Shawn Sturgis

Shawn Sturgis defeated Grizzly Bear Rocco and Alun Wyn Jones in a Lights Show Match for the “Unique Opportunity.” I am not going to lie. Any of the three competitors in the match, could have won the match. This was an impressive victory for Shawn, who has continued to get better. I am excited to see what his unique opportunity is. If I were to guess, it has to be some sort of championship match. Maybe, a New Breed Championship match? Maybe, an Interwire Championship Match? Either way, it’s going to be an excellent opportunity for him. I’m excited to see what this unique opportunity is and I hope it’s something good.

Show of the Week

Shock Value

In order to set the bar for the other two brands, the Voltage brand had Shock Value. There were many matches on this card that was amazing. The Shock Collar Tag Team Match, the Electric Chairs Match and Lights Show Match Were just a few of them many amazing matches on the show. This was one out of the ordinary Shock Values that I’ve seen; however, I thought it was very engaging, left me on the edge of my seat, and gave me something to look back on. You could pick any match from the show and it would have you on the edge of your seat. I thought this was a fun show to watch. Most importantly, it progressed things forward to Grand Rampage. I’m excited to see the fallout of Shock Value. Excellent job to everyone who made this show possible!

Match of the Week

Andrea Valentine vs. Charlie Marr

For Match of the week, Andrea Valentine faced Charlie Marr in an Electrified Steel Cage of Death. I love that Charlie would win this match since this is the same match that he won that EAW Championship in. he thought that the champion was going to be in a disadvantage, but Andrea was not going to give him that satisfaction. With Malcolm Jones as the referee, it seems like Charlie stripped away from his advantage. I thought this was gruesome. It was brutal, but this was such an amazing match that you could not take your eyes away from. Despite the result, I thought everyone in the match looked amazing. Andrea versus Malcolm is going to be a match that steals the show at Grand Rampage. 

Promoer of the Week

Dr. Bethany Blue

Dr. Bethany Blue is the Promoer of the Week. This week, I thought she put out fantastic work. We saw her carry her partner to victory. I swear, if this was a handicap match, she could probably have won the match by herself. I thought she handled both Terry Chambers and Ms. Extreme fantastically. She held her own. She looked amazing improved that she could take anything that comes your way. Still, she is one of the most compelling people on the Voltage brand I am excited to see what she does next, but something tells me that she’s probably done with this situation. This is probably best because I feel like this whole situation with the Corvus is going to get ugly real quick.

Most Valuable Elitist 

Andrea Valentine  

Andrea Valentine takes this spot as the Most Valuable Elitist. I have no clue how she was able to get the job done but, she did it. This reign has been truly a blast to witness and I hope nothing it away from her. I really enjoy how she has been able to overcome all the competition that has been in her way. I see Malcolm Jones as her toughest challenge every day because he is someone that doesn’t hold back is one of the most cutthroat competitors on the brand. it’s going to be fun to see Andrea clap back at him we need to be the best on the brand. if she manages to get through Malcolm, then there is nothing that could stop her.
