(EAW intro plays.)
(The camera opens up as usual and a recap of last week’s Voltage begins to play. It starts with Drake doubling down on what he said last time, he was willing to destroy EAW after everything that happened, and his first step would be at the Elimination Chamber as he tries to insert himself on it. Captain Charisma interrupts telling him he can’t just put himself in the Chamber and Drake reminds him of the favor he won because of Territorial Invasion. Captain Charisma isn’t convinced but Minerva and then TLA interrupt saying they have no problem with Drake being in the match, they would be glad to kick his ass again, so Captain Charisma officially announces Drake as another participant for the Chamber.)
(Haruka Kashimashi defeats Abel Atami. The Ice Aces go to Captain Charisma’s office, tired of continuing to deal with Eden and her group, so he decides to set a match: Ayu and Usagi versus Candice and Sierra for Road to Redemption in a No DQ Match. The Ice Aces gladly accept that offer. Halsey Neel defeats Nick Hart. Minerva has an interview with Sofia Clarke. TLA and MarrKade defeat Candice, Ronan and Sierra.)
(Dr. Doyle visits Captain Charisma and Eden Sinclair. After everything that happened, he believes it is a good decision that Samael is released, but Captain Charisma and Eden don’t budge, believing everything will go ok alongside the fact that Samael has been inserted into the Voltage Elimination Chamber. Dr. Doyle knows they won’t budge so he ends up giving up and leaving. Drake King and Hikari Kanno’s match ends in a no contest due to Cameron brawling it out with Hikari. Captain Charisma comes out to the ring to make a few announcements. First of all he talks about the Hardcore Championship situation as both Charlie Marr and Theron Nikolas come out to complain about it. He is willing to make a match between them for the Hardcore Championship at the Christmas Show but Hikari Kanno and Daryl Kinkade come out to wanting a shot as well, and so with everyone bickering, Captain Charisma sets a fatal four way between all the competitors for the Hardcore Championship at the Christmas Show. As for Road to Redemption, Daryl is inserted into the Extreme Enigma Memorial Match and both Charlie and Theron are inserted into the Elimination Chamber.)
(In the main event, The Prescription successfully defended their championships against Donovan Duke and Adam Lucas in an excellent match, as Soul Food Sunday attacked them after the match and sent them a message. Finally, the show ends with Yhwach O’Hara coming out and explaining himself, his side of the story, wanting payback on what Myles did to him. Myles then comes out himself explaining that if he wanted revenge he could have challenged him straight up instead of attacking him like that. Yhwach says he doesn’t operate on Myles’ time but Myles retorts back that he isn’t willing to forget what happened at Wicked Games and he wants a match at Road to Redemption. Yhwach ends up accepting the match himself and the show ends with Yhwach and Myles staring straight at each other.)
(Sunday Night Voltage fades away to show a shot of the Thong Nhat Stadium in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. An edited version of ‘33rd Blakk Glass’ by ZilaKami & SosMula is played through the speakers as spotlights are panning around and golden pyro is shooting out from the stage. The crowd cheers wildly while the camera then goes over to show the broadcasting team of Rich Russillo, James Peters, and Persephone.)
Rich Russillo: Welcome everyone…to SUNDAY NIGHT VOLTAGE!!! We are getting closer and closer towards Road to Redemption, closer to all of the matches that have been hyped out for the event, the EAW Universe is very excited for Road to Redemption but we are just as excited to show what is in store for Voltage tonight!
James Peters: We have first off all Ayu Megumi going up against Ronan Malosi, an Elimination Chamber Preview Match with Samael and Kylie Grace going up against ARIA and TLA, alongside SOSA Henderson facing off against one half of the Unified Tag Team Champions, Dr. Bethany Blue!
Rich Russillo: Alongside that we have a second Elimination Preview Match! A massive match with Drake King and Minerva going up against Charlie Marr and Theron Nikolas! Can they coexist?! And finally, our main event as one third of the Ice Aces Usagi Senshi faces the returning EAW Hall of Famer Cameron Ella Ava!
Persephone: I can’t wait for Road to Redemption and the festivities! Do you guys know how much I love Christmas? It is one of my favorite holidays as I enjoy everyone being happy and hearing the definitely not repetitive songs for it! All I want for Christmas is to watch Frozen, and that wish has nothing to do at all with product placement 🙂 Anyway, let’s get on with the show!
(Voltage fades to the middle of the ring, where James Peters is now seen with a microphone in his hand. During the chatter with Rich and Persephone, he had gotten up and into the ring. There are six chairs behind him, and the fans are cheering loudly as they’re ready for tonight’s show. James has a smile on his face, and as the fans quiet down he finally begins to speak.)
James Peters: Ladies and gentlemen, in just a few short weeks we’ll be seeing the Elimination Chamber for EAW World Championship, and it’s no exaggeration to call this one of Voltage’s biggest matches of the entire season! Already we’ve learned all six of the participants in this match, and this is without a doubt going to be an incredible match as all six competitors are amazing! These are some of the most talented wrestlers on the planet, and I’ve been granted the opportunity to have an interview with the six competitors, right here and right now!
(The fans explode into cheers, and James Peters continues.)
James Peters: I think there’s no better place to start than with the first Elitist to earn a spot with this match! This man is a two-time World Champion and a former Extreme Elimination Chamber winner, so that alone should tell you all just how great of a chance he has of leaving this match with his third World Championship! Ladies and gentlemen.. Please welcome TLA!!
(‘Ambitionz az a Ridah’ by Tupac hits, and the crowd explodes into cheers as TLA begins making his way out with a microphone in his hand and a smirk on his face. The fans are all excited to see him tonight as he begins making his way down the ramp, and from the look on his face, TLA is clearly confident in his ability to leave Road to Redemption as the new EAW World Champion. TLA makes his way up the steel steps before approaching the seat all the way to the side of the ring, and he begins to speak.)
TLA: Orale Vietnam! You know we out here and we on that Road to Redemption. We be heading on down them calles and you know a vato stay running them calles. We entering that Extreme Elimination Chamber and there ain’t no doubt whatsoever en mi cabeza that we walking out with all of that gold. We been hustling all year long. It been a long road to get here but now we getting that redemption in with the quickness. You know that I be collecting Ws on Ws on Ws and you said it before. I have won the Extreme Elimination Chamber before and I can do it again. I been in this lucha libre game a long time but we just getting started as far as I’m concerned so you know I am out here. The first to throw mi nombre down. First to enter the lucha. First in. Last out.
James Peters: I believe you have a great chance of winning this match TLA, and from the sound of it, it looks like there’s thousands of people here tonight that want to see you pick up the victory!
(The fans continue to cheer, and as TLA takes his seat James Peters keeps speaking.)
James Peters: Next up is the man who used his favor for winning the Anarchy in the Arena match at Territorial Invasion to gain a spot in this match! He is also a two-time World Champion and former Elimination Chamber winner. This is another man that has a great chance of leaving Road to Redemption with his third World Championship, Drake King!
(‘Cold War’ by Hans Zimmer hits, and much like TLA, Drake King is seen already holding a microphone in his hand as he slowly begins to walk out to the stage. The fans are booing extremely loudly for Drake, and Drake doesn’t wait to enter the ring to begin speaking, instead choosing to start on his way down the ramp.)
Drake King: I’m really not sure why TLA is getting a World Championship match in 2022. Pretending he “earned” a spot in the Chamber through that mess of a match at Wicked Games is ridiculous when we all know how that match went.
TLA: Tranquilo pendejo. You know that we ain’t gotta do this all again. I am getting a World Championship Match in 2022. Also getting one in 2023, 2024, 2025. En todos los años. But you the last one who gots to say something to me considering I just came through and ran through yo hide most recently at Wicked Games. I straight up earned my spot and ain’t had to cash in on no favors either.
(Drake just shakes his head with a look of disgust on his face as he finally enters the ring, taking a seat in the chair on the opposite side of the ring, furthest from TLA. Once it becomes apparent that Drake doesn’t have much to say about the match the same way TLA did, James begins to speak.)
James Peters: Well, next up on the list is none other than the 24/7 Contract Holder! He may not be a former World Champion like the other Elitists in this match, but he earned an opportunity to compete in this Chamber after a fantastic season, defeating names like Daryl Kinkade! This man is one of three Elitists here who could become a double Champion, so please welcome Samael!
Drake King: That’s another person who shouldn’t be in this match, and he definitely shouldn’t be in the company right now. If anybody knew what they were doing around here he’d be in a prison cell, not preparing to compete in an Elimination Chamber.
TLA: They prolly should have brought Drake King out last because he is just going to hate all night long. Gotta hate on errybody they bring out. Hating a true talent and he be expressing himself fiercely tonight. Where that vato Samael be at yo?
(As the two finish arguing, ‘Down with the Sickness’ by Disturbed hits. More boos come from the crowd, but there’s not an immediate answer this time around like there was when TLA and Drake made their own entrances.)
Rich Russillo: Huh?
(Eventually, the crowd goes silent, waiting in confusion as Samael is nowhere to be seen.)
Drake King: Wow. Maybe Captain Charisma finally came to his senses and realized that Samael shouldn’t be anywhere near a wrestling ri-
Michael: 👋😃 Hey everybody!
TLA:
Drake King: :francis:
(Suddenly, Michael begins making his way out with a huge smile on his face, as well as a microphone in his hand. Michael looks very excited, not wasting any time as he begins to speak on his way to the ring.)
Michael: I can’t wait! Road to Redemption is gonna be so much fun! I’m so excited to face cool wrestlers like TLA!! He’s so nice, I’m glad we get to see each other again!
(Michael gets in the ring before running up to TLA, giving his former Territorial Invasion partner a high five. Michael turns to Drake after this, and the smile on his face disappears.)
Michael: I don’t like you very much, though. You’re mean.
(The two Elitists stare at each other and Drake is clearly very uncomfortable, but the tension is broken as Michael takes a seat in the chair next to TLA, putting a smile on his face as he looks back at James Peters.)
Michael: Elimination Chamber matches are really exciting, right?? There’s six of us and we all get to have a lot of fun!
James Peters: Well.. Um… Yes, Elimination Chamber matches typically are really exciting. Definitely some of the most exciting matches of the year, but arguably some of the most dangerous.
Michael: Dangerous???
(James remains silent, clearly a bit worried about Michael’s reaction, but after a few seconds of silence, James is able to regain his composure, choosing to move on and get to the next entrant.)
James Peters: Well.. Next up is a former World Champion, in fact, a man who had one of the longest Answers World Championship reigns of all time just a few years ago. He has history with the Elimination Chamber and he’s the second of the three Elitists that could become a double Champion this season as after this, he’ll be competing for the Hardcore Championship. Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome Theron Nikolas!
(‘Pass the Nirvana’ by PTV hits, causing more of a mixed reaction as Theron Nikolas begins to walk out. Theron doesn’t pay attention to the crowd reaction, staring directly at the competitors inside of the ring. Much like the first three competitors, Theron has a microphone in his hand, and he makes his way down the ramp as the three inside of the ring watch on. Michael noticeably looks unhappy seeing Theron, and he begins to speak up.)
Michael: Oh no… I remember you. You were mean to me too!
(After a few seconds, the look on Michael’s face changes into more of a smile.)
Michael: 😄 Well, maybe you guys changed and we can all be friends this time!
(Theron just ignores Michael, walking up the steel steps and entering the ring as he finally begins to speak.)
Theron Nikolas: I hope that the three of you, as well as the two that’ll be walking out after me, understand that I didn’t enter this match solely to become EAW World Champion. I can’t deny how big this match is. I’ve competed in the Extreme Elimination Chamber before, so I know what’s on the line here. This is a chance for me to stand at the top of the Voltage roster, and do bigger things as EAW World Champion than I ever did as Answers World Champion. It’s the type of opportunity every Elitist on this brand wants, but it’s not my sole motivation. I’m here because there’s been a target on my back for weeks, and I’m not going to allow an Elitist like Charlie Marr to end his year as World Champion after trying to take me out of the picture.
Drake King: It sounds to me like you’re both wasting your time then.
Theron Nikolas: I wouldn’t be so sure. It’s an elimination match after all, and once Charlie is out of the picture, I’ll-
(‘Praise the Lord by Bandokay cuts Theron Nikolas off, and the entire arena explodes with boos for the Hardcore Champion. Theron Nikolas immediately turns towards the stage, as does the other three competitors, and Charlie Marr begins to walk out with the Hardcore Championship around his waist and a microphone in his hand. There’s a smirk on his face, and he begins to speak on his way down the ramp.)
Charlie Marr: Nobody actually gives a *BLEEP* what Theron has to say, so let’s just move on to the one participant in this match that actually matters. Not Theron Nikolas, not Drake King, not TLA or whatever the hell that is next to him, but me. The current Hardcore Champion whose reign won’t be ending anytime soon, former EAW World Champion and soon-to-be TWO-TIME EAW World Champion once Road to Redemption is over!
(Charlie Marr enters the ring, and neither Theron nor Charlie takes a seat, instead standing almost face to face as they continue.)
Theron Nikolas: You don’t seem to get tired of hearing yourself speak.
Charlie Marr: Why would I? I’m not saying anything that isn’t true. I have enough experience with the Elimination Chamber, and the last time I was in one of these Chambers with the EAW Championship on the line, I had one of the most dominant performances this company has ever seen.
TLA: Es verdad? Yo I ain’t even remember that. That must be some real ancient lore. Like a real long time ago. Does anyone here remember that? Like that gotta be at least three years ago at least. Was EAW even around all the way back then holmes? :oh:
Charlie Marr: Very funny. You know exactly what happened that year, and I’m way better now than I was back then. Things won’t be like they were last year, TLA. Don’t be surprised if you’re only in the match for five minutes.
Michael: That’s not a long time 😕. How will we have any fun if he goes away?
Drake King: That’s the point..
Michael: :oh: So it’s like a game!? Games are fun, now I’m even more excited! I can’t wait for the Elimination Chamber!!!
Drake King: I don’t really care. I’m not even sure why an interview like this needs to happen for such a pointless match.
TLA: All facts Miguel. You know we playing all kinds of fun games. But we ain’t inviting the mean gringos to the fiesta. We gotta keep that game straight tranquilo. If Drake got so much of an issue with it he can go sit it out in the emo corner while the rest of us do our thang.
(Theron turns to Drake before speaking.)
Theron Nikolas: Didn’t you use your favor just to enter this match?
Drake King: Yeah, because none of you should have an Elimination Chamber win or the EAW World Championship. I’m sure I’ve explained this already.
Charlie Marr: Nobody was listening, and nobody cares what you’re doing here. All that matters is-
Theron Nikolas: All that matters is that you won’t be winning the EAW World Championship. I’ll make sure of that, though with your history I’m sure you’d find a way to humiliate yourself even without me.
(There’s a staredown between Charlie and Theron, but before things could get any worse between the two, ‘Blood, Milk & Sky’ by White Zombie hits. The fans immediately begin cheering as loud as they can, and finally the EAW World Champion begins to walk out. Minerva has her Championship on her shoulder as well as a microphone in her hand, and she looks confident as she makes her way down the ramp, despite all five of her opponents in the Elimination Chamber being in the ring. Once she gets in the ring she looks directly at James Peters before beginning to speak.)
Minerva: I don’t need an introduction. This Championship on my shoulder, my record throughout this title reign and the fact that I’ve faced and defeated all but one of the competitors currently in the ring just this season should be enough to let everyone here understand the kind of Elitist I am. It’s not like anyone in the ring needs an explanation either, so why don’t we just get to the questions?
(Minerva takes a seat, and James Peters just nods his head before getting to the first question.)
James Peters: So, how-
Charlie Marr: Now hold on a second.
TLA: :francis:
(Charlie walks up to Minerva.)
Charlie Marr: If you think Wicked Games was supposed to prove anything to me, you’re so wrong it’s not even funny.
Minerva: I don’t *think* Wicked Games proved anything. You promised to end that night as a double Champion, and the entire world knows that you were completely wrong. You were wrong about me, you were wrong about your own ability, and now you’re wrong about this Elimination Chamber, because for some reason you actually believed putting yourself in the position to fail once again was a good idea.
(Theron, Minerva and Charlie all share looks at each other, meanwhile Drake King and TLA watch on. Eventually, the silence from this staredown is broken by Michael.)
Michael: Hey Minerva! It’s nice to see you again! Road to Redemption will be so fun, right!?
(Minerva turns to Michael, not too impressed by the personality of Samael that’s appeared tonight.)
Minerva: Sure, you could say that.
(Minerva looks back at James Peters, who finally starts to speak once again.)
James Peters: Well, back to the question then.. All six of you either have history with each other, history competing in Elimination Chambers, or both. With that being said, what does being in a match like this mean to you?
Michael: Oh, I can answer this! It’s gonna be a lot of fun facing these guys again! I remember last time things weren’t so nice with some of them, but that’s okay! This time it’ll be different, and we’ll all be friends!
(The five competitors take a look at each other after Michael’s words, immediately shaking their heads in disgust at the idea of becoming friends with each other.)
Theron Nikolas: That won’t be happening anytime soon, but I’ll answer the question even if it should be obvious by now. My goal for a long time now has been to better myself, to surpass the Theron Nikolas of three years ago and become something else entirely. The Elimination Chamber has given me the opportunity to come one huge step closer towards that goal, and in the process it’s given me the opportunity to remind Charlie Marr of his spot in this company. Not anywhere near the World Championship, not at the top of this company or even just the Voltage roster, but at the very bottom.
Charlie Marr: :mjlol: That’s really funny coming from you.
Theron Nikolas: I’m sure it is, and I’d love to see if you’re still laughing once this is all over.
Charlie Marr: I will be, because at Road to Redemption I’m getting what I deserve and the week after that I’ll be retaining the Hardcore Championship. This is the best Hardcore title reign this place has ever had and I’m about to make it even better by winning the Elimination Chamber. You’re not even gonna be a factor in that match, Theron, so you should really just shut up and leave this to the people…
(Charlie looks around at the rest of the competitors before turning back to Theron and continues.)
Charlie Marr: Or at least the person that actually has a legitimate chance of winning the match.
Theron Nikolas: That’s supposed to be you?
Charlie Marr: Not “supposed to be”, it *is* me.
TLA: Wait hold up… When did Charlie Marr win the Hardcore Championship? Nah this place be wildin’. Titles just appearing outta nowhere. I ain’t even going to complain tho. Maybe one day I will have answers to that mystery but for now imma be slanging them answers to that question from the homie James.
James Peters: Great! We’ve heard some interesting answers so far, so what about you, TLA?
Drake King: I don’t think that’s necessary.
TLA: Creo que es muy necesario. You know at Road to Redemption this Extreme Elimination Chamber means a whole lot to me. This whole season despite being a two time World Champion and an EAW Hall of Famer I have had to spend the entire season being told by people like Drake King and Eden Sinclair that I don’t belong here. They came for me, came for my job and while that don’t involve a lot of the people in this match it matters to me. Cuz I gots something to prove to once again remind errybody what I’m about. Show all the haters that not only do I belong here but this is mi casa and I am the Baddest Hombre on the Planet who not only belongs in EAW but dominates the whole place.
Michael: Wow, that’s really nice TLA! I can’t wait to get in the ring with you again!
TLA: For real for real. You know ese we ain’t even have to wait long. We hoppin’ in that ring later tonight. We throwing down right here for these great fans. We ain’t about that wait we about that fight.
James Peters: Well Drake, I feel like we all have an idea of how you’ll answer this, but what does this match mean to you?
Drake King: Nothing. The Elimination Chamber is horrible, everyone in this ring is just as terrible, and the only part of this I’m looking forward to is ruining the match for you all and taking the EAW World Championship away. After spending 2022 constantly being mistreated and stabbed in the back to the point it became clear this place will never change, leaving the Voltage roster without the chance to ever become World Champion would honestly be the best way for me to end the year.
(Minerva rolls her eyes before beginning to speak.)
Minerva: You really are hopeless.
(Minerva turns to James before continuing.)
Minerva: I believe this means I can answer now?
James Peters: Yep, that’s right!
Minerva: Well, I’ve already gone over the fact that this match is full circle for me. One year ago I paid the price of abandoning who I really am for the sake of a ridiculous goal, and now one year later after becoming a better version of myself than ever, I’ll be entering the Elimination Chamber as the Champion against five opponents I know very well. Everyone in this match is going to spend the time we have left promising to win, whether it’s to add to their own legacy or to stop someone else from becoming Champion, but this Chamber won’t be like last years, or 2019’s, or any of these other Chambers anyone’s been part of. I’m not just the best I’ve ever been, I’m also the most dangerous, and this time I know better than to hand over what’s rightfully mine.
Drake King: Here we go..
(Minerva turns to Drake.)
Minerva: Is there something you want to say?
Drake King: Yes, actually. It’s really embarrassing that after a year you’re still holding onto such an obvious lie. You know that I didn’t do what I did at Road to Redemption last year without a good reason, but you know what? I’m sure it’ll make you feel better knowing that this time around I won’t make the mistake of putting myself in that position to begin with. I know better now, and when we get inside that Chamber I’m going to make sure this torturous Championship reign finally comes to an end.
Michael: :whoa: Hey, calm down guys!
(Completely ignoring Michael, Minerva continues speaking to Drake.)
Minerva: I look forward to seeing you try. I care about retaining my Championship more than anything else, but the opportunity to decisively put you down without any excuses is something I’ve been waiting for.
Drake King: I’m sure it is. Taking me out in an Elimination Chamber, that’s something you’ve been trying to do since last year.
Charlie Marr: WE GET IT! You two used to be in a stupid team before breaking up. You guys had half of a season to settle your differences and tear each other apart, nobody’s interested anymore!
(Drake and Minerva turn towards Charlie, and Charlie looks right at Minerva.)
Charlie Marr: I don’t care about your hatred for Drake. The only thing you should be worried about at Road to Redemption is survival, because I can guarantee that things are going to be ten times worse in the Elimination Chamber than they ever were back at Wicked Games.
Minerva: Keep telling yourself that, Charlie.
Theron Nikolas: It really is embarrassing seeing just how far you can go to showcase your arrogance.
TLA: Y’all know speaking of not being interested in some petty beef invading my own business. I was having a fine lucha con Theron. About to put the homie away for good when Charlie decided to get all up in my business too. But that is fine with me cuz y’all just bringing more and more people up in the fight and the more the merrier during these festive holidays seasons. :wow:
Drake King: You’re no better than them, TLA. As far as I’m concerned, it’s concerning that Captain Charisma could see any of you as people worthy of headlining marquee events.
TLA: I disagree I am better than everyone in the world. Especially yo greasy ass. Munch munch you know you stay eating. Keep mouthing off tho imma slap a motherf-
Michael: :lupe: Guys.. Please stop.
Theron Nikolas: Why are you even out here? *This* isn’t who we’ll be seeing in the Elimination Chamber, is it?
Michael: :lupe: Well.. I..
Charlie Marr: Who cares? The result won’t change whether he’s a manchild or not. Either way I’m winning the match.
Michael: … Please..
TLA: I’d say that Charlie is more like a manchild out here. But judging by he bald dome he might be more like a manbaby amirite.
Michael: …
Drake King: This is ridiculous. Can we go now? I don’t want to share a ring with any of you any longer than I have to. Bad enough I have to team up with Minerva tonight.
Michael: ..
Minerva: Believe me, I’m not thrilled having to work with you again either. Fortunately all bets are off as soon as the match is over, and Road to Redemption is only a few weeks away.
Michael: .
(By this point, every Elitist is standing, staring at each other as they almost seem prepared to fight. This excludes Michael, who is seated in his chair still as he seems terrified. This changes as the arguing continues though, as the fear on his face begins to disappear.)
James Peters: Well… Um guys.. If I could get to the next questio-
Persephone: WOAH!!! MICHAEL JUST GOT UP AND GRABBED THERON NIKOLAS BEFORE THROWING HIM INTO CHARLIE MARR!!!
Rich Russillo: I don’t think that’s Michael anymore! Seeing the power in that throw, that’s gotta be Samael!
Persephone: WELL, SAMAEL JUST CHARGED AT TLA BEFORE TAKING HIM OVER THE TOP ROPE WITH A CLOTHESLINE!!!
(Drake King and Minerva are both surprised by the turn of events, and both Theron Nikolas and Charlie Marr get back to their feet as TLA climbs back up on the barricade. By this point Samael is surrounded as James Peters heads out of the ring and rejoins the commentary team, but Samael doesn’t seem to have any emotion on his face as he stares at the five Elitists.)
James Peters: OKAY, I DON’T KNOW WHAT JUST HAPPENED, BUT IT LOOKS LIKE SAMAEL IS OFFICIALLY HERE!! THE FIVE OTHER COMPETITORS JUST SURROUNDED HIM, BUT SAMAEL CHARGES DIRECTLY AT THEM-
Rich Russillo: BEFORE RECEIVING A BIG BOOT FROM CHARLIE MARR!!! SAMAEL STUMBLES BACK, RIGHT INTO A SPRINGBOARD DROPKICK FROM TLA!!!!
Persephone: SAMAEL FALLS BACKWARDS RIGHT INTO A CHAIR SHOT TO THE BACK OF THE HEAD FROM MINERVA, AND NOW THERON HITS AN ELBOW TO THE BACK OF SAMAEL’S HEAD BEFORE GRABBING HIM FROM BEHIND!!! CARPE DIEM-
James Peters: NO!! SAMAEL PULLS THERON IN INSTEAD, AND GRABS HIM BY THE THROAT!!!! DRAKE KING RUNS IN TO TRY AND ATTACK SAMAEL, BUT SAMAEL DUCKS UNDER HIS STRIKE ATTEMPT BEFORE KICKING HIM IN THE MIDSECTION! NOW IT’S CHARLIE THAT RUNS IN, BUT HE’S CAUGHT BY THE THROAT AS WELL!!!! SAMAEL NOW LIFTING THERON AND CHARLIE UP, TAKING BOTH ELITISTS OUT WITH A DOUBLE CHOKESLAM!!!
Rich Russillo: MINERVA QUICKLY GOES FOR THE DEVIL’S TOUCH BEFORE HE COULD GET BACK UP- BUT SAMAEL CATCHES THE LEG!!! Samael now getting back to his feet as he holds onto Minerva’s leg, BUT TLA RUNS IN AND LANDS AN ELBOW STRIKE THAT FORCES SAMAEL TO LET GO! I think everyone in the ring was able to see how dangerous and out of control Samael is!
Persephone: TLA KICKS SAMAEL’S LEG OUT FROM UNDER HIM BEFORE PULLING HIM IN, AND NOW TLA GOES FOR THE MEXICAN DESTROYER-
James Peters: NO!! SAMAEL BACKS UP BEFORE LIFTING TLA OVER THE TOP ROPE WITH A BACK BODY DROP!!! TLA barely hung onto the ropes before pulling himself up on the apron, BUT SAMAEL NOW RUNS IN BEFORE DROPPING TLA OFF THE APRON WITH THE BLOOD DONATION!!!!
Rich Russillo: GUILLOTINE!!!
Persephone: NO!!! SAMAEL CAUGHT DRAKE IN MID-AIR!!!
James Peters: AND MINERVA HITS SAMAEL WITH THE DEVIL’S TOUCH, CAUSING SAMAEL TO STUMBLE BACKWARDS INTO THE ROPES-
Rich Russillo: BUT AS HE BOUNCES OFF, HE JUST THROWS DRAKE RIGHT AT MINERVA!!! Samael now dragging both Drake and Minerva up by the throats, AND IT LOOKS LIKE THEY’RE MEETING THE SAME FATE AS THERON AND CHARLIE, AS SAMAEL DROPS THEM WITH A DOUBLE CHOKESLAM, RIGHT ONTO THE STEEL CHAIRS!!!!
(Samael stands tall over all five participants of the Elimination Chamber, and during this there’s a brief silence as the fans have no idea how to react to what they just saw. It takes a few seconds, but eventually the crowd begins booing extremely loudly.)
James Peters: Wow.. I’m glad I got out of there when I did. It’s a shame I couldn’t finish the interview, but it looks like it might’ve been for the best.
Rich Russillo: Yeah. Michael snapped and let Samael out, and it looks like it was too much for the five participants! I really didn’t expect such a one sided fight, and that just makes me wonder what’s going to happen at Road to Redemption.
Persephone: :lupe: Samael might just win the Elimination Chamber.
(Samael hasn’t moved at all, just admiring the carnage as ‘Down with the Sickness’ begins to play once again. As all of his five opponents are laid out in the ring and at ringside, Voltage fades out for the first time tonight.)
(Commercial break for Zataran’s featuring Xander Payne eating all of their boxed and frozen meals.)
(Voltage returns to ringside, and Bella Braxton begins to speak.)
Bella Braxton: Ladies and gentlemen… The following contest is scheduled for ONE FALL!!!
Crowd: ONE FALL!!!!
(‘Mo Money’ by Ben McLusky plays as the crowd rains down boos on Ronan Malosi, who begins to wall our to the stage. Ronan arrogantly soaks in the reaction, followed by new allies, Candice Blair and Sierra Everett.)
Amaya: INTRODUCING FIRST..BEING ACCOMPANIED BY CANDICE BLAIR AND SIERRA EVERETT….FROM TRIBECA, NEW YORK…WEIGHING IN AT 285 POUNDS… HE HAS MORE MONEY THAN YOU…ROONNNANNNNN MAALLOOSSSIIII!!!!
Rich Russillo: We all saw him align himself with Eden Sinclair…and frankly I think it’s the least surprising thing ever from this guy, and now he gets big time backup here tonight, you have to wonder if they will play a huge role.
(‘LIKE IT, LOVE IT’ by Setsuna Yuki plays as the crowd gives Ayu a loud ovation. She soaks it in and slaps hands with fans on her way to the ring, before turning her attention to the trio at the ring, focused on her upcoming match.)
Bella Braxton: AND HIS OPPONENT….FROM OKINAWA, JAPAN…WEIGHING IN AT 115 POUNDS….”THE AMAZING GIRL”….AYYYUUUU MEEGGGUUMMMIIIII!!!!!
Rich Russillo: You just know she’s ready to get some anger out after the harassment she’s taken from Candice Blair about her relationship and everything Eden has put The Ice Aces through for quite some time now. Unlike Ronan, she comes out alone which I’m not so sure is a good idea, but we’ll find out in a matter of moments.
(Ding! Ding! Ding!)
James Peters: And this one is underway as Ronan and Ayu circle the ring, just waiting on the other to make the first move, and they finally lock up in a collar and elbow tie-up! Ronan uses his power advantage and gets her in a side headlock. Ayu quickly pushes him to the ropes – AND THEN TAKES HIM DOWN WITH A DROPKICK RIGHT TO THE FACE! Ronan though decides to roll out of the ring to regroup….BUT AYU ISN’T HAVING IT!
Rich Russillo: Ayu slides out of the ring and begins to chase Ronan around the ring, Ronan is running like a bat out of hell… AND OH NO!
(Ronan stands behind Candice and Sierra, forcing Atu to stop in her tracks. Candice steps into the face of Ayu to loud boos.)
Candice Blair: (no mic) :francis: You could’ve let me help you.
Ayu Megumi: (no mic) GET OUT OF MY WAY!
Rich Russillo: Ayu shoves Candice out of her way to get back to Ronan… BUT RONAN TAKES THE DISTRACTION AND LUNGES FORWARD DRIVING THE FOREARM INTO AYU’S FACE!! That plan worked out perfectly it seems. Ronan has that smile on his face as Sierra and Candice encourage him on. Ronan picks her up and tosses her back inside the ring and slides in and measures Ayu up as she turns around…A RIGHT HAND SHOT FROM RONAN THAT DRIVES AYU INTO THE CORNER!! Ronan taunts to the crowd as he backs up to the opposite end, AND THEN RUNS WITH A FULL HEAD OF STEAM – BUT AYU GETS HER FEET UP STOPPING RONAN IN HIS TRACKS!
Persephone: Ayu hops up on the top rope….AND HITS A SUNSET FLIP DROPPING RONAN ON HIS HEAD! AND AYU HAS THE FIRST COVER!!
OOOOONNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!
TTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOO!!!
James Peters: AND RONAN ESCAPES OUT OF IT AS BOTH OF THEM RACE TO THEIR FEET, AS RONAN SWINGS BUT AYU DUCKS IT AND RUNS AND SPRINGBOARDS OFF THE SECOND ROPE – AND SHE GOES FOR THE SPINNING TORNADO DDT! But Ronan uses his power and prevents her from connecting g by holding her upward ….AND TOSSES HER STOMACH FIRST ON THE TOP ROPE! Ayu is a sitting fuck right there as Ronan runs off the ropes….AND DELIVERS A BIG BOOT TO THE FACE AS AYU FALLS TO THE OUTSIDE FLOOR AT THE FEET OF SIERRA EVERETT!
Rich Russillo: Ronan is distracting the referee inside the ring…WHILE SIERRA THROWS AYU SHOULDER FIRST INTO THE BARRICADE BEFORE TOSSING HER BACK INSIDE! Ronan has that grin on his face as Sierra has her hands up in innocence, and Ayu stands and turns to face Ronan.. AND RONAN PICKS HER UP IN A BEARHUG!! Ronan is squeezing the life out of Ayu as she is trying everything possible to find a way out of this!
Persephone: Ronan begins to swing her back and forth as she tries to continue to fight out of this, and she begins to rain elbow shots down on the top of his head! And she manages to get Ronan to let go of her…AND THEN SHE SMASHES HER FOREARM INTO HIS FACE REPEATEDLY WHICH CAUSES RONAN TO BACK INTO THE CORNER! And here comes Ayu with a full head of steam….THE RUNNING SPLASH IN THE CORNER ON RONAN! She follows that up with a snap mare before delivering a dropkick to the back of Ronan’s head! Ayu looks to be in complete control right now.
James Peters: Ayu looks to keep the momentum going as she runs to the corner and climbs up the top rope… while keeping an eye on Candice and Sierra at ringside….AND THEN AYU LEAPS OFF OF THE TOP ROPE – AND THEN DELIVERS A FROG SPLASH RIGHT ON TOP OF RONAN! And then Ayu hooks the leg for the cover!
OOOOOOONNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!
TTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOO!!!
Rich Russillo: And Ronan gets the shoulder up. And Ayu doesn’t waste any time in going back on the attack picking Ronan up off the mat… But Ronan fight back before pushing Ayu away from him, THEN GOES FOR A BIG BOOT! BUT AYU DUCKED IT AND RUNS OFF THE OPPOSITE ROPES, AND THEN TAKES RONAN DOWN WITH A SLINGBLADE!! Ayu is feeling fired up here as Ronan turns around to face her-
James Peters: Ayu with a kick to the midsection, but Ronan again tries to fight back by grabbing her by the throat! AND THEN RONAN LIFTS HER UP FOR A CHOKESLAM, BUT AYU ONCE AGAIN IS A STEP AHEAD WHO GRABS RONAN’S HEAD AND HAS A GUILLOTINE CHOKE APPLIED ON RONAN! Ronan looks to be panicking before…he drops down to a knee as Candice and Sierra try pounding the mat to motivate him to find a way out of this! Ronan is fading but he’s still not giving up without a fight as Ayu applies the maximum amount of pressure….Is Ronan about to tap out here?!
Rich Russillo: RONAN USES WHAT HE HAS LEFT AND USES HIS STRENGTH ADVANTAGE AND PICKS AYU UP….AND THEN RAMS HER INTO THE CORNER! Pure desperation there from Ronan but it worked, and now looks to gain control back as he hits several right hand hooks to the face of Ayu. Ronan now sits her on the top rope… what does he have in mind here?! Ronan goes up top with her and is going for a suplex…BUT AYU IS BLOCKING IT! RONAN IS STRUGGLING, AND NOW AYU AND HIM BEGIN TO EXCHANGE BLOWS WITH THE OTHER ON THE TOP! IT’S A BATTLE FOR CONTROL NOW!
Persephone: Ayu looks like she might have control here as Ronan is almost teetering on the top rope… AND THEN AYU GOES FOR A HURRICANRANA FROM THE TOP ROPE, BUT NO! RONAN USES HIS WEIGHT ADVANTAGE AND HOLDS HER, THEN PULLS HER BACK UP INTO A POWERBOMB POSITION – AND THEN DELIVERS AN AVALANCHE SITOUT POWERBOMB FROM THE TOP ROPE! AND THEN RONAN CRAWLS OVER AND THEN HOOKS THE LEG FOR THE COVER!!
OOOOONNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
TTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOO!!!
James Peters: And Ayu survives it by getting her shoulder up at the last second! Sierra and Candice are telling Ronan to not let up and to not give her any room to breathe. Ronan takes that to heart as he begins to stomp the life out of Ayu driving the foot into the chest of Ayu as she tries her best to cover up, though it’s not helping in the slightest. Ronan then poses in the ring with that grin on his face as the crowd rains down the boos on him.
Rich Russillo: Ronan turns his attention back to Ayu now looks to go for the finish rather early as he measures Ayu up as she stirs and turns around – AND HE PULLS HER IN FOR “DEATH-RO!!!!” BUT AYU LANDS ON HER FEET AND THAT CATCHES RONAN OFF GUARD…A ROUNDHOUSE KICK TO THE HEAD AS RONAN IS ON SPAGHETTI LEGS AND COULD BE IN SOME TROUBLE HERE…AND A STEP UP ENZIGURI FROM AYU AS RONAN DROPS DOWN TO BOTH KNEES NOT HAVING A CLUE WHERE HE IS! AYU STEPS BACK – A SUPERKICK TO THE FACE TAKES RONAN DOWN AS AYU FLIPS HIM OVER FOR THE COVER!!
OOOOOOONNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
TTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOO!!!
TTTTTTTHHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRREEEEE!!!
Rich Russillo: And Ronan just barely gets his shoulder up, and Ayu looks like a predator ready to STRIKE. Ayu backs up in the corner and is begging for Ronan to stand back up to perhaps try putting this match away…BUT LOOK!
Persephone: Sierra just swiped at Ayu’s foot while ref was tending to Ronan, and Ayu is not happy in the slightest as Sierra looks on in innocence as if she didn’t do anything. Meanwhile look out….RONAN RUNS UP BEHIND AYU AND HITS A FOREARM TO THE BACK OF THE HEAD, AND THEN ROLLS HER UP FROM BEHIND!! ROBAN LOOKS TO STEAL THIS THANKS TO THE DISTRACTION FROM SIERRA!!
OOOOONNNNNNEEEEEE!!!
TTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWOOOOOO!!!
James Peters: LOOK! RONAN GRABS THE ROPE FOR LEVERAGE!!
TTTTTTTHHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEE!!!!
Rich Russillo: BUT THE REFEREE SPOTS IT AND STOPS THE COUNT! And Ronan is absolutely furious about it as Candice on the outside is yelling at him to keep his focus on Ayu.
Ronan Malosi: (no mic) ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! DO YOUR JOB REF!
Referee: (no mic) You do your job and I’ll do mine!
Candice Blair: (no mic) RONAN, KEEP YOUR EYE ON AYU!
James Peters: Ronan isn’t really listening to Candice still arguing about the count….AND LOOK FROM BEHIND!! THIS IS WHY CANDICE WANTED HIM TO KEEP HIS EYE ON THE BALL BECAUSE NOW AYU ROLLS HIM UP FROM BEHIND!!! SHE’S GOT HIM!!
OOOOONNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
TTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOO!!!
TTTTTTTHHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRREEEE!!!!
Rich Russillo: DID SHE GET HIM?! The referee says no as it was two and three quarters. And then both competitors race to their feet and charge at one another – AND RONAN NEARLY DECAPITATES AYU WITH A CLOTHESLINE! Ronan buys himself a few seconds as he stumbles into the corner trying to catch his breath before measuring Ayu up, Ronan looks to put this match away right here…
James Peters: And Ronan grabs her arm looking to go for “Death-Ro” once but Ayu again refuses to let it happen as she delivers a step up knee strike across the bridge of the nose! AND OH NO! AYU WITH THE “SACRED ARROW”!!!! THE BLACK MASS KICK DROPS RONAN LIKE A SACK OF POTATOES! AND THEN AYU DROPS DOWN ON TOP OF RONAN FOR ANOTHER COVER, IS THIS GOING TO BE ENOUGH TO PUT RONAN AWAY?
OOOOONNNNNNEEEEEE!!!!
TTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWOOOOOO!!!
TTTTTTTHHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRREEEE!!!
Persephone: NO IT’S NOT AS RONAN THROWS HIS FOOT UNDER THE BOTTOM ROPE! Was that awareness or just flat out luck?
Rich Russillo: Wouldn’t shock me either way, but Ayu knows she has to keep the momentum going to put this away. She is stalking Ronan mow like a predator stalks its prey…AND THEN SHE SETS HIM UP FOR ETHREAL BLADE!!!!!” SHE’S GOING FOR HER CLAYMORE KICK AS CANDICE TRIES SCREAMING AT HIM TO GET HIM TO BE AWARE!….AND RONAN SIDESTEPPED IT BEFORE DELIVERING A BIG BOOT! Candice and Sierra yell at Ronan to finish Ayu off as he picks her up and goes for “Death-Ro” for a third time –
James Peters: AND AYU COUNTERS IT FOR A THIRD TIME LANDING ON HER FEET! AND LOOK OUT….”RYO NO IKARI”!!!! THE SUPERKICK DROPS RONAN! THAT WAS LITERALLY OUT OF NOWHERE AND SOUNDED LIKE A GUNSHOT, AND LOOK – AYU LEAPS OVER THE TOP ROPE AND TAKES OUT BOTH CANDICE AND SIERRA!!!!!!! AYU KNOWS THAT SHE WAS AT A DISADVANTAGE IN THE NUMBERS WITH THEM AT RINGSIDE, AND SHE QUICKLY SLIDES BACK IN THE RING AND STALKS RONAN FROM BEHIND, SHE IS LOOKING TO TAKE ADVANTAGE QUICKLY NOW THAT SIERRA AND CANDICE ARE OUT OF THE PICTURE AT THE MOMENT!
Rich Russillo: AND SHE LOCKS IN “ISEKAI NO MEGUMI!!!” AYU LOCKS IN HER DRAGON SLEEPER ON RONAN…AND RONAN IS IN DEEP TROUBLE AS HE IS PANICKING IN THE HOLD, AND HE LOOKS TO BE FADING AS AYU HAS IT LOCKED IN GOOD!! IS HE GOING TO TAP OUT HERE – YES HE DOES!! RONAN MALOSI TAPS OUT AS AYU PICKS UP THE HUGE VICTORY!!! WOW!!
(Ding! Ding! Ding!)
(The crowd cheers as Ayu Megumi rolls off of Ronan Malosi before getting back to his feet.)
Bella Braxton: HERE IS YOUR WINNER BY SUBMISSION…AYYYUUUUU –
James Peters: LOOK OUT! SIERRA AND CANDICE ARE BACK UP AND THEY ATTACK AYU FROM BEHIND!! Sierra is stomping on Ayu as Candice is helping Ronan up, and this isn’t even fair! Ayu Megumi just won the match, and she’s not even getting a chance to celebrate!
Rich Russillo: Candice helped Ronan back up, AND NOW ALL THREE OF THEM ARE STOMPING THE LIFE OUT OF AYU!! COME ON NOW! IT’S THREE ON ONE, THIS ISN’T EVEN FAIR!!!
(The crowd boos as the assault continues, but after a few seconds the boos turn into cheers as ARIA and Usagi Senshi are seen running down the ramp.)
James Peters: WAIT A MINUTE!!! IT’S ARIA AND USAGI SENSHI!!! USAGI AND ARIA SLIDE INTO THE RING BEFORE RUNNING DIRECTLY AT RONAN, TAKING HIM OUT WITH AN AMAZING DOUBLE DROPKICK!!!
Rich Russillo: AYU’S ICE ACES SISTERS ARE HERE FOR THE SAVE! ARIA AND USAGI ARE NOT HOLDING BACK AS THEY KNOCK SIERRA AND CANDICE DOWN WHO SLIDE OUT OF THE RING!
James Peters: Candice and Sierra retreat as the three of them try to get Ronan up to his feet to capitalize odd of that dropkick! What are they gonna do?
Persephone: BUT LOOK! SIERRA AND CANDICE AS A UNIT PULLS RONAN OUT OF THE RING SAVING HIM AND STAND HIS UNCONSCIOUS BODY UP AS THEY RETREAT UP THE RAMP!!
(The Ice Aces are seen standing together in the ring, staring directly at Ronan Malosi, Sierra Everett and Candice Blair as they stumble up the ramp. The Ice Aces are screaming at them, calling for them to get back in the ring as Voltage fades away from ringside.)
(A commercial break for the World Cup airs featuring shots of Sheridan Müller, TLA, Kassidy Heart, Xander Payne, Harley Lewis, Mary S. Atlas, and Usagi Senshi wearing the jerseys of Germany, Mexico, Australia, Canada, England, the USA, and Japan respectively.)
(The camera cuts backstage to Eden Sinclair in her office, leaning back on the desk, and watching her TV monitor, shaking her head in disgust as she watches Ayu and Usagi celebrate in the ring. Clearly, not wanting that to be the case tonight. Eden turns her head to see both Candice Blair and Sierra Everett entering her office, equally both annoyed and frustrated after the events which transpired tonight. Eden turns the monitor off with her remote, and gives complete attention to the two women, crossing her arms, as she’s not pleased with them tonight.)
Candice Blair: Eden, just give us a chance to explain ourselves. Me and Sierra can both see you’re not happy.
Eden Sinclair: Well, that’s an understatement.
Candice Blair: We see you’re upset, and understandably so, given what happened out there, and that’s why we were quick to get back here. Honestly, we owe you an apology.
Sierra Everett: Yeah, I’ll be the first to say I’m sorry, tonight was just all messed up, and I just want you to know it’ll- it’ll never happen again, alright?
Eden Sinclair: I’m gonna hold you to that, Sierra, both of you. Because let me remind you two, at Road to Redemption, you have a match with the Ice Aces. Better yet, you have a match with The Ice Aces under no disqualification. Do you realize how important this is for me? For us? For the brand? Ice Aces have been nothing but trouble for Voltage this entire season, and have set a horrible example all around.
Candice Blair: You’re telling me, from Usagi’s abusive behavior, and all their downright disrespectful behavior towards you.
Sierra Everett: Did you see last week, Eden? Them blaming you, them blaming us for their failures, really, those two need to look in the mirror, and accept they’re the problem.
Candice Blair: Usagi was the problem at Wicked Games, and their pure inability to learn has been the problem weekly, despite being given chance after chance after chance.
Eden Sinclair: Exactly, I’m glad to see you two have a handle on the situation, and hopefully realize Road to Redemption is a must win, especially for two Disney representatives like yourselves. Look, I’ll only say this once, because when the bell rings, and it’s time for your match, it’ll be the most important thing I want you to remember. At Road to Redemption, failure is not an option.
Sierra Everett and Candice Blair: We understand.
Sierra Everett: Like you said, a lot is riding on this, and I’d hate to disappoint after being given this opportunity to work alongside you, alongside Candice, and alongside Ronan, so I can get the opportunities I deserve on this brand, because Captain Charisma would rather make me jump through hoop after hoop after hoop.
Candice Blair: Speaking of opportunities, this is the textbook definition of one. Because at Road to Redemption, we’re fighting for more than just ourselves, we’re fighting for the brand, which is why we’ll be the ones to walk out of the match victorious, not Ayu, not Usagi. Us.
Eden Sinclair: Now, that’s the spirit, that’s what I like to hear.
Sierra Everett: If so, you’re gonna love this, because we’re not just promising victory at Road to Redemption, we’re promising that what happened out there won’t happen again.
Candice Blair: That’s right, Ice Aces better savor the moment, because they will not get the upper hand over us again.
Eden Sinclair: Again, I’ll hold you two to it.
(Eden forms a smirk on her face, loving the confidence from both Sierra and Candice, having 100% faith in them heading into Road to Redemption, but the smirk soon goes away as everyone turns to the doorway, seeing Ronan Malosi, who staggers into the room, clutching at his ribs. Ronan doubles over, coughing, and stands himself upright, continuing to stagger over to Eden, who just shakes her head while having her arms crossed, reminded there’s another man she isn’t happy with on this night, and that’s Ronan, who the crowd booed once making his presence known.)
Ronan Malosi: Did you see what just happened out there? You guys better be wary at Road to Redemption, because Ice Aces are walking around here with some sort of rabbit’s foot or something. That win was lucky, if anything, I’d go as far to say she cheated. I mean, come on… I’m Ronan Malosi, the Million Dollar Megastar, the locker room leader, who am I to be losing to Ayu Megumi of all people… Jesus, I can’t-
Eden Sinclair: Alright, Ronan, I’ve heard enough.
Ronan Malosi: As have I. These fans need to stop booing, and start cheering me as the modern day wrestling God I am.
(The crowd’s booing intensifies.)
Ronan Malosi: Qui-
(Ronan goes back to clutching his ribs while coughing, and Eden rolls her eyes.)
Eden Sinclair: No, Ronan, not that. I’ve just got done having a talk with the girls, and now I need to have a talk with you. Because you’re right, who are you to be losing to Ayu Megumi? You’re more than just Ronan Malosi, a million dollar megastar, a locker room leader, or whatever other nicknames you listed. Above all else, you’re a Disney representative, and out there, you just embarrassed us. That, that cannot happen again.
Ronan Malosi: And it won’t, alright? Like I said, she got lucky.
Eden Sinclair: Excuses, excuses. Ronan, the last thing I want from you is excuses. I want results, and lately, you’re not getting them. Need I remind you what happened last week? Because this isn’t the first time Ice Aces have made us look silly. They’re the reason you got pinned by TLA of all people, another man in the same boat as them, who’s been nothing but trouble, and setting a horrible example for everybody else. Along with the same guy who embarrassed you at Pain for Pride, and allowed his dog to use you as a human fire hydr-
Ronan Malosi: Alright, I get it.
Eden Sinclair: All I’m saying is, Ronan, you need to get your act together, because I’m giving the opportunities, the resources to elevate yourself higher on the card, and get back to the same glory you had at the start of the season, facing off against Minerva for her World Championship, yet you’re letting them slip through your fingertips. Last week, and now this week. I was thinking of putting you in the Extreme Enigma Memorial Match, but quite frankly, I just don’t see you walking out the winner with the way you’ve been carrying yourself in the ring. So I’m benching you for Road to Redemption and maybe beyond.
(Ronan carries a look of disdain on his face at hearing this, knowing things haven’t gone his way lately, and not wanting to be reminded of it. He certainly didn’t feel as if he should be punished for it. But following that, and remembering his loss to Ayu, Ronan’s frustration has reached an all time high, which is visible through the pure and utter look of disdain on his face.)
Ronan Malosi: Ya know what? Tonight, things didn’t go my way, and that sucks. Ayu, and her little girlfriend got lucky, so yeah, they get to have a laugh at my expense two weeks in a row. But I promise, once it’s all said and done, us three will be the only ones laughing. Because they’re not gonna get away with what happened this week, and they’re certainly not gonna get away with what happened last week, costing me a match against TLA, Theron, and Charlie. That’s three names bigger than they’ll ever be. Who do they think they are interfering in my business like that? I’ll show those two, don’t worry. I’ll earn your trust inside the ring again, Eden, and in the meantime, I’ll give you my full attention and make sure Candice and Sierra walk out of Road to Redemption with the win.
(Eden gives a glance across to all three, which the trio return.)
Eden Sinclair: So, we’re on the same page then?
Candice Blair: Sounds like it.
Eden Sinclair: Great, then repeat it with me. The Ice Aces cannot win at Road to Redemption.
Candice Blair, Sierra Everett, and Ronan Malosi: The Ice Aces cannot win at Road To Redemption.
Eden Sinclair: Perfect. Now, we’ve got one show left till Road to Redemption, and in the meantime, I wanna make sure you’re prepared, so let’s discuss a bit of strategy going into the match, seeing as it is No Disqualification.
Sierra Everett: Sounds good, Eden. In fact, I was just gonna recommend that. But you remember from a few weeks ago, I prefer to discuss my business without an… audience.
(Sierra Everett gestures to the camera man.)
Eden Sinclair: Ah, yes. Ronan, could you please take care of that for me?
(Ronan turns to the cameraman.)
Ronan Malosi: Alright, you know the deal, buddy. Out.
(Mirroring a couple weeks back when Sierra Everett joined what formerly was a trio, Ronan escorts the cameraman out of the office as he backpedals through the door, and Ronan shuts the door in his face, prompting the EAW audience to boo as a result, wanting to possibly eavesdrop what Ronan, Eden, Candice, and Sierra could have planned, but knowing them, they’re up to no good, especially after that ominous statement, making sure one another know Ice Aces absolutely cannot win at Road to Redemption. The camera zooms in on Eden Sinclair’s nameplate, which is on the door as it fades back to the ringside area for the next match.)
(The camera cuts to Bella Braxton in the ring.)
Bella Braxton: THE FOLLOWING CONTEST IS SCHEDULED FOR…ONE FALL!!
Crowd: ONE FALL!!
(“Down with the Sickness” by Disturbed plays, and Samael comes out, wearing his usual entrance gear as the arena is filled with dark and dimmed red lights. He’s very slow in heading to the ring, as the crowd don’t react much, almost having a trance put on them with the entrance of Samael, who sits on the top turnbuckle, staring at the stage area, awaiting for the arrival of Kylie Grace, who ‘Unbreakable’ by Fireflight plays out. Kylie receives a positive reaction from fans, and her tone is far different from Samael’s, waving toward and high fiving fans on her way to the ring.)
Bella Braxton: Introducing first! At a combined weight of 410 pounds…THE TEAM OF SAMAEL AND KYLIE GRACE!
James Peters: Polar opposites are Kylie Grace and Samael, but tonight, they’ll have to work together as a team.
Persephone: I feel they can effectively do so, and compliment each other quite nicely! 😀
Rich Russillo: With the power of Samael, and the speed of Kylie Grace, you might be right about that Persephone.
James Peters: Biggest struggle may be having to reel Samael in, knowing he can get a bit out of control at times.
(‘DESTINY’ by Saori Yoshida plays out ARIA to a positive reaction, similar to Kylie, and she poses on the stage area, and stays there afterward as TLA pulls up in his lowrider behind her as ‘DESTINY’ transitions into Ambitionz az a Ridah’ by Tupac. TLA steps out the lowrider, and after a fist bump, both competitors make their way towards the ring.)
Bella Braxton: And their opponents! At a combined weight of 320 pounds! THE TEAM OF TLA AND ARIA!
Rich Russillo: At Territorial Invasion, these two opposed one another, now? These two work with one another, and to steal a line from Persephone, these two can complement each other quite nicely in the ring.
James Peters: They’re both fast, they’re both hard hitting, and should do a good job at making Samael hard to get hold of them.
Rich Russillo: TLA didn’t do a great job at that earlier, and might want a bit of revenge.
(ARIA and Kylie stand ready in the ring as the ref signals for the bell.)
(DING! DING! DING!)
James Peters: The bell has rung, and it looks like it’ll be ARIA and Kylie starting things off for their respective teams. This crowd is electric, both fan favorites just about everywhere they go, and part of that is because they leave it all in the ring, which I’m sure they’ll do tonight. But for right now, both competitors are in the feeling out process, circling one another, and locking up in the center of the ring.
Rich Russillo: ARIA gets the early advantage, wringing the arm of Kylie, and bringing it behind her back for a hammerlock, which gets turnt to a side headlock takedown. ARIA has Kylie grounded early, but Grace uses those legs of hers to grab ARIA in a headscissors, effectively escaping the grounded side headlock. However, ARIA kicks out of it, and both competitors scramble back to their feet!
James Peters: Kylie rushes toward ARIA, and goes for a clothesline, but it gets ducked underneath, and ARIA rolls Grace into a school girl, except doesn’t hold on to it, rolling Kylie to a vertical base, and wrapping her arms around her waist, driving her back first into the corner!
**TAG!!**
Persephone: Tag made by TLA!
Rich Russillo: That’s the first one of this matchup, and ARIA leans Kylie up against the ropes while TLA runs off the opposite! Snapmare by ARIA, sending Kylie down to a seated position, and TLA CONNECTS WITH A RUNNING METEORA! Kylie goes down, but gets CAUGHT WITH A RUNNING SHOOTING STAR PRESS BY ARIA, WHO ROLLS OUT OF THE RING AFTERWARDS! AND TLA SPRINGS OFF THE MIDDLE ROPE FOR A LIONSAULT! COVER IS MADE, HOOKING THE LEG!
ONNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEE!!
TWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOO!!
James Peters: Only can muster a two as Kylie got the shoulder up! Notice how Samael is halfway through the ropes, almost rushing in to break up the pinfall, maybe even worse. But Kylie managed to kick out, keeping him at bay for now. TLA pulls Kylie back up, and tags out to ARIA, who enters the ring, and assists TLA with a double Irish whip to the ropes! Double back elbow! But the duo aren’t done yet as TLA lifts ARIA in the air for a 420 LEG DROP! BOTH LEGS DROPPING ACROSS THE TORSO OF KYLIE!
Persephone: Just to clarify, that’s because there’s four feet, and twenty toes shared between the two of them! 😅
Rich Russillo: Kylie is feeling the effects of that double team maneuver, but ARIA heads to the corner, watching Kylie as she begins to stir. Grace may not wanna turn around as ARIA builds momentum for J4A! OOH! Kylie side steps out of the way at the last minute, causing ARIA to get her boot up on the middle turnbuckle, stopping herself from colliding with the corner.
James Peters: ARIA turns around to see Kylie tag out to Samael…
**TAG!!**
James Peters: …Who slowly enters the ring, and realizing the size advantage, along with the strength advantage, ARIA rushes Samael before he can get all the way in, and pummels him with strikes to the back! But Samael is shrugging them off, getting all the way into the ring regardless, and bringing ARIA to the center where he shoves her back into the ropes! SHOULDER TACKLE BY SAMAEL KNOCKS HER DOWN! ARIA rushes to a knee, creating some space between herself and Samael.
Rich Russillo: Samael isn’t capitalizing, just staring down ARIA, and watching as she tags out to TLA, which might be a big mistake on his end.
**TAG!!**
James Peters: TLA enters the match for a second time, having gotten in briefly earlier. Still, Samael hasn’t moved, almost frozen like a statu- WAIT! SAMAEL RUSHES TLA, WHO DUCKS UNDERNEATH HIS CLOTHES LINE ATTEMPT, AND SAMAEL TURNS AROUND INTO A KICK TO THE MIDSECTION, FOLLOWED BY A KNIFE EDGE CHOP TO THE CHEST! TLA keeps the barrage going, alternating between kicks and chops, but Samael cuts him off, grabbing TLA by the throat with both hands, and sending him down to the canvas with a headbutt!
Persephone: The overwhelming strength of Samuel is on full display!
Rich Russillo: Actually, it’s Samae- speaking of, Samael runs off the ropes in front of TLA as he gets to a knee, BUT HE COUNTERS WITH A DROP TOE HOLD, FOLLOWED BY A LA MAGISTRAL CRADLE, BOTH SHOULDERS ON THE MAT!
ONNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!
TWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!
James Peters: KICKOUT! Samael drapes himself across the middle rope, getting his wits about him, having been caught with a flurry of offense by TLA, who gets an idea, RUNNING OFF THE OPPOSITE SET OF ROPES FOR 305! …CAUGHT!!! SAMAEL CAUGHT BOTH LEGS OF TLA, AND PULLS HIM THROUGH THE MIDDLE ROPE! TLA IS HANGING ON TO THE TOP ROPE FOR DEAR LIFE WITH BOTH HANDS, BUT SAMAEL YANKS HIM UPWARD, AND TLA HITS BACK FIRST ON THE CANVAS!
Rich Russillo: TLA sits up, clutching the back of his head, but gets lifted back to a vertical base, and slammed face first off the top turnbuckle! He is now where he doesn’t wanna be, and that’s in the opposing corner. Samael delivers repeated punches to the abdomen of TLA. The referee intervenes, telling Samael he needs to let up before the five count.
**TAG!!**
James Peters: Tag is made! Kylie is in, and walks to the center of the ring. Samael grabs her wrist, AND WHIPS HER HARD AS HE CAN INTO TLA FOR AN ASSISTED CORNER DROPKICK! TLA makes it a few steps before collapsing to the canvas, and Kylie makes the cover!
ONNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEE!!
TWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOO!!
Rich Russillo: KICKOUT!
Persephone: That was scary, Kylie had to almost tag herself in, in order to keep Samael in check.
Rich Russillo: The man has a mean streak a mile wide, and that’s what you’re gonna need going up against an EAW Hall of Famer like TLA.
James Peters: Kylie stands TLA up, and leans him against the ropes for an Irish whip! Kylie charges at TLA, who side steps whatever she had planned, sending her out through the middle rope, or so he thought as Kylie catches herself! TLA turns around into an apron roundhouse kick, staggering him back a bit. Kylie goes to re-enter the ring, BUT TLA CATCHES HER WITH A PENALTY KICK TO THE FACE! TLA drops to all fours, and Kylie crumbles to the canvas.
Rich Russillo: TLA begins crawling to his corner, but Kylie gets to all fours herself, clutching at her mouth with one hand, but reaching out to TLA’s ankle with another, but it’s no use as he makes the tag out to ARIA anyways!
**TAG!!**
Rich Russillo: Grace gets to her feet, and runs at ARIA, who knocks her down with a running back elbow! Kylie is quickly back to her feet again, getting taken down with another running back elbow! Kylie rushes to her feet a third time, and ARIA tries Irish whipping her towards the ropes, but she reverses, sending ARIA to the ropes instead!
James Peters: ARIA HANDSPRINGS OFF THE ROPES FOR A BACK ELBOW INTO KYLIE, AND GETS TO HER FEET, RUNNING TOWARD SAMAEL TO KNOCK HIM OFF THE APRON WITH A SINGLE LEG DROPKICK! Notice how Samael is still on his feet however, seemingly just stunned by that kick as he leans over our announce table.
Persephone: :lupe: I’m not sure if I like him being this close.
Rich Russillo: ARIA picks herself up in the corner, and ARIA charges- running right into a big boot! ARIA gets to the middle rope- BUT LEAPS OVER A CHARGING KYLIE, WHO STOPS HERSELF FROM COLLIDING STERNUM FIRST INTO THE CORNER! ARIA lands on her feet, and Kylie spins around with a swing and a miss as ARIA ducks underneath!
James Peters: DISCUS ELBOW CONNECTS, PLACING KYLIE ON WOBBLY LEGS, AND ARIA SENDS HER OUT THROUGH THE MIDDLE ROPE! ARIA watches as Kylie slowly gets to her feet ringside, and goes to run off the opposite ropes for a suicide dive of sorts- BUT SAMAEL! Samael hopped up on the apron before ARIA could bounce off the ropes, stopping her right in her tracks, and she turns around- SHE TURNS AROUND INTO A SUPERMAN PUNCH BY KYLIE, WHO SLIDE BACK INTO THE RING!
Rich Russillo: POWER PUNCH MIGHT’VE JUST SEALED THE DEAL AS KYLIE RUSHES INTO THE COVER, HOOKING THE LEG DEEP!
ONNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEE!!
TWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOO!!
THHHHHHHRRRRRRRR-
Rich Russillo: ALMOST A THREE COUNT! ARIA got distracted by Samael, taking her eye off the ball for a split second, and that’s what can happen in a match like this. Keep your head on a swivel, which I’m sure ARIA knows now. Kylie rolls over to her corner, tagging out to Samael.
**TAG!!**
James Peters: ARIA favors her jaw on the canvas, but gets brought back to her feet by Samael, who biels her into the corner, showing off his strength against a smaller opponent. RUNNING SPLASH IN THE CORNER BY SAMAEL, AND ARIA COLLAPSES SUPINE! Samael grabs her by the wrist, and with ease, drags her into his corner with one hand, tagging out to Kylie.
**TAG!!**
Rich Russillo: Samael holds a seated ARIA in place for a kick right to the sternum by Kylie! ARIA drapes herself across the middle rope, trying to catch her breathe, BUT KYLIE RUNS OFF THE OPPOSITE SET OF ROPES, CRASHING INTO HER WITH A BACK ELBOW RIGHT BETWEEN THE SHOULDER BLADES!
James Peters: ARIA writhes on the canvas in pain as Kylie tags out to Samael!
**TAG!!**
James Peters: ARIA tries crawling for TLA, but Samael stops her from doing so with a boot to the side of her skull! ARIA moves to a seated position, feeling the effects of that boot, and Samael grabs her head, and begins to twist it sideways. ARIA is in a bad way right now, on the receiving end of vicious offense by Samael.
Rich Russillo: ARIA powers back to her feet, and loosens his grip with a shot to the rib cage, breaking it with a JAWBREAKER! Samael is stunned, but quickly recovers, grabbing ARIA by the throat with one hand, and pushing her back into his corner.
**TAG!!**
Persephone: Uh-oh, tag out to Kylie!
James Peters: URANAGE SLAM BY SAMAEL, AND KYLIE SLINGSHOTS OVER THE TOP ROPE WITH A LEG DROP ACROSS THE THROAT! KYLIE HOOKS THE LEG!
ONNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!
TWWWWWWWWOOOOOO-
Rich Russillo: A kickout at one! Kylie brings ARIA back to her feet, and goes for a right hand, but it gets blocked, and ARIA fires with two right hands of her own! Irish whip to the ropes- no! Kylie reverses, sending ARIA to the ropes, and slips behind her for a SLEEPER HOLD! Kylie isn’t done, wrapping her legs around the waist of ARIA, placing all her body weight on her back.
James Peters: ARIA drops to a knee, possibly fadi- I standing corrected as ARIA powers back to a vertical base, still making steps toward TLA on the apron, reaching out for the tag! Kylie realizes this plan isn’t working, and switching things up, hopping off the back of ARIA, WHO TAKES THE OPPORTUNITY TO BACK SUPLEX KYLIE DOWN TO THE CANVAS!
Rich Russillo: Kylie writhes in pain while ARIA gets to all fours. Kylie quickly tags out to Samael!
**TAG!!**
Rich Russillo: ARIA gets to both feet right as Samael enters the ring, and HE KNOCKS TLA OFF THE APRON WITH A RUNNING FOREARM! Samael saw ARIA wanted the tag, and couldn’t let that happen. Samael spins around, wanting to inflict damage on ARIA, who he remembers is the legal competitor, BUT SHE CATCHES HIM WITH A FLURRY OF KNIFE EDGE CHOPS ACROSS THE CHEST!
James Peters: Samael is reeling as ARIA runs off the ropes in front of him- CAUGHT! ARIA GOT CAUGHT IN A CHOKEHOLD BY SAMAEL, AND HE LIFTS HER UP HIGH IN THE AIR FOR A CHOKESLAM! ARIA IS SPRAWLED ON THE CANVAS, AND SAMAEL HOOKS THE LEG!
ONNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEE!!
TWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOO!!
THHHHHHH-
Rich Russillo: TLA SAVES THE MATCHUP, SLIDING INTO THE RING WITH A STOMP TO SAMAEL’S BACK! Samael jolts up to both knees, staring TLA down as he exits to the apron.
Persephone: Boy, am I glad TLA was there to stop this match from ending!
James Peters: Samael stands ARIA back up, and places her in his corner. Right hand attempt by Samael, but ARIA blocks it, and battles back, fighting out of the corner with forearm strikes to the face of Samael! ARIA goes for a clothesline, but it’s ducked underneath, and Samael lifts her up for a back suplex it seems. HOWEVER, ARIA BACKFLIPS OUT OF IT, LANDING ON HER FEET, AND SAMAEL SPINS AROUND INTO A SUPERKICK!
Rich Russillo: The big man can barely stand, and ARIA spins around, knocking Kylie off the apron with a running forearm! ARIA TRIES RUNNING PAST SAMAEL, SO SHE CAN TAG OUT TO TLA- BUT SAMAEL SLIPS BEHIND HER FOR A REAR WAISTLOCK, KEEPING A FIRM HOLD OVER ARIA, STOPPING HER FROM GETTING TO HER PARTNER!
James Peters: Wait, both competitors reach out far as they can, and… THEY MAKE THE TAG, ALBEIT BARELY!
**TAG!!**
James Peters: SAMAEL RELEASES ARIA, WHO ROLLS OUT UNDERNEATH THE BOTTOM ROPE AFTER COLLAPSING TO ALL FOURS! TLA SPRINGS OFF THE TOP ROPE FOR A CROSSBODY! BOTH COMPETITORS SCRAMBLE BACK TO THEIR FEET, AND SAMAEL WHIPS TLA OFF THE ROPES FOR A CLOTHESLI- NO! TLA DUCKS UNDERNEATH IT! SAMAEL TRIES TAKING HIM DOWN WITH A BACK ELBOW, BUT STILL CANT HIT IT AS TLA DUCKS UNDERNEATH IT A SECOND TIME!
Rich Russillo: HURRICANRANA BY TLA! Again, both competitors scramble back to their feet, Samael managing to shrug off the hurricanrana, gritting through the pain. TLA WITH A KICK TO THE MIDSECTION, AND TRIES GETTING SAMAEL UP FOR A SUPLEX! BUT SAMAEL HOLDS HIS WEIGHT DOWN, EFFECTIVELY BLOCKING TLA’S ATTEMPT, AND LIFTS HIM UP FOR A SUPLEX!
James Peters: TLA SLIPS OUT BEHIND SAMAEL, WHO SPINS AROUND INTO ANOTHER KICK TO THE MIDSECTION! MEXICAN DESTROY- NO! SAMAEL BACK BODY DROPS TLA OVERHEAD! BUT THE LATIN ASSASSIN LANDS ON HIS FEET, AND SAMAEL STAGGERS BACK INTO A ZIG ZAG! COVER IS MADE!
ONNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEE!!
TWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOO!!
THHH-
Rich Russillo: SHOULDER UP! TLA steps out to the apron, and tries climbing to the top turnbuckle, but gets his ankle grabbed onto by Kylie Grace, who’s attempting to save her partner! TLA kicks her away, and attempts to plant Kylie on the apron with a Mexican Destroyer!
James Peters: Kylie shoves him away, AND SAMAEL BARRELS INTO TLA WITH A BIG BOOT TO THE SIDE OF HIS FACE, KNOCKING HIM OFF THE APRON! TLA managed to see it coming out of the corner of his eye, getting his hand up slightly, which might be the only thing saving him from being completely out right now. Samael heads to the outside, and picks TLA up off the ground, attempting to send him face first into the ringpost! BUT TLA COUNTERS LAST MINUTE, SENDING SAMAEL INSTEAD! KYLIE GETS GRABBED, AND SENT INTO THE BARRICADE BACK FIRST!
Persephone: The sheer brutality! 🫣
Rich Russillo: Samael gets rolled into the ring by TLA, who climbs to the top rope, resuming what he had planned earlier before Kylie interrupted. Samael gets to his feet, AND TLA DIVES OFF! HOWEVER, HES CAUGHT IN MID AIR WITH A CHOKESLAM! That seems to have taken a lot out of both competitors, including Samael, who climbs over towards the ropes.
James Peters: Samael pulls himself to a knee, using the ropes, opting to not instantly capitalize off the chokeslam. Kylie gets back on the apron, reaching out for Samael to tag. Meanwhile, TLA tags out ARIA on the apron!
**TAG!!**
Rich Russillo: Both TLA and Kylie Grace are now legal! Kylie charges at TLA on the apron, who springboards over her, landing on his feet! Again, Kylie runs full steam ahead at TLA, who side steps, sending her out through the middle rope! Samael checks on Kylie, bringing her back to a vertical base, completely unbeknownst to both TLA and ARIA, who slides back in the ring!
James Peters: DOUBLE SUICIDE DIVE ONTO SAMAEL AND KYLIE! ARIA wiped herself out there, but TLA is back to his feet, rolling Kylie back into the ring. TLA slides in after her, but Grace gets to her feet as he does! POWER PUNCH BY KYL- NO! TLA TRAPS THE ARM FOR THE CARTEL KICK, COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE PELE KICK! TLA MAKES THE COVER!
ONNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEE!!
TWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOO!!
THHHHHHRRRRRREEEEE-
Rich Russillo: KYLIE GRACE KICKS OUT! TLA gets to his feet, and signals the beginning of the end, picking a prone Kylie Grace in position for a Mexican Destroyer. BUT SHE DOUBLE LEGS HIM DOWN TO THE CANVAS FOR A JUMPING DOUBLE FOOT STOMP TO THE CHEST!
Persephone: Ouch! Both her feet just dug into TLA like knives!
James Peters: TLA gets to his feet, clutching at his chest, and gets grabbed in a front facelock by Kylie, could she be going for a DDT of sorts? COUNTER! TLA COUNTERS WITH A NORTHERN LIGHTS SUPLEX, BRIDGING IT FOR A COVER!
ONNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEE!!
TWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOO!!
Rich Russillo: SAMAEL BREAKS THINGS UP WITH A STOMP TO THE TLA’S GUT! BUT ARIA ENTERS THE RING, PEPPERING SAMAEL WITH A FLURRY OF FOREARMS! HOWEVER, SAMAEL GRABS HER BY THE THROAT, AND SENDS HER UP AND OVER THE TOP ROPE! Samael looks to the outside, surveying the damage as ARIA writhes in pain, holding her back.
James Peters: FROM BEHIND! TLA DUMPS SAMAEL OVER THE TOP ROPE! KYLIE! KYLIE TAKES ADVANTAGE WITH A BACKSTABBER, AND TRANSITIONS INTO CRY ABOUT IT! THE CROSSFACE IS LOCKED IN, WILL TLA TAP?!
Rich Russillo: NOT YET AS HE CRAWLS TO THE ROPES, REFUSING TO GIVE UP THAT EASY, AND MANAGES TO WRAP HIS ARM AROUND THE BOTTOM ONE, FORCING KYLIE TO RELEASE!
James Peters: Kylie rolls off of TLA, exhausted from this match. But begins to stir, getting to a knee.
**TAG!!**
James Peters: Tag! ARIA got on the apron, and made a tag out to TLA, unbeknownst to Kylie Grace. ARIA drops to a knee, favoring her ribs, and getting her wits about her. Meanwhile, TLA pulls himself up in the corner. KYLIE RUNS IN- BUT TLA SIDE STEPS, AND ARIA CATCHES KYLIE WITH A ROPE-ASSISTED ENZIGURI AS SHE COLLIDED WITH THE CORNER! TLA BASEBALL SLIDES INTO SAMAEL AS HE TRIES GETTING BACK INTO THE RING, AND SPRINGBOARDS OFF THE MIDDLE ROPE WITH A MOONSAULT, TAKING BOTH OF THEM OUT RINGSIDE!
Persephone: Impressive by TLA, despite being so deep into this match!
Rich Russillo: Kylie is on wobbly legs, and spins around, clutching at her nose area. ARIA SLINGSHOTS HERSELF OVER THE TOP ROPE FOR A ZIRICON CUTTER! KYLIE IS DOWN, AND ARIA STEPS OVER TO CLIMB TO THE TOP ROPE FOR 2TF! SPIRAL TAP, FOLLOWED BY A HOOK OF THE LEG!
ONNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEE!!
TWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOO!!
THHHHHHHRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEE!!
(DING! DING! DING!)
Bella Braxton: HERES YOUR WINNERS… THE TEAM OF TLA AND ARIA!
(‘DESTINY’ by Saori Yoshida plays as ARIA rises off the canvas to have her hand raised in victory by the referee, soon by TLA, who rolls in the ring, so he can celebrate with his partner, the duo receiving a loud ovation from fans.)
James Peters: ARIA didn’t just win through an array of impressive moves, she won through outsmarting Kylie a bit, tagging out to TLA.
Persephone: If Kylie had known, she probably could’ve avoided that mistake.
Rich Russillo: True. But when it comes to being a team, tonight, TLA and ARIA were better in that aspect, building momentum towards Road to Redemption.
(On the outside, Samael sits up, and makes a throat slashing motion towards TLA, who stares him down in the ring.)
James Peters: :lupe: Obviously, someone isn’t too happy with the result.
Persephone: I’d rather be on Samael’s good side than bad.
Rich Russillo: Those two will be seeing each other in the Elimination Chamber, and after what we saw earlier tonight, I’d be a bit worried if I was TLA.
(The camera cuts elsewhere off the shot of both TLA and Samael staring at one another, TLA keeping his guard up.)
(Commercial break for Figs starring Dr. Bethany Blue wearing fan favorite Dusty Blue, which is back after three years for a limited time! Figs are ridiculously comfortable scrubs for really awesome humans.)
(Sunday Night Voltage opens up to show a video package. On a podium in a pitch black room, the Specialists Championship is seen rotating around, glimmering in the lights while it’s showcased in all its beauty. In the background, snippets of moments in EAW history regarding the title are faintly heard, before the voice of EAW Network Host Molly Waters is heard breaking through to start.)
Molly Waters: The Specialists Championship Elimination Chamber, held in 2016, 2018, 2019, and 2020 as part of the Road To Redemption marquee event. A marquee matchtype alongside the three respective World Championship Chamber matches, there is an immense level of prestige that comes with it, especially when you look back at the history of such a title like the Specialists Championship. How it either marked the start of historic Championship reigns…
(The scene then transitions over to show the first Specialists Chamber, hosted at Road To Redemption 2016. Brody Sparks walked into the match amongst five others, and found herself in the final two. She is seen up on the Chamber pod, as she sends both her and her opponent plummeting down to the ground with an Avalanche Sit-Out Facebuster, a modified version of her ‘Sparks Fly’ finisher. She would then get the pin and win the Specialists Championship, which would be her first title in EAW. Brody would then go on to become the longest reigning Specialists Champion at the time.)
(The camera then transitions over to the closing moments of the Road To Redemption 2018 Specialists Chamber. Andrea Valentine is shown at the tailend of the match tapping out her opponent, having a chain wrapped around her throat, which would win her the Specialists Championship. It would be the first of two reigns that she’d have with the title, with the second tying Brody’s as the longest reigning at 190 days.)
Molly Waters: … or even a benchmark for major title defenses.
(On cue, the camera transitions overt to a recap of the 2019 Road To Redemption Specialists Chamber. Which was where Darcy May Morgan, in the infantry of her reign as Champ, would defend her title. When it came down to the final two, Darcy would use her signature pink razor whip to choke out her opponent, tapping her out and retaining her title. Darcy would then go on to have a 176 day reign with the title.)
(It then goes to the 2020 Road To Redemption Specialists Chamber, with Kasey Kaos walking in as the defending Champion against five other female Elitists. Harlow Reichert is close to coming out the victor, but before that can happen Andrea Valentine sneaks into the match and takes her out with her ‘Atomic Blonde’ finishing move. Andrea would then drag Kasey over Harlow’s body, allowing her the opportunity to retain her title.)
Molly Waters: There’s no doubt in my mind that this is the match that female Elitists all throughout Dynasty, Showdown, and Voltage want to be in whenever it comes around. So it’s only fitting that on such a milestone event like Road To Redemption 2022, the Specialists Chamber makes its return. But, what’s been made very apparent considering the recent changes here in Elite Answers Wrestling, just like the rest of the Elimination Chamber events, things are going to be different. This year with us under the Disney partnership there will be no designated weapons for each Elitist in the match, but I’m of the firm belief that despite that, the Chamber will still be a huge deal and very exciting because of the Elitists that will be participating in it, which is what we will be running down right now.
(The Sunday Night Voltage logo is seen flashing across the screen with shots of Kylie Grace being shown. It shows her in the ring facing off against some of Voltage’s toughest competition, and highlighting the struggles that she’s had to go through this Season and how she’s managed to fight through all of them to reach the point that she’s at.)
Molly Waters: Kylie Grace signed with EAW at the tail end of Season 15, making her debut for the company the following Season after being drafted to the Sunday Night Voltage brand. Although still being considered relatively new, she has grown immensely since her arrival and her impact in such a short time is something that hasn’t gone unnoticed.
(It goes to show clips of Kylie upon making her arrival to Voltage, including when Eden Sinclair belittled her for her unintentionally infamous line toward Usagi Senshi in one of her matches, using her power in a cruel and sadistic way. Despite feeling like she was in the wrong as well, she would ultimately take a stand for the greater good and align herself alongside Samael, someone who she had grown a liking to through his many personalities, with TLA to fight for his career against the Ice Aces at Territorial Invasion.)
Molly Waters: It was clear from the beginning that Kylie was something different, someone that could change the game and become the future of this company for years to come. Her kind and compassionate heart along with her intuitive need to look out for others set her apart from the rest and showed us a side of professional wrestling that we rarely saw, fighting from the heart with her dreams and aspirations as fuel. There is nobody like Kylie Grace, and it was only a matter of time before this California girl got her huge break.
(The scene then transitions over to an intense showing of Wicked Games, specifically the first of two Specialists Chamber contendership matches. Kylie stepped into the match against Haruka Kashimashi and Halsey Neel, with the stipulation chosen for the match being Falls Count Anywhere, with pinfalls and submissions being able to happen anywhere around the arena with no disqualifications. Moments would be shown from the match, with all three of these women laying it all on the line to stamp their ticket for Road To Redemption, but what was truly highlighted was the finish of the match. Haruka had just nailed her finisher on Kylie, but just in time it was Halsey who came back into this match to break up the pin. Halsey would attempt her finisher as well on Haruka, but she managed to escape out of it, before Haruka connects with yet another finisher. This time it was Kylie that managed to break it up, before throwing Haruka out of the ring and taking the pin for herself, allowing herself to get a momentous victory.)
Molly Waters: Which was true at Wicked Games, when she defeated two other Elitists to secure herself an opportunity to win the Specialists Championship at Road To Redemption. Now with the world behind her and her motivation as invigorated as ever, I wouldn’t be surprised if Halsey shocked the world and won her first Championship to end off 2022. The skies the limit for her, and with Road To Redemption inching closer and closer, she looks to beat five other Elitists and start a new chapter for her career.
(It then goes to another Voltage Elitist, this time in the form of the Ice Aces’ ARIA. She would make her debut early into Season 15 on the Showdown brand, and start off strong heading into 2022. She would win a Unique Opportunity match which she would use on the Specialists Championship, and although she would come up short at King of Elite against the Champion at the time Harper Lee, there was no doubt that she set a precedent for what was to come in her career. One of the highlights would be when she visited the Voltage brand for Wicked Games 2022, having an emotional match against Alex Myers with Jay Jerry Johnson in the match as well, but ultimately it was Alex that won over the two of them. A pivotal point in her career would be when she joined the Ice Aces, Usagi Senshi and Ayu Megumi, as the third member, putting herself with two teammates who would stand by her side for the months that followed. After a Pain For Pride defeat, she would then head over to the Voltage brand along with the rest of the Ice Aces, with highlights being the Ice Aces match against Soul Food Sunday at Rise of The Resistance, coupled with their aforementioned match against Team TLA at Territorial Invasion 2022.)
Molly Waters: It’s only fitting that we move onto another Voltage member in ARIA, who just like Kylie has a compassionate side to herself that makes her a fan favorite amongst the EAW faithful. Alongside the Ice Aces she has found herself a staple of the Voltage brand, but ultimately the changing of the guard, more specifically the hiring of Eden Sinclair, would find themselves having a rocky road in the months to come. Despite playing into their games, it wasn’t long before the Ice Aces revolted, and ARIA began to come to prominence as the voice of reason amongst herself, Ayu, and Usagi, showing a calm and level headed spirit even in the eyes of such an emotional conflict amongst themselves and the higher up.
(The shot would then go to the second Specialists Chamber contendership match, with all three Ice Aces by order of Eden Sinclair going up against one another in a Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match. In what was already a tough situation for the three of them, it didn’t help that the recently returned Candice Blair, who found herself siding with Eden, was instated as the Special Guest Referee for the affair. A recap of the match is shown, with it being broken up by Candice’s meddling, messing around with the three of them, specifically Usagi. In the end it’s Usagi that snaps and goes after Candice, but Candice pulls Ayu in the way of the attack, taking her out. With Usagi being distracted, shocked by what had inadvertently happened, Candice would take her out with an ‘Almost There’ Discus Clothesline. With that happening, ARIA would climb up the ladder, oblivious to what was happening, before unhooking the Road To Redemption logo and reserving her spot in the Chamber match at Road To Redemption.)
Molly Waters: Just like at the beginning of her career, ARIA would climb the ladder and find herself with yet another unique opportunity in her possession. Just like Kylie before her earlier in the show, she would place herself into the Specialists Chamber match… and of course into the scope of three female Elitists in the process.
(Quick shots would be shown of the Ice Aces and The Queen Bees meeting, with ARIA invading Dynasty to cost them a match against Ruler, Joso, and Milli Banks. It was then that the Ice Aces would have a long awaited match against Serenity’s trio, ultimately finding themselves coming short in the process.)
Molly Waters: It has been quite the rough road for the Chandler native, but with every setback she finds herself rebounding better than ever. We’ve seen some stellar moments come out of her throughout her career, but will this be the one? Will Road To Redemption truly become ARIA’s moment, and will we see her raise the Championship that she’s fought so long for high in the air? That… is something that we’ll just have to find out.
(The Saturday Night Showdown logo is then seen flashing across the screen, with shots being shown of Mary S. Atlas in action on the brand against a variety of competition. Her early days are shown when she debuted on the Dynasty brand, where she would find herself partnered up with Voltage’s Holly Arrow in a team that most would remember as Most Wanted Arrow. They would make an impact beating out former Unified Tag Team Champions The Realm at Reckless Wiring 2021, but of course that would come to an end when Holly would betray her at Pain For Pride XIV in the 24/7 Battle Royale match. She would start Season 15 on the Voltage brand, where she would unfortunately suffer a number of defeats on marquee shows, but each and every time dust herself off and continue to persevere, showing grit like no other in the face of adversity. Heading into Season 16 she would have a place on Showdown, where she truly came into her own, facing big time competitors such as former Universal Women’s Champion Harper Lee to name one.)
Molly Waters: Moving onto the Showdown brand we have a woman who knows her way around Elite Answers Wrestling, having been here for quite some time. Mary S. Atlas has never had it easy in this company, but with that opposition comes qualities that shine through amongst all else. Her continued perseverance and never-say-die attitude makes her someone that any brand would want, and especially heading into Season 16 she has been someone that has stepped up to the plate and made remarkable strides to keep herself going.
(It would then go to the Showdown Supershow, Dead Men Tell No Tales, with Mary in a ladder match against Komatsu Ogawa, Lucas Johnson, and Harley Lewis with a Unique Opportunity on the line. With The Triangle of Terror in full force, it was clear that Mary was at a 3-on-1 disadvantage against them, but when it came down to it, it was none other than Hunnid Honcho who would interfere to help even the odds. Mary would then climb the ladder, and retrieve the briefcase, holding a Unique Opportunity which would then be revealed to be an entry into the Specialists Chamber at Road To Redemption.)
Molly Waters: Hard work truly does not go to waste here in Elite Answers Wrestling, and Mary S. Atlas is a prime example of that. Because now she finds herself with the opportunity of a lifetime, the chance to call herself a Specialists Champion amongst so many other greats. With her hard work and determination, she fits right into the fray, and I know she’ll be going out of her way to do everything and anything she can to declare herself the victor in two weeks time.
(The scene then moves onto showing Lexi, and various clips of her performances in the ring. The former Alexis Chambers started her EAW career with a bang, fighting for the Universal Women’s Championship at Under Siege 2020 with the defending Champion Raven Roberts and Harper Lee. She would then find herself entangled with one Jake Smith, who being the sadistic and cruel human being he was at the time, would pit both her and Dr. Bethany Blue up in a love triangle, leading to an embarrassing mud bath match at Pain For Pride XIII. Thankfully, his schemes were exposed, and Bethany and Lexi found themselves in love. Turning a new leaf Season 14 was all about building her stock alongside Bethany as The Maidens of Malpractice, but she would end up taking an extensive leave at that year’s Pain For Pride. Midway through Season 15 she would make her return, with a new name and a new attitude, and since then she has made herself known on the Showdown brand, heading into Season 16 especially.)
Molly Waters: Sharing the same struggles as Mary, Lexi is someone who also has not had it easy in the Land of Elite. Despite sharing a last name with former EAW World Champion Terry Chambers, she has never liked being *just* associated with him, and has gone out of her way to shed that moniker of just being the ‘sister’ and make a name for herself especially in this phase of her career. Finding herself part of the Showdown brand for most of her career, she’s a blue brand regular who won’t settle for anything less than satisfactory, and is willing to do anything if it means getting ahead.
(Shots are shown of the Season 16 that Lexi has had so far, with her getting a number of victories under her belt especially in marquee situations. Ultimately it leads to her, under the Kennedy Street regime, being called to a meeting with the new Showdown General Manager alongside the aforementioned Mary S. Atlas. It’s there where Kennedy reveals Mary’s Unique Opportunity, along with granting Lexi an opportunity to participate in the Specialists Chamber at Road To Redemption.)
Molly Waters: Amidst getting the biggest opportunity that she’s gotten in some time, just like many others also participating in this match, this is Lexi’s big break. She has the chance to do everything that she’s promised by fighting through the competition and winning, and there’s no saying what will happen, but I won’t take it out of the picture that we see a new Specialists Champion in the form of Lexi once Road To Redemption is said and done.
(And of course, the Friday Night Dynasty logo flashes across the screen with Milli Banks coming into the forefront, showcasing her talents and most importantly everything that she’s done this Season. She made her big time debut beating a fellow bright young Elitist in Caroline, and since then has been simply unable to take her foot off the gas pedal. A moment shown as well alongside that was at Territorial Invasion 2022 when she got a huge victory over Hunnid Honcho and Kenn Kenn in Dynasty’s favor in a Brand Warfare triple threat.)
Molly Waters: Moving onto the red brand we also have the last of the challengers, and I’ll tell you right now that Milli Banks is not someone to sleep on. It’s a given that she’s walking into this match with not as much experience as quite a few, but she has improved in leaps and strides and has truly made her way to the front of the line when it comes to the Specialists Championship division.
(Courtesy of her Territorial Invasion victory, Tyrone Montgomery grants Milli an opportunity to fight for the Specialists Championship, which shots are shown off from Justified Reckoning with the Champion Serenity Valdez putting her title on the line against her. Ultimately, Sierra Bradford and Mei Sasaki would work against her, costing her the match and the title. An irate Milli would demand a rematch, which is what she got after qualifying for the Specialists Chamber against Mei on Dynasty. Another notable moment is also shown when her team of herself, Ruler, and Joso beat the three of them in tag team action, of course courtesy of an ARIA interference.)
Molly Waters: Now more hungry than ever, Milli is going to make sure that what happened at Justified Reckoning doesn’t repeat itself, with the full intention of walking out of Road To Redemption as the new Specialists Champion. Especially with what she’s shown this Season, a clam like that is not all farfetched. When the bell has rung and the match is over, we could see Milli Banks do what she’s intended all along, and that’s walk out as the new Specialists Champion…
Molly Waters: ESPECIALLY at the expense of the Champion, which, speaking of…
(The entire mood of the video package changes, with a film reel of moments beginning to show dating back to the midway point of Season 15. A rookie Serenity Valdez would find herself getting the biggest opportunity possible especially that early into her career, participating in the Universal Women’s Championship Extreme Elimination Chamber at Road To Redemption 2021.Although coming up short, it set a precedent for what was to come, and it was that the future of ‘La Reina’ was bright, and it was only going to be a matter of time before she got what she desired. A cinematic is shown of Pain For Pride XV that year, with what was a culmination of a feud that lasted a good chunk of the Season, with the Specialists Champion Ximena Velasquez defending her Championship against Serenity. To the shock of many, at the end of the day it was Serenity who walked out of Allegiant Stadium as the new Champion.)
Molly Waters: You cannot define 2022 without mentioning the rise to fame that Serenity Valdez has had since her debut. She is someone who has made a claim from the very beginning, making it very clear her intentions of being the very best, and stuck to it, pushing herself away from the rest of the fray and building herself up to the point where she is in the makings of becoming a transcendental Elitist in EAW. The Specialists Championship only proved that, and she has shown that this is *her* title and made people face the bitter reality that she is going to be holding it for a very long time.
(Heading into Season 16 a number of highlights are shown from Serenity’s run so far as Champion. It lists her challengers such as Diamond Dixon, who she tapped out at Poor Unfortunate Souls to gain her first defense, Then heading into the aforementioned defense against Milli Banks at Justified Reckoning, where Sierra and Mei would interfere leading into the formation of The Queen Bees. Shots are then shown of their domination as they wreck havoc on the Dynasty brand, and set their sights on Road To Redemption and how they all plan to leave it respectively holding Championships.)
Molly Waters: But that’s taking into consideration the Specialists Chamber, and how this match will be huge heading into Road To Redemption. There is no doubt in my mind that Serenity Valdez will be walking into Beijing, China, with the biggest test for her Specialists Championship reign yet. While I am not one to doubt her abilities, having watched her growth and improvement from the very beginning, I can’t help but wonder, especially with this field of competition, if what she has will be enough. Leaving the question of whether or not we could very well be seeing the last match of Serenity Valdez’ historic title reign which as of today has hit the 154 mark. Just like the rest of the questions asked today, that is something that remains to be seen.
(A quick highlight reel is shown of all six female Elitists participating in the Specialists Chamber, before all six of them are seen flashing across the screen together in the Road To Redemption match card. Once again, the Specialists Championship on the podium is seen, with that being the last shot before Sunday Night Voltage from there begins to fade commercial break.)
(Commercial break for Ronan Malosi magic tricks. Watch his promos for the week completely disappear!)
(Voltage returns to ringside, where Bella Braxton is seen holding a microphone.)
Bella Braxton: Ladies and gentlemen… The following contest is set for!!!
Crowd: ONE FALL!!
(‘Enemy’ by Sevendust hits, as The Prescription steps out onto the stage. They have their Unified Tag Team Champions strapped around their waist. The two continue down the entrance ramp and towards the ring. Once they get inside, Bethany poses with her belt, then hands it to Sheridan who brings it with her to ringside.)
Bella Braxton: Introducing first!! She’s accompanied by Sheridan Müller!! From Miami, Florida!! Weighing 125lbs!! She’s one half of the Unified Tag Team Champions!!! DR. BETHANY BLUE!!!
James Peters: Last week, after just defending the titles against Adam Lucas and Donovan Duke, they had to deal with SOSA Henderson and the Visual Prophet!
Rich Russillo: Their fight was so crazy it just had to be put on the card for Road to Redemption.
James Peters: Soul Food Sunday and The Prescription are two of the hottest teams in EAW and it was only time until they collided for the belts at a marquee event like Road to Redemption.
(‘Morals’ by EST GEE hits, as The crowd boos heavily. After a moment, it’s Soul Food Sunday’s SOSA Henderson stepping out onto the stage with Visual Prophet and Dr. Angelo D’Angelo right behind him. Sosa is rocking a pair of Viz’s buffs, and pulls them down to stare directly at Bethany in the ring. He then proceeds to make his way down to the ring.)
Bella Braxton: And her opponent! Accompanied by The Visual Prophet and Dr. Angelo D’Angelo!! From Philadelphia, Pennsylvania!! Weighing 191lbs!!! BULLETPROOF!!! SOSA HENDERSON!!!
James Peters: And here comes Henderson. One of the greatest Voltage Elitists in history. His time here was amazing, and now he returns with a chance to give his team some momentum heading into one of the biggest events of the year!
Rich Russillo: Judging off of how last week went, this should be a good one!
(DING! DING! DING!)
Rich Russillo: Here we go! Dr. Bethany Blue and Sosa Henderson start this match off by tying up in the center of the ring! Sosa quickly locks in a standing side headlock.
James Peters: Dr. Bethany Blue quickly wraps her arms around SOSA’s body, pulls him back towards the side ropes, then uses the momentum from the rebound to shove Henderson off and towards the far ropes!
Persephone: Henderson hits the ropes on the other side, then bounces back towards Dr. Bethany Blue!
Rich Russillo: KNEE TO THE MIDSECTION BY DR. BETHANY BLUE!!! SOSA Henderson drops down to knee for a moment, then rises back up in a hunched over position, as he clutches at his abdomen in pain!!
James Peters: BUT IT’S DR. BETHANY BLUE WITH A RUNNING KNEE LIFT THAT POPS SOSA HENDERSON RIGHT IN THE FACE!!
Persephone: That one looked pretty rough, as SOSA Henderson begins clutching at his face in pain. He remains standing on his feet, but since he’s covering his face he doesn’t see that Dr. Bethany Blue is there to deliver a strong forearm strike across his face!!! Another!! And another!!!
Rich Russillo: SOSA Henderson slowly turns around after that last strike to his face!! But Dr. Bethany Blue lowered her leve, and… CHOP BLOCK TO THE BACK OF THE KNEE BY DR. BETHANY BLUE!!!
James Peters: NO!!! SOSA HENDERSON STEPS OUT OF THE WAY, AND AVOIDED THAT CHOP BLOCK ENTIRELY!! Dr. Bethany Blue is down on the ground beside Sosa Henderson, and begins to work her way back up to her hands and kne-
Rich Russillo: STOMP DOWN ONTO THE CENTER OF DR. BETHANY BLUE’S BACK!! Bethany tries to work back up to her hands and knees once more.. BUT IT’S SOSA HENERSON AGAIN WITH THE AGGRESSIVE STOMP DOWN ONTO BETHANY BLUE’S BACK THAT PRESSES HER RIGHT BACK DOWN TO THE RING MAT!!!
Persephone: And now SOSA Henderson reaches down to grab Bethany! He lifts her up to her feet, then wraps his arms around her body!! He lifts her up.. THEN SLAMS HER BACK DOWN TO THE CANVAS WITH A BACK SUPLEX!!
Rich Russillo: SOSA Henderson is really feeling himself right now. He runs to the ropes, rebounds back towards Bethany who has turned onto her hands and knees.. THEN DELIVERS A JUMPING FOOTSTOMP DOWN ONTO THE CENTER OF HER BACK AND FLATTENS HER BACK AGAINST THE RING!!!
James Peters: Henderson now begins kicking Bethany in the sides and the ribs. She clutches at her ribs in pain after the third kick, but SOSA switches things up by grabbing her by the head and hair. He brings Bethany up to her feet, then tosses her up against the corner turnbuckle!!
Rich Russillo: FOREARM STRIKE TO THE FACE BY SOSA!! ANOTHER ONE!! AND ANOTHER!!! Sosa smacking Bethany across the face with these forearms, then follows up with a knee strike to her midsection!!!
Persephone: SOSA is really trying to establish control over this match. He’s been keeping Bethany grounded, and maintaining constant pressure against her.
Rich Russillo: You’re right, Persephone. No matter where Bethany is, SOSA makes sure to keep her down. Whether it’s stomps that press her again the ring mat, or strikes that keep her trapped in a corner, SOSA is making it really difficult for Bethany to get any offense going for herself!
James Peters: Another knee strike to the body by SOSA Henderson!!!
Rich Russillo: SOSA Henderson now with another forearm strike that tags Dr. Bethany Blue across the face! Bethany stumbles out of the corner, as Sosa blasts her with a kick to the side of the ribs! Henderson then turns towards the side ropes, leaps to them, then launches himself at Bethany with a.. SPRINGBOARD DROPKICK!!!
James Peters: NO!!! BETHANY SLAPS HIS BOOTS AWAY, AS HE FALLS FACE FIRST DOWN TO THE CANVAS OF THE RING!!
Rich Russillo: Dr. Bethany Blue is leaned up against the side ropes, as SOSA Henderson is down on the ring mat, and working his way up onto his hands and knees. Sosa looks up at Bethany, rises up to his feet, and charges right at her!!
Persephone: THE REMEDY!!! DR. BETHANY BLUE JUST CAUGHT SOSA HENDERSON WITH THE CUTTER OUT OF NOWHERE!!! HIS NECK MUST BE ALL MESSED UP AFTER THAT ONE!!!
Rich Russillo: That was surely a momentum altering move. Whatever control of this match that SOSA Henderson had is now officially lost, as Bethany is the one dictating the pace and movements of this match now. She has Sosa Henderson on the ground, and he doesn’t seem like he’s going to move anytime soon!
James Peters: And wait.. What’s this?!? DR. BETHANY BLUE JUST STEPPED BESIDE SOSA HENDERSON, AND DELIVERED A STRONG STOMP OF HER OWN!!! Must be a response to all of the brutal stomps SOSA has put her through early on in this match!
Rich Russillo: And now SOSA clutches at his back, but that’s exactly what Bethany wants. Remember, Bethany is a doctor. She knows how the human body functions and how it’s not supposed to function. She will dissect her opponent all the way down until they can’t move anymore, and the fact that she sees that SOSA’s lower back is hurting is not a good sign for Henderson!
James Peters: You have that right, Stew, because it looks like Bethany is stepping over Sosa’s body and reaching down for his legs! Now way she’s.. She’s locking it up!!!! FRACTURED!!! THE ELEVATED BOSTON CRAB IS LOCKED IN!!!
Persephone: SOSA HENDERSON INSTANTLY YELLS OUT IN PAIN!! He begins clutching at his locks, then reaches out for the bottom ropes, as he attempts to get a rope break!!
Rich Russillo: And this elevated boston crab is no ordinary boston crab. You can easily see that based on how much pain SOSA Henderson is currently going through in the ring right now!! See, by elevating the Boston crab, she’s capable of putting even more pressure onto the spine. Raising the hips and quads up to a higher angle gives her more leverage to target Sosa’s lower back! Sosa is really feeling the effects of it right now, and he may need to tap out!
James Peters: If he knew what was best for his physical health, he would tap out right now, but SOSA Henderson is an absolute warrior out there in the ring, and is fighting through the pain no matter what!! Bethany is pressuring down onto that back with all of her might, as Sosa Henderson continues yelling out in pain!!!
Persephone: Wait!! Henderson has gotten his forearms down onto the mat!! He works up to one hand, and now to another!!!
Rich Russillo: And look at the strength of SOSA Henderson now!! He basically performs a pushup to extend his arms out while in this Elevated Boston Crab!! This is smart thinking by Sosa Henderson, because by doing this, the angle and pressure on his back is alleviated!!
James Peters: AND LOOK!! NOW SOSA HENDERSON IS WALKING ON HIS HANDS AND PULLING DR. BETHANY BLUE BACKWARDS TOWARDS THE SIDE ROPES WHILE STILL BEING LOCKED IN HER FRACTURED SUBMISSION HOLD!!
Persephone: SOSA Henderson is reaching out!! He’s almost to the ropes!!! AND HE GRABS IT!!! SOSA HENDERSON FORCES THE ROPE BREAK!!!
Rich Russillo: Dr. Bethany Blue releases SOSA Henderson’s legs and walks away. We see SOSA Henderson down on the ring mat, and grabbing onto the ropes as he remains in pain! Henderson clutches at his lower back, as Bethany paces back and forth!!
James Peters: SOSA Henderson is slow to get up to his hands and knees. Meanwhile Dr. Bethany Blue stands right behind him waiting for him to get up. Eventually Sosa Henderson works his way up to his feet, as Dr. Bethany Blue gets from behind him and hooks his arms! And look at this! She lifts him up! Tiger Suplex!
Rich Russillo: Dr. Bethany Blue just slammed SOSA Henderson down onto the back of his head and neck with that tiger suplex!! She keeps hold of the arms, as SOSA’s shoulders get pinned down to the mat!
ONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!
TWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!
THHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRR-
Rich Russillo: And there is the kick out by SOSA Henderson. It looks like he has quite a bit more fight left in him, as he wasn’t letting this one come to an end so quickly. This is a huge match for both competitors, and we can see the emotions on Dr. Bethany Blue’s face. She smacks the mat hard with her hand out of frustration, as she stares down at SOSA Henderson. Meanwhile, SOSA Henderson is clutching at the back of his head and neck in pain!!
Persephone: this is an opportunity to get one over your future opponent. Both of these competitors really want to get this victory, and are willing to go beyond what their bodies will allow them to do. Just look at the damage Dr. Bethany blue had to go through early on in this match due to all of those stomps by SOSA Henderson. Then look at SOSA Henderson and how he has managed to battle through all of the submissions from Dr. Bethany Blue! Both of these competitors are giving it their all against one another and are trying their hardest not to show any weakness towards the other!
James Peters: That is absolutely right! And with Sheridan Müller, Visual Prophet, and Dr. Angelo D’Angelo all surrounding the ring, they know that everyone is keeping a close eye on this match!
Rich Russillo: SOSA Henderson and Dr. Bethany Blue both scramble up to their feet. The two quickly tie up, as Bethany delivers a strong knee strike to his stomach!! Another shot by Bethany!! Blue then hooks SOSA by the head, and.. SNAP SUPLEX!! Wow, that one really rattled the ring!!!
Persephone: Henderson is flat against the ring mat. Meanwhile, Dr. Bethany Blue makes her way over to the corner turnbuckles. She ends up climbing her way up onto the second rope, then looks down at Sosa Henderson. From here, Dr. Bethany Blue launches herself into the air and delivers a knee drop into the chest of SOSA Henderson!!!
James Peters: NO!!! SOSA Henderson rolled out of the way, as Dr. Bethany Blue slammed her knee up against the canvas of the ring! Blue clutches at her knee, then slowly works up to her-
Rich Russillo: NO WAY!! IT’S SOSA HENDERSON WITH WHO JUST GOT UP, AND SPRUNG OFF OF THE ROPES FOR A SPRINGBOARD ROUNDHOUSE KICK THAT BLASTED DR. BETHANY BLUE ACROSS THE FACE!!! Bethany stumbles over and into the side ropes!!
James Peters: She didn’t just stumble into the side ropes!!
Rich Russillo: She didn’t?!
James Peters: No, look!! Look at the position that she’s in!
Rich Russillo: You’re right! Her head and arms hang over the middle ropes!! That could only mean..
James Peters: TIGER FEINT KICK!!!!
Rich Russillo: IT CONNECTS, AS SOSA HENDERSON SWINGS HIMSELF AROUND TO CONNECT BOTH OF HIS BOOTS INTO THE FACE OF DR. BETHANY BLUE!!!
Persephone: Dr. Bethany Blue falls off to the side, as Sosa re-enters the ring. He grabs Dr. Bethany Blue by the head and hair, then brings her up to her feet. Henderson now grabs Blue by the wrist, then whips her towards the far ropes!!! Dr. Bethany Blue hits the ropes, then rebounds back.. BICYCLE KNEE STRIKE BY SOSA HENDERSON!!!!
Rich Russillo: NO!!! DR. BETHANY BLUE SPUN OUT OF THE WAY!!! SOSA Henderson loses his balance for a brief moment, as Dr. Bethany Blue sets herself up right next to him!! Sosa turns his head towards Blue!!
James Peters: TJD!!! SUPERKICK TO THE JAW BY DOCTOR BETHANY BLUE!!! IT CONNECTS, AS SOSA HENDERSON’S HEAD SNAPS BACK!!! He stumbles back towards the side ropes, and rebounds ba-
Rich Russillo: SPEAR!!! SPEAR BY SOSA HENDERSON!!!!! HE JUST CAUGHT ALL OF US OFF GUARD, AS HE USED THE MOMENTUM FROM THE ROPES TO LAUNCH HIMSELF INTO A DESPERATION SPEAR!!! I DON’T KNOW IF HE EVEN KNOWS WHAT HE DID, BUT BOTH ELITISTS ARE DOWN!!!
James Peters: pure exhaustion is what these two competitors are going through right now. Both the leaders are down on the mat breathing heavily and in so much pain. However, they both know that they need to outlast the other in this match right here. Who is going to make the first move and get this victory?!?!
Persephone: I THINK IT’S SOSA HENDERSON!! HE RAISES HIS ARM UP, THEN PLOPS DOWN ONTO DR. BETHANY BLUE FOR THE PIN!!!
ONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!
TWWWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!
THHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRRREEEEE-
James Peters: NO!!! DR. BETHANY BLUE KICKS OUT!! WHAT RESILIENCE BY THE DOCTOR!!! WOW!!!
Rich Russillo: SOSA Henderson rolls off of Dr. Bethany Blue. He stares up at the ceiling, and breathes heavily out of exhaustion. He slowly turns back onto his stomach and makes his way onto his hands and knees.
Persephone: Meanwhile, Bethany is seen clutching at her midsection in pain. She slowly turns over, then grabs at the side ropes to help assist her up to her feet. Bethany slowly gets up onto one knee, then to the other!
James Peters: And right behind her, SOSA is up one knee! Bethany stands up to her feet, as Sosa is seen doing the exact same at identical times! Bethany turns to face Sosa..
Rich Russillo: STOLE YO WORD I CANNOT SAY OUT OF NOWHERE!!! THE CUTTER BY SOSA HENDERSON JUST SNAPPED BETHANY’S FACE DOWN TO THE MAT!!! SHE ISN’T MOVING, AND EVEN SHERIDAN IS SHOWING SOME CONCERNS OUTSIDE OF THE RING!!! SOSA HENDERSON COVERS DR. BETHANY BLUE!!!!
ONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!
TWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!
THHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
James Peters: HER FOOT!!! BETHANY’S FOOT IS ON THE BOTTOM ROPE!!!
Rich Russillo: NO WAY!! THIS MATCH CONTINUES!!!!
Persephone: SOSA Henderson can’t even believe his eyes. He smacks his fist up against the ring mat, then works his way up to his feet. He reaches down and grabs Bethany. Henderson is exhausted, but he ends up bringing Blue up to her feet. Once she’s there.. SOSA SLAPS HER ACROSS THE FACE!!! HOW DISRESPECTFUL BY HENDERSON!!!
James Peters: There are a lot of emotions flowing in this match right here, and now SOSA Henderson wraps his arms around Bethany’s head!! I think he’s trying for another cutter! He’s attempting to put the final nail in the coffin!!
Rich Russillo: STOLE!! YO- NO!!! BETHANY SHOVES SOSA OFF, AS HE LANDED FLAT ON HIS BUTT!!!
James Peters: Bethany quickly gets behind Sosa, and hooks his head!!! She pulls him down onto the mat, then.. Wait.. SAY AHHHHHH!!!!! THE MANDIBLE CLAW IS LOCKED IN BY DR. BETHANY BLU-
Persephone: DR. ANGELO D’ANGELO JUST REACHED INTO THE RING, AND PULLED SOSA HENDERSON OUT OF IT FROM RINGSIDE!!! HE COMPLETELY JUST BROKE SOSA OUT OF THAT MANDIBLE CLAW!!!
Rich Russillo: And now Dr. Bethany Blue rises up to her feet and begins yelling out at D’Angelo!!! D’Angelo responds by yelling back at Dr. Bethany Blue while trying to justify his actions!!
James Peters: But there’s no justifying that, and even the referee doesn’t buy any of it, as.. HE TOSSES DR. ANGELO D’ANGELO OUT!!! HE’S EJECTED FROM RINGSIDE!!!! NO WAY!!!!
Rich Russillo: And this only infuriates Dr. Angelo D’Angelo, as he begins mouthing off at the referee!!! How disrespectful!
Persephone: AND LOOK!! SHERIDAN MÜLLER HAS MADE HER WAY TO THE OTHER SIDE OF THE RING AND SHOVES DR. ANGELO D’ANGELO BACK!! OBVIOUSLY SHE DOESN’T WANT ANYONE SCREWING WITH HER PARTNER, DR. BETHANY BLUE!!!
Sheridan Müller: (Off-mic) Get out of here!
(Dr. Angelo D’Angelo gives Sheridan Müller a mean and nasty look, then reaches down to help Sosa up to his feet. Security begins to make their way down the entrance ramp, so D’Angelo eventually makes his way out of ringside. Meanwhile, Dr. Bethany Blue exits the ring and stands beside Sheridan. The two look at one another, nod, then look back at SOSA and The Visual Prophet.)
James Peters: AND HERE THEY GO!!! BETHANY AND SOSA ARE TRADING PUNCHES!!! MEANWHILE, SHERIDAN MÜLLER AND THE VISUAL PROPHET ARE TRADING STRIKES OF THEIR OWN!!!
Rich Russillo: Bethany grabs at SOSA.. AND DELIVERS A RIPCORD FOREARM ACROSS HIS FACE!!!
James Peters: AND RIGHT NEXT TO THEM, IT’S SHERIDAN MÜLLER WHO DUCKS A LARIAT FROM VIZ!! He then turns around.. AND GETS TAKEN DOWN BY A DROPKICK FROM MÜLLER!!!
Persephone: Dr. Bethany Blue now grabs Sosa Henderson, and slides him into the ring. She then follows in. They both get up to their feet.. AND DR. BETHANY JUST STEPPED INTO A JUMPING DDT BY SOSA HENDERSON!!!
Rich Russillo: That DDT SMACKED BETHANY’S HEAD AGAINST THE CANVAS OF THE RING!!!
James Peters: And on the outside, it’s Müller and Viz trading strikes with one another!! Forearm by Müller! Boot by Viz! That one shoves Müller back, but she charges right at him.. SPINEBUSTER BY THE VISUAL PROPHET!!!
Rich Russillo: And now we have SOSA Henderson looking at Visual Prophet from inside the ring. The two Dynasty Elitists nod at one another, as they feel like Sosa finally has this one in the bag! Henderson steps right beside Dr. Bethany Blue, and..
Persephone: PAID IN FULL!!!
James Peters: NO!! THE DOUBLE CURBSTOMP MISSED!!! Bethany moves out of the way at the last possible moment, as SOSA’s boot just smacked against the ring!! Henderson clutches at his knee in pain, as Bethany works up to her feet!!
Rich Russillo: And while SOSA is hopping up and down while clutching at his knee, it’s Bethany who grabs him, and hooks his head!! No way!! SHE HAS HIM IN POSITION FOR…. WHIPLASH!! SOSA HENDERSON IS OUT COLD!!!!
Persephone: And look at Viz!! He sees this, and instantly rushes towards SOSA!! He’s going to try to affect the pi-
James Peters: No!! Sheridan Müller kept hold of his leg, and is holding him back! She rises up while keeping Viz’s leg.. INNER THIGH THROW!!! SHERIDAN JUST WHIPPED VIZ DOWN TO THE RINGSIDE FLOOR HARD, TEMPORARILY TAKING HIM DOWN!!!
James Peters: Meanwhile, in the ring!!! It’s Dr. Bethany Blue going for the pin with no one around to stop her!!!
ONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!
TWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!
THHHHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!
(DING! DING! DING!)
(‘Enemy’ by Sevendust hits, as the crowd erupts into boos. Dr. Bethany Blue rises up to her feet, and gets her hand raised by the referee. After a moment, Sheridan Müller meets her in the center of the ring after grabbing their Tag Titles. The Champions raise their belts in the air, as their team gets the singles victory over Soul Food Sunday.)
Bella Braxton: Here is your winner!!! DR. BETHANY BLUE!!!!
Rich Russillo: This was a great bout with tons of action. These are definitely the two hottest teams right now, and I’m beginning to look more and more forward to their match at Road to Redemption.
James Peters: Yeah, everyone is locked in and wants to leave Road to Redemption with those belts. We saw it last week when the two teams brawled it out, and that only carried over into tonight. These teams will surely bring their best!
(The screen shows The Visual Prophet helping SOSA Henderson up from off of the ringside floor after Henderson rolled out of the ring. We Then see the Unified Tag Team Champions staring down at Soul Food Sunday with their titles raised high. Voltage eventually fades elsewhere.)
(Promotional ad for Road to Redemption, where the Elimination Chamber for the EAW World Championship will be held.)
(As the Camera would fade back in from commercial, ‘Primrose’ by Dream State would begin to play throughout the arena to an abnormal amount of cheers, more than usual as Daryl Kinkade would walk through the curtain. He takes a deep breath, with a Microphone in hand as he would begin to make his way down the rampway, entering the ring as he looks around.)
Bella Braxton: Ladies and gentlemen, help me introduce at this time… DARYL KINKADE!!!!!!
Persephone: Oh goodie! Exactly what I want on this wonderful Sunday night; to hear Daryl speak! 😊
Rich Russillo: Daryl Kinkade hasn’t had the best of luck throughout this season, and really since he has come back, and I know that it has been a bit hard to get back on the right footing. Of course has had some big opportunities, including even challenging for the World Championship at one point, but you can’t think about that without the failure that has been included for him.
James Peter: But he is now looking to get back on the right track, and that leaves me, and I am sure everyone else at home and watching live intrigued in what he might possibly have to say.
(Daryl Kinkade would clutch the Microphone closely to him, listening to everyone in attendance chant his name for him. He lets out a sigh, of what seems to be disappointment, before he finally raises the Microphone up, ‘Primrose’ fading out slowly in the distance as he finally takes the time to speak.)
Daryl Kinkade: Man, it really has been hard for me since I have come back.
Daryl Kinkade: When I returned in the Grand Rampage match earlier this year, I was almost… hellbent on revenge. I wanted to get revenge on the man who I once looked at as a best friend to me, like a brother to me, and that was Charlie Marr, and I rightfully thought that I would be able to do exactly that at Pain For Pride by taking the Hardcore Championship away from him, and beating him to a pulp in the middle of that very ring… but it wasn’t meant to be. Fast forward just a week later, and with the new season starting up, I was drafted to Voltage… with Charlie Marr on the same brand as me, and I thought this would finally be the season where I proved to everyone what Daryl Kinkade truly was all about.
Daryl Kinkade: I have had my ups, but I also have had my crippling downs in the form of failure. I challenged for the World Championship near the beginning of the season! But… I failed to capture it. Whenever I feel like I am getting back on the right track, there is something that stops me from doing exactly that, and I have honestly had enough of it. I need to be real with myself, and everyone else; have I proved my worth at any point since my return? No, not really… and I am looking to fix that for the better of myself. And now, I am finally getting another opportunity at doing that. Two opportunities, actually, in the span of just a week apart from each other, and those are going to be opportunities that I am going to make sure I don’t waste this time around, and I don’t let the failure get the best of me.
Daryl Kinkade: With the Christmas Show that is taking place in Hawaii ahead of us, I am being given yet another opportunity at not only revenge, but winning the Hardcore Championship. Becase honestly, being Hardcore Champion has always been something that I have looked to achieve here in Elite Answers Wrestling, especially ever since the night that I came back, but I wasn’t able to the first time around. I need to make sure that I fix that. I am going up against Charlie Marr, Theron Nikolas, and Hikari Kanno… and they are all, much like me, having a burning desire to be the Champion… that is why I need to prove that I desire it just that much more. I can finally get revenge on Charlie… I can finally win the Hardcore Championship… and I can finally prove to everyone that I am more than just a “#EAW15 return that was never going to last long,” and to put it simply; I can finally prove that Daryl Kinkade is here to stay!
Crowd: :blessed: :blessed: :blessed:
Daryl Kinkade: But before we get there, there is something else that I need to make sure I keep my grand focus on, and that is the Extreme Enigma Memorial Elimination match at Road To Redemption. A match that is honoring the legacy of the late and great Extreme Enigma, a legend of this business, no doubt about it. There is a lot on the line heading into that match, and with Elitists from all three brands looking to win, I need to, once again, show why I desire it just that much more. Because no matter how much it takes, I must win. I must not let these opportunities slip out of my fingertips anymore. I am sick of people doubting me, and I think that it is time that I prove that I am more than what they look at me as. And I can do that by not only winning the elimination match at Road To Redemption, and then winning that Hardcore Championship when we arrive to Hawaii to end the year!
(The fans in attendance would give Daryl a standing ovation, as he would look at them with a smile on his face, proud with the victories that he has declared. Daryl would then give a bow, before setting the Microphone and going to leave the ring…
But, that is before ‘Seek and Destroy’ by Metallica begins to play, the cheers turning immediately into a negative and cold reaction of defining boos, as Halsey Neel would then step out onto the ramp way.)
Rich Russillo: :lupe:
James Peters: :lupe:
Persephone: Oh my oh my! Exactly what we need; more drama! I am definitely not dying on the inside right now from that cringe ted talk speech Daryl gave us!
Rich Russillo & James Peters: :francis:
Persephone: What?
(‘Seek and Destroy’ would then fade out as Halsey Neel would make it into the ring. She grabs a Microphone of her own, as Daryl just shakes his head and picks the Microphone he had back up, backing into the corner with a look of disgust.)
Halsey Neel: You really think you’re all that, huh?
Daryl Kinkade: Well—
Halsey Neel: I don’t want to hear it. I have already heard enough of the same pity speeches that we have had to go through from multiple washed up hasbeens who have stepped back into this company after they left for good reasons. Yeah, you haven’t been doing your best… no duh! What else did you expect? You have been passed by, and now you are upset and having a little fit over it, and it is working after all, I can give you that. You’re getting your sympathy points from the crowd, and now you’re going to head into not only Road To Redemption, but that stupid Christmas show, and what are you going to do? Fail back to back. LIKE YOU ALWAYS DO!
Halsey Neel: You’re not winning that elimination match at Road To Redemption, and that is all there is to it. Because you put it best; you can get your feel good moments, you can have your ups, but they are always going to come with the crippling downs of failures when you need those ups the most. Maybe after you lose this match at RTR, and the Hardcore Championship match, you can finally take a good look in the mirror and realize that no one needs you anymore. And you can, you know, leave, before you have to be forced to leave again through paralyzation, just like good ol’ times.
Daryl Kinkade: And what caused for you to have to bring something like that up? It seems to me that the one who thinks wrestling is “boring,” is actually the boring one herself—
Halsey Neel: Oh my god just BE QUIET—
(Suddenly, Daryl and Halsey would both be cut off, as this time around, ‘The Reluctant Heroes’ by Hiroyuki Sawano begins to blast through the speakers, the reactions throughout the audience picking back up in a positive manner as Haruka Kashimashi storms down to the ring with a Microphone in hand. She gets into the ring, and immediately gets into the face of Haruka as ‘The Reluctant Heroes’ fades out.)
Persephone: Yaaaaaayyyyyy—
Haruka Kashimashi: Hush it, Persephone!
Persephone: :whoa:
(Haruka would then turn her attention back towards Halsey.)
Haruka Kashimashi: Who the heck do you think you are? Look, I may not be on good terms with someone like Daryl Kinkade, but at least I respect him enough to keep personal past issues out of my mouth! We all know that the only reason you are saying any of this to begin with is just to try and get in his head, try and throw him off his game so he can be there for the pickings at Road To Redemption. But let me set something straight for you; you are DEFINITELY not going to be the one winning at Road To Redemption.
Halsey Neel: Oh really? You really think that?
Haruka Kashimashi: I know it. Because YOU are your OWN WORST ENEMY! And you always have been from the very moment that you stepped foot into this company in the first place! You always try to make enemies out of people, but all you are doing is making things so much worse for yourself. Trust me when I say it, that one way or another, it doesn’t matter — you’re not walking out of RTR with the win.
Daryl Kinkade: I’m glad some people here know basic logic.
Haruka Kashimashi: Oh and Daryl, no disrespect to you, but you’re not winning either. I am not going to let the opportunity that is being put in front of me slip out of my fingers. Our reasons to wanting to win this match are similar in a way… the only difference is the newcomer has more to prove. Daryl, I have more to prove.
Daryl Kinkade: :comeagain: I know that you said “no disrespect” to me, but honestly, I don’t care about that. You may think that you are going to win this match, that you have more to prove than me, and that you need to win this match… but the truth? Is you don’t. When there is someone like myself in this match, you most certainly don’t.
Halsey Neel: Oh, what? You think you need this win because you need to prove that you aren’t “washed up,” when we know that you are? I don’t know who is worse between you or this idiot standing right by me right now.
Haruka Kashimashi: Is that so?
Halsey Neel: Haruka, let me ask you this; how many times have you beaten me before?
…
Halsey Neel: Exactly.
Haruka Kashimashi: Oh brother, here we go again. Yeah, you have beaten me a couple of times, but by the end of the day, when Road To Redemption comes around, you definitely are not going to.
Halsey Neel: Sure. You tell yourself that.
(Halsey and Haruka would pull their Microphones away from each other, and continue to bicker and argue with each other about who is going to win at Road To Redemption. After a couple of moments, Daryl finally lifts his mic back up, and cuts both of them up.)
Daryl Kinkade: None of you are winning. That is all there is to it. No one from Dynasty is winning, no one from Showdown is winning, and why? Because only one person is going to win, and that person is from Sunday Night Voltage. It’s not you, Haruka. It’s not you, Halsey. It’s me. And that is all there is to it. And then, by the time the new year comes? The Kink Of Elite WILL be the Hardcore Champion!
(Daryl would throw the Microphone down to the mat, as Halsey and Haruka are left in shock after what he had just said. He then exits the ring, leaving for them to continue their bickering as he walks up the ramp with a smile on his face as the Camera would fade out from there.)
(A promotional ad for Road to Redemption airs showcasing the Universal Women’s Champion. See the champion, Sienna Jade, defend her title against Hall of Famer, Madison Kaline! Road to Redemption comes to you live on Disney Plus, December 10th and 11th!)
(The camera cuts to Bella Braxton in the ring.)
Bella Braxton: The following contest is an Extreme Elimination Chamber Preview Match!!!! And it is scheduled for…
Crowd: ONE FALL!!!
(‘Praise The Lord’ by Bandokay hits to boos from the crowd. Charlie Marr comes out being booed loudly by the crowd, and he’s not in a good mood at all following what happened earlier in the night, where he was one of five people laid out by Samael. Charlie makes his way down the ramp, not at all waiting for his tag team partner.)
Bella Braxton: Introducing first from Tower Hamlets, London, United Kingdom… Weighing in at 240 pounds… HE IS THE HARDCORE CHAMPION, CHARLIE MARRRRRRRRRRR!!!
James Peters: Not too surprised Charlie isn’t happy right now. That was a brutal attack earlier by Samael.
Rich Russillo: Yeah, unexpected too. He spent the whole interview as Michael, but the arguing and hatred got to him. I don’t think anybody in this match is at their one hundred percent.
(‘Pass The Nirvana’ by PTV hits to a far less negative reaction, but as Theron makes his way out, he doesn’t look any happier than Charlie. He suffered the same fate after all, but if there’s anything else that’s get to them it’s the fact that they’re now teaming up. Theron walks down the ramp, but neither man takes their eyes off of each other.)
Bella Braxton: And his tag team partner.. From Edmonton, Alberta, Canada… Weighing in at 224 pounds… TTTTHHHEEERRONNN NNNIIIKKKKOOOOLLLASSSS!!!!
Rich Russillo: I just wonder how this match is going to play out. These two hate each other.
James Peters: Well Theron isn’t going after Charlie right now but it is pretty clear that he wants to. Both of these competitors seemed to focus more on each other than their partners this week and they definitely most definitely want to fight each other instead.
( ‘Cold War’ by Hans Zimmer hits to deafening boos from the crowd. Drake King begins to walk out, showing similar signs of pain to the other competitors, and he doesn’t look any more happy than Charlie or Theron about the match that he’s in. Drake doesn’t waste any time, walking down the ramp without waiting for his tag team partner.)
Bella Braxton: And their opponents first from The Dead Sea, Israel… Weighing in at 220 pounds, he is “The Messiah” DRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAKE KING!!!!!!!!
James Peters: Well Drake confirmed earlier this week he has no intentions of co-existing with his partner. He thinks this whole match is a joke but at least he showed up for it.
Rich Russillo: I hate to say it but if he isn’t going to co-exist Minerva’s chances may have been better going solo.
( “Blood, Milk & Sky” by White Zombie hits as the crowd erupts into cheers for the first time in all of these entrances. Minerva makes her way to the ring not even acknowledging the presence of Drake King as she heads down the ramp. She’s hurt just like the other three Elitists, but she’s also focused on tonight’s match.)
Bella Braxton: And his tag team partner from Bucharest, Romania… Weighing in at 122 pounds.. she is the EAW World Champion “The Black Rose” MINERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRVA!!!!!!!!
Rich Russillo: I don’t know if these two can co-exist but hopefully they can at least wrestle and put on a good match for these great Voltage fans.
Persephone: Yes… a good but reasonably lengthy match would be preferable. 😄
(DING! DING! DING!)
Rich Russillo: We are underway as Minerva is ignoring Drake King entirely as she insists on starting the match. Drake reluctantly returns to his corner and grasps the tag rope. It looks like Theron Nikolas has chosen to grab the tag rope for his team as Charlie Marr sighs and enters the ring to begin the match. Already there are signs that these two teams cannot co-exist. They don’t even like being out here in the ring together. This thing is a powder keg and it is going to explode. Charlie now is stepping to Minerva and he is talking all kinds of smack. Charlie looking real unhinged and dangerous out here tonight about to snap and pop off. The competition is fierce as they finally go to lock up! Charlie with the power advantage!
James Peters: Charlie Marr with the hard shove all up on Minerva. He is just forcing her into the ropes grinding them into the champion’s back. Minerva is able to land a knee to the midsection though, followed by a second knee! Minerva repeatedly landing knees that forces Charlie to slowly stumble backwards, but Charlie Marr rakes the eyes of Minerva! That wasn’t fair at all!
Rich Russillo: The referee warned Charlie against that, but Charlie Marr ignores the referee’s scolding and begins to kick away at Minerva who holds her eyes in pain. No Persephone, the referee is not going to disqualify him for that.
Persephone: Who said that’s what I wanted? That would end the match! I don’t want that! Not me!
Rich Russillo: Personally I think she is telling the truth. :wow: Charlie Marr shoves past the referee as he walks up and disrespectfully slaps the face of Minerva who spins around from the impact. Charlie is done playing around as he begins hammering away at the champion in the corner. Minerva is doing her best to block his shots but Charlie is beating on her too much. Minerva ducks between the ropes as the referee forces Charlie away from her. Minerva shoots out of the corner behind Charlie. She grabs him around the waist and lifts him up into a Suplex attempt! But Charlie keeps his feet planted not allowing Minerva to toss him. Charlie kicks back and rips Minerva’s arms from him twisting around her and yanking the arm. Minerva goes reeling across the ring but Charlie holds onto her arm yanking her right back into a Headlock.
Persephone: Charlie Marr is now holding Minerva down in the ring for some time in a rest hold. Take your time king. Take your time.
James Peters: Charlie Marr wrenches on that headlock as Minerva throws herself into the ropes trying to break free from it. But as they bounce off the ropes Charlie drops his knee down to the mat ending the momentum and wrestling Minerva down to her knees with the headlock still applied tightly. Minerva begins to fight back up with hard elbows eventually breaking free and grabs the arm of Charlie wrenching it around his back. But Charlie with hard back elbows to the head of Minerva eventually freeing himself from that predicament. Minerva grabs Charlie and whips him across the ropes. Minerva with a Clothesline! Charlie rushes back to his feet, but Minerva runs in and takes him down with a forearm smash!
Rich Russillo: Charlie uses the ropes to get up as Minerva charges at him, BUT CHARLIE LIFTS HER UP OVER THE TOP ROPE!!! Minerva lands on the apron though, AND SHE CONNECTS WITH A HEADBUTT, CAUSING CHARLIE TO STUMBLE BACK!!! Minerva is on fire now, and now she looks to re-enter- WAIT NO! CHARLIE GRABS MINERVA AND LOOKS TO CAPITALIZE! Hanging DDT from the middle rope by Charlie!!! Charlie goes into the cover!!!
Referee: ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-
James Peters: But Minerva kicks out! Theron Nikolas had a few words for Charlie after that failed pinfall, and Charlie didn’t take too kindly to it! He makes the tag in to Theron Nikolas and rolls out of the ring. Looks like Charlie is going to let Theron handle things. That tag was somewhat disrespectful but Theron is now entering the ring and approaching the EAW World Champion, who he’ll be facing at Road to Redemption. Theron tries to drop an elbow on her but she moves out of the way. Minerva grabs the arm of Theron and twists him around into a Cross Armbreaker! No! Theron flips out of it as they roll back up only for Minerva to take Theron down across the ring with a quick Arm Drag.
Rich Russillo: Theron Nikolas rolls back up to his feet as Minerva charges in, but Theron ducks out of the way. Theron steps around beside Minerva as she runs into the ropes and whirls around. Theron with a hard back chop to the chest of Minerva right up against the ropes as the sound of that chop echoed throughout the arena. Theron pulls Minerva in towards him and takes her down with a Snapmare into a headlock. Theron trapping Minerva in the ring but she kicks out of it back up to her feet not letting herself be trapped in a headlock again. Both competitors back up as Minerva connects with a discus elbow smash, causing Theron to stumble! Theron is able to recover though, and he kicks Minerva hard in the gut and tosses her backwards with a Belly to Belly Suplex! Theron runs across the ring and drops his knees down hard across the face of Minerva for good measure.
James Peters: Theron Nikolas picks Minerva back up and whips her across the ring. Theron catches Minerva on the rebound and tosses her up and she comes crashing down on her back with a Back Body Drop. Theron now controlling this match as he helps Minerva back up and hooks the arms. Theron with the Double Underhook Facebuster dropping Minerva right in the middle of the ring! No! Minerva tosses Theron up over behind her! Minerva with a chance now to make the tag to Drake King in the corner, but it doesn’t look like she’s planning to take it just yet! MINERVA INSTEAD GOES FOR THE DEVIL’S TOUCH- but Theron grabs her by the leg! Drake didn’t appear to make much of an effort to extend his arm to tag in either. It’s not clear he actually wants to participate in this match which is unfortunate.
Persephone: He probably just trusts her to handle this match. I mean she is the champion after all. She should be able to win this match with ease all by herself! Like a true Disney hero! 😄
Rich Russillo: But Minerva whips around and fires back with a roundhouse kick to the face of Theron Nikolas! Theron drops to a knee! Minerva spins around… SPINNING HEEL KICK TO THE FACE OF THERON!!! YES, IT CONNECTS, AND NOW MINERVA GOES FOR THE COVER AS THERON DROPS ONTO THE MAT!!!
Referee: OOOONNNNNEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!
Referee: TTTTWWWWOOOOOOOO!!!!
James Peters: Theron kicks out!! Minerva is quick to act though, as she gets back up and pulls Theron up into a front facelock! MINERVA NOW LOOKING FOR ATLAS FALLS!!!
Rich Russillo: NO!! THERON LANDS A KNEE TO THE TOP OF THE HEAD BEFORE DROPPING TO HIS FEET! Theron pulls Minerva down with a Spinning Side Slam driving her down hard to the mat! Theron now into the cover! Can he pin the champion in the middle of the ring?!?!?
Referee: ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!
Referee: TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!
James Peters: Minerva kicks out!! Theron Nikolas immediately locks her into a headlock to keep her grounded as he continues to control this match. Drake King is shown looking on in disappointment and mouthing something to the camera. Clearly Drake is not impressed with Minerva so far despite the fact he hasn’t done anything at all and she’s carried the match for her team so far. But she is in a difficult predicament as Theron transitions out of the headlock into a Crossface! But Minerva flips out of it and gets her foot on the ropes flipping upside down in order to do so. The referee forces Theron to break the hold which he does after pushing his luck on the five count and nearly getting disqualified in order to keep the hold applied as long as possible and dish out some real damage to Minerva who is now favoring her arm.
Rich Russillo: Theron Nikolas holds Minerva in the headlock as he walks over to Charlie Marr.
Theron Nikolas: (off-mic) Don’t mess this up.
(Charlie just shakes his head in annoyance as Theron tags him in.)
Rich Russillo: Charlie comes back in and kicks the chest of Minerva. Somehow Theron and Charlie are managing to work together pretty well so far able to isolate Minerva in the early goings of the match. Minerva is going to need to rely on Drake King if she wants to survive against this double team from her opponents. Charlie grabs the arm of Minerva and pulls her down into a Side Armbar on the mat wrenching up the air. Charlie is trying to rip the arm out of Minerva’s socket as she may have to tap out. But she manages to will herself back up to her feet and somehow break out of the hold!
James Peters: Minerva fires back at Charlie Marr with repeated Forearm Strikes to the face and she may be on the comeback here. Minerva battering the bald head of Charlie back up into the corner and begins lighting up his chest with repeated back chops. Charlie shoves her out of the corner and walks forward and slaps the face of Minerva! No! She blocks it and hammers him with a hard haymaker! Minerva drops Charlie down to the mat!
Rich Russillo: Charlie Marr scurries backwards into the corner taken aback by Minerva’s shot. Minerva chases him into the corner and begins punching him repeatedly in the corner. There is no escape for Charlie as Minerva is beating up his gut with repeated quick jabs. Minerva grabs the arm of Charlie and yanks it around twisting his arm out of the corner and yanks him down to the mat. Minerva then swings her leg around and drops the leg across the arm of Charlie! Minerva wrecking Charlie with that move as she has suddenly taken control of the match. Minerva picks Charlie up and kicks him in the gut… Minerva with a Snap Suplex across the ring as she slides into the cover!
Referee: ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!
Referee: TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!
James Peters: Charlie Marr with the kickout! Minerva grabs Charlie and picks him up… Minerva with a picture perfect Dropkick sending Charlie into the corner nearly nailing Drake! Minerva goes to the corner to make the tag.
(Suddenly Drake King falls off the apron to the outside.)
Drake King: (off-mic) I’d rather not. You’ve got it covered, right?
Minerva: (off-mic) :francis:
Rich Russillo: Oh come on… We knew both teams would struggle to work together, but what is this!?
James Peters: Well it looks like Minerva is going to have to continue wrestling this match by herself as she yanks Charlie out of the corner and whips him across the ring. Charlie comes running back across the ring as Minerva catches him and spins him around in midair… SPINNING SPINEBUSTER CONNECTS!! Minerva drove Charlie down on his back with authority! Minerva with the cover!!!
Referee: ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!
Referee: TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Referee: THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-
Persephone: The kickout by Charlie Marr! Minerva nearly put him away there! But unfortunately the match con- I mean unfortunately the match is probably nearly over! Minerva picks Charlie back up and bashes him up against the ropes with repeated forearm strikes to the head as Charlie looks like he is struggling to even stand up after the repeated shots to the head. Theron Nikolas isn’t even looking concerned from his corner, and I don’t think I’m too surprised given everything he had to say. Deep down he is probably enjoying this a lot.
Rich Russillo: Minerva suddenly pulls Charlie Marr high up into the air… ATLAS FALLS CONNECTS!!! MINERVA GOT ALL OF THAT AS SHE CRUSHES THE SKULL OF CHARLIE INTO THE MAT! MINERVA SLIDES INTO THE COVER!!! THIS IS OVER!!!
Crowd: ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!
Crowd: TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Crowd: THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
James Peters: Wait why isn’t the referee counting?
Rich Russillo: The referee is informing Minerva that while she had Charlie Marr up in the air before hitting that Brain Buster… Drake King touched her back and tagged himself in! I didn’t even see that! Neither did Minerva! But Drake is the legal man!
James Peters: Drake King enters the ring and shoves Minerva off Charlie Marr and kicks Minerva under the bottom rope with his boot before sliding into the cover on Charlie!!! Drake is going to steal the win for his team!
Persephone: This is true teamwork! Minerva was trying to hog the entire match for herself but with Drake’s help and only with the power of Disney magic and friendship can they win! TOGETHER!!! <3
Referee: ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!
Referee: TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!
Referee: THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!
Rich Russillo: No! Charlie Marr kicked out! Minerva would have had the match won then and there but Drake King’s interference stopped it from happening! He should have just let her have the pin and he would have gotten the win too!
Drake King: (off-mic) :wtf:
Rich Russillo: Drake King is not happy! I think he wanted to win the match right there and then! Drake picks Charlie Marr up and tosses him into the corner. Drake runs across the ring with a Running Clothesline! No! Charlie gets his legs up and kicks Drake out of the corner. Drake goes flying back in the ring and lands on his back. Charlie to the corner as he makes the tag in to Theron!
(TAG!)
James Peters: Drake King charges in trying to stop Charlie Marr from making the tag but he is way too late! Theron Nikolas enters the ring and takes Drake down with a Running Lariat! Drake tries to crawl towards the corner to make the tag but Minerva doesn’t appear to be making much of an effort to tag him in. And can you blame her? The former New Eden stablemates not co-existing much at all this week as Theron begins to light up the chest of Drake with repeated Back Chops in the corner. Drake staggers out as Theron catches him and lifts him up in the air… PUMPHANDLE SLAM FROM THERON AS HE DRIVES DRAKE DOWN INTO THE MAT!!! THERON WITH THE COVERR!!!
Referee: ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!
Referee: TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!—
Rich Russillo: Drake King kicks out! Suddenly Charlie Marr grabs the leg of Drake and yanks him to the outside! Charlie slams Drake head first into the apron and is beating him outside of the ring! Drake being driven back first into our commentary table and nearly spilled Persephone’s green tea over onto the ground.
James Peters: But Drake King has a lot to worry about here tonight as Charlie Marr is going to slam him face first into the steel turnbuckle. Minerva doesn’t look like she is very interested in intervening either. But if Drake gets beaten too much that could cost her the match too! Charlie picks Drake up and slams him back first onto the mat!!!
Persephone: Wait what is Theron doing? Why is he getting involved?
Rich Russillo: Theron Nikolas just got out of the ring and he shoved Charlie Marr! It looks like these two still have their issues as Charlie just took Drake to handle things himself! Charlie shoves Theron back! Theron is looking like he is about to snap! Theron about to pop off here tonight! This is crazy! WAIT LOOK OUT!!!
James Peters: Drake King attacks Charlie from behind! Charlie just collapses on the outside of the ring as Drake just took him out! But Theron Nikolas acts immediately charging Drake and catching him in the gut with a Running Knee Lift! Theron grabs Drake and throws him back into the ring. Theron ignores his own partner on the mat as he returns to the ring following Drake inside. But Drake catches Theron as he comes through the ropes tripping him! Theron falls on his face as Drake runs off the ropes and drops a knee on the back of Theron’s neck smashing him face first into the middle of the ring! Theron is down and out as Drake picks him up and tilts him upside down… Drake with a Sit-Down Piledriver on Theron! He could have snapped his neck off that! Drake to the cover!!!
Referee: ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!
Referee: TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!
Referee: THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!
Rich Russillo: The kickout from Theron Nikolas! Drake King again unable to put his opponent away despite his best efforts to do so and to end this match as soon as possible. Drake is looking annoyed as he grabs on Theron and twists him sideways. Drake hooks the leg on Theron and he has a One Legged Half Boston Crab tightly applied! Drake couldn’t get the pin but maybe he can get the submission! Theron is in severe pain as he reaches out and tries to make it to the ropes to force the break! Can Theron make it? He is crawling! He is close! A finger tip away!!!
James Peters: Theron Nikolas makes it to the ropes! The match continues!
Persephone: N- I MEAN YES!!!
Rich Russillo: Drake King grabs Theron Nikolas and slams him face first into the turnbuckle padding using it as a weapon. Drake beating the tar out of Theron as he lifts him up in powerbomb position and throws him across the ring back first into the opposite turnbuckle. Theron taking a lot of damage here as his back collides with the corner. Drake rolls out of the ring and positions himself on the apron as he waits for Theron to get back up. Drake leaps up to the top rope as Theron raises up to a standing position. Drake comes flying across the ring from the top rope with a Leaping Knee Strike from a springboard position! Drake gets all of it and he just knocked Theron the hell out! Drake to the cover and this time Theron has gotta be done. For sure for sure!
Referee: ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!
Referee: TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!
Referee: THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!
James Peters: No! The kickout from Theron Nikolas! And Drake King is angrily pounding the mat in rage. It looks like he has something in mind now. Something that is going to for sure end the match. Even more for sure than the last thing that was for sure supposed to end the match. But what could it be that he is in fact planning? Drake now stalks his way over to the corner. Drake is going to have to do some real King type things in order to win out here tonight. Drake climbs slowly up to the top as Theron is still lying motionless. But what is he even going to do? Like is he going to jump off the top rope?
Rich Russillo: DRAKE KING PLUMMETS FROM THE TOP ROPE WITH A GUILLOTINE LEG DROP! BAH GAWD ALMIGHTY THE ELEVATION! DRAKE COMES CRASHING DOWN ACROSS THE NECK OF THERON NIKOLAS!!!
James Peters: No! Theron Nikolas moves out of the way! Drake King crashes and burns! Drake with a huge mistake here tonight as Theron pulls himself back up and now is his chance!!!
(TAG!)
Persephone: What the? I thought Theron was going to pin Drake and end the match but…—
Rich Russillo: Charlie Marr just slapped the shoulder of Theron Nikolas! Charlie tagging himself back in against Theron’s will! Theron whirls around and he is not happy! Theron just tried to punch Charlie out! But Drake runs up on Theron from behind and sends him over the top rope as Charlie dodges the punch! And Charlie enters the ring and rakes the eyes of Drake! Drake staggers back to the ground screaming as he holds his eyes. Charlie now enters the ring with a smirk on his face pleased at this turn of events with both his opponent and partner suffering due to his actions.
James Peters: Charlie Marr grabs Drake King but Drake shoves Charlie back… Drake runs in with a Running Dropkick sending Charlie flying across the ring back to his corner.
(TAG!)
Rich Russillo: Drake King runs back to his own corner and tags in Minerva quickly as he rolls out of the ring. Looks like Drake just wanted to get the hell out of there! Minerva enters the ring as Charlie pushes himself out of the corner to charge up at her.
(TAG!)
James Peters: But Theron Nikolas jumped back on the apron and slapped the face of Charlie Marr! Theron with the disrespect as he tags himself into the match!
Persephone: But Charlie Marr is done taking it!
Rich Russillo: Charlie Marr enters the ring and hits Theron Nikolas with a low blow! On his own partner! Charlie hooks the arms of Theron… THE QUEEN IS DEAD! Charlie just dropped Theron as he rolls out of the ring!
James Peters: Charlie Marr is heading backstage! He doesn’t care about this match at all! Minerva now looking on confused as she is in the ring with the fallen Theron. Minerva walks over to Theron wondering what she should even do!
Rich Russillo: Minerva picks Theron Nikolas up and connects with Atlas Falls!!! Minerva gets it again as she goes for the cover!!!
Referee: ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!
Referee: TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!
Referee: THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!
(DING! DING! DING!)
Bella Braxton: Here are your winners… the team of THE EAW WORLD CHAMPION MINERRRRRRRRRRRVA AND DRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAKE KING!!!!!!!
(‘Blood, Milk & Sky’ by White Zombie hits as Minerva rolls off of Theron Nikolas, not too concerned with the feud between him and Charlie Marr knowing that they’ll be future opponents anyway.)
James Peters: A real big win for Minerva here tonight. But you have to imagine she is not happy with how it came about. Charlie Marr basically handed her that W on a silver platter!
Rich Russillo: But you can’t blame her for taking advantage!
Persephone: I can and I will. That was not the Disney way.
James Peters: So should we restart the match then?
Persephone: :whoa: !
Rich Russillo: Minerva is rolling into Road to Redemption and if things go like tonight she just might retai-
James Peters: WAIT WHAT THE HELLL!!!! DRAKE KING WITH THE RUN IN!!!
Rich Russillo: DRAKE KING LAYS OUT MINERVA WITH THE GUILLOTINE!!! DRAKE JUST TOOK HER HEAD OFF!!!
James Peters: Well Drake was able to co-exist if you can even call it that well enough to get the win but it is clear that he is the last man standing! Drake sending a message! Could he be our next champion?!?!?!?!
(Drake King picks up the EAW World Championship off the ground and looks at it in disgust before dropping it on top of Minerva and leaving. As Drake walks up the ramp, Voltage fades to a commercial.)
(Commercial break for Nickelodeon starring Drake King because Disney betrayed him.)
(Voltage returns to ringside, and before long ‘Enemy Strike’ by Yuki Hayashi hits, causing the fans in attendance to start cheering extremely loudly as the camera fades towards the stage. After a few seconds, Myles begins to walk out to the stage with a focused look on his face. The former EAW World Champion is holding a microphone in his hand, seemingly prepared to speak to the crowd tonight following the huge match announcement last week that he’d be facing Yhwach O’Hara at Road to Redemption. Myles stares directly at the ring on his way down the ramp, seemingly only focused on the upcoming match which will be taking place in a few weeks.)
James Peters: Myles is out here now, and it looks like he plans to share some words with us after he finally got what he wanted last week: the chance to fight Yhwach O’Hara!
Rich Russillo: Yeah! At Road to Redemption he’ll be facing O’Hara in a match I’m sure is gonna steal the show knowing their history. Let’s not forget that these two faced off an entire year ago, just a few months before the attack that took O’Hara out of EAW for the rest of that season!
Persephone: Oh yeah! I remember that match! One of my favorites at Shock Value!
James Peters: It was at Bloodsport..
(Myles finally enters the ring as the fans continue to cheer, only just now beginning to turn his attention towards the thousands of people in the crowd who are likely just as excited as he is for the upcoming Road to Redemption match. Eventually the fans all begin to quiet down to hear what Myles has to say, and before long he begins to speak.)
Myles: When I returned at Wicked Games, I didn’t think I’d be spending my first marquee match since Pain for Pride facing a man that I helped take out of action a year ago. This isn’t the kind of thing you can expect to find yourself involved with as you’re preparing to step back in the ring for the first time in months. I was ready to just pick up where I left off at Pain for Pride. I was perfectly fine with returning to Voltage and just facing whoever was willing to step up to the plate and give me a fight.. But before I even had the opportunity to put out a challenge, or challenge a member of the roster myself, I was laid out. I was attacked on my very first night back in EAW after months away from this industry, and instead of spending the next week getting payback I’ve had to wait weeks just to hear a single word from the man responsible. Now after weeks of waiting, I don’t just have an answer. I have a match at Road to Redemption against Yhwach O’Hara, and there’s only three words I need to say about that. It’s about time.
(The fans once again begin cheering extremely loudly, but Myles doesn’t stop there.)
Myles: I’m not impressed by “Yhwach”, and I’ve already made it clear that if he wanted a match all he ever had to do was ask, but clearly he never had any interest in doing anything but forcing me to play into his mind games week after week. If I hadn’t suggested Road to Redemption as the place for our match then I’m not so sure we’d ever even get the chance to face, because clearly he’s not in any rush to face me. He’s not in any rush to actually “get his revenge” or live up to any of the other promises he made last week. I’m not so sure what happened to him in the past year but somewhere down the line he became more delusional than ever, because he actually expected me to sit here and wait until the day he decides he wants to end this. I don’t know what kind of man he thinks I am, but I’m not going to let anybody attack me and get away with it. I’m not going to let anyone pick a fight with me just to run away and hide the second I’m prepared to fight back. He knew exactly what he was doing, and I think it’s very obvious that before I walked out there last week and made it clear that I’m not going to keep waiting, it’d just be a repeat of two weeks ago and Wicked Games. It’d be another week of stalling.
Myles: At Road to Redemption I’m finishing what O’Hara started. I know what I did last year and I’ve accepted a long time ago that helping form New Eden was one of the biggest mistakes I’ve made in my career, but after spending around seven months separating myself from New Eden and fighting a man I was stupid to ever trust, I refuse to get back in the ring just to keep reliving the past. I don’t care if he’s doing this for revenge, or to get in my way since he knows I want to reach the top of Voltage again. O’Hara asked for a fight when he attacked me at Wicked Games, and at Road to Redemption I’m going to give it to him.
(The fans begin cheering extremely loudly, but this changes as ‘SUN//EATER’ by Lorna Shore hits. While the reaction from the crowd is really loud, it becomes far more of a mixed reaction as Myles turns towards the stage. Myles doesn’t look surprised, instead just waiting as Yhwach O’Hara slowly begins to walk out to the stage. The two Road to Redemption opponents stare directly at each other, as Myles waits for Yhwach to get into the ring.)
James Peters: And now here comes the man that started it all! He attacked Myles back at Wicked Games, and now in just a few weeks these two will finally get the chance to face off!
Rich Russillo: Yhwach O’Hara doesn’t really look too impressed by what Myles had to say, but then again this is the exact same look he had on his face last week. He really doesn’t seem too worried about facing Myles, but could that be a mistake??
James Peters: Maybe. We know how talented he is, but we just can’t overlook how great Myles is and how far he’s come in the past year.
(Yhwach slowly walks down towards the timekeepers area, where he’s handed a microphone, before finally he begins to walk up the steel steps. Myles hasn’t taken his eyes off of him throughout all of this, and as Yhwach gets inside of the ring he begins to speak.)
Yhwach O’Hara: You’ve really gotten ahead of yourself, haven’t you?
(Myles remains silent as O’Hara walks up to him.)
Yhwach O’Hara: I may have chosen to accept your challenge for Road to Redemption last week, but that doesn’t mean we’ve reached the point for you to start sharing your empty promises just yet. Like I said last week, I didn’t return to EAW to operate on your time, and I certainly didn’t return to EAW just for you to decide how this ends. It’s been a year since I had the opportunity to step foot in a ring and face off against whatever poor soul was put in front of me, so I’m not going to let a match like this go to waste. At Road to Redemption I’ll be having a match against the man who made the mistake of trying to end my career, so if I’m to be up against someone like yourself who’s severely out of your depth just by standing in the same ring as me, I want to make sure it’s worth my time.
(This catches Myles by surprise as he begins to speak, clearly interested in what Yhwach has to say.)
Myles: What are you talking about?
Yhwach O’Hara: It’d be a shame if we were held back by the limitations of a normal match when this started with you putting my career at risk. I didn’t just attack you because I wanted to force you into submission or pin you the same way I did the last time we were in a match against each other. Since you insist we end the year with a match, you won’t be leaving Road to Redemption without having felt the exact same pain that took me out of action, the same punishment you expected to keep me away from the ring permanently. Should we enter the ring at Road to Redemption and I simply defeat you in an ordinary match that could’ve happened any other week of the year, you could always make excuses, the same way your entire group did a year ago. You could always just walk away from it, or even worse, you could prove to me that you have yet to learn from your mistakes and try to attack me the same way you did one year ago. Needless to say, I won’t allow you the chance to walk away from this the same way you walked away from Bloodsport.
(There’s a mixed reaction from the crowd, but this time there’s far more cheers than before as a lot of fans are excited over the possibility of these two facing off in a special stipulation match. After a few seconds Myles starts to speak, and he doesn’t look any less determined than before.)
Myles: I’ll admit I’m surprised, only because I didn’t think you were interested in spicing things up for a match I had to challenge you to. I hope you weren’t expecting me to be afraid of the idea of facing you in some sort of stipulation match though. You should know better than most that I don’t mind getting my hands dirty, so I’ll gladly face you in whatever match you have in mind as long as you understand that regardless of whatever stipulation you have in mind, the outcome of this match is not going to change. I’m not the man I was a year ago and I’m definitely not the same competitor. You know I’m not buying this idea that this match would be a complete waste of time to you after what you pulled at Wicked Games, so if you’re only thinking of adding a stipulation to this match because you think you’d have an easier time tearing me apart, you should really think again. You can try to make me feel the same pain you felt last year, but when our match is over I’ll still be the only man left standing.
(There’s a staredown between the two Elitists as Yhwach O’Hara keeps the same calm look on his face as before despite the words from Myles, and suddenly the crowd explodes into cheers as ‘Self Help Tape’ by Moses Sumney hits, stopping either man from getting the chance to speak. As the music plays, the Voltage commissioner Captain Charisma begins to walk out to the stage, holding a microphone in his hand.)
James Peters: The commissioner is here, it looks like he heard what these two had to say about wanting to make this match even more exciting!
Rich Russillo: That’s not a surprise. Seeing the look on his face, it seems like he’s as big of a fan of that idea as everyone else is!
(Myles and Yhwach O’Hara both stare at Captain Charisma, who has a grin on his face. The fans begin to quiet down, allowing the commissioner to speak.)
Captain Charisma: Guys, I heard everything from the back, and you know what? While neither of you have spoken to me about the idea of giving this match a stipulation, I think we all know that giving two competitors like the two of you the chance to go all out could very well result in one of the best matches of the year! If there’s one thing Voltage has been known for it’s giving our roster the opportunity to push themselves as far as they can without any limitations, and with the history the two of you have I can see why you wouldn’t want to be held back by the rules of a normal match, which is why I have a suggestion for you.
(The fans start cheering as Myles and Yhwach continue to listen, everyone seemingly interested in hearing the suggestion from Captain Charisma.)
Captain Charisma: The last time you two faced off, it was in a hardcore iron man match, a match where the Elitist with the most falls will win. Things took a surprising turn that night as the final score was one-to-zero, so if you two are going to face off at Road to Redemption, why not eliminate any doubt by forcing you to put your opponent down not once, but twice? The match I have in mind is something that we don’t see very often in EAW, and Road to Redemption is the perfect place to see a stipulation like this put into action. My suggestion is a two out of three TABLES match!
(The cheers grow even louder than before, and Myles doesn’t waste any time giving his answer.)
Myles: Let’s do it.
(The cheers continue, as Captain Charisma turns his attention to Yhwach O’Hara.)
Captain Charisma: That’s great! So what do you say, Yhwach?
(There’s a brief moment of silence from Yhwach O’Hara, causing Myles to turn back towards him as he waits for an answer.)
Yhwach O’Hara: Fine by me. As for you, however?
(O’Hara turns to Myles.)
Yhwach O’Hara: Take the next few weeks to consider the idea that you may have made yet another mistake challenging me to a match at Road to Redemption instead of enjoying the time you had left. This was never going to end well for you, but you sped up the process.
Myles: And you really believe I’m worried?
Yhwach O’Hara: Your fears don’t mean anything to me. Worried or not, when this is over even Wicked Games would be considered a good night compared to Road to Redemption. At least at Wicked Games, even when you were laid out and at my feet, you could still hope to enter the ring again.
(The two Elitists stare each other down as Captain Charisma watches on from the ramp, until finally Yhwach O’Hara just begins to walk past Myles, making his way out of the ring.)
James Peters: WAIT A SECOND, MYLES JUST GRABBED YHWACH AND HE THROWS A RIGHT HAND-
Rich Russillo: WAIT, O’HARA KNEW MYLES WOULD GO FOR THE ATTACK AND CAUGHT HIS ARM! NOW IT’S YHWACH GOING FOR A STRIKE, BUT MYLES CATCHES THE ARM IN SIMILAR ACTION, AND NOW HE HEADBUTTS YHWACH!!
James Peters: YHWACH TAKES MYLES DOWN WITH A DOUBLE LEG TAKEDOWN THOUGH, AND NOW HE BEGINS THROWING LEFTS AND RIGHTS AS MYLES IS FORCED TO TRY AND BLOCK THESE PUNCHES- WAIT NO! MYLES MANAGED TO LAND A RIGHT HAND, AND NOW HE TAKES THE CHANCE TO GRAB YHWACH BY THE ARM AND PULL HIMSELF OVER HIM! NOW IT’S MYLES WITH THE UPPER HAND AS HE STARTS DELIVERING PUNCHES OF HIS OWN!
Rich Russillo: YHWACH PUSHES MYLES OFF OF HIM THOUGH, AND MYLES ROLLS OUT OF THE RING- ONLY BEFORE GRABBING YHWACH BY THE LEGS AND PULLING HIM OUT, MEETING HIM AT RINGSIDE!!! Myles now looking to throw Yhwach into the barricade, BUT O’HARA TURNS IT AROUND, SENDING THE FORMER WORLD CHAMPION BACK FIRST INTO THE BARRICADE RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE FRONT ROW!
James Peters: YHWACH NOW CHARGES IN, BUT MYLES LANDS A BOOT TO THE JAW!! Myles now running in, BUT YHWACH DUCKS UNDER BEFORE LANDING A KNEE TO THE MIDSECTION, DROPPING MYLES TO A KNEE! YHWACH NOW GRABS BOTH OF MYLES’ ARMS, AND THERE’S THE KNEE STRIKE!! HATHAWAY’S DREAMS!!!!
Rich Russillo: Yhwach isn’t finished there! Captain Charisma is calling for security to break this up as he can see things getting out of hand, AND I THINK HE MADE THE RIGHT DECISION THERE AS O’HARA’S PULLED MYLES TOWARDS THE STEEL STEPS, NOW STARTING TO SLAM HIS HEAD INTO THEM JUST LIKE MYLES KEPT SLAMMING HIS HEAD INTO THE SIDE OF THE CAR A YEAR AGO!
(Before things could get any worse, a few security guards run down the ramp. Yhwach O’Hara slowly backs off from Myles as he realizes this, allowing them to tend to the former World Champion as he just watches on.)
James Peters: I’m honestly glad that things could be stopped before they could get any worse. Myles looked to finally get some payback after Wicked Games, but it looks like Yhwach was able to get the upper hand once again.
Rich Russillo: If that’s what he was able to do before security could get involved, though, I can’t even imagine what might happen at Road to Redemption..
(Yhwach O’Hara slowly walks up the ramp, not even bothering to look down at Myles as he walks past Captain Charisma. From there, Voltage begins to fade away from ringside.)
(Commercial break for One Piece starring Myles cosplaying as Sanji and Minerva cosplaying as Nami.)
(Voltage opens up inside of the Thong Nhat Stadium, where we see Hikari Kanno sitting out at ringside, not too far from the commentary area. After a moment of the camera panning across this sold out arena, ‘Good for Her’ by MOTHICA featuring emlyn hits, and the crowd erupts into a loud mixed reaction. Cameron Ella Ava steps out onto the stage, and looks focused. Not worried about the reception she’s getting at all. Cameron continues down the entrance ramp while staring at Hikari Kanno from a distance.)
Bella Braxton: The following contest is your main event of the evening!!! And it is scheduled for!!!!!
Crowd: ONE FALL!!!
Bella Braxton: Introducing first!! From Los Angeles California!!! Weighing 140lbs!!! THE SERPENT!!! CAMERON ELLA AVA!!!!
James Peters: Well, there’s no secret what went down last week between both Hikari and Cameron, and I’m sure that was only a preview of what’s to come at Road to Redemption.
Rich Russillo: Yep. Hikari was thrown into Cameron, and Cameron surprisingly attacked her, leading to a brawl! Cameron clearly has a new attitude which we’ve learned, and that’s definitely caused this match to take a far different turn than we expected.
(‘Catch Me if You Can’ by BABYMETAL hits, as the crowd erupts into cheers. Usagi Senshi steps out onto the stage. She looks determined and ready to compete in tonight’s main event as she approaches the ring. Meanwhile, Cameron Ella Ava paces back and forth while both competitors lock eyes with one another ahead of their big match.)
Bella Braxton: And her opponent!! From Fukuoka, Japan!!! Weighing 115lbs!!! MASTER OF EXCELLENCE!! USAGI SENSHI!!
Rich Russillo: And it was announced last week that Usagi Senshi will get to team up with Ayu Megumi to take on Candice Blair and Sierra Everett at Road to Redemption!
James Peters: The card is really shaping up to be something great! Voltage has definitely built up some great matches for the event, and right now we have two amazing Voltage talents about to go at it in the ring for tonight’s main event!
(DING! DING! DING!)
Rich Russillo: Here we go! This main event is underway! Both Cameron Ella Ava and Usagi Senshi approach each other in the center of the ring and tie up! Usagi with a quick knee to the midsection to start off the match! Senshi then slips in a front facelock!
James Peters: It doesn’t look like Senshi is going to get anything out of it though, as Cameron Ella Ava spins out of it, and takes Usagi down to the mat with an arm drag takedown!!
Persephone: Senshi was thrown across the ring, but she pops back up and charges right back at Cameron!!
Rich Russillo: BUT IT’S ANOTHER ARM DRAG BY CAMERON ELLA AVA!! Usagi hits the mat hard! This time she is unable to get up as quickly, and instead, is seated on the ring mat! This gives Cameron the opportunity to.. KICK USAGI RIGHT IN THE BACK!!! CAMERON’S BOOT JUST SMACKED USAGI SO HARD THAT THE SOUND COULD BE HEARD THROUGHOUT THIS ARENA!!!
James Peters: Usagi Senshi did not enjoy that one bit! She’s definitely in pain, as she clutches at her back!
Persephone: Meanwhile, Cameron Ella Ava grabs Senshi’s head, and brings her up to her feet! Kick the midsection by Cameron!! She then pulls Senshi in, then lifts her high up in the air!!
Rich Russillo: That’s a powerbomb position, and it looks like Cameron is really going to deal some damage here! Cameron Ella Ava rushes her way over to the corner turnbuckles..
James Peters: BUCKLE BOMB BY CAMERO-
Rich Russillo: NO!!! USAGI SENSHI ESCAPES FROM THE BACK, AS SHE LANDS BEHIND CAMERON ELLA AVA! Cam turns around…
Persephone: PELE KICK!!!
Rich Russillo: Usagi with a stunning pele kick that catches Cameron right at the bridge of the nose! Cam stumbles back towards the ropes!!
James Peters: Cameron hits the ropes, then steps back towards Usagi Senshi on the rebound!!
Persephone: BUT SHE WALKS RIGHT INTO A BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEX!!! USAGI SENSHI WITH AN INCREDIBLE COMBINATION TO TAKE CAMERON DOWN TO THE CANVAS OF THE RING!!!
James Peters: Hikari is watching this closely, and I’m sure she wasn’t too happy seeing Cameron tonight knowing the circumstances of that attack last week. I have a feeling she may be enjoying seeing Usagi get the upper hand!
Rich Russillo: Usagi Senshi now makes her way over to Cameron, and grabs both of her legs! She twists around and looks like she’s going to lock in her sharpshooter!!!
James Peters: BUT CAMERON ISN’T LETTING IT HAPPEN!! The Goddess kicks Usagi Senshi in the back, as that shoves her off! Cameron gets back to her feet fairly quickly, as now she’s behind Usagi!!!
Persephone: SUPER KICK BY USAGI SENSHI!!!!!
James Peters: NO!! CAMERON ELLA AVA DUCKS UNDERNEATH THE LEG, AS USAGI SENSHI GOES RIGHT PAST HER!
Rich Russillo: Cameron turns Senshi around now, and.. HOOK TO THE JAW BY CAMERON!! NOW SHE FOLLOWS UP WITH A JAB KICK TO THE KNEE THAT HUNCHES SENSHI OVER!! CAMERON NOW BLASTS SENSHI RIGHT IN THE FACE WITH HER KNEE, AS THE ICE ACES MEMBER STANDS STRAIGHT UP NOW!! ANOTHER POWERFUL HOOK BY CAMERON THAT TURNS USAGI SENSHI ALL THE WAY AROUND!!
James Peters: Cameron Ella Ava is putting her striking and kicking combos on full display here! Absolutely running a clinic out there in the center of the ring!
Rich Russillo: It looks like Cam wants to take it to the mat, as we see her step beside Usagi Senshi and.. CAMERON ELLA AVA TAKES USAGI DOWN WITH A SIDE RUSSIAN LEG SWEEP!!! WOW WHAT A MOVE BY CAMERON, AS SHE MANAGED TO SLAM USAGI SENSHI BACK DOWN TO THE MAT!!!
Persephone: Senshi is clutching at her back in pain right now, and slowly working her way up onto her hands and knees. Meanwhile, Cameron Ella Ava is back to her feet, and planning her next move.
Rich Russillo: Stomp to the midsection by Cameron!! Another!! And another!! Senshi is clutching at her stomach in pain, as she rolls onto her stomach to prevent it from getting stomped on any longer. Usagi now works her way up to her hands and knees, then looks up!
James Peters: IT’S CAMERON ELLA AVA WHO’S LOCKED IN AND READY!!! SHINING WIZARD BY THE AVA SISTER!!!
Rich Russillo: NO!!! USAGI SENSHI DUCKS UNDERNEATH THE KICK, AS CAMERON LANDS FACE DOWN ONTO THE MAT!!
Persephone: AND LOOK AT THE QUICKNESS OF USAGI SENSHI, AS SHE RUSHES OVER AND LOCKS IN A CROSSFACE!!! SHE’S TUGGING ACROSS CAMERON’S FACE!! PULLING AND STRETCHING CAMERON’S NECK FROM OFF OF HER SHOULDERS!! MEANWHILE, CAM CAN’T DO ANYTHING BUT YELL OUT IN PAIN!!!
Rich Russillo: This is an unforgiving position right here for Cameron, and she needs to find a way out of it soon!! Usagi has her right where she wants, and is pulling on that submission hold as hard as she can!!!
James Peters: Now what’s this?? Cameron works up to her base now, and.. SHE ROLLS THROUGH, AND ENDS UP ROLLING USAGI SENSHI ONTO HER BACK FOR THE SNEAKY AND DEFENSIVE PIN ATTEMPT!!!
ONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!
TWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!
THHHHHHHHHHHHHH-
Rich Russillo: AND USAGI SENSHI RELEASES HER GRIP ON CAMERON IN ORDER TO KICK OUT!!
James Peters: That’s definitely the experience being on Cameron’s side. She managed to stay focused enough to turn her bad situation into a situation that nearly won her this match just now. And although she didn’t get the pin, she at least put herself in a better position in this match moving forward.
Persephone: Both women are quick to their feet!!!
Rich Russillo: WONDER WOMAN PUNCH BY CAMERON ELLA AVA!!!
James Peters: NO!! Somehow, Usagi managed to get out of the way of that unexpected Forearm smash!! And now, Cam continues running towards the far ropes! She springs and rebounds back towards Usagi!
Persephone: BUT USAGI SENSHI NEARLY TAKES HER HEAD OFF WITH A DISCUS LARIAT!!! CAMERON ELLA AVA GOES DOWN TO THE RING MAT IN AN INSTANT!!
Rich Russillo: Cameron is slow to get up, but she manages to get to her hands and knees, then back up to her feet..
James Peters: KICK TO THE STOMACH BY USAGI SENSHI!! SHE PULLS CAMERON IN, THEN LIFTS HER HIGH IN THE AIR!!!!!
Rich Russillo: This doesn’t look good for Cameron at all!!!
Persephone: POWER!!!! BOMB!!!!!!
Rich Russillo: WHAT A SLAM BY USAGI SENSHI! ABSOLUTELY RATTLING THE RING WITH THAT FORCEFUL POWERBOMB!!
James Peters: Senshi now steps off to the side of Cameron Ella Ava… A DELIVERS A STANDING DOUBLE FOOTSTOMP TO THE MIDSECTION!!! THAT ONE HAD CAMERON GASPING FOR AIR!!!
Rich Russillo: And now Usagi Senshi runs to the far ropes!! She hits the ropes, then rebounds back towards Cameron Ella Ava with incredible speed!!! GROUNDED CORKSCREW KICK BY USAGI SENSHI!!!!!
Persephone: IT CONNECTS!! Usagi just hit Usagi hard right there, and is now going for the pin!
ONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!
TWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!
THHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRR-
James Peters: AND THERE’S THE KICK OUT BY CAMERON ELLA AVA!!
Rich Russillo: Usagi Senshi gets back to her feet, then looks over at the corner. She then turns her head and sees Cameron Ella Ava on the ground clutching at her body in pain.
James Peters: Usagi Senshi is on the move right now, as she hurried her way over to the top turnbuckle. She sets her feet, and gets ready to take flight-
Persephone: But it looks like Cameron Ella Ava just rolled out of the ring! She didn’t want any part in that!
(Cameron walks past Hikari Kanno, shaking her head as she turns her attention back to Usagi.)
Rich Russillo: Those two locked eyes for a second, and I think we may be lucky to have not seen another brawl! But regardless, that was Great ring awareness by Cam! I don’t know what Usagi had planned, but if she would have connected from that high up, it may have been all bad for The Goddess!!
James Peters: Usagi doesn’t look too happy that she missed that opportunity. However, she quickly hops down onto the ring apron from the top turnbuckle! She continues running down the ring apron in Cameron’s direction..
Rich Russillo: SHE LEAPS OFF OF THE RING APRON!!! FLYING FOREARM SMASH BY USAGI SENSHI!!!
Persephone: NO!!! CAMERON ELLA AVA SPINS OUT OF THE WAY!!
James Peters: Usagi Senshi stumbles on her feet. She regains her balance, but the second she turns around..
Rich Russillo: WONDER WOMAN PUNCH!!! THE FOREARM SMASH BY CAMERON ELLA AVA KNOCKS USAGI SENSHI STRAIGHT DOWN TO THE THINLY PADDED RINGSIDE FLOOR!!
Persephone: Cameron Ella Ava leans up against the ring apron. She breathes heavily, and looks down at Usagi Senshi. Cameron takes a moment, as the referee reaches a count of 5, but eventually she slides back into the ring!
James Peters: The Goddess rushes her way across the ring, as Usagi Senshi begins to work her way up to her feet on the outside! Cameron hits the ropes, rebounds back, and.. SUICIDE DIVE!!! THE GODDESS JUST TOOK OUT USAGI, AS SHE LAUNCHED HERSELF FROM INSIDE OF THE RING DOWN ON TO SENSHI AT RINGSIDE!!! BOTH WOMEN ARE DOWN!!!
Rich Russillo: Cameron Ella Ava slowly starts to push herself up, and now that the count has restarted she has the opportunity to do even more damage! Cameron slowly starts to pull Usagi Senshi up, AND NOW CAMERON DRIVES USAGI BACK FIRST INTO THE BARRICADE!!! The past few moments have been all Cameron, and that’s really not good for Usagi Senshi. In a match against a Hall of Famer and veteran like Cameron, you can’t afford to slip up as it’ll be incredibly difficult to turn things around! Cameron now with a knee to Usagi’s midsection, AND CAMERON THROWS USAGI INTO THE STEPS!!
Persephone: WAIT, USAGI MANAGED TO JUMP UP AND LAND ON TOP OF THE STEEL STEPS!!! Cameron Ella Ava was actually surprised by this and now she runs towards Usagi, BUT USAGI BACKFLIPS OVER CAMERON, LANDING ON HER FEET BEHIND THE HALL OF FAMER! USAGI NOW GRABS CAMERON, LIFTING HER UP BEFORE DROPPING HER ONTO THE RINGSIDE FLOOR WITH THE ACE-PLEX!!! Wow, that sure was a great move by Usagi Senshi 😀! Usagi’s using the apron to pull herself back up now, and I think that was the opening she needed to take Cameron out of this match!
James Peters: Usagi Senshi is slowly pulling Cameron up before rolling her back into the ring, but Cameron is making the smart decision and rolling towards the other side of the ring! Usagi slides back into the ring, and now she can’t immediately go for the cover, giving Cameron just a little bit of time to recover! Usagi Senshi is quick to rush over to Cameron though, AND SHE BEGINS STOMPING AWAY AT THE HALL OF FAMER, TRYING HER BEST TO DIRECT THE STOMPS TOWARDS CAMERON’S HEAD AS CAMERON IS FORCED TO START ROLLING TO THE APRON! Cameron is in a lot of trouble right now!
Rich Russillo: Usagi Senshi now making her way out to the apron, AND USAGI RUNS IN AND GOES FOR A RUNNING DOUBLE FOOT STOMP ONTO CAMERON- BUT IT DOESN’T CONNECT!! CAMERON MANAGED TO ROLL OFF THE APRON AT THE LAST SECOND, AND NOW SHE SWEEPS USAGI’S LEGS, CAUSING USAGI TO FALL BACK FIRST ONTO THE APRON!! Cameron collapses down at ringside as Usagi rolls back into the ring, and both Elitists are looking a little worse for wear right now! Cameron still has yet to recover from the Ace-Plex and those stomps, but was able to use her experience to her advantage to even the odds!
Persephone: Cameron slowly manages to pull herself onto the ring apron before rolling back into the ring, BUT USAGI GETS TO ALL FOURS BEFORE PUSHING HERSELF TOWARDS CAMERON, CONNECTING WITH AN ELBOW STRIKE!!! Cameron Ella Ava drops down and now Usagi pulls herself up to both knees before dragging Cameron’s head up by her hair- JUST FOR CAMERON TO SLAP USAGI IN THE FACE!! Usagi Senshi didn’t take that too kindly, AND NOW SHE BEGINS UNLOADING, HITTING CAMERON WITH FOREARM AFTER FOREARM WHILE HOLDING CAMERON BY THE HAIR SO SHE CAN’T ESCAPE!!
James Peters: WAIT, CAMERON JUST GOT HER FOOT UP ON THE MAT AND PUSHED HERSELF FORWARD, ALLOWING HER TO GET ON TOP OF USAGI BEFORE LANDING SOME NASTY ELBOW STRIKES TO THE JAW, FORCING USAGI TO LET GO OF HER HAIR AS SHE NOW IS FORCED TO TRY AND BLOCK THESE ATTACKS! Should’ve known a talent like Cameron Ella Ava would’ve been able to think of a way out of that! Usagi Senshi is able to push Cameron off of her, AND NOW BOTH ELITISTS GET BACK TO THEIR FEET AS USAGI SWINGS AT CAMERON- BUT CAMERON DUCKS UNDER THE STRIKE BEFORE GRABBING USAGI BY THE HEAD! SNAPBACK!!!
Rich Russillo: CAMERON CHOSE TO WAIT FOR THE ATTACK INSTEAD OF GOING TO STRIKE FIRST, AND THAT ALLOWED HER TO CONNECT WITH SNAPBACK AS USAGI CRUMBLES TO THE MAT!! CAMERON ELLA AVA NOW WITH THE COVER!!!
OOOOONNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
TTTTTTWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!
TTTHHHHHRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-
Rich Russillo: USAGI SENSHI MANAGES TO GET THE SHOULDER UP, JUST BEFORE THREE!!! Hikari Kanno is still watching closely as this match progresses, and I think that would’ve made a very good impression on Cameron’s part if the match came to an end right there! It wasn’t to be though, as Usagi now has a great chance to get back into this!
Persephone: Cameron Ella Ava isn’t happy about that kickout, and I don’t blame her! Only because that was a very devastating move, of course.. Not because I actually want the match to end or anything like that!
James Peters: Cameron Ella Ava slowly pulls herself back up to her feet. and here’s the thing that needs ro be kept in mind. She may not have won the match right there but she’s still in control, and from the looks of things she may be looking to put this one away very soon as she’s lifting Usagi Senshi up!
Rich Russillo: CAMERON LIFTED USAGI UP INTO A FIREMAN’S CARRY, BUT USAGI IS ELBOWING CAMERON AS HARD AS SHE CAN!! CAMERON ELLA AVA HAS HER IN POSITION TO CONNECT WITH NO BODY, NO CRIME, BUT USAGI IS TRYING AS HARD AS SHE CAN TO FIGHT OUT OF THIS MOVE, KNOWING THAT IF IT CONNECTS IT VERY WELL MAY BE THE END OF THE MATCH FOR HER!! Hikari Kanno is watching this struggle go down, knowing that at this point anything could happen, and if the best case scenario for Cameron happens, her in-ring return would’ve been a success!
James Peters: YOU’RE RIGHT, BUT IT LOOKS LIKE THINGS AREN’T GONNA BE THAT EASY FOR CAMERON!! CAMERON WENT TO DELIVER THE MOVE, TURNING USAGI’S BODY FOR THE CUTTER TRANSITION, BUT USAGI USED THE OPPORTUNITY TO DELIVER A BACKSTABBER!!! WHAT A COUNTER BY USAGI SENSHI, WHO NOW IS SLOWLY TRYING TO PUSH HERSELF BACK TO HER FEET SO SHE CAN CAPITALIZE!!! If Usagi wins this match she’d have picked up one of the biggest victories of her entire career, and I don’t think this is an opportunity anybody would want to pass up!
Rich Russillo: USAGI SENSHI NOW MANAGES TO LIFT CAMERON ELLA AVA UP ONTO HER SHOULDERS! USAGI HAS HER UP IN A POWERBOMB POSITION AS SHE LOOKS TO FOLLOW UP THAT BACKSTABBER, BUT CAMERON ISN’T MAKING THINGS EASY FOR HER AS NOW IT’S THE HALL OF FAMER BEGINNING TO FIGHT BACK!! I THINK USAGI MAY HAVE BEEN TRYING TO SET UP “LOST IN THE FIRE”, BUT WITH THE DAMAGE SHE’S TAKEN THROUGHOUT THIS MATCH I’M NOT SO SURE SHE’LL BE ABLE TO POWER THROUGH ALL THESE STRIKES!!! Usagi is stumbling as she appears to be losing her balance, these punches are clearly getting to her!
Persephone: USAGI JUST DROPPED CAMERON BACK TO HER FEET!!
James Peters: BUT IT LOOKS LIKE SHE DID IT ON PURPOSE, IMMEDIATELY GOING TO HIT CAMERON WITH A ROUNDHOUSE KICK!!
Persephone: CAMERON DUCKED UNDER IT THOUGH, AND NOW SHE GOES FOR THE WONDER WOMAN PUNCH!!
James Peters: AND USAGI SENSHI BLOCKS THAT BEFORE BACKPEDALING INTO THE ROPES!!! USAGI BOUNCES OFF OF THEM AS SHE CHARGES DIRECTLY AT CAMERON ELLA AVA, GOING FOR FATALITY!!!
Persephone: CAMERON AVOIDED IT!!! SHE JUST MOVED OUT OF THE WAY, AND NOW SHE KICKS USAGI IN THE MIDSECTION!! Cameron now running the ropes, AND SHE GOES FOR A KICK BUT USAGI CATCHES THE LEG- JUST FOR CAMERON TO GO FOR GODDESS RISING!!!
James Peters: WAIT!! USAGI MANAGED TO PULL HERSELF BACK RIGHT BEFORE THE AXE KICK COULD CONNECT!!! That was extremely close, there’s really not a long window of time to avoid that move!! Any later and Usagi Senshi would’ve been out, BUT NOW SHE CONNECTS WITH AN ENZUIGIRI, DROPPING CAMERON ELLA AVA!! Usagi Senshi now getting to her feet as fast as she can, as she now grabs Cameron Ella Ava before lifting her into a fireman’s carry!! USAGI SENSHI LOOKING TO BRING THIS MATCH TO AN END, AS SHE GOES TO HIT CAMERON WITH CRITICAL DARLING!!!!
Rich Russillo: IT DOESN’T CONNECT!!! JUST AS USAGI STARTED TO SWING CAMERON, CAMERON USED THE MOMENTUM TO PUSH HERSELF ONTO HER FEET!! MUCH LIKE USAGI’S COUNTER EARLIER CAMERON MANAGED TO ESCAPE THE FIREMAN’S CARRY!! USAGI IMMEDIATELY RUNS INTO THE CORNER THOUGH, LOOKING TO STOP CAMERON FROM GETTING THE CHANCE TO CAPITALIZE!!! TIME DEFICIENCY-
James Peters: WONDER WOMAN PUNCH!!! USAGI SPRUNG OFF OF THE MIDDLE ROPES FOR THE TIME DEFICIENCY, BUT CAMERON CAUGHT HER WITH THE WONDER WOMAN PUNCH INSTEAD, DROPPING USAGI ONTO THE MAT AS HIKARI KANNO WATCHES ON!!! WHAT AN INCREDIBLE COUNTER BY CAMERON ELLA AVA, KNOCKING USAGI SENSHI RIGHT OUT OF THE SKY JUST AS USAGI WAS ABOUT TO BRING THIS MATCH TO AN END!!
Rich Russillo: I think Hikari Kanno knows as well as we do that this match might just be over following a crazy counter like that! Cameron Ella Ava is lifting the lifeless Usagi Senshi up onto her shoulders, AND NOW THERE IT IS!!! NO BODY, NO CRIME CONNECTS!!! CAMERON ELLA AVA DROPS USAGI SENSHI RIGHT INTO THE MIDDLE OF THE RING, AND NOW CAMERON HOOKS THE LEGS!!!!
OOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!
TTTTTTTTTWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!
TTTTTTHHHHHRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!
(Ding! Ding! Ding!)
Bella Braxton: Here is your winner…. CCAAAAAMMMMEERROOONNNN EEELLLLAAAA AAAAVVVAAAA!!!!!
James Peters: What a great match by these two to close out Voltage! Usagi Senshi did everything she could, and to her credit it’s rare to see anybody come close to getting a win over a Hall of Famer like Cameron Ella Ava, but tonight was her night!
Rich Russillo: Yeah! We all know Hikari was watching that match, the only question is whether or not she was actually impressed by what she saw! I know that I sure am!
Persephone: Speaking of Hikari, why isn’t she at.. Oh…
(Cameron Ella Ava slowly rolls off of Usagi Senshi as there’s a mixed reaction from the crowd, but her music does not play just yet. As Cameron gets back up there’s a lot of commotion from the crowd, and once she has her hand raised, she looks out to ringside with a smirk on her face, intending to look directly at Hikari Kanno. This is when she notices that Hikari’s not there, until finally, she turns behind her.)
James Peters: HIKARI KANNO WITH AN ELBOW RIGHT TO CAMERON’S FACE, AND NOW SHE TAKES CAMERON DOWN WITH A DOUBLE LEG TAKEDOWN!!! HIKARI CLEARLY HASN’T FORGOTTEN ABOUT WHAT CAMERON DID LAST WEEK, AND IT LOOKS LIKE SHE PLANS TO GET SOME PAYBACK TONIGHT!!
Rich Russillo: CAMERON IS TRYING TO BLOCK THESE STRIKES FROM HIKARI BUT WHEN YOU’RE AS EXHAUSTED AND HURT AS CAMERON IS FOLLOWING SUCH A PHYSICAL MATCH, EVERYTHING IS GONNA HURT!! CAMERON IS CLEARLY TRYING TO LOOK FOR AN OPENING, BUT HIKARI KANNO IS NOT GIVING CAMERON A CHANCE TO ACT!!
James Peters: Cameron manages to turn around and get on top of Hikari before laying in a few punches, but now Hikari pushes Cameron off of her as both Elitists get back up!
Rich Russillo: CAMERON GOES FOR THE WONDER WOMAN PUNCH, BUT HIKARI DUCKS UNDER IT BEFORE CONNECTING WITH A SPINNING BACKFIST!!! CAMERON ELLA AVA FOLLOWS THIS UP WITH A KICK TO THE MIDSECTION, BUT HIKARI RESPONDS WITH AN UPPERCUT BEFORE KNEEING CAMERON IN THE MIDSECTION, AND AFTER THE BACKSTABBER SHE TOOK EARLIER I DON’T THINK CAMERON CAN HANDLE MORE MOVES LIKE THAT, DROPPING TO A KNEE! HIKARI NOW PULLING CAMERON IN, BEFORE DROPPING HER ONTO THE MAT WITH ALLELUIA!!!
James Peters: This isn’t the way I expected Voltage to end, but I suppose this is a possibility we all should’ve prepared for! Hikari hadn’t made her presence known all throughout the match, so she had to be out here for a reason!
Rich Russillo: Yep.. I didn’t expect it given how exciting the match already is, but things between Hikari and Cameron have become way more interesting.
(Hikari Kanno stands over Cameron Ella Ava, and as the mixed reaction continues, ‘As Long As I Love’ begins to play once more. This is the final shot seen for Voltage, as the camera begins to fade to black.)
(EAW logo buzzes.)
