Rising Star of the Week
Valerie Hellstorm & Kasai
This week there are two Rising Stars of the Week, and those Elitists are the two that faced each other this week on Voltage, Valerie Hellstorm and Kasai! Despite the fact that these two are so early in their careers, Valerie and Kasai had a great back and forth during the week, which was followed by a great match that was so competitive that in the end there was never a definitive winner. Instead the two would fight to a double countout, just showing how much they were bringing to the table. Valerie and Kasai undoubtedly have bright futures, and showed everyone this with their excellent performances this week.
Beef of the Week
Caroline vs Jamie Cross
This week’s Beef of the Week was the New Breed Championship match at Super Dynasty, Caroline versus Jamie Cross! This week, Caroline and Jamie had an excellent week of promos, which were focused on both the upcoming New Breed Championship match and about Jamie Cross’ attitude as an Elitist and whether or not it’ll actually benefit her or serve as a detriment. This was a really great week of promos from the two, and it just goes to show how different these two are at this point in their careers. Jamie Cross has been an impressive newcomer and Caroline has been a great New Breed Champion. This match proved just how talented they are.
Show of the Week
Super Dynasty
This week’s Show of the Week was Super Dynasty! This was a very eventful show, as it featured three separate Championship matches! The Interwire, Specialists, and New Breed Championships were all on the line, but that’s not all that happened. As well as this, matches were held to qualify for the Unified Tag Team Championship match at Pain for Pride, and in the main event of the show, the Visual Prophet would surprisingly be confronted by Scott Diamond! With all this show did building up to both Pain for Pride and Fighting Spirit, it’s undeniable that Dynasty this week was fantastic!
Match of the Week
Yhwach O’Hara, Minerva & TLA vs Methuselah, Drake King & Myles
The Match of the Week for this week was the main event of Voltage, which was the match between the team of Yhwach O’Hara, Minerva and TLA and the team of Myles, Methuselah and Drake King! This was a huge match to main event Voltage, as this match featured six of the very best Elitists in the entire company! Everyone in this match is a former World Champion, including the current EAW World Champion Myles. That, along with the history multiple Elitists have with each other here and the fact that Myles and Minerva were on opposing sides, made for a thrilling match that was definitely worthy of closing out Voltage!
Promoer of the Week
Jon Kelton
This week’s Promoer of the Week was Jon Kelton! Jon Kelton competed on Showdown in a match against Ryan Wilson, and this was a match that has some history behind it, as Jon Kelton as part of Devolution has been against Ryan Wilson’s own team Dominion for some time now. This resulted in a great week of promos this week, as Jon Kelton looked to continue sending a message just as he believes Devolution did back at Grand Rampage. Jon Kelton managed to pick up the victory in his match against Ryan Wilson, and while his performance inside of the ring was great, so was his work before Saturday night Showdown!
Champion of the Week
Milli Banks
The Champion of the Week for this week is the Specialists Champion, Milli Banks! Milli Banks became the Specialists Champion back at Grand Rampage, and this week on Super Dynasty she already had her very first Championship defense as she went up against Ashlynn Quinn! In the end Milli was able to retain her title, which is very impressive given how early on she had to defend it. Milli Banks has had a great season so far and has already proven to be an impressive Champion. In the end Ashlynn couldn’t defeat her, and now Milli already has her next challenger in her sights!
Most Valuable Elitist
Yhwach O’Hara, Minerva & TLA
This week’s Most Valuable Elitists are Yhwach O’Hara, Minerva and TLA! These three Elitists teamed up in the main event of Dynasty, competing in a match against the EAW World Champion Myles, his Fighting Spirit opponent Drake King, and Methuselah! This was a huge match for the main event of Voltage, and in the end this unlikely team featuring some of EAW’s very best managed to pick up the victory just one week before Fighting Spirit! This was already a great main event for Voltage, and in the end this turned out to be a successful night for these three Elitists. Congratulations to TLA, Minerva and Yhwach O’Hara!
