EAW.com has received numerous updates regarding Mr. DEDEDE’s heath due to an injury he received this past Saturday on Showdown. We can now confirm DEDEDE is undergoing an emergency medical procedure on his injured right knee, adhering to the advice from leading EAW physicians.
The extent of the injury hasn’t yet been released, but it is understood that the injury took place during DDD’s match against Daryl Kinkade on this recent edition of Showdown. When approached by Kinkade’s partner, Charlie Marr, DDD delivered a spear and was unable to get up following an apparent tweaking of the knee.

We can confirm that a leading EAW doctor has completed a scope of Mr. DEDEDE’s knee to repair torn cartilage. While there is no timetable set on recovery, the EAW Tag Team Champion underwent a fairly routine, minimally-invasive surgery and is currently in crutches. EAW has not released an official statement regarding his ability to defend the tag team titles with his partner, Cameron Ella Ava, however his Pain for Pride status has been deemed ‘questionable’.
We have not received a comment from Mr. DEDEDE’s camp at this time, however he is expected to attend Showdown this week as it takes place in the Wells Fargo Center. We will provide more information when it is made available.
