(RECAP–Last week, Showdown took place from the beautiful Bermuda National Sports Centre in Devonshire Parish, Bermuda. The show started off with General Manager Kennedy Street and Devolution in the ring where Kennedy said that even after being “attacked” in the parking lot that Ms. Extreme is still alive. She also talked about Grand Rampage being successful with POTARA winning the Tag Team Championships and Kassidy Heart winning the namesake event. She finishes off by saying that we are on the road to Pain for Pride and the Elitists of Showdown need to show EAW that you belong. The first match of the night had Marilyn Johnson winning her debut match defeating Lucas Johnson. Next, Kyra Phillips interviews the new Tag Team Champions, POTARA. POTARA talks about their strengths as a tag team as well as having a strong future before walking away and being followed until they meet up with DOMINION who offers a handshake of respect before talking about possibly meeting at Pain for Pride.)
(The recap plays on as Lexi picks up the win against Nyx. Next, Mikaela Street gives an update on Ms. Extreme saying that she will be out of action for a long time before Ms. Extreme comes out of nowhere. Ms. Extreme then says that she will sign or do ANYTHING to get a match with Pandora.The next match has Michael Machina defeating Komatsu Ogawa. Backstage, Jack Ripley goes into Kennedy Street’s office before being joined by Alex Myers and Roberto De La Rosa. All want an opportunity to get into the Cash in the Vault ladder match at Pain for Pride, so Kennedy makes a fatal four way including Hans Grayson for Fighting Spirit and the winner will qualify for the Cash in the Vault ladder match. )
(The recap continues on as Adam Lucas comes to the ring talking about his previous battles before addressing Jake Smith and Pain for Pride before Jake comes out and they talk about their eventual match at Pain for Pride before Donovan Duke comes out and challenges Jake for the Answers World Championship at Fighting Spirit. Jake accepts only if he can name the referee… and he names Adam Lucas as the special guest referee.The next match has Ashlynn Quinn defeating Major Scotty Connor with help from Veena Adams. The main event of the evening had Chris Elite defeating Hans Grayson with Veena Adams on commentary. After the match, Veena attacked Chris from behind and was helped by Ashlynn Quinn before Hans came back to help Chris by hitting Ashlynn, but Veena ducked and got out of the ring. Grand Rampage Winner Kassidy Heart comes to the ring and tells the fans that she will announce which World Champion she will challenge at Fighting Spirit before saying that Richard Tracie better have the results of the investigation at Fighting Spirit as well. The final shot has Veena holding up the National Elite Championship as Chris Elite smiles and signals it around his waist as the recap ends.)
(“Brick Wall” by A Day to Remember starts playing as Showdown is coming live from Disney Cruise Line’s ‘Disney Wish’ Cruise Ship. The crowd is cheering and standing on the deck of the beautiful ship. The camera goes around the deck showing as many fans as possible before finishing at the commentary table where Deadprez, Eve, and Gavin Kirkland are sitting and ready to call the action. )
Deadprez: We are one week away from Fighting Spirit! Tonight, we are live on the beautiful Disney Wish Cruise Ship for another exciting edition of SATURDAY NIGHT SHOWDOWN! Thank you for joining us for another exciting edition of Showdown. I am Deadprez and alongside Eve and Gavin Kirkland, we will be calling all of the action. Are you guys excited for tonight?
Eve: You know I am, Prezzy. We have so much action for tonight. Like tonight, Chris Elite and Veena Adams come face to face as they finalize their National Elite Championship match at Fighting Spirit. That is going to be something to see.
Gavin Kirkland: WOOOOOOOOO! I LOVE SHOWDOWN! I CAN’T WAIT! Also tonight we have a debate between Answers World Champion Jake Smith, his challenger Donovan Duke, and the special guest referee for the match Adam Lucas. Who knows what these three will say to each other.
Eve: I have also found out that Richard Tracie P.I. will be here one final time for his last interrogations. He better get some answers and quick because Kassidy Heart wants answers next week.
Deadprez: Also tonight, we will have the official signing of the hold harmless waiver that will let Ms. Extreme receive her official match with Pandora Paisley at Fighting Spirit. Two women who hate each other and this will no doubt blow up.
Gavin Kirkland: IT’S TIME!!! IT’S TIME FOR THE MATCHES!!! YAY!! Tonight we have two rising rookies of Showdown going to battle as Marilyn Johnson takes on Michael Machina. Which rookie will build some momentum as we head to Pain for Pride? That is tonight.
Eve: Also tonight we have the dangerous Lexi taking on Drake Armstrong. Will Lexi go two in a row this week or will Kennedy Street’s assistant pick up a huge victory?
Gavin Kirkland: Also tonight is a special preview match. Tonight in tag team action, we have Hans Grayson and Alex Myers taking on Roberto De La Rosa and Jack Ripley. At Fighting Spirit, these four will face off in a fatal four way, but tonight, they team. That will be a very interesting match.
Eve: Another match on tap is Ryan Wilson of DOMINION with Xander Payne in his corner taking on Jon Kelton of Devolution with Londyn and Amir Yusuf in his corner. Will DOMINION get another victory over Devolution or will Jon get some retribution?
Deadprez: Finally, in our main event, we have the Grand Rampage winner in action! Kassidy Heart will be taking on Harley Lewis in singles action. Will Kassidy Heart show exactly why she won the Grand Rampage heading to Pain for Pride or will the dangerous tendencies of Harley Lewis give him a huge victory? That’s tonight, but for right now, let’s send it to the ring with the lovely Gina Romano to kick off SHOWDOWN!
(“Invincible” by Pop Smoke starts to play as Chris Elite walks out to a huge cheer by the crowd on the Disney Wish, He starts making his way to the ring while the people there really give him a warm welcome as he high fives a few of the fans and gets into the ring.)
Deadprez: Here comes Chris Elite, the challenger for the National Elite Championship and let me tell you right now, he is ready, probably the most I have seen him serious about anything for a while.
Eve: He truly is a talent; you just need to wonder which Chris Elite you are getting. Right now, we are getting a very motivated one that was drafted as a main eventer and World Champion.
Gavin Kirkland: He has been one of the best for a long time, but can he beat Veena Adams now? I don’t think so, she is at the top of her game.
Gina Romano: PLEASE WELCOME AT THIS TIME…. CHRIS ELITE!!!!
(As the cheers go on, Chris hops on the second rope, then back flips into the ring, he turns Gina hands him the mic as he walks around the ring for a second before he turns to speak.)
Chris Elite: We have been playing for weeks now and since it was announced that I would be challenging for the National Elite Championship, Veena and her little sidekick have tried everything within their power… which isn’t much by the way to try and take me out. I really don’t get it at this point because we know she is desperate and there is nothing that is going to come between me and that Championship. I had a shot at it at the beginning of last season in 2021, when I faced Minerva then with New Eden, my beloved especially now that she is single again and seen the light, but that is another story for itself. Truth is, Veena and Ashlynn are simply giving me the attention for one reason…. They are dickriding Chris Elite.
(The crowd erupts in cheers as he smiles.)
Chris Elite: At Fighting Spirit I get another shot at the National Elite Championship. This time I plan to make it count and IU get where Veena is coming from, she is beautiful, Ashlynn is too, they both see a handsome guy like me be a threat and they want to nip it in the butt. Well, I mean Fighting Spirit is only one week away, so why don’t we get all that hostility out of out systems and get right to what matters, and that is this match. So if you are listening Veena and…..
(Suddenly “7 Rings” by Arianna Grande blasts throughout the arena as the crowd stands up and boos. Veena Adams walks out looking beautiful as ever with all of her glory, Ashlynn Quinn is standing right next to her.)
Deadprez: That didn’t take long, and Veena has had enough of Chris Elite. She is always looking like a million dollars and looks great with the title over her shoulder. She knows though that her title is in danger. Chris Elite will do whatever it takes to make sure that he walks out as Champion.
Eve: She has been on a special roll the last couple of seasons slowly building herself back up to this and if there is anyone that can have an incredible reign with that championship, it is Veena Adams.
Gavin Kirkland: Her and Ashlynn are Goddesses!
(Veena starts slowly walking to the ring while Ashlynn actually leads.)
Veena Adams: This is cute and not in that sort of way, Chris.
Ashlynn Quinn: Totally!
Veena Adams: I mean, look at you Chris. You’re washed up, you’re not the man that used to be a threat to championships and the Main Event scene. If anything, this is more like charity work on my part. You are so very welcome.
Ashlynn Quinn: Veena is such a giving person!
Veena Adam: Exactly. I thought long and hard about this Chris. The whole challenge, everything that pertains to this match at Fighting Spirit. Us in general. I am trying to really determine what it is that you really want out of this. My perspiration on your body or this title. See, I don’t think that you are good enough to be champion, you have proven that this past season, let’s be serious it was so bad that you had to like…. Take a hiatus. Only losers do that.
(Ashlynn puts the big “L” gesture with her finger on her forehead. The two finally get to the ring and Ashlynn stands between Veena and Chris.)
Chris Elite: Okay, hold on beloved. How many “Box Office Smashes” Are you going to take for this woman, Ashlynn?
Ashlynn Quinn: As many as it takes. Veena is the Goddess, the Queen! You have no chance with her and…..)
(Before Ashlynn could say another word…. )
Deadprez: BOX OFFICE SMASH! ASHLYNN TOOK IT RIGHT IN THE JAW AND SHE DROPS! VEENA LOOKS STUNNED AND SHE CHARGES CHRIS WITH THE TITLE, HE DUCKS…. SHE TURNS AROUND …. OPEN YA MATA! THAT KNEE STUNNED VEENA…..
Eve: VEENA IS STUNNED AND CHRIS GRABS HER…. SAY GOODBYE! THAT FALLING FOREARM SMASH JUST KNOCKED VEENA OUT OF HER HEELS AND OUT OF THE RING AND SHE HITS HARD ON THE FLOOR! CHRIS LOOKS AT THE NATIONAL ELITE CHAMPIONSHIP AND RAISES IT UP HIGH AS ASHLYNN ISN’T MOVING IN THE MIDDLE OF THE RING AND VEENA IS OUT COLD ON THE FLOOR!
Gavin Kirkland: THIS WAS AN OUTRIGHT ASSAULT ON VEENA AND ASHLYNN! I NEED TO CHECK ON THE KWEEN!
(“Invincible” by Pop Smoke starts to play throughout the arena as the fans cheer. Chris Elite holds the title up in the air as Veena is still down, slowly stirring and Ashlynn is still unconscious in the middle of the ring. He points at Veena and smiles before shrugging his shoulders.)
Deadprez: MESSAGE SENT BY CHRIS ELITE AND IS THIS WHAT WE ARE GOING TO SEE AT FIGHTING SPIRIT! IT VERY WELL COULD BE…. WE’LL BE RIGHT BACK!
(The scene slowly fades to commercial with Chris Elite standing tall while the two beauties are laid out.)
( Saturday Night Showdown returns from a commercial break as ‘Position Of Power’ by 50 Cent begins playing, and Michael Machina makes his entrance with his usual badass look. The crowd here on the ‘Disney Wish’ Cruise Ship seems to be intimidated by him, and they show their hatred towards him. Michael basks in the negative attention and makes his way into the ring. The camera then cuts to Gina Romano, who has been standing there, preparing to announce this match. )
Gina Romano: THE FOLLOWING CONTEST IS SCHDULED FOR ONE FALL!… INTRODUCING FIRST!… FROM BROOKLYN, NEW YORK!… WEIGHING IN AT 280 POUNDS!…. HE IS THE ‘MONEYMAKER’ !!!!!!!!!….. MICHAELLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!!!…. MACHINAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Gavin Kirkland: Here comes Michael Machina, another great big man that we have here in EAW. I’m sure he is one of the smartest ones we have since another one on Voltage is pretty stupid! I mean, look at Michael! He’s a star. He’s a moneymaker! He’s someone that Hollywood would pay a big amount of money to cast in some major movie franchises! HE IS HIM!
Eve: If we speak in terms of rising stars, surely Michael is one of the first names on the list out there that could shine on a big, bright spotlight, giving him a load of fame that he always wants and needs.
Deadprez: I’m not going to lie, he’s the kind of wrestler that my nephew would love since they like someone who actually looks like a wrestler, such as Michael Machina. Surely, that will help me answer my nephew’s question a lot!
Gavin Kirkland: You have a nephew?
Deadprez: Yes, don’t ask about them furthermore or I’ll actually hurt you.
( Michael starts warming up, pulling the ropes and all, as ‘Heads Will Roll’ by Yeah Yeah Yeah starts playing too. Marilyn walks out and looks absolutely gorgeous as always. Michael doesn’t react much to her, and Marilyn keeps walking down towards the ring, maintaining her beauty while making her way towards the ring. )
Gina Romano: HIS OPPONENT!… MAKING HER EAW DEBUT!… FROM LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA!… WEIGHING IN AT 117 POUNDS!… ‘THE IRRESISTIBLE POISON’ !!!!…. MARILYNNNNNNNNN!!!…. JOHNSONNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!
Gavin Kirkland: *heavily breathing*
Eve: Are you okay? :dahell:
Deadprez: No, he’s not, and you know why.
Eve: I’ll take the role then. Anyway, guys, Marilyn made her debut last week against Lucas Johnson and made such an impressive impact against him, eventually earning herself a big debut win over him! Tonight, she looks to repeat it once more against another rising star who is on the same level as her, such as Michael Machina!
( DING DING DING! )
Gavin Kirkland: The Machine takes on The Poison and it is finally underway. I can’t wait for Marilyn to pick up another win tonight against another newcomer we have here in Showdown. As the match goes, Michael isn’t really giving Marilyn a chance to start firing first as he quickly rushes out of the corner, LIFTING MARILYN AND DROPPING HER BACK RIGHT INTO THE CORNER BEFORE MARILYN CAN EVEN DO ANYTHING ELSE!
Eve: I think Michael has been patient long enough for this and once the bell rings, it will give him everything he needs for this battle. Michael now drags Marilyn out of the corner, throws her across the ring, and goes for a big boot, taking Marilyn down!
Deadprez: Marilyn slides under and pops back to her feet, continuing to run towards the ropes in front of her, then rebounding off them. But Michael turns back around just in time and takes her down with a Shoulder Tackle!
Gavin Kirkland: Michael takes a quick look down at Marilyn and runs towards the ropes himself. This time, Marilyn jumps down and Michael jumps over her, running towards the ropes and bouncing off them again. Marilyn comes back to her feet and quickly goes for a running forearm smash!
Eve: That…. doesn’t really do anything! Michael doesn’t take the weak forearm from Marilyn lightly before throwing a right hand and starting to choke her. But Marilyn quickly slaps his hand away and connects with a Step-Up Enzuigiri! Now, that does something as Michael stumbles back and starts leaning against the ropes. Marilyn has a chance to make a move this time and starts scrambling back to her feet, then runs towards the ropes again. But Michael steps away from the ropes, down to the middle of the ring, and QUICKLY BRINGS HER DOWN TO THE GROUND WITH A BLACK HOLE SLAM! A BLACK HOLE SLAM SENDS MARILYN CRASHING DOWN TO THE CANVAS!
Deadprez: That doesn’t look good for Marilyn as Michael is coming back for the kill. He picks Marilyn back up to her feet once again, seizes her wrist, pulls her in, and immediately snaps Marilyn with a stiff Short-Arm Clothesline! Marilyn doesn’t have any defense at all and ends up collapsing to the ground right after the clothesline connects with her!
Gavin Kirkland: If I could, I would jump in right now and save her from that rich, slick bastard who’s trying to hurt my woman! Look, I know Michael is a very muscular man, but that doesn’t matter! Do you know that when I was playing American Football in high school, there was a 6ft giant who sent me flying across the field? But you know what I did after that?
Eve: Yeah, what?
Gavin Kirkland: I- actually, nevermind. It’s kinda embarrassing.
Deadprez: Let’s focus on the match instead of hearing what’s not really related to this match, shall we? Now Michael is in control of Marilyn at the moment, with her trying to crawl down to the bottom rope to help herself back to both feet. But Michael doesn’t really give her any time and now PICKS HER OFF THE GROUND LIKE A RAGDOLL ONCE AGAIN BEFORE TOSSING HER OVER HIS HEAD! :damn: Jesus Christ, I barely see that type of strength here in EAW these days, and that must be really painful for Marilyn to get thrown around like that!
Eve: Pretty sure EAW rarely gets big men into their companies, and it’s good to see one here thriving and striding around here in EAW. Now Michael doesn’t make it longer or anything else before stepping down to where Marilyn is once again, picking her off the ground and now tossing her down to the ropes. But Marilyn jumps over the ropes and lands both feet on the apron. Michael looks up and steps in to take her down, but MARILYN CATCHES HIM WITH ANOTHER STEP-UP ENZUIGIRI, but this time from the apron! Michael holds down his nose and now gets forced to step back down to the middle of the ring. Marilyn goes into the ring with her QUICKLY SEIZING MICHAEL AND SPIKING HIM TO THE GROUND WITH A DDT!
Gavin Kirkland: SEE THAT’S HOW YOU DO IT! GO, GIRL! LET’S GET IT! That’s the DDT to the future of the women’s division, showing nothing more than the bright light that this brand needs for sure! Michael holds down his head with himself rolling away from her, down back to the ropes right behind him. Marilyn steps right in to pick him off the ground this time before delivering an elbow smash right across his face, grabbing him, and throwing him down to the ropes. Michael bounces off as Marilyn kicks his left knee, STEPPING BACK AND KICKING MICHAEL’S HEAD IN WITH A ROUNDHOUSE KICK!
Deadprez: Marilyn is for sure on fire right now, and that proves nothing but showing that she’s not going to play around with Michael any longer! Marilyn is not done with picking Michael off the ground this time, grabbing him, and THEN DROPPING HIM TO THE GROUND COMPLETELY WITH A RUNNING BULLDOG! Michael’s face gets planted right onto the ground, leaving him prone on the mat, before Marilyn drops into a cover on Michael! Is that enough to put Michael to an end?

Eve: Not too soon, Michael kicks out just in time, leaving Marilyn to be a bit frustrated with herself and him for refusing to stay down! Marilyn has been fighting back against Michael so far, and from now on, she can keep moving and doing more damage to him for sure. Marilyn picks Michael back to his feet once again and starts grabbing him, seizing him in, and TRYING TO LIFT MICHAEL OFF THE GROUND FOR A NORTHERN LIGHTS SUPLEX!
Deadprez: Michael knows that is not going to happen right away because he’s a big man that doesn’t easily let a woman such as Marilyn take him down that easily. He uses his right elbow to pound the side of her head, trying to knock her away from him. Michael leaves Marilyn no choice before stepping back away from her, regaining his footing after escaping the suplex. Michael now rushes to the front of Marilyn, going under and THROWING HER OFF THE GROUND WITH A BACK BODY DROP, BODIES FLYING EVERYWHERE!
Gavin Kirkland: Marilyn ends up holding herself down and trying to recover from that, but things don’t really seem to be easy there as Michael quickly steps back in, grabs her arm, and starts twisting it, trying to torture her this time. Marilyn starts crying and screaming in pain! This is ridiculous, are you guys setting this up for me to watch something that I don’t deserve to watch?
Eve: Gavin, this is wrestling. People are getting hurt, and it’s okay. They are fighting, and pain is an inherent part of it. You are like…. 40 or 50 years old now, not 5 anymore, and you should be aware of this fact. Marilyn is in huge pain now as Michael starts using his right knee to bend her arm, with his left hand connecting to the side of her neck repeatedly, trying to torture her even more! Michael finally drops Marilyn to the ground and connects with a knee drop onto her face!
Deadprez: Marilyn is now sitting back up in the driver’s seat, holding her nose and trying to recover from the blow, but Michael quickly picks her up off the ground and delivers a hard right hand, sending her back down to the ropes. Marilyn bounces off the ropes and connects with a running forearm smash, the force of which sends Michael back to the ropes as well. Michael rebounds off the ropes and goes for a big clothesline, but Marilyn snaps out of it, ducking under Michael’s arm and EXECUTING A NORTHERN LIGHTS SUPLEX, SUCCESSFULLY TAKING HIM DOWN THIS TIME!
Gavin Kirkland: Marilyn has taken Michael down and now she has a chance to win! She looks back down at Michael, who doesn’t seem to be moving anytime soon. Marilyn stands beside Michael and jumps off the mat, CONNECTING WITH ‘FALLING IN LOVE’, WHICH IS HER OWN VARIATION OF A STANDING MOONSAULT!
Eve: MICHAEL WITH BOTH KNEES UP, LETTING HER GUT LANDING ON HIS BOTH KNEES! It’s very close for Marilyn to win the match right there, but Michael comes back quickly with both knees, and now Marilyn is in trouble again as Michael gains the upper hand with that counter. Michael rolls back to his feet and picks Marilyn up off the ground, locking her in and squeezing her before DROPPING HER BACK DOWN ONTO THE CANVAS WITH A BELLY TO BACK SUPLEX!
Deadprez: Michael rolls all the way down to the corner and backs himself into it, setting his eyes on his prey as Marilyn starts to get back to her feet, holding her spine after being slammed down to the ground by the force of the Belly to Back Suplex. Michael rushes out of the corner, LOOKING TO CUT MARILYN IN HALF WITH HIS SIGNATURE ‘BULLET FROM THE HEART’, A WICKED SPEAR!
Gavin Kirkland: Marilyn catches him just in time with a double leg takedown right in the middle of his run. She grabs his legs, LOOKING FOR A FIGURE FOUR LEG LOCK ON MICHAEL, but he uses both legs to push her off, causing her to fall back onto the ropes. Michael quickly pops back to his feet and runs towards her, ATTEMPTING ‘BULLET FROM HELL’ AGAIN, BUT MARILYN JUMPS OVER HIM, TURNING HIM INTO A SUNSET FLIP ROLL-UP INSTEAD!

Deadprez: KICK OUT AGAIN BY MICHAEL! Michael and Marilyn roll back to their feet at the same time, with Michael throwing a clothesline, but Marilyn catches his arm and throws it away, quickly following up with a flashbang Roundhouse kick once again! Michael holds his head and walks back, but MARILYN GREETS HIM WITH A POP-UP TO THE AIR AND QUICKLY DROPS MICHAEL DOWN TO THE GROUND WITH A POWERFUL SIT-OUT POWERBOMB! SHE MANAGES TO LIFT HIM UP AGAIN AND SUCCESSFULLY PLANTS HIM WITH ANOTHER SIT-OUT POWERBOMB!
Eve: The opportunity is right there! Marilyn has a chance to win this match right now as she manages to take down Michael once again, and it’s pretty impactful this time! Marilyn returns to her feet and picks Michael up off the ground…. SHE STARTS TO SEIZE HIM, TRYING TO SET HIM UP FOR ‘BE MY VALENTINE’ DOUBLE-UNDERHOOK BACK-TO-BACK PILEDRIVER!
Gavin Kirkland: Well, it’s not too soon, but I wish it could be sooner than that! Michael manages to struggle right before she could do anything else, driving his right knee directly into her gut and causing her to release him. Marilyn steps back away from Michael, holding her gut and trying to compose herself, but MICHAEL DOESN’T GIVE HER ANY TIME AND RUSHES IN, HITTING HER WITH ‘MONEY SHOT’, A CLOTHESLINE FROM HELL THAT TURNS MARILYN INSIDE OUT!
Deadprez: Marilyn puts a stop to that with a kick right to Michael’s right arm, preventing him from hitting her with the Clothesline From Hell! Michael steps back, holding his own arm and trying to shake the pain out, while MARILYN TRIES TO PUT MICHAEL INTO HER ‘LOVE’S DEADLY GRIP’ OCTOPUS STRETCH but Michael knocks her back with a back elbow right into her face this time!
Eve: Marilyn steps back, but she’s still trying. However, Michael quickly catches her with a right hand to her neck, pulling her in, and ‘MONEY SHOT’ CONNECTING RIGHT WITH HER! THE CLOTHESLINE FROM HELL IS MAKING HER PAY FOR WHAT SHE SAID TO MICHAEL FOR THIS WHOLE ENTIRE WEEK!

Deadprez: It’s a very impressive match between these two rookies we have here in Showdown, and I’m glad people here on the cruise ship are enjoying what these two bring to the table tonight. Kudos to both of you, and we hope we get to see something like this again.
( ‘Position Of Power’ by 50 Cent hits as Michael Machina gets off the ground and lifts his hand up high in the air, looking quite happy about that win, judging from the little smirk on his face. The final shot shows Marilyn sitting there and looking quite unhappy before leaving the ring, and the scene fades into a commercial break. )
( A commercial break is shown for the new anime movie from Makoto Shinkai, ‘Suzume,’ featuring Answers World Champion, Jake Smith. It’s still in theaters, so go and watch it! It’s such a masterpiece, I’m telling you! )
( Cameras flicker backstage on this latest episode of Saturday Night Showdown. We’re situated on the Disney Wish Cruise Ship — and what an incredible experience this has been for those fortunate enough to join Elite Answers Wrestling on this wild endeavour so far! There’s a buzz and excitement in the crowd tonight; which only amplifies with the appearance of Kyra Phillips who is wearing classy-and-professional attire. She waits for the appreciation and the cheering to simmer down before raising the microphone up to her lips, beginning to speak soon after. )
Kyra Phillips: Ladies and gentlemen, please join me in welcoming at this time… Impact.
( Unsurprisingly, the crowd aren’t quite as receptive to the ten-time World Champion. Boos and jeers ring out for the man who has done it all — but Impact doesn’t seem to mind the negativity associated with his name. He saunters into the camera’s shot donning casual clothing, slipping hands into the pockets of his jacket. His chin tilts a smidge, enough to make it seem like he’s acknowledging the crowd. Naturally, a shit-eating grin spreads across his face which amplifies those boos — insulting chants breaking out for Impact soon after. But the crowd eventually dies down and once it does Kyra Phillips begins to speak with The Quintessential Champion. )
Kyra Phillips: Now Impact, it has been quite a —
Impact: Quite a what, hmm? Out with it Kyra — actually, no. Give it to me. Yes, yes, give me the microphone. You don’t think I know what you’re going to ask? What you’re going to say? I was winning World Championships and keeping this company afloat while you were struggling with your biology homework in high school!
( Reluctantly, Kyra Phillips hands over the microphone. )
Impact: You were going to ask me what’s next on the agenda. You were going to recap my loss at Grand Rampage to Adam Lucas. But you know what? This is a good time to reflect. This is a good time to fantasize. We’re on the Disney Wish, after all. There’s no need for the negativity that people like you, and the stupid morons in the audience are perpetuating. So let’s reminisce. Let’s think back on what I was doing /last/ year. That’s right, baby. Winning the Grand Rampage and becoming the only two-time winner of the biggest, most famous match in this promotion’s history! Heading into Pain for Pride and winning the Answers World Championship!
Impact: I’ve ascended to the top of this business again-and-again. Call me Karma, because I’m a chameleon baby. People come-and-go, but I’ll always be here. I’ll always be reliable, holding down the fort while the Andre Walker’s of the world suckle on this company’s teat, use it for all it’s worth and leave. These fans want to boo me? But who has been here since the beginning? Who has created opportunities like this, made Elite Answers Wrestling what it is? Impact has. Spanning almost two decades. But now that I’m in a bit of a lull. Now that my path for Pain for Pride isn’t clear, they want to turn on me. They want to perpetuate this idea that I’m used-up. That I’m washed. It infuriates me. That no-good fluke of a midcard talent, Adam Lucas, got one over on me and that’s fine. Every dog has its day. But we’ll come back to this, I assure you.
Impact: We will come back to this day in the future. We’ll come back when I’m holding my eleventh World Championship — and we shall see what Adam Lucas is doing in comparison. Maybe giving his fiancé a foot rub. Maybe serving hot dogs and hand jobs in the concession stands because I’ll tell you right now; it won’t hold up. Impact isn’t done with the limelight. Impact isn’t done with the main event of Pain for Pride, I assure you. These people can boo and you can ask me silly, thrown-together questions to undermine me. But my impact on this business is everlasting, one slip-up doesn’t undo sixteen years of sacrifice and hard work.
( Impact places the microphone carefully back in Kyra’s hands. The crowd are not into Impact’s egotistical streak whatsoever. I’m unsure if a boat can sink on displeasure alone — suffice to say Impact does not have many friends aboard the Disney Wish tonight and may want to think about sleeping with one eye open. )
Kyra Phillips: Well it’s a little difficult to follow… That, up. But I have to ask, seeing as you touched on what happened at Grand Rampage — what’s next for you as we move closer-and-closer to Pain for Pride season?
Impact: This isn’t the first time I’ve been in this position and I’m doubtful it’ll be the last. We see new faces come-and-go through those ever-revolving doors. Plans are always muddled and unsure but we make our own destiny in this sport, Kyra. Through hard work and sacrifice, like I mentioned earlier, we all work towards one thing; being at Pain for Pride. Sure, I could rest on my status as a Hall of Fame talent. Have one of those pity throwaway matches that nobody remembers by the time the night is over. But I’ve always aimed high in my career and that isn’t going to change because of one little defeat to Adam Lucas.
Impact: So I’m going to make my own opportunities and ensure that I’m on the show — in a prominent match no less. Because I deserve to be there and because with a championship around my waist or not I am the best to ever step foot in the ring. No pun intended here, but I’ll make an impact. I’ll make an impact on the biggest show of them all because I was bred to do so. My name is synonymous with this company, and my successes are synonymous with Pain for Pride and nobody is going to buck that trend or dampen my spirits relating to that.
Kyra Phillips: Thank you for your time, Impact. Back to you guys.
( Impact nods his head towards Kyra and walks out of the shot. Kyra stands with microphone clasped between her fingers until the scene begins to fade. We soon transition to the next segment of this Disney Wish edition of Saturday Night Showdown! One thing is for sure, Impact may be down but he is certainly not out and he has big plans pertaining to Pain for Pride as it heads down to ringside.. )
(“Mr. Brightside’ by the Killers plays through the cruise ship speakers as Lexi comes out to a roaring crowd. They’re small, but they’re definitely loud. She is met with cheers as she walks her way down the entrance ramp and into the ring.)
Gina Romano: THIS MATCH IS SCHEDULED FOR ONE FALL WITH A TWENTY MINUTE TIME LIMIT! INTRODUCING FIRST, FROM DETROIT, MICHIGAN, WEIGHING IN AT 117 POUNDS, LEXI CHAMBERS!
(‘Pride and Arrogance’ by Takeru Kanazaki plays as it replaces ‘Mr. Brightside’. Drake is met with boos as he’s escorted by Disney cruise ship security making his way into the ring. As he enters the ring, the referee is met with a few words before he is left alone and Drake readies himself.)
Gina Romano: AND HER OPPONENT, FROM SCARSDALE, NEW YORK, WEIGHING IN AT 260 POUNDS, DRAKE ARMSTRONG!
DING! DING! DING!
Gavin Kirkland: And we are off! Lexi and Drake are looking at each other eye to eye, and it seems like they want to lock up. But no! Drake rolls under the ring and he’s taking a quick jog on the outside!
Eve: What is this man doing? He’s just strolling around and the referee is giving him the slowest count ever! Clearly, Kennedy has more hands in the pocket than even I think! Drake is taking his time, pacing himself as he rolls back in at the count of six! Lexi rushes in, no!
Deadprez: And here we go again, Drake just rolling back out after he came back in. He does not seem to want to get into a tussle with her at all, and it’s honestly frustrating. After the stuff he pulled at Grand Rampage and the relationship he has with Kennedy Street, perhaps this man might have all the advantages right now!
Gavin Kirkland: And Lexi doesn’t seem to care! She rolls right out the ring and she’s chasing down Drake! Drake rolls in, and the referee is giving Lexi a much faster count! What is going on here? Drake is just looking at her and smiling, and Lexi is clearly annoyed!
Eve: Drake can keep running, but at some point, he has to wrestle. There’s no way around it. He has to actually wrestle Lexi, even if he hates doing so. Lexi rolls back inside, and she pounces on Drake, running full speed at him!
Deadprez: But no! Drake trips her up and he proceeds to grab ahold of her ankle! He’s looking to use his amateur wrestling background here and try to get the submission victory! That ankle lock is well, locked TIGHTLY! There’s no way out of that!
Gavin Kirkland: Lexi manages to roll forward, however! She escapes it, and she kips up, sending a right hook to Drake’s face! He staggers back, and Lexi whips him into the ropes, attempting to go for a clothesline, but Drake holds onto the ropes! Lexi rushes in, but Drake pulls it and sends Lexi flying to the outside!
Eve: Now Drake is just pointing at the referee to begin the count, and it seems like the fast count for Lexi is still going on here! Drake is following the ref’s count, and it drives Lexi feral! She rolls back inside, and she wants a piece of Drake as soon as possible! Drake might not be able to escape this right now!
Deadprez: She gets back inside, and boom! Drake pounces and lays her out with a front dropkick! Drake laid her out right there, and now it’s his turn to run the ropes! Lexi gets up, and Drake slides around, before sweeping Lexi’s leg and catching her off guard! It’s clear what his strategy is right now. Play as many mind games as you possibly can! Will it work? It’s unclear. But the way Drake is acting, it seems like he thinks it is!
Gavin Kirkland: Lexi stands back up, but Drake rushes in and he’s trying to go for repeated windmill swings! Lexi blocks them and she clinches Drake up, before forcefully slamming him against the turnbuckle and unloading on him! She’s taking out all her frustrations on Drake right now, and this might be a place that he might struggle with! He’s never had to really dig this deep early on before!
Eve: Somehow, someway, he’s going to find a way to not struggle. And he does, as he fakes an attack to the jewels and the referee is unsure! He has to separate the two, he can’t make a disqualification happen but he can show other ways to prove just how much bias this man has! Screw this goddamn referee, bro. He’s clearly playing favourites!
Deadprez: If I speak, I am in trouble. I’d rather just leave no comment on the board, and it seems like Drake is getting his breather! Lexi doesn’t bother at all, and she rushes in with a high knee that the referee barely dodges! Drake however, wasn’t so lucky! He’s about to drop, as Lexi pulls him over her back with a shoulder throw! Now, it’s Lexi going for the armbar, but Drake tucks her head in, rolls her over and lets go!
Gavin Kirkland: You can hate this man all you want, but you can’t deny he has some technical skill. It’s a pain that he prefers to NOT use it. If only he, you know, was actually forced to wrestle. Drake rolls himself backwards, and he takes this opportunity to begin unloading heavy shots on Lexi, before raking her eyes! The referee just woke up right after he does so, and he doesn’t mind Lexi holding her eyes!
Eve: Dude, this is so obvious! Look at it, for christ’s sake, man! Can’t you see what this idiot is literally doing right now? He’s playing everybody like they’re some fools! Drake tries to send a big boot into her face, but Lexi is crafty and manages to sidestep before swinging her shin into Drake’s stomach with a hard kick! Lexi is just going hard right now, and it doesn’t seem like she has any intent on stopping!
Deadprez: Drake just took that, and it seems like it was that one kick that really gave him a reality check! Lexi isn’t trying to wrestle him, Lexi is trying to fight him with everything she has right now! It’s clear that she doesn’t want to make it easier than Drake already has it, and this is evident as she’s teeing off on him with all sorts of strikes!
Gavin Kirkland: Drake is down on one knee, and Lexi sees this! It’s her green light to go absolutely crazy, and she comes in with repeated shots to his face and nose, trying to make him look extremely messed up! She wants to make a statement by beating Kennedy Street’s most favourite Showdown wrestler ever, and what better way to do that! Drake cannot get up, as Lexi whips him into the ropes!
Eve: Lexi whips Drake into the ropes and no! Drake rolls under the ropes again and he gets out! He does not want anything to do with Lexi right now, and it just shows how much of a literal coward this man is! Lexi came out with smoke and Drake wants none of it! He’s jogging around the ring, and Lexi charges up front! Drake is fast though, as he subverts Lexi and turns around, before she’s on the outside and met with a BASEBALL SLIDE DROPKICK! Lexi is sent to the barricade, and Drake rolls outside again!
Deadprez: And this is going to be Drake in his element, as he’s now teeing off on Lexi! He grabs her by the head and he tosses her into the barricade! Lexi just got slammed into the metal barricade as it somehow manages to stay still! Now the crowd is cheering Drake on, as the referee is giving him a slow count! Drake throws her back in, and he’s looking to do more damage!
Gavin Kirkland: And now it’s Drake coming out with jabs to her jaw! He ducks under, and slaps her right in the face before taking her down! He’s using his superior technical ability here and trying to go for the figure four leglock! Lexi tries to fight out of it, but Drake manages to roll him over and go for a knee bar! What the hell is going on here? Lexi cannot seem to outwrestle him on the ground at all!
Eve: And now it’s Drake with the submission grappling offense! He can’t outstrike someone with as much tenacity as her, but she sure as hell can grapple her and muffle her if he tries to! It seems like the referee is being more lenient with Drake’s clearly dirty moves as he tries to drive elbows and ‘accidentally’ slide his elbow across Lexi’s eyes! Drake manages to put her into an armbar, and he does so!
Deadprez: That armbar is locked in tight for the Future of EAW, and it looks like Lexi has no way to fight out of it! Can she get out of it? Lexi tries to roll up, but Drake is keeping those legs locked in! It’s not something she has the skill to get out of, but you’d think her tenacity would give her an edge here! Like you said earlier, Eve, if Drake’s plan is to muffle her, he’s doing a damn good job!
Gavin Kirkland: Lexi grips her hands together, as she rolls! No! Drake transitions into a Triangle Choke, and Lexi is back in his claws yet again! So far, this has been all Drake and Lexi has not been able to get any offense off just yet! Lexi is feeling it
out, and Drake seems to have lost his grip a little here! She capitalises! Lexi lifts him up and he’s thrown headfirst into the turnbuckle!
Eve: Lexi is giving it all she has, as she goes for a European Uppercut! That one wobbled Armstrong, as he’s now taking several uppercuts to his jaw! She’s swinging like she’s in the mean streets of Detroit, and you could hear the crowd chanting her name! They love her! Drake blocks some of it, and he picks her up, throwing her overhead for a Belly to back suplex! She’s down, but Lexi comes back up and she’s throwing hands again!
Deadprez: Drake is taking these hits, but then he realises he can turn the tide! He comes in with an elbow to her jaw, and he’s going for his own strikes this time! Lefts and rights, he’s boxing her right now! Might be his only chance to get his momentum back, but Lexi is dominating right here! Lexi ducks under, and she sends a knee right into his stomach again! Drake is stunned, and now Lexi has the momentum she needs!
Gavin Kirkland: LIGHTS OUT! The superkick connects as Drake is down! Drake is down for the first time in this match and now it’s Lexi going for the cover here! Can she end the match right here now?

Eve: NO! DRAKE KICKS OUT! He manages to kick out again and it’s clear that Drake has some fight left in him after all! Lexi is shocked, thinking that Drake had a glass jaw! If this hadn’t proven otherwise, Lexi would be ecstatic right now! You could feel the energy coursing through her veins as she tagged him with that big shot, but it doesn’t seem like that’s going to work for the time being! She has to try something else, something bigger! Drake has proven himself to be tough, even when the people on this cruise ship don’t seem to enjoy it all that much!
Deadprez: Yeah, you could tell. They want to see Drake get put away as soon as humanly possible. Not very kind, dontcha think? Drake is starting to show where his skill is, and the sweat being poured right now is an indicator of the battle these two are having! Drake knows that there’s no way he can run from Lexi! As Lexi knows that Drake is going to be tougher than she thought!
Gavin Kirkland: Both of these competitors are showing signs of mutual respect, even if they don’t want to show it right now! Perhaps this might change the more sweat and tears are spilled later on in the match! Lexi stands up, and it does seem like she wants to go for the Lights Out yet again here! Lexi is stomping her foot, and she might be able to get this going! Drake is up and he’s clearly dizzy, but no! Drake still has enough fight left in him as he sidesteps the kick and manages to tag Lexi with a clothesline! Lexi still stands, though!
Eve: Somehow, someway, she is still standing! Lexi is showing the toughness that people know her for, as Drake is hooking in the Natural Talent! The suplex is locked in, as she is thrown over his head and is met head first onto the mat! Drake rolls her over and now he’s going for the cover!

She has his neck on her shoulder, and she’s looking for the FOH! The Shiranui connects!
Gavin Kirkland: NO! Drake rakes her in the eyes again! The referee was behind them so he couldn’t see it! Drake turns her around, and he kicks her in the gut, forcing her to bend over! He locks in the Gotch piledriver, and he’s going to hit it! DEATH PENALTY! THE DEATH PENALTY TAKES LEXI OUT, AND NOW IT’S DRAKE GOING FOR THE COVER!

Gavin Kirkland: What a performance from Kennedy Street’s most loved competitor and what a show of skill from him tonight! He subverted a lot of expectations, and it seems like Lexi might have been outsmarted here! This is definitely going to be interesting to see how he approaches his next few matches!
(‘Pride and Arrogance’ by Takeru Kanazaki plays through the Disney Cruise Ship as Drake Armstrong has his hand raised. He begins walking down as the crowd boos him, but he looks into the camera before smiling. Lexi is left in the ring, walking out on her own as she walks through the crowd, as they give her the support she needs.)
(We cut to outside the ring area, to one of the far corners of the staging where Kyra Phillips is stood by. With her, their appearance getting a huge cheer as they are seen on the video screen, are Dominion, Ryan Wilson and Xander Payne.)
Kyra Phillips: Ryan, Xander… thank you for joining me on deck.
Xander Payne: Not a problem, we were going to ask for some time anyway
Kyra Phillips: You were?
Ryan Wilson: Of course, why wouldn’t we want to give our favorite interviewer a World exclusive?
Xander Payne: She’s pretty much the only interviewer Ryan.
Ryan Wilson: Doesn’t change a thing, still my favorite.
Kyra Phillips: You guys flatter me
Xander Payne: No, he does… I just stand by and shake my head as he acts like a dog on heat. Don’t blame me if he starts humping your leg.
(Kyra’s eyes widen, which makes Xander chuckle to himself.)
Xander Payne: Anyway, onto business. At Grand Rampage, Ryan, Camille and I did exactly what we said we would do and put Devolution in their place. Jon Kelton and Amir Yusef were left running with their tails between their legs, no matter what they believe, and well, Camille is going to kill Pandora at Fighting Spirit. So, job well done.
Ryan Wilson: We showed, decisively, that we it comes to tag teams, we are right there with the best of them. So, you ready for the World Exclusive?
(Kyra nods, and to be fair she was intrigued.)
Ryan Wilson: We want another shot at the Tag Team Championships
Kyra Phillips: That’s an exclusive, I think everyone knew that Ryan
Ryan Wilson: Oh…
(Ryan scuffs the floor with his shoes, obviously a little disappointed.)
Xander Payne: Yes, every SHOULD know, we want another shot because we have earned it. All that has been going on with Kennedy, and us being the only ones to stand up to her, we deserve to be added into the match with POTARA, Off Brand Amphetamines and The Jaded Hearts. We came so close before, and we deserve the opportunity to make sure of it this time around.
Kyra Phillips: And you think with three of the best tag teams in the World, this time would be different?
Ryan Wilson: I’ll take this one bro.
(Xander rolls his eyes but offers Ryan the floor.)
Ryan Wilson: Look, I know what people think of us. I know that people believe that Xander is carrying me, and that his teachings aren’t making the slightest bit of difference. I know that people think that eventually I’ll revert back to old habits, but it isn’t happening Kyra. I want this. I want it so bad. I want to make Xander proud and show him that I am listening to him. And it’s that desire and determination that will mean when we get that chance, right here or in the future, I’ll make damn sure we’ll take it. Because I’m not letting Xander down. Ever. So, Kennedy should give us our chance.
(Kyra looks shocked at the passion with which Ryan speaks, and turns to Xander, who also looks impressed.)
Xander Payne: This isn’t a pet project… well, it is, but for the right reasons. I saw something in Ryan, I saw I could help, and we showed the World what we can do at Grand Rampage. But there is more to come Kyra, I can feel it. All we need is for management to put away their bias and give us that chance. It all any of us need, that don’t need to pander to her Royal Princess…
Voice: Is that right?
(Boos ring out as Heidi Huxley walks into shot, Xander shaking his head.)
Kyra Phillips: Heidi, do you have something to say?
Heidi Huxley: Yes, and I speak on behalf of YOUR General Manager, Kennedy Street.
Kyra Phillips: Please do
Heidi Huxley: Kennedy has heard everything especially you have had to say Ryan, and so she has a message for you. Even though you have showed yourself ungrateful for everything that both Kennedy and Disney has done for you, because we are a giving company, we are going to grant you your shot.
Ryan Wilson: YES… did you hear that Xander?
(Xander holds up his hand, expecting a ‘but’.)
Heidi Huxley: There is no question that it will be good for business, but I need to warn you both that there is a caveat to all of this.
Xander Payne: Why am I not surprised? Dominion got under Kennedy’s skin a little huh?
Heidi Huxley: Not at all, consider this caveat an incentive.
Xander Payne: Come on then, let’s hear it.
Heidi Huxley: Simple. You get your shot, and a chance to become the Tag Team Champions, and if you win, then you will have proven yourself more than worthy of carrying them. But if you lose, and you need to realize that Kennedy is not joking when she says this.
Xander Payne: Come on then, enough of the amateur dramatics.
(Heidi grins, enjoying the moment.)
Heidi Huxley: If you lose, and mess up your opportunity yet again, then Kennedy will make sure NOT to draft Ryan, and leave him to rot on either Dynasty or Voltage, it really isn’t our concern which brand takes you. You will NEVER darken Showdown’s doors again whilst she is in charge. And let’s face it, the jobs she’s doing, she isn’t going anywhere soon.
(Heidi walks away, happy with her work as Ryan looks on surprised. Xander doesn’t look surprised though, he looks angry. Very angry.)
Kyra Phillips: Any comment on that… you get your shot, but if you lose, Dominion will be broken up?
(Ryan is stunned into obvious silence, not understanding what he did to be treated this way. It doesn’t matter though, as Xander is more than willing to pick up the slack.)
Xander Payne: A comment Kyra? Sure thing. You got a problem with Dominion Kennedy? That’s cool. You’ll have an even bigger problem when we become the Undisputed EAW Tag Team Champion, because Ryan isn’t going anywhere.
(Xander walks off, Ryan puffs out his cheeks and follows him, as the scene cuts away to Gina Romano in the ring ready to call the next match.)

( ‘Blue World’ by Mac Miller plays over the sound system of the Disney cruise ship as Jack makes his way from backstage under the boos of the crowd. He makes his way to the ring without waiting on his partner whose music, ‘Soy’ by Santa Fe Klan, replaces his. Roberto makes his way to the ring as well under mixed reaction from the crowd. )

Gavin Kirkland: On his end, Hans Grayson is looking for his big break and a win leading to the Qualifier for Cash in the Vault could be the first step towards achieving that for the Canadian.
Eve: Both of them have been rising stars on Showdown and tonight they will have an opportunity to showcase their skills in a tag team scenario. This should be a good match folks and it’s about to start RIGHT NOW!

Deadprez: And here we GO! This Cash in the Vault Showcase is officially underway!! Myers and De la Rosa start things off in this match and Roberto goes for a boot to the gut of Myers stunning the Elitist before throwing a straight right hand that lands!
Gavin Kirkland: Myers retreats to a corner as De la Rosa continues to pummel them with punches and heavy strikes before going for some shoulder tackles ramming Alex into the corner! The referee orders Roberto to move away BUT MYERS TURNS THE TABLE AND BEGINS STRIKING AT THEIR OPPONENT WITH KICKS!!! Grabbing the wrist of Roberto who gets whipped NO Reversed by De la Rosa who sends Myers to the corner!
Eve: ALEX HOPS ON THE SECOND THEN TOP ROPE BEFORE FLIPPING OVER ROBERTO WHO WAS CHARGING IN! He turns and sees Myers charging his way after bouncing to the table. After a missed attempt at a clothesline, Myers ducks under the arm and bounces to the ropes BUT THEN GETS SHOULDER BLOCKED BY ROBERTO!! He goes for a cover!!

Ripley watches on as Roberto unloads some heavy punches at Alex and the official again orders De la Rosa to back away and he does WHICH ALLOWS RIPLEY TO THROW IN A FEW HITS OF HIS OWN BEHIND THE OFFICIAL’S BACK!!
Gavin Kirkland: From his corner, Hans isn’t pleased by Ripley’s cheap shot but there’s nothing he can do about it.

Gavin Kirkland: Ripley tags himself in! This surprises Roberto a little bit but he steps through the ropes letting the former World Champion do his thing and Jack goes aggressively on Myers throwing kicks to the chest of his opponent before putting a boot to their throat! The official counts and Jack stops just as the count gets to four.

Eve: Jack gives the tag back to Roberto who goes back in the action while Jack forces Myers up and throws a stiff right hand to their face! Roberto goes for an Irish whip but Alex counters about to send him in their own corner BUT GRAYSON IS IN THE RING AND NAILS DE LA ROSA WITH A CLOTHESLINE!!!
Deadprez: Some reprieve for Alex following the starting offensive sequence being on the side of Jack and Roberto and Myers goes to the ground going with a headlock to keep their opponent down! El Padastro powers his way back to his feet and throws some elbows to the gut of Myers who ends up letting fo off Roberto!
Gavin Kirkland: To the ropes De la Rosa goes BUT ALEX FOLLOWED HIM AND SMACKED AN ELBOW TO HIS FACE! Myers then with a stiff knee to the face took Roberto down and near the ropes! MYERS WITH A COVER!

Eve: And he gets it! Jack rushes in towards Myers but gets taken down with a clothesline! Jack is getting back to his feet fairly rapidly but this gives time for Alex to spin around and NAIL HIM with the Discus Clothesline! The fans love this as Ripley is trying to get vertical once more BUT ALEX TAKES TO THE ROPES AND SPRINGBOARDS THEMSELVES INTO A THIRD CLOTHESLINE!!
Alex Myers: COME OOOOOOOOONN!!!!!!!
Deadprez: The Guardian Angel is fired up and so’s the capacity crowd onboard the Disney’s Wish cruise ship tonight which is the site of this episode of Showdown! Jack to his feet once more, slower this time as he gets once again brought down to a horizontal position by Myers thanks to a perfectly nailed dropkick BEFORE ALEX QUICKLY MOVED TO THEIR FEET AND JUMPED ON THE STRAIGHT SHOOTER WITH A DOUBLE FOOT STOP!!
Gavin Kirkland: Myers is on a roll now but can they keep the momentum on their side? Jack tries to make his way to his own corner to tag in Roberto but Myers grabs at his feet and reels him back to the center of the ring. Ripley creates separation with Myers with a boot in the face as he gets up BUT HE GETS NAILED WITH A ROUNDHOUSE KICK FROM MYERS!!!
Eve: Jack tries to get back up BUT MYERS WENT TO THE ROPES AND BLASTED RIPLEY WITH A SHOTGUN DROPKICK!! Down goes Ripley as Alex quickly goes behind him as he gets up AND SWINGS HIM OVERHEAD WITH A GERMAN SUPLEX! Down goes Jack BUT ALEX ROLLS WITH HIM AND THEN DEADLIFTS THEIR OPPONENT IN A DEADLIFT GERMAN SUPLEX WITH A BRIDGE PIN!!!

Gavin Kirkland: That driver looked like it did some damage to Ripley who’s staying down on the mat and slowly trying to get up while Alex kip-up its way back on their feet much to the pleasure of the crowd! Jack is now to his knees, Alex reaches up to him WITH A HEADBUTT!!
Eve: The Straight Shooter looks stunned on his knees AND MYERS GOES FOR A GUILLOTINE CHOKE!!! THEY ARE TRYING TO END IT RIGHT NOW AND RIPLEY IS FLAILING HIS ARMS LIKE MAD TRYING TO RESIST!!!
Deadprez: BUT THEN MYERS MOVES TO LIFT JACK IN THE AIR! ONE SWING AS HE TURNS THE MOVE INTO A FALCON ARROW!!! DOWN GOES RIPLEY AND MYERS QUICKLY GOES TOPSIDE!! FROG SPLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASH!!!!! MYERS WITH THE COVER!!!

Deadprez: Ripley is tagged out by his partner who quickly goes inside the ring and throws a few punches at Myers who’s leaning against the corner. The punches get Alex to sit down AND THEY GET A KNEE TO THE NECK FROM ROBERTO!! Grabbing Myers by the back of the neck, El Padastro whips his opponent into the ropes, they bounce back with speed BUT GETS TAKEN DOWN WITH A BIG BOOT!!!
Gavin Kirkland: I might have seen a tooth fly right there! Maybe not, point is that one seems to hurt and Roberto isn’t stopping as he grabs hold of his opponent and forces them to their feet BEFORE TAKING THEM RIGHT BACK DOWN WITH A SIDE SUPLEX!! AND THEN AN ATTEMPT AT A COVER!!

Gavin Kirkland: Myers lifts the shoulder up at ONE! Roberto is annoyed and begins throwing quick punches over Alex who’s blocking as they can! Getting up both men does AND ROBERTO WITH A THUMB TO THE EYES! The official sermons him while the crowd boos him, Roberto doesn’t care as he rushes to the ropes AND TAKES MYERS DOWN WITH A RUNNING KNEE!!!
Eve: Myers down on their back but quickly on their knees looking to get fully vertical BUT ROBERTO IS BEHIND THEM AND SENDS THEM OVERHEAD WITH A GERMAN SUPLEX!! Wait! Alex landed on their feet and they are charging at Roberto WHO TURNS SWIFTLY AND LANDS THE CLOTHESLINE FROM HELL!!!!
Deadprez: El Padastro looks like he almost decapitated Alex’s head with that one clothesline! So much force into it holy cow! Alex is now down on their back and is kept there with a rolling elbow drop followed by a leg drop from Roberto who then goes to the ropes AND SPRINGBOARDS HIMSELF INTO A MOONSAULT LANDING PERFECTLY ATOP OF MYERS!!!
Gavin Kirkland: Roberto goes for a co-ah? No! He doesn’t, instead, he goes to the ropes, running past Myers who is seated in the middle of the ring, AND THEN NAILS THEM BEHIND THE HEAD WITH A DROPKICK!!!

He then quickly forces the Guardian Angel to their feet and whips them to a neutral corner FOLLOWING THEM CLOSE WITH A BIG ELBOW!!
Eve: AND HE BEGINS TO UNLOAD WITH A SLEW OF THEM IN RAPID SUCCESSION AGAINST MYERS STRIKING AT HIS FACE AND CHEST!!
Deadprez: From his corner, Hans is extending his arm trying to reach at Alex who on their end is attempting to crawl towards Grayson BUT ROBERTO MOVES BEHIND THEM AND SWINGS THEM FARTHER AWAY WITH A DEVASTATING SAITO SUPLEX! Myers is holding the back of their head in pain.
Gavin Kirkland: Alex is trying to make his way to his corner, crawling but Roberto grabs hold of a leg while Hans on the other side is extending his arm trying to reach Alex! Myers ends up moving to their feet AND STUNS DE LA ROSA WITH AN ENZUIGURI!!!

Deadprez: Some elbows to the face by Hans who was itching to get in the action his strikes land square on Roberto before taking him down with an arm drag! Letting go of him quickly both men get vertical but Hans throws a knife edge chop!!

Eve: De la Rosa trying to get up while holding his jaw while Hans manoeuvers around him while pumping up the crowd! He smirks towards Jack who tries to take a swing at him but misses! Roberto tries to capitalize on the distraction but fails being taken down WITH A GUTWRENCH SLAM!!!
Deadprez: AND THEN A STANDING MOONSAULT FROM GRAYSON PERFECTLY EXECUTED!! COVER BY HANS!!

Gavin Kirkland: Hans rolls over on Roberto as he tries a sleeper hold from the mat. Hans is doing a good job at keeping his opponent grounded before he suddenly shifts and drives some elbows to the shoulder of De la Rosa!
Eve: He moves to his feet, letting Roberto get up and the man is struggling as he then gets grabbed by Hans who stares at Ripley.
Hans Grayson: Watch this!
Eve: SIDE RUSSIAN LEG SWEEP! Which in fact doesn’t impress Jack at all. Hans doesn’t seem disappointed as he goes to a neutral corner and stands on it looking down on De la Rosa who is slowly getting up AND THEN GETS LANDED ON BY GRAYSON WITH A TOP ROPE CROSSBODY!!
Deadprez: BUT LOOK ROBERTO TRIES TO ROLL INTO A SMALL PACKAGE!! BUT Hans bails himself out of that predicament quickly by kicking out! Looking surprised he moves behind his opponent quickly and goes for a suplex! BUT ROBERTO LANDS ON HIS FEET! HE TRIES TO REACH FOR A TAG BUT BACKSTABBEEEEEEERRRR BY HANS GRAYSON!
Gavin Kirkland: I have to admit, smart way to keep Roberto in the ring rather than having Ripley tagged in!
Eve: Jack seems to be getting a little impatient, he wants to get tagged in while Roberto is getting beaten by Hans Grayson. Hans gets Roberto to his feet and whips him into the ropes close to Myers, he tries for a clothesline BUT Roberto ducks under!

Deadprez: Jack touched Roberto’s back as he bounced off the ropes and is now the legal man for his team! Hans didn’t realize it yet as Roberto slid under the ropes on the opposite side of the ring. He quickly turned, thinking suicide dive BUT IS MET WITH JACK AND AN EXPLODER SUPLEX!!!
Jack Ripley: Now I’ll show you how it’s really done, El Padastro. Watch and learn.
Eve: Ripley remembered when Roberto was looking to show off earlier and seems like it’s time for the Straight Shooter to show his partner what he is all about!
Deadprez: Jack goes for Hans and swings him down with a Japanese arm drag before quickly throwing an oblique kick as Hans moved up to his feel to stop the man’s momentum. Knee to the midsection is followed with a quick snap suplex and then a second one! Jack goes for a third one and tries for a roll-up pin BUT Hans kicks out of it quickly!
Gavin Kirkland: Jack maintains his grip on the tights of Grayson as he moves him up for a DDT but Hans blocks it! Hans tries to strike back at Jack BUT JACK QUICKLY SWINGS HIM UP INTO AN INVERTED DDT!!! DOWN GOES GRAYSON WHO GOES FOR A COVER!!

Gavin Kirkland: Myers saves the match for his team by leaping atop of Jack! Alex quickly slides outside of the ring returning to position. Jack grunts and focuses on his opponent taking him down with an arm drag and Hans shows quickness and agility by parkour rolling and getting to his feet BUT GETS CLOCKED BEHIND THE HEAD BY ROBERTO AS HE STOOD NEAR THE OPPOSING CORNER!
Eve: Grayson stumbles forward, holding the back of his head with a hand, AND WALKS RIGHT INTO A BELLY-TO-BELLY SUPLEX PERFECTLY EXECUTED BY JACK RIPLEY!!! DOWN GOES GRAYSON! But Jack keeps the pressure on as he zone in on his opponent, double ax handle to the back of Hans before grabbing him by the back of the head and sending him harshly against a neutral corner!
Deadprez: Ripley throws some kicks and then some chops he is very surgical on his opponent who’s starting to have pink marks on his chest! He moves him to the center of the ring AND GOES FOR THE ATOMIC DROP! Hans is stunned in pain before being taken down with a back-body drop!
Gavin Kirkland: Ripley in command now as he moves Hans up to a vertical base and throws a few elbows to keep him docile before dashing to the ropes and springboarding himself INTO A HURRICANRANA!! WHAT A MOVE BY RIPLEY who quickly goes to a corner and hops to the top of it. He looks down on his opponent as Hans gets to his feet slowly AND THEN GOES AIRBORNE LANDING ON HIM KNEES FIRST!!! HANS IS DOWN AND JACK HOOKS THE LEGS!!

Gavin Kirkland: Woah! Grayson kicked out after having his face remade with Jack’s knees!! Jack looks towards the official who confirms all he got was a two. Asking if the official is sure and sighs as he’s told to do his job and he’ll do his. Bad attitude from the referee if you ask me!
Eve: Kennedy Street told everyone to prove themselves last week and Hans is doing just that by denying Jack a victory that would build momentum for him ahead of Fighting Spirit!
Deadprez: Ripley goes to a mounted position and throws some fists and elbows to the face of Grayson before moving him up to his feet. Hans is reeling a little bit and Jack goes to the ropes going for a cross body BUT HANS ALL OF A SUDDEN THROWS A FLAMING PUNCH THAT TAKES JACK DOWN!!!! GRAYSON THEN QUICKLY TURNS AROUND AND THROWS HIMSELF AT HIS CORNER!!

Gavin Kirkland: Myers goes in and makes their way to Jack throwing mad elbows at him under the cheers of the crowd! The fans aboard the cruise ship are loving this and they want some more! Jack to the ropes by Myers TAKING HIM DOWN WITH A LEAPING SHOULDER BLOCK!
Eve: Down goes Ripley and Myers isn’t done with him, going for a knee strike but Jack blocks it with both arms and throws a thumb to the eye to stop his opponent! Myers holds his face while Jack goes to his corner to tag in Roberto WHO REFUSES TO GO IN!
Deadprez: The two men are arguing AND JACK SUDDENLY GRABS DE LA ROSA BY THE SHOULDERS AND FLIPS HIM OVER THE ROPES AND INSIDE THE RING!! RIPLEY IS ATTACKING HIS OWN PARTNER AND MYERS JUST WATCHES!!!
Gavin Kirkland: But wait, Grayson moves behind him, flips him around AND THE TWO BEGAN BRAWLING IT OUT!!!! BOTH TEAMS ARE FIGHTING EACH OTHER WHAT THE HELL????
Eve: THE REFEREE HAS LOST ALL CONTROL AS TEAMMATES ARE FIGHTING TEAMMATES NOW!!! THE OFFICIAL DOESN’T SEEM TO KNOW WHAT TO DO AND HE’S THROWING THE MATCH!!!!
( DING! DING!! DING!!! )
( The fans boo as the match is halted but there is so much chaos inside the ring that the official lost control and had no choice. )
Gina Romano: Ladies and gentlemen the referee for this bout has declared this match a NO CONTEEEEEEST!!!!
Deadprez: ALL THREE ELITISTS ARE GOING AT EACH OTHER! MYERS IS STRIKING AT HANS WHILE JACK AND ROBERTO ARE THROWING DOWN!! THIS IS PANDEMONIUM ON A CRUISE SHIP FOLKS!!!
Gavin Kirkland: Were we expecting any less? Great tag team match before things went down the ocean but considering the four of them are opponents at Fighting Spirit the end of this match doesn’t surprise me at all!
Eve: Someone is going to have and try to separate these men because they look like they’ll fight each other all the way to Miami!
( The final shot is of several officials trying to separate everyone and are failing but the action moves towards the backstage area hopefully as it cuts to a commercial break. )
(We cut back to the ring from the commercial, which is situated on the deck of the very impressive Disney Wish where Mikaela Street is standing by.)
Mikaela Street: Ladies and Gentlemen, may I present to you the two individuals who will fight for the Answers World Championship, and their special guest referee… Jake Smith, Donovan Duke and Adam Lucas…
(The crowd roars as ‘You know my Name’ by Chris Cornell hits over the PA system, and Adam Lucas steps through the makeshift curtain, a huge grin on his face. He doesn’t waste any time and starts down the ramp.)
Deadprez: Adam Lucas on his way out here. I’m still a little confused as to why he is involved.
Eve: He’s involved because Jake Smith is playing the game.
Gavin Kirkland: And why shouldn’t he?
(Adam slides into the ring, and nods towards Mikaela, as ‘The Outsiders’ by Eric Church kicks in Donovan Duke appearing at the top of the ramp. He gets a huge ovation as well, and makes his way down the ramp, high fiving some of the fans. He slides under the bottom rope and shares a fist bump with Adam.)
Deadprez: Lot’s of mutual respect between the two and rightfully so. These two have gone through a lot
(‘War’ by Grandson blasts through the speaker system, both Adam and Donovan turning towards the rampway as Jake Smith appears and holds the championship belt aloft. His reaction is just as loud as the others, and he makes his way down the ring confidently. He steps up onto the apron, and then bends under the strands, before heading over to Adam, those two also sharing a fist-bump. He then looks over at Donovan and just smirks as his music ends.)
Eve: No animosity seemingly between Adam and Jake, the same can’t be said for Jake and Donovan.
Gavin Kirkland: I’m sure that will change if Jake and Adam face each other at Pain for Pride.
(Mikaela lifts her microphone, the fans quietening down.)

Jake Smith: To answer that question Mikaela, you just have to look back over my journey through the years. This ‘situation’ was always inevitable, and was only a matter of picking the right time. Look at Insurgency, and what they achieved. Everything was down to ME, not Donovan or Limmy, or Maxwell. I was the leader, and they know it.
(Donovan shakes his head, Adam just smiling.)
Jake Smith: And look, I’m a shoo-in for Pain for Pride now, and whatever that means. Only the BEST main event that shows, and I AM the best on Showdown right now. I deserve to be Champion Mikaela quite simply because I have EARNED it. Pure and Simple. I waited so long to be champion… I’m not going to cough it up now.
Mikaela Street: Donovan… same question if you would?
Donovan Duke: First of all, Jake, yeah you put Insurgency together, but it could be argued that you were the reason that it imploded in your face. And anyways, the reality is, what did we achieve? Adam here pretty much blocked us every step of the way, and Limmy got out when he knew he could do better. But, to answer the question Mikaela, I want to be champion to show that it certainly wasn’t a fluke. I was the longest reigning National Elite Champion of all time. There was a very good reason for it, that being that it was the proving grounds for right here, when I challenged Jake. I know I can beat him, and what better main event than Adam and I fighting over the biggest prize in our industry. Can you imagine Kennedy Street’s face bro?
(Adam laughs again, he could imagine it. He had imagined it.)
Mikaela Street: And Adam, you’ll face the winner at Pain for Pride… why do you think you should be champion?
Adam Lucas: Honestly Mikaela, I think it’s time don’t you? I’m sick of the so near, so far storyline. My growth this season has been more than I could possibly have imagined, and having beaten both these guys, I’m excited about the opportunity of doing it again on the biggest stage of them all. I have nothing but respect for the two of them, but anything but becoming the Answers World Champion at Pain for Pride would be seen as a failure. Not just by me, but by those that follow me as well.
Mikaela Street: So, Jake back to you… why did you make Adam the special referee? What was the thought process?
Jake Smith: Two reasons Mikaela. One, I’m not stupid, I know how this business works, and how chaos finds its way into everything. I haven’t come this far, to lose the title on a technicality, that’s for sure. Adam stands for integrity, and he will go out of his way to ensure everything is above board, and that’s important. He’s a pro, and wouldn’t do anything to jeopardize the match, and won’t let favoritism affect his decisions.
Mikaela Street: And your second reason?
Jake Smith: Well, that’s a little more controversial…
(He stares over at Adam, and then Donovan.)
Jake Smith: Because I’m going to love seeing him make the three-count over his best friend.
(Adam shakes his head, but still wears a smile on his face. Donovan however is a little more aggressive in his response, dead-eyeing Jake who catches the reaction.)
Mikaela Street: Donovan?
Donovan Street: Well, as I’m not an asshole like our ‘Champ’ apparently is, I have no problem at all that Adam will be the one wearing the stripes. I haven’t come this far to be screwed over either, and Adam will do everything to ensure that doesn’t happen. And Jake, I don’t need any favoritism, and the fact Adam will call it down the middle is more than a good thing. He doesn’t have to worry about having to make the three count on me, because it isn’t going to happen.
Mikaela Street: And Adam, how do you feel being the referee?
Adam Lucas: Kind of weird, not going to lie. But I’m trying not to overthink it. Of course, I will call it right down the middle, I’m not fazed by having to face either of these guys. Like Donovan says, this isn’t about favoritism, it’s about being the best, and I’m going to make sure at Fighting Spirit that the best man on the night leaves as Answers World Champion… the way it should be.
Deadprez: Damn straight Adam
Mikaela Street: My final question is this, and it is one that I know the EAW fans want to hear answered. Obviously, Kassidy Heart will make her intentions known at Fighting Spirit as to what she is going to do, but at the moment, one of you three will end this season as the Answers World Champion. That said, Jake, what are your goals going into Pain for Pride?
Jake Smith: Again Mikaela, the answer to that is obvious, to remain champion going forwards and into season seventeen and beyond. I have no intention of letting this title go, whether it be Donovan, Adam or even Kassidy Heart. I don’t care. I have shown that I can beat anyone, on any occasion, and no matter what the two of these believe, no one wants this more than me.
Donovan Duke: Of course, not… how could we?
Jake Smith: Exactly Donovan, how could you? You don’t understand, no one does except me. But, when it comes down to it, I am the only one who shapes my destiny.
Mikaela Street: Donovan?
Donovan Duke: Well, I do understand you Jake, because I’m where you were right before Cash in the Vault. Difference is, I won’t need a cash-in to get the title, I’m just going to beat the living daylights out of you and take it.
Jake Smith: You can try
Donovan Duke: Oh, I will. Because I can think of no greater honor that going into Pain for Pride as Answers World Champion, to face Adam in the main event for all the marbles. And I know what Adam wants as well.
Mikaela Street: And finally, Adam?
Adam Lucas: My goals heading into Pain for Pride? That’s simple. Win, nothing more than that, and make good on all my promises made this season. Jake or Donovan, I’m sure either will deserve their spot. I’ll take mine, and with it, the Answers World Championship.
Mikaela Street: Thank you guys… and thank you for keeping it civil
Jake Smith: You know Adam isn’t going to help you right Donovan?
Donovan Duke: I told you, I don’t need or expect his help.
Jake Smith: You’re not on my level, you never will be
Deadprez: Things getting a little heated
Gavin Kirkland: Oh goody…
(Mikaela takes a step back, tensions starting to mount.)
Donovan Duke: You’re such an asshole do you know that? You’ve forgotten what brought you that title, and everything you stood for.
Jake Smith: No Donovan, unlike you, I understand what it takes to be a champion, and keep hold of the belt. I am not, and will never be a follower like you
Donovan Duke: A follower?
Jake Smith: Yeah, following Adam like a lost puppy. It’s pathetic.
Donovan Duke: That an attempt to rile me Jake? Because it isn’t going to work. Adam and I are solid, and always will be. This situation isn’t going to change that. You know what, I think we’ve said enough. I’ll see you at Fighting Spirit.
(Donovan goes to leave, Jake seeing this as an opportunity to take advantage, and he drops the belt, going for a right hand to the back of Donovan’s head. Donovan though is too clever for that and turns at the right time, blocking the shot, and pushing Jake back. Jake moves in again, but Adam tries to separate them, Donovan throwing a punch which Jake ducks, the shot catching Adam square on the jaw and knocking him backwards. Jake grabs the belt, and slides out the ring, Adam standing there holding his jaw, obviously shocked.)
Deadprez: Donovan just accidently caught Adam with that right hand. He was gunning for Jake. But Jake, ever the opportunist, ducked out the way.
Eve: Jake seemingly wanted to put some distance between Adam and Donovan, and he may have achieved that.
(Adam says something to Donovan, who immediately seems apologetic. Adam then taking a deep breath, and sliding out the ring, Donovan holding out his hands.)
Gavin Kirkland: Adam accepted the apology, knowing it was a mistake. But he didn’t like the way that all went down.
Eve: Jake like a snake, sliding out there when he saw what happened, and look at the grin on his face.
(The camera cuts back to Jake who is indeed grinning from ear to ear, more than happy with what had happened and to cause some tension. Adam stands at the bottom of the ramp, looking at Donovan, and then at Jake.)
Deadprez: This all seemed clean cut… but what happens now when Jake Smith takes on Donovan Duke in just seven days’ time. Will tensions boil over again?
Gavin Kirkland: This is EAW Prez, of course it will. This is all going to blow up at Fighting Spirit, you mark my words.
Eve: We’ll have to wait and see… but the Answers World Championship match at Fighting Spirit just went up a notch. Who will head into Pain for Pride as our champion? Make sure you tune in to find out guys.
(Jake disappears through the curtain, Adam backing up the ramp, still not sure what just happened. The camera then cuts to Donovan still standing in the ring, as the scene fades.)
( Saturday Night Showdown comes back from a commercial break, revealing Gina Romano standing in the middle of the ring and preparing to announce the upcoming contest. )
Gina Romano: THE FOLLOWING CONTEST IS SCHEDULED FOR ONE FALL!

( ‘The Only Thing They Fear Is You’ by Mick Gordon starts playing as Ryan Wilson comes out with a total serious look on his face and eyes of determination, with Xander following him from behind and backing him up. Ryan looks at Xander and nods at him, then walks straight to the ring, looking for nothing but a win over Jon Kelton here tonight. )
Gina Romano: INTRODUCING FIRST!… ACCOMPANIED BY XANDER PAYNE!…. FROM MONTRÉAL, QUÉBEC, CANADA!… WEIGHING IN AT 220 POUNDS!… HE IS… RYAN JOSEPHHHHHHHHHHHHH………. WILSONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Gavin Kirkland: It’s Dominion’s Ryan Wilson! It’s him! Ryan has been losing to Kelton in singles competition for quite a couple of times, but tonight he looks to redeem himself. He looks to make a change there and show that he’s not a forever loser to Kelton! He can do this, and he’s going to do it for sure!
Eve: Ryan knows that his weakness is Jon Kelton, but he will make sure that he can do something to prove that tonight is the day that Kelton will finally lose to him. This is what Ryan is here for, and it all makes sense.
( Ryan enters the ring and leans against the corner, taking a deep breath and preparing for the upcoming match. ‘Paint It, Black’ by The Rolling Stones then replaces Ryan’s theme as Jon Kelton, accompanied by Londyn Zelaya and Amir Yusuf, makes his way to the ring. Kelton has a confident smile on his face, looking at Ryan whom he knows he could beat with ease, while the other two follow him from behind. )
Gina Romano: INTRODUCING HIS OPPONENT!… ACCOMPANIED BY LONDYN ZELAYA AND AMIR YUSUF!…. FROM TORONTO, ONTARIO, CANADA… WEIGHING IN AT 204 POUNDS… HE’S ‘THE CHOSEN ONE’… JONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN KELTONNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!
Gavin Kirkland: And here comes the representative of Devolution, Jon Kelton, alongside Amir Yusuf and Londyn Zelaya. Kelton knows deep down that he can’t lose this and is determined to not let Ryan pick up a win against him. Tonight, Kelton is here to beat Ryan once again and prove that he’s not breaking any of his promises.
( DING DING DING! )
Deadprez: Ryan takes on Kelton once again with Xander Payne at Ryan’s corner and Amir Yusuf and Londyn Zelaya at Kelton’s corner. Both men get out of their corners and meet each other in the middle of the ring. Ryan throws a right hand up and signals Kelton to join him for a collar and elbow tie-up, but Kelton doesn’t feel like it, then connects with a quick kick to Ryan’s gut, grabbing him and sending him to the ropes. Ryan bounces off but he quickly slides underneath Kelton’s legs, POPPING BACK TO HIS FEET AND TRYING TO HOOK KELTON DOWN FOR A BELLY TO BACK SUPLEX!
Eve: Kelton doesn’t let that slide and earlier, he connects with a back elbow to the side of Ryan’s head to put a stop to his action. Kelton grabs Ryan instead and tries to drop him to the ground with a headlock takedown, but THAT ONLY CAUSES RYAN ROLLBACK TO HIS FEET QUICKLY AND KNOCK KELTON HIMSELF BACK DOWN TO THE GROUND WITH A RUNNING KNEE!
Gavin Kirkland: Kelton is aware of what Ryan is going to do and he ducks under, letting Ryan send himself flying over his head. Ryan goes for a Running Knee but he hits the air instead, crashing to the ground. But that only makes Ryan want to get back to his feet even more. He slaps the floor and immediately comes back to his feet with Kelton turning his attention right back to him. Kelton steps in to smack Ryan, but Ryan ducks under and throws a right hand across Kelton’s jaw, sending him stumbling backwards down to the ropes!
Deadprez: Kelton gets sent right back down to the ropes as he walks back and tries to reply, but Ryan quickly leaps off the ground and takes him down with a dropkick! Kelton ends up falling and rolling down to the outside of the ring to recover. Both sides are not doing anything yet but just keeping their eyes on the match from now on, which Kelton doesn’t worry about. Kelton then rolls back into the ring, but Ryan quickly takes him down and STARTS RAINING DOWN A FLURRY OF PUNCHES ON HIM RIGHT OFF THE BAT!
Eve: Ryan has been taking advantage against Kelton so far in this match, proving to us that he’s out for revenge tonight. Kelton gets Ryan off him by pushing him away and now comes back to his feet, stepping in and trying to shove him right back down to the ground with a right forearm, but Ryan catches him, pulling him in and quickly going for A NORTHERN LIGHTS SUPLEX!
Gavin Kirkland: Kelton wouldn’t let that slide! No! Kelton doesn’t let Ryan play him around anymore and starts striking Ryan repeatedly with elbows to the top of his head. Ryan couldn’t take it anymore and now releases Kelton from him. Kelton now has a chance to make a move as he steps in, seizes him, and goes for a Spinebuster, but Ryan doesn’t back away from a fight either! He also comes up with A HARD ELBOW to the top of Kelton’s head!
Deadprez: It’s been a great back and forth so far in this match, and both men are non-stop. Everyone here on the cruise has been enjoying this match so far, including us. Now Ryan steps back in to control the game, but Kelton stops Ryan right there with a gut punch. He now picks up the pace by seizing Ryan, lifting him off the ground, and DROPPING HIM TO THE GROUND WITH A MODIFIED SIDEWALK SLAM!
Eve: Ryan is now in trouble, and of course, Kelton is now the one holding him like a punching bag at the moment as he starts sitting over Ryan and raining down a flurry of punches, just like what he did to him earlier in this match. Ryan tries to defend himself, but nothing seems to be working well for him at all. Kelton is getting it all right there!
Gavin Kirkland: Xander wouldn’t do anything else but try to make sure that Ryan is okay by keeping him in check and putting his eyes on him- What the.
( Amir steps in and starts yelling at Xander, pointing at him and seeming like he finds Xander to be quite suspicious all around here. )
Amir Yusuf: (Off-Mic) AYE, BOZO! SIT YOUR FATASS STILL AND JUST WATCH THE MATCH LIKE A PROPER VIEWER!
Xander Payne: (Off-Mic) Sighs. Leave me alone, please.
Amir Yusuf: (Off-Mic) NOT UNTIL YOU SIT DOWN AND SHUT UP-
Deadprez: OH, THAT WOULD DO WELL! XANDER SHUTS AMIR DOWN RIGHT AWAY WITH A SUPERKICK AND IS NOW PICKING HIM UP OFF THE GROUND BEFORE DRIVING AMIR RIGHT ONTO THE EDGE OF THE BARRICADE WITH ‘LAST SEDATION’ POP-UP POWERBOMB! LONDYN STANDS THERE, LOOKING IN SHOCK AT WHAT XANDER JUST DID TO AMIR!
( Xander shakes his head and looks up to Londyn, who is still standing there, surprised by what Xander just did to Amir. She is trying not to get too close to Xander either. )
Xander Payne: (Off-Mic) Wanna join him?
Londyn Zelaya: (Off-Mic) No thanks. :woah:
Gavin Kirkland: I know we just witnessed a fat man going crazy on an innocent one out there, but back in the match, Kelton keeps kicking Ryan’s butt and making it hurt much worse than ever before right now! Kelton now locks Ryan and sends him into the corner, running in and connecting with him WITH A CLOTHESLINE! He pulls him out and DROPS RYAN RIGHT ONTO THE GROUND IMMEDIATELY WITH AN EARTH-SHATTERING SPINEBUSTER! KELTON HOOKS RYAN’S LEG AND QUICKLY GOES FOR A COVER!

Eve: Ryan kicks out just in time, not too close for Kelton to win yet! Kelton doesn’t waste any time to continue assaulting Ryan as if Ryan has been hurting his dog or something! Kelton jumps over Ryan once again and now starts punching and striking him with both fists, making him way more battered and bruised!
Gavin Kirkland: Ryan knows deep down that he could fight back somebody like Kelton, but we have to keep watching if that’s possible for him to do so! Kelton is controlling him right now and he’s treating Ryan like a punching bag at the moment. Kelton finally stops punching him and now picks him off the ground, sending him down to the ropes behind him and a knee gets sent right into Ryan’s gut!
Deadprez: My brother Kelton grabs him once again and now tosses Ryan to the opposite side of the ring, standing by and waiting for Ryan to return. But Ryan doesn’t do him any favors by kicking him right into his chest, sending Kelton stumbling back down to the ropes. Ryan immediately runs in and CLOTHESLINES Kelton, sending him over the ropes, but Kelton only lands on the apron!
Eve: Ryan runs back in and tries to tackle Kelton, sending him off the apron, but Kelton moves out of harm’s way and kicks Ryan right in his face, sending him back into the middle of the ring. Ryan holds his face and turns back around to pay attention to Kelton as he flies off and FORCES RYAN TO THE GROUND WITH A SPRINGBOARD KNEE STRIKE!
Gavin Kirkland: Ryan sidesteps and lets Kelton land both feet on the ground, going behind and quickly sending Kelton FLYING OVER HIS HEAD WITH A BELLY TO BACK SUPLEX THIS TIME! Kelton ends up standing back to his feet, finding himself in no man’s land, not knowing where he is at the moment before Ryan returns to his feet, sprinting towards the ropes, BOUNCING OFF AND DRIVING KELTON RIGHT ONTO THE GROUND WITH LETHAL INJECTION! A HANDSPRING CUTTER!
Deadprez: Kelton doesn’t know where Ryan is at that moment before getting driven to the ground completely and ends up laying down there, looking absolutely destroyed by Ryan! This is Ryan’s chance to make a move as he just made it! Ryan now returns to his feet and starts making his way all the way up to the top corner with Xander keeping his eyes on him and watching him closely, trying to give his partner all his support right there! Londyn does the same, motivating Kelton and trying to make sure that Kelton is still fine to compete in this match and win it!
Eve: Ryan is now in the top corner with his eyes locked on Kelton, who is still trying to come back on his feet…. wait, why does it feel like something strange is happening there?
Gavin Kirkland: Is that- IT’S AMIR YUSUF! AMIR IS COMING BACK FOR WHAT XANDER JUST DID TO HIM EARLIER AS HE FLIES OFF THE CROWD’S BARRICADE AND TAKES DOWN XANDER RIGHT AWAY! NOW, HE STARTS BASHING XANDER WITH A LOT OF PUNCHES AS LONDYN JOINS HIS SIDE AND STARTS GROUPING UP WITH AMIR, GANGING UP ON XANDER IN A 2 ON 1 SITUATION AGAINST HIM!
Deadprez: OH CHRIST, WHAT SHOULD I FOCUS ON HERE FIRST? NOW, AMIR PICKS HIM OFF THE GROUND WITH THE HELP OF LONDYN AND TRIES TO SEND XANDER TO OUR TABLE! STOP FROM WHAT YOU ARE ABOUT TO DO, THE TWO OF YOU!
Eve: NO, BUT ALMOST! THANKS TO XANDER, AS HE STOPS HIMSELF FROM GETTING ACROSS OUR TABLE AND GRABS AMIR, SENDING HIM RIGHT INTO THE BARRICADE AND STARTS FIGHTING HIM INSTEAD! NOW, IT’S A BATTLE BETWEEN XANDER AND AMIR ON THE OUTSIDE! AMIR TRIES TO FIGHT BACK, BUT XANDER QUICKLY DUCKS UNDER HIS FIST AND HITS HIM HARD WITH A LARIAT! Gavin Kirkland: Two men in the ring are still paying attention to the match itself despite what is happening on the outside right now. Now Ryan is ready to take a flight off the top corner as Kelton reaches both feet. Ryan jumps off the top corner and GOES FOR A WHISPER IN THE WIND BUT KELTON SIDESTEPS AND LETS RYAN CRASH DOWN TO THE GROUND! KELTON SNEAKS FROM BEHIND AND GRABS RYAN, TWISTING AND TAKING HIM DOWN QUICKLY WITH A ROLLING CUTTER! A ROLLING CUTTER SHUTS RYAN DOWN!
Deadprez: Who says Kelton is done just there? Now Kelton pops back to his feet and runs off from where he is towards the ropes, jumping up to the middle rope and CONNECTING WITH A BEAUTIFUL LIONSAULT RIGHT ONTO RYAN! Now Kelton believes that is enough, and he goes for a cover by hooking Ryan’s leg once again! Will that be enough to put Ryan down?

Eve: I’m pretty sure that the whole cruise is having a lot of fun with this match right now. Everybody is enjoying what’s going on right here, including the fight outside that’s still ongoing! Xander now picks Amir off the ground and starts dragging him down to the walkway to continue the fight! Xander drives a right boot onto Amir’s gut, making sure that he stays down while Londyn is still down after Xander tossed her around like a ragdoll earlier!
Deadprez: Now back to the ring, Kelton reaches both feet and backs into the corner, locking his eyes on Ryan, looking to end everything right there! Ryan still tries to return to his feet despite not knowing where Kelton is at the moment. Ryan starts looking around and barely sees that Kelton is looking to end everything right there….. JUST AS RYAN REACHES BOTH FEET, KELTON BURSTS OUT OF THE CORNER AND CUTS RYAN IN HALF WITH HIS ‘FINAL ATONEMENT’ SPEAR!
Gavin Kirkland: A SWINGING NECKBREAKER IN SURPRISE! Ryan just caught Kelton off guard with a swinging neckbreaker, saving himself from getting shut down just in time! Ryan backs away from Kelton, holding himself back as Kelton tries to return to his feet. Ryan leans against the ropes and puts all his focus on Kelton, STEPPING IN AND KNOCKING KELTON RIGHT BACK DOWN TO THE GROUND WITH A SPINNING HEEL KICK!
Eve: Kelton moves out of the way just in time and lets Ryan crash down to the ground again. Kelton goes behind Ryan and picks him up off the ground right away, GOING FOR A RELEASE GERMAN SUPLEX TO TAKE HIM DOWN!
Deadprez: Ryan doesn’t let that happen just yet because he doesn’t think so. Ryan quickly drives his right back elbow to the side of Kelton’s head as he releases him. Kelton ends up staggering away from Ryan, and now Ryan pulls him in, TURNING KELTON INTO AN INSIDE CRADLE ROLL-UP! COULD THIS BE IT FOR RYAN? WOULD THIS FINALLY BE THE TIME THAT RYAN BEATS KELTON?

Ryan goes for a lariat, but Kelton ducks under, but RYAN TURNS BACK AROUND, FAKING HIM OUT AND TAKING KELTON DOWN WITH A NORTHERN LARIAT TO THE BACK OF THE HEAD, HITTING HIM REALLY HARD THAT KELTON’S HEAD ENDS UP SPIKING TO THE GROUND!
Deadprez: The upper hand goes back to Ryan right there, and now Kelton is down. But Ryan isn’t done yet, he starts picking Kelton off the ground and lifts him up, DROPPING HIM RIGHT ONTO THE MAT WITH THE ‘LA BOMBE BLEU’ BLUE THUNDER BOMB, SENDING KELTON CRASHING AND BURNING!
Eve: Not so fast! Kelton manages to escape just in time, with both feet landing behind Ryan’s back instead. Ryan turns back around, but it’s too late as Kelton drives a kick to his gut and CONNECTS WITH A TWIST OF FATE, SENDING RYAN FLYING OFF THE GROUND AND CRASHING DOWN TO THE MAT!
Gavin Kirkland: Now, on the outside, Xander is still beating up Amir, but Amir starts fighting back! Xander starts backing away from Amir as he keeps punching him and forcing Xander to get away from him. But wait, what’s Amir doing? Why is he running up to the stage?…. AMIR RUNS DOWN FROM THE STAGE AND DROPS XANDER TO THE CONCRETE FLOOR WITH A RUNNING DROPKICK! WOW!
Deadprez: Looking at where Kelton is right now, he picks Ryan up off the mat and looks to drop him down with THE ‘HAKAI’ FUTURE SHOCK DDT THAT MIGHT END IT ALL FOR HIM, BUT RYAN STRUGGLES! RYAN IS STILL IN THE MATCH AND NOT OUT OF IT YET, EVEN AFTER THE TWIST OF FATE THAT KELTON JUST GAVE HIM!
Eve: Ryan knows that he can win this match, no matter how hard Kelton tries to stop him, but Kelton also knows that he can’t afford to lose against the likes of Ryan! THIS IS GOING TO BE A WAY FOR RYAN TO PICK UP A WIN!”
Deadprez: KELTON IS STILL ALIVE and it’s not just yet for him. He knows that he’s in a very dangerous spot here and is not trying to get himself into it! He starts throwing a right hand into Ryan’s gut repeatedly, and now Ryan releases him right before he could even have a chance to lift him off the ground!
Eve: Both men end up standing on their own feet, but Kelton quickly wakes himself up from the slump and pulls Ryan in, LOOKING TO DROP HIM TO THE GROUND WITH THE ‘END OF STORY’ HEADLOCK DRIVER!
Gavin Kirkland: Ryan is aware of what’s coming just in time and guides Kelton towards the ropes. Kelton bounces off the ropes towards Ryan, who looks up and tosses Kelton down to the ground with an arm drag, then connects the back of his head with a dropkick! Kelton falls right onto the ground and immediately holds the back of his neck. Despite trying to roll away, Ryan grabs hold of Kelton and drags him back towards the center of the ring, PICKING HIM UP AND SETTING HIM UP FOR THE ‘LA BOMBE BLEU’ BLUE THUNDER BOMB ONCE AGAIN!

Eve: Damn. Just damn. I know Ryan really wants to win this, but it seems that luck doesn’t favor him anytime he goes up against Kelton these days.
Deadprez: It’s really unfortunate to see Ryan looking like this, but well, I guess he really needs to keep working and maybe one day he will actually beat Kelton. Regardless, it was a great match and congratulations on another win over him, Kelton.
( ‘Paint It, Black’ by The Rolling Stones plays as Xander quickly rolls into the ring to check on Ryan Wilson, who has been completely destroyed by him. Meanwhile, Kelton slowly returns to his feet and celebrates his victory over Ryan, who looks completely out of it. Kelton then rolls out of the ring and leaves with Amir and Londyn following him to the back. The final shot shows Ryan slowly awakening and looking very disappointed in himself, with Xander looking at him unable to do anything to help his emotions, before the scene fades into a commercial break. )
( A commercial is shown for the movie ‘Oppenheimer’, coming soon in July, featuring Xander Payne, who always seems to be interested in world history so maybe this is another topic on his hit list since it’s about the creation of the atomic bomb in Manhattan. )
(We cut to one of the luxury rooms on the Disney Wish which has been done out as Kennedy Streets office. The woman herself is sitting at her desk, looking as flawless as ever. Also in the room is Drake Armstrong, who is of course pandering to Kennedy’s ever need, as Richard Tracie P.I sits watching, perhaps a little sickened by the scene.)
Kennedy Street: Do you like Kennie’s little boat Richard?
Richard Tracie P.I: That I do, thank you for inviting me on board.
Kennedy Street: It is only right considering how hard you have been working on the investigation. I want you to know that I appreciate it honey.
Richard Tracie P.I: Thank you, it’s nice to be appreciated.
Kennedy Street: So, seeing as we are in these lavish surroundings, do you have any good news for me?
Richard Tracie P.I: Do you know what Ms. Street, I do indeed believe that I have found the culprit, and I have all the evidence I need for them to be brought to justice.
(Kennedy seems genuinely surprised by the revelation. She had unfortunately had her doubts about Richard since day one, but the retainer she had authorized on the companies behalf meant that there was no backing out.)
Kennedy Street: Really, well that is fantastic news. Isn’t it Drake?
(Drake nods obediently… I mean what else did you expect?)
Kennedy Street: So, Richard, why don’t you tell me more?
(Richard smirks and leans forwards, about to reveal everything he knows, but Kennedy puts a single finger up.)
Kennedy Street: In fact, Honey, no. Don’t tell me a single thing of your findings. Don’t even give me a clue. I don’t want to know
Richard Tracie P.I: No? You don’t want to know who it was now?
Kennedy Street: Oh Honey, I want to know even more than I want Drake to slip off my shoes and massage my feet. And believe me, his foot massages are exquisite. In fact, I’m sure I will have a few sleepless nights wondering who it might be.
Richard Tracie P.I: So what do you mean?
(Now it is Kennedy’s turn to lean forwards, and clasp her hands on her temporary, but still classy desk.)
Kennedy Street: Kassidy asked to be told who it was by Fighting Spirit, or else she would take matters into her own hands right? So, by that statement, we have until then to reveal our assailant.
Richard Tracie P.I: I believe that is what she said yes. I mean, I’ve not really spoken to Kassidy a lot, I’m not even sure she likes me.
Kennedy Street: I’m not sure she likes anyone, don’t take it personally. So, let’s make a spectacle of it, and out the culprit once and for all there and then. Just imagine the ratings Honey. Kennie is getting goosebumps just thinking about it.
(Richard nods his head, obviously pleased with that decision.)
Richard Tracie P.I: I’d like that, after all it has been my investigation. Kassidy made it clear that she wants the truth, I’m sure she would love everyone to know as well. I plan on doing everything I can to not only make sure that this individual is ousted, but make sure that Kassidy is the one who does it.
Kennedy Street: I like your thought process Richard. Then it is settled… not a word until Fighting Spirit, to no one OK? I don’t want the person thinking we are onto them
Richard Tracie P.I: I promise Ms. Street. And thank you again.
Kennedy Street: No. Thank you Honey.
(Richard gets up and walks out the room, the door closing behind him. Kennedy smiles, and kicks off her heels, lifting them up on a footstool as Drake dutifully oils his hands and starts massaging her feet.)
Kennedy Street: Yes, that’s good Honey, right there.
(Drake smiles, happy to have served Kennedy well.)
Kennedy Street: Finally, this is all going to be solved, but can I let you into a secret?
Drake Armstrong: Anything
Kennedy Street: I think I already know who did it
Drake Armstrong: You do?
Kennedy Street: Yes Honey, I do. And you know what, if I’m right and it is who I am thinking of… this is going to be soooooo good. I can already see the ratings… and the aftermath? It will make Showdown THE dominant brand in EAW. There will be no stopping us Drake. No one will get in our way.
(Drake just nods, of course agreeing with her, and Kennedy is left to sit back and imagine what comes next.)
(The camera returns to the ring where Gina Romano is once again standing in the middle of the ring with a microphone in hand, ready to start the introductions for the next contest.)
Gina Romano: Ladies and gentlemen! This next contest has a THIRTY MINUTE TIME LIMIT and it is scheduled for ONE FALL!

(“Partition (Smearcase Trap Remix)” by Beyoncé starts to play as a spotlight shines at the beginning of the entrance area. The crowd immediately starts to boo as the camera focuses on the legs before slowly working up the figure of the very dangerous “Mauler” Kassidy Heart has arrived on deck. Kassidy is wearing her trademark Kassible Lecter mask while looking as sultry as ever as she heads to the ring.)
Gina Romano: Introducing first and making her way to the ring! She is from Sydney, Australia. Weighing in at 141 pounds! Here is “THE MAULER” AND THE 2023 GRAND RAMPAGE WINNER… KASSIDY HEART!!
Gavin Kirkland: Here comes the Grand Rampage winner and she has a lot on her mind! It’s all going to come to a head next week at Fighting Spirit!
Deadprez: That’s right. Not only will she reveal which World Champion she will be challenging at Pain for Pride, we will also find out the results of the investigation and interrogations of Richard Tracie P.I.. Tonight, she is looking to get some competition in.
Eve: Kass probably thinks of this match as some sort of warm up for Pain for Pride and that is true Kassidy Heart fashion. But even she needs to be careful because her opponent can be very unpredictable.
(Kassidy enters the ring and removes her mask as she hands it to the referee and reads them the riot act to be careful with it before she takes her corner and her music fades off. Seconds later, “Superhero (Heroes and Villains)” by Metro Boomin, Future and Chris Brown starts to play as Harley Lewis makes his appearance on deck. The crowd watching the show continues to boo as Harley pays them no mind as he heads to the ring. )
Gina Romano: Introducing her opponent! He is from Manchester, England. Weighing in at 196 pounds! Here is “THE CROWN PRINCE OF CRIME” HARLEY LEWIS!
Eve: Here comes Harley Lewis after a great showing at the Grand Rampage match. Tonight, you might consider that he is in the biggest singles match of his career as he takes on the Hall of Famer Kassidy Heart.
Gavin Kirkland: Lately, this Harley Lewis has not been playing with a full deck and has been using any means necessary in order to get exactly what he wants and in order to improve his standing here on Showdown.
Deadprez: But he can’t be arrogant and cocky because Kassidy Heart can and will humble him really quick if he doesn’t focus on the task at hand. Could he get the job done tonight? He certainly could.
(Harley enters the ring and takes his corner as his entrance music fades off. The referee checks both competitors, even though Kassidy would much rather punch them out for touching her, before heading over to the timekeeper and calling for the bell.)
(DING! DING! DING!)
Deadprez: Here we go! Main event is underway! Harley and Kass come to the center of the ring and lock up and quickly Kassidy uses her power advantage to get a side headlock on Harley! Kassidy quickly transitions into a hammerlock…
Eve: AND KASSIDY SHOVES HARLEY AWAY! Harley did not like that one bit. Harley gets right in Kassidy’s face and fires a forearm in Kassidy’s face that stuns her. Harley tries to fire off a clothesline, BUT KASSIDY DUCKS!
Gavin Kirkland: Kassidy quickly turns around AND SLAPS HARLEY IN THE BACK OF THE HEAD! Harley stumbles forward in shock as Kass brings the fight to Harley with straight forearms to the face.
Deadprez: Harley sent back as Kass repeats the forearms until Harley’s back against the ropes. Kassidy whips him to the other side as Harley comes back AND KASS TAKES HIM OUT WITH A NICE BACK BODY DROP–
Gavin Kirkland: BUT HARLEY LANDS ON HIS FEET! Harley hits the ropes on the other side and comes back as Kassidy catches him and looks to counter into a backbreaker, BUT HARLEY RAKES ONE OF KASS’ EYES BEFORE WRAPPING HIS LEGS AROUND KASSIDY’S HEAD AND COUNTERS INTO A HEADSCISSORS!
Eve: Kassidy sent for the ride as she holds one of her eyes and she looks ANGRY! Kass goes right back to Harley AND A DOUBLE LEG TAKEDOWN TAKES HARLEY TO THE MAT AND SHE IS UNLOADING ON HARLEY RIGHT NOW!
Gavin Kirkland: Kass is just throwing fists and fists all over Harley and the referee is admonishing Kass to open up those fists. The referee counts four and Kass stops the punches, BUT SHE TAKES A SWING AT THE REFEREE! LUCKY REF GOT OUT OF THE WAY AT THE LAST SECOND! How dare they count on my girl Kass!
Eve: Kass is NOT YOUR GIRL! But she was about a fingertip away from being disqualified if she would have struck the ref, but this match barely continues. Harley has made it back to his feet and Kass takes him right back down with a clothesline.
Deadprez: Kassidy is now just driving her boots right into Harley’s back. Harley’s trying to roll away from Kass, but Kass is still booting Harley. Harley makes it to the ropes and the referee hopes for a clean break.
Gavin Kirkland: BUT THE REF DOESN’T GET ONE AS KASSIDY SHOVES THE REFEREE OUT OF THE WAY AND GRABS HARLEY BY THE HAIR AS HE IS ON THE APRON AND BRINGS HIM BACK IN THE RING THE HARD WAY!
Deadprez: Harley lands hard AND KASSIDY FOLLOWS UP WITH A DROPKICK TO THE BACK OF THE NECK! Harley falls to the mat and Kassidy quickly follows up with a cover!

Eve: HARLEY KICKS OUT AT TWO! Kassidy quickly follows up with a crossface that catches Harley right in the mouth. WHAT A SHOT! Harley holds his mouth in pain as he checks to see if there’s any blood coming from his mouth.
Deadprez: No blood, but Kassidy once again pulls Harley back to his feet by the hair AND CLAP HIS EARS WITH THE CLASSIC CYMBAL CRASH! Kassidy is showing no respect to Harley at the moment as she looks towards Pain for Pride as she has Harley on the rails right now.
Eve: Harley staggered back as Kassidy sends him into the corner. Kassidy follows up in the corner with a clothesline that catches Harley right under the chin that sends him to the mat. Now Kass seems content with going up to the high rent district.
Gavin Kirkland: High money district is nothing new to Kassidy Heart as she climbs up to the top rope. Harley is still down as Kassidy turns around AND SHE DROPS DOWN WITH THE SPLIT LEG MOONSAULT–
Deadprez: BUT HARLEY ROLLS OUT OF THE WAY AT THE LAST MOMENT, BUT KASSIDY MANAGED TO LAND ON HER FEET! You have to give it to Kass for being one step ahead on that one as she heads right back to Harley AND DELIVERS A BASEBALL SLIDE DROPKICK!
Gavin Kirkland: The dropkick sends Harley right to the deck floor and that’s exactly where Kassidy wanted him to go. Harley is trying to get back to his feet on the deck floor AS KASSIDY HITS THE ROPES AT FULL SPEED!
Eve: KASSIDY DIVES THROUGH THE ROPES AND TAKES HARLEY BACK DOWN TO THE FLOOR WITH A SUICIDE DIVE! Kassidy is starting to get fired up and that’s the last thing that Harley wants.
Gavin Kirkland: The crowd on deck is booing Kassidy off the boat and Kassidy is enjoying every second of it as she drags Harley back to his feet AND SMASHES HIS FACE AGAINST THE EDGE OF THE RING AND SHE DOES IT AGAIN FOR GOOD MEASURE!
Eve: Maybe in her mind, she is doing this to teach Harley a lesson about stepping up against the one and only Mauler of EAW. Kassidy looks to roll Harley back into the ring, BUT SHE CHANGES COURSES AND THROWS HARLEY TOWARDS THE RING STEPS–
Deadprez: BUT HARLEY REVERSES AND KASS GOES BACK FIRST AGAINST THE RING STEPS! WHAT A THUD THEY CREATED ON IMPACT! Harley hears the referee’s count and rolls quickly back into the ring to break it.
Gavin Kirkland: But he rolls right back out to continue his attack on Kassidy as she is still down after hitting the steps. Harley now grabs two handfuls of Kass’ brunette locks AND HE JUST STARTS BASHING THE BACK OF HER HEAD AGAINST THE RING STEPS! STOP THAT! DISQUALIFY HIM, REF!
Deadprez: You might get your wish as the referee starts the count. The referee reaches four and he stops bashing Kass’ head against the steps. Harley brings Kassidy back to her feet and rolls her back into the ring. Harley quickly follows as Kassidy gets back to her feet AND HARLEY IS RIGHT BEHIND HER!
Eve: Harley with the headlock from behind AND HE DRIVES HER FACE FIRST INTO THE CANVAS WITH A RUNNING BULLDOG! KASSIDY’S FACE JUST BOUNCES OFF THE MAT AS HARLEY ROLLS HER OVER AND GOES FOR THE COVER!

Deadprez: KASSIDY POWERS OUT AT TWO! Good start for Harley, but it is going to take more than that to beat Kassidy Heart. Kassidy is a very tough and very dangerous competitor who is just getting started.
Eve: Harley needs to stay on Kass and he is going to as he brings Kassidy back to her feet AND CATCHES HER RIGHT IN THE FACE WITH THE EUROPEAN UPPERCUT! WHAT A SHOT! Now Harley grabs Kass AND CHOPS HER RIGHT ACROSS THE CHEST WITH THAT KNIFE EDGE CHOP. Too many more of those and he might pop some of her enhancement.
Gavin Kirkland: STOP DOING THAT! THAT IS NOT FUNNY! Kassidy felt that first chop AND HARLEY JUST CHOPS HER ONCE AGAIN! STOP BEING SUCH A BRUTE TO HER!! Now Harley kicks her in the gut and doubles her over.
Deadprez: Harley with the facelock as he lifts Kassidy in the air and drops her with the vertical suplex. Kass is down and now Harley decides to go up to the top rope. Harley looks to fly now.
Gavin Kirkland: Harley calls for Kass to get back to her feet AND HE JUMPS OFF THE TOP ROPE AS SHE GETS BACK UP! WHAT A DIVING METEORA FROM HARLEY–
Eve: WAIT! KASSIDY JUMPS UP AT THE LAST SECOND AND CATCHES HARLEY BEFORE BACKFLIPPING BOTH OF THEM AND PLANTS HARLEY WITH “THE BRIGHTON FLY”! HOLY CRAP WHAT A COUNTER INTO THE SPANISH FLY!
Gavin Kirkland: That was one of the most creative counters I have seen in a very long time and Harley’s back was driven hard onto the mat. Just like that, Kassidy is back in control.
Eve: Harley is down and Kassidy drags Harley back into the corner and Kassidy goes to the second rope this time. Kassidy looks down at Harley BEFORE DROPPING DOWN AND HITTING THE DIVING FIST DROP RIGHT ONTO HARLEY’S FACE!
Deadprez: Harley is holding his face and nose in pain after that direct hit and Kass rolls him over and hooks the leg for the cover.

Gavin Kirkland: HARLEY POWERS OUT AT TWO! You have to give Harley some credit for surviving this long against Kassidy Heart. But Kassidy is done being amused. Now she is getting right down to business. She is getting close to Mauler mode as she drags Harley to the middle of the ring–
Deadprez: KASS GRABS HIS LEGS AND ROLLS HIM OVER AND KASS HAS THE BOSTON CRAB SUBMISSION APPLIED! HARLEY IS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE RING AND HE HAS NOWHERE TO GO RIGHT NOW!
Eve: The referee is asking Harley if he wants to give it up, but Harley is dragging himself with all his strength so he can get to the ropes. Kass is powerful, so she is making it a very tough task for Harley as she continues to cause damage to his back.
Deadprez: Harley is fighting through whatever pain is being caused to him as he is only an inch or so away from the ropes. Can he reach the ropes and cause Kass to break the hold. HE… IS… SO… CLOSE….
Eve: HE GOT TO THE ROPES! HARLEY CAUSES A ROPE BREAK AND THE REFEREE IS FORCING KASSIDY TO BREAK THE HOLD! In natural Kassidy fashion she is going to milk the referee’s five count as long as she can to cause maximum damage.
Gavin Kirkland: She lets the Boston Crab go on four and Harley is holding his back in pain. Kass drags Harley away from the ropes AND SHE IS JUST BITING HIM! SHE HAS HER TEETH RIGHT IN HARLEY’S FOREHEAD!
Deadprez: The referee is making Kassidy retract those fangs of hers and she finally does, but we see a small trickle of blood coming from the wound on Harley’s forehead. Kass has such a maniacal grin on her face as she causes a wound.
Gavin Kirkland: Kassidy brings Harley back to his feet and turns him around before RAKING HER NAILS ACROSS HARLEY’S BACK! Harley clinches his back after that before wrapping her arms around Harley’s waist AND HOISTS HIM OVER FOR A GERMAN SUPLEX–

Eve: “Norvina Lights” by Kassidy Heart and Harley once again takes damage to the head. Kassidy drags Harley back to his feet and whips him to the ropes.

(“Partition (Smearcase Trap Remix)” starts to play again as the crowd starts booing once again as Kassidy Heart releases Harley from the submission, rolls off of Harley, and starts to make it back to her feet.)

Deadprez: What an amazing match we just witnessed here tonight in our main event match on Showdown. These two literally fought tooth and nail in order to get the victory and in the end it was the experience and the veteran instinct of Kassidy Heart that pulled her through to win this match.
(The referee goes to raise Kassidy’s hand in victory and only manages to raise it for a quick second before Kassidy snatches it away and glares at the referee as the referee goes to check on Harley,who is still down on the mat. Kassidy looks down at Harley before she decides to leave the ring and to leave the deck.)
Eve: Coming off the huge Grand Rampage win, Kassidy again proved herself as one of the best. Harley Lewis gave her a fight, but in the end she was too much!
Gavin Kirkland: I had no doubts in my mind that Kass was going to win this match. I mean that is my girl right there and she knows exactly how to turn a negative into a positive situation in a moment’s notice. Now she has some momentum towards her eventual Pain for Pride World Title match. I can’t wait to see who she chooses to fight, but right now I can give Harley Lewis some credit for putting up a good fight in this match.
Eve: She is NOT your girl, Gavin. But I will agree with you that we have to give Harley Lewis a lot of credit for this match. People immediately wrote him off when they saw he was facing Kassidy Heart, but he proved a lot of people wrong. He has improved his game and he showed that he is on his way with this performance against one of the absolute best in our business today.
Deadprez: That’s very true. Harley Lewis might not have the best attitude, but he certainly is on his way on Showdown and in EAW, but unfortunately tonight was not his night. Tonight’s match belongs to the one and only “Mauler”, Kassidy Heart. Kassidy is more than ready for whoever she challenges at Pain for Pride. She was on fire tonight. Congratulations once again to Kassidy Heart!
(The final shot shows Kassidy Heart standing at the beginning of the entrance area looking back at the ring with mild annoyance and possible disgust as Harley Lewis is starting to slowly sit up in pain with a look of annoyance and little bit of disappointment as the camera cuts elsewhere.)
(As Showdown returns from the final commercial break, “Her” by Megan Thee Stallion continues to play throughout the crowd watching on the Disney Wish as Kennedy Street is already in the ring holding the mic, there is a table set up there and some papers. There is also a lawyer present as well. )
Deadprez: Kennedy Street is already in the ring and she is not wasting anytime as we are going to close out Showdown with Ms. Extreme signing the waiver and making the match somewhat official as we are told this is indeed going to be an Unsanctioned Match.
Eve: I think with the volatility of this situation and the nature of Ms. Extreme’s injuries, who wouldn’t want to clean their hands of this mess?
Gavin Kirkland: She is dumb, plain and simple. Take the time off, come back and wrestle at Pain for Pride, whatever it takes, but right now she is going to face arguably the hungriest and possibly most dangerous woman on the roster because Pandora Paisley wants her spot and she I will do anything to grab it.
(Kennedy paces the ring some to the sound of boos, she looks ready to enjoy the rest of the night on the Cruise but clears her throat.)
Kennedy Street: Thank you so much for the reception honey, Kennie appreciates it.
(The crowd continues to boo as Kennedy looks on and smiles.)
Kennedy Street: What an incredible support you all have for Kennie and Showdown. Nevertheless, it’s time to get down to business. Ms. Extreme wanted a match at Fighting Spirit, we all know she is not medically cleared. And so in order for this match to happen, two things, number one it is contested on the sole purpose that she signs a waiver dismissing Disney and the EAW of any legalities. Secondly, because of the state of her injuries, the EAW nor Disney will sanction this match. You wanted, you got it but we wipe our hands clean of it honey. Furthermore…..
(Suddenly “They Call Me A God” by NEFEX starts to play, the crowd on the Disney Wish goes nuts as Ms. Extreme walks out, making no bones about what is about to happen, she does so gingerly but with intent as Kennedy turns and looks right at her.)
Deadprez: Business is about to pick up here and Ms. Extreme doesn’t look happy AT ALL!
Eve: Considering the woman in the ring tried to run over her with a car, I would think not but here she comes and looks intent!
Gavin Kirkland: Ms. Extreme should have gotten out of the way, that is all I am saying! Kennedy did nothing wrong!
(Ms. Extreme rolls into the ring with all intents and purposes of getting this finalized. She stands in the face of Kennedy Street.
Ms. Extreme: I know what you tried to do.
Kennedy Street: Yeah… Kennie tried to park, and you got in the way.
Ms. Extreme: No, you tried to take me out and after I am done, I am going to take you down next.
(Kennedy can just smile, knowing that Camille is in no condition to take anyone on right now. Instead, she gets bold and walks right up to Camille’s face when “Just Stop” by Disturbed starts to play and the crowd goes into a frenzy of boos as Pandora Paisley quickly makes her way out.)
Deadprez: HERE COMES TROUBLE! It was only a matter of time before Pandora was going to make her presence known!
Eve: Things could deteriorate fast in that ring as Pandora slides under the ropes, she quickly is prying herself between Kennedy and Camille!
Gavin Kirkland: We are about to have Fighting Spirit right here and now!
(There is a stare down with both ladies.)
Kennedy Street: Ladies…. Ladies. There is no need to have this tension, we are here to sign a waiver and make this match happen at Fighting Spirit. A Last Woman Standing Match.
Ms. Extreme: You want to do this now?
Pandora Paisley: Love, I would be glad to. Look at you Camille, all broken down, barely yourself mate. This is actually not a very good look; it is really embarrassing if you ask me. I told you already what I want, and that is to take YOUR spot. I want to be the new Ms. Extreme, no… I am GOING to BE the New Ms. Extreme and at Fighting Spirit, flower? It ends. It ends tragically for you, the fans and anyone else that has invested their time and money in this little crusade that will fail. Then you and the rest of them will be looking at the LAST WOMAN STANDING.
(Ms. Extreme nods, paces a little before she turns back to Pandora.)
Ms. Extreme: I like you Pandora, the spunk, the drive, too bad it is misplaced. See, you have what it takes to succeed in the EAW, I am looking at a woman that is the future, no question about it, but you have no future following her.
(Pointing at Kennedy Street, the crowd cheers.)
Ms. Extreme: I am willing to put everything on the line here for one more match, this time one on one with you. But let me leave you with this, hurt or not, I’m going to break your bony ass in two. So, why don’t I sign this waiver.
Kennedy Street: Great Idea. Honey?
(The Lawyer hands Ms. Extreme the waiver. She has a pen and is about to sign…. But then looks up at Pandora.)
Ms. Extreme: Let’s up the ante.
Pandora Paisley: Sign the bloody waiver. I already got what I wanted.
Ms. Extreme: Do you? I think there is one thing you want more, Pandora. Acknowledgment. Tell you what, if you beat me at Fighting Spirit? I will bestow upon you the name “Ms. Extreme” and will acknowledge it. I will give you that moniker because you earned it.
(Pandora’s eyes light up, then a small smile cracks on her face but Kennedy though is cautious here.)
Pandora Paisley: Go on because I know there is a BUT somewhere.
Ms. Extreme: There is. See, if I win, there is only one thing that I want.
Pandora Paisley: Go on.
Ms. Extreme: I want……. KENNEDY STREET ONE ON ONE AT PAIN FOR PRIDE!!
(The crowd erupts in cheers as Kennedy’s eyes widened and she starts shaking her head.)
Kennedy Street: I don’t think s……
Pandora Paisley: YOU’RE ON!
(The crowd erupts in thunderous cheers as Kennedy is completely shocked looking at the angry Pandora who stares down Ms. Extreme.)
Pandora Paisley: SIGN IT!
(Ms. Extreme quickly signs the waiver and throws it in Kennedy’s face. The General Manager looks stunned and then turns to Pandora but Ms. Extreme is glaring right at Kennedy….)
Deadprez: PANDORA JUST FOREARMED MS. EXTREME ON THE SIDE OF THE HEAD! CAMILLE FALLS TO ONE KNEE AND PANDORA PICKS HER UP……
(CRASH!!!!!!!!!)
Eve: PANDORA PUT MS. EXTREME THROUGH THE TABLE! BUT SHE IS NOT DONE! SHE PICKS UP CAMILLE AND THROWS HER OUT OF THE RING, ROLLING UNDER AFTER HER, SHE THEN DRAGS CAMILLE UP WHO IS BARELY CONSCIOUS AND TAKES HER RIGHT TO THE POOL!
Gavin Kirkland: YES! WE ARE GOING TO GET A WET CAMILLE!
(Pandora walks to the edge of the pool where Ms. Extreme can barely stand but looks back at Pandora….)
Deadprez: CAMILLE SPIT ON PANDORA….. AND PANDORA’S BOX CONNECTS! THAT SPINNING MAFIA KICK AND ….
(SPLASH!!!!!)
Eve: CAMILLE IS IN THE POOL! CAMILLE IS IN THE POOL AND SHE MIGHT BE UNCONSCIOUS, SOMEONE NEEDS TO GET HER OUT!
(A few officials jump in to help her out as Pandora stares at Camille who is just floating there. Kennedy is still in the ring trying to stomach what just happened with the stipulation. “Just Stop” by Disturbed starts to play throughout the arena as Pandora raises her arms in the air.)
Deadprez: Could we be looking at the NEW Ms. Extreme!? I don’t know but we will find out at Fighting Spirit! For Gavin Kirkland and Eve, this is Deadprez, goodnight everybody form the Disney Wish and we will see you in Miami!
(The final shot is Ms. Extreme floating in the pool as Pandora stares her down with that Cheshire smile.)
