Drake Armstrong
The Rising Star of the Week for this week is Drake Armstrong! Drake Armstrong competed on Dynasty this week, and on Dynasty he teamed up with Milli Banks to take on Rory Slate and Michael Machina! This was a pretty important match for Drake following his actions at Territorial Invasion, and in the end he and Milli were able to pick up the victory, costing Michael Machina another victory. Drake Armstrong has been rising up the ranks throughout his time on Dynasty, and a win like this was an amazing way to keep building momentum. Congratulations to Drake Armstrong!
Beef of the Week
Caroline vs Kasai
This week’s Beef of the Week was the match between Caroline and Kasai! This was a round one match for the Iconic Cup tournament, and thanks to there being so much on the line, both Elitists brought their best to this match. Kasai is coming off of a big win at Territorial Invasion and is looking to keep up her momentum, but Caroline has also proven herself as a threat and entered this tournament as one of the Elitists to watch out for. In the end this turned out to be a great week of promos, with both Elitists making this an exciting match heading into round one of the Iconic Cup tournament!
Show of the Week
Dynasty
The Show of the Week for this week was Dynasty! Dynasty was a huge show this week, featuring some huge matches including multiple Iconic Cup round one matches, and a New Breed Championship match! This show would also see Cy Henderson return to Dynasty, as well as some controversy regarding the Brand Warfare participants as only very few members were rewarded for their victory. This show was very exciting from start to finish, filled with both high stakes matches and shocking moments.
Match of the Week
Drake King vs TLA
This week’s Match of the Week was the main event of Voltage, which was a Champion versus Champion match between TLA and Drake King! These two have a lot of history with each other thanks to their matches over the years, and on Voltage the Hardcore Champion and EAW Champion once again had the opportunity to go one on one. This resulted in another great match between the two, which once again showcased just how amazing both Elitists are. In the end the match would not have a clear winner, but both Elitists made for a fantastic match to close out Voltage.
Promoer of the Week
Milli Banks & Drake Armstrong
The Promoers of the Week for this week are both Milli Banks and Drake Armstrong! On Dynasty these two teamed up against Rory Slate and Michael Machina. While this was a very unexpected team, both Milli and Drake brought their best to this match and ultimately made this match a great week of promos. While Milli and Drake may not be the best of friends and are very different from each other, their promos this week showcased what they were willing to do for the sake of picking up the victory. Both Elitists are extremely talented and in their own ways have risen up the ranks, and this week once again showcased how good they are.
Champion of the Week
Hans Grayson
This week’s Champion of the Week is the New Breed Champion, Hans Grayson! On Dynasty, Hans Grayson would defend his New Breed Championship just one week after Territorial Invasion! This would be in a match against rising star Mattias Burke, and ultimately Hans would retain his Championship, allowing him to leave Dynasty with his title and another successful defense. Hans Grayson has been a fantastic New Breed Champion so far and has absolutely shown out throughout his time as Champion. This was another great week for Hans, so congratulations!
Most Valuable Elitist
Jon Kelton
The Most Valuable Elitist for this week is Jon Kelton! On Showdown, Jon Kelton competed in a major tag team match which saw Devolution face off against both the Answers World Champion and the Cash in the Vault briefcase holder. Given what the opponents have accomplished this was absolutely a big challenge, but ultimately Devolution was able to pick up the victory. While there may have been controversy involved, this was still a very significant win for the National Elite Champion heading towards The Last Stand. Congratulations to Jon Kelton!
