(EAW intro plays.)
(RECAP: The recap opens with our Answers World Champion Jack Ripley discussing the defense he has against King Kass at Under Siege before calling her down to the ring. The two would have a heated exchange before the champion got the last say by using Kassidy’s own husband’s catchphrase against her to close out the segment. Last week, we saw Diamond Cage carry out Lucas after defeating him. This week, we finally got some more light shed on that as the hall of famer plans to help unleash the vicious side in Lucas Johnson. After that, Bashar Jackson and Antoine Iacob competed in the first match of the night, which would not conclude as Lucas Johnson made his presence known by taking out both men in said match, truly sending a message and showing that the Cage partnership could already have dangerous implications down the line. Up next, Consuela Rose Ava would be seen in an interview alongside Kyra Phillips, discussing the incident between her and Voltage’s IDOL-GUN. The Tag Team Champions haven’t just seemed to ruffle the feathers of one but two competitors in Jon Kelton and Consuela Rose Ava, who promised to go pay the champions and subsequently Voltage a visit. An irate Bethany Blue would be seen next, airing her grievances to the Showdown General Manager Ryan Wilson, who would alert Bethany that the no contact rule cannot be broken any more times that night or else consequences would occur, more to come on that later. Speaking of Ryan Wilson, his partner Ronan Malosi would be seen in action next up against Cage. The action was back and forth before Ronan was thrown off his game from video revealing Alissa Brady knocking on the locker room door of Justin Windgate, after that, Cage took advantage with “MURDER.DEATH.KILL.” Which would score him the win, although a tainted one as Ronan’s foot would be underneath the bottom rope, no doubt continuing the conspiracy theories. Cage’s celebration was really short lived, however, as Bethany Blue managed to take out him and his associate in Lucas Johnson on the outside. Dante Ford vs Kassidy Heart would take place next with the Answers World Champion watching from ringside, and Kass certainly put on a show and sent a message to him by making Dante Ford submit to end the match. Could this be the scene come Under Siege? Bronson Daniels vs Ryan Wilson featuring Kensington Calhoun-Astor on special guest commentary took place next, Bronson Daniels putting up a good fight but eventually succumbing to Kensington’s distraction, which left leeway for Ryan Wilson to a low blow and roll up (with extra leverage thanks to the tights) for the win, much to the enjoyment of Kensington, who proceeded to pick the scraps of an already fatigued Bronson after the match. The action would temporarily come to a halt as Harlow Reichert made her way down to the ring and reflected upon her Answers World Title match from last week, making it perfectly clear that the loss isn’t gonna stop her from competing at Under Siege, imploring anyone willing to face her to, well, come out and face her. That person was looking to be Raven Roberts before all three members of New Eden would make a shocking attack upon her before she could make it to the ring, Harlow at tampered to help “The Bird of Prey” before she soon succumbed to a beating from New Eden as well, who stood tall to close out the segment. We then found out why Alissa was seen entering Windgate’s locker room earlier, Windgate wanting to defend his championship before Under Siege. Ronan Malosi would misinterpret this to be part of the so called conspiracy against him before Ryan would tell an unhappy Ronan Malosi to keep his focus on Under Siege and winning the Interwire Championship. Ryan was seen having a little backstage confrontation with Xavier Williams up next, letting him and us the viewers know that he’s gonna be the one who Justin Windgate defends his Interwire Title against. It was time for our main event of the evening up next in Bethany Blue vs Xavier Williams, the two putting on a good match for the fans watching at home, before Cage would ruin it by interfering, costing Bethany a match which was important to her. Bethany was able to fight off the advances of Cage at first, but Lucas Johnson would attack from behind and Bethany could fight no more as the two put a bad beating on her, leading to Ryan Wilson coming out, planting Xavier Williams with a Chaos Theory, and detailing to us all his plan for next week in sending the Under Siege plans into disarray by winning the Interwire Championship, not only that, but he’d also let a downed Bethany Blue know that she was suspended indefinitely following her attack on Cage from earlier as Wilson closed out the show. The recap ends.)
(Showdown transitions right from the intro to the stage as ‘Smells Like Teen Spirit (Butch Vig Mix)’ by Nirvana blasts through the speakers to the loud cheers of the crowd as Cage makes his way out from Gorilla Position. Lucas Johnson is following behind him as Cage stands at the center of the stage, he has a nonchalant look on his face as he looks around at the virtual crowd for a moment before making his way down to the ring. He seems to be considerably calm making his way down the ramp as Lucas follows behind with a more serious look, considering right after this he has a match. Cage makes his way up the steel steps and enters into the ring as Lucas rolls in before tossing Cage a mic from the Timekeeper’s area. ‘Smells Like Teen Spirit (Butch Vig Mix)’ from there faded out as Cage paced around for a good moment before beginning to speak)
Cage: Ah I’ll talk about that shit with Bethany in a bit, let’s get to the meat and potatoes of this whole thing. People wonder and ponder on why me, Cage of all people, would take someone like Lucas Johnson under his wing. What’s the motive? Wouldn’t it be, as I said last week, a big waste of my time? Nah, for starters, I can do whatever the fuck I want. If I want to go out of the box a little bit, I’ll do that. I’d consider Lucas my underling, my protege, whatever you want to call it, because I plan to rebuild him under my wing. I see what he’s capable of, when his full potential is opened up and shown to the world, that’s why I allowed him the opportunity, that nobody has ever gotten before, to stand by my side, daring right?
Cage: It’s funny how people would consider that the equivalent of a suicide mission, why take that risk? Why take that leap of fate? Especially with someone like Lucas Johnson huh? Because why not? If I want to do it I can, nobody sees what I see in Lucas, and that’s exactly why I’m doing it. Because someone like him could be gold, could be cash, rather than just being an afterthought like he’s been all this time. So why not raise his stock by standing next to me, by having my name in association on the marquee along with him, that’s going to turn some heads isn’t it?
Cage: Now that we’ve got that out of the way, let’s talk about my Bethy shall we? Now people can blame me for the suspension, say Ryan has a bias for me and decided to suspend her and not lil ole me. But going back to the mantra that I’ve been chanting for, god knows how long now, Cage does what Cage wants. Do you honestly, and I’m being serious here, expect me to stay idle with what Bethany tried to do last week? How she poked and prodded at me? I did what I had to do, impulse I say. So I don’t want to point fingers here, but I’ll do it anyway and say she was the one that started it, I’m in the right. But ey, if she’s back by Under Siege, she’s back by Under Siege, end of the story. It doesn’t really matter to me, with or without Bethany I will continue to climb up the ranks and take back the show I once dominated however long ago as your motherfucking Champion.
(The crowd bursts into cheers as Cage simply shrugs his shoulders. He holds his mic out to Lucas but before he can take it, he quickly snatches it back)
Cage: I woulda beat Bethany anyways.
(After saying that he quickly hands the mic over to Lucas as he begins to speak as well)
Lucas Johnson: I’ll admit it, I myself was a little unsure when it came to this partnership that I had with Cage. Was I shaking hands with the Devil? Possibly, but that was for me to behold. But I’d say it’s going pretty damn well. Considering the fact that I’ve had my own mean streak, I give my appreciation to Cage to that. For, as he said, turning the heads of many in the direction that it should’ve been for years, and that was me. And my power will continue to grow, one victory at a time, and I’m very certain that will happen. I don’t just call myself The Blueprint for no reason, because I have that, I’ve always had the key to everything that I truly desired, the execution is what counts, and I found exactly what it needs to be right here.
Lucas Johnson: So by all means, I think it’s time for me to give a little preview to Kid Ohio about what’s going to go down in the Interwire contendership match. And whoever else is in that match, by all means can watch it go down with us. When I get the sweet taste of victory once more, and come out on top, I hope it sends a warning to each and every one of you. Where are you Kid Ohio.
(‘King is Born’ by Alec Blacc plays throughout the arena, much to the chagrin of the Showdown audience, not exactly favoring the cocky Kid Ohio as he makes his way down to the ring exuding said cockiness.)
Gina Romano: The following contest is scheduled for…ONE FALL!!
Virtual Crowd: ONE FALL!!
Gina Romano: Introducing first! Already in the ring, hailing out of Long Island, New York, weighing in at 210 pounds, accompanied to the ring by Cage…HE IS ‘THE BLUEPRINT’…LUCAS JOHNSON!!
Gina Romano: And his opponent! Hailing out of Cleveland, Ohio, weighing in this morning at 218 pounds…HE IS ‘PERFECTION PERSONIFIED’….KID OHIO!!
Deadprez: Kid Ohio has been on a bit of a hiatus following that match with Justin Windgate at King of Elite, which ended in a losing effort for Ohio. But now he’s back, and after the impressive performance he put on at King of Elite, he already has a new opportunity to look forward to for Under Siege.
Eve: Yep, and so does Lucas Johnson, which is why both men are competing here against each other tonight. A little preview, if you will. Who will beat the other tonight? And who will be walking out of Under Siege as number one contender to the Interwire Championship?
Gavin Kirkland: I have never been so conflicted, I mean, big money Ohio would be great, but so would big dick Lucas!
Eve: :comeagain:
Gavin Kirkland: I’ll be fine with whoever wins this match, I guess. :wow:
(Lucas and Ohio both settle themselves inside the ring as the referee signals to ring the bell.)
(DING! DING! DING!)
Eve: The bell has rung and this match is officially underway, Kid Ohio seemingly having his eyes on Cage, trying to make sure he doesn’t pull anything. But Kid Ohio is forgetting the most important rule of wrestling, NEVER TURN YOUR BACK ON YOUR OPPONENT! LUCAS JOHNSON JUST TOOK OHIO DOWN WITH A HUGE CLOTHESLINE AND GOES FOR THE PIN!
ONNNNNNEEEEEEEEE!!
TWWWWWOOOOOOOOOO!!
Deadprez: OHIO KICKS OUT, and looks to get back to his feet after that close call. But Lucas takes advantage of a rocked Kid Ohio, shoving him in the corner. AND- OH! A BIG KNIFE EDGE CHOP ACROSS THE CHEST OF KID OHIO ECHOES THROUGHOUT THIS THEATRE! ANOTHER CHOP CONNECTS, AND KID OHIO SINKS DOWN INTO THE CORNER!
Eve: Kid Ohio may have prevented any more chops across the chest, but he can’t prevent the mudhole Lucas Johnson is stomping in him right now. The referee is gonna have no choice but to create some distance between the two as Lucas tries to pursue Ohio again in the corner, but he only gets a kick to the knee for his troubles! Kid Ohio comes out of the corner, maybe looking to fight out of it, rebounding Lucas Johnson off the ropes!
Deadprez: AND LUCAS RUNS INTO DROPKICK FROM OHIO! Lucas looks to retreat to the outside, but Ohio follows him out there, smashing the face of Lucas Johnson off the barricade! It was so nice, it looks like Lucas is gonna try it twice, but this time Lucas gets his hands in front to block it, before slamming Kid Ohio face-first in the barricade himself!
Gavin Kirkland: That’s gonna damage that perfect mug of Ohio. :mjcry:
Eve: I don’t think he really cares as he picks Ohio up on his shoulders and begins heading towards those steel steps- BUT LOOK! KID OHIO SLIPS OUT BEHIND LUCAS JOHNSON AND SHOVES HIM RIBS FIRST INTO THE STEEL STEPS! Ohio throws Lucas back into the ring, and delivers some kicks to the midsection on Lucas while he was attempting to recover in the corner!
Deadprez: Ohio continues with the barrage of offense, but Lucas comes fighting out of the corner with a forearm smash which stuns Ohio. Another forearm strike lands flush from Johnson! And Ohio gets locked into the front Facelock, Lucas seems to be about to plant Ohio with a DDT, but look at Kid! He’s squirming in that position, doing everything he can to break free, and that’s making things a little bit difficult for Lucas Johnson!
Eve: Kid Ohio finally breaks free, pushing Lucas off, and scrambling over by the ropes! LUCAS ATTEMPTS TO CHARGE IN AT OHIO, BUT OHIO SUCKERED HIM IN AND DROPS HIM THROAT FIRST ON THE TOP ROPE WITH A STUN GUN! Lucas Johnson has no choice but to double over after that, desperately trying to get some wind back into his sails. Kid Ohio realizes this, AND TAKES ADVANTAGE WITH A HARD KNEE LIFT THAT SENDS LUCAS DOWN! A COVER IS MADE!
ONNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEE!!
TWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOO!!
Deadprez: There’s a kickout from Lucas Johnson! Ohio isn’t stunned, however, Ohio realizes he has to keep the punishment on Lucas Johnson if he wants to walk out with a victory here tonight. That’s why you’re seeing Ohio reign down with punch after punch after punch to a Lucas who’s trying to get back to a vertical base in this match, Kid Ohio refuses to let him.
Eve: Lucas shows some signs of life here, throwing well placed shots to the body of Ohio that gets him to back off a bit. Lucas starts getting back to his feet, BUT OHIO IS RIGHT ON HIM AND SENDS HIM BACK DOWN WITH A BRIDGING NORTHERN LIGHTS SUPLEX! REFEREE GETS INTO POSITION!
ONNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEE!!
TWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOO!!
TH-
Eve: A KICKOUT FROM LUCAS JOHNSON! You gotta give him credit for staying in this thing, but the question is: how long can he do that for?
Gavin Kirkland: Lucas Johnson has the stamina of 1000 men, we could be here all night!
Eve: :wow:
Deadprez: Kid Ohio brings Lucas back to his feet, and whips him into the corner! HERE COMES KID OH- LUCAS GETS THE BOOT UP, AND IT STAGGERS OHIO! LUCAS COMES OUT OF THE CORNER WITH A CLOTHESLINE, AND ANOTHER BIG CLOTHESLINE! OHIO JUMPS TO HIS FEET ONCE MORE TO TRY AND REGAIN CONTROL, BUT LUCAS SHOWS OFF SOME POWER WITH A BELLY-TO-BELLY SUPLEX!
Eve: Kid Ohio uses the ropes to try and regain some footing here, LUCAS GRABS KID OHIO FROM BEHIND AND LAUNCHES HIM IN THE AIR AND DOWN ONTO HIS NECK WITH A GERMAN SUPLEX! Kid Ohio is in a world of trouble as Lucas lifts him to a kneeling position by his chin. LUCAS RUNS OFF THE ROPES FOR A SHINING WIZARD THAT JUST MAY HAVE KID OHIO SEEING STARS RIGHT NOW!
Deadprez: And right now, Lucas is seeing RED as he sizes Kid Ohio up from the corner. I think we can all see where this looks to be headed!
Gavin Kirkland: Not the face, Lucas, not the face! :damn:
Deadprez: LUCAS COMES CHARGING IN AT KID OHIO! CLAYMORE KI- SUPERKICK! …DENIED! THE PICTURE PERFECT SUPERKICKING FOOT OF KID OHIO WAS CAUGHT, AND LUCAS SPINS HIM AROUND! SKULL CRUSHING FINALE ATTEMPT MADE- BUT OHIO BREAKS OUT OF IT WITH A SNAPMARE THAT LUCAS IMMEDIATELY GETS UP FROM!
Eve: LUCAS RUNS AT OHIO, BUT OHIO SIDESTEPS WHATEVER HE WAS GOING FOR AND SENDS HIM THROUGH THE MIDDLE ROPE! LUCAS IMMEDIATELY ATTEMPTS TO RUN BACK IN, BUT OHIO CATCHES HIM WITH A QUICK SMALL CRADLE TO TAKE THE VICTORY HERE!
ONNNNNEEEEEEEEE!!
TWWWWWWOOOOOOOO!!
THHRRRR-
Deadprez: LUCAS JOHNSON NARROWLY ESCAPES DEFEAT THERE! BOTH MEN SCRAMBLE BACK TO THEIR FEET, KID OHIO DUCKS UNDER A CLOTHESLINE ATTEMPT FROM LUCAS AND BEGINS RUNNING OFF THE ROPES! LUCAS RUNS OFF THE OPPOSING ROPE, IT LOOKS LIKE ANOTHER CLAYMORE ATTEMPT WILL BE MADE!
Eve: BUT OHIO LEAPS INTO THE AIR BEFORE JOHNSON CAN JUMP FOR IT, AND SPIKES HIM DOWN WITH A JUMPING DDT! THE PERFECT CATCH CONNECTS! But as you can see, Ohio isn’t looking to make a pin just yet. No, he’s opting to stalk Lucas Johnson, he’s opting to wait for him to get back to his feet. Ohio has a plan and that plan could end the match right now, right here.
Deadprez: PERFECT’D…ATTEMPT AND FAIL! LUCAS HELD ON TO THE TOP ROPE! KID OHIO GETS SENT OFF OF LUCAS, BUT OHIO IS PERSISTENT AND COMES RUNNING BACK! LUCAS FIRES A LIVE ROUND BIG BOOT FROM THE ROPES THAT KNOCKS OHIO DOWN A PEG! AND LUCAS STARTS SCALING THE TOP ROPE, BACK TURNED TO HIS OPPONENT!
Gavin Kirkland: MOONSAULT!! THE MOONSAULT CONNECTED ON A STANDING KID OHIO, AND LUCAS HOLDS THE LEG OF OHIO UP FOR A PIN!
ONNNNNNEEEEEEEEE!!
TWWWWWOOOOOOOOOO!!
THHHRRRRREEEE-
Eve: OHIO REMAINS IN THIS ONE! Lucas can’t believe it, as Ohio rolls over parallel to the corner! LUCAS RUNS, LEAPS TO THE MIDDLE ROPE, AND COMES DOWN ON OHIO WITH A SLINGSHOT BODY SPLASH- NO WAIT!! OHIO GOT HIS FOOT UP, NO, LUCAS CAUGHT THE FOOT AND USES IT TO LOCK OHIO IN THE ANKLE LOCK!! THE ANKLE LOCK IS LOCKED IN, OHIO IS TRYING TO REACH FOR THOSE ROPES, BUT LUCAS DRAGS HIM AWAY QUICKLY!
Deadprez: KID OHIO HAS NOWHERE TO GO, AND IF HE’S IN THAT HOLD FOR MUCH LONGER, I COULD SEE HIM TAPPING OUT! BUT KID OHIO ROLLS TO HIS BACK, AND HE KICKS LUCAS JOHNSON AWAY! Kid Ohio tries to get back to his feet with this rare moment of opportunity, BUT LUCAS RECOVERS AND QUICKLY PLANTS HIM WITH A DDT! NOT JUST THAT, LUCAS TRANSITIONS WITH A TRIANGLE CHOKE TO KID OHIO!
Eve: THE LIFE OF “PERFECTION PERSONIFIED” IS ABOUT TO BE CHOKED RIGHT OUT OF HIM, LUCAS WITH A BIG ELBOWS TO THE FOREHEAD OF KID OHIO WHILE HE’S IN THAT CHOKE! KID OHIO LOOKS FOR ANY WAY OUT, GOING AS FAR TO EVEN GRAB THE HAIR OF LUCAS JOHNSON AND USE IT TO SLAM THE BACK OF HIS HEAD OFF THE MAT! Lucas finally releases the hold, Kid Ohio is gonna get a brief reprimanding for those actions, but he doesn’t seem to really care, he’s just happy he escaped the triangle choke!
Deadprez: Lucas Johnson uses the corner to bring himself back up, BUT KID OHIO ISN’T GONNA GIVE HIM A MOMENT TO BREATHE WITH A STINGER SPLASH AND NECKBREAKER IN THE CENTER OF THE RING TO FOLLOW IT UP! OHIO LOOKS TO PIN AFTER THE GREAT COMBO!
ONNNNNEEEEEEEEEEE!!
TWWWWWOOOOOOOOOO!!
Deadprez: NO! LUCAS IS IN THIS THING TO THE VERY END, scratching, clawing his way up Kid Ohio try and regain his footing. Ohio pushes Lucas away, and THE PICTURE PERFECT SUPERKICK CONNECTS RIGHT ACROSS THE FACE TO A KNEELING LUCAS! OHIO SCORES THE COVER!
ONNNNEEEEEEEEE!!
TWWWWOOOOOOOOO!!
THHHHRRRRRREEEEEEEEE!!
Gavin Kirkland: THIS MATCH IS OVER!
Deadprez: WAIT! CAGE JUST PULLED THE REFEREE OUT OF THE RING, AND THE TWO ARE HAVING A LITTLE SQUABBLE ON THE OUTSIDE!
Eve: Kid Ohio is understandably upset about this interference from Cage and peaks his upper body through the middle rope, trying to tell Cage off! BUT FROM BEHIND, LUCAS JOHNSON WITH A SCHOOL BOY ROLL UP! THE REFEREE TAKES HIS ATTENTION OFF OF CAGE AND RUNS BACK IN THE RING TO COUNT!
ONNNNEEEEEEEE!!
TWWWWWOOOOOOOO!!
THHHHHHRRRRRREEEEEEE!!
(DING! DING! DING!)
Gina Romano: HERE’S YOUR WINNER…LUCAS JOHNSON!!
(‘Young and Bitter’ by Hot Tag Media plays as Lucas Johnson celebrates his victory alongside Cage, much to the shock of a stunned Kid Ohio.)
Eve: I can’t believe this, Kid Ohio had the match won right then and there.
Gavin Kirkland: True, but did he win? No! That distinction goes to LUCAS JOHNSON!
Deadprez: We had to have expected Cage’s presence on the outside would play some role, and we just found out said role, Cage making sure his investment of sorts wins the match.
Eve: It was said earlier, it’ll be said again, this pairing spells danger for the rest of the Showdown locker room. I mean, when you have a Hall of Famer somewhat mentoring you like Cage is, you can achieve a lot here.
(Kid Ohio is seen storming out of the arena as Cage and Lucas continue to celebrate, as the crowd oddly begins to erupt.)
Gavin Kirkland: HOLY SHIT!
Eve: ITS BETHANY BLUE! BETHANY BLUE JUST CAME FROM UNDER THE RING AND ATTACKED BOTH MEN FROM BEHIND!
Deadprez: HOW CAN THIS HAPPEN?! BETHANY BLUE IS SUPPOSED TO BE SUSPENDED!
Eve: SHE TOLD IT TO GENERAL MANAGER WILSON LAST WEEK, HE CANNOT CONTROL HER, AND SHE’S PROVING JUST THAT RIGHT ABOUT NOW! TJD CONNECTS ON A FATIGUED LUCAS JOHNSON, HE IS DOWN, HE IS OUT! AND BETHANY TURNS HER ATTENTION TO CAGE, WHO GETS A TJD OF HIS OWN!
Deadprez: YOU HAVE TO IMAGINE OUR GENERAL MANAGER IS GOING BERSERK RIGHT NOW, HIS RULES HAVE ONCE AGAIN BEEN DEFIED BY A DEFIANT BETHANY BLUE, WHO JUST SLIPPED ON THE NITRILE GLOVE, WE ALL KNOW WHAT’S COMING NEXT! SAY AHHHH! IS IN ON CAGE, THE MANDIBLE CLAW IS IN! CAGE TRIES TO PRY THAT HAND OF BETHANY OUT OF HIS MOUTH BUT BETHANY FORCES HIM DOWN TO THE GROUND WITH THAT SUBMISSION MANEUVER!
Eve: IS BETHANY GONNA SEND THE ULTIMATE MESSAGE HERE BY KNOCKING CAGE OUT?!
(Cage looks to be fading before noticing the ropes next to him and using them to pull himself out of the ring, breaking himself free from the clutches of Bethany Blue.)
Eve: Cage just narrowly escaped, and when I say narrowly, I mean narrowly. Bethany Blue was that close to sending a lasting message to Cage right there.
Deadprez: I don’t think she needed to pass him out in order to do that, Bethany just gave Cage a little taste of what’s in store for him at Under Siege.
Cage: (off-mic) TRUST ME, YOU ARE DEAD! UNDER SIEGE, YOU ARE DEAD!! DO YOU UNDERSTAND ME?!
(The cheers of the audience soon turn to boos as officers, undoubtedly sent here by Ryan Wilson, march their way down to the ring and begin to handcuff a resisting Bethany Blue.)
Deadprez: NAH, DAWG! UNCUFF HER, LET THEM FIGHT, THINGS ARE HEATING UP HERE!
(The officers begin to escort Bethany up the ramp before running into Cage, who spits in the face of a defenseless Bethany.)
Eve: If that isn’t disrespect from the Hall of Famer, I don’t know what is. BUT BETHANY ISN’T GONNA TAKE THAT LYING DOWN AS SHE BEGINS KICKING AT CAGE, USING ANYTHING SHE CAN TO STILL FIGHT! BUT CAGE IS ANSWERING BACK WITH A HARD PUNCHES TO THE HEAD, AND THERE’S NOTHING BETHANY CAN DO TO BLOCK IT!
(The officers continue to try and escort Bethany Blue out of the arena, while Cage continues to try and get his pound of flesh, thankfully held back by one of the officers so he can’t do so as the camera fades to black.)
(Showdown transitions to the backstage area of the World 1 Theatre as Kyra Phillips is making her way through the backstage area. She seems to be excited before she’s stopped at her destination. Two beefy security guards are seen guarding the door in front of her as she looks at both of them. The camera pans over to show the door as there’s a piece of paper slapped on there that reads “strawberry steve pls knock” as the crowd has a thunderous pop for the prestigious Big Bherry Bhampion)
Security Guard #1: Unfortunately Strawberry Steve isn’t accepting visitors.
Security Guard #2: We request you to please leave, he prefers to nurse his injury in private.
Kyra Phillips: Woah woah woah, injury? Can you provide more detail to that? Is Strawberry Steve ok after his match last week?
Security Guard #2: We assure you he’ll be fine, but he requests not to go into details, please leave ma’am-
(The guard is interrupted as he hears something through his earpiece. He presses up against it before responding with a simple “yes” as he begins to take out the key to the door)
Security Guard #2: Fortunately for you he has given you a special exception.
(The door is opened as Kyra is fascinated by what she sees inside. Inside the private locker room she sees disco strobe lights circle around the entire room itself as ‘Mr. Brightside’ by The Killers is playing faintly in the background off of a jukebox. Although the lights are dimmed, you can see the room is coated in a hot pink, only fitting for someone of his nature. As the camera pans around it then focuses on the one and only. The crowd cheers loudly once more as Strawberry Steve is seen seated on a beach chair with the Big Bherry Bhampionship resting on his lap. He has his sunglasses on as per it’s hard to tell if he’s awake or not. Kyra makes his way over as she seems intimidated to tap on his shoulder but does. Steve’s head slowly tilts to face her as Kyra slowly begins to speak)
Kyra Phillips: Thank you for inviting me to your personal locker room Steve, I just wanted to get an update on the injury that I was apparently told about that you suffered two weeks ago in your grueling match against Strawberry Steve.
(A long pause of silence is heard before Steve shows some life again, turning his head even more to show his gruesome injury. In reality, it’s just a small bandaid on his cheek)
Kyra Phillips: :lupe: Well glad to see you’re doing alright. If it’s possible, can we get a timeframe? How long are you going to be out of action for? Even more, is it going to be a possibility that you’ll come back to defend your Big Bherry Championship-
(Kyra is about to speak more before being interrupted by Steve, he brings his arm out and grabs the mic, slowly taking it away from Kyra’s hands. Steve brings the mic up as, to the shock of many, he sits up in his seat, and begins to speak)
Strawberry Steve: I will be back soon enough to defend the most prestigious title on the blue brand and the whole company.
(The crowd cheers loudly as Steve hands the mic slowly back to Kyra and slouches back down in his chair. Kyra, getting the gist, begins to walk out of the personal locker room. As soon as he does, the two security guards slam the door shut and begin to search her just in case she left with contraband)
Security Guard #1: HEY! WHAT IS THIS?!
(The guard pulls something out of Kyra’s pocket, a strawberry)
Security Guard #1: Can you explain this?!
Kyra Phillips: I a-assure you I didn’t put that there.
Security Guard #2: Talk to the Judge.
(The guards open the door once more quickly as Steve, surprisingly, is seen looking directly at the three of them as he continues to stay seated in his beach chair. He gives his signature thumbs up as that’s the last shot seen before the camera from there, fades out to commercial break)
(A commercial for Walmart starring Cage where he shows off the firearms section)
(Showdown comes back from commercial break to another part of the backstage area where Kensingten Calhoun-Astor is doing some stretches before her match against The Woogieman. Even though there is a part of her that feels like she has this match in the bag, she’s still stretching, not wanting to pull anything.)
???: Wow, it’s shocking that you’re here.
(Kensingten Calhoun-Astor stops her arm stretches and sighs before looking at Bronson Daniels.)
Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: Pardon me, Mr. Daniels?
Bronson Daniels: Don’t “pardon me,” bitch. It’s a surprise that you decided to show your face around here. I thought that you’d be looking to duck me after the shit that you pulled last week. I had Ryan Wilson where I wanted him until you decided to show your Little House of the Prairie looking ass.
Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: An eye for an eye, Mr. Daniels.
Bronson Daniels: You wanted to get revenge for me getting revenge for you costing me a shot to face Justin Windgate at Under Siege? :wtf: I called what happened to you two weeks ago on Voltage as ‘getting even.’ You got what you rightfully deserved after you cost me a chance to win that fatal-4-way match. Instead of just moving on between the situation between the two of us, YOU had to escalate it even more. You could have not stuck your nose into my business last week.
Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: Just like you could have never shown your hideous looking face on Voltage in my match against Miss Blair. My issues on Showdown should have remained on Showdown. I had a ton on my plate and the last thing that I wanted to do was have it all spill out two more than one brand. From working on this whole marriage with the Prince to my issues with IDOL-GUN to those whole thing with you, I do believe that you should have waited your turn, Mr. Daniels.
Bronson Daniels: “Wait my turn?” Is this a check out line? Do I need to wait behind everyone else just because they were there before me? That’s not how shit works with me, Kensingten. I’ve had my issues with you since the moment that you showed your face on Showdown, but you got on my shit list when you interfered in my Interwire Championship contenders match.
Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: Are you going to add the part where you were rude to me for no reason at all?
Bronson Daniels: Are you going to forget the part where you were CRYING about how much you didn’t want to be here? “I got soooo much on my plate! 😭😭 I don’t wanna be here no more!” You are so pathetic. :mjlol: I’m sorry, I am doing everything I can to keep a straight face, but I didn’t need to confront you, but I thought the interview that you were trying to do was hilarious as fuck. I told you the thing that everyone was thinking and that was that NOBODY wants you here, Kensingten and…they still don’t. You are nothing, but a waste of roster space.
Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: Showdown is the roster with the most roster space out of the three brands. At least, that’s what my uncle Jon said.
Bronson Daniels: Look, I don’t know much about the details. I do my homework, but that little point was something that I need to fact check, but out of all the people that Ryan Wilson could have traded for, it HAD to be you?
Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: Showdown could use a lady like myself on the brand. Ryan Wilson should be more than thrilled to have a woman of class like myself. A woman with manners who knows how to converse and have an outstanding back-and-forth discussion with someone like yourself, Mr. Daniels. Dealing with you has made me lose a bit of brain cells, but I refuse to stoop down to your level and feed into the negativity that you’ve been in my experience on Showdown. I wanted a clean slate when coming onto Showdown. I wanted to show everyone that I meant what I said on Voltage. I wanted to prove that I’m a changed woman. I understand that I’ve done a lot of questionable things in the past and in a way, you have as well, Mr. Daniels. Didn’t you help stir the pot with Jake Smith and two other women a year ago? Yet, you want to parade around like you have good morals?
Bronson Daniels: That was amazing. :mjlol:
Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: Such a typical man. I’ll be on my way.
(Kensingten Calhoun-Astor is not going to continue conversing with Bronson Daniels, so she begins to walk away.)
Bronson Daniels: Racist bitch.
(Kensingten Calhoun-Astor stops in her tracks as she looks back at Bronson Daniels.)
Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: What was that?
(Kensingten Calhoun-Astor walks closer to Bronson Daniels.)
Bronson Daniels: I called you a racist bitch —
(Kensingten Calhoun-Astor nails Bronson Daniels with ‘The Southern Swag Shot.’ The tko punch takes the former New Breed Champion down before locking him in the ‘Something to Cry About’ — the kimura lock. Bronson is trying to break free of the submission hold, but Kensingten has the submission move locked into to the best of her abilities. A ton of referees begin to interfere, trying to rip Kensingten away from Bronson, but Kensingten isn’t letting that happen. Instead, she applies more pressure onto the hold until Bronson delivers the most devastating scream of pain that anyone could have ever heard.)
(Kensingten releases the submission hold as Bronson clutches his arm, holding it as he breathes in pain. The referees try to back Kensingten away as Kensingten is looking at her perfectly manicured nails. Nothing was chipped as she grins and begins to back away Bronson Daniels. The last shot is of referees asking for medical personnel to come to the aid of Bronson.)
( From there the camera then cuts to another area of the backstage where we see Ryan Wilson stretching and loosening up before he’s interrupted by a voice )
???: Hey, Ryan you got a minute?
( Ryan Wilson stops his training before turning around and seeing a concerned yet friendly face in Ronan Malosi )
Ryan Wilson: Sure, Ronan, what’s up man?
Ronan Malosi: I’ve been thinking a lot about tonight. Both good and bad.
Ryan Wilson: Bad? What do you mean? How could my winning the Interwire Championship possibly be bad?
Ronan Malosi: Well not bad for you, but our friendship. You know I’m slated to challenge for it at Under Siege, and I’m just worried that belt will come in between us and our friendship, and that’s the last thing I want. We’ve overcome so mu–
Ryan Wilson: Ronan, Ronan, Ronan… Look, tonight, after I beat Justin Windgate for the Interwire Championship– history will be made. Not just once, but twice. I’ll have won my first Interwire Championship, but the second historical thing is…We’ll share it. We’ll be co-Interwire Champions, you and I!
Ronan Malosi: .. Wow, really?
Ryan Wilson: Why yes my friend. The first co-Interwire Champions in some time actually, the last co-Interwire Champions since —
Ronan Malosi: Jon Kelton and that other guy… yeah yeah, I know :wow: He reminds me every ten minutes. But you’d really want to be co-Interwire Champion with me?
Ryan Wilson: Of course!
Ronan Malosi: Well that actually sounds great, Ryan. I was a little worried they would make us fight again, and try to tear our beautiful friendship apart. I mean you know how these people are.
Ryan Wilson: My friend, you have absolutely nothing to worry about! We’ll make Showdown bend to our will! We’ll be kings amongst peasants! You and I ruling this brand with an iron fist!
Ronan Malosi: Well I’m already kind of a big deal amongst the Applebee’s wait staff but I’d love for that fame to translate over into EAW! But I just don’t see them letting that happen for us! I’m telling you Ryan, there’s people out there working against up! Conspiring to make sure our dream of being co-champions never comes to fruition! They want us to fight! They want us to argue! They’re after us– THEY’RE AFTER ME!
(Ryan Wilson places his arms behind his head as Ronan Malosi continues his rant, and the look on Ryan Wilson’s face can be seen as nothing less than annoyance )
Ronan Malosi: Think about it Ryan! Why would they even give you this opportunity, knowing the winner goes on to face me at Under Siege!?!?! The conspirators are chomping at the bit! They–
Ryan Wilson: RONAN KNOCK IT OFF WOULD YOU! No one is conspiring against you. I already told you, we’d be co-champions, you keep this up you’re going to make me reconsider that sentiment. I need to be focused for my match tonight, and I need you to have and keep a clear head! So enough about the damn conspiracies!
Ronan Malosi: I’m sorry man, I just feel–
Ryan Wilson: Zip it. Go flip a burger or, wash some dishes, do whatever the hell you need to do to get a clear head, my friend. No more of this conspiracy business.
( Ryan Wilson walks away as Ronan Malosi stares from afar in disbelief and slight anguish that his best-friend has dismissed his claims )
( The camera fades to commercial.)
(Commercial for CBD Oils and Vapes starring Justin Windgate airs.)
(The audience roars with anticipation as the camera cuts over to the center of the ring where Gina Romano is waiting with a mic in hand and a gleeful smile on her face.)
Gina Romano: THE FOLLOWING CONTEST IS SCHEDULED FOR…ONE FALL!!
Virtual Crowd: ONE FALL!!
(‘We Appreciate Power’ by Grimes plays to a largely positive reaction from the EAW fans as Consuela comes out from the curtain, walking alongside Jon Kelton.)
Gina Romano: Introducing first! Hailing out of Frias, Spain, weighing in at 120 pounds, accompanied to the ring by Jon Kelton…SHE IS ‘THE PERFECTIONIST’…CONSUELA ROSE AVA!!
Eve: It may be unusual for some fans to see Jon Kelton and Consuela Rose Ava together but their United for one reason and one reason only, mutual dislike for the Tag Team Champions in IDOL-GUN.
Deadprez: That is true, IDOL-GUN has made enemy out of these two elitists, and you have to question their thought process there. If you’d wanna make an enemy out of anyone, why Consuela Rose Ava and Jon Kelton?
Eve: Yeah, why make enemies out of two fairly accomplished competitors in their own rights in Jon Kelton and Consuela Rose Ava?
Gavin Kirkland: I love Consuela Rose Ava, I like Jon Kelton, but let’s be honest, their accomplishments are way in the past. This is the now and IDOL-GUN’s accomplishments speak for themselves, tag team champions. They’ve been in this company for a cup of coffee and are already champions. If that doesn’t impress you, I don’t know what will.
Eve: It is very, very impressive. But they’ve barely been in wrestling, they’ve barely been in EAW as you mentioned, they lack experience and lack of experience leads to mistakes being made. You can’t make a mistake in front of Consuela or she will be right there to take advantage of each and every single one of em.
(Consuela settles into the ring as ‘Dream In Drive’ The Oral Cigarettes blares to a largely negative reception as Hikari Kanno makes her way down to the ring alongside Miku Sakai.)
Gina Romano: And her opponent! Hailing out of Okinawa, Japan, weighing in at 121 pounds, accompanied to the ring by Miku Sakai…SHE IS ONE HALF OF THE EAW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS…HIKARI KANNO!!
Gavin Kirkland: You talk about making mistakes, those two ladies parents didn’t when they birthed those two goddesses. :shaq:
Eve: :wow: Hikari Kanno is going into this match with Consuela Rose Ava and while this match may not be for the title, it can still be huge for the champion in beating someone the caliber of Consuela Rose Ava.
Deadprez: Yeah, Consuela Rose Ava, someone who’s looked amazing as of late with the new found sense of confidence.
Eve: But when there’s confidence, there’s also cockiness and I think IDOL-GUN teeter that line every time they’re out here.
(Both competitors settle into the ring while Jon Kelton and Miku eye each other from across the ring, paying close attention to make sure one doesn’t try to screw over the other’s associate here.)
(DING! DING! DING!)
Eve: This match is officially underway and both Hikari and Consuela are jockeying for position in a collar and elbow tieup, Hikari manages to get the advantage over Consuela with a side headlock that soon gets turned into a side headlock takedown, Hikari is in firm control.
Deadprez: While that may be true, someone like Consuela isn’t gonna let Hikari keep it for long as she begins working her way back to her feet in the side headlock. Consuela begins to back Hikari over to the ropes and attempts to rebound her off of them to escape the headlock, but Hikari nips that attempt right in the bud, dropping down to one knee while keeping said headlock in.
Eve: Smart move by Hikari, but did she only just buy herself a bit more time as Consuela gets back to a vertical base once more. Not just that, Consuela throws some well placed shots to the body of Hikari, undoubtedly loosening the grip around her head before attempting to throw her off the ropes again, this time she is successful in her efforts! But Hikari comes rebounding off the ropes with a shoulder block that takes Consuela down!
Deadprez: Hikari runs off the parallel rope to the downed Consuela, but Consuela turns to her stomach, forcing Hikari to jump over, and come bouncing back off the ropes to meet a DROPKICK FROM CONSUELA ROSE AVA! That one caught Hikari flush, and Consuela quickly shoots into a grounded side headlock on Hikari, perhaps giving her a little taste of her own medicine here.
Eve: Hikari works her way back up to her feet now, and this time backs Consuela up into the corner, the referee gonna have to force these two to seperate.
Referee: ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR! FI-
Eve: Consuela finally releases that headlock on Hikari while she’s in the corner, and Hikari shoves the face of Consuela, showing a little disrespect here. Consuela doesn’t look to be happy after that, AND COMES OUT OF THE CORNER WITH A BIG BOOT THAT STAGGERS HIKARI BACK! Consuela comes out of the corner, and finally gets ahold of Kanno, who goes behind Consuela with a rear waistlock!
Gavin Kirkland: Imagine having Consuela in that position, better yet, imagine having Hikari in that position, wait! Better yet, imagine having in that pos-
(Eve grabs the headset of Gavin and tosses it to the side, making him go to retrieve it as she continues talking.)
Eve: Consuela is trying to pry those hands of Hikari from around her waist and is becoming fairly successful in her efforts, but Hikari senses this and whips Consuela back into the corner! And like a locomotive, Hikari charges in! BUT CONSUELA GETS THE BOOT UP, NO, HIKARI HAD IT SCOUTED AND CAUGHT THE FOOT! CONSUELA USES THE GROUNDED ONE FOR A ROUNDHOUSE KICK THAT HITS ITS MARK!
Deadprez: Hikari is certainly stunned after that one, as Consuela takes this moment to scale to the top rope! Hikari may not wanna turn around because what awaits her will not be pleasant! DIVING CROSSBODY, AND CONSUELA HOLDS IT FOR A PIN!
ONNNNEEEEEEE!!
TW-
Deadprez: A quick kickout done by Hikari, still a little bit early on in this match. Hikari tries to roll out of the ring after that pinfall, looking to create some space and separation. Consuela is quick to follow, hot on the heels of Hikari. Hikari slides in the ring first, Consuela comes second, but before she can even get back to her feet, Hikari pounces on her with a flurry of stomps! Hikari brings Consuela to her feet and whips her off the ropes- wait!
Eve: Consuela hangs on to the ropes, Hikari charges at her, but gets tossed overhead to the outside! Consuela gets on the apron, stalking Hikari Kanno. PENALTY KICK FROM CONSUELA, YOU COULD HEAR THE NOISE THROUGHOUT THIS ENTIRE BUILDING, Miku is even cringing for her partner right now, but there’s nothing she can do especially with Jon Kelton here.
Gavin Kirkland: It’s no fair Jon Kelton gets to the lucky man with all these women around him. :shaq:
Eve: Don’t worry, I’m sure IDOL-GUN doesn’t need anymore simps after them.
Gavin Kirkland: :will:
Deadprez: Meanwhile, Consuela leaps from the apron and takes Hikari Kanno down with a hurricanrana, athleticism on full display there, and now Consuela throws Kanno back into the ring! A pin is made!
ONNNNNEEEEEEEE!!
TWWWWOOOOOOOOO!!
Deadprez: Another kickout by Kanno! Consuela ponders her next offensive move after that, while Hikari uses the ropes to bring herself back up! Consuela isn’t gonna allow that to happen and rebounds Hikari off of said ropes, or well, attempted to as Hikari turns it around and Consuela goes rebounding instead! CONSUELA TRIES TO COME BACK WITH A CLOTHESLINE, HIKARI DUCKS UNDER AND DROPS CONSUELA ON THE BACK OF HER HEAD WITH A GERMAN SUPLEX!
Eve: Consuela is visibly in some pain as she rolls back to her feet off that German Suplex! HIKARI LANDS A STIFF BIG BOOT THAT TURNS CONSUELA AROUND, AND HIKARI LEAPS INTO THE AIR FOR A JUMPING NECKBREAKER THAT TAKES CONSUELA DOWN! A COVER IS MADE HERE!
ONNNNNNEEEEEEEEE!!
TWWWWOOOOOOOOOO!!
Eve: KICKOUT! You can see Hikari isn’t exactly happy with that revelation, but Hikari is not tag champion for no reason, RUNNING OFF THE ROPES AND ATTEMPTING WHAT WOULD SEEM TO BE A BASEMENT BIG BOOT TO THE SEATED CONSUELA, WHO DROPS DOWN ONTO HER BACK, AVOIDING THAT BOOT FROM HIKARI!
Deadprez: CONSUELA GRABS HIKARI INTO A SCHOOL GIRL ROLLUP, BUT DOESN’T EVEN HOLD THE PIN, INSTEAD OPTS TO ROLL HIKARI OVER TO A KNEELING POSITION! ROUNDHOUSE KICK ATTEMPT…AND FAIL BY CONSUELA! HIKARI CAUGHT THE LEG, AND TURNS IT INTO A DRAGON SCREW LEG WHIP!
Eve: That could’ve damaged the leg of Consuela Rose Ava, and if you neutralize the leg, that makes your chances of beating Rose higher, we know she likes to utilize a lot of moves involving those educated feet. Consuela gets back to her feet, clutching at the leg attacked by Hikari, before Ava takes a wild swing at Hikari which gets easily ducked!
Deadprez: Not just that, Hikari ducks it and traps her in a hammerlock, AND THE TRAPPED ARM OF CONSUELA GETS THROWN INTO THE CORNER TURNBUCKLE! Hikari is just picking apart the body of Ava, Jon Kelton noticeably having a bit of worry, trying to root Consuela on. Hikari lifts Consuela up by the back of her gear before hooking her into a full Nelson. DRAGON SU- NO! CONSUELA COUNTERS AND TURNS IT INTO A VICTORY ROLL!
ONNNNNEEEEEEEE!!
TWWWWOOOOOOOOOO!!
TH-
Eve: KICKOUT BY HIKARI AS SHE AND CONSUELA MOVE BACK TO THEIR FEET! THRUST KICK FROM KANNO THAT SENDS AVA INTO THE ROPES, BUT CONSUELA BOUNCES OFF TO COME BACK WITH A THRUST KICK OF HER OWN THAT NOT ONLY SENDS HIKARI TO THE ROPES BUT TUMBLING THROUGH THE MIDDLE ROPE AS WELL, thankfully, Hikari is able to catch herself on the apron!
Gavin Kirkland: The boobs of Consuela Rose Ava jiggle as she runs off the ropes and into Hikari with a shoulder barg-
Deadprez: HIKARI AVOIDS IT BY MOVING OUT OF THE WAY, AND CONSUELA GETS CAUGHT WITH A BIG KNEE TO THE SIDE OF HER HEAD!
Eve: Consuela is hanging on that middle rope stunned after that, Hikari Kanno seems to have devious intentions in the mind as she climbs to the middle turnbuckle from the apron. HIKARI WITH A DIVING ELBOW TO THE BACK OF A ROPE HUNG CONSUELA ROSE AVA’S NECK AS BOTH COMPETITORS GO TUMBLING TO THE FLOOR!
Deadprez: Hikari is quick to get back to her feet, Consuela on the other hand, not so much. She is visibly feeling the effects of that elbow drop, having practically gotten the entire weight of Hikari dropped on her head and neck. Hikari realizes she’s in control, AND CHUCKS CONSUELA INTO THE BARRICADE!
Eve: Hikari isn’t done and brings Consuela over to our announce desk, AND CONSUELA GETS BOUNCED FACE FIRST OFF THE TABLE COVER BEFORE GETTING PLACED BACK INTO THE RING!
Gavin Kirkland: It’s times like this I wish I was a table cover.
Eve: :wtf:
Deadprez: In the ring, a dazed Consuela slowly gets up to her feet, but it doesn’t make much difference when she’s mowed down by Hikari with a running European uppercut! A pin is made here!
ONNNNEEEEEEEE!!
TWWWWOOOOOOOO!!
Deadprez: A KICKOUT BY CONSUELA, staying in this thing even when the going gets rough. Hikari grabs Consuela and locks in a rear chinlock much to the dismay of the fans watching at home, certainly not what they’re looking to see out of Hikari who’s just slowing things down here.
Eve: They may not like it, but it’s smart. Hikari is wearing down Consuela the longer and longer she keeps this hold in, but Consuela starts working her way back up, Hikari dealt with this earlier regarding Consuela and adapts her game plan. A cravate locked in now, and knees to the head that go along with it. Consuela is doing her best to block it, but those knees are landing flush, and Consuela looks to be almost out on her feet here as Hikari releases the cravate.
Deadprez: And now Hikari hooks Consuela up for the saito Suplex of hers, BUT CONSUELA SHOWS SIGNS OF LIFE WITH ELBOW REIGNED DOWN ONTO THE BACK OF KANNO’S HEAD! Consuela breaks from the back Suplex position and traps Hikari into a front facelock, which quickly gets pushed away by Kanno! HIKARI CHARGES AT CONSUELA, CONSUELA SUCKERS HER IN FOR A SPANISH FLY!
Eve: KANNO DRIVES THE BACK OF HER ELBOWS INTO THE SIDE OF AVA’S HEAD, FORCING TO HER TO RELEASE SAID SPANISH FLY! HIKARI THROWS THE GROGGY CONSUELA FACE FIRST INTO THE MIDDLE TURNBUCKLE AND SHE STUMBLES BACK INTO THE SAITO SUPLEX THAT DROPS HER RIGHT ON THE BACK OF HER NECK! A COVER IS MADE BY KANNO!
ONNNNNNEEEEEEEE!!
TWWWWWOOOOOOOOO!!
TH-
Deadprez: CONSUELA ESCAPES THE PIN BY CATCHING KANNO INTO A CRUCIFIX PIN!
ONNNNEEEEEEE!!
TWWWWOOOOOOOO!!
Deadprez: KANNO KICKS OUT! Consuela is just a bit quicker to get back to her feet than Hikari is, AND USES THAT TO HER ADVANTAGE WITH A FLIPPING DOUBLE KNEE BACKBREAKER!! THE KNEES OF CONSUELA STABBING THEMSELVES INTO THE BACK OF HIKARI! But Consuela remains a bit too fatigued to go for the cover after the punishment she’s taken tonight.
Eve: Consuela gets back to her feet in the corner while Hikari does the same in the opposite one. CONSUELA CHARGES IN AT HIKARI IN THE CORNER WITH A FLYING CLOTHESLINE! CONSUELA GETS HER IN THE SETUP FOR THE SPANISH FLY AGAIN, BUT HIKARI SHIFTS THE MOMENTUM WITH A FLATLINER INTO THE MIDDLE TURNBUCKLE!
Deadprez: HIKARI GETS UP, AND HANGS CONSUELA OVER THE TOP FOR THE ROPE ASSISTED DRAGON SCREW NECK WHIP, BUT CONSUELA WIGGLES HER WAY OUT ONTO THE APRON, AND CONSUELA ATTEMPTS TO SUPLEX HIKARI TO THE OUTSIDE- HIKARI HANGS ON TO THE TOP ROPE AND INSTEAD DROPS TO THE APRON ALONGSIDE CONSUELA!
Eve: BOTH COMPETITORS TRADE BLOWS ON THE APRON, HIKARI ENDS UP GETTING THE UPPERHAND BY SHOVING CONSUELA BACK FIRST INTO THE RINGPOST! A CLOTHESLINE FROM HIKARI TO CONSUELA SENDS AVA RIGHT BACK INTO THE RING!
Deadprez: BUT LOOK! LIKE A CAT, CONSUELA LANDED ON ALL FOURS IN THE RING TO AVOID THE IMPACT! SCORPION KICK FROM CONSUELA KNOCKS HIKARI DOWN TO RINGSIDE AND CONSUELA RUNS OFF THE ROPES TO GO LEAPING IN THE AIR FOR TOPE CONSUELA HILO! THE CROWD ERUPTS AS CONSUELA TOSSES HIKARI BACK INTO THE RING!
Eve: THIS IS LOOKING TO BE THE BEGINNING OF THE END FOR HIKARI WHO GETS SIZED UP FOR LA RODILLA DE LA MUERTE FROM THE CORNER!
Deadprez: MIKU! MIKU GETS UP ON THE APRON AND DISTRACTS THE REFEREE, IN TURN, DISTRACTING CONSUELA AS WELL, WHO’S YELLING AT MIKU TO GET OFF THE APRON!
Eve: YELL NO MORE, JON KELTON MAKES THE SAVE AND PULLS MIKU OFF HIMSELF AS THE TWO TRADE HANDS ON THE OUTSIDE! MEANWHILE, HIKARI KANNO TAKES ADVANTAGE OFF THE SMALL OPENING SHE HAS WITH CONSUELA’S ATTENTION AVERTED! RUNNING BIG BOOT FROM HIKARI TO CONSUELA, WHO’S BROUGHT TO THE MIDDLE OF THE RING FOR-
Gavin Kirkland: ROPPONGI DREAMS!! THE HAMMERLOCK BACK SUPLEX GETS TURNED INTO A MICHINOKU DRIVER AND THIS ONE IS OVER!
ONNNNNEEEEEEEEE!!
TWWWWOOOOOOOOO!!
THHHHRRRRREEEEEEEEEE!!
(DING! DING! DING!)
Gina Romano: HERES YOUR WINNER…HIKARI KANNO!!
(‘Dream In Drive’ The Oral Cigarettes plays again much to the dismay of everyone watching at home, most hoping to see Consuela win tonight. Hikari doesn’t really get to celebrate her victory much as Kelton and Miku’s brawl reaches inside the ring.)
Eve: THE MATCH IS OVER, BUT CHAOS CONTINUES HERE ON SHOWDOWN! KELTON BACKS MIKU UP INTO THE CORNER TO LAND PUNCH AFTER PUNCH, BUT HIKARI IS THERE TO BACK HER PARTNER UP AFTER BLINDSIDING JON KELTON! BOTH COMPETITORS SPRINGING ON HIM LIKE A PACK OF WILD DOGS!
Gavin Kirkland: I’d happily give those dogs some meat. :mjlit:
Deadprez: Man, what?
Eve: Nevermind what he’s saying, LOOK AT IDOL-GUN! KELTON IS ISOLATED BY THE TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS FOR THEIR DEVASTATING FINISHING MANEUVER IN THE ONLYENDS! KELTON JUST GOT COMPLETELY TAKEN OUT BY IDOL-GUN AND THEY ARE PRETTY PROUD OF THEMSELVES HERE!
(IDOL-GUN looks down at the downed Jon Kelton and proceed to laugh at the misfortune they’ve cost him before-)
Deadprez: CONSUELA ROSE AVA! SHE MAY HAVE BEEN DOWN BUT CERTAINLY NOT OUT AS HIKARI GETS THROWN SHOULDER FIRST INTO THE RINGPOST BEFORE SHE FALLS OUT OF THE RING! CONSUELA TURNS HER ATTENTION TO MIKU WHO POUNCES RIGHT ON HERE!
Eve: MIKU TRIES TO WHIP CONSUELA OFF THE ROPES, WHO COUNTERS AND IS THE ONE DOING THE WHIPPING THIS TIME! CONSUELA BOUNCES OFF THE OPPOSITE ROPE AS MIKU DUCKS UNDER A CLOTHESLINE BUT CANNOT AVOID LA RODILLA DE LA MUERTE AS CONSUELA COMES REBOUNDING A SECOND TIME!
(Miku rolls out of the ring as Hikari and her may their way out of the arena while Consuela entices them to come back in before turning her attention to the downed Jon Kelton and helping him back up to his feet as the camera fades to black.)
(A commercial for The Woogieman’s new and improved cookbook, are you ready to eat some candy ass?)
(Showdown comes back from commercial break as the camera transitions over to the World 1 Theatre. After a bit, ‘Just Being Me’ by NF blasts through the speakers to the cheers of the crowd as Xavier Williams makes his way out to the stage from the backstage area. He has a leather jacket over a vintage Xavier Williams EAW branded T-Shirt as it’s clear he’s not here for in-ring competition tonight. He makes his way down the ramp and heads towards the ring as he keeps a calmed look on his face as he does so. He makes his way up the steel steps and enters into the ring as he twirls a mic that he brought with him before ‘Just Being Me’ fades out and Xavier begins to speak)
Xavier Williams: It’s funny how things can change so swiftly in this business. At one point in my fabled career which seems like lightyears ago, the Xavier Williams you once saw in that ring, wasn’t actually Xavier Williams. I’ve been keen on saying this and reminding people of it every chance I get, but that passion was just not there. Before all of this, before Showdown, before everything, I was trying to hide what truly mattered to me. There were remnants of an incomplete career swirling deep in my stomach that I tried so hard to hide, saying that I could finally rest on my laurels. But the reality of it being what I used to have, that motivation, that drive to succeed, was gone out of my system. But getting back into it, getting back into the groove of everything around me in this current moment, it allowed me to find that passion again. It allowed me to do things which I never thought would fill me up like it used to, but lo and behold. I found what I thought was gone, and I’m proud of that.
Xavier Williams: But despite all of that, Ryan Wilson tried to take that away from me.
(Xavier takes a pause before letting out a deep breath. He from there, continues to speak)
Xavier Williams: I’ve watched Ryan throw around his power and be a dictator instead of being a proper General Manager for a brand that he should be caring about rather than just himself. I’ve watched it and I’ve seen it all, the special privileges that he grants himself to give him everything he truly aspired for that he couldn’t get on his own. And let me just say right now that I wasn’t going to stand around and let that happen, I vow to put a stop to it. And I mean that, is there a possibility that I lose to Ryan at Under Siege? Sure, if I do? Then my career didn’t deserve to go on anyways if I couldn’t live up to the expectations I placed onto myself. And I do plan to do that, I vow to put an end to this nightmare at Under Siege… beginning tonight.
(That last phrase Xavier states leaves a bit of confusion amongst the World 1 Theatre, Xavier lets it sink in before continuing on)
Xavier Williams: I’ve vowed a lot today but if there’s one thing I vow more than the rest? It’s the fact that I vow, absolutely, that Ryan is stepping into the ring with the BEST IN THE WORLD.
(Xavier drops his mic down to the ground before leaving the ring as ‘Just Being Me’ plays up again and he makes his way over to the backstage area in silence. The last shot is him disappearing through the curtain as from there, Showdown once again fades to commercial break)
(A commercial for the Bald is Badass club starring Ronan Malosi as he protests about his hatred for bald people)
Gina Romano: The following contest is scheduled for!
( Virtual Crowd: ONE FALL!!! )
( ‘If You Smell’ by Adam Massacre plays next over the sound system as the former Big Boogie Bhampion makes his way to the ring! )
Gina Romano: Introducing first! From Jacksonville, Florida! Weighing at 260 pounds! THE WOOGIIIIIEMAAAAAAAAAAAN!!!!
Gavin Kirkland: The Woog looks good tonight, he seems to have recovered from the brutal post-match beating Lucas Johnson gave him.
Deadprez: He is not going to have an easy one tonight against Kensington, this will be a good match for him.
( ‘Hell On Heels’ by Pistol Annies play over the sound system of World1 Theatre as the southern belle makes her way to the ring. )
Gina Romano: And his opponent, making her Showdown debut for Season 14! From Savannah, Georgia, weighing in at 126 pounds. She is THE STEEL MAGNOLIA! SHE IS KENSINGTEN CALHOUN ASTOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Gavin Kirkland: Quite a hard time for the Steel Magnolia these days!
Deadprez: Will she be able to keep her focus in order to get the job done and win on her debut tonight? We will see!
( Ding! Ding! Ding! )
Eve: And this match is officially underway! Woogieman and Kensingten circle the ring for a moment before meeting in the middle, locking up in a collar and elbow tie-up! Woog with the weight and clear height advantage manages to power Kensingten into a corner! Woog with intent and purpose here tonight with control of this contest early but the referee steps in to force a break. The official is counting up to four before Woog backs away, not looking to get himself disqualified so early in this contest. Both opponents return to the middle of the ring as the official orders them to engage, Kensingten with a bit more pace behind each step, looking to clinch again with Woog who goes for it but Kensingten drops to a knee and sweeps behind the taller man immediately propelling herself back to her feet and taking Woogieman down to a knee with a headlock!
Gavin Kirkland: Nothing fancy in it!
Eve: Woogieman trying to force his way back to his feet but Kensingten wastes absolutely no time in transitioning out of the headlock; wrapping her arms around the waist of Woog and connects with a german suplex! Dropping him on the back of his head, Kensingten rolls him over and straight into the cover! What strength from the 5’9 woman considering Woogie is 6’5!!
Ref: ONE! TWO!!
Deadprez: Woogie quickly shoots the arm off the canvas to break the pin!
Eve: But almost immediately Kensingten clutches the risen arm of Woog and rolls him over- LOOKING TO LOCK HIM IN THE KIMURA! But the People’s Champ quickly realizes the danger he’s in and rolls right out of the ring! Woog certainly knows how dangerous that Kimura is. No doubt he knows to avoid having his arms being torn right off. Woog takes a moment to regroup and refocus but Kensingten backs away from the ropes, inviting her opponent to climb back into the ring. Woog cautiously steps back onto the ring apron, his eyes refusing to leave Kensingten. Woogie slowly steps through the ropes and Kensingten remains in the middle of the ring AND KENSINGTEN STEPS IN WITH A KICK RIGHT TO THE LOWER RIGHT LEG! Woog drops back to the canvas to a chorus of boos from the virtual crowd but she just does not give a damn! Woogie tries to race back to his feet but Kensingten picks up the pace, bouncing off the ropes, and immediately connects with a forearm, taking Woog right back down to the mat! Kensingten starts laying the right fist down over the head and connecting with the ribs as her opponent tries to cover himself from the blows. Kensingten drags Woog back to his feet, and connects with a snap suplex! Kensingten rolls straight into the cover!
Ref: ONE! TWO! THR-
Gavin Kirkland: Woog breaks the pin by merely lifting his shoulder off the canvas!
Eve: The Steel Magnolia isn’t looking at letting this match slip through her grasp, she once more hoists Woog up to his feet and up onto her shoulders! I need to remind you folks she is smaller than him by eight inches and he has over a hundred pounds over her! Looking to put Woogie down with the Electric Chair Driver! But with repeated shots to the back of the head, Woog is trying to break free from the dangerous position! And he does! He drops off the shoulders of Kensingten Calhoun-Astor and tries to roll her up for a surprise pin! But Kensingten hasn’t been tested in this match as she immediately pushes Woog out of the pin. Both competitors stagger back to their feet, Kensingten back to hers first; she swings wildly with the lariat but Woog ducks beneath it! He bounces off the ropes and comes flying back with the flying forearm smash! He’s feeling the momentum his way as he races back to his feet. Kensingten stumbles back to hers! Again! Woog takes her down with the flying forearm smash! The wind is being taken out of Kensingten’s sails as Woog pulls her back to her feet and locks her in for the pump-handle suplex! Kensingten tries to fight out of the maneuver but Woogieman counters her efforts with a still knee connecting straight on the nose! And it’s enough! Woogie drives Kensingten back down to the canvas with the pump handle suplex and hooks both legs for the pin!
Ref: ONE! TWO! THRE–
Deadprez: Kick out before the count of three!!
Gavin Kirkland: Woogie thought he had her with both legs hooked!
Eve: Woogie clutches both legs of Kensingten, crosses them over and locks in the Texas Cloverleaf! You can see the anguish already setting in on Kensingten’s face as Woogie has the submission hold locked. Kensington is screaming in pain but look! She is trapped in good but look at her strength she is pushing herself up! She Manages To Get The Hold To Break! WOAH!! What Power By The Steel Magnolia as Woogie stumbles forward and turns to look at his opponent with disbelief in his eyes!
Gavin Kirkland: I don’t believe it either!!
Eve: Kensingten is holding her back in pain and Woogie is looking to end it before she can do another impressive display of strength against him! He signals for the end! He wants to go for The Bottom as he is poised behind her waiting for the perfect time to strike! I this how the match will end? He moves in his arms under her shoulders he’s going for-NO! Kensingten throws a few elbows to the side of Woogie’s face who lets go of the hold!! Kensingten goes to her knees and Woog tries to lift her back up to try his finisher again! But Kensingten remains dropped down on one knee! Visible frustration washing over the face of Woogie who backs away from the fallen Kensingten. She manages to get back to her feet under her own power! Woogie comes charging back, with as much speed as he possibly could! He swings wildly for a clothesline! But Kensingten ducks beneath the move. Woogie immediately comes to a halt and swings back around BUT IS GREETED BY THE SOUTHERN SWAG SHOT!!! IT MIGHT HAVE JUST KNOCKED THE LIGHTS OUT OF WOOGIE WHO STUMBLES DOWN TO A SINGLE KNEE!! KENSINGTEN QUICKLY MOVES BEHIND HIM AND WRAPS HER ARMS INTO THE KATAHAJIME!! A LITTLE TOUCH OF SOUTHERN HOSPITALITY APPLIES ON WOOGIE MAN WHO TRIES TO FIGHT THE HOLD BUT HE TAPS! WOOGIE TAPPED!!
Official: RING THE BELL!!!
( DING! DING!! DING!!! )
( ‘Hell On Heels’ by Pistol Annies play over the sound system of World 1 Theatre as the Southern Belle gets an arm raised in victory by the official. )
Gina Romano: The Winner of This Bout! The Steel Magnolia! KENSINGTEN CALHOUN-ASTOR!!!!
Gavin Kirkland: What a Convincing Win by the Steel Magnolia!! Did you see how she managed to power through Woogieman?
Deadprez: Impressive indeed! She might be small but she has power within her! She is incredible!
(A commercial for EAW Shop featuring Strawberry Steve where he just wears a shirt of himself in pure silence)
(‘Eye of the Tiger’ by New Found Glory hits, and the World 1 Theatre’s virtual crowd begins cheering as Harlow Reichert begins walking down the ramp. She has a microphone in her hand similarly to last week’s Showdown, and very soon Harlow manages to enter the ring. As the crowd slowly quiets down she begins to speak.)
Harlow Reichert: Last week on Showdown I came out here because I wanted a match. I wanted an opponent for Under Siege, and in the end I got a little more than that. Showdown didn’t end for me how I wanted it to, and it’s because of New Eden.
(The virtual crowd begins booing just hearing New Eden’s name.)
Harlow Reichert: See, Raven Roberts walked out here and she said herself that she was in the same situation as myself. She wanted an opponent at Under Siege just like I did. Raven and I have a lot of respect for each other both as individuals and as competitors, but before we could even finish our conversation New Eden came out and attacked Raven. All three of them. Drake King, Myles, Minerva, they all worked together and tried to take Raven out but I wasn’t having it. I did what I could to help even if it meant I had to suffer the same fate Raven did, but after Voltage I think New Eden learned that I’m nobody’s doormat. I’m not going to let anyone step all over me or push me around, and that’s exactly what New Eden tried to do. They thought they’d be able to just brush me off but that wasn’t going to happen. I don’t regret getting involved with what’s been going on between Raven and New Eden. On Voltage I’m going to team up with her to face Myles and Drake, and that’s perfectly fine with me. They’re going to learn to never mess with me or Raven again.
(As Harlow finishes speaking, ‘In My Bones’ by The Score hits. Raven Roberts begins walking down the ramp, and just like Harlow, Raven has a microphone in her hand. Raven makes her way all the way down the ramp before entering the ring and standing in front of Harlow.)
Raven Roberts: Believe me, things are far from over between me and Minerva. Minerva’s going to get what she deserves, and what New Eden did to us on Showdown last week isn’t going to stop me. They got the better of us on Showdown but there’s a reason that didn’t last too long. I’m not going to stop until Minerva pays for EVERYTHING she’s done, even if it means I have to keep coming back. Before we even get to Shock Value though, we’re going to make sure Drake and Myles get what’s coming to them. New Eden’s going to have to learn about you too Harlow, because I know you. I know you’re not going to let them get away with what they did and what happened just the night after Showdown proved that. You’re right. You’re not a pushover, and if Drake and Myles really don’t know what they’re dealing with they’re going to have a very hard time facing us on Voltage. Drake and Myles didn’t seem too happy to see you get involved, and it’s for good reason. They shouldn’t be happy to see you get involved Harlow, because now on Voltage they’re going to be embarrassed by us. They’re going to lose to us all while Minerva watches, and they’ll realize that you didn’t make a mistake getting involved. They’re the ones that made a mistake.
(Harlow just nods her head, clearly on the same page as Raven.)
Harlow Reichert: That’s right, and we’re going to make sure they pay for that mistake. If they thought they could just push us over with their attack on Showdown they clearly thought wrong, and this won’t be their week. They’re welcome to try and attack us again right now, but I bet they won’t because that’s the type of people they are. They’re not going to try and attack us until we least expect it. They’re not going to give us a fair fight which is why on Voltage when we actually do get that fight, they’re getting taken out. They’re being defeated by the two of us and they’re going to learn not to try to come at us again because we’re not the type that allows that sort of thing. We don’t let people like Drake and Myles do whatever they want at our expense. Then you know what’s going to happen at Shock Value after we beat them? You’re going to give Minerva what she deserves. There really is no doubt about that. After everything Minerva put you through this past year and how long you’ve been waiting to do this I know you have what it takes to finally get your revenge, just like we’ll take out Drake King and Myles. Shock Value is still in one week though, and I believe our conversation last week was interrupted.
(Harlow has a smirk on her face as the virtual crowd begins cheering.)
Harlow Reichert: So, if you’re still free the week after Shock Value, I’d love to have that match.
(The virtual crowd pretty much explodes hearing Harlow accept Raven’s challenge, knowing that this would be two of the best women in the company squaring off. A smile grows on Raven’s face after hearing Harlow accept the challenge.)
Raven Roberts: I like the sound of that. I’ll see you at Under Siege.
(Raven extends her hand, and Harlow shakes her hand as the virtual crowd continues cheering as it appears the match between the two Elitists is finally official.)
Harlow Reichert: And we’ll see New Eden on Voltage.
(Raven grins and nods her head, before finally exiting the ring. ‘Eye of the Tiger hits once again as Raven begins walking up the ramp, and as Harlow Reichert remains inside of the ring, Showdown begins to fade away from ringside.)
(A commercial for Baptism starring Drake King)
( “Monster” by Kanye West plays to an ear-deafening mixed reaction from the crowd in attendance. King Kass jerks the curtain and gradually makes her way down to the ramp. )
Gina Romano: Ladies and gentlemen… PLEASE WELCOME!! THE 2021 KING OF ELITE WINNER.. KIIIINGG KASS!!
Eve: King Kass plans on following up her historic King Of Elite victory by claiming her spot at the EAW Answers World Championship throne at Under Siege, which is two weeks from now. Tonight, after making light work of Dante Ford, she gets the best seat in the house in seeing Jack Ripley try to do the same to Ford tonight.
( King Kass settles down at ringside as “Ring Ring” by Jax Jones, Mabel, and Rich The Kid is accompanied with an uproar of boos as Dante Ford marks his second EAW appearance. Ford scans the ambience before moving down the ramp with purpose and ambition. As he moseys around the squared circle, he mocks King Kass before sliding into the ring and posing on the top turnbuckle.)
Gina Romano: INTRODUCING FIRST! From London, England, weighing in at 247 pounds… THE SCOPE…. DANTE FOOORDDDD!!!
Eve: Dante Ford has been put up against two of the finest competition that Showdown has to offer and you have to admit, that’s the best you can get in your first two matches ever in this kind of promotion. Ford got a great opportunity in his debut, only to get maimed by King Kass herself. Tonight? Tonight, he gets an opportunity to rectify that loss against a challenge, if not harder, than the King through Jack Ripley. He’s been having the entire roster in his crosshairs and if he beats Jack Ripley tonight? Maybe, the EAW Answers World Championship might be in his legitimate scope!
Gavin Kirkland: I swear. Was Dante Ford not in that one gay porno? I end up sifting through a copious amount of them on the daily. But, I swear… He looks so familiar.
( As Dante Ford smirks in the corner of the ring, “BxMxC” by BABYMETAL echoes throughout the World 1 Theatre to a huge ovation. To the chagrin of King Kass and Dante Ford, Jack Ripley arrives onto the entranceway. He holds the EAW Answers World Championship with both hands before throwing it over his shoulder. )
Gina Romano: AND HIS OPPONENT! From Las Vegas, Nevada, weighing in at 202 pounds.. HE IS THE REIGNING EAW ANSWERS WORLD CHAMPION.. STRAIGHT SHOOTER.. JAACK RIPPLEY…
Deadprez: The Scope versus The Straight Shooter. The Nevada native versus the Brit as this will be an interesting clash tonight. Dante Ford may have been given another massive opportunity tonight, but this is Jack Ripley we’re talking about. Jack Ripley has proven himself time-after-time again that he is the best that this entire company has to offer and if Dante Ford thinks that his god superiority complex will get him that victory, then he is greatly mistakenly wrong. Jack Ripley is close to defending his championship against King Kass and tonight, he is going to show everyone that this is his brand? Who’s house is this? It’s Ripley’s house!
( DING! DING! DING! )
Eve: This match is underway as both men circle around the ring. King Kasst is spectating on this match looking to see what Ripley can do to the opponent she made light work of last week. Ripley and Ford engage in a collar-and-elbow tie-up, with Ripley quickly maneuvering around with a wrist lock and twisting. He rolls through into the canvas and kips-up to his feet. AND HE KICKS HIM IN THE MIDSECTION WITH A NASTY STOMP!! Ford is momentarily stunned before he recovers and TUCKS ON HIS ARM!! AND HE IRISH WHIPS RIPLEY INTO THE ROPES!! RIPLEY COMES OFF THE ROPES AND KICKS HIM RIGHT IN THE MUSHER!! He then comes off the ropes! He jumps over Ford and comes off the ropes again! HE LEAPFROGS OVER…
Deadprez: BUT FORD CATCHES HIM!! FORD HAS HIM HOOKED UP IN THE SCOPE SUPLEX.. HOOK! LINE!! AND SI- NO!!! RIPLEY SHOOTS DOWN SHOULDERS AND WIGGLES OUT OF HIS CLUTCHES.. Ripley shoves him away, but Ford is quick to ricochet back into his direction. Ford goes for a clothesline! Ripley ducks and rebounds off the ropes! HE LEAPS UP AND GETS THE FRONT HEADSCISSORS!! AND HE SENDS FORD INTO THE OTHER SIDE OF THE RING WITH A SENSATIONAL HURRICANRANA!! RIPLEY THEN NOW FOLLOWS IT UP!! WITH A PICTURE-PERFECT DROPKICK ON THE DOT!! THE EAW ANSWERS WORLD CHAMPION HOVERS OVER FOR THE COVER!! BOTH SHOULDERS ARE DOWN!! THIS COULD BE IT!!
ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO-
Gavin Kirkland: NO!! Not enough! Ripley quickly administers a headlock onto the brash newcomer as he slows down this match. This has been fast-paced so far between both individuals, and it seems Ford appears to be wanting to take it back to that velocity. He fights out of the headlock with shoulder thrust after shoulder thrust! He is blowing the wind out of his chest right now as Dante gets out of his nook and NAILS HIM WITH A EUROPEAN UPPERCUT!! THE CHAMPION IS BACKPEDALLING AS DANTE NOW SPRINTS AND REBOUNDS OFF THE ROPES!! RIPLEY REALIZES AND ADAPTS!! AND HE TOSSES DANTE FORD INTO THE SKIES AND ONTO THE CANVAS WITH A DEVASTATING OVERHEAD BELLY-TO-BELLY SUPLEX! Dante reels into the center of the ring as the champion now steps through and SPRINGBOARDS OFF THE TOP ROPE!
Deadprez: RIPLEY WITH A SPRINGBOARD… NO!! A SWING AND A MASS!! Ford sidestepped it and Ripley rolled into the ring. FORD SPINS AROUND!! AND HE TWISTS FOR THE FOREARM!! FUCK OFF DOESN’T CONNECT AS RIPLEY GOES AROUND THE WAIST!! AND CONNECTS WITH THE BACKSTABBER!! Dante Ford gets drilled with the double-knee backstabber to the upper spine as Ripley now steps through the ropes! This is the opportune moment for Ripley to go high-risk! RIPLEY REBOUNDS OFF THE TOP ROPE… HE USES IT TO TRAMPOLINE ONTO AND OFF THE TOP TURNBUCKLE!! AND HE SPLASHES DOWN ONTO D-MONEY WITH A MARVELLOUS MOONSAULT!! TOP-ROPE MOONSAULT INTO THE HEART OF DANTE FORD AS HE HOOKS BOTH LEGS FOR THE COVER!!
ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO-
Eve: KICK-OUT!!! Ripley with amazing feats of athleticism in this match as King Kass looks at this match remaining unimpressed. Ripley is standing in the corner with his eyes fixated on the rookie. Dante Ford is trying to recollect his current condition right now as RIPLEY STARES AT KING KASS!! RIPLEY IS GIVING HER A VIEW OF WHAT IS TO COME AT UNDER SIEGE! RIPLEY POSES!! THE THEATRICS OF RIPLEY!! AND RIPLEY MOTIONS FOR THE SUPERKICK!! YOU’LL FLOAT TOOOOO CONNECTS!! NO!!! WAIT!! DANTE COUNTERS AND GRABBED HIM HALF-WAY THROUGH!! AND SENDS THE CHAMPION CRASHING INTO THE CORNER TURNBUCKLES WITH THE SCOPE SUPLEX!! D-MONEY WITH THE EXPLODER SUPLEX AS RIPLEY IS IN DEEP TROUBLE!! KASSIDY WITH A SMIRK AT RINGSIDE AS RIPLEY TOOK HIS EYES OFF DANTE FORD AND IT DID NOT DO HIM WELL IN THE LONG HAUL!!
Deadprez: This is a sliver of chance for Dante Ford to get his head back into the game against the champion! Ford knows how big of an opportunity this is and recognizes that he might never get another opportunity to step into the ring with someone like Jack Ripley again! FORD IS SEETHING IN THE CORNER!! DANTE NOW REBOUNDS OFF THE TURNBUCKLES AND SPINS FORWARD FOR THE DISCUS ELBOW!! JACK RIPLEY WINDS UP TO HIS FEET AND TURNS AROUND TO THE SIGHT OF DANTE IN ROTATION!! FUCK OFF!! FUCK OFF!! NO!! RIPLEY GRABS THE ARM AND GOES AROUND THE WAIST!! AND HE DRILLS HIM DOWN WITH A RELEASE HALF-AND-HALF SUPLEX!! RELEASE HALF-AND-HALF SUPLEX!! HALF-AND-HALF COURTESY OF THE ANSWERS WORLD CHAMPION!! RIPLEY IS SEEMING TO BE AGGRAVATED NOW AS HE PULLS HIS OPPONENT UP TO HIS FEET!
Gavin Kirkland: THE WORLD CHAMPION HOOKS BOTH ARMS FROM BEHIND!! AND LIFTS HIM UP ONTO HIS SHOULDERS!! RIPLEY IS GOING FOR THE VERTEBREAKER!! THE RIPPLE EFFE- FORD SLIDES OFF HIS SHOULDERS AND ESCAPES FROM HIS WRATH!! RIPLEY IS CONFUSED AS HE WALKS RIGHT INTO THE FOREARM!! ROLLING FOREARM!! FUCK OFF!! FUCK OFF!!! RIPLEY JUST GOT HIS LIGHTS OUT AS FORD PULLS HIM IS HEAD IN BETWEEN HIS THIGHS!! WHAT A LUCKY MAN RIPLEY IS AS FORD HOISTS HIM UP FOR THE BACK-TO-BELLY PILEDRIVER!! WAIT NO!! RIPLEY USES HIS MOMENTUM TO FLIP OUT OF HIS ARMS AND CONNECTS WITH A STEP-UP ENZIGURI!! Ford is subconsciously still on his feet as Ripley gets up to his feet to finish the job! RIPLEY CHARGES IN!! FORD SIDE STEPS AND RIPLEY GOES FLYING THROUGH THE ROPES!! Ripley is up on the apron as Ford now charges into him. RIPLEY WITH A ROPE-ASSISTED ENZIGURI TO THE SIDE OF THE FACE!! Ford is more gingerly than ever as Ripley is on a mission to wreak havoc! RIPLEY SLINGSHOTS THROUGH THE ROPES! FOR THE SLINGSHOT SPEAR!!
Deadprez: HANGOVER AFTER THE SESH!! WHAT A COUNTER!! DANTE FORD MANAGED TO SNATCH RIPLEY IN MID-AIR AND CONNECT WITH THE PILEDRIVER AS THEY BOTH WENT CRASHING DOWN!! DANTE FORD MAY BE REALLY ABOUT TO WIN THIS ONE!!! DANTE FORD SLOWLY ROLLS HIM OVER FOR THE COVER!! IMAGINE IF FORD REALLY WINS THIS ONE!! SHOULDERS ARE DOWN!! COUNT IT, REF!!
ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!
TH-
Deadprez: NO!! IT IS NOT ENOUGH!!! Dante Ford can’t believe it! Ford is apoplectic but he is not letting it go to his head!! Ripley is stunned from that piledriver and Ford needs to work from the scraps! Ford is trying to fight the doubt in his head as he now goes over to pull Ripley up to his feet! If Ford connects with another one of his patented piledrivers, then it perhaps, will be game over for the EAW Answers World Champion. Dante Ford brings Ripley up, but Ripley continues to fall down to the ground. Ford isn’t even putting enough energy as Ripley is basically dead weight! This is odd! Ripley has taken much worst torture in matches before and has showcased more energy. Dante with a confused look on his face as he leans against the ropes and takes a breather before he turns around and grabs Rip- YOU’LL FLOAT TOO!!! YOU’LL FLOAT TOO!! SUPERKICK TO THE FACE AS RIPLEY ISN’T DONE YET!! SUPERKICK TO THE BACK OF THE HEAD!! FORD IS DOWNED ONTO BOTH KNEES AS RIPLEY REBOUNDS OFF THE ROPES!! AND PUTS ONE FINAL NAIL IN THE COFFIN WITH A SUPERKICK TO THE BACK OF THE HEAD!!! THREE CONSECUTIVE YOU’LL FLOAT TOOS FROM THE BLUE AS DANTE FORD IS DOWN-AND-OUT!! RIPLEY WAS PLAYING POSSUM AND FORD PAID FOR IT!!! RIPLEY HOOKS BOTH LEGS WITH AUTHORITY!!
ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!
Eve: HUH!! Ripley lets go at the last second! We all remember that Kassidy Heart let go of the pin at the last second in her match against Dante, and it seems like Ripley is following the same formula! Heart seems more vigilante than ever as Ripley pulls Dante up to his feet! HE GRABS HIM BY THE WRIST AND CONNECTS WITH A RIPCORD SUPERKICK!!! Dante is basically game as of this moment and should be pinned, but Ripley is making a statement!! RIPLEY HOOKS BOTH ARMS AND TWISTS AROUND!! He hoists Dante Ford up onto his shoulders. He stares right into the eyes of the King as has him up in the vertebreaker position! AND HE DROPS HIM DOWN WITH THE RIPPLE EFFECT!! THE RIPPLE EFFECT AS RIPLEY CONTINUES TO HAVE HIS EYES GLUED ONTO THE KING OF ELITE AND GOES FOR THE PIN!! SHOULDERS ARE DOWN!! COUNT TO ONE FUCKIN’ HUNDRED CUZ IT IS ACADEMIC FROM HERE!
ONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNEE!!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!
THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
( DING! DING! DING! )
( “BxMxC” by BABYMETAL blasts through the speakers to a huge pop as Ripley finally lays his eyes off King Kass. He is handed the EAW Answers World Championship and smirks at it before raising it up in the skies and staring into the eyes of King Kass once again. )
Gina Romano: HERE IS YOUR WINNER… THE EAW ANSWERS WORLD CHAMPION… JAAACKKK RIPPPLEYY!!
Eve: Both the Under Siege champion and challenger gazing into each other eyes after an impressive performance from both competitors! Ripley dominated this match, but Dante Ford also demonstrated that he is a star to watch out for in the future here on Saturday nights. Ripley comes out of the World 1 Theatre once again with another victory, mocking Kassidy Heart with that finish as we are weeks away from what could either be an expansion of his world championship reign, or the end of the era of The Straight Shooter.
(Jack Ripley continues to hold the EAW Answers World Championship up in the center of the ring. Kassidy Heart shakes her head and reserves an unimpressed face before she snaps out of it and starts to laugh. She is entertained at the sight of Ripley being champion while she backs up the ramp. Ripley remains unfazed by her laughs as he continues to hold up the title with pride. The final view is Kassidy Heart doing the championship belt motion around her waist.)
(A commercial for Subway is shown starring Chris Elite, he really likes that foot long)
( Camera cuts to Ryan Wilsons office where he’s seen with a handful of stagehands carrying ice statues and countless other celebratory items )
Ryan Wilson: No you idiot! Why would you bring the Ice statue in here! It’s like 73 degrees here?! Go and put it back in the freezer! AND YOU—- HANG THE BANNER A LITTLE MORE TO THE LEFT!
( A stagehand can be seen positioning a trophy case to the left of Wilson’s office )
Ryan Wilson: You imbecile, have you no idea of decou—
( Ryan Wilsons rant is cut short by a knock at his door )
Ryan Wilson: Come in! And it better be good.
( Ryan Wilsons eyes light up as Dante Ford walks into his office, still sweaty and slightly annoyed. Ryan Wilson and Dante Ford shake hands before getting down to business )
Ryan Wilson: Ahh! Mr. Ford as I live and breathe, how are you?
Dante Ford: Sore, but I’m fine, I’ve been better– but I’m fine for now.
Ryan Wilson: I bet you are!! You know we’re all ecstatic to have you here on Showdown! I actually went through and took the liberty to sign you myself! Talent like yours is hard to come by Dante- and you showed the entire world that talent last week when you brought the fight to the first and only woman to ever wear the King of Elite crown. But still, people questioned if you were the real deal, so what did you go and do? You went and gave the Answers World Champion a run for his money and held your own against one of Showdown’s best!
Dante Ford: I’m happy to know my hard work isn’t going unnoticed. I appreciate the kind words, I do, but that’s not why I came in here.
Ryan Wilson: Oh it’s not? Well then Mr.Ford, what behooves you?
Dante Ford: A few weeks ago you announced a contendership match at Under Siege– I want in on that.
Ryan Wilson: Well considering your most recent performances– I’d say consider it a done deal my friend! I’ll announce more about the match and the stipulation next week, but as far as participants go, you can count yourself in.
Dante Ford: Thank you sir, I appreciate it, really, you won’t be disappointed!
( Ryan Wilson and Dante Ford shake hands once more before Dante exits Wilson’s office )
Ryan Wilson: I know I won’t be.
( Ryan Wilson looks around his office at all the stagehands waiting around )
Ryan Wilson: WHO TOLD YOU BUMS TO SLACK OFF? GET BACK TO WORK! I NEED THIS PLACE READY WITHIN THE HOUR!
( Camera shows Ryan Wilson grinning before fading to commercial )
(A commercial for wikiHow is shown featuring Ryan Wilson where he talks about how to be a successful General Manager for your brand)
(Showdown returns from break and cuts to an undisclosed location backstage. King Kass is seen sitting by herself on a discarded piece of equipment. She wears the same thing she had on earlier in the evening when she sat at ringside for Jack Ripley’s match against Dante; a pair of designer leather shorts with a Louis Vuttion belt, a fitted white tank top, and gold Louboutin leather Impera pumps with scallop detailing that lace up her calves. Her cropped, platinum locks frame her lovely face and of course, on top of King Kass’ head is her King of Elite crown. After a moment of reflective silence, King Kass pulls the crown down and holds it in the palms of both of her hands. She stares down on it, a smile tugging at her ruby red lips.)
King Kass: One of the hottest topics of conversation since the match with Ripley for the Answers World Championship was made official is why I used a contract instead of my crown. As I’ve said this entire season, me becoming world champion is a foregone conclusion. There was never going to be anything that kept me from my goal of getting that belt around my waist and headlining my first ever Pain for Pride. Kassidy Heart in a Pain for Pride main event is something that is long overdue, especially when you consider the people who have been given that opportunity the last couple of years; people who can’t fuck with me or beat me. It’s sad that it’s taken this long for me to get my just due, but my time has finally come. I ascended, and made a little history in the process, and now it’s time to focus solely on the prize I set my pretty eyes on last July. When Ryan gave me the contract to collect the championship, he did so knowing I was going to ask him for permission to enter King of Elite. He knows me so well, and knows that this entire season has been about me exercising my power and doing whatever the fuck I want with my career. From coming up with Armageddon Hell in a Cell to skipping the chamber to batter Bethany, everything that’s happened for me on Showdown this season has been on my own terms. I have done things my way, and clearly a King of Elite cash-in was going to be done my way.
(A full blown smirk has spread across the King’s face now and she’s looking into the camera.)
King Kass: There was never doubt for Ryan or for me that I wouldn’t walk away with the King of Elite crown, so before Ryan gave me the contract for a world championship match whenever my heart desired it, he cut a deal with me. He could give me the contract now if I gave him the crown after I won it. I agreed. We sealed it with a kiss and nice, long fuck, and the rest was history. After riding Cockzilla to celebrate my win on Valentine’s Day while wearing it, I passed over the crown like a good girl and Ryan signed the contract, making my match official before I even decided to announce it. Obviously, we all know I had the date of the match in mind for awhile, as I’ve already explained that, but now you know why I had the contract signed, sealed, and ready to be delivered. I never wanted to part with the crown, though, but I’m always going to do what Daddy says. To my surprise, he gifted me with this beautiful custom made crown that I can keep forever and wear for however long I decide I want to be called King Kass. It may just be for the rest of my life, because King Kass sounds fucking awesome and rolls off the tongue :wow:. Several pretenders have come along over the years, claiming to be the King and wearing their tin crowns long after cashing in their world title match. Why should I be the one to truly part with mine? I’m pretty much the only King of Elite winner in history who actually deserves the title and crown. Thankfully, Daddygawd saw the vision before I ever did, and had my back like he always does. Now, I look ahead.
(Kassidy pauses long enough to tuck her hair behind her diamond studded ears and place the crown back where it belongs.)
King Kass: The change in date and venue for Under Siege isn’t going to stop the inevitable from happening. Jack Ripley is still going to prove to be exactly what I’ve said all along and that’s a transitional champion who was simply the go between. I’ve said this entire season that I don’t want things to be as easy as I make them look, so I sat quietly at ringside tonight observing Jack picking up the scraps of Dante and further proving the point I hammered home last week that Dante doesn’t belong, I got to thinking. What can I do to make Jack Ripley versus Kassidy Heart a little more interesting? Last week, Jack took to the mic and got a little personal, for reasons I’m not really sure of or care about, but it damn sure gives me a wonderful excuse to throw my weight around and exercise my rights as the Chairman’s wife. I don’t mind tossing my weight around and letting people talk their shit about how I’m only where I am because of my husband. My husband knows that I was a household name before he got his hands on me and bettered me, and that I have earned every bit of rights and freedom I have as his wife. More importantly, the entire EAW Universe knows that I have earned every single thing I get my hands on in this company, because I’m that fucking good of a competitor. I want to win my second world championship in a match that is gunna allow me AND Jack to have some fun. I want my opponent to enjoy every single second of the beating I’m giving them just as much as I enjoy dishing out that kind of punishment. Vice versa, if I’m being honest, because I certainly don’t mind the suffering aspect of this sport. I’ve been trained to take an insane amount of punishment and ask for more. It’s not because I deserve it, it’s because I need it in order to truly feel alive :wow:. Up until the ending, I was having a ball locked inside of a burning cage back at Reasonable Doubt. Cage matches, as barbaric as they are, often provoke The Mauler and serve as a reminder that I have something dark caged up inside of me. I think it would be pretty fitting if I won the Answers World Championship inside of a steel cage, and I think it would be equally as fun to beat Jack Ripley inside of one. He’s a former War Games winner and this type of match isn’t going to be something he’s going to shy away from. I fully expect Jack to embrace this idea like I have, but even if he doesn’t, he is still going to find himself locked up with me come Under Siege. We’re going to have a steel cage match for the Answer’s World Championship, and that, my friends, is that.
(Kassidy winks to the camera before hopping off the piece of equipment she had been sitting on and disappearing.)
(Showdown fades to the ringside area.)
(“The Only Thing They Fear Is You” by Mick Gordon plays through the speakers as the crowd has a negative reception as Ryan Wilson comes out. Ronan Malosi is behind him massaging his shoulders and hyping up his partner. Ryan has a focused look on his face before he goes down the ramp with Ronan next to him applauding him.)
Gina Romano: THE FOLLOWING MATCH IS SCHEDULED FOR ONE FALL —
Virtual Crowd: ONE FALL!!!!
Gina Romano: — AND IT’S FOR THE EAW INTERWIRE CHAMPIONSHIP!!!! INTRODUCING FIRST…BEING ACCOMPANIED TO THE RING BY RONAN MALOSI…FROM MONTREAL, QUEBEC, CANADA…WEIGHING IN 220 POUNDS… HE IS THE GENERAL MANAGER OF SHOWDOWN…RYAN WILSON!!!!!!
Gavin Kirkland: Here is our General Manager, who is being accompanied by Ryan Wilson. Ronan Malosi is scheduled to face Justin Windgate in two weeks at Under Siege, but there’s the possibility that co-Interwire Champions could be a thing? It’s nothing unusual. The most recent recollection of this is from MarrKade back in 2019 where they were co-National Elite Champions, but we need to see Ryan pull the stops to win and with Ronan at his corner, it could be a possibility.
Eve: It seems like Justin Windgate will find himself in a bit of trouble knowing that his opponent at Under Siege will be at Ryan Wilson’s corner, but if Ryan Wilson wins tonight, does the match become a triple threat?
Deadprez: A few questions would raise, but it seems like we’ll answer them when we get there. If I were Justin Windgate, I would need to have eyes on the back of my head because there’s no doubt that Ronan is going to do what he can to make sure that Ryan Wilson walks out with the Interwire Championship.
(“Smoke and Drive [Remix]” by Machine Gun Kelly plays as the crowd gives a giant pop for Justin Windgate, who walks out with a clear and focused look on his face. The Interwire Championship is shining around his waist.)
Gina Romano: INTRODUCING HIS OPPONENT…FROM DETROIT, MICHIGAN…WEIGHING IN 225 POUNDS… HE IS THE CURRENT EAW INTERWIRE CHAMPION… ‘THE XTREME CLASSIC’ … JUSTIN WINDGATE!!!!!
Gavin Kirkland: Here is the Interwire Champion who won the Interwire Championship back in the Road to Redemption event in December! So far, I think that Justin has stepped up to the plate and been a wonderful Interwire Champion. The match was supposed to be him versus Ronan Malosi at Under Siege, but if Ryan wins tonight, it would raise a lot of questions on what the Interwire Championship match will be!
Eve: There is a part of Justin that would love nothing more than for this reign to continue, but I’m not sure about tonight. He’s a wonderful athlete, but Ryan Wilson has the hunger and most importantly, he has Ronan Malosi on his side who will stop at nothing to win the match!
Deadprez: This is truly going to be interesting, so I’m excited to see how all of this goes down! Let’s roll with this match up!
(DING! DING! DING!)
(Ryan Wilson steps forward to Justin Windgate and extends a hand for the Interwire Champion to shake, but Justin sticks a middle finger up, meaning all business before handing the title to the official who raises it up, letting all the fans know what the two men in the ring will fight for before handing it off to the timekeeper.)
Deadprez: The two Elitists circle around each other before going for the collar-and-elbow tie up! Ryan Wilson applies a wrist lock on the Interwire Champion, but Justin Windgate manages to get himself out of the hold before countering with a wrist lock of his own, but Ryan manages to get Justin’s neck in a headlock before taking him down! Ryan manages to get himself to his knee while maintaining hold of the headlock, but Justin pushes his challenger away to the ropes! Ryan rebounds himself off the horizontal set of ropes, BUT USES THE MOMENTUM OF RYAN TO CONNECT WITH A HIP TOSS! RYAN FINDS HIMSELF IN A SEATED POSITION AS THE CHAMPION JUMPS IN FRONT OF HIM, GOING FOR A SHOOT KICK, BUT RYAN DUCKS OUT OF THE WAY BEFORE TAKING DOWN JUSTIN WITH A SWEEP OF THE LEG!
Gavin Kirkland: Ryan Wilson throws himself on top of the Interwire Champion before connecting with some rapid punches to the champion before picking him up to his feet! He grabs Justin Windgate by his wrist before whipping him towards the ropes, but Justin counters the whip, sending Ryan into the ropes! Ryan rebounds off the ropes as Justin connects with a dropkick to his challenger! Justin kips up to his feet as he’s demanding for Ryan to get up! At the first sign of Ryan getting up to his feet, Justin connects with a superkick that takes Ryan down to one knee! Justin pulls Ryan closer to him before connecting with a suplex, BUT RYAN MANAGES TO SHIFT HIS WAY AND LAND ON HIS FEET BEFORE JUSTIN COULD CONNECT WITH THE MOVE! RYAN THROWS A PUNCH TO JUSTIN THAT STAGGERS THE CHAMPION BACK, BUT JUSTIN RETALIATES WITH A ROUNDHOUSE KICK, BUT RYAN DUCKS THE ROUNDHOUSE KICK BEFORE PICKING UP JUSTIN AND CONNECTING WITH A SIDEWALK SLAM! RYAN GOES FOR THE COVER!
OOOOONNNNNEEEEE!!!!
Eve: The Interwire Champion kicks out quickly! Ryan Wilson grabs Justin Windgate by his head and lifts him up to his feet! Ryan throws Justin head first against the turnbuckle at the corner! Justin turns to face Ryan at the corner as Ryan begins to stomp on the ribs of the champion! Slowly, Justin falls into a seated position as Ryan goes for the corner foot choke, stepping on the neck of Justin as the referee begins his count!
Referee: ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR! FIVE! GET OFF OF HIM, RYAN!
Deadprez: Ryan Wilson releases the corner foot choke and takes a step back, allowing for Justin Windgate to recollect himself to his feet! The referee begins to consult with Ryan about the rules! MEANWHILE, RONAN MALOSI BEGINS TO CHOKE THE INTERWIRE CHAMPION WITH THE ROPES! BUT, THE REFEREE TURNS AROUND QUICKLY AS RONAN HOLDS HIS HANDS UP IN DEFENSE! ALTHOUGH, THE REFEREE LOOKS A BIT SUSPICIOUS, BUT IT’S RONAN MALOSI, SO DO WE BLAME HIM?
Gavin Kirkland: Got a point there, DP! Ronan Malosi has tried to get this whole ‘conspiracy’ thing out there, but I feel like it’s bad news that Ronan is out there! Ryan Wilson picks up Justin Windgate before taking a couple of steps back! Ryan charges towards Justin at the corner before nailing him with a nasty looking big boot to the face of the champion! Ryan pulls Justin closer to him before following up the big boot with a snap suplex! Ryan quickly goes to Justin before applying a headlock on him! But, Justin slowly rises back to his feet as Ryan’s grasp of the headlock weakens! Justin connects with a side headbutt, making Ryan release the headlock! THIS CREATES A BIT OF SEPARATION BETWEEN THE TWO MEN AS JUSTIN DECIDES NOT TO WASTE ANYTIME, BUT GOING FOR A CLOTHESLINE ON HIS CHALLENGER, BUT HIS CHALLENGER DUCKS THE CLOTHESLINE, REBOUNDS OFF THE SET OF ROPES AND LOOKS TO GO FOR A SLINGSHOT SPEAR, BUT MANAGES TO TRICK JUSTIN BY SPINNING TO BEHIND THE CHAMPION, GRABBING HIM BY THE WAIST AND CONNECTING WITH A GERMAN SUPLEX!
Eve: But, Justin Windgate manages to land on his feet! Ryan Wilson turns around as Justin rushes towards Ryan and connects with a superkick, but Ryan catches Justin’s foot before he connects with the superkick! RYAN SPINS JUSTIN AROUND BY HIS FOOT AND NAILS HIM WITH AN ELBOW SHOT TO THE BACK OF THE CHAMPION’S HEAD! JUSTIN FALLS TO HIS KNEES AS RYAN GETS IN FRONT OF JUSTIN BEFORE FOLLOWING THAT UP WITH A SLIDING FOREARM SMASH TO THE FACE OF THE CHAMPION! JUSTIN FALLS TO HIS BACK AS RYAN WILSON GOES FOR THE COVER!
OOOOOONNNNNNEEEEEE!!!!!
TTTTTT–
Deadprez: Justin Windgate kicks out as Ryan Wilson rises to his feet! Ryan is demanding for Justin to get to his feet! Slowly, Justin is looking to get to his feet, but Ryan stops the champion with a running knee to the skull of the Interwire Champion! Justin collapses to his knees as Ryan begins to connect with a series of shoot kicks to the face of the champion. With each shoot kick, Justin’s body goes back before capturing his balance on his knees! Ryan’s shoot kicks continue to get more rapid as this goes on! Justin is doing his best to not fall back, but Ryan takes a step back before knocking the champion down with a knee strike! Ronan Malosi is applauding his partner, but Ryan is trying not to let Ronan distract him from the actual prize and that is becoming Interwire Champion and getting his very first championship in this company!
Gavin Kirkland: Ryan Wilson drapes the head of Justin Windgate on the middle rope! Now, he begins to choke Justin with the ropes! He presses his knee on the back of Justin, applying more pressure onto the middle rope choke in the process! The champion seems to be having a tough time with this move and it seems like the referee is going to need to start his count here!
Referee: ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR! FIVE! GET OFF OF HIM, RYAN!
Eve: Ryan Wilson holds up his hands in defense as he slowly backs away from Justin Windgate. The referee begins to lecture Ryan again as Ronan Malosi swings a punch to the face of the Interwire Champion! THE REFEREE TURNS AROUND, BUT HE DOESN’T SEE RONAN CONNECTING THE PUNCH TO JUSTIN, BUT HE DOES SEE RONAN BACK AWAY FROM JUSTIN. RONAN HAS HIS HANDS UP IN DEFENSE AND YOU CAN TELL THAT THE REFEREE IS LOOKING AT RONAN LIKE HE KNOWS THAT SOMETHING IS UP WITH HIM. It’s the second time that Ronan has meddled into the Interwire Championship match, but you are going to need to keep your eye on him! Who knows what Ronan is capable of?
Deadprez: Ronan Malosi is this close to costing Ryan Wilson the Interwire Championship! He really needs to just let Ryan do his thing! Ryan’s doing a great job with Justin Windgate so far and having Ronan out here is going to hurt his chances! Ryan is looking at Ronan, almost like his stare is telling him to “stay out” of his business and let him do his thing! Ryan hops over the top rope and lands at ringside before connecting with an uppercut to the Interwire Champion, making him fall back! Ryan rolls himself back inside the ring as Justin finds himself in a crawling position, but Ryan takes down the champion with a kick to the ribs of ‘The Xtreme Classic!’ Justin rolls to his back as Ryan gets his foot and presses all of his weight to the ribs of the champion! Justin begins to mutter in pain as Ryan releases his foot before connecting with a leg drop on him!
Gavin Kirkland: Ryan Wilson begins to apply a headscissors on the neck of Justin Windgate! He is looking to keep the champion down for as much as possible. The weaker Justin gets, the more likely that Ryan will walk out of Showdown as the Interwire Champion! Justin is trying to rip Ryan’s legs away from his neck, but Ryan wrenches in the headscissors, applying more pressure onto the champion’s neck! Justin uses one of his feet to stomp onto the mat, trying to get the encouragement and energy of the virtual EAW Universe to use it as strength to get him out of this hold! After a couple of stomps against the mat, the EAW Universe rhythmically stomps as Justin is mustering up the strength to get out of the headscissors! Ryan is shaking his head no as he could feel his grasp slipping away from him as Justin manages to kip up out of the headscissors of the Showdown General Manager!
Eve: Justin Windgate is looking at Ryan Wilson who manages to get back to his feet shortly after! Justin has a smirk on his face as Ryan Wilson is appreciating the fire from the Interwire Champion! In a way, it’s making Ryan step up his game and he knows that it’s going to be tough to take down Justin! Ryan goes after the champion with a clothesline, but Justin manages to duck, nailing his challenger with a pele kick as that sends him back! Ryan rushes forward, but Justin manages to get Ryan by the arm and connects with an armdrag, but he manages to maintain grasp of the arm! Justin bends the arm of Ryan Wilson back before connecting with an arm DDT! Ryan seethes in pain as he manages to get hold of his right arm! But, Justin manages to get Ryan’s arm back before delivering a nasty looking stomp! Ryan seethes in pain again!
Deadprez: But, look at the face of the General Manager, it’s almost like there’s a smile on his face! He does say that he’s a slut for pain, so Justin should be more than welcomed to inflict as much pain on Ryan Wilson as possible!
Gavin Kirkland: There’s no doubt that Justin Windgate would cross that line if it means that he retains the Interwire Championship! We know how important that the title is to Justin and he is not losing it anytime soon! I don’t think that he wants to lose it to Ryan Wilson! As excited as Justin was for this match up, I don’t think that he’s going into the match to lose! Justin manages to get Ryan’s arm in a standing armbar position before applying the typical armbar on the challenger! Ronan Malosi is trying to root his partner to make it to the bottom rope! Ryan’s trying to at least get his foot on the bottom rope, but it’s no use —
Eve: — RONAN MALOSI MANAGES TO GET RYAN WILSON’S FOOT AND PLACE IT ON THE BOTTOM ROPE! IN A WAY, JUSTIN WINDGATE NEEDS TO RELEASE THE HOLD, BUT THE REFEREE NOTICES WHAT RONAN DID BEFORE HE GOES TO YELL AT HIM! Justin releases the armbar off Ryan, who grasps onto the right arm that Justin began targeting moments ago! Ronan has his hands up in defense as the referee gives Ronan another warning as he continues to referee the main event! Ryan is clutching his arm as Justin swings at the General Manager with a punch, but Ryan manages to duck the punch before rebounding off the ropes, sliding underneath the legs of the Interwire Champion before rising up to his feet and connecting with a headscissors takedown! Justin gets back to his feet quickly, but Ryan takes Justin back with a dropkick as that sends the champion to the corner!
Deadprez: Ryan Wilson charges towards Justin Windgate at the corner with a meteora, but Justin manages to get out of the way at the last second, but Ryan manages to catch himself before colliding with the corner! Justin tries to go for a double knee backbreaker to the spine of Ryan, but Ryan manages to keep himself perfectly still as Justin goes crashing to his back! Ryan decides to get himself on the top turnbuckle as he has his eyes connected to Justin Windgate on his back! He flies from the top rope with an elbow drop to the heart of the champion!
Gavin Kirkland: BUT, JUSTIN WINDGATE ROLLS OUT OF THE WAY! Justin rolls himself out of the ring which may have been the smartest thing that he could have done, but he looks at the direction of his opponent for Under Siege, Ronan Malosi, who has been observing the match and causing a bunch of trouble for him! Ryan Wilson launches himself through the middle rope and connects with a tornado DDT on the Interwire Champion! Ronan provided a bit of distraction, allowing Ryan the opening to pull off that move! Ryan gets to his feet as he manages to get Justin by the nape of his neck and throws him body first against one of the steel steps! Ronan applauds his partner and his efforts so far into this match, but Ronan needs to be extremely careful not to get himself involved in this match!
Eve: He’s been getting himself involved in the match, Gavin! The referee has only acknowledged it once! Ryan Wilson takes a step back before rushing towards the champion, nailing him with a face wash as the back of Justin Windgate’s head lands on the steel steps! Ryan grabs the chin of the champion, making sure that Justin gets a good look at the next Interwire Champion before throwing him to the side! Ryan manages to get onto the apron, waiting for Justin to get himself to his feet, but you can tell that Justin is a bit out of it thanks to the face wash to the steel steps! Justin is trying to drag his body up to his feet as Ryan is more than anticipating for Justin to get up before Ryan connects with an apron somersault plancha to the champion!
Deadprez: NO! JUSTIN WINDGATE MANAGES TO CATCH RYAN WILSON FROM MID-AIR BEFORE POWERBOMBING HIM ON THE EDGE OF THE APRON! Ryan drops down, but Justin drops down as well! It seemed like that knocked some of his energy out of him! The referee races towards Ryan’s side, checking on him! JUSTIN USES THE TIME AND ENERGY TO GET TO HIS FEET AS HE RISES TO HIS FEET, BUT HE IS OBLIVIOUS TO RONAN MALOSI STANDING BEHIND HIM WITH THE INTERWIRE CHAMPIONSHIP! JUSTIN TURNS AROUND AS RONAN SMASHES THE CHAMPIONSHIP TO THE SKULL OF THE CHAMPION!
Gavin Kirkland: BUT, JUSTIN WINDGATE MANAGES TO DUCK TO THE GROUND, SLAMMING INTO THE BACK OF THE REFEREE, WHICH MAKES HIM TURN AROUND! THE REFEREE IS LOOKING AT RONAN MALOSI WITH THE INTERWIRE CHAMPIONSHIP IN HIS HANDS! Justin is clutching to the front of his skull, implying that Ronan hit him with the title! But, Ronan is insisting that he didn’t hit Justin with the title! Ryan Wilson is sitting himself up as he’s trying to defend Ronan and his action!
Referee: (off-mic) Ronan, I have given you multiple warnings and let you get away with so much in this match, but I can’t have you get in the way of this! I could disqualify you right now, but I am determined to have a clear winner for this main event! For that, I will not disqualify you!
Ronan Malosi: (off-mic) I like this ref. :drakelike:
Referee:(off-mic) But, Ronan, YOU ARE OUTTA HERE!!!!!!
(The referee points to the back. The virtual crowd pops for the decision made by the referee as Ronan Malosi completely loses his shit. Justin Windgate has a huge smile on his face as he sarcastically waves goodbye to Ronan.)
Ronan Malosi: (off-mic) You really going to make him do that to me, Ryan? :noah:
Ryan Wilson: (off-mic) Just listen to the official, Ronan. I got this under control. Just go to the back.
Ronan Malosi: (off-mic) Not even going to fight for me to stay? :wtf:
Ryan Wilson: I got this under control, Ronan.
(Ronan Malosi is trying to get the referee to reconsider, but the referee’s decision is final. Ryan Wilson is going to respect the referee’s decision as well, so Ronan has no other choice, but to head to the back.)
Eve: Wow, Ronan Malosi has been ejected by ringside! This match is truly going to be fair and square now!
Deadprez: This has made things a bit more interesting, but we’ll have more of this main event after our commercial break!
(Commercial break.)
(Showdown returns from commercial break as Justin Windgate seems to have the upper hand on Ryan Wilson with a chinlock on Ryan Wilson inside the ring.)
Gavin Kirkland: Welcome everyone back to Showdown! The Interwire Championship is on the line as Justin Windgate puts the title on the line against General Manager Ryan Wilson! Ronan Malosi has been ejected by ringside, which explains the lack of baldness at ringside! Since then, this match has been totally Justin Windgate! He pulls on the arms of Ryan back, adding onto the pressure before he slowly applies a surfboard stretch on the challenger! Ryan looks to be in pain as this is one move that I wouldn’t want to be a part of!
Eve: Ryan Wilson needs to really try to get himself out of the move, but being up in the air with that surfboard stretch isn’t the best scenario to be a part of! Ryan is trying to shift his body, trying to pin Justin’s shoulders to the mat as he’s able to do that! The referee goes for the cover!
OOOOOONNNNNNEEEEEE!!!!
TTTTTTWWWWWWOOOOOO!!!!!
Deadprez: JUSTIN WINDGATE GETS A SHOULDER UP AS HE MANAGES TO TAKE RYAN WILSON DOWN, MAINTAINING HOLD OF THE STRETCH, BUT RELEASES HOLD AS RYAN’S FACE COLLIDES FLAT ON THE MAT! JUSTIN MANAGES TO APPLY A WINDSOR KNOT ON HIS CHALLENGER BEFORE STANDING BACK AND KICKING HIM AS RYAN FLOPS TO HIS BACK! That thing was a thing of beauty and it’s a shame that we don’t see that move much on Showdown! Ryan tries to get himself to a crawling position as he’s headed towards the ropes at the side to help him to his feet! Justin gives Ryan a bit of time to get to his feet before getting the challenger by his right wrist and whipping him towards the opposite set of ropes! Ryan isn’t able to stop himself before Justin connects with a hip toss as Ryan lands on a seated position!
Gavin Kirkland: Justin Windgate does a handspring before nailing Ryan Wilson with a dropkick to the face! That was shades of Raven Roberts a bit, but he added his own twist to it! Ryan lands on his back! It seems like Justin has his sights on the top turnbuckle and it makes me wonder what is next on his sleeve and will it bring him closer to retaining his championship? Justin is at the top rope as he situates himself on top of it! HE HAS HIS EYES ON RYAN WILSON WHO SEEMS TO BE DOWN AND OUT AT THE MOMENT! HE IS JUST MOMENTS AWAY FROM RETAINING THE INTERWIRE CHAMPIONSHIP AS HE FLIES OFF THE TOP ROPE THE SHOOTING STAR PRESS THAT HE CALLS ‘X-FACTOR!’
Eve: Ryan Wilson manages to roll out of the way, but Justin Windgate manages to roll himself to his feet! If he didn’t do that, that could have been tragic for the Interwire Champion! Ryan stands himself up before nailing Justin with a superkick before picking him up for the ‘Mic Drop,’ the small package piledriver! But, Justin manages to keep his feet planted firmly on the ground! HE CANNOT LET RYAN WILSON CONNECT WITH THIS MOVE, BUT JUSTIN MANAGES TO LIFT RYAN ONTO HIS BACK BEFORE CONNECTING WITH A CRADLE BACK-TO-BELLY PILEDRIVER ON THE CHALLENGER! HE HAS RYAN WILSON IN POSITION FOR THE COUNT! IS THIS GOING TO BE IT?
OOOOOOONNNNNNNEEEEEEE!!!!
TTTTTTTWWWWWWWOOOOOOO!!!!!
TTTTTTTT–
Deadprez: RYAN WILSON KICKS OUT!!!!!
Gavin Kirkland: Justin Windgate is a bit shocked that the powerful move wasn’t enough to take down the General Manager, but Ryan Wilson has brought the smoke that Justin always asks from his opponents! It seems like Justin is more than ready to wrap up this match and call it a night! HE MANAGES TO GET RYAN WILSON UP TO HIS FEET BY HIS NECK! JUSTIN HAS HIS SIGHT SET ON THE TURNBUCKLE AS HE CONNECTS WITH THE ‘SLICED BREAD #2,’ BUT FOR THE WEEBS OUT THERE, THE JAPANESE NAME IS ‘SHIRANUI.’ ‘RUN IT UP’ ON RYAN WILSON, BUT RYAN MANAGES TO PUSH HIMSELF OUT OF THE MOVE AS JUSTIN WINDGATE IS SAT ON THE TOP TURNBUCKLE! RYAN MEETS WITH JUSTIN ON THE TOP TURNBUCKLE! HE MANAGES TO PUNCH THE BACK OF THE INTERWIRE CHAMPION BEFORE GETTING HIM IN POSITION BY STANDING ON HIS NECK —
Eve: REVERSE FRAKENSTIENER BY RYAN WILSON! JUSTIN WINDGATE SLIDES ACROSS THE RING IN THE PROCESS AS RYAN IS UP TO HIS FEET BEFORE STALKING JUSTIN UP TO HIS FEET — ‘CHAOS THEORY’ BUT JUSTIN MANAGES TO PUSH RYAN BEFORE HE COULD CONNECT WITH THE JUMPING CUTTER! Ryan lands on a seated position as Justin jumps on front of Ryan with a sliding clothesline that takes the challenger down! Justin rises back to his feet before connecting with a double foot stomp to the General Manager! The stomp lands on his chest, before going for the cover!
OOOOOOONNNNNNNEEEEEEE!!!!
TTTTTTTWWWWWWWOOOOOOO!!!!
Deadprez: Ryan Wilson with a kick out! But, it doesn’t seem to stop Justin Windgate who gets to a vertical base! He manages to get Ryan to his feet, but Ryan shoves Justin towards the ropes, but Justin swings at his challenger, but Ryan ducks the punch before nailing Justin with a side Russian leg sweep! Ryan finds himself on top of Justin, throwing a series of stiff punches towards the Interwire Champion! Justin rolls himself away, but Ryan manages to keep him still before beginning to throw elbow shots to the skull of the champion! Ryan rises to his feet before picking up Justin, nailing him with a one handed powerbomb! Ryan has Justin there for the cover! The referee gets into position for the cover!
OOOOOOOONNNNNNNNEEEEEEEE!!!!!
TTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOO!!!!
TTTTTTTTT–
Gavin Kirkland: JUSTIN WINDGATE KICKS OUT!!!!
Eve: Ryan Wilson doesn’t spend too much arguing with the referee! He’s already thinking about his next move! He rises to his feet as he waits for Justin Windgate to get back to his own feet! It seems like he’s going for the ‘Chaos Theory’ again! I BELIEVE HE TRIED TO GO FOR THAT MOVE EARLIER IN THE MATCH, BUT JUSTIN MANAGED TO GET OUT OF THE WAY BEFORE RYAN CONNECTED WITH THE MOVE! IT SEEMS LIKE THERE IS GOING TO BE NOTHING THAT STOPS RYAN WILSON! JUSTIN IS SLOWLY RISING UP TO HIS FEET — ‘CHAOS THEORY!’
Deadprez: Justin Windgate pushes Ryan Wilson away from him again! Ryan turns himself around as Justin connects with a superkick, but Ryan ducks the superkick! Justin tries to catch himself on his feet, but Ryan throws Justin with a snap saito suplex! Justin tries to get to his feet, but Ryan connects with a somersault clothesline, knocking the champion to his back! RYAN MANAGES TO GET JUSTIN WINDGATE BACK TO HIS FEET BEFORE GETTING HIM IN A HEADLOCK POSITION BEFORE RUNNING TOWARDS THE TOP TURNBUCKLE! ‘RUN IT UP!’ THE SHIRANUI THAT JUSTIN WANTED TO CONNECT WITH EARLIER IN THIS MATCH, BUT RYAN MANAGES TO LAY OUT JUSTIN WITH HIS OWN SIGNATURE MOVE! Now, it seems like he is going to add insult to injury as he throws a middle finger at Justin, getting him back for what Justin did to him earlier in the match before heading towards the top rope! Is he going to go for another move that Justin Windgate wasn’t able to hit earlier in this match?
Gavin Kirkland: It seems like he is going to hit the ‘X-Factor’ and end Justin’s reign as the Interwire Champion! Justin is down on out! I haven’t seen him move since Ryan connected with ‘Run It Up!’ Ryan goes for the top rope! The ‘X-Factor’ on Justin Windgate! BUT, JUSTIN MANAGES TO COUNTER WITH A DOUBLE KNEE FACEBREAKER ON RYAN! RYAN SPRINGS BACK TOWARDS THE ROPES AS JUSTIN LAYS ON HIS BACK! HE IS TRYING TO MUSTER UP THE ENERGY TO GO TO THIS MATCH, BUT RYAN HAS DONE A GREAT JOB WITH UPPING THE LEVEL OF INTENSITY FOR THIS TITLE MATCH! Ryan begins to back away towards the corner! He is trying to catch his breath, but Justin doesn’t want to waste anymore time as he manages to connect with a giant knee strike to the face of the General Manager! He follows that up with a running bulldog!
Eve: Justin Windgate is back up to his feet, but he’s stalking up Ryan Wilson back to his feet before rushing towards him, nailing with a modified version of ‘Run It Up’ A standing Shiranui as that takes down Ryan Wilson, but it seems like Justin is not done! He needs to take down Ryan Wilson and make sure that he stands down for good! It seems like he’s going for the top rope! I believe he is going to be hitting the ‘X-Factor.’ Both men have tried their luck with hitting the move on a few occasions during the match, but Justin is looking to capitalize on the move! HE POSITIONS HIMSELF ON THE TOP ROPE! HE DOES THE ‘BLUNT’ GESTURE THAT HE HAS DONE BEFORE FLYING OFF THE TOP ROPE! THE ‘X-FACTOR’ ON RYAN WILSON! JUSTIN WINDGATE CONNECTS WITH THE MOVE AS HE HOOKS RYAN’S LEGS!
OOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEE!!!!
TTTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
TTTTTTTTTTHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!
(DING! DING! DING!)
(“Smoke and Drive [Remix]” plays as Justin Windgate gets off of Ryan Wilson and onto his knees. Ryan rolls over to the side to recover after the very competitive match. The referee hands Justin Windgate the Interwire Championship as he musters up the strength to get back to his feet and raise the title high in the air.)
Gina Romano: THE WINNER OF THIS MATCH…AND STILL EAW INTERWIRE CHAMPION….JUSTIN WINDGATE!!!!!!
Deadprez: Justin Windgate does it again! He retains the Interwire Championship against a game Ryan Wilson! The champion continues to do amazing things on Showdown! It’s scary how good he is!
Gavin Kirkland: All the credit to Ryan Wilson who brought the fight to the champion! With Ronan Malosi being ejected from ringside, it seemed to throw Ryan off guard a bit, but he did what he could to bounce back! He brought the fire and we saw the smoke! We recognize Ryan’s talents clearly and I’m not just saying that to kiss up to him!
Eve: :usure: But, Ryan did an amazing job tonight. That deserves a ton of credit, but Justin Windgate is still the Interwire Champion!
Gavin Kirkland: Oh, at the ring!
(Xavier Williams slides underneath the ring. He is inches from Ryan Wilson who is already beaten up. Justin Windgate stares at Xavier and takes it as his cue to leave the ring.)
Eve: Ryan Wilson had just competed in a highly competitive match, but it seems like Xavier Williams has Ryan where he wants him! Ryan is grasping for something as he does, but it happens to be the leg of ‘The Best in the World.’ It’s almost like Ryan is staring into the eyes of death when he looks at Xavier! :lupe:
Deadprez: XAVIER WILLIAMS PICKS UP RYAN WILSON BEFORE NAILING HIM WITH A SUPERKICK! THAT TAKES DOWN RYAN, BUT XAVIER IS NOT DONE HERE — DOUBLE UNDERHOOK CANADIAN BACKBREAKER, BUT IT TRANSITIONS TO A MODIFIED CORKSCREW NECKBREAKER! ‘DEATH’S DANCE’ ON THE SHOWDOWN GENERAL MANAGER AS RYAN FINDS HIMSELF ON HIS BACK UNCONSCIOUS! Xavier is looking down on Ryan with an emotionless look on his face!
(Xavier Williams holds up a finger on the right hand and four fingers on the left hand, symbolizing fifteen days.)
Xavier Williams: (off-mic) It’s over.
(Meanwhile, Justin Windgate is looking at the whole altercation inside the ring from the top of the ramp as Ronan Malosi attacks him from behind!)
Gavin Kirkland: RONAN MALOSI BLINDSIDES JUSTIN WINDGATE FROM THE TOP OF THE STAGE! IT WAS THANKS TO JUSTIN’S TRICK THAT RONAN WAS EJECTED FROM RINGSIDE, BUT NOW, HE IS LOOKING TO GET SOME REVENGE! RONAN BEGINS TO THROW SOME PUNCHES TO THE FACE OF JUSTIN WINDGATE! THIS ISN’T FAIR! JUSTIN HAD GONE THROUGH A TITLE DEFENSE! RYAN WILSON HAD PUSHED THIS MAN TO THE LIMIT!
Eve: RONAN MALOSI HOISTS UP JUSTIN WINDGATE! NO! RONAN HAS JUSTIN’S BODY UP AS HE’S LOOKING TOWARDS THE SIDE OF THE STAGE! THIS IS THE SAME THING THAT HE DID TO ALISSA BRADY BACK IN OCTOBER! NO! RONAN! NOT THIS —
Deadprez: F-10 TO JUSTIN WINDGATE AS HE FALLS OFF THE STAGE INTO THE ELECTRICAL CRATE OF BOXES!!! :damn: :damn: :damn:
(A bunch of sparks go off as the smoke begins to clear. Justin Windgate is unconscious in the crate of boxes as the referee begins to tend to Justin. Ronan Malosi looks more than proud of his work as he looks down on the Interwire Championship that Justin dropped when Ronan blindsided him. He raises the Interwire Championship high up as he looks at Justin who is being tended to by medical personnel.)
Gavin Kirkland: I can’t believe this goof did it again! He’s had some doubt on whether Alissa Brady and Justin Windgate are in cahoots, but Ronan just sent the ultimate message to Justin that he’s not playing and that the Interwire Championship is his for the taking!
Eve: That’s all the time we have now! Join us for the go home show to Under Siege! Signing off for Gavin Kirkland and Deadprez, I am Eve! Goodnight from East Rutherford!
(The last shot is of Justin Windgate being set in a stretcher with Ronan Malosi still raising the Interwire Championship high in the air.)
(EAW logo buzzes.)
