(EAW intro plays.)
(Friday Night Dynasty intro plays. Afterwards, as customary, a brief recap is shown detailing the events of last week: Kensingten-Calhoun Astor and Richard Grant express their disappointment with Dynasty’s poor performance at Territorial Invasion and they particularly reprimand Joso for his interference in the War Games match. They bring him out and they actually suspend him, but Myles interrupts, convincing them to lift it. They do, keeping the title match between him and Joso at House of Glass intact. In the opening match, Clayton Golde defeats Mikhaila Barra. Backstage, Drake Armstrong is interviewed about TI, blaming his teammates and throwing shade at Hans Grayson and Kirk Redwood, with the latter overhearing this and things get heated fast. Issac Crow defeats Mio Inoue. Fire & Ice and regroup from their tag team titles loss and are determined to less forward despite the setback. Holly Arrow is interviewed highlighting that things haven’t been going her way lately, but she is approached by Vincent Mondrian who throws down a challenge to her at House of Glass and accepts. Next up, Vincent himself is victorious against Mia Santoro. Cy Henderson reflects on his loss and, determined to redeem himself, he challenges SOSA Henderson, who eliminated in Brand Warfare, to a match at House of Glass, setting the stage for a potential cross-brand rivalry. Hans Grayson talks about retaining his title, but Chris Elite reminds him that he’s got next. Chris then wrestles Saori Aizen, Hans makes an appearance by ringside, distracting him and, in turn, ends up losing to her. Minerva and Drake King meet up backstage, but Drake instantly blames her for everything and threatens her that consequences await. In the main event, Rex McAllister defeats Kirk Redwood.)
(Friday Night Dynasty comes to a live shot of the Indira Gandhi Arena in New Delhi, India. The fans pack the seats to the brim and are ecstatic as can be. Pyro goes off on the stage, and after a few more sweeping overhead shots capturing the magnetic energy before the Dynasty commentary team are seen.)
Stew-O: EAW UNIVERSE, WELCOME TO YET ANOTHER LIVE EDITION OF FRIDAY NIGHT DYNASTY! I AM STEW-O, AND AS ALWAYS, I AM JOINED BY MY TRUSTY COLLEAGUES IN JAKE MERCER AND FLANNERY MCCOY!
Jake Mercer: House of Glass is nearly here, baby! And what a card it is shaping up to be with people looking to make some major plays. Seeing as how we have this and next week before we get to that show too, everyone is just ready for the action to get underway!
Flannery McCoy: And speaking of getting things underway, how about we kick everything off with the world heavyweight champion?
Jake Mercer: KAKNSNDKSKSMSKSKSKSKSMSMQMMSWMLSNSWMSNSKKA!!!!!
(‘Enemy Strike’ thunders within the arena and the fans cheer. Myles shows up, having the EAW World Heavyweight Championship firmly sat on his shoulder. He looks every bit of a dominating champion as he is. He takes in the presence of the arena before he heads down the ramp and enters the ring.)
Stephie Love: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome at this time, EAW Hall of Famer and the current EAW World Heavyweight Champion… he is The Unparalleled, Undisputed, Unrivaled…. MYYYYYYYYYYLLLLEEEEEEEES!!!
Jake Mercer: YESSIR! A WORLD CHAMPION’S WORLD CHAMPION! AS A MATTER OF FACT, HE IS YOUR FAVORITE ELITIST’S FAVORITE ELITIST, BABY! SUCK IT! WOOOOO!!!
Flannery McCoy: ???
Jake Mercer: What?! Why are you looking at me like that?? Are you gonna sit there and deny Myles’ literal greatness, you bitter Betty?
Flannery McCoy: No, I’m not. In fact, I do think he is the greatest Elitist currently signed to EAW right now… just like how I think you’re the greatest bandwagoner of all time.
Jake Mercer: (dramatic gasp) How DARE you? I only recognize the elite levels that Myles has elevated within this promotion, and I for one cannot wait for his reign to continue once House of Glass is over and done with!
Flannery McCoy: I thought Joso was your guy, though?
Jake Mercer: Well, yes, but — you know what? No! You’re not going to bait me like this! I said what I said!
Stew-O: Honestly, at least as far as the EAW universe is concerned, everyone is currently split about who will win inside of Glass Wallz at House of Glass. Some fans feel like it’s finally going to be Joso’s time to solidify his spot at the top of the mountain, and given the successful history past King of Elite winners have had with their title matches, as all but one former winner have been able to win, many are thinking that Joso will be able to get the job done. However, on the other side as this man. Myles has been on a tear, and despite what happened at Territorial Invasion thanks to Joso, he remains a dominant, consistent force inside the ring. Jamie O’Hara’s record is coming into view and while Myles said he wasn’t initially eyeing it, the fact that he has made it this far and on the cusp of making history could further cement his already well-established history.
Flannery McCoy: House of Glass is going to be huge for both of them as is, but things have gotten hot as like we’ve mentioned, Joso is the reason New Eden wasn’t able to win at War Games, and that has brushed Myles the wrong way. Dynasty general managers Richard Grant and Kensingten Calhoun-Astor were actually looking to suspend Joso and call the entire match off last week for his actions, but Myles convinced them to let it stay put as a means for him to get his receipt. Now, we’re on a fast collision course when it comes to these two.
Jake Mercer: Probably the biggest match of the year between the Aceslayer and the King of Elite. At least we can all agree on that!
(Myles gets into the ring and is given a microphone. His theme fades off, and right there and then, he begins to speak.)
Myles: Well, I made my decision. I made sure that this match between Joso and I would carry on, no matter what. Aside from not wanting to see those two asshats carry on with their agenda, I also wanted to make sure that Joso wasn’t going to escape me. I’ve said it before but I’ll say it again that I don’t mind competition. I welcome it. I want for everyone here in EAW and on Dynasty to step their game up when it comes to me. I suppose, in a way, me wanting to face Joso is strange since those two ideals conflict with one another. I spared him being a victim in one sense just to essentially come after him myself. However, no one is above accountability. Joso went out of his way to cost me a match that we would’ve won, and he needs to understand that trying to go down that road with me won’t lead him to the promised land. It’s going to lead him straight into the pit of his own self-serving misery.
Myles: Still, he wanted this. He wanted to make a name for himself. He wanted to show to everyone that he doesn’t fear me, and you know what? Fine. I don’t need any opponent of mine to be scared of me. I’m not like some of these edgelord losers who want to spout off all sorts of idiotic threats that they’re simply not going to be able to back up at the end of the day. However, he needs to realize that stepping into the ring with me means stepping into a whole different reality. It’s not about fear, it’s about understanding the gravity of what you’re up against. He wanted to prove something? He’ll have his shot. But in this world, in my world, it’s not just about heart or ambition. It’s about survival, pure and simple. When the bell rings, he’ll learn firsthand what it means to face someone who doesn’t just want to win… but to dominate. To dismantle every bit of confidence he has and leave him questioning if he ever truly belonged in the same ring as me. He’s given me all the reason to do just that with him.
Myles: Besides, what even was his true reason? To remind me of what’s lurking around in the corner? I never needed reminders. I know who I am facing. I know what is at stake. He doesn’t. He thinks that he can come at me the same way as he has done to everyone, being brash and bold, and while that has worked out for him so far, it doesn’t mean that’s going to be infinite. He’s going to be met with a harsh wake-up call at House of Glass, and his own world championship dreams will be shattered. He’s going to bring that sort of fate onto himself —
(But just as Myles was speaking, ‘2024’ by Playboi Carti blares out, catching him off guard. Joso comes on out and makes his way immediately down to the ring.)
Stew-O: OH BOY, HE’S HERE! IT’S JOSO! HE ISN’T WASTING ANY TIME WITH MYLES!
Jake Mercer: Yeah, he’s brave, be it for better and for worse!
(Joso gets in the ring and asks for a mic of his own, which he is given. His theme fades, and he speaks.)
Joso: Now, now, now, let’s slow down a bit, my boy. I get you’re mad because I upstaged you, beat you up and had your number, but acting as if I don’t have any of this figured out is hilarious. This isn’t my first rodeo, partner. I’ve been in big match situations like these before. I know what it takes to beat the best, and as far as I’m concerned? The path that I decided to take for myself is leading me to beating you.
(Myles eyes him up and down before rolling his eyes.)
Myles: Is that what you think? Because frankly, you’re not ready. I mean, you can say you’ve been in matches like this before, but jog my memory here, Joso… you blew the last time you competed for this same title. And while you have been consistent in your own right, the fact of the matter is that it’s going to take more than beating two other people who aren’t even in this company no more and getting a win over an Impact who truly couldn’t care less about having any sort of integrity anymore to be able to conquer me.
Joso: Oh, so that’s how you feel, huh? Alright. Cool. You can think whatever, but I’m telling you, thinking that I won’t get the win against you isn’t going to help.
Myles: Well, what do you expect me to say? That you will beat me? No, I’m not. When it has been so long since someone has even pinned my shoulder to the mat or made me tap that I can’t even recall the last time that has happened off the top of my head, then you’re going to have to go through leaps and bounds in order to get the job done. This is bigger than any match, title or otherwise, that you have had in your career.
Joso: Yeah? Cause I heard the same things before, and yet here I am, successful as can be and the best talent there is on Dynasty.
Myles: Well… no, you actually aren’t the best seeing as how I’m standing here with the title and all, but you can settle with second place.
Joso: And why would I want to do that?
Myles: Because so long as I’m around, Joso, you will never get the throne you are seeking?
Joso: Yeah? Then that just means I got to take you out myself.
Myles: So you say. However, I have heard the same thing over the course of my reign. People thought they were different. Some thought they learned from their prior failures against me, or even from the mistakes that others have committed when they faced me. Yet here I am. No one proved to be the bracket buster, no one proved to be ahead of the Warlord. I’ve gone through every obstacle imaginable. You’re one of the last obstacles in my way of history, and there’s no way you think I’m letting it end here
Joso: You may not think it, but you’re gonna have to accept it, because I’m not backing down at all. I know what I want. I went through a lot to get to this point—
Myles: As have I. However, some of us are more than capable of making due on our promises while others have to overcompensate just so that they can stand a more believable chance… and so that they can mask their desperation.
(Joso shakes his head, chuckling lightly.)
Joso: So that’s what you think?
Myles: Not what I think. It’s what I know, based on experience.
Joso: Well, man, you just don’t know jack shit at the end of the day. How about that?
(Myles purses his lips.)
Myles: No, no, I think I do. Guys like you want to act all assured with what they have achieved. A two-time tournament winner, former Interwire Champion, yet you don’t act like it. You act like a guy who’s afraid that everything isn’t going to be worth it, which I can’t really blame. You won the New Era Classic which no longer exists. You ended Andre Walker’s double champion run, but who knows how that would’ve unfolded had there not been a third person involved in the match? And like I said, you probably had the easiest road to travel on when it comes to becoming King of Elite.
(Myles looks right at Joso.)
Myles: So really, this is it for you. Otherwise…
(He gets closer, leaning towards his ear.)
Myles: You might want to call your old friend Angelo up and ask him to show you how to put some fries in the bag.
(The crowd ‘oooohs’ at that. Joso starts to look livid as he eyes back Myles, who simply offers him a smug smirk.)
Myles: At least you won’t be able to miss that, huh?
(Myles tosses his microphone to the side and bumps into Joso’s shoulder intentionally before walking off. ‘Enemy Strike’ plays again, and Joso watches on, pissed off.)
Stew-O: Wow. Strong words shared by both champion and challenger! And Myles made sure to get that last word in, leaving Joso heated!
Jake Mercer: Myles is showing he can go fit for tat, and Joso isn’t happy!
Flannery McCoy: Not at all. But Myles let it be known he’s coming for Joso, and he’s going to make sure he details his plans of becoming a world champion for the first time in his career.
(With that, Dynasty fades to the first set of commercials for the evening.)
(A commercial plays for Joker 2, featuring every single EAW Elitist currently assigned falling asleep in the movie theaters.)
(Dynasty returns from break and goes to ringside, with Stephie Love in the ring ready to kick the night of action off.)
Stephie Love: Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for ONE FALL!
Crowd: ONE FALL!!!
(‘Ruffneck’ by MC Lyte hits the speakers as Mio Inoue storms out to some boos from the crowd. She aggressively glares around at all of them, hopping to the apron, and entering the ring.)
Stephie Love: Introducing first, from Aomori, Japan, weighing in at 192 pounds, she is “PANTHERESS”, MIIOOO! INNNOOUUEEEE!
(‘Notorious’ by UPSAHL begins playing and the lights flash green and white. The camera pans over to Mia Santoro moving through the crowd, tagging her fans. She signs a couple of autographs, before hopping over the barricade and sliding into the ring. She climbs up the middle rope, extending her arms out.)
Stephie Love: Her opponent,, from Key West, Florida, weighing in at 115 pounds, she is “LA DESPERADA” MIA! SANTORO!
(DING DING DING!)
Jake Mercer: Mio comes hot out of the gates, trying to capitalize on the veteran! She swings a forearm, but Mia ducks and throws one of her own! Then a knife edge chop! Mia takes her wrist for an irish whip, but Mia twirls under and kicks her in the gut! She takes the head, looking for a vertical suplex!
Stew-O: Nope! Mio floats over! She takes the waist for an early O’Connor Roll, but Mia holds onto the ropes! Mio rolls backwards. She charges back in, and Mia cracks her with a thrust kick to the ribs! Mia hits off the ropes, but Mio drops down in hopes of tripping her! Mia sees it coming, frontrolling over her! She lands to her feet and both women nip up to their feet. Mio swings for Mia, who ducks under and grabs the hair, pulling her down into a neckbreaker!
Jake Mercer: Nasty impact! Mia rises up to her feet, clapping her hands. Mio slowly uses the ropes to rise up. Mia charges in– Mio raises the boots! Mia staggers, and Mio climbs the middle rope and dives off into a crossbody! NOPE! Mia catches her! She drops her to her feet, transitioning into an exploder suplex!
Flannery McCoy: Mia kips up right after that, and Inoue rolls to the corner, holding her back. Mia points at her trying to recover and she charges in with a corner clothesline! Inoue staggers out and Mia hits off the ropes, but Mio catches her with a drop toe hold into the middle rope!
Stew-O: Mio is up to her feet and she bounces off the ropes, looking to take advantage! But Mia pops right back up to her feet and leaps into a dropkick! Inoue is floored! A hot start for Mia Santoro thus far, her opponent hasn’t been able to get anything out tonight! Santoro drags Inoue up and cracks her with a knife edge chop! Inoue winces against the ropes, and Santoro with ANOTHER chop!
Flannery McCoy: She pulls her off of the ropes, taking the head. Once again, Mia Santoro looking for that vertical suplex… But Inoue floats behind! She takes the head and neck, trying for a rear naked choke! But Mia drives them backwards into the turnbuckles! Mia frees herself and takes the head, throwing her over her shoulder with a snapmare to the center of the ring!
Jake Mercer: Inoue trying her best to recover after being snapmared.. BUT MIA GETS HER WITH A SUPERKICK TO THE SIDE OF THE HEAD! Down she goes! Mia rolls Inoue over and pulls her right up to her feet. She tucks her head under her armpit and grabs the waist. She tosses her up, slamming her down to the side with a SAITO SUPLEX! Mio is out of it, while Santoro makes the cover!
Referee: OOOOONNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
Referee: TTTTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!
Stew-O: Kickout from Mio! That was a nasty saito suplex, no doubt, but a two count this early into the match does not bode well for her at all. Mia slowly rises up to her feet and drags Mio up, throwing her into the turnbuckles. Mia approaches her, with a big kick to the ribs! Another one! Inoue winces, getting battered.
Jake Mercer: I think Mia is trying to leave a stamp on this match, as he attempts to take Inoue to the top rope! But Mio kicks her away! Mia wobbles, and Mio dives off the top with a missile dropkick! Finally, some offense for Inoue! Mia rises and Mio drops her with a clothesline! Mia rises and Mio drops her with another one! Mia slowly gets back up and Mio takes the wrist, irish whipping her off!
Flannery McCoy: She swings high– and Mia catches the wrist! She spins Inoue out! Knee to the jaw stuns her! And now Mia bounces off the ropes for added momentum! ‘KILLING MOON!’ THE ROLLING WHEEL KICK PUTS INOUE OUT ONTO HER BACK! Mia nods her head, crawling over for the cover!
Referee: OOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!
Referee: TTTTTTTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
Jake Mercer: But Inoue raises her shoulder just in time! Mia slaps the mat, looking around. That was a close one, and I’m sure she wants this one over with already. Mia rises up, looking down at Inoue. She grabs her by the hair and stomps her right on the forehead! Mia reaches up, and Santoro stomps her head down again!
Flannery McCoy: Santoro hunches over to try and pick her up… But Inoue snags ahold of the head and the leg, tripping her down as she brings her to the mat for an INSIDE CRADLE! SHE HOOKS THE LEGS, PUSHING HER SHOULDERS DOWN AS TIGHT AS SHE POSSIBLY CAN!
Referee: OOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE–
Stew-O: She caught her off guard but it wasn’t enough! Quick kickout from Santoro! Both women are up and they have the same idea in mind! CLOTHESLINE! Both go down as quick as they got up! And now someone’s going to have to will themselves up here and keep it pushing! You can hear the crowd clapping, presumably for Santoro to get back up and get in this one!
Jake Mercer: They’re still down… Both women are trying their best to recover. Santoro is the healthier woman in this match, as she’s taken less damage so far. Santoro slowly pulls herself up, as does Inoue! Inoue throws an overhand right! Santoro wobbles, and now she throws another overhand right! Santoro reeling on the ropes!
Flannery McCoy: She snags a hold of the hair and throws her to the ropes! Inoue charges in for a kitchen sink, but Santoro spins around, countering it with a rollup! But she rolls her to her feet! Santoro rolls back to her feet as well and Inoue is caught off guard as she snags the head and runs up the ropes into a TORNADO DDT!
Stew-O: What a beautiful combination of moves! Inoue is clutching at the top of her head, lost and confused right now! Santoro claps her hands, calling for the crowd’s support, and they reciprocate greatly! She steps out of the ring, taking ahold of the top rope. She shakes the ropes, demanding that Inoue rise up to her feet!
Jake Mercer: Inoue slowly staggers up, holding her head. Santoro springboards up! AND SHE DIVES TO THE CENTER OF THE RING WITH A SPRINGBOARD THRUST KICK! DOWN GOES INOUE! AND SANTORO CRAWLS OVER, HOOKING THE LEGS FOR THE COVER! THIS COULD BE IT!
Referee: OOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!
Referee: TTTTTTTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
Stew-O: BARELY INOUE KICKS OUT! But I think Santoro has her eyes set on ending this one now! She rises up to her feet and slowly hunches over to pull Inoue up. Inoue claws at the hands, trying to break free– but who knows if it’s doing anything!
Jake Mercer: Santoro is still leaning her head down! No! Inoue wraps her hands around Santoro’s head and drives her down with a jawbreaker! Perfectly placed, as Santoro falls to a seated position. Inoue nods her head, pulling her up! She takes the head and neck, looking for that ‘Excorcist’s Soul’, a leg hook swinging neckbr–
Flannery McCoy: Nope! Santoro spins out! HEADBUTT! Inoue wobbles, and she swings for Santoro! Santoro ducks under and Inoue turns back– CUTTER TAKES HER DOWN! She’s out of it, and Santoro sees the opening for victory! She rolls her onto her back! Santoro marches to the ropes, taking them. She steps out of the ring and begins to walk over to the top rope. Inoue still isn’t moving!
Stew-O: Mia Santoro climbs all the way to the top of the rope! Some fans begin to rise with her! She looks around, calling for their approval! She turns and points down to Mio Inoue who is out of it… AND SHE LAUNCHES HERSELF OFF OF THE TOP! ‘CHASE THE FEELING’ INDEED! DIVING LEGDROP CONNECTS! HER LEG CRASHES RIGHT ONTO THE THROAT OF INOUE!
Jake Mercer: She’s coughing out in agony! But it’s no use! Santoro rolls over! She hooks the legs, pinning her shoulders down! That should be it right there!
Referee: OOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
Referee: TTTTTTTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
Referee: TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTHHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
(DING DING DING!)
Stephie Love: Here is your winner of this match, MIIIIAAAAA! SSSAANNNTTOORRROOOOO!!
(Santoro rises to her feet, taking a deep breath. The referee takes her arm and raises it up high. Mia slaps her chest, happy that she got the win. Santoro rolls out, tagging some fans on her way headed backstage.)
Stew-O: Impressive performance from Mia Santoro tonight! Mio Inoue was looking to make an example out of Santoro to boost her EAW career, but the exact opposite happened as Santoro leaves tonight looking good!
Flannery McCoy: She needed to get back on track and tonight she did exactly that! Inoue tried her best, but Santoro was simply operating on a different level and sometimes there’s not much you can learn from that.
Jake Mercer: There’s an opportunity to learn here for Mio, but this is certainly a massive boost for Santoro’s confidence and you gotta give it to her for that.
(Mia is more than happy with the outcome as she’s finally able to pick up some momentum for herself. She smiles before Dynasty fades to commercials.)
(A commercial plays for the Silent Hill 2 remake, featuring Drake King looking for Sierra Bradford.)
(Friday Night Dynasty’s video feed returns to the ring, where the crowd is cheering until ‘Pride and Arrogance’ by Takeru Kanazaki begins blaring through the speakers, turning their cheers to deafening boos in an instant. Drake Armstrong steps out from behind the curtains with a deep scowl on his face; he surveys the crowd’s reaction before scoffing and storming down the ramp towards the ring, ignoring the jeers from the fans lining the front row. His brown dress shoes clink against the steep steps as he makes his way into the squared circle, snatching a microphone from the ringside staff before gesturing for his music to cut off. Drake cuts off the boos of the crowd as he begins speaking.)
Drake Armstrong: Allow me to cut to the chase. One week prior, I was given the obvious position of airing my thoughts in a backstage interview; keep in mind, peasants, that it was MY interview and MY time to speak as I saw fit. And speak I did; I spoke on the poor excuse for a team that I was BURDENED with at Territorial Invasion, I spoke on Dynasty’s failure as a whole, and I even spoke on how far my old title has fallen since the current champion absconded with it.
Drake Armstrong: I was well within my rights to lambaste every individual that I did; Territorial Invasion was a wholly avoidable catastrophe if people were capable of thinking at the same higher brain pattern that I operate at. But that would be too convenient, wouldn’t it? Some of the blame is on me. Shame on me for thinking that there was ANYTHING salvageable in the putrid filth that permeates Dynasty’s roster. From top to bottom, I am the sole diamond that gleams amidst a land awash with fetid vermin. But even amongst those vermin, none are more CRETINOUS than the man who had the audacity to encroach upon my personal interview time and taint it with his presence.
Drake Armstrong: I’m speaking about YOU, Kirk Redwood! Of all the peasants that I degrade, none embody every attribute that I detest more than trailer park trash such as yourself. There are NONE of lower class, NONE of lower intelligence, and NONE more beneath me than the pitiful excuse of an ‘elitist’ that you are. How desperate must this company have been to have selected YOU to be a part of it? How low has this INDUSTRY fallen for you to count yourself amongst the cogs that make this machine run? Above all else, how IMBECILIC must you have been to think that I would allow you to walk away unscathed after the intense level of disrespect you showed me by daring to STAND in my presence? Some claim that the prison system’s intent is to rehabilitate the most lowly and unruly miscreants of society so that they may one day become something greater than the dirt stuck to the bottom of civilization’s boot.
Drake Armstrong: I, of course, know that prison is far more about extracting cheap labor from peasants whose value as a human being is worth nothing more than to be a cost cutting measure for business owners. However, in order to keep up the facade, I would have hoped that the few programs that DO exist would have instilled some sense into your shriveled up brain. Clearly and unfortunately, that is not the case. It was a waste of time to spend such effort on you. They SHOULD have worked you to the bone. They SHOULD HAVE JUST KEPT YOU LOCKED UP FOREVER! THEY-
(Drake clenches his teeth before taking a deep breath and adopting a more serene expression on his face, even chuckling a bit.)
Drake Armstrong: I needn’t get frustrated at this. There is a simple solution to the events of last week. The problem is that I set my expectations too high for a man like Kirk Redwood. He does not know how to act around a socialite like myself; how would he, given that he has only ever lived around other people of the same lowborn status? It is never too late to learn how to act. Let it never be said that I am not a generous man, for I am in a rather forgiving mood. Kirk was under the erroneous impression that he deserves to stand around someone like me, when in fact, he ought to be knelt down with his hands adjoined in worship. I will give you the opportunity to apologize and adjust your attitude so that you may act properly. Go on, then, show yourself and proceed with begging for my forgiveness! This is a rare chance to actually receive it; don’t let it go to waste.
(Surprisingly, Kirk Redwood actually does walk out onto the stage, causing the booing crowd to erupt with cheers! Kirk has an apologetic expression as he makes his way down the ramp with a microphone in his hands, before sliding under the bottom rope to join Drake in the ring. He makes his way up to Drake, who stands with a smug grin on his face, before beginning to speak.)
Kirk Redwood: Y’know, I was listening to you backstage, and… I see where you’re coming from. I mean, WHAT was I thinking when I DARED to interrupt you last week? That was so… what’s the word… ignoble of me, wasn’t it? So LOWBORN? The past week, I’ve been up at night just feeling so damn guilty for pulling that shit. I just couldn’t believe someone like me would ever be able to get near a rich man like you, so I panicked and didn’t know how to act. You want an apology, right?
Drake Armstrong: That is correct, Kirk. To be honest, I’m a bit shocked, but it seems you do have some semblance of gray matter lurking in that head of yours. Go ahead and dust it off so you can do the right thing. Beg for my forgiveness.
Kirk Redwood: Right. It just doesn’t sit well with me, what I did last week. I can’t believe I interrupted your interview. I can’t believe I had to get so close that I was able to see up close… how long of a stick you’ve got shoved up your ass.
Drake Armstrong :comeagain:
Kirk Redwood: Jesus, do you really talk that way? Do you really ACT that way on a daily basis? You brag a lot about your family, but your family must fucking HATE having to be around someone with an ego the size of the sun. You spent so much time memorizing a thesaurus as a little brat that you never got to learn what it’s like to be a REAL PERSON. Even an ‘ex-con’ like me, as you put it, holds the respect of the fans here… something you could never have no matter how much you tried. I would rather serve a hundred more sentences in prison than EVER be like you. No amount of money would be worth becoming a piece of shit like Drake Armstrong.
(The serene expression left Drake’s face as Kirk hurled insult after insult, and he started gritting his teeth again as his fists clenched.)
Kirk Redwood: I don’t know how to act? ME? Every brand you’ve been on, you’ve turned the general managers against you because NOBODY LIKES YOU! You’re a waste of space that can make people hate you in a matter of minutes. Every ‘lowborn peasant’ I grew up with is worth more as people than you; hell, I’d value a fucking cockroach more than you. You–
(Before Kirk could finish his thought, Drake lunged forward and attempted to sucker punch Kirk, but the Dog of War saw it coming!)
Stew-O: KIRK DUCKS UNDERNEATH! Drake turns around as he looks to go for it again, but Kirk is running in the other direction! Drake rushes forward, trying to catch Kirk as he seems to be running away–
Flannery McCoy: BUT HE’S NOT! HE JUST JUMPED ONTO THE SPRINGBOARD AND SPRUNG HIS WAY BACK TOWARDS DRAKE!
Jake Mercer: GET OUT OF THE WAY, DRAKE!
Stew-O: BUT IT’S TOO LATE! THE .50 CAL LANDS AS KIRK REDWOOD KNOCKS DRAKE TO THE CANVAS WITH HIS FINISHING MANEUVER, THAT SPRINGBOARD SUPERMAN PUNCH! DRAKE IS DOWN! DRAKE IS DOWN!
(Sinister Purpose by Creedence Clearwater Revival begins playing to loud cheers as Kirk stands over a stunned Drake laid out on the canvas, holding his jaw in pain after having been knocked silly by Redwood. He stands tall over Drake, looking down at him, as the video feed slowly fades to black.)
(Dynasty cuts from the ring, but instead of its planned schedule, we took a weird trip backstage, finding none other than Myles and Minerva. The 2 Hall Of Famers were in their locker room, as the anticipation looming in the room was a lot of more unfortunate circumstances. Myles sat there as Minerva stood up, speaking, and Myles listened.)
Minerva: I still am looking back at what went down a few weeks ago. The last little bit has been nothing short of constant brewing chaos happening day in, and day out. It’s hard to truly expect anything when this last month and a half has been curve ball after curve ball…
Myles: It hasn’t been quiet, but at the same time, I anticipate all of this as the World Heavyweight champion. Peace is never the option, only the brief moment we are granted. And at the end of the day, the way I see it is, these last few weeks have left a lot to be desired. From the disappointment at War Games, that really did strike the nail in the unfortunate coffin, to the weird threats that were presented from Drake King last week. Were those threats? Or was it a heat of the moment situation, I have no idea. But I do know what Drake can be, a ticking time bomb. But this isn’t our first song and dance.
Minerva: We are always prepared for that situation to become haywire. But I have sheer disappointment with myself at the same time — the door was opened for Drake King to step back in, reluctantly, he stepped in. What was the circulating result? He has been showing his true colors again. As soon as something did not fit the story he wanted to tell. As soon as the narrative flipped out of his favor, there he was. Drake King; back to his sick and maniacal ways.
(Minerva said with disappointment in her voice. Myles agreed with her, as they nodded their heads.)
Myles: That is the thing. True colors come out when the people you are using for your own personal gain, stumble a little bit. If there was humanity in Drake King, he would have been able to see what happened at Territorial Invasion. He would have seen how when we were that close to victory outside circumstances made themselves apparent.
Minerva: It’s just too difficult to tell right now, but I say we just have our finger on the trigger. You never know when that knife may end up in our back first, rather safe than sorry.
(Both Myles and Minerva could agree on that, but suddenly, Minerva raised an eyebrow as Myles stood up.)
Myles: Well it seems as If I need to go ahead and put Drake in his place then, since he wants to start acting like this all of a sudden. Shut him down before all the chaos starts back up again..
Minerva: Hang on, hang on.. I need you to listen to me, for a second before getting ahead of yourself.
(Minerva stood up, as she tried to stop Myles and sit him back down. He wasn’t obliging much, but he just looked. at her.)
Minerva: That is too much on your plate for you to deal with. Focus on what YOU have in store ahead of you. I already plan on dealing with this situation, and you have your own set of problems. Joso is out there wanting to see you like this. He wants to see your focus bent on something that is not him..
Myles: I just want to make sure everything is alright, I don’t wanna step over and push any unnecessary boundaries…
Minerva: Then you should oblige and do what I want, please…
(Myles took a deep breath, as he looked at Minerva. Lots of things were bolstering through his head, but he only nodded.)
Myles: I guess I’ll let you have this one. My match with Joso should be #1 priority right now. And I am not focusing on that, and that will be my downfall. I gotta do better at thinking clearly; I need to think straight most of all. So yeah, I’m not gonna worry about it right now. We are too close till House Of Glass, I’ll worry about that once we are past.
Minerva: Perfect, see? You still have too much great stuff to do during your reign as champion! You should not go out there and shoot yourself in the foot because of this. Focus on Joso, I got Drake. And if I need backup, which I don’t think I will. All I’m going to do is be vocal. But even then after House Of Glass — you’ll know what to do if that’s the case.
Myles: You do have a way of convincing, I have no doubts that you will handle this firmly. If Drake obliges, that’s the question. You never know..
Minerva: It’s a can of worms that are just waiting to be opened. But again, I don’t want a single second of you stressing over this. Any moment that you don’t dedicate towards Joso will disappoint me.
Myles: Alrighty, I understand. And I have completely dropped it, my entire focus is getting some well earned revenge on him.
Minerva: Perfect, now if you don’t mind do you think you could go out and get me an energy drink?
Myles: Sure thing, I have no problem with that.
(Myles and Minerva shared a smile, as Myles opened the door and stepped out of the room. The World Heavyweight Champion, taking a pandering look around.. simply sighed.)
Myles: There’s a lot to question and figure out about now.
(With that stated, Myles walked off. But as he walked out of the scene, the camera only stayed focused. In the far back of the scene Drake King stood listening into the conversation between Myles and Minerva. Nodding his head as he calmly said to himself…)
Drake King: Interesting..
(With that said, and the plot only thickening, the scene would fade from there…)
Stephie Love: Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for ONE FALL!
Crowd: ONE FALL!!!
(‘Give It Away’ by Red Hot Chili Peppers hits the PA speakers, and Jay Starr marches out from the back, flaunting his designer coat and sunglasses. He tilts them down as he struts down the ramp, ignoring the look of the fans. He runs up the steps, opening his coat to show off his abs, and then he enters the ring and climbs the middle rope, posing up there.)
Stephie Love: Introducing first, from Las Vegas, Nevada, weighing in at 218 pounds, he is the “SUPER-STARR”, JAAAYYY! STTTAARRRRRRR!!!
Stew-O: We’ve got a debut coming up tonight, as Jay Starr looks to leave a huge mark on EAW with hopes to start strong with a victory! The “Super-starr” he calls himself, there is no better platform to try and live up to that moniker than here on Dynasty, but it’s all up to him to do so.
Flannery McCoy: He’s sure to showcase his good looks, but what he’s going to need to be focused on is showcasing his ability in the ring tonight. And this is certainly a great test for him to do so.
Jake Mercer: It’s to my understanding that Starr has a strong athletic background, being part of his high school’s track and field team. If he can translate that agility and stamina to a wrestling ring– which isn’t very easy for most to do, I could see that playing a factor in tonight and future matches for him.
(‘Unreal’ by Chaoseum replaces Starr’s theme, and the lights in the arena strobe red and black. Issac Crow creeps from the back, storming down to the ring. Issac stares at Starr, stopping at the apron. He takes the ropes and pulls himself up to the apron, then in the ring where he throws his arms up, yelling out.)
Stephie Love: His opponent, from Parts Unknown, weighing in at 225 pounds, he is “THE FALLEN ANGEL!” ISSSACCCC! CCCRRROOOWWWWWWWW!!!
Flannery McCoy: Issac Crow knows a lot about going up against new Elitists, though! Last week he took on Mio Inoue and took the victory in convincing fashion. It may be a new face, but certainly Issac knows how to take advantage of someone’s nerves in their debut match.
Stew-O: And coming off that victory, he’s been on a strong run as of late. Territorial Invasion was just a slight setback for what seems to be a promising career here on Friday nights.
Jake Mercer: You can’t take anything away from this guy. He continues to get better and better, and tonight may not be any different. Issac is just as imposing as he is talented. If there’s someone that you need to look out for here on Dynasty? Without a doubt, it’s him.
(DING DING DING!)
Stew-O: Both men circle around the ring, trying to get a good feel for each other. They snap into a collar and elbow tie-up, and Crow transitions to a headlock. He has it in deep, forcing Starr to struggle. He takes the waist and brings him to the ropes, sending him off! No! Crow skids to a halt, bringing him down to a kneel and keeping that headlock in.
Jake Mercer: Starr is trying his hardest to get out of this headlock, but Crow is really making him work for it. He tugs on the head, squeezing his biceps to try and drain all of the air out of Starr’s lungs. Starr reaches for the wrists, doing his best to pry his way out of this hold. But Crow has a tight grip, no doubt
Stew-O: Crow begins to start working him to his stomach. Jay reaches out, wincing. Crow is wrenching back on the neck, and you can see the discomfort in Starr’s eyes. Issac begins to pull backwards, but Starr grabs the waist and rolls him to his shoulders, for our first cover of the match!
Referee: OOOOOOONNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEE!!
Flannery McCoy: No! Crow rolls to the side, keeping the headlock in. But the fact that he had to release a bit of his leverage allows Starr to start working his way up to his feet. He brings Issac off to the ropes and shoots him off! Both men charge into each other, but Issac floors Starr with a nasty shoulderblock! Every single time, Issac gets the advantage!
Stew-O: He hits off the ropes to follow up, but Starr rises and drops back down to try and trip him! Issac leaps over his body, but Starr is up and he catches Issac off guard with a leapfrog! Issac comes back around, and Starr drops him with a dropkick! Beautifully executed, and now he’s getting some momentum flowing in this matchup!
Jake Mercer: Issac uses the ropes to recover against the turnbuckles… But Starr dives at him with a forearm smash against the turnbuckles! He guides him out by the wrist and twirls under, applying a hammerlock. Starr digs his body into that wrist of Issac, giving him very little room to try and get out of this.
Flannery McCoy: He’s got one arm right now! Starr is really working on that wrist! Issac reaches to the ropes but he can’t get them! Starr starts to try and work him down to a knee– Issac spins out into a drop toe hold into the middle ropes! Starr’s throat bounces off the ropes and he whiplashes off to the canvas.
Jake Mercer: Crow hits off the ropes for momentum! He leaps into an elbow drop at the– NO! Starr rolls out of the ring just in time! Surprisingly great ring awareness for a rookie! Starr rises up onto the apron, calling for him to rise! He springboards up! AND DIVES INTO A CLOTHESLINE!
Stew-O: He takes him down with that clothesline but he’s far from finished! Starr steps out of the ring again, this time climbing up the middle rope, and then all the way to the very top. Issac slowly pushes himself up, nursing his jaw. Starr dives off with a CROSSBODY!
Jake Mercer: Not for long! Issac catches the body and rolls through! He deadlifts him up, ridiculous strength from Issac! He hoists him into the air, tossing him with a fallaway slam! Starr’s body crashes into the canvas as he gets sent flying and he lays there, whelping out in agony. Starr leans against the ropes. He tries to roll out again– but Issac grabs his legs and drags him back in this time!
Flannery McCoy: He yanks Starr back up to his feet and meets him with a punch to the jaw. Starr falls to the ropes, clearly on wobbly legs. Issac takes him by the wrist and irish whips him off. He hoists him up, slamming him into the canvas for a spinebuster! Issac rises right after, bouncing off the ropes with a legdrop right on the throat! He rolls him over and hooks the legs!
Referee: OOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!
Referee: TTTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWWWW–
Stew-O: Kicks out right before two! Starr showing some fight here! Issac drags him up and delivers a knee to the ribs. And then another one! He grabs the wrist and scoops him up onto his shoulders, but Starr delivers an elbow to the side of the head! Another elbow! Starr slips off to his feet and as Issac is hunched over, checking his jaw… Starr cracks him with an upkick!
Flannery McCoy: Starr sets up a step-up enzuigiri, but Issac ducks his head and Starr lands onto his face! He kneels up, and Issac bounces off the ropes with a curb stomp in mind! But surprisingly, Starr had it scouted out! He evades it and trips Issac onto his back! Starr nods, trying to leap into a standing frog splash, but it’s Issac who rolls out of the way this time!
Jake Mercer: The athleticism of Starr is on full display, as he lands that and rolls through to his feet instead of falling onto his stomach. But as he comes back, Crow scoops him up and drops him with a backbreaker! He lifts him right back up, and looks to throw him into the buckles face first! STARR LANDS ONTO THE MIDDLE ROPE THOUGH, STOPPING HIS HEAD FROM HITTING THE BUCKLE!
Flannery McCoy: Crow charges in and Starr back kicks him! Crow holds his jaw in agony, and Starr flings backwards into a spinning crossbody! Down goes Crow! He rises up and Starr calls him up! He hits off the ropes for added momentum! SPINNING WHEEL KICK! And he goes straight to the cover!
Referee: OOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
Referee: TTTTTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!
Stew-O: Kick out from Crow! But he’s going to have to seriously recover! Starr claps his hands and Crow slowly rises up… Starr clotheslines him over to the outside! Crow hits the floor, holding his head. Starr turns, pointing to the ropes as he’s ready to run across– but Crow grabs his legs and drags him out of the ring!
Jake Mercer: Crow takes Starr by the hair and throws him back first into the barricades! Starr bounces off the barricades. Crow takes him by the legs and lifts him high, his knees pressing against his shoulder… And he drops backwards into a flapjack onto the apron! Starr’s movie star looks may have gotten ruined there!
Flannery McCoy: I would hate that for him. Crow drags Starr up and throws him into the ring. He enters the ring and pushes himself up to the middle rope. He points down to Starr, nodding profusely. ‘DEATH’S TOUCH!’ THE DIVING FIST DROP CONNECTS! RIGHT ON THE TOP OF THE HEAD! STARR IS OUT OF IT, AND CROW HOOKS THE LEGS!
Referee: OOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
Referee: TTTTTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!
Referee: TTTTTTTTTHHHHHHH–
Stew-O: NOPE! STARR STILL FINDS A WAY TO KICK OUT! Great endurance for the rookie, he’s already showing his ability to handle Issac Crow’s tougher moves! For a second, Issac is contemplating how to handle this one! Starr struggles, while Issac rises and stomps him down!
Flannery McCoy: He mounts Starr, taking him by the hair and raining down closed fist punches to the head! Starr is getting battered right now! He does his best to try and cover up, but it’s no use! Punch after punch! Issac grabs his hair and slams the back of his head into the canvas! Starr tries to rise, but Issac stomps him in the chest!
Jake Mercer: He drags him up, looking at him. Crow scoops Starr onto his shoulder, looking to try and drive him out of the ring– but Star slips off just in time! He takes the waistband and pulls him down into a schoolboy rollup!
Referee: OOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!
Referee: TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
Stew-O: KICK OUT FROM Crow! Both men rise and Crow tries for a boot, but Starr catches the leg and swings him out! He cracks him with a forearm smash! And then a chop to the chest! Another chop! And he takes the wrist of Crow, sending him off to the ropes. Starr charges in, leaping onto his knees for potentially a monkey flip, but Crow holds onto his legs and sends him over to the apron!
Jake Mercer: I think Crow believes he sent Starr all the way to the outside! He has a relieved expression on his face as he looks back, and he turns right into an enzuigiri from Starr! Now Crow is staggering! Starr springboards up! HE TRIES FOR A SPRINGBOARD DROPKICK BUT CROW BACK STEPS, CATCHING THE LEGS! Starr lands onto his back and he wheezes out!
Flannery McCoy: He digs his legs in between, looking to flip him over into the ‘GAME OVER!’ But Starr begins wiggling! He knew that this was coming! Crow struggles, and Starr begins to free the leg! Issac tries to get him down again, but Starr kicks him backwards! Crow falls away, holding his back.
Stew-O: Crow slowly rises, and Starr kicks him hard in the gut! He snags the head in a cravate, raising his arm up! ‘UNDER THE SUN!’ THE CORKSCREW NECKBREAKER CONNECTS! BEAUTIFULLY DONE! STARR SCRAMBLES OVER TO THE COVER! WHAT AN UPSET THIS COULD BE!
Referee: OOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
Referee: TTTTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
Referee: TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE—
Jake Mercer: ISSAC CROW KICKS OUT JUST IN TIME! What a close one that was! And Starr is looking to the referee, almost in disbelief! He thought that he had the match won right there, but clearly not!
Jay Starr: (off-mic) WHAT?! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! HOW WAS THAT NOT THREE!?
Referee: (off-mic) I’m sorry Starr, only a two count!
Stew-O: He keeps slapping the mat over and over! Jay Starr needs to remain focused! He reaches down for Crow, but Crow pulls him into the middle turnbuckle! Starr bounces off, clutching his mouth in agony. Behind him, Issac Crow is hitting off the ropes at high speed! STARR, YOU MIGHT NOT WANT TO TURN AROUND!
Flannery McCoy: It’s far too late for that! He turns– and HE GETS DROPPED BY THE ‘COMATOSE!’ AXE HANDLE STRAIGHT TO THE JAW! IT TURNS STARR INSIDE OUT, AS CROW’S HUGE HANDS MAY HAVE NEARLY BROKEN IT! He rolls him over and hooks the legs!
Referee: OOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
Referee: TTTTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
Referee: TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE—
Jake Mercer: KICK OUT FROM JAY STARR! SOMEHOW HE IS STILL IN THIS! He’s kicked out of Death’s Touch AND Comatose! That is beyond impressive for a guy who’s just gotten here, you have to give him that! Starr is laid out in the center of the ring, and Crow rises, looking down at him…
Stew-O: I think he really is contemplating how to end this! Crow steps out of the ring, slowly ascending up to the very top rope… He looks around, perched up top. He begins to stand, his feet being held up by the ropes. He stares down at Starr, who is showing no signs of life…
Flannery McCoy: AND HE DIVES OFF THE TOP ROPE WITH ‘NO FEAR!’ DIVING ELBOW DROP TO THE CHEST– NO! STARR MOVES OUT OF THE WAY AT THE VERY LAST SECOND! CROW’S ELBOW HITS THE CANVAS HARD! He holds his elbow, headbutting the mat in agony! Crow is holding at that arm, meanwhile Starr is up and he dropkicks it!
Stew-O: Crow falls into the turnbuckles across the ring from where he climbed up! Starr follows him and he starts raining down punches from everywhere! Crow covers up to the best of his ability, but he keeps stomping him out! The referee enforces his count!
Referee: (off-mic) ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR! COME ON! GET OFF!
Jake Mercer: HE KEEPS STOMPING! THE REFEREE HAS TO INTERVENE, GRABBING HIS WAIST AND PULLING HIM AWAY! Crow is flattened in the corner, and Starr leaps into a hesitation dropkick! The fire of this young man is on full display! He drags him out of the corner, and NOW he calls for the end!
Flannery McCoy: Huge kick to the gut, hunching Crow over! Starr hits off the ropes! HE LEAPS INTO THE ‘STARRSTRUCK!’ NO! CROW RAISES HIS HEAD UP AND CATCHES STARR ON HIS BACK IN THE AIR! HE’S GOT HIM IN THE ARGENTINE RACK POSITION!
Stew-O: Starr is punching at the head of Crow, over and over! He reaches his hand down, trying to dig his fingers into his eyes or his nose in a desperate attempt to hold on– ‘DEATH’S DOOR!’ HE DROPS HIM RIGHT ONTO HIS NECK! STARR IS UNCONSCIOUS! CROW ROLLS HIM OVER AND HOOKS THE LEGS!
Referee: OOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
Referee: TTTTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
Referee: TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
(DING DING DING!)
Stephie Love: Here is your winner of this match, ISSSAAAAACCC CCCRRROOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWW!!!
(Crow sits up, grabbing at his arm. He looks to the downed Jay Starr and nods his head, acknowledging the battle they went through. He rises to his feet and allows the referee to raise his good arm. Crow backs away, exiting out of the ring to celebrate his win.)
Jake Mercer: What a match! Issac Crow leaves with yet another victory, as he continues to make a name for himself on Dynasty, showing great ability at handling adversity and taking that victory when Starr thought he had it!
Flannery McCoy: You have to give credit to Jay Starr as well. Issac Crow has been here for quite some time, and Starr made sure to take him to his limit. That was a great performance without a doubt, and the sky’s the limit for him.
Stew-O: Absolutely! Jay Starr gave it his all tonight, and there’s a lot of promise for him if he’s able to keep at it. At the end though, you’ve gotta focus on Issac Crow who left with the win. I can only imagine what comes next for him from here.
(With Issac scoring back-to-back wins, he looks pleased. Then, we go backstage as the cameras trail behind Myles once more, balancing a few energy drinks in his arms, eyeing the labels with a hint of disbelief.)
Myles: Zero sugar… probiotics? Seriously? Just eat some vegetables if you’re worried about that. Well, at least the flavors sound decent.
(He continues down the hallway, approaching the locker room. The door is slightly ajar, a faint strip of light casting uneven shadows across the floor.)
Myles: That’s weird… did she head out?
(He pushes the door open wider and steps inside.)
Myles: Siobhan? I—
(The moment he steps in, his breath catches in his throat. His eyes widen in horror as he takes in the scene. The cans of energy drinks slip from his grasp, hitting the ground with a hollow clatter.)
Myles: No… no, no, no, no…
(Minerva is sprawled on the floor, motionless, her skin pale under the harsh fluorescent lights. Blood trickles from a gash on her forehead, staining her orange hair. Heart pounding, Myles rushes to her side, dropping to his knees as dread seizes him.)
Myles: Oh God, no! What the hell… what the fuck happened?
(Kneeling down besides her, his hands trembling as he gently lifts her head.)
Myles: Siobhan, wake up! Please, wake up!
(He brushes her hair from her face, his fingers sticky with blood. He checks for a pulse, desperation mounting as seconds feel like hours. There’s a faint beat beneath his fingertips — weak, but there. Relief floods his system, but it’s quickly swallowed by the overwhelming dread that follows.)
(But that dread then turns into anger.)
(There was only one person who was responsible for this.)
Myles: That stupid fucker..!!
(At that point, Myles couldn’t contain himself.)
Myles: HELP!! SOMEBODY GET ME SOME HELP!!
(It was the only thing he could say at that moment. He kept screaming and screaming before his voice cracked, throat raw from the strain. Desperation clawed at him, but underneath it, the fury was rising, hot, violent, and uncontrollable. At the very least, help soon came as members of the medical team came rushing into the locker room, their footsteps echoing through the narrow hallway. Myles barely registered their arrival at first, his mind still trapped in that whirlwind of rage and fear. Two paramedics quickly knelt beside Minerva, assessing her injuries with calm efficiency. One of them gently moved Myles aside, but he resisted for a moment, unwilling to leave her side. He clenched his fists, forcing himself to step back, his chest heaving with labored breaths.)
Paramedic: Sir, we’ve got this. Please, give us some space.
(Myles backed up, eyes never leaving Minerva’s still form as they lifted her onto a stretcher. His hands twitched with the need to do something, anything, but all he could do was watch helplessly as they worked. One of the paramedics pressed gauze to the wound on her forehead, trying to staunch the bleeding, while the other checked her vitals.)
Myles: (voice barely above a whisper) Is she going to be okay?
(The paramedic didn’t answer right away, too focused on stabilizing her, and that silence only fueled the growing fire inside him. Myles’s jaw clenched so tightly he thought his teeth might crack. His thoughts spiraled, zeroing in on the one person responsible for this.)
(Him.)
(There was no doubt in his mind now.)
Paramedic: We’re taking her to the hospital. She’s stable, but we need to move fast.
(As they wheeled Minerva toward the door, Myles followed, his fists still clenched, knuckles white. But even as the paramedics pushed her stretcher down the hallway, the inferno inside him roared to life. A part of him wanted to leave with Minerva, but he knew that it would only give the bastard who did this some reprieve after his heinous actions, and that was something he couldn’t afford. As painstaking as it was, he watched the medical crew wheel Minerva out of sight. His grip tightened, nails biting into his palms, the pain barely cutting through the whirlwind of rage inside him.)
Myles: You’re not getting away with this.
(He turned, walking swiftly in the opposite direction, away from the medics and the chaos. There was only one thing on his mind now: revenge.)
Myles: I’m coming for you…
(Myles continues to storm ahead before the cameras fade back to ringside. The fans in attendance all look on, shocked and distraught in their own right. As the shot fell onto Stew-O, Jake Mercer and Flannery McCoy, all three of the Dynasty broadcasters looked taken aback themselves.)
Stew-O: Ladies and gentlemen, we… we’re not even sure what to say right now. We all just witnessed something truly disturbing, and our thoughts are with Minerva after that horrifying attack backstage.
Jake Mercer: This wasn’t supposed to happen. I mean, we’ve seen some brutal things here in Dynasty, but an attack like that? Out of nowhere? Minerva’s one of the toughest competitors we’ve got, but seeing her like that… I’m speechless.
Flannery McCoy: As am I, but… I think we all know exactly who it was that was responsible for all of this.
Stew-O: It doesn’t take a genius. Still, we will do our best to keep all of you updated on her condition once we are able to get the information necessary right away.
Jake Mercer: Damn. The House of Glass build-up vibes have truly been killed. 😔
Flannery McCoy: It truly is disturbing. However, right now, the show continues on, and it seems like Fire & Ice are ready for House of Glass themselves.
(Friday Night Dynasty returns to show a panaround shot of the Indira Gandhi Arena, with the crowd bustling in anticipation for the action to come in what has already been a jam packed show. It’s not long after that before they’re greeted by the sounds of ‘I2I’ by Magnolia Park which blasts through the speakers. The crowd immediately erupts into cheers as the camera goes over to reveal Rex McAllister and Raven Roberts as they make their way out from the backstage area. Fire & Ice is here as they stand on the stage, united under a gleaming spotlight, as they look to one another with calmed expressions on their face, with something clearly on their mind as they begin to make their way down the ramp and toward the ring.)
Stephie Love: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome… RAVEN ROBERTS AND REX MCALLISTER!!!!!!!!!! FIRE & ICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Stew-O: Well, as we all already know, Fire & Ice are coming off of a crushing defeat against The Jaded Hearts with the Unified Tag Team Championships on the line at Territorial Invasion. While we heard their initial thoughts on the matter last week, it seems as though they’re not particularly done, as they’re heading out here once more with more on their mind.
Flannery McCoy: Well, House of Glass is coming up, and knowing the type of competitors that they are I am certain that Rex and Raven are going to want to get themselves involved with the festivities. There’s a lot of options they can go to, and a lot of opponents that Fire & Ice as a team can face, but I guess we’re going to have to see what’s on their mind as they head down here tonight.
Jake Mercer: Personally, I got a list of talent that they could face! I never go wrong with my decision making skills! Where do I even begin…
Stew-O: I think we’re good.
(Rex and Raven both make their way into the ring, where they climb up to opposite turnbuckles and hype up the crowd who continue to get loud for the team. From there, they jump down and head over to get microphones for themselves while ‘I2I’ then begins to come to a close. Fire & Ice then, standing at the center of the ring, take a moment before they both begin to speak.)
Rex McAllister: Although Fire & Ice may not have been able to become Unified Tag Team Champions at Territorial Invasion, I think Raven and I made it clear last week that our journey toward becoming Champions again is far from over.
Raven Roberts: It would be easy for us to feel defeated, to be dejected after what happened, but it’s like we said, there’s no point in getting upset about all of this. If the two of us know anything, it’s that persistence is key, and especially in EAW, one loss doesn’t mean the end of the world. Opportunities are always going to arise and, most importantly, we want to make sure that the next time we get a shot at titles, whether as a team or by ourselves, there is going to be no doubt in anyone’s minds that we are worthy of being challengers and, of course, winners.
Rex McAllister: But you already know that to be true, hell, we already told you that beforehand, so let’s cut to the chase because there is a reason why we’re out here tonight. It seems like the fighting spirit bug has taken over EAW recently, from what we’ve seen, a lot of Elitists across all three brands are looking for people to step up to them. We’ve had a goal from the very beginning, beyond when Fire & Ice first reunited this Season, and that was to cement us as one of the best tag teams that Elite Answers Wrestling has ever seen. While that’s not something that’s instantaneous, it’s something that we feel we get closer and closer to every time we step into the ring. We know that we’re fully capable of that, we have been at those heights before, and now we’re looking to go even further.
Raven Roberts: Which leads us to the next step for Fire & Ice, our absolutely full intentions especially since House of Glass is getting closer and closer. We’ve decided to put it out there that we are holding an open challenge for any pairing to face us at the Marquee Event!
(The crowd erupts upon hearing this, to which Rex and Raven respond with smiles on their faces as they scan around. It’s not long after that before they continue onward.)
Rex McAllister: We know that in order to be up for this task, we’re going to have to beat any single duo who is going to stand in our way. That is something that we know that we can do, that we’ve been up to the task for since the very beginning, and now that our goals to become Unified Tag Team Champions burn brighter than ever, we have to take that next step as a tag team. Because while we evolve, so does the division. New tag teams come into the fold all the time, and with that we’re going to have to make sure that we’re undoubtedly head and shoulders over the rest of the competition in order to prepare for that.
Raven Roberts: We know that the journey is far from over, in fact, it’s only just begun. And I feel as though it’s only a matter of time before Fire & Ice get ourselves back in the equation, and it starts at House of Glass.
(Fire & Ice drop their microphones down to the ground as ‘I2I’ begins to play through the speakers of the arena once more. Then, looking quite satisfied with their decision as a team, begin to make their way out of the ring from there.)
Jake Mercer: Well, I guess I’m not going to have to choose their team for them, because Fire & Ice officially have an open challenge set for House of Glass!
Flannery McCoy: They didn’t need your ideas anyway.
Stew-O: Well regardless I think it’s going to be interesting to see who answers the call come House of Glass. They did mention that there’s been a string of Elitists from all three brands interacting with one another. It’s going to be nice to see if someone from Showdown or Voltage answers the call, but we’re just going to have to see!
(Rex and Raven make their way up the ramp as they high five the fans in the front row, it’s the last shot seen before Friday Night Dynasty, from there, fades to elsewhere.)
(A commercial plays for the 2025 Super Bowl, featuring Kendrick Lamar and Joso.)
(‘Carnival’ by Ty Dolla $ign, Ye and ¥$ begins to play through the speakers, garnering mixed receptions from the fans. Shortly after, Nejari Young comes out from the back, more than hyped up, trying to hype up the crowd on the way to the ring. )
Stephie Love: THE FOLLOWING MATCH IS SCHEDULED FOR ONE FALL —
Crowd: ONE FALL!!!!!!
Stephie Love: INTRODUCING FIRST…FROM SHREVEPORT, LOUISIANA…WEIGHING IN AT THE WEIGHT OF 228 POUNDS… HE IS THE ‘WALKING MAIN EVENT’…NEJARI YOUNG!!!!!!!!
Stew-O: Nejari Young is making his EAW debut tonight! Now, he is what he calls himself the perfect example of how you can take the person out of the hood, but you can’t take the hood out of the person. He’s gritty. Someone that can brawl with the best of them.He can go toe-to-toe with the best and he’s looking to prove that on Dynasty!
Flannery McCoy: Honestly, we’re all aware of people looking down on professional wrestling as we tend to get older. But, Nejari Young is that one kid that is almost living a childhood dream here. He wants to show everyone that wrestling is still cool. By seeing someone like him make it, it can be awesome!
Jake Mercer: He has a tough opponent to face in Clayton Golde, someone who tends to like this spotlight as well! Clayton has been looking to climb up the ranks as well, but will Nejari Young put a stop to that this week? We’ll have to wait and see!
(‘Betty [Get Money]’ by Yung Gravy begins to blast through the speakers ass the crowd begins to boo at Clayton Golde, who comes out with his new iPhone 16 Pro, doing an Instagram live stream on his way to the ring.)
Stephie Love: INTRODUCING HIS OPPONENT…FROM AN UNDISCLOSED LOCATION IN ROMANIA…WEIGHING IN AT 210 POUNDS… ‘THE GOLDEN GOD’…CLAYTON GOLDE!!!!!!
Stew-O: Last week, Clayton Golde was able to capture the victory over Mikhaila Barra. This week, he looks to continue his rise on the Dynasty brand with a victory against Nejari Young. Now, Flannery, I know that you have some opinions on Clayton Golde that have been brewing over the past few weeks.
Flannery McCoy: Full of himself, white version of Andrew Tate, someone who needs to be humbled. I’m always looking for people to get the job done. Is it going to be Nejari Young that gets the job done? I honestly don’t know, but this should be an interesting showdown.
Jake Mercer: Clayton Golde has experience on his side, Flann! He’s been here a little longer. He’s aware of how things work around here in EAW! He is going to have a great time showing Nejari Young the pecking order here!
(DING! DING! DING!)
Stew-O: NEJARI YOUNG CATCHES CLAYTON GOLDE BY SURPRISE BY NAILING A DROPKICK THAT SENDS ‘THE GOLDEN GOD’ BACK TO THE CORNER! NEJARI RUNS RIGHT AFTER CLAYTON, CONNECTING WITH A SERIES OF MUDHOLE STOMPS TO THE GUT OF CLAYTON! I DON’T THINK THAT CLAYTON WAS EXPECTING THIS WHATSOEVER! NEJARI PICKS HIM UP FROM UNDERNEATH HIS CHIN! THEN, HE GETS INTO POSITION BEFORE CONNECTING WITH A LOUD CHOP TO THE CHEST OF CLAYTON! This causes Clayton to collapse to a seated position on the second rope! Nejari connects with another chop to the chest! He grabs Clayton by the arm before looking to whip him to the corner diagonally from them!
Flannery McCoy: Clayton Golde goes cashing on that corner as Nejari Young goes right after him with a running uppercut! This sends Clayton forward as Nejari connects with a sidewalk slam! He goes for the quick cover, looking to make quick work out of Clayton!
ONE! TWO!
Jake Mercer: It seems like the referee is no fan of Clayton Golde as that count was fast! No free clout for that referee as Clayton manages to get a shoulder up! Nejari Young rises to his feet as he waits for Clayton to find himself in a seated position! Then, Nejari runs right after him with a penalty kick to the spine! But, Clayton saw that penalty kick coming! He shifts his body to the side as he manages to chop behind the neck of Nejari! He takes him down as Clayton begins to connect with left and right punches to the face of Nejari! He is looking to show the newcomer what is up, guys! He takes Nejari up to his feet by grabbing underneath his chin! You can see a bit of trash talking by Clayton! Clayton connects with a kick to the gut of Nejari before pulling him closer, setting him up and connecting with a fisherman’s suplex as he floats over for the cover!
OOOOOOONNNNNNNEEEEEEE!!!!!
TTTTWWWWW—
Stew-O: Nejari Young with a kick out! Clayton Golde sits up Nejari before connecting with a chin lock! It seems like Clayton is mocking the situation that Nejari is in! Clayton is telling Nejari to “smile for the camera” as they both look at the hard camera!
Flannery McCoy: Just straight up disrespectful! Clayton Golde wrenches in the chin lock even more, adding onto that pain as Clayton is giving off that ugly grin of his! Not even a smile that a mother could love! Clayton begins to connect with a chokehold on Nejari Young as he raises him back to his feet! But, we see that Nejari is connecting with some elbows to the gut of Clayton! After a couple of elbows, Clayton releases his hold! Nejari heads to the ropes and rebounds off of them as he looks to take Clayton’s head off with a clothesline! BUT, CLAYTON DUCKS THE CLOTHESLINE AS HE TAKES NEJARI DOWN WITH A REVERSE BULLDOG! THE NECK GETS SPIKED TO THE MAT AS CLAYTON RISES TO HIS FEET AS HE HAS HIS ARMS OUT OPEN IN CONFIDENCE!
Stew-O: I don’t think that the crowd is too crazy about that. At the same time, this is the crowd’s first time getting a good look at Nejari Young. This is Nejari’s shot in getting the crowd behind him! Clayton takes Nejari to the ropes! He drapes his head to the second rope as Clayton begins to choke out Nejari! Nejari has no way to defend himself! He is gasping for air as Clayton is telling him to “throw in the towel” and just give up! I feel like the longer that Clayton chokes Nejari, the more likely that Nejari will pass out because of the lack of oxygen!
Referee: (off-mic) ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR! FIVE! STEP AWAY, CLAYTON!
Clayton Golde: (off-mic) Step aside, beta!
Referee: :skip:
Flannery McCoy: :skip:
Jake Mercer: ’The Only Alpha Male’ in EAW! This is Clayton Golde’s world and we’re just living in it! Clayton is watching Nejari Young get himself to his feet! Nejari is holding onto his neck! That is probably going to bruise up at some point! Clayton is not going to waste any more time as he goes over to retrieve him! But, Nejari manages to catch Clayton by surprise as he connects with an elbow to the face of Clayton! This causes Clayton to go back as Nejari has a bit of space to connect with a clothesline as he sends Clayton down! But, Clayton is finding his way back to his feet as Nejari gets Clayton up into position and connects with a samoan drop as Clayton falls flat on his back! Nejari goes for the cover!
OOOOOOONNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!
TTTTTWWWWWWOOOOOOO—
Stew-O: Clayton Golde kicks out! Nejari Young picks up Clayton as he looks like he wants to end this match. From my research, I think that he might be going for that ripcord back elbow that he likes to call ‘Backdoor!’
Flannery McCoy: BUT, CLAYTON GOLDE DUCKS AS HE ROLLS HIMSELF OUT OF THE RING! I DON’T THINK THAT NEJARI YOUNG WAS EXPECTING CLAYTON TO ROLL OUT OF THE RING! HE COULD HAVE BEEN SECONDS AWAY FROM GETTING AN IMPRESSIVE VICTORY IN HIS DEBUT! CLAYTON IS WALKING AROUND LIKE HE DID THE SMARTEST THING THAT HE HAS EVER DONE! BUT, NEJARI IS LOOKING TO FIND HIMSELF BACK INTO THIS MATCH AS —VAULTING PLANCHA TO THE OUTSIDE AS HE LANDS DIRECTLY ON TOP OF CLAYTON! NEJARI IS STANDING ON HIS FEET! HE IS MORE THAN FIRED UP AS HE HIGH-FIVES A COUPLE OF MEMBERS OF THE EAW UNIVERSE!
Jake Mercer: Nejari Young is looking good in this debut so far! Clayton Golde has no idea what is going to hit him as Nejari follows that up with a jumping leg lariat as he likes to call it ‘Low Ryder’ as that takes Clayton down! Nejari finds himself up as he is shaking his leg, more than anxious to connect with this one next move as he — discus lariat as that takes Clayton down! Nejari picks up Clayton and rolls himself back inside the ring! Nejari manages to climb to the top turnbuckle as I think that he has nothing more than ending this match! Clayton finds himself in a perfect position as he jumps off the top turnbuckle! Frog splash right onto Clayton —
Stew-O: CLAYTON GOLDE MOVES OUT OF THE WAY! CLAYTON WAS PLAYING POSSUM LONG ENOUGH TO INVADE THE FROG SPLASH! NEJARI YOUNG IS HOLDING ONTO HIS RIBS AS CLAYTON GETS BACK UP TO HIS FEET AS HE SPRINGBOARDS OFF THE HORIZONTAL ROPES AND CONNECTS WITH ‘THE BRAND DEAL’ — THE SPRINGBOARD STUNNER MANAGES TO SPRING BACK NEJARI! CLAYTON IS NOT LOOKING TO WASTE ANY TIME AS HE LOOKS TO GO FOR THE ‘C’EST LA VIE’ — THE INVERTED STUNNER!
Flannery McCoy: BUT, NEJARI YOUNG MANAGES TO SLIDE OUT OF THE INVERTED STUNNER! HE CONNECTS WITH A SUPERKICK TO THE BACK OF CLAYTON GOLDE’S HEAD! This causes for Clayton to stumble forward as Nejari grabs Clayton and connects with a double knee backbreaker as that takes ‘The Only Alpha Male’ down! Nejari gets Clayton into position as he drapes his head on the middle horizontal rope! Now, I’m not sure what the newcomer is looking to do, but I hope that it rearranges the face of Clayton!
Jake Mercer: We have absolutely no idea what move is going to come next, but Nejari Young takes a few steps back! He runs towards Clayton Golde before connecting with that tiger feint kick that he likes to call ‘318!’ This manages to take Clayton back down as Nejari is hyping himself up! In the process, it seems like some members of the EAW Universe are rallying behind him! I think that he’s been able to make a few believers in this crowd tonight! Now, he climbs onto the top turnbuckle once more! I think that we’re going to be seeing the same move that I’ve seen in some of his old matches before EAW — a diving headbutt, ladies and gentlemen! The ‘Louisiana Hangover’ from the top rope crashes right on top of Clayton!
Stew-O: CLAYTON GOLDE MOVES OUT OF THE WAY! HE GRABS NEJARI YOUNG OUT OF COMPLETELY NOWHERE AND CONNECTS WITH A SMALL PACKAGE! IS CLAYTON GOING TO STEAL THE VICTORY HERE??!?!
OOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEE!!!!!
TTTTTTWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!
Flannery McCoy: Nejari Young with a kick out! Clayton Golde thought that he could steal the victory there as Clayton looked to connect with a clothesline! But, Nejari ducks the clothesline as he manages to turn Clayton around and connect with an uppercut as that sends Clayton back! Nejari pushes Clayton into the ropes before looking to whip him to the horizontal set of ropes across from him! But, Clayton counters the whip as he sends the newcomer to the horizontal set of ropes! Nejari rebounds off of them and connects with a shoulder tackle as that takes Clayton down! Clayton tries to find his way back to his feet once more as Nejari connects with another shoulder tackle! Now, Nejari manages to pick up Clayton as gets him in an electric chair position and —
Jake Mercer: No! It seemed like Nejari Young wanted to go for that electric chair half nelson driver! But, Clayton Golde is beginning to punch the top of Nejari’s head! He grabs by by the top of his head as he lets Nejari have it with those punches to the top of the head! This causes Clayton to fall down to his feet and right behind Nejari! Nejari turns himself around as he eats a one inch punch to the face by Clayton! This manages to take him down right before Clayton follows that up with a knee to the face of Nejari! This causes for him to fall to one knee as Clayton gets a hold of Nejari —
Stew-O: ‘C’EST LA VIE’— THE LEAPING INVERTED STUNNER ON THE ‘WALKING MAIN EVENT’ AS HE DROPS DOWN! NO! NO! NEJARI YOUNG HOOKS UNDERNEATH THE ARMS OF CLAYTON GOLDE! NEJARI COUNTERS WITH A BACKSLIDE PIN! HE COUNTERS WITH A BACKSLIDE PIN! IS HE GOING TO STEAL THE VICTORY HERE?!??!
OOOOOOONNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!
TTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOO!!!!!
TTTTTTTTHHHHHHHRRRREEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!
(DING! DING! DING!)
(‘Carnival’ blasts through the speakers as the crowd goes insane as he rolls himself out of the ring. Clayton Golde is on his knees, in complete disbelief at Nejari Young, who can’t seem to believe that he got the win there.)
Stephie Love: THE WINNER OF THIS MATCH…NEJARI YOUNG!!!!!!!
Flannery McCoy: Nejari Young gets a surprising victory over Clayton Golde! Clayton can’t seem to believe what just happened! He is looking at the referee, holding up three fingers, trying to clarify if it was actually a three count! Clayton thought it was a two count there!
Jake Mercer: An unbelievable debut by Nejari Young who is more than ecstatic that he managed to get the victory tonight! In my defense, I think that Clayton Golde was robbed here! He had the match secured there —
Stew-O: Nejari Young found a way to counter that situation and it got him the win! Congratulations on Nejari! I can’t wait to see how his journey on the Dynasty brand goes!
(Nejari is more than hyped about his win in his debut match. He climbs the turnbuckle and talks his shit. Clayton comes to and, realizing the outcome, he’s frustrated as can be. He rolls out of the ring, frowning from ear to ear while Nejari continues to celebrate as Dynasty fades to commercials.)
(A commercial plays for House of Glass.)
(‘Vortex’ can be heard through the speakers as the audience drowns out the arena with their own chorus of boos. Daniella Atlas emerges from the back with the Specialists Championship comfortably placed over her own shoulder, grinning from ear to ear as she thoroughly enjoyed every second of the response she’s been given. As she remains still with the boos continuing to surface, Daniella takes a brief glance of the crowd, pure enjoyment etched on her face as she proceeds to walk down the ramp.)
Stephie Love: Ladies & gentlemen, PLEASE WELCOME… THE NEW SPECIALISTS CHAMPION…. THE BLACK FLAME, DANIELLAAAAAA ATLASSS!!!!
Stew-O: Daniella Atlas has certainly been enjoying the most extraordinary high that any elitist can undergo after an event as immense as Territorial Invasion. She was able to defeat KASAI & Raeangel Guzman in order to walk away from the battle with gold over her shoulder. Daniella certainly has her naysayers, but they were all silenced on the day of her victory where she can call herself a champion.
Flannery McCoy: You absolutely cannot take anything away from Daniella, she has been nothing but an unstoppable force since stepping right into this brand and making Dynasty her own grounds for dispelling the truth throughout her work. She has certainly found herself not in the most cordial of relationships with many of her peers, but she’s never been here to make any friends. Daniella’s chaos is all that quenches her, and as champion? It’s amplified further.
Jake Mercer: Daniella’s reinvention has translated into success that wouldn’t have been possible otherwise. This exceedingly visceral and unforgiving person that’s being exemplified through every match she pursues on this brand has told the whole wrestling world exactly why she is champion, and the reign to come…
(As the music dies down, Daniella stands in the middle of the ring with a microphone at hand, keeping the title held close to her shoulder as she proceeds to speak.)
Daniella Atlas: From the very day when I understood exactly where my worth lied, I allowed myself the brevity of atonement for my weak efforts to become something bigger than this world. Everything I have done to finally reach this point of my career, it was all worth it, wouldn’t you agree? To think over a year ago, I was preparing myself for the next step in my career that held no merit by any means. Relying on the voices who all vouched for my name as a prospect to the world of professional wrestling, I always believed myself to be an exceptional woman from an athletic & combative standpoint. All it took was the sport where I can showcase everything that makes me the desirable competitor. I don’t share a single shred of a regret for what I have done to be here, nor am I ever willing to revert back to the ways of my peers who only did so much to get me far to a point, but not to advance into the greater unknown where I needed to thrive. I had no other avenue, I was left with no other choice after Pain for Pride… Mon dieu, I truly despise looking back upon the failures of the past.
Daniella Atlas: Such failures could never compare to the unmatched success I experience right now. I am overjoyed, as I rightfully should be after getting to see that pathetic little worm fail to escape my wrath, locking eyes with the former champion at the very same time, as she had no choice but to witness her precious gold be pried from her fleeting grasp. Those few seconds where you are just about to become champion, they are the most crucial seconds of your entire life as a competitor. You understood this is everything you have been tirelessly working toward, and it’s all you could have ever wanted. I knew Territorial Invasion would become the day where nothing of this world would deny me the moment I’ve been waiting for. I have been a most loyal soldier to fate’s hand, never one to refuse my role as it has become one of utmost importance. This importance… this reliance on me… it’s reinvigorated how I see myself as a crucial figure in this realm of competition.
(Daniella would gaze down upon her newly won Specialists Championship, proud of herself as she couldn’t help but grin further.)
Daniella Atlas: I will take this very championship to the heights it has never experienced… as the greatest danger for every woman among this sport who will have a devastating mountain to climb as I have only grown stronger through my efforts. No one will compare, and certainly, not the poor unfortunate soul who will have to face me once more. I will run through everyone, and anyone, with a beaming smile on this gracious face…
(‘Let Me Hear’ by Fear, and Loathing in Las Vegas can be heard to the allure of heightened mixed reactions from the audience as Saori Aizen is walking down the ramp, glaring up directly at Daniella. Saori doesn’t waste her time motioning herself into the ring with a microphone in hand, looking across from Daniella.)
Saori Aizen: Daniella, I will not mince my words with how your demeanor reeks of this blatant overconfidence. You witnessed the same match everyone else already has, where I emerged from the Divide & Conquer match as the sole survivor, the victor of a battle where the odds were stacked against me without avail. You can speak on the matter however you will, as you usually do, but you will not fool yourself into believing this will be just another match for you to run through whoever you please. Don’t you forget, I am only continuing to present to the world exactly why I have become a competitor that cannot be denied of her opportunities, and will not be overlooked by any means necessary. You have truly blown your own status out of proportion. A mad woman who is out of her mind with how shallow her words have ultimately set themselves out to be. I will not be burdened by loss from our previous encounters, as my growth has displayed in itself in full—and very much so, occurring at a rate where I am outpacing you to the point of cutting your championship reign extraordinarily short.
(Daniella sighs, shaking her own head as she smirks down to Saori.)
Daniella Atlas: Aizen… We have been down this peculiar little road, twice over now… and I defeated you without any doubt of the result. You can prove to have the luck of the very gods, and it will never be enough to prevent your own demise at my hand. I have no reason but see victory as a certainty, because all that you are, as I’ve told to the pipsqueak before… is the perfect contender.
Daniella Atlas: But not the perfect champion.
(Saori took great exception to this phrasing, as she eyed up to Daniella.)
Saori Aizen: Tread very carefully… I will not refrain from making you hold your first regret, for not watching your tongue.
(Daniella tosses the microphone away, as Saori does so as well, with the two seemingly moments away from breaking into a brawl… ‘Lacrimosa – Epic Version’ by Samuel Kim can be heard across the speakers as Vincent Mondrian makes his way out from the back, not giving the audience a single glance as his eyes are set on the ring, as he makes his way over and steps alongside Daniella. Immediately after, ‘Judas’ by Lady Gaga can be heard throughout the speakers as the crowd reacts with loud adoration for the arrival of Holly Allow. As she emerges from the back, Holly takes a glance at the audience as she nods to herself shortly before entering the ring & standing alongside Saori, as a referee rushes into the ring and keeps the teams for the following match separate from one another.)
(Ding! Ding! Ding!)
Stew-O: AND THE MATCH IS UNDERWAY! Saori Aizen enters the fray for her team; seeing this, Daniella Atlas speaks to Vincent and it seems Daniella wants to get a preview going for House of Glass right away! The champion and her future challenger are both in the ring, starting off this tag team match! They both step out of their corners and begin circling the ring, looking incredibly focused as they look to take the advantage in this match off the cuff!
Flannery McCoy: Like last week, this is a clash of styles, with the primarily power and striking focused Daniella going up against the technical mastermind in Saori Aizen! Both of them begin the match with attempts at taking the leverage to begin with, but both of them are just as defensive in making sure they don’t get caught! Daniella Atlas has already thrown a few heavy-handed blows that Saori was able to dodge, but every time Saori tries to lock in a hold, Daniella is able to shove her off and get out of harm’s way before anything comes of it!
Jake Mercer: Daniella goes for a lunging elbow smash, but Saori is able to duck and grab a hold of Daniella’s side, swinging herself around to get into a waist lock position behind her! Daniella immediately counters what Saori has planned with a back elbow to the side of Saori’s head, taking the true first strike of this match before reaching back and grabbing her by the head and applying a classic head lock to the Demon Child!
Stew-O: From that position, she looks to knock Saori Aizen silly by keeping her head in place while going for a knee lift, but Saori is able to slip her head out of the lock before it connects! The knee lift hits nothing, but the Demon Child immediately capitalizes by grabbing Daniella’s ankle and using her other hand to shove the Specialist’s Champion to the ground, taking advantage of her standing on one foot!
Flannery McCoy: Now Daniella is on the canvas with the Demon Child applying a hold of her own, locking Daniella in place with a scissors headlock and constricting her with all the force she can muster! She doesn’t stop there as she begins pounding away at the roof of Daniella’s head with some hammer fists!
Jake Mercer: But Daniella’s power and resilience can never be underestimated! She grabs Saori’s legs with both hands and literally pulls herself out of the scissors headlock! She keeps the grip on Saori’s legs as she forces her into a modified roll-up pin, using her weight advantage to keep Saori down!
ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
TW-
Stew-O: But Saori is able to kick out, rolling herself through with a backroll! As Saori gets up, though, she immediately gets caught as the Black Flame lunges forward and knocks her onto her back with a sudden elbow smash to the face! That attack seems to have dazed the Demon Child, and Daniella wastes no time in capitalizing as she scrambles to her feet and begins raining down stomps onto Saori Aizen!
Flannery McCoy: Both of these women are fierce, but Saori Aizen has a steep hill to climb with the sheer power advantage that Daniella has! It’s not untapped power, either, as Daniella brings the ferocity each and every time she steps into that ring! The Demon Child, ever the prudent wrestler, starts rolling away as Daniella tries to follow suit in order to continue stomping her future challenger out!
Jake Mercer: She’s able to roll under the bottom rope and make her way onto the apron, where she immediately reaches up and grabs the middle rope in order to pull herself back up to a standing position!
Stew-O: Daniella Atlas sprints towards her with a frighteningly swift stride, looking to TAKE HER HEAD OFF WITH A RUNNING LARIAT! SHE’S GOING FOR INAMORATA, TRYING TO KNOCK THE DEMON CHILD OUT BY LAUNCHING THE ATTACK OVER THE TOP ROPE!
Flannery McCoy: BUT SAORI IS ABLE TO EVADE IT BY DUCKING! SHE EMPLOYS A COUNTERATTACK BY GIVING DANIELLA A SHOULDER BARGE FROM BETWEEN THE TOP AND MIDDLE ROPES! Daniella rushed at her with such force that she wasn’t able to stop herself from getting caught by Saori in time, leading to her staggering back with her ribs clutched!
Jake Mercer: BUT AS SHE STAGGERS BACK, SAORI CATCHES HER WITH A ROPE ASSISTED ROUNDHOUSE KICK! That’s enough to bring Daniella to a stumble as she’s on the backfoot! Saori leaps onto the middle rope before getting to the top and springboarding off of it, launching herself towards Daniella Atlas with a springboard missile dropkick!!
Stew-O: But Daniella is able to sidestep at the very last moment, leading to the missile hitting nothing! Saori lands on the canvas with a thud, arching her back as she does! Nevertheless, she stays resilient as she scrambles to her feet as quickly as she can, but Daniella Atlas keeps the pressure going as she rushes forward and catches her with a front waist lock!
Flannery McCoy: She’s going for a Northern Lights suplex– BUT SAORI IS ABLE TO ROTATE HERSELF THROUGH, LANDING BEHIND DANIELLA! Daniella is about to turn around, but Saori gives her a thrust kick from behind to knock her forward! The Black Flame is unable to turn around and catch the Demon Child in time before Saori rushes back and tags the Seraph in!
Jake Mercer: Holly Arrow enters the match now, and finds herself in an advantageous position as Daniella has already taken some damage in a remarkably even fight with the Demon Child! Regardless, though, the Seraph sees no point in letting Daniella catch her breath as she begins her attack on the Specialist’s Champion, looking to get the victory for her team!
Stew-O: She’s lighting her up with a flurry of forearm strikes, pushing her back to one of the empty corners in the ring! She keeps up the pressure there, firing off a bunch of alternating strikes to keep Daniella from being able to predict and retaliate; she mixes up elbow strikes and palm strikes, managing to land most of her blows before one to the side of the head forces Daniella to turn around!
Flannery McCoy: That prompts Holly Arrow to attempt a German suplex on the champion… but Daniella is resisting it with all that she has! She keeps a firm grip on the top ropes, and Holly is unable to get her off her feet! Well, funny that I should say that, because Daniella just lifted one of her feet and launched a HEAVY mule kick behind her, kicking Holly Arrow in the midsection with tremendous force to make the Seraph stagger back in pain!
Jake Mercer: And now the Black Flame is flared up, showing an angry scowl on her face as she returns the favor of the flurry of strikes by unleashing a barrage of her own, lighting up the chest of the Seraph with a ton of knife-edge chops! I think I can see her chest getting redder and more blistered by the second, but that doesn’t stop Daniella from unleashing all this violence without a bit of hesitation!
Stew-O: AND A HEADBUTT BY THE MERCILESS DANIELLA ATLAS FORCES HOLLY ARROW TO FALL TO THE CANVAS! Daniella must’ve felt that one too, given how she stumbles back herself with her hand to her head, but that is just a momentary distraction as she shakes her head and gets herself back into the game! She sees Holly laid out on her back and almost goes for the pin before looking back and seeing the turnbuckles, thinking better of it! She instead walks back and climbs up them, getting up to the top turnbuckle before looking down at the Seraph and taking aim! WHAT’S SHE GOT PLANNED?!
Flannery McCoy: DIVING SENTOOOOOOOOON! BUT NO, IT MISSED, HOLLY ARROW ROLLED OUT OF THE WAY AT THE LAST MINUTE! THAT’S GOT TO LEAVE A MARK ON THE SPECIALIST’S CHAMPION, WHO HAD NOTHING TO CUSHION THAT HARD LANDING!
Jake Mercer: The Black Flame is clutching her back and arching it in pain as she tries to get to her feet immediately, but she’s unable to as she falls to a kneel; no matter how dominant she may be, a blow like that will leave you dazed, you can’t scramble up immediately after something like that!
Stew-O: Holly Arrow immediately capitalizes on that, though, as she rushes to her feet and immediately rushes to hit Daniella with a kneeling DDT! That flips Daniella over onto her back, where Holly hooks her leg and goes for the pin off of that!
ONEEEEEEEEEEE!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Flannery McCoy: BUT DANIELLA KICKS OUT! Holly is frustrated as she flips Daniella onto her gut and makes her own way up to the top rope, perhaps looking to end the match for good and get a big win over a champion! If she does that, it’ll certainly be a big step towards the momentum she’s looking to get! She climbs up to the top turnbuckle, and takes aim at the Specialist’s Champion…
Jake Mercer: WITHOUT FURTHER ADO, SHE DIVES AT HER! SHE’S GOING FOR THE CHAMPAGNE SUPERKNEE DROP! BUT DANIELLA ROLLS AWAY AT THE LAST MOMENT, FLIPPING THE SCRIPT ON HOLLY ARROW WHO JUST LANDED ON HER KNEES FROM THE TOP ROPE!
Stew-O: DANIELLA TAGS VINCENT MONDRIAN IN AS HOLLY ARROW CLUTCHES AT HER LEGS IN PAIN, AND VINCENT IMMEDIATELY TAKES ADVANTAGE BY BEATING THE DAYLIGHTS OUT OF HOLLY ARROW! THE VICIOUS STRIKER IS LIGHTING HER UP WITH SLAPS, FOREARM STRIKES, AND ELBOW SMASHES GALORE!
Flannery McCoy: He already had her in his sights as of last week, and now he’s got her right where he wants her! A double knee drop on the Seraph sends her rolling away in pain as she still has yet to recover from the superknee drop that she endured! Vincent keeps stomping away, looking to get the victory over her, but she’s able to tag Saori in before it gets out of hand!
Jake Mercer: AND NOW THE TWO ARE BRAWLING IT OUT, LOOKING TO STAKE THEIR CLAIMS ON THIS MOMENTUM! VINCENT IS LAUNCHING ELBOW SMASHES AND KNEE SMASHES, BUT SAORI IS RETURNING THE FAVOR WITH SOME STRIKES OF HER OWN!
Stew-O: Saori gets herself thrown to the corner where she falls to a seated position, and Vincent looks to take advantage as he rushes forward and unleashes THE FLYING DUTCHMAN, THE RUNNING DROPKICK!
Flannery McCoy: BUT SAORI IS ABLE TO GET OUT OF THE WAY AT THE NICK OF TIME, FORCING VINCENT TO CRASH INTO THE BOTTOM TURNBUCKLE IN A BRUTAL WAY! THAT WAS PRACTICALLY A LOW BLOW TO HIMSELF, BUT SAORI DOESN’T CARE!
Jake Mercer: SHE PULLS HIM OUT OF THERE AND UNLEASHES THE COFFIN OF IRON MOUNTAIN, HER FINISHING OMOPLATA CROSSFACE, AND VINCENT HAS NOWHERE TO GO! HE’S BEEN PULLED OUT OF THE WAY OF THE ROPES AND THE PAIN SEARING THROUGH HIS HEAD AND HIS LOWER HALF HAVE HIM TRAPPED!
Stew-O: HE KEEPS FIGHTING IT WITH GRITTED TEETH, CLAWING HIS WAY TOWARDS THE ROPES AS MUCH AS HE CAN… BUT IT’S TOO FAR AWAY! DANIELLA LOOKS LIKE SHE’S ABOUT TO COME IN, BUT– HE JUST TAPPED! VINCENT TAPPED!
(Ding! Ding! Ding!)
(“Let Me Hear” by Fear, and Loathing in Las Vegas as Saori gets off of Vincent! She gets her arms raised by the referee alongside Holly Arrow, but Daniella looks furious as she gets into the ring! The champion stares off at the challenger as she looks like she’s about to take action, but steps back as she seems to withhold her anger until House of Glass.)
Stew-O: Some unbelievable tension going on here as Saori was able to capitalize on Vincent’s mistake and got a victory over Daniella, but that left the champion unpinned with a loss she wasn’t able to help!
Flannery McCoy: Holly looks happy for the victory, but she wasn’t able to get the pin on Vincent either; both rivalries remain unresolved for now as the victorious team stares off at their future challengers with tensions growing by the second!
(The video feed lingers on the staredown for a few moments before fading to black.)
(A commercial plays for Colourpop, featuring Daniella Atlas.)
Stephie Love: The following contest is scheduled for…
Crowd: ONE FALL!!!
(‘Duel of The Fates V2’ by Samuel Kim begins to blast through the speakers of the arena as the New Breed Champion BRAE is seen beginning to make his way out to the stage. He has a determined expression on his face as he makes his way down the ramp.)
Stephie Love: Introducing first… residing in Bray County Wicklow, Ireland… weighing in at 215 pounds… he is the NEW BREED CHAMPION!!!!!!!!!! ‘THE IMPERIAL SYMPHONY’… BRAE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(‘2024’ by Playboi Carti then begins to follow that up as the crowd gets loud for the King of Elite as Joso is seen making his way out from the backstage area. He has a confident expression on his face as he then begins to make his way to the ring from there.)
Stephie Love: And his opponent… from Bronx, New York… weighing in at 206 pounds… he is the KING OF ELITE!!!!!!!!! ‘THE NEW ERA’… JOSO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(DING! DING! DING!)
Stew-O: The bell has rung and here we go, a big-time match officially underway between two of Dynasty’s heavy hitters. The King of Elite is in action as Joso is eager for a victory heading into the biggest opportunity of his career, facing the likes of the New Breed Champion BRAE, a man who has been on a tear recently but is especially passionate about this match here tonight. Both of them have been in the ring before and we know that Joso has his number, so I think we know he will be aiming for the target on his back.
Flannery McCoy: But it remains to be seen whether or not that’s going to happen, there’s only one way to find out. They both make their way toward the center of the ring, and they’re immediately locking in a collar-and-elbow tie-up! They’re jockeying for position, but it looks like BRAE is getting the advantage here, as Joso shifts his weight and is trying his best to fend him off, but he’s pushing him against the ropes. The referee is going to make his way over here and force a rope break between the two, ending with a clean break.
Jake Mercer: BRAE steps back and allows some space for Joso, both of them still looking poised right now as they circle the ring. It seems like they’re trying to gauge just exactly who they’re going to be up against tonight, taking it slow. But they’re quick to lock up once more as they go back and forth with one another. But before BRAE can take advantage, it’s Joso who manages to break through and lock in a side headlock! It’s cinched in and BRAE is trying to go even further, dipping down onto a knee and doing whatever he can right now to keep Joso in place, but the King of Elite is not going to go silently. He begins to slowly push himself up to his feet, as he tries to bring him toward the ropes. BRAE is just wrenching at that head right now, but it’s not long before Joso manages to press him against it before sending him to the opposite side of the ring… Joso with a leapfrog… BEFORE HE GRABS BRAE BY THE ARM AND TAKES HIM DOWN WITH AN ARM DRAG!
Stew-O: BRAE lands flat on his back as he winces in pain before quickly rising back up to his feet… ONLY TO BE MET WITH A DROPKICK TO THE CHEST BY JOSO WHICH TAKES HIM BACK DOWN TO THE GROUND! Joso is coming at him hot and BRAE is not looking to be interested in any of that at the moment, as he slowly begins to crawl away toward one of the corners to create some distance before anything else can happen. The New Breed Champion is falling against one of the turnbuckles but it looks like Joso has his eyes on him now… AS HE RUSHES OVER AND GOES FOR A FOREARM SMASH STRAIGHT TO HIS FACE WHICH LEAVES HIM ROCKED!
Flannery McCoy: Joso then grabs him by the head, sending him toward the center of the ring before he begins to make his way up to the top rope. He has his eyes set as BRAE begins to recover, turning himself around… JOSO LAUNCHES OFF- NO! BRAE JUST IN TIME MANAGES TO RUSH OVER AND GRAB HIM BY THE ANKLE BEFORE YANKING HIM OFF OF THE TOP ROPE AND ONTO THE CANVAS! Joso is hurt but he’s quickly getting back up to his feet, realizing the situation that he’s in right now… BUT AS HE DOES, HE TURNS AROUND TO BRAE WHO GRABS HIM AND POPS HIM OFF OF THE GROUND INTO A SPINNING URANAGE! BRAE takes him down to the ground with a quick move as he then quickly hooks the leg and goes for the first pinfall attempt in this match!
OOONNNEEE!!!
Jake Mercer: BUT JOSO GETS THE SHOULDER UP BEFORE THE TWO COUNT! BRAE manages to get the offense in his favor, and Joso realizes how much trouble this is going to put him in going forward if he’s not going to be able to get himself out of this situation. He’s not wasting any time beginning to roll away as he goes under the bottom rope and onto the apron, not wanting anything to do with the New Breed Champion right now. BRAE is beginning to rise though, as I think he sees an opportunity right now, reaching over the ropes and grabbing a hold of the head of Joso as he pulls him up while he’s on the apron…
Stew-O: BRAE GOING FOR ‘THE 10 BEATS OF BRAE’!
Flannery McCoy: BUT JOSO MANAGES TO SNATCH THE WRIST! Just in time, he manages to stop the attack as he turns around and strikes BRAE right against his face to send him backward and toward the center of the ring! BRAE is trying his best to hold his ground, focusing back in on the King of Elite… BUT WHILE HE DOES, JOSO LAUNCHES OFF OF THE ROPES AND CONNECTS WITH A SPRINGBOARD CLOTHESLINE TO TAKE BRAE DOWN TO THE GROUND QUICKLY!
Jake Mercer: Joso rolls up to his feet, and it looks like he isn’t done either as he looks to keep the momentum going while BRAE is down on the ground. He runs toward the ropes… LAUNCHING OFF AND CONNECTING WITH A BEAUTIFUL SPRINGBOARD MOONSAULT TO COMPLETELY CRUSH BRAE UNDERNEATH HIM! It’s Joso now who hooks the leg and quickly goes for the pin right here!
OOONNNEEE!!!
TTTTWW-
Stew-O: BUT BRAE MANAGES TO KICK OUT OF THAT ONE! Both of them are trading pins now, trying to stay on top, but neither of them is looking to quit this early in the match. Joso rolls back up to his feet, as it looks like he’s going to try to head up to the top rope again, not particularly interested in letting BRAE get the upper hand in this match again. He’s perched up on the turnbuckle as BRAE is slowly beginning to rise back up himself… AND IT LOOKS LIKE HE’S GOING TO LAUNCH OFF THE TOP ROPE-
Flannery McCoy: BUT BEFORE HE CAN, BRAE SHOOTS UP AND RUSHES FORWARD AS HE STRIKES HIM RIGHT AGAINST THE FACE! Joso falls into a seated position and BRAE does not waste any time beginning to send repeated strikes toward him! BRAE is not looking to let up even for a second, no matter how much offense he goes through right now. But at the same time, Joso is beginning to recover to the best of his abilities, not particularly backing down himself! AND HE MANAGES TO CREATE DISTANCE AS HE KICKS BRAE IN THE FACE! This forces BRAE backward, and gives Joso the opportunity to go back to what he was doing… AS HE LAUNCHES HIMSELF OFF AND GOES FOR A CROSSBODY!
Jake Mercer: BUT JOSO IS CAUGHT! BRAE MANAGES TO CATCH HIM AS HE STUMBLES BACK TOWARD THE CENTER OF THE RING! He then lifts Joso onto his shoulder in a Fireman’s Carry position, setting him up for something here… NO! Before that can happen, it’s Joso who manages to fight back! He’s sending repeated elbow shots toward the side of his head! Not looking to let up even for a second right now as he knows the predicament that he’s been put in with this and how much it could affect him in this match going forward! BRAE is trying his best to keep a hold of him, but he’s forced to put him down… BEFORE HE THROWS A STRIKE TOWARD THE FACE OF JOSO-
Stew-O: BUT JOSO MANAGES TO DUCK UNDER THAT BEFORE SENDING A BOOT STRAIGHT INTO THE ABDOMEN OF BRAE! Joso then turns around and runs toward the ropes… AS HE LEAPS OFF AND GOES FOR A SPRINGBOARD CUTTER-
Flannery McCoy: BUT BEFORE HE DOES, IT’S BRAE THAT RUSHES FORWARD AND GRABS A HOLD OF HIM BY THE ABDOMEN BEFORE BRINGING HIM BACK TOWARD THE CENTER OF THE RING! HE THEN PROCEEDS TO LIFT HIM OFF THE GROUND AND DROP HIM DOWN WITH A GERMAN SUPLEX DOWN ONTO THE GROUND!
Jake Mercer: JOSO IS TAKEN DOWN AND BRAE IS USING THIS OPPORTUNITY TO RISE BACK UP TO HIS FEET AS HE SETS HIM UP! BEFORE LIFTING HIM OFF THE GROUND AND CONNECTING WITH A BELLY-TO-BELLY SUPLEX THIS TIME! Joso is hurt as he continues to fight back, using the ropes to bring himself slowly up to his feet… BUT BRAE RUSHES TOWARD HIM AND LOOKS TO SEND A STRIKE TOWARD HIS FACE-
Stew-O: BUT JOSO CONNECTS WITH A BOOT STRAIGHT TO HIS FACE INSTEAD! BRAE stumbles backward as Joso rushes toward him… BUT BRAE GOES FOR A STRIKE DIRECTLY TOWARD HIS FACE- BUT JOSO DUCKS UNDER THAT AS HE RUNS TO THE ROPES AND BACK…
Flannery McCoy: JUST TO BE CAUGHT BY ‘MORRIGAN’! THE BROGUE KICK STRAIGHT TO THE FACE TO TAKE HIM DOWN TO THE GROUND!
Jake Mercer: BUT JOSO MANAGES TO DUCK UNDER THAT JUST IN TIME! HE TURNS AROUND AS HE GOES UNDER AND POPS HIM UP ONTO HIS SHOULDERS! HE THEN SPINS HIM AROUND AS HE SETS HIM UP!
Stew-O: CONNECTING WITH ‘INCOMING SILENCE’! SPINNING SIT-OUT POWERBOMB CONNECTS AND HE’S QUICK TO PIN HIS SHOULDERS DOWN ONTO THE MAT AND GO FOR THE PIN ATTEMPT RIGHT HERE!
OOONNNEEE!!!
TTTTWWWWOOOO!!!!
TTTTTHHHHHHRRRRRRRREE-
Flannery McCoy: BUT IT’S BRAE WHO MANAGES TO SHOOT THE SHOULDER UP JUST IN THE NICK OF TIME AND GET HIMSELF OUT OF THAT SITUATION! BRAE is hurt as he slowly begins to roll away, and Joso doesn’t particularly look happy about this himself as he rises back up to his feet. He has his eyes set on a recovering BRAE and is looking to put an end to this while he has the chance. He makes his way over and grabs him by his head before bringing him up to his feet, grabbing a hold of him by the waist and sending him toward one of the corners with an Irish whip… BUT BRAE MANAGES TO STOP IT!
Jake Mercer: He’s dropping his weight down quickly and is not letting go even for a moment! Joso is trying to pull him toward him, but it’s clear that it’s not working as BRAE is doing everything that he possibly can right now to keep himself in this! BRAE THEN MANAGES TO PULL HIM IN BEFORE CONNECTING WITH A HARD KNEE STRIKE STRAIGHT TO THE ABDOMEN! This takes Joso down to a kneeling position as he struggles to get back up to his feet… BUT BEFORE HE CAN FOLLOW UP WITH ANYTHING IT’S BRAE WHO MANAGES TO COME IN AND CONNECT WITH A BOOT TO HIS FACE TO TAKE HIM BACK DOWN TO THE MAT!
Stew-O: BRAE is managing to kick into that reserve right now to keep himself in this match, and now he’s looking to return the favor to Joso by grabbing him by the head and bringing him up to his feet. He snatches him by the wrist before sending him toward one of the corners himself, and now he makes his way over…. BEFORE CONNECTING WITH A HUGE CHOP TO HIS CHEST TO TAKE THE AIR OUT OF HIS LUNGS! That definitely hurt the King of Elite as he does everything that he can to keep himself upward… BUT BRAE IS FOLLOWING THAT UP WITH MACHINE GUN CHOPS DIRECTLY TO THE CHEST! NOT LOOKING TO LET UP FOR EVEN A SECOND AS THE NEW BREED CHAMPION BEGINS TO ABSOLUTELY UNLOAD ON HIM WITH A BARRAGE!
Flannery McCoy: BRAE after some time finally steps back as Joso clutches at his chest, barely managing to keep himself upward as he makes his way out of the corner… BUT QUICKLY BRAE FOLLOWS THAT UP AS HE GRABS A HOLD OF HIM BEFORE DROPPING HIM DOWN TO THE CANVAS WITH AN EXPLODER SUPLEX! JOSO IS DOWN ON THE GROUND AS BRAE ROLLS OVER AND HOOKS THE LEG! GOING FOR THE PIN RIGHT HERE! IS THIS GOING TO BE IT FOR THIS MATCH?!
OOONNNEEE!!!
TTTTWWWWOOOO!!!!
TTTTTHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRRE-
Jake Mercer: BUT THAT DOESN’T HAPPEN! JOSO MANAGES TO KICK OUT OF THAT AND BARELY KEEPS HIMSELF IN THIS FIGHT FOR THE TIME BEING! BRAE doesn’t look particularly happy about it, as he knows how close he was to finishing this one off, but it looks like right now that the King of Elite has different plans for this match. Joso is laying on the ground still and BRAE has his eyes set on putting an end to this match while he has the chance. The New Breed Champion is trying to close this out…
Stew-O: AS HE LEAPS INTO THE AIR AND GOES FOR ‘RED DEATH’!
Flannery McCoy: BUT JOSO MANAGES TO MOVE OUT OF THE WAY OF THAT! BRAE LANDS HARD ON THE GROUND BUT QUICKLY MANAGES TO ROLL HIMSELF UP TO HIS FEET… ONLY FOR JOSO TO MEET HIM WITH A HARD KICK STRAIGHT TO THE FACE WHICH FORCES HIM BACKWARD! BRAE barely manages to hold his ground as he makes his way over to him… BUT BEFORE HE CAN, IT’S JOSO WHO LEAPS INTO THE AIR AND NAILS HIM WITH A JUMPING KNEE STRIKE RIGHT TO THE FACE WHICH TAKES HIM DOWN TO THE GROUND!
Jake Mercer: BRAE is trying to rise up to his feet… BUT BEFORE HE CAN IT’S JOSO WHO RUSHES FORWARD AND CONNECTS WITH A FOREARM STRIKE TO HIS FACE! BRAE IS TAKEN DOWN TO THE GROUND BUT TRIES TO GET BACK UP TO HIS FEET… ONLY FOR JOSO TO CONNECT WITH ANOTHER FOREARM STRIKE TO HIS FACE TO FOLLOW THAT ONE UP! JOSO THEN GRABS A HOLD OF HIM AS HE TRIES TO SET HIM UP!
Stew-O: GOING FOR ‘HEAVEN’S GATE’!
Flannery McCoy: BUT BRAE MANAGES TO SLIP OUT OF IT AS HE CONNECTS WITH A HEADBUTT RIGHT AGAINST THE FACE! BRAE THEN FOLLOWS THAT UP AS HE GRABS A HOLD OF HIM AND DROPS HIM DOWN ONTO THE GROUND WITH A DDT!
Jake Mercer: BRAE is getting back up to his feet and it looks like he wants to close this out! He looks absolutely poised right now as he awaits Joso to be in position…
Stew-O: AS HE LAUNCHES INTO THE AIR AND GOES FOR A SECOND ATTEMPT AT ‘RED DEATH’ TO BRAE-
Flannery McCoy: WAIT! SOMEONE JUST CLIMBED THE APRON! BRAE IS STOPPED IN HIS TRACKS AS THE REFEREE IS SUDDENLY TRYING TO GET SOMEONE OFF! WHO THE HELL IS THIS?!
Jake Mercer: IT’S ISAAC CROW! ISAAC CROW IS YELLING AT BRAE AND TRYING TO GET HIS ATTENTION! WHAT THE HELL IS HE DOING HERE AND WHAT IS HE DOING TRYING TO DISTRACT THE NEW BREED CHAMPION?!
Stew-O: WELL THAT DOESN’T SEEM TO MATTER RIGHT NOW AS JOSO SNEAKS IN FROM BEHIND AND ROLLS HIM UP!
OOONNNEEE!!!
TTTTWWWWOOOO!!!!
TTTTTHHHHHHRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEE!!!!!!
(DING! DING! DING!)
(‘2024’ begins to blast through the speakers of the arena as Joso is quick to roll himself out of the ring. BRAE looks absolutely pissed right now as he eyes Isaac Crow who is already making his way up the ramp without a second glance, and he can’t believe what he just witnessed.)
Stephie Love: Here is your winner… the KING OF ELITE!!!!! JOSO!!!!!!!!!!!!
Flannery McCoy: Well thanks to Isaac Crowe, it looks like the King of Elite walks out with a win against the New Breed Champion! I think it’s safe to say who BRAE has next on his list now given the circumstances of this match.
Jake Mercer: It seems like this match made him neglect his responsibilities as a Champion and the possibility of something like this happening, but regardless it’s Joso who manages to come out on top right here. Congratulations to the King of Elite!
(The last shot seen is Joso circling the ring as he laughs at BRAE, before Friday Night Dynasty from there begins to fade to elsewhere.)
(After the backlash of what we just witnessed, we see a very rampant and angry Myles. The World Heavyweight Champion was loud and made his intentions very obvious.)
Myles: DRAKE! WHERE ARE YOU AT IT?
(Myles was not light to show his frustrations as he was throwing stuff around, and he was being very self destructive.)
Myles: You son of a bitch…… when I find you, I am gonna tear you apart with my bare hands!
(He just looked so defeated, but quickly scurrying behind him was none other than..)
Michael Belfort: Myles! I’m sorry to disturb you, but can I ask for a status update on Minerva!?!
(Michael Belfort approached Myles, as he turned around viciously frustrated.)
Myles: Are you seriously gonna pester me right now..? But alright, I guess if you want an update on Minerva, she will be okay. I promise that she is 100% fine, and soon enough, she will be back standing on her feet, and she will get some revenge on Drake King, I promise that……. If there is anything left of him.
(Myles was still in a vicious rage, as his focus just couldn’t be centered. So intent on erasing the situation at bay.)
Michael Belfort: That is understandable Myles, but earlier tonight, we saw Minerva telling you to stay out of the situation, do you really think this is what she—
(Myles just pushes Belfort out of the way completely. Belfort was stunned, but the rage brewing inside Myles was too intent for focus. Marching his way through the backstage area still..)
Myles: I am not gonna allow Drake King to do this again, I am not going to go down this path again. I am not going to let this be once more. I know that she would rather I focus on Joso, but I know what this problems leads to. Joso is still in my mind, and he won’t be leaving my mind. But right now, the only thing in my mind is finding him. I don’t know where he is hiding, he could be 100 miles away from here by now. But I will find him. It doesn’t matter.
(Blinded by rage, Myles just continued to storm through every possible area. He was even going as far to check every corner. Myles turned as he saw two staff workers standing.)
Myles: Have you seen him?
(The staff simply nodded “no” as Myles just sighed with huge frustration.)
Myles: Of course not.
(Myles turned away from them, as he continued to march through the area. He was a man on a mission.)
Myles: You can follow me, you can film me all you want. But you are gonna want to turn the cameras off when I do find Drake King. Because what I do to him won’t be good for television. I am not succumbing to the abuse that I tolerated once before, and just so you know-
(BANG!)
…..
……
(Myles turned a corner and BOOM! A steel chair was sent shooting straight into his gut! Myles fell to the ground quickly. The World Heavyweight Champion was thrown so abroad, he had zero idea of who even hit him. But that chair slammed over him.. AGAIN!)
(BANG!)
(Myles laid there now as he was absolutely distraught, the camera held on his pained face. The person that attacked him came much more clearer, as the scene panned up and revealed none other than…)
Joso: Well.
(BANG!)
(Joso hit Myles again with the steel chair, as he was brutalizing the Champion. Every message was being sent, as he stood over Myles. His presence was imposing and his statement made clear.)
Joso: I heard you running real rampant through here looking for your mans Drake, but he is nowhere to be found right now. Maybe if you actually diverted your focus and gave a damn, you wouldn’t know the reality that is about to await you.
(BANG!)
(Joso hit Myles with the chair AGAIN. This time he was hitting him as he went on with the continous monologue.)
Joso: This is directly how your downfall starts, Myles. You worried about the wrong person. You are self destructing big time now, and I want to laugh at it. I want to look at your suffering and wail in anticipation that it’ll soon be my victory. But this ain’t what I am bargaining for, Myles. I don’t want to hear the words Drake King come outta your mouth again. You got that alright? Understood? Okay.
(BANG!)
(Once again, he hit the chair against Myles, hoping that set the memo straight. He now rests the chair against Myles harshly, as he stands there looking down at him.)
Joso: But yeah, this is what happens when you gamble your debt and don’t focus on ME. Do you hear that, Myles? I am the man coming for the gold around your shoulder, so next time you speak; the only words coming out of your mouth better be limited to Joso, and only Joso. I want all that attention on me, and hopefully you are getting that now, Myles. This lack of putting your focus on me is only going to lead to your downfall. I mean, hey. Look at me and you right now. One of us is struggling on the ground, and one of us is standing tall. This is gonna be the same sight, because I am taking that title away from you.
(Myles listened to all that on the ground, as he laid there grunting in pain. The chair being pushed against his chest. Joso just looked down at him, as he picked the chair up and turned away walking off…)
Joso: One more thing though.
(Joso stopped in his tracks, as he turned around…)
(BANG!)
(ANOTHER SHOT FROM THE STEEL CHAIR ONTO MYLES! As Joso went for the killing blow this time!)
Joso: There we go, don’t mention Drake again.
(With that threat following up that act of violence, the scene would fade to ringside as Myles was getting much needed help.)
Stew-O: Well, this night has been intense…
Jake Mercer: No kidding! Minerva gets laid out, and now, Joso just attacked Myles! At this rate, are those two even going to make it to House of Glass?!
Flannery McCoy: We’re only two more weeks away before that show, and things are looking dire for a few Elitists, which isn’t a good thing considering the sort of matches House of Glass entails. Even if they are cleared to compete, they’re not going to be in the best of shape once that event comes around.
(‘Saint Pablo’ by Kanye West blares out inside of the Indira Ghandi Arena. Boos can be heard emanating from the crowd before Cy Henderson arrives on stage. The EAW hall of famer doesn’t pay any mind to any of the negative reactions he’s being met with. He makes his way down to the ring, focused on the business he has at hand.)
Stephie Love: Ladies and gentlemen, introducing at this time, EAW Hall of Famer… CYYY HEEENDEEERRRRSOOOOON!!!
Stew-O: Here he is, no doubt looking for his answer when it comes to himself and SOSA Henderson. Last week on Friday Night Dynasty, Cy called out SOSA as he was the one who eliminated him and Limmy Monaghan of Voltage at the same time in the final moments of the Brand Warfare match at Territorial Invasion, and he wants to be able to prove that that moment was merely that — a moment. Not indicative of Sosa being the better talent, and certainly not being above Cy.
Jake Mercer: Henderson on Henderson Warfare. I like it! Cy put the challenge out there, and we just have to wait and see if SOSA will be able to come on by and accept it!
Flannery McCoy: Well, Cy seems sure of it. He isn’t going to be content with anything else. He wants to face him, redeem himself and ensure that when people think about who is truly the best Henderson in EAW, it’s him. No one else.
(Cy enters the ring and is given a microphone. Stephie Love takes her leave. The boos continue to rain down from the crowd, but Cy doesn’t flinch—his expression remains stoic, his eyes focused on the entrance ramp, as if daring SOSA Henderson to make his appearance. He lifts the mic to his lips, pausing just long enough to let the crowd’s jeers hang in the air like an unsaid challenge.)
Cy Henderson: Last week, I made my intentions crystal clear. I didn’t come here to play nice, I didn’t come here to settle for second best, and I damn sure didn’t come here to be disrespected by someone who shares my name, but not my legacy. Territorial Invasion as far as I’m concerned was one little bump, but it’s not going to throw me off course. SOSA is going to get the satisfaction of being the better man than me. He had his lucky shot and that was that. That’s why I wanted a match with him. He’s sure as gotten quite cocky after what happened two weeks ago, and quite frankly, I’m not really liking that. I’m not going to stand here and let someone like SOSA get comfortable thinking he’s on my level.
Cy Henderson: What SOSA needs to understand is that I’m not just another guy on his path to greatness… I am greatness. I’ve been where he’s trying to go, I’ve done what he’s only starting to dream about. And yet here he is, acting like a couple of eliminations in a match are enough to put him above me? I don’t think so. I’ve been the future of this company before SOSA even knew what this business was about. And now, he thinks one little win gives him the right to act like he’s surpassed me? That he can swagger around here like he’s the man?
(He shakes his head.)
Cy Henderson: Some of you might think that I’m just bitter or I care too much about the outcome, but when I know I can be better than someone, I aim to prove just that. After all, up until that loss, look at the names I have defeated. I beat Jake Smith before he went on to use his Grand Rampage win to become world champion again. I beat Limmy Monaghan myself. I defeated Rex McAllister and humiliated him so much that he scurried on over to Raven Roberts so that he could get carried by his wife. All three of them were seen as being better than me, all three of them thought they were better than me in their own right, but sure enough, they couldn’t get the job done when it came down to it.
(Cy’s face hardens. He takes a step toward the ropes, staring out at the crowd, but his words are directed straight to SOSA.)
Cy Henderson: So, when I say that I am better than you, SOSA? I truly mean it. It’s not just talk. It’s not ego. It’s a fact. SOSA will never be better than me, and at House of Glass, I’m going to prove that… unless, of course, he’s too scared about having to back himself up when it truly matters the most and waste all of this hype he’s got.
(More of the crowd boos.)
Cy Henderson: Well, people, if you don’t want that to be the case, then all he has to do is come out to the ring right now and accept my challenge. I don’t want to wait. I’m not delaying this. If he truly thinks he’s better than me anyways, then surely, he doesn’t need to get sweaty palms and cold feet about the possibility of facing me, right?
(He backs up and turns his attention towards the stage.)
Cy Henderson: So, SOSA, I know you’re listening. If you’re really the kind of guy you say you are, then don’t leave me waiting. Don’t make excuses, don’t hide behind the curtain. Come out here, face me like the man you claim to be, and show the world that you’re more than just a lucky moment.
(Cy Henderson stands in the center of the ring, his eyes locked on the stage, daring SOSA to emerge. The energy is palpable from the fans and they start chanting for SOSA.)
Cy Henderson: So, what is it going to be, SOSA? You gonna walk out here, look me in the eyes, and prove you’ve got the guts? Or are you going to stay back there and let everyone see the truth that you’re not ready for this, and you’re not ready for me?
(Cy steps back, waiting.)
Stew-O: He really wants SOSA Henderson to show up and answer his call! But will he?!
(…)
(…)
(…)
(Then, “Faneto” by Chief Keef hits, causing the fans to come to a raucous ovation. SOSA Henderson comes on out, having an almost amused look on his face as she looks back at Cy on the stage. The latter, however, was not impressed.)
Cy Henderson: Well? What are you waiting for? Come on in.
(SOSA jokingly places his hand on his chest, and can be seen mouthing off, “someone’s demanding”. However, with him present in the flesh, he goes ahead and treks down to the ring.)
Jake Mercer: Ask and you shall receive! SOSA is back on Dynasty for now, and I guess he will be accepting Cy’s challenge after all!
(He enters the ring and waves for a microphone, which he is given. ‘Faneto’ fades and he looks at Cy, chuckling.)
SOSA Henderson: Aight, man… first thing’s first: you ain’t gonna tell me to hurry up. I roll on my time, okay?
(Cy’s nose crinkles in frustration.)
Cy Henderson: That’s fine and dandy, but honestly, I don’t care.
SOSA Henderson: Cool, ‘cause guess what?
(He immediately gets right into his face.)
SOSA Henderson: I don’t give a damn about what you think.
Crowd: !!!
(Both men stare daggers into one another. However, no fight occurs. SOSA takes a step back and speaks once more, never letting his attention on Cy waver.)
SOSA Henderson: I mean, I can’t even lie to you, man. It’s kinda sad how you’re heated over the fact that you just simply weren’t good enough to finish me off. I don’t mind you wanting a match, I don’t back down from challenges, so you can go ahead and smile and stop pouring up your face ‘cause my answer is obvious. Yes, I’ll face you at House of Glass.
(The fans cheer for that, knowing that just like that, the match between them was official. Cy has a little smug look on his face, which SOSA catches on to.)
SOSA Henderson: Aye, don’t be giving yourself a pat on the back just yet. None of this is gonna end well for you. You out here saying I got some unjustified swagger from beating you, well, of course I’m gonna be feeling good when I eliminated you and Limmy at the same time and made you both look like fools by the end of the night. And seeing as how I’m currently the 24/7 contract holder, that only shows that I really am that dude when it comes down to it. However, with what you been having to say, you almost talking down on me like as if I’m some rookie or whatever. I mean, damn. I know I myself have had does down slopes in my career, but people like you be forgetting that I was a world champion, a multi-time champion, and depending on how things turn out… this season just might solidify my place in the hall of fame sooner rather than later. It’s definitely weird too, cause at least with our interactions leading up to Territorial Invasion with our promos, we weren’t really tearing into each other like that. We even shared our respect for one another. But now you wanna switch up and let your true colors bleed? That’s crazy.
Cy Henderson: Oh, well, SOSA. Respect doesn’t matter at this rate. I know I am better than you, so I want to be able to prove that. Simple. You don’t have to like how I carry myself now, but I’m not going to apologize for understanding my worth as a competitor.
SOSA Henderson: Okay? No one says you gotta apologize for that. In fact, you should feel like you’re one of the best because you are. However, so am I, and you can feel how you want to feel, but nothing’s gonna change the fact that I DID prove myself against you once already, and I’m going to do it all over again in just two weeks.
Cy Henderson: So you say. However, you need to understand my overall point. I’ve beaten people like you before. I have been consistent in that. Your loss to me was essentially an anomaly when it comes to me.
SOSA Henderson: :mjlol: !!! I don’t know about all of that. After all, didn’t you lose to Myles the week before? And on the topic of him… you know, I could’ve sworn there was a certain someone who was aggy with him all because they shat the bed at Territorial Invasion last year themselves and wanted that get back for themself, but not only did that not end up happening… but their career ended. 🤔
Crowd: 😳
(Cy narrows his eyes. However, SOSA gives him a cheeky smirk.)
SOSA Henderson: So, if anything, Cy? You’re not seething yourself up for a comeback at my expense. It’s just disappointment. Still, this is what you wanted. I’m not gonna try and convince you not to go down this route with me. 🤷🏾♂️ It’s going to be another check in the win column for me, and if I can own you at back-to-back marquee events, then that’s just gonna show everyone that they can’t fuck with me.
(SOSA grinned.)
SOSA Henderson: And Cy? You certainly can’t.
(SOSA drops his microphone and backs off, leaving the ring. ‘Faneto’ plays once more, and Cy remains in the center, glaring at the confident and brazen man who made it be known that he was not going to be backing down to the likes of him.)
Stew-O: What a declaration from SOSA, and Cy is not happy whatsoever!
Jake Mercer: I don’t blame him! SOSA pretty much came on his turf and told him what was going to go down! I just know Cy isn’t going to stand for that though, my GOAT! 🐐
Flannery McCoy: Yeah, Cy sure does look heated… :lupe: But the central thing is that SOSA gave Cy his answer. Now, we just have to wait and see which of these two men will leave House of Glass as the better Elitist.
(The shot focuses on Cy Henderson’s scowling countenance before Dynasty fades to the final set of commercials for the night.)
(A commercial plays for Walmart, featuring Minerva and Myles enjoying a selection of everything pumpkin spiced. 😋)
(The camera pans to the commentary booth, as ‘Invincible’ by Pop Smoke can be blaring throughout the speakers while Chris Elite takes his seat at the desk alongside the usual announce team.)
Stew-O: Ladies and gentlemen, for tonight’s main event we give a welcome to EAW Hall of Famer, Chris Elite, who will be joining us at the desk!
Chris Elite: Here to watch what the Interwire Champ’ is all about, focused on what I should know. Gotta be here, maybe he’ll try impressing a little more ‘cause of me.
(The camera cuts to Stephie Love in the ring.)
Stephie Love: The following main event contest is scheduled for one fall!
Crowd: ONE FALL!
(‘The Leaving Song Pt. II’ by AFI can be heard throughout the speakers as the crowd allows their applause to be heard. Hans Grayson emerges from the back as the Interwire Champion nods to himself in the wake of the main event to come. The waves of elation can be felt throughout the audience as Hans sports a small smile on his face, but maintains focus as he walks down the ramp & spots Chris Elite.)
Bella Braxton: Introducing first! From Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada! Weighing in at 219 pounds… HE IS THE INTERWIRE CHAMPION… HAAAAAAANS GRAYSON!!!
Chris Elite: I see you, champ. Don’t you worry.
Stew-O: Hans Grayson has had quite the roll this season, yet another cycle where he walks into this season as champion and gets to enjoy himself as a reigning champion as well. He has held the Interwire Championship with all of the pride, and he’s not willing to give it up.
Flannery McCoy: Hans has quite the battle ahead of himself though, this is a main event where he’s put up against a threat no elitist in this business should ever overlook. However, I know Hans will be approaching this match with all of the focus.
(‘When Darkness Falls’ by Killswitch Engage is still heard blaring throughout the speakers, with Drake King making his way out from the back & standing at the entrance ramp with a rather cold expression on his face. Drake looks outward with his focus remaining plastered over his face, the crowd continuing to let their reactions be heard as he would proceed to walk down the ramp.)
Stephie Love: Introducing his opponent! Residing from the Dead Sea, Israel, weighing in at 220 pounds… HE IS ‘GOD’, DRAAAAAAKE, KINGGGGGG!!!
Stew-O: There has certainly been a great deal of tension left in the air throughout the course of this show, as Myles has been trying to get a hold of the man who walks out toward his main event contest, only for that to be unceremoniously halted. Drake is posing a rather different outlook to himself, usually I’d see a smirk build up by now.
Chris Elite: Shit ain’t funny now I guess.
Jake Mercer: Drake King needs no introduction of course, multi-time World Champion with a world of acclaim to his name despite the negativity that has constantly surrounded his stature, yet he’s here to deliver on securing the victory tonight against the Interwire Champion. Hans has quite the test ahead, which I’m certain will deliver on a hell of a bout.
(DING! DING! DING!)
Stew-O: And we’re off!!! Drake King taking on Hans Grayson right here in the main event of Dynasty! We have quite the battle to showcase for the entire wrestling sphere tonight with two elitists who will certainly deliver on the match that is expected of them at their caliber! Hans has been the reigning Interwire Champion ever since the season kicked off, and Drake King has made no mistake about making himself one of the most prominent fixtures in Dynasty currently. This is a main event bout where a victory tonight can absolutely increase each of their momentum respectively, an immense opportunity for Hans to defeat an elitist like Drake King of course!
Chris Elite: No surprises there, we already know what Drake can do. Champ better lock in while he can.
Flannery McCoy: Both men motion around the ring and pace around as they’re looking to find the best footing possible to approach one another, with Hans raising his owns arms up in the air as Drake’s doing the same, moving toward each other just before locking themselves into a swift collar—BUT DRAKE OPTS TO REACH AROUND AND WRAP HIS ARM AROUND HIS HEAD! Drake King makes sure that he’s got a headlock applied here, wrenching his arm around Hans’ head as now the Interwire Champion is struggling a fair deal to get himself out of this hold! Although he is now able to back himself and Drake against the ropes, using this additional momentum to shove Drake off.. but Drake maintains the headlock!!! He’s not letting go!
Jake Mercer: Hans is stuck in a rough spot at the moment, but this doesn’t last for too long now as now Grayson’s making Drake stand right back up as he’s hoisting him off of the mat soon after! Drake manages to flip right over Hans and evade any chance of being brought down, as Drake rushes back toward Hans looking for a sudden swing—but Hans ducks the swing as Drake is now rushing the ropes and rebounding back toward him.. DIRECTLY INTO A DROPKICK FROM HANS GRAYSON! Drake shakes his own head as he rolls himself over to the ropes, clutching onto them as he’s looking to bring himself back up and not stay down for too long!
Stew-O: But here’s Hans applying the pressure as he’s now sending a swift KNIFE EDGE CHOP right across Drake King’s chest!! Drake is leaning against the ropes here as Hans isn’t looking to slow himself down for a single second, sending ANOTHER chop across his chest as Drake was feeling every bit of these chops from Hans while they’re heard all around the arena tonight! Drake stumbles over to the corner, with Hans following him accordingly as he aims for a THIRD CHOP to keep Drake at bay for as long as he can!
Chris Elite: We sure Drake just ain’t going easy on him right now?
Flannery McCoy: We can give Hans his credit where he deserves it, he’s been able to keep Drake King at bay for a great deal of the match so far! Now Grayson’s stepping backward shortly before swinging forward with a LARIAT TO THE CORNER—BUT DRAKE CATCHES HIM WITH A BOOT! Hans is sent reeling back as he is clutching his own jaw, trying to shake off the boot to return back toward applying all of the pressure onto Drake here.. BUT DRAKE WITH A SPINNING BACK ELBOW TO ROCK HANS CONSIDERABLY! Hans is struggling here as he now has to hold onto his own temple as Drake shoves him into the corner, stomping into his midsection as Hans doesn’t exactly have the most emphatic means of defending himself right now!
Jake Mercer: This is already shaping up to be quite the issue for Hans here, as Drake refuses to let up on the repeated stomps while the referee is beginning to count down on Drake for the time allotted to him! Hans is being brought into the bottom as he’s leaned against the turnbuckle here with Drake now placing these stomps right over his chest! Before the referee to reach the count of five, he finally backs himself away while raising his own hands in the air as the ref’ surely doesn’t hold himself back from the scolding he’s issuing to the EAW Hall of Famer right now.
Chris Elite: I mean, he’s got a job to do right? Don’t want any clowns overstepping themselves, looking at an example of that right now.
Stew-O: As the referee’s giving Drake quite the earful though, Drake King doesn’t allow himself to remain idle for any significant amount of time as he’s rushing back toward Hans and looking for a boot across the jaw! But Hans is able to maneuver himself through the ropes and onto the apron to evade any measure of disaster in the moment! Now Drake sees that Hans still has a great deal of consciousness to him as he was able to move away from the corner rather quickly, so Drake proceeds to grab a handful of Hans’ hair in order to drag him up! Hans is rising to his own feet as Drake’s still stood within the ring, looking to drive Hans against the RINGPOST–
Flannery McCoy: BUT HANS STOPS HIMSELF WITH A FOOT AGAINST THE POST! Then proceeds to send an elbow spiraling across Drake’s temple in an instant, rocking Drake King just enough to grab a hold of his own head and SLAM HIS HEAD ONTO THE TURNBUCKLE!! Drake is now incredibly disoriented as Hans was able to find himself the opening that he surely needed, now grabbing a hold of Drake’s tights as he’s got his arm around his head as well… PERHAPS LOOKING TO SUPLEX DRAKE KING FROM THE RING AND OVER THE ROPES HERE!
Jake Mercer: BUT DRAKE WITH A SUDDEN KNEE DIRECTLY ACROSS HANS’ SKULL! Hans has no choice but to drop Drake down as he lands onto the same apron where Hans has been situated! Drake is able to recover more quickly than his opponent can as he doesn’t refrain from sending a FOREARM across his temple! Hans is rocked by the forearm, but he doesn’t stop himself from pushing through by sending his own CHOP across the chest of Drake King for good measure! Drake remains on his feet, holding onto the ropes with an arm as he delivers with another forearm! Hans with another chop!!!
Chris Elite: Champ’s doing a good job right now, definitely a lot more resilient than I believed at first.
Stew-O: Drake shakes off the pressure that’s being sent right back to him by the Interwire Champion here, now looking for an elbow–but Hans catches his arm, and sends a knee right across the midsection of Drake King to keep him from retaliating any further! Now Grayson has Drake where he needs him most, in this vulnerable state where he can surely make the most out of his opportunity here as he gets his arms around Drake from behind, making sure that his positioning is suitable enough to pursue a DRAGON SUPLEX ONTO THE HARDEST SECTION OF THE RING–
Flannery McCoy: BUT DRAKE SQUIRMS FREE AND SENDS A SIDE KICK RIGHT ACROSS HANS’ ABDOMEN! Hans clutches his own abdomen with an arm as Drake proceeds to shove him directly into the ringpost right behind him!! Hans is now stumbling forward after being sent into the post, with Drake soon grabbing a hold of him with a hand on his tights & an arm around his head… HOISTING HIM UP FROM THE APRON AS HE SENDS HIM BACK DOWN ONTO THE APRON WITH A FALCON ARROW! My goodness!!! That was a terrible landing for Hans as he slid off the apron and down to the ringside floor!
Jake Mercer: Drake King remains sitting on the apron, leaning back against the ropes as he has given himself ample time here to recover and set aside any worries he may have for the time being! This won’t exactly continue to be a walk in the park from here though, as Hans is showing his own signs of life by using the apron to drag himself back up to his feet, somehow doing all that he can to show he’s still got plenty of fight to continue on dishing out in return! Drake takes notice though, moving down from the apron and to the floor as he heads over to Hans & HOISTS HIM UP–
Stew-O: POWERSLAM ONTO THE BARRICADE!! Hans stumbles down from the barricade and onto the ringside floor as Drake didn’t hold back by any means to place Hans in ongoing agony with the damage dealt to his back! Drake has firmly given himself the most viable realm of opportunity to maintain as much control as he possibly can, now draggin Hans back into the ring before sliding himself back in before the referee could make any count happen! Drake now heads over to Hans and hooks the leg while he can!
ONEEEEEEEE!!!
TWOOOOOOOOO!!!
THR–
Chris Elite: Kick out from Hans, good for him. He better get to showing why he’s the champ I’m gunning for real quick though.
Flannery McCoy: Hans Grayson is still in this match as Drake will need to pivot sooner rather than later to keep up his momentum for the match! Now Drake’s back up to his feet, grabbing a hold of the ropes as he proceeds to stomp down onto Hans’ back with authority! Hans is being placed through the ringer here as he really doesn’t have the proper means of defending himself at the moment! Drake is forced to halt his offense after the referee’s count was about to reach five, as disqualification would not be the right route to go here in order to walk away with his head held high! Hans’ is now leaned against the bottom rope, clutching his own back as Drake focuses on Grayson and rushes toward him AS HE LOOKS FOR THE DROPKI–
Jake Mercer: HANS EMERGES WITH A JUMPING KNEE STRIKE THAT STUNS DRAKE KING TO HELL!! Grayson is able to find his own footing at the nick of time and save himself from further disaster as he had enough wherewithal to fight back in that lapse of recovery he was given! Drake stumbles backward and into the ropes, leaned back as he is holding onto his own jaw after the knee landed square across his chin! Drake is soon dragging himself back up to his own two feet while Hans is trying to do the same, as he rushes toward Hans and looks to not let go of any of the control he had prior–BUT HANS THINKS QUICKLY AND DUCKS THE SWING!
Stew-O: As Drake is just as eager to turn himself back around toward Hans Grayson–DIRECTLY INTO A PELE KICK FROM THE INTERWIRE CHAMPION! Drake is stunned by a considerable margin as he’s struggling to keep himself in any formidable stance! Hans is moving back up to his own feet as he rushes forward and leaps up with a HURRICANRANA THAT SENDS DRAKE KING THROUGH THE ROPES & DOWN TO THE RINGSIDE FLOOR!! Hans takes notice to Drake as he’s trying to do his very best to return back to his own measure of offense toward him! Drake DOESN’T EVEN REALIZE WHAT’S HEADED HIS WAY!!
Flannery McCoy: TOPE CON HILO FROM HANS GRAYSON RIGHT THEN & THERE TAKES DRAKE KING BACK DOWN!!! Hans is sitting up, fighting through the pain as he’s been throwing out all of the stops in order to have the possibility here of defeating a competitor as acclaimed in accolades as Drake King! Now Hans is doing everything that he can to drag Drake back into the ring, and he’s dragging himself up to the apron with Drake refusing to keep himself down for all too long… LEAPING UP ONTO THE TOP TURNBUCKLE AND LAUNCHING OFF WITH A CROSSBODY ONTO DRAKE!! THE COVER!!
ONEEEEEEEE!!!
TWOOOOOOOOO!!!
THR–
Jake Mercer: NOT ENOUGH! Drake still has room to kick out and keep the match rolling on!! Hans is crawling himself over toward the ropes closest to him, dragging himself back up as this match has certainly placed a greater deal of strain over him! Grayson’s not looking to waste any more time than what he’s been given while Drake is slowly returning back up to his own two feet, as Hans is ready to put him back down & continue imposing the control that’s absolutely needed of him right here… with Drake slowly but surely making the turn toward him as HANS RUSHES AT DRAKE AND SEEKING OUT THE ‘FLAMING PUNCH’—
Stew-O: ROUNDHOUSE KICK CATCHES HANS SQUARE ACROSS THE JAW RIGHT THERE!! Drake King with an expertly calculated reversal toward Hans’ punch that would’ve connected if Drake didn’t intend on reacting at the nick of time! Hans is on a knee as Drake is far more quick to dragging Hans directly into his arms, hoisting him upward as he’s not wasting another moment to put Hans back DOWN WITH THE CHICKENWING FACEBUSTER!! Hans is reeling for certain here as Drake’s now turning him over!!!
Chris Elite: With the shoulders down, is my guy really looking to show out this poorly when I’m sitting right here?
ONEEEEEEEE!!!
TWOOOOOOOOO!!!
THREE—
Flannery McCoy: STILL NOT ENOUGH!! Hans Grayson is proving himself as a competitor who is willing to remain as resilient as he needs to be in the face of an elitist like Drake King! Drake’s sitting up, flicking his own hair back as he’s shaking his head while glancing to Hans, perhaps wondering exactly why Hans is still so inclined to keep the battle going! Drake’s rising back up to his feet anyhow, as Hans is prone but moving, trying to crawl however much he can as Drake’s pulling him over to the middle of the ring, getting his arms interlocked here as HE’S LOOKING TO PUT HIM DOWN WITH ‘ASCENSION’—
Jake Mercer: HANS SQUIRMS FREE AS HE TWISTS & TURNS WITH A GRASP OF DRAKE’S WRIST—AS HE PULLS DRAKE DIRECTLY INTO A CLOTHESLINE!! Drake is knocked down briefly as he’s shooting back up, staggered out of his mind as Hans is fighting through all of the pain right now, keeping himself moving as he’s focused! With Drake remaining in his own line of sights, Hans is rushing back over toward his opponent and LOOKING TO SEND HIM SPIRALING WITH ANOTHER HURRICANRANA!!!
Stew-O: BUT DRAKE CAUGHT HIM UPWARD AS HANS IS NOW PRONE ONTO HIS SHOULDERS! Hans is absolutely wide eyed right now as Drake has Grayson right over his own shoulders, with Hans unable to retaliate or even squirm as DRAKE IS RUNNING TOWARD THE CORNER & NAILS THE BUCKLE BOMB ONTO THE TURNBUCKLE!! The buckle bomb connects as Hans’ back surely suffers greatly from having to undergo further damage to his own back—
Flannery McCoy: HANS LEAPS FORWARD AND NAILS THE ‘FLAMING PUNCH’ ONTO DRAKE KING AFTER THE BUCKLE BOMB!!!! HOW?!? HANS WITH HIS LAST SHRED OF ENERGY CONNECTS WITH THE PUNCH AS DRAKE SLUMPS ONTO THE MAT! HANS DRAPES HIMSELF OVER HIM!!!
ONEEEEEEEE!!!
TWOOOOOOOOO!!!
THREE—
Jake Mercer: NO! DRAKE KING KICKS OUT!!! Hans isn’t able to put Drake down for the count!!! An incredible flurry that was just displayed right there in front of everyone watching but not enough to secure victory! Drake’s shoulder shoots up as Hans sits himself up now, breathing heavily as he’s now rolling himself away from Drake King & motioning under the bottom rope to remain on the apron! He’s created valuable space between himself and his opponent, slowly dragging himself back up as he’s trying to put the exclamation mark on this match!
Chris Elite: Better not give him too much time either, Drake’s always got his tricks up his sleeve.
Stew-O: Drake is slowly rising back up to his feet now, as Hans is doing all that he can to assure he’s ready for what comes next! With Drake King on wobbly legs and still considerably rocked due to the punch he had to be met with across the jaw, he may have no idea where Hans Grayson even is… AS HE SLOWLY TURNS TOWARD HANS WHO LEAPS OVER THE TOP ROPE AND MOVES FORWARD FOR ‘BURNING SHOT LARIAT’—
Flannery McCoy: SUPERKICK CATCHES HANS SQUARE ACROSS THE JAW!! Hans drops down to a knee as Drake pulls Hans in with his arms interlocked around his own here as he’s got Hans exactly where he’s needed TO SEND HIM BACK DOWN ONTO THE MAT WITH THE ‘ASCENSION’ PEDIGREE!! DRAKE ROLLS HANS OVER AND HOOKS THE LEG FOR THE PIN!!!
ONEEEEEEEE!!!
TWOOOOOOOOO!!!
THREE—
Jake Mercer: HANS KICKS OUT!! HE’S STILL FIGHTING! Drake’s now feeling the frustration fester within him, shaking his own head as he’s crawling over to the corner, his eyes now focused back on Hans Grayson while the Interwire Champion is slowly rising back up to a prone position! Drake’s lying in wait, as Hans crawling himself around with his head raised from the mat.. JUST ENOUGH FOR DRAKE TO RUSH FORWARD FOR ‘JUDGMENT DAY’!!!
Stew-O: HANS SIDE STEPS THE CURB STOMP!! HE SWIFTLY MOVES BEHIND DRAKE—AND DROPS HIM WITH A POISONRANA!!! DRAKE WAS JUST SPIKED ONTO THE BACK OF HIS NECK AS HE’S LAID OUT! Now Hans is eagerly fighting through the strife he’s been dealt through the battle, crawling over to the ropes as he’s bringing himself up to the apron!!! Hans is doing all that he can to climb up as quickly as he can with Drake King not moving for a single second!!! He’s UP TOP, AND LEAPS OFF FOR THE ‘GRAYSON SPLASH’—
Flannery McCoy: DRAKE MOVES!!! HE MOVED AT THE NICK OF TIME AS HANS ENTIRE BODY LANDS ONTO THE COLD MAT!! Hans is hurting considerably here as Drake was lying there seemingly as a way of making Hans commit to the 450! Drake’s back up to his feet here as he RUSHES FORWARD—
Jake Mercer: ‘JUDGMENT DAY’!!! CURB STOMP CONNECTS AS HANS IS A GONER! DRAKE HOOKS THE LEG AS THE REFEREE COUNTS THE PIN!!
ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
(DING! DING! DING!)
Stephie Love: HERE IS YOUR WINNER… DRAAAAAAKE KING!!!
Chris Elite: So that’s all she wrote. He gave him the fight though, but I’ve got enough of a watch to know what I’m working with. Tough luck, champ.
Flannery McCoy: Another great main event contest right here on Dynasty that ends with Drake King emerging as the victor tonight! Hans Grayson certainly put up the battle that he always yearns to give to any of his opponents, and this was a reminder of how he will always pursue any competitive environment where he can thrive!
Jake Mercer: Hans did give one hell of a fight, but Drake was just one step ahead tonight, lying dead like a possum for Hans to launch himself off to keep Drake down for the count, which the EAW Hall of Famer took advantage of… uh… are we not noticing the look that Drake’s giving to the people right now?
Stew-O: Considering what’s been transpiring throughout tonight’s Dynasty, it’s safe to assume we can’t write Drake off from having no inclusion… regardless, it’s a successful match for him as Hans Grayson certainly put up a fight worth watching for our commentary partner. Congratulations to Drake King, and thank you all for tuning in to Dynasty! See you next week!
(‘When Darkness Falls’ by Killswitch Engage can be heard throughout the speakers once more, as the referee raises Drake King’s arm while Hans leans back against the ropes, shaking his own head as he’s glancing over to Chris Elite, who stands up from the announce table with his arms crossed, giving Hans the nod. Drake poses a rather differentiated demeanor as he stands in the middle of the ring, posing a far more menacing expression as he’s glaring directly toward the audience. An ominous message to send without uttering a single word, as the scene soon fades.)
(EAW logo buzzes.)
