In June, we had our biggest show of the year in Pain for Pride. So much happened at this event. New stars were made, new Champions were crowned, and tons of unforgettable moments went down in the history books. There were tons of Elitists deserving of this, but in the end June’s Elitist of the Month is the man that not only won the EAW Championship in the final match of the entire show, but ended the career of Malcolm Jones, one of the biggest and fastest rising Elitists this company has seen in a very long time. The Elitist of the Month for June is Drake King! In a match that seemed to be building up all season, Drake faced Malcolm Jones in an Unsanctioned Match with not just Malcolm’s career on the line, but New Eden’s existence as well. Had Drake lost New Eden would’ve been forced to go their separate ways, but in the end Drake was able to avoid that fate by defeating Malcolm and winning his second World Championship with EAW. New Eden has proven to be a very powerful force these past few months, and it looks like they won’t be going anywhere for a very long time. Congratulations to the new EAW Champion, Drake King.
