A. Catalina Flowers
This week’s Rising Star of the Week is A. Catalina Flowers! Making the transition to wrestling from Fight Grid doesn’t seem like the easiest thing in the world, but Catalina Flowers has done a great job in recent weeks. This week her and Lisa Wren had a great match, and in the end Catalina would capture the victory, something that’ll definitely look great on her record. Congratulations to A. Catalina Flowers!
Beef of the Week
Ms. Extreme vs TLA
Beef of the Week this week goes to Voltage’s King of Elite semi-finals match between Ms. Extreme and TLA. These are two amazing Elitists and once these two made it to the semi-finals an amazing promoing week was guaranteed, but that didn’t stop these two from delivering some of their best work, proving why they both deserve to make it to the King of Elite finals. In the end the match didn’t go to plan thanks to an attack from Minerva early before the show, but these two still did amazing this week and that deserves to he recognized.
Show of the Week
Voltage
With so much going on such as Prince Fayyaad’s appearance, the King of Elite semi-finals match between Ms. Extreme and TLA, and matches such as Sierra Bradford versus Jake Smith and Hikari Kanno versus SOSA Henderson, Voltage was without a doubt this week’s Show of the Week. All three brands have been very competitive heading towards King of Elite with the shows being at an all time high, but this week the yellow brand takes it!
Match of the Week
Consuela Rose Ava vs Kassidy Heart
Match of the Week for this week goes to the King of Elite semi-finals match between Consuela Rose Ava and Kassidy Heart! This was never going to be a fully clean match with Drake King’s presence, but in the end these two proved just how much they wanted to advance to the finals as they still got back up following an attack from him. These two are some of Showdown’s best Elitists, and there’s no doubt that both women deserved such a great spot at King of Elite, even if in the end only one was able to win. Congratulations Kassidy Heart, and great performance by both women!
Promoer of the Week
Hikari Kanno
This week’s Promoer of the Week was one half of IDOL-GUN, Hikari Kanno! Both Hikari and Miku have made quite the impact in recent weeks, and this week that only continued as Hikari faced the EAW Champion, SOSA Henderson. Hikari not only proved that she could hang with the best and do just fine, but Hikari actually proved just how big of a deal IDOL-GUN is with incredible promos that even rival some of her brands best. Even if her match didn’t go how she wanted it to, there’s no doubt that her work this week was something to be proud of.
Champion of the Week
Myles
Champion of the Week for this week was the National Elite Champion, Myles! As of late Myles and Minerva’s matches have been filled with interferences by each other, but this week Myles actually managed to defeat Candice Blair on his own. With Rex McAllister’s appearance it’s not like Myles was able to get that interference, but like Rex said Myles still knows how to get the job done the right way, as proven just this past Sunday on Voltage. Congratulations to Myles on another successful victory!
Most Valuable Elitist
Xander Payne
With two King of Elite semi-finals matches happening across Voltage and Showdown, it was difficult to choose this week’s Most Valuable Elitist. However, in the end it has to go to the man who actually defeated the World Heavyweight Champion on Dynasty, Xander Payne. Winning the King of Elite tournament entitles you to a World Championship match whenever you want, and while Dray Fontana played a part in this victory, Xander Payne proved that he has what it takes to defeat Lethal Consequences and win his first World Championship. Congratulations Xander Payne!
