The Day 1 headlining bout of 2011’s mega-event featuring an up and coming Ashten Cross looking to capture his first World Championship against the champion at the time, Impact, and his former stablemate and at the time recent Hall of Fame Inductee, Lethal Consequences.

Announcer: Ladies and Gentlemen, the following contest is YOUR Main Event for Day 1 of PAIN! FOR!! PRIIIDDE!!!…. It is scheduled for one fall and is for THE ANSWERS CHAMPIONSHIP OF THE WOOOORRLLLDDD!!….
(Lethal Consequence’s music hits as the crowd erupts with cheers)
(LC comes out to the stage as below his feet, catchphrases such as “DON’T PISS ME OFF” and “SLAPNUTS” are seen rapidly appearing on the floor of the stage)
Stew: I can NOT wait to get to this action, I think I speak for many people when I say that I have been waiting for all three of these men to go at it since all of this began back just after Reasonable Doubt.
Announcer: First, making his way to the ring.. From Oakland, California!…. Weighing in at 230 pounds!…. LETTTHHAAALLLL CONSEQUENCESSS!!!
Stew: Each one of these men have traveled their own way to get here, yet somehow together. LC here got here in the main event of Pain For Pride by sheer will and the determination to make it back on top after the big slump in his career following his EAW Title reign back in 2009.
(Ashten Cross’ music hits as the crowd erupts with cheers)
(Ashten comes out to the stage as below his feet, a big graphics that reads “The Diety” appears on the floor of the stage)
Announcer: Next, making his way to the ring… From Charlotte, North Carolina!…. Weighing in at 280 pounds!…. ASSHTTTTEEEENNN CRRROOOSSSSS!!!
Masters: I’ll admit, Ashten has quite an advantage over his two opponents tonight. He’s the biggest athlete in this entire match, but that MAY make him the odd man out. LC and Impact very well MAY work together in order to get this big man that is Ashten out of the way.

(Y2Impact makes his way out to the stage with the Answers World Championship around his waist as below his feet, cryptic codes rapidly appear on the floor of the stage)
Announcer: Lastly, making his way to the ring, the champion!…. From Seattle, Washington!…. Weighing in at 226 pounds!…. HE IS THE ANSWERS WORLD CHAMPION!!….. Y! 2!! IMMMMPPAAACCCTTTT!!!
Stew: Impact better hope that video that just played isn’t a farewell gift because it was laid out to him on Voltage by CEO Daniels, if Impact does NOT retain the Answers World Title tonight, he is GONE from Voltage! He’s got a lot on the line tonight, Masters.
Masters: No doubt, Stew, and lets not even forget Impact’s big Pain For Pride winning streak as well. He has YET to lose at a Pain For Pride event and I think he’s going to do everything in his power to keep that belt around his waist and his streak intact tonight. All three men are now ready in the ring as the Referee holds up that Answers World Title in the air.. And it looks like this match is going to officially start..
(DING! DING! DING!)
Stew: All three look ready to make the first move.. Each one looking back at each other, anything could happen at this moment.. And Impact is the first to make a move, charging for Ashten! But Ashten cuts him off with a knee to the gut! Ashten backs Impact up into the corner, just UNLOADING shots into him! LC is quick to turn Ashten around, demanding HE get a piece of Impact too! Ashten PUSHES LC to the ground before going back to his attack on Impact! But Impact with a RAKE to the eyes of Ashten! Ashten back-pedals as Impact CHARGES! But Ashten sidesteps the attack as Impact instead runs into LC! AND LC WITH A HARD BACK BODY DROP ON IMPACT! LC quickly rushes into Ashten Cross now, laying into him with lefts and rights of his own! LC looks to have kept Ashten at bay for long enough as he now turns around to go back on the attack of the Answers World Champion! BUT IMPACT DROPS LC ON HIS BACK, KEEPING BOTH LEGS! WALLS OF IMPACT EARLY ON!!! But Ashten lays Impact out with a devastating clothesline!
Masters: Ashten grabs a hold of LC now, pulling him to his feet.. But LC immediately escapes the grip of Ashten, NAILING him with a European uppercut! LC is now taking it to Ashten as Impact looks to get back to his feet.. But LC quickly turns around, charging at Impact with a clothesline! It connects! Impact looks to be once again down as LC turns his attention back to Ashten, propped up on the ropes.. LC CHARGES! BUT ASHTEN SENDS LC TO THE OUTSIDE WITH A BACK BODY DROP! NO! LC’s able to land on his feet on the apron as an unsuspecting Ashten Cross looks to follow up on the damage done to Impact.. Impact rises to his feet.. Ashten turns him around! HE PICKS HIM UP!! LOOK OUT! F5!!!! But Impact escapes it, landing on his feet behind Ashten! Impact charges into the ropes as Ashten turns around.. But Ashten sidesteps the attack! Impact’s headed for LC! But LC stops Impact dead in his tracks with a headbutt to the stomach through the ropes! LC’s picking him up, still on the apron! LC SENDS IMPACT DROPPING TO THE OUTSIDE!
Stew: Ashten chimes in with a shot to the head of LC now! The World Champion is down and out here on the outside and that does NOT affect this match because he doesn’t even have to be involved in the fall for the title to change hands here tonight! Ashten grabs a hold of LC who is still on the apron, navigating him towards the corner.. And DRIVES him into the ringpost! But LC isn’t down just yet, he’s hanging by that top rope! But Ashten doesn’t even look finished yet as he sets LC up.. VERTICAL SUPLEX BACK INTO THE RING! But LC looks to struggle out of it! Ashten can’t get it to connect quite yet as LC battles back! LC REVERSES INTO A HANGMAN ON THE TOP ROPE! Ashten Cross drops flat on his back in the ring, gasping for air, as LC immediately searches under the ring for something! What could he be looking for at this point! He.. HE PULLS OUT AN ACOUSTIC GUITAR!! It looks like LC is using a trick up his sleeve early on in this match up!
Masters: LC quickly climbs up to the apron with that guitar in hand as Ashten begins to get back to his feet.. LC is now climbing UP to the top turnbuckle! He may be looking to go airbourne! Ashten’s up as LC prepares himself.. HE LEAPS– LOOK OUT ASHTEN!! ASHTEN CROSS CATCHES LC IN THE AIR WITH A DOUBLE A SPINEBUSTER!!! That guitar is sent sliding across the ring as LC looks to be officially down and OUT! There may be no getting back from a counter like that! Ashten has a perfect opportunity to end this contest if he can just make the cover, but he looks as though he may still be in a bit of pain or he could have possibly suffered an injury from that! But damaged or not, Ashten Cross crawls over to the downed LC! HE COVERS HIM!
Referee: ONE!!!!!!!!!……..
Stew: LC with a shoulder up! We’ve seen this resilience from Lethal Consequences many times, it’s going to take a whole lot more than that to keep him down! Ashten slowly rises to his feet as LC looks to do the same.. But Ashten seems to be looking at something more than just LC! He’s looking at that acoustic guitar! Ashten gets to his feet and picks up that acoustic guitar as a damaged LC climbs back to his feet using the ropes! ASHTEN RAISES THAT GUITAR HIGH ABOVE HIS HEAD! LC TURNS AROUND AS ASHTEN SWINGS!! NO! Y2Impact SWIPES that guitar from Ashten’s hands from the apron! Impact drops down to the mat with that guitar in hand as Ashten swings for him! Ashten quickly turns around to meet a HARD shot to the face from LC! LC PULLS HIM IN! THE STROKE!! NO! Ashten with a nice reversal into an arm drag! LC gets back to his feet, rushing into Ashten! But Ashten sends LC up and down throat-first on that top rope! A dazed LC back-pedals into Ashten as he sets him up with something! COBRA CLUTCH!!!! HE’S GOT THE COBRA CLUTCH LOCKED IN TIGHT ON LETHAL CONSEQUENCES!! HE MAY TAP!!
Masters: LOOK OUT!! IMPACT SWINGS THAT GUITAR OF LC’S INTO BOTH THE SKULLS OF ASHTEN CROSS AND LETHAL CONSEQUENCES!!!! WHAT A SHOT! Both men drop like statues as Impact contemplates his next move! AND HE COVERS LC!! THIS IS IT!
Referee: ONE!!!!!!!!……… TWO!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Stew: But LC with a shoulder up!! He’s STILL not finished! Impact looks very frustrated, he may want to put this match to an end as quickly as possible! His career on Voltage is on the line! His Title is on the line! HE RUSHES INTO THE ROPES!! LIONSAULT!!!! LIONSAULT CONNECTS ON ASHTEN CROSS!!! IMPACT IMMEDIATELY COVERS ASHTEN!! THIS HAS TO BE IT!
Referee: ONE!!!!!!!……. TWO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Masters: LETHAL CONSEQUENCES IS THERE TO BREAK IT UP! THIS MATCH IS NOT OVER! Impact can’t believe it! LC was damn near out cold just a few seconds ago! Impact quickly gets to his feet and just begins UNLOADING stomps into the body of LC! LC is looking to fight back, trying to slowly get back to his feet for some kind of offense, but Impact only INCREASES the attack, now sending forearms into the body of LC! Impact grabs a hold of LC! AND DRIVES HIM INTO THE RINGPOST OF THE CORNER!! The body of LC has just crashed shoulder-first between those turnbuckles and into that cold steel ringpost!! Impact has a vicious look on his face, he’s doing anything to keep either or BOTH of his opponents down for good! He grabs a hold of LC once again, pulling him out.. AND DRIVES HIM INTO THE RINGPOST FOR A SECOND TIME!! You’ve GOTTA wonder what this could be doing to the previously damaged shoulder of LC from his last match with Impact on Voltage! Impact, grabbing a hold of LC again, pulls him out again..
Stew: IMPACT VICIOUSLY IRISH WHIPS LC INTO THE CORNER!! LC’s entire body is sent rolling up to the top turnbuckle just through the sheer FORCE of that whip! A dazed and damaged LC drops down to the apron as Impact CHARGES INTO THE ROPES!! SPRINGBOARD DROPKICK!! But LC dodges it!! Impact lands firmly on his feet on the outside, he’s not out just yet! HE PULLS LC’S LEG OUT FROM UNDER HIM! LC is sent dropping face-first into the apron! You can see the blood trickling from the nose of Lethal Consequences as he is navigated towards the Spanish announce table by Impact.. Impact DRIVES LC face-first into the cover of the Spanish announce table! LC drops down as Impact rips off the cover to the Spanish announce table! I hope Impact isn’t looking to DESTROY that table because it seems as though our ring crew has given us these re-enforced steel announce tables! It’ll take a lot more to break one of these babies down!
Masters: Impact rips out one of the monitors from the table as LC rises back to his feet.. IMPACT DRIVES THAT MONITOR INTO THE SKULL OF LC!! Impact drops that monitor and rips out the second monitor to the table before turning his focus back on Lethal Consequences.. He grabs a hold of a now bloody LC, pulling him back to his feet.. Impact is looking to roll the battered and beaten body of LC onto the table! But LC is fighting back! He’s sending multiple elbows into the body of Impact, looking for something to help him out of this! But Impact may be too much! LOOK OUT!! ASHTEN CROSS THROUGH THE ROPES WITH A SUICIDE DIVE!!! HE JUST TOOK DOWN BOTH MEN!! BOTH LC and Impact are now down and it looks like the control has shifted over into Ashten Cross’ court! But you can only wonder what this man may have in store for these two as he pulls LC to his feet.. HE PICKS HIM UP! No.. No, don’t do that! F5 CONNECTS ONTO THAT SPANISH ANNOUNCE TABLE!!!! LC is LAID out on that table, but the table is NOT destroyed as you can see, but I don’t think.. Ashten is finished yet! He now begins pulling Impact up..
Stew: HE PICKS HIM UP!! NO! DON’T!! F5 CONNECTS ONTO LC ON THAT SPANISH ANNOUNCE TABLE!!!! I can’t BELIEVE THAT! Ashten Cross just F5’d the Answers World Champion onto an already downed LC!! And that table is STILL not apparently destroyed as Ashten now climbs up to the apron.. What-what’s he looking to do? Ashten begins.. CLIMBING to the top turnbuckle!! NO! Whatever you’re thinking, Ashten, don’t do it! HE’S PERCHED UP ON THAT TURNBUCKLE!! NO! HE LEAPS!!! SHOOTING STAR PRESS!!!! LETHAL CONSEQUENCES AND IMPACT MOVE OUT OF THE WAY AS THE BODY OF ASHTEN CROSS BOUNCES OFF OF THAT RE-ENFORCED ANNOUNCE TABLE!!! BAH GAWD ALMIGHTY!! HE COULD HAVE JUST KILLED HIMSELF WITH THAT! Both LC and Impact look on in shock at what they COULD have become victims of! That devastating Shooting Star Press may have taken Ashten completely out of the equation in this match! Both LC and Impact rise to their feet.. Picking up Ashten Cross now..
Masters: Impact clears the Showdown announce table as LC rolls the big man onto the table! All three men are now on the Showdown announce table as LC and Impact pull Ashten to his feet.. LC and Impact look at each other, they stare down, before pulling Ashten up! THEY SET HIM UP!! NO!! NO! LOOK OUT!! DOUBLE-TEAM SUPLEX SENDS ASHTEN CROSS CRASHING THROUGH THE SPANISH ANNOUNCE TABLE!!! I CAN’T BELIEVE IT! THE SPANISH ANNOUNCE TABLE HAS BEEN DESTROYED!! Both Impact and LC slowly get off the table.. IMPACT DRIVES LC INTO THE STEPS!! Impact looks nowhere near finished with LC, the man he faced just two years ago right here at Pain For Pride! Impact rips the top of those steps off as a now bloody LC climbs back to his feet using the apron.. Impact grabs a hold of him! HE SETS LC UP!! THE BREAKDOWN CONNECTS STRAIGHT ONTO THE STEPS!!! LC is sent face-first into those steps as he now wears a crimson mask! Impact looks to end this as he rolls a possibly unconscious LC into the ring! Impact slides in as well! HE HOOKS BOTH LEGS OF LC!!
Referee: ONE!!!!!….. TWO!!!!!!!!!!!!!……………. THREE–
Stew: NO! LC WITH A KICK OUT!! This is NOT over!! Impact looks up at the Referee in shock!! He can NOT believe LC kicked out of that, but what guts it takes to kick out of a beating that LC just took! He is proving right here tonight that he WANTS that Answers World Title! Impact may want it more though as he rises back to his feet.. He grabs a hold of LC’s feet, dragging him into the middle of the ring! HE’S LOOKING FOR THE WALLS OF IMPACT!! AND!… HE’S GOT IT!! IT’S LOCKED IN!! WALLS OF IMPACT!!!! LC IS MOANING AND CRINGING IN PAIN!!! IMPACT SCREAMS FOR LC TO TAP AS LC CONTINUES TO BLEED LIKE A STUFFED PIG!! THIS MAY BE THE END OF THIS YOUNG MAN!! ALL THREE OF THESE MEN HAVE PUT EVERYTHING THEY HAVE INTO THIS, BUT IT SEEMS IMPACT IS LEAVING STILL THE ANSWERS WORLD CHAMPION AS LC LOOKS AS THOUGH HE MAY TAP!! But.. BUT LC IS CLAWING HIS WAY TOWARDS THE ROPES!! IMPACT INCREASES THE PRESSURE AS A BLOODY LC INCHES HIS WAY TOWARDS FREEDOM!! DON’T TAP, LC! YOU’VE PUT EVERYTHING YOU’VE WORKED FOR INTO THIS! DON’T TAP!! LC’S INCHES AWAY!! HE GRABS THE BOTTOM ROPE!! HE DID IT!
Masters: NO! IMPACT IS NOT BREAKING THE HOLD!! LC MAY HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO GIVE UP!! HE’S GOT A HAND UP!! HE TAPS!!!! NO!! ASHTEN CROSS STOPS THE HAND OF LC FROM OUTSIDE!! I thought he was out of this! It seems Ashten isn’t giving up as well as he slides back into the ring.. AND SENDS A BOOT INTO THE SIDE OF IMPACT’S HEAD!! The Walls of Impact are officially broken as the Answers World Champion drops to the outside! Ashten Cross is once again the only man standing in this match as he turns his focus back on LC.. Both men are battered, they are beaten, but only one man can walk out victorious and that man may be Ashten Cross as he pulls LC up! BUT LC DROPS ASHTEN FLAT ON HIS BACK, GRABBING BOTH LEGS!! WHAT’S HE LOOKING FOR?! LOCKDOWN!!!! NO! ASHTEN IS FIGHTING OUT OF IT!! LC LOCKS IN THE SHARPSHOOTER ON ASHTEN CROSS!! IT SEEMS LC CAN’T GET THE FULL LOCKDOWN ON HIM AS HE APPLIES MORE PRESSURE TO THIS SHARPSHOOTER!!
Stew: ASHTEN IS IN A LOT OF TROUBLE!! HE’S GOT NOWHERE TO GO AND I DON’T THINK THOSE ROPES ARE GOING TO SAVE HIM!! ASHTEN IS IN A HUGE AMOUNT OF PAIN AS LC INCREASES THE PRESSURE ON THIS DEVASTATING HOLD! ASHTEN’S LOOKING TO TAP TO THIS SHARPSHOOTER!! HE’S GOT NOWHERE TO GO!! IMPACT RUSHES IN!! CODEBREAKER!!!! BAH GAWD ALMIGHTY!!! CODEBREAKER CONNECTS ON LETHAL CONSEQUENCES AS THAT SHARPSHOOTER IS COMPLETELY BROKEN UP!! All three men are down!! Impact needs to end this once and for all! He begins crawling his way towards both downed men, either one may lead to the victory! And… IMPACT DROPS AN ARM ACROSS THE CHEST OF LC!! THIS IS IT! STILL ANSWERS WORLD CHAMPION!
Referee: ONE!!!!!!!!!!………. TWO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!………………… THREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Masters: NO! LC’S GOT ONE FOOT ON THE BOTTOM ROPE! IT’S NOT OVER!! Impact thinks he’s won it! The Referee informs Impact that he had a foot on the rope as a FURIOUS Impact pushes the Ref away! Impact now.. He backs up into the corner of the ring, across from both men.. Impact signals the end of this match as he patiently awaits for EITHER man to rise to their feet! Impact is damn near DROOLING as he waits for someone to get up first as it looks as though both men are doing just that.. ASHTEN’S THE FIRST ONE UP!! IMPACT CHARGES!! CODEBREAKER!!!! NO!! ASHTEN STOPS IT! HE’S REVERSING IT.. HE’S GOT IMPACT UP ON HIS SHOULDERS!! LOOK OUT!! F5 TO THE OUTSIDE!!!! THE ANSWERS WORLD CHAMPION IS SENT CRASHING TO THE OUTSIDE WITH A DEVASTATING F5 AS ASHTEN TURNS AROUND!!
Stew: ACID REIGN!!!! NO! ASHTEN REVERSES THAT AS WELL, PICKING LC UP ON HIS SHOULDERS!!! F5!!!! BUT LC LANDS ON BOTH FEET! HE IMMEDIATELY DROPS ASHTEN FLAT ON HIS BACK!! WHAT’S HE LOOKING FOR?! AND HE.. HE’S GOT IT!! THE LOCKDOWN!!!! THE LOCKDOWN IS LOCKED IN COMPLETELY ON ASHTEN CROSS THIS TIME!! DON’T TAP, ASHTEN! DON’T TAP!! BUT LC IS PUTTING ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING HE HAS INTO ENDING THIS WITH THIS LOCKDOWN!! ASHTEN HAS NO WHERE TO GO!! HE’S TRYING TO CLAW HIS WAY TOWARDS THE ROPES, BUT TO NO AVAIL AS LC INCREASES THE PRESSURE!! ASHTEN IS DOING EVERYTHING HE CAN TO NOT GIVE UP!! BUT HE MAY HAVE NOTHING LEFT IN HIM AS A VICIOUS LC SCREAMS FOR HIM TO TAP!! HE TAPS!!!! ASHTEN CROSS TAPS OUT!!! IT’S OVER! NEW ANSWERS WORLD CHAMPION! NEW WORLD CHAMPION!!

(Lethal Consequence’s music hits as the Referee hands him the Answers World Championship)
Announcer: The Winner of this match as a result of Submission!!… And NEEEWWWW ANSWERS CHAMPION OF THE WOOOORRLLLDD!!!!!…… LETHAAAAALLLL CONSEQUENCESSSS!!!!!!
Stew: CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?! He did it! Lethal Consequences is once again the King of the Mountain!! LC has just achieved something many people thought he would NEVER be able to achieve again! He just proved here tonight at Pain For Pride that there is such thing as a second chance in this life and he cemented that by winning the Answers World Championship right here tonight in Dallas, Texas at PAIN! FOR! PRIDE!!
Masters: I can’t believe this! Y2Impact is gone from Voltage! Impact is looking on from the outside of the ring in SHOCK! He can’t believe it! He’s at a loss for words as he looks on at Lethal Consequences celebrating in the ring!
Stew: Karma is a bitch and Y2Impact just got a LETHAL dose of it right here tonight, Masters! But all three men gave it their all tonight, they ALL wanted that Answers World Title more than anything else in the World, but it was THAT man in the ring tonight that had what it took to leave Pain For Pride as THE Answers World Champion!
Masters: I can’t believe Impact just got fired from Voltage! This is ridiculous! Impact still can’t believe it as Ashten Cross gets back to his feet in the ring!
Stew: Both LC and Ashten stare down in the ring as a furious Y2Impact looks on.. Ashten looks disappointed that he isn’t walking out of this arena as the New Answers World Champion as he and LC share some words.. Both men shake hands as Impact is now screaming at the Referee on the outside! It looks as though this chapter has come to an end for all three men and it truly, truly delivered! Signing off for Masters, I’m Stew-O, and thank you for joining us here tonight for the first night of Pain For Pride! Be sure to be back here tomorrow for Day 2, I got a feeling it’s gonna be bigger than expected!..
