(EAW intro plays)
(Showdown opens up with a recap of everything that happened in last week’s Showdown. Kennedy Street announces various things, including two triple threat matches for a N1C at the Answers World Championship and National Elite Championship respectively, with Kirk suddenly interrupting and entering Kennedy’s office demanding a chance. Damien Kutcher and Jade Phoenix defeat Clayton Golde and Daniella Atlas. Auburn Ware states that she won’t continue letting Devolution run around causing chaos and Hikari Kanno joins in, allying with Auburn in this objective. Jon Kelton defeats Daryl Kinkade to go onto the Showdown semifinals of King of Elite. Adam Lucas and Chef Viz come out going on a quick back and forth between each other before they give their Pick your Poison opponents, Chef Viz facing Kirk Redwood and Adam Lucas facing Mattias Burke. Hikari and Miku have a dispute, Miku wanting to know why Hikari is now focusing on Devolution again when they should be focusing on getting the tag team championships. Caroline defeats Nikki Kimura. Princess Candice Blair gets the beheaded head of Mickey Mouse as a gift from Bea Valentine. ARIA is very mysterious about something she talked about with Kennedy Street, as Kyra tries to get something out of her but she can’t. PJ Hendrx defeats Solomon Stane after a distraction from Dr. Bethany Blue to advance to the semifinals of King of Elite, as after the match Bethany injures Trixie, as Adam tries to have a talk with Bethany about not resorting to these kinds of tactics but Bethany doesn’t listen to him. Ashlynn Quinn tries to apologize to Veena about what happened at the girl’s night out as Veena reiterates she isn’t angry about it, but considering Ashlynn is going to fight her for her championship, she won’t be forgiving to her. Minerva defeats Pandora Paisley in the main event of Showdown, as Usagi tries to lay Minerva out but Minerva fights back and she instead lays out Usagi.)
(The recap ends, and it is replaced with the song “Brick Wall” by a Day to Remember, as the camera pans around the inside of Estadio Mary Terán de Weiss in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Blue fireworks are shooting out of the stage and the Showdown crowd can be seen cheering in excitement. The camera ends up panning over to the commentary table with Deadprez, Eve and Gavin Kirkland as the commentators.)
Eve: Welcome everybody…TO SATURDAY NIGHT SHOWDOWN!!!
Deadprez: We are getting closer and closer to King of Elite with things heating up between all of the wrestlers in the Showdown brand, we have a lot of matches for you today as well! Newcomer Jane Chrissty goes up against Zaraguzen, Princess Candice Blair fights Madison Kaline, Kasai fights Hikari Kanno and Chef Viz fights Kirk Redwood!
Eve: As well as the National Elite Champion Veena Adams facing off against Delilah Rose, the Answers World Champion Adam Lucas fighting Mattias Burke and our main event being the Showdown Semifinals of the King of Elite Tournament, as we see Jon Kelton face off in a rematch against none other than PJ Hendrx!
Gavin Kirkland: AND WE START OFF TONIGHT WITH THE VERY EVIL BUT INCREDIBLY BEAUTIFUL USAGI SENSHI, LET’S GET RIGHT ON WITH IT!
(As Showdown opened up, ‘A Cruel Angel’s Thesis’ by Yoko Takahashi started playing on the speakers and the crowd immediately started booing in an incredibly loud manner, louder than for most of the people who usually came out, and it was clear why because of what Usagi did on Voltage last week. She slowly stepped out and the boos somehow got louder, as her expression didn’t show a single bit of emotion when the people received her that way, it seems she was already used to that kind of reaction when she came out.)
Gavin Kirkland: Man, why does evil have to look so amazing?
Eve: I am surprised I am agreeing with Gavin on this, but what Usagi did last week on the Voltage show was just downright evil, completely cruel and maybe inhumane in a way, Minerva didn’t do anything at all to try and make Usagi get to those kind of levels, but she ended up crossing the line and attacking one of Minerva’s closest friends and forcing her to watch as she did that kind of thing, a lot of us thought that maybe the old Usagi was still inside there in some way but it is clear that we are indeed seeing a new Usagi, an Usagi that won’t be afraid of taking these kinds of roads.
Deadprez: It is normal that in EAW things like this end up happening, that feuds between two people will get so heated one of them makes it become incredibly personal, and it seems this is just another example of that happening with Usagi trying to get under Minerva’s skin and get her in a completely different mindset heading into their match, but knowing Minerva, it might backfire on her if she isn’t careful, but it seems she doesn’t care about that anymore seeing the reception she is getting while walking to the ring.
(Usagi continues walking down the ramp as calm as ever, completely ignoring the reception that she is getting from the crowd, it even seems that a small smile appears for a few seconds but it is gone as soon as it arrives, her expression not breaking at all as she walks over to ringside and towards the timekeeper’s area, she grabs a microphone and a chair. She walks up the steel stairs and goes through the ropes, walking over and setting up the chair in the middle before she sat down, as her theme song died down and the boos didn’t let up at all, as she tried various times to try to talk but the crowd didn’t let her, as she suddenly raised her voice.)
Usagi Senshi: Shut up and listen, you miserable human beings!
(The crowd doesn’t take that insult very well but it seems they finally died down after a bit and Usagi ignored them and continued talking.)
Usagi Senshi: I want to start off by giving a quick apology to Pandora Paisley and for what happened to her last week, did a small mistake by taking too long on attacking Minerva and I was left laying on my ass but no worries, I ended up bringing back what happened in blood or well, what is most closest to it.
(Usagi laid on the chair in a completely relaxed manner as the boos came back and she began talking through them.)
Usagi Senshi: Keep that smile on your face, Pandora, because I am going to make it all worth it when I take away the Universal Women’s Championship from Minerva and finally crown myself as the worthy world champion that I deserve to be, it doesn’t matter at all what I have done to get to this position or what I have done for all of you to hate me so much, you were already booing me for doing something that I should have done a long time ago, for doing the right thing for my career and now I get hated even more because I have done something that is considered “cruel”, something that shouldn’t be forgiven at all, are all of you fucking with me or what? Do all of you forget what I had to go through when I first arrived here and towards this point? I was the one who was treated in an inhumane way by all of my co-workers, being wrongly accused as being an abuser and hearing insults and jokes about my relationship countless of times, and did you not expect me to explode and do something like this? It is all of your fault why I ended up having to go to these lengths, the only people that you have to blame for everything is YOURSELVES.
Usagi Senshi: I deserve to hold the Universal Women’s Championship after all of the hard work that I put into the company, after thousands of failures and having to hear so many times from people that I do not deserve to be here, that I am not a wrestler, that I will be nothing but a has-been in this company, but I am still here in this company despite everything that has happened, funny how that works? Even after having my wings get cut and being forced in the shadow of my former friend, and ARIA making all of you believe that she was the real star of everything, I finally put her away at Road to Redemption once and for all and now I FINALLY have the chance of not being dragged down by her, I finally have the chance of being able to prove, not to all of you, to prove to only myself that I am indeed worthy of being a world champion of this company, but let us be completely honest, I am pretty much already there. Minerva can talk all about her being injured when going into our match, about how she is 10 times better than what she was one year ago, but I have been able to grow in so many ways as well, don’t you see this change I have gone through has actually brought me success despite what people tried to say to me? I showed greatness ever since I arrived, it was just blocked and hidden away by another woman and now that I can show it in an all of its glory, I will demonstrate how much it has grown through all of these years when I become one of the few women to pin Minerva and beat her, especially when she is heading into our match with the mental state that she is in? You might even say it will be a piece of cake.
Usagi Senshi: It was soooo easy being able to find where Minerva lived, and then find out where her fortune teller friend as well, I just had to send loud and clear a message to Minerva to show her that I am not going to be like anybody else she has completely beaten and be gone so easily, I even took the time to take care of her friend, Tessa, and get a quick reading from her, and would you believe what she told? She told me that the future has me as the new Universal Women’s Champion, so even fate is on my side. What will you do about it now-
(Suddenly, the lights around the arena completely turned off and everyone looked confused on what was happening, even Usagi as a spotlight was shined down on the ring and the titantron came to life, turning on and showing a video of a completely dark room, with a table right in the middle and a deck of tarot cards on top of it. As the camera slowly panned and showed a woman sitting on a chair close to the table, of course being none other than Minerva! The crowd finally cheered as Minerva slowly twirled around in her hands a black rose while Usagi sat there in the ring confused and surprised at what she was seeing. She slowly put the rose aside and began talking towards the camera.)
Minerva: Foolish, is it not?
Minerva: You know… I never believed you had it in you to do something like this to me. I knew since the beginning that you weren’t someone to trust, ever since I met face to face with you the first time, I knew there was something wrong with how the way you carried yourself, the way you acted towards the people around you, the way you acted towards life and how you talked to me, and it seems I wasn’t wrong at all once you ended up showing your true colors. But there was still that one foolish part of me that still believed in you, that your skills on that ring and the so-called fire you showed gave me hope that maybe I ended up saying something wrong and that you were indeed the person you said you were meant to be, someone to adore and respect. But after what you did to my friend, that part of me has been completely sealed away…
Minerva: You crossed the line, and you will pay for it.
(Minerva grabbed the tarot cards and then she started shuffling them on her hands while she continued talking.)
Minerva: You tell me the reason why you did this to my friend is because the world pushed you to do this, but that is the most bullshit excuse I have ever heard in my life, I don’t care about the world when it is something I haven’t done, even when I accused you of being a snake and of you lying to save your face the first time we faced, I never went at you for the false accusations thrown at you, I never treated you like an insect like everyone else did, I was as honest as I could be, you still had talent, you still had the fight, but you had all of those sins weighing down on your back and if you took those as honest words as just verbal attacks, then it isn’t my fault at all on the way that you understood that. So what do you expect me to do now? You want me to go eye for an eye and go after someone that is close to you? Because I have done that before, I have no mercy with that kind of stuff, I have gone as far as to insult and degrade the deceased brother of one of the competitors I have faced here in EAW, I can do worse than what you have done to me… but I have grown up from the woman I have been all those years ago, and I am not going to lower down to your level. But even with that, you seemingly cut your ties with your family, you pushed away your ex-girlfriend, you betrayed and accused your best friend with lies, and you have said countless times you don’t even consider your allies as friends in fear they will hurt you in the future. I am pretty sure you have done all of the damage to yourself already.
Minerva: This could have been a simple match to test your skills but your desperation sealed your death warrant.
(Minerva finishes shuffling the cards and then she calmly lays them out on the table one by one.)
Minerva: You tell me fate is on your side, although I wouldn’t be surprised if Tessa told you a lie as a fuck you for doing what you did to her. But even if indeed fate was on your side, I don’t care what the future entails for me, I will do everything in my power to change fate itself.
(She then finished putting down all of the cards and calmly let her hand float around before she grabbed one in particular, she slowly lifted it up and then showed it towards the camera. It was the Hanged Man.)
Minerva: The Hanged Man. The man in this card is Odin, the norse God who hung from the World Tree for nine days to earn the knowledge of the Runes. He did so without moving physically, but it was through spirit that he found the answers he needed. Through sacrifice of his physical freedom, he became spiritually enlightened. This card symbolizes the sacrifice of one self, sacrificing something you cherish or adore to be able to find the answers that you seek. You sacrificed everything, your friends, your family, your love, your reputation, the respect of the people around you to become the person that you are and the reward that you expect is the Universal Women’s Championship, so what will it be? You sacrifice to gain something new or…
(Minerva slowly reverses the card so that the man instead of hanging, is standing, the meaning of the card completely changing once it is reversed.)
Minerva: You sacrifice to gain nothing but more burdens?
Minerva: You did this to yourself.
(After those words, the titantron completely shuts off and Usagi stands there, incredibly confused as once again, the lights completely go out for a few seconds and once they come back…)
Eve: MINERVA IS STANDING NOW ON THE RING! SHE IS BEHIND USAGI AS SHE GRABS THE CHAIR USAGI BROUGHT TO THE RING!
Deadprez: MINERVA SLAMS THE CHAIR ONTO USAGI’S BACK AND USAGI FALLS AS MINERVA WITHOUT MERCY STARTS SLAMMING THE CHAIR OVER AND OVER ONTO USAGI AS THE CROWD COMES UNGLUED SEEING THIS WOMAN GET WHAT WAS COMING TO HER!
Gavin Kirkland: WHY DO THESE LADIES ALWAYS HAVE TO FIGHT?!
Eve: MINERVA THROWS THE CHAIR AWAY AND THEN SHE STARES DOWN USAGI WITH ABSOLUTE ANGER IN HER EYES! It seems she is not going to need the chair for what she is about to do!
Deadprez: MINERVA UNLEASHES EVERYTHING SHE HAS ONTO USAGI! SHE TAKES HER DOWN WITH A LOU THESZ PRESS AND SHE STARTS NAILING CLOSED FISTS PUNCHES DOWN ONTO USAGI! SHE LIFTS HER UP BY HER HAIR AND HITS HER DOWN WITH A CLOTHESLINE! SHE LIFTS HER UP AGAIN AND HITS HER WITH A FISHERMAN SUPLEX! AND THEN SHE LIFTS HER A THIRD TIME FOR A BIG GERMAN SUPLEX, THROWING USAGI ACROSS THE RING WHILE THE CROWD GOES WILD!
Eve: Usagi is now on wobbly legs as Minerva stands there like a predator waiting for its prey… SHE GRABS USAGI AND LIFTS HER UP! ATLAS FAAALLSSSS-
Gavin Kirkland: BUT USAGI PUSHES MINERVA AWAY AND QUICKLY ROLLS OUT OF THE RING AS FAST AS SHE CAN BEFORE MINERVA CAN CONTINUE GETTING HER HANDS ON HER!
(Usagi backs up the ramp while the crowd boos loudly at her, backing and running off to live to see another day while Minerva is standing there in the ring seeing Usagi run off like a coward. “Blood, Milk & Sky” by White Zombie plays on the speakers as Minerva sits down in the chair this time and stares down with a death stare at Usagi leaving, no matter what happens, no matter what she does, she won’t stop until Usagi lays unmoving in that mat and she still stands tall as the Universal Women’s Champion. And on that note, Showdown fades away to commercials.)
( The camera opens up to show Gina Romano present in the ring with a microphone in hand. )
Gina Romano: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN THE OPENING CONTEST IS SCHEDULED FOR ONE FALL!
Crowd:ONE FALL!
( ‘Spanish Flea’ by Herb Alpert begins to play throughout the arena as the crowd begins to give a positive reaction as Zaraguzen makes his way from the back, down the ramp, and eventually into the ring. )
Gina Romano: INTRODUCING FIRST, FROM SHADOW REALM, OHIO, WEIGHING IN AT TWO HUNDRED POUNDS, HE IS… ZARAGUZEN!!!!!
( ‘Spanish Flea’ fades out and is immediately replaced with ‘I’m Still Standing’ by Elton John as the crowd erupts at the arrival of Jane Christy who immediately begins acknowledging her fans before heading down to the ring with a focused look on her face. )
Gina Romano: AND HER OPPONENT, FROM PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA, WEIGHTING IN AT ONE HUNDRED AND THREE POUNDS, SHE IS’ THE DAMAGED SOUL’ JANE!! CHRISTY!!!
( Ding! Ding! Ding! )
DeadPrez: And here we go as Zaraguzen immediately charges at Jane Christy throwing a swift clothesline at the much smaller Christy who instinctively ducks underneath it! Showing some serious athleticism and body control as she returns back to a vertical base! BUT AS SOON AS SHE DOES SHE’S MET WITH A REBOUND LARIAT FROM ZARAGUZEN THAT NEARLY TURNS HER INSIDE OUT!
Eve: Jane thought she had it telegraphed but Zaraguzen would not be denied as he quickly drags her to the center of the ring! It’s there that Zaraguzen goes for a quick pin!

Gavin Kirkland: BUT JANE CHRISTY QUICKLY KICKS OUT! Zaraguzen wastes absolutely no time making it back to their feet as Jane begins stirring on the ground. Jane makes it back to a knee and as soon as she does Zaraguzen rushes in CONNECTING WITH A BIG BOOT THAT NEARLY TAKES JANES HEAD OFF!
DeadPrez: Jane is having a hard time getting out of the gate here and it’s showing as every move she takes is becoming increasingly harder for her to shake off! Zaraguzen isn’t wasting any time as he immediately walks over to pick the smaller Christy up as she tries to shake the cobwebs. Zaraguzen realizes he has full control of this match as he picks Jane up to her feet and places her over his shoulders! ZARAGUZEN BEGINS TO SPIN JANE AROUND ON HIS SHOULDERS BEFORE TOSSING HER OFF OF THEM EXECUTING A MODIFIED FIREMANS CARR– WAIT!
Eve: JANE FINALLY SHOWING SIGNS OF LIFE AS SHE COUNTERS AT THE VERY LAST MOMENT TAKING HOLD OF ZARAGUZENS HEAD AND DRIVING HIM FACE FIRST INTO THE CANVAS! THIS MAY BE THE CHANGE IN PACE JANE NEEDED AS ZARAGUZEN LOOKS SLIGHTLY SHOCKED AND CONFUSED AT WHAT JUST HAPPENED!
Gavin Kirkland: JANE CHRISTY JUST SHIFTED THE TIDE OF THIS MATCH! IMMEDIATELY SHE KIPS UP OFF THE GROUND AND IT’S THERE WHERE SHE BEGINS HER ASSAULT ON ZARAGUZEN! THROWING ELBOWS AND KNEES THAT GO UNANSWERED!
DeadPrez: ZARAGUZEN SITS UP IN A DAZE AND AS SOON AS HE DOES JANE RUSHES TOWARDS THE ROPES, FIRING OFF THEM AND DELIVERING A BIG BASEMENT DROPKICK THAT FORCES ZARAGUZENS HEAD TO WHIPLASH! JANE WASTES NO TIME AS SHE JUMPS ON TOP OF ZARAGUZEN AND PINS HIM LOOKING TO GET THIS ONE OVER QUICKLY!

Eve: ZARAGUZEN GETS THE SHOULDER UP! And it’s of no surprise whatsoever to Jane Christy who simply shrugs her shoulders and gets back on the attack. Jane picks Zaraguzen back up to his feet and whips him into the corner! As soon as Zaraguzen back slams into the turnbuckle, Jane charges in AND LEAPS INTO THE AIR SANDWICHING ZARAGUZEN BETWEEN HERSELF AND THE CORNER! ZARAGUZEN IMMEDIATELY SEEPS INTO THE CORNER AND ONCE HE DOES JANE BACKS UP AND CHARGES IN ONCE MORE JUMPING INTO THE AIR BEFORE MEETING ZARAGUZEN IN THE CORNER ONCE MORE CONNECTING WITH DOUBLE KNEES TO THE FACE!
Gavin Kirkland: ZARAGUZEN JUST ATE THOSE KNEES AND HE HAS ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA WHAT JUST HAPPENS AS HE SINKS INTO CANVAS! JANE CHRISTY PICKS ZARAGUZEN UP AND IMMEDIATELY PLACES HIM ON HER SHOULDERS! JANE TRANSITIONS ZARAGUZEN INTO THE POWERBOMB POSITION AND IMMEDIATELY PLANTS HIM ON HIS BACK BEFORE SCRAMBLING ON TOP OF HIM TO HOOK THE LEG!! THIS COULD BE IT!

DeadPrez: ALMOST BUT ZARAGUZEN KICKS OUT! The reaction on Jane Chrisstys face is a little bit different now. She was certain she did enough to pick up the win but Zaraguzen is as tough as they come!
Eve: Zaraguzen begins to stir on the ground as Jane makes it back up to her feet. She immediately goes to help him return to a vertical base but as soon as she goes to grab his hair, Zaraguzen connects with a stiff blow to the ribs that doubles Jane over! Jane begins to grasp for air as Zaraguzen connects with yet another stiff blow! This one connecting in the abdomen knocking all of the air from the lungs of Jane Chrissty! ZARAGUZEN CONTINUES FIGHTING BACK AS HE SENDS SHOT AFTER SHOT THAT GOES UNASWERED! ZARAGUZEN FINALLY MAKES IT BACK TO HIS FEET AND ONCE HE DOES HE GRABS THE ARM OF JANE CHRISSTY AND WHIPS HER TOWARDS THE ROPES! JANE FIRES OFF THEM RETURNING TO ZARAGUZEN WHO IMMEDIATELY POPS HER UP INTO THE AIR BEFORE ALLOWING HER TO FALL DOWN AND ONCE SHE DOES HE FLOORS HER WITH AN ELBOW!!!
Gavin Kirkland: JANE EATS ALL OF THAT ELBOW AND IMMEDIATELY FALLS TO THE CANVAS ON BOTH KNEES STILL DISPLAYING ENOUGH FIGHT AND RESILIENCE TO STAY IN THIS THING DESPITE EATING A BLOW THAT WOULD HAVE TAKEN OUT MOST PEOPLE TWICE HER SIZE!
DeadPrez: ZARAGUZEN TAKES ADVANTAGE OF THE OPPORTUNITY AT HAND AS HE FIRES OFF THE ROPES AND RUSHES STRAIGHT TOWARDS THE DOWNED JANE CHRISSTY! ZARAGUZEN QUICKLY STICKS OUT HIS ARM CONNECTING WITH A LARIAT CLOTHESLINE THAT NEARLY DECAPITATES JANE! ZARAGUZEN RUSHES TO MAKE THE COVER!!!

Gavin Kirkland: ZARAGUZEN IS TRYING TO KEEP HIS COMPOSURE AS HE WALKS OVER TO JANE AND PULLS HER UP TO A VERTICAL BASE! HE IMMEDIATELY PLACES JANE OVER HIS SHOULDER ATTEMPTING TO END THIS ONCE AND FOR ALL AND ALMOST INSTINCTIVELY HE TOSSES JAN– NO WAIT JANE THROWS AN ELBOW! SHE’S TRYING TO FIGHT OUT OF THIS! DeadPrez: ZARAGUZEN BEGINS HOLDING HIS HEAD! AS JANE SLIDES BEHIND HIM! JANE TURNS ZARAGUZEN AROUND ZODIAC BREAKER! THE CODE BREAKER CONNECTS! KNEE’S MEET FACE!! JANE GOT ALL OF IT AS ZARAGUZEN CRUMBLES TO THE CANVAS!! JANE INSTANTLY HOOKS THE LEG! THIS ONE COULD BE OVER!!!

Eve: NO! SO CLOSE BUT ZARAGUZEN HAS THE WHEREWITHAL TO KICK OUT!! JANE LOOKS ABSOLUTELY SHOCKED THAT, THAT WASN’T ENOUGH TO PUT ZARAGUZEN AWAY! BUT SHE NEEDS TO KEEP HER COMPOSURE HERE! SHE’S ONE BIG MOVE AWAY FROM ENDING THIS, BUT THAT’S ONLY IF SHE CAN KEEP THE PRESSURE ON!
Gavin Kirkland: Zaraguzen doesn’t even look like he knows where he is! He ate the full force of that codebreaker, and let’s not forget, Jane has been actively working him down all match long! But at the same time Zaraguzen has been picking his spots and connecting with some hard-hitting offense of his own! Neither one of them can have much left in the tank and I’d hazard to say that whoever can land one bigger move may be the one to win this one!
DeadPrez: Zaraguzen is still down and out and Jane is taking her time to put this one away as she slowly begins ascending up the turnbuckle looking to throw the biggest move in her arsenal at her opponent! JANE REACHES THE TOP TURNBUCKLE AND BEGINS MEASURING HER OPPONENT BEFORE TAKING A LEAP— STOMP INDUCED TRAUMA!! THE DIVING DOUBLE FOOTSTOMP CONN–

DeadPrez: What a solid back and forth here tonight in a match that honestly could have gone either way. Zaraguzen put up one heck of a fight but tonight Jane Christy would not be denied!
Eve: Jane Christy showed a certain level of resilience and ambition here tonight that doesn’t go unseen. And it’s only a matter of time before we see that start to pay off for her! Congratulations to her! The future is looking very bright!

(Showdown comes back from commercials and the camera focuses on the ring where, once more as the conductor of the face off between these three women, was Alana Starr. She was once again welcomed in by boos from the crowd as that bright smile but obvious fake smile never left her face at all as she spoke in the middle of the ring.)
Alana Starr: It is GOOD to see all of you once again ladies and gentlemen, it is practically a part time job for me being a conductor for these meetings, dare I say, it fits me because I am a very GOOD wrestler when I am not helping my bestie Kennedy with her general manager job so I very much understand while she puts for me for these things. Either way, I will put myself in the spotlight another time since all of you have come to see these women, so without further adieu, let’s welcome them!
(‘Old Scars/Future Hearts’ by All Time Low plays on the speakers as the crowd comes unglued when hearing that song, a few seconds passing before Raven Roberts walked out with a confident step and a calm smile on her face as she welcomed in the cheers of the crowd, nodding her head while she walked down towards the ring.)
Gavin Kirkland: Aw man, three beautiful women in the ring and we are starting off with Raven-
Eve: Don’t you dare start now.
Gavin Kirkland: Hey, I am just going to make a quick compliment to an amazing wrestler like Raven!
Eve: Yeaahh rightttt…
Deadprez: I am betting that he can’t shut up about women for the rest of the entrances.
Gavin Kirkland: Oh yeah? It is a bet then!
Eve: Anyway, we welcome first Raven Roberts to the ring, as she has had a very chaotic return to EAW so far, dealing with Devolution and then making a friendly match against Madison that ended up having Caroline interfere on it and insert herself to it too, but it can be seen that she has missed the chaos of EAW in a way as she heads towards the ring with a confident smile.

(Raven quickly walked down the ramp and slid inside of the ring, getting up to her feet and letting the crowd cheer once more, she unfortunately had to shake hands with Alana as she then walked towards the corner of the ring and waited patiently before ‘O Fortuna’ by Carl Orff played on the speakers this time and the crowd turned into a very mixed reaction, Madison walking out with a surprising serious expression on her face, well, it was more serious and a bit of disgust seeing how the crowd received her as she walked down the ramp while posing for a bit as her song played.)

Eve: And here comes Madison Kaline as the second participant in this debacle, she has had a very up and down Season 17 in EAW having a lot of bad luck when it came to getting respect from the peers around her, even achieving the ire of our general manager, but thanks to Raven she got a friend from an unexpected place and ended 2023 in a high note, now she wants to prove herself against Raven in a surprisingly honorable move, will she be able to start off a new year and redeem herself or will she face failure once more?

(Madison walks up the steel stairs and enters the ring, looking very suspiciously at Alanna offering her a handshake considering she was friends with Kennedy, but she cautiously took it and then went to another corner of the ring as she and Raven gave each other a quick hello. Finally, ‘Living Dead Girl’ by Rob Zombie plays on the speakers and the crowd this time gives thunderous boos. The lights quickly change into a red hue that cover the whole arena as the guitar solo of the song hits and Caroline walks out as calm as ever, slowly reaching the top of the arena and standing there expressionless as she slowly stretched her arms to the side and posed for a moment as she looked around at all the people.)

Deadprez: This woman coming in with a killer aura, both figuratively and maybe literally, despite losing the New Breed Championship at the Pain for Pride 16, she has not stopped being the topic of the conversation around Showdown, targeting whatever person in the roster she can get her hands on and making a message out of them, but will she be able to pull that off against these two talented veterans? We will have to wait and find out.
(Caroline walked down the ramp in complete silence before she stopped in the middle of it and stood there for a few seconds, as suddenly, the lights completely turned off and the arena was left in darkness as then a spotlight shone down on the ring and Caroline was there inside, sitting in the middle rope and leaning against it like she was sitting in a chair, as Alana didn’t even try to give her a handshake after seeing that.)

Deadprez: HAH! 20 dollars richer!
(Caroline’s theme song stopped playing and all the three women looked over at each other without saying anything as Alana began talking once more.)
Alana Starr: I think all of you have figured it out by this point but yes, the official match at King of Elite will be Raven Roberts vs Madison Kaline VERSUS Caroline, and all of you here are gathered to discuss that, so go on then.
(The three of them were silent for a moment before Raven spoke first.)
Raven Roberts: Actually, I would like to hear what the young lady has to say first.
(She clearly referred to Caroline.)
Madison Kaline: Exactly, you brat! What the hell are you doing trying to insert yourself into a friendly match that doesn’t involve you-
Caroline: Isn’t it obvious?
(Madison stopped talking for a moment as Caroline slowly got a microphone out from her sleeve and she started talking on it.)
Caroline: It is the most obvious thing in the world, I want to once again make my image brighter at the expense of yours, I want to be able to uplift my name despite your feeble attempts at trying to get rid of me, I want the simple desire a wrestler has of being able to beat a hall of famer and a former world champion, I have said many times by this point that whatever happened at the end of my first championship reign would not happen again, and well, I think all of you are familiar as well with what I have already stated since the start of this season, that nobody would be safe at all from my wrath, Delilah Rose and Halsey Neel would not satisfy my thirst for chaos and pain so easily, in fact, dealing with that disgustingly bright Princess Candice just made that thirst even stronger, especially when she ended up getting away from me and she had to get a win over me. You really don’t know how much that makes my blood boil, having people remember that the Disney Princess has a win over me, but that doesn’t matter at all at the end of the day when I have so, sooo much to look forward to in the new year, and my 2024, if I am being completely honest, doesn’t involve either Madison or Raven suddenly having a career resurgence, it ends with the horror tale of the Queen of Shadows and the complete destruction of all of the people around her, do the two of you want a small taste of how that will be before our match-
(Suddenly, Caroline ends up getting caught off by Madison raising her voice up.)
Madison Kaline: Blah blah blah, I have heard enough from you already, emo girl! If you think I am going to let anybody else treat me like a stepping stone to their path to whatever delusional image of stardom they have then you are completely wrong! I have said so many times already how I won’t take the disrespect thrown my way lying down anymore! Because I know DAMN WELL that Kennedy is right now hearing and watching this, and let me tell you that even though you tried to get rid of me, the Mistress of Death DOES NOT DIE THAT EASILY! Because despite all of the disrespect, all of the little “digs” they threw at me at my age, at my experience and my accomplishments, I didn’t cower away and ran away from it. I took everything head on like the great wrestler that I am and with the help of my bird ally, I was able to take down those two rats who were willing to do Kennedy’s bidding so easily and I proved to everyone for the millionth time that you can’t underestimate someone as amazing as me, because starting this year I am going to prove to everyone how much of a mistake you have done writing me off since when I first returned, Queen’s Quest, Andrea Valentine, Sienna Jordan, all of those women that have tried to ruin my return? They mean nothing at the end because I am still here shining like I have never been before, and you? You brat trying to play Death God? You are just going to end up being humbled by whatever I bring to the table, and even though this was supposed to be a friendly competition, sorry Bird Brain, but you won’t take this win away from me either!
(Raven Roberts nodded slowly after hearing those words and then she began talking on the microphone as well.)
Raven Roberts: Hearing loud and clear from both sides right here, let me put my own piece of my mind on the table here, I haven’t been around long enough in this new era of EAW wrestlers, it has been two long years since I ended up leaving EAW for the first time, being away for all of that time and just taking it all in, taking in the fact that I could finally settle down and have a normal life, it got to me and I simply wanted to experience that with the love of my life, so I spent all of that time away and this place changed a lot in those years, I am almost like a fish out of water in this completely different environment, and you know what? I love that, I love that kind of challenge for me to take on, because even though I just came back briefly to try and help Maddie with Devolution, that wrestling bug ended up catching onto me once more and it gave me the idea of coming back as a full time wrestler to EAW, it made me realize how much I missed something like this and I am ready to remind everyone why I have been able to do what I did in the past, make everyone understand that I am as a big of a problem as anyone else in this current season, no, in fact, I am DETERMINED to be able to prosper in whatever way I can, even though if I have to get through my short-term partner to get to that point and even I have to go through whatever path of destruction Caroline is trying to prosper in EAW, it doesn’t matter what is thrown in my way, I keep flying high into the sky, I keep surpassing the people I go up against, I end up succeeding despite the setbacks because I am Raven Roberts! And that name is the one that will be uttered in victory as they raise my hand up!
(The three of them stared at each other in complete silence and the tension could be felt in the air as Alana spoke up.)
Alana Starr: Now now ladies, please remember I am here to conduct a GOOD reunion between the three of you and I would like all of you-
(The three of them then turn to Alana and all of them give her a death stare as Alana gulps a bit.)

Deadprez: CAROLINE SUDDENLY JUMPS OUT OF THE ROPES AND LUNGES ONTO RAVEN AND MADISON!
Eve: BUT RAVEN AND MADISON QUICKLY WORK TOGETHER TO TAKE ON CAROLINE AND THEY BEGAN WAILING STRIKES ONTO HER!
Gavin Kirkland: THESE TWO LADIES DON’T HOLD BACK ON THE BEAUTIFUL CAROLINE AFTER ALL OF THE ATTACKS SHE HAS DONE UPON THEM!
Eve: It was then that Madison quickly holds Caroline and Raven moves to try and go for a strike-
Deadprez: BUT CAROLINE DUCKS AND RAVEN ACCIDENTALLY STRIKES MADISON!
Eve: Madison quickly lets go of Caroline and Raven looks in shock as she tries to apologize… BUT MADISON TURNS AND SLAPS RAVEN ACROSS THE FACE AS WELL!
Gavin Kirkland: And it seems that Raven is reminded that this is indeed a triple threat match as she turns and she starts throwing strikes on Madison as well, with Madison fighting too! As this brawl just ends up breaking out into a sudden three way!
Deadprez: CAROLINE JOINS BACK AND SHE STARTS STRIKING MADISON AND RAVEN, RAVEN SUPERKICKS CAROLINE! MADISON HITS RAVEN WITH AN ELBOW STRIKE! CAROLINE PUSHES THROUGH THE PAIN AND SHE HITS MADISON IN THE FACE WITH A KNEE STRIKE!
Eve: And Caroline seeing the two women dazed, she jumps onto the both of them… AND BRINGS THEM DOWN WITH A DOUBLE JUMPING DDT!
Gavin Kirkland: Caroline now turns towards Raven and is focusing on her this time, walking behind her and waiting for her to get up, grabbing onto her head… AND TRYING TO GO FOR A SONG OF ICE AND FIRE-
Eve: RAVEN THIS TIME DUCKS!
Deadprez: AND MADISON COMES IN WITH A FOREARM STRIKE DIRECTLY TO CAROLINE’S THROAT!
Eve: RAVEN AND MADISON ARE ABLE TO WORK TOGETHER AGAIN AS CAROLINE BACKS UP TO THE ROPES FROM THE BLOW AND THE TWO OF THEM CLOTHESLINE HER OVER THE TOP ROPE AND DOWN TO THE OUTSIDE!
Deadprez: Raven quickly backs up and takes a small break after being able to pull that off with Madison-
Gavin Kirkland: MADISON DOESN’T GIVE HER ANY TIME TO BREATH AS SHE RUNS THE ROPES AND SHE HITS HER WITH THE AFTERLIFE, AS THE CLOTHESLINE FROM HELL TURNS RAVEN INSIDE OUT!
(Madison quickly rolls out of the ring and then she poses on the outside as she is left standing in the brawl, ‘O Fortuna’ by Carl Orff plays again as Caroline is on the other side of the ring holding onto her throat and looking incredibly angry while Raven is trying to get up after that clothesline while Madison gets up the ramp in a very cocky manner, as Showdown fades away from ringside.)

Candice looks around the crowd with a huge smile on her face and begins to wave as she begins to make her way to the ring. As “The Princess” continues to make her way, Gina’s introductions can be heard.)

(Madison enters the ring and strikes her pose… before the referee can signal for the bell, ‘Bewitched’ by Frank Sinatra begins to play over the speakers. Both competitors take a moment to look at the entrance way as Bea Valentine can be seen entering the arena. The Specialists Champion stops at the bottom of the ramp and simply waves the match on.)
Eve: I guess the Specialist Champion just wants a closer look at this one… I suppose we better get on with the match.
(The referee signals for the bell.)

Eve: And we’re off! Both women with a tie-up… jockeying for position. Candice seems to be gaining the upperhand, pushing Madison into the corner.
Gavin Kirkland: The referee is counting both women, but we know Candice is going to allow the clean break… BUT THAT’S NOT THE CASE FOR THE MISTRESS OF DEATH AS MADISON DELIVERS A SPEAR OUT OF THE CORNER! BRILLIANT!
Deadprez: Now just raining down punches onto Blair, trying to soften her up early!
Eve: Kaline isn’t done there, she’s pulling Blair back to her feet and just driving her into the corner with a shoulder barge… and just goes to town delivering shot after shot to the midsection of “The Activist.” Driving the wind out of her with every single shot.
Gavin Kirkland: Both women know how important cardio and wind is to professional wrestling so keeping your opponent short of oxygen is a quick way to wear your opponent down!
Deadprez: The referee finally separating the women but Madison just works her way around the official… ONLY TO BE MET WITH A SUPERKICK… ENZUIGIRI USING THE ROPES AS LEVERAGE… NOW LOCKING IN A SLEEPER…

(‘O Fortuna’ by Carl Orff begins to play over the speakers as Madison Kaline gets to her feet and starts to celebrate… as she does so, Candice Blair can be seen getting to her feet… Candice instantly stares daggers at Bea and both Bea and Candice begin to get into a brawl!)
Deadprez: I guess Candice isn’t done fighting for the night, Candice and Bea are going at it up the ramp!
Gavin Kirkland: CORNELIUS WHAT ARE YOU DOING!!!!!??? HELP BEA!!! BOTH WOMEN ARE BRAWLING TO THE BACK… CAN ANYONE STOP THESE WOMEN BEFORE THEY KILL EACH OTHER!?
Eve: I suppose if there’s any more to this story… we’ll try to get a cameraman back there… but I guess it’s time to move on to our next segment!
(The camera fades into our next segment backstage.)
(We go backstage, where Jade Phoenix is walking through the corridors looking more than a little pleased with herself, and rightfully so. Things had started to go right for her, and she now believed she was on her way to the top of the pile. She’d begun her journey and she wasn’t going to stop now. As she turns a corner, she almost bumps into Kyra Phillips coming the other way, and as both apologizes, Kyra immediately see’s this as a chance for an impromptu interview.)
Kyra Phillips: Jade, I’m glad I bumped into you, quite literally.
(The two of them laugh.)
Kyra Phillips: I wonder if you have a few moments for some questions. I’m sure the EAW fans would love to know what’s going on in your head right now.
Jade Phoenix: Sure, why not? I’ve got some time to spare. And why wouldn’t you want to talk to me, after all I am building my reputation around here.
(Jade seems very confident, and so she should, considering the way 2024 had started for her. Some would say she had attitude, and Kyra being Kyra wasn’t afraid to do exactly that.
Kyra Phillips: You sound like you have found some confidence… some might say you have a bit of a chip on your shoulder.
Jade Phoenix: Yeah, some might say that, and they would be right. I’m walking these corridors with a certain, arrogance, and there is nothing wrong with that. I’m not going to dumb down my achievements just because some people don’t like it. And you know what Kyra, I shouldn’t either.
Kyra Phillips: I can understand that, but some might not.
Jade Phoenix: And so, what? I’m pumped to have started 2024 with a huge win, because I needed it. I needed to show EAW that this was going to my year, and that wouldn’t have happened if I had lost. That victory gave me momentum, and now I have that momentum, I am quite literally ready to take on the world. I heard what people were saying about me, even though I’d been here far less time than most. I needed to get that reputation off my back, and I knew I would. Now, I can concentrate on building on that, and making my way to the top. And you know what Kyra, the way I feel right now, no one is going to stop me. May have took a little time for the train to get going, but now there isn’t any stopping it.
(As she speaks, Damien Kutcher steps into camera, Jade giving him a respectful nod which Damien returns.)
Damien Kutcher: If I could interject…
Jade Phoenix: Be my guest
(Damien then looks at Kyra who shrugs her shoulders. It was two interviews for the price of one as far as she was concerned.)
Damien Kutcher: She’s right Kyra, so very right. It is always nice to start of the year with a win. It kind of sets the scene for the rest of the season and even the year. Don’t you think Jade?
(Jade nods her head in agreement, after all it is literally what she had just said moments ago.)
Damien Kutcher: But you know what Jade, I don’t think it should stop there. What’s the point in being that good together, and making it a one-time deal?
Jade Phoenix: What are you suggesting?
(Damien shrugs, he knew his feelings on the matter and that was way he came over and interrupted.)
Damien Kutcher: There is chemistry there, no question about it.
Jade Phoenix: Agreed.
Damien Kutcher: And I think if we pooled our resources, and were serious about this tag team, we could go far. Perhaps all the way to the Unified Tag Team Championships
Jade Phoenix: Again, there is no disagreement with me.
Damien Kutcher: So, seeing as we got ourselves a camera, how’s about you and I go official, and give this a go. I mean, what do we have to lose right?
(Damien holds out his hand, and for a moment Jade looks at it, before nodding and then taking his hand.)
Jade Phoenix: You’re right, this is too much of an opportunity to pass up.
(The two shake as Kyra looks on, before then raising the mic.)
Kyra Phillips: So, I guess you two are going to need a tag team name?

Deadprez: KASAI showcasing some quick moves to ensure she keeps the upper hand. She’s got a tight grip on Hikari’s wrist, but Hikari is on the hunt for an escape. And there it is! Hikari manages to twist out of KASAI’s hold, swiftly seizing the opportunity and attempting to bring her down to the mat with a quick Snapmare!
Gavin Kirkland: KASAI seems to have a foresight into the match, and both women are still locked in a struggle against each other! KASAI maintains a strong grip on Hikari’s arms, preventing her from moving around easily and keeping her focus sharp in this ongoing battle. Now, KASAI reverses the Snapmare, taking control and attempting a Fireman’s Carry Slam on Hikari!

Eve: Just in time! KASAI manages to lifting her right foot towards the ring post, deftly evading the danger. A sharp back elbow lands, catching Hikari off guard and pushing her back. seizing the moment, KASAI promptly takes the reins, effortlessly tossing Hikari onto her right shoulder and making a beeline for the barricade… SENDING HER BACK CRASHING ON THE EDGE OF IT!
Gavin Kirkland: I don’t think KASAI is finished just yet; the Huntress has gone wild! Seizing her once more, she drives Hikari straight down to the edge of the ring’s apron this time! And once again, towards the barricade, slamming her right at the apron’s edge! KASAI pulls off a new move, placing her right onto her shoulders and peering down at the edge of the apron- Oh no….

Eve: KASAI appears to be a bit dissatisfied with how things unfolded for her. She starts to recalibrate and now puts Hikari in a steady position, initiating a stern piston-like move. She uses her right knee to press against Hikari’s back, which had just crashed down on the apron, adding more insult to injury!

( Miku doesn’t let up on the assault, with KASAI now sprawled on the ground. She glares down at KASAI and delivers one more vicious chair shot, ensuring KASAI is down and out. Afterward, Miku turns back to assist Hikari then helps Hikari roll under the bottom rope and guides her outside the ring, lending a hand to carry her to the back with crowd booing out loud. )
Gavin Kirkland: You see, I don’t mind who’s winning or losing this match because, guess what? This was one hell of a match, and seeing KASAI beat Hikari Kanno was also unbelievable! I didn’t even see that coming! So happy for her!
Eve: It’s definitely been a great match, but right now, we need some assistance for KASAI because I’m not sure if she can even stand on her feet at the moment.
( While Miku heads to the back with Hikari, the camera angle cuts back to KASAI. She holds onto her back, lying on the ground and looks up at Hikari and Miku, who have just left. She pounds the ground with anger in her eyes before easing the pain by rolling around. The scene fades backstage.)
(Backstage Mikaela Street is standing with a mic, a smile on her face.)
Mikaela Street: Hello everyone! It is me, Mikaela Street, and I have a whole new scoop for you. I was able to get an exclusive interview with none other than Pandora Paisley and Halsey Neel, from Devolution, otherwise known as The British Invasion!
(Pandora Paisley and Halsey Neel walk out, they do not look very happy, but Mikaela, a member of the Street family, the same that mentored and brought Pandora into the wrestling business, so she knows that at least they will be cordial.)
Mikaela Street: Ladies, you both asked for this time, and I am really excited to talk to both of you about King of Elite and what is next for The British Invasion after a tough loss at Road to Redemption.
Pandora Paisley: A tough loss at Road to Redemption? Everyone knows that we should have won that match and would have walked away with the victory if it wasn’t for bloody ARIA. Halsey knows it, I know it, everyone knows it and I am so sick and tired of listening to Madison Kaline running around here acting like she actually had anything to do with her victory. Raven Roberts is all proud and shit. Miks, they both know this is, we will have a chance at them again, but until then we have to think about us and our journey to those Unified Tag Team Championships.
(Mikaela nods and wastes no time asking the next question.)
Mikaela Street: Last week we saw an incredible match between you and Minerva to main event last week. But in the end, we saw Minerva come away with the victory and….
(Pandora quickly stops her.)
Pandora Paisley: Let me stop you right there. Minerva and I had a great match, I stood my ground and showed the world that I truly can hang with the best, so can Halsey, it was some chicanery that eventually cost me the match, but that is alright, because one day, I will get Minerva again, but if that wasn’t proof enough, if what happened at Road to Redemption wasn’t proof enough, then I don’t know what it. See Miks, we are sick and tired of waiting and we need to move forward and not live in what we cannot change, but going forward we can control.
(Halsey Neel finally cuts in as she is eager to speak.)
Halsey Neel: There is a reason we formed The British Invasion, why we decided to come here tonight and speak. Everyone is talking about the Tag Team division now, but NO ONE is talking about The British Invasion. Why? They want to pretend that we do not exist. Why? They don’t want to make us actually a reality and that scares the hell out of them. But what Pandora and I bring is hunger, we bring determination and most of all…. WE ARE SICK OF WAITING!
(Halsey screaming startles Mikaela.)
Halsey Neel: And we are not here to have long speeches, Mikaela, we are here to make a bloody point! We are two women that left England and came here to pursue a dream and all we have lived so far is a nightmare, but NO MORE! Road to Redemption was bogus, it was bogus and everyone including Roberts and Kaline know it. They were gifted this win, and now we are going to take our turn, but want to know what really pisses me off?
Mikaela Street: What is that?
Halsey Neel: That we are not booked at King of Elite, why? Everyone thought that Pandora would face ARIA, that didn’t happen because apparently ARIA has something else and is running scared. Where is IDOL-Gun? Where are the rest of the tag teams in the EAW that want to move up and get that Unified Tag Team Championship? Tell me! That’s the problem, you cannot say a damn thing about it! There is no one, so here is our promise, Mikaela, we…. WE as in The British Invasion are going to MAKE out moments.
Mikaela Street: What exactly does that mean?
(Pandora this time comes up and speaks….)
Pandora Paisley: Things are going to change, Mikaela. We are taking what we want when we want and we WILL be at King of Elite, we WILL make sura that everyone knows who The British Invasion are, we will make our name known and make sure that no one ever forgets its. Sometimes two women like us have to take it by the bollocks and do what we do best, take what we want and watch to see if any bloody wanker in this company will step up to take us down, I will say that it will NOT happen!
Halsey Neel: Do you hear that EAW? All of you have been put on notice and the challenge has been laid out!

(Pandora and Halsey glare at each other a nod before they walk off. Mikaela looks on and turns to the camera.)
Mikaela Street: You heard it here; The British Invasion challenged the EAW! Let’s go down to ringside with Gina Romano and the announcement of the next match!
(The camera before it switches to ringside and Gina Romano who is ready to call the next match, sees Harper Lee stop The British Invasion and starts talking to Pandora and Halsey, still looking for a tag team partner..)
(‘5 Milli” by Icewear Vezzo begins to play as Chef Viz makes his way out to the stage. He smiles at the roaring fans in Buenos Aires before taking a bow. Dr. D’Angelo D’Angelo isn’t too far behind him as they begin to walk towards the ring.)
Gina Romano: INTRODUCING FIRST….RESIDING IN ENGADINE, MICHIGAN…WEIGHING IN AT 270 POUNDS….HE IS “THE FOUNDER OF THE VISUAL PROPHET LEADERSHIP ACADEMY”…..CHEF VIZ!
Deadprez: That is a warm reception for Chef Viz right there. Just as it should be! This is a critical match for him tonight. If he wins, he gets to choose part of the stipulation for The Answers World Championship! The sort of edge that could give him is invaluable! But everything that he has accomplished in his career so far, you could say that tonight is no uphill battle! Not unless he makes the mistake of underestimating his opponent!
(Chef Viz reaches the ring and climbs on the apron. He bows again to the crowd and raises his arms, almost instructing the crowd to cheer again…and they do so. He gets in the ring and smiles at the stage, waiting for his opponent. ‘5 Milli’ by Icewear Vezzo is replaced ‘The Dark Horse Always Win’ by Blues Saraceno as white smoke pours out on the stage. Kirk Redwood emerges to a mix of boos and cheers as he comes with his right hand held up. He aims his knuckles at the camera and written on them is ‘Chef Viz’.)
Gina Romano: AND HIS OPPONENT….FROM BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS…WEIGHING IN AT 210 POUNDS….HE IS “THE UNKILLABLE”…..KIRK REDWOOD!
Eve: He bursted into the office last week, demanding an opportunity. It looks like Adam Lucas was the one who provided it! Redwood hasn’t been able to secure a spotlight like his former partner Solomon Stane, but he is determined to make the most of this opportunity! He happens to be a dangerous and unpredictable competitor inside that ring as well! Will he get the upset?
(Redwood rushes down to the ring and slides inside it. He gets right in the face of Chef Viz who still seems to be smiling at his opponent. The ref pushes them apart and Kirk flips off Viz, who chuckles in response. The music fades and the ref calls for the bell.)
(DING! DING! DING!)
Deadprez: Here we go and RIGHT AWAY REDWOOD WITH THE EUROPEAN UPPERCUT! He isn’t wasting any time here! You can see the look on the face of Chef Viz, he’s stunned but still on his feet! Viz replies with a clothesline but Redwood intercepts with a leaping knee! It catches Viz on the chin, sending him stumbling back into the corner! Kirk dashes after him and starts unloading with jabs and hooks! He is striking wherever there is an opening as Chef Viz tries his best to defend himself! Redwood can’t find any openings up top, so he starts kicking the legs and uppercutting the stomach! We have never seen this rapid, feral version of Kirk Redwood!
Gavin Kirkland: The referee finally has enough of this telling Redwood to back off! He steps back and gives Chef Viz some breathing room. Viz shakes off that assault from Redwood and refocuses! The two Elitists are circling each other now, waiting for the other to make a move! Kirk rushes in and looks for the double leg takedown! VIZ CATCHES HIM! He just hammers down on the lower back of his opponent, each strike more vicious than the last! He then gets him sky-high, possibly looking for a powerbomb! REDWOOD LANDS ON HIS FEET! He tries to take advantage with a right hook but Viz blocks it! BIG KNEE STRIKE FROM VIZ! The power difference between the two is evident as Redwood hits the mat!
Eve: Kirk started off strong, but this could be an early turning point! Redwood gets back to his feet and Chef Viz hugs onto him…BELLY-TO-BELLY SUPLEX! Viz slams his opponent into the mat with tremendous force! He takes a second to taunt Kirk, trying to play mind games with him! Kirk forces him back to his feet and is immediately LAUNCHED WITH ANOTHER BELLY-TO-BELLY! Viz is now just pointing and laughing at Kirk! I mean, is this wise? There are so many people that don’t take Redwood seriously, but he seemed more determined than ever heading into this match! It seems that Viz already plans on ending this!
(Chef Viz forces Redwood back to his feet into the center of the ring. He kisses on the forehead, symbolizing the incoming “Kiss to The Head”.)
Deadprez: WAIT A SECOND! Viz goes for the finishing maneuver but Redwood slips behind him! DRAGON SUPLEX! Kirk drives his opponent’s head and neck into the mat with shocking strength! He rolls through with it, keeping Viz locked in the full nelson position! A SECOND DRAGON SUPLEX! Kirk is doing some cooking of his own right now! He rolls through on the second one as well and we might seeing a trifecta coming! He switches into a sleeper hold! He’s trying to capitalize on that inflicted head trauma with the perfect submission hold! Wow, Chef Viz falls down to a single knee here…but HE RALLIES! He powers his way back up and plows Redwood into the corner! Kirk is refusing to let go, so Viz slams him back one more time!
Gavin Kirkland: Chef Viz has Redwood sandwiched here! He grabs him by the head and rolls him in the middle of the ring with a snapmare! He then waltzes over to the ropes before rushing back towards Redwood AND ROCKING HIM WITH A SEATED CLOTHESLINE! He puts all of his weight on it, nearly decapitating his opponent! Chef Viz drags Redwood back to his feet and irish whips into the ropes…SHOULDER BLOCK! It’s like a monster truck hitting a used Ford Fiesta! He looks for a cover!

Eve: Redwood kicks out just before the two! He’s going to need that resiliency tonight! If he doesn’t find a way to turn it back around though, it may just be a matter of time! Viz grabs him under the arms, hooking them in position for the suplex! REDWOOD SLIPS OUT! He throws multiple strikes into the ribs out of his opponent! SAITO SUPLEX! Once again, Redwood showing off his strength with a masterful move! Viz grabs the ropes and pulls himself back to his feet…REDWOOD IS ON HIM! He delivers more strikes, trying to do whatever it takes to wear down the powerhouse that is Chef Viz! The ref pushes him away once again and Redwood relents. Chef tries to gather his thoughts BUT REDWOOD WITH THE STIFF SLAPS RIGHT ACROSS HIS FACE! You can see anger swelling in the eyes of Chef Viz with every strike! HE SWINGS WILDLY WITH THE IKE TURNER SPECIAL!
Deadprez: Redwood with the counter! He catches the arm and turns it into the cross arm-breaker! He manages to roll Viz towards the center of the ring, just out of reach of the ropes! The pained look on the face of Big Viz lasts for a few moments before switching to annoyance! He rolls onto his stomach, grabbing his other hand and locking them together! HE LIFTS UP REDWOOD! POWERBOMB! Kirk may be tough, but Viz is a titan both in the literal and metaphorical sense! Chef gets back to his feet, while Redwood shockingly manages to get back to his! Viz picks him up onto his shoulders and there are several lethal maunevers that could be executed from here! KIRK SLIPS BEHIND! HE LOOKS FOR A GERMAN SUPLEX!
Gavin Kirkland: Viz refuses to be moved this time, shifting his weight! He reaches back and places Redwood in a headlock! He stares out into the crowd and lifts his left hand into the air! He’s clearly planning some sort of barbaric move! Chef Viz…NOOGIES REDWOOD! The smile is back on the face of Chef Viz as he looks to humiliate Redwood in front of this Buenos Aires crowd! He drives his knuckles into the scalp of his opponent before placing one hand on his head and shoving to the ground! He’s now goading Redwood, telling him to get back to his feet! Redwood does it but is promptly put back down with another shoulder block! He makes the same demand of Kirk and you see Redwood grit his teeth, trying to keep a cool head!
Eve: He gets back to his feet and Viz picks him for a spinebuster! REDWOOD WITH THE HEADBUTT! Viz is knocked back! Before he knows what to do, Redwood looks for the double leg takedown! It works and Viz is know on the mat! Kirk begins unleashing yet another torrent of strikes! Viz tries his best to guard against the blows but Kirk just keeps going! Viz is finally able to push him away and escape to the outside! He looks worse for wear after that series! He turns back around to re-enter the fray…BUT KIRK HITS THE STAR-SNIPER! THE SUICIDE EUROPEAN UPPERCUT! Viz is knocked right off his right and he just might have been knocked out! Redwood throws him back inside the ring and looks for the cover!

Deadprez: Viz kicks out! I’m almost shocked after that hit! Redwood gets right back to the offense, elbowing Viz in the head! We have seen aggression from this man that we haven’t seen in a long-time, hell I don’t remember if we’ve ever seen it! He presses pause on the elbows and lines up for something different! BLITZKRIEG BOP! He looks for the knee to back of the head but Viz rolls out of the way! He pushes himself back to his feet and hits a massive clothesline on Redwood, making him do a backflip from the impact! Viz grabs him again…SPINEBUSTER! He finds it this time and now he is back in control, but he is not playing games anymore! He grabs a handful of hair from the Dog of the War before hoisting him up over his head! MILITARY PRESS! The entire front of Redwood’s body crashes onto the ground from on high! The Chef is finally cooking here as he places his opponent in the corner!
Gavin Kirkland: He starts imitating Kirk’s strikes from earlier! He’s delivering jabs and hooks! It has to feel like a slab of stone is hitting him! Redwood might have the speed advantage, but when Viz connects with his strikes it has double the power behind it! Redwood tries to duck out of the corner but Viz pins him in place with the corner clothesline! Kirk falls down into a seated position, the fight may have been beaten out of him! DROPKICK INTO THE SEATED REDWOOD! Chef Viz is now just brutalizing Redwood! So much for the underdog story folks! There is no sling that can strike down Chef Viz!
Eve: He pushes his opponent to the outside! He should be covering after everything he just threw Kirk’s way! Instead he follows suit to the outside! He lifts Redwood up onto his shoulders and smiles out to the crowd! PROPHET DRIVER! THE DREAM VALLEY DRIVER ON THE FLOOR! It is impossible for this one not to be over! That sort of impact can end careers, not just matches! Viz picks up his opponent like he’s going to throw him back to the inside, but instead throws him over the barricade and into the audience! He then simply goes back inside and makes a gesture for the ref to wrap it up! He begins the count!

Deadprez: CHEF VIZ STOPS HIM WITH THE BASEBALL SLIDE! Kirk is back down and Viz goes back to the outside, resetting the count! It seems that he has other intentions in mind as he rolls Kirk back inside the ring! He lifts him up over his shoulders and begins to spin! HE’S LOOKING AIR BAE! Look at him go! BUT WAIT! KIRK REDWOOD ESCAPES AND USES HIS MOMENTUM FOR THE BRAINDEAD BUSTER! COVER!

Gavin Kirkland: Chef Viz pushes Redwood off of him! He still isn’t done! KIRK WITH THE STANDING KNEE DROP! This is what we’ve seen from Redwood all night. There is no hesitation in him at all, as he knows just how big this opportunity is! Kirk now grabs the legs of his opponent, looking to apply the Figure-Four Sharpshooter that he calls THE COLLINS LOCK! As he flips him over, Viz crawls towards the ropes and manages to grab the bottom one! The ref tells Redwood to back off! Viz gets back to his feet but REDWOOD GETS THE GUILLOTINE CHOKE! He begins to squeeze the life out of Chef Viz, desperately doing whatever it takes to win! BUT VIZ REFUSES TO FALL DOWN, INSTEAD CARRYING REDWOOD! HE DRIVES INTO THE CORNER ONCE AGAIN!
Eve: Redwood has to release and Viz takes a moment to catch his breath! He approaches Kirk in the corner BUT GETS A CHOP TO THE CHEST! Kirk switches places with him and starts firing off like the automatic weapon he is! The crowd is trying to count along with him, but they can’t seem to catch up! Viz blocks…AND CHOPS BACK! He throws him back into the corner and starts firing off his own chops! One after another, slower and more deliberate! HE THEN GRABS REDWOOD AND LAUNCHES HIM WITH THE BELLY-TO-BELLY! Wait a second! Big Viz is making his way to the top rope here, looking for some high-flying offense! FLYING CLOTHESLINE TO REDWOOD! When a nearly 300-pound competitor like Viz hits something like that, you can feel the impact!
Deadprez: Chef Viz back in control here, but whatever fun he was having earlier is over! He wants to punish Redwood now! He gets on top of him and begins hammering down! He stands up, bringing Redwood with him…he looks for the powerbomb! NO! Redwood tries to snag the leg of his opponent, trying to lock in the ankle lock! Viz reaches out for the ropes but can’t get to them! So he opts to roll forward…KIRK ROLLS WITH HIM! Kirk is tossed away but he scrambles back to his feet! He turns around…V! D! T! Almost out of nowhere, Chef Viz spikes the head of Redwood into the mat! He might have ended this one! COVER!

Gavin Kirkland: There is a look of disbelief in the eyes of Viz! He cannot believe that Redwood is still in this match! He sits there for a moment, thinking of what he’s going to do next! He nods his head like he just thought of the perfect way to finish this! He grabs Kirk by the hair once again, bringing him back up! He stares into the eyes of Kirk and nods at him! Respect? Just finish him already! He kisses Redwood on the forehead and draws his arm back…WAIT! REDWOOD SHOVES HIS MIDDLE FINGER RIGHT IN VIZ’S FACE! Viz smiles and grabs the arm…HE’S LOOKING FOR THE CHEF’S KISS INSTEAD! He manages to get one arm trapped but Redwood elbows him in the side! He then turns around and chops him! Viz is staggered…AND REDWOOD HITS THE RUNNING EUROPEAN UPPERCUT! Viz is knocked against the ropes and Redwood gets him with a knee!
Eve: Redwood runs to the other side of the ring, looking to garner some momentum! VIZ CATCHES HIM AND LOOKS FOR THE BELLY-TO-BELLY…BUT REDWOOD COUNTERS WITH AN ARM DRAG! He waits for him to get up to his feet…EXPLODER SUPLEX! And now Kirk kips up! He lets out a roar and the crowd is cheering him on! It looks like they actually have gotten behind Redwood! He heads to the corner of the ring and waits for his opponent! HE’S SETTING UP FOR THE PAROLE VIOLATION! SOMERSAULT INTO THE SP-
Deadprez: HE’S INTERCEPTED WITH A KNEE! Redwood is left dazed and confused as Viz seeks to take advantage! He lifts him up and brings him down with a MASSIVE SIT-OUT POWERBOMB! He doesn’t look for the cover, instead rolling back to his feet! He picks him up over his head…IKE TURNER SPECIAL! Redwood ducks under it…RIGHT HOOK TO THE FACE! VIZ REPLIES WITH THE IKE TURNER SPECIAL! IT CONNECTS! The taste and maybe a tooth or two is knocked out of his mouth! Viz doesn’t let him fall to the ground, he catches his arm and pulls him back in! BELLY-TO-BELLY OVER THE TOP ROPE! A brutal landing on the outside and it seems like Redwood might be done for! Viz goes back to the outside and leans Redwood against the barricade!
Gavin Kirkland: DROPKICK AGAINST THE BARRICADE! Now he scrapes him off the floor and gets him in position for the VDT! He plans on driving his head into the barricade…KIRK ESCAPES! He shoves himself away and stumbles back towards the ring! Chef Viz tries to grab onto him but Redwood turns around WITH A BIG UPPERCUT! He rushes back inside the ring and Viz pursues! As he enters the ring, Kirk ambushes him with a stiff shot to the face! He then gets him with palm strikes to the chest, again with the rapid, wear-down tactics! HE THEN HITS A HEADBUTT ON VIZ! There’s a smirk on the face of Redwood as he grabs the arm of his opponent…BASTARD PLEX! A beautiful wrist clutch suplex from Redwood as he goes for the cover!

Eve: No! It still is not over! And you can see that Redwood seems devastated by this! He though it was over! That sorrow quickly turns to rage…and Redwood lifts his opponent from behind…HALF-AND-HALF SUPLEX! But he’s not there! He unloads a few elbows into the face of Viz before picking him once again…TIGER SUPLEX! Is there no end to how many suplexes Redwood knows? The Dog of War continues with the strikes and it seems like Viz is nearly finished! And that’s exactly what Redwood is thinking as well! He drags Big Viz back to a vertical base and hits him with another stiff slap just to make sure he’s still out of it! HE KISSES THE FOREHEAD OF VIZ! A SYMBOLIC GESTURE AS HE RUSHES TO THE ROPES AND LOOKS FOR THE .50 CAL!
Deadprez: VIZ GETS HIM IN MID-AIR WITH THE DROPKICK! Both men are down here! This has been a fight from the beginning! We expect this level of performance out of Viz, being the multi-time world champ that he is! I don’t think anyone expected Kirk to perform at this level! But he is! And right now, both men are getting back to their feet! They are bruised, battered, but neither of them are going to let the other walk out of here with the win! They rush at each other! They’re going blow for blow, neither wanting to fall! Redwood leaps up and attempts to lock in another guillotine choke but Viz shoves him back before he can lock it in! He rushes back in with an uppercut…BUT VIZ COUNTERS INTO THE CHEF’S KISS! This has to be it as he begins to press the life out of Redwood!

Gavin Kirkland: WAIT! REDWOOD GETS HIS FOOT ON THE ROPES! The ref forces Viz to back off! He releases the hold and waits for Redwood to get back up…HE TRIES TO APPLY IT AGAIN! REDWOOD AVOIDS IT! He once again unleashes on Viz! He hits everywhere there is to hit on the big man! Chest, stomach, legs and face! Redwood refuses to give up, he refuses to lose here! He waits until Viz is unable to move and he goes to the corner! HE LOOKS FOR THE PAROLE VIOLATION ONCE AGAIN! VIZ GETS WITH THE KISS TO THE HEAD! KISS TO THE HEAD OUT OF NOWHERE! He crawls over to the unconscious Redwood and drapes a single arm over him!

(‘5 Millli’ by Icewear Vezzo begins to play. The crowd cheers as Viz slowly rises back to his feet, a smile back on his face.)
Gina Romano: HERE IS YOUR WINNER…THE FOUNDER OF THE VISUAL PROPHET LEADERSHIP ACADEMY…CHEF VIZZZZ!
Eve: Chef Viz with the win! It was a hard fought match, harder than Viz probably thought it would be, but in the end he got the job done! I’m sure he’s already got some crazy stipulations in the mind for Adam Lucas! Again, credit to Redwood for that performance! He fought harder than I think we’ve ever seen him before…but in the end Chef Viz is Chef Viz!
Deadprez: Redwood was rapid. He was determined. He was unkillable! More so than we have ever seen for sure! If that’s what he brings to the table every week from here on out, then it could be him heading into a world championship match soon enough! But tonight? Tonight the spoils go to Chef Viz!
(Chef Viz is celebrating his win with Dr. D’Angelo D’Angelo, they already seem to be discussing ideas. Kirk is seen disappointed and leaning against the barricade, fans clapping his back.)
(Showdown comes back on air, as we see a vignette air, as none other than ARIA herself, was in the frame. As music plays in the background, ARIA monologues over the video.)
ARIA: The road to getting where I am now, was not without a lot of curbs along the way. It has been a bumpy ride since I first came to EAW. I reflect on all of it, some memories cherished, while others.. are better off forgotten.
(A clip of ARIA and Usagi would be shown, as her demeanor best showcased the unfortunate outcome of it all. The trial and error that Aria has faced the last few months, was definitely on display through her emotions.)
ARIA: But yes, truthfully. I want to say that my time on Showdown these last couple months has been a roller coaster of emotions, never knowing what direction the ship is heading. But I have been in EAW for a very long time now. And in that time, things have changed. People I met disappeared. People I loved, wrote themselves out of my life. While that pains me in ways I can’t really come forward about – I recognize that evolution is only brought together by these situations. I have had to fail the first couple of times, in order to be perfect the next time. I’m not a baby bird leaving the nest anymore. I have had time on my own, now it’s all about survival. And for sure.. being by myself, is definitely.. a weird experience. But I’m not going to act like I haven’t been doing all of this by myself in the first place, anyways! And there is so much more I want to accomplish on my own, and that starts with unfinished business.
(With the mention of unfinished business, made prominent. The last few months of the Devolution and ARIA saga, played in the background. As ARIA kept her motivated and locked in focus on what was set ahead.)
ARIA: As I state unfinished business, I believe that it shouldn’t be anymore obvious, other than what has transpired the last few months. It has been the same revolving door, but it’s all been written in the same font, when it comes to Devolution. But more so specifically, Pandora Paisley. This whole thing between Pandora and myself has been the reason my career isn’t moving forward. I feel as if erasing her from the equation can be the beneficiary factor that I need. This whole thing has turned upside down on itself, and it’s getting to the point where, I can’t follow a long with it anymore.
(ARIA said, as she started off into the distance, her words showing that she really is being eaten up by what has been happening. She took a deep sigh, before proceeding to speak again.)
ARIA: It keeps turning upside down on me, because I see something that I need to do first. Pandora, I don’t know the grounds that you would wish for this, but I challenge you. Anytime, anywhere. But.. first.. I have to take care of some other business, that only I know what is.
(ARIA alludes to something, and it’s kind of eery, how she’s going about it. Giving almost zero to none context wise, ARIA’s gaze would seem as if it were off, focused on something else. Before she stopped all that at once, and spoke again.)
ARIA: My recent struggles as of lately, especially with Usagi, aren’t going to be what written home about me anymore. Failing to become champion against Jon Kelton, was a wound forged. But I still found myself prided on moral victory, as It took so much out of him, in order to take me down. But after everything that happened with the Ice Aces, it was just salt being poured into that open wound. Again and again. Stinging me to the point I couldn’t take it anymore. My biggest enemy from time to time, and honestly it’s just myself, and many attributes about myself, that tend to hold me back. My ability to overthink is definitely an overlining factor to my failures. I thought I had pumped up everyone on Team Showdown for Territorial Invasion! But, I spent so much time on the focus of others, I realized.. how much am I, ARIA.. Truly doing for myself? That’s a question that keeps ticking through my head, time and time again. Because I’m not doing enough, and it’s a product of me being my own enemy. But I don’t want to sit here and use myself entirely as a crutch, because so many things.. can be boiled down to well uh, circumstances. But I’m not going to sit here and avoid accountability. But maybe that’s an ARIA problem? Maybe since the implosion of the Ice Aces, I realized I don’t take enough accountability.. Now, maybe I’m taking too much.. It’s just uhh.. it’s a lot to take in.
(ARIA took a deep breath, as she calmed herself down, and situated things back to a pace she could focus on. Not wanting to overwhelm herself.)
ARIA: But as I was saying, the focus on Pandora Paisley is there. I just have something else that I have to do beforehand. I leave the details as minute as possible. Because this is pivotal for me in taking that next step. Again, as I said. I realize that I have taken too many steps backwards, now it is time for me to stop slipping on my own two feet, and begin treading forward. I am the only one who knows what I have to do now, and I’m going to remain the only one, until the statement is made.
(With the ominous message being left from Aria, the words would stick in the ground, as the vignette soon came to a close. What Aria alluded to, was still unknown and not present. But Aria is making it the primary attack of her focus. Harper Lee is seen watching in the background. With that being said, Showdown would soon shift to ringside.)
(The camera returns to ringside setting at the commentary table and focusing on Deadprez before they continue to the next match on Showdown..)
Deadprez: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome back to Showdown. Before we send it to the ring for our next contest, allow me to welcome a very special guest to the broadcast booth. She is the challenger for the National Elite Championship at King of Elite. Please welcome Ashlynn Quinn.

Deadprez: Here comes Delilah Rose for singles action and what is interesting is the fact that Delilah is flying solo tonight. No Devolution accompanying her.
Ashlynn Quinn: It’s about time things start out fair in a match involving Devolution. Now let’s see if Delilah can fight without help.
Gavin Kirkland: I wish they would have come with her. I am all for as many beautiful ladies being at ringside as possible.
Eve: I’m still surprised that you don’t have a restraining order yet, but after being run from the ring last week, Delilah is looking to pick up a huge victory and raise her stock. But her opponent is no pushover.
(Delilah enters the ring and takes her corner as her entrance music fades off. Seconds later, “7 Rings” by Ariana Grande starts playing and the National Elite Champion Veena Adams enters the arena with her title on her shoulder as she heads to the ring. )
Gina Romano: Introducing her opponent! She is from Greenwich, Connecticut! Weighing 137 pounds! Here is the EAW NATIONAL ELITE CHAMPION! “THE GOLDEN STAR” VEENA ADAMS!
Eve: What started out as a prank will lead to one of the biggest matches of your career as you take on Veena for the National Elite Championship at King of Elite.
Ashlynn Quinn: You know I meant nothing bad by it, but…. HI BESTIE!! I LOVE YOU, MY FRIEND! GOOD LUCK IN THIS MATCH!!
Gavin Kirkland: Ohhh my girl, Veena. I am so glad she is here and she is ready to fight.
Deadprez: Veena has a tough test at King of Elite, but she needs to make it through Delilah Rose first. If Veena isn’t fully in the game, it could cost her tonight. Who will win? We’re about to find out.
(Veena enters the ring and holds her title in the air proudly as she takes her corner and her entrance music fades off. She hands her title belt to the referee before they check both competitors and call for the bell.)

Deadprez: Here we go! Non title action on tap as Delilah and Veena lock up in the center of the ring and it’s the seemingly stronger Veena Adams takes advantage of Delilah in the early goings of this match.
Ashlynn Quinn: I have no doubts that Veena will win this match. She has the advantage right now and she’s going to keep the advantage for the entire match.
Eve: Veena does have the experience edge in this match, but don’t count out Delilah. She is a very talented competitor who could pull off the upset in this match if things go her way.
Gavin Kirkland: I hope she pulls off more than just the upset. Oh baby.
Eve: You’re disgusting, pervert. Anyways, Delilah gets free and counters with a hammerlock from behind, BUT VEENA GETS FREE WITH AN ELBOW STRIKE TO THE TEMPLE.
Deadprez: Veena grabs hold of Rose and tries to whip her to the ropes BUT ROSE REVERSES AND SENDS VEENA FOR THE RIDE! Veena comes back–
Gavin Kirkland: VEENA WITH THE THESZ PRESS TAKING DELILAH DOWN AND SHE IS JUST THROWING A SERIES OF VIOLENT AND STIFF PUNCHES TO THE SIDE OF DELILAH’S HEAD!
Ashlynn Quinn: Trust in my bestie. She can turn any negative situation into a positive. That’s why she has been so successful.
Eve: The referee had a count going and Veena stops the punches. Veena is up and brings Rose to her feet and DELIVERS A STRAIGHT KICK TO THE RIBS TO DOUBLE DELILAH OVER!
Deadprez: Veena is in firm control of this match as she grabs Delilah and whips her into the corner and Rose hits the turnbuckles. Veena comes into the corner AND DELILAH WITH AN ELBOW SMASH THAT STAGGERS VEENA BACK!
Gavin Kirkland: Rose with a facelock applied AND SHE SNAPS VEENA UP AND OVER WITH THE SUPLEX AND VEENA CRASHED INTO THE TURNBUCKLES! WHAT AN UGLY LANDING!
Ashlynn Quinn: Come on, Veena. You can do this. Show this ho why you hold that Championship title.
Deadprez: Delilah now gets a chance to show what she can do as she lifts Veena back to her feet and shoves her into the turnbuckles BEFORE DELIVERING A KNIFE EDGE ACROSS THE CHEST!
Eve: HOLY CRAP THAT WAS LOUD! We need to ask the people in the nosebleed seats if they heard that chop. We’ll get another chance AS ROSE JUST CHOPS VEENA ACROSS THE CHEST AGAIN!
Gavin Kirkland: Come on, Delilah. Stop chopping her there. Her chest is starting to turn red. I need to help her out.
Eve: You’re sickening. But Delilah does pull Veena out of the corner AND RIGHT INTO A DISCUS LARIAT FROM DELILAH! VEENA WAS JUST CLOBBERED!
Ashlynn Quinn: It might not be looking good right now, but I have faith in the bestest bestie in the whole world. She can turn this around. I know she will.
Deadprez: Ashlynn singing the praises of her bestie and future opponent. Delilah grabs hold of the blond locks of Veena to bring her back to her feet, BUT DELILAH HOISTS HER UP AND DROPS HER WITH A SAITO SUPLEX!
Gavin Kirkland: My girl Veena just got dropped right on the back of her head. Veena is down and Delilah drops down and hooks the leg for the cover.

Eve: VEENA KICKS OUT AT ONE! Veena showing the strength that led her to victory many times in the past and it is going to take more than that to finish off the Champ.
Ashlynn Quinn: I couldn’t have said it better myself, Eve. She is the best champion in EAW today. She will get back into this match.
Deadprez: Delilah is up and she brings Veena back to her feet and onto her shoulders. Delilah brings Veena to the middle in the ring for what looks to be a Michinoku Driver–
Gavin Kirkland: VEENA WITH ELBOWS TO THE SIDE OF THE HEAD WHICH CAUSES DELILAH TO LET HER GO! Veena lands behind Delilah and Delilah turns around–
Deadprez: RIGHT INTO A PALM STRIKE TO THE THROAT! GOOD GAWD WHAT A SHOT! Delilah is holding her throat in pain as Veena grabs a handful of Delilah’s hair AND BRINGS HER DOWN INTO A BACKBREAKER ACROSS HER KNEE!
Eve: Turnabout is fair play. Delilah took some shortcuts earlier, but don’t try that too many times against a person who made underhanded tactics an artform in Veena Adams.
Ashlynn Quinn: She only does that when provoked and she was provoked. Simple as that.
Gavin Kirkland: Rose is down at the moment AND VEENA IS JUST BEATING THE HELL OUT OF HER WITH THOSE MMA STYLE AND ELBOW STRIKES! SHE IS TAKING NO PRISONERS!
Eve: No closed fists, so all of those shots are legal. Delilah is blocking the shots as best as she can and finally gets enough strength to shove Veena off of her and Delilah rolls away for a breather.
Deadprez: Short lived breather as Veena is right on her heels. Delilah has her back against the ropes with nowhere to go. Veena grabs hold of Delilah, BUT DELILAH GRABS HOLD OF VEENA’S TOP AND THAT SENDS VEENA THROUGH THE ROPES!
Gavin Kirkland: WOOHOO! That was the best thing ever. We almost had to change our rating there. We were so close.
Ashlynn Quinn: If Veena could hear the way you talk, she’d punch her lights out.
Eve: He’s been lucky so far, but Veena was also lucky by being able to land on the apron. Delilah is back to her feet and she grabs Veena and runs her over to the ring post–
Deadprez: ROSE TRIED TO SMASH HER FACE INTO THE RINGPOST, BUT VEENA BLOCKED IT! Veena with a right hand that loosens Delilah’s grip.
Gavin Kirkland: Veena now has hold of Delilah AND SMASHES HER HEAD INTO THE TOP TURNBUCKLE! Delilah staggers back after hitting the turnbuckle.
Deadprez: Veena has now made her way to the top rope. Veena gets her balance AND JUMPS OFF THE TOP ROPE AND TAKES DELILAH DOWN WITH THE FLYING CROSSBODY BEFORE HOOKING THE LEG FOR THE COVER!

Eve: DELILAH KICKS OUT AT TWO! Nice near fall for the National Elite Champion and she is right back on the attack with the forearms to the back of the head.
Ashlynn Quinn: I give Delilah credit for lasting this long on her own, but Veena knows to not celebrate a near fall. Get a two count? Get back to business.
Gavin Kirkland: Veena grabs Delilah and brings her back to her feet before whipping her to the corner. Rose hits the turnbuckle and VEENA FLIES IN WITH THE EUROPEAN UPPERCUT–
Eve: DELILAH MOVES OUT OF THE WAY AT THE LAST SECOND! VEENA CRASHES INTO THE CORNER! Delilah is now putting the boots to Veena before Delilah lifts up Veena and sits her on the top turnbuckle.
Deadprez: Delilah climbs up onto the second rope to try to lock Veena up for a superplex. BUT VEENA IS BLOCKING IT AND TRYING TO FIGHT BACK AND GET FREE!
Ashlynn Quinn: COME ON VEENA! FIGHT OUT OF THIS! YOU CAN DO IT!
Gavin Kirkland: Both ladies are throwing haymakers in the corner while the referee is trying to get them to come down AND DELILAH MANAGES TO THROW A KNEE INTO VEENA’S JAW AND THAT STOPS HER IN HER TRACKS!
Eve: Delilah has now made it to the top rope and she has a facelock once again on Veena AND BOTH WOMEN COME OFF THE TOP ROPE WITH THE SUPERPLEX! BUT LOOK AT THIS–
Deadprez: DELILAH BRINGS VEENA BACK TO HER FEET AND LIFTS HER UP BEFORE DROPPING HER WITH THE FALCON ARROW! VEENA LANDS HARD AS DELILAH GRABS THE LEG AND HOOKS FOR THE COVER!

Ashlynn Quinn: I am thinking that Veena just likes to give me a heart attack or something. Holy crap that was a very close cover.
Deadprez: This has been a very competitive match between these two with Delilah being able to bring a pretty decent fight against the two time National Elite Champion. Like right now, she almost got the victory right there.

Deadprez: What a great non title match we just saw. Both women fought hard and had to delve a little bit into their bag of tricks, but it was the experience advantage of Veena Adams that gave her the victory.
(Veena is back to her feet as the referee hands her the belt and raises her arm in victory before going to check on Delilah. Veena takes a second to celebrate her victory as Ashlynn watches from ringside.)
Gavin Kirkland: Oh I really hate seeing beautiful women fight like this. I should go up and console them.
Eve: You will stay right here. But I will give credit to Delilah for the job in this match. Normally, she’s flanked by her Devolution buddies, but she fought hard going it alone.
Gavin Kirkland: Not only is she beautiful, but she is strong. She was close to picking up the upset win, but it just wasn’t meant to be.
(As Veena exits the ring, she is stopped by Ashlynn who is trying to explain her case, but Veena is not wanting to hear any of it as she walks past Ashlynn, who looks almost distraught that Veena doesn’t want to speak to her again.)
Eve: Well, Veena just walks past her bestie not wanting to hear her explain and I don’t blame her. Ashlynn almost cost her the match. Maybe Veena was right about how their friendship could be an issue.
Deadprez: I can only imagine how things are going to go after tonight’s little incident as we head towards King of Elite. As for tonight, Delilah put up a good fight, but the match belongs to the National Elite Champion
(The final shot has Veena staring down from the top of the entrance ramp at Ashlynn with a very annoyed look on her face as Ashlynn is still at ringside completely distraught as she is yelling up to Veena that she is sorry about what happened as the camera cuts to a commercial break.)
(As the camera fades to ringside after the commercial break, “Birds With Broken Wings” by Ben Caplan. The crowd stands up as they start to boo. Solomon Stane slowly walks out, and he doesn’t look happy. Not saying a thing, he heads over into the ring.)
Deadprez: Here is a man that is not only dangerous, but has been put over the edge by another Elitist that we have seen her instability since even before Pain for Pride in Dr. Bethany Blue, but what started as just her visiting Adam Lucas and giving him a surprise has turned into something even more deadly.
Eve: Deadly is an underestimate as with Trixie’s absence, we see that Dr. Bethany Blue did put her in the hospital and that was something that Solomon did not expect especially after he went over to Voltage, attacked Bethany, and wanted her not to show back up on the Blue Brand but, but of course she didn’t listen and brutally attacked his wife and now we are here.
Gavin Kirkland: He is big, sadistic, and dangerous. But Dr. Bethany Blue showed that size doesn’t matter, she struck when he least expected it and now he finds himself wondering how to deal with someone just as sadistic as Dr. Bethany Blue.
(Solomon gets in the ring, he has a mic in hand as the music dies down.)
Solomon Stane: Job. He was put on trial by God to test his loyalty. To see if he was willing to sacrifice everything in faith. These are my trials. Last week I should have been in the semi-finals in the King of Elite and instead I was forced to watch my wife get beaten almost to death by Dr. Bethany Blue. I warned her a week or so ago to not ever enter foot into Showdown again, but she did not heed our warning. Instead, she decided to enter my domain and walk through the valley of the shadow of death, but putting down my lovely wife.
(The crowd boos, some though cheer.)
Solomon Stane: And some may say that was retaliation for what I did to the Doctor’s husband at Road to Redemption, crucifying him on the cross. Of course, she was on her trail of a little vengeance, or maybe it was just coincidence but either way, the Good Doctor decided to come to Showdown and impose her will on my wife. That is why it is sacrifice. The trials have begun on Solomon Stane, and Dr. Bethany Blue is the last of the sacrifices that will be made at King of Elite. I have already shown my might on more than one occasion, and I will continue to do so as I spread the word of the gospel in the EAW, but there are heretics who must pay for what they have committed. My wife will never be the same again, but she understands the mission, what she had to go through was a necessary evil for her to reach that promised land much like myself, but she will recover in time and when she does. Standing right by my side is where she will be.
(There are more boos as Solomon though stares right into the camera and this time his eyes narrow….)
Solomon Stane: Dr. Bethany Blue, what you did was only the start of the end for you. The reputation that you have, a former World Champion, everything that you have done and accomplished means nothing at the end when I grab your beaten and crushed body and nail it up so that the entire EAW can see. You took out my wife and I could easily take out your husband, but that would be too easy. I rather see him mourn your demise; it would be that much more fulfilling. At King of Elite….. the Trials of Job are upon us and the message is revenge!
(An intense look is on the face of Solomon Stane when suddenly the Tron comes on and Dr. Bethany Blue is on there and she is in her Doctor’s gear. She slowly takes off her reading glasses as the fans boo, some cheer. Solomon slowly turns to face Bethany. )
Dr. Bethany Blue: That was quite the speech, but what you don’t realize Solomon is that I am a Master of Medicine, always believing science over religion, even though I am of Jewish faith and do not exactly go with your Christianity beliefs, as we never believed in the messiah, but that isn’t really the point here, though is it, Solomon? Because the truth behind all of your biblical nonsense is that I came to Showdown to give Adam a gift and surprise him, but your wife decided to get smart with him and then you get involved. I didn’t start this, especially when you decided to follow through and attack me on Voltage, so wasn’t it just that I put your wife out of action and eliminate the problem? See Solomon, I want you to listen very closely…..
(Bethany gets closer to the camera.)
Dr. Bethany Blue: …. I could have paralyzed or even killed your wife so that she could burn in hell with the devil himself. But instead, I let her live so that you can watch her suffer in pain over and over reminding yourself what I am capable of. You gave me a warning, so I will do the same, King of Elite, I am not afraid of you because I saw firsthand what you did to my husband. But in two weeks, I am going to show you that no God can stop you from the hands of a real one, because that is what Doctor’s are. Solomon, your life is in my hands.
(Bethany smiles as the Tron goes off, Solomon just stares at it for a second shaking in anger as his theme starts to play. He doesn’t move, instead he slowly then cracks a smile as the camera fades to a commercial break.)
“We Won’t Back Down” by Ra plays throughout the speakers as Mattias Burke emerges from gorilla onto the stage. He takes a deep breath before making his way to the ring, embracing a few fans along the way as he looks ready for a fight and perhaps the biggest of his career.)

(“Be Legendary” by Pop Evil echoes throughout the Scotiabank Centre to a loud reaction from the crowd. Adam Lucas appears onto the entranceway and raises his EAW Answers World Championship on the stage to pyro. He smiles as he slaps the championship onto his shoulder while he marches down towards the ring.)
Gina Romano: AND HIS OPPONENT….FROM NEW YORK CITY…..WEIGHING IN AT 231 POUNDS… HE IS THE REIGNING EAW ANSWERS WORLD CHAMPION… ‘THE NEEEEEXTT LEVEL!’…. ADAAAAMMMMMMMM!! LUUUUUUUUCASSSSS!!
(Ding! Ding! Ding!)
Deadprez: This pick your poison match is underway as Adam Lucas and Mattias Burke meet in the middle of the ring, staring face-to-face before they kick off what is bound to be a hard-hitting and unforgiving battle. Both competitors look around the arena before placing their eyes back to one another, leading them to engage in a collar-and-elbow tie-up! Both men with a power struggle here, trying to gain the upper hand on the other with neither of them is giving up. An equal exchange, but Adam eventually forces Mattias into a side headlock as Mattias tries to push him to the ropes but Adam tightens the grip dropping to a knee! Mattias is trying to fight out before Adams forces him back first into the corner as the referee creates a bit of separation between the two of them. Adam backs up inviting Mattias to step up which we all know he will do. He knows just how big of an opportunity this is against the Answers World Champion and won’t back down a bit.
Eve: Mattias does just that as he steps up and they lock up in another collar and elbow tie-up once again! Mattias tries to escape by bouncing Lucas off the ropes, but Adam screeches to a halt, slides down to one knee and maintains the headlock. The world champion is not letting him get away for any moment right now, and Mattias presses down on his left thigh and hoists him up! Adam strengthens the headlock and Mattias starts back at the beginning. Mattias elevates him yet again, and Adam decides to drag him down to the ground, Mattias quickly counters it into a leg scissors. Adam tries to kip-up out of it, but Mattias keeps the scissors shut tight. Adam eventually is able to maneuver himself out of it, rolling Mattias onto his back and onto his knees as he escapes. Adam now runs the ropes whereas Mattias has his back turned! Kinkade rolls back and Adam dives over his legs and onto his feet!
Deadprez: Adam rebounds off the ropes and Mattias goes around the waist! GERMAN SUPLEX! But wait…the champion with a standing switch facing Mattias back as he goes for a German suplex of his own! Mattias reaches down and takes him down with one foot. He turns around and MATTIAS BEGINS DRIVING REPEATED ELBOW DROPS INTO HIS KNEE ON THE GROUND! And then Mattias grabs his right leg puts him in a half Boston crab just wrenching back on that leg as Adam tries his best to crawl over and force the rope break but Mattias is making him earn every inch! Adam begins to drag himself to the ropes and reaches out…AND GRABS IT FORCING THE BREAK ON THAT BOSTON CRAB! Mattias though doesn’t waste any time in dragging him back to the middle of the ring, but Adam flips over on his back and uses his free foot to kick Mattias right in the face causing Mattias to stumble backwards a few feet holding his nose in some pain buying Adam enough time to get back up to his feet as Mattias runs at him….BUT ADAM CATCHES HIM WITH A SPINEBUSTER PLANTING HIM HARD ON THE BACK OF HIS HEAD AS HE GOES FOR THE COVER!!

Gavin Kirkland: And there’s the kickout from Mattias as Adam rolls up to his feet and approaches Mattias in the corner who just rolled away there trying to regain a little bit of stamina while holding his head in some pain after how he landed taking that spinebuster a moment ago. Mattias though steps up and just clocks him right in the face with the point of his elbow! That looks like it caught Adam a bit off guard there as he drops down to a knee as Mattias sits himself on the top turnbuckle, what does he have in mind here, I GUESS WE’LL NEVER KNOW BECAUSE ADAM JUST POPPED BACK UP OUT OF NOWHERE AND JUMPS UP AND DRILLS HIM WITH A DROPKICK THAT SENDS MATTIAS TUMBLING DOWN ONTO THE APRON AND ONTO THE RINGSIDE FLOOR!
Eve: Mattias with a tough impact onto the ringside floor below as he uses the barricade to get up to his feet. Meanwhile, Adam Lucas exits the ring and goes around the ringpost and blindsides him with a jumping elbow strike right across the bridge of the nose! Adam leans him up agai st the barricade now and delivers a knife-edge chop! Adam with another knife-edge chop! …and another one! …and another one! and Mattias finally has enough of them and tries fighting back as he puts Lucas against the barricade! AND LIGHTS HIM UP WITH A KNIFE-EDGE CHOP OF HIS OWN! ..but the world champion is not phased by it! Adam with a smirk, but that smirk turns to a painful expression as MATTIAS PLANTS HIM WITH A ROUNDHOUSE KICK TO THE MIDSECTION! Mattias with a knife-edge chop followed by a stiff forearm smash.. and ADAM RESPONDS WITH A FOREARM SMASH OF HIS OWN! AND ANOTHER! AND ANOTHER! THE MOMENTUM SHIFTS JUST SWINGING BACK AND FORTH IN THE EARLY GOINGS IT SEEMS!

Deadprez: Adam gets the shoulder up and two and a half and Mattias goes right back on the attack mounting over Adam throwing several right hooks! Mattias was a split second away from scoring a clean pinfall victory over the Answers World Champion and he knows he can’t give him any room to breathe here and he is relentless in this attack right now as Adam is throwing up his forearms trying his best to block and absorbs these devastating forearm smashes to the face! Mattias lets out a forearm before standing up and begins stomping on his midsection to finish the job as he now begins to feel even more confidence for himself yet again! Mattias sees Adam leaning on the bottom rope as he walks over and begins to press down onto his back with both of his feet! The referee administers the five count here as he is just choking the life out of him with this!

Deadprez: Mattias eventually lets go with his hands up as Adam rolls away gasping for a breath of air. Mattias only backs away for a moment before going right back to work…and then delivers a penalty kick to the back of Adam before he quickly traverses up to the top turnbuckle… AND HE SOARS OFF THE TOP TURNBUCKLE.. AND HE BLASTS ADAM LUCAS IN THE BACK OF THE HEAD WITH A DIVING ELBOW DROP TO THE HEART!! Adam Lucas has been neutralized as Mattias now goes for another cover here!!

Eve: Another kickout from Adam and again Mattias goes back on the attack right away on our Answers World Champion! Mattias with a chinlock administered on the world champion here. Mattias slows down the tempo of this match decelerating the pace, but not for long as Adam begins to fight out of the chin lock. Adam is up off one knee, fighting out of the chinlock with shoulders directed into the midsection. Mattias notices that he might not be able to keep it maintained, and he lets go and he immediately blasts the upper torso of the world champion with a robust roundhouse kick! Lucas drops down to both knees and Mattias pulls him down and administers a seated armbar on the world champion just stretching thst arm out as far as he can!.
Gavin Kirkland: It has been all Mattias for the past couple of minutes surprisingly coming into this match swinging and we know our champion is always looking for an opening to break out of this drought. Adam to no one’s surprise thrusts up and gets his feet planted on the ground. He begins to fight out what Mattias has adapted into a hammerlock from the behind with backwards elbows to the gut. Mattias begins to soften his grip as a result of it, and Adam uses this as an opportunity to turn it around into a hammerlock of his own. Adam finally has an upper hand for the first time in many minutes, but now Mattias goes backwards, rolls forward, and breaks free of the hammerlock!
Eve: Mattias goes for the side headlock and tries applying as much pressure as he can, but Lucas immediately pushes him into the ropes. Adam swings for a punch, Mattias ducks under and rebounds off the ropes AND HE GOES FOR A HURRICANRANA! Adam shrugs him off at the last second and Mattias is able to miraculously land on his feet! AND LUCAS POPS HIM UP WITH A PUMP KICK CLEAN TO THE JAW! Both of them crawl in opposite directions from each other and now its pretty much a race to see who gets up first to gain the upper hand. Adam Lucas gets up to his feet first and starts to think what move is to be made next on the chess board. Deadprez: It is now the world champion’s turn to be in control of this match again as he meets Mattias in the corner he collided into.. and he drives his knee into his midsection before digging his foot into his face before running to the opposite corner….AND HE CHARGES FULL SPEED AND DELIVERS A STINGER SPLASH TO MATTIAS IN THE CORNER! ADAM HOLDS HIM FROM FALLING PUTTING HIM BACK IN THE CORNER BEFORE HEAD IRISH WHIPS HIM INTO THE CORNER THEY WERE JUST AT AND MATTIAS COLLIDES INTO THE CORNER.. BUT THIS TIME THE COLLISION WAS SO FATAL.. HE TUMBLES OVER THE TOP TURNBUCKLE AND SPLATTERS ONTO THE RINGSIDE FLOOR!! AND I DON’T THINK LUCAS WAS EXPECTING FOR THAT TO HAPPEN.. Eve: Adam now slides underneath the bottom rope and begins approaching Mattias who is trying to stir back to his feet. The referee warns him not to go out there, but he insists on meeting him on the outside and getting him back inside of the ring. Mattias is holding his lower back in pain, trying to calibrate himself as now Adam grabs him… and HE GRABS HIS HEAD AND HE BASHES IT INTO THE APRON.. AND HE REPEATEDLY BASHES IT INTO THE LED BOARD OF THE APRON BEFORE MATTIAS CANNOT REMAIN ON HIS FEET…AND ADAM CAN SENSE MATTIAS DOESN’T HAVE MUCH LEFT AS HE TOSSES HIM BACK IN THE RING AND QUICKLY FOLLOWS GETTING HIM UP AND GETTING HIM IN POSITION, ADAM TOSSES HIM TO THE ROPES LOOKING TO GO FOR HIS “LEVEL UP” POP-UP POWERBOMB AND PERHAPS PUT THE NAIL IN THE COFFIN OF THIS ONE –

Eve: A back and forth match where Mattias threw everything he had at Adam where it looked like he was truly about to pull off one of the biggest wins of his career but Adam showed once again why he’s the Answers World Champion. Nothing to hang his head about at all but Adam picks up more momentum heading into King Of Elite and you just know Chef Viz was all eyes on that match tonight.
(The final shot is of Adam Lucas celebrating his win up the ramp holding his title up high while Mattias sits up against the barricade disappointed on coming up short here tonight as it fades backstage.)
(Daryl Kincade is already standing in Kennedy Street’s office, Kennedy sat at her desk, with AJAX and Alana stood either side of her. She had asked Daryl to join them, and one other who they were all waiting for. Daryl stands there, looking around the office and feeling more than a little awkward at the silence.)
Daryl Kinkade: SOOO, anyone got any plans for next week?
(AJAX stares at Daryl, but Kennedy and Alana pay him very little heed at all.)
Daryl Kinkade: Hey big fella, how’s about you lose that look huh bruv before I knock you down to size.
(This does get Kennedy’s attention, mostly so that AJAX doesn’t tear into one of her roster.)
Kennedy Street: Be like Take That and have a little patience honey…
(A knock is heard at the door, Kennedy shouting for whoever it is to enter, Scott Diamond immediately appearing.)
Scott Diamond: You ask to… what the hell is he doing here?
(Scott looks at Daryl, Daryl shaking his head at Scott’s reaction.)
Daryl Kinkade: For a big man, you haven’t half got a fragile ego.
Scott Diamond: That right? Well, how about I show you how fragile your spine is and snap you in half.
(Kennedy holds up her hand.)
Kennedy Street: Silence please boys. Kennie is a very busy lady and has no time for bloodshed. And anyway, I have just had the carpet deep cleaned and any spillages will come out of your salary. Do you understand?
Scott Diamond: Perfectly, just make sure he keeps his mouth shut
Daryl Kinkade: That’s mad. That was exactly what I didn’t say to your Mom.
(Scott composes himself, knowing that now wasn’t the time to lose his temper.)
Kennedy Street: Mom jokes Daryl, you’re better than that honey.
(Daryl laughs.)
Daryl Kinkade: I’m really not you know?
(Kennedy puffs out her cheeks, but continues regardless.)
Kennedy Street: As I stated last week, the two of you may have lost your qualifying matches for King of Elite, but as I always say, Showdown is the land of opportunity, even when someone fails so miserably like the two of you did. I believe in second chances…
Scott Diamond: Yeah, or Kinkade wouldn’t have been anywhere near the Chamber
Daryl Kinkade: And yet, I last longer that you… mind you everyone did right?
Kennedy Street: SO, the two of you will still compete at King of Elite in a Triple Threat match.
Daryl Kinkade: I get my hands on him again… oh good.
Kennedy Street: Yes you do… and the winner of that Triple Threat will face the Answers World Champion whoever that may be, at Reasonable Doubt, our Showdown exclusive event.
Scott Diamond: Viz then?
Daryl Kinkade: Damn, you and I agree on something.
Kennedy Street: Or Adam Lucas… but anyways, yes that is correct.
Daryl Kinkade: But hold on… doesn’t a triple threat need like, three folk?
Kennedy Street: That is very observant of you honey, and quite out of character may I add.
Scott Diamond: Maybe all those times I smashed his head into the Chamber finally knocked some sense into him.
Kennedy Street: The third person will be whoever loses in the main event between Jon Kelton and PJ Hendrix. The three of you not only getting the Answers World Championship shot, but also the main event at Reasonable Doubt.
(Kennedy allows that information to digest, and then looks towards the two men for a response. It is Scott who is first to react, as he speaks with a smile on his face.)
Scott Diamond: You know what Kennedy, I’m alright with that. I believe I deserve my shot by right…
(Daryl scoffs, putting his hand over his mouth to suppress his laughter.)
Scott Diamond: But if I get to beat the crap out of Daryl and whoever else, then that’s alright with me.
Kennedy Street: Good. And you Daryl?
(Daryl pauses, before finally speaking.)
Daryl Kinkade: Honest answer? Total transparency, right?
Kennedy Street: Kennie would appreciate that yes.
Daryl Kinkade: I’ll take it, because I promised myself that I would be World Champion before this season ended. If it gets me a shot against that floppy haired fraud, or Chef Viz, then I’m going to take it. But I’m not happy like Scotty here.
Scott Diamond: And why am I not surprised?
Daryl Kinkade: Hey dude, I get it, you’re over the moon, getting another chance after your abject failure. But me, I deserve more, after I was royally robbed by Jon Kelton. And now he might get another shot too? That doesn’t sit right with me.
(Kennedy is about to speak, but Alana gets there first. Normally Kennedy would be offended, but not when it is her best friend in the whole wide world.)
Alana Starr: Daryl, I understand your frustrations, but the referee has the final decision. That has always been the case.
Daryl Kinkade: Really or is it because my face doesn’t fit and I tip the apple cart a little.
Alana Starr: I assure you that we treat our roster the same way, whoever they are. That way we make sure that EAW remains full of the GOODness I have brought since my appointment.
Daryl Kinkade: Really? Well you know something babe, I am not good with that
Alana Starr: Babe? I am not a little piggy.
Daryl Kinkade: And so tonight, I’m going to make sure I am at ringside so that the right person wins and justice prevails.

(Daryl leaves, Scott watching him go for a moment before speaking.)

(Scott then leaves, leaving Alana looking dumbfounded. Kennedy just chuckles, before looking up at Alana who still seems stunned.)

(Kennedy picks up her mobile phone and heads out the door, AJAX and Alana both following her, as the scene fades to the last commercial break of the night.)

He knows exactly what is on the line tonight. He poses for the crowd, giving them what they paid for before making his way to the ring.)
Gina Romano: THE FOLLOWING MATCH IS THE SHOWDOWN SEMI-FINALS OF THE 2024 KING OF ELITE TOURNAMENT! THE WINNER OF THIS MATCH WILL MOVE ON TO REPRESENT THE SHOWDOWN BRAND AT THE KING OF ELITE FINALS!!! INTRODUCING FIRST…FROM CHARLOTTE, NORTH CAROLINA…WEIGHING IN AT 195 POUNDS…HE IS THE ‘PHANTOM’…PJ HENDRX!!!!
Gavin Kirkland: Scott Diamond and Solomon Stane. ‘The Mad Titan’ and ‘The Deliverer’ stood in PJ Hendrx’s way in the first and second round of this tournament and PJ was able to overcome them using his smarts and opening provided for him. Now, he plans to overcome Jon Kelton and head to the King of Elite Finals, but it’s not going to be easy. After all, Jon is a former National Elite Champion. He is a veteran. He has a ton of experience in his disposal.
Eve: Not only that, but Jon Kelton and PJ Hendrx faced off earlier in the season for the National Elite Championship. It was thanks to Jon Kelton and The Devolution why he missed a month at the beginning of the season. When they did face off, it was Jon that came out on top. There’s no doubt that is something on top of PJ’s mind. He’s done unthinkable things in this tournament, and he just needed to do this one more time to head towards the finals.
Deadprez: There is a part of PJ Hendrx that is grateful for their previous encounter. Despite defeat, it helped shape PJ into completely transforming himself, realizing what he was doing wrong and what he needed to fix on. I know he would love to truly show that he is a man of his word by defeating Jon tonight, but it’s not going to be easy.
(‘Paint It Black’ by The Rolling Stones begins to play through the speakers as the crowd immediately boos as Jon Kelton comes out with a serious look on his face, knowing what is on the line and what he is going to do to secure the victory.)
Gina Romano: INTRODUCING HIS OPPONENT… REPRESENTING THE DEVOLUTION…FROM DALLAS, TEXAS…WEIGHING AT THE WEIGHT OF 210 POUNDS…HE IS ‘THE END OF THE WORLD’…JON KELTON!!!!
Gavin Kirkland: Kirk Redwood and Daryl Kinkade stood in the way of Jon Kelton and his chances of reaching the semi-finals. While his tactics have always been questionable, especially this season, he managed to make it to this position without any sort of controversy —

Deadprez: Well, the match with Daryl Kinkade could be debated. Daryl did attempt the same thing, but it is what it is. A former New Breed Champion, National Elite Champion, a veteran in this company, who may look to fulfill the prophecy that was set upon him all those ages ago, when he was just a bright-eyed kid. Jon has made his aspirations to be World Champion very clear and winning King of Elite is a way of doing that. He faced PJ Hendrx back at Territorial Invasion. He defeated PJ and now, he is going to need to do it again if he wants to reach the King of Elite finals. Can he do that? We’re going to find that out…RIGHT NOW!

Gavin Kirkland: PJ HENDRX GOES RIGHT AFTER JON KELTON WHO DUCKS THE UPPER HALF OF HIS BODY OUT OF THE RING! Jon is informing the referee that he’s not totally prepared at the moment and that he needs PJ backed away from him! The referee is respecting Jon’s wishes towards the beginning of this match! Clearly, you can see that PJ is not in the mood for any of this nonsense and can’t you blame him?
Eve: It’s the semi-finals. The winner will represent the Showdown brand in the King of Elite Finals in Johannesburg, South Africa. After a moment or two, Jon Kelton sticks his head back inside the ring. He has his hands up, ready to defend himself, if needed to be. PJ HENDRX HAS HIS FISTS UP, READY TO GET THIS MATCH UNDER WAY! PJ BEGINS TO SWING, BUT JON PLACES THE REFEREE IN FRONT OF HIM! PJ PUNCHES THE REF —
Deadprez: Not quite, Eve! I thought that PJ Hendrx was going to get himself disqualified so soon into this match! I wouldn’t have been surprised to see Jon resort to some of the underhanded tactics that he has used during his time in The Devolution as well as in the first and second round of this tournament. That dear referee was envisioning his entire life, thinking that he was going to get knocked out for a second. PJ manages to grab onto the arms of the referee and stop himself and assure the referee that nothing was going to happen to him!
Gavin Kirkland: BUT, WITH THAT DISTRACTION, JON KELTON MOVES IN FRONT OF THE REFEREE AND THROWS A FOREARM, TAKING BACK PJ HENDRX! Jon begins to attack the spine of the former Interwire Champion, getting him to his knees! Jon grabs onto the waist of PJ before connecting with a belly-to-back mat slam! He maintains possession of the wrist lock as he slowly transitions into a front headlock! There, Jon begins to knee PJ in the stomach! He takes a step back before connecting with a high kick as that takes PJ down to his knees! Jon manages to pull PJ closer, draping one of his arms over the neck of Jon and connects with a snap suplex! Jon races back to his feet as he’s gesturing for PJ to get back to his feet as —
Eve: Jon Kelton charges forward, connecting with a big boot to PJ Hendrx, knocking him to the ropes! Then, we see Jon connecting with a series of fists to the spine of PJ, trying to get him to collapse down to his knees! But, PJ shoves Jon away a bit! He’s looking to get something going for himself! But, it seems like Jon manages to lift a knee up, stopping PJ in his tracks! He grabs PJ by his arm, whipping him to the horizontal set of ropes across from him as PJ goes to those ropes! But, PJ manages to catch himself, preventing himself from rebounding off those set of ropes! Jon charges right at him, looking to knock him out of the ring, but PJ manages to lift Jon over and out of the ring!
Deadprez: JON KELTON MANAGES TO LAND ON THE APRON, BUT LOOK AT THIS! HE CONNECTS WITH A ROPE CHOKE ON PJ HENDRX! HE IS CHOKING HIM WITH THE TOP ROPE AS I BELIEVE THAT THE REFEREE MIGHT NEED TO INTERVENE IN ALL OF THIS!

Gavin Kirkland: Jon Kelton releases the choke hold! He knows better than to risk disqualification and ruin his chances of heading to that King of Elite finals! He knows how amazing it would be to represent Showdown at the finals! But, Jon manages to catch PJ Hendrx by his ankles and takes him down! PJ lands directly on his face! Jon maintains control of the ankles as he goes to apply a ring post figure four leg lock! NO! WAIT, JON EXTENDS ONE OF THE LEGS BACK BEFORE SWINGING IT TOWARD THE RING POST! YIKES! WE SEE PJ SQUIRMING IN PAIN! BUT, JON STILL HAS CONTROL OF THE LEGS AS HE APPLIES THAT FIGURE FOUR LEG LOCK AROUND THE RING POST!
Eve: Now, this is a pretty interesting approach from Jon Kelton! He has the leg lock applied tightly around the ring post as Jon is yelling at PJ Hendrx to throw in the towel! Jon fully believes that it’s more than his moment to fulfill the potential that was expected of him from over a decade ago. But, let’s not forget that PJ has managed to overcome some of the biggest beasts and monsters in the past two rounds of this tournament.

Eve: PJ Hendrx grabs Jon Kelton into position as he hooks him by the arm and takes him back with a hip toss, causing Jon to land in a seated position! PJ gets in front of Jon before connecting with a basement dropkick as that causes Jon to fall to his back! PJ uses the horizontal set of ropes in front of him to springboard off of them and connect with a springboard moonsault! He lands right on top of Jon as PJ is in position for the count!

Deadprez: Jon Kelton with a kick out! PJ Hendrx begins to apply some body scissors on Jon, trying to keep him there for the time being! I think that this might be a great approach, knowing that PJ can’t be wasting his energy so much! I think that’s exactly what Jon would like for PJ to do, but PJ needs to to preserve the energy! He needs to understand that he’s in the ring with not only a former champion, but a veteran, who will find just the smallest of things to do that will benefit himself in the long-run in this match!
Gavin Kirkland: Jon Kelton is trying to get those body scissors off of him! But, PJ Hendrx is keeping them snitched in, knowing that Jon will struggle! Anything to weaken Jon; anything to make sure that he does not have the full strength to deliver his moves to the utmost impact! Jon is really going to need to remain calm in this situation! (The camera pans to the ramp as Daryl Kinkade begins to make his way down the ram. He is clearly amused by the action that is happening inside the ring. This catches Jon Kelton off guard a bit, knowing that Jon did defeat Daryl last week to get to the semi-finals, but doesn’t think much else about it.)
Eve: It’s Daryl Kinkade, the man that Jon Kelton defeated to advance to the semi-finals last week. But, he doesn’t look to be in a bit of a rush or anything. He doesn’t look frantic to be stepping inside that ring. But, as we focus inside the ring, we see that Jon Kelton has PJ in position for the ‘Ego Trip’ — which is Jon’s variation of the double underhook DDT! BUT, PJ MANAGES TO TWIST HIMSELF OUT OF THE HOLD! HE MANAGES TO CATCH JON BY SURPRISE WITH A SNAP DDT! JUST WITH THAT, PJ WAS ABLE TO TURN THIS MATCH FOR HIMSELF! THE TWO ELITISTS ARE LAYING THERE FOR A MOMENT AND STILL, IT SEEMS LIKE DARYL IS NOTHING MORE THAN OBSERVING THIS MATCH.
(Daryl Kinkade has made himself comfortable on one side of the ringside area. Then, a crowd gets antsy as Scott Diamond is seen coming down the ramp. Now, the crowd is totally confused. PJ Hendrx was the Elitist who managed to defeat Scott in the first round, knocking what could have been a huge favorite in some eyes out of the tournament. It’s unclear why Scott is here, but Jon Kelton looks a bit off guard.)
Deadprez: Now, we are welcomed with the presence of the Hall of Famer, Scott Diamond, who was eliminated in the first round of the King of Elite tournament thanks to PJ Hendrx. I just wanna know what is making both Daryl Kinkade and Scott Diamond want to scout out competitors if they’re already out of the running to be King of Elite. It’s just a bit confusing here.
Gavin Kirkland: There’s nothing wrong with observing competition, DP! This is the wrestling show after all. We’re all about competition. We’re all about observing what we can do to elevate ourselves to the next level and what not. PJ is getting himself to his feet and I think he just realized that Scott Diamond is also at ringside, but tries to re-shift his focus back to Jon Kelton! He’s overcome men like Scott Diamond, Solomon Stane and now, Jon Kelton to stamp his ticket to Johannesburg! He is just one match away from potentially calling himself King of Elite!
Eve: I am over the moon for PJ Hendrx, who went through a tough bracket! He managed to overcome some favorites to win this tournament, conquering the odds and proving himself to be someone that you should not overlook!
(Jon Kelton is seen resting at the barricade, feeling disappointed at himself. He came so close to winning this match. But, it did not help that Scott Diamond and Daryl Kinkade had made their presence in this match. Meanwhile, Daryl begins to make his way up the ramp, nodding at the result of the match. Deadprez: It was an excellent run from Jon Kelton! I know, it must suck to come so close to winning this match and heading towards the finals. This match could have gone to any of them, honestly! I thought there were a ton of instances where Jon had won this match, but I was shocked to see the courage and heart of PJ Hendrx, which kept him alive in this match! Gavin Kirkland: What in the hell is going on??
(The crowd is cheering as the camera pans on Dynasty’s representative in the King of Elite Finals, a fellow former Interwire Champion and bright star, Joso, who has made himself known on the front row of the EAW Universe. Joso is having a blast with the crowd as he tries to get PJ Hendrx’s attention.)
Eve: It’s Dynasty’s representative in the King of Elite Finals, Joso! He must have been watching this match from the back and made his way to sit with the crowd when the result was set in stone! Joso is oozing with confidence! This man has been one of the brightest stars on the Dynasty brand! Future World Champion written all over him!
(PJ Hendrx has a smirk on his face as he returns the bantering with Joso. Both men are more than excited for King of Elite now.)
Deadprez: Two-thirds of the King of Elite finals are inside the arena! You can feel the excitement in the air!
Gavin Kirkland: We’re just missing one more finalist—
(Cutting Gavin Kirkland off, the crowd loses their shit as both Joso and PJ Hendrx assume that it is the third Elitist who will face them in the finals. Both men look at the ramp and different parts of the EAW Universe, hoping to get a glimpse of ‘The Guardian Angel,’ but no sign of them.)
Eve: THERE THEY ARE!
(The camera finally pans to Voltage’s representative, former New Breed Champion and one-half of NICHOLISM, Alex Myers up in the nosebleed seats, looking down at Joso and PJ Hendrx with a focused look on their face.)
Deadprez: It seemed like Alex Myers was watching this match from the privateness on the nosebleeds! Joso and PJ Hendrx have noticed Alex’s presence up in the nosebleed seats!
(Joso is gesturing for Alex to come down. PJ Hendrx begins to banter as Alex says nothing, their mysterious presence is felt throughout the arena.)
Gavin Kirkland: Joso, Alex Myers and PJ Hendrx are the three Elitists who will be vying for a chance to become the King of Elite. Which one of them will be able to capture the crown?
