(Showdown opens up with a recap of last week’s episode. It starts off with Scott Diamond coming out to try and explain himself which he actually doesn’t, because he is Scott Diamond, he does whatever he wants, but Sheridan comes out and doesn’t waste anytime at all rushing at each other and breaking out into a brawl, Sheridan is able to stand tall and Scott leaves not wanting to fight anymore, but Sheridan wasn’t going to let him leave that easily as she ended up challenging him to a match at Midsummer Massacre and Scott accepted. The Off-Brand Amphetamines defeat Johnny Heat and Mattias Burke. Kennedy Street has a talk with Usagi Senshi, explaining to her the reason why Ayu was split away in the draft with the Ice Aces so she could go and give Usagi the chance to show how much of a star she could, and she also tells her to pay the fine, and before Usagi leaves, she bumps into Pandora momentarily before Pandora leaves, with Kennedy telling Usagi she needs to do something about her situation. Caroline defeats Kasai. Madison comes to Kennedy’s office to complain to her, and Veena enters to complain too, before she gives the solution to let Madison and Veena fight it out at Midsummer Massacre and show who is the Alpha Female between the two. ARIA has an interview with Kyra where she wants to keep pursuing championship gold and coincidentally, Jon Kelton and the rest of Devolution comes around to hear her out, as they two quickly agree to a match at Midsummer Massacre. Devolution wins against Candice and Ashlynn as Ashlynn leaves Candice and the match. Kassidy Heart comes out for a moment to attack Miku and send a message. Daryl Kinkade beats Serenity Valdez by DQ after Adam Lucas attacks him. After the match, Hikari Kanno comes out to challenge Serenity Valdez as well for a match at Midsummer Massacre. Chef Viz defeats Halsey Neel, and after their match, the lights start flickering and smoke starts to rise as Caroline appears from her shadows to double down on the message she said last week, as she would start her path of chaos by targeting Halsey Neel and Delilah Rose too. Delilah comes out, enraged at this and tries to rush the ring to attack her but she disappears between the smoke. And in the main event between Adam Lucas and Sheridan Muller, it sadly ends in a draw as Scott Diamond and Daryl Kinkade use the surprise advantage to beat down their respective Midsummer Massacre opponents.)
(The recap ends, and it is replaced with the song “Brick Wall” by a Day to Remember, as the camera pans around the inside of the Cross Insurance Arena in Portland, Maine. Blue fireworks are shooting out of the stage and a very excited crowd can be shown on their feet. The camera ends up panning over to the commentary table with Deadprez, Eve and Gavin Kirkland as the commentators.)
Eve: Welcome everybody…TO SATURDAY NIGHT SHOWDOWN!!!
Gavin Kirkland: Another exciting night tonight with the deepest roster of women that EAW currently has, oh man, I can’t wait!
Deadprez: We just started right now dude, calm down. But yeah, as always, we have an exciting night of wrestling for all of you and various matches that you won’t want to miss.
Gavin Kirkland: WRESTLING WOOOOOO! Right, we got Lucas Johnson versus Mattias Burke, Kasai versus Delilah Rose and Serenity Valdez against Halsey Neel!
Eve: We also have a battle between old rivals, Veena Adams against Candice Blair! Hikari Kanno facing off against ARIA and finally in the main event, the National Elite Champion Jon Kelton fighting against Scott Diamond!
Gavin Kirkland: Let’s kick the show right off then! :blessed:
Deadprez: As always, Showdown promises to deliver like no other brand. It’s a pleasure to…
(Deadprez is interrupted as ‘Be Legendary’ by Pop Evil hits over the speaker system, the already pumped-up crowd stepping up another notch.)
Deadprez: What a way to open the show!
Eve: The Answers World Champion is apparently coming out here, and these fans are loving it!
Gavin Kirkland: I’ve not heard a reaction like this since I walked into my local Walmart and the shoppers were stoked to be in the presence of such a high-profile celebrity.
Deadprez: I bet they were all thrilled!
Eve: I bet no one even recognized him.
(Adam Lucas appears at the top of the stage and pauses for only a moment to recognize the ovation he is getting. With a simple nod, he then makes his way down the ramp, all business.)
Deadprez: Adam not hanging around, and obviously has something to say. And I think we all know who it will be about. Daryl Kinkade.
Eve: Kinkade has been a royal pain in Adam’s side over the course of the last couple of weeks and has gotten the drop on him no less than three times now.
Deadprez: That has to be the reason why he doesn’t look happy. And it has to be noted, he doesn’t have the World Championship belt with him.
Eve: I didn’t see that. Good call. Must be a reason for that.
(Adam reaches the ring, and rolls under the bottom rope before jumping up to his feet. He then walks over to the other side and claims a microphone from one of the staff. Finally, he holds up his hand, calling for his music to end, but the fans still engage in their Adam Lucas chant, which at least brings a glimmer of a smile to his face. He lifts the mic and starts to speak anyway.)
Adam Lucas: Thank you, you’re too kind.
(This brings another roar from the crowd, but this time they do hush, allowing Adam to speak.)
Adam Lucas: Winning the Answers World Championship means everything to me; I think I’ve made that clear. I’m sure the more observant amongst you will have noticed, I am not out here with the belt. The reason for that is I don’t stand here before you as the Answers World Champion. I stand here as simply Adam Lucas, a man who is pissed about what happened last week, and in fact since this season started.
Deadprez: Thanks almost solely to Daryl Kinkade.
Adam Lucas: Now don’t get me wrong, I get it. Kinkade needs to play these games, because without them, who is he? Circus clown? Court Jester? Names that describe him far better than what he should be known as. Elitist. See, everything that has led to this point, the draft which should have been my moment. Opening night on Showdown. My match with Sheridan last week that was every bit the classic that we predicted. Kinkade has gone out of his way to ruin it. The disrespect he has shown me, apparently has no bounds, and why? Because he wasn’t the Championship for himself. Take last week, where Sheridan and I were showing ourselves to be two of the very best on Showdown, Kinkade couldn’t have that could he? Scott Diamond couldn’t have that. It all went downhill the minute the two of them got involved, and it’s all because of jealousy. I have the title; Sheridan has the briefcase and Scott and Daryl have NOTHING. But they don’t care because they are selfish. They don’t care because they don’t care about the chaos they cause. They wouldn’t ever come out here and admit that they were pissed at themselves like I am, allowing my temper to get the better of me and costing Serenity her match. That’s the difference guys, I hold myself accountable for all my actions. And Daryl Kinkade is taking advantage of that. I don’t react, because I know that Midsummer Massacre is just around the corner, and right there in that moment, Daryl Kinkade will be held accountable for everything he has done to me this year. Just like Sheridan with Scott Diamond, they may have formed the sentence, but it is Sheridan and I that will apply the full stop. (‘Kamikaze’ by RedHook kicks in, boos raining down from every side of the arena as Adam turns to face the entranceway, his eyes narrowing. Before too long Daryl appears, microphone already in hand. His music fades, and immediately he lifts the mic and starts to speak.)
Daryl Kinkade: Aww, isn’t this cute, the ‘Champ’ trying to look like the big tough guy.
Adam Lucas: You really are craving my attention, aren’t you?
Daryl Kinkade: Nah, all I want from you is your title, which I see you don’t have on you. Scared I’m going to steal it after I drop you on your ass… again, mate?
Adam Lucas: Nah, just had to have it disinfected the last time you touched it. Smell lasted for days. Body Odor problem much?
Daryl Kinkade: That’s funny… no, seriously it is. You know what else is funny, watching your wife take care of business on Voltage like she did last week, once again proving that she wears the pants in your relationship. You got Kassidy taking every opportunity she can get to show just how ‘pussy-whipped’ you are. Fact is Adam, you’re a nice guy, I’m sure you kiss the babies and sign the autographs. I’m certain you’re a media dream for EAW, I won’t deny that. But you are too soft to be the Answers World Champion bruv, and ‘England’s Finest Export’, that’s me by the way, would be a much better choice. Thing is, I’m not saying anything to you that your ‘fans’ aren’t thinking for themselves. They just care about your little bitty feelings. I don’t.
(Daryl chuckles to himself, having got his little dig in. Adam just looks at him but doesn’t say a word.)
Deadprez: You’ve got to wonder what is going through Adam’s mind right now. He wants to do things the right way. He wants to be an honorable champion, but what if your opponent won’t allow that to happen.
(After a few moments, Adam lifts the mic again.)
Adam Lucas: Alright then Daryl, if that’s the way you feel. Why don’t you step into this ring and face me like a man?
(The crowd erupts again, but the smile never leaves Daryl’s face. After barely any hesitation, he starts to walk to the ring.)
Eve: Uh oh… think Daryl is calling Adam’s bluff
Gavin Kirkland: I think that is exactly what Adam wanted
(Daryl speaks as he walks.)
Daryl Kinkade: You know something Adam, it’s kinda pathetic that a grown ass man like yourself demeans himself in this way. I mean, I get it, Bethany is a strong woman no doubt, but doesn’t it make you feel so little?
(Adam just watches as he gets closer, backing off to give Daryl room to enter.)
Daryl Kinkade: I mean come on, can anyone see you knocking Kassidy’s head off with a brick? No. And that’s what a champion has to be Adam, willing to do anything to defend the belt.
(Kinkade walks up the steps and onto the apron, glancing at Adam for a second and smiling, before bending through the strands.)
Daryl Kinkade: I mean, look at you, giving me space, all respectful like…
(Daryl walks right up to Adam, the two having a stare down, only the microphone between them.)
Deadprez: Feel that tension guys… wow.
Daryl Kinkade: You ain’t a man bruv. Not enough of a man for Bethany, and sure as hell not man enough to be a World Champion.
(The crowd oohs.)
Adam Lucas: Is that right?
Daryl Kinkade: Is it Adam, and you know it. Oh, and one more thing…
(Kincade swings, trying to clock Adam with the microphone but Adam is ready, and blocks it, smashing his fist into Daryl’s jaw and sending him backwards, the place erupting.)
Deadprez: Adam has had enough, Adam is taking it Daryl Kinkade!!!
Eve: At last!!!
(Daryl tries to step forwards, but in doing so, steps straight into a kick in the gut by Adam, who then grabs Kinkade around the head, dropping him to the mat with a DDT. Adam pumps up the crowd, swinging his arms in the air and imploring Daryl to stand.)
Gavin Kirkland: Kinkade doesn’t know where he is, but he is getting to his feet!
(Adam waits under Daryl as he stands, and then runs towards him, clotheslining him over the top rope and to the outside.)
Deadprez: Devastating Clothesline from Adam Lucas, but he isn’t finished!
(Adam slides out the ring, and is immediately on top of Kinkade, driving his fists down into his face before he stands, looking around. He then sees a folded chair, and gets to his feet, fetching the chair and slamming it on the apron.)
Eve: Oh no… don’t do this Adam, this is a fine waiting for you if you do!
Gavin Kirkland: He doesn’t care… smash his head in Adam!
(Adam lifts the chair ready to strike, but security sprint down the ramp and get between him and Daryl, boos ringing out in the arena. Adam throws the chair to the ground, and moves his hair from out in front of his face to a massive ovation. Kinkade however is helped to his feet, and led away, as Adam Lucas slides back into the ring.)
Deadprez: Adam Lucas sending a message here tonight. He’s more than happy to show respect, but the minute you take that away, he can play you at you game. Kinkade might have to have a rethink after what happened here tonight!
Eve: He showed it with Impact. He showed it with Kassidy. And he showed it with Jake Smith. Adam Lucas MORE than has that edge, and you awaken it, you’re going to pay!
(Adam climbs a turnbuckle, and lifts a single arm in the air to a huge ovation. It is in that image that the scene cuts away to a commercial break.)
(As the commercial break ends, ‘Ready to Die’ by the Notorious B.I.G. plays as Lucas Johnson comes out of the titantron with his hands wrapped up. He walks down the ramp with his hoodie up as the crowd is booing the hell out of him. Lucas pays no mind, as he enters the ring, though.)
Gina Romano: THIS COMPETITION IS SCHEDULED FOR ONE FALL WITH A TWENTY MINUTE TIME LIMIT! INTRODUCING FIRST, THE WRESTLING MACHINE, LUCAS JOHNSON!
(‘We Won’t Back Down’ by Ra plays as Mattias Burke comes out to cheers from the audience. It replaces ‘Ready to Die’ as it fades out, as he walks down the entrance ramp with high fives. Some children are wearing his merchandise, as he signs their autographs.)
Gina Romano: AND HIS OPPONENT, THE NATURAL, MATTIAS BURKE!
Deadprez: Two impressive athletes, and we are about to see a great opening contest right here!
Eve: We sure are and it looks like the referee is ready to ring the bell and get this match started!
(The referee calls for the bell to start the match.)
(DING! DING! DING)
Gavin Kirkland: And we are off! Two Showdown talents competing, the rookie versus a Showdown veteran, both of them having very different styles! One of them is more agile, the other a martial artist! Mattias is circling the ring, trying to find an opening and using his speed, but Lucas knows what he’s doing! He’s seen this before, he’s been here before! Mattias pushes Lucas a bit, but Lucas shoves him back and Mattias is sent doing a back roll, but he stands again! It’s clear he still has a lot to show him, and this is going to be where he shines! Mattias tries to circle some more, but this is starting to be difficult!
Eve: Lucas is getting into an amateur wrestling stance, and Mattias goes for it! His inexperience is costing him here as Lucas easily grabs his back and takes him down! Now he sprawls and locks his head in, but Mattias easily slips through and puts Lucas down! Lucas gets up and he grabs Mattias’ arm, using his superior strength to put him in a wristlock! What a wrist lock by Lucas Johnson, as Mattias doesn’t know how to escape here! This might be the tone of this match going forward!
Deadprez: And Mattias is trying to calm down, as he drops down and puts Lucas down! He goes for a headscissors, but he pushes that off and Lucas is back up! Now they’re both back to a wrestling stance, and we might see Lucas really outshine him here! Mattias tries to go for a waistlock, but Lucas is quick and intelligent and puts him down again! But Mattias is making it a bit harder! He has one knee down and one foot planted, keeping his balance! He grabs Lucas’ arm and easily throws him, but Lucas rolls over!
Gavin Kirkland: What a save by Lucas Johnson, as he rolls back and takes Mattias down! Now he’s going for his legs, and trying to neutralize Mattias’ greatest tool! Lucas attempts to put him in an ankle lock, but it takes some time! He just kicks Mattias’ leg instead, and Mattias groans in pain! He’s one of Showdown’s top strikers, and this might be a place where he will really struggle in! Mattias is in pain as Lucas comes right back, grabbing his leg and successfully locking that ankle in! What a maneuver!
Eve: And Lucas is pushing that foot around, trying to make it even more uncomfortable, but his grip is getting a bit looser! Mattias rolls forward and manages to escape, but Lucas comes right back, grabs his waist and throws him over his head for a German Suplex! No! Mattias comes right back and he does a backflip, attempting one on Lucas who does the same!! What a show of agility from these two, and it’s clear that Lucas still has some mobility left in that tank of his! Both of them decide to lock up, but Lucas drops down and sends a European Uppercut into his jaw! Mattias is backed up!
Deadprez: Lucas rushes in for the big boot, as he’s aiming for his face, but Mattias gets out of the way! He traps his leg right on the damn turnbuckle, and Mattias takes advantage of this by hopping over the ropes and sending an Enzuigiri right into his face! Lucas backs up, and Mattias takes it to the skies! He’s in the air, and he does a falling crossbody, putting him down! Lucas is down but he shoves Mattias off, and the rookie is shocked! He tries to run at him, but Lucas easily kicks his legs out from under him, and it’s clear that the veteran is teaching the youngin a lesson!
Gavin Kirkland: You have to fight smart against a man like Lucas Johnson, and Mattias should know this! Mattias might’ve gotten a taste there, as he’s playing more defensive now! Lucas tries to send a few jabs, but Mattias slips them and sends an uppercut into Lucas’ face! What an elbow from Mattias as Lucas is down to a knee! He rebounds off the turnbuckle and tries to lay him out, but Lucas leans back! He picks him up, and sends him into the turnbuckle for a Dragon Suplex, but Mattias is too agile!
Eve: What a move from the young buck, as he lands on his butt on the top rope, sitting! Lucas turns around and he’s met with a dropkick! Mattias has the crowd on his back and he rebounds off the rope, going for a Senton Drop! Lucas is out and it’s clear Mattias wants to do some more! He rebounds off the ropes again, and Lucas this time is aware! Hip Toss! Mattias is down and Lucas has control of that arm!
Deadprez: Okay, let’s see if Mattias has a counter for some good ol’ submission grappling this time around! It’s looking like he does, as Mattias very easily rolls under and manages to pin Lucas down, but he kicks out before the count and Mattias hits him with a European Uppercut! Now he lifts him up, BELLY TO BACK SUPLEX! Lucas is holding his head and he’s starting to see the quickness of Mattias Burke! What natural athleticism from the young lad, who just turned 18 last month! Can you believe that? Grown man getting his ass kicked by an 18 year old, can’t be me.
Gavin Kirkland: Hey! Don’t say that! Lucas is my favourite wrestler in this company and he’s showing a lot of veteran tactics here! You weren’t talking when he was up, but when he down? Nah, you ain’t a real G like me. I been that. Lucas is clearly showing some signs of fight as he puts down Mattias, but he kips up and hits Lucas with a lariat! Now he’s down, and Mattias unloads heavy hands into his face, as he runs for the top rope! ELBOW DROP! Puts Lucas down, and now he’s going for the cover here!

Eve: No! Kickout at two! Lucas manages to stay in this fight despite Mattias giving it all he had to keep him down! Mattias gets up, and Lucas rolls out of harm’s way! He’s getting fired up, as he rebounds off the rope and sends a Meteora into Lucas’ face! But no! Lucas sends a thumbs up, trying to piss Mattias off even more! Another one! He picks up Lucas, wraps his leg around his neck and hits him with the PANIC SWITCH! THAT ONE JUST TOOK OUT LUCAS! Okay, he’s trying to go for the cover, but he switches into a submission! Triangle Choke!
Deadprez: Do you really wanna try to make Lucas Johnson of all people tap out? Probably not a smart move for your career here, as Lucas clearly has a strategy in mind! He grabs his boot and loosens it up a bit, before causing him to be distracted! Mattias’ leg relaxed a bit, as Lucas pulls it out the way and goes for an ankle pick! STO! He has it locked in, and that crossface is tight! Mattias is trying to go for the ropes here, but Lucas is a submission grappling expert! This is going to be hell on earth for him!
Gavin Kirkland: Lucas is one of the most intelligent grapplers in Showdown, as he easily turns it into an Omoplata! Now Mattias is actually trapped here, and that rope is his only way out! He’s trying to reach for it, but Lucas is manipulating his fingers! SNAP! Oh my Gosh, maybe Mattias’ fingers got dislocated, but he doesn’t care! He wants to get out of this no matter what, and Lucas is slowly getting tired from this kid’s persistence! Mattias reaches the rope and Lucas is forced to release the hold!
Eve: Mattias gets up, but Lucas hits him with a knee to the face! He’s staggering back, and stands up, but Lucas gets him with a SKULL CRUSHING FINALE! Mattias is absolutely out here, and Lucas knows he has to go for the cover! This might be his only chance to put Mattias out, and so he has to take that chance now! He has the legs hooked, the shoulders down and the referee starts the count!

Deadprez: NO! He kicks out, and Lucas is stunned! He turns over and he begins pounding on Mattias Burke, but Lucas is shoved off and Mattias comes in with a leg sweep! Lucas is down and he tries to apply an armbar but the Wrestling Machine counters with a side control mount! It’s not looking good for Mattias Burke brev, and honestly, Lucas might have him dead to rights here! He has him right where he wants him, and Lucas is just suffocating the poor kid! Mattias pushes him off but Lucas is too strong! He picks him up and slams him back on the mat, doing so multiple times! What strength from Lucas Johnson!
Gavin Kirkland: Mattias sees a pattern, so he grabs the leg, tries a rollup but it’s unsuccessful! Rollup doesn’t work and Mattias tries another attempt at pinning him, but Lucas is using his veteran knowledge to counter them all! He attempts a wristlock, but it transitions into a side-arm triangle! He’s trying to make the Natural fade, and this might just work! Lucas is keeping that locked in tight, but Mattias hits him with a stunner! Lucas is sent back and Mattias rebounds off the ropes! He hits him with a dropkick, but Lucas is still on the ropes! Lariat misses as Lucas ducks under!
Eve: Not good, as Lucas is gaining some momentum! He sends a hook into Mattias’ liver, then proceeds to knee him in the face! Mattias doesn’t know what to do! He’s lost! He has zero experience being in this position with someone so skilled, as Lucas makes quick work and drops him with a roundhouse kick! Now Lucas tries to make him fade again! Rear Naked Choke is locked in! Mattias is trying to push the arm away and he’s gaining some success, pushing Lucas back! But he knows what to do now! Mattias hits him with a superkick, and he’s looking for the Sliced Bread, the Natural Selection!
Deadprez: The crowd is on their feet, and they want to see the kid win! He tries to do so, but Lucas counters with a stunner! Now he’s out, and Lucas is chuckling! Mattias might’ve thought that could work, but Lucas has seen a lot of things, that doesn’t faze him! The wrestling machine picks the kid up, and flattens him with a European Uppercut yet again! Elbow Drop as Mattias spits out his mouthguard! This is not fun at all, and Mattias might be in deep trouble here!
Gavin Kirkland: Lucas is going up to the skies, and he’s about to show these fans that he can hang with him when it comes to being fast and agile! He leaps off and hits him with a Red Arrow! Red Arrow connects as Lucas goes for the cover yet again! He has the shoulders locked and down, the legs hooked and the referee goes for the count!

Eve: No! He still kicks out and he’s trying to stand up! Lucas is clearly getting frustrated! He might make a few mistakes, as he’s just kicking the kid around! Mattias gets up, and he runs off the rope! Sliced Bread! He has it— no! LUCAS MANAGES TO COUNTER IT INTO A RKO, BUT NO! Mattias easily counters it again and goes for a backslide, but Lucas rolls back and is really showing his athleticism here! Mattias pushes him into the turnbuckle, and tries the Sliced Bread again, but he’s showing inexperience! You don’t try over and over again! You become predictable! Lucas easily hits him with a shot to the stomach, and he’s down on one knee! PUNT KICK! THE PUNT KICK CONNECTS AND HE’S OUT! LUCAS FOR THE COVER!

(‘Ready to Die’ by the Notorious B.I.G. plays as Lucas Johnson as his hand raised. The crowd is giving him mixed reactions, but he doesn’t mind. Mattias gets up, as everybody gives him a standing ovation. Lucas, the winner, looks confused but just heads backstage.)
Deadprez: A great match between two incredible athletes and Mattias Burke has a huge future in the EAW, but tonight he came up short!
Gavin Kirkland: Yeah, sucks for him, where are the ladies!?
(The crowd continues to cheer as Lucas heads to the back and the scene cuts to a commercial for Midsummer Massacre.)
(As the scene returns, ‘A Cruel Angel’s Thesis’ by Yoko Takahashi starts to play throughout the arena. The beautiful Usagi Senshi comes walking out in her street clothes. She receives a nice ovation as Usagi slaps some hands from fans and makes her way to the ring.)
Deadprez: Here comes Usagi Senshi and this young woman has a lot to say. After losing her cool a few weeks ago and then being fined for the attack on the official, she was not happy about learning that Kennedy Street did have the opportunity to draft all the Ice Aces but decided to split them up and that made Usagi pretty upset.
Eve: I agree but as we have seen in the past, Usagi has been a very formidable singles competitor on Voltage, and she looks to do the absolute same on Showdown.
Gavin Kirkland: She is so pretty, but she also has the talent to survive on her own. I’m sorry but Ayu was an anchor for Usagi.
(Usagi gets in the ring and is given a mic as she paces the ring some, before finally settling in as the theme dies down.)
Usagi Senshi: I have had a week to think about what I was told by the General Manager of Showdown, that the Ice Aces were purposely not drafted together because she chose to really upsets me. I don’t think it is a secret that I have been frustrated for months after trying my hand at the singles division and have come all so close to winning some big matches against the best of the best like Minerva and Methuselah but ultimately coming up short. Then a few weeks ago Miku beat me because she held my tights and well…. I lost my cool and hit an official. For that I am sorry, it is hard to deal with a lot of emotions and sometimes I get caught up in them.
(She takes a second to compose herself before continuing to speak.)
Usagi Senshi: So, I paid my fine. I took responsibility for my actions and then to hear Kennedy basically say that the Ice Aces were split up because she wanted ARIA and myself as singles stars and left Ayu on Voltage really pisses me off!
(The crowd cheers as she takes a deep breath and actually calms down.)
Usagi Senshi: But at the same time, it is hard for me because Kennedy sees something in me that many others haven’t to the point that she drafted me because of my talents and the potential I have in the singles ranks. So, while I hate it, I am also conflicted. Being back on Showdown brings back a lot of memories, feuds I have had and some unfinished business and last week while I was in Kennedy’s office, someone reminded me of that. So…. Get your ass out here Pandora!
(The crowd cheers at Usagi calling out Pandora Paisley.)
Deadprez: Whoa! Usagi Senshi is calling out Pandora Paisley and she is not wasting any time here! She came out to the ring ready to make a statement and she has made it!
Eve: The question is will Pandora Paisley answ……
(Suddenly “Just Stop” by Disturbed starts to play throughout the arena as Pandora slowly walks out from the back in her street clothes. The boos start to ring out as she makes her way to the ring.)
Eve: …. And she has!
Gavin Kirkland: MY HELLCAT IS HERE! SHE IS HERE! LOOK AT HER! SHE IS SO PURRRRFECT!
Eve: Gavin…. Stop.
(Pandora doesn’t take her eyes of Usagi as she rolls into the ring and takes a mic from one of the ring attendants. Her music slowly starts to die down as she walks up to Usagi.)
Pandora Paisley: What do you want, Usagi?
Usagi Senshi: You know damn well what I want, because I looked into your green eyes last week and saw that you still have issues with me, you know what, I still have issues with you because did we really solve our problem from 2021 and early 2022? Because I remember the Trip to Purgatory match.
Pandora Paisley: I remember it like it was yesterday, when I was staring up at the lights covered in my own blood. I also remember I had you beaten earlier in that match but was an overzealous rook that didn’t know any better and had an awful tag team partner. Things are different now, we are both a little more mature, a little more seasoned and a whole lot smarter, but I am going to warn you, while you brag about having great matches with the likes of Minerva and Methuselah, I have done the same with the best Showdown had to offer last season.
(The crowd cheers at the growth of both women, though Usagi at the moment doesn’t look very pleased but she does see where Pandora is coming from.)
Usagi Senshi: I agree, but I saw the way you looked at me Pandora and if we still have a problem, then how about we take care of it. I’m not going to go all season with you eyeballing me the whole time for if there is still some resentment, then let’s settle it in the ring!
(Pandora smirks and likes where this is going. The Hellcat nods and walks right up to Usagi.)
Pandora Paisley: Is that what you really want, love?
Usagi Senshi: Yes.
Pandora Paisley: Okay… but be careful what you wish for.
(Pandora turns to walk away but quickly turns around and tries to strike Usagi Senshi….)

Eve: That’s true ‘Prez, one could argue that Kasai was one or two big moves away from picking up the biggest win of her career, but nonetheless today is a new day and Kasai’s going to have to remove last week from her mind and focus on the task at hand tonight if she wants to find herself back in the win column!

DeadPrez: Last week saw Delilah Rose do something not too many people would have the courage to do, as she interrupted Caroline in an attempt to get answers from ‘The Queen of Shadows’ but as you would expect, she ended up having more questions than answers. But nevertheless, Delilah Rose is a woman on a mission and if I know anything about her tonight she is looking to send a message to Caroline.
Eve: Well that’s going to be easier said than done because tonight she’s taking on Kasai, the same woman that had a thrilling back-and-forth battle with Caroline just last week. It’s going to be interesting to see just how this one plays out!
Gavin Kirkland: Can we please stop mentioning Caroline before we accidentally summon her or something?

DeadPrez: And here we go as Kasai and Delilah engage one another in a test of strength. Delilah fully extends her arms trying to gain the advantage, as Kasai does the same. Neither woman is willing to back down to the other!
Eve: It seems as if we have ourselves a stalemate— NO Delilah sends a vicious knee to the abdomen of Kasai that causes ‘The Huntress’ to drop her guard! Delilah doesn’t stop there as she quickly sends another knee to the abdomen of Kasai, which causes her to fall to her knees!
Gavin Kirkland: Delilah shoots for the ropes and fires off them rushing straight for Kasai who’s still waiting on both knees — and DELILAH DELIVERS ANOTHER KNEE STRAIGHT TO THE HEAD OF KASAI!! Delilah quickly goes for the cover!

Gina Romano: HERE IS YOUR WINNER…’THE FINAL BOSS’ DELILAH ROSE!!!
DeadPrez: Take nothing away from Kasai tonight, she came to play, and at times it seemed as if she had this match won. Had it not been for that mishap on the top rope, who knows how this match may have played out? But nonetheless, Delilah Rose capitalized on that and the rest is history. Congratulations to ‘The Final Boss’.
Eve: Yeah I agree ‘Prez, this match was a back-and-forth effort the entire night, and it easily could have gone either way, Kasai brought her A-game and has absolutely no reason to not feel proud of the performance she gave here tonight, she definitely won the hearts of a lot of fans here tonight. But tonight belongs to Delilah Rose. What a great match between these two and an even better victory for ‘The Final Boss’!
( The camera pans in on Delilah Rose celebrating her victory, mocking the crowd as they continue to boo her when suddenly….)
(Delilah her music abruptly cuts, she sits down on the corner and takes a few deep breaths in and out trying to catch her breath after that incredibly hard-fought match against Kasai, damn, that woman hit really hard. She checked on her jaw making sure it accidentally didn’t snap because of how hard those hits were and she quickly pulled herself up to her feet, dusting herself off and getting ready to leave the ring but all of the sudden the lights immediately turned off and it was clear to see why that was happening. Delilah immediately backed up and quickly got in guard, she couldn’t see anything at all but there was something weird going in the background, weird noises all around her that she could not comprehend the sound of, was that coming from the speakers? Why was it sounding like that?!)
(But it was then that the lights came back on, sadly, not the normal ones Delilah hoped for, the lights came back on purple and dark blue once more and they covered the entire arena once more, and it was then that a spotlight shined down in the ring and Delilah turned to see Caroline standing right in front of her, the dress she wore this time being more elegant and terrifying than the last, even though her hat stayed the same as Delilah looked down, she saw Caroline wearing a gold plated mask of what seemed to be a human face, and from her hands, join rings covered in runes in all of her fingers that made it look like she had claws on her hands. Delilah instead of backing down or anything like that, actually stood her ground as Caroline stood there menacingly without moving a muscle, staring right at Delilah’s soul. Delilah wasn’t going to waste anymore time than she needed to and she rushed directly at Caroline, she went for a punch just like last week-)
(And then the lights turned off again! Delilah swung and stopped as she looked around incredibly confused, she had her right in front of her, how did she avoid it so quickly? Delilah stepped back once more and waited for a bit, the lights turned on purple and blue…the spotlight shined down on the ring once again. Caroline wasn’t in front of her…she was behind her. A SONG OF ICE AND FIRE! CAROLINE GRABS HER RIGHT FROM THE NECK AND SLAMS HER HEAD STRAIGHT FIRST INTO THE MAT! Delilah rolled over and held her head in pain with Caroline simply crouching down next to her, a few people booed in response to Caroline’s actions but everyone stayed quiet slightly in fear due to what happened last week. She tapped her joint fingers on Delilah’s face in a mocking manner, almost like she was a predator playing with her food, and just then, she carefully took off her mask and her face was revealed, as beautiful and as scary as it was the past few months. She took out a microphone from the sleeve of her dress and began talking.)
Caroline: Hey there…Delilah. It was foolish of you to try and do that to me, you know that? You just let your emotions speak for you and they burst into a fit of rage as you tried to swing that fist once again at me, and just like last week, you missed again. Come on, you should know how to control your emotions better, being so angry all of the time is going to stress you out and make wrinkles appear all over you, and knowing how you look right now you seemingly are getting there. I want to ask you a question though, doesn’t failure like that get to you? Affect you? Because I will actually be honest and give you something that you won’t hear from most of the other people, you don’t know when to quit from what I see. You might take that as a compliment of the sort but there is a difference between being a valiant knight fighting against an army of one thousand warriors all by yourself, and then being a drunkard continuing to ask the bartender for more drinks even though they had too much to take now, they are both persistent, and sadly for you, you are the latter of those two options. You really wanted to act like a fearless hero facing off against the unstoppable monsters, and sure, I am very well aware you won’t like that name at all considering you like to call yourself names like “The Scarlet Cross” and get this, “The Final Boss”.
(Caroline takes a moment to very obviously roll her eyes and continue talking.)
Caroline: But it very much fits you, the foolish hero who tries to act all brave and valiant against the obstacles that she faces, combine that with a horrible attitude and anger problems and I got you down right to the bone and flesh. You want to make a name for yourself, you want people to respect you, you want people to like you and actually say that you indeed deserve to be a wrestler, in a way, it reminds me a lot of myself once I started out and I had that little sparkle of hope in my eyes, but that little sparkle there is no more, obviously. I was able to embrace the void once no one appreciated me, once everyone I thought I trusted ended up turning on my back, and now, because of his own fault, Ruler created this monster that you see right now. That is why I wanted to go for you, that is why you have been marked for a while, you remind me a lot of the person that I was before I turned into this, foolish, determined, incredibly stupid, and I just wanted to see the hope drain from your eyes as I repeatedly stomped my boot right into the side of your face repeatedly and the only thing you could do was just beg in silence for me to stop. That is what caught my eye and made me want to go for you first, and as well with Halsey Neel-
(And just then, as Caroline’s said those words, ‘Ten Ton Hammer’ by Machine Head hit on the speakers and all of the stage and titantron lit up into a blood red color that contrasted with the blue and purple lighting. Halsey slowly walked out already in her ring and a leather jacket over her as she walked in a calm manner through the red stage, almost like she was walking through a storm where blood rained from the clouds. The crowd reacted in a mixed manner since Halsey wasn’t a liked person but between Caroline and Halsey, they decided Halsey to be the lesser evil here. Her theme slowly died down and got out a microphone from her jacket as Halsey raised up her head and looked directly at Caroline.)
Halsey Neel: Ok then, let me try and see if I can hit the target here in the first try, the reason that I am targetted as well is the same reason that white and black haired chick is laying down in the mat almost unconscious, you want to experience the satisfaction of seeing that drive of mine to keep me going be extinguished right between your hands, don’t you? And I can see why, because despite everything that has been put in my path, all of the failed promises and all the losses that I racked up to my name, despite all of that, I am still here fighting. That is the reason why, isn’t it?
(Caroline doesn’t say anything at all but a small smile starts to form on her face as she hears that and a disgusted expression appears on Halsey’s face as she sees she was indeed right.)
Halsey Neel: You are indeed a sick freak as people like to say around here. But if you want me so bad then come after me, no? I am right here after all, I have nothing to lose right now because I have basically lost everything ever since I started this season, I wanted to rebuild, I wanted to break through that glass ceiling that still kept me down and I wanted to prove that I could finally achieve something for myself, I don’t like being shown as weak, and I rarely talk about things like these but I think it is the best decision if I just be honest to myself and I face you head on, yeah, I suffered various failures myself, I felt like absolute crap after continuing to lose and not get anywhere I wanted to go, it was frustrating, it ate at me up inside, and I felt like I wasn’t the woman who I said I was going to be at the start. But you know what is the thing that angers me the most out of everything? The fact that you want to take care advantage of that weak state am I in and try to use me to send some message when it should be the other way around here, I should be the one making you be put in the ground and choke in a pool of your own blood, that is as honest as I can be right now and that is the mentality I am going to be going forward, the failures stay in the past, this is not how we are going to play into it this season. So if you really want to try and squeeze the hope out of me, then we will do it in a proper fight, we can do that at Midsummer Massacre!
(Finally, the crowd reacted in cheers when Halsey ended up making the challenge to Caroline and Caroline’s smile slowly disappeared for a moment. She tapped her joint rings in her chin almost in a thinking motion before she put the microphone to her mouth.)
Caroline: …No. In fact, I want you both at Midsummer Massacre, that way I will be able to hit two birds with one stone and get plenty of satisfaction seeing the two of you suffer, but be careful with your words, be careful with your actions, because In Darkness…we fall…
(Caroline carefully put her mask back on and once again, all of the lights went out. And in a matter of seconds, all of the lights came back to normal and everything was illuminated, but Caroline was gone. It was then that medical staff was able to rush through and make their way through the ramp, running towards Delilah in the ring and making sure she was alright and fine. Halsey calmly walked down herself and threw the microphone to the side as she simply sat there in the steel steps and patiently waited for Delilah to be taken out so she could do her match, what did she put herself into now? And as the officials rolled Delilah out of the ring, Showdown faded away to commercial break for a moment.)
(The camera returns from commercial break to the ring where Halsey Neel is still standing as she is preparing for her upcoming match.)
Deadprez: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome back to Showdown and as you can see Halsey Neel is in the ring getting ready for her upcoming match, but as you can see we also have a special guest joining us for this match.
(The camera cuts to Hikari Kanno, who is sitting in a chair at ringside ready to watch this next match with vested interest.)
Eve: As you can see, Hikari Kanno is now at ringside and no doubt has some interest in this match after what happened last week, but right now, let’s send it to Gina Romano.
Gina Romano: Ladies and gentlemen, this next contest has a TWENTY MINUTE TIME LIMIT and it is scheduled for ONE FALL!

Gina Romano: Introducing first and already in the ring! Here is HALSEY NEEL!
Gavin Kirkland: Halsey Neel is looking to make a name for herself in this match. Last week, Halsey put up a hell of a fight against Chef Viz, but it wasn’t meant to be. Tonight, Halsey is going to try again to get another W for the Season.
(After a moment, ‘Riptide’ by Grandson starts to play as Serenity Valdez enters the arena to overwhelming boos from the crowd. She, naturally, is letting the crowd know exactly what she thinks of them as she heads to the ring.)
Gina Romano: Introducing her opponent! She is from Tijuana, Mexico! Weighing in at 130 pounds! Here is “MALEVOLENT” SERENITY VALDEZ!
Eve: Here comes Serenity Valdez as she heads to the ring for singles action and she isn’t exactly in the best of moods after what happened last week.
Gavin Kirkland: Why in the world is this crowd booing this beautiful woman Serenity Valdez? She almost beat Daryl Kinkade if it wasn’t for our vindictive Answers World Champion Adam Lucas. Then Hikari Kanno comes out and starts in on Serenity.
Deadprez: They had their run-ins in the past, but right now the reigning Empress of Elite Serenity is looking to get back to her winning ways with a victory over Halsey Neel? Will she be able to keep her focus with Hikari at ringside? We are about to find out.
(Serenity takes a quick glance at Hikari Kanno before she gets in the ring as the crowd still loudly boos her. Serenity enters the ring and takes her corner before her entrance music fades off. The referee checks both competitors before calling for the bell.)
(DING! DING! DING!)
Deadprez: Here we go! This match is underway. This is going to be a very interesting match right here. The Empress of Elite taking on an up and coming Elitist in Halsey Neel. Both women go for lockups in the center of the ring.
Eve: With Hikari Kanno at ringside, will that take Serenity’s eye off the ball and cost her the match? Right now, both women are jockeying for the advantage and it is the powerful Halsey Neel who gets the early advantage.
Gavin Kirkland: But Serenity grabs a handful of Halsey’s hair and gets free. Serenity is throwing forearms into Halsey’s face until Halsey is backed into the ropes. Serenity whips Halsey to the ropes AND HALSEY HOOKS HERSELF ON THE ROPES TO STOP THE IRISH WHIP!
Eve: Serenity comes running in AND HALSEY PULLS THE BOTTOM ROPE DOWN AND SERENITY GOES OVER THE TOP ROPE BUT SHE HANGS ON AND STAYS ON THE APRON!
Gavin Kirkland: Halsey turns around and throws a forearm, BUT SERENITY BLOCKS IT AND COUNTERS WITH A HANGMAN OVER THE TOP ROPE! Halsey holds her throat as Serenity springs up to the top rope-
Deadprez: SERENITY JUMPS OFF THE TOP ROPE AND GRABS HALSEY’S ARM AND TAKES HER DOWN WITH A MODIFIED SPRINGBOARD ARM DRAG AND HALSEY GOES FOR THE RIDE!
Gavin Kirkland: Before Halsey could get back to her feet, SERENITY DELIVERS A BASEBALL SLIDE DROPKICK THAT SENDS HALSEY OUT OF THE RING AND TO THE FLOOR!
Deadprez: Halsey is right out here in front of us while Hikari is still watching intently from her seat at ringside while Serenity gets back to her feet before she hits the far side robes before she comes back at full speed AND DIVES THROUGH THE ROPES AND TAKES HALSEY BACK DOWN WITH A SUICIDE DIVE
Eve: Halsey hit the floor hard on the landing and Serenity has control of this match as she brings Halsey back to her feet. Serenity has a handful of Halsey’s hair before she grabs another handful of hair AND SERENITY JUST FLINGS HALSEY HALFWAY ACROSS THE FLOOR!
Deadprez: HALSEY CRASHES HARD ON THE FLOOR IN FRONT OF US! There’s a reason why Serenity is the Empress of Elite and she is showing it right now. Serenity is very devious and knows some tricks in order to get the job done.
Eve: The referee has been counting during this encounter and Serenity quickly rolls back in the ring and rolls out to break the referee’s count and forces them to restart. Serenity goes right back to Halsey and drags her back to her feet.
Gavin Kirkland: WOOOOOOOOO! I ALWAYS ENJOY WATCHING SERENITY WRESTLE AND TAKE CARE OF BUSINESS! It does something to me that I just can’t describe. Look at her completely dominating Halsey Neel.
Eve: You are so gross sometimes! But Halsey is in trouble at the moment as SERENITY WHIPS HALSEY TO THE RING STEPS, BUT HALSEY HAS COUNTERED AND SERENITY GOES FOR THE RIDE AND SERENITY GOES BACK FIRST INTO THE RING STEPS!
Gavin Kirkland: YOU BRUTE! HOW DARE YOU HURT MY EMPRESS! SHE IS GOING TO MAKE YOU PAY FOR THAT LITTLE STUNT! COME ON, SERENITY! GET HER!!
Deadprez: She is not going to give you her phone number or go on a date with you, Gavin. I hate to break it to you. You might have to just accept your fate.
Gavin Kirkland: That’s not nice, Prezzy. If Serenity wins this match, I will ask her out and take her out to dinner. WAIT!! LET GO OF SERENITY’S HAIR, YOU CHEATER!
Deadprez: Turnabout is fair play, Gavin. Serenity did it first, so Halsey just followed suit. Halsey has a handful of Serenity’s hair AND SHE JUST BOUNCES SERENITY’S FACE OFF THE RING STEPS!
Eve: HALSEY STILL HAS THE HAIR AND BOUNCES SERENITY’S FACE OFF THE STEPS AGAIN! NOW SHE BOUNCES HER FACE OFF THE RING APRON BEFORE ROLLING SERENITY BACK INTO THE RING!
Deadprez: Serenity is trying to get back to her feet when Halsey rolls back into the ring. Halsey is up a little quicker AND SHE CATCHES SERENITY WITH A ROUNDHOUSE KICK! WHAT A KICK TO THE SIDE OF THE HEAD!
Eve: That kick sends Serenity back down to the mat. Serenity is on her stomach before HALSEY KICKS SERENITY IN THE RIBS WITH THAT SOCCER PUNT! WHAT A SHOT! SERENITY IS HOLDING HER RIBS IN PAIN AFTER THAT SHOT AS HALSEY ROLLS HER OVER AND HOOKS HER LEG FOR THE COVER!

Eve: For the love of gawd, this is going to go on the entire match, isn’t it? Anyways, Halsey has mounted Serenity AND SHE IS STRIKING SERENITY WITH THOSE MOUNTED ELBOW STRIKES! HALSEY IS OUT FOR BLOOD AND HALSEY IS OUT TO HURT SOMEBODY TONIGHT!
(Suddenly, the lights in the arena start to flicker and the crowd is wondering what in the world is going on.)
Gavin Kirkland: What in the hell was that? Is someone just choosing to play with the lights in order to distract our lovely Empress? That’s not cool.
Deadprez: What in the world are you talking about? Distract Serenity? Serenity was getting beat up at that time, but it does catch Halsey a little off guard and Halsey is getting in the referee’s face wondering what in the world is going on.
Gavin Kirkland: That’s going to be a mistake right there. Halsey is taking her eye off of her opponent and that gives Serenity enough time to recover AND SHE COMES FROM BEHIND AND STRIKES HALSEY IN THE BACK OF THE HEAD! THAT’S WHAT I’M TALKING ABOUT!
Deadprez: Chalk that up to inexperience right there and Serenity takes Halsey down with that sledge to the back of the neck. Serenity grabs Halsey’s hair and brings her back up to her feet. Serenity gets some momentum built up BEFORE THROWING HALSEY ACROSS THE RING BY THE HAIR LIKE A FRISBEE!
Eve: Halsey crashes and burns hard on the mat and Serenity is reveling in her success at the moment while the crowd is booing her right out of the building. Serenity is not exactly going to be voted Most Popular in this EAW Class, but be that as it may, Serenity has proven to be a very successful competitor.
Deadprez: Serenity is as devious as she is egotistical. She thinks she’s hotter than sliced bread and she climbs up to the middle rope. Serenity is crowing to the crowd a little more as Halsey gets back to her feet.
Eve: SERENITY COMES OFF THE SECOND ROPE AND SHE IS LOOKING FOR THE DIVING METEORA, BUT HALSEY CAUGHT HER! HALSEY CAUGHT HER LEGS AND FLINGS HER DOWN TO THE MAT!

(‘Riptide’ starts playing again as Serenity rolls off of Halsey to a loud chorus of boos. She is starting to get back to her feet as Gina Romano announces the final decision.)
Gina Romano: Here is your winner… SERENITY VALDEZ!
Deadprez: That was a great match we witnessed here tonight. This isn’t exactly the best way we wanted to see the match end. But the deviousness of Serenity Valdez overpowered the intensity of Halsey Neel as Serenity picks up the win here tonight.
(The referee raises Serenity’s arm in victory before she quickly snatches it away and glares at the referee before they go back and check on Halsey.)
Gavin Kirkland: Why are these people still booing this beautiful woman? Serenity is the best and she just won the match and proved why she is the Empress of Elite! WOOOOOO! I am glad she is on Showdown!
Eve: You are so sickening! Yes, Serenity is good and it sucks that she had to go that deep into her bag of tricks to pull out the win. But you have to also give Halsey a lot of credit. Two former champions and she showed out in both matches. She might not be the most popular but she is making her mark in EAW!
Gavin Kirkland: Yeah true, but we also need to get maintenance to check on these damn lights. All that flickering could have cost Serenity the match.
Deadprez: Or Halsey!
Gavin Kirkland: Yeah. Her too.
(Serenity exits the ring and she sees that Hikari has stood up from her chair and she walks over and locks eyes with Hikari.)
Deadprez: Look at what we have here. Things are only starting to heat up between Serenity and Hikari. There’s no doubt that these two are going to meet in the ring and when they do, it is going to be a fight. Either way, Congratulations to Serenity for picking up the win.
(The final shot has Hikari and Serenity still glaring at each other before cutting to Halsey, who is coming to and not happy that she lost the match before cutting back to the staredown as the camera fades elsewhere.)
(‘Bringin’ Home the Rain’ by The Builders and the Butchers hits over the PA system, and the Off-Brand Amphetamines step out onto the staging to a mixed reaction from the capacity crowd, accompanied by Trixie Stane. They stand there for a few moments, taking in the reaction, before stepping forwards and making their way down to the ring.)
Deadprez: OBA heading to the ring, and you gotta believe that they are not going to be happy.

Gavin Kirkland: Never mind that… the big news here is Trixie looking as hot as ever…

Gavin Kirkland: I’m the consummate professional Eve. And in my professional opinion, Trixie is DAAAAAMN fine.
(The OBA reach the ring, and Kirk and Solomon allow Trixie to enter first, before following her inside the strands, Solomon and Kirk both taking microphones from out their pockets, and waiting for their music to die down. That doesn’t stop the fans however, who are just as raucous as ever, but Kirk is in no mood to wait.)
Kirk Redwood: I bet your proud of yourselves, aren’t you?
Deadprez: He’s obviously talking about POTARA.
Eve: That’s some fine observation there Prez.
Deadprez: That’s my job
Eve: I was being sarcastic
Deadprez: …
Kirk Redwood: Fine examples of champions you are, stepping from the shadows and attacking us from behind our backs.
(Boos ring out, but it is mixed with some cheers as some of the fans were happy to see what went down.)
Kirk Redwood: You left Solomon and I a bloodied mess, and no doubt made exactly the statement you were trying to make. As the camera panned in, we were done, draped over that car and unable to move. You did a number on us, I cannot deny that. But the thing is, you made a huge mistake. See, we are still stood here, we still want those titles, and you didn’t get the job done.
(Kirk steps back and allows Solomon to take center stage.)
Solomon Stane: What did you set out to achieve huh? Was it a warning? Were we supposed to skulk off, knowing that we could never be the ‘best in the world’ like the two of you preach? Were we supposed to be scared, just because you managed to get one over on us? You know what POTARA if you’d attacked us face on, if you’d acting like champions should when threatened, then perhaps Kirk and I would be a little concerned. But the thing is girls, all you have done is make us even MORE determined to make good on our promise. Those titles are ours, and we will not stop until we are wearing them around our waists.
(Trixie says something to Solomon who nods his head and then continues.)
Solomon Stane: See, it’s all well and good being high and mighty when you act as if you belong in the gutter. It’s all fun and games until you recognize that the OBA are just a little bit too much for you to handle, and you understand that your title reign is coming to its natural conclusion. That’s what happened at the end of last week’s show, wasn’t it, you sent us a message. The thing is, that message fell flat, and all you showed us is how desperate you have become. So, you know what? Why don’t we do things a little differently this week? Why don’t you dig down deep, find that courage that you obviously lacked last week, and come out here right NOW and face us. Confess your sins, and maybe, just maybe we’ll take it easy on you. So, come on POTARA, come out here and let us show you what happens when you don’t have the advantage of a cheap shot. Let me show you why the OBA are the next Undisputed Tag Team Champions of the world.
(All eyes go to the entranceway, Kirk and Solomon talking to each other with smiles on their faces.)

(Tot Musica’ by Ado kicks in, the fans jumping up to their feet.)
Deadprez: Well, here they come…
(Harper and Holly step out onto the rampway, both grinning from ear to ear, their music dies down, but Solomon interjects before they can speak.)
Solomon Stane: Glad you could join us, guess you’re not as yella as we thought.
(Harper turns to Holly, who motions for her to speak.)
Harper Lee: Do you ever listen to yourselves speak? I mean, we have to, and believe me, we are not impressed. You think it was cowardly to attack you after the show? You think that is the only way we can beat you? Newsflash, we are the Tag Team Champions right now, because we never run from anything. Truth be told, that attack on you wasn’t cowardly, it was because we could. But if you think that is the limit of what we can do, you are sadly mistaken. We sent you a message yeah, and that message was do NOT mess with POTARA, because we don’t play. You being out here today bitching and whining only tells Holly and I one thing, you didn’t GET that message.
Kirk Redwood: Oh we got it, loud and clear.
Harper Lee: Good…
(Holly now interjects.)
Holly Arrow: Then do yourselves a favor, because you are not ready for the standards, we show every single week. Walk away, train, train and then train so much more, and perhaps then you may put up a fight and won’t be embarrassed when you step into the ring with us. (Kirk and Solomon both look at each other, saying something that the mic doesn’t pick up on, then with a nod they both slide out the ring and sprint up the ramp…)
Deadprez: HERE WE GO!!!
Harper and Holly drop the titles, preparing for the onslaught which hits them like a sledgehammer. Solomon slams into Harper with a right arm, knocking her backwards and into the staging, as Holly is tackled to the floor by Kirk, who starts to pummel her with right hands. Harper gets her senses, and both her and Solomon start throwing right hands, both trying to take the other’s head off. Holly rolls over and pushes Kirk off of her, and gets to her feet, going to kick him in the nuts but Kirk blocks in and spins her around, and for Holly to smash her fist into his face, sending him backwards and through the curtain. Holly runs after him, and Harper and Solomon grapple through the curtain, both trying to get the advantage.)
Deadprez: There you have it, the Off-Brand Amphetamines making it clear, they are not out of the fight!!!
Eve: And POTARA also makes it clear, they are more than up for one!!!
(The camera cuts to the back, where POTARA and the OBA are still fighting, the scene cutting away to another section backstage where you can still hear the ruckus.)
(It transitions to where Kyra Phillips is pictured standing by. The camera pans out, and to a huge ovation, Sheridan Muller is revealed. Sheridan nods, hearing the noise and acknowledging it, but it is more than obvious that she has more than a little on her mind. Kyra recognizes this as well and is eager to get into the interview and allow Sheridan the time to say what it is, she needs to.)
Kyra Phillips: Sheridan, thank you for joining me. It’s a pleasure to have the Cash in the Vault holder with me.
Sheridan Muller: That’s very kind.
Kyra Phillips: You asked for this time, so the camera is yours.
(Sheridan pauses for a moment, controlling her emotions before she starts to speak.)
Sheridan Muller: I know, this is irregular, and I thank you for giving me this time Kyra. I know normally you would interview me; I would answer and then we would go our separate ways. But I think this is something that I need to get off my chest and not allow it to fester.
Kyra Phillips: Happy to follow your lead Sheridan.
Sheridan Muller: That is appreciated. I will try not to take up too much of your time.
(She pauses again, looking at the floor for a few moments before her eyes once again meet the camera lens.)
Sheridan Muller: Last week, Adam Lucas called me a machine. And he’s right. I pride myself on ensuring that every part, every cog of my body and mind is working correctly. It’s the only way I will ever work. That is what German efficiency is. I don’t like feeling ‘out of control’ Kyra, I like to keep my emotions, and my focus in check. Not only when I step into the ring, but also when conducting myself away from it. Some have said that I am ‘lacking’ in emotion, and perhaps I am, but I prefer to think that I keep those emotions away from the surface where they can cause damage. Losing control never does anyone any favors, as Adam found out last week when he was distracted by everything going on and allowed Daryl Kinkade to get the drop on him. That is something that I try to ensure never happens, although lately, a certain someone has managed to find a way.
Kyra Phillips: You’re of course talking about the interference from Scott Diamond last week that ruined your match with Adam Lucas?
(Sheridan licks her lips, a glimmer of a sneer forming that she quickly gets rid of.)
Sheridan Muller: That I am. You see, Adam and I both spoke of the likelihood of our match coming to an unsatisfactory conclusion, and so it was the way it transpired. Daryl and Scott ruined what was an important match to me, and the reality is, it was predictable. Like Adam or not, he is the Answers World Champion, and beating him clean would have been quite the statement. I was denied that, as was Adam denied the chance to beat me, which he clearly wanted. You see Kyra, Adam and I both share the same beliefs. We want to compete and show ourselves to be the very best. People like Daryl, people like Scott, they have an entirely different attitude, one that causes a mockery of our sport. And you know what Kyra, I’m sick of it. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve not lost my cool and if Scott is listening now, he shouldn’t think that he has gotten under my skin because that would be a fatal error on his part. But that is two weeks in a row he has laid me out and it ISN’T happening again. You’ve seen my journey, everyone has. You saw how hard I have worked, hard work that culminated in me wining the Cash in the Vault match. I only did that, because of how important professional wrestling is to me. It is everything, and Kyra, what is happening here right now isn’t what I deem professional wrestling to be. Not even close.
Kyra Phillips: So, what are you saying?
Sheridan Muller: Simple. I’m going to do something about it. I’m going to clean up the mess that certain individuals make and take them to task for it. I’m going to make sure that as the gimmick went, WE WRESTLE, and without the unfortunate situations both Adam and I have had to endure already this season. And that task commences in just a couple of weeks at Midsummer Massacre.
Kyra Phillips: You mention that event, where you will face Scott Diamond which is the probably the reason, he is targeting you right now. Scott Diamond is a legend, how are you going to tackle him?
Sheridan Muller: Like I always do. Head on. As I told Adam last week, I believe that on my day, I can beat anyone in this company, including Scott Diamond.
Kyra Phillips: So how do you prepare for such a match?
Sheridan Muller: I train Kyra, I make sure that I am in the best possible shape heading into that match. I prepare, and make sure I have all the answers to the questions that Scott will ask. But rest assured Kyra, Scott will have no doubts, the mistake he made by targeting me. He will be put in his place; you can be certain of that. I’m going to make sure Scott Diamond regrets the day he ever stepped foot on Showdown, by doing something that I know I will regret…

Eve: Another woman with a statement to make in her mission in trying to get her championship back and certainly wants ro make that statement here tonight in a natch where we renew an old Pain for Pride rivalry between her and Candice. And you have to wonder if Madison has her eyes closely on this match as well.
(Candice is just staring down Ashlynn who is behind Veena talking trash the entire way.)
Deadprez: Yeah that team was bound to implode but it’s not like they weren’t communicating or anything, Ashlynn just straight up left for no reason and you can’t blame Candice for being angry about it.

(The camera switches to see Madison Kaline watching the match on a backstage monitor.)
Eve: Well we asked earlier if she’d have any interest in this match and it looks like we have our answer. 👀
Deadprez: And this match is underway as we renew an old rivalry here tonight between Candice and Veena! Candice is suspicious and who could blame her after how things went down last week? And they both circle the ring for a moment before locking up in a collar and elbow tie-up but quickly break apart after neither could gain the upper hand on the other. Veena now out of nowhere charges and spears Candice back first into the corner before launching several elbow strikes into the face and then tries to choke her out as the referee tries to create some separation between the two of them.
Referee: ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR! COME ON BACK IT UP!
Eve: Veena puts her hands up and steps back a few feet but not for long as she quickly approaches Candice, but Candice stops her dead in her tracks getting her boot up before hopping up on the second turnbuckle…AND SHE DELIVERS A LEAPING DROPKICK THAT TAKES DOWN VEENA! Veena pulls herself up in the opposite corner and here comes Candice looking to keep this flurry of momentum going charging at her with a full head of steam and drives both of knees into Veena’s chest…before following it up with a monkey flip as Veena lands back first on the mat! Candice is feeling fired up still keeping a close eye on Ashlynn who doesn’t look impressed in the slightest watching from the outside.
Gavin Kirkland: How could you not be impressed by that tho?
Eve: Candice looks to stay on the attack as she gets Veena up one knee, and Veena begins trying to fight back throwing shots at her ribs, but Candice retaliates by repeatedly driving the knee into her nose that causes her to stumble back up against the ropes. Candice then irish whips Veena into the ropes but Veena then slides under her legs before standing to face her back and then ramming her chest first into the corner before rolling her up from behind!

Deadprez: Candice kicks out as they both race up to their feet as Veena goes for a spinning leg lariat, but Candice catches her leg shaking her head as Veens tries to plead her way out of this, but Candice flips her backwards…BUT VEENA LANDED ON HER FEET, AND CANDICE I THINK WAS EXPECTING THAT AS SHE DELIVERS A SPINNING LARIAT ALMOST TAKING VEENA’S HEAD OFF! Candice doesn’t go for the cover though as she looks to inflict more damage as she immediately drops down and locks in the crossface submission on is wrenching back on Veena’s body bending her back like a pretzel.
(Ashlynn tries her best to pound the mat and will Veena to get out of this.)
Eve: Veena is trying her best to find a way out of this as she begins to drag herself to the ropes inching closer and closer, and she reaches out almost inches away from grabbing that bottom rope – BUT CANDICE LETS GO KNOWING IT WAS LIKELY A LOST CAUSE AS SHE GRABS HER BY THE FOOT AND DRAGS HER BACK TO THE MIDDLE OF THE RING! But before we could know what Candice had in mind Veena used her feet and pushes her back first into corner buying herself enough time to get on a knee we before Candice runs straight to her…AND VEENA COUNTERS WITH A DROP TOE HOLD AS CANDICE HITS THE SECOND TURNBUCKLE FACE FIRST!! Candice landed hard on her nose there as Veena rolls completely away from her before standing back up.
Gavin Kirkland: Veena takes a second to recuperate before she runs to the opposite corner….AND NOW IT’S HER WHO DRIVES BOTH KNEES RIGHT INTO THE BACK OF CANDICE’S NECK! Candice could be in some trouble here as Veena tosses her down to the mat and begins to climb up to the top turnbuckle, what could she possibly have in mind here? Veena stands up top and balances herself looking down at Candice…..AND VEENA LEAPS OFF GOING FOR “TWISTED VEENA” – BUT CANDICE MOVES OUT OF THE WAY AT THE LAST SECOND! Veena devided to tske the risk early on and she might end up having to pay for it as Candice stands up and measures Veena from behind as she turns around to face her….AND CANDICE DRILLS HER WITH THE “SPINNING WHEEL!!!” THE SPINNING WHEEL KICK FROM CANDICE AS SHE DROPS DOWN ON TOP AND GOES FOR THE COVER!!

Eve: AND VEENA GETS THE SHOULDER UP AT TWO AND A HALF! You can see the relief over on Ashlynn’s face who you have to wonder if doubt is beginning to creep in.
Gavin Kirkland: Nah I doubt that as Candice looks to go back on the attack quickly here as she picks her up off the mat and begins hammering away at her back before putting her between the legs and I think we all know what that means…BUT VEENA COUNTERS WITH A BACK BODY DROP BUYING HERSELF A LITTLE BIT OF BREATHING ROOM! I think we all know Candice was setting up for the “Candy Destroyer” right there and Veena just dodged a huge bullet there. Ashlynn is on the outside trying to shout some motivation as Veena stands up and charges at Candice going for a spear…BUT CANDICE SIDESTEPS IT AND SENDS VEENA SHOULDER FIRST INTO THE RING POST THROUGH THE SECOND TURNBUCKLE!!! Veena is in trouble once more as Candice pulls her out from the corner and….SHE HOOKS THE ARMS AND DELIVERS A DRAGON SUPLEX BRIDGING IT INTO A PIN!!

Eve: Veena stays alive with the kickout once more and Candice right away pops up and runs off the ropes…AND SHE GOES FOR HER “COLORS OF THE WIND” TORNADO DDT…..BUT VEENA DOESN’T LET IT HAPPEN AS SHE HOLDS ONTO HER BEFORE TOSSING HER STOMACH FIRST ON THE TOP ROPE! Candice is a sitting duck right there with her upper body hanging over the top rope as Veena hops up on the second turnbuckle…AND SHE HITS A LEG DROP ON THE BACK OF CANDICE’S NECK!! Ashlynn is telling mother to go for the finish here as Veena pulls herself up with the ropes and begins to stalk Candice who is slowly stirring back up to her feet.
Deadprez: AND VEENA GOES FOR A JUMPING KNEE AND IT DROPS CANDICE LIKE A SACK OF POTATOES! Veena looks to be in complete control of this match right now as Veena crawls over to the corner and begins ascending up the top rope once more. It didn’t work out for her the last time she went high risk but will it work this time…YES IT WILL AS VEENA HITS THE “TWISTED VEENA” RIGHT ON TOP OF CANDICE BEFORE HOOKING THE LEG FOR THE COVER!! CANDICE FLIPS THE PRESSURE AS SHE’S ON HER KNEES AND REPEATEDLY DRIVES HER FREE FOREARM INTO THE FACE OF VEENA! Veena still hasn’t let go of the armbar though and oh god….CANDICE WITH QUITE A BIT OF STRENGTH PICKS HER UP WHILE THE ARMBAR IS STILL APPLIED AND TOSSES HER INTO THE CORNER CONNECTING WITH THE BUCKLE BOMB!!! Deadprez: But Candice is trying with everything she’s got to fight back by blocking the duplex before delivering several shots to the ribs of Veena and now it’s a battle for control between the two of them on that top rope exchanging blows with the other – AND OH MY GOD! CANDICE JUST LEAPED OVER VEENA AND DELIVERS A SUNSET FLIP POWERBOMB OFF THE TOP ROPE!! Veena landed hard on the back of her head as Candice rolls under the bottom rope and climbs up to the top rope still keeping a close eye on Ashlynn at ringside who had her hands up in innocence….AND CANDICE JUMPS OFF THE TOP ROPE GOING FOR A FROG SPLASH…BUT VEENA GOT HER KNEES UP!!! Candice pops back up and looks to take advantage here as she rolls Veena up from behind!!!

Eve: A great match between two women I’m sure are going to make a lot of noise this season. Veena picks up the huge win here tonight picking up some huge momentum for herself going forward in her chase to reclaim the National Elite Championship.
Deadprez: If you ask me I think the presence of Ashlynn being at ringside got into Candice’s head a few times here tonight which ended up costing her. Ashlynn didn’t try anything but you can’t be too certain with how last week went down.
(The camera switches backstage to see Madison Kaline watching the match on a monitor with her arms folded giving a slight nod before switching back into the arena if Veena and Ashlynn are celebrating in the ring.)
(As it is about to fade into a commercial break, Candice slowly recovers and asks for a mic. Breathing heavily and slowly trying to get back up to her feet, Candice speaks.)
Candice Blair: Cut the music!
(The theme abruptly cuts as Ashlynn turns around. Veena looks back.)
Candice Blair: This isn’t through with us. Now while Veena already has a match at Midsummer Massacre…. Ashlynn….. YOU DO NOT!
(Veena rolls her eyes and whispers something in Ashlynn’s ear in which she nods. The former National Elite Champion continues to make her way to the back while Ashlynn stands there and slowly starts to go back into the ring.)

I tried to be a good tag team partner last week, but your head is so far up Veena’s ass that you couldn’t come up for air! Now that is twice you have directly or indirectly cost me and no more! I came here as an advocate of Disney! I was drafted to Showdown so that I could be a huge asset to this Brand! You nor anyone else here is going to take that away from me!
(Ashlynn starts to feign crying before taking the mic from Candice. She starts to laugh a little.)

(Miku walks in with a huge smile on her face after what happened on Dynasty the night before. She is proud of what she did to Kassidy and while the match she was involved with Sienna Jade was ultimately thrown out thanks to Sierra Everett, that doesn’t matter to Miku, she was able to get the point across.)

Kyra Phillips: Uh….. okay so we all saw what happened last night on Dynasty. The show ended with you laying Kassidy out and then holding the Universal Women’s Championship. A lot of people are saying that you are striking while the iron is hot, that Kassidy has still not recovered from Pain for Pride and that puts you in a great position to possibly score the upset and become a World Champion. Your thoughts?
(Miku turns and looks at Kyra as if she just farted and stunk up the room.)
Miku Sakai: Wait what? Score the upset? Are you kidding me with this right now? Kyra, I am the favorite to win anyway. Kassidy is wearing down; I mean look at her. She is slow, lethargic, can barely walk, notice how she has the saddle walk now? I mean come on. Bethany is a bitch, but I will give her credit, she did a number on Kassidy especially mentally. She’s not right, I’m in her head now. Look, let’s be straight here. I had Sienna Jade beaten, done and that idiot Sierra Everett decided to stick her nose in my business. Miku Saka: Are you kidding me right now? Do I look scared? Dude, I have done nothing but succeed from day one. Put me in any situation against anyone and I will triumph, already against the top names in the EAW, and will do it again. Kassidy is no different. Yeah she’s great, sure she has done it all in the EAW, I’m not stupid, but I also think that this company doesn’t give me enough credit here. I have been a staple on any brand and now I get to be the one to bring the title home back to Showdown, which was how long ago since they had it? Oh right, that Harper Lee girl who sucks. Seriously, at this point, I am the only chance that Showdown has. Not Serenity and her Empress of Elite crown nor Sheridan Muller and her Cash in the Vault.
Kyra Phillips: Those are some strong words Miku and maybe there is some credence to Kassidy being affected more mentally than physically by the last few months she had culminating at Pain for Pride, but the question is how will that play into what you have planned and want at Wreckless Wiring, or even the match stipulation?
Miku Sakai: It means nothing. The stipulation could favor her, who cares, I have beaten many that had the edge on the match, does it matter to me, nah. Kassidy Heart needs to understand that this is my time now. Okay, she got another title run, she beat Bethany in the Glass Wallz, but I have already proven I can beat Pain for Pride Main Eventers and she is no different. Reckless Wiring will be my time, they will all rejoice, and witness Miku Sakai finally beat Kassidy Heart and look. Am I worried about her coming here and doing something? No. I planted her last night, she is still feeling it today and that just proves that I am faster, better, and ready to become the Universal Women’s Championship.

Deadprez: Chaotic aftermath to a great match here tonight, but one thing we can tell is that things really are heated up here tonight ahead of Midsummer Massacre, whether it’s between ARIA and Jon Kelton, or Serenity Valdez and Hikari Kanno. (‘Riptide’ by Grandson blasts through the speakers for a second time as Serenity Valdez places her foot over Hikari’s neck, standing tall after successfully managing to make her statement two weeks ahead of Midsummer Massacre. From there, Saturday Night Showdown fades elsewhere.)
(Showdown slowly faded backstage and a cameraman slowly walked around the hallway wondering where was the locker room that he needed to go to and it was then that he quickly encountered the door with the nameplate there in the front “Chef Viz”, oh boy, this was going to be an interesting one then. The cameraman quickly prepared himself for what was about to happen and then he slowly opened the door a bit, he quickly walked inside and turned the corner before beginning to reveal the Visual Prophet’s locker room…yeah, it was a kitchen, there wasn’t any surprise there but a BIG one in reality! Somehow with the power of Viz’ 100 demands he was able to fit various stoves, a dishwasher, cooking utensils, a refrigerator, everything in a kitchen was inside this locker room, of course, the walls were a purple and gold color in Viz’ style, and what actually needed to be inside of the locker room was all pushed into Dr. Angelo D’Angelo’s side of the room, a personal office that was sadly locked and the cameraman couldn’t gaze into. The worst part though was having to move all of this next arena, but Viz used his 7th demand to get a whole personal moving team that can move all of his stuff.)
(Chef Viz right now was fully concentrated right now making sure he didn’t miss any step of the preparation of his dish, but he stopped for a moment when he saw the cameraman enter and a very bright smile appeared on his face.)
Chef Viz: AHAH! Welcome, man with the camera, to my humble abode of dishes and cuisines inside here of my own locker room, don’t be shy, don’t be scared, everyone is welcome inside of here…except if you don’t wash your goddamn hands, do it, can’t get any germs on MY FOOD.
(The cameraman looked confused for a moment wondering how he would be able to…clean his hands while still holding the camera, but after a few tries, he was able to wash them on the dishwasher.)
Chef Viz: Alright, without any further adieu, HIT IT ANGIE!
Dr. Angelo D’Angelo: Yes Chef!
(Angelo quickly came out of nowhere from his office, in an incredibly good mood and then he quickly pressed a button on a phone on the counter, and then it started playing…hit childhood nostalgia song “Cooking by the Book” by LazyTown. The two immediately stopped for a moment and looked at each other in extreme confusion.)
Chef Viz: :dahell:
Dr. Angelo D’Angelo: :wtf:
Chef Viz: Angie, did you just put demon incantations? What the [BLEEP] is that?
Dr. Angelo D’Angelo: I have no idea Viz, I just searched for a list of songs to cook to and then this…abomination popped up when I hit shuffle on it.
Chef Viz: You hit SHUFFLE? Come on Angie, where is that song even from?
Dr. Angelo D’Angelo: I think a kid’s show about staying healthy and playing with puppets.
Chef Viz: My man, I don’t need to stay healthy, they built the word healthy about my diet and this body, and I am not a ventroloquist, I am a CHEF. Just change to my song and let’s get this over with.
(Dr Angelo D’Angelo quickly nodded and he personally selected the song this time, “5 Milli” by Icewear Vezzo started playing and now that smile came back to Viz’s face, he was in the zone now. He quickly sat down the cutting board, and slapped down two pieces of raw meat, began sprinkling and carefully laying out the seasoning of salt and pepper across the pieces, he put a purple pan on the stove and began heating up at a medium-high temperature, quickly adding some oil to the pan and then effortlessly slapping the pieces of meat into the pan. He began letting them sizzle and he turned to the camera with a confident smile.)
Chef Viz: You see the work of art I am doing right now? You see what I am quote in quote, COOKING? I am the best goddamn chef in this whole company and possibly the entire world, haven’t tested that out yet but I would probably beat everyone in my path by just putting one piece of broccoli as a dish, that [BLEEP] about to make you see the entire Milky Way Galaxy, I am that DAMN GOOD, the second best chef in here is a scrawny dwarf named Jake who instead of using a well mediated temperature to cook his expertly crafted steak, he uses a explosion, that puts the one in shame in Oppenheimer, just to cook a simple bag of chips. I am just a man who can’t simply be touched, not in the ring, not in the kitchen, not everywhere else and no matter how many times I continue to tell it to everybody in here, they still think I am joking, they still think this is all just a character, they still play with me like I am some puppet in some weak strings, you are going to get third degree buns if you even dare touch me and all of the goddamn meat I carry as well.
(Chef Viz said quickly flexing his arms and muscles to the cameraman as he quickly grabbed the pan and started doing various flips with it, expertly moving them around and pushing both steaks high in the air before they flipped around and landed perfectly back on the pan.)
Chef Viz: That’s that real [BLEEP] right there. Because food is our main source of survival, none of them lyrics, none of them words, none of that desperate dickeating others type of [BLEEP], this is it. And honestly, you know what I would like to do for the rest of the day, rest of the week? Just continue to cook, just continue to enjoy my life and ignore all of the goddamn meddling of that scoundrel Cy Henderson because now that he thinks he is going to get his former glory by beating someone like me, now he thinks he can be a real superhero and wreck house? Nah, a C+ movie looking star trying to think he made it, he looks like Peacemaker but worse, Dominic Toretto’s brother but worse, that one random dude in Bumblebee but worse, that one random ass bull kids movie where he would sound like his favorite sex position in bed is missionary, BLAND AS HELL. Why he counting 1, 2 and 3 at me like he is the Dracula from Sesame Street? This [BLEEP] ain’t funny, stop laughing. You know what is going to happen though? My record is going to continue to be clean from losses, as stainless as this certified Stainless Steel pan I am using right now, because for everyone to know at home, cooking with Stainless Steel is the best option.
(He then added 1 tablespoon of butter inside of the pan and began spinning the steak around so it was covered in the butter and Viz simply continued on.)
Chef Viz: So you know what I am not going to do? Worry myself about that man. I got better things to do than to deal with a man who looks like he would break his spine putting a shoe on, he just doesn’t compare TO THIS WORKING GYRATING HIPS! And honestly man, I am simply living life right now inside of a brand that actually gives a damn about the top star they have on their hands and they let me do my own thing, I am cooking, I am taking care of my school, I am out trying to get some fun, get to partying, get some drinks, see Angie shoot his shot with a woman, miss and then laughing when she rebounds with a slap to the face, it is the simple things in life so let me finish off here, cameraman, show everybody something else while I get done.
(The camera turned over for the moment and focused directly on one of the walls where it was lined up by various new Stainless Steel pans that Viz bought and hung up, they were divided in various colors. The cameraman then “panned” back towards Viz and he was basically done, carefully serving the dish in a plate and then finally putting the final touch, a few sprigs of fresh thyme around the steaks.)
Chef Viz: I call this masterpiece…Viande plus longue que celle de ton copain (Meat longer than your boyfriend’s). AND THAT WILL BE EVERYTHING FOR TODAY. Don’t try and translate what I said, it means very well cooked steak, so once again, thank you everyone for your visit and me giving you a glance into my humble abode of dishes and cuisines-
(And just before Viz could finish speaking, the door suddenly got kicked open and then Cy Henderson walked inside with a serious expression on his face, after various weeks of fighting and running away, he was done playing himself.)
Cy Henderson: We need to end this now.
Chef Viz: OH FOR F- CAN’T YOU SEE I AM COOKING RIGHT NOW? Leave me alone! Imagine if you did that while someone is in the bathroom, it would have ended horribly-
Cy Henderson: I am done with your little games, I am done with the jokes and I am done with you running away Viz. I am not going to leave this place until you actually give me a fight!
(Viz and Dr. Angelo D’Angelo looked at each other in silence for a moment before quickly turning back towards Cy and Dr. Angelo began speaking.)
Dr. Angelo D’Angelo: You know what, you damn G.I. Joe looking ripoff? We actually wanted to leave this a little surprise for you when you found out but since you are here right now, it is perfect to reveal it! For you see, you are indeed going to be getting a fight, you are going to be booked in a match next week with an opponent of our choosing as the…
(Dr. Angelo D’Angelo shuddered for a moment before saying this.)

(Suddenly though as Cy is focused on Dr. Angelo D’Angelo, Viz suddenly blindsides him! He grabs one of the Stainless Steel pans from the wall and this time he doesn’t miss when he hits Cy right on the gut with it! Viz began to then pummel Cy down as many times as we could with the pan, across his gut, across his back and then finally, lining it up for the final hit and hitting him right across the jaw with it. Cy fell down hard to the ground and Viz stood on top of him in victory, looking down at him and slowly adjusting his chef’s hat.)
Chef Viz: Kennedy says that she also likes the idea that Chef Viz ONLY cooks with Stainless Steel, and you know what else is made of Stainless Steel? A steel cage. At Midsummer Massacre, when I prove how much of a washed up farce you are? It is going to happen in a steel cage match. As the new saying goes, “Cook Chef Viz Cook”.
(Chef Viz didn’t waste any time at all grabbing Cy by his shirt and then throwing him out of the locker room, the cameraman being pushed out as well considering he was basically done with his job and Chef Viz simply slammed the door closed right on his face. The last shot shown was Cy nursing his injuries and staring daggers directly at the door as it cuts to the last commercial break of the night.)
(As it comes back from a commercial break, ‘In The Air Tonight’ by Phil Collins begins to play through the speakers of the Cross Insurance Arena. The crowd delivers a huge pop as Scott Diamond walks out from the back. Clearly, he has a focused look on his face as he makes his way down the ramp.)

Eve: Jon Kelton went from thinking that he will be facing Madison Kaline for the National Elite Champion to ARIA. Jon interrupted ARIA’s interview with Kyra Phillips last week. It led to Jon Kelton presenting ARIA with the opportunity to prove to herself as being worthy of being champion. The match is set for Midsummer Massacre.
Deadprez: Now, ARIA had a great last season. She’s a former Specialists Champion. She defeated a Hall of Famer in Madison Kaline at Pain for Pride. She’s already challenged for the Universal Women’s Championship. What’s to stop her from pursuing the National Elite Championship?
Gavin Kirkland: Nothing. I’m all up for ARIA becoming champion, but Jon Kelton is on a whole other level since Pain for Pride and it’s going to be difficult to keep him down!

Eve: No! Jon Kelton slides off the shoulders of ‘The Perfect Storm!’ Jon is insisting for the referee to do his job and back up Scott Diamond! Londyn Zelaya steps onto the apron and tries to give some words of encouragement, but the duo’s sight on Scott does not waiver. As the referee is trying to back up Scott, Jon relaxes himself a bit! He cracks his neck left to right as he resumes his match with Scott! Scott has his hands up in a boxing-like stance as Jon happens to do the same thing! Jon is quite cautious with locking up, knowing that his strength might be no match for Scott. I mean, no one’s strength is!
Sheridan Müller: With German Efficiency on my side, you don’t need to rely on brawn, just brain. It’s similar to any typical American who finds themselves in a disadvantage. Jon Kelton needs to rely on his brain to out move the brawn of Scott Diamond.
Deadprez: The two of them proceed to lock up, but Jon Kelton feels the strength of Scott Diamond’s grasp as he goes around and applies a waist lock on the former World Champion! Jon is trying to tighten the grasp of the waist lock, BUT SCOTT MANAGES TO GRAB JON’S HANDS AND RIP THEM APART FROM HIS WAIST! IT WAS ALMOST LIKE IT WAS WITH EASE! JON SEEMS TO BE A BIT STUNNED THERE, BUT HE KNOWS THAT HIS SIGHT CANNOT BE LOST AGAINST SCOTT DIAMOND! Jon eases himself a bit before going in once more! Then, Scott begins to throw some fists to the spine of ‘The Devil of The Devolution!’ Jon is taken down as Scott picks up Jon once more and gets him in a front headlock! Scott gets Jon up and I think that we’re going to see a vertical suplex, but it seems like Scott is looking to keep Jon up there for a moment or two!
Deadprez: That man, Scott Diamond, is now doing crunches while having Jon Kelton up like that!
Sheridan Müller: I’m not the one for theatrics, honestly. While showboating may get brownie points from some of these casuals, I prefer not to indulge myself for the sake of casuals. I am a different breed.
Gavin Kirkland: It seems like Jon Kelton put an end to his suffering as Scott Diamond connects with that delayed vertical suplex! Scott gets Jon up to his feet as he grabs onto the waist of the National Elite Champion! It seems like he’s planning to go for these deadly German suplexes! Scott takes Jon back with a German suplex! But, he still has control of the waist as he rolls up Jon back into position and then takes him back with a German suplex! But, it seems like Scott is going for a third German suplex as he takes the champion back! This time, he releases that suplex! He gestures for Jon to get up to his feet! At the first sign of that, Scott charges at Jon, connecting with a giant clothesline that sends Jon to the corner!
Eve: We see Scott Diamond connecting with a series of shoulder thrusts to the gut of ‘The Devil of The Devolution!’ Scott manages to get Jon up and sits him on the turnbuckle! But, Jon connects with a punch as he tries to distance himself from Scott! But, it doesn’t stop Scott for long as he goes to Jon once more, but Jon delivers a kick to take Scott away once more! Jon situates himself on the top rope! But, Scott manages to join Jon on the top rope! Jon begins to connect with a punch to knock Scott off the rope! BUT, SCOTT CONNECTS WITH A HEADBUTT TO THE FOREHEAD OF THE NATIONAL ELITE CHAMPION! THIS CAUSES JON TO STUMBLE BACK, BUT SCOTT MANAGES TO GET JON, CONNECTING WITH A BELLY-TO-BELLY OFF THE TOP ROPE! SCOTT CRUSHES JON UNDERNEATH HIM AS HE HAS HIM PINNED!

THEN, SCOTT MANAGES TO STRAIGHTEN JON BACK UP TO CONNECT WITH A KNIFE EDGE CHOP TO THE CHEST! YOU CAN SEE THE LOOK OF PAIN ON JON’S FACE! SCOTT CONNECTS WITH ANOTHER CHOP TO CHEST OF JON AS HE BEGINS TO CLUTCH TO HIS CHEST! SCOTT GOES FOR A THIRD CHOP TO THE CHEST AS THAT SENDS JON BACK TO THE HORIZONTAL SET OF ROPES! Scott manages to get a good hold of Jon’s arm as he proceeds to whip the National Elite Champion to the other set of ropes across from them! Jon manages to stop himself from rebounding off those ropes! Scott looks to connect with a clothesline! But, Jon delivers a dropkick to the legs, causing Scott to go down! Then, Jon quickly follows that up with an enziguri as that sends ‘The Mad Titan’ to his side! Jon quickly goes to pounce on Scott with stomps and punches!
Sheridan Müller: Stay on the offense, Jon. You can’t beat a beast like Scott Diamond find a way up to his feet. Keep him down as long as you possibly can.
Gavin Kirkland: It seems like Jon Kelton is going to take your advice, Sheridan and pull Scott Diamond by his foot. He takes him over to the bottom rope and begins to intertwine his leg within the bottom rope. Jon makes sure to take a step back before kicking the ropes as Scott can probably feel his leg being kicked along with it. But, you don’t look at the sign of pain from the former World Champion’s face! HE IS TRYING TO GET HIS FOOT OUT OF THE PREDICAMENT WITH THE BOTTOM ROPE, BUT JON PROCEEDS TO STEP ON THE FOOT! CAN YOU IMAGINE YOUR ENTIRE BODY WEIGHT ON YOUR LEG? WE’RE ALL AWARE THAT SCOTT IS A FREAK OF NATURE, BUT HE IS STILL HUMAN AT THE END OF THE DAY.
Sheridan Müller: Exactly, Gavin. Scott Diamond is still human. People might call him a “beast” or “monster,” but at the end of the day, he’s still human. He still has emotions and one of them is feeling the pain of having one’s entire body weight on your leg.
Referee: (off-mic) ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR! FIVE! GET OFF, JON!
Eve: The referee is backing up Jon Kelton as the two of them proceed to bicker. But, look at Londyn Zelaya who manages to hold the foot down against the ropes! This is one of the benefits of Jon having someone at ringside! Londyn proceeds to back away at the most perfect timing as Jon is done bickering with the referee! The referee is totally unaware of Londyn’s meddling! Meanwhile, the referee steps in the middle of Jon and Scott! Scott is trying to untangle his foot from the ropes! Scott is trying to tell the referee to back Londyn away, knowing that if he doesn’t stop her now, she will be a huge factor in this match!
Deadprez: Scott Diamond is freed from the ropes as he begins to find his way up to his feet! Scott is trying not to let the pain throw him off guard! But, Jon Kelton has had more than enough with having his time wasted as he runs and delivers a harsh dropkick to the injured left leg of ‘The Mad Titan.’ THIS TAKES SCOTT TO THE GROUND AGAIN AS JON UNLOADS WITH SOME FIERY PUNCHES TO SCOTT! BUT, SCOTT MANAGES TO ROLL HIMSELF ON TOP OF JON AND PROCEEDS TO THROW SOME PUNCHES OF HIS OWN! Scott is nailing these punches with such force and intensity! Scott goes to connect with some elbows to the face of Jon! You can see the look of worry on Londyn Zelaya’s face!
Sheridan Müller: Scott is a heavy-hitter. But, how does that one saying go? The bigger they are, the harder they fall? I feel like Jon is letting Scott get his shots in, hoping that he’ll use all the gas in his tank before delivering a final blow.
Gavin Kirkland: Scott Diamond finds himself to a vertical base! He grabs Jon Kelton up to his feet and looks to throw him over the top rope! But, Jon manages to drop down! Maybe, if Scott would have thrown Jon a bit higher, his attempt at throwing Scott over the top rope will be more successful. But, look at this — Jon is hanging onto the top rope! He is trying to find his way back up as Scott runs towards Jon, looking to clothesline him over the top rope! BUT, JON HOLDS THE TOP ROPE DOWN AS HE SENDS SCOTT OVER THE TOP ROPE! Eve: Okay, we are seeing Jon Kelton looking to dismantle the desk and pick up our monitors, which I assume that he will use as a weapon against Scott Diamond. This would be an automatic disqualification, right?
Sheridan Müller: It’s not considered a foreign weapon, Eve. But, who knows, honestly?
Deadprez: Jon Kelton is picking up a monitor set as the referee is trying to tell Jon to put down the monitor! But, Jon is focused on Scott Diamond, who is beginning to rise back to his feet! Jon is more than anticipating Scott rising back to his feet! At the first sign of Scott getting back to his feet, Jon charges with the monitor! BUT, SCOTT DUCKS AS THE MONITOR IS SENT CRASHING AGAINST THE RING POST! That monitor is completely crushed as Scott manages to get himself out of the way! Jon turns himself around as Scott nails him with a knee strike as that sends him back! Jon is beginning to back away even more, realizing that he might have bit more than he could chew! Scott is going after Jon who proceeds to run away from ‘The Mad Titan.’ Scott chases Jon throughout the ring as Jon manages to slide back into the ring! Jon begins to deliver some stiff knees to the face of the former World Champion! Scott begins to find himself in a seated position as Jon takes a step back before connecting with a knife edge chop to the chest of the Hall of Famer! BUT, YOU CAN LOOK AT THE SMIRK OF SCOTT’S FACE! SHE HOLDS IT THERE FOR A MOMENT BEFORE THE REFEREE AND JON ARE DONE BICKERING! ONCE AGAIN, THE REFEREE IS OBLIVIOUS TO THE ISSUE THAT LONDYN IS BEING AT RINGSIDE!
Sheridan Müller: This is one of the things that causes people to have such disdain for managers at ringside. Although, Londyn Zelaya has some massive guts to approach Scott Diamond. I guess, love makes you do stupid things?
Deadprez: Perhaps, Sheridan. Jon Kelton goes back to Scott Diamond at the corner. He pulls Scott closer to him as Jon looks to lift Scott off his feet and connect with a snap suplex! Now, we’re seeing Jon connect with a rest hold as he drops to one knee. Jon is muttering a few choice words to Scott, just hoping for Scott to throw in the towel and call it a day, but Scott Diamond quitting? It’s something that I have never seen happen! I’m not sure if it’s my old age or what, but I don’t recall an instance of Scott ever throwing in the towel.
