Mia Santoro
This week’s Rising Star of the Week is Mia Santoro! On Voltage, Mia competed in a match against the Hardcore Champion, TLA! This was a big opportunity for Mia but also a great challenge, as TLA is undoubtedly one of the very best. In the end however Mia was able to pull off a surprising victory, as a distraction from Donovan Duke allowed her to defeat TLA. This was a major upset victory that absolutely gave Mia momentum heading towards Wicked Games, and showcased just how bright of a future Mia may have ahead of her. Congratulations to Mia Santoro!
Beef of the Week
POTARA vs Andre Walker & Ronan Malosi
The Beef of the Week for this week was the tag team match between POTARA and the team of Andre Walker and Ronan Malosi! This turned out to be a really good back and forth, with POTARA looking to pick up one more victory heading into their title defense against the Jaded Hearts, and Andre and Ronan looking to shut them down ahead of their respective matches against Jake Smith and Cy Henderson at House of Glass. This match really brought the best out of these four Elitists as their promos throughout the week were all great, making for an exciting main event match.
Show of the Week
Dynasty
This week’s Show of the Week was Dynasty! Dynasty this week had so much to offer, featuring an appearance from Andrea Valentine with the Specialists Championship match competitors, matches such as Theron Nikolas versus Xander Payne, Jake Smith versus Drake Armstrong, and the tag team main event match! This show was the final show before House of Glass, and with that in mind Dynasty did a lot to finish building towards the final Dynasty marquee event of the year. This was an excellent show from start to finish, and helped make House of Glass an event to look forward to with amazing matches, and moments that showcased just how prepared everyone was heading into it.
Match of the Week
Mia Santoro vs TLA
The Match of the Week for this week was the match between the Hardcore Champion TLA, and Mia Santoro! Mia Santoro is a rising star on Voltage while TLA is a veteran and Hall of Famer, and in the end this match turned out to be a really good showcase of what both Elitists are capable of! Mia and TLA both brought their best to this match, and things took a very surprising turn when Donovan Duke made an appearance, distracting the Hardcore Champion ahead of their Wicked Games match! In the end this turned out to be a really great match which both Elitists could definitely be proud of.
Promoer of the Week
Champagne Charlie
This week’s Promoer of the Week was Champagne Charlie! On Voltage, Charlie was up against Valerie Hellstorm. This may be one of Champagne Charlie’s final EAW matches, but in the end he still managed to put out some very entertaining promos throughout the week. He and Valerie had a good back and forth, and with Charlie being a Hall of Famer he used his experience to his advantage. Charlie this week once again showcased exactly why he’s been able to make a name for himself as one of the more polarizing members of the roster, as there is nobody quite like Champagne Charlie.
Champion of the Week
Hans Grayson
The Champion of the Week for this week was the New Breed Champion, Hans Grayson! Hans Grayson this week competed on Dynasty, facing a rising star in BRAE ahead of his New Breed Championship match at House of Glass. In the end Hans was able to defeat BRAE, and with this win he picked up momentum heading into a major match against Michael Machina and Drake Armstrong! Hans Grayson left Dynasty with a good victory under his belt, and with the run he’s been on, he’s sure to have a fantastic match at House of Glass. Congratulations to the New Breed Champion!
Most Valuable Elitist
Andre Walker & Ronan Malosi
The Most Valuable Elitists for this week are Andre Walker and Ronan Malosi! On Dynasty, Andre and Ronan teamed up in the main event match for the night, facing the Unified Tag Team Champions POTARA. In the end Andre and Ronan would be the first to defeat them in a tag team match, breaking their streak ahead of House of Glass. While this match featured an interference from the Jaded Hearts, this was still a major victory following a very competitive match. After defeating Champions and ending a streak, both Andre and Ronan have gained tons of momentum heading into the event!
