As this match begins, Rory Slate takes a quick lead; taking Delilah down and quickly beginning to gloat, pestering her opponent with a huge grin on her face, as she quickly looks to put this match away with a ‘GTFO’, her Double Armed DDT, but with some quick thinking; Delilah manages to wriggle out of the hold and lay out Rory Slate with a massive forearm shot. Delilah looking to take advantage of Rory’s cockiness, grabbing and pulling her to the center of the ring as she locks in a Boston Crab submission hold, but Rory Slate manages to get to the ropes before tapping out, keeping herself alive in this match. Delilah though still making sure she maintains control over this match; laying in powerful offense that earns her a couple of close pinfalls, with Rory Slate inevitably kicking out each time around the count of two. Now, with most of her offensive scheme being laid into Rory, Delilah Rose looked to land her finishing maneuver, the ‘Final Calling’, but Rory manages to get out just in time and successfully land her signature maneuver, ‘Protect Ya Neck’, and lands a NEAR win off of a pinfall; but Delilah Rose kicks out. Rory Slate begins to take an offensive hold over the match though, laying Delilah out with multiple high impact maneuvers, with the pinfalls growing closer and closer in succession; as Rory Slate was looking for it all one final time, looking to land a MASSIVE ‘GTFO’ which she does in succession, looking for the pin; but Delilah Rose luckily has her foot on one of the ropes, saving the match. With Rory now looking to call back to her Double Hand Hooked DDT to secure the win, Delilah manages to reverse; shocking Rory as Delilah manages to drop her opponent to her knees, in prime positioning for her Shining Wizard To The Head, ‘Kiss Goodnight’, which is enough to secure her the pinfall victory tonight; declaring her the winner.
Madison Hansen vs. Marilyn Johnson
Two blondes with big aspirations paved way for an interesting matchup. Neither Elitists were shy about letting their confidence, and that was on full display as Marilyn and Madison constantly taunted each other, all while trying to outdo the other. They traded all sorts of moves and holds. However, Madison would start to build up momentum for herself after delivering a nasty-looking tiger driver onto Marilyn on the apron! The move brought her to a close three count, much to her chagrin. Still, she did her best to keep the pressure up. She had another near-fall after hitting her ‘Meet the Heels’ discus big boot, but Marilyn showed off just how tough she was! An overzealous Madison went for the ‘Money Talks’, but Marilyn was able to reverse it and hit her ‘Kiss of Misfortune’ STO Backbreaker! The move garnered her a two-count. From there, Marilyn was building up a comeback – even going so far as to hit the standing moonsault she dubbed ‘Falling in Love’. Another near-fall resulted in the match persisting. Madison was able to gather her bearings and the two fought, forgoing any trades of egos with fists and moves. In the end, Madison blocked Marilyn’s attempt at locking in the ‘Love’s Deadly Grip’ octopus hold and powered her way out, driving her down with the ‘The Runaway’! She scored the win. It was a competitive affair, especially towards the end. However, the ‘Ultra-Star’ gets to rebound from the loss she suffered previously. Still, there’s no shame for the ‘Irrestiable Poison’ to have in regards to her efforts. Both ladies looked good after the twelve-minute affair.
Nyx vs. Morray Turner
To begin this match, the instant moment winner would by Nyx; taking battle quickly to Morray Turner who simply did not expect the fierce outburst Nyx had coming for him, being struck blow for blow by Nyx, with Morray Turner trying to fight back in order to preserve himself in this match-up; but Nyx quickly extinguishing his comeback, laying him out as Nyx tried to hold him down in multiple pin attempts, though no matter how many pin attempts Nyx had, Morray would continue keeping himself alive in this match with a numerous amount of kickouts. And suddenly, right as Nyx was going for one of her signature maneuvers; Morray would turn the tables in this match-up with a quick reversal, not allowing himself to get ran through as he quickly begins applying more pressure on Nyx, laying her out with a numerous amount of high impact blows, even looking to take her out with a huge powerbomb off the middle rope, that got a near three-count. Morray would be sizing Nyx up to fall victim to one of his signatures, his Spear ‘Break The Cage’, though RIGHT before Morray could connect, Nyx raises her boot and flattens her opponent. With Nyx now getting up, looking to nail Morray Turner with her, ‘Holy Ghost’ Lifting High Knee, Morray shocks Nyx with a ‘Break The Cage’ Spear that he previously missed, getting a CLOSE three count; but Nyx barely kicks out. As Morray shortly after lifts Nyx, looking for his finishing maneuver, ‘Goliath Wins Again’, but Nyx somehow slips off; pushing Morray forward into the ropes as he rebounds off right into her finishing maneuver, the ‘Nirvana’ Spear; which is enough to take Morray down and keep him down for a three count, declaring Nyx the winner.
Kasai vs. Bea Valentine
Kasai and Bea Valentine were opponents for ths bout – a match featuring two young women who are well-travelled and well accomplished, but who are looking to make it big in the Land of Elite. The calm yet deadly determination of “The Huntress” is a stark contrast to the confident-bordering-on-cocky attitude of “Queen Bea”. The opening minutes saw Kasai getting the better of Bea, relying on quick strikes and precise holds and counters in order to stump her opponent. However, Bea’s opening came after driving Kasai into the turnbuckle following a hammerlock reversal. From there, Valentine’s ego was on ten as she was able to lay in some offense while talking some smack to her opponent. She focused on the arm, honing on what became a vital limb. Bea was able to hit a ‘Bea Swarm’ to Kasai to net a two count. Displeased, she’d argue with the referee, and that paved the way for Kasai to almost put her away with reverse cutter! A near-fall followed, and she sought to keep the momentum up with more striking. The tide turned when Kasai got Bea down after a roundhouse and looked for the Moonsault Legdrop. Bea rolled out of the way, and as Kasai was getting up, Valentine struck her down with the ‘Bea Sting’ mushroom stomp! That sealed the day, and Bea Valentine was able to pick up the win a little while after the ten minute mark!
Michael Machina vs. Valerie Hellstorm
Then finally, we reach our main event of the evening, pitching Showdown’s Michael Machina against Dynasty’s Valerie Hellstorm. Michael has an undefeated streak since his debut that he looks to keep up, and Valerie looks to reprimand the double countout that occurred in her debut. Both of them come out of the gate guns blazing, making sure to get their hits in early. Valerie knows the size advantage that Michael has over her, and attacks with a variety of fast paced offense that Michael is unable to keep up with. At times though, Michael gets the better of her and spends a significant chunk of his offense using his strength and power to manhandle Valerie. Valerie gets a hair away from victory, connecting with her finishing ‘Snapshot’ Stunner to Michael after reversing a ‘Money Shot’ Clothesline From Hell, but Michael is too close to the ropes and at the last second manages to grab a hold of them. The match comes to a close with Valerie attempting a desperate Slingshot Lariat, only for Michael to pop her off the ground and connect with a ‘.50 Cal’ for the pinfall victory to make him 4-0 in his EAW career.
