(EAW intro plays.)
(A recap of last week’s Voltage begins to play. Lucius Crowe, Jamie Cross, Dr. Bethany Blue, Hayley Morrow and Bea Valentine are all seen picking up victories. After the recap, the camera fades to the Antel Arena in Montevideo, Uruguay. ‘33rd Blakk Glass’ by SosMula and Zillakami plays as usual, and after the fans in attendance are seen cheering and the pyro shoots out from the stage, the camera transitions over to the usual commentary team of James Peters, Rich Russillo and Persephone.)
James Peters: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the final Sunday night Voltage before King of Elite! As always I am James Peters, and with me are Rich Russillo and Persephone Tsitsipas.
Rich Russillo: This is bound to be an excellent night. We have some great matches underway, such as-
Persephone: SHUT UP! My Luis is competing tonight, and that’s really all that matters. Everyone else is irrelevant.
(Sunday Night Voltage transitions away from the commentary booth and toward the stage as ‘Soundtrack 2 My Life’ by Kid Cudi begins to blast through the speakers to thunderous cheers. The camera goes over to Alex Myers as they are seen beginning to make their way out to the stage. Dressed in their ring gear to fight Charlie Marr in the main event later tonight, they look focused and driven with a lot on their mind as they begin to make their way down the ramp and toward the ring.)
Bella Braxton: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome… ALEX MYERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Rich Russillo: Well two weeks ago we saw Alex Myers come out on top against Michael Scott Connor and Ruler in a triple-threat King of Elite semifinals matchup. It’s from there that it was revealed that Alex would be the one representing Voltage in the King of Elite finals, with the potential of a World Championship match looming on the horizon if they win.
James Peters: We heard last week from Alex and how much this match means to them, and if they win what it would mean for their career. With the performances that we’ve seen it is clear that next week they are going to make it their mission to excel beyond their capabilities and become something more. That is going to be interesting, to say the least.
Persephone: If this is who we have representing Voltage… we’re doomed.
(Alex makes their way up the steel step and onto the apron, entering the ring before making their way over and taking a microphone from the ringside area. From there, ‘Soundtrack 2 My Life’ begins to come to a close and Alex begins to speak.)
Alex Myers: I’m not coming out here to waste any time. Sunday Night Voltage is my home, and in the King of Elite finals, I will be representing it with the utmost intention of wearing the crown and bringing it home. A lot has been on my mind these past couple of weeks now that I’ve made it to this point, and now I look to lay it all out there in what is going to end up being our last encounter before the match next week. So right now, I want to call out my opponents, Joso and PJ Hendrx, to the ring, and hopefully, we all have an opportunity to speak our minds and understand where the other is coming from.
(Alex lowers his microphone and turns to the stage, and it is not long after that that ‘Exhibit C’ by Jay Electronica is heard playing through the PA system. The crowd cheers loudly as Showdown’s PJ Hendrx is seen making his way out to the stage. He has a smile as he hypes up the fans in attendance, energized and ready to go tonight as he begins to make his way down the ramp and toward the ring.)
Rich Russillo: We saw last week PJ Hendrx in the semifinals of the tournament where he got a huge victory against former National Elite Champion Jon Kelton. PJ has had a lot of eyes on him these past couple of weeks and being in a match like this has the opportunity to put him on the map for certain.
James Peters: He looks to take advantage of everything surrounding his stellar Extreme Elimination Chamber performance and follow that up in a big way. Winning the entire King of Elite tournament and taking a future World Championship opportunity for himself seems to be the perfect way to do it.
Persephone: Oh brother, this guy is a one-hit wonder. He has one good performance and all of a sudden people think he’s Jesus Christ. Give me a break! Nobody cares!
(PJ climbs onto the apron and enters through the ropes and into the ring, he eyes Alex as he makes his way over and takes a microphone from the ringside area, ‘Exhibit C’ beginning to come to a close from there. PJ would then circle around, continuing to scout his future opponent, but it isn’t long… before ‘Trophies’ by Drake begins to follow that. The crowd gives a mixed reaction as the camera goes over to Dynasty’s Joso who is seen strutting out onto the stage. He has a serious look on his face, eyeing the crowd through his sunglasses before then focusing right on the ring, beginning to make his way down not long after.)
Rich Russillo: And as for Joso we saw him two weeks ago come out on top against Hans Grayson to advance to the finals as well. Admittingly he’ll say firsthand that it was not the way that he wanted it to go, with an interference by Jay Jerry Johnson helping him along the way, but that doesn’t seem to have stopped him at all heading into this.
James Peters: Joso is in the finals and he’s going to make sure that he wins it. He’s had a good stretch these couple of months but now it seems he really does want to take things to the next level and reach the World Championship platform that he has aspired for. I have full confidence that he’s able to do that.
Persephone: I don’t… this match stinks.
(Joso makes his way up the steel steps and onto the apron before entering the ring, making his way over and taking a microphone from the ringside area as from there, ‘Trophies’ begins to come to a close. Joso looks at PJ, before directing his eyes at Alex.)
Alex Myers: Hey, little buddy, how long has it been?
(Joso scoffs at this, taking it in a joking manner as he shakes his head. Alex is quick to speak up again, as they look to be the first to get what they have to say off their chest.)
Alex Myers: I was pretty candid in what I had to say the week prior when I had my sit-down interview on Voltage, I got what I needed to say off my chest. But I feel like, especially with the two of you here right now, it needs to be emphasized what it took in order to get to this point. It needs to be put under a microscope the journey that one Alex Myers has had to partake in order to reach the finals. While all of you may have your own individual paths that you have taken to get here, and I’m sure you’ll have a chance to make that known real soon, my personal endeavors through the King of Elite tournament since the start of the year have tested me not only physically, but emotionally. Starting off it was a simple path, and I did not expect much out of what was to inevitably come. But with La Familia taking out some competitors in the bracket and ultimately making the semifinals of it a triple-threat match, I knew it was going to end up being a lot more than I bargained for. I knew that it was not going to be easy to glide by without a second thought. If I was going to win, I was going to have to push myself in a way that I hadn’t done before, especially with the competition that I was facing in mind.
Alex Myers: I can talk about Michael Scott Connor all I want but right now I’d like to shed some light on Ruler, my NICHOLISM partner, my best friend. He and I stepped into this knowing the difficulty that would immediately present itself with facing one another. The questions of if we were willing enough to do it, or better yet, how this would affect us as a team. We immediately established that nothing was going to break the bond of NICHOLISM and that regardless of how we may look at each other before or after the match, we were going to step into it proving just how much we wanted it over the other. We were going to lay it on the line as we have many times before, and one way or another a member of NICHOLISM was going to reach the finals of the tournament. To make a long story short, that person ended up being me. I was the one that made it there and I had to go through my best friend in order to do it. I’m not saying that it gives me special treatment because of that, that it devalues you two either, but I made it this far already. I pushed myself to this point and now that I’m in the finals, there’s no way that I’m going to allow myself to lose, it’s as simple as that.
(Alex lowers their microphone and looks around at the both of them, PJ is quick to be the one to step up as he nods his head in intrigue.)
PJ Hendrx: Iight, Alex, I get where you’re coming from. I understand your journey just as much as I understand Joso’s, and that’s something I been bracing for. You wanna talk about your path to get here, well I’ll say that mind wasn’t easy either. I was out there facing some of Showdown’s best, Elitists who were looking to prove that they wanted it more than me and if I wasn’t on my A-game that night then they were going to take it from me. Just as you talk about your opponents, mine weren’t ones to look over either. Former Champions left and right, it goes without saying that a trip to the Marquee Event wasn’t going to come easy for me. But despite that, I beat them, I beat each and every one of them knowing that if I didn’t then I’d be looked at as a failure, and let’s get one thing straight PJ Hendrx ain’t a failure. I’m a winner, through and through. I’ve been a winner since I first stepped into this company and even now I’m still one. I put my foot on the gas pedal and never looked back and I’d like to think that it’s doing pretty well for me considering the position that I’m in heading into next week.
PJ Hendrx: I knew that these past couple of weeks were not going to be easy as soon as I saw my name on that bracket and that I was going to have to be nothing less than perfection if I even wanted to think about sniffing the finals. So I put the work in, I made sure that there were no holes in my game, and now that I’m here you best believe that I ain’t letting anything get in my way. It started at Road To Redemption, all y’all know the story. I stepped in there and heard a lot of people talking about me just being a body. I was only there to be a stepping stone toward someone else’s success, and when that came through that flipped a switch in me. I knew that I had to work hard and succeed where many thought that I wouldn’t, and it brought me to the final two of the Extreme Elimination Chamber. I changed the game and I was closer to a World Championship than many people not just in this match but in this company can say for themselves, but I ain’t gonna settle for that. Now that I know I can do that, the next thing I need to do is actually get there and be able to call myself a World Champion and that’s where the King of Elite comes in. It gets me one step closer and I’m not going to let the opportunity slip away from me.
(Joso nods his head, impressed at the passion that the other two are giving before he speaks as well.)
Joso: Alright, we talking about journeys? I’ll shed some light on mine as well. I’m not going to say that mine is as elaborate or emotional as yours has been, but what I am going to say is that I’m pretty unhappy with how it’s turned out. Yes, I did expect to reach the finals, from the very beginning, I knew that was what I deserved after everything that had happened this Season. I was working hard and I knew that if I wanted to reach the levels that I desired and truly become the New Era then I needed to take what I did to the next level, just as you both have. The King of Elite was my way to do it, and winning this and moving onto what I feel is my birthright as an Elitist which is becoming a World Champion has been the only thing on my radar these past couple of weeks. Running through the likes of Cody Maverick, BRAE, and Hans Grayson, I’m not going to lie that I’ve been waiting to sink my teeth into something for a minute, especially with how my match against Hans turned out. I’ll call a spade a spade when I say that I’m not too happy about the interference from Jay Jerry Johnson that allowed me to win the match, and if I had the choice that would definitely not be how it ended up turning out.
Joso: But while I could sit here and make a big deal about not winning it my own way, there’s no point in doing that when there’s another way out. From the very beginning, hearing about King of Elite and hearing about this tournament, I knew that this was where I belonged. In a position like this where I am on the cusp of superstardom if everything happens to go right next week, these are situations where I belong. I’m not going to let one mishap define who I am because I know that I am the very best. I have been the very best from the moment that I signed with this company and not once have I let anyone try and take that away from me either. King of Elite is going to be a case of me once again proving why I belong here. Why I belong in this spotlight, why I belong in the main event, why I belong fighting for a World Championship because that’s just who I am. If y’all want to try and combat against that then by all means, but no offense to either of y’all and what you’ve been able to do in this ring, it’s not going to be enough to handle the 100% that I’m going to give inside of the ring once I step in and the bell rings. I am going to be King of Elite one way or another, and if it involves getting past you two to do it, then that’s what it’s going to have to take.
Alex Myers: And I respect that, I really do. There are no other opponents that I would have to face in order to become King of Elite than you two, because I know you, I know your fire, I know your passion, and I know that you would do anything in order to win. But I’ve made it my personal mission to prove that I am better no matter what, simply because I do not have a choice. Joso, you talked about your Season and how it wasn’t up to your standards in terms of what you can do as an Elitist, and the same can be said for me. While NICHOLISM was a start it certainly was not the solution to my problems, because I knew what I needed to do. I knew that from the very beginning, just as you did, that my destiny was being at the top of the mountain. My work feels worthless if it doesn’t end with me being at the peak of this company and that’s not what has been happening this past year. I’ve gotten multiple opportunities to do exactly what I have set out to do, fighting for World Titles before, and even though I know that I can become a World Champion, I’ve come back empty-handed. That’s not who I want to be. I don’t want to be the one that ends up falling short each time they get the opportunity, I need to become World Champion and I need it to be now, which is where the King of Elite comes in.
Alex Myers: I talked about my sacrifice and I do not exaggerate what I’ve had to go through to be here. My partner Ruler could’ve been in this same position, speaking to you right now about why he is going to be King of Elite, but I took that away from him in favor of myself. I know that there are no qualms between the two of us, but I feel like if I do not win next week then my sacrifice will be in vain, and everything that NICHOLISM has worked for will end up meaning nothing in the end. That is not what I want. I have already suffered far too much to make that a reality. My failure in the most crucial moment is not going to happen again, and I am going to manifest my success into a reality when I win the King of Elite crown. If you need further proof then I implore you to watch what is going to happen later in the night when I face EAW World Champion Charlie Marr because what happens in that match is exactly what is going to happen when everything falls into place for me, that much I can say for certain. I knew from the very beginning what I was signing up for, and what it was going to take in order to get there, even with the competition right in front of me, I didn’t back down from that. In fact, I welcome the challenge more than anything.
Joso: That’s right, I’m sure we can all agree that in some shape or form, we welcome the challenge. If it was that easy then we’d all be successful, if it was that easy then I wouldn’t be putting as much effort as I am putting in right now, simple as that. We can say what we want to say, but what we can’t deny is what we’re willing to do in order to win next week at King of Elite. I know who I’m up against, I’m up against two Elitists who have worked very hard to get to the spot that they’re in. Two Elitists who have worked their asses off in order to even be considered in the running for something like this. Nothing was ever handed to any of us, we had to earn it and that is exactly what we have done throughout our careers. Just take it all in for a moment, because moments like these don’t come by often, and part of that is exactly why I’m not letting up. Because while all of you are hard workers, I make sure each week that I am the hardest worker in the room. I leave no doubts surrounding me and my abilities and while it has been a start to get there, a part of me feels like I haven’t done enough to truly accomplish what I desire out of EAW. This is my way of getting there, and if any of you have a problem with that, if any of you want to give yourselves a reason to believe otherwise, then by all means.
Joso: But I promise you that the hype wasn’t for nothing, that’s something that I have proven from the get-go. When I first stepped into this company the hype was surrounding me, I was the New Era before I was even calling myself the New Era. A lot of you wanted to run your mouths and say that it wasn’t worth it, that I was going to end up fading away like the rest of them, but when I won the Interwire Championship as quickly as I did from the longest reigning Champion, then all the noise began to quiet down, right? I did that, and while I could ride on that for the rest of my career and find it in me to somehow be content with it, that isn’t how I operate. Whenever the first part is done I move on to the next, and the next part of the career of Joso is winning a World Championship and continuing to put my name on the map, and the way that starts is by winning the King of Elite tournament, the way that starts is by beating the two of you. I might very well be stepping into the biggest match of my career in South Africa, but I like that. When the pressure is on, that’s when I truly succeed, and you’re going to see exactly why when I get one step closer to what I am destined for and leave you in the dust.
PJ Hendrx: You know what, Joso, you mentioned first titles and I can’t help but step in, because the same can be said for myself. In fact, I won the same title that you did last Season just as quickly as you did upon arrival, and I think it’s safe to say that the hype has continued for me. The difference between you and I is that it never did die down, it didn’t stop because I happened to have a bad run this Season and I couldn’t capitalize, in fact, it continued. As soon as I stepped onto the Saturday Night Showdown brand I made moves, and I put myself on the map when nobody said I would. PJ ain’t this, PJ ain’t that, well as you said, a lot of those voices began to quiet down because I’m here now. I turn my haters into my fans and at King of Elite, they gonna be front row to watch me win it all. My date with Adam Lucas for the Answers World Championship one more time has only been inevitable after what happened at Road To Redemption. My fate has been sealed and my destiny has been intertwined with a World Championship around my waist, and you best believe this ain’t gonna be something I let up on. These types of opportunities are ones that you never know if you’re going to get again, that is why I am going to make the best of it while I have the opportunity.
PJ Hendrx: The goal doesn’t change, just as I won the Interwire Title, not many people are going to be able to say that they’ve won the King of Elite tournament and their first World Title as fast as I have. A lot of people want to slow down after they have all this momentum in their corner because they don’t think they’re ready to take that leap to the next level, but I ain’t gotta do that because I know I have what it takes. I know that even now I have the tools that are necessary in order to be the best in EAW, that’s why I’m here now. That’s why I’m standing here before the two of you instead of watching like every other person that we beat to get here. We earned this against a plethora of opponents who have stepped in our way and as Joso said this is our moment. So I’m not here to let this moment go to waste, not in your wildest dreams. I am here to make history and take my career to new heights, and next week is the perfect way to do that when I beat the two of you. I don’t care the lengths I’m willing to go to, I don’t care what I’m going to have to sacrifice, one way or another I will win the King of Elite and there is going to be absolutely nothing that either of you can do about it.
(PJ smirks while Joso has a serious expression on his face, Alex is seen nodding their head intently as they look up at the two of them.)
Alex Myers: I’m glad you all have a passionate mindset, but rest assured, it’s going to end exactly how I promise it’ll end. After I beat Charlie tonight and give him a warning of exactly who is coming after him should he survive his own match at King of Elite, I will move on next week, and I will take what is mine.
(Alex drops the microphone down to the ground as the three of them find themselves in an intense staredown. Despite the level of respect that they have with one another it has been made apparent that only one of them is going to win an opportunity as big as the King of Elite tournament, with the potential to become a World Champion for the first time in their careers. Who’s it going to be? Next week, they find out. The last shot seen is the crowd in an uproar as Alex, Joso, and PJ stand amongst one another as Sunday Night Voltage begins to fade out to elsewhere.)
(Promotional ad for King of Elite, where the King of Elite finals match will take place.)
(As Voltage would pan back to the ring, Bella Braxton would be standing in the middle of it, microphone at hand.)
(‘From Now On’ by BAND-MAID blared through the speakers as AJ Redding made his way down the ramp, taking in the atmosphere around him. He would pause at the end of the ramp to really soak it all in.)
Bella Braxton: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome… AJ, REDDING!!!
James Peters: I do believe that AJ Redding may have a bright future in EAW. You can see him continue to change and morph into a more established competitor as the weeks go by. Growing more comfortable and being more recognized within his surroundings.
Rich Russillo: I do think however this is a make or break test for what he does next in his career. Speaking in the ring, he definitely has to make sure he gets his statement and point across. But I do share a belief, that won’t be of much difficulty however.
James Peters: When the microphone is in his hand.. It will definitely be interesting to see what he accomplishes!
Persephone: Can we make this quicker?
(AJ Redding was in the ring now, as his theme song died down. He did a small pace around the ring, feeling the ropes and getting a general feel about everything. Before he grabbed a microphone, and began to speak.)
AJ Redding: Who is all ready for King Of Elite next week?
(The crowd gave a reaction displaying excitement, AJ paced around the ring, nodding along. It was an enticing time for EAW. But then he chimed in.)
AJ Redding: I would be a little bit more excited, had my face been plastered more around the event. But it is what it is, at the end of the day. Rightfully, I can reserve further excitement for the next match to come by any means!
(The crowd granted him a perplexing reaction, as his words delivered with contradiction.)
AJ Redding: However, I have all of the intent to continue my growth. As my time on Voltage is already building up, and piling on itself, and it really makes me think to myself “time is going by… like crazy.” And it’s really got me deep in thought, I’m leaving the phase of being a fresh new face in EAW. As I see more people settle in, and or come out of the woodwork. And I know that establishing a hierarchy is important, and showing what pedestal you stand on. I look at the young Elitists on Voltage, and I see they are already making big statements right off the bat. My interest was piqued by two of them, and nonetheless. It goes without saying, I am intrigued by taking battle with Lucius Crowe and Jamie Cross.
(The crowd gave a more amped up reaction as AJ continued to pace around the ring. Anticipating what he was soon to say about the other two on Voltage.)
AJ Redding: I am heavily interested off the back of a match with them, that is ultimately the two that I wish to face, treading into the future. I would like to call them out here right now, so we can discuss these plans right now!
(AJ said confidently as he placed his microphone down, he would then await for the two to arrive at the ring. “Voices” by Motionless In White would ring through the arena first, as Lucius Crowe made his way down the ring. Once he saw AJ Redding call him out, he was just prepared to get to that ring not a second later. He entered the ring, already having a microphone at hand.)
Lucius Crowe: When you called me out, consider me grateful. Because I was going to get that match from you, one way or another. It doesn’t need to be molded down anymore, I want this match.
AJ Redding: Well, any other night. I’d be giving it to you. But I’m already quite occupied with my own battle tonight. But I have no problem taking this up with you when my schedule is cleared.
Lucius Crowe: You know, we got a gap in between King Of Elite, that gives you enough time to prepare and lack excuse. I want this match just as much as you do. I made a few mistakes when we met the first time, but consider those null and void, and you caught yourself a good break. Because that won’t happen, never again.
AJ Redding: Perfect, this all sounds like a wonderful idea. But here’s another thing Lucius, I like the idea of facing you. But again, you weren’t the only elitist on Voltage that I called out. I’d appreciate it if we all filled the ring right now. So we could discuss the plans furthermore.
(AJ lowered the microphone as he was making a clear hint towards Jamie Cross now, and quickly that would be shown. Jamie Cross made her presence felt as “She’s All I Wanna Be” by Tate McRae blared through the speakers. Jamie made her way to the ring, entering as her theme died down. She asked for a microphone, in which she was assisted. As she examined her two competitors in the ring.)
Jamie Cross: You know, I wasn’t sure what to expect when I heard AJ Redding call my name out, but there’s definitely a respective skill gap size between us in the ring, prominently. I say this as we are all 3 on different levels in the ring. Think of it like, I’ve been in EAW for a long time now. I have competed at Pain For Pride, and I have the utmost experience. But you know what? I can commit myself to a triple threat match. Because rightfully, I don’t mind an extra push or two for myself at all. I need to stay ready at all times, as I DON’T want to find myself falling back into the hole I was in during the first half of this season. If it’s a triple threat you want, it’s a triple threat we got. And we have more than just enough time to prepare over King Of Elite weekend, don’t we agree fellas? Cause at my expense, neither of you two will be winning.
Lucius Crowe: That’s good enough for me, I don’t have any problems doing a triple threat. But what I wanna double down on really quick, is how you bring yourself down to this ring and start talking about “at your expense”. You need that extra jolt of motivation to keep yourself on your feet, and I have no problem in being the driving force of that. But this is more than about you having a less than stellar first half of the season. AJ Redding has an advantage over me, and I’m not gonna be able to come and find terms with that, until I can redeem myself and get one over him! We all state a case for this, we don’t need you coming into here and trying to decide how this goes prematurely, but again as I was saying. If we want a triple threat. I don’t have zero problem with it, just going to add more to my resume, and more to build off of.
AJ Redding: Now this is my favorite part. The thrill of it all, here we are exchanging our cases back and forth. We are all giving an explanation as to why we deserve to win. I processed this, as calling you guys to the ring, I was definitely prepared for it, as we all continue to state our case for winning. I just want to say that this contest will be decided by who is in their head the most. And who has the most to lose. You both have a lot to lose in this match, as Lucius is out to get one over me, and Jamie is out to prove some grounds. But I like it when things have as high stakes as this. Just make sure you two don’t allow that to be your downfall. And overall, may the best competitor in this match win. Because I’m going to bring everything to the plate. And I hope that you all can use your week of preparation well. I know I will as well.
Lucius Crowe: (off-mic) Bet your ass I will.
Jamie Cross: (off-mic) As will I…
(With that stated, AJ Redding would be the first to leave the ring, after he made his statement official. He would give them a final goodbye, as Lucius Crowe was then next to follow, he kept his focus on Jamie Cross as he climbed out of the ring, trying to be weary in case a cheap shot could come at any time. Finally Jamie was the only one left in the ring, and that was her cue to exit. The ring emptied out now, as all competitors set up a future triple threat, and the scene fades from there into a commercial break.)
(Promotional ad for King of Elite, where Dr. Bethany Blue faces Solomon Stane.)
(The camera cuts to a local female talent inside the ring, bouncing around as she prepares for her upcoming match, looking focused.)
Bella Braxton: THE FOLLOWING CONTEST IS SCHEDULED FOR… ONE FALL!!
Crowd: ONE FALL!!
Bella Braxton: Introducing first! Already in the ring! Hailing out of Montevideo, Uruguay, weighing in at 115 pounds…JAZZY JANE!
(Jazzy taunts in the ring, getting a hometown pop from fans before ‘Sweet Dreams’ by Eurythmics plays out Harper Lee, who walks onto the stage with a slight smirk on her face, confident about her chances when looking at Jazzy before sauntering down to the ring.)
Bella Braxton: And her opponent! Residing out of Charlotte, North Carolina, weighing in at 118 pounds…SHE IS THE WORST WOMAN IN THE WORLD…HARPER LEE!!
James Peters: Well, Harper doesn’t exactly look to be sweating her competition.
Rich Russillo: I mean, she’s always been confident, but tonight, that confidence appears to be at an all time high
Persephone: As it should be. Really, I could get in there, and beat that nerd. Seriously, where does EAW find these people?
James Peters: Apparently, right here in Montev-
Persephone: I heard the announcement, you moron.
James Peters: :whoa:
(Harper enters the ring, and stands opposite to Jazzy, removing her entrance jacket as the referee signals for the bell.)
(DING! DING! DING!)
James Peters: Well, the bell has rung, and this’ll be interesting as Harper Lee takes on Jazzy Jane.
Persephone: You’re using that word “interesting” real loosely.
James Peters: Hey, I don’t want to count anybody out. We’ve seen upsets happen here in Elite Answers Wrestling.
Persephone: Oh, shut up. This isn’t the same, and you know it.
James Peters: :kyrie:
Rich Russillo: Well, turning our attention to the in-ring action, both Harper and Jazzy exit their corners to start things off, closing the distance for a collar and elbow tie- NO! JAZZY ROLLS HARPER UP WITH A SCHOOL GIRL!
ONNNNNNNEEEEEEEEE!!
TWWWWWWOOOOOOOOO!!
James Peters: KICKOUT! BOTH COMPETITORS SCRAMBLE BACK TO THEIR FEET, AND JAZZY CHARGES HARPER WITH A VICTORY ROLL!
ONNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEE!!
TWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOO!!
Rich Russillo: AGAIN, ANOTHER TWO COUNT AS HARPER MANAGES TO KICKOUT! LEE ATTEMPTS A RUNNING CLOTHESLINE- BUT ITS COUNTERED INTO A CRUCIFIX PIN!
ONNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEE!!
TWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOO!!
James Peters A THIRD KICKOUT BY LEE! Harper pulls herself up in the corner, and Jazzy comes marching toward her- OOH! Only to eat a kick to the gut, and Harper sends Jane into the corner!
Persephone: I already thought Harper was ass, but had she let this loser dominate her anymore, that would’ve taken it to an entirely different level.
Rich Russillo: Harper’s arrogance nearly came to bite her early on, BUT NOW THE AGGRESSION HAS BEEN UPPED AS SHE BEGINS PUMMELING POOR JAZZY IN THE CORNER, BEATING HER DOWN TO A KNEE AS SHE ATTEMPTS TO COVER UP!
James Peters: The referee intervenes, pulling Lee away from Jane, creating slight separation between the two before Harper jukes past him, aiming to get right back at Jane- BUT WALKS RIGHT INTO A BACK ELBOW! Lee shrugs it off, but walks right into a BIG BOOT THIS TIME! Harper staggers to the center of the ring, and Jane comes charging out!
Rich Russillo: JAZZY TRIED FOR ANOTHER VICTORY ROLL, BUT GOT CAUGHT THIS TIME WITH A WHEELBARROW FACEBUSTER! HARPER PULLS JAZZY UP BY THE HAIR, AND POPS HER WITH THE DRAGON FIST! BIG RIGHT HOOK, AND LEE MAKES THE COVER!
ONNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEE!!
TWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOO!!
THHHHHRRRRRREEEEEEEE-
Persephone: What? Why would this dumb bitch do that?
James Peters: Harper just pulled Jane’s head off the mat, signaling she isn’t done, and pulls her up to a vertical base. Lee then PLANTS Jazzy with Ragnarok! The Olympic Slam connects, and Harper makes another cover, hooking the leg!
ONNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEE!!
TWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOO!!
THHHHHH-
Persephone: Oh, for fucks sake…
Rich Russillo: Lee has broken up her own cover for a second time, lifting Jane’s head off the mat, and decides to roll her over. Now, Harper starts to REPEATEDLY slam Jane FACE FIRST off the canvas.
(Afterward, Harper holds Jane’s face up to the camera, Jane being visibly out of it. The crowd are showering Lee with boos at the moment.)
James Peters: Finally, Harper pulls Jane up from behind, and nails her with the BACKSTABBER! House of Balloons connects, and Lee shoots the half for a cover!
ONNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEE!!
TWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOO!!
THHHHHHHRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEE!!
(DING! DING! DING!)
Stephie Love: HERE’S YOUR WINNER… HARPER LEE!
(‘Sweet Dreams’ by Eurythmics plays to loud boos from the audience, which Harper Lee ignores as she rises to her feet, having her hand raised in victory while Jazzy writhes in pain on the mat.)
James Peters: Harper Lee is victorious, and… I can’t say I’m surprised about that.
Rich Russillo: Lee is a former two-time Tag Team Champion, Specialists Champion, and Universal Women’s Champion. Of course, Jazzy was gonna be outmatched, but! Did Lee have to inflict that extra damage towards the end there?
Persephone: Who cares? It’s over!
(Harper Lee pulls Jazzy up to a vertical base, and dumps her out through the middle rope before demanding a mic, which she’s quickly handed by a stagehand on the outside.)
James Peters: Well, the match is over, but Lee appears to have something to say.
(Harper walks to the center of the ring as “Sweet Dreams” fades in the background. Lee repeatedly taps on the microphone, making sure it’s on, which annoys the fans as the sound echoes throughout the arena before she begins speaking.)
Harper Lee: Wow, that was easy, and a prime example that some people should really not be allowed in a wrestling ring, especially with a dumb name like Jazzy Jane of all things. :mjlol: But enough about her, because I have more important matters to focus on, as it pertains to my match at King of Elite where I’ll be facing Jamie O’Hara, and Cameron Ella Ava. Two people that I absolutely despise. But you know what I despise more? Dead weight. Which is why I had to drop Sierra Bradford, and most recently, Holly Arrow. Because let’s be honest, they were holding me back. So, ARIA, I need to make sure that we’re on the same page, and at King of Elite, you’re not gonna hold me back like they did. With that being said, I’m calling you out to this ring. Now.
(Harper turns toward the stage, awaiting the arrival of ARIA. But a little time passes, and Harper quickly grows annoyed.)
Harper Lee: Hellooo. 🙄 What part of “now” did you not get? I don’t have all da-
(Harper throws her arms up in frustration at being cut off by ‘Freewill’ by Roisee. Now, not only annoyed at being made to wait, but also at being interrupted. ARIA marches down the ring, wearing her entrance attire for later tonight, looking a bit surprised by the sudden call out made by Lee.)
James Peters: Ask, and you shall receive. ARIA shocked the world last week by volunteering to be Harper Lee’s partner.
Persephone: I mean, yeah, who’d actually WANT to be her partner?
James Peters: Apparently, ARIA.
Rich Russillo: And if you ask me, Lee should be a bit nicer with her tone, given she doesn’t have a long list of people lining up to be her partner past ARIA.
(ARIA enters the ring, and reaches through the middle rope to receive a microphone before turning to face Lee in the ring as ‘Freewill’ by Roisee fades in the background.)
ARIA: Alright, what is it? Why’d you call me out here?
Harper Lee: Really, it’s simple. At King of Elite, I can’t have you screwing things up for me. So, were you watching my match just now?
(ARIA gives Lee the “duh” expression.)
Harper Lee: Good. Wasn’t I dominant?
(ARIA shrugs like “I guess.”)
Harper Lee: That’s exactly how I need you to be. At the top of your game, like I am, and I won’t settle for anything less.
ARIA: Harper-
(‘Kashmir’ by Led Zeppelin (Paratus Intro) interrupts ARIA now, and Lee turns toward the stage area, standing alongside ARIA as Jamie O’Hara exits through the curtain, receiving a loud pop from fans. Jamie is wearing a t-shirt over his ring gear, and stays put on the stage, awaiting the arrival of his wife, Cameron Ella Ava, who comes out to ‘Good For Her’ by MOTHICA featuring emlyn, getting an equally loud reaction from fans as things start to heat up. Cameron is wearing her casual attire, and holding two microphones in hand, one which she hands to Jamie as the two begin marching down to the ring.)
Persephone: I already have to see them later tonight. Now, I have to see them twice?
James Peters: Hey, for most, this is a pleasant surprise, seeing these four stand in the same ring together before King of Elite arrives.
Persephone: For most, sure. For me, no.
Rich Russillo: :wow:
(Jamie holds the ropes for Cameron to enter before getting in the ring himself, and both teams stand face-to-face as ‘Good For Her’ by MOTHICA featuring emlyn fades in the background. The crowd is electric, chanting for both teams to fight, but Cameron speaks into the microphone instead.)
Cameron Ella Ava: Trust me, you’ll get to see Jamie and ARIA fight later on.
(The crowd cheers, excited for that match.)
Cameron Ella Ava: Speaking of… ARIA, you’re the exact reason I’m out here right now. Look, you’re a grown woman, you can make your own decisions, but I’m here to warn you, because teaming with Harper Lee is a bad one. It won’t end well for you. Either you lose to us at King of Elite, wind up another name that she’s turned her back on, or both. But while we’re on the topic, let’s talk about the people that Harper has turned her back on, shall we?
(Harper rolls her eyes.)
Cameron Ella Ava: What was it she said earlier? First, it was Sierra Bradford. Harper attempted to rip her tongue out with pliers. Then it was Holly Arrow, who Harper backstabbed after losing the Unified Tag Team Titles, and those were people that Lee considered friends. Imagine what she’ll do to someone that isn’t her friend, ARIA, and you’re no stranger to being stabbed in the back. Hell, that’s what Usagi Senshi did to you. Harper is no better than people like her.
(Harper Lee has seemingly had enough, and fires back.)
Harper Lee: Oh, will you shut it? So, I’ve turned on people. Big deal. Long as ARIA doesn’t disappoint me like they did, then that won’t be her. Now, I don’t recall calling you out here, Cameron, nor did I ask for your husband to tag along either. It was just a conversation between me and ARIA. None of your business.
Cameron Ella Ava: You’re right, it was none of our business, but we made it our business. ARIA, I tried to warn you. Whether or not you take my advice, that’s up to you, but whatever happens at King of Elite, at least no one can consider us the bad guys if you wind up getting hurt.
Harper Lee: Only people getting hurt are you two, because did you see the quick work I made of my opponent tonight? That’s what you can expect come King of Elite.
Cameron Ella Ava: Is either one of us meant to be scared? Yeah, Harper, it’s impressive that you can dominate some random EAW picked up off the streets. But come King of Elite, you’re facing two of the most decorated competitors in this entire company.
Harper Lee: You know what-
ARIA: Enough. Cameron, I don’t need you to come out here, and help “steer me in the right direction.” Look, I’m fully aware of the decision that I made last week, and the possible dangers that come with it. But Harper needs help, and I’m giving it to her, because no one else around here will. Besides, Cameron Ella Ava, and Jamie O’Hara are the exact people I’m looking to share a ring with, especially on the marquee, because you said it. You’re two of the most decorated competitors in the company right now. You’re EAW Hall of Famers. Imagine what a win over you can do for me. Well, that could elevate my career to new heights. That could give me another crack at the Universal Women’s Championship, or even the Answers World Championship. So, if teaming with Harper Lee for one night only brings me closer to those things, then I’ll do exactly that. I’ll team with Harper Lee, and at King of Elite, we’re going to beat you two.
(Jamie cracks a smirk, which Harper Lee picks up on.)
Harper Lee: Something funny over there, Jamie? Ya know, you’ve been awfully quiet.
Jamie O’Hara: Well, yes, something is funny. It’s the thought of you two defeating us at King of Elite. You’re outmatched in just about… every way possible. You don’t like each other. Harper, you can’t trust as far as you can throw her. As Cam said-
James Peters: OOH! HARPER LEE JUST NAILED JAMIE WITH THE MICROPHONE, SENDING HIM OUT THROUGH THE MIDDLE ROPE! BUT JAMIE ISN’T TAKING THAT LYING DOWN, AND DRAGS HARPER OUT UNDERNEATH THE BOTTOM ROPE!
Rich Russillo: JAMIE NAILS LEE WITH RIGHTS AS SHES PINNED UP AGAINST THE APRON, NOWHERE TO GO! HARPER DOES HER BEST TO COVER UP, BUT O’HARA IS UNRELENTING! MEANWHILE, INSIDE THE RING-
James Peters: ARIA TRIED CHARGING AT CAMERON, BUT GOT DOUBLED FOR HER EFFORTS! AND NOW, CAMERON MOUNTS HER WITH RIGHTS! ARIA PUSHES HER OFF, AND BOTH WOMEN SCRAMBLE BACK TO THEIR FEET!
Rich Russillo: SUPERKICK! A STUNNED CAMERON BOUNCES OFF THE ROPES, AND EATS ANOTHER SUPERKICK! CAMERON IS DOWN, AND ARIA STALKS HER FROM THE CORNER, LINING HER UP FOR GOD SHATTERING STAR!
James Peters: BUT ON THE OUTSIDE, HARPER SHOVES JAMIE BACK, AND TRIES SLIDING BACK INTO THE RING! BUT JAMIE GRABS HER BY THE ANKLE, AND DRAGS HER BACK OUT! BIG FOREARM STAGGERS HARPER LEE, WHO TRIES CREATING SOME SPACE FROM JAMIE!
Rich Russillo: INSIDE THE RING, ARIA CHARGES FOR THAT BUSAIKU KNEE AT CAM- BUT RUNS RIGHT INTO A WONDER WOMAN PUNCH! THAT BIG FOREARM SMASH FLOORS ARIA, WHO CRAWLS TO THE CORNER, AND IS ON THE RECEIVING END OF STOMPS BY AVA, WHO HAS REGAINED THE ADVANTAGE!
(On the outside, Harper Lee scoots back against the steel steps, trying to beg Jamie off, who is closing in.)
James Peters: OOH! LEE JUST GRABBED JAMIE BY THE TRUNKS FOR LEVERAGE, SENDING HIM FACE FIRST INTO THE STEEL STEPS! HARPER JUST SUCCESSFULLY BAITED O’HARA IN, AND SENDS HIM UP AND OVER THE BARRICADE BEFORE SLIDING BACK INTO THE RING!
Rich Russillo: FROM BEHIND, LEE GRABS HOLD OF CAMERON, PULLING HER TO THE CENTER OF THE RING, AND CONNECTING WITH THE BACKSTABBER! HOUSE OF BALLOONS LANDS FOR A SECOND TIME TONIGHT! THIS TIME, ON CAMERON ELLA AVA!
Persephone: Is it over?
James Peters: Well, it appears so. The dust has settled, and standing tall is Harper Lee and ARIA, having incapacitated both Jamie AND Cameron.
(Harper notices ARIA seated in the corner, shaking the cobwebs out of her head, and approaches. Lee extends her hand, helping ARIA up in the corner, but doesn’t leave without saying a few words.)
Harper Lee: (off-mic) Later on, your match with Jamie, don’t let me down tonight. Remember, you volunteered for this match, and I’m not going to lose it.
(‘Sweet Dreams’ by Eurythmics plays as Harper exits the ring, leaving ARIA behind, who watches Lee head to the back as the camera fades to a commercial.)
(Commercial for Fortnite: Battle Royale with Ronan Malosi.)
(Sunday Night Voltage returns from a commercial break as ‘From Now On’ by BAND-MAID is heard through the PA system. AJ Redding is seen preparing inside of the ring from his previous segment, putting a confident smile on his face. He looks brightly out to the crowd before Bella Braxton is shown standing by.)
Bella Braxton: THE FOLLOWING TRIPLE THREAT CONTEST IS SCHEDULED FOR ONE FALL!
Crowd: ONE FALL!
Bella Braxton: INTRODUCING FIRST!… FROM AUCKLAND, NEW ZEALAND!… WEIGHING IN AT 213 POUNDS!… VISION OF THE FUTURE!!!!!!!…. A!.. J!… REDDINGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
( ‘PA’ ROMPERLA’ by Bad Bunny & Don Omar hits as Luis De La Rosa walks out with swagger, showcasing a cheeky smile as he blows a kiss to the camera and to the crowd before heading to the ring, knowing that this will be his win tonight )
Bella Braxton: NEXT!… REPRESENTING LA FAMILIA!… FROM HIDALGO, MEXICO!… WEIGHING IN AT 170 POUNDS!… THIS IS!… LUISSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!… DE!… LA!… ROSAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
( As both men have entered the ring, ‘DESPERADO’ by ALI can now be heard playing throughout the arena loud as Akari Kiyoko walks out and looks around, showing a serious face. It’s his first time in EAW as he keeps his confidence up and focuses on this match before heading into the ring. )
Bella Braxton: AND LAST!… MAKING HIS EAW DEBUT!… FROM AOMORI, JAPAN!… WEIGHING IN AT 187 POUNDS!…. THE HOPEFUL SOUL!!!!!!!!…. AKARIIIIIIIII!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!… KIIIIIYYYYYYYOOOOOOOOOOKKKKKKKOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
( DING DING DING! )
Rich Russillo: Another battle between newcomers that we get to have them on the show is on its way! AJ Redding is set to be taking on Akari Kiyoko, who is making his fresh debut here tonight on Voltage, and Roberto De La Rosa, representing La Familla! Luis has his match coming up at King of Elite as well, so this is a good opportunity for him to prove his strength. AJ is making a move first and focusing on both men; Akari seems to have the same idea, while Luis is also looking to join both men together… before rolling to the outside!
Persephone: Yes! Like that! Super smart move! Who would let themselves collaborate with a bunch of idiots first? We have to make sure we get things down right first on our own! Go Luis!
James Peters: Luis has been seen rolling on the outside and letting both men put up a fight against each other down there; we are going to see how this will soon turn out. AJ cocks the hammerstrike on the back and leaves Akari dropping to his knees! AJ now seizes Akari and tries to send him down by the ropes, but Akari takes a turn to be the one sending him down there instead! Akari with a dropkick to both legs, sending AJ dropping to his knees! Akari now on his feet, running down to the ropes! Taken down by Luis, dragging Akari down through the ropes, underneath the bottom one, down to the outside before sending him crashing down to the barricade right away!
Persephone: THAT’S RIGHT, BABY!
Rich Russillo: Luis rolls back into the ring with AJ, seizing both feet and aiming to cock his forearm, but Luis manages to intercept him before slamming him with his own, sending AJ tumbling back into the corner. AJ stumbles down, while Luis dashes forward, trying to execute the Dropkick to take AJ down! AJ evades, and Luis backflips out of the corner instead, leaving AJ searching for a German Suplex after the backflip lands! Luis halts it just in time, pivots around, and stands tall right behind AJ, attempting the German Suplex, sending him flying over instead!
James Peters: AJ with the back elbow to the side of his neck and leaving Luis no chance but to let his hold go. AJ turning back, landing some powerful shots of forearm, followed by a quick rolling elbow and now Luis is stunned! AJ now turning Luis around, shoving his head right in and attempting for the Dragon Sleeper to put Luis out!
Rich Russillo: Luis there flipping himself over his shoulders instead and now becoming the one locking AJ right into the Dragon Sleeper on his own, a strategic move trying to be utilized by Luis down there!
Persephone: This is the epitome of generational talent right here, but I mean, it’s Luis De La Rosa, let’s be honest here for a second. He’s handcrafted by La Familla- No, actually, he’s crafted himself and his skills on his own. His talent belongs solely to him and not to anybody else, so let’s make it obvious just how bright his future is by standing here as one of the best to ever exist.
James Peters: Luis there trying to put him down with a Sleeper hold just like that but here comes Akari, he just rolls back into the ring and nails the Jumping Knee Smash to the side of Luis’ head, he couldn’t even see it coming! Luis lets him go and Akari takes a quick turn to flip the table, seizing Luis in and now!…. EXPLODER SUPLEX TAKES DOWN LUIS!
Persephone: How dare you let this idiot back into the ring and hurt my husbando like that? This kid thinks he’s special, huh? Well, he better watch himself before I get into the ring and smack the shit out of him like he’s never been smacked before!
Rich Russillo: uis has been brought down by Akari, whose sole focus is tossing back to AJ, who’s still in the ring trying to shake off the effects from the Dragon Sleeper that he had been ensnared in earlier. Akari takes a confident step forward, aiming to bring AJ down with another powerful Knee Smash!
James Peters: AJ manages to intercept the knee just in the nick of time before getting struck on the side of his head by the impending kick from Akari! AJ stumbles back, and Akari promptly seizes AJ this time!.. A DOUBLE UNDERHOOK DDT AND THERE’S A COVER!
ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Rich Russillo: KICK OUT BY AJ!
James Peters: The Double Underhook DDT is indeed a fantastic move that Akari has been showcasing lately. The rising star is looking to shine even brighter, and now he seems to be grabbing AJ’s arm down there, still on both knees before untangling it out and applying some pressure just down there to put his opponent under his control!… FUJIWARA ARMBAR SYNCS I-
Rich Russillo: A RUNNING SHIN KICK TAKES AKARI OUT!
Persephone: YES! THIS IS WHAT I NEED!
Rich Russillo: Luis is back, and he’s back with a vengeance this time! Luis storms into the ring, and the first thing on his agenda is to take down Akari before he can make a move. Meanwhile, AJ is still down on the mat. Luis wastes no time in seizing the opportunity, swiftly sending AJ flying into the corner and following up with a perfectly executed dropkick. As AJ reels from the impact, Luis capitalizes on the moment!… He executes a SNAP SUPLEX AND DOWN GOES AJ!
Persephone: HEY HEY HEY, FOCUS GUYS! HE’S NOT DONE YET!
James Peters: Luis is there, picking himself up, just right back on his feet as quickly as possible and taking it all in while AJ is down there, now setting himself up for the bigger move that could just be better than it already was!… A STANDING MOONSAULT INTO A COVER!
ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Rich Russillo: AKARI JUMPS BACK INTO THE FRAY TO BREAK IT UP!
Persephone: He’s bouncing back too quickly; that’s gotta be concerning, but let’s talk about what’s actually so much more important than that guy who just got back in. Luis’ moonsault. Do you see just how picture-perfect that is? Have you ever seen, in all the years of wrestling, that someone could land such a beautiful, monumental move as flawlessly as Luis has done it? I haven’t seen anyone come close, and Luis has become the one to finally pull it off and make his mark in wrestling history. Come on, man, let’s be real, he should have earned everything he deserves!
James Peters: You might have a point, but that’s a bit too much chatter, especially for Luis De La Rosa when we should be focusing on the match first! Anyway, Luis still maintains control in this bout with Akari just getting back to his feet. Luis turns back around, landing a solid right hand, sending Akari tumbling back down into the corner.
Rich Russillo: Luis wastes no time charging with a powerful right kick straight down, shaking the gut, leaving Akari staggering. Luis now seizes the moment, grappling Akari just outside on the fore and aiming to capitalize!…. STUN GUN ON THE ROPE!
James Peters: Akari then has a small space to breathe right after the Stun Gun has been wielded, Luis making his way down, rushing to the ropes directly after the shot has been planted and bouncing just right back from the ropes!… A SUDDEN DISCUS LARIAT TURNS LUIS INSIDE OUT!
Persephone: HEY, WHO LET THIS GUY BACK IN????
Rich Russillo: AJ has just cut off Luis’ momentum, and now he’s lifting Luis back away from the ground, picking up a new set of fans, and now he’s looking to put him down with the Chernobyl Bomb! He’s setting up for his own Tiger Driver, but Akari is not going to let that happen just yet.
James Peters: He’s been on the sidelines, waiting for his moment, and then Akari nails a quick kick right into his gut, forcing AJ to drop Luis and seizing the opportunity himself!… UP TO THE ROPES AND COMES DOWN!… A SPRINGBOARD TORNADO DDT BY KIYOKO!
Rich Russillo: OH WAIT! LUIS JUST PUSHES AKARI AWAY DOWN TO THE OUTSIDE OF THE RING, AND THERE GOES A COVER ON AJ! LUIS IS LOOKING TO PICK UP A WIN AND SEAL IT RIGHT OUT FOR JUST A MATCH! HE’S HERE TO MAKE HIS MARK, AND IT ALL BOILS DOWN RIGHT THERE! LUIS IS GOING TO TAKE IT AWAY!
Persephone: LET’S GO! COUNT COUNT!
ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Persephone: YOU GOTTA BE KIDDING ME!??!?!?!
James Peters: AKARI IS ABLE TO GET BACK TO HIS FEET JUST IN TIME, AND HE’S THE ONE DRAGGING LUIS OUT OF THERE BEFORE SENDING HIM CRASHING DOWN TO THE BARRICADE INSTEAD RIGHT BEFORE LUIS COULD HAVE DONE ANYTHING WITH THE VICTORY!
Rich Russillo: The count of three hasn’t been reached just yet with Akari intercepting, and now he’s the one going back into the ring, seizing AJ right back from the ground, and he’s setting up for the Calf Killer!
James Peters: AJ has become the one rolling backward right up to his feet, taken aback, and just picking Akari right back up from the ground, hooking both arms and attempting for the Tiger Driver again but once again, Akari is the one sticking his arm just out and seizing AJ right back in instead, throwing him over and hitting the Exploder Suplex!
Persephone: Why do I need to watch these frauds watching and fighting each other? Can I get Luis back into the match already?
Rich Russillo: Luis back into the ring, Akari is able to catch him just in time and using AJ as a stepping stone… HOPPING OVER AND TAKING DOWN LUIS BEFORE LANDING THE JUMPING KNEE ACROSS THE FACE OF LUIS DE LA ROSA!
James Peters: How the hell did he do that? Luis falls to the ground, Akari has been putting that work just right in, and he’s the one getting back to his feet faster than anybody that has ever done in this competition so far and focusing on AJ before having him off from the ground!… LOCKED AJ IN TIGHTLY FOR A GUILLOTINE CHO-
Rich Russillo: WAIT, BUT AJ JUST MANAGED TO PUSH HIS WAY OUT OF THE HOLD AND HOISTED AKARI ONTO HIS SHOULDER INSTEAD. AKARI’S CAUGHT OFF GUARD THIS TIME, AND AJ NOW SENDS AKARI FLYING INTO THE SKY AS AJ GOES FOR IT!…. SIT OUT BLUE THUNDER BOMB!
Persephone: LUIS??? YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Rich Russillo: Luis De La Rosa is back in action, and he’s on his feet, scooping up AJ right after that Blue Thunder Bomb. Luis is heading straight for the corner, wasting no time and keeping his goals as clear-cut as they already are!… LAWN DART THROW LANDS! CHOQUE DE ESQUINA! INTO A COVER! LUIS IS GOING FOR A VICTORY!
ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
THREE-
Persephone: YES!
James Peters: AJ KICKS OUT! AJ DOES IT!
Persephone: Oh, come on, I thought that was it! Do we really have to keep dragging through this match? AJ wasn’t even putting in half the effort Luis was! Okay, that’s enough, Luis! Hammering him down! This is the moment, let’s just finish it all right here!
James Peters: Luis isn’t going to wait any longer anymore, heading all the way up on top, and there he goes, having his back and everything he’s got! Luis is up on his feet, and AJ isn’t moving! Akari could still be staying still, trying to get back up to his feet, but Luis isn’t waiting—he’s making a leap!
Rich Russillo: DESTRIPADA!!!!!
Persephone: DESTRIPADA!!!!!
James Peters: A DOUBLE KNEE STRIKE IN THE MID-AIR! Akari has managed to get to his feet just in time to halt that before flopping right back onto the ground! Wow, what an incredible match we’ve witnessed so far, and it’s still unfolding! Luis is down, AJ is down, and Akari is down as well. We’re on the edge of our seats, eagerly anticipating who’s striving to emerge tonight as the victor! This three-way has been a super awesome match!
Rich Russillo: Akari is struggling to get back up to his feet, he knows that this match is in reach but despite that he has had a lot taken out of him right now. AJ is recovering as well while on the other hand Luis is rolling out of the ring, not wanting anything to do with this match after being hit like that.
James Peters: OR SO WE THOUGHT! BECAUSE LUIS HAS AJ BY THE LEG AND HE YANKS HIM OUT OF THE RING! Luis grabs a hold of him and begins to drive repeated punches into his face, but AJ is beginning to gain some ground himself as he sends some back, BEFORE GRABBING LUIS AND RAMMING HIM AGAINST THE EDGE OF OUR ANNOUNCERS TABLE!
Persephone: I can smell him. 🫠
Rich Russillo: Luis gives a cry of pain but manages to shove AJ away, AJ rushing forward again… JUST FOR LUIS TO BOOT HIM IN THE ABDOMEN AND SLAM HIS FACE DOWN ON THE FRONT OF THE TABLE! AJ bounces off and turns around… JUST FOR AKARI TO LEAP THROUGH THE MIDDLE ROPE AND DROP HIM WITH A SUICIDE DIVE! Akari pops right back up and grabs AJ before rolling him in the ring, as he turns a recovering Luis around and begins to send hard forearm shots to his face! BUT LUIS WITH A KNEE TO THE ABDOMEN! He grabs a hold of Akari, LIFTING HIM OFF OF THE GROUND AND CONNECTING WITH A RELEASE BACK SUPLEX ON THE APRON BEFORE PUSHING HIM BACK INTO THE RING!
(Luis spreads his arms out in an arrogant manner, under the belief that he has plenty of time. His eyes catch someone though and it completely takes him off of his game.)
Luis De La Rosa: (Off-Mic) Hola mami. 😘
Persephone: Me???
(Luis makes his way over to the commentary table, leaning against it as Persephone begins to profusely sweat.)
Luis De La Rosa: (Off-Mic) You like what you see? As co-Hardcore Champion you have to put en la obra.
Persephone: I… luh- luh- luh- luh- love… what I’m seeing…
Rich Russillo: :roman:
James Peters: :roman:
Luis De La Rosa: (Off-Mic) That’s nice… just wait until I get this win though.
Rich Russillo: INSIDE THE RING IT LOOKS LIKE SOMEONE ELSE IS GOING TO STEAL IT FROM HIM! AJ HAS AKARI SET UP FOR ‘CHERNOBYL BOMB’! THE TIGER DRIVER TO AKARI!
James Peters: BUT AKARI HAS FLIPPED OUT OF IT! HE ROLLS AJ INTO AN INSIDE CRADLE PIN!
Persephone: HONEY! HONEY! THAT IDIOT IS STEALING YOUR WIN!
Luis De La Rosa: (Off-Mic) Wha- Oh no.
OOONNNEEE!!!
Rich Russillo: LUIS IS SLIDING INTO THE RING! THIS IS NOT A TURN HE ANTICIPATED!
TTTTWWWWOOOO!!!!
James Peters: LUIS LEAPS AND TRIES TO BREAK UP THE PIN!
Persephone: PLEASEEEEEE!!!!!
TTTTTTHHHHHRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!
…
…
…
Persephone: NOOOOOOOO!!!!!
(DING! DING! DING!)
(‘DESPERADO’ begins to play through the speakers as Akari Kiyoko is right out of the ring. Luis De La Rosa is about a hair away from grabbing him but he’s too late as Akari on the outside is on his feet, a smile as he raises his hand in victory.)
Bella Braxton: HERE IS YOUR WINNER… AKARI KIYOKO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Rich Russillo: WOW! What a way to get the win in your debut! Against two Elitists that are very formidable, Akari managed to take advantage of all of this and turn the tides to get the quick victory.
Persephone: I failed him…
James Peters: Akari has made a statement heading into his debut and I don’t think he’s going to let up! What a match this has been and congratulations to Akari on the win!
(Akari makes his way up the ramp as Luis is shouting at him inside of the ring, angered that this could have possibly happened. It’s the last shot seen before Sunday Night Voltage from there begins to fade to elsewhere.)
(Commercial for the game Palworld, the highly popular game which definitely didn’t copy Pokemon.)
(The camera cuts to Bella Braxton in the ring.)
Bella Braxton: The following contest is scheduled for one fall!
Crowd: ONE FALL!!!
(‘Voices’ by Motionless In White hits to boos from the crowd.)
Bella Braxton: Introducing first from Santa Maria, Texas he is “The Bounty Hunter” LUCIUSSSSSSSSSSSSSS CRRRRRRRRRRRRRRROWEEEEEE!!!
(Lucius Crowe makes his entrance to the ring wearing a poncho with a mean scowl across his face. He enters the ring as he gets ready to collect on his latest bounty.)
Rich Russillo: Lucius Crowe has made some statements in recent weeks and is determined to become one of Voltage’s most feared men.
James Peters: The Bounty Hunter is not one to be taken lightly that is for sure. We will see if his opponent can avoid being his latest victim here tonight.
( ‘ballad of a homeschooled girl’ by Olivia Rodrigo hits to boos from the crowd.)
Bella Braxton: And his opponent from Cancun, Mexico she is “El Alma de la Familia” BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRIANA HILLLLLLLLL!!!!!
(Brianna Hill makes her way down to the ring wearing a La Familia t-shirt and ignoring the boos from the crowd clearly not getting much fan support here tonight.)
Rich Russillo: Brianna Hill has become much more ruthless and lethal since joining La Familia. This group has taken Voltage hostage and has much of our wrestlers and staff fearing for their lives and safety backstage.
James Peters: Unfortunately it is not just the backstage attacks where La Familia is so ruthless and dangerous. They are a force to be reckoned with inside the ring as well as I am sure that Lucius Crowe will soon find out.
(DING! DING! DING!)
Rich Russillo: The match is now underway as Lucius Crowe and Brianna Hill look to have a great match here and I really can’t say how this thing is going to go. Both competitors go face to face in the ring before locking up as they fight for position here at the start of the match. Eventually they break up as they shove each other back up against the ropes before getting right back into it locking up once more. It looks like Lucius might be overpowering Brianna here but she is not backing down at all to her credit. Lucius fighting and shoving Brianna backwards up against the ropes but Brianna breaks the lock up as Lucius grabs her going for a Bear Hug but Brianna slithers out of it ducking under the arms of Lucius who manages to maintain his footing and the two back up to opposite corners and continue to pace around the ring once more.
James Peters: Lucius Crowe and Brianna Hill lock up in the ring once again as this match has had a very slow start so far.

Rich Russillo: Wait look out! Brianna Hill ducks around behind Lucius Crowe locking her arms around his waist! Brianna now waiting for Lucius to get back up and he clearly is not happy with how things turned out there. Brianna mocking him with a condescending smirk as he gets back up and charges in at her. Brianna ducks the Clothesline and is lighting Lucius up with shots to the face but Lucius with a Dropkick sends Brianna away from him leading to a stalemate once again as both competitors get back up and face off in the ring again.

Lucius off the ropes… Running Knee Strike to the head knocks Brianna around but she stays on her feet! Lucius grabs Brianna from behind and hooks the arms… Dragon Suplex! Lucius tossing Brianna across the ring and that move definitely hit hard! Brianna rolls back up holding the back of her neck getting a taste of the pain she inflicted Lucius with as this match has been slow paced and back and forth so far. Brianna back up in the corner and she looks impressed that Lucius pulled that off the smirk briefly disappearing from her face. You can tell she is not backing down however as she gets right back on up into the action.
Rich Russillo: Brianna Hill and Lucius Crowe charge in at each other but Brianna immediately side steps a Clothesline from Lucius! Brianna ducks around behind Lucius and locks him into a Bear Hug! But Lucius uses all of his strength and quickly breaks the hold. Lucius wheels around and charges in at Brianna! Running Superkick to Brianna! But she catches the leg! Lucius rolls back up to his feet with Brianna with her… another German Suplex! But Lucius holds on-
Rich Russillo: No! Brianna Hill manages to break the hold that Lucius Crowe has on her managing to avoid further rolling German Suplexes from her. Brianna rolls over into the corner between the ropes forcing Lucius to back off her as she briefly recovers and pulls herself back up to her feet. Both competitors slowly getting back into the match as they meet in the middle of the ring. Look at Lucius’ mouth however, Brianna hit him hard right in the mouth and he is spitting blood. Brianna looks pleased at the damage she has done.
Persephone: Blood is pretty graphic. Maybe we should call this whole thing off? For the safety of the viewing public.
James Peters: Brianna Hill and Lucius Crowe are back at it in the ring throwing hands. They go for a lockup… but Brianna goes low with a kick right to the gut! Brianna nearly causing Lucius to fall over with well placed kicks to the legs! But Lucius retaliates leaping over the legs of Brianna and begins kicking at her legs as well! Brianna staggers backwards into the corner as Lucius charges in nailing her with a full speed Running Clothesline into the corner. Lucius then grabs Brianna by the neck and runs back into the ring and drops her with a Running Bulldog! Brianna slowly back up now… hard shots to the head from Lucius knocking Brianna into the ropes but Lucius has snapped and is bashing the brains of Brianna in beating her against the ropes. Lucius whips Brianna across the ri-
Rich Russillo: No! Brianna Hill reverses the Irish Whip and pulls Lucius Crowe back in! She lifts Lucius up over her shoulders! Death Valley Driver! But Lucius smartly flips out of it and lands down behind Brianna. Lucius shoves Brianna up against the ropes as she whirls around bouncing off them! But Lucius charges in with a Running Spear tearing her in half! Spear! Spear! Spear! Lucius with the cover!
Referee: ONEEEEEEEEEE!!!
Referee: TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOO-
James Peters: Brianna Hill with the kickout! That was a devastating Spear there from Lucius Crowe but somehow was only able to get two out of it! Lucius staying on Brianna however as he backs up into the corner measuring her for another hard hitting maneuver. Brianna is slowly back up as she turns around and finds Lucius there waiting for her! O2 EXTRACTION! LUCIUS CONNECTS WITH THAT DEVASTATING POWERBOMB LUNGBLOWER!!! Lucius to another cover on Brianna!
Referee: ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!
Referee: TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!
Referee: THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-
Rich Russillo: But Brianna Hill kicks out yet again! Lucius Crowe is shocked he thought he had the match won there!
Persephone: That would’ve been good.
James Peters: The match has not ended however as Brianna Hill rolls to the outside of the ring in pain. Lucius Crowe has taken control of the ring and the referee now beginning the count as Brianna recovers on the outside.
Referee: ONE! TWO! THREE!
Rich Russillo: Lucius Crowe rolling out of the ring despite the referee’s best attempts to keep him on the inside. He will not be controlled as he makes his way to the outside and waits for Brianna Hill to recover. Brianna is leaning up against the barricade at ringside but here comes Lucius at full speed! LUCIUS WITH A RUNNING SHOULDER TACKLE ON BRIANNA RIGHT INTO THE BARRICADE!!!-
James Peters: No! Brianna Hill moved out of the way and Lucius Crowe just smashed into the barricade breaking out a portion of it as he goes flying through! The crowd is scattering now as Lucius pulls himself up from amongst the rubble and he is absolutely wrecked here! Brianna just avoided certain death as she now is looking to take advantage!
Referee: FOUR! FIVE! SIX!
Rich Russillo: Brianna Hill staggers over to Lucius Crowe picking him back up as she clearly outsmarted him by playing possum there. Brianna pulling Lucius back up and bringing him back towards the ring and looking to get a cover in. Brianna lifts Lucius up onto her shoulders before running him into the ring! No! Lucius falls off the back of Brianna and shoves her face first into the turnbuckle post on the outside! Brianna goes flying and whirls down collapsing down onto the padding on the outside! Lucius has a chance here to win this thing by countout as he slides back into the ring.
Referee: SEVEN! EIGHT! NINE!-
James Peters: But Brianna Hill rolls back into the ring to defeat the ten count! Brianna is still in this! Lucius Crowe does not approve as he stomps on her furiously!
Persephone: I don’t approve either! Get her Lucius!
Rich Russillo: Well I’m surprised you are not supporting Brianna considering she is Luis’ partner.
Persephone: You are right. My rage at this match still going on overcame the power of love for just a slight moment. I apologize Luis mi amor!
James Peters: Lucius Crowe picking Brianna Hill up in the corner and going to work with hard forearms and elbow strikes. Brianna staggers out of the corner and Lucius whips her across the ring! Brianna goes back first into the corner as Lucius charges in! Running Shoulder Thrust into the corner!-

Brianna staggers out of the corner and this is her chance now to take advantage and turn this match back in her favor! Lucius in the corner and eats repeated stomps to the back from Brianna kicking him down into the corner and stomping a mudhole into him. Lucius in a bad way here as he holds his shoulder. Brianna grabs him and yanks him out of the corner as she pulls his arm in before hooking the head… DDT connects right into the middle of the ring! Brianna then lifts Lucius up and grabs him around the waist! German Suplex-
James Peters: No! Lucius Crowe grabs onto the ropes with all of his might and refuses to let go! Lucius not going to let Brianna toss him as he holds on hard to the ropes preventing the German Suplex! Brianna kicks his arm off the ropes and tosses him backwards with a Modified Side Slam sending Lucius flipping over onto his shoulder! Lucius slowly back up as Brianna grabs him… Brianna lifts Lucius up… TIGER DRIVER CONNECTS!!! THE GRUDGE!!! Brianna to the cover!
Persephone: Yes a cover! Do it for Luis!
Referee: ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!
Referee: TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!
Referee: THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-
Rich Russillo: The kickout by Lucius Crowe! That was nearly it for Lucius! Brianna Hill nearly had the match won but not quite there!
James Peters: Brianna Hill grabs Lucius Crowe lifting him up from the mat before tossing him backwards with a Snap Suplex. Brianna then grabs the arm of Lucius and wrenches the arm backwards with a Cross Armbreaker! Lucius just might have no choice but to tap out here tonight! But Lucius reaching out towards the ropes trying to break this thing up! Lucius eventually gets to the ropes and the referee orders the break!
Referee: ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR! FIVE!
Rich Russillo: Brianna Hill releases the Cross Armbreaker and Lucius Crowe rolls out onto the apron to hold his arm. Lucius slowly gets back up before Brianna grabs him and Suplexes him over the top rope back into the ring! No wait! Lucius swings it around and twists up into sitting on top of Brianna’s neck then she tosses her across the ring with a Hurricanrana! Lucius rolls back up as Brianna recovers! Brianna comes running in but Lucius hits her with a Flying Burrito! Brianna back up and turns around but Lucius catches her and plants her in the middle of the ring with a Pop Up Powerbomb. Lucius now going up to the top rope and looking to end things here…
James Peters: FLYING ELBOW DROP FROM THE TOP ROPE!!! LUCIUS CROWE GETS ALL OF IT AND CRUSHES BRIANNA HILL! THE COVER!
Persephone: No! Believe in the power of Luis and kick out!
Referee: ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!
Referee: TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!
Referee: THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!

James Peters: OCEAN EYES! BRIANNA OUT OF NOWHERE WITH THE SPINNING BACK ELBOW COMPLETELY KNOCKS LUCIUS OUT RIGHT WHERE HE STANDS! LUCIUS IS DOWN AND BRIANNA LANDS RIGHT ON TOP OF HIM FOR THE PIN!
OOONNNEEE!!!
TTTTWWWWOOOO!!!!!
TTTTTTHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!
(DING! DING! DING!)
(‘ballad of a homeschooled girl’ begins to blast through the speakers as Brianna Hill slowly begins to pull herself off of the body of Lucius Crowe. She has a big smile on her face as she laughs hysterically at this, boastful of her victory as she rises up to her feet and the referee raises her hand in the air.)
Bella Braxton: HERE IS YOUR WINNER… BRIANNA HILL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Rich Russillo: What a win, Lucius put up a fight but in the end Brianna was the better competitor and I am sure that is something to hang your hat on heading into King of Elite and the big match that is in store.
James Peters: La Familia has been making their ascent and while the group has so as Brianna as an individual. She has made waves and this victory is a testament to that! Congratulations!
(Brianna makes her way up the ramp with her arms spread out as it’s the last shot seen before the camera from there begins to fade and Sunday Night Voltage transitions to elsewhere.)
(Commercial for McDonald’s with Jake Smith.)
(Voltage returns to ringside, and ‘Birds With Broken Wings’ by Ben Caplan hits. This causes loud boos to come from the fans in attendance, as in a surprising turn of events, Showdown’s Solomon Stane begins walking out. Solomon is carrying a microphone in his hand, and he slowly walks down the ramp, ignoring the negative reaction coming from the crowd on his way to the ring.)
James Peters: Solomon Stane seems to be making an appearance from Showdown tonight, and this obviously has to do with everything that’s happened between him and Dr. Bethany Blue.
Rich Russillo: Yeah. We know that things became personal quickly between these two, but recently Solomon Stane was able to take Bethany out. As for what he’s out here to do right now? I have no idea. All I know is that he has a mic in his hand, so he clearly has some words for us tonight.
Persephone: Why? He couldn’t have done this on his own brand? Nobody wants to listen to him speak, why would he come to Voltage just to waste our time?
(Solomon walks up the steel steps before slowly entering the ring. As he stands in the center of the ring, his entrance music begins to fade out, leaving just the boos from the fans. Soon after, Solomon begins to speak.)
Solomon Stane: I don’t make threats for no reason. My job isn’t just to intimidate anyone. I’m not simply here to leave the same empty promises you’d find from the rest of the EAW roster, and I’d hope that Dr. Bethany Blue understands that now. For a long time now I have simply been doing what my God believes is right, and after the awful actions that were committed against my own wife, there wasn’t a chance that I’d allow someone like Dr. Bethany Blue to remain standing. By now Bethany Blue should understand exactly what she’s gotten herself into, which is a match against someone completely unlike anyone and anything she has ever been up against in the past. This is a completely new experience for her, and one that will end in her being forced to see the error in her ways. One way or another Bethany will have to understand just how serious I am about all of this, and as I’ve already said, if that means crucifiying her at one of the biggest events of the year in front of thousands of people, I won’t hesitate to do exactly that.
Solomon Stane: I am not the kind of Elitist Bethany should be taking lightly. That’s what she needs to know heading into King of Elite, and because she is so stubborn and arrogant, that’ll likely be the lesson she has the most trouble learning. I’m not the kind of Elitist she has spent this entire season facing. The kind that tells her they are going to win solely out of hope or the same overconfidence she’s bringing to this match. The kind that is driven by their own mediocre goals. I’m not that kind of Elitist, so if Bethany thinks it’s okay for her to put her hands on my wife just because she may have been able to succeed in these circumstances in the past, she’ll soon learn just how wrong she was. See, King of Elite will not just be a regular match between Solomon Stane and Dr. Bethany Blue. It won’t just be another regular contest between Elitists just like the other matches on the card. I’m not here simply to win, I am here to make sure Bethany faces the consequences of her actions.
(The fans begin to loudly boo, but Solomon doesn’t seem to care. He remains silent for a moment as the boos continue, before just shaking his head and continuing.)
Solomon Stane: Whether you all like it or not, what happens at King of Elite was bound to happen the moment Bethany set foot on Showdown. She did this all to herself, so I’m sure you all know what that means for her. When this ends, she won’t be allowed to blame me for what happens to her. She won’t be allowed to blame anyone for herself for whatever pain she is forced to suffer from. She made the decision to attack Trixie. She made the decision to pick a fight with me, and come King of Elite, she will regret-
(Suddenly, the titantron screen turns on. This catches Solomon’s attention, and as Solomon turns towards the stage, the screen cuts to the inside of a hospital room. Someone is seen walking through the room, and initially the camera only catches the legs of this person. However, the camera would soon begin to slowly pan up, revealing Dr. Bethany Blue. This causes a loud reaction to come from the crowd, though not a positive one. Solomon looks confused seeing Bethany walk through the room, but Bethany begins to speak.)
Dr. Bethany Blue: I’ve noticed something about a lot of you Elitists. You really seem to forget just how important Doctors are in this world. Every single day you talk about how great you are and what you can do, but the people who actually hold lives in their hands…
(The camera slowly begins to pan away from Dr. Bethany Blue, and what is shown infuriates Solomon.)
Dr. Bethany Blue: Are us.
(What’s shown is Trixie Stane, sleeping inside of a bed inside of the hospital room. This causes loud boos to come from the fans, who clearly don’t like whatever Dr. Bethany Blue is doing. Solomon is obviously frustrated knowing that Bethany is near his wife, and he begins to speak.)
Solomon Stane: Why are you with her?
Dr. Bethany Blue: I’m a Doctor, Solomon. It’s my job to take care of others, isn’t it?
Solomon Stane: I hope this isn’t your idea of a joke.
(Bethany begins to laugh before responding to Solomon.)
Dr. Bethany Blue: Solomon, do you think I’ve forgotten about your little attack? What you did was disgusting, and the fact that you now think you’ll be able to do worse really just makes me sick. You’re not even the kind of Elitist I should be entertaining, but you’ve managed to become an annoyance. Unfortunately for you Solomon, I’m not the type to fall for the same tricks twice. You got the upper hand before and you should savor that feeling while you still can, because that’s the last time it will ever happen. I know how you operate now, and personally I’d rather not entertain any more of your games than I already have. You’re so far beneath me it’s not even funny, but by attacking me you were able to convince yourself that King of Elite will be some sort of revenge story for you. No Solomon, that’s not what this is. That was never what this was for you, and there simply wasn’t any point in heading to the arena tonight if this was what I’d have to entertain. Instead, I decided to pay a visit to your wife so I could make sure she’s being taken care of. After all, I’m a Doctor, and I take that very seriously. I wouldn’t want to leave Trixie alone after that awful attack she suffered.
(Dr. Bethany Blue walks around the room, and the camera follows her to the desk where many of her tools are kept. Dr. Bethany Blue turns towards the camera with a smirk on her face as she continues.)
Dr. Bethany Blue: You see all of these tools here, right? I don’t think I need to explain just how dangerous some of them are. Most of the time they’re used to save lives, but if anyone wanted to, they’d work perfectly as murder weapons. There’s a reason not everyone could be a Doctor. As dangerous as a business like professional wrestling is, it doesn’t compare to literally having to work on people who could very well die with just one wrong move. See, in situations like this, nobody has more power than the Doctor operating on their patient. It’s the Doctor that has the power to decide whether someone lives or dies. It’s the Doctor that has a human’s life in the palm of their hand, and believe it or not Solomon, there are no exceptions to that rule. See, I know you care about Trixie here, but she was very badly hurt recently. It’s now my responsibility to decide what happens to her, and I could do two things. I could take good care of her and allow her to return to you, or I could just put her out of her misery.
(This once again receives a loud reaction, and this just gets to Solomon Stane even more. Bethany prepares to continue speaking, but before she even has the chance, Solomon cuts her off.)
Solomon Stane: THAT’S ENOUGH! I already warned you of what’s to come at King of Elite. If you really think this sick joke will make things any better for you, you must not have any idea of what’s really coming your way. I already told you that my words weren’t the same empty threats you’ve heard elsewhere, and you already have a lot coming your way after what you’ve already done to my wife. I have seen more than enough wicked acts during my time following my God, and I’m telling you right now, taking pride in those acts does nothing but make matters worse for you. If you wish to dig your own grave then go right ahead, but for your sake, it’s time to leave Trixie out of it.
(Bethany doesn’t immediately respond, but she still has a smirk on her face. She can tell that Solomon is on edge, and after she glances towards the tools one more time, she looks towards the camera and begins to speak.)
Dr. Bethany Blue: You’re powerless right now, Solomon. That’s why you’re so upset right now. I can do whatever I want, and no matter how badly you want to, you can’t stop me. The fact that I could terminate Trixie in so many different ways right now should tell you everything you need to know about yourself, Solomon. You’re not a God, and neither is the pagan you worship. The real Gods are Doctors like myself, who can do whatever they want to a human being. If you haven’t already figured that out, you will at King of Elite. Until then, you better not forget what I’m capable of.
(The titantron screen turns off, leaving Solomon Stane still staring towards the stage. He is furious knowing that Bethany is still in the same location as Trixie, especially knowing that there’s nothing he can do about it. The fans are booing, not fans of either Elitist involved, and before long Solomon begins to exit the ring.)
James Peters: I can’t say I expected that from Dr. Bethany Blue, but she may have just taken things between these two to another level. She already hurt Trixie Stane, but those were some very serious threats. You can tell Solomon isn’t happy, and I don’t think anyone could blame him right now. After all, Bethany isn’t wrong. Anything could happen to Trixie as long as she’s there.
Rich Russillo: Solomon and Bethany will be facing off at King of Elite, and by the time these two get their hands on each other it could be much more of a war than I think anyone could’ve expected. Solomon Stane made a visit to Voltage to send a message, but I think it’s safe to say he didn’t expect any of this either.
Persephone: That was almost cool. If only Bethany actually finished the job instead of running her mouth.
James Peters: :francis:
(Solomon Stane is seen storming up the ramp, not wanting to waste any time after what he has already seen regarding Dr. Bethany Blue and Trixie. As he continues making his way to the back, Voltage fades away into a commercial break.)
(Promotional ad for King of Elite, where Donovan Duke and Mia Santoro challenge the Jaded Hearts for the Unified Tag Team Championships.)
(‘Bewitched’ by Frank Sinatra begins to play as the crowd has a mixed reception for the Specialists Champion herself, Bea Valentine and ‘Gloria’ on her shoulder. The two of them are so close knit with each other as they make their way to the ring.)
Bella Braxton: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN…PLEASE WELCOME THIS TIME…THE EAW SPECIALISTS CHAMPION… ‘THE QUEEN BEA’…BEA VALENTINE!!!!!
Persephone: The looney toons gang’s all here! Bea Valentine is still in that delulu era of her’s, but not as much as her challenger.
James Peters: Bea Valentine has had some words for her challenger at King of Elite, Princess Candice Blair. Bea has called Candice a “Disney adult,” and someone who needed to leave these childish things in the past. But, it seems like in order to defeat Candice, Bea is going to need to insert herself in the magical world of Disney in a ‘Disney Princesses and Villains’ Lumberjack Match for the Specialists Championship.
Rich Russillo: This match smells like Princess Candice Blair’s advantage, but Bea Valentine has been known to have a trick or two up her sleeve in the past. She will do whatever it takes to make sure that she does not part ways with Gloria.
Persephone: We are not calling the Specialists Championship that, Rich. It’s a TITLE! :wtf:
(‘Bewitched’ fades as Bea Valentine stands in the middle of the ring. Gloria is shining on her shoulder as Bea admires the title before beginning her promo.)
Bea Valentine: I have cherished my time with my babygirl, Gloria. Without her, I would have withered away. My beautiful fair skin takes on a pale, sickly complexion. My lustrous blonde locks turning into a dull white mess. My face. My money-maker. The vision of perfection in this hideous world would be filled with wrinkles to the point that I would not recognize myself whenever I look into a mirror. When you’re young and beautiful, people want to be around you. People will look you in the face and tell you that they love you. That you’re beautiful. That you’re doing such a fantastic job. But, it’s not always like that when you turn away. The moment that you turn away, they begin their chitter-chatter. They will slander your name to the dirt and stomp on it with their fairly cheap high heels. They begin to reveal their true colors and expose themselves for being such in genuine ingrates, who really never wanted the best for you. One day they love you. The next? They want nothing more than to crush you with their fist and why is that? Gloria, why is that?
Gloria: …
Bea Valentine: You are a smart girl, Gloria! That is right! Right on the money! The answer is: people want what you have. It’s not different when it comes to me and Gloria. People want Gloria. People want to get their hands on Gloria and will reveal their true, animalistic nature by causing harm towards me, if it means that they can have Gloria. I learned that first hand when I had to defend Gloria in the Specialists Chamber at Road to Redemption. It went from standing ovations about my triumphant victory at House of Glass to… “it’s over now, darling.” Just within a snap of the fingers, there were five other women who wanted to separate Gloria and I. The bond that had begun to develop over the past couple of weeks was just in the beginning stages. We were barely together for a cup of tea and now, there were people READY to rip us apart. Oh, I had to hear woman after woman tell me that they were going to cut my time with Gloria short. They were so sure of themselves as well. But, nope! The bond that Gloria and I have was much stronger than what the Specialists Chamber threw at me! I overcame five different women at Road to Redemption. Just like I overcame Valerie Hellstorm in a steel cage to secure my shot at the Specialists Championship. I only had one shot and might as well call me Joso because I don’t miss.
Bea Valentine: All of the effort that I went through at Territorial Invasion begun the rise of Bea Valentine as I overcame three women —one of them securing her spot in the history books, but I knew that a new chapter must be written because my reign with Gloria was going to blow the entire roof of this place as if it was one of my movies being played in the Regal Cinema. Roger Ebert would give it five out of five stars. Highly recommend it. Oscar worthy. That is exactly how I view this reign with Gloria. A thing of beauty. Cinematic masterpiece. We can’t let it end right now. That would be such a tragic thing to do. It would be tragic to let that putrid thing that likes to call herself a ‘princess’ like Candice Blair Ava believe that she can steal Gloria from me. Gloria and I have been through so much with each other these past three months. It would be tragic to let Candice separate us. Road to Redemption, Noche De Violencia, SHOWDOWN —we have overcome so much and we’re not going to let some Disney adult come in the way of all of that —
(‘Rhapsody in Pink’ by Stela Cole cuts off Bea Valentine as ‘Princess’ Candice Blair comes out in a customized Cinderella dress, altered to her desire. Candice does a cute little twirl as she makes her way down the ramp. She looks right at Bea and that’s when her whole demeanor changes, not being happy about the events of last week.)
Persephone: Oh great! We got from one delusional bitch to another one! These two are having a delulu off at King of Elite! One thinks that she’s from the past. The other thinks that she’s a princess. This match is going to be the worst thing ever.
James Peters: Or, it’s going to be the greatest match ever! Don’t be so negative, Seph! Princess Candice Blair has made the Showdown brand her kingdom this season and this opportunity is for all her efforts this season!
Rich Russillo: Princess Candice Blair has been an outstanding representation for Disney and EAW as a whole. She has climbed up the ranks since November 2019 and I think that King of Elite could put her on that next level and possibly lead her to winning the gold!
(‘Rhapsody in Pink’ dies down as the crowd is applauding Princess Candice Blair, feeding into her delulu a bit. Bea Valentine does not look to be amused with Candice taking her spotlight, but does nothing about it.)
Princess Candice Blair: It took me a ton of breathing exercises to not march down that ramp and unleash all of my fury onto you, Beatrice. But, that would not be so ‘princess-like’ of me. After all, I got an image to maintain. They look to be the greatest representation to the Walt Disney Corporation that I can be. I got people like Kennedy Street, like Heidi Huxley, Alana Starr and EAW who expect me to be on my best behavior as we head towards King of Elite. I desire to have a civil conversation with you. Princess to… Specialists Champion. The Specialists Championship is a championship that has been held by so many all-time greats. One of them being related to me, sweetheart. Most recently, it was held by Milli Banks. Regardless of my feelings towards her, I’m not going to lie and say that she has not elevated the Specialists Championship to the heights since Andrea Valentine. She had a ton of work cut out from her and she elevated that championship to the utmost respect and prestige that a championship deserves. Since then, it hasn’t been easy. Almost like – it’s taken a nosedive from the heights that your successors have busted their butts off to take it. But most importantly, “Gloria ” hasn’t been elevated by someone like me. An activist, a singer, a model, a professional wrestler – a woman with a HUGE social media following on X, on Instagram, on TikTok. If the Specialists Championship wants to go back to being prestigious – just like it was during Milli’s time as champion – we don’t need someone like you holding it, darling.
Princess Candice Blair: I’m the only one with the best shot at adding prestige back to the Specialists Championship. If you want that title to become the most mainstream championship in history, it needs someone of my bloodline to get my job done. We’ve done it once and there’s no doubt that I am more than capable of getting the job done once more. It takes one shot of me having that Specialists Championship on my shoulder for the internet to begin Googling ‘Elite Answers Wrestling’ and get eyes on the product. Not only that, but it brings more eyes to DISNEY. It not only provides EAW and Disney with the representation that it rightfully deserves and doesn’t everyone want that? For a princess like myself to bring prestige and honor back to the Specialists Championship? Everyone should want that. You should want what’s best for “Gloria,” Beatrice.
(Bea Valentine remains perfectly still, clutching the Specialists Championship on her shoulder before glimpsing down on it as Princess Candice Blair continues.)
Princess Candice Blair: Last week, you got lucky, Bea. You got the biggest victory of your career at the expense of my sister due to a miscalculation made by me, but don’t get too ahead of yourself. You couldn’t defeat her on your best day. Just like you won’t be able to defeat me at King of Elite when I bring my utmost best to the match. You should be focusing on the fact that when it came to the two of us standing in the same ring, I got the upper hand and I knocked you down. I would have finished you off there, but you ducked. You escaped before I could fully capitalize on you. You did the one thing that you won’t be able to do at King of Elite in the ‘Disney Princess and Villains’ Lumberjack Match. At King of Elite, you won’t have anywhere to run, Bea. You won’t be able to use any of your tricks. It’s going to be you and me for that Specialists Championship.
Bea Valentine: That was a cute monologue, Candice. I felt so many emotions. I felt passion. I felt determination. I felt…pity…for you. Because, it seems like you may be forgetting a few people.
(Bea Valentine forms an evil smirk on her face as Princess Candice Blair looks a bit confused at what Bea could be talking about.)
James Peters: PRINCESS CANDICE BLAIR TURNS HERSELF AROUND AS THE EVIL QUEEN TAKES HER DOWN WITH A CLOTHESLINE! CANDICE IS COMPLETELY TAKEN OFF GUARD AS THE EVIL QUEEN PICKS UP CANDICE BY HER CHIN! BUT, CANDICE SLAPS THE EVIL QUEEN ACROSS THE FACE! THIS TAKES THE EVIL QUEEN BACK AS CANDICE JUMPS AT HER WITH A THESZ PRESS! CANDICE BEGINS TO UNLOAD ON THE EVIL QUEENS WITH A SERIES OF PUNCHES TO THE FACE! BUT, CANDICE IS BEING PULLED BY THE BACK OF HER BUN —
Rich Russillo: IT’S THE REST OF THE DISNEY VILLAINS, JAMES! AT LEAST, THE ONES THAT ARE BACKSTAGE TONIGHT! THE QUEEN OF HEARTS THROWS PRINCESS CANDICE BLAIR BEHIND HER AS CANDICE BACKS AWAY TO THE CORNER, TRYING TO GET AWAY FROM THE MESS! BUT, THE QUEEN OF HEARTS CONNECTS WITH CANNONBALL SENTON! CANDICE IS FLATTENED IN RESPONSE! BUT, IT SEEMS LIKE MALEFICENT WANTS TO JOIN IN ON ALL THE FUN! SHE HAS HER STAFF IN POSSESSION AS SHE SWINGS IT AGAINST THE STOMACH OF PRINCESS CANDICE! CANDICE COLLAPSES TO HER KNEES AS CRUELLA DE VIL BEGINS TO SWING THAT CREAM FUR PURSE WITH THREE FOXTAILS IN FRONT AND SMASHES IT AGAINST CANDICE’S FACE! CANDICE GOES BACK!
Persephone: THIS IS AMAZING! CANDICE IS GETTING HER BUTT WHOOPED BY A COUPLE OF OLD HAGS! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
James Peters: NOW, THE EVIL QUEEN, QUEEN OF HEARTS, MALEFICENT AND CRUELLA DE VIL BEGINS TO STOMP ON PRINCESS CANDICE BLAIR’S BODY AS CANDICE HAS NO WAY TO COVER HERSELF! SHE IS TOTALLY VULNERABLE AT THE MOMENT! THERE IS NO ONE TO SAVE HER! BEA VALENTINE IS AT THE CORNER AS SHE LOOKS AMUSED BY THE ENTIRE THING! SHE IS LOVING SEEING CANDICE VULNERABLE! WE SEE QUEEN OF HEARTS AND THE EVIL QUEEN HOLDING UP CANDICE! MALEFICENT IS INSTRUCTING FOR BEA VALENTINE TO USE THAT SPECIALISTS CHAMPIONSHIP AS BEA LIKES THE SOUND OF THAT! OH, THIS ISN’T FAIR WHATSOEVER!
(Bea Valentine and the Disney Villains are cackling at Princess Candice Blair’s misery as Bea raises the Specialists Championship up, ready to smash Candice’s skull with it. The crowd explodes out of their seats as …)
Rich Russillo: IT’S THE DISNEY PRINCESSES — CINDERELLA, BELLE, JASMINE AND TIANA COMING TO THE AID OF PRINCESS CANDICE BLAIR! THE DISNEY VILLAINS ARE READY FOR THOSE PRINCESSES AS PURE PANDEMONIUM ENSUES INSIDE THAT RING! CINDERELLA WITH THE EVIL QUEEN! BELLE WITH THE QUEEN OF HEARTS! JASMINE AND MALEFICENT ARE GOING AT EACH OTHER! TIANA JUST SLAPPED THE FUR OUT OF CRUELLA DE VIL! :damn:
Persephone: This is like Disney meets the Bad Girls Club and I’m loving every second of it! Bea Valentine did not expect for Princess Candice’s friends to be lingering backstage as well! But, a princess is never alone, apparently! One by one, the Disney villains are escaping the ring! They realize that they will all fight another day! CANDICE BLAIR LAUNCHES HERSELF AT BEA VALENTINE DELIVERING LEFT AND RIGHT TO BEA! BEA IS TRADING EACH PUNCH WITH HER AS SHE TRIES TO ESCAPE CANDICE, BUT CANDICE PULLS BEA TOWARDS HER, NAILING HER WITH A ‘SPINNING WHEEL’ — THE SPINNING HEEL KICK TAKES BEA DOWN!
(Bea Valentine tries to find her way back to her knees as she looks at Princess Candice Blair, who is standing tall. Then, she looks at all the four exits of the ring, where Tiana, Cinderella, Belle and Jasmine have completely barricaded themselves, making sure that Bea has nowhere to run.)
James Peters: PRINCESS CANDICE BLAIR RUNS TOWARDS BEA VALENTINE WITH ‘ALMOST THERE’ — THE DISCUS CLOTHESLINE TAKES DOWN THE SPECIALISTS CHAMPION! NOW, CANDICE BEGINS TO PICK UP BEA! CANDICE IS LOOKING FOR ‘DISNEYLAND DESTROYER’ — HER VARIATION OF THE CANADIAN DESTROYER, BUT LOOK AT THE CORNER! IT’S CRUELLA DE VIL AS CANDICE CHARGES TOWARDS HER —
(The crowd begins to boo as Maleficent and the Queen of Hearts manage to pull Bea Valentine from the bottom rope and out of the ring. Princess Candice Blair and the rest of the Disney princesses realize what is going on, but before they can stop it, it’s too late. Bea and the Disney villains are beginning to make their way up the ramp. Candice and the Disney princesses are standing tall and proud inside the ring. Candice looks down and realizes that ‘Gloria’ is still inside the ring as Bea is screaming for Candice not to touch ‘Gloria,’ but Candice grabs onto the Specialists Championship, raising it proudly in the air as the princesses cheer and applaud Candice. ‘Rhapsody in Pink’ begins to play as Candice and the princesses celebrate inside the ring.)
Rich Russillo: Princess Candice Blair and the Disney princesses stand tall tonight! The vision of Candice and the Specialists Championship could be the happily ever after that Candice wants King of Elite to be! Now, could that happen? Or will Bea Valentine have another trick underneath her sleeves?
Persephone: If this was just a sample of what that Lumberjack Match can be, this might be worth tuning in. Give me Jersey Shore. Give me Bad Girls Club. Give me The Real Housewives of Disney. Give me what I deserve!
(The camera takes a shot of a sobbing Bea Valentine, who can’t seem to handle the image of Princess Candice holding her beloved Gloria.)
(Voltage fades to a commercial break.)
(Promotional ad for King of Elite, where Bea Valentine defends the Specialists Championship against Candice Blair.)
(Boos erupt in the arena as the camera fades back to ringside where ‘Peligro’ by Peso Pluma is heard playing throughout the arena. Eventually, all four members of La Familia emerge from backstage and begin to make their way down to the ring.)
Rich Russillo: With all that has been going on here on Voltage recently, one constant has been the constant and repeated attacks from La Familia that only feel like they have increased in number. This group seems to think that they control Voltage and they are controlling it through violence and attacks on many members of our roster.
James Peters: Hopefully we are safe out here at ringside. You don’t think they would attack us, do you?
Persephone: Maybe you two. But I know that Luis would never hurt me. <3 <3 <3 (La Familia enters the ring as their music slowly fades and they are shown standing in the ring with a microphone. The crowd boos heavily for some time before finally quieting down.) Luis De La Rosa: Callate putos! You people need to quiet down and show La Familia some respect! We are the reigning and defending Hardcore Champions of the world and we are the heroes to all of you here in Latin America! Even in Uruguay! (The crowd boos heavily as Luis passes the microphone to Roberto De La Rosa.) Roberto De La Rosa: You know it is very pathetic that anyone would think that they can touch La Familia. Somos invencibles. Pero in spite of that a bunch of losers backstage decided to get together and try to ruin everything that we have built here. Tried to tear down all of our success for no reason. They are just upset because we are stronger, we are faster, we are better than they are in every shape and form. People have a problem with us attacking them backstage but maybe if they were tougher then that wouldn’t be a problem for them? Just saying. (Roberto De La Rosa passes the microphone off to Valerie Hellstorm.) Valerie Hellstorm: So at King of Elite we are going to be facing who? TLA, Ruler, Jack Ripley, and Michael S. Connor? That is such a random group it honestly makes me laugh that they think they stand a chance against the united force that is La Familia. The biggest threat on Voltage. I mean we have beaten and victimized all of them already but they just come back looking for more? They aren’t very smart are they Brianna? (Valerie passes the microphone off to Brianna Hill.) Brianna Hill: Son idiotas! Our opponents at King of Elite are all people who shouldn’t even be here on Voltage. We were doing this brand a favor by getting rid of them. TLA and Jack Ripley are both oldhead “leyendas” who should just retire and make way for their replacements. AKA us. As for Michael S. Connor and Ruler have they ever done anything to justify EAW continuing to sign them? I am surprised that they haven’t been released as part of budget cuts or something. La Familia is a kind leader so jefe is going to give all of them a few days to think this stupidity over and drop out of the match before they really get hu- (The crowd erupts out of their seats into cheers as “Ambitionz az a Ridah” by Tupac blasts across the speakers. It does not take very long for the team of TLA, Michael S. Connor, Jack Ripley, and Ruler to make their way out to the stage.) Rich Russillo: Last week on Voltage we saw the formation of a new alliance. A group of men from the Voltage roster who are sick and tired of La Familia’s abuse! James Peters: Each of these men has been personally victimized by La Familia in the recent past and at King of Elite they are coming for payback! (The music fades as TLA is shown holding the microphone on stage. TLA is shown already in his ring gear considering his scheduled match is up next.) TLA: Tranquilo homies I know y’all getting all worked up n shit about this. You be tryna get us to drop out the match but you got us all wrong if you think that is even a consideration up in here. We ain’t scurred of none of y’all pendejos and we fixin’ to whip each and every one of yo culos at King of Elite! You think you can come and snatch a championship from a vato gettin’ all up and involved in all my luchas and there ain’t gonna be no payback? Hell nah you know it all about that war and you left me no choice but to do some real gangsta shit. (TLA hands the microphone off to Michael S. Connor.) Michael S. Connor: TLA is right, and the same can be said for the rest of my associates. There’s no denying that you’ve made your impression on Sunday Night Voltage, and there’s nothing wrong with that. But it is also how you have done it that has made you some enemies, enemies that you do not want to fight inside of the ring. Personally, I am reminded of what you have done, and I am not going to let it slide. The pain and suffering that you have put myself and many of my peers through is not going to go unpunished. And while you think your actions may go unchecked because of the presumed power that you have, that is where you are wrong. At King of Elite, you are going to get everything that you deserve coming your way and there is nothing that’s going to save you from that. (Michael S. Connor hands the microphone off to Jack Ripley.) Jack Ripley: You gotta be some real fucking stupid people to think that we’re just going to drop out of this like this is going to be a challenge that we can’t face against you four. The wrestling experience between all of us is varied, but one thing I can say is that La Familia isn’t a challenge that we haven’t faced before. We’ve been in the ring with people just like you, more so people that are way out of your range in terms of level of competition, we have what it takes to beat you. I know I’m going to sound like a broken record coming off of them but I am in the business of payback just as much as they are, and I’m not just going to come in and take a loss because you said so. I’m not just going to lay down for you because I’m Jack Ripley and I’m washed or whatever. I’m going to do my part in making sure that you realize just how in over your heads you are and how you do not run Voltage whatsoever. (Jack Ripley hands the microphone off to Ruler.) Ruler: I don’t like most of the people on my team, but I don’t like La Familia more. For the past couple of weeks, they have been nothing but nuisances to my plans, and every step of the way it seems they have had a hand in something involving me. From the King of Elite tournament and them making the semifinals a triple threat match, to now with it being the reason this match was made, I find it frustrating that out of all people they’ve chosen me along with the other three alongside me to stand in our way. That’s fine though, that’s the path that you’ve chosen, and now I’ve chosen mine. I’m going to make sure that La Familia doesn’t make it past King of Elite, and that they do not have the opportunity to ruin anyone else’s career the way that they have ours. I don’t consider myself much of a team player beyond the realm of NICHOLISM, but when there’s a problem I will do whatever it takes in order for me to solve it, even if it means aligning myself with them in order to. (Roberto De La Rosa is shown with the microphone in the ring as he interrupts them.) Roberto De La Rosa: So obviously you are all still salty because we attacked you or your amigos Korey Gaines or Hayley Morrow. But cry me a river because despite how upset you are it is just business for us. We won’t be stopped. It is worthless to try. (Roberto De La Rosa hands the microphone off to Valerie Hellstorm.) Valerie Hellstorm: Our attacks should have been warning shots. Not incentive for you to continue to pursue us further. It is only in your ignorance that you continue to go down this path. But fine. We will teach you all this lesson and regret it. (Brianna Hill takes the microphone from Valerie Hellstorm.) Brianna Hill: I don’t think you understand the seriousness of this situation. WE MAKE PEOPLE FUCKING DISAPPEAR! This could very easily be the last time any or even all four of you appear on an EAW show. At King of Elite… we will wipe out all of our enemies. (Luis De La Rosa takes the microphone from Brianna Hill.) Luis De La Rosa: Que estupido! You know you are all pretty dumb for wrestlers that we have had to sit back and watch everyone on Voltage say are the premiere athletes of this brand. But as your Hardcore Champion, I mean half of them… I am very intelligent and obviously, I am not willing to just take a chance on what Brianna said. I’m not willing for there to be a maybe we end your careers or maybe we don’t. I want that to be an absolute certainty! Una garantia. That is why at King of Elite I don’t think that we should be competing in just any random match. No, we should compete in a match that I, as the genius of this group, have invented just now on the spot. A Luis De La Rosa original! At King of Elite, we challenge you all to a Time Bomb Exploding Cage Death Match!!! (The entire arena goes silent as everyone looks at each other wondering what Luis is waffling about. The crowd is silent also except for a few people laughing at the idea and not taking it very seriously. Eventually, Roberto De La Rosa takes the microphone.) Roberto De La Rosa: Eres un genio Luis! That’s right! You are about to find out what you are going to be getting yourselves into here. I’m the Hardcore Champion! This means you fuck with me and I am not afraid to get all kinds of Hardcore in this ring! A Time Bomb Exploding Cage Death Match! We challenge you if you are not too pussy to accept. (The camera cuts back up to the ramp where the four wrestlers are shown looking on in disbelief as they huddle clearly discussing what they have just been challenged to.) Rich Russillo: Have we ever even had a match like that in EAW before? That sounds idiotically dangerous… James Peters: It sounds like someone is going to die. They can’t actually be considering accept- TLA: ¡Aceptamos su reto! We ain’t back down from shit. Speaking from personal experience I been in some of the most dangerous matches in EAW history. I ain’t afraid to put my life on the line and I know that the rest of these crazy hijos de puta standing up here with me feel exactly the same way. (TLA hands the microphone off to Michael S. Connor.) Michael S. Connor: Agreed, I’ve personally been through worse in my time in EAW as well. You want to stack the odds against yourself, then you can do that. But with four competitors with a pedigree like we have, one even being a former Hardcore Champion, then it’s safe to say that you asked for this. But then again what’s new? You’ve always asked for this, and we’re going to make sure that we give it to you when the time comes to step into the ring. You are going to be seeing the best of what EAW has to offer and we will personally see to your downfall. (Michael S. Connor hands the microphone off to Jack Ripley.) Jack Ripley: You can call us pussies if you want but a matchtype like that just sweetens the deal. I can speak for all of us when I say that I’ve never backed down from a challenge before, even when it gets tough, I’ll still enter that ring with the determination to win. That’s not to say that competition like yours is difficult at all, but you get the point. The only thing the four of you got going for you is hype, deserved hype, you’ve made quite a bit of noise, but at King of Elite, it’s all going to be smoke and mirrors when we find out just the type of team that you are. One that can make a statement for certain, but also one who can’t back it up when it counts. (Jack Ripley hands the microphone off to Ruler.) Ruler: This is not the battle that you want to fight, but one that you are adamant about, so we will give you it. But it will be more than what you bargained for as well. I appreciate the confidence out of you four, and how you believe, even in the face of tough adversity, that this is your match to win because it will sweeten the deal when we put you down at King of Elite. You made a mistake by bringing me into your sphere of relevancy, and I will make sure that you regret everything that you have done these past couple of weeks when you find yourselves on the wrong side of the equation. King of Elite will be your end, and on behalf of the four of us, I will say that it will not be your night. (Both teams are shown staring each other down as TLA, Jack Ripley, Ruler, and Michael S. Connor make their way down to ringside and confront La Familia as they are leaving the ring. EAW security is shown stepping between them to make sure that violence doesn’t break out.) Rich Russillo: What an insane match for King of Elite! I have no idea what to expect from that! Somebody is going to get blown the hell up! James Peters: RIP to them. But first more Voltage action. TLA will be in action next against Jamie Cross! Stay tuned! (The camera cuts to a commercial break.) (Promotional ad for King of Elite, where the Timb Bomb Exploding Cage Deathmatch will take place.) ( Sunday Night Voltage is back, and Bella Braxton can be seen standing tall with a huge smile on her face, preparing to announce the upcoming competition that is soon to come. ) Bella Braxton: THE FOLLOWING CONTEST IS SCHDULED FOR ONE FALL! Crowd: ONE FALL! ( ‘Ambitionz az a Ridah’ by 2Pac could be heard playing throughout this, and TLA is seen waiting in his corner of the ring. The fans in attendance are all cheering loudly for the Hall of Famer, who had a smirk on his face as he waits for this match to begin. ) Bella Braxton: ALREADY IN THE RING!… FROM TLAXCALA, MEXICO!… WEIGHING IN AT 210 POUNDS!… HE IS THE EAW HARDCORE CHAMPION!… LA PANTERA SEXUAL!!!.. HE!… IS!.… T!.. L!… AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!! ( ‘She’s All I Wanna Be’ by Tate McRae hits first as Jamie Cross walks out, looking down at the floor, pondering about many things like preparations and all that led to this match, then she looks up high and stands proud as she heads straight to the ring with full focus. ) Bella Braxton: AND HIS OPPONENT!… FROM CHICAGO, ILLINOIS!… WEIGHING IN AT 133 POUNDS!… THE MAIN CHARACTER!… JAMIEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!… CROSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!! ( DING DING DING! ) James Peters: TLA has really been pumping up this week, letting Jamie and his foes coming King of Elite that this is his turf. But we’re going to see it from the Hall of Famer first as he’s up to face Jamie Cross right here, right now! Jamie has been on a roll as well, and she already has a few firsts in her match back against the former world champion. This is going to be something great to watch tonight. Persephone: To be honest, I couldn’t care less, especially knowing that this is Jamie Cross-related stuff. Why would anyone want to watch such a nerd crying and running back home like a nobody, still thinking she’s something, when all she’s done since her comeback is beat some random jobber around here? Rich Russillo: Well, I wouldn’t go that far. I think Jamie has actually been doing great, and coming into this match, she could really surprise TLA a whole lot. Who knows? You never know what’s going to come to you soon! TLA can be seen locking up tight in a standard collar and elbow with Jamie at the center of the ring, taking advantage to put Jamie back to the ground and locking in a kneeling facelock! James Peters: Jamie wastes no time, dropping to the ground and shadowing TLA closely, locking his wrist in a hold. TLA counters with a free arm, grabbing Jamie by the neck and taking her down with a headlock takeover, but Jamie quickly reverses before the referee can intervene. Rich Russillo: Both wrestlers roll out of their respective corners, Jamie charges toward TLA and sends him flying with an Armdrag! TLA gets back on his feet and retaliates with one of his own! Jamie stands tall this time, driving her elbow into TLA’s jaw! Jamie then grabs TLA and hurls him towards the ropes. TLA switches it up and sends her down instead. TLA leapfrogs over her as she bounces back… takes Jamie down with a decisive clothesline! Persephone: See? You can tell what I mean when I say I don’t like her stuff because she’s going to look much weaker for the entire match when she’s facing an actual opponent, unless she faces someone that’s not even close to being called a threat! James Peters: Jamie just got dropped to the mat by a powerful clothesline from TLA. TLA then works on wearing her down, shoving her into the corner and maintaining his focus there. TLA throws his hand back…. DELIVERING A PUNISHING CHOP THAT LEAVES JAMIE REELING! BUT TLA ISN’T FINISHED YET; HE QUICKLY REBOUNDS, DELIVERING ANOTHER SHARP CHOP! Rich Russillo: Jamie could be seen striding away, grappling with the relentless pain he’s bearing. TLA isn’t hesitating to exert pressure, wearing Jamie down and steadily advancing his position. Jamie finds herself backed into the corner, TLA persistently pursuing, delivering another forceful chop! Jamie is spun around, TLA maintaining dominance, ensnaring her arms and expertly maneuvering her towards the center of the ring!… TIGER SUPLEX! TLA HOOKS THE LEG! ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! James Peters: JAMIE KICKS OUT! Persephone: Ugh, come on, just rough her up and pin her to three already! Maybe tap her out, I don’t know. I really don’t want to watch this match at all because in the new season, you guys gotta be witnessing me killing myself just because I need to sit through this portion within. I shouldn’t really have to. Unless you pay me extra tonight just because I had to watch this match, please, I beg. This is the toughest time I have ever been through. Rich Russillo: Jamie manages to kick out, and there she’s struggling to get back up on her feet, TLA with some swift moves there, putting her right back down to the ground before landing another one right on her spine! James Peters: Jamie is now back in the midst of the chaos again. TLA tracks her down, follows her down to the ropes, as he slowly puts Jamie up there and leaps, driving his weight against the ropes before throwing his hard right hand back and stepping back to gain some more force… A HARD OPEN HANDED SLAP ACROSS HER CHEST! Rich Russillo: I could sit here and just feel how Jamie feels through the chop. It’s surely an uneasy feeling just how the pain has driven her through and how rough landing that is just for her to be getting hit and lashed by the chop that has just landed on her! James Peters: TLA there not looking for the mercy out there and he’s longing forward to put his works for the win tonight and gain his dominance ahead into the King of Elite. TLA now picking some words, pain, and now having Jamie laid down into the corner, going to give Jamie another chop down there! Persephone: Does this man know only one move? Rich Russillo: She manages to snag the arm just in time before TLA could unleash another brutal chop! TLA yanks his arm free and hurls it back at her, attempting a counterattack, but Jamie deftly grabs hold of his arm again, now firmly in control of TLA!… BUTTERFLY SUPLEX JUST DROVE TLA INTO THE CORNER! James Peters: Jamie could be turning the tide in her favor once more after that Suplex that has just landed, and now rolling back to her feet, gaining momentum while TLA is down there trying to pick himself up again after the Butterfly Suplex has crashed down on him. Jamie then steps right in, and she’s landing a Jumping Knee across the face of TLA!.. OLYMPIC SLAM TAKES HIM DOWN! JAMIE GOES FOR A COVER! ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Rich Russillo: THIS TIME, TLA KICKS OUT! Persephone: Hey, come on, what’s that? Is that all you’ve got? Luis De La Rosa is a superior wrestler than you could ever dream to be. You’re just a mediocre wrestler pretending to be Iron Man, trying to act as cool as him when you all just fade into the background. Rich Russillo: TLA is seen taken down twice just there, Jamie Cross looking to keep this up, and now she seems like she had just walked all the way up to the top and made her way sit high up there, not looking for anything but making sure that she got his focus right for this match. Jamie now climbs to the top, standing tall up there, seeming eager to take flight. TLA remains down, and he might not be stirring anytime soon!…. James Peters: DIVING SHOOTING STAR PRESS???? Rich Russillo: BUT NOBODY’S HOME! Persephone: PFFTT LMFAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO James Peters: TLA could be seen rolling out of harm’s way just in time before things take a turn for the worse for him down there. TLA rises to his feet, gazing towards the future that awaits him, full of potential and teachings from the Hall of Famer soon to come. TLA steps right in and gets Jamie back on top just now!.. ZIG ZAG BRINGS HER RIGHT BACK TO THE GROUND! Rich Russillo: TLA is still far from over just yet, and now he’s coming high off his knees up to his feet. He’s longing up to the top, and he could be seeing that there’s something better than he could do than just rolling around the ring down here. TLA now heading right back up to the top, and there he goes, he reaches the top and Jamie’s still down there, trying to reach back! TLA standing tall and here he goes, TLA is aiming to take flight!… A DIVING MOONSAULT LANDS ON JAMIE! TLA COVERS! ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! James Peters: JAMIE WITH A SHOULDER OFF THE GROUND! Persephone: MANNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN James Peters: TLA wasn’t able to reach the coveted victory here and that leaves him with quite a few things to ponder, knowing that the ending is still far, far away from him. Jamie now can be seen rolling to the center of the ring, trying to stand on her own feet down there while TLA is just patiently observing her and laying some hammer strikes to keep her right back on the ground. TLA now throwing some knees into the side of her gut and leaving Jamie trailing off down onto the ground as she rolls out the same way. Rich Russillo: TLA starts pulling Jamie back up, attempting to regain control. Jamie is doing her utmost to resist, throwing fists and punches at his gut while TLA pushes her down and delivers hard stomps onto her midsection, displaying ambition in the ring at this moment! Persephone: I don’t have hope for her to fight back anytime soon anyway because all I want to see is her suffering tonight. I don’t care about TLA either; the only Mexican wrestler that I still love is Luis De La Rosa, and I hope she comes back to beat his ass after this match soon. James Peters: TLA now is the one getting Jamie right back on top, and now he’s the one turning her all around, seizing and trying to hit the German Suplex. But Jamie, using herself to roll down to the ground instead with a Victory Roll, sends him rolling down there this time. TLA has been thrown down, and Jamie puts herself right back on top!… STANDING SHOOTING STAR PRESS CONNECTS! Rich Russillo: She missed it for the first time, but it’s not going to happen again this time! TLA has just been thrown right back to the ground with a Shooting Star Press. Here’s Jamie Cross, looking to make her move, moving straight towards progress, picking up TLA’s legs, and now she’s looking for a submission to keep him grounded down there!… A SINGLE LEG BOSTON CRAB! TLA IS TRAPPED! James Peters: Jamie might actually be able to take it all just there! The Single Leg Boston Crab has locked in tightly, and TLA’s having trouble finding his way out to the rear, providing Jamie with a chance to strike back and turn the tables! TLA is in serious trouble down there, and we might actually witness something unexpected. Rich Russillo: Jamie could be winning here if TLA taps out. TLA really looks not so great right now, while Jamie piles on so much more pressure and looks for the win that she could be achieving! TLA keeps on moving, but Jamie ensures he’s not going to get out of her hold! TLA tries to reach for the ropes, Jamie scores by pulling him back and right down to the center of the ring! TLA has been trapped right back into the hold once more! James Peters: TLA tries his very best to not go down so easily down there. He’s shaking his head, could be given up or just a sign saying that he’s not going to quit yet. But what we all know right now is that TLA is still looking forward to each of the ropes not so far away from him! TLA’s trying to reach for it, but it’s not going to work out well soon as the pain pushes him right back again! Rich Russillo: Jamie’s still applying more pressure and pain through the move! Jamie’s doing her best right now to put down TLA, the crowd in anticipation whether she wins or not, it would be a big deal if she did! Could he really do it? Would this be it to settle the ordeal? James Peters: Wait, TLA is just trying it again, he’s going towards the rope and he’s got it! TLA might not be feeling so well right now, but he’s working hard to reach it! TLA is determined to get it here no matter what; he needs to get out of this bind, and Jamie still has it locked tight. Wait, she changes the move, and now she’s got the Kneelbar! Rich Russillo: That’s even worse, TLA’s not even in a great state of mind and body right now, this might be over, Jamie could really be winning right here with the Kneelbar! TLA struggles hard, but Jamie just keeps on making sure TLA won’t be leaving the arena with a win or anything else! She’s here to beat this match, the game that she’s playing right now! James Peters: But TLA is still going to try, try, and try more, and there he is! He’s faintly reaching for the rope, and the referee finally forces Jamie to let TLA off the hold! Rich Russillo: TLA has just beaten it out and able to escape as Jamie rolls out, sitting just there, tired of what she’s just been through, just done there! Jamie couldn’t believe he got away when she could have won it right there! James Peters: That’s what’s going to make it better for Jamie here, Jamie with the momentum fueling her now, picking TLA right back off the ground to his feet, Jamie securing her bag and now!…. LOOKING FOR THE AUTHOR’S SPECIAL! Rich Russillo: TLA WAS ABLE TO GET OUT OF THE BIND, AND JAMIE FAILS TO CATCH HIM DOWN WITH THE RAZOR EDGE POWERBOMB INTO THE CORNER! JAMIE TURNS AROUND INTO THE SWAG SHOT FROM TLA! THE PALM SLAP CONNECTS, AND ANOTHER ONE FROM TLA! JAMIE SPRAWLS HER KNEES!… James Peters: TLA JUST STEPS RIGHT BACK IN AND PICKS HER RIGHT BACK OFF THE GROUND! SHE’S STILL FAR AWAY FROM OVER! DESMADRE CONNECTS WITH THE REBOUND SITOUT POWERBOMB, THE ROPES CATCHING JAMIE, AND THERE GOES A COVER! Persephone: COUNT IT! COUNT! COUNT! ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! THREE- Rich Russillo: JAMIE KICKS OUT BEFORE THREE! James Peters: TLA IS ON THE BRINK OF CALLING IT QUITS RIGHT THERE, BUT JAMIE NARROWLY ESCAPES BEFORE THINGS ESCALATE FURTHER FOR HER! JAMIE ENDURED TWO SWAG SHOTS FOLLOWED BY THE DESMADRE POWERBOMB, NEARLY KNOCKING HER OUT. HOWEVER, TLA HAS ONE LAST MOVE UP HIS SLEEVE TO END THIS. Rich Russillo: TLA ASCENDS TO THE TOP, AIMING TO SEAL THE DEAL, WITH JAMIE BACK ON HER FEET. James Peters: THE MEXICAN DESTROYER IS SET TO FINISH HER OFF! Rich Russillo: JAMIE MANAGED TO SNAP BACK JUST IN TIME AND STARTS SWINGING. TLA DROPS TO BOTH KNEES, AND JAMIE BOLTS OUT OF THERE WHILE TLA IS STILL RECUPERATING AS QUICKLY AS HE CAN FROM HIS POSITION!… SILVER KNEE TO TLA! DROPPING INTO A COVER! SHE HITS IT! ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! THREE- James Peters: AGAIN! TLA IS STILL ABLE TO CRAWL OUT OF THERE JUST IN TIME, AND JAMIE COULDN’T BELIEVE IT, BELIEVING THAT TLA HAS JUST CHEATED TIME OFF THE SILVER KNEE! JAMIE IS TRULY FRUSTRATED AND MAD THAT IT DOESN’T PLAY OUT WELL FOR HER RIGHT NOW, AND SHE RUNS OFF FOR BOTH FEET FOR ANOTHER ATTACK!… SILVER KNEE AGAIN! Rich Russillo: NOW, JAMIE IS HEADING UP HIGH, AND SHE’S HEADING STRAIGHT FOR WHAT HAS JUST OCCURRED, GOING STRAIGHT TO WHERE TLA IS STILL DOWN THERE AND NOW PICKING RIGHT BACK FOR THE GROUNDS. SHE BRINGS HIM UP, AND SHE COULD BE LONG FOR THE ARC REACTOR! James Peters: NO! TLA IS ABLE TO SLIP OUT AT THE LAST MINUTE WITH JAMIE LUNGING AT HIM, AIMING RIGHT TOWARDS WHERE TLA IS. TLA JUMPS BACK AND HITS HER WITH A CARTWHEEL KICK! THE PELE KICK TAKES DOWN JAMIE CROSS TO THE GROUND. TLA QUICKLY GETS BACK ON HER FEET AND MAKES A RUN DOWN BY THE ROPES, BOUNCING OFF THE BACK – Rich Russillo: JAMIE NAILS A HARD HITTING LARIAT, CUTTING TLA OFF! TLA HAS BEEN FLIPPED OUT AND KNOCKED DOWN, KNOCKED OUT COLD ON THE GROUND! Persephone: ?????? James Peters: THE HALL OF FAMER IS REALLY IN DANGER RIGHT NOW, AND JAMIE COULD BE LOOKING TO FINISH IT OFF HERE. SHE PICKS TLA RIGHT UP WHERE HE FALLS, DOWN TO HER SLUMBER, AND PUTS TLA IN POSITION. HE’S LOOKING UP HIGH! JAMIE IS SET TO PUT TLA DOWN WITH THE ARC REACTOR AGAIN! Rich Russillo: JAMIE! Persephone: FUCKING SUCKS! James Peters: SHE’S NOT ABLE TO LAND IT COMPLETELY AS TLA HAS JUST TAKEN TO HIS FEET ONCE MORE AND NAILS HER RIGHT WITH A FIERCE SHOULDER CHARGE INTO HER BACK, FOLLOWED BY A QUICK SWING BACK ELBOW ACROSS HER FACE, AND THEN JAMIE FALLS RIGHT DOWN TO THE GROUND! TLA, THEN, FIERCELY PUTS THE BOOTS TO HER, GIVING HER SOME STRONG SHOTS TO THE BACK OF HER HEAD, REPEAT AND GO AFTER ROUND AFTER! TLA IS NOWHERE NEAR TO BE DONE! Rich Russillo: NOW PICKS HER UP, DELIVERING A FOREARM TO JAMIE AS TLA NOW PICKS HER RIGHT BACK UP FROM THE GROUND! James Peters: VERY MEXICAN UPPERCUT! Persephone: OH COME THE FUCK ON!!!!!! ( After the uppercut lands, Jamie quickly rolls and tumbles out of the ring, with TLA attempting to pin her but failing to do so in time, eventually collapsing to the ground. ) James Peters: That Very Mexican Uppercut has just landed smoothly and perfectly there, opening the window of opportunity for TLA to pick up a win. Rich Russillo: Unfortunately, Jamie has just rolled out to the ringside, and thus, it’s time to check if she’s okay while TLA is now starting to rise to his own feet, ready to refocus on the match and push towards the final outcome. Persephone: We must wrap this match up ASAP. I’m not sticking around anymore. It’s dragging on for too long, and honestly, I couldn’t care less about the outcome now! I don’t want anything to do with Jamie Cross, so watching this is just plain gross! I’m exhausted. I’M SO FUCKING TIRED! CAN YOU HEAR ME???? FUCK! AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!! *screams* Rich Russillo: Jamie is out there on the outside, but she might not get up anytime soon. TLA is taking matters into his own hands now. TLA grabs Jamie- BUT JAMIE RUSHES INTO THE APRON, SENDING TLA BACK FIRST INTO IT! JAMIE NOW WITH AN UPPERCUT! A SECOND! A THIRD! JAMIE NOW- James Peters: NO! TLA JUST PUSHED JAMIE AWAY, BEFORE CONNECTING WITH A SECOND VERY MEXICAN UPPERCUT! TLA NOW SENDING JAMIE BACK INTO THE RING, AND I THINK JAMIE MAY BE OUT! TLA now rushing up to the top rope while Jamie Cross is still hurting, AND NOW HE DIVES OFF THE TOP ROPE BEFORE CONNECTING WITH BURNOUT!!!! BURNOUT CONNECTS, AND I THINK JAMIE JUST DIDN’T HAVE ENOUGH LEFT IN HER TO KEEP FIGHTING! TLA NOW HOOKING THE LEGS, AND THIS HAS TO BE IT! ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! ( DING DING DING! ) Bella Braxton: Here is your winner… TTT!!! LLLL!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!! James Peters: Great effort by Jamie Cross, but in the end TLA was able to pick up the victory and move onto King of Elite with the momentum on his side. Rich Russillo: TLA is a Hall of Famer and multiple time World Champion for a reason. It’s not easy keeping someone like that down, which is why La Familia has a tough challenge on their hands next week. Persephone: No they don’t, not while they have Luis on their team. TLA can’t compare to a guy like him. James Peters: Anyways, congratulations to TLA! (‘Ambitionz Az a Ridah’ hits, and the fans cheer as TLA pushes himself back to his feet. The referee raises his hand, meanwhile Jamie Cross slowly rolls out of the ring in pain. As TLA goes to celebrate his victory, Voltage begins to fade away from ringside.) (Commercial for Marvel’s Echo, now on Disney+.) (Sunday Night Voltage fades back in as ‘I Rise’ by Cory Marks is heard playing through the PA system. The camera goes over to show Donovan Duke and Mia Santoro as they make their way out to the stage. The duo stands side-by-side with confident expressions on their face before they then begin to make their way down the ramp and toward the ring from there.) Bella Braxton: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome… the team of DONOVAN DUKE AND MIA SANTORO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rich Russillo: Well we saw last week on Voltage the dramatic ending involving The Jaded Hearts and their Tag Title challengers, Donovan and Mia. Similar to the week prior where the team would throw Kassidy and Sienna into electrical equipment on the stage, the fight looked to be a matter of Kassidy and Sienna returning the favor but Donovan and Mia would end up taking them down with them in a massive boom. James Peters: Now with just a week before King of Elite it is safe to say that the excitement level for this match especially after everything that happened is completely through the roof. Donovan and Mia are making their way out and I would not be at all surprised if the Champions were to make an appearance either. Persephone: UGHHHHHH NO BORING HEARTS GET THEM OUT OF HERE!!! (Donovan and Mia make their way into the ring before taking a microphone from the ringside area for themselves. ‘I Rise’ begins to come to a close as Donovan and Mia stand at the center of the ring, beginning to speak.) Donovan Duke: Just a week away from the King of Elite Marquee Event, and I could not be more excited. This match that Mia and I are participating in has been a long time coming, and I don’t know about you, honey, but I’ve been looking to get my hands on The Jaded Hearts for a long time. (Mia smirks and nods her head as Donovan continues on.) Donovan Duke: We saw what Kassidy and Sienna had to say for themselves on Dynasty this week, and honestly, we are not that impressed. They think that they can play games with us and toy around like #DoMia is not the fiercest competition that they’ve had for those Tag Titles yet, but they’ll realize soon enough that they’ve got a whole lot coming for them. Mia Santoro: Because they can do whatever they want to make themselves feel better about their chances, but we’re not going to fold. We have worked tirelessly in order to get to this point and even after everything that they have thrown at us in spite of that we are still here. We are still fighting and we are fighting harder than before, and not even presumably the greatest tag team in the world is going to take that away from us. We’ve earned our stripes, we’ve earned everything that we have fought for, and we are very confident in our chances of walking out of South Africa next week as the new Unified Tag Team Champions. Donovan Duke: For the past couple of weeks it has been nothing but insults and frustration, with Kassidy and Sienna thinking that they can be the puppet masters in this sick, twisted game and try and emotionally pick us apart. It disappoints me to see that they get enjoyment out of this, that they can be content with using us as a means of entertainment rather than treating us as the Elitists that we are and the challengers that we will be to their titles. Well I’m here to say if it hasn’t been made apparent already that I am sick of the games, and I am sick of The Jaded Hearts thinking that they can play around with us. If that is really the hill that you want to die on, well then, don’t say we didn’t warn you, but that’s going to turn out to be the biggest mistake that you’ve made in your careers. Mia Santoro: We are not your average tag team, we are not just going to allow you to dispose of us as you see fit just because we don’t fit the mold of what you desire in a challenger. We are going to fight and as Donny said, it’s on you if you aren’t taking us seriously now. It’s on you if you want to continue to underestimate us as you would any other opponent, because that’s going to end up being your downfall. Once King of Elite is said and done you’ll have no choice but to take us seriously, and- (‘True Love’ by CFO$ begins to hit through the speakers as the crowd is in an uproar seeing the Unified Tag Team Champions The Jaded Hearts are seen making their way out. With Kassidy Heart and Sienna Jade already having microphones in their hand, they signal for their music to fade as they begin to speak toward Donovan and Mia from there.) Kassidy Heart: Sienna, are these two really trying to scold us? Sienna Jade: 🥺 D’awwwww, we were just having a little bit of fun! We apologize for hurting your widdle feelings. Kassidy Heart: In case you didn’t realize, you don’t tell us what we can or can’t do. If you got a problem with that, then I really do not give a fuck. From the very beginning, since you made the mistake of even challenging us in the first place, it has been established that we are the superior tag team. I mean, was there any question about that in the first place? (Kassidy and Sienna snicker to one another, shaking their heads as they climb onto the apron and eye Donovan and Mia.) Sienna Jade: Damn right, and if we let what anyone said affect that then pft, we wouldn’t be the greatest tag team in EAW point blank. We never let people who are lesser than us, especially the likes of you, determine how we approach a match because unlike you two heading into King of Elite we actually know what the fuck we’re doing. We’ve been doing this for years now whether separately or together and inside the ring we are untouchable. We have a Hall of Fame pedigree for a reason and are more likely to have a status erected in front of EAW Headquarters than you thank you very much, we’ve been the superior tag team over “#dOmIa” and we’re not going to be afraid to say it at all. Kassidy Heart: You two are so eager to try and distinguish yourselves from the pack. Say that you’re different from everyone else and that you are the outliers in comparison to every other opponent that we have faced. But if you really want our opinion then our opinion is that you haven’t done enough to prove it. You haven’t done anything remarkable or groundbreaking that will get us out of our seats and give us a reason to really care about anything that you said. So as I said before, and I feel the need to cram it into your thick skulls since it wasn’t made apparent earlier, we can do whatever the fuck that we want to do. You called us the puppet masters and that’s all good and well, but it’s not like you’re going to do anything about it because regardless it all ends the same way. Sienna Jade: Greatness is not #DoMia, not at all, greatness is The Jades Hearts and what we have done. I will admit that there comes a point where I do get quite irritated because the tag team division comes with a combined two brain cells per each team, but at the same time it does give me knowledge heading into situations like these as I am reminded just how stupid they are and better yet, how easy they fall. You want to get your feelings hurt because we did this or that, we killed your pet cat or called you off of work whatever, but if you’re so adamant on proving us wrong well then we’re waiting! You had every chance in the world but even then you still managed to fuck it all up! And at King of Elite you’ll fuck up again, that’s really all that needs to be said. (Kassidy and Sienna enter into the ring as they get into the face of Donovan and Mia, who are of course not all that happy right now about all of this.) Donovan Duke: You do not get to dictate how this gets to go down. You do not at all get to say how the match at King of Elite is going to turn out. The only people that have a say in that are the ones that end up as the better team in the end, and Mia and I are planning for that to be ourselves. Kassidy Heart: That’s kewt… Sienna Jade: But we didn’t ask. Mia Santoro: And that has been your fatal flaw. We have given you every single reason to care about us and given you every single reason to pay attention, but despite that you want to push us away and say that we are just not worth your time? How stupid can you be? We knew that it was never going to be easy and that we would be stepping into our biggest challenge yet, but we have not backed down. We are not going to back down just because you said so. Sienna Jade: Aw, that’s real sweet. Kassipoo, that does sound familiar though, where have we heard of this before? Kassidy Heart: With every other tag team that has faced The Jaded Hearts. Sienna Jade: Indubitably. I don’t feel like running them down because I feel like it’s beating on a dead horse if I do, but the reality is that you try so hard to be different but in your efforts you have made yourself sound exactly the same as everyone else. Kassidy Heart: Maybe that just goes to show the level of competition that we are, to warrant this type of approach that everyone has had toward The Jaded Hearts. But has it really been worth their efforts considering that we have not fallen yet? Donovan Duke: And that’s fine, because we know exactly who you are. You’re acting like we’re coming into this unmanned and unprepared, and that we don’t have a clue about what we’re going up against, but we know just how much of a threat The Jaded Hearts are, and just because that hadn’t stopped us means that you have to create this false narrative surrounding us? I’ve been in the ring before with you, I’m not unprepared by any means thank you very much. Mia Santoro: We have put you through just as much hell as you put us through, and now we’re ready to prove that we deserve this and that we do belong. This is our moment, this is our time- Kassidy Heart: “aNd ThE JadEd HearTs Aren’T gOinG to Stop YOu- (The sound of a microphone dropping is heard as Donovan is seen quickly approaching the two of them and looking to attack, starting a brawl after seemingly hearing enough out of them. And while Kassidy and Sienna look ready to go, trying to egg them on in the process, Mia is quick to shoot forward and hold Donovan back, calming him down as she speaks into the microphone.) Mia Santoro: You’ve caused us a whole lot of anger and frustration these past couple of weeks, and at King of Elite we are going to unleash it on you if it means coming out as the new Unified Tag Team Champions. (Kassidy and Sienna look toward one another, rolling their eyes.) Kassidy Heart: Whatever. (The Jaded Hearts drop their microphones down to the ground as ‘True Love’ is heard playing through the speakers of the arena. They raise their titles up into the air as Donovan and Mia approach, looking up at them as the tension heading into King of Elite has reached an all time high. The two teams staring each other down is the last shot seen before Sunday Night Voltage from there begins to fade out to elsewhere.) (Voltage cuts backstage and focuses on Hayley Morrow. After suffering yet another beating at the hands of La Familia last week, Hayley looks frustrated. She had an interview scheduled with Sofia Clarke, but opted to blow it off. She had nothing to say at this point because very quickly, things had started to spiral for her. She had come into EAW looking to restart her career on her own terms, but things hadn’t exactly panned out for Hayley the way she’d hoped. Currently, she was out of action for the next two weeks thanks to a concussion and some bruised ribs she suffered last week. Hayley wouldn’t be able to compete at King of Elite and that made her angry. The whole situation made her angry and part of her wanted to throw in the towel.) (But then she thought of him.) (Ruler had somewhat extended a hand to her and for this battle, he was on her side. He had now joined the war against La Familia alongside TLA, Lt. Major Michael Connor, and Jack Ripley. It was a motley crew, that was for sure, but Hayley had no doubt that they would be the ones to bring La Familia to their knees come King of Elite.) (She wanted to be a part of it.) ???: (off-camera) Hayley. (She spun around, wincing as she did. Ruler was behind her and as usual, his face was impassive. Hayley couldn’t get a read on him, but for some reason she felt she could trust him.) Hayley Morrow: I want to be at King of Elite. Ruler: I’m sure you do. It’s shaped up to be an eventful night for Alexis and myself, though I saw a much different scenario for myself. Hayley Morrow: You must be so disappointed. Ruler: That is the very least of what I feel, but no matter. What’s done is done. Alexis will sink, or they will finally swim. I have my suspicions of how the finals will go for them. (Hayley says nothing. It is not her place to speak on Alex Myers’ chances to win King of Elite. She simply looks up at Ruler and waits for him to continue.) Ruler: I simply don’t wish to spend the time picking up the broken pieces of Alexis’ heart. I have my own agenda now, though it is more so yours. Do you agree? (Hayley blinked and bit down on her bottom lip. It was her fight that Ruler had involved himself in for reasons she did not dare speculate on.) Hayley Morrow: Of course it’s my problem and you don’t have to get involved. I never expected you to. (Ruler puts his finger to her lips in an effort to silence her.) Ruler: What’s done is done, but there’s a method to the madness. Walk with me. (It was a gentle command but Hayley felt compelled to comply. The two walked down the hallway, blanketed by silence, until they came to a set of doors. Ruler pushed them open and both walked into the cool, rather calm night. They came to a stop, just a few feet from the building, and once again, the two turn to look at one another.) Ruler: What are you thinking? Hayley Morrow: I think it’s obvious that I want to be able to compete at King of Elite and make La Familia pay for what they’ve done to me. I’m pissed that I’m going to be on the sidelines watching four other people beat the hell out of them. It’s not fair. Roberto, Luis, Valerie, and Brianna deserve to suffer and I want in on that. (Ruler regards Hayley and nods his head, as if he expected that to be her answer.) Ruler: The circumstances don’t allow you to be, but I can assure you that vengeance will be delivered, even if it’s not by your hand. La Familia cemented themselves as public enemy number one and while Alexis is otherwise representing NICHOLISM in the King of Elite finals, I won’t sit idly by and wait for something to happen. There’s a reason I have chosen to get involved in this on your behalf, Hayley. (Hayley, for her part, is almost afraid to ask why.) Ruler: I believe there’s potential locked inside of you that needs to be released. You showed just how determined you are to make a name for yourself and I can respect that. I can also respect the fact you sought me out knowing your history when it comes to working alongside others. It is not so easy to put your trust into another person, especially when it was your own family that left you out to dry. (Hayley’s pale cheeks redden, flush with anger at the memory of just how badly her father treated her.) Hayley Morrow: What is family, really? Being a blood relative to someone doesn’t mean they suddenly have to love you and treat you like you matter. I was abused and used, and I didn’t even realize that was happening. I just wanted to please my father and doing his bidding was the only thing I could do. It sickens me to think of the time I wasted and how bitter it made me towards this sport. Signing with EAW was the break I needed, but at every corner, I find myself hindered. I’m haunted by the past, and quite frankly, the future isn’t looking that appealing either. (Ruler gently took a hold of Hayley’s chin and tilted it upwards so the two of them could maintain eye contact. Hayley’s first instinct was to avert her eyes, but Ruler did not allow that.) Ruler: You have faced multiple setbacks, but at King of Elite, the primary source of your problems will be put to rest. I have no doubt that TLA, Ripley, Connor, and myself will do what’s necessary to get the job done, especially in a match as barbaric sounding as the one we’re being placed in. It should be interesting and hopefully it will bring you closure once it is said and done. Hayley Morrow: I don’t know if ‘closure’ is the right word, but I will take anything at this point. I just want to see La Familia get what they deserve, even if it doesn’t come at my own hands. Ruler: There will be more opportunities in the future, especially when it comes to what this is between the two of us. (Hayley’s crystal clear blue eyes widen in surprise and Ruler lets her chin go, satisfied that she’s paying close attention to him.) Hayley Morrow: What do you mean? Ruler: I have taken it upon myself to do this for you, and in turn, I expect something from you. Now before you see this as a flash from the past, allow me to explain. No good deed goes unpunished, and I am entering into a situation that has very little to do with me at the moment unless you factor in my association with you. I don’t mind that. I know Roberto and his gang have done a number on you and are solely responsible for the fact you won’t be able to compete at the first tri-branded show of the new year. I will handle this for you, and in the future, you can handle business for me. (Hayley is unsure of what to say because memories of her past have started to plague her.) Ruler: I see you as a ruthless, cutthroat woman who will survive by any means necessary, and that right there holds more value than you could ever possibly realize. With the proper guidance and teaching, there will be nothing you can’t accomplish and that is why I have taken an interest in you and your development as an Elitist. Hayley Morrow: So what exactly are you getting at? (Ruler allowed himself to hint at a smile.) Ruler: Alexis and I have our own vision for NICHOLISM, and we both have aspirations for our singles careers as well. I know that you have your own dreams of finding your way to the throne and truly becoming the ‘Black Rose Immortal’. I will help you get there. I will teach you. I will guide you. I will take your hand and lead you towards the promised land. (Hayley wasn’t sure what to think at the moment. She had plenty of conversations with Ruler over the last couple of months, and he had been very instrumental in helping her get adjusted to life as an Elitist. He was full of knowledge and willing to share, and part of her felt like it was too good to be true. In her experience, everyone wanted something from her, even if she had nothing to offer. She knew her face betrayed her suspicions.) Ruler: I am nothing like your father, Hayley. He would not have taken on the burden of La Familia on your behalf. (Hayley had to acquiesce to that point.) Hayley Morrow: But you understand why I hesitate. Ruler: I do. But I also know that you know that I’m right. Hayley Morrow: You are. Ruler: Together, we can get you where you want to be; where you deserve to be. And I have no doubt that you will become very useful to me. (Ruler extends his hand. Hayley looks at it and after a moment, she takes it. Electricity charges in the air and without any warning, Ruler blinds Hayley with a stream of black mist. Hayley lets out a shriek and starts clawing at her eyes, while lighting crackles in between them, sending Hayley to the ground. She is quivering and convulsing, writhing around on the ground. Ruler drops down beside her and gathers her in his arms, consoling her and rocking her back and forth as if she were a child.) Ruler: Shhhhh. The Ruler of Everything is in control now. Everything is going to be okay. You will become who she should have been… (As Ruler continues to rock a screaming and crying Hayley, the scene fades to black.) (‘Blood, Milk & Sky’ by White Zombie hits, and as always, this causes the crowd to explode with cheers. The camera pans over to the stage, and immediately the Universal Women’s Champion is seen storming out. Minerva is carrying her Championship on her shoulder and holding a microphone in her hand, but as she walks down the ramp it becomes clearer to the fans that right now the Champion is furious.) James Peters: Minerva is out here after a heated contract signing last week, and I can’t say I’m too surprised by the fact that Minerva isn’t happy. It seems like every week now Usagi has pulled something just to try and get under Minerva’s skin. Rich Russillo: Last week Usagi threw salt in Minerva’s eyes, blinding her just long enough for Usagi to take out the Champion. There’s been a lot of discussion over whether or not Usagi is making a mistake, but one thing is for sure. Minerva is definitely waiting for her chance to get her hands on Usagi again. Persephone: I don’t know why she needs to come cry to us about what happened last week. If you’re being outsmarted by a career loser like Usagi Senshi, that’s your fault. (Minerva enters the ring, and ‘Blood, Milk & Sky’ begins to fade out. As Minerva walks into the center of the ring, she begins to speak.) Minerva: I’ve been here for a long time. Long enough that I’ve been through what feels like countless different feuds that have all become personal when they never had to be. Sometimes it was because I chose to cross the line. Other times it was because my opponent did it. With that said, I have a very long history with situations like this, a history that’s available for anyone to go back and see for themselves. That’s why I don’t understand Usagi Senshi. I don’t understand how someone like her, someone that’s already at a disadvantage facing me, could actually think it’s a good idea to provoke me for an entire month heading into the biggest match of her life. Even after everything I’ve been through Usagi thinks it’s a good idea attacking those I care about and that just tells me she has no idea who I really am. Usagi has no idea what she has done. She has no idea what she’ll be walking into at King of Elite, and the moment our match begins, she won’t just be at a disadvantage facing the best EAW has to offer. She’ll have set herself up to be humiliated by someone who has no problem going down this road. Minerva: Usagi is going to pay at King of Elite, and that’s putting it lightly. For weeks now she’s been holding what happened to my friend over my head thinking that this all will result in her facing a Minerva that’s letting her emotions get the better of her, but in reality Usagi has been digging her own grave. She’s been hurting her own chances of being taken seriously as a competitor, because at King of Elite I’m not just going to defeat her. I’m going to make sure she leaves King of Elite having realized that the LAST thing you want to do is try to push Minerva. (The fans begin cheering loudly, but the look on Minerva’s face doesn’t change. However, she does turn towards the stage as she continues speaking.) Minerva: I know you’re here Usagi, so I just hope you realize that your time is up once King of Elite comes around. I’m done playing games with you and I’m done allowing you to feel like you actually have the upper hand here. You’ve done enough, and all this is going to come back to bite you the second we enter the ring next weekend. You already have a lot to answer for Usagi, so why don’t you do yourself a favor and get out here instead of hiding? You already hid behind the British Invasion and I’m sure you remember how that worked out for you. You’ve been hiding behind cheap tricks for the last few weeks, too. If you want anyone to believe that you’re even half the competitor you say you are, get out here. (Minerva patiently waits in the ring for a response, and after a little while, ‘A Cruel Angel’s Thesis’ by Yoko Takahashi hits. This causes loud boos to come from the fans in attendance, and eventually Usagi Senshi begins to slowly walk out. Usagi is holding a microphone in her hand, but when she reaches the stage she stops there, choosing not to walk down the ramp and meet Minerva in the ring. Minerva immediately notices this, and begins to speak.) Minerva: So you won’t be joining me in the ring? Usagi Senshi: Do I need to? King of Elite is next week. I’ll join you in the ring then, right before I take the Universal Women’s Championship from you. (Minerva doesn’t look at all impressed hearing this from Usagi, and quickly responds.) Minerva: So you still think taking this Championship from me will be that easy? Usagi Senshi: Regardless of what I think, you’re the last person that should be feeling underestimated. You’ve been underestimating me for the past month, all while crying about my actions every single week. You couldn’t even handle a few words last week, and now you’re blaming me for that as if I should be worrying about my opponent’s feelings. I’m going to be doing far worse to you at King of Elite than throwing some salt in your face Minerva, so instead of walking out here every week and telling everyone how dangerous you are, you should finally take some time to think about how dangerous I am. I’m the challenger here. I’m the one that has the opportunity to ruin your reign as Universal Women’s Champion and cut this reign short on your first defense. Everything is on the line for you, so you can’t afford to sit here and brush off your opponents without taking the time to even consider whether or not they can beat you. You’re so convinced that I don’t know what I’m doing just because I pissed you off, but how do you know that? What makes you think I’m not already familiar with your history? I was able to meet up with your friend recently, so I can’t be that clueless. (The fans immediately begin to boo once again after hearing this from Usagi, but Usagi doesn’t pay any attention to the fans or the reaction they’re giving her, instead continuing to speak.) Usagi Senshi: I’m past the point of having to prove anything to you. If you have any recollection of these last few weeks you should already realize that I know exactly what I’m getting myself into. I said at the very beginning of this that I wasn’t the same Usagi Senshi that faced you a year ago at Tempest and these last few weeks I have done more than enough to prove exactly that. Now it’s on you to prove something, Minerva. You need to prove that you’re actually taking your challenger seriously. You need to prove that you actually care about leaving King of Elite with that Championship, because I’m not doing all of this just to get under your skin. I’m not doing all of this just to play games with you. When I leave King of Elite it’ll be with my first World Championship, and with the attitude you’ve had since I walked out here and challenged you in the first place, you might not even be the challenge you were last year. King of Elite is only a week away. You need to either acknowledge who your challenger really is, or lose your title without even putting up a good fight- Minerva: You can’t beat me. (The fans begin to cheer, and Usagi looks annoyed after being interrupted by Minerva like this.) Minerva: I said it once, and I’ll say it however many more times I need to until King of Elite comes around. You don’t have what it takes, and I’m not sure if you thought all of this was going to change that fact, but it really doesn’t. You can mess with me, you can target my friends, you can get help from others, but none of that changes who you are as a wrestler and as a wrestler you’re not good enough to take the Universal Women’s Championship from me. You know what it took for me to get to this title in the first place. Being better than you were a year ago isn’t enough, so it’s time you stop clutching at the bare minimum. Usagi Senshi: You can say what you want now, Minerva. Make whatever promises you need to, but I know I can beat you. It’s not just about the fact that I’m better than I was before, it’s about the fact that you don’t understand me at all. That’s why you keep being surprised every single week, and why this is so personal to you now. You didn’t expect any of this from me, and the match hasn’t even started yet. If I was willing to do all this before King of Elite you need to think about what I’ll be willing to do once that Championship is actually on the line. You’re going to be surprised again at King of Elite, and it’s going to cost you the Championship you went through the entire Iconic Cup tournament and Kassidy Heart for. This reign of yours will go down in history, because it’ll end without a single successful defense. Minerva: You just don’t get it, do you? I’m not sure if you’re doing this on purpose or if you really are as stupid as I thought you were, but everything that happens at King of Elite will be out of your control. You never had what it took to take me down but the second you made things personal and decided it’d be a good idea to hurt people who had nothing to do with this match, you took this to a level you’re not ready for. You’re going to regret everything that’s happened over this past month, and I really do mean everything. Attacking Contessa, sending the British Invasion to do your dirty work, when this is done you’ll even regret thinking you were ready for a match against me. You can’t prepare for something like this. You’re not going to shock the world, or surprise me. You already exposed the world to the fact that you’re a coward, all that’s left is to beat you and force you to admit that you screwed up. You’re losing at King of Elite, and when it happens you won’t get to hang onto a “career defining performance” like last time, because I’ll make sure this is the most embarrassing moment of your entire career. (This received loud cheers from the crowd, and before long, ‘Blood, Milk & Sky’ begins to play once again. Usagi Senshi doesn’t say anything, instead just staring at the Universal Women’s Champion.) James Peters: Some strong words from both women in King of Elite’s Universal Women’s Championship match, but only one can win! Things have become far more personal than many expected when this match originally became official, but I have to say this will be an exciting one. Rich Russillo: Minerva is clearly ready for King of Elite, but we know that Usagi Senshi isn’t above using dirty tactics. With the way things have gone these last few weeks, I’m not sure what will happen! Persephone: I do. We’ll see an unbearably boring match that belongs nowhere near a marquee event, let alone one of the biggest events of the entire year. (As Minerva’s music continues to play, the Universal Women’s Champion and her challenger have a staredown, with Minerva inside of the ring and Usagi still on the stage. With this, Voltage begins to fade away from ringside and to a commercial break.) (Promotional ad for King of Elite, where Minerva defends the Universal Women’s Championship against Usagi Senshi.) (The camera returns to the ring where Bella Braxton is standing with a microphone ready to begin the introductions for the next contest.) Bella Braxton: The following contest is scheduled for ONE FALL! Crowd: ONE FALL! (‘Kashmir’ by Led Zeppelin (Paratus Intro) starts to play as Jamie O’Hara enters the arena to cheers from the crowd. He is ready for action as he heads right to the ring.) Bella Braxton: Introducing first and making his way to the ring! Residing in Los Angeles, California. Weighing in at 190 pounds. Here is “ACE” JAMIE O’HARA! James Peters: The legendary Jamie O’ Hara making his way to the ring for singles action and he has certainly found himself in a very interesting rivalry alongside Cameron Ella Ava against Harper Lee. Persephone: They are both just jealous that they are old and decrepit and not as young as that other loud bitch Harper Lee. Sad and depressing. Rich Russillo: The challenge was thrown out for a tag team match at King of Elite. Harper had to find a partner and Jamie’s opponent is the person who stepped up to the challenge. (Jamie enters the ring and takes his corner as he starts to take off his ring jacket. Seconds later, his theme is replaced by ‘Freewill’ by Roisee and ARIA enters the area to just as loud cheers from the crowd as she makes her way to the ring. ) Bella Braxton: Introducing his opponent! From Chandler, Arizona. Weighing 110 pounds. Here is “THE ABSOLUTE TRUTH” ARIA! (As ARIA is making her way to the ring, the camera cuts to ringside showing both Cameron Ella Ava and Harper Lee standing at ringside for this match.) Persephone: Oh gawd. Why the hell do we have so many dumb bimbos? One coming down to the ring because she is stupid to team up with someone who has a worse track record with tag partners than Jake Smith. Now we have two more at ringside. Where’s Luis? I need him. Rich Russillo: Stop that! ARIA last week showed how big of a person she is by stepping up to Harper’s partner. They don’t like each other, but ARIA was willing to help someone in trouble. James Peters: That tag match will be exciting at King of Elite, but tonight, ARIA has a big task ahead of her as she takes on Jamie O’Hara. Will speed or experience win this battle? We’re about to find out. (ARIA enters the ring and takes her corner as her entrance music fades off. Cameron and Harper are standing next to their respective partners at ringside as the referee checks both competitors and calls for the bell.) (DING! DING! DING!) James Peters: Here we go! Match is underway and Jamie is looking to lock up in the center of the ring. ARIA is looking to oblige, BUT ARIA DUCKS UNDER JAMIE TO GET BEHIND HIM! Rich Russillo: Jamie caught off guard and ARIA WITH A DROPKICK TO JAMIE’S BACK TO SEND HIM STUMBLING TO THE ROPES! Nice offense by ARIA early on. Persephone: It’s because the dumb bitch is too small to take on Mr. Ava with an upfront assault. I guess maybe she does have some brain power… I guess. Not a good choice for partners though. James Peters: Of course. But even Jamie was impressed a bit with that little bait and switch by ARIA, but now that he is aware of what ARIA is capable of, he now has his guard up for some of her tricks. Persephone: Yeah yeah. Blah blah blah. Now there is a standoff in the middle of the ring. Now none of this crap. If this match is gonna suck, at least bring Luis out so I can be entertained. Rich Russillo: That won’t happen. Right now, Jamie fires off a clothesline that ARIA ducks as Jamie hits the ropes. Jamie comes back as ARIA puts her head down– Persephone: BLAMO! BICYCLE KNEE BLASTS THAT LITTLE BITCH RIGHT IN THE FACE! Finally this match is getting tolerable. I hope there’s lots of blood now. James Peters: ARIA hits the mat holding her face in pain. Two different reactions at ringside. Cameron is cheering and Harper is yelling at ARIA to get back up and fight. Rich Russillo: ARIA could have a broken nose as Jamie turns about AND CLOBBERS ARIA WITH A DISCUS LARIAT! ARIA IS DOWN ONCE AGAIN! James Peters: Jamie is in firm control right now as he brings ARIA back to her feet AND JUST STARTS STRIKING HER IN THE GUT WITH THOSE REPEATED KNEE STRIKES! Rich Russillo: Jamie finishes with the knee strikes before picking her up AND SLAMMING HER DOWN TO THE MAT! Jamie is building momentum as he hits the ropes. Persephone: Old man comes back and looks for a leg drop, BUT BAHAHAHAHA!! ARIA MOVED OUT OF THE WAY AND THAT DUMBASS JUST CRASHES ONTO THE MAT! THAT WAS GREAT! James Peters: Great ring awareness for ARIA as Jamie gets back to his feet AND ARIA WITH THE KIP UP! HOLD ON! ARIA WRAPS HER LEGS AROUND JAMIE’S NECK AND TAKES HIM DOWN WITH A KIP UP STYLE HURRICANRANA! Persephone: What in the hell was that? No need to get cutesy with your moves. Just finish this damn match. Whatever. Jamie is back to his knees and ARIA has a facelock– Rich Russillo: AND SHE MANAGES TO USE THE MOMENTUM AND SNAP JAMIE OVER WITH THE SNAP SUPLEX! Nice little show of power by the young ARIA! Persephone: Will you shut up? Tell her the truth and tell her that she sucks. I mean look at her hitting the ropes! She comes back and hits another one of them cutesy moves that makes me wanna barf. James Peters: That’s actually a running version of the Shooting Star Press and she hit it perfectly. ARIA was trying to go for the cover, BUT JAMIE EASILY THROWS HER OFF BEFORE THE COUNT WAS STARTED! Rich Russillo: Jamie still has too much at this point in the match, but kudos to ARIA for trying. We can still see and hear that Cameron is rooting her husband on as Harper is looking on. James Peters: Both Jamie and ARIA are back to their feet as ARIA hits the ropes TO TRY AND TAKE JAMIE OVER WITH A HEADSCISSOR TAKE OVER, BUT JAMIE HOLDS ON AND COUNTERS WITH A MODIFIED FACEBUSTER! Rich Russillo: ARIA kisses the canvas as Jamie gets a waistlock on ARIA! JAMIE LIFTS UP ARIA WITH EASE BEFORE TAKING HER UP AND OVER WITH THAT HIGH ANGLE GERMAN SUPLEX! Persephone: That little bitch was dropped on the back of her head by the Ava simp and he decides to keep the waistlock and bridge up for the cover! ONNNNNNNNNNNNNEEEE! TWWWWWWWWWOOOOO! THHHHHRRRR- James Peters: ARIA POWERS OUT AT TWO! ARIA is a very determined and very tough competitor and the former Specialists Champion will not stay down as long as she has fight left in her. Persephone: She’s gonna need it at this rate. She’s getting tossed around like a sack of potatoes and as amusing as it is to watch, she will either need to step it up or get the hell out of the ring so we can get on with the show and I can talk to Luis. Rich Russillo: You need to calm down, my love. This match is only going to get better as we see that Jamie is going back to the knees strikes on a downed ARIA! Jamie can be very methodical when he is in the ring. Persephone: First, don’t call me your love, sicko. Second, I highly doubt this match is going to get any better because Luis isn’t here to make it better. That ARIA bitch looks kinda lifeless right now when Jamie picks her up. Maybe she’s dead. James Peters: She’s not dead. But she is in trouble right now as Jamie rears back AND CHOPS HER ACROSS THE CHEST WITH THAT BACKHANDED CHOP! OH MY GAWD! Rich Russillo: THAT CHOP ALMOST SOUNDED LIKE A WHIP BEING CRACKED! THAT HAD TO BE PAINFUL FOR ARIA! Jamie is rearing back— James Peters: AND HE JUST CHOPPED ARIA AGAIN WITH ANOTHER BACKHANDED CHOP AND THEY ARE STILL COMING! Rich Russillo: There’s those Machine Gun Backhanded Chops that Jamie likes to use and he is using them to send ARIA back into the corner. Persephone: I think this could really help her. She’ll be able to finally get out of training bra sizes if he keeps chopping her like that. James Peters: That is completely inappropriate as we see Cameron and Harper still looking on with vested interest as Jamie lifts ARIA with ease and sits her on the top turnbuckle. Persephone: I don’t think it was bad to say, but whatever. Now we see boring old Jamie trying to get up onto the top turnbuckle, but that little snot from Showdown finally decides to fight back. Rich Russillo: ARIA IS KICKING JAMIE IN THE FACE OVER AND OVER AGAIN! SHE IS TRYING TO GET HIM TO LOSE HIS BALANCE TO STOP THE SUPERPLEX ATTEMPT BY JAMIE! Persephone: Poor bastard is getting kicked in the head repeatedly. I like it, but it won’t do any damage. He has nothing in that head of his. I mean he married that silicone bimbo over there. James Peters: Will you stop that? Are you jealous of– LOOK! ARIA WITH ONE LAST BOOT TO THE FOREHEAD AND JAMIE LOSES HIS BALANCE AND COMES OFF THE SECOND ROPE! Rich Russillo: BUT HE LUCKILY LANDED ON HIS FEET TO CUSHION THE BLOW! Now look at ARIA! She is standing up and finding her balance on the top rope and doesn’t think twice– James Peters: DIVING METEORA FROM THE TOP ROPE BY ARIA MANAGES TO TAKE THE FORMER WORLD CHAMPION DOWN TO THE MAT AS SHE QUICKLY HOOKS THE LEG FOR THE COVER! ONNNNNNNNNNNEEEEE! TWWWWWWWOOOOOO! THH– Rich Russillo: JAMIE KICKS OUT AT TWO! What power with that kickout. He literally threw ARIA off of him and she flew right over the referee. ARIA quickly gets back to her feet AND CONNECTS WITH THE SHINING WIZARD– Persephone: NOPE! Lucky bastard ducked it AND COUNTERED INTO A KNEEBAR! Why a submission now? Beat the hell out of her more. Too much fight still left in the mini bitch! James Peters: Jamie is trying to weaken ARIA’s leg with that kneebar, BUT ARIA IS FIGHTING IT! ARIA IS TRYING TO REACH THE ROPES, SHE’S CLOSE, BUT JAMIE IS STOPPING HER! Persephone: Yeah, he hasn’t lost the empathy weight from when his kid was born. He just sat down and stopped her. BAHAHAHA! You know who isn’t like that? Luis. Rich Russillo: What are you talking about, lovely? Jamie looks the same as he did before, but with an 80 pound weight advantage, it’s easy to stop your opponent in their tracks. Persephone: Don’t call me that either, but WHAT THE HELL? SHE ACTUALLY GOT HER HAND ON THE ROPES! EXPLAIN THAT LOGIC TO ME! James Peters: Jamie locked in the kneebar too close to the ropes and it cost him. ARIA gambled on a lunge and it paid off and the ref is forcing Jamie to break the hold. Rich Russillo: To the joy of Harper Lee, who looks relieved that this match is continuing as she lets out a breath of relief. James Peters: I don’t think it’s relief that ARIA saved herself. I think that Harper’s relieved because her tag team partner didn’t screw this up or make an ass out of herself which would make Harper look bad. If I was thinking like Harper. Rich Russillo: That’s scary. But Jamie is still in firm control of this match as he picks ARIA off the mat with ease AND HE JUST YEETS HER OVER THE TOP ROPE AND TO THE FLOOR IN FRONT OF US! Persephone: Did you just use yeet? Gawd! You sound like a clueless idiot trying to sound cool. Don’t do that ever again… but seeing the little troll thing crashing and burning was nice to see. James Peters: Sadistic as always, but ARIA is trying to make it back to her feet as Jamie is gearing up to fly. ARIA is up AND JAMIE RUNS FULL SPEED THROW THE MIDDLE AND BOTTOM ROPES– Persephone: INTO A GRAND TOTAL OF NOTHING! BAHAHAHAHA! That Low-pe Suicida of his came up empty as the little one moved out of the way and now he crashes onto the floor. Rich Russillo: Jamie is getting back to his feet as ARIA is on the apron as it looks like she is going to take a chance AS SHE SPRINGS ONTO THE MIDDLE ROPE! SPRINGBOARD ASAI MOONSAULT TAKES JAMIE DOWN! Persephone: Listen to this crowd cheer for her. I don’t see why they like her so much. She looks like nothing special to me. James Peters: You say that about all the competitors of EAW… I guess except Luis… but ARIA is a very talented competitor as we see her bringing Jamie back to his feet. Rich Russillo: She gets the momentum going to Irish Whip Jamie AND JAMIE IS SENT BACK FIRST INTO THE RING APRON! Not a good sensation going up the spine as ARIA grabs the back of Jamie and sends him back into the ring. James Peters: ARIA doesn’t follow as she gets on the apron once again AND SPRINGS TO THE TOP ROPE LOOKING FOR A SPRINGBOARD 450 SPLASH– Rich Russillo: JAMIE GOT BACK TO HIS FEET AND JUST CLOBBERED HER WITH A SLINGBLADE WHILE SHE WAS IN THE AIR! WHAT A COUNTER BY JAMIE O’HARA! Persephone: He would have got the same result with a flyswatter you know. Easy way to get rid of little annoying pests. James Peters: Nice as always, but ARIA is down and Jamie is looking to pick the bones as he grabs ARIA and brings her back to her feet. Jamie gets her in the pumphandle position before hoisting her in the air– Persephone: AND DROPPING HER WITH THE “GALACTIC BUSTER”! Stupid name for that Pumphandle Lungblower of his. But that little thing isn’t moving as the Ava Baby Daddy drags her to the center of the ring for the cover! ONNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEE! TWWWWWWWWWOOOOO! THHHHHHHHRRRREEEEEE– Rich Russillo: ARIA KICKED OUT AT TWO! CLOSE NEAR FALL FOR JAMIE O’ HARA! He looks a little stunned that she was able to kick out. Cameron was a little shocked as well and Harper is laughing at Cameron’s stunned look. Persephone: I would be stunned if some shrimp like ARIA kicked out of one of my big moves. That’s funny. If it was Luis, this match would already have been over and we would be going out somewhere. James Peters: But it isn’t and the match is continuing so you will just have to get over it. Jamie brings ARIA back to her feet once more and looks to set her up for another “Galactic Buster”! Rich Russillo: ARIA is up in the air, BUT ARIA GETS FREE AND GRABS JAMIE’S HEAD BEFORE COUNTERING WITH A TILT A WHIRL DDT! JAMIE WAS SPIKED ON HIS HEAD! James Peters: Beautiful counter by ARIA to save herself as she gets back to her feet. Jamie is a little dazed, but he is back to his feet. ARIA is a little quicker– Rich Russillo: AND ARIA CHOPS JAMIE ACROSS THE CHEST! NOW IT’S HER TURN TO GET TO CHOPPING! Persephone: Bahahaha! If she keeps chopping him, he’ll have as big a chest as his wife does. Only it didn’t cost him a lot of money to get it. HAHAHAHA! James Peters: I wouldn’t talk too loudly unless you want Cameron to hear you, but Jamie is being chopped into the corner. Jamie is in the turnbuckles AND ARIA WITH A SUPERKICK CATCHES JAMIE IN THE JAW! Persephone: Shot didn’t make him smarter that’s for sure. But ARIA for some reason or another is backing up to the opposite corner. OH GAWD! Another damn cutesy move. ARIA is flipping around attempting the handspring elbow— Rich Russillo: THE HANDSPRING ELBOW WAS WELL SCOUTED AND IT BACKFIRED AS JAMIE HITS A FLYING FOREARM OUT OF THE CORNER KNOCKING ARIA TO HER KNEES! Persephone: That’s exactly what she gets for being a damn show off. ARIA is back up to feet AND JAMIE LOCKS HER UP AND TAKES HER DOWN WITH A DRAGON SUPLEX! Please let this end the match! James Peters: I don’t think it will right now even though ARIA was dropped on the back of her head. Now Jamie once again picks up ARIA and brings her to her feet as Harper is looking wondering how this is going to end up. Rich Russillo: Jamie has the waist lock and is setting up for “Into the Dreamscape”. If he hits it, it could end the match for ARIA. JAMIE LIFTS UP ARIA FOR “INTO THE DREAMSCAPE”– James Peters: OH MY GAWD! ARIA GRABS JAMIE’S NECK WHEN HE LET HER GO FOR THE PILEDRIVER PORTION OF THE MOVE AND SHE DRIVES HIM DOWN WITH THE “ZIRCON CUTTER”! Rich Russillo: CREATIVE COUNTER INTO THE CUTTER BY ARIA AND JAMIE WENT FACE FIRST INTO THE CANVAS! ARIA MANAGES TO ROLL JAMIE OVER AND SHE HOOKS THE LEG FOR THE COVER! ONNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEE! TWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOO! THHHHHHHHHHRRRREEEEEE! Persephone: BAHAHAHAHA! Jamie kicked out and ARIA doesn’t look happy. Sorry shrimp. That wasn’t going to work. I was hoping it would end the match, but after seeing Harper at ringside throwing a hissy fit, I’m glad it didn’t. James Peters: Cameron let out a sigh of relief after Jamie kicked out, but damn, ARIA was close to picking up what many would consider an upset victory. Persephone: Well ARIA didn’t win, and that really just pissed me off. If you know your moves suck and aren’t good enough to keep your opponent down for the three count, either go for something else or DON’T GO FOR THE PIN! You’re getting my hopes up for no reason and I don’t like that at all. Rich Russillo: I don’t think you’re the only one that didn’t like that. Harper Lee hasn’t taken her eyes off of this match for the last few moments, and you can tell she’s not happy Jamie was able to kick out. ARIA knows better than to sit around thinking about what went wrong though, which is why she’s beginning to drag Jamie back up to his feet! ARIA wants to pick up the biggest win of her career! Persephone: Why would she want to help Jamie back up though? That sounds pretty stupid to me. That just makes it easier for him to find his footing and get back into this. Is ARIA just stupid- actually, nevermind. She’s willingly teaming up with Harper Lee, of course she is. James Peters: I think ARIA is about to answer your question! She clearly had a plan, which is why you shouldn’t doubt ARIA’s in-ring IQ. She’s pulling Jamie into a headlock, and if you’re familiar with ARIA I think you know exactly what she’s setting up for! ARIA GOES FOR THE- Rich Russillo: NO! JAMIE IS ABLE TO PUSH ARIA OFF OF HIM, AND NOW HE SPINS AROUND BEFORE CONNECTING WITH A DISCUS ELBOW TO THE BACK OF ARIA’S HEAD! ARIA DROPS DOWN TO A KNEE, BUT JAMIE IS QUICK TO PULL HER BACK INTO HIS GRASP! JAMIE IS HOLDING ONTO ARIA, AND NOW HE SETS HER UP FOR INTO THE DREAMSCAPE- James Peters: NO! ARIA WITH A SURPRISING COUNTER AS SHE WAS ABLE TO FLIP OVER JAMIE AND LAND ON HER FEET BEHIND HIM! ARIA NOW TURNING JAMIE AROUND, AND CONNECTING WITH A SUPERKICK! THAT SUPERKICK HIT JAMIE RIGHT IN THE JAW, AND AFTER A KICK LIKE THAT I’M SURE JAMIE DOESN’T HAVE IT IN HIM TO FIGHT! ARIA CAUGHT HIM WITH THAT ONE, AND NOW SHE PULLS HIM IN TO FINISH THIS MATCH OFF FOR GOOD! ARIA NOW LIFTING JAMIE UP FOR A CURE TO YOUR HEADACHE! Persephone: BUT IT DOESN’T CONNECT BECAUSE ARIA SUCKS AND DOESN’T KNOW HOW TO WRESTLE! Rich Russillo: NO, IT DIDN’T CONNECT BECAUSE JAMIE HAD MORE LEFT IN HIM THAN WE THOUGHT! JAMIE WAS ABLE TO PULL HIMSELF BACK DOWN TO HIS FEET BEFORE SHOVING ARIA INTO THE ROPES, AND JAMIE DOESN’T EVEN GIVE ARIA THE TIME TO PROCESS WHAT JUST HAPPENED, CHARGING TOWARDS HER AND CONNECTING WITH IN EXCELSIS AS SOON AS SHE BOUNCES OFF OF THE ROPES! IN EXCELSIS CONNECTS, AND I THINK ARIA IS OUT OF THIS ONE! JAMIE NOW GOING FOR THE COVER, AND THAT’S GOTTA BE IT! ONNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEE! TWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOO! THHHHHHHHHHRRRREEEEEE! (DING! DING! DING!) Bella Braxton: Here is your winner… JAAAAMMMIIIEEEEEE O’HAAAAARRRAAAAAA!!!! James Peters: JAMIE O’HARA WINS! Jamie was able to put ARIA down and pick up the victory, and while ARIA put up a fantastic fight, you can’t expect anything short of greatness from Jamie O’Hara. Rich Russillo: This is exactly the kind of win Jamie and Cameron want heading into King of Elite. ARIA and Harper on the other hand? I’m not so sure that this will help with their team chemistry, or lack thereof. Persephone: Obviously. I don’t know why ARIA did this to herself in the first place. Go back to your own brand. (‘Kashmir’ hits as Cameron Ella Ava joins Jamie O’Hara in the ring. Cameron and the referee raise Jamie’s hands, meanwhile ARIA rolls out of the ring in pain, just to be confronted by Harper Lee, who doesn’t look happy following the outcome of that match.) Harper Lee: (off-mic) What the hell was that!? ARIA: (off-mic) What do you think? He beat me. Harper Lee: (off-mic) Yeah. WHY!? Didn’t I tell you not to lose!? ARIA: (off-mic) Do you really think it’s that simple!? Harper Lee: (off-mic) YES! Like I said, you volunteered for this, so- James Peters: WOAH! SUICIDE DIVE BY BOTH JAMIE O’HARA AND CAMERON ELLA AVA TO HARPER LEE AND ARIA, AND IT LOOKS LIKE THESE TWO HAVEN’T FORGOTTEN ABOUT WHAT HAPPENED EARLIER! A BRAWL HAS JUST KICKED OFF HERE, AND ALL FOUR ELITISTS IN THIS KING OF ELITE TAG TEAM MATCH ARE FIGHTING RIGHT NOW! Rich Russillo: JAMIE AND ARIA CONTINUE THEIR FIGHT AS CAMERON GOES AFTER HARPER, AND THESE TWO DIDN’T WASTE ANY TIME INTERRUPTING THAT ARGUMENT! ARIA AND HARPER JUST CAN’T SEEM TO GET ALONG, AND I’M NOT SURE HOW THAT’LL AFFECT THEIR MATCH NEXT WEEK, BUT IT CAN’T BE GOOD FOR THEM! James Peters: ALL FOUR ELITISTS CONTINUE TO FIGHT, AND IT LOOKS LIKE JAMIE AND CAMERON ARE GETTING THE UPPER HAND THIS TIME! HARPER IS STRUGGLING TO FEND OFF CAMERON, AND ARIA IS STILL HURT AFTER JAMIE DEFEATED HER! THE FIGHT CONTINUES BETWEEN THESE TWO TEAMS- BUT LOOK! SECURITY IS RUNNING DOWN THE RAMP TO BREAK THINGS UP, AND WE CAN’T BE TOO SURPRISED THAT THINGS PLAYED OUT LIKE THIS AFTER WHAT HAPPENED EARLIER! (A large group of security guards rush down to ringside before pulling all four Elitists away from each other. The fans begin to boo, obviously wanting to see the chaos, but before long, Cameron and Jamie are pulled away from ARIA and Harper. ARIA is visibly frustrated throughout this and pushes the security guards away from herself, before shoving Harper Lee and beginning to speak.) ARIA: (off-mic) Just you wait. I’ll show you how serious of a competitor I am. (Harper doesn’t respond to ARIA’s words, remaining silent as the security guards continue to split both teams away from each other. Cameron and Jamie slowly make their way up the ramp, seemingly at least satisfied with having picked up the victory, while Harper and ARIA remain at ringside. As both teams are shown staring at each other through all of the security, Voltage begins to fade away from ringside.) (Promotional ad for King of Elite, where Jamie O’Hara and Cameron Ella Ava face Harper Lee and ARIA.) (Voltage returns to ringside, and ‘It Ain’t Safe’ by Skepta hits. As always this causes the fans to boo, but before long, some of the fans are a bit surprised as it’s not Charlie Marr that walks out. Instead, security guards are seen beginning to make their way out to the stage, and only then is the EAW World Champion seen walking out. This causes the boos to grow louder, but with the security guards surrounding him and a microphone in his hand, Charlie begins making his way down to the ring.) James Peters: Charlie Marr is here, and I’d ask what the security is all about, but I’d assume this has to do with what happened last week, when Drake King and Rex McAllister attacked Charlie Marr. Many would say that Charlie did that to himself by ruining the main event match, but I’m sure Charlie himself would disagree. Rich Russillo: Well I guess the security is here to make sure no funny business takes place, and to be fair, I could see why Charlie wouldn’t want to get involved in another fight right now. After all, not only does he have a match against Alex Myers up next, but King of Elite is only a week away. He can’t afford to get hurt by any outside factors right now. Persephone: Why are you defending this bum? It’s not like Charlie has any good competition. The fact that he needs security to protect him is just sad. (Charlie Marr enters the ring while the security guards remain at ringside, surrounding the ring to make sure nobody else can enter. Charlie is wearing his EAW World Championship around his waist, but he takes it off before raising it, causing more boos to come from the fans. However, soon after this Charlie begins to speak.) Charlie Marr: You see this? This is what a Champion looks like. I’m the only meaningful Champion this brand has to offer, and I’m not going to tolerate any disrespect heading into my first successful title defense. I don’t know how any of you could even wake up every day knowing that you’ll never be as important as I am to EAW, but maybe that fact is the reason we have people like Rex McAllister and Drake King. Maybe I’m just such an icon that my presence alone is enough to strike fear into their hearts. Why else would they be able to put their hatred for each other aside just to focus on attacking me? You think those two like each other? They can’t stand each other, but they’re so afraid of their EAW World Champion they’d rather work together than allow me to hold this Championship any longer than I already have. It’s pathetic, and more importantly, it’s pointless. It doesn’t matter what you try to do to me. You can team up all you want, but I will ALWAYS be the EAW World Champion, the only Champion on this brand that matters. (The fans continue to boo hearing these words from Charlie, but Charlie doesn’t seem to care about the reception from the crowd, continuing to speak.) Charlie Marr: These security guards are out here for a reason, and that reason is the fact that I’m not like Drake and Rex. I’m sure those two are just waiting for their next opportunity to strike, but crimes don’t go unpunished in my EAW. They thought they could attack Charlie Marr and get away with it, and that was their mistake. They screwed up, which is why tonight those two will not be joining us. If they came to the arena tonight they might as well head back home, because I’m about to compete in the biggest match Alex Myers has ever had in their life and when I do, Drake and Rex will not be anywhere to be seen. Those two aren’t allowed at ringside, so I can tell you all now that the next time you’ll be seeing Rex McAllister and Drake King will be when I beat them at King of Elite to retain the EAW World Championship. (This once again receives a negative reaction, but this time Charlie begins to laugh as he continues.) Charlie Marr: Those two were really in the final two of a Chamber for this Championship. Unreal. Two guys like that were fighting for the top prize on Voltage. You guys are lucky, you know that? You’re lucky that I did what I did. You’re lucky that I decided to do EAW a favor and end the suffering that came with a Drake King Championship reign while also killing Rex’s chances of sinking the ratings with another awful title run. I might as well have had the greatest cash-in in EAW history, because I saved this place. Those two are not Championship material, and they’re DEFINITELY not deserving of my World Championship. If you saw anything that happened last week and you truly believe that either one of those men should walk out of King of Elite with this title, it’s for the best that you stop watching entirely. We don’t need someone like you as a viewer, and you don’t need to set yourself up for the disappointment that’ll come when I crush all three fans of Drake King and Rex McAllister’s dreams next week. I’m the only one this brand needs, got it? Not a fraud like Drake, and not a complete bore like Rex. You need- (‘Self Help Tape’ by Moses Sumney hits, cutting Charlie off before he could finish his sentence. This annoys Charlie, but the fans in attendance are all heard cheering as the music hits. Before long, Captain Charisma begins walking out to the stage, holding a microphone in his hand. Captain Charisma just looks unimpressed as he stares at what’s going on at ringside, and he turns his attention to the security guards before beginning to speak.) Captain Charisma: You guys can head to the back. I’ve got this covered. (After hearing this, the security guards surrounding the ring slowly but surely begin walking back up the ramp, leaving Charlie in disbelief.) Charlie Marr: What the hell do you think you’re doing? Captain Charisma: I could be asking you the same question right now. Don’t you find this all a bit ridiculous? Complaining about an attack that was started because of you? Trying to ban my roster members from ringside like a child just because things didn’t go your way? Getting those security guards to try and protect you from people you provoked in the first place? Charlie Marr: Right, I guess we’re just going to forget about them attacking me last week. Great work, Commissioner. :francis: Captain Charisma: I didn’t forget. In fact, I remember last week’s events so well that I remember you getting involved in their match against Donovan Duke and Mia Santoro. They didn’t attack you before that. In fact, they didn’t even know you were in the arena, because you didn’t show your face. They were under the impression that you were taking a break, so they went and did their job. You took it upon yourself to go out there and start that fight, and this was after you refused to show up earlier in the night. You went out there to launch a sneak attack, and they had enough, just like anyone else would. Whether you like it or not, that’s not on them. You did that to yourself, and it’s not like this is the first time that’s happened. Let’s be honest, Charlie. You have a history of this stuff. This season alone you’ve done it countless times, so do you really think you’re fooling anybody pretending to be hurt just because they fought back? (The fans cheer, but the EAW World Champion doesn’t look amused hearing this from Captain Charisma. Charlie chooses to just brush off what he said as he begins to speak.) Charlie Marr: Alright, so what if I attacked them? That doesn’t change anything. Drake and Rex are embarrassments that should consider themselves lucky for even being able to face me at King of Elite with my Championship on the line. As far as I’m concerned those two are still banned from ringside, so I don’t care what you do. (A smirk appears on Captain Charisma’s face as he begins to respond.) Captain Charisma: Alright. Since you don’t care, I might as well just let you know that I’m not going to honor your ringside ban. You didn’t have that kind of authority in the first place so I’m not sure why you ever thought otherwise, but I might as well make that clear in case you’re confused. Your challengers can do whatever they please. If they feel like making an appearance tonight, which I’m sure they’d love to, there is no rule preventing them from doing so, just like there wasn’t a rule stopping you from getting involved last week. In fact… Since King of Elite is only a week away, why not make your match tonight even more interesting? Joso and PJ Hendrx were already planned to join commentary tonight so they could see Alex Myers in action, but let’s add a few more names to the mix. As of right now, your King of Elite opponents Rex McAllister and Drake King will ALSO be joining commentary! (This receives cheers from the crowd, but Charlie Marr can’t believe it.) Charlie Marr: What!? What are you doing!? Captain Charisma: My job, Charlie. The people want an exciting main event before we move on to King of Elite, so let’s give them one. (Before long, ‘Stronger (salü remix)’ by The Score hits. The crowd explodes with cheers, and Rex McAllister begins to walk out. Charlie Marr can’t believe what’s going on, but Rex isn’t alone. As Rex begins to walk down the ramp his music is replaced by ‘When Darkness Falls’ by Killswitch Engage. Drake King would also begin walking out, and this just further frustrates Charlie. The Champion would turn towards Captain Charisma, but as soon as he does, he realizes that the Commissioner is already making his way to the back.) James Peters: Wow! Well it looks like we have a change in plans here, as both the King of Elite finalists AND the challengers for the EAW World Championship will be doing commentary for this match! Rich Russillo: Charlie Marr doesn’t look happy, and I can’t say I’m surprised. Everything he didn’t want to happen just happened. Captain Charisma surprised him, and now both of the men he tried to ban from ringside will be present for this main event match! Persephone: Does this mean I can leave? I really don’t want to watch this match so that’d be great. (Rex and Drake make their way to ringside, and as Charlie turns his attention towards his challengers, they mockingly wave towards him. This causes Charlie to clench his fist in anger, and he just shakes his head before turning away from them.) James Peters: Well ladies and gentlemen, next up we have King of Elite finalist Alex Myers taking on the EAW World Champion Charlie Marr. This is bound to be a fantastic match, and as we just heard, PJ Hendrx, Joso, Drake King and Rex McAllister will all be on commentary for this one! Rich Russillo: Both Charlie and Alex need a big win tonight heading into King of Elite. They’re respectively in two of the biggest matches on the entire show, and nobody wants to walk into matches like that with a loss. Persephone: I don’t really care who wins or who loses, I’m not gonna be paying attention anyway. Can PJ and Joso hurry out here so I can leave? (Charlie Marr looks furious, but he backs into his corner, knowing he now has no other choice but to accept the current circumstances. He waits for his upcoming match against Alex Myers, and from there Voltage fades to the final commercial break of the night.) (Promotional ad for King of Elite, where Charlie Marr defends the EAW World Championship against Rex McAllister and Drake King.) (The camera cuts to Bella Braxton in the ring.) Bella Braxton: The following contest is scheduled for one fall! Crowd: ONE FALL!!! (‘It Ain’t Safe’ by Skepta can be heard blaring throughout the speakers as the entire audience drowns out the music with their negative reactions. The EAW World Champion, Charlie Marr stands in the corner of the ring while holding his championship closely, glancing down upon his title with a focused look on his face as he waits for his opponent.) Bella Braxton: Already in the ring! From Tower Hamlets, London, United Kingdom; weighing in at 240 pounds… HE IS THE EAW WORLD CHAMPION, CHARLIEEEEEE MARR!!! Drake King: You know, Rex, we can agree on this. I really, REALLY don’t like this guy. Rex McAllister: The antics have been growing very tiresome for you and I both, Drake, but I’m glad we got to deliver on getting back at him for the nonsense. Though I won’t deny it, he’s one hell of a performer, and a viable threat. This match with Alex will give me a real good seat in the house for how he operates. Joso: If y’all don’t get the title off of him, I won’t know what the hell to say after that. PJ Hendrx: Would never be me. First opportunity I get, it’ll be the last that I need. Drake King: Can’t tell if you’re all just trying to make me laugh, or left your brains at home today. I’m gonna get the job done, so none of you need to think about it too deeply. (‘Soundtrack 2 My Life’ by Kid Cudi can be heard as the crowd lets their voices be known, with their cheers echoing throughout the arena for Alex Myers emerging from the back. They gaze outward to the crowd, before darting their eyes back toward the ring as they begin to walk down the ramp.) Bella Braxton: And his opponent! From Auckland, New Zealand; weighing in at 180 pounds… ALEEEEEEEEEX MYERS!!!! Joso: We ready to watch them catch another L like they’re getting next week?? PJ Hendrx: Easy on that, Alex ain’t just anybody to play with. They got the fight, all of it in the damn world. I’m watching out for you, but I’m watching out for them too, not underestimating shit. Drake King: I don’t think either of you know how to properly do play-by-play so I think I’ll handle this! Alex Myers is here ready to wow the audience who I know would love to see yours truly in the main event of Voltage right now, but I digress! We can’t get everything we want in life, can we?? Rex McAllister: I know you believe Alex to be an embarrassment, Drake, but I will respect them for their stellar work ethic. I know they’ve been working diligently, and they have earned their spot in the finals alongside the talented two men we sit with today. PJ Hendrx: Appreciate that. Joso: I’ll appreciate that when I get the dub. (DING! DING! DING!) Rex McAllister: Bell rings, and here we go! Charlie and Alex are here to put on one hell of a match for the crowd tonight, we’ve got both elitists circling around the ring, pacing around and trying to see the advantage that either competitor can get, I know they each have their own strengths when it comes to being between those ropes and doing everything they can to win. Charlie raises his arms as does Alex, looking like they’re gonna go for the collar-and-elbow tie up—but now Charlie’s going for a sneaky clothesline to put them down! No one home!! Alex ducks his arm as they both turn around, and Alex is nailing kicks right across Charlie’s leg! Alex is trying to apply as much pressure as possible with these kicks, as they continue to repeat themselves and force Charlie to hold onto the ropes! PJ Hendrx: They’ll have to try to take him down limb by limb, champ’s got the size & strength advantage. Drake King: Well I won’t do this idiot too much good if they don’t get putting him down far more quickly! Now Alex is rushing the ropes and running back, nailing a running dropkick right to Charlie’s leg to take him off of his feet, and now he’s leaning onto the ropes! Maybe Alex is finally deciding to think smarter, but that won’t be enough. Alex is rushing the ropes once again, and running back toward Charlie—BUT CHARLIE WITH A BIG BOOT! TAKES ALEX DOWN WITHOUT A PROBLEM! That’s exactly what they get for trying to go down the path of such a stupid strategy! Joso: You just said they were thinking smarter…? Drake King: Just cause they’ve got a light bulb above their head for two seconds doesn’t mean it’s gonna stay on. Rex McAllister: Now Charlie’s situating himself right over Alex, and he’s nailing down the rights upon them with as much force behind each punch as possible. I know Alex can take a lot of punishment, but sometimes, that punishment just isn’t the smart path for any elitist to go. There’s only so much you can endure to dish out the same damage back, Charlie will do everything to make sure it’s not as even as it can be. Now he’s dragging Alex back up to their feet, and tossing them over to the corner without a problem. Marr’s now rushing toward the corner and to Alex… but Alex raises the foot up and catches Charlie right in the jaw! Charlie tries to rush back toward them, but Alex isn’t gonna let up! Another kick right across the jaw again!! Alex quickly gets themselves up to the middle rope, and they launch off with a diving dropkick that catches Charlie right off guard!! PJ Hendrx: They’re doing what they can right now, but Charlie still ain’t going down. Champ’s doing everything that he can to make sure Alex doesn’t take him down, but I know Alex is too stubborn to let him keep it up. Alex is moving back to their feet, and they’re now rushing at Charlie as they run right at him going for ANOTHER dropkick, a shotgun dropkick that knocks Charlie into the opposite corner! Not off his feet, but they’ve got his ass stunned now! Alex has always been quick with it, and they’re now moving right up to the corner and standing on the ropes! Alex is laying in the punches right onto the champ, not letting him have any room to breathe either! This is going damn well so far, they got the crowd behind them counting down! ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR! FIVE! Joso: That’s cool and all but, it’s too early in the match to be doing all this, ‘cause Charlie is still fresh as hell, and he sure as shit isn’t fresh in the way that I am anytime I step out, he’s just not been beat down enough to warrant this. And look, Alex won’t make it to ten ‘cause Charlie’s got Alex over his shoulders now, and he’s moving them away from the corner & to the middle of the ring. He’s got a powerbomb coming Alex’s way right now! Drake King: I would’ve loved to see that but Alex is able to counter any chance of a powerbomb into a hurricanrana, sending Charlie sprawling into the middle ropes as he’s now slumped over. Now they’re moving back up to their feet, keeping the pace fast, even if it’s gonna cost them again eventually, Alex is rushing right toward the ropes and looking to nail double knees to Charlie while he’s on the ropes with his back turned, and they did it! Wow! Slow day for the champ today, huh?? PJ Hendrx: You ain’t giving Alex the credit that they deserve, get your fake hating ass glasses off and try seeing that Alex ain’t one to mess with. Drake King: Well, one, I won’t be taking these glasses off, get with it. Two, I beat Alex already, so they did try messing with me and got what they rightfully deserved. Three, I’ll give credit when they aren’t so dreadful to watch. PJ Hendrx: Watch your tone. Rex McAllister: Focus on the match guys, Alex is giving Charlie a huge run for his money here. Now Charlie’s crawling around, and Alex sees this, so they’re ready to dish out a lot more punishment! Myers moves himself back up to the middle turnbuckle, now waiting for the perfect moment to strike as Charlie is moving his way back up to his feet, turning to their direction… and Alex leaps off the middle turnbuckle looking for the tornado DDT—but look at that! Charlie’s caught Alex before the DDT could land!! Now Marr is moving Alex’s arm right around his neck, and he’s hoisting them upward RIGHT into a suplex that takes Alex down to the mat! Gotta admit, very good strength from Charlie! Drake King: We are NOT giving this chump the most undeserved props possible. Joso: Alex choosing not to stay down for the count though, they’re moving around and crawling, shifting over to the bottom ropes while Charlie’s got a shit eating grin on his face, looking insanely punchable. Regardless, Charlie is putting Alex through real pressure, now getting himself up and kicking them right across the stomach as they were trying to crawl. Cold blooded, not wanting to let Alex have a second of breathing room, but I get that. I ain’t gonna be letting them get the same luxury when we’re sharing that ring. PJ Hendrx: Well, that’s some real shit, but I’m making sure that I’m applying the same pressure against you too. Anyway, Charlie’s got his hands on the ropes and he’s now stomping down on the chest of Alex, not letting up with every single stomp that he takes. Not moving so quickly, but each one’s got a lot of power behind them when he is keeping them down. It’s effective, I’ll give him that, looking real difficult for Alex to rebound right now, they’ll need to think of something fast or Charlie may as well wipe the floor with them. Drake King: Which would wholeheartedly make my day, I don’t want to see either of these two keep on fighting and waste my precious time! Rex McAllister: That’s where we’re on opposite sides of that notion, Drake. They can fight for as long as they’d like, I get to see exactly the kind of wrestler that Charlie Marr is, and understand what I’m against. Now the referee is counting down, and Charlie’s still delivering the stomps, but does stop just before the count of five as he backs off for the moment. The referee tries to give Charlie the scolding too, but Marr doesn’t want anything to do with it. He heads right back over to Alex, but Alex has fight within them! They’re sitting themselves upward and laying in strikes across Charlie’s midsection, as they’re working their way back up to their feet! Alex letting the heart be felt through the punches! Drake King: Which ends up being another fruitless attempt of doing something useful, ‘cause Charlie sends a strong knee right across Alex’s abdomen that keeps them downplayed from any potential comeback! Now Charlie’s quickly irish whipping Myers right toward the ropes, as they rebound and run right into a KNEE LIFT FROM CHARLIE! My knees look EXCEEDINGLY BETTER in comparison, but at least he did knock Alex out of loop with his knee! Now Charlie’s getting back down to him and hooking the leg, we really might be headed home early, boys! ONE!!! TWO!!!! Drake King: Nevermind. Joso: Alright alright, won’t talk down on Alex too much now. They’re doing what they can, staying alive and all, but I don’t see that holding up for too long though. Now Charlie’s dragging Alex back up to their feet, he’s always got something up his sleeve and I’m sure he’ll do what he has to. He throws another knee right against Alex’s midsection, I know they felt every bit of that. Charlie is dragging Alex right over to the ropes, and he moves them right against the ropes, delivering another forearm right across their jaw to keep Alex from doing anything! I see what he’s doing, still wearing him down while going for the next big move. Charlie’s tossing Alex toward the ropes—but he doesn’t! He pulls Alex right back into himself and lifts him up for the ‘Headmaster Ritual’!! PJ Hendrx: NAH! ALEX SHIFTED THEIR WEIGHT OVER HIM AND THEY’RE ROLLING CHARLIE UP! HIS SHOULDERS ARE DOWN! ONE!!!!! TWO!!!!!! Drake King: Would’ve left me ecstatic for the next seven days, but, yet again, we can’t get everything we want in life, can we? PJ Hendrx: Alex could’ve shocked a whole lot of people today, but just wasn’t gonna happen right there. Charlie is wide-eyed, it caught him off guard, and he’s quickly getting himself up before Alex can. Charlie rushing back over to Alex and looking to keep them down… BUT ALEX KNOCKS HIS LIGHTS OUT WITH A ROUNDHOUSE KICK! The roundhouse kick had the champ seeing stars, and now he’s stumbling right through the ropes and onto the floor! They got him good there! But now Charlie is crawling around, and it probably won’t be too long for him to get back into this if Alex ain’t moving quickly. Joso: Well Alex is looking right over at baldy getting himself back up, and they know they gotta apply the pressure further. Alex is back up to his feet, and while Charlie is using the apron to get himself back up, he’s got a hand gripping onto the bottom rope to pull himself right up… Alex with a BASEMENT DROPKICK AND CHARLIE IS SENT BACK DOWN ONTO THE FLOOR! Wouldn’t be letting that shit happen to me though not gonna lie, Charlie! Step your game up, Mr. World Champ! PJ Hendrx: That ain’t all! Alex is on the apron now, and they see that Charlie is crawling, but not out entirely! With the champ moving himself up using the barricade, quickly trying to get himself back up to a better spot, Alex is now primed and ready to dish out some more damage to Charlie! Charlie’s got his arm over the barricade and back up to his feet, moving away from the barricade to go toward the apron—BUT ALEX LEAPS OFF AND NAILS THE TORNADO DDT RIGHT ONTO THE RINGSIDE FLOOR! THEY GOT HIM DAMN GOOD THERE! CHAMP’S DOWN! Joso: Damn, they got him good yeah, but they hurt themselves doing that too. Alex trying to clutch onto his own back after connecting with the DDT, now they’re both down with that ref’ counting down on them too. ONE!!! TWO!!!! THREE!!!! FOUR!!! Rex McAllister: Now we see Alex working their way back up, crawling over to the steel steps as they’re able to get back up, with assistance from said steps. Alex making proper use of their awareness, that’s the mark of a great competitor. They may constantly face adversity head-on by any means, but they also know how to maneuver themselves around in the most advantageous way. They’re back up to their feet, and Charlie is leaning against the barricade, though not in a proper stance yet. Alex isn’t gonna give him the breathing room, as they’re right up to Charlie and delivering a fierce chop of their own while Charlie is situated against the barricade! No escape for him!! Drake King: I hate every second of this, but being the professional that I am, I have duties to uphold, and I’m going to do exactly that. Alex Myers is sending these chops right across Charlie Marr’s chest with immense ferocity! I can’t believe how much energy that we are seeing from them right now! Each chop echoes throughout the arena in waves, and Charlie is feeling every single aspect of the pain that comes with it! Alex briefly glances upward to the ring as the referee is still counting down! FIVE!!! SIX!!! SEVEN!!! Rex McAllister: Now Alex is in a bit more of a hurry, and they’re rushing back to Charlie, as they want to get him back into the ring before the ten count. I know a victory over the world champion should be achieved by any means, but they don’t want to get it done through the count, as I wouldn’t either. They are dragging over to the apron—BUT A THROAT CHOP FROM CHARLIE! The throat chop appeared to arise from out of nowhere there, as now Alex is coughing up quite the storm!!! Charlie then proceeds to get Alex right into position, keeping a hold of Alex’s wrist as he doesn’t seem interested in allowing Myers any leverage… before pulling them right into himself! Joso: Oh damn!!!! ‘HEADMASTER RITUAL’ SPINEBUSTER on the apron!!!! I know that hurt like a motherfucker for Alex to go through!! Their ass is slumped back against the apron after being planted into the apron like that, I’m glad that ain’t me! PJ Hendrx: I’d never find myself in that position though I’ll keep it rea— Joso: Shut up bro. Charlie’s pushing Alex back into the ring, and he’s slid back in as he’s hooking the leg here! I wouldn’t really be shocked if this is it after having to see all that! ONEEEE!!!! TWOOOOO!!!!!!!! THREE— PJ Hendrx: But it’s not, ‘cause Alex still got way more fight left in them! And don’t cut me off like that again, if it’s free smoke you want then you’ll get it. Joso: You know your ass ain’t getting off that chair, pipe down. Drake King: You know maybe you two should stop acting like children, and look toward a three-time World Champion, four-time Pain for Pride main eventer, & by default best commentator to ever do it as the inspira— PJ Hendrx & Joso: SHUT UP!!! Drake King: 🧍 Rex McAllister: Charlie Marr does have an expression of slight shock etched on his face, but he’s not gonna let this deter him for long! He’s not wasting much time at all in dragging Alex closer to the corner, as he’s moving up to the top here, and Alex is finding his footing while they can! Charlie sees Alex in the perfect position, and it seems this is all set up quite perfectly for him, ‘cause he’s launching himself toward toward Myers with the ‘Death or Glory’—WOW! SPINNING HEEL KICK FROM ALEX CATCHES CHARLIE MARR IN MID AIR! HELL OF A COUNTER FROM ALEX! VERY GOOD! Drake King: Eh, I guess—I mean, YEAH! REAL GOOD STUFF! Alex is on a roll yet again! Charlie has been rocked to his core, and Myers seems to have the opportunity to put Charlie away in the best way possible here! Charlie is stumbling back up to his feet, still in the daze after the counter from Alex as they have Charlie where he’s needed! Alex delivers a kick to the gut of Charlie before hooking his arms… ASC—wait a minute HE JUST HIT MY ‘ASCENSION’ PEDIGREE!!! HOW DARE HE! PJ Hendrx: That’s crazy but they’re hooking the leg and about to beat the EAW World Champion! ONEEEEE!!!! TWOOOOO!!!!!!!! THREE— Drake King: And he kicks out!!! Of course he does! Whatever THAT ‘Space Bound’ was doesn’t present the same impact of what I can do! Joso: Insane glazing, man. Rex McAllister: Alex is a bit wide eyed themselves, but they’re doing everything that they can to continue the fight! They’re fighting through the hurt of the match, sliding under the ropes and onto the apron, now moving upward to the top of the turnbuckle! Charlie is down, not moving for a single second here, as Myers has a great chance to put him away! For everything here, he takes flight and AIMS FOR ‘ANGELIC BLESSING’—NO ONE THERE!!! CHARLIE QUICKLY MOVES OUT OF THE WAY AND ALEX WITH A ROUGH LANDING RIGHT ONTO THE MAT! This isn’t good!!! Charlie’s got a devious look in his eyes!!! PJ Hendrx: Nah not good at all, Alex is shaking their head too, you can tell he was banking on that to be the end of it there. Now Charlie’s back to Alex, seeing them move back up to their feet, and he’s waiting for them… ‘CHARING CROSS’—ALEX DUCKS AND CHARLIE TURNS RIGHT INTO A PELE KICK—CHARLIE EVADES AND CATCHES ALEX OFF GUARD WITH A KNEE! Damn!!! Now champ’s backing into the corner! Drake King: I can’t watch this monotony any longer! (Drake would stand up from his seat, and walk himself over to the apron, closer to where Charlie was situated.) Drake King: (off-mic) HEY! EYES DOWN HERE, IDIOT! WHO DO YOU THINK ARE, HUH?! LETTING THAT PUNK STEAL MY MOVES AND DOING ‘EM TO YOU?? (Charlie glances toward Drake, visibly annoyed and frustrated as he puts his hands on the middle ropes, glaring downward to Drake.) Charlie Marr: (off-mic) WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT, MORON! GET BACK IN YOUR DUMBASS CHAIR AND DO WHAT YOU NEED TO— PJ Hendrx: DAMN! DRAKE JUST DELIVERED A CHEAP SHOT FROM RINGSIDE TO CHARLIE AND THE REFEREE DIDN’T SEE THAT SHIT! Joso: Ain’t no way bro. Rex McAllister: Can’t complain about that. PJ Hendrx: CHARLIE STUMBLES BACK—INTO ‘WE DON’T HAVE MANY DAYS’!!!! GODDAMN ALEX PLANTED THE CHAMP RIGHT INTO THE MAT WITH THAT MOVE, AND HE’S MOTIONLESS! CHARLIE’S DOWN, AND ALEX IS MOVING UP TO THE TOP AS FAST AS THEY CAN! THEY’RE UP THERE NOW…. ‘ANGELIC BLESSING’!!! THEY GOT IT!!! THE COVER!!!! ONEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!! TWOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!! (DING! DING! DING!) Joso: AIN’T NO FUCKIN’ WAY. PJ Hendrx: ALEX BEAT THE CHAMP! DRAKE DID IT IN WITH THE ASSIST BUT THEY STILL PINNED CHARLIE!!! (‘Soundtrack 2 My Life’ by Kid Cudi can be heard once more as the referee raises Alex’s hand, with Charlie rolling out of the ring as Drake can be seen standing over him, a smirk on his face as he nods at the work he’s done to ruin the night for Charlie.) Drake King: (off-mic) Just another week, pal! One more week and I take BACK what belongs to M— Joso: Hold on why’s Rex moving out of his seat too—DAMN!!!! ‘REX EFFECT’ TO DRAKE! HE DROPPED HIM!!! IT’S STILL EVERYBODY’S GAME! (Rex McAllister now stands over Drake King & Charlie Marr, standing tall while glancing directly to the EAW World Championship resting at the timekeepers area. Alex Myers stands in the ring, as PJ is glancing upward to him.) PJ Hendrx: Good shit, but now all that love can’t stay… (PJ would stand up, and he rolls into the ring as he’s looking right across from Alex.) Joso: They wanna leave me out of the shot??? :comeagain: Fuck that. (Joso stands up as well, and rolls himself into the ring. All three elitists look toward one another, with the crowd behind every single second of these three within the ring. Alex, PJ, & Joso all stand their own ground, looking across from each other as the final shot, with the scene fading from there.) (EAW logo buzzes.)
