Showdown 1/30/21

(EAW intro plays.)

(RECAP: The recap opens with the contract signing between Jack Ripley and Bronson Daniels for King of Elite. After a war of words, the two would ultimately decide to have a falls count anywhere match at King of Elite so Bronson Daniels can finally silence the naysayers when it comes to his two victories over Jack Ripley. However, by the end, the two would agree that they needed to focus their resources on their opponents in Chained Fury that night. Afterwards, we’d transition to our first match of the night in Bashar Jackson versus Harlow Reichert. Bashar would put up one heck of a fight, but in the end, Harlow would reign supreme over him with her Great Expectations submission maneuver. Strawberry Steve went on to host the Big Berry Bhampion’s Open Challenge which was unfortunately answered by SKA. And after a little help from Deadprez, Strawberry Steve would retain his BBB Title. After that wrapped up, Harlow Reichert went on to be confronted by Ryan Wilson who believes painted her as the prime suspect of Xavier Williams’ attack. Much to the chagrin of Ryan, Harlow would once again reaffirm that she had no hand in the attack done. We’d immediately turn to a heated confrontation between Justin Windgate and Kid Ohio. Windgate would make it very clear that he is tired of Kid Ohio’s frequent attacks and that he’d vanquish Ohio at King of Elite. Ohio seemed to be unphased by Windgate’s comments and feels as if he’ll be the one walking out champion come King of Elite. Alissa Brady confronted Jon Kelton next where we’d find out that Jon Kelton’s supposed number one fan will be flown out here in two weeks to meet Jon Kelton. More action would be one the way with Jon Kelton going head to head with James Ranger while Lucas and Albert stayed ringside to do some guest commentary. Kelton would seem to have a win over Ranger in the bag, but Lucas Johnson would get involved and caused a distraction long enough for James to capitalize with an inside cradle on Kelton for the win. Lucas tried to cause more harm to Jon after the match with an attack, but he was soon fought off by Kelton who stood tall on a bittersweet note. The recently returned Raven Roberts was seen backstage with Kyra Phillips for an interview. Raven would address her King of Elite opponent, Darcy May Morgan, and promising that she’d shut Darcy up once the bell rings. Xavier Williams then went up against Justin Windgate! The duo would have a nice back and forth match that’d eventually get crashed by Kid Ohio who attacked Justin Windgate again. Xavier didn’t seem to have any interests in helping which left Ohio able to lay out Justin Windgate, and hoists the Interwire Title over his limp body, could that be the scene come King of Elite? Up next, Bethany Blue was interviewed to give an update on the condition of Alexis Chambers. She’d announce that Alexis suffered from a fractured cheekbone, swelling from a contusion, and bruising all thanks to Chained Fury. Bethany promised revenge on the duo of Ronan and Ryan, and would even challenge them to a tornado steel cage match before we were teased with the plague doctor side of Bethany Blue. Speaking of Chained Fury, they had a huge match against Bronson Daniels and Jack Ripley afterwards. Things were looking good for the duo of Ronan and Ryan but their previous problems would rear their ugly head as The Plague Doctor would flicker the lights, distracting Chained Fury which gave Ripley and Daniels a window of opportunity to capitalize and win. Jack would then attempt to You’ll Float Too his partner after the match, but Bronson would narrowly avoid it. The message being sent loud and clear from Jack Ripley there. Our main event of the evening would then come about featuring Consuela Rose Ava and Kassidy Heart battling for the spot in the finals at King of Elite. Of course, Drake King being ringside for the match as well. Drake would do his best to ruin the match but his plans would be foiled with Kassidy Heart scoring a victory over Consuela by tap out. After the match, Drake would stomp down on the lifeless body of Consuela, angry that he didn’t get his way in the main event. Drake would nail Consuela with The Overhaul as he closed out the show standing over the limp body of Ava. The recap ends.)

(“Uncontainable” by Set It Off hits as blue and white pyro explodes on top of the stage and then the blue lights and lasers shine throughout the arena as the virtual fans are cheering ready for the show to begin.)

(SCREEN BAR — EAST RUTHERFORD, NEW JERSEY!)

Eve: HELLO LADIES AND GENTLEMEN AT HOME! WELCOME TO ANOTHER EDITION OF EAW’S FLAGSHIP PROGRAM, SATURDAY! NIGHT! SHOWDOWN!!! I’M EVE JOINED AS ALWAYS BY DEADPREZ AND THE WORLD FAMOUS GAVIN KIRKLAND!

Gavin Kirkland: Show us your boobs.

Eve: What?

Gavin Kirkland: WHAT A SHOW WE GOT TONIGHT! We are inching closer and closer to King Of Elite, now two weeks away! What a main event we got tonight as our number one contender squares off against our King Of Elite representative, Kassidy Heart!

Deadprez: We also are going to be hearing from Raven Roberts! An in depth uncut interview talking about her leave, Darcy, and her future!

Eve: What are we waiting for?! It’s time to get the show on the road!

(“Fire Storm A” by Herman’s Langschwert & Wolfgang Killian begins as the virtual crowd absolutely boos at the entrance music of Ronan Malosi as he comes out with a shit eating grin on his face. Then, the music stops before playing “The Only Thing They Fear Is You” by Mick Gordon as the crowd maintains the hatred for Chained Fury as Showdown General Manager, Ryan Wilson comes out with a grin on his face as he stands next to Ronan. The two of them show a sign of solidarity as Ronan looks back at any sight of Dr. Bethany Blue, but she’s nowhere in sight. Ryan assures him that everything is fine as the two of them make their way down the ramp. The two do the title motion sign around their waists )

Gina Romano: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN…PLEASE WELCOME AT THIS TIME…”THE FUTURE EAW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS”…..CHAINED FURY!!!!

Eve: Something tells me poor Gina was forced to say that.

Deadprez: We start off this program with Showdown General Manager Ryan Wilson and Ronan Malosi who have had issues with the Maidens of Malpractice since the start of the New Year. Last week on Showdown, Dr. Bethany Blue threw out the challenge at King of Elite. The Maidens of Malpractice versus Chained Fury in a Steel Cage Tornado Match! How do you think that Chained Fury is going to respond to the challenge?

Gavin Kirkland: It can’t even happen at King Of Elite because of the announcement last night on Dynasty, but they’d be crazy to be stepped into a cage with two women who want revenge if they had a choice. You got Alexis Chambers, who isn’t so keen about what Chained Fury did to her two weeks ago. You have Dr. Bethany Blue and ‘The Plague Doctor’…oh god, do we want to know what that side is all about? :lupe:

Eve: I don’t know about you gentlemen, but I am looking forward to seeing what those two women do to Chained Fury inside a Steel Cage. We know it can’t happen at King Of Elite, but I REALLY want to see that scenario and I know it will go down somehow!

(It shows Chained Fury already inside the ring. Ryan Wilson gets a microphone for him and Ronan Malosi. Ryan’s entrance music fades as the two of them are cracking smiles on their faces, trying to keep a composure, but failing at it.)

Ryan Wilson: (in between laughs) I’m sorry, but …we need a moment…

(Ryan Wilson takes the microphone away from his mouth as he and Ronan Malosi continue to laugh their asses off.)

Ronan Malosi: (in between laughs) I swear… we’re… almost done.

(The two of them continue to laugh, much to the dismay of the EAW Universe.)

Ryan Wilson: Whew, sorry about that, but me and Ronan had just watched Dr. Bethany Blue’s video from last week, so that’s why we’re laughing to the point that we must bust a rib.

Ronan Malosi: Honestly, how in the hell we were supposed to respond to the video? Are we supposed to be scared? You think that Chained Fury is scared about a woman in a bird mask? :mjlol:

Ryan Wilson: Now, Ronan, I think the appropriate term is ‘plague mask.’

Ronan Malosi: Nah, the appropriate term is ‘bitch is batshit crazy.’ Batshit crazy enough to believe that she stands a chance against the hottest tag team in the company. We are the winning ‘Feud of the Year.’ We are two men who are as fantastic of a tag team as we are singles competitors. Alexis Chambers is nothing more than a glorified jobber. The only thing that she’s accomplished is taking part in the worst Pain for Pride match in EAW history. I didn’t think that something could take Malcolm Jones versus Chris Elite at Pain for Pride Festival, but that ‘mud wrasslin’ match takes the cake.

Ryan Wilson: There’s debate on the mental well-being of Dr. Bethany Blue. As General Manager, there is a part of me that doesn’t want to jump to conclusions —

Ronan Malosi: She’s mentally unstable, Ryan. You can put lipstick on a pig, but at the end of the day, it’s still Alexis Chambers.

Ryan Wilson: :mjlol: You said it, not me. But, as much as I would like to sit back and laugh with you, Ronan. That’s not the reason I wanted us to come out here. You see, the reason we’re out here is that as General Manager, I feel like I need for Bethany to know that her actions from last week are totally uncalled for. Her little ‘mind games’ cost us what could have been a huge victory over the Answers World Champion and the number one contender. It could have been the biggest victory of my career since pinning Ahren Fournier about a year ago. There’s no doubt that if Bethany’s interference never occurred, Ronan and myself would have turned the tides and won the match for ourselves. We’re confident in our skills to get the job done and Bethany didn’t allow for us to get the job done. Instead, she decided to let her emotions get the best of me and have ‘The Plague Doctor’ make an appearance on the titantron. Bethany threw my partner off guard. He was thrown off his game and that’s the reason why we lost the match. You would think that this little loss would make us angry and demanding to get our hands on Bethany and Alexis. It’s so convenient that Bethany threw out the challenge of a Tornado Steel Cage Match at King of Elite. You see, me and Ronan thought long and hard about this. We weighed our pros and cons, but—

Ronan Malosi: It’s not happening.

Ryan Wilson: And we wanted to accept is SO BADLY….But as you guys saw last night, our King Of Elite plans are already made. Me and Ronan here are finally going to do what we should have done at Road to Redemption, defeat those two powerful girls and become tag team champions together. Maidens are in the match too, which means we aren’t their only focus, which means we can feel safer in the environment. And damn, who even knows if Alexis is even going to make it there, so Bethany is outnumbered. So, that little revenge thing Bethany had in mind locking us inside a steel cage with the “Plague Doctor” will NOT happen!

(The virtual crowd begins to boo loudly which makes Ronan Malosi laugh.)

Ronan Malosi: You think that Chained Fury would want to step into the ring with TWO emotional fragile and unstable women inside of a cage? No, we’re being smart. We’re playing our cards right because I believe that we have better things to do than to play along with their little games. Ryan and I are above all of those childish mind games. We have two other teams in this match they have to worry about, so we won’t be on the front of their minds for revenge.

Ryan Wilson: Unfortunately, for the Maidens, everything that’s happened to them was well-deserved. Do I think there were occasions where we went too far? Personally, I didn’t want to beat Alexis to the point where she was found almost dead. All the blood makes me queasy, but at that moment, I was fueled with rage and the intentions for her to know who runs things around here.

Ronan Malosi: But, did she die?

Ryan Wilson: Well, no, but I can’t help, but believe that everything that Alexis Chambers did was well-deserved. It was because of Alexis, things went a bit too far. I get being upset that she didn’t defeat Ronan and advance to the next round of the King of Elite tournament, but was it necessary for her to attack Ronan and then me, who wanted nothing more than to mediate the situation?

Virtual Crowd: YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! YES!

Ryan Wilson: I did not want to be the enemy in this situation, but the Maidens gave me no other choice. Alexis Chambers and her action gave me no choice. We needed to give her a lesson of what happens when you meddle in our business. The kidnapping and beating of Alexis Chambers wasn’t something that I wanted to resort to. Personally, if there were other alternatives, I would have gone along with them, but when Ronan gets one of his ideas, it’s difficult to stop him. It’s difficult to stop him when he’s in the process of asserting his dominance. But, I thought that we would just get through the entire situation out of the way, but we never expected for anyone to call the police. Apparently, the fans kept calling in the East Rutherford Police Department about Alexis, which led to the investigation and made this entire thing to a whole mess.

Ronan Malosi: Y’all snitches.

Virtual Crowd: WE ARE SNITCHES! 👏🏻👏🏿👏 WE ARE SNITCHES! 👏🏻👏🏿👏

Ronan Malosi: But, no charges were placed on us, but it’s only because we know that Dr. Bethany Blue and Alexis Chambers want to get their hands on us. They want to handle their own business. But, that’s not going to happen because there are two other teams in the King Of Elite match they have to worry about.

Virtual Crowd: BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

Ryan Wilson: You really think that the Maidens have a shot at defeating us? Dr. Bethany Blue is nothing more than a mid-tier star. She will be nothing more than a cannon fodder for main event talent. She is nothing more than a good ole card filler who is being dragged down by her jobber girlfriend. Alexis Chambers is nothing more than waste of roster space. She wants to do what she can to get out of her mediocre brother’s shadow, but he’s struggling to get out of his girlfriend’s shadow. While Bethany is nothing more than a mid-tier talent, Alexis is nothing more than a glorified jobber who will NEVER be good enough to accomplish anything just like her brother who thinks that he will be a World Champion. It explains why her and Bethany are so perfect for each other. Both are nothing more than losers who will never achieve anything beyond their wildest dreams. They think that they’re entitled to a match against Chained Fury one on one? If anything, they’re entitled to a punishment. They don’t even deserve to be in the match with us at King Of Elite for the titles. The Maidens of Malpractice leave me with no other choice, but to suspend them —

(“Monster” by Skillet blasts through the speakers as the virtual crowd EXPLODES in an ovation from their chairs. HRDO, the Vice President of EAW, comes out in his typical suit. Ryan Wilson is completely cut off by the entrance music.)

Gavin Kirkland: Things just got interesting with the Vice President, HRDO, making himself noticed on Showdown.

Eve: I think that he’s out here to say something about Ryan Wilson potentially suspending the Maidens of Malpractice.

(HRDO’s music dies down as he begins to walk down the ramp with a microphone in his hands.)

HRDO: Normally, I’m just in the back. I’ve let you run the show that you do, Mr. Wilson. I’ve ignored every questionable decision that you’ve made since your tenure as an authority figure on Showdown. One of them being why in the hell you would team with Ronan Malosi after all the hell that he’s put you through for the first half of the season, but I’ve concluded that it will be something that I won’t understand for myself. But lately, I’ve stood in the back and questioned the decisions that you made.

Ryan Wilson: Like what?

HRDO: Let’s see 🤔 like you giving yourself a shot at the Unified Tag Team Championships at Road to Redemption. Or how about you trading one-half of the Unified Tag Team Champions, Sierra Bradford to Voltage? It wasn’t because you felt like she could utilize better elsewhere, but it was out of spite. You called her a piece of trash, which was unnecessary and unprofessional. I expect the authority figures on each brand to hold themselves to the highest standard possibles and that’s not something that I’ve seen from you, Ryan. OR, OR, OR, how about the one thing that was the straw that broke the camel’s back? I am talking about the whole situation with Alexis Chambers. Apparently, you’re a stickup with Ronan now. Like or hate Alexis, but no one deserves that. No one deserves to be put through that. Do you realize that we almost saved ourselves from a media firestorm that we’ve slowly tried to repair with the whole #CancelVoltage situation from last season or the whole #EmpireGate from two seasons ago? You’re lucky that Alexis Chambers decided not to place any charges on the two of you or we could have been met with potential lawsuits.

Ronan Malosi: I heard rumors it was Bethany who convinced her not to so she could get our revenge on us. :krabs: :lupe:

Ryan Wilson: As I did say, the situation did escalate a bit far. It was never our intentions to get the police involved. It’s one of the reasons why Ronan and I did not accept Bethany’s challenge for King of Elite because it will drag this entire situation. The best thing for all the parties involved was not to accept the challenge and just move forward from the entire thing and heal up and get ready for the Tag Championship match! Alexis needs to heal and she’ll need Bethany to help her cope and heal with her injuries to get ready for King Of Elite..

(The crowd begins to boo as Chained Fury nods and smiles. They consider it a victory that HRDO seems to be on the same page as them.)

Ronan Malosi: I am glad that you see things our way, HRDO.

HRDO: I’m not done here. Don’t interrupt me again, Mr. Malosi.

(The grin on Ronan Malosi’s face is wiped away.)

HRDO: You see, as you saw last night on Dynasty, the match won’t happen at King of Elite because The Maidens of Malpractice and Chained Fury are going to be added to the Unified Tag Team Championship match at King of Elite.

Ronan Malosi: HRDO knows what’s up. :drakelike:

(HRDO stares at Ronan Malosi with his cold eyes as Ronan stops and backs away.)

Ronan Malosi: Just continue. :lupe:

HRDO: That Steel Cage Tornado match won’t happen at King of Elite because it will take place…NEXT WEEK!

(The virtual EAW Universe explodes at the announcement. They are over the moon with this match up taking place next week. The grins of Chained Fury are completely wiped away from their faces as its placed with shock. Ronan Malosi looks completely scared to death and Ryan Wilson looks like he’s seen a ghost.)

Gavin Kirkland: CHAINED FURY VERSUS MAIDENS OF MALPRACTICE IS NEXT WEEK!?!??!

Eve: The looks on Chained Fury’s faces tell the entire story. They were not expecting this twist of events.

HRDO: Good luck, gentlemen.

(HRDO drops the microphone as “Monster” plays up again as Ronan Malosi is completely freaking out inside the ring. Ryan Wilson is completely frozen inside the ring with an angry look on his face. HRDO exits the ring as he makes his way up the ramp as Ronan is completely freaking out, trying to get Ryan to talk.)

Deadprez: NOW, THIS IS A WAY TO BEGIN SHOWDOWN! THIS STEEL CAGE TORNADO MATCH IS GOING TO STEAL THE FUCKING SHOW!!!!

(Commercial for Cac Demarco’s “Kristians Kac Kardio”. Unemployed, fat and out of shape? Come work out for two minutes then give up and ramble about random shit that doesn’t make sense.)

(The camera cuts over to Gina Romano standing in the ring, the virtual crowd sounds with anticipation as they realize we have another round of action next.)

Gina Romano: The following contest is scheduled for..ONE FALL!!

Virtual Crowd: ONE FALL!!

(‘All I Know’ by Da Real Gee Money blares and there’s a mixed reaction by the Virtual Crowd for Bashar Jackson who makes his way out from the curtain. Bashar looks nothing but driven before heading to the ring, perhaps focused on finally getting some momentum over to his side this week.)

Gina Romano: Introducing first! Hailing from Brooklyn, New York, weighing in at 215 pounds…HE IS ‘THE THUG’…BASHAR JACKSON!!!

Eve: Bashar Jackson is a relatively new talent here on Showdown, he’s been doing his best to find some semblance of a foothold here, but it hasn’t really been working out for him.

Deadprez: You’re right, it hasn’t. But that can serve as nothing but a driving force for wrestlers to take a step to the next level, to up their game a bit. And I think that’s what Bashar Jackson is looking to do, up his game.

Eve: Possibly, you saw the look in his eyes when he began walking down the ramp, nothing but of pure focus and determination. Something he may have been exhibiting all week as Bashar has chosen to remain silent.

Deadprez: Understandable, maybe just taking a step back to reassess his strategy. He is going up against Bethany Blue, and something seems to be a bit off with her as of late.

Eve: True, but that doesn’t mean Bashar has no chance here. Like you said, turn those losses into motivation, use the underestimation of many to your advantage, and he may just do that here.

(Bashar Jackson does some stretching in the ring while awaiting the arrival of his opponent in Bethany Blue. ‘All I Know’ is soon transitioned over to and replaced with ‘Blue Monday’ by Orgy. Bethany Blue steps out from the curtain and the atmosphere that fills the arena is of nothing but uneasiness as people don’t know exactly how to react with the attitude Bethany’s been exhibiting as of late.)

Gina Romano: And his opponent! Residing in Boca Raton, Florida, weighing in at 125 pounds…DOCTOR BETHANY BLUE!!!

Eve: You talk about there being some things off with Bethany, Deadprez? I think you’re right. It seems that the actions of Ronan Malosi and Ryan Wilson may be bringing out something new in Bethany Blue. “The Plague Doctor.” :lupe:

Gavin Kirkland: While I’m scared of this new persona, it ain’t gonna stop me from getting a fear bon-

Eve: DEADPREZ! Wanna take over?

(Eve starts hitting Gavin over the head with papers as Deadprez goes on.)

Deadprez: Ronan and Ryan may have awoken something they didn’t want to. I mean, Bethany Blue was a great competitor before, what’s she gonna do now with this aggressive edge? I’ll tell you what, I do not like Bashar’s chances here in this matchup.

(Both competitors size each other up from their opposite corners as the ref takes notice and signals for the bell!)

(DING! DING! DING!)

Eve: There’s the bell and this thing is underway! Both competitors opting to lock up here, and Bethany is able to just back Bashar into the corner. The referee is going to have to intervene and give Bethany til the count of five to release.

Referee: ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR! FI-

Eve: Bethany finally removes herself from Jackson! BUT BETHANY WITH A HUGE KICK TO THE MIDSECTION THAT DOUBLES HIM OVER! AND NOW SHE’S FOLLOWING UP WITH REPEATED FOREARM STRIKES TO THE HEAD OF BASHAR JACKSON! Referee gonna have to seperate Bethany once more, but she isn’t letting up! MORE STRIKES DONE TO BASHAR NOW, THE MAN HASN’T EVEN HAD A CHANCE TO GET OUT OF THE CORNER IN THIS MATCH UP!

Deadprez: Maybe he will now, AS BASHAR FIRES OFF ON BETHANY WITH A HUGE BACK ELBOW FROM THE CORNER! Bethany tries to go back in, BUT BASHAR FIRES WITH ANOTHER! The doctor finally staggered back after those blows! Bashar springs to the middle rope, BASHAR TAKES A HUGE RISK BY DIVING AT BETHANY BLUE!

Gavin Kirkland: Isn’t gonna pay off though! Bethany caught him, the strength of Bethany Blue! AND BASHAR GETS LAUNCHED WITH A FALLAWAY SLAM! So sexy. :shaq:

(Bethany looks back at the hurt Bashar from her seated position, and begins grasping at her head, Bethany almost fighting off the urges of the plague doctor before getting up to inflict more damage upon Jackson.)

Eve: I’m sorry, but did you guys see that?

Deadprez: Yeah, but I’m preferring to keep my mouth shut on things that I don’t understand, and that right there, I don’t understand! :lupe:

Eve: Almost as if Bethany is fighting off urges of some kind, but now it looks like she’s going to inflict more punishment on Bashar Jackson. Bethany brings Bashar back to his feet, BUT HE’S STRIKING BACK WITH PUNCHES TO THE RIBS OF BETHANY BLUE! Bashar showing some fighting spirit- BUT THE COMEBACK GETS SHUT DOWN WITH A KNEE LIFT RIGHT TO THE MIDSECTION FROM BETHANY!

Deadprez: Bethany hooks Bashar up, AND HE GETS PLANTED DOWN WITH A FISHERMAN SUPLEX! BETHANY BRIDGES ON THE MOVE AND THE REFEREE GONNA HAVE TO GET INTO POSITION!

ONNNNNEEEEEEEEE!!

TWWWWWWOOOOOOOO!!

Deadprez: KICKOUT BY BASHAR JACKSON! Don’t know if that’s a wise move or not, but he’s showcasing that he’s still in this thing! Bethany immediately pouncing on Bashar with mounted punches, and now moving to a rear chinlock! Bashar Jackson is in trouble, and he realizes it. He needs to fight back and fight back fast.

Eve: I think you’re right, Prez! Bashar Jackson finally working his way up to a vertical base! Bethany keeping that chinlock in tight nonetheless! BASHAR DRIVING THE BACK OF HIS ELBOW INTO HER STOMACH THOUGH! The grip of Bethany finally faultering! Bashar snapmares Bethany down and he finally gets her to release the hold! Bethany back to her feet though!

Deadprez: But she runs into a solid jab by Bashar! AND ANOTHER JAB! ANOTHER! BASHAR CONTINUING TO UNLOAD WITH JAB AFTER JAB AFTER JAB! Bashar doing his lil dancey dance after those strikes, certainly feeling himself! BASHAR GOES IN TO COMPLETE THE FLOSS PUNCH COMBO!! …TJD!!

Gavin Kirkland: THE SUPERKICK BY BETHANY BLUE MAY HAVE JUST KNOCKED A TOOTH OF BASHAR CLEAN OUT! I mean, did you see how high Bethany got that leg up?! :mjlit:

Eve: :wtf: Bashar Jackson is hurt, and hurt in a bad way. But Bethany is lining him up in the corner, stalking him like a predator would stalk a prey! The black glove of Bethany gets slid on, AND SHE GOES IN FOR SAY AHHHHH!!

DeadPrez: LOOK! BASHAR CAUGHT THE ARM OF BETHANY BLUE AND IS JUST DOING HIS BEST PREVENT HER FROM GETTING IN THAT MANDIBLE CLAW SUBMISSION MOVE! ..HIS ATTEMPTS ARE FUTILE AS BETHANY GETS THE MOVE IN ANYWAYS! SAY AHHH IS IN AND BASHAR GETS TAKEN DOWN TO THE GROUND WITH THAT MANDIBLE CLAW! HE’S SCRATCHING, CLAWING, DOING EVERYTHING HE CAN TO ESCAPE BUT HE EVENTUALLY SUCCUMBS TO THE MOVE LIKE EVERYONE ELSE! BASHAR JACKSON IS OUT!

(DING! DING! DING!)

Gina Romano: HERE’S YOUR WINNER…DOCTOR BETHANY BLUE!!

(Bethany takes a bit to release her hold as ‘Blue Monday’ hits, but the ref is able to soon pry her and raise her hand in victory.)

Gavin Kirkland: Wow.

Eve: Wow, indeed. Bethany Blue pretty much dominated Bashar Jackson throughout this whole thing.

Deadprez: I told you, Bashar Jackson wasn’t looking to stand much of a chance here tonight against Bethany Blue. He may have been focused, he may have been driven, but not to the level of Bethany Blue and you have to think she was imagining no one but Ronan and Ryan as she had that mandible claw submission hold hers locked in.

Eve: I hope Ronan and Ryan are watching because they have nothing but their work cut out for them dealing with a pissed off and angry Bethany Blue.

(The camera pans over to a proud Bethany on the stage but the screen starts to glitch with static and a message of “TICK TOCK” appears before going back to normal and showing Bethany Blue heading to the back.)

(The camera flickers to black before opening to Gina inside the ring.)

(The camera cuts to Gina Romano in the ring which has been set up with a black carpet and a large leather couch in the ring. Across from the large couch is a chair with a notepad sitting next to it and a shiny professional looking pen. Romano sighs as she steps into the ring and places a basket of fresh strawberries onto the table next to the couch and raises the microphone up to her lips to announce the next match.)

Gina Romano: Well another week and another weird setup in the ring. This is the kind of job I get paid for… Ahem… Ladies and gentlemen! At this time prepare yourselves for the greatest moment of your life. You are witnessing the most fighting champion that EAW has ever seen. For the third week in a row… THE BHAMP IS BERE!!! THE BIG BERRY BHAMPION HAS ARRIVED!!! STRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAWBERRRRRRRRRRRRRY STEVE!!!!!

(“Escape” by Rupert Holmes plays across the speakers as Strawberry Steve appears at the top of the ramp. He is shown wearing a professional looking suit as he makes his way down to the ring. As he steps into the ring he grabs a Strawberry from the basket and takes a bite of it before taking a seat in the comfortable looking leather chair in the ring.)

Gina Romano: I am being told that Strawberry Steve’s opponent for this week was actually the one who requested the special arrangements to be made in the ring before this match. We tried to contact Steve prior to get his approval but we did not hear a response back. Steve hopefully these arrangements are fine with you.

Strawberry Steve: *shrugs*

Gina Romano: I guess we will take that as a yes.

Eve: Strawberry Steve has been on a roll since winning the Big Berry Bhampionship. Aside from dethroning the forming champion The Woogieman, he has also recently defeated the likes of future Hall of Famers such as SKA and Christian DeMarco!

Gavin Kirkland: Some nights I lie awake wondering if this man can truly ever be stopped. But then the answer of course hits me. No. It is simply the case that no one is capable or ever will be capable of measuring up to the Big Berry Bhampion Strawberry Steve.

Deadprez: I had no choice but to get involved in his match last week against that racist piece of shit SKA. But I know deep down Strawberry Steve did not need my help at all. I don’t think my involvement in any way taints the dominance of his reign thus far. He makes all the other champions in EAW look like complete bitches in comparison.

Crowd: JA_OJSF_0aJSF)_JSA))_J)A_HF_)SAHF)_JSA)F_JSA_F)JSA)H$_)ASF_)SAHF_)ASHF_)AFSAH)_FAS

(Strawberry Steve eats another strawberry as he awaits the arrival of his opponent.)

Gina Romano: And his opponent…

Crowd: STRAWB! STRAWB! STRAWB! STRAWB! STRAWB!

(Suddenly a loud noise is heard from behind the curtains as an individual steps out to the stage with a microphone. As the sound gets closer and the man eventually steps out to the ramp it becomes clear that he is crying and appears to be in some serious distress.)

Eve: Wait is that… Could it really be?

Gavin Kirkland: It is! That’s Shaker Jones! He is out here tonight to accept the open challenge for the Big Berry Bhampionship!

Deadprez: Are you sure this man is ready to compete in a title match? He looks positively suicidal out here tonight!

Shaker Jones: I’m really sorry guys. I know that this is my big title shot and everything. I really enjoy getting an opportunity at the Big Berry Bhampionship and I plan to do my best. But mwaaaaa

(Shaker Jones begins crying uncontrollably before wiping his tears and nose on his Cheeto stained BVU t-shirt.)

Shaker Jones: I- I- I- I am just having a really bad day you guys!

Eve: Oh no. Shaker is having a bad day. You know what that means…

Gavin Kirkland: Come on we have all had bad days…

Deadprez: You don’t understand. A bad day for Shaker Jones is like the end of the world for someone like him. He will never get over this.

Gavin Kirkland: I mean mental health is a serious issue. Maybe we should here him out?

Deadprez: Yeah but this is a company that promotes professional combat sports… are you sure this is the right environment for this kind of thing?

(Shaker Jones wipes his tears with what looks to be a sticky used tissue he pulls out of his pants before climbing into the ring. Shaker lays down on top of the couch as he picks up his microphone.)

Shaker Jones: Thanks Strawberry. I am really glad that you could see me today. I know that this is an open challenge but I just really needed someone to talk to. I mean I guess we could wrestle too but I’m just not sure about all of that.

(Strawberry Steve eats another strawberry as he doesn’t appear to have even noticed that Shaker is in the ring with him.)

Gina Romano: And his opponent he is… SHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAKER JONESSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!! THIS IS FOR THE BIG BERRY BHAMPIONSHIP! GET READY FOR A REAL CLASSIC YOU GUYS!!!

(A Big Berry Bhampionship graphic appears on screen with a number of animated strawberries flying across the screen for added effect.)

(DING! DING! DING!)

Shaker Jones: Look I just wanted to come out here and clear the air with everyone. I know that my matches haven’t been that great lately. I am really sorry you guys and I guess I just suck. Haha. I mean I guess I’m just not that creative and all that. I wish I was as cool as a guy like you Strawberry Steve. I mean I have been busting my ass trying real hard and you win championships and I just don’t get those. I don’t know why either. But it really hurts when you put your everything into your matches and the other guy wins one and you KNOW you did better than him. Like for example I know that my matches are better than anything that Mr. DEDEDE puts out and yet for some reason he is considered a Hall of Famer. I am definitely a better wrestler than Chris Elite too but for some reason he is considered the leader of BVU instead of me. I just don’t get it. It seems like no matter how hard I try it is never good enough.

(Strawberry Steve picks up the notepad next to him and the pen as well. Steve lifts the pen high into the air and in a long dramatic motion he clicks the end of the pen to activate it.)

Crowd: HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT!

Deadprez: BAH GAWD ALMIGHTY! STEVE JUST STARTED USING A PEN! HE IS TAKING NOTES ON SHAKER’S MENTAL CONDITION IN THE RING! WHAT AN INCREDIBLE MANEUVER!

Shaker Jones: So yeah. Basically all of this is Ronn Banks’ fault. I mean everytime I try he just comes down on me eating my dick and bugging me and trying to make me feel bad for even trying. I do everything right and he just shits on me for no reason. I hate it here.

Eve: Why did you come back then?

Gavin Kirkland: Shh Eve. Shaker is really working through some things right now. You can’t relate.

Shaker Jones: Basically Ronn Banks ruined my entire life by bullying me into a suicidal state. I think of hanging myself everyday because of the mean things he said about my promos. I’m really sorry that my promos were not good enough for you Ronn. I’m really sorry that you didn’t understand my genius. That the things I write… they come from the heart. I don’t always think what I write I just write that shit. Sometimes when I go backstage to get some love and support nobody is even there. One time I went into the women’s locker room and they all just ran out screaming and covering themselves up with their towels. I mean does everyone around here hate me this much? Where is the love for Shaker? What do I do? I thought this was support to be a supportive community not one where people shit on you for having feelings. That’s my problem I guess. I just FEEL so strongly.

(Shaker Jones sits up on his couch and approaches Gina Romano in the corner of the ring. Gina looks frightened as Shaker backs her up with his hands outstretched mimicking squeezing motions.)

Shaker Jones: Come on Gina. Show some support for Shaker. I have had a really bad day but like I just said. I have feelings. I FEEL so strongly. Let me FEE-

(Gina Romano slaps the shit out of Shaker Jones knocking him down to the mat. Gina quickly rolls out of the ring to escape as Shaker lies on the mat crying.)

Shaker Jones: WHY? WHY WON’T ANYBODY LOVE ME? I AM NOT A CRY BABY I JUST HAVE ANXIETY! WHY IS THAT SUCH A CRIME? I JOINED EAW… BECAUSE I THOUGHT THAT THERE WOULD BE SOMEONE… ANYONE WHO COULD HELP ME WITH MY ANXIETY!!!

Gina Romano: GET THE HELL AWAY FROM ME YOU SICK PERVERT! THIS IS A WRESTLING COMPANY! WE ARE FIGHTERS NOT COUNCILLORS!

Shaker Jones: Fighters? Easy for you to say when you are strong enough to actually fight. Unlike you I have to deal with my depression hitting me like a wave. Just like it is right now! I just don’t know what I should do. When I come out here to have a match it takes absolutely everything out of me mentally. I am just done. When I watch the show back on replay and see that I lost… AGAIN! It just makes me want to jump off a bridge.

Eve: At this point we would like to remind our viewers that if you are ever having suicidal thoughts you should call the following hotline: 800-273-8255

Gavin Kirkland: We should also let our viewers know that there is no shame in having depression, anxiety, or any other mental health issues but you should get the help you need instead of using a professional wrestling company as your lifeline of support. Believe it or not guys like Jake Smith, Drake King, Xander Payne, and Chris Elite are not licensed medical health professionals. Chances are they will make your condition much worse.

Shaker Jones: You know what… you are right Gina. This is a place to fight. I am going to fight. I am going to make you all FEEL. I am going to make you all FEEL the way I have felt through all of the matches I have lost. You are all going to feel like Shaker Jones when I get through with you. I won’t be the one with depression anymore! You will! And you know what? When you come crying to me for support… I will tell you all to go fuck yourself! Starting with you Steve. Sitting there silently. Eating your strawberries and doodling in that notebook. I came to you… opened my heart and you didn’t have any words of encouragement. No support! You are supposed to make me feel better about myself Steve. But now… I am going to make sure you feel nothing at all after I paralyze you!

(Shaker walks up to Strawberry Steve and slaps him across the face. Steve’s sunglasses go flying across the ring. Shaker rips the notebook out of Steve’s hands and looks at what he has been drawing.)

https://i.ytimg.com/vi/9S0mRNdoIl8/hqdefault.jpg

Shaker Jones: WHAT IS THIS? YOU ARE LAUGHING AT MY DEATH? CALLING ME A BOZO? WHAT THE HELL ARE THESE EMOJIS? WHAT IS THIS? YOU SON OF A BITCH! SHOW ME SUPPORT DAMMIT! SAY NICE THINGS ABOUT ME OR I WILL KILL YOU! I AM GOING TO KILL EVERYONE HERE AND MAKE THEM SUFFER FOR NOT SUPPORTING ME! YOU ARE ALL HERE TO HELP ME! YOU ARE ALL HERE TO LISTEN TO MY PROBLEMS AND FIX THEM FOR ME DAMMIT! SHUT THE HELL UP!

Crowd: YOU SUCK! YOU SUCK! YOU SUCK!

Shaker Jones: No… NO!!!!!! I AM HEARING THEM… The voices… AHHHH

Deadprez: STRAWBERRY STEVE FROM BEHIND!!! WATCH OUT SHAKER!

Eve: THE BUBBLE WRAP SLAP!!! STEVE SLAPS THE SHIT OUT OF SHAKER WITH THAT BUBBLE WRAP ON HIS HAND!

Gavin Kirkland: DOWN GOES SHAKER! DOWN GOES SHAKER! DOWN GOES SHAKER! THE COVER!

Referee: ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!! TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!! THRRRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(DING! DING! DING!)

Gina Romano: Here is your winner… and STILLLLLLLL THE BIG BERRY BHAMPION… STRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAWBERRRRRRRRRRRRY STEVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(‘Escape’ by Rupert Holmes hits as the referee hands Strawberry Steve the Big Berry Bhampionship. This time seemingly finally realizing he has no choice but to take it. Steve holds the title limply in his arms until he has it raised by the referee at which point it drops to teh mat. The referee picks it back up and puts it safely on top of his shoulder hooking it under his armpit for extra safety.)

Deadprez: LOL RIP BOZO :joy:

Eve: Shaker Jones looks like he just lost another match.

(Shaker Jones is shown having a mental breakdown in the ring as the production truck repeatedly airs his loss on the monitor.)

Shaker Jones: All I wanted was your support. Why were you never here for me? You never helped me when I needed you most!

(Strawberry Steve reaches down to Shaker and gives him a hand.)

Shaker Jones: Does this mean we are friends?

(Steve helps Shaker up and puts an arm around his shoulder. He takes him out of the ring and to ringside where he brings Shaker to a number of people dressed in suits with warm smiles.)

Professional: Good evening Shaker. My name is Doctor Sanchez and I am a professional psychiatrist. We are going to need you to come with us. We will get you the help that you need.

Shaker Jones: What the fuck is this shit? Steve? You’re kidding right?

(Strawberry Steve turns away to walk up the ramp not even looking back at Shaker.)

Shaker Jones: STEVEEEEEEEEEE STEVE NO! STEVE DON’T LET THEM TAKE ME AWAY!

Professional: Please Mr. Jones calm down. We just want to talk. We are going to be there for you. To support you and encourage you. Help you work threw all your issues and you are going to be much happier about it.

Shaker Jones: Go fuck yourselves. I don’t want your help. I want my emotional support from a bunch of big sweaty men in a pro wrestling locker room! You can’t help me! Only they can!

Professional: Calm down Shaker. It’s going to be all right.

(Suddenly Shaker jumps the barricade and begins to run away but he is tackled by a couple large men in black suits. He is given a tranquilizer before being dragged away out of the arena.)

Gavin Kirkland: He is in a better place now :wow:

(The camera cuts to a commercial featuring @Robert94543592 professing his love for Kassidy Heart and reminding her that any other man but him is the wrong one for her.)

(The camera pans backstage to see Kyra Phillips smiling.)

Kyra Phillips: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome my guest at this time, he is the number one contender for the Interwire Championship…KID OHIO!

(Kid Ohio steps into the frame with that smug cocky look on his face.)

Kyra Phillips: Now, first off I just wanna get your though–

Kid Ohio: Thoughts on what? Cat got your tongue there?

???: Get out of harm’s way Kyra.

(Kid Ohio turns around to see Justin Windgate elbow him in the face taking him down to a knee.)

Justin Windgate: (no mic): You wanna keep attacking me from behind? You thought I was just gonna stand idly by and let you pull this shit?!

(Justin Windgate picks up Kid by the hair, and then throws him into a pile of poles standing up against show equipment.)

Justin Windgate: I told you ass you were going to think twice about attacking me from behind. And right now, you’re going to realize just who in the hell you’re stepping into the ring with at King Of Elite! This isn’t an opportunity for you Kid, this is your slaughtering!

(Justin then runs and rams his knee into the face of the sitting Kid Ohio against a production crate.)

Justin Windgate: You done pissed off the wrong person, “kid.”

(Justin bends down and looks eye to eye with Kid, who seems out of it loopy at the second.)

Justin Windgate: The games…are over.

(Justin grabs Kid’s head, and bashes it against the crate repeatedly from the back. He then grabs his Interwire Championship and holds it to the face of Kid Ohio.)

Justin Windgate: Take a good look. This is the closest you’re ever going to get to this championship. Your fifteen minutes of fame in the championship picture comes to an end at King Of Elite courtesy of Justin Windgate.

(Justin exits the scene leaving medical personnel to attend to Kid Ohio as the scene fades.)

(Commercial for EAW’s Doritos contest. Check the code and see if you won on each bag you buy. Win and you get a date with Candice Blair!)

(Showdown opens back up to Gina Romano standing in the ring.)

Gina Romano: The following contest is scheduled for ONE FALL!!

Virtual Crowd: ONE FALL!!!

(‘Smoke and Drive (Remix)’ by Machine Gun Kelly plays over the sound system of World1 Theatre as Justin makes his way to the ring with all the confidence in the world and the Interwire Championship on his shoulder.)

Gina Romano: Introducing first! From Detroit, Michigan! Weighing in at 225 pounds! He is The Interwire Champion! The XTreme Classic! JUSTIIIIN WINDGAAAAAAATE!

Gavin Kirkland: Here comes the Champ!

Deadprez: In a heated battle against an emerging Kid Ohio, Justin looks ready for the challenge ahead of him tonight!

Eve: He sent a huge statement to Kid Ohio earlier in the backstage area. You have to think he doesn’t have to worry about the threat of Kid Ohio sneaking up on him  tonight, but you never know.

(‘If You Smell’ by Adam Massare plays next over the sound system as the former Big Bhoogie Bhampion makes his way to the ring!)

Gina Romano: Annnnd His Opponent! From Jacksonville, Florida! Weighing at 260 pounds! THE WOO-GIE-MAAAAAAAAAAAN!!!!

Gavin Kirkland: About time he decided to try and fight for something better than the Triple B Championship!

Deadprez: He made some interesting comments this week for sure! Is this the beginning of the rise of the Woog? We will see! This should be interesting!

(Ding! Ding! Ding!)

Eve: And this match is officially underway! A bit of trash talking to start off this battle between the two men in the center of the ring followed by a clinch attempt by Woog which is ducked by Justin. Windgate follows through with an MMA style kick ducked by Woog before some more trash talking is thrown in by the XTreme Classic. Woogieman is not impressed as his opponent does some ropeadope arrogantly in front of him. Clinched by the two men and headlock by Windgate that is broken off against the ropes by Woog who then whips Justin into the ropes but throws Woog down with a stiff shoulder block. Clinch again, won by Justin Windgate, broken off again and another stiff block sending the creator of the Big Woogie Championship down! Justin looks confident  as the Woog gets up fast. Clinched third time by Windgate going to a knee forcing Woog along with him with a headlock toying a bit with Woog but he throws in a few jabs to the ribs trying to break the hold which he does! JW goes for a third shoulder block! The woog goes down again and Windgate flips him the bird! Woog a bit annoyed getting up, Justin charges at him then sends him flying with a hip toss counter! Windgate gets up and is greeted with another and a third! Windgate gets up again and goes to Woog’s face both are foul mouthing each other and then Woog steps back giving him the Bring It gesture with a hand! JW flips him the bird in response followed by a smack to the face!

Gavin Kirkland: Woah!

Eve: Woog goes on the offense with a series of fists to the face sending the Interwire Champion against a corner! Windgate drops to the mat and rolls outside of the ring for a breather. The action transitions to outside the ring as Woog whips Windgate against the barricade with force! Justin smacks hard against it but gets up from the bounce back only to get clipped by a strong clothesline by Woog! He has the momentum for now as he grabs Justin by the head and moves him near our announcer table and smacks his head on top of it! Justin is laid half on the table as Woog drives a quick elbow down the chest of the Champion! Windgate goes for a rake to the eyes as Woog was about to get him in the ring. The XTreme Classic walks inside the ring waiting for Woog to go in and welcomes him back with a clothesline! Don’t go anywhere folks! We will be right back!

(We see Ronan Malosi in an Applebees’ ad.)

Eve: Welcome back to the show folks, Windgate versus Woogieman is still ongoing as the Interwire Champion goes for a neckbreaker followed by a cover!

Referee: One! Two!

Gavin Kirkland: Another shoulder up by Woogieman!

Eve: Windgate once again with a sleeper hold keeping down the former BBB Champion! He almost fades out this is not looking well for the Woog but look he is fighting back up! For a third time he fights out of the move and whips Justin into the corner! Flurry of fists from the former Champion before Justin suddenly ducks one, slides by Woog’s side and drives a high knee to his back! Windgate takes a breather as Woog is seated in the corner looking dazed. Justin goes to the opposite side, measures his opponent and runs for a high knee to the face of a wozy Woog! He goes down on the ground. JW moves to the top turnbuckle, he will go airborne! Flying elbow connecting the elbow through the heart of Woogieman !

Official: One! Two!

Deadprez: Kickout!

Eve: The Interwire Champion unloads with some fists to the face of Woog in a mounted position atop of Woogiman! Justin gets up into the ropes going for a clothesline but Woog counters with a Samoan Drop! Both men are down!!

They both are slow to get up, Woog moves close to Justin, throws in a fist! Windgate backs against the ropes then moves to Woog throwing a fist as well! Woog throws another one! Followed by Justin! Then Woog! And Justin! They are throwing haymakers at each other!! Woog starts to get the upper hand throwing in more than the Interwire Champion! Both go into opposite ropes and ducks each other! He is quickly back to his feet and measures up Justin! The Woog is in the groove!! Stalking Justin behind him as he gets up slowly! Referee: One! Two!

Deadprez: The Champion lifts the shoulder! That was close!

Gina Romano: The winner of this bout! The Xtreme Classic! JUSTIIIIIIN WINGAAAAAAAAAATE!!!!

Gavin Kirkland: What a match by both men! The Woogieman delivered a strong performance despite the loss, he should be proud of himself.

Eve: And Justin looks around and sees no Kid Ohio attacking him from behind like in his previous matches. I guess that attack backstage earlier tonight worked.

Deadprez: Justin meets Kid Ohio in two weeks for his Interwire Title, and he gets the win tonight, congrats to Justin!

(The camera opens to see Kyra Phillips smiling.)

Kyra Phillips: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome my guest at this time, “The Bird Of Prey”….Raven Roberts!

(Raven nods at Kyra sitting six feet across from her.)

Kyra Phillips: Thank you for taking the time to join me.

Raven Roberts: My pleasure, Kyra.

Kyra Phillips: First off, I know you discussed it briefly when you came back, but now’s your chance to go in depth about everything in your journey. I just wanna rewind back to Pain for Pride…the roller coaster of emotions you went through. Everything both professionally…and personally Minerva put you through. But I wanna focus on the match itself. How did it feel to come up short in regaining the title? Does that match and result carry over to you in the current day in some way?

(Raven’s eyes narrow as she looks at Kyra for a quiet moment, almost sizing up the question being asked. After a few seconds, she rolls her eyes and lets out a sigh.)

Raven Roberts: People seem to consistently want to link back to that. Not to be rude Kyra, but you didn’t really bring me on here to ask me the same question I’ve been asked privately and publicly for the last seven months, did you? The fact is that life is a journey. Plain and simple. At this point that match effects me as much as losing in my debut match. It effects me as much as losing my first try at Cash in the Vault. It’s a lesson learned the hard way, as much of my life has been. Minerva got to me, yeah. We already had a history in our matches. And yet she felt the need to reveal something incredibly private and sensitive. And against all my instinct and training, it got to me. And I went down a darker path. But that’s what I discussed before Territorial Invasion. That’s what I discussed when I returned. What’s done is done. You can’t change the past. You can only move forward. So I learn from what I go through, and now I’m here to focus on the next chapter.

Kyra Phillips: You don’t have to answer this if you don’t want to, but I was just wondering along with everybody else how you and Rex are handling the news that was revealed about you last season?

(Raven stares at Kyra once more, slightly turning her head to the side as though she wonders if Kyra can take a hint or not.)

Raven Roberts: No. I don’t have to answer that. But I suppose if I don’t, then I’ll just be pointlessly asked over and over again. What Minerva did exposed a very painful wound in my life. And she faced no repercussion for breaking into my home and putting my private business on international television because those in charge of this company drool over that Jerry Springer level bullshit. That’s why the chairman can be the abusive and manipulative man that he is. That’s why so many horrific things have happened to many other elitists over the years. But as far as it runs into my personal life, it’s exactly that. Personal. I won’t pretend that part of why I needed to take time for myself was to deal with the toll the news took on my mental health. To allow myself to heal. For Rex and myself to address what it meant for our marriage. And now we are in a much better place for taking that time. And the truth is, there has been even more news given on the situation since it was put out there last year. But that… will remain private for the time being.

Kyra Phillips: Okay, fast forward to Territorial Invasion. Consuela chose you for her team cause she trusted you dating back to the Beating Hearts of Voltage days. And it was easy to tell, you weren’t in the right state of mind both in your video, and in the ring when the match happened. What was going through your mind at the time?

Raven Roberts: There wasn’t really anything going through my mind. Basic instincts and reactions was all. I wanted to be there for my friend, but we all knew I wasn’t really present. I was checked out. I was ready to step away even back then. I didn’t prepare for anyone in the contest. I didn’t really care who else was there. I was just going through the motions.

Kyra Phillips: Was that match the final straw when you thought to yourself you needed to take time away?

Raven Roberts: No. I knew well before then that I needed time away. I think that’s part of why I was so checked out. To peel the curtain back a little, my contract was expiring the week after Territorial Invasion. They sent me updated offers to sign a few times in the months building up. But I never opened them. They’re probably in a junk drawer back at the house somewhere to be honest. I just knew that I wasn’t going to be around for a bit. And from there I guess it was like a kid in school who knows summer vacation is right there. I let it go. I didn’t care. I wanted to care. But I didn’t. I can’t even tell you who aside from my own team was in that match back then. I know I eliminated someone before I went out. But I couldn’t even tell you who pinned me or who I pinned. That’s how checked out I was. I don’t know if there was a true final straw. I think it was more a cumulative thing. I’d had weeks without matches here and there throughout my career but ever since joining REVOLT! years ago I’d never really been on the shelf for any extended period. Hell, I prided myself on being someone that didn’t ever take a break. But I’m not going to return claiming that I just had some sudden injury and I was only gone long enough to heal. I had a few minor lingering injuries as anyone in our sport does after and real time in active competition. And if you look at my fluctuating emotional state over the last couple years, I think it ended up for the better that I take the time to sort my mind out. But it wasn’t about a single moment. I think it was just time. Sometimes in life you actually just need a break. You need to figure things out. I clung to an unhealthy mindset of never sitting back, never stopping to breathe because I didn’t want to “lose my spot” per se. But I just reached a point where I knew I needed it. And nothing was going to be right until I took it.

Kyra Phillips: Well, fast forward to now, and the Bird Of Prey is back and better than ever as you claim. When was the moment you decided you were ready to come back?

Raven Roberts: Well I’m sorry to disappoint but kind of like my previous answer, there wasn’t some moment where a lightbulb went off in my head. As time went on, my body felt better. My mind felt better. I was actually able to let myself heal in more ways than one. I broke away from wrestling as a whole. Even now I’m still getting back into the habit of watching all the hours of content our company puts out each week. But I always missed being in the ring. I always missed performing. I gave myself some new experiences, I did a lot of just experiencing life while I was gone and did some things many probably wouldn’t even believe. But eventually I just knew it was time to come back.

Kyra Phillips: When you came back at King Of Elite, you threw out an open challenge to anybody. The next night. Darcy May Morgan accepted it. You defeated Darcy in No Way Out, and since then, Darcy’s been on a roll, winning Cash in the Vault, and being on a roll since Road to Redemption. Are you as confident stepping into the ring with Darcy as she is the same way you were back at Fighting Spirit?

Raven Roberts: If I wasn’t confident stepping in the ring with anyone in this company, I wouldn’t have stepped out there asking for someone to step up for a match. Darcy was just the first to accept.

Kyra Phillips: You took a shot at Darcy the other week laying her out. Were you trying to send a message or did she just have it coming?

Raven Roberts: You can call it whatever you like. But I prefer to think of it as a reality check more than anything. She’s been on a great roll this year. And she’s risen to shine in this company as a star. But one thing that does get me is this notion that she “almost won” back at No Way Out. That’s the citation, right? She talks about unfinished business with me because of that match. And has pushed this notion that she had the match in the palm of her hand and I just barely won it from her. Let’s assume for a moment that when I had Kensington in the Aviary that she didn’t immediately squeal and scream and cry like she just stormed the Capitol Building and was surprised that the police would dare pepper spray her. Let’s assume Darcy had managed to break the hold before Miss Astor tapped out. What would have happened?

(Kyra looks confused, so Raven proceeds.)

Raven Roberts: The match would simply have continued. This notion of “I almost won and that somehow gives me some unfinished business against Raven” is built entirely on a delusion. Even if she’d broken my hold, she still would have had to do something to actually end the match before any one of the five other women in the match could get there. It was six of us fighting for the right to main event Pain for Pride. Darcy fought like hell that night. I even praised her myself on social after the match. But there is no such thing as “almost won” in EAW. In all of wrestling really. She didn’t have someone else pinned while Kensingten tapped. She had nothing aside from a desperate dive to try and break a hold. Maybe she would have won if she’d broken it. Then again, maybe someone else would have. Don’t take a performance you were praised for and twist it into some inane notion that you were robbed of something you never had a real claim to in the first place. So I gave Darcy that reality check. A reminder that it wasn’t some fluke that I won that fight.

Kyra Phillips: Any last words for Darcy before King Of Elite?

Raven Roberts: Get your head on straight. Stop with the delusions. I don’t give a shit what you’ve done since No Way Out. I want to see the next level of Darcy May Morgan. I want to see what she’s still got in store. Show me the Leading Lady. Or I’ll show you the bottom of my boot.

Kyra Phillips: Okay Raven, before I let you go, I just want to know besides defeating Darcy, what are your other goals for the rest of the season and beyond?

Raven Roberts: I know a lot of people expect me to talk about finishing the Grand Slam or winning the Grand Rampage or even trying to become World Champion again and get another Pain for Pride main event. But it’s nothing like that. Those would all be nice. They’d all be amazing actually. But I’m here to fight. Nothing more. Nothing less. I have no firm goals. I just want to do what I love and love doing it again. I took time away. I’m under no misconception that my place here was held for me. If I’m given opportunities, then thank you. But I’m ready and willing to earn them all over again if I must.

Kyra Phillips: Well, this was very interesting. Thank you for joining me here tonight Raven. I mean it when I say we are thrilled to have you back, and I wish you the best of luck against Darcy at King Of Elite and the rest of the season.

Raven Roberts (nodding her head): Thank you.

(The scene fades elsewhere.)

(The scene fades backstage, to see Jon Kelton warming up for his tag team match later on tonight. It then focuses on Jon doing high knee exercises.)

???: Sorry to interrupt.

Jon Kelton: What do you want?

(Showdown consultant Alissa Brady enters the scene holding her phone looking at it.)

Alissa Brady: I just came by to wish you luck out there tonight in your big tag team match.

Jon Kelton: Thanks, but I don’t need any luck.

Alissa Brady: Really? Not even from your…NUMBER ONE FAN?!

(Jon Kelton shakes his head at that response.)

Jon Kelton: What do you mean?

Alissa Brady: Well, when I was talking with her to get her flight arrangements and such for next week, we exchanged phone numbers and got to texting. She’s really excited to be here next week to meet you and she wanted me to pass along a message to you.

Jon Kelton: Again, I never asked for this, and I never told you to fly a random fan out here in the middle of a fucking pandemic. What are you trying to pull on me Alissa?

Alissa Brady: Why would you accuse me of such a thing? I’m just trying to bring you and this “London” girl together.

(Jon rolls his eyes.)

Alissa Brady: And I quote here on my phone…”Jon, I know you lost last week, but you and I both know that you are going to use that to fuel you in your match tonight, even though you’re dragging dead weight that is Lucas Johnson by your ankles. Lucas has his backup but don’t fear, we will meet next week and I look forward to seeing you in person and being the guardian angel you desperately need. I know you don’t want me there or to meet me very much, but this means a lot to me, and I know it will to you down the line because of the moment we met. This is going to work out great for both of us and you’re going to not regret agreeing to meet me. I look forward to meeting you in person. I hope you are as cute as you are on TV. Good luck in your tag team match tonight, I’ll be rooting for you like I always do! See you next week! 😘”

(Alissa puts her phone away as she touches her heart with her right hand.)

Alissa Brady: I think you and London are really gonna hit it off next week.

Jon Kelton: I have a match.

Alissa Brady: You’re excited but you don’t want to admit it.

Jon Kelton: (From a distance) Not really.

Alissa Brady: He’s excited. I’m such a sucker for romance!

(The camera pans back to ringside once more to see Gina in the ring.)

(“Red Eye” by NBA Youngboy plays as Jon Kelton walks out with a focused look on his face. He’s not too keen on who his tag team partner is, but he’s willing to do anything for the victory.)

Gina Romano: THE FOLLOWING MATCH IS SCHEDULED FOR ONE FALL —

Virtual Crowd: ONE FALL!!!!!

Gina Romano: INTRODUCING FIRST…FROM TORONTO, ONTARIO, CANADA…WEIGHING IN 210 POUNDS… HE IS “THE CHOSEN ONE” … JON KELTON!!!!

Gavin Kirkland: Jon Kelton has been in a bit of a rivalry with Lucas Johnson since Lucas cost him a chance to face Jack Ripley for the Answers World Championship. Perhaps, there was a part of him that believed that he should be fighting for the Answers World Championship. Instead, he is going to be dealing with Lucas Johnson in a Street Fight.

Eve: Things may have not panned well for Jon Kelton, but he must be more than excited to get his hands on Lucas Johnson at King of Elite and put this matter with him to rest.

Deadprez: Since losing the 24/7 Contract at Reasonable Doubt, Jon Kelton has been on a mission to prove that he’s never needed the contract. He wants to prove himself to be the talent that is able to really get his accomplishments without any sort of short cut. In this match, he is going to need to learn to cooperate with Lucas Johnson or he’ll find himself in the losing end of this match.

(“Young and Bitter” by Hot Media tag plays, replacing “Red Eye” as Lucas Johnson walks out with a more than focused look. His eyes are focused at Jon Kelton, who is already in the ring.)

Gina Romano: INTRODUCING HIS PARTNER…FROM LONG ISLAND, NEW YORK…WEIGHING IN 210 POUNDS… HE IS “THE BLUEPRINT” … LUCAS JOHNSON!!!!!

Gavin Kirkland: Lucas Johnson is the reason why Jon Kelton is not facing Jack Ripley for the Answers World Championship at King of Elite. Lucas needed to make a statement after things not going his way these past couple of months. He did that at the expense of ‘The Chosen One’ and Jon is not a happy camper.

Eve: The big elephant in the room is about Lucas Johnson and whether he’s doing enough to elevate himself out of the position that he’s in on Showdown. Honestly, I wouldn’t think so. I just think that something’s not clicking with him, but perhaps, that can all change if he manages to defeat Jon Kelton in the Street Fight. He needs that one statement win that lets the entire locker room know that he hasn’t peaked. He hasn’t plateaued and King of Elite may do that for him.

Deadprez: I feel like if you push the right buttons with Lucas Johnson, you will get his best work. It can’t be just one good week with Lucas. It needs to be consistent. It needs to be consistent every week until he has proven himself to be someone who can be a champion once again.

(“Fire Storm A” by Herman’s Langschwert & Wolfgang Killian plays as Ronan Malosi comes out. He looks behind him in paranoia that Dr. Bethany Blue could pull something in this match. A moment later “The Only Thing They Fear Is You” by Mick Gordon plays as Ryan Wilson comes out. The two men look as united as ever. Ryan tries to calm down Ronan and have him focus on this match.)

Gina Romano: INTRODUCING THEIR OPPONENTS…AT THE COMBINED WEIGHT OF 500 POUNDS…THEY ARE THE TEAM OF “THE HOT TAKES KING,” RONAN MALOSI AND THE GENERAL MANAGER OF SHOWDOWN, RYAN WILSON…CHAINED FURY!!!!

Gavin Kirkland: Can you find any duo in this company that is more hated than them? These two are soaking up the hatred that this crowd has for them. I think this crowd completely turned on them after their kidnap and assault on Alexis Chambers that basically left her for dead.

Eve: I’m surprised that neither of these men are in jail, but one of the reasons must be because The Maidens of Malpractice want to be able to get their hands on Chained Fury and put an end to them. Let’s not forget that they have a huge tag team tornado match to focus on next week! After that, both teams have a shot of becoming Unified Tag Team Champions at King of Elite!

Deadprez: These two men are the complete scum of the earth and they know it. They are looking to get some momentum on their side after falling short in defeating Answers World Champion Jack Ripley and number one contender Bronson Daniels.

Gavin Kirkland: And with Dr. Bethany Blue lingering in the background, Chained Fury are going to need to have their head on a swivel as they focus on this match!

(DING! DING! DING!)

Eve: It seems like we’re going to start things off with Ryan Wilson from Chained Fury and Lucas Johnson from his team with Jon Kelton. This is kinda an interesting match up. Last season, it seemed like these two were in an alliance, but that seemed to fall apart this season. One of the reasons was that Ryan believed that Lucas wasn’t pulling his weight or stepping up on Showdown. That seemed to be the talk of the town as of late.

Deadprez: The two Elitists lock up, but it’s Lucas Johnson that manages to get the Showdown General Manager by his wrist and apply a wrist lock on him, but Ryan Wilson manages to counter the wrist lock, but Lucas manages to twist himself around before wrapping his arms around Ryan before lifting him up for a deadlift German suplex, but Ryan manages to maintain his feet flatly on the mat! He manages to get Lucas’ arms and rip them off his waist as that separates the two men! Ryan rushes towards Lucas with a forearm, but Lucas manages to duck the forearm before getting the General Manager and connecting with a double knee backbreaker!

Gavin Kirkland: Lucas Johnson finds himself to his feet as he charges towards Ryan Wilson before nailing him with a sliding forearm! This knocks Ryan to his back before going for the cover!

ONE!

Eve: Ryan Wilson manages to kick out, but Lucas Johnson quickly applies a headlock on him! He manages to drop himself to one knee as he maintains the headlock! He begins to wrench in the headlock, which applies more pressure onto Ryan’s neck! Ryan manages to push Lucas for a small second, but Lucas manages to knock Ryan down with a clothesline! The clothesline sends Ryan to one knee as Lucas proceeds to give a shoot kick to the back of Ryan’s head, which sends him forward! But, Lucas steps on the back of Ryan Wilson’s neck before rebounding himself off the horizontal set of ropes in front of Ryan and taking him down with a basement dropkick!

Deadprez: Lucas Johnson gets on top of the Showdown General Manager and proceeds to punch him in the face! Do you think that Lucas has something to prove to Ryan Wilson? I mean, Ryan Wilson did toss him to the side after he found that Lucas wasn’t performing up to his standards.

Gavin Kirkland: Ryan Wilson is all about ‘you work hard and you’ll be rewarded.’ He may not believe that Lucas Johnson was working all of that hard, but Lucas may be going into the match to prove everyone wrong. He manages to get Ryan up by one of his arms before whipping him into the horizontal set of ropes! But, Ryan manages to catch himself on the ropes, preventing himself from rebounding off of them, BUT LUCAS RUSHES TOWARDS HIM, NAILING THE GENERAL MANAGER WITH A KNEE STRIKE TO THE FACE! LUCAS COUNTERS THAT WITH A RUNNING BULLDOG! LUCAS GETS TO HIS FEET BEFORE STOMPING ON THE SIDE OF RYAN’S FACE! HE STICKS HIS HAND OUT AS JON KELTON TAGS HIMSELF INTO THE MATCH!

Referee: TAG!

Eve: He is the former Mr. 24/7 before he lost the contract to Justin Windgate at Reasonable Doubt. Since then, Jon has the need to REALLY prove to himself that he never needed the contract and that he’ll get his first championship since his return to this company over a year ago. LUCAS STILL HAS HIS BOOT PRESSED AGAINST RYAN’S FACE AS JON MANAGES TO GET HIMSELF ON THE TOP ROPE! FROM THE TOP ROPE, HE CONNECTS WITH AN ELBOW DROP TO THE CHEST OF RYAN WILSON BEFORE GOING FOR THE COVER!

OOOOONNNNNEEEEEE!!!!

TTTTTTTWWWWWOOOOO!!!!

Deadprez: RYAN WILSON WITH THE KICK OUT! But, one of the things that you have to be on a look out for is Ronan Malosi who keeps looking at the top of the stage. To say that he’s not worried about Dr. Bethany Blue making her presence felt in this match would be an understatement, but boy, just look at his face! He’s worried out of his damn mind! Meanwhile, Jon Kelton is inside the ring with Ryan Wilson, who seems to find himself on the receiving end of this beating. Jon hoists up Ryan up to his feet before running towards the corner! Jon begins to shoulder thrust Ryan against his ribs!

Gavin Kirkland: Ryan Wilson finds himself sliding to a seated position, but Jon Kelton manages to pick himself up to his feet before nailing him with some boxing combination punches. Ryan is trying to cover himself, BUT JON IS HITTING THOSE BOXING PUNCHES WITH SUCH PRECISION, IT’S DIFFICULT TO STOP HIM! JON TOPS OFF ALL OF THOSE PUNCHES BEFORE NAILING RYAN WITH A SMALL UPPERCUT TO HIS FACE, WHICH MAKES HIM SLIDE TO A SEATED POSITION!

Eve: It doesn’t seem like Jon Kelton is going to give our General Manager a chance to show down because he is picking up Ryan Wilson to his feet before taking a step back before running towards him and nailing him with a corner spear! Jon manages to get Ryan by one of his arms before nailing him with an o goshi judo throw! Ryan is slowly trying to get himself to his feet, BUT JON MANAGES TO WRAP HIS ARMS AROUND HIM BEFORE CONNECTING WITH A GERMAN SUPLEX, BUT HE MAINTAINS HOLD OF RYAN’S WAIST BEFORE GOING FOR A SECOND AND THEN, A THIRD GERMAN SUPLEX!

Deadprez: It seems like Ronan Malosi has had enough and tries to get inside the ring, but the referee is making sure that it doesn’t happen. Jon Kelton tries to get Ryan Wilson to his feet, BUT RYAN MANAGES TO NAIL JON WITH A POKE OF THE EYE! RONAN GETS BACK TO HIS CORNER BEFORE RYAN GOES AND CONNECTS WITH A ROLL-UP ON ‘THE CHOSEN ONE.’ IS CHAINED FURY GOING TO STEAL THIS MATCH?

OOOOONNNNNNEEEEE!!!!

TTTTWWWW–

Gavin Kirkland: NO! JON KELTON MANAGES TO BREAK HIMSELF FREE FROM THE ROLL UP, BUT RYAN WILSON MANAGES TO TAKE HIM DOWN WITH A SUPERKICK AS JON STUMBLES TO THE GROUND! RYAN PROCEEDS TO STOMP ON JON BEFORE STANDING ON HIS RIBS WHILE HOLDING ONTO THE ROPES! I THINK THAT THE REFEREE MAY NEED TO BEGIN HIS COUNT!

Referee: ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR! FIVE! GET OFF, RYAN!

Eve: It seems like Ryan Wilson is respecting the referee’s count as he manages to get Jon Kelton by the nape of his neck before throwing him over to the Chained Fury corner as he tags in his former rival and current partner, Ronan Malosi into the match! Ronan gets a good hold of Jon as Ryan delivers a superkick to Jon into a reverse Alabama slam by Ronan! Just one of the few combinations that Chained Fury as Ronan has his arms on in confidence! I don’t think the EAW Universe has a specific favorite going into this match — maybe Jon Kelton — but I think they can all establish that they HATE Chained Fury with a passion!

Deadprez: After everything that Chained Fury have done to The Maidens of Malpractice, who the hell would LOVE them? RONAN MALOSI PICKS UP JON KELTON BEFORE HOISTING HIM UP OVER HIS HEAD AND THROWING HIM BEHIND HIM! JON FALLS ON HIS STOMACH AS HE CLUTCHES ONTO HIS RIBS! THE STRENGTH AND HEIGHT OF RONAN IS SOMETHING THAT WE CANNOT IGNORE! RONAN GETS JON UP TO HIS FEET BEFORE WHIPPING HIM TOWARDS THE CORNER! RONAN RUNS TOWARDS JON BEFORE NAILING HIM WITH A RUNNING UPPERCUT THAT SENDS JON KELTON FORWARD INTO A RUNNING CLOTHESLINE BY RONAN! JON SPINS AROUND LIKE A TOP AS RONAN GOES FOR THE COVER!

OOOOONNNNNEEEEEE!!!!

TTTTTWWWWOOOOO!!!!

Gavin Kirkland: Jon Kelton with a kick out, but Ronan Malosi doesn’t waste any time with picking up Jon by his shoulders and throwing him across the ring! The distance that Ronan got by just throwing Jon is insane! Jon is trying to recollect himself to his feet, but Ronan rushes towards Jon and connects with a running big boot that sends Jon to another corner! Jon collapses to a seated position! Ronan rushes towards Jon, nailing him with a running face wash at the corner! FROM THAT, IT SEEMED LIKE THE LIGHTS WERE KNOCKED OUT OF JON KELTON, BUT RONAN HOISTS JON UP BEFORE CONNECTING WITH A PENDULUM BACKBREAKER! JON IS CLUTCHING HIS LOWER BACK BEFORE TURNING HIS ATTENTION TOWARDS LUCAS JOHNSON, WHO IS MOUTHING A FEW WORDS TO RONAN.

Eve: RONAN MALOSI CONNECTS WITH A PUNCH TO LUCAS JOHNSON! Lucas catches himself on the apron before he tries to get inside the ring, but the referee is forcing Lucas back to his corner! Ryan Wilson rolls back inside the ring and it seems like we’re going to see Chained Fury at their finest as they take advantage of the referee when his back is turned! Jon is slowly rising back to his feet, but he is met with a ‘High & Low’ — the combination of a lariat by Ronan and a chop block by Ryan! Once again, Jon falls to his back as Ryan rolls out of the ring! Lucas gets to his corner as Ronan goes for the cover on Jon!

OOOOONNNNNNEEEEEE!!!!

TTTTTTTWWWWWWOOOOOOOOO!!!!

Deadprez: JON KELTON WITH A SHOULDER! RONAN MALOSI PROCEEDS TO PUNCH JON BEFORE GETTING HIS HAND ON JON’S THROAT BEFORE LIFTING HIM UP TO HIS FEET! ONCE AGAIN, THE STRENGTH OF RONAN MALOSI CONTINUES TO SURPRISE ME! RONAN MANAGES TO SHOVE JON ONTO THE VERTICAL SET OF ROPES! RONAN HOLDS RONAN AT THE ROPES BEFORE ‘SHUSHING’ THE EAW UNIVERSE BEFORE CONNECTING WITH A HUGE CHOP ONTO THE CHEST OF JON! Man, I think that you could hear that chop from outside the Theatre! THE LOOK ON JON’S FACE SAYS IT ALL AS RONAN CONNECTS WITH ANOTHER HUGE CHOP TO JON’S CHEST! AND ANOTHER ONE! AND ANOTHER ONE! AND ANOTHER ONE! YOU CAN SEE JON’S CHEST GOING PINK AS RONAN DELIVERS ANOTHER BIG CHOP TO JON’S CHEST! Ronan is continuing to look around as you can tell that he’s still worried about Dr. Bethany Blue. Since last week, he’s been a bit…paranoid about her making her presence felt.

Gavin Kirkland: It’s the reason why Chained Fury lost their tag team match last week, but Ronan Malosi needs to be like Troy Bolton and get his head in the game before — Jon Kelton connects a punch to Ronan! JON SAW RONAN NOT BEING FOCUSED AS HE WAS ABLE TO DELIVER A PUNCH! JON CONNECTS WITH ANOTHER PUNCH TO RONAN! AND ANOTHER ONE! AND ANOTHER ONE! JON FOLLOWS THAT UP WITH A CALF KICK AS THAT MAKES RONAN BEND FORWARD IN RESPONSE AS JON MANAGES TO REBOUND HIMSELF OFF THE ROPES BEFORE CONNECTING WITH A SPINNING NECKBREAKER AS THAT TAKES THE BIGGER MAN DOWN! Jon sees that Ronan is in a perfect position before running towards the horizontal set of ropes and connecting with a gorgeous lionsault! He is in perfect position to cover Ronan as the referee gets in position!

OOOOOOONNNNNNNEEEEEEE!!!!

TTTTTTTTWWWWWWOOOOOOO!!!!!

Eve: RONAN MALOSI SHOVES JON KELTON OFF OF HIM! But, Jon Kelton proceeds to punch the living hell out of ‘The Hot Takes King.’ He moves Ronan into his corner with Lucas Johnson and tags him into the match!

Referee: TAG!

Deadprez: Lucas Johnson steps in between the ropes and inside the ring! It seems like he’s getting Ronan Malosi’s leg before taking him towards the bottom rope and intertwining his leg within the ropes! He pauses for a second before…STOMPING ON RONAN’S LEG! Ronan wiggles like a fish as he is seen clutching on his right leg! It’s smart of Lucas to create a target out of that leg! Ronan’s probably the biggest man in this match, so by eliminating one of his legs, it keeps him down, which is wise for someone like Lucas Johnson, who is all about standard wrestling.

Gavin Kirkland: What in the world is Lucas Johnson planning on doing now? It looks like we’re going to get an inverted figure four leg lock from him! If there is any way to inflict more pain on Ronan Malosi’s leg, this move may do the job! THE CRIES OF PAIN FROM RONAN MALOSI BEGIN AS HE IS DOING WHAT HE CAN TO GET TO THE BOTTOM ROPE, BUT LUCAS HAS THE SUBMISSION MOVE LOCKED IN! RYAN IS YELLING AT RONAN TO HOLD ON AND GET TO THE BOTTOM ROPE! MEANWHILE, YOU SEE THAT LUCAS JOHNSON IS TRYING TO KEEP HIM STILL, BUT IT SEEMS LIKE HIS GRASP ON RONAN IS SLIPPING AWAY!

Eve: Ronan Malosi is trying to pull himself to that bottom rope! And…HE MAKES IT! Lucas Johnson doesn’t wait for the referee’s count as he releases the hold. Instead he goes from the inverted figure four to an ankle lock as Ronan is still clutching onto the bottom rope! BUT, LUCAS HAS HIS LEG UP BEFORE SLAMMING HIS LEG AGAINST THE MAT! RONAN CLUTCHES HIS LEG AS LUCAS PLACES HIS ENTIRE WEIGHT ON HIS LEG! RONAN IS TRYING TO SHOVE LUCAS OFF OF HIM, BUT THE REFEREE BEGINS HIS COUNT!

Referee: ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR! FIVE!

Deadprez: Lucas Johnson gets off of Ronan Malosi, but delivers one last stomp to Ronan’s leg before the referee backs him away! This allows Ronan some time to recover, hoping to get himself up! He uses the ropes to help himself up, but Lucas rushes towards him, taking him down with a knee strike! Lucas proceeds to connect with some punches to Ronan’s back, trying to take him down to his knees, BUT LUCAS EXITS THE RING BEFORE STICKING RONAN’S UPPER HALF THROUGH THE MIDDLE ROPE! LUCAS CONNECTS WITH SOME KNEE STRIKES ONTO RONAN BEFORE DELIVERING A MEAN STANDING ELBOW DROP AS RONAN MALOSI FALLS ONTO THE APRON! LUCAS TAKES A COUPLE OF STEPS BACK AS HE WATCHES RONAN RECOLLECT HIMSELF ON THE APRON, BUT BEFORE RONAN CAN GET TO HIS FEET, LUCAS RUSHES TOWARDS HIM WITH A DROPKICK THAT SENDS RONAN CRASHING TO THE OTHER POLE! IT HITS THE BACK OF RONAN’S HEAD AS LUCAS FOLLOWS IT UP WITH A FACE WASH!

Gavin Kirkland: Ryan Wilson runs towards Lucas Johnson, looking to knock Lucas with a forearm, but Lucas manages to connect with a forearm to the Showdown General Manager! Before you know it, Jon Kelton is on the top rope as he has his eyes towards Ryan, who staggers back due to the forearm before taking him down with a slingshot! Meanwhile, this provides the freedom for Lucas to find himself on the top rope! His attention is on Ronan Malosi who is trying to recollect himself to his feet, but Lucas from the top rope —

Eve: MOONSAULT TO RONAN MALOSI! Both of these Elitists are down as Ryan Wilson manages to pull Ronan Malosi away from Lucas Johnson! Lucas sees that as he gets to Ryan’s face as the two former allies are now arguing with each other! Inside the ring, you have Jon Kelton, who looks at the horizontal set of ropes behind him as an idea pops up in his mind! JON REBOUNDS HIMSELF OFF THE ROPES BEFORE CONNECTING WITH A TOPE CON HILO AS HE MANAGES TO LAND ON LUCAS JOHNSON! THE LOOK OF PANIC RACES ON JON’S FACE! I THINK THAT HE KNOWS THAT HE MESSED UP THERE, BUT BEFORE HE CAN EVEN THINK ABOUT HIS ACTIONS, RYAN WILSON PUSHES JON ONTO THE STEEL RING POST! He gets knocked out of the equation as Ryan manages to roll Lucas back inside the ring! Ryan gets Ronan back to the Chained Fury corner before tagging him into the match!

Referee: TAG!

Deadprez: Ryan Wilson is now the legal man in this match as he manages to get Lucas Johnson to his feet before connecting with a Lou Thesz press on the former New Breed Champion! Left and right from the General Manager as he manages to get Lucas Johnson from the nape of his neck before whipping him to one of the corners! Ryan takes a few steps back before rushing towards Lucas at the corner and connects with a helluva kick! Lucas staggers forward as Ryan manages to pick up Lucas before connecting with a snap suplex! He quickly goes for the cover on Lucas!

OOOOONNNNNNEEEEEEEE!!!!

TTTTTTTWWWWWWOOOOOOO!!!!

Gavin Kirkland: LUCAS JOHNSON WITH A KICK OUT! Ryan Wilson sits Lucas up before connecting with a shoot kick to his back! You can see the look on Lucas’ face and you know that the kick wasn’t pleasant at all! RYAN CONNECTS WITH ANOTHER SHOOT KICK TO LUCAS’ BACK! AND ANOTHER ONE! AND ANOTHER ONE! AND ANOTHER ONE! RYAN BEGINS TO SLAP THE BACK OF LUCAS’ HEAD, ALMOST TRYING TO EGG HIM ON! I THINK THAT HE WOULD WANT TO SEE THE BEST OUT OF HIS ROSTER! HE WANTS FOR PEOPLE TO GIVE THEM EVERYTHING THAT THEY GOT! RYAN GETS IN FRONT OF LUCAS’ FACE BEFORE SLAPPING HIM IN THE FACE!

Eve: By each slap to his face, you can see that Lucas Johnson is getting pissed! He is someone who is sick and tired of people pushing him around! He is sick of being seen as a joke, but if he manages to defeat the General Manager, maybe, people will take him a bit more seriously!

Ryan Wilson: (off-mic) Come on, Lucas. This is why you’re never destined to evolve on this brand. Pure fucking laziness with you —

Deadprez: LUCAS JOHNSON JUST HEADBUTT RYAN WILSON IN THE MOUTH! RYAN WILSON IS IN COMPLETE SHOCK AS LUCAS MANAGES TO CONNECT WITH DROP TOEHOLD ON THE GENERAL MANAGER AND IT LOOKS LIKE WE’RE GOING TO BE SEEING A SUBMISSION MOVE! HE SCRAMBLES FOR THE ‘TWISTER LOCK.’ HE HAS THE TWISTER LOCK APPLIED AS RYAN SEEMS TO BE PANICKING AT THE MOMENT!  BUT, RYAN QUICKLY GETS HIS FOOT ON THE BOTTOM ROPE AS THE REFEREE NEEDS TO FORCE A COUNT HERE!

Referee: ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR! FIVE!

Gavin Kirkland: Lucas Johnson releases the hold! If he had applied the lock just away from the ropes, he probably would have had much success. It was just that Ryan had solid ring awareness to realize that he was near the ropes. Lucas waits for Ryan to get himself to his feet! Lucas rushes towards him before nailing him with a double knee facebreaker which makes him collapse to the ground!

Eve: It seems like Lucas Johnson is now approaching Jon Kelton at his corner.

Lucas Johnson: (off-mic) I don’t mean to start anything, but your aim with the tope con hilo could have been better.

Jon Kelton: (off-mic) My bad for landing on you, but I was aiming for Ryan.

Lucas Johnson: (off-mic) I would recommend that you don’t do anything stupid that can cost us the match. We both need this momentum for King of Elite.

Jon Kelton: (off-mic) If it’s one of us that loses the match for the team, it’s you. I am totally capable of handling myself.

Eve: LUCAS JOHNSON TAGS JON KELTON IN THE SHOULDER, FORCING HIM INTO THE MATCH!

Lucas Johnson: (off-mic) Let’s see you handle yourself.

Deadprez: Jon Kelton gets inside the ring as I don’t think that he was expecting for himself to enter this match, but he always tries to keep himself in the fighting mentality. Ryan Wilson is trying to get himself to his feet, but Jon manages to stop him in his tracks by connecting with a knee to the ribs! This makes the General Manager bend forward in response as he rebounds himself off the ropes and connects with a scissors kick, bUT RYAN WILSON MANAGES TO SPIN HIMSELF AROUND KICKING THE FORMER INTERWIRE CHAMPION IN HIS OWN STOMACH BEFORE PULLING HIM CLOSER AND CONNECTING WITH A TORNADO DDT OF DEATH! Both Elitists find themselves on the mat, but it’s Ryan who manages to get himself to his feet! He finds his way towards the top rope as he’s perched to connect with his next move!

Gavin Kirkland: But, Jon Kelton manages to race down to his feet! Jon isn’t down just yet as he manages to join Ryan at the top rope! Jon throws a punch to the Showdown General Manager! He throws another punch at him as he slowly makes his way to the top rope with Ryan Wilson! RYAN CONNECTS WITH A PUNCH TO JON, TRYING HIS BEST TO KNOCK HIM OFF, BUT JON IS MAINTAINING HIS BALANCE AS HE THROWS ANOTHER PUNCH TO RYAN! THE TWO MEN ARE TEETERING ON THAT TOP ROPE! ONE WRONG MOVE AND BOTH OF THEM COLLAPSE AT RINGSIDE! JON THROWS A PUNCH TO RYAN! RYAN THROWS A PUNCH TO JON! JON! RYAN! JON! RYAN! JON! JON! JON! HE LOOKS DIRECTLY INTO HIS OPPONENT AT KING OF ELITE, LUCAS JOHNSON BEFORE GETTING RYAN INTO POSITION AS —

Eve: GOD’S LAST GIFT — THE MODIFIED SPANISH FLY FROM THE TOP ROPE! THE MOVE CONNECTS TO RYAN WILSON! THE TWO MEN TOTALLY FEEL THE FALL AS JON KELTON SLOWLY MOVES HIMSELF TO PUT HIS ARM OVER RYAN WILSON’S BODY!

OOOOOONNNNNNEEEEEE!!!!

TTTTTTWWWWWWOOOOO!!!!

TTTTTTHHHHHHHRRRRRRREEEEEEEEE!!!

Deadprez: RONAN MALOSI MANAGES TO BREAK THE PIN AT THE LAST SECOND! Lucas Johnson races inside the ring before connecting with running towards the bigger man with a dropkick that sends him down to his knee! Lucas follows that up with a giant superkick to the chin of ‘The Hot Takes King’ as that sends him to the outside! But, Lucas gets turned around as he gets a ‘Chaos Theory,’ which is Ryan Wilson’s variation of a jumping cutter, BUT LUCAS PUSHES RYAN INTO JON KELTON AT THE LAST SECOND! JON COLLAPSES TO THE GROUND AND LUCAS KNEW THAT HE FUCKED UP THERE!

Gavin Kirkland: Lucas Johnson turns around into a knock out punch by Ronan Malosi! This allows for Ryan Wilson to pull Jon Kelton in for the cover! Is he going to take advantage of Lucas’ mistake from moments ago?

OOOOONNNNNNNEEEEEEEEE!!!!!

TTTTTTWWWWWWOOOOOOOO!!!!!

TTTTTTTTHHHHHHHRRRRRRREEEEEEEE!!!

Eve: JON KELTON WITH A KICK OUT AT THE LAST SECOND! You can see a bit of frustration on Ryan Wilson’s face, but he’s trying to keep as calm as possible! He has to be calm for Ronan Malosi, who seems to be looking back at the top of the stage! Ryan goes over to his corner and tags in Ronan back into the match! Ronan steps inside the ring as he holds up Jon! Ryan goes for a superman punch as Ronan follows up quickly with a Vertigo!

(The lights go off out of nowhere.)

Deadprez: The lights again?

Gavin Kirkland: Obviously the work of Dr. Bethany Blue again? It seems like the Doc is playing her mind games.

(The lights go flickering on again as Ronan Malosi looks scared as fuck as he looks his way up the ramp.)

Eve: JON KELTON WITH A ROLL UP! IS HE GOING TO STEAL THIS MATCH FOR CHAINED FURY?!?!?

OOOOONNNNNEEEEEEE!!!!

TTTTTTTTWWWWWWOOOOOOOO!!!!

Deadprez: NO! RONAN MALOSI MANAGES TO THROW JON KELTON TO HIS CORNER WITH LUCAS JOHNSON, WHO TAGS HIMSELF INTO THE MATCH!

Referee: TAG!

Gavin Kirkland: I don’t think that Jon Kelton appreciated Lucas Johnson inserting himself into the match. It seemed like Jon was getting things handled. Now, it seems like the two men are at each other’s face. Ronan is not appreciating his time being wasted as he wants to get this match completely over it. By the looks of things, he doesn’t want to be anywhere near ringside with Dr. Bethany Blue’s mind games lingering in the background! But, Ronan Malosi manages to push Lucas Johnson into Jon Kelton, knocking him down in the process before rolling up Lucas! The same thing that Jon tried to do with Ryan earlier in the match!

OOOOOOOONNNNNNNNEEEEEEEE!!!!

TTTTTTTTWWWWWWOOOOOOOO!!!!!

Eve: LUCAS JOHNSON COUNTERS WITH A CROSSFACE! LUCAS JOHNSON WITH THE CROSSFACE! RONAN MALOSI FINDS HIMSELF IN A WORLD OF TROUBLE RIGHT NOW WITH NOWHERE TO GO! IS HE GOING TO GET RONAN TO SUBMIT RIGHT HERE?!?!?!?

Deadprez: NO! RYAN WILSON MANAGES TO GET RONAN MALOSI’S FOOT AND PLACE IT ON THE BOTTOM ROPE! NOW, HE’S TRYING TO GET THE ATTENTION OF THE REFEREE AS HE SEES RONAN FOOT ON THE BOTTOM ROPE!

Referee: ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR! FIVE! LET GO, LUCAS!

Gavin Kirkland: Lucas Johnson quickly gets to his feet as he slowly backs away to his corner! It seems like he’s going to go for that claymore kick finisher of his, but —

Referee: TAG!

Eve: JON KELTON TAGS HIMSELF INTO THE MATCH! LUCAS JOHNSON IS PISSED AT THE MOMENT! PERHAPS, HE THOUGHT THAT HE HAD RONAN MALOSI WHERE HE WANTED HIM AND JON RUINED THAT!

Lucas Johnson: (off-mic) What in the hell are you doing?

Jon Kelton: (off-mic) Making sure we get the job done for real.

Lucas Johnson: (off-mic) I’m confident that I was on my way of doing that. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Jon Kelton: (off-mic) We will because I’m in the match now.

Lucas Johnson: (off-mic) Well, if you’re as good as you hype yourself to be then, let’s see you get the job done.

(Lucas Johnson pats Jon Kelton on the shoulder before exiting the ring and stepping on the apron, leaving Jon to finish things off with Ronan Malosi.)

Deadprez: Jon Kelton didn’t really have a chance to catch his breath, but he finds himself back in this match. HE STALKS RONAN MALOSI TO HIS FEET BEFORE NAILING HIM WITH A ‘CODE OF SILENCE,’ HIS VARIATION OF A STANDING SPINNING HEEL KICK AS HE MANAGES TO GET THE BIGGER MAN TO ONE KNEE! NOW, IT SEEMS LIKE JON IS GOING FOR A SECOND CODE OF SILENCE TO MAKE SURE THAT RONAN STAYS DOWN FOR REAL THIS TIME, BUT RONAN MANAGES TO HOIST JON OVER HIS HEAD BEFORE CONNECTING WITH A SPINEBUSTER! RONAN GETS JON UP TO HIS FEET BEFORE —

(The lights flicker on and off again.)

Gavin Kirkland: Oh god, it seems like Dr. Bethany Blue is watching this match? At this point, it seems like she loves bringing this pain to Ronan Malosi.

(The lights flicker back on and stay there.)

Eve: Ronan Malosi REALLY needs to look for a way to end this match right now! He manages to get Jon Kelton in position for ‘Death-Ro,’ his version of the swinging STO, BUT JON MANAGES TO COUNTER WITH A ‘SPOILER ALERT,’ THE FULL NELSON LEGSWEEP FACEBUSTER CONNECTS ON RONAN MALOSI AS THE TWO MEN ARE DOWN! BOTH MEN LOOK EXHAUSTED AT THE MOMENT AFTER THIS MATCH HAS GONE ON FOR ALMOST FIFTEEN MINUTES. RONAN MANAGES TO TAG IN RYAN WILSON INTO THE MATCH!

Referee: TAG!

Deadprez: The Showdown General Manager is back into the match as Jon Kelton jumps and tags in Lucas Johnson!

Gavin Kirkland: BUT, LUCAS JOHNSON JUMPS OFF THE APRON!

Eve: Jon Kelton looks to be in disbelief, but Lucas Johnson did say that he wanted to see Jon Kelton get the job done. Lucas is standing there as he crosses his arms across his chest. He seems emotionless at the moment and he knows EXACTLY what he is doing to Jon Kelton.

Deadprez: RYAN WILSON HOISTS UP JON KELTON TO HIS FEET BEFORE CONNECTING WITH A ONE-HANDED POWERBOMB! HE’S IN PERFECT POSITION FOR THE COVER AS HE GOES FOR THE COVER!!!

OOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!

TTTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

TTTTTTTTTTTHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRR–

Gavin Kirkland: JON KELTON WITH A KICK OUT! BUT, IT SEEMS LIKE RYAN IS NOT DONE HERE AS HE TAGS IN RONAN MALOSI INTO THE MATCH! RONAN POPS UP JON UP IN THE AIR AS RYAN CONNECTS WITH A DOUBLE KNEE FACEBREAKER! BUT, IT SEEMS LIKE THEY’RE NOT DONE HERE AS RONAN MALOSI MANAGES TO GET JON KELTON IN POSITION FOR DEATH-RO AS THE MOVE HITS INTO A CHAOS THEORY BY RYAN WILSON!

Eve: Lucas Johnson is doing completely nothing. All he’s doing is staring at Jon Kelton as Ronan Malosi goes for the cover!

OOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEE!!!!

TTTTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

TTTTTTTTHHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEE!!!

(DING! DING! DING!)

(“Fire Storm A” plays once again as Ronan Malosi slams his fist in victory. Ryan Wilson joins him in the ring as Chained Fury gets their hands raised by the referee.)

Gina Romano: THE WINNERS OF THIS MATCH…THE TEAM OF RONAN MALOSI AND THE GENERAL MANAGER OF SHOWDOWN, RYAN WILSON… CHAINED FURY!!!!!

Deadprez: What an excellent tag team bout that we saw! I thought that each Elitist in this match had a moment to shine, but Chained Fury’s chemistry and willingness to never give up is one of the reasons why they’re the winner.

Gavin Kirkland: You gotta feel for Jon Kelton. He did his best to hold on and assure people that he didn’t need Lucas Johnson. He saw the error or that towards the end of the match, but Lucas wasn’t willing to play nice. When you do that, plus the moment where Jon’s tope con hilo landed on Lucas instead or Ryan and then, Lucas being pushed into Jon. It seemed like this team would be destined to fall apart. In the end, Lucas and Jon are rivals and their Street Fight at King of Elite will be something to remember.

Eve: Chained Fury manages to pick up the victory as they look good ahead of their match against The Maidens of Malpractice in the Tag Team Tornado Match next week!

(The lights go out as it’s pitch black. The screams of Ronan Malosi are heard as a spotlight shines at top of the stage. The crowd goes crazy at the presence of Alexis Chambers, who stands underneath that spotlight. She is crackling like a demented lunatic before focusing her attention on Chained Fury. Ronan is hiding behind Ryan Wilson. Both of them look like they are seeing a ghost before Alexis gives a demented smile that only a mother could love.)

Eve: ALEXIS CHAMBERS! SHE’S BACK!

Alexis Chambers: She’s here.

(The crowd cheers even louder before the camera slowly goes up to the titantron, where the plague mask is seen. The crowd’s cheering gets louder as people know that The Plague Doctor is Dr. Bethany Blue. Alexis continues to crackle as she looks at the stage with eyes full of love and chaos for The Plague Doctor. The lights go off again.)

Gavin Kirkland: Oh boy! She’s here, Eve and DP! Alexis Chambers is here and she’s brought The Plague Doctor with her!

(The lights go back on.)

(Chained Fury is completely freaking out. Ryan Wilson is trying his best to remain calm, but Ronan Malosi looks like he wants to die right now. The crowd cheers once again at the sight of The Plague Doctor in a flesh. It’s safe to say that Ronan is crying right now and he possibly sees his life flashing beneath his eyes. Dr. Bethany Blue begins to take off the plague doctor mask.)

Eve: THAT’S NOT BETHANY BLUE!

Deadprez: THAT IS ALEXIS CHAMBERS!

(Chained Fury is freaking out. They’ve gone completely pale at Alexis Chambers’ presence. This is the same woman that they left for dead about two weeks ago. She’s still alive with bruises around her face. She has scratches around her face, but her sinister smile hasn’t faded with all the pain that she’s felt. Ryan Wilson is trying to reason with Alexis Chambers, but Alexis tilts her head to the side, not really giving a damn about what Ryan has to say.)

Gavin Kirkland: Alexis Chambers connects with a headbutt towards the Showdown General Manager. That knocks Ryan Wilson to the side for a moment as Ronan Malosi comes at her with a giant clothesline, but Alexis with a matrix evasion as Ronan runs past her! Alexis gets on top of Ronan’s shoulders before taking him down with a spiked hurricanrana! Ronan falls on the top of his head as Ryan Wilson runs towards her, but Alexis runs towards him before connecting with a tilt-a-whirl headscissors takedown as she throws him to the corner! Ronan manages to get to his feet, but Alexis manages to get Ronan by the arm before whipping Ronan to the same corner as he crashes onto Ryan Wilson!

Eve: Alexis Chambers runs towards Chained Fury and connects with a running corner dropkick! Ronan Malosi staggers forward as Alexis connects with a monkey flip on Ronan as that sends him to his back! Ryan Wilson runs after her before connecting with a hip toss as he manages to fall on top of Ronan! Alexis rushes towards Ryan before nailing a ‘FOH,’ her variation of the shining wizard connects as Ryan falls out of the ring! She manages to get on the top rope as she situates herself for the next move —

Deadprez: THE HEARTSTOPPER! THE ELEVATED MOONSAULT FROM THE TOP ROPE ALL THE WAY DOWN TO RONAN MALOSI!

(Alexis Chambers kicks Ronan Malosi out of the ring as she stands in the middle of the ring. The fans are applauding her. They didn’t think that she would be here so soon. What occurred with her was truly traumatic, but to be here tonight and take down Chained Fury the way she did, shows the strength within her as “Walking The Wire” by Imagine Dragons plays. She stares down with Chained Fury, who is looking for their way out of ringside. Alexis pierces her eyes and glares at them with zero emotion on her face.)

Gavin Kirkland: That was some well-needed payback that Alexis Chambers needed to get for what Chained Fury did to her.

Eve: It would make things perfect if Dr. Bethany Blue was here to be there for her… wait, look up the ramp!

(Dr. Bethany Blue races down the ramp, but it’s difficult to do so in her heels, but she makes it seem effortless. She manages to race into the ring. The only thing that Bethany is focused on is Alexis Chambers and Alexis Chambers only. It’s almost like a wave of emotion is hitting the Doctor. The pain of seeing someone that she loved and cared for suffering for what Chained Fury really tested the strength of their relationship. Bethany pulls Alexis into an embrace as they look at each other’s eyes. The emotion of the two women is seen as Bethany raises Alexis’ arm up in the air.)

Deadprez: What a perfect timing! Right here, this could foreshadow what we have to be on a look out for on Showdown next week! Not only that, but we could be looking at the next Unified Tag Team Champions!

(Commercial break for beard care featuring Charlie Marr.)

(The camera opens to Kyra Phillips backstage.)

Kyra Phillips: We are two weeks away from King of Elite. As of last week, we learned that Kassidy Heart would be representing Showdown in the King of Elite finals. We also have Justin Windgate defending his Interwire Championship against Kid Ohio, but our World Championship match for the event will be newly crowned Answers World Champion, Jack Ripley, defending the title against Bronson Daniels. With me, I have the Answers World Champion himself. Ladies and gentlemen… Jack Ripley!

(Jack Ripley gets in the camera shot with the Answers World Championship shining on his shoulder. He is in his ring gear, prepared for his match against James Ranger. He looks at the camera with the most confidence, but has a soft look on his face as he’s ready for Kyra Phillips and her questions.)

Kyra Phillips: Jack, you are two weeks away from your first championship defense against Bronson Daniels, who has had your number a few times. As of last week, Bronson threw out the challenge to make the Answers World Championship match a Falls Count Anywhere match. I just wanted to capture your thoughts on the match?

Jack Ripley: Honestly, I was anticipating more for my first title defense. I don’t mean to nitpick all of this stuff, but I haven’t been crazy about the competition that I’ve been facing. Kid Ohio, Chained Fury and as of in a matter of moments, James Ranger. I haven’t been impressed with the competition that I’ve faced. As Answers World Champion, I want the absolute best for me. I want to go out and to be able to do the one thing I love and that’s wrestling. I want to be facing the best that this company has to offer. I want icons, legends and main eventers. Give me Kassidy Heart, Consuela Rose Ava, Xavier Williams, Raven Roberts, etc. Give me Elitists that are going to push me to the absolute limit. Give me people that are going to motivate me to come into work each and every week and give it everything I have. I want to be motivated. I want for this championship to be represented as the best thing going for Showdown and EAW. I don’t believe that the champion should be overshadowed and be used as a cannon fodder in everyone else’s stories. The Answers World Champion needs to be the focal point of the Showdown brand and it needs to be held to the highest standard. Bronson Daniels? Do I think that he’s going to go into King of Elite and give it everything that he has? 100%. Falls Count Anywhere is supposed to take away the scenario that has given him the two victories that he has over me. Other than that, it seems quite stupid in Bronson’s part to ask for a Falls Count Anywhere Match? What’s his reason for the match? He wants to prove that he can pin or submit me? Okay, cool, but it’s not really a big deal to me. If anything, it makes it easier for him to lose the match because I’m not going into King of Elite to lose. I’m going into retain and move on to worthy competition.

Kyra Philips: In just a matter of moments, you’ll be stepping into the ring with James Ranger? Any thoughts about your opponent?

Jack Ripley: I give James Ranger credit for stepping up to the plate. He’s done well against some of the talent on this brand. He’s stepped up to the plate in these last couple of months. He got a victory over a veteran in this company like Jon Kelton and that’s something that I am taking under consideration, but it is going to change nothing. For James, it changes nothing because he’s going to be stepping into the ring against another great in Jack Ripley. James is going to give it everything that he has, but he’s going to find himself in the losing side of things. Much like Bronson is going to find himself in the losing side of our Answers World Championship match at King of Elite.

(Jack Ripley pauses as he looks across as the camera moves until stopping on Bronson Daniels.)

Jack Ripley: May I help you?

Bronson Daniels: A little bit. I was just listening into your little interview and couldn’t help, but laugh at the fact that you think that facing me is just another match for you. You don’t really perceive me as someone who is worthy of facing the ‘almighty Jack Ripley,’ but are we gonna forget the fact that I hold TWO victories over you?

Jack Ripley: (almost in a mocking tone) Are we gonna forget that those TWO victories are by COUNT OUT?

Bronson Daniels: You’re entitled to your little opinions on whether my wins against your are legitimate, but the last thing that you should be doing is sleeping on Bronson Daniels. I am the best first title defense you are ever going to get, Jack. It doesn’t get better than facing the “Next Up of 2021” right here. It’s just strange that you’re looking down on the first challenger for your champion because weren’t you in this same position in the beginning of the season with Jamie O’Hara? Weren’t you the same person that kept telling him that he hasn’t faced an opponent like you? Weren’t you the same person who kept saying that things were going to be different with you? Yet, you have the nerve to look down on me? You were in my position once upon a time, Jack. Remember the time where you had something to prove when going up against Jamie? Remember when you were someone who had everything to prove to someone? From those two victories over you, everyone now sees that Jack Ripley isn’t as unstoppable as he likes to parade around. At King of Elite, people will see that Jack Ripley was never supposed to be in this spot and from the list of previous champions, he falls short in being in the same league as them.

Jack Ripley: Count outs won’t save you at King of Elite, Bronson.

Bronson Daniels: I wouldn’t want it any other way. If you’re not convinced that I am a credible opponent for you, Jack; watch me defeat Kassidy Heart. But before I go, break a leg against James Ranger. You’re going to need it.

Jack Ripley: I appreciate the luck, but I don’t need it. If there’s anyone that needs luck, it’s you with Kassidy. I heard she’s a biter. :yikes: Although, I’ll be scouting the main event.

Bronson Daniels: I’ll be keeping an eye on your match too. When it comes to my match with Kassidy, people don’t think that I have a shot at defeating her, but I’m just going to do what I always do and that’s conquer the odds. You conquered the odds and became Answers World Champion at Road to Redemption. Now, it’s my turn to take your championship and conquer the odds as well.

Jack Ripley: *scuffs* Wake up from your dream and join me in reality, Bronson or you’re going to end up being heartbroken.

(Jack Ripley walks off, leaving Bronson Daniels alone. The scene fades elsewhere.)

(The lovely Gina Romano stands in the ring with a mic in hand to make her announcements for the next match.)

Gina Romano: The following contest is scheduled for..ONE FALL!!!

Virtual Crowd: ONE FALL!!

(‘Raise Up The Lights’ by Riot Music Team plays first and out comes James and Joyanne Ranger, James takes a gander towards the ring, and the duo begin walking down the ramp to the ring while receiving a largely positive reaction from the virtual audience.)

Gina Romano: Introducing first! Hailing from London, England, weighing in at 243 pounds, accompanied by Joyanne Ranger…HE IS ‘THE BLACK MAMBA’…JAMES RANGER!!!

Eve: James Ranger has been on somewhat of a drought as of late, but last week, Ranger scored a huge win over former 24/7 contract holder Jon Kelton.

Deadprez: Which is great for James Ranger, a win like that is certainly gonna open some eyes especially with the way things have seemed to be as of late. No disrespect to James, but he’s been almost an afterthought since Road to Redemption.

Eve: I agree with you Deadprez, but tonight, he’s facing the Answers World Champion in Jack Ripley. If he scores what will be perceived as an upset win tonight, he will be an afterthought no more here on Showdown. Ryan Wilson will have no choice but to take notice.

Gavin Kirkland: You know who’s not an afterthought? Joyanne Ranger. :shaq: You guys think she’d be willing to risk it all?

Eve: With you? Not a chance.

Gavin Kirkland: :noah:

(Joyanne stands on the apron, whispering strategy into the ear of her husband who’s getting into the next gear for his matchup. Meanwhile, ‘Raise Up The Lights’ is soon replaced with ‘BxMxC’ by BABYMETAL. The champ is in the house, and is greeted with a warm reception from the virtual audience. Jack Ripley hoists the belt in the air on the stage before heading down to the ring all business.)

Gina Romano: And his opponent! Hailing from Las Vegas, Nevada, weighing in at 202 pounds…HE IS THE ANSWERS WORLD CHAMPION…’THE STRAIGHT SHOOTER’..JACK RIPLEY!!!!

Eve: Jack Ripley has a huge match ahead of him at King of Elite against Bronson Daniels, but this week, he has to face James Ranger. And it seems as if the champion doesn’t see James Ranger as being particularly worth his time.

Deadprez: No disrespect to James, but Jack is kind of right. He hasn’t exactly been facing your conventional opponents as of late with his title run. Kid Ohio, Ronan Malosi, Ryan Wilson, James Ranger, not exactly names you were expecting. Jack said it himself, he wants to face icons, he wants to face people that want his world title as much as he does.

Gavin Kirkland: Ronan Malosi? Ryan Wilson? Kid Ohio? Sounds like icons to me. I don’t know what Jack Ripley’s complaining about, he’s getting A caliber talent.

Eve: :wow: Jack Ripley needs to learn to not look over these talents even if they’re not looked at in high regard like a DEDEDE, or a Kass. Anybody can be beaten here in EAW on any given day, Jack Ripley is no exception.

(Both competitors eye each other down from their opposite corners, and both affirm to the ref that their ready to start the match as he signals for the bell.)

(DING! DING! DING!)

Eve: There’s the bell, AND JAMES RANGER IMMEDIATELY OPTING TO TAKE THE FIGHT TO THE CHAMPION RIGHT AWAY! THROWING HUGE STRIKES JACK RIPLEY’S WAY IN THAT CORNER! RANGER GOES IN FOR ANOTHER PUNCH ON RIPLEY- JACK CATCHES THE ARM AND THROWS A PUNCH OF HIS OWN! JACK NOW FIGHTING HIS WAY OUT OF THE CORNER, AND RANGER GOES STUMBLING INTO THE OPPOSITE ONE!

Deadprez: RIPLEY CHARGES AT JAMES IN THE CORNER, RIPLEY GETS THROWN OVER THE SHOULDER OF JAMES! RIPLEY ABLE TO CATCH HIMSELF ON THAT APRON THOUGH! James may not realize it as Jack scales to the top rope, back facing Ranger. Joyanne trying to alert her husband to what’s going on, and in return, JACK RIPLEY GETS CROTCHED ON THE TOP ROPE!

Eve: Ranger is following Jack Ripley up there now, and delivering shots to the back. The arm of Ripley thrown around the neck of Ranger now, and we could be seeing a back Suplex take place here! That top rope is no small height! BACK SUP- RIPLEY FIGHTING OUT OF IT! DRIVING THE BACK OF HIS ELBOW INTO THE SIDE OF RANGER’S HEAD! The balance of Ranger seems to be in trouble now! RIPLEY THROWING HIS ELBOW BACK INTO RANGER’S FACE ONCE MORE AND THIS TIME HE GOES DOWN!

Deadprez: James is dazed, AND JACK TAKES THE MOMENT TO SOAR IN THE AIR AND COME CRASHING DOWN WITH A MOONSAULT! JACK GRABS THE LEG OF RANGER AND HOLDS HIM FOR A PIN!

ONNNNEEEEEEEE!!

TWWWWOOOOOOOOO!!

Deadprez: RANGER PUSHES RIPLEY OFF BEFORE THE COUNT OF THREE! Jack quickly scrambles back to his feet while Ranger slowly stumbles back up! Ranger gets locked in the front facelock! AND JACK ATTEMPTS TO USE THE ROPES TO HIS ADVANTAGE FOR A TORNADO DDT- RANGER PUSHES HIM OFF BEFORE THE IMPACT COULD HAPPEN! JACK RUNS AT RANGER, BIG MISTAKE AS HE RUNS INTO A BACK ELBOW! JAMES RANGER STEPS UP FOR A HUGE ENZIGURI THAT CATCHES JACK BEHIND THE EAR!

Eve: A LETHAL COMBINATION DONE BY RANGER AFTER DROPPING RIPLEY WITH A GERMAN SUPLEX! That move usually causes nasty landings for the person taking it and Ripley is no different landing right on the back of his head!

Deadprez: No kidding, Eve, you could literally see the EAW audience letting out a huge gasp from their homes.

Gavin Kirkland: The hurt Ripley is brought back up to his feet by Ranger! SNAP SUPLEX BY JAMES! Ripley is brought down once more, and the pin is made by James on Jack!

ONNNNEEEEEEEE!!

TWWWWO-

Gavin Kirkland: Jack is still alive, probably gonna have to take a lot more than that to finish off our champion.

Eve: Jack is brought up for a Suplex one more time, HOWEVER, JACK CRACKS RANGER ON THE TOP OF HIS HEAD WITH A KNEE WHILE IN THE AIR, FORCING JAMES TO PUT HIM DOWN! Ranger is doubled over after that knee, BUT JACK WITH A SOCCER KICK TO THE FACE OF RANGER THAT SENDS HIM BACK STANDING UPRIGHT, ALBEIT IN PAIN! RANGER LOOKS TO RETALIATE, JACK ONE STEP AHEAD BY CATCHING JAMES WITH A BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEX!

Deadprez: Ranger finds himself over at the ropes! JACK WITH A CLOTHESLINE THAT SENDS HIM TO THE OUTSIDE! OFF THE ROPES RIPLEY GOES AND HE COMES FLYING ALL THE WAY THROUGH THE MIDDLE ROPE WITH A SUICIDE DIVE THAT ALMOST SENDS JAMES RANGER HALFWAY AT THE RAMP WITH THE MOMENTUM RIPLEY CARRIED!

Eve: Jack grabs Ranger and attempts to bring him back into the ring! BUT JAMES SHOVES RIPLEY INTO THE APRON STOMACH FIRST! The wind undoubtedly being taken out of Jack Ripley’s sails. RANGER CAPITALIZES AND RIPLEY GOES FACE-FIRST INTO RINGPOST! Jack is down and the referee’s count is reaching seven! James Ranger slides in the ring, and could he be looking for a win reminiscent of Bronson Daniels over Jack Ripley here tonight?

Deadprez: Perhaps so! But he may just get it as the cobwebs seemed to have been knocked out of Ripley’s head once hitting that post!

Referee: EIGHT! NINE! TE-

Deadprez: RIPLEY BARELY BREAKS THE COUNT! Not gonna have a repeat of Bronson Daniels tonight! BUT RIPLEY WANDERS RIGHT INTO A SIDESTEP HIGH KICK FROM JAMES RANGER! RANGER GOING FOR THE PIN AFTER THAT!

ONNNNNNEEEEEEEE!!

TWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOO!!

Deadprez: RIPLEY KICKS OUT AGAIN! The resilience of Jack Ripley on full display! James Ranger is now put in a spot to reset and readjust the gameplay for his next move! Ranger attempts to grab at the downed Ripley- JACK KICKS UPWARDS AND HIS FOOT CATCHES RANGER AT THE TOP OF HIS HEAD! Ranger tries again to bring Ripley up, JACK ONCE AGAIN TAGS HIM WITH A KICK! JACK TAKES ADVANTAGE OF THE STUNNED RANGER AND TRAPS HIM IN A VICTORY ROLL FROM THE GROUND! THE REFEREE GETS INTO POSITION!

ONNNNEEEEEEEE!!

TWWWWOOOOOOOOO!!

Eve: RANGER KICKS OUT! And now both competitors immediately scramble back to their feet after that close fall! JACK BRINGS THE LEG UP FOR THE YOU’LL FLOAT TOO! THE SUPERKICK COMING CLOSE TO CONNECTING, RANGER WITH TOO MUCH WHEREWITHAL AND CATCHING THE BOOT OF JACK RIPLEY! JACK GETS SPINNER AROUND BY RANGER, AND THROWN INTO THE ROPES! RIPLEY COMES BACK, BUT WITH A HURRICANRANA! THAT ONE CERTAINLY CATCHING RANGER BY SURPRISE!

Gavin Kirkland: RIPLEY CHARGES AT RANGER AND THIS TIME MANAGES TO GET THE FULL TORNADO DDT ON JAMES! THE HEAD OF RANGER JUST BOUNCING OFF THE MAT! But almost as if out of instinct, James almost absorbs the DDT and attempts to get back to his feet! RIPLEY THERE TO SHUT HIM DOWN, THIS TIME WITH AN INVERTED DDT!

Deadprez: Ripley doesn’t look for the pin and instead aims to head on the apron instead! Jack Ripley seems to have cruel intentions in mind for James Ranger! James Ranger, who I don’t think even realizes where’s he’s at right now. But he stumbles over to Ripley on the apron! RIPLEY STICKS HIS BODY THROUGH THE ROPES IN ATTEMPT TO DRIVE HIS SHOULDER INTO THE GUT OF JAMES RANGER! …JAMES SOMEHOW BAITS RIPLEY IN! AVOIDS THE SHOULDER, AND CRACKS RIPLEY WITH A KNEE LIFT!

Eve: Jack just crumples down onto the apron! Ranger attempts to bring him back in the ring- BUT JACK IS THE ONE DOING THE BAITING THIS TIME! RANGER JUST GOT HOTSHOTTED ON THE TOP ROPE! Ranger has no choice but to hunch over to favor that throat of his! JACK RIPLEY USES THIS TIME TO SLING HIMSELF OVER THE TOP ROPE WITH A DDT!

Gavin Kirkland: WAIT! RANGER CAUGHT HIM IN A FIREMAN’S CARRY! RANGER SHIMMIES JACK DOWN AND TURNS IT INTO A SUNSET FINISH!! THE NORTHERN LIGHTS BOMB MAY HAVE LITERALLY DIMMED THE LIGHTS OF JACK RIPLEY! THE PIN IS MADE!

ONNNNNEEEEEEEEE!!

TWWWWWWOOOOOOOO!!

TH-

Eve: You gotta be kidding me! Ripley still able to fight, but how long can he go for? James Ranger just planted him with Sunset Finish and if he follows up with his finisher, this one is gonna be all over!

Deadprez: It seems like a finisher is the plan for James Ranger! He’s scaled himself all the way to the top rope! If Jack Ripley can’t recover in time, this one is all over! Back to Ripley, AND WE’RE GONNA SEE ADVENT DAWN!!

Eve: JACK RECOVERS JUST IN TIME TO STOP THAT ATTEMPT AT ADVENT DAWN FROM HAPPENING! RIPLEY GRABS THE LEG OF RANGER AND PULLS HIM OFF THE TOP ROPE RIGHT ONTO HIS SHOULDER! RANGER IS ON THE SHOULDER OF JACK RIPLEY, RIPLEY FALTERS A BIT LOOKING FOR HIS FOOTING! BUT HE IS ABLE TO STABILIZE! FULL HEAD OF STEAM AND RANGER GOES FACE FIRST INTO THE MIDDLE TURNBUCKLE WITH THAT LAWN DART DONE BY JACK RIPLEY!!

Deadprez: Ranger is nothing BUT glossed over after that lawn dart! Jack Ripley threw him into that middle rope with so much speed, so much velocity, I wouldn’t be surprised if Ranger had a concussion right about now! And if so, that concussion isn’t stopping Ranger one bit! He comes stumbling out of the corner at Jack Ripley- OH NO! YOU’LL FLOAT TOO!! RANGER WALKED RIGHT INTO IT! THE PANIC ON JOYANNE RANGER’S FACE TELLS YOU ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW AS RIPLEY GOES FOR THE PIN!

ONNNNNNNEEEEEEEEE!!

TWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOO!!

THHHHHRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEE!!

(DING! DING! DING!)

Gina Romano: HERE’S YOUR WINNER…JACK RIPLEY!!

(‘BxMxC’ blares once again to a loud reaction from the crowd having watched that awesome match and Ripley is handed over his championship by the referee before getting his hand raised in victory.)

Eve: What can I say? The champion once again proves why he’s the champion.

Deadprez: No doubt about that, Ripley is riding a wave of momentum since Road to Redemption and I don’t know if anyone can knock him off at the state he’s in! Could we possibly say that Ripley has reached the apex of his career?

Eve: I’d proudly say it myself, Ripley is one of the best in the world when it comes to professional wrestling right now. And that must worry Bronson Daniels, he has nothing but his hands full at King of Elite.

Deadprez: Yeah, but he’ll also have his hands full with Kassidy Heart tonight.

Gavin Kirkland: Kassidy Heart. :mjlit:

(The camera pans to Ripley heading to the back with his championship in hand while Ranger is consoled by Joyanne after his crushing defeat as we fade to black.)

(A commercial comes on. A picture of the Maidens of Malpractice just making out pops up. Jake Smith walks in front of it and smiles before looking at the camera with a wink. “You’re welcome.”)

(Showdown returns from break and cuts down to the ring area where Gina is standing by.)

Gina Romano: Ladies and gentlemen… please welcome…. HARLOW REICHERT!

(“Eye of the Tiger” by New Found Glory begins to blast across the PA system and the crowd erupts as Harlow Reichert steps out and begins to make her way down to the ring.)

Gavin Kirkland: :blessed: Thicclow! Thank the Gawds above for this woman blessing us with her presence tonight! I have half a mind to confront Ryan Wilson myself and demand to know why he decided to single out the former PURE Champion as the person who attacked Xavier Williams.

Eve: If you ask me, Ryan Wilson is getting a little too comfortable in his role as General Manager and has really been exercising some questionable judgement as of late. I really don’t think for a second that anyone believes Harlow is the type of person to leave someone for dead.

Deadprez: Well, Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. :wow:

Eve: You seriously don’t believe that, do you, Deadprez?

Deadprez: Nah, but it does still leave us wondering who did attack Xavier? Eventually, someone is going to have to answer for that, and I have no idea how well that is going to go over.

Gavin Kirkland: :lupe:

Eve: :lupe:

(The virtual crowd are still cheering even as Harlow’s music fades. It’s clear that they love her and support her, and she can’t help but notice that. It’s been a long road for Miss No Fucks Give to get to this point, and it seems as if the crowd can sense how hard this conversation is about to be for her. There’s a lot of unresolved issues between Harlow and her former mentor, Xavier Williams. Tonight, those issues get put to bed for good.)

Harlow Reichert: I’m typically the type of person who is blunt and to the point, but even after declaring I was going to call Xavier out to the ring to settle this, I’ve found myself soul searching and trying to find the right words. I’m not ever going to be the type to back down or show any hint of fear, but this whole situation has completely thrown me through a loop. Last season, Ryan Wilson played the two of us like a fiddle, forcing us into the unfair position of choosing whether we sit out Pain for Pride or risk our relationship by facing one another. Xavier said no. He said no to the match and the idea of us facing one another, but I couldn’t. I didn’t listen to him because the only thing I cared about was myself and I was willing to take whatever match I was given. My career went to absolute shit after I lost the PURE Championship and I NEEDED to win at Pain for Pride to get myself back on track. After I was injured at Under Siege, Showdown forgot about me. Ryan Wilson never cared enough to check up and see how I was doing and even after I was cleared, I remained an afterthought. I was barely booked. I had like three matches from the time Under Siege ended until Pain for Pride, and I deserved more. In fact, I’ll say that I still deserve more because as it stands right now, despite holding two pretty decisive victories over a former world champion and company darling, I’m on the outside looking in when it comes to King of Elite, but that’s another conversation for another day. Right now, I’m here to deal with the situation with Xavier.

(Harlow takes a deep breath. Her voice has remained pretty calm this entire time, but her eyes tell a different story. It’s well documented that she’s not the emotional type, but her blue eyes are full of turmoil. It’s been almost a full year since she’s been able to taste any sort of championship gold or positive momentum that hasn’t been halted by absolute fuckery.)

Harlow Reichert: I would like to address this face to face, so Xavier, if you would be so kind.

(That was the best invitation Xavier was going to get, and it had taken a lot of energy for Harlow to muster that. She didn’t necessarily want to face him, but she wasn’t going to allow her name to get slandered anymore and be attached to this attack, and THAT was better left said one-on-one. Harlow keeps her attention on the stage as nothing seems to happen; she takes a deep breath before “Just Being Me” by NF hits and Xavier Williams slowly makes his way out through the curtain. He stands on the stage looking down at the ring staring down at Harlow who stands waiting. He slowly begins to make his way down to the ring, his eyes never leaving Harlow. It’s odd; Xavier has always been someone who has always struggled to hide his emotions, but he’s showing nothing. He’s taking nothing away from anything the virtual crowd is giving him, but it’s more than obvious that he had all of his attention on Harlow. He makes his way up onto the apron and is handed a microphone, slowly stepping through the ropes and enters the ring. “Just Being Me” fades out as the two stand in a ring together for the first time since Pain for Pride.)

Xavier Williams: I’m not going to pretend that I believe that you’re the person that attacked me back in October, Harlow. We both know that it wouldn’t have been Andrea’s head I would have hunted if I thought that you did. I’ve spent a lot of time thinking about the things that I wanted to say when we eventually found ourselves here. There’s been a thousand things that have gone through my mind, but the only thing that I can do here is to say the truth. This isn’t about games. This isn’t about cutting you down. Do you know what I spent the entire week leading into our match at Pain for Pride thinking about? I spent my time thinking about everything that the two of us had been through. Do you remember the first day that we met; walking in late during the class that I was teaching, barely holding a care for anything that was going on? I spent my time thinking about all of the hard work that the two of us put into this. I spent my time thinking about how proud I was about how far you had come. As much as I didn’t want to compete against you at Pain for Pride, knowing what it was always going to create – I was proud of the fact that I had the opportunity to compete against the competitor that you had become. I battled with every piece of it. I knew how much that you wanted Pain for Pride to be the moment that you felt like you had finally put your career back on track. I wanted to walk into Pain for Pride the night where I vanquished my demons on a stage where I had suffered my most debilitating losses. But, with both of our ambitions the one thing that I knew wholeheartedly was that you deserved the respect of facing the best iteration of Xavier Williams that I could bring. I knew you deserved to know that if you did manage to knock me down at Pain for Pride that you beat someone that gave you their absolute all. I was never going to hold back, because I know that if I did – your victory would have always been tainted.

(Xavier drops his head, but the emotion in his voice completely differs from what he showed throughout his entrance.)

Xavier Williams: I took every opportunity that I needed to take at Pain for Pride; punted you in the arm and felt it break. I’m not proud of that, Harlow, but I was never going to waste an opportunity that presented itself. There wasn’t going to be a moment in that match where I wasn’t going to take the shot that I needed to. But, I felt that same pride when you continued to fight. I felt that same pride when you continue to dig deeper and deeper to find levels to your game that I don’t even believe that you knew you had. But… that all meant nothing after you fell. I hoped. I hoped so badly that things weren’t going to change. But, instead of finding the positives; instead of looking at everything that you could take out of that match. That through all of the hardship; the struggles that you faced after losing the PURE Championship. You didn’t look at the heart that you showed. You didn’t take a look at how much you proved as that spotlight shined down on you. You instead ran off to Mexico. I’ve always prided myself on respect for this business. I’ve done a lot of things that people have looked down at me for, but I’ve never ran from my troubles. I fought for everything. I gave everything. I walked into Pain for Pride 9 against DEDEDE; put absolutely everything that I had created on the line for the opportunity at the purest form of immortality in this business and fell short when it all mattered the most. I went to war as one of two men that personified the new generation that led EAW into the future and was left a beaten mess. I didn’t walk away until I knew that I couldn’t give this business anything more. That I had given this business everything that I physically could.

(Xavier looks straight at Harlow as he grits his teeth.)

Xavier Williams: So, after all that the two of us had put into this; after everything that I’ve put into this business. How could you expect me to chase after someone who couldn’t give this business the same respect that I did when I was in your position?

(Harlow was taken aback by that, and as a result, she even took a step back. Xavier’s words were harsh, and they had caught her off guard. Several different thoughts ran through her head, but when she opened her mouth to speak, no words came out. Xavier gave her time to collect herself because it was obvious that wasn’t the answer she had been expecting. A familiar sort of defiance flashed in her blue eyes, and Harlow took a deep breath.)

Harlow Reichert: With all due respect, are you fucking joking right now?

(The bite in her voice and the harshness of her words seemed to catch Xavier off guard. Harlow had never sworn at him before. He had struck a nerve.)

Harlow Reichert: You were in the same building that I was back at Pain for Pride, and you KNEW THAT and WILLING hurt me, then exploited that injury. For someone who has always claimed to have my best interests at heart, did it never occur to you to go straight to the trainer’s office and check on my well-being? I’m far from a selfish person and you know that, but I was hurt and as it turns out on purpose by you. Chasing after me and CHECKING on an injury you caused me are two entirely differently things. I never once expected you to come to Mexico, but fuck you for injuring me and not following up on that.

(Xavier takes a deep breath before that hint of a smile returns to his face.)

Xavier Williams: Someone who always claimed to have your best interests at heart? Take a look back at everything that I did for those eighteen months between Pain for Pride and that first day that we met. Everything that I did was for YOU. Everything that I did was for YOUR benefit. I took you under my wing to make YOU better. I pushed you harder than anyone else was going to because it was what was best for YOUR career. I didn’t want the match at Pain for Pride; I was happy to sit aside and miss the event because I cared about everything the two of us created, but walked through that curtain and competed because it was what YOU wanted. But, have you once sat back and wondered about where I was at mentally after our match, or has your entire focus on this been on the fact that I never walked into that trainer’s office to check if you were alright? Has your focus been on the fact that for one moment of one night in this business that you weren’t my priority? Two weeks ago I spoke about sacrifice. I spoke about the things that I’ve missed throughout my time in this business. The moments that I’ve given up for this business, Harlow. You of all people should understand how much family has to sacrifice for this business. I apologise for being with my daughter. But, if I wasn’t worried about your health – don’t you think that I would have celebrated my victory? Instead, my concern was making sure you were alright in that ring. I made sure that you could get back to your feet. That kind of sounds like someone who had your best interests at heart, doesn’t it?

Harlow Reichert: No.

(Xavier bristled because for the first time in their relationship, he was failing to get through to her.)

Xavier Williams: Really?

Harlow Reichert: Really. You can stand there and twist this situation around to make me look ungrateful, and to make yourself look like the good guy, but you will never be able to take back what happened in that ring. You made a promise to me that you would never hurt me and that you would protect but you threw all of that out the window when push came to shove, and you realized that mending your own broken heart over this business was more important than making sure I didn’t sustain any permanent damage. Broken bones heal and life goes on, but trust being shattered is something that can’t be repaired. I have always given you credit for my success, and I will continue to tell everyone as I progress that you’re the reason I’m here right now. I don’t deny that I was a lost cause until you came along. I lacked discipline, focus, and had absolutely no work ethic. I didn’t respect this sport. I didn’t care about it. I got involved in it by sheer accident and because I literally had nothing else to do with my life. I went from zero to hero to zero once again, and even after I tried to rebuild, I kept getting knocked down. I don’t want to believe the PURE Championship was my peak, but at Pain for Pride, reality hit me hard. I lost a match that I should have won. I failed to get the job done when it mattered the most… again, and to top it off, the only person in this world that I ever let see me at my best and my worst, is the person that put the final nail in my coffin. I’m tired, Xavier. I’m tired of coming so close only to have something happen that takes it from me. I never should have lost the PURE Championship. I never should have been reduced to the role of ‘puppet’ for Ryan Wilson’s amusement, it NEVER should have been a thought of anyone’s to leave Harlow Reichert off the Pain for Pride card, and I really should be standing here as the damn Specialists Champion right now but instead I get to see Constant Blevins get the match against Kasey that should be mine, and I’m not even booked for King of Elite. You have everything. You have a daughter who loves you. You have your own life. You have literally everything you could ever want, but you are selfish and you wanted more, and you didn’t even care that it came at my expense. I don’t think you truly had any clue how badly I wanted to win at Pain for Pride and prove to myself that the PURE Championship wasn’t my ceiling. I really don’t think you know that I actually needed to win that match to prove to myself that I hadn’t wasted any of the time invested in me by you.

(Months of bitterness, hurt, anger, and every other emotion in between had come pouring out of Harlow, and it left the virtual crowd in a state of shock. Everyone had been waiting for this moment between Harlow and Xavier, and now that it was happening, they were holding their breaths waiting to see what else would get said.)

Harlow Reichert: But it didn’t happen. I failed. I got hurt. And I am not going to apologize for taking my ball and going home. Why should I have stayed? I was fucking injured. It isn’t like I could just show up on the draft show and try to redeem myself that way. I had to get out. I had to leave. I had to salvage SOMETHING, even if the only thing I had left was my own pride. I poured everything I had into being PURE Champion. I gave it my all. I don’t know what you want me to say, but I know I don’t care about your feelings right now. It doesn’t matter to me what you went through after the fact. All that matters is I found a way to get past it and finally move on, and you’re the last person I want to deal with. At least you know it wasn’t me that attacked you and left you for dead. Hopefully you can figure out who did it, although I have my suspicions. The fact of the matter is, there is nothing left for either of us to say at this point.

(Harlow bit down on her bottom lip and she had no other choice but to tear her eyes away from Xavier’s. She looked at the ground, gripping the microphone until her knuckles turned white. She had thought about this conversation a million times, but none of that had prepared her for the gravity of it and how it would actually make her feel. She was hurt, broken, and damaged, and very little of that had to do with a wrestling match.)

Harlow Reichert: I do honestly thank you for everything you’ve done for me. I wish I could have done more with it.

Xavier Williams: Look at me.

(When she refused, Xavier took her chin in his hand and tilted her face up to his. She relents and Xavier knows the look in her eyes from a mile away.)

Xavier Williams: You fight… or-

(Xavier begins to speak but is interrupted as “The Only Thing They Fear Is You” by Mick Gordon hits. The sounds of boos from the virtual crowd echo through the theatre as Xavier takes a step back and looks back over his shoulder to see the Showdown General Manager, Ryan Wilson make his way through the curtain and out onto the stage. The look on the face of Xavier Williams tells the entire story as Harlow backs into the corner, running her hands through her hair to get it out of her face. Ryan, as jovial as ever, simply smiles down at the ring.)

Ryan Wilson: Wow! I didn’t think that I was going to have to get the tissue box ready for this one, but that just hits you right in the feels, doesn’t it? The woman that put everything she could into being the champion that she hoped to be, instead let everyone around her down when she couldn’t hold onto that PURE Championship she cherished so much. And then – Xavier – HOW COULD YOU! You ruined everything! You took her moment! She needed to win at Pain for Pride! I gave you both the opportunity to compete against each other at Pain for Pride, and you SELFISHLY took that spotlight for your own! You didn’t let her win! You did everything in your power to make sure that you were the man with your hand raised after that final bell. You’re such a bad guy, gawsh.

(Ryan mockingly puts his hand over his mouth as he pretends to be disgusted.)

Ryan Wilson: If you really think about it, Xavier… as much as she will still stand there and says that she still wishes all the best for you, even after Pain for Pride – you can’t stand there and see that she wasn’t happy for you. You can’t tell me that she wasn’t proud of your moment. You were meant to be the final piece of her miraculous turn around after seemingly having that proverbial rug pulled out from under her after losing the PURE Championship. You were meant to be the person that helped her when she needed it the most but, now you’re the villain of that story… just like you alway end up being Xavier.

(Ryan sees how much that last line gets under the skin of Xavier Williams which brings an immediate smile to his face.)

Ryan Wilson: THAT… that right there shows me that you believe the same thing that I do, Xavier. It may have been a stretch to try and paint Harlow as the person that attacked you months ago, because truthfully – she’s nothing more than a husk of the person that she used to be which leaves me nothing more than disgusted and disappointed. But this isn’t a drama show. This isn’t a romcom. This is a professional wrestling company, and all of this leaves me with half a mind to put you back into another match against each other – wait! THAT’S A PERFECT IDEA!

Harlow Reichert: I’m not doing that again. I’ve said my piece here and I’m done. I’ve moved on.

Ryan Wilson: Clearly you haven’t Harlow, and while I’m the General Manager speaking to one of his Elitists – you’re going to do anything that I tell you to do. If you don’t, maybe you can go join Sierra Bradford on Voltage because I refuse to have insolence on this brand.

Harlow Reichert: Well if that is the attitude that you have, then maybe I’m better off elsewhere. I’m not here to be your puppet, Ryan, and I’m not going to let you jerk me around anymore. I have busted my ass to get myself back on track, and to be honest, I’m a little frustrated that you didn’t see fit to reach out to Captain Charisma and set up a match for me against Kasey for the Specialists Championship. I had her beat. I had that title won. Andrea stuck her nose where it didn’t belong, and after defeating her, I should be moving on to take on Kasey. I’m not going to take a step back and revisit Pain for Pride, and especially not with you forcing the issue again just to get under my skin.

(Harlow’s voice is full of fire, which is something rarely seen. Ryan has a bit of a laugh and shrugs his shoulders.)

Ryan Wilson: Well, if you’re not willing to compete in the match I book you in, then so be it. Harlow, you’re fi-

Xavier Williams: We’re in. She’ll take the match against me.

(Harlow goes wide-eyed as Xavier looks back at her. There wasn’t a part of her that wanted to face him again, but she was once again stuck between a rock and a hard place. Ryan joyfully jumps around on the stage.)

Harlow Reichert: No. Absolutely not. If that prick wants to fire me, then he can fire me. I don’t care. I don’t want anything to do with you.

(Xavier knows that Harlow is letting her emotions talk right now, and that she’s not using her head. His first instinct is to reach for her, but he stops himself. Instead he takes a deep breath.)

Xavier Williams: You fight… or you give up. Those are the two options here, Harlow. I’m not going to let you give up, even if you end up truly hating me for it later. It all comes back to that one word, ‘sacrifice.’ There are moments in your career where you’re going to be able to look back and wholeheartedly know that you did what you needed to do when it mattered the most. There are moments where you’re going to be able to look back at without regret because you made the right decision. I stopped you from making the wrong decision just now, and I hope one day you will understand that. Now, you can stand there and feel sorry for yourself. You can tell yourself that you’re broken. That you put everything into that match at Pain for Pride and look at how it left you. But, if you want your opportunity to prove yourself; to prove that the PURE Championship wasn’t your ceiling. This is it. This is your moment to prove exactly who Harlow Reichert is. This is your moment to prove that everything that the two of us have put into this. The hard work. The blood, the sweat, the tears. That all of it was absolutely worth it. Don’t do it for anyone else. You do this for you. Your greatest moments aren’t when you have the wind at your back – your greatest moments come when you’re forced to pick yourself back up and find a way to push yourself forward.

(Xavier lowers his microphone as he keeps his attention locked on Harlow awaiting her reaction. She takes a slight step forward, a million things running through her mind. Ryan Wilson, doesn’t bother to wait for Harlow to reply.)

Ryan Wilson: WONDERFUL! It’s official. Xavier Williams against Harlow Reichert at King of Elite! See, things are easy when you agree with what I tell you to do. Good luck.

(“The Only Thing They Fear Is You” picks back up as Ryan Wilson claps from the stage as both Harlow and Xavier keep both of their attention on each other in the ring. This certainly wasn’t how either of them expected this to end, but there is nothing that they can do about it now. The camera begins to fade elsewhere with a final shot of the two.)

(The camera then pans backstage.)

(The camera cuts to the backstage hallways where Adam Lucas and MITSUBACHI are shown walking around looking for someone or something. They are seen pointing to various wrestlers and other people backstage before shaking their heads and continuing on their search.)

Adam Lucas: Damn. We are here looking for someone impressive. Someone who can really help us take down Insurgency.

MITSUBACHI: I thought it was Insurrection.

Adam Lucas: Well whatever the fuck their name is they are going to be tough to take down just the two of us. So we had best do all we can to find a decent partner to help us out. We are going to take them down whatever it takes!

MITSUBACHI: You know I heard that one of the members of Insurgency spelled my name with all capital letters. We really have to make those sons of bitches suffer at King of Elite.

Adam Lucas: Come on now take this seriously. What about that guy over there?

(The camera fades over to a dark corner of the hallways where James Ranger is shown doing pull-ups on a metal pipe crossing the ceiling. Adam Lucas and MITSUBACHI make their way over to him and call out for him interrupting his exercise.)

Adam Lucas: Hey Ranger! Get over here. We got something to say to you man!

(James Ranger falls off the metal pipe landing on one leg with perfect balance before stepping over to Adam Lucas and MITSUBACHI to speak with them.)

James Ranger: What’s good brothers?

Adam Lucas: We are here on important business James. This is serious. Insurgency is out of control.

MITSUBACHI: They injured our amigo SEBAS!

James Ranger: Those bastards… Not SEBAS…

Adam Lucas: Indeed SEBAS. At King of Elite we plan to take the fight back to them! But as you can see we are only two men up against all three of them. So we need someone who can fight. Someone reliable. Someone who can step up against them.

James Ranger: And you think that person is me?

MITSUBACHI: We certainly do. You see we saw your match against Jack Ripley earlier.

James Ranger: Ugh yeah I came up short on that one.

Adam Lucas: That may be. That may very well be. However… we think you would be perfect.

MITSUBACHI: That’s right. We love your efforts against all the top talents recently. Sure you may not have won… but that is Jack Ripley we are talking about and win or no win you were damn impressive out there!

Adam Lucas: Besides… at King of Elite it won’t be just you out there. You will have me. You will have MITSUBACHI. We need someone who can fight. Someone with heart. Passion. Who will give it his all regardless of whether they win or lose. You have proven that to be you and we want you to be our third man on the team.

James Ranger: You know I have been paying attention to the other shows… and I really think that what that piece of shit Limmy has been doing is complete bullshit.

MITSUBACHI: Limmy is the worst.

Adam Lucas: Agreed. Fuck Limmy.

MITSUBACHI: All my homies hate Limmy.

Adam Lucas: Come on Ranger. At least think about it. You deserve to be on the King of Elite card. If you turn this offer down who knows? You might be sitting on the bench for yet another big Pay Per View event.

MITSUBACHI: You might not have any personal beef with them like we do but you hate what you see right? And you know you deserve to be on the show. So it is a win for everyone. Don’t do it for us. Don’t do it for Dynasty. Do it for yourself. It is time for you to show the whole world what James Ranger can do live on Pay Per View in one of the biggest matches of the night!

James Ranger: You know what? You are right. It is time the world saw exactly who the Black Mamba really is! I will be your third man at King of Elite. I’m in!

(James Ranger fist bumps with Adam Lucas and MITSUBACHI as their three man team is made official. They head off together discussing strategy formulating a plan to take down their enemies in Insurgency at King of Elite in February.)

(The camera cuts to a commercial for the Subway Tuna Sandwich which is shown to actually be made out of jackfruit and donuts.)

(The camera pans to see Voltage’s finalist TLA, and Dynasty’s finalist Xander Payne ready to do commentary for this match. Gina Romano is inside the ring ready to announce the competitors for the main event.)

( “Monster” by Kanye West blasts through the speakers to a humongous positive reception from the virtual crowd in attendance. Kassidy Heart jerks the curtain and steps onto the entranceway. She soaks in the atmosphere before making her way down towards the squared circle with determination. )

Gina Romano: INTRODUCING FIRST!! From Sydney, Australia, weighing in at 138 pounds… SHE ISSS THE MAULLLERRR… KASSSSSIDDDDDDDDYYY HEARTTTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Xander Payne: Man, I got to tell all of you six shitheads. I used to be a chef at a seafood restaurant in my younger days, and not even the raw seafood I dealt with is as foul as Kassidy Heart. Can someone get me a gas mask or something?

Deadprez: Six shitheads? There’s only five of us here, including you.

Xander Payne: You got a problem? I am just trying to enjoy this time here, even though I don’t want to be here. This bitch ran up on me last night and you expect me to make sense? All I want to do is get drunk and this match ruins the vibe. Fuck Kassidy Heart. TLA, you got any drugs or something? I am always up for something like that.

TLA: Nah, all of that stuff is on backorder. There are some poons in my locker room if you want some of them.

Xander Payne: How dare you? I am happily a married man.

TLA: For now.

Xander Payne: Fuck you, bitch. Come over onto this side and we’ll finish what we started yesterday.

TLA: Nah, I’ll stay right here.

Eve: Hey, hey, let’s all calm down here, gentlemen. Even though I know both of you don’t want to have any business with this main event match-up right here, especially after what transpired after your match, Xander. However, you have no other choice but to keep your eyes on Kassidy Heart in this match tonight. What you both are about to see is wrestling at its finest and Kassidy Heart is going to wow everyone here at the announce table, including you two regardless of your hatred for that woman!

( Xander Payne and TLA stare at each other as Kassidy Heart stands in her designated corner, completely neglecting both of them. Silence fills up the World 1 Theatre before “Runnin” by 21 Savage echoes throughout the venue. The crowd responds with a pop as Bronson Daniels comes

Gina Romano: AND HER OPPONENT!! FROM BROOKLYN, NEW YORK, WEIGHING IN AT 210 POUNDS… THE FREE LIGHTER… BRONNNSONNNNN DAAAAANIELLLLS!!!

Xander Payne: Is that weed? I smell weed.

TLA: The real question is when was the last time you took a shower?

Xander Payne: None of your business fuckface.

TLA: :umad:

Deadprez: Bronson Daniels is slated to go for his second world championship opportunity at King Of Elite against Jack Ripley. Defeating Kassidy Heart will definitely go a long way for this man’s future, but it will also gain him an astronomical amount of momentum heading into the event. However, this is a match between two individuals who are jockeying for momentum before their big matches. Bronson Daniels looks to win his first world championship while Kassidy is focused on making history by becoming the first ever female King Of Elite. Both elitists have huge opportunities come King Of Elite.

Xander Payne: You’re acting like she’s gonna win in the first place. NOT!

( DING! DING! DING! )

Eve: This match is underway as Kassidy Heart and Bronson Daniels meet in the center of the ring! Kassidy and Bronson have been waiting all week to get their hands on each other as their future has huge implications! Kassidy Heart aims on being the first female King Of Elite while Bronson Daniels seeks world championship gold. They both go for a collar-and-elbow tie-up, but Daniels is quick to convert it into a headlock. Kassidy attempts to lift him up into the saito suplex while she’s in the headlock, but Daniels uses the given elevation to roll Kassidy into the canvas for a grounded headlock.

Xander Payne: Rookie mistake!

Deadprez: Daniels wrenching the grounded headlock as Kassidy tries for the leg scissors to no avail. She rolls Daniels over! BUT BRONSON MAINTAINS THE HEADLOCK!! That, however, got both of them off the ground as it allowed Kassidy to bring Bronson into the ropes and free her of the headlock! Bronson comes off the ropes and rebounds back into Kassidy. Kassidy bents over. Daniels jumps over her shoulders. Kassidy turns around! AND DANIELS SOARS UP FOR A CROSSBODY OF SORTS!! BUT KASSIDY CATCHES HIM ACROSS HIS SHOULDERS!! AND LOOKS FOR A SCOOP SLAM!! BUT BRONSON WITH AN INSIDE CRADLE!!

O-

Gavin Kirkland: THE GAWDESS WITH HER GAWD-GIFTED POWER AS SHE DOESN’T EVEN LET THE REFEREE COUNT ONCE!!! Both competitors get up to their feet. Kassidy swings for a punch, Daniels ducks it and grabs her by the back into a back suplex! KASSIDY GOES OVER AND FLATTENS HIM WITH A CROSSBODY!! SHE TURNS IT INTO A CROSSBODY AS SHE HOOKS BOTH LEGS! THIS COULD BE IT!!

O-

TLA: If that was Xander, Daniels would’ve gotten his entire body crushed like a compactor.

Xander Payne: The fuck is that supposed to mean?

Deadprez: Both individuals rise up to their feet once again. BRONSON WITH A KICK TO THE MIDSECTION!! That stops the Mauler in her tracks momentarily as Bronson grabs her wrist and Irish whips her into the ropes.. Kassidy comes off the ropes whereas BRONSON LOOKS TO CHOREOGRAPH A BACK BODY DROP!! KASSIDY ONE STEP AHEAD KICKS BRONSON IN THE FACE!! Heart rebounds off the ropes and looks to follow it up with a clothesline! BRONSON DUCKS DOWN!!! HEART GOES FOR THE BACK, BUT BRONSON JUMPS UP INTO THE AIR FOR A JUMPING BACK ELBOW!!

Eve: KASSIDY CATCHES HIS WAIST IN MID-AIR!!! Kassidy almost drops him for a german suplex, but Bronson evades and brings her down into a grounded headlock. Kassidy gets the leg scissors, but Bronson skips-up out of it! Kassidy gets up to her feet and is IMMEDIATELY SHOT DOWN WITH A JUMPING BACK ELBOW COURTESY OF THE FORMER EAW NEW BREED CHAMPION!! Bronson Daniels is able to connect with the jumping elbow without interruption. He quickly brings Heart back up to her feet and Irish whips her into the corner turnbuckles. Kassidy uses the turnbuckles to jump up in an attempt to go over Daniels! However, Daniels saw it coming and stopped himself in the center of the ring. He grabs Kassidy and rotates her. AND CLOCKS HER WITH A HAYMAKER!! NO!! KASSIDY DUCKS IT AND GOES INTO THE ROPES!! SHE COMES OFF AND SENDS DANIELS FLYING INTO THE OPPOSITE SIDE OF THE RING WITH A SENSATIONAL HURRICANRANA!! FOLLOWED UP BY A PRECISION DROPKICK TO THE FACE!! KASSIDY HOVERS OVER FOR THE LATERAL PRESS!!

ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!

TW-

Deadprez: KICK-OUT!! Kassidy quickly muscles him into the corner and starts unveiling roundhouse kicks after roundhouse kicks! She nails him with an European uppercut before taking him down into the center of the ring with a snapmare. Kassidy rebounds off the ropes! AND COMES SLIDING DOWN TO DRILL DANIELS WITH A SLIDING FOREARM SMASH!!! KASSIDY QUICKLY GOES FOR THE COVER! WHAT A FOREARM SMASH!!

ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!

TW-

Deadprez: KICK-OUT!! Kassidy Heart with a sensational forearm smash that nearly put Bronson Daniels away for good!

Xander Payne: What are you talking about? All she did was jump down and smack Bronson with her arm. How was that sensational?

TLA: Quit hating on Kassidy and enjoy this match. You’re just like the wrestling neckbeard.

Gavin Kirkland: TLA spittin’ facts for once as we go back to the ring now. The beautiful Kassidy Heart hoists Bronson up into a powerbomb! BUT DANIELS HOPS OVER HER SHOULDERS AND EVADES THE POWERBOMB!!! Kassidy turns around. Bronson goes for a thrust kick to the midsection. Heart grabs his foot to block it. BRONSON JUMPS UP WITH HIS OTHER FOOT AND NAILS KASSIDY IN THE SIDE OF HER HEAD WITH A MULE KICK!!! A MULE KICK SENDS MY KASSIDY REELING INTO THE CORNER TURNBUCKLES AS BRONSON DANIELS LOOKS TO CHARGE INTO HER LIKE A MACK TRUCK!!

Deadprez: WAIT!! KASSIDY INTERCEPTS AND GRABS HIM!! The Mauler lifts him up and sits him on the top turnbuckle! AND NAILS BRONSON WITH A DROPKICK!! Bronson Daniels splatters onto the ringside floor as this gives the opportunity for Kassidy to go airborne!! SHE RUNS THE ROPES!! AND SHE SOARS INTO THE SKIES ONTO THE FORMER EAW NEW BREED CHAMPION WITH A TOPE SUICIDA!! TOPE SUICIDA FLATTENS DANIELS ON THE OUTSIDE AS KASSIDY BRINGS HIM BACK INTO THE RING!!

Xander Payne: What a stupid move to go into the air! Kassidy could’ve missed and possibly ended her career! Bronson now immediately rolls out of the ring and Kassidy is going to go high risk once again! KASSIDY SHITFACE GOES INTO THE SKIES FOR A TOPE CON HILO I THINK??? THIS ISN’T GOING TO END WELL!!

Eve: THE MAULER CONNECTS WITH THE TOPE CON HILO ONTO BRONSON DANIELS!! KASSIDY SUCCEEDS WITH YET ANOTHER HIGH-RISK MANEUVER AS THIS MATCH HAS BEEN ALL KASSIDY HEART THUS FAR!!!! KASSIDY HEART BRINGS HIM BACK INTO THE RING, SPRINGS OFF THE TOP ROPE AND LANDS AN ELBOW DROP ACROSS THE CHEST OF BRONSON DANIELS!! THIS COULD BE IT!!

Xander Payne: Well, guess I was wrong.

ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

Deadprez: KICK-OUT!!! Like Eve mentioned, this match has come up all Kassidy Heart so far. Kassidy is demonstrating exactly why she has a great chance of beating you two at the King Of Elite finals. Technically, she has a lot of pressure on her as not only is she the first female elitist to compete in the King Of Elite finals, but she has the opportunity to become the first ever female King Of Elite.

TLA: That’s a bit of a stretch.

Xander Payne: The only thing Kassidy is the King of is the kitchen! Fuck are you talking about? :mjlol:

Gavin Kirkland: Yaaasss Xander! Preach!

Xander Payne: Is there something wrong with you?

Gavin Kirkland: No. You?

Xander Payne: :dahell:

Eve: Kassidy steps through the ropes and grabs the top rope with both hands. Bronson Daniels winds up to his feet but that decision to get up might not bode well for him! KASSIDY SPRINGS OFF THE ROPE AND LEAPS INTO DANIELS’ DIRECTION FOR THE LEAPING KNEE STRIKE!! WAIT!! DANIELS ROLLS INTO THE RING AND EVADES THE KNEE!! KASSIDY ROLLS INTO THE CENTER OF THE RING AS SHE TURNS AROUND!! DANIELS DOUBLE CHOP THRUSTS THE MIDSECTION, KICKS HER IN THE FACE AND CLOCKS HER JAW WITH A SPINNING DOUBLE HEEL KICK!! Kassidy is staggered as Bronson Daniels keeps her onto her feet!

Deadprez: Bronson Daniels is maintaining her balance before he looks at the corner turnbuckles… He quickly sprints towards them and steps up the turnbuckles!! KASSIDY IS ON SPAGHETTI LEGS WHILE DANIELS LEAPS OFF THE TOP TURNBUCKLES!! AND DRIVES THE MAULER INTO THE CANVAS WITH A TWISTING CROSSBODY!! DANIELS QUICKLY HOOKS BOTH LEGS FOR THE WIN!! THIS COULD BE IT!!

ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO-

Deadprez: KASSIDY POWERS OUT AT TWO!! Bronson Daniels continues to apply gas on the pedal as stands in the corner! Kassidy is gingerly getting up to her feet while Daniels is powering himself up! HE STEPS TOWARDS KASSIDY AND SPINS AROUND FOR THE SPINNING ROUNDHOUSE KICK!! KASSIDY BLOCKS THE GUNSMOKE ATTEMPT AND DROPS HIM DOWN WITH BOTH LEGS!! SHE DECLINES BACKWARDS AND SLINGSHOTS HIM OVER THE TOP ROPE!!! BRONSON CLINGS FOR DEAR LIFE ONTO THE TOP ROPE, BUT THE GRIP IS RELIEVED AS KASSIDY NAILS HIM IN THE BACK OF HIS HEAD WITH A SUPERKICK!!

Eve: KASSIDY WITH A SMIRK ON HER FACE AS SHE NOW SPRINTS ACROSS THE RING!! FOR A SECOND TOPE SUICIDA IN THIS MATCH!!

Xander Payne: PUNCH THAT BITCH FACE!! YES!!!!

Eve: BRONSON DANIELS NAILS HER THROUGH THE ROPES WITH THE SUPERMAN PUNCH AS HE NOW SLIDES INTO THE RING AND FORCES INTO THE CORNER!! HE JUMPS UP ONTO HER WITH BOTH LEGS!!! HE FALLS BACKWARDS!! AND CATAPULTS THE FORMER NATIONAL ELITE CHAMPION WITH A DEVASTATING MONKEY FLIP!! WHAT A MONKEY FLIP AS DANIELS NOW GOES OVER FOR THE COVER!! SIDEPRESS PIN!! COUNT IT, REF!!

ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

T-

Gavin Kirkland: YES!! KASSIDY MIRACULOUSLY HOISTS HER SHOULDER UP AT TWO!! BRONSON ALMOST HAD HER RIGHT THERE BUT U SHOULD NEVER UNDERESTIMATE THE PURE STRENGTH OF THE MAULER!!! Bronson Daniels is in the corner once again looking to connect with Gunsmoke! BRONSON CHARGES INTO HER FOR GUNSMOKE ONCE AGAIN!! BUT KASSIDY DUCKS THE SPINNING ROUNDHOUSE KICK AGAIN!! KASSIDY IS ABLE TO EVADE GUNSMOKE AS SHE NAILS DANIELS IN THE JAW WITH A SPINNING HEEL KICK!! BUT DANIELS MANAGES TO INSTINCTIVELY HIT THE SPINNING ROUNDHOUSE KICK IN RESPONSE!! GUNSMOKE CONNECTS, BUT IT DOESN’T STOP KASSIDY FROM REBOUNDING OFF THE ROPES AND GRABBING HIS WAIST!! AND THROWING HIM OVER WITH A SNAP GERMAN SUPLEX!! WHERE THE HELL IS THE GAWDESS GETTING THIS BOOST OF ENERGY FROM!!
