Rising Star of the Week
Johnny Andrews
The Rising Star of the Week for this week is Johnny Andrews! While he didn’t win the World Heavyweight Championship Extreme Elimination Chamber, Johnny Andrews had a fantastic performance. Johnny was in a match full of former World Champions, and not only did he have a great performance, but he even eliminated the winner of last year’s Answers World Championship Extreme Elimination Chamber, Jack Ripley! This was a fantastic showing by Johnny Andrews, who absolutely proved just how talented he is in such a big match.
Beef of the Week
Kassidy Heart vs Theron Nikolas vs Charlie Marr vs TLA vs Impact vs Adam Lucas
The Beef of the Week for this week goes to the very competitive Extreme Elimination Chamber for Showdown’s Answers World Championship! This was a match where everyone involved knew each other very well, and every single challenger had already faced the Champion, Kassidy Heart, just this season. There were tons of great promos coming from this match throughout the week, which definitely isn’t a surprise seeing how personal this Extreme Elimination Chamber was for many of the competitors, and seeing just how much amazing talent was involved.
Show of the Week
Road to Redemption
Road to Redemption was this week’s Show of the Week, which shouldn’t come as a surprise. Road to Redemption was an amazing show from start to finish, with amazing matches from the first match on the card to the last. Every single Extreme Elimination Chamber delivered, as did every other match on the card such as Dr. Bethany Blue versus Andrea Valentine, Miku Sakai versus Harper Lee, Jon Kelton versus Jay Jerry Johnson and more. This was an amazing way to help close 2021, and with the year coming to an end, this may have been one of the best shows of the entire year.
Match of the Week
Drake King vs Minerva vs Ryan Wilson vs Justin Windgate vs Jake Smith vs Chris Elite
This week’s Match of the Week is the Extreme Elimination Chamber for the EAW Championship! With Drake King and Minerva working together throughout the majority of the match this was bound to be interesting, and in the end all six Elitists put on such a good match, one that ended with possibly the biggest surprise of the entire night, as Drake King would turn his back on Minerva and attack her to put an end to the match, even after everyone else was eliminated. This was an incredible match with a shocking ending, and in the end this proved to be an amazing way to end Road to Redemption.
Promoer of the Week
Kassidy Heart
This week’s Promoer of the Week is the Answers World Champion, Kassidy Heart! This week Kassidy had possibly her biggest challenge yet as Answers World Champion as she competed in an Extreme Elimination Chamber against five opponents all looking to win that Championship, but this week Kassidy once again was at the top of her game. This was a very competitive match, but Kassidy’s promotional videos this week really just showed that she may just be completely right when she says that she’s the best in the business.
Champion of the Week
Ms. Extreme
This week’s Champion of the Week is the Universal Women’s Champion, Ms. Extreme! At Road to Redemption, Ms. Extreme defended her Championship against five other women in the first ever Extreme Elimination Chamber for the Universal Women’s Champion. Not only did Ms. Extreme retain her title in that match, but she got past the biggest obstacle getting in the way of her becoming the longest reigning Universal Women’s Champion. This was a big win for Ms. Extreme, so congratulations to the Universal Women’s Champion!
Most Valuable Elitist
Myles
The Most Valuable Elitist for this week is the former Mr. Cash in the Vault and the NEW EAW World Champion, Myles! At Road to Redemption Myles would face Cameron Ella Ava in a match that went to a disqualification, but that’s not all Myles did at the event. After Drake King attacked Minerva and pinned her to end the final Extreme Elimination Chamber, Myles found his way into the Chamber, attacking Drake and cashing in his Cash in the Vault briefcase, taking the Championship from Drake only moments after he retained. Myles may not have cared about the title when he cashed in the briefcase, but there’s no doubt that this was a huge way to end the show. Congratulations to the new EAW Champion!
