Showdown 11/05/22

[SCREENBAR – The Walt Disney Company Corporate Headquarters
Orlando, Florida. November 2nd, 11:30am]

( Our scene begins inside an office setting, executive suits situated around an oval table with their attention turned toward the front. The camera settles in on Stan Bailey, auditor and representative for The Walt Disney Company who has been tracking Saturday Night Showdown’s progress over the last six-or-so weeks. It has been a turbulent time for “The Blue Brand” under Stan’s observation. To dub what he has witnessed as progress would be unwise and comical. Now the time has come to present his findings to the Board of Directors and highlight the positives, as well as the negatives, of the brand’s output under Hurricane Hawk and Heidi Huxley’s reign. Among those in attendance, we have Blake Morrison, Claire Starks and Hunter Wilson, all prominent names within The Walt Disney Company hierarchy who maintain an interest in Elite Answers Wrestling’s continued development. Stan Bailey composes himself and begins to address the high-power individuals seated in the office. )

Stan Bailey: As you all know, I recently conducted an investigation into Saturday Night Showdown’s handling under the collaborative leadership of Heidi Huxley and the brand’s now former general manager, Hurricane Hawk. Today, I’ll be presenting my findings as well as taking questions for potential changes heading into Road to Redemption. Obviously, given the happenings at No Regards, there’s an urgent need to overview these occurrences and what led to Hurricane Hawk’s dismissal from his role. So, let’s begin from the top.

( With a click of the remote situated in his hand, the presentation that Stan Bailey has put together shifts over to the next slide. Stan clears his throat and continues to speak. )

Stan Bailey: Initially, I found that Hurricane Hawk and Heidi Huxley worked well together when making decisions. Over time, what became prominent is their different approaches to uprising issues that come hand-in-hand with professional wrestling. Hurricane Hawk was too lax for his role and was lenient when it came to decision making on potential punishments. Heidi meanwhile had a more strict, disciplinarian approach. However, what was evident to me was that Heidi wasn’t willing to jeopardize the partnership the two had formed. She wanted to give Hurricane Hawk a chance, but the situation spilled over and at No Regards, her hand was forced into making actions that led to Hurricane Hawk losing his position.

Stan Bailey: Hurricane Hawk’s refusal to put his foot down led to a situation where the inmates were running the asylum, no stronger than Impact, the Answers World champion and the woman that he teamed with at No Regards, Kassidy Heart. Their collective efforts without rebuttal have spear-headed Showdown’s constant violence, unpredictability and multiple infractions of which go against The Walt Disney Company’s ethics and principles. However, the main problems resided with Hurricane Hawk. He sat back and allowed these transgressions to occur. Let’s not blame the victims of a system that hosts no retaliation. The fault does not lie with the talents of Showdown, but with the ringmaster not enforcing The Walt Disney Company’s principles. So, I do not blame Heidi Huxley for doing what she did at No Regards.

( Another click of the remote, we see a brief video showing Heidi Huxley low-blowing both Alex Myers and Jack Ripley. Following this, she throws Alex Myers into Kassidy Heart’s clutches where she would lock the former New Breed champion into the Kassible Lecter. )

Stan Bailey: Showdown was on the precipice of becoming unsalvageable. While Heidi’s actions were controversial, it’s important to note she was put under an immense amount of stress and had to take on extra responsibilities given Hurricane Hawk’s general negligence. Had Alex Myers and Jack Ripley won in the main event of No Regards, Hurricane Hawk’s position would have been saved and I’d have an entirely different presentation, and opinion, of what the best step forward is as we prepare for the Road to Redemption Free-Per-View.

Stan Bailey: In my opinion, Heidi Huxley should be allowed an appropriate amount of time to put into position a new general manager. What she did was in our best interests and could lead to a Showdown that better exhibits The Walt Disney Company and its philosophies. The brand had grown into a world of outlaws, a desert of unfairness under Hurricane Hawk. While Heidi’s action and No Regards’ main event generally drew negative attention, I believe she’s the best woman to salvage the brand now that her partnership with Hurricane Hawk has dissolved.

( Those in the boardroom are all seemingly in agreement, the odd comment audible through murmurs and grunts of approval. However, one woman stands and begins to question Stan’s opinion as well as Heidi Huxley’s management skills. It’s Claire Starks, she has an expressionless face while addressing Stan in a blunt, cold-as-ice tone. )

Claire Starks: I’m not so sure that I agree with your assessment at all, Stan. While I appreciate the situation that Heidi was put under, she shouldn’t have gotten herself involved physically with the talent of Elite Answers Wrestling. Better methods exist to serve as a means to an end and Hurricane Hawk could have been removed from his position without the need for Heidi to get into the ring. It goes against the principles of The Walt Disney Company and I’m unsure if she is fit to continue in the role that she’s been assigned because of what happened at No Regards.

Stan Bailey: I can understand that, but I think Heidi also demonstrated initiative. Had the duo of Jack Ripley and Alex Myers been successful, we would still be here discussing everything that has been wrong with Showdown so far this season. We’d also I am sure have an irate Impact and Kassidy Heart to deal with, also. The task of removing Hurricane Hawk would have been made much, much harder had Heidi not have acted. So I can appreciate that, although I agree she perhaps didn’t follow the principles that this company sets out, I still maintain what she did was in our best interests long-term.

( Stan’s gaze flickers from Claire’s to an individual who has walked in the door. Speaking of the woman, it’s Heidi Huxley! Heidi has made the trip from “The Land Down Under” to Orlando, Florida. The dedication! She seems to have caught onto what Claire Starks and Stan Bailey had said. Claire sits down and Stan’s expression is muddled with confusion. Why has Heidi bothered to make this trip, for her services will be needed in three days time at Showdown. )

Heidi Huxley: The concerns people are voicing are fair. I’d like the chance to add my own opinions into the mix. Thing is, what differentiates the people in this room from me is you only see what’s shown on television. Elite Answers Wrestling, Saturday Night Showdown, it’s more than just one show, one night, one week. I’ve spent far more time off-camera talking with Hurricane Hawk and pleading with him, begging him to bring the hammer down and show some backbone in relation to how he ran the show. He didn’t concede, he didn’t listen and what you saw happen at No Regards, it was a situation he put himself in.

Heidi Huxley: I did what was necessary and I did what was best for business. Hurricane Hawk was never going to change and the issues that plagued Showdown would have only been amplified had Jack Ripley or Alex Myers walked from No Regards as champion. Hawk wouldn’t have been able to console Kassidy or Impact, their reign of terror, the violence and brawling that you all claim to dislike, would have been much more prominent as we approach Road to Redemption. I did what I did to salvage what little hope Showdown had left.

Heidi Huxley: This wasn’t a heat-of-the-moment thing, but my actions were a result of months of begging and pleading with Hawk, for him to control his roster. Look, I have my fair share of ideas and a vision I want to see for Showdown. The main issue, the thing you’re all unhappy about went at No Regards. I have an idea of who can replace Hurricane Hawk. They’re firmer, they’ll get a handle on these wrestlers who think the world is their oyster.

( We cut to the faces of the board of directors. Their expressions are mixed. Some are in agreement with what Heidi is saying. Some however, are not and both Heidi and Stan pick up on the tension in the room. Heidi, smartly, offers up an ultimatum. )

Heidi Huxley: I can see that some of you are conflicted. Give me until the end of the year. Give me the chance to implement a new general manager and turn the ship around. I’ll even do it tonight! I have someone in mind who will fill that spot perfectly. If things don’t work out? I’ll wash my hands of Showdown entirely and you can fill in the vacancy yourselves. I will resign altogether. I will prove to you that I am not the problem, that Hurricane Hawk was. Give me a chance to turn things around and capitalize on this new momentum that we have now Hawk is gone and make Showdown the best show of the lot.

( This time, those in attendance seem to have a more positive opinion of Heidi’s proposal. Save for Claire Starks, the board unanimously agrees that Heidi should be given until the end of the year to prove herself and turn Saturday Night Showdown around. The first step will seemingly be to appoint a new general manager, a step that Heidi just claimed will be handled on this broadcast! As Heidi and Stan walk out of the office room, Heidi smiles at Stan before giving him a brief wink. Heidi giggles, swiveling on heels and walking off. Cameras cut to Stan, a heavy blush addressing his cheeks. The scene slowly fades out from here. )

(EAW Intro plays…)

(RECAP–The recap gives a replay of all the entertaining action that Showdown provided last week for the No Regards event from the Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney, Australia. The opening contest was the Battle of the Haircare Kings where Jake Smith defeated Chris Elite. After the match, Jake offers a handshake, but Chris rejects it and storms out of the ring. The next match was the special Gauntlet match involving Abel Atami, Komatsu Ogawa, Lucas Johnson, Major Scotty Conner, Hunnid Honcho, and Lila Vandran. The final decision saw Abel Atami pin Hunnid Honcho after Hunnid was attacked by Ogawa to win the match. Backstage, Stan Baylor is talking about his report and Hurricane Hawk is watching the show. Hawk later says what happened to Heidi wasn’t his fault. Veena later butts in being a pain to Hawk and making measurements for her new office which enrages Hawk to the point that he throws everybody out of his office. The next match has Donovan Duke defending his National Elite Championship against Harley Lewis. Harley thought he won the title, but a rope break stopped that and eventually led to Donovan retaining his title. The next match was Veena Adams winning a triple threat match against Lexi and Holly Arrow when Veena pinned Lexi.

(The recap continues as Xander Payne defeats Ryan Wilson in a very hard fought Best of the World challenge match. After the match, Xander offers a handshake to Ryan, who accepts the offer. In the ring, Harper Lee tries to talk to the crowd, but the words don’t come at first. Then Harper says that she is not happy that Sienna Jade got the title shot the way she did. Then Mary S. Atlas comes out and tries to light a fire under Harper by challenging her to match. Next, Adam Lucas was able to pick up the win over Jon Kelton in a 2 out of three falls match with a score of 2-1 with his rarely used Next Level maneuver. Finally, in the main event, Impact teamed with Kassidy Heart to defend the Answers World Championship against Jack Ripley and Alex Myers, who were defending Hurricane Hawk’s job, in the special Outback Brawl match. Both teams fought hard for their causes. The challengers were on the verge of victory, but Jack pulled Alex off of the cover. It just dissolved from there with Heidi surprisingly showing up before shocking everyone by turning her back on Jack and Alex before Jack completely turns his back on the match and leaves, which leads to Alex getting a fireball to the face and getting choked out by Kassidy, ending the match and ending Hawk’s run as Showdown GM. The final shot shows Impact, Kassidy, and Heidi laughing at Hawk’s expense as the recap ends…)

(“Brick Wall” by A Day to Remember starts to play throughout the arena while the camera pans across this sold out crowd, who are all on their feet as they are all ready for the action of Saturday Night Showdown to begin. The sound is almost deafening in the arena here tonight as the camera slowly goes throughout the arena showing all the loyal and devoted EAW fans in attendance that are all through sold out arena holding up their many many signs and wearing the shirts and other merchandise of the EAW Elitists love and support the most before settling down at ringside where Eve, Deadprez, and Gavin Kirkland are sitting at the commentary table before they start to call all the amazing Showdown action.)

Deadprez: Disney certainly had a lot to

say to kick off the show, but the show must go on. Ladies and gentlemen! Welcome to the most exciting brand EAW has to offer. This is SATURDAY! NIGHT! SHOWDOWN! Thank you all so much for being with us tonight in the great Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne, Australia. I am Deadprez and alongside the energetic Gavin Kirkland and the lovely Eve, we will be calling all the action that the blue brand will no doubt provide.

Gavin Kirkland: Of course! That’s because we are on the way to Road to Redemption and thanks to what happened at No Regards, we are heading into a new era of Showdown without Hurricane and it’s all because of that traitor Jack Ripley. There’s no doubt we will be hearing about why he did what he did. He needs to because Jack has some splainin to do.

Eve: We will get that tonight and we were informed that Mikaela Street will have an exclusive interview as she sits down with the individual that Jack also screwed over in Alex Myers. That’s coming later tonight.

Deadprez: That will be emotional to say the least. We will also be hearing from the likes of Adam Lucas, Roberto De La Rosa, Harley Lewis, and many others. Gavin talked about it earlier, but Hurricane Hawk is no longer the GM of Showdown and we wish him all the best. With that being said, we have to wonder if we will find out who will be the new GM of Showdown tonight. That’s still to come.

Gavin Kirkland: MATCHES, PREZ! We can’t forget about the MATCHES!! At No Regards, Hurricane Hawk announced there will be a Contenders Championship Scramble Match in the future. Veena Adams already qualified but we will see another person qualify tonight. Triple threat match with Lucas Johnson taking on both Hunnid Honcho and Major Scotty Conner. Will Lucas start his climb back up the ladder with a win tonight? Will Hunnid get the win tonight after he should have had at No Regards? Or will the Major deliver a military level thrashing to the competition on his way to the biggest win of his career? That’s still to come.

Eve: That isn’t the only qualifying action we will have tonight. Tonight, we find out 2 of the participants in Showdown’s Elimination Chamber match. First, we have teammates colliding as Ryan Wilson takes on the tough Lexi. We also have the self professed “Best in the World” Xander Payne taking on the Triangle of Terror’s Komatsu Ogawa. Can Ogawa pick up the biggest win of his career or will Xander once again show why he has credibility with his best in the world claims.

Deadprez: That’s already going to make an exciting show, but we still have matches left. This match stems from a challenge at No Regards and it is official. The up and coming Mary S. Atlas takes on former Universal Women’s Champion Harper Lee. This will be a great match. In our main event tonight, we have Jack Ripley taking on Chris Elite. What a match that will be. It could easily be the main event of an FPV show. That’s later tonight, but right now, let’s take it to Gina Romano to make the introductions for our opening contest.

(The camera cuts to Gina Romano, who is in the ring with a microphone in hand, ready to make the introductions for the opening match on Showdown.)

(‘Ready To Die’ by Notorious B.I.G. hits as the crowd gives a negative reaction to Lucas Johnson who comes out with a serious look on his face. Johnson looking to prove himself and it sells all in his eyes, Lucas slides into the ring and awaits his opponents.)

Eve: Lucas didn’t win at No Regards and that may not have been surprising. Though he did put up a valiant effort.

(‘Sweet Emotion’ by Aerosmith begins blasting throughout the arena as Major Michael Scott comes out with a grin on his face, the crowd is mixed on receptiveness towards him. He begins marching down the rampway making his way to the ring…)

Gavin Kirkland: Now this guy did impress for sure!

Deadprez: I have to agree at No Regards he showed the world he’s got a lot to offer!

(‘No Auto’ by Lil Durk plays as the crowd for the most part begins cheering with some boo’s sprinkled in, Honcho begins frolicking around the stage with a huge smile dancing around. Hunnid makes his way down the rampway yelling at fans to buy his new mixtape before sliding in the ring.)

Eve: A rollercoaster of emotions No Regards was for Hunnid. He did very well but sadly the fan favorite couldn’t capitalize.

Deadprez: You’re right about that, this guy is a beast and tonight? I could very much see him walking out the winner.

(DING! DING! DING!)

Eve: This match has officially begun as Hunnid now makes his way to the middle of the ring between both opponents. Hunnid looks at both of his opponents Lucas Johnson and Major Scott, as they both run at Honcho! They’re throwing wild strikes trying to take the big man down which they do! Hunnid falls down onto one knee, BUT!—- LOOK AT THIS HUNNID MANAGES TO PUSH BOTH MEN OFF OF HIM!

Gavin Kirkland: I wish I was that big, Hunnid now however turns his attention to Lucas Johnson as he gets back onto his feet, CLOTHESLINE! Lucas rolls himself out of the ring— And Honcho turns around looking to deliver the same to Major! But No! Major ducks down and Honcho turns around and is met with a sick jab! Hunnid’s head turns almost with a three-sixty!!! Major makes his way behind Honcho, he’s looking to lift ‘Lyrical Miracle’ up and off his feet!—

Deadprez: OH MY! HOW THE ABSOLUTE DISNEY DID THIS MAN DO THAT! THREE HUNDRED AND FORTY POUNDS GERMAN SUPLEXED ONTO THE MAT!— The Major gets back up onto his feet and he’s eating, this man is feeling himself! You don’t typically see this from Major but he seems to have made himself proud but he shouldn’t lollygag around for long, as Lucas has gotten himself back into the ring!

Eve: Major has also got his back turned off and that’s not smart— as Lucas quickly takes advantage as Major turns around and is met with a Superkick to the gut— And another Superkick to the face! Major doesn’t fall however as he almost looks like he will but Michael looks back at Lucas Johnson who delivers another nasty Superkick! Michael falls down like he’s been hit with a knockout blow! Lucas now looking down at Michael who is laid out flat on his back— LUCAS WITH A STANDING MOONSAULT AND IT CONNECTS!—

Gavin Kirkland: Lucas Johnson looks for the cover!

ON…..

Gavin Kirkland: Not even a one count as Hunnid Honcho welcomes himself back into this thing and lifts Lucas up with ONE ARM BY THE TIGHTS! Hunnid stands Lucas up and takes him down with a URANAGE—! Honcho immediately back up to his feet after the Uranage— Michael getting back to his feet slowly but not quick enough to avoid an attack from Hunnid who slams his fists onto Michael’s back!

Deadprez: You’re mickin’ right he does and that doesn’t look like it feels good either! Honcho grabs a handful of hair as he lifts Major up with almost no problems— Hunnid gets Michael up on his shoulder, maybe looking for the Military Press Slam he’s known so well for but— Major starts driving elbows into the neck of Honcho! At least three elbows are driven into his neck and Major manages to get himself free from the grasps of Honcho!

Eve: Michael makes some distance with himself and Honcho, before running back-up with a huge wave of momentum— BICYCLE KNEE STRIKE! Hunnid doesn’t fall however, Lucas Johnson who’s been recovering has managed to get back up and Lucas looks to one up Michael— As he hits Honcho with his own Bicycle Knee Strike! This time Hunnid falls down like a block of concrete onto the mat!

Gavin Kirkland: Yeah but Michael doesn’t seem to have taken the blatant disrespect lightly as he turns Lucas around to look at him! Now both men start throwing punches at one another like mad men! Michael gets the advantage as he gets a lucky knee up and slams it into the stomach of Johnson before lifting him up and taking him off his feet with a Suplex!!! Michael not letting go of that Suplex hold as he turns around on the ground and uses nothing but strength and might to do it again….—-

Deadprez: WAIT!— Michael does manage to get back up to his feet with Lucas— MICHAEL KEEPS LUCAS IN THE AIR!!! A STALLING SUPLEX AS MICHAEL IS MARCHING AROUND THE RING WITH LUCAS LIFTED IN THE AIR— AND FINALLY MICHAEL NAILS THE SUPLEX! Wow! Michael showed incredible strength and talent with that Stalling Suplex! Michael turns his attention to Hunnid now who’s using the ropes to lift himself onto his feet— Michael runs over with a Big Boot! That completely misses because Hunnid moves out of the way.

Eve: Major gets his leg stuck between the ropes just enough to give Hunnid some wiggle room time to grab Major by his head, both hands squeezing the skull of Michael. Honcho frees the leg of Michael before Biel throws him across the ring like a ragdoll and nothing more! Man, can we talk about how great Hunnid is? This guy has been using grit his entire stay here in EAW!

Gavin Kirkland: Michael gets back up to his feet after the Biel Throw and backs up into the corner… Hunnid stalking him waiting for his time looks like he’s ready to strike! HONCHO RUNS AT MAJOR AND CRUSHES HIM WITH A RUNNING SPLASH INTO THE CORNER!!! Michael collapses to the ground and Hunnid drags him towards the middle of the ring— Hunnid bounces off the ropes looking for the running senton that he calls ‘Chicago Nights!’ It hits and a cover!

ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

Deadprez: Lucas Johnson breaking the pinfall up with a HUGE BASEBALL SLIDE THAT’S JUST ENOUGH TO GET THE BIG MAN OFF OF MAJOR! Lucas starts raining down punches on Hunnid who’s rolled off of Major! Lucas starts with MMA Styled Elbows to Honcho who’s trying to avoid them! Lucas manages to shift his weight off of Hunnid without getting hit and he’s locked in an Armbar! Lucas Johnson has an armbar locked in and Hunnid has no clue what to do! Honcho is flailing his free arm but he’s in the middle of the ring!

Eve: He is and that’s his own fault— Hunnid is digging deep and you can tell as his face only grows more and more red by the second! Honcho uses the free arm to begin lifting himself off the mat and the entrapped arm is lifting Lucas up in the air as he still has the Armbar locked in— POWERBOMB! OH MY GOD! Hunnid Honcho has just picked up Lucas while an armbar was locked on and slammed him down onto the mat!

Hunnid Honcho (Off-Mic): YEAH YEAH YEAH! WHO YO DADDY IS LUCAS?!

Gavin Kirkland: Apparently Honcho wants to be the daddy of Lucas Johnson as he rolls out of the ring leaving Lucas in the ring down and out with a Michael Scott who’s in the corner of the ring trying to get his brain back into things. Hunnid lifts up the apron cover, what is he looking for? This is a PG Show! Weapons aren’t allowed, I mean they are technically but Honcho stop this! Hunnid brings out a Kendo Stick! Hey! Don’t use that!

Deadprez: It’s well within his right to use it and I wanna see it! Hunnid is gonna kick their behinds, as he rolls back into the ring with a Major getting back up to his feet! Major tries to run at Hunnid but gets a Kendo Stick slammed across his chest! Hunnid turns his attention to Lucas who’s on his fours trying to get back up— AND HUNNID WITH A WICKED STRIKE THAT BREAKS THE KENDO IN HALF OVER THE BACK OF LUCAS!

Eve: Wowza! Lucas Johnson screams out in pain as he rolls out to the ropes! Hunnid tosses the piece of the Kendo in his hand before turning around to Michael who he’s expected to be down but he’s up! Michael with multiple jabs to the jaw of Honcho trying to throw him off balance! Michael falls back into the ropes and bounces off using his momentum FOR A BIG BOOT! Hunnid with just such a huge size— not falling! How do you get this man to fall!

Gavin Kirkland: Ya don’t he’s too good! Or something… I can’t keep a straight opinion on this guy! :mjlol: what I do know is Michael starts hooking the arms of Hunnid looking for ‘TAPS’ MICHAEL JUMPS UP TO THE MIDDLE ROPE WITH HUNNIDs arms hooked and turns Michael around with a one eighty— THE LEAPING DOUBLE UNDERHOOK DDT ‘TAPS’ IS HIT! Michael is going for the cover. He’s trying to finish this match folks!!

ONEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

Deadprez: He got his shoulder up! Man oh man Hunnid is still going strong! This man will not give up and that’s what we love about ’em’!!! Michael stands up grabbing at the hairs on his head he’s trying to figure out what to do, Michael turns around to take a second but there is none he can take! OUT OF NOWHERE LUCAS JOHNSON INTRODUCES HIMSELF ONCE MORE WITH A ‘LIGHTSWITCH’ KICK! THIS MOVE HAS PUT AWAY MANY!

ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

Eve: Michael gets his shoulder up this time! Major is shook and Lucas Johnson is also for different reasons. Lucas lifts himself off the mat and starts turning Michael around, Lucas is trying to apply a SINGLE LEG BOSTON CRAB! And he does! He gets it locked in on Major Scott and Michael doesn’t know what to do, with nowhere to go! Michael is lifting his arm in the air. Is he going to tap out? Wait! Wait! Guys look he’s trying to push himself with all of his might towards the ropes… he’s trying and he’s getting close! Lucas lets go of the hold and drags him back to the middle though, NO!

Gavin Kirkland: The hold is re-applied by Johnson and Michael truly has nowhere to go! Look though— Hunnid Honcho gets up off his knees and lifts himself up with a tight grip on the top rope— HUNNID RUNS AND ‘CHICAGO NIGHTS’ SENTON ON MICHAEL WHAT THE HELL! That’s one way to make Lucas let go! Michael looks like a corpse in the ring as he rolls out and crashes on the unforgiving floor. Hunnid slowly gets up as Lucas tries to knock Hunnid down with a boot!

Deadprez: He can try! Hunnid is one step ahead though and catches the boot and pushes Lucas back who rolls backwards and back onto his feet! Johnson runs at Honcho who’s now standing again trying for a Lariat! Honcho cuts him off a kick to the stomach— GUTWRENCH SLAM TAKES LUCAS RIGHT OFF OF HIS FEET! Lucas doesn’t stay down for long though as he rolls off to the ropes and begins lifting himself up as Hunnid pounds his palm into his chest!!!

Eve: Hunnid is ready to end things and it’s growing more and more clear by the second. Lucas is dazed and begins walking towards ‘The Lyrical Miracle’ but it’s too late, Honcho is already rushing at Lucas ‘ HONCHO DELUXE’ THAT RUNNING TACKLE— HONCHO SHOULD BE A GOD DARN DEFENSIVE LINEMEN! Lucas flies like a child being tossed around on a mechanical bull!

Gavin Kirkland: A what…? What a weird expression Eve— nonetheless Honcho is going back over to Lucas it seems— And he lifts him up again… Lucas almost falls over in the meantime— dragging him by the neck to the middle of the ring, Johnson on spaghetti legs as Honcho legs go off Lucas and go off the ropes and rebound off a second ‘HONCHO DELUXE!!!’ LUCAS IS OUT OF IT HE FLIES ACROSS THE RING!

Deadprez: Honcho now… he’s looking up to the sky with a finger we all know what this means… Hunnid makes his way over to the closest turnbuckle to Lucas and starts scaling it! Honcho manages to balance himself just good enough on the top rope, ladies and gentlemen if you’ve never seen a Hunnid Honcho match watch greatness at bay!!— ‘Hip Hop Hippo Splash!!!!’ AND LUCAS YELLS OUT HOLDING HIS GUT! RIBS COULD BE BROKEN MAN! Hunnid slowly rolls Lucas towards the middle of the ring and starts going for the pinfall!!!— Wait No! Honcho stops in his tracks!

Eve: Yes he does and it’s because Michael rolls back into the ring! Honcho returns to his feet as Major starts rumbling back with a few punches to Hunnid! One is caught however and Honcho wraps his right arm around Major— AND A SPINEBUSTER WIPES THE FORMER MARINE OFF HIS FEET AND OUTTA THE RING!!!

Gavin Kirkland: It’s been a while since that devastating move from Hunnid… will he still try for a cover! No!? It looks like Hunnid has more planned as he grabs the arm of Johnson and drags him near the closest corner to them… Honcho turns his back to Lucas and begins climbing the ropes… but he stops on the middle rope… OH NO! ‘DOLLAS IN THE SKY’ A BANZAI DROP— LUCAS DOESN’T EVEN REACT HE’S BEATING A DEAD MAN AT THIS POINT!

Deadprez: And that counts for a cover as Honcho stays on top of Lucas this is a cover!!!!

ONEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

Eve: Is it all she wrote?

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!

(DING! DING! DING!)

Gina Romano: And here is your winner… ‘The Lyrical Miracle’ HUNNID HONCHOOOOOO!!!

(‘No Auto’ by Lil Durk hits as the crowd erupts in cheers for Honcho’s victory.)

Eve: That’s an unexpected reaction for Honcho!

Gavin Kirkland: Did they want Lucas Johnson to win? :mjlol:

Eve: Valid point Gavin.

Deadprez: That’s a sentence I didn’t expect to hear ever in my life, props to everyone in this bout though they all gave it something!

(Hunnid drops down and rolls out of the ring talking trash to Johnson the entire time slamming his fist onto his chest. Honcho makes his way up the rampway high-fiving some fans on his way out, leaving the scene of a victorious Hunnid Honcho as the camera fades to a commercial break…)

(We cut back to the arena after the commercial as ‘Blue World’ by Mac Miller hots, the crowd jumping to their feet in a chorus of boos.)

Deadprez: It looks like we are going to get a guest guys, and a very unpopular one at that.

Eve: Are you surprised? After leaving Alex Myers to the wolves in the way he did?

Gavin Kirkland: It really was a heinous act that should surely be punished

(Both Eve and Deadprez stare at Gavin in disbelief that he would say such a thing.)

Deadprez: You think? Jack Ripley cost Hurricane Hawk his job, the worst part of it is he knew that would be the ramifications of his actions. I just can’t believe that after everything he said in the build, and the show of unity he shared with Alex it would go this way.

(After leaving the fans hanging for a while, finally Jack Ripley walks out onto the ramp, already shaking his head at the reaction he is getting and exaggerating a rolling of the eyes. He ponders for a moment, a grin on his face as he slowly makes his way down to the ring, allowing the fans to have their say and obviously enjoying their ire. He reaches the ring and walks up the steps, pausing at the top to look out over the fans once more before then bending through the strands. He then walks across the ring to obtain a mic.)

Deadprez: Unbelievable noise in this arena right now, if Jack needed to know what the fans was thinking he’s got his wish.

Eve: Look, a lot of people know Hawk made mistakes, but he didn’t deserve what happened at No Regards. Some might say he put himself in that position, but after what Heidi did, bringing in Stan… can any of us really be surprised that he saw no other way out?

Gavin Kirkland: Hawk is a good man, he’ll bounce back. You two better be careful though, because we will have a new boss soon. I’ll be doing my best to show him I have Showdown in my blood

Eve: Kiss-assing you mean?

Gavin Kirkland: No Eve, being a professional.

Deadprez: Anyway, the music his fading, let’s see what Jack has to say for himself.

(Jack stands there for a few moments, taking in every reaction, every single boo and jeer. It seems like it may never die down, but eventually it does, at least enough for Jack to speak. He lifts the mic to his lips, and with very little emotion he starts to speak.)

Jack Ripley: Wow, you folks are angry right?

(Boos ring out again, Jack knowing that would happen and obviously playing to the crowd.)

Jack Ripley: Well, that may be the case, but I’m out here right now to tell you one thing. You’re directing your anger in totally the wrong direction. Was I the one dragging this brand into the gutter? Was I the one allowing people to get away with murder just because they were married to the almighty? No, that wasn’t me, that was Hurricane Hawk, so if you need to boo someone, boo him.

Deadprez: Well, I guess Jack isn’t taking responsibility for his actions

Eve: No surprise there

Gavin Kirkland: Like I said… heinous

Eve: Have you learnt a new word or something?

Jack Ripley: Let’s be honest for a second, this was never my fight was it? I was dragged into this by Alex Myers, and the truth is, I couldn’t care less. Why would I ever want to fight for Hurricane Hawk, a man who has screwed me, and countless others over, time and time again? Hawk obviously thought Impact and Kassidy were the greater of two evils, but where were they really? What could Hurricane Hawk ever give me? Nothing, that’s what. If he’d had stayed in power I would have remained in this holding pattern, wondering when the heck I was going to get paid my due. Hawk had no faith in me, but guess what, the feeling was mutual, so I did what I needed to do. I wasn’t going to get anywhere with him in charge. But now? The skies are the limit.

Deadprez: Maybe the problems you Jack? Perhaps a new General Manager will see you for what you are.

Jack Ripley: See, if Hawk would have stayed in power, maybe he would have eventually found a set and made Kassidy pay for everything she has done to Showdown, and then I wouldn’t have gotten the chance to end my business with her which is in no way over. If Impact was no longer champion, then Impact wouldn’t have something that I wanted, and believe me, I want to be the one who relieves Mr. Ten Times of his precious little trinket. I’m going to take this one step at a time, and do you know what I realized in the build up to No Regards? I didn’t need Hurricane Hawk, OR Alex Myers to achieve it. I’m going to PROVE that I am the best damn Elitist in this company, and I’m going to do it without them. I’m not stupid. I know when I am placed in a situation where I cannot win, and teaming with a punk like Alex Myers was never going to raise my stock. I did what I had to do… FOR ME.

(He emphasizes those last two words right down the lens of the camera, his eyes showing the determination burning within. The fans once again let him know what they think, but Jack Ripley is now beyond caring.)

Jack Ripley: So, stop with the comments on social media. Stop bothering me in the street, as I make it perfectly clear to every single person who has anything to do with this company, including whoever takes on the reins. You all want to know why I did what I did? The answer to that is simple. I did it, because I could.

(The noise levels threaten to drown him out, but he doesn’t let them, raising his voice still further so that it booms through the arena.)

Jack Ripley: I did it, because when it is the survival of the fittest, I WILL be the last one standing.

(Jack throws the mic to the floor, and then drops out of the ring, his music hitting once more as he makes his way up the ramp.)

Deadprez: Like it or not, Jack Ripley is making his point here tonight. He is in this for one reason and one reason alone, to prove himself the best. And he doesn’t need anyone’s help to do so.

Eve: I can’t believe Hawk is out of a job because of that selfish…

Gavin Kirkland: Heinous… Truly Heinous.

Deadprez: Yes Gavin, as always you are talking out of it.

(The camera pans back to Jack who pauses at the top of the ramp, as if he is going to turn. But he doesn’t, and just disappears through the curtain as the scene cuts to an ad for Road to Redemption.)

Gina Romano: THE FOLLOWING CONTEST IS SCHEDULED FOR ONE FALL!

Crowd: ONE FALL!

Bella Braxton: INTRODUCING FIRST-

Off-Camera Voice: No.

(The crowd boos as Ryan Wilson’s Promotional Director is making her way to the stage area with a calm cold and collected demeanor, dressed in a sharp-looking business outfit. She has her own microphone in hand as she stands on the stage just below the big screen.)

Demi Knorr: Thank you miss Braxton, I will handle things from here. Ladies and Gentlemen my name is Miss Demi Knorr! And as the Promotional Director for the man about to be introduced, I feel it is my duty to do it rather than the usual way. Now, introducing from Montréal, Québec, Canada! Weighing in at 220 pounds! He is the Archivist! RYAN… JOSEPH… WILSON!!!

(‘The Only Thing They Fear Is YOU’ by Mick Gordon plays over the sound system of the arena as for former New Breed Champion makes his way to the ring moving past the newest member of his Extended Universe giving her a thankful nod before giving his full focus to the ring.)

Deadprez: Here comes Ryan Wilson! At No Regards, Ryan Wilson came up short against Xander Payne in a great match where he was able to put on one hell of a performance, which actually got EAW Hall of Famer Xander Payne himself to acknowledge Ryan as one hell of a competitor later on!

Eve: That’s for sure, Prez. But one thing is, winning his match here tonight would be one hell of a method to rebound from that loss at No Regards considering that what is on the line is an Extreme Elimination Chamber spot, and if you ask me? I can tell that it’s actually a guarantee that Ryan Wilson will give it his absolute all.

Gavin Kirkland: ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Ryan’s opponent here tonight is LEXI, ONE OF THE BEST COMPETITORS IN NOT JUST SHOWDOWN, BUT EAW AS A WHOLE! It’ll be almost impossible for him to win tonight, but we’re gonna have to see at the end of the day. 🤷‍♂️

(Eve rolls her eyes in reaction to what Gavin just said, meanwhile as Ryan is seen in the ring waiting for his opponent, ‘Mr. Brightside’ by The Killers is heard replacing ‘The Only Thing They Fear is YOU’ to an absolutely positive reception from the audience, as Lexi is seen making her way up to the stage with a bright smile on her face. She wastes no time after, as she quickly starts making her way to the ring walking down the ramp.)

Gavin Kirkland: YEAH, YOU SEE? THAT IS WHAT I’M TALKING ABOUT! CAN YOU SEE THE FIRE IN HER EYES? As I said, beating her will be impossible!

Eve: 🙄 Anyway, just like Ryan, Lexi came up short at No Regards in a triple threat match against Veena Adams and Holly Arrow. And if she can beat her former partner here tonight, this is sure to be one hell of a way to bounce back.

Deadprez: Yeah, I agree! With the history these two share this is bound to be a very interesting bout, and we’re about to see what happens! Both competitors are in the ring at respective corners, and the referee signs for the bell and for the start of this match!

(DING! DING! DING!)

Eve: Here we go! The Answers World Championship Elimination Chamber Qualifier match is now officially underway between two former partners in Lexi and Ryan Wilson- WHO WASTES ABSOLUTELY ZERO TIME RUNNING AT LEXI FULL-SPEED, AND TAKING HER DOWN WITH A RUNNING STO! HE DOESN’T STOP WHATSOEVER, AS HE GRABS THE HEAD OF LEXI, AND SLAMS IT DOWN THE RING MAT POWERFULLY! AND AGAIN! AGAIN! AGAIN! RYAN ISN’T STOPPING! OH, HE FINALLY DOES, BUT THE ATTACK IS STILL GOING! RYAN WILSON WITH A FOREARM RIGHT TO THE FOREHEAD! FOREARM! FOREARM! FOREARM! AND A HEADBUTT TO THE FOREHEAD OF THE GROUNDED LEXI! WHAT THE HECK, IS HE TRYING TO KILL HER? THE REFEREE HAS NO CHOICE ANYMORE THOUGH; HE STARTS THE FIVE COUNT! THE MATCH JUST BEGAN, NO WAY RYAN WILSON IS WILLING TO DISQUALIFY HIMSELF LIKE THAT!

Referee: ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR! FI-

Deadprez: Ryan Wilson finally stops the attack he rolls off of the body of Lexi with his eyes widened! Ryan looks irrationally angry here tonight; his aggressiveness is able to gain full control over him, and it shows! It’s not too long before Ryan grabs Lexi picking her right up to her feet, AND HE IRISH WHIPS HER INTO THE CORNER, BEFORE REBOUNDING OFF THE ROPES HIMSELF, AND NAILING HER WITH A RUNNING CORNER LARIAT! WHAT A MANEUVER! THAT IS NOT EVEN ALL AS HE GRABS A HOLD OF HER JUST WHEN SHE WAS ABOUT TO FALL, AND HE TURNS HER AROUND, SLAMMING HER FOREHEAD ON THE TURNBUCKLE! HE DOES IT AGAIN! RYAN DOESN’T STOP, HE SEEMS EXTRAORDINARILY AGGRESSIVE TONIGHT! HE SLAMS LEXI’S FOREHEAD ON THE TOP TURNBUCKLE ONE FINAL TIME, AND THAT IS BEFORE HE THROWS HER DOWN ON THE RING MAT!

Gavin Kirkland: An evil-looking grin would slowly form on the face of Ryan Wilson, before growing, and he looks truly happy with what he is doing! Ryan Wilson walks towards the grounded Lexi as he stares her down, BEFORE NAILING HER WITH A POINTED ELBOW DROP!! RYAN WILSON WITH A POINTED ELBOW DROP RIGHT TO THE CHEST ABSOLUTELY ALL OF A SUDDEN, AND THAT MADE SURE THAT LEXI WILL STAY DOWN FOR LONGER, WHICH WORKS IN RYAN’S FAVOR! Ryan slowly gets on his knees, still staring down at his former partner with a huge smirk on his face, and that is before he hooks one leg, and goes for the cover! A pin attempt! A pint attempt! Ryan Wilson with the cover on Lexi!

OOOOONNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

TTTTWW-

Eve: SHOULDER UP! Lexi with a quick out, which isn’t to anyone’s surprise at this point, not even Ryan’s! It’s no secret that taking Lexi out of a match with something as important as an Elimination Chamber Match Spot on the line will be far from an easy task! Ryan Wilson slowly gets right back up to his feet whilst grabbing Lexi- WHO FROM OUT OF NOWHERE STARTS TRYING TO GET BACK IN THIS MATCH AS SHE KNEES HIS GUT WITH NO HESITATION! AND SHE DOES IT AGAIN! AND IT IS ALL BEFORE SHE STEPS OUT, AND FINALLY TAKES HIM DOWN THE RING MAT WITH A SNAP SUPLEX! WHAT A MANEUVER BY LEXI!

Deadprez: Lexi has immediately turned the tables, and she gained full control over this matchup! Lexi picks Ryan Wilson right back up to his feet- BUT HE SUDDENLY, APPARENTLY UNAFFECTED, TRIES TO REGAIN CONTROL OVER THIS MATCHUP ONCE AGAIN AS HE TAKES LEXI DOWN WITH A LARIAT- WAIT, NO! SHE DUCKS! SHE DUCKS! LEXI DUCKS UNDERNEATH, THUS GOING BEHIND RYAN WILSON, AND SHE TURNS HIM AROUND! SPINNING BACK KICK TO THE GUT! SPINNING BACK KICK ENSURES THE IMBALANCE OF RYAN WILSON FOR A NEEDED BIT OF TIME, WHICH IS WHAT LEXI EXACTLY WANTS AS SHE IRISH WHIPS HIM TOWARDS THE CORNER, AND RYAN HITS THE TURNBUCKLE BACK-FIRST! AND LEXI STARTS GOING AT IT RIGHT INTO THE RIBS OF RYAN WILSON! LEXI IS UNSTOPPABLY STRIKING THE RIBS OF RYAN WILSON, CONTINUOUSLY!

Gavin Kirkland: AND NOW LEXI STRIKES HIM WITH A CORNER CLOTHESLINE! ANOTHER ONE! A THIRD ONE! FOUR! FIVE! SIX! SEVEN! EIGHT! NINE! TEN! LEXI FINALLY STOPS, AND RYAN WILSON STANDS ON WOBBLY FEET FOR A MOMENT, BEFORE COMPLETELY LOSING BALANCE AND FALLING ALL THE WAY DOWN ON THE RING MAT! LEXI TAKES ADVANTAGE OF THIS SITUATION, AND SHE ROLLS ONTO THE APRON! LEXI STARTS MAKING HER WAY UP TO THE TOP ROPE! SHE’S CLIMBING HER WAY UP TO THE TOP TURNBUCKLE, WHICH SHE REACHES! LEXI IS UP THERE, AND SHE TAUNTS RYAN WILSON TO GET RIGHT BACK UP TO HIS FEET, WHICH HE SLOWLY STARTS DOING USING THE ROPES ANYWAY! RYAN WILSON IS SLOWLY GETTING BACK UP, HE’S SLOWLY STANDING FULLY UP ON HIS FEET, BUT RIGHT BEFORE HE CAN BE COMPLETELY BALANCED, LEXI TAKES HER SHOT, AND SHE TAKES HIM DOWN ONCE AGAIN WITH A DIVING CROSSBODY! THE DIVING CROSSBODY! SHE HAS ALL OF IT! THE DIVING CROSSBODY CONNECTS, AND LEXI HOOKS THE LEG! THE COVER ON RYAN WILSON! THIS MIGHT BE IT!

OOOOONNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

TTTTWWWWWWOOOOOOOO-

Eve: RYAN WILSON POPS THE SHOULDER UP FROM THE MAT; THIS MATCH IS STILL GOING! RYAN WILSON KICKS OUT, AND LEXI, NOT EVEN LOOKING SHOCKED, BUT INSTEAD FRUSTRATED, PUNCHES THE RING MAT IN ANGER! LEXI ISN’T HAPPY! Though, she still tries to push forward and keep going, and it’s not like she has a choice to do something else anyway! Lexi gets right back up standing on her feet and that is before she grabs Ryan picking him back up himself, and she tries to lift him up! She’s going for yet another Snap Suplex! Will it work this time around? Lexi is trying to lift Ryan Wilson all the way up on her shoulders, but he isn’t allowing her to; Ryan is standing his ground, and considering he’s the male competitor who is taller, bigger, and heavier, it’s clear why Lexi is finding a bit of struggle when it comes to keeping this man under control, AND IT’S RYAN WILSON WHO ALL OF A SUDDEN, FROM ABSOLUTELY OUT OF NOWHERE MAKES SURE THAT THE TIDES HAVE UTTERLY CHANGED, AS HE OVERPOWERS LEXI, AND DROPS HER DOWN WITH A GUTWRENCH SUPLEX! WHAT A MANEUVER BY WILSON; WHAT A COMEBACK!

Deadprez: Ryan gets right back up to his feet, as he grabs Lexi and tosses her out of the ring! Ryan Wilson rolls out following her himself, and he picks her right back up to her feet, BEFORE RUTHLESSLY TOSSING HER INTO THE APRON! LEXI CRASHES INTO THE APRON SHOULDER FIRST, AND BEFORE SHE COULD EVEN FALL DOWN, RYAN WILSON GRABS HER ONCE AGAIN, AND HE, WITH LITERALLY EVERY SINGLE BIT OF STRENGTH HE GOT, MERCILESSLY TOSSES HER INTO THE BARRICADE! LEXI CRASHES INTO THE BARRICADE AS SHE FALLS ALL THE WAY DOWN TO THE FLOOR, WHICH RYAN DOESN’T SEEM TO BE GIVING A SINGLE CARE IN THE WORLD ABOUT!

ONE!

TWO!

THREE!

Gavin Kirkland: I WISH THAT WAS ALL ABOUT IT, BUT IT’S NOT! UNFORTUNATELY OF COURSE! RYAN, STOP, GODDAMN! RYAN WILSON IS SEEN LAUGHING AS HE GRABS LEXI PICKING HER RIGHT BACK UP TO HER FEET, AND HE BACKS AWAY A LITTLE BIT, BEFORE TAKING HER DOWN WITH A RUNNING KNEE STRIKE! RYAN WILSON NAILS LEXI WITH A RUNNING KNEE STRIKE, AND HE GROUNDS HER ONCE AGAIN! LEXI IS HELPLESS AT THE MOMENT, AND THAT’S ALL RYAN NEEDS! HE PICKS HER UP YET AGAIN, HE ISN’T DONE! RYAN LIFTS LEXI UP AND HE DRAGS HER AROUND LIKE A RAGDOLL, BEFORE HE POWERFUL SLAMS HER DOWN ON THE FLOOR WITH A RUNNING POWERSLAM THE RUNNING POWERSLAM TAKES DOWN LEXI, AS RYAN WASTES NO TIME ROLLING HER BACK IN THE RING RIGHT AFTER!

FOUR!

FIVE!

SIX!

SEVEN!

(As Ryan Wilson just rolled Lexi back inside the ring, a reign of boos is heard being poured out on him as he’s seen taunting the crowd at the ringside area doing his ‘R-J-W!’ pose, as he’s spreading his arms wide in the air whilst pointing them on himself. On the other hand, that does nothing in the grand scheme of things but give Lexi enough time to recover, which Ryan doesn’t even seem to recognize in the slightest. He turns around, as he rolls back inside the ring…)

Eve: RUNNING KNEE STRIKE! RUNNING KNEE STRIKE! OH MY GOD, PAYBACK! THAT’S PAYBACK RIGHT HERE! RYAN WILSON ALLOWED HIS FOCUS TO BE PLACED ELSEWHERE, AND IT DIDN’T PLAY OUT TOO WELL FOR HIM! RYAN WILSON ROLLED BACK INSIDE THE RING AFTER TAUNTING THE AUDIENCE, AND THAT GAVE LEXI ENOUGH TIME TO RECOVER AND BE ABLE TO CATCH HIM OFF GUARD! LEXI IS AT THE CORNER CHARGING AT RYAN WHO’S GETTING RIGHT BACK UP TO HIS FEET… AND ANOTHER RUNNING KNEE STRIKE! LEXI WITH ANOTHER RUNNING KNEE STRIKE RIGHT TO THE SKULL OF RYAN WILSON, AND HE FALLS DOWN THE RING MAT ONCE AGAIN! WHAT A MANEUVER! LEXI IS ONCE AGAIN ABLE TO GET BACK IN THIS MATCH, AND THE CROWD IS HEARD CHEERING LOUDLY FOR HER IN REACTION!

Deadprez: Ryan Wilson has gotten right back up to his feet from the impact of the two consecutive knee strikes he just took from his opponent back-to-back, and that is before he leans towards the ropes trying to regain energy and catch his breath, but Lexi apparently is not going to allow that to happen! Oh, what could she be looking for? Lexi rebounds running off the ropes, AND SHE SENDS RYAN WILSON FLYING OVER THE TOP ROPE AND FALLING RIGHT ON THE FLOOR OF THE RINGSIDE AREA WITH A LARIAT! LEXI WITH A LARIAT OVER THE TOP ROPE TO RYAN WILSON, AND SHE IS NOW IN FULL CONTROL OVER HER OPPONENT, AND OVER THIS MATCHUP IN A GENERAL MANNER! LEXI DOESN’T SEEM TO BE DONE AS MEANWHILE RYAN IS SEEN SLOWLY TRYING TO RECOVER AND GET RIGHT BACK UP TO HIS FEET USING THE BARRICADE, LEXI REBOUNDS OFF THE ROPES ONCE AGAIN, AND SHE TAKES HIM DOWN WITH A SUICIDE DIVE!!! SUICIDE DIVE!!! WHAT A MOVE!!! WHAT A MOVE!!! WHAT A DISPLAY OF BRAVEHEART AND LACK OF FEAR OF TAKING RISKS RIGHT HERE BY LEXI! LEXI GETS RIGHT BACK UP TO HER FEET AS SHE JUMPS AROUND LAUGHING WITH A HAPPY AND PROUD EXPRESSION ON HER FACE, AND IN RESPONSE THE CROWD DOES NOTHING BUT KEEPS GETTING LOUDER WITH THEIR POSITIVE REACTIONS TO HER!

ONE!

TWO!

THREE!

FOUR!

FIVE!

Gavin Kirkland: Lexi grabs Ryan Wilson picking him right back up to his feet, and she slams his head on the barricade! As said earlier, that’s payback Lexi is getting the chance to get over her former partner, and as anybody would, she’s making the most out of it! And she then slams his forehead on our table! That must have hurt! And now she’s slamming his head on the apron, before finally rolling him back inside the ring, and then rolling back in herself as she backs up to the ropes charging!

Eve: Ryan is obviously hurt, there is no question about it, but despite that he’s still trying to stand back up on his feet and keep fighting, which he’s about to, and he does! He does! Ryan Wilson is finally back up on his feet, which Lexi, who’s charging at him behind takes advantage of! She runs off the ropes, before once again rebounding as she runs off the opposite ropes and she strikes Ryan with- RYAN CATCHES HER! RYAN CATCHES HER IN MID AIR BEFORE SHE COULD DO ANYTHING, AND HE TAKES HER DOWN WITH A HAMMERLOCK SLAM!!! WHAT A FANTASTIC DISPLAY OF INSTANT REALIZATION HERE BY RYAN WILSON, WHO WAS LEGIT ALL OF A SUDDEN ABLE TO LET LEXI’S PLANS TO STAY IN FULL CONTROL OVER THIS MATCHUP BACKFIRE AGAINST HER!

Deadprez: Lexi is down helpless, and Ryan Wilson still does not seem to be done! Ryan Wilson rolls out into the ring apron, and he starts climbing his way up to the top rope! Ryan is making his way up to the top turnbuckle, which he reaches clearly having a plan in mind! Lexi is still grounded, AND RYAN WILSON FINALLY TAKES HIS SHOT; FROG SPLASH!!! RYAN WILSON WITH A  FROG SPLASH TO LEXI!!! WHAT A WONDERFUL DISPLAY OF IN-RING ABILITY EXCESS! LEXI JUST ATE EVERY SINGLE BIT OF THAT CRASH AND TOOK MOST OF THE DAMAGE, AND NOW RYAN KNOWS THAT THIS IS DEFINITELY HIS SHOT! LEXI’S SHOULDER ARE DOWN, AND RYAN’S ARM IS ON TOP OF HER! COULD THIS BE IT? THE COVER BY RYAN WILSON!

OOOOONNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

TTTTWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!

Gavin Kirkland: YESSSSS!!! LEXI FORCES THE SHOULDER UP FROM THE MAT! KICK OUT! KICK OUT BY LEXI! LEXI KICKS OUT, AND THAT LEAVES RYAN WILSON WITH A LITTLE BIT OF A SENSE OF SHOCK! NOT AN ENTIRETY, IT STILL EXISTS! RYAN LOOKS SLIGHTLY SHOCKED, BUT HE WOULD KNOW FOR CERTAIN BETTER THAN ANYBODY ELSE IS THAT KNOCKING HIS PARTNER OFF WON’T BE EASY! Though he wastes no time as he gets right back up to his feet, and keeps an assault active as he continuously stomps down on the chest of Lexi in order to keep her grounded as long as possible! Ryan Wilson is going at it nonstop, and right after he finally stops, HE STRIKES THE CHEST OF LEXI WITH A POINTED ELBOW DROP FOR THE SECOND TIME IN THIS MATCH! THOUGH, NOT SEEMING TO BE SATISFIED, HE QUICKLY BACKS UP TO HIS FEET, AND HE DOES IT AGAIN! ANOTHER POINTED ELBOW DROP!

Eve: The pain Ryan is putting Lexi through is surely too much to be manhandled, but that’s what you need to keep in mind that you will most definitely have to face if you wanna qualify to a match with the Answers World Championship on the line! Ryan Wilson is back up on his feet and he drags Lexi around before picking her up–

(**CHOP!**)

Deadprez: OH, LEXI ALL OF A SUDDEN STRIKES BACK AS SHE NAILS RYAN WILSON WITH A CHOP RIGHT INTO THE CHEST! THE CHOP NAILS RYAN WILSON AND UNDENIABLY AFFECTS HIM HEAVILY, BUT HE RESPONDS TO THAT WITH A CHOP TO LEXI OF HIS OWN! AND BOTH INDIVIDUALS START TRADING CHOPS, AND APPARENTLY, THAT WON’T STOP UNTIL EITHER DISPLAYS ENOUGH STRENGTH TO KNOCK DOWN THE OTHER!

(Lexi Chops Ryan.)

Crowd: WOOOOOOOOO!

(Ryan Chops Lexi.)

Crowd: BOOOOOOOOO!

(Lexi Chops Ryan.)

Crowd: WOOOOOOOOO!

(Ryan Chops Lexi.)

Crowd: BOOOOOOOOO!

(Lexi Chops Ryan )

Crowd: WOOOOOOOOO!

(Ryan Chops Lexi.)

Crowd: BOOOOOOOOO!

(Lexi goes for another chop to the chest of Ryan, but Ryan ducks…)

Gavin Kirkland: LEXI GOES FOR ANOTHER CHOP TO RYAN, BUT RYAN DUCKS UNDERNEATH! RYAN GOES UNDER AND MANAGES TO DUCK, AND HE NAILS HER WITH A FOREARM SMASH TO THE BACK OF THE HEAD MAKING HER LOSE BALANCE, BEFORE TURNING HER AROUND, AND STRIKING HER GUT WITH A POWERFUL KICK! LEXI CAN’T CONTROL THE MOTION OF HERSELF ANYMORE NOW, WHICH IS APPARENTLY WHAT RYAN WAS LOOKING FOR IN ORDER TO APPLY WHAT HE HAD IN MIND… ‘LA BOMBE BLEU!!!’ ‘LA BOMBE BLEU!!!’ ‘LA BOMBE BLEU!!!’ BLUE THUNDER BOMB BY RYAN WILSON!! THE BLUE THUNDER BOMB!! THE BLUE THUNDER BOMB CONNECTS, AND IT ABSOLUTELY SLAMS LEXI ALL THE WAY DOWN ON THE RING MAT!!! LEXI IS DOWN!!! LEXI IS DOWN!! RYAN WILSON DROPS LEXI DOWN WITH ‘LA BOMBE BLEU’ BLUE THUNDER BOMB, AND HE LAYS DOWN ON LEXI FOR THE COVER! THE COVER BY RYAN WILSON! THIS MUST BE IT!

OOOOONNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

TTTTWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!

TTTTTHHHHHHH-

Eve: NOT YET, NOT YET! LEXI ONCE AGAIN WITH THE SHOULDER UP! LEXI IS ABLE TO KICK OUT ONCE AGAIN, AND RYAN WILSON HOLDS HIS HEAD IN SHOCK AND FRUSTRATION! LEXI HAS SURVIVED THE ‘LA BOMBE BLEU’ BLUE THUNDER BOMB, AND THIS MATCH IS STILL GOING! RYAN IS EXTREMELY ANGRY, BUT HE, JUST LIKE LEXI, STILL HAS SOME GAS LEFT IN THE TANK! HE GRABS LEXI PICKING HER UP TO HER FEET WHILST GETTING BACK UP HIMSELF AS WELL, AND HE GRABS LEXI BEFORE LIFTING HER UP! OH NO, IS HE GOING FOR THE ‘CHEMIN DE CROIX’ CRUCIFIX POWERBOMB? NO WAY! AND HE DOES! ‘CHEMIN DE CROIX!!!’ THE CRUCIFIX POWERBOMB CONNECTS-

Deadprez: NO! IT DOESN’T CONNECT! IT DOESN’T CONNECT! LEXI SLIPS OUT OF IT, LEXI IS ABLE TO ESCAPE! LEXI REVERSES OUTSMARTING RYAN AS SHE REGAINS FULL CONTROL OF THINGS, AND RYAN TURNS AROUND TO SEE HIS OPPONENT- ‘LIGHTS OUT!!!!’ ‘LIGHTS OUT!!!’ WHAT A MANEUVER BY LEXI!! LEXI FROM ABSOLUTELY OUT OF NOWHERE WITH THE ‘LIGHTS OUT’ TAKING RYAN WILSON DOWN THE RING MAT, AND PROBABLY KNOCKS HIM OFF FOR GOOD! THE SUPERKICK CONNECTS RIGHT TO THE FACE OF WILSON, AND HE’S PROBABLY DOWN AND OUT! THIS IS LEXI’S CHANCE! SHE DROPS DOWN FOR THE COVER HOOKING BOTH LEGS! THE COVER! THE COVER BY LEXI! COULD SHE FINISH IT OFF RIGHT HERE?

OOOOONNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

TTTTWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!

TTTTTHHHHHHHHHRRRR-

Gavin Kirkland: RYAN WILSON SHOWS HIS PARTNER WHY HE WON’T BE A CAKEWALK EITHER, KICK OUT! RYAN WITH THE KICK OUT! THE KICK OUT BY RYAN WILSON, AND THIS MATCH IS STILL GOING! LEXI CAN’T BELIEVE IT! LEXI CAN’T BELIEVE IT! RYAN WILSON JUST SAVED HIMSELF, AND WE STILL DON’T HAVE A WINNER YET! LEXI, NO MATTER HOW SHOCKED THOUGH, STILL TRIES! SHE PICKS RYAN BACK UP TO HIS FEET, AND SHE’S GOING FOR THE ‘PACK WATCH!!’ THIS IS DEFINITELY IT! LEXI LIFTS RYAN UP IN THE POSITION OF A SUPLEX, AND THE ELEVATED BACKSTABBER CONNECTS! IT CONNECTS-

Eve: RYAN SLIPS OUT, AND HE GOES BEHIND! RYAN WILSON GOES BEHIND LEXI! LEXI TURNS AROUND AS SHE OBVIOUSLY HAS NO CLUE WHAT JUST HAPPENED, OR EVEN HOW IT HAPPENED! RYAN WILSON TURNS LEXI AROUND, BEFORE NAILING HER WITH A KNEE TO ABDOMEN KEEPING HER UNABLE TO STAY BALANCED… ‘MIC DROP!!!’ NO WAY, NO WAY!! ‘MIC DROP!!!’ ‘MIC DROP!!!’ RYAN WILSON JUST TOOK LEXI OUT WITH THE ‘MIC DROP!!!’ THE SMALL PACKAGE DRIVER CONNECTS, AND THAT PROBABLY KNOCKED LEXI OUT FOR GOOD!! RYAN WILSON LAYS DOWN ON LEXI FOR THE COVER, HOOKING ONE LEG! THIS IS DEFINITELY IT! RYAN WILSON WITH THE COVER! THE COVER! ARE WE ABOUT TO KNOW ONE OF THE ANSWERS WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP EXTREME ELIMINATION CHAMBER PARTICIPANTS?! WE’RE ABOUT TO SEE AS THE REF STARTS THE COUNT!

OOOOONNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

TTTTWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!

TTTTTTHHHHHHHHHRRRRREEEEEEEEEEE!!!

(DING! DING! DING)

(‘The Only Thing They Fear is YOU’ blasts the speakers once again as the crowd boos loudly in reaction to Ryan Wilson, who rolls off of the body of Lexi popping into one knee with the biggest smirk ever on his face. Ryan laughs, as he stands back up on his feet, before getting his arm held up by the referee, thus being acknowledged as the winner and the Extreme Elimination Chamber Qualifier. Ryan climbs up to the top rope laughing so hard as he raises his arms celebrating the well-deserved win he was just able to pick up.)

Gina Romano: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, HERE IS YOUR WINNER, AND QUALIFYING TO THE EXTREME ELIMINATION CHAMBER AT ROAD TO REDEMPTION… RYYYYYYAAAAAN WIIIIIIILSOOOOOOOON!!!!!!!

Deadprez: What a match we were just able to witness here tonight! Ryan Wilson has won, and it wasn’t at all easy for him to do so, but he was still able to conquer his opponent and former partner here tonight, thus guaranteeing his spot in the Extreme Elimination Chamber at Road to Redemption!

Gavin Kirkland: :noah: Well, looks like I was wrong. Huge effort here by Lexi tonight, but it just wasn’t enough to knock off a solid, focused Ryan Wilson who was destined to win this on his terms, and nonetheless there is nothing to take away from Lexi, because she showed out and did her best but eventually, she wasn’t able to make this about hers.

Eve:  All in all, tonight belongs to the man that just secured himself a spot in Showdown’s Road to Redemption main event. Congratulations to Ryan Wilson.

(The final shot is seen as Ryan Wilson is celebrating his spot in the Extreme Elimination Chamber Match, meanwhile Lexi is still laying inside the ring, down and out. From there, Saturday Night Showdown fades elsewhere.)

(The camera cuts away to the backstage area, where Mikaela Street is standing by. She acknowledges the camera and lifts the mic to her lips.)

Mikaela Street: Hi, I’m Mikaela Street, and I hope you have enjoyed the show thus far. Right now, I want to take some time away from the excitement to report on four individuals who must be wondering what is next after what happened at No Regards.

(She flicks her hair out from in front of her face, as the camera pans in a little)

Mikaela Street: First, Harley Lewis was on the end of a damaging defeat at the hands of Donovan Duke at No Regards and didn’t leave as he had imagined as the National Elite Champion. Although over the past few weeks, it is clear that Harley has hit a little bump in the road, there is no question that even in defeat, he has shown himself more than capable of competing with the best in this company, and will no doubt improve still further as his experience grows. Just a side note, on the subject of Harley Lewis, people close to him have confirmed to me that although yes, those defeats have been hard to take, Harley has other plans brewing that will make this run of bad results seem like a distant memory. With that said, is Harley targeting success elsewhere? Maybe the tag team division? And if so… who would be his partner? Needless to say, there is a lot of intrigue behind Harley Lewis right now, and according to my sources, a bright future ahead for that particular Elitist.

(Mikaela pauses for a moment, allowing those words to digest like any reporter should, before she moves onto her next subject.)

Mikaela Street: And talking of bright futures, someone else who the EAW Management team believes is on the cusp of a starring role in this company is none other than Roberto De La Rosa, who results may well have been a mixed bag over the past few months, but who’s performances have certainly grabbed the attention of the people who matter. I was talking to someone who asked not to be named, but they told me that Roberto is believed to be one big win away from being a megastar. Yes, that is a direct quote, a megastar, and Roberto has been told that if he can break through that ceiling, he will be pushed to the moon. Obviously with the talent on this brand improving with every week, that could be easier said than done. But it must go without question that this has to incentivize Roberto to go looking for some of the top Elitists on the brand. Who knows, with Ryan Wilson failing at No Regards to take the ‘Best in the World Challenge’ could Roberto De La Rosa be the next to step up to the plate. And if he did get the chance against Xander Payne, could he take it, and beat Xander where so many others couldn’t? He may not be now, but could Roberto De La Rosa be the next name on everyone’s lips? I’ll be keeping a close eye on this one, you can rest assured.

Another person to keep a close eye on is Jon Kelton, who made it very clear how much he needed the victory over Adam Lucas at No Regards, yet once again came up short. Again, my sources tell me that Jon took that defeat hard, but from what I am hearing there may be a silver lining ahead for him in the guise of Road to Redemption. Although Jon lost a hard-fought match against Adam, it is believed that his performance ensured that the result wasn’t too damaging, and that he could be granted a place in the Elimination Chamber, and another opportunity to break through in the way he believes he can. Of course, the Elimination Chamber holds its own pitfalls, and careers have ended within that structure, but it is this reporter’s belief that Jon won’t care. Over the past two years, Jon Kelton has shown that he is ready to take on the mantle, but if given the chance at Road to Redemption can he finally grasp it with both hands. Can he once again raise himself after a crushing defeat… the next few weeks will surely answer that question.

(Mikaela pauses one last time, before delivering her final report.)

Mikaela Street: And finally, there have been a lot of questions asked about Adam Lucas over the past few weeks, questions that he has undeniably answered… The DQ defeat to Alex Myers was the only blip on his record. Adam spoke a lot on how badly season fifteen went for him, and there is no question sixteen has been better, but it still hasn’t given him the Answers World Championship that he so dearly craves. Just like Jon Kelton, it seems like he will be a shoe in for the Elimination Chamber, so another chance in the offing. However, his record in these kind of matches makes depressing reading for him, so how Adam will take that news is anyone’s guess. But, with his newfound attitude of doing what it takes to get it done, is that the ingredient that has been missing previously, and is he now ready to take on all comers and claim the prize? Who knows?

With the General Manager being quite significant in bringing Adam Lucas to his current position, I tried to reach Adam for a quote on Hurricane Hawk being relieved of his role but was unsuccessful in doing so.

So, read into that what you may.

That said, for all four of them, it’s going to be interesting for us all seeing the way it pans out. And with the potential of a new General Manager coming in, who knows if it will affect their futures, or even if they will benefit from the change. That’s it from me, I’ll be back soon with more updates. Until then, enjoy the rest of the show as we head towards Road to Redemption and years end.

Now guys… back to you!

(The camera transitions ringside for the next match.)

( The scene fades back to the show as Gina Romano stands in the middle of the ring and looks to announce the upcoming competition. )

Gina Romano: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, THE FOLLOWING ELIMINATION CHAMBER QUALIFYING MATCH WITH A TV-TIME LIMIT IS SCHEDULED FOR…

Crowd: ONE FALL!

( “Get Going” by The Muddy Apes hits into a chorus of boo as Komatsu Ogawa, alongside Lucas Johnson and with a devilish smirk on his way, makes his way down to the ring. He’s looking to pull some tricks to take Xander down here tonight. )

Gina Romano: INTRODUCING FIRST, ACCOMPANIED BY LUCAS JOHNSON! FROM TOKYO, JAPAN!… WEIGHING IN AT 258 POUNDS!… HE IS ‘THE DRUNKEN HEEL KING’!!!…  KOMATSUUUUUUUUUUUUU OGAWAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!

Gavin Kirkland: Komatsu Ogawa with Lucas Johnson is coming out here tonight, truly looking forward to beating Xander and making his way to the Elimination Chamber this year! Triangle of Terror is truly the best faction in EAW! WOOO!

Deadprez: What.

Eve: What.

Gavin Kirkland: Oh come on, guys! You don’t like Harley Lewis?! Lucas Johnson?! Komatsu Ogawa?! No?

Deadprez: ‘Best faction in EAW’ isn’t something you should say, first of all.

Gavin Kirkland: Okay sorry, I’m just kidding. Please don’t beat me up.

( Ogawa enters the ring while Lucas stands around the ringside area. Ogawa’s music replaces by ‘It Follows’ by Cane Hill as Xander Payne makes his way down to the ring with both eyes on his opponent who is chilling at the corner, waiting for him to make his entrance down to the ring.)

Gina Romano: NEXT! WRESTLING OUT OF TORONTO, ONTARIO, CANADA!… WEIGHING IN AT 255 POUNDS!… THE EAW HALL OF FAMER, XANDERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!… PAYNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gavin Kirkland: After coming out of No Regards freshly with a victory over Ryan Wilson, Xander comes to Showdown here tonight to come back and take the spot inside the Elimination Chamber!

Eve: I have to admit that was a historical match between Xander and Ryan. However, those things don’t matter anymore because Xander is coming to beat Ogawa and take that position tonight. Would the Hall of Famer be able to make his way to the Elimination Chamber this year and fight for the EAW Answer World Championship?

(DING DING DING!)

Gavin Kirkland: Two of the most talented fat men in all Elite Answer Wrestling are about to clash with each other, ladies and gentlemen. Be safe, I feel like we are going to get an earthquake around here! Ogawa rushes from the beginning of the match and sends Xander right back to his corner with a massive European Uppercut! Striking like bowling!

Eve: Ogawa takes Xander out of his corner down to the middle of the ring. Ogawa with a Spinning Heel Kick to his abdomen! Ogawa throws Xander to the ropes but Xander turns down the table as he swaps the position with Ogawa instead. Ogawa flies down to the ropes, bounces off the ropes and Xander catches him with a Superkick… BUT OGAWA SLIDES UNDER THE KICK! OGAWA POPS BACK TO HIS FEET, GRABS XANDER FROM BEHIND, AND DRIVES XANDER’S NECK TO THE MAT WITH A DESTRUCTIVE DEADLIFT BRIDGING GERMAN SUPLEX! I REMEMBER WATCHING ONE OF THOSE THINGS FROM SOME OLD JAPANESE TAPES!

Deadprez: Xander tries to fight! Xander uses his back elbow and strikes right into Ogawa’s face, attempting to escape from Ogawa’s scope. Ogawa finally lets Xander off go. Xander turns around quickly and knocks him back to the ropes with a Step-Up Enzuigiri but Xander misses it! Ogawa grabs the back of Xander’s pant with his right hand, pulls him back to his feet as quickly as possible, and throws Xander down to the mat with a High-Angle Bridging Belly To Back Suplex!

Gavin Kirkland: Welp! Before Ogawa hoists up his opponent, Xander takes this opportunity to duck under and go under Ogawa’s legs. Xander rises back to his feet from behind, seizes Ogawa from behind, and goes for a German Suplex on his own! Ogawa also uses his right elbow and drives it right into Xander’s face! Xander stumbles away from Ogawa. Xander shakes his head and tries to run back at Ogawa but Ogawa makes an offense again by catching Xander with a quick STO! A big, greasy, and delicious meaty man is taking down my favorite Portuguese breakfast, oh my-

Eve: :dahell:

Deadprez: Kids are watching, Gavin. Lower your tone.

Gavin Kirkland: My sincere apologies, Ladies and Gentlemen. Anyway, back to the match! Xander tries to push himself off the mat but Ogawa wastes no time and stomps right onto both hands! Xander cries out in pain but Ogawa quickly shuts him up with a Yakuza Kick right across the Hall of Famer’s jaw! Xander is just about to fall to the mat but Ogawa holds on to him! Ogawa picks him back up to his feet… AND USES BOTH HANDS TO SCRATCH HIS EYES! Hey, that’s cheating, referee! Why the hell are you standing there and doing absolutely nothing like some NPC?????

Eve: The referee quickly runs in and tells Ogawa off from doing that quickly. Xander falls back to the ropes and Ogawa angrily argues with the referee about his action against him. Our drunk octopus is quite unhappy but he doesn’t care and pushes away. He grabs Xander… BUT XANDER WITH A TOP ROPE, SHOOTS IT RIGHT INTO OGAWA’S NECK! XANDER PULLS AND LETS IT HIT HIM! OGAWA FALLS AND NOW, IT’S UP TO XANDER!

Deadprez: A great payback from Xander! Ogawa tries to catch some breath after taking that shot. Ogawa holds his neck and turns back around to Xander… SUPERKICK! Ogawa falls flat! Xander drops down, hooks his leg, and goes for a pinfall!

ONEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!

Gavin Kirkland: Japanese Yokozuna Slickhead with a kick out before three! These two are trying to fight for the spot at Elimination Chamber, showing how much they need this win over one another! Xander picks himself back to his feet while Ogawa tries to recover from that superkick that just connected to his jaw. Xander pulls Ogawa by his hair. Xander kicks to his gut and attempts to go for a Fisherman Buster!

Eve: Ogawa with a knee to his gut! Xander holds down his stomach and lets Ogawa free from him. Ogawa hops up for a Jumping High Kick right across Xander’s jaw! Ogawa pops back to his feet, grabs Xander from behind, pushes him forward, and puts Xander down to the ground with ‘Irish Coffee’ ! A Ripcord Lariat by Komatsu Ogawa!

Deadprez: But Xander ducks under and goes around. Xander pushes Ogawa forward and tries to attack him with Ogawa’s own move instead! Ogawa is turned around by Xander but stops the move by catching him with a Straight Right Hand right into his face! Xander stuns! Ogawa quickly connects from behind with a Hook Kick! Xander falls to his knees! Ogawa runs up to the front, bounces off the ropes and pushes Xander down to the mat with a Sliding Roundhouse Kick! Down goes Xander!

Gavin Kirkland: Ogawa looks like a fan of Halloween: Ends! He loves killing and hurting people just like Michael Myers! Ogawa looks down at Xander, making sure that Xander stays down for good. Ogawa rushes down to the ropes, goes under the top rope down to the apron, and waits for Xander to get back to both feet. Ogawa yells at Xander and Xander pushes himself off the mat…

Eve: OGAWA POPS DOWN FOR A SLINGSHOT DDT BUT XANDER KNOCKS HIM OUT COLD RIGHT IN THE MID-AIR WITH A SUPERKICK! OGAWA’S DOWN! XANDER PICKS HIM BACK TO HIS FEET IMMEDIATELY… DRIVES HIM DOWN TO THE MAT WITH A VICIOUS X-PLEX! OGAWA BOUNCES OFF THE MAT LIKE A DOLPHIN JUMPING FROM UNDER THE SEA!

Deadprez: Ogawa drops into a seated position and Xander quickly connects Ogawa with a shoot kick right to his jaw! Ogawa falls but it seems like Xander isn’t done there! He looks like he’s coming for more to put Ogawa down for good!

Gavin Kirkland: Yeah, dad! Tell this glorified jobber to know his place! Tell hi-

Eve: Xander picks Ogawa back to his feet but he crawls down and grabs the referee by both legs instead! Ogawa tries to talk to the referee, but this isn’t the time! What are you doing, Oga-

Deadprez: While the referee is distracted by Ogawa… THAT’S LUCAS JOHNSON! Lucas jumps from behind and shoves a right hand to the back of his head! Lucas takes Xander down to the mat quickly and stomps the hell out of Xander!

Gavin Kirkland: Lucas picks Xander back to his feet and goes for his finisher! A Rear-Naked Choke! ‘Fall And Pray’ !

Eve: No, Gavin. Xander throws Lucas down to the ring’s mat instead. Lucas rolls back to his feet quickly… BUT XANDER POPS HIM UP INTO THE AIR AND ENDS HIM LIKE THAT WITH ‘LAST SEDATION’ !!! A POP-UP POWERBOMB SENDING LUCAS TO THE SEVENTH HEAVEN!

Deadprez: Ogawa pushes the referee away once he sees his dearest partner gets taken down by Xander. Ogawa goes for his classic Japanese running lariat at Xander but Xander ducks under. Ogawa stops and turns back around to Xander. Xander lifts him up quickly for a Sit-out Michinoku Driver!

Gavin Kirkland: Ogawa jumps over and lands on his feet instead! He grabs Xander from behind, grabs Xander by his head, pulls it down, and tries to plant Xander to the mat with a Rolling Cutter!

Eve: A Rolling Cutter drives Xander’s head to the mat but Ogawa isn’t done there! Ogawa uses his ability to hold on to Xander, slowly transits into his own submission move, and locks Xander up with ‘Alcohol Poisoning’ ! A Bulldog Choke by Ogawa, attempting to make Xander run out of breath!

Deadprez: Xander’s eyes start to shut! He’s fading! Xander is in trouble! This is going to be a big big problem for Xander! Is Ogawa going to pull an upset!

Gavin Kirkland: XANDER TAPS! IT’S OVER!

Eve: No, Gavin! Not yet! It’s just almost! Xander tries to reach the rope instead! Ogawa does his best to put Xander to his bed! Xander doesn’t want to give up his dream of becoming a part of the Chamber either!

Deadprez: Ogawa is tired of Xander’s ambition. He lets Xander off and picks him back up. Ogawa hoists Xander up… ‘Blue Hawaiian’ ! Xander gets taken down to the ground with a Belly To Back Double Knee Backbreaker by Ogawa! Ogawa drops down and goes for a pin! Is Ogawa going to take it??

ONEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!

Gavin Kirkland: Medium Rare Wagyu Steak with a kick-out! Xander Payne gets his shoulder off the mat!

Eve: What did you call him?

Gavin Kirkland: Medi-

Deadprez: I’m going to slap you very very hard if you call anybody that ever again.

Gavin Kirkland: ????

Eve: Ok guys, there is a match going on. Ogawa slowly picks himself back to his feet after a lot of things that he has been through after trying to put Xander down time and time. Ogawa is totally unimpressed so far in this match. Ogawa pulls Xander back to his feet by his right wrist. Ogawa with a European Uppercut right upon Xander’s chin!.. But Xander wants more!

Xander Payne (Off-Mic): Bring that to me, you fat nerdy anime fan!

Komatsu Ogawa (Off-Mic):

Deadprez: Oh boy, here we go! Xander with a stiff open-handed chop to Ogawa! Ogawa with a European Uppercut! Xander’s turn! Ogawa’s turn! Over and over, unstoppable!

Gavin Kirkland: Yessir! We Wrestle.. We Wrestle.. We Wrestle! Xander begins to chop more as he takes more advantage against Ogawa! Ogawa begins to fall back to the ropes. His back finally leans against the ropes. Xander grabs and tosses him to the opposite side of the ring. Ogawa rebounds off the ropes and Xander goes for a Pop-Up Death Valley Drive-

Eve: BUT OGAWA GRABS XANDER IN THE MID-AIR BY HIS HEAD AND SPIKES HIM WITH A SINGLE ARM UNDERHOOK DDT!!!! A LONG ISLAND ICE-TEADDT!!! XANDER’S HEAD DRIVES TO THE MAT, ENDING UP IN THE DRIVER’S SEAT! OGAWA POPS BACK TO HIS FEET, RUNS OVER TO THE ROPES AND A SLIDING FOREARM SMASHES TO THE BACK OF XANDER’S HEAD! XANDER IS NOT DONE AS OGAWA BOUNCES FROM THE OPPOSITE SIDE AND CONNECTS HIM WITH ANOTHER HARD ONE TO HIS FACE! DOWN GOES XANDER THIS TIME!

Deadprez: This is Ogawa’s chance! Ogawa quickly pushes himself off the mat and heads down to Xander to pick him back to his feet. Ogawa pulls Xander back to his feet, sends a kick to his gut, and pulls him in… A SNAP POWERBOMB DROPPING XANDER TO THE MAT…

Gavin Kirkland: FLIPPING XANDER TO BOTH KNEES AND KAMIGOYEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!! DOUBLE WRIST-LOCK KNEE STRIKE RIGHT INTO XANDER’S FACE! WHAT A COMBO BY OGAWA! Xander falls! Ogawa grabs his leg and pulls it up for a cover! Is Ogawa going to move on to enter the Elimination Chamber by beating the Hall of Famer, Xander Payne???

Deadprez: Xander gets his shoulder off the mat! Xander is still alive! Ogawa is nowhere close to putting him down for good!

Eve: I really like how hard it is to beat Xander these days. Just like at No Regards, Ryan was at his best putting Xander down for good but unfortunately, Xander came out on top and showed how strong he is right now. He showed that he is getting better day by day.

Gavin Kirkland: Ogawa punches the mat like a madman as he gets back to his feet and snatches that innocent referee’s shirt collar in rage! Don’t hurt, you idiot! You are going to get disqualified!

Komatsu Ogawa (Off-Mic): Hey! That was three! THAT WAS THREE, YOU FAILED MATH?!

Referee (Off-Mic): Dude, that was two. I counted it. Job’s done.

Gavin Kirkland: Both elitists rise back to their feet. Ogawa throws a punch at Xander but Xander superkicks his right arm! Ogawa holds his arm in pain and turns back around to Xander. Xander sends a kick right to his gut, and pulls him in…

Deadprez: HOLY COMMUNION!!!!!!! A Crucifix Powerbomb dropping Ogawa to the mat! Down goes Ogawa but Xander isn’t done there, it seems!

Eve: You are on point, Prez! Xander gets back to his feet and drags Ogawa all the way down to the corner. Xander puts Ogawa in the driver’s seat, makes him lean against the corner, and steps back away… HEATWAVEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!! A CORNER CANNONBALL ON OGAWA! OGAWA IS OUT AND XANDER ATTEMPTS FOR A PINFALL THIS TIME!

ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!

Deadprez: XANDER GOES UNDERNEATH THE BOTTOM ROPE AND A BASEBALL SLIDE KICKS LUCAS’S TEETH IN! LUCAS’S BACK FALLS DOWN TO THE BARRICADE! XANDER IS UPSET! HE IS TIRED OF THIS KIND OF INTERRUPTION! XANDER GRABS LUCAS AND PULLS HIM IN… ‘LAST SEDATION’ ONCE AGAIN DOWN TO THE APRON! THAT’S IT! NO MORE! LUCAS MUST BE DONE THERE!

Eve: Xander rolls back inside the ring but what is Ogawa doing here? Ogawa throws a referee at Xander! Xander catches and quickly pushes him away into A LOW BLOW! OGAWA GETS HIS RIGHT HAND OFF XANDER QUICKLY, GRABS HIM AND ‘THE HIGHBALL’ KNOCKS XANDER OUT COLD!!! A DOUBLE HAMMERLOCK INVERTED BELLY TO BACK MAT SLAM SENDING XANDER DOWN TO THE GROUND! THIS MAY BE IT! OGAWA THROWS HIMSELF OVER XANDER’S BODY AND GOES FOR A COVER!

Deadprez: Ogawa can’t even believe it! A low blow and one of his signatures aren’t enough to put Xander down. Xander is on a roll! Xander isn’t going anywhere yet!

Eve: Uh oh. Ogawa gets more frustrated here after Xander is kicked out of those two moves he gave to Xander. Ogawa rises back to his feet and starts to pick Xander back to his feet. Ogawa slowly grabs Xander and attempts to lock him up with a Triangle Chok-

Deadprez: XANDER CHARGES OGAWA OUT OF NOWHERE WITH ‘OVERDOSE’ !!!! A MASSIVE PALM STRIKE GOES RIGHT ACROSS OGAWA’S JAW! OGAWA STUMBLES TO HIS KNEES BUT XANDER HANGS IT ON! XANDER HOLDS OGAWA’S ARM, PULLS HIM UP, AND ‘DAWNBREAKER’ BY XANDE-

Gavin Kirkland: Ogawa slides off his shoulder down to his feet. Xander turns around and OGAWA CATCHES XANDER WITH A OPEN-HANDED PALM STRIKE! A SPINNING BACK FIST! A ROUNDHOUSE KICK!… A RUNNING KNEE STRIKE! OGAWA WITH A COMBO THAT HE NAMED IT ‘HAPPY HOUR-5-

ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!

(DING DING DING!)

Gina Romano: Here is your winner and will be joining the Elimination Chamber for the Answers World Championship title… Xander Payne!

Gavin Kirkland: Damn, what an ending that I just watched! Ogawa was so close to pulling an upset against Xander but well, better luck next time! Congrats Xander and good luck in a fight for the title!

Deadprez: I feel like Elimination Chamber for Showdown this year is going to be very interesting, viewing from all the competitors that are entering this match so far. It’s going to be amazing, I can tell.

Eve: Poor luck for Ogawa here tonight but from now, Xander will have to prepare himself for that huge match that will be coming to him at Road to Redemption this year.

( ‘It Follows’ by Cane Hill plays throughout the arena as Xander rises back to his feet and the referee raises his right hand up to the air as he’s the winner of this bout. Lucas pulls Ogawa down from the ringside and tries to ask him for forgiveness but Ogawa shakes his head and yells at Lucas, signaling that he doesn’t care, and takes him to the back already! Xander continues to celebrate his victory over Ogawa as the scene fades to elsewhere. )

(Holly Arrow and Kyra Philips are seen backstage in front of two TV screens. Holly is dressed in TAPOUT clothing, clearly angry with compression tape on her shoulder. Kyra lifts the mic up to mouth level, and begins.)

Kyra Philips: I’m here backstage with Holly Arrow. Holly, how do you feel after what happened at No Regards? Are you disappointed by any chance?

Holly Arrow: Disappointed isn’t the right word for it, Kyra. Upset? Nah. Too light. I’m thinking something more along the lines of I’m ready to ram my head through a wall. Pissed off, and I mean I’m super pissed off about what happened at No Regards. You know how close I was, Kyra? So close, I could literally get a sense of what that dirty hag, Veena Adams smelled like. You know what it also smelled like? Victory. A chance for me to make my mark as one of the best women on Showdown, and it all came falling apart because of time. Time, something that in the first place— I shouldn’t even be worried about. I’m young, Kyra. I’m 23, and look how far I’ve gotten. I’ve faced champions, I’ve made myself known as a household name, but I want more. Look at the other women on this brand and look back at me, for Pete’s sake. Nobody is as much of a wrestling prodigy as I am. I stepped into this goddamn business at the age of 16, SIXTEEN! How many people do you know that could do that? So yes, if you are confused as to why I’m thinking about time this early on in my career, I don’t blame you one bit. I shouldn’t be thinking about time, and I know it. I shouldn’t be thinking too far ahead, like I’m one moment away from having my career ended— which is where it begins to change.

(Holly then cracks her neck, the compression tape moving as she does so.)

Holly Arrow: I’ve had my neck damn near snapped in two at King of Elite last season, all because I fell from the top of the ladder, which the more you think about it— is kind of poetic. I’m constantly falling from the top of the ladder, constantly too close and boom, next thing you know I’m too far. Any other man or woman would be driven to absolute madness, but here I am— still standing. Still alive, and still kicking. But if there’s one thing that injury taught me, is that anything can happen. That’s why I want to win now, why I want to hold gold and make my legacy the best it can be RIGHT-FREAKING-NOW! I want to be locked in, focused, able to achieve whatever Holly Arrow wants to achieve, because whatever Holly Arrow wants, Holly Arrow gets. That’s what I do, I GET. I grab, I hold gold and I raise it up the top of my head, but I’ve never got a chance to do it. I’m constantly debating whether or not I need to really continue trying to be ‘nice’ to most of y’all sons of absolute witches, but now, I’ve found the answer. We’re about to head into the new year, and if I don’t hold gold before the end of this damn season— I’m going to start cracking heads. I’m going to crack heads either way, but you don’t wanna see me pissed off, because this isn’t even half of it. What happened at No Regards will never happen again, believe me.

Kyra Philips: So, besides your loss to Lexi and Veena Adams, it seems like there’s another problem with Jake Smith and Chris Elite. What’s your take on that, and do you think it will ever be resolved?

Holly Arrow: And what about Jake Smith and Chris Elite, huh? What about them, Kyra? Did you not seem to listen to what I was trying to say earlier? I want to be locked in, focused. A hundred percent up here and physically when the time does come to it. Sure, I have a part to play in all of it, but right now— it’s either it works out or it doesn’t. Chris needs to come to his senses and understand that it’s either you win or you lose, and that Jake isn’t going to lie flat and let Chris pin him. That’s not how this company works, and that’s all I have to say on it. Focus, Kyra. Focus on me and my journey. Right now, all that extra stuff doesn’t matter because I have tunnel vision. I want to win and I’ll make sure it happens, no matter what.

Kyra Philips: Speaking of winning, it seemed like you were inches away from a victory at No Regards, and I’m sure you have some unresolved anger towards the two. Do you have any grudges against them?

Holly Arrow: Veena, Lexi— it doesn’t even narrow down to just them. I want to tear them both apart, much like I want to tear every single women’s competitor in Showdown, hell, in EAW a new one again and again and again. Nobody is safe. Veena is going to get hers, alright. That stinky old hag is going to get what’s coming to her sooner or later, and you know what? I say it’s sooner. I say I beat the living crap out of her the next time I see her, backstage, hell— even at the mall. She’s going to get the beating of her life the moment she decides to get in a ring with me. I only lost because I didn’t make it inside in time, Veena. You, you have never been able to pin me, nor will you ever. As for you, Lexi— I suggest you keep your disgusting little mouth away from any business involved with me ever again. You pathetic little raccoon eating twerp shouldn’t have lost like that. You took my chance at victory away from me more than Veena ever did, and the beating Veena’s going to have coming to her— it’s going to be doubled for you. I want to crack your skull open and watch as the particles come flying out of your mindless, empty little brain. Nothing you ever do is going to keep you safe from me, Lexi. Understand that.

Kyra Philips: I never really got a clear answer as to what you think about the Jake and Chris situation, Holly. With all due respect, may you give your insight on it?

(Holly looks at Kyra, visibly angry. She then takes a deep breath and continues.)

Holly Arrow: You want to know what I truly think about the Jake and Chris situation? Fine. It’s a shame. It’s a shame that we have to go through this, that the match had to end with Chris walking out on the BOTH of us because he was angry, pissed off about that loss but in reality, that’s partly what I want to see. I want to see a Chris Elite that’s actually pissed off about something, because that shows passion, drive and hunger— and when they sort whatever they need to sort out, we’re going to be a dangerous bunch. It’s also a shame that this has to happen in the time that I need to focus, and quite frankly— I want to smack him upside the head and kick him in the balls, but I think that anger is best reserved for somebody else.

(Holly then takes the microphone from Kyra, looming closer to the camera.)

Holly Arrow: And I’m not just talking about Veena or Lexi, I’m talking about anybody that wants to give me a hard time. It’s not going to end well for you, nor will it ever. I’m here to become a champion, and this season— that Championship Scramble is mine for the taking.

(Holly would hand Kyra the microphone, before looking at the camera with a determined look on her face, leaving right after as the camera fades to ringside.)

Gina Romano: Ladies and Gentlemen, the following contest has a twenty-minute time limit, and is scheduled FOR!

Crowd: ONE FALL!!

( ‘Sweet Dreams’ by Eurythmics, Annie Lennox & Dave Stewart plays over the sound system of Rod Laver Arena followed by loud boos from the crowd as the Woman Without Fear is making her way to the ring looking a big dejected. Dragging her feet as she makes her way to the ring and not looking like she hears the crowd at all.

Gina Romano: INTRODUCING FIRST! From Charlotte, North Carolina! Weighing in at 112 pounds:  HARPEEEEEEEEER LEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!

Deadprez: Wow, have you ever seen Harper in such a state before?

Gavin Kirkland: I don’t recall ever no! One’s thing for sure, Harper needs this win to bounce back from losing the Universal Woman’s Championship and get back into the title hunt!

( ‘The Lazy Song’ by Bruno Mars blasts through the sound system of the Arena and the crowd cheers on as The Most Wanted makes her way to the ring with a smile on her face.*

Gina Romano: ANNND HER OPPONENT! From St-Louis, Missouri! Weighing in at 112 pounds! MARY. S. ATLAAAAAAAAAAS!!!!!!!!!!000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000

Deadprez: Here comes the number one contender for the Universal Woman’s Championship! And she looks very much forward to what is the biggest opportunity to date here in EAW!

Gavin Kirkland: Tonight, she can score big points and gain a whole lot of momentum should she picks up a victory against the former title holder Harper! This is a good opportunity for Mary tonight, but it won’t be an easy fight!

( Ding! Ding! Ding! )

Gavin Kirkland: And Here We GO! This match is officially underway!

Deadprez: Hey that’s my line!

Gavin Kirkland: Whatever! This should be a hotly contested individual so this should be a very good match! Mary is circling around Harper who doesn’t seem that interested as they then lock horns and Mary quickly goes for a wrist lock! Harper tries to counter but it is reversed into a headlock by Mary! Harper tries to get herself free BUT MARY TAKES HER DOWN WITH AN MMA-ESQUE TAKEDOWN! Mary with the intro offense on her end as Harper gets back to her feet a bit lethargic BUT IS TAKEN DOWN BY A DROP KICK FROM MARY!

Deadprez: This isn’t a typical start for Harper who seems like she’d rather be somewhere else right now as she looks up to a more than ready Mary Atlas who’s in a bouncing fight pose right now. Wiping her mouth with an arm the former Champion gets up and tries to get her head into the game engaging in a clinch with the number one contender. Again, Mary with the upper hand as she twists Harper’s arm and pushes her against the ropes.

Eve: An Irish Whip follows by Mary who tries for a clothesline but Harper ducks low bouncing off the ropes! Mary hops over the former Champion while Harper ducks below AND GETS CAUGHT IN A SUNSET FLIP THAT SENDS HER FLYING BACKWARDS!! Mary is impressing right off the bat and Lee is suffering the brunt of it AND ATLAS QUICKLY POUNCES ON THE CAPTAIN WITH A SLEW OF FISTS AND ELBOWS FROM A HALF MOUNTED POSITION!!

Gavin Kirkland: What the frick is wrong with Lee? Does she even want to win this match?? Come on girl! Mary looks set to show just how eager and ready she is to face the Universal Woman’s Champion through this display of aggressivity. Harper will need to snap out of it if she wants to have a shot at victory tonight as Mary gets her up and moves her to a corner. She goes to the opposite one, charging going for a crossbody BUT HARPER MOVES AWAY!

Deadprez: Mary hits the turnbuckle and holds her face AND HARPER FOLLOWS WITH A RUSSIAN LEG SWEEP! AND THEN A LEGDROP but the kicks look only half-hearted despite the momentum having shifted to her side at the moment. It’s shocking to see Harper in that sort of way inside the ring as she looks to showboat a bit but this gets her an instant serving of boos from the crowd.

Harper Lee: Just like that!

Eve: She will need more than just that in order to dispose of Mary and she knows this. She looks down at Mary who’s picking herself up and grabs her by the hair whamming her head against a corner! BUT MARY BLOCKS THE SECOND ATTEMPT AND SENDS HARPER’S FACE INTO THE TURNBUCKLE!! AND SHE CONTINUES WITH THE FANS COUNTING!!

Crowd: ONE! TWO!! THREE!!! FOUR!!!! FIVE!!!!! SIX!!!!!! SEVEN!!!!!!! EIGHT!!!!!!!! NINE!!!!!!!!! TEN!!!!!!!!!!

Eve: AND SHE FOLLOWS IT WITH A GERMAN SUPLEX UNDER THE CHEERS OF THE CAPACITY CROWD HERE AT ROD LEVER ARENA!!!

Deadprez: Mary grabs Lee by the hair moving her to the ropes and whipping her to the opposite ones waiting for her in the center of the ring for a clothesline but Harper ducks now, spin, AND BRINGS MARY DOWN WITH A GERMAN SUPLEX!! Could Harper be taking control of the match now? She picks up Atlas, a bit lazily, and swings her with a snap suplex square on Mary’s back. This could be the start of something for Harper if she focuses rather than looking mentally out of the match.

Gavin Kirkland: Mary is slowly getting to her feet as Lee is waiting for her, biding her time before delivering a strong roundhouse kick that staggers Atlas! She stays on her feet but she’s shaken, Mary gets whipped into the ropes AND DRILLED INTO A SIT-OUT POWERBOMB!! COVER BY HARPER!!

OOONNNEEE!!!

TTTTWWWWOOOO!!!!

Gavin Kirkland: Mary kicks out of the move! This seems to disappoint Harper, shrugging she gets off Mary and moves her to her feet before whipping her into the ropes, tripping her into a drop-toe hold. She waits behind Mary who is getting up AND SHE GOES FOR A JUMPING REVERSE BULLDOG!! WAIT NO WHAT?? MARY REVERSED IT INTO CUTTER CULTURE!!! HER RKO COUNTERED THE REVERSE BULLDOG AND HARPER LOOKS SHOCKED AND STUNNED AT THE SAME TIME AS SHE WAS LAYING DOWN ON THE MAT!!

Eve: How did Mary even think about pulling out that move??? She’s struggling to get up, and Lee, as well as Mary, tries to go for a bouncing clothesline just as Lee got up BUT HARPER WITH A RED SKULL HEADBUTT THAT GETS MARY DOWN!! That came out of nowhere as Lee holds her head but the maneuver pays off as Mary looks stunned on the floor before her! Lee shakes her head, looking to rid herself of the cobwebs as she then moves to Atlas whipping her into the ropes. A well-placed dropkick gets Atlas down but the resilient little five-feet-one warrior is getting vertical already! SLING BLADE BY HARPER!!

Deadprez: Lee seems to have an idea while Mary is getting up, she goes outside on the apron stepping through the ropes, and waits for Mary whose back is facing her. Atlas slowly turns to be rather close to where Lee is AND THE CAPTAIN USES THE MIDDLE ROPE TO PROPEL HERSELF INTO A SPRINGBOARD SPEAR!!!!!

Gavin Kirkland: Harper looks to be trying to find herself again and right now she’s gathering some momentum but will she be able to maintain it against that little spitfire from St-Louis? She picks Mary up, down she goes with a scoop slam well executed followed by an elbow drop and what looks to be a lazy pinfall attempt!

OOONNNEEE!!!

Gavin Kirkland: Atlas kicks out of that one!

Harper Lee: Oh Come On!!

Eve: Harper can do better than that, she has to if she wants a shot at winning tonight, and despite having the upper hand right now against Mary who she forces to her feet and whips into the ropes before getting her into a sleeper hold! Mary seems to be fading slowly but on her feet before getting whipped into a corner upon which she holds herself BEFORE GETTING SMASHED WITH A RUNNING METEORA FROM HARPER!!! MARY IS BARELY HANGING ON WITH THE ROPES but Harper pulls her away and brings her down with a discus lariat!

Deadprez: Harper looking for her next move now she looks to the ropes moving to Mary, punching her a few times and then throwing her into the ropes only to trip her AND MARY LANDS ON THE SECOND ROPES! Harper bounces on the opposite ropes she’s going for the Tiger feint kick! She grabs the ropes AND LANDS THE MOVE TO PERFECTION! MARY ENDS UP IN THE CENTER OF THE RING and Harper goes to the ropes again, SPRINGBOARD MOONSAULT PERFECTLY EXECUTED ONCE MORE! Seems like she is gaining her confidence back again but she’s not at hundred percent just yet!

Gavin Kirkland: I think we can agree that if she were, this match would not be going the way it did now but regardless of her state of mind Harper is not doing bad for herself at the moment. Lee nods to herself, mouthing She Got This as he moves to Atlas and lifts her to her feet, clocking her head with a few elbows before moving to the ropes AND DROPPING MARY WITH A RUNNING SPRINGBOARD FLATLINER PLANTING ATLAS FACE FIRST IN THE MAT! COVER BY HARPER!!

OOONNNEEE!!!

TTTTWWWWOOOO!!!!

Eve: And Mary Kicks Out AGAIN! And Harper is not enjoying this one darn bit@ HANGMAN’S FACEBREAKeR BY HARPER FOLLOWED WITH ANOTHER COVER!!

OOONNNEEE!!!

TTTTWWWWOOOO!!!!

Eve: AND MARY LIFTS THE SHOULDER UP!!! Harper doesn’t look pleased as she is trying to figure out a way to put down her opponent for good. She gets up to her feet, hands on her hips she looks to be scratching her head as she looks down to Mary wondering why isn’t be staying down three seconds! This is time where Mary can recover but then Harper moves and grabs Mary, looking at the nearest corner AND SENDS MARY SMACKING AGAINST THE MIDDLE TURNBUCKLE WITH A BULLDOG!!

Deadprez: Harper looking to inflict more damage to Atlas as she hoists her up to the top of the post and moves along with her. What does she have in mind? No matter what it won’t good for Mary if she la… OH MY GOD THE DIRTY FIREWORKS!!! ONE OF HARPER’S SIGNATURE MOVES THE AVALANCHE SWINGING NECKBREAKER BRINGS THEM BOTH CRASHING DOWN HARD!!!!

Crowd: Holy Shit! Holy Shit! Holy Shit! Holy Shit! Holy Shit! Holy Shit! Holy Shit!

Gavin Kirkland: WHAT A MOVE BY HARPER WHO IS TRYING TO GET AN ARM OVER MARY FOR A COVER BUT ATLAS IS MOVING AWAY!! Harper is grunting in pain and frustration!!

Deadprez: Harper has been in control now despite looking her best mentally during the encounter, Mary needs to wake up despite having an aggressive start earlier in the right. Harper looked to take a breather as she rolled to the outside looking to argue with a fan who seems to be giving her lip and she seems quite vocal! Meanwhile, Mary is slowly picking herself up trying to locate her opponent and she does. She ponders her options quickly and goes to the ropes, running across the ring SHE GOES FOR A SUICIDE DIVE JUST AS HARPER TURNED TO HEAD BACK TOWARDS THE RING AND GETS DRILLED HEAD FIRST WITH A TORNADO DDT!!!

Gavin Kirkland: Is this the moment for Mary to make a comeback and get in this fight again? She goes to Harper, forcing her upward, and whips her against the railing! SHE THEN RAMS HER AGAINST THE APRON before rolling her inside the ring! Quickly into the ropes, she spins into a discus elbow as Lee gets to her feet! The move takes her down to a knee AND DOWN FLAT ON HER BACK FOLLOWING AN ENSUIGIRI!!

Eve: Mary looks laser-focused right now as she throws herself at Harper throwing punches at her before forcing her to her feet AND SWING HER OVERHEAD WITH A GERMAN SUPLEX! Perfect execution by Atlas who follows this with a snap single underhook front face lock drop! Harper could be seeing stars after this and Mary doesn’t look like she’s close to being done as she kip-ups to her feet and THROWS A ROUNDHOUSE KICK TO THE BACK OF HARPER’S HEAD!! Mary is living up to her middle name tonight!

Gavin Kirkland: What is it again?

Eve: Savage!

Deadprez: This is good for Mary as it produces offense that seems to be paying off at the moment as she is laying it out on Harper who seems to be out of gas despite having had a good portion of the match under her control. Atlas is showing her aggressivity and the fans love it here in Melbourne inside Rod Laver Arena! Mary with a handful of hair got Harper FLYING INTO A CORNER HER BACK FIRST WOAH! AND MARY WITH A CORNER CROSSBODY BEFORE THROWING HARD STRIKES ALL OVER HER OPPONENT!

Gavin Kirkland: The official is considering getting in the way but then Mary gets to the second turnbuckle and begins throwing hammers at Harper AND THE CROWD COUNTS AGAIN!

Crowd: ONE! TWO!! THREE!!! FOUR!!!! FIVE!!!!! SIX!!!!!! OH!!

Gavin Kirkland: HARPER WITH A DESPERATION MOVE AS SHE GOT ATLAS ON HER SHOULDERS WHAT IS SHE GOING TO DO AS SHE WOBBLES HER WAY TO THE CENTER OF THE RING?? MARY KEEPS ON NAILING HER HEAD WITH PUNCHES BUT HARPER IS MOVING FOR A POWERBOMB! SHE DROPS MARY BUT ATLAS HANGS ON!!! HARPER LIFTS HER UP AGAIN BUT ATLAS SENDS HER FLYING FORWARD WITH A HURRICANRANAAAAAA!!!!

Eve: Harper down on the mat but gets up rather quickly from the momentum and looking lost, she stumbles towards Mary WHO WELCOMES HER WITH A PELE KICK!!! ATLAS GOES FOR A COVER!!

OOONNNEEE!!!

TTTTWWWWOOOO!!!!

Eve: Harper kicks out!!! Mary was a second away from sending a powerful message to the Universal Woman’s Champion! Harper tried what she could to bomb Mary off of her but Atlas expertly countered with a hurricanrana that was incredible!

Deadprez: Mary looks at the official who confirms the two count she nods to herself, resolute and not frustrated. Looking down on Harper who is holding the back of her head Atlas moves her opponent upward before going into the ropes herself. SLINGBLADE AFTER HARPER TRIED FOR A CLOTHESLINE! DOWN SHE GOES! Lee on her hands and knees now AND TAKEN DOWN SOLID WITH A BICYCLE KICK!!! The back of the head is once more targeted by Atlas as Harper rolls on the apron trying to gather herself.

Gavin Kirkland: BASEBALL SLIDE BY MARY SENDING HARPER DOWN ON THE OUTSIDE FLOOR!! Mary quickly goes to the ropes she’s thinking about diving like she did before but she used the ropes to stop herself and lands on the outside apron seeing Harper move away BUT SHE SWIPED AT MARY’S LEGS TAKING HER DOWN ON THE APRON! AND HARPER FLAILS QUICKLY AT MARY LETTING OUT SOME FRUSTRATION!!!! The official is ordering her to get back in the ring and Mary rolls under the ropes getting away from Harper who slips inside quickly trying to get at Mary to keep on the attack.

Deadprez: Mary tries to block how she can and rolls to get atop of Harper now this match is turning into a brawl folks! Harper with a rake to the eyes of Mary who rolls away holding her eyes as Harper moves behind her, totally ignoring the official and goes for a double ax handle to the spine of Mary! She then harshly whips her to a corner before charging forth BUT MARY HAD MOVED A FEW STEPS AND MANAGED TO GRAB HARPER INtO AN EXPLODER!!! HARPER IS UPSIDE DOWN AGAINST THE TURNBUCKLES AND HER LEGS ARE HOOKED!!!

Eve: Uh oh! This doesn’t look good for Harper who tries to get herself free but can’t AND MARY SMASHES HER FEET AGAINST LEE’S FACE WITH A RUNNING DROPKICK HOLY COW!!!!

Deadprez: Mary’s back on the attack and this only means pain for Harper who’s still stuck with her feet! Mary goes for the opposite corner looking for another dropkick BUT SHE MISSES AS HARPER MOVED UP AND NOW SITS ON THE TOP TURNBUCKLE!! BUT LOOK AT MARY WHO CAUGHT HARPER IN A CRUCIFIX POSITION!!! POWERBOOOOOOOOOOOOOMB!!!! AND A COVER BY ATLAS!!

OOONNNEEE!!!

TTTTWWWWOOOO!!!!

Deadprez: How did Harper manage to kick out of that one?? She did, and this match continues! Mary picks up Harper with both arms AND GOES FOR A RIPCORD KNEE STRIKE THAT TAKES HARPER DOWN AGAIN! An impressive display of skills by Mary who then sets up Harper for what seems to be a bridging dragon suplex! Mary lifts NO Harper blocks with a leg! Club-like strike to the back of the head from Mary who tries again BUT SHE OVERSHOOTS! LEE LANDS ON HER FEET AND CLOCKS ATLAS WITH A DESPERATION SUPERKICK BEFORE FALLING DOWN ON THE MAT!!!

Crowd: This Is Awesome! *Clap! Clap! CLAP CLAP CLAP!*  This Is Awesome! *Clap! Clap! CLAP CLAP CLAP!*  This Is Awesome! *Clap! Clap! CLAP CLAP CLAP!*  This Is Awesome! *Clap! Clap! CLAP CLAP CLAP!*

Gavin Kirkland: Now both of them are down! Are they going to get back up? The official is beginning to make a count!

ONE! TWO!!

Gavin Kirkland: Both are slowly fighting to get on their knees.

THREE!!! FOUR!!!!

Eve: And they are looking at each other now, Mary throws a punch, and Harper throws one as well. Mary goes for a second, replicated by Harper again, AND THEN BOTH SUDDENLY BEGINS TO THROW DOWN AT EACH OTHER WITH A BURST OF SPEED UNDER THE CHEERS OF THE CROWD!! Harper gets the upper hand after both managed to brawl each other to their feed by throwing a knee to the midsection forcing Mary to lean forward AND SHE SENDS HER OVER HEAD WITH AN EXPLODER SUPLEX!!!

Deadprez: Harper looking for the edge to win in what has turned out to be a fascinating match between two talented performers tonight! Two warriors both deserving a win under the warm Australian sun! Mary looking to get back on her feet and into the fight following the exploder as Lee moves to whip her into the ropes. She calls for House of Balloons BUT MARY EVADES AND COUNTERS WITH CUTTER CULTURE!!! HER SIGNATURE MOVE STRIKES AGAIN!!!

Gavin Kirkland: Mary has a chance to end this right here and now as she moves to a corner and hits the mat with a boot, she is getting ready to end this with the Headshot superkick! She’s poised to strike, she can sense victory is near she’s eagerly awaiting for Harper to get vertical enough to perform the move and she goes for it!!

Eve: HARPER SAVES HERSELF WITH A MATRIX STYLE DODGE MANOEUVER!!!! Mary is surprised a little bit, she turns to face Harper WHO TAKES HER DOWN WITH DRAGON FIST!!!! THE RIGHT HOOK SQUARE ON THE BUTTON TAKES ATLAS DOWN!! Now it’s Harper who looks poised to strike! What move will she use and will Mary find a way to counter it?

Deadprez: Mary looks tired and in pain as she rises to her feet, holding her jaw. Harper looks tired and in pain just as much but she’s coiled up right behind Mary AND SUDDENLY SCOOPS HER UP FOR THE RAGNAROK OLYMPIC SLAM!!!!

Gavin Kirkland: Lee with a chance at finishing Mary off right now as she grabs her arms AND NAILS HER WITH SLEEPING ON THE FLOOR!!! THE ARM-TRAPPED CURB STOMP SMASHES MARY’S HEAD AGAINST THE MAT!!! MARY LOOKS DOWN AND OUT!

Eve: HARPER LEE WITH THE COVER!!! IS THAT GOING TO BE ENOUGH TO DO IT???

OOONNNEEE!!!

TTTTWWWWOOOO!!!!

TTTTTHHHHHRRRRREEE!!!!

( DING! DING!! DING!!! )

( ‘Sweet Dreams’ by Eurythmics, Annie Lennox & Dave Stewart plays over the sound system of Rod Laver Arena followed by a chorus of boos as Harper is getting her lead arm raised by the official. She looks quite happy with herself now, meanwhile Mary is slowly rolling to the outside looking disappointed. )

Gina Romano: Ladies and gentlemen the winner of this match: HARPEEEEEEEEER LEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!

Gavin Kirkland: And Harper Lee claims the win! The Captain emerges on top despite a sloppy start!

Deadprez: Not at all into it early on and with Mary being very aggressive out of the gate, Harper managed to find the ressources in order to emerge victorious tonight.

Eve: Let’s not take credit away from Mary though, tonight she showed a whole lot of drive and this she will need en masse heading towards her match against the Universal Woman’s Champion. Keep it up Mary!

( The final shot is of Harper with a smile on her face, confidence having found her once more while she looks towards Mary waving her bye bye as she makes her way backstage before the scene transitions. )

[SCREEN BAR – EARLIER TODAY]

(The scene transitions to the cute Mikaela Street sitting there with none other than her guest, Alex Myers. They went through a hellacious match last week at No Regards and was kind enough to give Mikaela this exclusive.)

Mikaela Street: Hello EAW Universe! I am Mikaela Street and with me is one of the hottest and rising talents in the EAW today, Alex Myers! So excited to have you here!  First off…. Thank you for taking the time to talk to me Alex.

Alex Myers: Thank you for having me, Mikaela; it’s my pleasure.

Mikaela Street: First question, how are you feeling after that hellacious match at No Regards?

Alex Myers: I’m hurting, obviously… But, it’s nothing that I’m not used to. Some minor injuries from the past were reaggravated — but not too bad. I’m medically clear as of this week, so at least that’s good.

(Mikaela nods.)

Mikaela Street: Everyone has seen your climb to the top and continue to instill yourself into the Main Event, but what was it like to be in the ring with two legends and Hall of Famers like Kassidy Heart and Impact?

Alex Myers: I’m honestly pretty surprised myself in how quickly I was able to climb my way to the top and in the way that I have been able to do it. My match at No Regards, being in the main event, and going up against the likes of Impact and Kassidy Heart… it was something really special. I don’t like Impact or Kassidy, but if one thing is for sure; it’s that I respect what they have been able to do in their careers, and it was an honor to go up against them in the main event of No Regards. I knew I was getting myself into a fight; and I made sure I brought the fight back.

(While Alex looks hurt, they definitely look confident and proud. Mikaela asks her next question.)

Mikaela Street: Everyone wants to know…. How did you find that Kangaroo? It was jacked!

Alex Myers: Heh… well, it’s a funny story really! I was just taking a walk throughout Australia during the week, and I had to take Buddy The Parrot with me, so while I was doing that, he suddenly spotted this HUGE Kangaroo! And well—

Alex Myers: Actually, it might be best I leave it there.

Mikaela Street: :oh: That definitely had me intrigued—

Mikaela Street: But… I’m sorry if this next question might be a bit of a change of mood, but I know that you are really disappointed with the outcome, what happened out there and what would you say to Jack Ripley?

(Alex suddenly feels themself getting a bit tensed up from the question, as the complexion of the mood has completely changed. They push them further back in their chair, as they let out a disappointing sigh, before looking back towards Mikaela with an annoyed expression painted across their face.)

Alex Myers: What happened out there… it’s simple; Jack Ripley, even though he said he wouldn’t, got greedy. He held a grudge, and he made it his mission in the end to personally screw Hurricane Hawk and join the fun everyone was having. I got left hanging, and with everything that happened from what Heidi Huxley did, to what Jack Ripley did, I wasn’t going to be able to hang on much longer. It took a low blow from someone not even in the match, to a two on one assault, to Jack Ripley leaving me in the dust to put me out of my misery. And because of that… Hurricane Hawk lost his job…

Alex Myers: Is there anything that I have to say to Jack Ripley? Yes, there is; Jack… what is your problem? Everyone truly knows why you did what you did at No Regards. You got greedy for the Answers World Championship, and when you couldn’t have that, you left Hurricane Hawk in the dust, because you couldn’t let go of a personal grudge, despite the fact you saying throughout this week that he was making it up to you. You didn’t have to respect him, but he gave you that opportunity for a reason — and yet you ruined it, and you are now going to be one of the main reasons as to why Showdown is going to go to crap with whoever is going to be in power now. You messed with the wrong Guardian Angel.

(Mikaela is a bit taken away after hearing what Alex had to say, but rightfully so — after everything that had transpired at No Regards, Alex’s frustrations and annoyance of everything that had happened. Mikaela would look back towards Alex, and look to continue on with the questions.)

Mikaela Street: Now that Hurricane Hawk is gone, what would you like to say to him? Heidi Huxley? Maybe even the new possible General Manager?

Alex Myers: Hurricane Hawk… if you’re listening to this right now, I just wanted to tell you that… I apologize. I know you put your trust in us, and yet, in the end, we weren’t able to keep it together. Jack got greedy, and he tricked me into believing it wasn’t going to happen — when I knew I should have seen it coming. Because of that, now you’re… gone… you’re no longer in power, and we let Impact and Kassidy get their way. It really does suck… but I think we know that sooner rather than later, we will see you back in power. It will only be a matter of time…

Alex Myers: As for you, Heidi Huxley, I don’t know what your issue is with me, or with Hawk, but whatever it is probably was not validated at all. I know that the last Showdown before No Regards, you had accidentally gotten into the crossfire and you got hurt because of that, but for you to screw over Hurricane Hawk for whatever reason… it’s petty. It’s severely petty on your part to be doing any of that in the first place. You dug a grave for Showdown, and it seems that you’re going to blindly bury it into that grave.

Alex Myers: And to whoever the new General Manager is going to be, whether it is Veena Adams, or anyone else, I already know what is going to happen before it already happens. Whoever is in power is going to get away with such abuse that they are going to use throughout, and they are going to go on a power trip. They are going to continue to let Impact and Kassidy run wild like they are now, so to whoever the new General Manager of Showdown is going to be, I just want to warn you; I’m personally going to make sure none of you get away with anything that can hurt the morale of this brand, and I will bring peace. One way or another.

Mikaela Street: Finally…. What is next for Alex Myers?

Alex Myers: What’s next for me? I already said it; I am going to bring peace to this brand, and I am going to make sure that the morale of this brand isn’t destroyed. I am going to make sure that people like Impact, Kassidy Heart, Heidi Huxley, and whoever the new General Manager may be — can’t bury Showdown. I am going to make sure that one way or another, Hurricane Hawk will be back in power… and I am going to make sure I get my hands on Jack Ripley. For everything he did, for all the turmoil he had caused, and to show him what happens when he gets greedy, and the price that he is going to have to pay for getting greedy.

Alex Myers: I… I think I said all that I can say, really. Thank you for having me, but I think I should probably get going right now — I still need some time to myself to think over everything that has happened.

Mikaela Street: That’s completely understandable, Alex — thank you so much for your time!

(Alex would nod towards Mikaela, before getting up from their seat, and taking the microphone piece out. They would look around the room, before taking a deep breath and walking out of frame, walking away and leaving only Mikaela Street to be left in the frame, as the camera would fade out from there to ringside.)

(The camera returns to the ring, where Gina Romano has her microphone in hand ready to announce the next match.)

Gina Romano: Ladies and gentlemen! This next contest is set for a THIRTY MINUTE TIME LIMIT and it is scheduled for ONE FALL!

Crowd: ONE FALL!

(“Invincible” by Pop Smoke starts to play throughout the arena as Chris Elite enters the arena to major cheers from the crowd, but there are a few boos because of recent history. Chris has his eyes and his focus on this match as he heads to the ring.)

Gina Romano: Introducing first! Making his way to the ring! From Brooklyn, New York! Weighing in at 210 pounds! Here is GAWD… GIVEN… GREATNESS! CHRIS ELITE!

Deadprez: This man tonight has nothing but focus and victory on his mind tonight. Ever since Season 16 started, Chris Elite has been looking to build momentum to get him right back in the World Title picture, but it seems like recently, he’s hit a little bit of bad luck.

Gavin Kirkland: I wouldn’t say that too loudly because you could become his next Box Office Smash. Anyways, Chris Elite is a very dangerous competitor who always brings the fight, but when he gets some momentum going, it gets immediately shut down. Unfortunately, it happened again at No Regards when Jake Smith picked up the victory in the Battle of the Haircare Kings.

Eve: Chris Elite is here tonight to show the world that this spell of bad luck ENDS tonight. Elite can certainly get the job done and he can change his fortune in a moment’s notice. He can certainly do it tonight, but his opponent is certainly no pushover.

(Elite enters the ring and takes his corner as his entrance music fades off. Moments later, “Blue World” by Mac Miller starts to play as Jack Ripley enters the arena. The crowd is letting him have it for what he did at No Regards with any negativity they can throw at him, but Jack could care less as he heads to the ring.)

Gina Romano: Introducing his opponent! From Las Vegas, Nevada! Weighing in at 205 pounds! Here is “THE STRAIGHT SHOOTER” JACK RIPLEY!

Gavin Kirkland: TRAITOR! TRAITOR! THERE’S THE TRAITOR! Come on, Chris! Show that traitor what a big mistake he made turning his back on his brand and his team last week. Beat the tar out of him.

Eve: You really need to lay off the caffeine or something, Gavin. Be that as it may, Jack Ripley gave his reasons earlier tonight as to why he did what he did. Tonight he is looking to get back on track with his career and pick up a huge victory over a very determined Hall of Famer.

Deadprez: Jack Ripley has this bad attitude nowadays, but he is also looking to get himself back into the title picture by any means necessary and that’s exactly what he will do to Chris Elite if given the chance. But don’t count Elite out. If Ripley gets too arrogant, it could spell doom for the Straight Shooter. Who will come out on top? We are about to find out!

(Jack enters the ring and takes his corner as his entrance music fades off. Neither Ripley nor Elite have taken their eyes off each other with this chance to build momentum and the chance to get a little measure of superiority over the other. The referee checks both competitors before calling for the bell.)

(DING! DING! DING!)

Deadprez: Here we go! Main event match of Showdown is underway! Elite and Ripley lock eyes in the center of the ring before they finally decide to lock up. The lockup doesn’t last very long as Ripley SHOVES Elite away. Ripley has a devious smirk on his face and that is getting on Elite’s nerves.

Eve: Elite not in the mood for any of Jack’s bull, so they decide to go for the lockup again AND THIS TIME JACK WITH A KNEE TO THE GUT AND THAT SENDS ELITE DOWN TO A KNEE! Ripley takes advantage and he just starts clobbering on Chris Elite’s back.

Gavin Kirkland: One shot after the other by that traitor sends Elite down to the mat. Newfound aggression being shown early by Jack Ripley. I might not be happy with Jack’s antics, but I can be an impartial commentator. Elite is down and Jack is just putting the boots to Chris.

Deadprez: Elite struggling early on in this match to find a way to get free and get the advantage in this match as JACK RIPLEY WITH A SOCCER PUNT SENDS ELITE ALL THE WAY TO THE ROPES AND OUT ONTO THE APRON! That punt could have broken a rib right there.

Gavin Kirkland: Elite is slowly getting back to his feet on the apron as Ripley is right there and locks his head and lifts him up in the air. Ripley is trying to suplex Elite into the ring, but ELITE IS KICKING TO SHIFT MOMENTUM AND IT WORKS! Elite lands back on the apron and ELITE LIFTS UP RIPLEY TO SUPLEX HIM OUT OF THE RING!

Eve: It doesn’t work as Jack shifts momentum enough so he lands back in the ring, but that won’t stop the creativity that Chris Elite possesses. Elite keeps hold of Jack’s head and drops down! Hangman style move catches Ripley’s neck across the top rope. Jack sent staggering back after that.

Deadprez: Elite has his bearing about him and he springs up to the top rope BEFORE HE FLIES, GRABS JACK RIPLEY BY THE HEAD AND DRIVES HIM DOWN WITH A BEAUTIFUL SPRINGBOARD BULLDOG! Nice move by Gawd Given Greatness as rolls Jack over AND ELITE JUST THROWING LEFTS AND RIGHTS INTO RIPLEY’S FACE!

Gavin Kirkland: Jack Ripley taken off guard with that flurry of offense as he tries to scramble over to the ropes. After everything that has been going down, Chris Elite wants this match to be the one to get him back on track. He is still throwing fist after fist even though the referee is admonishing Elite about the closed fists.

Eve: The referee is going to be pushed to their limits trying to enforce the rules to either man tonight in this match. As you can see, Ripley has made it to the ropes as the referee tries to pull Elite off of Ripley. Elite finally gets back to his feet since the referee started counting–

Deadprez: WHOA!! DID YOU SEE THAT! ELITE TOOK A SWING AT THE REFEREE! GOOD THING THE REFEREE DUCKED AT THE LAST SECOND! Whether that was intentional or not, Elite was dangerously close to getting disqualified right there. The referee is reprimanding Chris Elite and Elite doesn’t see that Jack Ripley has made his way to the top rope–

Gavin Kirkland: JACK RIPLEY JUMPS OFF THE TOP ROPE AND DRIVES HIS KNEES RIGHT INTO CHRIS ELITE’S FACE! ELITE MIGHT HAVE GOT A KNEE TO THE NOSE AS HE IS DRIVEN RIGHT BACK DOWN TO THE CANVAS! Elite is holding his nose in pain as Jack Ripley goes for the first cover in the match.

ONNNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEE!

TWWWWWWWWOOOOOOO!!

TTTHHHHHHHHRRRRR——

Deadprez: ELITE ROLLS HIS SHOULDER UP! Chris Elite could have a broken nose right now, but I don’t think he gives a rat’s patootie about that. Neither does Jack Ripley who mounts Chris Elite and starts throwing fists of his own as the referee tells Jack to open up the fists.

Gavin Kirkland: It seems to me that Jack is trying to prove a point or something with this aggressive attitude he is showing in this match, but he does open up the fists. It doesn’t last long as Jack starts to choke Chris Elite. Jack’s hands are around Elite’s throat and the referee once again admonishes Jack Ripley and his bending of the rules.

Eve: Jack removes his hands from Elite’s throat and brings him back to his feet. Jack CHOPS Elite right across the chest. ANOTHER CHOP ACROSS THE CHEST SENDS ELITE INTO THE ROPES! Jack whips Elite into the opposite side. Elite rebounds as Jack puts his head down for a back body drop

Deadprez: ELITE KICKS RIPLEY RIGHT IN THE SHOULDER! Ripley flung back from the force of the kick as Elite hit the ropes again and ELITE TAKES RIPLEY FOR A RIDE AND TAKES HIM DOWN WITH A HEADSCISSORS! Ripley tumbles to the ropes AND CHRIS ELITE WITH A DROPKICK SENDING RIPLEY THROUGH THE ROPES TO THE FLOOR!

Eve: There’s the momentum Chris Elite is needing to build for this match. Elite has a hand on the ropes waiting for Jack Ripley to get back to his feet. As soon as Ripley gets back to his feet, Elite jumps onto the top rope AND SPRINGS OFF THE TOP ROPE AND TAKES RIPLEY BACK DOWN TO THE FLOOR WITH A SPRINGBOARD CLOTHESLINE!

Gavin Kirkland: The back of Ripley’s head cracks against the floor and Elite is feeling it right now in Melbourne. Elite picks Ripley up and SLAMS HIM ON THE FLOOR! Elite taking this opportunity to cause some damage before going to the win as he brings Ripley back up to his feet by the hair and ELITE JUST SMASHES RIPLEY’S FACE AGAINST OUR ANNOUNCE TABLE!

Deadprez: Ripley on spaghetti legs as Elite puts him in a front facelock and walks him back to the ring and lifts Jack in the air BEFORE DROPPING RIPLEY UPSIDE DOWN SPINE FIRST AGAINST THE EDGE OF THE RING WITH A MODIFIED VERTICAL SUPLEX! Ripley comes crashing and burning back to the floor, almost landing on his head and neck.

Gavin Kirkland: Chris brings Ripley up and rolls him back into the ring. Elite pulls Jack to the middle and runs the ropes again AND JUMPS ONTO THE SECOND ROPE BEFORE HITTING JACK WITH A SPRINGBOARD MOONSAULT! ELITE GOT ALL OF IT DRIVING HIS KNEES INTO RIPLEY’S BREADBASKET AS HE HOOKS THE LEG!

ONNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEE!

TWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOO!

THHHHHHRRRRRREEEEEEEEE-

Eve: KICKOUT AT TWO BY JACK RIPLEY! Intensity and fortitude being shown by both men in this match as Chris Elite drags Jack back to his feet. Jack still a little loopy as ELITE TRIES TO FIRE OFF AN UPPERCUT, BUT JACK AVOIDS IT AT THE LAST SECOND!

Deadprez: Jack steps back and that sends Elite off balance as Ripley grabs Elite by the back of the neck and pulls him back. Ripley gets his arm around Elite’s neck AND JUST DROPS HIM WITH AN INVERTED DDT! Nice counter move by Ripley as he takes his turn to hit the ropes and CONNECTS WITH A LEG DROP ACROSS ELITE’S THROAT!

Gavin Kirkland: Elite is holding his throat in pain as he rolls over, but that leaves him prone to Jack Ripley WHO KICKS HIM RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF HIS SPINE! Jack Ripley is wanting to cause maximum damage in this match to make his statement loud and clear.

Eve: You probably don’t want to admit it, but he is off to a good start as he picks apart Chris at this point in the match. Ripley takes this chance to bring Elite back up to his feet and whips him to the corner. Ripley quickly follows and RIPLEY CLOTHESLINES ELITE RIGHT UNDER THE CHIN!

Deadprez: Ripley keeps Elite from falling to his feet by shoving him back into the corner. Ripley positions himself on the second rope and just starts punching him right in the skull. The crowd is counting along with the punches. Not because they like him, it’s because it’s almost tradition to count in this position.

Gavin Kirkland: The crowd gets to eight before Chris Elite grabs onto Ripley’s legs and walks him out of the corner, BUT NOT BEFORE FALLING BACK AND DROPPING RIPLEY FACE FIRST INTO THE TOP CORNER! WHAT A COUNTER FROM CHRIS ELITE!

Eve: Jack landed hard on the top turnbuckle as Chris Elite shoves him back into the corner. Elite backs up before running full speed AND GIVING JACK A CLOTHESLINE OF HIS OWN! Ripley takes a few steps before falling backwards and finds himself sitting in the corner.

Gavin Kirkland: That’s exactly what Chris wanted as he backs up again and runs full speed into the corner AND DELIVERS DOUBLE KNEES RIGHT INTO JACK RIPLEY’S FACE! HAWK EM CONNECTS AND CONNECTS HARD! Jack looks like he is on Dream Street as Elite pulls him out of the corner and goes for the cover.

ONNNNNNNNNEEEEEE!

TWWWWWWWWOOOO!

THHHHRRRRREEEEEE!

Deadprez: JACK RIPLEY GETS HIS SHOULDER RIGHT BEFORE THE THREE COUNT! The Hawk Em knees from Chris Elite could have ended the match right there, but the former Answers World Champion showing the fight that has brought him success in the past and this match is no doubt far from over.

Gavin Kirkland: He could have found more success if he didn’t ruin everything at No Regards, but I’m not going to go there because I am an impartial and unbiased commentator. Anyways, Elite has a handful of Ripley’s hair and spins him around and locks his arms around his waist.

Deadprez: ELITE GOING FOR A GERMAN SUPLEX BUT JACK LANDS ON HIS FEET BEHIND ELITE! Jack runs Elite to the ropes as he looks for a roll up, but Elite holds onto the ropes sending Ripley tumbling backwards. Elite comes off the ropes AND HE TAKES RIPLEY DOWN WITH A MODIFIED SLINGBLADE!

Eve: This is the game that Chris Elite needs to keep up in order to keep the match and momentum in his favor. Elite has been using his speed advantage really well in this match and it’s only going to get better from here.

Gavin Kirkland: Right now, Jack Ripley is using the ropes to get himself back to his feet, BUT HERE COMES CHRIS ELITE LOOKING FOR ANOTHER CLOTHESLINE–

Deadprez: RIPLEY DUCKS DOWN AND HE COUNTERS WITH A BACK BODY DROP AND THAT SENDS ELITE RIGHT OVER THE TOP ROPE AND RIGHT BACK DOWN TO THE RINGSIDE FLOOR! ELITE ALMOST LANDED ON HIS HEAD ON THE FLOOR OUT HERE! Just like that Jack Ripley is back in control of this match.

Eve: I thought that Jack would be following Elite out to the floor, but it looks like I stand corrected. He is staying in the ring and pretty much yelling at the referee to start the count. I guess Jack Ripley would be completely fine with a countout victory here.

(ONE! TWO! THREE!)

Gavin Kirkland: As we can see, Elite has not moved since that bad landing. I mean when Chris was back body dropped over the top rope, he completely had some hang time in the air before he overshot the apron and just crashed and burned.

(FOUR! FIVE! SIX!)

Eve: Chris Elite is slowly starting to move out on the arena floor and Jack is looking on in the ring with evil amusement because he is watching Elite in pain and suffering. That vicious attitude is on display right now.

(SEVEN! EIGHT!)

Deadprez: Chris is dragging himself to the apron and doing everything he can to make sure that he stays in this match. The last thing he wants to do is lose this match. The second to last thing he wants to do is lose this match via count out. If he was mad before, a count out loss would absolutely incense him.

(NINE!)

Gavin Kirkland: He is still doing whatever he can to make it back into the ring before the referee’s count reaches ten. It’s going to be a very close finish. Will Chris Elite be able to beat the referee’s count?

(TE–)

Eve: CHRIS ELITE JUMPS INTO THE RING AT THE LAST POSSIBLE SECOND! HE BEAT THE REFEREE’S COUNT, BUT JACK SAW IT COMING! AS SOON AS CHRIS LANDED IN THE RING TO BEAT THE COUNT, RIPLEY RAN FULL SPEED TO CHRIS AND CLOBBERS HIM IN THE SIDE OF THE HEAD!

Gavin Kirkland:  DAYLIGHT SLAYING TIME! THE RUNNING KNEE CAUGHT ELITE RIGHT IN THE TEMPLE AND ELITE CRASHES RIGHT DOWN TO THE MAT AND HE IS NOT MOVING! Ripley pulls Elite into the center of the ring and hooks the leg for the cover? Will it be enough?

ONNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEE!

TWWWWWWWWOOOOOO!

THHHHHHRRRRRRREEEEEE!

Deadprez: ELITE KICKED OUT! ELITE WAS ABLE TO KICK OUT! HOW WAS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE AFTER THE KNEES RIGHT TO THE FACE? That is Chris Elite for you. Fighting until the very end. Even Jack was a little shocked that Chris is still in this match.

Gavin Kirkland: Then again, it means that the punishment Jack can dish out can continue… and it will. Jack picks up Elite and brings him over to the corner. Elite brought back to his feet JUST TO BE DROPPED WITH A BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEX BY JACK RIPLEY

Eve: Elite is down again and now it looks like Jack has decided to climb right up to the top rope. This is not necessarily one of Jack Ripley’s most common attack locations, but when it hits, it hits!

Gavin Kirkland: Jack has found his footing on the top turnbuckle before HE FLIES AS HE ATTEMPTS THE MOONSAULT! BIG MOVE ON THE WAY BY RIPLEY—

Deadprez: NOBODY WAS HOME AS CHRIS ELITE ROLLED OUT OF THE WAY AT THE LAST SECOND, BUT RIPLEY FELT IT COMING! RIPLEY ACTUALLY LANDED ON HIS FEET! Ripley heads to Elite, who is taking a small breather in the corner. Elite was brought back to his feet the hard way by Ripley.

Eve: Ripley with a few chops to the chest for good measure before turning Elite chest first to the turnbuckle. Ripley backs up and runs full speed to the corner. SPLASH ON THE WAY—

Gavin Kirkland: THE EATERY STOPPER! ELITE SUCKERED RIPLEY IN AND WAITED UNTIL RIPLEY LEFT HIS FEET BEFORE CLOBBERING HIM WITH THAT UPPERCUT! Ripley sent flying back with that move. Now Elite is back in control. Elite picks the dazed and rocked Jack Ripley up. Elite locks his head and lifts him up in the air before DROPPING WITH THAT SUPLEX THAT ALMOST LOOKED LIKE A BRAINBUSTER RIGHT THERE!

Deadprez: Ripley looks like he landed on his head after that move, but Elite doesn’t care about that right now. He cares about picking up the win in this match and now it’s Elite’s turn to climb to the top rope.

Eve: Elite looking to finish the match right here AND ELITE JUMPS OFF THE TOP ROPE AND CONNECTS WITH A BEAUTIFUL 450 SPLASH! ELITE WENT BIG AND IT PAID OFF AS HE LANDED SQUARE ON JACK RIPLEY! ELITE TAKES THE CHANCE TO HOOK THE LEG AND GO FOR THE COVER! WILL IT BE ENOUGH?

ONNNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEE!

TWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOO!

THHHHHHHHHRRRREEEEEEE!

Deadprez: JACK RIPLEY GETS THE SHOULDER UP! HE LIFTED THAT SHOULDER OFF THE MAT RIGHT AS THE REFEREE WAS COMING DOWN FOR THE THREE COUNT! This has been a hard hitting and competitive matchup this has been between two of Showdown’s best competitors.

Gavin Kirkland: Jack Ripley isn’t exactly on anybody’s popularity lists, but we can all recognize that both Jack and Chris Elite are both able to create some great magic in the ring. This has been a very great match and it isn’t over yet.

Deadprez: Attitudes aside, Showdown is the brand you need to watch if you want the best wrestling matches. Anyways, Chris Elite has made it back to his feet after that 450 Splash. He grabs a handful of Jack’s hair AND THROWS HIM RIGHT INTO THE CORNER!

Eve: Elite now runs full speed to the corner, BUT HE PUTS ON THE BRAKES AT THE VERY LAST SECOND! Jack looks confused as ELITE JUST SLAPS HIM RIGHT ACROSS THE FACE! ELITE CALLS THAT THE I’LL SMACK THE… CRAP OUT OF YOU!

Gavin Kirkland: That move caught him right on the jaw and sent him sliding down in the corner. Elite tries to pull him back to his feet, BUT JACK GRABS ELITE BY THE FRONT OF THE TIGHTS! ELITE SENT THROUGH THE MIDDLE ROPE AND ELITE GOES SHOULDER FIRST INTO THE RING POST!

Eve: Elite grimacing in pain after his shoulder connects with the steel post AND JACK RIPLEY PULLS HIM OUT OF THE CORNER BY THE BACK OF THE TIGHTS AND QUICKLY ROLLS HIM UP! INSULT TO INJURY WITH A SCHOOLBOY ROLL UP! WILL JACK STEAL IT HERE?

ONNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEE!

TWWWWWWWWWOOOOOO!

Deadprez: HIS FEET ARE ON THE ROPES! JACK RIPLEY IS TRYING TO TAKE A SHORTCUT AND USE THE ROPE FOR LEVERAGE AND GET AN UNFAIR ADVANTAGE! COME ON REFEREE! NOT THIS WAY!

THHHHHHHRRRRREEEEEEE!

Gavin Kirkland: THE REFEREE SAW IT! I DON’T THINK JACK HAS A CLUE THAT THE REFEREE HAS STOPPED COUNTING THE FALL SINCE HIS FEET ARE STILL ON THE ROPES!

Eve: HE DOES NOW! THE REFEREE SHOVES JACK’S FEET OFF THE ROPES AND JACK IS NOT HAPPY AT ALL! HE IS BACK TO HIS FEET AND GETTING INTO THE REFEREE’S FACE! RIPLEY IS ARGUING WITH THE REFEREE ABOUT THE COUNT!

Deadprez: After No Regards, Jack isn’t afraid to tell certain authority figures exactly what he thinks of them. Especially if he thinks someone like the referee does something that Jack Ripley considers disrespectful to him.

Eve: He’s had enough time ripping the referee a new one and he goes to turn his attention back to Chris Elite–

Gavin Kirkland: WHO JUST KICKS HIS HEAD OFF WITH THE BOX OFFICE SMASH! SUPERKICK RIGHT ON THE MONEY! Jack Ripley gave Elite way too much time to recover with his little hissy fit with the referee and it might have cost him right there as Elite goes for the cover. The leg is hooked! Could this be the end for Jack Ripley?

ONNNNNNNNNNEEEEEE!

TWWWWWWOOOOOOOO!

THHHHHHRRRREEEEEEE!

Deadprez: JACK RIPLEY KICKED OUT! OHHH WOW THAT WAS SO CLOSE! I THOUGHT THAT THE MATCH WAS OVER RIGHT THERE, BUT RIPLEY MANAGES TO KICK OUT AT THE VERY LAST SECOND! ELITE CAN’T BELIEVE IT AS HE POUNDS HIS FIST INTO THE MAT WITH A LITTLE FRUSTRATION!

Eve: Elite thought he had the match won there, but this match will continue. Elite stays on the attack as he brings Ripley back to his feet, BUT RIPLEY OUT OF NOWHERE WITH A DOUBLE LEG TAKEDOWN! Elite down on the mat and THE SWITCH MIGHT HAVE BEEN FLIPPED IN RIPLEY AND HE IS JUST MAULING ELITE!

Deadprez: RIPLEY IS ATTACKING ELITE LIKE A MANIACAL PSYCHOPATH AND HE IS NOT LETTING ELITE GET EVEN A SECOND OF BREATHER! Ripley wants to end this match one way or another and make a statement while doing it. Now Chris is starting to fight back against the rampage that is Jack Ripley. The referee is having so much trouble keeping these two from mauling each other.

Gavin Kirkland: FISTS ARE FLYING EVERYWHERE AND I THINK THE REFEREE MIGHT HAVE GIVEN UP ON SEPARATING THESE TWO AND IS JUST GOING TO LET THEM BEAT THE TAR OUT EACH OTHER UNTIL ONE OF THEM FALLS!

Eve: ELITE MANAGES TO SHOVE RIPLEY OFF OF HIM AND GET BACK TO HIS FEET! HERE COMES RIPLEY AND ELITE WITH A DROP TOE HOLD SENDING RIPLEY INTO THE MIDDLE ROPE! ELITE PICKS HIM UP AND WHIPS HIM TO THE ROPES AS HE HITS THE OPPOSITE ROPES! ELITE LOOKING FOR THE ALMIGHTY PUSH POUNCE—

Gavin Kirkland: RIPLEY AVOIDS CONTACT AND HE COUNTERS  WITH A ROUNDHOUSE KICK THAT CATCHES ELITE IN THE SIDE OF THE HEAD! ELITE LOOKS TO FALL BUT RIPLEY GRABS HIM AND LIFTS HIM UP! RIPLEY HAS HIM IN POSITION FOR THE RIPPLE EFFECT! IF RIPLEY HITS THE VERTEBREAKER, THIS MATCH WILL SURELY BE OVER!

Deadprez: ELITE GETS FREE OF THE RIPPLE EFFECT VERTEBREAKER! ELITE LANDS ON HIS FEET BEHIND RIPLEY, WHO TURNS AROUND AND IS MET WITH A BOOT TO THE GUT BY ELITE! RIPLEY DOUBLED OVER AS ELITE PUTS HIS HEAD DOWN AND GRABS RIPLEY’S WAIST AND HOISTS HIM UP! RIPLEY UP IN THE AIR AS CHRIS LOOKS TO PLANT HIM WITH A SITOUT POWERBOMB–

Eve: RIPLEY MANAGES TO ESCAPE THE SITOUT POWERBOMB, GET HIMSELF FREE, AND HE LANDS RIGHT BEHIND ELITE! ELITE HEARD RIPLEY’S FEET HIT THE MAT AND GOES FOR THE BOX OFFICE SMASH AGAIN TO NOT GIVE RIPLEY A CHANCE TO RECOVER! RIPLEY DUCKS THE SUPERKICK AT THE LAST SECOND, GETTING CHRIS ELITE OFF BALANCE–

Deadprez: YOU’LL FLOAT TOO! JACK RIPLEY GOT HIS OWN VERSION OF THE SUPERKICK RIGHT ON THE MONEY! ELITE KICKED RIGHT IN THE JAW AS HE DROPS TO THE MAT IN A HEAP! ELITE MOST DEFINITELY DID NOT SEE THAT COMING! ELITE HAD HIS HANDS DOWN AND EVERYTHING! RIPLEY TAKES A QUICK LOOK AT HIS HANDIWORK BEFORE HOOKING THE LEG FOR THE COVER! WILL THIS BE ENOUGH?

ONNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEE!

TWWWWWWWWWOOOOOO!

THHHHHHHRRRRRRREEEEE!

(DING! DING! DING!)

(“Blue World” starts playing again as Jack rolls off of Chris to the sound of loud jeers and negativity coming from the crowd.)

Gina Romano: Here is your winner! JACK RIPLEY!

Eve: What a match we just witnessed here tonight between two legends of Elite Answers Wrestling. Both men showed exactly why they are both former World Champions.

(The referee raises Jack’s arm in victory before he snatches his arm away in disgust, leaving the referee to shake their head and walk away.)

Gavin Kirkland: He still has a horrible attitude and he’s still a traitor, but he did pick up the victory here tonight on Showdown. Both men gave it their all, but unfortunately for Chris Elite, this run of bad luck must continue one more week.

Deadprez: Chris Elite is a competitor who will always bounce back and fight his heart out. He did that tonight. He put everything he had into this match and almost walked away with the win here tonight, but it was Jack Ripley who will walk  away with the victory here tonight. Congratulations to Jac… WAIT A SECOND!

(The crowd goes absolutely crazy to see that Alex Myers has run through the crowd and is now in the ring. Jack wonders what is going on as he slowly turns around and he gets taken out with a clothesline from Alex.)

Eve: ALEX MYERS IS HERE! WE HAD A FEELING THAT ALEX WAS GOING TO BE HERE AND THAT ALEX WAS LOOKING FOR SOME RETRIBUTION! NOW THEY ARE FINALLY STARTING TO GET IT!

Gavin Kirkland: ALEX IS THROWING STRAIGHT RIGHT HANDS INTO THE FACE OF THE MAN WHO COST THEM THE ANSWERS WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP AND HURRICANE HAWK HIS JOB! ALEX IS NOT HAPPY AND THEY WANT TO MAKE JACK PAY!

Deadprez: To say the least, Alex is not happy and they are going to cause any pain they can in this moment and the crowd absolutely loves it.

(Alex is still throwing punches, but Jack manages to make it to the ropes and slide out of the ring to prevent further harm. The crowd boos more because they want to see Jack get what is coming to him, but Jack again doesn’t care as he starts to back up the entrance ramp.)

Eve: JACK RIPLEY MANAGES TO GET FREE AND LIVE TO FIGHT ANOTHER DAY! He is backing up the entrance ramp and he is probably not in a good mood that Alex Myers got the jump on him. I can’t say that Jack didn’t deserve it. Look in the ring! ALEX WANTS TO FIGHT SOME MORE AND THE CROWD DOES TOO! Now that Jack knows Alex is hot on his trail, he better be careful.

Deadprez: Ohhhh. Things are most definitely picking up here in this situation and it’s only going to get more intense from here. Jack managed to get away from Alex tonight, but if Alex has their way, this will not be the last time we see these two fight.

(The final shot shows Jack backing up the ramp with a look of anger on his face before cutting back to Alex, who is yelling at Jack from the ring and telling him to come back and fight them before the camera cuts to the final commercial break.)

(As the camera fades from the last commercial break, we see Heidi Huxley standing in the middle of the ring to a chorus of boos.)

Deadprez: We are back from our last commercial break, Jack Ripley was victorious over Chris Elite and now we have Heidi Huxley that came out during the commercial break, she is by herself in the ring and has something to address to the EAW fans and the Showdown locker room.

Eve: Heidi is the reason Hurricane Hawk is no longer the General Manager of Showdown after she betrayed Hawk by helping the team of Impact and Kassidy Heart. She has put this place into chaos!

Gavin Kirkland: I am willing to give her the benefit of the doubt, because truthfully she is someone that can turn this around and we should all give her a chance.

Eve: Really, Gavin?

(Heidi paces the ring a little before looking out into the crowd. They are reigning boos on her.)

Crowd: BOOOOOO!!!!!

(Heidi sighs, still pacing the ring.)

Heidi Huxley: I really thought better of the EAW Universe. To think that when the deal was made with Disney and the EAW, that this partnership would take the individual brands to new heights. Showdown for example had the absolute best draft….. ON PAPER. We had a bevy of top stars and one by one they have either gone or they failed miserably. Here I am thinking what is best for business, what should be the kind of programming that you, the fans should get to enjoy and call wrestling. Is what has been happening on the Blue Brand considered wrestling when the tagline is “WE WRESTLE”? No, that is why it is very disheartening and disappointing when I have to come and address not just the entire fan base but the locker room of Showdown itself.

(The fans continue to pepper her with massive jeers and boos, but all Heidi does it roll her eyes.)

Heidi Huxley: Did we all forget that the MOST IMPORTANT job in each brand is the General Manager! And Hurricane Hawk was NOT a stupid man, he was very smart at what he did… BUT…. BUT he allowed for the inmates to run the asylum and that was NOT going to fly with ME and Disney!

(A very angry and frustrated Heidi Huxley’s voice is loud and obnoxious. She turns and looks back at the fans and then the camera.)

Heidi Huxley: I had to do what was in the best of interest of YOU FANS! Showdown! The EAW! And Disney! And honestly I couldn’t have done it without these two individuals right here…. May I introduce The ANSWERS WORLD CHAMPION…. IMPACT and KASSIDY HEART!

(The rain of boos begin again as this time “M3tamorphosis” by Playboi Carti ft. Kid Cudi starts to play throughout the arena. Impact comes out first as he looks around and he then turns as Kassidy comes out holding a bag.)

Deadprez: And here comes the two who are responsible for the exit of Hurricane Hawk. Heidi helped them and here they are supporting her.

Eve: It’s disgusting and not fair. These two get away with murder constantly on Showdown and now they will be able to do whatever they want!

Gavin Kirkland: They are not bad people.

Eve: Stop!

(Impact and Kassidy continue to head toward the ring, sliding in and shaking the hand of Heidi Huxley, before standing next to her.)

Heidi Huxley: THESE two are superstars! They are the epitome of what an Elitist should be! They are the reason we get ratings! Along with a few others in the back, but they are the example, they are the reason Hurricane Hawk couldn’t handle his job correctly, because he couldn’t and wouldn’t stop what Kassidy and Impact envisioned! I didn’t see the light at first, until it blinded me in the face with facts…. And Disney? They understand. I know that some of you will disagree with that assessment, but honestly, do I look like it will bother me? Not in the bit.

(Heidi turns as Impact has the mic and looks out to the crowd and boos….)

Impact: Did you expect any differently? Did you think that we would still be standing here with Hurricane Hawk in charge? The man made so many enemies that even his chosen one, Jack Ripley decided to turn on him. It really is a sad state of affairs to see this as the one that was supposed to save his job but I’m not going to be too hard on Jack Ripley, considering he has been making the wrong decisions for quite some time that he finally made the right one. But see, the future is bright, we are going to have a new General Manager, we are going to see a new vision under Heidi Huxley. Don’t be upset, the locker room should see this as a great opportunity to have a fresh start and with me as the World Champion, which seeing the Elimination Chamber qualifiers have begun, this will only make things proven more that Kassidy and are the leaders of Showdown!

(The crowd blankets them with boos as Kassidy takes the mic, she then rolls out of the ring and stands in front of the announce team….)

Deadprez: Wait a second…. Kassidy what are you doing?

Eve: I don’t know what this is about…. But….

(Eve slowly stands up as the crowd bursts out into cheers….)

Deadprez: Eve…. Sit down!

Gavin Kirkland: Eve…. It’s not worth it!

(Kassidy holds the bag….)

Kassidy Heart: Oh, it’s going to be like this? Okay. I watched the match back last week and saw that you three were taking liberties at my expense when that stupid kangaroo jumped me and started to try and disfigure my face. You thought that was funny, right? Hilarious just like the rest of these people here because in my hometown I get attacked by a Kangaroo!

Eve: Yeah…. We thought it was funny.

(Kassidy’s eyes widen when Eve talks back to her.)

Gavin Kirkland: Eve… sit down!

Eve: No, I will not sit down because I am tired of people like her bullying the roster, I don’t care who your husband is. The Kangaroo spot was funny and I’m sorry if you are hurt by that and it poked at your ego a little, but what is your point in all of this, Kassidy? You still won the damn match.

Kassidy Heart: My point is that you three work for my husband, you three are under Heidi Huxley and the new General Manager. My point is that no matter what anyone does to me, I am the very best in this business and do you want to know what I do to Kangaroos that attack me?

Eve: What is that?

(Kassidy opens the bag, there is something wrapped in butcher’s paper as she throws it at Eve and it splatters all over her, it is a handful of Kangaroo steaks, Eve is covered in blood and meat completely shocked and horrified.)

Kassidy Heart: I make them into steaks.

(Eve steps out of the announcing team and heads toward the back to clean up, Kassidy starts to laugh, then turns to Deadprez and Gavin Kirkland. Deadprez now stands up as Impact leans against the ropes, the crowd erupts in cheers.)

Deadprez: Was that necessary you sick, twisted bitch!?

(Heidi Huxley’s eyes widened….)

Heidi Huxley: Prez….. I can fire you right now if you do NOT watch your language, do you hear me!

(Deadprez and Kassidy glare at one another before she starts to laugh and rolls back to the ring. Deadprez stays standing up for a moment, eyeballing Impact before sitting down.)

Heidi Huxley: Now that’s settled, I think it is time to introduce the new General Manager of Showdown. I have had some very interesting candidates, one of them in particular is none other than Veena Adams. Now Veena is a very smart woman, she knows the business and most importantly has had a great influence in the managerial position before on both Voltage and Dynasty. Veena exemplifies what I like to call a working General Manager, someone that knows the product both in and out of the ring. I am a firm believer of this little thing called the conflict of interest and while she is competing as a member of the Showdown roster, she will eventually have to make a choice, the transition to the main office, or stay in the ring, but Veena right now is an asset to me personally. I talked to Veena Adams earlier and I value her expertise and with that said, she will be my personal advisor to help me better understand the business. Veena…. Come out here!

(“7 Rings” by Ariana Grande starts to play throughout the arena as the crowd boos, Veena Adams walks out in a pink suit and Louboutin heels.)

Deadprez: Here we go.

Gavin Kirkland: Maybe we should stay silent here, Prez.

(Heidi claps as Veena makes her way to the ring and through the ropes. The two ladies shake hands, though Veena and Kassidy don’t like each other, they at least stay civil.)

Veena Adams: Thank you Heidi! Even though I do prefer to be the General Manager, I understand your position, but giving me the opportunity to be your personal advisor and be a part of the process is actually an incredible chance for me to show you and the rest of the EAW and Showdown brand that I cherish each and every single wrestler back there and the staff which makes the show happen. I want to give back and since I am now part of the National Elite Championship Scramble, I will springboard myself to the Number One Contendership and show everyone that I too can be a champion. I am really excited to be a part of your staff moving forward Heidi.

Heidi Huxley: As we are all. And with that said, I have had to look far and wide for someone to be the General Manager which saw the same vision that Disney and the EAW need. Someone that would take the reigns of this company, someone that would show not only sass and class….. but this person knows the business with 15 years of experience in the ring, a former world champion on multiple occasions and someone that while they may not be known in the circles of the EAW, they are an international star. This person has been in Hollywood movies, they transitioned from wrestling to one of the biggest social media presences of all time. I have had my eye on this certain individual for a long time and will fit right in with the vision we have as they have been part of the Disney Movie family for a long time and one of the absolute best wrestlers I have ever seen. She is mine and Veena Adams’ choice….. KENNEDY STREET!

(The crowd stands and erupts in shock; the wrestler and international star  is actually in EAW. “Her” by Megan Thee Stallion (The clean version) starts to play as the gorgeous Kennedy walks out with her long blonde hair flowing, black dinner dress carrying her little Chiweenie, Poppy. She waves making her way toward the ring.)

Deadprez: You have got to be kidding me. One of the most annoying women on the planet, probably more annoying than Veena Adams herself is the General Manager of Showdown!? This is a nightmare.

Gavin Kirkland: Kennedy is here! She is stunning, absolutely amazing in every way! Look at her, Prez! She is not only one of the best in the ring, now she is our boss!? I can get into this!

(Kennedy pays no attention to the rest of the crowd, instead walking up the steps, Impact holds the ropes down for her as she steps in, first shaking Impact’s hand, then Kassidy. She goes over to Veena as the two hug and then the same with Heidi Huxley before given the mic.)

Kennedy Street: First thing we are going to do honey is make sure these rings get burned and we get new ones, Kennie knows that this is the Blue Brand, but moving forward we are going to make this the Pink Brand. Secondly, I must admit honey, that I have always had my eye on the EAW. Wrestlers like Minerva used to be in the same circles as me, and when I saw her success, I knew this was definitely a place to watch. I mean, the outside world doesn’t hold a candle to the talent here, honey. Impact, one of the greatest World Champions of all time. Kassidy Heart, arguably the greatest female to ever lace the wrestling boots. Veena Adams a future champion and one day General Manager…. Oh, and my shopping partner in crime. Then finally there is none other than Heidi Huxley and truth be told, when you called me, I was sold right from the start honey. See, I left the swamps that want to call themselves professional wrestling organizations a long time ago and have been looking for a way to get back in. So, while I was sipping my Merlot, getting my mani/pedi and talking to Poppy here, Kennie was always waiting for that moment to present itself and here we are. Now, what I would love is for all of you to shut the hell up right now …. SO, I CAN TALK AND NOT HAVE TO RAISE MY VOICE AND STRAIN MY VOCAL CHORDS HONEY!

(The crowd boos as Heidi is seen saying something to Kennedy who nods.)

Kennedy Street: As I was saying, there is massive talent in the back. Honey, trust me I know talent better than anyone and we are going to start out by making something’s right away. I already started talking to the other General Managers and Commissioners of Dynasty and Voltage, you know what Showdown is missing as of late which they have lost in recent months? GOLD. So, my first priority is to bring back some championships to the Brand….. and remind everyone why….

(She starts to laugh some….)

Kennedy Street: WE WRESTLE!

(Impact, Kassidy, Veena, and Heidi all start to chuckle and sarcastically laugh with the new General Manager when suddenly….. “WAR” by Grandson starts to play throughout the arena. The crowd starts to cheer loudly as Jake Smith walks out holding the Cash in the Vault. Impact stares him down as Jake points to it.)

Deadprez: JAKE SMITH IS HERE AND HE IS ABOUT TO MAKE A STATEMENT! HE WANTS THAT TITLE AND HE IS LETTING IMPACT KNOW! THE NEW GENERAL MANAGER TURNS AND LOOKS AT JAKE SMITH WITH A SMILE ON HER FACE WHILE KASSIDY HOLDS IMPACT BACK! WE ARE OUT OF TIME…. GOODNIGHT EVERYONE!

(Jake Smith makes the signal for the World Championship around his waist as Impact tells him to get in the ring.)
