Elitist of The Month – July Edition!

July was a big month for EAW as season 18 finally began. This month saw many Elitists look to rise up the ranks with the beginning of the new season, and with Showdown having its first marquee event of season 18, now was the best time to do so. With that in mind the Champions competing at this event had to be at their very best, and July’s Elitist of the Month was exactly that. The Elitist of the Month for this month was none other than the Answers World Champion, TLA! At Midsummer Massacre, TLA defended his Answers World Championship for the first time in a match against an old rival, the former EAW World Champion Charlie Marr. These two have had highly competitive matches in the past and this was no different, but as great as Charlie’s efforts may have been, they were not enough to crown him as Champion. TLA was able to retain his Championship against the Hall of Famer, leaving both Midsummer Massacre and the month of July with his Answers World Championship and a fantastic first title defense! This is TLA’s third reign as Champion, and with matches like this he may just be able to surpass both of his previous reigns. Congratulations to the Answers World Champion!
