Rich Russillo: Attacking the lower back, a REALLY SMART strategy from Layla! If you take out the lower back, you take out most of the lower strength of the body and suddenly it becomes A LOT harder to kick out! As you saw right there, McCray didn’t power out, she barely lifted her shoulder off the mat!
James Peters: Riley McCray pulls herself into the corner… and now to her feet, she’s really struggling here though, you can see the pain in her face… Layla walks towards the corner where she grabs McCray by the arm and whips her into the opposite corner… AND NOW LAYLA COMES CHARGING… BUT MCCRAY DUCKS OUT OF THE CORNER, MORE OF A COLLAPSE THAN A DUCK REALLY BUT IN ANY CASE SHE WAS ABLE TO AVOID THE ATTACK!! James Peters: But watch out, Buck Harrison recovered from that drop kick and he begins to deliver a series of punches to the back of Cormoran Worg but they have no effect and — OHHH!! Cormoran with a roundhouse kick — NO, Buck Harrison dodged it!
Rich Russillo: DROPKICK from Sid Alpha, he’s back in this and he dropkicked Buck Harrison and now he’s trying to… KAMEHAMEHA!!! The running forearm smash connects and takes Cormoran Worg down… Wait, what is Sid Alpha trying to do now? He’s placing Buck Harrison’s body over Cormoran Worg, what the hell is Alpha plotting?
James Peters: I think I know what he’s up to, Alpha just climbed on to the top turnbuckle and… He’s looking for a moonsault and IT CONNECTS — wait, NO! Buck Harrison got out of the way and Cormoran Worg catches Sid Alpha with a spear — The Trident connects, incredible!
Rich Russillo: Both men are now down but look! Buck Harrison is on the top rope now, he climbed on it as soon as he avoided that Moonsault. What is he going to do here… DOUBLE FOOT STOMP, THE STOMPER CONNECTS TO SID ALPHA, Worg rolled to the outside of the ring. This could be it, Buck Harrins hooks the leg as the referee goes for the count…

We saw how well that helped her the week prior but this time she’s able to follow up with a series of palm strikes and shoot kicks to try and wear down Kassidy’s defense. Kassidy immediately goes for a precise palm strike to the jaw of Jordyn Ace in defense BUT JORDYN DUCKS IN TIME AS SHE THROWS HERSELF AGAINST THE ROPES! Jordyn comes flying back but is stopped dead in her tracks as Kassidy hits her with a spinebuster! Kassidy isn’t done! She starts laying into Jordyn with closed-fist punches!
Rich Russillo: Get her, Kassidy! Kick her ass! Show her whos boss!!
James Peters: Can you stop with the biased commentary for once, Rich?
Rich Russillo: Hush, Peters! You’re ruining my focus on commentating this match! KASSIDY SLINGSHOTS JORDYN INTO THE ROPES BUT DESPITE BEING PUNCHED RECENTLY SHE FINDS A WAY TO REVERSE AND FLIP HERSELF OVER THE TOP! Jordyn lands on the ring apron and she’s got Kassidy in her sights… SPRINGBOARD ROLLING SENTON TO A STANDING KASSIDY HEART! Jordyn looks mighty impressed with herself after that one but she’s got a looong way to go before this match is anywhere near close to over! Kassidy is smart and is recovering in the corner behind Jordyn; That’s a great strategy from Kass!
James Peters: Jordyn turns around to see Kassidy attempting to recover and she charges for her opponent — KASSIDY GETS THE BOOTS UP! The soles of Kassidy’s boots are printed all over Jordyn’s face as she pulls herself onto the second rope and delivers a huge diving blockbuster! And Kassidy seems almost irritated as Jordyn, despite everything that has happened within the last minute is still smiling in satisfaction as she is begging Kassidy for more. Jordyn appears to be playing mind games and is getting under Kassidy’s skin. If Kassidy isn’t careful and falls for her tricks, Jordyn could easily win this!

James Peters: GOD, WHAT AN EVEN MATCHUP. BOTH OF THESE GAL’S COULD’VE GONE HOME WITH THE W, BUT TONIGHT WAS KASSIDY’S NIGHT. TONIGHT SHE BROUGHT IT AND WILL THEREFORE BE VICTORIOUS!
Rich Russillo: I can’t say that I wasn’t impressed with Jordyn Ace. She’s a rookie with a lot of fire embedded deep inside of her but I’m pretty sure this isn’t the last we’re going to see of the she-devil…
(Kassidy does her signature pose on the top turnbuckle as she winces in pain as RESURGENCE fades to commercial.)
(The camera cuts to the ring where we see Albert Hitchman and Scott Diamond standing in the center. Albert has a mic in his hand and smiles before going to talk as the crowd boos loudly.)
Albert Hitchman: “Ladies and gentlemen, we are here tonight with some VERY important news for you concerning that scoundrel Jackson Matthews.”
(The crowd cheers at the mention of Jackson, while Albert and Scott shake their heads in disapproval.)
Albert Hitchman: “A couple weeks ago, the man standing to my left, Scott Diamond, attacked Jackson Matthews, ultimately putting him on the shelf – where he belongs, I might add. But apparently, that was not enough to shut him up as we all saw last week, he was well enough to keep opening his mouth with an array of empty threats and idiotic comments towards Scott such as “he made the biggest mistake of his life”. Can you believe that?”
(Both men laugh.)
Albert Hitchman: “The only mistake Scott made was not COMPLETELY obliterating you and beating you so bad your jaw had to be wired shut. THAT was the mistake, and if we see you in REVOLT again-”
(Suddenly, “I Believe In A Thing Called Love” by The Darkness hits as the arena erupts in cheers. Jackson Matthews walks out after a few seconds on crutches and a microphone in one of his hands. He soaks in the reaction from the fans before his music dies down.)
Jackson Matthews: “You guys sure love running your mouths when people can’t defend themselves. Does it boost your ego to talk crap about an injured man? Like I said, Scott Diamond is a coward and I stand by that. Once I’m off these crutches, I’m getting revenge.”
(Scott Diamond grabs the mic from Albert.)
Scott Diamond: “I’d really like to see you try, buddy. I should’ve killed you when I had the chance. I won’t be making the same mistake twice. I’m gonna shut you up for good once you’re done licking your wounds then we’ll see who the coward is.”
Jackson Matthews: “Why don’t we find out right now?”
(Jackson throws one of his crutches to the ground, revealing he’s no longer injured! Jackson smiles before running down to the ring and sliding in with the other crutch in hand.)

Astraea’s theme slowly fades as “Resurge” by Gone is Gone begins to blast throughout the building. A confident Sienna Jade appears with her Freeweight Championship strapped around her waist. Sienna raises an eyebrow and smirks as she locks eyes with Astraea, who is in the ring jumping in place. Sienna’s smirk quickly diminishes as she begins to stomp her way down the ramp and towards the ring.)

Rich Russillo: James, did you not see that sick freak Lexi enjoying every second of that beat down? Don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed it too, but she’s practically in the ring herself — couldn’t she had done something – she’s RIGHT THERE?! Really goes to show her character, ugh!
James Peters: Calm down, Rich! Lexi is just here as an innocent bystander observing her opponent before their big match at Revolt 2! Lexi has her legs and arms crossed as she gives the two women duking it out in the ring a huge smile. But let’s shift our focus back to the ring, shall we? Sienna and Astraea both circle the ring, both hoping to find a weakness in the other’s footing. Astraea manages to lock her arms around Sienna’s waste as Sienna quickly manages to shift her body and releases Astraea’s grip. Sienna scurries and now wraps HER arms around Astraea but I think Sienna has underestimated Astraea’s amazing strength! Sienna is locking her arms that are wrapped around Astraea’s midsection as hard as she possibly can, but Astraea is using that powerlifting strength as she successfully detaches Sienna’s hand and escapes! As Astraea is shifting her body, she anchors herself and grabs Sienna’s arm as she whips her to the ring ropes. Sienna comes bouncing back as Astraea ducks. Sienna comes back one more time BUT IS TAKEN DOWN WITH A BIG BOOT FROM ASTRAEA JORDAN! You can see Astraea’s rubber sole pull back Sienna’s facial skin as Sienna ran first into her shoe. Sienna falls down and lightly grazes her face as Astraea goes for the cover!

Rich Russillo: And our Freeweight champion kicks out! Astraea immediately stands as she grabs Sienna by her hair. Astraea is attempting to forcibly raise Sienna up but Sienna shows some resilience as she pushes Astraea back! SIENNA WITH A STIFF KNEE TO ASTRAEA’S MIDSECTION! All of the air in Astraea’s lungs were simply blown out as Sienna pushes Astraea to the nearest ring corner. Sienna somehow managed to choose the turnbuckle that’s right near Lexi. What a coincidence!
James Peters: You jokin’ Peters? Look at Sienna’s face! I can’t really hear all that well but I think Sienna is talking some smack to the number one contender for her title! Sienna pushes Astraea’s face back with the palm of her hand and shows Astraea’s … um… exposed chest. Sienna licks the palm of her free hand and raises it high… AND DOWN COMES THE HAND ON THE CHEST OF ASTRAEA JORDAN! A SICKENING CHOP THAT COULD BE HEARD AROUND THE WORLD! Sienna is looking at Lexi as she gives ANOTHER chop! God, Lexi appears absolutely unfazed as Sienna notices. Sienna has completely taken her focus off of her current opponent and has shifted it to her future opponent! Remember, ladies and gentlemen, these two have been at one another’s throat since this match was announced a couple of weeks ago. It’s been nothing but intense altercations every time these two have met and I think everything is quickly coming to its boiling point. Sienna is shouting complete obscenities as Lexi but the once serene and calm Lexi wishes to no longer take this trash talking! Lexi has now stood up from her chair and is walking towards the ring apron where Sienna is located! Sienna is acting like a seething animal as she invites Lexi to come into “her” ring! LEXI HAS JUST HOPPED INTO THE RING APRON AND THE REFEREE IS TRYING TO GET HER BACK TO HER SEAT!
Rich Russillo: WAIT, HERE COMES ASTRAEA JORDAN! SHE’S WHIPPING THE LIVING HELL OUT OF SIENNA JADE WITH HER BRAID! SHE’S WHIPPING SIENNA AS IF SHE WAS A DOG! The audience is absolutely LOVING this as Astraea grabs a handful of her braid and brings it down on the back of Sienna Jade! Sienna is on all fours as she’s attempting to crawl to a safe place. But here comes Astraea trailing behind with yet ANOTHER braid whip to the back of our champion. I believe she calls this the “Whoop that trick”! Whoa, wait! Peters, are you seeing what I’m seeing?! Red, vibrant lines are beginning to appear on the lower body of Sienna Jade as she’s wincing in agonizing pain. Sienna managed to crawl to the bottom ring rope as she sighs in relief. BUT ASTRAEA ISN’T FINISHED! Astraea just tugged Sienna by her leg and brought her back into the middle of the ring. Astraea stands above the body of Sienna who is currently face-down… ASTRAEA JUST WRAPPED HER BRAID AROUND THE NECK OF SIENNA! SIENNA’S FACE IS TURNING RED AS SHE’S SCREAMING! ASTRAEA IS PULLING TIGHT AND ADDING PRESSURE BUT SIENNA QUICKLY EXTENDS HER LONG ARMS AND REACHES THE BOTTOM ROPE! THE REFEREE IS COUNTING AND DEMANDING ASTRAEA TO LET GO AND SHE FINALLY DOES! Both Astraea and Sienna have been having quite the back and forth this week so I think this was REALLY satisfying for Astraea to do.
James Peters: Astraea definitely looks content as she stands and walks to the center of the ring. Astraea is engaging with the fans as she grabs her braid and begins to swing it in a circle as she gives a confident smile to the camera. What a sweet gal!
Rich Russillo: SWEET? Did you not just witness this woman whip our champ like she’s a hog!? If you think that’s “SWEET” then I wonder what you find fucking disturbing.
James Peters: Really, Rich, another comment about my sexual preferences– OH! SIENNA HAS MANAGED TO GET TO HER FEET AS SHE PULLED HERSELF UP WITH THE ROPES. Sienna is grabbing her neck as she coughs wildly! The ref is checking with Sienna as she signals that she’s fine… BUT HERE COMES ASTRAEA AS SHE TURNS SIENNA AROUND AND PUTS SIENNA’S ARM OVER HER SHOULDER… OLYMPIC SLAM! ASTRAEA THROWS SIENNA OVER HER SHOULDERS AS SIENNA LANDS HIP FIRST! SIENNA IS IN PAIN AS ASTRAEA GOES FOR THE COVER ONCE MORE!

Rich Russillo: A KICK OUT AT ONE BY THE FREEWEIGHT CHAMPION! I think Astraea is slowly coming to the realization that it’s going to take A LOT more for the champion to go down. Sienna Jade would be caught dead before having to lose to a newcomer like Astraea Jordan and even though it would be smarter for Sienna to stay down and accept the L to avoid potential injury going into the biggest match of her life — she’s still going strong. Think whatever you want about the champion, Peters, but you can’t deny that her mindset is quite admirable.
James Peters: Sienna is on her knees as she pulls herself yet again to her feet by the ring ropes. Sienna is quickly stopped as Astraea puts the champ in a sleeper hold! Astraea is working on that neck as she flexes her biceps as she squeezes as hard as she can, an effort to knock her opponent out! Sienna is down on one knee as she’s quickly letting her exhaustion get the best of her. But the champion won’t go down as she’s reaching her hand back and pulling on Astraea’s braid as hard as she can! Astraea’s head cocks forward as Sienna has her braid clasped between her two hands. Astraea has no choice but to let go as she attempts to have her braid released. Sienna stands back and HITS ASTRAEA WITH THE WITCHES HAMMER! THE RIPCORD ROLLING ELBOW IS SUCCESSFULLY EXECUTED AS SHE HITS ASTRAEA DEAD IN THE JAW! That took EVERYTHING out of Sienna as she, too, collapsed on the floor. Sienna crawls towards Astraea who face-planted and rolls her body over. Sienna hooks the leg and goes for the pin!

Rich Russillo: ANNNNND A KICK OUT!!!! Sienna groans as she wishes this damn match would be over! I feel you girl! Sienna puts her hands near her temples as she is trying to figure out what in the world to do next. Sienna charges over Astraea as both women are on their feet… SIENNA RUSHES FROM CORNER TO CORNER AS SHE DELIVERS A PICTURE PERFECT DROPKICK TO THE CHEST OF ASTRAEA JORDAN! ASTRAEA STRUGGLES THROUGH THE ROPES BUT MANAGES TO KEEP A HOLD OF HERSELF AND LANDS ON THE APRON! Sienna thinks she made Astraea fall through the ropes and onto the outside of the ring as she begins to clap in a mocking fashion. Sienna turns back and notices that Astraea is still holding on as Sienna charges! She rams shoulder first into the midsection of Astraea that sends her flying!
James Peters: NO! NOT QUITE! Sienna misses as Astraea swiftly moves to the side! Astraea grabs a hold of Sienna’s neck as she drops down to the ring floor! OH GOD! SIENNA’S HEAD SNAPPED IN A WAY THAT I WOULDN’T WANT TO EVER SEE! SIENNA FALLS BACK AND GRABS HER THROAT AS ASTRAEA SLIDES BACK IN! ASTRAEA IS PUMPED! ASTRAEA IS READY TO END THIS! SHE GRABS SIENNA AND IT LOOKS LIKE SHE’S GOING FOR THE LATE REGISTRATION! SHE POSITIONS SIENNA IN A POWERBOMB AND LIFTS HER UP!!
Rich Russillo: SHE LIFTS SIENNA AND TRANSITIONS TO THE CUTTER BUT SIENNA INSTEAD LANDS ON HER FEET!
James Peters: AND SIENNA JADE FRANTICALLY GIVES A STIFF KICK TO THE BACK OF ASTRAEA’S HEAD! SHE THEN GRABS ASTRAEA AT THE VERY LAST SECOND… R…D…G!!! THE BRIDGING FISHERMAN SUPLEX CONNECTS! SIENNA IS BRIDGING AND GOES FOR THE COVER!

LEXI SHECKLER HASN’T SHOWN MUCH EMOTION THROUGHOUT HER ENTIRE STAY AT RINGSIDE BUT RIGHT NOW IT’S AS IF THE DEVIL HAS POSSESSED HER BODY AND SHE’S READY TO EAT SIENNA’S SOUL FOR DINNER! Lexi grabs Sienna and throws her to the outside of the ring. Sienna looks jaded and exhausted as LEXI GRABS HER BY HER HAIR AND TIGHTS AND FLINGS HER TOWARDS THE STEEL STEPS! SIENNA JUST COLLAPSES AS LEXI WALKS TOWARDS HER AND BEGINS TO KICK AND STOMP! THE LIFELESS BODY OF THE FREEWEIGHT CHAMPION IS BEING THROWN AROUND LIKE A RAG DOLL, RUSSILLO!
Rich Russillo: LEXI MANAGES TO THROW SIENNA BACK IN THE MIDDLE OF THE RING AS LEXI STRATEGICALLY GRABS AN UNFOLDED STEEL CHAIR AND PLACES IT NEAR SIENNA. Lexi has now hopped on the outside of the ring apron and is demanding for Sienna to rise! Sienna is showing signs of life as she uses the ring ropes to slowly pull herself up. Look at the eyes of Sienna, Peters. If there was any glimmer of hope in them they’ve been completely flushed out by this point! Sienna is exhausted and barely conscious but somehow manages to make it on her wobbly two feet… LEXI, WHO IS ON THE RING APRON, JUMPS TO THE TOP ROPE… HERETIC DDT! THE 720 DDT HAS BEEN PLANTED AND SIENNA’S HEAD LANDED RIGHT ON THE STEEL CHAIR!! LEXI IS LIVID! LEXI IS SEETHING! THE VEINS IN LEXI’S NECK ARE ABOUT TO BURST AS SHE WANTS TO FIGHT FOR THE TITLE THEN AND THERE! LEXI IS SCREAMING AT THE FACE OF SIENNA JADE AND I DON’T THINK WE’VE EVER SEEN THIS SIDE OF THE BLACK LABEL! James Peters: Lexi Sheckler is staring at the glistening title as she enters the ring once more. Lexi once again glosses over the championship as she lays it next to the completely defeated Freeweight champion.

Rich Russillo: Ladies and gentlemen, what in the hell did we just watch. This match between Astraea Jordan and Sienna Jade was one for the history books until it was rudely INTERRUPTED by that… that… that thing over there!
James Peters: What we just witnessed may be foreshadowing what is to come at REVOLT 2… If I was Sienna Jade, I would be very, very concerned. I apologize to anyone disturbed by the previous image… thanks for tuning in, folks.
