Amir Yusuf
This week’s Rising Star of the Week was Showdown’s Amir Yusuf! On Showdown Amir would go up against the longest reigning Answers World Champion ever in Theron Nikolas, and while Amir may not have won that match, he definitely proved just how talented he is and how much potential he has to succeed here. Amir had an amazing performance against one of the most successful Elitists on the Showdown roster, and that definitely deserves to be recognized. Amazing work this week from Amir Yusuf!
Beef of the Week
Chris Elite vs Justin Windgate
This week’s Beef of the Week was a match that, while they didn’t know it as they were posting their amazing promos, would soon become a contendership for the EAW Championship! This isn’t the first time Chris Elite and Justin Windgate have faced each other, but this week these two had a phenomenal back and forth in a week where so many matches were extremely active and featured tons of great promos. A week like this is the best way to start the season. They clearly don’t like each other and tensions are even higher with a Championship match on the line, but both men did a fantastic job this week.
Show of the Week
Voltage
In the first week of the new season, all three shows delivered. Every single show was at their best making this a very tough decision, but in the end this week’s Show of the Week was Voltage. There were fantastic matches across the board from Jake Smith and Mary S. Atlas versus Donovan Duke and Holly Arrow, to Ryan Wilson versus Lucas Johnson, to the number one contenders match which was given that stipulation during the show, to the huge main event that actually ended with controversy, Voltage was a great show all around, and if this first week of shows was anything to go by, all three brands are sure to deliver this season.
Match of the Week
Ms. Extreme vs Drake King
This week’s Match of the Week was the main event of Voltage, the Champion versus Champion match between both of Voltage’s World Champions, Ms. Extreme and Drake King. This was a fantastic match that really showed exactly why these two are where they are now with their World titles, and while this match didn’t end with a clear winner like these two originally wanted and instead ended with a big interference that actually got the match called off, this match was a great first main event match for Voltage this season.

Kassidy Heart
After yet another incredible week of promos and a big win over one of Showdown’s Champions to follow up her historic victory at Pain for Pride, Promoer of the Week, Champion of the Week and the Most Valuable Elitist of this week is Kassidy Heart, the Answers World Champion! On Showdown Kassidy went up against the Hardcore Champion Adam Lucas, the man who won that title by defeating Kassidy’s husband Mr. DEDEDE back at Pain for Pride. Kassidy would manage to get the victory in this match, once again proving that she’s without a doubt one of the most talented wrestlers on the entire planet. Congratulations Kassidy Heart!
