SG1: Welcome to Thursday Night Empire! We are in week three of the 2018 Empress of Elite tournament! I’m SG1 here with my colleague Alicia Amby and our special guest during EOE season, the EAW Unified Women’s Champion, Stephanie Matsuda!
Alicia Amby: Good evening everyone!
Stephanie Matsuda: Yo.
SG1: Last week had to be the week of surprise upsets! Three favorites – Chelsea Crowe, Andrea Valentine, and Madison Kaline were eliminated by Consuela Rose Ava, Kassidy Heart and Layla Lockhart respectively!
Stephanie: That’s what i loved about the EOE – everyone brings their A-game! I remember defeating the likes of Kendra Shamez and Tarah Nova two years ago! These were two women who people thought would never lose to someone like me. EOE is a different beast than the rest of the season, regardless of what format it’s in.
Alicia: You also eliminated Sheridan Muller and Cailin Dillon consecutively, last year!
Stephanie: Let me tell you guys something – those were two of the hardest victories of my life until the Iconic Gauntlet!
SG1: I’m sure it was! We are currently in the semi-finals of the EOE! Let’s take a look at the bracket…

SG1: Tonight is chock full of match of the year candidates! Consuela Rose Ava vs Tyler Wolfe! Astraea Jordan vs Jael Arcana-Rosario! Kassidy Heart vs Layla Lockhart! And tonight’s main event – Raven Roberts vs Sienna Jade!
Alicia: This will be Raven’s second main event during the EOE! I don’t know what it is, but she’s doing something right!
Stephanie: She’s winning matches – in this tournament, that’s all you need to do!
SG1: I can definitely co-sign with that! Let’s get to the action! Tonight, we have the first match in the second chance initiative! Take it away Cori!
(“It’s My Turn” — Jeff Williams feat. Casey Lee Williams plays as the crowd stands up for The Pride as Revy and Remi Skyfire post on top of the ramp before making their way down to the ring.)
Cori Simmons: The following match is a tag team match and it’s scheduled for ONE FALL —
Crowd: ONE FALL!!
Cori Simmons: Introducing first, they are the team of “The Brilliant Brawler”, Revy and the EAW Specialists Champion, Remi Skyfire! They are THE PRRRRRRIDDDDDEEEEEEE!!
Alicia Amby: Revy and Remi Skyfire are two women who made early exits in the Empress of Elite Tournament thanks to Astraea Jordan and Raven Roberts. They are hoping to bounce back from their victories with this tag team match!
SG1: This is one of the first times we are seeing Revy and Remi team up as The Pride. They have chemistry for sure, but they are up against great competition.
(“Raise Hell” — Dorothy plays as Daisy Thrash comes out and does her pose on top of the ramp. She makes it down the ring where she tags the hands of the fans.)
Cori Simmons: Introducing their opponents, first, from Seattle, Washington, she is “The Razorblade Snowflake”, DAAAAAISSSSSSSSSSYYYYY THHHHHRRRRRAAASSSSSHHHHHH!!
SG1: Here is a woman who was one of the more shocking exits out of the Empress of Elite Tournament! I thought Daisy Thrash was a huge favorite going into this tournament, but Tyler Wolfe managed to eliminate her from the first round.
Alicia Amby: Daisy is still someone who is looking to get back in the title picture and with a victory this week, it might place her in the right direction!
(“This Can Be Anywhere In The World” — Alexisonfire plays as Madison Kaline comes out with an angry and serious look on her face.)
Cori Simmons: Introducing her partner, Tampa Bay, Florida, she is “The Mistress of Death”, MAAAAAAAADIIIIIIIISSSSSSSONNNNNNNN KAAAAAAALIIIIINNNNNNEEEE!!
Alicia Amby: Here is a woman who is upset at the fact that she will not be a back-to-back Empress of Elite after being eliminated by The Pride’s Layla Lockhart in one of the biggest shocks in the tournament!
Stephanie Matsuda: If I were Revy or Remi, I would not want to be in the same ring as her. :lupe:
(Ding! Ding! Ding!)
SG1: Revy starting for The Pride here and Madison starting for her side as these two lock up in the center, oof not for too long though, nice shot to the gut there by Revy, hooks Madison into a waistlock and a nice belly to belly suplex to take Madison down to the mat. Madison Kaline clutches her back in pain as she gets herself up, only for Revy to connect with a single leg dropkick on Madison who falls to the ground! Revy gets Madison up and whips her to the corner! Revy runs and connects with a hesitation dropkick on Madison, who has her back slide on her way down to a seating position! Revy distances herself a bit before she runs and connects with a cannonball senton on Madison! Madison is not looking good in the start of this match!
Alicia Amby: Chinlock on Madison now by Revy as Remi claps her hands on the apron, the crowd eating out of the palm of her hand as the leader of The Pride looks to continue her group’s momentum. Madison to one knee, fighting the chinlock and forcing Revy’s fingers apart before FOREARM right across the face of Revy, sending her stumbling. Madison seems like she is finding some momentum to dominate this match! Madison grabs Revy by the hair and throws her across the ring like a ragdoll! Madison jumps and connects with a Lou Thesz Press on Revy! Madison is grabbing Revy by her hair as she slams her up and down before throwing some punches to Revy’s face! Madison is almost like a deranged woman as she gets up and gives a loud battlecry!
Stephanie Matsuda: Madison’s gonna follow up, runs to Revy, Revy’s expecting that Afterlife Clothesline that Madison has put so many away with, Revy ducks-
Alicia Amby: M.O.D.!! Madison with the fakeout, connects the Fameouser because of Revy expecting the Afterlife, cover!
Jesse Carlton: OOONE!! TWOOO!!
SG1: Kickout at two by Revy, who wisely rolls to the ringside area after being caught off guard like that! Madison is looking at our official. She smacks her hands three times, trying to convince our official of the match that it was a three count! Our official is not falling for any of Madison’s proclamations! If she believes that it was a two count, it is a two count!
Stephanie Matsuda: You can’t sleep on someone like Madison Kaline, she’s had her place in the Empress of Elite taken from her and you can be sure she’s out here looking to remind everyone what she can do. Ever since Pain for Pride, Madison Kaline has been more angry. Getting eliminated in the first round of the Empress of Elite Tournament has lit a fire underneath her! She does not want to suffer another loss again! She is sick of not being given the opportunities that she believes she is deserving of!
SG1: Revy crawls to her corner here looking for Remi but Madison leaps clean over Revy with a vicious knee to the face of Remi sending our Specialists Champion to the floor! Madison irish whips Revy back to her corner and charges, back elbow right in the face of Revy! Madison with a crackle at Remi Skyfire falling to the floor! It seems like Madison is not getting another loss tonight! Daisy Thrash looks more than exciting to get into this match!
Alicia Amby: Tag made here by Daisy Thrash! Madison doesn’t look too happy about it either! Madison actually arguing with the ref and Daisy here, trying to force Daisy to tag back out as Revy slips around them unnoticed! Madison is close to screaming and yelling! In her eyes, she doesn’t need a partner! She can handle The Pride all by herself! Daisy Thrash is trying to be the reasonable one out of the two and try to reason with Madison to get back into the corner! The two women have no idea that Revy is out of their sight! These two are focused on arguing one another, The Pride is looking to make some sort of comeback in this match!
(Remi Skyfire is shown recovering ringside as Revy crotches down to check on her.)
Revy: Are you okay, my sweet babboo?
Remi Skyfire: Revy, you know what to do.
Stephanie Matsuda: Revy has a smirk on her face. That cannot be a good thing as she enters the ring! Daisy Thrash runs after her, but Revy with the SHOOTING PEACH! Running Hip Attack to Daisy as her head bounces off the turnbuckle! Revy begins to fire away with a series of fists as Daisy tries to fight back with her own set of fists! Daisy manages to throw a giant punch at Revy’s face before getting onto the top rope and connecting with a missile dropkick to Revy! Revy rolls to her corner as Remi Skyfire tags herself into the match!
SG1: Remi Skyfire now the legal participant in this match as Daisy goes right after Remi, who catches her and connects with a German suplex throwing Daisy across the ring! Daisy is holding her back in pain as she gets up and Remi connects with a discus lariat as Daisy goes spinning around like a freaking top! Remi gets Daisy by the hair and whips her to the corner! Daisy is trying to hold on to each sides of the corner as Remi runs and connects with a powerful clothesline! No! Daisy manages to duck and connect with a low dropkick, sending Remi to her knees! Daisy connects with a back kick to Remi’s head, but that was not enough to knock her down! Daisy distances herself before she runs and connects with Shining Witch, the shining wizard as she starts to get fired up!
Alicia Amby:What in the hell? Madison Kaline tags herself back into the match! Why would she do that? Daisy was taking care of everything up until Madison tagged herself back into the match? Daisy looks angry as Madison Kaline is telling her to get back to their corner! The two women are arguing with one another like they are in the beginning of the match! Will anything get done?
Stephanie Matsuda: DAISY THRASH WITH A HUGE SLAP TO MADISON KALINE’S FACE! DAISY GIVES MADISON THE BIRD BEFORE PUSHING HER TOWARDS REMI SKYFIRE AND REMI! MADISON HAS NO IDEA WHAT IS BEHIND HER, BUT THIS CANNOT BE GOOD! MADISON TURNS AROUND!
SG1: Revy with a kick to Madison’s stomach! THE OUTLAW STUNNER! Wheelbarrow Stunner by Revy and Remi connects as Remi goes for the cover! Daisy Thrash is making her way up the ramp as she could not longer give a damn about this match! She is done with Madison’s attitude! Remi Skyfire goes for the cover!
Jesse Carlton: OOOOOOONE!! TWOOOOOOO!! THREEEEEEEEE!!

(“It’s My Turn” plays as Revy and Remi stand together in the ring, Remi bouncing on her heels with her title over her shoulder)
Cori Simmons: Here are your winners, Revy and the EAW Speciaists Champion, Remi Skyfire, THE PRRRRRRRRRRIDDDDDDDDDEEEE!
Alicia Amby: Madison Kaline costed her team the victory! The Pride took advantage of the disfunction between Daisy Thrash and Madison Kaline!
(Daisy Thrash is seen on top of the ramp with a grin on her face as she gives a thumbs up to The Pride for taking care of Madison before she makes her way to the back.)
SG1: Madison Kaline’s string of bad luck continues. She needs to make a comeback soon. As for right now, The Pride prevails on this episode of Empire!
Stephanie Matsuda: Daisy full happy with a loss
(COMMERCIAL BREAK – Midsummer Massacre! Live July 28th! Only on the EAW Network!)
(Kassidy Heart is seen standing in the backstage area, preparing herself for her Empress of Elite quarterfinal match. Preparation for Kassidy meant making duck faces into her SnapChat app. This goes on for several seconds. As the blonde starts swiping through the various filters, someone approaches her from behind and taps her on the shoulder.)
???: “You’ve seriously been the hardest person to reach lately!”
(Kassidy looks up from her phone and makes a sour face, before slowly turning around. Standing behind her and smiling from ear-to-ear is her older brother and business manager, Philip Corvington III.)
Kassidy Heart: “That’s probably because I’ve been super busy.”
(Kassidy’s voice is full of attitude towards Philip and she tucks her phone into the pocket of her vintage EAW Xavier Williams hoodie.)
Philip Corvington III: “Oh I’m sure. You’re living the life of a champion now, and who knew you’d get to this point?! Kassidy, my dear little sister, I could not be more proud of you. Your star is so bright right now. You’re a quarterfinalist for Empress of Elite. You’re a tag team champion. The Jaded Wolfe Hearts are going to end up being one of the most dominant forces Elite Answers Wrestling has ever seen as long as you don’t crumble under the pressure of being a top athlete and bring them crashing down. It’s such an exciting time for you. All this on top of newfound personal happiness, confidence, and recovering from a ruptured appendix.”
(Kassidy bristles slightly at this. When it came to Philip, he never did anything without some ulterior motive. Her stock was rising, while Philip’s beloved Gunnar Erikssen found himself unemployed, bitterly unhappy, and locked in a custody battle for his child.)
Kassidy Heart: “Is there a point to this?”
(Philip’s blue eyes look at Kassidy’s Empire Tag Team Championship belt and a sly little smile spreads across his conniving face.)
Philip Corvington III: “Duh, Kass. With everything you have your hands in right now, I know that you’re bound to get overwhelmed. I know that your pretty little head can only deal with so much at one time. I have always handled the business end of things for you because that’s what family does for one another. I mean, I’m the one who negotiated your deal with REVOLT.”
(Philip smirks and places his hands in the pockets of his navy blue dress slacks.)
Philip Corvington III: “So I just wanted to tell you in person that going forward, I’m completely at your disposal. You will be my number one priority going forward and together we will make sure that you don’t disgrace yourself, lose your championship, and bring shame to your stable of gorgeous, beautiful, powerful women. How does that sound??”
(Kassidy gapes at him. The fact Philip is staring at her like he expects her to accept his offer is mind-blowing.)
Kassidy Heart: “Are you serious right now?”
Philip Corvington III: “Of course, Kassi. When have I ever not had your best interests at heart?”
(Like since day one but Kassidy doesn’t say that out loud. She just rolls her eyes.)
Kassidy Heart: “Whatever, Philly. Now if you’ll excuse me, I have Layla Lockhart to prepare for.”
(Kassidy turns her back to Philip and pulls her phone out again. She goes back to swiping through SnapChat filters as the scene fades out. Meanwhile, Layla Lockhart is still in the locker room with members of The Pride – Remi Skyfire, Revy, and Mali Evans)
Remi Skyfire: Listen here, kid. You’re the last one that’s still in this. None of these people even pictured you getting this far, but yet you proved everybody wrong! When those indie smarks thought Tyler Wolfe was going to eat you alive, you proved them wrong! You defeated a former women’s champion on your own!
Revy: Yeah, you’re the bee’s knees and all that jazz!
Mali Evans: Kassy Heart is no pushover, but we all have faith in you. If Sienna tries anything funny, we’ll be right there.
Layla Lockhart: (nods) Thanks guys. I don’t think I would’ve gotten this far without you all.
Remi: Give ‘em hell.
Revy: And a bloody nose for good measure.
Mali: Show her we’re the queens of this jungle. Show her what it means to be in The Pride.
Layla: (smiles) Right!
(Layla walks out the locker room and heads towards gorilla)
(“Unbreakable” — Fireflight plays as the crowd cheers for Layla Lockhart who poses on top of the ramp before going down and tagging the hands of the fans.)
Cori Simmons: This is a SECOND ROUND MATCH in the EMPRESS OF ELITE TOURNAMENT and it’s scheduled for ONE FALL —
Crowd: ONE FALL!!
Cori Simmons: Introducing first, representing The Pride, from Orlando, Florida, she is “The Warrior Princess”, LAAAAAAYYYYLLLLLAAAAA LOOOOOCKKKKKKHAAAAARRRRTTTTT!!
Alicia Amby: Here is the woman who managed to surprise the Empire fans with advancing to the second round of the Empress of Elite tournament! Layla Lockhart managed to eliminate the current Empress of Elite, Madison Kaline from the tournament! I like to say it was the upset of the tournament!
SG1: I agree with that, Alicia! Layla managed to eliminate a favorite in this tournament, but she has a tough task in this second round going up against one-half of the Empire Tag Team Champions, Kassidy Heart!
(“It’s All About Me” — Melanie Mercer plays as the crowd boos loudly for Kassidy Heart who walks out with the Empire Tag Team Championship on her waist.)
Cori Simmons: Introducing her opponent, representing Jaded Hearts, from Sydney, Australia, she is one-half of the Empire Tag Team Champions, KASSSSSSSSIDDDDDDDDYYYYYY HEEEEEAAAARRRRRTT!!
Alicia Amby: Here is a woman who wants to prove that her victory against Andrea Valentine was not a fluke and that she belongs in this tournament! Kassidy Heart is a woman who would love nothing more than to become Empress!
Stephanie Matsuda: Kassidy Heart is fantastic and could potentially become Empress of Elite. I’m ready for her if she wins.

SG1: The Pride’s Layla Lockhart takes on one-half of the Empire Tag Team Champions, Kassidy Heart! Right away in this match, Layla brings the fight to Kassidy as she goes for a series of fists! She is trying to throw enough fists at Kassidy’s direction, so that Kassidy can find herself into the corner! Somehow, Layla gets what she wants as she punches Kassidy all the way to the corner! Kassidy is screaming for the official to get Layla back! Kassidy seems to be using that opportunity to buy her sometime and think about what she wants to do to get Layla down! Layla is backed away from the official as Kassidy takes a deep breath and gets herself up! LAYLA GOES RIGHT AFTER KASSIDY, BUT KASSIDY GRABS LAYLA BY THE ARM AND WHIPS HER TO THE CORNER! KASSIDY BEGINS TO FIRE AWAY IN SOME HEART PUNCHES OF HER OWN! LAYLA IS TRYING TO FIND A WAY OUT OF IT, BUT KASSIDY CONTINUES TO RAPIDLY FIRE AWAY WITH HER HEART PUNCHES! THE LAST HEART PUNCH MAKES LAYLA HOLD HER CHEST! KASSIDY EXTENDS HER LEG AND PLACES HER FOOT ON LAYLA’S NECK AND HOLDS IT THERE!

Stephanie Matsuda: Kassidy Heart releases the hold as she grabs Layla by her arm and whips her to the other corner! Layla lands harshly and tries to hold on each side of the corner! Kassidy quickly connects with a clothesline on Layla, making her crash against the corner! In the process, Layla slides down against the corner! Kassidy plants her foot on the throat of Layla Lockhart! Kassidy holds it there!
Jesse Carlton: ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR! FIVE!
Alicia Amby: Kassidy releases the hold again. The official of the match is holding Kassidy back in order to give Layla some room to breathe. Layla is using the ropes for assistance in getting her up! Kassidy does not give Layla anymore time to do anything as she grabs Layla by the hair and connects with an armdrag! Layla lands in a seated position. Kassidy bounces from the ropes and connects with a low dropkick to the back of Layla’s head! Layla falls onto her side! Kassidy gets Layla up and grabs her by the wrist and connects with a wrist lock! Kassidy transitions the wrist lock, so that she is standing behind Layla as she applies more pressure! She slams Layla stomach first against the mat as she connects with a headlock! Layla is in an all fours position as Kassidy applies the headlock on Layla! Kassidy finds herself into a standing position as she continues to apply the headlock on Layla! Layla manages to push Kassidy onto the ropes! Layla goes right after Kassidy and Kassidy connects with a spinning heel kick that floors Layla Lockhart! Kassidy goes down and goes for the cover on Layla!
Jesse Carlton: OOONE!!
SG1: Layla kicks out as Kassidy rolls her eyes and gets Layla up by the hair! Kassidy runs and slams Layla’s head against the corner! KASSIDY STILL MAINTAINS CONTROL OF LAYLA’S HEAD AND SLAMS IT AGAINST THE CORNER TURNBUCKLE! KASSIDY DOES THE SAME THING FOR A THIRD TIME! OVER AND OVER AGAIN, KASSIDY SLAMS LAYLA’S HEAD AGAINST THE TURNBUCKLE! ALMOST LIKE SHE IS A DERANGED WOMAN, KASSIDY HEART CONTINUES TO SLAM LAYLA’S HEAD AGAINST THE TURNBUCKLE! KASSIDY STOPS AS SHE GIVES OUT A BATTLECRY! KASSIDY HAS COME TO THIS MATCH TO ADVANCE TO THE SEMI-FINALS! SHE DOES NOT WANT TO LOSE TO LAYLA LOCKHART! Layla is looking a little loopy as she is trying to focus on the match that is going on at the moment! Kassidy does not give Layla anytime to breathe as connects with a back kick to Layla’s stomach the moment she tries to approach Kassidy! Kassidy gets Layla in position as she connects with a tornado DDT! Layla Lockhart goes spinning around as Kassidy gets herself up right away. She gets Layla in a seated position as she bounces from the ropes and connects with a shining wizard on Layla! Layla lands on her back as Kassidy goes for the cover!

Stephanie Matsuda: Layla kicks out! This is some of the fighting spirit we saw from Layla last week! Kassidy gets Layla up by her hair! Layla tries to spin around and delivers a back kick to Kassidy Heart in the stomach! Layla bounces from the ropes and connects with a hurricanrana on Kassidy Heart! Kassidy goes flying across the ring! Kassidy tries to scoot herself into the corner as Layla approaches her closer! I do not think that Kassidy was expecting Layla to get any offense in this match! Kassidy tries to use the ropes on each side of her to get herself back up! LAYLA LOCKHART WITH A JUMPING CLOTHESLINE! LAYLA FOLLOWS THAT UP WITH A SERIES OF PUNCHES TO KASSIDY’S FACE! KASSIDY IS TRYING TO COVER HER FACE FROM ANY PUNISHMENT LAYLA IS INFLICTING ON HER, BUT LAYLA CONTINUES TO THROW SOME VICIOUS PUNCHES AT KASSIDY’S FACE! LAYLA TRANSITIONS THE PUNCHES TO CHOPS DIRECTLY TOWARDS KASSIDY’S CHEST! NOW, THOSE CHOPS DO NOT LOOK PLEASANT AT ALL! KASSIDY’S CHEST IS GETTING RED AS LAYLA STOPS AND WHIPS KASSIDY TO THE OPPOSITE CORNER! KASSIDY TRIES TO GRASP ONTO EACH SIDE OF THE CORNER AS LAYLA RUNS AND CONNECTS WITH A DROPKICK TO KASSIDY, MAKING HER SLIDE DOWN IN THE PROCESS!
Alicia Amby: Layla pulls Kassidy towards her and connects with a snap DDT on Kassidy Heart! Layla attempts to go for a cover, but Kassidy kicks out before the official can get in position for the count! KASSIDY AND LAYLA GET UP AND LAYLA CONNECTS WITH A SINGLE LEG DROPKICK ON KASSIDY, KNOCKING HER TO THE GROUND! KASSIDY GETS UP RIGHT AWAY, BUT LAYLA CONNECTS WITH ANOTHER SINGLE LEG DROPKICK! KASSIDY GETS KNOCKED TO THE GROUND! KASSIDY GETS UP RIGHT AWAY AGAIN, BUT LAYLA CONNECTS WITH A THIRD SINGLE LEG DROPKICK, KNOCKING KASSIDY TO THE GROUND AGAIN! KASSIDY GETS HERSELF UP AGAIN, BUT LAYLA CONNECTS WITH A SWITCHBLADE KICK TO KASSIDY’S STOMACH! LAYLA BOUNCES FROM THE ROPES AND CONNECTS TILT-A-WHIRL HEADSCISSORS TAKEDOWN ON KASSIDY HEART! SG1: KASSIDY HEART KICKS OUT! LAYLA GRABS KASSIDY BY HER BLONDE HAIR AND SLAMS HER HEAD AGAINST THE CORNER! OH, CAN WE BE SEEING A LITTLE PAYBACK FROM EARLIER IN THE MATCH? KASSIDY IS SHAKING HER HEAD NOW, BUT LAYLA DOES NOT LISTEN AS SHE SLAMS KASSIDY’S HEAD AGAINST THE TURNBUCKLE OVER AND OVER AGAIN THE CROWD IS LOVING KASSIDY GETTING A TASTE OF HER OWN MEDICINE! KASSIDY IS SCREAMING AS LAYLA CONTINUES TO SLAM HER HEAD AGAINST THE TURNBUCKLE! Kassidy goes backwards a bit as Layla springboards from the ropes and uses that to connect with a savate kick to Kassidy’s face! Kassidy falls back as Layla situates herself on the top rope! What is Layla Lockhart planning to do right now? Layla flies and connects with a diving front dropkick on Kassidy Heart! Kassidy goes flying across the ring as she scooches to the corner in order to give herself some breathing time! (We find ourselves in one of the many boardrooms at the Fox headquarters, with various executives sitting around the table. Three seats remain empty. The execs talk amongst themselves as they wait for their guests of honour to arrive. Suddenly, the door to the boardroom swings open and Jael Arcana-Rosario and Raven Roberts enter the room, dressed in dark business attire. The executives watch as they take their seats at the table, then their eyes go to the door as they wait for the third member of the Crowe’s Nest. Instead, Braxton DeVil walks through the door and takes the final seat, all smiles as he surveys the executives and the two Crowes.)
Fox Executive 1: Where’s Ms. Crowe?
Braxton DeVil: Oh, she was busy, so she sent me instead. She trusts me to lead us all 🙂
(Jael and Raven look over at him in disbelief. He doesn’t seem to notice.)
Fox Executive 1: Right, well…we have some–
(Just then, Chelsea Crowe enters the boardroom, and motions for Braxton to get up out of her seat. He scrambles up to his feet and stands behind the chair like a scolded dog as Chelsea sits down.)
Fox Executive 2: Ah Ms. Crowe, we have to talk about Em–
Chelsea Crowe: Not important. You have ideas for us, right? Demands as per the contracts? We have some as well.
Fox Executive 1: Oh, perfect. Let’s talk about our ideas for you first. First of all, we want to reach the wider LGBT demographic. We know you three have shown support for them in the past, but we’d like to expand on your mission statement of equality and support, and show solidarity with other LGBT members of Empire.
Raven Roberts: Okay…
Fox Executive 1: Namely Remi Skyfire.
(Raven’s face falls.)
Fox Executive 1: As the Specialists Champion and a part of the new breed of Empire, we believe by promoting her, we can pull in higher figures from the LGBT demographic. New people will want to follow her journey as a newcomer herself to EAW, and by showing solidarity with her as the ambassadors of Empire, that will reflect well on us and the brand as a whole. We’re even considering a brief documentary series following a day in her life.
(All three members of the Crowe’s Nest look notably irritated, with Raven showing a slight twitch in her left cheek.)
Fox Executive 2: Is everything alright, Ms. Roberts?
Raven (speaking through a clenched jaw): …yes, of course. That…sounds like a great idea. (clears throat) What other ideas do you have for us?
Fox Executive 1: We would also like you to appear at sponsor events for us, appearing on behalf of Fox and Empire. They won’t require much work: just show up, do any interviews, make sure to represent us in a positive light, and promote us and the sponsor on social media.
Chelsea: Easy. We practically do that already.

Alicia: The Crowes doesn’t seem to be around – not even Braxton. This might be a match Jael wants to handle on her own.
Stephanie: It is. You can tell by the expression on her face.
(Astraea Jordan stares at Cloud and slides into the ring where Jael is glaring at her. Astraea puts a hand to her face and walks past her, focused on the crowd.)

SG1: Jael and Astraea are meeting in the middle of this ring! They lock-up! Jael has the upperhand, but Astraea quickly overpowers her! She pushes Rosario halfway across the ring! Jael looks up, surprised at what just happened! Jordan is showing off tonight!
Alicia: Astraea Jordan is one of these competitors who is going to show you who she is once things set off! Jael is back on her feet and they tie-up once more! Rosario swings around her opponent with a waist-lock! Astraea tosses her over, and knocks her down with a running headbutt! She tries to grab Jael’s legs, but Rosario trips her to the mat! SG1: If Braxton is to make a move it wouldn’t be this early in the match- BRAID WHIP BY ASTRAEA JORDAN TO Braxton!? The ref didn’t see it because he was distracted by Rosario! It looked like Braxton was about to make a move, but Astraea Jordan saw the screw job coming! Jael’s screaming at the top of her lungs! Braxton’s down, holding his face! SG1: She’s wearing down Astraea the best way she knows how! She’s going for a knee bar – Wait! Astraea rolls through! She gets to her feet and attempts a wrist-lock! Jael uses the momentum to slide around, stand, and whips Astraea to the corner! Running knee connects! Kneeling facebuster! Ouch! Astraea’s jaw felt that one! Stephanie: She needs to get out of there

SG1: What a turn of events! Astraea was able to turn things around last second and get the victory!
Alicia: Two members of the Crowe’s Nest are now eliminated! This makes me wonder about the fate of Raven Roberts!

(Empire General Manager Flannery McCoy is backstage, heading to Assistant General Manager Kendra Shamez’s office. When she gets to the door, a gentleman in a business suit walks out and heads down the hall. Flannery furrows her eyebrows a little and makes her way inside the office. Kendra is typing away on her Macbook, focused on the task at hand.)
Flannery McCoy: Uh, was that someone from Showdown? He looks familiar.
Kendra Shamez: Oh, Jack? Yes, we were discussing some things.
Flannery: Regarding…?
(Kendra looks up and smiles)
Kendra: Well remember how we discussed creating interbrand opportunities for our roster?
Flannery: The Empire Initiative.
Kendra: Yes! So I took the liberty of throwing out some feelers and so far Showdown and Dynasty has responded-
Flannery: Wait, Dynasty?
Kendra: Yes! Where do you think I got Cloud’s next opponent from, silly?
Flannery: Someone you still haven’t announced yet. Don’t you think it’s weird how the general manager doesn’t even know the identity of her champion’s next challenger?
Kendra: That’s what makes it so fun! You just have to wait about twenty minutes or so, and all will be revealed. To be honest I’m surprised you haven’t already figured it out.
(Kendra gets up and walks to the door. She turns around, tapping her head)
Kendra: Think about it. By the way, the meeting with the Showdown exec? It was about the Unified Tag Team Championship. Drillmatic holding the belts means we get to share title belts with the blue brand.
Flannery: So Empire currently has what – four and a half championships now?
Kendra: Something like that. You’ve done a hell of a job building this brand to what it is today. From the Iconic Cup, to the Empire Tag Team Championship, and finally to unifying the Women’s World and Freeweight titles…your run is unprecedented! SG1: A heavy favorite to win. After her win over Chelsea Crowe, there’s a chance she could walk away with the crown.
Alicia: A victory tonight would give her a lot of momentum if she meets Astraea Jordan next week.
Stephanie: I have faith in Consuela Rose Ava. She’s held the Specialist Championship twice – still the only one to have done it.
(Consuela climbs into the ring to face off with Tyler Wolfe)

SG1: The ref calls for the bell and – LA RODILLA DE LA MUERTE!!! Tyler Wolfe avoids the running knee and hits the ropes! Running headscissors takedown! Consuela Ava lands on her feet! Tyler ducks the flying clothesline! Waist lock attempt! Consuela flips out of the German suplex! Tyler ducks the roundhouse! She whips Consuela – wait! Ava reverse! Wolfe holds onto the ropes as Consuela’s dropkick hits nothing but air!
Stephanie: Wow!
(Both women take a moment to catch their breath as the crowd applaud in unison)
Alicia: What an intense start! Consuela Rose Ava tried to end things quick by opening the match with her running knee finisher! Tyler Wolfe was smart enough to scout it and what happened next was something extraordinary! Consuela is goading Tyler to the center of the ring. Never oen to back down from a challenge, Wolfe accepts!
SG1: Ava is offering a test of strength – interesting considering how well documented Tyler’s strength is. And as I predicted, it looks like Wolfe is having the upperhand! You can see Ava being bent backwards! Her shoulders are touching the mat!

Consuela manages to lift herself from the mat, but Tyler forces her back down!

Alicia: Ava’s not finished! Elbow drop! A second one! A third one! Four! Five! Ava stops dead in her tracks! JUMPING ELBOW DROP! She makes her way to the nearest corner and starts climbing! Stephanie: That was a smart move on Tyler’s part. She made her think she was playing her game when they were actually playing Tyler’s all along! Regardless though, you can tell Consuela did some damage.

Alicia: Tyler picks up Consuela and rolls her back in the ring. It looked like she wanted to go for a pain, but thought better of it. Kendra Shamez: The EAW Unified Women’s Championship. Born from the fusion of the EAW Women’s World Championship and REVOLT! Freeweight Championship, this title serves as the apex in women’s wrestling around the world. It is also the ONLY active women’s championship in to exist in a unified state. Despite a bumpy start, Stephanie “Cloud” Matsuda has demonstrated to me that she has what it takes to not only be the face of Empire, but EAW’s first and currently only women’s unified champion in history.
(Kendra turns to Cloud)

SG1: The rules of the EAW Women’s World Championship was that any elitist who identified as female could challenge for the belt, though Empire’s general manager gets final say. I’m sure the same rules apply to the Unified Women’s Championship.
Stephanie: So this was her play all along…
Alicia: Send a goddess to take on a queen.
SG1: On the same night an empress is crowned.
Alicia: Cam is one week removed from her title loss to Drillmatic. After everything she’s been through this year, it makes sense she would turn her attention to the place that made her the superstar she is today.

Cameron: You could say I’m here on business, not pleasure. At Grand Rampage 2017, I cashed in the Empire Cup to become the EAW Women’s World Champion – I title I’ve held for only a measly 70 days, making me the shortest reigning champion, despite me being the second woman to ever hold the belt. Out of every belt I’ve held, every reign I’ve had in this company, for me that was the most disappointing. For years I was considered the best the Vixens Division had to offer – someone who successfully crossed barriers without looking back. My success influenced a generation of young women who took control over their own destiny. No offense Stephanie, but all that stuff you’ve been preaching about empowering the division? Been there, done that. Now, it’s time I picked up where I left off.
(Cloud gets up from her seat)
Cameron: Down Cloudy. We’re not gonna fight here. On August 18th, you a shot at immortality with The Goddess of EAW. We’ll see who is the true face of Empire once the dust settles.

SG1: Sienna Jade advanced to the second round with a victory over The Pride’s Mali Evans. Some could say she was in the verge of losing the match until she rolled Mali up and held her by the tights to win. Others say, she was smart and did what she needed to advance.
Stephanie Matsuda: I’m not surprised about how she won the match, but I would love her to prove her worth in this tournament with a no controversial victory over Raven. Same thing for Raven.

Alicia Amby: The main event of the evening is underway as Raven Roberts takes on one-half of the Empire Tag Team Champions, Sienna Jade! The two women approach each other in the center of the ring. There is still a lot of emotions and anger from Pain for Pride with these two women! It was Sienna Jade who pinned Raven Roberts in order to help Jaded Hearts win the Empire Tag Team Championships! In a way, Raven may be looking at this as a way to get a victory over the champion! Sienna looks at this as another opponent to go through in order to move on to the semi-finals! You can cut the tension with these two women! I think this is going to be one of the reasons why this match may be the match of the tournament!
SG1: The two women do not waste any time, but and lock up! Raven manages to push Sienna into one of the corners before Sienna yells for the official to make Raven set back so she can recover from that! Raven rolls her eyes as the official of the match backs Raven away from Sienna. Sienna uses one of her hands to hold onto the ropes and strategize a game plan going into this match! Raven, not wasting anymore time, goes right after Sienna, but Sienna delivers a dropkick to Raven’s feet! In response, Raven falls to her knees! SIENNA RIGHT AWAY CONNECTS WITH STIFF BACK KICK TO RAVEN’S HEAD! SIENNA GOES TO THE FRONT OF RAVEN AND CONNECTS WITH A SUPERKICK, SENDING THE RAVEN-HAIRED BEAUTY TO HER BACK! SIENNA PICKS UP RAVEN UP AND WHIPS HER TO THE CORNER! RAVEN TRIES TO USE HER HANDS TO HOLD ONTO EACH SIDE OF THE CORNER, BUT SIENNA COMES AFTER HER WITH A JUMPING CLOTHESLINE! RAVEN FALLS FORWARD A BIT, BUT SIENNA BEGINS GIVING RAVEN CHOPS TO HER CHEST TO GET HER BACK AGAINST THE CORNER AGAIN! Stephanie Matsuda: Gotta love that temper of Sienna Jade, huh? Sienna takes her eyes off the official and back at Raven as she steps into the middle rope and gets her feet on it! SIENNA BEGINS TO THROW SOME FIERY FISTS ON THE TOP OF RAVEN’S HEAD! ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR! FIVE! SIX! SEVEN! EIGHT! NINE! TEN! TEN FISTS TO THE TOP OF RAVEN ROBERTS’ HEAD! RAVEN MANAGES TO GET SIENNA INTO A POWERBOMB POSITION! SIENNA THROWS A FEW FISTS TO THE TOP OF RAVEN’S HEAD, BUT IT SEEMS LIKE RAVEN MAY MAKE A COMEBACK IN THIS MATCH! RAVEN WITH A POWERBOMB ON SIENNA! NO! SIENNA IS ABLE TO COUNTER WITH A REVERSE FRANKENSTEINER! RAVEN GOES FLYING ACROSS THE RING! How was Sienna able to do that? Sienna gets herself back up as you can see the grin across her face! She brushes the dust off her shoulder as she is looking quite confident in how this match is going for her so far! She walks over to Raven and grabs her by the hair before slamming her against the mat! She then grabs Raven by the head before she connects with a series of harsh elbows to the top of Raven’s head! Over and over again, Sienna bashes her elbows to the top of Raven’s head! It seems like Sienna has stopped that as she goes for the pin!

Alicia Amby: Raven kicks out at one! I wasn’t expecting for Raven to kick out so quickly into the match! Sienna rolls her eyes as picks up Raven by the hair as she whips her to the ropes! Raven manages to hold onto the ropes! Sienna goes right after her! Raven gets her feet up to block Sienna, but Sienna moves Raven’s feet to the side as she grabs Raven by the hair again and slams her to the mat again! Sienna follows that with an elbow drop to Raven’s chest! Sienna looks back in an already down Raven as she goes for the top rope! It seems like Sienna has intentions of ending this match as soon as possible! It may be the smart thing to do with such a great opponent such as Raven Roberts! Sienna situates herself on the top rope! She looks back to see if Raven has moved a muscle, but Raven seems to be down! Sienna goes flying and connects with a moonsault on Raven Roberts!
SG1: NO! RAVEN ROBERTS ROLLS OUT OF THE WAY! THIS WAS SOMETHING RAVEN NEEDED TO DO IN ORDER TO GET BACK INTO THIS MATCH UP! Sienna is holding her stomach in pain as Raven grins as she tries to get herself back up with the assistance of the ropes! Raven is circling around Sienna, trying to strategize her next move! Raven Roberts begins to stomp on the stomach of an already down Sienna Jade! The official of the match tries to separate Raven from Sienna, giving time for Sienna to breathe. SIENNA’S HEAD GOES BOUNCING BACK HARD IN THE PROCESS! SIENNA SLIDES DOWN AGAINST THE CORNER AS RAVEN CONTINUES ON THE OFFENSE AS SHE GETS SIENNA AND BEGINS TO CHOKE SIENNA AGAINST THE ROPES!
