(EAW intro plays)
(Showdown opens up with a recap of the show last week. Silas World make a “funeral” to mock Milli about what happened at Shock Value, but Kelton, Bronson and Veena run down to attack them and run them off before the opening match takes place, where after various shenanigans, Bronson is able to defeat Brianna, but yet again all hell breaks loose with security guards coming out to break them apart. Grace tries to get Alana’s attention by annoyingly knocking on her door and trying to bother various officials, before Auburn arrives to reprimand her, but Grace is still stubborn, until finally, Auburn challenges her to a match at Grand Rampage with her Unique Opportunity in the line which Grace accepts. Alana forces Miku Sakai into the Grand Rampage match after her very loud complaining. Miku defeats SORN. Silas tries to warn Alana now that she is all alone, but she stands her ground, announcing the arrival of a new Elitist in Shio Corin while also telling that all of Silas World will fight in matches to the annoyance of Silas. SOSA Henderson defeats Roberto de la Rosa. TLA and Ryan talk out the Grand Rampage match, as TLA reassures him the Hustler’s Alliance is still a team, but he will still kick his culo in the match as Ryan happily takes the challenge. Bronson and Kelton enter Alana’s office to try and talk with her to get another shot at Silas World but Alana can’t give it to them, they argue but Alana gets a solution, to give them a shot at the Tag Team Championships, Bronson tries to stay positive but Kelton is shocked and worried as he would have to fight his own girlfriend, but eventually, Bronson tells him they can talk it later and they leave. And finally in the main event, Veena Adams beats Donovan Duke by disqualification as Silas World jump the ring, Bronson and Kelton back Veena up, as after the brawls, Milli ends up making her return and evens the odds, Donovan being able to break out into the stage but he ends up getting attacked and knocked down by SOSA Henderson, as SOSA stands among the chaos.)
(The recap ends, and it is replaced with the song “Brick Wall” by a Day to Remember, as the camera pans around the inside of the SSE Arena in Belfast, Ireland. Fireworks are shooting out of the stage and the whole crowd can be seen cheering and being excited for the show. The camera ends up panning over to the commentary table with Deadprez, Eve and Gavin Kirkland as the commentators start talking.)
Eve: WELCOME EVERYONE… TO SATURDAY NIGHT SHOWDOWN!
Deadprez: WE ARE ONLY TWO WEEKS AWAY FROM ONE OF THE CRAZIEST EVENTS OF THE SEASON, GRAND RAMPAGE, AND JESUS MAN, I REALLY CAN’T KEEP UP WITH HOW MUCH CHAOS CONTINUES TO GO IN THESE SHOWS, EVE!
Eve: And you best believe that there will be chaos as well in the matches tonight, we will see Elysium go up against the Hustler’s Alliance, as well as a cross brand New Breed match as we see the debuting Shio Corin go up against Dynasty’s Achaia Ariti!
Deadprez: We will also see- CAN THEY CO-EXIST?! Auburn Ware teams up with Grace de Luca to fight against Nikki Kimura and Jadeite! And in the main event, BIG main event, the National Elite Championship is in the line as Cody Maverick defends it against Harper Lee!
Gavin Kirkland: LET’S NOT WASTE ANYMORE TIME, WE OPEN THE SHOW UP WITH ELYSIUM TAKING ON THE HUSTLE ALLIANCE! TAKE IT AWAY GINA ROMANO!
(“Mr. Rager” by Kid Cudi starts to play throughout the arena as the arena stands up and cheers. Bronson Daniels and Jon Kelton come walking out in their wrestling gear ready to take on The Hustle Alliance.)
Gina Romano: THE OPENING CONTEST OF SHOWDOWN IS A TAG TEAM MATCH AND IT IS SCHEDULED FOR ONE FALL!!!!
Crowd: ONE FALL!!!!!
Gina Romano: INTRODUCING FIRST AT A TOTAL COMBINED WEIGHT OF 400 POUNDS! JON KELTON AND BRONSON DANIELS….. ELYSIUM!!!
(The fans cheer loudly as Elysium makes it to the ring.)
Deadprez: What a way to kick off Showdown! A huge tag team match as Elysium matches toward the Grand Rampage to face The British Invasion for the Unified Tag Team Championships! But they will face another team that came close and could win the Championships if given a second chance!
Eve: I truly believe that with The Hustle Alliance! And this will be a huge test for both teams here tonight, but you also have the very public relationship between Jon Kelton and Pandora Paisley, they are lovers, and will that play a hindrance for either team? We will find out!
Gavin Kirkland: It doesn’t matter; The British Invasion are the women to beat! They are the Unified Tag Team Champions and Elysium still has to deal with Silas World, but they are no match for TLA!
(Elysium gets in the ring, Bronson Daniels asks for the mic from Gina Romano as she nods and walks to the corner as the music dies down.)
Bronson Daniels: BELFAST, IRELAND! It is damn good to be here!
(The crowd erupts in cheers.)
Bronson Daniels: Jon and I are glad to be here and in a few moments we are going to be facing one of the top teams not only on Showdown but the entire EAW. The Hustle Alliance will be a true test tonight, but in two weeks, we get the chance to become the Unified Tag Team Champions, and I know for both Jon and me, that is a huge deal. But there are a lot of questions right now too because it is no secret that there is a deep tie between Elysium and The British Invasion. Everyone knows that Jon and Pandora are dating, and after a long time these are two great people that know things went bad and they found each other again. I know how hard this is for Jon and Pandora, because if it was Milli on the other side, I would feel the same way. But that is definitely an obstacle that we are going to have to overcome.
(The crowd cheers at that and claps. Bronson hands the mic over to Jon Kelton who takes it, he doesn’t seem happy.)
Jon Kelton: I have had a week to think about this and while Pandora has also, we both know what is at stake. There comes a time in all of our professional careers when we need to stop for a moment and realize what is right in front of us. Pandora gets it, the Unified Tag Team Championship is the first title she has ever won and doesn’t want to let it go. We on the other hand want to be the Unified Tag Team Champions, titles that have escaped our careers. But we are not going to allow anything to get in the way from having a great competitive match no matter how hard this feels because yeah, I am scared. I waited an entire year plus to hold that beautiful woman in my arms again and I will not mess that up! But Bronson and I both know that it is at stake and will not break our bond no matter the result because one of us is not going to be happy with it. Halsey and Pandora, I know you two are in the back and will be doing guest commentating during our match, come out here please.
(Jon and Bronson wait a few seconds when “Refuse, Resist” by Sepultura starts to play throughout the arena. The fans stand at their feet and cheer in unison as The British Invasion walk out, some boo because they are in Ireland, but that doesn’t bother them as the tag team champions in regular street clothes walk out.)
Deadprez: And here comes the Unified Tag Team Champions, and they are ready to defend the titles even if this match seems to be personal, but these two women have already shown as they defeated the best tag team ever, they plan to take these titles into Pain For Pride.
Eve: These two women have been on another level since Road to Redemption. But this is their toughest test, not just because of the talent that Elysium has, but also the relationship between Pandora and Jon Kelton.
Gavin Kirkland: If she was with me, this wouldn’t be a problem.
(The British Invasion get in the ring and confront Elysium; Pandora stands across from Kelton as Halsey stands in front of Bronson Daniels. Kelton hands the mic over to Halsey.)
Halsey Neel: I’m not going to disrespect any of you in this fine country of Ireland for two reasons, number one, you’re a hell of a team, secondly because of Pandora and Jon, but make no mistake about it, Bronson and Kelton, what we are is the Unified Tag Team Champions and we will do whatever it takes to defend these championships. And I am sure Jon that you know, just as both you and Bronson were saying earlier, we are not going to allow anything to stand in our way of defending these titles and getting one step closer to walk into Pain For Pride as the Unified Tag team Champions.
(Halsey hands the mic over to Pandora.)
Pandora Paisley: You two are going to be tasked to take these Unified Tag Team Championships away from us in England, out home country, where in Liverpool, I grew up and am from Blackpool, which is about an hour from where we will be putting these titles up and we will have family and friends there. But what I am also looking at is someone that I love trying to take this from me and you know what? I want you to fight your hardest Jon because we both fought so hard to get here where we are now in our careers and personal life. But what you need to do right now is concentrate on the task at hand tonight with the Hustle Alliance, because if you look past them, I promise you love, they will take whatever momentum that you built away.
(Pandora leans in and kisses Kelton as the crowd cheers.)
Pandora Paisley: Halsey and I are going to join commentary, you boys do your thing, mates.
(The Hellcat hands the mic over to Gina Romano as they start to step out of the ring, Bronson and Jon both nod and look at one another while Pandora and Halsey make their way to the announce table.)
Deadprez: The warning signs were there, both teams know how important this match is, and The British Invasion will be joining us for the first match.
Gavin Kirkland: That should be me she should be kissing!
Eve: We have tag team action coming up between two of the best teams on Showdown! We will be right back after this short commercial break!
(The scene fades to commercial as The British Invasion arrive at the table and take their headsets.)
(Showdown came back from commercials, with Halsey and Pandora in the commentator’s table while Kelton and Bronson were already in their own corner. At that moment, “Olé” by the Bouncing Souls plays on the speakers to a loud reaction from the fans, Ryan rushes out to the entrance ramp and then raises his arm up towards the crowd, taking in the love of the crowd and hyping them up as he bounced around a bit to the song. He walks towards the middle of the entrance ramp before at that moment, “Ambitionz az a Ridah” by Tupac plays on the speakers now and the crowd becomes even louder with cheers, as TLA comes out with his head down, adjusting his ring jacket before raising his head up and letting out a confident grin, raising his arm up as well and getting the crowd to go crazy. He eventually walks down the ramp as he and Ryan fist bump and the two go forward now.)
Gina Romano: INTRODUCING LAST, FROM MONTREAL, QUEBEC, CANADA AND TLAXCALA, MEXICO, AT A COMBINED WEIGHT OF 435 POUNDS, RYAN JOSEPH WILSON, TLA, THE HUSTLER’SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS ALLIIIIIAAAANNCEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
Eve: Ryan and TLA have truly hit it off as a team ever since they agreed to team up and go against the world all by themselves, even though they haven’t had as much luck as they had hoped for, they are still fighting together!
Deadprez: Tonight though they have a tough challenge when it comes to both Bronson Daniels and Jon Kelton, as these four men have faced against each other several times but when it comes to tag team matches? We will have to see how things work out.
(Ryan and TLA finally arrive towards the ring, jumping over and entering inside, taking their own corner. Ryan and Kelton end up going through the ropes and stay behind as Bronson and TLA stay inside with focused expressions on their face. And so…)
(DING! DING! DING!)
Gavin Kirkland: AND THE MATCH IS OFF TO THE RACES!
Eve: The crowd immediately pops into cheers as soon as the bell rings, the crowd is very hot for both of these teams and truly, what an incredible match to open the show with! Right now with two former world champions in the ring, Bronson Daniels and TLA in different corners, they start circling the ring and moving around the ring, scouting out the other wrestler and getting ready to take their first move!
Deadprez: Bronson and TLA meet in the middle of the ring and they lock up! Bronson has some height advantage against TLA but La Pantera has some muscle himself to combat back against Bronson here! The two struggle and they try to push the other back but they end up in a stalemate right in the middle of the ring!
Eve: TLA is able to move and use his speed though, moving down and then pushing Bronson away off of him and towards the ropes, but that gives Bronson the chance to bounce off them and then come back, moving to try and shoulder tackle TLA!
Deadprez: TLA does not move an inch though and he takes the shoulder tackle like it is nothing! Bronson turns and then he runs towards the ropes, TLA does the same and then goes to run off the ropes on the other side, as the two collide with shoulder tackles- AND THE TWO OF THEM NOT GO DOWN!
Eve: Bronson rushes forward and then he goes to throw a roundhouse kick but TLA rolls away and avoids it! TLA pops up to his feet and then he runs forward, throwing a big boot!
Deadprez: BRONSON BACKS AWAY BUT TLA FAINTS IT WITH A SUDDEN SPINNING ELBOW!
Eve: BRONSON DUCKS DOWN RIGHT IN TIME AND THEN HE JUMPS UP, TRYING TO HIT TLA RIGHT ACROSS THE JAW WITH A JUMPING KNEE!
Deadprez: TLA IS ABLE TO SIDESTEP TO THE SIDE AND THEN GRABS BRONSON BY THE WAIST, TRYING TO PULL BACK AND THEN HIT BRONSON WITH THE GERMAN SUPLEX!
Gavin Kirkland: Yeah, they are uh… wrestling, or something, wow, I can’t really keep up-
Eve: BUT BRONSON IS ABLE TO RUSH TOWARDS THE ROPES IN TIME AND THEN GRAB ONTO THEM, PREVENTING TLA FROM HITTING THE GERMAN AND FORCING HIM TO ROLL AWAY ONCE MORE!
Deadprez: BRONSON JUMPS ONTO THE ROPES AND THEN HE JUMPS OFF, SPINNING AROUND AND THEN TRYING TO HIT TLA RIGHT ACROSS THE FACE WITH A SPRINGBOARD ENZUIGIRI!
Eve: TLA DUCKS DOWN JUST IN TIME AND BRONSON IS ABLE TO LAND ON HIS FEET BUT TLA RUSHES NOW TO THE ROPES, JUMPING OFF THEM THIS TIME AND THEN TRYING TO HIT BRONSON DOWN WITH A SPRINGBOARD MOONSAULT!
Deadprez: BRONSON SIDE STEPS THIS TIME TO THE SIDE, RUSHING OVER AND THEN THROWING A PUNCH!
Eve: TLA THEN MOVES IN QUICKLY AND THEN THROWS A PUNCH IN HIMSELF!
Gavin Kirkland: AS THE TWO PUNCHES COLLIDE AGAINST EACH OTHER AND THEY QUICKLY BACK AWAY, YET AGAIN ON A STANDSTILL!!!
Crowd: WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
(The crowd goes crazy with cheers at the sequence of moves Bronson and TLA pulled off, with Pandora and Halsey on the table, clapping along in an impressed manner.)
Eve: Bronson and TLA yet again pulling out magic in the ring like it is nothing, the two even grin at each other and nod in respect, they are even backing away towards their corners, deciding to switch out and then give their chances for their partner to tag in!

Deadprez: And now both Kelton and Ryan are in the match! The crowd grows more supportive as the two fan-favorites get inside of the ring and are ready to throw down!
Gavin Kirkland: Hey, Pandora, I know that your technically boyfriend is on the ring now and this might be a very awkward time to ask right now but legitimately, when you ended up giving me that kiss like a year ago, I believe that we ended up feeling a connection and I-
Pandora Paisley: Mate, I only did that so I could prank the shit out of you, please, do your job.
Gavin Kirkland: …oh.
Eve: :mjlol: Well, Ryan and Kelton move forward and they end up locking up as well, yet again struggling and trying to get the balance of the match in their favor. So Pandora, about the man that you love, what’s up?
Pandora Paisley: Well, it could be worse, I have dealt with worse things in my life, I am not going to try and say I have a heart of gold right now, but it does beat for the match that I am going to have to face, having to face with someone that I care about, it is hard, truly.
Halsey Neel: What my friend is trying to say is that no matter what is in front of us, we are tearing it apart, but for Bronson and Kelton, we can at least make the exception and put them back together after the match is over, respect moves a lot of mountains. And I respect those two. Said the same when we fought Ryan and TLA, I will say it again-
Gavin Kirkland: So Halsey, are you looking for a man as well?
Halsey Neel: I will murder you.
Gavin Kirkland: Okay, I am not as much into that, nevermind.
Pandora Paisley: Well, speaking of me man, look at him go! He is able to finally push Ryan back and then grab onto his arm, as he throws him towards the ropes with an irish whip and once Ryan comes back, he jumps and then hits him with a beautiful dropkick!
Eve: But Ryan is able to put his arms up in time and then knock Kelton’s legs down to the ground as Ryan raises his arm and then tries to drop, hitting Kelton with an elbow drop right in the abdomen!
Deadprez: Ryan is able to actually hit the elbow! But Ryan does not let up, getting up quickly and then hitting another elbow drop, as Ryan gets up one more time and then he follows it up with a combo of elbow drops, before finally getting up for the last time… and then jumping for the last one!
Eve: Kelton is able to roll out of the way at the last one and Ryan ends up elbowing hard the ring mat instead! Kelton quickly rushes up to his feet and then grabs onto Ryan, grabbing onto his tights and then trying to lift him up for a snap suplex!
Gavin Kirkland: Ryan is able to float over Kelton and then land down behind him! As Ryan jumps up and then he hits Kelton down with a Jumping Neckbreaker! Ryan is not done though, grabbing onto Kelton and then lifting him up to his feet before yet again pulling him up in the air… AND THIS TIME HITTING A SWINGING NECKBREAKER! RYAN GOING CRAZY, OH MY GOD!!!
Pandora Paisley: Why is he getting excited over a neckbreaker???
Eve: Hey, you can’t say that for everyone so that’s something at least. Ryan drops down for the cover here though!
ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO-
Deadprez: But Kelton ends up kicking out right at the count of two and Ryan ends up backing away, he starts thinking now on what is the next move here and then he nods to himself, all while raising his hands up and then getting the crowd hyped up here!
Eve: Kelton is slowly getting up and trying to crawl away here towards the ropes, shaking his head and moving up to his feet with the help of them, as Ryan is heading to the opposite corner and he’s raising his hands up to the sky, the crowd ooooh-ing… before he runs forward! AND THEN HE GOES TO HIT A HELLUVA KICK RIGHT ACROSS KELTON’S FACE!
Halsey Neel: But that sly dog of Kelton ends up moving at the last second and Ryan ends up kicking the turnbuckle instead! He holds onto his ankle there as Kelton starts running up towards the ropes… AND THEN HE JUMPS OFF THEM TO HIT RYAN RIGHT ACROSS THE FACE WITH A SPRINGBOARD KNEE STRIKE!
Pandora Paisley: There we go! That’s what we like to see! He’s even grabbing onto Ryan and not letting it up, as he is grabbing him by his head and then he throws him over towards his team corner! He reaches out for Bronson!
Tag!
Deadprez: And now Bronson is the legal team member! As Kelton grabs onto Ryan and then lifts him up high in the air, he lines him up for Bronson who winds his leg up… BEFORE THROWING A ROUNDHOUSE KICK RIGHT TO THE BACK OF RYAN!
Eve: WHILE BRONSON DROPS HIM DOWN WITH A SIT OUT BRAINBUSTER! GREAT TEAMWORK FROM BRONSON AND KELTON HERE AS KELTON MOVES AWAY AND THEN BRONSON GOES TO COVER RYAN FOR THE PINFALL!

Deadprez: And Ryan is still on the match as he kicks out right before the three!
Halsey Neel: A good showing of resiliency from Ryan here but it is clear that after that brainbuster, he must not be feeling so good here, and Bronson is not going to be the kind of man that is going to let this kind of advantage get away from him, as he just starts NAILING Ryan right across the back with a flurry of kicks! Ryan forces himself to grit his teeth through the pain and then slowly tries to move away from Bronson.
Deadprez: Bronson points to the ropes and then runs towards them, gathering speed as he runs at Ryan sitting up and then goes to throw a soccer kick right at his chest-
Gavin Kirkland: Ryan ducks down in time to avoid the soccer kick, he moves to grab onto Bronson and then pulls him down, suddenly getting a roll-up here on Bronson!
ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO-
Deadprez: Ryan is only able to get a two count here but Ryan makes sure to not waste those extra seconds, he gets up to his feet just as Bronson tries to roll up to his feet himself!
Eve: AND RYAN HAS ENOUGH OF A ROOM TO BEAT HIM TO THE PUNCH AS RYAN IS ABLE TO JUMP UP AND HIT A RUNNING KNEE RIGHT ACROSS BRONSON’S JAW! Bronson looks wobbly for a moment from that one and Ryan heads again to the ropes once more, running and then handspringing off them before jumping back and trying to go for the Lethal Injection!
Deadprez: AND THAT ONLY GETS HIM ANOTHER KICK TO HIS TROUBLES RIGHT TOWARDS HIS BACK! RYAN GRABS ONTO IT ON INSTINCT AND THAT GIVES BRONSON THE CHANCE TO BACK AWAY BEFORE RUNNING FORWARD! BRONSON HITS HIM WITH ONE OF HIS COMBOS!
Gavin Kirkland: BRONSON HITS A PALM STRIKE RIGHT ON THE CHEST OF RYAN, FOLLOWING IT UP WITH A KICK RIGHT TO THE LEG BEFORE RYAN HUNCHES OVER FROM THE PAIN AND THEN BRONSON HITS HIM RIGHT OVER THE BACK WITH A SPINNING ENZUIGIRI! RYAN GOES DOWN!
Eve: BRONSON DROPS DOWN YET AGAIN TO GO FOR ANOTHER COVER ON RYAN!

Deadprez: RYAN IS YET AGAIN ABLE TO KICK OUT RIGHT IN TIME BEFORE THE THREE COUNT! RYAN WON’T STAY DOWN JUST YET! BRONSON BACKS AWAY AND THEN TAKES A FEW STEPS… BEFORE RUNNING FORWARD AND THEN LEAPING OFF!
Eve: BRONSON GOES FOR THE “FLYING BRONSONS!!”
Deadprez: RYAN ENDS UP PUTTING BOTH OF HIS KNEES UP RIGHT IN TIME AND BRONSON LANDS HARD AGAINST THEM! AS RYAN THEN HITS BRONSON AWAY WITH A WELL-PLACED ELBOW RIGHT TO THE FACE AND NOW BOTH OF THEM ARE OUT!
Eve: RYAN THOUGH IS MOVING SLOWLY TOWARDS HIS CORNER AND IS TRYING TO REACH OUT HIS ARM, RYAN IS DOING EVERYTHING IN HIS POWER TO TRY AND REACH TLA AND TAG HIM IN!
Gavin Kirkland: BRONSON IS DOING THE SAME AS HE IS ABLE TO MOVE QUICKER THEN RYAN SINCE HE HAS MORE ENERGY!

Deadprez: And Bronson tags Kelton in-

Eve: JUST AS RYAN LEAPS AT THE LAST MOMENT AND THEN TLA TAGS IN HIMSELF! THE CROWD GOES CRAZY FOR THE HOT TAG AS TLA JUMPS ONTO THE TOP ROPE WITH EASE AND THEN JUMPS OFF, HITTING KELTON DOWN WITH A SPRINGBOARD SPLASH THAT TAKES HIM OFF OF HIS FEET!
Deadprez: TLA ROLLS OFF OF KELTON AND THEN RUNS TOWARDS THE OTHER TEAM’S CORNER, MOVING TO HIT BRONSON OFF THE RING APRON WITH A BIG BOOT JUST LIKE THAT! AS TLA YET AGAIN RUNS TOWARDS THE ROPES JUST AS KELTON IS STIRRING UP TO HIS FEET AGAIN!
Gavin Kirkland: TLA GETS THE CROWD FIRED UP BEFORE HE RUNS TOWARDS THE ROPES, BOUNCING OFF THEM AND YET AGAIN GATHERING MOMENTUM BEFORE HE JUMPS ONTO KELTON AND THEN HE HITS HIM DOWN WITH A RUNNING HURRICANRANA! TLA IS GOING CRAZY RIGHT NOW!!!
Pandora Paisley: Impressive as always when it comes to TLA and what he is able to pull out inside of the ring, he’s giving it 100 percent everytime, Kelton better watch out, I got my own tricks that he doesn’t even know about after all.
Eve: Kelton is yet again crawling towards the corner but that only gives TLA the chance to hit another move, as he runs through the ring and then goes for a METEORA RIGHT TOWARDS JON KELTON!!!
Deadprez: KELTON IS FINALLY ABLE TO ROLL OUT OF THERE AT THE LAST SECOND AND TLA ENDS UP HITTING HIS KNEES HARD AGAINST THE CORNER! (Ryan just kicks out a second too late as he sits up and looks in shock. The crowd responds with cheers as “Mr. Rager” by Kid Cudi plays on the speakers, Kelton sitting up as well and raising a hand in the air in victory.)
Gina Romano: HERE ARE YOUR WINNERS, JON KELTON AND BRONSON DANIELS, ELYSIIUUUUUUUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!
Pandora Paisley: Now THAT is me sly dog.
Eve: What an incredible showcase of tag team wrestling from both teams! They genuinely left it all in the ring right there and proved how much they wanted every single week!
Deadprez: We have seen several matches where four of these men truly gave it their all and made sure to succeed despite all of the odds, and what we saw from them was nothing less than extraordinary, it was just Kelton pulling out a surprise backslide pin that took Ryan off-guard and it gave his team the win! The Hustler’s Alliance fought hard but it was Elysium that came out on top!
(Ryan is sitting there in silence, his expression showing frustration and disappointment on himself as Bronson enters the ring and then goes to hug his partner in victory, raising their hands up in the air to the support of the crowd. After the celebration, TLA slowly comes inside and then goes to help Ryan up to his feet. Bronson and Kelton turn towards the two, staring at each other for a few seconds before they end up extending their hands.)
(TLA lets out a grin and Ryan nods slowly, as they accept their hands and the two teams handshake in respect to the delight of the crowd. Ryan and TLA slowly backed away as finally, Halsey and Pandora entered themselves, clapping towards the two teams for the match. They all look at each other for a moment, Ryan and TLA nodding in respect before leaving the ring and leaving the champions and the challengers in the ring.)
(Bronson and Halsey stare each other down, the two showing serious expressions on their faces as Halsey raises her championship in the air. Meanwhile, Pandora and Kelton’s expressions soften as Pandora raises her own championship in the air, they stare each other down as they slowly speak up.)
Jon Kelton: (off-mic) I love you.
Pandora Paisley: (off-mic) I love you too… and I am sorry.
(Both teams stare each other down in silence, as it is the last shot before Showdown goes to commercials.)

Mikaela Street: Ladies and gentlemen at this time we will be announcing ALL of the Showdown participants in the Grand Rampage match!!!

Eve: Damn that lineup is insane. Definitely some interesting names in there.
Gavin Kirkland: Showdown got this match this year…
Deadprez: TLA has been looking to get a rematch at the Answers World Championship since he lost it back at Road to Redemption. This could be his ticket! TLA main evented Pain for Pride for Showdown last year but winning Grand Rampage is one of the accomplishments he has yet to achieve in his career. I have no doubt he will go all out to make it happen!
Eve: But he will have to go through his own tag team partner in the Hustler’s Alliance, Ryan Joseph Wilson, to get there! Ryan has been on the edge of breaking into the World Title picture for what feels like years now. A Grand Rampage victory would be the culmination of many years of hard work and effort put in to reach the top.
Gavin Kirkland: The same could be said about Roberto De La Rosa! He’s been a champion before but never a World Champion! It is only a matter of time before he gets there and Grand Rampage could be his night! I believe in you papi you got this!
Deadprez: Speaking of people who are champions… Cody Maverick who we will be seeing defend his title in the main event here tonight against Harper Lee, will be looking to add even more gold to his collection! Could you imagine if we end up seeing a title vs. title match in the main event of Pain for Pride? That would be one of the biggest matches in history!
Eve: Another great former champion is Miku Sakai… and she is most definitely a wild card. She seems to be on the verge of a complete mental breakdown these days but that has only made her more unpredictable and dangerous. I have no doubt she will be a force to be reckoned with in that ring and she could easily go all the way. She has been demanding a title shot but at Grand Rampage she will have to earn one!
Mikaela Street: Allow me to introduce all of the names again!
(Mikaela clears her throat.)

Eve: Here comes one of the competitors in the match. I guess we should have expected at least one of them would come out and take this opportunity to put themselves front and center. Mikaela was practically baiting these people…
Sorn: You are looking at “The Future Ace”! You are looking at the “Rising Talent”! And at Grand Rampage many people might not think that I have a chance of winning so early in my career. But to that I say you are very very wrong! You see when you are a Rising Talent of my caliber there is no need to wait. I show up on the scene here in EAW. I win all of the matches. And I prove that I am the best. From day one! Sure I have lost some matches here and there… but those were all just learning experiences to prepare me for the greatest test of my career… And last week Miku Sakai had to stoop low to find a way to defeat me. That just shows how big of a threat I truly am and everyone in the locker room who doesn’t know it soon will! The Grand Rampage will be mine!

Nikki Kimura: Now hold up just a minute there Sorn. I know that you are looking for a big win early in your career. But for me this is a moment that I have been working up to for a long time now! I was the EAW Specialists Champion and I still would be if it wasn’t for Silas Mason! But even he can’t stop me from winning the Grand Rampage! They will regret what they did to me! They will pay! They’ll all pay! But this isn’t just about revenge. This is to show that anyone who has been doubting on my motivation or my commitment to EAW that I am in this thing for the long haul! That I am a main eventer in the making and that I will cement my legacy in place by main eventing Pain for Pride!

Jadeite: Those are such beautiful words Nikki Kimura. But I fear they are all just going to fade away with time. For it is I… the Sun Goddess… who has been born to rise to the very top of EAW. It is my birthright and I shall not disrespect my people by failing to be the warrior goddess that my place in life demands of me. You may be a fine competitor Nikki Kimura and you as well Sorn. And everyone else in this match. But you are not divinity. I have been trained in multiple fighting styles since before I could walk and at the Grand Rampage I look forward to a true test of my abilities like none have provided thus far in my life. Shio Corin: Oh my bad… I’m Shio Corin… I’m new here. AND I BEEN WHOOPIN’ ASSES!
Sorn: Oh right the new guy…
Shio Corin: Don’t be hatin’ now… Tonight might be my first match in EAW… but that is all I need to show the whole world why I am the top dawg here in EAW! Cuz I got that dawg in me! Now let me lay something down for all y’all. Someone in the truck give me a beat!
Jadeite: Oh I don’t think we have to wait for someone in the truck. I can beat you right here right now!
(Suddenly Shio Corin lunges at Jadeite and tries to hit her with the microphone but she dodges it and locks him into a Sleeper Hold from behind!)
Eve: All hell has broken loose!
Deadprez: And now Sorn is charging in looking to kick Shio in the face while Jadeite is holding him-
Eve: But Shio slithers out of the Sleeper Hold just in time! And Sorn accidentally hit Jadeite with the Superkick!!!
Gavin Kirkland: But look out from behind! Nikki Kimura just blasted Sorn in the back with a steel chair! BAH GAWD EVE! ALL HELL HAS BROKEN LOOSE HERE TONIGHT!
Eve: But now Shio Corin sneaks up from behind on Nikki and goes for a low blow! But she caught him and is now chasing him backstage with the chair!
(Suddenly EAW security swarms into the arena and begins tackling all of the Grand Rampage participants.)
Deadprez: But look out Jadeite broke free! Jadeite is up on the top rope and she just took out like ten security guys with a Moonsault!
Eve: We will do our best to restore order here on Showdown but if this is what we have in store at the Grand Rampage it is going to be all kinds of chaos!

(Shio Corin holds his gold chains in one hand as he runs down quickly to the ring.)

Deadprez: Damn. Shio Corin’s trash bars were so bad that the Showdown crowd is now rooting for the Dynasty talent…
Gavin Kirkland: Traitors! I’m surrounded by traitors!
Eve: Well this should be an interesting clash of styles here tonight. These people are literally nothing alike. Who will prevail?!?!
(DING! DING! DING!)
Eve: We are underway now and I am hyped to see what these brand new wrestlers here on Showdown have to offer. Shio Corin and Achaia Ariti are circling the ring before they lock up in the middle of the ring! Shio grabs Achaia by the arm suddenly and whips her across the ring. Achaia comes back across the ring and leaps over Shio before sliding into a Sunset Flip!
Referee: ONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN-
Deadprez: Quick kickout by Shio as Achaia rolls backwards across the ring flipping over before rushing forward and grabbing the upturned legs of Shio and pushing him backwards into another pinning combo!
Referee: ONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN-
Eve: But Shio kicks out of that again! Both competitors back up as Achaia rushes in and takes down Shio with a Running Dropkick. And another as Shio gets back up! And another! Achaia goes for another cover!
Referee: ONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN-
Deadprez: Another kickout but Achaia is keeping the pressure on and keeping Shio moving with all of these kickouts to try and test his stamina. Achaia tries to take Shio into a Side Headlock but Shio dodges it! Shio runs in at Achaia and jumps up onto her shoulders! Shio then throws himself forward into a rolling pinfall grabbing the legs!
Referee: ONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN-
Gavin Kirkland: But Achaia reverses it! Achaia flips over and puts Shio on his back holding his legs instead!
Referee: ONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN-
Eve: And the kickout! So many pinfalls! The referee is getting a workout here too. Both competitors back up as they collide in the ring once more… But Shio with a sudden Dropkick to Achaia as she rushes towards him! Achaia goes flying towards the ropes and falls between them to the outside of the ring! And now what does Shio have planned?!?!
Deadprez: Shio runs the ropes and dives between them!!! SUICIDE DIVE!!!!
Eve: Shio got all of it and nearly flew out past the barricade and into the front row with the force of that Suicide Dive! But instead Achaia took all of it! Both competitors are now down on the outside!
Referee: ONE! TWO! THREE!
Deadprez: They get back up but Shio hits Achaia over the head with an overhead chop knocking her down face first over the steel steps. Shio runs in and Curb Stomps her to the stairs! No! It looks like Shio considered it but decided to not stoop that low and instead threw Achaia back into the ring. Shio picks Achaia up and slams her down before going for the cover.
Referee: ONNNNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEE-
Gavin Kirkland: Kickout by Achaia! Shio wanting to win this match and demonstrate his superior wrestling skill and not resort to dirty tac-
Eve: And a thumb to the eye by Shio to Achaia! Looks like you spoke too soon there Gavin! Shio throws Achaia out of the ring and throws her back on the ring steps! I think he changed his mind! Shio runs in for the Curb Stomp to the steel steps!-
Deadprez: But Achaia moves out of the way! Shio stomps down hard onto the steel ring steps and I think he hurt his leg there! Shio falls to the ground and Achaia runs up the steps and leaps off! Flying Elbow Drop connects to the midsection of Shio and it looks like Shio’s change of heart did not pay off for him in this instance!
Eve: Both competitors back up and Shio catches Achaia in the throat with a thumb! Achaia keels over against the apron and Shio smashes her head into the apron and tosses her back inside. Shio up on the apron but Achaia got up quickly and grabs him by the throat! Shio is thrown into the ring aggressively and goes flying across the ring landing on his side before rolling up to his feet. Achaia gets into the ring as Shio runs up on her and tries to wrestle her into a Headlock but she shoves him away. Achaia corners Shio in the corner but he dives between her legs and grabs her from behind! But Achaia stays on her feet and kicks Shio across the ring with force! Shio gets back up to his feet as Achaia grabs him by the arm and throws him down with an Arm Drag into an Armbar on the ground. But Shio rolls through it back up to his feet and headbutts Achaia hard in the nose!
Deadprez: He might have broken her nose there as I think I see some blood but it also just made her angry! Achaia is now attacking Shio with straight right hands! She sends him across the ring! And then she hoists herself up to the middle rope. Achaia off the rope with a Flying Axe Handle! But Shio gets his knee up and catches her in the gut! Achaia collapses to the mat holding her midsection as Shio positions her on the ropes. Shio across the ring with a Double Running Knee Strike pushing the neck of Achaia into the ropes! She falls to the mat but Shio picks her up and throws her backwards with a Fisherman Suplex! The cover by Shio!
Referee: ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!

Gavin Kirkland: Kickout before two! Achaia still has plenty left in the tank! I am impressed by what I have seen so far from this lovely woman!
Eve: Damn you waste no time. Hitting on her already?
Gavin Kirkland: Gotta shoot yo shot.
Deadprez: Well these wrestlers are impressive but you have to be to survive in EAW and they definitely showed up prepared. Achaia is taking a beating though as Shio kicks her and hammers her down to the mat with repeated stomps. But Achaia with a right hand as she is fighting back! But as soon as she is back up Shio comes off the ropes and hits a Running Spear into her spine from behind! Shio picks up Achaia and takes her to the corner and lifts her up to the top rope! Shio climbs up and what is he going for here? Could it be Superplex time?
Eve: It is! A Superplex connects!!! No! Achaia flipped out of it and landed on her feet! Shio turns around and a big Dropkick connects taking him down! Shio back up… But the Superkick to the face! Shio falls backwards into the corner as Achaia grabs him and kicks him in the gut. Achaia with a Suplex across the ring before pulling him up and applying an Abdominal Stretch! But Shio reaches around behind himself and tosses Achaia away. Shio collapses into the corner holding his abdomen before getting up. Achaia captures Shio into a Side Headlock before sending him across the ring. Shio suddenly knocks Achaia down with a Shoulder Block.
Deadprez: Shio goes up to the top rope! But not fast enough as Achaia in up and grabs Shio off the top and tosses him across the ring onto his back! Achaia grabs the leg of Shio and flips him over! Achaia going for an Ankle Lock! But Shio quickly grabs the bottom rope and the referee orders the break! Achaia is stalking Shio now as he gets back up…
Gavin Kirkland: OLYMPIC SLAM!!! Achaia got all of it and threw Shio down hard onto his back! The cover and this could be it!

Both competitors back up but Shio with a Running Dropkick sends Achaia out of the ring! She catches herself on the apron but Shio grabs her and Suplexes her back into the ring! No! Eve: But Shio is up to cut her off! Shio runs up the ropes and grabs Achaia! But Achaia smashes her elbow repeatedly into the side of the head of Shio! Eve: Shio Corin pulled it off! He got a win in his first ever EAW match! And that was a hard fought victory too.
Gavin Kirkland: SHOWDOWN! SHOWDOWN! SHOWDOWN!
Deadprez: Maybe he didn’t want to win it by count out but it works nonetheless. The fans definitely wanted a more definitive winner but unfortunately neither competitor would stay down for a three count!
Gavin Kirkland: I think you could argue that keeping your opponent down for a 10 count outside the ring is even more impressive than a three count in the ring.
Eve: I mean the referee was already at seven when he hit the Cypher…
Gavin Kirkland: Now let’s not get all scientific about this…
(The camera cuts to a commercial featuring music video edits of terrible wrestling being portrayed ironically as if it was actually good.)
(The camera cuts backstage to where Kyra Phillips is standing in front of a Showdown banner. She has a smile on her face and a microphone in her hand as she begins to speak.)
Kyra Phillips: What a great match between two of the new stars of Elite Answers Wrestling with Shio Corin of Showdown and Achaia Ariti of Dynasty. If they are this intense with their debut, then the best is yet to come with these two young stars
Kyra Phillips: But as we venture from debuting stars looking to start their career, in two weeks we will be heading towards one of the biggest events of the season and of course I am talking about the Grand Rampage event. Everybody knows that when you talk about the Grand Rampage event that you are also going to be talking about the namesake Grand Rampage Match. Thirty competitors entered in the match and the winner of the Grand Rampage will go onto Pain for Pride 18 and compete in the Main Event for the World Championship of their choosing
Kyra Phillips: There have been numerous Elitists in the past almost two decades who have won this prestigious match and have gone onto Pain for Pride and won a World Championship. For example, last year’s winner Jake Smith went onto Pain for Pride Kingdom and became World Champion once more.
Kyra Phillips: With that being said, earlier tonight Mikaela Street announced all of the Showdown Elitists who will be representing the blue brand as they participate in the Grand Rampage match. With me at this time is one of the participants in this year’s Grand Rampage. He is Showdown Elitist and former EAW Hardcore Champion… Roberto De La Rosa!
(Roberto De La Rosa comes into view and stands next to Kyra and we can hear the crowd giving Roberto a negative reaction. Honestly, he probably doesn’t care less what the crowd thinks of him as he turns his attention to Kyra as he starts to speak again.)
Kyra Phillips: Roberto, thank you for sparing a moment of your time for this interview. I am sure the people in the arena or watching at home are ready to hear what you have to say.
Roberto De La Rosa: Naturally they’d wanna hear what I have to say.
Kyra Phillips: Well, Roberto, since we are on the home stretch toward Pain for Pride, my first question is how would you describe your season thus far here on Showdown?
Roberto De La Rosa: Hell, Kyra, I would love to say that this season has been the best season of my EAW career, but we both know that I wouldn’t be telling the truth. Shit, I’ll just come right out and say that has kind of borderline sucked!
Kyra Phillips: Sucked? Are you sure that you aren’t being just a little hard on yourself, Roberto?
Roberto De La Rosa: Come on, Kyra. Are you telling me that you can’t take a look at my season and tell me that it has sucked.
Kyra Phillips: Well I think that mayb–
Roberto De La Rosa: Don’t finish that. It was a rhetorical question, Kyra. Last season, I was on top of the world as the Hardcore Champion. I was on top of the world when I was leading La Familia. Shit! As you can tell, Kyra, I am not exactly on top of the world right now. Hell, I am nowhere near close to the bottom. I am lucky that I am not at the bottom and drowning!
Kyra Phillips: In your opinion, when do you think that this run of bad luck started for you?
Roberto De La Rosa: I can tell you exactly when all this downturn started for me. It was at last year’s Pain for Pride. I went into Pain for Pride as the Hardcore Champion. I was feeling good. I was feeling confident that I would beat Cameron Ella Ava and leave Pain for Pride as the Hardcore Champion. As the world saw… that didn’t happen, did it?
Kyra Phillips: Unfortunately, no it didn’t. But you did have a very successful first title reign of your career and you were able to go into the next season with a fresh perspective.
Roberto De La Rosa: It’s not that easy. To bounce back from a title loss like that, you need to build some momentum to get you back in contention for some opportunities. Yeah, I had a few opportunities come my way, but where did that get me?
Kyra Phillips: Well–
Roberto De La Rosa: NOWHERE! When I was drafted to Showdown, I was looking to take La Familia to the top of Showdown and EAW as a whole. What did that end up leading to? A damn catastrophic implosion. All for the sake of getting a shot in the Extreme Elimination Chamber.
Kyra Phillips: I take it that you are talking about the match where in order to qualify for the Extreme Elimination Chamber at Road to Redemption, you had to take on your fellow members of La Familia?
Roberto De La Rosa: What else could I be talking about? In order for me to gain one opportunity, I had to sacrifice something else. Back then, I thought it was easy considering the cracks were already showing and the writing was pretty much on the wall. I did it because I thought I would walk into the Extreme Elimination Chamber at Road to Redemption and become the Answers World Champion.
Kyra Phillips: Do you believe that it was all worth it?
Roberto De La Rosa: Worth it to get a World Title shot? Absolutely! But it fucking sucked because after Road to Redemption, I had no Familia and I had no Answers World Championship around my waist. I had NOTHING! Sure I had a chance to become Hardcore Champion again, but I still left empty handed. This has just been one failure after another.
Kyra Phillips: I can understand your feeling of taking one step forward and two steps back…
Roberto De La Rosa: More like five steps back.
Kyra Phillips: That leads me to my next question. What’s left for Roberto De La Rosa? I mean… What’s next for you?
Roberto De La Rosa: Obviously, what’s next for me is the Grand Rampage match. As far as I see it, the Grand Rampage is quite possibly my last chance!
Kyra Phillips: Last chance? Are you sure that’s not being just a little bit extreme?
Roberto De La Rosa: Not at all. The Grand Rampage match is one the last major matches of the season before Pain for Pride. I only have one mission in mind and that is to win the Grand Rampage and get myself a main event World Championship match at Pain for Pride.
Kyra Phillips: That’s a very admirable dream to have and I wish you the best of luck, but what plans do you have if you happen to not win the Grand Rampage.
Roberto De La Rosa: I am not even going to be thinking about that right now.
Kyra Phillips: I can respect that, so let me change my line of questioning. Another interesting development is the fact that Silas Mason has been trying to talk with you in the hopes that you would join Silas World. Do you have any interest in joining up with Silas Mason?
Roberto De La Rosa: As persistent as the man is… at this point I am not interested in joining up with Silas Mason because I wa—
(Before Roberto could finish his sentence, he was cut off by someone yelling towards him.)
????: Dude, you are so pathetic.
(Roberto looks around wondering who said that before seconds later, he turns and sees Miku Sakai standing next to him and that elicits another negative reaction from the crowd. Miku is just standing there with an egotistical grin on her face as she looks at Roberto.)
Roberto De La Rosa: What the fuck do you want, puta?
Miku Sakai: I was over there and overheard your sob story and it was so sickening to hear you talk. You should accept the fact that you are just a loser. A sad pathetic loser with nothing going for him. You might as well start making plans now for when you lose.
Roberto De La Rosa: What the fuck are you talking about?
Miku Sakai: You have no chance in hell of winning the Grand Rampage because I am going to be the one who wins the Grand Rampage because if anybody deserves a main event title match at Pain for Pride.
Roberto De La Rosa: Yeah, ok. Sure. Whatever you think, Miku.
(Miku takes one last look at Roberto and just starts laughing at him before walking away. As Miku walks away, Roberto is getting angrier and angrier by the second.)
Roberto De La Rosa: Stupid puta. I will make her eat her words. Just you wait and see.
(The final shot shows Roberto still fuming as he looks in the direction that Miku walked off in. Meanwhile, Kyra just looks at the camera and shrugs before the camera cuts elsewhere.)
(After a brief commercial break, we have returned to the ringside area where we see Eve standing in the ring with a table setup in the center. She has a microphone in hand and a smile on her face as she begins to speak.)
Eve: Ladies and gentlemen! Welcome back to Saturday Night Showdown and what a night it has been thus far. Let me tell you that it isn’t going to end yet as we are only two weeks away from the illustrious Grand Rampage event.
Eve: Things are still heating up all around EAW as we get closer to the event with all the matches being scheduled. Of course everybody knows about the Grand Rampage match, but right now we are going to be making another match official here right now.
Eve: That match is going to be for the Answers World Championship. That match will see the Answers World Champion, Donovan Duke, defending his title against the Challenger, SOSA Henderson.
Eve: Right now, let’s bring out the competitors. Introducing first! He is the CHALLENGER! Here is SOSA HENDERSON!
(The crowd starts to cheer as “Faneto” by Chief Keef starts to play throughout the arena. Seconds later, SOSA Henderson enters the arena wearing his SOSA-style sunglasses as he heads right to the ring.)
Deadprez: SOSA has made it clear that his mission since the season began was to become World Champion. Now he finds himself one match away from accomplishing his mission and winning the second World Championship of his career.
Gavin Kirkland: He is coming off of losing the National Elite Championship to Cody Maverick. He made it clear that they will meet again. Right now, he has his eyes on a different prize.
Deadprez: This might be easy to say considering the Champion is a little nuts, but I think SOSA might have the psychological advantage after delivering the STOLE YOU BITCH to the Champion and leaving him down and out. Let’s see how this goes.
(SOSA enters the ring and takes his sunglasses off before taking a seat on one side of the table as his entrance music fades off. SOSA looks at Eve and gives her a nod as Eve starts to speak again.)
Eve: Thank you, SOSA. Now let’s bring out the CHAMPION! Representing Silas World. He is the reigning Answers World Champion! DONOVAN DUKE!
(Whatever positive reaction that was around for SOSA is completely gone as “Enemy” by From Ashes to New starts playing. Seconds later, the boos and jeers are as loud as can be as the Answers World Champion Donovan Duke enters the arena. Naturally, next to Donovan is the infamous Silas Mason. Donovan is once again dressed to the nines wearing a designer suit and designer shades of his own as the Answers World Championship is around his waist. Silas steps in front of Donovan and leads the Champion to the ring.)
Gavin Kirkland: I guess we shouldn’t be surprised that Donovan isn’t coming alone as Silas Mason leads him to the ring. While he might look poised and calm right now, there is no doubt that Donovan is seething on the inside from what SOSA did.
Deadprez: This demented and crazy nutcase brought it upon himself when he told SOSA Henderson to get in line and wait your turn to earn a title match. Well… SOSA’s at the front of the line now and there’s nothing Donovan can do about it.
Gavin Kirkland: The last time these two went one on one, SOSA was the winner. Donovan is going to make sure that it doesn’t happen twice.
(Donovan and Silas reach the ring as Silas opens the ropes for the Champion. Donovan and Silas enter the ring as Donovan takes off his title and puts it on his shoulder before he takes his seat with Silas standing behind him as Donovan’s entrance music fades off.)
Eve: Thank you for joining us Donovan… and Silas… but we have you two here right now for you both to sign the official contract for your match at Grand Rampage. How about we get things started with the Challenger. SOSA, do you have a few things to say?
(SOSA stares at Donovan, who has not taken his shades off, but we can tell what Donovan is thinking. SOSA gives a smirk to the champion before picking up his microphone and he starts to speak.)
SOSA Henderson: I have plenty to say, Eve. Hey, Donny. How did it feel getting your ass laid out last week on the stage by me? I guess I found a way to get to the front of the line after all.
(Donovan looks to get up from his chair, but Silas grabs his shoulders and tries to calm the hot tempered Champion down. All SOSA can do is smirk as he continues talking.)
SOSA Henderson: Damn! I hit a sore spot, didn’t I? You didn’t like being attacked from behind even though you have been doing a lot of that yourself the last few months. Either way. At Grand Rampage, it’s going to be you… against me… for that pretty little championship that you have on your shoulder right now.
SOSA Henderson: Donny, you better hold that title as closely and as much as you possibly can because after Grand Rampage, you are going to have an empty feeling that matches the empty feeling in your head because I am taking that title away from you, you demented bastard.
SOSA Henderson: I said at the beginning of the season that I was going to become World Champion again and that’s exactly what I am going to do at Grand Rampage… AT YOUR EXPENSE!! Then again, you are used to that considering what happened at Midsummer Massacre. Your days are numbered with that title, Duke, and you know it.
(SOSA puts his microphone back on the table and shoots another shit eating smirk to Donovan, who looks like he’s about to go ballistic.)
Eve: Thank you, SOSA. Donovan, would you care to respond?
(Donovan takes his sunglasses off and he hands them to Silas as he glares at SOSA. Donovan grabs his microphone and begins to speak.)
Donovan Duke: Yes, I would care to respond.
Crowd: BOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Donovan Duke: You idiots have to do this every week, don’t you? You don’t like what I have to say so you tune me out. Bunch of jackasses.
Crowd: BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Donovan Duke: Enough of that shit. My first question is why in the hell would you give SOSA Henderson a microphone because nobody gives a damn about what he has to say. Either way, congratulations SOSA. It looks like you got what you wanted anyway.
Donovan Duke: That seems to be a common theme around here lately. The upper management finds me challengers that have done NOTHING to show that they have earned an Answers World Championship match.
Donovan Duke: You are just the next lucky bastard of the week because the higher ups of Showdown want the Answers World Championship off of me so badly that they forgo the standard methods of finding contenders and just find anybody who has an issue against their champion.
Donovan Duke: You think that taking me out last week means a fucking thing? IT DOESN’T! Attacking me doesn’t make you a viable contender for my title no matter how much you believe that you are going to be World Champion again.
Donovan Duke: All you are going to be is my next victim. Those dreams you have? They are going to be crushed. Along with your spirit. Along with your body. You step up to me… and I am going to break you apart.
(Donovan puts the microphone back on the table as he looks confident towards his challenger as Eve begins to speak again.)
Eve: Thank you, Donovan. Right now, it’s time to officially sign the contract. Donovan. As the Champion, you will sign first.
(Eve slides the portfolio that holds the contract over to Donovan. Eve offers Donovan a pen, but he waves her off and pulls out a pen of his own from his blazer pocket. Donovan hands the contract to Silas for him to read. Silas reads the contract and nods his approval as Donovan signs the contract and slides the contract to SOSA.)
Eve: SOSA. Would you please sign the contract?
(SOSA takes the pen offered from Eve and he reads the contract before signing it himself before handing the pen and the contract to Eve.)
Eve: Thank you, gentlemen. It’s now official. It will be Donovan Duke defending the Answers World Championship against SOSA Henderson at Grand Rampage.
(Both SOSA and Donovan stand up from their chairs and glare at each other from across the table.)
Gavin Kirkland: Well there you have it. This match is going to happen at Grand Rampage where–
(Before Gavin could finish, we see Silas coming up from behind AND CLOCKING SOSA IN THE BACK OF THE HEAD!!)
Deadprez: OH, COME ON! SILAS MASON AGAIN FROM BEHIND WITH THE ANSWERS WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP BELT CLOCKING SOSA IN THE BACK OF THE HEAD!
Gavin Kirkland: Donovan shoves the table away as Eve wisely gets out of the ring and he is punching SOSA in the face.
Deadprez: BUT SOSA IS FIGHTING BACK! HE IS THROWING RIGHT HANDS TO BACK THE CHAMPION UP TOWARDS THE ROPES–
Gavin Kirkland: LOW BLOW! DUKE WITH A KICK RIGHT BELOW THE BELT AND THAT CERTAINLY TAKES THE WIND OUT OF SOSA’S SAIL!
Deadprez: SOSA was doubled over as Donovan grabs him by the waist and lifts him over his shoulder. Donovan has hold of SOSA’s neck AND HE DROPS DOWN WITH THE “SUPREME VERDICT”! THE WIDOW’S PEAK TAKES SOSA DOWN AND OUT!
(Donovan gets back to his feet as he stands over SOSA. Silas comes over and hands Donovan the Answers World Championship as Donovan raises the title in the air as the crowd loudly boos once again.
Gavin Kirkland: Last week, SOSA stood tall over Donovan. This week, it’s Donovan who stands tall. Oh, what a fight this is going to be with the title on the line.
Deadprez: This is going to be a hell of a match for the Answers World Championship on the line. SOSA Henderson. Donovan Duke. These two are going to beat the shit out of each other. The question is will SOSA get his second World Title reign or will the Era of Duke continue on. We will see at Grand Rampage.
(The final shot shows Donovan still standing tall while raising the Answers World Championship in the air as the crowd boos him and Silas out of the building as the camera fades elsewhere…)
(“Genie in a Bottle” by Christina Aguilera hits, transitioning into “Bad Blood” by Taylor Swift as Grace De Luca struts onto the stage, a grin plastered across her face. With Auburn following beside her, focused and ready to go.)
Gina Romano: Making their way to the ring… the team of AUBURN WARE and GRACE DE LUCA!
(“Vroom” by Hoodie Allen & Connor Price hits, immediately blending into “Oro de Ley” by Luis Miguel as Nikki Kimura and Jadeite step onto the stage, moving down the ramp on the same page, ready to win the match.)
Gina Romano: And their opponents… the team of NIKKI KIMURA and JADEITE!

Gavin Kirkland: There is the bell and this should be an interesting match up, Jadeite and Nikki Kimura taking on the team of Auburn Ware and Grace De Luca. Auburn, Jadeita, and Nikki Kimura are of course really capable combatants. Grace is a very noticeable outlier in this match. I mean look, she is even trying to talk her way out of starting this match off!
Grace De Luca: (off mic) I don’t want to start this off, why can’t you just start and I’ll support you from the apron? Every team needs someone supporting them.
Auburn Ware: (off mic) Fine, but please be ready when I want to tag in.
Grace De Luca: (off mic) Of course.
Eve: Guess it worked, Auburn is starting things off for her team, while Nikki Kimura is starting things off for her team. Kimura, a former Specialist Champion, has key experience in this match to help her team. Though we know Ware isn’t going to lag behind.
Deadprez: Kimura and Ware starting off circling each other, Nikki creeping forward and Auburn isn’t backing down! Both in a lockup, jocking in position trying to see who is strong enough to take control first! It seems like Kimura got the upper hand. Kimura manages to push Auburn back just a bit, using her leverage to force her down to a knee but Auburn powers through, twisting out and slipping behind Kimura into a waist lock! She’s got control, but Nikki isn’t staying put- she throws an elbow back! Auburn ducks it, still maintaining her grip!
Eve: Auburn transitions into a tight side headlock, wrenching down on Kimura’s neck! Nikki plants her feet AND LIFTS AUBURN OFF HER FEET FOR A BACK SUPLEX- NO! Auburn flips through, landing on her feet behind Nikki!

Eve: I can’t believe this! Grace managed to get a victory here tonight! Grace is beside herself but the crowd isn’t really behind her.
(Grace De Luca’s music blares, she jumps up and down with excitement, her arms raised high in triumph. Auburn Ware, however, is far less enthusiastic. She picks herself up, looking over at Grace with reluctant satisfaction. She didn’t like how this match played out, but a win was a win. )
( Auburn steps toward Grace, who eagerly grabs her arm and yanks it into the air, forcing her to partake in the celebration. Auburn half-heartedly raises her other fist, nodding to the crowd with a tight-lipped expression, while Grace beams like she just won a championship. Then-)

Gavin Kirkland: DAMN! GRACE JUST HIT AUBURN WITH THE BITTERSWEET MUSIC!
( Auburn crumples to the mat, her body going limp as the crowd erupts into boos. Grace stands back up and throws her arms wide, taunting the audience as they rain jeers down on her.)
Grace De Luca: (off mic) I don’t need a partner, I need a spotlight!
(In an instant, Nikki turns and bolts out of the ring! The crowd roars as Nikki lunges forward, nearly grabbing her, but Grace drops to the floor and stumbles backward up the ramp.)
(Nikki stands at the ropes, glaring daggers at Grace, who backs up the stage with her hands raised in surrender.)
Grace De Luca: (off mic) No hard feelings, right? Just business!
(Grace, seeing no reason to linger, starts laughing as she turns on her heel, walks up the stage.)
(Back in the ring, Nikki finally turns her attention to Auburn, who is still down, groaning as she holds her jaw, slowly sitting up. Nikki kneels beside her, checking on her condition. The scene fades on Auburn, slowly regaining her senses, blinks up at Nikki in confusion.)
(After the commercial break, the camera shot returns to the arena where there is a brief moment of silence in between all the Showdown action, but the silence is quickly taken away as the sounds of ‘Don’t’ by Azumi Takahashi and Lotus juice starts to play throughout the arena. Seconds later, the crowd is on their feet and going absolutely crazy for the entrance of the one and only Milli Banks. She has a smile on her face from hearing the crowd’s reaction as she heads to the ring.)
Gina Romano: Ladies and gentlemen! Please welcome to the ring at this time… she is “THE UNIVERSE” MILLLLLLLLLLLLI BAAAAAAAAANKSSSSSSSSS!
Deadprez: Listen to the ovation for the former Universal Women’s Champion, Milli Banks. After watching her match at Shock Value, I wasn’t sure if or when we would see Milli Banks back in an Elite Answers Wrestling ring again. The beating she took was so brutal that I am not sure if there are words to describe it.
Gavin Kirkland: I am so glad the beautiful Milli Banks is back on Showdown. Last week, we had to watch that horrible funeral that Silas World did for Milli. But she wouldn’t be gone long after she made her presence felt last week after the match her bestie Veena Adams had against the Answers World Champion, Donovan Duke.
Eve: The beatdown Milli received at Shock Value might not have been received by Silas World, but she has had a few thanks to them and she is still making her presence felt in the war against Silas World. Right now, let’s hear what the lovely Milli Banks has to say.
(Milli walks by the timekeeper’s area and grabs a microphone from Gina Romano before entering the ring. Milli’s entrance music has faded off but she takes a moment to listen to the crowd and absorb all of their positivity before the crowd silences and Milli begins to speak.)
Milli Banks: First of all, I want to say thank you so much to all the fans in this arena right now and the fans watching at home for all the love and appreciation you have shown me. It means the absolute world to me.
(The crowd starts cheering even louder after hearing Milli thank all of them. The crowd loves Milli as much as she loves them.)
Milli Banks: I want to now talk about the gigantic elephant in the room and that is the fact that I no longer am wearing Championship gold, and I am sadly no longer the Universal Women’s Champion.
(Now the crowd starts booing because they loved having Milli be the Universal Women’s Champion.)
Milli Banks: Now now. I enjoyed it as much as you did, but all good things must come to an end. The match I had against Bea Valentine was a hell of a war at Shock Value and nobody can say that I didn’t give all my heart in that match. I take pride in knowing that I went down fighting.
Milli Banks: I can also say that I take pride in knowing that nobody is going to forget my reign considering that I have the LONGEST REIGN IN EAW HISTORY!! That is something to definitely be proud of.
Milli Banks: But that doesn’t mean that I am done with gold. Because I am NEVER going to quit, and I am going to be a World Champion again. This time there is no going to be a damn thing that anybody is going to do to be able to stop me.
Milli Banks: Speaking of stopping… the last few months there has been something that has needed to be stopped, and you all know that I am talking about Silas World. That’s right. Everybody here knows as well as I do that the last thing we need is for Silas World to take over Showdown. Not with all the hard work that people like myself, Bronson, Kelton, my girl Veena, and many others have put in to make this brand the WRESTLING BRAND!
Milli Banks: If Silas World thinks they can try and take me out like they have been trying for the last few months… well then they have another thing coming because it’s going to take a hell of a lot more than that to get rid of me because I AM STILL ALIVE!!!
(The crowd is going absolutely crazy for all of Milli’s intensity, but all that cheering is immediately cut off when we hear the sounds of ‘Another World’ by Gojira starting to play throughout the arena. The crowd immediately starts to boo as loud as they can because they know who this music belongs to… SILAS WORLD! But it isn’t all of Silas World as Harper Lee is the first to enter the arena. Closely after Harper, we see the Specialists Champion Brianna Hill quickly following. Brianna and Harper look at each other before nodding and just glaring down the entrance ramp.)
Gavin Kirkland: Oh goody. The party poopers are here. What in the world could they want with Milli right now? Are they here to cause more trouble because I highly doubt they are here to grace us with their presence… no matter how hot they are.
Eve: Oh, the last thing you need to do is give these two… I know what I want to call them, but standards and practices won’t let me… any sort of compliment. That’s the last thing either of them need for all the chaos they and the rest of Silas World have caused.
(The camera quickly cuts up to the rafters where we can see Voltage’s Selina Reyes watching everything unfold, her eyes deadest on the Specialist Champion, Brianna Hill.)
Deadprez: Well that is an interesting development right there as we see Voltage’s Selina Reyes up in the rafters. We can only wonder what Selina wants. We can assume all we want, but that’s going to be for another time. Right now, one thing we don’t have to assume is that Brianna and Harper have something to say.
(The camera cuts back to the top of the entrance ramp where we see that Brianna and Harper now have microphones. The crowd is still booing them out of the building as their music has faded off. Harper and Brianna roll their eyes at the crowd’s reaction… classifying them all as stupid. They could care less about the crowd as they start to speak.)
Harper Lee: Brianna, isn’t this just the most precious thing you have ever seen?
Brianna Hill: Oh, Harper, it just warms my heart looking down at the ring and seeing Milli Banks standing there showing how strong and tenacious she is to fight the “good fight” against Silas World.
Harper Lee: She might be showing a lot of heart, Brianna, but she certainly isn’t showing a lot of brains after listening to her talk.
Brianna Hill: Absolutely. Can you tell us why that is, Harper?
Harper Lee: I would be glad to. You see, Milli is down in the ring acting like she is at 100 percent, when in reality, we all know she is far from it. First she had to fight at Reasonable Doubt where she got the snot beat out of her. Then she lost her title at Shock Value when once again she got the snot beat out of her. We can only wonder what the doctors have said to her.
Brianna Hill: Probably nothing good.
Harper Lee: We can only hope for nothing good because I am going to tell you what you should have done….
(Brianna and Harper smile as they walk down the entrance ramp.)
Harper Lee: You should have been smart, Milli. You should have been smart enough to realize that after all the beatdowns you have received in the last few months, you should have taken the rest of the season off to recover.
Brianna Hill: Instead of going away to recover, you are standing in this ring ready to fight whenever needed, when the truth of the matter is that you are of absolutely NO USE to your little “allies” right now. You are a liability and that is putting it kindly.
Harper Lee: Let me ask you a question, Milli.
(Brianna and Harper slide into the ring and now surround Milli. Milli is keeping her eyes going in both directions to watch out for any sneak attack that might come about.)

Eve: You are a pervert!! But give credit to the former Universal Women’s Champion for fighting off the numbers disadvantage. There is the fight that Milli Banks is known for.
(As Milli is fighting off Brianna and Harper, the camera cuts to the entrance ramp where we see Ronan Malosi running to help his Silas World comrades.)

Deadprez: It’s that numbers game that Silas World has grown quite fond of and here comes Ronan sliding into the ring AND HE JUST CLOBBERS MILLI BANKS WITH A HUGE BOOT TO THE FACE!
Eve: Milli goes down and now we see the numbers game becoming too much for Milli Banks. As great as Milli is, even she can’t fight off a three on one assault. Silas World is just beating the holy hell out of Milli Banks. Will this be another statement by Silas World?
(As Silas World looks to finish Milli off again, we hear the crowd starting to cheer wildly.)

Eve: THE SPECIALISTS CHAMPION ROLLS OUT OF THE RING AND HERE COMES HARPER WITH A RIGHT HAND THAT VEENA EASILY RETURNS AND THESE TWO ARE JUST SLUGGING IT OUT AS RONAN COMES INTO TRY AND HELP HARPER—
Deadprez: MILLI COMES BACK IN AND TAKES RONAN DOWN WITH A KICK TO THE KNEE BEFORE A DROPKICK TO THE FACE! NOW MILLI GOES TO HELP VEENA AS THEY NOW DOUBLE TEAM HARPER!
Gavin Kirkland: Turnabout is fair play as Veena and Milli get Harper to the ropes BEFORE DELIVERING A DOUBLE DROPKICK SENDING HARPER OVER THE TOP ROPE AND TO THE FLOOR!
Eve: That leaves Ronan alone in the ring with Veena and Milli. Ronan is slowly recovering as Veena crouches down!! VEENA IS LOOKING FOR ANOTHER SPEAR–
Deadprez: DAMN! HARPER AND BRIANNA PULL RONAN OUT OF THE RING AND OUT OF HARM’S WAY!
(The crowd boos that Ronan was able to get away before he was speared. Silas World starts to leave ringside as the crowd now cheers that Milli and Veena are standing tall.)
Gavin Kirkland: Well, there you have it! Maybe this is a sign of things to come.
Eve: I certainly hope so. We need to start turning things in our favor against Silas World.
Deadprez: We can certainly hope so. Especially as we head towards King of Elite where it will be Harper Lee and Ronan Malosi taking on Veena Adams and a partner of her choosing. What a fight that is gonna be.
(The final shot shows Veena and Milli raising their arms in solidarity before cutting to Silas World, who are heading up the entrance ramp angry that their plans got thwarted as the camera cuts to an ad for Grand Rampage.)
(As the ad ends, Alana Starr is in the ring. She looks beautiful as ever and has been very busy with Showdown the last few weeks.)
Deadprez: Alana has had to take the helms of this show because of what happened to Kennedy Street, but we both know that Silas Mason has been waiting for this moment for quite some time.
Eve: We saw Silas wanting an answer and now she is ready to give him one. The question will be is it the one that he is indeed looking for?
Gavin Kirkland: Well, whatever she does will not change how beautiful she looks. And we are ready for anything!
(Alana walks around the ring for a moment before she finally stops, with a mic in hand to address the fans who cheer.)
Alana Starr: It feels GOOD to be in Ireland and I am actually feeling a little lucky tonight!
(The crowd continues to cheer.)
Alana Starr: But in all seriousness, it has been a rough few weeks for me as I have tried to fill Kennie’s shoes and though her feet are bigger than mine, I think I have done a pretty good job so far. When she went down, that really left a hole in Showdown, and it was uncalled for. But I feel like when it comes to the EAW, that a lot of its fans may not always pay too much attention to what is going on outside of this company and to be fair why should they, this is the best in the world!
Crowd: EAW!!!! EAW!!!! EAW!!!! EAW!!!! EAW!!!! EAW!!!!
Alana Starr: But when it comes to Silas Mason…
(The crowd interrupts her with the sound of his name and start to boo loudly.)

Alana Starr: I guess you don’t like him, and let’s be honest, Silas is a man with little scruples. He was a shady businessman then, and he is now, but the one thing that I will give Silas is this…. He does make wrestlers into champions. He is in the progress of doing that now, and when I first started as a wrestler it was following in my father’s footsteps as he made his career as a luchador in Mexico. Alana Starr was the name I made as a professional wrestler, but Alyssa Estrella was the name given to me at birth and Silas Mason knew my father, Carlos Estrella, the former Chicky Starr. He managed my father, and it was brought down to me while he also managed wrestlers in the Street Legacy with is pride and joy, perfection herself, Kelcey Wallace.
(A lot of fans cheer at the name Kelcey Wallace who was from the United Kingdom and started in Scotland. A local hero in the 2000’s.)
Alana Starr: But one thing that Silas Mason has never known is limits, and that is why he calls his stable, The World. And like Agamemnon even he must realize that he cannot take over the EAW and the World.
(The crowd cheers at that.)
Alana Starr: But I also find myself having a weird relationship with Silas out of respect for what he did to my family, especially my dad. And so, he gave me an alternative, and right now as the acting Showdown General Manager, I feel like he is owed, and answer and it is something that I have needed time to think about and so I have come to my conclusion. (Before she can even finish though “Another World” by Gojira starts to play throughout the arena, the fans stand up and boo. Silas Mason walks out by himself.)

Gavin Kirkland: We’ve heard a lot from these two in recent weeks, exchanging words that have definitely brought some heat! We’re talking about two of the best mouthpieces around here, and now they’re about to step into the same ring to fight each other. We’re about to find out whose words carry more weight when it comes to winning themselves a championship!
Eve: That’s where it’s going to pay off. Harper Lee has also made her case as strongly as possible, aiming to outweigh anything that Cody Maverick brings to the table. But will all of that be too much for Cody to handle? We’ll just have to see it through to the end to find out!
Deadprez: Man, these two have been talking crazy but Harper especially! I think she’s been talking the craziest, considering all the trash she’s directed at people she doesn’t like or has faced before. Cody has taken a lot of verbal shots this week, but he won’t back down!
(Harper Lee enters the ring, positioning herself in her corner as the members of Silas World surround her outside, standing and waiting then ‘Kostas’ by Westside Gunn, Conway the Machine & Benny the Butcher hits the PA system as Cody Maverick walks straight to the ring, carrying the National Elite Championship in his right hand, looking focused and ready to handle business, greeted by a huge pop from the crowd. Lee watches him with a disgusted expression on her face, while Cody smiles back confidently, knowing he’s about to beat her clean. Cody steps through the ropes into the ring, hands the title to the referee, and prepares himself for the match.)

Gavin Kirkland: Cody Maverick enters this match tonight carrying a chip on his shoulder, because he’s facing none other than Harper Lee, who is certainly going to deliver plenty of damage but Cody will do everything he can to showcase his abilities and bring the title back home!
Eve: Cody also made a strong case against Harper Lee this week, but that’s exactly what makes their verbal exchanges stand out with the interactions between these two have been really entertaining.
Deadprez: Cody is also going crazy! This man is such a deserving champion for all the hard work he’s done and everything he’s been through to reach this point. We’re all proud to see him here! So inspiring!

Gavin Kirkland: Cody Maverick is starting his National Elite Championship defense this week against Harper Lee, and it begins now here in our main event. It’s going to be pretty tough for Maverick to handle, you have to admit, because the Silas World elitists surrounding him are sure to cause him some trouble!
Deadprez: Harper Lee has the advantage here, that’s for sure, but we don’t doubt what our National Elite Champion can do in this situation when he’s being pushed back! Lee and Maverick come tackling each other down towards the center of the ring, both immediately trying to push one another back using their own strength and force!
Eve: Things are taking a quick turn as Harper Lee is the one to send Maverick rolling over her with a quick armdrag. Maverick quickly rolls back to his feet, but Lee turns around and the champion is taken down as he charges toward her, only to be met with another perfectly executed armdrag by Lee!
Gavin Kirkland: Lee has been doing great, and Silas World seems to be quite satisfied with the outcome of her work so far against the champion. Maverick falls near the ropes as Lee approaches and tries to send him across!
Deadprez: Maverick switches it up, taking Harper on the trip and sending her flying to the opposite side of the ring with an Irish Whip!
Eve: Lee flies back toward him and looks to jump over Maverick with a Running Crossbody, but Maverick catches her with both hands, clutching her small body and DRIVES HER TO THE GROUND WITH A TILT-A-WHIRL POWERSLAM!!!!
Gavin Kirkland: Things aren’t looking so great for her anymore as they’re taking a turn against her pretty quickly! Lee tries to scramble to her feet after being taken down with the Bodyslam counter, with the added wind pressure giving extra offense to the move.
Deadprez: Maverick picks her up and quickly Knife Edge chops her, causing Lee to stumble into the corner. She leans back against the corner, and Maverick sees an opening… he goes for another Knife Edge chop, but misses as Lee is able to avoid the second Knife Edge chop that was supposed to hit her!
Eve: Missed the attack, but Cody isn’t letting his attention stray as Lee moves out of the corner, running towards him to strike. However, Cody counters with a boot, sending Lee stumbling back toward the center of the ring quickly! Maverick climbs to the second rope, and here he comes!…
Cody Maverick: (Off-Mic) CO-DY MAV-
Deadprez: Aw come on! Not this guy!
Gavin Kirkland: Silas Mason! He quickly hops up to the apron, trying to distract and taunt Cody. Cody jumps and attempts to knock him off, but Silas manages to avoid the punch and stays out of trouble!
Eve: Maverick turns around, but Lee still tries to attack. However, he’s able to knock her back with a back elbow! Maverick turns and builds some momentum with a spin toward Lee, looking for the Discus Punch!
Deadprez: The punch comes at her face, but that approach won’t work as Lee leaps toward him, sending the champion rolling to the ground with a Victory Roll… INTO THE JUMPING DOUBLE FOOT STOMP STRIKING HIS ABDOMEN WITH AN OFFENSIVE ATTACK!!!!
Gavin Kirkland: Great move struck at the champion by the Venom of the Silas World, as she’s just recently been graced with that name by the majority! Lee pushes herself off the ground, looking to make progress in bringing the gold back to the team, while closely watching the champion!
Eve: Now Lee rolls forward with both knees folded and plants them right onto Maverick’s stomach in a Rolling Double Knee Drop style, then quickly gets back to her feet….ROLLING DOUBLE KNEE DROP INTO BOUNCES BACK INTO THE BEAUTIFUL MOONSAULT DOUBLE KNEE DROP, LANDING ON THE SAME SPOT AS SHE JUST EXECUTED THE INSULT TO INJURY ON CODY MAVERICK!!!!!!
Deadprez: Lee isn’t just getting tactical, but also showing what she’s capable of against her opponent. However, there’s still more punishment to be dealt, and she knows it won’t be over until Cody hands her the championship she’s determined to bring back to Silas World and keep within her own belief.
Gavin Kirkland: Lee is now seen near the corner, retreating step by step, making her way to the top. She looks down at Maverick, who’s still down on the ground. Standing by, Lee is preparing to fly off again.… DIVING DOUBLE FOOT STOMP ON CODY!!!!!!! Maverick has taken a huge toll from the diving double foot stomp as Lee rolls him over for the cover!

Gavin Kirkland: MAVERICK KICKS OUT AT TWO!!!!! All of that won’t be enough to put down Cody Maverick. We’ve seen what this man has been through in the past with the chip he’s carrying on his shoulder, and it will take more than just those two previous moves to truly beat him!
Eve: Lee probably knows that in her mind, considering how much Cody Maverick is able to get out of those situations. He’s locking in for the win, aiming to add the championship to his accolades, making Silas World even more threatening than before.
Deadprez: Lee now drags Cody up to both knees and tosses him to lean against the middle rope, leaving him hanging there. Lee is seen hopping outside of the ring as Silas World clears the way for their Venom to make her next move.
Gavin Kirkland: Lee stands on the apron while Cody’s head hangs through the ropes near the apron. She runs and leaps… WITH THE SLIDING ENZUIGIRI TO THE ROPE HUNG CHAMPION WITH THE KICK BLASTING THE SIDE OF MAVERICK’S HEAD!!!! Just one slip caused by Silas World, and it has done this much. How is Cody going to be able to walk back home alongside the champion?
Deadprez: Now Cody may be down, and we are watching Harper Lee drag him underneath the bottom rope to the outside of the ring… BEFORE PUSHING HIM CAUSING HIS SPINE TO COLLIDE WITH THE FRONT ROW BARRICADE!!!!
Eve: That might have just done quite the damage for Cody Maverick to handle, but Lee isn’t done yet before pulling him out of there… JUST TO PUSH HIM BACK CAUSING CODY’S SPINE TO ENDURE EVEN MORE PAIN FROM THE CRUSHING IMPACT!!!!
Gavin Kirkland: It’s not a good look for the champion so far and the challenger has been doing incredibly well in taking the fight to him! Lee leaves Cody down for a moment and quickly hops onto the apron, glancing back at Maverick, who’s still clutching his back in pain!
Deadprez: Referee inside the ring is trying to count, but here comes Ronan Malosi, distracting the referee and preventing any count outs. Now Lee is preparing to fly off the apron, just as Maverick begins to make a comeback!…. CANNONBALL SENTON OFF THE APRON WIPES CODY OUT!!!!!
Eve: Lee decides to take a big risk here and for what it’s worth, it truly pays off. Now Maverick has been picked up and sent back into the ring. Harper rolls in right after to follow up, not wasting time going for the pinfall and looking to secure the three count and the win!

Gavin Kirkland: At this point, we don’t need any more reminders of what’s coming next because it’s already clear as day that it takes a lot more than that to take out Cody!
Deadprez: Lee pushes herself off the ground, clearly getting a little annoyed with the situation but her eyes show she’s fully focused on taking out Cody, no matter how long it takes to get the job done. Lee grabs Maverick with both hands, clutching his head, and drives her iron skull into his forehead with a brutal headbutt!
Eve: Maverick stumbles toward the ropes, and Lee is already stationed there, immediately knocking his teeth down his throat with a Bicycle Kick as soon as he rebounds!
Gavin Kirkland: The champion is seen staggering at the center of the ring as Lee throws herself toward the ropes, looking to drive a Running Knee Lift right into Cody’s face!
Deadprez: But Maverick pops her up into the air, catching her on his shoulder… POWERBOMB!!!!!! CODY COUNTERS THE KNEE LIFT AND TURNS IT IN HIS FAVOR WITH A DEVASTATING POWERBOMB!!!!! MAVERICK FOLDS HER INTO A COVER!!!!!

Eve: Maverick shakes his head with his eyes burning to show he’s fully committed to taking down his challenger and earning his first title defense. Maverick now moves behind Harper Lee, grabbing both of her legs and pulling her up into the wheelbarrow position!
Gavin Kirkland: He’s getting ready to send her flying with a German Suplex once he gets back to his feet!- BUT OH! LEE LANDS ON HER FEET!
Deadprez: She’s almost stumbling, not fully stabilized in her position after that recent attack from Cody! Maverick turns around and sees she’s still on her feet, though wobbly, trying to seize the opportunity against her by going for the clothesline!
Gavin Kirkland: Lee ducks under it, spins around, and nearly takes Cody’s head off with a Roundhouse Kick! Maverick is stunned by the blow and drops to both knees. Lee stumbles back to the ropes, rebounds, and comes charging in… LOOKING TO FOLLOW UP WITH A PENALTY KICK IN PERFECT SEQUENCE!!!!
Eve: SCOOP SLAM BY CODY!!!! Cody isn’t backing down easily, and he proves it by taking Harper Lee down with a Scoop Slam that stops her in her tracks and slams her hard onto the mat! Maverick quickly hooks the leg after the Scoop Slam!

Eve: AND TWOOOO!!!!! CODY KICKS OUT!!!!! Maverick is executing his short game plan perfectly against Harper Lee, but it won’t be so easy for Cody to deal with her after everything he’s already endured.
Deadprez: Now, Cody slowly picks himself up from the mat and begins walking toward Lee, who he just took down. He starts pulling her back to her feet… now carrying her across his shoulders. Cody may be looking for the Rolling Fireman’s Carry Slam to send Lee crashing back to the mat once again as he starts to run!
Gavin Kirkland: Lee is able to struggle off his shoulders and lands behind him, causing Maverick to miss the brakes and crash into the turnbuckles! Lee, now on her knees, rises back to her feet and quickly charges toward Maverick just as he turns around looking for the Running Meteora to press the champion into the corner!
Eve: But she gets caught again as Cody Maverick absorbs the impact of the knees to his chest and uses both hands to lift Lee up… AND MAVERICK JUST FLIPS LEE OVER HIS HEAD, SENDING HER CRASHING UPSIDE DOWN INTO THE TURNBUCKLES WITH A BACK BODY DROP!!!!!!
Deadprez: WOAH! I’ve never seen anyone use a Back Body Drop like that before! Did Cody even realize how far he went just to put his challenger down right there?!
Gavin Kirkland: I don’t think that’s Cody’s concern right now, as Lee’s back is immediately hurting from that brutal spot and Cody’s only looking to make the pain worse. Maverick charges toward her, hooks her from the ground, rolls to the side, and then brings her right back up to her feet, rising with her and setting her up for what’s next!.. FISHERMAN’S BUSTER PLANTS LEE!!!!!!!!! CODY HOOKS THE LEG!!!!!

Gavin Kirkland: AND LEE STILL ABLE TO KICK OUT!!!! Seems like Cody came well-prepared for this match pushing through the situation and beating her down!
Eve: Maverick is seen staggering his way toward the nearby corner, but he needs to stay alert; there are some Silas World members lurking nearby, ready to shut down his chances at any moment. Maverick’s right hand is charging up!
Deadprez: He sees only Harper Lee as his prey here, and the Sin City Superstar is about to make his move!-
Gavin Kirkland: NOT AGAIN! SILAS WORLD!
Eve: But this time, it’s both Donovan Duke and Brianna Hill hopping up onto the apron, trying to cause a distraction! The referee quickly turns away from Harper Lee and tries to get them down-
Deadprez: Wait a second… that’s Ronan Malosi! Cody, don’t turn around!… DEATH RO!!!!
Gavin Kirkland: Cody is able to knock Ronan back with a back elbow just in time to stop the interference from happening! Ronan stumbles but charges right back at Cody, trying to take him down with a big clothesline!
Eve: But Maverick moves and opens the ropes, causing Ronan to fall to the outside, landing right alongside Donovan and Brianna Hill!
Deadprez: Maverick quickly spots the opportunity to clear the path and hops onto the apron, aiming at the Silas World members. What is he thinking here?! What the hell…
Gavin Kirkland: OH MY GOD!!!!!!! PLEASE DON’T DIE!!!!!!! Springboard Moonsault to the outside taking down all three members of Silas World! Silas Mason can’t believe what the National Elite Champion just did!
Eve: SINGLE LEG DROPKICK TAKES CODY DOWN TO HIS KNEE!!! Maverick is about to run, but Lee ducks under and takes him down from behind, sending his face crashing to the mat! Lee quickly rolls back to her feet and charges toward him to make her next move!… AND LEE PLANTS HIM WITH SUNSET FLIP POWERBOMB!!!! AND A COVER ON CODY!!!!! WE ABOUT TO CROWN THE NEW CHAMP!!!!

Deadprez: And as soon as Harper Lee kicks out, Silas Mason who’s free to roam, jumps onto the apron and tries to get into the ring! Oh, come on! Cody hasn’t even moved! What is Silas trying to do?!
Gavin Kirkland: Oh, here comes the support from the side! Look at the crowd reacting to them… THE HUSTLE ALLIANCE! They’re making their move, and Silas World knows firsthand that they’re coming after him!
Eve: Silas quickly hops off the apron and takes off running, leaping over the barricade! The Hustle Alliance tries to give chase, but they end up just scaring him away!
Deadprez: Now we’ve got some backup! Cody’s not alone anymore!
Gavin Kirkland: Cody recovers back to his feet and quickly charges toward Lee, looking for the discus punch but Lee ducks under again and takes him down with a Drop Toe Hold! She hops over him and quickly tries to trap Cody in Journey’s End!-
Eve: Wait, wait, wait! Cody’s turning things around! Lee tries to throw the arms over and lock in the Chickenwing Over-the-Shoulder Crossface, but Cody uses both arms to hook her over and pins her shoulders to the mat in a backside cover!
Deadprez: Cody is turning it over and he’s about to steal this title win from Harper Lee!

Deadprez: TWO!!! TWO!!! Harper Lee powers out just in time and moves out of the way! Cody Maverick is staggered, but here comes an aggressive Harper Lee already steady on her feet… AND SHE JUST ROCKS CODY WITH A HARD PENALTY KICK, PUTTING HIM DOWN!!!!!-
Gavin Kirkland: But that kick means nothing to him! Look at Cody move! He gets right back up, standing tall on his feet as soon as the kick connects, and shoves a hard right hand across Harper Lee’s jaw at the center of the ring!
Eve: Cody quickly grabs Lee and tries to throw her to the ropes—but Lee reverses and sends him across instead! Cody lands on the apron, and as Lee turns around to tackle him, Cody moves out of the way, causing Lee to dive head through the ropes!… BANG!!!! Cody catches her with a stiff kick to the face!
Deadprez: Lee stumbles back, giving Cody some rope time to stand tall and clear the path for his next move!… SLINGSHOT SHOULDER BLOCK-
Gavin Kirkland: ENZUIGIRI KICK CAUGHT FLYING CODY!!!! Cody tries to dive back into the ring to knock Lee down, but Lee catches him mid-air with a Step-Up Enzuigiri to the face!
Eve: Maverick stumbles back to his feet near the corner as Lee sets her footing, charging from where she started and sprinting toward Cody with the wind at her back!… AND LEE WITH THE SHOTGUN DROPKICK PLANTS CODY INTO THE CORNER!!!! Things are taking a turn for the champion as he’s down and pounding the mat after taking a dropkick to the gut, his back crashing hard into the turnbuckles!
Deadprez: Now Lee is climbing up to the top rope while Cody is still down, and now she’s standing tall, looking to fly high!…. DIVING SENTON ON CODY!!!!!!!!! Cody has been taken down hard this time—the diving senton connected perfectly from the top!
Gavin Kirkland: Lee has a real chance here! We might actually crown a new champion this time as she goes for the cover!

Eve: And Lee is annoyed that everyone in this arena is cheering for a man she believes is nothing more than a false prophet to them!
Deadprez: Lee is just this close to getting the business done and walking away as the champion, but Cody Maverick is still strongly presenting himself as the champion, looking to keep his run going. Lee now waits as she rolls out of the way from where Cody lay, as he begins to recover.
Gavin Kirkland: Lee may have a chance here, and she sprints up towards Cody… LOOKING TO PUT AN INSTANT END TO THIS CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH WITH A LEAPING BIG SLEEP!!!!!!
Eve: But Cody, barely standing, catches Lee and doesn’t allow her to deliver the move, instead hitting a Piledriver! Maverick isn’t letting go and now slowly gets to his feet!
Deadprez: Some raw strength is showing by Cody Maverick as he carries Lee up while she’s on his shoulders, and he carefully adjusts her to set a good position for the move! …AND CODY DROPS HER ON HIS KNEES WITH A FIREMAN’S CARRY GUTBUSTER!!!!!
Gavin Kirkland: The champion has done it again, but Donovan Duke has recovered from the earlier attack on the outside and sees no good in trying to interfere!
Eve: No fret! Here comes Ryan Wilson, sliding from the side where Duke entered… AND WILSON WITH A ROLL-THROUGH SPEAR, CAUSING BOTH MEN TO COLLIDE AND ROLL BACK OUTSIDE THE RING!!!!! WILSON WITH A QUICK SAVE RIGHT THERE!!!!!!
Deadprez: Brianna Hill gets up and tries to make her way through the ropes, but TLA pulls her down and the brawl begins, with both sides going at it on the outside! Duke and Ronan are going after Ryan and Brianna exchanging blows with TLA!
Gavin Kirkland: Hustlers Alliance are going right at each other, and there’s no end to it! Cody Maverick hasn’t been able to focus on the outside and now he’s back up, picking Harper Lee all the way up!
Eve: Lee has been lifted, and Cody is about to hit her with the High Roller! She’s being carried, and the move is soon to be transitioned-
Deadprez: No wait, Lee escapes with a crucifix roll from that fireman’s carry position, sending Cody rolling onto his knees quickly! Maverick tries to recover, but Lee stumbles to her feet and quickly marches forward!… SHINNING WIZARD!!!!!!!
Gavin Kirkland: Cody, at the very last second, is just able to avoid the kick, but he’s confused as to why Lee’s leg is still sticking out…. AND THE ANSWER IS SOON REVEALED AS LEE KNOCKS THE BACK OF HIS HEAD DOWN WITH A REVERSE ROUNDHOUSE KICK!!!!!
Eve: Lee has him down with the kick to the back of his head! She’s now picking Cody back up from the ground and looking to finish this!
Deadprez: She might finally have her moment here as Lee attempts to lift Cody for her Piledriver finisher again!
Gavin Kirkland: Wait, wait, wait! Someone is charging down the ramp!
Eve: That’s… that’s Milli Banks!
Gavin Kirkland: The former Universal Women’s Champion is rushing to the ring, trying to get inside aggressively, but she couldn’t. The referee is blocking her, and she’s irritably arguing with him right now!
Deadprez: I guess Lee has nothing to worry about now; she just has to make sure that Cody stays down, and now she’s looking to put him to sleep on the floor-
(WHACK!!!!!)
Deadprez: WHAT DA HELL?!
Gavin Kirkland: Someone just ran into the ring and smacked Harper Lee with Cody’s National Elite Championship, then quickly took it away with them.
Eve: No wait, that’s not just them we’re talking about!…. THAT’S VEENA ADAMS!
Gavin Kirkland: Cody turned around and realized Harper Lee had been knocked down. He had no idea how it happened, but he’s already kicking Harper Lee back up from the ground and locking her tight to make his move.
Deadprez: Here it finally comes!.. HIGH ROLLER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cody has no idea that someone just helped him up, costing Harper Lee her match, but he’s already tangled up in his own actions! He’s already going for a cover over Harper! Is he going to do it?!

Eve: You have to admire that both are working hard to secure their spots, despite who they are, but this opportunity belongs to only one person tonight! Cody Maverick is out here celebrating his hard-fought championship win, thanks to Veena’s assistance and support out there.
Gavin Kirkland: Remember, there’s still a fight on the outside, and it seems like Hustler Alliance is able to take advantage around this area while Mason is shouting at everyone to take control here, but there’s just too much going on to get it under control!
Deadprez: But don’t let the chaos fool you here. Ronan Malosi just slid into the ring, and he’s delivering a brutal shot right off the bat! Down goes the champion as Maverick’s back is struck with a vicious blow, and that’s a slobber knocker for the Sin City Superstar!
Gavin Kirkland: Now Ronan just continues to stomp on the same man! He’s going at him right now, and there’s no stopping him!
Eve: But they’re back and all the rules are off. Veena Adams gets into the ring and hits a running knee straight into Ronan’s face as hard as possible! Now Banks takes his turn to grab Ronan from behind and hits him across the face with a ripcord slap… FOLLOWED BY ANOTHER KNEE THAT KNOCKS RONAN COLD!!!!
Deadprez: Normally, that would be followed up with an Poisonrana, but tonight they have a different plan! Ronan is still staggering, walking around on shaky legs after his energy has been drained from the attacks….. LIGHTS OUT PUNCH FROM CODY FINISH HIM OFF FOR GOOD!!!!
Gavin Kirkland: There’s a war to be fought, and it seems like the united force of Showdown is looking to get rid of Silas World and make a clean break! They’re standing together around this place, and there’s no better way for them to understand!
(And with that being said, Showdown ends with ‘Kostas’ by Westside Gunn, Conway the Machine & Benny the Butcher playing in the background, showing Cody Maverick with the championship resting on his shoulder after a hard-fought match with Harper Lee. He stands with Milli Banks, Veena Adams, and the Hustler Alliance who joined later, watching on the outside as Silas World retreats. All the brand elitists stand tall looking to protect this land from any corrupted ones and then, Showdown fades to black.)
