(EAW intro plays)
(Showdown opens up with a recap of the events of Territorial Invasion from Showdown’s side. Kasai is able to win the Divide and Conquer match for Showdown. Madison Kaline fails to capture a victory against Champagne Charlie and Sienna Jade. Team Showdown doesn’t succeed in winning Brand Warfare with Team Dynasty picking up the victory. Serenity and Halsey Neel pick up a win over the Off-Brand Amphetamines and IDOL-GUN. Jon Kelton is successful in defending his National Elite Championship but Veena attacks him after the match. Milli retains the Specialists Championship against Pandora Paisley. Ashlynn tries to get a gift for Veena but Devolution ends up breaking into the suite they were staying in and they laid the both of them out after what Veena did earlier in the night. And sadly, in the Wargames Match Team Showdown isn’t successful either as Team Dynasty takes the win there as well.)
(The recap ends, and it is replaced with the song “Brick Wall” by a Day to Remember, as the camera pans around the inside of The New Adana Stadium in Adana, Turkey. Blue fireworks are shooting out of the stage and a very excited crowd can be shown on their feet. The camera ends up panning over to the commentary table with Deadprez, Eve and Gavin Kirkland as the commentators.)
Eve: Welcome everybody…TO SATURDAY NIGHT SHOWDOWN!!!
Gavin Kirkland: WE ARE COMING OFF TERRITORIAL INVASION AND…Yeah, it didn’t go very well for us at all. :mjcry:
Deadprez: When does it ever go well?
Eve: Hey, hey, we are just starting off the show guys, let’s not get sad now, I am sure we will have better luck next year, I am sure of it! Anyway, even though Showdown wasn’t all that lucky at Territorial Invasion we have another Marquee Event to look towards for Showdown, as we move quickly and we head towards The Last Stand! But we have a long way to go before it, as we have a lot of exciting matches for you tonight!
Deadprez: Yes ma’am, starting this week we got the first round Iconic Cup matches, Ashlynn Quinn versus Usagi Senshi, Caroline vs Kasai, and Princess Candice vs ARIA, as well as Nikki Kimura facing off against Kirk Redwood and our main event being Adam Lucas and Miss CITV Sheridan Muller going up against the National Elite Champion Jon Kelton and the Empress of Elite, Serenity!
Gavin Kirkland: And to start off the show we are going to have the General Manager of Showdown, Kennedy Street opening up! And uh…I think she won’t be in such a good mood. :lupe: She looks better while smiling! Anyways, LET’S GET RIGHT ON WITH THE SHOW!
(“Her” by Megan Thee Stallion plays throughout the arena as Kennedy Street, the General Manager of Showdown along with Heidi Huxley, the Disney representative and Kennedy’s bodyguard and muscle, AJAX also in the ring, as she paces and does not look happy.)
Kennedy Street: Cut the music.
(The crowd boos as Kennedy doesn’t even pay attention to the sold out crowd in Turkey. Kennedy sighs but when the Sexy Flawless Diva is angry, she wears the heart on her sleeve. With a scowl on her face, she begins to speak as the theme fades.)
Kennedy Street: Kennie is pissed off!
(The crowd peppers her with more boos, the Turkish faithful lets Kennedy know how much they dislike her.)
Kennedy Street: Maybe what you people need to do is shut the hell up!
(And that just makes the crowd boo even louder.)
Kennedy Street: Territorial Invasion was a nightmare! All Kennie saw was Showdown, get robbed or self-implode! Team Showdown Brand Warfare fell apart! From interference from our own roster to walk outs, it was a disgrace, falling into the hands of two Elitists in ARIA and Scott Diamond which Kennie commends you both and will be rewarded for your efforts!
(She continues to pace; Heidi looks on nodding as Kennedy is absolutely furious.)
Kennedy Street: Then we have Team War Games. They fought with heart, they fought with passion, they worked well together but the incompetence of Team Voltage cost us the match! The Specialist Championship should be under the Blue Brand! At least we won Divide and Conquer so Kennie thanks Kasai and she too will be rewarded. Let me explain something to everyone while Tyrone Montgomery and that MAGA group over on Dynasty is throwing a party and streamers for pretty much having a clean sweep, Kennie on the other hand will NOT tolerate this and expects more from this roster!
(Pausing for a moment, Kennedy tries to calm herself down some.)
Kennedy Street: With that said, Kennie will start handing down rewards and punishments for what happened at Territorial Invasion! But Kennie needs to remember that Showdown is the land of opportunity. This is where stars are built so that they can continue to be the very best in the EAW. With that said, Kennie needs to think about our next Marquee Event and making it the best out of the three brands in Showdown presenting THE LAST STAND!
(Everyone cheers as Kennedy continues.)
Kennedy Street: The Last Stand is the first of it’s kind, LIVE from Tokyo, Japan and in the next couple of weeks, I will be making sure to get all the matches in place, it will be one to remember and I know there are some feuds and vendettas that will end there. We have to move forward, and Kenie will stand by what she has been saying since the very beginning that Showdown is the best brand. Tonight, we are hosting the Iconic Cup and I expect for a Showdown roster member to win it, Kennie doesn’t care if Minerva, POTARA, or anyone else is in it from Voltage, Kennie is talking about great talents like Miku Sakai, Halsey Neel, Princess Candice, Kasai, and even that emo who lent in screwing up Brand Warfare’s chances, Caroline. My expectations are very high and after the Territorial Invasion, it is time to show the EAW what this brand is all about! With that said….
(Suddenly the lights go out and the crowd starts to roar.)
Deadprez: Wait a second…. What is going on here!?
Eve: We have seen this before and if I think who it is….
(The lights come back on, and Caroline is standing right in front of Kennedy Street.)
Gavin Kikrland: IT IS CAROLINE!
(Caroline stares at Kennedy Street, she has a mic in hand.)
Caroline: I heard my name.
Kennedy Street: That’s right, honey. You did.
Caroline: I want to make sure that we are on the same page here. Not only did I hear my name, but I also heard that you were placing blame on my actions at Territorial Invasion as to why Team Showdown lost?
Kennedy Street: That is right honey, Kennie did. There is no sugarcoating anything and honestly, here Kennie is trying to figure out why you even bothered coming out here to confront me. Heidi anointed Candice Blair as the pinnacle of what Disney represents for us in the EAW, but your constant trifling took her out of the match and brought Showdown down to TWO members. Kenie gets it honey, you’re starving for attention and doing a very good job of getting it, not going to fault you there, but this is where you need to start learning to back off and not get yourself involved in things that do not concern you!
(Caroline tilts her head, glaring into the amber eyes of Kennedy Street. She then smiles.)
Caroline: You do understand that no one tells me what to do. If I want to pick on your Princess, I will. If I want to interfere in anything that doesn’t pertain to me, I will. I don’t listen very well to authority, and I definitely do not follow any rules, but I am sure you already came to that conclusion. I am not out here to apologize for my actions, if anything, I am here to remind you and Heidi here that no one is going to protect your Princess or anyone for that matter from me.
(Kennedy shakes her head, not liking the disrespect. She takes a second and then stands right in front of Caroline.)
Kennedy Street: Your spookiness is cute, honey. I’m sure that worked well for you over on Dynasty but let me remind you that Kennie drafted you because she saw something special in your talents and another future champion, maybe even advancing to the next round of the Iconic Cup Tournament or even winning the whole damn thing. With that said, my suggestion is that while you are playing games, aim high and choose your battles wisely.
Caroline: Is that s….
(But Heidi Huxley gets in between Kennedy and Caroline, she is not too impressed with what has gone down and is also very annoyed that Caroline continues to mess with her anointed one.)
Heidi Huxley: Enough. You are not going to come out here and disrespect the greatest General Manager the EAW has ever seen nor are you going to disrespect Disney and the woman I personally chose to represent the brand and what we do! So, my suggestion Caroline is you get out of the ring and know your role on this brand!
(Caroline smiles and suddenly the lights go out. The crowd roars as there is silence.)
Deadprez: The lights go out and……
(The lights come back on, and Heidi Husley is covered in some black goo, she is screaming on her knees as Kennedy looks shocked and jumps in the arms of AJAX.)
Eve: HEIDI IS COVERED IN SOME BLACK GOOP! SHE IS SCREAMING BLOODY MURDER AND CAROLINE HAS MADE HER PRESENCE FELT!
Gavin Kirkland: I need to go into the ring and help Heidi!
(Officials rush in with towels and assistance as it fades into a commercial break.)
( Camera opens to a shot of Gina Romano present in the ring with a microphone in hand. )
Gina Romano: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, THE FOLLOWING CONTEST IS SCHEDULED FOR ONE FALL!!

( ‘ Dance The Night ‘ by Dua Lipa hits as the crowd erupts in a frenzy of boos as Ashlynn Quinn makes her way from the back and down to the ring, a confident yet sly grin creeping on her face as she pays no mind to the reaction of the crowd. )
DeadPrez: Ashlynn Quinn doesn’t seem like she’s playing around here tonight guys. That look on her face is one of determination, she’s motivated to advance to the next round, and she knows what winning this tournament means!
Eve: Yeah, you can practically feel the energy and excitement exuding from Ashlynn Quinn here tonight. Everything about her movements and mannerisms tonight gives off the impression of someone that’s locked in on the task at hand.
( ‘ Dance The Night ‘ fades out and is immediately replaced with ‘ A Cruel Angels Thesis ‘ by Yoko Takahashi as the crowd begins to boo as Usagi Senshi makes her way from the back and down the ramp into the ring. The look on her face more focused than ever as she attempts to stare a hole through Ashlynn. )
Gina Romano: AND HER OPPONENT, FROM OKINAWA, JAPAN, WEIGHING IN AT FIFTY-TWO KILOS, SHE IS, ‘THE MASTER OF EXCELLENCE’ USAGI!!! SENSHI!!!!
Eve: You’ve got to wonder what’s going through Usagi’s mind after what transpired at Territorial Invasion. Is her mind even going to be present in this match, or is she still going through the motions?
DeadPrez: Usagi Senshi knows what’s at stake tonight, if she allows herself to get into her head about things outside of this match she risks losing and throwing away a guaranteed opportunity at a World Championship. I know she’s got a lot on her plate, but if anyone can put drama on the back burner and keep pushing, without losing a step; it’s definitely Usagi.

DeadPrez: And here we go. Ashlynn and Usagi immediately begin circling one another, trying to find an openin— but IT’S USAGI THAT PROVES TO BE THE AGGRESSOR AS SHE IMMEDIATELY CHARGES ASHLYNN AND THROWS HERSELF AT HER OPPONENT EXECUTING A PERFECT CROSSBODY! USAGI IMMEDIATELY BEGINS MOUNTING ASHLYNN AND PULLING ON HER HAIR BEFORE THROWING ELBOWS AND FIST RIGHT INTO THE TEMPLE AND THE FACE OF HER OPPONENT!
Eve: USAGI HAS A HAND FULL OF HAIR IN ONE HAND AND THE OTHER SHES USING TO PUMMEL ASHLYNN!
Referee: Let go of her hair Usagi!!
DeadPrez: The referee is telling Usagi to let go of Ashlynn’s hair, but Usagi doesn’t care to listen as she continues her assault on her opponent here tonight!!

( ‘ Dance The Night’ by Dua Lipa begins to play as Ashlynn Quinn quickly exits the ring and runs up the ramp as the crowd begins to erupt in boos, to which she simply smirks and laughs as she raises her arms in celebration before heading to the back. )
DeadPrez: That was well played by Ashlynn Quinn, you can say what you want, but what she did was show amazing ring awareness and in the process she just beat one of the best young talents on Showdown.
Eve: I couldn’t agree more. This match genuinely could have gone either way, and even though at time it appeared as if it was going to go in Usagi’s favor, Ashlynn proved why she is as well touted as she is. Amazing effort by both elitists here tonight.
Gavin Kirkland: You know…I don’t think that was her first time being choked.
DeadPrez: Aw.. come on man..
Gavin Kirkland: :lupe: I’m just saying she recovered really quick like she’s had practice or somethi-
Eve: This was an amazing effort by both of these talented young elitists here tonight. And truly a match that could have gone either way. But tonight belongs to Ashlynn Quinn, who will be moving on to the second round.
( The camera pans back to the ring to show Usagi Senshi holding her head visibly seething, and ARIA on the ramp upset before panning elsewhere. )
(We cut to the back and in particular the office of Showdown General Manager Kennedy Street. She doesn’t seem to be in the best of moods especially after what happened to start the show with Heidi, and that is probably partially due to Daryl Kinkade who is standing opposite her desk. Kennedy doesn’t seem particularly interested in what Daryl has to say, but she takes her job seriously and knows that this is all part of it.)
Daryl Kinkade: Kennedy, you know as well as I do that, I was on a hiding to nothing out there. You made me Captain, and I was ready to bring it home for Showdown, but then I was saddled with a bunch of ingrates like Candice.
Kennedy Street: You chose your team Honey.
Daryl Kinkade: Yeah, but look at my options. It’s not like the talent pool is particularly deep around here is it?
(Kennedy obviously doesn’t like that comment one bit, after all it was her that put together that roster. She believed in opportunity, and she had looked towards the future. Daryl was clearly dismissing that logic.
Daryl Kinkade: Look, all I am saying is I did the best I could. I led this team, we did our best, and thus I earned an opportunity at some gold.
(Kennedy sighs.)
Daryl Kinkade: I’ve dealt with some real adversity since I came to Showdown, and I think I have proven that right now I deserve another shot at the Answers World Champion. If it weren’t for shoddy refereeing, I would be the Answers World Champion.
(Kennedy thinks on it for a few seconds, pondering how she should deal with this situation. To her it was obvious that Daryl hadn’t earned anything of the sort, but it was clear that Daryl was one of the top talents on Showdown, even if hadn’t evidenced it in Brand Warfare.)
Kennedy Street: Yes, you were the Captain, the Captain of a losing team, just like Adam Lucas. You both let this brand down Daryl, and I cannot and will not tolerate that from either of you. I will say that at least Adam played his part, but you, you hardly made a dent in that match. We lost partly because of you…
Daryl Kinkade: Now hold on…
Kennedy Street: Kennie is talking Honey, and I would suggest that you don’t interrupt.
(Daryl bites his tongue, knowing what she could do to him if he persisted.)
Kennedy Street: Now, I’m not going to say you didn’t try Daryl, but it clearly wasn’t enough, or we wouldn’t be here with Dynasty taking all the plaudits. I DO appreciate your efforts, but you are going to have to do a LOT more than that to get another shot at Adam Lucas. You should concentrate…
(At that moment, the door opens, and PJ Hendrix walks in. Kennedy rubs her forehead, she had a headache coming on and all this wasn’t helping. PJ immediately looks at Daryl, and eyes him up and down.)
PJ Hendrix: I want to talk to Kennedy for a second, so I need YOU to leave.
(Daryl looks stunned, his forehead furrowed, and he quickly shakes his head.)
Daryl Kinkade: Uh, what do you think you’re doing bruv?
PJ Hendrix: I think I just made that clear. I need you to leave.
Daryl Kinkade: Who the hell do you think you are talking to?
PJ Hendrix: Clearly someone who doesn’t listen.
Daryl Kinkade: Listen here, I am a main event talent. One of the best this brand has to offer. You obviously are not. And you don’t talk to me like that!. Not ever.
(PJ laughs, clearly not intimidated in the slightest.)
PJ Hendrix: Main event huh? That’s funny considering you ate shit at Territorial Invasion too.
(Daryl hates the disrespect, and looks to Kennedy who only shrugs her shoulders, obviously entertained by the interaction. Daryl therefore turns back to PJ and gets in his face.)
Daryl Kinkade: Word of advice sunshine, you’d better watch your back. Never, ever, cross me again.
(With that Daryl leaves the office, PJ just smirks as he goes. He turns to face Kennedy and rolls his eyes.)
PJ Hendrix: That guy huh?
Kennedy Street: He’s certainly a character. Now Honey, what can I do for you?
PJ Hendrix: Heck, I know I’m not the main event yet, but I want to be. I want another shot as well.
Kennedy Street: Doesn’t everyone?
PJ Hendrix: You’ve seen what I can do Kennedy, all I need is one more chance.
(Kennedy eyes him, and to be fair to PJ, Kennedy had been impressed with him thus far. When the draft took place, Kennedy purposely was looking to shape talent, and in PJ she saw something. She starts to smile, before she then speaks.)
Kennedy Street: You know what PJ; all you have to do is earn it…
(PJ looks more than a little confused, he believed he had earned it even in defeat.)
Kennedy Street: And luckily for you, I know exactly how you are going to do it.
(PJ is now intrigued and leans forwards as Kennedy starts to explain just as we fade into the commercial break.)
(We come back from the commercial as PJ is just heading towards the door.)
Kennedy Street: So, we have an understanding?
PJ Hendrix: Yeah, I know what I must do.
(PJ leaves, Kennedy looking pleased with herself, but her face changes as she looks back towards the monitor and see’s Madison Kaline in the ring with a mic in hand. Kennedy raises an eyebrow, her eyes now totally focused on the monitor as Madison starts to speak.)
Madison Kaline: I am out here to talk to you about one of the greatest injustices in the history of this company. There is literally no question and no debate to be had with the notion that I am one of the greatest Elitists that EVER lived.
(We cut back to Kennedy Street who is still watching, her eyes widening at that comment.)
Madison Kaline: I am a Hall of Famer, wherever I go I command respect. And yet, I am NOT getting that respect from the General Manager Kennedy Street
(We cut away again and Kennedy’s expression now changes to one of annoyance. She wasn’t one for negative feedback, especially when it pertained to her.)
Deadprez: It seems like Madison is about to lay it all down on the line.
Eve: The best way to get your contract terminated if you ask me
Madison Kaline: Since I was drafted to Showdown by Kennedy, I have been abused by her, and not treated in the way I have earned. I have been misused and have not been given the kind of match that my status deserves. Kennedy Street has tried to break me, but I am not for breaking, not by her or anyone else. But I will NOT stand for it. So, I’m out here right now DEMANDING that I be traded to a brand much more worthy of my talents. I am DEMANDING that Kennedy Street comes out her right NOW, and rubber stamp my request.
(We cut back to the office, Kennedy looking at the screen in total disbelief that this is happening. She doesn’t move, and in fact doesn’t even bat an eyelid, and instead picks up the remote to the monitor and turns it off.)
Kennedy Street: Not worth my time Honey.
(We then cut back to the ring, Madison looking up the rampway and waiting as the fans boo for both Madison and the lack of appearance from the General Manager.)
Madison Kaline: Come on Kennedy. This is all on you so be a woman and face up to your mistakes. I can wait all night.
Gavin Kirkland: I’m not sure she can get away with talking to Kennedy like this.
Eve: I think Madison believes she can talk to anyone, in any way she wants.
(Madison continues to look up the rampway, waiting for Kennedy to emerge which she obviously doesn’t, Kennedy now not even listening and Madison not aware.)
Madison Kaline: See, you all now know what kind of woman she is. She disrespects her power; she disrespects me because she is SCARED of me.
Deadprez: Now that is just ridiculous.
Eve: Now where is she going?
(Madison slides out the ring and grabs a steel chair, sliding it into the ring. She then unfolds it and takes a seat, crossing her legs.)
Madison Kaline: OK Kennedy if that’s how you want to play it. If you cannot face up to your responsibilities, so be it. You tried to ruin my career, that isn’t going to happen. But I am going to sit right here and ruin your show.
Deadprez: Looks like we have ourselves a sit-down protest
Eve: Oh joy… like whenever has that achieved anything?
(Madison sits in the middle of the ring defiantly and sure that she will get her way. The fans start to get restless, and boo her even louder, a ‘Kennedy’ chant even breaking out, it’s a shame Kennedy wasn’t listening to it.)
Madison Kaline: Boo all you like; you are not the one being treated like this. After all that I have done for this company. After all that I have done for YOU all.
(The boos just gets louder still, those boos are finally replaced by cheers and five members of the security team step through the curtain and head down to the ring. They don’t even hesitate and surround Madison who still doesn’t stand.)
Eve: Well, this was all kind of predictable.
(A camera picks up the audio, and the conversation.)
Security: We have been asked to remove you from the building by General Manager Kennedy Street
Madison Kaline: Well, you can tell her from me that I am not going anywhere.
Security: Please, get to your feet and leave the ring.
Madison Kaline: NO. Make me
(Immediately two of the security team grab her arms and lift her up, almost dragging her out the ring as Madison screams at the top of her voice for them to let her go. Once out the ring, she is then dragged up the ramp, as the crowd predictably reacts.)
Crowd: NANANANA, NANANANA, HEYHEYHEY, GOODBYE
(The camera follows as Madison is taken to the exit, past Kennedy Street’s office, the woman herself standing there obviously annoyed as they pass.)
Madison Kaline: This isn’t the last of this Kennedy. I promise you this will not go unnoticed by people that matter
(Kennedy turns and steps back into her office closing the door, as Madison is taking out the exit and out of the arena. The Security team then went back into the arena and shut the door behind them. Madison stamps her feet on the pavement.)
Madison Kaline: You can’t do this to me. I am Madison Kaline
(Scene cuts away, leaving a distraught Madison outside.)
(‘The Dark Horse Always Wins’ by Blues Saraceno plays as Kirk Redwood comes out to a pretty roaring crowd. Some of the more testosterone-filled people in the crowd begin throwing beers around the arena and stuff, making things very manly like. Solomon goes out with him, as they walk down the entrance ramp and into the ring.)
Gina Romano: THIS MATCH IS SCHEDULED FOR ONE FALL WITH A TWENTY MINUTE TIME LIMIT! INTRODUCING FIRST, KIRK REDWOOD!
(‘Vroom’ by Hoodie Allen & Connor Price plays as Nikki Kimura and Kasai come out to a roaring crowd once again. They are more positive this time, as the crowd high fives them and does wholesome things as they walk down the ramp and enter the ring. Kasai eyes down Solomon and Nikki eyes down Kirk.)
Gina Romano: AND HIS OPPONENT, ACCOMPANIED BY KASAI, NIKKI KIMURA!
(DING! DING! DING!)
Gavin Kirkland: And so we begin! Kirk Redwood and Nikki Kimura are in the ring for the first time ever, and their styles are a perfect fit for each other! Nikki and Kirk are circling the ring now, but Kasai is in the corner and she’s screaming for Nikki to get to fighting! We know Kasai has taught her some of her hard-hitting Japanese style, so I wouldn’t be too surprised if fists start flying right here! Nikki listens to her ‘coach’ and starts walking towards the center of the ring, sending an elbow into Kirk’s face which catches him off guard!
Eve: Kirk is looking over at Solomon who looks back at him and tells him to get on with it, as Kirk sends an elbow back to Nikki’s face, but she’s prepared for it! Kasai smiles as Nikki just takes the elbow and sends an elbow back, but Kirk takes this one! Nikki knows they can trade off, so she gets too comfortable and tries another, but Kirk ducks under and lifts her up, putting her down for a Collar Bone Slam! Devastating move from Kirk Redwood here! Nikki gets up and Kasai is just telling her to brush it off!
Deadprez: Coaches on each corner talking to their fighters, this looks a lot like a boxing match here! Kirk is pushing the pace here, as he kicks her right in the shoulder with force! Kasai isn’t worried though, but Nikki is backed into the corner! Nikki tries to shove him off, but Kirk kicks her right in the solar plexus! He’s using his power and strength advantage and throws her across the ring like a ragdoll! Kirk walks her down, and Nikki is getting intimidated! He uses this mentality advantage and pushes her into the corner, before sending a shoulder barge into her gut!
Gavin Kirkland: Okay, it seems like Kirk is starting to get inside her head now, which is the last thing that Nikki wants to do here! She does not want to let Kirk and the moment get to her, as this is where she could suffer! Kirk sends a European Uppercut into her jaw, which puts her down as Kirk watches! He shuffles back and high fives Solomon as he waits for her to get up! Kasai is telling her to get up and slaps her in the face to wake her up!
Eve: Did that do enough for her to get back in the fight? I hope it did, as we would love to see more of Nikki in this match! She gets up, thankfully, but Kirk is back on it and immediately sends a knee right into her gut! Crazy knee lift puts her down, and Nikki gets up even quicker! Kirk is getting too confident here, and he unloads shots on Nikki Kimura, which is a bad thing for her! But wait— SHE COUNTERS! Uppercut from Nikki staggers Kirk back, as she’s catching her breath here now! She breathes a few times and eyes down Kirk!
Deadprez: Kirk might’ve awoken something he did not want to wake up here, and it’s starting to show! Nikki walks Kirk down and this is a momentum shift for her, but no! Kirk sends a devastating headbutt between her eyes and sweeps the legs, dropping her on her back and turning the tide back in his Favor! So far, it doesn’t seem like she can get herself over the mental block, and Kasai is aggressively slapping the mat in order to get her to really wake up here! This could mean the difference between winning or losing!
Gavin Kirkland: I don’t know how much of that is working in Nikki’s favour here, as Kirk picks her up by the hair and continues to unleash the beast with full force! He’s showing her zero mercy as he sends repeated chops into her chest, making her feel the full force of his blows! Zero respect on his side, and Kasai just wants to jump in the ring and get this over with herself! It’s clear she’s itching to do something, and Nikki is showing some signs of life as she tries to wrestle the larger man! Bad idea, though!
Eve: I don’t know what is going on in Nikki’s mind, but you do not want to do that! Solomon is mocking her in the corner and so is Kirk, and Kasai has a bright idea! She runs on the outside, and threatens to strike Solomon down! She hesitates, though, and distracts Kirk just enough to allow Nikki to send a headbutt back into his nose! She’s mounting a comeback effort here, sending a sequence of a leg kick to a Enzuigiri and doing it over and over again, pushing him back! Kirk has no answer for this fast-paced offense!
Deadprez: He definitely does not have an answer for it at all, as Nikki is doing whatever she wants here! She knows she’s far faster than he is, and she has to use that to her advantage! Nikki is rushing in back and hits him with a Soccer Kick right in the solar plexus! It puts him down, and Nikki has the advantage here! She sends another kick into his face, before pulling him up and laying him right down on the mat with a SNAP DDT! Where did that come from, as she’s really looking to lay the Smackdown on him tonight!
Gavin Kirkland: Nikki is really coming into her own here and Kasai is loving it! Solomon sees this and he’s trying to encourage Kirk to come alive, but to no avail! Kirk is lost in Nikki’s fast pace kicking-based offense, which is making Solomon worried! He looks over to the referee and begins trying to cause some commotion on the outside here! Kirk doesn’t know what he’s doing but he doesn’t like it, as Kirk refuses to cheat and instead continues to fight honorably in this match, despite the odds being turned against him now!
Eve: And it seems like Nikki and Kirk are at an even pace, sending chops into each other’s chest, but Kirk goes for a headlock! Nikki sweeps the leg and puts him down, before hooking in a headscissors, but he wrestles out of that pretty quickly! That was an insane sequence from these two competitors, who we did not think were capable of pulling something like that off! Kirk transitions as he goes for an ankle lock, showing his amateur wrestling fundamentals here too! Kirk is pushing it hard, and he’s trying to make sure she has no room to escape here tonight!
Deadprez: Nikki is very crafty and flexible though, and this could mean she escapes out of submissions easier than most people! She does! Nikki easily rolls forward and she rolls backwards, going for a Heel Lock but KIrk plants his foot down hard! He’s putting all the weight on that to prevent her from going to town on that foot of his, but Nikki is relentless! Gavin Kirkland: You certainly do not, and Nikki is just continuing this tactical game here! She’s using her superior striking to her advantage, but Kirk just walks through some of the kicks and grabs her waist! He lifts her up, and slams her back down on the mat with a devastating German Suplex! Oh my Gosh, that just hit her head pretty hard! Kasai looks on and she’s screaming for Nikki to get back in the fight, but Solomon is doing the exact same thing too! They’re screaming at their fighter in sync and this is starting to get heated up here!
Eve: It’s clear that neither of them are anywhere near the condition they were in to start this match, and they want to turn it up even more! Nikki gets up and smiles at Kasai, before meeting a Boot! No! She dodges it and immediately sweeps the leg of Kirk, as she mounts and begins landing blows on his face! She is not looking to give up here or give him any form of breathing room and she’s just letting it all out right here in this match! Kirk has his hands up and he’s trying to block them all!
Deadprez: She does not give a damn at all and it’s starting to show in the way she fights! Kasai is putting some of her influence on her, both in a good and a bad way as Kirk does not know what to do here! Solomon is begging him to fight the way he knows how, by fighting like it’s a bar brawl, but Kirk has something to prove here! He tries to kick Nikki off him, which he does, but upon turning to his back, NIkki jumps right back in and goes for a Rear-Naked Choke! She has it locked in pretty good here!
Gavin Kirkland: And I have no idea how Kirk is going to escape this one at all! Nikki is showing pure commitment on that hold, and it does not look like she’s going to let go at all! Kirk might have to pull something out of the fire here, and he does! He pulls her wrist and throws her down with an Ippon Seoi Nage! One arm shoulder throw from out of nowhere as she lands on her back! Kirk immediately recognizes the danger and locks her in with a Headlock!
Eve: She does not have anywhere to go, and Kirk is cranking that neck, hard! Nikki is reaching for the ropes, but now she is eye to eye with Solomon who is trying to intimidate the hell out of her! Kirk switches grips, and his hands are getting sweatier and more loose the longer this goes on! Whole hand grip turned to just the fingers, and this is starting to become very difficult for both of them as we near the final minutes of the match! Kirk is looking on and he’s pissed! Nikki is trying to grab the rope but Solomon pulls it back!
Deadprez: And Kirk is looking at him like he did not want that to happen, but he has to just deal with it anyways! Nikki is turned over as Kirk goes for a crossface, which is putting even more pressure on her neck! She has to go for something else here, as she’s reaching the ropes and Solomon might have to try something else here! Kasai knows she can’t let Solomon keep cheating, and even Kirk mgiht have to agree wtih her there! Nikki aims for the ropes, but Solomon tries to pull again, but the pulling momentum allows Kasai to catch him off guard with a German Suplex! Now these two are fighting on the outside!
Gavin Kirkland: I’m commentating two matches at once, this is awesome! I should get paid double for this, right– right— right? I hope I do, this is such a taxing job! Kasai and Solomon are getting into stance, as both Nikki and Kirk are looking at them and having a WTF look on their faces. They did not expect this, as they both decide to look over to them and shout at their teammates, who are engaging in full Cobra Kai competition on the outside here!
Eve: Solomon goes for a high kick, but Kasai leans back and Solomon is forced to attempt a backfist which Kasai blocks and sends a chop right into his liver! It stuns Solomon back, as the two people inside the ring continue to fight again! They’re now taking after their partners and also fighting each other inside the ring! Nikki goes for a side kick, but KIrk grabs it with ease and forces her to roll forward! Kirk tries a hook, but Nikki is able to throw him down with a Kata-Guruma! Kirk gets up, and Nikki is smiling!
Deadprez: Kirk can do nothing but respect it, as we have some people on the outside separating the two of them! Kasai and Solomon have gone at it earlier, with both of them pretty aggressive in their fight against each other thus far! Nikki runs at him, but she runs into the ropes and Kirk goes off the Springboard— THE .50 CAL CONNECTS! HE GOES FOR THE COVER!

(Veena doesn’t look very happy. She has bandages on her face after what happened at Territorial Invasion and the vicious attack by The Devolution on Veena after she laid out Jon Kelton after his match with PJ Hendrx. Veena had already made it clear she wants her title back. Veena turns and looks at Mikaela.)

Mikaela Street: It really is. Okay anyway, first off, your best friend, Ashlyn Quinn did advance in the Iconic Cup tournament, and she will face the winner of Minerva and Mei Sasaki. Your thoughts!?
Veena Adams: Yeah, good for her, happy for Ashlynn and she will do fine, but let’s talk about me for a second and the travesty that everyone saw unfold at Territorial Invasion. I have been very patient with this Mikaela, matter of fact, all I have done was bite my tongue and wait which is not my usual style. We saw what happened at Pain for Pride, right?
Mikaela Street: Yes, we did. Speaking of which, everyone knows that you were indeed robbed by Devolution or at least a version of it, many had you tabbed as still the National Elite Champion, but that was not the case as Jon Kelton did get help from none other than Pandora Paisley and at the time, Ami….
(Veena cuts Mikaela off.)
Veena Adams: No. We don’t mention his name anymore, he is gone, he is done. We don’t talk about him, but what we do talk about is Serenity Valdez and Halsey Neel’s annoying ass. Halsey is going around talking about how great Devolution is, whatever. She needs to remember…. #DisneyBesties, enough said. Here is ,my problem Mikaela, first off… NO ONE TOUCHES MY FACE. Secondly, are we really here to believe that this is Devolution’s world, and we are just living in it, right? That is where we are going with this?
(Mikaela shakes her head, not agreeing with that.)

Veena Adams: That’s good because you are the ONLY Street that thinks that. Your cousin created this Devolution and suddenly they think that they can run amuck on Showdown. I was in charge once, I was even on Kennedy’s staff last season, but how quickly that changed the second her cretins decided to rob me out of the National Elite Championship. Honestly Miks, I am tired. I am so tired just treading water right now and not being the focal point of this brand like I should be.
Mikaela Street: We have seen Ashlynn trying very hard to protect you, even went as far to not wanting you to compete at Territorial Invasion and….
(Again, Veena cuts her off this time giving her the eye, obviously annoyed that Ashlynn did that and didn’t need to be reminded of it.)
Veena Adams: I could easily go off on Ashlynn for what she did. I could look at every single instance in the last month and really just shake the hell out of Ashlynn, but she meant well. With that said though, I am not going to dwell on what happened, because let’s be honest, what happened at Territorial Invasion was mostly Ashlynn’s fault, but I am a good friend, I will not hold that over her, it is not fair. But… but I really do need for you to see that the root of all of this is Devolution. They tried to scar my face, they took my National Elite Championship, they have constantly tried to pry at me over and over, pushing my buttons, well NO MORE. Instead, I am going to tell you and your cousin right here and right now. I want my shot at the National Elite Championship, my proper rematch.
Mikaela Street: After Territorial Invasion it makes all the sense in the world. So, if you want to say anything to Kennedy Street, what would it be?
Veena Adams: Simple, I want it at The Last Stand. That’s it, and I am going to get what I want Mikaela, no one is going to deny me. Look… all I have done is taken a backseat for a top draft pick for no reason. It has been Devolution this and that, well NO MORE! Deadprez: Here comes Caroline as she makes her way to the ring for her first round matchup in the Iconic. This little jezebel gives me the creeps sometimes along with what she has been doing to Princess Candice.
Gavin Kirkland: Caroline is creepy, but I kind of like it. I wonder if she would be willing to take me for a ride on the wild side.
Eve: You’re disgusting! But Caroline has been making Princess Candice’s life a living hell, especially with the stunt she pulled against Candice in the Brand Warfare match. Tonight she is looking to cause her own brand of chaos against her First Round opponent.
(Caroline slowly enters the ring and takes her corner as her music fades off before quickly being replaced by “KARATE” by BABYMETAL. Seconds later, Kasai enters the arena to loud cheers from the crowd. She embraces the warm welcome for a second before she heads to the ring.)
Gina Romano: Introducing her opponent! From Amani, Kagoshima, Japan! Weighing 145 pounds! Here is “THE HUNTRESS” KASAI!!
Eve: This young competitor has a lot to be proud of. Last week, she picked up perhaps the biggest win of her young EAW by winning the Divide and Conquer match against 9 very worthy competitors. Tonight she is looking to continue the ride with another big win against a former New Breed Champion.
Gavin Kirkland: Kasai calls herself The Huntress because she can be very vicious in the ring. I wonder how that would translate outside the ring? Hmmm.
Deadprez: Badly for you since you’re not her type, dawg. Tonight Kasai is looking to make it two in a row. But which competitor will win the match and a trip to the Quarter Finals? We are about to find out.
(Kasai enters the ring and keeps her eyes on Caroline while taking her corner and her entrance music fades off. The referee checks both competitors before calling for the bell.)

Deadprez: Here we go! First round action on tap as Caroline and Kasai are ready to compete as they meet up in the center of the ring and lock up with Kasai using her size advantage to get Caroline in the side headlock.
Gavin Kirkland: Caroline is struggling early in that headlock and it pains me to see such a beautiful lady getting hurt like that. But that isn’t stopping Caroline from trying to find a way to get out.
Eve: It seems like the longer this rivalry with Princess Candice goes, the darker Caroline’s soul becomes and think she is getting close to the point of no return AND CAROLINE IS THROWING ELBOWS INTO KASAI’S SIDE AND SHE GETS FREE!
Deadprez: Caroline is now throwing forearms into Kasai’s face and sends her back into the ropes before whipping her off to the other side. Kasai comes back AND CAROLINE WITH A KNEE TO THE GUT THAT TAKES KASAI DOWN!
Eve: Caroline means business as she turns Kasai onto her back AND SHE IS THROWING STRAIGHT FISTS INTO KASAI’S SKULL! BARE KNUCKLES INTO THE SKULL AND THE REFEREE IS TELLING CAROLINE TO OPEN THE FISTS!
Gavin Kirkland: You do what you have to do in this type of situation. It’s either win and advance in the tournament or lose and get eliminated. Caroline is just fighting back. But she does listen when the referee reaches four.

Gina Romano: Ladies and gentlemen, here is your winner… AND ADVANCING TO THE QUARTERFINALS OF THE ICONIC CUP… CAROLINE!
Deadprez: What a match between two up and coming stars of the Showdown brand. Both ladies gave their hearts in this match, but it was the deranged lunacy of Caroline that propelled her to victory in this match.
Gavin Kirkland: Not gonna lie, I kind of dig crazy chicks. Watching Caroline in this match got me so excited. I about lost control of all bodily functions. WOOOOO CAROLINE!
(Caroline is back to her feet and the referee raises her arm in victory before Caroline snatches her arm back and glares at the referee. The referee backs off and goes to check on the still down Kasai as Caroline exits the ring and heads up the entrance ramp.)
Eve: Gavin, you are such a creepo. But I will say that underneath that deranged and psychotic exterior is the heart of a competitor. You also have to give it up to Kasai, too. She showed the same heart and fight she did at Territorial Invasion, but this time, wasn’t enough to give her the win.
Gavin Kirkland: Yeah, and now she’s out of the Iconic Cup tournament and must watch the beautiful Caroline move on in the Iconic Cup. WOOOOOOOOO!
Deadprez: I give all the credit in the world to Kasai for the amazing effort in this match, but it is the intensity and unbalanced attitude that gave Caroline the edge and the win. Now it’s Caroline who advanced to the Quarterfinals of the Iconic Cup. Congratulations to Caroline
(The final shot shows Caroline with an evil smile on her face standing at the top of the entrance ramp, looking down at Kasai, who is sitting in the ring looking frustrated and disappointed about being eliminated from the Iconic Cup as the camera cuts elsewhere.)
(Showdown quickly faded back from commercials as the lights were currently turned off for a few moments, and after a few seconds passed, they all turned back on and in the ring there was a table accompanied by a stove and a literal fridge as well, it was clear what was going to happen at this moment and who was going to come out, as ‘5 Milli’ by Icewear Vezzo quickly hit the speakers and there was a mixed reaction for the Chef, most of them being cheers due to his performance at Territorial Invasion, as Chef Viz calmly came out ready to cook, baking gloves and apron on and as well as the Chef’s hat, and he came down with a bit of a grin on his face despite the loss that he ended up taking last week at Territorial Invasion.)
Gavin Kirkland: COOK CHEF VIZ, COOK! :blessed:
Deadprez: Good to see that the man still hasn’t lost a step and hasn’t lost his smile because of the loss last week, it seems he will even host us a personal cooking lesson for everybody here!
Eve: Yeah, sadly, Team Showdown wasn’t able to come out with the win on the Wargames match but every member in that team did amazing either way despite the result, and it seems Chef Viz isn’t going to let that kind of loss bring him down going forward.
(Chef Viz quickly entered the ring through the ropes and stood in the middle of the ring as he extended his hands out in a calm manner as his music died down and he moved them up and down to tell the crowd to quiet down for a moment. It took him a few seconds before he quickly started to get to cooking, as he moved over to open the fridge and grab some clean chicken, he quickly grabbed some salt and pepper and he began to season the chicken with them. He quickly grabbed one of his stainless steel pans and put it on his stove, he added some oil into the stove and then he carefully put the chicken on the stove, letting the chicken cook for a moment before Chef Viz got out a microphone from his pocket and started speaking once again.)
Chef Viz: Generational. Undeniable. Unreachable. Prophet. All of those things you can put right next to my name and no one would even bat an eye and question it, I have said this many times since I have arrived here in this ring many years ago, you can never take that away from me as the commentators like to say, and believe me, whatever obstacle is thrown at me or my way, or whatever uncommon setback is placed upon my name, I snap my fingers in a instant and it is gone just as fast as a title reign from a Turkey Sandwich. But you all probably want to hear my thoughts about it so I used my 11th demand to every now and then make a little part of the show for me where I cook up something in front of everybody here in this building and show the deep culinary arts that I possess in both of these arms, and also to just have a nice moment for myself since Angie isn’t with me tonight.
(Chef Viz continued cooking the chicken, flipping it over and around the pan making sure the chicken was covered in oil and it cooked it into a golden and crispy chicken, and he even decided to show off a bit as he threw a bar of butter around his hands before carefully putting it on the pan as well and making sure the chicken was covered in the butter as he continued talking.)
Chef Viz: Hey, it is what it is, I have taken various losses in my time, Í have already won another match like that being the captain and being currently one of the only people to ever win Stadium Stampede, racks upon racks, trophies upon trophies, one bad apple ain’t going to end up ruining my day, and besides, why worry about that kind of thing when we got pumpkin season coming up!
(Chef Viz quickly crouched down and looked through the fridge before he carefully got out a gigantic pumpkin and put it on the table to show the pumpkin in all of its glory to the crowd at Showdown.)
Chef Viz: Now, even though chef’s like me don’t really care about pumpkins, soul food never changes season in any way, because I truly undersand the value of a pumpkin like this and the so many things I can do with it, on the health aspect this big ass mother[BLEEP] fruit can improve your vision, perfect for Christian Boy Drake so he can see how much of a clown he looks right now, he dresses like the Met Gala is every day of the damn week and he dresses like he is trying to qualify for RuPaul’s Drag Race. It can also lower the risk of cancer, incredible for someone like SOSA because he put a cancer on Soul Food Sunday and made it go into an unwakeable coma, if I ever see that man in front of my face ever again, just like Rick Ross once said, I am going to make him into Diced Pineapples. And pumpkin is also a very heart-healthy food, it can lower your risk for a heart attack or a stroke, incredible food for someone like the fat [BLEEP] of Xander Payne, I don’t even need to tell you why that is, if he missed that chair shot and it didn’t bounce off the ropes on his match, I am sure it would have bounced off his own belly and hit him right on his idiotic face.
Chef Viz: And also- Yeah, I am just screwing around again, this pumpkin stuff isn’t for me at all.
(Chef Viz quickly grabbed the pumpkin and rushed over to one of the sides of the ring before chucking it right into the crowd, luckily it didn’t land anybody…except on one of the interns who was simply minding his own business. Chef Viz wiped away his hands and then he finally finished cooking the chicken, as he moved it over to a plate, cut it up and began to eat it with all the patience in the world as he continued speaking up.)
Chef Viz: This is it right here, this is real soul food, not any of that pumpkin bull-[BLEEP] that vanilla folks that is for vanilla white folks like my teammates.
(As soon as Chef Viz started insulting Adam and Sheridan, the crowd turned slightly and began to boo him as well as the crowd being made up of mostly, well, vanilla white folks as Chef Viz laughed to himself.)
Chef Viz: Oh come on, do you all want me to sing kumbaya with them after we suffered a loss like that? Yeah, we fought as a team but we still lost, I am not going to keep teaming with them in the future, we are going to go our separate ways, even more especially considering the fact that we didn’t lose because of me at all, I showed up and I showed out as always as Chef Viz continues to do so, but do you think Adam and his anime ass speeches ended up doing much? You think Sheridan and the stick up her ass that she has did much either? Nah, Vizzy was the one who pulled all the hard work and made all the feast of food himself, because I am a different kind of special that my teammates will never be able to replicate-
(Suddenly, ‘Amerika’ by Rammstein hit the speakers and the crowd cheered in support as Sheridan walked out in a very slow but calm manner, having the Cash in the Vault Briefcase in one hand and then a microphone on the other.)
Deadprez: Ooohhhh, here we go.
Eve: It seems Sheridan isn’t going to stay on the back with her arms crossed after hearing what Viz had to say to her, and it makes sense, she didn’t expect for Viz to start putting the blame of the loss on her and Adam, but she looks more calm than anything, it seems she will try and talk things out with Chef Viz.
(Sheridan didn’t waste any time on walking down the ramp and sliding inside of the ring, she got up and stared right at Viz with a calm expression on her face while Viz stood there with both of his hands in his hips as Sheridan’s music died down and she began speaking to him.)
Sheridan Muller: Viz.
Chef Viz: Chef Viz to you, ma’am.
Sheridan Muller: Chef Viz, right, look, I don’t want this to turn into a scuffle of any sorts between us three, let’s not start pointing fingers at anybody between all three of us, I do believe that we ended up doing incredible in that match, we ended up making an amazing performance despite us losing and I think that is what we have to take from that, not having to put the blame on your other teammates and telling yourself that you did all of the hard work.
Chef Viz: Interesting words you say but I can’t help but notice the tone of your voice when answering to me, I don’t really like it at all, to me… it sounds like you are whining like you did when Soul Food Sunday took the tag team championships away from the Prescription, and believe me, it would be normal for you to whine about that and still be mad about considering Showdown ended up getting the worst part of the Prescription.
(The crowd oooh’ed as Viz ended up saying that, that comment ended up pissing Sheridan off a bit but she decided to stay calm and civil about it as she put the briefcase on the table and looked directly at Chef Viz’ eyes.)
Sheridan Muller: You do not want to do this, Chef. Believe me, I haven’t forgotten when you said that one of your rejected demands was putting me on a leash like a dog.
Chef Viz: Now, now, it was simply just a jokey joke when I said that Sheridawg. Here, let me give you something as an apology for that. I got it right here.
(Chef Viz quickly turned towards the chef, opened it up and quickly rummaged through the food before he finally grabbed something…it was a pumpkin cheesecake with whipped cream on it.)
Sheridan Muller: Wha-
(AND THEN SUDDENLY, VIZ THREW THE CHEESECAKE RIGHT AT SHERIDAN’S FACE AND IT COVERED HER FACE WITH WHIPPED CREAM. Sheridan looked in full shock and surprise as Chef Viz spoke up.)
Chef Viz: Enjoy the treat, [BLEEP]. :bronfoh:
(Chef Viz then walked out with ‘5 Milli’ playing as he left while Sheridan was trying her best to take out the whipped cream from her eyes.)
Gavin Kirkland: Aw man, seeing Sheridan’s face covered in that whipped cream-
Deadprez: You better not finish that sentence.
Eve: I agree as well, but anyway, Sheridan tried her best to be civil and calm and resolve the conflict that Chef Viz had with her but it seemed the Chef didn’t want anything to do with that at all and he just simply threw a cheesecake right on her face, will they be able to make amends or are we looking at potential new enemies?
(A referee came rushing over with a towel and Sheridan used it to wipe off the whipped cream on her face as in the ring she simply glared daggers at Chef Viz who was walking away as nonchalantly as he could with his back turned on her while Showdown faded to commercials.)
( Showdown returns from a commercial break. All the cameras have been set up, the crowd is seated, and the excitement is still going strong. Gina Romano is already standing by, ready with a microphone in hand to let us know which match is up next, just like always. )

( The announcement has been made, and it’s the Iconic Cup Tournament! When Gina raises her microphone from under her lip, the sound of ‘Rhapsody in Pink’ by Stela Cole fills the air. The crowd stands from their chairs, looking towards the stage as Candice Blair, looking as hot as she possibly can for the fight ahead, walks out, confidently smiling for her match tonight against none other than ARIA. Candice stops at the ramp and blows a kiss at the fans before striding to the ring. )

Eve: Here comes Princess Candice! We’ve seen her do great work at Territorial Invasion, and tonight she steps out as a part of the Iconic Cup Tournament to face ARIA, aiming to see if she can advance to the next round of the tournament!

( Slowly stepping into the ring, every step Candice takes is graceful, just like her appearances on a weekly basis. Candice steps up on the second rope, then throws one of her legs over the top rope as she sits there and strikes a pose for the photographers down at ringside. Candice then looks at the camera, smiles even brighter, and slowly makes her way to her corner. Candice finds herself standing in her corner, then ‘DESTINY’ by Saori Yoshida plays and the cheers continue to grow from there. ARIA arrives at the stage and slowly kneels down, gently pounding the ground while closing her eyes and reminiscing about her efforts at Territorial Invasion. She takes a deep breath, then sighs out as she slowly looks up towards the ring where Candice is standing, smiling confidently. ARIA smiles back at Candice as she slowly walks down from the stage to the ring. )

Gavin Kirkland: Iconic Cup Tourney time! Another wonderfully great time for me to witness another Iconic Cup match tonight, ah what a great night it is for me so far! :bless: But hm, who should I place my bet on tonight? ARIA? She’s great, smart, and so entertaining. Princess Candice is a wonderful representation of Disney, and the best part about her is her unlimited beauty. Ah, guys, I don’t know anymore, I’m too excited to pick one!
Eve: We know you’re really excited to watch all the Iconic Cup matches today, Gavin, and here’s another one. We’re going to find out sooner or later who will walk out of the arena and call themselves the winner. ARIA is taking on Candice Blari. These two have also just come out of the Territorial Invasion with great efforts inside the Brand Warfare match. Both women have been grinding hard for the whole last week. This week, they have been working on their strategies before coming and meeting each other in this match. We’re going to find out really soon whose efforts will make them the winner.
Deadprez: Let’s go, ARIA! Let’s go, Candice! I can’t wait to see this unfold any longer! The two women come together at the center of the ring and ARIA quickly takes down Candice by grabbing both legs, jumping over and looking to put her in a headlock. Candice escapes from under her arm, rolling back onto her feet and picking ARIA up from behind. Attempting for a waistlock takedown, but ARIA counters, landing on her feet and delivering a back elbow to the face of Candice Blair, sending her reeling to the ground and now applying a headlock from behind while kneeling! ARIA keeps her strategy strong! Go girls!
Gavin Kirkland: ARIA is just making sure she checks all the boxes, but Candice is looking to add some spice. Candice tries to roll to the left and right, but ARIA keeps her pinned down in a sweat-soaked position with a headlock from behind. ARIA looks to keep the hold tightened, while Candice doesn’t even resist against her attack. She starts to come back up and grabs ARIA’s arm, sending a shot to her stomach with a back elbow, and ARIA slowly retreats. Princess may have to play a little rough with the Miracle Maker here.
Eve: ARIA has been sent back with a forearm to the side of her face from Candice, now sending ARIA to retreat back even further, ending up leaning against the ropes there. Candice steps in and now sends ARIA flying across the ring. ARIA rebounds and Candice runs in for a Dropkick at ARIA!
Gavin Kirkland: Sidestepping by ARIA, leaving Candice crashing down to the ground right away! Candice finds herself sprawled on the ground when she jumps in for a dropkick. ARIA is there, snaring by and getting ready for her exceed charged move… ZIRCON CUTTER-
Deadprez: WOAH!
Eve: ARIA almost had it! Candice has just caught her with both arms, holding ARIA instead, now sending ARIA rolling to the ground, lying down on both knees. The Miracle Maker has been intercepted… SUPERKICK TO ARIA! Her jaw has been sent soaring into the atmosphere by the superkick, Candice now hoisting herself up from both knees into a position there, finishing her rise all the way up!…. EXPLODER SUPLEX! PERFECTLY EXECUTED!
Gavin Kirkland: That’s surely a pretty combo from Princess Candice! I’m sure she may have a bigger chance to win this match sooner or later if she could hit this! ARIA now has been knocked down on the ground, and Princess Candice coming back for the ground there, shooting back like a comet and patiently waiting for ARIA to reach back onto her feet, coming back from the corner there. What’s Princess up to?!
Deadprez: ARIA back to both feet as Candice flies right into ARIA and looks for a Spinning Wheel Kick at ARIA but ARIA has managed to duck again! Candice sends herself crashing to the ground once more and ARIA is just waiting for the right move to make! Candice is coming back to her feet and ARIA is right behind her!…. HOOK KICK TO CANDICE’S SKULL!
Eve: Candice has just suddenly been connected hard by a Hook Kick from ARIA, leaving her momentarily fainting on the ground there. ARIA is still on both feet, and so is Candice, walking through the motions like a zombie. ARIA shifts her focus towards Candice there, and now holds her from behind!….
Gavin Kirkland: BLUE THUNDER BOMB!

ARIA has been dealing more and more significant damage to Candice Blair so far here. Candice has just kicked out and is now heading down towards the corner, beginning to pick things up once again. ARIA rolls back to both feet and turns her attention right towards where Candice goes after a kick out. The Miracle Maker now runs from the half field and looks for the corner attack maneuver on Candice!
Eve: Candice lifts her boot just in time, catching ARIA off guard and sending her stumbling back inside the ring. ARIA propels herself into the boot, and Candice steps up to the second rope… flying from it and rolling her up. ARIA immediately rolls awkwardly right back up, her feet, running towards Candice and turning her into a Jackknife roll-up instead! The Jackknife puts both shoulders on the ground, ARIA with another cover on Candice Blair!

Gavin Kirkland: WHAT A MATCH! ARIA wins, which gives some credit to Caroline for a quick distraction that caused Candice to lose her focus in this match. ARIA has just delivered a hard knee right here and is picking up a win tonight! What a match regardless of what we’ve just seen!
Eve: Candice clearly isn’t going to be happy about this! This isn’t the first time Caroline has caused her trouble, let alone got her close to losing a battle! This is getting much more annoying for the Princess now. But what could she be doing next?!
Deadprez: Man, Candice almost had it! Caroline just came in clutch and did the light work! I wish there weren’t so many distractions, but you know, I think it can’t be stopped after all!
Gavin Kirkland: I guess we’ll have to see from here what’s next for both women, but all we know is ARIA has made it to the quarter-finals round!
( ‘DESTINY’ by Saori Yoshida plays as ARIA rolls back to her feet, celebrating her victory over Candice Blair with both hands raised high, soaking in the cheers. The camera cuts to Caroline, looking satisfied and smiling wickedly, then back to Candice, gazing down at ARIA and seeming a little dissatisfied with what she has just witnessed. From there, it shows the defiant scene of ARIA, continuing to revel in her victory, before the scene fades into a commercial break. )
(After the commercial break, Candice is pictured holding her head, still feeling the effects of her match with ARIA. There are no deer running around, or bird song, not even a rainbow in sight, the reason for that being that she is furious with the way things are going. This wasn’t her Disney vision for EAW, and there was nothing magical with anything that was going on right now. Even worse, right now she felt like anything but a Princess, which was the worst feeling of all. That mood isn’t improved when Kyra Phillips catches up with her, looking for a comment.)
Kyra Phillips: Candice, could I please trouble you for a few words?
(Candice looks at her, and then at the mic and reacts in the only way she is capable right now.)
Princess Candice: ARRRRGGGHHHHHHH!!!
(The scream is piercing, and almost everyone in the vicinity turns around to see what is going on. Kyra holds her ears, the noise almost too much to bear and only brings them down when Candice eventually stops.)
Princess Candice: OK Kyra… I’ll give you a few words.
(Kyra pulls a face, she wasn’t sure she wanted this interview anymore. She preferred the bird song and glitter that was for sure. But she had committed to it now and was happy for Candice to take the lead.)
Princess Candice: I am a Disney princess, and therefore I do my very best to always been happy and see the best in people. My job, and yes, it is a job, is to spread Disney magic all over Elite Answers Wrestling and turn it into the place that we all deserve. The crowd begins to give a negative reception to The Devolution who stands on top of the ramp, not really giving a damn about the reception. Serenity Valdez is laughing and mocking the crowd. Jon Kelton raises the National Elite Championship high in the air.)

Deadprez: Now, that was disgusting, but it was also legal! I didn’t like it one bit, but this team has been known to go the unpopular route and it’s worked with them! As much as she would have loved to pick up a victory in her home country in War Games, it was Team Dynasty that managed to prevail. Tonight, she is an enemy when it comes to The Devolution, who have made this their entire show!
Eve: That Cash in the Vault briefcase allows Sheridan Müller to control her own destiny by choosing the World Champion that she wants to cash in on at anyplace, anytime. And, with her partner as the Answers World Champion, she hasn’t felt any sort of temptation to cash it in on him.
(‘Be Legendary’ by Pop Evil plays as the crowd erupts when Adam Lucas walks out with the Answers World Championship around his waist. He stands next to Sheridan Müller in solitary as they strategize their approach in this match up.)
Gina Romano: INTRODUCING HER PARTNER…FROM NEW YORK, NEW YORK…WEIGHING IN 231 POUNDS…HE IS THE ANSWERS WORLD CHAMPION… ‘THE NEXT LEVEL’… ADAM LUCAS!!!!!!
Deadprez: Now, Adam Lucas must feel bummed that he couldn’t get the job done at Territorial Invasion, but he made it clear that him, Sheridan and Chef Viz didn’t fail. But, Adam took the blame for all of it.
Gavin Kirkland: It’s noble for our Answers World Champion. He may think that he failed as a CAPTAIN. As wrestlers, I thought Viz, Sheridan and Adam were the best representation for the brand. I couldn’t have selected a better group of Elitists to take Showdown into war. It was the best that we have looked in years.
Eve: Well, I suppose, we have no other choice, but to move on from Territorial Invasion as we set our sights to ‘The Last Stand,’ but for now, let’s focus on this match!

Gavin Kirkland: Sheridan Müller launches towards Serenity Valdez and —
Eve: Serenity Valdez slides out of the ring! It seems like she doesn’t want this match to get going…yet. She finds herself pacing back-and-forth, trying to get a feel to herself. It looks like she doesn’t want to dive in entirely into the match.
(We see Pandora Paisley massaging the shoulders of the Empress of Elite as Halsey Neels pats Serenity Valdez in the back as Serenity feels a wave of motivation to get back inside the ring.)
Deadprez: Sheridan Müller launches right back at Serenity Valdez, but Serenity ducks her head through the ropes and out of the ring. She’s demanding for the referee to back Sheridan away from her. Meanwhile, you can see that Sheridan is getting a bit annoyed. She’s never been the one for theatrics or all of that extra jazz — even going back into the Vixens division days. Always been a serious woman, focused on her craft. Instead, she does what the referee says. The sooner that she obliges to Serenity’s crazy demands, the sooner this match can begin.
Gavin Kirkland: The Empress of Elite doesn’t wrestle in the commoners’ terms. The Devolution runs the yard and they wrestle on their own time, DP! You see? Serenity sticks her head back inside the ring as Sheridan Müller has her arms up in a boxing-like stance as she’s more than ready to lock up with Serenity Valdez! Sheridan extends her arm out, looking to reach for Serenity, but Serenity dodges the move as she goes back! Serenity seems to relax a bit as Sheridan goes for a giant knee to the gut of the Empress of Elite as she finds herself in a forward bent position! Sheridan continues on with connecting with a couple of punches to the spine of Serenity, who is trying to get herself out of the way! But, Sheridan manages to grab Sheridan by the back of her neck and throw her into one of the corners!
Eve: Sheridan Müller begins to unload on a boxing combination on the chest and ribs of the former Specialists Champion! You can see that Serenity Valdez is trying to block herself from these vicious hits, but Sheridan is nailing her with each one! Sheridan follows that up with a knife edge chop to Serenity’s chest, which takes her off guard! She grabs Serenity by her arm and looks to whip her to the other corner! BUT, SERENITY COUNTERS THE WHIP, SENDING SHERIDAN TO THE CORNER! SERENITY RUNS TOWARDS SHERIDAN, BUT SHERIDAN CONNECTS WITH AN ELBOW BLOCK AS SHE SENDS SERENITY BACK! SHERIDAN CHARGES FORWARD, LOOKING TO TAKE SERENITY DOWN WITH A CLOTHESLINE! NOW, WE SEE SHERIDAN UNLOADING ON A SERIES OF STRIKES TO THE FACE AS SERENITY IS DEMANDING FOR THE REFEREE TO GET HER OFF OF HER!

Gavin Kirkland: You can see how calm Jon Kelton is as he backs away from the corner! BUT, LOOK AT SERENITY VALDEZ WHO MANAGES TO DELIVER A CHEAP SHOT TO THE FACE BEFORE BACKING AWAY FROM HER CORNER! Adam Lucas is at the opposite corner, trying to point out to the referee what Serenity Valdez just did, but the referee is focused on making sure that Adam stays at his corner! Eve: Adam Lucas would love nothing more than to get that hot tag into the match! Now, while Adam and Sheridan have proven to be an effective team. The Devolution is an actual tag team. I mean, they defeated two other tag teams at Territorial Invasion! If that’s not a way to proclaim yourself as the top tag team, I’m not sure what is!
Deadprez: Other than calling yourself as the tag team champions, I’m not sure what is. POTARA is on another level.
Gavin Kirkland: Details, details. The Devolution is on a roll at the moment, coming off winning 2/3 of their matches at Territorial Invasion. Now, Jon Kelton continues to have the headlock applied, but you can tell that Sheridan is trying to counter with a headlock of her own! Eve: Sheridan Müller manages to get her to her knees as Jon Kelton still has the waist lock applied to Sheridan! He slowly transitions all of that to a front headlock! And, look at this! He takes a few steps back before running towards Sheridan with an ‘Ether!’ The running guillotine choke is applied to Sheridan! Before Sheridan could enter the ring, Jon Kelton runs towards her, looking to knock her off the apron with a forearm, but Sheridan ducks it and connects with a shoulder thrust through the second rope and to the gut of ‘The Devil of The Devolution’ as she finds her way back inside the ring! She goes right after Jon, who manages to duck any attempt for her clothesline to connect! Gavin Kirkland: Now, that’s how The Devolution rolls, ladies and gentlemen! Like them or hate them, but we can’t deny that their tactics are effective!
Eve: They hate to thank Scott Diamond for taking Adam Lucas out of the equation, leaving Sheridan Müller to fend for herself! She did what she could in the situation, but when it’s 4-on-1 basically, how can anyone beat those odds?

Deadprez: The Devolution has a victory over the Answers World Champion and Ms. Cash in the Vault! That is a pretty big deal! That is how you built credibility. Yes, it wasn’t in the most idealistic way that anyone would have liked, but it worked! Now, props to Sheridan Müller for holding down the fort! She did well in this match, especially in the last moments of the match, but she just became a victim of the number’s game!
(The camera pans to medical staff who begin to tend to Adam Lucas, who is going in and out of consciousness. One of the staff members gets one of those mini flashlights to check on the movement in Adam’s eyes. Then, it pans to Chef Viz backstage. His arms folded across his chest as he watched the entire thing go down. He shakes his head and quietly chuckles to himself at the misfortune of Sheridan and Adam. The last commercial break of the night is taken.)
(Showdown faded back from commercials and it was time for the last segment to close the show, after what ended up happening at Territorial Invasion, after the one thing that happened at Brand Warfare, after one knee could just simply break years of friendship in just a few seconds. No music was hit at all, the person who was coming out thought there was no need for any of the usual wrestling theatrics, she just wanted to have a talk and fix things. ARIA walked out without any music and towards the entrance ramp, of course, the crowd received her with loud and welcoming cheers, in her full support but what ARIA focused on was a few uncommon people actually not cheering or even worse, booing her, it was a very small portion of the crowd but ARIA still focused on those people despite the cheers, she understood why though, she knew she couldn’t take back what happened and it broke her heart. She was wearing a simple black hoodie and pants, and her expression, usually either filled with hope and determination, was just full of dread, worry and sadness all combined. She began walking down the ramp.)
Gavin Kirkland: I don’t understand, why did things have to end up going like this? :saddrake:
Deadprez: Gavin, the world is cruel sometimes and even though everyone thinks they have a plan, it all falls apart when they end up getting punched in the face, or in this case, getting kneed on the face. But damn it, I am pissed off too, in the logical and emotional side, imagine what could have happened if Usagi didn’t leave the match, imagine if that knee didn’t happen, maybe Showdown could have come out with the win, and in the emotional side, seeing two people be together for so many years breaking up apart like that? It hurts.
Eve: Even though here in EAW we are still used to seeing things like this, seeing friendship blossom and then end with a knife through someone’s back, even though this kind of tale has happened many times, it even happened again on the same event, it hurts even more seeing the Ice Aces go through something like this, after all of the trials and tribulations they have endured over the years, all of the losses, hardships, and setbacks, they still remained together and strong, but after Ayu was split from them in the draft, the tough losses at Midsummer Massacre, the inability for the Usagi and ARIA to be able to sync in tag team matches, everything just ended up breaking down. And it didn’t even end up with one person brutally attacking the other one, one knee just happened…and then one of them ended up leaving without looking back. Some things don’t last sometimes.
Gavin Kirkland: No, no, no, don’t tell me that Eve, it is on their catchphrase, the Ice Aces are Forever Alive, no??? PLEASE ARIA, FIX THIS, I DON’T WANT TO SEE MY BEAUTIFUL ICE ACES END! :mjcry:
(ARIA reached the steel steps and tried her best to just hold in her feelings before getting into the ring, tried her best to focus on the plan that she had. Heck, who could she even lie to? She had no plan at all, it was the first time in a while she said that to herself. She just needed to let her heart speak. She climbed up the steps, entered inside and then she got out a microphone from the pocket of the hoodie as the crowd slowly calmed down and kept quiet as Aria raised the microphone to her mouth. It took her a few seconds to try and get something out but finally, she spoke up.)
ARIA: Usagi… just… please come out.
(Once ARIA had said this, the silence would continue to grow loudly. People were waiting, but they were very impatient. ARIA was waiting in the middle of the ring, but she too was very impatient. They all wanted them to make up, they all wanted them to come face to face and settle the differences that they have had in the last couple of weeks. The weeks of torment that they have both been through, the signs of miscommunication, Usagi finally having enough of it all after a terrible start to her season, ARIA wanted to make things right… Usagi just wasn’t coming out.)
ARIA: Please… please come out… I know you are angry at what happened earlier and at Territorial Invasion… please come out…..
Gavin Kirkland: Guys, I don’t think she is coming out.
Deadprez: Shut up dawg. Clearly she isn’t.
Eve: Well, Usagi has been running high on emotions since the very start of this season. It hit its boiling point at Territorial Invasion. I’m sure the last thing that she would want is to even look ARIA into her eyes, let alone speak to her.
(ARIA just continued to wait. She wasn’t going to let this go. She wasn’t going to let this show end without them finally making up.)
ARIA: I’m not leaving… not until…
Eve: Wait, guys… look! In the crowd!
(Suddenly, the fans would start to boo, but there were some sympathizing cheers, as Usagi Senshi, just coming off of her match earlier in the night against Ashlynn Quinn, would begin to make her way through the crowd. She was clearly not in the mood, and why would she be? Weeks of frustration had finally come ahead, and now she is being forced to probably explain her actions, and make up with someone who hurt her.)
Gavin Kirkland: THERE SHE IS! YES! LET’S HOPE FOR THE GOOD ENDING GUYS!
Deadprez: Gavin-
Gavin Kirkland: 🧎✨🙏ICE ACES GET ALONG PRAYER CIRCLE🙏✨🧎
Eve: Well, as overdramatic as you are being Gavin, I am hoping for the same thing.
(Usagi would make her way through the timekeeper’s area, making sure that she picked up a microphone, as she would then make it into the ringside area. Usagi and ARIA locked eyes, the silence was very loud, but the eye contact told a whole bunch of stories in one. Usagi would throw the hood of her jacket over her head, wearing street clothes as she would then roll into the ring. She backs up into one of the corners, just looking at ARIA, not saying a single thing.)
Deadprez: Welp…
Eve: Time to see if things will be worked out…
Gavin Kirkland: Or if we’re seeing the end of The Ice Aces as we know it. :mjcry:
(ARIA has never felt this nervous before in her life, it was the first time she ever felt this kind of experience in her life, she had to hold her guard up for a friend, she had to be cautious about what she said around a friend. But she knew she needed to go through with this, she needed to fix this one way or another. It was now or never. Aria stood over in her own corner not breaking eye contact with Usagi as she spoke up.)
ARIA: An apology won’t work out for you at all, right?
(Usagi laid against the corner in complete silence and with an unmoving expression as that basically confirmed to ARIA just a simple apology won’t do much.)
ARIA: Yeah I…had a feeling there. I was hoping to just apologize profusely but it is better I do more than that. Let me take back everybody then to the past, around the years of 2018 through 2020, a few years in on my wrestling career in Japan, by that point I didn’t completely lose any hope just yet, even though I was starting to reach around 50 losses or even more, I was still brightful, I was still hopeful, I was still hoping for a miracle to happen, and in a way, it kind of ended up appearing right in front of me without me even looking for it. It was the first time I ever met you, Usagi. I heard various things about you up to that point of how you were such a respected and incredible individual who never faltered against adversity and racked up many championships by that point. It was the first match I ever had against you, my stomach was full of butterflies, the cold sweet that I had from that nervousness couldn’t stop but before we went out there, you calmed me down and supported me telling me that everything would be fine and I would do well, you told me exactly that “Either way, win or lose, you will still be alive after the match ends.” And what you said to me ended up giving me the inspiration to make and say the words I live by today.
(The crowd cheered in surprise as ARIA ended up revealing that kind of information to everybody but Usagi’s expression didn’t move a single inch. Her expression remained completely neutral and ARIA knew she needed to continue talking.)
ARIA: I still ended up losing the match against you and I suffered another cold loss but after that match, I didn’t come off with just one loss, I ended up coming off it feeling hopeful, hopeful for the future, because after that match and what you said to me make me look up to you, we had a lot more matches after that and even though I continued to lose to you, with every match, it just made me work harder and lit a fire under me like never before, I respected you with all of my heart, I respected the never give up attitude that you had and how you didn’t lay down for anybody who tried to bring you down, your hard work gave me the motivation to work and try even harder than before, I wanted to reach to the point you were and make you proud, show you that the scared and nervous girl you first met could succeed. It didn’t pan out at all in Japan…but it ended up happening here and I was able to make that promise come true. And when we met up again here in the United States and you told me you actually wanted to be my friend, it shocked me down to the core but it made me so incredibly happy as well to hear that from you and I accepted…and then the rest is history.
ARIA: You inspired me and helped me up at Japan and gave me those glimpses of hope I needed to keep going, and due to your actions, due to that kindness you showed me I ended up giving back, I ended up doing whatever I could to give you those glimpses of hope as well here in EAW, I backed you up in every step of the way, I supported you through the ups and downs, I did everything I could to make sure I saw that smile in your and Ayu’s face, I wanted to see you two succeed here just like I did because I care about the two of you, I care about my friends, I care about the people I love with all of my heart and soul, you have known me for several years Usagi, you know what kind of person I am and what I have always shown to be so why would I end up doing what I did at Territorial Invasion on purpose? Do you truly think I would knee someone I consider my best friend on the face on purpose after all of the years we spent together? It was just a stupid accident again that I wasn’t able to hold back, and I ended up saying the worst possible answer I could on the heat of the moment, and I truly regret that, I regret that with all of my soul, but I would never do that kind of thing on purpose to someone who has done so much for me, who has lifted me up and inspired me, who I consider one of my first true friends after everything that has happened in my life so please, Usagi, I just want you-
(Usagi suddenly grabs something out of her pocket, and throws it to the center of the ring. It was a picture, one that was seen in one of Usagi’s promotional videos this week; that was of her and ARIA. It was a picture from the night that they had truly become best friends, now on the mat, in between the two, as ARIA just looked down at it. Usagi kept her eyes on ARIA.)
ARIA: …
Usagi Senshi: Sob story over. No pity points given. My turn.
Gavin Kirkland: Oh no…

Eve: Well, here we go…
(Usagi would pull her hood back down, showing her face to the world. She takes a couple of seconds, pulling herself out of her corner as she would now lean up against the ropes, still staring daggers right through ARIA. She would then begin to lift up the microphone to her lips, ready to speak to the world, but the world didn’t seem ready for her to speak to them.)
Usagi Senshi: November 25th, 2021. The very first night that I could truly consider you as one of my best friends. We knew each other for a long time, ARIA, you got that right, and I promise you, I haven’t forgotten a single thing. The last thing I would do is forget all of the hell that you had been through when you were back in Japan. So, after all of this time, Ayumu had made it to EAW, and then, you had just recently made it to EAW. And finally, after months of fighting, through injuries and all, I was finally able to make it to EAW as well, and in my first match, I might have lost, but it was the second one that I will always remember. We were teaming up within a trios match for my debut onto the Showdown brand… and we ran into each other. We walked around that day, we talked a lot about our match, and we just bonded in a way that I thought I would have never had with someone that wasn’t my beloved girlfriend, but it was you who gave me that sense of hope. It was you who gave me a meaning of trust once more, in more than just the love of my life who has been around me for just about my whole entire life. There are a lot of things that could have happened that day, but instead, we went down a path that sparked a friendship that I will never forget. And for that, ARIA, I thank you.
Eve: Awwwee….
Gavin Kirkland: Maybe they will be okay after all-
Usagi Senshi: Until you ruined it.
(The crowd begins to boo loudly from this, ARIA just looked heartbroken the very moment that she heard those words come right out of Usagi’s mouth.)
Deadprez: Gavin, maybe you should just keep your mouth shut next time.

(Usagi would then continue.)
Usagi Senshi: Everything was going just fine, ARIA; and you can admit that too. We were having some downs, but our friendship would power through it all. I had to deal with Pandora Paisley and her then tag team partner within Serotonin when they tried to put me out on the shelf, and throughout that whole entire time, you showed your concern, you should that you cared about me, that you were going to support me. Everything was going fine. Everything was going perfectly. I finally had a friend that I could count on, a friend that I could trust, a friend that would love me like I was a sister.
Usagi Senshi: And then, I was foolish enough to let you join The Ice Aces.
ARIA: Usagi…
Usagi Senshi: Worst decision I could have ever made.
ARIA: …
Usagi Senshi: I trusted you enough to give you an offer to join myself and Ayumu within the group that I had so much care for, a group that I loved, The Ice Aces was something that meant the world to me. It was more than just a wrestling partnership, it was a bond between family, and that was what made me feel complete. The moment that I had offered you to join The Ice Aces, and you accepted it… things started to go downhill. Because The Ice Aces was supposed to be about a pact. That if you were to succeed, The Ice Aces were to succeed. If I was to succeed, or Ayumu was to succeed, we would all be succeeding. But, it never felt like that. The moment that you had become an addition to The Ice Aces, everything took a turn for the worst. And I wish that wasn’t the case, ARIA. Truly. I wish that it didn’t have to turn out this way. But look at everything that happened last year. Look at how you cared for your own aspirations at Territorial Invasion last year when you threw the match out for us so you could get TLA his job back. Look at Wicked Games, when I was going through hell, a mental trauma I would never forget, you were too focused on climbing up the ladder and winning your way into the Elimination Chamber match for the Specialist Championship at Road To Redemption. When I was dealing with constant abuse allegations and being painted as this villain of Voltage, you were winning the Specialist Championship and you were moving on with your career. When me and Ayumu were having a bad time trying to get on the same page, to the point Ayu had to distance herself away from me?
Usagi Senshi: All eyes were still on ARIA. The moment that I offered you to join The Ice Aces, that wasn’t just a group; but a family… it wasn’t us as a collective unit. It was ARIA featuring The Ice Aces. it was ARIA, the sole Ice Ace. it was ARIA, and her two shadows following behind her. And for some time, I tried my hardest to defend you. I tried my hardest to put any of that down and mention how that was anything but the truth… I lied through my teeth because of you, ARIA. I made you out to be the perfect Elitist, someone who could never do wrong. I blinded myself for you, and now… I can’t take it anymore.
Usagi Senshi: As far as I’m concerned… The Ice Aces were done – or at least put on hold – when me and Ayu were separated within the draft. From that point onward, it was now ARIA… featuring the mental breakdown of Usagi Senshi.
(The crowd was completely in silence after hearing that response from Usagi, they didn’t know exactly how to react, as well as the commentary team being completely speechless while Gavin held his head on his hands knowing full well it was over. ARIA though, even if she was looking down at the ground in silence as well and not having any words to say herself, she glanced at the picture Usagi threw at the ground and she quickly started opening up her own hoodie, she reached down her hand on the inside pocket of the hoodie and she pulled out another picture. She calmly placed it on the mat as well and the camera focused on it to show it was a picture of ARIA, Usagi and Ayu in a very special place for ARIA. ARIA took another moment to gather her words before speaking up.)
ARIA: Do you remember that picture we took, Usagi? I have only mentioned this kind of thing once in all of my videos but I have no problem mentioning it now, the place where we took that picture? It is a very special place for me, on top of a hill that gives me a view of a beautiful field of flowers, I come over there whenever I feel like the world is pushing me against the wall, whenever I feel like I don’t have any answer at all or I don’t know what to do, I have never let anybody else I know in this kind of place, not even my own uncle…except Alex, Ayu and you. Because I trusted you all enough to let you in on who I was as a person, to let you in on that kind of place I held so dear to my heart because you were the people I loved with all of my heart and soul, you were the people who I truly considered a part of my life, you were all like family to me. And all over at the start of the Season, after Midsummer Massacre happened, after having that talk with Kennedy, after hearing that message that Pandora gave me, I was starting to lose hope, but then I ended up seeing that picture of the three of us and it gave me the hope and determination I needed back, that is what gave me the fire to keep fighting and to keep going, because I wanted to do it for myself and for you, for Alex, for Ayu, for every last one of you who believed in me in the first place.
ARIA: Everything that I wanted to do and I did, I promise I wasn’t out of malice Usagi, I simply wanted to do what was right, I discovered the truth about what Eden did and so I ended up letting it out to get TLA’s job back that he lost unfairly, at Wicked Games we came in with the mentality of the best woman would win and there would be no hard feelings, and I did not know what Candice ended up doing either in the match, I could only see the ladder all freed up and so I let the competitor on me go for it and take it, I defended you as well on every way I could whenever someone tried to paint you as a villain, whenever they tried to bring you down and give you crap, I always had your back when someone tried to say something you were not and as for what happened with you and Ayumu… Dang it, I just simply trusted you and Ayumu! I simply trusted on the two of you being able to fix what happened, being able to get over the failures and setbacks that you suffered and be able to start teaming again, being able to succeed like I knew the two of you could, I always believed in you no matter how bad the loss was or how deep the hole was we all ended up falling in. I never stopped believing in the Ice Aces at all.
ARIA: I hated that people treated the group as ARIA and the Ice Aces, I hated that they treated you and Ayu as just both my shadows following me around, I hated with every fiber of my being seeing my friends treated like that in such a way, the friends that I let into my life and let me see for the person I really was, it is such a hard thing to make the world change opinion, you won’t be able to turn a tide that big so easily but I still tried, I still tried with all of my being to support you, to support Ayu, to support the Ice Aces, not once did I ever falter in those thoughts, not once did I ever push myself above either you two and tried to put myself on a pedestal, not once did I ever say in my whole life I was the better Ice Ace, because every Ice Ace was unique on their own way and it made everyone the best of the group, because all of us are the best together. I never lied when I said those words. But if you truly thought of me that way Usagi, if you truly thought that is how it went, you didn’t need to lie, you didn’t need to treat me as a perfect Elitist, you didn’t need to act like I couldn’t do anything wrong, I didn’t need someone like that, I just… wanted you to be my best friend.
(The crowd then slowly came alive once again and the crowd cheered after hearing those words from ARIA, and Gavin was seemingly regaining color once again seeing there was some hope everything could be fixed.)
ARIA: …I will never throw away a friendship I hold so dear like that. I will do whatever it takes to keep that intact. I’ll even leave the Ice Aces if I have to, I will lose that spot, I will leave that part of me behind, I will make it just as it used to be because above else…I don’t want to lose my friend.
(The crowd were left in disbelief. Speechless with what ARIA was offering. Eve, Gavin, and Deadprez couldn’t believe what was happening. Usagi took a look down at the pictures, and she looked back up at ARIA, hearing the offer.)
Usagi Senshi: ARIA…
…
Usagi Senshi: I already decided on that a long time ago.
(ARIA’s jaw just drops, she feels as if all hope has now been lost.)
Usagi Senshi: I’m sick of this. I’m sick of all of this. I can’t take it anymore. I can’t take YOU anymore. All this talk about trust, all this talk about our bond, but you were the one who broke my trust. You can apologise a million times over, but it doesn’t change the fact that you never learned from your mistakes, you never stopped doing what you did, and because of that, there are matches we lost, there were rifts being stabbed in between us. As a friend outside of this professional wrestling, I still love you; I always have, and I always will. I will always care about you. But, throughout all of those missed calls, all of those unread text messages, you weren’t the only one blowing up my phone. My own sister was blowing up my phone. My own girlfriend was blowing up my phone. But… there was one person who, when they called me, I picked up almost immediately. I didn’t give them a chance to blow up my phone, and the talk we had? It was very reassuring, that I did the right thing at Territorial Invasion, that it was time for me to move on, and now, moving on I will be able to do.
(ARIA just looked confused, and yet also conflicted.)
ARIA: Usagi, what did I tell you… don’t listen to Kennedy–
Usagi Senshi: It wasn’t her.
(ARIA didn’t even know what she was supposed to say anymore.)
Gavin Kirkland: Huh?! Okay, I’m confused, and concerned. What is going on?!
ARIA: W-who…
Usagi Senshi: You will always be someone who I can consider a friend, ARIA; even if you’re a no good fuckup and a mistake of a tag team partner inside of a professional wrestling ring. With that being said, there is something that I learned from you. You can make friends in this business. It is very easy to align yourself become buddy buddy with people in the back, and after so long of keeping myself away from doing that because my heart and my trust had belonged to two people, now that I am broken, now that my own trust was broken by someone who was supposed to protect me, I decided that I would finally get out of that bubble, so I decided to make some new friends, some new friends who I felt like would have been great if I buried the hatchet with, and in the process of doing, gaining some new allies that I have needed for far too long, and ones that won’t just screw me over.
Usagi Senshi: I’m taking over now.
ARIA: H-Huh? Usagi, what do you me-
(And then, in a blink of an eye, it all happened so fast that ARIA couldn’t even process it. How everything just fell down right in front of her eyes as “Master of Puppets” starts to play to the shock of ARIA and to the crowd in Turkey. Suddenly she turns and sees Serenity Valdez, Jon Kelton, Halsey Neel and Pandora Paisley walk out as Usagi leans against the ropes.)
Deadprez: YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME! DEVOLUTION AND USAGI SENSHI AND AFTER WHAT HAPPENED IN THE FIRST MATCH ON SHOWDOWN, MAYBE THEY GOT TO HER!
Eve: USAGI SENSHI IS A WOMAN THAT HAS GROWN BITTER IN RECENT MONTHS AND THIS IS THE ULTIMATE SLAP OF THE FACE!
Gavin Kirkland: I LOVE USAGI EVEN MORE NOW!!!
(Devolution doesn;t get in the ring, instead all four members surround the ring. ARIA is on her guard, she looks around and then back at Usagi who shrugs her shoulders and sits at the top of the turnbuckle when suddenly…..)
Deadprez: WAIT! HERE COMES IDOL-GUN! HIKARI KANNO AND MIKU SAKAI SUDDENLY RUN DOWN TO THE RING AND SLIDE IN! USAGI ROLLS OUT AS THEY STILL HAVE THE NUMBERS, FIVE ON THREE BUT ARIA SUDDENLY FINDS HERSELF ALIGNED WITH IDOL-GUN!
Eve: IT DOESN’T MATTER PREZ! IT DOESN’T MATTER BECAUSE THEY ARE OUTNUMBERED AND DEVOLUTION IS SLOWLY HOPPING ON THE APRON! THEY….
(“Seven Rings by Arianna Grande blasts through the arena as the crowd erupts. Veena Adams suddenly comes out with Ashlyn Quinn and…..)
Deadprez: VEENA ADAMS AND ASHLYNN QUINN CHARGE THE RING! DEVOLUTION NOW DROP FROM THE APRON AND BACK OFF AS VEENA AND ASHLYNN NOW STAND SIDE BY SIDE WITH IDOL-GUNN AND ARIA! WHAT A MAKESHIFT ALLIANCE AND NONE OF THESE WOMEN LIKE EACH OTHER BUT DEVOLUTION HAS BROUGHT THEM TOGETHER!
Eve: THEY HAVE AND LOOK AT THE STARE DOWN! DARE I SAY…. THEY ARE MAKING THEIR LAST STAND!?!?!
Deadprez: WE ARE OUT OF TIME! GOODNIGHT EVERYONE!
Gavin Kirkland: I LOVE IT!!!!
(The staredown continues as Pandora grabs Usagi from behind and whispers something in her ear as Usagi nods. Devolution backs up but they still start to scream at the ring, as the five strong stand united.)
