(EAW intro plays.)
(House of Glass is over. After the classic EAW intro is presented, a recap of everything that unfolded last Saturday is presented to the viewers: Cy Henderson defeats Ronan Malosi in 10,000 Shards. Tyrone Montgomery is met by Kensingten-Calhoun Astor and John Conning, who tell him straight up that he will be suspended due to how he went about ‘harassing’ Kensingten. Tyrone, in a shocking image to everyone, is escorted out of the arena by security. The New Breed Glass TLC match happens next. It proves to be physical, so much so that Hans Grayson was declared medically unable to continue, thus paving way for a new champion. Michael Machina was the one who was able to get his moment of glory and revenge after hitting Drake Armstrong with his own ring and unhooking the title. Ronan Malosi and Albert Hitchman talk backstage, with Albert expressing is disappointment with Ronan failing to win. As such, he tells him that Andre wants him to leave the arena and stay away from his match with Jake Smith. Eden Sinclair comes in, wanting Ronan to give her full custody. He tears the paper up, getting all excited that “Andreya” will be raised right with the Kaiser helping her out because he will never not be delusional. In Glass Crypt, Ryan Wilson is able to stand tall, defeating his former friend and DOMINION partner Xander Payne after an emotionally charged clash. Theron Nikolas defeats Jay Jerry Johnson in a competitive and close Unlimited Lightubes match, becoming Interwire Champion and holding championship gold again after a four-year drought. Bea Valentine defeats Milli Banks, Rory Slate, and Delilah Rose in the fatal four-way Glass Ropes match for the Specialists Championship, ascending to new heights in her career as she is the one to stop Milli from breaking the record. Joso, Limmy Monaghan, Chris Elite, and Myles defeat KAI-ZEN in the Glass of Your Choice match, exacting revenge against the dangerous group that has raised hell all throughout Dynasty. After the match, Kensingten informs Limmy and Myles that they will compete to qualify in the EAW World Heavyweight Championship Extreme Elimination Chamber match at Road to Redemption against each other. She tells Chris that he will get the same opportunity against the loser of Bronson Daniels/SOSA Henderson. However, she gives Joso the cold shoulder. In the Glass Weapons match, Andre Walker is able to defeat Jake Smith, denying the latter the chance to get his revenge realized in the end. Kassidy Heart retains the EAW Universal Women’s Championship against Ms. Extreme after a brutal Red Wallz match. Finally, in the main event, Bronson Daniels and SOSA Henderson go to war in Glass Wallz. Bronson is able to retain the EAW World Heavyweight Championship.)
(The montage ends. Fading into the live shot of the Dolphins Arena in Nagoya, Japan, Friday Night Dynasty captures the crowd in attendance. The Asian tour reaches its penultimate stop, but that doesn’t mean the action is slowing down. The fans clap and cheer, looking forward to the fallout of House of Glass! Pyro goes off on the stage in a colorful display of red.)
(After the arena is captured in all its glory, the camera cuts to a shot of Stew-O, Jake Mercer, and Flannery McCoy standing by on commentary.)
Stew-O: What a night! What a show! House of Glass defied every single expectation many people had, and with the classic Dynasty free-per-view event making its return, it’s safe to say we had one hell of a homecoming! Every match delivered from bell to bell! Some Elitists got to score some of the biggest wins of their careers, while others came up short, having their own dreams and ambitions shattered. Either way, last weekend was an event, and tonight, here on Dynasty, we look to see what lies ahead in the aftermath!
Jake Mercer: Good news: the Kaiser came out triumphant! The bad news? Well, a certain storybook-ending merchant gets to remain champion for another day. 😔 You win some, and you lose some, but at the very least, Road to Redemption is coming! Three cheers for Bronson Daniels’ downfall before the new year!
Flannery McCoy: 🙄 Honestly, the more you try to discredit him, the more he proves to the world how truly deserving he is to be a world champion. Still, given the potential Elitists that could make it to the Extreme Elimination Chamber, there can be so many factors and different intangibles at play that could cause him to lose. Tonight, we have eight of them all vying for a chance to end the year on top, and five out of the eight attempting to qualify are all former world champions. Limmy. Myles. Chris. Jake. SOSA. They’ve been at the top before, and especially given that Jake and SOSA lost their respective matches, they’re looking to get one step closer to garnering back some gold.
Stew-O: Speaking of gold, House of Glass saw three new champions crowned: Michael Machina, Bea Valentine of Voltage, and Theron Nikolas. The New Breed, Specialists and Interwire Championships have their new holders seeking to create a new legacy for both the titles and their own selves.
Flannery McCoy: Hans was taken out of the match after getting severely hurt, rendering him unable to continue competing. Jay gave it his absolute all against Theron, but all it took was for the former Answers World Champion to stay a step quicker and catch him off guard to win. As for Milli, she was unable to break the record for the longest reign in the Specialists Championship’s history, just being a fraction of a second too late in breaking up the pin. Given the circumstances, I’m sure all three must feel some lingering disappointment seeing how close they were to retaining. However, none of them have anything to be upset over. Hans, Jay and Milli elevated their respective titles to new heights, and now, it’s only up for them. :wow:
Jake Mercer: You said it best, Flannery. All of them took the ball and ran far with it! However, their futures are all bright – just like the new champions. Michael and Theron already made it known that if they were to win, they wouldn’t take their feet off the gas. As for Bea, she put her money where her mouth was and became truly eternal. Being able to defeat Milli Banks is no small feat, and while she may not be a Dynasty talent, I’m personally looking forward to seeing her BEA the BEAst champion on Voltage! :whew:
Stew-O: Exciting times. The landscape has changed with those new champions at the forefront of EAW now. Jay Jerry Johnson at the very least gets to turn things around and find himself back in the main event picture as he takes on Ryan Wilson who saw his fortunes turn out favorably at House of Glass after defeating Xander Payne. Speaking of bouncing back though, Drake Armstrong and Rory Slate will compete tonight! They take on NOVA and Halyey Morrow respectively, who seek to gain some notoriety against two opponents who are coming off of having amazing performances in their own right at House of Glass!
Jake Mercer: Can’t forget the rest of the new guard! BRAE takes on Jordan Narzikis, while we have a triple threat match to look forward to as Cody Maverick, Taylor Vanity, and the debuting LILITH all face each other!
Flannery McCoy: And after them, we have our Extreme Elimination Chamber qualifiers! Aside from Jay and Ryan, we have Jake Smith taking on Prince Tohru! Chris Elite and SOSA Henderson clash! And in our main event, Myles takes on–
Jake Mercer: LIMMYEUHUWEFRHWRHFHWRJRGKTGKTGJHBVNRNGVNNRGVNWRNVNRVN!!!
Stew-O: :mjlol: Well, I’m certain many of the fans are just as excited! That’s four blockbuster matches, all of whom could be main events in their own right! But enough chatting! It’s time to get Friday Night Dynasty rolling!
(As if on cue, the arena lights dim briefly. ‘True Love’ by CFO$ then hits. Sienna Jade steps out, smirking as only she does best, with Kassidy Heart not far from her. The Universal Women’s Champion is moving slightly slower, but compared to last Saturday, she is in far better shape. Bruising on her nose is visible, though it isn’t a harsh shade of purple. Sienna takes her by the hand, and the two women head down to the ring, microphones already in hand.)
Stephie Love: Ladies and gentlemen, introducing at this time… THE JAAAAAADEEEED HEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARTS!!!
Stew-O: And how’s this for starting things off hot? The Jaded Hearts are here, undoubtedly looking to express some final thoughts heading into Wicked Games this Saturday!
Jake Mercer: Don’t you know it! These two are all about getting the attention, but when you’re two of the greatest Elitists to have ever stepped foot in EAW, they are more than entitled to do whatever they want, and show up wherever they want! POTARA had a good run as Unified Tag Team Champions, but the Jaded Hearts are their biggest challengers to date, and when you’re up against the Tag Team of THE Decade, there’s a good chance that you can lose!
Flannery McCoy: Both women have waited well over seven months for this match. Now, they’re determined to get those tag titles and get the moment they would’ve had at Pain for Pride. At least, that’s what they think anyway. :wow:
Jake Mercer: 🤨
(On the apron, Sienna sits down on the middle rope, allowing for Kassidy to enter. She follows behind the champion. Their theme music fades, allowing for the two of them to speak.)
(Kassidy is the first to talk.)
Kassidy Heart: Well… last week was fun. :troll:
Sienna Jade: It sure was! You were absolutely amazing, Kassi-Poo! It was great seeing you kick ass like a bloodied Wonder Woman and beat that charity case Camille all over the ring! 😍 Now that sorry, disgusting excuse for an Ava can stop crying about how you only got here because of your husband and how she was screwed out of beating you months back. She was never as good as you, and never will be.
Kassidy Heart: You said it, not me. At the very least, she did put up a fight. Right until the bitter end. However, Camille was never good enough to beat me at King of Elite, and she didn’t become much better by the time we faced each other last Saturday. She can no longer make any excuses. If she still wants to hold some form of weird grudge against me, then she can do so. I just won’t think of her anymore. She’s not relevant to me or my title reign, and she’ll be completely forgotten about when I go on to shatter her record just like how I shattered her at House of Glass.
(Kassidy grins. Some of the fans can be heard booing.)
Kassidy Heart: I get that some of you sheep may not like that idea. However, it’s a given. Gawd knows you people were already whining about how I’d never go on to be the longest-reigning Answers World Champion of all time, but look what happened. When you people said I’d never achieve more than I already have in my five-year career here and possibly top all that I’ve done, I did just that. I am not like some of these other, washed-up hall of famers who are better off heading for greener pastures. I always demand more, and this year, I am on the cusp of being a Grand Rampage winner, Pain for Pride main eventer, and a double champion. :wow: I’ve been able to create history. I have continued to outdo myself time and time again. So, why should I stop? Why would anyone here even think that they’re capable of stopping me? I am the greatest Elitist of all time, and I prove it each and every single time I step inside the ring. Last week was a testament to that, and in twenty-four hours, Wicked Games will be another one added to that list.
Sienna Jade: Look at my friend. She’s so amazing!
Kassidy Heart: Not as amazing as you. It can never be understated that we have a real chance of becoming tag team champions again thanks to you.
Sienna Jade: Aww, shucks! Kassi, you are too kind. However, when my best friend wants us to kill the competition and make these losers cry out of envy, how can I not strive to be the best in my own right? We’re both hall of famers, and of course, I’m the Greatest. Like Kassidy, I never stop striving to be at the absolute top of my game. Fat Whale Arrow and Shrimpy Lee may not get it because neither of them are top five, top ten, or even top twenty best Elitists in this company, but just because they drool about having a career like mine does not mean they get to have it, or that I should dial back and let them be great. To hell with that! If I didn’t care to be the best, then I wouldn’t have returned to active competition. I wouldn’t have been able to be a world champion again. I wouldn’t have been able to earn my first-ever win at Pain for Pride. I wouldn’t have been able to get Kassidy and I this match and having a real shot of becoming tag team champions, and in the process, have the most reigns with the High Rollerz. We get to make more history, this time with each other, and I am more than ready for that. Kassidy gets to be a double champion, I get to have gold around my lovely waist again, and the Jaded Hearts get to be at the top of Dynasty truly. Us! And when that happens, no one will be able to try and measure up to us. I mean, gosh, it’s been annoying as is seeing those two doofuses parade themselves around like they’re the second coming of us. 🤢 Might as well end the pretenders so that the real originals can shine!
Kassidy Heart: I’ve already said it all throughout this week, but Harper and Holly have grown far too arrogant. It’s not like they haven’t accomplished anything worthwhile. Like I said, especially to Holly, they grew as Elitists and have been slowly but surely shed their past reputations to be somewhat noteworthy within the competition here. However, they screwed up thinking that they were suddenly leaps and bounds ahead of us. Confidence is one thing, but when you stack up their resumes against ours… well, only one team should be able to walk around and declare themselves as the actual best in EAW.
Sienna Jade: And before you guys cry, you can check our resumes to when we’re at their level in our careers. 😉
Kassidy Heart: Exactly. I’m not gonna fault Harper or Holly for taking a while to string along a decent-enough career for themselves, but at the end of the day – and I can’t believe I’m saying this again, but just this time so that the point can be made abundantly clear – there are levels to this. Sienna and I held domain over the tag division just a little over a year since we came together. We’ve been able to make the most of our careers within the blink of an eye. We have done what Harper and Holly have already done or trying to accomplish. Seeing as how we’re both at the respective peaks of her careers this season, we’re going to surpass them. Beating them tomorrow night will prove that without question.
Sienna Jade: Maybe if Harper and Holly didn’t run their mouths off so much and ruined my match against that hack Ms. Extreme, then we’d be far kinder to those two. However, they did this to themselves. Those two tried to be a team that they weren’t, and now, we’re gonna expose them. I guess this would be the part where I said it’d be a shame, buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut…
(Sienna and Kassidy exchange looks.)
Sienna Jade: It’s not!
(The two laugh.)
Sienna Jade: I don’t feel bad one bit, and neither does Kassidy. They did this to themselves. We could’ve shown them just a but more respect if they weren’t so sensitive about losing their titles to us and exposing them for the frauds that they are, but they couldn’t be mature. They threw the first shot, and now they want to hide their hands behind them with their tails tucked beneath their legs. They want to cry and play victim, but they aren’t going to get away with it. They made their beds, so now, it’s about time they lay in them. They should get some new pillowcases too while they’re at it, because they’re going to weep so much about losing their precious wittle titles to us like the real brats that they are. They can’t accept the fact that they did too much against us, but it is what it is. Wouldn’t be the first time Kassidy and I had to humble some raggedy skanks. If anything, this is us back to form!
Kassidy Heart: Not even my kids are as bratty as them. :mjlol: Still, like Sienna said, it is what it is. Had they not started this whole thing, attacked us and robbed Sienna out of her rightful win, we would’ve approached this match far differently. I don’t even know how many more times I have to say that the people here ought to tread carefully with me, let alone Sienna and myself. We aren’t these past-prime Elitists you can walk all over and not expect any consequences to be coming your way. You mess with us, and we’ll come right after you. That’s why we made sure that neither Harper or Holly got far in the Iconic Cup. That’s why we took it upon ourselves to make sure they would no longer get the chance to brag about being undefeated as a team. We stripped them of their dignity, but they started it all off for us. We just finished it for them, and come tomorrow night, we will strip them of the Unified Tag Team Titles.
Sienna Jade: It’s so beautiful! So poetic! Everything we promised would happen did happen! It’s just about us securing our rightful titles from them. I personally can’t wait for Harper to freak out. One year ago, I took the Universal Women’s Championship from her, and in four months, I outdid what she did with the title… if we can even say she did anything with it at all. Now? A year later, not only is my tag team partner, friend, and eternal soulmate the champion, doing the title actual justice, but I get to embarrass Harper all over agan! Gosh, this is going to be the most humiliating loss of her career, and I couldn’t be any more excited. Call me petty, but when you play stupid games…
Kassidy Heart: You win stupid prizes. At the very least, our prizes will be the tag team championships.
Sienna Jade: And their prizes is being a second-rate Jaded Hearts who can never and will never be better than us. 🥰
Kassidy Heart: Many have tried, and many have failed. POTARA will just be a part of that long list of teams who couldn’t quite cut it. At least they’re slightly better than KAI-ZEN or Devolution, but when the bar is so low to the ground, is it even an impressive feat to clear it? :yikes:
Sienna Jade: Maybe not. 😳 But, at least they get to be the third-worst team in EAW, so hey, at least that counts for something!
Kassidy Heart: And at least we’ll never know what that feels like. We’re winning at Wicked Games, and we will re-solidify the fact that we are the greatest tag team in the history of this promotion.
Sienna Jade: Saturday can’t come any sooner!
(The two women smile at each other as their theme hits.)
Stew-O: Strong, confident words here from the challengers! Sienna and Kassidy are ready to win, and given all that they have been able to do, POTARA will have a huge task ahead of them tomorrow night!
Jake Mercer: Yeah, they do. Harper and Holly have been able to sit at the top of the tag team division since Grand Rampage, but that run could potentially come to an end at Wicked Games.
Flannery McCoy: Either way, that match is sure to be insane. We have two dedicated, competitive teams who are looking to beat each other. Harper Lee and Holly Arrow stand in the way of the Jaded Hearts’ reunion tour, but can they put a definitive end to it, or will it rage on with Kassidy Heart and Sienna Jade as the new tag team champions?!
(Kassidy and Sienna take their leave from the ring as Dynasty fades to commercials.)
(A promo package for Wicked Games plays, highlighting the Unified Tag Team Championships match between the Jaded Hearts and POTARA.)
(Dynasty returns and cuts to the backstage area, more specifically into the shared office space of Kensingten Calhoun-Astor and Richard Grant. Only Kensingten is seen as she is leaned against the desk and scrolling through social media on her phone. To say it had been an interesting week in EAW would be an understatement, but at least Tryone was no longer going to be an issue going forward. The thought of that brought a beautiful smile to Kensingten’s ruby red lips.)
???: There’s nothing better than seeing that smile on your face.
(Kensingten looked up and clutched at the pearl necklace around her neck. She batted her eyes as Richard Grant strolled in, shutting the door behind him.)
Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: Oh Mr. Grant! You are such a charming man. How can I not smile on such a beautiful night like this? We may be stuck in the God forsaken country of Japan, but Tyrone Montgomery is gone and that is a wonderful thing! Is it just me or did he just have this foul smell about him?
(Richard crossed to Kensingten and sat down in one of the chairs that were sat in front of the desk. He simply shook his head as he thought about their suspended colleague.)
Richard Grant: It’s all that afro-sheen stuff and cocoa butter those people use.
Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: Very true, and very unsettling. In my oh so humble opinion, all men should smell like you, Mr. Grant.
(Kensingten’s smile turned slightly flirtatious which got Richard a little fluster.)
Richard Grant: And what do you think I smell like?
Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: A nice little mix of spice and amber, with a hint of vanilla and patchouli… and sex.
(Richard’s eyes widened, a bit shocked at Kensingten’s boldness.)
Richard Grant: Pardon?
Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: You’re clearly wearing Gentleman by Givenchy. It is one of the most intoxicating colognes I have ever smelled.
(His look of surprise turned into an actual smile.)
Richard Grant: Impressive. For the record, I have always thought you smelled nice.
Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: Chanel No. 5, Mr. Grant. It’s a classic.
(Richard looked up at Kensingten, who was staring back at him. The look between them was intense, and there was no denying that.)
Richard Grant: A classic fragrance for a classic beauty. It’s fitting.
(A beautiful blush crept across Kensingten’s cheeks.)
Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: Did you just pay me a compliment, Mr. Grant?
(Richard stood up, and Kensingten stopped leaning on the desk. They were standing in front of one another and with a gentle hand, Richard reached up and tucked a strand of curly blonde hair behind Kensingten’s ear.)
Richard Grant: Please, call me Richard.
(Kensingten leaned into his hand and looked up at him through lowered lashes.)
Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: But I thought you liked it when I called you ‘Mr. Grant’?
(Richard took a step closer and placed his hands on Kensingten’s hips.)
Richard Grant: I do. Perhaps a bit too much.
(Kensingten bit down on her bottom lip, suddenly feeling a bit shy. For weeks, she had found herself thinking of Richard Grant more and more. Despite their significant age difference, the two had a lot in common. They both loved football, family, and took Jesus Christ as their savior. They shared a common interest in politics and rarely, if ever, disagreed about anything. As of late, the two had been talking more and more, sometimes into all hours of the night. Kensingten had started to grow very fond of Richard, and it appeared as if he was feeling a similar way.)
Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: Mr. Grant… Richard, I must confess that with your hands on my hips like this, I am feeling a little hot under the collar. You must know that I am a God fearing woman and I would never want to do anything that could be considered forward, or even scandalous…
Richard Grant: Kensingten, I am a gentleman, but I must confess that I believe you to be the most beautiful, striking, and intelligent woman that I have ever laid eyes on.
Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: That’s very sweet, Richard. You’ve always been the most respectful man, especially towards me. These last few weeks with you have been wonderful, and truthfully, I feel like I have found a new level of respect for you. You have always been the absolute best to work with. You have had my back and I know that you have just a love for this business that is just unfounded. That is exactly what Dynasty needs and now that we’re able to do things how we wish without that little twerp interfering, this brand is just going to be the absolute class of Elite Answers Wrestling.
(Kensingten’s baby blue eyes were filled with nothing but admiration and respect for Richard and she boldly placed her hands on his shoulders.)
Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: I have also come to know the man you are, and just how big your heart is. You have so much to give this world, Richard, and I am just tickled pink that you have chosen to give just a little bit to me. I have truly been as happy as a little bitty clam since we started working together and when it became clear that we shared a common enemy in that terrible Tyrone Montgomery, I just knew that you were the perfect partner for me.
Richard Grant: I must admit that I was a bit worried the difference in our ages would lead to conflict, but that hasn’t been the case. We get along wonderfully, and I have a hell of a lot of respect for you. As I have gotten to know you on a more personal level, my admiration for you has only grown. You have been through a lot and the fact your faith in the Lord has never wavered is something I hold in the highest regard. In fact, it was our conversation about our faith that made me start looking at you in a different light.
Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: Really?
(Richard lightly cupped Kensingten’s chin and tilted her face up towards his.)
Richard Grant: Really. You are as sweet as you are pretty; as smart as you are sassy. Your smile has the ability to light up that arena out there and absolutely nothing would ever shine any brighter. I’m proud to stand by your side and work with you, but more importantly, I am grateful I have gotten to know you.
(Standing up straighter, Kensingten brushed her lips against Richard’s weathered cheek.)
Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: As am I.
(It was almost as if time stopped for the two as they came to the realization that they cared very deeply for one another, and it wasn’t just on the professional level. Richard, who had his own zest for life, was even more rejuvenated by Kensingten’s bold and brash attitude, and her refusal to be anyone other than herself. He appreciated every aspect of her, and that was not an exaggeration. The old man was smitten and it appeared to him as if Kensingten felt the same way. He certainly liked the feel of her hands on his shoulders, and as he removed one hand from her, he brushed his thumb across her bottom lip.)
Richard Grant: Full disclosure?
(Unable to trust her voice at this present moment, Kensingten merely nodded. She felt butterflies in her stomach at the moment and her heart was racing. She wanted to stand on her tippy-toes and kiss the hell out of Richard, but the struggle to remain a lady always won out.)
Richard Grant: I like you, McKensingten Magnolia Calhoun-Astor.
Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: The feeling is most certainly mutual.
Richard Grant: Do I have permission to kiss you now?
Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: I thought you would never ask.
(In a tender display of newfound love and respect, Richard’s hands wound into Kensingten’s golden hair. His lips brushed hers, lightly at first, and then with more urgency. Kensingten’s hands slipped from his shoulders and clutched at his shirt, as she put everything she had into kissing Richard back. It was pretty clue that the last two people on Earth who should ever met had not only met, but become something else entirely.)
(As Richard and Kensingten kissed passionately, the fans inside the arena were beside themselves. They were full of vitriol as the two most hated people in professional wrestling continued to kiss, all but making their relationship more than just co-workers.)
(After a moment, Kensingten and Richard pull apart, both of them clearly affected. Kensingten’s lips were swollen and her face was flushed. Richard had to loosen his tie and unbutton the top button of his dress shirt. They stared at one another, trying to see if the other person had any regrets, but it was clear that this was meant to be. Richard took Kensingten’s hand and kissed it, before tucking it into his own.)
Richard Grant: I think this is the start of something beautiful.
Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: I think so too.
(Dynasty’s management team stand together, basking in the presence of one another, before the scene eventually fades to back to ringside.)
Stephie Love: This match is scheduled for…
Crowd: ONE FALL!
(“Dragon Fly” by Sharman’s Harvest fills up the arena as BRAE marches his way onto the stage. His menacing aura sends waves through the arena as he stares into the sea of people before he continues down to the ring.)
Stephie Love: Introducing first, from Bray County Ireland… Weighing in at 267 lbs… The Warrior King… BRAAAAEEEEEE!
Jake Mercer: Now BRAE is someone that has been a very deadly man to whoever they’ve sent his way. He’s dismantled about everyone he has faced and it’s not hard to see why. If tonight is a continuation of the pattern we’ve been seeing over these last few weeks, then his opponent is in for a bad day.
Stew-O: I can’t necessarily disagree. BRAE has been very dominant and nobody seems to have the ability to stop him. It’s going to take someone who is truly a warrior to take him down and we’ll see if his opponent is that warrior, or becomes another name kn the list of people BRAE has beaten.
(“All The Small Things” by Blink 182 hits the speakers as Jordan Narzikis makes his way to the stage. He nonchalantly taunts to the crowd before he walks to the ring.)
Stephie Love: Introducing second, from Dallas, Texas… Weighing in at 170 lbs… The Ferrari-Racing Playboy… JOOOORDAAAAAAN NARZIIIIIKIIIIIISSS!
Flannery McCoy: Here we have Jordan Natzikis. He’s known to be a lazy man on the outside but once the bells rings, he speeds up drastically and it’s ypur job to catch up with whatever speed he accelerates to. Will his sudden change in speed be what brings him victory over BRAE’s imposing dominance tonight?
Jake Mercer: Fast or not, BRAE is a killer inside that ring! When you are in that ring with someone like him and you can’t stay ahead, the slightest mishap costs you greatly. If Jordan is able to use that speed to keep the momentum in his favor, than maybe he’ll be able to. But he slips up even once and he’ll be sent home like the rest of BRAE’s opponents.
(Ding! Ding! Ding!)
Flannery McCoy: BRAE is just staring at Jordan who lazily starts to walk towards him. I think the Warrior King is taking offense to how his opponent is approaching this match because look at his eyes. If looks could kill, Narzikis would be a dead man right now!
Stew-O: It’s certainly not the brightest of ideas to make someone like BRAE mad, but maybe he has a plan up his sleeve that requires him to be so. A plan like suddenly speeding uo towards BRAE and going to town! Of course, when you lose your focus to anger, you don’t see it coming! Jordan is punching away at the head of the Warrior King!
Jake Mercer: BRAE puts his arms up to shield himself, but he is getting pushed into that corner before- WOAH! Did you just see that? A powerful push from the Irish wrestler just sent Narzikis rolling to the whole other side of the damn ring! That’s the dominance I was talking about!
Flannery McCoy: BRAE rubs his jaw to alleviate the pain from being hit with a series of punches. Narzikis seems to be lost as he crawls over to the opposite corner and starts pulling himself up. Wait, look at the Warrior King, he has his eyes locked on his opponent…
Stew-O: If Jordan turns around it’s going to be bad news! Narzikis goes to face towards BRAE- AND A NASTY “MORRIGAN” TURNS HIM INSIDE OUT! That Running Bicycle Kick wipes him out completely! BRAE already covering him.
OOOONNNEEEE!!!!
…
TTTWWWOOOO!!!!
….
THHHRRREEEEE!!!
(Ding! Ding! Ding!)
Stephie Love: Here is your winner…The Warrior King… BRAAAAAEEEEE!
Jake Mercer: I told you so! BRAE is untouchable and Jordan Narzikis was just another man who didn’t even do the skightest of damage to him. BRAE didn’t just beat him, he destroyed him in every way possible. Like I said, as soon as you allow BRAE to take the driver’s seat, it’s over. And he gave it to him for free for trying to use the power that BRAE got him beat in.
Stew-O: Well, this match did end very quickly and BRAE did just add another name to the list of people that didn’t stand a chance against him. If you are looking for someone that can be a big name in the future, he’s the man that stands victorious inside that ring right now.
(BRAE gets up from the cover without much reaction to the victory. His face says enough. He expected this and it ended up happening. The referee raises his arm, but BRAE quickly drops it and makes his way over to the back. The scene fades out to a shot of a defeated Jordan Narzikis who is still feeling the effects of that Morrigan that made him lose this match.)
(A commercial for NBA 2K24 plays, featuring Jake Smith rocking the classic 60’s Lakers gear. The blue and Converse sneakers were a vibe, to be honest.)
(Dynasty returns to the live feed. However, the fans aren’t pleased. The source of their ire? Kensingten Calhoun-Astor and Richard Grant. The two are making their way to the ring, bearing smiles that seem warm upon first glance, but really, there is a condescending nature behind their visage.)
Stephie Love: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome at this time to co-general managers for Friday Night Dynasty… Richard Grant, and Kensingten Calhoun-Astor!
(The fans do not, in fact, welcome them. Boos can be heard as the duo enter the ring.)
Stew-O: Last Saturday saw a shocking moment as Tyrone Montgomery was suspended by John Conning, EAW minoiry owner and the uncle of Kensingtoe. It’s been a tumultuous past few months with the three authority figures, but at House of Glass, Tyrone was the one who was reprimanded for his actions. John cited workplace harassment and general unprofessionalism, but many people, from fans to even some of the Elitists, don’t see it that way.
Jake Mercer: Tyrone sure was being snappy on social media, but even I was shocked by the decision! He’s no longer in power here! Just like that, in the blink of an eye, he was out of the arena, and we haven’t heard anything from him aside from one post on social media.
Flannery McCoy: To say that there has been an uproar over Tyrone’s suspension would be an understatement. However, nothing can be done. :wow: I feel as though Tyrone was just simply standing up for himself and that got twisted somehow, but what’s done is done. Richard and Kensingten have all of the power now as the two general managers for Dynasty. Seeing as how they always had different philosophies compared to Tyrone when it comes to this show, I’m sure they’re looking forward to see their own visions come to reality.
Jake Mercer: I’ll say, I think Richard and Kensingten at the very least have a good awareness for EAW and its product. Hopefully, they’ll put that keen wrestling sense to use and strip Bronson Daniels of the world heavyweight championship!
Flannery McCoy: Hopefully, they don’t! But… :lupe: They have made it clear many times before which Elitists have their attention and which Elitists they rather not have here. I can only worry what they may do now that Tyrone isn’t here to keep them in check.
Stew-O: Richard and Kensingten have always maintained they were brought in to bring balance to the product and any and all executive decisions made on Dynasty. Perhaps the EAW universe could be worried for no real reason, or that anxiety is justified. Either way, they both are in the ring, and they’re starting to speak.
(Richard looks around the arena and sighs.)
Richard Grant: Ah, Japan. I only ever competed here during a brief tour, but it is nice being back here.
(The fans cheer, albeit hesitantly.)
Richard Grant: The beer tasted like dirt. So too did the food. The women weren’t nearly as pretty as people made them out to be. But, it was an experience.
(And just like that, any sort of positive reaction the crowd had quickly vanished. Kensingten snickers.)
Crowd: BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: There sure are things to be desired… like manners. Seriously, aren’t you people supposed to be cute and meek like mice? I don’t recall Japanese people being so rowdy.
Richard Grant: A shame, ain’t it? However, we aren’t here you to berate you. As the two, proper general managers for Friday Night Dynasty, we oversee a lot of things, and it is our responsibility to ensure that everything goes smoothly here on this show.
Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: Mhm! You sure are right, Richard! Now, people may not respect us…
(Kensingten and Richard cut their eye at the fans.)
Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: But ultimately, we take our jobs seriously and with the utmost care and passion. Richard has decades of experience in this industry, and I have been a part of it myself firsthand. Even if I may not be an Elitist anymore, that does mean I don’t have a genuine love for this business or for this promotion as a whole. That’s why I was more than enthusiastic about this position, and I’m glad I get to be here along with Richard.
(A smirk briefly surfaces on the blonde’s face. Richard shares the same look.)
Richard Grant: Absolutely. House of Glass was a testament to that passion and care. It was a runaway success! Everyone couldn’t stop talking about it! Each match delivered and they’re still the talk of the wrestling town. Voltage and Showdown have a lot of expectations to exceed, that’s for darn sure!
(Then, Richard sighs.)
Richard Grant: Granted, it would’ve been better if Jay was able to retain that title, but Theron is a talent in his own right. At the very least, my boy can leave a huge impression tonight.
Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: And at the very least, he and Ryan have been presented with an opportunity that someone as corrupt and insensitive as Tyrone Montgomery wouldn’t have
extended to them.
(She scowls and scoffs, shaking her head. Richard follows suit.)
Richard Grant: Seriously, that boy wouldn’t know opportunity if it hit him right across his smug little face! That’s why he’s no longer here and will never be an authority figure of any kind! He just had to be selfish, disregarding our opinions and getting his knickers in a twist just because we tried to balance out his brash ideas.
Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: We were more than compliant with Mr. Montgomery. We did try to level with him. However, he’s made quite a few mistakes, comprismisng Dynasty’s image in the process. He was letting everyone call their own shots, he let talent risk themselves far more than needed in order to be ‘fighters’ and ‘dedicated’ to competing, and not only that, but he has continuously disrespected myself and Richard. These past few weeks were especially egregious. All that inappropriate chatter and insults towards me were not going to fly for any longer. If he wasn’t such a hot-headed, victim-minded fool, he’d still be here, getting to enjoy the success of this show. Instead, he pretty much kicked himself in the rear and out through the door.
(The fans boo, disagreeing with that notion.)
Richard Grant: Oh, don’t tell me you people are seriously sympathizing with that fool? He got what he deserved. If anything, he should’ve gotten the boot a long time ago, but that’s neither here nor there. With Tyrone out of the picture, Kensingten and I can make sure that Dynasty continues to run on a smooth ship from here on out. At the very least, he didn’t completely degrade the product. We can salvage certain things, and do what we can to make sure that Dynasty is undeniably the A-show from here on out.
Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: Given the critically acclaim House of Glass received, as well as how many people have been looking forward to tonight’s broadcast of Dynasty, we don’t want any of this momentum to go to waste. We’re gonna capatilize on it, and we’re gonna make sure that the road to Road to Redemption will be one worth travelling on.
(At the very least, the mention of the upcoming marquee event quells some of the fans, making them cheer in excitement for what will be a blockbuster show.)
Richard Grant: Oh, yes, we got many things we’re working on for that. Of course, we already have one of those plans in motion as tonight, we have four sets of qualifying matches for the Extreme Elimination Chamber taking place. However, we have one more that will occur at a later date, and trust me, it is one you do not want to miss.
Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: No kidding. Bronson Daniels has… done surprisingly well for himself as the EAW World Heavyweight Champion for the past two months. He has managed to defy the odds time after time, already racking up his fourth defense in just a span of sixty-nine days.
(The fans cheer, which starts to get on the two’s nerves. However, they force themselves to smile. Kensingten continues.)
Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: Suffice to say, Bronson has been able to get lucky so far, but the list of challengers isn’t getting slimmer. Dynasty is the true land of opportunity, and we want to make sure that those who will be competing for the title at Road to Redemption will have earned their spots with no sympathy or pity involved. You earn your keep here, and whoever manages to find themselves in the chamber match should be proud of themselves. Of course, the name of the game is to win the big thing, and who knows? Perhaps we will see a new champion crowned this time…
Richard Grant: It is going to be an exciting contest. Regardless of the five that make it in, that is a title match no one in their right mind would ever reckon to miss! All but seven of the men competing tonight have all been champions here, so they know the stakes and how high they are. That alone will make for some fine competition to see.
Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: Road to Redemption on our end is already shaping up to be great. However, that isn’t all. As I am sure all of you know by now, because of Sheridan Muller being out of EAW due to the injuries she suffered after being attacked by Chef Viz, the Cash in the Vault briefcase is no longer hers. As such, it is without an owner.
Richard Grant: Some people sure can be aggressive, huh?
Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: Showdown did have to deal with such absolute mess in back to back weeks. However! Not all is lost. Richard and I have been in contact with Kennedy since that particular incident occured, along with Captain Charisma. As much as this situation may not have been ideal, we have been able to come up with a solution that can solve this debacle.
(The fans look on, curious as can be.)
Richard Grant: Ah, look at those faces. You’re all dying to hear it, huh? Well, ain’t no sense in keeping the cat in the bag. All of us have agreed that after the Last Stand, there will be an eight-Elitist tournament to determine the NEW Cash in the Vault holder!
(The fans cheer loudly at the announcement. Kensingten and Richard smile.)
Stew-O: Oh my! A tournament!
Jake Mercer: Huge news there! What a way for the CITV briefcase to find its new holder, too!
Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: We know exactly how to turn lemons into lemonade. Of course, we want this tournament to finish as quickly as possible. The finals will conclude at Road to Redemption, where we will see who will be the new Mr. or Mrs. Cash in the Vault! We already have the participants we have in mind for the occasion as well, but you guys will have to wait a little longer for the tournament to start before you find out how will be a part of it.
Richard Grant: We have dealt with some unforeseen circumstances and changes, but that doesn’t mean we are ruined because of them. No. Take it from me and Kensingten when we say we know how to adapt with these changes. Road to Redemption is already shaping up to be a huge event, and quite frankly, you guys have us to thanks for it! We wanted to make sure that heading into this event, the paths were clear, and talent who are actually deserving will be showcased.
Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: Ha. Sure ain’t bad for a show that’s down one person, huh?
Richard Grant: And it’ll stay that way.
(A mixed reaction fills the air, as some fans are still excited while others aren’t apprecitiave of the well-known shade being thrown towards Tyrone Montgomery. Either way, Kensingten and Richard look proud of themselves.)
Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: And don’t worry, that won’t be all. In the next coming of weeks, we’ll be working closely together on getting more matches made. I suggest you continue to tune in. You definitely don’t wanna miss what we have lined up.
Richard Grant: But for now, that is all we have to say. Dynasty is in good hands. You’ll all come to accept that.
(Richard and Kensingten then bid the fans farewell as they leave the ring. More of that mixed reaction continues as they head up the ramp.)
Stew-O: Well, things have certainly gotten interesting! We have a tournament for the CITV coming up after The Last Stand!
Jake Mercer: An eight-person field. That means whoever gets to be a part of this will have to go all out, because no time is being wasted! We need a new holder for the briefcase, and we’ll find out who that may be at Road to Redemption.
Flannery McCoy: Kensingten and Richard have gotten some hype to generate here! I definitely look forward to the tournament. But, that isn’t the only noteworthy thing. We have one more EEC qualifying match, which will more than likely take place next week! I wonder who else may compete to get that final spot?
(As the two general managers make their way up the ramp, Dynasty fades elsewhere.)
(As the camera fades back into the backstage area, Michael Belfort would be seen with a microphone in hand, a smile on his face.)
Michael Belfort: Ladies and gentlemen, please help me welcome my guest at this time; he was the man who had finally put an end to a partner who once betrayed him at House Of Glass just last week, he is… RYAN WILSON!!!!!!
(The crowd in the arena would cheer loudly, as Ryan Wilson would then enter into the frame. He had a smile on his face as well. He looked bandaged and battered up after the hell and back he had gone through last week against Xander at House Of Glass, but he looked happy, and satisfied.)
Michael Belfort: Thank you for joining me tonight, Ryan!
Ryan Wilson: It’s my pleasure!
Michael Belfort: So, we all know the hell and back that you have had to go through in the previous weeks; the ending to DOMINION due to the betrayal by Xander Payne, of course, the weeks that would follow leading into the inevitable match at House Of Glass, where you were finally able to put an end to it once and for all! How did that win at House Of Glass feel? How did finally put an end to weeks of torture by Xander Payne feel for you, Ryan?
Ryan Wilson: I’m not going to lie to you Michael, I am feeling great. Truthfully. I have been through so much here in EAW, and being able to finally defeat someone the caliber of Xander Payne, and especially after the way that he put an end to DOMINION, it felt great. I felt pleased with the outcome. That I was able to defeat him once and for all. Honestly I have said it an awful lot as it is, but, it was a damn shame Xander was willing to ruin their partnership the way that he did, because I was always someone who looked out for the both of us. It was because of him, and it was because of DOMINION, where I finally felt like I could trust someone, that I could make friends, but, at the same time, I learned a lot from Xander. I learned a lot from him, and from DOMINION… like how to kick ass and put down someone who tries to humiliate me. Xander tried to humiliate me, and I used his own teachings against him at House Of Glass, and I did it in the best way possible, suffering a defeat to Ryan Joseph Wilson.
Ryan Wilson: I always thought about us instead of being selfish. I always thought about myself and Xander, I always thought about DOMINION. I never thought about only myself, because I couldn’t, not after what he has made me learn. And while at first, it did hurt when Xander betrayed me, when he decided to put an end to a partnership that had made me grow into a better person, in the end, he looked like the biggest moron of them all. I was able to beat him, I was able to shatter – House Of Glass pun intended – his hubris, and now, he can’t continue to run his mouth about being the one who tried to pick up the slack or was the superior person in DOMINION all along.
Michael Belfort: With that in the rear view mirror for you, what are you looking to do moving forward?
Ryan Wilson: The bridge had been burnt between myself and Xander, and as much as it pains me to have to say that, I am looking to cross another one now, and I am eager to qualify for the Extreme Elimination Chamber. I had a shot at the World Heavyweight Championship a little while ago during this season, and even though I lost, I now get to have another shot at fighting for the gold, and unlike Xander, I’ve been able to genuinely earn this chance, too. Oops! You see, the World Heavyweight Championship means a lot to me. I have never been able to claim a reign with the gold, with any world title for that matter, and I am looking to make that change. I am looking to walk into the Extreme Elimination Chamber at Road To Redemption, go through each and every single competitor – including the champion himself – and finally become a world champion once and for all. But first, much like I said… I need to qualify to get that chance, and to do that, I need to go through the former Interwire Champion himself.
Ryan Wilson: Truthfully, I respect Jay Jerry Johnson, a lot, I really do. And I know that this match is important to the both of us, but-
(But, before Ryan had a chance to further continue… BAM!)
Stew-O: OH COME ON!!! WHAT THE HELL?! I THOUGHT THIS WAS OVER BETWEEN THE TWO OF THEM, BUT XANDER PAYNE JUST CAME OUT OF NOWHERE AND SLAMMED A STEEL CHAIR INTO THE BACK OF HIS FORMER PARTNER!!!
Flannery McCoy: RYAN FALLS TO HIS KNEES, AND XANDER IS GOING TO CONTINUE THE ONSLAUGHT EVEN FURTHER, SLAMMING THE STEEL CHAIR INTO RYAN OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN! RYAN IS SCREAMING OUT IN AGONY, AND HE CAN’T PROTECT HIMSELF!
Jake Mercer: This is uncalled for! Xander quickly picks Ryan back up to his feet by the hair and grabs him by the head… BEFORE HE THROWS HIM BACKWARDS AND SENDS HIM INTO THE INTERVIEW SET!! RYAN IS DOWN, BUT XANDER YANKS HIM BACK UP, INTO A POWERBOMB POSITION…
(CRAAAASHHH!!)
Stew-O: AND A POWERBOMB RIGHT THROUGH A TABLE! RYAN IS OUT COLD, AS HE GOES THROUGH THE TABLE AND CRASHES BELOW INTO THE CONCRETE FLOOR; LOOK AT THE LOOK ON XANDER’S FACE!
Xander Payne: (off-mic) THIS ISN’T OVER UNTIL I SAY IT IS OVER! YOU HEAR ME?! YOU DON’T GET A SAY IN THIS CONCLUSION, I DO!
(Xander looked to continue the onslaught, but would back away as he saw medical rushes over to the scene. He smirked, walking away as the medical team would help Ryan, and they would help him to his feet, hurriedly taking him to the trainer’s room as the camera fades out from there.)
Stephie Love: Ladies and gentlemen… The following contest is a Triple Threat Match, scheduled for ONE FALL!!!
Crowd: ONE FALL!!!
(“Lord Knows” by Drake ft. Rick Ross filling the arena! Cody Maverick came stomping out, making his way to the ring. A look of confidence and ego that has been expected from this superstar.)
Stephie Love: Introducing his opponent… From Las Vegas, Nevada… Weighing in at 235 pounds… He is the “Sin City Superstar”… CODYYYYYYYYYY MAVERIIIIIIIIIICK!!!
Jake Mercer: Things just got 10x more exciting when his music hit! One of the brightest stars on Showdown looking to put more stock in his name in a place that he is very familiar with.
Flannery McCoy: He definitely has the experience but that doesn’t mean he is obvious, we have two other competitors that are ready to leave a mark by any means necessary. Do you think Cody Maverick has what it takes to overcome them?
(Cody gets into the corner and his music fades out as “Something Real” by Post Malone starts to fade in — Taylor Vanity steps out from the back, hyping herself up on the ramp before marching down to the ring.)
Stephie Love: “AND HIS OPPONENT…FROM LAKEWOOD, CALIFORNIA…WEIGHTING IN AT 129 POUNDS…TAYLOR VANITY!”
Flannery McCoy: Taylor Vanity is one of the most resilient competitors on the roster, she is willing to go the mile to try to secure a victory for herself. Not someone to sleep on if I was a competitor in this match.
Steve-O: You can say that again, we have seen Vanity bounce back from strikes and impacts that would put people down with one hit! You know when she comes out, she’s bring her best.
(Taylor stares down Cody for a moment, before getting into her corner. Her music would then fade, and “What Makes You A Man” by The Ninth Wave would start playing. LILITH steps out on the stage, slow and methodical. The crowd is not sure what to make of her.)
Stephie Love: “AND THEIR OPPONENT…FROM RED DEVIL, ALASKA…WEIGHTING IN AT 113 POUNDS…LLLLLLLIIIIILLIIIITTTTTH!!!!!”
Jake Mercer: She calls herself “The Queen of the Damned”, what a nickname and her presence really makes me believe she is what she says she is. Dangerous. But we can’t just go off of looks, we have to see what she does in that ring.
Flannery McCoy: The debut match is one of the most important matches in someone’s career, it’s always about making the case for why you should be here and so it should be taken with as much seriousness as a World Championship match.
(DING! DING! DING!)
Flannery McCoy: The match is on its way and this is going to be another great Triple Threat match, though this isn’t Cody Maverick’s first rodeo! He has been known for being cunning and sly when it comes to matches like this— AND IT SEEMS LIKE HIS OPPONENTS KNOWS THIS! Going straight after Cody! LILITH scratches at the eyes and Taylor kicks his midsection! Getting him back into the corner! It isn’t looking good for the “Sin City Superstar”!
Steve-O: The key to winning the match is knowing who the biggest threat is and getting rid of it, which allows your odds to become 50/50. BUT YOU SHOULDN’T COUNT OUT CODY, LEFT AND RIGHTS TOWARD LILITH AND TAYLOR! Both of them stumble back, Cody is now out of the corner! Maverick is getting in his element, dropping LILITH with a CLOTHESLINE! Turning to Taylor— TAYLOR GOES FOR A FOREARM! MISSES, TRIPPING UP BUT GETTING CAUGHT BY CODY!
Jake Mercer: CODY USING HIS STRENGTH TO CONNECT WITH A WHEELBARRELL SUPLEX! That’s going to hurt in the morning. With all this momentum, it seems Cody isn’t worried about opposition. Taking the time to taunt the crowd and the opponents in the ring. You know what? If I knew I was this far ahead. I would relish this moment too, a nice breath of air is always needed in a match like this—
Flannery McCoy: But it shouldn’t be enjoyed for too long! LILITH comes out of nowhere with a DROPKICK TO THE KNEES! Cody slammed face-first into the mat! This is why you can’t take your eyes off anyone. Cody is learning that the hard way! LILTH stalking Cody— OH! A SOCCER KICK TO THE FACE! THAT HAD TO HAVE CRACKED HIS NOSE! DID YOU SEE THAT IMPACT?
Stew-O: I’m sure the people in the nosebleeds heard it, LILITH is showing her brutality! If this is what we should expect from her then I feel remorse for anyone who steps into the ring with her. Especially Cody and Taylor, who have to be the example set going forward. So my guess, expect more of that.
Jake Mercer: Well LILITH is looking to add another reason to take her seriously here on Dynasty— CODY POPS OUT! GRABBING THE HEAD AND NAILING LILITH WITH THE DDT! SPIKING HER TO THE MAT! MAVERICK IS NOT ONE TO BACK DOWN! That impact looks good enough for a cover…
ONE!
TWO!!
Flannery McCoy: Taylor with the SAVE! BREAKING THE PIN! Getting herself back involved with this match, she refuses to be overshadowed! Cody attempted to get up but TAYLOR BEATING ON HIS CHEST WITH STIFF KICKS! One after the other! Harsh music is being played tonight! STEPPING BACK FOR A HARD KICK TO THE SKULL! Cody HAS to be done! With how many hits he took to the head, I wouldn’t be surprised if he forgets he’s on a match right now! Oh, look TAYLOR GOING FOR A PIN!
ONE!
TWO!!
THERE—
Stew-O: NO WAIT! LILITH DRAGS HER OFF! Taylor possibly had this match in the bag! Both of them stared each other down, arguing but it seemed like fair play. Was she just expecting LILITH to let her— OH THEY ARE GOING BACK AND FORTH! LEFT AND RIGHT FOREARMS! THESE TWO ARE NOT GOING TO LET THIS VICTORY SLIP THROUGH THE FINGERS!
Jake Mercer: A JUMPING KNEE STRIKE, SENDING TAYLOR BACK INTO THE ROPES— REBOUNDING INTO A KNEE STRIKE OF HER OWN! TAKING LILITH DOWN! Taylor is feeling herself and she is not about to stop until her hand is raised! Bouncing off the ropes, SHE CONNECTS WITH A SLIDING CLOTHESLINE! TAKING LILITH DOWN! HOOKING THE LEG!
ONE!
TWO!
THREEEEEEEE—
Flannery McCoy: ANOTHER KICK OUT! Taylor looks shocked but she HAS to stay focused and think about what moves she can do that can end this match…and I think she knows what that move is. Dragging her closer to the corner, we know what it means when Taylor goes high! Looking for the death-defying “SNAPSHOT!” FLYING THROUGH THE AIR AND— LANDS ON THE KNEE OF LILITH! THAT HAS GOT TO HURT! BUT LILITH IS QUICK TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF—
Stew-O: NO WAIT! CODY MAVERICK WITH THE “LIGHTS OUT SUPERMAN PUNCH! OUT NO WHERE! KNOCKING LILITH OUT OF THE RING! HE’S PICKING UP THE SCRAP, NAILING TAYLOR WITH “SIN CITY STUNNER” AND A PIN!
ONE!
TWO!!
THREEEEE!!!
(DING! DING! DING!)
Stephie Love: HERE IS YOUR WINNER…The “Sin City Superstar”… CODYYYYYYYYYY MAVERIIIIIIIIIICK!!!
Jake Mercer: Some might call it a highway robbery but that was a stroke of genius, picking your spot and cashing in. That is why he is on the rise, he is smart and knows how to play the game.
Flannery McCoy: Both LILITH and Taylor showed their passion tonight and had it not been for that last-second interception, who knows what the results would have been? Congratulations to Cody Maverick!
(Cody Maverick gets his hand raised, smiling at the camera as he continues to mouth off. The camera cuts to LILITH sitting outside of the ring, gripping her jaw and looking at Maverick celebrating as the scene fades to black.)
(A commercial plays for the Korn x Adidas collaboration set, featuring Milli Banks wearing the iconic purple tracksuit. We’d tell you to order yours, but they’re already sold out. 🥴)
(Friday Night Dynasty comes back from a brief commercial break as the camera focuses on the backstage area of the Dolphins Arena. From there, the shot focuses on Milli Banks as she is seen seated on a production crate on her phone. Despite what happened last week, she doesn’t seem shaken up at all, but it’s clear there may be some internal thoughts about losing the Specialists Championship that she may not say out loud. But before it can really get into that, Milli’s train of thought is broken by a voice heard in the distance.)
???: Cancun sounds great right about now.
(Milli turns, raising an eyebrow, as the camera pans over to reveal Ms. Extreme as she makes her way into the scene. The crowd erupts loudly as two of Dynasty’s biggest female Elitists find themselves face-to-face. Not trying to suspend disbelief, Milli grows a smirk on her face, there seems to be no malice between the two despite the abrupt confrontation, in fact they have a reason to sympathize with one another.)
Milli Banks: Surprised to see you here.
Ms. Extreme: Me too, considered a week off to nurse my wounds but decided I was fine enough to at least show up, happen to stumble into you. Sorry to hear what happened at House of Glass.
Milli Banks: Don’t feel the need to, shit, the fact that I even got that close to becoming the longest reigning Specialists Champion is something that I can look back on positively despite all of this. Shout out Andrea, prayers to Brody, I wanted to make them proud, but I came up short and I guess that’s something I’m just going to have to live with.
Ms. Extreme: I know how it feels.
Milli Banks: Ah, no you don’t. Don’t slight yourself because of this loss, that’s recency bias. Have you not forgotten that you were the one that became the longest reigning Universal Women’s Champion? I mean, it may have been so long ago that you just so happened to forget, not really accomplishing anything in between, but hey, that’s something to hang your hat on.
(Ms. Extreme raised an eyebrow for a brief moment. Did Milli really mean that? She shook her head, quickly responding.)
Ms. Extreme: Make no mistake about it, you’re someone who has earned their flowers for what they’ve been able to accomplish in such a short time. You got close to breaking a record that is so highly touted in EAW that there is absolutely no reason not to credit you as one of the many people who are going to lead this company to the future… of course that number would’ve been cut down if you were still Champion and actually did break the record, butttttttt…
Milli Banks: Huh?
Ms. Extreme: No, no, try not to take this the wrong way, this is valid criticism that you need to hear. Take it from someone who isn’t going to lose to a rookie in a match with a win that was basically handed to them on a silver platter, you need these losses in order to succeed and that’s what I expect you to do. Especially in this stage of your career that is something that you are bound to do. I am sure that getting this close but failing right at the finish line will be a valuable lesson for you.
(Milli nods her head, alright, guess this is the game that they’re playing then.)
Milli Banks: Yeah, I don’t want there to be any confusion, I look back at my Specialists Championship win with pride. EAW is a constantly growing company, and with that comes fierce competition from all angles that continues to raise the bar for what this is all about. I understand how increasingly hard it is to win a Championship under those conditions, example being you considering you’re not able to get the job done most of the time when you have opportunities like these handed to you, and I’m pretty damn grateful that I even got a chance to hold that title while I had the opportunity myself. I adored the perks of being a Champion, I’m sure that is something very relatable to you as shown through your performance at House of Glass of course. Good try by the way!
(Ms. Extreme pauses, taking a moment to think about what she is going to say next.)
Ms. Extreme: Now apparently I might not be a professional, but I’m telling you that with the years of experience that I have under my belt, it might be in your best interest to listen to what I have to say before you get all defensive like this and continue to spout baseless claims. You lack the killer instinct, the drive, and that probably contributed to why it ended the way that it did. You did put your best foot forward, but that’s not saying much considering you wasted your Pain For Pride on a match against-
Milli Banks: Alright, I think that’s enough.
(The tone completely shifts from what it was at the beginning of the interaction, with Milli pushing herself off the production crate that she’s seated on and finding herself face-to-face with Ms. Extreme. Both of them expected this to happen if they continued to egg the conversation on, and it’s clear that if there wasn’t tension before, there definitely is. Ms. Extreme, as per, has a no-fucks-given attitude right now, and has no regrets about anything that she said given what Milli has said as well.)
Ms. Extreme: You think losing to Bea Valentine was bad? Try me, and you’ll see just how bad things can get when you fuck with me.
(Milli doesn’t say anything, keeping a stern expression on her face as Ms. Extreme swiftly moves past her, ending the conversation abruptly with a shoulder check. Milli is not at all happy about how things have managed to escalate, and the only thing she can really find herself doing is shaking her head before then turning around and heading the opposite direction. It’s the last shot seen before Friday Night Dynasty from there begins to fade out to elsewhere.)
(A commercial plays for EAW 2K24, with a montage commemorating Brody Sparks being the cover star for the Legends Edition of the game. Icons only.)
(‘Sun Killer’ by Spiritbox begins to play through the speakers as NOVA comes out with an almost a mystic aura to himself. There is an intense look on his face as he makes his way down the ramp.)
Stephie Love: THE FOLLOWING MATCH IS SCHEDULED FOR ONE FALL!!!!
Crowd: ONE FALL!!!!!!
Stephie Love: INTRODUCING FIRST…WEIGHING IN 190 POUNDS….NOVA!!!!!
Jake Mercer: Not much is known about him. So I decided to do my research. This man escaped from a cult, guys. We talking Manson Family, Jonestown, Scientology, Swiftie—
Stew-O: You were not going to compare the last one to a cult with delusional leaders, right??
Jake Mercer: Now, hear me out —
Flannery McCoy: Absolutely not, Jake. NOVA faced KAI-ZEN a few weeks ago on Dynasty, but it didn’t go so well as Cody Maverick found himself looking at the stars. NOVA blamed Cody for the loss.
Jake Mercer: NOVA shouldn’t belittle himself to weaklings like Cody. NOVA is pretty well known in the independent wrestling scene. He’s been establishing himself there. He’s hoping for the same result and who knows? Maybe, defeating Drake Armstrong will solve everything for him.
(‘Pride and Arrogance’ by Takeru Kanazaki begins to play through the speakers as Drake Armstrong comes in the back, looking all smug and regal as he makes his way down the ramp.)
Stephie Love: INTRODUCING HIS OPPONENT…FROM SCARSDALE, NEW YORK…WEIGHING IN AT 260 POUNDS…HE IS ‘THE FUTURE’…DRAKE ARMSTRONG!!!!!
Stew-O: Drake Armstrong fell short in capturing the New Breed Championship at House of Glass in a Glass Tables, Ladders and Chairs match, which was one by Michael Machina, but he refuses to revel in the loss. Instead, it’s going to make him more fierce going into this match.
Flannery McCoy: Drake Armstrong has all the potential to be someone great. A future champion, but he’s such a nasty person…
Jake Mercer: You have to be nasty to get things done, Flannery. That’s how champions are built. While it was Michael’s night at House of Glass, it will be Drake’s moment at some point. I just know it.
(DING! DING! DING!)
Flannery McCoy: AT THE SOUND OF THE BELL, DRAKE ARMSTRONG LOOKS TO CONNECT WITH A BIG BOOT, HOPING TO SEND NOVA DOWN! OOOOONNNNNEEEEE!!!!
Stew-O: NOVA with a quick count out! He can’t find himself throwing in the towel so soon into the match! Don’t give someone like Drake Armstrong that satisfaction! Drake finds his way up to his feet as he grabs NOVA up to his feet! He grabs NOVA by his waist and slowly, but surely, takes him up and back with a German suplex! But, NOVA manages to land on his feet! BEFORE DRAKE CAN FIND HIMSELF TO HIS FEET, NOVA CONNECTS WITH A DOUBLE FOOT STOMP ON THE STOMACH OF DRAKE! NOVA STALKS DRAKE UP TO HIS FEET BEFORE CONNECTING WITH A CALF KICK TO DRAKE’S STOMACH! NOVA REBOUNDS HIMSELF OFF THE ROPE TO CONNECT WITH A HURRICANRANA AS HE TAKES DRAKE DOWN! But, you can see that Drake is finding a way back to his feet! But, NOVA connects with a dropkick as he sends Drake to the ropes! NOVA runs after him with a wicked knee strike before getting him by the neck and following that up with a bulldog!
Flannery McCoy: NOVA manages to get Drake Armstrong into a headlock! NOVA drops down to one knee before wrenching in the headlock, applying more pressure onto the hold! Drake is trying to find his way back to his feet! He is trying to push NOVA away from him! But, NOVA breaks himself free! He goes back before sending himself forward and connecting with a giant boot to the side of Drake’s face! Drake stumbles down to one knee before NOVA connects with a dropkick that sends ‘The Future’ to the outside! BUT, NOVA DOESN’T LOOK LIKE HE IS GOING TO HAVE HIS TIME WASTED! Jake Mercer: NOVA BEGINS TO MAKE HIS WAY TO THE TOP TURNBUCKLE AS HE BEGINS TO STALK DRAKE ARMSTRONG UP TO HIS FEET! DRAKE IS STARTING TO GET TO HIS FEET AS NOVA CONNECTS WITH A SPRINGBOARD CUTTER — FROM THE TURNBUCKLE TO THE APRON AS DRAKE EATS THE EDGE OF THE APRON! ‘CENTER OF THE UNIVERSE’ ON DRAKE! :damn: Now, that was an impressive spot there! Drake falls down to the floor once more as NOVA looks to get Drake up the apron and back inside the ring! NOVA slides inside the ring soon after and I think that he could have it here?!?!
OOOOOOONNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!
TTTTTTTWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!
Stew-O: Drake Armstrong with a kick out! NOVA begins to slam his hands against the canvas! He is more than looking forward to adding a win to that nearly empty column of his. Imagine if he manages to defeat Drake Armstrong, someone who had just competed for the New Breed Championship last weekend?
Flannery McCoy: It would be amazing for NOVA, who has been trying to gain some traction for himself. NOVA finds his way up to his feet and he looks to get Drake Armstrong back to his feet! He gets Drake onto a fireman’s carry position! He’s planning to drop ‘The Future’ with the emerald Flowsion, but Drake manages to slide off the move and stand behind NOVA NOW, WE SEE THAT DRAKE IS TRYING TO SHIELD THE EYES OF NOVA, WHO IS TEMPORARILY BLINDED AT THE MOMENT! HE MANAGES TO GIVE HIMSELF SOME TIME TO THINK ABOUT HIS NEXT APPROACH! Drake looks like he’s going to apply the ‘Bourgeois Bite’ once more, but NOVA manages to slide out of position at the last minute! He tries to connect with a side hand chop to the chest of Drake, BUT DRAKE MANAGES TO GRAB ONTO THE HAND OF NOVA! HE MANAGES TO TURN HIMSELF AROUND BEFORE CONNECTING WITH A ‘NATURAL TALENT’ — A BEAUTIFUL HALF-NELSON, HALF-CHICKENWING SUPLEX! DRAKE GOES FOR THE COVER ONCE MORE!
OOOOOONNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!
TTTTTWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!
Stew-O: NOVA with a kick out! But, Drake Armstrong realizes what he is going to need to do in order to put NOVA down! He’s been letting NOVA gets his shots in! It’s been a unique strategy to go with. Drake connects with a series of punches to NOVA’s face! NOVA is trying to block each shot to the face! He has NOVA by the wrists as he rolls himself on top of Drake! NOW, IT’S NOVA WHO IS GETTING THESE SHOTS IN! HE IS UNLOADING ON PUNCHES ON ‘THE FUTURE!’ DRAKE IS TRYING TO SQUIRM HIS WAY OUT OF THE SITUATION! THE TWO ELITISTS FIND THEMSELVES TO THEIR FEET AT THE SAME TIME! A SIDE HAND CHOP TO NOVA! A SIDE HAND CHOP TO DRAKE! ANOTHER ONE TO NOVA! ANOTHER ONE TO DRAKE! DRAKE! NOVA! DRAKE! NOVA! DRAKE! NOVA! He connects with a leaping corner clothesline — but Drake manages to get himself out of the way! NOVA crashes to the corner as he slowly begins to back away. HE SLOWLY DROPS DOWN AS DRAKE, OUT OF NOWHERE, CONNECTS WITH A RUNNING FRONT DROPKICK TO NOVA’S ABDOMEN! ‘HALBERD FROM HELL’ CONNECTS AS DRAKE CONNECTS WITH THE COVER!
OOOOOOONNNNNNNEEEEEEEEE!!!!!
TTTTTWWWWWWOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!
TTTTTTHHHHHHHRRRRREEEEEEEEE!!!!!
(DING! DING! DING!)
(‘Pride and Arrogance’ begins to play once more as Drake Armstrong rolls off of NOVA. NOVA rolls out of the ring, disappointed as he’s being helped by the referee at ringside.)
Stephie Love: THE WINNER OF THIS MATCH…DRAKE ARMSTRONG!!!!!
Jake Mercer: Drake Armstrong bouncing back from his loss at House of Glass. This was exactly what he needed to make sure that his path to Road to Redemption is a good one!
Stew-O: It was an excellent effort from NOVA, but Drake is someone who can connect with their finisher at any moment. It’s always something that people need to keep a good eye on when facing him.
(The last shot is of Drake Armstrong celebrating in the ring before Dynasty fades elsewhere.)
(The camera cuts backstage to the KAI-ZEN locker room, prompting boos from the audience in Nagoya, Japan. Every member can be seen wearing an expensive suit, standing side by side, stoic expressions on their faces, focused on Ricky, who paces back and forth in front of them, clearly a lot on his mind following House of Glass. The usual calm, calculating, and condescending nature of Ricky has been replaced with genuine frustration and disappointment.)
Ricky: Guys, there’s no beating around the bush here. I’m not happy. I’m not happy, and you can probably guess why. I mean, at House of Glass, you came up short. You, an actual team, lost to Joso, Limmy Monaghan, Myles, and Chris Elite. A makeshift team, who couldn’t care less about one another. Mind explaining to me how that happened?
(Ricky waits for answer briefly, but after getting nothing in response, begins to speak up once more.)
Ricky: Fine, don’t answer me. Just stand there, and listen. Listen good, because I don’t want to have this conversation again, I don’t want to have to repeat myself. Sure, you were up against three formers World Champions, and sure, you were up against a former Interwire Champion. But for one second, do you think I doubted this team? Do you think I doubted this team, and its ability to get the job done? No. I didn’t, because I expect nothing short of greatness from you, Mitsu, from you, Shinzo, from you, Mig, from you, Tohru, from KAI-ZEN as a whole. And trust me when I say, I will stop at nothing… NOTHING to help us achieve the greatness I know you’re capable of…
(Ricky’s pacing comes to an end, and there is a stern tone that comes from Ricky as he speaks up again.)
Ricky: Even if I have to take this team, restructure, and remold it time and time again until it is absolutely perfect.
(Each member of KAI-ZEN bow their heads in disappointment, and look to each other briefly, worried about their individual futures in the group. Ricky glances at them momentarily before resuming his pacing, slowly going back and forth.)
Ricky: In case you haven’t figured it out by now, mediocrity will not suffice. I actually care about the result when that bell rings, and at House of Glass, when it did, you lost. At the start of this little team meeting, I said that I’m not happy. But above all else, I’m absolutely embarrassed, and I’m ashamed. When I picked the four of you, it was because I saw potential and talent. Hell, I still do. I just want to make all of you realize it fully. I want you to know how great you can be, because if this team reaches its full potential, you know it, I know it, and the entire Dynasty locker room knows that we could run this place. But… what if I’m wrong?
(Ricky shakes his head while pacing, thinking to himself.)
Ricky: What if my faith has been misplaced? Perhaps I’ve made a severe lack of judgment.
(Ricky stops pacing, continuing to think to himself.)
Ricky: MITSU.
(Ricky beckons for MITSU to come forward. MITSU steps out the line, and stands face-to-face with Ricky.)
Ricky: Remember what I said about… restructuring? Remolding this team to be perfect?
(MITSU nods.)
MITSU: Yes.
Ricky: Good. So, you understand that, while I did make this team, I can just as easily take people out of this team. Nobody’s spot is safe, including you, and I say this, because at House of Glass, I’ve noticed a constant. I’ve noticed that this team had a weak link, and MITSU… that weak link was you.
(MITSU is visibly taken aback by being called the weak link, but Ricky keeps going.)
Ricky: What? You’re shocked? You’re confused? You think I made a mistake? No, I meant everything I just said there. You were the weak link, and that baffles me, because you’re the first person I approached to join Tohru and Shinzo. So, with that being said, you’d think… you’d THINK that you’d be the one to rise to the occasion, and do your part for this team. That if people went away from that match talking about something, it’d be your performance. And yeah, people were talking about your performance, but not in a good way. In a mocking sort of a way, in a way that asks “why are you on this team?” And I asked myself the same question.
(Ricky scoffs.)
Ricky: Obviously, it’s because of your talent, and the fact you possess endless potential. But what good is potential if you never use it? What good is potential if its sole purpose is to hold us back? MITSU, I like you. I really do, so don’t think I’d take pride, or any sort of happiness if it came down to it. But if you continue to drag KAI-ZEN down, I won’t hesitate to cut you loose. Is that understood?
(MITSU sighs, obviously disappointed at being singled out like this, but nods, letting Ricky know he’s received the message loud and clear, some paranoia shining through as well.)
MITSU: Understood.
Ricky: Gr-
MITSU: But I want you to know, and for the rest of this team to know that I will make it up to them. I will prove that you’re wrong about me, that I am not a weak link.
(Ricky nods, respecting MITSU’s promise, and having faith that he’ll fulfill it.)
Ricky: Good, you better. Or else…
(Ricky takes a deep breath.)
Ricky: You either straighten up, and become a strong force that you’re supposed to be, and that KAI-ZEN needs you to be. Or else you go back to being a nobody… to doing comedy segments with Komatsu Ogawa… settling into mediocrity.
(Again, MITSU nods.)
MITSU: I will do better. Just give me a chance, and I will do better.
Ricky: I believe you.
(Ricky shakes MITSU’s hand, and pats him on the shoulder before every member of KAI-ZEN disperses, having a lot to think about after that talking to from Ricky, and Tohru begins taking off his suit to change into his gear for the match later tonight with Jake Smith as the camera fades elsewhere.)
(Friday Night Dynasty fades back to the arena to a panaround shot, as ‘Dead Opps’ by DD Osama & Notti Osama begins to blast through the PA system. The crowd gives a mixed reaction, primarily dominated by cheers, as the camera goes over to reveal the NEW New Breed Champion Michael Machina as he makes his way out to the stage. He has a big smirk on his face, looking down at the title that he has wrapped around his waist, before he then begins to make his way down the ramp and toward the ring.)
Stephie Love: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome… the EAW NEW BREED CHAMPION!!!!!!!!!! ‘THE NEW BREED OF LEGENDS’… MICHAEL MACHINA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Stew-O: Well this is certainly a warm welcome for the newly crowned New Breed Champion. Michael Machina beat both Drake Armstrong and the Champion Hans Grayson in a Glass TLC match to capture his first title here in Elite Answers Wrestling, and I can only imagine the immense honor this is for him. Better yet, what this means for the New Breed division. :lupe:
Flannery McCoy: It means that there’s going to be a high bar to catch that will only continue to rise as Michael’s stock in this company grows. I believe that he has the makings to be an amazing Champion, and who’s to say what’s going to happen from this point on. That might be something that Michael will be able to answer to us tonight.
Jake Mercer: :mjcry: Not Hans…
(Michael makes his way up the steel steps and onto the apron, looking out before entering into the ring. He makes his way over to the edge of the ring, grabbing a hold of the microphone while he signals for ‘Dead Opps’ to come to a close. The lights then begin to dim, a spotlight shining down on Michael, as he from there begins to speak.)
Michael Machina: I don’t know what needs to be said. Everything that I really could say about what happened would simply be a reiteration of everything that I have already shown you. This position that I’m in right now, standing before you today at the top of the world, I have said from the very beginning was my destiny. It was a proven fact that when I first arrived in this company, I was already ahead of the pack, and the New Breed division was playing a desperate game of catch up when they figured that out. Any competition that I seemingly had, was put down without a second thought, anyone that thought I was “overhyped” certainly had something else to say after they stepped into the ring with me. Needless to say, I was the hottest commodity amongst all the other newcomers, and the spotlight, as deserved, was shined right down on me just like it is right now.
(Michael looks upward at the spotlight that shines down on him, as he continues to look at the black mass in the distance that clouds the sea of fans.)
Michael Machina: All it took was the last step, and we would’ve gotten here earlier if plans weren’t derailed the way that they were. Hans Grayson thought that he could make an example out of me, and before I could prove him wrong at Territorial Invasion, Drake Armstrong made the mistake of thinking he could make a buck off of me. The only thing that losing my first match for the New Breed Championship did for me was fuel my resolve, and set out to prove a point that I was the last person to be fucked with. I had unfinished business, and no matter who they were, whether it was Drake, whether it was Hans, I was going to get my way. So in hindsight, I’m pretty damn glad that Hans made the decision to give me a second opportunity under fairer conditions, one that would prevent an outsider from influencing the outcome, and give me a chance to give him some well needed payback in the process. For what it’s worth, Drake put up a fight. Needless to say that it wouldn’t be enough, but it was enough for me to acknowledge it during my crowning moment tonight. I’m sure he’s going to move onto what I can only assume to be bigger and better things, and with that I wish him the best, but I damn sure hope that he learned from his mistakes and I don’t end up seeing him try to put his hands in my business again like he knows what’s good for me, because he doesn’t. As for Hans, I’ll be happy to say that he held down the fort and showed what it took to be a Champion in this company. But what I also showed last week is how I will be a better Champion than him, and succeed where he has failed. He may have tried to take this title to the next level, and defend against everyone to prove how good he was, but I’m looking to take this to unforeseen heights. I’m elevating this beyond anyone could ever imagine, and that is simply because the competition in the New Breed division is… inadequate for my needs.
(Michael paces around, the spotlight continuing to trail him while he tightens the grip on the title wrapped around his shoulder.)
Michael Machina: That’s no slight to any of them whatsoever, but you can only be so good in the face of someone like The Moneymaker, and that’s not my ego speaking, that’s the truth. That’s cold, hard facts after everything that I have done since my arrival to Elite Answers Wrestling. With my newly found possession, and this standard that I have to uphold, I look toward a dangerous precedent set by the longest reigning New Breed Champion Andre Walker. Just like myself, he was far above this division, reigning with an iron fist and seemingly beating every challenger that stood in his way. Every obstacle was thrown his way, from Mr. DEDEDE, to a massive multi-person gauntlet. But each and every time, he defied the odds and cemented himself as one of the greatest New Breed Champions that this company has ever seen. I believe that I can not only do the same thing, but surpass him as well, and I see absolutely nothing stopping me from doing just that. Even though House of Glass answered everyone’s question of whether or not I was ready, this is far from the end of the journey just because I have the title around my waist. Don’t think for a second that this is the peak of my success, and that this is the limit of my potential. No, no, this is just the beginning, this is the start of my reign, and it won’t be long before this becomes one of many achievements on the trophy case once I’m done.
Michael Machina: And if there’s anyone in the back that has a problem with it, then nothing should be stopping you from taking it up with me. The floor is yours to speak your truth and I’ll be more than happy to give you a reason or two as to why as long as I’m Champion, you will never even come close to competing. I don’t ask for little, what I do ask for is the best of what the New Breed division in this company has to offer, and furthermore, let’s stop beating around the bush, the very best that this company has to offer point blank. I’m at the top of this division for a reason, I’m the only thing that anybody ever talks about, not just because of my name value. They talk about me for my raw power and natural ability, something that few have been able to handle being in the ring with me. We move onto the next step, and while The Moneymaker lives, The New Breed of Legends is born. Prove me wrong.
(Michael takes the New Breed Championship and raises it high into the air while ‘Dead Opps’ begins to play up. The lights go back to normal, and the crowd is showing their support for the new Champion and his bold statement. He slings the title back over his shoulder while dropping down and leaving the ring, and the last shot seen is him making his way up the ramp while Friday Night Dynasty from there begins to fade out to elsewhere.)
(A commercial for Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater plays, featuring Ronan Malosi trying to sneak through – but miserably failing in doing so – the jungle.)
Stephie Love: The following match is scheduled for ONE FALL!
Crowd: ONE FALL!
(“Monsters” by Currents begins to play throughout the arena as we fade back to ringside once more. A smirk across her face and a glare of confidence in her eyes. Making her way down to the ring.)
Stephie Love: Introducing first, fighting out of Chicago, Illinois! She is the Windy City Sadist… ROOORRRRRRRRRRYYYYYYYYYYYY SLLAAAAAAATTTTTTTTTE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jake Mercer: Rory Slate was unable to capture the Specialist Championship after some great effort, but just because she lost that match doesn’t mean that Rory is down. She is looking for redemption and she is starting on that road TONIGHT!
Flannery McCoy: You’re correct, Rory needs to stay focused on her goals. What happened at House of Glass is over, she can’t change the past but she can control her future.
(Rory gets into her corner, and “Cellar Door” by Spiritbox replaces her theme song. as Hayley Morrow slowly steps out and comes standing at the center of the stage. She looks up to Rory Slate as she slowly smirks wickedly before making her way into the ring.)
Stephie Love: AND HER OPPONENT! FROM MANHATTAN, NEW YORK!! WEIGHING IN AT 120 POUNDS!… BLACK ROSE IMMORTAL!!! HAYLEYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!MORROWWWWWWWWWW!!!!
Stew-O: Hayley has been making the rounds on Voltage, and now she is here looking to make an impact on Showdown. From what I have seen, if Rory isn’t careful then she might not walk out of the victor.
Jake Mercer: All it takes is one mistake and that match is over, Hayley could use the momentum from beating Rory Slate so you know her focus is 100% on this match. Ready to hear her name announced at the end of the match.
(DING! DING! DING!)
Flannery McCoy: The match is on its way and these two women are looking for a bit of momentum in the match, so you know they are going to go out. Both of these women stare each other down, wanting to see who is brave enough to make the first move. It appears that would be Rory, going in for what seems like a collar and elbow tie-up— BUT HAYLEY COUNTERS IT! Morrow showing off her quick thinking gets Rory to the ground with a hold of that arm! She is quick to get a submission going in this match! A Fujiwara can be dangerous in any part of this match!
Stew-O: It’s rare to see a submission be used this early in a match but it’s a great way of picking your way at your opponent. Even if she doesn’t tap, taking out that arm will prove detrimental in this match! You can see Slate trying to slip and slide out of it but Hayley is good at controlling her! Keeping her where she wants her. This is bad for Slate if she wants to push damage away from her arm! She just might have to—
Jake Mercer: SLATE ROLLS OUT OF THE HOLD! Spoke too soon Stew, never count out Rory. She is back on her feet, grabbing that arm! Unfortunately for her, it seems like the hold was just enough to cause some damage but hopefully none that would cause her to lose the ability to use her hands. Hayley going for a clothesline but Rory ducks it, bouncing off the ropes back towards Hayley— JUMPS OVER HER! Look at Slate go! Hayley quickly realizing what just happened turns to face Rory—
Flannery McCoy: KICK TO THE GUT BY RORY! Looks like she is setting up for— A CANADIAN DESTROYER! Rory using this opportunity to pin Hayley!
ONE!
KICKOUT!
Stew-O: Hayley kicks out! Way too early to think that would do the trick but I am sure a couple more big moves like that will help keep Hayley’s shoulder down for good. Rory is getting Hayley— WOAH! HAYLEY OUT OF NOWHERE! USING HER LEGS TO GET RORY DOWN ON THE GROUND! SHE GETS HER IN ANOTHER SUBMISSION! A KNEEBAR!
Jake Mercer: The armbar and now the kneebar, she is trying her best to eliminate any mobility in her vital limbs! Can’t win a match if you can’t move your arm or legs! She got the lock on tight, the ropes were way out of reach! ALL SHE CAN DO IS ELBOW AT THE THIGH OF HAYLEY! STABBING INTO HAYLEY THIGHT UNTIL SHE FINALLY LET’S GO! Rory stumbles but at least she is out of the hold. She has to get back into the match, going to strike Hayley with a forearm—
Flannery McCoy: BUT HAYLEY SLIPS UNDER THE STRIKE, GETTING BEHIND HER TO HIT— A SNAP DRAGON SUPLEX! Dropping her quickly on the back of her neck! Hayley has shown her skill in this match, her technical prowess has to be admired. Two submissions and an impressive suplex in such a quick span! Morrow might be a mainstay here on Showdown with moves like this. Hayley going over to a down Rory now, what is she looking for—
Stew-O: ANOTHER SUBMISSION! Locking her legs in her arms and getting her up for an INVERTED CLOVERLEAF! She has already targeted the leg with the kneebar! She doesn’t seem to be done! By the end of this match, I don’t think Rory will be able to use her legs again! Look at Rory, trying to scratch her claw to any form of escape! This isn’t looking good for Rory. Wait a minute! Slate swings her body back down between Hayley’s LEGS— she TRIPS her up! Hayley landed on her face! Breaking the hold! Rory doing a great job outsmarting Hayley’s aggressive offense! Morrow trying to quickly recover—
Jake Mercer: BUT RORY USING HER AGILITY TO LEAP INTO THE AIR! LOCKING IN A HEAD SCISSORS, DROPPING HER DOWN TO THE MAT! Rory’s legs crushed down on the neck of Hayley, giving her a taste of her own medicine. Despite the damage done to her legs, she is still going to use them to her fullest capacity! Look at Hayley, her face is turning red! She just might tap! NO, NO, WAIT LOOK AT HAYLEY’S LEG!
Flannery McCoy: HER FOOT IS UNDER THE ROPES! Just barely getting her foot under there. The referee trying to get Rory off! Both Hayley and Rory seem surprised, looked like a stroke of luck by Hayley Morrow. Rory gets back to her feet and picks Hayley back up to her feet, looking for another move! Getting her back, LIFTING UP, and PLANTING HER DOWN WITH A BELLY TO BACK FACEBUSTER! CATCHING SOME HEIGHT THERE! Don’t let Rory’s stature fool you, she could break you in half if she wanted to. Here we go, Rory going for the pin! After that move, it might be close!
ONE!
TWO!!
THERE—
Stew-O: ANOTHER KICK OUT! IT WAS CLOSE BUT HAYLEY WAS JUST ABLE TO GET HER SHOULDER UP! Rory looks a bit upset but the fact is that in a match like this, you have to be willing to go the distance. Your opponent might be resilient but they always have a limit. Rory just needs to find that limit and put Hayley down for good. Which is easier said than done but it is doable.
Jake Mercer: Rory doesn’t seem to want to keep this match going, picking her up into a TORTURE RACK! Possibly looking for a CLEAN SLATE— WAIT A MINUTE! HAYLEY SLIPS HER LEGS AND ARMS INTO RORY’S PITS! REVERSING INTO A PIN! HAYLEY COULD STEAL THE WIN!
ONE!
TWO!!
THREEEEE!!!
Flannery McCoy: NO! HAYLEY ALMOST HAD IT! She ain’t going to ponder about it, grabbing Rory Slate! PUTTING HER IN THE TORTURE RACK, LOOKING FOR HER FINISHER “SERNITY PAINTED DEATH”! THIS COULD BE ALL SHE— NO, RORY WITH THE REVERSAL OH HER OWN, HOOKING THE ARMS FOR THE—
Stew-O: GTFO!!!! NAILING HAYLEY’S HEAD INTO THE MAT! GOING FOR THE PIN!
ONE!
TWO!!
THREE!!!
(DING! DING! DING!)
Stephie Love: HERE IS YOUR WINNER… ROOORRRRRRRRRRYYYYYYYYYYYY SLLAAAAAAATTTTTTTTTE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Stew-O: Amazing back-and-forth matchup between these two, it came down to the wire but this could have been anyone’s match.
Jake Mercer: Hayley came out giving it her all! Just mere seconds away from victory, there is no shame in that and I know that next time — Hayley will be even better than before. But congratulations to Rory Slate for getting the job done!
(A shot of Hayley’s face showed her dazed eyes, cutting back to Rory who was on the top rope celebrating her hard-earned victory. The scene fades with a smirk by Rory to the camera.)
(Friday Night Dynasty fades back from a brief intermission, with the camera going over to show the backstage area of Dolphins Arena. Specifically, the shot is focused on the locker room area, where a figure is seen seated in a chair. The crowd roars in approval as Joso is seen, head down as his eyes are occupied on his phone, trying to disguise the unhappiness that he has for recent events. Sure, there was a win to be satisfied about at House of Glass, but the reality was his mind was more focused on what happened afterward, and it leaves a sour taste in his mouth for all the hard work that he’s done this Season to amount to that. He’s not left to wallow by himself for long, as he snaps out of it after hearing the door creak and footsteps slowly beginning to approach him.)
???: Hey, little buddy.
(As soon as he hears the voice, Joso looks up from his seat and turns around to the entrance, with the camera panning away from him to show Chris Elite as he enters the scene. He’s seen in his ring attire, preparing for his Extreme Elimination Chamber qualifying match against SOSA Henderson later in the night, but with the added addition of a shirt that reads in bold letters “Free Tyrone”. The crowd cheers loudly as Chris doesn’t seem to be here for any sort of conflict, rubbing the back of his neck with an unsure expression on his face. It’s clear that what also happened with Joso is something that Chris is concerned about, despite their victory at House of Glass, and he’s trying to ease the tension by cheering him up in some way.)
Chris Elite: I just wanted to find you so that I could compliment you for our win last week. I know myself, Limmy, and Myles all did our thing, but you contributed as well and you deserve your flowers for that. You hung with the very best and proved that someday you could be the best, I’ll give you credit for that. I’m mostly just glad that we finally got the chance to shut KAI-ZEN up the way that we did. I can’t deny that these past couple of weeks have gotten on my nerves, and I was just about done with this entire situation by the time we were through. They thought that shit was sweet around here, and that they could get away with beating us down without consequences, but we showed them they have a long way to go-
Joso: Aren’t you forgetting something?
Chris Elite: ???
(Joso sighs, pushing himself up out of his seat and standing up, turning around to face Chris and look him in the eyes, face-to-face.)
Joso: You heard me, I’m sorry man but I can’t just stand around and not address the elephant in the room here, and you know exactly what it was. That win was nice and all, and I’m glad that we got the chance to beat KAI-ZEN as well, no doubt, but that result was expected for me, I knew that we were going to win. What I didn’t expect was for all of you to get rewarded for it… except me.
(Chris crunches his face, he knows exactly what Joso is talking about and at this point there really is no avoiding it.)
Chris Elite: Look-
Joso: Look at what? How about you look at this, I’m not trying to hear it. Just because we got a win and just because you were my partner for that week, doesn’t mean that I’m not going to tell you the truth, and the truth is that what happened after the fact overshadowed all of the positive sentiment and made me feel a type of way. I’m pissed, and for good reason, I’m pissed because I got singled out and robbed of an opportunity to reach the next level that I know I’m ready for, because of what? Not because of my wrestling ability, but because of the color of my skin. Considering this is what you’ve been advocating weeks for, shouldn’t you be agreeing with me instead of trying to downplay the situation? You were right there after all.
(Chris obviously was not trying to have a hostile conversation between the two of them, but by the looks of things it seems to be far from the case considering how Joso is feeling right now. There’s no real way of going about this other than telling it straight.)
Chris Elite: Look beloved, I get it. If there’s anyone that understands, it’s me. But this bullshit is beyond our control right now, and if we try to do anything about it, matters will only get worse and we’ll only continue to get persecuted. You just gotta trust it, because I know that even though he got suspended, Tyrone finally turning a new leaf was a step in the right direction.
Joso: You know what, yeah man, you could have fooled me.
Chris Elite: :comeagain: Fuck you mean?
Joso: You would think shit is all sunshine and roses because you were chosen for the opportunity to fight for the Extreme Elimination Chamber despite being the whole reason why Tyrone got suspended because you egged him on, and yet I’m here being singled out by KKKensingten.
Chris Elite: You know, I’m really trying not to start problems right now…
Joso: Nah, you’ve done enough. I’m good man, just enjoy your shot.
(Joso moves past Chris and looks to leave the locker room, Chris turning around and trying to persuade him otherwise.)
Chris Elite: Hey man, c’mon, can’t we just talk about this-
(SLAM!)
(The door shuts abruptly as Chris stops what he’s saying, realizing that Joso is already out the door. He takes a moment, thinking to himself.)
Chris Elite: https://media.tenor.com/FHJ23V4Dvm0AAAAC/michael-b-jordan-sad.gif
(Chris then makes his way out of the locker room himself, as it’s the last shot seen before Friday Night Dynasty begins to fade to elsewhere from there.)
Stephie Love: The following contest is scheduled for ONE FALL!!!!
Crowd: ONE FALL!!!!
Stephie Love: And it is an EXTREME ELIMINATION CHAMBER QUALIFYING MATCH!!!!
(‘My Way’ by Limp Bizkit would hit the speakers of the arena to an explosion of cheers, as a very wounded Ryan Wilson would carefully make his way out onto the stage. He is battered and bruised, taped and bandaged up from Xander’s attack earlier, as he makes his way down the ramp.)
Stephie Love: Introducing first! From Montréal, Québec, Canada, weighing in at 220 pounds, he is ‘DYNASTY’S WORKHORSE!!!!!’ RYAAAAAANNNNNN WILSONNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!
Stew-O: Well, Ryan seems adamant about competing tonight despite that attack from Xander earlier on in the show! He isn’t at a hundred percent, but the fact he’s coming out here is a testament to how important qualifying in the Extreme Elimination Chamber is for him! Xander proclaimed that his issues with Ryan aren’t over, but as far as he’s concerned, he’s not going to focus on his bitter enemy and former friend any longer. He’s thinking about the road ahead, and it leads to Road to Redemption!
Jake Mercer: :lupe: Admirable on one hand, but geez, he’s pretty much a walking target for Jay Jerry Johnson! I’ll at least give him *some* credit for having huge guts to continue on, but will he even be able to win in this condition? Matter of fact, what if Xander shows up again?
Flannery McCoy: There are many worrying factors to think about. Still, no one can say that Ryan Wilson isn’t a fighter. Even if we don’t take that attack from Xander into account, he spent a good portion going through hell against him at House of Glass, and he lived to tell the tale. He was able to push past the physical and emotional hurt hes had to beat him. Maybe Ryan can dig deep enough to find a way to beat Jay Jerry Johnson and participate in his second-consecutive Extreme Elimination Chamber match.
(And then, ‘Sakayume’ by King Gnu would hit the speakers to a mixed reaction of both cheers and boos. The former Interwire Champion would make his way out onto the stage, as Jay Jerry Johnson would take it all in, before making his way down the ramp.)
Stephie Love: And his opponent! From Bridgeport, Connecticut, weighing in at 206 pounds, he is THE ‘ARTIST!!!!!!” JAAAAAYYYYYY JEERRRRYYYYYYY JOOOHNNNSONNNNN!!!!!!!
Stew-O: Ryan isn’t the only one who has aspirations of returning to the chamber. Jay Jerry Johnson is looking to move on from his Interwire Championship run, garnering the confidence he needed to re-enter the main event scene. Jay has been able to prove himself for the past four months, and as we stated earlier in the opening of this show, it is only up from here.
Jake Mercer: Triple J has grown tremendously, pretty much in the running for being arguably the most improved Elitist of 2023. His body of work since capturing the Interwire title at Pain for Pride speaks for itself. He certainly has grown since last year’s Road to Redemption, that’s for sure! He just has to beat Ryan here, and his own road towards the event will become much clearer.
Flannery McCoy: Jay is determined, but just a tad surprised seeing Ryan out here given what he went through. Still, there’s no doubt that whatever sympathy there may be will have to be quelled. It almost feels like this match is now completely unfair to Ryan, in no small part thanks to an obsessive and upset Xander Payne. Still, if Ryan is determined to wrestle even with his condition… then that’s it. :wow: We’ll just have to wait and see if he can get the job done, or Jay makes it to Road to Redemption through his expense.
(DING! DING! DING!)
Stew-O: And this match is now underway! One has to wonder how Ryan Wilson is going to be able to work through this match. He was attacked by Xander Payne earlier in the night, and he is taped and bandaged up, battered and bruised. The former Interwire Champion is going to be sure to target and take advantage, as the two meet in the center of the ring, and they engage into a collar and elbow tie up to start this match!
Flannery McCoy: But Ryan is too weak in order to get the early advantage, and Jay Jerry Johnson is able to turn it around, before pulling him over into a quick standing side headlock! Wilson looks to escape the hold, but Jay continues to wrench it tightly, leaving him with nowhere to go, and no room whatsoever to escape within the center of the ring!
Jake Mercer: But Ryan looks to have found his opening, quickly slipping his head out of the hold, before he grabs Jay by the waist… BUT JAY WITH A QUICK BACK ELBOW STRIKE TO THE JAW OF RYAN WILSON, FORCING HIM TO BACK AWAY! Jay steps in, and he knows him right into those bruised ribs, and Ryan is completely off his game!
Stew-O: Triple J grabs Ryan Wilson by the wrist, locking it tightly with his before he irish whips him off and into the ropes, AND RYAN LOOKS TO REBOUND AT JAY… BUT HE RUNS RIGHT INTO A BRICK WALL, AS JAY DROPS HIM WITH A SHOULDER BLOCK, AND RYAN GETS SLAMMED HARD RIGHT INTO THE MAT BELOW!
Flannery McCoy: Ryan is hurting right now, and Jay looks to take advantage of that, as he quickly shoots off of the ropes, but Ryan is able to roll over onto his stomach, and Jay jumps over him, before running off the opposite side, AND RYAN GETS UP… ONLY TO BE CAUGHT WITH A MASSIVE CLOTHESLINE BY THE FORMER INTERWIRE CHAMPION! RYAN FALLS RIGHT BACK INTO THE MAT, AND JAY WITH A STIFF KICK TO THE FACE TO FOLLOW UP!
Jake Mercer: Jay Jerry Johnson is NOT taking the hurt Ryan Wilson lightly, and it is clear as day in this match, as he picks him back up to his feet… but Ryan has to desperately push Jay off and into the ropes… AND RYAN THEN SHOOTS IN WITH A BIG BOOT TO THE FACE OF HIS OWN TO THE STANDING TRIPLE J! JAY FALLS THROUGH THE MIDDLE ROPE AND TO THE FLOOR!
Stew-O: Jay crumbles down to the ringside floor, as he quickly gets back up to his feet, BUT IT LOOKS LIKE RYAN WILSON IS GOING TO BUILD SOME STEAM, AS HE SHOOTS OFF OF THE ROPES… AND HE DIVES THROUGH THEM, DROPPING JAY DOWN WITH A MASSIVE SUICIDE DIVE!!! Triple J has been taken down and Ryan gets back up to his feet, fighting through all of this pain and agony that is shooting through him here!
Flannery McCoy: Ryan limps back over towards Triple J and pulls him back up to his feet, before throwing him back into the ring, and Ryan looks to capitalize on this through all of the torment that he has gone through! He climbs up onto the apron, and then up to the top rope… AND RYAN WILSON LEAPS OFF, LOOKING FOR A HUGE DOUBLE FOOT STOMP…
Jake Mercer: …JAY ROLLS OUT OF THE WAY AND HE GETS BOTH OF HIS FEET UP, KICKING IT RIGHT INTO RYAN’S FACE! RYAN’S HEAD JUST SNAPPED BACK, AND JAY QUICKLY GRABS HIM, AND ROLLS HIM UP INTO AN INSIDE CRADLE FOR THE WIN!
ONEEEE!!!!!!!
TWOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!
Stew-O: RYAN KICKS OUT! HE KICKS OUT! Both men pop back up to their feet, AND RYAN NAILS A HUGE SWING RIGHT ACROSS THE FACE! IT CONNECTED, BUT IT MIGHT HAVE BEEN WEAKENED BECAUSE OF HIS DAMAGED STATE, AND JAY KICKS HIM RIGHT IN THE KNEE FORCING RYAN BACK DOWN! Jay then picks him back up to his feet, and a knee right to the face!—
Flannery McCoy: RYAN GRABS JAY AND PULLS HIM INTO AN INSIDE CRADLE OF HIS OWN! RYAN WILSON IS GOING TO STEAL IT RIGHT HERE!
ONEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
TWOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jake Mercer: KICK OUT BY THE FORMER INTERWIRE CHAMPION! Triple J scrambles back to his feet, but it looks like Ryan Wilson isn’t going to be as quick, stumbling up slowly… AND JAY STEPS IN, ONLY TO BE NAILED WITH A SUPERKICK SQUARE ON THE JAW BY RYAN! RYAN IS FIGHTING FOR HIS LIFE, AND HE MAY BE ABLE TO PUT JAY AWAY!
Stew-O: This is how much a shot at the World Heavyweight Championship means to the two of these men, as Ryan Wilson is going to grab a hold of the dazed Triple J… AND THROUGH HELL AND BACK, NO MATTER HOW DAMAGED HE IS, RYAN WILSON LIFTS JAY UP INTO THE AIR… AND HE CONNECTS WITH THE ‘MIC DROP!!!!’ IT’S OVER, RYAN WILSON PLANTED JAY JERRY JOHNSON WITH THE ‘MIC DROP!!!!’
Flannery McCoy: NO! NO! IT DIDN’T CONNECT! JAY WAS ABLE TO GET OUT OF IT, AND HE SCRAMBLES INTO THE CORNER, AS RYAN IS HURT! Ryan stumbles back up to his feet, and he tries to scatter over towards Triple J… BUT JAY NAILS HIM WITH A KICK INTO THE MIDSECTION! RYAN BACKS UP… AND JAY LEAPS ONTO THE MIDDLE ROPE!!! ‘PRETTY VISITOR!!!!!!’
Jake Mercer: IT CONNECTS! IT CONNECTS! JAY JUST FRONT FLIPPED OFF OF THE MIDDLE ROPE AND DROPPED RYAN WILSON WITH THE SLINGSHOT CUTTER, AND IT LOOKS LIKE HE ISN’T DONE, AS HE DRAGS HIS LIFELESS BODY BACK OVER INTO THE CENTER OF THE RING, AND BEGINS TO LIFT HIM UP…
Stew-O: ‘LONG LIVE JAY-ISM!!!!’ IT CONNECTS!!! TRIPLE J SPIKES RYAN WILSON HARD INTO THE CANVAS BELOW, AND HE ISN’T MOVING! HE LOOKS TO BE OUT OF IT, AS JAY FLOATS OVER, AND HE SEIZES HIS MOMENT, HOOKING THE LEG IN DEEP AND TO QUALIFY FOR THE EXTREME ELIMINATION CHAMBER!!!
ONEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!
TWOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!
THREEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(DING! DING! DING!)
Stephie Love: HERE IS YOUR WINNER… JAAAAYYYY JEERRRRRYYY JOHNSONNNN!!!!!!!
(‘Sakayume’ hits the speakers once more to a mixed reaction as Jay Jerry Johnson would push himself off the lifeless and damaged body of Ryan Wilson. He would get up and begin to celebrate his victory.)
Stew-O: What a match between these two, but in the end, it wasn’t going to be pretty. Ryan Wilson was already hurting before the opening bell, and Triple J took advantage of it. He fought valiantly, but it just wasn’t enough in the end.
Jake Mercer: Yeesh. You can’t help but to feel bad. If Xander didn’t attack him, things could’ve been different for Ryan and this match.
Flannery McCoy: It’s unfortunate that it had to happen under these kind of circumstances, but nonetheless, Jay Jerry Johnson has qualified for the Extreme Elimination Chamber, and a huge congratulations to him!
Stew-O: Yes, Jay is the man who can go ahead and declare proudly he has been able to find himself in back-to-back chamber matches. Seems as if Jay’s redemption arc is in full swing!
Jake Mercer: While Ryan may have to regroup and have to deal with Xander again, Jay gets to continue becoming one of the brighter stars here on Dynasty. He is the first Elitist to qualify for the chamber match here tonight, setting the tone for what’s to come! Again, congratulations goes out to the Charismatic Artist!
(Jay would continue to celebrate his victory. He leaves the ring, raising his arm up. In the meantime, the referee checks on Ryan Wilson, and the camera fades out.)
(The camera fades backstage as we’re met by EAW’s head interviewer Max A. Million who stands ready with a microphone in hand.)
Max A. Million: Ladies and Gentlemen, we’re still off the heels of another incredible House of Glass Dynasty exclusive which was a night where new champions were crowned. I’ve been given the opportunity to speak to one of the men who left House of Glass without his championship. The former New Breed Champion, Hans Grayson.
(The camera pans across to Hans Grayson who’s still covered in the wounds of the war between the new New Breed Champion, Michael Machina, Drake Armstrong and himself.)
Max A. Million: It’s never easy losing a championship, especially one that you wore so proudly during your reign, but you’re a man who now finds himself standing in new territory, Hans. The question that I have to ask is how are you feeling after House of Glass?
Hans Grayson: Physically? I’m still in a lot of pain, but these wounds are going to heal. But, it’s tough. I always understood that there’s never going to be a day where a champion is always going to be able to reign forever. We’d love the chance to stand in front of the world for as long as we’d hoped with those championships, but there’s always going to come a day where we meet our match. Someone who’s a little hungrier than we are. They’re able to push themselves that little bit further than we are, and they’re going to take away what we’ve held so proudly. It doesn’t make House of Glass any easier to process though, Max. It’s not the fact that I lost. I always wanted to go down fighting. I wanted to make sure that the person who managed to take that New Breed Championship away from me was going to have to fight tooth and nail in order to do so. I wasn’t able to make that happen at House of Glass. I wasn’t there during those final moments. I wasn’t physically able to continue, which guaranteed that there was going to be a new champion. Michael Machina is an animal. He’s absolutely relentless, and I know that he’s going to have one hell of a reign as the New Breed Champion, and whoever is able to take that championship away from him is going to have to push themselves further than they ever have in order to actually take it away. I’m saying that from personal experience too. It’s just a little disappointing to not go out like a true, fighting champion if my fate was to lose at House of Glass. But, I’ve come to understand throughout the last few days that I’m never going to be able to change what happened during Glass TLC. It may not have been the way that I hoped it would end, but I’m damn proud of what I achieved as the New Breed Champion. The win at Pain for Pride. Defending it against both Drake Armstrong and Michael Machina at Reckless Wiring and Territorial Invasion respectively. It still blows my mind that I’ve managed to accomplish what I have within a year of signing with EAW still blows my mind.
Max A. Million: You have plenty to be proud about your time here in EAW, Hans. With that being said – is there anything that you’re looking towards in the future?
Hans Grayson: I know that I’m standing at a crossroad right now, but I’m really not too concerned with any of it. There’s no challenge that I’m going to come across in the future that I know that I’m not going to make sure that I’m not completely prepared for. This is a dog eat dog world. We’re all looking to do whatever we can to make sure that our meal is a little more fulfilling than everyone else’s. Theron Nikolas is going to be looking for challengers for his new Interwire Championship. I would absolutely love the chance to compete for the World Heavyweight Championships. There’s names like Limmy Monaghan and Myles who have cemented themselves as two of the best that this company as a whole has to offer. It’s an unknown road, but that doesn’t make it any less exciting. Sometimes it’s the unknown which are the most valuable. I’m going to take whatever comes my way next with both hands, the same way that I did with the New Breed Championship, and I’m going to make the best of it. The same way that I have with everything that I’ve done within the last year.
Richard Grant: And those ambitions are never out of reach for such a model Dynasty Elitist!
(Boo’s can immediately be heard throughout the arena as Richard Grant steps into the frame.)
Richard Grant: My deepest condolences for what happened at House of Glass. I’m sure that you understand that there would never be a day that you wouldn’t have reigned as the New Breed Champion, or any championship for that matter if I have full control over all of your situations. But, I couldn’t admire anyone more than someone who doesn’t let their own ambitions falter in the face of heartbreak. It takes the true future of everything that Dynasty should represent to immediately pick himself back up to his feet, dust himself off and face all challenges that I already know that he’s going to overcome, and push himself to the level that we BOTH know that you’re going to reach. Reach in record time if you keep going at the rate you already are! I don’t expect you to respond to any of that though. There’s no point in clarifying everything that you’ve already proven are undoubtedly facts. Hans Grayson: the true representation of Dynasty! That has the perfect ring to it. It’s always going to have the perfect ring to it. The perfect face to represent this brand too.
(Hans doesn’t say a word, but the look on his face only shows that he’s anything but impressed with anything that Richard is saying.)
Richard Grant: But, hearing you talk about the future is perfect for us, Hans, because Kensington and I have been discussing the potential future with Road to Redemption coming up. There’s a reason that we’ve announced all but two of our qualifying matches for the Extreme Elimination Chamber at Road to Redemption. The night where Dynasty’s going to finally have a World Heavyweight Champion who’s truly worthy of representing this brand in all facets that it should be. I wanted to PERSONALLY offer you the opportunity to prove that you truly are the future that this brand needs, Hans. We want to offer you the opportunity to compete in one of the last Extreme Elimination Chamber qualifying match next week, and prove that you’re ready to step up to the next level. If it were up to me – I would just put you in the match, but I have no doubts in the man who has already proven that he’s ready to take the next needed steps.
(Richard looks on in anticipation, almost unable to keep himself calm before Hans’ response.)
Hans Grayson: I’d be a fool to turn it down.
Richard Grant: DONE! GREAT! We couldn’t be happier! I don’t need to thank you, Hans. You’ve already done enough! Get some rest, because next week the sky becomes the limit!
(Richard celebrates as he walks off leaving Max A. Million and Hans standing on their own.)
Max A. Million: So, any words about next week?
Hans Grayson: I look forward to it, I guess. May as well shoot to the top when the chance presents itself.
(Hans walks off in the opposite direction as the camera cuts elsewhere.)
(A commercial plays for Vans, featuring Rory Slate teaching Michael Machina how to skateboard before the two attack a heckler with it. Tony Hawk would be so proud.)
(The camera cuts backstage as we’re immediately met by the image of the brand new Interwire Champion making his entrance to the Dolphins Arena as the thousands packed inside can be heard as their cheers echo around the arena inside. The wounds from his war with Jay Jerry Johnson in that Unlimited Light Tubes match at House of Glass are still evident, but the confidence on his face shows a man who’s physical pain is almost non-existent. The Interwire Championship is over his right shoulder with his hand firmly grasped over the bottom of it as he takes a look down at his new prize. He continues to make his way further into the arena before finally being stopped by Kathy Kush.)
Kathy Kush: Theron, we were wondering if there’s a chance that we could get a few words from the new Interwire Champion after his success at House of Glass.
(Theron doesn’t answer the question, instead readjusts the championship on his shoulder as the hint of a smile crosses his face.)
Kathy Kush: Before we start; I’d like to be the first person here on Dynasty to congratulate you on beating the valiant former champion, Jay Jerry Johnson, and finally taking hold of your first piece of gold here in EAW in 5 years.
(The hint of a smile leaves the face of Theron, but he doesn’t look deterred at the thought of his journey over the last few years – instead taking a hold of the microphone in Kathy’s hand and beginning to speak.)
Theron Nikolas: I apologize, Kathy, and I appreciate the congratulations. Five years is a long time between drinks. This feeling has almost become foreign territory. You spend enough time chasing that you tend to forget how it feels to finally have that prize in both of your hands. I’m not going to stand here and answer questions, because now isn’t necessarily the time for questions. But, I am going to stand here and I’m going to give you the chance to listen to everything that I have to say. I have a lot of things that I have to say, and you’re definitely not going to want to miss them. I’ve had a lot of time to think about everything over the last week. I’ve thought about everything that I’ve done throughout my entire career. I thought about my journey to becoming the Answers World Champion. I remembered being the guy who fought tooth and nail to simply make a name for himself, and I remembered the idea of losing myself in the necessity that came with making sure that I was able to hold onto it for as long as I could. I thought about every single time that I found myself fingertips away from taking back the world that I used to rule, only to find myself with nothing of value once that proverbial dust settled. Scars that are reminders of my failures. I have to thank the man who I took this championship from. I meant everything that I said to him wholeheartedly. Jay Jerry Johnson was a great champion. He can be proud of everything that he did while he was the Interwire Champion. He proved himself in more ways than I believe that a lot of people thought that he would, and his future is going to be a bright one.
(Theron takes a look down at the Interwire Championship before he continues.)
Theron Nikolas: I’ve had people tell me that the House of Glass was proof that The God Emperor was back. I took back my throne. I have a crown to put atop of my head. But, the truth is that the God Emperor still isn’t going to come back. If there’s one thing that this business has taught me over the years; it’s that we can’t spend our time looking back at brighter days. I did a lot of things that I’m not really proud of while I professed that I was the God Emperor, but there wasn’t a day where the name didn’t command respect. It would be easy to stand here and say that they’re right. It’s time for the world to get down onto their knees and kneel before their Interwire Champion, but this isn’t meant to be easy, Kathy. You don’t work harder than the majority of this business; walk a road that the world never believed that you were going to survive and settle for easy. This Interwire Champion is going to be anything but easy. I said a lot of things that I want to accomplish. Jay Jerry Johnson was a great champion, but he wasn’t the champion that the Interwire Championship truly needed. This championship used to represent so much. This entire business dreams about standing on top of the world with either the EAW World, Answers World, or World Heavyweight Championship, but this represents being the workhorse. It represents opening the door of every single possibility. Every single challenge that this business has to offer. It’s been a long time since the Interwire Championship has meant as much as it should have. It’s been overlooked. Champions have been content with missing marquee events for matches that shouldn’t hold the same merit as this championship should. I meant it when I said that I’m going to make this championship the grandest prize that this brand has to offer. I don’t care about who I’m going to defend it against. I welcome absolutely everyone. From those who sit on the bottom rung to those who find themselves standing at the top. It’s about creating a legacy that can’t be diminished. A platform that can’t be destroyed. It’s why the Interwire Championship and I are kindred spirits. Two entities that have been forced to survive before coming together to become something greater than anyone truly realized that they were going to become. It returns to the marquee. It returns to the spotlight that it’s owed. It’s held by the man that may not sit on the highest peak, but is the reason that this business continues to stand at the level that it does. If there’s anyone who believes that they’re able to take it away from me then my door is always there to open and they’re always welcome to try their hardest to do so.
???: Life is just so easy when you’re handed the opportunities to make yourself a star while the rest of us are forced to deal with situations where their backs are placed up against a wall, isn’t it, Theron?
(The arena immediately erupts with boo’s as the familiar voice of Drake Armstrong is heard from a distance.)
Drake Armstrong: I should be standing here like you, Theron. The brand new Champion with the opportunity to flex his gold in front of the world, but we’re not all fortunate enough to compete for our RIGHTFUL championships without having to fight against the undeserving champion and an undeserving challenger in the same match. It makes me sick to see you there with the Interwire Championship because YOU represent everything that I was robbed of. YOU were handpicked to have the opportunity to compete for it, while I was ignored in front of the world. I was told that I didn’t deserve to be rewarded for WINNING the SAME match that you did at Territorial Invasion!
(Theron laughs to himself which only seems to get further under the skin of Drake.)
Theron Nikolas: It’s okay, Drake. I used to make excuses when I lost too.
Drake Armstrong: EXCUSES?! I’m not making excuses, Theron. I’m stating facts. I would be the Interwire Champion if I was given the same match as you were at House of Glass.
Theron Nikolas: Sounds like you’re willing to put your money where your mouth is.
Drake Armstrong: Oh, I am, Theron. But – you talk about lessons, and House of Glass was a HUGE lesson. Not if, but when I have the chance to compete for that Interwire Championship it’s going to be on the terms of a man who’s still riding cloud nine after fluking his way to something that he couldn’t achieve for FIVE years. It’s going to be on my terms and nobody else’s.
Theron Nikolas: Well, I’ll be waiting for that day to come, Drake. I’d hate to watch the world pass you by until you finally decide that you’re willing to nut up.
(Drake grits his teeth and storms off as Theron hands the microphone back to Kathy and giving her a nod as thanks for the opportunity to speak before beginning to make his leave, only to find himself standing before Ricky who has his hand extended towards the new champion. Theron looks down and doesn’t shake it only for KAI-ZEN to step into the frame.)
Ricky: I would have thought that someone like yourself would have been smart enough to accept respect when it’s given, or better put – not to make enemies of those who could have their world away with a single moment.
(Theron pulls the Interwire Championship from off his shoulder and prepares himself for anything that could be about to happen.)
Ricky: We’re not here to fight, Theron. You would have already been dropped if that were the case. But, consider this fair warning that we’re willing to take that championship away the moment that we want it. You’re always going to have to have eyes in the back of your head to make sure that this dream isn’t about to turn into a nightmare.
(KAI-ZEN make their leave with each individual member taking a look at the Interwire Championship as Theron doesn’t take his eyes off of them heeding Ricky warning, alongside knowing what the group has done in the past. Once they’re out of sight he turns his head back forward and is immediately met by Ronan Malosi…)
Theron Nikolas: No.
(Theron laughs as he brushes straight past Ronan and out of the camera’s frame as Ronan stands there bewildered.)
Ronan Malosi: What? I’m only here to spread the good word of the Kaiser! The future father of Andreya Walker Malosi!
(A scowl crosses the face of Ronan as he takes a look at Theron walking away before the camera fades elsewhere.)
(The camera cuts to Stephie Love in the ring.)
Stephie Love: THE FOLLOWING CONTEST IS SCHEDULED FOR… ONE FALL!!
Crowd: ONE FALL!!
(‘Stop Breathing’ by Playboi Carti plays to a largely positive reaction from fans, who are firmly in Jake’s corner ahead of the match with Tohru. Jake poses on the ramp briefly, and walks down the ramp with his arms spread, a confident grin on his face.)
Stephie Love: Introducing first! Residing out of Atherton, California, weighing in at 210 pounds…HE IS THE PROCESS…JAKE SMITH!!
Flannery McCoy: Goes without saying that Jake lost to Andre-
Jake Mercer: Correction, Jake was SMASHED by Andre Walker! ☝️
Flannery McCoy: :roman:
Stew-O: Well, Jake has a golden opportunity to bounce back here, and secure himself a spot in the Extreme Elimination Chamber match.
(“Wano Kuni” by Kohei Tanaha blares throughout the arena to a negative reaction from fans, and Prince Tohru saunters down to the ring, being accompanied by Ricky, who is stressing the importance for Prince Tohru to win as they walk down to the ramp together.)
Stephie Love: And his opponent! Hailing out The Imperial House of Japan, weighing in at 231 pounds, accompanied to the ring by Ricky…HE IS THE GOLDEN EAGLE…PRINCE TOHRU!
Stew-O: Jake has an opportunity to bounce back, and Tohru has that same chance.
Flannery McCoy: But he has a little more than that, he has an opportunity to really make a name for himself here in Elite Answers Wrestling.
Stew-O: Could you imagine? Prince Tohru winning the World Title this early in his career would be generational.
(Both competitors stare one another down from opposing corners as the referee signals the bell.)
(DING! DING! DING!)
Stew-O: Alright, here we are, Jake Smith versus Prince Tohru, EEC qualifying match! The excitement is in the air as both competitors circle each other to start things off. Ricky is watching intently as his client locks up with Jake Smith in the center of the ring. A jockey for position takes place, but Tohru manages to back Jake Smith into the corner.
Flannery McCoy: Jake switches places with Tohru, and has him pinned up against the corner now. Jake Smith PUSHES Prince Tohru before backing away to the center of the ring. Slight show of disrespect there by the former EAW Answers World Champion.
Stew-O: If you ask me, Jake is returning that same energy back to Tohru, who hasn’t shown much respect for others himself.
Jake Mercer: Well, Tohru steps out of the corner, and circles Smith once again before both competitors close the distance for a collar and elbow ti-
Stew-O: No! Jake avoids the collar and elbow, slipping behind Tohru, and grabbing him in a rear waistlock instead. Jake quickly transitions into a standing side headlock, bringing Tohru down to a knee. Jake has that headlock in tight, continuously wrenching the hold. But Tohru powers back to his feet, and bounces Jake Smith off the ropes!
Flannery McCoy: SHOULDER TACKLE! Jake rebounds back with a shoulder tackle, and Tohru scrambles up to a knee. Both competitors lock eyes before Tohru rises to a vertical base, and circles Jake for a third time. Tohru has struggled to get that upper hand early on, but maybe that’ll change as these two start locking hands for a test of stre- OOH! Now, it’s Tohru with the fakeout, catching Jake with a kick to the midsection before both their hands could interlock.
Jake Mercer: How smart is Prince Tohru?! I’ll answer the question! Very. He is very smart!
Stew-O: :wow: With Jake stunned off that kick to the gut, Tohru follows it up with a KNIFE EDGE CHOP! Jake staggers away from Tohru, and leans up against the ropes. But Tohru quickly closes the distance, not wanting to give Jake much breathing room, and irish whips him off the ropes! Jake counters, sending Tohru to the ropes instead!
Flannery McCoy: Tohru hangs onto the ropes, halting his momentum before he could come rebounding back to Jake Smith. TOHRU CHARGES JAKE, AND JAKE GOES FOR A CLOTHESLINE! BUT TOHRU ROLLS UNDERNEATH IT! JAKE TURNS AROUND, AND GETS DROPPED WITH ANOTHER KNIFE EDGE CHOP TO THE CHEST!
Stew-O: Jake Smith rises to a knee, BUT FROM BEHIND, TOHRU TRIES TO LOCK HIM IN TSURUSHI! THAT DRAGON SLEEPER! JAKE SMITH RISES TO A VERTICAL BASE, AND TWISTS AROUND, REVERSING ONE INVERTED FACELOCK INTO ANOTHER AS JAKE NOW HAS TOHRU IN POSITION FOR PROPHETIC! THAT ROLLING CUT-
Flannery McCoy: OH! TOHRU PUSHES JAKE AWAY, AND ROLLS OUT OF THE RING! Crowd are not happy with Tohru retreating, but Ricky comes over, and whispers some words of wisdom into his ear.
Jake Mercer: Ricky is a knowledgeable guy, if he were to give me some advice, I’d take it too.
Flannery McCoy: Would you trust Ricky’s word over someone likes… The Wiseman?
Jake Mercer: :whoa: No comment!
Flannery McCoy:
Stew-O: Well, Ricky and Tohru better hurry this chat up, because Jake Smith has left the ring! TOHRU RUNS AWAY, AND A CHASE ENSUES AROUND THE RING! TOHRU SLIDES BACK IN! JAKE GOES TO DO THE SAME- BUT BEFORE SMITH COULD RISE FROM ALL FOURS, TOHRU SMASHED HIM ACROSS THE BACK WITH A DOUBLE AXE HANDLE!
Flannery McCoy: Tohru catches him with another, and begins stomping down on Jake repeatedly, using assistance from the top rope before the referee pulls Tohru away. Jake uses the ropes for assistance, returning to a vertical base, and staggers back into the corner, reeling after the onslaught of offense he just received from Tohru.
Stew-O: Tohru brushes past the referee, and marches toward Smith in the corner. BUT JAKE GRABS THE BACK OF TOHRU’S NECK, AND SENDS HIM INTO THE CORNER! KNIFE EDGE CHOP BY JAKE, FOLLOWED BY ANOTHER! TOHRU SENDS JAKE BACK INTO THE CORNER, AND RETURNS THAT SAME ENERGY WITH A DEVASTATING KNIFE EDGE CHOP OF HIS OWN!
Flannery McCoy: Jake is stunned, and Tohru irish whips him to the opposite corner! THE PRINCE CHARGES IN WITH A RUNNING BIG BOOT! Tohru follows that up, sending a dazed Jake out through the middle rope! Jake is on all fours, trying to shake the cobwebs out of his head, BUT TOHRU RUNS OFF THE ROPES AS HE BEGINS TO STIR, USING THE APRON TO PULL HIMSELF BACK UP!
Stew-O: JAKE SIDESTEPS A BASEBALL SLIDE, AND ROLLS BACK INSIDE THE RING, RUNNING OFF THE ROPES HIMSELF FOR A BASEBALL SLIDE ONTO TOHRU AS HE TRIED TO GET UP ON THE APRON! Tohru goes down, and Jake goes out to retrieve him, rolling Tohru back inside the ring. Jake gets up on the apron, and starts climbing to the top turnbuckle.
Jake Mercer: But Ricky begins calling out to Smith, causing Jake to step down to the apron. Ricky backs away, wanting no part of Jake, BUT TOHRU TAKES ADVANTAGE OF THE OPPORTUNITY, AND CHARGES INTO JAKE WITH A RUNNING FOREARM, SENDING HIM FACE FIRST INTO THE BARRICADE!
Flannery McCoy: Tohru exits the ring, and continues inflicting punishment over Jake Smith, driving him BACK FIRST into the barricade! Pain is etched across the face of Smith, who drops to all fours. Tohru has a confident smirk on his face, having someone the caliber of Jake Smith at his mercy.
Stew-O: Prince Tohru rolls Jake back inside the ring, and goes for the cover, hooking the leg deep!
ONNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEE!!
TWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOO!!
Stew-O: Only a two count!
Flannery McCoy: Correct me if I’m wrong, but I think that was the first pinfall victory attempt by either competitor in this match.
Stew-O: Yeah, it’s been pretty evenly matched so far, and neither competitor has had many opportunities to cover the other. But Tohru is the first to try, and almost pulls it off, scoring a two count.
Flannery McCoy: Jake is beginning to stir, but Tohru pulls him up to a knee. JAKE STARTS TO BATTLE BACK WITH SHOTS TO THE ABDOMINAL AREA OF TOHRU, RISING UP TO HIS FEET AS HE DOES SO! TOHRU EXPLODES WITH A WILD SWING, BUT JAKE DUCKS UNDERNEATH IT! BUT HE DOESNT DUCK UNDERNEATH A BACK ELBOW FROM TOHRU, PLACING HIM ON WOBBLY LEGS!
Stew-O: TOHRU CHARGES, AND DROPS JAKE WITH A CLOTHESLINE! Tohru is in the driver seat, and bends over, looking to pull Jake up to a vertical base once again. BUT JAKE COUNTERS WITH A SMALL PACKAGE! SMALL PACKAGE BY JAKE SMITH!
ONNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!
TWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOO!!
THHHHHHRRRRRRR-
Flannery McCoy: KICKOUT! TOHRU QUICKLY MAKES IT BACK TO HIS FEET, AND FLOORS JAKE WITH A RUNNING BIG BOOT TO THE SIDE OF HIS HEAD! Jake could only get up to a knee before Tohru struck!
Stew-O: Tohru pulls Jake up to a knee, but Jake starts to fight back to shots to the rib cage! TOHRU HAS A RESPONSE THIS TIME, SMASHING JAKE WITH HIS FOREARM! Jake goes down to all fours, and Tohru pulls him up to a vertical base, hooking Jake up for a suplex. BUT JAKE REVERSES WITH A SNAP SUPLEX!
Jake Mercer: Tohru favors his back as he rises to a knee. Jake approaches, and starts to stand Tohru up- BUT TOHRU BACKS SMITH INTO THE CORNER, RAKING THE EYES!!
Flannery McCoy: The referee reprimands Tohru for his actions, but Tohru brushes it off, lifting Jake to the top turnbuckle. Tohru winds up, and SMACKS JAKE ACROSS THE CHEST WITH A KNIFE EDGE CHOP! Jake remains dazed as a result, and Tohru climbs to the middle rope. Jake gets grabbed with a front facelock, and Tohru clubs him across the back repeatedly, letting some aggression come out!
Stew-O: Tohru hooks Jake up for a superplex, but Jake BLOCKS the attempt! Jake has hold of the top rope, hanging on for a dear life, and starts to fight back with right handed shots to the rib cage! TOHRU GETS SMASHED FACE FIRST OFF THE TOP TURNBUCKLE, DOUBLING HIM OVER!
Flannery McCoy: Look in the eyes of Jake Smith! Intensity like we’ve never seen it before thus far, AND JAKE SPIKES TOHRU WITH AN AVALANCHE CANADIAN DESTROYER!
Jake Mercer: That’ll bump up their star rating for sure! But Jake needs to hurry, and make the cover!
Stew-O: He can’t. Both competitors are down, showing the wear and tear this match has taken on them so far. Jake starts to stir, however, and begins crawling towards Tohru. Ricky is yelling for Tohru to get up, and almost running off pure adrenaline, Tohru rises to his feet, instantly stumbling into the corner.
Flannery McCoy: The fact Tohru can still stand after that is amazing! But it’s obvious he’s not at one-hundred percent, and a fired up Jake Smith marches toward him. Jake climbs to the middle rope, and begins reigning down punches to the skull of Tohru, allowing the crowd to count along!
Crowd: ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR! FIVE! SIX! SEVEN! EIGHT! NINE! TEN! ELEVEN! TWELVE! THIRTEEN! FOURTEEN! FIFTEEN! SIXTEEN!
Stew-O: JAKE IS GOING WAY PAST TEN, AND CROWD LOSES COUNT AS HE STARTS TO RAPID FIRE PUNCHES, ALTERNATING BETWEEN HANDS, TAKING OUT EVERY BIT OF AGGRESSION HE HAS! JAKE DROPS OFF THE MIDDLE ROPE, AND BRINGS TOHRU TO THE CENTER OF THE RING, PLANTING HIM WITH A NECKBREAKER! COVER IS MADE, HOOKING THE LEG!
ONNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!
TWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!
THHHH-
Flannery McCoy: KICKOUT! Jake pounds the mat in anger, and yells for Tohru to get up! Tohru begins to stir, slowly returning back to his feet.
Jake Mercer: Don’t turn around!! Don’t turn around!!
Stew-O: STARMAKE- BOBA BOMB! TOHRU COUNTERS THE JUMPING CUTTER WITH A SPINNING SIT-OUT POWERBOMB! TOHRU HOLDS IT FOR THE COVER!
ONNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEE!!
TWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOO!!
THHHHHHHRRRRRRREEEEEEEEE-
Flannery McCoy: KICKOUT! JAKE SMITH KICKED OUT!, GETTING THE SHOULDER UP! BUT THAT SAME INTENSITY WE SAW OUTTA HIM, WERE STARTING TO SEE OUT OF TOHRU AS RICKY ENCOURAGES HIM TO FINISH JAKE OFF!
Stew-O: TOHRU PULLS JAKE UP, AND GOES TO PLANT HIM WITH THE EMERALD TIGER DRIVER! BUT AFTER GETTING BOTH ARMS HOOKED, JAKE TWIRLS OUT OF IT, AND LIFTS TOHRU UP ON HIS SHOULDERS FOR A USHIGOROSHI! JAKE LAYS TOHRU FLAT, AND HOOKS THE LEG FOR A COVER!
ONNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!
TWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!
THHHH-
Jake Mercer: TOHRU GETS THE SHOULDER UP! Jake shakes his head, in shock that Tohru managed to kick out of that, but ultimately stays focused, and rises to his feet, backing to the corner. Jake lowers a kneepad, and watches as Tohru gets to both knees.
Stew-O: Tohru has zero idea where he is, and Jake charges in for Kaioken! BUT TOHRU POPS UP TO HIS FEET, AND CATCHES JAKE WITH A SUPERKICK! JAKE STAGGERS BACK INTO THE CORNER, AND COMES STUMBLING INTO A KICK TO THE GUT, FOLLOWED BY A BRAINBUSTER! TOHRU HOOKS THE LEG!
ONNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!
TWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOO!!
THHHHHHRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEE-
Flannery McCoy: JAKE KICKS OUT! Tohru stands himself up, and signals the beginning of the end, ready to put Jake Smith away. Jake rises to all fours, and Tohru grabs him from behind with a rear waistlock. Tohru pulls Jake up to his feet, AND DRIVES HIM STERNUM FIRST INTO THE TOP TURNBUCKLE FOR A CHAOS THEORY!
Stew-O: BUT JAKE HOLDS ON TO THE TOP ROPE, AND TOHRU ROLLS THROUGH TO HIS FEET! TOHRU MARCHES TOWARD JAKE, BUT GETS CAUGHT WITH A BACK KICK TO THE MIDSECTION, DOUBLING HIM OVER! JAKE SPRINGS OFF THE MIDDLE ROPE FOR A SUNSET FLIP!
Flannery McCoy: JAKE ROLLS TOHRU THROUGH TO HIS FEET, AND HOISTS HIM UP FOR A POWERBOMB! TOHRU SLIPS OFF HIS SHOULDERS, AND CHARGES JAKE FOR A SPEAR! JAKE SIDESTEPS, SENDING TOHRU SHOULDER FIRST INTO THE RINGPOST!
Stew-O: TOHRU STUMBLES OUT OF THE CORNER, CLUTCHING AT HIS SHOULDER, AND GETS CAUGHT WITH THE STARMAKER! STARMAKER CONNECTS! STARMAKER CONNECTS!!
Flannery McCoy: JAKE SLITHERS INTO THE COVER, HOOKING BOTH LEGS DEEP!
ONNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!
TWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!
THHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEE!!
(DING! DING! DING!)
Stephie Love: HERES YOUR WINNER… JAKE SMITH!
(‘Stop Breathing’ by Playboi Carti plays, and Jake Smith rises to his feet, having a hand raised in victory by the referee. Tohru rolls outside the ring, and Ricky blows a gasket, upset that Prince Tohru lost.)
Stew-O: What a win for Jake Smith, earning himself a spot in the Extreme Elimination Chamber!
Jake Mercer: You know what that means, right?
Flannery McCoy: This means that Jake Smith once again has an opportunity to become World Champion.
Stew-O: And if that happens at Road to Redemption, you might as well be calling this the Jake Smith show.
(The camera fades elsewhere as Jake Smith poses on the middle rope.)
(A commercial plays for Road to Redemption, which will take place live on December 10 and 11, 2023 in Mexico City, Mexico!)
(Friday Night Dynasty returns from a commercial break, but rather than getting right back into any immediate action, what begins to play is a video instead. It’s a replay of the ending to the last edition of Saturday Night Showdown where Sheridan Muller is found unconscious and bloodied backstage in the locker room, an attack which viewers learn from an announcement made by Mikaela Street on Fight Grid has thrown Sheridan’s match against The Visual Prophet at The Last Stand into jeopardy! But it’s quickly followed up with the announcement that Kennedy Street has managed to find an opponent for The Visual Prophet, who happens to turn out to be SOSA Henderson of Friday Night Dynasty! Between action of their matches from over the years, and coming more recently to Viz’s attack on SOSA earlier this year, the match at The Last Stand is announced to be No Disqualification and the match graphic appears.)
(It’s then backstage that a camera begins to pull away from a screen playing the same ad and the video has stopped on the match graphic, and standing off to the side is SOSA Henderson. He’s wearing dark shades over his eyes while having watched the video package and he slowly turns toward the camera, nodding his head as he points to the screen.)
SOSA Henderson: Well, look who had to step up and go to a whole other show to help out The Visual Prophet’s career again! I was probably not the person people expected to show up but I mean, it’s obvious that they needed someone to come in and replace Sheridan Muller after someone took her out – and they knew there wasn’t anyone better than SOSA Henderson himself for the job. I know with qualifying for the Extreme Elimination Chamber coming up everyone’s wondering if I can balance that, focus on getting another shot at the World Heavyweight Championship, and becoming a two-time World Champion on top of going against Viz, and the answer to all that is gonna be a resounding yes. I know I didn’t get it back at House of Glass but that doesn’t mean it’s the end of the world at all. I’m gonna secure my spot tonight over Chris and then I’m gonna go all the way in the Chamber. My history surrounding the Extreme Elimination Chamber hasn’t always been pleasant but I know I don’t have to let that affect me, I can turn that around and show that history ain’t gonna dictate how I can still come out on top. I’ve shown in my career – in my life – that the past can stay in the past and that I’m more than capable of changing the narratives about who any of these people wanna assume who I am or who they think I’m “supposed” to be. But when it comes to history, there’s still something else that’s been bothering me and that’s how I still haven’t made up for what The Visual Prophet did to me.
(SOSA seems contemplative for a moment and after the video package for his upcoming match, it’s not hard for the viewers to figure out just what exactly he could be talking about.)
SOSA Henderson: I was taken out of EAW for months by the same man that I was supposed to be standing side by side with as the Unified Tag Team Champions. Any other time, anyone else would’ve been in a hurry working to get payback over the person who took them out and been relentless about it – but that wasn’t me this time around. I let months go by and the chance to really get one back over on Viz slipped away when I was sitting back doing a lot of thinking about how everything had come to that point. I know I’m on record saying that what Viz did to me was a wake up call and it’s even more disappointing that I needed one, because it shouldn’t have taken that for me to know that I wasn’t going out there at my best or really giving it my all; I should’ve been doing a whole hell of a lot better knowing who I was working with. But still, I missed out on a lot – matches, opportunities, moments that all could’ve been my time to shine and remind people that SOSA Henderson is always gonna be remembered as one of the greats. I couldn’t go out the way that I did, which was why I came back looking to make people forget all about how the last time they saw me. This wasn’t something that I had planned on doing this soon – I knew mine and Viz’s paths were gonna have to cross at some point or another, and I wasn’t scared of that idea at all, but once this door opened up I knew I couldn’t just let it pass me by.
SOSA Henderson: Look at what I’ve been doing since I came back and tell me that I’m not putting in the work, making an effort to stand out over everyone else. I’m Bronson Daniels’ toughest and best defense yet just because of the energy that only I could bring; a win over me basically just gave him just some of the credibility he was looking for. I’ve been one of the survivors of the Brand Warfare Match at Territorial Invasion even though people wanted to doubt whether or not I’d be able to bring that kinda energy to the table so that Friday Night Dynasty could win that night. What ended up happening to me for me to come back the way that I have been was almost kind of like doing me a favor, but now I’m gonna return that favor to Viz my own way because everyone knows that the two of us in the same ring is gonna get all eyes on the match – and he can thank me for bringing more attention to him again than he would’ve ever gotten going against Sheridan. Hell, I was part of the reason that Soul Food Sunday was even partially successful as it was because it turned out that he couldn’t rely on Serena or Astraea, and there I was to do my part even if it all didn’t pan out the way either of us probably had in mind. So, I’ve been putting in the work, putting in the time and I’m already feeling like I’m prepared to take on whatever the hell is gonna come my way because who the hell else is gonna be competing at the pace that I am and in the way I’m doing it? People can’t say that I’m ducking them, they can’t say that I don’t wanna put in the effort when I’ve been doing all that I have. I’m shutting everybody up who said that SOSA doesn’t have it in him anymore, and I’m gonna be shutting everyone who wanted to think that I was avoiding confronting the man who took me out.
(SOSA raises his glasses away from his eyes and leaves up on top of his head, looking right into the camera.)
SOSA Henderson: Look in my eyes and tell me if I seem like a guy who’s just gonna try and coast or not give his best effort this time around. Tell me that I’m not as good as I am coming back into this with even more room to elevate myself. See, I didn’t forget about what happened and that’s always been in the back of my mind, but now is the perfect chance for me to get my get back. I’m exactly the kind of competitor that Viz needs to face because this is something that I’ve been waiting on and no one was ever gonna come at him the way that I’m about to. But that’s why when we do meet in that ring, I’m not leaving until I get that win over him once and for all to put an end to something that’s been eating away at me for far too damn long.
(There’s an intensity in SOSA’s eyes as he looks right into the camera, speaking not just to The Visual Prophet but also those that he surely has to know doubt him. Looking ready to make good on his words, SOSA walks away from the scene with the camera zooming back in on the match graphic for SOSA’s match at The Last Stand. From there, the scene fades out.)
(Dynasty returns to ringside, where Stephie Love is seen with a microphone in her hand.)
Stephie Love: Ladies and gentlemen… The following contest is an EXTREME ELIMINATION CHAMBER QUALIFYING MATCH, SCHEDULED FOR ONE FALL!!!
Crowd: ONE FALL!!!!!
(‘Faneto’ by Chief Keef hits, and there’s a more mixed reaction as SOSA Henderson begins walking out to the stage. SOSA has a focused look on his face, as while he’s always been the confident type, he knows what’s on the line tonight and after House of Glass, he doesn’t want to miss out on this. SOSA doesn’t waste much time, heading to the ring as the fans continue to both cheer and boo.)
Stephie Love: Introducing first… From Philadelphia, Pennsylvania… Weighing in at 191 pounds… SSSOOOOOOSSSSAAAAAA HHHHEEEENNNDDEERRRRSSSOONNNNN!!!!!!!!
Stew-O: SOSA Henderson was unable to become the World Heavyweight Champion at House of Glass, but if he can win tonight he’ll have a second chance very soon at Road to Redemption!
Jake Mercer: SOSA was SO close to finally ending Bronson’s reign, but that’s fine. At Road to Redemption Bronson loses his title, and it might just be SOSA that takes it from him!
(‘Invincible’ by Pop Smoke hits, and this causes loud cheers to come from the crowd. Chris Elite begins heading out to the stage, and he takes a moment to look at the ring, where SOSA Henderson is standing. Chris looks ready for the match, and much like SOSA there’s another level of focus knowing that this is a qualifying match for the Extreme Elimination Chamber. Chris walks down the ramp as Stephie begins to speak.)
Stephie Love: And his opponent… From Brooklyn, New York… Weighing in at 210 pounds… CCHHRRRIIISSSSS EEEEELLLIIIIITTTEEE!!!!!
Stew-O: Chris Elite on the other hand won his match at House of Glass, and we saw the conversation that occurred directly after, leading to this match tonight.
Jake Mercer: We also saw a conversation Chris had with Joso earlier on. It makes me wonder how Chris is feeling heading into the match. He looks focused, but for his sake he can’t let that get to him.
(Ding! Ding! Ding!)
Stew-O: AND HERE WE GO! This Extreme Elimination Qualifier is underway, and this is a very interesting match as these two have faced off in some major matches, including a match at Pain for Pride! These two Elitists must know each other pretty well thanks to the matches they’ve had in the past, and right now we’re seeing both Elitists circle the ring, waiting for the right opening to make a move! Chris and SOSA are both very talented Elitists, to the point where the first move they make could leave a huge impact on this match!
Jake Mercer: SOSA GRABS CHRIS BY THE ARM AND TRIES TO PULL HIM INTO A HEADLOCK, BUT CHRIS LIFTS HIM UP- JUST FOR SOSA TO FLIP OUT OF ELITE’S GRASP! SOSA now grabbing Chris from behind before looking for a German suplex, BUT NOW IT’S CHRIS LANDING ON HIS FEET, AND NOW LOOK! JUST AS SOSA GETS BACK UP CHRIS LOOKS FOR THE BOX OFFICE SMASH- BUT SOSA IS ABLE TO DUCK UNDER IT! SOSA LOOKS FOR A SUPERKICK OF HIS OWN, BUT CHRIS CATCHES THE LEG! CHRIS NOW SPINNING SOSA AROUND, BEFORE HITTING HENDERSON WITH AN ENZUIGIRI! SOSA STUMBLES INTO THE CORNER, AND NOW CHRIS IS FIRED UP!
Flannery McCoy: Chris Elite now running to the corner- BUT SOSA GETS THE BOOT UP! Chris stumbles backwards as SOSA pulls himself up to the middle rope, AND SOSA DIVES- BUT CHRIS RUSHES OVER TO THE CORNER AS SOSA IS FORCED TO DIVE OVER HIM! SOSA rolls back to his feet before turning around, AND NOW CHRIS ELITE CHARGES IN- BUT SOSA DUCKS DOWN AND LIFTS CHRIS OVER THE TOP ROPE, SENDING HIM OUT TO RINGSIDE! This is exactly what Stew-O meant when he said the very first move could affect the outcome of the match, as these two have not slowed down whatsoever since getting started!
Stew-O: Chris Elite pushes himself back up as SOSA runs the ropes, AND THERE’S AN OVER THE TOP ROPE MOONSAULT PLANCHA- WAIT, NO! CHRIS ELITE SLIDES INTO THE RING, AVOIDING THE MOVE AS SOSA SOMEHOW MANAGES TO LAND ON HIS FEET! It looks like Chris didn’t slide into the ring for no reason though, AS HE JUMPS ONTO THE TOP ROPE, TAKING SOSA HENDERSON OUT WITH A SPRINGBOARD CROSSBODY!!! SOSA is down, and already this match has had a great start! These two are on fire, and it doesn’t look like Chris is slowing down as he immediately grabs SOSA and sends him into the ring!
Jake Mercer: Chris Elite hops on the apron as Chris Elite gets back up, AND CHRIS ATTEMPTS A SPRINGBOARD, BUT SOSA RUSHES IN AND PUSHES CHRIS’ LEGS OUT FROM UNDER HIM! CHRIS DROPS STOMACH FIRST ONTO THE TOP ROPE, BUT BEFORE HE EVEN HAS THE OPPORTUNITY TO REACT TO THE PAIN, SOSA SCOOPS HIM UP ONTO HIS SHOULDERS WITH A FIREMAN’S CARRY!! SOSA now bringing Chris into the center of the ring, AND THERE’S THE DEATH VALLEY DRIVER!!! SOSA HENDERSON NOW WITH THE COVER!
ONE!
TWO!!
Flannery McCoy: CHRIS ELITE KICKS OUT!! That may have been the first cover of the match but already it looks like these two are hitting each other with some big moves! Chris is slowly starting to push himself back up, meanwhile SOSA Henderon seems ready for something big! Right now these men are fighting for a shot to enter the World Heavyweight Championship Extreme Elimination Chamber and that’s not something to be taken lightly whatsoever! Chris makes it back to his feet, AND NOW SOSA RUNS THE ROPES BEFORE GOING FOR A SPEAR-
Stew-O: BUT CHRIS ELITE MANAGES TO LEAP OVER SOSA!!! SOSA BOUNCES OFF OF THE OPPOSITE PAIR OF ROPES AS CHRIS GETS BACK UP TO HIS FEET, AND SOSA CHARGES AT CHRIS- BEFORE BEING TAKEN OUT WITH AN ALMIGHTY PUSH!!! WHAT A MOVE BY CHRIS ELITE, USING ALL HIS STRENGTH TO SEND SOSA HENDERSON FLYING!!! Chris Elite now lifting SOSA up onto his shoulder before running to the furthest corner of the ring, AND CONNECTING WITH 44 BULLDOG!!! ANOTHER GREAT MOVE BY CHRIS AS SOSA SLOWLY STUMBLES OUT OF THE CORNER, AND NOW CHRIS RUNS THE ROPES BEFORE GOING FOR A-
Jake Mercer: SOSA DUCKS UNDER THE DISCUS LARIAT BEFORE RUNNING THE ROPES HIMSELF, AND NOW HE CONNECTS WITH A LARIAT OF HIS OWN, NEARLY TURNING CHRIS INSIDE OUT!!! SOSA Henderson needed that after those moves Chris connected with not too long ago, and now SOSA rolls out to the apron. Chris Elite is able to return to his feet, AND THIS GIVES SOSA THE OPPORTUNITY TO LOOK FOR A SPRINGBOARD- BUT CHRIS RUSHES TOWARDS THE ROPES AS SOSA DIVES OVER CHRIS, LANDING ON HIS FEET! SOSA NOW TURNING AROUND- AND HE’S MET WITH A JUMPING DDT!!!! CHRIS ELITE NOW HOOKING THE LEGS FOR THE COVER!
ONE!
TWO!!
Stew-O: AND IT’S NOT OVER JUST YET, SOSA MANAGED TO GET THE SHOULDER UP!!! SOSA is still in this match which means that Chris still has more work to do, but I’m not so sure that Chris cares as he has something else on his mind.
(Suddenly, ‘Trophies’ by Drake hits. This causes a loud reaction from the crowd, and Chris Elite looks confused as he looks up the ramp. Joso begins walking out as the cheers continue, and he begins to slowly walk down the ramp while Chris watches on, still unsure of why Joso is out here.)
Stew-O: Wait a minute, it looks like Joso is here! I’m not too sure what Joso could want to do with this match, but from the looks of it he’s not in any rush to get involved. Is he just here to watch!?
Jake Mercer: We saw he had a conversation with Chris Elite earlier. Maybe he’s just here to support Chris since Chris made the effort to cheer him up!
(Joso makes it down to ringside, simply watching as the match continues. Chris stares at Joso for a few seconds, before just shaking his head, choosing to turn his attention back to the match.)
Stew-O: It looks like Chris is choosing to regain his focus, as he knows just how important this match is! Chris lifts SOSA up before placing him on the top turnbuckle, and now Chris begins climbing up to the top rope! Chris clearly has something big in mind, and we know very well that it’s never safe when two Elitists are up on the top rope! Whatever Chris is planning could turn this match around entirely!
Jake Mercer: Chris Elite now setting up what looks to be a superplex, BUT SOSA HENDERSON STILL HAS LIFE IN HIM, AND HE QUICKLY BEGINS THROWING AS MANY PUNCHES AS HE CAN TO PREVENT THIS! You can really see how much these two want this win, as Chris is trying to go through with the move despite SOSA repeatedly punching him in the ribs! SOSA doesn’t stop though, and these strikes are starting to do the damage! Chris is forced to let go of SOSA as he can’t take the pain any longer, AND NOW SOSA SHOVES CHRIS OFF THE TOP ROPE!
Flannery McCoy: CHRIS LANDS ON HIS FEET THOUGH, AND NOW HE RUNS IN BEFORE JUMPING ALL THE WAY UP ONTO THE TOP ROPE!!!! WHAT AN INCREDIBLE MOVE THERE AS CHRIS PUTS HIS ATHLETICISM ON DISPLAY, AND I DON’T THINK SOSA EXPECTED THAT AT ALL AS HE’S UNABLE TO STOP CHRIS FROM SETTING UP THE SUPERPLEX!!!! CHRIS LIFTS SOSA UP, AND NOW THERE IT IS! THE SUPERPLEX CONNECTS, BUT IT LOOKS LIKE CHRIS ISN’T STOPPING THERE! CHRIS SOMEHOW MANAGES TO ROLL THROUGH, RETURNING TO HIS FEET WHILE HOLDING ONTO SOSA! CHRIS NOW LIFTING SOSA UP FOR A-
Stew-O: NO! SOSA SLIPS BEHIND CHRIS BEFORE LIFTING HIM UP FROM BEHIND, AND HE CONNECTS WITH A LUMBAR CHECK!!! THAT TAKES DOWN CHRIS ELITE, BUT SOSA ISN’T IN GOOD SHAPE EITHER AFTER THAT SUPERPLEX! I’m not sure how SOSA even found the strength to find a counter after getting hit with the superplex, but clearly he’s run out of that strength now as he’s struggling to get back up.
(While both men are down, Joso digs under the ring. He pulls out a pair of brass knuckles, sliding it into the ring. This causes mumbling to be heard amongst the fans, who are unsure of Joso’s intentions.)
Flannery McCoy: Did Joso just slide brass knuckles into the ring!?
Jake Mercer: Looks like it, but why now? Neither Chris nor SOSA even realizes it’s there.
Stew-O: That’s a good question. Joso’s motives seem pretty unclear to me, but while this is happening, it looks like SOSA is recovering. Ultimately SOSA decides to roll out to the apron once more, but from the looks of it, he once again has an idea on his mind while Chris is down and out!
Jake Mercer: SOSA Henderson begins climbing up to the top rope while Chris is down, and honestly it looks like we might be seeing the end of Chris in a few moments! SOSA had a chance to end Bronson Daniels’ reign of terror back at House of Glass but unfortunately was screwed over, but now he has the chance to make it to Road to Redemption and right that wrong! SOSA HENDERSON IS UP TOP, AND NOW HE DIVES ON CHRIS ELITE WITH THE SOSA BOMB!
Flannery McCoy: CHRIS GETS OUT OF THE WAY THOUGH! CHRIS WAS ABLE TO ROLL OUT OF THE WAY JUST BEFORE IT COULD CONNECT, AND NOW SOSA CRASHES ONTO THE MAT!
Stew-O: SOSA Henderson hit the mat hard and I can’t imagine that felt good. SOSA is slowly making his way back to his feet, BUT WHILE HE’S BUSY DOING THAT HE DOESN’T NOTICE CHRIS RUNNING THE ROPES!!! SOSA RETURNS TO HIS FEET, BUT NOT FOR LONG AS CHRIS IS ABLE TO TAKE HIM DOWN WITH THE OPP SPOTTER!!!! WHAT AN ELBOW BY CHRIS, WHO WASTES NO TIME DROPPING DOWN TO HOOK THE LEGS AS HE MAY JUST BE HEADING TO THE EXTREME ELIMINATION CHAMBER!!!
ONE!
TWO!!
THRE-
Jake Mercer: NO! NOT YET! THIS MATCH IS NOT OVER, AS SOSA HENDERSON WAS ABLE TO GET THE SHOULDER UP!!! It looks like it’ll take more than that to keep SOSA down, and that’s not a good thing for Chris Elite, who just used one of the bigger moves in his arsenal! It’s clear that SOSA wants this match, but from the looks of it Chris doesn’t plan to leave this match without a ticket to Road to Redemption! Chris heads out to the apron, and now he’s the one climbing to the top rope!
Flannery McCoy: AIMIN FOR THE MOON- NO! THIS TIME IT’S SOSA THAT ROLLS AWAY, ONLY IT LOOKS LIKE CHRIS EXPECTED THAT AS HE LANDED ON HIS FEET BEFORE CONNECTING WITH A STANDING MOONSAULT!! It doesn’t look like SOSA expected that one! Chris Elite clearly knows what he’s doing, and right now there’s a very good chance that he leaves this match with a spot in Dynasty’s Extreme Elimination Chamber! Chris now is slowly dragging SOSA up instead of going for another pin, and after all he’s already hit you have to wonder what else Chris could have in store!
Stew-O: IT LOOKS LIKE WE WON’T BE FINDING OUT JUST YET, AS SOSA WAS ABLE TO SHOVE CHRIS AWAY FROM HIM! SOSA SWINGS AT CHRIS BUT CHRIS IS ABLE TO DUCK UNDER IT! CHRIS NOW LOOKING FOR A STRIKE OF HIS OWN BUT NOW IT’S SOSA DUCKING UNDER IT! SOSA KICKS CHRIS TOWARDS THE MIDDLE OF THE RING AS BOTH ELITISTS NOW CHARGE AT EACH OTHER – AND CHRIS GOES FOR OPEN YA MATA BUT SOSA IS ABLE TO SIDESTEP IT BEFORE TAKING CHRIS DOWN WITH A JUMPING NECKBREAKER!!!! Great move by SOSA, who doesn’t go for the cover yet!
Jake Mercer: SOSA pulls Chris up before lifting him into a powerbomb position, BUT CHRIS SLIPS OUT OF SOSA’S GRASP BEFORE TRANSITIONING INTO A SUNSET FLIP! SOSA IMMEDIATELY KICKS OUT, BUT AS BOTH MEN ROLL TO THEIR FEET CHRIS IS ABLE TO GRAB SOSA AND PULL HIM IN! NOW IT’S CHRIS THAT’S LIFTING SOSA UP INTO A POWERBOMB POSITION- BUT SOSA IS ABLE TO ESCAPE AND LAND ON HIS FEET BEFORE DELIVERING A KNEE STRIKE! Chris Elite is on spaghetti legs, AND NOW SOSA RUNS THE ROPES BEFORE GOING FOR A- NO! BICYCLE KICK BY CHRIS ELITE, NEARLY DROPPING SOSA!
Flannery McCoy: SOSA IS ABLE TO RESPOND WITH A ROUNDHOUSE KICK THOUGH, AND CHRIS IS BARELY EVEN ABLE TO STAND NOW! CHRIS STUMBLES, AND NOW SOSA HENDERSON RUNS THE ROPES!!! CHRIS IS ABLE TO COME TO HIS SENSES AND SWING AT SOSA, BUT SOSA IS ABLE TO DUCK UNDER THE STRIKE BEFORE BOUNCING OFF THE OPPOSITE PAIR OF ROPES AND CUTTING THROUGH CHRIS WITH A SPEAR!!!
Jake Mercer: IT’S NOT AS AMAZING AS THE ONE ANDRE WALKER HITS, BUT IT MIGHT BE ENOUGH TO GET THE JOB DONE! SOSA HOOKS THE LEGS, TO ENTER THE EXTREME ELIMINATION CHAMBER AT ROAD TO REDEMPTION!!!
ONE!
TWO!!
THREE-
Stew-O: AND CHRIS ELITE IS ABLE TO KICK OUT!!!! SOSA HENDERSON HIT HIS SIGNATURE SPEAR, BUT CHRIS ELITE IS STILL IN THIS MATCH AND THEREFORE HAS A CHANCE OF MAKING IT TO ROAD TO REDEMPTION! This match really is important. With them competing in this qualifier, who knows what happens if they’re unable to win!? Neither Elitist wants to miss out on their chance to become a two time World Champion, but as good as this match has been, only one of these two talented men can win!
Jake Mercer: Yeah, and despite that great kickout it’s SOSA that’s still in control! SOSA has a huge opportunity to win this match, and Chris Elite is in a whole world of trouble! Joso may have chosen the wrong time to come support Chris!
Flannery McCoy: Chris Elite slowly drags himself into the corner, and it looks like he’s using the turnbuckles to pull himself up. SOSA allows it to happen, but I think he’s only doing it because he has a plan in mind! Chris gets back to his feet but is still using the turnbuckles to stand, AND NOW SOSA HENDERSON STARTS CHARGING IN! SOSA LOOKS FOR THE JUMPING SUPERKICK- BUT CHRIS IS BARELY ABLE TO DUCK UNDER IT!!!! CHRIS AVOIDS WHAT WOULD’VE BEEN THE FINISHING MOVE FROM SOSA, AND IT LOOKS LIKE IT’S NOW CHRIS ELITE’S TURN TO GO ON THE OFFENSIVE!
Stew-O: CHRIS GRABS SOSA FROM BEHIND BEFORE LIFTING HIM UP, BUT SOSA SLIPS BEHIND HIM BEFORE SENDING CHRIS INTO THE ROPES! CHRIS HOLDS ONTO THE ROPES THOUGH, AND NOW SOSA CHARGES IN- BEFORE BEING MET WITH A BOOT TO THE FACE! SOSA stumbles back as Chris heads towards him- AND SOSA RESPONDS WITH A FOREARM! CHRIS DELIVERS AN ELBOW STRIKE IN RESPONSE! SOSA NOW WITH A RIGHT HAND! NOW CHRIS WITH A RIGHT! NOW SOSA! NOW CHRIS! THESE TWO ARE GOING BACK AND FORTH, AND NOW THERE’S SOSA WITH A BIG BOOT!!!
Jake Mercer: WAIT A MINUTE, THOUGH! CHRIS FELL BACK INTO THE REFEREE, TAKING HIM DOWN!!! CHRIS ACCIDENTALLY COLLIDED WITH THE REFEREE, AND THAT MAY HAVE JUST PUT THE REST OF THIS MATCH IN JEOPARDY!!! The referee is down and out, and that’s not what either man wants! Joso is watching on, and I think both Chris and SOSA are surprised to see what just happened! They know that they can’t lose their focus though, SO SOSA GRABS CHRIS FROM BEHIND, LOOKING TO MAKE THE MOST OUT OF THE SITUATION AND CAPITALIZE OFF OF ELITE’S CONFUSION!
Flannery McCoy: CHRIS IS ABLE TO CONNECT WITH A FEW BACK ELBOWS THOUGH, AND THIS FORCES SOSA TO BACK AWAY FROM HIM! Chris turns around and looks for a clothesline, BUT SOSA DUCKS UNDER IT BEFORE JUMPING ONTO THE MIDDLE ROPE, LOOKING FOR A SPRINGBOARD- OPEN YA MATA!!!!! THE KNEE STRIKE CONNECTS, AND SOSA HENDERSON IS TAKEN RIGHT OUT OF THE SKY BY CHRIS ELITE!!!! THAT WAS A HUGE MOVE BY CHRIS, BUT THE REFEREE IS STILL DOWN!!!! Chris rushes over to check on the referee who is just beginning to stir, and I can’t even imagine how frustrating this must be to deal with!
Stew-O: Chris Elite just shakes his head before heading back over to SOSA Henderson, knowing that there’s no point in looking for a cover now! Chris starts dragging SOSA back up, and-
Flannery McCoy: WAIT A MINUTE!!! SOSA JUST PUNCHED CHRIS IN THE FACE, AND CHRIS JUST DROPPED TO THE MAT!!! CHRIS LOOKS LIFELESS RIGHT NOW, HE’S NOT MOVING AT ALL!! IT LOOKS LIKE SOSA JUST KNOCKED CHRIS OUT, BUT LOOK AT SOSA’S HAND!
Stew-O: IT’S THE BRASS KNUCKLES FROM EARLIER IN THE MATCH!!! SOSA MUST HAVE NOTICED THE BRASS KNUCKLES, AND HE TOOK ADVANTAGE OF THE SITUATION BY USING THEM TO DROP CHRIS ELITE!!! CHRIS IS UNCONSCIOUS, AND THE REFEREE DIDN’T SEE ANY OF IT AS HE WAS DOWN!!!!
Jake Mercer: Joso is still watching on, and I’m not sure how he feels right now, because he’s the one that slid those brass knuckles into the ring! SOSA Henderson just took advantage of a situation that was created by Joso, and now Chris Elite may just be missing out on the Extreme Elimination Chamber with the World Heavyweight Championship on the line! The referee is starting to wake up, and SOSA quickly removes the brass knuckles before throwing it back out to ringside, making sure the referee doesn’t notice!
Flannery McCoy: The referee gets back up to his feet as SOSA heads out to the apron before climbing up to the top rope, and as unfair as it is to say, it looks like Chris Elite won’t be heading to Road to Redemption! SOSA Henderson is up top, AND NOW HE DIVES OFF THE TOP ROPE, CONNECTING WITH PAID IN FULL!!! THE DIVING DOUBLE FOOT STOMP CONNECTS, AND JUST LIKE THAT THIS ONE IS OVER!!! SOSA HENDERSON GOES FOR THE COVER, AND THERE’S THE REFEREE TO COUNT!!!
ONE!
TWO!!
THREE!!!
(Ding! Ding! Ding!)
Stephie Love: Here is your winner… ADVANCING TO THE EXTREME ELIMINATION CHAMBER, SSSOOOOSSSAAAA HHHHEEEENNNDDDEEEERRRSSSOONNNN!!!!!!
(‘Faneto’ hits, and the fans are booing as SOSA Henderson rolls off of Chris Elite. They’re not happy that Chris lost, but they’re even more unhappy with how SOSA picked up the victory. SOSA slowly pushes himself back up to his feet and has his hand raised by the referee, meanwhile Joso can be seen looking down at the brass knuckles, which he brought into the match in the first place.)
Stew-O: SOSA Henderson has made it into the Extreme Elimination Chamber, but not without controversy! Joso was at ringside for a good portion of this match and ended up bringing out brass knuckles, but he never gave it to anyone specifically. This allowed SOSA to take advantage once he noticed it! Did Joso expect that to happen, or was this all a mistake!?
Jake Mercer: Whatever the case, Chris Elite won’t be in the Extreme Elimination Chamber, and I know he won’t be happy about it. We heard the conversation between Chris and Joso earlier. I’m sure the fact that Joso is even out here after that is enough to get Chris to start asking questions.
Flannery McCoy: Yeah. Chris definitely isn’t gonna be happy about this one, and I think everyone in this building is wondering the same thing. What has Joso done?
Stew-O: Congratulations to SOSA Henderson!
(SOSA Henderson rolls out of the ring, beginning to head up the ramp as the camera pans over to Joso. There is one last shot of him shown, before Dynasty fades away from ringside.)
(Dynasty fades to a pre-recorded segment. In the room is Stew-O. He offers a welcoming smile to the viewers as the shot focuses on him.)
Stew-O: EAW Universe, thank you for tuning in. House of Glass proved to be a memorable event as every match stood out. Many Elitists went through hell just to win, and one person who certainly has happened to be the reigning EAW World Heavyweight Champion: Bronson Daniels.
(The shot then shifts, paving way for a view of Bronson Daniels sitting in a chair across from Stew-O. Despite the pain he was in and the fact that his body was still recovering from an intense Glass Wallz match, he smiles. The EAW World Heavyweight Championship rests on his shoulders. Keen eyes can make out a few dried blood spots that decorate the gold plate.)
Stew-O: Bronson, I can still see that you’re recovering from that hellacious world heavyweight championship defense against SOSA Henderson, so I can’t thank you enough for agreeing to sit down with me.
Bronson Daniels: No problem. Not my first time I went to hell and back, surviving to tell the tale. I’ve just done the best I can with physical therapy and taking the time to let my body rest. It’s easier said than done; I’m the kind of guy who pushes through no matter what, but after that match? I definitely needed to slow down for a moment.
Stew-O: Maybe the championship could use a day for itself.
Bronson Daniels: Maybe. But then again, it tells quite the story, doesn’t it? At the very least, SOSA, Xander and others have given me some scars that will never truly go away, but I don’t mind it. I look at each mark and see the wars I’ve been able to won, reminding me of how much I’m willing to go in order to retain this. Likewise, every time I see the scratches and the blood that’s on this title, I’m reminded how much this truly means to me. Each fight is a battle I’m proud of winning. I don’t want them to be forgotten about.
Stew-O: Some powerful words there, Bronson. I guess, speaking of wars, we can start off by going over House of Glass. It was by far the most brutal title defense you had yet.
Bronson Daniels: Mhm. Goes without saying.
Stew-O: So many of us can only imagine what it’s like wrestling inside of Glass Wallz. With everything on the line as well, it was a do-or-die sort of situation with you. What exactly was it like to be competing in a match like that, being the defending champion and all?
Bronson Daniels: Well, it was definitely something. I knew heading in that it was going to be far from easy. I did everything I could to brace myself, knowing good and damn well that there was no way I was going to walk out of House of Glass scot-free. Some of my respect for SOSA did wan, but I wasn’t going to take him lightly. Not at all. I knew he was going to do all that he could to beat me, to show to the world that the man who once was at the pinnacle of EAW could do it all again, and he was going to try and achieve all of that and more at my expense. He sought to end my story so that he could rewrite his, but mine wasn’t destined to end. So long as I had the pen in my hand, I wasn’t going to let it go. I at least sympathized with him, and a part of me still does, because it’s absolute agony having people question your worth every single week, knowing that you can do more, that you were meant for more, but they keep knocking you down over and over again. However, if he ever reaches that spot again, it’s going to have to be when I am no longer the champion, and it’s going to be a long time before I lose this.
Bronson Daniels: He gave it his all. I’ll give him props for that. However, his hunger and drive could never overtake my own. I still want this. I still need this. This championship is every part of me as I am every part of it, and I was willing to bleed and go through all sorts of pain if it meant I would be able to keep it. Suffice to say, I did. I showed SOSA and the rest of the world how far I’m willing to go to remain the EAW World Heavyweight Champion. Glass Wallz was as violent as I imagined it to be, but all I thought about was making sure I did everything I could to walk out of it with the gold still around me. Even with SOSA stabbing me, battering some, ramming my head into the glass, I knew I had to push through and do everything I could to win. It was by far the toughest match that I had all year. Maybe even my entire career. But all of the other battles I’ve been through helped me prepare for it.
Stew-O: It was a hard-fought contest. Even now, everyone can see the lingering effects it had on you. However, you’re as resilient as they come, and that’s why so many people have been blown away with what you’ve been able to do thus far as the world heavyweight champion.
Bronson Daniels: Thank you. With all I had to deal with, I’m never gonna waver. That’s just that.
Stew-O: You do have a lot of heart. You pretty much embody what it means to be a true fighting champion. However, as admirable as that is, there is… a surfacing worry amongst the EAW Universe that you’ll ultimately crash and burn because of how hard you go week in and week out. Glass Wallz, Dome of Death, the unsanctioned match against Xander Payne — you never truly had a chance to rest. Some are wondering if your reign could be on borrowed time now since the chamber match will take a lot of you as well as the five others scraping to dethrone you for the title.
(Bronson gives Stew-O’s statements a thought.)
Bronson Daniels: … I guess I can see where they’re coming from. My body has been out through the fire, I can’t lie. I’m sure other people if they were in my position would feel slightly pessimistic about their chances. However, I couldn’t lost this title a lot sooner. The pain could’ve been so overbearing for me that I wouldn’t even be able to continue. Yet, I’m here, still the champion, and I plan on entering and leaving Road to Redemption as the champion no matter what. Besides, with how instrumental this event has been for me, I’m not going to let everything I’ve built up go to waste.
Stew-O: Want to elaborate on that point, about the importance of the event to you?
Bronson Daniels: I’ve delved into it before, but of course, last year I lost. I was in the final three with Limmy and Andre. I saw it as my moment for redemption given I lost to Andre at Justified Reckoning for this title. It was two of the worst losses I had to deal with, but Road to Redemption hurt more. I may be entering it as the champion now, but I’m not comfortable. I want more than anything else to win at this particular event. Being able to truly bounce back by winning this time around will make this all worth it for me. I get to rewrite history, and I see no better way of doing that than by being the last man standing by the end of the match.
Stew-O: Just like how the other five Elitists are looking to do the same thing.
Bronson Daniels: They are. Absolutely. But I’m ready for them. Doesn’t matter who they are. Even the ones who participated last year in the same match. I guess that’s why I’m even more determined to win, because I know we have people like Limmy, Ryan and Jay who are all vying to win this year. Limmy no doubt wants to be a back-to-back winner and find his way back to the top of this show. Everyone is looking to beat me, but I’m not gonna let them take this away from me. It’s as simple as that. I look forward to seeing what they all can do, especially when some of the people who could potentially qualify for this match weren’t the same competitors that they were a year ago. All of us have grown and evolved. Some of them want to be a world champion again while some want to experience that for the first time. And you know what? Perhaps someday they’ll be able to be world champions.
(Bronson looks down at his championship.)
Bronson Daniels: But will any of them get to se that dream come to fruition at Road to Redemption? No. Not if I have anything to say about it. I’ve faced all sorts of challenges and I’ve been able to overcome each one. That trend isn’t going to stop anytime soon, least of all at that event. It’s mine to win, and even if they manage to batter and hurt me, just like at House of Glass, Territorial Invasion, and Reckless Wiring, I will always, *always* get back up and win. Every. Single. Time.
Stew-O: Well, that emphasis of tackling challenges head on is apt for my final question to you. As you may already be aware, Tyrone Montgomery is suspended, paving the way for Richard Grant and Kensingten Calhoun-Astor to have complete control of Dynasty now. Those two were the reason why you’ve had to defend the world heavyweight championship on pretty much a bi-weekly basis. It’s clear that, for one reason or another, they don’t see you as their ideal world champion, yet you’ve been able to rise to the occasion and prove why it is that you are in this spot.
(Stew-O hesitates, but he presses on.)
Stew-O: Are you… worried at all that they could try and find some different way to stunt your title reign should you emerge victorious at Road to Redemption?
(Bronson pauses. He allows for the question to simmer within him for much time. He can recall the admitted nerves he used to have when the two made that announcement. It did feel like they were stacking the odds against him. He knew they couldn’t stand him.)
Bronson Daniels: No. Not at all. Maybe back then when they first made that announcement, I would get that dreaded feeling inside of me, like a knot in my stomach. I actually was a bit anxious at first. I worked tirelessly for years on and off to get to this position, so there was that underlying fear that all of this could’ve been ripped away from me.
Bronson Daniels: I’m not scared. Kensingten and Richard have tried to throw roadblocks my way, but I’ve been through a lot and enough to know how to keep pushing past those hurdles. I’ve defied them every step of the way. I’m still the champion, too. Whether they like it or not, I am the world champion here, and I lead Dynasty. I have four defenses underneath my belt. I’ve endured some of the toughest, violent and most soul-scathing matches of the entire year — and I *won*. I won those, Stew-O. I’m here, still ready to give it my all every match, and I’m not gonna let Kensingten or Richard try to deny me of this fate I’ve worked so hard to get. Road to Redemption won’t change that. Instead, I will see to it that I am redeemed entirely at that event, and I will still be the EAW World Heavyweight Champion, through hell or high water.
(Bronson’s grip around the title tightens. There’s a surge of determination coursing through his veins. Impassioned, he doesn’t want to lose it. His eyes fall to the gold that shines on his shoulders before taking a deep breath.)
Bronson Daniels: No one is taking this away from me, and I mean it.
(A brief blanket of silence covers the two men. Stew-O sees the genuine passion in Bronson’s eyes. He nods, as if he understood how much this all meant for him.)
Stew-O: Bronson, thank you for your time.
(Bronson seems to come back to his senses. He offers a faint smile.)
Bronson Daniels: It’s been my pleasure, Stew-O.
(Stew-O smiles back. His attention diverts to the camera, with the shot slowly zooming in on him.)
Stew-O: Well, you heard it for yourselves, EAW Universe: Bronson Daniels is ready for Road to Redemption, and he’s looking to win, capping off an incredible year by remaining the world heavyweight champion.
(Stew-O smiles as Dynasty fades to its final commercial for the evening.)
(A commercial plays for Showdown’s The Last Stand, emanating live from Tokyo, Japan on November 4!)
(The camera returns to the ring where Stephie Love is standing with a microphone as she is ready to start the introductions for tonight’s main event match.)
Stephie Love: Ladies and gentlemen, this next contest is scheduled for ONE FALL!
Crowd: ONE FALL!
Stephie Love: AND IT IS AN EXTREME ELIMINATION CHAMBER QUALIFYING MATCH!
(‘Number One’ by Shirō Sagisu & Hazel Fernandes starts to play as Limmy Monaghan enters the arena to cheers from the crowd. He is ready for this match as he heads to the ring.)
Stephie Love: Introducing first and making his way to the ring. Residing in Golden Beach, Florida! Weighing 227 pounds! Here is “THE CZAR” LIMMY MONAGHAN!!
Jake Mercer: THE CZAR IS HERE!! I COULDN’T BE MORE EXCITED!! But here is heading to the ring for a chance to qualify for the Extreme Elimination Chamber.
Flannery McCoy: Limmy has certainly got to be feeling good after picking up the fall in the “Glass of Your Choice” match last week at House of Glass. Tonight, he could pick up another fall to qualify for the Extreme Elimination Chamber.
Stew-O: Limmy is a former World Champion and would absolutely love to get another shot at World Championship gold, but he has to make it through a very challenging opponent.
(“Enemy Strike” by YUKI HAYASHI starts to play as Myles enters the arena. Myles is staring straight down the entrance ramp as he is ready for this match and heading right to the ring.)
Stephie Love: Introducing his opponent! From Melbourne, Australia! Weighing in at 225 pounds. Here is “PEAK” MYLES!
Stew-O: Here comes another member of the victorious team at House of Glass in Myles and just like Limmy, he would love to win this match and be the one who qualifies for the Extreme Elimination Chamber.
Jake Mercer: I just hope to gawd he doesn’t bring that glass boomerang to the ring again like he did at House of Glass. I don’t want him slicing up the Czar’s face.
Flannery McCoy: This is a Pain for Pride rematch of sorts. Limmy got the victory then and Myles would love to even the score and qualify for the Chamber at Limmy’s expense. Which competitor will earn themselves a spot in the Extreme Elimination Chamber? We are about to find out.
(Myles enters the ring and takes his corner as his entrance music fades off. The referee checks both competitors before calling for the bell. )
(DING! DING! DING!)
Stew-O: Here we go! The bell sounds and our main event is underway. Two former World Champions colliding so they can be the next competitor in the Extreme Elimination Chamber. This is going to be a great match.
Flannery McCoy: Myles and Limmy lock up in the center of the ring as one man is trying to overpower the other, but these two are of similar size and strength and they know each other pretty well from their match at Pain for Pride months ago.
Jake Mercer: THE CZAR WILL WIN AND NOBODY WILL TELL ME ANY DIFFERENTLY! But these two are at a stalemate at the moment and they are just glaring at each other. Not because of hate… because who could hate The Czar… but because of how intense these competitors are and things are only just starting to heat up.
Flannery McCoy: Myles and Limmy lock up once again in the center of the ring AND IT IS MYLES WITH A KNEE TO THE GUT DOUBLING LIMMY OVER AND GIVING HIM THE EARLY ADVANTAGE!
Stew-O: Gotta give Myles credit for using his veteran instinct to do a move like that AND NOW HE IS JUST CLOBBERING LIMMY’S BACK, BUT LIMMY POPS BACK UP AND CHOPS MYLES ACROSS THE CHEST!
Jake Mercer: Be careful, Czar! With the big balloons Myles has on his chest, the chops are liable to bounce back and hit you in the face or something. No need for a backfire this early in the match.
Flannery McCoy: What in the hell is wrong with you because that comment was unnecessary and a little bit creepy. But that chop didn’t really faze Myles that much AS HE COMES BACK WITH A RIGHT HAND THAT STAGGERS LIMMY BACK!
Stew-O: Myles is not going to be playing around here in this match because he knows how dangerous of a competitor Limmy can be when given an opening and he is going to make sure that doesn’t happen as he fires Limmy to the ropes–
Jake Mercer: AND LIMMY DUCKS THE ELBOW ATTEMPT BY MYLES AS HE HITS THE ROPES ON THE OTHER SIDE! Myles tries to turn around quickly, BUT HE IS IMMEDIATELY MET WITH A DROPKICK TO THE FACE BY THE CZAR!
Stew-O: Myles taken down to the mat with that dropkick and just like that, Limmy is now in control. Limmy brings Myles back to his feet and grabs his head BEFORE LIFTING HIM UP IN THE AIR!
Flannery McCoy: A lot of power being shown by Limmy as he just keeps Myles up there and lets the blood rush to Myles’ head AND NOW THE CROWD HAS STARTED A COUNT FOR HOW LONG MYLES IS BEING HELD UPSIDE DOWN!
Crowd: (off-mic) FIFTEEN! SIXTEEN! SEVENTEEN! EIGHTEEN! NINETEEN! TWENTY!
Jake Mercer: The crowd reaches twenty AND LIMMY FINALLY BRINGS MYLES DOWN WITH THAT REALLY DELAYED VERTICAL SUPLEX! That’s the power of The Czar on display right there. Myles lands hard on his back AND LIMMY GRABS HIS ANKLE FOR AN EARLY ANKLE LOCK!
Flannery McCoy: Submission by Limmy early on in this match and that caught Myles off guard for a second before he rolls forward AND SENDS LIMMY THROAT FIRST INTO THE TOP ROPE!
Stew-O: Probably a little too early in this match to be attempting any submissions, but Limmy is holding his throat while Myles is back up to his feet and CLOBBERS LIMMY WITH A BACK ELBOW THAT SENDS LIMMY THROUGH THE MIDDLE ROPE AND ONTO THE APRON!
Jake Mercer: The Czar is back to his feet on the apron AND HERE COMES MYLES WITH A SHOULDER TACKLE TO SEND OUR CZAR FLYING, BUT THE CZAR GETS OUT OF THE WAY AND MYLES IS IN BETWEEN THE ROPES—
Flannery McCoy: AND LIMMY WITH A STRAIGHT KICK TO THE FACE! OH MY GAWD! THAT COULD HAVE BROKEN MYLES’ NOSE WITH THAT SHOT! Myles falls through the ropes and he is now on the apron!
Stew-O: Limmy is going to take full advantage of the situation by bringing Myles back to his feet and grabbing his head BEFORE SPIKING HIM ON THE RING APRON WITH THE HEADLOCK DRIVER! AGAIN ON HIS FACE!
Jake Mercer: The Czar has such a killer instinct, literally and figuratively. Now Myles has rolled off the apron holding his face in pain once more after kissing the hardest part of the ring as the Czar hops off the apron and walks over to Myles–
Stew-O: AND KICKS HIM RIGHT IN THE RIBS WITH THAT SOCCER STYLE PUNT! These two do know each other very well, so we had to figure that these two were going to kick things up a notch to get the win over the other.
Flannery McCoy: After those damaging shots, Limmy is back in control as he brings Myles back to his feet and applies the waistlock. LIMMY LOOKING FOR A GERMAN SUPLEX ON THE FLOOR–
Jake Mercer: AND MYLES LANDS ON HIS FEET BEHIND THE CZAR! HOW DID HE MANAGE THAT? Limmy doesn’t have a chance to turn around and grabs him by the back of the tights AND SENDS LIMMY SHOULDER FIRST INTO THE RING STEPS! THAT WASN’T COOL!
Flannery McCoy: But it was effective and Limmy certainly felt that one as Myles rolled back into the ring to break the count before rolling out to start a new count. Now Myles is back in the ring. What does he have planned?
Stew-O: He’s making a few of us a little dizzy that’s for sure. But Limmy is starting to get back to his feet and Myles hits the far ropes full speed before running back AND FLYING THROUGH THE ROPES WITH A SUICIDE DIVE TAKING LIMMY BACK DOWN TO THE FLOOR!
Jake Mercer: I am such a huge supporter of The Czar, but I can give Myles a lot of credit. He is very good at what he does and he is not afraid to fly if the opportunity presents itself. Unfortunately, it was poor Limmy who was the victim of the suicide dive.
Flannery McCoy: He is willing to put his body on the line if it means getting himself one step closer to victory. Right now, Myles is first back to his feet after both men were down for a moment. He quickly grabs Limmy and rolls him back into the ring at the count of eight.
Stew-O: Myles slides back in the ring at the ref’s nine count and barely breaks the count. Myles grabs Limmy and drags him to the corner BEFORE JUST TOSSING HIM ACROSS THE RING WITH THAT BIEL THROW! LIMMY GOT SOME AIR TIME AND SOME DISTANCE WITH THAT THROW!
Jake Mercer: I guess there are some benefits to throwing boomerangs most of your life. You get a powerful throwing arm and poor Czar was launched from one corner to the other. Limmy is trying to recover as he gets back to his feet in the corner–
Stew-O: AND MYLES CLOBBERS HIM WITH A CLOTHESLINE! But Limmy is still on his feet and MYLES IS NOW JUST BEATING THE CRAP OUT OF LIMMY WITH LEFTS AND RIGHTS IN THE CORNER!
Flannery McCoy: Referee is telling Myles to get Limmy out of the corner before starting a five count… and he breaks on four. Myles can have a very hot temper on occasion and the little beatdown in the corner was a small glimpse of that.
Jake Mercer: Myles better not become a hothead in this match or he’ll get disqualified and screw everything up for himself and lose out on the Extreme Elimination Chamber. Which I wouldn’t be too broken hearted about as Myles lifts The Czar up onto the top turnbuckle.
Flannery McCoy: Of course you would feel so badly for Myles. Anyways, Myles now climbs up to the second and grabs Limmy’s head. MYLES IS TRYING TO MUSCLE LIMMY UP FOR A SUPERPLEX!
Stew-O: BUT LIMMY IS FIGHTING BACK! Limmy is throwing right hands of his own to try and get free. AND HE DOES BEFORE SMASHING MYLES’ HEAD AGAINST THE TURNBUCKLE!
Jake Mercer: Limmy forces Myles’ head to stay on the turnbuckle as Limmy gets to his feet. Limmy has something dangerous planned AS HE ROLLS OFF THE TURNBUCKLE AND BACK TO THE MAT!!
Flannery McCoy: Limmy has hold of Myles AND PULLS MYLES OFF THE ROPES AND WALKS THEM BOTH TO THE CENTER OF THE RING AND PLANTING MYLES WITH A POWERBOMB!
Stew-O: That was a powerful spine shaking powerbomb as Limmy stacks Myles up for the cover!
ONNNNNNNNNNNNEEEE!
TWWWWWWWWOOOOO!
TTHHHHHRRRREEEE—
Jake Mercer: MYLES KICKS OUT AT TWO! Are you sure the referee wasn’t counting just a little bit slow on that because I was sure that was a three count.
Stew-O: Jake, it was a two count and you know it. That was just the first cover of the match and you know it’s going to take more than that to keep Myles… or Limmy for that matter… down for the three count.
Flannery McCoy: Limmy is back on his feet and he grabs Myle’s legs as he tries to roll him over for a Boston Crab, BUT MYLES STILL HAS SOME FIGHT IN HIM AS HE IS DOING WHATEVER HE CAN TO MAKE SURE THAT LIMMY DOESN’T LOCK THE SUBMISSION IN!
Jake Mercer: I have already told you guys that The Czar is a very ruthless and relentless competitor. Myles fighting back isn’t going to be enough to stop Limmy from hitting whatever move he wants.
Flannery McCoy: Oh yeah? Look at what just happened! Myles was able to stay on his back and kick Limmy away. Limmy hits the ropes AND GRABS MYLES’ LEGS AGAIN! THIS TIME HE FLIPS OVER FOR A JACKKNIFE PIN–
Stew-O: BUT MYLES GETS THE SHOULDER UP BEFORE THE COUNT CAN BEGIN! Limmy loses grip of the legs and Myles has a waistlock AND BOTH MEN BRIDGE UP BEFORE THE REF CAN COUNT ANOTHER COVER! NICE POWER SHOWN BY BOTH MEN!
Jake Mercer: NOOOOOO! MYLES HAS HOLD OF THE CZAR STILL AND LIFTS HIM UP IN THE AIR FOR A POWERBOMB OF HIS OWN! BUT LIMMY IS FIGHTING BACK WITH SHOTS TO THE HEAD! WHEW!
Flannery McCoy: Myles is now starting to back up close to the corner BEFORE HE TOSSES LIMMY OVER HIS HEAD AND LIMMY GOES FACE FIRST INTO THE TOP TURNBUCKLE! ALLEY OOP STYLE MOVE INTO A MODIFIED SNAKE EYES BY MYLES!
Stew-O: Limmy comes stumbling out of the corner into the waiting arms of Myles who locks his arms around Limmy’s waist AND DROPPING HIM WITH THAT HIGH ANGLE GERMAN SUPLEX! GOOD GAWD! WHAT A LANDING LIMMY HAD!
Jake Mercer: The poor Czar landed on the back of his head and neck! Good grief there’s no need to try and injure him like that. The force of the suplex had Limmy turned head over heels. Our poor Czar is trying to shake the cobwebs off as Myles comes running in towards Limmy–
Stew-O: LIMMY STANDS UP AND LOOKS TO SEND MYLES OVER THE TOP ROPE, BUT MYLES HOLDS ON… WAIT! LIMMY GRABS MYLES BY THE WAIST AND PULLS HIM AWAY FROM THE ROPES—
Flannery McCoy: LIMMY THROWS MYLES OVER HIS HEAD AND DROPS HIM WITH AN OVERHEAD BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEX! MYLES LANDS HARD ON HIS BACK! Myles is sitting up AND LIMMY KICKS HIM HARD RIGHT IN THE SPINE!
Jake Mercer: Now The Czar is starting to build up momentum now. Limmy goes over to the closest corner and climbs up onto the second rope as Myles pulls himself to a kneeling position AS LIMMY JUMPS OFF THE SECOND ROPE AND HITS A MISSILE DROPKICK TO THE BACK OF MYLES!
Flannery McCoy: That force of that kick sends Myles flipping forward as Limmy grabs Myles and hangs him on the top rope, BUT MYLES SLIDES OFF THE TOP ROPE AND LANDS ON THE APRON! Limmy runs in BUT MYLES CATCHES HIM IN THE FACE WITH A FOREARM!
Stew-O: Myles quickly runs over to the corner and climbs up to the turnbuckle as Limmy turns around AND MYLES JUMPS FROM THE TOP AND CONNECTS WITH THE DIVING METEORA! KNEES DRIVEN RIGHT INTO LIMMY’S FACE!
Jake Mercer: Both of Myles’ knees went straight into Limmy’s face as Myles grabs Limmy by the waist and lifts him over his shoulder in the Canadian Backbreaker position! What in the world does Myles have planned? PUT THE CZAR DOWN YOU BRUTE!
Flannery McCoy: I think you are about to get exactly what you asked for as Myles twists Limmy out of the Canadian Backbreaker AND RIGHT INTO A DDT THAT SPIKES LIMMY ON THE MAT! “WRATHFUL DAYSTAR” BY MYLES AS HE ROLLS LIMMY OVER INTO THE COVER!
ONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEE!
TWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOO!
THHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRREEEEEEEE–
Stew-O: LIMMY GETS THE SHOULDER UP BEFORE THREE! Myles doesn’t worry that Limmy kicked out and instead he goes right back on the attack by bringing Limmy back to his feet and whipping him to the ropes. Limmy comes back and MYLES TAKES HIM OVER WITH A BACK BODY DROP–-
Jake Mercer: Not so fast! Limmy was able to land on his feet behind Myles as Limmy jumps onto the ropes. Myles turns around AND LIMMY CLOBBERS HIM IN THE FACE WITH A SPRINGBOARD FOREARM TAKING MYLES DOWN! That’s what the Czar is all about.
Stew-O: Limmy once again building up the momentum to get back into this match as Myles gets back to his feet AND LIMMY TAKES HIM DOWN WITH A CLOTHESLINE! Myles bounces back up AND LIMMY TAKES HIM DOWN WITH ANOTHER CLOTHESLINE!
Flannery McCoy: Myles is back up again and LIMMY GOES FOR A BACK ELBOW, BUT MYLES DUCKS OUT OF THE WAY AT THE LAST SECOND! Myles quickly hits the ropes as Limmy turns around–
Jake Mercer: MYLES JUMPS INTO THE AIR TAKES LIMMY DOWN WITH THAT RUNNING HURRICANRANA! I can admit that I didn’t see that move coming from Myles. Creative offense. Reminds me of one match I watched in Tallahassee–
Flannery McCoy: The force of the hurricanrana sends Limmy back to his feet and he turns around once again to Myles, who whips Limmy to the ropes. Limmy with the rebound AND MYLES LIFTS HIM IN THE AIR FOR THE POP UP KNEE STRIKE–
Stew-O: MYLES WAS LOOKING FOR “VICTORIA”, BUT LIMMY AVOIDS IT IN THE AIR AT THE LAST SECOND BEFORE GRABBING HOLD OF MYLES’ HEAD AND COUNTERING INTO JUMPING TORNADO DDT!
Jake Mercer: The Czar pulling success in the threat of defeat as he spikes Myles right on his head and he is no doubt on Dream Street right now. Yet Myles is somehow still making it back to his feet. Maybe that DDT loosened a few screws in that head of his.
Flannery McCoy: Who knows? But all I know is that Limmy has a gleam in his eye like he is ready to go for the kill. Myles is almost back to his feet as LIMMY HITS THE ROPES–
Stew-O: AND HE COMES BACK WITH THE BICYCLE KNEE STRIKE RIGHT TO THE TEMPLE OF MYLES! “DIABLE JAMBE” BY LIMMY MONAGHAN AND MYLES LOOKS TO HAVE BEEN KNOCKED OUT COLD AS LIMMY FALLS FOR THE COVER!
ONNNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEE!
TWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOO!
THHHHHHHHHRRRRRREEEEE!
Jake Mercer: MYLES KICKED OUT AT TWO!! HOW? I MEAN LITERALLY HOW?!?!?! He got kicked in the head and somehow still managed to kick out before the three count. Damn! Limmy was dangerously close to winning this match and getting a trip to the Extreme Elimination Chamber.
Stew-O: As expected, these two are going to have to give everything they have in order to put away the other. This match has been very hard hitting and competitive as fitting for our main event here tonight as LIMMY IS NOW THROWING STRAIGHT FOREARMS INTO MYLES’ FACE!
Flannery McCoy: No ref count here as the forearms are completely legal and Limmy is just bashing Myles’ brains in for the time being before bringing Myles back to his feet.
Jake Mercer: The Czar isn’t exactly thrilled that he hasn’t put Myles away, but look at him still bring the fight to a former World Champion. Keep your cool, Limmy. You beat Myles before and you can beat him again.
Flannery McCoy: Limmy whips Myles to the ropes as Myles comes back AND LIMMY STRIKES WITH THE SLINGBLADE ACROSS THE THROAT TAKING MYLES BACK DOWN TO THE MAT! This time Limmy rolls Myles over AND LIMMY APPLIES THE STF! SUBMISSION APPLIED!
Stew-O: LIMMYIS WRENCHING ON THE NECK OF MYLES WITH THAT STF AND THERE’S NO DOUBT THAT MYLES IS TAKING SOME DAMAGE DUE TO THE PREVIOUS MOVES THAT HAVE HURT HIS HEAD AND NECK!
Jake Mercer: COME ON, CZAR!! KEEP UP THE INTENSITY AND YOU WILL WIN THIS MATCH! JUST A LITTLE BIT MORE AND YOU ARE GOING INTO THE CHAMBER!
Flannery McCoy: BUT MYLES IS STILL FIGHTING! HE IS USING WHATEVER POWER HE HAS LEFT TO TRY AND DRAG HIMSELF OVER TO THE ROPES TO BREAK THE HOLD!
Stew-O: MYLES IS CRAWLING WITH ALL HIS MIGHT AS LIMMY KEEPS WRENCHING MYLES’ NECK FURTHER AND FURTHER BACK AS THEY INCH CLOSER TO THE ROPES! LIMMY WANTS MYLES TO TAP OUT BEFORE HE REACHES THE ROPES!
Jake Mercer: WHERE IS MYLES FINDING THIS ENERGY FROM! WHO HIT THE DAMN RESET BUTTON ON HIM? COME ON!! HOW IS HE DRAGGING THE CZAR AFTER BEING DROPPED ON HIS HEAD?
Stew-O: I don’t know, but that’s exactly what Myles is doing right now. He is about an inch away from the ropes! ALL HE HAS TO DO IS REACH OUT FOR THE ROPES AND HE FOUND HIS SAVING GRACE!
Flannery McCoy: HE IS ABOUT A FINGERTIP AWAY FROM THE ROPES NOW AND MYLES HAS ONE SHOT TO GRAB THE ROPES AND FORCE… A… BREAK…
Jake Mercer: AND HE GOT IT! NOOOOOOO! Myles made it to the ropes and the referee is starting a count for Limmy to release the hold.
Flannery McCoy: Limmy is using almost all of the referee’s five count before releasing the STF and leaving Myles laying on the mat. Myles no doubt took a lot of damage from that submission as Limmy just grabbed a handful of Myles’ hair to bring him back to his feet.
Stew-O: Myles looking like an unconscious sack of potatoes right there and by the way Myles is looking, this might be the beginning of the end for Myles as Limmy looks ready to finish this match and finish off Myles.
Jake Mercer: Limmy forces Myles’ head down before lifting him up in the Crucifix position… OH YEAH!! LIMMY IS GETTING MYLES READY FOR “CLOUDBURST”! THE REFEREE CAN COUNT TO 100 IF LIMMY HITS THIS MOVE!
Flannery McCoy: “Cloudburst” is Limmy’s version of the Crucifix Piledriver and Jake is right… for once. If Limmy hits it, this match could be over for Myles–
Stew-O: BUT MYLES IS FIGHTING BACK! MYLES IS FIGHTING OUT OF THE CRUCIFIX AND HE FINALLY GETS FREE— WAIT!! NOT ONLY DID HE GET FREE, BUT HE MANAGED TO CONTORT HIS BODY ENOUGH TO GRAB LIMMY BY THE BACK OF THE NECK AND CATCH WITH THE DOUBLE KNEES TO THE NECK! WHAT A COUNTER!
Jake Mercer: HOW DOES HE KEEP DOING THAT? One second, he is on the verge of losing and the next second, he pulls off “Draco Meteor” on The Czar! I DON’T GET IT! But as much as I am not too happy about it, Myles rolls Limmy over and goes for the cover!
ONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEE!
TWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOO!
THHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRREEEEEEE!
Flannery McCoy: LIMMY GETS THE SHOULDER UP RIGHT BEFORE THREE AND MYLES IS A LITTLE SHOCKED! These two are throwing everything but the kitchen sink at each other.
Stew-O: Myles is slowly back to his feet as he grabs Limmy’s legs AS HE TRIES TO LOCK IN HIS INVERTED TEXAS CLOVERLEAF ON LIMMY–
Jake Mercer: NO “KRAKEN’S GRASP” FOR MYLES TODAY! Limmy kicks Myles away and Myles bounces off the ropes AS THE CZAR SPRINGS BACK TO HIS FEET AND DRIVES MYLES DOWN TO THE MAT WITH ANOTHER POWERBOMB!
Flannery McCoy: LIMMY PULLS MYLES UP AND GRABS HIS WRIST BEFORE CLOBBERING IN THE HEAD ONCE AGAIN! “IFRIT JAMBE” BY LIMMY MONAGHAN! NOW LIMMY PULLS DOWN THE ELBOW PAD!
Stew-O: Limmy is looking to end this match once and for all right here. Myles is struggling to move after that Kamigoye knee to the head, but Limmy is calling for him to get up.
Jake Mercer: You got that right. Limmy is looking to put Myles down once again with his “Divine Departure” elbow. That move is one step below the spear of our glorious Kaiser.
Stew-O: Myles is starting to get back to his feet and Jake is right… to a point. Only two people have survived it and Myles is one of them.
Flannery McCoy: Myles is almost back to his feet and Limmy is in predator mode. He wants some “Divine Departure”! Myles is up AND HERE COMES THE ELBOW!
Jake Mercer: NOOOOOOO! LIMMY DOESN’T GET A CHANCE TO EXECUTE THE ELBOW BECAUSE MYLES AVOIDS IT AT THE LAST SECOND AND HE GRABS HOLD OF LIMMY BEFORE LIFTING HIM UP IN THE AIR–
Stew-O: “DE FACTO” BY MYLES! SPINNING PUMPHANDLE SAMAON DROP DRIVES LIMMY DOWN HARD! LIMMY COULD BE OUT COLD AS MYLES TURNS AROUND AND GOES FOR THE COVER!
ONNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEE!
TWWWWWWWWWOOOOOO!
THHHHHHHRRRRRREEEEEE!
(DING! DING! DING!)
(“Enemy Strike” starts playing as Myles rolls off of Limmy as he catches his breath for a moment as Stephie Love announces the official decision.)
Stephie Love: Here is your winner… AND QUALIFYING FOR THE EXTREME ELIMINATION CHAMBER… MYLES!
Stew-O: What a match we just witnessed here tonight in our main event here tonight. Limmy was looking to make it two in a row, but Myles was able to pull through and even the score from Pain for Pride.
Jake Mercer: NOOOOO! THE CZAR LOST! My heart is broken, but at least it was Myles and not some other loser. It was a good match, though. :wowL
(Myles gets back to his feet as the referee raises Myles’ arm in victory before going back and checking on a still down Limmy.)
Flannery McCoy: Both men wanted this win very bad so they could be the one who qualified for the Chamber. Two former World Champions looking for a chance to recapture gold. Unfortunately one of these men had to win and one had to lose.
Jake Mercer: But you have got to give it up to The Czar. He brought the fight that he is becoming known for. Sure he came up a little short tonight, but he was very close to winning the match on a few occasions. This was a very even match.
(Limmy gets back to his feet and looks at Myles, who is still in the ring. Both are just looking at each other for a second before Limmy sticks his hand out for a shake. Myles looks for a second before returning the handshake and leaving the ring and heading to the back.)
Stew-O: It’s always appreciated to see a little bit of decorum and sportsmanship around here. You can look on Limmy’s face and see that this was a tough loss, but Limmy will no doubt bounce back. Congratulations to Myles on the victory and qualif— WHAT THE HELL?
(Limmy is leaning down in one of the corners trying to catch his breath as the crowd starts booing loudly as they see Andre Walker coming out from the crowd and heading right to the ring.)
Flannery McCoy: WHAT IN THE WORLD IS ANDRE WALKER DOING HERE?
Jake Mercer: Andre is here? OHHHHH YAY!! THE KAISER IS HERE! THE KAISER IS HERE!
Stew-O: Will you shut up, Jake. Why is Andre here and why is coming in through the crowd?
Flannery McCoy: I don’t know and I am not sure if Limmy even sees him coming.
Stew-O: He does now as Andre slides into the ring. Andre comes running full speed and ducks the Limmy clothesline attempt before hitting the ropes–
Jake Mercer: HUNGER! ON! HILLSIDE! THE KAISER JUST TOOK THE CZAR OUT OF HIS BOOTS WITH THAT SPEAR! Limmy is out and The Kaiser is just beating the ever-loving crap out of him. Look at those fists just pounding Limmy’s face in! Andre Walker is showing no mercy to Limmy
Stew-O: WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS? WHY IN THE HELL IS ANDRE WALKER DOING THIS TO LIMMY?
Flannery McCoy: I don’t know, and I don’t think Andre cares! The Gawd Contract Holder is annihilating Limmy Monaghan right now. He picks up Limmy and lifts him in the air, AND DROPS HIM WITH A POWERBOMB–
Jake Mercer: THEN THE FOREARM RIGHT IN THE FACE! “OZYMANDIAS” BY THE KAISER AND LIMMY IS OUT COLD! SHOW OF DOMINANCE BY THE KAISER!
Stew-O: LOOK AT LIMMY! LIMMY IS BLEEDING FROM THE NOSE! LIMMY COULD HAVE A BROKEN NOSE AND ANDRE COULD GIVE TWO CRAPS LESS! I WANNA KNOW THE REASON BEHIND THIS MERCILESS ASSAULT!
Jake Mercer: Does it matter? The Kaiser does what he wants and when he wants. Now he lifts Limmy up in the air AND DROPS HIM ON HIS NECK WITH A SPIKE PILEDRIVER!
Flannery McCoy: Who knows if there even is a reason as Andre picks up Limmy once more. Good gawd! Limmy could be out on his feet as Andre hits the ropes one more time–
Jake Mercer: ANOTHER HUNGER! ON! HILLSIDE! THE STRONGEST SPEAR IN EAW TODAY AND LIMMY JUST FALLS LIFELESS TO THE MAT! I LOVE IT!
(Limmy is on the mat looking completely lifeless as Andre stands tall in the ring. Seconds later, the EMTs are rushing out with a stretcher.)
Flannery McCoy: I hope that Andre Walker is proud of himself for what he did. Who knows what kind of damage has been done to Poor Limmy after that assault by Andre.
Jake Mercer: Come on, Flan. This is The Kaiser’s World and we are all just living in it. If The Kaiser sees you as any sort of threat, he will eliminate you… even if Limmy just so happens to have been that threat. 😞
Flannery McCoy: You are a jackass, Jake. Anyways, the EMTs are here and they are getting Limmy loaded onto the stretcher
Stew-O: I hate to leave at this point right now, but we are almost out of time. But we will keep everybody posted on the condition of Limmy Monaghan as we get updates. For Jake Mercer and Flannery McCoy, I am Stew-O and thank you for another edition of Friday Night Dynasty. Goodnight, everybody!
(The final shot shows Andre Walker standing tall in the middle of the ring while the crowd is still booing Andre out of the building as Limmy has been strapped to the stretcher and is being quickly wheeled backstage on the stretcher as the camera shot fades to black.)
