(Showdown opens up with a recap of everything that happened in Fighting Spirit from Showdown’s side. Veena Adams is successful at retaining the National Elite Championship against ARIA. KASAI retained the Specialists Championship against Brianna Hill. TLA defeats Jon Kelton, Adam Lucas and Daryl Kinkade to achieve the number one contendership for the Answers World Championship, but after the match due to Adam not accepting Bethany’s help, Bethany ends up attacking Adam and laying him out to the shock of everybody. Solomon Stane is close to defeating Chef Viz but out of nowhere, Caroline appears to attack Solomon and give him the DQ Win, as Chef Viz is carried out by medical later, as it is announced later that due to Viz’ injuries from the fight against Solomon, he is forced to vacate the Answers World Championship, but later on the night, due to Camille getting disqualified because of Bronson interfering on her match, Tyrone tells her that he had a talk with Kennedy, and she will be able to get an opportunity at the Answers World Championship and fight TLA for it.)
(The recap ends, and it is replaced with the song “Brick Wall” by a Day to Remember, as the camera pans around the inside of the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. Fireworks are shooting out of the stage and the whole crowd can be seen cheering and being excited for the show. The camera ends up panning over to the commentary table with Deadprez, Eve and Gavin Kirkland as the commentators.)
Eve: WELCOME EVERYONE… TO SATURDAY NIGHT SHOWDOWN!!!
Deadprez: AFTER AN INCREDIBLE SHOW AT FIGHTING SPIRIT LAST WEEK, WE HAVE NO MORE STOPS NOW TO GO THROUGH, BECAUSE OUR FINAL DESTINATION FOR THIS SEASON IS RIGHT IN FRONT OF US, PAIN FOR PRIDE!
Eve: And we have a very competitive show today for all of you, as the Showdown spots for the Cash in the Vault will be disputed tonight, in the first qualifier we will see ARIA vs Clayton Golde vs Usagi Senshi, we will also see Mattias Burke go up against Vinnie Calvetti and in the finals of Madison’s tournament, Daniella Atlas will face off against Auburn Ware!
Deadprez: The second qualifier for Cash in the Vault will see Damien Kutcher versus Princess Candice vs Ashlynn Quinn and on the main event, we will see Miku Sakai and Raven Roberts go at it again in a rematch, with the chance of facing Veena Adams at Pain for Pride for the National Elite Championship on the line.

Gina Romano: PLEASE WELCOME AT THIS TIME… TLA!
(‘Ambitionz az a Ridah’ by Tupac starts to play throughout the arena as the crowd stands up and cheers. Before long, TLA walks out fresh off his win and Main Eventing Pain For Pride where he will get the shot at becoming the Answers World Champion once again.)
Deadprez: Here he is! TLA after winning the Fatal Four-Way and this man is going to Mainb Event Pain For Pride representing Showdown for the Answers Wor4ld Championship. We thought it would have been Chef Viz or even Solomon Stane, but after Solomon and Caroline both took out Viz, he is now out as Champion and might be gone for a long time.
Eve: The title became vacant, but then a move by Tyrone Montgomery and Kennedy Street surprisingly set up Ms. Extreme to come back to Showdown and she will be involved in the Main Event and will face TLA, one of them will be Answers World Champion!
Gavin Kirkland: I was surprised that Ms. Extreme is back, but at the same time, we now have one of the biggest matches for Showdown and Pain For Pride! Here is our boi!
(TLA high fives fans, before getting in the ring. He is handed the mic by Gina Romano as the crowd continues to cheer, he paces for a second as the music dies down, to speak.)
TLA: ORALE homies! Your boi did it! But before I continue, let me give a shout out to Adam Lucas, Daryl Kinkade, and Jon Kelton, those three went at it with the quickness. They all be fighting like it was their last match and I gotta give that respect. I know those three wanted this spot bad, you know and they like wrestled like everything was on the line, but what did your boi say since day one, homie? That I was going to Main Event, Pain For Pride. The second mi preciosa, Kennedy Street traded for me, she had one thing in mind, that was to have a Main Event talent. And look, the trade worked out for everyone, you know, that Hikari Kanno doing her thing on Voltage, Main Eventing as well, so it worked for everyone.
(The crowd cheers as YLA nods.)
TLA: But I’m not concerned about all that, see, I’m about the Answers World Championship, and first off, let me shout out Adam Lucas, for being one of them bueno amigos, while his loco esposa decided to try and drug your boi again, but Adam wasn’t in all that and tried to stop her, but yeah I took advantage of the situation, all is fair in love and war, you know. Sorry Adam, but you need to fix your marital problems, amigo and good luck with that. But of course, Chef Viz got hurt in the match with Solomon Stane, and he was about to lose when Caroline with that quickness cost Solomon the match, then that vato while he should have been Answers World Champion, won nothing. But Viz is now out and the title was made vacant, and suddenly an interesting twist happened, Ms. Extreme is back on Showdown to main event with your boi. Listen here, we have two Latinos in the main event at Pain for Pride, That is pretty special and….
(Suddenly “RED THUNDER” by Butcher Babies starts to play throughout the arena as the crowd gets to their feet as Ms. Extreme returns to Showdown. She walks out and looks around at the sold out arena in New Orleans, before smiling, she then heads to the ring giving high fives and looking right at TLA who smirks at the sight of his opponent.)
Deadprez: Ms. Extreme is back! And she is back with a vengeance! On Showdown we learned that Camille has returned, and she will be in the Main Event at Pain for Pride against TLA, and the winner will be the NEW Answers World Champion as right now the title is vacant.
Eve: She looks more focused than ever, and was not happy with the way the match ended between her and Methuselah, thanks to Bronson Daniels, but after some dealings, Kennedy Street and Tyrone Montgomery helped each other out in their situations.
Gavin Kirkland: Two wrestlers that spent mor of their season on Voltage and Dynasty, but were part of Showdown in the past, now are representing the blue brand, talk about irony!
(Ms. Extreme gets in the ring, she then has a mic in hand and walks right up to TLA as her music dies down.)
Ms. Extreme: A week ago, I sure as hell didn’t think I would be here on Showdown, but it seems like a lot has changed in the last few weeks. I was angry, beside myself, thinking that once again, I would not be able to Main Event Pain for Pride, upset at what happened with Methuselah and Bronson Daniels, the last thing I thought would happen is Tyrone Montgomery and Diamond Dixon both coming to me and mentioning the word, Answers World Championship. Now, I’m going to be truthful and frank here, it sucks what happened to Chef Viz, I wish him well. Sucks to be Solomon Stane, but that is what happens when you have friends like Caroline. Their misfortune is my gain, so I’m not mad about it, which now leads me to you, TLA.
(The fans cheer at the sound of his name as she walks up to him, the two mega-stars stand face to face.)
Ms. Extreme: You know that I have nothing but respect for you TLA, but this is my chance to become a Brand World Champion and do so in the Main Event in Orlando. I did not expect this to happen, but it did and here I am, on the Blue Brand and against one of the best that being you, TLA. I know that you are pumped and ready for this match, defeated three others who are at the top of this brand and was probably expecting Chef Viz or Solomon Stane. So was everyone else. But that is not how it turned out, is it? And instead, you drew an even bigger card. That is me. See, TLA… I plan to win the Answers World Championship and head into the next season leading this brand.
TLA: Well… that is funny amiga, because I have the exact same goal, Now, I get it, neither of us were on Showdown much this season, and now it seems like we are Main Eventing this whole brand. I have respect for you too, Camille, that much is true, but when it comes to the Answers World Championship, respect is thrown out the window, and TLA is going to be the Answers World Champion.
Ms. Extreme: Good, because I don’t plan on losing either and….
(But suddenly “Her” by Megan Thee Stallion starts to play as Ms. Extreme already looks annoyed, turning to see the Showdown General Manager, Kennedy Street walking out. It is no secret the hatred between Ms. Extreme and Kennedy Street from last season. She slowly enters the ring to the boos of the crowd. Some cheers and cat calls for the Sexy Flawless Diva.)
Deadprez: She is here, and we thought that this was going to get volatile before, but nothing like now! Her and Camille have a lot of history!
Eve: They do, and we know that it took a lot of convincing to get ger on board, but Kennedy Street went with it, and she is looking for one thing only and that is to make good on this Main Event.
Gavin Kirkland: Kennedy looks so good, and she has a lot of history in New Orleans! They love her here like I do!
(Kennedy has a mic of her own as the theme dies down, she looks out into the crowd and smiles.)
Kennedy Street: Kennie is back in New Orleans honey!
(The crowd cheers as she paces around the ring, before looking at TLA and shaking his hand.)
Kennedy Street: Congratulations honey, I knew trading for you was one of the best decisions I made for Showdown and it makes Kennie proud to see that you will be Main Eventing Pain For Pride.
TLA: Gracias jefa.
Kennedy Street: De nada. And then there is you.
(Kennedy turns to Ms. Extreme, both women are face to face.)
Kennedy Street: We have a lot of unfinished business, but when the idea of you and TLA facing each other at Pain For Pride for the vacant Answers World Championship was brought up to me after finding out that Chef Viz was out indefinitely and Caroline cost Solomon Stane the match, sure, Kennie was in a bit of a pickle, honey. But much as I dislike you, Camille, there is no doubt that Kennie respect your tenacity and fire. There is no doubt that this main event will be one for the ages.
Ms. Extreme: What are you saying.
Kennedy Street: Simple, Kennie knows that you will bring your best and make this main event and brand proud. So, no bullshit…. Welcome back to Showdown and go out there with TLA and make us proud.
(Kennedy extends her hand much to the surprise of Ms. Extreme. She looks at it for a moment before nodding and shaking the hand of Kennedy to much of the shock of everyone. “Her” starts to play as Kennedy steps out, TLA and Ms. Extreme both stare down each other as the crowd cheers immensely.)
Deadprez: Never thought we would se ethe day, but our Main Event for Pain For Pride is set! Ms. Extreme taking on TLA for the Answers World Championship, and Kennedy Street making peace with that, we are only twenty-six days away from Pain For Pride Kingdom in Orlando!
Eve: It will be amazing and these two are going to bring their all, and we know heading into Season 18? Either TLA or Ms. Extreme will be the Answers World Champion.!
Gavin Kirkland: What a Main Event… and what a woman is our General Manager!
(TLA and Ms. Extreme continue to stare each other down as Kennedy makes her way to the back, cutting to the first commercial break of the night.)
(Showdown returns from commercial break.)
Gina Romano: THE OPENING MATCH IS SET FOR ONE-FALL AND THE WINNER WILL QUALIFY FOR THE CASH IN THE VAULT AT PAIN FOR PRIDE! !
(‘I am not a woman, I’m a god’ by Halsey begins to play as Usagi Senshi slowly makes her way onto the stage twirling her parasol. The crowd boos as she begins to head down towards the ramp.)
Gina Romano: INTRODUCING FIRST…FROM FUKUOKA, JAPAN…WEIGHING IN AT 115 POUNDS…’STARBOY’…USAGI SENSHIIII!
(Senshi makes it down to the ring and climbs up the top turnbuckle. She continues to swirl her parasol as golden smoke begins to take form at the top of the stage. ‘Betty (Get Money)!’ by Yung Gravy begins to play as Clayton Golde emerges from the smoke. As always, he has a girl with him, one that he kisses before ordering her backstage. The crowd continues to boo as he spreads his arm wide for his spotlight.)
Gina Romano: INTRODUCING HER OPPONENT…BASED IN AN UNDISCLOSED LOCATION IN ROMANIA…WEIGHING IN AT 210 POUNDS…HE IS THE “THE GOSPEL”…CLAYTON GOLDE!
(He finishes basking in the moment and heads down to the ring. When he gets in the ring, he looks at Senshi and then blows her off. He climbs up to the ropes and spreads his arms wide, but the moment is interrupted as his music is cut short. ARIA walks out onto the stage with no music, no lights, but trying to fan away some of that excessive golden smoke.)
Gina Romano: INTRODUCING THEIR OPPONENT…FROM CHANDLER, ARIZONA…WEIGHING IN AT 110 POUNDS…ARIA!
(She gets down into the ring and Golde tries to get in her face. She walks right past him to stare down Usagi Senshi. The two get in each other’s faces before the ref separates them. He then calls for the bell.)
(DING! DING! DING!)
Gavin Kirkland: There’s the bell and this one is underway! Right off the bat, Usagi Senshi and ARIA meet in the middle of the ring! We’re seeing a brawl here! Of course, The Golden God is patiently waiting in the corner as the two ladies come to blows! ARIA brings her arm back and chops ARIA right across the chest! It sounded like a gunshot! SENSHI REPLIES WITH AN UPPERCUT! It sends ARIA back into the ropes! Off the rebound she looks for a clothesline, BUT ARIA DUCKS UNDER IT! She continues heading towards the ropes and she looks for the handspring elbow strike!
Eve: SENSHI GETS HER IN THE BACK WITH A DROPKICK! She just completely shut down the offense there! She looks over now at Clayton Golde, who still seems to be playing on his phone. Usagi Senshi walks up to him and he just puts his finger in her face! Golde finishes whatever he was doing on his phone and he…leaves? Golde just rolled out to the outside! Senshi looks confused here and I’m confused as well! Doesn’t he know that you be inside the ring to win the match?
Deadprez: See that? He’s playing a long game here! Senshi isn’t paying attention, but ARIA is now back on her feet! FROM BEHIND SHE GETS HER WITH A GERMAN SUPLEX! She takes down her opponent by surprise! ARIA looks for the shining wizard to follow it up! Senshi is still able to dodge, catching her opponent instead! She rolls her up with the schoolboy but then gets to her feet! SHE HITS A ROUNDHOUSE KICK! Senshi grabs her opponent and lifts her up! SENSHI IS GOING FOR THE BRAINBUSTER! SHE CONNECTS WITH IT! And it seems as if she’s about to look for the first cover of the match as well!
Gavin Kirkland: GOLDE IS BACK INSIDE THE RING! He grabs Senshi from behind and spikes her into the mat with a teardrop suplex! You see that? He literally just posted on Rumble: “Rome wasn’t built in a day, but it could have been if they drank Liquid Golde.” Clearly, he was referring to his plan! He throws Senshi to the outside and turns his attention towards ARIA! He just scoops her right off the mat and it seems like she’s looking for the a scoopslam! ARIA MANAGES TO SLIDE OFF HIS SHOULDERS! She grabs him from behind, looking for her own german suplex! GOLDE SMASHES HER IN THE FACE WITH HIS ELBOW!
Eve: He turns around now and gets her with a boot in the gut! Golde now uses the ropes to build up some speed…HERE COMES A FAMOUSER! ARIA is able to get out of the way…AND SHE GETS HIM WITH A GROUNDED SUPERKICK! She takes a few steps back and perhaps a spectacular running moonsault on Golde! She gets back to her feet but HERE COMES SENSHI! She leaps over Golde and drills ARIA with a shotgun dropkick! She falls in a senton position on top of Golde! And now she disposes of him to the outside, looking to get some more one-on-one time with ARIA!
Deadprez: She grabs the arm of ARIA which still might be feeling the effects of her match this past weekend! Usagi puts her in a wrist lock…AND THEN KICKS RIGHT ACROSS THE CHEST! And now she pulls her opponent in for a belly-to-belly suplex! ARIA says no way jose, elbowing Usagi in the side of the head! She pushes her away to create some distance, but Usagi comes right back at her with a spinning backfist! ARIA ducks under it and lifts Usagi into the air! BLUE THUNDER BOMB! Here comes the first cover of the match!

Gavin Kirkland: There’s the shoulder! Usagi is able to kick out before the two! ARIA pushes her off of her and then brings back up to her feet! SHE GETS HER WITH A BIG CHOP! Usagi Senshi stumbles back into the corner! This is not the place you want to be in! ARIA LOOKS FOR THE BIG BOOT IN THE CORNER! Senshi is able to avoid having her head knocked off her shoulders! ARIA’s leg is trapped on the top of the ropes so Senshi grabs her from behind…SNAP-DRAGON SUPLEX! In an instant, ARIA’s head meets the mat! Senshi isn’t done there, keeping hold of her opponent and bringing her back to her feet! INVERTED DDT! Talk about a double tap! Senshi looks for the cover now!

Eve: BUT THERE’S GOLDE! The Clout Shark swims back into the ring and breaks up the cover! He picks up Senshi and drives a knee right into her stomach! Golde then brings her back to the vertical base…AND DROPS HER RIGHT ON THE ROPES! STUN GUN! He takes hold of ARIA now, lifting her up and dropping her into the mat with a snap suplex! ARIA is somehow able to stand after that, but she doesn’t have the wherewithal to see Golde right behind her! HE LOCKS IN A SLEEPER HOLD! He immediately takes her down to the mat and it looks like he might be enjoying this! Maybe too much!
Deadprez: ARIA reaches out towards the ropes but has no chance of reaching them! She manages to roll on her back here…perhaps about to look for a counter! SHE TRIES TO REVERSE INTO A COVER! BUT USAGI CATCHES HER LEG! SHE PLACES HER IN AN ANKLE LOCK! ARIA IS NOW LOCKED INTO TWO SUBMISSION HOLDS! Oh my god…they’re playing tug-of-war with her! Trying to pull her away from each other! They might break in her half like a wishbone here folks! Golde lets ARIA go, sending Usagi flying backwards into the ropes! The Wincel is on her in a flash, clotheslining her right over the top rope!
Gavin Kirkland: But the Modern Day Midas isn’t done with Senshi quite yet! He goes to the ropes…IS HE GOING TO DO A DIVE! NO! The crowd was amped up, but Golde just stopped right at the ropes! He instead just rolls under and grabs his opponent…SMASHING HER FACE RIGHT OFF THE APRON! And now Golde throws her right off the barricade and that might be the last we see of Senshi for now! Sometimes you have to divide and conquer, which is what Golde’s plan seems to be as he climbs back on the apron!
Eve: The moment he gets up there he is blindsided by ARIA! SHE GETS HIM WITH A SUPERKICK! He manages to hold onto the ropes, barely keeping himself from falling down to the ringside! ARIA climbs out onto the apron to continue her assault! Claytone Golde makes an attempt at a punch, but ARIA manages to block it! SHE USES THE ROPES TO GET HIM WITH AN ENZIGURI! She picks him up now…FALCON ARROW ON THE APRON! I think she just might have just broken the back of Golde! She rolls him back inside the ring, wanting to capitalize on that devastating maneuver!
Deadprez: ARIA TURN AROUND! Usagi Senshi has climbed on top of the barricade! SHE LEAPS ONTO THE APRON NOW! SHE DROPS ARIA DOWN WITH A MASSIVE ELBOW STRIKE! ARIA is still trying to hang on to that bottom but that might just be a mistake! SENSHI GETS HER WITH THE DOUBLE FOOT STOMP! Senshi needs to take advantage of the wounded Clayton Golde that is ripe for the picking inside that ring! Instead she chooses to go after ARIA on the outside! She brings hher back to her feet…AND GETS HER WITH A CHOP! ARIA JUST GOT A TASTE OF HER OWN MEDICINE!
Gavin Kirkland: AND SHE’S ABOUT TO GET MORE THAN THAT! Senshi gets her with a spinning back heel kick! She is intent on destroying ARIA here! She drags her back up once again and throws her back inside the ring! She picks up above her head…looking for a powerbomb here! AND SHE BRINGS HER DOWN RIGHT ON GOLDE! BUT GOLDE GETS HIS KNEES UP! ARIA is oblirated here as Clayton Golde makes a masterful counter! HE SPRINGS BACK TO HIS FEET and looks for a clothesline on Senshi! Senshi is able to duck right under it…PELE KICK! Golde is back down!
Eve: And now Senshi is looking to put him away! She gets him back up…AND SHE LOOKS FOR THE CRITICAL DARLING! But Golde is able to slip off her shoulders like he manages to slip away from the IRS! He grabs Senshi from behind and his knees into her back with that backstabber! It looks like he might go for a cover…but he doesn’t! Instead The self-proclaimed “Modern Day Midas’” drags both of his opponents towards the middle of the ring! HE DOES A LEG DROP TO ARIA! AND THEN ONE ON SENSHI! No way, it looks like he’s attempting the Golde Rush to both of his opponents here! He’s just going back and forth, rapidly hitting these leg drops! HE GIVES THEM FIVE EACH! And he covers ARIA!

Deadprez: No she’s able to get her shoulder up! Golde looks shocked but immediately tries to cover Senshi instead!

Gavin Kirkland: SENSHI KICKS OUT! Clayton Golde is as surprised as you or I are! That should have been it! He’s going to lock in here and put one of these girls away ASAP! That is exactly what he has in mind as he forces them both up to a standing position, side by side! HE LOOKS FOR THE BRAND DEAL ON BOTH OF THEM! The springboard bulldog doesn’t connect, as both competitors are able to catch him! ARIA and Senshi nod at each other…BEFORE HITTING A DOUBLE BACK SUPLEX ON GOLDE! Enemies working together to take out a common threat!
Eve: But that doesn’t last for long! ARIA goes back after her, getting with that double knee facebuster! She lines up her opponent and takes a sprint towards the corner! ARIA looks for the springboard moonsault! BUT SENSHI ROLLS OUT OF THE WAY! ARIA tries to recover, but Senshi comes from behind with the russian legsweep! She rolls back to her feet! AND SHE LOCKS IN THE DRAGON SLEEPER ON ARIA! This is a grounded variation of the hold, but it is still effective! ARIA brings her knee right into the top of her opponent’s head in an attempt to break free! Senshi is still holding tight, refusing to release the hold!
Deadprez: SHE DELIVERS ANOTHER KNEE AND FINALLY USAGI STUMBLES BACK! Senshi tries to retaliate with a dropkick to the back of her seated opponent, but ARIA is able to avoid it! She instead gets back to her feet and tries for a bicycle knee strike to no avail! Senshi avoids it and goes to the ropes…SHE’S LOOKING FOR A SPRINGBOARD UPPERCUT! ARIA CATCHES HER IN MID-AIR WITH THE CROSS-ARMBREAKER! It’s finally her turn to dish out some submission offense tonight! Usagi is desperate to escape, trying to position herself in a place where her leg can reach that bottom rope!
Gavin Kirkland: She doesn’t get the chance! Clayton Golde is back up and he delivers a stomp right to the face of ARIA! That was literally right on her face! He picks her up…AND DROPS HER WITH A SPINEBUSTER! His attention is now turned towards Senshi as Golde looks to put things away right now! He gets her up for the C’est La Vie! This neckbreaker could be the end! BUT NO! SENSHI BRINGS HER FOOT BACK RIGHT IN THE GOLDEN ARM OF THE GOLDEN ARM! He collapses onto the mat and Usagi Senshi looks to take advantage of her handiwork! MOOD SWINGS! She’s able to get him with the cartwheel sunset flip powerbomb! AND NOW SHE’S GOING FOR THE COVER!

Eve: GOLDE KICKS OUT! Usagi looks disappointed, but keeps her cool! She notices that ARIA is still down so she still has a chance to wrap this one up as quickly as she needs! Senshi begins to make her ascent to the top rope! She’s looking for Fall to Pieces! BUT WAIT! ARIA is back up but Senshi doesn’t see it! SHE GOES OFF THE TOP ROPE! AND ARIA CATCHES HER WITH THAT ZIRCON CUTTER! This could be it! ARIA is about to go for the cover, but Golde comes from behind! HE TRIES TO THROW HER OUT OF THE RING! ARIA REVERSE IT AND SENDS GOLDE OUT INSTEAD! AND NOW SHE GOES FOR THAT PIN!

Deadprez: GOLDE GRABS HER LEG AND PULLS HER OUT OF THE RING! He wasn’t about to share any clout with ARIA tonight! He picks her up…THE 304! BUT INSTEAD OF THE TURNBUCKLE HE USES THE BARRICADE! Golde goes back inside the ring and waits for Senshi to get up! He places his fist across her chest, looking for that One Inch Punch! SENSHI GETS HIM WITH A HEADBUTT BEFORE HE CAN HIT IT! AND SHE GRABS HIM AND PUTS HIM IN A GUILLOTINE CHOKE! It’s locked in and she puts of all her weight behind it! Clayton Golde refuses to drop the floor however, instead lifting up his opponent!
Eve: HE GOES RUNNING INTO THE CORNER! SENSHI IS CRUSHED INTO THE TURNBUCKLE! Golde throws her back towards the center of the ring and makes his own way onto the top rope! Gavin Kirkland: ARIA slides back into the ring now and the two are just staring each other down! ARIA looks a little worse for wear after being sent into the barricade, but she’s far from done here! Usagi comes at her with a running dropkick but she’s able to dodge to the side! ARIA immediately drops down with a standing moonsault, landing right on the lower back of her opponent! She drags Senshi back to her feet and throws her into the corner! HERE COMES THE CANNONBALL SENTON!
Deadprez: She goes to pull Usagi Senshi towards the center of the ring to make the cover, but she doesn’t notice that Golde is right behind her! SUPERKICK RIGHT TO THE BACK OF THE HEAD! DOWN GOES ARIA! The Clout Shark is out for blood as he picks her back up…AND GETS HER WITH A PILEDRIVER! ARIA was starting to mount a comeback there but all three of these competitors have been persistent tonight! Clayton Golde rolls her out of the ring, looking to prey on the remaining Usagi Senshi yet again! HE PICKS HER UP FOR THE GOLDE PILL!
Eve: BUT SHE REVERSES IT! SHE GETS HIM IN THE DRAGON SLEEPER HOLD! Golde, not one to ever let a woman dominate him, reaches up and puts a thumb right in the eye of Senshi! She’s forced to release the hold and Golde is not going to waste a second! He hooks her arms…BUTTERFLY SUPLEX! And now he rolls back to his feet, still holding onto Senshi! HE TURNS HER AROUND AND GETS HER WITH A REGALPLEX! IMPRESSIVE COMBINATION! He goes for the cover!

HE SLAPS HER ACROSS THE FACE! That oughta teach her a lesson! IT DOESN’T! ARIA FIRES BACK WITH A SLAP OF HER OWN! AND SHE’S RAPIDLY FIRING THEM OFF! She’s able to drive the Wincel into the ropes! She grabs him by the hand and sends him across the ring with an irish whip! GOLDE SLIDES RIGHT UNDER THE BOTTOM ROPE! And he just starts walking up the ramp!
Eve: Senshi gets back to her feet and SHE RUNS DOWN THE RAMP AFTER GOLDE! ARIA IS OUT THERE TOO! These two elitists are not going to let him run away from this match! They throw him back inside the ring…AND ARIA GETS HIM WITH A SPINNING ELBOW STRIKE! He stumbles around towards Senshi! WHO DROPS HIM WITH THE PELE KICK! I think Golde is getting all the clout he can handle here tonight! ARIA now is looking for the cover, but Senshi pulls her off! She looks for her own cover, but ARIA breaks it up immediately! The two are back into a stalemate!
Deadprez: Usagi Senshi comes AT HER WITH THE FATALITY! A desperate attempt to get her opponent out of the match! ARIA is able to duck to the side, sparing himself from that devastating strike! Senshi turns back towards her opponent…AND GETS ROCKED BY THE CLAYMORE KICK! ARIA immediately lifts her back up, looking to take advantage of the opening…A CURE FOR YOUR HEADACHE! She gets her with that twisting brainbuster and I have a feeling that Senshi might be taking a little nap here!
Gavin Kirkland: She notices out of the corner of her eye that Clayton Golde is trying to get back to his feet! This could be very bad for The Gigachad if he doesn’t find a way to avoid whatever’s coming next! AND THAT’S THE GOD SHATTERING STAR! ARIA GETS HIM RIGHT ON THE TEMPLE WITH THE RUNNING KNEE STRIKE! There is no way that Golde is getting back up from that! HERE COMES THE COVER!

(There’s a mix of silence and some boos as ARIA crawls off of Clayton Golde. She looks over at Senshi as she has her hand raised.)
Gina Romano: HERE IS YOUR WINNER…ARIA!
Eve: That was an exciting match from start to finish! I don’t think any of these Elitists took their foot off the gas here! There were some very…interesting tactics from Clayton Golde and that just didn’t pan out tonight! Senshi put on a phenomenal performance here as well, with her and ARIA wanting to hurt each other! In the end, ARIA was able to secure the win! Coming off the Fighting Spirit that has to feel good!
(ARIA celebrates her victory as she walks up the ramp. Senshi is seen in the ring staring her down, looking absolutely pissed off. The camera goes to Golde who has rolled over to the ringside and starts checking his phone.)
(Showdown comes back on air, as we see Kyra Phillips standing there firm with a microphone.)
Kyra Phillips: Ladies and gentlemen, we are edging scarily close to Pain For Pride, so allow me to bring in my guest at this time the Specialists Champion; KASAI!!!!
(KASAI appears with the Specialists Championship around her waist. A smirk on her face, as she puts an arm around Kyra, Kyra looking a bit confused.)
KASAI: Well, well, well if it isn’t my bestest friend in the entire world, after my championship, Kyra Phillips! We had a few weeks apart, where I had to focus my time on competition, but now we can once again approach each other and conduct an interview!
Kyra Phillips: Uh yeah, so I wanna ask you first and foremost about your championship defense at Fighting Spirit where you retained successfully against Brianna Hill! How do you feel?
KASAI: Well, I am going to be honest with you. The first championship defense is always the one that gives you the weird itch, and has you feeling some sort of way. I had a lot to bide off, coming from winning at Grand Rampage. But I want to thank Brianna Hill for being such a perennial loser, that she can make things look good. She can make things sound good, but at the end of the day – She is what she is; a percentage loser who does such an impeccable job in the act of losing, I wanna thank her for showing up. And hey, she didn’t truly walk home empty handed. She walked home knowing that she tried and failed! But with that said, we got over the hump and obstacles, now it is time for the big grande event, Pain For Pride! And if you asked me who I would be facing.. I have a list!
(KASAI pulled out a big list that had every possible contender for a match at Pain For Pride on it, but… It was a pretty blank and empty list, as she crumbled it up and threw it away.)
KASAI: Yeah, I have no hell of an idea who that I could face, however.. I don’t think it would be that difficult for me to configure..
Kyra Phillips: Well, it is your championship reign after all, KASAI. You are looking to make it one of the best runs with the gold, plausible. Who in particular do you believe could help you elevate to that next level in the process?
KASAI: Well the thing is that I am not really perplexed by anyone, nor do I really care. I see an opportunity for anyone to face me, and a match at Pain For Pride for the Specialists Championship nonetheless, will REALLY make them want to face me. We are talking about a championship at the biggest event of the year.. If you were an active competitor on the EAW roster, Kyra. Hypothetically here, you would wanna face me right?
Kyra Phillips: Well, I can’t really put myself in those kind of shoes, seeing as I am not an active competitor–
KASAI: I SAID…hypothetically, if you were a competitor in the EAW roster, and you had a chance to face somebody like me at Pain For Pride, would you take the opportunity and do it, or no?
(Kyra looked at her raising an eyebrow, she had never even had that cross in her head as a thought..)
Kyra Phillips: I think that, yeah? I guess I would challenge you? I mean, that would never happen, but since I am put on the spot–
KASAI: See! If we did have a match, be honest though Kyra, it would be kind of a massacre, honestly though. With as much chemistry as we have and possess… I do think that we would be a killer tag team! anyways.. Let me quit rambling and get back to the point of interest, Kyra. You even admitted it, EVERYONE wants this right here!
(KASAI smirked as she pointed at the championship around her waist. She slowly did a stretching motion that highlighted the title even more.)
KASAI: Everyone wants the championship that I have, well speaking from the sense of those people being young up and coming females on the roster. But that is what makes it even more intimidating and scarier, well not for me. But I do know that it does for others! I know that anyone would do anything possible for a shot at this. We are speaking of abandoning families, throwing tangents. Anyone from Showdown would cry for this opportunity, anyone from Voltage would cry for this opportunity, anyone from Dynasty? You guessed it yeah. They would want this championship. And if you want me to be honest, you could take ANYONE from those shows, and I’d definitely defeat them. I promise, and if you want me to even be truthfully honest, Kyra.. you wanna hear it from me?? Because I feel like you wanna hear it from me.
Kyra Phillips: Uhh, alright? So what is it that I wanna hear from you, KASAI?
KASAI: I could defeat a representative on every single show if I had to do that. But of course that is hypothetically speaking here. I wouldn’t be–
(BANG! Kyra Phillips stepped back concerned as KASAI was attacking from behind with a forearm to the back of the neck! KASAI falls to the ground as someone grabs her, lifting her up, AND THROWING HER AGAINST THE WALL! KASAI was thrown abroad by the attack and had no way of self defense.. the person looked down at the injured Specialists Champion as they stood over here.)
Usagi Senshi: Well, no problem then. I am your first.
(With that said, Usagi Senshi walks off, stepping over KASAI as she goes on. Kyra Phillips watches as Usagi marches off with a wide eyed look on her face, and the last shot is Kyra looking at KASAI who is being checked on by medical staff, as Showdown goes back at ringside with Gina Romano.)

( ‘Ready Aim Fire’ by Blue Stahli plays as Matias Burke emerges from the back, an extremely pleased expression on his face, happy to be back in the ring for his return match. )
Gina Romano: Introducing first, from Liverpool, England, weighing in at 185 pounds… “THE DEVIATION” MATIIASSSSSS! BUUURRKKKKEEEEE!
Eve: A very interesting matchup! Matias Burke is returning from injury tonight, and after having significant time away from the ring, he’s looking to make a mark immediately with Pain For Pride approaching!
Deadprez: Understandably so. The kid is talented, but injuries can take down anyone and this is a very opportunity first match back for ‘em.
( ‘It’s My Life’ by Bon Jovi blares throughout the PA speakers as Vinnie “The Complication” Calvetti struts out from the back with a confident grin on his face. He ignores the crowd as he focuses solely on himself, and the task at hand. )
Gina Romano: His opponent, from Newark, New Jersey, weighing in at 245 pounds… VINNIE “THE COMPLICATION” CALVETTI!
Gavin Kirkland: And with a return comes a debut! A lot of promise with Vinnie! I mean, just look at the size! He’s walking in with a huge advantage, and that’s definitely going to be a big factor of this match.
Deadprez: Big factor but it does not guarantee anything! We’ve already seen what Matias is capable of in the past, but a win for either man does put them up a notch.
( DING DING DING! )
Eve: Both men cautiously circle around the ring, trying to get a feel for one another. The much bigger Vinnie tries to step into a powerful collar and elbow tie-up, but Matias sidesteps it and starts kicking the legs! He drills Vinnie with a forearm! Matias hits off the rpes!
Gavin Kirkland: But as he does, Vinnie follows him with a kitchen sink! The knee is driven straight into Matias’s ribs as he flips frontwards, falling to the center of the ring on impact. Matias is writhing in pain as Vinnie picks him up.
Deadprez: Vinnie nails Matias with a big body punch! And then another! He takes his wrist and irish whips him into the turnbuckles. Matias winces out as Vinnie charges into a corner splash! Matias is reeling against the corner as Vinnie takes the wrist and yanks him to the center of the ring.
Gavin Kirkland: Vinnie gutwrenches the waist, starting to lift him up for a hurricanrana– but Matias lands behind him! Vinnie has no idea what just happened, as Matias sends him flying with a dropkick to the back!
Eve: Down he goes! Vinnie uses the ropes to rise, and Matias calls him up. Matias charges into a clothesline over the ropes, but Vinnie ducks under and clotheslines him over instead! Matias falls to the apron, barely hanging on. Vinnie hits the ropes with intention of knocking Matias off–
Deadprez: ONLY FOR MATIAS TO CATCH HIM WITH AN ENZUIGIRI! VINNIE IS STUNNED! MATIAS TAKES THE ROPES AND SPRINGBOARDS UP! SOARING THROUGH THE AIR!
Gavin Kirkland: VINNIE CATCHES HIM IN MID AIR WITH AN EUROPEAN UPPERCUT! WHAT A STRIKE! Matias is flattened from that!
Eve: He wastes no time, dragging Matias up and nailing him with another european uppercut! Matias falls into the turnbuckles, in shock. Vinnie throws another one! And he wraps his arms around Matias, biel tossing him to the center of the ring!
Deadprez: Matias is writhing in pain, holding at his back. I can bet he’s in pain because what a vicious throw! Vinnie approaches Matias and deadlifts him up from gutwrench position! Vinnie marches around the ring while holding Matias, and then slams him down with a GUTWRENCH POWERBOMB! STRAIGHT TO THE COVER!

Eve: Only a two count! Matias rolls over, rubbing at that back. Vinnie approaches Matias, dropping a knee. He drops another knee, and reaches for the chin. Vinnie applies a chinlock, pressing his knee on Matias’s back for added pressure.
Gavin Kirkland: You can HEAR the agony Matias is in as he’s screaming out! He wails out in pain, and Vinnie pulls on that chin lock! He reaches for the ropes, but he’s nowhere near close to them as he just continues to get battered!
Deadprez: The fans are starting to rally behind Matias though! Fans begin clapping as Matias slowly works his way up. He elbows Vinnie in the ribs. He elbows him again! He starts to slowly rise, and pulls Vinnie over with a snapmare! Wow! Surprising power!
Eve: Even Vinnie is shocked as Matias ducks under and sweeps him to a knee! Single leg dropkick to the back of the head! You heard the smack of that from all the way over here, as he makes the cover!

Gavin Kirkland: ONLY A ONE COUNT! Vinnie rolls over, shaking his head. Matias follows with a combination of elbows and kicks. He takes the wrist for an irish whip, but Vinnie swats his hand down and headbutts him! Matias is clearly stunned after that one!
Deadprez: But when Vinnie gets closer, MATIAS LEAPS INTO A GAMENIGIRI! Vinnie falls to his knees, so Matias rises and drops him with a superkick! Vinnie rolls out, holding the side of his head! And now Matias is feeling it as he hits off the ropes and darts through the ropes into a suicide dive!
Eve: He quickly pulls Vinnie up and throws him in! Vinnie is slowly rising, as Matias runs up the steps, takes the ropes, and SPRINGBOARDS UP INTO A FOREARM! AGAIN! HE GOES TO THE COVER!

Deadprez: Vinnie gets a shoulder up! Matias gets him with a pinfall that time, though! Vinnie is reeling as Matias calls for him up. Matias leaps up the middle rope, twisting into a crossbod– VINNIE BOOTS HIM IN THE AIR! WOW! WHAT A CONNECTION ON THAT BOOT!
Gavin Kirkland: Matias is clearly lost, and Vinnie pulls him up. He takes the head, marching as he hoists him up into the air with a vicious suplex. Vinnie rolls over and flexes, then takes Matias’s head and starts pummeling him with punches.
Eve: It’s nasty impact on all of those punches, as Matias tries his best to cover up but he can’t. The referee warns Vinnie, but it’s no use as he keeps beating him down.
Deadprez: Vinnie finally lets go, as he drags Matias up. He turns him and takes the waist, trying for a german suplex… But Matias stomps the toe! Then he elbows him! But Vinnie is so much bigger than he can absorb some of these strikes! SO HE TOSSES HIM WITH A GERMAN SUPLEX ANYWAYS!
Gavin Kirkland: DON’T DOUBT THE AGILITY OF MATIAS BURKE, BECAUSE HE LANDS ONTO HIS FEET! Vinnie doesn’t even know it! But then he turns around and realizes! Matias charges in– Burke ducks and takes the head! He runs up the ropes into a TORNADO DDT!
Eve: Matias kips up and steps out, climbing the top rope! Vinnie slowly rises up… MATIAS FLIES OFF THE TOP WITH A MTEORA! DOWN VINNIE GOES, AS MATIAS HOOKS THE LEGS FOR A COVER!

Gavin Kirkland: KICK OUT JUST IN TIME! But Matias is far from discouraged! Vinnie slowly works his way up, and Matias hits the ropes! BIG DROPKICK! Vinnie is stunned, and he swings for Matias! Matias ducks and swings to the apron! Vinnie turns back and charges in again! Enzuigiri stuns him!
Deadprez: Vinnie is hunched over in pain, as MATIAS TAKES THE ROPES AND SLINGSHOTS INTO A FAMOUSER! HE SPIKES HIS HEAD STRAIGHT INTO THE MAT! ANOTHER COVER FROM MATIAS!

Eve: VINNIE KICKS OUT AGAIN! A lot of resilience for the rookie! Matias rises, calling Vinnie up. Vinnie slowly rises, as MATIAS CHARGES INTO THE BLAST–VINNIE CATCHES HIM WITH A VICIOUS CLOTHESLINE IN MID AIR! OH MY GOD!
Gavin Kirland: Hardly any signs of life from Matias after that! Vinnie drags him up, taking the waist! German suplex connects this time! He rolls over, with another one! He holds on, lifting him up for a third one, he calls that the ‘NEWARK SHUFFLE!”
Deadprez: Three german suplexes in a row and Matias is not moving at all! Vinnie just made a major impact with that one! You can see the exhaustion after that string of moves, but he crawls over and hooks the legs for a pin!

Eve: MATIAS KICKS OUT! JUST BARELY! He’s holding at the back of his head, and Vinnie is pissed at the referee for that! Matias rolls away, clutching the back.
Deadprez: Vinnie approaches Matias, dragging him up and throwing him into the turnbuckles! He gets him with a barrage of punches, and there’s nothing Matias can do about it. He then takes the wrist and hammerwhips him across the ring! The impact sends Matias’s body barreling over the top rope as he falls to the apron!
Gavin Kirkland: Matias gasps for air, holding at his side in deep pain. He lies on the apron and Vinnie grins, dusting his hands off. Vinnie approaches Matias, but Matias drives him down with a HOTSHOT! Vinnie falls back, holding his throat! Matias leans on the ropes, gasping for air!
Eve: But regardless, he calls him back up! Vinnie rises, as MATIAS SPRINGBOARDS UP, FLYING INTO A CUTTER! HE RISES AND STEPS OVER VINNIE, JUMPING INTO A STANDING MOONSAULT! HE MAKES THE COVER!

Eve: Huge impact from that one, as Vinnie rises, breathing heavily. He drags up Matias and takes him in a full nelson! He tries for the ‘Jersey Slam’, but Matias backflips over him! Vinnie quickly turns around! ‘BLAST POINT!’
Gavin Kirkland: IT CONNECTS! VINNIE IS OUT OF IT! MATIAS FALLS OVER, DESPERATELY HOOKING THE LEGS FOR THE COVER!

Gavin Kirkland: But Vinnie works his way up and throws his body at the ropes! Matias falls over, getting crouched on the top rope! Vinnie climbs up with him, punching him! Vinnie punches him again! He takes the head and the tights, lifting him..
Eve: But Matias fights back! Matias punches him back! Matias slams his head onto the turnbuckle! He looks for a sunset flip powerbomb, but Vinnie headbutts him! Matias is dazed! Vinnie takes his head and lifts him up… FOR A SUPERPLEX! THE RING SHOOK OF THAT IMPACT!
Deadprez: Matias holds his body, writhing in pain! Vinnie rolls over, gasping for air. He looks down at Matias and slowly works his way up. He pulls him up and throws him to the ropes!

( Matias rises to his feet, pleased with a victory after making the effort for his return. The referee takes his arm and firmly raises it up, as he pumps his fist in celebration. )
Eve: Strong victory for Matias Burke! It took a lot of effort as Vinnie brought his absolute all tonight, and he’s got nothing to be discouraged by!
Deadprez: If Vinnie keeps at it, he will definitely have a bright future here on Showdown… But Matias wanted it more and he’s getting back right on track after returning from injury.
( Vinnie is still trying to recover, completely stunned as Matias rolls out and tags many fans on his way to the back. )
(Backstage we see Mikaela Street standing at the entrance way, on stage as she looks out at the fans and smiles.)
Mikaela Street: EAW Universe, please let me introduce at this time…. Daryl Kinkade, Halsey Neel, and Pandora Paisley…. THE BRITISH INVASION!
(The crowd boos as “Refuse, Resist” by Sepultura plays through the entire arena. Daryl Kinkade comes out, followed by Halsey Neel and Pandora Paisley. They are all in street clothes as they all three flank Mikaela Street as the theme dies down.)
Mikaela Street: Thank you for joining me, I wanted to ask first and foremost, we saw how The British Invasion was banned from the building and all of Fighting Spirit. I know that was really hard as Kassidy Heart used her power to do so, which many would also say affected what happened with Daryl Kinkade as well. I would like to ask, what do you thoughts that the Jaded Hearts are the new Unified Tag Team Champions?
(Pandora rolls her eyes as Halsey Neel speaks first.)
Halsey Neel: How the hell do you think we feel? Pandora and I should be the Unified Tag Team Champions right now. The Jaded Hearts are petty stat padders that do not care about the division and all they care about is their history making record of being the one tag team to win the title more than anyone, okay great, they got their wish and did it the dirty way, by first costing us at Grand Rampage, and then banning us from the show itself. (The crowd roars at the sound of that match, both Halsey and Pandora look at one another and nod, as Pandora looks turns to Mikaela.)
Pandora Paisley: And we invite the Jaded Hearts to give us an answer, matter of fact, we will invite those two twats to Showdown.
Mikaela Street: Well, you heard it here first, The British Invasion has made the challenge, and now all that is left is for you Daryl Kinkade. I know how disappointing it is to not be standing here Main Eventing, Pain For Pride, but what we saw was an incredible match, unfortunately both you and Jon Kelton took each other out and that left it open for TLA and Adam Lucas, where we did see the whole ending of that fiasco and how Dr. Bethany Blue was involved. Your thoughts?
(Daryl Kinkade chuckles a little, as he looks at Mikaela and then to the camera.)
Daryl Kinkade: I should be Main Eventing Pain For Pride, but instead I have some idiot like Jon Kelton costing me the match because he knew, that he didn’t have a chance to win either, It’s pretty sad to be honest, but whatever, for I don’t care the problems between Adam Lucas and his missus, clearly he isn’t satisfying her, and then we have TLA, who just walks in here and is automatically now Main Eventing Pain For Pride with another twat that wasn’t in the brand all season, it’s pretty bloody insulting if you ask me. But I’m not going to stand here and cry or whine, instead I’m going to make things happen much like Pandora and Halsey just did and….
(Suddenly ‘ Unfuckwittable ‘ by Kid Cudi starts to play as the fans stand up and cheer as Jon Kelton slowly walks out, he heads to the ramp stage area while The British Invasion stand there glaring at him. He nods with a mic in hand as his theme dies down.)
Jon Kelton: Sorry to break up this party, and all but I couldn’t help but overhearing that you were planning on making things happen, well that is funny, because so am I. See, I’m not happy that the Main Event at Pain For Pride slipped through my fingers, and a lot of that was because of you Daryl. Now personally I don’t care what happens with the ladies, if they want to go after the Unified Tag Team Championships, more power to them, but this si about me and you.
Daryl Kinkade: I couldn’t agree more bruv.
Jon Kelton: Good, because the way I see it, since neither of us are going to Main Event Pain For Pride, we have some unsettled business, so how about Daryl? Me and you… PAIN FOR PRIDE.
Daryl Kinkade: Oh, that sounds enticing bruv, but I need a little more.

(Jon ponders for a second, he then looks out at the crowd which all scream “YES”. Jon turns back to the Daryl and nods.)

(Pandora and Halsey smile as the grab Daryl who is also smiling, and they walk toward the back. Jon Kelton nods and then turns to Mikaela Street.)

(Mikaela shrugs her shoulders as it cuts elsewhere backstage.)
(We cut to the office of Kennedy Street, and we see her standing opposite Alana Starr. As always, the two are very congenial, and Alana is hanging on every single one of Kennedy’s words. She seems almost star struck, some might think that she is in love, and she probably was. Either way, whatever Kennedy was saying, Alana was ready to listen.)
Kennedy Street: Yes Honey, this is a very exciting time for our roster, and I want to make sure that every single one of them gets something out of it.
Alana Starr: You are SOOO generous. I doubt that there is anyone in this world as good as you. In fact, I knew there wasn’t.
(Kennedy nods, Alana was right, no question about it. Kennedy had a very high opinion of themselves anyway, but it never hurt to hear someone else saying it.)
Kennedy Street: Pain for Pride is the pinnacle of our business, and what happened to Chef Viz has really put a dampener on what we were going to do. I might not like Ms. Extreme, but I understand that her and TLA will put on a show for our brand, and we need that. I just think that the roster needs to realize that this is the time for every single one of them to step up and take this opportunity that I am going to give them
Alana Starr: And I’m sure they do. You tell them enough and rightfully so.
(Kennedy chuckles.)
Kennedy Street: That’s why I am going to make sure that every single person on our roster has a relevant match at Pain for Pride. Those that didn’t qualify for the Cash in the Vault, or indeed anything else, they will be placed in the 24/7 Battle Royal.
Alana Starr: That is quite an honor.
Kennedy Street: That it is Honey. Win that, and they get a show and whichever championship they crave. It doesn’t get much better than that.
Alana Starr: I hope that they realize how much you are doing for them being the scenes. I don’t want them to take advantage of your generosity. I won’t stand for that. Not GOOD.
Kennedy Street: If they know what is good for them, they will take my offer at face value. And if not, they will find themselves as part of a trade. See how they like it working on the red or yellow brand, for General Managers that don’t care anywhere near as much as I do. Since I took over, I have always had the roster’s best interests at heart, if anyone doesn’t recognize that, then they can move on.
(Kennedy is serious, and she does indeed want to do what is best. Alana can see that the situation is troubling her, and why shouldn’t it be seeing that a lot of things had already taken a different turn. As such, she decides to pander to Kennedy’s ego some more, and she wasn’t bothered by how humiliating some might think it was.)
Alana Starr: Kennedy, I want you to know something. You are literally the best General Manager in this company, and EAW is very lucky to have you. You are incredible, and if the bar stools in this company don’t understand that, then they should try and work for some of the people that I’ve worked for in my time. It’s rare to have someone who cares as much as you do, and these people should learn from you, and not resent what you do. They should see you as I do… as the most amazing person alive. Then, if they listen, perhaps they will make something of themselves, just like I did when you took me under your wing.
(Kennedy doesn’t seem surprised by this in the slightest, and anyone who didn’t know the two would think that Alana was just blowing smoke up her ass. But they were like sisters, and would do anything for each other, and when Alana said these things, she meant it. If Showdown listened to Kennedy, it would easily be the strongest brand in the company, if it wasn’t already. Unfortunately, there were always bad apples… and Showdown had its fair share.)
Alana Starr: The ones that matter are the ones who love you like I do. The rest… well there is a draft coming up isn’t there?
(Kennedy smirks.)
Kennedy Street: That’s true Honey… I won’t say this out loud, but it will be an audition for next season. Guess I’ll find out who truly has blue flowing through their veins. But, that’s for another time, because right now I am making matches, and these will be formalized by the end of the week. (The camera returns to the area as “Toxic” by Britney Spears starts playing and Madison Kaline enters the arena to loud boos from the crowd. She has a smile on her face as she heads to the ring.)
Gina Romano: Ladies and gentlemen! Please welcome our special guest commentator for the forthcoming contest. EAW Hall of Famer… MADISON KALINE!
Eve: Here comes Madison Kaline heading down to the commentary table. It should be no surprise that she is here because our next match is the final match of the tournament she created.
Gavin Kirkland: I am personally glad that she is here and decided to get a bird’s eye view of the action.
(Madison reaches the commentary table and takes at the end of the table and puts on her headset.)

Eve: Here comes Auburn Ware who is nothing short of energetic and determined to win this match and make her way to Pain for Pride.

(Auburn takes a quick lap around the ring, slapping hands with the fans sitting in the front row before she enters the ring. Deadprez: Auburn and Daniella are taking this a little slower to avoid making mistakes, but now the ladies lock up in the center of the ring AND DANIELLA TAKES THE EARLY ADVANTAGE WITH A BOOT TO THE GUT!
Gavin Kirkland: Auburn doubled over as Atlas starts throwing the forearms into Auburn’s face and backing her into the ropes before whipping her to the other side. Auburn comes back and Daniella grabs hold of her–

Gavin Kirkland: This match is also going to be a difference in styles. Auburn likes to fly a little more as opposed to Daniella who mainly uses her legs to create most of her offense. They are also both hot.

Eve: There you have it, Madison. Your tournament is over and we officially know who is going to face you at Pain for Pride. How do you feel about the result?
Madison Kaline: I would have accepted any result the tournament would have brought because that’s the type of competitor I am. I am that good.
(Auburn is back to her feet as her arm is raised in victory. After the referee raises her arm, the referee goes back to check on Daniella and slowly helps her out of the ring.)
Gavin Kirkland: This is going to be an amazing match that will no doubt steal the show, Madison. You put on an amazing tournament.
Madison Kaline: Of course I did. I guess it’s time for me to go congratulate the winner, huh?
(Madison takes off her headset before leaving the commentary table. She grabs a microphone from the timekeeper’s area and heads into the ring.)
Deadprez: I guess we’re going to hear Madison congratulate Auburn on winning the tournament. There’s something about Madison I really don’t trust.
Madison Kaline: Here is the winner of the first annual Madison Kaline Worthless Rookie Tournament… AUBURN WARE!!
(The crowd cheers once again at Auburn winning the tournament. Madison has a smile on her face and gives Auburn a small round of applause before continuing to speak.)
Madison Kaline: Congratulations, Auburn. This is a monumental moment for you, Miss Auburn, because you have won a prize beyond your wildest dreams… a match at Pain for Pride.
(The smile on Madison’s face quickly becomes more sinister before Auburn as a chance to really notice.)
Madison Kaline: …against ME!
(Before Auburn could do anything, Madison hauls back and CLOCKS Auburn in the head with the microphone.)
Eve: WHAT THE HELL IS THIS? MADISON GOES TO CONGRATULATE AUBURN AND ENDS UP CLOBBERING HER WITH THE MICROPHONE! WHAT A CHEAP SHOT!
Gavin Kirkland: Auburn should have expected something like that to happen. It’s her own fault… but she’s still hot.
Deadprez: Auburn was staggered back after the microphone shot to the head as Madison hits the ropes on the other side. Madison comes back AT FULL SPEED AND STRIKES DOWN AUBURN WITH THE CLOTHESLINE FROM HELL!
Gavin Kirkland: POOR AUBURN JUST EXPERIENCED “THE AFTERLIFE” AND SHE IS OUT COLD! MADISON IS MAKING A STATEMENT HERE TONIGHT AGAINST HER PAIN FOR PRIDE OPPONENT!
(Madison takes one last look at her Pain for Pride opponent and pats her on the head before she leaves the ring.)
Eve: Auburn won a Pain for Pride match, but I think Madison is dead set on making sure Auburn is sorry for ever winning in the first place. Cheap tactics by Madison Kaline.
Deadprez: Auburn might have won the match and the tournament, but it’s Madison Kaline who ends up getting the last laugh. This is going to be a rivalry that will no doubt be heating up as we head to Pain for Pride. Congrats once again to Auburn on the win.
(The final shot shows Madison heading up the entrance ramp with a devilish smirk on her face before cutting to Auburn, who is holding her head and being checked on by the referee before the camera cuts elsewhere.)
(Showdown would come back on air, as we pan to see Terry Chambers. He was making a clear proposition here, as he spoke firmly.)
Terry Chambers: Look, I am not gonna sugarcoat nor beat around the bush. I am a legend amidst EAW royalty. I have continued to make my namesake, I have continued to do what is asked of me, time and time again. I have continued to engage with the truth since emerging once more in EAW. I am ready for some damn solace in my career, I want an opponent that can reaffirm everything. I want an opponent that truly turns the Terry Chambers name around. So at Pain For Pride, I want you to make something happen, the sooner I know my opponent, the greater it can be for me.
(Terry clamored. And it was becoming more evident who he was speaking with, as the camera turned around it would show none other than Kennedy Street who was allowing Terry to talk.)
Kennedy Street: Well, while you coming to me for an opponent at Pain For Pride is certainly interesting, at the same time.. Why don’t you tell me? It has been a busy period for me, you aren’t even the first person with long hair over the height of 6’1 to be barging into my office demanding a spotlight at Pain For Pride in the last hour. But… you came back pissing absolutely EVERYONE off. Why don’t you tell me who you wanna face at the big show?
Terry Chambers: Look. I just need the showcase, that is all I need. I need the opportunity, I need the valiant effort. I am begging for something. I am starving with hunger out there. I will do anything, whatever it takes to become World Champion again, so I ask. You can go down the entire Showdown roster, hell. You can make the call to Dynasty or Voltage, you have all the power to make the decision here.
Kennedy Street: Anyone…? That is really interesting, so you really don’t mind in the grand scheme, as long as you have the opportunity to prove yourself?
Terry Chambers: Anyone.
(Kennedy thought to herself, that was intriguing. Terry seemed open and down for practically anything…)
Kennedy Street: That is great, and well then–
(Before she could continue, the office door would open and the camera would show the expression of Terry Chambers looking quite annoyed, before it showed the person standing there….)
Kirk Redwood: Sorry to barge in here but…
(Kirk Redwood walked in, a man who has had it out with Terry Chambers over the last few weeks..)
Kirk Redwood: I heard what it is that you two have to offer and well, since the opportunity is there. Since he said he wants to face anyone, and he is desperate for some sort of showcase, why not me? I wanna face Terry.
(Kirk looked at Terry, and then at Kennedy waiting for the answer, but before Kennedy could speak again, she would be interrupted with the laughter of Terry Chambers.)
Terry Chambers: I already beat you once, and you really think that I wanna tunnel myself down this rabbit hole again, Kirk? There is nothing left for me to accomplish and satisfy my needs with, Kirk. I have nothing left that I can prove in a match against you. It’s a colossal waste of time-
(And as he said that, suddenly the door would open even more as Scott Diamond walked in. He looked angered as he wasn’t about to hear any of the 3 out.)
Scott Diamond: That is funny, I heard you running your mouth, Terry. Talking about how facing Kirk is a great waste of time for you, but the question is; you defeated him. But you haven’t beaten me.
Kirk Redwood: Hey, this is business between myself and Terry, why are you barging into it?
Scott Diamond: You two couldn’t keep your business contained, and then look what happened??
Kirk Redwood: Look, you were there and when we were fighting all over the arena, you sort of just got in the way–
Kennedy Street: Alright guys!
(Just as the scenery in the room was getting tense between the 3 men, Kennedy chimed in to break the tension up.)
Kennedy Street: Okay that is enough every single one of you. Before I was interrupted the first time by Kirk Redwood, I really had to run down a whole bunch of ideas. But then it came to me. Thank you for making my job easier, I guess!? But I figured it out. At Pain For Pride it is going to be Terry Chambers, Kirk Redwood and Scott Diamond in a triple threat match! Since you all want to fight all over the backstage area in the first place, and cause destruction..
(The three men didn’t have much to say, as they looked at Kennedy and allowed her to continue forth..)
Kennedy Street: This can be a big time match up for each of you, because you can really put on a show and tell for whom I should take in the draft next season! Alright with that being said, does that sound good for all of you?
Kirk Redwood: That is perfect for me.
Scott Diamond: It’s something to sink my teeth in at Pain For Pride..
Terry Chambers: I guess this’ll do to prove my worth once more..
Kennedy Street: Perfect, now in a single file line or all together, whatever you three wanna do, GET OUT! Anddd– don’t cause any ruckus near my office, or I will call security.
(They all left one after the other as Kennedy Street just looked on and sighed. But as they were doing that, and once they were all gone.. Kennedy picked up her phone and began scrolling through contacts.)
Kennedy Street: Okay… Captain Charisma… is somewhere in here..
(Kennedy looked for Captain Charisma in her phone contacts, and with that being said the screen would fade out as Showdown would go elsewhere.)
(The scene cuts back to ringside, where Deadprez is preparing for the next match.)
Deadprez: We are well on our way now; Pain for Pride season is well and truly off and running. EVERYONE seems to recognize how important this time of year is.
Eve: If you are not on the card already, you want to do something, anything that gets you there. And you can feel that tension.
Gavin Kirkland: If you want to know what…
(‘Be Legendary’ by Pop Evil kicks in, and the crowd erupts.)
Eve: Seems people don’t want to hear what you got to say Gavin.
(The song kicks in, and the noise level goes up still further as Adam Lucas steps out onto the staging)
Deadprez: There were lots of people had a bad night at Fighting Spirit… it can be argued that this man had the worst of them all.
Gavin Kirkland: Damn straight. Messed up his chance to be at Pain for Pride, and then for good measure got dropped by his wife. And I’m guessing D-I-V-O-R-C-E is now on the cards.
(Adam only nods and seems very subdued as he starts to walk down the ramp towards the ring. He already has a mic in his hand and is obviously ready to speak. He reaches the ring and slides under the rope, before getting back to his feet and lifting his hand.)
Adam Lucas: Cut my music.
(There is a tone in his voice that is immediately picked up on, a tone that is nothing like what we are used to.)
Gavin Kirkland: There’s an angry guy right there. Chill out dude.
Deadprez: Chill out? He isn’t angry, he’s heartbroken Gavin.
(As the music fades, Adam pauses as an ‘Adam’ chant starts to fill the arena, sympathy flowing over.)
Adam Lucas: Thank you…
(A roar is heard, but once again Adam doesn’t react, not feeling like he is able.)
Adam Lucas: Some people will never understand the reason why Beth and I fell in love. We were so different yes, but somehow it worked. She was everything to me, the person that I felt like I would spend the rest of my life with.
Deadprez: Did you notice that… ‘was’ everything to me. This isn’t good.
Adam Lucas: At one point, we were best friends, the very best… and we were so damn happy. But then as this season panned out… something happened. It all started when Beth took it on herself to drop Kassidy with the brick ahead of our match, things started to… change, and I was left answering more and more questions about our relationship. I should have seen it… I know I should, and I don’t care if anyone calls me a pussy, or a coward, because all I was trying to do was save my wife, and my marriage. And anyone in this arena right now would have done the same.
(Adam paces the ring, giving the impression that he really didn’t want to be there, but not knowing what else to do.)
Deadprez: This is heard to watch, Adam seems… broken. Yes, broken is the right word.
Gavin Kirkland: It’s great, isn’t it?
Eve: Oh, come on Gavin, be a human for once.
Adam Lucas: But then, costing me the match at Fighting Spirit, because she thought that it was for the best. Not believing in me to get it done. Laying me out… in an attempt to make some kind of messed up point. What am I supposed to think huh? What I am supposed to believe? That all of THIS is what I need? Am I supposed to think, cool… I get it now, I know what I need to do. How stupid was I? And then we have a laugh about it. NO.
(The way he shouts no shocks a few people, but they don’t have time to dwell on it as he continues.)
Adam Lucas: I WANT answers, I want to try and make some sense of this, but I know that I’m not going to get them. Because right now, Beth won’t talk to me. As always, Beth doesn’t feel like she needs to explain herself to someone who was supposed to be the most important aspect of her life. I haven’t seen, or heard from her since Fighting Spirit, and she hasn’t been home not even for a change of clothes. She’s not been at her private practice, and not even her parents have seen her. I’m so so angry, but I’m not even allowed that, because at the same time I’m so concerned. This isn’t right… this isn’t what I deserve. THIS IS BULLSHIT.
Deadprez: I have never seen Adam Lucas like this. He’s normally so self-assured, but he seems so… weak I guess is the word.
Eve: Right now, we are looking at a man who believes he has nothing.
(The crowd start to work up a chant, trying to lift his spirits, but he quickly shuts it down.)
Adam Lucas: NO. SHUT UP!!!
(This shocks the crowd again, but they do almost immediately quieten down.)
Adam Lucas: I’m sorry, but I don’t want, nor need your sympathy right now. All I want right now is for Beth to come down that ring now, her eyes glaring at me. I want her to tell me, to my face, why when SHE messed up so badly at Fighting Spirit and cost me, she was the one who took offence. Beth… I don’t know if you are listening or not, maybe you’ve already given up on us, but I haven’t. Tell me where you are, let me know that you’re OK. Shit, if you’re in the arena, come down to this right now and let’s talk about this…
(He looks up the rampway, more in hope than anything else, and unsurprisingly, Beth doesn’t come out.)
Adam Lucas: FINE!!!
(Adam lowers his head, but the camera still catches him biting his bottom lip, his emotions starting to get the better of him. He takes a few deep breaths, before he finds a camera, and steps right up to it)
Adam Lucas: If you’re too damn pig headed to come and talk to me, then I’ll come and find you. And when I do… you WILL explain yourself. I at the very least deserve that.
(Adam almost throws the mic to the floor and pushes the camera away. He then slides out the ring and starts making his way up the ramp, not even pausing to interact with the fans.)
Deadprez: Wow, that is one individual at the end of his tether.
Eve: It’s the first time I have seen Adam Lucas ready to crack.
Gavin Kirkland: If you ask me, Adam wants to hope he doesn’t find Beth… if she doesn’t want to talk to him, she might go ahead and finish the job.
Deadprez: That’s her husband, she wouldn’t do that?
Gavin Kirkland: That’s Dr. Bethany Blue… are you certain?

(Ashlynn points at her brain telling everyone she’s smart.)
Gavin Kirkland: Gotta give it to her when it comes to strategy.
Deadprez: After several moments with Candice and Damien shaking their heads at Ashlynn’s tactics to start off, the two finally lock up in a collar and elbow tie-up! It seems to be a struggle for a moment or two before Candice looks like she manages to gain control over him and get him in a side headlock before flipping him forward on his back, but then Damien uses his legs to clip the head causing her to let go as they race back up to their feet and Candice charges at him with a full head of steam – BUT DAMIEN COUNTERS WITH A FLAPJACK AS CANDICE HITS THE TURNBUCKLE FACE FIRST!!
Eve: Damien looks to take advantage here as he runs off the ropes full speed and drives both of the knees into the back of Candice before dropping her with a jumping neckbreaker out of the corner. Damien looks to be proud of his work in the early goings as he keep an eye on Ashlynn at ringside who is like a vulture waiting for her moment to strike.
Gavin Kirkland: Damien turns his attention back to Candice picking her up by the head, BUT CANDICE DELIVERS A FEW SHOTS TO THE RIB CAGE BEFORE SHE SLAPS HIS HANDS AWAY AND DELIVERS A STIFF FOREARM THAT DROPS HIM DOWN TO A KNEE WHICH SEEMS TO HAVE CAUGHT DAMIEN A BIT OFF GUARD! Candice then repeatedly drives her elbow straight into his face like she’s got some vendetta against him. Candice grabs him by the head and repeatedly rams her knee into the face of Damien before running off the ropes and hits a shining wizard to the back of the head and Candice feels momentum on her side as she begs for him to stand up measuring him up early. Damien is back up and turns around to Candice who picks him up in a fireman’s carry….BUT DAMIEN SLIPS OUT FROM BEHIND AND RAMS HER SHOULDER FIRST INTO THE RING POST THROUGH THE SECOND TURNBUCKLE! BUT LOOK OUT –

Don’t forget that Ashlynn and Candice have some history dating back to the very start of the season. Ashlynn looks to get her into position for a standard suplex, but Candice is not going to let that happen as she drops to a knee as she connects with a jawbreaker as that sends Ashlynn back….and Candice follows that up with a sliding dropkick to the knee cap as she takes Ashlynn down to one knee – AND THEN A SPINNING HEEL KICK TO THE FACE OF ASHLYNN! Ashlynn might be in some deep danger here as Candice then makes her way to the corner and goes up top! AND SHE GOES FOR A FROG SPLASH –
Deadprez: BUT ASHLYNN GOT THE KNEES UP SAVING HERSELF! Candice went high risk and it might end up costing her here. Ashlynn now uses the ropes to help pull herself up before grabbing Candice’s head and uses her face as a battering ram! Ashlynn looks to be in complete control before running full speed off the ropes….BUT CANDICE JUMPS UP DELIVERING A LOU THESZ PRESS DRIVING THE PUNCHES TO THE FACE OF ASHLYNN RAPIDLY!! Ashlynn crawls away and pulls herself up using the ropes trying to recuperate a little bit as Damien is back up in the corner, AND ASHLYNN CHARGES RIGHT AT HIM BUT DAMIEN STOPS HER DEAD IN HER TRACKS BY GETTING HIS BOOT UP BEFORE HOPPING UP ON THE SECOND TURNBUCKLE AND LEAPS OFF GOING FOR A DROPKICK – AND IT CONNECTS!

Candice wastes no time in going back on the attack knowing the window of opportunity could be small as she hammers away at the back of Damien before picking him up off the mat, BUT DAMIEN SLAPS THE HANDS AWAY AND THROWS A HARD FOREARM SHOT TO THE FACE OF CANDICE AS SHE STUMBLES BACK A FEW FEET! Eve: Damien though is trying his best to crawl away and slides out of the ring but Candice isn’t letting it happen as she grabs ahold of his foot! Damien’s upper body is already out of the ring but Candice isn’t letting him go anywhere as Damien tries to shake her off but it isn’t working as Candice is trying to drag him back to the center of the ring. She successfully manages to drag him back to the middle of the ring but Damien uses his free foot to kick her right in the face as she stumbles back a few feet holding her nose. Damien takes this window of opportunity to try and scramble out of the ring again but once again Candice runs and stops him near the corner….DAMIEN KICKS HER IN THE KNEE CAP! Maybe that was a perfect trap set by Damien.
Gavin Kirkland: And now Damien lifts her up and sets her in the corner before he sits her on the top rope! What does he have in mind here? As we said already, it looked like Damien was closing in on the eon, but Vandice picked the perfect spot being in the right place at the right time in capitalizing and picking up the win.
(The final shot is of Candice celebrating her win up the ramp while Ashlynn is angry with the result in the ring while Danien sits up against the barricade looking disappointed in himself with how that ended.)

(That voice surprised everyone, as a certain individual slowly made his way down the ramp. He walked slowly as he was corroded in nothing but Judgment.)

(It was none other than the most who was so close… who had the Answers World Championship in the palm of his hands. He seemed so off put by what had occured, there was nothing but soulless intent behind his eyes, more than usual, really. Solomon entered the ring…)
Solomon Stane: At Fighting Spirit, I was about to have my coronation. I had Viz, torturing him. There was nothing left for him to do… My presence imposed him with far too much power, I was presenting ruthlessness, I was not holding back. I was about to set ablaze to expectations, and change the embodiment of what it meant to be one… Solomon Stane. I was so close…..
(Solomon looked down. He thought to himself and was really just cycling through it again.)
Solomon Stane: I think back to last week, I ask myself all sorts of questions; but it all directs back to one singular thing. “Why”? God had plans for me to be Answers World Champion. God had plans for me to accomplish everything that I had set out for. But Caroline… She allowed her sinful pride to get within my way. I need to end that mentality now.. So, Caroline… I expect an answer.
(Solomon said resting on the ropes, but he was very impatient. You could sense it deep within him… But he would be interrupted by Caroline walking out on the ramp, taking slow footsteps, as she looked at Solomon. Clenching a microphone tightly.)
Caroline: It was your fault, Solomon.
(Stated Caroline, as she stood in place looking at him.)
Caroline: It was your fault that I was burned. You are the one behind the failures. Losing to Bethany and Adam, a duo who was already on the brink of collapsing, when it should have been us who achieved the victory. Look at the two of them now. Look at what happened! It should’ve been us who emerged victorious, but you…..
(She pointed at Solomon looking in the ring at her. But she slowly made her way down the ramp. Keeping the index finger held on him, she slowly entered the ring. But yet Caroline only stopped pointing as she reached Solomon. You could see the anger boiling in the face of Solomon.)
Caroline: You allowed your own twisted dogma to cloud your judgment, you allowed this failure, you paid for what you did. If things had gone right, you would have been at the top of the mountain.. But now I must be the penance.
(Solomon listened to Caroline as she dropped the microphone looking up at him. He looked down at her, as he really didn’t have much to say… he just turned away.. Caroline watched on– BUT SOLOMON TURNED AROUND AND HIT CAROLINE IN THE FACE WITH A FOREARM! Caroline was thrown abroad by the quick attack, as she bounced off the ropes…AND SOLOMON HAD HER LOOKING FOR THE “TRIUMPH OF TRUTH”!!)
Solomon Stane: (Off Mic) You will pay..
(BUT CAROLINE BEGAN FIGHTING BACK! As she raked the eyes of Solomon Stane causing him to put her down, with him being immediately put off balance, SHE WOULD NAIL HIM WITH A HURRICANRANA TO THE MAT! Caroline looked at Solomon Stane, as she told him previously.. She would he his penance.. she walked over to Solomon, picking him up for “A SONG OF FIRE AND ICE”— BUT WAIT! SOLOMON WOULD MANAGE TO PUSH CAROLINE FORWARD AND OF HIM! Caroline fell forward into the ropes from the momentum, as she turned around, INTO A HUGE HEADBUTT FROM SOLOMON!!! (That second headbutt was so stiff that it busted Solomon open, with a bit of blood on his forehead, he lifted Caroline up– AND HIT HER WITH A “TRIUMPH OF TRUTH” THIS TIME IT CONNECTED, AND CAROLINE BROKE THROUGH THE RING! The amount of anger and intensity destroyed the ring! Solomon looked down at the carnage he caused. Realizing he is standing tall. It was a moral victory, and he raised his hand celebrating that one. All the while, the feet of Caroline hung out of the hole that had just been created from her weight. Solomon stopped celebrating by grabbing a microphone…)

(A huge ovation surrounded the arena as Solomon looked down at the carnage he created in the ring. He just shook his head, the thoughts racing in his mind how it didn’t really have to be this way.)

(Solomon tossed the microphone down, as he left the ring. On his way up the ramp, you could see various medical officials rush to the ring. All of them looked into the hole Caroline was in, as they had a stretcher and everything ready for her assistance. Stopping at the top of the ramp, Solomon looked on. He looked at what he caused, and Caroline was getting medical attendance– no. The lights in the arena went out just before they could help her, and when they came back on… she was nowhere to be found…. The staff look confused, asking questions.. but Solomon just looks on with a deadpan stare. That being the final shot as the show went elsewhere.)
(‘STFU!’ by Rina Sawayama begins to blare the speakers as Miku Sakai comes out with a cocky look on her face. She manages to flip off a few members of theEAW Universe as the cameras do a good job in censoring all of that. She is all smiles as she makes her way down the ramp.)

Gavin Kirkland: Season began with an IDOL-GUN reunion happening at Midsummer Massacre as Miku Sakai would come to the aid of Hikari Kanno when it involved Serenity Valdez and Halsey Neel. She would find herself getting in the crosshairs of The Devolution as she would find herself teaming with the woman she is looking to face for the title as well as Hikari Kanno and ARIA as the two of them would be victorious at The Last Stand.
Eve: She’s also gotten an opportunity at the Universal Women’s Championship at Reckless Wiring against Kassidy Heart earlier this season! Since the short-lived IDOL-GUN reunion, Miku has found herself needing to get herself back on track! Earning an opportunity against Veena Adams would be an amazing way to do that and win her second single’s championship in EAW!
Deadprez: She’s already a former Specialists Champion in her own right! Her issues with Raven Roberts began around the time in Blind Faith, but Miku looks to settle that and get a shot at the National Elite Championship in the process!
(‘Old Scars/Future Hearts’ by All Time Blow begins to play as the crowd gives a loud ovation for Raven Roberts who poses on top of the ramp before going down. She looks at Miku Sakai inside the ring as Raven regains her focus on what she needs to do tonight and that’s defeat Miku and win the championship to complete that Grand Slam.)
Gina Romano: INTRODUCING HER OPPONENT…FROM ATLANTA, GEORGIA…SHE IS ‘THE BIRD OF PREY’…RAVEN ROBERTS!!!!!!
Gavin Kirkland: Raven Roberts returned before Road to Redemption to help out Madison Kaline with the British Invasion and honestly, this woman has returned better than ever to us after a few years off the road. It was an unexpected return and I’m glad that Raven is here on Showdown!
Eve: So am I, Gavin! Raven Roberts would find herself in opportunities to compete for championships this season! The triple threat with Caroline and Madison Kaline, Blind Faith and now, this one! One of the topics that had been brought up is how Raven needs a mid card championship to complete that Grand Slam. She’s a former New Breed Champion, Unified Tag Team Champion and World Champion, she just needs this to complete that Grand Slam!
Deadprez: She defeats Miku Sakai and she could be on her way of doing that! But, both of these women will be joined by a specific viewer at ringside!
(Veena Adams is shown walking down the ramp as she demands for the helping hands to place her baby pink throne chair with gold outline at the end of the ramp. Then, she takes a seat as both of the women inside the ring seem to be focused with all of the extra things that Veena decided to brush them off and tell them to focus on each other.)

Gavin Kirkland: AND…. MIKU SAKAI AND RAVEN ROBERTS GO AT IT! THE TWO WOMEN ARE TRADING PUNCHES AT EACH OTHER, NOT HOLDING BACK! THEY ARE TRYING TO CAUSE THE OTHER ONE TO GO BACK! MIKU DELIVERS A KNEE TO THE GUT OF THE FORMER WORLD CHAMPION AS SHE GOES BACK, REBOUNDS HERSELF OFF THE ROPES AND CONNECTS WITH A SPINNING NECKBREAKER!
Eve: But, Raven Roberts quickly finds her way back to her feet as Miku Sakai proceeds to battery ram her to one of the corners! We see Miku connecting with some shoulder thrusts to the ribs of Raven at the corner! But, we see that Raven is beginning to throw some punches to the spine of the former Specialists Champion as she takes her to one knee! (The crowd is not satisfied with the result as Raven Roberts and Miku Sakai are being checked on by some of the referees and medical staff. Veena Adams is more than proud of her work as she begins to walk up the ramp. The National Elite Championship is being hosted high as the crowd is letting her have it before ‘HER’ by Megan Thee Stallion begins to play through the speakers. The crowd has a mixed reception for the Showdown General Manager as Kennedy Street walks out with a microphone already in her hands.)
Kennedy Street: No! No! No! No! No! No! No! Honey! This isn’t the result that Kennie wanted, ladies and gentlemen! I wanted the answer to the National Elite Championship picture answered by the end of the night! But, since ARIA blew all of Showdown’s budget for the season, we don’t have the money to pay the network to have us go overtime. It seems like continuing with this match isn’t what’s meant to be. So, I do back the referee’s decision in a double count out.
(The crowd begins to boo as Veena Adams grins as she’s still proud of her work on making sure that neither Raven Roberts or Miku Sakai get an opportunity at the National Elite Championship at Pain for Pride.)
Kennedy Street: But, I think that you’ve forgotten that Kennie calls the shots on Showdown and I’m all about giving the people what they want! I’m all about making sure that Pain for Pride in Orlando has all the star power it can possibly have for their show! So, here’s what I am going to do. At Pain for Pride, Veena Adams will defend the National Elite Championship against Raven Roberts…AND Miku Sakai!
(Veena Adams is not happy as she’s screaming at Kennedy Street, who feels more than proud about the star-studded match up that she had just made. This is the same scenario that Veena had faced about a year ago. One less opponent than what she faced at Grand Rampage about a month ago. Kennedy does a sarcastic wave to Veena as Veena is trying to process everything that just happened. Raven Roberts and Miku Sakai nod in approval.)
Gavin Kirkland: Veena Adams will defend the title against Miku Sakai and Raven Roberts, but Miku is looking to give Veena sneak peak of what she can expect at Pain for Pride! Miku is still a bit out of it, but she doesn’t care! VEENA GOES RIGHT AFTER MIKU AS THE TWO WOMEN BEGIN TO BRAWL WITH EACH OTHER! VEENA IS ABLE TO TAKE MIKU TO THE GROUND AS MIKU TRIES TO THROW SOME PUNCHES TO VEENA! VEENA MANAGES TO GET HERSELF UP AS SHE THROWS MIKU DOWN THE RAMP! MIKU IS TRYING TO PICK HERSELF UP TO THE GROUND! BUT, LOOK AT INSIDE THE RING —
Eve: ‘RAVEN’S WINGS’ TO THE OUTSIDE! THAT BEAUTIFUL SPIRAL TAP AS SHE LANDS ON BOTH VEENA ADAMS AND MIKU SAKAI! SHE GETS VEENA UP TO HER FEET AS RAVEN ROBERTS BEGINS TO BRAWL WITH EACH OTHER! WE SEE MIKU WHO IS TRYING TO GET HERSELF TO HER FEET AS TRIES TO JOIN IN WITH THE BRAWL —
(The crowd begins to boo as about a dozen security guards come racing from the back and to ringside to separate the three women. Four securities find themselves backing the three women each. We see Veena Adams screaming, getting her shit talking in. We see Miku Sakai throwing the middle finger and yelling explicit words. We see Raven Roberts who wants more of this fight from both of these women, but the security is not going to let that happen.)

(We see the three women in the National Elite Championship match, trying to break free from the security holding them back, but it’s no use. The last glimpse is of the beautiful mastermind, Kennedy Street, hand on her hip, watching along the madness that she created to conclude Showdown. The scene fades to black.)
