[EARLIER TONIGHT]
(The camera fades backstage to the parking area. After a little while, Allen Livingston steps into the frame with a microphone in his hand. At the same time, a limousine is shown turning into the garage on the far side.)
Allen Livingston: Itchaboyallenlivingston now check it out, see that limo right there? Inside is Albert Hitchman. Now I’m not pretending to have any sources or nothing… BUT we know that wherever Albert is, another individual is closely behind. We know he’s signed with REVOLT! We know HE’S gonna debut sooner or later… can tonight be the night?!
(Livingston runs up to the limo as the door opens. Albert Hitchman steps out in his signature gray suit sporting a wide grin. At first sight of Livingston though, the grin fades quickly)
Albert Hitchman: Not now.
Allen Livingston: Sir, please… just a few words.
Albert Hitchman: No.
(Albert Hitchman removes a Blackberry from his breast pocket and begins feverishly typing on it as he walks through the garage into the arena. Allen Livingston follows briskly behind)
Allen Livingston: You’re here though, and there’s only ONE reason you could be here… is–
Albert Hitchman*keeping full attention on his Blackberry: Sir… do you know how busy of a man I am? This ain’t my first gig today and it ain’t gonna be my last. I have places to be after this. I have other places to be RIGHT NOW but I prioritized this over them. I have no time for your questions, you’ll find out why I’m here later tonight, as will everyone else. *Hitchman approaches the locker room. He opens up the door and heads halfway in before turning back.* Until then, good day.
(Livingston tries one final time to get something out of Hitchman but the door closes in his face.)
Allen Livingston: Man… who got a Blackberry in 2018 anyway…
(Allen Livingston walks off as the camera fades out)
(The camera zooms inside the arena. It gives us a view of the stage. One big LED screen with a smaller second one right on top of it. A narrow ramp down to the ringside area where the commentary booth is. We get a pan shot of James Peters giving a thumbs up to the camera while Rich Russillo rolls his eyes. The camera stops on a few fan signs before refocusing in on the commentators)
James Peters: Well… WHO’S READY TO MAKE MORE HISTORY?! HELLLLOOOOO EVERYBODY, JAMES PETERS AND RICH RUSSILLO HERE, WE ARE LIVE FROM THE FLORENCE CIVIC CENTER IN SOUTH CAROLINA… BROADCASTING ONLY ON FOX SPORTS 1… AND WELL, HERE WE ARE AGAIN RICH! MOST OF THE JITTERS ARE GONE… HOT OFF THE HEELS OF A RESURGENCE THAT WE’RE STILL TRYING TO PROCESS!!
Rich Russillo: That’s right, last night in the main event of Resurgence, the ENTIRE Freeweight division came onto the stage and attacked Aria Jaxon. Aria would insist that her match with Sienna Jade go on as scheduled but Sienna was able to make quick work of the beaten down Aria. The closing moments of the show made it appear that Sienna Jade was in on the attack and the entire division had the attack planned out… but why?! Hopefully we can start sorting this out tonight.
(The camera fades into the ring where Bella Braxton is waiting with a microphone in hand)
Bella Braxton: The following triple threat contest is scheduled for one fall!
(“R U Mine (Instrumental)” by Arctic Monkeys hits as MZA approaches the stage. He stops mid-way down the ramp to embrace the crowd before continuing down the ramp)
Bella Braxton: Making his way to the ring first, from The United Kingdom… weighing in at 183 pounds… EMMMMM ZEEEEE AYYYYY!!
James Peters: I’ll tell you what Rich, I don’t envy these three guys at all, they have a tall order ahead of themselves if they want to try and top the triple threat match we saw last night on Resurgence!
(“Explode” by Written by Wolves hits as Jacob Steele makes his way to the ring)
Bella Braxton: From Charlotte, North Carolina… weighing in at 220 pounds… JAAAAACCCOOOBBBBBBB STTTTEEEEEEEEELLLLLEEEEE!!
Rich Russillo: It’s an impossible task to ask them to do, Peters. Just let them have their match, alright? No need to compare it.
(“In The End” by Black Veiled Brides hits as James Roberts makes his way to the ring)
Bella Braxton: And from Greenwich, Connecticut… weighing in at 225 pounds… JAAAAMMMMEEEEESSS ROOOOBBBBERRRRTTTTSSS!!
James Peters: I don’t see the problem in making comparisons when they’re obviously there! I’m not the only one making them!
Rich Russillo: Yeah… but the others aren’t the voice of REVOLT!
(The referee goes to signal for the bell but stops as “In the Air Tonight” by Phil Collins begins to play)
James Peters: OH MY GOD!!
Rich Russillo: HE’S HERE!!
(Scott Diamond bursts through the curtain to a huge mixed reaction from the crowd. Albert Hitchman follows behind with a microphone in his hand)
James Peters: SCOTT DIAMOND IS HERE AND HE’S MAKING A B LINE FOR THE THREE MEN IN THE RING!! HE SLIDES IN AND JAMES ROBERTS GOES ON THE ATTACK BUT HE’S EASILY PUSHED AWAY… MZA NOW COMES CHARGING… BUT SCOTT TOSSES HIM OVER HIS SHOULDERS… THE VORTEX!! MY GOD SCOTT DIAMOND THROWING MZA AROUND LIKE A SACK OF FEATHERS!! JAMES ROBERTS COMES FROM HIM A SECOND TIME… BUT DIAMOND THROWS HIM OVER HIS SHOULDERS NOW… A SECOND VORTEX!!
Rich Russillo: DIAMOND IS CLEARING HOUSE HERE!! AND NOW IT’S DOWN TO JUST HIM AND JACOB STEELE!!
James Peters: DIAMOND LUNGES FOR JACOB STEELE… BUT STEELE LEAPS ON TOP OF HIM AND THROWS A FEW SHOTS OVER THE BACK… BUT DIAMOND TAKES HIM DOWN TO THE CANVAS… MOUNTING HIMSELF ON TOP OF HIM AND BEGINS UNLOADING WITH FISTS AND FOREARMS… BUSTING HIM OPEN RIGHT AWAY!! SCOTT DIAMOND HAS LAID WASTE TO THESE THREE MEN WITHOUT EVEN BREAKING A SWEAT!!
(Diamond rises to his feet as Hitchman enters the ring with the microphone in his hand)
Albert Hitchman: THIS IS JUST A TASTE!! REVOLT! YOU’VE OFFICIALLY BEEN PUT ON NOTICE FROM THIS POINT FORWARD… NOTHING WILL EVER BE THE SAME AGAIN!! He doesn’t care who you are, what you do, what side you’re on… if you are in his way… THIS WILL BECOME YOU *Hitchman extends his arms to show the carnage around the ring*…
Albert Hitchman: Mike Silver, Talib Bari… I want you to listen to me, don’t just hear me, LISTEN TO ME!! You’ve seen what this man can do, you know that this is just a microcosm for what he’s truly capable. There’s a pile of bodies stacked a mile high that he’s run through… and you can add these three to the pile… and if you don’t give him what he wants, pretty soon you’ll be able to add your ENTIRE roster to it.
Albert Hitchman: Next week, Rebellion… Mike Silver you’re going to be here PERSONALLY to present Scott Diamond with the REVOLT! Heavyweight Championship… and if you don’t, oh if you don’t… IF YOU DON’T!!
(Albert Hitchman begins to laugh maniacally as he throws the mic over the ropes. He and Scott Diamond exit the ring)
James Peters: SCOTT DIAMOND IS HERE!! AND HE’S DEMANDED THE HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP BE PRESENTED TO HIM BY MIKE SILVER NEXT WEEK!!
Rich Russillo: We’re looking at our first Heavyweight Champion, Peters! If Silver has any sort of brain in him…
(The camera gets a close up of Scott Diamond’s face before it fades into commercial)
(Commercial break)
(Nobi is shown walking down the hallway with an annoyed expression on his face as he suddenly stops in his tracks as he’s approached by someone)
Nobi: What the hell do you want?
(Prince of Phenomenal appears in the frame to loud cheers from the crowd)
Prince of Phenomenal: :whoa: Easy there evil Nobi, I just came to inform you of some news that perhaps you’d be interested in knowing.
Nobi: I’m not interested in hearing anything from you, so get out of my way.
(Nobi keeps walking as POP then jumps in front of him to stop him)
Prince of Phenomenal: Okay now look, I don’t like you and you don’t like me. There is no love lost or found regardless of what company we’re in, but what I’m not going to let you do is let your newfound hatred in your heart stop me from achieving any of my goals, especially when they’re dependent on you.
Nobi: Dependent on me?
Prince of Phenomenal: I thought you’d never ask. You see when you’re a person of high importance like me, a man who has been the biggest name in this industry and will once again be that in due time, you get the exclusive news before everyone else does. You get to be “in the know” so to speak. My finger is on the pulse of this business, shoot I knew about REVOLT’s big move before most of the wrestling world did, I guess you could call me important. Basically, after Talib Bari made the announcement about the tag team match with our division that will determine who ends up facing one another for the Middleweight Championship, I made a few calls and ended up talking to the man himself. It turns out that not only are you my partner this week, but next week as well. That means my championship aspirations, and yours rely on us working together as a unit for this small time frame. Then we can rip each others heads off like we both want to do. What do you say?
(Prince of Phenomenal extends his hand out for a handshake)
(Nobi hesitates for a moment, as he slowly reaches his hand out, but Prince of Phenomenal quickly moves his hand out of the way and runs it across his hair)
Prince of Phenomenal: Gotta be quicker than that! See you out there tonight “partner”.
(Nobi looks on in a rage as Prince of Phenomenal struts off with a smile on his face)
Nobi: Fucking cunt.
(The camera fades to a front shot of the ramp)
Bella Braxton: The following is a FIVE MAN ELIMINATION MATCH!
(“I Fall Apart” by Post Malone hits as Osiris steps onto the stage with a scowl. He takes a good look around the arena before continuing down the ramp)
Bella Braxton: Introducing first, from Athens, Ohio… weighing in at 218 pounds… OOOOOOOSSSSSSIIIIRRRRIIIIISSSSSS!!
James Peters: Big opportunity on the line here tonight. No titles or anything but these first few shows have been all about making an impact, we have five young hungry competitors here and one of them has a chance to stand out from the rest of the pack!
(“Nobody Speaks Instrumental” by DJ Shadow hits as Oliver approaches the stage. He turns around slowly, making sure the camera gets a shot of the “Natural” written on his trunks.)
Bella Braxton: From New Orleans, Lousiana… weighing in at 210 pounds… OLLLLLLLIIIVVVVVERRRRRRR!!
Rich Russillo: You make it sound like make or break, Peters… jesus. Wins aren’t everything, there are other ways to make an impact. This is only week one.
(“Offended” by Eminem hits as Amaree steps onto the stage. He nods his head before sprinting down the ramp and leaping into the ring)
Bella Braxton: From Greensboro, North Carolina… weighing in at 185 pounds… AMMMMARRRRREEEEEEE!!
James Peters: Of course wins aren’t everything, but I don’t see how you can argue it isn’t the biggest way to make in impact! Anyway out next is Amaree and as you can probably tell by his entrance, his athleticism is off the charts!
(“Blood on the Leaves” by Kanye West hits as Alejandro Correa makes his way to the ring oozing confidence)
Bella Braxton: From Madrid, Spain… weighing in at 205 pounds… ALLEEEEJJJANNNDRRRROOOO COORRRREEEEAAAAA!!
Rich Russillo: We go from one man who’s athleticism is off the charts to one man who’s sheer wrestling ability may just be unmatched in REVOLT! I’m gonna do my best James Peters impression here, “I’ve been looking forward to watching this man compete all week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
(“Phenomenon” by Thousand Foot Krutch hits as Randy Hart makes his way to the ring. He’s met with boos from the crowd which only seem to rile him up and he starts asking the crowd for more)
Bella Braxton: And from Tampa, Florida… weighing in at 214 pounds… RANNDDDDYYYY HAARRRRTT!!
James Peters: You really are the worst you know that? I hope you do. I think you do. And I think you like knowing that.
(DING! DING! DING!)
Rich Russillo: Come on Peters, it’s time to call the match! Do your job!
James Peters*sighing*: All five men take a few steps away from the edge of the ring into the center… a lot of dancing eyes… IT’S OSIRIS WHO MAKES THE FIRST MOVE!! COCKING HIS RIGHT FIST BACK AND SENDING IT INTO THE JAW OF RANDY HART, FORCING HIM BACK INTO THE CORNER… AND OH LOOK OUT HERE!! IT’S ALL BREAKING DOWN!! RANDY HART AND OSIRIS GOING AT IT IN ONE CORNER, OLIVER AND ALEJANDRO CORREA IN THE ADJACENT… AMAREE FINDS HIMSELF IN THE MIDDLE OF THE RING THINKING ABOUT WHAT TO DO… HE COMES CHARGING, LEAPS INTO THE AIR AND CONNECTS WITH A CLOTHESLINE TO THE BACK OF OSIRIS… ESSENTIALLY SQUISHING RANDY HART IN THE PROCESS!!
James Peters: Osiris moves out of the corner as Randy Hart takes a few steps out before dropping to his knees… AMAREE COMES CHARGING TOWARDS HIM LOOKING FOR A SHINING WIZARD… BUT RANDY HART IS ABLE TO DUCK UNDER IT… NOW ROLLING HIM UP FROM BEHIND!!
Ref: ONEEE!!… TWOOO!!… NO!! AMAREE ABLE TO ESCAPE!!
Rich Russillo: And look at the other corner! Alejandro Correa and Oliver are STILL going at it! They’re punching themselves drunk, this is incredible! Especially considering neither man is exactly known for their brawling skills.
James Peters: Correa switches things up here and throws a forearm instead… now he grabs Oliver by the arm, pulling him out of the corner… whipping him now into the ropes, Oliver comes rebounding… AND OH!! HEARTSBANE!! HEARTSBANE BY ALEJANDRO CORREA!! AND HE FALLS RIGHT AT THE FEET OF OSIRIS… WHO HOOKS THE LEG!!
Ref: ONEEE!!… TWOOO!!… THREEE!!
Rich Russillo: THAT’S IT, HE’S OUT!! THAT DIDN’T TAKE LONG, JUST LIKE THAT WE’RE DOWN TO FOUR!!
James Peters: An even number, everyone has their own dancing partner now… Amaree locks up with Osiris, quickly switching behind him… LOOKING TO LIFT HIM UP FOR A GERMAN SUPLEX BUT OSIRIS SENDS A FEW ELBOWS INTO THE TEMPLE OF AMAREE, BLOCKING IT!! AMAREE STUMBLES AWAY… CORREA CHARGES AT HIM… LOOKING FOR HIS SECOND HEARTSBANE OF THE MATCH… BUT AMAREE IS ABLE TO SIDESTEP IT AT THE LAST MOMENT AND CORREA GOES FLYING INTO THE ROPES, TYING HIMSELF UP IN THEM!! Amaree turns around… RIGHT INTO THE HEART ATTACK BY RANDY HART!! IT CONNECTED PERFECTLY!! AMAREE COLLAPSES TO THE CANVAS MOTIONLESS, RANDY HART FOLLOWS HIM INTO THE PIN, DON’T TELL ME WE’RE ABOUT TO BE DOWN TO THREE ALREADY!!
Ref: ONEEE!!… TWOOO!!… THREEEE!! WOW!!
Rich Russillo: AMAREE’S GONE!! LADIES AND GENTLEMEN THIS MATCH JUST STARTED MOMENTS AGO AND WE’RE ALREADY DOWN TO THREE MEN!! OLIVER AND AMAREE ARE GONE, ALEJANDRO CORREA, OSIRIS AND RANDY HART REMAIN!!
James Peters: BUT LOOK AT THE PREDICAMENT THAT ALEJANDRO CORREA IS IN HERE!! TIED UP IN THESE ROPES, RANDY HART AND OSIRIS ARE FREE TO DO WHATEVER THEY WANT FROM HIM!!
Rich Russillo: Uhh–
James Peters: OH RICH FOR FUCKS SAKE GROW UP!! OSIRIS AND RANDY HART EXCHANGE GLANCES… OSIRIS TAKES A FEW STEPS BACK BEFORE HE COMES CHARGING… AND A KNEE RIGHT TO THE FACE!! HART NOW LOADS UP… AND HE DELIVERS THE SECOND HEART ATTACK OF THE MATCH… A SUPERKICK RIGHT TO THE JAW… BUT THE IMPACT TAKES CORREA OVER THE ROPES AND ONTO THE OUTSIDE!! AND NOW OSIRIS FROM BEHIND, LOOKING FOR A BACK SUPLEX ON RANDY HART… HE LIFTS HIM UP… BUT RANDY HART ABLE TO LAND ON HIS FEET… OSIRIS TURNS AROUND… RANDY HART JUMPS BACK, LOOKING FOR A THIRD HEART ATTACK BUT THIS ONE’S CAUGHT… CAUGHT BY OSIRIS… RANDY HART LOOKS TO SWING HIS OTHER FOOT AROUND… BUT OSIRIS DUCKS THAT AS WELL!!… HE PUSHES RANDY HART BACK AND NOW COMES CHARGING… AND HE CONNECTS WITH THE ACCESS DENIED SPINNING LARIAT!!
Rich Russillo: GOOD LORD DID YOU SEE THAT?! RANDY HART JUST GOT HIS BELL RUNG, FLIPPED INSIDE OUT AND LANDING HARD, ALMOST RIGHT ON TOP OF HIS HEAD!!
James Peters: Randy Hart smartly rolls over to the apron, under the ropes and trying to pull himself to his feet. Osiris makes his way over and tries to pull him back into the ring but Randy Hart with a right hand! A second one that pushes Osiris back, staggering him… HART LEAPS UP AND SPRINGBOARDS OFF THE TOP ROPE… LOOKING FOR A CROSSBODY… IT CONNECTS!! AND NOW HE FOLLOWS THROUGH WITH THE COVER!!
Ref: ONEEE!!… TWOOO!!… AND NOO!! KICK OUT BY OSIRIS!!
James Peters: Randy Hart pulls himself into a seated position and scoots himself back into the corner, he holds onto his ribs… OH AND LOOK OUT HERE!! ALEJANDRO CORREA IS BACK IN THE MIX HERE… HE RUNS AT THE CORNER, BLINDSIDING HIM WITH A CRACKING KNEE TO THE JAW… ALEJANDRO PULLS HIM INTO THE CENTER OF THE RING, TRYING TO LOCK IN THE PARACELSUS CROSSFACE!! HE’S GONNA TRY TO GET RANDY HART TO TAP OUT!! CORREA TRAPS THE ARM, TRYING TO EXTEND HIS ARMS OUT AND LOCK THEM ACROSS THE FOREHEAD OF RANDY HART, BUT HART IS FIGHTING BACK… HE’S NOT HAVING ANY OF IT… CRAWLING TOWARDS THE ROPES AND GRABBING ONTO THE ROPES FOR DEAR LIFE, THAT WON’T BREAK THE HOLD, REMEMBER NO DISQUALIFICATIONS IN THIS 5 WAY ELIMINATION MATCH BUT IT MAKES THE LIKELIHOOD OF CORREA LOCKING IN THIS HOLD A NEAR IMPOSSIBILITY!!
Rich Russillo: And Correa smartly gives up on it, good… it was a lost cause. I don’t wanna assume anything here but Osiris has been down for quite a while following that crossbody… he might be playing a bit of opossum…
James Peters: Correa turns his attention to Osiris… AND UH OH!! I THINK YOU MIGHT’VE BEEN RIGHT, RICH!! OSIRIS KICKS OUT THE SHIN OF CORREA… BRINGING HIM DOWN TO HIS KNEES, OSIRIS NOW POPPING TO HIS FEET… AND PLANTING HIM SKULL FIRST WITH A DDT!!… AND NOW OSIRIS GLANCING OVER AT THE TOP ROPE, I THINK HE’S LOOKING FOR AN ELIMINATION OF ALEJANDRO CORREA HERE!! HE STEPS BETWEEN THE ROPES AND BEGINS CLIMBING TO THE TOP!!
Rich Russillo: I wouldn’t do this if I was Osiris! It’s high risk already and when you add the factor of a third man… there’s no telling what can happen!
James Peters: OSIRIS SETS HIMSELF… HE LEAPS OFF LOOKING FOR THE SIMPLE START… BUT CORREA GETS HIS KNEES UP!! CORREA GETS HIS KNEES UP AND SENDS THEM INTO THE SPINE OF OSIRIS!! BUT RANDY HART!! RANDY HART AT THE TOP ROPE AS WELL… HE LEAPS OFF WITH A FROG SPLASH AND IT CONNECTS!! THIS HIGH RISK PAYS OFF, CORREA NEVER SAW IT COMING!! HE HOOKS THE LEG OF ALEJANDRO CORREA!!
Ref: ONEEE!!… TWOOO!!… ANDDD NO!! A KICK OUT!!
James Peters: Randy Hart sits up, balls his fist up and smacks it down against the canvas in obvious frustration… he gets Correa back to his feet… BUT CORREA TAKES HIM DOWN!! CORREA TAKES HIM DOWN AND NO LOOKING FOR THE PARACELSUS CROSSFACE AGAIN… AND THIS TIME HE HAS IT!! IT’S LOCKED IN!! CENTER OF THE RING AND RANDY HART HAS NOWHERE TO GO!! HE FLAILS HIS ARMS OUT TO THE SIDE, HE TRIES BREAKING THE HOLD BUT NOTHING SEEMS TO BE GETTING THE JOB DONE!! CORREA WRENCHES BACK SCREAMING AT HART TO TAP… AND HE DOES!! HE HAS TO!! HART TAPS OUT, WE’RE DOWN TO TWO!!
Rich Russillo: And you can see here as Correa rolls off of Hart, on his back… exhaustion is starting to set in… BUT WAIT… OH WAIT LOOK!!
James Peters: THE SIMPLE START FROM OSIRIS!! THIS TIME IT CONNECTS!! A BRILLIANT MOVE BY OSIRIS!! HE SHOOTS THE HALF, HOOKING THE INSIDE LEG, THIS SHOULD DO IT FOLKS!!
Ref: ONEEE!!… TWOOO!!… THREEEE!!
(DING! DING! DING!)
(“I Fall Apart” hits as Osiris gets to his knees breathing heavily. The referee lifts his arm in victory)
Bella Braxton: Here is your winner… OOOOOSSSSIIIRRRRIIISSS!!
James Peters: WOW!! That was fun!
Rich Russillo: You’re telling me! We had those two eliminations early on in the match but from that point on… boy did it go from 0 to 100 REAL quick. Congratulations to Osiris for the hard fought victory!
(Highlights of Resurgence are aired)
(A previously recorded interview of Xavier Williams plays as he is shown getting the lavalier microphone on his shirt adjusted)
Xavier Williams: Allow me to reintroduce myself, my name is Xavier fookin’ Williams.
(Highlights of Xavier in past federations rising up the ranks in his career and dominating opponents)
Xavier Williams: Most of you probably know me already, but for those of you who don’t? You should know I’m kind’ve a big deal.
(Xavier winning multiple championships throughout his career is shown)
Xavier Williams: Most of the guys in the back know who I am and know what I’m about, but there’s a good segment of those who don’t. My opponent tonight being one of them. What do I have to say about Diotoir? Well the company must be putting faith in him to be something special if they’re putting him in a landmark main event match against a legend in this business, so he has that going for him I guess. It’s just too bad that his first impression is going to be him getting his teeth knocked down his throat. I’ve reached the absolute apex of this business, heights that people grow up dreaming they could one day reach but what they fail to realize is that they don’t possess what I do. I’m no mortal man, mortal men don’t come back from what I have.
(Xavier is shown getting injured, and then it fast forwards to months later with him sitting in the middle of the ring in anguish at the end of a losing effort in what was supposed to be his last match)
Xavier Williams: That’s why there’s no way I’m ever going back to experiencing those lows again.
(Tape is shown of Xavier vigorously training throughout the past 6 months getting into tip top shape and transforming his body)
Xavier Williams: REVOLT! Pro Combat is a clean slate for me and I have every intent to take this place over just as I’ve taken every other place I’ve been in over. Tonight is the restart of what will be nothing short of greatness. REVOLT and I have a mutually beneficial partnership, I bring this company to new heights with my stardom and ferocity in that ring, and REVOLT gives me another platform to show why I’m the best fighter in the world. Phase one begins soon.
(Camera fades back to the ringside commentary table)
James Peters: Ladies and Gentlemen don’t go anywhere because coming up next… it’s the battle of the Ryan’s!
Rich Russillo: Heavyweights collide! Savage. Ransik. Next!
(Commercial break)
(Camera fades to the ring)
(“Bulls on Parade” by Rage Against the Machine hits as Ryan Ransik walks out in hooded attire to the audience’s mostly mixed reaction)
Bella Braxton: The following match is scheduled for ONE FALL! Introducing first, from Baltimore, Maryland, weighing in at 247 pounds… “THE JUDGE” RYANNN RANSIKK!!!!
James Peters: Ryan Ransik, let me tell you, this guy is a force of nature. He’s got genetics that would embarrass lesser men. He may be the strongest guy in Revolt.
Rich Russillo: He looks like he’s on the prowl to prove exactly that.
(“Don’t Get In My Way” by Zack Hemsey hits as Ryan Savage walks out to a louder mixed reaction from the crowd)
Bella Braxton: And his opponent, from Coconut Creek, Florida, weighing in at 255 pounds… “THE HERO KILLER” RYANNNN SAVAGEEEE!!!!
Rich Russillo: Now this is my guy! Say what you want about the strength of Ryan Ransik, but the other Ryan – Savage – is a beast. A bear.
James Peters: It’s definitely going to be a clash of strengths from these two men tonight!
(DING! DING! DING!)
James Peters: The bell sounds and this match is slated to get underway! Ryan Ransik looking totally aloof in the corner, he doesn’t seem concerned about Ryan Savage whatsoever. Savage is gesturing at Ransik to knuckle up and fight up, but still Ransik doesn’t seem to be in a rush. Savage is fed up and charges in at Ransik, but Ransik immediately sticks his head through the ropes, forcing the referee to separate them! Savage backs away away as Ransik gets upright again. Savage charges in again, but this time it’s Ransik reversing and connecting with a hip toss to send Savage back-first into the mat! Savage is fast up to his feet, but Ransik not letting him have any breathing room, Irish whipping him and catching him on the rebound off the ropes with a crushing big boot! Ransik immediately goes into the cover, hooking the leg!
Ref: ONEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!… TWOOOOOOOOOOOO!!…
James Peters: But a kickout by Savage at two!
Rich Russillo: Ryan ain’t going down that easily. This is a guy who I think is going to prove he can weather most storms that he finds himself in.
James Peters: Ransik takes Savage back up to his feet by the head, and Ransik tries to throw Savage face-first into the turnbuckle, but Savage craftily manages to block it with his boot! Savage then takes Ransik by the back of the head and throws him head-first into the turnbuckle, sending Ransik stumbling backward! Savage now positions himself in the corner, launching himself forward! CROSSBODY – NO! SAVAGE COULDN’T GET RANSIK DOWN, AND RANSIK HOW HAS HIM, JUST HOLDING HIM THERE! SAVAGE IS LINGERING IN THE MASSIVE ARMS OF RYAN RANSIK – AND NOW DOWN GOES SAVAGE AS RANSIK PUTS ALL OF HIS BODY WEIGHT DOWN FOR THE FALLAWAY SLAM! RANSIK HOOKS THE LEG!
Ref: ONEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!…. TWO!!!…
James Peters: Savage with the kickout! Ransik is none too pleased with that kickout as he once again forces Ryan Savage back up to his feet. Savage is looking groggy, his eyes are glazed over and he’s going to need to regain his composure to get back in this one. Ransik now demonstrating that herculean strength as he once again hoists Savage up in the air, this time in a powerslam position! RANSIK STARTS RUNNING AND IT LOOKS HE’S GOING TO GO FOR THE CASE DISMISSED! THE RUNNING POWERSLAM!
James Peters: SAVAGE TWIRLS OUT OF IT, PUSHING RANSIK FORWARD AS HE GOES STERNUM-FIRST AGAINST THE CORNER TURNBUCKLES! SAVAGE DEMONSTRATING SOME STRENGTH OF HIS OWN THERE AS HE ABSOLUTELY LAUNCHED RYAN RANSIK INTO THOSE TURNBUCKLES! RANSIK STAGGERS BACKWARD AND HE CAN’T SEE SAVAGE, WHO GRABS A HANDFUL OF TIGHTS FOR THE ROLL-UP PIN!
Ref: ONE!!!!!!…. TWO!!!!!!….
James Peters: But a kickout by Ransik just before the count of three! Ransik immediately rises back to his feet and regains his composure, but Savage with a side forearm to the face of Ransik sends him staggering back against the ropes, Irish whipping him forward and attempting a leveraged clothesline – but Ransik ducks under the clothesline attempt, going for the neckbreaker! SAVAGE TWIRLS OUT OF THE NECKBREAKER, DARTING OFF THE ROPES AND CONNECTING WITH A RUNNING HEADBUTT THAT ONCE AGAIN SENDS RANSIK STAGGERING OFF THE ROPES!
Rich Russillo: Concussion central!
James Peters: Ransik favors his head for just a moment before moving forward as if completely unfazed by the headbutt, and Ryan Savage is in complete shock! Ransik with a punch to the head of Ryan Savage, and Savage exchanges a punch of his own to Ransik! Ransik launches himself forward, streaking toward Savage and spearing him down, connecting with a vicious flurry of punches on the follow-through! BUT SAVAGE TURNS RANSIK OVER SOMEHOW, NOW CONNECTING WITH A FLURRY OF PUNCHES OF HIS OWN BEFORE CONNECTING WITH A PUNISHING FOREARM TO THE SIDE OF RANSIK’S SKULL!
Rich Russillo: It’s a dogfight right now!
James Peters: The referee forces Savage off of Ransik at the risk of disqualification. The referee is checking to see if Ransik can continue the match, and Ransik despite again favoring his head is saying he can go on! The referee asks him once more, and he pushes the ref away, again launching himself into Savage and going for the spear – BUT SAVAGE MANEUVERS IT INTO A SMALL PACKAGE PIN RIGHT AS RANSIK DIVES INTO HIM! SAVAGE TUGS ON THE ROPE WHILE THE REFEREE’S VISION IS OBSCURED!
Ref: ONEEEEEE!!!…. TWO!!!!!…. THRRREEEEEEEEE!!!!!
(DING! DING! DING!)
(“Don’t Get In My Way” by Zack Hemsey blares over the speakers as the referee raises Savage’s arm for a brief moment before he quickly rolls out of the ring, fast-walking up the ramp while Ransik rises to his fit in a fury, grabbing his head and pounding his feet against the mat in frustration)
Bella Braxton: The winner of this match by pinfall… RYANNNN SAVAGEEE!!!!!!
Rich Russillo: Ryan Ransik looked really dominant tonight. He was throwing around a large man like Ryan Savage as if he were nothing. To Savage’s credit he withstood a lot of punishment most men wouldn’t have been able to, even though he grabbed the ropes to make sure he’d get the W.
James Peters: Whatever the case, he walks out the winner in the battle of the Ryan’s.
(Camera transitions to Talib Bari who is shown on the screen to a big pop as he’s pacing around in an office on the phone)
Talib Bari(on the phone): I told you Resurgence and Rebellion was going to set the world on fire, I speak everything into existence! I told you that Middleweight title match announcement was gonna put butt’s in seats, next week’s show is already sold out! And you still doubt me? Don’t ever play yourself! We only make movies over on this side!
(A pause)
Talib Bari(on the phone): Yes that’s true, I need the funding for this event to be on point, you already know the promotion is gonna be A1 because that’s what I do. I make things happen but I don’t make it happen from scratch, we all gotta work as a team, remember that. I’ll probably end up announcing it at some point next week. Oh yeah we definitely gonna shake the world up with this one. I’m still waiting on that one marquee match up to build it around but I got a feeling it’s coming soon. The budget is probably gonna need to be upwards of-
(Suddenly, a loud bang can be heard as Bari’s door is kicked open and he jumps, dropping the phone in shock)
(Aria Jaxon appears on the screen to a thunderous reaction with an absolutely menacing expression on her face as she storms through Talib’s office kicking furniture and tossing the chairs in front of his desk out of the way. She leans over on Talib’s desk and looks directly in his his eyes as he has a frightened expression)
Aria Jaxon: Is this the kind of show you’re running? You put me in the main event, and before I even have a fair chance to fight you let the WHOLE division team up on me and cost me the match?
Talib Bari: Listen I can explain! Just please don’t damage any more furniture those were versace chairs! I had no idea that was gonna happen and I can assure you that I was pissed when I saw that too!
Aria Jaxon: I call bullshit. You’re so angry about it but what are you doing about it? Nothing. You’re sitting your fat ass in the office, running your big ass mouth like you always do, and eating a Crunchwrap Supreme. Obviously the promoter of this company is incompetent and doesn’t know how to treat the actual talent.
Talib Bari: Listen honey, I know you’re upset but we can work this out. You deserve nothing but the best treatment. You’re the biggest star in this whole industry and you came to REVOLT because you believed the vision and we owe you for that. You smart, you loyal, you the best, I appreciate you. They don’t wanna see you takeover another women’s division, they don’t wanna see you become the face of REVOLT, but what did I say about “they” last night? Never listen to “th-
Aria Jaxon: SHUT. THE. HELL. UP. I DIDN’T COME HERE FOR YOUR INSPIRATIONAL SPEECHES. I WANT RESULTS.
Talib Bari: :whoa: Okay okay okay, what would you like?
Aria Jaxon: I want a match with each and every one of those chicks. We can start with a Sienna Jade rematch tonight.
Talib Bari: I don’t even think Sienna is here tonight, and the only females here are the ones booked for a match, which means two. And listen I know you want to go at them as well, but they’ll just team up on you again. Besides, security has been beefed up following last night’s events to prevent something like that from even happening again so your chances of getting payback tonight are slim to none. Mike Silver’s call, not mine.
Aria Jaxon: Then if I can’t let my frustrations out on the women who teamed up on me last night, maybe I should just do it on the closest thing I can find.
(Aria reaches over and grabs Talib by his collar)
Talib Bari: This kinda turns me on.
(Aria cocks her arm back and motions as if she’s about to punch Talib)
Talib Bari: Okay I’m sorry this is what I can do! It’s beyond my control tonight to do anything, but you can get what you want with a little bit of patience. I can give you the floor next week’s Resurgence. You can put them on notice, call them out for a fight, do whatever your heart desires! This way you’re healed from last weeks attack, you have a plan strategically planned out, and you aren’t just going in head first. I know you’re a fighters fighter but it’s always good to have a plan and not let your pride overshadow your sense. That’s the best I can do for you, now PLEASE let go this is a Dolce & Gabbana suit and REVOLT ain’t paying me enough yet to replace it!
(Aria finally lets her grip of Talib go and backs off)
Aria Jaxon: You know what? You’re actually right for once. I’ll plan this out and I’ll get my revenge next week.
Talib Bari: Bless up.
(Aria Jaxon walks out of Talib Bari’s office with a determined look on her face)
(Camera fades to the ring)
(“Off With Her Head” by Icon For Hire hits as Ms. Extreme approaches the ring with a devious smile on her face)
Bella Braxton: The following contest is scheduled for one fall! Making her way to the ring first, from Calabasas, California… MISSSSS EEEEEXXXXXXXTTTTTRRRRRREEEEEMMMMMEEEEE!!
James Peters: And an interesting dynamic here tonight. Ms. Extreme and Nina Sanada, two of the women who dealt the most damage to Aria Jaxon last night… now find themselves as opponents!
(“Heart Shaped Box” by Nirvana hits as Nina Sanada makes her way to the ring)
Bella Braxton: And her opponent, from Osaka, Japan… NINNNNAAAAA SAAANNNNNNAAADDDDAAA!!
Rich Russillo: Yeah, that was last night and this is tonight. What’s done is done, there’s new business to take care of!
(DING! DING! DING!)
James Peters: SANADA RUSHES AT MS. EXTREME WITH A FOREARM AND IT CONNECTS!! IT DOESN’T BRING EXTREME DOWN THOUGH, IT JUST DAZES HER… SANADA LOADS UP FOR ANOTHER ONE… BUT IT’S DUCKED, AND EXTREME GRABS A HOLD OF SANADA’S ARM… AND SHE PULLS HER RIGHT INTO THE RED HERRING!! THE RED HERRING IS LOCKED IN… SANADA IS IN A BAD WAY HERE, EXTREME IS CUTTING OFF THE CIRCULATION TO HER HEAD, SHE’S STRUGGLING TO GET OUT OF IT… SHE DOESN’T HAVE MUCH TIME… SHE TRIES TO REACH THE ROPES… BUT YOU CAN SEE HER RIGHT ARM SLOWLY FALLING… SHE’S LOSING CONSCIOUSNESS… AND NOW THE ARM DROPS TO HER SIDE, SHE ISN’T MOVING, SHE’S OUT!! THAT’S IT!! THE REFEREE CALLS FOR THE BELL WOW!!
(DING! DING! DING!)
(“Off With Her Head” hits as Ms. Extreme releases the hold. Allowing for Sanada’s motionless body to drop to the canvas, she looks down at her and raises her arms in victory)
Bella Braxton: Here is your winner… MISSSSSS EXXXTTRRRREEEEMMMEEE!!
Rich Russillo: I’m telling ya, I say this with NO hyperbole… that might just be the most impressive thing I’ve ever seen! Ms. Extreme locked in that submission and almost immediately knocked Sanada out!
James Peters: For once, I’m with you on that one… mark my words folks, Ms. Extreme WILL be a force to be reckoned with. Aria may want to rethink what she just said to Talib Bari.
(Commercial break)
(Camera fades back inside the arena)
(“We Can Roll” by Bad Rabbits plays through the PA as Alistair Kingsley and Charles Dawson Wenthington, The Wall Street Journal make their way to the stage to boos from the crowd. The two men smile and look each other in the eyes before making their way down to the ring with swagger.)
Bella Braxton: THE FOLLOWING CONTEST IS A TAG TEAM MATCH SCHEDULED FOR ONE FALL! Making their way to the ring! At a combined weight of 418 POOUNDSS!!!…THEY ARE THE TEAM OF ALISTAIR KINGSLEY AND CHARLES DAWSON WENTHINGTON…..THE WALLL STREEET JOOOOOUURRNNAAALLLLLL!!!!!!
James Peters: The hottest tag team on the independent scene of professional wrestling, The Wall Street Journal making their debut as a tag team tonight here on Sunday Night Rebellion! Both of these men debuted at the Terminal 5 Pop-up shows, but tonight is where the entire world will get a chance to see these two in action. While personally, I dislike these two with their attitudes and goals in this business, you cannot deny that both of these men function well as a team, and in that ring they mean business just as their name implies.
Rich Russillo: Really, Peters? Why would you dislike these men? You’re just jealous, of course – they’ve got the money, the fame, the ladies, the abilities and all the booze in the world….oh man, I love the booze.
James Peters: …..right.
(“Hair of The Dog” by Nazareth hits in the arena to viciously loud boos as Nobi makes his way onto the stage, flexing and taunting the crowd before him. He then makes his way to the ring, scoffing and giving middle fingers to fans who boo him.)
Bella Braxton: AND INTRODUCING THEIR OPPONENTS, FIRST! From Indonesia, weighing in at 215 POOUNDSS!!!!….LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, THIS IS NOOOOOOBIIIIIIIII!!!!!!
Rich Russillo: Now this, Peters, this is a man you all should love! He is brash, he is vicious, he is violent and hungry for a victory tonight. I enjoyed his work at the Terminal 5 shows, he showed that he could go toe-to-toe with the best and he earns my respect in that regard.
James Peters: We’ll forget that he tried to cheat to win, of course.
Rich Russillo: Don’t speak.
(“If I Had A Heart” by Fever Ray plays through the speakers to cheers from the crowd as Prince of Phenomenal walks out with his hoodie on, before pulling it up and striking his signature pose for the crowd. He then walks down to the ring, high-fiving fans around him.)
Bella Braxton: AND HIS PARTNER! From South Beach, Florida! Weighing in at 220 POOUNDSSS!!!!…..HE IS THE PRINCE! OF! PHEEENOMMENAAAALLLL!!!!!
James Peters: And you can already tell that the fans love this man! Most know him from his time as a legend, World Champion, Hall of Famer, and tonight POP is arriving to make his debut at REVOLT! I honestly can’t wait to see him in action tonight!
(DING! DING! DING!)
James Peters: The match has now officially began with the start of the bell, as it looks to be Nobi and Alistair Kingsley starting the match off – NOBI IMMEDIATELY CHARGES TOWARDS ALISTAIR! ALISTAIR IS TOO SLOW TO REACT! BOMAYE! BOMAYE! THE RUNNING KNEE STRIKE BY NOBI STRAIGHT INTO THE HEAD OF ALISTAIR TAKING HIM DOWN EARLY, OH MY! CDW IS IN SHOCK BUT HE GETS INTO THE RING AS NOBI PINS ALISTAIR! BUT POP! POP LEAPS FROM THE APRON! SPRINGBOARD FOREARM SMASH BY THE PRINCE OF PHENOMENAL AS NOBI COVERS THE UNCONSCIOUS KINGSLEY FOR THE WIN!
Referee: ONEEE!!… TWOOO!!… THREEEE!!
(DING! DING! DING!)
(“Hair of The Dog” by Nazareth plays as Nobi and POP stand up in the ring, raising each other’s arms up, while CDW and Alistair lie knocked out on the mat.)
Bella Braxton: AND HERE ARE YOUR WINNERS……THE TEAM OF NOBI, AND PRINCE OOOFFF PHEEENOOMENAAALLL!!!!!
Rich Russillo: Well that was easy now, wasn’t it? I’m disappointed in The Wall Street Journal – I thought they would represent people like me tonight by beating their opponents but I suppose I’ve been proved wrong.
James Peters: BUT WAIT!!! NOBI ATTACKS POP!!!!!! HE TAKES POP DOWN AND BEGINS POUNDING ON HIM!!! THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE YOUR PARTNER NEXT WEEK, WHAT ARE YOU DOING? POP HAS BEEN COMPLETELY BLINDSIDED HERE! NOBI STOMPS AWAY AT THE UNRESPONSIVE POP WITH SUCH FEROCITY! HE FINALLY STOPS BUT IT DOESN’T LOOK LIKE HIS WORK IS FINISHED HERE.. HE ROLLS OUT OF THE RING AND GRABS A CHAIR SITTING BY AND THROWS IT INTO THE RING AS HE RE-ENTERS…. AND HE PULLS THE UNCONSCIOUS POP UP AND GOES FOR A GUN STUN RIGHT ON THE CHAIR!!! POP LANDS FACE FIRST! WHAT A TURN OF EVENTS HERE! NOBI LOOKS LIKE A MAN POSSESSED!
(POP lies in the ring broken and motionless as Nobi walks to the back being showered by a crowd of boos, never looking back)
Rich Russillo: Looks like Nobi didn’t forget about the little game POP played with him earlier, and I don’t blame him. But he’s probably going to need a new partner for next week. But wow what a statement! If we see more performances like that from Nobi, then I’m certain we’re seeing a person who will be a star in REVOLT!
Rich Russillo: And speaking of stars, you’re not gonna want to miss our main event for tonight! Xavier Williams taking on Diotoir Doran!
James Peters: But we still have so much more before we get to that! We’ll be back.
(Commercial break)
(The camera fades back into the arena as we see the fans in attendance waiting, until “No One is Untouchable” by Code Orange hits to boos from the crowd as Stone Murdock comes out from the back, eyeing the crowd with disdain before walking down the ring. He then climbs the turnbuckles and raises his arms to more boos.)
Bella Braxton: THE FOLLOWING CONTEST IS SCHEDULED FOR ONE FALL! Introducing first, from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada! Weighing in at 215 POOUNDSSS!!!!……HE IS “THE RED HORSE” STTTOOOOONNEEEE MUUUURRRDDOOOOOOOOCCCKKKK!!!!!
James Peters: Oh man Rich, I honestly can’t wait for the match that’s in store for us right now! A clash between young and old, the man coming into the ring right now, while he may not be universally loved, you cannot deny his skills in that ring. Tonight may be one of the most monumental matches in Stone’s career, and you can bet he does not want to lose his REVOLT television debut, right here on Fox Sports 1.
Rich Russillo: Murdock grew up with a tough childhood. Maybe he should start drinking more, like me.
(“The Coin Has a Say” by Every Time I Die plays as red strobe lights flash in the arena, as smoke starts to fill the stage, before Kieran McGinnis rises up, looking at the crowd before staring at Stone Murdock in the ring. As he gets in the ring, he removes his mask before going to the corner staring a hole into his opponent.)
Bella Braxton: AND INTRODUCING HIS OPPONENT! Residing in Berkerley, California! Weighing in at 213 POOUNDSS!!!!!….HE IS “THE OUTLIER” KIIIEEERAAAAAANNNN MMMCCGHIINNNNIIIIIISSSS!!!!!
Rich Russillo: You know, I’ve never figured out why these “edgy” characters always appear in a professional wrestling ring. Both having had some dark past or an abusive childhood, it’s like there’s some secret group that decides to invade this business, but alas, we know that Kieran was the one who basically started this whole thing. The viral video that brought him and us fame, a REVOLT original who tonight will go up against Stone Murdock in what I’m sure is going to be a great affair.
(DING! DING! DING!)
James Peters: The bell has rung, which means this match has started! You can see already Kieran McGinnis who sits in his corner, slumped down and staring absolute daggers into the soul of Stone Murdock, who doesn’t seem to mind it that much but you can tell that it’s unnerving him in some form. Kieran pulls himself up using the ropes and now looks to meet Murdock in the center of the ring….and they lock up! A collar and elbow tie-up by both men as each one tries to gain the upper hand over the other, but Murdock is the first as he pushes Kieran’s head down into a side headlock! McGinnis however already pushing Stone into the ropes, forcing him to bounce off and go running to the opposite ropes! He comes back and hits Kieran with the shoulder block, but he doesn’t go down! McGinnis pressures Stone for more, taunting him before he goes and comes running back towards Kieran! ANOTHER SHOULDER BLOCK BY STONE, BUT KIERAN STILL STANDS IN THE RING, UNFAZED! He did not look the least bit hurt from that attack from Stone, which is starting to make him frustrated as McGinnis taunts him once more to attack him! Murdock runs back once more – ONLY TO MEET A DEADLY SHOOT KICK BY KIERAN WHICH SENDS MURDOCK DOWN TO THE MAT IN PAIN! What a shot by Kieran, he looks proud of himself while Murdock lies in the corner, grabbing his chest and letting out sharp breaths after that kick! Kieran doesn’t give Murdock a chance to breathe, however, as he grabs him by his hair and lifts him back up to a knee!
James Peters: Kieran goes rebounding off the ropes AND LOOKS FOR A KNEE LIFT TO THE SIDE OF THE HEAD! MURDOCK DODGES IT! Kieran missed the knee as Murdock quickly gets back up and begins to attack McGinnis with stiff rights! Rapid-fire right fists from Murdock, backing McGinnis into the corner, as he attempts to block himself from those vicious strikes! The referee sees now that Murdock isn’t stopping as he now begins to count off Stone!
Referee: ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR!
Rich Russillo: Murdock finally lets go, what a smart tactic! Using all of that referee’s count to inflict pain is definitely a useful strategy in this business, especially since those fists from Murdock didn’t look soft.
James Peters: Murdock lets go of Kieran and puts his hands up, claiming he did nothing wrong as he approaches McGinnis again – KIERAN GRABS MURDOCK AND SWITCHES POSITIONS WITH HIM! Now it’s Kieran on the opposite end as HE BARRAGES THE YOUNG MURDOCK WITH A WHOLE SERIES OF STRIKES! Rights, lefts, kicks, knees! Every possible striking attack in the book is being used by McGinnis right now, all at the rate of a machine gun, what prowess from The Outlier tonight! Kieran however stops the assault before the referee can count him off, as he turns his back towards the stunned stone….going to the corner, turning back….HE CHARGES FORTH! KIERAN RUNS FOR A CORNER DROPKICK TO MURDOCK! NO! STONE RUNS TOWARDS HIS OPPONENT AND COMPLETELY TAKE HIS HEAD OFF WITH A LARIAT!
Rich Russillo: DAMN! He turned McGinnis inside out with that one, what a stiff lariat that would make the oldies proud! He hooks the legs now of McGinnis, I don’t expect this to be it, though.
Referee: ONEEE!!… TWW-
James Peters: Kickout at one by Kieran McGinnis! Trust me, Stone – this man will not stay down with just one move like that! But I think he probably expected him to kickout as he stands back up and looks at McGinnis with nothing but disdain and hatred! I don’t know if that’s the look he always gives but it’s starting to scare me!
Rich Russillo: Hah, pussy.
James Peters: Murdock grabs Kieran and lifts him back up to a vertical base, before hooking his arm! HE LIFTS KIERAN UP THEN DROPS HIM DOWN WITH A SNAP SUPLEX! Kieran writhes in pain after landing on his back as Murdock looks to pin Kieran again, his shoulders are down! BUT KIERAN KICKS OUT ALMOST IMMEDIATELY! Not even a one count! He should’ve guessed, especially considering how much McGinnis has gone through in his professional wrestling career, that a lariat and a suplex will not be enough to put this individual down for the count. Murdock looks almost rageful as he stares at Kieran who’s already starting to recover, getting back up to his feet using the ropes….HE RUNS OFF THE ROPES AND CHARGES AT KIERAN MCGINNIS! KIERAN BACK BODY DROPS STONE MURDOCK, BUT HE MANAGES TO LAND ON THE APRON! Great agility from Stone as Kieran turns and looks to hit him with a forearm! It’s blocked by Murdock, who then pushes Kieran back with a STIFF headbutt! Kieran is stunned once more as Stone grips the top rope and stomps his feet, he’s looking for something here! STONE MURDOCK JUMPS TO THE TOP ROPE THEN LEAPS! SPRINGBOARD HOLY DIVER!
James Peters: KIERAN MCGINNIS EVADES IT EVER SO CLOSELY! He manages to move out of the way of a springboard variation of the diving knee strike, but look at the amazing athleticism from Murdock as he lands on his feet and ROLLS back up! Both men get back up at the same time and CHARGE TOWARDS EACH OTHER! KIERAN PICKS HIM UP IN A FIREMAN’S CARRY POSITION! OH MY! THE SILVER FERN! THE SILVER FERN BY KIERAN MCGINNIS, THAT SWINGING FIREMAN’S CARRY DOUBLE KNEE GUTBUSTER TAKING MURDOCK DOWN AS HIS ABDOMEN LANDS ON TOP OF THE KNEES OF MCGINNIS!! Kieran with his signature move as he falls on top of Murdock and hooks a leg! WILL THIS BE ENOUGH?
Referee: ONEEE!!… TWOOO!!
Rich Russilo: KICKOUT! Wow, even I’m surprised! Those double knees looked brutal and I think Kieran may have thought that was the end as well!
James Peters: I agree, you can see Kieran ruffling his hair with an almost confused expression on his face, wondering how Murdock was able to kickout! This has really been a back and forth contest, people, and there doesn’t seem to be any sign of stopping as of now! Kieran’s face of initial confusion then turns to determination however as he rises back up to his feet and looks at Murdock who’s still shook from The Silver Fern! He walks slowly towards Murdock….THEN BEGINS STOMPING AT HIS LIMBS! Slow, methodical, vicious stomps from The Outlier, garvin-style! He calls this Stompage! He’s stomping at every limb of Murdock, giving him no chance to breathe, before lifting him up and dragging him into the corner! What’s he thinking here? Kieran goes to the opposite corner and taunts the crowd, signalling for something, BEFORE HE CHARGES TOWARDS MURDOCK IN THE CORNER! A RUNNING DOUBLE KNEE STRIKE BY KIERAN MCGINNIS! HE RUNS THEN BOUNCES OFF THE OTHER CORNER AGAIN! ANOTHER DOUBLE KNEE! HE THEN GOES BACK FOR A THIRD TIME! A THIRD DOUBLE KNEE! THOSE WERE THE FIRST THREE KNEES FROM THE SEQUENCE HE NAMES NERVOUS BREAKDOWN, AS MURDOCK SLUMPS DOWN, SEATED IN THE CORNER! MY GOD!
Rich Russillo: You could feel the air escaping his lungs after each knee strike, Murdock must be in pretty bad shape right now!
James Peters: Kieran then goes back to the opposite corner, letting out a battle cry, BEFORE RUNNING TOWARDS HIM FOR THE CANNONBALL TO FINISH THE NERVOUS BREAKDOWN! STONE MURDOCK SITS BACK UP! SNAP OVERHEAD BELLY-TO-BELLY SUPLEX STRAIGHT INTO THE CORNER BY STONE! OH MY GOD! KIERAN WAS SENT FLIPPING INTO THE CORNER WITH A BRUTAL-LOOKING BELLY-TO-BELLY SUPLEX FROM STONE MURDOCK, WHAT A REVERSAL! Murdock manages to turn his fortunes around this match, it almost seems like these two men have been equals thus far! Kieran is crumpled in the corner while Murdock gets back up to his feet and lets out a roar to let the crowd know his opponent is finished! He goes behind McGinnis and grabs him by the wrist! HE’S LOOKING FOR IT! STONE MURDOCK IS LOOKING FOR BAD RELIGION, HE TURNS KIERAN AROUND THEN PULLS HIM IN! BAD RELIGION!
James Peters: KIERAN CATCHES THE LEG?! HE CATCHES IT THEN LIFTS MURDOCK UP! NO WAY! HE’S CAUGHT THE KNEE OF MURDOCK THAT WAS ATTEMPTING BAD RELGION AS HE NOW HAS HIM IN A FISHERMAN POSITION! TUHINGA O MUA! TUHINGA O MUA! NO! MURDOCK MANAGES TO FLIP OUT OF HIS GRASP AND LANDS ON HIS FEET! HE PLACES THE STUNNED KIERAN BETWEEN HIS LEGS, THEN LIFTS HIM UP IN A GORY SPECIAL POSITION! OH MY! LAID TO REST! LAID TO REST! IT CONNECTS FROM STONE MURDOCK!
Rich Russillo: WOW! HE ABSOLUTELY DROVE KIERAN’S HEAD INTO THE MAT, WHAT AN IMPACT! THERE’S NO WAY THIS COULD BE IT, RIGHT?
Referee: ONEEE!!… TWOOO!!… THREEEE!!
(DING! DING! DING!)
(“No One is Untouchable” by Code Orange blasts through the speakers as the crowd boos Stone Murdock who stands up, raising his arms up with a grin on his face.)
Bella Braxton: AND HERE IS YOUR WINNER…..STTOOOONEEEE MUUUURRRDDOOOOCCCKKK!!!!!
Rich Russillo: WOW! JUST WOW! I honestly did not expect Murdock to win tonight, what a performance from the man! Usually I don’t really care about my work but these two just put on a clinic, hell I can’t believe we have a main event still after this!
James Peters: Right! These two went tooth and nail, going back and forth! They countered each other’s moves, especially with that final sequence at the end, and in the end it’s Stone Murdock who picks up a huge victory over Kieran McGinnis on Rebellion! What a match!
(Stone Murdock poses on the turnbuckle, raising his arms, before he steps down then looks at Kieran with disdain. He spits on him before rolling out of the ring much to the dismay of the crowd.)
James Peters: OH COME ON NOW! That’s no way to treat your opponent with respect especially just after a gruelling match! That’s absolutely despicable.
Rich Russillo: HAH! Even after the match, Murdock finds a way to play mind games as he disrespects McGinnis who looks on and smiles! Kieran is slowly starting to come to, realizing what has just happened as he is absolutely looking at Murdock with hatred, I love it! I love controversy, Peters, and I love rivalries and this might have just sparked a brand-new one.
(Camera fades out into a commercial break)

(The camera fades back into the arena where we see Bella Braxton standing in the ring.)
Bella Braxton: The following contest is scheduled for one fall! And it is your REBELLION MAIN EVENT OF THE EVENING!
(The crowd cheers. “What Are You Afraid Of” by The Family Rain then hits as the arena goes pitch black, before a spotlight shines to show Diotoir Doran standing on the ramp, popping his collar up before walking down to the ring. He slides into the ring before getting into an cross-legged sitting position, as the lights come back on.)
Bella Braxton: INTRODUCING FIRST! From Galway, Ireland! Weighing in at 212 POOUNDSS!!!!!….”DEMON HEART” DIIOOTOOOIIRRR DOOOORAAAANNN!!!!
James Peters: IT’S MAIN EVENT TIME, RICH, AND MAN OH MAN, THIS IS A MATCH I CAN’T WAIT! The first-ever Rebellion main event between an upcoming and already proficient star Diotoir Doran going up against a man that many consider to be one of the greatest in the entirety of professional wrestling, Xavier Williams!
Rich Russillo: Seriously though, who the hell calls their child “Diotoir?” It’s like they wanted their kid to never be remembered, but I digressed. From what I saw of this man during the Terminal 5 shows, he is deadly yet precise in that ring, but we’ll find out if his abilities are enough to take down his opponent tonight.
(“New God Flow” by Pusha T feat. Kanye West blasts through the PA to loud cheers from the crowd, as Xavier Williams walks out, wearing a leather jacket with a hoodie as he taunts the crowd and rallies them up. He walks down to the ring and stands on the turnbuckle, laughing and spreading his arms wide.)
Bella Braxton: AND INTRODUCING HIS OPPONENT! From Las Vegas, Nevada! Weighing in at 210 POOUNDSS!!!!…..THIS IS XAAAAAVIIIEEEEERRRR WIILLLIAAAAMMMSSSS!!!!!
James Peters: HERE HE IS, FOLKS! THE ONE AND ONLY, THE MAN HIMSELF, XAVIER WILLIAMS! You can hear from the crowd that they love this man, they recognize his status and what he’s done over the course of his star-studded career, and Xavier is taking that all in! He has talked over the week leading to his debut tonight that he rebuilt himself after we last saw him, and tonight he will make that known! He is making his REVOLT debut tonight, against Diotoir Doran in what promises to be a historic match for the ages!
Rich Russillo: Hmmm….I could’ve sworn Xavier looked a lot bigger the last time I saw him.
(DING! DING! DING!)
James Peters: THE BELL HAS RUNG, AND THIS MATCH HAS BEGUN! Xavier Williams versus Diotoir Doran in the first ever Rebellion main event! The crowd is cheering and clapping in anticipation for the match, as both wrestlers stare each other down! This promises to be an exciting contest, I absolutely cannot wait and so are these fans! Xavier and Diotoir circle the ring for a few moments before getting in ready positions and locking with each other in a collar and elbow tie-up! Both men vying for control here but it seems neither man wants to give! Diotoir the slightly bigger man manages to push Xavier to the ropes while they’re still locked up, meaning the referee has to count! It’s a clean break! Diotoir backs off from Xavier as the crowd claps, before they lock up once more! This time it’s Xavier who pushes Diotoir….before shifting himself and going behind for a waistlock! Standing switch by Doran! Xavier escapes by grabbing the right arm of Diotoir and twisting it! Diotoir however with great athleticism as he does a combat roll, moving himself around so he goes behind Williams with a hammerlock!
James Peters: Xavier is the first to swing with a back elbow to his jaw! It’s ducked by Diotoir as he turns himself around, and now Xavier has his head in a facelock! Doran pushes Xavier into the ropes, sending him off! Xavier bounces back BUT DIOTOIR WITH AMAZING AGILITY AS HE LEAPFROGS OVER THE RUNNING XAVIER WILLIAMS! Williams still comes back though and this time Diotoir drops down onto his belly while Xavier leaps over him, running back once more! XAVIER GOES FOR A CLOTHESLINE! IT’S DUCKED BY DIOTOIR WHO ROLLS BEHIND HIS OPPONENT! Xavier turns around TO MEET DORAN WHO LEAPS UP AND ATTEMPTS AN ENZIGURI! IT’S DUCKED BY XAVIER! Diotoir lands flat on his belly once more but he slowly tries to get back up, he’s on his knees now! XAVIER STEPS TOWARDS THE KNEELING DORAN! KING’S FALL – NO! DIOTOIR SIDESTEPS THE SUPERKICK THEN GOES IN BETWEEN XAVIER’S LEGS AND PULLS HIM DOWN FOR A SCHOOLBOY PIN!
Rich Russillo: Impressive agility from both men, the shoulders are down!
Referee: ONEEE!!…
James Peters: KICKOUT BY XAVIER WILLIAMS AS HE ROLLS BACKWARDS AND ONTO HIS FEET! WHAT A SEQUENCE OF TECHNICAL AND AMAZING RING PROWESS! Xavier looks almost astonished that Diotoir was able to keep up with him, while Doran continues to eye Williams with that same cold, fiery determination in his eyes! The crowd is clapping for that sequence from both men, and you can see Xavier with that smug grin, looking almost happy that Doran matched him in terms of agility. The two then rise back up to their feet, circling each other again before meeting up in the center again! Diotoir raises his arm, offering a test of strength, which Xavier accepts – OR NOT! HE PULLS DIOTOIR WITH THAT ARM AND HITS HIM WITH A EUROPEAN UPPERCUT TO THE JAW!
Rich Russillo: Xavier is done with the technicality, he’s ready to get to work and he caught Doran off-guard with that uppercut strike!
James Peters: He’s sent reeling back to the ropes as Xavier walks closer towards him, THEN BEGINS TO HIT HIM WITH THOSE MMA-LIKE STRIKES! RIGHT HOOKS, FISTS, BRUTAL SHOTS FROM XAVIER WILLIAMS! He told the Fight Grid in an interview that prior to coming to REVOLT, he stuck to a more MMA based training schedule and that he would focus on striking; you can see here tonight that that fruit it being harvested, and it’s punching the daylights out of Diotoir Doran! He’s trying to block it up but those stiff strikes seem to be too much! Williams however stops this assault, apparently looking to take a breather, before RUNNING TOWARDS DIOTOIR AGAIN! ENZIGURI BY DIOTOIR! This time, it connects!
Rich Russillo: Damn, the sound of that foot colliding with his cheek could be heard even from the local bar I go to whenever I’m down!
James Peters: Xavier is stunned in the middle of the ring, giving a window of opportunity for Doran to strike, as he grabs Williams and begins to attack him with forearms and rights of his own! They seem to be doing the needed effect as Xavier blocks most of them….BEFORE HITTING XAVIER IN THE CHEST WITH A STIFF PUSH KICK THAT SENDS HIM INTO THE ROPES! BUT THAT MAY HAVE ONLY FUELED XAVIER AS HE USES THAT MOMENTUM TO COME CHARGING TOWARDS DIOTOIR WITH ANOTHER CLOTHESLINE ATTEMPT! IT’S DUCKED ONCE MORE! Doran dodges the clothesline from Xavier yet again, BUT HE HOOKS THE ARMS OF HIS OPPONENT FROM BEHIND! DIOTOIR IS LOOKING FOR THE TIGER SUPLEX! TIGER SUPLEX BY DIOTOIR! NO! XAVIER FLIPS OUT OF IT AND LANDS ON HIS FEET! Williams managing to land safely on his feet, great agility from Xavier who takes this chance to recover slightly! But Diotoir is already rising to his feet, and Williams notices this AS HE CHARGES TOWARDS HIS ADVERSARY! DEAR GOD! A BRUTAL RUNNING KNEE SMASH STRAIGHT INTO THE FACE OF DORAN WHO WAS GETTING BACK UP TO HIS FEET!
Rich Russillo: I swear, that literally ECHOED throughout the building tonight! The fans are “oohhiing” after that move and so am I! And with that, Xavier Williams takes control of this match with a brutal running knee strike to the jaw of Diotoir Doran! He looks almost knocked out cold from that knee strike, my word! I’m not even sure he’s getting up after that!
James Peters: Xavier is now breathing hard, he may have expected an easy victory against this man but as we are starting to see, Diotoir isn’t going down without a fight! Both men are sweating profusely already but Williams is going to take some time to wear his opponent down now, as he grabs the left leg of Doran, lifting it up, BEFORE SMASHING IT ONTO THE GROUND! DAMN! He’s in pain after that one, but I don’t think Xavier is done as he grabs that same leg once more, putting it in between his arm and armpit, DRIVING IT DOWN WITH A LEG DDT! Doran shot up to a seated position after feeling that, I’m sure that did not taste well for him! PENALTY KICK! XAVIER WILLIAMS QUICKLY KNOCKING DIOTOIR BACK DOWN WITH A PENALTY KICK ACROSS THE CHEST! That’s that striking from his MMA style training coming into play, and Xavier is in complete control now of “Demon Heart!” Williams grabs that same left leg….AND LOCKS IN A KNEEBAR! A KNEEBAR SUBMISSION HOLD BY XAVIER, PULLING AWAY AT THAT ALREADY HURT LEFT LEG OF DIOTOIR! I think the pained expression on his face says it all – The King is in town and he’s won’t stop until he finishes what he set out to do, and that’s beat Diotoir Doran!
Rich Russillo: Just look at the way he’s pulling at that knee! That’s good form and I’ve seen a couple of MMA fighters use that move, they damn near broke their opponent’s knee joint off of its socket!
James Peters: Maybe Diotoir has seen some of those fights too, because now he’s starting to slightly panic, scrambling to find a way to get out! He’s moving around but Xavier just has that hold locked in tight! However, I think Doran is already trying inching closer to that bottom rope, he’s finger tips away….AND HE REACHES IT! XAVIER IS FORCED TO LET GO OF THE SUBMISSION HOLD BECAUSE OF THE ROPE BREAK, BUT I FEAR THE DAMAGE TO THAT LEG MAY ALREADY BE DONE! You can still see Doran grab his knee and hold it, trying to ease the pain while Xavier stands up and knows that his plan worked! He targeted a specific limb and by doing so he may have done enough damage to hinder Diotoir from competing fully in this match! This is William’s chance, he grabs Doran by the waist from behind….AND DEADLIFTS HIM UP! WHAT UNCANNY STRENGTH FROM XAVIER WILLIAMS, HE’S LOOKING TO HIT A DEADLIFT HIGH-ANGLE GERMAN SUPLEX – DIOTOIR REVERSES IT INTO A VICTORY ROLL!
Referee: ONEEE!!… TWOOO!!…THRRR—
James Peters: XAVIER KICKS OUT BUT THAT WAS A NEARFALL! Diotoir almost pulled an upset victory over there with that surprise victory roll, as both men rush to their feet! You can see the pain on Doran’s face as he has to use that leg, BUT THEY BOTH CHARGE TOWARDS EACH OTHER! DIOTOIR HITS FIRST WITH A KICK TO THE MIDSECTION USING HIS GOOD RIGHT LEG! A SHOOT KICK! A KNEE TO THE GUT! Diotoir is going crazy with these strikes, I believe he’s going for what he calls the Pantheon with this combination of knee and kick strikes! HE CONNECTS WITH A SUPERKICK TO THE KNEE OF XAVIER, DROPPING HIM DOWN TO ONE KNEE! Diotoir uses that right leg AND BRINGS IT DOWN! A SWITCHBLADE KICK TO FINISH IT OFF, THE PANTHEON STRIKE COMBINATION IS COMPLETE AND XAVIER IS DOWN ON THE MAT!
Rich Russillo: Those strikes reminded me of Japan! Stiff knees and kicks from Doran might have just been enough to keep Williams at bay.
James Peters: Diotoir is in pain, but he won’t let that stop him! He’s fighting through as he lets out a battle roar that the crowd reacts with cheers! He lifts up the downed Williams by his head and places him between his legs! HE HOOKS THE ARMS! DIOTOIR IS GOING FOR THE DYNASTY FALLS! DYNASTY FALLS! XAVIER WILLIAMS REVERSES IT INTO A HURRICANRANA THAT SENDS DIOTOIR DOWN TO THE MAT! WHAT A COUNTER BY XAVIER WILLIAMS! But neither man stays down as they both quickly rush back to their feet, with Diotoir once again charging at Xavier – END OF THE WORLD! END OF THE WORLD BY XAVIER WILLIAMS CONNECTS! THAT SPINNING HEEL KICK TO THE SIDE OF THE JAW AND DIOTOIR LOOKS OUT! HE IS DONE! XAVIER JUMPS ON TOP OF DORAN FOR THE PIN, AND THE WIN!
Referee: ONEEE!!… TWOOO!!… THREEEE!!
(DING! DING! DING!)
(“New God Flow” by Pusha T feat. Kanye West plays in the arena as Xavier Williams stands up in the ring, sweating but elated as his arms are raised while Diotoir lies on the mat, unmoving.)
Bella Braxton: AND HERE IS YOUR WINNER……XAAAAVVIIEEEEERRR WIIIILLIAAAAAAAMMSSS!!!!!
James Peters: XAVIER WILLIAMS WINS THE FIRST EVER REBELLION MAIN EVENT MATCH, BEATING DIOTOIR DORAN WITH HIS END OF THE WORLD SPINNING KICK TO FINISH HIM OFF! This match was back and forth from start to finish! Both men seemed to have an answer to whatever the other was saying, and Diotoir managed to keep up with Williams up until the last few minutes where he targeted that left leg of his, preventing him from doing anything more!
Rich Russillo: I’m honestly impressed with Diotoir tonight – the kid’s got a future, I’ll tell you that, but in the end it’s Xavier Williams who stands tall after the dust settles, proving that this rebuilt version of himself can stand tall! Neither man should be down, they both did great in my eyes and it was a great match to top off a great show.
