(EAW Intro plays…)
(RECAP–The recap gives a replay of all the entertaining action that Showdown provided last week from the Yaounde Multipurpose Sports Complex in Yaounde, Cameroon. The show starts off with Jack Ripley and Alex Myers officially making their team official for No Regards. The first match had the debuting Major Scotty Cannon convincingly defeat Lila Vandran. Then Hurricane Hawk is shown making numerous matches for the No Regards event. The next match is Voltage vs. Showdown as Mary S. Atlas picks up the victory over the visiting Kenn Kenn in singles action. Then backstage, Holly Arrow, Lexi, and Veena have a little confrontation which leads to Heidi Huxley making a triple threat match at No Regards between the three ladies. Next Jon Kelton picks up the win against a game Hunnid Honcho. Next, Mikaela Street has a sit down interview with Abel Atami and Antonne Prudence, but there is still a little tension between the two men during the interview. The next match is Kassidy Heart defeating Ryan Wilson by referee’s stoppage. Afterwards, Jon Kelton is backstage wanting an opportunity to prove himself again, so he offers the challenge to Adam Lucas, who happily accepts. The next match is another Voltage vs. Showdown match as Alex Myers defeats TLA, who was distracted by the playing of Drake King’s entrance music. Then we have the Haircare Kings and Holly Arrow back in the locker room. There was a little tension between the trio, but they eventually get on the same page for their match at Justified Reckoning. Finally, the main event has Xander Payne facing Jack Ripley with Impact and Kassidy Heart on commentary. Xander Payne wins by disqualification after being attacked by Impact and Heart. After throwing Xander out of the ring, they start attacking Jack Ripley before Alex comes to the ring to even the odds, but it still proves to be not enough as Impact and Kassidy Heart leaves Alex and Jack out in the middle of the ring before soaking in the satisfaction of their work as the recap ends…)
(“Brick Wall” by A Day to Remember starts to play throughout the arena while the camera pans across this sold out crowd, who are all on their feet in the Standard Bank Arena in Johannesburg, South Africa as they are all ready for the action of Saturday Night Showdown to begin. The sound is almost deafening in the arena here tonight as the camera slowly goes throughout the arena showing all the loyal and devoted EAW fans in attendance that are all through sold out arena holding up their many many signs and wearing the shirts and other merchandise of the EAW Elitists love and support the most before settling down at ringside where Eve, Deadprez, and Gavin Kirkland are sitting at the commentary table before they start to call all the amazing Showdown action.)
Deadprez: Welcome to SATURDAY! NIGHT! SHOWDOWN! We are two weeks away from No Regards, but there’s no doubt the action will be fast paced and hard hitting. As always, I am Deadprez and alongside the beautiful Eve and the energetic Gavin Kirkland, we will be with you the entire night. I am so excited for tonight’s show.
Gavin Kirkland: WE WRESTLE!! Of course I am excited for tonight’s show. There is so much action on the card that I almost can’t even believe it. Can you tell how excited I am for tonight?
Eve: Yeah, I can tell and I think everybody listening at home can tell. There is a lot of action. We will be hearing from Jack Ripley and Alex Myers no doubtedly about what happened last week and about what will happen at No Regards. I also heard that we will be hearing from Ryan Wilson later tonight.
Deadprez: That’s going to be very interesting to say the least. We will also be hearing from Harper Lee as she goes into Dynasty’s Justified Reckoning to defend the Universal Women’s Championship against Sienna Jade. We heard last week that Donovan Duke will be defending the National Elite Championship at No Regards, but tonight, we hear who the lucky challenger will be.
Gavin Kirkland: The matches, Prez! WE NEED TO TALK ABOUT THE MATCHES! How about our No Regards Gauntlet preview match. Abel Atami is taking on the rookie Major Michael Scott Cannon. Scotty had an impressive match last week against Lila Vandran, but Abel is a different story. We also have a big match with Jon Kelton taking on Jake Smith. Both are looking to build momentum towards No Regards and a victory here will be a great start.
Eve: Very true, but that’s not all the action we have here tonight. The Best of the World Challenge is back! Xander Payne has another challenger ready to step up to the plate. Xander Payne is taking on Chris Elite. Elite has had a little bit of a rough patch as of late, but a victory tonight would be amazing to get him back on track. I think Elite has what it takes to win the Best of the World Challenge.
Deadprez: Great matches on tap to say the least, but we can’t forget about our main event. Holly Arrow is in action in possibly one of the biggest matches of her career. She’s taking on the Answers World Champion Impact, but we can’t forget that Kassidy Heart will no doubt be at ringside. Both have important matches at No Regards and would love to have a big victory going into Sydney. Now how about we get everything started and take it up to the ring.
(The camera pans to the ring where Mikaela Street stands with a smile on her face and the mic in hand.)
Mikaela Street: GOOD EVENING SOUTH AFRICA!
Crowd: EAW!!!! EAW!!!! EAW!!!!!
Mikaela Street: Can you please welcome at this time…. ALEX MYERS!!!!
(“Manners” by BAND-MAID starts to play throughout the arena as the crowd begins to cheer. Alex Myers runs out to the ring; they slide under the ropes and stands on the second rope before dropping down and walking over to Mikaela Street.)
Mikaela Street: And their partner at No Regards….. JACK RIPLEY!
(“Blue World” by Mac Miller plays as Jack slowly walks out. He gets a mixed reaction as Jack smirks, heading to the ring, slowly sliding in as he stands up and is on the other side of Mikaela Street.)
Mikaela Street: Thank you for you two joining me out here tonight. It is now official and next week the contract signing will happen with Hurricane Hawk against your opponents, Impact and Kassidy Heart. But the question that everyone wants to know right now is how is this team going to get along? With so much at stake, this could be the job of Hurricane Hawk if you two lose.
(Alex decides to take the first question.)
Alex Myers: There are many that have been asking this question Mikaela and honestly, I do not blame them. Everyone wants to know what is happening between Jack and I, can we work out, can we not, will this teamwork considering we are two people on the opposite side of the spectrum, etc. And there is an added wrinkle, Hurricane Hawk’s job is on the line as well? There is a lot of pressure here on both our backs and though I’m not stupid, I can see that Jack Ripley doesn’t really care for Hurricane Hawk, what we can both agree on is that Hawk is the Devil we know compared to the Devil we do not know. At this point of the game, we know what is expected of us and honestly Mikaela, Jack and I do not need to like each other, all we have to do is work together.
(The crowd cheers as Alex looks out and nods. Jack though doesn’t say anything, instead he paces some, Mikaela though turns her attention to him.)
Mikaela Street: Jack Ripley. You are a future hall of famer; many are talking about your match with Impact at Territorial Invasion as a Match of the Year Candidate. There are manty who thought you had won that match, but Impact was able to get his shoulder up at the last second. Your confrontations with Hurricane Hawk are well documented and your troubles with both Kassidy and Impact this season are center stage. Your thoughts?
(Jack chuckles a little….)
Jack Ripley: That is what everyone wants to know, my thoughts. Let’s first start off by saying that I don’t care about Hurricane Hawk’s job, BUT…. BUT like Alex said, this is all about the devil we know. We don’t know what could happen if Hawk lost his job, I sure as hell do not want some Disney execs to take over, that is the last thing we need. But this is about ME. This is about what Kassidy Heart and Impact has done this season and in seasons past. I am so sick and tired of them running around doing whatever they please that they need to be stopped and if that means I must save Hawk’s job in the process in Kassidy Heart’s Hometown? Then so be it. See, Mikaela, this really isn’t as difficult and complex as it looks. The enemy of my enemy is my friend probably is the best scenario that anyone can come up with. I will say that it is a far cry from Alex and I being friends, but I can at least have a common goal and understanding with this kid.
Mikaela Street: So are you saying that you two will be able to work together as a tag team against a common enemy and that will result in saving Hurricane Hawk’s job?
Jack Ripley: Yeah I am. Listen closely though Alex, because this needs to be said. I don’t like you, I don’t want you to succeed. I could care less what you do after No Regards and I would kick your ass in the ring if I have too, but for October 29, 2022? Well that is a different story and I am willing to put my differences aside to take down those two who think they own this place and do not own a damn thing.
(The crowd cheers in unison as Alex nods….)
Alex Myers: And you already know how I feel Jack and what this means to me. Since losing the New Breed Championship I have elevated my game and this is not any different. I have all the confidence in the world that both Jack and I can go out there and win, but not just win, but score what many may call a major upset, but is it really? Look at Jack and what he has done. We are an odd couple, we are not buddies or friends, but we are both on the same page and that is all I want or need.
(Alex reaches out his hand at Jack Ripley, they both stand there and Jack is looking on, glaring at the hand for a second before he finally nods and they shake hands. The crowd erupts in cheers as Mikaela Street smirks….)
Mikaela Street: And there you go EAW fans! Jack Ripley and Alex Myers are united against Impact and Kassidy Heart! We will have so much more to come after this!
(“Blue World” by Mac Miller plays as Jack leaves the ring and starts to make his way to the back. Alex Myers stays in the ring and points to the fans as they continue to cheer him on as it fades to a commercial break.)
(Saturday Night Showdown fades back into the arena where Gina Romano is seen standing inside the ring with a smile on her face, ready to announce the first match of the night!)
Gina Romano: The following is a NO REGARDS GAUNTLET PREVIEW MATCH! And it is a singles bout scheduled for…
Crowd: ONE FALL!!!
(‘Bad Man’ by Polo G is heard playing through the speakers to boos while Abel Atami is seen making his way out, with Antonne Prudence following behind him. Antonne is yelling words of encouragement toward him while Abel is looking dead at the ring, cracking his knuckles and popping his neck before then beginning to make his way down the ramp like he’s a man on a mission.)
Gina Romano: Introducing first… from Upolu, Samoa… weighing in at 251 pounds… ‘THE CAESAR OF THE ISLANDS’… ABEL ATAMI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(‘Sweet Emotion’ by Aerosmith is then heard blasting through the speakers while the camera is greeted to Major Michael Scott Cannon who bursts out from the backstage area and begins to make his way out to the stage. He stands stoically in place for a moment before scanning the crowd who is excited for the match here tonight. He then begins to march down the ramp, ready for a fight in his debut.)
Gina Romano: And his opponent… from London, Ohio… weighing in at 210 pounds… ‘MAJOR’ MICHAEL S. CANNON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(DING! DING! DING!)
Deadprez: And here we go, as this No Regards Gauntlet match preview is officially underway! I’m sure both of these competitors are walking into this one with a point to prove especially considering this opportunity to show that they are indeed Championship worthy. Major Michael Scott Cannon is beginning to confidently make his way out of his corner, looking to impress in his debut match, meanwhile, Abel Atami seems to not have a care in the world making his way toward the center of the ring. I don’t think he takes Michael very seriously, and we all know in the past how that’s turned out for certain Elitist.
(Michael raises his hand to engage in a lockup, looking to start this one properly. But Abel shakes his head, instead bringing his hands behind his back and leaning forward.)
Gavin Kirkland: What the heck is this guy doing?! Is he insane?! ATTACK HIM!
Eve: Well it seems like confidence might be ‘The Caesar of The Islands’ downfall right now as it looks like he’s giving the debutee a free shot. AND MICHAEL CERTAINLY DOES THAT AS HE REELS HIS ARM BACK AND CONNECTS WITH AN ABSOLUTELY BRUTAL LARIAT! That doesn’t take Abel down but it certainly has an effect. Michael knows he’s going to have to do more though, knowing the odds that he’s up against with the raw power of Abel Atami, but at the same time, he has the strength to compensate for what he lacks which is what he’s looking to show as well. Abel holds his ground now, before stepping forward and going for a boot toward his abdomen- But Michael manages to snatch a hold of the leg before it can connect, driving an elbow into the knee of Abel that sends a surge of pain rushing through him! Abel falls against the ropes, BEFORE HE IS SENT ABOVE THE TOP ROPE AND TO THE RINGSIDE AREA WITH A HUGE CLOTHESLINE FROM THE MAJOR!
Gavin Kirkland: Well I can agree this is a great showing, but man what an idiot Abel is. Michael drops down and rolls out of the ring while Abel leans against the barricade trying to find a way to recover. He swings a punch- But Michael manages to block it before sending a stiff one back toward his face! Abel is left reeling while Michael goes under and grabs him around the waist, BEFORE RUNNING HIM FORWARD AND RAMMING HIM INTO THE BARRICADE! That certainly had to hurt, but that doesn’t seem to stop Abel as much. You can see him gritting his teeth and fighting through the pain, before slamming a punch toward the back of Michael’s head to loosen his grip! Abel then lifts him up off the ground, BEFORE RUNNING HIM FORWARD AND SLAMMING HIS SPINE INTO THE EDGE OF THE APRON!
Deadprez: Yikes, I could feel that for here and I’m the one at commentary. Abel continues to keep him off the ground before laying Michael down on the apron and pushing him into the ring. Michael stumbles backward to create distance and get himself back up to his feet, meanwhile, Abel rolls in and begins to approach him. Michael attempts to throw a groggy punch- But Abel ducks under it, BEFORE GRABBING HIM BY THE WAIST AND LIFTING HIM UP BEFORE DROPPING HIM DOWN TO THE CANVAS! He tries to situate himself so he can cinch in a grounded headlock onto Michael, but the Major wants none of that, immediately shoving away and rolling himself back up to a kneeling position. Abel is back up as well, wasting no time grabbing Michael by the head, AND LIFTING HIM UP INTO A SUPLEX THIS TIME-
Eve: But Michael once again is one step ahead as he sends a knee down onto the top of his head which forces him to bring him down! Abel steps forward, ONLY FOR MICHAEL TO LEAP INTO THE AIR AND CONNECT WITH A DROPKICK TO HIS CHEST! Once again, Abel manages to keep himself on his feet, but Michael is going to make sure that his foot is pressed firmly on the gas pedal by running toward the ropes… ONLY FOR ABEL TO CATCH HIM AND LAUNCH HIM 10 FEET UP INTO A BACK-BODY DROP! That certainly was not a pleasant landing for Major Michael Scott Cannon, and Abel looks to exemplify that as he goes behind him and heaves him up, LIFTING HIM UP AND DROPPING HIM DOWN INTO A GERMAN SUPLEX! He isn’t done though, keeping a hold of that waste while rolling Michael back up to his feet, LOOKING TO CONNECT WITH A SECOND ONE FOR GOOD MEASURE-
Gavin Kirkland: But Michael saw it coming and quite frankly is having none of it as he slams an elbow into his face to force him to loosen his grip! Abel keeps a hold of him, but that shot was enough for Michael to slip out, AS HE GOES UNDER AND SWEEPS THE LEG OF ABEL TO DROP HIM DOWN TO THE MAT! Abel clutches at his back but finds himself immediately getting back up, ONLY FOR MICHAEL TO GRAB HIM AND SPIKE HIM DOWN TO THE MAT WITH A DDT! In matches like these, you have to keep yourself on your feet and that’s exactly what both of these competitors are doing, and it’s doing them well as well I can’t really knock the hustle, I respect it more than anything else.
Deadprez: How long are they going to be able to keep this up though? That’s the question that’s on my mind and we’re certainly going to find out, but I don’t think this is going to be exempt from some outside interference as well…
(Antonne Prudence is on the edge about what he’s going to do with Abel down on the mat. He slowly climbs up onto the apron, realizing his client is in dire trouble and is seconds away from yelling toward Michael to get his attention.)
Eve: ABEL GRABS MICHAEL AND MANHANDLES HIM INTO THE CORNER! Michael is stunned, WHILE ABEL STEPS FORWARD AND CONNECTS WITH A CLOTHESLINE TO THE HEAD TO SEND HIM DOWN TO A SEATED POSITION!
(Abel immediately turns around and approaches Antonne, yelling at him aggressively and telling him to keep his distance, which is what he does with absolutely no issues in mind.)
Gavin Kirkland: Well it seems like Antonne was going to get his hands in the match, but Abel doesn’t want that. If he’s going to win, it’s going to be decisively, and we’re going to see whether or not that was a mistake or a good choice on his part. Abel turns around and eyes Michael who is still hurt in the corner, as he begins to make his way toward him. Before he can do anything though that distraction courtesy of Abel’s own manager was enough for Michael to get time to recover and send a stunning boot to the face from the ground! Michael grabs the top ropes and heaves himself back up to his feet, WHILE ABEL GOES FOR A LARIAT-
Deadprez: But Michael ducks under that, turning Abel around and pulling him in, hooking the arms… BEFORE CONNECTING WITH ‘TAPS’! WHAT A POWERFUL MOVE FROM MAJOR MICHAEL SCOTT CANNON AS HE MANAGES TO LEAP INTO THE AIR AND PLANT THE MUCH HEAVIER ABEL ATAMI WITH A DOUBLE UNDERHOOK DDT! AND NOW MICHAEL WASTES NO TIME ROLLING HIM ONTO HIS BACK SLOWLY AND HOOKING THE LEG! HE’S GOING FOR A PIN ATTEMPT RIGHT HERE!
OOONNNEEE!!!

Eve: BUT ABEL MANAGES TO KICK OUT! Major Michael Scott Cannon was a second away from being declared the victor right there, but evidently, it didn’t work out with Abel Atami continuing to persist through everything that’s been thrown at him in this match. Michael is getting back up to his feet, meanwhile, Antonne Prudence at ringside is trying to hype Abel up so he can get through this match with a burst of energy. He’s slowly doing so, beginning to crawl over toward the corner while still shooing Antonne away! Michael though has him by the hair and pulls him up so he’s propped against the corner, before lighting his chest up with an absolutely brutal chop! That woke him up!
Gavin Kirkland: I don’t think he’s done either as Michael keeps him up, before connecting with another chop to his chest! He now grabs Abel by the head before stepping forward, BARELY LIFTING HIM OFF THE GROUND BUT IT’S JUST ENOUGH TO DROP HIM WITH A BIEL THROW! What domination is being shown right now, if Michael is able to keep this up he might be able to walk away with a successful debut under his belt. Abel shoots up to a seated position while Michael approaches him, seizing his head and bringing him up to his feet, but before he can do anything it’s Abel that finally begins to show some signs of life beginning to send repeated elbows toward his abdomen! He’s hoping to loosen the grip on Michael while he has the chance, but that only allows him to break free and connect with a huge knee to Abel! Michael then turns around and runs toward the ropes… GOING FOR A SHOULDER TACKLE IN HOPES OF TAKING DOWN ABEL-
Deadprez: But Abel manages to side step and get out of the way of that! Michael falls flat onto his stomach but is beginning to get back up to his feet, ONLY FOR ABEL TO GRAB HIM AND DROP HIM WITH A QUICK NECKBREAKER! Abel now, with a shot of adrenaline through his veins and seemingly ready to go, he waits for Michael to get back up to his feet, falling backward into the corner and seeming to look for something huge on his end… AS HE RUNS FORWARD AND GOES FOR A HIDDEN BLADE TO THE BACK OF HIS HEAD-
Eve: BUT MICHAEL DUCKS UNDER THAT! Abel stumbles forward and dips down to a knee while Michael scrambles up, GRABBING HIM AROUND THE WAIST AND LIFTING HIM UP INTO A GERMAN SUPLEX! He drops Abel Atami down to the mat and now it’s Major Michael Scott Cannon’s turn to put an end to this match. Abel is slowly stumbling back up to his feet and Michael looks more than ready to hit something big right now… LOOKING TO LOCK IN THE DRAGON SLEEPER! ‘DD214’!
Gavin Kirkland: BUT IT ISN’T OVER TILL THE FAT ABEL SINGS! Abel manages to slip out just in time and shove Michael away, kicking him in the abdomen… FISHERMAN’S DRIVER! MICHAEL IS QUICKLY TAKEN DOWN TO THE CANVAS WHILE ABEL PINS HIS SHOULDERS DOWN TO THE CANVAS IN HOPES OF FINISHING THIS MATCH OFF FOR GOOD!
OOONNNEEE!!!
TTTTWWWWOOOO!!!!
TTTTTTHHHHHHRRRRRRRRREEE-
Deadprez: NO! MAJOR MICHAEL SCOTT CANNON GETS THE KICK OUT! ABEL IS ABSOLUTELY IRATE AS HE SITS UP AND YELLS AT THE REFEREE! BUT DEEP INSIDE HE KNOWS HE CAN’T CONTEST THIS! THIS MATCH PUSHES ON!
Eve: Abel is slowly getting up, if there’s one thing he didn’t expect out of this match it was Michael showing this type of resiliency. Michael, despite everything as well, is beginning to show some signs of life as he grabs onto the bottom rope and pulls himself toward it in hopes of getting back up to his feet. But Abel is already mad as it is and is beginning to make his way over, grabbing Michael by the head and bringing him back up to his feet, before sending a stiff punch toward his head! Michael is rocked momentarily, but he quickly sends one back to Abel as a statement! And now the two of them are coming to blows! Back and forth with one another! Abel! Michael! Abel! Michael! Abel! Michael! Abel! Michael! Abel!
Gavin Kirkland: But the Major begins to get the better of Abel by sending a couple of huge punches toward his head! This begins to overwhelm him and send him backward, with Michael looking to take advantage of this by sending him toward the ropes with an Irish whip… LEAPING INTO THE AIR AND GOING FOR A DROPKICK- But Abel manages to grab onto the ropes just in time to send Michael down to the canvas with nobody home to connect with! Michael slowly begins to get back up to his feet, BUT ABEL LEAPS INTO THE AIR AND DROPS HIM DOWN WITH A SLING BLADE! He connects with that beautiful move before then turning around and running toward the ropes… LEAPING INTO THE AIR AND GOING FOR A SPLASH TO CRUSH MICHAEL BENEATH HIM!
Deadprez: BUT MICHAEL MANAGES TO ROLL OUT OF THE WAY AND AVOID SUDDEN DANGER! Abel has a hard landing on the ground but begins to get back up to his feet, WHILE MICHAEL LEAPS INTO THE AIR AND CONNECTS WITH A KNEE TO HIS BACK! That sends Abel backward and into the ropes, WHILE MICHAEL CONNECTS WITH ONE MORE! Abel is sent over the ropes, but just in time lands on the apron and quickly uses the ropes to get back up to his feet. But before he can do anything it’s Michael that manages to connect with a punch to the face! The two of them are now trading blows on the apron! MICHAEL THOUGH MANAGES TO PUSH THROUGH THE MIDDLE ROPE AND CONNECT WITH A SHOULDER THRUST TO ABEL!
Eve: This doesn’t look very good, as Michael looks to be leaving the ring and joining Abel on the apron. He grabs him around his waist, BEFORE RUNNING ABEL STRAIGHT INTO THE RINGPOST SPINE FIRST! Abel gives a cry of pain but clutches a hold of the ropes just in time to keep his balance. Michael then pulls him away and grabs a hold of him, HE’S GOING FOR A SUPLEX ONTO THE APRON!
Gavin Kirkland: BUT ABEL DROPS HIS WEIGHT AND SAVES HIMSELF BEFORE SHOVING HIMSELF AWAY FROM MICHAEL’S GRASP! Michael immediately swings a punch- But Abel manages to block it before kicking him in the abdomen! Abel now sets him up… NO! NO!
Deadprez: FISHERMAN’S DRIVER ONTO THE APRON! MICHAEL IS DOWN! ABEL IS DOWN! OH MY GOD!
(The crowd is on their feet right now while Michael is completely out cold, meanwhile Antonne Prudence has quickly ran over to check on Abel, who is beginning to show signs of life. Abel clutches onto the apron and looks down at Michael, immediately grabbing a hold of him and rolling him into the ring.)
Eve: Abel is setting him up, grabbing him by his head and bringing him up to his feet. I think after what he just connected with, I have a clue what he might have up his sleeve…
Gavin Kirkland: THE FAT ABEL HAS SUNG! IT’S OVER! ‘PROJECT ATAMI’ CONNECTS! SUPLEX LIFT PILEDRIVER FOR GOOD MEASURE WHILE ABEL ROLLS MICHAEL ONTO HIS BACK AND GOES FOR THE PIN ATTEMPT!
OOONNNEEE!!!

(‘Bad Man’ plays up once more while Antonne Prudence slides into the ring and immediately begins to hype up Abel Atami. Abel slowly pushes himself off of Major Michael Scott Cannon before bringing himself up to a seated position, a serious expression on his face while he begins to get back up to his feet. Antonne raises his hand high into the air signaling victory, while Abel starts his victory lap inside of the ring.)
Gina Romano: Here is your winner… ABEL ATAMI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Deadprez: Well, if you want a dark horse for match of the night, this might just be the one for you. What a match that we’ve just got the opportunity to witness with the No Regards Gauntlet match on the horizon. Through thick and thin, Abel Atami is the one that walks out with his hand raised in victory, persevering through all the pain and the agony to officially walk away as the victor of this one.
Eve: But Major Michael Scott Cannon proved that Hurricane Hawk made the right choice including him amongst the rest of those hungry Showdown Elitists last week. He really showed out and proved that he belonged in a match of that caliber, and I wouldn’t be surprised if maybe a victory was on the horizon for him. But for right now, Abel has made a good claim for victory, and has possibly given a preview of what’s to come. Congratulations to Abel on the victory!
(Abel rolls out of the ring alongside Antonne before making their way out the ramp and to the backstage area, as it’s the last shot seen before Saturday Night Showdown from there begins to fade to elsewhere.)
(We cut away to another part of the building where Ryan Wilson is pacing from one side of the corridor to the next, Demi Knor looking on and looking concerned. Ryan is obviously angry, and in his mind rightfully so considering what has been happening of late.)
Demi Knor: You need to calm down, you’re going to get a hernia or something.
(Ryan stops pacing, his eyes like daggers as if he cannot believe what Demi just said.)
Ryan Wilson: Are you kidding me right now? Do you think that’s what I need to hear from you? You’re supposed to be supportive of me, you’re supposed to say the right things. Anything but… CALM DOWN!!!
Demi Knor: I know you’re hurting Ryan but…
(Ryan holds up his hand, Demi stopping her statement in its tracks.)
Ryan Wilson: No buts. I’m sick to the back teeth with ‘buts’. I’m better than ‘buts’.
(Demi bites her bottom lip, not wanting to push Ryan’s anger any further. It was obvious to her that right now there was very little talking to him, and it might be better for her to just let him vent.)
Demi Knor: Ok, I’m sorry… I get that you are frustrated.
Ryan Wilson: I am one of the top stars in this business. Showdown is lucky to have me here… Heidi Huxley even said so herself and she knows talent when she sees it. Last week, I should have beaten Kassidy Heart, and it upsets me that I didn’t. I’m sick and tired of losing Demi, I shouldn’t BE losing. I want to win… don’t forget that I NEED to win. I feel like people are laughing at me, and NO ONE laughs at Ryan Wilson. Not without a receipt. I’m sick of being ridiculed, and although I might have one of the thickest skins in this industry, I’ll admit, it’s starting to get to me. The way I’m feeling right now, it has to stop.
Demi Knor: Things will change, you’ll see.
Ryan Wilson: They will… because I’m going to make them change. At No Regards I am facing a man who believes himself to be the best in the world. I’m going to show him that he’s wrong. I’m going to prove a point… to him, to the rest of Showdown and anyone else who dared suggest that Ryan Wilson is finished. ALL OF THEM!!!
(Ryan slams his fist into the wall, his emotions getting the better of him and puts a dent in the false wall. Demi puts her hands on his shoulder, trying to calm him down.)
Demi Knor: No one is suggesting that, Ryan. They wouldn’t dare.
????: Oh, but they are… in fact most people are.
(Demi’s eyes widen, and Ryan turns around recognizing the voice. As he does turn, Xander Payne is standing there, right in Ryan’s face which doesn’t improve his mood any. Ryan immediately adopts a fighting stance, but Xander holds up his hand, his bottom lip sticking out.)
Xander Payne: Cool your jets Ryan, I’m not here to cause any trouble. Not this time at least.
(Ryan relaxes, but only a little.)
Ryan Wilson: Say what you’ve got to and move on. I’m not in the mood for you today.
Xander Payne: Tell you what Ryan, I’ll do you a favor and I’ll ignore the hostility in your voice. You should be careful, the stress, it’s not good for your heart.
(Ryan shakes his head dismissively, he really didn’t want to talk to Xander but knew how persistent he could be.)
Xander Payne: You’ve no reason to be downhearted anyway… no one expected you to beat Kassidy Heart. No one in their right mind would have expected that.
Ryan Wilson: If this is just another opportunity for you to slander me Xander…
Xander Payne: Let me finish… no one expected you to win, but no one expected the performance you put forth either. You fought with a LOT of heart, I’ll give you that, and you proved exactly how tough you can be when you out your mind to it. You’re good, there is no questioning that, but even now you are still missing that element that makes the good, great. It’s not your fault though, because you have never been shown the way.
Ryan Wilson: Get to the point Xander.
(Demi looks on, worried that this could all escalate in an instant if Ryan lost his cool, Xander almost seeming to be sneering at him with his comments.)
Xander Payne: I’m here to tell you Ryan, that I can see your silver lining, the break in the clouds that you need. And no, it’s not by claiming an unexpected victory against the best in the world. That’s me in case you were wondering. No, what I’m going to do Ryan, is the biggest favor you could possibly imagine. I’m going to teach you to be the very best that you can be…
(Ryan’s demeanor changes, the anger in him once again starting to bubble.)
Xander Payne: By beating you at No Regards, with ease might I add, I’m going to let you witness firsthand everything that you will ever need to be at my level. And once I’ve pinned you for the three count, you know what you’re going to do? You’re going to shake my hand and thank me for the experience and more importantly for the lesson. I’m a giver Ryan, that’s why I am and will always be, best in the world.
(Ryan steps forward so they are almost nose to nose.)
Ryan Wilson: You arrogant piece of…
(Xander wags his finger.)
Xander Payne: Now, Now Ryan… don’t forget we’re all Disney here.
Ryan Wilson: I shouldn’t wait for No Regards; I should kick your ass right now.
Xander Payne: Course you should Ryan…
Xander turns to walk away, but Ryan grabs his shoulder and spins him around.
Ryan Wilson: Don’t you dare walk away from me.
(Xander just looks at his shoulder and the hand on it, and with the biggest smirk on his face he shakes his head, before then walking away laughing. The camera then focuses on Ryan’s face, which gets redder and redder until it seems like he may burst. The scene then thankfully shifted.)
Gina Romano: The following contest has a twenty-minute time limit and it is scheduled FOR!
Crowd: ONE FALL!!
Gina Romano: Introducing first… he is ‘THE FACE OF SHOWDOWN’ JAKE SMITH!!!!!
(‘WAR’ by grandson hits as the crowd gives a loud and positive reception for Jake Smith as he makes his way out onto the stage. Jake with a smug smile would continue his way down the rampway and into the ring. Not wasting a lot of time as he’s ready to start this match. Smith looks over to Adam Lucas who’s already in the ring waiting to officiate this match-up.)
(‘Black Ball ‘ by NBA Youngboy plays throughout the speakers as Jon Kelton struts down to the stage. Kelton with a grin makes his way down the rampway— Kelton walks up the steps not looking at Jake Smith but looking at Adam Lucas with a dirty look. Jon Kelton enters the ring through the middle rope, and doesn’t keep his eyes off Lucas.)
Eve: Kelton doesn’t seem to want to take his eyes off Lucas.
Deadprez: He should be looking at Smith who’s his opponent…
(DING! DING! DING!)
Eve: The bell rings as both Jake Smith and Jon Kelton meet in the ring for a collar and elbow tie-up. Smith gets the advantage as he gets Kelton in a headlock position… Smith now takes a knee trying to wrench Kelton down. Kelton having none of it however as he sends a strike, and another one to the gut of Jake Smith!!! Jake lets go of the hold and that let’s Kelton seize the opportunity and get his arms around the waist of Smith!!!!
Gavin Kirkland: MAMA MIA! BELLY-TO-BELLY SUPLEX EVE! Smith is planted into the mat hard! As Kelton is up to his feet now raising his arms out taunting Jake Smith and giving a dirty look to Adam Lucas! Jake Smith however is back up to his feet and Jon Kelton may regret turning his back as Smith FROM BEHIND WITH A SUPERKICK TO THE BACK OF THE HEAD! Jon Kelton doesn’t hit the mat rather stumbles forward and leans against the ropes!!
Deadprez: Jake Smith looking to Clothesline Jon Kelton out of the ring!!!—- NO! Kelton narrowly avoids and Jake Smith hits the ropes! That has Smith dazed it seems and Jon Kelton takes advantage as he gets behind Smith— GERMAN SUPLEX! Jake has just landed off the back of his head!!!— Kelton makes his way over to Smith and tries to lift him up for a second German—- BUT SMITH ELBOWS KELTON IN THE FACE!!!
Eve: This is getting intense as Jake Smith LOOKS FOR A ROLLING ELBOW FROM NOWHERE AND IT HITS!!! Jon Kelton falls down and rolls out of the ring holding his face!!! WOW! That’s what you have to watch out for when in the ring with a guy like Jake Smith….
Gavin Kirkland: A GUY LIKE JAKE SMITH ALSO NEVER LETS UP— SMITH GOES OFF TO ONE SET OF THE ROPES AND WITH THE MOMENTUM RUNS UP AND THROUGH THE MIDDLE ROPE NAILING JON KELTON AND PUSHING HIM BACK HARD INTO THE BARRICADE! Wowza! Kelton sent hard into the barricade— As Jake Smith starts smacking the barricade hyping himself up!!!
Deadprez: Smith grabs a handful of hair with one arm and the other grabbing the tights as he sends Kelton back into the ring… Kelton dazed as he rolls into the ring but is also surprisingly slowly getting up to his feet!!! Jake Smith follows and as Smith is up to his feet— JON KELTON SPRINGS UP AND CONNECTS WITH A BEAUTIFUL AND UNEXPECTED SLINGBLADE!!!
Eve: ‘The Chosen One’ is back up to his feet still a little dazed clearly as he turns around he meets an also dazed Jake Smith who’s made it back up to his feet as well! Smith with a lot of force— SMACKS THE DISNEY from the mouth of Jon Kelton!!! Kelton returns with not a slap but an elbow to the jaw of Jake Smith! Smith NOW WITH HIS OWN ELBOW— BUT JON KELTON ISN’T PLAYING FAIR AS HE SENDS HIS KNEE UP INTO THE ABDOMEN OF JAKE!!!
Gavin Kirkland: What do you mean not fair? That’s perfectly fair and legal! Kelton though not stopping there as that knee to the gut is soon followed up with a— SUPLEX!!! Jake Smith is taken down as his back collides with the mat, Kelton decides to hook the leg and attempt for a cover!!!

Jon Kelton (Off-Mic): YOU BETTER NOT BE SCREWING WITH ME!
Deadprez: Kelton seems to be having a moment as he yells at Adam Lucas who’s done nothing but what he’s been assigned to. Kelton with his pointer finger in the face of Adam Lucas who doesn’t seem to care all that much— WOAH LOOK HERE! Jake Smith taking advantage of going got a schoolboy pinfall!!!!

Eve: KICKOUT! Barely however, Kelton needs to stay focused! Both men got to their feet but Jake Smith capitalized first!!!— AS HE’S BEHIND KELTON HE DRIVES HIS KNEES INTO THE BACK OF ‘THE CHOSEN ONE’ WITH A BACKSTABBER! Jake Smith pushes himself back up to his feet as he grabs ahold of Jon Kelton lifting him up and in position for a Suplex!— No! Kelton pushes Jake Smith back and NAILS A DROPKICK!
Gavin Kirkland: Kelton and Smith both elitists want this win and they’re both going to do what they can! Kelton shows that as he’s holding his back, he slowly lifts up Jake Smith to his feet before HITTING ‘OBLIVION’ THE SPINNING HEEL KICK KELTON USES SO WELL! Jake Smith is turned inside out and falls down like a slinky thrown down the stairs!!! Jon Kelton drops down and is going to try the cover!!!

Deadprez: Yeah baby! Jake Smith is still in this thing and this clearly has ticked off Jon Kelton! Kelton grabs Jake Smith by his hair and lifts him up with him as they both make their feet— Kelton is making direct eye contact with Adam Lucas, clearly ‘The Chosen One’ isn’t happy with him. I think Jon may have wasted too much time though as Jake Smith kicks Kelton in the gut!!!!—- Smith now with a Step-Up Enziguri that doesn’t take Jon down but has him on wobbly legs!!!
Eve: Look!!! Jake Smith grabs ahold of Jon Kelton and lifts him up onto his shoulders, Smith tosses Kelton over his shoulder AND KELTON’S SKULL MAKES CONTACT WITH SMITHS KNEE— THAT MOVE KNOWN AS THE USHIGOROSHI!!! Jon Kelton holds his head and he looks to be in severe pain!!! Ya can’t blame him either!!— Smith now backing his way into a corner… What is he planning here??
Gavin Kirkland: I’ll answer your question Eve, Jake Smith is planning to kick the lights out of Kelton here… As Kelton on his stomach begins picking himself up—- Smith begins the run AND LIFTS HIS LEG TO KICK— NO!!! KELTON NARROWLY AVOIDS THE PUNT KICK!
Deadprez: That could’ve been bad for Jon Kelton! As Kelton takes the time Smith takes to regain himself to get behind Jake Smith— GERMAN RELEASE SUPLEX FROM JON KELTON! Smith lands flat on his stomach and his face!!! Kelton now pounding his chest violently, he’s trying to get himself hyped up! Kelton has a look in his eye… Jon looks up to the top rope as he begins scaling the turnbuckles… Kelton….
Gavin Kirkland: Kelton is on the top rope and he stands up— Balancing himself on that top rope, KELTON JUMPS OFF AND WITH BOTH LEGS CONNECTS WITH A DIVING FOOT STOMP TO THE BACK OF JAKE SMITH!!! That’s gonna hurt!! That’s gonna leave Jake Smith with back problems for weeks!!!! Jon Kelton is going for the cover now!!! This is it!

Kelton walks over to Jake Smith who’s got one hand on the middle rope trying to lift himself up.. Kelton slaps Smith in the back of the head.
Jon Kelton (Off-Mic): I AM THAT GUY JAKE.
Deadprez: Referring to yourself as that guy in the midst of a match, that’s gotta be a first. Kelton grabs Jake’s arm after the disrespectful slap… and— AND nothing! As Jake Smith with his free arm ELBOWS Jon Kelton in the face! Kelton lets go of Jake’s arm and Kelton turns away holding his face— And as Kelton turns back to retaliate he gets met with a SUPERKICK TO THE SKULL!!! Jon Kelton is about to fall— But Smith catches him and keeps him standing!!!
Gavin Kirkland: It’s becoming clear Jake Smith has a lot of fight in him tonight. As Smith turns Kelton around and puts his arm over his head—- JAKE SMITH GOES FOR THE ROLLING CUTTER HE CALLS ‘PROPHETIC’ AND IT CONNECTS!!! KELTON’S HEAD IS MET WITH THE CANVAS!!! Jon Kelton looks out of it as Jake Smith rolls Kelton over and hooks the leg!!!

Smith has lifted Kelton up just enough to where his upper back isn’t touching the mat and— SMITH WITH STOMP AFTER STOMP ONTO THE CHEST OF KELTON!!!
Gavin Kirkland: Look at this Eve! Jake Smith is doing what it takes tonight and Jon Kelton hasn’t had an answer to get a long string of momentum going for himself! As Smith is now done with the stomps to Jon Kelton, he lifts him up slowly— ‘STARMAKER’ JUMPING CUTTER JAKE SMITH IS TRYING TO HIT IT—- NOO! Kelton pushes him away and Smith turns right around into a HUGE LARIAT THAT TAKES HIM OUT!
Deadprez: Say what you want about Kelton but he’s got some crazy ring awareness— Smith is already stirring back up to his feet as Kelton is taking a second to breath here. ‘The Face Of Showdown’ up to his feet clearly still feeling the effects of that lariat from Jon, is only to be met with a SPINEBUSTER FROM KELTON!!!! JAKE’S BACK SLAMMED DOWN HARD!
Eve: Hey— Hey!!! Look at this Kelton pushes Smith onto his stomach before entrapping his arm between his legs— Kelton is trying to lock in ‘ETHER’ THE ARM-TRAPPED CROSSFACE THAT HE’S KNOWN FOR USING!!! Jon Kelton is still trying to get the hold locked in fully as Jake Smith is moving around frantically trying to not let Kelton get his arms around his face!!!—-
Gavin Kirkland: It may be very well too late for Jake—- WAIT!!! Jake is using his hand to pry away Kelton’s right hand!!—- AND IT WORKS!! Smith rolls away quickly as Kelton is in a huff!!! Kelton gets up to his feet as Jake Smith begins using the ropes to his two feet!— Jake Smith though as soon as Kelton gets close enough delivers a NASTY CHOP!! BUT KELTON RETURNS ONE OF HIS OWN THATS HEARD FROM ACROSS THE AREA!!!
Deadprez: Smith instead of continuing the chop frenzy SENDS A SUPERKICK TO THE GUT OF KELTON— Which has Jon fall to both of his knees and Smith follows up with another Superkick to Kelton’s skull!!! Jon falls backwards and Jake Smith goes for the pinfall attempt!!!

Deadprez: Kelton once again getting his shoulder up in the nick of time! Jake moves position slightly to try and get a hold locked in— JAKE SMITH TRYING TO LOCK IN ‘505’ AND IT LOOKS LIKE HE GETS IT LOCKED IN AS HE STARTS WRENCHING THE HOLD TIGHTER!!! Kelton seems to be struggling and trying to fight off the hold but to no avail!!! Adam Lucas is trying to see if Kelton’s going to tap out but Jon is still hanging on second after second the question grows through, will he tap!!!
Eve: Kelton is lifting his left leg the closest leg to the head of Smith, AND BRINGS IT BACK MAYBE BENDING IT A LITTLE TO KNEE THE BACK OF JAKE SMITH’S HEAD BUT HE STILL HAS THE HOLD LOCKED IN!!!!!—- ‘THE CHOSEN ONE’ DOES IT AGAIN AND SMITH LETS GO TO HOLD THE BACK OF HIS HEAD THAT KNEE LOOKING STIFF!
Gavin Kirkland: Man! Kelton found every way imaginable to survive in this match against Jake! Kelton has made his way up to his feet using every bit of strength he has to push himself up and off the mat! Jake Smith getting up almost at the same exact time!!! Smith runs at Kelton trying to look for a Lariat of his own! Kelton ducks— Kelton GOES FOR HIS SPINNING HEEL KICK ‘OBLIVION’ and Jake Smith moves out of the way!!!!
Deadprez: Both of these men are trying their best to not get hit by the other now! As Smith goes for a HUGE FOREARM— AND KELTON CATCHES IT! Kelton with a kick to the gut!!!—- Jon Kelton hooks both of Jake’s arms!!!—- ‘Anti-Life Equation’ DDT! Smith’s skull meets the mat and Kelton rolls Jake over THIS COULD BE IT!!!

Eve: JAKE SMITH LAST MILLISECOND GETS HIS SHOULDER UP!!! Jake Smith is a different breed! Jon Kelton is growing more and more angry every second this match goes on. Every kick out he seems to give Adam Lucas a devilish look for some reason as if Adam has done anything at all! Kelton gets to his feet and he lifts Smith up as well!— Jake isn’t going to be able to fight back easily at the moment!
Gavin Kirkland: Not at all! He was just hit with a nasty move that’s put away many others! Not Jake Smith… yet! Jon Kelton begins to lift up Jake Smith for a Suplex, but SMITH PLANTS HIS FEET! Jake is a fighting spirit for sure— Jon Kelton though, with an Irish whip into the ropes!!! But Kelton runs up with Jake with a KITCHEN SINK that sends Smith down into the mat!!!
Deadprez: Jake gets up rather quickly though and Kelton tries to hit Jake with a LARIAT— AND HE DOES!!! Jake Smith drops down hard as Jon Kelton backs up to one the opposite corner of the ring from Jake— Jake slowly getting back up, JON KELTON WITH— ‘Final Atonement’ BUT NO! Jake Smith moved out of the way and Kelton sent himself shoulder first into the turnbuckle!!! Jake Smith runs over quickly and send his BOOT INTO KELTON’S SHOULDER!!!— ADDING INSULT TO INJURY! Jon Kelton is going to feel that tomorrow as Jake Smith falls backwards into the ropes with a grin on his face— Jake Smith is still going surprisingly!
Eve: Kelton grabs at his shoulder in pain as Jake Smith holds himself up using the ropes taking deep breaths!— Smith taking advantage of Kelton hurting himself now making his way over to Kelton and grabbing him and trying to get him in position for ‘Prophetic’ BUT NO!!! Kelton pushes Jake away and Kelton backs up and bumps into Adam Lucas!!!
Deadprez: This is foolish, Kelton is in the face of Adam Lucas right now over bumping into him— Kelton was the one who bumped into Jake Smith in the first place man!
Eve: Jon Kelton spits on the mat next to Lucas and he looks like he wants to hit him but that wouldn’t be a very smart idea!
Gavin Kirkland: What! Kelton has taken his eyes off of Jake Smith to argue with Lucas over bumping into him?! This is clearly not a good idea! Thankfully Kelton just keeps it as that as he turns around, JAKE SMITH HITS ‘STARMAKER’ JUMPING CUTTER!!— It connects! Jon Kelton is out of it— And Jake Smith rolls Kelton over slowly and he’s going for the cover, hooking the leg!!! Is it going to be all she wrote?

(‘WAR’ by grandson hits as Jake Smith sits up and raises his arm up in victory! Smith rolls out of the ring and begins heading up the rampway after a long and hard match, Jake Smith the whole way up the rampway raises his arm holding his stomach with his other arm.)
Eve: What a win! Wow! Jake Smith going to war and coming out of it looking like he could go some more!
Gavin Kirkland: It was an ok win.
Deadprez: The question has to be posed, if Jon Kelton wasn’t so in his head over Adam Lucas could he have got the job done!
(The camera fades out elsewhere… leaving the scene of Kelton in the ring hurt, and Jake Smith at the top of the stage with his arm raised high!)
(We cut away and find ourselves in the corridors, the National Elite Champion Donovan Duke already stood next to Kyra Phillips. Taking her cue, Kyra turns to Donovan and starts to speak.)
Kyra Phillips: Thank you for joining me, Donovan, it’s been quite a few months for you, hasn’t it?
(Donovan grins, whilst nodding his head in agreement.)
Donovan Duke: That’s quite the understatement. I always said, even during those dark days in Insurgency, that one day I would be at the top of this game as a champion. And I never once stopped working towards those goals. No matter what anyone told me, I always believed in myself, and I still do to this day. I have now held this championship belt since King of Elite, and I believe I have defended it with honor and integrity, and not a single person can say otherwise. I’ve respected this belt in the way it is deserved, and if one day someone beats me and takes it away, no one can ever take away my title reign.
Kyra Phillips: You have certainly come a long way in a short space of time.
Donovan Duke: It’s a steep learning curve in this company, and you can either exist, or you can thrive, there is no in between. It’s pointless treading water, because if you do there is always someone waiting to overtake you. I’ll never stop working, I can promise everyone that, because all of this, it’s way too important to me. I’ll never stop working, and I’ll never stop learning. Just like I learned a lot about myself last week when I faced Hikari Kanno on Voltage.
Kyra Phillips: That defeat must have been disappointing?
Donovan Duke: It was. I had an opportunity to prove a point, that Showdown is the superior brand. Hikari was tough, I’ll give her that. But it’s like I said just moments ago, it’s about constantly learning. Hikari Kanno is a potential World Champion, and I’m convinced that if we faced off again, the result would be far, far different. Donovan Duke: I try not to think about it too much because after all it could literally be one of the premier Elitists in this company. I am honored to share a ring every single week with the likes of Xander Payne, Jon Kelton, Jake Smith, Adam Lucas, Kassidy Heart, and the Answers World Champion Impact to name just a few. Even those I haven’t mentioned I mean no disrespect as they are ALL top, top Elitists in their own right. So more than anything Kyra, I am eager to find out not only if I will be defending this belt at No Regards, but also who that challenger will be. All I want to do is be given the opportunity to prove myself, no matter who the opponent.
(Kyra is about to say something, but before she can, Harley Lewis steps into shot, almost pushing past Kyra who looks annoyed. Donovan looks Harley up and down, obviously surprised by the interruption.)
Donovan Duke: Err, I was in the middle of an interview here.
Harley Lewis: No, you weren’t, the interview had ended, and I ended it.
(Kyra walks away shaking her head, Donovan watching her go before finally turning to Harley, now unquestionably annoyed.)
Donovan Duke: Someone should give you a lesson in manners.
Harley Lewis: And that person should be you huh?
Donovan Duke: Perhaps
Harley Lewis: Well, unlike you, everything I do has a point… thus the interruption.
Donovan Duke: I cannot wait to hear what you have to say.
(The sarcasm in his voice cannot possibly be missed, but Harley continues regardless.)
Harley Lewis: I don’t know if you noticed while you were off fighting on the other brand…
Donovan Duke: Off representing Showdown you mean.
Harley Lewis: If that’s the way you’re excusing it, sure. But last week, whilst you were losing, embarrassingly to Hikari Kanno, a midcard Voltage talent, I was out wrestling one of those ‘top’ talents you mentioned earlier… Adam Lucas.
Donovan Duke: Outwrestling? That’s not what I saw.
Harley Lewis: Whatever you say Champ… anyway, much as I’d love and talk to you about the whys and wherefores, allow me to make it clear why I intervened. Without doubt, I CAN wrestle that championship away from you. You mentioned all those Elitists, but you missed one. That being me. It’s about time I put a championship to my name, and do you know what I’ve decided. I’ve decided that I want THAT one, so what do you say Donovan? Do you have what it takes to accept a challenge from a true ‘Don’?
Donovan Duke: I don’t back away from any challenge Harley, so if the EAW books it, I’ll be there. To put you in your place just like Adam…
(From behind, Donovan is attacked by Ogawa and Lucas Johnson, the latter grabbing Donovan by the back of the neck and planting him forehead first into an open door. As Lucas and Komatsu lay into Donovan with kicks to the chest and ribs, Harley walks behind them and picks up the fallen National Elite Championship, admiring it. He then nods for Lucas and Komatsu to stop, and he bends down so that he is close to a groaning Donovan Duke.)
Harley Lewis: Enjoy this belt Donovan because your reign ends at No Regards.
(Harley holds the belt above his head, before dropping it on Donovan. A grin forming on his face as the Triangle of Terror walks away laughing. The camera then pans back to Donovan who is holding his ribcage, as the scene fades.)

Gavin Kirkland: Xander won last week via disqualification as a result of an assault by the pairing of Kassidy Heart and Impact.
Eve: He will be looking to obtain a clean win tonight I expect, to show the world that his claim is not false and to prepare for No Regards as well.
( ‘Invincible by Pop Smoke plays over the sound system of the arena and the cheers from the crowd erupt as Xander’s opponent appears through the curtain and makes his way to the ring. )
Gina Romano: AAAAAAND HIS OPPONENT! From Brooklyn, New York! Weighing in at 210 pounds: He Is Gawd’s Given Greatness: CHRRRRRRRRIS EEEEEEEELITE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Deadprez: Things aren’t looking too good for Chris these days, a series of unsuccess made him rather disgruntled and even tensions are rather palpable within the Haircare Kings ahead of the match against Soul Food Sunday.
Gavin Kirkland: Chris needs a victory to prove himself that he still has it, winning against the so-called Best Wrestler in the World could be the pick-me-up Elite needs to get back to his winning ways.
Eve: Won’t be easy against Xander Payne though, but it will be a good match-up!
( Ding! Ding! Ding! )
Deadprez: AND HERE WE GO! This match is officially underway! Both men are circling each other in the center of the ring heading for a clinch and both men are now struggling to take over the other! Payne quickly goes for a wristlock THEN THROWS A SERIES OF SLAPS TO THE BACK OF CHRIS ELITE’S HEAD!! He finishes it with two kicks to the back and Chris hops to his feet looking angry at the provocation!
Gavin Kirkland: Xander is smirking, in a fight position while Chris shakes his head and both men go to walk around each other again under referee supervision. Both agree to a clinch ag-PAYNE WITH A QUICK PUNCH TO THE JAW OF CHRIS! He smirks again BUT ELITE THROWS A RESOUNDING KNIFE-EDGED CHOP IN RETALIATION!
Crowd: WOOOOOOOOOOOO!!
Eve: Xander’s smirk got wiped off his face as he dashes forward trying to clothesline Chris who ducks low and throws a stiff hook at his opponent! He follows it with a forearm then an elbow! Xander tries to block and Chris quickly goes to the ropes for momentum. Payne attempts a strike but Elite with agility hops over the big man! Xander turns trying to get to Chris who runs by him, again into the ropes, AND TAKES DOWN XANDER WITH A HURRICANRANA!!
Deadprez: Xander manages to get back to a vertical base quickly BUT GETS CLIPPED BY CHRIS’ BOOTS WITH A DROPKICK! DOWN GOES PAYNE AGAIN! Xander rolls outside of the ring, good strategy usually but Chris is the high flyer type he takes to the ropes going for a baseball slide because Xander moved out of the way!
Gavin Kirkland: Xander tries for a palm strike but Chris is a bit faster and strikes him in the face! And another punch! And a third! The official is about to start counting them from inside the ring AND XANDER SUDDENLY AND QUICKLY DRIVES CHRIS AGAINST THE APRON!!!
Eve: Spine first that moves and then Xander moves Chris back inside the ring, Elite moving to a corner while Xander is charging his way BUT ELITE MOVED OUT OF THE WAY WITH A PARKOUR LIKE MANOEUVER AND QUICKLY RUNS BACK AT XANDER WHO CAUGHT HIM INTO A URANAGE!! WAIT NO! CHRIS MANAGED TO TAKE DOWN XANDER USING HIS OWN POWER!!
Deadprez: Smart play by Chris Elite who was a swing of the arm away from suffering more pain to his back! Quick thinking by the Hall of Famer as he kicks at Xander throwing some chops to the chest of Payne before going to the ropes for his next move BUT HE GETS SHOULDER TACKLED HARD TO THE FLOOR!!
Gavin Kirkland: He picks up Chris, sending him head first into the nearest top turnbuckle before throwing in a stiff-sounding chop to the chest of his opponent!!
Crowd: WOOOOOOOOO!!!!!
Eve: If felt as if it could take the wind breath out of Elite’s lungs!
Deadprez: Here comes Xander with a reverse Judo takedown bringing Chris on the mat FOLLOWED WITH A ROUNDHOUSE KICK!! He quickly picks up Elite, propping him up with an Inverted atomic drop! That move always looks painful and Payne follows with a northern light suplex AND THEN ROLLS INTO A SNAP VERTICAL SUPLEX! A quick string of offence from the native of Toronto tonight!
Gavin Kirkland: Xander looks to go on a mean streak as he slaps the back of Elite’s head and throws an ELBOW! He grabs hold of Elite AND THROWS HIM OVER HIS HEAD WITH A RELEASE GERMAN SUPLEX! Chris lands in the middle of the ring almost on his neck as Xander quickly gets to his feet with a look telling us he’s far from being done. He goes to a knee, grabs Chris’ lead hand, and begins to bend his fingers!
Eve: That looks like it hurts I’d shriek if that happened to me. The official orders Xander to stop which he does but waits until the referee starts counting before doing so. Xander keeps Elite in a wristlock before moving to Irish Whip his opponent into a corner but Chris reverses! He goes for a splash but Xander throws a boot to the gut! Payne quickly hops on the second rope AND GOES FOR A MODIFIED SUNSET FLIP! THE MOVE LANDS!
Deadprez: Xander maintains the offensive as he throws a back elbow to Chris before dashing into the ropes and jumping for a Senton that lands atop of Elite! Chris is on his back before being picked up by Payne WHO LIFTS ELITE INTO A SIDE SLAM! SQUARE ON CHRIS’ BACK! He then follows it with a dragon screw leg whip, displaying his agility despite his size!
Gavin Kirkland: Are you calling Xander Payne fat, bud?
Deadprez: No, I’m complimenting him on his agility despite his size.
Gavin Kirkland: So… Calling him fat.
Deadprez: You are insufferable at times.
Gavin Kirkland: Just doing my job Prez.
Eve: Meanwhile, inside the ring, Xander is throwing punches at Elite before moving him against the ropes and whipping him into the opposite ones. Chris arrives quickly and hops over a clothesline rolling before bouncing against the ropes and getting a boot to the midsection AND GETS HIM THROUGH A SIT-OUT MICHINOKU DRIVER!!!! PAYNE PIN THE SHOULDERS!!

Eve: Elite lifts the shoulder up! Xander shrugs, looking at the official who confirms the two counts! Xander rolls his eyes and moves up to his feet with Elite in tow. Irish whip hard into a corner, Elite smacks against the corner and lands flat on his face. Xander on the other hand moves to the center of the ring and charges at Elite WITH A SHOTGUN DROPKICK!!
Deadprez: Chris is on his back now and Xander quickly moves to the top turnbuckle AND LANDS THE SENTON BOMB!!! Chris rolls on the apron, Xander follows suit grabs Chris and sets him up for Blockbuster! HE PERFORMS IS ON THE APRON!! THE HARDEST PART OF THE RING!!
Gavin Kirkland: Xander rolls Elite inside the ring before pushing him into the ropes. Punches and elbows to the face and chest before pushing him into the ropes FOLLOWING THIS WITH A KNEELING BUTTERFLY POWERBOMB!! BLAM!! Elite is in a world of hurt and rolls outside of the ring with Xander quickly down and out chasing him.
Eve: Elbow to the spine of Elite before grabbing Chris setting him up for an X-Plex THAT LANDS ON THE OUTSIDE MAT SURROUNDING THE RING!!!! The official is starting to count them both!

Eve: Xander is in a half-mounted position atop of Chris dropping down lunchbox punches on top of Elite’s head.
THREE!!! FOUR!!!!
Deadprez: Payne off from Chris as he grabs him and goes for a snap suplex that is perfectly applied!

Gavin Kirkland: Xander moves to whip Elite against the apron followed by a few forearm smashes!!
SEVEN!!!!!!! EIGHT!!!!!!!!
Eve: Xander shoves Chris inside the ring before the referee can count to nine, stopping the process as the action returned back inside the squared circle. A headbutt by Payne on Chris who’s now on his knees before getting Elite into a corner through a stiff Irish whip and Payne goes on with what he calls the machine gun chops! A series of repeated knife-edge chops in the corner and Xander keeps striking until the official gets in the way.
Deadprez: STIFF FOREARM SMASH OF XANDER ON CHRIS AND HE REPEATS IT A BUNCH OF TIMES once again stopped by the official. Xander steps back BEFORE GOING FOR A STEP-UP ENZIGURI INTO THE CORNER!!
Gavin Kirkland: Chris is holding onto the ropes looking like he’s in another timezone under the cold gaze of Xander who is looking down upon him like he’s nothing. Payne grabs Elite’s head, throwing a few punches to the side of the head keeping the pressure on Chris the former Blicky Boy BEFORE SUDDENLY SCOOPING THEN LIFTING CHRIS AND SWING HIM INTO AN EXPLODER SUPLEX IN THE CENTER OF THE RING!!!
Eve: Xander goes to his feet quickly, zoning in on Chris Elite actually forcing him to his feet before hoisting him on his shoulders, AND DROPS TO A KNEE FOR AN INVERTED USHIGORISHI!!!! THAT COULD BREAK A MAN’S BACK!!
Deadprez: Payne doesn’t seem to care about that as he continues the attack, this time going for a fallaway slam Samoan drop combination SENDING CHRIS STRAIGHT AGAINST THE NEARBY TURNBUCKLES!!! He isn’t done, however, helping his opponent up he throws him into the ropes AND TAKES HIM UP THEN HARSHLY DOWN WITH A POP-UP DEATH VALLEY DRIVER!! XANDER WITH THE COVER!!

( While the match takes place, we see a backstage shot of Ryan Joseph Wilson, siding with his promotional director Miss Demi Knorr and looking with focus on the big television screen in front of him. The match between Payne and Elite is playing live and Ryan seems to have all of his attention solely on the screen. )
Interviewer: If I can have a word with mister Wilson.
Miss Demi Knorr: You cannot. Be on your way, you will be notified in due time. Shoo now.
Deadprez: Xander is foul-mouthing Chris, telling him he doesn’t deserve to be a Hall of Famer, and that he isn’t the best wrestler in the world AND CHRIS RESPONDS WITH A RIGHT HOOK! AND THE THE DICKEATERY STOPPER! THE MIKE TYSON UPPERCUT SENDS PAYNE REELING BACKWARDS AND INTO THE ROPES! Bouncing off the ropes CHRIS SMACKS THE SHIT OUT OF HIM!
Gavin Kirkland: He follows with the Five Borough Combo! One Punch! Then a second! Followed by a shoot kick chained up with a back fish and concluded with a lariat! Down goes Xander! Chris is turning the tides to his advantage in this match where Xander had the upper hand for a while! Xander tries for a kick to the shin but Elite blocks and backs away quickly before moving with a knee to Xander’s face!
Eve: Picking up Payne, Elite takes that opportunity and whips Xander into the ropes, CLOTHESLINE by Elite! Down goes Payne who gets back up BUT IS TAKEN BACK DOWN WITH A CLOTHESLINE! AND THEN HE PERFORMS A HEADSHOT! THE PELE KICK CONNECTS ON PAYNE WHO GOES DOWN ONCE AGAIN!
Deadprez: Quick on his feet the former World Champion goes to the ropes AND GOES INTO A SPRINGBOARD MOONSAULT! PERFECTLY EXECUTED BY ONE-HALF OF THE HAIRCARE KINGS WHO HOOKS THE LEGS ON HIS OPPONENT!

Deadprez: Xander kicks out! Good offensive straight by Elite who wants to do more damage to Xander, moving behind him the Brooklyn native hung Payne’s back AND SENDS HIM OVERHEAD WITH A SUPLEX! PAYNE LANDS ALMOST ON HIS HEAD WHICH HE HOLDS WITH BOTH HANDS NOW! To the ropes goes Elite once again with speed SPRINGBOARDING HIMSELF INTO A LEG DROP THAT LANDS! Xander Payne’s in trouble now as Chris goes to the top rope and measures his opponent AND THROWS HIMSELF INTO A FROG SP-NO! Xander rolled outside of the ring under the boos of the crowd.
Gavin Kirkland: Not a bad move really and Chris managed to parkour roll to safety he expected Xander to do that as he went through the ropes and stands on the apron looking down on his enemy. AND SUDDENLY HE THROWS HIMSELF INTO A BICYCLE KICK THAT LANDS ON THE BACK OF XANDER!! Elite grabs the bigger man by the head, helps him up, AND SLAMS HIM AGAINST THE RING APRON, AND THEN AGAINST THE SECURITY RAILING!! Xander is in trouble and Elite doesn’t look to be done!
Eve: Elite goes back on that apron, looking intent to pull a move from there once again, AND LANDS A FROG SPLASH THAT LANDS ON XANDER! THIS TIME THE TARGET IS STRUCK TRUE and the official is yelling that he’ll be starting to count soon if the action doesn’t resume back inside the ring. Chris goes to throw a few punches at Xander from a mounted position before moving up to whip Xander inside the ring before the official could begin to execute his threat. Chris hops on the apron before going between the ropes and goes to get Xander upward.
Deadprez: Irish whip into a corner followed by a charging crossbody against Payne! Elite hops on the second rope and grabs the back of Payne’s head AND BEGINS UNLOADING PUNCHES!!
Crowd: ONE! TWO!! THREE!!! FOUR!!!! FIVE!!!!! SIX!!!!!! SEVEN!!!!!!! EIGHT!!!!!!!! NINE!!!!!!!!! … … … TEN!!!!!!!!!!
Gavin KIrkland: The crowd is having a blast as Chris Elite is trying to punch into Xander’s thick skull that he deserves to be a Hall of Famer! AND HE SUDDENLY MOVES TO MONKEY-FLIP XANDER TO THE CENTER OF THE RING!! PAYNE LANDS SQUARE ON HIS BACK AND HE’S HOLDING IT IN PAIN! AND CHRIS WITH A RUNNING KNEE TO THE BACK OF XANDER’S HEAD! Eve: Xander is trying to get to his knees but he is greeted upward with DREAMING! The axe kick from Chris Elite before quickly picking up Xander to force him onto his feet. Irish whip to a corner and Chris go to the opposite one before charging toward Payne. HAWK EM! THE RUNNING DOUBLE KNEE CRUSHES XANDER PAYNE IN THE CORNER HE WAS SITTING AT!!
Deadprez: Picking up Xander from the corner, Chris moves him up and LANDS THE MOOD SWING!! THE FRONT FLIP SNAPMARE DRIVER CONNECTS! DOWN GOES PAYNE! AND CHRIS ELITE KIP-UPS HIS WAY BACK TO HIS FEET BEFORE GOING TO A CORNER. What is he waiting for?
Gavin Kirkland: He is poised for a strike, waiting on Xander to get up and the former Champion is slowly doing so AND CHRIS SUDDENLY DASHES FORWARD RAMMING INTO HIS OPPONENT!! THE ALMIGHTY PUSH SENDS XANDER OUTSIDE OF THE RING!! WHAT A POUNCE!!!
Eve: Chris looks down on his opponent before he gathers the cheers of the crowd with a bit of encouragement. He picks up Payne, a few punches to the face before moving the big man INTO A SIT-OUT POWERBOMB!!! BIG BOOM THE MOVE LANDS AND CHRIS KEEPS XANDER’S SHOULDERS DOWN!!!

Deadprez: A great match indeed, both men gave a massive effort to try and win!! Xander emerged on top and unfortunately despite his hard work Chris Elite is once more on the wrong end of things.
Eve: I feel bad for him though, but he will bounce back, he is too good not to. Until then, congratulations to Xander Payne.
( While we see Xander celebrate on his way up the ramp, inside the ring stands a frustrated Chris Elite who is looking very emotional and hugely disappointed to have lost. The final shot sees him yell in anger before the transition to what comes next after the commercial break )

(“Sweet Dreams” by Eurythmics, Annie Lennox & Dave Stewart starts play as Universal Women’s Champion Harper Lee enters the arena to really loud boos from the crowd. Harper is either oblivious or she is outright ignoring the jeers because she is smiling and waving to the crowd as she heads to the ring.)
Gavin Kirkland: Here comes the Universal Women’s Champion. She’s all smiles now, but I don’t think she will be smiling when she steps into the ring next week in Auckland, New Zealand for when she faces probably her biggest challenge to date.
Deadprez: That’s right. She will be taking on the returning Sienna Jade in what is Sienna’s first title match in over two years. Speaking of Sienna, back at Territorial Invasion, I said that she was part of the EAW Hall of Fame, I do apologize about that. She is not a Hall of Famer yet, but there is no doubt that she will be. You could also say the same thing about Harper Lee. If you don’t believe me, just ask her.
(Harper enters the ring and grabs the microphone at the edge of the ring before walking over to Eve as her entrance music fades off.)
Eve: Harper, thank you for your time, so let me go ahead and get started with the questions. My first question is how do you feel about the threat the Sienna Jade brings to you and your championship?
(Harper looks at Eve for a second before she starts laughing. She tries her hardest not to go into hysterics with laughter as she takes a deep breath and wipes away the tears that are starting to form in her eyes.)
Harper Lee: Ohhhhhh. Eve, that was great. I needed that laugh and boy that was very funny. Come on, Eve. Get serious. After everything that myself and Sienna Jade have been through the last few weeks, I know very well that Sienna Jade is nothing more than a very VERY desperate woman.
Eve: Desperate? What exactly do you mean by Sienna being desperate?
Harper Lee: Do you not see it? It’s completely obvious. All she is wanting to do is get as much momentum as she can going into Justified Reckoning all while gaslighting everyone who is within listening distance of her big mouth into believing that she has the right to be the Universal Women’s Champion.
Eve: I mean Sienna Jade is a former Women’s World Champion. I think she has proven that she deserves to be the Universal Women’s Champion.
Harper Lee: Oh please, Eve. Spare the long trip down memory lane telling the tales of Sienna Jade’s career. She was the Women’s Champion like forty years ago or something. All she is now is a shell of her former self. All she is right now is a part time wrestler who only comes around when it’s convenient for her and she needs a paycheck.
Eve: I’m sorry to disagree, but ever since she returned at Territorial Invasion, she has been devoting herself to EAW full time with her eyes on you and the Universal Women’s Title.
Harper Lee: Blah blah blah. Save the sob story. What exactly did she do to earn this match with me? She didn’t win any Number One Contender’s match and she sure as heck didn’t defeat me in a nontitle match… not that she could beat me anyways.
Eve: How can you say that Sienna Jade didn’t ear….
(Harper takes her pointer finger and places it close to Eve’s mouth, effectively cutting her off.)
Harper Lee: I am going to cut you off right there, Eve. She didn’t earn this title opportunity against the woman who is no doubt the greatest Universal Women’s Champion in ALLLLLLLLLL of Elite Answers Wrestling history. If Sienna Jade really thinks she is going to leapfrog all the full time women on the EAW and cut right to the front of the line, she has another thing coming.
(Harper moves the microphone from her mouth for a second and shakes her head in disgust before continuing on with what she has to say.)
Harper Lee: Now I really don’t like most of the women’s roster in EAW, but I would much rather defend my championship against a woman who is actually here full time instead of this old has been who has been sitting on her couch eating bonbons and watching soap operas for the last two years. The only reason she has this title match is because of all the hoopla of her “triumphant” return to EAW.
Eve: I’m not going to speak for Sienna Jade, but I highly doubt that anything you are saying is relatively close to the truth. She has worked so hard to make her return after being away for so long.
Harper Lee: Mmmhmmm. Yeah whatever. As she was out doing who the heck cares what for two years, I have been working my butt off, improving my craft, and showing the world that I am the hero that EAW needs and making a statement as the Universal Women’s Champion. Sienna Jade is nothing more than a glory hound. She only wants the title so she can get herself in the spotlight again when she was never needed in the first place. Sienna Jade care only about the gold and the spotlight that comes with it. I actually care about the championship and its legacy. I care about what it actually means to hold a championship of this caliber.
(Harper holds the championship belt high in the air as the crowd starts to boo her again. She once again soaks in the reaction of the crowd before she continues.)
Harper Lee: THAT is why I am and I always will be the greatest Universal Women’s Champion of all time and that is something that you absolutely can NOT dispute.
Eve: You’ve provided some very interesting viewpoints of the situation, but I do have another question for you. Do you have this feeling that maybe you are not giving Sienna Jade enough… or any… credit for what she already accomplished in this business during her career?
(Harper rolls her eyes again and scoffs at what Eve asked.)
Harper Lee: That’s amusing… oh! You were being serious. Eve, Sienna Jade could have had the most successful career for any woman up until now, but now things have changed. Sienna Jade is about to lock up with the new face of the division. She might have been red hot ten years ago, but nowadays, that little flame of hers has dimmed considerably. All she is going to accomplish next week is proving how right I am. Sienna Jade is out of touch and she is going to embarrass herself out in the ring when she gets easily defeated by me. Pure greatness!
(Harper then turns to face the camera. She gets up close before continuing.)
Harper Lee: Hey, Sienna. I hope you are listening to me right now because you need to listen up and listen to everything I have to say. You have some guts to step up to me and want a title shot, but you sure as hell don’t have much when it comes to brains. Let me say this to you so you understand EVERYTHING that I have to say. There’s only one person who can stand atop the mountain that I have called mine for the last 3 months. After Justified Reckoning, there will only be one woman who will have the last laugh and have the honor of calling herself champion. Honey, get it through your thick skull now that that woman is going to be ME!
(Harper drops the mic and holds the Universal Women’s Championship in the air one more time as “Sweet Dreams” starts playing again and the crowd starts booing loudly again as she exits the ring.)
Eve: Ladies and gentlemen. Once again, the Universal Women’s Champion, Harper Lee!
Gavin Kirkland: Statement certainly made here tonight on Showdown. Harper Lee has alot of confidence going into this match that she will walk in and walk out of Auckland and Justified Reckoning as the Universal Women’s Champion. I hope Sienna Jade was watching this.
Deadprez: You don’t have to ask because we both know that she was. Harper Lee better be careful because all those comments will probably do is just fire Sienna Jade up. If it did, Harper’s title reign could be in jeopardy. Who will leave as the Universal Women’s Champion? We will find out at Justified Reckoning.

Eve: These past few episodes of Showdown, Alex has been overcoming the likes of Chris Elite and TLA. Tonight, Adam Lucas is another one that Alex is going to terminate.
Deadprez: I’m very confident that Alex doing all of these to prove how much they are ready to fight for the world title in the future, to beat Impact, and become the new Answers World Champion. Let’s see if they are able to do it against Adam.

Eve: I’m great, especially since I’m about to see these two top-tier elitists going at each other! It’s going to be a great match for sure.
Deadprez: I would say the same as Eve but I want to know Kelton’s thoughts on this too. What do you think about this match?
Jon Kelton: I think it’s going to be great match but Eve, Adam is a top-tier elitist? It’s quite safe to say because he beat MR. DEDEDE but that’s really all his reputation he has. Beating Limmy and Chris to win the Hardcore title doesn’t immediately make him a top tier elitist, he’s still below a lot of people here, especially in the fact that he failed on multiple occasions. I do disagree with that, I don’t care if he’s talented, but if he loses a lot, I can’t say he’s a top-tier elitist.

Eve: Well, you could say that. If one person gets attacked by outsiders, they will automatically lose. Alex got punched by Kelton and that means they won the match.
Deadprez: Not the best way to end the match but it’s been three constructive wins for Alex against three of the main card stars. Chris Elite, TLA, and thanks to Kelton, Adam Lucas.
( ‘Manners’ by BAND-MAID plays throughout the arena as the crowd boos in disappointment, not for Alex, but for the result that turned out for this match. Alex slowly rolls underneath the bottom rope down to the ringside area. The camera cuts to Adam and shows him facepalming and Kelton, who rolls to the outside of the ring and smiles at the person who just caused him a loss. The final shot shows Adam leaning against the corner and shaking his head before the scene fades into darkness.)

Heidi Huxley is seen talking to Disney Executive Stan Baylor who seems to be always on his iPad. He looks to be taking notes as Heidi just finished watching Adam Lucas and Alex Meyers. Hurricane Hawk is nowhere to be around.)
Heidi Huxley: THIS is what I am talking about, Stan! This nonsense. I don’t understand how he can keep the inmates running the asylum! Hawk doesn’t get it; this is not the Disney way and I know that this should be special. It started off so special and now I don’t know anymore. Things have really gone off the deep end and I don’t know how much more I can handle of this! That is why I called you Stan and I know that your assessment is exactly what I believe it to be.
Stan Baylor: I am sure you do Heidi, but there is one question that is still on everyone’s mind as we speak and it affects the Brand, it affects everything that we are doing for Disney and the EAW. Hurricane Hawk is out of control right now but in a few weeks we might be without a General Manager as if his team loses, then he is no longer in charge.
(Heidi looks flustered because she knows that Stan brings up a good point, that if something is not done right away, they could find themselves without a General Manager. She paces a little, as Stan continues to take down some notes.)

(As she is speaking, the door slowly opens, Heidi turns as does Stan as Veena Adams walks in and waves. A huge smile brandished on her face as Heidi looks a bit confused and annoyed that she walked into the office without knocking…)

Veena Adams: Its all semantics. Knocks and doorbells do not exist in my world. Anyway, I happened to walk by, and the walls are thing here in South Africa, lo’ and behold I heard some of your conversation and that is quite the shame really. Nobody wants to see Hurricane Hawk go, but let’s be honest here, it’s Kassidy Heart and Impact, two of the very best, I don’t think it takes a brain surgeon to see that the odds are not forever in their favor.
Heidi Huxley: And what does that have to do with you, considering everyone knows that you do not have a high opinion of Hurricane Hawk or me for that matter. I don’t know what your game here is, but as you can see I am rather busy. So, if you have a point to make, I suggest you do it now.
(Veena snickers and walks over to Hurricane Hawk’s desk, leaning against it as she glares at Heidi Huxley….)

Veena Adams: Think about it for a second, who on your roster has the experience to make the right choices for the staff, Elitists, and the Brand itself. Veena Adams. I don’t need an answer right away, matter of fact, I am willing to prove myself to you if that is what it takes. I know that the match is sent, but I’m sure she is trying to manipulate this entire situation and whatever else. She’s a snake Heidi, do not listen to her.
Veena Adams: Me? You have it all wrong, see, I am trying to offer my help in a situation that doesn’t concern you but since you want to come in here and run your mouth, how about we do this. Since Holly Arrow will be tied up with Justified Reckoning over on Dynasty, how about you and I have ourselves a “Pick Your Poison” match? I will pick your opponent for next week and you pick mine. That way there is no bias, everything is fair, and you have nothing to complain about.
(Lexi stops and looks a bit surprised that Veena offered this considering she always likes to have the advantage.)

Deadprez: Holly Arrow heading to the ring for singles action and perhaps one of the biggest matches of her young career. She’s getting a match against the Answers World Champion. Can you imagine how fast Holly’s stock will rise if she can pull off the victory here tonight?
Eve: She would love to build up some momentum going into two big matches she has coming up. She teams with her boyfriend Jake Smith and Chris Elite to take on Soul Food Sunday at Justified Reckoning and at No Regards, she competes against Lexi and Veena in a triple threat match.
Gavin Kirkland: Holly Arrow has a lot coming up and a lot to prepare for, but she needs to keep her eyes on the ball for tonight. The Answers World Champion isn’t a 10 Time World Champion for showing mercy for unfocused opponents, but if Holly’s head is clear, she’s going to bring a heck of a fight and could easily walk away victorious.
(Holly enters the ring and takes her corner in the ring as her entrance music fades off. Seconds later, “M3tamorphosis” by Playboi Carti ft. Kid Cudi starts playing and the crowd immediately because they know who is about to enter the arena. Seconds after that, the Answers World Champion Impact enters the arena. Following close behind is Kassidy Heart. The crowd is letting them have it, but they don’t care as they head to the ring.)
Gina Romano: Introducing her opponent! Making his way to the ring, being accompanied by “The Mauler” Kassidy Heart. From Seattle, Washington! Weighing in at 221 pounds! Here is the reigning EAW Answers World Champion and “THE QUINTESSENTIAL CHAMPION” IMPACT!
Gavin Kirkland: #10Reignz is here and he is not coming alone. No surprise there. But that’s a testament to how determined they are for the task at hand. In two weeks, they have a chance to turn Showdown into their favor if they can manage to defeat Jack Ripley and Alex Myers.
Eve: They were off to a good start last week when they interfered in the Jack Ripley and Xander Payne match. Impact and Kass cost Jack the match when they attacked Xander causing the disqualification. Afterwards, the two completely obliterated Jack and Alex and left them just down and out in the ring.
Deadprez: As of right now, Impact and Kass have the one up on their opponents, but there is still time for both teams to build momentum. Tonight, Impact is looking to use Holly as an example as to what will happen in two weeks, but Holly won’t let that happen so easily. Who will walk out victorious? We’re about to find out.
(Impact enters the ring and Kassidy takes her place at ringside glaring at Holly as Impact’s music fades off. The competitors are in their respective corners as the referee checks them both before calling for the bell.)
(DING! DING! DING!)
Deadprez: Here we go! Bell has rung and we are underway with our main event. Holly and Impact are in the center of the ring. Holly looks ready to fight and Impact looks… amused? He has a smile on his face like he is almost laughing at Holly. Holly doesn’t like that one bit as she shoves Impact.
Eve: Impact rolls his eyes and he shoves Holly back and she lands sitting on the mat and she is not happy at all. She’s back to her feet and she goes for a lock up, but Impact ducks out of the way. Impact is behind Holly and IMPACT SHOVES HOLLY FACE FIRST TO THE MAT!
Gavin Kirkland: Holly is now to the point of being enraged with the disrespect being shown by Impact. She gets back up to her feet again and she gets right in Impact’s face. Holly tells off Impact before HOLLY SLAPS IMPACT RIGHT ACROSS THE FACE! LOOK AT IMPACT’S FACE!
Deadprez: IMPACT IS NOT HAPPY AT ALL! The smile he had on his face moments ago with the amusement of the beginning of the match is completely gone and he is now strictly business. It’s early on in the match and Holly might have made a big mistake. Holly looks to go and slap Impact again–
Gavin Kirkland: DOUBLE LEG TAKEDOWN BY IMPACT AND HE IS POUNDING HIS FISTS RIGHT INTO HOLLY’S FACE! HOLLY IS DOING HER BEST TO BLOCK THOSE PUNCHES BUT IMPACT IS SHOWING SUCH INTENSITY AT THE MOMENT! The referee is admonishing Impact to open up the fists, but Impact keeps punching for a few moments before opening up.
Eve: Kassidy Heart is looking on at ringside with approval now that Impact has the advantage. Impact brings Holly back to her feet and whips her to the ropes. Holly with the rebound and IMPACT TAKES HOLLY DOWN WITH A BACK BODY DROP! Holly lands hard on her back!
Deadprez: Impact was going to have a little fun with Holly, but fun went out the window when he got slapped and now he’s strictly business. Impact pulls Holly back to her feet and just SLAMS her onto the mat. Impact then jumps AND DROPS AN ELBOW ACROSS HOLLY’S CHEST!
Gavin Kirkland: Impact thought about going for a cover, but he decided against it. Instead he hits the ropes before DROPPING THE LEG ACROSS THE THROAT NOW OF HOLLY ARROW! HOLLY HOLDS HER THROAT IN PAIN! Impact loves to cause pain and he’s off to a good start with Holly.
Eve: Impact once again pulls Holly back to her feet and whips her to the ropes. Holly rebounds as Impact goes for a clothesline BUT HOLLY DUCKS IT! HOLLY GRABS HOLD OF IMPACT’S ARM AND GETS HERSELF INTO A CRUCIFIX POSITION! HOLLY TRYING TO TAKE IMPACT DOWN AND ROLL HIM UP–
Deadprez: BUT IMPACT JUST DROPS DOWN AND COUNTERS WITH A MODIFIED SAMOAN DROP! Impact lands hard on Holly with that move. Holly is barely moving as Impact turns around and hooks the leg for the first cover of the match.

Gavin Kirkland: HOLLY KICKS OUT AT TWO! It is going to take a lot more than that to take Holly down at this point in time in the match up. If Impact wants to cause maximum damage, he needs to stay on Holly’s once injured neck. That will be where it will hurt Holly the most.
Deadprez: Holly is slowly moving after that Samoan Drop, but that isn’t stopping Impact from DROPPING A KNEE RIGHT IN HER SPINE! Holly sent back down to the mat and right now Impact will not let up. Holly is trying to crawl to the ropes, but Impact is stalking right behind her.
Gavin Kirkland: Impact lifts his boot up AND HE TRIES TO STOMP ON HOLLY’S HAND, BUT MOVES HER HAND OUT OF THE WAY AT THE LAST SECOND! HE TRIES AGAIN ON THE OTHER HAND AND HOLLY ROLLS OUTSIDE AND TO THE APRON. What is wrong with him? That is completely unnecessary!
Eve: Anything to win. No mercy shown and take no prisoners. That is Impact’s mantra of his career. We don’t have to like it, and we don’t, but it has brought him major success throughout his career and there is no doubt about that. Holly is on the outside apron, but she better not stay there too long with Impact on the inside and Kassidy heart on the outside.
Deadprez: Kass will not interfere in this match. She feels that Impact has this match in the bag, so she’s there as almost a psychological tactic to throw Holly off her game. Speaking of that, Impact has a handful of Holly’s hair and brings her right back to her feet.
Eve: The referee admonishes Impact to let go of the hair now that Holly is back to her feet. Impact has a facelock applied and tries to bring Holly back in the ring with a suplex, BUT HOLLY IS FIGHTING IT! Holly is shifting her weight and she is back on her feet on the apron.
Gavin Kirkland: Now turnabout is fair play as now Holly has a handful of Impact’s hair as she tries to grab the back of his head AND SHE DROPS DOWN AND CATCHES IMPACT’S THROAT ON THE TOP ROPE! RESOURCEFUL BY HOLLY! It didn’t do a lot of damage but it got Impact off kilter for a moment.
Deadprez: It also gives Holly a quick chance to recover and come up with a plan of action and I think she has. As Impact turned his back to Holly after being caught on the ropes, Holly jumps onto the top and CATCHES IMPACT IN THE BACK OF THE HEAD WITH A SPRINGBOARD DROPKICK!
Gavin Kirkland: Great move by Holly Arrow! That had to hurt his neck more than he is showing since Holly caught him right on the button. Not on that, but the force of the dropkick sent Impact face first into the mat. Holly sees a golden opportunity to roll Impact over and go for the quick cover.

Eve: IMPACT GETS THE SHOULDER UP! You have to admire Holly’s opportunistic attitude and determination, but it’s going to take much more than a dropkick to put Mr. #10Reignz down for the three count. Holly sees that and she gets back to her feet and she starts delivering the boots to wherever they will land on Impact.
Deadprez: Not a bad strategy to have right now because at this time, Holly needs to deal damage wherever and however she can. She grabs Impact by the hair and brings Impact back to his feet. She attempts the Irish whip Impact, but Impact quickly reverses.
Gavin Kirkland: Holly rebounds and SHE TRIES FOR A SLINGBLADE BUT IMPACT STOPS HER IN MIDAIR AND DROPS HER DOWN WITH A WICKED LOOKING SPINEBUSTER! DID YOU SEE HOW HOLLY’S HEAD SNAPPED BACK WHEN SHE LANDED? That just shows that even though Impact has a really evil attitude, he can turn any match in his favor at the drop of a hat.
Eve: Holly is down and IMPACT TAKES A CHANCE TO JUST BLATANTLY CHOKE HOLLY! HE KNOWS THAT’S ILLEGAL! The referee admonishes Impact to let the choke go and Impact lets go on four and risking disqualification on five. He also has the expertise to know how to bend the rules in his favor and how long he can get away with it.
Deadprez: LOOK AT IMPACT! AS HE IS ARGUING WITH THE REFEREE, HE HAS HIS BOOT ON HOLLY’S THROAT AND THE REFEREE DOESN’T SEE IT! DIRTY TACTICS BEING SHOWN BY THE ANSWERS WORLD CHAMPION! Holly is kicking and flailing trying to get free, but right now to no avail—
Gavin Kirkland: NOW THE REFEREE SEES IT! HE GETS RIGHT IN IMPACT’S FACE AND TELLS HIM TO GET OFF OF HOLLY’S THROAT! This time the referee is not waiting to start the count. The referee once again reaches four before Impact moves his boot. The referee has now told Impact that he’s treading dangerous waters.
Eve: Is that the same referee that Kassidy had a problem with a few weeks back? If so, they better be careful unless they want to lose their job. Kassidy knows some people… to say the least. I think it is because Kassidy is glaring at the referee down from outside the ring. She is screaming at the ref to… well… clean up what she said, she told them to do their job right.
Gavin Kirkland: Impact rolls his eyes and is pretty much ignoring the referee as he brings Holly back to her feet and grabs her by her wrists and JUST STARTS SPINNING HER AROUND IN CIRCLES! THAT HAS GOT TO BE PAINFUL FOR HOLLY! This is almost like a reverse giant swing type maneuver.
Deadprez: This is not one of Impact’s usual moves, but remember what we said. He loves to torture his opponents in any way he can. I guess pain, agony, and creativity can go hand in hand. Impact thinks he’s done enough revolutions on the move AND HE JUST LETS HOLLY GO AND HOLLY JUST GOES SAILING LIKE A FRISBEE HALFWAY ACROSS THE RING!
Gavin Kirkland: HOLLY LANDS HARD AND BOUNCES OFF THE BOTTOM ROPE! IF THAT ROPE WASN’T THERE, SHE WOULD HAVE SAILED RIGHT OUT OF THE RING AND HAD A MUCH WORSE LANDING! Impact takes a second to have a quick recovery after getting a little dizzy, but he’s right back and going after Holly again.
Deadprez: He picks up Holly and shoves her right into the corner. Impact winds up AND HE JUST CHOPS HOLLY RIGHT ACROSS THE CHEST! YOU COULD SEE HOLLY’S EYES WIDEN AFTER THAT! IF SHE DIDN’T HANG ON TO THE ROPES, SHE’D BE ON THE MAT RIGHT NOW!
Eve: Impact is so relentless! He shoves Holly back into the corner AND HE JUST CHOPS HOLLY ACROSS THE CHEST AGAIN! YOU CAN START TO SEE WELTS FORMING ALREADY! I can only imagine how they sound on those 4K TVs at home. Regardless, Impact picks Holly up and sits her on the top turnbuckle.
Gavin Kirkland: Impact tries to fire a forearm, BUT HOLLY HAS THE AWARENESS TO BLOCK IT WITH HER BOOT! IMPACT TRIES TO COME OFF THE OTHER SIDE, BUT HOLLY BLOCKS IT AGAIN! Holly is now standing on the second rope BEFORE SHE JUMPS OVER IMPACT AND TRIES TO TAKE HIM DOWN WITH A SUNSET FLIP–
Deadprez: IMPACT HAS BLOCKED IT! He grabs Holly’s legs and tries to bring her back up. He does, but Holly uses all of the force and might she has to flip forward with all her strength AND SHE MANAGES TO TAKE THE BIGGER IMPACT DOWN WITH A SUNSET FLIP BOMB!
Eve: Impact landed hard after that sunset flip bomb, especially the back of his head. Now Holly has hold of Impact’s waist and she puts him in perfect position for a pinfall. The referee checks his shoulders and they are indeed down for the cover.

Deadprez: HOW IN THE HELLO THERE DID HOLLY DO THAT? Holly Arrow knew she couldn’t muscle Impact off of her, but she did manage to kick up enough to get her shoulder off the canvas. The referee didn’t see the cheating, but he did see the kickout. You have got to hand it to Holly Arrow.
Gavin Kirkland: If she hadn’t made a name for herself already, she certainly is making a name for herself right now. She is taking everything Impact is throwing at her and coming back for more. This young lady has the heart of a determined fighter.
Eve: Impact knows what happened and Holly hasn’t moved. IMPACT TRIES TO JUST SIT DOWN ON HOLLY, BUT HOLLY MOVES OUT OF THE WAY AND IMPACT LANDS HARD ON THE MAT! Holly once again crucifixes Impact and this time she succeeds in getting Impact over for the rollup–
Deadprez: Impact rolls free before the referee can even start the count. Impact is back to his feet before Holly can even more and HE DROPKICKS HOLLY RIGHT IN THE FACE! I THINK HOLLY CAUGHT A BOOT IN THE JAW AND THAT MIGHT HAVE LOOSENED SOME OF HOLLY’S TEETH!
Gavin Kirkland: I think we all know that Impact really doesn’t care about stuff like that. In his mind, what damage his opponents receive against him, they deserve it for even stepping into the same ring as him. Impact pulls Holly out of the corner by the hair and back to her feet as Holly is whipped into the ropes.
Deadprez: Holly hits the ropes and comes back as Impact goes for a tilt a whirl backbreaker, BUT HOLLY MANAGES TO WRAP HER LEGS AROUND IMPACT’S HEAD AT THE LAST SECOND AND SHE COUNTERS WITH A MODIFIED HEADSCISSORS! IMPACT TAKEN FOR A RIDE!
Eve: Creative counter by Holly Arrow as Impact makes it back to his feet AND HOLLY TAKES IMPACT DOWN WITH A RUNNING CLOTHESLINE! Impact back to his feet again ONLY TO BE TAKEN DOWN BY A SECOND RUNNING CLOTHESLINE FROM HOLLY ARROW!
Gavin Kirkland: Impact is once again back to his feet AND HOLLY ATTEMPTS A THIRD CLOTHESLINE ONLY TO BE KNOCKED SILLY WITH A HEADBUTT FROM IMPACT! Holly is still on her feet since she didn’t get the chance to try for the clothesline, but she is dazed.
Deadprez: It also creates a perfect chance for Impact to do more damage as he lifts Holly up with a full nelson BEFORE PLANTING HER WITH THE HAIL MARY! HOLLY LANDED HARD AGAINST THE MAT AFTER THAT FULL NELSON FACEBUSTER AND IMPACT TURNS HER OVER FOR THE COVER!

Eve: HOLLY GETS THE SHOULDER UP RIGHT BEFORE THREE! OH WHAT A NEAR FALL! What a great match this has been between these two, but adulation can hold off for a second as Impact drags Holly over to the corner. Folks, she has not moved since being planted with that facebuster moments ago.
Gavin Kirkland: Now we see Impact going up to the second rope. Very rare place for Impact to be since he doesn’t fly very often, but he likes to go for the moonsault in this position. What a thing of beauty it will be if Impact hits this moonsault.
Deadprez: IMPACT JUMPS AND LOOKS FOR THE MOONSAULT, BUT HE LANDS IN AN EMPTY POOL AS HOLLY ROLLS AWAY JUST ENOUGH FOR IMPACT TO HIT NOTHING AND HE IS DEFINITELY FEELING IT! Impact is holding his stomach in pain after that bad landing.
Eve: That also gives Holly an opportunity to get back to her feet and get on the attack, which she looks to be doing. Impact now on his knees as Holly runs to Impact AND LAYS HIM OUT WITH A SPINNING BACK KICK RIGHT INTO THIS FACE! IMPACT GOES DOWN LIKE A TON OF BRICKS AS HOLLY SCRAMBLES INTO THE COVER!

Deadprez: IMPACT KICKED OUT AND BOY DID HE EVER! That kick out had some authority behind it. Impact has been on top of the mountain since Pain for Pride and the last thing that he wants to do is lose to Holly Arrow. Right now, that could be close to being the case. Holly has done an amazing job in this match.
Gavin Kirkland: She has, but don’t count out the fact that Impact has so much durability thanks to his years of experience in the ring. That won’t stop Holly, though. She has mounted Impact AND NOW IT IS HER TURN TO START LAYING FISTS INTO IMPACT!
Deadprez: Holly got a few good shots in, but Impact still has that size and power advantage. Holly got shoved off him with ease. Impact trying to make it back to his feet, BUT HOLLY HAS CLIMBED ON HIS BACK TO TRY SOME SORT OF SLEEPER HOLD, BUT IMPACT STILL GETS UP!
Eve: Impact is back to his feet AND HOLLY IS SITTING ON HIS SHOULDERS! BEFORE IMPACT CAN THINK OF A COUNTER HOLLY ROLLS FORWARD AND TRIES TO TAKE IMPACT INTO A VICTORY ROLL
Gavin Kirkland: BUT IMPACT IS HOLDING HIS GROUND! IMPACT IS STILL ON HIS FEET AND HE IS BRINGING HOLLY BACK UP! WHAT POWER BEING SHOWN BY THE ANSWERS WORLD CHAMPION! Holly knows she might be in a mess of trouble, but Impact changes her position. HOLLY IS IN THE POWERBOMB POSITION AND HOLLY IS IN BIG TROUBLE!
Eve: Holly trying to get Impact to lose his balance in some way, BUT IT ISN’T GOING TO WORK AS IMPACT PLANTS HER HARD TO THE MAT WITH A VERY VICIOUS POWERBOMB! HOLLY WITH ANOTHER UGLY LANDING AS IMPACT STACKS HER UP FOR THE COVER!

Deadprez: HOW IN THE WORLD DID SHE DO THAT? HOW IN THE WORLD DID HOLLY ARROW KICK OUT OF THAT POWERBOMB? Holly had to be on dream street and it had to be the intuition of a competitor that helped Holly kick out of that painful powerbomb.
Gavin Kirkland: People didn’t give Holly a chance in this match, but she is doing amazing in this match. Impact has looked as good as he ever had in this match and Holly is still kicking out. But once again Impact has firm control of this match. With Impact, it’s not a matter of IF… it’s a matter of WHEN!
Eve: Impact going back to the basics now with a front facelock applied and he just brings her down with a beautiful snap suplex. Holly with another hard landing on her back. That just can not be good for her. Right now it looks like it’s about to get worse.
Deadprez: OH NO! IMPACT HAS HOLLY’S LEGS! IMPACT LIKES TO GO FOR THE WALLS OF IMPACT IN THIS SPOT! HOLLY KNOWS IT TOO AND SHE IS FIGHTING IT! SHE IS MOVING AND SQUIRMING AS MUCH AS SHE CAN TO PREVENT FROM BEING ROLLED OVER!
Gavin Kirkland: That’s right! If Holly gets rolled over, Impact places a knee into the upper back and the match will be all but over. Holly is still fighting it and she is about a fingertip away from the ropes. Will she be able to reach the ropes? Holly is AL. MOST. THEEERRRRRRREEEE! CAN SHE DO IT—
Deadprez: YES SHE CAN! SHE GOT IT! SHE MANAGED TO GRAB THE ROPES AND CAUSE THE REFEREE TO TELL IMPACT TO BREAK THE HOLD! SAVING GRACE FOR HOLLY ARROW! If she would have got caught in the Walls of Impact, she would have no doubt lost this match.
Eve: Now she is able to fight again another day. BUT THAT DOESN’T STOP IMPACT FROM DRIVING HIS KNEES INTO THE SMALL OF HOLLY’S BACK AS SHE TRIED TO RECOVER! Holly Arrow once again rolls out to the ring apron AND THIS TIME IMPACT ISN’T GOING TO GIVE HER A CHANCE TO RECOVER AND COUNTER!
Gavin Kirkland: IMPACT GRABS HOLLY BY THE HEAD AND BRINGS HER OVER THE TOP ROPE AND BACK INTO THE RING THE HARD WAY. Right now Kassidy Heart is looking on with great satisfaction on her face. She believes that this match is about to be over very quickly.
Eve: It very well might be if Impact has his way. Impact doesn’t waste a second as he brings Holly back up to her feet and rears back his right hand. Impact looking to put an exclamation point on this match by knocking Holly out with a mean right hook.
Gavin Kirkland: Fist of Fury on the way, BUT HOLLY GRABS IMPACT’S AND DROPS TO HER KNEES TO COUNTER INTO A JAWBREAKER! Holly quickly back to her feet as she fires some wicked forearms of her own to Impact’s face.
Deadprez: Holly goes for another Irish Whip, but Impact once again counters and it is Holly whipped into the ropes. Holly with the rebound AND SHE RUNS RIGHT INTO A NICE SPINNING WHEEL KICK FROM THE ANSWERS WORLD CHAMPION!
Gavin Kirkland: That kick caught Holly right in the side of the head and she is not moving. Impact drags Holly over to the center of the ring before he runs to the ropes. IMPACT JUMPS ONTO THE SECOND ROPE! IMPACT GOING FOR THE FLIGHT SIGHTS LIONSAULT—-
Deadprez: Holly rolls out of the way and Impact lands on his feet after the lionsault attempt. Holly makes it back to her feet and runs for Impact, WHO TRIES FOR THE FIST OF FURY PUNCH BUT HOLLY DUCKS IT AND GRABS THE ARM BEFORE FLOATING OVER AND PLANTING IMPACT WITH A DDT!
Eve: Holly has something in mind as she makes her way up to the top turnbuckle as Impact is still down. She’s up on the top turnbuckle trying to find her footing, BUT IMPACT WAS PLAYING POSSUM! IMPACT GETS BACK TO HIS FEET AND SWEEPS HOLLY’S ANKLE OUT FROM UNDER HER AND DOWN SHE GOES!
Deadprez: HOLLY LANDS HARD ON THE TOP TURNBUCKLE! Holly in prime position for attack as Impact climbs up to the second rope and tries to facelock Holly. Impact is looking to take Holly down with a superplex, BUT HOLLY IS FIGHTING BACK! HOLLY THROWING RIGHT HANDS TO THE RIBS TO GET IMPACT TO LET GO AND HE DOES–
Gavin Kirkland: Impact won’t give up that easy as he fires back at Holly with a right hand and Holly reciprocates with one of her own. Here comes Impact firing back with another right hand. These two are just having a slugfest in the corner, but HOLLY MANAGES TO GET THE UPPER HAND AND SHE CATCHES IMPACT RIGHT IN THE TEMPLE BEFORE SHOVING HIM OFF THE ROPES!
Eve: IMPACT LOSES HIS BALANCE AND HE GOES CRASHING FACE FIRST INTO THE TOP TURNBUCKLE! IMPACT STAGGERS BACK AND HE IS A LITTLE DAZED AFTER MEETING THE TURNBUCKLE! NOW HOLLY GETS HER BALANCE AS IMPACT TURNS AROUND AND JUMPS OFF THE TOP TURNBUCKLE!
Gavin Kirkland: HOLLY COMES CRASHING ONTO IMPACT WITH THE HOLLY GO ROUND! HOLLY HIT THE BULLSEYE AS SHE LANDS RIGHT ON THE CHEST OF THE ANSWERS WORLD CHAMPION! THE BACK OF HIS HEAD CRASHES HARD AGAINST THE MAT AND HOLLY HOOKS THE LEG! SHE MIGHT HAVE THIS! WHAT AN UPSET THIS WOULD BE!

Deadprez: IMPACT KICKED OUT! IMPACT KICKED OUT RIGHT BEFORE THE THREE! HOLLY ARROW WAS LESS THAN A SECOND AWAY FROM PICKING UP A MONUMENTAL UPSET VICTORY! OH MY GOSH! THAT WAS SO CLOSE! If you could have seen at ringside, you would have seen Kassidy Heart let out a sigh of relief. She thought it was very close!
Eve: But that isn’t going to stop Holly from getting the job done. She is persistent and she is climbing right back up to the top rope, but she is not getting in position to go for the Holly Go Round again. She is crouching on the top rope!
Deadprez: That can only mean one thing! Holly is going for the Totem Killer from the top rope. If she hits this spear this match will no doubt be over.
Gavin Kirkland: THAT’S EVISCERATION! THE EVISCERATION BY IMPACT! WHAT A COUNTER! HE CAUGHT HOLLY IN MIDAIR AS SHE WENT FOR THE TOTEM KILLER FROM THE TOP ROPE AND THE DOUBLE KNEE FACEBREAKER CONNECTS RIGHT ON THE MONEY!
Deadprez: HOLLY BOUNCES BACK HARD AGAINST THE CANVAS! HOLLY MIGHT BE KNOCKED OUT COLD AND SHE MIGHT HAVE JUST BEEN EVISCERATED! Impact looks proud of himself as he drops down and gets into the cover. The leg is hooked and her shoulders are down!

(“M3tamorphosis” starts playing again as Impact rolls off Holly and makes it back to his feet as the crowd starts to loudly boo Impact out of the building again.)
Gina Romano: Here is your winner! The EAW Answers World Champion IMPACT!
Deadprez: What a great match to wrap up Showdown. Holly had such heart and such fighting spirit throughout this match. She took whatever Impact threw at her and asked for more, but it just wasn’t enough as Holly eventually fell to the Answers World Champion.
(The referee hands Impact the Answers World Championship belt and then tries to raise his arm in victory, but Kassidy has come into the ring and shoves the ref away. The ref was going to say something, but Kass stares daggers and the referee decides to leave the ring and not get into a fight.)
Gavin Kirkland: Ever since he won the title at Pain for Pride, Impact has been a dangerous force here on Showdown. Now that he and Kassidy Heart’s arrangement is in full force, this duo is virtually unstoppable. Who can stop these two?
Eve: Holly Arrow was hoping she was going to be the one to put Impact down and derail his momentum towards No Regards. She proved she was a force to be reckoned with, but it just wasn’t meant to be. Impact walks away with another victory.
(Kass drops Impact’s arm and Impact eyes go down to Holly, who is starting to move after being taken out by Impact. He looks over to Kass and nods his head. Seconds later, Kass has a handful of Holly’s hair and drags her back to her feet.)
Deadprez: WHAT IS GOING ON HERE? THERE IS NO NEED FOR THIS! IMPACT HAS ALREADY BEATEN HOLLY! NO NEED TO ADD INSULT TO INJURY!
Gavin Kirkland: I think this is going to be a continuous thing as long as these two are together. Step up to either Kass or Impact and you better be best prepared to get a beatdown after the match.
Eve: Are we about to witness Holly become the next victim of an attack from Impact and Kassidy Heart? WAIT A SECOND! LOOK AT THE ENTRANCE RAMP!
(The crowd goes absolutely crazy with cheers as they watch Jack Ripley and Alex Myers run down the entrance ramp before sliding into the ring.)
Deadprez: HERE COMES THE CAVALRY! JACK RIPLEY AND ALEX MYERS ARE IN THE RING! RIPLEY CLOBBERS IMPACT IN THE BACK OF THE HEAD! ALEX GOES FOR KASSIDY HEART AND KASS THROWS HOLLY INTO ALEX AND ROLLS OUT OF THE RING. NO CONTACT MADE!
Gavin Kirkland: Jack Ripley was delivering boots to Impact but he managed to roll himself out of the ring to prevent any further damage. Impact still has a stronghold on the Answers World Championship belt as they head up the ramp.
(Impact and Kass have recovered from the small onslaught they experienced and they are glaring at Jack and Alex as they begin to head up the ramp. Jack and Alex have smirks on their faces knowing that they had Impact and Kass scrambling.)
Deadprez: I don’t know about anybody else, but I can’t wait to be at ringside when these four competitors finally fight it out officially as they beat the snot out of each other in Sydney. As for tonight, we are almost out of time. I would like to thank everyone who once again tuned into Saturday Night Showdown. (The final shot shows Impact and Kassidy walking up the ramp as Impact holds the Answers World Championship in the air before cutting back to Jack and Alex, who are yelling at Kass and Impact and telling them that Impact’s days of being Answers World Champion are numbered as the shot fades to black.)
