Rising Star of the Week

PJ Hendrx

This week’s Rising Star of the Week is PJ Hendrx! On Dynasty, PJ competed in the quarterfinals of the King of Elite tournament as he took on Jay Jerry Johnson for the chance to move on to the semifinals! In the end this turned out to be an extremely competitive match as both Elitists brought their very best to the table. This match definitely showcased what both Elitists could do as they both came very close, but in the end PJ would be the one to move on to the semifinals, giving him a great chance to potentially make it to the finals of the tournament within his first year in EAW! Congratulations to PJ, who has had a fantastic run in this tournament!

Beef of the Week

PJ Hendrx vs Jay Jerry Johnson

The Beef of the Week for this week was the King of Elite quarterfinals match between PJ Hendrx and Jay Jerry Johnson! These two had an amazing week of promos. Knowing what’s on the line they were bound to give their all, but they absolutely exceeded expectations this week with tons of great promos used to declare victory in this round of the tournament. Both Jay and PJ are looking for their first Championships in EAW, and with this King of Elite tournament this was a chance for that first title to be a World Championship. Knowing that, there’s no doubt that both men delivered this week.

Show of the Week

Dynasty

This week’s Show of the Week was Dynasty! Dynasty was a very important show this week as it not only determined the semifinals of Dynasty’s King of Elite bracket, but it also revealed what the finals of the Empress of Elite tournament would be! All four matches involved were fantastic, and these weren’t the only great matches as Soul Food Sunday teamed up against Limmy Monaghan and Maxwell, former members of Insurgency, in the main event! The show would even kick off in surprising faction with the very shocking reveal of what Sienna Jade did to Dr. Bethany Blue’s father, and seeing how the show followed such a surprising opening, Dynasty was definitely an exciting show this week!

Match of the Week

Drake King vs Theron Nikolas

This week’s Match of the Week was the Voltage main event match, which was a King of Elite quarterfinals match between Theron Nikolas and Drake King! This was a great match between the two as both Elitists looked to advance to the semifinals, but this match was also filled with controversy thanks to the way that it ended. This match would see the return of Yhwach O’Hara after last appearing at Road to Redemption, making an already amazing match end in very surprising fashion. Despite the way it ended both Elitists had a very great showing in this match, which isn’t a surprise as both competitors are former World Champions and have accomplished tons in EAW.

Champion of the Week

Soul Food Sunday (The Visual Prophet & SOSA Henderson)

This week’s Champions of the Week are the Unified Tag Team Champions, Soul Food Sunday! On Dynasty, the Visual Prophet and SOSA Henderson faced off against Maxwell and the World Heavyweight Champion, Limmy Monaghan. A match against another Champion is always a big deal, but both members of Soul Food Sunday also had history with Limmy this season. In the end Maxwell would leave Limmy to fight on his own, and thanks to this Soul Food Sunday would pick up a significant victory in Dynasty’s main event match! Congratulations to the Unified Tag Team Champions, who once again showcased just how great of a team they are!

Most Valuable Elitist

Alex Myers

The Most Valuable Elitist this week was Alex Myers! On Showdown Alex competed in a King of Elite first round match, but they didn’t have an easy opponent. That opponent was none other than Hall of Famer and former World Champion Xander Payne. Thanks to that Alex had a huge challenge on their hands, but Alex was still able to pull off the victory with an amazing performance, allowing them to advance to the second round! This match had a bit of controversy thanks to the appearance of the Ice Aces, but ultimately Alex Myers managed to pick up one of the biggest wins of their career, something they should definitely be proud of. Congratulations to Alex Myers!
