Stew: You have to wonder about how big tonight is for Theron Nikolas. We can only assume that Theron was moments away from announcing when he is going to cash in his King of Elite crown, only to be interrupted by Andrei Sokolova.
Talib: Tonight would be huge for the King of Elite. I would hate to imagine what would happen if Theron were to lose this week. Theron promised victory; he promised to hurt Andrei Sokolova. I don’t know how this one is going to go, but I can’t wait to find out.

(The lights go dark as random mix of music begins to play. The crowd rises to their feet as the music finally settles on the current Billboard #1 hit. “In My Feelings” by Drake begins to play and camera flashes start going off. Mark Michaels, the number one contender to the EAW Hardcore Championship steps through the curtain. The smile etched across his face just oozes arrogance and crowd greets him with a chorus of jeers and “YOU SUCK” chants. Michaels soaks it all up as a single spotlight illuminated his path down to the ring and if he’s sweating his title opportunity tonight he’s not showing it. The only thing that leads a person to believe that he’s taking this seriously is the fact there’s no hint of his cellphone. There are no ring apron selfies. Mark Michaels is ready for this match. The sweet sounds of GODrake fade out and are replaced by the theme music of the Hardcore Champion. “Clocks” by Phillip Klein begins to play dramatically. The building is shook because after a few moments, Ventura comes strolling out in all his dazzling glory. He has his championship draped across his right shoulder and in his left hand he holds an hourglass. As the camera zooms in, its plain as day that this hourglass has been decorated specifically for this match – it’s wrapped in beautiful barbed wire ❤️. Ventura allows himself to bask in the glory of his own entrance for a few seconds before shouting at the crowd.)
Ventura: “WHO IS NEXT?!”
Crowd: “MICH-AELS!”
(This man takes his time, almost as if he’s taunting Michaels by forcing him to wait. All week Mark Michaels has declared victory and let the world know that this was going to be his moment. Well if that’s to be the case when all is said and done, Ventura is certainly going to draw it out for as long as humanly possible. Once Ventura reaches the steel ring steps he smiles serenely at his hourglass and turns it over, purposely waiting as the sand begins to trickle down. He just stands there and this pisses Mark Michaels right off. The crowd is eating up this waiting game; it’s fantastic. It serves no other purpose than to annoy Mark Michaels. A minute or so passes before the sand finishes slipping through the hourglass. Then and only then does Ventura decide to enter the ring. At this point, Mark Michaels is just ready to body Ventura, but the referee somehow manages to maintain order. Stephie Love smiles beautifully.)

Ventura is back to his knees and has Michaels trapped in a headlock. Michaels reaches out and realizes there’s nothing to grab onto so he grabs at Ventura’s arms to try and get the break. Ventura hangs on so Michaels does the next logical thing and drives his elbow into Ventura’s chest.”
Talib: “Ventura is forced to break the hold but he still doesn’t allow Mark Michaels back to his feet. He drives his knee square in Michaels back and jerks the other man’s arms back.”
Stew: “Michaels flattens his feet and attempts to power himself up, but Ventura continues to drive his knee into that sweet spot right between the shoulder blades. Michaels is trying to wiggle free but OH! Ventura with the headbutt to the back of Michaels head!!!”
Talib: “Ventura finally lets go and jerks Michaels up to his feet by the hair. He turns Michaels around…”
Stew: “BUT Michaels with a decisive right hand to Ventura’s jaw. The champ falls back against the ropes. Michaels swings again. Ventura ducks! He kicks Michaels in the stomach and throws him into the corner! He levels Michaels with precise strikes and kicks! He grabs him by the arm and looks to throw him into the opposite corner. Michaels plants his feet and attempts to reverse the whip…”
Talib: “Ventura is to strong! He plants Michaels down into the mat with a clothesline. Ventura scoops up Michaels and whips him into the ropes. Michaels comes flying back at Ventura! Ventura with the standing dropkick right to the face!”
Stew: “Michaels rolls out of the ring and drops down to the mat. He probably didn’t expect to start the match out like this. Ventura is down after him but Michaels quickly slides back in. Ventura is not going to fall for that. He’s not going to follow Michaels back in. Instead he drops down to his knees and lifts up the ring skirt.”
Talib: “Ventura withdraws a kendo stick and climbs back up onto the apron. Michaels gets a running start and goes flying at Ventura!”
CRAAAAAAAAAAACKKKKKK!
Stew: “Ventura slams the stick into the face of Mark Michaels and we have blood! It didn’t even take five minutes and Mark Michaels’ nose is busted right open. Ventura climbs back into the ring and twirls the kendo stick, literally stalking around a downed Mark Michaels. He’s allowing Mark to sit up and as Mark does, Ventura swings again!”
Talib: “Michaels falls to the side and rolls out of the way as Ventura again tries to hit him with the kendo stick. Michaels jerks Ventura’s feet out from underneath of him and is now all over the champ. He is raining blow after blow down on Ventura’s face and head, and that kendo stick as fallen from Ventura hands. Michaels grabs for it and immediately slams it down onto Ventura’s throat! He’s choking the crap out of him but somehow Ventura is still able to muscle Michaels off of him!”
Stew: “Ventura looks a little salty that Michaels tried to choke out, and makes a beeline for the challenger. Michaels swings wildly with that kendo stick! Ventura evades it! He gets the boot up! It connects with Michaels’ face!”
Talib: “Ventura knocks the kendo stick out of the way and looks towards the steel ring steps. He has a better weapon in mind!”
Stew: “Ventura grabs his barbed wire wrapped hourglass and stalks towards Mark Michaels. Michaels attempts to crawl out of the ring, but Ventura grabs him by the back of the tights and jerks him back in. He takes the hourglass and rakes it down the back of Mark Michaels, causing the social media phenom to cry out in agony. He literally just cut into the man’s back and now the blood pouring from those wounds is matching the blood from Michaels’ busted nose!”
Talib: “Ventura flips Michaels over and goes to do the same thing to Michael’s chest, but Michaels gets his hands up and kicks at Ventura. His kick barely stuns Ventura, but it does allow Michaels to start kicking at Ventura’s hand! He drops the hourglass and Michaels grabs it. Ventura lunges for his opponent, but Michaels quickly gets to his feet!”

Stew: “He slams the hourglass right into Ventura’s face! Ventura is busted open but Mark Michaels is not done! Over and over he beats Ventura, literally trying to incapacitate the Hardcore Champion!”
Talib: “Look! Michaels is getting up and rushing towards the ring steps! He reaches out and shatters that hourglass right on the steps. A wide grin spreads across Mark Michaels’ face he lets the sand from that hourglass pour into his hand!”
Stew: “Ventura is making his way over to Michaels but Michaels was waiting! He flings the sand in Ventura’s eyes, blinding the Caster of Dreams! Ventura is blind! He can’t see! Michaels takes the broken hourglass and slams it into Ventura’s bloody forehead, sending the champ to the mat! Whatever sand is left in that thing, Michaels is emptying into his hand!”
Talib: “I guess sand is just as good as salt in this match because he is rubbing it into the exposed wound on Ventura’s forehead! The champ is really suffering right now and Mark Michaels is unwrapping that barbed wire from around the broken pieces of the hourglass.”
Stew: “Michaels frees the strand of barbed wire and wraps it around his own fist. He begins mercilessly pounding away on Ventura, making sure he opens up that wound even further. Mark Michaels is not holding back whatsoever tonight and I don’t blame him! He has been mocked, ridiculed, and told he could not achieve greatness here in EAW. Tonight is his opportunity to prove all his doubters wrong!”
Talib: “Michaels finally backs off Ventura for just a moment and takes the time to unwrap his fist. With nothing but pure hate in his eyes, he begins to wrap that barbed wire about the head of Johnny Ventura. He gives the Caster of Dreams an actual crown and makes sure to dig those barbs into Ventura’s tattered skin! Michaels returns to a standing position!”
Stew: “I am truly amazed by what I’m seeing. Ventura’s face is an actual crimson mask right now because Mark Michaels is stomping away on the champ’s face. That barbed wire Michaels wrapped around Ventura’s head is doing the damage he wanted!”
Talib: “But if that’s the case, then why is Ventura smiling?! How can he possibly be enjoying this???”
Stew: “Michaels’ looks down and sees this and honestly he looks stunned. He’s shaking his head in disbelief because he doesn’t understand how anyone can be smiling right now. He jerks Ventura up to his feet and slams his fist into his face! Ventura fires back with one of his own and Michaels staggers back! These two guys are just punching each other right in the face!!! Ventura catches Michaels with a stiff uppercut and Michaels now finds himself backed against the ropes, and that gives Ventura the chance to wrap his hands around the throat of Mark Michaels and choke him!”
Talib: “Oh he’s going to do more than just choke the social media guru! Look! Ventura is headbutting Michaels!!!”
Stew: “Good God! He’s using his own head and that barbed wire crown as a destructive weapon right now. This has certainly backfired big time on Mark Michaels! TWO…. THREE…. FOUR …. FIVE …. SIX TIMES VENTURA HAS SLAMMED HIS SKULL INTO MARK MICHAELS!!!”
Talib: “Jesus Christ. The fact Ventura is now resting his forehead against Mark’s is just twisted. He’s just staring into the eyes of his enemy, almost as if he’s trying to suck the soul right out of Mark’s body. If it weren’t for the fact both of them are covered in their own blood and are trying to commit a murder, you would almost think this one of those fan fic type of moments that wrestling fans just seem to lust after.”
Stew: “…..right.”
Talib: “Is Ventura…”
Stew: “VENTURA IS DRAGGING HIS OWN CROWN OF THORNS ACROSS MARK MICHAELS’ FOREHEAD! Michaels is pouring more blood now and finally Ventura lets go of his throat!! He’s laughing at all this carnage he has caused and wow, just wow. What the heck is he going to do now?!”
Talib: “HE’S UNWRAPPED THE BARBED WIRE CROWN FROM AROUND HIS HEAD AND IS PUTTING IT AROUND HIS SHOE!!!!”
Stew: “Every single person in this building is urging Ventura on. Listen at these sickos cheer for this madness! They must be the type of people who get off on Googling accident pictures and dead bodies! Ventura is just kicking the crap out of Mark Michaels with his barbed wire wrapped boot and at the moment, Mark Michaels is defenseless!”
Talib: “Ventura seems satisfied with the damage done for the time being and unwraps the barbed wire. He heads over to the turnbuckle and begins to unlace that protective padding. He’s already killed Mark Michaels’ selfie game for the foreseeable future by turning the man’s forehead into raw hamburger meat so I’m not sure what he’s trying to do now.”
Stew: “Well he’s coiling that stupid crap around the exposed steel of the turnbuckle so who knows at this point?!”
Talib: “Well by some stroke of whatever higher power there might be, Mark Michaels still has some life left in him. He’s valiantly trying to pull himself over to the corner! He’s so close to making it but Ventura has turned around! His eyes are narrowing like a psychopath and he’s quick to rush over! Talib: “I think he realizes that too because he has eyes his locked on that kendo stick that was kicked away from him earlier.”
Stew: “Michaels grabs the kendo stick and uses the ropes to haul himself back up to his feet. He staggers towards Ventura and takes a minute to wipe the blood away that has fallen into his eyes. Whether it’s his blood or Ventura’s, I don’t know! This is not exactly a sanitary situation….”
Talib: “Michaels is wielding that kendo stick and basically staggering towards Ventura. The actual look of rage in his eyes leads me to believe that he’s about to show Ventura just how badly he wants to be a champion here in EAW.”
Stew: “Michaels slams the kendo stick right across the back of the champ, and now he’s beating him senseless! Over and over Mark Michaels whips Ventura with that stick!!! Those welts look nasty!!!”

Ventura is trying to crawl his way to the ropes… I guess to pull himself out of the ring… but Mark lets go of the clutch to grab Ventura by the hair!!! He’s now bouncing Ventura’s bloody smirking face off the mat!!!”
Stew: “Over and over!!! Michaels is seriously possessed right now!!! If he’s ever going to win this match and put the Caster of Dreams away he has got to do it now. This is the biggest opportunity he’s had in this match to try and secure the win!”
Talib: “He’s got this camel clutch choke locked in again, but he is not focused on making Ventura go to sleep! Mark Michaels is eyeing that table and that leads me to believe he’s about to do something dumb.”

(Several agonizing minutes pass and neither man moves. The fans are still losing their minds, and rightfully so. These two competitors came out tonight with one goal in mind and that was to make sure they left Laramie as the Hardcore Champion.)

Talib: “Yes! He is pushing the debris out of the way and slowing sitting up! The champion trying to collect his bearings and pushes himself to up to his knees. Stew: “…. he’s about to try and hit ‘Gandiva’ from the top rope. He didn’t even have to signal for it this time. I think we all knew this was coming!!!!”

The camera cuts to a shot of Cameron Ella Ava and Impact preparing backstage.)

(A highlight video begins to play show Impact’s feud and subsequent victory over Jamie O’Hara at Pain for Pride before cutting to Cameron taking out Mr. DEDEDE with his own equaliser before show both competing in the same match to see who would advance to the contenders match to crown Darkane’s first challenger for the Answers World Championship with Cameron coming out victorious. The camera cuts to the next week showing Impact taking out Cameron and Jack Ripley making the cover and Cameron’s loss. For the last few years Dynasty has presented a show that has been titled: House of Glass. It has been a PPV that has given Dynasty the opportunity to go back to the ways of old and go back to the measures that made this company so great. But, with that being said – I’m here to announce that House of Glass has been retired and from its ashes comes a brand new event, which will give this brand the true opportunity to go to whatever length they please. Stew: It is now time for the absolutely biggest match in this career of this man. He’s a man that will go down as one half of arguably the greatest tag team of all time as apart of the three time Unified Tag Team Champions, the High Rollerz. But, tonight isn’t about his shared success. Tonight is about Ripley walking out in front of the world and competing in his first singles championship match in his seasoned career here in EAW.
Talib: It’s an interesting match up, Stew. On paper – you see Darkane as the heavy favourite, but I don’t believe that things are so clear cut. There’s no doubt in my mind that this man is a better wrestler than the Answers World Champion, but Jack Ripley is going to have to make sure that he doesn’t lose control of this match. If he wants to become the Answers World Champion – he’s going to have to make sure that Darkane isn’t able to turn this match into what he wants it to be. A fight.
(“Born Too Late” by Saint Vitus hits as Darkane makes his way through the curtain to a THUNDEROUS mixed reaction from the thousands in attendance. He stands on the stage staring down at his challenger; the Answers World Championship resting comfortably around his waist.)
Stew: There may not be another man on this brand that is on a bigger role that the man that sits at the head of the table is on right now. His match with Scott Diamond at Pain for Pride was absolutely phenomenal; it was the night where he finally took hold of something he was moving towards for months, and now that he has it… I’m not too sure who’s going to be able to take it away from him.
Talib: I said it best when I said that Ripley can’t allow this man to allow things to break down. Darkane is going to want to turn this match into a brawl; take his opponent out of his element and slowly break him down. He’s going to want to make him hurt; make him want to quit. I don’t believe that this match is going to be pretty in the slightest, but I can’t pick who’s going to come out as the Answers World Champion. You just can’t count out the challenger.

The referee takes the Answers World Championship and raises it high into the air before handing it to the time keeper and calling for the bell.)

Stew: The bell rings and our MAIN EVENT for the Answers World Championship is officially underway! Darkane immediately stepping forward as Ripley pops down to the canvas. Whoever takes control early in this main event is going to tell an extremely telling point for how this contest may go. The two slowly circling around the ring and eventually lock up! Darkane immediately takes control using his power advantage to trap Ripley in a side headlock. Ripley quickly pushing his boot into the back Darkane’s knee managing to create enough leverage to slip out – and he slaps Darkane in the back of the head! Darkane shoots to his feet and instantly rushes forward swinging for a wild clothesline! Ripley shoots forward and slides, grabbing Darkane by the legs and pulls them out from under the Champion. Darkane falls chest first on the canvas and Ripley quickly shoots over the top and locks in a front facelock! Ripley knows that he’s not going to back to stand against Darkane, but when things are down like this that he has all the control.
Talib: Ripley looking to get under the skin of the champion and it worked early. Darkane trying to fight back to his feet, but Ripley fires with a knee to the top of the head. Ripley fires with a second before transitioning onto the back of Darkane. I think he knows that he’s not going to be able to keep Darkane down this early into the contest. Ripley trying to lock his forearm under the jaw of the Answers World Champion who’s pushed his way up to a knee. Ripley uses his legs to lock the waist of Darkane; this is extremely smart from the challenger. This forces Darkane to burn energy by having to lift the weight of the challenger also. Darkane’s back to a knee before shooting back to his feet and rushes back, driving Ripley back into the corner! Ripley release AND DARKANE IMMEDIATELY FIRES WITH A VICIOUS RIGHT HOOK! That connected flush on the jaw! Ripley staggers forward and drops down to his hands and knees!
Stew: Darkane doesn’t give Ripley the chance to recover in the slightest! Darkane follows with a knee to the ribs! Darkane with another, forcing the air out of the lungs of the challenger! Darkane dragging Ripley back to his feet and sends him across the ring and crashing into the corner! STINGER SPLASH! Ripley crushed into the corner and staggers back forward – BUT STAGGERS STRAIGHT BACK INTO THE GRASP OF THE ANSWERS WORLD CHAMPION WHO TURNS HIM BACK TOWARDS THE CORNER AND SENDS HIM FLYING BACK INTO THOSE TURNBUCKLES WITH AN EXPLODER SUPLEX! Ripley’s spine jarring in pain as Darkane sits there. This is exactly what Ripley needed to avoid, but Darkane has managed to take early control. A sick smile crossing the face of Darkane as he gets back to his feet – but, Ripley rolls out of the ring! Ripley deciding that he needs to gain some breathing room away from the Answers World Champion!
Talib: I don’t think that Darkane is willing to give it to him, Stew! Darkane rolls out of the ring behind the referee and charges around the ring – BUT RIPLEY TAKES OUT THE KNEE WITH A LOW DROPKICK! Darkane’s sent tumbling across the thin padding that covers the concrete flooring. Darkane trying to quickly push himself back to his feet, but Ripley’s there to roll him straight back into the ring! Ripley playing possum, luring Darkane in and takes full advantage! Darkane grabbing at that knee as he pushes himself back up. Ripley shooting onto the apron and stalks – RIPLEY SPRINGBOARDS OFF THE TOP ROPE!! SPRINGBOARD CLOTHESLINE!!! The Answers World Champion taken back down, but Ripley isn’t finished with just that! DARKANE IS DOWN AND RIPLEY SHOOTS INTO THE FIRST AND POSSIBLY ONLY PIN ATTEMPT OF THIS MAIN EVENT!!!

Stew: KICKOUT FROM THE CHAMPION!!!
Talib: Ripley may have not gotten the win with that move, but this has to give the challenger a lot of confidence. He has the Answers World Champion on the back foot. He found a way to stop his momentum in an instant and almost knock him out cold just a few moments later. Ripley is back to his feet and calls the champion back up. Darkane getting back up, but Ripley catches him with a HARD shoot kick to the chest the moment he makes it back to a knee – Standing Bicycle Kick follows the shoot kick – AND THEN A SIDE KICK TO THE JAW!!!! RIPLEY NOT TAKING ANY HALF MEASURES AS DARKANE REMAINS ON HIS KNEES… WAIT!! THE ANSWERS WORLD CHAMPION IS LAUGHING!!! Ripley doesn’t know what to do. He just hit the Answers World Champion with three cracking shots and he’s laughing them off! Ripley first with another shoot kick to the chest! DARKANE CATCHES THE LEG!! DARKANE GETTING BACK TO HIS FEET!!!! ENZIGURI!!!! RIPLEY CONNECTS WITH A KICK TO THE SIDE OF THE HEAD!!!! DARKANE IS STUNNED, AND YOU CAN SEE THE URGENCY FROM THE CHALLENGER!!! DARKANE IS STILL ON HIS FEET!!! RIPLEY IS BACK TO HIS FEET AND CHARGES FORWARD – BUT RUNS STRAIGHT INTO THAT DOUBLE-A SPINEBUSTER!!!! Ripley driven spine first into the canvas, but look at Darkane! The Champion quickly moves into the mount and begins to fire away with those closed fisted shots!
Stew: Those are illegal strikes from the champion! The referee quickly dragging the champion off the challenger, but the damage may be done! Darkane is back to his feet and a dazed Jack Ripley isn’t too far behind him! Darkane has the challenger locked in his sight as Ripley gets back to his feet and stumbles back into the ropes! CACTUS CLOTHESLINE!!!! BOTH MEN CRASHING OVER THE TOP ROPE AND SPILL TO THE OUTSIDE!!! Ripley takes a bad fall, but the Answers World Champion is already back to his feet! Darkane may be intent on punishing Jack Ripley! Ripley pushes back onto his hands and knees, BUT DARKANE GRABS HIM BY HIS HAIR AND SENDS HIM CRASHING INTO THOSE UNFORGIVING STEEL STEPS!!!! THE STEPS EXPLODING APART, BUT DARKANE ALREADY HAS A HOLD OF HIM AGAIN – AND THIS TIME SENDS HIM INTO THE BARRICADE!!!

Stew: The referee beginning his count –
Talib: I don’t believe that Darkane cares about the count in the slightest! This may be about to turn into a long night for Jack Ripley! Ripley’s eyes are open, but there may be nobody home as Darkane grabs him! Darkane pulls Ripley in, who isn’t putting up any struggle and powers him up into the air BEFORE DROPPING HIM SPINE FIRST ACROSS THE BARRICADE WITH A VERTICAL SUPLEX!!

Stew: Ripley left laying on the top of that barricade as Darkane rolls back into the ring! I think the champion may be content with a countout victory! Darkane calling Ripley back to the ring, asking if he’s willing to put himself through more punishment! Ripley rolls off the barricade and drops back down to the floor!

Stew: Ripley rolling towards the ring and uses the apron to pull himself back up! Ripley clutching at his spine; it has to be in pure agony!

Stew: We may learn a lot about Ripley tonight! We may get to see how deep he may be able to dig down in order to continue! Darkane pushing himself back to his feet… and he calls for the end! Darkane is ready to put this one to rest as he backs into the corner! Ripley is stirring, but I don’t know how much the man has left! Darkane stalking intently; it’s been a great effort, Jack! Jack is slowly pushing himself back to his feet! He’s about to understand the true meaning of Darkane Times! JACK IS BACK UP —- AND DARKANE ALMOST BREAKS HIM IN HALF WITH THAT DEVIL MAY CRY!!!!! NO, RIPLEY GETS OUT OF THE WAY AND DARKANE HITS THE MIDDLE TURNBUCKLE FACE FIRST!!! DARKANE IS ABSOLUTELY STUNNED!!!! RIPLEY TRYING TO SHAKE OUT THE COBWEBS!!!! DARKANE PUSHES HIMSELF OUT OF THE CORNER AND BACK – AND RIPLEY SCOOPS HIM UP ONTO HIS SHOULDER!!!! LAWN DART!!!!! DARKANE THROWN BACK FACE FIRST INTO THE CORNER!!!!! DARKANE STILL REFUSING TO GO DOWN – AND RIPLEY CRACKS HIM IN THE HEAD WITH A ROUNDHOUSE KICK!!!

Talib: Wow! You have to believe that the cover had to hurt Ripley there! Exhaustion setting in and all he did was fall back on Darkane! Ripley just sitting there looking at the referee; he needs to capitalise on this opportunity! He needs to put the champion away and make history! Jack Ripley pushing himself back to his feet; fire in his eyes like none that I’ve seen in the man before! He’s calling Darkane back to his feet; he wants to kick the man’s teeth down his throat! He wants his moment as Answers World Champion! Darkane slowly pushing himself back to his feet; he has no idea what’s waiting for him! DARKANE’S BACK UP!!!!! YOU’LL FLOAT TOO!!!!!! Stew: Darkane does it! Darkane has retained the Answers World Championship against a valiant Jack Ripley!
Talib: What a great way to end tonight’s incredible show! There were moments where I thought that both men were walking out of tonight as the Answers World Champion, but Darkane just manages to hold onto the gold!
Stew: Jack Ripley gave an awesome fight against the champion; you can say he had this match won if Darkane didn’t fall out of the ring after that Superkick. We could be celebrating the crowning of a new champion. But tonight wasn’t his night.
(Darkane gets back to his feet and celebrates with his Answers World Championship as he makes his way to the ramp.)
