and goes to her corner leaning in it as “Bad Medicine” fades out. “Catch Hell” by Adam Calhoun ft. Katie Noel plays to monstrous boos as Zak Simmons comes out holding the Big Boogie Bhampionship over his shoulder which disgusts the crowd. He raises the Bhampionship up in the air before making his way to the ring.)
Bella Braxton: And her opponent, from Lexington Kentucky, weighing in at 245 pounds… HE IS, THE BIG BOOGIE BHAMPION!!! THE SOUTHERN ELITE, ZAK… SIMMONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(As soon as Zak gets inside the ring, he gets right up in Bella’s startled face.)
Zak Simmons (Off Mic): NO! SHUT UP! I’M NOT THE WOOGIEMAN! THIS TITLE DOESN’T DESERVE TO HAVE THE WOOGIEMAN’S NAME ANYWHERE NEAR IT! THIS IS THE BIG BAK BHAMPIONSHIP NOW, SAY IT AGAIN!
(Bella looks utterly disgusted but Zak threatens to hit her, which gets her to comply.)
Bella Braxton: And her opponent, from Lexington Kentucky, weighing in at 245 pounds… HE IS, THE BIG… BAK BHAMPION!!! THE SOUTHERN ELITE, ZAK… SIMMONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(Zak seems satisfied by that and Bella quickly gets out of the ring.)
Rich Russillo: Now that we have to put emphasis on the fact that Zak Simmons is now the Bhampion disgusts me to the bone. Look what he’s doing to tarnish the legacy that the Woogieman had on that Bhampionship.
James Peters: It must’ve been a fabled history for sure if it was the Woogieman. But now I’d consider this the true test now that it’s a Bhamp versus Champ match. This is to determine the legitimacy of his Bhampionship if you think about it. So this is a must win match and I’m sure Zak is going to do anything in his power to make sure he comes out on top tonight.
(The referee checks with both competitors and then calls for the bell.)
(DING! DING! DING!)
Rich Russillo: Here we go as this match is underway! Both of them begin to lock up- BUT ZAK QUICKLY SHOVES THE DOCTOR AWAY! Dr. Bethany Blue quickly gets up to her feet not taking time to acknowledge it. THEY LOCK UP- DR. BETHANY BLUE DUCKS UNDER ZAK’S ATTEMPT AND RUNS TO THE ROPES! KNEE RIGHT TO THE BACK FORCING ZAK TO A KNEE! Dr. Bethany Blue keeping the momentum as she runs to the ropes and back! CORKSCREW ELBOW TAKING ZAK DOWN!!!
James Peters: Dr. Bethany Blue coming into this match at full force! Zak gets to his feet as Dr. Bethany Blue runs to him! LARIAT- NO! THE DOCTOR DUCKS UNDER! BUT ZAK TURNS AND KNOCKS HER DOWN WITH A CLOTHESLINE! Zak lifts her up from behind! RELEASE GERMAN SUPLEX AS DR. BETHANY BLUE TUMBLES TO THE MIDDLE OF THE RING! Dr. Bethany Blue still quickly getting to her feet as Zak is running towards her! OH THE DOCTOR CATCHING HIM WITH A KNEE RIGHT TO THE GUT! She steps back as Zak is doubled over! RUNNING KNEE LIFT!!!
Rich Russillo: Zak falls flat to the ground as Dr. Bethany Blue pulls her up! Irish whip to the ropes! KNEE- NO! ZAK STOPS RIGHT IN HIS TRACKS AND PUSHES HER KNEE AWAY! Dr. Bethany Blue getting right back on track! BUT ZAK GRABS HER! SIDEWALK SLAM! Dr. Bethany Blue grabs her back in pain as Zak brings her right back up! PUMPHANDLE SLAM- NO! DR. James Peters: Zak hops around and quickly turns to Dr. Bethany Blue! DR. BETHANY BLUE! TJD- NO! ZAK MOVES OUT OF THE WAY OF THE SUPERKICK! He grabs Dr. Bethany Blue by the legs! HE LIFTS HER UP AND SLAMS HER TO THE GROUND! Dr. Bethany Blue in pain as she grabs a hold of the ropes managing to pull herself up! BUT ZAK RUNS! KNEE RIGHT TO THE GUT OF THE DOCTOR!!!
Rich Russillo: Zak pulling out all the stops to make sure he wins tonight! Zak throws Dr. Bethany Blue to the center of the ring as he goes to all fours! ZAK WITH A KICK- NO! DR. BETHANY BLUE ROLLS AWAY AND UP TO HER FEET! Dr. Bethany Blue quickly rolls out of the ring and hops onto the apron on the opposite side as Zak Simmons realizes! SLINGSHOT BULLDOG TAKES ZAK DOWN! DR. James Peters: IT’S NURSE GOLDSTEIN! NURSE GOLDSTEIN TRYING TO MAKE THE SAVE FOR DR. BETHANY BLUE ONCE MORE AS SHE’S ON THE APRON TRYING TO DISTRACT ZAK SIMMONS. Zak looks angry as he walks right up to Nurse Goldstein. Both of them having an exchange of words- ZAK! ZAK LIFTS NURSE GOLDSTEIN OVER THE ROPES AND THROWS HER INTO THE RING! ZAK LIFTING NURSE GOLDSTEIN UP! ELITE ENDING!!! ZAK HITS THE FIREMAN’S CARRY KNEE RIGHT ONTO NURSE GOLDSTEIN KNOCKING HER OUT!!!
Rich Russillo: DR. BETHANY BLUE HOPPING RIGHT INTO THIS MATCH ATTACKING ZAK SIMMONS! DR. BETHANY BLUE TAKING HIM RIGHT TO THE GROUND AND PUMMELING HIM DOWN! James Peters: Dr. Bethany Blue has had a burst of anger run through her after seeing Nurse Goldstein being taken out! Zak barely getting up as Dr. Bethany Blue runs at him! ZAK THROWS HER OUT OF THE RING! Zak falls to a knee trying to take a break but Dr. Bethany Blue not letting him get that as she quickly rolls into the ring! CLOTHESLINE SENDING HIM BACK! NOW DR. BETHANY BLUE JUST RAMMING INTO ZAK WITH A CLOTHESLINE FORCING HIM DOWN!!!
Rich Russillo: Zak forced to a knee now as Dr. Bethany Blue grabs both of the arms and begins to kick away at Zak! BUT ZAK WITH PERSISTENCE! ZAK GETS TO HIS FEET AND PUSHES DR. BETHANY BLUE AWAY! ZAK LANDING A FOREARM SHOT STUNNING HER! The Doctor falls right into Zak Simmons! BRAIN BUSTER! DR. BETHANY BLUE SENT DOWN AS ZAK GOES FOR THE PIN!!!

BUT ZAK ALREADY SLAMMING HER DOWN TO THE GROUND! Zak looking for another Elite Ending attempt as he lifts the Doctor up! THE DOCTOR REVERSES ONCE MORE! Dr. Bethany Blue landing a kick right to the leg forcing Zak to move back in pain but that’s left him open! TJD! THE SUPERKICK CONNECTS AS ZAK FALLS TO A KNEE! (“Bad Medicine” plays to loud cheers as Dr. Bethany Blue gets to her feet and the Ref raises her hand in victory as she has a smile on her face. She’s handed the Interwire Championship as she raises that in the air. But then out of nowhere suddenly the lights dim down and “Bad Medicine” fades out as the arena becomes pitch black. It’s dark as suddenly the video tron clicks on, then after a moment a spotlight shines down. It doesn’t shine down on the ring instead on a skybox, the exact skybox where Dr. Quincey Cockburn sits.)
Rich Russillo: What’s happening- OH MY! IT’S HANNAH MARIN! SHE SNUCK UP BEHIND DR. COCKBURN! SHE HAS HER LOCKED IN A CHOKEHOLD!
(Hannah chokes Dr. Quincey Cockburn out as she holds a syringe in one hand and a microphone in the other. She holds the microphone up and begins to speak as Dr. Bethany Blue looks in fear)
Hannah Marin: You really don’t think your mother came here without reason right!? No no, JESSE invited her to poor old Dr. Cockburn to Voltage tonight. You might be wondering why though? Bethany you made a mistake, you made a mistake when you got involved in the recruitment of Shawn Sturgis to join us, when you stabbed that syringe into my throat robbing me of my voice. Shawn deserves the opportunity to join the cause that Jesse has sought to do and he just wants to make the world better, simple. Whilst I would blame you, Bethany for taking my voice using that syringe with god knows what’s in it and being a faux doctor with a fake PhD. In the end, it’s Dr. Cockburn’s fault for bringing a sorry excuse for a human like you into this world…
(Dr. Bethany Blue has heard enough as she turns around and is about to leave. But she’s shocked to see that none other than Jesse Barlow is behind her. Jesse makes a “turn around” gesture as Dr. Bethany Blue turns around. Hannah puts the mic down and holds the syringe up and close to Dr. Cockburn)
James Peters: MY GOD! HANNAH MARIN JUST STABBED THAT SYRINGE RIGHT INTO DR. COCKBURN WITH GOD KNOWS WHAT IN IT! Dr. Bethany Blue is disgusted! BUT IT LOOKS LIKE THEY AREN’T DONE! NEVERMORE!!! JESSE HITS DR. BETHANY BLUE WITH THE BICYCLE KNEE!!!
(Jesse looks up to Hannah with a smirk as Dr. Cockburn screams very concerned about what has just been injected into her. Jesse leaves the ring as the camera fades to commercial.)

(Voltage returns and fades into an exclusive interview Sophia Clarke conducted earlier today with former Specialists Champion, Andrea Valentine. The two women are sitting in a skybox across from one another. Sophia smiles.)
Sophia Clarke: 190 days.
(Andrea lets out a slight laugh, shaking her head almost as if she doesn’t quite believe it herself.)
Sophia Clarke: What went through your head last Friday morning as you woke up knowing you had made history?
Andrea Valentine: It was really just this sense of feeling like I had reached a point where I accomplished something that helped to really show how I wasn’t going to give up. It’s well-known that previous seasons had been up and down for me with opportunities, and I’m sure for everyone else watching that for as tough as things seemed that I could’ve just stopped after my first two title reigns didn’t go how I or anyone else would’ve hoped. But that was something I couldn’t bring myself to do because that wouldn’t have changed anything, it wouldn’t have helped – I just stuck with it how I knew I’d have to and that took me to a Specialists Championship reign that I’ll never forget.
Sophia Clarke: How did it feel seeing Darcy May Morgan standing on the stage at the end of Dynasty last week holding up the championship you had poured so much of yourself into?
Andrea Valentine: It’s not exactly a secret that I don’t really care for Darcy, but like I told Charlie last week Sunday, shit happens. I lost, sure, and Darcy got to walk away with that championship belt, but what can’t be taken from me is that I made history and did it through what’s been a crazy season so far. I bled for that championship, got stabbed for it, went through a ladder for it, won War Games as the only reigning Specialists Champion to do so and got to do that alongside two other amazing women – that’s all something I can only be proud of because I stuck to what I said I’d do from the beginning of the season. I took on anyone who wanted their chance at me, I said I could get put through the wringer in plenty of situations and more often than not I was the one winning in the end, and I was doing that for 190 days but the work doesn’t stop there.
Sophia Clarke: Do you have any regrets about not being able to break the record, or does it mean more knowing that your name will forever be linked to Brody’s?
Andrea Valentine: I’m sure a lot of people would be frustrated or bitter, maybe even furious, that they didn’t end up breaking a championship’s record-setting reign after coming so close, but I can’t say I’m in that group. If anything, sharing that record with Brody means to me just as much as passing her record would’ve meant because, in my mind, we’ll always be linked together. Whether it’s with tied reigns or as best friends, I know she’d be really proud of what I was able to do after all this time. Me potentially becoming Specialists Champion somewhere down the line was something she and I had talked about when I came back two years ago, and to do it not once but twice – winning the first in the same match she did and then to go on in the second with the reign I had – I’m proud of what I accomplished in the end.
Sophia Clarke: You have a chance tonight to qualify for the Extreme Elimination Chamber coming up at Road to Redemption. You were extremely close last year to becoming the Unified Women’s World Champion.
(Andrea rolls her eyes and fixes Sophia with a smirk.)
Andrea Valentine: There are a lot of people, in fact, the vast majority of the EAW Universe that would tell you that in their eyes, I am the uncrowned women’s world champion. I think we can all agree that Bloodletter was a mess. Madison Kaline never deserved the championship in the first place. She was handed that belt and had two other women in place to defend it for her. It was a disgrace. Coming up short at Bloodletter last year, and some other events that took place last season really tested my resolve and taught me a lot about myself. I’m sure there are people who would expect me to be bitter, but I can’t be that person. My journey is my own, and it eventually led me to a record-tying championship reign. I’m proud of the person and competitor I am, and after I defeat Korey Gaines tonight, I’m going to get another crack at a world championship. I look forward to what’s next for me.
Sophia Clarke: The EAW World Championship, a belt currently held by Charlie Marr.
Andrea Valentine: Exactly. Everyone knows he shouldn’t have won at Bloodsport, he shouldn’t have escaped with that championship at Territorial Invasion either, and Charlie beating Camille at Wicked Games wasn’t something that anyone wanted to see. Charlie hasn’t reigned as the champion he thinks he is, all he’s done as champion is just barely manage to survive and all he’s done was always going to catch up to him eventually. With nowhere to hide and nowhere to run in that Extreme Elimination Chamber, it’s really starting to look like Road to Redemption could be that night for what we’ve all been wanting and that’s Charlie’s downfall.
Sophia Clarke: Let’s hypothesize that you defeat Korey tonight and you find yourself locked inside that chamber at Road to Redemption. Charlie Marr, Rex McAllister, and Terry Chambers are a lot different than Tyler Wolfe, Clara Lovelace, and Daisy Thrash. Do you think you can duplicate last year’s success and dethrone Charlie?
Andrea Valentine: Winning another chamber match for the second year straight would be amazing, but I know it wouldn’t come easy at all. It would definitely be different from last year, but that’s kinda been the point of this whole season with Empire not around – everything was going to change and that’s been obvious, and I’ve adapted to it all in the best ways that I can. And adapting to the situation is what that chamber match is all about. None of them would want to make this easy, everyone would know just how important this is, and I’m sure guys like Rex and Terry would definitely want to be as difficult as possible – even Charlie’s going to be desperate just to survive knowing everyone’s going to be right at his neck ready to take him out. But even with all of them in there as it is already, I’d like to believe that I could still see my way to getting that kind of win and ending Charlie’s reign once and for all.
Sophia Clarke: Other than chasing a world championship, what else do you want to accomplish here in EAW?
Andrea Valentine: There’s just so much that I know is left me to do and achieve that whenever there’ll be an opportunity for me to keep building on so much of what I’ve done already, I’ll be all for it! I know there’s still plenty of matches that I’m looking forward to having, other championships that I’d love to win, and I know that with the path I’ve been able to put myself on because of what I’ve proven over time, that there’s going to be so many more moments for me to have and get to share with everyone who’s supported me through everything these last two years.
Sophia Clarke: Have you ever thought of really going after the Unified Tag Team Championships? Extreme Valentine make quite the team and who knows how the match at Battle of Egypt would have turned out if Charlie and Veena had not gotten involved.
Andrea Valentine: I’m not sure that we were really thinking about taking a shot at those, at least not right then, but I wouldn’t be against it if a chance comes around for us to go after them. It’s another one of those things where an opportunity like that is something I wouldn’t pass up on because there’s always something to be achieved and accomplished. Doing that with Ms. Extreme would be amazing just because of what we’ve been through together and because of how close we’ve gotten. I didn’t expect it coming into this season but when we’re smacking Charlie around together and having to deal with whatever obstacles Veena had wanted to throw at us – whether that was matches that were for the benefit of Charlie, where we were pit against each other and Raven, or if it was something like War Games where we knew we’d have to rely on each other every step of the way – that friendship forming was almost inevitable.
Sophia Clarke: What did winning War Games mean to you? You made history that night by becoming the first woman to win that match.
Andrea Valentine: War Games was something that I had only ever thought of being a part of before, and at the time, I wasn’t sure if I’d even be a part of Voltage’s team for it but I wasn’t expecting to be put in there under the impression we would lose either. So, when it finally came down to it, winning that match against everyone that was there was probably the biggest moment of my career, and doing that with Raven and Ms. Extreme was amazing! I feel like even though the bond we ended up forming was a necessity almost, it was one of the best things that could’ve happened. To have faced what we had to week after week, having to fight back against Veena wanting it beaten into us that we weren’t good enough all because we came in as threats to her vision, and dealing with Veena on the level that we were, it was the perfect way to show her and everyone else who thought we couldn’t do it or wanted to see us lose that anything is possible for any of us and I truly believe that.
Sophia Clarke: Do you see yourself in the Hall of Fame one day? You’re certainly in the process of building one hell of a resume, and people are real quick to put your name in conversations with the all time greats.
Andrea Valentine: I know people talk about making their mark in history and leaving a lasting impact to be remembered for, and that’s what I feel like I’m doing right now; I haven’t really thought too far ahead other than that I know I want to have an incredible career. When and what else I’ll have all accomplished by the point where I’m being considered as a Hall of Fame inductee, I don’t know, but I’d like to think that it’ll be more than enough for where one day I’ll be right in there with so many people who’ve done their part and still have their influence in helping to shape EAW’s incredible history.
Sophia Clarke: Did you ever expect any of this when you returned to the company in 2017?
Andrea Valentine: In a way, yeah, because putting in the work to have come as far as I have was always going to be something I was going to do and I wasn’t going to have anyone or anything holding me back from something like this. How all that work was going to come together though, I had no idea but somehow, someway I was going to make sure it all paid off and the height it’s all happening at now just only continues to amaze me and makes me want to go after so much more. I already had an idea of what I was going to be getting into when I came back and what I’d have to do to apply early on what else I managed to learn, and what I wanted for myself I knew I was going to have to make it happen. I mean, it’s one thing to just want it, to envision it for myself, but it’s a whole different thing to really go out there and shape history week by week, moment by moment and I’m doing that knowing I came all the way from being gone from Empire after just a few short months to being one of the best around today.
Sophia Clarke: Sum up your journey so far in EAW.
Andrea Valentine: It’s been one that’s come with its struggles, some of them being real tests that challenged me where I really found out for myself what I’m made of and how much I was willing to go through to achieve any of the goals I’ve had. Those moments go almost hand in hand with the ones where I’ve been able to say that I got to take them as my own, where I was on a side of history that people are going to remember and look back on for years to come. All the setbacks, all the losses, right up to the monumental wins and championship victories that all mean something to me – it’s been a journey that I wouldn’t trade for anyone else’s, and for all I’ve done up to this point, it’s one that I know is far from being over.
(Sophia smiles at Andrea and stands up. Andrea stands up as well and the two women share a friendly embrace.)
Sophia Clarke: Andrea, it’s been a pleasure. Good luck tonight against Korey Gaines.
Andrea Valentine: Thank you. I appreciate it.

Bella Braxton: Making his way to the ring.. From Oklahoma City, Oklahoma… Weighing in at 170 pounds… KKOOOORRREEEYYY GGAAAIIINNEEESSS!!!
James Peters: Korey Gaines unfortunately lost at Wicked Games in his match against Consuela Rose Ava for the 24/7 contract, but tonight he has a chance to get an even greater opportunity, that being to get into Voltage’s Extreme Elimination Chamber at Road to Redemption. His opponent, Andrea Valentine.
Rich Russillo: This will be a tough match for both competitors, but if you ask me I think Gaines needs this win. He’s failed every time he’s had an opportunity. He can’t choke here tonight, or that’ll be another opportunity he’s failed to capitalize on.
James Peters: I can’t exactly deny that. Gaines always gives it his all, what he needs to do now is get the job done.
(‘Roll With Me’ by Charli XCX follows and the crowd grows even louder as Andrea Valentine makes her way out to the stage next. She has a smile on her face as usual as she observes the loud and excited fans in attendance, but as she makes her way closer to the ring you could tell she’s just as focused on the match as her opponent.)
Bella Braxton: And his opponent.. From Orlando, Florida… Weighing in at 110 pounds… AAAANNDDREEEAAAA VVAAAALLLEEENNTTTIIIINNEEE!!!!
James Peters: Korey Gaines is not the only one suffering from a big loss. Although it wasn’t at Wicked Games, Andrea Valentine lost her match against Darcy May Morgan, therefore losing her Specialists Championship shortly after the event. Tonight, if she can beat Korey Gaines, she’ll earn a shot at even bigger gold.
Rich Russillo: Korey Gaines is a tough competitor, but Andrea Valentine is the real deal. She is the only person to tie Brody Sparks’ Specialists Championship reign, and now that she lost the title she’s looking to see if she can add EAW Champion to her resume.
James Peters: I’m sure the fans are just as excited for this as we are, so let’s not waste any time and get started!
(Ding! Ding! Ding!)
James Peters: And now this match is underway, Andrea Valentine versus Korey Gaines! The two competitors are quick to lock up, and before long Korey is able to apply a headlock on the former Specialists Champion! Andrea is quick to push Gaines into the ropes though, causing him to release Andrea! Andrea now, with an arm drag! Andrea now applying a rear chinlock on Korey Gaines, and it looks like Valentine is in control of this match! That doesn’t seem to be lasting too long though, as Gaines is already making it back to his feet! Andrea transitioning into a normal headlock, but now Gaines lifts her up- JUST FOR ANDREA TO LAND ON HER FEET! James Peters: What a performance by these two competitors, and what a huge win for Andrea Valentine as she qualifies for the Extreme Elimination Chamber at Road to Redemption! You’ve got to feel for Gaines as that’s another big opportunity he’s unfortunately forced to miss out on, but his performance here was one you have to admire!
Rich Russillo: He performed well, he did, but in the end he still came up short. Korey Gaines is an impressive talent but as it stands he has nothing to show for it yet. Unfortunately this is yet another loss for him to have to recover from. Nonetheless, congratulations Andrea Valentine, what a match that was!
(‘Roll With Me’ hits as Andrea Valentine slowly gets up and has her hand raised by the referee. She begins to celebrate her victory as the crowd cheers for her, meanwhile Korey Gaines slams his fists onto the mat before rolling out of the ring, and storming out, clearly frustrated at losing that big time match.)

(Voltage fades back in from break and cuts to the backstage area. A slightly familiar face to Voltage, albeit one that hasn’t been seen in awhile, Jalyn Garcia, is shown. The audience inside the arena can be heard buzzing over this because with Jalyn comes a load of potential and a legacy to live up too. Across from Jalyn, off to the side, is EAW backstage interviewer Persephone Tsitsipas. Upon seeing Jalyn walk past her, the bitchy reporter has been stunned speechless. Her full lips have curled into a smirk and she falls into step beside him. Jalyn brushes his hair out of his face and gives Persephone a weary look, clearly not wanting to be bothered.)
Persephone Tsitsipas: Hey cutie.
(Jalyn lets out a rather exhausted sounding sigh and Persephone places her hand on his arm, stopping them both. Jalyn looks down at her hand, but Persephone has no shame. She lets out a flirtatious laugh and looks into Jalyn’s eyes.)
Persephone Tsitsipas: I haven’t seen you around here. I’m Persephone.
Jalyn Garcia: I’m late. Excuse me.
(Jalyn goes to brush past Persephone, but she’s not about to let him out of her sight. Jalyn looks slightly disturbed she is stopping him, because he’s only shown up to Voltage because Captain Charisma has requested his presence. Despite not being booked, Jalyn is still a member of the Voltage roster and contractually bound to show up each Sunday. He’s clearly been in breach of that for awhile.)
Persephone Tsitsipas: Late? What are you late for?
(Jalyn doesn’t feel like giving her an answer, but he realizes he probably doesn’t have a choice.)
Jalyn Garcia: I have a meeting with Captain Charisma.
(That certainly piques Persephone’s interest.)
Persephone Tsitsipas: A meeting with the commissioner? You’re not a wrestler, are you? You’re really small, not that there’s anything wrong with that…
(Jalyn couldn’t be arsed to be insulted. He simply shrugged her off and continued walking down the hallway. Persephone debated on following him until Molly Waters stepped directly into Jalyn’s path. This elicited another sigh from The Wildheart. Molly shot a smug look over her shoulder at Persephone, and Persephone replied by rolling her eyes. She headed off, which left Jalyn with Molly. Molly, as always, was in reporter mode and looking for a story.)
Molly Waters: Jalyn! It’s been awhile since the EAW Universe has seen you.
(She is stating the obvious but when she forces the microphone in Jalyn’s face, he feels obligated to muster up some type of reply.)
Jalyn Garcia: Yeah. I guess you want to know why.
(Jalyn is also stating the obvious and Molly grins at him.)
Molly Waters: I think the entire EAW Universe would like to know what you’ve been up too.
Jalyn Garcia: Well, I needed to step back and reevaluate what I was really doing here. Maybe I wasn’t ready. Maybe I’m still not. I have a lot of expectations to live up too, and things weren’t really going my way. It became redundant, and I found myself searching for answers that weren’t there. I still have plenty of questions, including the biggest one that constantly plagues my mind, but maybe they’ll get answered in due time. I can’t really spend the energy searching anymore. But I got a call last Sunday night telling me that I had to be here, so here I am.
Molly Waters: Are we going to be seeing you in the ring soon?
Jalyn Garcia: I don’t know. Captain Charisma is the one who told me to come to Voltage, so I showed up. He scheduled a meeting for the two of us, which I’m actually late for. So if you’ll excuse me…
(Molly is reluctant to let Jalyn go, but she finally steps to the side. Jalyn continues down the hallway and disappears around the corner.)
(Voltage fades and reopens inside the office of Captain Charisma. CC is leaning back against his desk while one of EAW’s newest signees and a familiar face to the Dynasty/Showdown diehards, Sierra Bradford, sits in a chair across from him. Sierra is talking.)
Sierra Bradford: I’m honestly grateful for this opportunity, and I’m well aware that I have my work cut out for me. I don’t have any experience when it comes to wrestling, but I am well trained. I wouldn’t be the first person to come into EAW with no actual match experience, and I won’t be the last. But I promise you, sir, I’m going to be the best. I know everyone says that, but I’ll be the one to prove it.
(A sweet type of confidence oozes from Sierra and she gives the Hall of Famer a big smile.)
Sierra Bradford: I’m stoked you decided to take a chance on me.
Captain Charisma: As long as you work hard and trust the process, there’s no doubt in my mind that you won’t become a star here. Your tryout match against Harper Lee was an impressive bout to say the least, especially when you factor in that both of you are new to this. I know Showdown is pleased to have signed Harper, and I’m very glad we were able to get you on Voltage.
(Sierra certainly wouldn’t have minded going to Dynasty, but that was none of CC’s business :mjlit:. But her smile remained intact, because she knew Voltage would be a great fit for her. Women were at the forefront of every major thing that happened on Voltage, and the possibilities for Sierra seemed endless. She couldn’t wait to test herself against the likes of Raven Roberts, Ms. Extreme, Andrea Valentine, Dr. Bethany Blue, ect ect. She nervously tapped her Converse clad feet on the ground and looked up at CC.)
Sierra Bradford: When is my first match? I’m anxious to get going.
Captain Charisma: Next week.
Sierra Bradford: :oh:! Who’s my opponent?
(Captain Charisma opens his mouth to reply, but he’s cut off by his door opening. A sheepish looking Jalyn walks in. He takes a look at Sierra.)
Jalyn Garcia: Is this a bad time?
Captain Charisma: Considering you’re about twenty minutes late, yes. This is a bad time.
(A sigh escapes from Jalyn’s lips and he turns to see himself out.)
Captain Charisma: You might as well stay. Sierra and I were just finishing up.
(Captain Charisma gets back to his feet and Sierra rises to hers.)
Captain Charisma: You asked me about your opponent for next week. Well, you’re looking at him.
(Captain Charisma gestured towards Jalyn, and both Elitists look equally surprised.)
Sierra Bradford: O.
Jalyn Garcia: So is that why you told me to come to Voltage? Just so you could put me in a match next week?
Captain Charisma: I told you to come to Voltage so you’d no longer be in breach of your contract. You are signed to this brand, which means you HAVE to be here every week, without fail, unless you’re not medically cleared or have asked for and have been granted time off. You just decided not to show up. You have a lot of potential, Jalyn, and a lot of people invested in you. I’ll be damned if you squander it.
(The tension in the room between Captain Charisma and Jalyn makes Sierra feel a little awkward.)
Sierra Bradford: So yeah. Good talk. Thank you so much Captain Charisma. I promise I won’t let you down.
(Sierra and Captain Charisma shake hands as she heads for the door. Sierra stops beside Jalyn and looks up at him. She gives him her friendliest smile and extends her hand.)
Sierra Bradford: Good luck next week. I can’t wait to face you!
(Jalyn looks down at Sierra’s hand and doesn’t shake it.)
Sierra Bradford: Alright. Have a great night!
(She takes her leave, and the camera cuts back to Captain Charisma. He points at the chair Sierra had just been sitting in.)
Captain Charisma: Sit down, Jalyn.
(Jalyn shuffles his feet towards the chair and takes a seat. Silence fills the room until Captain Charisma decides to break it.)
Captain Charisma: So I spoke to Jamie…
(Jalyn’s shoulders sag ever so slightly, which sent the scene inside the office fading to black.)
(Voltage reopens back at ringside.)

James Peters: Shawn Sturgis is one of the most athletic and driven elitists on the Voltage brand! He combines Japanese Strong Style with an electric, energetic, and exciting high flying style. However, Shawn Sturgis is no stranger to bending the rules when he deems it necessary. He’s tired of feeling like an underdog, he’s here to fight!
Rich Russillo: This kid is filled to the brim with talent, he’s got all the tools necessary to being a top guy here on Voltage! Tonight, he’ll be pushed to his limits, he’ll be put to the true test of perseverance. But, a big win tonight could be just what he needs to elevate himself into the main event scene!

Rich Russillo: KOMATSU IS PISSED, HE ISN’T GOING TO LET THAT FLY….KOMATSU BEATING THE ABSOLUTE LIFE OUT OF A BATTERED EZIO DELUCA AND MATTHEW KING!!! THIS IS DISGUSTING…NOW STOMPING ON THE ARM OF EZIO, THAT COULD TAKE HIM OUT OF COMMISSION FOR WEEKS, WHAT AN ABSOLUTE PIECE OF FILTH.
(Security comes running down the ring and has to drag Komatsu out of the ring. Voltage quickly fades to the backstage area.)
(Voltage reopens backstage. One of the competitors for the Specialists Chamber Preview match, Serena Riot, is seen sitting on top of an empty equipment box. Beside her is her trusty barbed wire wrapped baseball bat ‘Revenge.’ Pacing a bit in front of Serena is Veena Adams. Veena is rubbing her hands together and finally she comes to a stop, turning to face Serena.)
Veena Adams: So, are you excited about Road to Redemption?
(Serena looks Veena in the eyes and finally nods her head.)
Serena Riot: I am. Don’t get me wrong. What went down last week with Terry left a bitter taste in my mouth. I still get pissed whenever I let myself think about how incompetent the official was last week. At least the Specialists Chamber worked out for us.
Veena Adams: I’ll give Matty credit. He admitted that what happened to you in that match was a missed call by the official and that the match should have been restarted. He agreed it was a no brainer to put you in the Specialists Chamber. Now you’ll have the opportunity to win the championship you should have taken from Blandrea a few weeks ago.
Serena Riot: You’re right. The title of the show is pretty appropriate. Road to Redemption is a fitting moniker considering that once I win the Specialists Championship, I will have gotten redemption from what happened in my previous title match.
Veena Adams: You’ve got this. Like honestly, when I look at the competition in the chamber like I don’t see how you could possibly fail. Darcy May Morgan has one of the most dismal records in this company. She’s definitely a flash in the pan and once you take that belt from her, we’re never gunna see that bitch again. She’s just another Tyler Wolfe; someone hyped up because she has SOME talent, but bitter and angry, and hateful at the very root of her core. It’s scary how similar their paths have been so far :lupe:. Her mental breakdown after losing her title so soon after winning it should be fun. Kensingten Calhoun-Astor is a glorified jobber and a gimmick. There is nothing there that you even remotely need to be concerned with, and if she’s not the first person eliminated from the chamber then I would be completely shocked. Cumdumpster Blairhead is nothing more than the forgotten Ava, and not even worth your time. She’s fucking pathetic just like the rest of her God forsaken family. She was HANDED a spot in the match for nothing other than her last name. It’s honestly sad, but at least that’s one less person to worry. She won’t be a threat at all. As far as Joy and Sarah go, well tonight you are going to show them why you are the superior female here on Sunday Night Voltage. Those two cunts don’t deserve to share the ring with you tonight, and they damn sure don’t deserve to share a chamber with you. Road to Redemption is going to be your time to shine, and it’s your moment to take. You’ve waited for this and you have worked towards this, and I know you’re going into that match ready, willing, and able to seize the moment and capture that championship.
(Serena’s face twists into a grin.)
Serena Riot: I’m ready for that moment, and when the referee slips that Specialists Championship into my bloodstained hands, it’s going to be more satisfying than I can probably imagine. People are quick to criticize me and tell me I haven’t been here long enough to feel entitled, but I find completely disagree. I do my homework and I know that certain people get fast-tracked to the top all the time. Whether it’s their looks or whatever, there is favoritism. Look no further than Aniyah Mitchell. She had the world thrown at her feet. She was even traded to another brand because they wanted her so bad. She fit whatever bullshit mold this place has, and she got gifted an undeserved shot at the New Breed Championship at House of Glass. But where is she now? That bitch couldn’t bother to show up, and it really burns me up to when I think back and realize that I allowed her to get the better of me in a match.
(Serena’s hand wraps around the barrel of ‘Revenge’ and she closes her eyes as the barbs pierce her palms.)
Veena Adams: But that’s par for the course around here, Serena. This place has always played favorites which is why so many ungrateful whores have been allowed to run rampant around here and have their egos inflated. Most of them don’t last more than six months, if that, and no one is shocked when they call it a day. You just have to ignore that bullshit and recognize that you are worth more than all those cunts combined. Believe me, you’re worth far more than Joy Cassidy and Sarah Price, and that goes without saying when it comes to the other three slores.
Serena Riot: Trust me, I plan to channel all my frustration and all my feelings and unleash it all inside the chamber. I’m not playing around and after I beat Joy and Sarah in front of Darcy, I’m going to send the champion a little message. I’m going to wrap ‘Revenge’ right upside her pretty little head and I’m going to take a lot of pleasure watching the blood drop down Darcy May Morgan’s face.
Veena Adams: :wow: I would be lying if I didn’t admit I’m a little jealous of the fact you’re competing in a chamber. Road to Redemption is the second biggest show we put on, and since Matty has informed me that my only future on Voltage is that of a manager and competitor, I low key wish I was competing.
(Serena raised an eyebrow at Veena’s uncharacteristic admission.)
Serena Riot: Why can’t you?
(Veena shrugs, having never really given it much thought. She had been left in a foul mood after Wicked Games thanks to coming up short against Andrea, but after that had subsided, Veena had watched the match back and saw some great things in her performance.)
Veena Adams: I really don’t know. I’ve been so wrapped up in everything else that’s been going on that I haven’t stopped to look around for my own opportunities. I suppose I could compete at Road to Redemption…
Serena Riot: If there’s anyone who can make something out of nothing, it’s you. You should keep your eyes and ears open, Veena. Something’s going to pop up.
(Veena thought about that for a moment, and shot Serena thoughtful look. Silence settled over the two women, and was only broken when a stagehand walked up to them.)
Stagehand: You’re up, Miss Riot.
(Serena’s face lit up and she grabbed ‘Revenge’, jumping down to her feet.)
Serena Riot: Showtime!
(Serena headed off in the direction of the guerilla curtains, and after a moment, Veena followed suit. No doubt the spoiled niece of the chairman was thinking of ways to get herself on the Road to Redemption card.)
(Voltage faded to a commercial break.)

(Voltage returns from break and fades backstage. Consuela Rose Ava and Ms. Extreme are seen standing outside of their lockerroom. Ms. Extreme looks even better this week, with the majority of her Barbed Wire Massacre wounds having faded into scars or gone away for the completely. She’s already dressed to compete because her Extreme Elimination Chamber qualifying match is happening a little later. Consuela is in street clothes, but it’s the look of concern that The Perfectionist has on her face that gets the attention of everyone watching. She gives Ms. Extreme a look – the type of look that could only come from an older sister who doesn’t approve of something.)
Ms. Extreme: :mjgrin:
Consuela Rose Ava: Are you sure they cleared you to compete? You didn’t bully them or forge a signature or whatever just because you want another chance to end Charlie’s life inside of a torture chamber?
(Ms. Extreme rolls her eyes to the back of her head.)
Ms. Extreme: Forge a medical clearance?? Come on, Consuela. You know damn well it’s been an uphill struggle for me since signing with EAW when it comes to the doctors around… the REAL doctors. They check me for everything, every single time, and after every single match it seems. You know that if I wasn’t ready to compete they would not allow me inside that ring. It wouldn’t matter how much I begged or ‘bullied’ them, and I definitely wouldn’t forge a document.
(Consuela sighs because she knows all of this is right. However, she can’t help but feel concerned over her younger sister’s wellbeing. Ms. Extreme finally sighs.)
Ms. Extreme: I know you’re just worried about me and I appreciate that, but I’m definitely ready to go tonight. Whatever lingering pain I have or whatever doesn’t matter because when the bell rings, I’m in my zone. All that ceases to exist and defeating Shortfuse PAKA is the only thing that really matters to me. I want to be inside that chamber and I want dethrone Charlie or take his head, whichever happens to come first. He deserves to suffer and to have me unleash every bit of Hell that I can give him. Charlie Marr needs to die, Consuela, and I want his blood on my hands.
Consuela Rose Ava: I understand that, and I’m all for that, but what matters more to me is your bigger picture. You will have more opportunities to become a world champion because you’re a bonafide star, Camille. At Wicked Games, even in defeat, no one could stop talking about your heart and your grit, and the hell you were willing to put yourself through in order to take that man down.
Ms. Extreme: Exactly and imagine what I’m going to do inside a chamber?
(Ms. Extreme’s eyes were practically dancing as she pictured all the ways she could torture Charlie Marr inside the chamber. Consuela responded with a shudder.)
Consuela Rose Ava: Knowing what you’re capable of, but also being fully aware of what everyone else inside that chamber is capable of is exactly why I’m concerned, but I guess this is one battle I’m not going to win. You have your heart set on being inside that thing, don’t you?
Ms. Extreme: One million percent.
???: Imagine how great Christmas is going to be this year when three of us have chamber wins, championship gold, and ‘Suela has her contract??
(The youngest Ava and Specialists Chamber competitor, Candice Blair, steps into the scene. Consuela and Ms. Extreme look a little surprised to see her backstage at Voltage. Candice wears kinetic tape on her shoulder; the same shoulder injured last night at Kensingten Calhoun-Astor’s hands. However, Candice is all smiles.)
Consuela Rose Ava: Hey! We didn’t know you were coming tonight.
Ms. Extreme: How’s the shoulder?
(Candice grins.)
Candice Blair: It’ll be healed by the time Road to Redemption rolls around and that’s all that really matters.
Ms. Extreme: :mjgrin: Did you come here to pick a fight with Darcy May Morgan?
(Candice feigns innocence.)
Candice Blair: Camille, please. I would NEVER!
(Ms. Extreme and Consuela both roll their eyes this time.)
Consuela Rose Ava: Uh-huh.
Candice Blair: Look, I’m not about to pass up an opportunity to be under the same roof as the Specialists Champion, not to mention three more opponents of mine will be in action tonight. I know what biscuit butt can do now, so I may as well see what everyone else brings to the table. Seems like a pretty smart strategy to me.
(It was hard for Consuela and Ms. Extreme to argue with that logic, and Candice’s grin turned into a smug smile knowing that neither of them could argue with her.)
???: How about I let you just come face to face with the Specialists Champion?
(Everyone’s heads turned in the direction of the British-accented voice that belonged to that of Darcy May Morgan. The champion steps into the scene and looks directly at Candice.)
Darcy May Morgan: I’m right here, Candice. All those lovely things you said about me last week on Showdown can now be told right to my face.
Candice Blair: Which particular thing? That thing I said about no one giving a shit about the Specialists Chamber since Andrea is no longer the champion until I showed up? Or do you just want to fast forward to the part where I spoke about beating you and all the other women inside the chamber come Road to Redemption and taking the title for myself? Because I’m totally up for either conversation.
Darcy May Morgan: You might say that people don’t care about the chamber because Andrea is no longer the champion, but we all know that all eyes are on me right now. I kept Andrea from breaking Brody’s record and now everyone is waiting to see what I can do with this title. I could have gone for any championship, but I picked the Specialists Championship because I knew it was my chance to show the EAW Universe that I belong with the upper echelon. I have always known who I am as a competitor and that’s as The Leading Lady, one of the premiere main eventers in EAW. I have been a staple of Dynasty since the season opened, and I’m not stopping now. I will blow through all of you inside that chamber.
Candice Blair: You really have no other choice because if you fail to deliver on everything you have said at Road to Redemption, then your victory over Andrea is going to look like nothing more than a fluke, and considering you had to use a trick in order to even try and get her into a position where you could capitalize just goes to show me that you weren’t really the better woman.
(Darcy looks at the Specialists Championship that rests on her shoulder.)
Darcy May Morgan: The title on my shoulder would beg to differ.
(She removes the belt and holds it up, letting it dangle right in Candice’s face.)
Darcy May Morgan: So take a good look at it, Candice, and realize that this will be the closest you ever get to it.
(Darcy smirks and replaces the title back over her shoulder. She turns and heads off, leaving Candice and her sisters standing there. The camera focuses in on the youngest Ava though. Candice’s eyes have narrowed and she is staring after the retreating Darcy.)
Candice Blair (under her breath): That’s what you think, ‘Leading Lady.’
(On that note, Voltage fades to ringside.)
(‘Spotlight Savior’ by Iggy Azalea hits to a crowd full of boos as Darcy May Morgan walks out to the stage. She doesn’t walk into the ring, and instead walks towards the commentary table.)
Bella Braxton: Please welcome the EAW Specialists Champion, DAAAARRCCYYY MAAYYY MOOOOORRGAANNN!!!
James Peters: Of course Darcy May Morgan will be joining us today on commentary, and Darcy, how do you feel about this match coming up?
Darcy May Morgan: Well I’m confident about my chances in the chamber, but we might as well see what these three can do. Maybe it’ll help me know what I’m getting myself into.
Rich Russillo: That’s a smart idea if you ask me, and speaking of this match here comes the first competitor!
(‘Desire’ by Meg Myers hits and the crowd begins cheering heavily, with a few people causing a slight mixed reaction, as Joy Cassidy walks out onto the stage. She has a confident look on her face as she begins walking down to the ring, while Bella Braxton begins to speak.)
Bella Braxton: Making her way to the ring… From London, England… Weighing in at 130 pounds… JJOOOYYYY CCAAAASSSIIDDDYYY!!!!
James Peters: Joy Cassidy is the newest competitor in this match but she already has a huge opportunity ahead of her as she’s in the Specialists Chamber at Road to Redemption.
Rich Russillo: A win here would be huge in gaining momentum leading up to then, as well as solidifying her place here on Voltage, and to be honest I’d say she has a very good chance of winning here tonight. Road to Redemption, that may be a different story.
Darcy May Morgan: Different meaning she’s not winning. Where’s the next competitor?
(‘We Own the Night’ by Hollywood Undead follows, and the crowd completely shifts to boos as Serena Riot walks out, with Veena Adams with her. The two waste no time in walking down to the ring, as Veena has a grin on her face, but Serena looks focused.)
Bella Braxton: And her opponent… Accompanied by Veena Adams… From Cleveland, Ohio… Weighing in at 150 pounds… SSSEEERRREEENNNAAA RRRIIIOOOTT!!!!!
James Peters: Serena Riot is here but she’s not alone. Of course, that’s Veena Adams alongside her, and you’d have to be a fool to think she won’t get involved.
Darcy May Morgan: Too bad she can’t just be Serena’s chamber weapon.

James Peters: Because Veena’s a human being maybe? Anyways, Serena came up short in her last Specialists Championship match against Andrea Valentine, but as we head closer to Road to Redemption, you’ve got to wonder if she can get actually the title this time.
Darcy May Morgan: She can’t.
(‘Land of the Innocent’ by Feathers then plays, and the crowd explodes. The crowd is completely positive and they cheer heavily as Sarah Price comes out to the stage. She looks at all the fans cheering before diverting her attention to her opponents and making her way down to the ring.)
Bella Braxton: And their opponents… From London, England… Weighing in at 110 pounds… SSSAAARRAAAHHH PPRRIIICCEE!!!!
James Peters: Sarah Price is a competitor that in my eyes, is just as good as the other two. Unlike the other two she has incredibly high morals though, and if I had to guess, she probably won’t take advantage of the lack of disqualifications.
Rich Russillo: Yeah, and you’ve got to wonder if that’ll help her show her skills without weapons, or if it’ll just hurt her. I guess that’s what we’re gonna have to find out tonight. What do you think Darcy?

Right off the bat it looks like Serena Riot is exiting the ring, and looking under the ring for something, but I’m not sure what. The other two competitors not wasting any time though, as they begin to lock up! Joy looks like she was attempting a hammerlock, but Sarah managed to turn it around and hit an arm drag! Joy quickly manages to get to her feet, but there’s an irish whip by Sarah! Sarah ducking a clothesline from Joy, and there- WOAH! JUST AS IT LOOKED LIKE SARAH WAS GOING FOR A DROPKICK JOY JUST KICKED HER RIGHT OUT OF THE AIR! SARAH HOLDING HER STOMACH AFTER THAT KICK, AND THERE’S A COVER!

Serena re-entering the ring, AND SHE SLAMS THE CHAIR ONTO JOY! SERENA REPEATEDLY HITTING JOY WITH THAT CHAIR, AND NOW SHE DOES THE SAME TO SARAH, CAUSING HER TO ROLL OUT OF THE RING! Darcy May Morgan: How could they forget there’s a third competitor in the match? Surely they can’t be that dumb.
James Peters: I don’t know if it was that they forgot about her, or that they just didn’t expect her to introduce a steel chair so early. Nonetheless, Joy now is on the apron and Serena looks like she aims to continue her assault as she attempts to pick Joy up, but Joy connects with a forearm! Serena attempts to hit Joy with one of her own, but Joy blocks it before hitting a second one, dropping Serena to a knee! Joy re-entering the ring- AND SERENA TRIED TO HIT JOY WITH THE CHAIR, BUT JOY MANAGED TO CATCH IT, AND THERE’S A KICK TO SERENA’S MIDSECTION! NOW IT’S JOY WITH THE CHAIR IN HER HANDS, AND SHE SLAMS IT ACROSS SERENA’S BACK! VEENA DOESN’T LOOK HAPPY WITH WHAT SHE’S SEEING RIGHT NOW, AS JOY CASSIDY SEEMS TO BE IN CONTROL OF THIS TRIPLE THREAT!

Rich Russillo: Yep, you’re completely right. Sarah looks like she’s made her way back into this match, but for some reason she chose not to grab a weapon. We know she has strong morals but for her to not have at least grabbed something from that pile Serena left, very questionable decision if you ask me. Sarah and Joy now looking face to face, AND JOY ATTEMPTS TO SWING THE CHAIR INTO SARAH’S FACE, BUT SARAH DUCKS IT! SARAH WITH A DROPKICK, SENDING THE CHAIR RIGHT INTO JOY’S FACE! That dropkick caused Joy to drop the chair, and she looks dazed as Sarah goes for the cover!

Darcy May Morgan: They both had a steel chair in their possession and struggled against one person? This is my competition at Road to Redemption?
Rich Russillo: Well, you could take it as you may, but I think Sarah right now is just showing exactly what she’s capable of without the use of weapons.
Darcy May Morgan: Yeah? Well, whatever she thinks she’s doing right now, it won’t be enough to take this Championship from me.
Rich Russillo: Maybe so. It’s undeniable what you’ve done to become Champion, and Serena Riot herself faced Andrea for that Specialists Championship and came up short, whereas you succeeded. Anyways, back to the match, it’s just Sarah and Serena now as Joy has rolled out of the ring, and Sarah is the one in control! Sarah has Serena in a rear chinlock, and trying to wear down one of the competitors now would definitely make the match a bit easier for her!
James Peters: Joy now grabbing both another chair, and a kendo stick before sliding into the ring. Meanwhile Serena has managed to get back to her feet but Sarah has her in a headlock! Joy drops the kendo stick before swinging the chair towards Sarah- BUT SARAH MANAGES TO THROW SERENA IN THE WAY! JOY JUST HIT SERENA RIOT IN THE FACE WITH THE STEEL CHAIR, AND NOW THERE’S A KICK TO JOY’S MIDSECTION! SARAH NOW RUNNING THE ROPES- BUT JOY PICKS THAT KENDO STICK UP AND HITS SARAH WITH IT! AND ANOTHER ONE!! The kendo stick is always the gamechanger in this match, but I’m afraid that these kendo sticks to the body is only just building Chambers up!
Rich Russillo: Rex places the kendo stick in front of the neck as he chokes Chambers! However, Rex is clueless on the angered look on Chambers face as TERRY GRABS THE KENDO STICK AND USES IT TO FLIP REX OVER ONTO HIS BACK!! Rex is shocked as he gets back up to his feet and goes for another shot to the chest! BUT CHAMBERS ABSORBS IT!

James Peters: Both men in a precarious position as McAllister wraps his arms around Chambers’ waist. HE PICKS HIM UP!! NO!!! Chambers with elbow strikes right to the face, avoiding what would’ve been carnage as he blasts him with a knee to the chest to break the grip. McAllister fires back with a devastating forearm! James Peters: What. A. Match! At the beginning, we predicted that these two were going to show us an all-out war and we got that here tonight. Rex McAllister put Terry Chambers to the absolute highest inside and outside that ring and with that, he is victorious. McAllister gaines significant momentum before Road To Redemption, but this match is definitely going to be detrimental to how he performs inside that chamber.
Rich Russillo: What an amazing treat that was and you’re right. These two put everything on the line just for the opportunity to hold momentum before the chamber match, but these two also gained something else and it wasn’t a mental advantage, it was a physical disadvantage. We have no idea of the mental or physical state of these two, especially after the war they just went through. But what is undisputed and certain is that Rex McAllister is your winner.

James Peters: It was just two weeks ago that Consuela showed up and showed out at Wicked Games. Korey Gaines proved to be a hell of a challenger, but Consuela went to war in order to defend her contract and retain it.
Rich Russillo: Consuela seems determined to keep mum about when and where she’s going to cash in her contract, and we don’t know what title it’s going to be for. The only hint she’s given us is that it won’t be for the Specialists Championship, which basically makes everything else fair game!
James Peters: I can’t wait to see why Consuela’s out here tonight. I wonder if she’s going to give us another hint about the contract?
(Consuela slides into the ring and takes the microphone from Bella. The fans continue to cheer for the popular Elitist, and Consuela is thankful for them. Consuela Rose Ava: Words can not express how much I appreciate your love and support. As Road to Redemption gets closer, I can’t help but think back to where I was last year around this time. I’m not going to sugarcoat it. I was dying over on Empire. The losses kept racking up, and some of them were through no fault of my own. Morale was low. The lockerroom atmosphere was toxic. People were struggling to find themselves and their own sense of purpose. We had an undeserving woman as our champion. The same handful of women continued getting pushed. For me, it was a living nightmare. I tried my best to make the most of the situation. I know I’m not the first person to ever have a losing streak, or run of bad luck. I tried to find a glimmer of hope. I tried to find something to cling too. When Road to Redemption rolled around last year, I thought if I could capture the Openweight Championship (RIP), I could perhaps turn my luck around.
Consuela Rose Ava: TLA was the better person that night, but that loss was my wake up call. I knew I needed a break, and that for once in my life, I needed to do what was best for me. To be fair, I still tried. I took on a match or two after Road to Redemption, but it just all got to be too much. I know it pissed a lot of people off that I stepped back so I could get my head together, but quite frankly, that’s not my problem. Every copes with adversity differently, and for me to reignite my passion for professional wrestling, I needed to get away from it. While I sat home and recharged my batteries, I kept my eyes on everything that was going on around here. I was never really that far removed from EAW, and it became quite clear that this sport and this company is where I want to be. I love wrestling, and I love competing, and every single time that bell rings and I find myself up against another person, I truly feel alive. I could not be more grateful that my family and my true fans stuck by me, and never gave up hope that I would return.

Consuela Rose Ava: Matches like the one I had at Wicked Games against Gaines are why I love this sport. He did give me a fight, and he did push me more than I thought he would. For all the weirdness and past transgressions, Gaines is a fighter and a good competitor. It was the perfect win for me. What the rest of the lockerroom needs to take away from my performance against Gaines is that I am willing to step out of my comfort zone and do whatever it takes to defend this 24/7 contract. I did the work at Pain for Pride that was needed in order for me to earn the right to compete for whatever championship I want here in EAW. No one, and I mean absolutely no one, gets to tell me when and how I should cash in. Gaines tried to question me and my fire, and whether or not I even wanted to be a champion, and he found out real quick just how passionate and determined Consuela Rose Ava is. I know what I’m going to do with this contract, and I know which title it’s going to be for, and when the moment is right, I’ll let the world in on that little secret. It could happen tonight, or it could happen at Pain for Pride. This thing doesn’t expire until the next 24/7 Battle Royal takes place. But mark my words, I will be a champion this season.

As of right now, I’m not on the card and I’m not about to spend another big free-per-view in catering. I did my job as big sister and cheerleader at Territorial Invasion, but this time I want in on the action. I want a match at Road to Redemption, and I’m more than open to facing anybody. It doesn’t matter what brand, or whatever. Let’s do the damn thing and steal the show.
(Consuela lowers the microphone and looks into the camera. She motions for anyone to come forward and it doesn’t take long for someone to step up to the plate. The second “ME” by Taylor Swift begins to play, the audience erupts in a barrage of jeers. The camera catches a glimpse of Consuela’s face and a look of amusement has crossed it.)

James Peters: Earlier tonight, Veena was telling Serena how she ‘low key’ wanted a chance to compete at Road to Redemption…
Rich Russillo: But hasn’t she learned her lesson by now? Why is she still trying to pick a fight with one of the Beating Hearts?
(When Veena emerges from the back, the negative reaction for her gets even louder. The blonde flips the crowd off and begins to make her way down to the ring.)
James Peters: She is the epitome of class, let me tell ya.
Rich Russillo: And for whatever reason, she sure looks confident.
(Veena does indeed look confident as she gets into the ring and asks for a microphone. After she’s given one, she steps right up to Consuela and the two women lock eyes. There’s no respect, no nothing but pure hate, and that’s just how the story goes when an Ava is inside the ring with an Adams. Veena’s music dies down and she starts speaking.)
Veena Adams: Did I hear someone in this ring basically issue an open challenge?

Rich Russillo: I won’t even front. I woke up this morning just knowing it was going to be a huge night for Woogie. I really believe he is going to get this win tonight and really can’t wait for 2020 to become the year of The Woogieman!

Rich Russillo: Well if Raven was looking to send a message to Jenny Cien, she did just that when she showed up to Friday Night Dynasty. Raven interrupted an amazing match between Jenny and the Specialists Champion, Darcy May Morgan.
James Peters: Raven destroyed Jenny with not one, but two Talon kicks that took the New Breed Champion down and out of the match.
Rich Russillo: Raven’s revenge, and what a sweet revenge it was. I’m looking forward to seeing Raven and Jenny do battle at Road to Redemption!
(Raven climbs into the ring and gets set for the match. After a moment, the referee calls for the bell.

James Peters: And we are off! The Universal Women’s Champion versus The Living Legend! A STRONG STYLE MATCH!
Rich Russillo: Raven and Woogie lock up and they jostle back and forth for positioning! It’s Woogie who grabs Raven in a side headlock and forces her back against the ropes. Raven catches Woogie in the face with a palm strike, which halts the former Bhamp from sending her across the ring. Raven is able to whip Woogie across the ring but she’s unsuccessful with the shoulder block take down! Raven whips around, looking to connect with ‘The Facelift’ but Woogie ducks underneath, grabs her by the waist, and takes her down to the mat with a side waistlock!
James Peters: Raven is quickly able to work her way out and she grabs Woogie in a front facelock. Both competitors are back to their feet and Woogie is able to work his way free. Raven fires off a stiff forearm shot that connects with Woogie’s jaw and she quickly follows it up with another! Raven is absolutely unloading on Woogie right now and she’s got him reeling! Raven grabs him and sends him into the ropes and she brings him down with a big boot to the face! Woogie quickly works his way back to his knees and Raven helps him back to his feet. She unloads a massive chop to Woogie’s chest.
Rich Russillo: That chop just echoed throughout this arena and Raven nails Woogie with another! The champ hits a third chop and Woogie finally fires back! Woogie struggles and Raven tries to lock a body scissors around him! Woogie is somehow able to elbow his way out of the choke and he crawls to the ropes, pulling himself onto the apron. Raven gets onto the apron as well and she pulls Woogie up, wrapping her arm around his neck. Raven drops Woogie onto the hardest part of the ring with a DDT and she pushes him back inside!

Raven trying to block as many punches as she can before Woogie backs off! Woogie is waiting for Raven to get up as Raven manages to pull herself up to her feet leaning against the ropes! Rich Russillo: :mjcry: Whilst our savior has lost we have to give congrats to Raven. She went through hell tonight with a match she’s unfamiliar with and she manages to pull out a win against Woogie!
James Peters: Let’s not take anything away from Woogie was it shows he was much more than the prestigious title he had. It shows he can fight with the big ones, believe it or not, it might not be too long before he gets a world title match :blessed:. But other than that, congrats to Raven! Could this possibly be a preview of Road to Redemption with her coming out on top?
(The last shot is of Raven holding up the Universal Women’s Championship at the ramp as the camera fades to commercial.)
(Commercial break for Excedrin Migraine. Toothache plus migraine plus reaction to a flu shot is just not a good combination, but you can at least squash the headache with some Excedrin!)
(The scene reopens with a shot of Korey Gaines storming down the hallway. Obvious frustration has settled across his face having failed in his quest to get inside the Extreme Elimination Chamber. The Aerial Wonder has done everything he can to try and break out, but thus far nothing seems to be working. He heads right for Captain Charisma’s office, but Voltage Commish is actually and coincidentally heading in Korey’s direction.)
Captain Charisma: Whoa. Slow down before you run someone over.
(Korey glares at CC, but he does come to a stop. Captain Charisma stops as well and he slides his hands into the pockets of his dress slacks.)
Captain Charisma: What’s going on?
(Korey takes a breath to try and settle himself down, but it’s obvious he’s upset.)
Korey Gaines: I’m pissed. I’m frustrated. I don’t know what else I can possibly do to try and pick up a victory. I thought for sure this season was going to be different, and that my rookie campaign was just that… that of a rookie. I’m truly at a loss right now. I really thought I was going to win tonight and get a spot inside the Extreme Elimination Chamber.
(Captain Charisma doesn’t immediately reply. He takes in Korey’s frustration and his obvious disappointment, and finally the Hall of Famer sighs.)
Captain Charisma: I understand that you are used to competing AND winning at a high level. Your background and prior achievements dictates that, but what you need to learn is that sometimes it takes years for people to break out and get their hands on what they desire. Take Terry Chambers for instance. He is just now reaching his peak and it took a lot of patience, maturity, and growth on his part to finally get where he’s at right now. Success isn’t necessarily going to happen overnight, and the more pressure you put on yourself, the more likely you’ll be to make a mistake or find another obstacle that sets you back.
(Korey is not in the mood for the fatherly advice of someone who has been there before. He scowls at CC and shakes his head.)
Korey Gaines: It’s easy for you to stand there and tell me that because you’re a retired competitor and a Hall of Famer. You got your wins and your championships, and did all these cool things. I just can’t seem to catch a break, and I really don’t know what else I can do at this point. I don’t want to sound like I’m whining, or whatever, but shit, CC. I really wanted my chance to compete at Road to Redemption.
(Korey shakes his head once again.)
Captain Charisma: I understand your frustration, but I’m telling you, Korey, you are putting too much pressure on yourself. You have got to relax, enjoy the ride, and just let things happen organically. You aren’t going to win every match. You might not even win the majority of your matches in the beginning stages of your career. But there will come a time where it’s all going to click for you and everything will fall into place. Just keep your head up and keep working towards your goals. Don’t give up and don’t doubt yourself.
Korey Gaines: That still doesn’t get me on the Road to Redemption card. I lost my chance. I wasn’t able to put Andrea away and now I’m stuck on the outside looking in.
Captain Charisma: :mjgrin: Are you sure about that?
(Korey raises an eyebrow.)
Korey Gaines: ….
Captain Charisma: Once upon a time there was a match created to honor the late, great Extreme Enigma. At that time it was an elimination match, but Jenny Punk, Starr Stan, and myself have been talking and have decided to repackage that match and put together the first ever Extreme Enigma Battle Royal for Road to Redemption. As it says ‘extreme’ in the title, anything goes, and you are eliminated once your feet hit the floor. There’s a trophy for the winner and a $100,000.00 bonus check. How’s that for an opportunity?
Korey Gaines: :oh: That… that actually sounds amazing. Extreme Enigma is a wrestler that I have nothing but the utmost resp-
(Korey is abruptly cut off when someone slams into him from behind!)
Captain Charisma: SECURITY!
(Newcomer Komatsu Ogawa begins unloading a flurry of fists on Korey! Korey is quick to throw Komatsu off of him and scrambles to his feet! He flies at Komatsu and catches him with a knee, and begins hammer blows down onto the neck and back of Komatsu! Komatsu reaches up and low blows Korey, and that drops Korey to the ground! Komatsu begins stomping away on Korey as security rushes in and pulls him away.)
Komatsu Ogawa: You talked a lot of shit this week about me, Gaines, and don’t think that went unnoticed. Did you see what I did earlier tonight?! After the prick Shawn Sturgis robbed me of my debut victory, I likely ended the careers of Matthew King and Ezio DeLuca!
(Korey has picked himself up off the ground and he is fuming. Security is restraining him and Captain Charisma is just completely disgusted with how everything unfolded just now.)
Captain Charisma (addressing Komatsu): You have been signed for two weeks and have already become a pain in the ass. I should either suspend you or fire you for your actions earlier tonight, but you know what I’m going to do? Since the two of you want to fight so bad *CC looks from Komatsu to Korey now* I’m going to let you fight next week on Voltage.
Korey Gaines: That’s fine by me.
Komatsu Ogawa: I didn’t come here to be a bitch and not make an impact. Let’s fight and do this shit deathmatch style.
Korey Gaines: You know what? Fine. You want a deathmatch, I’ll fuck you up in a deathmatch.
Captain Charisma: :mjgrin: Well, if that’s what you are both agreeing too, then I guess next week we’ll have a deathmatch. If either of you touch each other before next week, I will cancel the match and ban you both from competing at Road to Redemption. Do I make myself clear?
(Komatsu is grinning like a maniac. He shrugs off security and straightens his clothes.)
Komatsu Ogawa: Crystal.
(He heads off, having gotten exactly what he wanted, and once he is out of sight, security lets go of Korey. Korey glares at Captain Charisma, and the commish just shrugs.)
Captain Charisma: You wanted an opportunity, here’s a good one. Beat Komatsu next week and carry that momentum into Road to Redemption.
(Captain Charisma heads off, leaving Korey to contemplate those words. The Aerial Wonder is still frustrated, although there is a hint of confidence across his face. He’s certainly ready to take on Komatsu Ogawa next week.)
(Voltage fades to the ringside area where Bella is waiting to announce the next match.)

Rich Russillo: Time to find out which one of these Elitists are headed for the Extremest Chamber of Elimination in EAW History!
James Peters: You’re overselling this already.

(Shortfuse PAKA steps out onto the stage, raising an open palm up above his head before he turns his attention to stalking down the ramp and towards the ring.)
Bella Braxton: From The Arm Bar… in France… weighing in at 225 lbs… SHORTFUUUUUUUUUUUSE PAAAAAAAAAAAAKAAAAAAAAAAAA!
(Shortfuse PAKA climbs up onto the apron and ducks into the ring. He stomps around to look out at the crowd a bit before leaning back into the corner and rubbing his open palms together.)
Bella Braxton: And his opponent…
(Gangsta by New Years Day hits and there’s an explosive pop from the crowd as The Red Queen herself runs out onto the stage.)
Bella Braxton: From Calabasas, California… the EXTREME Face of Elite Answers Wrestling… MS. EXXXXXXXXTREEEEEEEEEMEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
(Ms. Extreme explodes with chaotic energy as she rushes down that ramp and slides into the ring. On her feet, her hair gets tossed wildly as she hops up turnbuckles and throws her arms out for the crowd.)
James Peters: The Red-Headed Stepchild of kicking your ass is in the building!
Rich Russillo: You really should leave the unofficial nicknames to me. You’re doing it all wrong.
James Peters: Maybe if you’d be a bit more supportive.
Rich Russillo: There ain’t a Miracle Bra in the world that could offer you enough support…
(Ms. Extreme climbs down from her last turnbuckle perch and backs into the corner to acknowledge her opponent.)
James Peters: As mentioned before by the beautiful Bella Braxton, this match right here is a qualifier match for the Extreme Elimination Chamber.
Rich Russillo: And don’t think just because Ms. Extreme is in this match that she’s headed for the W. Shortfuse PAKA has been on a serious roll in recent weeks.
James Peters: No doubt. This match right here is definitely anyone’s to take. Just like that spot in the Chamber. No Cap.
Rich Russillo: … don’t do that.
James Peters: Yeah, fair. That felt weird.
(DING DING DING!)
James Peters: No time to waste! PAKA and Extreme going at each other without a second thought! PAKA getting the upper hand with a swift palm strike to the side of Extreme’s head. She whips her head back towards PAKA and lays into the side of his head with a stiff forearm of her own! They’re trading blows here! Palm Strike! Forearm Smash! Palm Strike! Forearm Smash! Palm Str– NO! MS. EXTREME DUCKS UNDER! Extreme behind PAKA now! She’s going for another smashing forearm to the back of PAKA’s neck but PAKA turns around and sends her to the mat with a sudden shoulder block!
Rich Russillo: Ms. Extreme’s not even down a full second. She rolls with the impact of that mat and hops right back up to her feet. She backs into the ropes for some, bounding off in a quick sprint back towards PAKA. PAKA goes for a lariat but Ms. Extreme is just too quick! She’s up and over, a modified leapfrog to steer clear! She hits the ropes on the other side and sails towards PAKA with ease! PAKA turns around and catches a pair of boots right to the face! Tremendous dropkick from Ms. Extreme to send the PAKA of Shortfuses down to the mat!
James Peters: Ms. Extreme is not one to give someone a chance to breathe. Especially not someone as explosive as Shortfuse PAKA! She’s right there as he tries to get back to his feet to lay a boot to the side of his skull. This sends him back down to the mat where she can get a couple more stomps in! Each of them to one of PAKA’s shoulders! Ms. Extreme backing off for just a moment and Shortfuse PAKA using that moment to roll away and pull himself back up to his feet. He’s got those ropes as leverage and that’s enough for the ref to keep Ms. Extreme from capitalizing yet again.
Rich Russillo: Shortfuse PAKA’s impressive ring intelligence is on display once again. PAKA releasing the ropes now that he’s on his feet again. PAKA rushes Extreme, picking her up and slamming her back first into the turnbuckle. PAKA doesn’t let go until a couple of elbows from Ms. Extreme cause him to release her. PAKA steps back and aims a sudden shoulder thrust in Ms. Extreme’s direction! But she grabs onto the ropes, swings her legs up and PAKA goes smashing shoulder first into the turnbuckle. PAKA clutches his shoulder as he stumbles backward and out of the corner! Ms. Extreme hops onto the top rope, she’s airborne! DRAGONRANA! Legs hooked!
ONE! TWO!
James Peters: Kickout! Shortfuse PAKA kicks out! PAKA and Extreme both on their feet again. PAKA’s favoring his shoulder a little bit but he still looks like he’s got nothing but fuel left in his tank! Here comes Ms. Extreme! And there goes Ms. Extreme thanks to a brutal spinebuster from Shortfuse PAKA! PAKA clearly trying to slow his faster opponent down here. Ms. Extreme writhes in pain from that powerful spinebuster. But she’s not out of this yet. Ms. Extreme gets back up to her feet and offers PAKA a nod of respect… before taking off like a bat out of hell! But PAKA’s ready for her and sends her sailing across the ring with a belly to belly toss! As Ms. Extreme hits the mat, PAKA favors his shoulder.
Rich Russillo: Oh the cleverness of Ms. Extreme! She was working on that shoulder earlier and it looks like it may be paying off. At the very least it’s giving her a chance to recover as PAKA can’t stay on her as much as he may want to. Ms. Extreme turning the tide here now with a boot to PAKA’s gut. She follows up a swift fisherman suplex! Ms. Extreme pulling up PAKA by the arm, yanking hard on that sore shoulder as she drags him towards the ropes. She hops up onto the middle rope and springboard arm drag! Jesus! PAKA’s arm might’ve been yanked out of the socket on that one!
James Peters: Ms. Extreme is systematically taking apart that Shortfuse PAKA’s shoulder here tonight. This is a calculated assault if I ever saw one.
Rich Russillo: She has to do what she can to topple a superior Elitist!
James Peters: Do you just—
Rich Russillo: I said what I said!
James Peters: PAKA back on the offensive now. A series of knife-edge chops to Ms. Extreme’s throat has her backing up towards the corner. PAKA using his fully functioning arms for these chops and each one looks to be causing Ms. Extreme some extreme pain. PAKA backs her up to the corner and drops her with a knee to the gut! Ms. Extreme slides down to the mat, still leaning back into the turnbuckle. PAKA gives himself some room… running hip attack! Ms. Extreme gets clobbered by PAKA’s weighty arrival! She looks like she’s completely out of it. I don’t even wanna’ begin to think about what that felt like!
Rich Russillo: Victory. It felt like a victory, JP. Shortfuse PAKA is about to take this one all the way home.
James Peters: Shush.
Rich Russillo: PAKA grabs Extreme by the hair and drags her out of the corner and drops her down to the mat with a DDT! PAKA wasting no time! He covers!

James Peters: An extreme kick out by Ms Extreme!
Rich Russillo: That was uncalled for.
James Peters: But worth it.
Rich Russillo: Extreme and PAKA both on their feet now. They’re running at each other but this time Ms. Extreme catches PAKA with a flying spinning heel kick that knocks the taste right out of his mouth and back to France! Ms. Extreme is not done! Not by a long shot! PAKA’s still on the mat and Ms. Extreme is headed to the top rope. She motions to the crowd and then down at PAKA before leaping off with a SHOOTING STAR SENTON! PAKA CATCHES ALL OF IT AND MS. EXTREME IS BACK IN CONTROL OF THIS MATCH!
James Peters: Ms. Extreme drags Shortfuse PAKA up to his feet and locks her arms around his waist for a satisfying German suplex! PAKA crumples against the mat and Ms. Extreme rolls away to get herself some space. She’s stalking PAKA now, her hands rubbing at her knees before she climbs up onto those ropes again. PAKA’s wobbly as he gets to his feet. He’s not sure where Ms. Extreme is! PAKA turns! Ms. Extreme leaps off! Meteora! NO! NO! Shortfuse PAKA catches Ms. Extreme in mid-air! POWERBOMB! HOLY SHIT! PAKA WITH A POWERBOMB TO MS. EXTREME!
Rich Russillo: Ms. Extreme is down and so is Shortfuse PAKA! He can’t make the cover! His shoulder is in pain! Every time he uses his arm he makes the pain worse! Ms. Extreme isn’t even moving after that. Shortfuse PAKA drags himself up to his feet and stumbles towards Ms. Extreme. Ms. Extreme slowly lifts herself up into a seated position. This gives PAKA the opening he was looking for and he picks up speed and cracks his leg across Ms. Extreme’s back with a brutal penalty kick!
James Peters: Ms. Extreme falls forward holding her back now! PAKA’s turn for a little systematic breakdown of Ms. Extreme. PAKA wanting to keep control of this match now, he sends couple of brutal stomps to the back of Ms. Extreme! Adding injury to injury here now as he continues to work on her back! PAKA backs off towards the ropes as Ms. Extreme rolls over, still in pain. PAKA climbing the turnbuckle now– his back is to Ms. Extreme! Ms. Extreme gets to her feet quickly! She rushes for that corner, flipping up into a headstand… headscissors from behind! Ms. Extreme takes PAKA down to the mat with an amazing show of agility and strength! PAKA’s down and Ms. Extreme rolls him over to hook his leg. The ref drops down to make the count!

TWOOOO!
Rich Russillo: PAKA POWERS OUT! Shortfuse PAKA using all strength and all instinct to power out of that pin attempt! Ms. Extreme looks pissed and Shortfuse PAKA looks just as angry! Both competitors get back to their feet now and it looks like it’s about to be an adrenaline rush battle because the second wind just kicked in for both Ms. Extreme and Shotfuse PAKA!
James Peters: You can say that again but please don’t. Shortfuse PAKA gets the upper hand and Irish whips Ms. Extreme into the ropes. She rebounds off and aims a clothesline but PAKA drops down! Ms. Extreme rebounds off the other ropes, Paka hops back up to attack but Ms. Extreme leapfrogs over him! Ms. Extreme grabs the ropes to slow herself back down and locks eyes with PAKA.
Rich Russillo: What an exchange between those two just now. They really had each other’s numbers for a moment.
James Peters: They’ve been going at it hard all night. They know exactly what each other is capable of.
Rich Russillo: And right now PAKA is capable of taking the fight to Ms. Extreme because he launches himself at her in a rage! Ms. Extreme is not one to back down from a challenge and rage runs back at PAKA! PAKA’s the quicker one this time around as he leaps up and sends Ms. Extreme sailing through the ropes with a vicious SHOTGUN DROPKICK! Ms. Extreme is down on the outside and it doesn’t look like PAKA is through. Not just yet!
James Peters: You’re right about that. As we can see right here, Shortfuse PAKA is getting himself hyped up here! Meanwhile. Ms. Extreme’s getting back to her feet out here on the outside. PAKA’s across the ring…
Shortfuse PAKA: (Off-Mic) HEY MERDE!
James Peters: There he goes… PAKA headed for the ropes… WRECKING BALL PLANCHA! HOLY SHIT! Shortfuse PAKA takes Ms. Extreme back down to the floor with his signature headbutt suicide dive! PAKA might be taking this W home after that. Shortfuse PAKA grabs Ms. Extreme by the hair and pulls her back up to roll back into the ring! He follows after her and immediately grabs her by the legs! Shortfuse Lock! The Shortfuse Lock is locked in!
Rich Russillo: She’s gonna’ tap! Ms. Extreme is gonna’ tap out to the Shortfuse Lock! After the hurting he put on her back earlier in this match there’s no way she’s gonna’ be able to withstand the pain! Tap out, Extreme! Do it! TAP!
James Peters: Careful, Richie. Your bias is showing.
Rich Russillo: It’s for her own good! It’s tap out or broken back!
James Peters: Or… it’s what’s happening right now! Holy shit, folks! Ms. Extreme is pushing herself up onto her hands! PAKA is wrenching her back but she’s not giving in! She pulls with all her might, dragging PAKA behind her as she tries to get herself to the ropes! PAKA realizes what’s happening and he’s trying to keep his hold locked in! PAKA looks like he’s in pain as well!
Rich Russillo: That’s right! Shit! PAKA’s shoulder’s not a hundred percent either! He can’t hold her in this position much longer!
James Peters: Ms. Extreme reaches… she’s almost there! PAKA struggling to pull her back but Ms. Extreme WILLS herself and snatches the bottom rope with her hand! The official is right there to break the hold! Maybe even to the relief of Shortfuse PAKA.
Rich Russillo: Ms. Extreme and Shortfuse PAKA both are in pain but one of them has to get the upper hand here. One of them needs to put the other away. Ms. Extreme pulling herself up to her feet. Shortfuse PAKA trying to work the pain out of his shoulder. Both competitors look tired but still hungry. They want that spot in the chamber and they know that they are standing in each other’s way.
James Peters: PAKA and Extreme meet in the center of the ring. An open palm strike from Shortfuse PAKA across Ms. Extreme’s chest! Ms. Extreme retaliates with a forearm smash to PAKA’s head! They’ve come full circle! PAKA staggers Ms. Extreme with another palm strike! He immediately follows up– KNOCKOUT HEADBUTT! KNOCKOUT HEADBUTT!

And he also has Charlie Marr, someone who he has no love loss for. There’s a lot on the line for Jack Ripley tonight but I’m sure if you’ve seen a Jack Ripley match, the dude can turn the tables in a split second. It’s hard to call who might get the win in this match, but there’s one thing we can say for certain and that’s the fact that Jack Ripley is the underdog tonight.
(Jack Ripley goes onto the steel steps and looks out to the crowd before entering the ring. He takes a spin and raises his arms in the air. Charlie Marr wastes no time trying to get to him but the Ref quickly backs him off. Jack goes to the top rope and throws his arms in the air before hopping off and warming up as “BxMxC” fades out. Both of these competitors are staring daggers into each other as the Ref signals for the bell)

Charlie stumbles to a knee as Jack lifts him up! BRAINBUSTER AS CHARLIE IS DOWN!!!
Rich Russillo: Jack has the early advantage in this match tonight but just remember the tides could change at any moment with the longevity of these two competitors coming into play tonight!
