Most Valuable Elitist #368

Rising Star of the Week

Rory Slate

This week’s Rising Star of the Week was Rory Slate! On Voltage, Rory competed in a triple threat that’d decide her fate at Pain for Pride as she fought for a shot at the 24/7 Battle Royale. Her opponents in this match were Tanner Black and Madison Hansen, but after things reached a point where a count needed to be made, Rory Slate was able to make it in the ring and pick up the countout victory. This was huge, as it meant that she’d be entering the 24/7 Battle Royale, and competing at her very first Pain for Pride. Congratulations to Rory Slate!

Beef of the Week

Delilah Rose, Valerie Hellstorm & Bea Valentine vs PJ Hendrx, Shane Gates, & Jay Jerry Johnson

The Beef of the Week this week was the trios tag team match between the team of Delilah Rose, Valerie Hellstorm and Bea Valentine, and PJ Hendrx, Jay Jerry Johnson and Shane Gates. Despite these two not being the usual teams and working together in a match that had a huge chance of blowing up, they all managed to produce a very good back and forth throughout the week, making this a very exciting match between the two teams. These six Elitists definitely showed out, and they should definitely be proud of their great performances this week.

Show of the Week

Voltage: Beach Brawl

This week’s Show of the Week was Voltage’s Beach Brawl event! This show was unique, as it took place on the beach as the title suggests. The show’s quality managed to remain amazing with this change in scenery, resulting in a very great show. There were some huge surprises here such as Hikari Kanno’s reveal that TLA has a son, Ronan Malosi and Eden Sinclair are revealed to be a couple and more, but on top of this some fantastic matches took place. The Shrimp Boat Deathmatch really delivered, the EAW World Champion Drake King took on ARIA in a great match, and Methuselah’s match against Usagi Senshi in the main event was fantastic. All in all, this was such a great show for Voltage!

Match of the Week

Mercer McKay vs Korey Gaines

This week’s Match of the Week was the match between Mercer McKay and Korey Gaines! This wasn’t just any match. This was a Shrimp Boat Deathmatch, which was a very unique stipulation that created a very special match between these two enemies. This environment made Korey and Mercer’s fight even more chaotic and at times brutal, and above all else it was extremely entertaining and a really great way to settle things between these two. This match lived up to the name, and both Elitists should be proud of the fight they brought to it.

Promoer of the Week

Methuselah

This week’s Promoer of the Week was none other than Methuselah! Methuselah is one of, if not the greatest of all time, and every single time he competes he further proves this fact. This week was no exception as he went up against Usagi Senshi, an opponent who he technically faced in the past in tag team competition. In this match he stuck to his beliefs from before, standing on everything he said to Usagi in the past rather than taking back his words. Methuselah is unlike everyone else and has a very unique way of words, and this week was yet another amazing week from him.

Champion of the Week

Drake King

This week’s Champion of the Week is the EAW World Champion, Drake King! On Voltage, Drake competed in a match against former Specialists Champion ARIA. Drake would defeat ARIA to win his first match as Champion, but that’s far from the only thing he did that night. His future Pain for Pride opponent Methuselah would defeat Usagi Senshi later on in the night, and Drake would use this as an opportunity to seek revenge following the events of Fighting Spirit. He attacked Methuselah, ending the night standing tall!

Most Valuable Elitist

Visual Prophet & Scott Diamond

This week’s Most Valuable Elitists are the two Elitists that teamed up for Dynasty’s main event, Scott Diamond and the Visual Prophet! This is clearly an unlikely partnership given recent events, but on Dynasty they took on the team of Myles and the World Heavyweight Champion, Limmy Monaghan. This match would take a very hectic turn thanks to the way things have developed between the members of both teams, but in the end it was the team of Scott and Viz that managed to leave Dynasty with the victory, winning against Dynasty’s World Champion!
