(RECAP–Last week, Saturday Night Showdown took place from the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The show starts off with Alex Myers coming to the ring and talking about the opportunity they have right now and this is their chance to right the wrongs they blame themselves for. That’s before Answers World Champion Jake Smith comes to the ring as he talks about how he feels about the match and says that he will be at ringside for Alex’s match later tonight. In the opening contest, Pandora Paisley defeats Lucas Johnson. After the match, Pandora talks about what Ms. Extreme has been doing and declares that no matter who you are, she is going to make her name off of you. The next match has Donovan Duke getting the submission victory over a game Drake Armstrong. )
(The recap plays on as Major Scotty Connor and Drake Armstrong find out what they have in their Unique Opportunity Briefcases. Scotty was the lucky recipient of the title opportunity while Drake had the unfortunate honor of becoming Kennedy Street’s servant for the next 30 days. The next match has Roberto De La Rosa defeating Lexi after Diego hit Lexi in the back of the head with brass knuckles. Then we have Mikaela Street interviewing Heidi Huxley about Kassidy Heart’s condition after Reasonable Doubt where she says that Kass will be on Showdown next week. We then see Hans Grayson defeating Harley Lewis in singles action.)
(The recap continues as Kennedy Street and Veena Adams are talking backstage before Jack Ripley interrupts and asks for another chance for some gold, but Kennedy pretty much tells Jack to go make his own opportunities because she wasn’t giving him one. The next match has Adam Lucas defeating Chris Elite by submission. After the match. Adam talks about how he really didn’t like the way he won the match knowing that Kass was attack beforehand before saying he is more than happy to help with the investigation. That leads to Impact coming out and talking down to Adam for what he just said before Adam issues a challenge for Grand Rampage. If Impact wins, he gets added to the Answers World Championship match at Pain for Pride. The main event of the night has Alex Myers defeating Amir Yusuf by disqualification after Pandora Paisley interfered. As they are attacking Alex, Ms. Extreme comes out and takes Pandora Paisley out of the equation. Jake Smith was on commentary before he hits the ring and causes Amir to escape. As he helps, Alex back to their feet, Jake takes them out with the Starmaker Cutter. The final shot shows Jake holding his title high as Alex is checked on by Willow, who jumped in the ring to help them, as the recap ends…)
(“Brick Wall” by A Day to Remember starts playing throughout the arena and the crowd immediately starts cheering wildly as they know that another exciting edition of Saturday Night Showdown. This week, Showdown is taking place from the amazing Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in the city of Cleveland, Ohio! The camera scans across the raucous crowd who are holding all of their colorful, creative, and clever signs either supporting their favorites or making fun of the ones they hate. After about a minute of showing the crowd, their signs, and the merchandise they are wearing, the camera settles at the commentary table where Deadprez, Eve, and Gavin Kirkland are sitting and more than ready to call all of tonight’s Showdown action.)
Deadprez: WE ARE ON THE WAY TO THE GRAND RAMPAGE! Ladies and gentlemen, this is SATURDAY NIGHT SHOWDOWN! Tonight, Showdown is taking place from the Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in Cleveland, Ohio. I am Deadprez and alongside Eve and Gavin Kirkland, we will be calling all of the amazing action that Showdown always brings. Are you two ready for tonight?
Eve: Absolutely! Of course tonight, we are going to be hearing many things that will involve the Grand Rampage. We will hear about the event throughout the night. Also tonight, we have Kassidy Heart in the arena. She is no doubt going to address many things including the attack she received at Reasonable Doubt. That will be tonight.
Gavin Kirkland: WOOOOOOOO! SHOWDOWN IS HERE ONCE AGAIN AND I AM EXCITED! We will also be hearing from Dominion. Ryan Joseph Myers and Xander Payne will be talking about what is next for them after their unsuccessful attempt at Operation: Doomsday to get the Unified Tag Titles.
Eve: We also have the debut of a new talk show here on Showdown. Ashlynn Quinn will be hosting the premier edition of “Boujee Bistro”. Her first guest tonight will be the National Elite Champion Veena Adams. Let’s see how that goes.
Deadprez: We have found out that the investigations to find out who Kassidy Heart’s attacker is will begin TONIGHT! We also heard that members of the Showdown roster will be interrogated. This is turning into a regular CSI episode. That will also be tonight.
Gavin Kirkland: IT’S MY FAVORITE TIME! IT’S TIME TO TALK ABOUT THE MATCHES! I LOVE IT!! Tonight we have Drake Armstrong taking on Hans Grayson. Two rising stars on Showdown going head to head. Who will come out on top? That will be tonight.
Eve: We also have the classic battle of Rookie versus Veteran as former Answers World Champion Jack Ripley takes on Major Scotty Connor. Will Jack get back on track or will the Major continue to build up momentum towards his title match?
Gavin Kirkland: We also have Lexi taking on Jon Kelton in singles action. Both competitors are coming off recent defeats and both are looking to get back on track with a win here tonight.
Eve: We also have a huge match on tap. Ms. Extreme is back in action as she takes on Holly Arrow. Where Camille is, you better believe that Pandora Paisley is going to not be far behind. Who knows what will happen in that match!
Deadprez: Those are all great matches indeed, but tonight’s main event is going to be explosive to say the least. Six-man tag team action on tap. One team has the Answers World Champion Jake Smith teaming with former Answers World Champion Impact and former Interwire Champion Amir Yusuf. The opposing team has the King of Elite Adam Lucas teaming with former National Elite Champion Donovan Duke and Number One Contender Alex Myers. We will also have Pandora Paisley and Willow Achara both at ringside. With all these elements, which team will come out with momentum heading to Grand Rampage. We will find out later tonight. Right now, let’s head to the ring where the lovely Gina Romano is ready to kick things off for Saturday Night Showdown!
(Partition by Beyonce plays throughout the arena as the crowd stands on their feet.)
Gina Romano: PLEASE INTRODUCE AT THIS TIME…. KASSIDY HEART!
(There is a lot of cheers and boos mixed into the reaction for the guts she showed at Reasonable Doubt and also the return to save her friend and partner, in Sienna Jade at Operation: Doomsday much to everyone’s surprise. She slowly walks out in black spanks, open toed see-through heels, and a white tight blouse. She is obviously still hurt after what happened with the attack and then the match and result with Adam Lucas. She slowly makes her way to the ring.)
Deadprez: We open up Showdown with none other than Kassidy Heart. The former Answers World Champion had a scary time a few weeks ago at Reasonable Doubt when someone attacked her, and it seemed like it was going to be a hospital stay at the hospital. She is still not medically cleared but Kassidy asked for this moment, tonight.
Eve: She should how tough this woman is, Adam Lucas didn’t know how to put her down but, in the end, the referee stopped the match to save Kassidy from herself. It will be interesting what she has to say about the attack and what we saw for Dynasty.
Gavin Kirkland: She still has a bandage on part of her head from the brick and who knows what else happened. It was a very scary situation to say the least.
(Kassidy gets in the ring, taking the mic from Gina Romano before she steps out and Kassidy paces a little before taking a deep breath, addressing the crowd.)
Kassidy Heart: I am a woman that never takes anything lying down. I also know that for the last few years I have had a target on my back because of how good I am. Now some of you might disagree but I don’t care. Longest reigning Answers World Champion, the ONLY woman to ever win King of Elite. I have been successful in the Elimination Chamber, any match that I have been put against, walking out the winner. When I challenged Adam Lucas, it was for the sole purpose to remind him who runs this show, who is the Apex Predator here, that is ME. But… at Reasonable Doubt, someone or someone’s decided to take me out while of all things were putting my wrestling boots on.
(Some of the crowd boo, the disgust in Kassidy’s face says it all as she takes a deep breath, still circling the ring becoming more agitated every passing second.)
Kassidy Heart: I felt a strike to the back of my head, falling forward I could barely grasp what had happened, then whoever the perpetrator was stomped my head into the rubble of the brick and the next thing I remember is waking up on a stretcher in an ambulance as it was ready too drive off. I had one boot on, one boot off, half my wrestling gear was covered in blood, no idea what had happened but…. I WOULD BE DAMNED IF I DIDN’T WRESTLE ADAM LUCAS!
(This actually gets a huge pop from the crowd as Kassidy is seething at this point, her blue eyes glaring right into the camera.)
Kassidy Heart: I know what Adam did after the match, I watched the replay, since I was basically unconscious, but I NEVER gave up, I wrestled that match like it was my last and I’m not going to say “Thank you” to Adam for being a compassionate bleeding heart because truth be told, I wouldn’t have done the same in return. Love me, hate me, I don’t care but you will damn well respect who I am in this business! That goes for anyone in the back and in this company, period! So, Adam… congratulations, I know that is not the way you wanted to win and that was not the way I ever expected to lose, but you finally got one over on Kassidy Heart and I know that isn’t good enough for you, so when this is all over, and it is taken care of, I know damn well that you will accept my challenge and do this again.
(The crowd erupts in cheers at the thought of another Adam Lucas and Kassidy Heart match. She though is far from done, as her temperament grows.)
Kassidy Heart: But now that this is out of the way, let me talk directly to the person or persons that attacked me at Reasonable Doubt. I don’t know why or how you were able to get the drop on me, but I am going to promise this. Whether it is now, tomorrow, next week, next month, next year, I don’t care! I’m going to find you, I will do everything in my power to find who did this to me and trust when I say that the Jaded Hearts is not going to deter or distract me from my ultimate goals in the EAW and especially the Showdown brand because I have one goal, to be a World Champion again. And if I have to go through every single member of this roster to do it, then I will. If I must search forever on who got the drop on me then I will…. Hell, if I have to go through the ENTIRE EAW in order to do so, then I WILL!
(She calms herself for a moment before turning to the camera, glaring right at it, raising the microphone to her lips.)
Kassidy Heart: And with that said, the ONLY way I’m going to accomplish this? Is by competing in one match I have never been a part of. So, I am throwing my name in the GRAND RAMPAGE!
(Kassidy throws the mic on the mats as Partition starts to play throughout the arena. She gets a huge ovation while mixed in with some boos as Kassidy just continues to stare at the camera.)
Deadprez: Wait… wait dawg…. Did she just throw herself into the Grand Rampage!?
Eve: She sure did, and this is the first time that Kassidy Heart has ever competed in the Grand Rampage, she is determined to become a World Champion again and to find the perpetrator that attacked her! She is on a mission and who is going to stop her!
Gavin Kirkland: I am in complete shock right now; this is how we open Showdown!? What is next! Kassidy Heart is in the Grand Rampage! :wow:
(Kassidy continues to stand there glaring at the camera as the scene fades to a commercial break)
( Saturday Night Showdown returns from a short commercial break as we see Gina Romano standing in the middle of the ring, preparing herself to announce the upcoming match. )
Gina Romano: THE FOLLOWING CONTEST IS SCHDULED FOR!…
Crowd: ONE FALL!
( ‘The Leaving Song Pt. II’ hits as Hans Grayson walks out and basks in the cheers from the crowd. He walks out with a confident smile on his face, nodding in approval for the crowd’s reaction before making his way towards the ring. )
Gina Romano: INTRODUCING FIRST!…. FROM VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA, CANADA!… WEIGHING IN 216 POUNDS!…. ‘FIRE HEART’ !!!!!… HANSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!…. GRAYSONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Eve: Here comes one of the rising stars all around EAW, Hans Grayson! He has been wandering Showdown for a while now, and he’s been beating a ton of opponents lately. He managed to beat Harley Lewis, but tonight, he’s going to take down another obstacle in front of him, such as Drake Armstrong.
( Hans enters the ring as he takes his entrance jacket off before ‘Pride and Arrogance’ by Takeru Kanazaki plays. Drake Armstrong makes his way down to the ring. He doesn’t seem to be happy because of what he received. Drake looks quite serious tonight and keeps his eyes on Hans while making his way down from the stage to enter the ring. )
Gina Romano: FROM SCARSDALE, NEW YORK!…. WEIGHING IN AT 260 POUNDS…… HE IS ‘THE FUTURE’ !…. DRAKEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!… ARMSTRONGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Gavin Kirkland: LOOK, IT’S KENNIE’S LAPDOG!
Eve: Well, it’s quite unfortunate that Drake didn’t get the title shot and ended up being Kennie’s dog for thirty days. Maybe Drake could do something tonight to show that it doesn’t matter that he’s the dog, but he will make sure that he’s still capable enough to take out anybody who is going to block his path.
( DING DING DING! )
Gavin Kirkland: Drake and Hans waste no time with each other as both men meet in the middle of the ring and crash into each other, causing them to break apart. They quickly get back on their feet and Drake looks to throw a punch at Hans, but Hans ducks underneath, jumps up from behind, AND QUICKLY SPIKES DRAKE WITH A POISONRANA!
Eve: Hans wastes no time and takes Drake down with a huge blow right off the bat. He goes down to Drake and starts slowing him down with repeated right knee strikes to his gut, inflicting more and more damage. Hans makes sure that Drake isn’t going anywhere soon as he continues to rain down the punishing blows!
Deadprez: Drake is in serious trouble, but Hans wastes no time picking him up off the mat and getting him back to his feet. He tosses Drake onto the ropes and waits for his next move. Drake quickly jumps over the ropes and runs forward to the opposite side, sneaking up behind Hans. Hans turns around just as Drake MEETS HIM WITH A HIGH KNEE TO THE GUT! HANS STUMBLES TO HIS KNEES AND DRAKE CAPITALIZES ON THE OPPORTUNITY, KNOCKING HIM DOWN COMPLETELY WITH ANOTHER HIGH KNEE TO THE JAW!
Gavin Kirkland: Hans is down on the ground, holding his jaw and trying to get back to his feet, while Drake holds his gut and enjoys a moment of advantage. Drake steps in, picks up Hans, and locks him up with a front facelock. Drake quickly changes the game, going for a headlock takedown that sends Hans into a seated position with Drake in control!
Eve: Hans quickly reaches his right hand down to the bottom rope and doesn’t sit well with Drake. Drake wastes no time picking Hans up to a kneeling position and then STOMPS directly onto his right hand!
Deadprez: Drake goes for a left hand this time and picks him up, quickly hitting a Vertical Suplex and sending Hans crashing down to the ground!
Gavin Kirkland: Hans uses his right knee to pound at the top of Drake’s head, causing him to lose his balance and release his hold on Hans. Hans manages to land on both feet and attempts to push Drake forward, but his injured hand hinders him from doing much! He couldn’t do much to Drake!
( Drake turns back around and starts mocking him. )
Drake Armstrong: (Off-Mic) What’s wrong, hm? I don’t think EAW wants a weak elitist like this.
( SLAP! )
Drake Armstrong: (Off-Mic) THEY. DON’T. WANT. YOU-
Eve: A JUMPING KNEE STRIKE BY HANS GRAYSON KNOCKING DRAKE’S TEETH IN! Drake talks too much and Hans isn’t pleased with hearing it. Hans steps in as soon as possible and begins using his elbow, instead of his injured hand, to hit Drake repeatedly and tries to stun him!
Gavin Kirkland: Hans’ elbows are proving to be very effective as he continues to strike Drake with them relentlessly. He shows no signs of stopping anytime soon as he keeps hitting Drake with more and more elbows. Drake starts to fade and ends up dropping down to a kneeling position!
Deadprez: Hans looks down to Drake for one last time and makes his way down to the ropes… BOUNCES OFF AND LOOKS FOR A HANDSPRING ROUNDHOUSE KICK BUT DRAKE USES THE LAST SECOND WHERE HIS BOTH FEET TOUCHING THE RING’S GROUND TAKING HIM DOWN WITH A CHOP BLOCK!
Eve: Drake makes a smart move by taking out Hans’ calf with a chop block, but he still seems hurt and exhausted from the barrage of elbow shots from Hans. Hans holds onto his injured calf in pain, but he knows he needs to find a way to get back on both feet soon or risk losing the match.
Gavin Kirkland: Drake picks himself back up and walks towards Hans, who is still holding onto his injured calf while the referee checks on him. However, Drake pushes the referee aside and starts stomping on Hans’ calf repeatedly, showing no mercy. Drake seems to have lost all sense of sportsmanship and I hate it!
Deadprez: Drake grabs onto Hans’ injured calf and slams it down to the ground, causing Hans to scream out in agony and further worsening his condition. Drake seems to take pleasure in Hans’ pain, wearing a devilish smile on his face while the referee attempts to intervene and check on Hans.
( Drake leans against the corner and watches Hans struggle to recover from the injury inflicted on his calf. The crowd is audibly booing Drake, showing their disdain towards him, which only seems to make him even more satisfied. Drake takes pleasure in the negativity directed towards him and revels in the attention he is receiving from the crowd. )
Gavin Kirkland: God If I were in the ring right now, I would beat that man right off the bat. I would attempt to knock his teeth down his throat and show everyone the Gavin Kirkland that I am capable of being towards someone I hate so much!
Deadprez: Oh, the one with an actual girl that loves him? Nice!

Eve: Hans starts to recover back to his feet and Drake steps in to pick him up. Hans tries to fight back by punching at Drake before Drake stops him by driving his right knee into his gut, causing Hans to fall back. Drake turns Hans and looks for a German Suplex!
Deadprez: Hans uses his right elbow and smacks into the side of Drake’s head, causing him to release Hans and step back, creating some distance between them. Hans then goes behind Drake, grabs him, and looks for a Saito Suplex instead!
Gavin Kirkland: DRAKE FLIPS OUT AND LANDS ON BOTH FEET BEHIND HANS! Hans notices and tries to come back to his feet as soon as possible, but Drake takes him down with both legs and grabs his left one, attempting to twist it around in an Ankle Lock!
Eve: Hans uses his free leg to kick Drake away from him. Drake tries to resist, but the kicks are too much to handle, causing him to release Hans and step away. Hans quickly rolls back to his feet, and as Drake tries to throw a punch to catch him mid-run, Hans slides underneath his fist and pops back up, pushing Drake towards the ropes…. ‘FIRE PUNCH’ TO DRAKE! A SUPERMAN PUNCH CONNECTS!
Deadprez: NOT TOO SOON! DRAKE DUCKS UNNDER JUST IN TIME, HOOKING BOTH OF HANS’ ARMS AND GOING FOR A ROLL-UP INSTEAD!

Eve: DRAKE KICKS OUT! The match continues between these two men and they don’t waste any time with each other. Both men get back to their feet and go for a clothesline with the same idea! Both men crash into each other with a huge clothesline, but Drake comes back faster, looking to hit a mule kick this time at Hans!
Deadprez: Hans catches his leg, pulling him in and SPINNING MICHINOKU DRIVER II BY HANS TAKING OUT DRAKE! Hans is just about to go for a pinfall attempt, but Drake rolls away from him and ends up on the outside of the ring. Hans tries to reach him, but it’s too late; Drake is already on the outside of the ring.
Gavin Kirkland: Hans starts looking at the referee and he seems to be quite disappointed but well you can’t blame the referee, he’s the one going out himself. Hans shakes his head before starts rolling down to the outside to get Drake back into the ring. Hans picks Drake off the ground then throwing him back into the ring.
Eve: Hans slides back into the ring, and Drake tries to help himself back to his feet. Drake starts grabbing Hans’ legs, and Hans just looks down, watching him closely to see what Drake is trying to do here. Drake looks very hurt and in a lot of pain right now, and Hans is just standing there, watching him suffer.
Gavin Kirkland: LET HIM COOK, YEAH!
Deadprez: DRAKE WITH ANOTHER CHOP BLOCK TAKING HANS DOWN TO ONE KNEE! DRAKE TRICKS OUT HANS AND NOW…. COMING BACK TO HIS FEET WITH A MULE KICK THIS TIME! HANS IS DOWN!
Eve: Hans gets fooled by Drake, which makes Drake gain an upper hand in the situation. Now, Drake is going to use most of it to make his move in this match because Hans is now down on the ground, and it’s his good chance to do something about it. Drake pops back to his feet, and now he’s quickly picking Hans off the mat while Hans is still hurt from the chop block…. A SLEEPER SUPLEX DRIVES HANS TO THE GROUND!!!!
Gavin Kirkland: Hans looks absolutely terrible right now, but I’m sure he still has a chance to fight back anytime soon! Hans always has a plan for himself, and I know he’s going to come back from this. From now on, we have to watch Drake bullying this man because he seems like he’s coming for more of that. Drake keeps Hans in the hold of a Sleeper Suplex…. HITS HANS WITH ANOTHER ONE!
Deadprez: Hans is absolutely out, but this man doesn’t seem to be satisfied yet. Drake is still holding Hans down and making sure that this man is going to suffer more and more. Drake picks him off the mat once again, and this time, turns things around, putting Hans into A COMPLETE REAR NAKED CHOKE!
Eve: Hans is in deep, serious trouble here, and Drake isn’t done just yet. DRAKE IS NOW GETTING HANS DOWN INTO A SEATED POSITION, USING BOTH LEGS TO WRAP HANS AROUND HIS WAIST, AND NOW HANS IS COMPLETELY LOCKED UP BY THE REAR NAKED CHOKE! HANS IS GOING TO RUN OUT OF BREATH SOON, OR SOONER HERE! HE LOOKS ABSOLUTELY HELPLESS AND TRIES TO TAKE DRAKE’S ARMS OUT, BUT HE DOESN’T HAVE ENOUGH POWER TO DO SO!
Gavin Kirkland: THE CROWD IS CHEERING FOR HANS TO FIGHT BACK, AND IT SEEMS LIKE HE’S GOING TO GET SOME ENERGY OFF THE CROWD. DRAKE DOESN’T WANT IT TO FLOW THAT WAY AND KEEPS HIM LOCKED UP TIGHTLY, MAKING THIS A MUCH WORSE PREDICAMENT FOR HANS GRAYSON!
Deadprez: THE CROWD ENERGY ISN’T GOING TO WORK FOR HANS THERE! HE STARTS FADING! THIS IS VERY DANGEROUS FOR HANS BECAUSE HE’S ABOUT TO LOSE TO DRAKE! DRAKE KEEPS CHOKING HIM AND MAKING SURE THAT THINGS ARE GOING TO HAVE THEIR END RIGHT HERE! DRAKE IS LOOKING TO FINALLY SCORE HIS FIRST VICTORY SINCE REASONABLE DOUBT!
Eve: ….Hans is going to be choked out by Drake, and the referee starts checking on him! It’s going to be over here!… THE REFEREE CALLS FOR A BE-

Gavin Kirkland: NO WAIT! HANS GRABS THE REFEREE’S HAND AND SHAKES HIS HEAD! HE’S STILL ALIVE! HANS STILL GOT IT! Drake is very angry and he is putting even more pressure into the move while still holding Hans in his grip! He is not giving up on the fight and is determined to ensure that this victory is his!
Deadprez: Hans starts coming back to his feet with Drake still locking up his neck with a rear naked choke! He starts carrying Drake with him on his feet. The power being shown by Hans right now is magnificent!
Eve: Hans runs backward and crashes Drake into the corner, releasing him! It works, Drake’s spine connects with the corner and causes him to let go of Hans. Hans walks away from Drake and starts leaning against the opposite corner to catch some breaths…..
Gavin Kirkland: Drake uses this moment to run out of the corner while Hans is taking a break. He takes advantage of the situation and looks to send Hans right back down to the ground with a lariat at the corner!
Eve: HANS POPS OUT OF THE CORNER AND BARELY HITS DRAKE WITH ‘FIRE PUNCH’ !!!!!!! A SUPERMAN PUNCH CONNECTS ON DRAKE!!!! DRAKE IS OUT AND HANS IMMEDIATLY DROPS INTO A PINFALL!

( ‘The Leaving Song Pt. II’ by AFI starts playing as Hans celebrates his victory over Drake, who gets carried out to the back with a bunch of referees. The final shot displays Hans with a huge smile on his face for another win to his record, and the scene fades to elsewhere. )
( Transitioning elsewhere, this episode of Saturday Night Showdown live from the Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse hums along with a backstage interview. Kyra Phillips, radiant as ever, is present on the screen. She wears a dazzling dress, the same colour as her pearly-white smile! Joining her at this time are none other than the duo of Ryan Joseph Wilson and Xander Payne— otherwise known as Dominion! Neither man is in competition tonight, so they’re dressed casually. Their appearance receives a mixed response from the attending Ohio faithful. The cameras zoom in a touch, without further ado Kyra brings the microphone up to her face. )
Kyra Phillips: Ryan, Xander, I really appreciate your time. I wanted to ask you about the intense match between yourselves and Soul Food Sunday that took place at Operation: Doomsday. Obviously, before last weekend the two of you were undefeated in tag team action. Approaching Operation: Doomsday, we heard the two of you express confidence in your skills, as well as your chances of leaving Chicago with the Unified Tag Team Championships. So I have to ask, given you ended up losing on the night, how are Dominion feeling in relation to the match?
Ryan Joseph Wilson: It’s a disappointing feeling, Kyra. We expressed confidence as you said and in that moment, we were confident. The two of us felt our skills and our synergy worked wonders together, and that in Chicago we’d have a good chance of winning the Unified Tag Team Championships. For what it’s worth, we came so close. We competed with the measuring stick, the top of the mountain, we went toe-to-toe with Soul Food Sunday and I mean this when I say it, on another night we would’ve walked out as champions. That’s taking nothing away from SOSA and Visual Prophet, they did what they needed to do and they showcased why they’re considered the best. I still think Dominion is better, even if the record books won’t show that.
Xander Payne: If we faced Soul Food Sunday again we’d run away with it. I genuinely feel we did the best we could do in Chicago, but we also learned so much from that experience. I’m sure that SOSA and Visual Prophet could say the same, that’s the nature of the beast. We put in a good shift for ourselves and showed why Dominion is a force to be reckoned with. Next time out we’ll do better. Keep this in mind, Kyra, we’re still growing as a team. While we did have an amazing performance at Operation: Doomsday, as we continue to bond and work together, we and our performances will only get better. But it’s in the past, right? Anybody would be saying what we’re saying, we know now the Unified Tag Team Championships are on the shelf so that means we need to do something here, on Showdown, so we don’t become stagnant.
Ryan Joseph Wilson: What’s important to establish is that Dominion is not a short-term thing. You’ll see people team-up all of the time, and after their first hurdle they call it quits. Even successful tag teams do this— The Prescription and The Haircare Kings come to mind, the latter competed against one another just two weeks ago in the main event of a premium event. When things get tough, they break apart and more often than not, usually end up fighting one another. If progress and success were a straight line, nothing would separate the worst and the best in this sport. Dominion is not going anywhere, we’re going to learn from our mistakes and bounce back, becoming stronger than we were before in the process.
Xander Payne: Soon the opportunity will present itself for Dominion to make its mark. If not in the tag team division then here, on Showdown. People should be worried, they’d be right to feel that way. Think about it, Kyra, by ourselves Ryan and I have accomplished so much. But together? We really have limitless potential. One thing about this business is that you can never write people off. Legends come back from year-long hiatus’ and win championships. The so-called best on the planet enter month-long slumps and never return to their peak. But this business always provides, and when an opportunity comes we’ll be there to strike. So everyone on Showdown should sleep with one eye open. Because we will make our mark.
( Listening to Dominion’s vague words, the audience is left in a confused state. Kyra herself is a little unsure of what to make of this. It’d seem that Ryan and Xander are potentially done with their Unified Tag Team Championships endeavors, but in spite of this, are more-than willing to continue working together. The professional interviewer decides to follow her gut instinct and enquire more pertaining to Dominion’s plans in the coming weeks. )
Kyra Phillips: Would you care to be a little more specific? Expand upon your plans? What do the two of you foresee happening for Dominion in the near future?
Xander Payne: Come on now, Kyra! Where would be the fun in that? You don’t buy a book and then skip to the endgame, do you? That’d be silly. Trust in Dominion, we have some surprises up our sleeve and when we’re done, the wrestling world won’t be able to stop talking about us. We’re going to make an impact, I know people will be quick to write us off. But given what we’ve accomplished that’d be silly to do so.
Ryan Joseph Wilson: What Xander says is the truth, Kyra, it’s gospel. You, as well as the rest of the Showdown roster, will just have to sit patiently, wait and see what we’re going to do. But rest assured, it’ll be big. We didn’t align to watch the world pass us by, now. We have big plans and it’s a matter of waiting, sitting in darkness, watching this business provide— and then striking while the iron is hot. The future of Dominion will be successful, we weren’t able to get things done when competing against Soul Food Sunday. But that was an anomaly, not the norm. Rest assured things will change. We’ll stop at nothing, we’ll get back up and we’ll do whatever we can in our power to ensure this partnership is memorable and a success.
( Satisfied with their answers, Dominion nods in Kyra’s direction and then walks off to the right. The camera pans to follow them, returning to the interviewer some time later. Kyra Phillips signs off and with this, we transition elsewhere. What’s clear is that Dominion aren’t demotivated with their loss at Operation: Doomsday, it is merely the beginning of a beautiful friendship! )

Gina Romano: Introducing first and making his way to the ring. He is from Las Vegas, Nevada! Weighing in at 205 pounds. Here is “STRAIGHT SHOOTER” JACK RIPLEY!
Deadprez: Here comes Jack Ripley heading to the ring for singles action. He hasn’t had the best of luck in the last few weeks, but he is looking to change that around tonight with a victory.
Eve: At Reasonable Doubt, Jack was defeated by Ms. Extreme in a No Holds Barred match and just last week, Jack was looking for another opportunity from GM Kennedy Street, but she was hearing NONE of it.
Gavin Kirkland: If Jack is wanting another opportunity for Kennedy, he’s going to have to earn it and tonight could go a long way to getting him in line for an opportunity, but his opponent is here to make sure that Jack doesn’t get the job done.
(Jack enters the ring with a scowl on his face as he takes his corner and his entrance music fades off. Seconds later, “Sweet Emotion” by Aerosmith starts to play as Major Scotty Connor enters the arena to loud cheers from the crowd. Scotty soaks in the warm welcome as he heads to the ring.)
Gina Romano: Introducing his opponent! He is from London, Ohio. Weighing in at 210 pounds. Here is MAJOR MICHAEL SCOTT CONNOR! USMC!
Gavin Kirkland: Here comes the opposition. Scotty is on the opposite end of the spectrum that Jack is. Scotty got his first major victory at Reasonable Doubt, getting one of the briefcases.
Eve: On top of that, Scotty was the lucky recipient of the briefcase that entitles him to a title opportunity of Kennedy Street’s choosing. He has got to be feeling good with receiving his first title opportunity of his career.
Deadprez: He’s also on a mission to clean up the filth and garbage of Showdown and defeating a former World Champion in Jack Ripley would go a long way in furthering his cause. But Jack isn’t going to let anybody further a cause at his expense. Who will come out victorious tonight? The veteran experience of Ripley or the true military power of Connor? We are about to find out!
(Scotty enters the ring and takes his corner as his entrance music fades off. These two aren’t taking their eyes off each other as the referee checks both competitors before calling for the bell.)

Deadprez: Here we go! This contest is underway! Veteran versus Rookie right now with Jack Ripley taking on Scotty Connor. Both men meet in the center of the ring before they lockup. Scotty with a little more power gets the early advantage with a side headlock.
Gavin Kirkland: Even though Scotty has the early goings, outside of experience, these two are pretty much even in terms of size and strength. It will be interesting to see how this match goes.
Eve: The experience of Jack already paying dividends as he throws right hands into Scotty’s gut and gets him to let the headlock go. Jack shoves him forward and grabs him by the back of the head AND YANKS HIM DOWN TO THE MAT!
Gavin Kirkland: Jack takes advantage and is delivering boots after boots to Scotty and Scotty rolls out to the apron for a quick breather. I think he got taken a little off guard with Jack.
Deadprez: He’s staying out on the apron for a quick second to come up with a change of strategy. BUT JACK ISN’T GOING TO WAIT! HE GRABS THE BACK OF SCOTTY’S HEAD TO TRY TO BRING HIM BACK INTO THE RING THE HARD WAY–
Gavin Kirkland: SCOTTY WITH A RIGHT HAND STAGGERS RIPLEY! Scotty gets back into the ring and grabs Jack around the waist AND BRINGS HIM DOWN TO THE MAT! Scotty needs to keep up with that technical wrestling to counteract Ripley high flying moves.
Eve: Scotty grabs Jack’s head and has a chinlock applied AND FLIPS FORWARD WITH A BRIDGE AND ADDS EXTRA PRESSURE TO THE MOVE! Scotty keeps the pressure applied for a little bit longer before flipping back and letting the hold go.
Deadprez: The technical expertise on display from Scotty as he brings Jack back to his feet and whips him to the ropes. Jack comes back and COUNTERS WITH A HEADSCISSOR TAKEOVER THAT TAKES SCOTTY FOR THE RIDE!
Eve: Scotty comes back and goes for a clothesline, BUT HE HIS MET WITH A CHOP TO THE CHEST FROM RIPLEY! YOU COULD HEAR THAT ONE LOUD AND CLEAR! Ripley whips Scotty into the turnbuckle and he quickly follows.
Deadprez: RIPLEY WITH ANOTHER CHOP TO SCOTTY’S CHEST! ANOTHER AND ANOTHER LIGHTING UP SCOTTY’S CHEST AND IT’S ALREADY STARTING TO TURN RED FROM ALL THOSE CHOPS!
Gavin Kirkland: Ripley with those martial arts style kicks into Scotty’s midsection before Jack comes back and JUMPS ONTO SCOTTY’S LEGS AND TAKES HIM OVER WITH A MONKEY FLIP! YOU DON’T SEE THAT MOVE VERY OFTEN!
Eve: Scotty’s back takes some damage as Jack follows up WITH A STRAIGHT KICK TO THE SPINE! SCOTTY FELT ALL OF THAT ONE! Jack hits the ropes again AND CATCHES SCOTTY UNDER THE CHIN WITH A LOWBALL CLOTHESLINE! Scotty taken down and Jack goes for a quick cover!

Gavin Kirkland: THE MAJOR KICKS OUT AT ONE! But Jack is still on the attack as he brings Scotty back up and whips him to the ropes. Scotty comes back and Jack puts his head down BEFORE SCOTTY JUST CLOBBERS HIM IN THE BACK!
Deadprez: Scotty now with a front facelock and he SNAPS JACK OVER WITH A SNAP SUPLEX! SCOTTY FLOATS OVER AND STARTS THROWING FOREARMS IN JACK’S FACE! JACK TRYING TO BLOCK AS MANY SHOTS AS HE CAN AS HE BACKS UP TO THE ROPES!
Gavin Kirkland: Jack gets to the ropes and the referee forces a break. Scotty is back up to his feet AND HE GRABS JACK’S LEGS AND YANKS HIM AWAY FROM THE ROPES AND SENDS JACK CRASHING BACK TO THE MAT!
Eve: Jack planted on his spine as Scotty hits the ropes AND DROPS THE LEG ACROSS JACK’S CHEST! DIRECT IMPACT AS SCOTTY GOES FOR THE COVER!

Eve: HE FOUND A WAY! Jack reaches back and grabs Scotty’s head and COUNTERS WITH A JAWBREAKER THAT GETS HIM FREE AND STAGGERS SCOTTY BACK! Jack is back up to his feet and he throws a forearm in Scotty’s face.
Deadprez: Scotty staggered back and Jack fires off a few more forearms that sends Scotty leaning into the ropes. Jack pulls Scotty off the ropes and whips him to the other. This time Scotty comes back AND JACK TAKES HIM DOWN WITH A BIG TIME BACK BODY DROP!
Gavin Kirkland: Scotty is holding his lower back in pain as Jack comes in and grabs Scotty’s head and TRIES TO PLANT HIM WITH A DDT, BUT SCOTTY IS BLOCKING IT! JACK TRIES AGAIN, BUT SCOTTY BLOCKS AGAIN!

Deadprez: JACK GOES THROAT FIRST INTO THE MIDDLE ROPE AND SCOTTY FOLLOWS UP WITH A KNEE ACROSS THE BACK OF THE NECK! NICE MOVE BY SCOTTY!
Gavin Kirkland: He knows that he’s going to have to stay on the attack against Jack Ripley because Jack knows the tricks of a veteran. Jack can turn the tides of this match in his favor at any second.
Eve: Scotty slides under the bottom rope and gets in Jack’s face AND FIRES A STRAIGHT RIGHT HAND IN JACK’S FACE AND HE FLIES BACKWARDS AS SCOTTY GETS BACK INTO THE RING AND STARTS KICKING JACK IN THE BACK!
Deadprez: Jack trying to roll into the ropes and he finally gets to the ropes. The referee forces a break, BUT SCOTTY SIDESTEPS THE REFEREE! Scotty heading straight for Jack–
Eve: JACK GRABS THE FRONT OF SCOTTY’S TIGHTS AND SENDS HIM FACE FIRST INTO THE TOP ROPE! SCOTTY BOUNCES HARD TO THE MAT! Just like that, Jack Ripley turns the match into his favor.
Deadprez: Jack has a handful of hair and drags Scotty back to the ropes AND JACK STARTS CHOKING SCOTTY ON THE SECOND ROPES! THE REFEREE IS ADMONISHING JACK TO GET SCOTTY OFF THE ROPES, BUT JACK ISN’T LISTENING!
Referee: (off-mic) Get him off the ropes, Jack. BREAK IT NOW! ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR! FI–
Gavin Kirkland: Jack breaks right before the five count so he doesn’t risk disqualification. But that doesn’t stop Jack from dragging Scotty back AND DOING IT ALL OVER AGAIN! THE REFEREE ONCE AGAIN ADMONISHES JACK!

Eve: Jack breaks the choke on four once again. Now Jack grabs the middle rope AND SNAPS IT BACK AND THAT WHIPS SCOTTY BACK AND CRACKING THE BACK OF HIS HEAD AGAINST THE MAT!
Gavin Kirkland: Jack is making two statements in this match. One for Scotty to show that someone he considers “a rookie”. The other is for Kennedy Street to show our General Manager that he is deserving of another opportunity.
Deadprez: Jake leans down and gets right in Scotty’s face before he reaches down AND JUST SLAPS SCOTTY RIGHT ACROSS THE FACE! HOW DISRESPECTFUL! But Jack doesn’t care. Jack gets back up AND BUTS HIS BOOT ACROSS SCOTTY’S THROAT!
Gavin Kirkland: JACK RIPLEY IS CHOKING SCOTTY ONCE AGAIN AND THE REFEREE IS GETTING ANNOYED WITH JACK AT THE MOMENT!
Referee: (off-mic) Get your boot off his throat! STOP THE CHOKING NOW! ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR! FIV–
Eve: Jack once again stops the choke on four. Right now the referee is letting Jack now that he is getting dangerously close to getting disqualified. I think that threat from the referee went through one ear and out the other.
Deadprez: Jack pulls Scotty back to his feet and doubles him over before applying a facelock AND SNAPPING SCOTTY OVER WITH THE SUPLEX! JACK FLOATS OVER AND STARTS THROWING LEFTS AND RIGHTS IN SCOTTY’S FACE!
Eve: No count started because Scotty just SHOVES Jack off him and he starts trying to get back to his feet. BUT HERE COMES JACK! HE JUMPS IN FOR ANOTHER ATTACK BUT SCOTTY CATCHES HIM!
Deadprez: SCOTTY IS BACK UP TO HIS FEET AS HE BACKS UP TO THE ROPES! SCOTTY JUST DROPS AND JACK GETS A HOT SHOT INTO THE TOP ROPE! JACK GOES THROAT FIRST INTO THAT TOP ROPE!
Gavin Kirkland: Jack stumbles back and gets caught in a facelock of his own. Scotty lifts him up and bounces Jack off the top rope BEFORE TAKING JACK DOWN WITH A SLINGSHOT SUPLEX!
Eve: The Major showing his technical skills in this match as he takes down a former Answers World Champion and right now has him on the ropes. Now he pulls Jack up enough AND APPLIED A FULL NELSON!
Gavin Kirkland: That’s something we haven’t seen from the Major. I don’t think that Scotty is looking to make Jack submit right now, but it certainly is an interesting way to wear down Jack Ripley.
Deadprez: Jack is still on his knees and trying to get himself back to his feet in the hopes of getting free from this full nelson. As soon as I say it, Jack gets back up to his feet AND HE JUMPS UP BEFORE FORCING HIMSELF FORWARD!
Gavin Kirkland: ROLLUP! THAT’S AN INTERESTING WAY TO COUNTER A FULL NELSON! MODIFIED VICTORY ROLL BY JACK RIPLEY AND THE MAJOR’S SHOULDERS ARE DOWN!

Deadprez: Both men are down at the moment, but they are slowly getting back to their feet so the referee is not going to start a count. Now they are both back up to their feet and Jack is first up with a forearm–
Eve: SCOTTY BLOCKS IT AND COUNTERS WITH A FOREARM OF HIS OWN! Jack tries again, BUT SCOTTY COUNTERS ONCE AGAIN WITH ANOTHER FOREARM! Jack backed up against the ropes and SCOTTY CLOTHESLINE JACK OVER THE TOP ROPE!

Deadprez: This was a great match between rookie and veteran. Both competitors fought hard, but it was the wrestling experience advantage of Jack Ripley that gave him the victory here tonight.
Eve: I know that people were probably expecting a one sided match between these two, but it’s easy to see that it wasn’t because both Jack and Scotty fought hard in this contest and provided a great match that the fans enjoyed.
(Jack is back to his feet and the referee raises his arm in victory before Jack snatches his arm away and glares at the referee before giving a disgusted look to the still down Scotty as leaves the ring and heads up the entrance ramp.)
Gavin Kirkland: As we mentioned earlier, he wants to get another opportunity and maybe this victory will be the restart he needs to help him convince Kennedy Street that he deserves one.
Eve: We also can discount the great work Scotty did. He is constantly proving that age is just a number. He was close to having the match won on a number of occasions, but unfortunately, it just wasn’t meant to be for the Major here tonight.
Gavin Kirkland: Even with the military background and power that Scotty brought, it just wasn’t enough this time around to defeat the cunning and skill of Jack Ripley. But Scotty shouldn’t feel too bad. He fought hard and remember that he still has a title opportunity coming his way, so he needs to keep focused on that future match.
Deadprez: There’s no doubt that with the work that Scotty has been putting in recently, he will be getting more opportunities like this in the future, but tonight belongs to the Straight Shooter. Congrats to Jack Ripley on the victory here tonight on Showdown!
(The final shot shows Jack giving one last quick glance down the entrance ramp before heading to the back as Scotty is sitting in the ring looking a little disappointed about the match result as the camera cuts elsewhere.)
(We cut to the back, where Kennedy Street stood talking to Roberto De La Rosa, La Familia with him. By her side is Drake Armstrong who looks a little worse for wear after his match with Hans Grayson, who stands patiently, waiting to be called upon. He seems almost in awe of her, and is obviously happy with his current duties, seeing it as an opportunity to get ahead in the company.)
Kennedy Street: I get what you are saying Honey, I really do.
Roberto De La Rosa: With respect, and I’m sure that you understand I do respect the job you are doing here…
Kennedy Street: That I do Honey
Roberto De La Rosa: I defeated Lexi with very little issue last week. I’m sure that you saw for yourself that I didn’t even have to bring my biggest of effort and got past her quite easily.
Kennedy Street: It was certainly an impressive victory.
Roberto De La Rosa: It was more than impressive; it was the kind of dominance that you asked for. You asked, and I delivered, that is what Roberto, and The Familia does. Not only that, I wasn’t the one who was pinned at Reasonable Doubt.
Kennedy Street: Again, I cannot deny that, but…
Roberto De La Rosa: Then surely, it stands to reason that I have earned myself another shot at the National Elite Championship?
(This time Kennedy doesn’t respond, and actually shows some annoyance at the interruption. Roberto doesn’t pick up on it though and continues.)
Roberto De La Rosa: I like to think you and I have an accord Ms. Street, let me do what is right for you and this company, and I promise you that unlike others, I will NOT let you down.
(Kennedy stands there for a few moments thinking about it. Unlike Abel Atami, Roberto had been at the very least, useful, and could be useful in the future. As Kennedy was a giving soul, and loved to give back to her roster, she comes up with a plan)
Kennedy Street: Why aim so low Honey, when you could look much higher than that? If there is one thing that upsets Kennie, it’s when my roster doesn’t try to reach beyond their potential.
Roberto De La Rosa: I’m listening
Kennedy Street: Well, it’s simple, isn’t it? You go to Grand Rampage, and you do what Impact did last year, and win the whole thing. You do that, and you get yourself a shot at being World Champion which is much better wouldn’t you agree? Please Roberto, don’t sell yourself short, Kennie has had her eye on you for a long time, and this could be the beginning of something special. Just imagine, doing what Impact did, and Showdown taking the honors for the second year in a row.
(Roberto thinks about it for a second, his ego going into overdrive. He believed that he could win Grand Rampage in a heartbeat, and then the sky would be the limit.)
Roberto De La Rosa: Yeah OK Ms. Street, I can do that. For you, and the Showdown brand, but mostly for myself.
(As he is speaking, Jack Ripley walks into the office, Kennedy immediately rolling her eyes and letting out a long sigh.)
Kennedy Street: Roberto… we’ll speak more later OK Honey. I just have to deal with this.
(Roberto nods and leaves with La Familia, happy with his opportunity. Jack doesn’t stand during the ceremony, and the minute Roberto has left, he speaks.)
Jack Ripley: I’m not happy.
Kennedy Street: I think Kennie has figured that out Honey.
Jack Ripley: I’m serious… you totally ignored me last week, and I want answers.
Kennedy Street: I was already talking with Veena; you were very rude and tried to interrupt.
Jack Ripley: What can I do when you won’t listen to a word I say.
Kennedy Street: Well maybe that’s because you don’t have anything interesting to say…Honey.
(Jack is furious but maintains his composure. He couldn’t believe that he was being treated like this. And as far as he was concerned, it had to stop.)
Jack Ripley: I have made it perfectly clear that I want to be World Champion again, and I will stop at nothing to achieve that.
Kennedy Street: That’s good, but there are many Elitists after the same thing.
Jack Ripley: Yes, but you and I know that I am much more capable than all of them. I deserve to be World Champion again, and main event Pain for Pride. My last run was disappointing, it was way too short. People are saying that I’ve had my time, but the fact is this is only the beginning of my rise to the top.

Gavin Kirkland: In Kelton’s mind there is no way he deserves to be the top guy on Showdown and tonight I feel is a win he needs to get in order to stay in the fight to be next in line to face Jake. Lexi won’t be an easy task for sure, let’s see if Jon can get it done against an emerging star!
( “Mr. Brightside” by The Killers plays over the speakers of the place while the rebellious one makes her way to the ring with a look of confidence and she appears to be in a bad mood. )

Deadprez: Here comes a proud competition looking to bounce back from a loss against La Familia last week. Lexi got screwed out of a win as Roberto was assisted by Diego and Javier and Lexi will be looking to get a win against an emerging Jon Kelton tonight.
Gavin Kirkland: A win against one such as Jon would do great for Lexi’s reputation and standing in the company. She spoke her mind this week and she’s determined to leave Cleveland with a much earned victory but to do won’t be an easy feat.

Deadprez: AND HERE WE GO! This match is officially underway! Both opponents are staring at one another, both looking confident in their abilities to leave the match with the win and Kelton stays in his corner not looking to be in rush to be in this fight while Lexi hops on her feet looking antsy and very much ready to get it on.
Gavin Kirkland: Some words exchanged between husband and wife Londyn Zelaya at ringside and the official asks him to get this match started. The fans are booing him too as he points making a hold on sign. The balls on that man!
Eve: These two are trying to send a message to Lexi I think, that they aren’t going to do things at her pace. Kelton stretches a bit and then does a little jog around the ring before attempting a clinch on Lexi WHO TAKES HIM TO THE MAT INSTEAD WITH A JAPANESE ARMDRAG!
Deadprez: Kelton seems surprised as he gets up vertical quickly, he charges at her and she steps aside. To the ropes Kelton goes and Lexi hops over him. Kelton to the ropes, Lexi backflips anticipating Jon but he held onto the ropes but he then dashes her way!
Gavin Kirkland: She hits the deck, he goes over her and once more into the ropes. Lexi to the floor again and Kelton cartwheels himself past her! She goes to her feet AND GETS CLIPPED WITH A DROPKICK FROM KELTON!
Eve: First strike goes to The Chosen One tonight! Lexi’s holding her jaw and Kelton looks at his wife as if Lexi was nothing. He moves to her, to her feet goes Lexi before getting whipped into a corner. Jon goes to strike BUT LEXI BLOCKS AND SPINS KELTON IN THE CORNER! Knife edged chop to the chest!

Deadprez: Kelton reverses and goes for strikes of his own but the crowd boos his effort to turn the table to his side. He strikes at her three times before moving away from the corner and whip her to the op-No she reverses! Kelton now to the corner AND LEXI SLAMS INTO HIM WITH JUMPING KNEES!!!
Gavin Kirkland: Lexi quickly tries to gain momentum as she moves to whip him again but Kelton reverses! She uses the ropes to hop over her opponent and rolls to the center of the ring. She dares him to come at her! He does and she backflips herself over him AND CLIPS HIM WITH A DROPKICK OF HER OWN!!
Eve: Lexi with a kip-up and raises her arms, the crowd loves it as she moves to Jon and kicks him in the ribs. He gets up, moving his arms to the ropes before smacking his chest again! Into the ropes he’s sent and he ducks under her clothesline! He turns and shoulder tackles her!
Deadprez: Opportunity for Kelton who goes for an Enziguri taking down Lexi! He quickly forces her up, scoops her in his arms and slams her down to perfection. Textbook move by Kelton who then quickly goes to the ropes before attempting a back senton but Lexi got her feet to his back preventing the move!
Gavin Kirkland: She shoves him to a corner, getting up fast and charging his way but it stopped by a boot to the midsection keeping her away. She stumbles away from Jon but he grabs her into a headlock! He walks to the ropes going springboard but he lands on his feet! Strange move there BUT LEXI THEN SWINGS HIM AGAINST THE TURNBUCKLES WITH A SUDDEN SNAP SUPLEX!!
Eve: Smart play by Lexi who quickly drags Jon closer to the ring and tries for a cover!

Gavin Kirkland: If he had her locked in the center of the ring, Kelton surely would’ve won but he got her close to the ropes and Lexi was able to save herself. Jon isn’t happy about that as he let go of Lexi but then begins to drop at her back and ribs before the official gets between him and her.
Eve: He then quickly goes to the ropes AND SPRINBOARDS HIMSELF INTO A MOONSAULT!! IT LANDS PERFECTLY ACROSS LEXI’S BACK!! He moves back to his feet as Lexi is holding her spine trying to shake off the pain but he throws an elbow right there to add more pain. He goes to grab her by the waist AND DEADLIFTS HER INTO A GERMAN-RELEASE SUPLEX THAT SENDS HER ALMOST OUTSIDE OF THE RING!!
Deadprez: Lexi in trouble right now as Kelton goes to the ropes and BASEBALL SLIDES LEXI OUT OF THE RING! She lands to the hard floor under the boos of the crowd as Jon goes and follows suit. He stands behind her, clocking her behind the head with a double ax handle sending Lexi to her knees BEFORE GETTING A SPINNING HEEL KICK TO THE HEAD TAKING HER DOWN!!!

Deadprez: Damn it this wasn’t the right way to end this match! We had a great competitive bout on our hands and there goes Londyn with her actions that ruined Lexi’s chances to win! I feel sorry for her because she delivered one hell of a fight against a tough opponent!
Gavin Kirkland: Yeah well like it or not if Jon manages to get away with this the win is legit because the official didn’t see it. Let’s give Kelton credit however he performed admirably tonight he wasn’t a slouch and he got what he wanted which is victory. Lexi will have another go soon enough.

There is a small bar with a fresh juice maker and cappuccino machine. She is dressed in a cute baby blue dinner dress and glittery heels, her hair in a half ponytail while holding the mic.)

What an unexpected end to a great match, and while what just transpired makes nobody happy, it makes Pandora Paisley happy and that is all that matters for her. (We cut away from the normal programming, and to a darkened room, a single lamp not really illuminating the place. Sat in a chair, with his hands steepled is a man, apparently dressed in a long trench coat that looks like it is from the 1940’s. On the desk is a name plate, one that he bought for himself just for situations like this which reads Richard Tracie P.I. He reaches forwards, and lights a cigarette, taking a couple of drags from it and blowing the smoke into the air. He then places the cigarette in the ashtray, and leans forwards, almost threateningly, and he speaks.)
Richard Tracie P.I: So, where were you on the night of the Mur… assault?
(The camera spins around, and shows Kennedy Street, who is more concerned about the filter on the screen not doing her complexion any favors.)
Kennedy Street: No Honey, I am not one of the accused.
Richard Tracie P.I: Everyone is currently a suspect Ms. Street. So where were you at the time?
Kennedy Street: In my office
Richard Tracie P.I: And do you have anyone who can confirm that?

(The scene cuts for a second, and then opens again, Richard Tracie P.I now stood in a locker room with a notebook in hand. He is looking around the locker room, more than likely for clue, as Lexi stands by wondering what the heck is going on. The detective flicks through a few pages, arriving at the part he wants.)

(He looks at her up and down, Lexi taking that as him checking her out.)

(The door opens and Komatsu Ogawa walks in, looking just as annoyed as he always does these days. The Private Investigator offers a seat, which Komatsu declines with a shake of the head.)
Richard Tracie P.I: So, Mr. Ogawa, where were you on the night of the assault, and do you have an alibi?
(Although it was straight to the point, Komatsu just stares at him, not saying a word.)
Richard Tracie P.I: Okayyyyyy… is it fair to say that you have a history of attacking people behind their backs?
(Komatsu again just remains emotionless and doesn’t say a word but does shrug his shoulders.)
Richard Tracie P.I: So, pleading the fifth huh and refusing to answer?
Komatsu Ogawa: It is my right.
(Richard Tracie P.I is surprised to actually hear Ogawa’s voice and presses forwards.)
Richard Tracie P.I: The others I have interrogated were more than willing, and thus were exonerated. But you Sir, your actions lead me to believe that you have guilty written all over you.
(Ogawa just grins, shaking his head.)
Komatsu Ogawa: Kassidy Heart is just way above my pay grade.
(Annoyed, the P.I screams at Komatsu.)

(Komatsu just laughs, and heads to the door.)

(The camera cuts away again, and once more it is just Richard Tracie P.I and Kennedy.)

Eve: Alex has previously defeated Holly Arrow, Jon Kelton, Donovan Duke, and Harley Lewis. Tonight, they face a new challenge, one of the biggest tasks of their career, which is to fight for the Answers World Champion title. Jake Smith currently holds the championship and this will be a difficult obstacle for Alex to overcome.
( Adam and Alex both arrive at the front of the ring before entering. As they make their way to the ring, ‘The Outsiders’ by Eric Church begins to play, replacing Alex’s theme, signaling the arrival of Donovan Duke. The cheers from the crowd continue as he quickly jogs down to join the other two elitists around the ring.)

Deadprez: I would say that the chances of them winning are still very tough because on the other hand, they are facing multiple-time champion Amir, the current Answers World Champion Jake Smith, and EAW legend Impact. However, it’s not impossible for the three of them to win. It will be a difficult task, but with hard work and determination, they could potentially pull off a victory.
Eve: I mean, Donovan is the longest-reigning National Elite champion in history, but I believe there is still a chance for him to come out victorious, just as there is for Adam and Alex. These three have the potential to work together and create something magical in the ring.
( All three elitists are currently in the ring, beginning to remove their entrance gear. ‘A Stranger I Remain’ by Free Dominguez hits, and the crowd responds with loud boos as Amir Yusuf enters, with Pandora Paisley following behind him, wearing an evil smirk on her face. Amir appears cocky and arrogant towards the crowd, as always, before striding confidently to the ring and entering. )

Amir would have been a great Interwire champion, but luck was not on his side that day. Maybe he could do something great in this match and become a better and stronger talent, who knows?

Impact makes his entrance, with the crowd showing their disdain for him. He appears cold and collected as he looks around at the crowd that despises him, shrugs, and then makes his way to the ring.)

Gavin Kirkland: The crowd has always hated Impact, but I have to respect what he has accomplished in this business and all the accolades he has earned. He is undoubtedly one of the greatest of all time in every aspect.
Eve: No doubt, Impact has made many great contributions to this business, despite his controversial personality. Although he suffered a loss against Jake Smith in the Hell in a Cell Armageddon match, perhaps this match will be the opportunity for him to bounce back from that defeat.
( Impact joins Amir in the ring, both of them fixing their gaze on the opposing team. Finally, ‘WAR’ by Grandson blasts through the arena, met with a loud cheer from the crowd as Jake Smith makes his entrance, looking cool with the Answers World Championship around his waist. He smiles as he makes his way down from the stage and enters the ring. )

Eve: Impact is the last one standing on the outside before picking up his recent rival Jake Smith and sending him underneath the bottom rope back inside the ring- ALEX LOOKS TO ATTACK FROM BEHIND BUT IMPACT DODGES AND LETS ALEX CRASHING THEMSELVES INTO THE RING’S APRON! Impact helps Alex up before throwing them back inside and jogs down to pop up to his team’s apron. Impact keeps his eyes on the match and makes sure that his team is doing well at the moment. Jake starts pulling himself off the mat back to his feet, and he makes it before Alex can. Alex is still struggling to get back to their feet, and Willow keeps her eyes filled with worry on them from the ringside area.
Deadprez: Jake picks Alex up and sends him down to the corner, running down and hitting them right on the mouth with a Shining Wizard!… pulling him out of the corner and getting them upon his shoulders…. USHIGOROSHI CONNECTS!
Gavin Kirkland: Alex is in a very bad spot right now, and they need to work their way out of there soon before Jake Smith gains more advantage in this match than ever. Jake doesn’t go for a pin before throwing Alex down to his team’s corner with Amir and Impact, who have just gotten back into the match….

Eve: Jake makes a tag with Impact as he enters the ring and relentlessly stomps on Alex, who is still lying down on the ground. Impact adds more insult to injury from what he had done to Alex at No Regards last year, which I’m sure Alex still remembers. Impact picks Alex off the mat before throwing him down to the ropes. Alex bounces off the ropes, and Impact catches him before executing a Tilt-a-Whirl Backbreaker, breaking Alex’s spine in half! Impact picks Alex up again and crashes their back with the same old knee that he just did!
Deadprez: Alex is going through a lot of pain in most parts of their back right now, but Impact doesn’t seem to stop at all. Impact starts stepping on Alex before jumping off and using both feet to stomp on Alex’s back. He walks off Alex’s back before stiffly kicking them right in the side of his head, like taking a shot at the goal post!
Gavin Kirkland: Alex suddenly faints, and the referee slides in to check on Alex and make sure they’re okay. Alex holds their head in pain and tries to make a comeback by getting back up on their feet…. IMPACT TAKES THEM RIGHT DOWN TO THE GROUND WITH A SPINNING WHEEL KICK, NOT GIVING THEM A CHANCE TO STAND!
Eve: Alex is still in serious trouble right here, and Impact keeps making it much worse for them. Impact steps in and picks Alex back up to their feet. He then sends Alex down to the ropes and follows them up. But Alex bounces off the ropes and slides underneath Impact’s legs, popping back to their feet and quickly connecting Impact with a Superkick!…. TURNING IMPACT INSIDE OUT WITH A DISCUS CLOTHESLINE INTO A KNEELING POSITION!…. A SHINNING WIZARD ENDS THE COMBINATION!
Deadprez: Alex’s combo takes out the ten-time World Champion! Alex isn’t playing around in this match at all, despite it being some sort of “Can They Co-Exist?” case. Alex goes down to the corner, and Donovan reaches his hand out to make a tag with his partner….
Gavin Kirkland: HERE COMES JAKE SMITH, JUMPING OVER THE ROPES AND TAKING OUT HIS FORMER INSURGENCE PARTNER WITH A BICYCLE KICK! AMIR FOLLOWS JAKE UP FROM BEHIND AND SENDS ADAM OFF THE APRON WITH A SUPERKICK! Alex is now in the middle of the ring with three men surrounding them. Impact picks up Alex and delivers a right elbow smash, throwing a right to Jake and Amir INTO A DOUBLE SUPERKICK BY BOTH MEN!… TAKING THEM DOWN FROM BEHIND WITH IMPACT’S RUNNING BULLDOG IN PROCESS!

Eve: Alex is getting packed up right here by the opposite team, and none of them seem to slow down on him at all. Amir pushes himself off the mat back to both feet before charging at Alex and barraging him with a flurry of punches as the crowd starts booing. Deadprez: Both men manage to take out Adam and Alex, leaving Donovan in trouble all alone. Donovan starts to get back to his feet. Both Jake and Amir try to take him down with a double clothesline this time, but Donovan ducks under it…. BOUNCING OFF THE ROPES AND TAKING BOTH MEN DOWN IN THE MIDDLE OF THE RING WITH A DOUBLE SPEAR!
Gavin Kirkland: Donovan is now all alone and he notices that Alex is still out cold from the double superkick. Donovan grabs Alex and pulls his teammate down to the corner of his team before going behind the ropes….

Eve: The tag is made and Amir, who is still a legal man of the opposite team, is still trying to recover but Donovan is already miles ahead, taking him all the way up to the top corner…. Deadprez:It’s not going to be too soon for Impact because Jake is back and now grabs Alex from behind, trying to take his future challenger at Grand Rampage this year down with a roll and holding him tightly…. INTO A WHEELBARROW GERMAN SUPLEX BY JAKE SMITH- WAIT THE MINUTE, ALEX LANDS ON THEIR FEET!
Eve: Jake doesn’t even have time to catch up and tries to get back to his feet as soon as possible. Jake reaches both feet and looks for a soccer kick to take down Alex this time… ALEX WITH A DROPKICK TAKING JAKE DOWN JUST IN TIME!
Gavin Kirkland: Alex is still managing to survive with a little taste of the upper hand, and now they are picking Jake and themselves up together back to their feet. Alex throws Jake down to the ropes… CATCHING JAKE WITH A JUMPING CLOTHESLINE!

Deadprez: Adam gets himself back to his feet as soon as possible, and Amir tries to jump him from behind and assault him…. ADAM TURNS BACK AROUND AND CATCHES AMIR WITH A SPINEBUSTER!
Eve: Impact is also back in the ring, and Adam quickly shifts his focus back to his longtime rival, Impact. Impact runs in and looks for his signature move, the ‘Fist of Fury,’ taking out Adam for good!….. ‘LEVEL UP’ CATCHES IMPACT OFF GUARD! POP-UP POWERBOMB COUNTERS IMPACT’S OWN FINISHER!
Gavin Kirkland: Impact is down and Adam takes a curious look at him for a little while. Impact starts rolling down to the outside of the ring, but I wonder what’s in Adam’s mind right here…. ADAM FOLLOWS DOWN TO THE OUTSIDE, NOW GRABBING IMPACT BEFORE SENDING HIM RIGHT INTO THE BARRICADE! I DON’T THINK ADAM WOULD LOVE TO LET IMPACT GET AWAY LIKE THAT!
Deadprez: IT SEEMS TO BE RIGHT BECAUSE NOW, ADAM IS OUTRAGED WITH IMPACT! IMPACT TRIES TO FIGHT BACK BEFORE PUSHING ADAM AWAY, CAUSING THE BACK OF HIS HEAD TO CRASH INTO THE RING POST RIGHT BEHIND HIM! IMPACT RUNS IN, BUT ADAM DUCKS UNDER, LETTING IMPACT DRIVE HIMSELF INTO THE POST INSTEAD! BOTH SIDES ARE GETTING HURT BY THE RING POST!
Gavin Kirkland: AND LOOK BACK INTO THE RING! THERE’S A CONFRONTATION BETWEEN JAKE AND ALEX! JAKE IS TRYING TO COME BACK TO HIS FEET WHILE ALEX POPS OUT OF THE CORNER, LOOKING FOR A SHOTGUN DROPKICK!

Gavin Kirkland: THE REFEREE TRIES TO STOP BOTH IMPACT AND ADAM FROM FIGHTING EACH OTHER, WHILE JAKE AND ALEX TAKE THE FIGHT TO THE OUTSIDE AND BRING OUT FIRE AND FLAME TO BURN AT EACH OTHER! THE CHAOS HAS FINALLY BEGUN IN THE MAIN EVENT OF THE EVENING, LADIES AND GENTLEMEN!
Deadprez: Donovan and Amir are left alone inside the ring. Things are going way too off hand, and now both men are watching in confusion…. AMIR TAKES A QUICK LOOK BEFORE USING THIS MOMENT TO JUMP IN AND TAKE OUT DONOVAN WITH A SUPERKICK!
Eve: Donovan is in danger and gets taken out by Amir. Amir uses his moment to beat up Donovan, but I think he’s going to end it all right here! Amir quickly comes back to his feet, and now he starts picking up Donovan. Donovan isn’t even fully recovered, but Amir doesn’t seem to care, and he’s going to end it all right here!
Gavin Kirkland: Fights are still going on outside of the ring. Impact grabs Adam before slamming his face right into the commentary table. Jake and Alex are still fighting each other in the crowd’s area. Jake tries to toss the Guardian Angel into the crowd around here! Alex pulls a break and drives a right knee into the face of Jake Smith!
Deadprez: Jake falls back away from Alex, and Alex quickly runs up the stairs in the crowd area while Jake is trying to compose himself after taking a right knee…..
Eve: LOOK OUT! ALEX JUMPS OFF THE STAIRS AND CRASHES INTO JAKE, WHO JUST GOT BACK TO HIS FEET FROM THE KNEE! THE CROWD AROUND THERE SEEMS TO BE ENJOYING WHAT’S GOING ON BETWEEN BOTH MEN A LOT DOWN THERE!
(The referee has seen enough and he calls for the bell.)

(Everyone is brawling and the referee has lost total control of the match.)

(Referees and officials are starting to scramble and separate everyone but to no avail.)
Eve: BACK TO INSIDE OF THE RING, Amir seizes Donovan this time, looking for a Kneecap Brainbuster to take Donovan out for good this time!
Gavin Kirkland: DONOVAN IS STILL ABLE TO ESCAPE JUST IN TIME, AND IT MAKES AMIR MORE FURIOUS THAN EVER. AMIR IS VERY ANGRY AND TRYING TO THROW A HUGE PUNCH TO KNOCK DONOVAN DOWN INSTEAD.…. ‘GAMBLER’S ROULETTE’ !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GIANT SWING SENDING AMIR FLYING INTO THE AIR AND LEAVING HIM SENSELESS! WAIT…..
(Suddenly Donovan Duke turns around….)
Gavin Kikrland: YES! PANDORA’S BOX AND THAT SPINNING RUNNING MAFIA KICK ALMOST TOOK THE HEAD OFF DONOVAN DUKE! PANDORA IS NOW KICKING HIM DOWN AND AMIR IS STARTING TO SHRUG THE EFFECTS OF THE ROULETTE! HE IS UP AND THEY ARE BOTH STOMPING A MUDHOLE IN DONOVAN DUKE!
(The referees are out here as are the officials and they separate Impact from Adam Lucas who is already up and he attacks Impact! They start fighting toward the back as the fans cheer loudly!)
Deadprez: ADAM LUCAS AND IMPACT ARE TEARING EACH OTHER UP AND THE OFFICIALS CAN’T STOP THEM! ALEX AND JAKE ARE IN THE STANDS! THEY ARE BEATING THE HELL OUTTA ONE ANOTHER! SHUCKY DUCKY QUACK QUACK THIS IS AWESOME DAWG!
(Jake and Alex are fighting in the crowd, heading toward the Mezzanine level, Adam Lucas and Impact are trying to be separated and are heading toward the back. Meanwhile in the ring, Donovan Duke is getting pummeled by none other than Pandora and Amir.)
Eve: IN THE THE RING THOUGH DONOVAN DUKE IS GETTING DOUBLE TEAMED AND….. WAIT A SECOND!
(“Paint it Black” by the Rolling Stones starts to play as the crowd roars. Jon Kelton and Londyn come running out to a huge pop of the crowd.)
Eve: HERE COMES JON KELTON! HE IS RUNNING DOWN TO THE RING WITH LONDYN AND THEY BOTH SLIDE INTO THE RING! PANDORA AND AMIR QUICKLY BACK OFF! JON KELTON IS HELPING UP DONOVAN DUKE!
Jon Kelton: (Off Mic) We got this!
(Donovan nods as they both hug and shake hands…..)
Gavin Kirkland: JON KELTON JUST HIT DUKE WITH THE END OF STORY! LOOK AT PANDORA AND AMIR!
(They starts laughing as Jon and Londyn both smirk, then they all four hug each other as the crowd starts booing loudly. The camera pans to Kennedy Street’s office as she looks on with a huge smile on her face.)
Deadprez: SON OF A BITCH! WHY JON! WHY!? KENNEDY GOT TO HIM! WE SAW IT EARLIER WHEN HE STEPPED OUT OF HER OFFICE AND WE DIDN;T KNOW WHAT WAS GOING ON! JON KELTON HAS SOLD OUT TO KENNEDY STREET!
Gavin Kirkland: HE DIDN’T SELL OUT, HE BOUGHT IN AND KNOWS THAT HE CAN BE A WORLD CHAMPION UNDER HER! AND LOOK AT ALL FOUR! THEY ARE KICKING DUKE WHILE HE IS DOWN AND THE RAIN OF BOOS CONTINUE BUT…. WHAT A SECOND! NO! NOT HER!
(The crowd erupts as Ms. Extreme comes running fast as she can with a kendo stick in hand! She slides into the ring and….)

Deadprez: MS. EXTREME HIT PANDORA ON THE SHOULDER STIFLING HER AND SHE LIFTS IT UP ONE MORE TIME AND….. NO! LONDYN TOOK THE KENDO STICK FROM HER AND MS. EXTREME TURNS AROUND FURIOUS! SHE GRABS LONDYN AND… TURN AROUND!
Eve: MS. EXTREME TURNS AROUND AND…. FINAL ATONEMENT BY JON KELTON! SHE IS DOWN AND PANDORA JUMPS ON HER AND LOOK AT PANDORA! LIKE A FERAL CAT IS SCRATCHING AND CLAWING AWAY AT CAMILLE WHO TRIES TO COVER UP! PANDORA HAS LOST IT AND AMIR IS KICKING MS. EXTREME AT THE SAME TIME! SO IS LONDYN! DONOVAN DUKE HAS FALLEN OUT OF THE RING AND THE MEDICAL STAFF IS CHECKING ON HIM!
Gavin Kirkland: THIS IS GREAT! I LOVE IT!
(Pandora screams to pick her up as she has the Kendo Stick. They hold up Ms. Extreme as she spits at Pandora before the Hellcat brandishes her huge grin and lifts the stick over her head when….)
Deadprez: WHAT!?!?!
(“It Follows” by Cane Hill starts to play as the fans again erupt in cheers and are shocked as Xander Payne and Ryan Joseph Wilson run out from the back to the delight of the fans! They slide into the ring….)
Deadprez: DOMINION IS HERE AND THEY ARE GOING FISTICUFFS WITH JON KELTON AND AMIR YUSUF! THEY BROKE UP THE ATTACK ON MS. EXTREME WHO JUST TACKLED PANDORA DOWN AND THIS ARENA EXPLODED! DOMINION HAS COME OUT TO SAVE MS. EXTREME AND TO THE SHOCK OF EVERYONE! RYAN CLOTHESLINE AMIR OUT OF THE RING!
Eve: THIS IS AMAZING! DOMINION HAS MADE THEIR STAND! XANDER PAYNE LAUNCHES JON KELTON OVER THE TOP ROPE! LONDYN SLIDES OUT AND TENDS TO HIM AND AMIR YUSUF! BUT MS. EXTREME AND PANDORA ARE STILL GOING AT IT AND PANDORA TRIES A CLOTHESLINE BUT MS. EXTREME DUCKS, SHE TURNS…. SUPERKICK ON THE CHIN OF PANDORA SENDING HER OVER THE TOP ROPE CRASHING HARD ON THE FLOOR! THEY HAVE CLEARED THE RING!
(The crowd has gone insane, cheering wildly as Dominion and Ms. Extreme stand tall, Amir rushes over to Pandora to help her up, they meet with Jon Kelton and Londyn on the ramp way looking in the ring as Ms. Extreme calls them to come back! Ryan is pumping up the crowd as Xander looks on intently.)
Gavin Kirkland: WHY!?!!? WHY!?!?! Why did Dominion do this!
Eve: BECAUSE THEY MADE A STANCE AND IT WAS AGAINST KENNEDY STREET!
Deadprez: WE ARE OUT OF TIME BUT WE WILL SEE YOU ALL NEXT WEEK IN WEST VIRGINIA! FOR GAVIN KIRKLAND AND EVE, THIS IS PREZ… GOODNIGHT EVERYBODY!
(Pandora tries to get to the ring flailing her arms and legs as Amir hold sher up by the waist while Londyn tries to calm Jon down, they stare down at Dominion and Ms. Extreme as Pandora lets out a primal scream.)
Deadprez: The battle lines have been drawn! Oh Like this! I like this a lot!
(The final scene shows Kennedy Street watching with a scowl on her face.)
