(RECAP–Last week, the three brands of EAW, including Showdown, held the Grand Rampage event from the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts. The Elitists of Showdown put on an amazing show for all their exclusive matches. During night one, the team of Dominion and Ms. Extreme defeated the team of Devolution. After the match, Amir and Jon attacked Dominion with steel chairs in the ring. Outside the arena in the parking lot, Pandora and Ms. Extreme were brawling before Camille was run over by a mystery person–who turned out to be GM Kennedy Street. After the assault, Pandora continues the attack before leaving Ms. Extreme in the parking lot in horrible condition. The other Showdown exclusive match on Night One was the amazing Answers World Championship match between Jake Smith and Alex Myers. At the end of the day, Jake Smith was able to keep Alex Myers down for the three count to win the match and to retain the Answers World Championship .)
(The recap plays onto Night 2 and the action was just as hot as the first night. One match had Adam Lucas defeating Impact. Therefore, Impact is NOT added to the Answers World Championship match at Pain for Pride. The next highlighted match has Showdown’s team of Holly Arrow and Harper Lee, Potara, defeating Dynasty’s Soul Food Sunday to WIN the EAW Unified Tag Team Championship.The final highlighted match of Grand Rampage was the namesake Grand Rampage match. 30 Competitors representing all three brands fought in this match. At the end, it was Showdown’s Kassidy Heart winning the Grand Rampage match after eliminating Voltage’s Drake King. The final shot shows Kassidy Heart taking in her victory as the recap ends.)
(“Brick Wall” by A Day to Remember starts playing throughout the arena and the crowd immediately starts cheering wildly as they know that another exciting edition of Saturday Night Showdown. Tonight’s Showdown emanates from the National Sports Centre in Devonshire Parish, Bermuda. The camera scans across this sold out crowd. Many of the fans are holding their colorful, creative, and clever signs either supporting their favorites or ridiculing the Elitists they hate. After a minute of scanning throughout the entire arena and catching the crowd, the camera settles at the commentary table where Deadprez, Eve, and Gavin Kirkland are sitting and more than ready to call all of tonight’s Showdown action.)
Deadprez: We are on the heels of an amazing Grand Rampage event and on our way to Fighting Spirit. Welcome to SATURDAY NIGHT SHOWDOWN! I am Deadprez and alongside Eve and Gavin Kirkland, we will be calling all of the Showdown action. Are you guys ready for tonight?
Eve: I am always ready for Showdown, Prezzy. Especially since Showdown is the home of the Grand Rampage winner Kassidy Heart. Tonight, we will no doubt find out about her plans going into Pain for Pride. Which World Championship will she challenge for? Who knows? Will her plans change the plans for the already set Adam Lucas vs. Jake Smith Answers World Title match at Pain for Pride?
Gavin Kirkland: WOOOOOOOOO!!!! WE WRESTLE!!!! I LOVE IT! So much action tonight and that includes hearing from the NEEEWWWWW Unified Tag Team Champions POTARA AND THEY ARE HOME ON SHOWDOWN!! I LOVE IT!!!
Deadprez: I just found out that tonight we will get an exclusive update on Ms. Extreme and her condition following that horrific assault brought on her by Pandora Paisley with a little assistance from our GM Kennedy Street and her car. Speaking of… will Kennedy Street have anything to say about what happened. Stay tuned and we might get our answer.
Gavin Kirkland: IT’S MATCH TIME! WOOOOOO! I AM SO EXCITED!! Tonight we have a DEBUT!! WOOOOOOO! We will witness the debut of Marilyn Johnson as she takes on Lucas Johnson. Will Marilyn start her career on a positive note or will Lucas show why he’s one of the veterans of EAW.
Eve: Also tonight we have the undefeated Nyx taking on the dangerous Lexi! Will Nyx continue her winning ways or will Lexi stop her momentum right in its tracks? We will find out tonight.
Gavin Kirkland: We also have another match that could go a long way in finding a future title contender. It’s going to be Michael Machina taking on Komatsu Ogawa. Which competitor will pick up a huge victory tonight? We will find out later on.
Eve: We also have another singles contest on tap tonight. Ashlynn Quinn with Veena Adams by her side will be taking on Major Michael Scott Connor tonight. We found out last night that Ashlynn will take on Milli Banks next week on Super Dynasty. Will she use the numbers game to build some momentum for her title match or will Scotty get some momentum before his eventual New Breed title match. That’s tonight.
Deadprez: In our main event, we have Chris Elite going one on one against the upstart Hans Grayson. There is no doubt that Veena Adams will make her presence felt with this match. Will Elite get some momentum towards his National Elite Championship match or will Hans pick up one of the biggest wins of his career? We will find out tonight, but right now let’s take it to the ring.
(“Her” by Megan Thee Stallion starts to play throughout the arena and the fans in Bermuda get up and start to boo loudly. Suddenly Kennedy Street, the Showdown General Manager starts to walk out flanked by members of Devolution, Pandora Paisley, Jon Kelton, Amir Yusuf and Londyn Zelaya, along with Heidi Huxley and Drake Armstrong. There is a huge negative reaction as the beautiful Kennedy Street in all her glory looks out to the crowd and smiles as they make their way toward the ring.)
Deadprez: And here is our General Manager, Kennedy Street and there is a lot of controversy coming out of The Grand Rampage marquee event. After running Ms. Extreme over with a car, the big question now is, was it on purpose or was it an accident?
Eve: Prez, you know that Kennedy did that on purpose. That was vehicular assault on Ms. Extreme, and we don’t even know how bad her condition is now.
Gavin Kirkland: How dare you say that she tried to run over Ms. Extreme on purpose! She got in the way of Kennedy trying to rush into the arena! That was it!
(Kennedy gets to the ring, Drake Armstrong opens the ropes for the Kennedy, Heidi, Pandora and Londyn. They finally all get in the ring to the sound of boos.)
Gina Romano: PLEASE WELCOME AT THIS TIME…. ACCOMPANIED BY MEMBERS OF DEVOLUTION! HEIDI HUXLEY AND DRAKE ARMSTRONG…. THE GENERAL MANAGER OF SHOWDOWN… KENNEDY STREET!!!
(The boos continue to rain down on the members in thew ring before Gina hands the mic to Kennedy Street who looks around as her music fades. The jeering is at all time high levels as Kennedy then slowly brings the mic to her lips, but stops as Pandora takes it.)
Pandora Paisley: BERMUDA! SHUT THE HELL UP BUNCH OF WANKERS AND PAY HOMAGE TO KENNEDY STREET!!!!
(The crowd boos even louder.)
Pandora Paisley: SHE IS THE REASON YOU ARE EVEN HERE!
(That just brings more boos as Kennedy tries to calm down Pandora and is handed the mic.)
Kennedy Street: Thank you for the warm welcome…. Bermuda!
(It is deafening now as she smiles looking at the rest of the crew in the ring.)
Kennedy Street: Kennie personally prefers Jamaica or Aruba as a destination spot instead of this dump, but we can’t always get what we want honey. Anyway, if you people would pipe down, we can get down to business!
(The decibels of the crowd continue to rise with each time Kennedy or anyone in that ring talk.)
Kennedy Street: Bermuda…. You are too kind honey, but your Sexy Flawless General Manager is here to clear up a few things. First of all, let’s talk about what happened at the Grand Rampage. A HUGE congratulations to Kassidy Heart who brought home the Grand Rampage win and the FIRST woman to ever win it back to Showdown. That is TWO years in a row. A big round of applause!
(Everyone in the ring is clapping, a lot of the audience members are too.)
Kennedy Street: Now, settle down, let’s get down to business. Accidents happen honey and the Boston airport is atrocious. My flight was late, wasn’t able to get to the arena on time, getting stuck in traffic, going in the wrong directions, that city sucks. Anyway, when Kennie pulled into the parking lot, Ms. Extreme suddenly jumped in front of me. It was crazy, Kennie didn’t see her and usually I saw all animals before I could swerve around like cows, deer, etc., but she just crashed right in that gorgeous Bentley which the damage of it was over seven thousand dollars that came out of my own money, but whatever. The thing is, Ms. Extreme…. Well, she is still alive.
(The crowd erupts in cheers as Kennedy turns to Pandora who whispers something in her ear. She then nods as we can see Amir laugh some.)
Kennedy Street: Yeah… yeah I know…. Shame really…. That she is not de…. Here tonight!
(Devolution start to laugh as does Drake Armstrong. Heidi Huxley smirks. The crowd continues to boo.)
Kennedy Street: The latest report is she is being fed through a tube and can barely move, so in other words she is NO LONGER a problem to Kennedy and Showdown, but I want to make sure that Kennie is cleared of any charges and that everyone understands that even after the investigation, it was considered an accident. Now I am sure you are all wondering, what about what Pandora did?
(The Hellcat cracks her Cheshire smile, but Kennedy is not done, because there is a lot more to address.)
Kennedy Street: I hope for Camille to have a speedy recovery and when and IF she ever does come back to Showdown, she has this woman… PANDORA PAISLEY waiting for her honey!
(Pandora stretches out her arms and screams as the rest in the ring clap at the dangerous vixen.)
Kennedy Street: But…. Enough of this. While Devolution was not victorious at The Grand Rampage, who really looked like the winners, honey? That is what dominance and power is all about. See, these Elitists in the ring are the future of the business, they are part of what Showdown will bring, them along with so many others in the back. But, Kennie does have too tell the roster, that they did a great job at The Grand Rampage. POTARA are the NEW Unified Tag Team Champions…. They brought the gold home, honey!
(The crowd cheers for POTARA and their legendary win over Soul Food Sunday.)
Kennedy Street: Adam Lucas and Impact tore the house down!
(Again, the crowd cheers for the name of Adam Lucas.)
Kennedy Street: Incredible performances from all the Elitists representing that Blue Brand that did their best and really impressed in the Grand Rampage match! See, Kennedy Street CARES about her roster, she wants every single one of them to stand out and do their absolute best. Now though this is the ROAD TO PAIN FOR PRIDE! EVERY single Elitist in the back and standing in this ring on the Showdown brand has a mission to be at the grandest stage of them all…. And Kennie wants for Showdown to make their mark in Tennessee this year. But first we have Fighting Spirit in Miami! My expectations are simple, honey….. show the EAW that YOU BELONG!
(This time the crowd goes nuts and starts cheering. Kennedy looks over at The Devolution and then Drake Armstrong….)
Kennedy Street: Show THEM… you belong. Enjoy the show.
(Kennedy tosses the mic as “Her” blasts throughout the stadium as the crowd starts to boo. Drake Armstrong opens the ropes for Kennedy as she steps out. She is followed by Pandora and Londyn, Heidi and then Jon Kelton, Amir Yusuf and finally Drake Armstrong. The crowd boos them heavily while Kennedy waves and smiles.)
Deadprez: Kennedy with a strong message to the Showdown roster and a congratulatory one to those that competed at the Grand Rampage, but she denies that running over Camille was on purpose, she has claimed it was an accident. At this point I don’t even know what to believe anymore. But she did send out one message and it was pertinent to those in the ring.
Eve: She made it a point to look at The Devolution and those in the ring, but she is right about one thing, it IS Pain For Pride season and now it is time for every Elitist to stand up to the plate and hit a homerun! But first we have the Fighting Spirit!
Gavin Kirkland: She is such an inspiration and why Kennedy Street is the best General Manager ever!
(The crowd continues to boo as the last shot is Kennedy walking to the back with her entourage, fading to a commercial break.)
(As Saturday Night Showdown returns from a commercial break, Gina Romano is standing in the middle of the ring with a microphone in her hand, preparing to announce the opening contest of tonight’s show. )

( ‘Ready To Die’ by The Notorious B.I.G. plays throughout the arena as Lucas Johnson makes his entrance, exuding confidence and determination. He keeps his eyes fixed on the ring as he makes his way towards it. )
Gina Romano: INTRODUCING FIRST!… FROM LONG ISLAND, NEW YORK!… WEIGHING IN AT 204.5 POUNDS!…. HE IS ‘THE EMPEROR OF VIOLENCE’ !!!… LUCASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!… JOHNSONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
( Lucas Johnson finishes his warm-up routine and steps into the ring, ready for his match then ‘Heads Will Roll’ by Yeah Yeah Yeah replaces his entrance theme. Marilyn Johnson, looking stunning and confident, makes her first-ever appearance in EAW and makes her way towards the ring. The crowd somehow boos her but she keeps his confident smile up and makes her way towards the ring. )
Gina Romano: HIS OPPONENT!… MAKING HER EAW DEBUT!… FROM LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA!… WEIGHING IN AT 117 POUNDS!… ‘THE IRRESISTIBLE POISON’ !!!!…. MARILYNNNNNNNNN!!!…. JOHNSONNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!
( DING DING DING! )
Gavin Kirkland: The match between Hot Marilyn and Lucas Johnson is underway. Lucas doesn’t have any time to appreciate Marilyn’s beauty as He charges like a bull in a china shop and lands a knee to her gut, leaving her stuck in the corner like a statue! He then proceeds to connect with a series of mudhole stomps and kicks, keeping her down! This man must be praying for a time like this for a while now!
Eve: Lucas ceases his stomping and proceeds to yank her out of the corner, hurling her towards the ropes. Marilyn rebounds off the ropes, and Lucas elegantly vaults over her as she hurtles towards the other side. Marilyn comes hurtling back towards him, but he cleverly evades her by ducking underneath but she pulls a break. Marilyn rapidly pivots and snatches him in a quick DDT planting Lucas Johnson!
Deadprez: It’s not too close, pal! Lucas throws it on before he tries to twist Marilyn’s arm out, but she ain’t having none of that! She jumps over him and he tries to hit her with a Triangle Choke like he’s some MMA fighter, but she dodges it like a pro. Lucas is on the ground and Marilyn is pulling him up by his arm, getting him back on his feet. She sends him flying into the corner and doesn’t waste a second following him up…. A CORNER CLOTHESLINE ON LUCAS JOHNSON! That’s how you do it, baby!
Gavin Kirkland: Marilyn rolls out of the corner and down to the middle of the ring once again. She returns to her feet and looks to charge back at him, but Lucas catches her with a kick right into her feet, sending her back into the ring. Lucas turns back around, hops on the rope, and Lucas tries to pull off a Moonsault, but MARILYN THROWS HIM A CURVEBALL WITH A ROUNDHOUSE KICK THAT CATCHES HIM OFF GUARD WHILE HE’S UP IN THE AIR!
Eve: Marilyn is coming faster and it shows how fast kids can go these days, in terms of ability, agility, and even growth. Marilyn isn’t going for a pin right there and now starts picking Lucas off the ground with Lucas barely throwing a fist at her, but Marilyn replies right away with a sharp right knee right into his gut while holding up his head, putting a stop to Lucas Johnson. Now she completely picks him off the ground and back to his feet, looking to drop him to the ground with a Northern Lights Suplex!
Deadprez: Lucas Johnson is still the fast one before repeating a back elbow to the side of her head as she tries to take him down with a suplex in the middle of the ring with the crowd watching to anticipate if she will be able to hit this while she’s at it. Marilyn begins releasing him, and now Lucas starts hammering her back with both fists, trying to slow her down and make sure that she’s not going anywhere far away from him soon.
Gavin Kirkland: Our lady, Marilyn, is now down to her knees, and then Lucas starts stepping back to the ropes, bouncing off with a big clothesline and cutting her head off!…. but Marilyn ducks underneath, catching his arm in a side headlock position before DRILLING LUCAS’ HEAD TO THE GROUND WITH A RUNNING BULLDOG!
Eve: Lucas is dropped and she attempts for a pin, but Lucas kicks out right before the referee can even start counting. This shows that Lucas is still very strong after all those moves he took so far and shows that he has a lot of experience coming into this match to face Marilyn here. Marilyn snatches him by his head and quickly brings him to the ground with a headlock takedown and starts taking control from there. Lucas kicks both legs in the air, but that doesn’t really help. Now he has to struggle to get out of there anytime soon or sooner.
Deadprez: So far, Marilyn has been dominating Lucas in this match and proves to everybody who is the better Johnson coming to this match. I mean, we already have another Johnson in the mix at Dynasty, and with any luck, she’ll be another feather in the cap of this match, truly making her mark on Showdown. Marilyn makes it much more difficult for Lucas by applying more pressure, but it seems like Lucas is not going to take that any longer before returning to his feet. With her still locking him up, he starts delivering a right hand to her gut to make her release him once again!
Gavin Kirkland: Lucas delivers a quick stomp to Marilyn’s right foot, causing her to drop to both knees. He then runs in and takes her down swiftly with a Shinning Wizard, bringing her to the ground with those knees! As Marilyn rolls on the ground in pain, holding her face, Lucas crawls up to his feet and runs towards the corner. He reaches the top of the corner, balancing himself with ease…. A DIVING MOONSAULT ON MARILYN! LUCAS HOOKS HER LEG AND GOES FOR A COVER!

Eve: Lucas Johnson was within a hair’s breadth of victory, but Marilyn kicked out just in the nick of time, and now Lucas immediately goes behind and puts her down with a Coquina Clutch! A variation of a sleeper hold is now locking her up, and it seems like Lucas couldn’t put her down like that, so he’s going to make her fade instead!
Deadprez: Marilyn is in trouble at the moment with the referee kneeling beside both competitors and trying to check if she still has it. Marilyn shakes her head and signals that she’s not going anywhere. Meanwhile, Lucas starts wrapping his legs around her waist and locks her up completely with a Coquina Clutch! It doesn’t look good for the newcomer, and Lucas might pick up a win anytime soon!
Gavin Kirkland: Aw, come on, guys! Why would she lose to the likes of Lucas Johnson? This man has been losing for centuries, and there is no way in hell she would let anything like that happen!
Eve: Let’s not get too harsh with Lucas here because he is a former New Breed Champion and Young Lion Cup winner. He doesn’t deserve that kind of disrespect just because he has lost quite a lot of times. Lucas keeps her locked up tightly right there, and Marilyn isn’t going anywhere soon or soon away from Lucas Johnson! She’s in deep serious trouble here and potentially could pass out if she doesn’t get out of there
Deadprez: Lucas is quite more professional than Marilyn coming into this match, but I actually respect these two as athletes out here. Both of them are good wrestlers in common, so I’m not going to pretend like who is better than who here, just saying when it comes to experience. Now Lucas picks up what is left and starts putting more pressure into the submission hold while Marilyn starts getting choked out of this match!
Gavin Kirkland: It’s not that close before Marilyn barely gets her right foot upon the bottom rope and escapes the pain that Lucas Johnson trying to put on her! Lucas immediately releases her before the referee is going to separate both of them away, then picks her off the ground, seizing her in and quickly bringing her down to the ground with a Neckbreaker!
Eve: Marilyn is getting handled by Lucas here, and nothing seems to be looking really good for her at all but looking real good for Lucas to make a move in this match. Lucas starts hammering the back of her head with a right forearm to compel her to stay down on the ground and not try to let her lift up her potential in winning against him here. Lucas seizes Marilyn again, turning her around before clobbering her hard and sending her right back down to the ground with a hard right hook across her jaw! Lucas pushes Marilyn against the ground and now going for a cover!

Gavin Kirkland: Marilyn is getting her shoulder off the ground! Lucas quickly grabs her arm and starts stretching it, but Marilyn is struggling to get out of that position. She raises her hand forward, trying to find a way out, but things aren’t going to be easy for her as Lucas releases her and connects with a kick to her spine!
Eve: Lucas wants to make sure that he can handle the game and get himself a win here. He grabs Marilyn by the neck again and starts using his arm to wrap around it, trying to choke her out once again, but Marilyn is resisting the move!
Deadprez: As I said before, Lucas is a professional wrestler and he’s here to teach Marilyn how to be one of them, but Marilyn doesn’t seem to be underestimated around here either. She quickly goes towards the rope, grabs the top one, and as Lucas rolls backward away from her back to his feet, she turns around and takes him down with a running forearm smash! Lucas returns to his feet immediately and goes for a clothesline, but Marilyn ducks under, turns back around, and connects with a Step-Up Enzuigiri!
Eve: Lucas misses the mark and now he turns back around for Marilyn. She pops back to her feet quickly, goes behind Lucas, and applies a sleeper hold, trying to make Lucas pass out. But Lucas quickly drops himself to the ground, rolls back to the side of Marilyn’s leg, and tries to take Marilyn down by her leg. However, she quickly uses her free leg and delivers a stomp right onto the face of Lucas Johnson! Lucas releases her and now tries to scramble back to his feet with Marilyn coming towards him, BUT LUCAS QUICKLY JUMPS AND ‘BLUEPRINT’ CUTTER DRIVES MARILYN TO THE GROUND RIGHT AWAY!
Gavin Kirkland: Marilyn is down and now Lucas is going for a cover, but she rolls away from him right before he can even get his hand on her. Lucas tracks her down to where she rolls as she gets underneath the bottom rope. Lucas Johnson tries to pick her back to her feet, but the referee stops him in his tracks and tries to keep him away from her, just a bit before he could get a disqualification right there!
Deadprez: Marilyn starts recovering back to her feet and trying to regain her footing, then slowly gets back inside the ring. Lucas immediately walks in and picks her off the ground, looking for another ‘Blueprint,’ but Marilyn quickly snatches Lucas and delivers a ‘Kiss of Misfortune’ STO Backbreaker, taking Lucas down right away before the former New Breed champion could even start doing anything else!
Eve: Lucas is down, and Marilyn isn’t going for a cover right away. Marilyn picks Lucas off the ground and starts jumping over him into ‘Love’s Deadly Grip,’ locking him up! Octopus Stretch applies, and now Lucas is not going anywhere! There is a high chance for Marilyn to pick up a win right here if she could pull this one out on Lucas Johnson!
Gavin Kirkland: Lucas shakes his head and tries to resist the move, even though he knows he’s not going to go anywhere far away from her! Lucas tries to reach the rope in front of his eyes, but nothing seems to be working for him at all! Marilyn gets him locked up tightly, and this could be it for Lucas if he’s going to tap out right here!
Deadprez: Lucas is still not going to give up at all and keeps trying to reach the ropes that are in front of him, no matter how hard Marilyn tries here!…. LUCAS TAPS OUT! IT’S OVER! MARILYN JOHNSON PICKS UP A WIN OVER ANOTHER JOHNSON! SHE WINS THE MATCH!

Gina Romano: HERE IS YOUR WINNER!…. MARILYN JOHNSON!
Gavin Kirkland: Another Johnson has triumphed over another Johnson! I had already informed all of you that she would emerge victorious in this match because she is also the future MILKY MOMMY of this business!
Eve: First of all, no. Second of all, when did you tell us that, exactly?
Gavin Kirkland: Uh. Now.
( ‘Heads Will Roll’ by Yeah Yeah Yeah as Marilyn rises to her feet and starts celebrating her victory in happiness. The final shot displays Marilyn goes up to the middle rope and celebrates her debut match win as the scene fades into a commercial break. )
(Returning from a brief commercial break, cameras are situated backstage here in the Bermuda National Sports Centre as this edition of Saturday Night Showdown rolls forward! There’s a buzz and excitement in the crowd for tonight’s show and this excitement amplifies as Kyra Phillips walks into the shot! Professional and punctual as ever, Kyra stands with a smile on her face dressed in a beautiful sunflower yellow gown. She waits for the buzz to die down and the crowd to simmer before raising the microphone in front of her lips, addressing the Bermuda faithful. )
Kyra Phillips: Ladies and gentlemen, join me in welcoming at this time… Your Unified Tag Team Champions… The team of Harper Lee and Holly Arrow— POTARA!
( The Bermuda National Sports Centre doesn’t have a roof, but if it did? It would’ve come unglued from the reaction which the brand new Unified Tag Team Champions received here tonight! POTARA walk into the shot with those aforementioned titles situated on their shoulders. No match for either woman tonight, so they’re instead dressed in smart casual attire. What’s clear is that the good times and vibes haven’t diminished from their huge win at Grand Rampage as both women are in great moods! Again, after the crowd has simmered, Kyra Phillips turns towards them and poses her first question. )
Kyra Phillips: Thank you for giving me, as well as these people who are clearly excited to see you, your time tonight ladies! This first question is probably a redundant one, but I’ll ask it anyway. How are the two of you feeling after your victory at Grand Rampage?
Holly Arrow: We’re very happy to be here for tonight’s show, Kyra. The two of us have been on quite the journey for a while now. Going from facing one-another at Road to Redemption to now be standing alongside Harper holding these Unified Tag Team Championships… It means a lot.
Holly Arrow: It’s an amazing feeling to have finally accomplished one of my biggest dreams here in this promotion. I feel like I’ve had some big setbacks of late— setbacks that’d floor other competitors in this business permanently. But I was able to keep swinging, getting up time-and-time again and at Grand Rampage? It made all of my efforts worth it.
Holly Arrow: We’re so, so strong as a team. There’s a lot of work that goes on behind the camera that these wonderful fans don’t see. So I’m happy we were able to showcase what we can do when given a big platform. Obviously, I made it to the finals of the Empress of Elite tournament earlier this season— and I wasn’t able to win on that occasion. But this journey that I have been on with Harper… I dare say it eclipses anything I’ve done in my career so far. It’s been wonderful. POTARA is going to be here for a long, long time.
( The Bermuda faithful cheer Holly’s answer. It’s clear she’s authentic with her words and that winning at Grand Rampage meant a lot to her. Her partner, Harper Lee, has won championships and accolades aplenty, as had both the defending champions of Soul Food Sunday. But for Holly it could be argued that it was the biggest moment of her career. An effusive smile sits on her lips as Kyra moves the microphone over to the other half of POTARA, Harper Lee, who is also cheered and soon begins to respond to Kyra’s question. )
Harper Lee: I think it’s fair to say that the road Holly and I took to winning these championships was a complicated one. As Holly said, it wasn’t long ago that the two of us were at one another’s throats. I started out this season very well— I cashed in my Iconic Cup and captured the Universal Women’s Championship. Since losing to Sienna Jade, however, I had been on a bit of a downward spiral. Losing at Road to Redemption, then again at King of Elite, it was really difficult to bounce back and it felt like I was powerless to stop my downfall.
Harper Lee: But coming to the tag team division and becoming friends with Holly, it’s been an amazing feeling. We work so well together and this didn’t feel forced at all. I know it’s a bit of a running joke these days, people teaming up, winning the belts and then turning on each other the moment they lose them. But I don’t foresee that happening with POTARA.
Harper Lee: Overcoming Soul Food Sunday and winning these championships, it proves a lot as far as I’m concerned. It proves that POTARA can get it done against the best that this promotion has to offer. It shows we’re credible and we’re here for the long haul. When it comes to teams like Soul Food Sunday, even going further back to names like The Prescription— we want to extend our gratitude. Tag team wrestling is in an awesome place, and they’ve helped lay the groundwork for what Holly and I are going to achieve.
Kyra Phillips: Touching on that last part, where you spoke about what POTARA are going to achieve, what can we expect from the two of you looking towards the future?
Holly Arrow: That’s a good question, Kyra. I think the obvious answer is that we’re both thinking about Pain for Pride. It’s the biggest event in the world— period. For us wrestlers, we go to bed and dream of fighting at Pain for Pride. Winning these championships means we have a great chance of being on the show. But there’s a lot to do before then, and we know that when it comes to winning titles, challengers usually aren’t far behind.
Holly Arrow: As Harper said, when you look back at the start of the season, the division was barren and there wasn’t a lot of competition. But now there’s so many teams that I can think of that’d make good opponents for POTARA. So it’s an exciting time, definitely. But when we captured these championships at Grand Rampage, we knew what’d happen after. We know there’s going to be some big, big fights coming up and we’re prepared. If we didn’t show how good we are against The Visual Prophet and SOSA Henderson, then we’ll show it soon enough.
Harper Lee: POTARA is going to continue the work of the tag teams before us and continue building tag team wrestling here in Elite Answers Wrestling; that’s a promise. Soul Food Sunday were great champions and had a good reign, we’re thankful for them. But as Holly said, we’re focused on the future. We have our eyes forward and we’re really a little over a month away from Pain for Pride, now. So it’s impossible not to be thinking about that. We welcome any-and-all challengers. Anybody who wants to come for our championships can have that shot because we’re here to prove why we’re the best, and we’re here to prove why POTARA will continue to be a dominant force in this tag team division.
( Kyra Phillips thanks Harper and Holly for their time— but the segment doesn’t end here. POTARA walks off and the camera follows. They speak about their win at Grand Rampage, as well as what’s in store for them in the future. There’s even a mention of #POTARASWEEP merchandise being some of the highest-grossing in the promotion’s season! It’s evident that their connection is genuine. They’re walking in the backstage corridors but come to an abrupt stop as the camera slowly pans… It’s DOMINION! Ryan Joseph Wilson and Xander Payne’s appearance earns quite the mixed reaction from the crowd. The two teams stare off… Before DOMINION extend their hands for a handshake! )
Ryan Joseph Wilson: Congratulations on the big win, you guys. It was really awesome seeing Soul Food Sunday finally dethroned. The two of you deserve it, it was a great performance and Xander and I know you’ll do great things with those titles in the months to come.
Holly Arrow: That’s so kind of you guys, and hey. When the two of you faced Soul Food Sunday you had every chance of winning that match. Harper and I took a lot of what you did against them and put it into our own arsenal. The two of you were on the right track for sure and I know that Pain for Pride will be amazing for DOMINION.
Xander Payne: DOMINION was close to getting it done. We felt like we threw everything we had at them out there back at Operation Doomsday in Chicago. Maybe luck wasn’t on our side. We’re just glad that tag team wrestling is thriving, even if wrestling itself hasn’t been the kindest to Ryan and I as of late. But you guys deserve all this, a million percent.
Harper Lee: Who knows, at Pain for Pride us four could be facing off with these Unified Tag Team Championships on the line. Representing Showdown and putting on an absolute clinic!
( Silence falls around the foursome after Harper’s comments. The smile fades from her face as she contemplates what she said wrong. DOMINION goes from staring at Harper to the championship placed on her shoulder. Some time passes, and then Ryan speaks up. )
Ryan Joseph Wilson: Yeah, perhaps it could be, Harper.
Xander Payne: We’ll be seeing you guys soon.
( DOMINION walks off and out of the camera’s shot, leaving POTARA a touch confused. Harper looks at Holly, gesturing if she did anything wrong. Holly shakes her head, it’s all good vibes and friendly competition as far as she’s concerned. POTARA then leaves in the opposite direction, perhaps a little clearer on how their Pain for Pride will look. It seems that Ryan and Xander’s interests in the Unified Tag Team Championships could remain, and it’s possible that when Pain for Pride season rolls around, that’s a match we could be seeing! But there’s a long, twisting road between then and now. The camera cuts elsewhere as we advance to the next segment of tonight’s edition of Saturday Night Showdown at ringside with Gina Romano! )

Deadprez: Here comes a woman with a chip on her shoulder, I wouldn’t want to get in her way right now she looks like she could pulverize someone with a single glare.
Gavin Kirkland: Clearly unhappy with her last match, which she lost, Nyx is looking to get past it and score an upset tonight!
Eve: She looks like she is looking to want and take her frustration out on someone and Lexi may very well be on the receiving end!
( “Mr. Brightside” by The Killers plays over the speakers of the place while the rebellious one makes her way to the ring with a look of confidence though not happy. )
Gina Romano: AAAAAAAND HER OPPONENT!! From Detroit, Michigan! Weighing in at 117 pounds. She is The Motor City Machine Gun: LEXIIIIIII!!!
Deadprez: A strong performance we got from Lexi during Grand Rampage last week! Surely she will be looking to gather momentum from it and build up from there.
Gavin Kirkland: I agree with this one, and Lexi now has an opportunity to get some wind in her sail as she is about to face one of our General Manager’s latest acquisitions.
Eve: Lexi’s experience, speed, and agility against Nyx’s eagerness, drive, and potential. This will be an interesting match folks!
( Ding! Ding! Ding! )
Deadprez: AND HERE WE GO! This match is officially underway! Both warrior ladies are in their respective corners, Nyx looks angry while Lexi’s rather cool and collected. The official orders them to engage and Lexi parts ways with her corner first.
Gavin Kirkland: Nyx rolls her shoulders and begins to circle around the ring staring at Lexi before going directly for her and engaging in a clinch that Lexi quickly turns into a headlock, followed by a wristlock from the back of her opponent who grunts. ELBOW to the face of Lexi frees Nyx who smirks.
Eve: Lexi grabs her jaw as she goes to meet Nyx face to face and both girls are exchanging niceties UNTIL NYX PUTS A HAND TO LEXI’S FACE AND SHOVES HER AWAY! This angers Lexi WHO BEGINS TO UNLOAD HARD ELBOW SHOTS TO NYX! BLOW AFTER BLOW AFTER BLOW LIKE A MACHINE GUN UNTIL NYX SHOVES HER TOWARDS THE ROPES TO PART WAYS WITH HER!
Deadprez: Lexi charges at Nyx moving under an attempt at a clothesline from her opponent! Bouncing into the ropes she tries a kasedora but Nyx grabs at her waist preventing Lexi from taking her down with a Japanese arm drag.
Gavin Kirkland: Nyx moves to a corner and Lexi gives chase, looking for a clothesline she gets flipped over the top rope but she lands on the apron to the outside of the ring. SHE BLASTS NYX WITH AN ELBOW TO THE FACE PUSHING HER TO THE CENTER OF THE RING.
Eve: Lexi tries to go topside she’s thinking high risk BUT NYX RUSHES TO HER AND TRIPS HER WITH A HAND MAKING HER FALL INSIDE THE RING!
Deadprez: Nyx pushes Lexi against the corner she fell from and begins to stomp at her hard using the ropes as leverage to strike harder. The official watches on for a moment before ordering Nyx to stop though she doesn’t listen long enough for the official to start counting her out. She stops after four.
Gavin Kirkland: Lexi breathes while holding her neck as she moves away from the corner and Nyx watches on with disdain. She throws a knee to the but of Lexi as she held on to the ropes. She whips Lexi so she bounces her way back to Nyx who DROPS HER WITH A DROPKICK!
Eve: But Lexi is getting back up fairly quickly, she gets struck by Nyx’s elbow BUT LEXI STRIKES RIGHT BACK AND THE TWO ARE BRAWLING IT OUT! That is until Nyx throws a thumb to the eye of Lexi stopping her cold in her tracks! The official sermons her but Nyx clearly doesn’t care!
Deadprez: Spinning heel kick to Lexi who drops to the floor, followed by a leg drop almost over Lexi’s neck as Nyx is attempting to take control of this match! She whips Lexi to the ropes, she ducks Nyx’s attempt at a clothesline, and goes to the ropes again! Slides between Nyx’s legs before tripping her on the floor and begins to pummel her!
Gavin Kirkland: Nyx turns things around pummeling back and the two are brawling it out, folks! LEXI MOVES INTO A ROLL-UP!!

Eve: Both girls separate and moves to their feel BUT NYX THROWS A STIFF KICK TO THE SIDE OF LEXI’S HEAD AND SHE’S REELING!!
Deadprez: Nyx hasn’t been in a good mood as of late and it is showing off in her behavior inside the ring, throwing a double ax handle to the back of Lexi who drops to her knees and moves towards the ropes but Nyx grabs her by the hair before whipping him into the opposite ropes.
Gavin Kirkland: Kick to the midsection stops Lexi BEFORE GETTING SETUP FOR A SAITO SUPLEX! Perfectly executed by the Honoured One! Lexi to the ground as Nyx sets herself up behind the Detroit native AND DEADLIFTS HER OPPONENT INTO A GERMAN SUPLEX!
Eve: Lexi holds the back of her neck now, Nyx seems to be going on a roll and she looks down on Lexi with disdain. Going to the ropes, Nyx runs AND DRILLS LEXI’S FACE TO THE MAT WITH A RUNNING BULLDOG!! She quickly follows up with an elbow drop to Lexi’s spine! She forces Lexi to her feet now AND PUTS DAMAGE TO HER BACK WITH A VERTEBREAKER!! COVER BY NYX!!

Eve: Lexi with the shoulder up!
Nyx: Oh I ain’t done with you, bitch!
Deadprez: Expletives used by Nyx as she forces Lexi to her feet and whips her into the ropes. Nyx herself with a cartwheel CONVERTED INTO A HURRICANRANA! She then quickly goes to the ropes again and rolls, THUNDER SPLASH WITH ON LEXI!!!
Gavin Kirkland: Nyx looks to be in a mood to put some pain in someone today and Lexi is on the receiving end. A few elbows to the face keeps Lexi docile as she is brought back to her feet and sent into the ropes. Lexi bounces her way back towards Nyx WHO TAKES HER WITH WITH A LOU THESZ PRESS!!! FISTS OF FURY DRIVEN DOWN ON LEXI WHILE NYX IS YELLING AND FOUL MOUTHING HER!
Eve: Nyx gets Lexi up by the hair yanking her harshly AND SENDS HER TUMBLING OUTSIDE OF THE RING AS IF SHE THREW A BAG OF TRASH! The crowd boos this manoeuver and their reaction is even louder when she prances around.
Nyx: I’m The Honoured One! No One Is More Enlighten!!
Deadprez: Choiced words from the newcomer as she rolls outside of the ring, the official orders the action to return between the ropes but Nyx isn’t listening as she stands behind Lexi who is painfully trying to get up. Nyx shakes her head in disapproval BEFORE DRIVING A KNEE TO HER SPINE!!!
Gavin Kirkland: Lexi is to her knees now as she holds onto her back in pain but Nyx is moving her upward, SENDING HER AGAINST THE BARRICADES!! AND THEN BEGINS TO CHOKE HER WITH A BOOT!! THE OFFICIAL IS BEGINNING TO COUNT!! Best be careful on Nyx’s part as she’ll be counted out.
Eve: She picks Lexi up looking to send her against a post BUT LEXI COUNTERS AND NYX ENDS UP KISSING THE CORNER!!! SHE LOOKS STUNNED AND LEXI IS TRYING TO MOUNT A COMEBACK! Right hands from Lexi followed by a few elbows before she WHIPS NYX AGAINST THE APRON THEN CLOTHESLINES HER INSIDE THE RING!
Deadprez: The Detroit native follows suit shortly after trying to gain momentum as Nyx is moving to her feet. Lexi goes to the ropes going for a cr-NO!! NYX JUST COUNTERED WITH A SPINEBUSTEEEEERRR!! Just like that, Nyx gains control of the match once again.
Gavin Kirkland: And with arrogance look at her putting a boot atop Lexi for a pinfall! BUT LEXI GRABS AT HER LEG TRYING TO BRING HER DOWN BY TWISTING HER ANKLE IN AN ATTEMPT TO LOCK IT IN!!! BUT LEXI IS MOVING TO HER FEET BUT NYX THROWS IN A SPINNING HEEL KICK THAT DROPS LEXI LIKE A ROCK ON THE GROUND!
Eve: Nyx seems to get angry to have been almost in trouble from that action as she curses at Lexi and sets her up for a neck breaker with clear intent to put some pain on her opponent! She kicks down at Lexi a few times before preparing her next move: PROTOPLEX on Lexi! Flawless execution as then Nyx goes to a corner and stomps at the floor. Are we going for a superkick? She goes for it BUT LEXI THROWS HER OWN AT NYX!! FRICK-OUTTA-HERE BUT NYX EVADES AND TRANSFORMS THE MOVE INTO AN EXPLODER SUPLEX INTO A CORNER!!
Deadprez: What propulsion from Nyx who then quickly goes topside AND SPINS INTO A 450 SPLASH THAT LANDS ON LEXI!! COVER!!

Gavin Kirkland: Lexi hops to the opposite corner of the ring, staring at her opponent as she charges forward going for A CANN-No Nyx rolls outside of the ring under the jeers of the capacity crowd here at Bermuda National Sports Center!
Eve: Nyx is trying to create separation between herself and Lexi after the tide of the match turned to her opponent’s favor the Enlighten one doesn’t care about what the crowd thinks of her decision to try and recover AND LEXI DOESN’T CARE ABOUT NYX’S ATTEMPT AT RECOVERY AS SHE LANDS ATOP OF HER WITH A SUICIDE DIVE!!!!
Deadprez: Lexi is quickly throwing fists at Nyx who is unable to block most of them, but Lexi isn’t done as she moves to a standing position AND SWING HER WITH A QUICK SNAP SUPLEX! But she doesn’t let go of Nyx she goes for a second one AND THEN A THIRD!!
Gavin Kirkland: Lexi looking to score a point against Nyx telling her she won’t get roughed around by some self-entitled rookie. Like her or not, Lexi has some years of experience in her now and she is letting Nyx know that she won’t take flak from anyone!
Deadprez: Lexi moves to the apron after having kicked Nyx a few times and waits for her to get to her feet. The official meanwhile orders the action to resume inside the ring BUT LEXI OPTS DIFFERENTLY AND GOES FOR A HURRICANRANA FROM THE APRON!!!! DOWN GOES NYX WHILE THE CROWD CHEERS FOR A PUMPED-UP LEXI!!!
Gavin Kirkland: Lexi doesn’t appear to be done as she moves Nyx to her feet AND SCOOP SLAMS HER ON THE APRON! She takes a few steps back and charges in DROPKICKING NYX INSIDE THE RING AND LEXI LAYS ON HER SIDE ON THE APRON!
Eve: Nyx rolls further inside the ring in pain as Lexi moves to the ropes she bounces and passes by Nyx to the left, bouncing and passes her fast to the right Nyx seems confused as she turns AND GETS TACKLED DOWN WITH THE LOU THESZ PRESS FROM LEXI!!! RIGHT RIGHT! RIGHT HAND!! RIGHT HAVE FROM THE DETROIT NATIVE WHO THEN GETS UP! GOES TO THE ROPES AND DROPS AN ELBOW DOWN ON NYX’S CHEST FOLLOWED BY SOME TRASH-TALKING WHILE THE CROWD CHEERS THE ACTION!!
Deadprez: Nyx is quickly forced into a corner by Lexi who whips her there. Lexi rushes her way AND DIVES INTO A CROSSBODY! She quickly goes to the opposite corner before dashing forward BUT NYX FLIPS HER OVER THE TOP ROPE! But she doesn’t see Lexi hop on the top turnbuckle as she moves away from the corner. She turns AND GETS PANCAKED WITH A FLYING CROSSBODY!!! COVER BY LEXI!!

Deadprez: AND NYX LIFTS THE SHOULDER UP!!!!
Gavin Kirkland: Lexi is on her way to a win if she continues with how she is handling the business against Nyx who had a strong start earlier in the fight. Lexi moves to her feet and whips Nyx to the corner, bashing her head against the top turnbuckle before hopping on the top corner forcing Nyx to look her way BEFORE PERFORMING A SUNSET FLIP POWERBOMB!!!
Eve: Lexi quickly turns Nix to her stomach as she gets up but then dives to her side AND APPLIES A CROSSFACE!!! NYX’S EYES ARE WIDE OPEN AND SHE TRIES TO SCREAM BUT IT’S MUFFLED BY THE HANDS THAT ARE PULLING HER HEAD BACK!! LEXI HAS THE CROSSFACE IN TIGHTLY AND SHE’S PULLING HARD BUT HER OPPONENT IS ABLE TO FIND HER WAY TO THE ROPES!!
Deadprez: Lexi lets go of her opponent though it’s obvious she doesn’t want to. She waits to see Nyx get back to her feet, stalking her from behind waiting for her time to strike AND SHE DOES SO WITH A BACKSTABBER!!
Gavin Kirkland: Down goes Nyx and Lexi senses an opportunity! She goes to a corner and stomps her foot, she’s calling for the Lights Out her own version of the superkick! If She nails it on Nyx this will mean trouble for the Honoured one who’s slowly getting to her feet. Lexi charges forward!
Eve: A STRAIGHT-UP CLOSED FIST PUNCH STOPS LEXI DEAD IN HER TRACKS! AND THE HOLY GHOST FOLLOWS SOON AFTER BY NYX!!! THE RIPCORD KNEE CONNECTS AND LEXI’S REELING!! NYX GOES FOR THE INERTIA BICYCLE KICK BUT LEXI DUCKS IT AT THE LAST SECOND AND PERFORMS A DDT TO NYX!!! DOWN SHE GOES!! Lexi has an opportunity right now and, what is she doing?
Deadprez: She’s thinking high risk but she just took a knee to the head, she’s going for the Heart Stopper! The elevated moonsault from the top rope! SHE FLIES! BUT CRASHES AS NYX MOVES OUT OF THE WAY!!!! AND THE SCORES THE INERTIA!!! THE BICYCLE KICK CONNECTS!!!!
Gavin Kirkland: Lexi is on her back following the bicycle kick Nyx calls the Inertia that took down Lexi! Nyx rushes to a corner and she’s hanging to the ropes she looks ready as she psyches herself for Nirvana! The patented spear of hers and she’s aching to deliver it to Lexi who’s slowly getting back to her feet.
Eve: Lexi has her back turned to Nyx who’s almost foaming at the mouth! If she lands this move it’s pretty much over for Lexi who slowly turns around! Nyx charges like a mad bull!!
Deadprez: AND GETS SUPERKICK TO THE FACE BY LEXI!!!!! DESPERATION MOVE FROM LEXI WHO EXECUTES THE LIGHT’S OUT SUPERKICK!!! NYX DROPS LIKE A RAGDOLL TO THE FLOOR AND LEXI GOES TO GRAB HER UP! FLIPS HER INTO THE FRICK OUTTA HERE!!! THE STANDING SHIRANUI SENDS NYX CRASHING HARD!!!

Gavin Kirkland: What a victory by Lexi who looked to be in trouble earlier on in the match when Nyx was not just dominating but looking to hurt her!
Deadprez: Nyx was in a foul mood going into this match, for sure now that she lost once again she will not be feeling any better. She went hard on Lexi but the rebellious one showed us her passion, skills, and drive to succeed tonight despite good opposition from her rival. Nyx will get over this I’m sure. But tonight the celebration is on Lexi’s side. Congratulations!
( The final shot is of Lexi who makes her way up the ramp towards the backstage area looking proud and happy to have scored a victory, she raises an arm in the air under the cheers of the crowd while, inside the ring, Nyx looks frustrated with herself. )
(The camera cuts to the backstage area, where Mikaela Street is standing by with microphone in hand.)
Mikaela Street: Good evening, and welcome to my latest update coming off the back of what was an historic Grand Rampage. In particular the ramification of the shocking conclusion to the match between Ms. Extreme and Dominion against Devolution. After a brutal back and forth, we witnessed horrifying scenes as first Kennedy accidently hit Ms. Extreme with her car, and then Pandora Paisley hit a CATastrophe on the concrete. Obviously, there were a lot of concerns for Ms. Extreme and the future going forwards.
(Mikaela looks genuinely concerned by what happened and couldn’t believe for one second that Kennedy had meant to run Ms. Extreme over.)
Mikaela Street: I have since learned that Ms. Extreme was in the hospital for a few days, as doctors assessed her and tended to her many injuries. It is reported that there are internal injuries that will take time to heal, and that she will not be able to compete for a long time. Needless to say, the EAW family wishes her well and…
(Mikaela’s eyes widen, and she seems to be looking off camera. She seems speechless, and unable to comprehend what it is she is seeing. After a few moments, Ms. Extreme limps into shot, obviously banged up and unable to move properly. The fans who at first are shocked to see her, then give her an amazing reaction which draws a glimmer of a smile. She obviously isn’t in the mood however, and immediately takes Mikaela’s camera.)
Ms. Extreme: I hope your proud of yourself Pandora. Seriously, I hope you went to sleep Saturday night happy with a job well done. I have to admit, I underestimated you. I underestimated just how far you were willing to go for that bitch Kennedy Street. But I don’t underestimate you now, you are ALL that I am thinking of. So yeah, hope you DID sleep well, I’m happy for you. But I’m telling you right now, you did NOT get the job done. I’m still here Pandora. I’m still alive. But the same will not be said about you once I’ve done with you Fighting Spirit.
(Mikaela steps in, the interviewer in her, taking away her fear for what was a dangerous situation.)
Mikaela Street: Sorry to interrupt, but are you challenging Pandora Paisley to a match in just a few weeks’ time? I mean Camille, in the nicest possible way, you are a mess and for sure not cleared.
Ms. Extreme: Yeah, a car driven by a raving lunatic can do that for you? Nice family you’ve got there by the way Mikaela.
(Mikaela takes a couple of steps back, thinking better than to continue her questioning.)
Ms. Extreme: Yeah, you got me good Pandora, but I promise you that it won’t happen again. What I did to Kassidy Heart should have warned you off, but it seems you are too stupid to see the many red flags that I have given you. Let me make this clear, not only to you, but to this company that Disney seems intent on flushing down the toilet. I don’t care what my condition is, or what the Doc’s say about my injuries, or my future. I will sign literally ANY waiver that Disney needs me to, to make sure that this match happens. Damn, I will even let you pick the match stipulation Pandora, that is how much I want to get to you. So much that I don’t care what it takes.
(She winces a little, obviously in genuine pain, but she ignores it, her eyes narrow as she glares down the camera lens.)
Ms. Extreme: And when I am done with you Pandora, when you have eaten my boot enough times to satisfy and your jaw is smashed into smithereens, that won’t be the end of it. Your part in this will be over, and you’ll be cast aside, and perhaps, or at least that will be a good news day for you. Because believe me, once we are through, Kennedy is next. And what I do to you won’t even compare to what I do to her. When I am done with that Disney bitch, she will be anything BUT flawless… honey.
(Camille walks off, Mikaela watching her go and the scene then switches to Pandora who is watching on a monitor with Amir Yusef. Pandora cracks into a smile, the smile of someone happy to have got what they wanted, before then walking away, Amir following as it transitions to Kennedy’s office.)
(We cut to the office of Kennedy Street, where her legs are crossed behind her desk, already talking with Jack Ripley.)
Jack Ripley: Look, you told me to show you. I showed you. I did everything you asked of me
Kennedy Street: But you didn’t win Honey. That was what I asked of you
Jack Ripley: No, but…
Kennedy Street: That was the deal though, wasn’t it? And I assure you that if you had won Grand Rampage, you would have been immediately placed in the main event at Pain for Pride. Because Kennie is a woman of her word.
Jack Ripley: I only want the chance to be champion Kennedy.
Kennedy Street: And so, does everyone else in that locker room, they wouldn’t be here if they didn’t. Rules are rules and we all have to play by them, even someone as flawless as myself.
(Jack lowers his head. He had done all he could at Grand Rampage but had ultimately come up short. Kennedy watches him, and perhaps due to the fact the sun was shining outside, she felt a little sorry for him.)
Kennedy Street: Look, you were awesome in Grand Rampage Jack, I doubt anyone was going to stop Kassidy. I’m not even sure I could have stopped her. Oh, what am I talking about, of course I could. I can’t deny that you gave me everything, and that you should be rewarded for your efforts, and as such, let me give it some thought
Jack Ripley: Now you are talking.
(Kennedy turns to Drake Armstrong who is standing by her side, and he seems to give her some inspiration. She clicks her fingers, seemingly having a lightbulb moment.)
Kennedy Street: How’s about this? I give you the chance to get in the Cash in the Vault match at Pain for Pride? After all, that match served Jake Smith very well. He took that opportunity and ran with it, and now look at him.
(Jack nods his head, liking that idea.)
Jack Ripley: Good… a viable opportunity at last. I could do much better with that strap than he ever could. Anyone could do a better job than that clown.
Kennedy Street: Now, don’t waste…
(The door opens, and in walks Roberto De La Rosa with La Familia behind him.)
Kennedy Street: Roberto, Honey, did no one ever teach you to knock?
Roberto De La Rosa: Why knock at a door when you can break it down?
(Kennedy shrugs her shoulders, it was a valid point.)
Jack Ripley: We were talking De La Rosa.
Roberto De La Rosa: Correct, you were talking, and now you’re not.
Kennedy Street: Now boys, let’s not have an escalation. I’d hate to have security take you from the premises, it’s not a good look. What can I do for you Roberto?
Roberto de La Rosa: I was thinking…
Jack Ripley: Be careful.
Roberto De La Rosa: I was thinking that after my performance in the Grand Rampage, maybe I would have proven myself worthy of further opportunity. I think I have shown myself more than capable of holding my own. Since you came to Showdown, I have been a standout, just like you requested
Kennedy Street: You know what Roberto, you are right. You were floundering, and my words of wisdom gave you the push you needed. Someone as wise as I can do that for a person. I know, I know, I’m inspiring. An inspiration for a generation. I’ll tell you what Roberto…
(Kennedy hasn’t even finished her sentence when Alex Myers walks in, pushing to the front and placing their hands on the desk.)
Alex Myers: I’m not done. This season can’t end like it did at Grand Rampage. I want a spot in the Cash in the Vault match at Pain for Pride.
(Kennedy’s eyes widen, Alex taking her aback with their stance. Grand Rampage hadn’t ended the way they had envisaged, and they were adamant they were going to put that right. Kennedy looks more than a little stunned but composes herself quickly.)
Kennedy Street: FINE. Alex, you like everyone else makes a valid claim, so, here’s what we are going to do. The only suitable scenario for you all, whilst in no way benefitting myself and my claims as the top General Manager in EAW. I, like any good leader, have listened to your requests…
Drake Armstrong: Which you most definitely are. A good leader I mean.
Kennedy Street: Kennie knows this honey.
(Jack, Roberto and Alex all now seem more than a little intrigued, eager to know if they are going to get their way. Eager to understand their pathway to the top.)
Kennedy Street: I was very happy with you all at Grand Rampage, so at Fighting Spirit we are going to have a Fatal-Four Way. Yes, I know there are only three of you, but Kennie is already three moves ahead, and I’m throwing Hans Grayson in there for his performances as well. The winner of that match… will be in the Cash in the Vault match at Pain for Pride. Now with all that sorted. Can you all please GET OUT.
(All three of them look happy with the outcome, seeing a huge opportunity to get into a showcase match at Pain for Pride. Alex, Jack and finally La Familia all walk out, leaving just Kennedy and Drake in the office.)
Kennedy Street: And don’t you worry Honey, I’ve not forgotten about you. I have plans for you too.
(Drake smiles, happy that his service to Kennedy is seemingly starting to bear fruit.)
Kennedy: BIG plans Honey.
(With a smile the scene slowly fades to ringside.)
(‘Get Going’ by the Muddy Apes plays through the arena as Komatsu Ogawa comes out with his manager, Yoshiaki Tanaka. He walks down as the people give him mixed reactions. Some are rooting for him against his opponent, and some people still hate him. In a battle of two evils, it is clear who is more loved.)
Gina Romano: THIS MATCH IS SCHEDULED FOR ONE FALL WITH A TWENTY MINUTE TIME LIMIT! INTRODUCING FIRST, FROM TOKYO, JAPAN— THE DRUNKEN HEEL KING, KOMATSU OGAWA!
(‘Position of Power’ by 50 Cent plays as Michael Machina walks out of the entrance titantron, coming out to the crowd giving him their full hate. It is clear they don’t like him that much, and he doesn’t mind. He flexes his muscles before entering the ring, staring Ogawa down.)
Gina Romano: AND HIS OPPONENT, FROM BROOKLYN NEW YORK, THE MONEYMAKER, MICHAEL MACHINA!
DING! DING! DING!
Eve: And so we begin, the match that everyone has been waiting for! Two big meaty men slapping meat! Machina and Ogawa are sizing each other up, knowing they’re about to give each other quite the beat down! They both step in, tying up for a collar-elbow tie up! Both of them have tied up and they’re looking equal in strength! Machina is trying to push, but Ogawa does not budge. Ogawa does the same, but Michael will also not push! They’re on equal footing, and they both realize it! Ogawa seems to be more skilled, though, as he puts Michael into a swift headlock! Michael is latched on pretty tightly!
Gavin Kirkland: Michael pushes Ogawa, but Ogawa scrambles and grabs Michael’s back! Both Ogawa and Michael are trading holds, as none of them even get five seconds to keep it on! Michael lifts Ogawa up, but he stays close to the ground! Ogawa comes again and he tries his own, but Michael doesn’t budge, sending an elbow into his face! Ogawa pushes him into the ropes, and tries to go for a tackle, but Michael is too strong! Michael tries his own, but Ogawa takes it! There is not a single thing that can make this match in each other’s favour right now!
Deadprez: Ogawa sends a right hook into Michael’s jaw, but he takes it! Michael sends a hook back, taking Ogawa aback, staggering him! Michael just caught Ogawa off guard and he comes again with another shot to the jaw! Ogawa comes back with his own, sending Michael back! Both of them are beginning to respect each other’s power here tonight! Michael nods, and they begin clinching! Nobody is budging, but Ogawa’s technique allows him to take Machina to take him down with an Osoto-Gari! Michael gets back up and he sends a headbutt in his nose!
Eve: Ogawa sends another headbutt back, taking Michael aback! Michael sends an open hand strike, Ogawa follows up! Both of them are trading heavy shots and yet, none of them are knocked out! Each of those shots have strong intent as Michael manages to knock Ogawa back! Ogawa gets into a boxing stance, and Michael does the same! KOMATSU SENDS A JAB! Michael sends another one back, and now they’re starting to box each other up! Michael punches him with a right hook, but Ogawa weaves and tackles him!
Gavin Kirkland: Michael manages to stuff the takedown and he’s controlling it! He holds Ogawa down and he’s trying to mount, but Ogawa pushes the big man off him! Michael stays persistent, however, striking Ogawa with a heavy overhand! Ogawa is backed up against the ropes, and Michael knows he has to outstrike him! Michael rebounds off the ropes and he comes back with a clothesline that sends Ogawa to the outside! Now he celebrates in the middle of the ring and he’s pumping his damn chest! Dude, this man is insane! Michael rolls out of the ring and he throws him inside! He lifts him up with a Fireman’s Carry, and slams him down!
Deadprez: What a show of strength from Michael Machina! Not a lot of people can pick up somebody the size of Ogawa, but he just did that! Machina is putting on quite the performance here, as Ogawa is stunned! Ogawa tries standing up, but Michael runs over him with a big boot! This has become a nightmare for the otherwise more skilled Ogawa, as Michael is showing his natural power! Komatsu has had zero response for anything so far, and Michael is taking full advantage of it here! Ogawa really started to get pushed to his limit, and this has been a one-sided match from the moment Michael started boxing him!
Eve: You have to wonder if Ogawa is starting to regret making that decision. Michael has proven to be a lot heavier of a hitter than he realized, and that’s showing even on someone as tough as Ogawa here. Nothing that Ogawa has done so far has left any impact, as Michael is taking full control of the match here. Michael stands up after getting down to a knee in the first few minutes while we were discussing his odds, and Ogawa is gasping for air! Clearly he’s starting to find it very hard to breathe as Michael decides to go for the cover! He wants to end the match as early as possible and make a statement here tonight!

Gavin Kirkland: NO! GOD NO! Ogawa is not out of the fight yet, as he kicks out at the count of two! Michael knows that it might take more, but he’s visibly shocked! He thought that rampage might have put Ogawa away, but it’ll take a lot more than that to do so. Michael pulls Ogawa up, but Ogawa is starting to fight back as he lands several hard body shots onto Michael’s stomach! He’s taking the brunt of those shots as he stands back slightly, before Ogawa comes in with a roundhouse kick! Michael took that on the jaw, and Ogawa lifts his head up before slamming into his chest with a CHOP! You could’ve heard that across the ring!
Deadprez: You sure could’ve, as Ogawa is really starting to lay it on Michael! Both of these men are looking to make it a slugfest, as Ogawa goes again! CHOP! CHOP! CHOP— NO! Michael backs up and he sends his own! CHOP! CHOP! CHOP! Ogawa retaliates with six more! CHOP! CHOP! CHOP! CHOP! CHOP! CHOP! Those sounded like gunshots going off, and Michael came back with twelve more rapid fire chops to his chest! Both of their chests are red as a tomato, and they follow it up with a headbutt! If y’all wanted a hoss fight, they’re clearly showing that you have got your wish granted! They want to make it a hoss fight, and it seems like this might favour one man over the other! Who, we’ll see.
Eve: Both of these men have shown that they have iron chins, and an iron will. Machina comes in with elbow strikes, and Ogawa comes back with a knife edge chop to the chest again! He’s just spamming those devastating chops as Michael felt that! He reels back his fist, but Ogawa blocks the hook and sends his own into Michael’s face! Komatsu is looking to out wrestle him, knowing that he has much better technique than Michael does! Ogawa pushes him, and he pulls him back in for an Ippon Seon-Nage! The shoulder throw plants Michael as Ogawa goes for an armbar! He has it locked in! Can Michael get out?
Gavin Kirkland: This is where we might start to see Michael’s inexperience with holds and submission grappling come into play. We have never seen him really have to grapple before, as he’s never had to wrestle to that point a day in his life. He’s trying to fight out of it and grab the ropes, but he can’t go for it! Jesus, this is a match that fulfills all of my Japanese man on oily, beefy man fantasies! I love it! Really gets me hyped up here! Michael is trying to find a way out of it, but he can’t! He knows there’s only one way to do it, and can he pull it off is the question here! It’s looking like he could, as he rolls and grips both hands! Can he pick Komatsu up?
Deadprez: Doesn’t seem like he can, as Komatsu is holding on tight! Michael decides to fight out of it again, as he pushes through the pain, lifting him up high in the air as he manages to lift Komatsu up! Komatsu doesn’t know where to go, as Michael runs across the ring and throws Komatsu to the outside, sending him crashing onto the table! Michael knows that he wants to make Komatsu pay, and as he lays there on the French commentary team’s desk, this is starting to become a free for all brawl! Michael gets up top on the rope, and I’m perhaps starting to think those mushrooms I ate earlier were psychedelics.
Eve: Same, Deadprez. Is this big, grown man going to do what I think he’s going to do? Ogawa is in his sights, and will he do it? He beats his chest and it’s looking like he’s going to—
Gavin Kirkland: SWANTON BOMB! WHAT THE HELL? That man is lugging around so much weight and he’s proven himself to be insanely agile as well! WAIT- KOMATSU MANAGED TO ROLL! Komatsu rolled to the side as Michael landed on the ground! Both of them are on the outside, as the referee tries to begin the count! He’s seeing the both of them as he finally begins the count now!

Deadprez: C’mon, get up. Both of you, get the hell up. I need this match to keep going on. It’s a Bleacher Report highlight reel and it’s starting to make me happy. Komatsu is showing signs of life, but so is Michael! Komatsu manages to pull himself up and he’s running towards the ring, but no! Michael trips him up! Michael stands up and tries to run to the ring, and he gets tripped up again! They’re both now fighting on the ground, making this match into a brawl! The referee is starting to consider not holding the count for long, but Ogawa breaks free and he gets inside the ring! Machina follows shortly after! C’mon, man. Why does it have to be so anxiety-inducing?
Eve: That’s the name of the sport, Prezzy. It’s always like this. I get a heart attack whenever I see a Showdown match, perhaps this is why Seph is always crazy most of the time. Maybe I should take advice from her, that could help. Now that they’re both in the ring, their faces are perhaps starting to bruise a little! This may be the match that could shorten years off either one of their careers, and this begs to ask the question— just how far are they really willing to take it here? Ogawa and Machina nod at each other, before they go for it and start swinging! Machina ducks under, lifting him up as he throws him over his head for a Belly to Back Suplex!
Gavin Kirkland: Ogawa lands on his back, but he decides to fight through it as he picks Machina up and turns him around for a German Suplex! It takes Machina out as he’s also stunned! He did not expect Ogawa to be this strong, and neither did I! Both of these dudes are absolute units in their own right, and I’m not kidding! Machina lands on his back as well, but he kips up and they both stare down in the middle of the ring! They have given it everything they could possibly give to each other, and right now, I’m very shocked that neither of them have called it quits just yet! One of them has to give, eventually.
Deadprez: They’re not like your average joe. They’re on Showdown for a reason. Both of these men can fight, and it’s got the crowd biting their nails and on their toes! Ogawa rebounds off the ropes as he tries to flatten Michael, but Michael ducks under, strikes the knee and makes Ogawa kneel! Michael rebounds off the ropes, as Ogawa stands up, and SPEAR! The Bullet from Hell just took Ogawa out as Michael is going for the cover again! Can he win this match? I’m holding out hope that Ogawa could still have some fight left in him!

Eve: NO! Ogawa still kicks out, and Michael is breathing heavily! He’s starting to get gassed, and this maybe where Ogawa will capitalize! He sees this, and he latches on a rear naked choke! He’s fighting for his life here, and Ogawa might win by submission if he can keep this hold on tight! It’s locked in pretty good, and perhaps this could be it! Perhaps this could be the winning move right here! As Ogawa is starting to force air out of Machina’s lungs! Michael stands up and he pushes Ogawa against the turnbuckle and forces him to go down! Ogawa stands up and he rushes again! He’s not letting up as he grabs Michael’s waist and drives his knee against Michael’s back for the Irish Car Bomb!
Gavin Kirkland: If there’s one tone that both these men have been setting, it’s that they’re here to make this a fight and not an easy one for each other! They want to prove that they belong here, and this is going to make their case for that exact matter! Ogawa knows a pin might be the wasted move here, so he’s going for another one! He has the arm wrapped around Machina’s head, but no! Michael pushes him off, pulls the arm and hits him with the CLOTHESLINE FROM HELL! THAT JUST TOOK KOMATSU OUT— NO! Komatsu is somehow, someway, still standing despite all of that! Perhaps that might be for no good, though, as he’s visibly dazed and wondering where he is right now! Michael goes for another spear, and it takes Ogawa out!
Deadprez: He’s stalking Ogawa like a predator here, and he lifts him up in a powerbomb position! .50 CAL! THE .50 CAL HITS! KOMATSU IS OUT COLD AND THE POWERBOMB JUST DID THAT! NOW THE COVER! CAN MICHAEL PUT HIM AWAY?

Gavin Kirkland: What a match. Both of these men gave it their all, but ultimately, only one prevails, and that is Michael Machina. He has been on a tear since coming to EAW, beating the likes of Nyx who was hyped and heralded as a future in the women’s division of Showdown. What a performance from him tonight.
(‘Position of Power’ by 50 Cent hits as the crowd boos him. Michael shows no sign of being affected by it, though, as he walks off the ring and proceeds to head backstage. The camera focuses on him holding up his fingers, showing just how many wins he’s had since coming to EAW. Ogawa rolls out, as he goes through the crowd, disappointed as it cuts into a commercial break.)
(As it fades back from commercial, ‘You know my Name’ by Chris Cornell hits over the speaker system and the whole arena rises to its feet. The noise levels are off the chart, as the fans chant in unison.)
Deadprez: What an ovation, and ovation born from one of the performances at Grand Rampage. Impact was an albatross around Adam’s neck, but Adam removed it and then some by defeating him clean. And these fans are letting him know what they think.
(Adam walks through the curtain, and the noise somehow seems to intensify, Adam grinning at the welcome.)
Eve: One of EAW’s favorite songs right now, he’s really picked up that ball and is running with it.
Gavin Kirkland: You’re under-egging these guys. He beat Impact. THE Impact.
Deadprez: We know, but you ask Adam yourself and he’ll tell you that the job isn’t done.
(He lifts his hands to applaud the crowd, before then making his way down the rampway, giving a few fans high fives as he does. He slides under the bottom rope, and with another grin out towards the fans, he takes a mic, and walks back to the center of the ring. Once there he stands, as a ‘Next Level’ chant picks up pace, Adam shaking his head in disbelief that this is happening. His music fades, and finally so does the noise level, and Adam is able to lift the mic to his lips.)
Adam Lucas: Wow.
(This just gets the fans going again, but Adam carries on regardless.)
Adam Lucas: I don’t have to come out here and say it. Last week in the build up to Grand Rampage exactly what I thought about Karl Impact. He’s a legend, he’s the standard, he has every right to call himself one of the best in the world, and there can be very little argument. But in spite of this, I was the one who had my hand held aloft. I’m sure you all recognize that this meant to me, to finally defeat the one man that had always put me in my place. I’m sure you understand how important it was for me to come around from Grand Rampage with my momentum intact. Impact did everything he said he would. He fought an amazing match, a match that there is no question he could have won.
(The fans boo, not liking that comment even though Adam is only being truthful.)
Deadprez: Seems like these fans don’t believe Adam would have lost that match, and I tend to agree with them.
Eve: Adam’s only being truthful, he’s giving Impact his flowers.
Deadprez: For me, it was Adam’s best performance such far, and showcased what he is truly capable of.
Adam Lucas: In fact, there was only one thing he didn’t do, that he promised just days before. He didn’t win. And I’m not here to tell Karl that I told him so, that’s not my way of dealing with things. No, all I have left to say to Impact is thank you. Thank you for once again giving me the opportunity to prove that I am everything I say I am. To prove that when I win the Answers World Championship, I’ve earned that right. Because I knew what life would have been like if I’d lost to Impact but then become World Champion. I can hear the noise now, people saying that my Championship reign wasn’t relevant because I lost to Impact and couldn’t beat Kassidy clean. Now, I beat Jake Smith at Pain for Pride, and there can be no question that I will have ascended to that next level I’ve spoken about for many months. At Grand Rampage, all the answers to all the questions… I gave them. Still doubt me if you wish, not my problem. NOW, my focus can be turned to Jake Smith, and Pain for Pride, and Jake in two months I promise you…
(On Adam’s face a grin forms, as Jake Smith’s music hits over the PA system, and the man himself steps out onto the stage to a raucous ovation of his own. He looks at the Answers World Championship draped over his shoulder and then towards Adam, before then making his way down the rampway. He pauses at the steps, Adam respectfully backing away so that he can enter the ring. Jake then takes a mic of his own.)
Jake Smith: Congratulations Adam.
(The fans applaud this show of respect right off the bat.)
Adam Lucas: And to you
Jake Smith: It seems like the two of us have proven a fair few people wrong this season huh?
Adam Lucas: Just like we promised.
Jake Smith: That we did. And I’m guessing, you’re feeling pretty confident now, one step away from claiming this as your own?
(He glances towards the World Championship.)
Adam Lucas: You beat Impact, you can beat anyone
Jake Smith: That’s true, but it only tells half the story, doesn’t it?
Adam Lucas: How’s about you fill me in on the rest?
Jake Smith: It would be my pleasure bro. You see, I have no doubt that everyone thought I was going to be a stop-gap champion. You included.
Adam Lucas: Never crossed my mind, Jake.
Jake Smith: Yeah well, you were one in a minority. People thought I’d lose this title in a New York minute, and yet here I am. No one has been able to take this title from me. Not Chris, not Impact, and just last week, Alex couldn’t do it either. He couldn’t do it Adam, one of the brightest young talents on this roster, and you’re not going to be able to do it either. I’m ending this season with the Answers World Championship, and there isn’t a damn thing you can do about it.
Adam Lucas: And as you’d probably expect Jake, I humbly disagree with that logic. See, those people you mention, I’ve beaten them all too. I’ve done it with one thing in mind, proving myself worthy to beat you at Pain for Pride. I’ve never been more ready for anything in my life, all my three years in this company have been for this moment. And I’m sorry Jake, I consider you a friend, but I’m going to end your title reign. Anything else would be a failure.
Jake Smith: And you really think you can do that?
(Adam laughs, a smirk forming on Jake’s face as well.)
Adam Lucas: Let’s face it Jake, I’ve beaten you before. And yeah, you’re damn right I’m going to do it again.
Jake Smith: I look forward to seeing you try.
(Now Donovan Duke’s music hits, and Jake and Adam look at each other, more than a little surprised.)
Eve: It looks like Donovan Duke is coming out to join the party.
Gavin Kirkland: Ain’t no party like a Donovan Duke party. RIP Paul Cattermole.
(Donovan Duke walks through the curtain and doesn’t hesitate, making his way to the ring. He slides under the bottom rope, and fist bumps Adam, before then nodding respectfully towards Jake. Donovan then asks to borrow Adam’s mic, Adam laughing and passing it to him, before leaning back against the ropes.)
Donovan Duke: Sorry to interrupt guys, I’ll buy you both a beer later.
Jake Smith: What’s this about Donovan?
Donovan Duke: I’m glad you asked. See, whilst you were beating Alex, and Adam was toppling Impact, I was putting on quite the performance in Grand Rampage.
Jake Smith: That you did.
Donovan Duke: I don’t want to take away your thunder, or indeed Adams, but I was the longest reigning National Elite Champion of all time, pinning you of all people when you challenged Minerva. I’ve found that you don’t get anywhere unless you call your shot, and I can think of nothing else than facing one of my best friends at Pain for Pride in the Showdown main event.
Jake Smith: So?
Donovan Duke: I want a chance at the title at Fighting Spirit. I want to go one on one with my former Insurgency leader, with EVERYTHING on the line.
Deadprez: What a request by Donovan… he wants the Answers World Championship.
Gavin Kirkland: Listen to this noise, they want it too.
Eve: It would be quite a match… and imagine Donovan versus Adam at Pain for pride. Two beat friends for all the marbles.
Jake Smith: I’ve always admired you Donovan, you’ve always tried to take what you want, and I applaud that. So OK, you can have your shot at Fighting Spirit, but with one condition.
Deadprez: Here we go
Jake Smith: I get to pick the referee.
Donovan Duke: OK, who?
Jake Smith: If we are going to do this, it has to be someone with honor and integrity and who will call it right down the middle.
Gavin Kirkland: He wants me to referee
Eve: Hardly
Jake Smith: And that’s you Adam
(Jake points at Adam Lucas, the fans going wild.)
Jake Smith: That’s right Adam, at Fighting Spirit, you get to make the three count when I pin your friend, whilst also getting a taste of what you have to come at Pain for Pride. Oh, and spoiler alert guys, I end this season as Answers World Champion.
(The crowd goes bananas as Jake flips the mic which hits the canvas with a thud. He rolls out the ring as his music hits, making his way up the rampway without looking back.)
Deadprez: So, at Fighting Spirit, it’s going to Jake Smith versus Donovan Duke, Answers World Championship on the line. And in a huge announcement, Adam Lucas to be the special guest referee.
Eve: Imagine, having to administer the three count, that ends your best friends’ dreams. Ouch.
Deadprez: That is exactly what he may have to do. One thing clear though, Jake Smith has no intention of relinquishing the title without a fight.
(Jake reaches the top of the ramp and turns, holding the Answers World Championship aloft as Donovan and Adam look on. Donovan says something to Adam, Adam nodding his head as the scene cuts to an ad for Fighting Spirit.)
(The camera returns to the ring where Gina Romano is standing in the middle of the ring with a microphone in hand ready to announce the next match.)
Gina Romano: Ladies and gentlemen, this next contest has a TWENTY MINUTE TIME LIMIT and it is scheduled for ONE FALL!
Crowd: ONE FALL
(‘Without You’ by Halsey ft. Juice Wrld starts to play as Ashlynn Quinn enters the arena to loud and resounding boos from the crowd. The negativity only gets louder when the National Elite Champion Veena Adams comes out and stands next to Ashlynn. Now we see that she has her phone out and is filming her and Veena… more than likely for Instagram Live or something… as they head to the ring.)
Gina Romano: Introducing first! Accompanied to the ring by the National Elite Champion, Veena Adams! She is from Los Angeles, California. Weighing in at 115 pounds. Here is “THE BOUJEE PRINCESS” ASHLYNN QUINN!!!
Deadprez: Here comes Ashlynn Quinn making her way to the ring and she is not coming alone. Walking alongside her is the National Elite Champion, Veena Adams. Speaking of Veena, she will be defending her title against Chris Elite coming up soon.
Gavin Kirkland: Who cares about that right now? Right now we have Ashlynn Quinn doing whatever she has to do to be bestowed the honor of being Veena Adams’ tag team partner and a victory here will go a long way in her favor.
Eve: Yeah, but the last time we saw Ashlynn in action, she was getting superkicked in the face…again! Will this match turn the tide in her favor? She can certainly get the job done, but her opponent tonight is no pushover.
(Ashlynn enters the ring, still filming herself for her Instagram Live as she takes her corner and her music fades off. Seconds later, ‘Sweet Emotion’ by Aerosmith starts playing as the crowd cheers loudly for Major Scotty Connor, who has just entered the arena. He gives the crowd a patriotic salute before heading to the ring for competition.)
Gina Romano: Introducing her opponent! He is from London, Ohio! Weighing 210 pounds! Here is MAJOR MICHAEL SCOTT CONNOR! U! S! M! C!
Gavin Kirkland: HE’S HERE!!! MY GUY SCOTTY!!!! Here comes a man who is on his way to a New Breed Championship match sometime in the future whenever Kennedy Street so chooses.
Eve: Scotty had a nice showing in the Grand Rampage match last week and he is looking to build some momentum for when he has his eventual match with Dynasty’s Caroline. But he needs to be careful in this match with Ashlynn.
Deadprez: That’s right. Her… friend? Veena is out here at ringside and there is no doubt that she will eventually get involved in this match for Ashlynn. Will the numbers advantage be too much for Scotty to handle or will The Major send both these ladies back to boot camp? We’re about to find out now.
(Scotty gets on the apron and enters the ring as his entrance music fades off. He shoots a glance at Veena before focusing his attention on Ashlynn. The referee checks both competitors, much to Ashlynn’s disgust, before they call for the bell.)
(DING! DING! DING!)
Deadprez: Here we go and the match is underway! Scotty is looking to lock up with Ashlynn and SHE BACKS UP INTO THE ROPES! What in the world is she doing?
Ashlynn Quinn: (off-mic) HOLD ON! I need to get my stretching in before I wrestle!
Eve: What kind of comment is that? The bell has rung. It’s time to compete Ashlynn. The referee is keeping Scotty at bay. It looks like Ashlynn has finished her stretching exercises and she looks ready to go. It’s about time.
Gavin Kirkland: Alright. They are back in the center of the ring. Scotty goes to lock up once again AND ASHLYN ONCE AGAIN BACKS UP INTO THE ROPES! HEY! Get Scotty back away from Ashlynn. The referee is getting on to Ashlynn.
Ashlynn Quinn: (off-mic) I’M NOT READY! I need to get warmed up first. I don’t want to get injured or anything.
Major Scotty Connor: (off-mic) Warmed up? From what I’ve heard, you did that out in the street. So come on AND LET’S WRESTLE!
Deadprez: Oh dang! That comment got to Ashlynn and she walks right up to Scotty AND SLAPS HIM IN THE FACE! WHAT A SHOT! Nice handprint forming on Scotty’s face BUT ALL IT DID WAS GET HIM MAD!
Gavin Kirkland: Ashlynn better get out of the way BECAUSE HERE COMES SCOTTY! Scotty tries to get a waistlock on Ashlynn, but she tails it out of the ring. NOW VEENA IS ON THE APRON! COME ON, VEENA! LET SCOTTY HAVE IT!
Eve: Well Scotty’s attention has been diverted to Veena and they are arguing, BUT HE DIDN’T SEE ASHLYNN SNEAK BACK INTO THE RING AND ASHLYNN CLOBBERS SCOTTY WITH THE DOUBLE SLEDGE TO THE BACK OF THE HEAD TAKING SCOTTY! LOOKS LIKE WE NOW HAVE A WRESTLING MATCH! About time.
Gavin Kirkland: Leave her alone. Ashlynn knows exactly what she is doing and that’s taking advantage of the match. Scotty is down and she is kicking the tar out of Scotty in the early going of this match.
Eve: Yeah. Only because she is using underhanded tactics. She is too into herself to follow the rules. Now she’s dragging Scotty over to the ropes. She puts Scotty’s neck on the bottom rope AND NOW SHE’S CHOKING SCOTTY ON THE BOTTOM ROPE! ONCE AGAIN BREAKING THE RULES!
Referee: (off-mic) Get him off the ropes. BREAK IT NOW! ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR!
Deadprez: Ashlynn breaks the choke at four and she has the referee’s attention blocked AND VEENA ADAMS GETS INVOLVED ONCE AGAIN AND HITS SCOTTY WITH A BACK ELBOW TO THE FACE THAT SENDS SCOTTY BACK! Ashlynn sees Veena do the damage and she quickly gets into the cover!

Gavin Kirkland: SCOTTY KICKS OUT AT TWO! Ashlynn didn’t like the fact that Scotty kicked out so she mounts Scotty and STARTS CHOKING SCOTTY ONCE AGAIN! Once again, the referee admonishes Ashlynn for her choking.
Referee: (off-mic) Stop the choking, Ashlynn. STOP THE CHOKING NOW! ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR! FIV–!
Deadprez: Once again, Ashlynn breaks on four and she is really risking disqualification right now. Now she pulls Scotty back to his feet and whips him to the ropes. Scotty comes back as Ashlynn puts her head down AND SCOTTY KICKS HER RIGHT IN THE FACE! WHAT A SHOT! THAT SENDS ASHLYNN FLYING BACK!
Gavin Kirkland: WHAT THE HECK? THAT’S A MILLION DOLLAR FACE YOU JUST KICKED, SCOTTY! DON’T YOU BE BREAKING A NATIONAL TREASURE!
Eve: A million dollar face with a ten cent attitude. Ashlynn is holding her nose, BUT HERE COMES SCOTTY WITH A CLOTHESLINE TAKING ASHLYNN DOWN! Scotty is now starting to build up as he brings Ashlynn back up to her feet AND SNAPMARES HER OVER!
Deadprez: Ashlynn now sitting on the mat as Scotty hits the ropes again AND HE DELIVERS A DROPKICK RIGHT TO THE BACK OF ASHLYNN’S HEAD! THAT SENDS HER DOWN TO THE CANVAS!
Eve: Scotty is not electing to go for the cover right now as he brings Ashlynn back to her feet. Scotty looks to whip Ashlynn to the ropes, BUT INSTEAD HE PULLS ASHLYNN BACK IN AND SLAMS HER DOWN TO THE MAT WITH THE BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEX! ASHLYNN SENT FOR A RIDE THERE!
Gavin Kirkland: How dare he do that to Ashlynn! What has she done to deserve this treatment? Come on! Leave her alone!
Deadprez: What has she done? Do you have selective vision or something? Because you have pretty much ignored most of what Ashlynn has done in this match. She hasn’t exactly been the most pure and wholesome person in this match.
Gavin Kirkland: I mean she is doing whatever she can to impress Veena Adams. If she wants the honor of being called Veena’s tag team partner, she needs to pull out all the stops in order to make that happen.
Eve: Scotty still in control of the match as he once again brings Ashlynn back to her feet and this time she gets whipped into the corner. Scotty follows and SPLASHES ASHLYNN IN THE CORNER! Give her credit, though, because she is still on her feet.
Gavin Kirkland: You better not hit her face again! Right now, Scotty backs up AND RUNS TO THE CORNER AGAIN LOOKING FOR ANOTHER SPLASH BUT ASHLYNN GETS A BOOT UP AND CATCHES SCOTTY RIGHT IN THE FACE! THERE YOU GO!
Eve: Stop being so biased! Scotty is still on his feet as Ashlynn climbs up to the top rope. Ashlynn looks to fly, BUT SCOTTY STOPS HER AND JUST SLAMS HER RIGHT OFF THE TOP TURNBUCKLE! NICE COUNTER BY THE MAJOR!
Deadprez: Breaking out some new moves in his arsenal and that’s exactly what he needs to do in order to prepare for his eventual title match. Ashlynn landed hard on her back as Scotty hits the ropes AND HITS A LEG DROP ACROSS ASHLYNN’S THROAT BEFORE GOING FOR THE COVER!

Deadprez: VEENA ADAMAS ONCE AGAIN MAKES HER PRESENCE FELT AS SHE TRIPS SCOTTY UP! ASHLYNN ONCE AGAIN HAD THE REFEREE DISTRACTED! This is pretty much a handicap match right now. But Scotty turns around to face Veena–
Eve: SCOTTY JUST STOMPED ON VEENA’S HAND! Veena didn’t pull her hand back in time and she paid the price for sticking her nose where it didn’t belong.
Gavin Kirkland: He is being such a brute! He might have just ruined her manicure and broken a few of her nails. Does he know how long it takes for her to get those nails perfect and flawless?
Deadprez: I don’t think he knows and I don’t think he cares. Scotty is getting tired of having to keep eyes in the back of his head for when Veena will strike again. No need to question anything. We all know Veena. She will interfere again.
Eve: No doubt about that. Scotty once again turns around to Ashlynn AND ASHLYNN OUT OF NOWHERE JUMPS UP AND GOES FOR A DDT, BUT SCOTTY POWERS OUT AND PUSHES ASHLYNN OFF HIM AND ASHLYNN CRASHES CHEST FIRST ON THE MAT!
Gavin Kirkland: I’ll give Scotty credit for being one step ahead on that one, but he has a way to go before taking out the Boujee Princess. Ashlynn is still shaking the cobwebs from that DDT landing as SCOTTY DROPKICKS ASHLYNN RIGHT IN THE FACE! ASHLYNN TURNED INSIDE OUT !
Deadprez: Ashlynn sent into the ropes AND SCOTTY FOLLOWS UP WITH A BASEBALL SLIDE DROPKICK SENDING ASHLYNN OUT OF THE RING AND SHE HITS THE FLOOR!
Gavin Kirkland: Scotty slides out of the ring and brings Ashlynn back to her feet. SCOTTY SMASHES ASHLYNN’S FACE AGAINST THE EDGE OF THE RING BEFORE ROLLING HER BACK INTO THE RING! STOP HITTING HER IN THE FACE!
Eve: Some people have said on social media that Ashlynn has a face that is very punchable because of her attitude. BUT WHAT IS ASHLYNN DOING NOW? SHE HAS THE REFEREE DISTRACTED ONCE AGAIN! Isn’t the referee smartening up to what is going on?
Gavin Kirkland: Who knows, but right now, VEENA DECIDES TO INTERFERE ONCE AGAIN AS SHE FIRES A FOREARM TO SCOTTY BEFORE SHOVING HIM FACE FIRST RIGHT INTO THE RINGPOST! THERE WE GO!! THAT’S MY GIRL, VEENA!
Eve: She is NOT your girl, so stop that! Did you hear that thud when Scotty’s head hit the ringpost? Scotty is on the floor and he could have been knocked out with that shot. Ashlynn still has the referee distracted as Veena brings Scotty back to his feet and rolls him back into the ring. Ashlynn sees that Scotty is back in the ring and runs over for the cover. IS ASHLYNN GOING TO STEAL IT HERE?

Gavin Kirkland: It’s all good, Ashlynn. Keep your cool. You’ve got this. It’s only a matter of time before you win this match. Just keep your head in the game. It looks like she is as she mounts Scotty AND JUST STARTS THROWING LEFTS AND RIGHTS IN HIS FACE!
Deadprez: The referee once again admonishes Ashlynn for the closed fists and she listens for once and brings Scotty back to his feet. Ashlynn whips Scotty to the ropes. Scotty comes back AND ASHLYNN TAKES HIM DOWN WITH A LOU THESZ PRESS AND ONCE AGAIN STARTS THROWING FISTS IN SCOTTY’S FACE!
Eve: I don’t know about you, but I think the referee is starting to have all they can handle with Ashlynn’s blatant breaking of all the rules. Either way the referee is telling her to once again open up the fists or risk being disqualified. At the four count again, Ashlynn opens the fists.
Deadprez: Maybe this is her way of showing some intensity before her title match on Friday. Who knows, but we do know that she has Scotty on the rails right now. You gotta give part of that credit to Veena Adams.
Eve: You certainly do, but right now Ashlynn brings Scotty back to his feet and tries to whip him to the ropes again, BUT SCOTTY COUNTERS AND ASHLYNN HITS THE ROPES! Scotty puts his head down as Ashlynn rebounds–
Gavin Kirkland: ASHLYNN COUNTERS BY RUNNING AND JUMPING BEFORE PLANTING SCOTTY WITH THE DDT! WHAT A COUNTER BY ASHLYNN QUINN! SCOTTY WAS SPIKED RIGHT ON HIS HEAD! Scotty is down and Ashlynn walks over AND DROPS HER KNEES RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF SCOTTY’S GUT!
Deadprez: Ashlynn rolls forward BEFORE FLIPPING BACK AND DROPPING HER KNEES IN HIS GUT AGAIN! THAT INSULT TO INJURY STYLE MOVE IS CALLED “FYP” BY ASHLYNN! Now Ashlynn drops again and this time for the cover!

Eve: That isn’t a breakdown. That is a temper tantrum and a hissy fit going on right now because Ashlynn isn’t going her way. Surprise. Surprise.
Gavin Kirkland: That’s enough of that because Ashlynn has her cool back and she brings Scotty to her feet and tries to whip him to the ropes.
Eve: But out of nowhere, Scotty manages to counter and send Ashlynn for the ride. BUT ASHLYNN SPRINGS UP TO THE MIDDLE ROPE AND BOUNCES BACK! ASHLYNN IS LOOKING TO GET “BAD AND BOUJEE” WITH THE SPRINGBOARD CUTTER–
Deadprez: SCOTTY CAUGHT HER! SCOTTY CAUGHT ASHLYNN AROUND THE WAIST! LOOK AT THE POWER FROM SCOTTY AND HE THROWS HER OVERHEAD AND COUNTERS WITH A GERMAN SUPLEX!
Gavin Kirkland: I can admit that I did NOT see that coming from Scotty. BUT HE STILL HAS THE WAISTLOCK AND BRINGS HER BACK UP TO HER FEET AND DROPS HER AGAIN WITH ANOTHER GERMAN SUPLEX!
Deadprez: It’s not over yet! Scotty keeps the hold and brings her up one more time AND DROPS HER WITH A THIRD GERMAN SUPLEX! ASHLYNN WENT FOR A RIDE AS SCOTTY BRIDGES UP AND GOES FOR THE PIN!

Eve: WHAT A NEAR FALL! Ashlynn took a ride with that German Suplex Trifecta and she still managed to get the shoulder up before three. As much of a Princess she believes herself to be, she can go in the ring when the situation calls for it.
Deadprez: Very true, but look at Scotty! He is feeling it! He’s facing a numbers disadvantage and he was very close to picking up the victory. BUT LOOK AT VEENA ADAMS!
Eve: VEENA ONCE AGAIN ON THE APRON AND THIS TIME SCOTTY TAKES A SWING AT VEENA! Veena managed to jump down at the last second and now Scotty and Veena are having some words–
Gavin Kirkland: BUT THAT GAVE ASHLYNN ENOUGH TIME TO RECOVER AND ROLL UP SCOTTY FROM BEHIND! SCHOOLBOY ROLLUP AND ASHLYNN IS TRYING TO STEAL THE MATCH AGAIN!

Deadprez: If Ashlynn wasn’t cheating, the referee wouldn’t have had to do that. She brought it upon herself. Now she’s back to her feet AND ARGUING WITH THE REFEREE!
Eve: Another tantrum being thrown by Ashlynn as she starts reading the referee the riot act and she is blinded by rage and doesn’t realize that Scotty is back to his feet.
Deadprez: Scotty comes up behind Ashlynn and spins her around BEFORE KICKING HER IN THE GUT! ASHLYNN DOUBLED OVER AS SCOTTY BUTTERFLIES HER ARMS BEFORE LETTING OUT A MARINE STYLE BATTLE CRY!

Deadprez: This was an amazing match, but I can’t say that I am surprised with how the match ended. Ashlynn Quinn was able to use her resources to her advantage and she found a way to steal the victory here tonight.
Eve: You hate to see matches end like this, but I agree. Thanks to the appearance and interference of Veena Adams, Ashlynn steals the win.
(The referee goes to raise Ashlynn’s hand, but Veena shoves the referee out of the way and raises Ashlynn’s hand herself as the referee goes back to check on Scotty as Veena and Ashlynn leave the ring and head up the entrance ramp.)
Gavin Kirkland: WOOOOOOO! My girl Veena knows how to recognize talent. I hope Milli Banks was watching this match because we could be in the presence of the new Specialist Champion right now. That is going to be awesome because we could have the Golden Besties by this time next week! Veena as the National Elite Champion and Ashlynn as the Specialists Champion. Can you imagine it? Showdown with all the gold.
Eve: We know you are excited, Gavin, but you need to tone it down a bit. Next week, Ashlynn will have to fly solo on Super Dynasty. But right now, you have got to give it up to Major Scotty. He put up an amazing effort and almost had the match won on numerous occasions. Even with the disadvantage of Veena Adams being at ringside, he fought with that Marine spirit that has made him famous, but unfortunately, it just wasn’t meant to be tonight for Scotty. But he should keep his head up and keep his mind on his future New Breed Championship match.
Deadprez: At the end of the day, the numbers game was too much for the Major as Ashlynn Quinn picks up the victory here tonight on Showdown. Congratulations to Ashlynn once again on the win.
(The final shot shows Ashlynn and Veena standing at the top of the entrance ramp celebrating Ashlynn’s win and laughing at Scotty before the camera cuts back to Scotty who is not happy at all with how the end of this match went down before as the camera cuts to an ad for the biggest event of the year, Pain for Pride.)
(As the camera fades back in, “Partition” by Beyonce starts to play as the crowd gets to their feet, there is a split between boos and cheers, while Kassidy Heart slowly walks out in black Spanx, a white halter top and see through heels. Her long brunette hair hanging down with a bit of a smirk on her face. She does have a small bandage on her forehead from the headbutts she administered against Drake King to finally throw him out. She slowly makes her way toward the ring. )
Gina Romano: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN…. MY I INTRODUCE AT THIS TIME NONE OTHER THAN THE 2023 GRAND RAMPAGE WINNER…. KASSIDY HEART!!!
(She finally makes her way to the apron and walks up the stairs slowly. Stopping for a moment to soak up the reaction of the crowd.)
Deadprez: Here she is with all of her glory, none other than the first woman to ever win Grand Rampage and she was dominant in that ring, entering at number 5 and surviving the rest! None other than Kassidy Heart!
Eve: One of the best performances ever by her, and she went through 29 other Elitists to get this honor and now that means she will challenge for a World Championship at Pain for Pride. The question is, which one?
Gavin Kirkland: The options are limitless, and we know that Kassidy Heart will take her time in doing so. Kassidy right now is in total control and that excites me!
(Kassidy steps into the ring and takes the mic from Gina Romano as she steps out. Kassidy paces the ring some before she looks right at the camera, her theme dies down.)
Kassidy Heart: I had a lot to think about after Reasonable Doubt. Some thought that my career was over, or that I would be gone for a very long time. It didn’t take long to figure things out though, knowing there is a perpetrator out there that tried their best to take me out of the game for some reason and since this Detective that Kennedy hired hasn’t found who did this yet, I will personally give him until Fighting Spirit to either have a clue who did this to me or at least tell me straight in my face that he has absolutely no idea and I will do it myself because this has not changed my resolve.
(The crowd does cheer for Kassidy, some boo but that doesn’t affect her at all as she has a plan and will make sure that it is followed through.)
Kassidy Heart: Now that this is out of the way, let’s talk about The Grand Rampage. A match that I have never been a part of in my career but have seen make some of the best Elitists into immortals. After Reasonable Doubt, I needed some direction, it is no secret what stance I have taken since Pain for Pride last year when I was unable to defeat Andrea Valentine for the Universal Women’s Championship. Since then, something has burned deep within my soul to become a World Champion again. When I woke up in an ambulance, trying to figure out what happened, through all the pain, there is one thing that came to mind…. That time was running out.
(Pausing for a moment, Kassidy paces the ring some, then turns back at the camera.)
Kassidy Heart: I took a backseat to everyone on Showdown like a good little girl. I allowed for this brand to try and flourish without me being at the helm or at the top and we get Jake Smith as the EAW World Champion? I have patiently watched stars being created right before my eyes and trying to fight for MY spot. It is the main reason that I took the initiative and upon myself to enter the Grand Rampage and win it all. There wasn’t going to be any other outcome. I survived 29 of the best Elitists in this company and even eliminated a good portion of them just to prove a point that I will NEVER be denied my placement on this roster and the company. No one thought I would do it, yet all I did the entire week leading into the Grand Rampage match was to come out and show what MY legend was all about with every single letter of the alphabet.
(There is a huge applause and ovation for her work heading into the Grand Rampage, but that still doesn’t faze Kassidy Heart who looks out to the crowd before turning back to the camera.)
Kassidy Heart: From Bronson Daniels, to Joso, to Ruler and Theron Nikolas, to returns like Cy Henderson, Rex McAllister, and Lethal Consequences, to Drake King himself, I made it my mission to walk out and guarantee my shot at the very top again, but what no one knows is what I am going to pick and here is why I hold all the cards. So, at Fighting Spirit, I will let all of you know, the EAW and my opponent who I will choose to face and for what World Championship at Pain for Pride.
(“Partition” starts to play throughout the arena as the crowd starts to cheer, some boo while Kassidy Heart stares into the camera before dropping the mic and standing in the middle of the ring, posing.)
Deadprez: We heard her intentions and now Kassidy Heart will let us all know who she will challenge at Pain for Pride. You know that every single World Champion is nervous right now. She also sent a powerful message to Private Investigator Richard who will be challenged to bring whatever proof he has at Fighting Spirit and let’s see if he has found anything out!
Eve: Kassidy made her stance, her intentions loud and clear and she knows that she sits behind the wheel steering it, what will she do, we will find out at Fighting Spirit!

(Kassidy continues to pose as the scene fades into the last commercial of the night.)
( Showdown returns from the commercial break, and we see Gina Romano standing in the center of the ring, getting ready to officiate the final match of the evening! )

( ‘The Leaving Song Pt. II’ by AFI begins to play, signaling the arrival of Hans Grayson. He slowly makes his way up to the stage, pausing for a moment to take a deep breath before setting his sights on the ring and making his way toward it. )

( As Hans arrives in front of the ring, he glares over to the commentary table with a displeased expression. The camera pans to reveal Veena Adams sitting there, holding the National Elite title on her lap and watching the match closely. Hans doesn’t let her bother him too much and enters the ring to prepare for the match. His theme music is replaced by ‘Invincible’ by Pop Smoke as smoke begins filling the stage. Chris bursts out from the smoke, receiving a positive reaction from the crowd. He looks up to see Hans already in the ring, ready for the match. Chris does a quick warm-up before heading toward the ring. )
Gina Romano: FROM BROOKLYN, NEW YORK!… WEIGHING IN AT 210 POUNDS!…. THE EAW HALL OF FAMER!… ‘GAWD GIVEN GREATNESS’ !!!!…. CHRISSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!….. ELITEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
( Chris arrives in front of the ring, and he looks up to Hans before popping up onto the apron and entering the ring. Once inside, Chris immediately backs himself into his own corner, taking off his entrance gear and preparing himself for the main event that he is scheduled for tonight. )

Eve: The main event of tonight is finally underway and both men waste no time going right at each other. Chris Elite throws a right hand and Hans replies with his own. Hans looks to throw a hard one but Chris ducks under, pushing Hans towards the ropes. HANS QUICKLY BOUNCES OFF WITH A HANDSPRING ROUNDHOUSE KICK, TAKING DOWN CHRIS!
Gavin Kirkland: Chris gets smacked right across his face with a kick before he is about to fall, but Hans quickly rises back to his feet just in time and catches Chris, throwing him to the ropes. Hans looks for a clothesline this time, but Chris ducks under, turning back around and IMMEDIATELY CONNECTING HANS WITH A GERMAN SUPLEX AS PAYBACK!
Deadprez: Hans lands before rolling down to the corner, holding the back of his head and trying to reach both feet. CHRIS RUNS IN AND IMMEDIATELY PACKS HIM UP WITH ‘HAWK EM’!! IT’S A CORNER RUNNING DOUBLE KNEE THAT TAKES HANS DOWN RIGHT BEFORE HE COULD DO ANYTHING ELSE!
Gavin Kirkland: Chris starts rolling back to his feet and then pulls Hans out of the corner, seizes him, and DROPS HANS TO THE GROUND THIS TIME WITH AN EXPLODER SUPLEX!
Eve: Hans gets taken down and is handled completely by the Hall of Famer at the moment. It’s not looking really good for the Fire Heart at all! Chris starts picking him up again and begins throwing a few punches at Hans to make sure that he is still in control of this match against his opponent. Hans starts to slow down, with Chris running off him to the ropes behind him. However, Hans quickly catches him with a slap right across Chris’ jaw, BOUNCING OFF THE MAT AND CONNECTING CHRIS WITH A PELE KICK!
Gavin Kirkland: I didn’t even expect Hans to recover so quickly after what he’s been through in this match so far! Hans then gets Chris off the ground and sends him to the ropes, but Chris quickly goes over and lands both feet on the apron while Hans turns back around to him. Hans quickly runs in to send Chris off the spot, but Chris ducks under and CLOCKS HIM BACK INTO THE RING WITH A HARD RIGHT HAND! Hans stumbles back down to the middle of the ring, and then Chris pulls the top rope, AND SPRINGBOARDS AND TAKES DOWN HANS WITH A FLYING FOREARM SMASH!
Deadprez: Hans isn’t going anywhere just yet as he catches Chris Elite and lifts him up! LOOK AT THE POWER HANS HAS THERE! I mean, guys, he handles Chris like a toy before throwing him up high into the air and PLANTING HIM TO THE GROUND WITH A SIT-OUT MICHINOKU DRIVER! What a great display of strength by the Fire Heart right there! This is a good opportunity for him to make a move against Chris in this chess game he’s playing!
Eve: Chris is not going anywhere, but he’s crawling towards the rope, and Hans is looking for an opportunity to make a move here. Hans starts running down towards the ropes before stepping up to the middle one, leaping off and looking to go for ‘Fire Sault’ on Chris Elite! The Lionsault takes out the Hall of Famer, but Chris barely rolls out of the way just in time, sending Hans crashing down to the mat!
Gavin Kirkland: Neither man seems to be getting back to their feet soon, both men are down. Hans is taking care of his own business after missing the mark, while Chris is still recovering on his feet!
Veena Adams: These two are totally suck. Hans has never been good, and I do not understand why people like him so much like when they saw a random TikToker becoming a boxer and winning against a professional fighter without any legitimate reason, and then they praise him like a god.
Gavin Kirkland: Oh?
Veena Adams: Chris Elite has been declining for a while now, and I don’t really know why the audience is still supporting him. It’s like when they cheer for Lexi Chamber that I’m still wondering whether EAW is using fake crowd noise or if that is actually the real crowd cheering for her. The same goes for Chris, nobody likes him anymore, and perhaps he should retire for good instead of attempting to challenge for my title as if he has any chance of winning it when the only thing he has a chance of achieving is losing on a weekly basis. :mjlol:
Gavin Kirkland: Well, that’s quite a lot coming from you, my beautiful queen. I respect your opinion, so feel free to express it, rawr.
Eve: Guys, there is a match going on, and let’s focus on the matter at hand. Look, Chris starts returning to his feet, pushing himself off the ground while Hans uses the middle rope to pull himself back up. Chris wins the race and runs off the ropes, charging at Hans, but Hans sends him over the ropes, causing Chris to land on the apron again. Hans looks up and throws a punch at Chris, but Chris catches his arm, pulling the rope and connecting with a kick right into Hans’ face, sending him back into the ring!
Veena Adams: Why is he even trying? :mjlol2:
Deadprez: Chris quickly grabs the rope once again before leaping off the top one and taking Hans down quickly with a Flying Crossbody! Hans is struck down by Chris and stumbles back into the corner.
Eve: Chris looks up to Hans, rolls back to his feet, and runs right at Hans, attacking him with a Body Splash at the corner, pulling him out and throwing a clothesline, taking Hans down in the process. Hans is being controlled by Chris this time around. Chris looks up to those ropes again in front of him, starts returning to his feet, and waits for Hans to follow him up to his feet, still hurt from the crossbody. Chris rushes towards the ropes, BOUNCES OFF AND GOES FOR ‘ELITE CUTTER’, A SPRINGBOARD CUTTER DRILLING HANS TO THE GROUND!
Gavin Kirkland: Hans somehow catches Chris again, lifts him off the ground, AND TRIES TO DROP CHRIS WITH A SAITO SUPLEX! He’s trying to fight back there, but Chris spikes him quickly with a back elbow to the back of his neck. Hans releases him as Chris lands on both feet, turns around, and gives Hans two punches right across his face from both hands. Chris is already on it and goes forward with a Shoot Kick at Hans, continuing with a Spinning Backfist, THEN A LARIAT CONNECTING FOR ‘5 BOROUGH COMBO’ !!!!
Deadprez: Hans ducks under the lariat just in time, then quickly runs up to the ropes behind Chris, bouncing off and trying to take Chris down with HIS VARIATION OF THE SUPERMAN PUNCH, KNOWN AS THE ‘FIRE PUNCH’ !!!!!!!!! Chris sidesteps… UNDERHOOKS HANS’ ARMS, AND IMMEDIATELY TAKES HIM DOWN TO THE GROUND WITH A SNAP DRAGON SUPLEX!
Eve: Hans lands directly on his neck and doesn’t look good because of how hard he landed. He tries to make a comeback, but Chris quickly forces him to the ground with A ‘DREAMING’ AXE KICK, DROPPING HANS RIGHT TO THE GROUND!!! Chris doesn’t waste any time and hooks Hans’ leg, going for a cover!

Eve: I think Chris really wants to win this and prove to everybody that he’s not as weak as people see him these days, especially now that he has become “UNC” like some of the legends in this business. Chris still wants to keep proving himself and make sure his Hall of Famer status doesn’t get rusty anytime soon. Hans is still down on the ground, holding the back of his neck, as Chris reaches for the middle rope and pulls himself to his feet.
Gavin Kirkland: Chris might see the opportunity to do something great here and cause a lot of damage. He jumps over the ropes down to the apron again. Hans is still down on the ground, and now Chris starts climbing up to the top corner, heading all the way up and looking for another high-flying move.
Veena Adams: He’s going to blow up his knees soon.
Deadprez: Chris goes for a frog splash there on Hans, but HANS LIFTS BOTH KNEES HIGH IN THE AIR, CAUSING CHRIS TO LAND ON HIS OWN GUT! He holds onto his gut and rolls around in pain. What a nice quick counter by Hans Grayson! Maybe the fire punch starts COOKING HEAT once again, folks, but who knows? I know Chris has a lot left in his tank, and surely things aren’t going to end easily here.
Gavin Kirkland: Absolutely, Prez. Chris is a former World Champion, and he’s been in the ring against some of the best in this business! He holds the most experience in this match, which I’m sure can give Veena a warning for her title reigns!
Veena Adams: Excuse me? Really? Do I really have to be afraid of this bald geezer asking for a hand to cross the street, Gavin?
Gavin Kirkland: I’m sorry! Anyway, these two are slithering away from each other once again to get back on their feet, with Hans going towards the right side of the ring and Chris going towards the left side of the ring. What devilry are these two plotting, and why does it seem like it’s a prelude to something sinister?
( Both men stand across the ring, reaching their feet at the same time and standing opposite each other on the apron. They look at each other and start yelling. )

Deadprez: It’s already been crazy, but these two are not done with each other yet! They still want to go at each other as Chris throws a punch, and Hans quickly replies with his own! Hans looks to hit another one, but Chris catches him with a quick slap across his face, pushing him towards the ropes. Hans bounces off and LOOKS FOR ANOTHER HANDSPRING ROUNDHOUSE KICK, but Chris steps back just a bit to let Hans land on his feet, goes behind him, and QUICKLY DROPS HANS TO THE GROUND WITH A SNAP GERMAN SUPLEX!
Eve: But somehow, HANS POWERS UP! He shows once again that he’s not easy to put down before running at Chris and LOOKING TO TURN HIM DOWN WITH ‘FIRE PUNCH’ but Chris pops him up in the air and PLANTS HANS TO THE GROUND QUICKLY WITH A MASSIVE SITOUT POWERBOMB! CHRIS GOES FOR THE COVER ON HANS! WILL THIS BE IT FOR CHRIS ELITE TO FINISH HIS JOB AGAINST HANS GRAYSON?

He runs in and quickly KNOCKS HANS’ JAW OFF WITH ‘OPEN YA MATA’ RUNNING KNEE STRIKE DIRECTLY TO HANS! Hans collapses to the ground immediately and Chris pulls him in again for another cover!

Deadprez: I am very confident there is a lot left in Hans’ tank too here, so Chris has to put a lot more work into beating him here tonight. Hans isn’t playing around at all, and I’m sure he’s going to prove himself to Chris why he’s not one to be underestimated. Chris might know deep down here that the situation is not very easy to handle at the moment, but he will still make sure that he can handle Hans, prove his Hall of Famer status, and show why Hans is the one who needs to give him some respect to his name. Chris grabs Hans by his wrist and now pulls him off the ground, seizes him in, and sets him up for ‘Mood Swings’ Front Flip Snapmare Driver there!
Eve: No wait, Hans jabs Chris’ gut with a right hand, trying to make an escape, but Chris quickly releases him and hammers Hans’ back with a hard right hand, causing Hans to fall to the ground immediately. Chris follows up with a flurry of stomps while Hans is still down on the ground. Chris jumps high and drops Hans to the ground completely this time with a right hard stomp to his spine!
Gavin Kirkland: Now, Chris runs up to the rope again and springboards back to Hans, but Hans returns to his feet just in time and CLOCKS CHRIS RIGHT IN MID-AIR WITH A JUMPING KNEE STRIKE, KNOCKING CHRIS OUT COLD AND SENDING HIS SOUL TO SLUMBERLAND! Chris is just about to fall, but Hans hangs on, using his shoulders to pull himself back to his feet before SPIKING CHRIS’ HEAD TO THE GROUND WITH A GIGANTIC POISONRANA!
Deadprez: Maybe the chance is in Hans’ hands here, and now he’s running towards the ropes after taking Chris down with two moves and QUICKLY LANDING ON CHRIS WITH ‘FIRESAULT,’ TAKING HIM DOWN IN THE PROCESS! A LIONSAULT FORCES CHRIS TO STILL BE ON THE GROUND! Chris looks absolutely dead, like someone just smacked the back of his head with a baseball bat, and now Hans turns him over and goes for a cover on Chris! Would this be the match to create his career-defining moment?

Chris scrambles back to his feet without noticing, aND HANS RUNS OUT OF THE CORNER IMMEDIATELY, GOING FOR ‘HIGH HEAT’ SOMERSAULT FLIP INTO A KILLSWITCH, DRIVING CHRIS TO THE GROUND!
Veena Adams: RIP BOZO.
Deadprez: Chris hangs on and lets Hans land on his feet instead! Chris turns back around quickly, hooking Hans’ both arms and TURNING HIM INTO A BACKSLIDE ROLL-UP! CHRIS IS GOING TO STEAL IT LIKE THAT!

Hans throws a clothesline, but Chris ducks under, turning Hans around, kicking his gut, and QUICKLY SEIZING HIM FOR THE ‘FACE VALUE’ HAMMERLOCK DDT! Hans stops the action before twisting his arm out and quickly taking Chris down with an Arm Drag! Chris rolls back to his feet by an arm drag and holds down his back with HANS POPPING BACK TO HIS FEET AND RUNNING IN FOR THE ‘FIRE PUNCH’ SUPERMAN PUNCH!
Gavin Kirkland: Chris plays it safe, catching Hans’ right hand that’s coming at his face before quickly hoisting him on one shoulder, running towards the corner, and DROPPING HANS TO THE MIDDLE TURNBUCKLE WITH THE ’44 BULLDOG’ LAWN DART THROW!
Deadprez: Hans’ face is just getting driven to the middle turnbuckle, and now he ends up being blind there! Hans can’t see anything momentarily before holding his face and turning back to Chris as CHRIS LOOKS TO END THINGS THERE RIGHT AWAY WITH THE ‘BOX OFFICE SMASH’ SUPERKICK!
Eve: Hans barely ducks under the kick as Chris almost hits the referee there! Chris quickly turns his attention back to Hans, and Hans QUICKLY KNOCKS CHRIS OUT COLD WITH A HARD ‘FIRE PUNCH’! A SUPERMAN PUNCH SHAPES CHRIS’ JAW INTO A WEIRD ARTISTIC STRUCTURE RIGHT THERE AS CHRIS FALLS RIGHT DOWN ONTO THE GROUND WITH HANS SITTING THERE AND LOOKING IN SHOCK THAT HE MANAGES TO FINALLY HIT THE PUNCH!

Gavin Kirkland: Hans looks around and the crowd quickly tells him to head down to the apron and finish the job right here! Hans quickly goes over the ropes down to the apron with Chris holding down his chin and tries to reach both feet! Chris is in a perfect position for Hans to seize the opportunity right here and this could be it for Hans! This is it!…. ‘BURNING SHOT LARIAT’ !!!!!!!!!…..
Eve: ‘BROOKLYN HIGH’ SPANISH FLY COUNTERS HANS AT THE LAST SECOND! CHRIS TAKES HANS DOWN JUST IN TIME, AND NOW HANS IS STRUGGLING TO GET BACK TO HIS FEET! CHRIS BACKS HIMSELF INTO THE CORNER AND WAITS FOR IT! DON’T TURN BACK AROUND, HANS!

( Chris isn’t even getting back to his feet before Veena rushes into the ring and immediately assaults Chris with the championship belt to the back of his head! The boos grow louder as Ashlynn runs from the back and slides into the ring, joining forces with Veena and begins pummeling Chris, who is defenseless against the two women. Chris attempts to defend himself, and the referee tries to intervene and stop the attack, but Ashlynn intervenes and throws the referee to the outside of the ring, allowing them to continue attacking Chris with Veena. )
Eve: OH LOOK, HANS IS BACK AND THROWS HIS HAND IN TO HELP CHRIS! HANS RUNS IN AND SWIFTLY KNOCKS ASHLYNN OUT COLD WITH HIS SIGNATURE ‘FIRE PUNCH,’ CAUSING HER TO STUMBLE AND FALL TO THE OUTSIDE OF THE RING! VEENA TURNS AROUND AND SEES WHAT HAPPENED, THEN CHARGES AT HANS, BUT HE DUCKS UNDER AND ATTEMPTS ANOTHER ‘FIRE PUNCH but Veena quickly retreats and rolls out of the ring, avoiding Hans’s attack!
( Veena quickly turns around, picks up Ashlynn off the ground, and hurriedly makes her way to the back, feigning innocence. Hans watches them leave, shakes his head in disappointment, and then proceeds to help Chris to his feet. ‘Invincible’ by Pop Smoke plays as Chris Elite looks up at Hans Grayson, who saved him from the vicious assault. The two men exchange a meaningful look, as if they are contemplating something about each other.)
Deadprez: We are out of time here tonight! We want to thank you all for joining us here on Showdown live from Bermuda! Fighting Spirit is our next stop on the road to PAIN FOR PRIDE! For Eve and Gavin Kirkland…. Goodnight everybody!
(The final scene is Chris Elite standing tall with Hans Grayson while Veena glares back at them, walking backwards holding a semi-conscious Ashlynn who is holding her face and screaming that it might be bruised. Veena holds up the National Elite Championship as Chris Elite smiles and signals it around his waist.)
