Soon to be available in a store near you and in digital download, EAW 2K21 will be released on November 11, 2020. As the launch date gets closer and closer, more features will be revealed to the public. This year’s iteration of the EAW 2K series will feature “The Last Messiah” Drake King on the cover and it will be available on Xbox One, Xbox One Series X, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Steam and Epic Game Store.
The cover of EAW 2K21 was revealed during Bloodsport and a later stream by the EAW 2K development team revealed some of the features we will see in the upcoming game. The reveal stream has effectively replaced the traditional press event that was not possible to set up this year due to the COVID 19 emergency situation. Fight Grid was able to attend the Live Stream and is happy to provide you with all the information you need regarding the upcoming release.
Revamped and updated arenas for Season 14.
EAW 2K21 will feature updated versions of the Voltage, Dynasty and Showdown arenas. For the first time ever in the series, the Fight Grid arena will also be included although it won’t be available on release date. The Free Per View arenas will also be included from day one. Some of them will be locked behind virtual currency called “EAW Bucks” that can be earned via an in-game reward system or purchased directly from the store using real world money. The developers have assured that every arena will be unlockable via gameplay and that the in-game progression is not “grindy” at all.

Updated Championships belts
EAW 2K21 will feature the updated Championships designs that were introduced earlier this year. Every single Championship has been updated to its latest version, none of them was excluded from said feature. For the first time ever in the series, the “Create a Bhampionship” mode has been introduced, allowing player to recreate historic Bhampionships such as the Big Bak Bhampionship or Big Boogie Bhampionship, or create an entirely new Bhampionship for their own BBB division!
