(RECAP–Last week, Showdown took place from the Sullivan Arena in Anchorage, Alaska. Before the show even began, the cameras caught Ms. Extreme attacking Kennedy Street. Heidi Huxley tried to stop the attack before Jack Ripley came out of nowhere and attacks Ms. Extreme leading to the two being separated and Kennedy throwing Ms. Extreme out of the arena.The first match of the evening had Drake Armstrong and Komatsu Ogawa fighting to a No Contest after both men were attacked by Major Scotty Connor. After the match, Scotty is interviewed by Kyra Phillips and he tells her that he is tired of the lack of discipline and honor that Showdown has and that he’s on a mission to clean up Showdown. The next match saw Roberto De La Rosa defeat Lucas Johnson in singles action. Next, we see Holly Arrow and Harper Lee, POTARA, backstage talking about their futures as a tag team and singles competitors before Heidi Huxley catches them and tells them she will make sure that they live up to that. We then see Harley Lewis defeating Lexi.)
(The recap continues as the new National Elite Champion Veena Adams comes to the ring and shames the crowd for doubting her before she declares that she will become a star . The next match has Jack Ripley defeating Hans Grayson after Jack used the ropes for leverage. Then we see Ryan Joseph Wilson and Xander Payne backstage talking about their eventual Tag Team Title match at Reasonable Doubt before Heidi Huxley comes in and says that Kennedy Street has noticed them and to be careful with the Champions and that they have a preparation match for next week. In a hard-hitting match, Alex Myers and Jon Kelton fought to a double countout after both competitors were brawling outside the ring. Impact then comes to the ring and calls out both Chris Elite and Jake Smith. They get to talking before heidi Huxley comes to tell Jake that he will be defending the Answers World Title in a triple threat match. Before Heidi says the stipulation, Jake looks at the stipulation to find out it is an Armageddon Hell in a Cell match, leaving Jake stunned. The main event of the evening had Kassidy Heart defeating Donovan Duke by submission. At the end of the show, Adam Lucas comes out for his King of Elite coronation before being interrupted by GM Kennedy Street who congratulates him before Adam tells Kennedy that he will be challenging for the Answers World Championship at Pain for Pride! Kennedy then claims that Adam’s not Showdown’s only King before Kassidy Heart comes out and leaves Adam lying and Kass standing over him as the recap ends…)
(“Brick Wall” by A Day to Remember starts to play which signifies another exciting edition of EAW’s Blue Brand: Saturday Night Showdown. The crowd is up on their feet and cheering as loud as they can in the Scotiabank Saddledome in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The sound is deafening with all the cheers as the camera pans around the arena showing all the excited fans who are holding up their colorful and creatively made signs as high as they can to get the camera to nice them. The fans are also wearing merchandise they wear in support of their favorite Elitists. After traveling around the arena, the camera stops at the commentary table where Deadprez, Eve, and Gavin Kirkland are sitting and looking more than ready to call all the Showdown action.)
Deadprez: We are two weeks away from the event known as REASONABLE DOUBT! Ladies and gentlemen, allow me to welcome everybody once again to another great edition of SATURDAY! NIGHT! SHOWDOWN! I’m Deadprez and alongside Eve and Gavin Kirkland, we are coming to you live from the Scotiabank Saddledome in Calgary, Alberta, Canada!
Eve: This is going to be a very entertaining night from the Elitists of the Blue Brand of EAW. So much is building up as we head to Reasonable Doubt in just a couple of weeks.
Gavin Kirkland: WE WRESTLE!! Oh I can’t wait until Reasonable Doubt, but we have to make it through tonight. Like tonight, we will be hearing from Kassidy Heart about why she attacked Adam Lucas last week at the end of last week’s show.
Deadprez: We will also be hearing from Jon Kelton about his thoughts on his match will Alex Myers and how it ended last week.
Eve: Not only that, we will be finding out who Veena Adams will be defending her National Elite Championship against at Reasonable Doubt.
Deadprez: I can’t wait to see who will be Veena’s first challenger, but it’s not only that. We are also going to see what other matches will come about for Reasonable Doubt and it’s already starting to be a very action filled night.
Gavin Kirkland: PREZZY!! IT’S TIME TO TALK ABOUT THE MATCHES! MY FAVORITE PART OF THE SHOW!
Eve: You love talking about the matches, don’t you, Gavin?
Gavin Kirkland: You know I love the matches. Like tonight we have the King of Elite in action. Adam Lucas will be taking on Hans Grayson in singles action. Will the young and upstart Grayson catch Adam on an off day or will the King of Elite take him to school? We also have former National Elite Champion Donovan Duke in action against Major Michael Scott Connor. Will Scotty find his first casualty in his mission in Duke or will Duke stop him right in his tracks? Those matches will be tonight.
Eve: Also tonight we have half of POTARA in action. It’s going to be Holly Arrow taking on Alex Myers in singles action. Harper Lee will be at ringside as well. Will the fused power of POTARA be too much for the Guardian Angel or will they show that two is not always stronger than one with a victory. We also have La Familia in the house. Roberto De La Rosa will have the chance to pick up one the biggest wins of his career as he take
Deadprez: That’s going to be an interesting match, but so is tonight’s main event. We have tag team action underway as Xander Payne and Ryan Joseph Wilson prepare for their Tag Team Championship match as they take on Chris Elite and the Answers World Champion Jake Smith. Can the former Haircare Kings coexist in this match in order to achieve victory or will the animosity these two have for each other be too much of an obstacle for them to overcome? That’s tonight, but for right now, let’s send it to the ring with the lovely Gina Romano.
(“Partition” by Beyonce plays throughout the arena as the crowd starts to boo. The Calgary faithful get put of their seats as Kassidy Heart slowly makes her way toward the ring.)
Gina Romano: EAW universe! Welcome at this time…. KASSIDY HEART!
(The crowd continues to boo while Kassidy slowly makes her way to the ring. She doesn’t give them a second glance and instead walks up the stairs into the ring, Gina hands her the mic as the music fades.)
Kassidy Heart: Canada is such a miserable place.
(The crowd boos even louder as she shows absolutely no emotion.)
Kassidy Heart: It seems like some people are a little hurt, they want to know why I attacked Adam Lucas last week, is it not that obvious? Besides, there is a history here that has been building up for a long time and since the beginning of last season. Why is there a constant need to bash a working relationship between the EAW and Disney. I’ll tell you why, insecurities. All of these Elitists that think they are so edgy or like to push the envelope do not even realize how stupid they look. Disney PAYS their bills. The EAW PAYS their bills, without them they would be working for $25 a match, sleeping in their care and hoarding every McDonald’s and Subway…. Or in Canadian’s cases, Tim Horton coupons they can just to survive.
(The boos get louder and louder.)
Kassidy Heart: Instead of whining and crying, maybe you should be grateful that this company still is willing to put the time and effort in promoting each and every single one of you when you don’t even deserve it. See, when I have to become an advocate for this business, something is really wrong. I have no issues with Disney or the EAW and why? It is good for business and that means it is good for Kassidy Heart. But am I the only one that is smart enough to see this? I’m not about authority, but what I am about knowing where you belong on the food chain. See, that is why a lot of you were wondering why I attacked Adam Lucas, correct? For this exact reason. It wasn’t bad enough that two years ago he scored the biggest win of his career against Mr. DEDEDE, but all he has been given is chance after chance where finally it paid off and now he is the King of Elite. But when you think about it all, he still spits in the face of the people that gave him the platform to have an opportunity to even sniff a World Championship because honestly? This company could have left him to rot in the swamps wrestling for those garbage promotions making enough money to buy a footlong for dinner.
(She pauses as the crowd continues to boos, cracking a smile, though she doesn’t waste any time talking.)
Kassidy Heart: So last week, I did attack Adam Lucas for a reason, because after all this time, even after defeating my husband, he has been nothing but ungrateful. The chance he had to make a name for himself in the EAW was because of…..
(But before she could finish, “You Know My Name” by Chris Cornell starts to play as the fans stand to their feet and cheer. Kassidy looks a bit annoyed as he slowly walks out and keeps his eyes on Kassidy the whole time. He takes a mic from the announcers table.
Deadprez: Adam Lucas is out here, and he looks serious, obviously having something to say!
Eve: It is not very often that you see this facial expression but after what happened last week, you cannot blame him.
Gavin Kirkland: And look at King Kass, she doesn’t look too pleased that he has interrupted her, but listen to this crowd cheer!
(Adam slides into the ring and walks right up to Kassidy as his theme fades.)
Adam Lucas: This doesn’t surprise me, because you have held a grudge against me since Pain For Pride 14 when I defeated your hubby, but you know what? The door swings both ways. See Kassidy, you don’t think about anything other than yourself in situations like this, it is always about you and you and you. We wrestled at the beginning of last season, and you beat me. We wrestled again in the Extreme Elimination Chamber, and you won. That wasn’t good enough though because there is one thing that bothers me most and it was something that you did to someone I love very much. Now grant it, this happened before we were dating, but with this idiot there sitting next to Eve and Prez, wear it like a badge of honor. Here’s the problem Kassidy, you’re a miserable [BLEEP].
(The crowd explodes in cheers. )
Adam Lucas: Kassidy, last week was my moment, the chance to stand in front of the Showdown faithful and be the King, but you ruined it and not you’re coming out here talking about how ungrateful I am? The complete opposite. I admire and have always respected your husband for what he has done with the EAW. In the ring he is one of if not the best to ever lace up the boots, that much is for certain. I don’t know where this all came from but if anything, what I have been through, all of this diversity, people like my wife, those that even though they have taken their bumps, continue to wrestle and get to the promised land, those are the ones that have continued to build this company, not the Elitists who were pushed to the moon then spit all over the face of the EAW and left everyone shrugging their shoulders wondering what happened and looking into your eyes, I know that you agree with me there, but if this is about positioning? Making sure that you stay the alpha predator, then I don’t see why we test the waters one more time at Reasonable Doubt!
(As Adam Lucas makes the challenge, the crowd erupts once again. Kassidy has an emotionless look on her face before she finally speaks.)
Kassidy Heart: Sure.
(Kassidy Heart turns to leave but stops and looks directly at Gavin Kirkland.)
Kassidy Heart: Bring the cum sock.
(She flips the mic as the crowd goes “Oooohhhh”. Adam just watches her with a sneer on his face as she doesn’t even smile, instead walks right out of the ring and starts to head toward the back. Adam looks on.)
Deadprez: The challenge has been made and accepted! We are going to see Adam Lucas and Kassidy Heart at Reasonable Doubt in a Clash of Kings! What she said afterwards was totally uncalled for and she is now starting to make this personal.
Eve: Kassidy is a Master of It, a woman that knows just how far she can go, what she can get away with and we just saw it right here, she is pushing the right buttons, but the match is set and we will find out exactly what Kassidy has in plans.
Gavin Kirkland: I plead my innocence.
Deadprez: Adam Lucas is still in the ring watching Kassidy leave, his match with Hans Grayson is next!
(Kassidy never turns around and continues walking as Adam looks on before it fades to a commercial break.)
(As the commercial comes back, Gina Romano is in the ring.)
(Gina Romano: Ladies and Gentlemen, the following contest has a twenty-minute time limit, and is scheduled FOR!
Crowd: ONE FALL!!
( The camera opens up to a view of Adam Lucas already standing in the ring following the commercial break when ‘The Leaving Song Part II’ by AFI plays over the sound system of the Calgary Saddledome as Fire Heart makes his to the ring under mixed reaction from the crowd. )
Gina Romano: From Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada! Weighing in at 216 pounds. He Is The Extraordinary HAAAAANS… GRAYYYYYYSOOOOOOOON!!!!
Deadprez: Hans had a great match against the Straight Shooter Jack Ripley last week. Some may argue the former World Champion used cheap tactics in order to win but despite that Hans delivered quite a performance regardless.
Gavin Kirkland: The Vancouver-born up-and-comer will be looking to put on another display of his skills tonight and perhaps wash off the loss suffered against Jack but the task won’t be an easy one.
( Ding! Ding! Ding! )
Deadprez: AND HERE WE GO! This match is officially underway! Both men move to the center of the ring and shake one another’s hand in a show of sportsmanship before engaging in a clinch to see who will gain the upper hand early on! Hans powers Adam against the ropes, keeping him there until the official orders separation which he creates by moving back to the center of the ring.
Gavin Kirkland: They lock horns once again, this time it’s Lucas who forces Grayson this time into a corner, and once more the official orders them to part ways. The Vancouver-born Grayson obliges. A third time now they engage in a contest of strength. Lucas is about to bring Grayson into a corner again but Hans spins things around and throws a knife edge chop to his opponent!
Crowd: WOOOOOOOO!!!!!!
Eve: Our current King of Elite looks almost amused as he moves in on Hans and delivers a chop of his own!
Crowd: WOOOOOOOO!!!!!!
Deadprez: Grayson takes it like a boss and he swings to deliver another one!
Crowd: WOOOOOOOO!!!!!!
Deadprez: This is returned in kind by Adam Lucas!!
Crowd: WOOOOOOOO!!!!!!
Gavin Kirkland: Both men are exchanging blows to each other’s chest until Hans moves in with a quick headlock before stepping into the ropes and getting pushed away by Lucas. Grayson bounces towards his opponent, shoulder blocking him but Adam doesn’t fall down! Instead, he throws an elbow to the face of Hans! He follows it with a headlock of his own before going to the ropes!
Eve: Shoulder block as well from Lucas, Hans doesn’t budge and throws an elbow back at Adam! And then a chop to the chest! Adam responds with another one of his own! And there they go exchanging chops at one another!! Chop Adam! Chop Hans!
Deadprez: Knee to the midsection from Hans who whips Lucas into the ropes and THEN brings him down with a shoulder block! Adam is quickly back to his feet before getting down once again through a snap mare and then GETS DROP KICKED INTO A CORNER BY GRAYSON!
Gavin Kirkland: Hans moves his opponent to the center of the ring keeping him grounded with an armlock to the back of Adam Lucas. The 2023 King of Elite manages soon after to power his way to his feet pushing Hans to a corner and forcing the official to ask Grayson to let go of him.
Eve: Adam slowly moves away from his opponent THEN SPINS AROUND AND THROWS A PUNCH AND AN ELBOW TO HANS!! Grayson crumbles to the floor against the corner as he is getting repeatedly kicked by his opponent! Adam is stomping a mudhole in his rival tonight!
Deadprez: The crowd appreciates the aggression of their favorite, maybe he will be sending a message to Kassidy Heart, especially with the situation that took place just before this fight. Adam will have a massive challenge before him in Kassidy Heart when they end up facing each other inside the ring but right now Lucas has to fend off a young up-and-comer in Hans Grayson.
Gavin Kirkland: Lucas stands in the center of the ring for a moment before going back to the task at hand. One chop to Has’ chest! Followed by a second, and a third BUT HANS STRIKES BACK WITH ONE OF HIS OWN!! He puts Adam in the corner, back facing Grayson AND HE CHOPS LUCAS IN THE BACK!
Eve: Hans with an Irish whip with force sends Adam against a corner so hard Lucas falls to his knees! He’s holding his lower back but Hans picks up before sending him to the ropes and stops him dead in his tracks with a punch to the gut! HE FOLLOWS IT WITH A RUSSIAN LEGSWEEP AND THEN A COVER!!
OOOOOONNNNNNNEEEEEE!!!!!!
Eve: Lucas kicks out!!
Deadprez: Interesting match-up thus far, Hans seems to be the one in control as he moves to Adam and picks him up for a textbook scoop slam dead in the center of the ring. Hans quickly then moves to a corner he hops on the second rope waiting on Adam to get up. He’s going for a double-ax handle BUT LANDS INTO AN ATOMIC DROP!!
Gavin Kirkland: Can Adam turn the table further? He picks up Hans into his arms AND FLIPS HIM OVER HIS HEAD WITH A FALLAWAY SLAM!! AND A KIP-UP BY ADAM BRINGS HIM BACK TO A VERTICAL BASE UNDER THE CHEERS OF THE CAPACITY CROWD HERE IN THE CALGARY SADDLEDOME!
Eve: Hans is moving to the ropes, moving upward AND ADAM GOES TO THE CORNER HOPPING ON THE SECOND ROPE BEFORE JUMPING TO DELIVER A CLOTHESLINE TO GRAYSON WHO THE FALLS OUTSIDE OF THE RING! Adam doesn’t wait before his next move as he grabs onto the ropes AND SPRINGBOARDS HIMSELF ON TOP OF HIS OPPONENT INTO A CROSSBODY!!
Deadprez: The official checks up on Hans as Adam is moving back to his feet he grabs Hans by the pants and the back of the head AND WHIPS HIM INTO THE BARRICADES!! A bit of aggression here on the part of the current King of Elite as he looks down at his opponent with a bit of scorn as these two were not kind to one another throughout the week. Respect was at the forefront of their promos leading up to this match.
Gavin Kirkland: Lucas moves behind Hans, axe handling to the back sending Grayson to his knees as he is trying to get vertical. Adam moves Grayson into a wrist lock before whipping him against our announce table! HE BANGS HANS’ HEAD OVER OUR TABLE A FEW TIMES!!
Eve: The official is about to start counting them both, I doubt either of these men wants to end this match in a count out as Lucas moves to whip Grayson into a corner post BUT HANS REVERSES AND ADAM KISSES THE POST! Hans has a chance to gain control of this match as he clotheslines Adam against the apron before shoving him inside the ring.
Deadprez: Grayson is trying to gain momentum as the two men were going at it back and forth. Into the ropes, Hans sends Lucas who ducks under a spinning heel kick from Grayson. Bouncing off the ropes again Hans quickly turns RIGHT INTO A SPEAR!!!! DOWN GOES HANS IN WHAT COULD BE SEEN AS A TAUNT TOWARD KASSIDY HEART!
Gavin Kirkland: Lucas looks at the camera spot before moving back to the action with Hans helping him to his feet and throwing an elbow to his opponent BUT HANS THROWS ONE BACK!
Eve: Adam throws an elbow of his own, returned by his rival who then quickly dashes to the ropes to try a clothesline BUT HE’S TAKEN DOWN BY ADAM LUCAS AND A SPINNING LARIAT!! DOWN GOES GRAYSON who is already trying to get up. Adam grabs an arm, and twists it into a lock before whipping Hans chest first into a corner! Grayson to a knee now trying to recover but Hans doesn’t give him a break.
Deadprez: Adam moves to grab onto Hans, whipping him into a corner before moving to swing him into the opposite one but Hans reverses it! Against the turnbuckles goes Adams WHO EXPLODES OUT OF SAID CORNER INTO A CLOTHESLINE!! Down goes Hans and Lucas moves outside of the ring and quickly looks in while holding onto the top rope. We’re going to see some springboard action folks!
Gavin Kirkland: He’s waiting on Hans who’s getting to his feet, what are we going to see from Adam Lucas tonight? SPRINGBOARD FLYING FOREARM!!! IT CONNECTS AND HANS GOES TO THE GROUND!! The crowd loves it as he moves to his feet and prepares himself for his next offensive move, he is standing near Grayson, standing behind him before he goes to the ropes, AND NAILS THE MAN WITH A STEP UP ENZIGURI!!! To his knees goes Grayson WHO GOES FLAT ON THE MAT FOLLOWING A STANDING DROPKICK TO THE BACK OF THE HEAD!!
Eve: Hans is on his stomach face down this could mean a whole lot of trouble for him as Adam picks his legs up AND POSITIONS HIM INTO A FIGURE FOUR LEG LOCK!!! HE HAS IT TIGHTLY IN!! GRAYSON IS SCREAMING IN PAIN THIS COULD END THE MATCH RIGHT NOW!!
Deadprez: The Vancouver native is struggling hard, his arms flailing as he then yells NO to the referee who’s asking if he wants to give up! He tries to go for the ropes, clawing and crawling his way closer while Adam tries to keep him away from them! HE HOLDS ONTO THE BOTTOM ROPE! HANS GRAYSON SURVIVES FOR NOW!!
Gavin Kirkland: Hans is now on his stomach after his opponent left his legs alone following orders from the referee but here goes Lucas quickly moving above him and grabbing onto his waist LIFTING GRAYSON INTO A GERMAN SUPLEX!!!
Deadprez: Hans lands almost on his neck as he lands in the center of the ring. He moves to get back to his feet, and he gets to a knee but here comes Adam Lucas with a few elbows to the side of the face! Grayson tries to block the last few ones BUT GETS A DISCUS PUNCH FOR HIS EFFORTS THAT GETS HIM DOWN!
Gavin Kirkland: He gets back to his feet, Adam waits on him and gets him to his knees again with a basement dropkick to the legs! Adam quickly moves behind Grayson AND APPLIES A SLEEPER HOLD! Is this how he wants to end this fight?
Eve: The referee talks to Grayson but he appears unresponsive after a while. He was flailing his arms at first but now he’s inert! Could this be the end? The official grabs an arm and raises it to the air… It drops! This looks bad! He moves to repeat the maneuver! The Arm Drops Again! If this happens once more this match is over! The referee raises his arm a third time high.
Deadprez: It Drops!
Gavin Kirkland: Adam Lucas W-
Eve: NOT SO FAST LOOK AT GRAYSON’S ARM!! IT STOPPED INCHES BEFORE IT STRUCKED THE MAT!! GRAYSON IS COMING BACK TO LIVE!! WHAT RESILIENCE AS HE IS TRYING TO FEND OFF LUCAS! HE IS GETTING UP, AND THROWS ELBOWS TO THE GUT OF ADAM BEFORE GOING INTO THE ROPES!
Deadprez: HANS GRAYSON RAN RIGHT INTO A SPINBUSTER!!! ADAM WITH THE COVER!!
ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!
Deadprez: HANS KICKS OUT AT TWOOOO!!! But what a spinebuster from the King of Elite!! Grayson now to a knee and Adam picks him up, flips him upside down, and takes him down flat on his back with a scoop slam! Hans is holding his back now before being forced to his feet and Irish whipped to a corner.
Gavin Kirkland: Hans is holding onto the ropes, his back against the corner as Adam is already on the opposite side staring at Grayson before charging forward AND SQUASH HANS WITH A STINGER’S SPLASH!!!
Eve: Time for a commercial break folks! Who will emerge victorious in this match? The continuation and conclusion of this amazing battle will be known after these messages!

Eve: We’re back ladies and gentlemen and thank you for making this episode of Showdown your entertainment of choice this evening! For those tuning in we are in the middle of a match between Adam Lucas and Hans Grayson in what was an intense encounter up until now!
Deadprez: Through the commercial break, Hans managed o gain some measure of the upper hand following a miscalculation from Adam Lucas who now is on his knees and receiving jabs and elbows from his opponent FOLLOWED WITH A CLOTHESLINE! HANS FOLLOWS IT WITH A STANDING MOONSAULT AND ATTEMPTS A COVER!!

Deadprez: Close call for Hans but Adam powers through for a two-count!
Gavin Kirkland: Hans has to keep putting pressure on Adam Lucas if he wants a chance at winning and he does so by throwing a few punches down on Lucas keeping him to the ground. He then moves to grab him by the side AND FLIPS HIM INTO A GUTWRENCH SLAM!! Adam tries to get up, holding his back but is kept to his knees with elbows to the face before landing on his back with a backdrop perfectly executed!
Eve: Adam doesn’t seem to want and stay down, he moves upward painfully so before being brought back down with a quick Japanese arm drag. Lucas again tries to move upward and IS MET WITH A HANDSPRING ROUNDHOUSE KICK JUST AS HE TURNED TO FACE HIS OPPONENT! Down he goes holding his face!
Deadprez: Hans goes on the offense moving to Adam punching him in the face and taking him down with a clothesline before moving to the nearest corner and hopping on the top! DIVING CROSSBODY FROM HANS GRAYSON FOLLOWED BY A FIREMAN CARRY AND A SAMOAN DROP! Adam is in trouble now!
Gavin Kirkland: Grayson gets Adam upward and moves next to him, throwing himself AND Adam down backward with a side Russian leg sweep! Hans quickly gets up, driving a knee to Adam’s midsection before then going to the ropes and jumping into yet another knee strike that lands on Lucas!

Deadprez: Hans quickly goes on the attack as he picks up Adam and hoists him into a Saito suplex that lands perfectly! The King of Elite is on his back now as Grayson is half-mounted on him and throws some heavy punches down on Adam who defends as best as he can.
Eve: The official ends up breaking the sequence by forcing Hans off of him, Lucas gets to his feet but is whipped into the ropes again, gets shoulder blocked but doesn’t fall down BUT THEN HE DOES FOLLOWING A HURRICANRANA!!
Gavin Kirkland: Great move from Hans as Adam was resisting the shoulder block, and then a leg drop lands on Lucas before he moves to the nearest corner and moves to the top. We’re going to see some high-risk move here and Hans takes to the skies with a frog splash BUT ADAM RAISED THE KNEES! HANS CRASHES AGAINST THEM AND IS STANDING UP LOOKING STUNNED!
Eve: Adam Lucas quickly gets up, moving to the ropes for his next move BUT HE RUNS RIGHT INTO A BLUE THUNDER BOMB!!! Hans to his knees, how did he manage to do that move while trying to shake the cobwebs out from the failed splash?? This is incredible! Both men are not trading blows in the center of the ring before Adam turns his back to Hans following a hard elbow to the jaw. Hans quickly pushes Adam to the ropes followed by a roll-through AND A DEADLIFT GERMAN SUPLEX!!!
Deadprez: Adam to his back now with Hans quickly grabbing onto his arms and pulling them up AND HE THEN BEGINS TO STOMP HARD AT ADAM LUCAS’ CHEST!! Deadprez: What a match we just witnessed here folks! The King of Elite looked to be in trouble following a strong string of offense from his opponent but in the end, he managed to surprise him with the Level Up for the win.
Gavin Kirkland: This takes nothing away from Grayson who had a very strong showing tonight, a good match and… Hey look!
( The camera moves to inside the ring where Adam moves near Hans and extends a hand to him in good sportsmanship. Grayson looks up, holding the back of his head but after a short while goes to grab the hand offered to him which the crowd appreciates by cheering on. The scene transitions to a commercial ad break for Reasonable Doubt.)
(As the commercial break ends, ‘The Outsiders’ by Eric Church plays as Donovan Duke walks out. The crowd cheers him on as he walks down the ramp in a more stoic fashion. Donovan then enters the ring, not bothering to pose as he looks around the audience.)
Gina Romano: THIS MATCH IS SCHEDULED FOR ONE FALL WITH A THIRTY MINUTE TIME LIMIT! INTRODUCING FIRST, “THE OKLAHOMA GENTLEMAN” — DONOVAN DUKE!
(‘Sweet Emotion’ by Aerosmith hits as Major walks out to a million cheers. He basks it all in as he walks down the entrance ramp and high fives some people in the audience. When in the ring, he eyes Donovan Duke down, showing respect yet firmness.)
Gina Romano: AND HIS OPPONENT, MAJOR MICHAEL SCOTT CONNOR!
DING! DING! DING!
Gavin Kirkland: SO WE HAVE IT! DONOVAN DUKE AND MAJOR MICHAEL CONNOR ARE IN THE RING FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER! For some hardcore fans, this has been a fantasy matchup between the two personifications of good old AMERICA! Let’s go! Both Donovan and Michael are circling the ring, as they decide to come together for a collar-elbow tie up! Michael is using his superior strength to push Donovan back, but Donovan manages to sweep his foot and turn into a Judo shoulder throw! What a start! But, Michael gets up and he’s brushing his shoulder off!
Eve: Donovan is waiting for Michael to come back in, and they engage in a collar-elbow tie up again, but this time, Michael uses his strength to pull Donovan in and put him into a bear hug! Donovan tries to push himself off Michael, however, Michael is using his strength to keep that latched in! Not good for Donovan early on, but he uses his skill to place Michael down to a knee! He’s using his leg strength to bring him down!
Deadprez: However, the Major is pushing Donovan back, backing him up against the ropes! Quite the unfavorable position here for Duke! Donovan uses his strength to hold his ground, though, and he turns around to attempt a wrist throw on his opponent! Major is down again, and it’s clear that from the jump, Donovan outclasses him by miles in terms of skill, technique and speed! I can’t wait to see how this match progresses as both competitors really get a feel for each other’s talent!
Gavin Kirkland: Michael cracks his neck a few times, and he decides to take it down to the trenches! Good ol’ Merica style, baby! Woo! SEMPER FI! I love the military, I feel ultra patriotic and I wanna sing the national anthem right now! Donovan tries to rush in, but Michael throws the first open hand strike! Donovan is stunned, and Michael comes in with several open hand strikes to the liver! It’s sending the National Elite Champion back, as he uses this opportunity to land a devastating shoulder tackle onto Donovan Duke!
Eve: And Michael is slowly starting to get the hang of it right here! Donovan is on the ground, but he gets back up! Michael tries to throw a punch, but Donovan ducks it and he sends an uppercut FLYING into Michael’s face! Michael ate that shot, but Donovan comes in for a Double Leg Takedown! He rolls him over and he’s trying to go for a side control! Michael manages to hold onto the ground, but Donovan picks him up and literally flings him to the turnbuckle! What a show of strength from Duke! Michael is in the corner, and Donovan wraps his arms around him to lift him up for a BELLY TO BACK SUPLEX!
Deadprez: But Major uses his agility to land on his feet! Donovan did not expect that, and he runs into a Double Leg Takedown! Major is mounted on top of him, and he’s grabbing hold of Donovan’s tricep! He pulls it to roll him to the side, and he takes his back for a Deadlift German Suplex of his own! Donovan tries to break his fall, and he does! He rolls on his back and Major and Donovan are eyeing each other down! They are both showing each other that they are much, much tougher than they thought!
Gavin Kirkland: They give each other a nod of respect, but with respect comes full contact! Major and Donovan are showing their difference in styles here, and Major comes rushing in with a full shoulder tackle! Donovan takes it and stands his ground! The both of them run off the ropes again, and they run into each other for another shoulder tackle, neither of them falling over! What a show of core strength from these two talents! Major slaps Donovan in the face, and Donovan replies back with his own! He speeds it up and grabs a hold of Major’s wrist and turns it over, but the Major pulls Donovan in for a massive headbutt!
Eve: The two of them are actually crazy. I refuse to believe that this is possible in the least bit! Donovan takes the headbutt, and he comes back with a headbutt of his own! Major takes it and he tries to come in with an elbow, but Donovan slips under and he trips him! He’s grabbing a hold of his back and trying to choke him! Major manages to bridge a little bit, but Donovan still has his back! He’s trying to go for a German Suplex, but Major widens his legs a little to make it all the more difficult! Those fingers are going bye bye, and he frees himself from Donovan’s grip!
Deadprez: Donovan slips a little, and Major turns around and lands a pretty strong right hook into his face! Donovan is legitimately wobbled right now, but he’s still fighting! He sends an elbow into Major’s face, and he’s showing him that he’s not just a grappling machine! Boy can fight too! He can throw them hands like it’s a Muay Thai match in this jawn, and Major takes the shot to the face! He comes back with an elbow of his own, and he follows that up with an overhand right! Donovan is down on a knee, and Major pushes him into the mat!
Gavin Kirkland: Is he about to go full Joel Miller on him? Come on, man. Major immediately rushes in, and he begins grounding and pounding Donovan Duke who’s barely blocking it with his forearms! Major is using his power here, and he’s just repeating that, yet Duke is simply too resilient! He’s not backing down here, either! Major slowly gets a little bit fatigued, and Duke rolls him over and instead of going for the ground and pound, he tries to transition into the armbar! Major tries to resist, but no! He can’t!
Eve: Duke has the armbar locked in pretty tightly, but no! Major manages to grip his two hands together and he rolls over! Duke has been here many times already, though! He turns to the side and he places him in an Omoplata position! Major is in a submission here, not a pin! It will be interesting to see how he can use his strength to escape this, or will his frame be the downfall that ends this match earlier than usual! Donovan is holding on pretty tightly here, and Major is trying to reach for the ropes! Can he get to it?
Deadprez: NO! HE CANNOT! HE CANNOT GET TO THE ROPES AND THAT IS QUITE SHOCKING! He has so much strength, but that does not seem to be working in his favor here! Donovan is using physics against him, but Major is persistent! He wants to break the hold the only way possible! He’s pulling himself towards the ropes, and he’s slowly coming much closer towards it! Can he do so? Can he pull this off?
Gavin Kirkland: Donovan is hanging on for dear life, and Major knows what he must do! He must break the rhythm in order to ruin Donovan’s pace! He pulls the arm a few times and frustrates Donovan, and he eventually catches a break and he pulls himself towards the ropes! He holds the ropes and he takes it, the referee HAS TO count the break! Donovan releases at the count of THREE! What a show of perseverance from the Marine here! What a match! Donovan picks Major up, but the Major lands a low kick to Duke! He’s showing that he won’t go down that easy, and I won’t lie, that is pretty commendable!
Eve: It is, Gavin! It is truly commendable how in the face of this much adversity, he’s showing that true Marine spirit! Michael is fighting out of pure instinct here, and he sends a body shot in Donovan Duke, getting him to a leaning position as he drops him flat on his head for a DDT! That just caught him off guard there, and Donovan Duke is out! Michael rolls him over, and he’s going for the pin! He’s going for the cover right here to finish Donovan Duke off, and can he pull off the upset and get his big victory?

Deadprez: No! Donovan Duke is somehow, and somehow still fighting in this match! Major just nods his head, as he knows that he has to step the pace up if he really wants to make Donovan Duke experience the trenches! Major grabs ahold of his neck, and he’s looking to apply a rear naked choke! He wraps the arms around the throat, and Donovan Duke wakes up as he gasps for air! Michael has the choke locked in tightly, and it’ll be interesting to see how Donovan Duke gets out of his one here! Donovan is sticking his feet out, trying to reach for the nearest rope to him!
Gavin Kirkland: I think that in all his fatigue, Michael forgot that Donovan is right next to a rope! He places his leg on it, and Michael has to release the hold! Donovan’s quite happy that this is the case, and he takes this moment to breathe as Michael is likewise also quite heavily fatigued here! Donovan stands up, as Michael does too! They both give each other another nod of respect before deciding to brawl it out! They were playing Donovan’s game earlier, now it’s time to take it to the real trenches right here, right now! Both of them are brawling on each other, throwing wild punch after wild punch and hoping they land! Michael is more successful in this exchange, though!
Eve: MICHAEL! MICHAEL! NO! DONOVAN— NO! Michael lands a headbutt and he whips Donovan into the ropes, but Donovan manages to whip him into the ropes as Michael does a rolling forward ukemi roll over him! He just stunned Duke, and Michael and Donovan are eye to eye again, as they decide to continue just dogging it out! Michael lands punches, and so does Donovan in this exchange, neither of them coming out on top just yet! But, Donovan uses the unpredictability to his advantage, sending a spinning backfist! The Dealer’s Choice takes Michael off guard here, and this might have drastically changed the momentum in this match! Michael is down on a knee, as he falls over and lays, knocked out!
Deadprez: He’s going for the cover, no! Donovan decides that there’s so much more he can do! Donovan places his chest on Michael’s, and he’s going for a scarf hold! He wants to ruin Michael’s breathing as best as he possibly can, even if that means going into close territory— but no! Michael pushes Duke off him and he’s rolling him down to let himself go! Michael knows he has to keep the switch on at all times, and he’s being more aggressive! He rebounds off the ropes, catching Donovan off guard as he slams him into the ground with a shoulder tackle! What the hell is going on here? Michael might have the advantage in this match so far, and he’s using his strength to throw Donovan around like a damn ragdoll!
Gavin Kirkland: So far, not very good for Duke as the match nears the 19th minute! Donovan is trying to hold on, but Michael Connor is insane, sending punch after punch into his abdomen, as Michael pulls Donovan Duke into a DOUBLE UNDERHOOK DDT! THE TAPS, HE CALLS IT, AND IT JUST LANDED ON HIM! MAJOR IS GOING FOR THE COVER YET AGAIN, AND HE’S TRYING TO END THIS MATCH AND MAKE IT AN UPSET—

It seems like the titantron is glitching a little! Michael is distracted by it, and Donovan is still trying to catch his breath! Is that—
Deadprez: THAT’S DRAKE ARMSTRONG! DRAKE ARMSTRONG CATCHES MICHAEL SCOTT CONNOR WITH A RIGHT HOOK, BEFORE SENDING A CHAIR INTO HIS HEAD! THE REFEREE DIDN’T SEE IT AS HE WAS CHECKING ON THE GLITCH! Drake causes the titantron to glitch to distract the Major, as he uses the chair to drive it into Michael’s stomach!
Gavin Kirkland: He drops down, and Michael turns around only to be met with an elbow to the face! He’s leaning forward, and Michael is lifted up into a Fireman’s Carry position here— WILL THE MATCH END RIGHT HERE? Donovan lifts him up, and HE DROPS HIM DOWN! THE DUKE OF HAZZARD CONNECTS! WILL IT FINISH OFF HIS OPPONENT? He’s going for his first cover of the night here, and he’s hoping that it’ll work!

(Drake Armstrong rolls in, interrupting the victory announcement as both Donovan and Gina roll out to the outside. Both Drake and Major begin brawling around the ring, before taking it to the outside.)
Gavin Kirkland: It seems like they’re traveling through the audience! They’re fighting on the stands, and Drake is winning! He lands chair shot after chair shot on the Major, as the Major is weakened from fighting for so long! Drake grabs ahold of Major’s neck, before dropping him down with a DDT!
Eve: And Drake continues the beatdown, but wait— OGAWA! IT’S KOMATSU OGAWA AND HE DROPS A TRASH CAN ON DRAKE’S HEAD! He runs into it, and he puts Drake Armstrong to sleep here! Ogawa picks up the Major into a powerslam position, and he drives him into the trash-can placed Drake! He’s beating on the both of them, and it seems like they’re alone—
Deadprez: LUCAS JOHNSON IS OUT TO PLAY RIGHT HERE, LADIES AND GENTLEMEN! Lucas comes out and he’s staring down Komatsu Ogawa! They’re both friends, but it seems like they want to fight each other as well! Lucas and Ogawa begin teeing off on one another, but Drake and Major wake up! Drake drops the trash can on Ogawa’s head as Major lifts Lucas up for a suplex!
Gavin Kirkland: Lucas does a backflip, and he kicks Major’s head into the other two! He runs off the ramp and he tackles all three down the stairs of the stand, as they roll down and hurt each other! Eventually, Lucas breaks the barricade and he places all three of them on the outside— but no! Major is up and he sees Lucas! He gets on the top rope and they begin brawling—
Eve: Ogawa follows up, but Major has Lucas in a powerbomb position! Ogawa gets the two of them into a powerbomb position, however, as Drake rolls in and joins! Drake lifts Ogawa up on his shoulders, and what a display of strength here! He’s running off, and he drops all of them in a powerbomb, as they are all down!
(Showdown authorities run in, as the brawl is broken up. All four men are escorted out, Lucas and Ogawa being the freshest, and Drake and Major being pretty beat up.)
(‘The Outsiders’ by Eric Church finally hits as Gina resumes her victory announcement, showing incredible patience in dealing with this brawl. Donovan Duke is already at the entrance ramp, however, and waits for his cue to leave.)
Gina Romano: AND YOUR WINNER — DONOVAN DUKE!
(The crowd continues to cheer at the brawl when suddenly “Her” by Megan Thee Stallion starts to play, replacing Donovan’s theme.)
Deadprez: The General Manager is about to make her presence felt!
Eve: It looks like she has seen enough!
Gavin Kirkland: Yes! She is so beautiful! Just look at her!
(The crowd boos as Kennedy Street, the General Manager of Showdown in a red dinner dress and silver heels walks out with a mic.)
Kennedy Street: ENOUGH! ENOUGH!
(As she screams the officials are able to separate all four men, they are trying to get at each other.)
Kennedy Street: You know….as Kennie was sitting in the back watching this all unfold, from the start of the show until now, it looks like Reasonable Doubt is making its card on its own and Kennie has very little to do with it. Now… you four gents have an issue, getting all rowdy and everything else, to the point that this has become quite the combustible element. So, your Sexy Flawless Diva has a solution.
(All four competitors are looking out at Kennedy who is pacing around some, the crowd continues to boo.)
Drake Amrstrong: (Off-Mic) I WANT THEM ALL IN THE RING!
(Kennedy heard it and with her index finger up she gain tries to take control of the situation.)
Kennedy Street: Right… Kennie hears you and Drake, honey? You along with the Major, Ogawa and the other Lucas there are going to have a Unique Opportunity at Reasonable Doubt. I haven;t done one of these yet, Kennie knows that Hurricane Hawk used these a lot, but this one is going to be HIGHER stakes. It is going to be a Ladder Match, but the Unique Opportunity is going to have two briefcases, one is a contract for a title match of my choosing, the other? Is a contract for Thirty Days to serve ME … HAND and FOOT. So, gentlemen, come Reasonable Doubt, you four will get the chance to alter the future and maybe one will be a Champion…. The other will do my bidding.
(“Her” starts to play as Kennedy winks and smiles before she slowly starts making her way toward the back. All four men look at one another while the officials are holding them back.)
Deadprez: WHAT DID WE JUST HEAR!?
Eve: Kennedy Street has made it a Unique Opportunity with TWO briefcases! One will undoubtedly give one of these men a shot at a title and the other will make them serve her hand and foot for thirty days!?
Gavin Kirkland: SHE DOESN’T NEED TO DO THAT! I AM RIGHT HERE TO SERVE HER!
(The chaos continues in the ring as it cuts to the backstage area.)
(We cut to the back, where Veena Adams is standing in front of a full-length mirror. Not only is she wearing a skimpy outfit that accentuates all her attributes to their full effect, but she also wears the National Elite Championship around her waist. She sways, admiring it and the way that it looks, the hugest of smiles on her face as she tilts her head so that she can see from every angle.)
Veena Adams: Oh Veena, aren’t you just the prettiest thing with your precious title around your so slim waist?
(Yes, Veena is indeed complimenting herself, thankfully not quite going as far as to ask the mirror who is the fairest of them all.)
Venna Adams: I always knew it would look good, but THIS good. I must be the envy of the entire company. The work I’ve put in, people shouldn’t be envious, they should hold me up as the example of how an Elitist should carry themselves. The Epitome of Elitism, that’s what I should be known as. I think that there can now be very little question. I AM one of the top singles champions in EAW, if not THE Champion. Just like I always said I would be.
(The door opens, and Heidi Huxley walks in, Venna turning around to face her, her hand going to the plate of the belt which she rubs with pride. A huge grin forms on her face and she is almost giddy with excitement, an opportunity to once again boast of her achievements to the representative of Disney.)
Veena Adams: Hi Heidi, I’m glad you could join me. I was just saying how amazing this belt looks around my waist, wouldn’t you agree?
Heidi Huxley: It is good to see someone who understands what being a champion is, yes.
Veena Adams: And you must admit, it most certainly is a privilege for you to be part of a company that is lucky enough to have someone like me as a champion. I mean, imagine the possibilities, the merchandising. Wait, I could be in a live action remake, but a good one, instead of those tacky efforts that have done thus far.
Heidi Huxley: Totally agree Veena, the Championship could be the making of you, and yes if you succeed, then we all do.
Veena Adams: I’m so happy to hear that, because believe it or not, I have people who still doubt me.
(Heidi pulls a face)

(Veena’s eyes widened a little suddenly, a little more interested.)
Heidi Huxley: See, Kennedy has also been very happy with the work that Roberto De La Rosa has been doing of late. And seeing how he will take out Ms. Extreme later tonight, it is only right that he be rewarded too. So yeah, Roberto will be getting a title shot as well… in a triple threat,
(For a moment Veena isn’t quite sure what she is hearing. This wasn’t the way she should be treated, especially by someone she believed was a friend.)
Veena Adams: Wait. Hold on. I’m defending the National Elite Championship. MY championship against them BOTH???
Heidi Huxley: Yes, that’s right. Kennedy said you would be pleased to be given the chance to show just how great a champion you are.
Venna Adams: But…

(Veena waits on tender hooks, probably in the hope this was all a joke.)
Heidi Huxley: Got it. Good luck…honey.
(Heidi walks out the room, Veena watching her go in almost disbelief, her face giving the impression that she was absolutely seething. It is on that face that the scene fades to Kyra Phillips.)
(We cut to the back, where Kyra Phillips is standing with Lexi, who doesn’t seem her usual self. The reaction from the crowd gives her a little boost, and a glimmer of a smile, but it is obvious that all isn’t right in Lexi’s world right now.)
Kyra Phillips: Lexi, you requested this time, what is it you have to say?
(Lexi pauses for a moment, wanting to get these words right and get across their meaning. Gone were the days when she just said the first words that came into her head.)
Lexi: I firmly believed that I was going to become the Specialist Champion. Of course, I knew that it wasn’t a sure thing, nothing ever is, but I truly believed that I was good enough to overcome my opponents and for once in my career stand tall. I didn’t. I firmly believed that last week, I would take the ‘Joker’ wannabe, and put that defeat behind me, and get myself back on track. I didn’t. That’s frustrating Kyra… and more than anything it’s frustrating because I believe that I’ve let myself down after doing so much good work to get here.
Kyra Phillips: I think we have all seen that in your transformation of late.
Lexi: That’s good of you to say, but it still doesn’t change anything. I still failed.
Kyra Phillips: But sometimes…
Lexi: I know, I know. I’ve read the handbook. The need to trust the process and eventually you’ll break through that glass ceiling. But when you truly believe that the ‘process’ was at its end and your time had finally arrived, and then it doesn’t. It’s difficult Kyra… it’s difficult to find a way to move on. I’m sorry that I must use her as an example again, but I look at Bethany who is now the Universal Women’s Champion, and I know that I can be there as well one day. I know I am good enough to hold the most prestigious women’s championship in the world. But to do that, I need to find the answers to the questions that right now, it seems I am refusing to outright answer. Getting so close, and yet so far. Eve: After a shortcoming whose negative effects were more than clear to the eventual winner, Adam Lucas, in the quarterfinals of the King Of Elite tournament, and then a double count-out against Jon Kelton, just last week, it’s easy to tell that Alex Myers’ goal right now is figuring out a way to bounce back no matter the cost. It’s no secret that they have been on a different level ever since losing the New Breed Championship, which is evident keeping their victories over Xander Payne, Chris Elite, and TLA this season in mind, but nonetheless, tonight is the night which they can prove that none of those was a fluke on, and as someone who is sure they weren’t, I know for certain that Alex Myers has all the tools to do so right now.

Deadprez: Uh… I’m sure that nobody liked the way this wonderful matchup chose to end, but I’m certain that it changes nothing about how great it was, either. Both Elitists brought everything they had in the bag into this match, but in the end, there wasn’t a specific winner declared, which although I know annoys both individuals right here, I’m sure that both of them will be able to bounce back sooner rather than later.
Eve: Yeah, Holly Arrow was dead set on bouncing back from her heartbreaking shortcoming in the finals of the Empress of Elite tournament, while Alex Myers obviously wanted to get back to their winning ways ever since their loss to the King of Elite, Adam Lucas, in the King of Elite tournament finals. But eventually it was proven that both competitors wanted this equally, and it is what reasoned in what just transpired.
Gavin Kirkland: Nonetheless, the result as said changes nothing about how just amazing this match was. We will see you after this short commercial break!
(The final shot is seen as Holly Arrow is seen making her way to the exist, albeit being helped to walk by Harper Lee due to how just tried she is because of the pain she’s gone through in this match-up, meanwhile Alex Myers is seen just resting against the bottom turnbuckle in a seated position, trying go catch their breath, looking clearly upset with what just transpired. From there, Saturday Night Showdown fades to a commercial break.)
(We come back from the commercial and see Alex Myers, still exhausted after what had been an almighty struggle against Holly Arrow. They really don’t look in the best shape, and they lean against the wall, fearful that they may collapse. Having caught their breath, they carry on towards the locker rooms, knowing that a shower would help, knowing that by tomorrow they would be preparing for the next challenge that was to come.)
Voice: FOUND YOU!!!
(Alex Myers spins around, straight into a hard right hand from Harley Lewis that sends them backwards and into the wall. Harley then throws another punch, but Alex evades it, spinning around the back of Lewis, trying to get their senses back together and fight off their assailant. Harley is too quick though, Alex’s exertions are too much for them, and Harley drives a knee into Alex’s stomach, before dropping an elbow onto the back of their neck, Alex dropping onto one knee.)
Harley Lewis: So much fire… so much honor. Yes Alex, you will be perfect
(Harley goes to lift Alex up, but Alex finds something deep in their locker, and they thrust themselves upwards, the top of their skull crashing into Harley’s jaw and knocking him two steps backwards. Alex then starts firing off bombs of their own, Harley trying to cover up and stop the onslaught, though a smile never leaves his face as if he is truly enjoying this. Alex grabs Harley into a headlock, squeezing for all they are worth, but Harley stops the momentum with a low blow, Alex immediately letting go. Harley then headbutts Alex right on the bridge of the nose, busting them open and temporarily blinding them. Harley then grabs Alex at the back of the head and then spins around, throwing them through a locker room door, Alex crashing into a bench and hitting the floor.)
Harley Lewis: Such spirit, such intensity. This is going to be good.
(Harley walks into the locker room, and as Alex shows that spirit in abundance, and tries to get up, finding themselves on all fours, Harley drives a boot into Alex’s stomach, leveling them on the concrete, before then driving their heel into their kidneys, Alex now having used every bit of energy they had left. This would have normally been a problem for them, but after the match, this attack had just been too much to fight off. Harley rolls Alex onto their back and places a knee on their chest to keep them down, before then leaning forwards, his eyes almost filled with intrigue.)
Harley Lewis: Allow me to introduce myself…
Alex Myers: I know who you are, Harley.
Harley Lewis: Do you though. Do you really? Or do you know the façade I was, and not the person I have become. I’ve been searching for Alex. Searching for that ‘hero’ the do-gooder that believes that they are the answer. You are that hero that I have been looking for, the one who will enable me to tell my story.

Ms. Extreme is fueled by her unyielding determination and refuses to give in to fatigue. She quickly rises to her feet and takes advantage of the opportunity by raining down a flurry of stomps on Roberto!
Eve: Roberto finds himself defenseless early on, but he doesn’t waste any time in rolling out of the ring to avoid further harm, much to the displeasure of the crowd, who begin to shower him with boos.

Deadprez: Roberto rolls back into the ring, but before he can get his bearings, Ms. Extreme charges towards him once more! Roberto quickly sidesteps her and executes a quick German Suplex, taking Ms. Extreme down to the floor in a matter of seconds. Ms. Extreme down on the ground, Roberto wastes no time in springing back to his feet. He launches himself towards her and begins to pummel her with a series of punches, determined to get his revenge! This time around, he’s the one coming with the payback!
Gavin Kirkland: Roberto abruptly ceases his punching and clambers to his feet, taking Ms. Extreme with him. Roberto hurls her towards the corner of the ring with a great force! He runs in-
Eve: Ms. Extreme swiftly catches Roberto with a powerful kick to the face, propelling him back inside the ring. Before he has a chance to turn around, she jumps up to the second rope, poised to unleash her next attack!
Deadprez: ROBERTO QUICKLY CLIMBS UP TO THE SECOND ROPE AND SNATCHES Ms. EXTREME OFF THE ROPE, SLAMMING HER DOWN WITH A THUNDEROUS SAITO SUPLEX, LEAVING THE CROWD IN AWE OF HIS STRENGTH AND TECHNIQUE!!!!!!!!!!!
Gavin Kirkland: Ms. Extreme is clearly feeling the effects of the massive Saito Suplex delivered by Roberto. As she struggles to regain her bearings, Roberto slowly begins to push himself off the mat and climb back up to his feet, before making his way towards the apron. Roberto reaches both feet and waits for Ms. Extreme to regain her footing….
Eve: Ms. Extreme struggles to get back on her feet while holding her back…. ROBERTO LEAPS OFF THE ROPE AND LANDS A SPRINGBOARD FOREARM SMASH CALLED THE ‘BORDER CRASHER’, COMPLETELY TAKING HER OUT!
Deadprez: Ms. Extreme quickly evades, causing him to crash onto the mat. Ms. Extreme gets back on her feet AND LANDS A STANDING SHOOTING STAR PRESS SENTON RIGHT ONTO ROBERTO’S GUT, KNOCKING THE AIR OUT OF HIM!
Gavin Kirkland: Ms. Extreme is about to make a cover when Javier and Diego attempt to enter the ring and disrupt the match. The referee immediately intervenes, catching both men and trying to prevent them from entering the ring! What are these two thinking?!
Referee: (Off-Mic) *yelling* HEY! HEY! YOU TWO ARE NOT ALLOWED!
Eve: OH LOOK FROM BEHIND, ESMERALDA TAKES Ms. EXTREME DOWN WITH A CHOP BLOCK AND QUICKLY ROLLS OUT OF THE RING. MEANWHILE, ROBERTO STARTS TO COME BACK TO HIS FEET!
Deadprez: Roberto rises to his feet and moves quickly towards Ms. Extreme, who remains on the ground. He seizes her and takes her down with a German Suplex! Ms. Extreme remains down on the mat, but Roberto doesn’t stop there. He sits on her and starts unleashing a series of elbow blows across her face!
Gavin Kirkland: Ms. Extreme is still struggling, and Roberto takes advantage of the situation. He releases her and quickly pulls her up, slamming her face into the middle turnbuckle before starting to stomp on her!
Eve: Roberto swipes Ms. Extreme’s face with his right foot, which prompts the crowd to boo him due to the disrespectful move he just executed on his opponent. Roberto ignores the negative reactions of the audience and follows up by delivering a stiff slap across Ms. Extreme’s face! Roberto seizes Ms. Extreme’s head and drags her out of the corner before slamming her face down onto the mat!

Deadprez: Roberto appears frustrated as he is still unable to take down Ms. Extreme. Meanwhile, Jack remains inactive, standing with his arms crossed and observing the match. It seems that Jack has a multitude of objectives in mind for this bout.
Gavin Kirkland: Roberto lifts Ms. Extreme up to her feet and propels her towards the ropes. Ms. Extreme manages to avoid going over the ropes, and lands on both feet. Roberto charges in, but Ms. Extreme swiftly jumps onto the top rope, and takes Roberto down to the mat with a Springboard Armdrag!
Eve: Roberto gets back up to his knees, and gradually recovers from the impact of the armdrag. Ms. Extreme charges towards him again, but Roberto evades her attack by sidestepping at the last moment, causing her to run into the ropes instead!
Deadprez: Ms. Extreme rebounds off the ropes and Roberto hoists her into the air. Roberto attempts to strike her with a Big Boot in the air, but Ms. Extreme manages to land safely on both feet, and seizes his right foot!
Gavin Kirkland: Ms. Extreme yanks Roberto towards her and hurls him down to the mat with an Exploder Suplex. She maintains her grip on Roberto, and prepares to go for another one to further weaken her opponent!
Eve: Roberto lands a stunning right elbow to the top of Ms. Extreme’s head, causing her to stumble towards the ropes. Ms. Extreme rebounds off the ropes just as Roberto attempts a dropkick!
Deadprez: Ms. Extreme applies a quick brake, deftly ducks under Roberto’s legs, and catches him from behind. With an impressive display of strength, she hoists Roberto up and slams him down to the mat with a Saito Suplex! Roberto writhes in agony on the ground, unable to counter Ms. Extreme’s counterattack!
Gavin Kirkland: Ms. Extreme rises to her feet and takes hold of Roberto’s arm, pulling him up with her. She drags him towards the corner behind her, determined to keep up her momentum. Ms. Extreme sends Roberto into it with a forceful toss and follows up with a right elbow to his face, causing him to stagger back. Ms. Extreme climbs up to the second rope while grabbing Roberto’s head in a side headlock….
Eve: Ms. Extreme attempts to execute a Springboard Bulldog from the second rope, but Roberto catches her mid-air and holds her up high before slamming her back onto the apron!
Deadprez: Ms. Extreme winces in agony as she clutches her back, gritting her teeth against the sharp pain that shoots up her spine. Roberto charges towards her, but Ms. Extreme doesn’t back down, standing her ground like a fortress against a battering ram.
Deadprez: Ms. Extreme unleashes a vicious punch, catching Roberto off guard and sending him reeling back inside the ring. Ms. Extreme seizes the opportunity to make her move. She grabs onto the top rope, pulling with all her might as she launches herself into the air, taking flight!
Gavin Kirkland: Roberto with a hard slap sends Ms. Extreme stumbling backwards. She tries to regain her footing, but her balance is off, and she ends up falling onto the top rope!
Eve: Roberto seizes the opportunity to pounce on the wounded Ms. Extreme, running towards her… Roberto tackles her, sending her hurtling down to the apron! Ms. Extreme’s face smashes down onto the apron’s surface! Ms. Extreme refuses to give up, gritting her teeth as she clutches her face in agony. Roberto is quick to capitalize on her weakness, striding confidently towards her with a malevolent grin on his face. He reaches down and grabs her by the arm, dragging her back inside the ring.
Eve: Roberto drops her down to the middle of the ring. Before she can even try to stand up, Roberto grabs her by the hair, pulling her into a seated position….. Roberto drives his boot right into her face!
Gavin Kirkland: Ms. Extreme recoils in pain, her head snapping back like a whip! Roberto isn’t done there before pulling her right back to both feet… A CLOTHESLINE FROM HELL TURNING MS. EXTREME INSIDE OUT COMPLETELY!
( Roberto stands over the lifeless body of Ms. Extreme, a grin plastered across his face. He had just delivered a devastating clothesline that had sent her crashing to the mat like a ragdoll. The boos rain down from the crowd, but Roberto pays them no heed. Roberto looks around the arena, nodding his head in approval as he takes in the sights and sounds of the jeering crowd. He revels in their hatred, feeding off their negative energy. Roberto calls out to his cousins, beckoning them to join him in the ring. The two of them climb in as they walk toward Ms. Extreme. The referee tries to stop them, but Roberto quickly pulls the referee away from them and distracts them completely. )
Eve: What is Roberto trying to achieve here? Javier and Diego are working together to pull Ms. Extreme back to her feet. It appears as though they may be planning to perform some sort of…. sacrifice?
Gavin Kirkland: OH WELL, NOT ANYMORE! Ms. Extreme quickly takes action by grabbing Javier and executing a Snap Suplex, causing him to drop to the ground. Diego attempts to attack her, but she swiftly dodges his move, delivers a kick to his gut, and then hits him with a ‘Twist of Fate’ – a spinning neckbreaker that knocks him out cold!
Deadprez: Ms. Extreme takes advantage of the opportunity to go on the offensive. Roberto pushes the referee aside and confronts her directly. Ms. Extreme responds by delivering a gut kick to Roberto, driving him towards the ropes….. She then ducks under his arm, and a Belly-to-Back suplex takes Roberto down!
Eve: Roberto gains an advantage by stomping on Ms. Extreme’s right foot, causing her to stumble. He then uses this opportunity to take her down with an armdrag, followed by a dropkick to the back of her head!
Gavin Kirkland: Rather than going for a pin, Roberto chooses to pick Ms. Extreme back up and send her toward the ropes. As she comes back towards him, Roberto attempts to catch her, but Ms. Extreme takes advantage of his position and runs over him, going behind him to grab him for a German Suplex!
Deadprez: Roberto responds by hitting her with a back elbow to the face, preventing her from executing the move. Roberto attempts to hit Ms. Extreme with another back elbow, but she manages to duck under it. Ms. Extreme quickly takes advantage of the opening and connects a Saito Suplex, sending Roberto crashing to the ground!
Eve: Ms. Extreme realizes that it won’t be enough to defeat her opponent. She decides not to go for a pin immediately and instead gets back to her feet. She heads over to the corner of the ring behind Roberto and climbs up to the top rope, carefully positioning herself and preparing for her next move…..
Gavin Kirkland: Roberto reaches both feet, and MS. EXTREME POPS OFF THE TOP CORNER FOR ‘GLASS CEILING’ !!!! A TOP ROPE STUNNER SHADES OF CAMERON ELLA AVA TAKING ROBERTO OUT!!!!
Deadprez: Roberto catches her instead and holds her on! He tries to push her towards the corner, but Ms. Extreme is able to pull back just in time to avoid hitting it. She turns around to face him, Roberto greets her with a hard Handed Chop to her throat, stopping her in her tracks! Roberto goes for another one, and it connects! He pulls Ms. Extreme down this time, setting her up for a Lifted Rolling Cutter to complete ‘El Pegue De Mezcal’ on Ms. Extreme!
Eve: Ms. Extreme with a right knee to the top of Roberto’s head, sending him stumbling away from her. Ms. Extreme seizes the opportunity to press her advantage and goes for the ‘Code Red’ ! Roberto pops her in the air and catches her with a handed chop to the throat again! Another one at the same spot and this time…. LIFTED ROLLING CUTTER CONNECTS! ‘EL PEGUE DE MEZCAL’ APPLIES! Down goes Ms. Extreme and Roberto with a hook to her leg, looking for a cover right there!

Eve: Roberto is left completely defenseless as Ms. Extreme continues her assault. The referee checks on Roberto to see if he’s still able to continue the match, but despite his injuries, Roberto refuses to give up…. MS. EXTREME RELEASES ROBERTO’S WRISTS AND KNEELS DOWN, PUMMELING HIM WITH A SERIES OF HARD BLOWS TO HIS FACE WITH HER RIGHT HAND!!!!
Deadprez: Ms. Extreme abruptly stops punching Roberto and begins to pry his mouth open as if she were a dentist…. OH, CHRIST! SHE STARTS PUMMELING HIS TEETH WITH HER FISTS IN A BRUTAL ATTEMPT TO BREAK THEM ALL AT ONCE!
Gavin Kirkland: The crowd is going absolutely wild for Ms. Extreme’s relentless and brutal actions. Without showing any signs of stopping, she grabs Roberto by the head and slams his face repeatedly into the mat! Again! Again! Again… AND AGAIN! Ms. Extreme is out of blood!
Eve: Roberto’s eyes already start closing. Ms. Extreme takes a quick look…
Ms. Extreme: (Off-Mic) Nope.
Deadprez: Ms. Extreme is completely unstoppable, continuing to drive Roberto’s face into the ground as if he hasn’t paid his rent! She looks absolutely furious and is taking out all of her anger on Roberto, who is defenseless against her unyielding assault. With no sign of stopping, she repeatedly slams Roberto’s face into the mat, making it clear that she won’t be satisfied until he’s completely defeated!
Gavin Kirkland: Ms. Extreme finally stops her assault and pulls Roberto back up to his feet. Ms. Extreme slams his face into the corner turnbuckle and then begins stomping on his head relentlessly. It’s clear that she’s targeting his head, likely in an attempt to render him unconscious and secure her victory!
( Ms. Extreme takes a moment to catch her breath and looks down at her opponent who is sitting in the corner, clearly in a great deal of pain and exhaustion. )
Ms. Extreme: (Off-Mic) Not problematic, huh?
( SLAP! )
Ms. Extreme: (Off-Mic) Hm? What can you say now, little buddy?

Ms. Extreme drops to the ground, hooking Roberto’s leg for a cover!

She goes right after Roberto, grabs his left arm, and CATCHES HIM IN THE “RED HANDED” SUBMISSION HOLD – A SEATED FUJIWARA ARMBAR THAT IS NOW TORTURING ROBERTO. THIS MAY BE THE END FOR HIM!
Deadprez: Roberto screams in pain as Ms. Extreme applies the Seated Fujiwara Armbar with all her strength. He struggles to break free but Ms. Extreme has the hold locked in tight. The referee checks on Roberto to see if he wants to give up, but Roberto grits his teeth and refuses to tap out!
Eve: Roberto struggles to break free but Ms. Extreme isn’t holding back and continues to put more pressure into the submission hold. She’s determined to make Roberto quit right there in the middle of the ring!
Gavin Kirkland: HE IS HOLDING ON!
Eve: ROBERTO IS NOT GIVING UP SO EASILY!
Deadprez: HE IS FADING! HE IS FADING! THAT’S IT, HE’S DONE! ROBERTO LOOKS LIKE HE PASSED OUT!
( DING DING DING! )
Gina Romano: Here is your winner… MS. EXTREM-
Gavin Kirkland: WOAH! ‘YOU’LL FLOAT TOO’ !!!!!!! A SUPERKICK FROM BEHIND JUST KNOCKED MS. EXTREME RIGHT BACK DOWN TO THE GROUND!
( Ms. Extreme lies lifeless on the ground as Jack looks down at her with a cold and calm expression. Her theme music doesn’t even have a chance to start playing before he leaves the ring, shaking his head in disappointment. ‘Blue World’ by Mac Miller begins playing as he makes his exit. )
Deadprez: It appears that Jack Ripley has made a clear statement tonight to Ms. Extreme, but only time will tell what comes next. Aside from that, it was a great match between Roberto and Ms. Extreme tonight! Both competitors deserve credit for bringing their A-game and giving it their all in the ring. They really went toe-to-toe and left nothing on the table. All in all, it was a real knock-down-drag-out fight!
( In the final shot, Jack Ripley is seen standing on the center of the stage, watching Ms. Extreme for one last time before he heads to the back. Meanwhile, Ms. Extreme awakens and shoots a vengeful look towards Jack, giving the impression that there will be unfinished business between them as scene fades out into a commercial break. )

Kennedy Street sits behind her desk, eyes rolling as there seems to be a commotion in her office. She looks over at Heidi Huxley and Maximillian, her personal bodyguard who both are waiting for her command. Alex Myers holds their head after the attack by Harley Lewis, there is also Jon Kelton and Donovan Duke.)
Alex Myers: You pride yourself as a General Manager who is all about what is good for business, yet allow pretty much lawlessness throughout Showdown!
(Kennedy Slowly stands up…..)
Alex Myers: I am against unnecessary violence against authority figures but what Ms. Extreme did to you last week was warranted!
Kennedy Street: Oh really? Well maybe if you hadn’t lost and saved Hurricane Hawk’s job, Kennie wouldn’t be your GM right now, honey!
(Alex’s eyes widen, just as the seven foot Maximillian tries to stand in their way.)
Jon Kelton: Let’s not get too passive aggressive here, the fact is I made it to the semi-finals in the King of Elite tournament. I had this clown beat here last week…..

(Alex Myers nods, Jon Kelton smiles as Donovan Duke is just grateful. They can then hear laughter outside the door, where Heidi walks over and opens it, Harley Lewis was there listening the whole time. Alex is about to go jump him but contains themselves from doing so.)

In just a few seconds, we will go to the ring for tonight’s main event, but before that, allow me to introduce our special guest commentator for this match. The cheers for this duo are more than usual because we are in their home country. Xander and Ryan move past Miss Demi Knorr as Ryan gives her a thankful nod before giving their full focus as they head to the ring.)
Eve: Miss Demi Knorr. Always a pleasure to hear her. But she is right. This team is the home team tonight so to speak. Xander is from Toronto and Ryan is from Montreal. These two have a lot on their mind as they head into an eventual match for the Unified Tag Team Titles.
Deadprez: Xander and Ryan have Soul Food Sunday on deck and they want to try to build as much momentum as possible before that match. Tonight would be a good start.
Impact: Did that bimbo announce these two at 475 pounds? That’s a load of crap. 675 I would believe when you look at Xander Payne, but no 475. Whatever. They can beat the crap out of the opposition as much as they want as long as they leave enough for Reasonable Doubt so I can get my title back.
Gavin Kirkland: These two would absolutely love to knock off the Answers World Champion and one of the top contenders for the title. It would certainly raise their stock around here as well as play the spoiler for 2/3s of the Main Event at Reasonable Doubt. They can get the job done, but their opponents are nobody to overlook.
(Xander and Ryan enter the ring and take their corner as their entrance music fades away. Seconds later, “Invincible” by Pop Smoke begins to play as Chris Elite enters the arena to loud cheers from the crowd. He takes a second to look out at the crowd before he heads to the ring.)
Gina Romano: Introducing their opponents! First! Making his way to the ring from Brooklyn, New York! Weighing in at 210 pounds. Here is “GAWD… GIVEN… GREATNESS!” CHRIS ELITE!!
Gavin Kirkland: It’s a pleasure to have Chris Elite back on Showdown. He made a big return just a few weeks ago at King of Elite. One Box Office Smash to the face of Impact and he made his presence felt.
Impact: Zip it, Kirkland! Yeah he kicked me. Big deal. He’s going to get what’s coming to him inside Hell in a Cell. Honestly, I don’t even see why Baldy is even in this title match to begin with. He just came back and now he thinks he can leave as Answers World Champion. Not gonna happen.
Deadprez: Elite might have something different to say about that. This is his first official match in EAW since back in November. He looks more hungry than ever to become World Champion again and it could very well happen at Reasonable Doubt.
Eve: But first he has to make it through this tag team match. The last person he wants to work with right now is the man who is about to make his way to the ring in just a moment.
(Chris slowly enters the ring and keeps his eyes on his opposition as his entrance music goes off. Seconds later, ‘WAR’ by grandson starts playing throughout the arena as the Answers World Champion Jake Smith enters the ring to cheers from the crowd. He holds the Answers World Championship in the air for a brief moment before heading to the ring.)
Gina Romano: Introducing his tag team partner! From Atherton, California! Weighing in at 210 pounds. Here is “THE PROCESS” and the reigning EAW ANSWERS WORLD CHAMPION JAKE SMITH!!
Eve: Here comes the Answers World Champion for tag team action. In about two weeks, he will be going into probably the most dangerous match of his young reign as he has to defend the title within the Armageddon Hell in a Cell.
Impact: This little snot has to be the luckiest person right now. If it wasn’t for Elite kicking me in the face, that title would be mine. You better believe I won’t let it happen again. That title is mine and I am going to send him back to the merry-go-round where he belongs.
Gavin Kirkland: The relationship between Chris and Jake can be called tumultuous at best ever since they lost the Tag Team Titles. Even though it was Elite’s kick that possibly saved his title reign a few weeks ago. Jake thinks Chris Elite is jealous of Jake’s success and rise to the top.
Deadprez: Chris Elite called it the wrong place and wrong time for Impact. Both challengers want to take home the gold, but Jake isn’t going to let his title go away that easy. Jake might not like the match he has to defend in, but the challenge for tonight is to try and put away whatever bad blood there is between him and Elite. If not, then this match will be easy pickings for their opponents. Who’s going to walk away victorious? We’re about to find out now.
(Jake enters the ring and holds his title up in the air once again before handing it to Gina Romano and his entrance music goes off. Chris and Jake look at each other indifferently as the referee checks all the competitors before calling for the bell.)

Deadprez: Bell has rung and we are underway. Tag team main event underway. It looks like Chris Elite is allowing Jake Smith to start after a small bicker session. No bickering from the opposition as it is Ryan Joseph Wilson who will start off this match.
Impact: I’m enjoying this match already. The match has only been going on for ten seconds and these two are already getting annoyed at each other. Thanks to me, this match is not going to last long at this rate.
Eve: Impact might be right, but we will see if it comes true as the Answers World Champion locks up with Ryan Joseph Wilson. We have a brief standoff, but it’s Ryan who gets the early advantage with a side headlock on Jake Smith.
Gavin Kirkland: Ryan quickly lets the headlock go, BUT RYAN WITH AN ELBOW TO THE BASE OF JAKE’S SKULL! THE POINT OF THE ELBOW SENDS JAKE TO A KNEE! Ryan with a forearm sends Jake staggering to the ropes.
Eve: Repeated forearms get Jake on the ropes. Ryan with an Irish whip, BUT JAKE REVERSES SENDING WILSON FOR THE RIDE! Ryan rebounds AND JAKE WITH A CLOTHESLINE, BUT RYAN AVOIDS IT!
Gavin Kirkland: Wilson quickly changes course and grabs Jake’s hair AND BRINGS HIM DOWN FOR A BACKBREAKER! POINT OF THE KNEE ALONG JAKE’S SPINE!
Impact: Jake better get used to feeling like this because in a few weeks, he is going to be feeling so much worse in that cell. This is just a very small taste. I’ll do so much more than he could imagine.
Deadprez: Ryan mounts Jake and he is just clobbering Jake with those MMA style shots to the face. Jake is blocking as best as he can, but a few shots are finding their mark. The referee tells him to open up the fists and he does.
Eve: Ryan in firm control for his team as he whips Jake into the ropes. RYAN WITH A CLOTHESLINE IN THE CORNER AS HE TAGS IN XANDER PAYNE!

Gavin Kirkland: Here comes the heavy hitter of the team in Xander Payne into the ring. Ryan gets on the apron and pulls Jake’s arms back. Xander backs up and runs full speed AND XANDER WITH A SPLASH TO JAKE IN THE CORNER!
Deadprez: Nice double team move by Wilson and Payne as Jake falls in a heap to the mat. Xander wastes no time in the attack AND XANDER DROPS AN ELBOW INTO JAKE’S SHOULDER BLADES!!
Impact: Lardo better not break his back. I don’t want the little rat to have to forfeit the title. I wanna take it from him. But Jake is getting everything that he deserves.
Eve: Eloquent statement from Impact, but Xander pulls Jake up by the hair AND XANDER JUST FLINGS HIM LIKE A FRISBEE HALFWAY ACROSS THE RING! JAKE CRASHES AND BURNS ON THE MAT!
Gavin Kirkland: Xander doing everything he can to weaken the World Champion. More for the case of getting prepared for Soul Food Sunday at Reasonable Doubt. If they win this match, Xander and Ryan could put themselves in a good position to bring the Tag Titles to Showdown.
Eve: They are off to a good start since their opponents haven’t really got out of the starting gate in this match even though there has only been one person in at the moment.
Impact: I take credit for that. Their lack of trust towards each other is all because of me. It started at King of Elite and it’s going to end at Reasonable Doubt. I’m in both of their heads right now and it puts a smile on my face.
Gavin Kirkland: Jake has made it back to his feet AND XANDER PAYNE WITH A STIFF FOREARM SMASH TO THE FACE! JAKE SENT BACK INTO THE CORNER! Xander pushes Jake’s head back–
Deadprez: XANDER WENT FOR ONE OF THOSE KNIFE EDGE CHOPS, BUT JAKE DUCKS DOWN AND SLIDES UNDER XANDER AND JAKE IS LOOKING FOR A SUNSET FLIP BUT XANDER ISN’T BUDGING!
Eve: XANDER TRIES TO DROP DOWN AND SIT ON JAKE, BUT JAKE ROLLS OUT OF THE WAY AND XANDER CRASHES AND BURNS ONTO THE MAT! NOT A PRETTY LANDING!
Impact: With that big of a target, how could Xander miss. Good gawd. Better check the Richter Scale and that part of the ring because he might have caved it in. Stop missing him, stupid!
Gavin Kirkland: Jake is back to his feet and he hits the ropes before coming back AND HITTING A DROPKICK TO THE BACK OF XANDER’S NECK! Xander is still up, so Jake hits the ropes on the other side AND CATCHES HIM WITH A SHINING WIZARD TO THE FACE!
Deadprez: That sends Xander all the way down and Jake has a hold of Xander. He is looking to tag in Chris Elite, but Chris isn’t feeling the same way.
Jake Smith: (off-mic) Come on! Tag in!
Chris Elite: (off-mic) You have this. I’m just jealous of you, remember?
Jake Smith: (off-mic) Now is not the time for this. Just tag in.

Eve: JAKE HAS HAD ENOUGH OF THAT! HE SLAPS ELITE’S SHOULDER AND ELITE IS OFFICIALLY IN THIS MATCH! Elite glares at Jake as he springs up to the top rope AND DROPS THE LEG ACROSS XANDER’S THROAT! ELITE QUICKLY SCRAMBLES AND HOOKS THE LEG FOR THE COVER!

Gavin Kirkland: XANDER POWERS OUT AT TWO! Elite grabs Xander into a headlock and JUST STARTS POUNDING HIS FISTS INTO XANDER’S SKULL! THE REFEREE IMMEDIATELY TELLS ELITE TO STOP BEFORE STARTING THE COUNT!
Impact: There’s no doubt that when he’s punching Xander, he’s thinking about Jake or me and it’s driving him to the point of rage and I am loving every second of it. It’s that rage that’s gonna cost him his shot at the title. Let them fight amongst each other.
Eve: Elite opens up his fist at four to prevent disqualification. But from the look on his face, Chris Elite is not happy at all. Elite brings Xander to his feet AND JUST SLAPS XANDER ACROSS THE FACE! Elite calls that “I’ll Smack the Sh… Crap Out of You” and that might have loosened a molar or two.
Gavin Kirkland: Xander fires back WITH A HEADBUTT RIGHT TO THE NOSE AND THAT SEND ELITE BACK A LITTLE BIT! Xander turns Elite around and lifts him up before DROPPING CHRIS ELITE WITH A GERMAN SUPLEX!
Deadprez: Elite dropped on the back of his head and Xander gets back to his feet. Elite gets no chance for recovery as Xander grabs him by the back of the tights and runs full speed to Jake AND XANDER USES ELITE AS A BATTERING RAM AND SPEARS HIM INTO JAKE!
Eve: JAKE KNOCKED RIGHT OFF THE APRON TO THE FLOOR! Xander still has a hold of Elite and this time he runs towards his own corner AND ELITE SENT SHOULDER FIRST INTO THE RINGPOST!
Impact: Tonight, the ringpost. In two weeks, any part of the cell that I see fit. When all is said and done, they can both thank me as they get wheeled from the cell in stretchers. Just take the title from him now.
Gavin Kirkland: Right now, Elite is up close and personal with the ringpost as Xander reaches out and tags Ryan Joseph Wilson back into the match.

Gavin Kirkland: SUBMISSION MOVE APPLIED AND RYAN IS WRENCHING ON ELITE’S HEAD AND NECK! The referee is checking to see if Elite wants to give it up.
Impact: If you ask me, I really don’t care who wins as long as Baldy and the Munchkin get the crap beat out of them and they go into Reasonable Doubt feeling hurt and sore.
Deadprez: The referee is still asking if Chris wants to give it up, but we know that Chris Elite and submitting are not in the same sentence, much less the same book. Elite is trying to find the fire to get out of this Camel Clutch, but it is in pretty tight–

Deadprez: Jake Smith tags himself back into the match and Elite is looking at Jake wondering what in the world is going on. Once again, Elite does not look happy at all.

Jake Smith: (off-mic) I’m not talking about this right now. Just roll out of the ring and let me beat the crap out of this ginger hobo.

Eve: These two have not got along AT ALL since the bell rang and they both look like they wanna punch each other in the face. They just need to hold their temper for a little while longer and wait for Reasonable Doubt.
Impact: This is great watching these two having temper tantrums against each other while I am sitting here letting everything just implode. It’ll make things easier for me when they take each other out.
Gavin Kirkland: At this rate, it might be the future, but Jake will do everything he can in a match that he hates to keep the Answers World Championship around his waist. Elite wants nothing more than to make his comeback hit the jackpot by becoming World Champion once more.

Deadprez: For the first time in this match, the team of Elite and Smith have the match in their control and are building some momentum. Jake takes the time to back up as Ryan tries to make it back to his feet.
Impact: It’s about time that these two did something right. Better late than never, I guess for those two morons. But when it comes to me, they are both TOO LITTLE and TOO LATE! That title is mine. The match is just a formality.

Eve: WHAT AN UGLY LANDING FOR JAKE! But Xander doesn’t care. Xander uses the hair to bring Jake once again back to his feet and shoves him into the corner AND OH MY GOSH! WHAT A CHOP FROM XANDER PAYNE! AND ANOTHER! AND ANOTHER CHOP FROM XANDER!
Impact: Probably caved his chest in. Little boy doesn’t really have a lot of muscle to cushion that shot. But a chop from him will feel like a picnic when I get my hands on him. He will be BEGGING for chops when all is said and done.
Gavin Kirkland: Look at Jake’s face. He is in pain after the MACHINE GUN CHOPS from Xander Payne. Jake’s chest is red from all those chops. Jake is limp in the corner as Xander backs up.
Deadprez: Xander runs full speed into the corner AND CATCHES JAKE IN THE FACE WITH A RUNNING SHOTGUN DROPKICK AND JAKE TOOK ALL OF THAT DAMAGE HEAD ON… no pun intended.
Eve: Jake starts to fall to the mat, but Xander yanks him back up by the wrist. Xander picks Jake up AND PLANTS HIM WITH THE “DAWNBREAKER”! BEAUTIFUL SAITO SUPLEX FROM XANDER PAYNE AND HE GOES RIGHT TO THE COVER! WILL THIS BE ENOUGH?

Gavin Kirkland: WHAT THE HECK! CHRIS ELITE BROKE UP THE COVER! Oh wow. This is an interesting turn of events. This match could have been over, but Chris keeps the match alive.
Impact: Maybe he wants the satisfaction of beating Jake Smith. Sadly for him, he won’t get it either because that honor belongs to me and Chris Elite isn’t going to prevent me from getting the title back this time around.
Deadprez: Chris gets out of the ring and Xander didn’t like that one bit. He shoots an evil glare towards Chris and motions for him to watch and see what’s going to happen next.
Eve: Xander pulls Jake up to his feet and whips him to the ropes. Xander puts his head down as Jake rebounds AND JAKE WITH A BOOT TO XANDER’S FACE! XANDER FLUNG BACK AS JAKE LEAP FROGS OVER XANDER AND TRIES TO LOCK IN A SLEEPER HOLD!
Impact: Leave it to Xander to screw up and get himself into a situation like that. Now the walrus is fading. Don’t lose to that.
Gavin Kirkland: But Xander is too powerful at the moment as he backs Jake up and crushes him in the corner. Xander again yanks him out of the corner and whips him to the ropes. Jake comes back and Xander lifts him up–

Deadprez: What a match! What a hard fought match between these two teams. It’s just unfortunate that the ending of the match had funny business that led to this result.
(The referee raises the arms of Xander and Ryan in victory as the Canadian crowd goes absolutely crazy in cheers that their Canadian brethren have won this match. Impact is standing outside the ring with an amused look on his face and Chris Elite looks annoyed and enters the ring as the winning team leaves the ring.)
Eve: As you can hear, the fans in Calgary are completely fine with this result. It is the Canadian duo of Payne and Wilson who pick up a huge victory here on Showdown. But can you really blame them?
Gavin Kirkland: Honestly I wouldn’t. For once, they didn’t do anything wrong. It was Impact that ran the interference that caused the final implosion of Elite and Smith. They just used the situation to their advantage to pick up the victory.
Deadprez: You got to give Elite and Jake a lot of credit. Even though they really didn’t get along most of the match, there were brief moments of the former Haircare Kings that shone through. They fought hard, but this match belongs to the team of Payne and Wilson. Congrats to th… WAIT A SECOND!
(Chris was glaring up the entrance ramp at Xander and Ryan, but he has no idea that Impact has rolled back into the ring with the Answers World Championship belt in his hand….)
Gavin Kirkland: GOOD GAWD!! IMPACT JUST CLOCKED ELITE IN THE BACK OF THE HEAD WITH THE CHAMPIONSHIP BELT! ELITE IS DOWN AND IMPACT IS THROWING LEFTS AND RIGHTS BEATING THE TAR OUT OF IMPACT!
Eve: THE REFEREE IS TRYING TO STOP IMPACT, BUT IMPACT HAS HAD IT! IMPACT WANTED WHAT WAS LEFT AND HE’S GOT IT! IMPACT IS STILL PUNCHING ELITE IN THE HEAD!
Deadprez: CHRIS ELITE LOOKS TO BE BARELY MOVING AFTER THE TITLE SHOT TO THE HEAD, BUT IMPACT DOESN’T CARE! IMPACT YANKS ELITE BACK TO HIS FEET! ELITE IS ON DREAM STREET RIGHT NOW AS IMPACT DROPS ELITE WITH “EVISCERATION”! FACEBREAKER BY IMPACT AND ELITE IS OUT AS WELL!!
(Impact gets back to his feet and walks over to the Answers World Championship belt. He picks it up and holds it high in the air as boos radiate from all over the arena.)
Eve: Look at Impact. He did his dirty deed by taking down Chris Elite and Jake Smith and now he holds up Jake’s Answers World Championship. He feels that the championship is about to be his once more. At Reasonable Doubt, there will be no disqualifications to hinder his chances.
Deadprez: Impact has made his point loud and clear! He is going to become #11Reignz by any means necessary at Reasonable Doubt and tonight might have been just the beginning.
