(RECAP–Last week, Showdown held their Reasonable Doubt event at the Ball Arena in beautiful Denver, CO. The opening contest featured Ms. Extreme defeating Jack Ripley in a No Holds Barred match after Jack passes out. After the match, Ms. Extreme attacks GM Kennedy Street who was doing commentary at ringside. Then a mystery person comes from out of nowhere and completely annihilates Ms. Extreme. Soon after, the mystery person is revealed to be the returning Pandora Paisley. The next match was the four way “Unique Opportunity” Ladder Match for two briefcases. One has a title opportunity and the other forces the holder to be Kennedy’s assistant for the next 30 days. Major Scotty Connor grabs the first briefcase while Drake Armstrong grabs the final briefcase to end the match. Backstage, Kyra Phillips interviews Adam Lucas, before they see med staff running to a room where they see Kassidy Heart beaten, bloody, and left unconscious. Heidi Huxley says an investigation will be done to find out who the attacker is. The next match sees Lexi defeating Ashlynn Quinn in a 2 out of 3 Falls match by winning 2-1. )
(The recap plays on as Xander Payne and Ryan Joseph Wilson coming to the ring and talking about their upcoming Tag Team Championship Match at Operation: Doomsday before announcing that their team’s name is now DOMINION! The next match has Veena Adams successfully defending her National Elite Championship in a triple threat match against game competitors Hans Grayson and Roberto De La Rosa. Then we see that Alex Myers successfully wins the five way elimination match to become Number One Contender for the Answers World Championship by last eliminating Holly Arrow. The match also included Jon Kelton, Donovan Duke, and Harley Lewis.)
(The recap continues as Kennedy Street is seen talking to Heidi and Pandora backstage about adding somebody new to Showdown before revealing that she has initiated a trade that sees Amir Yusuf being traded to Showdown. Adam Lucas comes to the ring for his Clash of Kings match that everybody thought was going to be a forfeit victory for Adam, but out of nowhere, Kassidy Heart comes to the ring bandaged and bloodied wanting to compete. Kassidy fought hard, but her injuries were too much as the referee ruled her unable to continue, giving the victory to Adam Lucas. The main event of the evening saw a hard hitting and dangerous match as Jake Smith pulled through and retained his Answers World Champion against Chris Elite and Impact in the dangerous Armageddon Hell in a Cell match. (“Brick Wall” by A Day to Remember starts playing throughout the arena and the crowd immediately starts cheering wildly as they know that another exciting edition of Saturday Night Showdown. Showdown is taking place from the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The crowd scans across the raucous crowd who are holding their colorful, creative, and clever signs either supporting their favorites or making fun of the ones they don’t like. After a moment of showing the crowd, their signs, and the merchandise they are wearing, the camera settles at the commentary table where Deadprez, Eve, and Gavin Kirkland are sitting and more than ready to call all the Showdown action.)
Deadprez: WE ARE ON OUR WAY TO THE GRAND RAMPAGE! Ladies and gentlemen, allow me to welcome you all to another exciting edition of SATURDAY! NIGHT! SHOWDOWN! I am Deadprez and along with Eve and Gavin Kirkland, we will be calling all the Showdown action.
Eve: This is going to be a great edition of Showdown. We are coming off an amazing Reasonable Doubt event and it’s only going to get more action packed from now until the Grand Rampage.
Gavin Kirkland: WOOOOOOOOOO!!!! I AM SO EXCITED! OH PREZZY. EVE! This is going to be great! Tonight, we will no doubt be hearing from the NEW Number One Contender for the Answers World Championship. Alex Myers will be here, and they will no doubt tell the world how they feel.
Eve: Speaking of Reasonable Doubt, we will also be finding out the fates of Drake Armstrong and Scotty Connor as the contents of their Unique Opportunity Briefcases will be revealed. One gets a title shot. The other becomes Kennedy’s servant. Speaking of Kennedy Street, we will also have the fallout for BOTH Ms. Extreme and Jack Ripley after their No Holds Barred match. That will be tonight.
Deadprez: We also found out that the investigation into who attacked Kassidy Heart at Reasonable Doubt will begin tonight and we will also get an update on her condition tonight as well.
Gavin Kirkland: Is it time? Is it time for the MATCHES?
Eve: You love talking about the matches, don’t you? Alright, Gavin. Get us started.
Gavin Kirkland: WOOOOOOOOO! You don’t have to ask twice. Tonight, we have the return of Pandora Paisley to in ring action. She faces Lucas Johnson one on one tonight. It’s safe to say that Amir will be at ringside as well. Also tonight, we have Drake Armstrong taking on his biggest challenge to date as he faces Donovan Duke. After Reasonable Doubt, Drake is on top of the world and Duke is not in the best of moods. Will Drake’s rise continue, or will Duke stop Drake and force him to play 52 Pick Up? That is tonight.
Eve: We also have Roberto De La Rosa taking on Lexi tonight. Will La Familia help Roberto get back on track or will Lexi fight the numbers to make it two in a row? We’ll find out tonight. Also tonight we have Harley Lewis facing Hans Grayson. Two upstart competitors looking to build some momentum after Reasonable Doubt. Which one will get the win? That will be later tonight.
Deadprez: Also, tonight we have two big matchups coming your way. First, we have the King of Elite in action. Adam Lucas is in singles action as he takes on an Elite of a different variety in Chris Elite. This is going to be a great match. Finally in our main event. We have Alex Myers in singles action as they take on the newest member of Kennedy Street’s ground and Showdown Amir Yusuf. Yusuf won’t be coming alone as he will have Pandora Paisley accompanying him to ringside. Will this newfound alliance bring Yusuf victory, or will Alex Myers show why they are the Number One Contender. That is tonight. So right now, let’s get Showdown started.
(‘If You Want To’ by beabadoobee starts playing as Alex Myers enters the arena to a loud ovation from the crowd. They take a second to stop at the top of the ramp and soak in all the adulation before they head to the ring.)
Gina Romano: Ladies and gentlemen! Please welcome “THE GUARDIAN ANGEL” AND THE NUMBER ONE CONTENDER TO THE ANSWERS WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP… ALEX MYERS!
Deadprez: Here comes Alex Myers as they head to the ring. There’s no doubt they are going to address Reasonable Doubt. They picked up one of the biggest wins of their career at Reasonable Doubt.
Eve: They had to overcome four other tough competitors to earn the match at Grand Rampage against Jake Smith. They no doubt have to be feeling on top of the world.
(When Alex reaches the bottom of the entrance ramp, they walk over to a person in the front row, who is revealed to be Willow. Willow is cheering wildly for Alex as they stop and have a few words with Willow.)
Gavin Kirkland: Well, that is an interesting development right there. There is that woman that we saw talking to Alex a few weeks ago. I wonder what Alex is saying to her.
Eve: As interesting as it may be, it’s none of our business.
Deadprez: This individual right here has been on the rise their entire career. At Grand Rampage they could reach the top of the mountain for the first time in their career when they face Jake Smith for the Answers World Championship.
(After they finish talking with Willow, Alex grabs a microphone from Gina Romano and rolls into the ring. The crowd is still cheering loudly as Alex gets to their feet and stands in the center of the ring as their music fades off.)
Alex Myers: Everybody watched what happened last week at Reasonable Doubt where I had to survive a five-way elimination match in order to become number one contender. Let me tell everybody right now that I am more than excited for the opportunity to face Jake Smith for the Answers World Championship at Grand Rampage.
(The crowd cheers loudly and Alex lets them for a moment before they continue speaking.)
Alex Myers: And I am NOT about to let a golden opportunity like this slip through my fingers. I had to go through four of the absolute best that Showdown has to offer in order to prove that I have what it takes to become a World Champion.
Alex Myers: But this successful moment did not come without struggle and boy did I have plenty of struggles this season. Even to this day, I still blame myself for Hurricane Hawk being fired. I blame myself for Kennedy Street taking over and I blame myself for her reign of terror taking place on Showdown.
(The crowd boos at the sound of Kennedy Street’s name. Alex nods in agreement before they continue speaking.)
Alex Myers: But I strongly believe that if I become the Answers World Champion, I can easily fix all of that. That is beca….
(Alex is immediately cut off by “WAR” by grandson starts to play and the Answers World Champion Jake Smith has entered the arena to cheers from the crowd. Jake has a big smile on his face and the Answers World Championship belt on his shoulder before he heads to the ring.)
Deadprez: Well things are about to pick up now. Here comes the Answers World Champion Jake Smith. Jake is no doubt in a good mood after his night at Reasonable Doubt.
Eve: Of course. He survived the Armageddon Hell in a Cell match. Not only survive, he retained his title against two former World Champions.
Gavin Kirkland: Now he is heading to the ring all smiles and he is about to get face to face with his next challenger. Things certainly might heat up in the ring right now.
(Jake walks over and grabs a microphone from Gina Romano and walks up the steps to get into the rings. He stands right in front of Alex as his entrance music fades off.)
Jake Smith: I’m sorry to interrupt you, Alex, but you aren’t the only one who had a great night at Reasonable Doubt. You became Number One Contender, but I survived the Armageddon Hell in a Cell and retained my Answers World Championship.
Jake Smith: I am more than proud of what I was able to accomplish to this point. Now? Now there’s nobody around that can doubt me. I am the LEGIT Answers World Champion.
(Jake holds his title proudly in the air which gets cheers from the crowd.)
Jake Smith: Reasonable Doubt was a point proven. Reasonable Doubt was the chance I needed to finally shut some people up. That’s considering those same people were not giving me the credit I deserve. Now my next challenger is you, Alex.
Jake Smith: After hearing you talk, I can tell you that I get it. I’ve been there. Wanting to make up for the sins of your past to better your future. But let me ask you something, Alex.
(Alex looks at Jake quizzically wondering what he is going to ask.)
Jake Smith: How do you think I feel about this whole thing? I mean you eliminated Holly last to get this match. I mean she was only a few seconds away from winning the match and facing me for the title. How do….
(Jake gets cut off by Alex when they decide to speak up. That act caught Jake by a little surprise.)
Alex Myers: Whoa whoa whoa. Hold on a second. Before you go any further with that. I know exactly how the match would have gone between you and Holly. You would have pulled a Myles and done the same thing to Holly Arrow that he did to Myles.
(Jake didn’t appreciate that remark one bit, but it did get a reaction from the crowd. The crowd reacts with a bunch of oooohhh’s. Alex waits for the crowd to die down before continuing.)
Alex Myers: The remark aside, I am not here to trade barbs with you, Jake. I am here to fight.
(The crowd starts to cheer at the thought of a fight, but Jake shakes his head in the negative.)
Jake Smith: Now hold on just a second. I don’t think so Alex. You already have a match tonight. You are taking on Amir Yusuf later tonight. You know what else? I am going to be at ringside to see exactly what you’ve got against Amir. See you later tonight.
(Jake drops the microphone and immediately leaves the ring, leaving Alex in the ring. When Jake leaves the ring, he starts heading up the entrance ramp to head to the back.)
Gavin Kirkland: That was an interesting interaction to say the least. But now we know the Answers World Champion will be at ringside for Alex’s match as he takes on Amir Yusuf later tonight.
Eve: Now with Jake Smith thrown into the mix, who knows what’s going to happen. This is gonna be good.
Deadprez: This is going to have the elements of combustibility tonight. Alex Myers takes on Amir Yusuf and Jake Smith will be at ringside tonight. That is in our main event. After we come back from commercial break, we have the opening contest of Saturday Night Showdown. Stay tuned. We will be right back.
(The final shot shows Jake walking up the entrance ramp and Alex watching from the ring as the camera cuts to commercial.)
(As the camera cuts back from a commercial, ‘Ready to Die’ by the Notorious B.I.G. plays as the crowd gives him resounding boos. They do not seem to approve of him, especially considering his opponent is a returning superstar. He does not mind this, though, as he continues to walk down the ramp and enters the ring as he waits for his opponent.)
Gina Romano: THIS MATCH IS SCHEDULED FOR ONE FALL WITH A TWENTY MINUTE TIME LIMIT, INTRODUCING FIRST, THE WRESTLING MACHINE— LUCAS JOHNSON!
(‘Just Stop’ by Disturbed plays as the crowd cheers and boos to a much louder amount. The returning superstar has made her way to Showdown, as she walks down the ramp and enters the ring. She eyes down Lucas in a more sadistic way, as she waits for the match to start.)
Gina Romano: AND HIS OPPONENT, FROM NEWARK, NEW JERSEY— THE HELLCAT, PANDORA PAISLEY!
DING! DING! DING!
Eve: So we are off! Pandora has made her return to Showdown after nine long months, and it will be interesting to see how she treats this matchup! Both Pandora and Lucas are talented competitors, but Lucas has stayed in the ring for the nine months Pandora has been out. Can she shake off the ring rust to overcome one of Showdown’s most proficient competitors in the ring? Let’s see. Both of them are fairly equal in height, with Lucas having a slight advantage. Lucas comes in, and he’s going to lock up with Pandora! Both of them lock up, and Lucas is easily out wrestling her on the inside! He’s grabbing ahold of her tricep as he pushes Pandora away!
Deadprez: And he smirks, like he’s done something. He probably angered Pandora, but knowing her, she’s probably going to keep her poker face on and figure out Lucas’ game! She tries to lock up again, but Lucas goes for a double leg! She sprawls, but Lucas is too quick and he lifts her up for a German Suplex! No! She does a backflip and lands on her feet! That was something that she did not expect to see, man! Lucas is a different animal right now! Pandora and Lucas are eyeing each other down, and Lucas knows he’s partly winning!
Gavin Kirkland: And it seems like Pandora wants to make this a brawl! She shoves Lucas back, but Lucas comes back with a shove of his own! He isn’t going to take any disrespect from the Hellcat, and it’s clear what his intentions are! Pandora sends an elbow into his face, but Lucas leans back and follows up with an elbow of his own! Pandora takes it to the nose, and she looks at him, unfazed! Lucas follows up with a check kick, which stuns Pandora! She staggers back, and Lucas follows up with a dropkick!
Eve: No! Pandora is still standing, as she sidesteps it! Lucas stands up, and he’s met with a kick to the face by Pandora! I don’t think he saw that coming, and it’s clear that early on, Pandora’s shaking off the ring rust! Both of them are nodding at each other in a mocking manner, and they decide to lock up yet again! No! Pandora ducks under and she grabs ahold of him, throwing him overhead for a Belly to Back Suplex! That just took out Lucas as he is shocked! He holds his head up and is trying to figure out where all of this came from!
Deadprez: I don’t blame him. I don’t think anybody saw this coming from Pandora, who quickly came back from nine months out of the ring and keeping up with Lucas Johnson! He may not be the best talker, but he’s one of Showdown’s best technical wrestlers, and this is impressive for the Hellcat! Now, it’s Pandora mockingly nodding a bit more. Lucas stands up, and he wants to go back to wrestling with the Hellcat! Can he do so, though? Pandora just shoves him off, but Lucas is persistent!
Gavin Kirkland: Pandora showing no respect towards Lucas Johnson, and you have to wonder if that’s starting to get to his head! Lucas shrugs it off, and he comes right back with a sweep to the legs! It catches Pandora off guard, and Lucas takes this opportunity to mount on top of her and he’s trying to catch her into an armbar, but no! Pandora lifts him off her, and she’s getting into a powerbomb position! She lifts him up, and she slams him back down! No! Lucas manages to swerve out of it and he catches her in a frankensteiner! What the hell? That just came out of nowhere, and he rebounds off the ropes! He’s not stopping!
Eve: What has gotten into him! Lucas rebounds into a massive dropkick, which catches Pandora off guard as it sends her into the ropes! Yes, this is starting to look more and more like a striking match than a wrestling one, and you must wonder if this is what Pandora wants! Lucas is reeling up for a clothesline, and he runs off— NO!
Deadprez: What the hell? Pandora and Lucas just collided in midair, and they both stunned each other! Both of these competitors putting everything on the line at the start of this match, and it’s looking like Pandora and Lucas are in the midst of an all-out war! Not very good for either competitor so far, as it’s looking very even! They’re both on the ground, as Lucas doesn’t seem to be getting up yet! Neither does Pandora! The referee is about to call it a draw, until—
Gavin Kirkland: WHAT? BOTH OF THEM JUST RAISE THEIR HAND AT THE EXACT SAME TIME! Neither elitist wants to end this match early, and they want to keep on fighting! Lucas and Pandora roll into a standing position, as Lucas comes in with a devastating right hook! Pandora returns fire, as she sends a left hook into his face as well! Both of these talents are just striking it out here, and it seems like both of them have somehow agreed to turn this match into a fight! Lucas sends another hook, but Pandora blocks it and tosses him down for a hip toss! These two talents are looking to be in top condition right now, and it seems like second wind is taking over!
Eve: Whatever it is, I am not complaining. It’s giving us a show here, and I don’t care if it’s (BLEEP!) and (BLEEP!) that’s keeping these two going. It’s breaking some bad here, and I’m starting to think this is a drug-fueled matchup here! Both Pandora and Lucas are clearly feeling some sort of high, and perhaps the audience is giving them that adrenaline they both need! Lucas comes in and he’s starting to look like a man possessed, as he tackles her with a spear from left field!
Deadprez: I don’t think he’s done a spear before, and he’s starting to just exceed every expectation I have had of him from the jump! Pandora is down, and she’s rolling out the ring! Lucas breathes in and he breathes out, as he’s starting to use some energy! Remember, there ain’t no breaks in that ring. It’s consistent from here to there, and the fact that Lucas is still going despite all of this is starting to show his true strength! Pandora is out, and Lucas rebounds off the ropes and flies on the outside for a Suicide Dive! Takes out Pandora, who’s knocked out on the outside!
Gavin Kirkland: And Lucas tosses her back inside! You have to wonder if maybe, just maybe, leaving her on the outside was a better option. Perhaps a win by DQ is better than no win at all, especially considering Pandora can turn up the heat when there’s a clear danger! Lucas goes for the cover! No! Pandora kicks out before the referee can begin the count! Bro, what are these people on tonight? Lucas is disappointed, and he wants to pull out a victory early on! Like I said, if he wanted a victory, he may as well just left her outside! Ten count takes her out, boom. Easy W.
Eve: They’re not cowards like you, Gavin. C’mon. Some people like to win with honor, and Lucas might be one of those people! Lucas pulls Pandora in, and he turns into the KillSwitch, but no! Pandora turns out and shoves him back, before landing a devastating SUPERKICK! The Cat’s Paw connects as Lucas is knocked out! Pandora pulls him in, and she’s going for the cover! Can it put Lucas out? I’m starting to think this might be it! That kick is one powerful strike, and it’s enough to potentially end this man!

Deadprez: No! Lucas has his foot on the rope, and Pandora pulls it off as she goes for the cover again! Not a good choice, as Lucas wraps his arm around her neck and he’s going for a choke! He tries to choke her out, and that might have just ended it right there! Lucas has her turned around as he latches on the Rear Naked Choke! Pandora is trying to fight out of it, but Lucas is too strong! She has to send an elbow into the man’s nose, as she is released! Pandora runs towards the ropes as she takes a breather! Clearly this was not something she had in mind, and it’s starting to look like Lucas is getting his way this time around! He wanted to tap her out, and it’s looking like this might be the case!
Gavin Kirkland: Pandora is switching the gears on in her head, as she tries to analyze the situation! No time, though, as Lucas sends a feint kick to her face! She runs, agitated, but she runs right into THE BLUEPRINT! The RKO connects, and that just took out Pandora! Maybe, just maybe, Lucas might actually get the win here and cause an upset! A return match could be potentially spoiled for Pandora right here!

Eve: No! Pandora lives on, as Lucas is holding his head back and clearly winded! Pandora just made this match something that he was going to remember, and it’s clear that she refuses to let her return be spoiled! Lucas wants something, and he’s doing anything he can to get it, as he sends devastating right kick after right kick into her leg! Most of her signatures require those legs, so it’s a smart strategy on his end! Whether or not it will continue is entirely up to him right now! I’m starting to think he can really push this, and move into a potential victory here!
Deadprez: No! Pandora comes in with a headbutt with stuns Lucas! She lifts him up in the air for a suplex, as she hooks the arm and throws him overhead! Lucas is slammed down, as Pandora jumps right back up! Both of these competitors are giving it everything they have! One of them wants to potentially start a mean streak, and one of them wants to really push it and break boundaries here! Pandora mounts on top of him as she sends fists into his face! Close handed fists just breaking Lucas’ skull in, and perhaps this could be it!
Gavin Kirkland: I’m starting to think that Lucas might’ve gotten himself into a situation he cannot get out of, as Pandora is keeping that mount tight! Lucas takes advantage of this as he rolls her over and proceeds to roll into a rollup! The cover breaks at one! Pandora turns around, but she’s met with a headbutt that Lucas delivered of his own! Clearly, he wants his get back as well! Not looking very good for Pandora here!
Eve: And Lucas comes in with multiple punches as he tries to overwhelm her! I’m starting to think he can actually pull out something here, as the match nears the final minutes! Who can pull out the victory here? The Wrestling Machine or the Hellcat? Pandora looks to be overwhelmed, as Lucas pulls her in and throws her overhead for a Belly to Back Suplex! Lucas turns around, and she’s slamming the mat over and over again! Pandora is staggered here, and this could lead into the Lightswitch!
Gavin Kirkland: And now Lucas is hyping himself up! Pandora is starting to look more staggered, as Lucas comes in for the Claymore kick— no! Pandora turns around and she strikes him with a right hook! The right hook staggers Lucas, as Pandora is seeing red! She knows that she has her win right here, and she reels that boot up! Pandora runs off the ropes as she comes into contact with Lucas for the PANDORA’S BOX! SPINNING BIG BOOT JUST TOOK LUCAS OUT, AND NOW IT’S PANDORA LOOKING FOR THE COVER! CAN SHE GET THE WIN?

(“Just Stop” by Disturbed starts to play throughout the arena as the boos start to echo. She rolls off and has her hand raised in victory by the referee as she yanks it away and Amir Yusuf is in the ring holding her arm up instead in victory.)
Deadprez: Pandora Paisley came back with a vengeance, and she defeated one of the true ring veterans in the EAW and a man who is a solid mat wrestler in the ring, but we never saw that fire from Pandora before. She was unleashed.
Gavin Kirkland: Talk about MY Hellcat! I was so excited to see her back and now look at her! She came in with a huge win over Lucas Johnson and now look at that Cheshire smile!
Eve: Pandora was extremely impressive here tonight and let’s not take anything away from Lucas Johnson, but it looks like she has something to say!
(Amir Yusuf hands her a mic as Pandora paces a little, trying to catch her breath, brushing her long hair back some.)
Pandora Paisley: Cut the bloody music!
Gavin Kirkland: I love it when she talks dirty!
Eve: Gavin… shut up!
(The music stops as it is now drowned by boos.)
Pandora Paisley: Before I continue…. Get this piece of garbage out of me ring!
(The referees are helping Lucas Johnson to the back, she is watching it closely as he tries to get back in the ring, but the referee holds him back to protect him from two wrestlers in the ring now.)
Pandora Paisley: That’s right, tough guy. Now, what I would like to have right now is for all of you in this cheese loving, cheap mule piss you call beer town to shut the hell up and listen to me speak!
(The crowd erupts in boos as Pandora looks around and Amir laughs, he then runs her shoulders as she looks over at Amir and they end up kissing.)
Pandora Paisley: I don’t why we are in this (BLEEP) town in Milwaukee, but whatever, because all I see is a bunch of wankers here! After I beat Lucas Johnson, I hope you were watching Ms. Extreme. What happened last week at Reasonable Doubt was all YOUR fault, love. How many times do employees get to put their hands on the boss and still have a place of employment? You think that this is the Wild Wild West, a place where you can walk around completely lawless and think there are going to be no repercussions? For weeks you have been running around here saying (Bleep) Disney here and there, to think that you have any right to put your hands on one of the pioneers in this business is downright bloody insulting!
(She looks around as the crowd is really letting her have it, but Pandora doesn’t seem to be bothered. She turns back to the camera.)
Pandora Paisley: Do you know what is funny? Disney is the whole reason you people are here right now! Sure, I don’t have the career highlights that you do. Drake appears to be extremely pleased with himself, likely due to his victory at Reasonable Doubt. As he approaches the ring, he shifts his demeanor and becomes more focused and serious, indicating that he is ready to defeat Donovan Duke tonight before entering the ring. )
Gina Romano: INTRODUCING FIRST!… FROM SCARSDALE, NEW YORK!…. WEIGHING IN AT 260 POUNDS…… HE IS ‘THE FUTURE’ !…. DRAKEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!… ARMSTRONGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Eve: Anyway, Drake recently achieved a big win on Reasonable Doubt, clutching one of the unique opportunity briefcases. He has been working hard to build his business, and now we’re eagerly waiting to find out what’s inside the briefcase. Will Drake become a servant, or earn the chance to compete for the National Elite title?
( As Drake enters the ring, he hands the briefcase to the referee and his theme music is replaced by ‘The Outsiders’ by Eric Church. Donovan Duke makes his entrance, greeting the crowd with waves before turning his attention to Drake, who is already standing in the ring, ready to face him. )

Gavin Kirkland: Donovan’s performance at Reasonable Doubt this year was amazing, and we all loved seeing it because we deserved it. Tonight, Donovan is set to give JUST another great performance, but this time it’s in a singles competition against Drake!
Eve: Donovan has been fighting and proclaiming himself as one of the pillars of Showdown everywhere he goes. He aims to make his name even more meaningful, and he’s determined to prove to Drake that he’s earned his reputation for a reason!
( DING DING DING! )
Gavin Kirkland: Drake vs. Donovan is underway. I love it when there are a lot of words starting with the letter ‘D’ like this, always.
Eve: Gavin.
Gavin Kirkland: No, mean people whose names start with ‘D’ are always great professional wrestlers, even the ones we may not like but we can’t disagree that he’s great too! Like Daryl Kinkade, you know?! Drake and Donovan meet each other in the middle of the ring and both men start off with a collar and elbow tie-up. Drake switches things up by going behind and putting Donovan into a wrist lock! Drake releases the hold and looks to bring him down to the ground with a Waistlock takedown instead!
Deadprez: Donovan manages to go behind right before Drake can even do anything, pushing him forward to make Drake’s face crash down to the floor! Donovan jumps forward and puts him into a headlock!
Eve: Drake slips out from under his arm to behind and pushes Donovan forward to the ropes as soon as possible. Donovan runs towards the ropes at full speed as his back hits the ropes and he bounces back towards Drake. Drake throws a punch, but Donovan pulls back, hooking both arms of Drake and rolling forward with a quick roll-up, looking to steal a victory right there!
Gavin Kirkland: Not so fast, as Donovan quickly kicks out right before the referee can even do anything. He turns back around to Drake as soon as possible and pulls him off the mat back to his feet. Donovan then grabs Drake and sends him towards the ropes. Drake bounces off the ropes, and Donovan looks to deliver a huge clothesline!
Deadprez: Donovan rolls underneath Drake’s arm up to the front, pops back to his feet as fast as possible, and grabs Drake from behind, looking to go for a German Suplex to take him down!
Eve: Drake throws a back elbow to the side of Donovan’s head, but Donovan ducks under while holding onto Drake’s waist. Drake tries again with another arm, but Donovan manages to duck under once more. Drake then uses his arm to snatch Donovan by the back of his neck and takes him down to the ground, turning him into a grounded headlock.
Gavin Kirkland: Donovan is still very fast in this match, just like Drake. He quickly flips Drake forward while he’s on the ground, gets himself out of the grounded headlock, and throws a right hand right into Drake’s face!
Deadprez: Drake moves his face out of the way just in time as Donovan’s fist almost pounds the ground hard!
( Both men do a handstand flip back to their feet at the same time, as the crowd starts giving them a round of applause for such a great opening to this match so far! )
Eve: What a showcase by both Drake and Donovan! I can feel the intensity building up as they look at each other, each mind thinking of something different. It’s clear that there’s going to be a lot of action and excitement between these two right now! Both men start walking in and meet each other, looking to connect once again with another collar and elbow tie-up. But Drake quickly surprises Donovan with a kick to the gut, followed by a hammerfist shot to the back of his neck!
Gavin Kirkland: Drake looks down at Donovan once more while he’s hurt by those moves before running towards the ropes…. but Donovan quickly recovers and catches Drake, turning him around into a Spinebuster!
Deadprez: Donovan takes him down right off the bat with a Spinebuster, and my man doesn’t waste any time at all, baby! He jumps in and starts hammering Drake’s face repeatedly with his right hand, and the crowd is loving it here!
Eve: Drake eats all those fists coming right across his face and Donovan picks him off the mat once he’s done. Drake is still in trouble, and Donovan has the upper hand right now. Donovan grabs Drake and sends him right down to the corner. He runs in, lands both hands onto the ground, bounces off, and connects with a Handspring Back Elbow right to the side of Drake’s head while he’s stuck in the corner!
Gavin Kirkland: Donovan is on a roll right now, and he’s not backing away from anybody as he comes for more against Drake. As the longest-reigning National Elite Champion, Donovan always means business! He snapmares Drake down to the middle of the ring, leaving him in a seated position, and then charges in from behind to connect with a sharp Roundhouse Kick that hits Drake’s spine with precision!
Deadprez: The pain on Drake’s face is evident, revealing just how much the Roundhouse Kick has hurt him. Donovan wastes no time, picking Drake up off the mat and back onto his feet. Before Donovan can make a move, Drake sends him down to the ropes but Donovan is quick to bounce back off the ropes in a handspring style, and he’s looking to deliver another elbow right into Drake’s face!
Eve: DRAKE CATCHES AND INSTANTLY TAKES DONOVAN DOWN WITH A GERMAN SUPLEX!
Gavin Kirkland: As Donovan bounces off the ropes, he appears to be defenseless and this leaves him vulnerable to Drake’s powerful German Suplex right in the middle of the ring. Donovan hits the mat hard, and he’s clearly in a lot of pain as he holds onto his spine and tries to regain his footing while Drake wastes no time in rolling back to his feet, and he charges at Donovan at full speed…. TAKES DONOVAN DOWN WITH A HIGH KNEE RIGHT ACROSS DONOVAN’S JAW!
Deadprez: Donovan is taken down to the ground, and the situation is not looking good for the Oklahoma Gentleman. Drake quickly pops back to his feet and he doesn’t seem to have any respect for Donovan. Drake’s focus is on his wealth, and he believes that’s what he does best which reflects in the way he approaches the business, always thinking about the financial aspect of it. Drake goes behind Donovan, who is still down on the ground, and starts using both arms, wrapping around and locking him up with a rear naked choke!
Eve: I think Drake has a better plan than that as he releases Donovan quickly, grabs him by his head, slamming him down to the ground before using his knee to press Donovan’s face while he’s down to the ground in terms of disrespect to his opponent!
Gavin Kirkland: Drake keeps his knee pressed against Donovan’s head and applies more pressure to the move, even as the referee tries to tell him off. Drake feels annoyed, but eventually gets off of Donovan, only to become angry with the referee. Hey, don’t do that! You’re going to get disqualified, you idiot!
Deadprez: Drake shifts his focus back to Donovan, who is still lying down on the ground, before dropping his right knee onto the back of Donovan’s neck once again! Drake quickly grabs Donovan by his arm before connecting a double knee armbreaker, quickly putting him back down to the ground and following up with a wrist locked arm! Nice transitions by Drake there!
Eve: Drake takes over the match, giving Donovan a hard time working his way back into the fight. Drake releases the hold once again before throwing Donovan’s arm right down to the ground and giving him a quick, hard stomp, leaving him gritting his teeth and holding his arm in pain.
Gavin Kirkland: Drake walks away from Donovan, leaving him prone on the ground as the crowd starts booing him! Drake looks around and all he does is give them a sarcastic smirk before shrugging as if he doesn’t care much about them! If I were them, I would do the same too! Boo this man!
Drake Armstrong: (Off-Mic) Oh I’m so sorry Wisconsin but it must be difficult for you homeless farmers to witness someone as rich and good-looking as myself toying with your favs!

Deadprez: I guess Drake always wants to talk trash about people to make himself look as good as possible. Let’s be honest, it’s Drake. Like I said, I don’t like any Drake in this world. Donovan starts recovering, which brings the attention to Drake, who just looks back at his opponent to make more progress in this match. He pulls Donovan off the mat and sends him towards the corner.
Gavin Kirkland: Drake follows up and looks to attack Donovan in the corner, but Donovan ducks under and sends Drake over the ropes. Fortunately, Drake goes over the ropes and manages to land both feet on the apron! Donovan turns around and throws a punch to knock Drake off the apron, but Drake stops with a catch and sends Donovan back inside the ring with a forearm smash!
Eve: Drake starts stepping back into the ring, but little does he know that Donovan is coming at him and catching him while he’s going through the ropes! DONOVAN GRABS DRAKE AND DRAGS HIM BACK INTO THE RING WITH HIS HEAD UNDER HIS SHOULDER, LIFTING HIM UP HIGH AND LOOKING TO SPIKE DRAKE RIGHT TO THE RING GROUND WITH A CLIFFHANGER DDT!
Deadprez: Drake struggles and manages to get out of the hold just in time before landing both feet down onto the mat, pushing Donovan back to the ropes. Donovan hits the ropes and bounces off, quickly taking Drake down to the ground with a Running Dropkick!
Gavin Kirkland: DRAKE CATCHES AND A SITOUT POWERBOMB PLANTS HIM! QUICK COUNTER BY DRAKE ARMSTRONG AND NOW HE GOES FOR A COVER ON DONOVAN!

Donovan is the man who is really hard to put down, and it’s going to take Drake a lot of work to put someone like him down! Drake looks a bit frustrated there, but he doesn’t wait for any longer to continue the match.
Deadprez: Drake grabs Donovan once again and starts putting him on his right shoulder, lifting him up and seemingly going for a Front Powerslam to take down the Oklahoma Gentleman right there.
Gavin Kirkland: Donovan notices that this isn’t looking really good before slipping out to behind Drake and quickly grabbing him from behind.… A GERMAN SUPLEX SPIKING THE BACK OF DRAKE’S NECK TO THE GROUND! HE’S NOT DONE YET BEFORE ROLLING BACKWARD… A ROLLING CHAOS THEORY TAKING DOWN DRAKE!….
Eve: Donovan’s job isn’t finished there, and now he’s pulling Drake off the mat back to his feet once again in the same position of a German Suplex. Donovan releases the hold…. SWITCHES THINGS UP AND TAKES THE FUTURE DOWN WITH A DRAGON SUPLEX!
Deadprez: Oh boy, Drake is definitely going lights out after all those three devastating suplexes that he just went through. Donovan has the upper hand right now, and now he takes his turn to go all the way up to the top while Drake remains down on the ground. Drake isn’t moving, and Donovan reaches the top corner…..
Gavin Kirkland: A DIVING MOONSAULT ON DRAKE ARMSTRONG!
Eve: DRAKE LIFTS BOTH KNEES BARELY UP HIGH IN THE AIR, AND DONOVAN LANDS ON THEM, CAUSING HIMSELF TO HIT HARD ON THOSE KNEES AND COLLAPSES PRONE IN PAIN TO THE GROUND BY THE COUNTERATTACK! Both men end up lying on the ground together because Drake also needs to work on his recovery while Donovan just took a sudden counter from Drake!
Deadprez: What a fight it has been going through so far. Drake tries to prove himself wrong and shows that he could beat one of the best we have on Showdown today and giving Donovan the reason why he’s the future, while Donovan fights him to protect his status to be untouched and showing that he’s not the easy one to be beaten!
Gavin Kirkland: Donovan holds down his gut and starts coming back to his feet, struggling through the pain and suffering that he fights against right now. Drake starts pushing himself off the mat with his right hand holding down the back of his neck after taking all those suplexes from Donovan.
Eve: Drake reaches both feet and wins the race against Donovan before charging at him and getting him back to his feet. Drake punches him right in the face to stun him before quickly snatching him up to his feet, looking for a Double Underhook Suplex to bring Donovan down to the ground!
Deadprez: DONOVAN MANAGES TO STRUGGLE HIS WAY OUT AND LANDS BOTH FEET INSTEAD OF BEING TAKEN DOWN BY DRAKE! DONOVAN TWISTS HIS ARM AROUND, PULLS DRAKE IN BY HIS WAIST, AND QUICKLY KNOCKS DRAKE OUT COLD WITH A HUGE LARIAT!
Gavin Kirkland: A huge lariat hypes the crowd up right there, but Donovan isn’t done right away! He picks Drake off the mat and now he puts him into a seated position…. BOUNCING OFF THE MAT AND CUTTING DRAKE’S HEAD OFF WITH A SLIDING VARIATION OF THE LARIAT! DOWN GOES DRAKE!
Eve: Donovan isn’t going for a pin right away and Drake is just being taken down to the ground by two lariats that are coming at him. Drake holds down his head and looks in absolute pain right there. Donovan starts coming back to his feet before leaning against the ropes and waiting for Drake to come back. Donovan’s both eyes are completely locked with Drake and Drake is in big trouble here….
Deadprez: ‘DEALER’S CHOICE’ !!!!!!! A SPINNING BACK FIST-
Gavin Kirkland: DONOVAN SPINS AROUND BUT DRAKE DUCKS UNDER AND LIFTS HIM UP HIGH… ‘BY THE BOOTSTRAPS’ CONNECTS! A JUMPING SHINBREAKER TAKING DOWN DONOVAN!
Eve: DRAKE HANGS ON WITH DONOVAN STILL IN THE HOLD BEFORE THROWING HIM UP INTO THE AIR, CATCHING HIM, AND SLAMMING DONOVAN RIGHT DOWN TO THE GROUND WITH A SPINEBUSTER IN COMBINATION! DONOVAN IS OUT, AND THIS IS A GOOD CHANCE FOR DRAKE TO GO FOR A COVER!
Gavin Kirkland: Donovan is down, but Drake isn’t going for a pin right away after hitting him with a combination of moves. Drake pushes himself off the mat and now heads towards the corner, backs himself into the corner, and keeps his eyes on Donovan from there. Drake looks to finish it another way around here, with Donovan not noticing anything at the moment.
Deadprez: DONOVAN STARTS COMING BACK TO HIS FEET, STILL TRYING TO RECOLLECT ANYTHING THAT’S GOING ON RIGHT NOW. DRAKE WASTES NO TIME, RUNNING OUT OF THE CORNER AT FULL SPEED AND LOOKING TO FINISH DONOVAN OFF WITH “HALBERD FROM HELL”!!!! A RUNNING DROPKICK TO HIS ABDOMEN!!!!
Eve: ‘DEALER’S CHOICE’ IN THE MID-RUN TURNING DRAKE INSIDE OUT! DRAKE COLLAPSES TO THE GROUND IMMEDIATELY, AND DONOVAN FALLS INTO A COVER ON DRAKE! HE MIGHT GET IT THERE!

Deadprez: Drake uses his right hand to scratch Donovan’s face like a cat and attempts for an escape! Donovan has no choice but to throw Drake right down to the ground. Drake lands on both feet, runs in, and quickly washes Donovan’s face with a Big Boot!
Eve: Donovan quickly falls to the ground, and Drake is the one making it quick this time. Drake pulls Donovan off the mat right after taking him down to the ground, and this time, he starts setting it up…. ‘DEATH PENALTY’ !!!!!!! GOTCH STYLE-
Gavin Kirkland: Donovan also fights back just like Drake did earlier, and Drake tries to resist the refusal from Donovan. Donovan shakes himself off Drake’s hold before Drake forcefully releases him, taking him down to the ground with both legs and trying to put him into “Will Killer,” which is a Single Leg Boston Crab!
Deadprez: Donovan uses his free leg to kick Drake away right on his chest on repeat, as Drake gets hurt enough and releases him before walking away from Donovan. Donovan rolls back to his feet as soon as possible before running behind Drake again, looking for another German Suplex to take Drake down!
Eve: Drake doesn’t feel like he wants another move before kicking Donovan in his gut and quickly snapmares Donovan to a seated position in front of his leg. Donovan gets set into a seated position and connects with a sharp kick to the back!
Deadprez: Donovan luckily moves out of the way just in time as Drake kicks the air and is surprised by Donovan’s quickness in the encounter! Donovan wastes no time getting back to his feet, charges at Drake… AND QUICKLY PUTS HIM IN THE ‘BANKRUPT’ SUBMISSION HOLD! THE GUILLOTINE CHOKE BY DONOVAN DUKE IS GOING TO END DRAKE RIGHT THERE!
Gavin Kirkland: Drake is in serious trouble right there, and Donovan locks him tightly in the submission hold. Donovan takes Drake down to the ground completely, and now he keeps choking Drake! Drake tries to struggle his way out, but he doesn’t seem to be making any progress. Donovan uses his left hand to hammer Drake, making it much worse for him! He puts more work into the submission hold, looked to make Drake submit completely!
Eve: Drake manages to reach the middle rope, which isn’t too far away from him! He might still have a chance to escape from Donovan’s submission hold!
Deadprez: Oh wait, look! Drake starts fading away before he could even reach the middle rope, and now his eyes start closing slowly! The referee comes and checks on him, worried that he might be losing consciousness..….
Gavin Kirkland: IT’S OVER! DRAKE IS OUT! DONOVAN WINS!

Gina Romano: HERE IS YOUR WINNER!…. DONOVAN DUKE!
Gavin Kirkland: Donovan with a win and Drake put up an amazing performance and made it difficult for the former National Elite champion to defeat him! Great match by these two talented wrestlers!
Eve: Drake proved to Donovan that he was also a tough opponent, while Donovan showed Drake that he wouldn’t be beaten and that he would keep moving forward without anyone stopping him from fighting! Great showcase by both men!
( ‘The Outsiders’ by Eric Church hits as Donovan rises to his feet, raising his right hand high in the air as Drake leaves the ring in frustration and snatches the briefcase from the referee before quickly making his way to the back. The final shot shows Donovan celebrating his win over Drake Armstrong before Showdown fades into a commercial break. )

Kennedy is seen in black slacks and a silver sleeveless halter top looking gorgeous as ever. Next to her was the beautiful Heidi Huxley as they both look at the briefcases together. Major Michael Scott Connor was already standing there in attention, she was just waiting for Drake Armstrong who just had a match in a losing effort to Donovan Duke, the longest reigning National Elite Champion of all time.)
Major Connor: I would like to know what my briefcase has in it, Ms. Street.
Kennedy Street: Oh, I bet you do honey, but we are going to wait until Drake Armstrong comes so that we can reveal them both, but first, Major, you and Kennie need to talk because there is a 50/50 chance that you could be serving me and Kennie wants to make sure that you understand what that entails but Kennie is pretty sure that for a military man like yourself, that we are all aware of the servitude for this country which Kennie commends you, liking men in uniform.
Major Connor: No offense ma’am, but the United States of America differs in servitude over a civilian like you.
(Kennedy is a bit confused at what he is trying to say. She looks over to Heidi Huxley who shrugs her shoulders.)

(The Major tries to cut into the conversation to make sure that they understand his true intentions but instead as he is about to say something, Drake Armstrong holding the back of his head, in his wrestling gear, holding the back of his head with an ice pack, stumbling in and not happy that he lost his match against Donovan Duke.)
Drake Armstrong: I almost had him! You saw that, right?
Kennedy Street: We did honey. You almost had him, Heidi and Kennie were cheering for you all the way but unfortunately it was all for not, but that is okay, you still have a briefcase, so look at the Brightside, you will get the opportunity either at a title or to serve me, it’s a win win, right?
(The two men stay silent for a moment before Drake Armstrong bursts out quickly…)
Drake Armstrong: Yes! Yes! Of course! Whatever I have, it will be an incredible opportunity! Right Major?
Major Connor: No offense, but you are 200 pounds of chewed up bubble gum, son. I have integrity and morals; do you hear me? I do not serve anyone but the corp and that is it. I want one thing, that title match because I have fought my way to an opportunity for it and if that means that I have to take down every and any Elitist that gets in my way. (Kennedy though cuts him off….)
Kennedy Street: You will do whatever it says in the briefcase or Kennie will suspend your ass without pay, are we clear, Major?
Major Connor: Crystal, ma’am.
Kennedy Street: Now THAT is a good soldier. As Kennie was saying, both of you were victorious at Reasonable Doubt, each one of you grabbed a briefcase, one is a title shot of MY choosing, the other is a 30-day sentence of Servitude starting next week. Now, before Kennie opens the briefcases to see what your fates are, first and foremost, to congratulate both of you in winning the match and no matter what happens, both of you have established yourselves as top Elitists on Showdown. Stay the course, don’t piss me off and go win the title and serve me well, then you two will be rewarded, is that understood?
Major Connor: Yes, ma’am.
Drake Armstrong: Anything for the greatest General Manager of all time! I will guarantee you Kennedy that no matter what I have, I will make sure that it is used to the utmost of my abilities. All I can do is promise that I will do my very best to please you.
(The Major just shakes his head.)
Kennedy Street: Simmer down, honey, Kennie is not looking for a Man-Whore. Anyway, let’s find out what each one of you won. Kennie will now open both suitcases, then I will reveal what each of you won. The person who wins the title shot, Kennie will congratulate you and then on the way you go. As for the man who gets the other option, Kennie would like you to stay so that my expectations are me, Are we ready?
(The Major nods, Drake Armstrong smiles and rubs his hands together. Kennedy slowly opens the briefcase, and she looks inside both, she then looks up and smiles, at both men who are waiting to know what they were able to get.)
Heidi Huxley: Wow, how exciting!
Kennedy Street: It certainly is. So…. With the briefcase that has the title shot and Kennie will let that individual when this match will happen….
(Both men stand there in anticipation.)
Kennedy Street: Major Michael Scott Connor….. you have received….. THE TITLE SHOT!
Major Connor: YES!
Kennedy Street: Which means, Drake Armstrong, you are now my personal assistant that will do what Kennie needs for thirty days.
(The dejected Drake nods and mutters.)
Drake Armstrong: Yes Ms. Street.
Kennedy Street: You can go now, Major.
(A very happy and ecstatic Major leaves, Kennedy stands there for a moment, looking at Drake before she starts cracking a smile.)
Kennedy Street: Now, do this right? And big things will happen for you, honey.
Drake Armstrong: I promise to.
Kennedy Street: Good, you can start by getting Kennie a cup of coffee, whether it starts next week or not, show me what you have!
(Drake actually smiles as he runs and gets a cup of coffee.)

(‘Soy’ by Santa Fe Klan hits as the crowd meets them with boos. Roberto De La Rosa with La Familia begins to walk down the entrance ramp, as Roberto enters the ring while the rest stay ringside. He poses in the middle of the ring as he awaits his opponent.)
Gina Romano: INTRODUCING FIRST!!! From Hidalgo, Mexico! Weighing in at pounds. He is El Padastro, ROBERTO DE LA ROSA!!!!
Deadprez: Roberto had a great opportunity to become National Elite Champion last Saturday night in Denver during Reasonable Doubt, unfortunately, he got on the wrong end of Hans Grayson’s finishing maneuver which ended up costing him the match.
Gavin Kirkland: The Golden Niece managed to retain the title but she had luck on her side, Roberto and Hans Grayson I have to admit pulled out an incredible match and tonight Roberto has the opportunity to get back to winning ways.
( “Mr. Brightside” by The Killers plays over the speakers of the place while the rebellious one makes her way to the ring with a look of confidence and she appears to be in a good mood. )
Gina Romano: AAAAAAAND HIS OPPONENT!! From Detroit, Michigan! Weighing in at 117 pounds. She is The Motor City Machine Gun: LEXIIIIIII!!!
Deadprez: Here comes Lexi! Fresh off a win against Ashlynn Quinn at Reasonable Doubt in what felt like an incredible match. I know I had a good time describing the action when it happened.
Gavin Kirkland: I have to give it to Lexi she pulled off a good performance against a promising up-and-comer in Ashlynn. Let’s see though how she fares against some tough competition.
Eve: Lexi is in for a good challenge against the man who is about to make his appearance and march down the ring.
( Ding! Ding! Ding! )
Deadprez: AND HERE WE GO! This match is officially underway! Both opponents quickly meet up in the center of the ring and lock up, Lexi with the quick wristlock which is reversed by Roberto following a series of rolls and flips, and then goes for a wristlock of his own trying to control Lexi’s movements early on.
Gavin Kirkland: Lexi with one roll herself followed by a back flip and another flip which causes Roberto to let go of her. The fans cheer in appreciation for the display of athleticism on both sides.
Eve: Roberto is in a stand-off with Lexi but quickly glances at the Familia to the outside making head movements as we see Diego move to one side of the ring and Javier moves to another! They are trying to distract Lexi and Roberto tries to put a cheap on in BUT LEXI COUNTERS!
Deadprez: She blocks and throws a strike of her own! De la Rosa tries again and Lexi blocks and blasts him in the face with a palm strike! El Padastro backs himself against the ropes as Lexi moves to the opposite ones looking to gain momentum BUT SHE STOPS when she sees Javier trying to grab at her feet!
Gavin Kirkland: And this time Roberto succeeds in striking Lexi from behind the ploy worked the second time around! Roberto with a bit of humiliation as he throws Lexi out of the ring like she was a bag of trash and he brags about it BUT LEXI QUICKLY IS NOW BACK ON THE APRON!
Eve: Roberto looks surprised and suddenly dashes her way and gets clocked in the face for his effort! De la Rosa steps back to the center of the ring AND LEXI SPRINGBOARDS HERSELF INTO A MISSILE DROPKICK TAKING HER OPPONENT OUTSIDE OF THE RING!!
Deadprez: She quickly takes to the ropes AND SUICIDE DIVES INTO DE LA ROSA!!! She quickly forces Roberto back into the ring but he leaves to the outside again while Javier goes to the apron and gets in an argument with Lexi but quickly goes down again. The Familia decided to be a hindrance tonight it seems against the Motor City Machine Gun!
Gavin Kirkland: Roberto charges at Lexi but she headbutts her in the gut and she is looking to launch herself from the top ropes again! BUT LOOK AT DIEGO PUSHING HER OFF IT LANDING ON HER BACK WHILE THE OFFICIAL WASN’T LOOKING!! JAVIER DISTRACTED THE OFFICIAL!!
Eve: The referee warns them both that if they mess around he will eject them, now look at them both playing innocently that ain’t boding well for Lexi at all as Roberto moves to her and drops an elbow to the back before moving her up to her feet BUT SHE STRIKES B ACK WITH AN ENZUIGIRI!!! Roberto drops to his knees as she goes to the ropes AND TAKES HIM DOWN WITH SLING BLADE!!! Lexi moving De la Rosa up to his feet BUT HE THROWS A THUMB TO THE EYES!!!
Deadprez: De la Rosa is now on the offensive as he moves around Lexi and throws a few jabs her way which seems to have her reeling a wee bit. HE THEN CLOCKS HER WITH A MEAN RIGHT HOOK FOLLOWED BY A KNEE TO THE GUT! He Moves to position himself with a side suplex which he executes perfectly and then resumes going to his feet with a kip up before boasting a wee bit to the crowd.
Gavin Kirkland: The fans are letting him know how they feel about his prancing around when he should focus on doing his job which is to fight. He throws his arms away as a sign that he doesn’t care for the fans and goes to Lexi WHO PUNCHES HIM IN THE GUT! Stunning RDL! She whips him into the ropes NO it’s reversed by Roberto WHO GOES FOR A BIG BOOT THAT TAKES LEXI DOWN!
Eve: She is holding her jaw from the hit as Lexi tries to get back to her feet through the pain and Roberto moves quickly behind the Detroit native, throwing in an ax handle to the back of her back brings Lexi to her knees BUT SHE THEN GETS LIFTED AND OVER DE LA ROSA’S HEAD WITH GERMAN SUPLEX! LEXI LANDS ALMOST ON HER HEAD WITH THE FORCE EL PADASTRO USED IN THE MOVE!
Deadprez: The man is looking to make a statement tonight following Reasonable Doubt for sure and this can spell trouble for Lexi if she doesn’t turn the table quickly. Roberto is getting cheered on by his Family who is standing by outside of the ring. Lexi goes to her knees, moving to a vertical position before getting an elbow to the face FOLLOWED BY A CLOTHESLINE FROM HELL BY ROBERTO!!
Gavin Kirkland: He quickly gets to his feet, rushes to the ropes, jumps on the second one AND SPRINGBOARD OVER TO LEXI WITH A MOONSAULT!! HE HOOKS THE LEGS!!

Gavin Kirkland: Lexi Kicks Out With Both Legs!!
Eve: The crowd appreciates Lexi’s effort to keep this match going, but La Familia to the outside boos, and Roberto looks a bit disappointed but he moves up. Going to grab a handful of his opponent’s hair he goes for a lariat FOLLOWED WITH THE LASSO FROM EL PASSO! Down goes Lexi before Roberto mounts her on a knee and throws down some MMA-esque punches on her head and face!
Deadprez: The official after a few strikes orders him to get off of her, Roberto ignores the man but finally gets away just before he could be counted out by the referee. He moves to his feet, helping if I can say it like that Lexi to her feet before whipping her to the ropes. DROPKICK BY DE LA ROSA! Lexi tries to get up by her own power, a pained expression on her face as she suddenly ends up on the ground through a judo throw from her rival!
Gavin Kirkland: Lexi will need to haul ass if she wants a shot at victory, right now she’s on her feet but just got an unhealthy serving of big elbows after she got sent to a corner. Body blows and jabs follow as well as an uppercut AND THEN A BACK ELBOW! ROBERTO FOLLOWS WITH A SAITO SUPLEX THAT SENDS LEXI TO THE CENTER OF THE RING.
Eve: Lexi is forced to her feet by Roberto who’s on a mean streak at the moment. She is brought to the mat with a double-leg takedown and then a standing moonsault from De la Rosa! He goes for a cover but Lexi shoves him away! She tries to to go her feet, she gets a knee to the face before being picked up AND DRILLED INTO A BACKBREAKER!
Deadprez: Lexi crumbles to the floor holding her back while she’s red in the face from the knee as Roberto looks down on her with scorn. He doesn’t seem to be impressed by his opponent tonight as he looks at the fans with a look making him wonder why they cheer her on.
Gavin Kirkland: I don’t understand them either but they are fans, not much to expect from them as Roberto seeks to continue the attack on his opponent who’s been having the upper hand for a moment now. Into a corner goes Lexi and Roberto then proceeds to stomp a mudhole in her and walk it dry! The fans boo louder but he doesn’t care at all.
Eve: He pushes a boot against her throat for a few seconds before forcing her on her feet and Irish whip her to the other corner CLOTHESLINE HER FROM BEHIND! AND THEN HE BEGINS TO BASH HER HEAD AGAINST THE TURNBUCKLE! The crowd boos as he then picks her so she bends backward AND THEN MOVES FOR A SPRINGBOARD REVERSE DDT!!!! COVER BY DE LA ROSA!!

Eve: Lexi Survives With Kicking Out At Two!!!
Deadprez: Roberto looks at Lexi who just kicked out looking a wee bit in disbelief, he glares at the official who confirms the two count before sighing and getting to his feet. De La Rosa moves Lexi to her feet as well, throwing some punches to her face.
Gavin Kirkland: She is staggering as he is going to the ropes and quickly drops the mat following a sitted fake-out meteora FOLLOWED BY A SLAP! Lexi backpedals into the ropes before Roberto goes to her with Cuerno De Chivo! Big elbows to the head several of them BEFORE DROP KICKING LEXI OUTSIDE OF THE RING!
Eve: Lexi lands hard on the outside floor under the cheers of La Familia but the boos of the capacity crowd as Roberto then slides outside of the ring AND RAMS LEXI AGAINST THE APRON! He follows it with a double-ax handle before hoisting her up AND BACKDROP HER ON THE APRON!!
Deadprez: The official is barking at him to get back inside the ring while Lexi looks to be in a world of pain right now. The apron is the hardest part of the ring after all!
Gavin land: Roberto is looking to continue the beating he is putting upon Lexi as he moves her to a vertical position once he rolled her inside the ring. Lexi gets whipped into the ropes, and he tries for a clothesline BUT Lexi ducks under the arm quickly turn AND CLOCKS DE LA ROSA WITH BACKSPIN KICK! Roberto quickly goes low and rolls under the ring and the crowd doesn’t like this at all.
Eve: Roberto quickly picks up danger wanting to move out of the dodge BUT LEXI LEAPS OVER THE TOP ROPES AND LANDS ON HIM WITH A SUICIDE DIVE!!!! SHE QUICKLY THROWS IN FISTS OF FURY AS IF TRYING TO GET OUT THE FRUSTRATION FROM HAVING BEEN WHIPPED AROUND BY ROBERTO FOR A WHILE!
Deadprez: She grabs Roberto by the beard, shoving him against the guard rail AND THEN SHE BEGINS TO STOMP A MUDHOLE OF HER OWN AGAINST ROBERTO AND THE BARRICADE! SHE’S WALKING IT DRY AND THE CROWD LOVES IT!!!
Gavin Kirkland: La Familia is trying to discourage Lexi from continuing to beat down on Roberto and the official is in the way of them threatening to get them banned from ringside if they are pulling anything funny! Lexi meanwhile picks her opponent up going for an Irish whip against a corner post AND ROBERTO KISSES STEAL BEFORE FALLING TO HIS KNEES NEAR THE TIMEKEEPERS TABLE!
Eve: Lexi is pondering her options at the moment before she hops on the apron near Roberto, she starts running AND LANDS AGAINST HIM WITH A RUNNING KNEE FROM THE APRON! HOLY COW!! SHE’S THROWING FISTS AND ELBOWS TO ROBERTO NOW AS THE OFFICIAL IS STARTING TO COUNT THEM BOTH But then she decides to throw De La Rosa against the apron, SMACKING HIS HEAD against it before rolling him inside the ring! Lexi’s not messing around now and the crowd loves it!
Deadprez: Lexi goes for a quick and snappy suplex flipping Roberto and then rolls to land atop him before she throws a series of harsh-looking elbows! She looks angry for some reason as then the official orders her to create separation between her and De la Rosa. She does, Roberto moves to his knees AND SHE TAKES HIM DOWN WITH A HURRICARANAAAAAAAA!!!!!
Gavin Kirkland: Lexi’s mean side is erupting at the moment but I think somehow it’s justified seeing as Roberto had his way with her for the early part of the match. She appears to be in control of the match, question is will she maintain and actually win or will she crumble and allow Roberto a chance to leave with the Dubya?
Eve: Great questions and we are witnessing it right now as Lexi has Roberto up to his feet she moves behind him going into a suplex motion BUT NAILS HIM WITH THE ATOMIC DROP! De La Rosa is holding his groin in pain BEFORE GETTING STRUCK DOWN WITH A DROPKICK THAT HAS HIM HANDING BY THE ARMS ON THE SECOND ROPE!
Deadprez: Lexi quickly rushes to the opposite ropes rushing across the ring AND LANDS ATOP OF ROBERTO WITH BOTH KNEES AND BOUNCES USING THE TOP ROPE AS LEVERAGE!
Gavin Kirkland: The crowd enjoys this maybe a bit too much as Roberto ends up on his knees AND LEXI TAKES HIM DOWN WITH A NECKBREAKER!! He is on his back holding his throat JUST AS LEXI LANDS A LEG DROP TO HIS THROAT!! Roberto flips to his stomach holding his throat AND LEXI GOES FOR THE CROSSFACE!!!!
Gavin Kirkland: LEXI HAS DE LA ROSA IN A CROSSFACE IN THE CENTER OF THE RING AND WITH A SORE SPOT TO HIS THROAT!! SHE’S PULLING BACK WITH EVERYTHING SHE’S GOT AS DE LA ROSA TRIES TO CRAWL HIS WAY TO THE ROPES POWERING THROUGH ON HIS HANDS AND KNEES WITH LEXI BASICALLY ON HIS BACK!! HE HAS HIS LEAD ARM REACHING FOR THE ROPES BUT HIS HAND IS SHAKING FROM THE PAIN!!! HE PULLS FORWARD’ ALMOST HITTING THE MAT WITH THE PALM OF HIS HAND!! IS HE GOING TO GIVE UP??
Eve: NO! HE DOESN’T! FOR HE JUST GRABBED HOLD OF THE BOTTOM ROPE AND SAVED HIMSELF!
Deadprez: The crowd boos him they would rather see him quit than truck on but La Familia begs to differ and so does Roberto! Lexi sigh seeing her efforts were in vain but then she let go of her foe went to her feet AND THEN DRIVE A KNEE TO THE SPINE OF DE LA ROSA! Lexi watches on as Roberto is moving to his knees, holding his pack and she then goes to the ropes bouncing quickly and passing by him before then going by him once more having bounced off the other ropes.
Gavin Kirkland: De la Rosa tries to swing at her left and right, turning BUT GETS POUNCED ON WITH THE LOU THESZ PRESS!!!!! LEXI WITH LIGHTNING-FAST PALM STRIKES! She then goes to the ropes again and nails down an elbow drop before foul-mouthing Roberto under the cheers of the crowd!
Eve: Lexi keeps going as she picks up her opponent and goes for a scoop slam perfectly executed! Roberto is down and Lexi goes to the top of a corner. She looks down on De La Rosa who is getting up not knowing where she is! FLYING CROSSBODY LANDS RIGHT ATOP OF EL PADASTRO AND SHE TURNS IT INTO A PINFALL!!!

Deadprez: Lexi doesn’t let go of the offense as she forces El Padastro to his feet and whips him onto a corner. The knee to the midsection forces him to bend forward AND SHE SETS THINGS UP FOR A SUNSET FLIP POWERBOMB THAT LANDS!! SHE KEEPS THE SHOULDER DOWN!!

Gina Romano: The winner of this match: ROBERRRTOOOO DE LAAAAA ROSAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!
Deadprez: What a despicable way to win a match! Getting help from the Family when he could’ve done the job honorably with a clean win! Lexi didn’t deserve to lose this way!
Gavin Kirkland: The Family took advantage of the official-looking away to help El Padastro win! Like it or hate it they got him what their boss wanted which is a win so he won’t complain.
Eve: Lexi worked hard throughout the match, she had a few solid chances to win but outside elements cost her the win. She should be happy about the work she put in though, but it’s understandable if she ends up angry.
( The last shot we see of this match is La Familia and El Padastro making their way towards the back all smiles and proud while back inside the ring we see a disappointed and frustrated Lexi looking at them leave. )

Mikaela Street: Hello EAW Universe, this is Mikaela Street and I have all the scoops for you. Thanks to a sneak attack on Kassidy Heart last week which ultimately caused the referee to stop the match for her own good and Adam Lucas ended up leaving with a victory that clearly was not the way he wanted to win. The question has been all week, who did it? In case you missed it, here is what happened at Reasonable Doubt.

(Kyra picks up her speed, Adam Lucas is behind, the camera follows as they finally get to the dressing room, the door is open and there is someone lying on the floor motionless, lying in a small pool of blood, half-dressed looking like they were getting into their wrestling gear….)
Kyra Phillips: It looks like there is someone down! What is happening!?
(The scene is chaotic, there are officials and medical staff, trying to check on the person on the floor, Heidi Huxley is screaming from the top of her voice.)
Heidi Huxley: WHO DID THIS!? WAS IT YOU!!?!?!?
(The Disney Representative points at Adam Lucas who looks completely surprised and shocked.)
Heidi Huxley: DID YOU DO THIS!?

(Suddenly as the camera is able to look past the frantic crowd of people tending to the fallen Elitists, it is none other than Kassidy Heart! She is unconscious face down, looking like she was putting her wrestling boot on and a smashed brick all over her.)
Heidi Huxley: GET THE MEDICAL STAFF OUT HERE NOW!
(As more medical personnel show up, Adam is in complete and utter shock, looking down at his opponent later tonight, he starts to pace, screaming in anger that this happened, having no idea what is going on.)
Adam Lucas: WHO THE HELL DID THIS!?!?
Heidi Huxley: I want every camera in this building’s footage! WE will find who did this and I swear if you were involved…. Adam….
(But Adam quickly shuts that down….)
Adam Lucas: WHY WOULD I DO THIS!? I HAVE SOMETHING TO PROVE TONIGHT! WE HAVE A MATCH! IN THE RING! DOING THIS PROVES NOTHING, HEIDI! IF YOU WANT TO BLAME ANYONE!? BLAME YOURSELF FOR THE GARBAGE SECURITY!
(As they argue there is a stretcher that has shown up with EMT. They roll Kassidy over who has not moved a muscle. They slowly brace her neck while tending to the huge cut on the side of her head that has stained her hair with blood.)
Heidi Huxley: You better pray that you had nothing to do with this because when Kennedy and I find out who did, there will be hell to pay! Now get out of here!
Adam Lucas: What about Kassidy!?
Heidi Huxley: NOW!
(The officials try to escort Adam away who is visibly upset and emotionally jarred, looking as they place Kassidy on the gurney, lifting her on to the stretcher and strapping the former King of Elite down. They run out rushing her to the back area where there is an ambulance standing by. Everyone is simply in shock while they disappear into the back of the arena. Kyra Phillips turns to the camera…)
Kyra Phillips: It looks like Kassidy Heart was attacked by an unknown assailant that has put this match with Adam Lucas in jeopardy. I will follow up with more details, until then…. Back to ringside!
(The feed ends and transitions back to Mikaela Street who is in front of Kennedy Street’s office, Heidi Huxley now is walking out and standing with Mikaela.)
Mikaela Street: As we all saw, Kassidy Heart was brutally attacked with the intent to hurt and probably even cost her the match. Do we have any updates on both Kassidy Heart’s condition and the investigation into who did this, I am here with Disney representative and executive, Heidi Huxley.
Heidi Huxley: Hey Mikaela, yes it has been a very trying week for all of us here, as we all know Showdown holds Kassidy at the highest regards as one of its top stars and in all the EAW, she is very important to this brand and our plans moving forward so when an Elitist goes down to injury, it sends a ripple effect throughout the entire locker room. As you know, we have started an investigation, the independent firm will start next week conducting interviews with the entire roster to see if they can find any clues. Right now I can say that we have nothing. The cameras in Denver were all properly working but there was a period of about 3 minutes of footage that is missing.
Mikaela Street: Missing? How?
Heidi Huxley: That is the problem, we don’t know and those within Denver at the Ball Arena do not know either. That is why we are working extremely hard to get to the bottom of this and will expense every resource we have to get it. No stone will be unturned and the General Manager is committed to make sure that we find the person or persons that did this and make sure they pay for this and ruining what could have been the match of the night.
Mikaela Street: What about the condition of Kassidy Heart?
Heidi Huxley: Well, she is not here tonight but we know that Kassidy Heart does what Kassidy wants and there were rumors that she is in Chicago tonight and we know what is going on there, but she is NOT cleared to compete suffering from a concussion and a few internal injuries that need to heal first before we risk anything with one of our biggest stars. She will be here on Showdown though next week to address what happened, but just so you and the rest of the EAW Universe knows as well, we will not rest until the perpetrator is brought to justice.

The loss isn’t backing down Hans for sure, and he’s going to prove that the loss he took is the lesson that will make him the man who’s going to take Harley down tonight!
Deadprez: Hans has been shining under his spotlight for a little while now, and he has been fighting against many big names such as Impact, Jack Ripley, and even our 2023 King of Elite winner, Adam Lucas! Hans has been doing an amazing job, and he looks to pull out another great performance here and perhaps a victory against Harley Lewis.
( Hans enters the ring and taunts the crowd to earn some energy and reaction. He nods his head at the positive reaction he receives before backing himself into the corner and taking off his entrance gear. ‘Superhero (Heroes and Villains)’ by Metro Boomin (Feat. Future & Chris Brown) replaces his theme song, eliciting a negative reaction from the crowd as Harley emerges from behind the curtain up to the stage with a wicked smirk on his face, looking very confident to take a win over Hans Grayson here tonight. Harley continues to make his way down from the stage and enters the ring, with Hans keeping his eyes locked on him. )

Gavin Kirkland: There’s nothing much different for Hans, as Harley also suffered a loss from his match against Holly Arrow (MOMMY!!!!!!!!!!!), Alex Myers, Jon Kelton, and Donovan Duke for a shot at the Answers World Championship at Grand Rampage against Jake Smith. Tonight, Harley looks to remind everybody who he is and show what people might have forgotten about him.
Eve: Harley has been highly motivated since the loss he took at Reasonable Doubt earlier this year, and he looks to keep moving forward and show the world who he truly is!

Gavin Kirkland: Harley Lewis and Hans Grayson officially start and that filthy rat wastes no time charging Hans at his corner with a Muay Thai Kick going upon his jaw right off the bat! Harley drags him out of the corner while he’s at him and takes Hans down in combination with an Exploder Suplex!
Eve: Hans is being taken down right at the beginning of the match and this is not looking good for him already, but Harley is very happy with what’s going on right there. Harley pulls himself back to his feet by picking up Hans and throwing him into the corner, following up and connecting him with a Jumping Spinning Kick at the corner!
Deadprez: Hans is being taken over by Harley so far and Harley jumps again, kicking Hans’ teeth in with a Step-Up Enzuigiri while Hans is still down at the corner!
Gavin Kirkland: Harley has been on fire so far since the start of this match and he looks to keep that going. Harley gets back to his feet and starts putting Hans on the top corner with both feet on the second rope, as Harley sets Hans in a seated position. Hans can’t do anything but stay dazed and disoriented. Harley follows him up with both feet on the second rope and looks for an avalanche move to make Hans crash and burn there!
Eve: Hans shows some sense of danger and in-ring awareness as he starts punching Harley’s gut to break free from the hold. Harley tries to resist but Hans keeps fighting, pushing him off the second rope but Harley lands on both feet- A DIVING CROSSBODY TAKING DOWN HARLEY!
Deadprez: Now it’s Hans’ turn, you dweeb! Hans gets his upper hand back and charges Harley with a flurry of right hands right across his face on repeat! Hans is now becoming relentless and Harley is absolutely defenseless!
Gavin Kirkland: Harley rolls away from Hans and down underneath the bottom rope, and the crowd doesn’t seem to like what he’s doing there. Hans starts coming back to his feet and goes through the ropes down to the apron while Harley is still trying to regain some footing there…. A STANDING MOONSAULT OFF THE APRON BY HANS GRAYSON DOWN TO THE OUTSIDE TAKING OUT HARLEY LEWIS!
Eve: Hans is on fire like the Fire Heart he is, and surely, this is what we always love to see from him! His spirit, energy, and motivation that he always brings to the ring when it comes to professional wrestling! Hans grabs Harley and sends him rolling underneath the bottom rope and back inside the squared circle. Hans follows up by sliding into the ring before slowly coming back to his feet….
Deadprez: Harley is really in a bad predicament right there, and it’s like he’s trying to fight back no matter how tough Hans could ever be. Hans picks up the pieces before heading down towards Harley while he’s still rising back to his feet. Hans sets Harley to stand tall before delivering a hard knife-edge chop!
Gavin Kirkland: Harley would be hurt from there and Hans looks to give him another one, but Harley quickly stops Hans right away with a Spinning Heel Kick, rocking Hans’ jaw like hitting the crash cymbal on a drum kit!
Eve: Hans quickly comes back with a reply as he backflips while turning his back to Harley and sends him back to the ropes with a Pele Kick! Hans turns back around and is met with a rebound Spinning Backfist right across his face once again!
Deadprez: Hans doesn’t back away this time and quickly rises back to his feet before greeting Harley with an elbow smash going right across his jaw. Harley doesn’t seem too pleased and delivers a stiff, disrespectful slap across Hans’ face returning in favor!
Gavin Kirkland: Here we go! A slap from Hans! A slap from Harley! The slap fest has officially begun as both men exchange slaps and chaos ensues! They are both relentlessly hitting each other with no sign of stopping! Hans starts hitting harder than ever before using both hands to deliver a double-handed slap to Harley’s face!… He looks to finish it off with one last hard slap!
Eve: HARLEY STOPS THE MOVEMENT WITH A QUICK COUNTER, HITTING HANS BEFORE HE CAN DELIVER THE FINAL BLOW! Hans falls to both knees from the powerful slap delivered by Harley. Harley approaches him and he begins to repeatedly slap the back of Hans’ head, causing visible damage! Jeez, he force of the slaps looks like they could potentially cause brain damage!
Deadprez: This man sometimes shows anger issues and it’s not surprising. :lupe: Harley stops playing around with Hans with those slaps to the back of his head, then grabs Hans by the chin and helps him to his feet…. A quick spin and Harley delivers a Spinning Back Elbow!
Gavin Kirkland: Hans shows his quickness and agility, using his feet and knees to take down Harley to both knees! With a kick to his arm and a stomp to both feet, Hans runs in and lands a massive knee to Harley’s midsection, causing him to lose balance and fall to the ground completely, taken the wind out of Harley’s sails!
Eve: Hans is still able to handle his opponent, and now Harley is down on the ground, which gives Hans a lot of opportunities to make his move. Hans stands up on both feet and looks up to the top corner, and the crowd can feel what’s coming next. Hans nods to the crowd and heads to the top corner, going all the way up there!
Deadprez: Harley starts coming back to his feet and tries to recover from those two moves he had just been through. He reaches both feet and attempts to get back up as soon as possible…. HANS WITH ANOTHER DIVING CROSSBODY!
Gavin Kirkland: HARLEY MANAGES TO CATCH HANS RIGHT IN HIS GUT MID-AIR WITH A JUMPING DROPKICK! An impressive move by Harley takes out Hans just in time, avoiding being taken down by a crossbody!
Eve: Hans takes a huge shot of the mid-air dropkick from Harley, and this gives Harley a bigger chance to make his move in this game. Harley rises to both feet as soon as possible while Hans is still very hurt from the dropkick. He starts coughing, and Hans reaches both feet as he turns back around to Harley…. HARLEY LOOKS FOR ‘CAR CRASH’ BY STARTING OFF WITH ANOTHER DROPKICK TO SEND HANS BACK INTO THE CORNE-
Deadprez: Hans ducks under and sends Harley flying into the air as Harley’s face crashes into the top turnbuckle! Harley stuns off the corner and ends up stumbling as Hans turns back around and catches him from behind…. A POISONRANA TAKING HANS OUT IN THE PROCESS!
Gavin Kirkland: THAT’S WHY YOU HAVE TO TRUST THE PROCESS LIKE OUR ANSWER WORLD CHAMPION DOES! Hans completely takes Harley out with a quick combo right there, and now with a hook to his leg for a cover!

Hans looks a bit disappointed that he fails to take down Harley too soon, but he’s not going to stop it there right off the bat because he has a lot more work to put to end his opponent. Hans starts getting Harley up to both knees before spreading his knees to the back and delivers a hard shot of the knee strike right into his gut!
Deadprez: Hans isn’t done there as he keeps going! The more knee strike keeps connecting his gut and making it much more worse for Harley to stay in his lane. The referee tries to stop Hans from there as Hans starts getting off Harley and pulls him off the mat back to both feet…. LIFTING HIM UP, AIMING TO TAKE HARLEY DOWN WITH A SPINNING MICHINOKU DRIVER II!
Gavin Kirkland: Harley notices that he’s in danger before slipping to behind Hans and lands both feet safely just in time. Since those knees hitting him hard, Harley doesn’t stand tall for long and results him to stumbling back down to both knees and holding down his gut.
Eve: Hans looks back and tries to push Harley back down to the ground with a boot, but Harley manages to catch the boot in time and pulls him in, causing Hans to trip and crash face first onto the mat. Harley takes advantage of the situation, pressing both knees into Hans’ back, grabbing his arm, and applying the Fujiwara Armbar.
Deadprez: Hans is in a tough spot now as Harley applies pressure on his arm with the Fujiwara Armbar! He grimaces in pain as he tries to figure out a way to escape the hold! The referee is keeping a close eye on the action to make sure that Hans doesn’t tap out!
Gavin Kirkland: Hans endures the submission hold without yielding, yet Harley intensifies the pressure, exacerbating Hans Grayson’s discomfort. Hans is unable to escape, as Harley relentlessly attempts to dislocate his arm. Each man is resolute in achieving their own distinct objective in this moment!
Eve: Hans frantically crawls towards the bottom rope, hoping to reach safety. Harley utilizes his bulk to gain the upper hand, pressing him down onto the mat and preventing him from escaping to a safer distance! Hans struggles in vain to break free from Harley’s grasp and move away from his opponent!

Deadprez: Harley leans back and the submission move becomes even more excruciating for Hans, who is already in a precarious position! Hans is currently facing a grave situation that seems to be worsening with each passing moment! Harley is utilizing all of his strength to inflict moves that are even more agonizing on Hans than before…. but Hans wants to stay!
Gavin Kirkland: Hans repeatedly reaches his right hand towards the bottom rope, but Harley continues to intensify the hold, causing even greater agony for Hans! Harley applies more and more pressure to the move, causing Hans to feel an overwhelming amount of pain! Hans continues to struggle against Harley’s relentless assault.
Eve: HANS TAP- NO WAIT, HE THROWS HIS HAND UPON THE BOTTOM ROPE INSTEAD!
Gavin Kirkland: Hans crumples to the ground as soon as Harley releases the hold. However, Harley shows no mercy and quickly rises to his feet, hauling Hans up with him. He clasps Hans’ head tightly under his arms, before racing forward and going for a Running Bulldog, slamming Hans’ face forcefully into the ground!
Deadprez: Hans is down, but Harley isn’t done with him yet because he knows that’s not enough to put somebody like Hans down. Harley quickly pops back to his feet and heads straight for the corner in front of him before barely climbing all his way up to the top, while Hans tries to recover from the bulldog.
Eve: Hans reaches the top of the corner and looks down at Hans, who is still trying to get up. Harley starts getting his balance and is just about to jump on Hans to take him back down to the ground again!
Gavin Kirkland: HANS USES HIS LAST OUNCE OF STRENGTH TO POP UP TO THE MIDDLE ROPE, GRABBING HARLEY QUICKLY AND SENDING HIM HURTLING DOWN FROM THE TOP ROPE WITH THE AVALANCHE VARIATION OF SPINNING MICHINOKU DRIVER II!

Deadprez: Harley is still down on the ground, and now Hans is coming back to his feet, leaving his opponent behind. The 2022 NEC finalist is in serious trouble right now, and Hans is still trying to work things out to put him down for good. Hans starts going behind the ropes this time, and I think we can tell what he’s going for!…..

Gavin Kirkland: Oh my god, Hans took Harley out with his own Superman Punch that has knocked out countless people in the past already, and I think this could be Hans’ moment right here! This could be it for Harley Lewis!
Deadprez: The crowd is absolutely excited to see this, but Hans doesn’t seem to be done with Harley yet! He quickly pulls Harley back to his feet after hitting him with a Superman Punch. Hans throws Harley down to the ropes once again, with him bouncing off the opposite side!…. SET AND DONE! ANOTHER ‘FIRE PUNCH’ TAKING HARLEY OUT, BABY!
Eve: Hans takes Harley out with two of his signatures, and I think he’s going to get a chance here! Harley is already looking very out, but he’s still trying to get back to his feet, showing that he’s not easily backing away from the fight! Eve: Hans not only delivered a great performance, but also emerged victorious over Harley Lewis. Harley displayed remarkable resilience and proved that he’s not one to be easily defeated! Both men put up a great match! We’re excited to see where this victory takes Hans and how Harley will respond to this defeat!

(Officials and security quickly run out and are able to subdue Harley as he tries to fight out of it to no avail, but he is quickly taken out of the ring while other officials check on Hans Grayson as the scene slowly fades into a commercial break. )
( A commercial break for the movie ‘Cocaine Bear’ featuring Xander Payne shows as Xander expresses his disapproval for the movie before walking out of the studio. Suddenly, Xander encounters the actual Cocaine Bear charges at him and attempts to attack but Xander nonchalantly lifts the bear into the air and hits the bear with ‘Last Sedation’ then walks out of the scene like nothing happened. Damn he hates the movie, huh? )
(We open in Kennedy’s office, Kennedy sat behind the desk whilst Veena is sat the other side, her National Elite Championship draped on the table. Kennedy pours herself a glass of water, offering Veena one who declines.)
Kennedy Street: That belt certainly looks good on you honey, and it was quite the title defense. Kennie was impressed with your efforts… more than I can say for some people that’s for sure.
Veena Adams: I’m glad that finally I have found someone who appreciates my talents. It’s been a long time since I have felt this appreciated. And I have deserved that kind of respect for so long.

Kennedy Street: We have just signed Amir Yusef, he has more than a little potential.
Veena Adams: Yes, he would be a good stop gap I guess until someone better came along.

Eve: Yeah, the tough luck continues for the EAW Hall of Famer and while it may have reached a point where some have probably given up when it comes to him, I personally think that he will eventually be able to get to his winning ways again, but tonight belongs to only one competitor ad 5hat is the reigning King of Elite.

(The final shot is seen as Adam Lucas is seen celebrating his well-deserved victory on the top turnbuckle, meanwhile it’s Chris Elite who’s being helped out of the ring, Adam though drops down and grabs a mic.)
(Adam holds his ribs, really beaten up and feeling the effects of the previous match. As the announcer steps into the ring to announce the victor, Adam snatches the mic away, struggling for breath.)

(The crowd hushes, Adam obviously struggling, and he lowers his head, trying to find the words to say.)
Deadprez: This isn’t easy for Adam; he should be celebrating the biggest victory of his career, but he can’t.
(Finally, Adam lifts the mic to his lips, speaking in between deep breaths.)
Adam Lucas: What happened at Reasonable Doubt sucks. It wasn’t supposed to go down like that. I was supposed to finally break through the ceiling of the Elite of the Elite and beat someone who’s name will be remembered forever. Kassidy Heart showed why she is regarded as a true warrior, and still gave the fight of her life. But ultimately, her injuries are what at least assisted the outcome. And that’s a difficult situation for me to take. Because I firmly believe that I would have beaten Kassidy Heart anyway. I believe that I had the necessary skillset to get it done. Now, I can’t come out here and say that I proved every single word I said. I can’t say that I beat one of the greatest Elitists to every walk these corridors. An Asterix will forever be placed next to this victory, and that bugs me, it really does.
(Adam pauses again, looking out over a crowd that starts to chant his name.)
Adam Lucas: And I get it, I should be happy that the record books will say that Adam Lucas defeated Kassidy Heart. I should be happy that when the bell rang, it was myself who had my hand held aloft. But I can’t… I couldn’t even celebrate with Beth, knowing that someone did this to Kassidy and spoiled what could have been my greatest moment. I need to let it go, I know I do, but how can I? Whilst the person that did this is out there laughing in my face.
(Adam motions for a camera to come closer, so that it only shows his face.
Adam Lucas: Like I said, when this match was made, this isn’t how I wanted everything to go down. I watched Reasonable Doubt back, and all I could do was shake my head. Kassidy and I will never be best friends. I doubt we’ll ever agree on anything to do with this company or each other. But I will say this, with as much clarity as I can muster. Kassidy, I hope you are alright and come back stronger than ever, and yeah, I hope we get to dance to again. But more than anything Kassidy, I hope the person that did this to you is found, and you get your justice. Because just like I didn’t deserve my victory to go down this way, you DO deserve to look your attacker in the face… right before handing them the beating of a lifetime. And anything I can do to assist in that investigation, Kassidy, EAW… all you gotta do is ask.

Jake Smith: Very interesting action from these two. Neither one has been able to take the other down for longer than a couple of seconds. Not bad. Not bad at all.
Deadprez: Alex comes in, but Amir jumps up and looks to counter with a monkey flip AND ALEX NOW LANDS ON THEIR FEET! Amir comes in and whips Alex to the turnbuckles. Amir comes into the corner for a clothesline, BUT ALEX AVOIDS IT AND AMIR JUMPS ONTO THE SECOND ROPE!
Eve: Alex turns around as Amir leaves the turnbuckles AND CATCHES ALEX AND TAKES THEM DOWN WITH A HURRICANRANA! Alex is sent to the ropes and they get back to their feet.
Deadprez: Amir comes in looking for a dropkick, BUT ALEX GETS OUT OF THE WAY AND AMIR DROPKICKS HIMSELF THROUGH THE ROPES, OUTSIDE THE RING, AND TO THE FLOOR IN FRONT OF US! Amir can’t believe that happened.
Gavin Kirkland: Alex sees Amir on the outside and they run full speed to the ropes and they look to fly. SUICIDE DIVE ON THE WAY–
Eve: WAIT! AMIR WAS BRACING FOR IMPACT BUT ALEX STAYS ON THE APRON AND FAKES AMIR OUT! Amir didn’t like that one bit and HE TRIES TO SWEEP AT ALEX’S FEET, BUT THEY BACKFLIP BACK INTO THE RING AND AVOID THE SHOT!
Jake Smith: Bahahahaha! Ok. That was pretty good. Gotta be ready for everything, Amir. You should know that.
Gavin Kirkland: Look at Amir. He does not like that one bit. He slaps the ring apron in frustration that he can’t get the upper hand on Alex Myers. Now is not the time to throw a temper tantrum, Amir.
Eve: But that isn’t going to stop Alex from having a small laugh at Amir’s expense and that just fires up Amir even more. Amir looks ready to blow a gasket and he is pounding the crap out of the ring apron.
Amir Yusuf: (off-mic) Shut up, Alex. SHUT UP!! IT’S NOT FUNNY!!!
Deadprez: Alex just gives a shrug AND DELIVERS A BASEBALL SLIDE DROPKICK THAT CATCHES AMIR IN THE FACE AS SENDS HIM BACK! Now Alex hits the ropes one more time and runs at full speed–
Gavin Kirkland: THIS TIME THEY SAIL OVER THE ROPES AND TAKE AMIR DOWN WITH A TOPE CON HILO!! The fans are going absolutely crazy with cheers for the fan favorite Myers. They absolutely love this competitor.
Jake Smith: I can admit that Alex Myers is without a doubt a fan favorite on Showdown and probably all of EAW. No disrespect intended, but it’s going to take more than the adulation of the crowd to take this title from me.
(The camera cuts over to the front row where Willow is cheering Alex.)
Deadprez: There’s that woman that Alex was talking to earlier in the show and she is once again cheering for Alex Myers. Alex is in firm control of this match and they lock Amir in a facelock AND THEY PLANT AMIR ON THE FLOOR WITH THAT SNAP SUPLEX!
Eve: Amir’s back is taking a pounding at the moment and they bring Amir back to their feet. Amir gets rolled back into the ring and Alex gets on the apron. They eye the turnbuckle and look to climb to fly again–
Deadprez: BUT AMIR GETS BACK TO HIS FEET AND GRABS ALEX’S HEAD AND DROPS THEM THROAT FIRST ON THE TOP ROPE! Alex is holding their throat as Amir gets on the apron AND SHOVES ALEX FORWARD!
Gavin Kirkland: ALEX JUST FLIES AND THEY GO CHEST FIRST INTO THE RING POST! THAT WAS NOT PRETTY! ALEX LOSES THEIR BALANCE AND FALLS OFF THE APRON AND THEY GO FACE FIRST ONTO THE RING STEPS!
Jake Smith: Expect the unexpected. That is one of the big rules of this business. They need to have eyes in the back of their head if they want to have a better chance of beating me.
Eve: I get what you mean, but Alex has been doing an amazing job thus far in this match. As has Amir and it’s Amir right now with control of this match. Amir jumps off the apron and picks Alex back up.
Gavin Kirkland: Amir has a handful of hair AND HE JUST SMASHES ALEX’S FACE AGAINST THE RING STEPS ONCE AGAIN! AND AGAIN! AND AGAIN! AND AGAIN! AMIR IS LOOKING TO REARRANGE ALEX’S FACE!
Referee: (off-mic) Amir! Stop using the ring steps! STOP IT NOW! ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR! FIV–
Eve: Amir stops on four because I highly doubt he wants to lose his return to Showdown by disqualification. He still has a handful of Alex’s hair as he rolls Alex back into the ring as Amir quickly follows suit.
Jake Smith: Amir with this new level of intensity tonight. It’s like he is trying to further his place within the good graces of Kennedy Street. Maybe he wants his own shot at my title. You know what you need to do to get in line, Amir.
Deadprez: Speaking of Kennedy Street and good graces, Pandora Paisley is watching this match with a huge smile on her face, especially since she watched Alex Myers just get their brains knocked loopy after hitting the rings steps repeatedly.
Gavin Kirkland: Amir enjoyed that as well because he rolls Alex onto their back and mounts them BEFORE THROWING THEIR FISTS INTO ALEX’S SKULL! STRAIGHT RIGHT HANDS INTO THE SIDE OF THE HEAD!
Deadprez: The referee once again admonishes Amir to open up the fist and he once again listens to the referee on four. He gets off of Alex AND KICKS THEM RIGHT IN THE RIBS! THAT WAS ALMOST A SOCCER PUNT!
Eve: You could just hear the moan of pain coming from Alex. That was a good shot from Amir. But Amir doesn’t care about the pain Alex is in because he picks Alex back up and SLAMS THEM BACK DOWN IN THE CENTER OF THE RING! Amir gets in position with Alex behind them. AMIR WITH THE STANDING MOONSAULT–
Deadprez: ALEX ROLLS OUT OF THE WAY AND AMIR LANDS ON HIS FEET! HE MUST HAVE SAW THAT COMING! Amir now tries for an elbow drop, BUT ALEX MOVES AGAIN AND AMIR’S ELBOW MEETS THE CANVAS!
Jake Smith: This has been a pretty even sided match. Neither competitor is able to hold the advantage over the other for very long. It’s impressive to watch these two go at it. As World Champion, I recognize that Alex is my next challenger, but Amir might be right after them.
Gavin Kirkland: Alex is back to their feet and hits the ropes while Amir was trying to get up AND ALEX MYERS WITH A SHINING WIZARD AND THAT CATCHES AMIR RIGHT BEHIND THE EAR AND AMIR GOES DOWN ONCE AGAIN!
Eve: Alex grabs hold of Amir and brings him back to his feet. Alex whips Amir to the corner and ALEX WITH A FLYING FOREARM SMASH THAT CATCHES HIM RIGHT IN THE FACE! Alex backs up and runs full speed for another move–
Gavin Kirkland: BUT AMIR GETS THE BOOT UP AND CATCHES ALEX IN THE FACE AND THEY GO DOWN! Now Amir takes a chance to climb up to the top turnbuckle while Alex is down.
Jake Smith: Leave it to these two to keep going into the flying aspect of their arsenal. These two love to do all the risky moves, but those moves come with huge risks, especially if they miss. One bad move and they could have just cost themself the match.
Eve: Amir has found his footing on the top rope and he looks ready to take down Alex, BUT ALEX IS BACK UP TO THEIR FEET AND THEY RUN BACK INTO THE ROPES! THAT CAUSES AMIR TO LOSE HIS BALANCE AND LAND ON THE TOP TURNBUCKLE!
Deadprez:That might disappoint Pandora the way he landed, but that’s not the point. Right now, Amir falls forward and Alex grabs his head. Alex pulls Amir out enough to grab both of his legs. What in the world is Alex trying to do?
Gavin Kirkland: ALEX HAS AMIR ON THEIR SHOULDERS! HOLY CRAP! WHAT POWER BY ALEX MYERS! THE POWER GAME ISN’T ALEX MYERS’ FORTE, BUT ALEX WALKS AMIR TO THE CENTER OF THE RING AND PLANTS HIM WITH A MUSCLE BUSTER!
Jake Smith: That’s something new from Alex. I don’t think I’ve ever seen them use a move like that before. That certainly has my attention.
Deadprez: Alex kind of skews over to the smaller size side of the spectrum, but since Amir is roughly the same size, Alex is deciding to bust out some power moves and pull out all the stops.
Eve: Amir landed hard on the back of his head and neck on impact and Amir hasn’t moved since landing. Alex crawls over to Amir and hooks the leg for the cover. Will it be enough?

Jake Smith: Seriously? THAT was only the first pin attempt in this match? You could have fooled me. Time flies when you’re having fun. I give these two a lot of credit. They can certainly keep the action flowing with the arsenal of moves that they have.

Jake Smith: It’s obvious that Amir is still feeling the effects of that muscle buster and now they are both down for the moment. I wonder who will make it back to their feet first. Whoever accomplishes that feat will get the best chance to turn this match in their favor.

Jake Smith: From what I’ve seen Alex is right at home on the turnbuckle and can pull out a high flying move at any time to end the match. That’s something I will watch out for when we have our match.

Deadprez: WHAT THE HECK? THAT’S PANDORA PAISLEY! PANDORA PAISLEY JUST SHOVED ALEX MYERS RIGHT OFF THE TOP TURNBUCKLE AND SENDS THEM CRASHING TO THE RING AND THE REFEREE CAUGHT ALL OF THAT! THE REFEREE IS CALLING FOR THE BELL AFTER THAT OUTSIDE INTERFERENCE!
(DING! DING! DING!)
(The referee calls for the bell as Amir and Pandora are delivering boots to the down Alex. The referee is trying to get them to back up as Gina Romano announces the decision.)
Gina Romano: Ladies and gentlemen! The winner of this match as a result of a DISQUALIFICATION… ALEX MYERS!
(The crowd is booing the decision and the competitors in the ring who are beating down Alex Myers.)
Deadprez: What a shock that this happened. This was an amazing match and the moment things were looking disastrous for Amir, Pandora stuck her nose where it didn’t belong and caused the disqualification.
Eve: This is just sickening to watch. A two on one assault on Alex Myers. The referee is doing whatever they can to try to break them up but it’s to no avail.
(The crowd immediately starts cheering as Ms. Extreme runs full speed down the entrance ramp and to the ring.)
Gavin Kirkland: HERE COMES MS. EXTREME DOWN TO THE RING! SHE WAS NOT SUPPOSED TO BE HERE! SHE IS TIRED OF THE CRAP THAT PANDORA IS PULLING! SHE’S PUTTING A STOP TO IT NOW!
Eve: Not only that, she wants payback for what Pandora did after her match at Reasonable Doubt. Now she is in the ring–
Deadprez: CAMILLE WITH A SPEAR ON PANDORA PAISLEY! PANDORA ALMOST TURNED INSIDE OUT AND SHE IS SCRAMBLING TO GET OUT OF THE RING, BUT CAMILLE IS RIGHT BEHIND HER!
Gavin Kirkland: PANDORA RAKES THE EYES AND TRIES TO GET FREE, BUT CAMILLE IS ANGRY AND THEY ARE BRAWLING! PANDORA HAS HER BACK TO THE BARRICADE! CAMILLE WITH A CLOTHESLINE TO PANDORA!
(Both Camille and Pandora sail over the barricade and are still brawling into the crowd leaving Amir on his own to continue attacking Alex.)
Deadprez: Camille has stormed down to the ring and has completely taken Pandora out of this equation as the ladies are brawling through the crowd and away from ringside.
Eve: That leaves Amir and Alex in the ring together and Amir is doing a number on Alex.
Jake Smith: Yeah, I’ve had just about enough with this crap. It’s time to stop this.
(Jake throws his headset down and immediately storms into the ring. When Jake enters the ring, he goes right after Amir.)
Gavin Kirkland: THE ANSWERS WORLD CHAMPION IS IN THE RING AND HE IMMEDIATELY GOES FOR AMIR YUSUF! AMIR MIGHT HAVE JUST DID THE SMARTEST THING TODAY AND SLID OUT OF THE RING TO SAFETY.
(The crowd is booing Amir’s cowardice, but Amir doesn’t care because his damage was done and he has a big smile on his face with the trouble he caused.)
Deadprez: I hope Amir is proud of himself and the trouble he and his friend Pandora caused. He might have lost via disqualification, but he believes he won the battle because Alex Myers has been left down.
Eve: But look at Jake. Being a good person and helping Alex back to their feet. Alex is still feeling it, and now he raises Alex’s arm up in the victory they got tonight. Listen to this crowd.
Gavin Kirkland: The crowd is cheering loudly for Alex Myers and his future opponent Jake Smith. This is going to be a great match at Grand Rampage.
(Jake lets Alex go as they try to leave the room, but suddenly, Jake grabs Alex by the wrist and pulls Alex back in before grabbing their neck…)
Eve: OH MY GAWD! THE STARMAKER FROM JAKE SMITH! THE JUMPING CUTTER PLANTS ALEX MYERS AND THEIR FACE BOUNCES OFF THE CANVAS AND THEY ARE OUT! WHAT THE HECK IS THIS ABOUT? THAT WAS UNCALLED FOR!
Gavin Kirkland: The Answers World Champion is sending a message right now that nobody is going to be taking HIS Answers World Championship. No matter what.
(The camera shows Willow Achara hopping the barricade and sliding into the ring to make sure Alex is doing alright.)
Eve: There is that woman again. Willow Achara is her name I believe. She just slid into the ring and she is checking on Alex Myers. This is an interesting development.
(As Alex is being checked on by Willow, Jake walks over to the edge of the ring and picks up the Answers World Championship. He walks back over to Alex and holds the title in the air.)
Deadprez: It is, but is also an interesting development of the rivalry between Alex and Jake. It’s only going to get hotter from now until Grand Rampage. This is just the beginning for these two. I hate to say this, but we are out of time. But for now, I am Deadprez and for Eve and Gavin Kirkland, we will see next week for another edition of Saturday Night Showdown! Goodnight Everybody!!
