Rising Star of the Week

SKA

Rising Star of the Week is without a doubt SKA! SKA has always been a very talented Elitist, but this week he scored probably the biggest singles victory in his career, defeating someone most people could only dream of defeating in Xavier Williams. Xavier Williams is a hall of famer who hasn’t been defeated up until Territorial Invasion where Mr. DEDEDE had to pull out all the stops, so the fact that SKA was able to capture such a win is huge. This could do wonders for his career. As long as SKA continues to put in this effort he could become a big player on the Showdown roster very quickly.

Beef of the Week

MASOCHISTxMANIFEST vs Corona Hombres

Our Beef of the Week for this week is the final Round one match for the Grand Prix, the team of Minerva and Myles against Terry Chambers and TLA! This was a match between two teams of very talented Elitists, and with such high stakes there was no doubt that they’d go hard for this match, which they did. With both teams featuring former and future World Champions, they made sure to let us all know just how much they wanted to advance in the Grand Prix. These are four of the most talented Voltage has, and there’s no doubt that all four Elitists will go far this season no matter who won.

Show of the Week

Dynasty

Dynasty is our Show of the Week heading into House of Glass! This was a huge show, featuring more Grand Prix round one matches, Impact challenging Dray Fontana for the PURE Championship, Specialists Championship tournament matches, and even the confrontation between Harlow Reichert and Serena Bennett that ended with Harlow taking out the Champion! The end of the show took a very uneasy turn, as Mr. DEDEDE would unfortunately behead the Visual Prophet’s beloved Tiger, Kimmy. Yes, that’s right. To end Dynasty Mr. DEDEDE killed Viz’s Tiger, but despite such an unfortunate end, this was a show for the record books.

Match of the Week

Ahren Fournier vs Sienna Jade

Our Match of the Week was Voltage’s main event match between Ahren Fournier and National Elite Champion Sienna Jade. This match had SOSA Henderson and Myles at ringside, which tells you everything you needed to know about how this went. Not only did Ahren and Sienna perform as well as expected, but SOSA and Myles got involved any chance they could, making for a very chaotic main event match for Voltage. In the end Myles’ distractions became too much for Sienna Jade, allowing Ahren Fournier to roll her up and pick up the victory. Distractions aside this was a fantastic contest between former World Champions, and they proved why they’re some of the best Voltage has to offer.

Promoer of the Week

Kassidy Heart

Our Promoer of the Week is the woman who defeated Maxwell in the main event of Showdown, Kassidy Heart. Still fresh off of her return at Territorial Invasion, Kassidy Heart is proving week after week that she has not lost a step during her absence. She’s still the same Kassidy we’ve come to know, and that Kassidy is not only one of the best on the Showdown roster, but one of the top talents in EAW as a whole. After yet another amazing week, Promoer of the Week had to go to this woman, who has a very high chance of becoming the next Answers World Champion.

Champion of the Week

The Visual Prophet & Serena Bennett

This week we’re having two Champions of the Week, as these two Champions not only advanced in the Grand Prix together, but they’re actually the only two Champions to win their matches this week! While the rest of their nights on Dynasty didn’t exactly go to plan, Serena Bennett and the Visual Prophet were able to work together perfectly fine in the Grand Prix, defeating Team Wilson and advancing to the second round. The Universal Women’s Champion and World Heavyweight Champion make up two of Dynasty’s best Elitists, and this week we were able to see exactly why they hold the Championships they do.

Most Valuable Elitist

Ahren Fournier

Voltage may not have ended how he would have liked it to, but Ahren Fournier was definitely the Most Valuable Elitist for this week. Voltage started off great for Ahren after getting the upper hand on SOSA Henderson at the beginning of the show, but later on in the night things went even better as, with Myles’ interference, Ahren Fournier was able to defeat the National Elite Champion, Sienna Jade. This must be a huge confidence booster heading into Wicked Games, and after everything he did this week it looks like things are really going Ahren’s way. There’s a very good chance that this might just be the next EAW Champion.
