Rising Star of the Week
Jay Jerry Johnson
This week on Voltage, Jay Jerry Johnson went up against Sebastian Garcia in Sebastian’s first ever match in EAW. Sebastian would put up a good fight and have a nice showing in his debut, but Jay Jerry Johnson is the man that’d go on to pick up the victory that night. Jay Jerry Johnson has a lot of potential, and with performances like the one he had this week, he could definitely become a big deal in EAW. Congratulations to Jay Jerry Johnson for picking up the victory!
Beef of the Week
Myles vs Andre Walker vs Impact
This week’s Beef of the Week goes to the triple threat match between Myles, Andre Walker, and Impact. This was a great match where all three men showed up and put on fantastic performances. Myles and Andre already had history heading into this match thanks to their encounters at Pain for Pride and even before that, but this match was different thanks to the presence of Impact. Impact, Andre and Myles all showed why they’re vital members to their respective Stadium Stampede teams, and regardless of the winner there’s no doubt that this Stadium Stampede is shaping up to be a memorable one.
Show of the Week
Voltage
This week’s Show of the Week was Voltage! Their main event was the triple threat Stadium Stampede preview match between Drake King, Lethal Consequences and SOSA Henderson, but a lot more happened on the show than that. We also saw Jamie O’Hara face Showdown’s Amir Yusuf, and even an impromptu match between Danny Tanner and Harlow Reichert. The Brand Warfare team would also finally be complete on Voltage’s side as Jake Smith would defeat Ryan Wilson, adding both himself and Chris Elite to the team. This was a very eventful Voltage, definitely making Territorial Invasion very exciting!
Match of the Week
Drake King vs SOSA Henderson vs Lethal Consequences
This week’s Match of the Week was Voltage’s main event, the triple threat match between Drake King, SOSA Henderson, and Lethal Consequences! This was a great, competitive match between the three Elitists, and everyone involved with this match should definitely be proud of the part they played in this. The end of this match saw Drake pinning Lethal Consequences with SOSA just barely coming up short in his attempt to break up the pin, but all in all this was definitely a great way to close out Voltage.
Promoer of the Week
Minerva
This week’s Promoer of the Week is the National Elite Champion, Minerva! This week Minerva competed on Dynasty in a triple threat against the Visual Prophet and Theron Nikolas, and Minerva put out a bunch of fantastic promos this week. There was never any doubt that she’d deliver this week, but she definitely helped showcase what New Eden plans to bring to the table come Territorial Invasion. Minerva’s promos have always been amazing, and this was yet another week where she showed just how talented she is. Congratulations to Minerva for picking up the victory after a great week of promos!
Champion of the Week
Drake King
The Champion of the Week for this week was the EAW World Champion, Drake King! On Voltage, Drake faced SOSA Henderson and Lethal Consequences in a triple threat main event match ahead of Territorial Invasion. After pinning Lethal Consequences, Drake would capture the victory to close out the show. This week had some big matches in preparation for Territorial Invasion, and this was definitely one of those matches. New Eden has a lot on the line at Territorial Invasion, and this match made it clear that New Eden plans to leave with the victory.
Most Valuable Elitist
Impact
This week’s Most Valuable Elitist is Impact! On Showdown, Impact competed in a triple threat featuring both Myles and Andre Walker. In the end Impact was able to capture the victory by taking Myles out and then pinning Andre. This win gave Showdown a lot of momentum heading into the Stadium Stampede match, and it very well could serve as a preview for what’s to come at Territorial Invasion. Impact has competed in the main event of Territorial Invasion and captured the victory before. Could this be yet another brand supremacy win for him?
