(EAW intro plays)
(Showdown opens up with a recap of the show from last week. It starts off with the Jaded Hearts calling out Alana Starr about what they are going to do at The Last Stand, and Alana finally tells them they are going to defend their championships against two other teams at the Temple of Trials Match, leaving the Jaded Hearts shocked. Harper Lee defeats Auburn Ware by countout after Miku interference. Ruler has an interview with Kyra Phillips, where he explains what he did last week and how he plans to change the world in one way or another, even if he had to attack Ryan and Cody to do that, but out of nowhere, Ryan attacks Ruler before being split apart by security, as Alana comes and tells them that they will fight at the Last Stand in a New York Street Fight. Luis de la Rosa defeats Anna May. Nikki Kimura and Silas Mason have a small talk where Nikki promises she will win tonight, while Miku enters Kennedy’s office and demands her to tell her the special opportunity she has, but Kennedy stays silent, instead telling her that she will face Auburn Ware at The Last Stand and she should focus on that. Roberto de la Rosa defeats Nikki Kimura after La Familia interferance. Jon Kelton comes out, talking about his season and about how he still wants the world championship when out of nowhere, Bronson comes out. Bronson comes out and explains that he came here to Showdown to write a new chapter and that he wants to do that with Kelton, that the two of them suffered and lost and they have the chance to succeed… together. Kelton thinks about it before finally, he accepts. Milli Banks comes out, bragging and promising to beat Miku tonight, as well as calling out KASAI. Milli Banks then defeats Miku Sakai. TLA arrives at Kennedy’s office, talking about him taking this break this next Marquee Event, before Charlie interrupts them, demanding his opportunity for winning Brand Warfare. And there, Kennedy announces an opportunity for the two, as TLA and Charlie will team together and fight the Jaded Hearts at The Last Stand. TLA is down, Charlie less. Veena comes out once more, calling for a challenger before she is interrupted by Cody Maverick, the two go on a small back and forth before Veena accepts Cody’s challenge. And finally, in the main event, Bronson Daniels defeats SOSA Henderson, SOSA attacks Bronson after the match but Jon Kelton arrives to help him and spear SOSA. Finally, Alana comes out after seeing that and announces that the last team to face the Jaded Hearts in the Temple of Trials will be Bronson and Kelton!)
(The recap ends, and it is replaced with the song “Brick Wall” by a Day to Remember, as the camera pans around the inside of the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Fireworks are shooting out of the stage and the whole crowd can be seen cheering and being excited for the show. The camera ends up panning over to the commentary table with Deadprez, Eve and Gavin Kirkland as the commentators start talking.)
Eve: WELCOME EVERYONE… TO SATURDAY NIGHT SHOWDOWN!
Deadprez: We are getting closer and closer to The Last Stampede! And tonight, we have some exciting news to look forward to as well as various other matches! We see Ryan Wilson go up against Raeangel Guzmán, as well as the newly formed tag team of Elysium, Bronson Daniels and Jon Kelton, go up against Roberto and Luis de la Rosa!
Eve: We also see Mr. CITV go up against Ruler and in the main event, can they co-exist?! Veena Adams and Cody Maverick team up against the Answers World Champion TLA and Charlie Marr!
Gavin Kirkland: LET’S NOT WAIT ANY LONGER! LET’S OPEN UP THE SHOW!
(Saturday Night Showdown transitions from the commentary desk toward the stage as the fans are met by the sounds of ‘Mr Rager’ by Kid Cudi which then begins to play up. They erupt into thunderous cheers as the camera goes over to show Bronson Daniels and Jon Kelton as they both begin to make their way out from the backstage area. Elysium stands united side-by-side as the crowd is absolutely eating them up, and they’re absolutely loving the reception that they’re getting. It’s not long before they begin to make their way down the ramp and to the ring.)
Gina Romano: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome… BRONSON DANIELS AND JON KELTON!!!!!!!!!! ELYSIUM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Deadprez: Last week we saw an interesting turn of events. Bronson Daniels had come out to the ring while Jon Kelton was speaking and pitched the idea of forming a team with him. Stating the goal of leaving no stone unturned and reaching what they called Elysium. Kelton accepted, with both having Unified Tag Team Championship aspirations out of the gate, but that didn’t seem to be all for the team that night.
Eve: It was confirmed by Alana Starr to end the show that both of them would be participating in the Temple of Trials match against The Jaded Hearts and the team of TLA and Charlie Marr. It’s certainly interesting, and one hell of a test for the team to see how well they fare. If they manage to win that match, I can only imagine the bargaining chips that they have going forward. They’ll most definitely get one step closer to the Tag Titles.
Gavin Kirkland: Hey, me personally, Elysium is a well-oiled machine. It seems like they both know what they want. It’s like, how do I describe this… a better Devolution.
Deadprez: I don’t think that’s a comparison that you want to make.
Gavin Kirkland: All Bronson needs to do now is win Empress of Elite.
Deadprez: No no I don’t think he needs to-
(Both members of Elysium make their way into the ring as they head over and take microphones from the ringside area. Then, from there, ‘Mr Rager’ begins to come to a close. It’s not long before both begin to make their way toward the center of the ring and then, from there, begin to speak toward the excited crowd.)
Jon Kelton: When Bronson first came to be pitching the idea to be a team, I’ll admit that I was taken aback. This was a man who just got off winning one of the biggest matches that Territorial Invasion had to offer a couple of weeks back, he had no reason to be looking toward the likes of me in his endeavor. But I knew how much he wanted this, I knew how much the concept of Elysium meant to him. And while as accomplished a competitor as he is, I know one feat has managed to pass him by and that is winning the Unified Tag Team Championships. The same can be said for me. I can’t look back on my career with any sort of regrets, knowing what I’ve managed to accomplish in the time that I have. But with all these endeavors, standing side-by-side with a who’s who of Elitists in the past, I’ll admit that it does eat me up a little inside knowing that we’ve never been able to stand on the very peak of tag team wrestling in this company. I’m glad now that I’ll be able to reprimand that.
Bronson Daniels: Not many can say that they’ve become a Grand Slam Champion in this company. Many marvel at the idea and some of the greats, Hall of Famers, don’t even have that distinguished honor because it eluded them one way or another. With all that I have done winning those titles would mean that I am on the cusp of history as we know it. It’s an exciting thought in my mind, which is why to the people who think Elysium is going to fail, you’d be dead wrong. We’re formed off the idea of greatness, and we’re going to make sure that we take everything and leave nothing behind. We’re fighting for far too much, and the difference between ourselves and other teams in this company is the fact that we are the very best that this brand has to offer in terms of competition. We’re not just coming together to form a team, we’re coming together to form a perfect unit.
Jon Kelton: We’re going to show that later tonight, but it seems like we’re getting a little too ahead of ourselves. Let’s talk about what we already know. As Showdown ended last week, Elysium was picked to compete in the Temple of Trials match. Our competition would be everything that we wanted it to be if you want me to be honest, the Unified Tag Team Champions The Jaded Hearts, and the Answers World Champion TLA and Charlie Marr. I know what this match is all about, and so does TLA. The history that we both have in the Temple of Trials match immediately puts us ahead of the curve. title or no title match, this is a hugely important moment for both of us and we know it.
Bronson Daniels: Not just as a team, but respectively as well. It’s been well documented when it comes to my feelings of last Season, and what transpired really left a void inside of me knowing that I failed. I’ll admit that I haven’t been in the best of moods, but with everything that’s happened these past couple of weeks, I’ll admit that it’s turned around. I have had to climb back after what happened then and have a brother like Kelton who held out his hand for me and helped me back up to my feet, the only thing I can truly do to return the favor is help him win those titles at The Last Stand. We’re going to enter that monstrosity and plant our flag. Nobody is going to be able to take that away from us.
(Bronson and Kelton have fierce looks of determination on their face, but before they can go any further… they’re interrupted by the sounds of ‘True Love’ by CFO$ which then begin to play up. The crowd begins to boo loudly as the camera goes away from the ring to show The Jaded Hearts as they make their way out to the stage. The Unified Tag Team Champions are here as both Kassidy Heart and Sienna Jade bear their titles over their shoulders, clearly skeptical about what they’re hearing right now inside of the ring. It’s not long before they then begin to make their way down the ramp.)
Deadprez: Well this is certainly an interesting turn of events, with The Jaded Hearts making their presence felt here tonight. Elysium has made it known that they’re gunning for the target on their back and has full intentions of making sure that they walk out of The Last Stand with the Unified Tag Team Championships. But what they need to understand though is that this is not just any tag team, this is pound-for-pound the greatest tag team that EAW has ever seen.
Gavin Kirkland: You can say that again! 😍
Eve: But is this a task Bronson and Kelton are up for? They’re not just any team, facing The Jaded Hearts they might end up being one of their toughest challenges. But that’s not to say that the team of TLA and Charlie Marr might pull through either. This is a match full of combustible elements, but what we can say right now is that Kassidy and Sienna are making their way to the ring and they seem to have some thoughts.
(Kassidy and Sienna both make their way into the ring as they scoff at both members of Elysium while they do so. They take microphones for one another as the sounds of ‘True Love’ then begin to come to a close from there. Then, approaching them, they begin to speak.)
Kassidy Heart: This is quite an amusing sight. Two perennial underachievers banded together to try and take us down. Where have I heard this before, Sienna? :mjlol:
Sienna Jade: Same sad story every single time, it’s unfortunate seeing the state of the tag team division right now. I guess when you’re as great as you are, it just so happens that you dominate the competition to a point where there ends up being none. They seem so eager to be the ones though, just like… everyone else before them. While it’s cute to see the two of you team together, I think we both know how this is going to go.
Kassidy Heart: Contrary to belief there is nothing “different” about you and the rest of the teams that we’ve faced. You want to try so hard to manufacture a worthless argument that you’ve done enough alone to prove yourselves, but that’s only half of the story. See, Sienna and I both have Hall of Fame careers respectively, but that’s not all, because The Jaded Hearts as a whole is a Hall of Fame team in itself. We’ve earned our stripes, and we’ve become something greater, so let me ask the two of you a simple question… What the fuck makes you think you’re going to come even close to our titles?
Sienna Jade: This made-up team is pretty pathetic, and if there is anyone who is going to take away our titles, it’s certainly not them. We’re going to walk away from the Temple of Trials match STILL the Champions and Bronson is going to have lowered his standards to team with Kelton for absolutely no reason. Then all of a sudden, whoosh, back to the drawing board.
Bronson Daniels: The two of you have always been confident in your resolve, and that’s something that I can absolutely respect. You’re right, what makes us think that we can stand toe-to-toe against both of you and trey to take your titles away? I have an answer because it’s not just word of mouth when it comes to both of us. You can try as you may, but we’re not like British Invasion or NICHOLISM or Fire & Ice, we’re not going to try and sell you something without being outright confident in our willingness to do it. We know that we can beat you, and given that we have the opportunity right in front of us, having our team formed and immediately being ousted into this situation, I think the two of you are scared that you don’t know what to expect when it comes to the both of us.
Kassidy Heart: :mjlol2: Scared? Are you fucking serious right now? You must have one hell of a death wish if you think that this is going to be your fairytale ending. You’re as nauseating and incoherent as every other team that we’ve faced, and you’re stupid to think that we even have a slight form of doubt in our abilities as a team when we know that we’re fucking perfect. Say what you want, it doesn’t change anything, and while Elysium might be “good”, they’ll realize that they’re not good enough and that the pecking order around here has been long established and that’s that we’re on top, no other contenders.
Jon Kelton: But that was before we came around. Everything that you’re saying right now happened before Elysium formed. We’re coming in with a fresh pair of eyes on the tag team, division, and given that I know the Temple of Trials match like the back of my hand, we’ve come prepared. You can try and dodge it all you want, but we know exactly what we’re capable of as a tag team, and we don’t have a choice but to take away those titles from you.
Sienna Jade: Ugh, you’re experienced? Good job, is that really the argument that you’re going to hang on to? More importantly, you don’t have a choice. This is really not worth our time right now, and it’s genuinely unfortunate what little you end up bringing to the table in the grand scheme of things. We’re going to break your hearts at The Last Stand, and after that, I hope that we never see you again.
Bronson Daniels: Trust me, this’ll only be the beginning.
Jon Kelton: This won’t be the last that you see of us.
(Suddenly, Elysium drops their microphones down onto the ground.)
Deadprez: OH! AND HERE WE GO! ELYSIUM LAUNCHED THEMSELVES AT THE UNIFIED TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS AS A BRAWL STARTED BETWEEN THE TWO TEAMS! THEY’RE THROWING LEFTS AND RIGHTS AT EACH OTHER!
Eve: KASSIDY AND SIENNA ARE TAKEN ABACK BY THIS AS THEY’RE TRYING TO FIGHT OFF THE STORM, BUT BRONSON AND KELTON HAVE THEM AGAINST THE ROPES! SIENNA TRIES TO RUSH TOWARD KELTON, BUT KELTON CONNECTS WITH A BOOT TO THE FACE THAT SENDS HER BACKWARD BEFORE HE CONNECTS WITH A CLOTHESLINE THAT SENDS HER OVER AND OUT OF THE RING!
Gavin Kirkland: MEANWHILE KASSIDY IS TRYING TO TEAR INTO BRONSON RIGHT NOW, BUT KELTON IS QUICK TO JOIN IN AS HE SHOVES HER OFF OF HIM! KASSIDY LEAPS FORWARD, BUT BRONSON CONNECTS WITH A SUPERKICK TO THE JAW OF THE HALL OF FAMER! THEN… THEY BOTH SEND HER OUT OF THE RING AS WELL WITH A DOUBLE CLOTHESLINE! ELYSIUM STANDS TALL!
(Elysium looks at one another, clearly satisfied with their work here tonight, as The Jaded Hearts are absolutely furious outside of the ring. Kassidy lunges forward but Sienna is holding her back, with both of them backpedaling up the ramp and toward the backstage area. It’s the last shot seen before Saturday Night Showdown then begins to fade to the first commercial break.)
(The camera pans down to ringside after the commercial break for the first match of the night.)
Gina Romano: THE FOLLOWING IS THE OPENING CONTEST AND IT IS SCHEDULED FOR ONE FALL…
Crowd: ONE FALL!
(“Tear Away” by Drowning Pool plays throughout the arena and out comes Raeangel Guzman, accompanied by La Familia! They pat her on the back showing their support, however Raeangel would surprisingly be alone to walk down the ramp and make her entrance.)
Gina Romano: Introducing first… She is “El Oxígeno” RAEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEANGEL GUUUUUUUUZZZZZZZZZZZZZMAN!!!!!!!!
(Olé’ by The Bouncing Souls hits the speakers. Ryan Joseph Wilson strides out, spinning his fist before thrusting it into the air, the crowd loudly singing along to his theme.)
Gina Romano: INTRODUCING HIS OPPONENT!… FROM MONTRÉAL, QUÉBEC, CANADA!… WEIGHING IN AT 225 POUNDS!… THE WORKHORSE!… RYAN!… JOSEPH!… WILSONNNNNNN!
Eve: Before this match begins, we are joined by Ruler who is here to observe this match up. I’m glad to have you here, Ruler.
Ruler: Let’s skip pleasantries, you know why I am here and you would be better off letting me focus.
Eve: …Alright then, well I am sure this match is going to be interesting and- what the hell?
( Druids start coming out from the timekeeper’s nest and surrounding the ring, Ryan seemed to be startled by them the most while Raeangel looked on in confusion. Ryan taking his eyes off his opponents and looking on at the mysterious figures. )
(DING! DING! DING!)
Gavin Kirkland: RAEANGEL STARTS REIGN DOWN ON RYAN WITH PUNCHES! WATCH AS THEY REIGN IN, SHE AIN’T GIVING RYAN A CHANCE TO BREATHE, THAT GIRL IS BEING VICIOUS! Ryan needs to keep his eyes on the ball and off the Druids at ring side.
Ruler: Too distracted for his own good.
Eve: Raeangel is finally thrown off Ryan, as Ryan could no longer consume the constant punches reigning down on him, over and over again… Raeangel slowly sets herself up as she sees Ryan responding by getting to his feet, AND SHE GOES TO NAIL A SUPERKICK TO RYAN IN THE EARLY GOING– BUT INTERCEPTED, RYAN CATCHES THE BOOT AND GETS HER STUCK AND CAUGHT IN HER TRACKS, RAEANGEL IS TRYING TO WEASEL HER WAY OUT, BUT RYAN SPINS RAEANGEL AROUND AND NAILS HER WITH A CLOTHESLINE! Ryan is going to pick up Raeangel- WHAT THE HELL! SHE IS BITING THE HELL OUT OF RYAN’S FINGERS! LISTEN TO RYAN SCREAM IN PAIN, AS HIS FINGERS ARE BEING SKINNED TO THE BONE BY RAEANGEL! GUZMAN ISN’T LETTING UP. YOU CAN JUST HEAR THE SCREAMS OF DISCOMFORT, AS THE REFEREE IS SHOUTING AT GUZMAN TO LET GO! RAEANGEL FINALLY DOES LET GO— BUT WAIT A SECOND, SHE DRILLS RYAN TO THE MAT WITH A DDT! AND FOR THE COVER!
ONE!
…
TWO!!
…
Deadprez: OH! RYAN KICKS OUT BEFORE THE COUNT OF THREE! BUT WHAT A PLAY BY RAEANGEL GUZMAN HERE. Raeangel isn’t playing around here, as she gets the momentum going in her favor. Raeangel was just vicious and brutal there, the only way of doing what she saw necessary was to attack the joints of Ryan and soften him up for a bigger blow, but now Ryan Wilson is in a bad situation, a quite truly hungry Raeangel is circling him around the ring, and he finds herself stuck in the corner, slowly rising up to his feet…
Gavin Kirkland: Ryan Wilson is stuck in that corner, and he has a hungry, hungry, HUNGRY Raeangel licking her lips as she watches Ryan rise up to his feet, and as Wilson gets up there, Raeangel charges at her, LOOKING TO STAMP A BIG COLLISION IN THE CORNER AND FURTHER APPLY THE PAIN TO RYAN WILSON- BUT RYAN MOVES OUTTA THE WAY IN THE KNICK OF TIME, AS RAEANGEL COLLIDES WITH ALL HER MOMENTUM AGAINST THE TURNBUCKLE! THIS IS A HUGE BREAK FOR RYAN WILSON, AS IT OVERALL STUNS GUZMAN…
Eve: She is quite out of loop as she comes back out from the corner, and Ryan Wilson finds that timing perfectly as he– SCALES TO THE SECOND TURNBUCKLE AND NAILS RAEANGEL WITH A TORNADO DDT! PLANTING HER ON THE MAT! WHAT A DDT THAT WAS! IT SEEMS AS IF RYAN WILSON AIN’T DONE HERE, AS SHE SINKS IN THE COVER!
ONE!
…
TWO!!
…
Gavin Kirkland: RAEANGEL BARELY GOT THE SHOULDER UP BEFORE THE COUNT OF THREE! Raeangel made a crucial mistake, and to almost every singular benefit of Ryan Wilson and you can see that Ryan captured that momentum in his favor, so now he wants things to swing exactly in his favor, he backs Raeangel up in the corner…and forces Raeangel to rise up, and she no other choice but to do so! Ryan has Raeangel up in the corner now, and trapped. This is how you win matches like this, you keep your opponent trapped in that corner, and you wear them down for the big moments. And that is what Ryan is doing… WITH A HUGE UPPERCUT TO RAEANGEL! AND ANOTHER HUGE UPPERCUT TO RAEANGEL! AND A THIRD! AND A FOURTH! RYAN IS DRILLING RAEANGEL WITH ALL THE UPPERCUTS IN THE WORLD! Ryan is giving Raeangel no chance of escape, and no chance to recover.. as he brings her to the middle of the ring.
Eve: After finding his chance in the ring, Ryan hadn’t given up on continuing to furthermore establish a boundary! Ryan brings Raeangel to the middle now, as she is– ALREADY LOOKING FOR THE FINISH HERE- BUT NO, RAEANGEL MANAGES TO FIGHT AND STAY OUT OF IT, AND SHE GETS RYAN WILSON INTO A BACKSLIDE ROLL UP! RYAN WASN’T EXPECTING IT, THIS MAY MIGHT STEAL IT!
ONE!

TWO!!
…
THR-
Deadprez: KICK OUT BY RYAN! Ryan quickly kicks out of it and he manages to pop back up to his feet, but Guzman is right there to meet him, and a forearm across the face! Ryan is dazed, and Raeangel comes in with another forearm! And then a third one! And a fourth! Ryan stumbles back into the corner as he has been overwhelmed from forearms by Raeangel Guzman, and Raeangel runs across the ring, BEFORE RUNNING BACK IN AT RYAN, BUT RYAN MOVES OUT OF THE WAY AND HE CAPTURES RAEANGEL, GOING FOR A ROLLUP OF HIS OWN! RYAN IS GOING TO STEAL IT RIGHT HERE!
Gavin Kirkland: RAEANGEL WITH THE KICK OUT! Raeangel kicks out and both competitors get back up to their feet once more but here comes Ryan Wilson, SUPERKICK! THE SUPERKICK CONNECTS BUT RAEANGEL GUZMAN IS STILL ON HER FEET, BUT RYAN ISN’T GOING TO LET THAT HAPPEN AS HE SHOOTS FORWARD WITH ANOTHER SUPERKICK! GUZMAN FALLS BACK INTO THE ROPES IN AGONY- BUT LOOK! RAEANGEL JUST REBOUNDED OFF OF THE ROPES! RAEANGEL REBOUNDS OFF THE ROPES! REBOUND LARIAT CONNECTS! IT CONNECTS!
Eve: THE REBOUND LARIAT JUST TURNED RYAN WILSON INSIDE OUT! Ryan goes down, but I don’t think Raeangel is done just yet, she wants to put an end to this match once and for all, as she makes her way to the corner! Ryan was laid out cold and Raeangel knew exactly what she needed to do! She climbed up to the top rope and she was poised to strike! RAEANGEL GUZMAN SHOOTS OFF THE ROPES AND SHE HITS IT! THE FROG SPLASH- RYAN MOVED OUT OF THE WAY! HE MOVES OUT OF THE WAY! RAEANGEL CRASHES AND BURNS INTO THE MAT AND RYAN CAN TAKE ADVANTAGE HERE!
Gavin Kirkland: Ryan rolls out onto the apron as he gets up to his feet, and he’s calling for Raeangel Guzman to get back up to her feet! He’s calling for Raeangel to get up! Guzman starts to slowly get back up… AND RYAN WILSON SLINGSHOTS HERSELF INTO THE RING FOR THE SLINGSHOT SPEAR- CAUGHT! CAUGHT! RAEANGEL CATCHES RYAN WITH A HUGE KNEE STRIKE AND RYAN CRUMBLES RIGHT BACK DOWN INTO THE MAT! Raeangel stumbles back as Ryan tries to get back up to his feet and he looks to get back into this, pushing forward at Raeangel…BUT GUZMAN CATCHES HIM AND LIFTS HIM INTO THE AIR!
Eve: RYAN WILSON GETS PLANTED ONTO HIS HEAD AND RAEANGEL ROLLS OVER, HOOKING THE LEG AND SEIZING HER MOMENT FOR VICTORY, AS THE REFEREE JUMPS DOWN AND INTO THE COUNT!
ONE!

…
Deadprez: BUT RYAN KICKS OUT AND HE STAYS ALIVE! HE STAYS ALIVE! RYAN MANAGES TO KEEP THIS MATCH GOING! Raeangel is going to drag Ryan over to the center of the ring, bringing him up to his feet as she brings Ryan onto her shoulders! SHE PUSHES RYAN OFF AND INTO THE KNEE STRIKE TO THE BACK OF THE HEAD- BUT AS RAEANGEL SEND RYAN UP, RYAN FLIPS OUT OF IT AND LANDS ONTO HIS FEET! Ryan lands on his feet, before turning and twisting around, lifting off the air and taking Raeangel Guzman out with a massive enziguri kick, and that enziguri hit the mark!
Gavin Kirkland: Raeangel is still on her feet, but she won’t be for long, AS NOW IT IS RYAN WHO LIFTS RAEANGEL GUZMAN UP ONTO HIS SHOULDERS! RYAN GETS RAEANGEL INTO THE SAME POSITION HE WAS JUST IN, AND THROWS HER OFF INTO THE INVERTED USHIGOROSHI! IT HITS WITH FORCE BEHIND IT! RAEANGEL’S FACE JUST CRASHES INTO RYAN’S KNEE CAP, AND RYAN ROLLS HER OVER AND HOOKS THE LEG! THIS IS IT!

Eve: KICK OUT BY GUZMAN! KICK OUT BY GUZMAN! RAEANGEL GETS THE SHOULDER OFF OF THE MAT AT THE COUNT OF TWO AND SHE STAYS ALIVE! RYAN IS PISSED OFF RIGHT NOW, AND I CAN’T BLAME HIM! But he needs to keep his composure! Ryan gets back up to his feet as he backs into the corner, and it looks like he is calling Raeangel back up to her feet, looking to finish this match once and for all! Raeangel starts to slowly get back up, and she turns around… AND RYAN ROLLS THROUGH BEFORE POPPING TO HIS FEET FOR THE ROLLING THUNDER CUTTER! TAKING OUT GUZMAN AND GOING FOR THE COVER!

Eve: ANOTHER KICK OUT BY RAEANGEL! Ryan is throwing everything he can at Raeangel but Raeangel is just too stubborned to stay down! But that hasn’t stopped Ryan before. Ryan climbs the top rope, looking down at Raeangel— LEAPING OFF THE TOP ROPE LOOKING FOR A FROG SPLASH OF HIS OWN! RAEANGEL GETS TO HER KNEES UP! RYAN ROLLING ON THE GROUND IN PAIN! Raeangel is a shark that smells of blood in the water! Getting back to her feet, keeping her eyes locked on Ryan! This is bad, Raeangel getting into the corner looking for something big…RYAN GETTING UP! HE MIGHT WANT TO STAY DOWN!
Deadprez: GOING FOR THE CORNER FOREARM! RAEANGEL HITS THE— WAIT SHE MISSES! SIDESTEPPING OUT OF THE WAY! RYAN GRABS RAEANGEL— LIFTING HER UP FOR THE “LA BOMBE BLEU”! THE BLUE THUNDER BOMB! RAEANGEL LOOKED STUNNED! SHE DOESN’T KNOW WHERE IS AT! RYAN PICKS RAEANGEL UP AND GETS HER UP IN POSITION FOR THE “MIC DROP”— HE HITS IT! GOING FOR THE PIN!

Gavin Kirkland: RAEANGEL KICKS OUT! RAEANGEL SOMEHOW MANAGING TO KICK OUT! If she were a second late, she would have lost this huge match! You can see Ryan now contemplating, hitting such a big move expecting Raeangel to go down! She might be tougher than he realizes. He can continue to contemplate but the only way he is going to win this match is by continuing to fight! He goes back over to Raeangel- BUT RAEANGEL MANAGING TO PUSH RYAN ON HIS BACK! Using leverage, putting her leg behind the knee, now his shoulders are on the mat!
ONE!
…
Eve: KICKOUT! He lifted that one shoulder off the mat, but again, Raeangel was forcing his shoulder back to the mat!
ONE!

Gavin Kirkland: ANOTHER KICKOUT! Ryan refuses to be overpowered! A kip up by Ryan! He continues to test his strength against Raeangel- BUT RAEANGEL DROPS TO HER BACK AND HITS RYAN WITH A MONKEY FLIP! Hands still locked! Ryan goes in for a pin! Can he steal it?
ONE!
…
Eve: Getting that arm up again! Raeangel has been trying to get him to submit, but Ryan denies her. Once again, Ryan gets back up with a kip-up! Trying to hit Raeangel with a double-hand “Northern Lights” suplex, but Raeangel denies it! Wilson doesn’t seem to care about going for a monkey flip of his own! Unfortunately, he could not get it- BUT HE MANAGES TO LEAP INTO A HURRICANRANA! Breaking the knock lock, running to the ropes, and flipping off the back of Raeangel! Guzman goes for a chop, but Ryan quickly blocks it!
Deadprez: Ryan Wilson goes for a punch but Raeangel ducks it, almost clipping the referee! Wilson pausing right in time before attacking the- OH DEAR! Raeangel dropkicks Ryan into the official sending him to the outside! Raeangel got the upper hand, BOUNCING OFF THE CORNER WITH THE “ESTÁS FUERA” KICK TO RYAN TAKING HIM OUT! The crowd showing their disapproval, as it looks like Guzman is about to steal this match once again by dirty means! She is calling for Ryan to get up-
Gavin Kirkland: WAIT A MINUTE! WHO’S THAT COMING OUT OF THE CROWD?! IS THAT A FAN?! NO- IT’S NIKKI KIMURA WITH “THE KAMIGOYE”! THE KNEE STRIKE TAKING DOWN RAEANGEL! GETTING REVENGE FOR THE COUNTLESS MATCHES SHE HAS COSTED HER! Kimura quickly slipped out of the ring, allowing for Ryan to stand up and gain the advantage. Wilson marched over to Raeangel and picked her up and quickly hit the “MIC DROP” FOR GOOD MEASURE! THE OFFICIAL SLIDING BACK INTO THE RING! COUNTING THE PIN!

THREE!!!
(DING! DING! DING!)
Gina Romano: HERE IS YOUR WINNER…RYAN JOSEPH WILSON!
Eve: Just like that karma has just come back to Raeangel! Karma’s name is Nikki Kimura! After all the kind games, Kimura gets the last laugh tonight and Ryan gets his hand raised.
( Raeangel began to wake up and realize what had happened, she slams her hand on the mat and rolls out of the ring! Angered by the result, she marches up the ramp, still a little dazed by Ryan’s finisher!)
Gavin Kirkman: Raeangel looks pissed off by the result and rightfully so, Ryan however seems a little cautious than excited right now. He might be thinking more about the Ruler and the Druids at ring- WAIT A SECOND! The Druids are coming in all at once and attacking Ryan!
Deadprez: All four beating down a weakened Ryan! This is uncalled for and a bit disturbing let that man have some peace he just got out of a match!
Eve: It seems like Ruler is taken by amusement in it, standing in front of the announcement table to get a better view. Ryan can barely move, thankfully the Druids stopped looking over Ryan! Just a sickening display, just the absolute worst!
(The camera fades to a commercial break after the chaos.)
(The camera returns back to the ring where there is a table set up in the middle of the ring and Assistant General Manager Alana Starr is standing. Alana has a smile on her face and a microphone in her hand as she waits a second for the crowd to die down before she begins to speak.)
Alana Starr: Ladies and gentlemen, as you all know our next Showdown event, The Last Stand, is quickly approaching and there are already numerous matches that have already been signed for the event and I just can’t wait.
Alana Starr: That is including one match that was announced just last week by our General Manager Kennedy Street. It involves a rivalry that has been heating up on Showdown for quite some time and it is about to reach a fever pitch at this time and that is the Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match between Miku Sakai and Auburn Ware.
(The crowd cheers louder because they have been waiting to see a match between these two for quite a while and they will see it in a few weeks.)
Alana Starr: Right here and right now, we will be having a contract signing to make that match official at The Last Stand, so please allow me to welcome the first participant in this match. She is MIKU SAKAI!
(Seconds later, the sounds of “STFU!” by Rina Sawayama before being quickly followed by a loud negative reaction before Miku Sakai enters the arena and the look on her face says it all. She is VERY PISSED after what happened last week and she is picking fights with some of the fans as she heads to the ring.)
Deadprez: Well this is about what I was expecting Miku Sakai to be as she heads to the ring and saying that she is in a bad mood after last week is a huge understatement.
Gavin Kirkland: Yeah, the beautiful Miku Sakai was screwed out of her match last week and to follow that up, she thought she would be getting her EARNED title shot at The Last Stand and Kennedy Street said that was going to have to wait. SUCH A TRAVESTY!
Eve: Kennedy Street did say that Miku would be getting her title match at a later date, but first Miku is going to have to settle her matters with Auburn first before the title shot happens, so let’s see if Miku is able to control herself during this contract signing.
(Miku enters the ring and takes her seat at the table before grabbing the microphone as she passes by Alana.)
Alana Starr: Thank you for joining us, Miku.
(Miku just glares at Alana and flips her off as she still doesn’t say a word. Alana rolls her eyes and continues speaking.)
Alana Starr: We’re off to a good start. Anyways, now allow me to welcome Miku’s opponent in the TLC match at The Last Stand. She is one of the upstart rookies on Showdown. Please welcome AUBURN WARE!
(“Bad Blood” by Taylor Swift ft. Kendrick Lamar immediately starts playing and the crowd goes from negative for Miku to immensely positive for Auburn Ware, who just entered the arena. She has a big smile on her face as she heads to the ring while slapping hands of fans.)
Gavin Kirkland: There she is! She’s the one who ruined everything for Miku! Auburn is hot but Miku was on her way to a title match and a victory last week against Milli Banks, but Auburn RUINED EVERYTHING!
Eve: She was just doing what she felt was necessary after Miku was cheating. These two have been at each other’s throats for months and after Auburn cost Miku Divide and Conquer, these two have been wanting a fight ever since.
Deadprez: Well now they will get it at The Last Stand. It’s a fight they wanted and it’s a fight they will get, especially in a TLC match. Let’s see if they can both make it through this signing.
(Auburn finishes slapping hands with fans as she enters the ring. The smile on her face immediately disappears when she locks eyes with Miku. She doesn’t say a word as she takes her seat.)
Alana Starr: I would like to thank both of you ladies for joining me right now. At this time, the contract is on the table awaiting both of your signatures so your match at The Last Stand will be official. Before we sign the contract, would either of you like to say a few words.
Auburn Ware: I would like to say more than just a few words to the likes of Miku Sakai. Miku, you have been nothing more than a condescending pain in my ass for far too long and I can’t wait until The Last Stand where I can use tables, ladders, and chairs to royally kick your ass and get you out of my business and out of my life for good!
(The crowd cheers loudly at Auburn’s declaration as Miku just rolls her eyes as Auburn sits down.)
Alana Starr: Miku. Do you have anything to say?
(Miku gets an almost devilish smirk on her face as she picks up the microphone once again and finally decides to speak.)
Miku Sakai: Do I have something to say? You better fucking believe that I have something to say because even though I honestly can’t wait to beat the holy shit out of this tramp for costing me not just Divide and Conquer, but ALSO my match against Milli. I would love the chance to put that skank in her place.
Miku Sakai: But it could have waited because we both know that me winning is a forgone conclusion. I was supposed to be getting my title shot that I had EARNED, but NOOOOOO. I am stuck beating the shit out of this bitch. This is a fucking insult to me and it really pisses me off that my title shot is being used as a carrot and dangling it in front of my face. It’s bullshit.
Auburn Ware: Oh for the love of gawd, just shut the fuck up. I am so tired of hearing you bitch and complain. I have been fighting my ass off from the bottom and I am starting to make some progress in my career. But it will be different this time around. Because at The Last Stand, it’s going to be a Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match.
Miku Sakai: Well if you had as much success as I have had, you would get a little frustrated when a snot nose little shit costs you match after match. Bes—
Alana Starr: ALRIGHT THAT’S ENOUGH! NOW LET’S SIGN THIS CONTRACT! Auburn, you go first.
(Auburn stands up and opens the portfolio that holds the contract. She grabs the pen and signs the contract, her eyes never leaving Miku, before throwing the pen at Miku… which gets a reaction from the crowd.)
Auburn Ware: What I have done to you before is just a very small portion of what I am going to do to you at The Last Stand. I am done with you. I am sick of you. I am tired of you. The sooner I get you out of my business so I can get on with my career, the better.
(Miku picks up the pen and stands up as well as she glares at Auburn, before her expression completely changes and now she looks amused to the point of laughter.)
Miku Sakai: Look at you trying to look all tough and shit. It’s actually very amusing because I think you’re oblivious to the truth.
Auburn Ware: What truth is that?
Miku Sakai: You might have got the upperhand against me a few times when I was focusing on my matches and other business, but this time around, my attention is going to be all on you and I don’t think you have what it takes to beat me in a legitimate match. You’re biting off more than you can chew, bitch.
Auburn Ware: I was expecting that type of remark coming from you because you are so full of yourself, Miku, and you don’t have a fucking clue of what I can truly do in the ring. But as soon as you sign that contract, you are going to find out exactly what I am going to do to you at The Last Stand.
Miku Sakai: It’s your funeral, bitch. Don’t say that I didn’t warn you. You see, I am very pissed off that I don’t get my title match and I am going to take out each and every ounce of frustration out on YOU for getting in my business and ruining everything.
(Miku goes to sign the contract before she looks back up at Auburn and throws the pen at her and hits her in the face. Seconds later, Miku jumps over the table and starts attacking Auburn.)
Deadprez: AND HERE WE GO! ANOTHER CONTRACT SIGNING LEADS TO A BRAWL! MIKU WITH A CHEAP SHOT BEFORE ATTACKING AUBURN AND NOW THESE TWO ARE JUST BEATING THE HELL OUT OF EACH OTHER!
Gavin Kirkland: Once again, Auburn started it because she threw that pen first. Miku just returned the favor. I think that’s fair AND OH NO! AUBURN IS STARTING TO GET THE UPPER HAND ON MIKU SAKAI!
Eve: AUBURN HAS MIKU BY THE HAIR AND JUST PUNCHING THE HOLY SHIT OUT OF HER! I DON’T KNOW IF THESE TWO ARE GOING TO MAKE IT TO MADISON SQUARE GARDEN AT THIS RATE!
Deadprez: AUBURN HAS THE HALF NELSON APPLIED FOR THE “FAIRY TALE”, BUT MIKU CAUGHT AUBURN RIGHT IN THE FACE WITH A BACK ELBOW!
Gavin Kirkland: Now Miku is standing in a chair as she has Auburn set up AND MIKU IS SHOWING SOME POWER AS SHE LIFTS AUBURN UP AND JUMPS FROM THE CHAIR AND DRIVES AUBURN THROUGH THE TABLE WITH THE “STARFALL”!
Eve: OH MY GAWD! THAT VERTEBREAKER HAD AUBURN LANDING ON HER NECK AS SHE WENT THROUGH THE TABLE! Auburn is barely moving as Miku grabs the pen AND STARTS STABBING HER IN THE HEAD WITH THE PEN!
Deadprez: AUBURN WARE IS STARTING TO BLEED AFTER BEING STABBED SO MANY TIMES IN THE HEAD AND NOW SHE HAS PIECES OF THE TABLE AND SHE IS JUST GOUGING THEM INTO AUBURN’S FACE!
Gavin Kirkland: I’m not happy with what Auburn did to Miku, but that doesn’t mean I want to see her bleed. This is a little too much.
(The camera focuses on Miku as she continues to beat on Auburn as the camera gets a close up on her face.)
Eve: LOOK AT HER EYES! HOLY CRAP! THAT IS NOT HER NORMAL LOOK!
Deadprez: MIKU SAKAI HAS LOST IT, EVE! SOMETHING HAS SNAPPED IN THAT MIND OF HERS AND SHE’S GONE!
Gavin Kirkland: But she isn’t done. Miku has Auburn by the hair and we see that Auburn has the infamous crimson mask before she grabs Auburn around the head BEFORE FLIPPING BACK–
Deadprez: MIKU SAKAI WITH THE “DEATH NOTE” ASAI DDT DROPS AUBURN BACK INTO THE WRECKAGE! AUBURN HAS GOT TO BE UNCONSCIOUS RIGHT NOW AS MIKU KEEPS BEATING THE HELL OUT OF AUBURN! MIKU IS A DAMN NUT!!
(Seconds later, referees and security enter the ring and grab hold of Miku, who is trying to get free. Following the security comes the medical team to check on Auburn.)
Eve: Well it’s about damn time that they showed up! Where in the hell were they all? On a damn coffee break or something. Miku probably beat her half to death and they are doing who knows what?
Gavin Kirkland: That’s EAW security for you and I have seen Miku Sakai attack people, but not to this point. She has a screw loose…which is kinda hot.
Deadprez: As Miku is being dragged away from the ringside area, it’s safe to say that these two women are going to beat the hell out of each other even more than what we just witnessed. Miku Sakai. Auburn Ware. Tables, Ladders, and Chairs. What a match that will be. As for tonight, I just hope that Auburn will be alright.
(The final shot shows the medical team checking on an unconscious Auburn before cutting to a borderline psychotic Miku Sakai being dragged out of the arena while still scratching and clawing trying to get free as the camera cuts to an ad for House of Glass.)
(The camera cuts to Gina Romano in the ring.)
Gina Romano: The following contest is scheduled for one fall!
Crowd: ONE FALL!
Gina Romano: Currently in the ring from Bikini Bottom he is The Fishman!
(An overweight man wearing a grumpy looking fish mask of a character out of Spongebob Squarepants is shown in the ring.)
Eve: Who the hell is this? Does he even work here?
Deadprez: I have no idea but he doesn’t look in any kind of shape to be wrestling. Look at that beer belly!
Gavin Kirkland: We just be letting anybody in the ring these days.
The Fishman: (off-mic) Rev up those fryers because I am hungry… for wrestling!
Eve: :francis:
Deadprez: :francis:
Gavin Kirkland: :francis:
(“Faneto” by Chief Keef hits to cheers from the crowd.)
Gina Romano: And his opponent from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania weighing in at 191 pounds he is “BULLETPROOF” SOSAAAAAAAAAAAA HENDERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRSON!!!!!!!!!!!
(SOSA Henderson makes his way to the ring laughing at the level of “competition” he is expected to be facing this week.)
Eve: Here comes the 24/7 contract holder! It is only a matter of when and where he cashes in! We are looking at a future champion!
Gavin Kirkland: Unless he fails to cash in. Maybe we should make this fish guy the new contract holder instead. He might have a better chance.
(SOSA Henderson enters the ring as his opponent taunts him.)
The Fishman: (off-mic) Shouldn’t you be working that shift at the Krusty Krab lil bro? Fuck outta here with that wrestling shit and just put the fries in the bag.
SOSA Henderson: :francis:
Deadprez: Damn. This guy is just making it so much worse for himself…
(DING! DING! DING!)
Eve: We are underway as the Fishman appears to be attempting to convince SOSA Henderson to sing the FUN song from Spongebob. We have achieved a G rating out here folks. We gotta show this segment only to the sponsors…
The Fishman: (off-mic) F IS FOR FRIENDS WHO DO STUFF TOGETH-
Deadprez: But SOSA Henderson lays him out with a Running Clothesline! SOSA has had enough of this. His opponent falls and hits his head in the corner as SOSA follows it up with a running Double Knee Strike right to the face. SOSA then drags his opponent out into the ring and runs up to the top rope. SOSA off the top connects with a 450 Splash! SOSA to the cover! SOSA to win this thing in record time!
Referee: ONEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!
Referee: TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!
Referee: THRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR-
Eve: What the… the Fish guy kicked out?
Deadprez: Nah SOSA just pulled his shoulder up! He’s not done yet teaching this punk a lesson!
Gavin Kirkland: Stop SOSA! This is too far!
Eve: SOSA holds up his opponent against the ropes before running the ropes and knocking him back down with a Bicycle Kick. SOSA then runs the ropes again and hits Rolling Thunder as well! This match just turning into a demonstration of all SOSA’s greatest hits…
Deadprez: SOSA off the ropes with a Double Foot Stomp right into the gut of his opponent who is now seizing up and foaming at the mouth. Why did Kennedy Street let a random fan wrestle? We might not be able to show this to the sponsors after all…
Eve: SOSA runs the ropes and connects with the PAID IN FULL! Nah it has to be over now… SOSA with the cover!
Referee: ONEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!
Referee: TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!
Referee: THRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR-
Referee: EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
(DING! DING! DING!)
Gina Romano: Here is your winner… SOSA HENDERSONN!!!!
(“Faneto” by Chief Keef hits to cheers from the crowd as SOSA Henderson has his arm raised in victory.)
Eve: I don’t know if you can call that a big win or even a particularly impressive win. But it is a good reminder of the distance between an average man and SOSA Henderson’s ability. Bro out there looking like a superhero in comparison!
Gavin Kirkland: This was animal abuse to be honest. Fish don’t deserve to be treated this way…
Deadprez: Man shut the hell up with your corny ass. You step in the ring and you best be prepared to fight the very best. This is EAW not some high school gym indy federation. We are legit serious competition up in here!
(SOSA Henderson is shown requesting the microphone from Gina Romano who gives it to him as his music fades out.)
Eve: Looks like SOSA Henderson has got something to say…
SOSA Henderson: Iight listen up. You all just saw what I am capable of in this ring here tonight. That should be enough to convince any of you who are doubting after last week. That was nothing more than a fluke. I am the best of the best. On Showdown there is none better. I am the uncrowned champion. Bronson Daniels didn’t really beat me. That wasn’t a real win. It was a fluke and the next time we meet in this ring I will show him that personally! I am going to prove that up against Cy Henderson at House of Glass. Not only am I the big man here on Showdown. But I go to any brand around and show why I am not to be underestimated. I have been running this game for the longest and that is not about to stop now!
(SOSA Henderson makes a gesture around his waist with his hands.)
SOSA Henderson: What happened last week was a fluke… but what happens next won’t be! Because when I have gold around my waist again and cash in this 24/7 contract you won’t be talking about some fluke win by Bronson Daniels. Nah all you will be saying is SOSA why haven’t you been the champ all along? SOSA why did you keep us waiting when you could do all that? That’s gonna be the ONLY thing that matters because I will leave absolutely no doubt that I am… the best of the best!!!
(SOSA pauses as his fans cheer.)
Crowd: SOSA! SOSA! SOSA!
SOSA Henderson: Cy Henderson won’t have to wait to find that out tho. While everyone over here on Showdown gets to take it easy. I am going to be over at House of Glass hustling up against an all-time legend! This is a Fans Bring the Glass Weapons match so let me address all of you. My SOSAmaniacs. My Hendersons. Wait no that last one could apply to Cy too forget that forget that… What is important is that you all get up to some real diabolical type shit out there. I am expecting big things from you all. I am expecting great things from you all.
Crowd: SOSA! SOSA! SOSA!
SOSA Henderson: Nah don’t cheer me. Cheer yourselves. Because at House of Glass you all get to decide how I am going to end Cy Henderson’s legendary career. Bring the most dangerous evil glass shit you can find that you can think of. Cy is gonna get glassed! I am going to slice and dice that motherfucker until there’s nothing left and then I will come back to Showdown and you won’t be thinking about a fluke victory from last week. You will be thinking like you should be thinking. SOSA you really just are the best!
(“Faneto” by Chief Keef hits again to cheers from the crowd as SOSA tosses the mic out of the ring and rolls out to head backstage.)
Eve: Strong words from SOSA Henderson who clearly is on a mission to take over not only Showdown but House of Glass as well! Make sure you check that show out Showdown fans!
Deadprez: Facts support the entire EAW family .
Gavin Kirkland: Never. I am not a traitor. My loyalty is to Showdown.
Eve: Bea Valentine will be on the show.
Gavin Kirkland: Nah you know we need to all support each other here in EAW during these hard times.
Deadprez: :francis:
(The camera cuts to a commercial for Hurricane Milton cleanup efforts being led by EAW Hall of Famer Hurricane Hawk.)
(The camera cuts back to the ring where Gina Romano is standing with a microphone as she is ready to begin the introductions for the next match. )
Gina Romano: Ladies and gentlemen, this next contest is a TAG TEAM MATCH SCHEDULED FOR ONE FALL
Crowd: ONE FALL!
(“Mr. Rager” by Kid Cudi starts to play as the combination of Bronson Daniels and Jon Kelton enter the arena to cheers from the crowd. The newly formed team looks ready for action as they head to the ring.)
Gina Romano: Introducing first and making their way to the ring! At a total combined weight of 400 pounds! Here is the team of BRONSON DANIELS AND JON KELTON… ELYSIUM!
Deadprez: Here comes Elysium as they head to the ring for their debut match as an official team and I for one am excited to see what they bring.
Gavin Kirkland: This is exactly what happens when you have two serial choke artists on the same brand. They form a team and now they can become even bigger choke artists.
Eve: Oh shut up!! Kelton and Bronson really showed out at Territorial Invasion and they made an immediate impact last week as they tried to put down SOSA Henderson, but they also were selected to be part of the Temple of Trials match. Before then, this is their debut match as a team and their opposition isn’t one to take lightly.
(Bronson and Kelton enter the ring and take their corner. They begin getting ready for the match as their music is replaced by ‘Peligro’ by Peso Pluma. Seconds later, the arena fills with boos and negativity as La Familia enters the arena. The group looks to each other in their solidarity as the head to the ring.)
Gina Romano: Introducing their opponents! Representing and accompanied by La Familia! At a total combined weight of 395 pounds, here is the team of LUIS AND ROBERTO DE LA ROSA!
Gavin Kirkland: If you are looking at the best form of teamwork, it’s the power of brotherhood as Luis and Roberto De La Rosa head to the ring for tag team action and they are both riding high after last week.
Eve: Luis defeated Anna May last week as Roberto defeated Nikki Kimura. Both are looking to get another victory here in this match, but they better not get too cocky or that will be their ultimate downfall in a match like this.
Deadprez: Luis and Roberto are looking to get back into title contention and a victory here could certainly do that. Bronson and Jon are looking to establish themselves as a formidable tag team out of the gate. Which team will win? We are about to find out.
(Luis and Roberto enter the ring as Brianna and Raeangel take their place at ringside as La Familia’s music fades off. Seconds later, the referee is checking all four competitors before they call for the bell.)
(DING! DING! DING!)
Eve: Here we go! This tag team match is underway and it is going to be interesting to see how this match plays out considering the teaming dynamic is on completely different sides of the spectrum. It looks like it’s going to be Jon Kelton and Roberto De La Rosa starting things off.
Deadprez: La Familia have been a team for life while Elysium is making their official team debut in this match. Kelton and Roberto go to lock up in the center of the ring, but Roberto HITS A KNEE TO THE GUT TO DOUBLE KELTON OVER!
Gavin Kirkland: Having a few extra cards up your sleeve isn’t necessarily a bad thing when you lead a group like La Familia. But Roberto has the early advantage as he grabs Kelton by the arm AND TAKES HIM OVER WITH A JUDO STYLE THROW!
Deadprez: Kelton is down early off the cheap trick as Roberto goes to bring Kelton back to his feet, BUT KELTON SENDS HIS FOOT BACK AND KICKS ROBERTO IN THE HEAD TO SEND HIM BACK AS KELTON KIPS BACK UP TO HIS FEET!
Eve: Nice athleticism by Kelton as he grabs Roberto and whips him to the ropes. Roberto comes back AND KELTON GRABS HIM FOR THE SIDEWALK SLAM–
Gavin Kirkland: ROBERTO IS ABLE TO COUNTER WITH A MODIFIED HEADSCISSORS THAT TAKES KELTON UP AND OVER! Kelton gets back to his feet and ROBERTO GOES FOR A HIP TOSS–
Eve: KELTON LANDS ON HIS FEET! Kelton runs to the ropes AND JUMPS ONTO THE MIDDLE ROPE BEFORE COMING BACK AND TAKING ROBERTO DOWN WITH A SPRINGBOARD CLOTHESLINE!
Deadprez: Pretty even battle from both competitors early on as Kelton grabs Roberto by the head AND QUICKLY TAKES HIM OVER WITH THE SNAP SUPLEX AND FLOATS OVER FOR A COVER!
ONNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEE!
Gavin Kirkland: Roberto powers out at one. Yeah like a suplex is going to finish off a match. Get real, Kelton. You aren’t going to win pulling crap like that.
Eve: I think he knew that, Gavin. But Kelton does pull Roberto back to his feet and sends him into the corner before following up WITH A HUGE METEORA IN THE CORNER SENDING ROBERTO STAGGERING OUT–
(TAG!)
Deadprez: First tag of the match and we Bronson Daniels going to the top rope as Kelton has hold of Roberto in the Half Nelson AS BRONSON COMES OFF THE TOP ROPE WITH THE DIVING BLOCKBUSTER TAKING ROBERTO DOWN!
Gavin Kirkland: Ehhh beginner’s luck. This is just the beginning of the match and you just wait until La Familia really gets cooking.
Deadprez: Bronson is staying smart and not going for the cover after that nice double team move as Roberto is pulled back to his feet AND BRONSON STARTS THE KICKS TO THE SIDE AND RIBS OF ROBERTO!
Eve: Bronson is really getting those kicks in UNTIL ROBERTO CATCHES ONE OF THE KICKS! Bronson tried to counter with an enzuigiri, BUT ROBERTO DUCKED IT BEFORE GRABBING BRONSON’S WAIST AND COUNTERING WITH A GERMAN SUPLEX!
Gavin Kirkland: Now that’s what I’m talking about. All it takes is one move to get the momentum turning and now it’s going to be smooth sailing for La Familia.
Eve: Bronson was dropped on the back of his head as he tries to get back to his feet as Roberto hits the ropes AND CLOBBERS HIM WITH A CLOTHESLINE FROM HELL! HOLY CRAP!
Deadprez: There was a lot of power behind that clothesline as Roberto grabs hold of Bronson and drags him over to his corner where Luis is reaching for the tag–
(TAG!)
Gavin Kirkland: Luis is in the match and Persephone is probably screaming like the banshee that she is. Luis takes his turn to climb to the top rope as Roberto gets Bronson in the side position AND LUIS COMES OFF THE TOP ROPE!
Eve: FOOT STOMP INTO THE SIDEWALK SLAM! NICE COMBO BY LA FAMILIA! Bronson is down and Luis is going to pick the bones and go for the cover on Bronson!
ONNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEE!
TWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOO!
TH-
Deadprez: NEAR FALL BY LUIS! Luis takes advantage of the situation and mounts Bronson AND JUST STARTS PUNCHING HIM IN THE FACE! LEFTS AND RIGHTS AS BRONSON IS TRYING TO BLOCK AS MANY OF THE PUNCHES AS HE CAN!
Gavin Kirkland: But some of them are finding their mark and here comes the referee telling Luis to stop the punches before they start a count! THAT COUNT IS TOO FAST!
Deadprez: The count is fine, Gavin, but Luis does stop on four or else risk being disqualified on five. Luis does grab Bronson and SLAMS HIM BACK DOWN TO THE MAT! Luis is now standing next to Bronson for what looks to be a standing moonsault–
Eve: HE LOOKS INTO THE CAMERA AND BLOWS A KISS TO PERSEPHONE! OH GAWD! I’M GONNA BE SICK! But he finally attempts the standing moonsault AND BRONSON GOT THE KNEES UP!
Gavin Kirkland: WHAT? HOW IN THE WORLD DID THAT HAPPEN?
Eve: Well he was only attempting it for about a week and the advertisement was about as big as a billboard, so it is no surprise that it was well scouted and backfired. Bronson is getting back on his feet as well as Luis.
Deadprez: Bronson is the first to get back to his feet and he trying to build up some steam as he runs to the ropes, BUT RAEANGEL GUZMAN GRABS BRONSON’S ANKLE AND STOPS BRONSON RIGHT IN HIS TRACKS!
Gavin Kirkland: The members of La Familia always look out for each other through thick and thin. That’s what a Familia does as Bronson and Raeangel start arguing before Brianna Hill comes in AND JON KELTON STUCK HIS NOSE WHERE IT DIDN’T BELONG AND HE TAKES BOTH BRIANNA AND RAEANGEL DOWN WITH A CLOTHESLINE!
Eve: That’s exactly what they deserve when they try to interfere in a match, but the interference might have worked out anyways AS LUIS COMES UP FROM BEHIND THAT DELIVERS A DROPKICK THAT SENDS BRONSON BOUNCING INTO THE ROPES!
Deadprez: AND BRONSON STUMBLES BACK INTO A SCHOOLBOY ROLLUP! SHOULDERS ARE DOWN AND LUIS IS TRYING TO STEAL IT HERE… WITH A HANDFUL OF TIGHTS!
ONNNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEE!
TWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOO!
THHHHHHHHRRRRRRRR—
Gavin Kirkland: BRONSON WAS ABLE TO KICK OUT! How in the world did that happen? THAT WAS A SLOW COUNT!!
Deadprez: You have got to be joking with me, dawg! Either way, Bronson kicks out and this match continues. Bronson tries to get back to his feet AND LUIS CLOBBERS HIM WITH A CLOTHESLINE!
Eve: Bronson managed to hold onto the ropes to stay on his feet. He regains his balance and gets right in Luis’ face–
Gavin Kirkland: LUIS JUST SLAPPED BRONSON ACROSS THE FACE! OH THAT WAS AWESOME TO SEE! Look at how confident Luis is right now getting that shot on a former World Champion. THERE YOU GO, LUIS!
Eve: Luis finally turns around and he sees that Bronson is NOT amused. LUIS TRIES TO RUN TO HIS CORNER, BUT BRONSON GRABS HIM BY THE ARM AND PULLS HIM BACK IN AND DELIVERS THE “HIGH FIVE”!
Deadprez: Bronson just slapped Luis back and he didn’t even try to trick Luis. Bronson still has hold of Luis and whips him to the corner before BRONSON FOLLOWS UP WITH A LARIAT IN THE CORNER!
(TAG!)
Gavin Kirkland: Kelton was tagged back into the match as Bronson tosses Kelton into the corner AND HE DELIVERS A LARIAT AS WELL! Here comes Bronson once more WITH ANOTHER CORNER LARIAT before he leaves the ring.
Eve: Luis is still in the corner AND KELTON HITS HIM WITH ANOTHER CORNER LARIAT FOR GOOD MEASURE! Luis comes stumbling out of the corner as KELTON PICKS HIM UP AND DRIVES HIM INTO THE MAT WITH A SPINEBUSTER BEFORE HOOKING THE LEG!
ONNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEE!
TWWWWWWWOOOOOOOO!
THHHHHH–
Deadprez: LUIS POWERS OUT AT TWO! I give Luis credit for kicking out of that set of moves. But Luis is in a bad way right now as he is trying to crawl to his corner, BUT KELTON CATCHES HIM!
Gavin Kirkland: This isn’t good for Luis as Kelton grabs him around the waist and brings him back to his feet BEFORE KELTON ATTEMPTS THE GERMAN SUPLEX–
Deadprez: LUIS WAS ABLE TO ROLL BACK AND LAND ON HIS FEET AT THE VERY LAST SECOND AND STUMBLE BACK INTO HIS CORNER AND GET THE TAG FROM HIS BROTHER!
(TAG!)
Eve: Roberto is back into the match as he gets into the ring. Kelton turns around AND TRIES FOR A DOUBLE CLOTHESLINE, BUT THE BROTHERS DUCK OUT OF THE WAY! Kelton tries to quick recover–
Gavin Kirkland: BUT IT WASN’T FAST ENOUGH AS THE BROTHERS CATCH KELTON IN THE FACE WITH A DOUBLE SUPERKICK TAKING JON KELTON DOWN! I TOLD YOU THAT YOU CAN’T DOUBT THE POWER OF BROTHERHOOD!
Eve: Their abilities can’t be doubted. I can give them that much and it was in their favor this time as Roberto now has control of Kelton as he grabs Kelton by the head AND TAKES HIM UP AND OVER WITH A SUPLEX!
Deadprez: That’s not all. Roberto still has hold of Kelton and brings them both back to their feet AND HE LIFTS KELTON UP AND DROPS HIM WITH ANOTHER SUPLEX! But it doesn’t look like that’s all.
Gavin Kirkland: Well, duh, Prezzy. Roberto is going for the hat trick. Roberto swivels his hips one more time and now both men are back on their feet. Roberto still has the facelock applied as HE LIFTS KELTON ONCE AGAIN—
Eve: HE GOT IT! “THREE AMIGOS” CONNECTS! Roberto completes the hat trick as Kelton is down and Roberto drags Kelton over to the corner! Roberto is now climbing up to the top rope to hopefully hit a high impact move.
Deadprez: Roberto has his balance on the top rope as Kelton has not moved AND ROBERTO COMES OFF THE TOP WITH A PICTURE PERFECT FROG SPLASH ON JON KELTON! DIRECT HIT AS ROBERTO HOOKS THE LEG FOR THE COVER!
ONNNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEE!
TWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOO!
THHHHHHHHHRRRRREEEEEEEE!
Gavin Kirkland: WAS THAT THREE? OHHH I THOUGHT ROBERTO HAD IT THERE, BUT THE REFEREE’S COUNT WAS TOO DAMN SLOW! SUCH BIASED OFFICIATING!!
Deadprez: Don’t blame the referee because Kelton was able to kick out, dawg. But Roberto isn’t pleased that this match continues on, but Roberto grabs Kelton and whips him to the ropes–
(TAG!)
Eve: Blind tag by Bronson Daniels and Bronson climbs his way onto the top rope as Kelton lands behind Roberto after a back body drop attempt. Kelton has a waistlock applied AS BRONSON LEAPS HALFWAY ACROSS THE RING–
Gavin Kirkland: METEORA AND GERMAN SUPLEX COMBO! Alright, I’ll give them credit for that move as Roberto was dropped on the back of his head. Roberto rolls around–
Eve: AND BRONSON LEAVES HIS FEET AND HITS THE “FLYING BRONSONS”! BEAUTIFUL STANDING SHOOTING STAR PRESS BY BRONSON DANIELS AND BRONSON GOES FOR THE COVER!
ONNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEE!
Deadprez: BRIANNA HILL IS TRYING TO PUT ROBERTO’S FEET ON THE ROPE TO BREAK THE COUNT, BUT HERE COMES JON KELTON AND HE STOMPS ON BRIANNA’S HAND AND THAT BACKS HER UP!
TWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOO!
THHHHHHHHRRRRRREEEEEE!
Eve: LUIS COMES IN AND BREAKS UP THE COUNT AND KEEPS LA FAMILIA STILL IN THE MATCH! Honestly, this is a great show of tag team wrestling and these two teams are housed on Showdown!
Deadprez: Elysium with a great showing thus far in their official team debut and I believe that this match could still go either way as Bronson GIVES LUIS A RIGHT HAND BEFORE HE TRIES TO BRING LUIS INTO THE RING–
Gavin Kirkland: HERE COMES ROBERTO WITH A DOUBLE LEG TAKEDOWN INTO A BACKBREAKER TAKING BRONSON DOWN AS ROBERTO REACHES OUT FOR THE TAG!
(TAG!)
Deadprez: Luis has made his into the ring as he hits the ropes AND RUNS TOWARDS BRONSON, WHO IS BEING HELD UP BY ROBERTO BEFORE DELIVERING “WELCOME TO CANCUN”
Eve: WHEELBARROW FACEBREAKER CONNECTS AND BRONSON FELT ALL OF IT AS LUIS GOES FOR THE COVER! WHAT AN UPSET THIS WOULD BE!
ONNNNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEE!
TWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOO!
THHHHHHHHRRRRREEEEEEEE!
Deadprez: BRONSON KICKS OUT AT TWO! Luis realizes he would be in a huge mess of trouble and quickly runs back towards his corner–
(TAG!)
Gavin Kirkland: Roberto is back in the match and he heads right towards Bronson AND CATCHES HIM WITH A KNEE TO THE HEAD! Bronson drops to a knee and Roberto goes for a waistlock as HE GOES FOR A GERMAN SUPLEX–
Deadprez: BRONSON LANDS ON HIS FEET BEHIND ROBERTO! Roberto turned around by Bronson BEFORE HE IS PULLED IN AND FLIPPED BACK INTO A SPANISH FLY FROM BRONSON DANIELS!
Eve: Roberto is down for the moment as Bronson makes his way back to his feet as he also brings Roberto up to his feet AS BRONSON JUMPS ONTO ROBERTO’S SHOULDERS AND PLANTS HIM WITH A POISONRANA!
Gavin Kirkland: The momentum from the move sends Roberto back on his feet as Jon Kelton has made his way to the top rope and Bronson quickly runs over to make the tag!
(TAG!)
Eve: Kelton is back in the match as Roberto is still on his feet recovering from the Poisonrana AS KELTON JUMPS OFF THE TOP ROPE AND TAKES ROBERTO DOWN WITH THE CROSSBODY! SHOULDERS ARE DOWN!
ONNNNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEE!
TWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOO!
THHHHHHHHHRRRREEEEEEE!
Deadprez: BRIANNA HILL ONCE AGAIN INTERFERES AS SHE GRABBED KELTON’S LEG AND PULLS HIM OFF OF ROBERTO AND THAT GETS THE ATTENTION OF NOT JUST JON KELTON BUT ALSO BRONSON DANIELS ON THE APRON!
Eve: For the love of gawd, here we go again! But this time, BRIANNA JUMPS ON THE APRON AND GETS RIGHT IN KELTON’S FACE! NOW THESE TWO ARE ARGUING!
Gavin Kirkland: Once again, La Familia is out to protect their Familia. How hard of a concept is that for everybody to understand.
Deadprez: KELTON WITH A RIGHT HAND THAT KNOCKS HILL OFF THE APRON AS RAEANGEL TRIES TO RUN INTERFERENCE BUT SHE WAS KICKED AWAY BY BRONSON DANIELS–
Gavin Kirkland: AGAIN THE INTERFERENCE PAID OFF AS ROBERTO COMES UP FROM BEHIND AND DELIVERS A BACK ELBOW TO THE BACK OF KELTON’S HEAD BEFORE PULLING HIM BACK INTO A SAITO SUPLEX!
Eve: Kelton is down, but not for long as Roberto picks him up and whips him to the ropes. Kelton comes back AND ROBERTO TRIES FOR A CLOTHESLINE FROM HELL THAT KELTON AVOIDS!
Deadprez: Kelton rebounds off the ropes on the other side AND TRIES FOR “THE DEVIL MADE ME DO IT”, BUT ROBERTO GETS OUT OF THE WAY OF THE KNEE STRIKE! Kelton stops in his track as quick as he can before he turns around–
Eve: KELTON RUNS RIGHT INTO THE “TALÓN DE ÁGUILA” BY ROBERTO DE LA ROSA! ROBERTO GOT ALL OF THAT AND HE MIGHT HAVE TAKEN KELTON OUT OF HIS BOOTS AS HE GOES FOR THE COVER! THIS COULD BE IT!
ONNNNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEE!
TWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOO!
THHHHHHHHRRRRREEEEEEEE!
Gavin Kirkland: KELTON KICKS OUT AT TWO! ROBERTO IS NOT HAPPY THAT KELTON IS STILL IN THIS MATCH! Bronson is anxiously wanting Kelton to tag him in, but it might not happen as Roberto is back to his feet.
Eve: He grabs hold of Kelton and brings him to his feet and has him in the powerbomb position, but we know exactly what he is going for. HE IS LOOKING TO END THE MATCH RIGHT HERE!
Deadprez: ROBERTO IS SETTING UP FROM THE MOVE HE TOOK FROM TLA! ROBERTO HAS KELTON IN POSITION FOR THE “MEXICAN DESTROYER”! IF ROBERTO HITS IT, THIS MATCH IS OV–
(TAG!)
Gavin Kirkland: WHAT IN THE HELL IS THAT? LUIS JUST TAGGED HIMSELF IN! WHAT ARE YOU DOING LUIS? ROBERTO WAS ABOUT WIN THE MATCH FOR YOUR TEAM! NOW IS NOT THE TIME TO TRY AND BE THE HERO!
Eve: Roberto looks to be a little bit in disbelief that his brother tagged himself in with what they consider victory in their grasp. I don’t know what he has planned, but it better be good or else Roberto is going to be pissed.
Deadprez: LUIS SLINGS HIMSELF OVER THE TOP ROPE AND TAKES KELTON DOWN WITH THE SUNSET FLIP BEFORE QUICKLY STACKING UP KELTON FOR THE COVER! LA FAMILIA COULD STEAL IT HERE!
ONNNNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEE!
TWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOO!
THHHHHHHHHRRRRRREEEEEEEEE!
Gavin Kirkland: LUIS ALMOST WON THE MATCH THERE AS KELTON KICKS OUT WITH POWER! Unfortunately, that kickout sends Luis all the way back into the ropes–
Deadprez: AND LUIS CRASHES RIGHT INTO ROBERTO AND SENDS HIM FLYING OFF THE APRON AND RIGHT ONTO
Eve: LUIS IS LOOKING DOWN AT HIS FAMILIA DOWN ON THE MAT AFTER THAT HORRIBLE MISCUE! LUIS NEEDS TO TURN AROUND AS KELTON HAS RECOVERED AND HE IS BACK ON HIS FEET AS KELTON FIRES OFF THE “GALICK GUN”!
Gavin Kirkland: OH NO! Luis was worried about his brother and everything and he accidentally left himself open to getting hit by that Superkick. Leave it to Kelton to take a cheap shot like that. How disrespectful!
Eve: Luis is down on the mat after being clobbered in the back of the head by Kelton. Kelton grabs Luis and brings him back to his feet before hooking both of Luis’ arms BEFORE SWINGING HIS LEGS AND DROPPING LUIS WITH THE “CHANGE THE FUTURE”!
Deadprez: What a landing as Luis was spiked on his head after that Future Shock DDT by Kelton. Now Bronson is back in the ring, and he is calling for what could be a potentially match ending move as Kelton brings Luis back to his feet.
Gavin Kirkland: He grabs Luis by the waist and lifts him up in the air AND HE DOES, BUT LUIS IS TRYING TO BLOCK WHATEVER KELTON IS TRYING TO ACCOMPLISH!
Deadprez: KELTON IS TRYING TO GET LUIS IN POSITION, BUT LUIS IS TRYING TO FIGHT FREE BY KICKING KELTON IN THE HEAD, BUT THE KICKS AREN’T WORKING AS KELTON DROPS DOWN–
Gavin Kirkland: OH, MY GAWD! KELTON JUST DROPPED LUIS RIGHT ON HIS HEAD ONCE AGAIN WITH THAT HOLLOW POINT STYLE PILEDRIVER! THAT COULD HAVE BROKEN THE POOR GUY’S NECK!
Eve: That piledriver is then FOLLOWED UP WITH A PENALTY KICK FROM BRONSON! THAT LOOKED LIKE IT ALMOST CAUGHT LUIS IN THE FACE! THEY CALL THAT COMBINATION THE “AFTERIMAGE” AND LUIS MIGHT BE DOWN AND OUT AS KELTON DROPS HIM ON THE MAT AND HOOKS THE LEG FOR THE COVER!!
ONNNNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEE!
TWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOO!
THHHHHHHHHRRRRREEEEEEEEE!
(DING! DING! DING!)
(“Mr. Rager” starts playing again as Kelton rolls off of Luis. Kelton sits on the mat for a moment to catch his breath as Gina Romano announces the final decision of the match.)
Gina Romano: Here are your winners! The team of Bronson Daniels and Jon Kelton… ELYSIUM!!
Deadprez: Well, there you have it. Elysium’s debut as a tag team and it led to an Elysium victory here tonight on Showdown.
Gavin Kirkland: I guess I can give Bronson and Kelton credit. They fought one of the most well-oiled teams on Showdown and managed to win. At least they didn’t screw this match up.
Eve: Of course you would say something like that, but this was a great match showing off two amazing teams on Showdown. The Jaded Hearts better be careful with Elysium now in the tag team game.
(Bronson helps Kelton back to his feet as the referee raises their arms in victory before Elysium leaves the ring. As Elysium heads up the entrance ramp, Roberto and the rest of La Familia roll into the ring. Roberto looks down at Luis and he looks annoyed at his brother.)
Gavin Kirkland: Oh no! I don’t like this at all. Roberto doesn’t look too happy with Luis right now. He looks completely frustrated and I don’t like seeing any sort of dissension within La Familia.
Eve: Well it wasn’t like they didn’t try their hardest to win this match. They were close, but it just wasn’t enough. I mean Roberto wanted to keep his momentum going with another victory here in this match, but it wasn’t meant to be as Luis took the fall in this match.
Deadprez: La Familia tried to keep things on the right track, but it wasn’t enough on this night as Elysium picked up their first victory as an official team. Congratulations once again to Elysium on the win.
(The final shot shows Roberto still looking frustrated with Luis, who is finally sitting up in the ring before cutting to Elysium at the top of the ramp soaking in the cheers from their victory as the camera cuts elsewhere.)
(Showdown came back from commercials and at that moment, the speakers turned on as “Her” by Megan Thee Stallion started playing and the crowd reacted in a mixed reaction but most of them were cheering surprisingly as none other than the Showdown General Manager was making her entrance for the night! Kennedy Street walked out in an incredibly beautiful black dress, showing off the expensive jewelry she had on herself as she stood in front of the ramp with a confident smile on herself, ready for once again to give out some important news to this whole crew and the people around her, and well, she was still riding that high from seeing her brand come out victorious like that.)
Gavin Kirkland: OH MY GOSH, KENNIEEEEEEEEEEEE! MY GOAT! MY GENERAL MANAGER!
Eve: Right now, we are pleased to see the General Manager of Showdown, Kennedy Street, make her way down to the ring to give out news to all of the people watching tonight, usually most crowds are not very receptive to our general manager, but it seems everyone has eased up on her after Territorial Invasion.
Deadprez: Even though she is in a surprisingly good mood, a lot of us are still riding that high from Showdown being able to win Wargames and Brand Warfare, and Kennedy has been kind enough to give an opportunity to all of the people who achieved the win some kind of reward, and I wonder if she is going to use this time to do that.
(Kennedy Street walked down the ramp with a confident strut to her walk, she moved gracefully and quickly as she was focused on getting out the news that she had planned for tonight. She quickly went up the steel steps and ordered the ring announcer to open up the ropes for her, she entered inside and was kindly given a microphone. She stood there in the middle of the ring, posing a bit and enjoying the reaction that she was given before finally, her theme music died down and then she spoke up in her microphone.)
Kennedy Street: Are all of you enjoying the show so far?
Crowd: WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
(Kennedy nods quickly with a confident smile as she hears that reaction and then she continues speaking.)
Kennedy Street: That pleases Kennie a lot to hear that, as always, as the General Manager of this brand, my responsibility is to give you the best show every week and that is what I make sure to do every week with my own pedicured hands and this incredibly talented roster showed that as well not just every week, they showed that at Territorial Invasion, and yes, I am still going to run a few more miles in that victory lap, like come on, a curse of at least 5 years, we gotta celebrate for that every week we can! But yes, I am very proud of all of the competitors that showed out at Wargames and at Brand Warfare, and of course, as I have said already, I am a woman of my world and I said that due to how successful the event was for Showdown, I was going to end up giving a reward to each member of the two matches for what they were able to accomplish, and even though there were some… minor troubles with some of the people who were going to get the rewards and some complaints, as I have said already, everyoen is going to get their share of the pie.
Kennedy Street: But for now, I am going to focus on that later, I have something else that I need to worry about, and that is The Last Stand, as well as what is going to come after that at Road to Redemption.
(Kennedy starts pacing around the ring for a moment as she puts on a thoughtful expression.)
Kennedy Street: I don’t really need to spell out for you already what goes down at Road to Redemption, and even I am tired of having to repeat the same explanation over and over every year, so I am going to skip out on that and go straight to what matters, because I want to kill two birds with one stone and for that, at The Last Stand-
(Suddenly, before Kennedy could speak any further, ‘Sweet Dreams’ by Eurythmics started playing on the speakers and the crowd immediately went into a frenzy of loud boos, as of course, who else could it be? Harper Lee immediately started rushing out towards the entrance ramp, having an incredibly pissed off expression on her face and having a microphone on her hand as she shouted loudly onto it.)
Harper Lee: WOW, WOW, WOW, NOW HOLD OFF!
(The crowd simply continued to boo louder as Kennedy simply stood there incredibly confused as Harper rushed down.)
Eve: Uh… very welcoming presence from Harper here as she goes down the ramp here to interrupt Kennedy.
Gavin Kirkland: Man, Harper is very pretty but also very annoying.
Deadprez: You could describe her like that in basically a nutshell, Harper ended up coming so close at Territorial Invasion when trying to fight for the Answers World Championship and she came up short in that, and in recent weeks Diamond Dixon has challenged her to a match, but I assume that Harper is not going to be very happy about it.
(Finally, Harper quickly slid inside of the ring and got up, as her music died down and she started to talk towards Kennedy in a very annoyed tone.)
Harper Lee: I am sorry, what are you doing?!
Kennedy Street: …doing my job?
Harper Lee: OH! Great! Then you are clearly doing a bad job at it considering that you are not putting your attention towards ME, which is more important than whatever you are planning to say. Focus on me, because this is an emergency, and I need this resolved as soon as possible! Please, if you would be so kind as to cancel that match I have against Diamond Dixon, I would appreciate it.
Kennedy Street: Honey… no.
Harper Lee: Ah, I believe you did not hear me well, then let me repeat it and be more clear, I should not be wrestling at Wicked Games against Diamond Dixon-
Kennedy Street: Harper, I am not going to do that in any way.
Harper Lee: WHY NOT?!
Kennedy Street: Because I do not see an exact reason as to give you permission to cancel that match, I thought someone as great as Harper Lee would not be so scared of having to face someone like Diamond Dixon.
Harper Lee: Who do you think I am? Of course I am not scared! I just would rather not waste my precious time on such a dumb match like this!
Kennedy Street: Well, too bad, that is not my problem if I am being completely honest, the match is still going to go, and hey, cheer up because you are going to have to get ready besides that, because at the Last Stand, since you interrupted my announcement like that, you are going to face two other people in a Triple Threat Qualifying Match for the Extreme Elimination Chamber! And your opponents? They will be none other than the Cash in the Vault Winner, Donovan Duke, and the 24/7 Contract Holder, SOSA Henderson!
(The crowd cheered incredibly loudly once Kennedy finally said those kinds of news, Harper was shocked at first when she heard that but then slowly processed the words and let out a smirk in response.)
Harper Lee: Alright, you know what? I can work with that!… I am still not fighting Diamond, though-
Kennedy Street: Yes, you are. Alright, it was nice coming out here!
Harper Lee: Wha- HOLD ON!
Kennedy Street: Hope all of you enjoy the rest of the show!
(“Her” started to play on the speakers once more as Harper started shouting angrily through the music trying to get Kennedy’s attention, before out of nowhere they completely cut off Harper’s music and Kennedy completely ignored her. Kennedy got out of the ring and started walking up the ramp, waving goodbye to the crowd while she left Harper in the ring, absolutely livid and shouting at her.)
(The camera quickly changed towards gorilla position, Kennedy went back through the entrance ramp and entered here, as she was planning to go back to her office as soon as possible. But once she passed through gorilla, and went to turn a corner, she saw something peculiar.)
(She saw La Familia all together, all of them were standing together, beat up and sweaty after their matches, but what she mostly heard was Roberto shouting loudly and berating them about something, it only made her raise an eyebrow in response as she went to walk closer towards them.)
Roberto de la Rosa: COMO PUDIERON HACER ESO!? How bad could all of you have fucked up something like that when we were so close to-
Kennedy Street: Roberto.
(Roberto immediately stopped speaking, Raeangel, Luis and Brianna turned over confused and shocked once they saw Kennedy ended up approaching them. Roberto stood there silent for a few moments before he turned towards Kennedy with a very fake smile.)
Roberto de la Rosa: Ah! Señorita Kennedy, it is a pleasure to see you-
Kennedy Street: I can see that all of you have a problem.
Roberto de la Rosa: Oh no, I assure you that there is not much happening.
Kennedy Street: No, honey, don’t worry! I have a perfect solution to solve this! I need another match. Considering that all of you need to resolve this problem, and since Raeangel is already in a match, I have a great idea. At The Last Stand, in another qualifying match for the Extreme Elimination Chamber at Road to Redemption, it will be none other than Roberto de la Rosa versus Luis de la Rosa versus Brianna Hill! Good luck!
(After Kennedy says those last words, she turns her back on them and then walks away as all of La Familia stood there stunned and completely shocked. And at that scene, Showdown fades away to commercials.)
(The camera fades to ringside.)
Gina Romano: Ladies and gentlemen… The following Singles Match is scheduled for ONE FALL!!!
Crowd: ONE FALL!!!!
(‘2nd Sucks’ by A Day To Remember starts to play throughout the arena as a mix of cheers and boos can be heard at the sight of Ruler being carried down to the ring by multiple druids.)
Gina Romano: Introducing first… Residing in The Reserved in Boston, Massachusetts… Weighing in at 220 pounds… He is… “The Revolutionizer”… RUUUUUUULERRRRRR!!!
(As Ruler slowly makes it inside the ring and his druids surround the ring. His theme song is then replaced by ‘I Rise’ by Cory Marks and the crowd start to cheer very loudly at the sight of Donovan Duke coming out pumped up as ever and ready to go all out as he heads towards the ring slapping the hands of many of his fans.)
Gina Romano: His opponent… From Stillwater, Oklahoma… Weighing in at 212 pounds… He is Mr Cash In The Vault… “THE OKLAHOMA STORM” DONOVAAAAAAAAAN DUUUUUUUKE!!!
(Ding! Ding! Ding!)
Deadprez: That’s the sound of the bell as both these men slowly start approaching each other and they lock up with a collar-and-elbow hold on each other. Two top stars here on Showdown trying to prove who is better than the other while we are accompanied by another great talent on commentary with us, Ryan Wilson, but right now it seems like Donovan Duke is able to get on the offense as he starts to push Ruler onto the ropes before attempting an Irish-Whip to the other side… Ruler however is more than ready as he reverses the Irish-Whip with one of his own as he sends Donovan Duke to the opposite side of the ring as he rebounds off the ropes while Ruler waits for Donovan to get closer. Ruler picks up Donovan Duke as he gets closer looking to connect with a Spinebuster assisted by the momentum, but Donovan Duke is able to turn things around in his favor as he grabs onto Ruler’s head and connects with a Tornado DDT variation of sports as Donovan gets back on his feet! As quickly as he got back on his feet, he goes back down as Donovan Duke goes for a Standing Moonsault on the downed Ruler that connects effortlessly before Donovan gets back up again and starts to pick up Ruler from the ground before going for an Irish-Whip and successfully sending Ruler across the ring!
Ryan Wilson: It’s great being out here especially with the great action going on inside the ring at the moment, but let me tell you something Prezzy… These druids that Hunter brings around? Don’t trust ‘em. Not one bit. I’ll be keeping my eyes on them for sure, but at the same time the action is the priority as Hunter rebounds back to Donovan Duke as Donovan connects with a mean Spinebuster in the middle of the ring as he goes for a cover!
Referee: ONEEEEEEEEE!!!
Referee: TWOOOO-!!!
Ryan Wilson: Hunter kicking out before the two count as the action continues on! Donovan Duke slowly trying to pick up Hunter once again, but Hunter isn’t going to let that just happen as he starts throwing elbows at Donovan Duke until one of them dazed Donovan which gives Hunter the opportunity to get on the offense as he gets back up on his feet and wastes no time by setting up Donovan Duke for a Brainbuster! What a move, but Hunter isn’t done just yet as he quickly gets up with Donovan Duke still in his grasp, quickly setting him up for a German Suplex that sends Donovan across the ring!!!
Eve: Both Ruler and Donovan Duke have been going all out as Donovan Duke isn’t looking to stay down for long as he starts to crawl towards the ropes, but Ruler isn’t wasting any time as he grabs Donovan from his legs and pulls him away from the ropes before deadlifting him onto his shoulders into a Powerbomb position as Donovan goes up and then immediately down! Ruler connects with a Sit-Out Powerbomb as he goes for the cover on Donovan Duke and the referee starts the count!
Referee: ONEEEEEEEEEE!!!
Referee: TWOOOOOO-!!!
Eve: Kick Out from Donovan Duke as Mr. Cash In The Vault ain’t giving up that easily! Ruler slowly picks himself back up however as he slowly picks up Donovan Duke as well before running the ropes, rebounding off them, and looking to connect with a Clothesline on Donovan… Donovan Duke however is able to duck underneath at the last minute as he quickly runs towards the ropes, uses them to his advantage, and as Ruler turns around he’s hit with a flawless Springboard Assisted Hurricanrana that sends Ruler down! Ruler though able to get back up on one knee looking to get back on his two feet, but Donovan Duke more than ready to prevent a potential comeback as he hits him with a BRUTAL Clothesline that lays him down on the mat! Donnie looks to keep applying more pressure on Ruler though as he starts to deadlift him from the ground as Donovan Duke is able to connect with a Deadlift German Suplex that sends Ruler across the ring…
Gavin Kirkland: This may have been a mistake for Donovan Duke however as Ruler is able to roll out of the ring looking to avoid some more damage from Donovan as Ruler slowly starts to pick himself up while his druids just eerily look at their “master”? Regardless of what it is, Donovan Duke isn’t wasting any time as he started running the ropes, rebounds, and is looking to connect with a Suicide Dive to the outside on Ruler… HE CONNECTS AS BOTH MEN ARE DOWN ON THE GROUND! Donovan Duke though picking himself back up as he slowly starts picking up Ruler off the ground, starts to put him over the shoulders as he looks to go for a Powerbomb of sorts, but Ruler now using the momentum to his advantage connects with a Hurricanrana that sends Donovan Duke right on the side of the announcers table! Both these men are giving their absolute best no denying that, each going harder and harder, but only one elitist can walk out the winner here tonight as Ruler gets back up and heads towards Donovan Duke. Donovan Duke slowly picks himself up being assisted by the announcers table, but Ruler already ready as he grabs Donovan from the throat, lifts him up, and quickly heads near the ring apron as he connects with a Chokeslam that sends Donovan back first on the hardest part of the ring! Ruler starts to climb to the outer side of the ring apron now and as quickly as he goes up he goes looking for a Moonsault that connects beautifully!
Referee: ONE!
Referee: TWO!
Referee: THREE!
Ryan Wilson: I’ll give it to Hunter, so far the match has been fairly clean, his druids haven’t done much YET, and he’s been putting great work especially that Moonsault we just saw. If I was both Donovan Duke and Hunter though, I would head back inside the ring before the count gets closer to ten as Hunter slowly picks up Donovan Duke off the floor and puts him back inside the ring before quickly going for the cover as the referee starts to go for the count!
Referee: ONEEEEEEE!!!
Referee: TWOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
Referee: THR-
Ryan Wilson: A kick out at two from Donovan Duke as the match continues on, Hunter looking like he wants to end this match sooner rather than later as he slowly gets up, grabs Donovan Duke from his head as he’s looking to connect with his signature DDT he calls “Will of Nicholas”, but Donovan Duke musters all his strength to push Hunter away from him onto the ropes as Hunter rebounds off them before Donovan uses that momentum to his advantage to connect with a Belly-To-Belly Suplex on Hunter! Donovan Duke is in the zone now as he makes his way towards Hunter, grabs him by his legs, and deadlifts him up for a Deadlift Powerbomb as he slams him down onto the mat once again, but Donovan isn’t finished just yet as he doesn’t let go of Hunter just yet as he lifts him up once again, and drops him back down with another Deadlift Powerbomb! I think we might be seeing Donnie go for a third one here as he once again lifts him up and puts him back down for the third one as Donovan Duke goes for the cover and the referee starts the count!
Referee: ONEEEEEEEEE!!!
Referee: TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
Referee: THR-
Deadprez: Ruler able to kick out just at two as Donoban Duke positions himself in the corner, watching Ruler as he slowly rises, clearly starting to feel the effects of the match itself… Donovan charges towards Ruler, looking to connect with the “Dealer’s Choice” Spinning Backfisr… Ruler catches him in mid spin however almost like a rush of adrenaline has taken a hold of Ruler as he executes a beautiful Uranage reversal that sends Donovan crashing down to the mat.
Gavin Kirkland: What strength from Ruler! He turned the tide in an instant!
Ruler takes a moment to catch his breath, using the ropes to pull himself up. He eyes Donovan, who’s struggling to recover, and seizes the opportunity. He stalks towards him, delivering a heavy stomp to Donovan’s midsection, leaving him gasping for air.
Ryan Wilson: Hunter is relentless! He’s not allowing Donovan to catch his breath. With Donovan doubled over, Hunter backs off, only to rebound off the ropes. He comes barreling towards Donovan, looking for a big knee strike. At the last moment, Donovan rolls out of the way, and Hunter crashes into the turnbuckle hard.
Eve: And just like that, Donovan Duke has found a glimmer of hope! Donovan quickly scrambles to his feet, using the ropes for support. He approaches Ruler, who is staggered, and begins to unleash a flurry of punches, each one connecting with precision. The crowd rallies behind Donovan, chanting his name as he builds momentum.
Deadprez: Listen to this crowd! They’re solidly behind Donovan Duke as he fights back! With Ruler reeling, Donovan whips him to the ropes again, this time setting up for a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker. He connects perfectly, showcasing his agility and strength. As Ruler is seen aching on the ground, Donovan quickly climbs to the top turnbuckle, signaling to the audience.
Ryan Wilson: What’s he thinking? This could be risky As he steadies himself, Donovan leaps off, executing a picture-perfect shooting star press that lands flush on Hunter! He hooks the leg for the pin!
Referee: ONEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
Referee: TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
Referee: THREE-!!!
Eve: Close call there as Ruler kicks out before the three! Donovan has to stay focused; he’s putting in the work, but Ruler is still dangerous especially with those druids on the outside… Donovan, refusing to let the near-fall discourage him though, gets back to his feet and begins to strategize. He grabs Ruler by the head, dragging him back up, but Ruler retaliates with a headbutt that stuns Donovan momentarily.
Gavin Kirkland: Ruler isn’t out of this yet! He’s still got fight in him! Ruler capitalizes on Donovan’s daze, quickly transitioning into a snap suplex. He floats over for the cover again.
Referee: ONEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
Referee: TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
Referee: THREEEE-!!!
Gavin Kirkland: Donovan kicks out yet again, and Ruler looks towards his druids before getting back on his feet. He pulls Donovan back up and positions him for a suplex of his own, but Donovan blocks it, countering with a series of elbows to Ruler’s midsection. He then spins Ruler around and executes a swinging neckbreaker.
Ryan Wilson: Incredible resilience from Donovan! He’s showing he can take as much as he gives! With Hunter down, Donovan moves towards the corner, climbing up once more, this time looking for his signature move, the “Stack The Deck” Phoenix Splash… He takes a deep breath, focusing as he positions himself on the top rope. As he leaps, Hunter suddenly rolls away, causing Donovan to crash onto the mat.
Eve: Oh! Donovan misses as Ruler was able to roll away to safety just in time, and that could be a turning point in this match! Ruler, now back on his feet, takes a moment to gather himself. He eyes the downed Donovan and motions to the crowd, who are now split in their support. Ruler picks Donovan up, delivering a series of stiff chops across his chest that echo throughout the arena.
Deadprez: The crowd is divided! Both these men have their loyal fans here tonight. With Donovan visibly in pain, Ruler sets him up for a devastating “Will of Nicholas” DDT. He lifts Donovan, but in a surprising turn of events, Donovan manages to wriggle free and counters with a jawbreaker that sends Ruler stumbling back. Straight up NASTY stuff y’all!
Ryan Wilson: What a counter! Donovan is fighting for his life in this match! Seeing Hunter dazed, Donovan seizes the moment to set up for his signature move once more. He charges towards Ruler, executing a picture-perfect “Dealer’s Choice” Spinning Backfist Signature move… The backfist connects perfectly on Hunter!
Eve: This could be it! Donovan might just seal the deal here! Donovan, feeling the fatigue of this match but fueled by the crowd’s energy, collapses onto Ruler for the pin. As the referee starts the count!
Referee: ONEEEEEEEEE!!!
Referee: TWOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
Referee: THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
Eve: Ruler gets a shoulder up at the last moment, and the arena erupts in disbelief. Donovan, a mix of frustration and determination, stares at the referee, but quickly returns to focus as he’s looking to pick up the win here tonight.
Gavin Kirkland: I can’t believe it! Ruler is still in this fight! Donovan drags himself to the corner again, his body aching, but he knows he must keep going. As he ascends the turnbuckle, he locks eyes with Ruler, who is slowly getting up. The crowd senses the urgency.
Ryan Wilson: Donovan is going back up! He’s risking it all for the win! As Donovan prepares to leap, perhaps trying to connect with his signature Phoenix Splash, Hunter gets up as he runs towards Donnie, knocking the ropes, and causing Donovan to lose his balance. Donovan attempts to keep his balance before the force being too much and sending him down, landing hard on the mat. Hunter capitalizes, pulling Donovan into a Powerbomb position, and with incredible strength, he lifts him high before slamming him down with a devastating Powerbomb of his own!
Eve: What a counter! Ruler showing his strength when it matters most! Both men lie on the mat, spent from the back-and-forth battle, as the referee begins to check up on both elitists. The crowd is on the edge of their seats, chanting for both competitors. Slowly, both men begin to stir. Ruler manages to roll over, draping an arm over Donovan.
Referee: ONEEEEEEEEEE!!!
Referee: TWOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
Referee: THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
Deadprez: Donovan instinctively kicks out again, keeping the match alive. Ruler, now showing signs of frustration, pushes himself to his feet, dragging Donovan up with him. He sets him up for a devastating “Fake It Flowers” Emerald Flowsion finisher, but Donovan counters once again, sending Ruler crashing into the corner.
Ryan Wilson: This is incredible! Both men are refusing to stay down! With the crowd fully invested, Donovan ascends the turnbuckle once more, aiming to finish this match. He steadies himself, but as he leaps, Hunter gets pulled out of the way by those damn druids! Donovan crashes hard onto the mat.
Deadprez: It seems the toll of this match is making both men try giving their all even if it’s to their own detriment… Ruler, still recovering, sees his chance. He goes back inside the ring to capitalize by picking up Donovan and looking to connect with a “Revolutionizer” Spinning Back Heel Kick! What’s this though?! Ryan Wilson has left our table and is trying to “help” Donovan Duke with the druid problem which distracts Ruler giving enough time for Donovan to recover as he turns Ruler around for “Royal Flush” as the Widow’s Peak connects!!! Donovan now goes for the cover. Will this be it y’all?!?
Referee: ONEEEEEEEEE!!!
Referee: TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
Referee: THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
(DING! DING! DING!)
Gina Romano: Ladies and gentlemen, here is your winner by pinfall… “THE OKLAHOMA STORM” DONOVAAAAAAAAAN DUUUUUUUKE!!!
Eve: What a win from Donovan Duke here tonight, but it seems the druids are not too happy with Ryan Wilson as they start to slowly approach him looking to possibly attack him, but Ryan Wilson is able to escape from the druids with some help from Donovan Duke as both men quickly make their way to the back.
Gavin Kirkland: Ruler is not too happy about the results here tonight, I mean let’s face it folks, if it wasn’t for Ryan Wilson costing him the match, Ruler would have won here tonight!
Deadprez: Aw man we both know that the match was as good as done if those druids ain’t help Ruler to begin with! That was fair play from Ryan Wilson and when things finally became even ya’ know… He lost. Great effort but Donovan Duke was just the better man here tonight.
(Donovan Duke and Ryan Wilson are seen near the entrance stage area heading to the back as the camera transitions to inside the ring where Ruler is seen very angry at what just happened looking at both Donovan Duke and Ryan Wilson before the scene fades to a commercial break.)
(Showdown returns to ringside, and ‘Changed It’ by Nicki Minaj and Lil Wayne hits, causing the crowd to explode with cheers. The camera pans towards the stage, and before long the Universal Women’s Champion begins making her way out to the stage. Milli Banks is wearing her Championship around her waist while holding a microphone in her hand, and she has a smirk on her face as she looks towards the fans in attendance, before finally making her way down the ramp and towards the ring.)
Deadprez: Milli Banks is here, and I think she’s here to respond to what happened between her and KASAI last week! We know that Milli made an appearance on Voltage that nearly ended violently, but Milli was ready.
Gavin Kirkland: I’m glad to see Milli tonight, that’s for sure. It looks like she’s here to speak though, and I’m interested in hearing what she has to say following KASAI’s recent actions.
Eve: Milli is on her way to the ring, and I think there’s one thing we can say for sure before she begins to speak. Milli is ready for this match.
(Milli enters the ring, and her entrance music begins to fade out as all that’s heard is the cheering fans in attendance. After some time, Milli begins to speak.)
Milli Banks: I’d say last week went pretty well, didn’t it?
(The fans begin to cheer once again, and after this Milli continues.)
Milli Banks: I handled business last week and beat Miku just like I promised, and I’m not gonna lie and act like she didn’t put up a fight. She’s a former Champion and she’s definitely talented in her own right, but she’s just not good enough to beat me. Her own actions went and blew up in her face, and I ended the night with another win… With a certain someone watching it all go down. She knows who she is, ‘cause these last few weeks she’s been trying her best to get in my head but last week should’ve been all the proof she needed that it’s not gonna work. She decided to show up and watch my match on Showdown, and that didn’t stop me from winning. She invited me to Voltage so she can try to attack me again, but I wasn’t about to get caught by the same trick twice. The girlies must’ve forgot why I’m the Universal Women’s Champion, but that’s fine. KASAI’s got more than enough time to figure it out, because as long as she has her eyes on this she’s gonna come up short.
(Milli raises her Universal Women’s Championship in the air, causing more cheers to come from the fans. After this she places the Championship on her shoulder, continuing to speak.)
Milli Banks: I know the kind of competitor KASAI is, and even if I was the type to try and overlook everything she’s already done so far, she laid me out a few weeks ago just to make sure her message was sent. She wants my Championship, since for some reason she thinks that immediately after losing the Specialists Championship she can just come and end my own title reign. Nah, there’s a lot more I want to do with the Universal Women’s Championship so she’s gonna have to wait a long time before getting her hands on this is an option, but if she’s gonna come and step up to me she might as well do it face to face on even ground rather than waiting until I’m already in the middle of a match.
(Milli turns towards the stage before continuing.)
Milli Banks: KASAI, I gave you what I wanted and paid Voltage a visit. You invited me to your brand, so I’d like to return the favor. I’m sure you’re here anyway, so instead of waiting to catch me by surprise, why don’t you meet me in the ring and say everything you gotta say to my face?
(This gets the fans in attendance excited, and after some time, ‘The End’ by Lil Uzi Vert and BABYMETAL hits. This causes a mixed reaction to come from the fans in attendance as KASAI begins to walk out to the stage. KASAI is also holding a microphone, and she has a grin on her face as she looks towards Milli Banks. Before long, she begins walking down the ramp and towards the ring.)
Deadprez: It was only a matter of time before KASAI made an appearance. We know these two are ready for The Last Stand, but before then things have slowly been getting heated between these two.
Gavin Kirkland: I’m sure it’ll be fine! KASAI is a bit crazy, but I’m glad to see both of these women out here! It’s a good thing Milli was right, and she actually was backstage all along.
Eve: Yeah, but that also means anything could’ve happened if Milli didn’t call her out. If that’s the case, don’t you think we should be a bit worried? Things could end in chaos tonight.
(KASAI walks up the steel steps before joining Milli Banks inside of the ring. ‘The End’ begins to fade out, and KASAI walks directly towards Milli before beginning to speak.)
KASAI: You’re wrong.
(KASAI stops speaking after this, leaving a bit of a confused look on Milli’s face. KASAI begins to laugh after noticing this, before finally continuing.)
KASAI: Milli, you think you’re ready for everything i have to handle just because of the way Voltage played out, but that’s far from the truth. It’s easy to go back and forth week after week but I’m pretty sure it’s you who said that it’ll be a different story once it’s time for us to stand face to face. Well I’m here right now, and I’m telling you that you’re making a mistake by underestimating what I’m capable of. You seem to believe that you have all the answers, but in reality you don’t have any idea of what’s coming at The Last Stand. Last week was nothing. What matters is whether or not I’m able to take you down in the end, and by now you should already know that I can do that. You think it won’t be so easy going from the Specialists Championship directly to the Universal Women’s Championship, and while I understand that this will be a challenge, I wouldn’t have come after you if I didn’t feel that I was ready.
KASAI: Not only am I ready to face you for the Universal Women’s Championship, but I’m ready to rip that title out of your hands. You got comfortable because you’ve picked up some big victories, and don’t worry, I don’t plan to overlook any of those wins. You have accomplished a lot yourself and I can’t even say I blame you for becoming comfortable, but that’s going to be a disadvantage when faced against an opponent as hungry as myself. Since I joined this company I’ve looked to push myself further. I’m here for the sake of excellence, and while I may no longer be the Specialists Championship, that doesn’t mean my career is over. Instead, I now have the opportunity to focus on reaching greater heights. Heights such as the Championship you’re currently holding. Knowing who you’re up against, do you really believe it’d be a good idea to doubt my chances?
Milli Banks: It’s not about my doubting your chances. It’s about the faith I have in myself after delivering every time I got in the ring since I joined this company. You’re not the first to look for bigger things after losing the Specialists Championship, and even I didn’t get that immediately. It didn’t take long for me to get here though, because I kept working and pushing myself until I was able to get the job done. If anyone would know what it’s like to be in your position it’s me, so don’t think that I’m just underestimating you. I know what you’ve done. You beat Bea Valentine for the Specialists Championship and you held the title for a while. You had a good reign and this season’s been shaping up to be a nice one for you, but you’ll need to be a lot better if you want this Championship out of my hands. Saying it won’t be easy to beat me is an understatement in itself after what it took to win it in the first place.
KASAI: Right, which is my point. Because of your monumental victory you seem to believe that you stand at a level nobody around you can reach, but you’re wrong. I’ve had my eyes on you for some time now, and since Territorial Invasion I’ve had more than enough time to think about this match and exactly what it is I’m asking for. I’m here because I want to fight the woman at the very top of the division, take her down, and become the new Universal Women’s Champion. I can do that. The difference between us Milli is that I actually know what’s coming. I know what I should be on the lookout for, and I know how big of a threat you are. I’ve been preparing myself for this match even before I first let you know what it was I wanted, but you? You’re going to keep telling yourself that I just can’t do it, and when the time comes for us to fight I will once again stand tall.
(There’s a mixed reaction from the fans after this is said by KASAI, but Milli doesn’t let these words get to her as she begins to speak.)
Milli Banks: You know what’s coming? Is that why last week played out the way it did? There’s a difference between actually being ready and just being overconfident, and I don’t mind showing you it once again. We can keep talking but you already saw everything you needed to. I’m not gonna fall for the tricks again, and I’m not about to let anything stop me from walking into The Last Stand at my very best. If you want to keep forcing this idea that I’m underestimating you, go ahead. I just hope that when this ends and you’re empty handed, you realize that I saw right through you a long time ago.
(The fans cheer, but after hearing this from Milli, the smile on KASAI’s face widens.)
KASAI: We’ll see how long you’ll be saying that, Milli. Just remember you’re the one being hunted here, and until I walk out of The Last Stand as the Universal Women’s Champion, you’re gonna need to be a lot more careful.
(There’s stare down between both women, until…)
Deadprez: AND THERE IT IS! KASAI JUST HIT MILLI BANKS WITH A HEADBUTT, AND I THINK IT WAS ONLY A MATTER OF TIME BEFORE THINGS REACHED THIS POINT!
Gavin Kirkland: MILLI DROPS TO A KNEE, AND NOW KASAI JUST BEGINS PUMMELING THE UNIVERSAL WOMEN’S CHAMPION! KASAI JUST THROWING ALL THESE PUNCHES AT MILLI BANKS AS MILLI IS BACKED INTO THE CORNER OF THE RING, UNTI FINALLY KASAI THROWS MILLI ONTO THE MAT, SEEMINGLY SETTING UP FOR SOMETHING! KASAI IS ONCE AGAIN ATTACKING THE UNIVERSAL WOMEN’S CHAMPION, AND NOW SHE RUNS THE ROPES BEFORE GOING FOR CTE-
Eve: BUT IT DOESN’T CONNECT!!!!! MILLI IS ABLE TO AVOID THAT KNEE FROM KASAI BEFORE BEGINNING TO RUN THE ROPES HERSELF!
Deadprez: NO FAKE BILLS HERE!!!!!! MILLI BANKS IS ABLE TO CATCH KASAI WITH THE SINGLE LEG HIGH KNEE, AND I THINK KASAI MAY HAVE MESSED UP THIS TIME! KASAI IS BEGINNING TO STUMBLE BACK TO HER FEET, AND IT LOOKS LIKE MILLI ISN’T DONE JUST YET!
Gavin Kirkland: MILLI RUNS IN, BEFORE TAKING KASAI OUT WITH NEW BODY!!!!! NEW BODY CONNECTS, AND KASAI IS FORCED TO ROLL OUT OF THE RING AS THE UNIVERSAL WOMEN’S CHAMPION STANDS TALL!!!!
Eve: Milli Banks gets the better of KASAI tonight, but will the same thing happen at The Last Stand? Things have been getting increasingly more physical between these two, but that just means we may see them bring even more out of each other once the title is actually on the line.
Deadprez: That’s a good point. I think one thing’s for sure though, and it’s that Milli Banks is ready for whatever’s to come.
(Milli Banks returns to her feet as KASAI is seen laid out on the ringside floor. Milli stares at her for a moment, before turning towards the crowd and raising her Universal Women’s Championship. The fans began to cheer once more as ‘Changed It’ began to play, and after this Showdown began to fade away from ringside to an ad for The Last Stand before the Main Event.)
(Showdown returns from a commercial break for the final time, showing the crowd’s excitement for the upcoming main event. Gina Romano stands in the center of the ring as she’s also excited to announce the main event.)
Gina Romano: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN!… YOUR MAIN EVENT OF THIS EVENING IS A LAST STAND PREVIEW MATCH! THIS WILL BE A TAG TEAM CONTEST AND IT’S SCHEDULED FOR ONE FALL!
Crowd: ONE FALL!
(‘Kostas’ by Westside Gunn, Conway the Machine, and Benny the Butcher hits as Cody Maverick, wearing a serious expression, heads toward the ring. He stops at ringside, waiting for his partner. Moments later, ‘7 Rings’ by Ariana Grande replaces his theme, and Veena Adams, looking as glamorous as ever, walks out draped in gold with the National Elite Championship fastened around her waist. Veena joins Cody at ringside as Cody glances back at her briefly, though the champion doesn’t even acknowledge him as the both enter the ring together side by side.)
Gina Romano: INTRODUCING FIRST!… THE TEAM OF!… SIN CITY SUPERSTAR, CODY MAVERICK!… AND EAW NATIONAL ELITE CHAMPION!… THE GOLDEN STAR, VEENA ADAMS!!!!!!!
Gavin Kirkland: What an interesting matchup we have for the main event tonight! The Sin City Superstar had his moment last week when it was announced that he’ll face Veena Adams at Last Stand for the EAW National Elite Championship! Will Cody finally shock the world, or will my beloved queen, Veena Adams, stay on top? You already know where my money’s at!
Eve: Veena Adams has been a dominant champion and a highly successful elitist ever since she took the step forward to claim the title. She’s transformed from being just the National Elite Champion into someone who has grown and evolved through hard work, proving why she deserves to hold that title.
Deadprez: And now, we have Cody Maverick—a rising star on the Showdown brand—who already shocked the world by winning his first-ever Brand Warfare match as a rookie. Tonight, he steps into another main event, teaming with some of the most prestigious champions across the brands. It’s going to be an exciting night for Showdown, no doubt about it!
(Maverick warms up while Veena hands her title to the referee and prepares herself for the match as ‘It Ain’t Safe’ by Skepta hits the PA system as Charlie Marr walks out, a disgusted look on his face, clearly unhappy with his partner for the night. He shakes his head but briefly smiles when he catches Veena’s eye but that smile quickly fades as ‘Ambitionz az a Ridah’ by 2Pac plays, and TLA, with the EAW Answers World Championship on his shoulder, walks out, locking eyes with Charlie Marr. Annoyed, Charlie shakes his head and walks ahead toward the ring as if he’s already irritated by TLA. Meanwhile, TLA remains unfazed, heading to the ring on his own.)
Gina Romano: INTRODUCING THEIR OPPONENTS!… THE TEAM OF!… COLOSSUS, CHARLIE MARR!… AND THE EAW ANSWERS WORLD CHAMPION!… T!… L!… A!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Gavin Kirkland: Two men who already don’t like each other. Charlie Marr faced off against TLA earlier this season, but he failed to capture the Answers World Championship, with TLA overcoming him at Midsummer Massacre.
Eve: And now, once again, Charlie Marr has earned another opportunity by successfully leading Team Showdown, setting the stage for a rematch against TLA for the Answers World Championship. It’s going to be one hell of a fight at Last Stand!
Deadprez: Marr has always been a man on a mission, and so is TLA, carrying the pride of the world championship on his shoulder just like he is now. Both men know exactly what they’re getting themselves into. This match will give us a glimpse of what to expect at Last Stand.
(DING DING DING!)
Eve: Proverbial concept of “Can They Coexist?!” headlines Showdown here tonight. Two teams, both of which are confirmed for championship matches at Last Stand, will be teaming up against one another. Last week, we saw Cody earn his reward with a shot at the National Elite Championship against Veena Adams.
Deadprez: And Charlie Marr secured his redemption opportunity against TLA for the Answers World Championship. We’ve got some incredible matches lined up, but we’ll see how well these two teams can work together, especially with Veena and Charlie set to face off—
(DOUBLE TAG!)
Deadprez: ????
Eve: ????
Gavin Kirkland: Tag and TLA and Cody Maverick are in! Come on, guys! There’s no way these two actually want to team up in such a random matchup. You all know their history, right?!
Eve: Both of them look a bit confused by what just happened, but they’ll have to roll with it regardless. Cody Maverick is now facing off against the Answers World Champion. Looking at the situation, Cody stands out as the only rookie in this match, making this a huge opportunity for him to prove his worth against top-tier stars like TLA, Charlie Marr, and Veena Adams.
Deadprez: We saw his stellar victory at Territorial Invasion, where, thanks to SOSA Henderson, he was part of the winning Showdown team in Brand Warfare this year! TLA steps forward, riding high off his recent fatal four-way title elimination, as he locks up with the Sin City Superstar in a collar-and-elbow tie-up!
Gavin Kirkland: Cody, one step ahead, quickly switches things around, taking TLA down to the mat with a snapmare, followed by a grounded headlock! TLA is using both hands to try and pry Cody’s grip off, but Cody applies even more pressure, already putting TLA in a tight spot!
Eve: TLA slowly regains his footing, rising from the ground to both feet, all while Cody maintains his tight hold. TLA, now back on his feet, tries to turn the tables with a backdrop suplex, but Cody lands a sharp elbow to the top of TLA’s head just in time, forcing the champion to release him.
Deadprez: Maverick takes off running towards the ropes, with the Answers World Champion following close behind. Cody stops in the middle of the ring, turns around, and swings a right arm for a quick clothesline, but TLA ducks underneath!
Gavin Kirkland: TLA moves behind Maverick and pushes him towards the ropes, attempting his own clothesline, but Maverick ducks underneath as well, stopping right behind TLA. The champion turns around… ONLY TO BE MET BY CODY SETTING HIM UP FOR THE SIN CITY STUNNER!
Eve: BUT NOT SO FAST—TLA SHOVES HIM AWAY! Cody spins back around, only to get nailed with a kick to the gut this time… TLA LOOKS TO DELIVER THE MEXICAN DESTROYER but Cody counters with a back body drop, sending TLA landing on both feet as both men lock eyes, the crowd erupting into a standing ovation for the fast paced sequence these two have just delivered!
(TLA and Cody Maverick lock eyes for a brief moment after their intense exchange, clearly appreciating the challenge they’re bringing to one another. Both seem to be enjoying the competition, a subtle respect forming between them before they begin circling each other once again.)
Gavin Kirkland: What a match this is turning out to be! Both competitors have shown a fair amount of respect toward one another, and now they’re about to face off again. TLA is preparing to make his approach–
(TAG!)
(TLA looks confused as Charlie Marr unexpectedly blind tags him from behind and steps into the ring, taking matters into his own hands. Charlie wastes no time, heading straight toward Cody Maverick to face him.)
Gavin Kirkland: Well, it looks like this is coming to an end pretty quickly as Charlie Marr enters the ring and immediately throws a right hand at the surprised Maverick, who was still confused about what just happened.
Eve: Maverick manages to duck just in time! The fight must go on, and Cody counters Charlie’s attack with one of his own! Right hands are raining down on his Brand Warfare leader, and now he’s able to stun Charlie!
Deadprez: Cody heads toward the ropes and comes back at Charlie… CHARLIE CATCHES HIM WITH A BIG BOOT, TURNING AND SENDING CODY CRASHING TO THE MAT! Cody stumbles from the impact but gets back to his feet!
Gavin Kirkland: Charlie is standing close by, leaps into the air… CHARLIE WITH THE HIGH RISE DROPKICK, SENDING MAVERICK CRASHING TO THE GROUND AGAIN! The Sin City Superstar struggles to his feet, ending up in the corner, lying down near the ropes. Charlie now eyes Cody, pushing himself up from the ground. Marr charges toward the ropes, but Cody sends him over the top and onto the apron.
Eve: Maverick turns around, trying to knock Charlie off the apron, but Charlie catches the incoming punch and sends Cody crashing back to the mat with a punch of his own! The Tyrant is still on fire, holding onto the ropes and launching himself back into the ring… MARR’S A SLINGSHOT ELBOW DROP LANDING SQUARELY ON MAVERICK’S CHEST! Here’s a cover by Charlie!
ONEEEEEEEEEEE!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Eve: Two! Maverick manages to lift his shoulder off the ground! Marr gets back to his feet and seems to be exchanging glances with Veena. Both are smiling at each other—are they planning something right now?!
(Marr taps Cody’s head as he points at Veena, saying something to him.)
Charlie Marr (Off-Mic): Alright, kiddo, hate to cut the fun short, but our time’s up. Tag her in, would you?
(Cody looks confused, as if he’s being ordered around like back during their time together in Brand Warfare, but this time, it’s not even about Brand Warfare anymore.)
Cody Maverick: (Off-Mic) Uh…
Charlie Marr (Off-Mic): Come on, big boy! Get your ass up!
(Marr helps Maverick up, but Maverick disgustedly pushes him away, leaving Marr with a shocked and confused look.)
Cody Maverick (Off-Mic): No, Charlie! This isn’t how things are going to work anymore. Our partnership ended a long time ago, and now we’re facing each other. I want YOU to fight me!
Gavin Kirkland: Wow! I guess Charlie had no choice but to fight him–
(TAG!)
(Cody is close to his team’s corner, allowing Veena to reach out and tag him. She ignores him completely as she enters the ring to face Charlie.)
Charlie Marr (Off-Mic): Great!
(TAG!)
Deadprez: What the hell is going on right now, dawg….
Eve: I guess this is what we’re dealing with all night, Prez—two teams that can barely work together, and some confusion with the tags. It’s slowly turning into a huge mess. Charlie just tagged out, giving TLA a conflicted look, but not wanting to dwell on it, TLA entered the ring, and now it’s a face off between the champions!
Gavin Kirkland: We’ve got to work with what we have as the main event continues. TLA slowly approaches Veena, and she cautiously faces him, but as he gets closer, Veena quickly pushes him away with an MMA-style calf kick, causing TLA to stumble back a bit.
Deadprez: TLA steadies himself and takes a stance, ready to strike, and quickly responds, but Veena counters right away! The Answers World Champion swiftly dashes forward, going for both arms, underhooking them, and attempting to lift Veena for a Tiger Suplex!
Gavin Kirkland: Veena sweeps one of TLA’s legs out from under him, zeroing in on the same arm he was gearing up to use for the Tiger Suplex! Now, Veena stays firmly in the driver’s seat, her hand wide open as she lashes out with the base of her palm targeting TLA’s head! Veena presses her advantage using her body weight and momentum to power those pinpoint strikes!
Eve: TLA attempts to defend himself, trying to avoid being struck by those direct palm strikes from Veena. TLA tries to block them, but Veena targets the sides of his head, aiming for his ears in an attempt to disorient or even deafen him!
Deadprez: Veena is being very strategic with her approach against TLA at the moment, and I’m sure that’s caught the world champion off guard so far!
Gavin Kirkland: TLA is now fighting back, taking his turn to strike at Veena. He twists her stance, then sits on top of her before raining down his own elbow strikes! Veena tries to block, but nothing seems to work, as TLA seizes the advantage this time.
Eve: Veena quickly catches one of his arms and attempts to throw herself over, transitioning into a “Snapped” combination of submission maneuvers targeting his arm but TLA rolls through following her movement and turning Veena into a roll-up of his own!
ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Eve: Veena Adams manages to kick out just in time. She quickly pushes herself to her feet and immediately extends her lead leg at a downward angle, striking TLA’s knee stiffly with the sole of her foot!
Gavin Kirkland: TLA loses balance, and Veena follows up with another kick in rapid succession! I think this one is called Oblique Kick! That one looks like a well-known MMA move we’ve seen from fighters like Jon Jones or Carlos Condit! Veena steps back to create some distance from TLA, before swinging a roundhouse kick!
Deadprez: TLA DUCKS UNDER THE KICK, LEAPS FROM BEHIND, AND TAKES VEENA DOWN WITH A ZIG ZAG! TLA QUICKLY LIFTS ONE OF HER LEGS FOR THE COVER!
ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Deadprez: AH NO! A kick-out by Veena Adams, quickly shoving TLA’s momentum away just in time!
Gavin Kirkland: Veena’s back is hurt from the Zig Zag, and TLA is setting her up for the next move by grabbing both of her feet. Now he’s sprinting forward from where he rolled, looking to go big this time… GOING FOR THE RUNNING MEXICAN DESTROYER!
Eve: Veena allows TLA to charge through, using his own momentum to flip him over her, sending him landing on his feet! TLA misses the final blow and tries to turn around, but Veena catches him off guard in the back-and-forth exchange with a Backslide Roll-Up from behind!
ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Eve: TLA kicks out this time! The National Elite Champion sends their opponent rolling forward onto both knees and lines up a precise knee strike, aiming straight for TLA’s jaw the moment he looks up!
Deadprez: TLA catches the incoming knee just in time, tossing it aside… ONLY TO GET ROCKED BY VEENA’S DEVASTATING OVERHEAD LOOPING PUNCH! TLA stumbles back into the ropes, with Veena taking a few steps back and charging forward… SPEAR!!!
Gavin Kirkland: NO! TLA COUNTERS, SENDING THE CHAMPION DRIVING STRAIGHT INTO THE CORNER AS HE CATCHES HER AND IMMEDIATELY LAUNCHES HER OVERHEAD WITH A TIGER SUPLEX! CRASH AND BURN!
Eve: TLA reaches out for a tag, clearly worn down from the punishment he’s endured. Charlie Marr watches him closely, hesitant to make the tag despite the crowd’s overwhelming energy!
Deadprez: EAW Crowd is excited to see this! They want to see him step into the ring and take on Veena Adams! But will Charlie Marr finally do it? Is he really willing to face Veena Adams in this battle?
Gavin Kirkland: WAIT THE MINUTE! WHAT THE-?!
Eve: Maverick sprints across the ring, blocking TLA from making the tag, while Veena is already halfway to her team’s corner! Maverick quickly slides to the outside, dashes around the ringside area, and scrambles up onto the apron, reaching for the tag…
(TAG!)
Eve: TAG! VEENA MAKES THE TAG, AND CODY ENTERS THE RING! TLA has no choice but to get back on his feet and face Maverick! Cody wastes no time, going straight for the Answers World Champion with a running clothesline, taking TLA down!
Gavin Kirkland: TLA stumbles into the corner, and Cody follows, landing a series of mounted punches one after another! Maverick is on fire—The Sin City Superstar has been waiting for another chance to prove himself in this match, showing exactly what he’s made of! Maverick finally stops the punches once he feels he’s done enough and sends TLA towards the corner!
Deadprez: TLA reverses and switches positions, but Maverick halts himself at the corner, immediately leaping onto the second rope! The Sin City Superstar springboards off… PLEASE DON’T DIE! DAWGGGGGGGG! HE HITS IT! SPRINGBOARD MOONSAULT ONTO TLA BY CODY, INTO A COVER!
ONEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Deadprez: AND A KICK OUT BY TLA!
Eve: Cody has stayed on track throughout the match, managing to gain the upper hand against TLA after being tagged in. Charlie is seen trying to get back on his feet after being taken down by Maverick, who had raked his eyes earlier. Cody exits the ring, heading outside to confront Charlie himself, and SMACKS HIM HARD ACROSS THE JAW, SENDING CHARLIE STUMBLING NEAR THE BARRICADE!
Gavin Kirkland: Charlie now leans against the corner, chin up, facing Maverick, who takes a moment to warm up his hands… A KNIFE EDGE CHOP FROM MAVERICK ACROSS CHARLIE’S CHEST! The brutal chop forces Charlie to drop to both knees, delivered by his former tag team partner from Territorial Invasion!
Deadprez: Maverick turns his attention back to the match, sliding into the ring and spotting TLA, who is clutching the ropes, struggling to get back on his feet. Maverick approaches, ready to pick TLA up and continue the fight—
Gavin Kirkland: MANDIBLE CLAW! MANDIBLE CLAW! TLA SHOVES HIS HAND DEEP INTO MAVERICK’S THROAT, TRYING TO CHOKE HIM OUT, CATCHING HIM COMPLETELY OFF GUARD!
Eve: Just as the Mandible Claw is about to be fully applied, Maverick quickly uses both legs to send TLA flying with a monkey flip, breaking free from the submission hold just in time!
Deadprez: TLA stumbles to his knees but manages to push himself up as Maverick glances back at him. TLA pops back to his feet and tries to hit Cody with Swag Shot!
Gavin Kirkland: Maverick ducks under the Pimp Slap and sprints to the second rope, springboarding off with a perfect setup for a Tornado DDT!
Eve: TLA RUNS THROUGH, DUCKING UNDER THE INCOMING TORNADO DDT, NARROWLY AVOIDING DISASTER AS HE HEADS UP THE SECOND ROPE HIMSELF… AND TAKES CODY DOWN WITH HIS MOONSAULT! TLA HOOKS THE LEG FOR THE COVER!
ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Eve: TWO! Cody kicks out of the moonsault, barely managing to survive!
Charlie Marr has recovered from Cody’s earlier attack and climbs back onto the apron, ready to tag in now that he no longer has to face Veena Adams!
Deadprez: TLA starts crawling towards the corner, with Maverick hot on his heels, trying to stop him from making the tag!
Eve: TLA reaches out, desperate for the tag, but Maverick grabs hold of one of his legs, preventing him from escaping! Both men get back to their feet, with Maverick still holding TLA’s leg, pulling him in for THE DEEP END!
Gavin Kirkland: REVERSAL! OH MY GOD!
Deadprez: SHUCKY DUCKY QUACK QUACK!!!!!!!
Gavin Kirkland: TLA LEAPS OVER THE SPINEBUSTER AND COUNTERS INTO A DRAGONRANA! HOW IN THE WORLD DID HE PULL THAT OFF TO COUNTER THE SPINEBUSTER LIKE THAT?! TLA HOOKS THE LEGS FOR THE COVER! HE GOT CODY!
ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
THREE-
Gavin Kirkland: TWO! CLOSE CALL–
(TAG!)
Gavin Kirkland: – AND A TAG! TLA kicks out at two, the force of the kick-out sending him toward Charlie, who already has his hand outstretched for a tag! Maverick, still stunned by the Dragonrana, rushes forward—only to meet Charlie Marr charging out of the corner… HIGH KNEE TO THE JAW!
Deadprez: Maverick staggers, his face dropping toward the mat as Marr seizes him, hoisting him up high… FALLING POWERBOMB BY CHARLIE MARR ON MAVERICK AS A FOLLOW UP! MARR KEEPS HIM DOWN FOR THE COVER!
ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Deadprez: AND CODY STILL KICKS OUT!
Eve: Maverick must stay sharp and resilient tonight—otherwise, a main event victory against two Hall of Famers could slip through his grasp.
Gavin Kirkland: We’ve seen just how capable Maverick truly is in this match. He’s been holding his ground impressively against these formidable elitists. Marr slowly rises to his feet, while Maverick, still feeling the lingering pain from Charlie’s relentless attacks, struggles to recover. Charlie hooks both of Maverick’s arms—this could be the end!…. CHARLIE’S SETTING UP FOR THE QUEEN IS DEAD!
Deadprez: Marr is trying to lock in the Double Underhook DDT, but Maverick’s legs are shaking, throwing off Charlie’s balance as weight shift forces Marr to release Maverick, who stumbles safely toward the ropes and collapses near the corner…. BUT HERE COMES CHARLIE CHARGING IN FULL SPEED TO FOLLOW UP WITH AN ATTACK!- WOAH!
(Maverick manages to move out of the way, causing Charlie, who was aiming for Cody, to nearly knock Veena Adams off the apron. Charlie quickly raises both arms, backing off and trying to calm Veena down.)
Charlie Marr: (Off-Mic) It’s okay, it’s okay-
Eve: Cody sneaks up behind Marr, wrapping his arms around Charlie’s waist and shoving him forward, accidentally knocking Veena off the apron in the process! As Charlie stumbles from the push, Cody lifts him up… A BACK SUPLEX PLANTS MARR! CODY QUICKLY DROPS DOWN AND HOOKS THE LEG FOR THE COVER!
ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Eve: Marr kicks out at two! He’s not going down that easily! Charlie has been taking payback from Cody, and now he’s struggling to get back on his feet. Cody, sensing an opportunity to finish things, turns to face the recovering Charlie, carefully stalking him!
Gavin Kirkland: Marr might not be able to anticipate what’s coming… A KICK TO THE GUT—SIN CITY STUNNER!!!!!
Deadprez: ALMOST! Charlie shoves Maverick away just in time and stumbles into the corner, managing to tag in TLA! At the same time, Cody is pushed back toward his own corner, setting the stage for what’s next…
(SLAP!)
Deadprez: OH?! What was that for?!
Eve: Veena just slapped Cody at the corner but that counts as a tag! Veena is now entering the ring as the legal competitor!
Gavin Kirkland: Smart move!
(TAG!)
Gavin Kirkland: And Veena Adams charges straight into the ring to face TLA! TLA rushes toward the National Elite Champion, delivering a right hand across her face! Veena wastes no time striking back with a stiff calf kick, trying to wear him down, but TLA responds with another right hand! A kick from Veena! A right hand from TLA! Both competitors are going back and forth in a fast paced exchange!
Eve: Fun comes to an end as TLA attempts to land another right hand on Veena, but she swiftly ducks underneath and moves behind him, guiding his momentum in the direction he’s heading…. VEENA QUICKLY FOLLOWS UP WITH A JUMPING KNEE STRIKE STRAIGHT TO TLA’S JAW, SENDING HIM STAGGERING INTO THE ROPES!
Deadprez: AND TLA REBOUNDS OFF THE ROPES AND COMES BACK WITH A SWAG SHOT, BUT VEENA DUCKS UNDER IT AGAIN AND RUSHES TOWARD THE ROPES…. VEENA BOUNCES BACK AT TLA AND TAKES HIM DOWN BEAUTIFULLY WITH A CARTWHEEL KICK! SHE’S GOT HIM FOR THE SECOND TIME IN A ROW!
Gavin Kirkland: Veena is already on the mark, facing TLA on her own. TLA is struggling to get back to his feet after those precise kicks connected with him. Veena Adams locks her aim and charges toward TLA… SPEAR! OH, IT CONNECTS! SHE CUTS TLA IN HALF WITH THE SPEAR! SHE GOES FOR THE COVER! THIS MIGHT BE IT!!!!!!
ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!-
Gavin Kirkland: AH SO CLOSE! SO CLOSE! TLA STILL KICKS OUT AT TWO! Veena Adams wasn’t able to use her uncle’s finisher to secure the victory over TLA, but she keeps inching closer to triumph!
Eve: Veena heads straight to the top rope after the spear, and she’s climbing! TLA doesn’t seem to be getting back to his feet anytime soon, and Veena is perched on the top!… FATAL VOWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Deadprez: TLA MOVES OUT OF THE WAY! Veena Adams manages to land on her feet as TLA charges toward her… VERY MEXICAN UPPERCUT! IT TURNS VEENA INSIDE OUT! TLA crawls toward the corner, getting ready—Wait, what’s Veena doing??
(Veena, knocked down by the uppercut, quickly crawls to her corner to tag Cody. However, Cody hesitates, clearly reluctant to be tagged in.)
Gavin Kirkland: Uh… I guess Cody’s being forced into the match, which means Charlie Marr—
(TLA tries to tag in Charlie Marr, but Charlie refuses, seeing the state Veena is in.)
TLA: …?
Charlie Marr (Off-mic): What are you looking at? Get on with it already.
(TLA tags Charlie anyway.)
Charlie Marr (Off-mic): Excuse me?
(Charlie enters the ring reluctantly.)
Charlie Marr (Off-mic): I thought I made it clear I wasn’t going in just yet. You had it covered—so why are you tagging me in?
TLA (Off-mic): Get to work, amigo.
Charlie Marr (Off-mic): HEY! You don’t tell me what to do! I’m the locker room leader! Look at me—you’re not in charge here!—
(BLIND TAG!)
Veena Adams: ????
Gavin Kirkland: Oh wait—Charlie, look out behind you!
Eve: MAVERICK IS CLOSING IN FOR THE SIN CITY STUNNER ON MARR BUT Marr pushes him away! Charlie charges toward Cody and kicks him in the gut, looking to hit The Queen Is Dead!—
Gavin Kirkland: NO! CODY OUTSMARTS THE HALL OF FAMER! A SMALL PACKAGE COUNTER! CODY IS TRYING TO STEAL IT FROM CHARLIE!
ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
(DING DING DING!)
Gina Romano: HERE ARE YOUR WINNERS!… VEENA ADAMS AND CODY MAVERICK!
Deadprez: OHHHHHHHHHHHH BABY!!!!!!!
Gavin Kirkland: OH MY GOD! OH MY GOD! HE DID IT! CODY JUST ROLLED CHARLIE MARR UP, AND THE REFEREE COUNTS TO THREE! CODY AND VEENA PICK UP THE WIN!
(‘Kostas’ by Westside Gunn, Conway the Machine, and Benny the Butcher plays as Charlie Marr sits there, confused and in disbelief. Meanwhile, Cody immediately rolls out of the ring and scrambles up the walkway. He looks just as shocked, unable to believe he pulled that off. The referee rushes down to raise Cody’s arm in victory, while Veena Adams stands nearby, equally baffled by what just transpired.)
Eve: Maverick has just pulled off the impossible tonight and won his main event alongside two Hall of Famers with Veena Adams! What a shock!
Gavin Kirkland: Charlie is not happy about this, and TLA is trying to smooth things over with him right now.
(Charlie Marr stands there, shoving TLA away as TLA tries to reason with him, asking what just happened.)
Charlie Marr (Off-Mic): You’re a bloody fucking awful teammate, TLA! Why didn’t you back me up down there? We could’ve had this in the bag!
TLA (Off-Mic): You could’ve kicked out of that one.
Charlie Marr (Off-Mic): No, you stupid sod! I didn’t see it coming! When you saw it getting close to three, you should’ve jumped in at the last second and broken it up!
TLA (Off-Mic): Well, that’s on you–
(Marr is clearly frustrated with how TLA is handling the situation and is trying to start a fight. Both are staring each other down…)
(BAM!)
Gavin Kirkland: WHAT THE– SOMEONE JUST LAUNCHED THE ATTACK ON BOTH CHARLIE AND TLA, THAT…
Eve: JADED HEARTS! THEY ARE HERE!
Deadprez: What’s their problem, man!?
Gavin Kirkland: Kassidy Heart and Sienna Jade, the dominant Jaded Hearts and reigning EAW Tag Team Champions, are launching an attack on both TLA and Charlie Marr! They are beating TLA to a pulp, with Sienna taking care of TLA while Kassidy handles Charlie on her own!
Crowd: BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Gavin Kirkland: SOMEONE NEEDS TO STOP THIS!
Eve: WAIT LOOK GAVIN, SOMEONE RUNNING DOWN TOWARDS THE RING!
Deadprez: I KNOW WHO THAT IS!
(Sienna Jade notices someone has entered the ring and turns around to take them down… but it’s too late.)
Gavin Kirkland: BATMAN PUNCH!!!!!!!! BRONSON DANIELS IS HERE TO SAVE THE DAY! Kassidy Heart notices and goes after Bronson!
Eve: Bronson fights back, exchanging blows with Kassidy! Kassidy is being pushed away by Bronson, and someone else has just entered the ring by the time she gets pushed back!….
(FINAL ATONEMENT!!!!!!!!!!!!)
Deadprez: KELTON!
Gavin Kirkland: JON KELTON IS HERE! HE JUST CUTS KASSIDY IN HALF WITH A BEAUTIFUL SPEAR! ELYSIUM IS HERE TO SAVE THE DAY, SWEEPING CLEAN AND TAKING OUT THE JADED HEARTS!
Eve: SHOWDOWN IS NOT ENDING TONIGHT ON A SOUR NOTE—ELYSIUM IS HERE TO MAKE SURE OF THAT!
(Kassidy and Sienna help each other up as Kassidy holding her midsection tries to rush the ring again but her partner holds her back, Sienna pulling her and their way up the ramp, heading straight to the back. Kelton and Bronson stand tall again, watching and checking if both TLA and Charlie are okay, while keeping their eyes on Kassidy and Sienna walking away together. ‘Mr. Rager’ by Kid Cudi begins playing in the background as the final shot shows Elysium standing tall, closing off the show, watching the Jaded Hearts seething in anger as Kassidy screams toward the ring as Showdown comes to an end.)
