(EAW inro plays.)
(Friday Night Dynasty intro plays. After a recap of last week’s show, we come to a live view of the Canada Life Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. The fans are lit as always, cheering and showing off their signs and merch, rabid and wild as can be. Pyro goes off, and soon, the camera comes up to the iconic Dynasty commentary team.)
Stew-O: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to another LIVE edition of Friday Night Dynasty! I am Stew-O, and as always, I am joined by my colleagues Jake Mercer and Flannery McCoy.
Jake Mercer: Three more weeks until Road to Redemption, baby! I cannot wait! We’re closer to the end of the year and the half-way point of this season! Seriously, guys, where the hell did time fly to?! I remember it like it was yesterday we were at the Draft Show looking forward to the start of season eighteen!
Flannery McCoy: Haha, I’m the same way, Jake! But, there’s so much to look forward to in the near future, but right now, let’s kick things off hot as we get Dynasty started officially!
(‘When Darkness Falls’ by Killswitch Engage pours out of the arena speakers. Everyone comes to a stand, letting their vitriol be known intensely for a man who deems himself to be God. However, the usual smug air that is often felt when surrounding Drake King is nowhere present; wearing the bruises and healing cuts that have come about after last week’s emotionally-charged brawl with Minerva, the former three-time world champion does not have a semblance of a grin nor a smirk. In fact, a darker look is within his eyes as he gazes out. A sharp exhale is taken before he storms down to the ring, hands noticeably clenched into fists as he cares for nothing else at the moment.)
Stephie Love: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome at this time, EAW Hall of Famer… DRAAAAAAAAAKE KIIIIIIING!
Jake Mercer: So. Uh. Have we, like, ever seen Drake this pissed off before?
Flannery McCoy: I don’t think so. He looks deadly serious, especially after what happened between him and Minerva at Super Dynasty. It was unlike anything we have seen before from those two.
Stew-O: Certainly. The bad blood brewing between them has reached unfathomable heights at this point. It’s clear that things are far from over between them. Minerva threw down the glove, wanting to face Drake at Road to Redemption, and he seems to be ready for it, but now, we’ll hear from the man himself and where his headspace is at this moment.
(Drake is in the ring after entering it. His brows are knotted together in aggravation. The fans continue to boo relentlessly like hail against the window, but Drake simply signals for the microphone. He receives it, and once his theme fades, he speaks.)
Drake King: It would be great if all of you could shut up.
Crowd: BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
(Drake shakes his head, gritting his teeth.)
Drake King: You know what? Fine. Whatever. Boo me to your hearts’ content. However, that hasn’t stopped me from slaying your favorites who you guys prayed would beat me, and it certainly didn’t stop me from beating Minerva back at House of Glass just like I said I would.
(The fans continue with their display of disdain.)
Drake King: In fact, speaking on her for a moment, let’s talk about it. Let’s get down to the uncomfortable truth none of you, just like her, are ready to face. She has and never will be better than me. She has and never will get her supposed justified “revenge” against me. She, simply put, couldn’t hack it in the ring against me a whole month ago, so what is going to be so different now? Because she’s angry, cursing again, being all edgy and screaming at the top of her lungs? Because I “traumatized” her? Give me a break. I warned her many times that she was better off calling it quits because she was only ever going tk be humiliated by me. However, she couldn’t just accept that. She likes to point her finger and say how I don’t own up to my failures, but has her recent temper tantrums been hallmarks for accountability in their own right? Because if any of you even so much as look me in the eyes and answer with a yes, then not only are you far more delusional than her, but disingenuous as well. I get that Minerva may be the golden girl for all of you, but don’t let your bias cloud you to the poignant truth, and that is she can never be my superior. She has, quite frankly, gotten pissy because she herself had a moment of weakness and couldn’t get the job done; I merely took advantage as any Elitist in my position would’ve done, but of course, it’s not EAW if people don’t villainize me and make me out to be this disgusting piece of trash! And sure enough, Minerva joined in on the bandwagon. The act got stale pretty quickly, and a small part of me hoped that she would have woken up once she came to after laying on the mat, but no. Here we are once again, because she couldn’t handle losing.
(Drake points to the black eye that he has.)
Drake King: And last week, you all bore witness to what happens when Minerva doesn’t get what she wants. She is an entitled, pathetic, thin-skinned vermin who can’t let things go. Yet, whenever I voiced my own genuine displeasure and frustrations, I was told to shut up. I wasn’t coddled and I certainly wasn’t given any grace. Yet, here you all are, slurping up this stupid, disgusting pity act of hers.
(Some of the fans cheer, obviously to throw blatant spite Drake’s way. However, he remains unleashed and completely unamused, carrying on with his speech.)
Drake King: But hey, if you want to be fooled by her again, then be my guests. You’re just setting yourselves up to be disappointed by her yet again, because if she wants to face me at Road to Redemption, then she’ll get her wish. However, the outcome is going to be the same. She’s not winning, and—
(But then, ‘Blood, Milk & Sky” by White Zombie blares out, and everyone comes unglued.)
Stew-O: OH MY! IS SHE HERE?!
(Minerva comes storming down to the ring, being tangled with a guard who she promptly shoves away. They fall down, and Minerva continues to march towards Drake King, who meets her with a piercing, deadly glare.)
Drake King: Of course. Come on over and try to make all of this about you.
(Minerva shouts something, but more security guards swarm in, coming in between her and Drake.)
Jake Mercer: Shouldn’t be surprised reinforcements are here! After the nasty fight they had last week, they’re doing everything possible to keep these two separated!
(The fans boo.)
Flannery McCoy: Everyone wants to see a fight, but I don’t know if that would be a good thing! :lupe: Drake and Minerva could do some serious harm to one another.
(The guards look ready to get Minerva away from the area. However—)
Drake King: No. Keep her there.
(Drake asks for another microphone and he’s handed one. He walks over to the ropes, where he tosses it towards Minerva. She catches it, glaring at him fiercely. However, she raises the mic to her lips and speaks.)
Minerva: All this time and yet again, nothing but lies spew from your putrid mouth. However, soon enough, I am going to shut you up permanently and ensure that you won’t be getting away with crafting any more falsehoods at my expense.
Drake King: Me? Falsehoods? Where, exactly? Hm? I am telling you EXACTLY how things are! You’re the one who refuses to accept the truth!
Minerva: No, Drake. I accept everything. However, I am not going to let you get away with what you have done to me. I worked hard to bring about some kind of peace for myself and you stripped that all away from me! How do you think I could possibly move on when you have done nothing but torment me?
Drake King: And here we go again with this woe-is-me display.
Minerva: Is that what you wish to call it? Because you were mighty pathetic in your own right when you were begging for me and Myles to help you just a few months ago, but sure enough, because we lost that, you had to run around playing the blame game and couldn’t accept the fact that you had an equal hand in us failing to get the job done.
Drake King: Shut up! No, I didn’t!
(Minerva scoffs, letting out a bitter chuckle.)
Minerva: So you say. However, you have never changed, and you never will. It was foolish on my part, I will admit that much, but you know what, Drake? At least I don’t have to surround myself in a blanket full of my own lies to sleep better at night. I may not be perfect, but I am as real as it gets, and thanks to you, everyone will know for sure who the real Minerva is at Road to Redemption.
Drake King: Am I supposed to be intimidated by that?
(Minerva’s voice grows colder.)
Minerva: Yes. You should.
(There’s a chill in the air between the two. The fans lap up Minerva’s words. Drake’s jaw tightens.)
Drake King: Resorting to baseless tough talk and threats. That’s sad even for you, Minerva. I won’t ponder on it for too long, though. You’re so intent on walking into your own grave, so you know what? Let’s not waste anymore of our time here. It’s about time we raise the stakes. If I’m going to put you down myself again, then I might as well make sure that it’s in the most brutal match possible.
Minerva: Oh, yeah? And what do you purpose, Drake?
(Drake takes a moment to think before responding sharply.)
Drake King: Steel cage.
(An explosion of reactions is unleashed from the EAW fans upon that match type being thrown out there. Minerva looks right at Drake, but she’s able to respond with a simple…)
Minerva: Very well. I will kill you within that cage myself and leave your corpse there to dry.
(Drake shakes his head.)
Drake King: Do try to make good on your promise this time, Minerva. Would be a shame if you weren’t able to pull the trigger again.
(The camera zooms in on Minerva.)
Minerva: Don’t worry. I intend on doing just that.
(With the guards between them, neither Minerva nor Drake could get to one another. However, a mutual and dangerous understanding was met with the two. Hell on Earth was about to be unleashed, and the fans revel in it as Dynasty fades to the first set of commercials for the evening.)
(A commercial plays for Metaphor: Refantazio, now a Game of the Year candidate.)
(Dynasty comes back from a commercial break with Jay Starr in the middle of the ring, warming up for his upcoming match.)
Stephie Love: THE FOLLOWING MATCH IS SCHEDULED FOR ONE FALL!!!!!
Crowd: ONE FALL!!!!!
Stephie Love: INTRODUCING FIRST…FROM LAS VEGAS, NEVADA…WEIGHING IN AT 218 POUNDS… HE IS ‘THE SUPER-STARR’…JAY STAR!!!!!!
Jake Mercer: Jay Starr looking to get back on track with a victory against a man who will participate in this year’s Extreme Enigma Memorial Battle Royale. I think that after last week, there’s some motivation on making sure that his year ends in the strongest way possible.
Stew-O: Jay Starr looked to be inspired after everything that occurred on Super Dynasty. Now, can he use that inspiration to gain him some momentum leading up to Road to Redemption?
Flannery McCoy: This might be tough for Jay Starr to do. Especially, with who he is going up against.
(‘Betty [Get Money]’ by Yung Gravy begins to play through the speakers as the crowd boos as Clayton Golde, who is coming out, looks at the crowd, almost with disgust as he makes his way down the crowd.)
Stephie Love: INTRODUCING HIS OPPONENT…FROM AN UNDISCLOSED LOCATION IN ROMANIA…WEIGHING IN AT 210 POUNDS…HE IS ‘THE GOLDEN GOD’…CLAYTON GOLDE!!!!!!!
Jake Mercer: ‘The Only Alpha Male’ is looking to add another win to his record book! If there is a man who could go all the way in the Extreme Enigma Memorial Battle Royale, it’s Clayton Golde, ladies and gentlemen! He has all the confidence in the world to get the job done!
Stew-O: One of the participants from the Dynasty brand that we will have to be on a look out for. If I had to bet, it’s either him or Nejari Young, honestly.
Flannery McCoy: Can you imagine how insufferable he will be if he wins the Extreme Enigma Memorial Battle Royale? His ego would go straight through the roof. That’s something that I’m not prepared for whatsoever!
(DING! DING! DING!)
Jake Mercer: Clayton Golde is the first Elitist to throw a punch! Jay Starr retaliates by throwing a punch to Clayton in return! Clayton throws another one! Jay throws another one! Clayton denies to turn his approach around by connecting with a kick to the chin as that knocks Jay to his knee! Then, Clayton pulls Jay by the arm and whips him to the ropes behind him! But, Jay counters the whip and sends Clayton to the ropes!
Stew-O: BUT, CLAYTON GOLDE MANAGES TO JUMP ON THE SECOND ROPE BEFORE SPRING BOARDING HIMSELF OFF — ‘THE BRAND DEAL!’ THE SPRINGBOARD STUNNER TAKES JAY STARR DOWN! I DON’T THINK THAT HE WAS EXPECTING CLAYTON TO COUNTER WITH THAT! NOW, IT SEEMS LIKE CLAYTON IS LOOKING TO MAKE THIS MATCH AS SHORT AS POSSIBLE AS HE PICKS UP JAY FOR THE INVERTED STUNNER ‘C’EST LA VIE!’ BUT, JAY MANAGES TO PUSH CLAYTON FORWARD AND OUT OF POSITION FOR THE MOVE! Jay looks to connect with a superkick, but Clayton manages to catch the foot of Jay! Clayton connects with a dragon screw leg whip as he takes down Jay!
Flannery McCoy: Clayton Golde is standing around, looking like he’s hot stuff around these parts! He seems more than confident that he has this match in the bag! He connects with a standing leg drop on Jay! And then, he connects with a second standing leg drop! And a third! And a fourth! And a fifth! Each one of them is harsher than the other one! Clayton likes to call those five consecutive standing leg drops ‘The Golde Rush’ as he has Jay there for the first pin fall attempt of the match!
OOOOONNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEE!!!!!
TTTTTWW—
Jake Mercer: Jay Starr with a kick out! He is still in this match! We’re all aware that Jay Starr has had the toughest adjustment period on the Dynasty brand! It seems like he cannot catch a break! He is someone who would love nothing more than to pick up the victory! I think it’s something that is quite possible here, honestly! I mean, we saw what happened with Nejari Young about a month ago! He debuted against Clayton Golde and was able to sneak away with the victory? What’s not to say that a similar situation will happen with Jay?
Stew-O: It has been a tough period of adjustment for Jay Starr. But, that’s what he should have expected with the competition on the Dynasty brand! Clayton Golde picks up Jay in a side headlock! He drops to a knee as he continues to wrench in that side headlock, applying more pressure onto the hold! But, Jay manages to slide out of the headlock! He connects with a superkick as that takes Clayton back! Then, he goes forward and connects with a blockbuster! He calls that ‘Over the Moon’ on Clayton! Jay goes for the quick cover! Is this going to be enough to get the victory here??!
OOOOOOONNNNNNNEEEEEEEE!!!!!
TTTT—
Flannery McCoy: Not quite, Stew! Clayton Golde, unfortunately, is still alive in this match up! Jay Starr manages to get himself to his feet as he grabs Clayton by the nape of his neck! He throws him face first to the turnbuckle at the corner! Jay begins to slam the face of Clayton a couple of times! Clayton is feeling the need to check on his face as he goes back! Jay manages to catch him and then back with a sleeper suplex! Clayton lands back on those ‘perfectly chiseled abs’ or whatever he likes to refer to them as! He is clutching onto his ribs as Jay looks to take him back with a shining wizard, ‘Shining Star!’
Jake Mercer: BUT, CLAYTON GOLDE MANAGES TO GET HIMSELF OUT OF THE WAY! HE MANAGES TO ROLL UP JAY STAR! IS CLAYTON GOING TO ESCAPE WITH THE VICTORY HERE?!?!
OOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEE!!!!!
TTTTTTWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!
Stew-O: Jay Starr rolls out of the roll up attempt! He rolls up to his feet as Clayton Golde tries to get himself to his feet! Jay looks to go for a penalty kick to the face of Clayton! But, Clayton ends up catching the foot! Jay seems to have a bit of regret on his face! Clayton manages to release the foot, but he manages to hook the hand arm of Jay as he hip tosses him to the turnbuckle! ‘The 304’ is what Clayton likes to call that move! But, as you can see, Jay is hanging upside down! Clayton has a mischievous look on his face as he makes sure that Jay has no way of getting himself out of this situation! Jay finds himself in a tree-of-woe position as Clayton goes back —
Flannery McCoy: CLAYTON GOLDE RUNS AT JAY STARR AND NAILS HIM IN THE FACE WITH A DROPKICK! STILL, YOU CAN SEE THAT JAY STARR HAS NOT FALLEN FROM THE POSITION THAT HE’S AT! CLAYTON BEGINS TO STOMP ON THE FACE OF JAY! CLAYTON IS SHOWING A BIT OF THAT MEAN STREAK AS HE CONTINUES TO STOMP ON THE FACE OF THE NEWCOMER! I THINK THAT THE REFEREE MAY NEED TO STEP IN AND STOP THIS SITUATION FROM ESCALATING!
Referee: (off-mic) ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR! FIVE! STEP AWAY, CLAYTON!
Jake Mercer: Clayton Golde has no arguments when it comes to that! The referee helps get Jay Starr out of this situation! Clayton doesn’t seem to be too thrilled about that, but he’s not opposed to it! The referee checks on Jay! Jay still seems to be moving a bit more! Clayton manages to get Jay and connect with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker on Jay! Still, it seems like Clayton is not done here! He gets Jay and connects with an olympic slam as that takes Jay back!
Stew-O: HE MANAGES TO GRAB JAY STARR IN AN ‘INVERTED’ POSITION BEFORE CONNECTING WITH ‘C’EST LA VIE!’ THE MOVE CONNECTS AS CLAYTON GOES FOR THE COVER!
OOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!
TTTTTTWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!
TTTTTHHHHHHHRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!
(DING! DING! DING!)
(‘Betty [Get Money]’ plays once more as Clayton Golde demands for the referee to help him up to his feet and raise his hand. He is more than thrilled about what he believes to be an obvious outcome.)
Stephie Love: THE WINNER OF THIS MATCH…CLAYTON GOLDE!!!!!
Flannery McCoy: A rather unfortunate result! I know that Jay Starr wanted to go into this match and turn his luck around! I’m not saying that him winning would have been any better, but anything is better than listening to Clayton get all egotistical around here!
Jake Mercer: ‘The Only Alpha Male’ pulled this off because he knows what’s up, Flann! Clayton Golde will use any opportunity as exposure! The more he wins, the more powerful he becomes!
Stew-O: Jay Starr continues his losing streak on Dynasty! What is he going to need to do to get himself out of this? But, congrats to Clayton Golde!
(As Dynasty came back on the air, a vignette would play and it would show none other than: The Specialists Champion, Daniella Atlas. Daniella held her title in the view of the camera, as her presence and intimidation was its typical.)
Daniella Atlas: Once more I stand here reigning as the Specialists Champion. Time is honestly going quicker than I realized..I am not so new to this title anymore, and vice versa. I have been around the block a few times, and I have had the chance to soak it all in. It really has been an interesting time, point blank. But that is not what I am here to talk about, I wanna take a look at last week first and foremost. I wanna start and say that last week was barely even a challenge for me. Usually I am always wailing in anticipation, expecting some sort of tough challenge; but that just was not what Mia Santoro wanted to give me. I have learned a few things in EAW. You are always gonna suffer a brutal loss that shapes you into the woman you want to be. You are always gonna meet people that try and walk all over you. And Mia Santoro is always going to get her title match payday. No matter win or lose, that cherie has to be absolutely stacked to the brim with how many big matches she has lost at this point. But you know what, no one should have been surprised. That match was always going to be mine from the very start. And there should have never been any expectation otherwise, because well simply put; there was never a shot in the world that Mia Santoro had at grazing me.
(A replay displaying the dominance of Daniella in that match played. Showing her closing moments that really brought her to victory. As it cued back to her with a smirk.)
Daniella Atlas: No one should really be shocked that I won, Mia got a little too overzealous. She wanted all the gold and glory and was desperate for an added 15 minutes of fame. She got exactly what she wanted, and hopefully she can at least be happy with the additional television time. Because I promise to you; Mia Santoro is never going to be a champion! And at the very least; not whilst I have this Specialists Championship. But you know what, Mia Santoro is in the past now. I have dealt with her enough this season, I wanna move over to something else. My next challenger; Nikki Kimura.
(Daniella took a deep breath, as she thought to herself for a moment.)
Daniella Atlas: I find it very, very, very endearing cherie, that she has this new guy following her everywhere she goes. It really is helping her to be a better and more top of the pack competitor, isn’t it?? Yeah. Absolutely…
(All that sarcasm in the voice of Daniella told itself. She chuckled at her own words, as she just shook her head.)
Daniella Atlas: But honestly the truth being told I do not think that she has a single ounce of what it takes to defeat me. It is even a laughable excuse in a way that Nikki Kimura can even look up at me to say that. I really allow some people to test my patience, but for someone like Nikki? I just want to go ahead and throw all of that out the window. This is my first ever title run in RAW history. But at the same time; I am only just beginning. Because growing pains? They simply do not exist for me. And you know what? I am even gonna go as far to employ the benefit of the doubt. Nikki Kimura has taken criticism and ran with it. Honestly, she has had doubts time and time again. But she has been able to flip the script when needed. I respect the hell out of her for that, I do! She has taken every ounce of disrespect targeted towards her, and she has turned it into means of improvement. But you know what? I hate people who go around talking about how much they have improved. If you were really that good in the first place, you would not consistently need to tell us how much better you have gotten, cherie. But okay. I’ll entertain it. And where it is due, I will go as far to give Nikki Kimura that. But you know? NIkki Kimura may be somewhat of a worthwhile challenger. Maybe she gets the benefit of watching the matches that I have already had. Maybe she can run up the hill that the others have died on just for a little bit. Before you know, I knock her back down. But let us just go ahead and state it like that! She can be a worthwhile challenger. But misfortune is always going to take control for her. She is always going to be ripped to shreds when she has her hopes to the absolute highest. She is destined to always be one thing: second place.
(The harsh words of Daniella Atlas spoke deeply. As suddenly some lowlights from the career of Nikki Kimura played. She simply just nodded her head in disagreement.)
Daniella Atlas: Second place can be different for everyone. But I see anything after first as a participation trophy. I may as well have not even bothered to enter in the first place, If I get stuck with second place.
She may be the runner up, but the gold medal always goes to the ones who are more likely to take that next step. But this is the reality; this is what Nikki Kimura is walking into at Road To Redemption. And no matter how hard that pill is to swallow…. she just has to accept the fact… She was never beating me in the first place.
(With that stated, Daniella just grinned at the camera. Confident words spoken from the Specialists Champion, as the scene faded out and cut to black.)
(Dynasty comes back on air, as immediately we are met with “Lacrimosa Epic Remix” – Samuel Kim hitting the speakers.)
Stew-O: And there he is! Vincent Mondrian! Is it safe to go ahead and say upright, Vincent committed the shock of the week, last week? How many of us were expecting a reality with Vincent standing tall as champion?
Flannery McCoy: Maybe we underestimated the skill set of Vincent just a little, but it was a plethora of things all pushed together that culminated in this win! I still find myself shocked by it!
Jake Mercer: It was a legacy win, and Vincent Mondrian has truly put his foot down on the word “Legacy”. He took that title in what might be one of the fastest times in RAW history!! Now here he stands; mighty.
(Vincent made his way to the ring with the Interwire Championship at bay. His prestige at maximum, Vincent entered the ring now. As he was confident, there was not much of shock and awe within his victory. Only belief. As his theme song died down, the Interwire Champion would make sure his title was the primary focus, before he took a microphone and spoke, as he just held the title up high.)
Vincent Mondrian: Look at this. Last week, I may have been the only one in the arena expecting this, but look where we are. I defeated Hans Grayson, I made my legacy submitted once and for all. In what was a shock to everyone; was a simple whisper in the wind for me. You know my career in EAW already has had some immense moments. Some intense highs and depressing lows, but all bundled together it has been a journey. No one expected me to be contending for championship gold ever so soon. Especially seeing as just a month ago I needed time for some reflection; I had just lost to Holly Arrow. I needed to figure out where I was gonna go next — But look at how I have bounced back. Pretty damn well, if I must say so myself, huh?
(Once again showing the Interwire Championship on the high demand that it is in, Vincent held it firmly.)
Vincent Mondrian: Now here I am, with one of the most prestigious championships in Elite Answers Wrestling, in my hands. Everything that I could ever want and have hoped for, all burrowing in my favor. I am fortunate and blessed enough to stand here and rightfully omit myself as your Interwire Champion. I have many ideas as champion, and many motivations. I know what it is that I gotta do, uplift prestige. Continue to make various notion, proceed with impact through every singular precaution. I have made preparation, and I have nothing but pure willing intent. When you see me holding this title just know..
(The expression of Vincent became even more serious, as he stands there holding the championship for the camera’s focus.)
Vincent Mondrian: I plan on going down as one of the greatest Interwire Champions ever! And that may be a tall task. I may be biting off more than ultimately what I can chew, but I am alright with the challenge. Because now you line everyone up, and I do what I did prior to becoming champion. Attempt to take every single one of them down. And so-—
(Suddenly before Vincent could say his next word, he would be interrupted.)
(“Mayoi Uta (Song Of The Lost Star) blared through the speakers as Vincent Mondrian looked towards the ramp to see none other than Jay Jerry Johnson making his way out!)
Stew-O: It is Jay Jerry Johnson! He seems prepared for confrontation, coming fresh off his return to RAW, this could be huge for him!
Flannery McCoy: And a former Interwire Champion in his own right. Triple J knows what it is like to not only contend, but be Interwire Champion.
Jake Mercer: A lot of intrigue, but I do not really see fear in the eyes of Vincent Mondrian!
(Jay Jerry Johnson entered the ring now, looking at Vincent, as he just nodded his head.)
Jay Jerry Johnson: One hell of an impressive job, Vincent. Congratulations on becoming Interwire Champion, you earned what happened last week. But I just wanna warn you, your time as champion immediately makes you a target and threat from every single person heading forwards. You are about to meet names in EAW that did not even know you existed, because of that. Your time as champion may be up sooner than you even want, or can think. Even me, I have unfinished business with that title. I wanna hold it again, and be able to do more than I did last time.
(That was all Vincent needed to hear.)
Vincent Mondrian: So, you are challenging me?
Jay Jerry Johnson: You want the short answer? Yes.
(The crowd wailed in anticipation at the idea of this. A former Interwire Champion stepping up to the challenge the current one wrote itself.)
Vincent Mondrian: Okay, that was all I really needed to here. The match is set then, but I just wanna tell yourself. Before you go ahead and say that my time as champion will be up before I can even realize it; just know that you are seriously setting yourself up for disappointment. You are not gonna get this title, and if anything it would have been smarter if you waited a little while longer.
Jay Jerry Johnson: That is funny. But I know that I can beat you, I already have held that title once. I have no problem in hoisting it above my head again. I know that I can beat you, Vincent. And even more than that when the match comes — I will beat you.
Vincent Mondrian: I don’t believe you can. But I’ll entertain the idea. Lets see.
(With that statement, Vincent trotted quickly past Jay. Jay Jerry Johnson just watched nodding his head in disagreement.)
Stew-O: Well, there is the challenge put out by Triple J to Vincent Mondrian!
Flannery McCoy: A former Interwire Champion looking to try and get back into the swing of things, and be champion again!
Jake Mercer: We will see how this works out for him in due time..
(Vincent Mondrian stood at the ramp, looking at Jay, as the scene closed out and went elsewhere.)
(A commercial plays for Rayban.)
Stephie Love: Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for ONE FALL!
Crowd: ONE FALL!
(‘Sinister Purpose’ by Creedence Clearwater Revival begins playing as Kirk Redwood storms out, ready to go. He slaps himself a couple of times, amping himself up; while Amanda follows him out from the back and accompanies him down to the ring.)
Stephie Love: Introducing first, accompanied by Amanda Miller, from Boston, Massachusetts, weighing in at 210 pounds… he is “UNKILLABLE” KIRK! REDWOOD!
Stew-O: Kirk Redwood had a fantastic showing against Jay Jerry Johnson last week at Super Dynasty, but unfortunately it wasn’t enough for him to get the win.
Jake Mercer: There’s no shame in that loss, though. It was Jay’s return, meaning he had to work even harder for the victory. Kirk gave him a great challenge, but he certainly shouldn’t be discredited.
(‘Rise and Fall’ by Starset hits the PA speakers and Corey Hale charges out from the back with a smile on his face. He tags as many fans as he can, storming down the ramp towards ringside. He leaps up the steps, looking around the arena. Corey takes the ropes and slingshots in, rolling to a knee and posing in the center.)
Stephie Love: His opponent, from Phoenix, Arizona, weighing in at 200 pounds… he is “THE CELESTIAL WANDERER” COREY! HALE!
Flannery McCoy: For a first time championship match, Corey Hale really fought his heart out against BRAE for the New Breed Championship, but it wasn’t enough.
Stew-O: That doesn’t hold back Hale in anyway, though! The future is bright for him and he continues to prove weekly why he can become a staple of Dynasty. I’m just interested in what comes next.
(The lights strobe black and white as ‘Let Me Hear’ by Fear, and Loathing in Las Vegas begins playing and the mysterious Saori Aizen emerges from the back with a relaxed look on her face. Saori hops up the apron and climbs the top rope, looking around. She drops off the top, backing away.)
Stephie Love: Lastly, from Tokyo, Japan, weighing in at 120 pounds… she is the “DEMON CHILD” SAORI! AIZEN!
Jake Mercer: Saori was just one second away from qualifying for the Extreme Elimination Chamber match for the Universal Women’s Championship! That’s a loss that has to sting her, especially against someone of Holly Arrow’s caliber, it was a guaranteed big win.
Flannery McCoy: It comes with the game! Saori still has a lot to show for herself. She won the Divide And Conquer match and gave Daniella Atlas a run for her money. A loss in a big match situation doesn’t diminish the bright future she has.
(DING DING DING!)
Stew-O: All three circle around the ring, trying to get a good feel for each other. Kirk eyes Corey and Saori, looking at the new upstarts on Dynasty and he doesn’t necessarily like what he sees. Kirk shakes his head, charging in as he starts throwing forearm bombs at both! All they can do is try and cover up because he is absolutely going off on both!
Jake Mercer: Corey tries to pull Kirk off, but he elbows him back! Corey falls onto his ass, holding his jaw. Saori charges in and Kirk scoops her up onto his shoulder. She grabs at the ropes, trying to yank them back down! Kirk pulls backwards and– Saori uses the momentum to drop into an inverted facelock! Corey is up and rises to his feet, dropkicking Saori which forces her to hit Kirk with an inverted DDT!
Stew-O: Ridiculous creativity from Corey there! He kips up and Saori rises, holding her chest. He slams her into the turnbuckles with a corner shoulder thrust. Corey starts throwing bombs, overwhelming her. Saori shoves him back and throws a palm strike, but he dodges it and kips up to his feet! She turns around and Corey throws a beautiful enzuigiri!
Flannery McCoy: This is looking like Corey’s match to win right now! Saori rolls to the apron, trying to recover. Corey turns and goes to hit off the ropes, but KIRK SCOOPS HIM UP WITH A BACKBREAKER! He holds on, elevating him up in the air! He catches Corey and tosses him with an exploder suplex! Beautifully done! And now he rises up to his feet-
Jake Mercer: HERE COMES SAORI AIZEN, SOARING THROUGH THE SKIES LIKE A MISSILE AS SHE FLIES DOWN WITH A SPRINGBOARD DROPKICK! Kirk gets sent flying halfway across the ring! She rises, throwing repeated punches as he tries to rise! Kirk wraps his arms around Saori’s head and tries to run her into the turnbuckles across the ring, but she pivots in mid-air and spins into a Tornado DDT! Kirk gets spiked and he rolls out of the ring entirely!
Flannery McCoy: Saori is up to her feet! She steps out of the ring to the apron and climbs the top rope, her back facing Kirk… SHE WANTS THAT MOONSAULT – WAIT A MINUTE! COREY HALE RUNS UP THE TOP ROPE! FREAKISH AGILITY! HE TAKES HER BY THE HEAD! SUPERPLEX! AND COREY ROLLS THROUGH, DEADLIFTING SAORI UP INTO A TWISTING BRAINBUSTER! THE CROWD ERUPTS! WHAT A COMBINATION! And now he makes the pin!
OOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!
TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
Stew-O: And Kirk Redwood pulls Corey out of the ring! He elbows him away! But Corey starts throwing punches! Both men are brawling outside the ring! Corey swings a kick but Kirk catches the leg! He tries to flip him onto his feet– but Corey hobbles on one leg and leaps up to the apron instead! SUPERKICK TO KIRK! He goes down! Corey turns and climbs up the top rope, looking at Saori laid out! FROG SPLASH!!!–
Jake Mercer: KIRK SLIDES IN JUST IN TIME, CATCHING COREY IN THE AIR BEFORE HE CAN HIT SAORI! SAITO SUPLEX! AND HE LANDS RIGHT ONTO SAORI’S RIBS! Saori rolls away, gasping out in pain, and Corey clutches at the top of his head! Kirk pulls Corey up right after, lifting him up again! FOR A FOLDING POWERBOMB! HE PINS THE SHOULDERS DOWN!
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!
TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
Flannery McCoy: Saori with a DOUBLE FOOT STOMP TO THE BACK OF KIRK! Kirk rolls off of the pin, holding his back in agony! Saori is pissed! She’s still clutching at her ribs, taking a moment to get up. Kirk rises up in the turnbuckles, and Saori charges in, but Kirk moves and throws her into the turnbuckles! She swings out to the middle rope though, her body dangling as she rotates into a pendulum kick! That sends Kirk away!
Stew-O: She now makes her way up to the top rope… CROSSBODY FROM THE TOP! Down Kirk goes! And Corey is trying to rise up, but Saori clotheslines him over the top! Saori turns back to Kirk and pulls him up to his feet! She twirls under the arm, snapping down into a FUJIWARA ARMBAR! Saori pulls back on the arm and Kirk grits his teeth in pain!
Jake Mercer: Saori is trying really hard to tap Kirk out, but he won’t go for it! He reaches for the ropes, yelling out in agony! Saori continues to pull on the arm, but Kirk plants a knee on the mat! He slowly begins to rise with Saori, who is doing all she can to get him back down! Kirk frontrolls forward, tripping Saori onto her back! He frees his arm and dives for her arm, working on a KIMURA LOCK!
Stew-O: This has completely taken her off guard! He plants his leg over the back of his head, wrenching on her arm! Saori grits her teeth, yelling out in pain! She’s trying to keep him from really elevating her arm up! But Kirk has it! THE KIMURA IS LOCKED IN NOW! Saori claws at the mt, trying to push herself up! But wait a minute–
Jake Mercer: COREY HALE ON THE APRON! HE SLINGSHOTS, HIS BODY SPINNING IN MOTION FOR A CUTTER TO KIRK REDWOOD! KIRK GETS PLANTED INTO THE CANVAS! He rolls Kirk away and drags up Saori, who he just saved! INVERTED FACELOCK, AND HE SPINS INTO ‘AS ABOVE, SO BELOW!’ THE ELBOW PLANTED IN THE CHEST OF AIZEN! HE CRAWLS OVER, HOOKING THE LEGS!
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!
TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
THHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE–
Flannery McCoy: SAORI KICKS OUT! That was a close call! But Corey isn’t done! He climbs the middle rope, seeing that Kirk is still hurt! He nods his head, and DIVES OFF THE MIDDLE ROPE WITH A PHOENIX SPLASH! PLANTED RIGHT ONTO THE RIBS OF KIRK REDWOOD! HE TAKES THE LEGS AND BRIDGES BACKWARDS FOR THE COVER!
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!
TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
THHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE–
Jake Mercer: KICK OUT FROM REDWOOD! No one wants to stay down! This is absolutely a high stakes match for a reason! Someone needs to walk out the winner, but who will it be?! Corey reaches back down for Saori, pulling her up. He meets her with a forearm, then a kick to the calf. Corey winds back a boot to the jaw, but she catches his leg! DRAGONSCREW LEGWHIP!
Stew-O: Corey yelps out in pain, and Saori rolls him over. She places her boots on the back of his knees and jumps, slamming his knees into the canvas! Saori then takes the arms, calling for the surfboard stretch! BUT BEHIND HER! KIRK REDWOOD GRABS THE WAIST! GERMAN SUPLEX! NO! SAORI LANDS ONTO HER FEET!
Jake Mercer: HE DOESN’T KNOW THAT! Kirk now grabs Corey from the ground, deadlifting him up by the waist! Corey reaches out, as Kirk tries for a second german suplex! But Corey elbows him! He throws another elbow, and keeps going until Kirk has no choice but to let go! And then, SAORI LEAPS ONTO KIRK’S SHOULDERS! POISON RANA! IT BOUNCES KIRK TO THE BACK OF HIS HEAD! BUT HE’S BACK UP TO HIS FEET AND HE’S PISSED! HOLDING HIS NECK WITH ONE HAND, THE OTHER HE’S PUMPING HIS FIST!
Flannery McCoy: LLARRRIIIATTTTTT! SAORI DUCKS, AND KIRK WIPES COREY HALE OUT INSTEAD! Kirk turns back and tries to swing another for Saori– BUT SHE HAS IT SCOUTED OUT! ‘THUNDERCLAP NOVA!’ THE ELBOW SMASH LANDS FLUSH ON THE JAW, AND KIRK GOES DOWN, HIS MOMENTUM USED AGAINST HIM! SAORI DROPS DOWN, PINNING HIM!
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!
TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
THHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE–
Stew-O: KIRK FINDS A WAY TO KICK OUT! He rolls over, holding his jaw in agony. Kirk Redwood certainly has zero idea where he’s at right now. Saori pulls him up by the hair, and rocks him with a palm strike! Meanwhile–
Jake Mercer: Corey Hale is staggering back up and he turns Saori around! He swings a roundhouse but she ducks, and Kirk catches his leg! But this allows Saori to superkick his knees out! Corey lands back onto his feet! DOUBLE SUPERKICK TO KIRK! He goes down!
Flannery McCoy: WAIT! Corey grabs Saori by the head and he tries to throw her out of the ring! But Saori counters it, sending him to the outside! Corey staggers to the floor! Saori tries to pull Kirk up, but he dumps her out the ring on the other side! He holds his jaw, how is he back up?! Kirk bounces off the ropes at high speed!
Jake Mercer: COREY’S GONNA HAVE TO LOOK OUT! HERE COMES KIRK REDWOOD! ‘STAR SNIPER!!!’ THE SUICIDE DIVE EUROPEAN UPPERCUT PUTS COREY OUT COLD ON THE FLOOR! KIRK HITS THE GROUND HARD AS WELL! HE HOLDS AT HIS NECK! HE ROLLS BACK IN, SEEING SAORI OUT ON THE GROUND! HE WANTS ANOTHER–
Stew-O: SAORI SLIDES IN! CHEST KICK! And then a CALF KICK! CHEST KICK! AND THEN A CALF KICK! CHEST KICK! Kirk falls to a kneel, wincing out in pain– ROUNDHOUSE KICK TO THE HEAD! ‘SIX HOLY BULLETS’ CONNECT! Kirk may be knocked out cold! Saori drops to a knee, rolling him over! She makes her way to the top rope, looking around! Saori nods her head!
Flannery McCoy: She perches herself at the top rope, taking her time. SHE DIVES OFF THE TOP! ‘HORIZON OF THE CAPTIVATING SKAANNNDDHHHAAAAA!!!!’
Jake Mercer: NO! KIRK PUTS HIS KNEES UP! AT THE LAST SECOND! SAORI’S BODY CRASHES INTO HIS KNEES! SHE ROLLS AWAY, HOLDING HER RIBS IN AGONY! Kirk wobbles up to her, tucking the arm and head into a double underhook!
Stew-O: HE LIFTS HER UP! ‘BRAINDEAD BUSTER!’ THE BUTTERFLY BRAINBUSTER CONNECTS! SAORI ISN’T MOVING! KIRK ROLLS HER OVER AND MAKES THE COVER!
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!
TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
THHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE–
Jake Mercer: COREY HALE COMES OUT OF NOWHERE, BREAKING THE PIN! THAT WAS CLOSE! Kirk rolls away, in disbelief that he ruined it! He tries to get up, but staggers away, pissed! Corey stumbles up and Kirk swings for him! Corey ducks it! He hooks the waist from behind and SPINS INTO A BLUE THUNDER BOMB! ANOTHER COVER!
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!
TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
THHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE–
Stew-O: SAORI COMES OUT OF NOWHERE!? METEORA TO COREY! SHE DRAGS HIM DOWN INTO A PIN OF HER OWN! HOW IS SHE BACK UP–
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!
TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
THHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE–
Flannery McCoy: BUT KIRK CLOBBERS SAORI FROM BEHIND! All three are giving it their absolute all to win this match, fighting through the pain! He drags Saori up, slowly pulling her to the center of the ring…
Jake Mercer: He scoops her up, slamming her with a powerslam in the center of the ring– no! Saori slips free! She shoves him to the ropes and he falls through to the apron! Corey rises, grabbing Saori by the waist! She’s trying to get free! Meanwhile, Kirk is recovering against the ropes…
Stew-O: Saori begins elbowing Corey! AND KIRK TAKES THE ROPES! HE SOMERSAULTS INTO THE RING AND LEAPS INTO THE PAROLE VIOLATION– NO! SAORI MOVES AND COREY GETS WIPED OUT WITH THE SPEAR! HE WAS AIMING FOR BOTH! HE TURNS BACK AROUND, AND SHE CAPTURES THE WRIST!
Flannery McCoy: ‘MIRROR FLOWER, WATER MOON!’ THE KNEE CONNECTS TO THE JAW! KIRK IS OUT! SHE PULLS COREY INTO THE DROPZONE AND CLIMBS THE TOP ROPE, LOOKING AROUND! WASTING NO TIME! ‘HORIZON OFFF THE CAPPTTIIVATTTIINNG SKAANNDDDHHHAAAAA!!!!’ SHE HOOKS THE LEGS!
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!
TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
THHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
(DING DING DING!)
Stephie Love: Here is your winner of this match, SAORI AIZEN!
(Saori rolls off of Corey, breathing heavily. Kirk starts to come to life in the corner, realizing he was this close to winning the match. The referee helps Saori up and raises her arm. Saori nods, approaching the middle rope as she celebrates the victory.)
Stew-O: What a win for Saori Aizen! All three competitors in this match fired off at all cylinders, looking for that win, but it was all about timing and placement and she averted disaster at the end right there!
Jake Mercer: More often than not, Kirk Redwood would’ve won the match with his opponents lined up like that. But Saori barely got to move out of the way and it caught him off guard!
Flannery McCoy: For an Elitist still new to this company, I’ve gotta say it is ridiculous how good Aizen is! She continues to impress here on Dynasty!
(Saori celebrates before Dynasty fades backstage.)
(Dynasty’s designated backstage correspondent Michael Belfort is seen standing by in an interview area in front of an EAW backdrop. He has a smile on his face and a microphone in his hand as after some time he begins to speak.)
Michael Belfort: What a triple threat that we just witnessed between Saori Aizen, Corey Hale, and Kirk Redwood! It’s safe to say that Friday Night Dynasty this week is in full swing as we are en route to the Road To Redemption Marquee Event. We have a lot in store for you later tonight including our main event with Drake King facing Myles, but right now I want to focus on a match taking place when we touch ground in Edmonton, more specifically the Universal Women’s Championship Extreme Elimination Chamber. While the field has been quickly developing for both Showdown and Voltage, with Champion Milli Banks certainly getting a good look of who she’s going to be up against, Dynasty on the other hand seems to be making the necessary preparations as well. Last week on Super Dynasty we saw who would be the person entering the Chamber for our brand, and she just so happens to be my guest joining us tonight. Please welcome at this time… Holly Arrow!
(The crowd inside the arena cheers loudly as the camera goes over to show Holly Arrow as she makes her way into the scene. She’s in good spirits as she greets Michael with a nod. After some time, Michael continues to speak.)
Michael Belfort: Holly, thank you for joining us.
Holly Arrow: Of course.
Michael Belfort: First I just wanted to ask how you’re feeling. I know that this is a huge opportunity for you and you’ve worked quite hard to get to this point. Being in a match like the Extreme Elimination Chamber must mean a lot for you.
Holly Arrow: I mean, of course it does. Let me start off by giving credit where credit is due to Saori Aizen, she put up a good fight, but in the end when it came down to it, I think we both knew who was actually fighting for something in this situation. Between the two of us, I was the one with the chip on my shoulder and I showed just that when we stepped into the ring. Now I have the opportunity to have my first singles Championship in this company, and if you want me to be completely honest, it’s been a long time coming. It’s been a long and strenuous road in order to get here, and many in my position would’ve quit. But despite that I got back up and I kept pushing, because I knew that the only time it would be over is when I gave up. I knew that I was fighting for a lot, not just for the mere idea of redemption, but for closure, and now with this win under my belt I feel like Road To Redemption gets me one step closer to that.
Michael Belfort: Well, as we already know, this isn’t going to be the first time you participate in a match of this magnitude. Three years prior to that you were also in the Universal Women’s Championship Extreme Elimination Chamber. How do you feel things have changed since then?
Holly Arrow: Drastically, Michael. That may have started my journey to get there, but this year I’m keen on finishing it. I didn’t contend for this match just to repeat history or settle, it may seem like I’m shooting really high for someone who doesn’t seem to measure up to everyone in the match, but that’s my promise. I don’t care what it’s going to take, I don’t care who I’m going to have to beat to get there, beating Saori was the first part of my plan, and I promise, the next part will be me ending the year as the new Universal Women’s Champion. I have had a lot of goals in this company since arriving, and while most of them have differed, one thing that doesn’t change is my mission of making sure that I am at the top of my game, that I become the very best that this company has to offer. That doesn’t happen if I continue to face roadblock after roadblock standing in my way. Make no mistake about it, it’s been a hard road, but trust me when I say, it’s not going to happen again.
Michael Belfort: :wow: Well let’s talk about the competition that you’re going to be up against. Of course we have the Universal Women’s Champion Milli Banks along with Miku Sakai on the Showdown brand. Then we have Ms. Extreme, Bea Valentine, and KASAI participating for Voltage. Including you, that makes the entire field set. Do you have any thoughts?
Holly Arrow: I’m not going to deny any of them of their spots in this Chamber, but the one thing that I think I have over them is the fact that I earned my place. I had to fight against someone while all of them were happily written in by their respective higher power. I am more poised than ever knowing just how much it took out of me to get here, and while we have former Champions and future and current Hall of Famers in the match, that doesn’t make much of a difference to me. Regardless, I know that the odds are stacked against me just as they always have, and I’m going to be fighting hard to make sure that I fight against those one way or another.
Michael Belfort: Do you have any final words?
Holly Arrow: I know I’m not going to be the most favorable walking into this match. People aren’t going to look at me and expect me to win the entire thing, that’s fine. But I promise once this match is said and done, you will remember my name.
(Holly then turns around and makes her way out of the scene before the camera completely focuses back on Michael.)
Michael Belfort: Back to you guys.
(The camera begins to pan out as it’s the last shot seen before Friday Night Dynasty then begins to fade to elsewhere.)
Stephie Love: Ladies and gentlemen, the following match is scheduled for ONE FALL!
Crowd: ONE FALL!
(‘Notorious’ by UPSAHL began playing to a mixed reaction as Mia Santoro strutted her way onto the stage. She basked in the reaction before sauntering down the ramp with her eyes locked on the ring; she stepped into the ring between the ropes and made her way to her corner.)
Stephie Love: INTRODUCING FIRST! Hailing from Key West, Florida, weighing in at 115 pounds… SHE IS ‘LA DESPERADA’… MIIIIIIIIIIAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! SAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANTOOOOOOOOOOOOOOROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Stew-O: Here comes Mia Santoro, who had a great performance against the Specialist’s Champion in her title match at Super Dynasty! Despite coming up short, Mia showed the world that she is a threat and a championship contender beyond a shadow of a doubt!
Flannery McCoy: Of course, with Mia, her abilities sometimes get overlooked due to her attitude, but as time goes on, it’s getting harder and harder to deny what she brings to the table!
Jake Mercer: Tonight, she’ll be going up against a competitor in the Extreme Enigma battle royale as she looks to bounce back from the Super Dynasty loss. What better way to do that than to show the world how she stacks up against someone who may win it big at Road to Redemption?
(‘Carnival’ by Ty Dolla $ign, Ye, and ¥$ began blaring through the speakers to cheers as Nejari Young came out onto the stage with a pep in his step; he nodded to the cheers of the audience before adopting a serious expression as he stormed down the ramp to the ring.)
Stephie Love: AND HER OPPONENT! Hailing from Shreveport, Louisiana, weighing in at 228 pounds… HE IS THE ‘WALKING MAIN EVENT’… NEJAAAARIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII! YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUNG!
Stew-O: The aforementioned Extreme Enigma battle royale contestant himself in the flesh! One of EAW’s newest stars, Nejari has been trying to pick up momentum as he looks to rise up the ranks in the company and become one of the premier New Breeds!
Flannery McCoy: He was able to pick up a win over Jay Starr for his most recent match, which is definitely a good start. With the opportunity presented by Dynasty’s administration for Road to Redemption, Nejari will be getting an even better chance to make a name for himself!
Jake Mercer: Considering that Mia has been contending for championships like the New Breed and Specialist’s championships, a win over her would prove to the world that the Walking Main Event is ready to fight for titles himself!
Stew-O: With both elitists walking into this match with something to prove, you know they’ll be going all out. It’s time to see who walks out on top!
(Ding! Ding! Ding!)
Stew-O: And the match is underway! Mia Santoro and Nejari Young both step out of their respective corners with a competitive glint in their eyes as they begin circling the ring! Both wrestlers have their arms up as they look to see-
Flannery McCoy: Woah there, we’re seeing some swift aggression from La Desperada as she immediately lurches forward and grabs hold of the arm of the Walking Main Event before hurling him down to the canvas with a sudden arm drag!
Jake Mercer: She’s already shown she’s looking to bounce back from the loss at Super Dynasty and we’re seeing that motivation here tonight! Nejari Young is able to get up just as quickly, but he ends up getting hit by another arm drag, sending him back down to the canvas yet again!
Stew-O: Nejari Young gets up, a bit slower this time after having been rocked twice in a row, and Mia Santoro follows up with a hard-hitting SUPERKICK to send the Walking Main Event stumbling backwards into the corner! He’s got his back to the turnbuckles, and La Desperada’s fiery assault continues as Mia rushes up to him!
Flannery McCoy: A flurry of knife-edge chops to the chest of Nejari Young begin lighting up his chest, and Mia is showing no signs of wanting to stop the attack! She steps back for a moment, only to jump up and land a heavy blow to the side of Nejari Young’s head with a step-up enziguiri! That seems to have knocked Nejari into a daze!
Jake Mercer: Mia Santoro is really showing out tonight! She grabs a hold of Nejari’s wrist and Irish whips him across the ring towards the other corner– but Nejari is able to reverse the Irish whip and send Mia Santoro to that corner instead!
Stew-O: After taking a ton of offense, Nejari finally managed to find an opening! He’s looking worse for wear, but nevertheless he rushes over to Mia Santoro, who landed against the corner on the opposite side of the ring!
Flannery McCoy: Stinger splash by Nejari Young! He leapt up and crashed into her with his full body weight! And now he’s returning the favor with some strikes of his own, throwing lefts and rights; he shows off to the crowd for a moment after that last left hook before– BOOM! A flashy uppercut by the Walking Main Event!
Jake Mercer: Nejari drags her out of the corner and Irish whips her to the ropes! La Desperada runs over and rebounds off of them before running towards Nejari with increased velocity!
Stew-O: The Walking Main Event was ready for her as he catches her with a fireman’s carry hold! He’s going for the Samoan drop– BUT MIA SANTORO REVERSES IT! She forcefully over-rotates the move, turning it into a crucifix driver! That has GOT to hurt!
Flannery McCoy: That impact forces Nejari to flip onto his abdomen in a prone position, with Mia Santoro adopting a cocky smirk as she takes the momentum of the match back as quickly as she briefly lost it!
Jake Mercer: That smile has some malice behind it as she looks down at the fallen body of Nejari Young with violent intentions! She lifts him off the canvas with a front facelock; what’s she got planned here? She immediately PLANTS him with a spike DDT, driving the roof of his head into the canvas!
Stew-O: Mia Santoro showing absolutely no mercy here tonight! She gets up and fixes her hair with a flair! Ever the egotist, that one, but she’s showing that she can whoop an elitist and partake in self-care at the same time! Pretty impressive, I’ve got to say.
Flannery McCoy: Her eyes gaze over to the corner and she seems to get an idea! She steps out onto the apron and begins scarling the turnbuckles as she makes her way up to a perch on the top turnbuckle! From there, she measures Nejari Young up from his daze!
Jake Mercer: Slowly but surely, Nejari Young staggers up with his head clutched in his hands as he’s still feeling the brunt of the blow from that massive spike DDT; unfortunately for him, things are only about to get worse as Mia Santoro leaps off the top turnbuckle with the grace of a gazelle before hurtling towards him with the ferocity of a tiger!
Stew-O: A DIVING METEORA CONNECTS! The very head Mia Santoro targeted before had her entire body weight driven onto it with both of her knees before the Walking Main Event crashed down onto the canvas onto the back of his head!
Flannery McCoy: Mia Santoro takes a breath as she rises back up to her feet, looking down at Nejari with a look I can only describe as murderous! She reaches down and grabs the Walking Main Event by the hair before forcefully dragging him back up to his feet and tucking his head under her arm!
Jake Mercer: A front facelock is applied before she reaches down and grabs a hold of one of his legs too! Is she going for what I think she’s going for?! SHE IS! SHE TWISTS NEJARI AROUND WITH A SWING AND DROPS HIM WITH A SWINGING FISHERMAN NECKBREAKER! THAT’S ONE OF HER SIGNATURE MANEUVERS, SHE CALLS IT THE BLACKEST HOUR!
Stew-O: That tremendous move has Nejari laid out looking as though he’s been knocked out cold, but Mia Santoro is looking to make a STATEMENT here tonight! She doesn’t go for the pin, she steps OVER him and climbs up to the top of the turnbuckles once again!
Flannery McCoy: This time, she doesn’t wait for Nejari to get up or anything! She strikes a flamboyant pose at the top before launching herself off once again–
Jake Mercer: OH MY GOD!
Stew-O: CHASE THE FEELIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIING! THE DIVING LEG DROP CONNECTS! NEJARI’S HEAD AND NECK HAVE JUST BEEN CRUSHED BY THE LEG OF MIA SANTORO CRASHING DOWN FROM THE HEAVENS ABOVE!
Flannery McCoy: SHE DOESN’T MOVE FROM THERE! SHE KEEPS HER LEG DOWN ON HIM WITH HIS SHOULDERS PINNED TO THE MAT, AND THAT PROMPTS THE REFEREE TO IMMEDIATELY SLIDE IN AND BEGIN COUNTING THE PIN! THAT HAS TO BE IT!
ONEEEEEEEEEE!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
(Ding! Ding! Ding!)
(‘Notorious’ by UPSAHL began playing once again to a loud mixed reaction as Mia Santoro effortlessly rose up from the pin and had her arms raised by the referee! She snatched her arm away, though, and stepped closer to the hard cam to have the entire frame on her, blocking out the referee and the fallen Nejari Young from the frame.)
Stew-O: A swift and decisive win for Mia Santoro here tonight! After her impressive performance at Super Dynasty, she made it clear she was looking to bounce back this week and begin her momentum anew!
Flannery McCoy: And bounce back she did, showing us her fierce side with a victory that can only be described as utterly dominant!
Jake Mercer: Mia Santoro has been putting in the work for quite a while now, and it’s only a matter of time before the tides start shifting her way, especially after showing the type of prowess that was on display tonight!
Stew-O: We’ll see what she’s got in store for Elite Answers Wrestling as we continue on the road to Road to Redemption; stay tuned to Friday Night Dynasty for more!
(The video feed lingers on Mia Santoro’s cocky celebration of her dominant victory before slowly fading to black.)
(Friday Night Dynasty returns to show the backstage area of the Canada Life Centre, as two people are seen walking side-by-side through the hallway. The camera pans up as it’s revealed to be Rex McAllister and Raven Roberts of Fire & Ice. Both of them have a look of displeasure on their face, Rex in particular doesn’t look very happy himself. As they walk, the EAW Hall of Famer gives a begrudged sigh, as he begins to speak.)
Rex McAllister: I don’t know, Raven, a part of me is okay with how that match went down. I can be satisfied knowing that this opens the door for something we can do at Road To Redemption, but how Chris won that match doesn’t sit right with me. I have a lot of respect for him, and the battles that we’ve had in the past have shaped my career up to this point, but to see him go against everything that he’s fought for since his return is disheartening. I didn’t think that he’d stoop to that kind of low at this point in his career, but I suppose that was the case. I just can’t help but wonder what would happen if none of that did happen.
Raven Roberts: Look, Rex, you know I’m proud of you regardless of the result. We both had our chance to participate in the Extreme Elimination Chamber and it just didn’t work out, that’s fine. But let’s not be hung up over what Chris did. It was disappointing I will admit, but he’s not our problem anymore, he’s got the Extreme Elimination Chamber to worry about and we have the future of Fire & Ice. I am keen on ending this year on a high note and walking into 2025 stronger than ever, and that’s something that I know we can do without a shadow of a doubt, but to do that we both need to be prepared. We can’t let what could’ve been affect what we’re doing now, that’s just not who we are. We need to keep pushing, we need to rise back up stronger than ever and make sure that all of that is put behind us, and that’s something that we’ve done multiple times in the past, we’ll be just fine.
Rex McAllister: I know we will, but I suppose that leads me to question why we were called to Kensingten and Richard’s office.
Raven Roberts: So we can walk in on one of their election celebrations again? I’m good. Let’s just hope this is something worth our time.
(Both Rex and Raven finally end up at the office of the General Managers of Friday Night Dynasty. After some reluctance, they knock on the door.)
Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: Come in!
(Rex opens the door as both members of Fire & Ice file into the office. Of course, the office still looks quite… patriotic, but one thing can’t be denied and it’s the fact that Kensingten Calhoun-Astor and Richard Grant are beaming, clearly in a great mood. Rex and Raven look quite off-put by this, but regardless they enter.)
Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: We’re glad that you could join us, please sit down.
(Rex and Raven take a seat down across from Kensingten and Richard, as both of them look at one another with positive expressions on their face.)
Rex McAllister: I’ll cut to the chase, guys. We do appreciate you inviting us over here, but if you’re looking to give any one of us an opportunity, it should be as Fire & Ice and not Rex McAllister and Raven Roberts respectively. While it was great for you to give me an Extreme Elimination Chamber qualifier, that wasn’t my focus, and while I’m sure Chris can have fun with that spot in the match now, I want to focus on us and what we’re going to do.
Raven Roberts: Just let us know upfront whether or not we should leave.
Richard Grant: Oh no! No need at all! We understand your frustrations about everything that has happened these past couple of weeks, and we promise you that we have a solution that will satisfy not only both of you but the collective team of Fire & Ice.
(Rex and Raven both look at each other, an interested expression on their face before they then turn back around to look at the two of them.)
Rex McAllister: Alright, let’s hear it.
Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: So as you two may already know, there is quite the match being built for Road To Redemption coming up. Us, Kennedy Street, and Captain Charisma have all agreed to have a huge tri-branded tag team match. This will be for pride and bragging rights, and both Showdown and Voltage have already chosen who they want to participate in this match. Charlie Marr and Veena Adams will be representing Showdown, and Adam Lucas and Dr. Bethany Blue will be representing Voltage. It is interesting to see that both brands have gone with people who are romantically linked with one another, and we figured with that in mind we have the perfect candidates who would be able to represent Dynasty.
Richard Grant: What do you think? How would you like to represent this brand at Road To Redemption?
(Rex and Raven look intrigued by this, but both of them seem very hesitant for a good moment.)
Rex McAllister: We appreciate the offer, truly, and we’re both glad that the two of you decided to choose us. But I’ll let you know upfront that we’re not representing this brand, we’re representing Fire & Ice. We’re going to be fighting for ourselves and only ourselves and I hope that’s something that the two of you can understand.
Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: Oh, of course! As long as it gets the two of you the win of course.
Raven Roberts: Then consider it a deal, we’ll participate in your match.
Richard Grant: Excellent! Alright, that is all. Make sure to make the proper preparations and bring it home!
(Rex and Raven nod their heads as they stand up from their chairs, both members of Fire & ice then begin to make their way out of the office as it’s the last shot seen before Friday Night Dynasty, from there, begins to fade to elsewhere.)
(Friday Night Dynasty returns to the ringside area as Stephie Love is seen standing by. She has a smile on her face and a microphone in hand as she begins to speak.)
Stephie Love: The following non-title match is scheduled for…
Crowd: ONE FALL!!!
Stephie Love: And it is an Extreme Elimination Chamber PREVIEW MATCH!!!!!!!!!!
(‘Pride and Arrogance’ by Takeru Kanazaki begins to blast through the speakers as the crowd boos loudly. The camera goes over to show a smug and arrogant Drake Armstrong as he is seen making his way out from the backstage area. He scans around before spreading his arms out, embracing the negativity before making his way down the ramp.)
Stephie Love: Introducing first… from Scarsdale, New York… weighing in at 245 pounds… ‘THE FUTURE’… DRAKE ARMSTRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Stew-O: Well here comes Drake Armstrong, who certainly got what you could call a taste of his own medicine last week on Friday Night Dynasty. The Future is walking into this match with a purpose, looking to get a huge win.
Jake Mercer: I could only imagine what would happen if he actually does, he wouldn’t shut up would he?
Flannery McCoy: Absolutely not. He’d have a lot backing him if he was able to get a win over the World Champion amidst a big-money Extreme Elimination Chamber. We’re just going to have to see whether or not he’s going to see through to that or not.
(‘2024’ by Playboi Carti then hits as the crowd erupts into thunderous cheers. The camera goes over to the stage as World Heavyweight Champion Joso is seen making his way out. He bears an expression of confidence but also is deadly serious as he eyes his opponent in the ring, then begins to make his way down the ramp.)
Stephie Love: And his opponent… from Bronx, New York… weighing in at 206 pounds… he is the WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION!!!!!!!!!! THE ‘STAR PLAYER’… JOSO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Stew-O: Joso has had the odds stacked against him these past couple of weeks, with plenty of elements pertaining to the Extreme Elimination Chamber being thrown his way. It’s safe to say that this match is not excluded from chaos as well.
Flannery McCoy: You never know who could be lurking in the distance, especially considering what we saw earlier in the night between Impact and Hans Grayson, all of this could very well spill over and shift the result of this match, and I’m sure Joso is not going to want that, but I know for certain that he’s going to do everything to make sure that doesn’t happen.
Jake Mercer: It’s going to be a long road, but it’s nothing Joso hasn’t handled before! He’s all focused making his way to the ring to the night and he’s definitely going to need that!
(DING! DING! DING!)
Stew-O: The bell has officially rung and here we go, this Extreme Elimination Chamber preview match is officially underway! Drake Armstrong, a man who didn’t earn his way into the Chamber but rather requested it a couple of weeks back, goes up against the World Heavyweight Champion, the man who everyone seems to be gunning at, Joso.
Jake Mercer: Well that’s a very harsh way to put it, Stew! I’d say that Drake Armstrong was just a cunning individual, we know that he can be exactly that!
Flannery McCoy: Well regardless of how you feel about it, Drake is looking to get some well-needed momentum tonight, and I could only imagine how it would feel if he managed to beat the Champion on Dynasty. Both of them are making their way around the ring, and it seems like they’re immediately locking up into a collar-and-elbow tie-up!
Stew-O: Both of them are jockeying for position right now as Joso begins to gain the upper hand on the former Interwire Champion, pushing him toward the ropes as he backs him up. Drake immediately holds his hands up as the referee makes his way over and forces the rope break between the two. It seems to be a clean-
(SLAP!)
Flannery McCoy: BUT AS JOSO BACKS UP, DRAKE LEANS FORWARD AND SLAPS THE TASTE OUT OF HIS MOUTH! The Champion looks livid and Drake Armstrong is wasting no time dropping down and sliding out of the ring, wanting no part of whatever he had in store for him right there!
(Drake is laughing it up on the outside, clearly proud of himself for the cheap shot. But Joso doesn’t seem to let him go so easily, as he immediately makes his way over and rolls under the bottom rope and down to the ringside area.)
Jake Mercer: Drake immediately rushes toward Joso, but as he does, it’s Joso who connects with a boot to the abdomen to double him over! Joso then grabs him by the head, as he connects with a massive uppercut that sends The Future staggering backward! Drake is trying to retreat as you can see, but Joso has already made his way over and snatched him by the head, AS HE TURNS HIM AROUND AND SENDS HIM COLLIDING FACE FIRST WITH THE RINGPOST WHICH COMPLETELY WIPES HIM OUT!
Stew-O: Drake stumbles down to the ground and you can tell this is definitely not how he wanted this one to begin. Joso snatches him by the head before rolling him back into the ring, quickly climbing onto the apron as he waits for him to get back up to his feet… BEFORE LAUNCHING OFF AND CONNECTING WITH A SPRINGBOARD CLOTHESLINE STRAIGHT TO HIS HEAD!
Flannery McCoy: Drake lands flat on his back and Joso isn’t done either. Drake is quickly rising back up to his feet but at the same time, Joso is already in motion as he runs to the ropes… BEFORE LAUNCHING OFF OF THEM AND TWISTING AROUND INTO A SPRINGBOARD CROSSBODY-
Jake Mercer: CAUGHT! JUST IN TIME, DRAKE MANAGES TO GRAB HIM! Joso tries to shake himself free but Drake has a good grip on him, AND HE LAUNCHES HIM BACKWARD INTO A FALLAWAY SLAM WHICH SENDS HIM DOWN TO THE GROUND! Drake is quick to rise back up to his feet as he makes his way over to Joso, proceeding to grab him by the wrist as he brings him up, sending him to the ropes with an Irish whip… SNATCHING HIM AS HE REBOUNDS AND CONNECTING WITH A FACEBREAKER KNEE SMASH!
Stew-O: Joso is dropped down to the mat as he covers his face in pain momentarily, but the World Heavyweight Champion is immediately beginning to crawl away as he snatches a hold of the ropes and uses them to rise back up to his feet. What he doesn’t see though is Drake beginning to make his way over as he sizes him up, before connecting with a hard chop across the chest to take the air out of his lungs!
Flannery McCoy: Drake then grabs him by the head and brings him toward the center of the ring, before dropping him down with a Snapmare! The Future now making his way back up to his feet before running to the ropes and back… LOOKING TO CONNECT WITH A HARD KICK TO THE CHEST OF JOSO!
Jake Mercer: WHICH DOESN’T CONNECT! Joso just in time manages to seize the ankle of Drake before quickly getting back up to his feet, SPINNING AROUND AS HE DROPS DRAKE DOWN WITH A DRAGON SCREW! Drake clutches his leg in pain and now Joso is looking to take advantage, grabbing him and seemingly turning him around into a Boston Crab submission- But Drake manages to get one of his legs free as he sends a boot to the face of Joso to force him away!
Stew-O: Joso staggers backward and this gives Drake the opportunity to get back up to his feet. The World Heavyweight Champion makes his way over, ONLY FOR DRAKE TO GO UNDER AND LIFT HIM UP INTO AN INVERTED ATOMIC DROP! Joso manages to keep himself up as he tries to swing at Drake- But Drake manages to duck under that as he grabs him around the waist, LIFTING HIM OFF OF THE GROUND AND GOING FOR A BACK SUPLEX TO JOSO-
Flannery McCoy: BUT JOSO FLIPS OUT OF IT, AS HE SCOOPS DRAKE UP AND DROPS HIM BACK DOWN WITH ‘INCOMING SILENCE’! THE BLUE THUNDER BOMB CONNECTS AND IT’S THE WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION WHO PINS DRAKE’S SHOULDERS DOWN TO THE GROUND! THE REFEREE SLIDES DOWN FOR THE COUNT!
OOONNNEEE!!!
TTTTWWWWOOOO!!!!
TTTTTTHHH-
Jake Mercer: BUT DRAKE MANAGES TO SHOOT THE SHOULDER UP AND KICK OUT OF THE PIN! Close call there but this match is still going, and I think Joso realizes in his mind that he’s going to have to do more right now in order to truly get ahead.
Stew-O: Which is what he’s about to do, he rolls himself under the bottom rope and rises up on the apron, beginning to make his way up to the top turnbuckle and looking to take down Drake Armstrong from above! He begins to set him up…
Flannery McCoy: BUT THAT DOESN’T WORK OUT! DRAKE MANAGES TO SHOOT UP AND RUN HIMSELF FORWARD AS HE CONNECTS WITH A HARD PUNCH ACROSS THE FACE OF JOSO! Joso is stunned and this allows Drake to take advantage as he begins to scale his way up the turnbuckles. Joso is trying to send strikes in retaliation, but The Future is already one step ahead as he connects with more strikes in return!
Jake Mercer: Joso is teetering and Drake looks to take advantage of this, he snatches hold of him by the head into a front facelock, and it looks like we know what he has in mind right now… AS HE LIFTS JOSO OFF THE TOP ROPE AND INTO A SUPERPLEX-
Stew-O: NO! JOSO MANAGES TO KEEP HIMSELF ON THE TURNBUCKLE! Drake goes back down as his attempt at offense is quickly thwarted! Joso begins to send strikes to the abdomen, beginning to take control back of this situation right here! The Champion now has him set up for something of his own… AS HE LIFTS HIM AND SENDS HIM CRASHING DOWN TO THE GROUND WITH AN AVALANCHE GOURDBUSTER!
Flannery McCoy: DRAKE LANDS FLAT ON HIS CHEST AND JOSO MANAGES TO KEEP HIMSELF ON THE TOP ROPE! He positions himself… BEFORE PUSHING OFF AND GOING FOR A SHOOTING STAR PRESS-
Jake Mercer: NO! DRAKE MANAGES TO ROLL OUT OF THE WAY BEFORE THAT CAN CONNECT! Joso lands flat on his chest as he rises back up to his feet, and Drake seems to be stepping back as he rushes forward…
Stew-O: HE LAUNCHES THROUGH THE AIR AND GOES FOR A ‘HALBERD FROM HELL’ ATTEMPT TO THE CHAMPION-
Flannery McCoy: NO! JOSO MANAGES TO TAKE A STEP BACK AND SNATCH THE ANKLES OF DRAKE JUST IN TIME! HE’S ABOUT TO LOCK IN A SUBMISSION-
Jake Mercer: BUT DRAKE MANAGES TO REACH OUT AND GRAB A HOLD OF THE HEAD OF JOSO AND ROLL HIM UP INTO A INSIDE CRADLE PIN ATTEMPT!
OOONNNEEE!!!
TTTTWWWWOOOO!!!!
Stew-O: BUT JOSO MANAGES TO KICK OUT OF IT JUST IN TIME! Both of them manage to separate and rise to their feet, Joso rushes toward Drake and attempts to strike- BUT DRAKE TAKES ADVANTAGE OF THE SITUATION AND GOES UNDER BEFORE DRIVING A KNEE STRAIGHT INTO HIS ABDOMEN! Joso doubles over and Drake is manuevering around, going for something right now…
Flannery McCoy: AS HE LOCKS IN THE ‘BOURGEOIS BITE’! THE ABDOMINAL STRETCH IS LOCKED IN AS JOSO IS BEING TORN APART RIGHT NOW WITH THE SUBMISSION IN DEEP!
Jake Mercer: THE WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION IS TRAPPED AS HE’S TRYING TO SQUIRM OUT OF IT, BUT DRAKE DOESN’T PLAN ON LETTING THE HOLD GO ANYTIME SOON! JOSO IS INCHES TOWARD THE ROPES AS HE STRETCHES OUT, BUT HE’S JUST BARELY MISSING THE MARK RIGHT NOW! DRAKE IS TRYING TO DO EVERYTHING THAT HS POSSIBLY CAN IN ORDER TO PULL HIM AWAY, BUT JOSO IS CONTINUING TO PERSIST, REFUSING TO LET THIS END UP GETTING THE BETTER OF HIM!
Stew-O: JOSO IS ABOUT TO FORCE THE ROPE BREAK AS HE STRETCHES HIS ARM OUT AND REACHES TOWARD THE TOP ROPE-
Flannery McCoy: BUT DRAKE PURPOSELY LETS GO OF THE HOLD AS HE REALIZES THE SITUATION THAT HE’S IN! HE GRABS JOSO BY THE ARM AND TAKES HIM DOWN TO THE GROUND WITH A HIP TOSS! JOSO LANDS IN A SEATED POSITION AND DRAKE TAKES ADVANTAGE OF THIS AS HE SHOOTS TOWARD THE ROPES, REBOUNDING…
Jake Mercer: BUT JOSO SHOOTS UP TO HIS FEET AND LEAPS INTO THE AIR AS HE CONNECTS WITH A PICTURE PERFECT DROPKICK STRAIGHT TO THE FACE OF DRAKE ARMSTRONG TO TAKE HIM DOWN TO THE CANVAS! Joso manages to get himself out of that situation just in time, but you can tell that he’s in a world of pain considering how long that submission was locked in for. He’s going to have to make sure to stay on his toes so something like that doesn’t happen again.
Stew-O: Joso rises back up to his feet while on the otherhand it’s Drake who rolls himself under the bottom rope and out of the ring. The Future is trying to get a moment to breathe as he creates distance between the two of them, but Joso isn’t letting that happen as he turns around and makes his way over to him. Drake is up to his feet, but immediately turns himself around to a forearm shot to the face by Joso! The World Heavyweight Champion is hot on his tail as he goes for a shot again- BUT DRAKE MANAGES TO DUCK UNDER THAT AS HE GOES THROUGH THE MIDDLE ROPE WITH A SHOULDER THRUST-
Flannery McCoy: BUT JOSO MOVES OUT OF THE WAY OF THAT JUST IN TIME AS HE CONNECTS WITH A SWIFT KICK STRAIGHT TO THE FACE OF DRAKE! Drake manages to hold onto the middle rope and keep himself on his feet, but Joso has zero intentions of letting that be, as he grabs a hold of the ropes and sets himself up… AND HE JUMPS OVER THE TOP ROPE AND LOOKS TO PLANT DRAKE ON THE APRON WITH A SLINGSHOT DDT!
Jake Mercer: NO! DRAKE MANAGES TO CATCH JOSO IN THE AIR AND SHOVE HIM AWAY! Joso lands on the apron and holds his ground as Drake staggers backward, taking a breather for the moment as the World Heavyweight Champion continues to apply the pressure. Joso recovers quickly as he makes his way over to Drake, absolutely not letting him go…
Stew-O: BUT DRAKE MANAGES TO SNATCH HIM BY THE WAIST! HE POSITIONS HIMSELF BEFORE LAUNCHING HIM OFF OF THE APRON WITH A BELLY-TO-BELLY SUPLEX-
Flannery McCoy: BUT JOSO FLIPS OVER AND LANDS ON HIS FEET! HE TURNS HIMSELF AROUND AS HE SWIPES AT THE LEGS OF DRAKE AND CAUSES HIM TO LAND SPINE-FIRST ON THE APRON! Drake gives a cry of pain but is very quick to roll himself back into the ring, doing what he can in order to get away from Joso in this precarious position. But the Star Player has climbed up onto the apron as he positions himself, BEFORE SPRINGBOARDING OFF AND GOING FOR 450 SPLASH-
Jake Mercer: DRAKE GETS THE KNEES UP! HE MANAGES TO AVOID THAT JUST IN THE NICK OF TIME BEFORE SCRAMBLING AWAY AND MANAGING TO RISE BACK TO HIS FEET! Joso is hurt as he clutches his abdomen, surely in pain after that hard landing, but he’s quickly up to his feet and rushes over to Drake…
Stew-O: BUT DRAKE MANAGES TO GO UNDER AS HE LIFTS JOSO UPSIDE DOWN! HE’S GOING FOR ‘DEATH PENALTY’! THE GOTCH-STYLE TOMBSTONE PILEDRIVER-
Flannery McCoy: BUT JOSO MANAGES TO WIGGLE HIS WAY OUT OF IT AS HE ROLLS BACK UP TO HIS FEET! DRAKE IS TAKEN ABACK BY THIS AS HE TRIES TO ATTACK JOSO, BUT BEFORE HE CAN, JOSO SPINS AROUND AND CONNECTS WITH A DISCUS ELBOW STRAIGHT TO THE FACE! Drake is hurt by this as he spins around, nearly about to fall to the ground… BUT BEFORE HE DOES, JOSO LEAPS INTO THE AIR, LATCHING ONTO HIS BACK, AND CONNECTS WITH A BACKSTABBER!
Jake Mercer: Drake is dropped down to the canvas and Joso isn’t done either, he snatches him by the head and turns him back around, bringing him into a front facelock… BEFORE POPPING HIM OFF THE GROUND AND DROPPING HIM DOWN ONTO HIS HEAD WITH A BRAINBUSTER! Drake seizes the back of his head in pain and Joso rolls up again, looking to keep the momentum going, AS HE FLIPS OFF OF THE GROUND AND CONNECTS WITH A STANDING SHOOTING STAR PRESS!
Stew-O: You can see the tired expression on the face of Joso right now, but regardless he’s kicking it into overdrive as he knows just how crucial these moments are to this match right now. He grabs hold of Drake and brings him up once again, and he has a crazed look in his eyes as he aims to close this match off right now…
Flannery McCoy: PULLING HIM IN AND LIFTING HIM FOR A ‘HEAVEN’S GATE’ ATTEMPT! PACKAGE PILEDRIVER TO DRAKE-
Jake Mercer: NO! DRAKE MANAGES TO SLIP UNDER THE LEGS OF DRAKE AND SCAMPER BEHIND HIM! JOSO TURNS AROUND AS HE TRIES TO RETALIATE TOWARD DRAKE- BUT DRAKE SPINS AROUND AS HE RAKES THE EYES OF JOSO!
Stew-O: The referee makes his way over to scold Drake as Joso drops down to his knees, clearly blinded by this right now. But Drake is not looking to let go of that so easily as he slithers around the referee, PROCEEDING TO STEP FORWARD AND CONNECT WITH A BOOT STRAIGHT TO THE FACE! And now Joso is dropped down to the mat and The Future is wasting zero time mounting on top of him and beginning to unload with rapid-fire strikes to the face!
Flannery McCoy: Drake is trying to send a statement right now and I think he’s looking to push it further! He grabs a hold of Joso and brings him up to his feet, turning him around as he seems to be setting him up for something, this isn’t going to be good…
Jake Mercer: AS HE LIFTS JOSO UP FOR ‘NATURAL TALENT’!
Stew-O: BUT JOSO MANAGES TO FLIP OUT OF IT AS HE TURNS HIMSELF AROUND! HE KICKS DRAKE IN THE ABDOMEN BEFORE PULLING HIM IN AND LIFTING HIM OFF OF THE GROUND!
Flannery McCoy: DROPPING HIM DOWN WITH ‘HEAVEN’S GATE’! THE PACKAGE PILEDRIVER CONNECTS AND JOSO STAGGERS BACKWARD DUE TO THE SHEER IMPACT OF THE MOVE AND COLLECTS HIMSELF-
Jake Mercer: WHAT THE HELL?! SOMEONE JUST SLID INTO THE RING AND NAILED JOSO WITH A BOOT TO THE FACE! AND NOW THEY TURN AROUND AND MOUNT ON TOP OF DRAKE ARMSTRONG WITH REPEATED PUNCHES!
(DING! DING! DING! DING! DING!)
Stew-O: THIS MATCH SEEMS TO BE A NO CONTEST AS WE GET A CLOSER LOOK OF WHO THAT IS…
Flannery McCoy: THAT’S BRAE! THE NEW BREED CHAMPION IS HERE AND AS HE CONNECTED WITH ‘MORRIGAN’ STRAIGHT TO THE FACE OF JOSO, HE’S MOUNTED ON TOP OF DRAKE AND BEGIN TO BEAT HIM DOWN EVEN AFTER HE GOT DROPPED RIGHT DOWN ON HIS HEAD!
Jake Mercer: BRAE IS PICKING UP THE PIECES OF THIS MATCH RIGHT NOW AND HE MAKES HIS WAY BACK UP TO HIS FEET, LOOKING TO FLY…
Stew-O: AS ‘RED DEATH’ CONNECTS ONTO DRAKE ARMSTRONG! COMPLETELY KNOCKING HIM OUT COLD RIGHT NOW! AND BRAE ISN’T DONE AS HE GETS BACK UP…
Flannery McCoy: AND CONNECTS WITH ANOTHER TO A RECOVERING JOSO! BOTH MEN ARE OUT AND IT’S CLEAR THAT BRAE STANDING TALL RIGHT NOW IS A CLEAR INDICATOR OF WHAT HE BELIEVES TO BE THE RESULT OF ROAD TO REDEMPTION! WHAT A STATEMENT MADE BY THE NEW BREED CHAMPION!
(The crowd is going wild as BRAE makes his way over to his title, scooping it up as he looks down at both Joso and Drake. With a confident expression on his face, he raises it high into the air, garnering a loud response, as it’s the last shot seen before Friday Night Dynasty then begins to fade to elsewhere.)
(A commercial plays for Domino’s.)
(Friday Night Dynasty’s video feed shifts backstage to the interview area, where Michael Belfort can be seen standing next to Hans Grayson; the Fire Heart has a deep scowl on his face with no gold around his waist or on either of his shoulders. He glares at the camera silently as Michael Belfort begins to speak.)
Michael Belfort: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome my guest at this time… the former EAW Interwire Champion, Hans Grayson. Hans, we should address the elephant in the room, and that is what happened last week at Super Dynasty; what was a championship defense that may have ended up in a victory for you became a tainted championship victory for Vincent Mondrian when the recently returned Karl Impact interfered in the match and cost you the gold. You had the opportunity at Road to Redemption to potentially become a double champion, joining the rare ranks of Andre Walker and Kassidy Heart, if you had entered the Extreme Elimination Chamber with your Interwire Championship reign intact. However, we’ll never know for sure whether you would have been able to win that match or not due to the interference muddying the waters. What do you have to say about the events that transpired during your title loss?
Hans Grayson: …
(Hans Grayson closes his eyes, shaking his head with that scowl still present, before turning to face the camera once again.)
Hans Grayson: To tell you the truth, Michael, I’m pissed off. Of course I’m pissed off; who wouldn’t be? The way my first championship reign finished off left a bad taste in my mouth; all the hard work and effort I put in since House of Glass from 2023 was so that I could get back to a championship level and fix my mistakes from the first time around. At Pain for Pride Kingdom, I EARNED my chance at reigning once again, and ever since that day, I’ve put in the work WEEK after WEEK to make this reign special.
Hans Grayson: Did you hear me, Michael? Week… after… week. I have been here struggling, jumping through all the hoops, jumping over all the hurdles, because that is what I represent. If we’re being honest, you know as well as everyone in the EAW Universe knows that the Interwire Championship should be on my shoulder at this very moment. But it’s not, is it? All because of a guy who week after week after week has been GONE until it was time for Road to Redemption season. He decided to stick his head back into the company after god knows how many hiatuses and start ruining everything just for the fun of it. My hard work got ruined because his fragile ego was wounded from that ‘debate’ we had, and so he decided to press his thumb down on the new generation and end a title reign when he’s had MORE than enough of those.
Hans Grayson: So that’s where we’re at with Impact, then? He shows up and talks all the trash he wants, but the moment someone responds, he starts cheating people out of their title reigns. No matter how much trash he talks, it’ll never amount to the trash that he IS. But, you know what? The past is the past. I can’t do anything about what has already happened; there’s no time machine I can step into so I can make Super Dynasty go right for me. All I can do is look forward to Road to Redemption, where my chance at the World Heavyweight Championship still exists. If Impact thought what he did to me was going to make me run away from him, then he’s stupider than he looks.
(Hans pointed at the camera fiercely.)
Hans Grayson: All you did, Impact, was IGNITE the Fire Heart. You put a target on your back, and that’s a target I’m going to hit when it’s time for the chamber. You were stupid for thinking you could get away with it. If you thought you’re going to get your eleventh reign, you’ve got another thing coming. You pushed the Fire Breathing Dragon too far, and now you’re going to feel the consequences! You-
(Before he could continue, Michael Belfort was carelessly shoved out of the way, leading to another man entering the frame: Karl Impact himself.)
Impact: Looking a little lighter there, aren’t we, little buddy? Pretty funny coming from you, saying you’re going to prevent my eleventh world title reign when you have yet to feel your first.
(Hans begins looking progressively more infuriated as the insults spill out of Impact’s mouth.)
Impact: You look like you’re about to blow a fuse; I’ve got to wonder, have you had a single thought anytime between House of Glass and now? You talk your shit to me and expect me to laugh it off; that right there is stupidity in living color. Complaining about my hiatuses means nothing because there’s nothing you can do or say to stop me. I’ve earned the right to do whatever the hell I want because I’ve had a career that you couldn’t live up to if you lived ten lifetimes. I could go on hiatus, skip Road to Redemption, come back to you as world champion and still be immeasurably better than you because what I do works on a level that you could never hope to achieve.
Hans Grayson: You son of a-
(Hans looks like he’s about to throw a fist at Impact, but Impact puts his own hand up in the way.)
Impact: Hold on. I have no interest in humoring you any further. Last week, I sent you a message that anything said or done against me has consequences. Every action has a reaction, and the reaction doesn’t need to be equal. If you haven’t learned your lesson after Super Dynasty, things are only going to get worse going forward. I have more important things to do right now, such as getting ready for my match, something that people will actually care to watch. Catch you later.
Hans Grayson: …
(Impact gives a smug grin as he just walks past Hans Grayson, leaving him seething in the wake.)
Hans Grayson: We’ll see who needs to learn their lesson about ‘consequences’, Impact.
(The video feed lingers on Grayson’s obvious anger before fading to black.)
Stephie Love: The following contest is scheduled for ONE FALL!
Crowd: ONE FALL!
(‘Invincible’ by Pop Smoke plays. Chris Elite walks out, and this time, he is met with a mixed reaction, more than likely stemming from his actions last week against Rex McAllister.)
Stephie Love: Introducing first, from Brooklyn, New York, he is CHRIIIIIIIIIS ELIIIITEEEEE!
Stew-O: Well, this might be the first time in a long time where Chris Elite isn’t coming out to a warm reception. Last week on Super Dynasty, he was able to defeat Rex McAllister through some unstable means to qualify for the WHC Chamber at Road to Redemption, and many were shocked by that.
Jake Mercer: I can’t blame them, but at the same time, this is wrestling. You need to win, and sometimes, people gotta bend things in order to get ahead of the opposition. With a chamber spot on the line, there was nothing Chris wasn’t willing to do.
Flannery McCoy: I guess so. But that’s done now, and Chris looks to add even more momentum on his side tonight.
(Chris gets in the ring, and soon, the piano key to Still D.R.E. hits and nobody emerges from behind the curtain for a moment, the titantron denoting in bold text various accomplishments Karl Impact has notched over the years alongside the video of the events as the piano version continues. Piano version of Still D.R.E. cuts into the original song from its start as emerald green strobe lights affix the emerging Karl Impact, simultaneous with his pyro, as he makes his calculated saunter down the ramp with over fifteen years and ten EAW World Championships behind his every step.)
Stephie Love: And his opponent! From Seattle, Washington, he is IIIIIIIIMPAAAAAAACT!
Stew-O: This is Impact’s first official match back since Pain for Pride: Kingdom, and he shocked the world when he revealed he was the surprise entrant for the WHC Chamber!
Jake Mercer: He sure did, but what else can you expect from the GOAT, #DiezVeces himself?! Impact is back, baby, and right where he should be!
Flannery McCoy: It’ll be interesting to see how Impact fares tonight. One has to wonder if being away for almost six months will be a factor here. Then again, if there’s anyone who can still hold their own, it’s this man right here.
(Impact gets in the ring, and he smirks right at Chris, who doesn’t even give much thought to the expression. The bell then rings.)
(DING DING DING!)
Stew-O: A battle of hall of famers and future Chamber opponents here as Chris Elite and Impact square off! Impact goes to the middle of the ring, meeting up with Chris, and the two lock up, igniting the EAW Universe as everyone is going crazy for this clash of legends!
Jake Mercer: Can’t blame them! Chris and Impact is a huge match-up as is; it almost feels criminal for this to be on a Dynasty show, but at the same time, this brand is all about the biggest names, the biggest matches, and we’re seeing that in full force as Impact drags Chris down to the mat with an arm drag! That one was snappy! Someone definitely doesn’t have any ring rust, at least not at this point.
Flannery McCoy: Definitely sharp, but just as sharp is Chris Elite, who kips up and takes Impact down with an arm drag of his own! He pops back up to his feet, as does Impact! The two former world champions go to lock up—OH! Actually, no! Impact just went low with a punch to the gut, and that caught Chris off guard! He gets a standing side headlock, really torquing it, and it seems like he might be looking to wear down Elite from early on.
Stew-O: That would be sound strategy is Chris Elite is one of the greatest high flyers in EAW history, and when he gets the momentum rolling, it’s often hard to stop him! However, Elite seems determined to get out of this, knowing the kind of predicament he could very well be in, and he attacks with forearms targeted to Impact’s side! They keep landing, and Impact’s grip appears to be loosening!
Jake Mercer: Impact tries to re-center himself, but Chris pushes him off and towards the ropes! Impact comes back on the rebound! DROPKICK FROM CHRIS ELITE—
Flannery McCoy: Missed! Impact was able to re-direct himself and charges to the left, coming back! HE GOES FOR A DROPKICK OF HIS OWN—
Stew-O: BUT CHRIS ELITE BACKFLIPPED OUT OF THE WAY AND CATCHES HIM WITH A BASEMENT DROPKICK TO THE FACE! WHAT AN ESCAPE THERE! HE QUICKLY FALLS ONTO HIM AND COVERS!
Referee: ONE–
Jake Mercer: But just as quick is Impact, who raises the shoulder off the mat. Way too soon for this match to end.
Flannery McCoy: Yeah. Chris grabs a hold of him and brings him up to his feet. He fixes his positioning and raises him up high into the air! Could be going for a suplex here!
Stew-O: But Impact is fighting, squirming around, and that’s causing Chris to lose his grasp on him this time around! Impact lands right behind him, wraps his arms around him, and LIFTS HIM UP! GERMAN SUPLEX!
Jake Mercer: WOULD’VE GOTTEN IT IF CHRIS DIDN’T HAVE THE WHERWITHAL TO BACKFLIP AND LAND ON HIS OWN TWO FEET! THIS MAN THINKS HE’S SPIDERMAN!
Flannery McCoy: And Chris spins Impact around, looking for a roundhouse kick—But Impact had that scouted! Ducking underneath the attacking leg, he grabs it and trips Chris down to the mat! He rolls him backwards, getting him to a kneeling position—STIFF BOOT TO THE FACE! CHRIS NEARLY FALLS BACK FROM THAT!
Stew-O: BUT CHRIS ELITE CATCHES HIMSELF JUST IN TIME! The agility of Chris Elite is absolutely insane, but Impact is not letting him recover! Impact rushes forward and hooks Chris by the neck—SNAP DDT! CHRIS ELITE’S HEAD JUST SPIKED INTO THE MAT WITH THAT ONE! IMPACT IMMEDIATELY COVERS HIM!
Referee: ONE—
Jake Mercer: Shoulder up!
Flannery McCoy: Impact doesn’t waste a single second here. He begins to stomp down on Chris, doing everything he can to keep him down on the mat! He stops, but not out of mercy; he has something else in mind! Elbow drop to the chest! The point of his elbow lands hard, and Chris clutches his chest! He looks like he can be hurting already!
Stew-O: And Impact lands another elbow drop! Now, he forces Chris to a seated postion, and lands a solid kick to his back! Chris winces! However, Impact comes in again and drives his knee into the middle of his spine! Elite is in trouble here as Impact reaches over and gets a chin lock, all while he has his knee pressed against his back.
Jake Mercer: Again, keeping Chris Elite grounded is the name of the game here. Impact knows better than anyone that Chris Elite is like a spark waiting to ignite. If you let him get back to his feet, it could spell disaster. So far, this is textbook strategy from one of the most decorated Elitists in EAW history.
Flannery McCoy: Absolutely, Jake. Impact’s game plan is all about control. He’s cranking back on that chin lock, putting maximum pressure on Chris’s neck and spine. You can see the strain on Chris’s face! He’s in real pain right now!
Stew-O: Yet Chris isn’t looking to remain idle! He’s starting to move, looking to get out of this hold one way or another! He’s pushing himself up onto one knee! Impact is trying to maintain control, but Chris lands an elbow to his ribs! And another! And another! The grip is loosening! Chris is almost free—AND HE BREAKS OUT WITH A JAWBREAKER!
Jake Mercer: What a counter! Impact stumbles back, clutching his jaw, and Chris Elite is finally able to get some distance! Chris is trying to shake the cobwebs as he gets to his feet, but here comes Impact again, AND HE GOES FOR A CLOTHESLINE ATTEMPT!
Flannery McCoy: NO! CHRIS DUCKS UNDER! Impact turns around—AND ELITE SPRINGS INTO ACTION WITH A JUMPING ENZIGURI! THE KICK CONNECTS FLUSH ON IMPACT’S TEMPLE, AND HE’S DOWN!
Stew-O: Chris rubs his chin, nodding his head! And now, he heads over to Impact, laying in some stomps as a receipt from earlier! Definitely showing some aggression of his own here as he’s attacking Impact!
Jake Mercer: There definitely seems to have some kind of mindset change from Chris given how he was even able to qualify for the Elimination Chamber against Rex McAllister. Won’t be surprised if his hands get a little dirty here again, especially with who he is facing tonight!
Flannery McCoy: Even now, we still don’t know what exactly spurred Chris to win the match in that manner, but I guess it doesn’t really matter, and it doesn’t change the fact that he is one step closer to potentially becoming a world champion again at Road to Redemption. However, momentum is important, and Chris runs to the ropes, looking for something big that can propel him closer to a victory here tonight!
Stew-O: He leaps up into the air and hits a corkscrew elbow drop! Innovative offense there by Elite! He drops down, hooking the leg!
Referee: ONEEEEEEEEEEEEE—
Jake Mercer: Not enough, though! Another kick out from Impact!
Flannery McCoy: The former EAW World Heavyweight Champion looks to keep the pressure up, taking Impact by the wrist and forcing him up. Chris uses his strength to whip him into the corner! Impact crashes against it, and now, Chris is coming in full speed ahead! Looks like he’s going for a forearm to the face—BOOT TO THE FACE! Impact was able to do that at the last second, causing Chris to come to a screeching halt as he staggers on his feet!
Stew-O: Impact comes out of the corner and explodes with a VICIOUS knife edge chop! Chris stumbles backwards, and Impact latches on—SNAP SUPLEX INTO THE CORNER! WOW! CHRIS GOT WIPED OUT FROM THAT!
Jake Mercer: He certainly did, and now, Impact drags him out and climbs up the corner! MOONSAULT! Picture-perfect as can be! He’s got the cover attempt!
Referee: ONEEEEEEEEEE!
Referee: TWOOO—
Flannery McCoy: But that wasn’t enough to put Chris away, as impressive of a sight that was! Impact hasn’t slowed down for a single second in this contest, so far! It’s like he never left!
Stew-O: That is true. Now, he seeks to be in firm of control, dictating the pace as he mounts Chris Elite and attacks with punches to the face. Chris brings his forearms up, doing the best he can to defend against most of those blows, but Impact gets up and grabs him by the ankles! He drags him towards the ropes and falls back, SLINGSHOTING HIM THROAT-FIRST INTO THE ROPES! CHRIS FALLS, AND IMPACT RAISES HIS KNEES UP, WHERE ELITE CRASHES BACK-FIRST INTO THEM!
Jake Mercer: Damn! Talk about a two for one deal right there! Impact still has hold of the ankles, too! He gets up and drags Chris to the center, making sure he is nowhere near the ropes, and for good reason—he’s looking to lock in a Boston crab!
Flannery McCoy: This is a smart move by Impact. After that brutal slingshot and backbreaker combination, Chris Elite’s spine has to be in agony! And now, locking in the Boston Crab just piles on the punishment! Impact sits down deep into the hold, applying an immense amount of pressure on Chris’s lower back!
Stew-O: You can see the pain etched across Chris Elite’s face! He’s trapped in the middle of the ring with nowhere to go! Impact has him exactly where he wants him, and if Chris doesn’t figure out a way to escape, this match could be over!
Jake Mercer: Chris Elite is clawing at the canvas, desperately trying to drag himself toward the ropes, but Impact isn’t making it easy. He’s shifting his weight and leaning back even further! Chris’s lower back is being bent like a pretzel!
Flannery McCoy: Impact is shaking his head, yelling at Chris to give up, but that’s not in Chris Elite’s DNA! He’s too stubborn, too driven, and too determined! Chris stretches his arm out, fingertips just inches away from the bottom rope… but Impact senses it! He drags Chris back to the center of the ring! His situation just went from bad to worse! Impact is relentless, sitting even deeper into the Boston Crab, and now Chris looks like he’s on the verge of tapping! The referee is down, checking on him—
Jake Mercer: Hold on! Chris is planting his hands firmly on the mat now—he’s trying to push up! He’s mustering every ounce of strength he has left to counter this!
Flannery McCoy: Look at this! Chris Elite is managing to twist his body! He’s forcing Impact off balance, and he shifts his legs underneath—HE ROLLS IMPACT INTO A SMALL PACKAGE PIN!
Referee: ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
Referee: TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO—
Stew-O: IMPACT KICKS OUT!
Jake Mercer: That was close! What an incredible counter by Chris Elite, but Impact pops right back up, and so does Chris—BARELY!
Flannery McCoy: Impact rushes forward, looking to keep control, BUT CHRIS ELITE WITH A LOW DROPKICK TO THE KNEE! IMPACT COLLAPSES TO ONE KNEE, AND CHRIS FOLLOWS UP WITH A SNAP SUPERKICK TO THE SIDE OF THE HEAD!
Stew-O: Impact is stunned! Chris Elite is still holding his lower back in pain, but he’s digging deep, feeding off the adrenaline! Impact is wobbling, trying to stay on his feet, BUT CHRIS SPRINGS OFF THE ROPES AND COMES BACK IN WITH A RUNNING BLOCKBUSTER! IMPACT IS PLANTED!
Jake Mercer: WHAT A SEQUENCE FROM CHRIS ELITE! THAT WAS UNREAL! But Chris isn’t going for the cover—he knows he needs something bigger to put Impact away!
Flannery McCoy: You’re right, Jake! Chris is slowly making his way to the corner, climbing to the top rope. He’s looking to end this once and for all!
Stew-O: This is it! Chris Elite is perched on the top rope, the crowd on their feet, and Impact is still down! Chris takes one final breath—AND HE LEAPS! SHOOTING STAR PRESS!
Jake Mercer: HE GETS IT! CHRIS POPS BACK UP, CLUTCHING HIS ABDOMEN, WHILE IMPACT ROLLS OVER IN PAIN! HE’S GOT THE TEN-TIME WORLD CHAMPION IN TROUBLE HERE!
Flannery McCoy: THAT HE DOES! IMPACT TRIES TO RISE, BUT CHRIS HAS HIM RIGHT IN HIS SIGHTS! AND ONCE AGAIN, ELITE CHARGES IN…!
Jake Mercer: BANG! ‘OPEN YA MATA’! THE KNEE CONNECTS, AND HE FALLS INTO THE COVER!
Referee: ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
Referee: TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Referee: THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE—
Stew-O: BUT HE DOESN’T GET IT BECAUSE IMPACT WAS ABLE TO GET THE ROPE BREAK!
Flannery McCoy: Wow! Impact manages to survive! That ring awareness came in full force and Chris looks absolutely stunned—he thought he had this match won!
Jake Mercer: And honestly, so did I! That “Open Ya Mata” knee strike was delivered with pinpoint precision, and Impact was laid out! However, I think what happened was that Impact moved himself closer to the ropes after taking that shooting star press, then came that knee, and he thoughtfully positioned himself where, in the event he couldn’t kick out, he had the ropes to help him out! Impact is playing 5D ultra chess right here, and this is exactly why he is the most decorated Elitist in this company’s history!
Flannery McCoy: If only Chris had noticed, but at the same time, you can’t really blame him for trying to immediately capitalize after nailing one of his biggest moves in his arsenal! Still, Impact is in an unfavorable position, and if Chris can hurry up, he can win here!
Stew-O: Chris realizes this, breaking out of his shock and looking to get a move on. He’s up on his feet! He’s motioning for Impact to get up!
Jake Mercer: Impact is pulling himself up by the ropes, clearly dazed. He turns around, and here comes Chris Elite again! HE’S CHARGING IN FOR ANOTHER ‘OPEN YA MATA’ KNEE STRIKE—
Stew-O: BUT IMPACT DUCKS UNDER! HE AVOIDS THE KNEE AT THE LAST POSSIBLE SECOND!
Flannery McCoy: Chris Elite stumbles past, but quickly spins around—AND WALKS RIGHT INTO A THUMB TO THE EYE FROM IMPACT!
Jake Mercer: Oh, come on! That’s classic Impact for you, bending the rules whenever it suits him! But the referee didn’t catch it, and now Chris Elite is blinded!
Stew-O: Impact capitalizes immediately, kicking Chris in the gut and hooking his arms! DOUBLE UNDERHOOK BACKBREAKER! ELITE’S SPINE IS TARGETED AGAIN, AND HE COLLAPSES TO THE MAT!
Flannery McCoy: Impact drops to his knees, still visibly winded from the onslaught he’s endured. But you can see that signature smirk creeping onto his face—he knows he has the upper hand now.
Jake Mercer: And that smirk says it all! He’s slowly getting back to his feet, measuring Chris Elite, who’s starting to hurt more at this point!
Stew-O: Impact grabs Chris by the arm and drags him to his feet. He’s talking trash now, mocking Elite as he pulls him in!he’s setting him up for something big! He lifts him up, going for a powerbomb—
Flannery McCoy: BUT WAIT! CHRIS ELITE COUNTERS WITH A HURRICANRANA! IMPACT GETS SENT FLYING ACROSS THE RING!
Jake Mercer: WHERE DID THAT COME FROM?! CHRIS ELITE JUST PULLED OFF A MIRACLE, AND IMPACT SCRAMBLES UP, BUT IN COMES CHRIS, LOOKING TO CATCH HIM OFF FIRST—
Flannery McCoy: NO! STEP-UP ENZUIGIRI FROM IMAPACT! CHRIS IS OUT ON HIS FEET, SLUMPED AGAINST THE TURNBUCKLES!
Jake Mercer: AND IMPACT QUICKLY RUNS IN, GOING FOR A BACK ELBOW!
Stew-O: DISCUS LARIAT! IMPACT GETS TAKEN OUT, AND CHRIS DRAGS HIMSELF OVER TO HIM, COVERING!
Referee: ONEEEEEEEEEEEE!
Referee: TWOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Referee: THREEEEEEEEEEEEE—
Stew-O: NO! IMPACT KICKS OUT! BUT CHRIS GETS UP AND DRAGS HIM UP ALONG WITH HIM! ROUNDHOUSE KICK—
Jake Mercer: BLOCKED! IMPACT SHOVES CHRIS AWAY! ELITE STEPS BACK IN–
Flannery McCoy: ‘FIST OF FURY’!!! THE RIGHT HAND KNOCK OUT PUNCH CLIPS CHRIS WHEN HE LEAST EXPECTED IT!!
Stew-O: AND CHRIS GOES SLUMP ON THE MAT! IMPACT GOES DOWN AND PINS HIM! COULD THIS BE IT!?
Referee: ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
Referee: TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Referee: THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
(DING! DING! DING!)
(‘Still D.R.E’ hits. Impact sits up after the pin, holding onto his jaw, but that signature, shit-eating grin of his comes to the surface. He raises his own arm up, relishing in the victory he secured in his first match back in EAW. He comes to a stand, whereas Chris Elite rolls out of the ring, trying to recover.)
Stephie Love: Here is YOUR winner… IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIMPAAAAAAAAAAAAACCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCT!!!
Stew-O: What a match! Things were really heating up in the final moments of the bout! Chris Elite was so close to winning, but Impact struck where he least expected it, and he was able to get the win tonight!
Jake Mercer: Well, Impact has some major momentum on his side now at the expense of Chris Elite! And if the other EEC participants were thinking Impact was going to have some rust, then they thought wrong! Nothing about Impact has slowed down or deteriorated. He is as sharp as ever, and tonight proved that.
Flannery McCoy: Credit to Chris Elite, though. This match could’ve easily been his to win. It just came down to the wire and—
Stew-O: WAIT! IMPACT GOES DOWN!
Jake Mercer: AND IT WAS WITH A ‘FLAMING PUNCH’!!! HANS GRAYSON WIPED HIM OUT!
Flannery McCoy: OH MY GOD! HANS MOUNTS IMPACT AND FIRES OFF WITH RIGHTS AND LEFTS! IMPACT DIDN’T SEE THAT COMING, AND HE’S DEFENSELESS!
Stew-O: AND THIS ALL STEMS FROM WHEN IMPACT COST HANS THE INTERWIRE CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH LAST WEEK ON SUPER DYNASTY! HANS IS PAYING HIM BACK FOR THAT!
Jake Mercer: HANS GETS IMPACT UP—’IMPERIAL FLAME’!!! UNPRETTIER PLANTS IMPACT ONTO THE CANVAS! HE’S OUT!!
(Hans Grayson comes to a stand, yelling right at Impact. However, the fans boo once guards come rushing in, leading him out of the ring.)
Flannery McCoy: Hans is incensed! He made sure that Impact wasn’t going to move on unscathed after what he did to him!
(Hans decides to bail before the guards get to him. He shouts at Impact, all fired up as he makes his way up the steps within the crowd. Hans spreads his arms to the side.)
Hans Grayson: (off-mic) I AM NOT PLAYING WITH YOU! YOU ARE GETTING WHAT IS DESERVED AT ROAD TO REDEMPTION!
(The final shot shows a vengeful Hans standing amongst the fans rallying behind him before Dynasty fades backstage.)
(Myles can be seen walking through the hall backstage, wrapping up his wrist tape as he’s prepared for the main event tonight against Drake King. He finds himself halted for a moment, as he stands in front of a familiar figure.)
Myles: Somehow, the least surprising sight to see.
(Cy Henderson can be seen focusing his glance toward Myles, as he crosses his own arms and lets out a sharp exhale.)
Cy Henderson: Should your attention really be on me shortly before your match, Myles?
Myles: I’ll manage, Cy. After having our chat from the other week, and especially after everything that we’ve been involved with over the course of these last couple weeks, there is nothing more for me to exactly relish in regards to a genuine encounter. No need to convince you of a thing, I said what I wanted to say and of course, you made your own choice at the end of the day where I don’t have any desire to see you be pushed beyond your limitations anyhow. But you truly should be aware of how I don’t have anything to prove from my end here. That’s all you, Cy. You have something to prove after the weeks that we’ve spent involved in the business of one another now—which I didn’t want any part of in the first place mind you. You let that first shot fire off and have chosen to not make the most of your own worth on this endeavor. This shouldn’t be news to you either.
Cy Henderson: Myles, you still don’t get it, do you? I already told you the last time we were face to face out there in the middle of the ring, you’re not worth my time until you have proven yourself otherwise. When I made that choice to approach you, I wanted you to simply listen to my words and understand them with open ears. You made your own choice to treat my words as this animosity towards me that doesn’t merit itself enough for me to face you. I stated exactly what you didn’t want to hear, and if that really slighted you, then that’s how you approached the matter at hand. I’ve got nothing to prove here.
Myles: Is that so? I’m sure we both remember the instances where we have faced off, Cy. Anybody that’s been watching has understood I successfully defended the World Heavyweight Championship against you, leaving nothing behind when I secured that win over you on a Dynasty much like this one. I pinned you, clean as a whistle in the middle of that ring as you still weren’t able to capture some World Championship gold for yourself. Yet, here you are still believing that your words for how I should approach my career beyond my reign will warrant itself to be absolute? Then there’s the tag match from the Dynasty just a few weeks prior, where you found yourself on the losing end yet again. I’ve garnered quite the lead over you if I do say so myself, Cy.
Cy Henderson: You’re out of your depth beyond every sense. You treated our first encounter exactly how you wanted to, and all I did was speak my piece while letting you know how I felt. I tried to tell it to you exactly how it is, that way you don’t get complacent in your own right and trail off after all that you’ve done throughout your many months as the champion. Yeah, losing to you or anybody for that matter is never meant to be in the cards, but I know that I’ll find my own way back to championship contention as I made it clear. I will become World Champion again, my gaze has not left that goal by any means. You’re only trying to incite this much upheaval because you find yourself at odds with what I’ve been right about. You worry yourself with only yearning to face the best of the best, but the quote on quote “best” that this business has to offer comes with who holds the World Heavyweight Championship on Dynasty. You’re not focused on that with immediate effect, and that tells me how correct I have always been.
Myles: And look at you, quite far from your aspirations of World Championship gold as the Extreme Elimination Chamber is seemingly set in stone—and I don’t see your involvement within that match anywhere, Cy. You have veered yourself off course and find yourself without that goal, without that objective getting any closer than it’s been since losing to me. You’ve got no other prospects right now, and you’re just an onlooker to a match that is meant to exemplify opportunity in every manner. The same match that I emerged victorious from in order to become World Heavyweight Champion in the first place, and your involvement is nowhere in sight. What happened to you? It appears you truly have lost sight of what’s important, which makes it all the more baffling that someone like you could ever have any word to say to me of all people.
Cy Henderson: Myles—
Myles: You’re a hypocrite, Cy. The most glaring hypocrite around, for as much as you want to take the lead over what I should be doing with my career, you’ve lacked the wherewithal to take the most necessary ownership of your own path & continue to avoid that fact entirely. Right now, you’re just lost. That’s all there is to it, and I was more than ready to have you focused on something important again. But I suppose I shouldn’t expect much from an old man whose importance continues to dwindle without a care.
(Cy’s expression has become rather angered now, as he’s glaring toward Myles with his guard exponentially raised.)
Cy Henderson: I said what I said, and you’re making every wrong choice in the book… You should’ve watched your tongue before even considering the prospect of talking down to me…
Myles: Well, now I said what I said. Want to do something about it?? Then we can settle our affairs exactly how I offered last week. That’s if you’ve even got it in you to reconsider.
(Myles develops a smug expression before walking off from Cy, as Cy retains his anger & annoyance all throughout his face while pondering on the proposal of the match, with the scene fading out.)
(The camera cuts to Stephie Love in the ring.)
Stephie Love: The following main event contest is scheduled for one fall!
Crowd: ONE FALL!
(‘When Darkness Falls’ by Killswitch Engage is still heard blaring throughout the speakers, with Drake King making his way out from the back & standing at the entrance ramp with a sly grin on his face. Drake looks outward with his focus intact, the crowd continuing to let their reactions be heard as he would proceed to walk down the ramp.)
Stephie Love: Introducing first! Residing from the Dead Sea, Israel, weighing in at 220 pounds… HE IS ‘GOD’, DRAAAAAAKE, KINGGGGGG!!!
Stew-O: Drake King will be venturing into yet another battle against a man who knows incredibly well, as this match tonight will be embroiled with all of the animosity between two men who are bound to exchange in a fight tonight.
Flannery McCoy: There’s no doubt that with Road To Redemption looming in the background and mere weeks away, the two elitists tonight will be looking to establish any prominent base of momentum possible, and having that victory over the other so close to the show can do just that!
(‘Enemy Strike’ by Yuki Hayashi can be heard blaring throughout the speakers as the audience reacts loudly for the arrival of the former World Heavyweight Champion, as Myles stands on the ramp while gazing outward. He takes a glance at the audience for a brief moment shortly before looking ahead to Drake & heading down the ramp, focused in his own right.)
Stephie Love: Introducing his opponent! From Melbourne, Australia, weighing in at 225 pounds… THE UNPARALLELED, UNDISPUTED, UNRIVALED…. MYYYYYYYYYYYLEEES!!!
Stew-O: Myles steps into the fray once more, as both of these men will do battle in what is yet another Dynasty main event for each of them tonight. Myles surely had quite the words to say to Cy, and he’s feeling all the more confident as he heads into this main event clash.
Jake Mercer: I know that Cy definitely feels a very peculiar type of way about how that transpired, but that does not deter Myles from focusing on gaining this victory over a long time adversary after all of this time, as our main event kicks off!
(DING! DING! DING!)
Stew-O: And we’re off! Two legendary elitists will collide right here in our main event as we bring it all back to a historic rivalry between these EAW Hall of Famers! Myles & Drake King will be doing battle as two men who have their storied history amongst one another, so it’s easy to say that we’re expecting quite the battle between both of these elitists who have always been willing to push themselves beyond the brink in order to obtain a much needed victory! The match we witness here will be no different, as they are certainly looking to prove their own points to be made ahead of Road To Redemption as well, and now both men are entirely focused on each other!
Flannery McCoy: Now they are both pacing around the ring as they may be looking to shift into gear rather quickly, with Drake & Myles now moving forward and employing this collar-and-elbow tie-up! They’re each trying to push the other back as much as they can, and these two men are fairly even from a strength perspective—but it’s looking like Myles is mustering up more of a strengthened advantage here as he’s able to slowly but surely push Drake King against the ropes behind him! The referee is now counting down as Myles will have to separate himself from Drake King if he wants to halt any chance of a disqualification! Thankfully, Myles is beginning to bring himself away from Drake, with his hands raised—
Jake Mercer: But Drake pounces onto Myles and wraps his arms around his head!! The headlock is quickly applied as Drake is now locking himself into position with as much force as possible, Myles is keeping himself up on one knee and refusing to be put down into any prone position instead. Drake’s doing what he can but now Myles is bringing himself up and back to a proper stance while Drake is still trying to hold out with the headlock, all ‘till Myles backs himself and Drake away into the ropes and now launching Drake King off toward the ropes here!
Stew-O: Drake rushes the ropes and is able to rebound himself back as Myles quickly ducks to a prone position for Drake to hop himself over! Drake obliges as he jumps right over and toward the ropes, then proceeds to run himself back as Myles as now bringing himself up with Drake King rushing through as his opponent as now hopping himself over Drake while he’s rushing through—BUT LOOK! DRAKE HALTS IN HIS TRACKS AND ROLLS MYLES UP THE MOMENT HIS FEET HIT THE MAT AGAIN!! His shoulders are down as the referee is now rushing to the count!
ONEEEEE!!!!
TWOOOO—
Flannery McCoy: Myles quickly escapes the roll-up! He rolls himself through & backward, but as he’s trying to bring himself up to his own feet in a hurry THERE’S A FIERCE FOREARM SPRAWLING ACROSS HIS TEMPLE! Myles is sent reeling with a temple as he’s taken backwards into the corner! And now Drake is placing the pressure right onto Myles with each forearm that connects, one after the other as Myles is standing by against the corner with the referee now proceeding to count down on Drake King! Drake will need to slow himself down from obtaining an unfortunate disqualification defeat!
Jake Mercer: As Drake backs himself away from the corner as the referee is now giving him quite the scolding here, but Drake doesn’t allow this to deter him from the match at hand as he’s now rushing back toward Myles and seeking out the elbow toward Myles jaw in the corner—BUT MYLES DUCKS THE ELBOW & DRAKE TURNS AROUND INTO A BACK ELBOW FROM HIS OPPONENT! Now Myles is mounting each elbow in unison with one another as elbow after elbow is only keeping Drake from regaining what little control he may have garnered earlier!
Stew-O: And now Myles doesn’t waste time with an irish whip that sends Drake rushing into the turnbuckle!! Drake’s leaned back against the corner as Myles rushes himself over and toward Drake King as he may be looking for a running forearm of his own here! BUT A BOOT FROM DRAKE CATCHES MYLES ACROSS THE JAW!! Myles quickly clutched his own jaw as Drake now created some valuable distance between himself and Drake while he could. Drake doesn’t waste anymore time as he’s now running back toward Myles and looking to take him back down with a rolling elbow to the back of his head—
Flannery McCoy: BUT MYLES WITH A SUDDEN LARIAT THAT TURNS DRAKE KING INSIDE OUT!!! The multi-time World Champion just took Drake down without avail after Drake believed he was able to continue returning fire after the sudden boot! Now Myles is hooking the leg of Drake as the referee slides back toward counting the pin!
ONEEEEE!!!!
TWOOOOOOOOOOO—
Jake Mercer: Drake has more than enough wherewithal to kick out!! Myles is now slightly grinning to himself as he understands this is retracing the same grounds he’s once trekked through before with Drake King! He’s bringing himself up while Drake is clutching onto the ropes to be able to drag himself up now. Myles has his eyes set on Drake as he’s looking to keep a hold of Drake, now placing him in position for what can be another maneuver to keep his opponent down if he NAILS THIS X-PLEX RIGHT HERE!
Stew-O: BUT DRAKE WITH A KNEE ACROSS MYLES’ SKULL BEFORE HE COULD COMMIT TO THE RELEASE! Drake is able to land back onto his feet after Myles lets go due to the knee, which opens up a greater opportunity for Drake to assume his attack with a SINGLE LEG DROPKICK that’s now knocking Myles directly into the ropes!! Myles holds on, but Drake’s back up again and keeping his eyes set on Myles as he’s not been knocked off of his own feet just yet! Drake rushes toward Myles as he’s looking to send him reeling over the top rope now!!
Flannery McCoy: BUT MYLES USES DRAKE’S MOMENTUM AGAINST HIM TO SEND HIM FLYING RIGHT OVER HIMSELF!! Drake was able to hold onto the ropes and stop himself from disaster as he’s now clutching onto the ropes & standing onto the apron!! Myles doesn’t steer too far off from his goal however as he’s now got his eyes on Drake, looking to keep him from mounting any semblance of a comeback here as he’s looking to SWING—
Jake Mercer: BUT DRAKE DUCKS—AND LANDS AN ENZIGURI THAT STAGGERS MYLES CONSIDERABLY AS HE’S NOW LEANED AGAINST THE ROPES!! Drake was able to thin quickly and light on his feet at that, as with his opponent now staggered for the moment this allows King to get a hold of Myles in a suplex position and now.. BEGIN TO HOIST MYLES UPWARD AS THIS CAN MEAN POSSIBLE DISASTER FOR HIM RIGHT ABOUT NOW!
Stew-O: BUT MYLES SQUIRMS FREE AND LANDS ONTO THE APRON! Drake couldn’t commit to any maneuver that would’ve benefited him greatly as now Myles sends a KNIFE EDGE CHOP right across the chest of Drake King! Drake felt every bit of that chop but he’s refusing to slow himself down as he sends a STIFF FOREARM RIGHT ACROSS HIS TEMPLE! Myles’ skull is rattled from the forearm as he’s holding onto the ropes with a hand!
Flannery McCoy: Myles is refusing to let that go past him as now A STRONG ELBOW LANDS ACROSS DRAKE KING’S TEMPLE TO MATCH!! Drake’s head must be ringing intensively as he’s shaking off the elbow as much as he can, but he isn’t gonna let that go past him either as he’s got his own elbow ready for Myles which LANDS RIGHT ACROSS HIS OWN TEMPLE AS WELL!! Myles is rocked but not going down, both men are keeping themselves standing firm over the apron & across from one another!
Jake Mercer: Drake tries to obtain control with a FOREARM—BUT MYLES WITH A BOOT THAT NAILS DRAKE ACROSS THE JAW!! Drake is staggered for the moment as Myles now has given himself enough leeway to employ as much control as possible, with Drake King staggered just enough for Myles to drag Drake over and onto his own shoulders in a fireman’s carry position! Drake hasn’t made any sudden movements while Myles may be reeling his opponent into a maneuver that’ll put Drake away—
Stew-O: BUT DRAKE’S RAKING THE EYES OF MYLES!! Myles is struggling here as Drake is able to squirm himself free and be saved from impending disaster while the sight of Myles has been impaired here! The referee didn’t have a good view of the eye rake either, yet here’s Drake King now placing Myles in position and HOISTING UP THE EAW HALL OF FAMER—MY GOD!!
Flannery McCoy: FALCON ARROW ONTO THE APRON!!!! MY GOODNESS!!! The falcon arrow just sent Myles right onto the toughest area of the ring, and he collapses down to the ringside floor as Drake King has just given himself ample control in this match!! Myles hasn’t made much movement but he’s also refusing to keep himself entirely immobile, which will certainly be a problem for Drake King if he refuses to do anything about it shortly!
Jake Mercer: Drake will not be one to just heed warnings and not see the inevitable coming, so now he’s rolling himself out of the ring and shifting his attention on keeping Myles from ever mounting a measure of offense!! Drake’s dragging Myles by his tights as he’s now got him back into a proper position here—AND NOW TOSSES MYLES INTO THE STEEL STEPS WITH ALL OF HIS UPPER BACK COLLIDING!! Myles has to arch outward as the pain is certainly showing itself all over his expression!
Stew-O: Drake now doesn’t waste time in tossing Myles back into the ring as he’s bringing himself back in as well, making sure that there is no posible count from the referee to be made in the time that they weren’t inside the ring! Myles is refusing to stay down, rising to his knee as he’s trying to keep himself from being controlled to a heightened level by his opponent—but his opponent happens to the fellow EAW Hall of Famer GRABS A HOLD OF HIS WRIST AND TURNS HIM AROUND DIRECTLY INTO A RIPCORD KNEE!! The knee connects right across Myles jaw as he’s absolutely dazed while Drake King aims for the cover!!!
ONEEEEEEEEE!!!
TWOOOOOOOOOO!!!
T—
Flannery McCoy: NOTHING YET! Myles is able to kick out as Drake immediately sits up, understanding it’s surely going to take much more than that in order to keep Myles down for the count! Now Drake is dragging Myles over to the ropes, and he’s keeping him leaned back against the bottom rope while proceeding to stomp down onto his chest without avail here!! Each stomp is becoming progressively more impactful than the last, and Myles is struggling to mount any considerable leeway here while Drake clutches onto the ropes for additional leverage!
Jake Mercer: But now here’s the referee counting down! Drake is taking advantage of every single second that he’s got here to make sure Myles stays in this treacherous situation for as much as he can make it so!! Eventually however, Drake does have to back away as now the referee is giving him quite the heavy scolding here for all of the tiresome time he spent with the stomps! Drake’s attention is swayed from Myles for only a moment, now returning back to Myles as he’s looking to deliver an EMPHATIC STOMP BEFORE HE COULD MOVE—
Stew-O: MYLES SPRINGS UP FOR A SUPERKICK RIGHT ACROSS DRAKE’S JAW!!! Drake is staggered to his very core as he’s now stirring in place while Myles is now able to create some breathing room for himself after being put through a considerable amount of strife! Drake is trying to keep himself in a proper stance here despite the superkick but it’s not looking as likely for Drake King to keep this up for long—AS MYLES FOLLOWS UP WITH A SNAP SAMOAN DROP RIGHT ONTO THE MAT!!! THE COVER!!!
ONEEEEEEEEE!!!
TWOOOOOOOOOO!!!
T—
Flannery McCoy: NO! KICK OUT!! Drake King is able to kick out and raise the shoulder as now Myles has to sit up and ponder on what to do next! The former World Heavyweight Champion is trying to return back to a proper stance despite all of the pressure that’s been placed upon him by Drake King, and he’s not looking to slow down while his opponent is still choosing to remain in this match! Myles sees that Drake is slowly willing himself upward to his own knees here, and this is the most ample opportunity for him to rush forward AND PURSUE THE ‘DRACO METEOR’ ONTO THE BACK OF HIS NECK—
Jake Mercer: DRAKE DUCKS!! Myles couldn’t connect with the maneuver as Drake was able to garner the necessary wherewithal possible in order to evade the attack without much of an issue there, but Myles is rolling himself back up to his feet as he’s turning himself around, keeping all of his focus on Drake King while he’s still trying to bring himself up as he’s rushing toward him again—BUT THE SLINGBLADE CONNECTS!!! DRAKE KING TAKES MYLES DOWN AS NOW HE’S GIVEN HIMSELF SOME MUCH NEEDED ROOM!!
Stew-O: Drake’s pushing to get himself back up while Myles has certainly been struggling to a much greater degree, and this is allowing Drake all of the time in the world to bring himself back over to Myles as he’s now looking to quickly hook his arms together as he’s now got Myles exactly where he needs him! Drake’s looking to send Myles crashing down onto the mat with the ‘ASCENSION’ PEDIGREE—
Flannery McCoy: BUT MYLES WILLS HIMSELF UPWARD AND MAKES DRAKE FLIP OVER—BUT HE LANDS ONTO HIS FEET!! Myles immediately turns as Drake’s eagerly looks to take Myles back down with a swift ENZIGURI—BUT MYLES DUCKS AS DRAKE’S NOW DOWN ON THE MAT & TRYING TO BRING HIMSELF BACK UP!!!
Jake Mercer: BUT NOT FAST ENOUGH!!! ‘DRACO METEOR’ LANDS RIGHT ONTO THE BACK OF DRAKE’S NECK!!!! Myles is able to take Drake back down with the double knees as his opponent is now down on the mat! Myles is hurrying himself over to Drake and hooking the leg here as the referee is sliding to the pin!!!
ONEEEEEEEEE!!!
TWOOOOOOOOOO!!!
THREEE—
Stew-O: NOT QUITE ENOUGH!! DRAKE KING IS ABLE TO KEEP THE SHOULDER UP AGAIN!! Myles nods to himself vigorously as he’s understanding what it’s gonna take to our Drake King down! Now he’s bringing himself back up while also dragging Drake up from the mat and looking to swiftly pull him into position here, not giving enough time for Drake to recover here as he shifts RIGHT INTO PUTTING AN END TO THIS MATCH WITH ‘DE FACTO’!!
Flannery McCoy: BUT DRAKE SHIFTS HIMSELF WITH HIS ARMS AROUND MYLES WAIST AS MYLES’ BODY HAS TO SHIFT AS WELL!! DRAKE LIFTS MYLES OVER HIS SHOULDERS AND RUSHES TOWARD THE CORNER.. BUCKLE BOMB!!! Myles is stirring after the buckle bomb as Drake is remaining on his own feet, pulling Myles right toward himself and placing him in position just before hoisting him UP—‘HEAVEN ON EARTH’!! BRAINBUSTER CONNECTS!! Myles is spiked onto his own head as Drake hooks the leg!!
ONEEEEEEEEE!!!
TWOOOOOOOOOO!!!
THREEE—
Jake Mercer: NO! NOT ENOUGH!! Now Drake King is bringing himself back up as he’s shaking his own head, refusing to slow down here as he’s keeping his gaze set on Myles! The three-time World Champion is raising his own head here as Drake King keeps his stance in place, grinning to himself as he’s now looking to garner another win over Myles BY RUSHING FORWARD AND SEEKING OUT THE ‘JUDGMENT DAY’—
Stew-O: BICYCLE KNEE STRIKE FROM MYLES BEFORE DRAKE COULD LIFT THE LEG UP!! Drake is absolutely dazed as Myles is now bringing himself up and looking to secure the win here, with Drake King ultimately stirring around the ring as now Myles is hoisting him up, and with a grip of his wrist… MYLES IS PULLING DRAKE KING RIGHT INTO HIS ARMS FOR DE-FACTO!!
Flannery McCoy: BUT DRAKE’S NOW CLUTCHING THE ROPE WITH A HAND!! MYLES IS TRYING TO PULL HIM AWAY ‘TILL DRAKE SENDS AN ELBOW DOWN ONTO MYLES’ SKULL! Myles has to toss Drake off as Drake is able to land on his feet but right before the referee, taking up his view while Myles is leaned beside the ropes here—
(SMACK!)
Jake Mercer: THE BRASS KNUCKLES ACROSS HIS SKULL!!! CY JUST BLASTED MYLES ACROSS THE SKULL WITH HIS BRASS KNUCKLES!! DRAKE WAS IN THE WAY OF THE REFEREE’S VISION!! Myles is in a prone position here as Drake sees no other better opportunity to TAKE ADVANTAGE—
Flannery McCoy: ‘JUDGMENT DAY’!!!! CURB STOMP CONNECTS AS DRAKE HOOKS THE LEG FOR THE WIN HERE!!!!
ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
(DING! DING! DING!)
Stephie Love: HERE IS YOUR WINNER… DRAAAAAAAKE KING!!!
Jake Mercer: Certainly a message sent from Cy Henderson as he wasn’t gonna allow Myles harsh words from just before the match to slip past him!
Stew-O: Drake is able to secure the win due to the assistance of Cy Henderson, as his brass knuckles would completely knock Myles off of his feet and translate in keeping him down for that count.
(‘When Darkness Falls’ can be heard throughout the arena as the referee raises Drake King’s hand in victory. Drake soon slides out of the ring, grinning to himself as he’s pleased with his victory while Cy Henderson slides into the ring. He stands over Myles, shaking his own head as he begins to sound off.)
Cy Henderson: (off-mic) You got your match, Myles! You’ll continue to get exactly what you deserve with another loss to your name!! Road To Redemption will not be your night where you prove yourself against me!! You got that?! YOU asked for this!
Flannery McCoy: Wow! Cy Henderson just accepted the proposed match at Road To Redemption against Myles! We’re gonna see an incredible battle in a few weeks time, and the heat has amplified after tonight!
Stew-O: Will be a great sight to see before long, and we thank you for joining us tonight right here on Dynasty! See you next week!
(Cy continues to stand over Myles, who is clutching his own head as the scene soon fades out from there.)
