(Friday Night Dynasty intro hits. Afterwards, a brief montage plays, recapping the events of Grand Rampage from Dynasty’s side of things: Effy McCoy retained the New Breed Championship, defeating Cosmo Goldworthy. Chris Elite defeated Jay Jerry Johnson and Holly Arrow, becoming the NEW EAW Interwire Champion and becoming a grand slam winner in the process. Minerva defeated the King of Elite, Drake Armstrong. Cy Henderson defeated Joso, capturing the EAW World Heavyweight Championship in the process. Finally, Drake King wins the Grand Rampage match for the second time in his career after last eliminating Adam Lucas.)
(After the montage, Friday Night Dynasty comes with a live shot of the Utilita Arena Newcastle in Newcastle, England! It is a packed house tonight, and the fans are as rowdy and raucous as ever, showing off to the cameras their excitement as they cheer, chant, and jump up and down. An electric display of red pyrotechnics goes off on the stage, and after a few more arena shots, the cameras go over to the commentary area.)
Stew-O: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to another edition of FRIDAY NIGHT DYNASTY! We are still going strong in our tour of England after Grand Rampage, and WOW, what a weekend that was for us!
Jake Mercer: It sure was, Stew! Baldhead Mcgee was able to get the job done as Chris Elite is the NEW Interwire Champion! Big Match Cy defeated Joso to capture the EAW World Heavyweight Championship! And you can hate him all you want, but Drake King is now a two-time 🥰 two-time 🥰 Grand Rampage winner, winning it in spectacular fashion!
Flannery McCoy: I’m sorry, you called Chris Elite what now? Come on, man. The jokes have never been and will never be funny.
Jake Mercer: What? I’m giving him his props! As well as the others! Look–it was a great night for Dynasty talent all around, exceptforthatkidCosmolosingandmygloriousKinglosing, but it was incredible!
Flannery McCoy: :francis: !!! You know what? I’m not going to say anything to you, but I will concede that Grand Rampage was amazing. Some are saying it may have been one of the best Grand Rampages of all time! The match itself definitely was insane, and it was a historic night all around.
Stew-O: It certainly was, but with all the highs come a few lows, and one of those lows, as Jake briefly mentioned, was Drake Armstrong losing to Minerva. We’ve got word that the King of Elite wanted to come out to the ring to address his loss tonight, and so, we’ll turn over to the ring where we kick things off with the aforementioned dejected royal.
Jake Mercer: 😔
Flannery McCoy: Well, that’s what happens when you want to take a Hall of Famer lightly. 🤷
(The Friday Night Dynasty feed switches from the commentator’s desk to a wide-view of the arena before, suddenly, ‘Pride and Arrogance’ by Takeru Kanazaki began blaring through the speakers to roaring boos. The arena became bathed in the classic golden lights of the entrance of the King of Elite; however, it took a few moments for Drake Armstrong himself to trudge out onto the stage from behind the curtains, looking equal parts despondent and infuriated after the events of Grand Rampage. Without any particular theatrics, he made his way down the ramp, ignoring the jeers of the audience in attendance.)
Stephie Love: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, PLEASE WELCOME AT THIS TIME… HE IS THE KING OF ELITE, DRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAKE! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAARMSTROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG!
Stew-O: Well, from the look on the face of the King of Elite, he certainly isn’t in the best of moods heading into the first Dynasty on the road to Pain for Pride! Given how his match at Grand Rampage against the legendary Minerva turned out for him, I can’t exactly blame him for being upset about it.
Flannery McCoy: But you definitely can’t blame any of us for being HAPPY at how it turned out! Drake Armstrong intentionally ruined Minerva’s path to entering the Grand Rampage match and totally derailed her one chance at pulling this season back towards a world championship match at the main event of Pain for Pride; who knows if Drake King would’ve won if Minerva was able to join the match?
Jake Mercer: It’s too late to play the ‘if’ game, because we’re on the road to Pain for Pride now and, as it stands, both Drakes have their guaranteed title shots for a world championship; I have full faith in our King of Elite to pull it together and turn things around as we get closer and closer to Pain for Pride!
(Drake Armstrong made his way into the ring before irritably demanding a microphone from the ringside staff; upon receiving it, he paused a moment before beginning to speak.)
Drake Armstrong: This is NOT how I should be beginning my road to Pain for Pride; what happened at Grand Rampage was a truly unfortunate travesty. Namely, I SHOULD have walked away from that match as the victor; as a matter of fact, I HAD the match completely won when I hit Minerva with the Halberd from Hell! She did not raise her shoulder of her own accord; had I not wrenched her up by her hair, this would have been a completely different tale.
Drake Armstrong: I did what I did at that moment for the pursuit of vengeance; the vengeance that I was OWED from the beginning of the season when her husband stole a victory away from me that I should have had when that Halberd from Hell was set to land in the first place. I showed at Grand Rampage that she would NOT have kicked out back then, just as she did NOT kick out when it actually landed against her last week. The fact of the matter is that after the miserable failure Minerva faced at Operation: Doomsday, she ought to be GRATEFUL to me for not sending her onto the Road to Pain for Pride with yet another loss that she would have gotten!
Drake Armstrong: That result changes nothing; the fact remains that I am still the King of Elite, and the moment that I see fit, I will change the professional wrestling landscape in the blink of an eye when I take the world championship of EAW for myself and mold this very industry in MY image. MINE! I showed that I WAS better last week, and the only reason that the result does not reflect it is because I was more focused on vengeance than victory; good for her, she managed to weasel out at the last moment and escape me with a pity win, and she can hold on to that win for all the time she wants because it’s the only solace she has when she’s heading into the biggest show of the year bereft of any hope of world championship glory! I-
(It becomes impossible to hear Drake Armstrong at this point, because the roaring boos from the crowd become so incomprehensibly loud that it overpowers even the volume of the microphone.)
Drake Armstrong (off-mic): CAN SOMEONE TELL THE FILTH IN THE PRODUCTION AREA TO INCREASE THE VOLUME ON THIS THING?! HOW ARE THEY SO INCOMPETENT AS TO ALLOW THE CROWD TO HIJACK MY TIME? TURN IT UP!
(The production team follows the King of Elite’s orders, turning up the volume on Drake’s microphone. Drake begins to speak yet again.)
Drake Armstrong: As I was saying, I-
(But the crowd just started booing even louder than before, rendering the production team’s microphone volume adjustment pointless; Drake Armstrong’s scowl deepened and, for a moment, it seemed as though he was about to explode with vitriolic shouting at the audience. However, upon reaching the brink, Drake paused and gathered himself, regaining his composure before he truly lost it.)
Drake Armstrong: Ahaha! Why should I allow your heckling to affect my mood in the slightest? It would be unbecoming for a true King to allow that unfortunate defeat to burden me with any further mental turmoil; verily, it may not have been the ideal scenario for me to walk out of Grand Rampage with a victory, but it will recalibrate my mind. My constant success since this new year started happened because of the control I possess over my own mind, preventing myself from being consumed by euphoria over getting close to victory; what Grand Rampage showed is that I must prevent the pursuit of vengeance from doing the same thing to me.
Drake Armstrong: Nothing should come between me and victory; especially as the time grows closer for me to capture the world championship once and for all, I must remain focused on what truly matters: the resplendent gold that is begging to have the name of the King of Elite upon it. After all, there was another result at Grand Rampage, and that was Joso relinquishing the World Heavyweight Championship to my old rival and my old Brand Warfare partner, Cy Henderson…
(The crowd began to boo loudly again at being reminded of that result.)
Drake Armstrong: And here I thought Joso would have been ‘Him’ enough to keep the gold warm before I decided to cash in the opportunity that I earned! How unfortunate that he was not even capable of surviving until Pain for Pride; alas, while we may not get to finally settle ‘The Future’ versus ‘The New Era’, Cyclone’s victory does give an even more apropos set up for me. If I am to fully establish myself as the Future, what better opponent to slay than Cy Henderson himself?
Drake Armstrong: Despite the camaraderie we may have developed after having to manage the fools in our Brand Warfare team, there was always the mutual understanding that both of our paths would inevitably clash once more due to our shared desire for the world championship; by winning the gold, he etched that inevitable showdown into stone. Felicitations to him for finally following through on the promise he made to himself about crafting a new legacy for himself, but unfortunately for him, my desire to carve the Future of this industry in my own image outweighs his attempts to bury his past with more glory.
Drake Armstrong: Drake King and Cy Henderson, two long-tenured wrestlers in the industry, set to clash for the world championship destined for me; how dreary it is that ‘that’ side of the age gap retains such a stalwart presence in my brand. Despite my defeats in the past season against the likes of the Silvestris, I remain undeterred in my quest; after all, need I remind you all that I effectively sent Karl Impact back to his umpteenth hiatus? Who knows if he’ll ever return at all this time? Hell, before Minerva threw her little temper tantrum, I was picking Cyclone’s old partner the ‘Dragonborn’ apart; there is nobody that is going to truly stand in my way of world championship glory, no matter how much experience they may have in this business. Furthermore-
Brian Daniels: You called?
(The crowd suddenly started cheering loudly as Brian Daniels appeared on the stage, walking down the ramp towards Drake with a microphone in his hand.)
Brian Daniels: If there’s one thing my return to Elite Answers Wrestling has shown me, it is that the future of the company hangs in the balance based on the careers of its newest generation… and it is so tragic that one of the most front-facing representatives of that new generation is an entitled brat like YOU, ‘King’.
(The crowd cheers loudly for this takedown of Drake Armstrong.)
Brian Daniels: I’ve spent my past month testing another member of the new generation in the Fire Heart, Hans Grayson, and despite coming out on top at Grand Rampage over him, I can at least say that I have FAITH that he has a bright future and can lead this brand to prosperity; if the new generation had YOU as its leader, Drake, the world would never see the sun again for how bleak it would end up.
Brian Daniels: A man that prioritizes the integrity of the sport above all else, THAT is what this company needs, not some tantrum-throwing ‘King’ like you that disrupts lives and careers on a whim! Jay Jerry Johnson has shown the traits of a leader since his return as well; I’ve kept my eye on the technical mastermind that blitzed his way to the Interwire Championship so quickly after his return to the industry, and both he AND Hans Grayson have given me some hope that this company is on the right path. You, though? You need the type of physical discipline that you should’ve had in your upbringing to prevent you from turning into the beacon of entitlement that you are today.
Drake Armstrong: Oh, so getting taken apart and spared a loss wasn’t enough for you, Brian Daniels? Do you really want to test your King of Elite and let me follow through on the beatdown I was handing you when we faced off against each other? By all means, walk into that trap if you so please, I would be more than happy to give you a taste of what the Future of this industry REALLY looks like! Your examples, by the way, are utterly laughable; the Fire Heart, even after stealing my championship, still ended up crashing and burning, ending up back in my shadow where he belongs and getting jeered by the likes of the current World Heavyweight Championship for always falling behind his peers. And Triple J? You mean the man that only won my title because it was held by its weakest and most embarrassing holder? The man that ended up losing it to the most mediocre ‘legend’ we have on this roster? THAT is your ‘future’, Brian? Don’t make me laugh!
Jay Jerry Johnson: Do you really have much to be laughing about, though?
Drake Armstrong: Oh, you must be joking me!
(The crowd started cheering even louder as both Brian and a very exasperated Drake turned towards the stage to see the former Interwire Champion, Jay Jerry Johnson, walking down the ramp towards the ring.)
Jay Jerry Johnson: There is no joke to be had with me, Drake. If you’ve been paying attention as much as you say you do, then you would know that I give the truth of the matter, no matter how cold and bitter it may be. So, allow me to run down that truth to you: the truth is that, despite you deriding it, I made history by becoming a two-time Interwire Champion. What history have you made, by the way? Perhaps the only thing you can stake a claim to is being the most selfish, undeserving, entitled, and ungrateful King of Elite winner that Elite Answers Wrestling has ever SEEN. You represent the antithesis to what this company needs, and the only thing you truly deserve is to crash and burn before you are inevitably forgotten.
Drake Armstrong: You know what, I have had just about enough of these ceaseless interruptions. If you don’t mind, I–
Stew-O: OH, BUT DRAKE ARMSTRONG GOES FOR A DOUBLE LARIAT AT BOTH BRIAN AND JAY, BUT THEY MANAGE TO DUCK UNDERNEATH AND BEGIN STRIKING THE KING OF ELITE IN UNISON!
Flannery McCoy: GET HIM!
Jake Mercer: OH, BUT DRAKE ARMSTRONG WISELY ROLLS OUT OF THE RING BEFORE THIS TWO-ON-ONE SITUATION GETS ANY FURTHER OUT OF CONTROL!
Drake Armstrong (off-mic): YOU THINK THIS ENDS HERE?! YOUR DISRESPECT WILL BE REPAID WITH IMMENSE SUFFERING! IF I MUST SLAUGHTER TWO BIRDS WITH A SINGLE STONE, THEN I WILL DO SO!
(The video feed lingers as Drake Armstrong continues retreating up the ramp, hurling threats at Jay Jerry Johnson and Brian Daniels as they remain in the ring, before the feed fades to black.)
(A commercial plays for RAIDOU Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army, set to be released June 19, 2025. Pre-order now to play an ATLUS cult favorite on modern systems!)
Stephie Love: Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for ONE FALL!
Crowd: ONE FALL!
(‘Razorface’ by Celldweller hits the PA speakers and David Gideon Smith emerges from the back, black and white lights flashing throughout the building. David slowly makes his way down the stage, outstretching his hands to draw his Black Blade signal. He then makes his way down, focused on winning in his debut tonight.)
Stephie Love: Introducing first, residing in Boston, Massachusetts, weighing in at 245 pounds, he is “DGS” DAVID! GIDEON! SMITH!
Stew-O: Big opportunity for DGS tonight, as he makes his Dynasty debut. David had a lot to say this week—and he could certainly make a strong impression for himself if he’s able to defeat Clayton Golde, who has had his fair share of championship matches on Friday nights.
Flannery McCoy: I like his attitude, and he’s definitely got a knack for competition, but it’s not going to be as easy as he hopes it would be showing up here on Dynasty. Clayton has got an iffy track record, but he absolutely can compete with the best of them!
(Betty (Get Money)!’ by Yung Gravy begins playing and it immediately prompts nothing but boos from the crowd, as Clayton Golde charges out with his paid valet and gold smoke filling the stage. Golde berates the booing fans, and makes his way down to the ring.)
Stephie Love: His opponent, from An Undisclosed Location in Romania, weighing in at 210 pounds… He is “THE GOSPEL” CLAYTTTOOONNN! GOOOLLLDDDEEEEEE!!
Jake Mercer: Speak of the devil! Clayton Golde is here and I know that he would love to get his name back on track with Pain For Pride so close. The jury is still out on if he can finally become champion like he wants, but what he should be focusing on is building a winning resume.
Flannery McCoy: Clayton is good at weaseling his way into things, but with a guy hungry for immediate success like DGS, he’s got no choice but to work for the win tonight! We’ll see what Clayton is capable of as the hunted, and with his back planted firmly against the wall.
(DING DING DING!)
Jake Mercer: Clayton already extremely wary of Smith as we’re getting into this one. David approaches him, and Clayton slithers out of the ring like a snake. David shakes his head, inviting Clayton back into the ring. Clayton shuffles around with a grin on his face. But David exits the ring and chases after Clayton! Golde is running for his life, and he quickly slides back in and stomps David out! David tries to rise to his feet, but Golde is peppering him with massive forearms! He falls against the ropes and Clayton takes him by the wrist for an irish whip, but David holds onto the ropes!
Stew-O: David shoves Clayton back! David meets him with a shoulder block! He calls Clayton up and kicks him hard in the ribs, Clayton falls to a kneel, wheezing out in pain. Clayton tries to rise, but David cracks him with a knife edge chop! Clayton falls into the ropes, gasping out. David backs up, trying to send him over the top rope but Clayton elbows him away! David charges in again, but Clayton cracks him with a superkick! Already going for a quick cover!
ONE—
Flannery McCoy: Immediately, David kicks out! Clayton shakes his head. David tries to sit up, but Clayton grabs him into a rear chinlock! Clayton wrenches it in tight, trying to smother David! He winces out, reaching for the ropes. Clayton is persistent though, trying to wrestle David down to the ground. He refuses to go down, instead slowly building himself up to his feet. He wraps his arms around Clayton’s waist and lifts him up… Clayton flails his legs high in the air!
Jake Mercer: No use, as David brings Clayton down with a back suplex! Clayton holds his back in agony, wheezing. David drags him back up and drills him with an european uppercut! Another one from David and Clayton falls into the ropes. David starts running through Clayton with uppercuts and pulls him to the center of the ring. He grabs him by the head and tries to lift him up, but Clayton spins free and rakes the eyes! David staggers, holding at his eyes in agony! Clayton hits off the ropes again, but David sends him inside out with a boot to the jaw! Clayton holds his mouth, looking around in confusion.
Stew-O: David wraps his hands around Clayton’s throat, yanking him back up to the canvas. He scoops him high in the air, but Clayton slips free! He shoves David to the ropes, but Davis comes off with a flying shoulder tackle this time! Clayton gets turned inside out as a result! He staggers up after and David lifts him into a fireman’s carry. He marches to the center of the ring, bringing Clayton down with a rolling fireman’s carry slam! Down goes Golde, and DGS is looking very proud of his handiwork right now! He looks around with a smirk, meanwhile Clayton is wheezing on the ground.
Flannery McCoy: He rises back up to his feet and pulls Clayton up. He jams his head into his thighs and wraps his arms around the waist, perhaps trying for a powerbomb, but Golde with a back body drop from out of nowhere! David holds his back and staggers up, but Clayton follows him to his feet and heaves him up with all of his power for a hip toss! Clayton falls to his knees, groaning. David is clutching at his back, and Clayton drags him up, placing him against the middle rope. Clayton hits the ropes behind him!
Stew-O: GUILLOTINE LEGDROP! DGS’s throat bounces off the middle rope! He falls down, coughing out in agony! Clayton makes his way back inside of the ring, hooking the legs!
OOOONNNNEEEEEE!!
TWWWOOOOOOOOOO-
Flannery McCoy: Another kick out from David! Clayton shakes his head. He rubs his hands, asuming victory from here. David slowly rises and Clayton leaps to the middle rope! ‘THE BRAND DEAL!’ No! David catches him and hooks the waist! GERMAN SUPLEX! And Clayton gets tossed onto the back of his head! He rolls around, writhing around the ring in agony. David rise back to his feet, and he pulls him up by the waistband, grabbing the waist again. David hooks him up and throws him with another german suplex!
Jake Mercer: And Clayton gets sent flying again! He rolls onto his stomach, kicking his legs on the canvas. Golde rolls to the floor and David rolls out with him. He ducks down, slowly pulling Clayton up … but Golde combs back to life and drives David into the steel steps! David bounces out and Golde grabs him by the head, lifting him up for a snap suplex right on the floor! David holds his back, crying out in pain! Clayton rises to his feet and rolls in, taking a lap around the ring.
Stew-O: David is laid out on the floor, holding his back. Meanwhile, the referee begins the coin! Imagine if Golde wins this match by ountout!
OOOOOOONNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!
TTTTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
TTTTTTTTTTHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!
FFFFFFFFFOOOOOOOOOOOUUUUURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!
FFFFFFFFFIIIIIIIIIIIIIIVVVVVVVVVVVEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!
Flannery McCoy: BUT DAVID FINDS A WAY BACK UP AND SLIDES IN! He staggers up, and Golde is waiting for him to get to his feet! ‘DEMONITZED!’ THE STANDING DISCUS ELBOW! AND HE GETS ABSOLUTELY PLANTED! Golde falls on top of him, hooking the leg for the cover!
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!
TTTTTTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR—
Stew-O: David kicks out! That was an extremely close call, though! Golde sits up, looking at the referee. He shakes his head, furious! Clayton thought it was over there, but clearly not! DGS holds his jaw, staring up at the ceiling in confusion. Clayton slowly rises and grabs a handful of his hair, he looks around, dragging him around. He pulls him up and tucks his arm under his arm pit!
Jake Mercer: ‘THE 304!’ HIP TOSS INTO THE TURNBUCKLE—NO! David flips the position and throws him head first into the middle turnbuckle! He bounces off and David hits off the ropes, running into a step-up enzuigiri! That stuns Clayton, and allows David to rise back up and hoist him up in the air for a lifting reverse STO! David rises to his feet, not done just yet. Clayton holds his jaw, struggling to get back up to his feet.
Flannery McCoy: He wraps Clayton’s arm around the back of his head, hoisting him up high in the air, looking around! Clayton tries to get free, but it’s no use! ‘ORISON DARK!’ THE HIGH ANGLE OLYMPIC SLAM PLANTS HIM INTO THE CANVAS! David crawls over and makes the cover!
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!
TTTTTTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR—
Stew-O: BUT GOLDE KICKS OUT! David sits up, slapping the canvas! He was close to getting the win right there, but it wasn’t enough! He slowly rises, pulling on his elbow pad. Golde is still lost and confused. Now is a better time than ever to take advantage! David paces around, winding his arm up and down. Clayton slowly rises, and David calls him up! Golde rises—
Jake Mercer: AND DAVID HITS OFF BOTH ROPES! ‘THE BLACK BLADE!’ NO! GOLDE DUCKS UNDER AND SHOVES HIM SHOULDER FIRST INTO THE RING POST! David bounces off and Golde grabs him by the waist, bringing him down for an O’Connor Roll, but David rolls with it! He wraps his arms around his waist and slowly deadlifts him up! He tosses him for a german suplex—no! Golde lands onto his feet!
Flannery McCoy: He turns around, and Clayton cracks him with a forearm to the jaw! David fires him back with another forearm! Another one from Clayton! And David forearms him hard into the ropes! He approaches him, but Clayton boots him in the knee! David falls to a kneel and Clayton grabs him by the hair, jamming his head into his thighs. He tries to lift him up for a powerbomb, but a very easy back body drop from David!
Stew-O: David staggers back, calling Clayton up to his feet. Clayton slowly rises and here comes David! ONE AGAIN LOOKING FOR ‘THE BLACK BLADE!” NO! EYE POKE FROM GOLDE! David staggers, holding at his eye! Golde ducks under him and leaps to the middle rope! ‘THE BRAND DEAL!’ SPRINGBOARD STUNNER BRINGS HIM DOWN!
Jake Mercer: Golde isn’t done there, though! He pulls David up from the canvas and slowly takes him by the head, turning him around. ‘C’EST LA VIE!’ THE LEAPING NECKBREAKER TAKES DAVID OWN! HIS NECK SNAPPED OVER HIS SHOULDER! AND GOLDE MAKES THE COVER! THAT’S GOTTA BE IT!
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!
TTTTTTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
(DING DING DING!)
Stephie Love: Here is your winner of this match, CLAYYTTOONNN! GOOOLLLDDDEEEEE!!
(Clayton rolls off of David, raising his arms up and acting like he just won a championship. The fans are entirely unimpressed by his victory—as always. He parades around the ring, running past the referee, who can’t even grab his arm to raise it up. Clayton climbs the middle rope, slapping his chest.)
Stew-O: And look at Clayton celebrating his victory over the debuting David Gideon Smith, as if he actually got that done all on his own! I mean, a win’s a win in his playbook, but he needed some help to get there!
Jake Mercer: Who cares?!?! Clayton showed David there’s levels to this! He may have experience elsewhere, but it’s an entirely new ballgame in Elite Answers Wrestling, a new level of competition here on Dynasty, and Clayton is the one welcoming him here!
Flannery McCoy: I wouldn’t write David out like that. It was a solid showing, and Clayton completely took that away rom him.
(Transitioning away from ringside, we go to the backstage area.. quickly we see Daniella Atlas as she was doing consistent warm ups, and overall just simple preparation.)
Daniella Atlas: Must do better..
(Daniella said to herself. The truth was: she’s been doing good, but that loss at the Grand Rampage kind of set a bad precedent in her mouth..)
Daniella Atlas: Need to do better..
(All of a sudden, someone would specifically walk up to Daniella, and yeah, they didn’t look all too thrilled. The look on their face told all.)
Saori Aizen: Daniella! What the hell is your problem?
(Saori Aizen stood in front of her, as you could see the anger in her eyes. The person who is supposed to have her back — threw her right out of the ring, and she wasn’t reflecting positively on it.)
Saori Aizen: First and foremost, why the hell are you unable to stick to one specific thing? You and I, in case you have lost the memo, are supposed to be a TEAM. We are supposed to be working together, for a chance to conquer all. Grand Rampage was a perfect example of that, and you threw it all away. A pathetic and damming way to get removed from this match up… I just don’t get it..
Daniella Atlas: Cherie, don’t think I need to say this other than how it went and has gone. I never wanted to have any part of an alliance with you, I openly despise the pure fact that we would be forced to compete in a tag team. I hated it so ruthlessly, this being what I was forced into? I am sorry Saori, but need I add anymore emphasis on my previous statement, I wanted to work, alone. I never wanted you to butt into my business with fire and ice, but you lacked your own personal self control, and had to feature in it. You thought that you could get a shot in the dark, that you would be able to ride my coattails into victory, but guess what happened? None of that, dear. So please and genuinely, answer this question for me. Why should I continue to hold out with any restoration of faith? I don’t want to have any involvement with you. Why should I hold out, delay my career, and force work with you?
(Daniella begged the question as she looked at Saori with a raised eyebrow, but genuinely, she only got angrier as she said that.)
Saori Aizen: With all due respect Daniella, how do you manage to be the biggest idiot in the room. I don’t think you get it Daniella, you proceeded to absolutely topple and toss away everything that could have been going good for you. I am sorry, again. But you’re stupid, you threw it all into the gutter — and it’s just, come on! How ridiculous can one person be? One human being, that allows her very vessel to be tarnished because of her own fragile ignorance. Your ego will be the peak of your demise, as you continue to neglect a better future for yourself. I knew that your intelligence was a little on the down low, but I didn’t realize how poor it truly was…. you are the very being of what I despise, the reason I despise you, is because of your brash ignorance! Just when I thought there was at least some good in you, you throw it all in the trash and burn it! Good going you, typical as you always are.
(Did Saori just go there and proceed to call Daniella straight up an idiot? Daniella was blistering with anger, but she just… stood there for a second and thought.)
Daniella Atlas: Sorry cherie, but in case you have failed to notice the dynamic between myself and you — I am not afraid to put you in the ground when you get too hot and heavy with the shoes you wear. I am not a punk, and your blatant disrespect of me will not go unpunished. Watch what you say, you already have an enemy of me. Do you want to make this even more worse?
(Daniella got up close and personal in the face of Saori Aizen, but Saori didn’t show fear. The look of Daniella read anger and hostility, but Saori looked comfortable and in her own element..)
Daniella Atlas: As much as we could spread words here, you and I could just get to the point. If you are that angry about Grand Rampage, if you feel that robbed by the events that occurred, then alright… go ahead then, do something about it.
(Tension was at an all time high, as Saori and Daniella were closing the gap between personal space, and aggression was truly spilling out on the plate…)
Saori Aizen: Gladly.
(SUDDENLY A BRAWL WOULD BREAK OUT BETWEEN THE TWO OF THEM! Saori got the first punch in on Daniella, but Daniella quickly responded with brute force by ramming Saori back first against the wall! Saori was a bit stunned by that, as she would suddenly managed to turn it around, and throw Daniella off her briefly. Finding something to defend herself against Daniella, she would chuck a chair in her direction! This would halt the momentum of her all at once!)
(Daniella took a second however, as she turned her focus and daze from being hit with a chair… BEFORE SHE WOULD TOSS A TRASH CAN RIGHT AT SAORI! Saori fell to the ground..)
Security Guard: Hey! Hey! Hey!
(THE BRAWL WAS STILL ENSUING BETWEEN SAORI AND DANIELLA, AS THEY WERE REFUSING TO BE PULLED APART, BUT SECURITY HAD SEEN ENOUGH AND YANKED THEM AWAY!)
Daniella Atlas: I promise, I never wanted to be your tag team partner in the first place!
Saori Aizen: You won’t be able to get the best of me, Daniella. I promise!
(Words were shed from the two of them, but that was the closing shot there. Daniella and Saori being held apart from security, as Dynasty went elsewhere..)
Stew-O: Well, the team of Daniella Atlas and Saori Aizen is officially DONE! What an explosive way to end things, though!
Jake Mercer: Ah man, I liked them together, too! I know they were enemies and all of that, but it seemed like maybe things would’ve been on the mend. A shame. ☹️
Flannery McCoy: On the mend? There has been some underlying tension between the two after Operation: Doomsday, not to mention that Saori and Daniella were rivals earlier in the season. If anything, I’m surprised they even held out for a few more weeks after the loss to Fire & Ice. However, combustible elements were always at play, and sooner rather than later, things were going to hit the fan between those two women.
Stew-O: Certainly had the makings of a nasty rivalry, but now, we go back to the ring where our next match for the night is taking place!
(The shot then goes over to the ring, where Stephie Love can be seen.)
Stephie Love: Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for ONE FALL!
Crowd: ONE FALL!
(‘Castle’ by Halsey hits the speakers and Achaia Ariti emerges from the back, looking around. She beats her chest, marching down the ring. Ariti climbs up the steps and enters the ring, climbing up the middle rope and posing.)
Stephie Love: Introducing first, from Athens, Greece, weighing in at 195 pounds, she is “THE WARRIOR PRINCESS” ACHAIA ARITI!
Stew-O: This could be a big moment for Achia Ariti, looking to make an impact here on Dynasty. The Warrior Princess certainly has a lot of intangibles to potentially be something, but she’s going to have her work cut out for her tonight.
(‘Daisy’ by Ashnikko begins playing, Mia Santoro makes her way to the ring from the crowd, and despite the boos, she tries to tag fans, oblivious to their hate. Santoro smirks, climbing over the barricade and entering the ring to pose.)
Stephie Love: Introducing first, from Key West, Florida, weighing in at 115 pounds, she is “LA DESPERADA” MIA! SANTORO!
Jake Mercer: Maybe not as remarkable of a performance at Grand Rampage that Mia Santoro would’ve liked, but if she’s able to bounce back tonight, it may not matter! Knocking down a rookie like Achaia Ariti definitely can play into Santoro’s favor as it pertains to elevating herself.
(DING DING DING!)
Stew-O: We’re off to a start here and both women circle around the ring, trying to get a feel for one another. Tight lock up between Mia Santoro and Achaia Ariti. Santoro trying to push Ariti off, but the bigger woman sends her flying across the ring! She flexed her muscles, yelling into Mia’s face! Mia shakes her head, rising. Achaia approaches her again and Mia swings under, hooking the waist. Achaia grabs the hands, ragdolling her to the side! Santoro looks up in shock, shaking her head. She rises to her feet and swings behind, grabbing the waist.
Jake Mercer: Ariti elbows Santoro back! She hits off the ropes, but Santoro dropkicks her legs out! Mia rises and hits off the ropes, sliding dropkick to the side of the head! Achaia holds her jaw, slowly rising. Mia nails her with a forearm, and then a knife edge chop! She takes the wrist for an irish whip, but Ariti reverses! Ariti rushes forward, but Santoro catches her with a drop toe hold into the middle rope! Santoro really taking control of this match. She’s up to her feet already and hits off the opposite side, double knees to the back!
Flannery McCoy: That prompts Ariti to bounce off the ropes and Santoro steps out to the apron. She approaches the turnbuckles and begins to climb up—but Achaia is already rising! Santoro decides to go for broke, but Ariti catches her! Fallaway slam from the bigger woman! Down goes Santoro! Ariti rises to her feet, dusting her hands off… but I wouldn’t get confident so soon.
Stew-O: Santoro rolls to the apron and Ariti grabs the hair, but Santoro yanks her down with a hot shot! Ariti was on her back, and Santoro flies over the top rope with a tope atomico! Senton driving down right on the ribs of Ariti! She holds her body, coughing out in pain. Santoro isn’t done yet, she drags Ariti up and scoops her. Exploder suplex, sending her across the ring! Santoro rolls over, making the cover!
OOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
TTTTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!
Jake Mercer: Kick out from Ariti! She was just barely able to find her way back into this match, but it may not matter. Santoro is looking great right now. Mia rises and begins to pull her up, but Ariti punches the body! Another punch from Achaia! And she elbows Santoro into the ropes! She scoops her up into military press position! But Santoro lands behind her, leaping onto her back and applying a sleeper hold! Ariti yelps out in agony!
Stew-O: She runs backwards, bouncing Santoro into the turnbuckles! She lets go and Ariti is off the ropes, charging into a clothesline—no! Santoro gets her boots up! She climbs to the middle ropes, flying into a crossbody-NO! Ariti catches her and tosses her with a fallaway slam across the ring! For the second time, Santoro falls victim to that move. Ariti rises to her feet and drags Santoro up. She takes her by the head and lifts her up vertically, dangling her upside down in the air!
Flannery McCoy: SANTORO KICKS HER LEGS AND BRINGS HERSELF DOWN! INSIDE CRADLE, PRESSING ACHAIA’S SHOULDERS TO THE CANVAS! REFEREE SLIDES TO THE COUNT!
OOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
TTTTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!
Stew-O: She barely kicks out! Both women rise and Ariti with a nasty elbow to the throat! Santoro falls to the ropes, but she follows up with a roundhouse kick! Ariti falls to a knee and Santoro hits off, but Ariti scoops her up into military press position! Santoro throws a punch to the chest! She throws another! And she slips out, with a chop block! Rookie mistake from Ariti, who needs to bring some different moves out if she wants to win this one!
Jake Mercer: Santoro sees Ariti on her knees, and SWINGS ANOTHER ROUNDHOUSE—Ariti catches her leg over her shoulder! She scoops her up, for a powerbomb into the canvas! Not enough, Santoro brings her down with a hurricanrana! Achaia bounces up to her feet, falling into the turnbuckles. Mia runs up with a corner shining wizard! She holds onto Achaia and irish whips her across the ring!
Flannery McCoy: Another one! Ariti is dazed, and Santoro wraps her arms around her legs, trying to lift her up … but Ariti drops down, holding onto Santoro’s waist! She deadlifts her off of the canvas! DOMINATOR–NO! SANTORO LANDS ONTO HER FEET! DROPKICK TO THE KNEE OF ARITI! She hits off the ropes, and brings her down with a meteora!
Jake Mercer: Beautiful! Santoro rolls through, calling her up! Ariti is dazed and confused. Santoro hooks her arm and then the leg! Ariti desperately tries to get free but it’s no use! THE ‘BLACKEST HOUR!’ SWINGING FISHERMAN’S NECKBREAKER TAKES HER OUT! ACHAIA IS DOWN! AND SANTORO ROLLS HER OVER FOR THE COVER!
OOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
TTTTTTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE—
Stew-O: BARELY! Achaia kicks out, but it may not matter! Santoro is already up to her feet! She walks to the ropes, stepping out to the apron! Santoro begins to climb up top, and Ariti still has zero idea where she’s at right now…
Flannery McCoy: ‘CHASE THE FEELING!’ DIVING LEGDROP! DRIVING THAT LEG RIGHT INTO THE THROAT OF ARITI, AND SANTORO HOOKS THE LEGS!
OOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
TTTTTTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
(DING DING DING!)
Stephie Love: Here is your winner of this match, MIA SANTORO!
(Mia rises off of Ariti, relieved ot have picked up the win in such dominant fashion. The referee takes her arm and raises it up high. Santoro backs away, making he way out of the ring. She drops down, nodding her head. She brushes her hair out the way, headed backstage.)
Jake Mercer: Grand Rampage didn’t go how Mia Santoro wanted it to, but tonight sure did! Achaia Ariti tried her best, but that wasn’t close to the level Mia was operating on.
Flannery McCoy: Absolutely not! Strong victory for Santoro, and the question just is: what’s next for her after this match?
Stew-O: We know that she wants bigger things here in EAW, but she’s gotta earn it. We’ll see how that pans out for her in the future.
(A commercial plays for Little Caesars, featuring Chris Elite.)
(Friday Night Dynasty returns to a pan-around shot of Utilita Arena, as the crowd bustles in anticipation for what is to come. It’s not very long before ‘Invincible’ by Pop Smoke begins to play through the speakers of the arena. The crowd gives a loud reaction as the shot goes over to the stage to reveal Chris Elite as he’s seen making his way out from the backstage area. He has the Interwire Championship over his shoulder as he brings it into his hand and raises it into the air, pyro seen erupting out from behind him. After some time, he then begins to make his way down the ramp and toward the ring.)
Stephie Love: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome… the NEW!!!!!!! EAW INTERWIRE CHAMPION!!!!!!!!!!!! CHRIS ELITE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Stew-O: Well, as you know, Grand Rampage was a big night for Chris Elite. He walked into a match against Jay Jerry Johnson and Holly Arrow with the Interwire Championship on the line. And despite what everyone thought of him, despite his past track record, he did what some thought was impossible and captured his first singles Championship since 2018. I think he’s pretty undeniable at this point, right?
Flannery McCoy: Chris has been insistent on the belief that he is still one of the best that this company has to offer. A Hall of Fame talent and one of the hardest workers in the room, this Interwire Championship helps prove that. Now, as we’re so close to Pain For Pride, I’m sure he’s looking to rack up a couple of defenses and, of course, walk into the next season as a Champion, which is not out of reach.
Jake Mercer: Now, I’ll admit… I doubted Chris Elite. I took my stocks out a long time ago, and now I’m regretting it. But hey, now that he’s Interwire Champion, I think that he’s going to have a good reign. Let’s just see who might answer the call if he wants a defense.
(Chris makes his way up the steps and onto the apron before entering through the ropes. He heads over and takes a microphone from the ringside area while ‘Invincible’ then begins to come to a close. He heads over toward the center of the ring, taking a moment before then beginning to speak.)
Chris Elite: :mjlol2: Y’all wanna talk shit now?
(The crowd gives a loud reaction, one of negativity, but one of a positive nature as well, considering that Chris Elite is once again a Champion in EAW. He shakes his head as he continues to speak.)
Chris Elite: Yeah, that’s what I thought. It’s been a long ass time since I’ve been able to say that I’m a Champion in EAW, and I’ve been hearing what everyone has had to say. I’ve heard all the trash talk, all the disrespect, saying that I wasn’t shit, saying that I wasn’t going to win another Championship in this company, that I wasn’t deserving of my Hall of Fame status. But here I am, and all respect to Jay Jerry Johnson and Holly Arrow, they gave me hell, but it just wasn’t enough to stop my ambition, and now I’m the Interwire Champion. I’m here now, and I’m undeniable, and just because I got to this point, that doesn’t mean that I’m just going to slow down. That doesn’t mean that I’m going to stop, I’m going to make sure that I put my foot on the gas and keep it going, and that’s not something that y’all wanna be on the receiving end of. A motivated Chris Elite at the very top of his game, KNOWING that he can back up every single thing that he says, that’s a scary thing; none of you are ready.
(Chris smirks as he adjusts his title over his shoulder, he begins to pace around as he raises his microphone again, going on with what he needs to say.)
Chris Elite: It took me years of hard work to get to this point. It took blood, sweat, and tears for me to reach the upper echelon that all of YOU created. For the longest time now, people have continuously moved the goalpost, and I could have been dejected, I could have just stopped and walked away like people told me to, and I could have just quit, but I didn’t, right? Even when it wasn’t in my best interest, even when it was wrong for me to do it, I continued to fight, and now that I’m here, you best believe that I’m going to make sure I don’t let this go. I’m not going to let anybody step up here and beat me for this title just because it was their ambition, just because they felt like they needed this more than me, because NOBODY needs this more than me. As I’ve done in the past, as you just saw me do at Grand Rampage, the one thing that I proved is the fact that I’m willing to do anything to make sure that I win, and I’ll do just as much to make sure that this Interwire Championship stays around my waist.
(The crowd continues to give a loud reaction to this as Chris nods his head, and he then begins to continue with a confident expression.)
Chris Elite: I’m going to keep it going, as I said before, the pressure is on, and I am going to succeed. Pain For Pride is coming up, and just because that’s happening, that doesn’t mean that I’m just going to wait to have my first title defense there. No, we have a handful of shows until we reach that point. I want to defend my Interwire Championship in the meantime. I know a lot of people are looking to shut me up, finally put me down by taking this title away from me, and if you have the balls to do that, now’s your chance to come out here and make yourself known.
(Chris then lowers his microphone down as he turns around to look at the stage, and he quickly gets what he wants… as ‘Lacrimosa [EPIC REMIX]’ by Samuel Kim begins to play through the speakers of the arena to a mixed reception from the crowd.)
Chris Elite: :comeagain:
(The camera focuses on a visibly confused Chris Elite as the shot then goes over to reveal Vincent Mondrian as he’s seen making his way out. He has a serious expression as he looks at the ring, taking a moment to embrace the atmosphere of the moment before he then begins to make his way down the ramp and toward the ring.)
Stew-O: Well, Chris Elite got what he wanted, but by the looks of things, it’s certainly not what he anticipated. As we all already know, Vincent Mondrian is a former Interwire Champion, and while he lost it unceremoniously in his first defense, it looks like he’s going to try his hand at getting his title back and becoming a two-time Champion.
Jake Mercer: :roman: All I’m going to say is that it’s going to be a tall task, especially when you’re facing someone like Chris Elite, who is not going to let that title go by any means.
Flannery McCoy: But Vincent has had some time to grow and learn from his mistakes, if you ask me, I don’t think that he intends to make the same one twice. He’s walking into this with a fresh mindset and the full intention of returning the favor for what happened to him last year at Road To Redemption, I guess we’re going to have to see what comes of this though.
(Vincent makes his way up the steps and onto the apron before entering through the ropes, already having a microphone in hand as ‘Lacrimosa [EPIC REMIX]’ then begins to come to a close. Approaching Chris with a serious expression on his face, the Champion tilts his head.)
Chris Elite: …
(There’s a pause as the crowd murmurs, but after some time, Chris can’t hold in the comedy of the situation right now.)
Chris Elite: :mjlol2:!!! You gotta be kidding me, bro! Vincent Mondrian?! I don’t know if you heard me, but I asked for a real challenge, not some bozo who couldn’t even hold this Championship for a month. I’m so good, man. If we could get someone else out here tonight, that would be appreciated, because the last thing that I want to do is waste my first title defense on some bum who couldn’t hack it in the title picture in the first place, man.
(Chris shakes his head as he turns around, perhaps looking to make his way out of the scene.)
Chris Elite: You got a fake chain, little bro. How about you go fight someone else who you have a chance against before trying to come at me-
(Chris turns his head around, but as he does, Vincent grabs him by the shoulder and turns him around.)
Stew-O: FOREARM SMASH RIGHT TO THE FACE OF THE CHAMPION DROPS HIM DOWN TO THE GROUND! Vincent Mondrian just laid out the Champion, and Chris Elite can’t believe what just happened!
(Vincent raises his microphone, a serious expression on his face.)
Vincent Mondrian: I don’t care what you have to say, I’m next.
(Vincent drops his microphone down to the ground as ‘Lacrimosa [EPIC REMIX]’ then begins to play through the speakers of the arena. Chris has rolled himself out of the ring, clutching his title to his chest and looking livid at what just went down. It’s the last shot seen before Friday Night Dynasty, then, begins to fade to elsewhere.)
(A commercial plays for Fighting Spirit, the final tri-brand marquee event of season eighteen before Pain for Pride. It will be emanating LIVE from the Studio Olimpico in Rome, Italy on May 17th, 2025! With potential Pain for Pride implications abound, you DON’T want to miss this show!)
(Friday Night Dynasty returns as the sounds of ‘Lacrimosa [Epic Remix]’ by Samuel Kim are heard playing in the background as Vincent Mondrian is seen preparing inside the ring. He has a focused look on his face as he surveys the crowd before stretching out.)
Stephie Love: THE FOLLOWING MATCH IS SCHEDULED FOR ONE FALL!!!!!
Crowd: ONE FALL!!!!!
Stephie Love: INTRODUCING FIRST… FROM LAREN, NETHERLANDS… WEIGHING IN AT 205 POUNDS… ‘ZERO’…VINCENT MONDRIAN!!!!!
Stew-O: Grand Rampage was not Vincent Mondrian’s night, as he would find himself eliminated by Miku Sakai. He did the best he could to survive the match, but Miku did great at capitalizing on an error by Vincent.
Flannery McCoy: Since losing the Interwire Championship back in December, Vincent Mondrian hasn’t been lucky. He’s tried to get himself back in the championship hunt, but it hasn’t been meant to be with him. Despite that, though we saw before the commercial break him interrupting Chris Elite and making one hell of a statement, even then his road to Pain for Pride was a little less clear than he anticipated. Maybe he anticipated heading to this event as the Interwire Champion. Instead, he finds himself wondering what Barcelona will look like for him in June.
Jake Mercer: The goal of these two Elitists should be to get themselves on that Pain for Pride card! End the season on top in any way they possibly can! Make them a desired Elitist for any brand to have next season! Right now, defeat the other and carry that momentum towards the end of the season!
(‘Burn In My Light’ Mercy Drive begins to play as Kai Rabeaux comes out from the back. He has a cocky smirk on his face as he looks over the sold-out crowd tonight. He begins to make his way down the ramp, feeling the energy of the crowd.)
Stephie Love: INTRODUCING HIS OPPONENT… FROM NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK..WEIGHING IN AT 230 POUNDS… HE IS ‘THE FORERUNNER’…KAI RABEAUX!!!!!!
Stew-O: At Grand Rampage, Kai Rabeaux stepped up and allowed everyone to know about the wrestler that he is. During the match, he eliminated Akari Kiyoko from the match. Eventually, he found himself eliminated by BRAE. However, he did a lot better than most people expected of him.
Flannery McCoy: He wasn’t on the Operation: Doomsday card, so there was no doubt that he was looking at Grand Rampage as an opportunity to possibly find himself on the Pain for Pride card. I like to think that he did that. He put on an amazing effort at Grand Rampage, and tonight, he’s going up against a former Interwire Champion in Vincent Mondrian, so it should be interesting to see how he does here. Especially with some newfound confidence.
Jake Mercer: Kai Rabeaux has always been confident in himself, but I feel like Grand Rampage blessed him with an opportunity to show everyone that he more than belongs to be here on Dynasty! Can he keep that momentum going for himself?
(DING! DING! DING!)
Stew-O: The two Elitists go for a lock up! Vincent Mondrian goes for a wrist lock and gets right behind Kai Rabeaux! But, Kai manages to switch before standing right behind Vincent with the headlock! Vincent manages to switch back as he applies the headlock! The two of them are applying some standing switches on the other until Vincent manages to get the upperhand, taking Kai’s arm to the front and over Vincent’s shoulder before connecting with an arm breaker! This creates some distance between Kai and Vincent! Kai manages to bounce back quickly before Vincent applies a headlock takedown!
Flannery McCoy: Vincent Mondrian applies more pressure onto the hold before slowly rolling to his knee! He maintains the headlock before releasing and going for the horizontal set of ropes and rebounds off of them! Kai Rabeaux hooks Vincent by the arm and connects with a hip toss! BUT, VINCENT MANAGES TO LAND ON HIS FEET BEFORE CONNECTING WITH AN ARM DRAG THAT SENDS KAI SLIDING ACROSS THE RING! BUT, KAI MANAGES TO GET BACK TO HIS FEET! HE GOES RIGHT AFTER VINCENT, LOOKING TO CONNECT WITH A CLOTHESLINE! VINCENT DUCKS AND CONNECTS WITH A ROLLING FOREARM TO THE SIDE OF KAI’S FACE AS THAT KNOCKS HIM BACK!
Jake Mercer: Vincent Mondrian sees that Kai Rabeaux is getting to his feet as he delivers a vicious stomp to the back of his head! That doesn’t seem to be enough for Vincent! He begins to connect with a series of rapid stomps to the skull of Kai! Kai is doing everything he can to cover his head, but Vincent is nailing him with each one! He goes for the first pin fall attempt of the match!
OOOOOOOONNNNNNEEEE!!!!!!!
Stew-O: Kai Rabeaux with a quick kick out! He finds his way into a seated position! Vincent Mondrian connects with a chin lock! But, Kai manages to easily slide himself out of the grasp of the former Interwire Champion! He manages to take Vincent to his back with a sliding clothesline! BUT, KAI BEGINS TO CONNECT WITH A SERIES OF PUNCHES TO THE SKULL OF VINCENT! VINCENT MANAGES TO SHOVE THE NEWCOMER OUT OF THE WAY! KAI RACES FORWARD AS HE CONNECTS WITH A POWER DRIVE KNEE AS THAT SENDS VINCENT BACK INTO THE ROPES! Kai stomps on the downed body of Vincent before getting his boot and driving it underneath the chin of Vincent! In the process, Vincent’s head is pushed back against the bottom rope!
Referee: (off-mic) ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR! FIVE! BACK AWAY, KAI!
Flannery McCoy: Kai Rabeaux manages to back away, allowing Vincent Mondrian a chance to get to his feet! BUT, AT THE SLIGHTEST SIGN OF VINCENT GETTING TO HIS FEET, KAI GOES RIGHT AFTER HIM AND CONNECTS WITH A SHARP BASEMENT DROPKICK TO THE FACE OF VINCENT! THEN, HE PULLS VINCENT BY THE FOOT AND GOES FOR THE COVER!
OOOOONNNNNNEEEEEEEEE!!!!
TTT–
Jake Mercer: Vincent Mondrian with a kick out! Kai Rabeaux grabs the leg of Vincent before connecting with a knee drop leg breaker! Right away, Vincent begins to clutch to his leg as he tries to get himself into a crawling position! But, Kai manages to get right behind Vincent and wrap his arms around the waist of Vincent! He lifts him up! He drops Vincent down with a body mat slam! Then, he gets right in front of Vincent and applies a front headlock! He picks up Vincent, still having him in a headlock before connecting with a series of kawada kicks, which causes Vincent to stagger back!
Stew-O: Kai Rabeaux races forward and nails a big boot to Vincent Mondrian! But, Vincent manages to duck the big boot! Kai’s leg stuck on the top rope! Vincent sees that as the opening to grab Kai by his other leg and lift him over the top turnbuckle! Kai lands on the apron! He turns around! Vincent runs towards Kai and nails him with a forearm as that sends him off the apron! Vincent rolls himself out of the ring! He grabs Kai and connects with throws him to the edge of the apron! Kai’s ribs collide with that edge of the apron! But, Vincent throws Kai forward to the edge of the apron again! Then, he grabs Kai and throws him on top of the apron with an x-plex! Kai is clutching his back in pain as he drops down once more!
Flannery McCoy: Vincent Mondrian gets himself to the turnbuckle! He is waiting for Kai Rabeaux to get back up! Kai races towards Vincent, looking to knock him off the apron! But, Vincent connects with a triangle dropkick as that takes Kai off the apron and crashes back down to ringside! Once more, Vincent exits the ring and stands on the apron! He waits for Kai to slowly get himself back up! Kai makes it to a knee level before Vincent connects with an apron penalty kick as that takes Kai! NO! KAI MANAGES TO DUCK HIMSELF OUT OF THE WAY! INSTEAD, IT’S KAI THAT DELIVERS A CHOPBLOCK TO THE BACK OF VINCENT’S KNEE THAT CAUSES HIM TO FALL BACK ON THE APRON! THEN, KAI MANAGES TO GET VINCENT’S FEET DANGLING ON THE APRON! VINCENT IS HANGING AS KAI CONNECTS WITH A HANGING DDT THAT SPIKES VINCENT ON THE TOP OF HIS HEAD!
Jake Mercer: KAI RABEAUX GETS HIMSELF AND VINCENT MONDRIAN ON THE APRON! I’M NOT SURE WHAT KAI HAS IN STORE, BUT HE LIFTS UP VINCENT IN A VERTICAL POSITION BEFORE DROPPING HIM ON THE APRON WITH A BRAINBUSTER! :damn: :damn: THAT LOOKED ABSOLUTELY BRUTAL THERE! KAI ROLLS VINCENT BACK INSIDE THE RING BEFORE SLIDING HIMSELF BACK IN THE RING! HE COVERS VINCENT! IS THIS GOING TO BE IT HERE?!?!
OOOOOONNNNNNNEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!
TTTTTWWWWWWOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!
Stew-O: Vincent Mondrian with a kickout! Kai Rabeaux rises to his feet before backing away! I’m not sure what Kai is looking to do, but he waits for Vincent to get to his feet! He doesn’t give Vincent the opportunity to turn himself around before connecting with a northern lariat! Kai likes to call that ‘Redlined’ as he manages to take Vincent to the corner! But, Vincent falls back as Kai picks him up and connects with a back suplex! BUT, KAI SEEMS TO BE ON FIRE AS HE MANAGES TO SPRINGBOARD HIMSELF BACK AND OFF THE ROPES BEFORE NAILING VINCENT WITH A ‘CRYSTAL KINGDOM CUTTER’ – HIS VARIATION OF A SPRINGBOARD CUTTER!
Flannery McCoy: BUT, VINCENT MONDRIAN MANAGES TO BLOCK THE CUTTER! HE HAS HIS FEET PLANTED ON THE GROUND AS HE MANAGES TO FLIP KAI RABEAUX IN A PILEDRIVER POSITION! WHAT AN UNBELIEVABLE COUNTER THERE! BUT, VINCENT ADJUSTS THE MOVE A BIT BEFORE TAKING HIM DOWN WITH A ‘REIRYOKU’ – A SITOUT SCOOP SLAM PILEDRIVER! VINCENT HOLDS HIM THERE FOR THE COVER!
OOOOOOONNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!
TTTTTWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!

Vincent begins to connect with a series of fists to the spine of Kai! He gets Kai in a powerbomb position! Kai is high up in the air as Vincent runs to the nearest turnbuckle and throws Kai spine-first to it! Kai catches himself, preventing himself from collapsing down! Vincent goes right after Kai with a ‘Galick Gun’ – that giant yakuza kick that causes Kai to drop down to a seated position!
Stew-O: Vincent Mondrian picks up Kai Rabeaux from underneath his chin and sends himself forward with a knife edge chop to the chest! Kai tries to get himself away from the corner, but Vincent holds him back before connecting with another knife edge chop to the chest! Vincent grabs Kai’s wrist as he pulls him closer and delivers a slap across the face of the newcomer! Then, he pulls Kai out of the corner before connecting with a series of right arm punches to the side of Kai’s face! HE GETS KAI BY THAT SAME ARM AND IT LOOKS LIKE HE’S GOING TO APPLY A KIMURA LOCK ON KAI! HE BEGINS TO BEND THE ARM BACK!

(DING! DING! DING!)
(‘Burn In My Light’ plays once more as Kai Rabeaux rolls himself out of the ring before Vincent Mondrian can attack him once more. Kai drops down on the edge of the apron as he can’t seem to believe what just happened, but he is more than pumped up.)
Stephie Love: THE WINNER OF THIS MATCH… KAI RABEAUX!!!!!!!!
Jake Mercer: Kai Rabeaux stole the victory from Vincent Mondrian! I thought that Vincent Mondrian was going to steal the victory there! Especially when he surprised Kai with a small package of his own!
Stew-O: Kai Rabeaux used Vincent Mondrian’s surprise against him and secured himself the victory! Vincent can’t seem to believe what just happened!
(Kai Rabeaux raises his own hand as he begins to walk back up the ramp. Meanwhile, Vincent Mondrian is arguing with the referee over the result of the matchup._
Flannery McCoy: An impressive victory for Kai Rabeaux! He is proving to be the one to be on the lookout for on this road to Pain for Pride!
(Friday Night Dynasty returns to show the backstage area of the Utilita Arena, as the camera focuses on backstage correspondent Michael Belfort, who is seen standing by with a microphone in his hand and a smile on his face. As the shot begins to settle down, he begins speaking to the fans in attendance and at home.)
Michael Belfort: Welcome back to Friday Night Dynasty, and what a show it has been! We are officially on the road to Pain For Pride, and with Fighting Spirit quickly approaching, there are a lot of Elitists, especially on the Dynasty brand, who are looking to get themselves into the picture. One in particular just came off a great match against Brian Daniels at Grand Rampage last week, unfortunately coming up short, but regardless, not deterred. Please welcome my guest at this time… Hans Grayson!
(The crowd inside the arena cheers loudly as the camera pans over to show Hans Grayson as he makes his way into the scene with a light smile on his face. He takes a moment to let the scene settle down, crossing his arms as Michael then begins to continue.)
Michael Belfort: Hans, thank you for joining us tonight.
Hans Grayson: Of course.
Michael Belfort: Well, as I mentioned earlier, you came up short against Brian Daniels last week at Grand Rampage. Do you have any thoughts?
(Hans looks down at the ground, taking a moment to think about what he’s going to say. After a little bit, he nods his head, looking up as he begins to speak.)
Hans Grayson: While I could be dejected about it, talk about how I have nowhere to go after the fact, and hone in on the idea that Pain For Pride has become unclear for me, this is nothing new. I’ve been here before, I’ve had my back against the wall, I know how it feels to be disappointed and left with absolutely nothing in return, it sucks, I get it. But just like that, I know that this isn’t the first time that I’ve gotten back up either. I know this isn’t going to be the first or the last time that I have to dust myself off and wonder what happens next, because I know that despite all of that, I can still go out there and still be the best version of myself that I can be. I am going to fight like my career depends on it, because it might just, and I’m going to make my way to Pain For Pride. I am going to end this season on a high note, and I’m going to show that everything that I’ve worked for wasn’t for nothing. Trust me when I say this: All of this is far from over, I will make an impact, that’s a promise.
(The crowd inside the arena continues to cheer as Michael speaks once more.)
Michael Belfort: Well, you’re certainly very confident. It might be a long shot to ask you this, but do you have any idea what you have in mind for Pain For Pride?
(Hans thinks about what he’s going to say for a moment here, before nodding his head surprisingly.)
Hans Grayson: I have a good idea of what I want out of this event. I know it could be easy to say that I want an opportunity at a World Championship, but the window is closing on that. While in a perfect reality, I would have a Championship around my waist, it’s clear that’s not the case. The one thing that’s going to force me to do though is motivate me to work harder than ever to get to the position where I want to be. And I know the only way to do it. The only way to do it is by stepping into a match that has given plenty of other Elitists in the past so many other opportunities. To work my ass off and make sure that I get myself to that World Championship that I so desire. It’s quite simple what I want… I want to participate in the Cash in the Vault match.
(The crowd cheers loudly at this as Hans has a smile on his face.)
Hans Grayson: It’s not going to be easy, knowing the task at hand and the potential competition that is going to come out of this, I am going to have to work harder than I have ever worked to get there, but make no mistake about it, I will do that, and in a matter of time, I will be able to call myself a World Champion.
???: I couldn’t agree more.
(The shot pans over as the crowd cheers loudly for Corey Hale, who is seen making his way into the scene. He has a smile on his face as he looks at Hans, clearly having a profound amount of respect for him as he begins to speak.)
Corey Hale: Hans, I know how hard you have worked to get to this point; you have earned the right to be in a match like Cash in the Vault. But while you were talking, I couldn’t help but have it dawn upon me that I, too, wanted to take part in it. I know it’s a long shot, and I know it’s not something that would have very favorable odds for me if I managed to make my way into it, but it doesn’t change the fact that I want to try, just like I tried at Grand Rampage to try and pull off the shock of the century. I want to show the world that I am still fighting, and despite the curveballs that they throw at me, I just won’t quit. Maybe the Cash in the Vault will be my way to do that; all I know is that I want to find out what comes of it.
Hans Grayson: I see where you’re coming from, Corey, but let me tell you that even though I admire the confidence, you don’t want to end up biting off more than you can chew stepping into the Cash in the Vault match. It’s not an easy task whatsoever, and you’re going to have to fight hard if you want to earn your spot there, and even more, you’re going to have to get past me. I want to see you try, but don’t get your hopes up.
???: You’ve gotta be FUCKING kidding me!
(The camera goes over as another person walks into the scene. Mia Santoro looks unhappy as she shakes her head in frustration, looking at the two of them.)
Mia Santoro: We’re just letting ANYONE participate in these sorts of matches now, aren’t we? Look, I understand that this is a huge opportunity, but that doesn’t mean that we’re just going to let it get to our heads and force us to make irrational decisions. You’ve got to be kidding me if you think even for a moment that someone like Corey Hale is going to even come close to participating in it. After being screwed in the Grand Rampage match, I don’t think there’s anyone more deserving than me to earn my spot in there, so I’m going to do that. There’s no question about whether I can beat the two of you to do it, because I will.
Corey Hale: Namaste, Mia, I think you have too much of a temper for someone who failed just as badly as I did in the Grand Rampage match. I respect your work ethic, but you should be careful of who you say these things to.
Mia Santoro: You shut your damn mouth!
???: No.
(Someone else is seen storming into the scene, as Kirk Redwood is seen with a serious expression on his face as he looks around.)
Hans Grayson: Everyone is taking my interview time, I suppose…
Kirk Redwood: Everyone’s calling their shot? Well, I guess I’m calling mine too. Hans knows what I have gone through and the opportunities that I’ve fought for in this past year, and he knows how dangerous a competitor I can be. I have scratched and clawed my way out of most situations, and I’m ready to do so here as well. I want to get into the Cash in the Vault match as well, and judging by the looks of things. It seems like there are too many people trying to get this opportunity for themselves. I’m going to have to weed out the competition.
(Everyone starts arguing, but before long, two people are seen briskly walking in.)
Richard Grant: Alright, that’s enough! Calm down! Everyone, calm down!
(Richard Grant and Kensingten Calhoun-Astor are seen interrupting the argument as they break apart the commotion.)
Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: There’s a lot of animosity here if I do say so myself, but all of you neaderthals are acting like there isn’t a solution that can come out of this. So me and Richard have decided to make things easier for the four of you.
Richard Grant: The Cash in the Vault qualifying matches will begin in the coming weeks, and the four of you will fight against each other to see the two Elitists who will be representing Dynasty in the match at Pain For Pride. If this truly means the world to you, then you’re going to show us, because this isn’t just any old match, this is a chance to become a World Champion, and you’re going to want to work your butts off for that.
Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: I’d prepare accordingly.
(Richard and Kensingten turn around and make their way out of the scene, as all four of them watch on. Hans, Kirk, Mia, and Corey have all mellowed out, and they look quite satisfied with the solution that was made here tonight. It’s the last shot seen before Friday Night Dynasty, then, begins to fade out.)
Stephie Love: Ladies and gentlemen, the following match is scheduled for ONE FALL!
Crowd: ONE FALL!
(“Rise and Fall” by Starset began playing to loud cheers from the audience as Corey Hale slowly made his way out onto the stage with a calm expression on his face; he gazed out to the audience before looking up to the cosmos. A smile appeared on his face as he made his way down the ramp, tagging the fans at the front row of the ramp seats as he did.)
Stephie Love: INTRODUCING FIRST! Hailing from Phoenix, Arizona, weighing in at 200 pounds… he is THE CELESTIAL WANDERER, COREEEEEEEEEEEEEY! HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALE!
Stew-O: We’ve got a match of the Grand Rampage participants here tonight with both wrestlers marching into Dynasty after attempting to win the Grand Rampage match for themselves! While neither of them were able to outlast the other 29 wrestlers in the match, there’s no doubt that has only fueled them to kick things into overdrive as we are now OFFICIALLY on the road to Pain for Pride!
Flannery McCoy: Corey Hale is the first of the two out here, and the Celestial Wanderer is looking to partake in his first ever Pain for Pride just over the horizon! With stakes like that and an opponent as legendary as the one he’s facing tonight, he’s bound to bring his A-game tonight!
Jake Mercer: But will Corey’s A-game be enough to overcome the threat posed by the Bird of Prey?
(‘Ghost Myself’ by DIAMANTE began blaring through the speakers to huge cheers as EAW’s cameras panned over to the stage; from behind the curtain strutted out the Huntress, Raven Roberts, flanked to the right by her husband, Rex McAllister! They struck a joint pose together before Raven marched ahead and made her way down the ramp to enter the ring, with the Lionheart following before staying by ringside.)
Stephie Love: AND HIS OPPONENT! Hailing from Atlanta, Georgia, weighing in at 122 pounds… accompanied by the Lionheart, Rex McAllister, she is THE BIRD OF PREY… RRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEN! RRRRRRRROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOBEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRTS!
Stew-O: The Huntress shows up to Dynasty tonight accompanied by her loyal husband, Rex McAllister, as they look to set a solid path for themselves on the road to Pain for Pride; like Corey, they were unable to achieve victory at the Grand Rampage match, but there is no time to be moping about that with how close Pain for Pride is!
Flannery McCoy: If you know anything about this legendary couple, it is that they are never too far away from fighting their way back into the main event fray; a victory on the first Dynasty en route to Pain for Pride may be just what Raven Roberts is looking for!
Jake Mercer: She’ll be looking to get some momentum going tonight just like Corey, and you can see from the determined look in her eyes that she has no intentions of letting this victory slip out of her hands; Corey Hale is just as determined, but only one of them will be able to walk out with the win tonight! Who will it be? It’s time to find out!
(Ding! Ding! Ding!)
Stew-O: And the match is underway! Raven Roberts and Corey Hale, both as focused as they can be, step out from their respective corners and begin circling the ring with their eyes locked on each other like hawks!
Jake Mercer: That’s not a hawk, that’s a Raven!
Flannery McCoy: :cmon:
Stew-O: In any case, Raven Roberts is not looking to keep this standoff going for too long as her aggressive pace begins to cut Corey Hale’s space in the ring off, gradually pushing him closer and closer to the ropes and corner until he’s forced to make a move– the Celestial Wanderer lunges forward and attempts to lock up with Raven Roberts, but the Huntress already had this planned from the start! Raven is able to duck underneath and catch the right hand of Corey Hale as she does so!
Flannery McCoy: She uses that clutched wrist to yank Corey Hale back and launch him into the corner with a heavy Irish whip, forcing him to land with his back pressed up against the turnbuckles! And now Corey Hale is being BRUTALIZED as Raven Roberts begins laying in with a bunch of kicks to the face and midsection of the Celestial Wanderer, before using the top rope for leverage and balance to increase the force she’s putting behind each of those strikes!
Jake Mercer: The use of the ropes has the referee stepping in, though, and Raven Roberts reluctantly takes a step back and gives Corey Hale some room; however, the moment Corey rushes forward in an attempt to take Raven out with a lariat, she manages to catch him and launch him straight down onto the canvas with a perfectly executed JUDO THROW, something that has always been a true staple of the Bird of Prey’s style!
Stew-O: Corey Hale has been facing the wrath of the Huntress thus far and it looks like that is going to continue as Raven Roberts immediately drops down and mounts Corey Hale on the canvas, looking to beat the lights out of him– OH, but Corey Hale managed to catch Raven off guard, yanking her down while she was leaning down and causing her to stumble and fall over his body!
Flannery McCoy: That fall managed to get Raven on her back and Corey immediately switched positions, getting a high mount on the Bird of Prey before she managed to do so to him! Impressive work from the Celestial Wanderer as he managed to outsmart the veteran in that play and now he’s reaping the prize!
Jake Mercer: That’s right, he’s laying into the Huntress with a barrage of forearms and elbow smashes to the head, all while Raven Roberts has both arms up in an attempt to keep her face as guarded as she can! Ultimately, she launches some return strikes of her own to stun Corey before she arches her back and uses her arms to force the Celestial Wanderer off of her, scrambling up as quickly as she can – it looks like Corey managed to get back to his feet quicker, though, and aims to keep up the pressure!
Stew-O: SUPERKICK to the Huntress has her absolutely stunned as she staggers back, clutching at her jaw in pain and shock! Keep up the pressure he does, as he rushes forward and forces Raven to continue stumbling back even more unstably with a jumping high knee right to the face! It’s a testament to the resilience of the Huntress that a superkick and a high knee in rapid succession did not manage to knock her off her feet, but she sure is close; however, the ropes get in the way of that as Raven stumbles right into them and leans on them for support!
Flannery McCoy: With the versatile type of wrestler that the Celestial Wanderer is, though, this may be an even bigger boon for him than if she did fall over! Raven is still dazed after the repeated attacks to her head, and Corey Hale immediately capitalizes by sending her OVER THE TOP ROPE! A clothesline right to the head is delivered with enough force by the Celestial Wanderer to knock Raven right over the rope and forces her to fall out to ringside!
Jake Mercer: Hell, if this was the Grand Rampage match, that would have been a star-making elimination for Corey Hale right there! However, the opportunity for that has come and gone; now, Corey needs to focus on continuing this momentum and keeping Raven down for the three count unless he wants to try to resort to utilizing a submission hold against her.
Stew-O: The Celestial Wanderer is not letting thoughts of Grand Rampage deter him right now, though, as being able to go over the top rope without losing the match actually manages to UNLOCK a part of his move set that he was not able to use as much in the big match! We’re seeing a sample of that style right here, despite not going over the top rope, BECAUSE HE’S LAUNCHING HIMSELF RIGHT OUT OF THE RING! SUICIDE DIVE BY THE CELESTIAL WANDERER, USING HIS OWN BODY AS A HUMAN WEAPON TO KNOCK RAVEN ROBERTS RIGHT UP AGAINST OUR COMMENTATOR’S DESK!
Flannery McCoy: Some amazing agility on display here by Corey Hale; more importantly, though, what a solid showing against a bonafide legend like Raven Roberts! He doesn’t seem to be finished yet, though, because just as quickly as he launched himself out of the ring to attack Raven, he slides himself back into the ring and sprints across to bounce off the ropes!
Jake Mercer: The rebound has him running back towards our side with increased velocity, and just in time for Raven Roberts to stagger back to her feet; THIS TIME HE LAUNCHES HIMSELF OVER THE TOP ROPE AND HURDLES RIGHT TOWARDS RAVEN ROBERTS WITH A TREMENDOUS TOPE CON HILOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Stew-O: OH MY GOD, NO! RAVEN ROBERTS BARELY MANAGED TO STEP OUT OF THE WAY AND DIRECT THE CELESTIAL WANDERER RIGHT INTO THE COMMENTATOR’S TABLE! COREY HALE HAS CRASHED AND BURNED WITH AN ANGLED LANDING ON TOP OF OUR TABLE BEFORE ROLLING AND FALLING RIGHT BETWEEN US! THIS IS CHAOS, AND RAVEN MANAGED TO PERFECTLY ORCHESTRATE IT!
Flannery McCoy: That’s not to take anything away from Corey Hale who really managed to have Raven Roberts in a tough position there, but that veteran instinct kicked in right at the nick of time and, as the old saying goes, Corey went high-risk and high-reward; this time, though, that high risk ended up biting him! Rex McAllister is cheering for Raven’s quick thinking from the side while the Huntress herself rubs her head in pain before making her way behind the table right to where we are… just to drag Corey out of here and back to ringside!
Jake Mercer: She drags the Celestial Wanderer up to his feet before grabbing his head and hooking one of his legs up high… AND CONNECTS WITH A T-BONE SUPLEX RIGHT TO THE RINGSIDE FLOOR! Corey Hale arches his back in pain, but Raven has no sympathy as she immediately drags him back to a standing position before rolling him underneath the bottom rope to get him back into the ring! She quickly follows suit and pushes him away from the ropes before hooking both of his legs and goes for the pin off of that failed tope con hilo and suplex! The referee slides in for the count!
ONEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
TWOOOOOOOOOOO-
Stew-O: OH, but Corey Hale still has fight left in him as he gives a fierce and defiant kick out! Raven Roberts looks a little surprised at the endurance on display, but she heard exactly how determined Corey Hale was en route to this match! He is not ‘submissive’, he is fighting to create a career for himself, so it’s going to be harder than that to put him down for the three count!
Flannery McCoy: The look in Raven’s eyes shows that she is perfectly okay with putting in as much pain as she needs to in order to get this victory here; for her, it’s not about how much endurance Corey has, it’s about how much pressure she needs to be able to BREAK that endurance for the night!
Jake Mercer: She slowly rises back to her feet and drags Corey Hale alongside her; the Celestial Wanderer is still dazed despite the kick out that he managed to do, but he’s about to get MORE dazed as Raven quickly pulls him into a muay thai hold! We’ve seen what she does with wrestlers that she manages to lock up like this, and THERE IT IS! SHE’S CONNECTING WITH SOME MUAY THAI HIGH KNEES TO THE TRAPPED HEAD OF THE CELESTIAL WANDERER! There’s nowhere for that kinetic energy to go, Corey is absorbing all of those strikes in their entirety!
Stew-O: But Raven is pushing forward! She immediately relinquishes the muay thai hold just to lock in A GUILLOTINE CHOKEHOLD! COREY HALE’S ZEN IS BROKEN RIGHT NOW AS HE’S FRANTICALLY TRYING TO ESCAPE THE HOLD, BUT RAVEN’S GRIP IS IRON TIGHT! Raven is trying to get her legs up for the body scissors, but the thrashing and flailing of the Celestial Wanderer is making that very difficult to do; as a matter of fact, it’s causing both wrestlers to step back towards the ropes!
Flannery McCoy: Raven tries to compress the guillotine choke hold even harder, but Corey is able to make it to the ropes before he’s forced to tap out to the maneuver! Raven is forced to relinquish the hold – BUT LOOK, THE MOMENT SHE DOES, COREY SPRINTS BEHIND HER AND APPLIES A REAR NAKED CHOKE FROM BEHIND! TIT FOR TAT, NOW RAVEN IS THE ONE STRUGGLING TO BREATHE AS COREY DRAGS HER AWAY FROM THE ROPES!
Jake Mercer: AND NOW COREY JUMPS HIS LEGS UP, APPLYING BODY SCISSORS AS HE DOES! RAVEN ROBERTS IS FORCED TO DEAL WITH THE ENTIRE BODY WEIGHT OF THE CELESTIAL WANDERER, ALL WHILE COREY IS FOCUSED ON CHOKING THE OXYGEN AWAY FROM RAVEN’S BRAIN! REX MCALLISTER IS SLAPPING THE APRON, CHEERING HIS WIFE ON, BUT WILL RAVEN BE ABLE TO HANG ON IN THIS POSITION?!
Stew-O: IF SHE FALLS DOWN, SHE MAY NOT BE ABLE TO GET OUT OF THIS! RAVEN IS STILL ON HER FEET, STRUGGLING AS MUCH AS SHE CAN, BUT COREY IS HOLDING ON WITH NO INDICATION OF LETTING GO! RAVEN MAY BE ABOUT TO TAP OUT OR PASS OUT…
Flannery McCoy: BUT WAIT! RAVEN ROBERTS SUDDENLY GETS A BURST OF ADRENALINE AND RUSHES FORWARD TOWARDS THE CORNER! SHE TURNS AROUND AT THE LAST MOMENT, SMASHING COREY HALE’S BACK AGAINST THE TOP TURNBUCKLE!
Jake Mercer: That abrupt counter was enough to force the Celestial Wanderer to let go as he arches his back in pain, all while Raven Roberts stumbles forward while clutching at her throat as she tries to get all the oxygen she can after being deprived of it for as long as she was! She glares at Corey as the Celestial Wanderer regathers himself and rushes forward, GOING FOR THE ZENBREAKER, THAT SIGNATURE RUNNING SINGLE KNEE FACEBREAKER!
Stew-O: BUT NO, RAVEN ROBERTS COUNTERED IT BEFORE IT COULD CONNECT! FACELIFT! FACELIFT CONNECTED, SPINNING COREY HALE AROUND AS IT KNOCKED HIM DOWN ONTO THE CANVAS! THE CELESTIAL WANDERER MAY BE OUT COLD RIGHT HERE AFTER HE GOT HIT WITH THAT SUDDEN SPINNING HEEL KICK OUT OF NOWHERE! RAVEN TIMED THAT SIGNATURE MANEUVER OF HER’S PERFECTLY… BUT SHE’S NOT GOING FOR THE COVER!
Flannery McCoy: SHE STEPS OVER THE BODY OF COREY HALE AND BEGINS TO SCALE THE CORNER INSTEAD! SHE’S NOT TAKING ANY CHANCES HERE, MAKING HER WAY TO THE TOP TURNBUCKLE, THE PERCH OF THE BIRD OF PREY!
Jake Mercer: SHE LOOKS DOWN AT THE CELESTIAL WANDERER AS SHE RISES TO HER FEET… BEFORE– THERE SHE GOES! SHE SPINS THROUGH THE AIR BEFORE LANDING RIGHT ON TARGET! RAVEN’S WINGS! RAVEN’S WINGS! THAT LEGENDARY SPIRAL TAP CONNECTS AS RAVEN PLUMMETS DOWN AND LANDS RIGHT ON THE LAID OUT BODY OF COREY HALE, AND NOW SHE LAYS ON TOP OF HIM FOR THE COVER RIGHT HERE!
ONEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
(Ding! Ding! Ding!)
(‘Ghost Myself’ by DIAMANTE began blaring through the speakers once again as Raven Roberts slowly staggers up upon hearing the referee’s third count; Rex McAllister slides into the ring and takes Raven’s hand in his own, raising it up and pointing to her as the triumphant victor! Raven raises her other arm up as well, celebrating in the center of the ring.)
Stephie Love: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, YOUR WINNER… THE HUNTRESS, RRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEN! RRRRRRRRRROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOBEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERTS!
Stew-O: A hard-fought match without a shadow of a doubt, both wrestlers brought their A-game to this battle, but ultimately this was Raven Roberts’ night as she managed to put the Celestial Wanderer away to get the victory! Her first victory as the road to Pain for Pride begins, but almost certainly not her last! With this bit of momentum, Raven is now able to craft her path to the biggest show of the year with confidence!
Flannery McCoy: Credit to the New Breed in Corey Hale who was able to bring the fight to a legendary wrestler with far more experience and accolades; there were multiple points in this match where Corey had Raven in trouble, and if he’s able to keep up the trajectory his growth is on, he can become a force to be reckoned with!
Jake Mercer: We’ll have to see whether or not the Celestial Wanderer is able to grow from this defeat as he marches onwards to Pain for Pride, but one thing is for sure; tonight, the Lionheart and the Huntress stand tall and proud knowing that Raven was able to bounce back from Grand Rampage!
(The video feed lingers on Raven’s celebration with Rex while Corey looks on in disappointment, clutching his ribs in pain, before the feed fades to black.)
(A commercial plays for the Voltage Supershow, Golden Gods, emanating LIVE from the Accor Arena in Paris, France! It takes place on May 4th, 2025, so don’t forget to mark down your calenders for that!)
(Backstage, the cameras cut to the locker room of Fire & Ice—and the viewers would see none other than Rex McAllister and Raven Roberts. The crowd watching on the screen roars with cheers as the duo appears. Seated side by side, Raven dabs the sweat from her brow with a towel while Rex reaches out, handing her a bottle of water. She gives him a tired but genuine smile, gratefully accepting it and quickly twisting the cap open for a much-needed boost of hydration.)
Raven Roberts: Thanks, hon.
(She exhales, but it was not quite from exhaustion but from something else, like a deeper kind of weight that was holding her down. Her eyes flutter shut for a moment, and her head dips slightly. Rex notices the subtle shift, his brow knitting with quiet concern.)
Rex McAllister: Everything good?
Raven Roberts: Yeah… yeah, I’m okay. I mean—it depends on what you call ‘okay,’ I guess. Physically? I’m fine. Match went well. But…
(Her voice trails. It’s like she wants to be cautious about what she wants to say next. However, reopening her eyes, she sees Rex giving her a comforting glance, urging her to be honest. Putting the water aside, both of her hands go to rest on her knees.)
Raven Roberts: I just expected this season to go better for us, honestly.
Rex McAllister: Hm.
Raven Roberts: Now, you know me better than anyone. I hate being a Debbie downer, but… it really has been frustrating, you know? I don’t know exactly what it is, but we haven’t really been able to capitalize on the huge opportunities we were given. First, it was the tag titles, then the Universal Women’s Championship; just this past weekend, we both lost the Grand Rampage match, and I… I just hate it, Rex. I hate how this is all beginning to feel like a repeat of last season.
(She pauses, her jaw tightening slightly.)
Raven Roberts: And don’t even get me started on you. You haven’t even had a singles title match this season. Not once. And for what? Because a couple of overgrown, backwoods mascots were more focused on playing circus than running a brand? If they’d done their jobs, who knows what you could’ve achieved by now? At the very least, one of us should’ve had gold, but with the season almost over now… damn.
(She shakes her head.)
Raven Roberts: We are really, really cutting it close.
(Rex nods his head, taking in everything his wife had to say. Conceptualizing his own thoughts, he scoots a little closer to Raven, and looks right at her as he responds.)
Rex McAllister: I get it. I truly do. Admittedly, even I am a bit frustrated. We certainly haven’t slacked off and gave every match our all, but for whatever reason, the puzzle pieces just haven’t been connecting in a way either of us anticipated for them to do. Slumps and missed opportunities are inevitable in this sport, but at the same time, it’s always going to sting when you feel like you have done everything possible to succeed only to fall short.
Raven Roberts: Yeah… at this point, I don’t know what else we can do. Hope to God we somehow get involved in the Cash in the Vault match? Leave it to chance that maybe there’s a number one contender match for the world championship? I definitely don’t want to go up to those two hillbilly fucks and give them any kind of sick satisfaction of us begging them to give us one more chance to enter Pain for Pride on a high note.
(Rex purses his lips in deep thought, letting her words truly absorb into his head. His mind begins to work, all sorts of thoughts and ideas spurring.)
Rex McAllister: Yeah… things haven’t exactly panned out in singles. But when it’s been you and me—together—we’ve been damn near unstoppable.
(Raven glances over at him, taking in his words… and nodding slowly.)
Raven Roberts: That’s true. Second-best tag record this season, right behind the champs themselves. No one else even comes close.
Rex McAllister: Exactly. British Invasion’s been on top, sure, and we did lose to the Jaded Hearts, but we’ve backed up everything we said about strengthening as a unit. We made that promise, and we’ve delivered.
(There’s a brief silence. Raven’s lips press into a faint, thoughtful line.)
Raven Roberts: I just… I worry what people think when they see Fire & Ice. That they look at us like some kind of pity project. Like, ‘Oh, well, they couldn’t get it done on their own, so I guess they settled.’ I know that’s not what this is, but sometimes it feels like that’s what the narrative wants to be. Still…
(A brief pause.)
Raven Roberts: I think it’s about time we call our shot, Rex.
(She looks down for a moment, then back up at Rex. Rex looks at her, eyebrows raised a bit… but it was a surprise of a pleasant sort, and a small smile creeps along his face to reflect that.)
Rex McAllister: …I agree. Couldn’t have said it better myself.
(Raven chuckles, her gaze falling to the floor, almost reminiscing about something.)
Raven Roberts: And, y’know, I’ve got a lot of history with the British Invasion. My first tag match? It was me and Madison against them. Crazy to think they’re champs now. Honestly? I didn’t think they’d make it, but they did, and with none of the usual bullshit hijinks they like to get up to. I’ll at least give them that.
(Her voice tightens with just the slightest edge.)
Raven Roberts: But even now, I still stand by what I said about them almost two years ago when I came back. They represent a disrespectful version of trusting the process. They say they want to prove they’re the best but act like they already run the whole damn division. Devolution. British Invasion. Different names, but the same coat of paint and definitely the same entitlement.
(She sits forward, eyes sharper now.)
Raven Roberts: And look, I’ve always wanted to be a two-time tag champ, but beating them for it? Staying undefeated against them in tag matches? That’s poetic justice.
Rex McAllister: I guess so, huh? You’re definitely fired up about the prospect of facing them again.
Raven Roberts: I am. Might as well against a team I know better than anyone else in the tag division, aside from Pandora’s personal boy-toy and his pal. It’s about time we pull the trigger, and this time, hit our targets.
(He leans in, voice low but firm.)
Rex McAllister: Halsey and Pandora might not like it. They’ve made it loud and clear they wanted to take those titles all the way to Pain for Pride, but that’s not our concern. What is? Not ending this season on a low. Not for me, and definitely not for you.
(Raven meets his gaze. They both nod in unison, smirking with the same fire in their eyes.)
Raven Roberts: Then let’s make it count.
Rex McAllister: Absolutely.
(And with their minds made up, the cameras fade away from their locker room before transitioning over to the ringside area, where Stew-O, Jake Mercer and Flannery McCoy are seated.)
Stew-O: Well, seems like things are heating up in the tag scene! Fire & Ice are poised to make their call against the EAW Unified Tag Team champions, the British Invasion!
Jake Mercer: Ohhhhh man. Like Raven said, she has tons of history with Pandora Paisley and Halsey Neel, and you know what? Maybe facing them is exactly what they need to get things rolling for themselves again. British Invasion has done well holding the fort down for almost five months now and has beaten almost every team there is, but the shadows of their past may very well come back to haunt them in the near future!
Flannery McCoy: It’s definitely going to be interesting once and if that match is made official. But now, it’s main event time, and the crowd is absolutely ELECTRIC for it!
(The camera cuts to Stephie Love in the ring.)
Stephie Love: The following main event contest is scheduled for one fall!
Crowd: ONE FALL!
(‘Duel of the Fates’ can be heard blaring throughout the speakers as the audience reacts loudly to the arrival of the former New Breed Champion, BRAE. BRAE halts at the stage, gazing upon the crowd with an intense gaze on his face, maintaining all of his focus as he’s walking down the ramp.)
Stephie Love: Introducing first! From Novosibirsk, Russia! Weighing in at 215 pounds… ‘SON’ BRRRRRRRRRAE!!!
Stew-O: The former New Breed Champion has always been one to accept any challenge that should come his way, BRAE’s looking to have a great encounter with his opponent tonight, and that much is to garner all the more momentum.
Flannery McCoy: BRAE will march into the main event yet again against a competitor that can be tested for what she brings to the table, to ensure it’s not gonna be anything for BRAE to even think about underestimating tonight!
(‘Let Me Hear’ by Fear, and Loathing in Las Vegas can be heard. Saori Aizen emerges from the back with focus across her face, keeping her own eyes set on the ring as she walks down the ramp without taking her eyes off of the opponent ahead of her.)
Stephie Love: Introducing his opponent! From Tokyo, Japan! Weighing in at 130 pounds… SAORIIIIIIIIII AIZEN!!!
Stew-O: Saori Aizen is looking to rebound considerably from Grand Rampage as well, as she was able to put up a sizable run in her own right by going a great distance before being eliminated by her very brief partner in crime in the match itself.
Jake Mercer: And she will have to take up all of the anger and place it within going against one of the most intense competitors in EAW today, which she has proven herself capable of matching in every right. This main event will be a testament to that!
(DING! DING! DING!)
Stew-O: And we’re off! BRAE faces off with Saori Aizen right here in the main event of Dynasty! These two elitists are still looking to find themselves in the most prosperous positioning that they can possibly muster after the events of Grand Rampage. Both elitists have a great deal to accomplish through their efforts as the seasons rage on, and with this season soon coming to a close, momentum is more crucial than ever in a match of this facet where main event victories can certainly place them on the path of success soon before long!
Flannery McCoy: As BRAE & Saori begin to motion around the ring, looking to make as much good as possible out of this opportunity they have been given on the main event stage while they absolutely can! They begin to move themselves forward—as BRAE looks for a forearm—BUT SAORI DUCKS & SENDS A SIDE KICK SPRAWLING ACROSS BRAE!! BRAE is being kept at bay as Saori is now sending another kick sprawling across the chest of BRAE! And ANOTHER kick is being placed that’s keeping BRAE from mustering up any of the offense that he usually likes to place!
Jake Mercer: With Saori mounting as much of this offense in her own right as possible right now, BRAE is being backed into the corner, and he sees himself in a rather vicarious spot right now as she’s sending just ANOTHER kick across his chest! And now she’s mounting up all of the strikes, sending repeated forearms across her temple as she’s refusing to let up while maintaining all of this control that she can! The referee is counting down as this can result in a swift disqualification loss if Saori isn’t careful enough in halting all of the pressure that has been thrown her own way!
Stew-O: As Saori has no choice but to back herself away from the corner as the referee could have ended this match rather early! She does not want that to occur as she’s able to back away, ignoring any of the words that the referee could be throwing her way as she’s now looking ahead & toward the former New Breed Champion! Saori is looking to make the rush back toward BRAE as she proceeds to RUSH TOWARD HIM FOR A RUNNING DROPKICK—
Flannery McCoy: BUT BRAE SIDESTEPS & SENDS AN OVERHEAD CHOP DIRECTLY OVER HER CHEST!!! Saori is feeling all of that chop as she’s mustering up all of the energy to bring herself back up, refusing to stay down for long as she was just maintaining that control she had—AS BRAE SENDS ANOTHER CHOP SPRAWLING ACROSS HER CHEST! Saori is being placed through the pressure now as BRAE doesn’t let up for a single second now.. SENDING A THIRD CHOP AS SAORI IS SENT REELING INTO THE CORNER WITHOUT AVAIL! THIS IS NOT GOOD!
Jake Mercer: AS BRAE BRINGS HIMSELF TO THE CORNER & SENDS REPEATED CHOPS TOWARD SAORI!! MACHINE GUN CHOPS ARE SOUNDING OFF AS SAORI IS UNABLE TO FIND THE GROUND THAT SHE’S LOOKING FOR! Aizen is struggling considerably here as BRAE is now ensuring that every single chop is firing off in succession! The referee is counting down, but BRAE is refusing to let up as Saori even drops to a seated position against the corner—AND BRAE IS STILL CHOPPING AWAY!! THIS IS NOT GOING WELL FOR HIS OPPONENT AT ALL HERE!
Stew-O: As BRAE finally backs himself up from the corner after the referee comes dangerously close to the five count! BRAE puts his hands up as the referee is speaking a great deal toward him, but he doesn’t pay much mind to him as well as he looks ahead to Saori who is still situated in the corner.. AND HE LOOKS TO APPLY FURTHER PRESSURE BY RUSHING FORWARD WITH A FIERCE BOOT INTO THE CORNER!
Flannery McCoy: BUT SAORI ROLLS HERSELF OVER & ONTO THE APRON TO AVOID THE BOOT IN THE CORNER! BRAE is unable to land the boot, but he is able to stop himself at the corner with his hands grasping onto the ropes! Saori is now trying to pull herself back up here, looking to keep herself in this match for as much ample time as she can possibly muster while BRAE is still on the prowl.. as he’s got a handful of her hair!! Saori is yelling out as BRAE is dragging Saori upward, looking to rush her over toward the RINGPOST—
Jake Mercer: BUT SAORI STOPS HERSELF WITH A FOOT AGAINST THE POST—AND SENDS A PENDULUM KICK SPRAWLING ACROSS THE TEMPLE OF BRAE!! Saori with her swift reflexes as she’s able to send BRAE back, with the former New Breed Champion now teetering in place as he’s got a hand on his own head, with Aizen reaffirming her own stance here before leaping upward & onto the top rope as she’s NOW LAUNCHING TOWARD BRAE—
Stew-O: AS THE MISSILE DROPKICK CONNECTS!!! BRAE IS TAKEN DOWN BY THE MISSILE DROPKICK WHICH CAUSES HIM TO ROLL BACKWARD & ONTO HIS KNEES! BRAE is unable to bring himself back up as he’s remaining in place, vulnerable in this state while Saori is able to kip herself back up while looking ahead to BRAE! She motions herself back over to her opponent with the same swiftness—AS A ROUNDHOUSE KICK ACROSS THE JAW OF BRAE LANDS!! Saori rushes herself over to make the pin!! Here’s the cover!!
ONEEEEEEEEE!!!
TWOOOOOOOOOO—
Flannery McCoy: NOPE! BRAE WITH THE SHOULDER UP!! BRAE is able shove Saori off and slowly sit himself upward, but Saori is returning back to her own feet just as quickly as she’s now following BRAE while quicker to her stance.. TO SEND A FIERCE KICK ACROSS HIS CHEST!! BRAE is being suppressed to the fullest as Saori refuses to slow down for as much room as she has to maintain all of this control! Saori doesn’t stop from there as ANOTHER KICK ACROSS HIS CHEST FOLLOWS SUIT! Not enough to put BRAE down, but Saori now backs herself away as she’s reeling her leg back & aiming for AN IMMENSE KICK ACROSS HIS TEMPLE—
Stew-O: BUT BRAE STOOD UP & CAUGHT HER LEG AT THE NICK OF TIME—BEFORE NAILING HIS PALM RIGHT OVER THE CHEST OF SAORI WITH A SICKENING STRIKE!! Aizen felt every single bit of that palm strike as she is refusing to be put down in her own right, shaking her own head vigorously as she’s keeping to a stance for as much as she possibly can.. ‘TILL BRAE SENDS A VICIOUS ELBOW ACROSS HER TEMPLE TO KNOCKS SAORI CONSIDERABLY! She’s sent sprawling into the ropes before teetering forward & BRAE—
Flannery McCoy: AS BRAE WASTES NO TIME HOISTING SAORI AIZEN UPWARD & SENDING HER DOWNWARD WITH A URANAGE!!! Saori is down on the mat as BRAE doesn’t waste any time from here, dropping down to the mat & hooking the leg as the cover has been made! The referee rushes himself over to make the count!
ONEEEEEEEEE!!!
TWOOOOOOOOOO—
Flannery McCoy: NO! SAORI KICKS OUT!! BRAE nods to himself as Saori is now crawling, trying to bring herself up to a proper spot in this match as BRAE has been able to mount all of the offense from here! Control is in his arsenal here as now Aizen is looking to clutch onto the ropes, dragging herself upward yet this is not the best position to be with her back turned—AS BRAE SENDS A SUDDEN FOREARM OVER HER UPPER BACK!! AND ANOTHER CLOBBERING BLOW OVER HER BACK AS WELL!! Saori is being placed through the struggle as she’s refusing to stay down, but BRAE is here to ensure that she can’t come back from the heat!
Jake Mercer: AS BRAE IS LOOKING TO WRAP HIS ARMS AROUND HER & LAUNCH HER WITH A GERMAN SUPLEX—BUT SAORI IS HOLDING ONTO THE ROPES!! Saori is refusing to let go as she’s not looking to be sent for the ringer there as BRAE is trying to make this maneuver go through! BUT BRAE WITH ANOTHER CLOBBERING STRIKE OVER SAORI’S UPPER BACK AS SHE HAS TO LET GO! Aizen can’t hold out for too long as BRAE now has all of the room here to GERMAN SUPLEX SAORI ACROSS THE RING!!
Stew-O: As Saori is sent rolling away and onto the apron!!! BRAE can’t take advantage as quickly as he may have liked to as Saori is able to roll herself from the mat and onto the apron, but BRAE is not looking to slow himself down to a pace that does not suit him! He’s now taking himself over to Saori, dragging her upward as she’s looking to stand herself up yet BRAE’s got her hoisted in position while trying all that he can to maintain control! AS HE’S STOOD OVER THE MIDDLE ROPE.. AND LOOKING TO SUPLEX SAORI FROM THE APRON & BACK INTO THE RING!
Flannery McCoy: BUT SAORI DESPERATELY APPLIES THE GUILLOTINE CHOKE AS BRAE IS UNABLE TO CONNECT!! Saori is refusing to let go as this may not be a maneuver in her wheelhouse, yet she’s willing to venture into submissions of this intent as the referee is now counting down as this is an illegal submission being done on the ropes! But Saori is doing everything in her power to pull BRAE over those ropes & back onto the apron that she was just caught within in order to keep him at bay!
Jake Mercer: As BRAE is sent onto the apron alongside Saori with the two now positioned accordingly! Just before the referee can hit the five count as this match does continue on! This is panning out as well as it can for both elitists tonight as they have been able to throw everything at one another with their vicious offense, but it appears this is about to amplify itself to a much further degree as now Saori is looking to SEND A SWIFT FOREARM ACROSS THE TEMPLE OF BRAE!
Stew-O: AS BRAE IS ROCKED BY THAT FOREARM! He’s reeling back but clutching onto the rope with a hand to keep himself from falling down off of the apron as he redirects all of his focus back onto Saori—TO SEND A SWIFT FOREARM OF HIS OWN ACROSS HER TEMPLE!! Saori is knocked back considerably as she’s shaking her own head, clutching onto the rope as she’s doing everything that she can to maintain her own ground as well!
Flannery McCoy: AS SHE SENDS A KICK DIRECTED ACROSS HIS CHEST ONCE MORE WITH FORCE! BRAE is wincing in pain as his chest has turned red from all of the punishment he has been placed through from here, shaking his own head as he’s clutching onto the rope and refusing to be put down with all of the energy that he’s still got left in the tank! BRAE grits his teeth as he’s now looking directly at Saori without much in the way—
Jake Mercer: AS HE SENDS A KNIFE EDGE CHOP ACROSS HER CHEST THAT IS ENOUGH TO HAVE SAORI FEELING ALL OF THE PAIN AS WELL!! She leans back, unable to retort as the chop has caused her to keep back & try to recover while BRAE has his own sights set on making some good out of this opportunity that he’s got from here! Saori’s shaking her own as BRAE IS NOW RUSHING FORWARD & LOOKING FOR TO SPRAWL TOWARD HER—
Stew-O: HEADBUTT FROM SAORI SUDDENLY HALTS BRAE RIGHT WHERE HE STANDS!! Saori is able to retort with a very sudden headbutt that causes BRAE to reel back & remain in this immense daze! BRAE is staggered as Saori doesn’t waste another moment rushing ahead & NAILING A HURRICANRANA THAT SENDS BRAE ONTO THE RINGSIDE FLOOR!!! BRAE IS TAKEN DOWN FROM THE APRON & TO THE FLOOR!!
Flannery McCoy: AN IMMENSE MANEUVER FROM SAORI! BRAE is deep trouble now as Saori is doing everything that she can to drag BRAE into the ring, with BRAE trying to keep himself from remaining down entirely as he’s got a hand over his own lower back, as Saori is now clutching onto his wrist while refusing to let up from here—AND NAILS ‘MIRROR FLOWER, WATER MOON’!!!! THE KNEE STRIKE CAUSES BRAE TO BE SENT BACK AS SAORI HOOKS THE LEG!
ONEEEEEEEEE!!!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
THREEEEE—
Jake Mercer: NO! THE KICK-OUT FROM BRAE IS ENOUGH TO KEEP HIMSELF IN THE MATCH!! Saori is sitting up in a hurry, shaking her own head as she’s clutching back onto BRAE’s wrist while dragging him over to the ropes, leaning him accordingly as she’s got him exactly where she may need him!! Aizen proceeds to rush the ropes, before rushing back toward BRAE is she wants to seal this match with ‘RAIMEI HAKKE’ TO BRING THE WIN—
Stew-O: BUT BRAE SIDESTEPS! SAORI STOPS HERSELF AT THE ROPES AS SHE TURNS BACK AROUND—WITH BRAE CLOTHESLINING SAORI OVER THE TOP ROPE!! Saori manages to hold on yet she’s unable to recover as quickly as she wants to, dragging herself upward while in this struggle to bring herself back up, but BRAE has recovered more than enough as he’s pulled Saori into position while she’s on the apron!
Flannery McCoy: ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR! FIVE! SIX! SEVEN! EIGHT! NINE! ‘TEN BEATS OF BRAE’!!! THAT’S ENOUGH!! Saori is dazed as BRAE now pulls Saori away from the apron & back into the ring, hooking her arms as she’s now caught in being hoisted upward by the former New Breed Champion—AS SHE’S BROUGHT DOWN WITH A BUTTERFLY SUPLEX!!! The cover is made as BRAE looks to pick up the win!!
ONEEEEEEEEE!!!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
THREEEEE—
Jake Mercer: NO!!! SAORI KICKS OUT!!! She’s shaking her head vigorously as she is refusing to go down to BRAE! BRAE is now bringing himself back up, and he’s set on putting an end to this match once & for all as he backs into the corner! Saori is staggering herself upward as she’s now trying to remain on her feet, doing everything in her power to keep to this match as BRAE has her lined up from here! BRAE looks toward Aizen and RUSHES FORWARD WITH ‘MORRIGAN’—
Stew-O: SAORI SENDS A ROUNDHOUSE KICK SPRAWLING ACROSS BRAE’S TEMPLE TO KEEP HIM FROM SENDING ANY MEASURE OF OFFENSE!! BRAE IS DOWN TO KNEE!! Saori is keeping herself on the move as she’s looking to send a swift end to this match once more, rushing beyond the ropes & back to BRAE WITH ANOTHER ATTEMPT FOR ‘RAIMEI HAKKE’!
Flannery McCoy: BUT BRAE RUSHES PAST SAORI & TURNS HIMSELF BACK AROUND WHILE SHE’S ALSO LOOKING TO GARNER FOCUS TOWARD HIM—AS BRAE IS LOOKING FOR ‘MORRIGAN’ AGAIN!!!
Jake Mercer: BUT SAORI DUCKS UNDER & PULLS BRAE ONTO THE MAT—AS SHE’S NOW FLIPPING OVER FOR THE O’CONNER ROLL PIN!!!
ONEEEEEEEEE!!!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE—
Stew-O: BUT BRAE EXERTS UPWARD & PUSHES HIS BODYWEIGHT OVER SAORI TO MAINTAIN A PIN ATTEMPT OF HIS OWN!!!
ONEEEEEEEEE!!!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE—
Flannery McCoy: SAORI LIFTS THE SHOULDER UP—BUT BRAE HOISTS SAORI UPWARD IMMEDIATELY AFTER—TO POWERBOMB AIZEN ONTO THE MAT!!!! SAORI IS DOWN AS BRAE REELS HIS FOREARM BACK—
Jake Mercer: TO NAIL ‘RED DEATH’!!! H-BOMB IS ENOUGH AS SAORI HAS BEEN RATTLED!! BRAE WITH THE COVER!!!!
ONEEEEEEEEE!!!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
(DING! DING! DING!)
Stephie Love: HERE IS YOUR WINNER…. BRAEEEEE!!!
Flannery McCoy: Quite the win for BRAE tonight as he’s able to mount up considerable momentum toward the journey to Pain for Pride!
Jake Mercer: Saori Aizen did show that she’s able to be as emphatic & aggressive between those ropes as she needed to be in order to keep herself going toe to toe with her opponent!
Stew-O: But tonight, it was not enough for the former New Breed Champion as this would turn in his own favor. Congratulations to BRAE!
(‘Clash of the Gods [Epic Version]’ can be heard blaring through the speakers as BRAE stands himself up, clutching onto his lower back as the referee raises his hand in victory. Saori shakes her own head vigorously while gritting her teeth in frustration as she leans by the ropes, with BRAE raising a fist in the air as the scene fades to break.)
(A commercial plays for Panda Express, featuring Drake King promoting the Honey Walnut Shrimp. He’s one of those weirdos though that pairs it with the Super Greens instead of white rice, though.)
(Back from commercial break, Stew-O, Jake Mercer and Flannery McCoy are seen by the commentary desk.)
Stew-O: Well, it’s been an incredible night of action on Dynasty, but now—
Jake Mercer: KJNKKEJCNJNEWCRJNKRNVJRNVJN3NJWNECFJNWRVRIVNNROVGNWONFLNCIN IGOETNBOINFOVRNWRONVNRIVGIFNDJNCJNFNRVJWRVIWRNGUIBERWNCEJINVIWNIRNECKNJENWFLNVJLENLCFJNNKDAFLNLNLVNWRNVJNWLRNVNJRVGJONRWJVGNOOURBVOBWRVUIWDFJNVIWRVGNIWRIVWRVJWOVJJDCNQEJFCNHEINVHWRVBWIRHVB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Flannery McCoy: Sigh…
Stew-O: I’ll go ahead and let Jake Mercer take over for this moment, then. :mjlol:
Jake Mercer: TUPAC BACK! TUPAC BACK! THERE’S ALL THESE BITCHES SCREAMING OUT TUPAC BACK! ALL EYES ON ME, BETTER PICTURE ME ROLLING, BUYING BRAND NEW RIMS, BUT THEM BITCHES BE STOLEEEEEN!!
Flannery McCoy: … Why are you singing his old theme he doesn’t use any–
Jake Mercer: STRANDED ON DEATH ROW, BRENDA HAVING MY BABY, BUT I’M STACKING MY PAPER, I NEED A BRAND NEW MERCEDEEEES!!
Flannery McCoy: 💀
(Of course, ‘Tupac Back’ does not play, but instead, ‘Saint Pablo’ by Kanye West, and unlike Jake, the fans are less than thrilled to hear that play. In fact, the English crowd stands up and boos. However, the newly-crowned World Heavyweight Champion could give less of a damn about the hostile reaction as Cy Henderson walks out, bearing a vindicated grin with the title itself glimmering on his shoulder.)
Stephie Love: Ladies and gentlemen, introducing at this time… theeeee NEEEEEEWWW, EAW World Heavyweight Champion… CYYYYYYY HEEEEEENDEEEERSOOOOOOON!!!
Stew-O: Last week, Cy Henderson defeated Joso to win the EAW World Heavyweight Championship in a grueling main event of night one! Joso did everything he could to try and retain, from taking multiple finishers to even getting hit with some brass knuckles, but in the end, he couldn’t push through, and Cy was able to put him down with the ‘Void Lock,’ causing him to pass out.
Jake Mercer: CY REALLY IS HIM! CY IS REALLY LIKE THAT! AND NOW, NO ONE CAN DENY MY GOAT! HE HAS BEEN COOKING AND GOT HIS DIGNITY BACK!!
Flannery McCoy: Dignity? After using some brass knuckles??
Jake Mercer: It’s not cheating if you win. That’s just tactical excellence, Flannery. Tactical! Excellence!
Stew-O: Regardless of how you feel about the means, there’s no denying the result. Cy Henderson is the new EAW World Heavyweight Champion, and he’s about to address the Dynasty crowd for the first time with that title.
(Cy stands atop the stage, soaking in the hate like it fuels him. He slowly raises the title over his head, drawing louder boos from the U.K. crowd. Then he lowers it back to his shoulder and starts walking down the ramp with calm swagger, not at all bothering to hide the smug glint in his eyes.)
Crowd: YOU DON’T DE-SERVE IT! 👏 👏 👏👏👏 YOU DON’T DE-SERVE IT! 👏 👏 👏👏👏
Jake Mercer: How rude!!
(Cy laughs. He shakes his head as he enters the ring, and he calls for a microphone. Once that is given to him, ‘Saint Pablo’ fades. Cy stands in the center, looking around.)
Crowd: BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
(He smirks, and cutting through the vitriol, he speaks.)
Cy Henderson: Well… some things are just bound to happen. Ever since I returned to EAW, I have done nothing but reinvent myself and, in turn, found this new spark in me. At first, I wanted to rekindle my love for this industry that I once carried on my back, content with facing off against whoever was deemed the best of this era, along with some familiar faces. However, as time went on, my priorities changed. I wasn’t going to settle. I knew I wanted to be a champion again, and since I arrived on Dynasty this season, I was determined to make sure I wouldn’t walk out of it with nothing to show for myself like the last one. Instead, I got down in the dirt, and that led me to winning Iron Survivor, and now… a world champion for the third time in my career.
Cy Henderson: This is the first time I have won the Heavyweight title, and knowing that I can beat whoever is supposed to be the leader of this era makes me feel good. Of course, I know that many of you aren’t happy about it. All of you rooted against me, wanted Joso to win and add me to his own cute, growing list of people he’s beaten, but that wasn’t going to happen. Sure enough, he couldn’t beat me—and he couldn’t even fight back against me when it was all said and done.
Crowd: BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
Cy Henderson: Again, hate it all you want, but that doesn’t change reality… and the reality is that I kept to my word. I said I was going to win, and I did. I said that Joso didn’t know what was truly in store for him, and I was right. He was an overly ambitious and cocky kid who thought he had everything worked out, but look where it got him, and look where it got me. I’m the champion now. Not him.
(He holds up the World Heavyweight Championship again, letting it glimmer in the lights before dropping it back onto his shoulder.)
Cy Henderson: Now that this is in my hands, things are going to change around here. No more boy kings. No more hollow marketing tools with flashy moves and empty souls. I get to make Dynasty mine, and above all? I get to redefine my own legacy while doing so. I was always a controversial figure, even with my enshrinement into the Hall of Fame, but you know what? I got over it. My past is my past, and instead of trying to be Good Guy Cy who says and does all of the right things, I chose to be real. I chose to stop pretending. I chose to stop playing the game by everyone else’s rules just to get a pat on the back. And guess what? The moment I dropped that mask, the moment I stopped begging for approval from people who never really wanted me to win in the first place… everything changed.
Cy Henderson: I may never be accepted into your good graces ever again, but that is the price I am willing to pay. All that matters is that I thought for myself, found who I was once more, and no one can ever deny me—
(‘When Darkness Falls’ by Killswitch Engage hits.)
Crowd: bruh.mp4
(Cy’s lips purse into a thin line, exasperation noted on his countenance as Drake King steps out onto the stage and makes his way towards the ring. He already has a microphone in his hand.)
Stew-O: Oh boy, things are already looking to heat up! Drake King promised that if he won Grand Rampage, he would be coming after either Joso or Cy Henderson for the EAW World Heavyweight Championship! Now that he accomplished that feat, becoming a two-time Grand Rampage winner, it looks like he isn’t about to waste any time!
(The crowd is even more hostile as two men they despise now share the same ring. However, Drake laughs, and sets all of his attention over to Cy. The champion sighs, and steps a bit closer, looking Drake right in the eyes. ‘When Darkness Falls’ fades off, and—)
Crowd: FUCK YOU BOTH! FUCK YOU BOTH! FUCK YOU BOTH! FUCK YOU BOTH!
Flannery McCoy: :lupe: !!
(Drake rolls his eyes and fans off the crowd, before he turns his attention back over to Cy.)
Drake King: Now, now, you guys aren’t going to get me riled up, especially not when I myself have won big at Grand Rampage by winning a match that I know all about winning in.
Crowd: BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
Drake King: And Cy… one thing you should know about me more than anything else is that I am a man of my word. The rest of the field didn’t have a chance against me. It was always going to come down to this, and seeing as how you beat Joso, guess what? I’m coming after you.
Cy Henderson: Oh, really? And which personality am I talking to this time?
Drake King: There’s no facade with me, Cy. Never has been. Don’t be ridiculous and stupid. I am being honest, and the last thing you want to do is try to take up another job in comedy like the other Elitists that have tried to go against me. At the end of the day, I am Drake King, the 2025 Grand Rampage winner, and it should be pretty obvious what it is that I want as my reward for winning that match.
Cy Henderson: Yeah, you did win, and you know what? Great for you, man. Really. However, Drake, you along with Joso have been real annoying, and honestly, I don’t know if you want to be all gun-ho about facing me. I mean, it would be a shame if you, say, wasted a Pain for Pride main event when you’re going up against a very game Cy Henderson.
Drake King: Well then, it’s a good thing I’ve got four of those main events under my belt, soon to be five—and far more than you ever had.
(The crowd admittedly gasps at that little dig. However, Cy gives a smirk and shakes his head.)
Cy Henderson: Right. Even with you being a Hall of Famer in your own right, you’re just like those from this era where you all love to run your mouths off with little regard for anything else. That’s fine, though. If you want to embarrass yourself against me, then be my guest. However, I’m not in the camp of losing this championship anytime soon—and definitely not to you?
Drake King: Oh, yeah? And what makes you think you have any choice in the matter?
(Suddenly, the fans… begin to cheer. Cy picks up on this, but he doesn’t react; Drake is still laser-focused on the champion.)
Drake King: I am going to take that title even when you least expect it, Cy, and there’s nothing you can do about i–
(BAM!)
Stew-O: OH MY! DRAKE KING IS DOWN! DRAKE KING IS DOWN! HE CLUTCHES HIS BACK, AND RIGHT THERE…
Jake Mercer: WHAT!?? IT’S JOSO! JOSO JUST TOOK OUT THE GRAND RAMPAGE WINNER WITH A STEEL CHAIR! HE DROPS IT AND YELLS AT HIM! THE FANS ARE GOING CRAZY!
Flannery McCoy: AND CY LOOKS ON IN SHOCK! JOSO TURNS TO HIM AND POINTS RIGHT AT HIM! CY RAISES THE TITLE AND JOSO CHARGES AT HIM! CY LOOKS TO HIT HIM SQUARE IN THE FACE—
Stew-O: BUT HE GOES DOWN WITH THE SUPERKICK! CY ROLLS OUT OF THE RING, CLUTCHING HIS JAW! AND JOSO TURNS BACK TO DRAKE KING, PICKING UP THE MICROPHONE!
Joso: Alright, you little bitch! You think you can cut ahead of me!? Then how about I make sure you don’t get an easy time at Pain for Pride, because at Fighting Spirit, I WANT YOU, AND WHEN I WIN, I WANT TO BE IN THE WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH!
Stew-O: WHAT!???
(The declaration of intent sends shockwaves to the entire arena. The fans tremble with excitement!)
Crowd: JO-SO! JO-SO! JO-SO!
(Joso slams down the mic and storms off, heated as ever. Drake King sits up, in pain, but he’s also enraged by the attack! Cy on the outside is equally as pissed!)
Jake Mercer: WAIT, IS HE CHALLENGING DRAKE KING TO A MATCH?? AND HE SAID HE WANTS TO BE IN THE WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH??? CAN HE EVEN DO THAT!??
Flannery McCoy: I don’t know, but I guess we’ll get our answers for sure next week on just what exactly we should expect in the fallout of tonight!
Stew-O: Either way, what a statement made by the former World Heavyweight Champion—and we are all out of time! We will see you all next week for Dynasty, where hopefully we’ll get a clearer picture of what’s to come! You don’t want to miss it!
(The final shot shows Cy and Drake staring daggers into a departing Joso. With that, the live feed of Friday Night Dynasty ends. Cut to black.)
(EAW logo buzzes.)
