Showdown 5/29/21

(EAW intro plays.)

(BATTLE OF EGYPT RECAP: The recap opens with the Specialists Championship Number One Contenders No Way Out match, which featured Showdown representatives in Andrea Valentine and Raven Roberts, who ended up getting crushed underneath the cell of Harper Lee after a scuffle between the two, taking them out and allowing Ms. Extreme from Voltage to collect the victory afterwards. From there, Xavier Williams proceeded to make an unexpected appearance, giving out about the state of Showdown, but what was even more unexpected was the return of Harlow Reichert, who returned with a change of attitude, siding with Xavier Williams, proclaiming that the two would take over and are taking whatever they want. The New Breed Gauntlet match featured five Showdown competitors, them being Jon Kelton, Lucas Johnson, James Ranger, Ronan Malosi, and Ryan Wilson, who ended up being the final two along with the champion in Andre Walker, but not before imploding with his now former tag team partner in Ronan Malosi, who’s plan of a turn was foiled by Wilson. However, it was Andre Walker who got the victory out of the gauntlet match, affirming his status as the now longest reigning New Breed Champ. Bethany Blue represented Showdown as she took on Constance Blevins for the Specialists Championship, it was a hard fought match with Bethany Blue walking out victorious and bringing the gold over to Showdown. The recap ends.)

RECAP END.

(“Uncontainable” by Set It Off hits as blue and white pyro explodes on top of the stage and then the blue lights and lasers shine throughout the arena as the virtual fans are cheering ready for the show to begin before we pan over to the commentators desk.)

Eve: HELLO, AND WELCOME TO ANOTHER STAR-STUDDED EDITION OF EAW’S FLAGSHIP SHOW, SATURDAY NIGHT SHOWDOWN!

Deadprez: Yeah, and we are officially enclosing in on the biggest show of the year, Pain for Pride. It doesn’t get much better than this, so I recommend you strap in and enjoy the ride while it lasts!

Gavin Kirkland: I’ll tell you what I’m gonna enjoy, and that’s seeing Bethany Blue with some gold around her waist later on today. :mjlit:

Eve: You’ll certainly see that when she takes on Andrea Valentine in the main event tonight. You’ll also see two EAW Cash in the Vault qualifiers, one featuring the likes of Jon Kelton, Katsurou Eno, and Lucas Johnson, and the other featuring Justin Windgate and James Ranger.

Gavin Kirkland: But let’s not waste time, I’m tryna see my Ace kick off the show! :blessed:

(“Kashmir” by Led Zeppelin plays through the PA system as a thunderous ovation pours from the socially distanced crowd. Jamie O’Hara slowly steps onto the stage, a grin on his face but still far from the elated expression he typically has. He nods, looking around the World 1 Theatre as he makes his way down to the ring)

Gina Romano: Ladies and gentlemen please welcome back to Showdown!!! THE ACE OF ELITE ANSWERS WRESTLING!!! JAMIE!!! OOOOOOOOOOOOOOO’HHHAAAAAAAAARRRAAAAAAA!!!!!!

Gavin Kirkland: THE ACE! THE GOAT WORLD CHAMPION! THE GAWDSLAYER! THE FATHER OF THE YEAR HAS RETURNED HOME! THERE’S NOT A DRY EYE IN THIS BUILDING AND EVERY FAN WATCHING IS SURELY AS EMOTIONAL AS I AM!!!

Eve: For the first time in over five months Jamie O’Hara has returned to the Saturday night brand and I don’t know if anyone is as emotional as you are Gavin, but it’s a very welcomed sight to see the Ace making his way down to a Showdown right with that iconic music playing in the background.

(https://i.ibb.co/L1vxN2p/AWCCC4.png flashes across the screen)

Deadprez: More importantly at Battle of Egypt II: Clash in Cairo, the challenge was accepted, the stipulation named and was quickly made official! At Pain For Pride it will be the Ace returning to face the King for the Answers World Championship. Once more, perhaps for the final time in his career, Jamie O’Hara returns to the stage he has become so familiar with.

Eve: The rivalry between these two has led to hatred that is certainly on the verge of boiling over. Both are willing to step over every boundary, mental and physical, for the sake of defeating the other and we still have several weeks left; this a powder keg that is bound to explode any week!

(The camera cuts back to the arena where Jamie O’Hara stands center of the ring with a microphone in hand. ‘Kashmir’ dies down as the socially distanced crowd continues to cheer and chant his name)

Jamie O’Hara: Let’s start with a little fun fact, something that sets the scene a little. For the fourth time in five years I will once again walk into a headline, World Championship match at Pain For Pride, a feat that nobody else has ever been able to achieve in the fourteen years of this grand event. Name your legend, name your icon, there has simply never been someone as consistent as I have been at standing at the very top of this company at this point of the year. Despite the generations that have since come and gone, despite those who have had their own glorious and infamous moments, I have remained. Not anyone else. Me. So when I rattle off monikers, when that list is seemingly ‘extra’, understand that I have earned every right to be spoken of so highly. I have earned every right to stand here and call myself the very fucking best. I have earned every right to call myself whatever I Goddamn please because I have done and continue to achieve feats that none other has been able to achieve themselves. And as this world once again sees people reaching for and clinging to some holy sense of value and position, let it be known that no matter how much they try, no matter how convincing they may be in their narratives, there is only ONE PERSON in this entire fucking industry deserving of calling themselves a ‘God’ and that is me.

Jamie O’Hara: But let’s not lose sight of what tonight is and the significance of it; ‘God’ has returned to Showdown for the first time in just under half a year. I’m sure you’re all waiting for me to say it. You’re all waiting for me to say “I’m glad to be back!!!”, aren’t you?

(The crowd roars in approval but Jamie dismisses them, slowly shaking his head)

Jamie O’Hara: The truth of the matter is I’m not glad to be back. Much to I’m sure many, many people’s disappointment, the last thing I want to be doing is standing in this ring, addressing the events of Battle of Egypt and addressing the match at Pain For Pride. The last thing I want to be doing is standing in this ring as an active Elitist. When I said that I was done, I truly meant it. When I said that I was walking away on my own terms, I truly meant it. And walking away meant leaving behind this ring, leaving behind this brand and leaving behind each and every one of you.

(The crowd boos softly, disgruntled at the idea)

Jamie O’Hara: And I don’t blame you for booing me because I too would be disappointed and upset if I was in your shoes but that isn’t the case and I’ve been left with this undesirable position. Where I cannot move on. Where I cannot put this all behind me and start that next chapter of my life. Instead I have to travel out here to New Jersey, I have to walk through the halls of this venue and I have to stand in this ring, play the role of Elitist once again. Once again I’ve been dragged back into the never ending storm of Elite Answers Wrestling. Yes, I could have said no. Yes, I could have simply chosen to stay in Los Angeles rather than travel to Cairo. Yes, I could have had an AVO put out on that cunt to stay away from my family. But what does that teach my boy? To run? To hide? No matter how justified I may feel to walk away, no matter how justified I may feel to be well and truly above whatever adorable little challenge Kassidy Heart wanted to make, the lesson is rather simple.

(O’Hara ponders for a second, but cracks a smile)

Jamie O’Hara: Never let a subhuman, worthless piece of fucking trash slip from their humble place beneath his feet. Do whatever it takes to make them fall back in line and never dare to step out from it again.

(The crowd roars in approval yet with a smattering of disagreement among)

Jamie O’Hara: Actions have consequences, Kassidy. And you’ve lived your life for so long without facing them that I’m sure Battle of Egypt was a shock to the system. I mean, look at what happened when someone just simply rejected you? Told you no? You’ve done as you pleased, carried on however you saw fit. You responded when someone ‘wronged’ you in whatever way interested you and so rarely was it ever met with a greater retaliation. Until now. Until you decided to try that same bullshit with someone like me. What happened last week was something that I don’t feel an ounce of guilt over. No bit of remorse. If I had the opportunity to do it again and again and again, the only difference I would make is breaking that arm far worse. I enjoyed it. I enjoyed watching you collapse to the canvas, I enjoyed seeing that fight, that spirit be snuffed out as I felt the grinding of broken bones up against one another beneath my foot. I enjoyed reducing this mighty ‘King’, the girl with such grand ambitions of becoming one of the greatest of all time, to a bloody, helpless pulp resting in the palm of my hand.

(O’Hara readjusts, looking up at the Pain For Pride logo hanging at the end of the venue)

Jamie O’Hara: With No Disqualifications I plan on doing it once more. I plan on ripping that cast straight off, breaking that arm again before breaking every other fucking bone in your body. If I can’t move on Kass, then God help me I won’t let you live another day without remembering the mistake you made. The permanency of a war will be left with you in a way that you’re just not used to. I bet it’s been real nice calling yourself The Mauler with your hardcore fetish all these years but step into my world, step into the world that makes me the fucking greatest today and I will reduce everything that makes you The Mauler to child’s play. As for ‘King’? Just remember, while Kings come and go, Kassidy, Gods are immortal.

????: That’s a really nice fantasy there, Jamie. No, truly, it’s wonderful.

(The camera pans to the video screen above the stage as King Kass sarcastically taps her left arm on her chest. Jamie rolls his eyes as he turns to face Kass)

King Kass: Oh, pardon me for interrupting ‘God’; just saying that word makes me sick. But I just couldn’t let you keep going on and on this way, it was starting to get a little dry, a little boring. For all the fuss made about how you cracked that Equalizer over my head, how you injured my arm, how you left me lying in a thick pool of my own blood, what got lost was how King Kass managed to awaken an entirely different side to the Ace. A true monster that has always existed deep down in the farthest, deepest reaches of your being. Whatever I suffered last week is worth it to see you unravel the way you have. What are you going to tell young Hathaway–

Jamie O’Hara: I told you to keep his name out of your mouth.

King Kass: And the last thing I wanted was a broken arm but we don’t always get what we want, do we? Just to make sure you don’t interrupt me…

(As Jamie begins to speak, the microphone cuts off. He taps it several times but reluctantly gives up, motioning for Kass to continue)

King Kass: Thank you. What are you going to tell your baby boy when he grows up to realise that the hero, beloved by so many, one of the most popular Elitists of all time did something so horrible to someone else? Harmed them, maimed them so badly for such a lowly, pathetic reason? Who went back against the very morals and values I’m sure you and Cameron want to instill in him? But that’s not even the worst of it. How dare I or anyone say his name but you have no problem using him as justification for all of this. No hesitating in framing last week’s unnecessary attack as a means to teach someone a lesson, a lesson that’s wrong to begin with.

(The crowd simmers with boos)

King Kass: However, there’s not much point dwelling on what’s happened. Your cowardly attack on me will always remain that way and nothing you say is ever going to change that. In the end, I got my wish. I got my desired match with the Ace at Pain For Pride, just as I said I would. The price I had to pay is small compared to the opportunity I have to cement my legacy. For all the bad, awful things that I can say about you, Jamie, I can’t argue with your success. The man who enters his seventh Pain For Pride and the lowest match on that list is against his wife; that’s impressive. Fourth World Championship match in five years; that’s impressive. Winning Cash In The Vault, facing Impact, you have simply become the face of Pain For Pride in the modern era. I can give you that.

(A laxed O’Hara rests against the ropes, anticipating there’s something more to Kass’ kind comments)

King Kass: I can give you that because it just means I have more to gain by beating you. The legacy of Jamie O’Hara stretches far and wide to the point where so many of the pleasantries spoken of you can’t be argued. Build yourself up, allow others like that simp behind the announce table, your family, your friends, these people build you up; the further you fall, the greater the significance. Pain For Pride is absolutely going to be the night that Jamie O’Hara falls from his idealistic heavenly position down to earth and I will send you home, allow you to leave, allow you to start that next chapter of your life no longer the immortal you think you are. Yes, despite any and all concerns about my health and whether or not I will be fine, and despite the excruciating pain you put me through last week, don’t worry, there won’t be any problems come Pain For Pride. In fact, I would compete tonight if I had to.

(Kass raises her right arm to reveal a metal cast running from her hand up to below the elbow. A series of lines wrap around the cast in a consistent, intricate manner. Kass slowly turns it over and back, the lights of the set bouncing off every line, every crevice in the design)

King Kass: If this is going to be a war between us, then it’s best that I come prepared. I wondered, what exactly could I do to make the most of this situation? And like you said, I’ve faced little resistance in my life so why would anyone object to this? A metal cast isn’t just a weapon, it’s a shield, protecting my injury and making it just about irrelevant. Whatever advantage you thought you had breaking my arm vanished the moment I had this brilliant idea and I fully intend on staining this red with your blood; you know, just returning the favour. Whatever you want to call yourself, whatever moniker or self-presented title you want to give yourself, will become meaningless. You have always been a gatekeeper of sorts. Always tried to stop crowning the next generation, always tried to stop anyone else from being mentioned in the same breath as yourself. But look around you. Andre Walker is now the new standard for rookies after breaking your old record. Now every newcomer, every rookie that enters this company isn’t measured by your success, but his. Slowly, little by little the impact the Ace has had on this company is vanishing. Less special, less unique. The path you carved out is just a little less extraordinary. And come Pain For Pride, I’ll plunge a sword through the heart of the Ace and end the legend for good.

(‘Monster’ by Kanye West hits as Kass waves Jamie goodbye. The crowd rises with jeers as Jamie simply nods, shrugging at the lack of opportunity to respond)

Deadprez: Any doubts and any concerns about the status of Showdown’s headline match for Pain For Pride can be put to rest…for now. Who knows just what these two are going to do in the weeks to come; the bitterness, the anger, the desire to end the other is impossible not to be seen when both speak.

Eve: King Kass is playing a dangerous game taunting and provoking Jamie O’Hara like this, especially after what he did at Battle of Egypt. But that’s just the confidence of the Answers World Champion, willing to push the limits and step over any line needed, not even a broken arm, not even after the warning laid out by her challenger is she willing to take a backwards step. This match is going to be one for the ages.

Gavin Kirkland: If she thinks I’m going to be offended by being called a Jamie O’Hara simp then she’s going to be disappointed; there’s no shame in simping for someone as grand and glorious as O’Hara!

(Jamie O’Hara finally exists the ring and heads towards the back, a more stoic expression on his face, as he disappears behind the curtains and the scene fades to black)

(The same commercial promoting condoms featuring Ronan Malosi. Wear it or risk getting a Ronan.)

(Showdown comes back on the air to see the Cash In The Vault briefcase high above the ring, before fading out to see Gina Romano standing inside the ring.)

Gina Romano: The following is a Triple Threat Match scheduled for!

Virtual Crowd: ONE FALL!!

Gina Romano: And is a Qualifier match for CASH… IN…THE VAULT!!!!

(‘Young and Bitter’ by Hot Tag Media plays to a negative reaction from the virtual fans, who Lucas Johnson steadily ignores as he strolls down to the ring, laser-focused on the match ahead.)

Gina Romano: Introducing first! Hailing out of Long Island, New York, weighing in at 210 pounds…HE IS THE WRESTLING MACHINE…LUCAS JOHNSON!!!

Gavin Kirkland: The Wrestling Machine will be looking to get over the loss in Cairo!

Deadprez: Strong showing promo-wise this week this match should be a hard-hitting contest!

Gina Romano: AND HIS OPPONENT! Accompanied to the ring by Koji Matsumura! Weighing in at 205 pounds! From Nagano, Japan. He is Nihon no sukui! Japan’s Salvation! KATSUROU EEEEEEE-NOOOOO!!!!

Gavin Kirkland: Still a newcomer he has been quite silent this week. Will this have an impact on the match?

Deadprez: One way to find out Gavin!

( ‘ Red Eye ‘ by NBA Youngboy plays over the PA system of World1 Theatre as the veteran is making his way to the ring sided with his manager. )

Gina Romano: ANNNND their opponent! From Toronto, Ontario, Canada but residing in Dallas, Texas! Accompanied to the ring by Londyn Zelaya! Weighing in at 210 pounds! He is The CHOSEN ONE! JOOOOOON KELLLLLL-TOOOOONNN!!

Gavin Kirkland: Another one who suffered the wrath of Ryan Wilson during the Scramble New Breed Match! Will he bounce back this week?

Deadprez: Always a favorite in every match he partakes in, the veteran will be in it to win it!

( Ding! Ding! DING! )

Eve: And this match is officially underway with all three men staring at each other-WOAH THE BLUEPRINT ON KATSUROU!!! JOHNSON WITH A QUICK AND SURPRISING JUMPING CUTTER ON ENO WHO WAS TRYING TO CLINCH WITH THE WRESTLING MACHINE!! Kelton Nearby Didn’t Expect Lucas To Do That the quickness of the Wrestling Machine was surprising, to say the least as Eno is rolling to the outside of the ring out for the moment. Jon charges first towards Lucas who ducks low and smacks Kelton with an enziguri for his attempt! Down goes the former 24-7 briefcase holder as Cage’s protégé looks to take control of the match early on! Ladies and Gentlemen this match is for a spot in Cash in the Vault let’s not forget it and it! Uppercut by Lucas followed by a quick neck breaker from the Wrestling Machine taking Kelton down as well! Lucas chains up with some ground game with an arm triangle keeping the veteran down he who tries to scamper quickly towards the nearest ropes to break the count and managed to do so! Lucas breaks the hold before getting to a vertical base not before slapping Kelton behind the head! He’s playing mind games apparently but will it pay off to humiliate the former Interwire Champion? Kelton gets up and throws a thumb into the eyes of the former New Breed Champion! Kelton quickly goes to work throwing a few fists to the face before locking arms and slam Lucas down with a quick snap suplex! Johnson remains floored as Kelton gets up and goes to the ropes! LIONSAULT! IT CONNECTS! He tries a cover!

Referee: ONE!

Gavin Kirkland: Lucas raises the shoulder!

Referee: Too early!

Eve: Perhaps so but it doesn’t seem to keep Kelton from trying as he gets Lucas up and whips him into a corner. He charges behind him, running clothesline in the corner before throwing some stiff-looking knife edge chops on the chest of his opponent! Kelton props Johnson up seating him up the top turnbuckle as he himself goes to the second! What does he have in mind for Luc-Oh No! He is picking him up in a powerbomb position! Will we see the triple non-release this early in the match! No! Johnson goes to town on Kelton’s head who lets go of Johnson and lands behind Kelton before hugging him and throw him back into a suplex! Kelton lands hard on his back and Lucas goes after him quickly as he goes for the ankle lock!! He got the ankle lock submission in! Kelton is yelling in pain but quickly he manages to get to the ropes as Lucas didn’t have enough good footing on the floor to not move when Kelton did. The official calls for Lucas to let go of Jon’s ankle but he yanks the Toronto native hard so he swings in the air and land on his face and stomach! Johnson with a message here he is ready for a fight!

Gavin Kirkland: Look behind Lucas!

Eve: ENO WITH A SURPRISE DROPKICK TO THE BACK OF JOHNSON’S HEAD SENDS THE MACHINE INTO THE ROPES! He bounces back and collides against Eno WHO GETS A BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEX FROM LUCAS!! DOWN GOES ENO WHO THOUGHT HE WAS BACK IN THE FIGHT! COVER BY LUCAS!

Referee: ONE! TWO!!

Gavin Kirkland: Eno Kicks Out!

Deadprez: Lucas didn’t hook the legs up enough, woozy from the dropkick! Smart move by him however on the return, quick thinking!

Eve: For sure Eno didn’t expect this as Lucas is standing on his knees looking at a stunned Katsurou and Kelton who is getting vertical unsure as to who to attack first. He goes to Eno, punching him in the face a few times before kicking him in the gut after getting him up and drill him down with a DDT! Eno is in big trouble as Johnson then goes topside he is calling for a 450 splash which connects! He goes to cover Eno!

Referee: ONE! TWO!!

Gavin Kirkland: KELTON BREAKS THE COUNT!

Deadprez: That was to be expected!

Referee: Kelton kicked the match into continuing longer as he landed his shot in the ribs of Lucas who rolled off of Eno clutching to his side. Kelton meanwhile picks up Eno who has yet besides that dropkick manage to do much offense as he is whipped with force into a corner before being pressed into it with a running knee strike. He then throws Katsurou into the ropes welcoming him with the modified sidewalk slam that drills the newcomer hard! Kelton then goes topside, to the nearest corner turnbuckle and looks down he is waiting for his moment before throwing himself into the air! TOP-ROPE CROSSBODY TO LUCAS WHO JUST GOT UP! AND HE FOLLOWS IT QUICKLY WITH A RUNNING POWER SLAM TO ENO WHO BARELY GOT BACK TO A VERTICAL BASE! KELTON IS IN CONTROL OF THE MATCH RIGHT NOW! He goes to Eno, picking him up throwing him in the ropes he aims for a clothesline but the rookie sensation throw in a running roundhouse kick that clips Kelton and gets him down! The veteran gets to his feet and gets an Uppercut for his effort which stuns him! Eno runs into the ropes looking for a springboard dropkick but he waits HE OVERSHOT AND KELTON CAUGHT HIM ON HIS SHOULDERS!! THE EFF-FIVE BY KELTON!!! ENO IS DRIVEN HARD INTO THE GROUND! JON WITH THE COVER!

Referee: ONE! TWO!!

Gavin Kirkland: LUCAS BREAKS THE COUNT!

Referee: He wasn’t going to allow Jon to make it to Cash in the Vault so easily!

Eve: Can we blame him? He wants to win it too! I am starting to feel bad for Eno though who has barely managed any offense so far in this match and it doesn’t seem to be about to happen either. Johnson throws a thumb to the eyes of Kelton to keep him at bay before whipping him into a corner, his shoulder smacking hard against the post! Jon will feel that one in the morning as Lucas goes to focus on Eno who is beginning to get up. Superkick from Johnson to Eno who reels back into the ropes and bounces into the ropes stumbling back towards Lucas WHO LOCKS IN THE SKULL CRUSHING FINALE!! IT CONNECTS!! LUCAS GOT THE WIN IN THE BAG!! BUT WAIT! KELTON GRABS HIM BY THE SHOULDERS AND THROWS HIM OUT OF THE RING! HE GOES FOR THE COVER HIMSELF!!!

Referee: ONE! TWO!!

Gavin Kirkland: LUCAS IS RUSHING BACK IN TO BREAK THE FALL!!

Referee: THREE!! JOHNSON IS TOO LATE!!

( DING!! DING!!! DING!!! )

( ‘ Red Eye ‘ by NBA Youngboy plays over the PA system of World1 Theatre as Kelton gets his arm raised in victory. Lucas looks pissed as he leaves the ring. )

Gina Romano: Here is your winner and a participant In The Cash In The Vault: The CHOSEN ONE! JOOOOOON KELLLLLL-TOOOOONNN!!

Gavin Kirkland: Lucas was so close to breaking the count it’s almost cruel! Especially considering both have the same finisher!

Deadprez: It’s all part of the game Gavin but he had a good match tonight regardless. He should be able to make something of this. Best of luck next time for Eno.

Eve: And congratulations to Jon Kelton, who has punched his ticket to Pain for Pride!

(Londyn raises the hand of Jon, before Jon points up at the briefcase above him, letting the world know he wants it.)

(The camera fades elsewhere.)

(The camera opens to see Kyra Phillips smiling, in the usual spot for her interviews, with the dark backdrop behind her.)

Kyra Phillips: Hello ladies and gentlemen, and welcome to another exclusive interview. My guest at this time, he just returned several weeks back at Grand Rampage, he is the longest reigning Answers World Champion in the company’s history, please welcome…Theron Nikolas!

(Theron sits across from Kyra as the once familiar smirk crosses his face. He’s sporting an old ‘God Emperor’ T-Shirt from his time as the Answers World Champion and a black jeather jacket over the top of it.)

Kyra Phillips: To start off, I just wanna rewind to your return back at Grand Rampage. How did it truly feel to return to the ring after over a year away, to a full capacity crowd?

Theron Nikolas: Truthfully – it’s no secret that everyone looks towards Grand Rampage trying to figure out all of the possibilities. They put their support in the corner of who they believe is going to find themselves the last person standing and book their ticket to the main event of Pain for Pride. But, the murmurs begin to surface. There’s always surprises on who’s going to throw their name into that proverbial hat and try to solidify their name in immortality forever. There wasn’t a name inside that arena that believed that I was going to show up. They didn’t have the chance to buy into the illusion that this company once portrayed that I was a bad person. I was always the hero that was once forced to do the bad things that nobody else was willing to do for the betterment of this company, and the fact that my return blew the roof of that arena was proof, not that I was missed. I was always going to be missed when I walked away after losing the Answers World Championship that I carried longer than any person in company history. It proved that I was always respected. I was always valued.

Kyra Phillips: Nobody had any idea what you were doing or where you were all this time. Did you ever plan to return to the ring at some point?

Theron Nikolas: I never left the ring. But, I understand that to people like you, Kyra – there’s no world in this business outside of this company. This company is this business. The world saw what I became after this company needed two of the best this company has ever had walk through the doors of this company needed to come together to rip that Answers World Championship away from me. I wasn’t the God Emperor. I was a man that put everything he could into making sure that the one World Championship that truly mattered more than the others was the TRUE main event of Pain for Pride. I spent so long with not only Dynasty, but this entire company on my shoulders that I needed to give myself to walk away. People love to throw themselves into the constant fires of war and find themselves burning down to nothing more than ashes. It’s the names that are constantly able to pick their moments that manage to create the greatest legacies. So, I walked away from this company, but I didn’t walk away from this business. A God Emperor doesn’t rule a section of the world. A God Emperor rules the entire thing, Kyra. I travelled the world. I conquered Europe. I conquered Japan. I did the exact same thing that I did here in EAW, and in the process I found new ways to evolve into something far greater than the man that left this company. That’s the scariest part about all of it. I walked through the doors of this company as a rookie. Minimal experience in a business that’s considered arguably harder than any other and continuously proved how special I was. If I was a man that accomplished what I did back then; as a man that proved that he’s smarter than every single person in this company. Imagine what I could possibly do in the future. The possibilities are endless. My first reign over this company was just the tip of the iceberg, and if it took the combined efforts of both Ryan Adams and Jamie O’Hara to stop me – who could possibly stop me now?

Kyra Phillips: I have to ask the major question here, Theron. You’ve always been someone that’s proven to always hold a plan. There’s always different motives in the moves that you make. You could have set your eyes back on the Answers World Championship that you once held, but instead have seemingly set your sights on your former friend, Jack Ripley. Your first night back on Showdown resulted in a heated confrontation between the both of you ending with you laying Jack Ripley out. The question I have to ask is; why?

Theron Nikolas: Jack likes to tell people that he’s put his feelings towards the 1% in the past, but let’s be honest; we both know he’s lying, Kyra. There’s always a reason when Jack Ripley stumbles. He constantly manages to hold the world in the palm of his hand and it slips through his fingers the moment that he tries to run with it. He doesn’t look back as a man that has left the past behind him; his eyes tell a different story. His eyes show his disdain. His hatred. His envy. This idea that I was moulded for success, while he was forced to scratch and claw his way towards everything that he’s managed to achieve. I don’t hold anything against Jack Ripley. I’ve cut down anybody that even looks like they’re going to try to stand against me. But, I gave Jack Ripley the chance to walk away and try to blaze his own trail and have you noticed the same constant circle that he finds himself travelling in? There’s instances of brilliance; moments where Jack Ripley begins to prove how talented he is. But, he then immediately stumbles. The ‘Straight Shooter’ overshadowed everyone to dominate his way to the 24/7 contract; managed to take hold of the PURE Championship, and did the exact same thing he did as the Answers World Champion. He fell the moment that he was forced to face an instance of adversity. You look back at the 1%. We were the collection of top tier Elitists. But, we always fought our own battles. There wasn’t an instance where I needed help to retain the Answers World Championship. Ryan Adams went to war with the entire Ava family on his own. As looked down upon as we were by the rest of the world, we continuously fought through our own merit. Can you imagine the talent that Jack Ripley could be if could completely immerse himself in what the “Straight Shooter” could be? Jack Ripley truly then becomes the REAL High Roller. He wouldn’t be a man that you settle for less than he deserves, or watches the same man that he BEAT for the Answers World Champion being handed a main event at Pain for Pride.

Kyra Phillips: So, this has been to help Jack Ripley?

Theron Nikolas: We can call it that. But, he needs to help himself. If this has to lead to the two of us standing against each other in order to help my friend to truly reach the level that he wants to be… then so be it.

Kyra Phillips: And what if, in your opinion, he doesn’t reach that level?

Theron Nikolas: Then he kneels. Just like Jamie O’Hara did. Just like Ronn Banks did. Just like everyone has.

Kyra Phillips: This is all the time that we have, Theron. I’d like to thank you for the chance to sit down and welcome you back to Showdown.

Theron Nikolas: My pleasure, Kyra.

Kyra Phillips: Back to you guys.

(The camera fades back to ringside as we see one last shot of Theron; the smirk on his face gone, now left with an almost emotionless look in his eyes.

(The camera cuts to Gina Romano in the ring.)

Gina Romano: THE FOLLOWING CONTEST IS SCHEDULED FOR…ONE FALL!!

Virtual Crowd: ONE FALL!!

(‘If Ya Smell’ By Adam Massacre plays to a thunderous ovation from the virtual fans as Woogieman steps out from behind the curtain, heading down to the ring with all the confidence in the world.)

Gina Romano: Introducing first! Hailing out of Jacksonville, Florida, weighing in at 260 pounds…THE WOOGIEMAN!!

Eve: Ya know, Woogie’s looking awfully confident for someone who’s about to step inside the ring with a man the caliber of Cage!

Gavin Kirkland: Cage may be an EAW Hall of Famer, but The Woogieman is a former Big Boogie Bhampion, not to mention, a future EAW Hall of Famer in his own right.

Eve: For once, Gavin, maybe you’re right, we shouldn’t question The Woog’s chance in this thing, the confident one can prove to have some tricks up his sleeve!

(Woogie settles in the ring, bouncing up and down, awaiting the arrival of his opponent in Cage, who makes his way down to the ring accompanied by his signature “Smells Like Teen Spirit” Nirvana theme song, clearly focused while looking a tad bit frustrated.)

Gina Romano: And his opponent! Hailing out of Edmonton, Alberta Canada, weighing in at 230 pounds…HE IS THE EDGECRUSHER…CAGE!!!

Eve: If you’re wondering why Cage has that look of frustration, I’d say it’s because things have not been necessarily going his way here on Showdown since returning.

Deadprez: Yeah, Cage has not been getting the results he’d like for the most part here on Showdown. However, he did manage to win a tag team match with Lucas Johnson about two weeks ago, he needs to build upon that momentum.

Eve: And hopefully he can, but I don’t know if Cage’s recent bad luck is due to lack of talent, I’d say more so due to possible lack of focus, maybe possible lack of motivation, I don’t know. The Hall of Famer needs to get himself out the rut he’s in and he looks to do that right now.

(Cage eyes Woogie down from the opposite corner as the referee signals for the bell to ring.)

(DING! DING! DING!)

Eve: THERE’S THE BELL, AND CAGE WASTES NO TIME HEADING TOWARDS WOOGIE! BUT THE WOOG ANTICIPATED CAGE AND CATCHES HIM IN A SCHOOL BOY ROLL UP!

ONNNNNEEEEEEEEEEE!!

TWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOO!!

Deadprez: CAGE NARROWLY MANAGES TO KICKOUT THERE BEFORE RUSHING BACK TO HIS FEET AND THROWING A KICK TO THE MIDSECTION OF WOOGIE! CAGE FOLLOWS THAT UP WITH A HEADBUTT THAT SENDS WOOGIE REELING BACK OVER TO THE ROPES!

Eve: CAGE BITES AT THE FOREHEAD OF WOOGIE WHILE HES LEANED UP AGAINST THE ROPES, JUST SHOWING SOME OF THAT SIGNATURE BRUTALITY WE’VE CAME TO ASSOCIATE HIM WITH BEFORE BOUNCING WOOGIE OFF THE ROPES! WOOGIE DOESNT REBOUND BACK, HOWEVER, HANGING TO THE ROPES, CAUSING CAGE TO CHARGE AT HIM, ONLY TO GET LOW BRIDGED OVER THE TOP ROPE!

Deadprez: CAGE LANDS ON HIS FEET AND GETS UP ON THE APRON, WOOGIE NOTICES THIS AND KNOCKS HIM OFF WITH A STRONG RIGHT HAND TO THE FACE! CAGE IS CLEARLY A LITTLE DISORIENTED EARLY ON HERE, WOOGIE TAKES FULL ADVANTAGE OF THAT, GETTING OUT ON A DIFFERENT SIDE OF THE RING BEFORE RUNNING AT CAGE, FULL SPEED AHEAD WITH A CLOTHESLINE, TAKING HIM DOWN!

Eve: WOOGIE SENDS CAGE BACK INTO THE RING BEFORE GOING IN HIMSELF, BUT WOOGIE WANDERS RIGHT INTO A BACKHAND FROM CAGE! WHICH IS FOLLOWED UP BY ANOTHER! THEN ANOTHER! THEN ANOTHER! CAGE SPINS AROUND BEFORE DAMN NEAR DECAPITATING WOOGIE WITH A DISCUS LARIAT! AND I THINK WOOGIE JUST PISSED THE EDGECRUSHER OFF HERE!

Deadprez: CAGE MOUNTS HIMSELF ON TOP OF WOOGIE BEFORE REIGNING DOWN SHOTS TO THE FACE! WOOGIE IS DOING THE BEST HE CAN TO COVER UP BUT THOSE HITS ARE DOING ANYTHING BUT MISSING! CAGE FINALLY DISMOUNTS HIMSELF FROM WOOGIE, KICKING HIM RIGHT IN THE STOMACH AREA AFTERWARDS, WHICH SENDS WOOGIE LOOKING TO RECUPERATE OVER IN THE CORNER, BACK AGAINST THE BOTTOM TURNBUCKLE!

Gavin Kirkland: AND POOR WOOGIE IS ON THE RECEIVING END OF STOMPS FROM CAGE, WHO PRESSES HIS FOOT INTO THE FACE OF WOOGIE, CAUSING THE REF TO INTERVENE, GIVING CAGE TIL THE COUNT OF FIVE TO RELENT!

Referee: ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR! FI-

Eve: CAGE FINALLY REMOVES HIS FOOT OFF OF WOOGIE AND DRAGS HIM TO THE CENTER OF THE RING BY HIS FOOT! CAGE CLIMBS TO THE TOP TURNBUCKLE, LEAPING OFF WITH A DIVING HEADBUTT THAT CONNECTS! WOOGIE LOOKS TO BE OUT AS CAGE MAKES THE COVER!

ONNNNEEEEEEEEEE!!

TWWWWOOOOOOOOOO!!

THHHRRRRRR-

Gavin Kirkland: WOOGIE SURVIVES!

Deadprez: Yeah, but I think you’re excluding some details there, Cage broke his own pin, perhaps looking to inflict more punishment on The Woog, maybe he wants to really send a message to the guys and gals in the back! Cage places Woogie inbetween his legs before lifting him up in a powerbomb position, BUT WOOGIE IS FIGHTING BACK, UNLOADING PUNCHES ON THE HEAD OF CAGE, WHO HAS NO CHOICE BUT TO PUT HIM DOWN!

Eve: WOOGIE TRIES TO CLUB THE BACK OF A DOUBLED OVER CAGE, BUT THE HALL OF FAMER SHOVES WOOGIE BACK INTO AND OFF THE ROPES! CAGE REMAINS BENT OVER, LOOKING FOR A POSSIBLE BACK BODY DROP! BUT WOOGIE STOPS THAT FROM HAPPENING, CATCHING CAGE WITH A SNAP DDT BEFORE KIPPING BACK UP TO HIS FEET! AND YOU CAN SEE THE CROWD, THEY’RE ELECTRIC FOR THE WOOG, WHO SIZES CAGE UP AS HE SLOWLY GETS TO HIS FEET!

Deadprez: THE BOTTO- NO! CAGE THROWS SOME BACK ELBOWS INTO THE FACE OF WOOGIEMAN, WHO GETS SPUN AROUND OFF THE IMPACT! CAGE NOW GETS HIM IN THE COQUINA CLUTCH! WOOGIE IS FLAILING THOSE ARMS AROUND, LOOKING FOR SOME SORT OF ESCAPE, BUT ITS NOT GONNA HAPPEN! THEY ARE THE CENTER OF THE RING AND CAGE NOW TAKES WOOGIE TO THE MAT BEFORE GRAPEVINING THE CHOKE!

Eve: WOOGIE IS FADING! BUT LOOK AT HIM! HES ELBOWING CAGE IN THE RIBS, WHICH BREAKS THE GRAPEVINE! AND WOOGIE TURNS THE COQUINA CLUTCH INTO A PIN!

Deadprez: NO WAY! YOU DON’T THINK! THE REFEREE QUICKLY SLIDES INTO POSITION!

ONNNEEEEEEEEE!!

TWWWWWOOOOOOOO!!

THHHHRRRREEEEEEEEEEE!!

(DING! DING! DING!)

Gina Romano: HERE’S YOUR WINNER…THE WOOGIEMAN!!

(‘If Ya Smell’ plays once more to a shocked yet loud reaction from the EAW fanbase, who can’t believe Woogie pulled off a win over Cage. Woogie doesn’t stick around to get his hand raised, however, quickly getting out of the ring as an irate Cage gets in the ref’s face, trying to verify that was really three.)

Eve: CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?! WOOGIE JUST GOT, QUITE POSSIBLY, THE BIGGEST WIN OF HIS EAW CAREER! I CANT BELIEVE IT, THE FANS CAN’T BELIEVE IT, CAGE CAN’T EVEN BELIEVE IT!

Gavin Kirkland: I BELIEVED IT! I BELIEVED IN WOOGIE ALL ALONG! :blessed:

Deadprez: SPEAKING OF WOOGIE, HE BETTER GET OUTTA HERE QUICK INSTEAD OF SHOWBOATING ON THE RAMP! BECAUSE CAGE IS LOOKING TO- WAIT A MINUTE!

Eve: THATS HARLOW! HARLOW JUST JUMPED WOOGIE FROM BEHIND AND IS NOW DELIVERING STOMPS TO HIS PRONE BODY!

Gavin Kirkland: THICCLOW!!! :blessed:

Eve: HARLOW PUTS THE STUNNED WOOGIE IN BETWEEN HER LEGS BEFORE HOOKING BOTH THE ARMS AND PLANTING HIM ON THE RAMP WITH  THE DIVINE COMEDY! THAT BUTTERFLY PILEDRIVER HAS WOOGIE HAS DOWN AND OUT!

Deadprez: BUT MEANWHILE INSIDE THE RING, CAGE GOT BLINDSIDED BY XAVIER WILLIAMS, WHO LAYS HIM OUT IN THE CENTER WITH A FINISHER OF HIS OWN IN THE DEATH’S DANCE!!

Eve: HARLOW AND XAVIER JUST LAID OUT THESE TWO FOR NO REASON OTHER THAN MAKING A STATEMENT, AND WHAT A STATEMENT THEY HAVE MADE! THESE TWO ARE DISGUSTED WITH THE STATE OF SHOWDOWN AND THIS ALLIANCE IS CERTAINLY GONNA BE A FORCE TO RECKONED WITH!

(Harlow slides in the ring and poses along with Williams over the downed body of Cage as the camera fades to a commercial break.)

(Commercial for a random hair care product featuring Jake Smith that nobody wants now that Jake scared the customers off.)

(The camera pans back into the arena as “Roll With Me” by Charli XCX hits as Andrea Valentine makes her way to the ring not looking in the best of moods.)

Gavin Kirkland: My queen is here! :blessed:  She seems as beautiful as ever despite being crushed to death.

Eve: Her along with Raven competed inside No Way Out, and both came up short as their fourth Beating Hearts sister Ms. Extreme came away with the win, but there was some more tension between the two it seemed, and judging by Andrea’s demeanor, things can’t be good of what we’re about to see.

(Andrea slides in the ring and grabs a microphone from the timekeeper.)

Andrea Valentine: I was SO close. I was mere inches away from headlining Pain for Pride for a second straight year and getting my moment. The moment that I deserved after carrying Voltage on my back the second half of last season. And this year, as everybody knows, I had been through a lot. From having my moment taken away from me, to my head being messed with, to me being blamed for something I didn’t do. I had one goal on my mind throughout my rehab on my ankle, and that was getting back to the main event of Pain For Pride, and at first, Grand Rampage was my opportunity, but that also got taken from me. People have their questions on why I did what I did after I was eliminated but again, no regrets from me because anybody else would have done the same thing, don’t fucking lie. So I swallow the hard pill on that one, and then No Way Out comes up, and that matchup with Darcy looked like a match made in heaven. I had the match won, up until my so called “bestie” had to stop that from happening. And to top it all off, I was crushed to death by a cell.

(Andrea sighs as she looks at the Pain For Pride logo hanging beside her.)

Andrea Valentine: And now what do I do? Another opportunity that I had my eyes set on gets taken from me, and now, I’m on the outside looking in with no clear direction of where to truly go. I don’t know if anybody is aware, but going from one of the most dominant World Champions in recent memory going into Pain for Pride, to having no direction one year later going into Pain for Pride isn’t a good feeling. At this point, I’m sick and tired of being sick and tired. Since I can’t focus on the Universal Women’s Championship, I might as well just get the non important stuff out of the way. Raven seems to have beef with me that ain’t going to get settled until we actually talk about it face to face, so “Bird Of Prey”, why don’t you come out here and join me.

(A few seconds pass by.)

Andrea Valentine: Come on. It’s not anything new to you to be stealing someone else’s spotlight. Let’s go.

(“In My Bones” by The Score plays briefly before Raven Roberts steps out from behind the curtain with a mic already in her hand.)

Raven Roberts: Do you actually hear yourself right now Andrea?

(Raven walks up the steps and steps foot inside the ring coming face to face with Andrea.)

Raven Roberts: You’re SERIOUSLY going to stand here and compare what we did to each other? You’re comparing me saving a match for myself when I was a legal competitor in the match and wanted the Pain for Pride main event just as much as you did, to you being a salty bitch who can’t accept defeat throwing me out of the Grand Rampage match when my back was turned? I mean, how dare you question just how much that match meant to me also. You go on and on about your hardships this season, but I had to fight just as big of an uphill battle as you did both in my career and in my personal life. I was in the Pain for Pride main event last season, but it just feels like I wasn’t there mentally, and you know the reason why. I’ve came back and I’ve put in the work to make it back to the main event. I didn’t waltz back in and just act like everything was supposed to be handed to me on a silver platter. I supported you during your rehab. I wanted you to come back stronger than ever, because I know how hard of a worker you are and how much you love to prove all your doubters wrong, and I know me nor anybody else wanted to see you go out the way you did, but ever since you came back, just like all season since you lost the EAW Championship, you’ve been a massive disappointment.

Andrea Valentine: Apparently you don’t know who you’re talking to. If there’s anybody who’s put in the work and deserves to have had that moment in Cairo, it’s me. I’m the woman who won back to back Extreme Elimination Chambers. I’m the woman who carried Voltage on her back during a very dark time as it was still in shambles from the Charlie Marr era. I’m the woman who didn’t take any shit and beat the Chairman to the point he could barely move. And of course, I’m the woman who walked into Pain for Pride the top dog of this company when nobody expected me to. I’m sorry for what happened to you in your personal life, but there’s a point you need to just put all that shit aside. It’s your own fault for failing against Minerva last season, because you let your emotions get the better of you, and from the looks of it, it’s been getting the better of you for the past few months. And yes, the situations are similar because I saw an opportunity and I took it. I know deep down you would have done the exact same thing, which you did back in Cairo, so there you go.

Raven Roberts: I thought you were one of the most intelligent people I’ve ever been in the ring with, but lately, it’s like talking to a brick wall. It was every woman for themselves, and I’ll be damned if I let anybody win a match I’m apart of, friend or not. But yeah, you are right about one thing. Maybe my emotions have been getting the better of me. I mean, hey, I’m not going to be in the main event of Pain for Pride again, and neither are you. So I’m at the point where I have zero patience and no fucks to give anymore, so how about I just lay your ass out right here, right now?

Andrea Valentine: You think I’m scared? Take one swing at me. I fucking dare you.

(“We Appreciate Power” by Grimes plays as Consuela Rose Ava makes her way to the ring. Raven and Andrea seem surprised Consuela is out here.)

Consuela Rose Ava: Look, this is just flat out getting ridiculous. What are you guys even arguing about? Both of you guys deserve to main event Pain for Pride again, but things don’t work out the way we want sometimes. I wanted more than anything to become Answers World Champion at Grand Rampage and walk in as champion, but that didn’t happen. Do you see me whining about it or arguing about it? No, I’m back on the grind, weighing my options, and will work harder to make sure I accomplish that goal in the future. I’ve said before that I just came off the best performance of my career, and I should NOT be playing the role of babysitter between the two of you. You both are great friends and most importantly, you both are ADULTS, so please start acting like it so we can all move on with our careers instead of arguing about things that don’t hold any real meaning.

Raven Roberts: Consuela, I appreciate it, but like I told you a few weeks ago, it’s a lost cause. Andrea is in her own little world and cares for nobody but herself. I’m sorry, but I don’t care who you are, but when you fuck with me and my career, you will pay the price and I will go the extra mile to make sure it happens. You’re just out here wasting your breath.

Andrea Valentine: Do you feel you have something to prove perhaps? Prove you’re the superior Beating Hearts sister? People always have put me above both of you, and even Camille.

(Raven rolls her eyes.)

Consuela Rose Ava: This is just a massive headache. Both of you got crushed by a cell and almost got killed because of it, and you’re still going at each other’s throats with this childish nonsense. Every single one of us had an equal purpose in that stable, and we accomplished it and took Voltage by storm. You guys even competed side by side in War Games with one another and walked out victorious, nobody is better than one or the other.

Andrea Valentine: You too Consuela. Does it ever cross your mind people thought of you as the “weak link”? Last I checked, you weren’t competing with us in that War Games match, and minus one handout World Championship match, you’ve always been the one of the four of us who was always just stuck in the middle, never seen to be a future World Champion.

Consuela Rose Ava: I don’t know what game you’re trying to play with that, but like I told both of you earlier, I am NOT playing peacemaker for much longer between the two of you. I for sure am not the pushover people always said I used to be. Piss me off enough, I won’t be afraid to retaliate.

Andrea Valentine: Just stay out of this Consuela, this has nothing to do with you.

Consuela Rose Ava: I’m making it my business. I don’t want you guys at each others throats forever. I do have one final idea to try getting you two on the right page.  I’m sick and tired of this mess, and it’s time we all need to move on, and we can’t do that unless we take some drastic measures. So whether either of you like it or not, next week, you guys are fixing these dumb issues you guys got going on with each other, and then, we can finally focus on what our paths are going to be for Pain for Pride, because all three of us have bigger things to worry about than this. The pettiness stops NOW!

(Consuela leaves the ring and walks up the ramp and exits the arena as both Andrea and Raven exchange looks with one another, as the camera fades to black.)

(Commercial break advertising Pain For Pride!)

(Showdown comes back from commercial to see Gina in the ring smiling waiting to announce the next match.)

Gina Romano: Ladies and Gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for ONE FALL!!

(“It Has Begun” by Starset blasts through the curtain as the virtual crowd immediately ERUPT with a chorus of boos as Xavier Williams slowly makes his way through the curtain with Harlow Reichert. The arrogance is immediately evident on the face of Xavier Williams as he wraps his arm over the shoulder of Harlow before kissing her on the forehead. Xavier reveals his brand new gold and white attire with “BITW” written down the left side of his tights before they begin to make their way down to the ring.)

Gina Romano: Introducing first residing from Pensacola, Florida, weighing in tonight at TWO HUNDRED AND TWENTY POUNDS!!! He is being accompanied to the ring by “Miss No Fucks Given”, Harlow Reichert! He is the self professed “BEST… IN THE WORLD!”… XAVIER WIIIIIILLLLIAAAAMMSSSS!!!

Eve: There have been so many people that have openly said that this man’s best days are behind him. I said it as he made his arrival during the Battle of Egypt event a week ago; it only seemed like it was a matter of time before everything that Xavier had seemingly buried away came to the surface and the person that he once prided himself so much on being returned. He may not be proud of how that match at Grand Rampage against Jack Ripley may have turned out, but it very well may have been the best thing for him.

Deadprez: Potentially. We watched a reinvigorated Xavier Williams make quick work of Strawberry Steve; openly saying during that week leading into their match that he wanted better competition and having to face someone he looked so far down on was insulting. Tonight, he has been given his wish in the form of the Interwire Champion.

Gavin Kirkland: I’ve been waiting for this all night! LOOK AT HER!

(Both Xavier and Harlow make their way up the steps with Xavier entering the ring and Harlow standing on the apron. The two make their way across to the same corner as Xavier makes his way up to the middle turnbuckle. The camera catches a shot of the two posing together as “It Has Begun” fades out. Xavier looks back over his shoulder as “Runnin’” by 21 Savage & Metro Boomin hits as the crowd roars with a THUNDEROUS ovation as Bronson Daniels confidently makes his way through the curtain. He has the Interwire Championship around his waist as he stands in the ring looking down to the ring where both Xavier and Harlow wait. He takes the Interwire Championship from around his waist and raises it high into the air as the virtual crowd erupts again.)

Gina Romano: Introducing his opponent residing from Brooklyn, New York, weighing in tonight at TWO HUNDRED AND TEN POUNDS!!!.. HE IS THE INTERWIRE CHAMPION!!!! “THE GAME CHANGER”…. BRONSON DAAAAAAAAAANIELLLLLSS!!!

Eve: There’s no ignoring the roll that this match has been on since Road to Redemption. He has an incredible showing back at King of Elite against the then Answers World Champion, Jack Ripley before going onto challenging and defeating the former Interwire Champion, Ronan Malosi for that very championship! Tonight he has the chance to continue to solidify himself as one of the top prospects in this entire company by defeating a former World Champion and Hall of Famer!

Deadprez: A couple of weeks ago I would have put all of my money on the Interwire Champion to beat Xavier Williams. Tonight, with Pain for Pride looming around the corner, aren’t going to look at losing as an option. With Xavier’s new mentality, a loss tonight could destroy it all while the Interwire Champion isn’t going to want to look towards his first championship defense against Dray Fontana and MITSUBACHI with a loss on his record.

Gavin Kirkland: Xavier can do whatever he wants if it means that I get to see Thicclow as often as possible 😍😍

(Bronson enters the ring and immediately walks over to Xavier Williams who stands in the opposite corner to where Bronson entered with Harlow sitting on the top rope behind him. Bronson raises the Interwire Championship with only brings back that smirk back to the face of the self professed “Best in the World”. Harlow makes her leave out the ring over the top rope as the referee backs Bronson back before calling for the bell.)

Eve: There’s a big chance that we’re about to see something special here on Showdown!

(Ding! Ding! Ding!)

Eve: The bell rings and this non title contest is officially underway! Bronson Daniels immediately steps forward to the middle of the ring, but Xavier instead decides to begin circling around the ring. There’s no chance that Xavier is going to willingly allow the Interwire Champion to dictate how the opening of this contest is going to go. The two finally lock up and Xavier’s able to take control with a side headlock! Bronson is quickly able to twist out of it and tries to surprise Xavier Williams by pulling him into a short arm clothesline, but Xavier ducks underneath and locks the waist – AND LAUNCHES BRONSON DANIELS ACROSS THE RING! The throw was more of a release takedown, but an early message has been sent! It’s no secret that Xavier’s going to hold the power advantage; he’s so deceivingly strong so Bronson is going to have to be smart with his gameplan. Xavier is going to take full advantage of any mistakes that he makes.

Deadprez: Bronson gets back onto his feet and they waste no time locking back up in the center of the ring! Xavier takes advantage again with another side headlock and Bronson is able to once again twist out of it! Bronson immediately learns from his previous mistakes and this time fires a kick to the inside of the knee of Xavier Williams before pulling him in and taking him down to the canvas with a headlock takedown! Xavier is quickly able to use his legs to drag Bronson’s head back and free himself, but Bronson Daniels kips his way out of it and is back to his feet! Xavier sits straight up and Bronson tries to take his head off with a kick! Xavier ducks! Bronson with a standing moonsault! Xavier rolls out of the way and Bronson lands on his feet! Bronson steps forward, but Xavier shoots back to his feet and drives his shoulder under his ribs, driving him straight back into the corner! That smirk returns to the face of the former World Champion as he keeps Bronson trapped before slowly letting him free.

Gavin Kirkland: Xavier definitely seems like he’s a step ahead of the Interwire Champion so far tonight! Xavier backs away from Bronson and invites him back to the middle of the ring, and I believe that the scowl on the face of Bronson tells a major story here right now. He knows that Xavier has gotten the better of him twice now, but he can’t allow himself to lose the same focus he came into this match with. Xavier wants to get into the head of Bronson Daniels, forcing him to make the mistakes that he doesn’t usually make. Bronson takes a deep breath, calming himself down before taking a step forward. The two look to lock up for a third time, but this time Bronson shoots for the leg! He has it! Bronson has the leg of Xavier Williams, and Xavier with an enziguri! No! Bronson’s able to duck underneath AND LOCKS IN AN ANKLE LOCK! Xavier knows the predicament that he’s in and instantly rolls through! Bronson is sent out of the ring and Xavier looks to pick up some momentum! BUT, BRONSON SHOOTS BACK INTO THE RING AND CUTS XAVIER WILLIAMS OFF WITH A JUMPING BACK ELBOW!

Eve: Xavier rolls straight out of the ring; the point of Bronson’s elbow caught Xavier directly in the mouth! Bronson doesn’t look finished as Xavier turns back towards the ring! TOPE SUICIDA! Bronson Daniels flies through the ropes and sends Xavier Williams crashing back into the barricade! The Interwire Champion wasting no time, rolling Xavier Williams back into the ring and makes his way back up onto the apron! Xavier tries to shake out the cobwebs as he pushes himself back to his feet AS BRONSON SPRINGBOARDS OFF THE TOP ROPE! AND TAKES XAVIER DOWN WITH A CROSSBODY! THE COVER!

ONE!!!… TW-KICKOUT!!!

Deadprez: Xavier kicks out just after one as Bronson Daniels attempts the first cover of this contest! Xavier’s already trying to push his way back to his feet, but that’s as far as the Interwire Champion allows him to get. Bronson with the STIFF shoot kick to the chest of Xavier! Bronson looks for a second, but Xavier’s able to catch the leg! Xavier pushing himself back to his feet with that leg of Bronson Daniels trapped! Bronson knows that he isn’t in the best of positions – as Xavier swings the leg down and fires with a spinning back kick! Bronson clutches straight for his stomach and Xavier follows with a kick of his own to the chest! That looked to stun Bronson as Xavier follows with a kick to the outside of the right knee! Xavier grabs Bronson by the arm and sends him into the corner! Leaping Back Elbow! Xavier returns the earlier shot with a perfectly directed elbow to the jaw! Bronson Daniels stumbles out of the corner and Xavier takes him down to the canvas with a snapmare!

Gavin Kirkland: Blood trickling from the mouth of Bronson Daniels as Xavier hits the ropes, and drives both feet straight into the face of Bronson Daniels with a low dropkick! Xavier shoots back to his feet and opts not to attempt a cover, even though he has the Interwire Champion down! Xavier stands over Bronson Daniels and presses his boot right into his head, forcing it down into the canvas! The referee immediately pushes away, but that has to be another message. Xavier Williams has him exactly where he wants him!

Eve: That determination still hasn’t left the eyes of the downed Bronson Daniels. Xavier is allowing Bronson to get back to his feet through his own merit; stalking as the Interwire Champion does so. Bronson is back to his feet – AND XAVIER IMMEDIATELY MEETS HIM WITH A RIB SHATTERING CHOP TO THE CHEST! Bronson gritting his teeth, trying to absorb the blow, but there’s no doubt that he felt absolutely every piece of it! Xavier grabs Bronson by the arm and sends him back into the corner, looking to follow! But, Bronson is able to stop himself and pop back over the head of Xavier! Xavier turns and BRONSON FIRES WITH A CHOP OF HIS OWN! Bronson with a forearm! A European Uppercut! Bronson with rapid fire strikes to Xavier Williams! Bronson sends Xavier across the ring into the opposite corner and looks to follow! Bronson Daniels with a Monkey Flip! Wow! Xavier lands on his feet!

Gavin Kirkland: He seems to have an answer for everything!

Deadprez: Xavier turns as Bronson shoots back to his feet and charges forward! Xavier swings for a wild roundhouse kick, but Bronson ducks underneath! Bronson locks the waist of Xavier Williams and sends him overhead with a German Suplex! Xavier dropped on the back of his neck as Bronson Daniels finally has an opportunity to put something together!

Eve: That was a BAD landing for the EAW Hall of Famer, grabbing straight for the back of his neck and you can see the concern on the face of Harlow Reichert who’s watching ringside! Xavier stumbles back to his feet; you can see him tensing his hands, possibly the effects of being dropped on the back of his neck! But, Bronson Daniels sends him crashing back into the corner with a Shotgun Dropkick to the moment that he gets back to his feet! Xavier staggers back out of the corner, dropping back down to his knees! Bronson grabs both of his arms AND DRIVES HIS KNEE RIGHT INTO THE FACE OF XAVIER WILLIAMS WITH THAT COUPLE GOALS! XAVIER SLUMPS BACK IN A HEAP AS BRONSON DANIELS COVERS!

ONE!!!!!… TWO!!!!!… KICKOUT!!!!

Deadprez: Xavier gets the shoulder up, but Bronson doesn’t look like he’s surprised! Bronson latches onto the arm and transitions! Bronson traps the right arm with his legs, trying to trap the left under his own! He does! Xavier’s arms are trapped and he has nowhere to go! Bronson with an elbow to the head! A second! A third! Repeated rapid fire elbows to the head of the trapped Xavier Williams! The referee checks on Xavier Williams, but Bronson Daniels stops and transitions! Bronson keeps a hold of that right arm and rolls with Xavier Williams – BEAUTIFULLY TRANSITIONING INTO A TRIANGLE CHOKE! THIS IS BRILLIANT FROM THE INTERWIRE CHAMPION!

Eve: Bronson Daniels has this incredible ability to adapt in every one of his matches! Xavier seemingly had a plan for everything that he threw at him early in this contest and in return Bronson might not have changed his offense, but instead changed the pace of it! He stopped giving Xavier the chance to react! You can see that Xavier still has enough wherewithal to use his other arm to release some of the pressure on that corroded artery, but this still forces Xavier to use a tremendous amount of energy to try to get out of this and gives Bronson plenty of time to recover! Xavier knows the predicament that he’s in and he’s trying not to panic! Xavier’s able to get to his feet, pushing Bronson onto his shoulders!

ONE!!!!… TWO!!!!….

Gavin Kirkland: Xavier doesn’t hold the cover instead POWERING Bronson up into the air! But, Bronson knows what’s coming next, instantly letting go of the hold and dropping back to his feet and drives his knee into the midsection of Xavier Williams! Bronson grabs onto both arms, looking for another couple goals, but Xavier drops back and sends Bronson rolling out of the ring under the bottom rope! Bronson shoots back into the ring, but Xavier decides that it’s time to get a little distance between the two of them and rolls straight out of the ring himself! Xavier has definitely been put off of his game by the Interwire Champion! The referee begins his count as Xavier puts his hands up telling him that we do this at his pace!

Deadprez: Look at Bronson!

Eve: Bronson Daniels pushing past the referee and vaults himself over the top rope onto Xavier Williams! No – WOW! XAVIER CAUGHT HIM IN MID AIR IN A GUTWRENCH! XAVIER DEADLIFTS BRONSON DANIELS UP INTO THAT POWERBOMB POSITION AND DRIVES HIM SPINE FIRST INTO THE END OF THAT TABLE! Xavier rolls straight back into the ring and tells the referee to begin his count! The Interwire Champion’s spine jarring in pain as Xavier remains on the canvas using every opportunity he has to regain his bearings.

Deadprez: I think Xavier may be happy with a countout victory here! The referee’s count is quickly getting closer to ten as Bronson Daniels begins to will himself back towards the ring! I couldn’t imagine the pain that has to be going through the back of Bronson Daniels after being driven into the edge of our table! Xavier’s back to his feet watching Bronson! The referee is at a count of 8! 9! BRONSON MAKES IT BACK INTO THE RING! AND THE MOMENT HE DOES XAVIER WILLIAMS ALMOST TAKES HIS HEAD OFF WITH A ROUNDHOUSE KICK! BRONSON IS DOWN IN A HEAP AND XAVIER CALLS FOR THE END! XAVIER CALLING BRONSON BACK TO HIS FEET! I don’t know how Bronson is getting back up; it may be nothing more than instinct at this point! Bronson is back to a knee as XAVIER SPRINGBOARDS OFF THE MIDDLE ROPE! SPRINGBOARD ASHES OF THE PHOENIX!!! NO, BRONSON CATCHES HIM AND BLOCKS IT!!! Bronson rears Xavier’s head back and tries to power him up into the air! But, Xavier uses the momentum to float back over the shoulder of the Interwire Champion! Bronson turns as Xavier looks for that Ashes of the Phoenix again! Bronson pushes him into the ropes!

Gavin Kirkland: Xavier rebounds straight back into a jumping knee from Bronson Daniels! Xavier falls back into the ropes! CHROME HEART T- NO! XAVIER CAUGHT HIM IN MID ROTATING IN THAT ASHES OF THE PHOENIX! THIRD TIME’S THE CHARM AND XAVIER WILLIAMS DRIVES BRONSON DANIELS DOWN INTO THE CANVAS WITH THAT JUMPING CUTTER! XAVIER FLOATS OVER INTO THE COVER!!!

ONE!!!!!!… TWO!!!!!!…. THRE-

Eve: WOW! BRONSON DANIELS BARELY GETS HIS FOOT ON THE ROPE IN TIME! You could see that Xavier Williams was inches away from beating the Interwire Champion! Xavier sits there with his eyes on the referee as Harlow screams out to finish him! And it looks like the two of them are on the same page! Xavier forces Bronson back to his feet and pulls him in! Both Xavier and Harlow stand over the downed Bronson Daniels and share a kiss before they begin to make their leave to boos from the virtual crowd watching.)

Eve: What a match put on by these two! A HUGE victory for Xavier Williams beating the Interwire Champion!

Deadprez: Both of them hit each other with everything that they could muster; it wasn’t a technical masterpiece, that was a fight! Either of them could have walked away tonight, but it was the savvy veteran who walked out tonight with that victory!

Gavin Kirkland: This may be the saddest part of the entire night. You’re allowed to stay out here all night, Harlow! I have a seat right next to me!

(The two stand on the stage and share one last kiss before looking back down to the ring as Bronson Daniels who clutches onto the Interwire Championship while recovering before the camera fades elsewhere.)

Remember, this is for a Unique Opportunity AND because of Triple Threat rules, NO DISQUALIFICATIONS! What is Dray doing!? What is Dray doing!?

Gina Romano: THE WINNER OF THE ULTIMATE OPPORTUNITY MATCH! BRONSON DANIELS!!!!!!!!!!

(‘Nightcrawler’ by Travis Scott ft. Swae Lee & Chief Keef as Bronson rolls off MITSUBACHI holding his ankle in pain as Dray Fontana slams the mat in anger. MITSUBACHI slowly stirs holding his head as all three men left it in the ring.)

Eve: BRONSON DANIELS DID IT! He was hurt, on one leg but he had enough to strike MITSUBACHI with that vicious elbow and take him down for the three count! Dray was down long enough but he almost made the save and now we see none other than Bronson Daniels with a Unique Opportunity! Here are the medical officials checking him out, the referee raising his hand, point at Bronson.

(The camera switches back to the current day at the announce desk.)

Eve: What a match that was, and it turns out, it’s not going to be a triple threat match anymore. Both men say they deserve a one on one shot, and both have put their spots on the line next Friday on Dynasty. Tune in to find out who challenges Bronson Daniels at Pain for Pride.

(The camera cuts elsewhere.)

(The camera cuts to the back where Bethany Blue is seen in her locker room, preparing for her match later on tonight against Andrea Valentine before slinging the Specialists Championship over her shoulder and speaking into the camera with a smile on her face, taking a deep breath before she speaks, looking to reflect.)

Bethany Blue: I’m finally Specialists Champion, I’m marrying my soulmate, COVID vaccines are working, and Pain For Pride is on the horizon, life is good, and only made better when I think about the journey I went through to capture this title. Because one year ago, Grand Rampage, I wasn’t so fortunate to win it. No, I was bested that night by Darcy May Morgan, not to mention, devastated, so much so that I really took a step back after that match, I really started to question myself and if I even belonged in the wrestling business. But overtime I stopped letting those negative thoughts build up in my head, overtime I came to an understanding that, whether people like it or not, I’m one of the best here on Showdown, EAW even. And when that realization set in, it made it all the less difficult to tell Hurricane Hawk to his face, I’m going to Pain For Pride and ending this season as champion. A champion who has been molded by their belief in themself, by their belief in their abilities, by their passion, by their commitment to this business. All things that helped will me through last year. Because I’m not gonna sugar coat it, last year, I embarrassed myself. I had failed Answers World and Tag Team title opportunities, there were losses that shouldn’t have even happened in the first place, I was beaten, battered, bruised, burned, yet still stand here unbroken despite having to balance a wrestling career with a medical career, and despite having to go through break-ups, humiliation by people who I cared for and even loved, I was even wrestling in gelatin and mud matches, something someone the likes of Ronan Malosi would probably degrade himself to, but I did it all for one reason and one reason only.

(Bethany looks down at her championship and back to the camera.)

Bethany Blue: To climb and to advance the proverbial “corporate ladder” here in EAW, a process which wasn’t all bad. Because it was there I got to start the relationship between me and my wonderful fiancée Alexis Chambers. I love her, but I also love the feeling I got at Battle of Egypt. Not just because I got to beat a champion the caliber of Constance Blevins, not just because I finally got that monkey off my back from a year ago, but oddly enough, because of the championship’s new design. I didn’t just see this for all it’s glamour, I saw this title as a new beginning. A new beginning that had Bethany Blue at the forefront. Because EAW knew, they KNEW I wasn’t gonna fail that night, and how could I? Constance Blevins is a great competitor, but she made a fatal mistake going up against me. She got cocky, she got a tad bit arrogant, which did open my eyes, just affirming to me that it was my time. My time to carry this championship, and my time to have my first real moment at Pain for Pride, an event where I’m looking to take on anyone and everyone to get my first in a long line of victims in this championship reign. Because this title isn’t just a pass for me to sit back and relax, this title is only something that’s gonna light a fire under me even more. Because I’m out to prove my words to be true. I’m one of the best wrestlers here, and soon, I’m gonna be one of the most dominant champions in this title’s lineage. And that may be a big thing to place on my own shoulders, but if anyone can follow through with it, it’s me. And if any of you carry any doubts about that, tune into the main event.

Bethany Blue: Because it’ll be there I take on Andrea Valentine, someone who’s been EAW World Champion, and someone who’s done exactly what I’m aspiring to do in being a dominant champion in her own right. Because at one point, she held this title for 190 days, some are fortunate to hold a title for that long, but people like Andrea have the talent to. And if, no, WHEN I beat her tonight, I prove I carry that same talent. But cmon, that’s not only my main motivator. Do you think the doc really wants to kick off her reign lying on the mat, looking up at the lights? That isn’t the kind of new beginning I’m looking for. I’m looking for one where perception changes. Because people used to see Bethany Blue versus Andrea Valentine and they laughed. Because at that time, they thought I was a joke, they thought I was a farce. While those people have been narrowed, they haven’t all been shut up. And that’s what I look to do tonight, prove all the remaining doubters and the naysayers wrong, because Andrea Valentine is just a speed bump on my road to Pain for Pride, and I’m laughing all the way there and to anyone that thinks they can dare topple me. Because like I said, I’m welcoming any and every challenger. I want someone to step up, I want an equally better foe, because it means that the doc is an equally better champion. Constance may have helped elevate this title, but I’m gonna send it all the way to the stratosphere.

(Bethany keeps a confident smile on her face, making sure the camera catches a final good glimpse of the championship before she heads back into her preparation for the match tonight with a look that screams nothing but focus as the camera fades to black and heads elsewhere.)

Gina Romano: THE FOLLOWING CONTEST IS SCHEDULED FOR ONE FALL!

Virtual Crowd: ONE FALL!

Gina Romano: AND IT IS A CASH IN THE VAULT QUALIFYING MATCH!!

( ‘ Raise The Lights Up’ by The Siege, hits as James Ranger walks out with a confident grin on his face as the Virtual Crowd gives him a mixed reaction )

Gina Romano: INTRODUCING FIRST FROM LONDON, ENGLAND, WEIGHING IN AT TWO-HUNDRED FORTY-THREE POUNDS, HE IS THE BLACK MAMBA…..JAAAAAAAAAAAAAMMMMMMMMMESSSSSSSS RANNNNNNNNNNNNNNGEEEEEEEEEEEEERRRRR!!

(‘ Raise The Lights Up ‘ by The Siege stops as ‘ Smoke & Drive ‘ by Machine Gun Kelly plays as Justin Windgate walks down the ramp and into the ring receiving a huge positive reaction from the Virtual Crowd )

Gina Romano: AND HIS OPPONENT, FROM DETROIT MICHIGAN, HE IS THE XTREME CLASSIC….. JUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUSTTTTTTTIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNN  WIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNNNDDDDDDDGAAAAAAAAAAATEEEEEEEEE!!!!

( Ding! Ding! Ding! )

DeadPrez: Justin Windgate and James Ranger circle on another, before James Ranger shoots for a takedown knocking Justin Windgate off his feet placing him back first on the mat, and now James Ranger mounts Justin Windgate and he drives his elbow into the face of Justin Windgate!!!

Eve: James Ranger had the opportunity of a lifetime a few months ago at Road To Redemption to challenge Consuela Rose Ava for the Interwire Championship, but that was all blown apart when Justin Windgate cashed in his 24/7 Contract to turn the match into a triple threat, where he scored a decisive victory over James, to win the Championship. It looks like James Ranger is attempting to score a measure of revenge as he continues sending punches and elbows to Justin Windgate, who up until this point has managed to block majority of them–

Gavin Kirkland: — ACTUALLY JUSTIN WINDGATE PUSHES JAMES RANGER OFF OF HIM AND MAKES IT BACK TO A KNEE— BUT HE’S MET WITH A SWIFT SUPERKICK TO THE JAW FROM JAMES RANGER WHO CONTINUES HIS ASSAULT ON THE FORMER CHAMPION!

DeadPrez: James Ranger has something to prove here tonight, he’s trying to prove he’s every bit Justin Windgates equal, as he drops down for the pin on Windgate!

ONE!!!

TW-

Eve: NO WINDGATE GETS THE SHOULD UP! James Ranger picks Windgate up and whips him into the corner– pursuing after him and connects with an elbow to the head that absolutely rattles Justin Windgate, who’s struggling to keep his balance at this point. James Ranger has been all over Justin Windgate in this match!

Gavin Kirkland: And now James Ranger backs away he’s going for a repeat—James charges in and…CONNECTS WITH ANOTHER ELB— NO! JUSTIN WINDGATE DUCKS THE ELBOW AND WRAPS HIS ARM AROUND THE NECK OF JAMES RANGER—URANAGE FROM JUSTIN WINDGATE!

DeadPrez: JUSTIN WINDGATE ABSOLUTELY FLOORS JAMES RANGER— AND THIS IS THE MOMENTUM SHIFT JUSTIN WINDGATE NEEDED AS HE GATHERS HIS BEARING, HE’S BEGGING JAMES RANGER TO GET BACK UP TO HIS FEET… AND JAMES OBLIGES AS JUSTIN WINDGATE CHARGES AT HIM FULL SPEED— JUSTIN WINDGATE LOWERS HIS SHOULDER AND SPEARS JAMES RANGER!!

Eve: James Ranger may have been broken in half by that spear, and now it’s Justin Windgate who’s on the attack, as it’s Justin now who picks James Ranger up and whips him into the ropes, Justin waits for James to bounce off, but James holds himself back as Justin charges at James— CLOTHESLINE OVER THE TOP ROP— NO JAMES RICOCHETS OFF THE ROPE AND GOES FOR A CLOTHESLINE OF HIS OWN AS WELL—- BOTH MEN CONNECT WITH CLOTHESLINES KNOCKING EACH OTHER DOWN!

Gavin Kirkland: Both of these men obviously want to be in the Cash In The Vault qualifier but only one of them can walk away from this match victorious.

DeadPrez: Both men manage to make it back to their feet and they’re trading punches now. Right from Windgate. Left from Ranger. Right, Left, Right, Left! Right! Right! LOOK IT’S WINDGATE GETTING THE BEST OF JAMES RANGER NOW AS HE SENDS PUNCH AFTER PUNCH AFTER PUNCH TO THE FACE AND TEMPLE OF JAMES RANGER, WHO’S TRYING HIS HARDEST TO FEND OFF THE SHOTS, BUT JUSTIN WINDGATE WILL NOT BE DENIED!

Eve: OH WOW! A hard right from Justin Windgate sends James Ranger down to a knee— and Windgate follows it up with a BASEMENT SUPERKICK! Completely shattering  James Rangers jaw as Justin Windgate hooks the leg for the pin!

ONE!!

TWO!!

THR—

Gavin Kirkland: KICKOUT FROM JAMES RANGER! James Ranger is obviously a man with a lot to prove, and that kickout from him speaks wonders to his cause. But it he doesn’t manage to put together some offense fast, Justin Windgate is going to run all over him.

DeadPrez: And that seems to be exactly what  Justin Windgate wants to do— Justin Windgate grabs James Ranger—- RUN IT UP… MODIFIED RUN IT UP AND IT CONNECTS— IT CONNEC— WAIT!!!!

Eve: NO! JAMES RANGER USES HIS MUSCLE TO KEEP JUSTIN WINDGATE IN THAT POSITION AS HE COUNTERS THE RUN IT UP INTO THE SUNSET FINISHER!!! THE NORTHERN LIGHT BOMB CONNECTS! AND THAT’S EXACTLY WHAT JAMES RANGER NEEDED TO HAPPEN TO EVEN KEEP HIMSELF IN THE MATCH!

Gavin Kirkland: THAT WAS A GENIUS LEVEL COUNTER BY JAMES RANGER WHO HOOKS THE LEG OF JUSTIN WINDGATE! THIS MATCH IS OVER!

ONE!!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE—-

DeadPrez:  NO! SOMEHOW SOMEWAY JUSTIN WINDGATE JUST BARELY MANAGES TO ESCAPE THE THREE COUNT! THIS MATCH CONTINUES!

Eve: The look on James Ranger’s face is a look of absolute shock and disgust! He can’t stand Justin Windgate, and he can’t stand the fact that he can’t put Justin away!

Gavin Kirkland: I think Jame’s knows exactly how to put Justin away… I think he’s been biding time. James picks up the downed Justin Windgate and kicks him in the midsection before interlocking his arms…NOON DOUBLE. NOON DOUBLE CONNECTS. James Ranger just spiked Justin Windgates head off the canvas and Justin Windgate might be out cold! JUST PIN HIM JAMES AND EARN YOUR OPPORTUNITY TO BE AT PAIN FOR PRIDE!

DeadPrez: I think James is doubting if that was enough… James keeps looking back at Justin Windgate and the turnbuckle. I think James has something evil planned! James finally convinces himself to go up top— but did he give Justin Windgate too much time to recover? James Ranger is gingerly climbing up to the top turnbuckle. And there he is. James Ranger perches himself on the top turnbuckle and takes a deep breath before launching himself into the stratosphere!! ADVENT DAWN!!!! THE SHOOTING STAR DOUBLE STOMPING FOOT PRESS CONNEC—–

Eve: OH MY GOD!!!!!

Gavin Kirkland: —

DeadPrez: NO…. JUSTIN WINDGATE FORCES HIMSELF OFF THE CANVAS JUST IN TIME TO CATCH JAMES RANGER WITH THE CLASSIC ENDING! JUSTIN WINDGATE JUST SNATCHED JAMES RANGER OUT OF THE AIR !!!  JUSTIN WINDGATE HOOKS THE LEG!!

ONE!!!!

TWOOOOOOO!!!!!!!

THHHHRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!

( Ding! Ding! Ding! )

Gina Romano: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN HERE IS YOUR WINNER, AND THE MAN MOVING ON TO PARTICIPATE IN THE CASH IN THE VAULT MATCH AT PAIN FOR PRIDE FOURTEEN…. JUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUSSSSSTTTTTTTIIIIIINNNN  WIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNNDDDDDDDGGGGGGGGAAAAAAATEEEEEEEEEE!!!!

( ‘ Smoke & Drive ‘ by Machine Gun Kelly plays as Justin Windgate celebrates his win as the World 1 Theatre virtual crowd cheers him on )

DeadPrez: It was a hard fought effort by BOTH of these men here tonight. James Ranger definitely gave Justin one hell of a fight, but in the end his indecisiveness cost him a victory here, but it was still an impressive showing and nothing to hold your head down about.

Eve: Indeed it was, James Ranger proved a lot here tonight, but you have to hand it to the Veteran Justin Windgate, participating in the Cash In The Vault match, two years in a row, incredible.

( Camera shows Justin Windgate celebrating once more, before fading elsewhere )

(Commercial of EAW Elitists advising the world to get vaccinated.)

(The camera opens back into the World 1 Theatre.)

(“The Only Thing They Fear Is You” by Mick Gordon plays through the speakers as the virtual crowd boos at Ryan Wilson as he comes out with a focused look on his face. He heads straight for the ring.)

Gina Romano: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN…PLEASE WELCOME AT THIS TIME…RYAN WILSON!!!!!

Deadprez: Like or hate Ryan Wilson, but you have to give this man where the credit is due as he put on an outstanding performance at Battle of Egypt last Saturday! I really thought that he was going to get the job done and dethrone Andre Walker.

Gavin Kirkland: Nothing to be ashamed of on Ryan Wilson’s part, but one of the events that people have been talking about is Ronan Malosi, Ryan’s Chained Fury brethren turning on him, only for it to completely backfire on Ronan!

Eve: How in the hell do you botch a betrayal? :mjlol:

Deadprez: No idea, but I’m glad that Ryan Wilson is out here. Perhaps, he could shed some light on what we saw during the New Breed Gauntlet last Saturday?

(Ryan Wilson is already inside the ring as he gets the microphone from Gina Romano. He stands in the middle of the ring as his entrance music dies down. He is thinking about how to start off his promo as the crowd gives him a mixed ovation.)

Ryan Wilson: I should be out here talking about the show stopping performance that I put out at Battle of Egypt. I should be out here talking about how I managed to give Andre Walker a fight of his career. I made him earn his victory and despite facing another crashing loss, I feel…great! After the match was all said and done, I felt like I was hit by a semi-truck. I went out there and did what I wanted to do in the first place and that was deliver a match that people will be talking about for a long fucking time. I proved that I, Ryan Joseph Wilson, will be THE guy of Elite Answers Wrestling one day. Mark my words, I will be a champion one day and I will prove everyone who ever thought of me as being nothing more than a glorified joke wrong.

Ryan Wilson: With that being said, let’s talk about the big elephant in the room, shall we? I always thought of myself to be a great guy who helped those that put in the work day on and day out. As General Manager, I took pride in making sure that everyone got the opportunity that they were entitled to. “If you put in the work, you will get the results you want” was something that I made known to everyone on the Showdown roster and that meant to a man like Ronan Malosi, a man who I have stood across from in the ring and next too in the ring, would be able to get an opportunity that he felt like he didn’t get during his time on Dynasty. At Battle of Egypt, I decided to pick up Ronan because I thought he could help me after all I’ve been through. Despite the odds that we were in as of late, I thought that Ronan would be able to look at the bigger picture and realize that if we worked together, we could have eliminated the competition and be the last two men standing in the match. I thought it was an excellent strategy and Ronan would get the hint of what I had in mind. Instead, Ronan took me for granted. He never bothered to talk to me unless he needed a favor or something done for him. Whenever we talk, it’s because he wants something and normally, I’ve been quite selfless and did things because that’s what partners and friends did for one another. The moment that I lose a bit of power, it seemed like Ronan lost his purpose to keep me by his side and he began to focus on himself instead of Chained Fury.

(Ryan Wilson pauses as you can tell that he’s getting a bit upset.)

Ryan Wilson: I’m sick and tired of it. If I had to be honest with everyone, I am sick and tired of it all. Ronan turning on me was something that I anticipated this past week in Egypt, so I was ready. I knew that Ronan would have wanted to become New Breed Champion for himself and would have eliminated anyone in his path, but I was ready for it. I was more than ready for Ronan to pull that stunt and it cost him the New Breed Championship in the process. Ronan got what he deserved just like he got what he deserved at Reasonable Doubt back in November. I’m not going to be wasting my time with Ronan Malosi. I got nothing to prove to him as I’ve defeated him in the past. I’m not looking to rehash my history with him. Instead, I am looking to move forward to the future. I tuned into Dynasty last night when Andre Walker vacated the New Breed Championship and I took it as a sign that my intentions at capturing the New Breed Championship aren’t done just yet. If Hurricane Hawk, StarrStan, Veena Adams or Captain Charisma are looking for a man to be the next New Breed Champion, you’re looking at him. You all saw the performance that I had at Battle of Egypt and if you want another performance like that, I am the guy to either walk into Pain for Pride as champion or walk out as the New Breed Champion —

(“Fire Storm A” by Herman’s Langschwert & Wolfgang Killian cuts Ryan Wilson as the virtual crowd massively boos as Ronan Malosi comes out with a microphone in his hand. He stands on the ramp as his entrance music dies down.)

Ronan Malosi: That sounds like a fucking stupid idea, Ryan. Me being the New Breed Champion on the other hand DOES sound like a great idea. :drakelike: I need to win another championship to redeem myself.

Ryan Wilson: You should have said that when you thought about betraying me at Battle of Egypt.

Ronan Malosi: No one wants to see you as New Breed Champion. It would be disgracing the belt more than Andre Walker vacating the championship because he was too pussy to put up the belt against me one-on-one. That’s the real reason why Andre Walker vacated the belt. It wasn’t because he was ready to move on to bigger and better things, he just didn’t want any of my smoke. I digress. I’m not here to ramble on about that, but I’m going to be real with you, Ryan, it shouldn’t be rocket science to realize why I turned on you at Battle of Egypt. It’s really simple: you are a terrible friend, Ryan. You were a terrible friend for not helping me out at Grand Rampage. You knew that my mind was not at the right place. I had so many things racing in my mind. Alissa was injured, I was trying to heal my injured jaw. I was in no way in the right shape to have been defending my Interwire Championship. But, Hurricane Hawk forced me to go out and compete. Ryan, you have connections with the board. All I gotta ask is: why didn’t you use that connection to get me out of defending the title at Grand Rampage? Even then, why did you didn’t do anything at Grand Rampage, when I wasn’t in the shape to compete?

(Ronan Malosi steps inside the ring and looks across Ryan Wilson.)

Ryan Wilson: I could ask you the same question when I was facing Xavier Williams taking not only my job, but my livelihood as General Manager away from me? What was so damn important that my issues were second priority with you? You didn’t realize that with me out of power, it would sadly affect you too? You didn’t realize that the only reason why you were Interwire Champion was because of me, Ronan? You didn’t realize that the reason why I didn’t push you in the bottom of the fucking card when I was done with you at Reasonable Doubt was because I appreciated the level of competitor that you were? You are god talented, but it’s a shame that you constantly waste all of that potential. You didn’t realize that making sure that I remained General Manager was as important as making sure that you walked away as the Interwire Champion? If it wasn’t for me, you would have never gotten that title in your possession. If it wasn’t for me, you would have never been placed in the number one contender’s match for the Interwire Championship on the first Showdown after King of Elite. You know damn well that you didn’t deserve that opportunity. The board didn’t believe that you deserve that opportunity, but I placed you in the spot to show them the star potential that I knew that you had. If it wasn’t for me, you wouldn’t find yourself in the higher card. You wouldn’t find yourself in feuds with some of the hottest talents on Showdown. You would be floating in the lower card, just waiting for that one opportunity to make you a household name. Your success is thanks to me, Ronan. That Interwire Championship is thanks to me. That ‘Feud of the Year’ award is because I carried your ass to classic after classic and without me, you’d be nothing more than the loser that got pissed on by Steroid Dawg at a Pain for Pride.

(Ronan Malosi silently chuckles to himself. The last sentence from Ryan Wilson obviously struck a chord with him, but he continues to listen on.)

Ryan Wilson: Even then, you have nothing much going for yourself. That Interwire Championship reign came and went without a trace and it seems like the only thing that you got going for yourself is dating Alissa Brady, but it won’t be long until she realizes how much of a failure you are and cheats on you with someone else that is more deserving of her than you are —

Ronan Malosi: Get her name out of your dirty ass mouth.

(Ryan Wilson silently chuckles to himself. He knows that he got underneath Ronan Malosi’s skin with that last sentence, but he listens to what Ronan has to say.)

Ronan Malosi: This is between the two of us. Leave her out of this situation. I heard you talking about our rivalry this past season and it’s made me think about a lot of things recently. One of the biggest things is that match at Reasonable Doubt. That loss at Reasonable Doubt still stings, Ryan. I felt like that should have been MY moment. That should have been my rivalry to shine in. It should have been the moment where Ronan Malosi became a motherfucking star in this company. Everyone was waiting for me to knock you on your ass, Ryan. Everyone was wanting me to defeat you, but I didn’t. I left myself wondering where the hell I went wrong, but I look at things like Magdelina getting involved and Alissa being a factor, I felt like those were my downfall. You needed the assistance of other people to make me submit. Basically, it took three people to defeat me that night and it doesn’t matter how many times you turn this around to suit your narrative, Ryan, but you were never able to defeat me without any sort of assistance. You needed the Maidens of Malpractice to save your job at Territorial Invasion. You needed your mom and Alissa to help you out at Reasonable Doubt. Your biggest victories are because of other people helping you put me down. I realize that you were never able to defeat me cleanly in the middle of this ring, Ryan.

(Ryan Wilson rolls his eyes, already getting bored of this conversation, but continues to listen to Ronan Malosi.)

Ronan Malosi: Don’t roll your eyes on me, boy. I’m speaking the truth at the moment. You were never able to defeat me in the middle of the ring. You claimed that you already proved what you needed to at Reasonable Doubt, but I’ve pinned you in the middle of the ring…twice. Despite all of that, I felt like I should have walked away as the winner at Reasonable Doubt. I’ve been giving this a lot of thought this week in particular and I believe I can say it — I want to avenge that loss.

(Ryan Wilson raises a brow, feeling intrigued by what Ronan Malosi has said.)

Ronan Malosi: You heard me. I want to avenge that loss, but most importantly, I want to get you off my back for good. You wonder what I mean about that, well, I am going to tell you it. Ryan Wilson versus Ronan Malosi…at Pain for Pride!

(The virtual crowd cheers at one of the most heated rivalries of Season 14 being possibly ignited at Pain for Pride. The two men stare at each other. There is obviously still bad blood with each other. The two men spent half a season clashing with each other, creating classic after classic with one another and for it to happen once again at Pain for Pride is something that both men like the sound of.)

Ronan Malosi: However, I don’t want just an ordinary match, Ryan. We’re two bitter rivalries and as I said, I’m looking to avenge the loss. A standard one-on-one match isn’t going to suffice with the two of us. I’m going to challenge you to Chained Fury II!

(The virtual crowd pops again as Ryan Wilson looks very intrigued at the moment. He’s thinking about this match and whether he wants to go through the same hell that the first Chained Fury match unleashed on the two of them.)

Ryan Wilson: It’s really cute that you want to avenge yourself, Ronan. You want it to happen in the Pain for Pride stage. The same stage that you were pissed on by Steroid Dawg. The same stage where you were nothing, but another body in the 24/7 Battle Royal. You entered the SoFi Stadium as a newly transformed me and that’s something that I appreciate with you, but I’m a different man as well and I’ll accept your challenge!

(The virtual crowd cheers at another Pain for Pride match being made official!)

Gavin Kirkland: RYAN WILSON VERUS RONAN MALOSI IN CHAINED FURY II AT PAIN FOR PRIDE!?!?!

Eve: WOAH! This is huge! This is one of the feuds that carried the Showdown brand on the back for the first half of Season 14 and it seems like these two men are really looking to end things once and for all at Pain for Pride!

Ryan Wilson: Just so you know what happens because I accepted this match, Ronan. The alliance between the two of us is down. The laughs that we shared. The late night talks that we have about what we want our future in EAW to be like. That is nothing, but a memory to me, Ronan. From this moment forward, Chained Fury is a forgettable memory! I part you with these words, former friend and partner, at Pain for Pride, there will be no conspiracy when I defeat you. It will be because I’ve always been better than you.

(Ryan Wilson drops the microphone as “The Only Thing They Fear Is You” plays through the speakers once again. The two Elitists in the ring stare at each other as Ryan exits the ring and makes his way up the ramp.)

Deadprez: We had just gotten word from General Manager Hurricane Hawk that Chained Fury II is set for Pain for Pride! Man, this was one of the matches that stole the show at Reasonable Doubt, so I expect for the same thing to happen at Pain for Pride!

Gavin Kirkland: Oh boy, aren’t we in for another crazy match between these two Elitists?

(Final commercial break.)

( “Roll With Me” by Charlie XCX blasts through the speakers to a rainfall of boo’s as Andrea Valentine jerks the curtain and makes her presence known on the entranceway. She scans the atmosphere before confidently making her way down the ramp. )

Gina Romano: INTRODUCING FIRST! From Orlando, Florida, weighing in at 110 pounds.. ANDREAAAAAAAAAA VALENTINNEE!!

Deadprez: Andrea Valentine has taken the world by storm with her attitude and she looks to use that attitude to get a huge victory over a new inductee into the current hall of champions. Valentine continues to intensify heat between her and Raven Roberts, and even Consuela Rose Ava, and after the events of Battle Of Egypt 2 in Cairo, she definitely will have a lot of energy built up the past few days to release onto her opponent.

Gavin Kirkland: She could release her energy on me :mjlit:

Eve: Could what Consuela said earlier hinder her focus a bit?

Deadprez: We’re about to find out.

( “Bad Medicine” by Bon Jovi echoes throughout the World 1 Theatre to another monsoon of boo’s as Dr. Bethany Blue makes her first entrance as the new EAW Specialist Champion. She shows off her new prize on the stage before putting it back on her shoulder and moseying her way down the ring. )

Gina Romano: AND HER OPPONENT! From Miami, Florida, weighing in at 125 pounds.. SHE IS THE NEW EAW SPECIALIST CHAMPION…. DOCTORRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR… BETHANYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY BLUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

Eve: Last time we saw Dr. Bethany Blue on Showdown programming, she was laid out by Constance Blevins. Now? She has risen above everything and is able to call herself the new EAW Specialist Champion. As a new champion, you would expect a coronation but she has found herself into the center of the eyes of the ruthless Andrea Valentine.

Deadprez: Both women went through excruciating warfare so that will be bound to be detrimental to their performances tonight. This is going to be a wonderful match!

( DING! DING! DING! )

Deadprez: This match is underway now as Andrea Valentine and Dr. Bethany Blue circle the insides of the ring before engaging in a collar-and-elbow tie-up. Blue is able to convert into a wrist lock, going around and applying torque to her left arm. Valentine twists around, escapes her grip and wraps her arms around the waist. Blue grabs her head and pulls her into a headlock. Valentine gets the leg scissors and Blue tries to kip-up out of the position. Valentine strengthens the leg scissors before she could and causes her to be unable to. She got her where she wanted him, but Blue is beginning to fight out of the scissors. Blue slaps the thighs before maneuvering around and flipping onto her back of Blue’s chest! A back-to-belly pin, but Valentine arches upwards and twists Blue around! Both women are up on their feet as Valentine is attempting a backslide!

Eve: Blue uses the backslide position to flip over Valentine’s shoulders. Blue grabs her head and throws Valentine into a headlock of her own! This time around, the EAW Specialist Champion has more control over the headlock opposed to Valentine’s headlock from earlier. Blue applies more and more torque to her headlock before Valentine is able to get up to her feet and push Blue into the ropes! Blue lets go as she runs and rebounds off the ropes! Valentine choreographs a back body drop! Blue steps to the side, grabs her hair and tries to pull on it! Valentine is able to slap her wrist away and kicks her right in the midsection!

Gavin Kirkland: It is like heaven here seeing these two women rub up against each other! Valentine grabs her wrist and Irish whips her into the ropes! Blue shifts it around and sends Valentine into the ropes instead! Blue runs past Valentine! Valentine turns around and is met with a double chop to the midsection! Blue follows it up with a well-placed kick to the chin! Before she pulls her in by the hand and lifts her up by the side! SIDE SLAM BACKBREAKER!!

Eve: NO!! BLUE WAS LOOKING TO DROP HER ONTO THE KNEE, BUT VALENTINE SWINGED ONTO HER FEET AND CONNECTS WITH A ROUNDHOUSE KICK TO THE MIDSECTION!! Blue was sent to the canvas with that roundhouse kick as Valentine now comes off the ropes! VALENTINE WITH A DOUBLE FOOT STOMP TO THE SHOULDERS OF BLUE!! BLUE ROLLS OUT OF THE WAY AND NAILS HER IN THE BACK OF THE LEG WITH AN ANKLE BLOCK!! VALENTINE IS DOWN ONTO ONE KNEE AS BLUE NOW GRABS HER BY THE HEAD!! AND SHE MOVES ACROSS THE RING BEFORE JUMPING ONTO THE SECOND ROPE!! AND SHE SLINGSHOTS OFF AND DROPS VALENTINE WITH A BULLDOG!

Deadprez: BUT VALENTINE PUSHES HER OFF AT THE LAST SECOND!! BLUE IN A SEATED POSITION AS VALENTINE TRAMPLES ONTO HER FROM BEHIND! VALENTINE JUST STEPS ONTO HER BEFORE COMING OFF THE ROPES!! AND CONNECTING WITH A DOUBLE FOOT STOMP ONTO THE SAME ARM THAT BLUE USED FOR THE ANKLE BLOCK JUST SECONDS AGO!!! Valentine goes for the first cover of this match! SHOULDERS ARE DOWN!

ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!

TWO-

Eve: KICK-OUT!! Valentine gotta have to do more damage than that as she continues to target the left arm of Blue. She stomps down onto the left arm before positioning it between her two feet. Blue is trying to fight out of it as Valentine TWISTS HER BODY ALONG WITH HER ARM!! Blue screams in pain as Valentine now comes off the ropes!! AND SHE LEAPS INTO THE AIR!! AND FLATTENS BLUE’S LEFT SHOULDER WITH ANOTHER DEVASTATING DOUBLE FOOT STOMP!! Blue instinctively rolls away and beneath the bottom rope to separate her from Valentine’s attack, but it is not for long! Valentine rebounds off the ropes while Blue is in a seated position on the apron! VALENTINE LEAPS INTO THE AIR ONCE AGAIN!! AND DROPKICKS BLUE FROM BEHIND THAT SENDS HER FLYING INTO THE BARRICADE!!

Deadprez: OUCH!! Dr. Bethany Blue literally went zooming off that apron courtesy of Andrea Valentine’s picture perfect dropkick to the lower back as she is looking to do further damage! Andrea Valentine slingshots over the top rope! AND DESCENDS ONTO BLUE WITH A SLINGSHOT CROSSBODY!! BUT BLUE CATCHES HER IN MID-AIR!! SHE HAS A SICK SMILE ON HER FACE AS SHE THROWS HER BACKWARDS!! AND SENDS VALENTINE COLLIDING INTO THE UNFORGIVING BARRICADE WITH A FALLAWAY SLAM!! GOD DAMN!! BOTH COMPETITORS ARE JUST ONE-UPPING EACH OTHER WITH BRUTAL MANEUVERS AS BLUE BRINGS ANDREA BACK INTO THE RING!

Eve: The reigning EAW Specialist Champion inserts Andrea Valentine back into the squared circle before climbing the apron and slingshotting over the top rope! AND SHE CRASHES DOWN ONTO THE LEFT LEG OF VALENTINE WITH A DEVASTATING SLINGSHOT KNEE DROP! AND SHE PUTS VALENTINE RIGHT INTO A HEEL HOOK!! HEEL HOOK APPLIED TO THE FORMER WORLD CHAMPION AS BOTH COMPETITORS ARE TARGETING EACH OTHER’S LIMBS EARLY INTO THE MATCH!! Valentine is able to reach the ropes with one finger! Blue refuses to let go as she gets a couple of kicks to the back of Valentine’s head before letting go before the referee reaches the five count!

Gavin Kirkland: This is just old-school shoot style on display right here as they are just kicking the hell out of each other! Blue pulls Valentine up to her feet and forces her into the corner! AND JUST BEGINS STOMPING DOWN A MUDHOLE INTO THE LOWER CHEST OF THE FORMER WORLD CHAMPION!! Blue now Irish whips her into the opposite corner! Blue comes storming out of her respective corner! She jumps up into the air and places her knee into the jaw of Valentine against the corner!

Deadprez: NOPE!! Blue bashes her knee into the top turnbuckle and tumbles over the top rope onto the ringside floor. Andrea Valentine jumped out of harm’s way in the nick of time as she now gets up to her feet and rolls beneath the bottom rope and out of the ring. Blue took a hard fall out of the ring, specifically onto her left arm as Valentine will surely continue to exploit that discrepancy! VALENTINE RUNS AND SPRINGS OFF THE STEEL STEPS!! AND SHE DRIVES BLUE ONTO THE BACK OF HER HEAD WITH A BLOCKBUSTER!! VALENTINE WITH A HUGE BLOCKBUSTER NECKBREAKER ONTO THE RINGSIDE FLOOR!!

Eve: That is surely revenge for that devastating fallaway slam against the barricade earlier! Valentine brings her into the ring and gets the side press cover! BOTH SHOULDERS ARE DOWN!!

ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!

T-

Gavin Kirkland: ANOTHER KICK-OUT AT ONE!! Valentine is beginning to become a tad bit impatient here as she pulls Blue up to her feet! This has been a brutal brawl between both competitors thus far and we know that they are going to bring it to a more hard-hitting level! Valentine brings Blue up to her feet and starts lighting her up with a variety of forearm smashes across the torso! Valentine swings to the face! She is successful with two forearms to the jaw before spinning around. She nails her with a kick to the midsection, one to the face, and sends her into the ropes with a roundhouse kick!

Eve: Blue has no intentions of being grounded by her offensive attacks as she rebounds off the ropes! AND RESPONDS WITH A YAKUZA KICK!! VALENTINE SIMPLY STEPS TO THE SIDE! AND BLUE GETS SENT ONTO BOTH KNEES WITH A POWERFUL ROUNDHOUSE KICK THE INSTANT SHE TURNED HER HEAD AROUND!! Valentine takes a deep breath before lining Blue up along the ropes! She runs and flips forward! THE FORMER WORLD CHAMPION HANDSPRINGS OFF!! AND LOOKS TO FLATTEN BLUE WITH A HANDSPRING BACK ELBOW!

Deadprez: Blue catches her arm in mid-air and hooks the other! TIGER SUPLEX!! NO!! VALENTINE UNHOOKS HER RIGHT ARM, GRABS HER HEAD IN MID-AIR AND SLAMS BLUE FACE-FIRST ONTO THE CANVAS WITH A BULLDOG!! WHAT A SENSATIONAL COUNTER TO THE TIGER SUPLEX AS VALENTINE QUICKLY EMERGES TO HER FEET AND RUNS THE ROPES!! ANDREA VALENTINE REBOUNDS OFF!! AND CHARGES INTO BLUE!!

BLUE MEETS HALFWAY AND SCOOPS HER UP!! AND DRIVES HER ONTO THE BACK OF HER NECK WITH AUTHORITY!! SIT-OUT MICHINOKU DRIVER AS BOTH SHOULDERS ARE DOWN!!

ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!

T-

Eve: KICK-OUT!! Even if Blue’s hopes of getting her up for that tiger suplex were destroyed with that bulldog, the EAW Specialist Champion kept going and was able to get her up for that sit-out michinoku driver! Blue drove her head into the canvas with everything she had in her body and you could tell with the way Valentine is grabbing her neck! What a hard-hitting match this has been between both competitors and this is what I love to see on the road to Pain For Pride 14! Dr. Bethany Blue holds her left shoulder while she gets up to her feet, indicating the damage she’s endured throughout this main event. She shakes off the limb pain and crouches in the corner. Valentine is gingerly getting up to her feet! BLUE RUNS INTO HER LIKE A MACK TRUCK!

Deadprez: BLUE INTENTIONALLY GETS HER FOOT ONTO THE SHOULDER OF VALENTINE!! VALENTINE WAS ABLE TO DUCK HER HEAD, BUT BLUE USES THAT FOOT TO SPRING HERSELF BACKWARDS!! AND GOES FOR A HEEL KICK TO THE BACK OF THE HEAD!! WHAT A FAKE, BUT VALENTINE IS STILL ABLE TO DODGE THE KICK!! BLUE CAN’T BELIEVE IT AS ANDREA GETS UP AND SPINS FORWARD!! AND NAILS BLUE RIGHT ON THE BUTTON WIT A SPINNING DOUBLE HEEL KICK!! THAT GOT HER PERFECTLY AS BLUE IS SWAYING SIDE TO SIDE, BACK AND FORTH!

Eve: Valentine moves inwards! AND SHE GOES FOR A ROUNDHOUSE KICK TO THE FAC- WAIT!! Blue counters and grabs her foot! She hooks it over and picks her up into a powerbomb position! AND SHE DROPS HER FACE-FIRST ONTO THE TOP TURNBUCKLE WITH THE ALLEY-OOP POWERBOMB!! BUT VALENTINE INSTINCTIVELY STUMBLES BACKWARDS INTO BLUE’S BACK!! SHE BUMPS INTO HER BACK AND JUMPS UP TO DRILL THE Specialist CHAMPION WITH A NECKBREAKER!!

Gavin Kirkland: NO!! BLUE SAW IT COMING FROM A MILE AWAY AND INTERCEPTED IT WITH A SIDE THRUST KICK TO THE SIDE OF THE HEAD!! VALENTINE IS DOWN AS BLUE TAKES A FEW SECONDS TO SWAY SIDE TO SIDE BEFORE DROPPING OVER THE CHEST OF VALENTINE!! THIS COULD BE IT!! COUNTER IT REF!

ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!

T-

Deadprez: KICK-OUT!! Both competitors have had an answer for each other’s maneuvers throughout this match and Dr. Bethany Blue was able to get the last laugh out of that exchange! Blue throws Andrea over with a snap suplex before getting up to her feet and stepping through the ropes. Blue looking to go aerial as she is perched on the top turnbuckle!! BLUE SOARS INTO THE AIR!! WAIT!! RIGHT AS BLUE WAS ABOUT TO JUMP OFF, VALENTINE JUMPED UP AND GOT THE FRONT HEADSCISSORS!! VALENTINE WITH A SUPER HURRICANRANA FROM OUT OF NOWHERE!

Eve: WHAT THE!?? BLUE GRABS THE LEFT LEG FROM THE HURRICANRANA AND REVERSES IT INTO A HEEL HOOK!! WHAT A COUNTER!! A SENSATIONAL REVERSAL FROM OUR EAW Specialist CHAMPION AS ANDREA VALENTINE IS IN DEEP TROUBLE RIGHT NOW!!! BLUE CONTINUES TO TARGET THE LEG LEG, BUT NOT FOR LONG AS VALENTINE IS ABLE TO GRAB THE SECOND ROPE WITH EASE!! The referee is trying to separate both individuals, but the attempt is in vain! Valentine uses the ropes to bring herself up to her feet, but it is with difficulty as Blue continues to cinch in the heel hock on the left leg!

Deadprez: AND VALENTINE JUST USES HER RIGHT FOOT TO STOMP DOWN ONTO THE UNPROTECTED FACE OF BLUE!! SHE REPEATEDLY FLATTENS HER FACE WITH THE BOTTOM OF HER FOOT BEFORE SHE EVENTUALLY LETS GO FOR THE HEEL HOOK!! Valentine quickly falls to the floor and grips her left foot whereas Blue might be concussed from those unprotected stomps! The referee is checking on the Specialist Champion while Valentine uses the ropes to get up to her feet. She smacks her left thigh and ignores the pain before getting ahold of Blue.

Gavin Kirkland: BLUE GOES FOR AN ANKLE LOCK FROM OUT OF NOWHERE!

Deadprez: WHAT THE!?! VALENTINE SHOOTS UPWARDS AT THE LAST SECOND!! AND COUNTERS THE ANKLE BLOCK ATTEMPT WITH A LEG DROP ONTO THE BACK OF THE HEAD!! WHAT A COUNTER AS VALENTINE QUICKLY BRINGS BLUE UP TO HER FEET!! VALENTINE HOPS ON ONE FOOT!! SHE GRABS HER BY THE WRIST AND PULLS HER IN!! AND NAILS HER IN THE SIDE OF THE HEAD WITH A ROUNDHOUSE KICK!! Blue is down on both knees as Valentine maneuvers over! SHE GOT HER WITH THE LEGSCISSORS!! AND DROPS HER ONTO HER FACE WITH THE VALENTINE’S MASSACRE!! HANDSTAND HEADSCISSORS DRIVER CONNECTS AS VALENTINE ROLLS HER OVER FOR ANOTHER COVER IN THIS MATCH!!

ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!

T-

Eve: KICK-OUT!! Time was almost up for Dr. Bethany Blue, but Valentine’s Massacre wasn’t enough to put her away. Valentine stomps Blue in the chest once more before concentrating her attention to the top turnbuckle. Valentine is looking to go aerial here as she steps through the ropes and ascends to where she is most comfortable! Andrea Valentine is standing on the top turnbuckle! BLUE IS DOWN-AND-OUT, OBLIVIOUS ON WHAT FATE SHE IS ABOUT TO MEET! VALENTINE MOVES FORWARD!! AND SHE FLIPS FOR THE ROUNDING MOONSAULT!!

Deadprez: AND NOBODY IS HOME!! MAGIC HOUR MISSES ON THE DOT AS BLUE COMES FROM OUT OF THE CORNER SHE ROLLED INTO!! AND HITS THE TJD!! TJD SUPERKICK!! VALENTINE WITH A CARTWHEEL EVASION!! AND SHE SWINGS FOR A SPINNING HEEL KICK!! BLUE DUCKS IT AND HITS THE SPINNING BACK FIST!! VALENTINE IS WINDED AS BLUE NOW GRABS HER HEAD FROM BEHIND!! AND SHE GOES FOR THE GRADE C2 REVERSE DDT!!

Gavin Kirkland: VALENTINE USES HER SEXY SPIDER LEGS TO GET OUT OF THE REVERSE FRONTFACE POSITION WITH A ROUNDHOUSE KICK TO THE FACE! WHAT A KICK AS BLUE COMES OFF THE SECOND ROPE!! VALENTINE GETS CLOCKED WITH A YAKUZA KICK RIGHT TO THE FACE!! BOTH WOMEN ARE USING EACH OTHER TO STAND UP NOW AS VALENTINE GRABS HER HAND!! AND GOES FOR THE RIPCORD ROUNDHOUSE KICK!

Deadprez: Dr. Bethany Blue ducks the roundhouse kick and gets her into the position for a pumphandle slam! Blue lifts her up in the hold! BUT SHE TRANSITIONS IT INTO A POWERSLAM!! NO!! SHE DROPS HER INTO AN INVERTED FRONT FACE!! AND DROPS HER WITH THE GRADE C2 REVERSE DDT!! OH MY GOD!! WHAT A GREAT SEQUENCE RIGHT THERE AS BLUE MOUNTS ONTO HER AND HOOKS BOTH LEGS!! IS SHE LOOKING FOR THE SUPLEX PILEDRIVER!! IF SHE HITS THIS THEN IT IS GAME OVER FOR ANDREA VALENTINE!! BLUE HOISTS HER UP INTO THE SUPLEX POSITION!! BUT VALENTINE GOES OVER HER SHOULDERS AND ESCAPES FROM HER TALONS!! VALENTINE CRAWLS UP FROM BEHIND AND ROLLS BLUE UP INTO THE SCHOOL-GIRL COVER!

Deadprez: BLUE ROLLS OFF THE SCHOOL-GIRL ATTEMPT AND IMMEDIATELY JUMPS UP FOR THE CURB STOMP!! CONCUSSION PROTOCOL DOESN’T LAND AS VALENTINE SIDESTEPS IT!! VALENTINE GOES FOR THE INVERTED FRANKENSTEINER!! ATOMIC BLONDE!! NO!! BLUE JUMPS DOWN AND DUCKS THE FRANKENSTEINER!! VALENTINE IS CONFUSED AS BLUE GRABS HER HAIR FOR THE GRADE C2 DDT ONCE AGAIN!! BLUE PUTS THE GLOVE IN ON HER RIGHT HAND AND GOES FOR THE MANDIBLE CLAW!

Deadprez: SAY AHHH!! IT IS CINCHED IN AS VALENTINE IS WAILING HER ARMS IN DISTRESS!! THIS COULD BE THE BEGINNING OF THE END FOR ANDREA VALENTINE HERE AS DR. BETHANY BLUE HAS THE MANDIBLE CLAW APPLIED IN THE CENTER OF THE RING WITH NOWHERE TO GO FOR THE FORMER WORLD CHAMPION!!

Gavin Kirkland: VALENTINE SUCKS IN THE PAIN AND PUSHES BLUE INTO THE ROPES!! BUT BLUE AND THE REFEREE KNOCK HEADS IN THE PROCESS!! OH NO!! BLUE SEES THE REFEREE ON THE GROUND AND LOOKS IN ASTONISHMENT!! She relinquishes the mandible claw in shock as the referee grabs his left eye in pain! Both competitors knocked heads and that went right into the referee’s left eye in particular!

Deadprez: VALENTINE COMES FROM BEHIND!! BUT BLUE CONNECTS WITH ANOTHER TJD SUPERKICK!! TJD SUPERKICK INTERCEPTION AS BLUE DUCKS DOWN AND GOES FOR THE COVER!! THE REFEREE GETS A QUARTER OF HIS SIGHT BACK AND CRAWLS OVER FOR THE COVER!! THIS COULD BE IT!!

Deadprez: BUT THE REFEREE’S SLOW COUNT ENABLES VALENTINE TO GET HER SHOULDER UP BEFORE THE THREE COUNT!! DR. BETHANY BLUE IS PISSED OFF NOW AS SHE IS TRYING TO KNOCK SOME SENSE INTO THE REFEREE NOW!! She pulls the referee up to her feet and pushes her into the ropes.

Dr. Bethany Blue (off-mic): I AM THE EAW Specialist CHAMPION! CAN YOU NOT COUNT ANY BETTER FOR ME!! DO YOUR JOB!!!

Eve: The referee is still unable to see out of his left eye as Dr. Bethany Blue is more pissed off than ever! Blue pulls Valentine up to her feet! AND GOES FOR ANOTHER SUPERKICK!! ( Dr. Bethany Blue puts her foot onto the bottom rope. However, the referee is unable to see the foot as it on his damaged left eye’s side. )

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!

( DING! DING! DING! )

( “Roll With Me” by Charlie XCX hits through the speakers to ear-deafening boos as Andrea Valentine immediately rolls out of the ring knowing the referee didn’t see the foot on the rope. )

Gina Romano: HERE IS YOUR WINNER… ANDREAAAAAAAA VALENTINEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!

Deadprez: The referee is handing the victory to Andrea Valentine and is completely oblivious of the foot on the rope! Dr. Bethany Blue is sitting in confusion as Andrea Valentine happily backpedals up the ramp in victory. Nonetheless, what an amazing scuffle between both competitors here tonight. Dr. Bethany Blue showed exactly why she deserves to be the champion, and while Valentine is walking away with a controversial victory under her belt, she also performed greatly against the doctor.

Eve: Raven Roberts and Consuela Rose Ava were definitely watching this close and they might have something to say about this controversial victory. However, the referee’s decision is final. There will be hell to pay on Dr. Bethany Blue’s side of things, but Andrea Valentine is just happy with the result of this match and is satisfied with the victory. Congratulations to Andrea Valentine. Big win for Andrea going into Pain for Pride, but at the same time, shouldn’t do much to slow the momentum of Dr. Bethany Blue.

Deadprez: That does it for another edition of Showdown! Goodnight from Jersey!

(The final shot is of Andrea celebrating on the ramp as Bethany stands in the corner holding her championship looking pissed off.)
