(The Dynasty logo hits the screen before we dissolve to a shot of the Estadio Mary Terán de Weiss in Buenos Aires, Argentina! We head on in, get the iconic overhead sweeping shot of the fans, and then we see the stage where the classic red pyro goes off. The fans are ecstatic, ready for a fun Friday night. Just as ready are Stew-O, Jake Mercer, and Flannery McCoy.)
Stew-O: WE’RE NEARING KING OF ELITE! WE ARE OFFICIALLY TWO WEEKS AWAY!
Jake Mercer: Seriously? Time sure does fly by fast!
Flannery McCoy: It has, but hey, if it means we’re closer to an amazing marquee event, then who are we to complain? There’s so much to look forward, both in two weeks and tonight as we get closer to that event!
Stew-O: And we get started right away with what is sure to be an explosive opener!
(Friday Night Dynasty transitions from the commentary booth to the stage as ‘ The Leaving Song Pt. II’ by AFI begins to play through the speakers as Hans Grayson makes his way out. He has a smile on his face as he looks around before making his way down the ramp.)
Stephie Love: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome… HANS GRAYSON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(Hans makes his way up the steel steps and into the ring as he takes a microphone from the ringside area. ‘The Leaving Song Pt. II comes to a close as he begins to speak.)
Hans Grayson: Argentina! WELCOME to FRIDAY NIGHT DYNASTY!!!
(The crowd cheers loudly as Hans laughs to himself, looking out at the sea of fans in attendance here tonight before continuing.)
Hans Grayson: Now I wish I could come out in a better mood tonight, take the time to hype up the show that we have for you this week, but truthfully that’s not in the books for why I am out here. Why I am out here is because I have something I need to get off my chest, and it’s something that’s been bugging me for a week now for obvious reasons. Now let’s get one thing out of the way first before we deepdive into this, I don’t dislike Jay Jerry Johnson at all. In fact, I respect him, and I respect him a lot more than I would most people thinking about it. Even beyond this Season he and I have been Dynasty regulars for a bit, and our crowning moments at this point in our career have come from being members of this roster. And I like to consider us shining examples of what you happens when you trust the process and work hard in this company. If we want to talk about recent memory, I garnered a newfound level of respect for him during the build to Road To Redemption, where he and I seemed to resonate with one another considering our approach and how similar our journeys were walking into the Extreme Elimination Chamber. There was never a moment where I particularly wronged Jay Jerry Johnson, but a part of me wants to believe that I never got the chance to hear his side of the story. But even then I don’t think I would be able to understand.
(Hans thinks to himself for a moment, a long pause in his words before he proceeds to continue on with what he has to say.)
Hans Grayson: My mind retraces back to last week and what happened before my match against Joso. How he and I didn’t have the fondest conversation with one another over what happened in the King of Elite tournament. Even though he was acting out of anger, a part of me understands that feeling of envy knowing that he couldn’t get the job done. Once again, our paths are very similar, so I can see how crushing a first round exit would be. But the one mistake that he made that night was letting it all fester and build up, leading to him costing me my match against Joso and my spot in the King of Elite finals. It hurt more than anything else to have that happen. To have worked so hard just for it to amount to nothing for reasons that were completely beyond my control. It doesn’t sit right, and the only thing I can really do now is wonder what could’ve been, and also… what’s next. And one thing that was made apparent through my defeat in the tournament was that it was made very apparent that my problems lie elsewhere, it lies with Jay.
(Hans sighs as he thinks about it, shaking his head in disappointment.)
Hans Grayson: I really did not want it to have to come down to this, knowing Jay and understanding where his frustrations come from I didn’t want to have to make things worse for him. But even then I can’t help but wonder… why me? Why did he have to go out of his way to blame me for his inabilities instead of taking accountability for himself and his actions? Because I beat Drake Armstrong and he couldn’t? It doesn’t feel right to me. So I feel like the only thing I can really do in light of that is try to get an understanding of why things took a turn the way that they did. The only way I can do that is by calling Jay out to this ring, and demanding an explanation out of him. If he is the man that I know that he is, if he is the person that I’ve known for months now, he will come out to the ring and he will tell hsis ide of the story. What he did last week, the words that he said to me, that was not the Jay that I knew. I want to know why more than anything.
(Hans lowers his microphone and turns toward the stage, waiting patiently as the crowd murmurs in anticipation. ‘Sakayume’ by King Gnu is then heard playing up as the camera goes over to show Jay Jerry Johnson, being greeted by a mixed reaction, as he makes his way out to the stage. He has a nonchalant expression on his face as he looks around at the crowd before from there beginning to make his way down the ramp and toward the ring.)
Stew-O: Well here comes Jay who has certainly had a change of attitude since his loss in the King of Elite tournament. It’s something that he has not taken lightly and maybe that is because of how critical he is of his own abilities.
Flannery McCoy: He’s already gotten this far and I don’t think he wants to stagnate now, knowing him I think he was dying to give everyone a reminder of just who he was and costing Hans his match at King of Elite was his way to do that.
Jake Mercer: I see it, negl, I like the new attitude. It gives him an edge, it reminds everyone that he is Jay Jerry Johnson! That’s my guy! I respect it!
(Jay makes his way up the steel steps and knot the apron, entering into the ring as he takes a microphone from the ringside area. ‘Sakayume’ begins to come to a close from there as Jay brings his microphone up to his mouth, looking at Hans, and beginning to speak.)
Jay Jerry Johnson: Don’t say you know who I am.
(Hans looks a little surprised by this as Jay continues.)
Jay Jerry Johnson: You don’t know who I am, you don’t know where I came from, I am by no means comparable to you. So when you go out of your way to try and understand me that’s what really pisses me off, Hans. There’s nothing overly complicated that you need to wrap your mind around, the fact is that you beat Drake and I didn’t. You nearly got to the King of Elite finals and I was a first round exit. For weeks I had to sit and contemplate what I was doing wrong, what I needed to do in order to get back on track, meanwhile you were prosperous, you thrived off the fruits of your labor, and I had to watch from the outside looking in what exactly I was missing out on. It never sat right with me, so yes, you unfortunately had to be a byproduct of my rage, you had to be the one who I used as an example for what I needed to do. Hans, you are a means to an end when it comes to me. To finally put away any doubts I or anyone else may have about myself, which is why I costed you your match against Joso last week. If you have a problem with that, then you’re just going to have to deal with it, but understand that I’m not just going to sit back and allow myself to be an afterthought. No, I am going to remind people just who I am even if it’s going to have to come at your expense as a result. I don’t care what it’s going to take or the lengths that I’m going to have to go to. Just know that I will accomplish what I set out to do.
(Hans ponders on this for a moment before surprisingly nodding his head as he begins to speak.)
Hans Grayson: I understand that. I know that you said we’re not comparable, but I can say that I’ve been in your shoes before. But I have a question and I hope that it’s one that you can answer, because surely you have something more productive to do in order to prove yourself than go after me, right?
(Hans raises an eyebrow before approaching jay.)
Hans Grayson: The respect that I have for you isn’t lost, even after this quite frankly rash decision making on your end. But I’m warning you right now, that if you continue to provoke this conflict that we have any further, then it is not going to be something that you’re going to be able to fight out of. I’m telling you for your own sake that I’m going to walk away from this, leave it all behind, and hopefully you understand and allow bygones to be bygones.
(Hans turns around and looks to make his way out of the ring, but before he can Jay turns him around.)
Stew-O: JAY SLAMS A PUNCH AGAINST THE FACE OF HANS! HANS IS SENT BACK BEFORE JAY THEN GRABS HIM AROUND THE WAIST AND TAKES HIM DOWN TO THE GROUND, NOW BEGINNING TO PUMMEL HIM REPEATEDLY WITH PUNCHES TO THE FACE! JAY HEARD HANS’ WARNING AND HE’S NOT GOING TO LISTEN TO IT, THIS IS SOMETHING THAT HE WANTS TO START! HE WANTS TO GET ON HIS BAD SIDE!
Flannery McCoy: BUT HANS ISN’T GOING DOWN WITHOUT A FIGHT EITHER, HE TURNS JAY AROUND AND BEGINS TO CONNECT WITH PUNCHES OF HIS OWN, BEFORE THE TWO OF THEM BREAK AWAY AND GET BACK UP TO THEIR FEET, CONTINUING TO BRAWL BACK AND FORTH NOW AS THIS HAS GOTTEN WAY OUT OF HAND!
Jake Mercer: IMMEDIATELY OFFICIALS ARE SLIDING IN AND TRYING TO SPLIT THE TWO OF THEM APART! JAY IS SCREAMING AT HANS AS HANS IS TRYING TO BREAK FREE AND GET HIS HANDS BACK ON JAY! WHAT A WAY TO START FRIDAY NIGHT DYNASTY!
(Jay and Hans continue to throw verbal jabs at one another as they are split apart, and it is the last shot seen before friday Night Dynasty from there begins to fade out.)
(An advertisement plays for King of Elite.)
(As Dynasty came back from break, Stephie Love was in the ring with a microphone at hand.)
Stephie Love: Ladies and gentlemen the following contest is scheduled for ONE FALL!
Crowd: ONE FALL!
(“Under The Tree” by SiM sounded throughout the speakers as Shisui Tategami made his way out from backstage. He showed no nerves on his face, even with it being his debut match, as he walked down towards the ring.)
Stephie Love: INTRODUCING FIRST, FROM KYOTO JAPAN, WEIGHING IN AT 180 POUNDS, SHISUIIIIIII TATEEEEGAMI!
Stew-O: You know, for someone making his first start here on Dynasty, you gotta wonder mentally what is coursing through his head? On display; it doesn’t seem very evident of fear, or many notions at all! But he seems more ready than ever to go on a tear.
Flannery McCoy: I think that tonight is going to be just chapter 1, in the big book of Shisui Tategami, and what he does here will be reflected for years to come!
Jake Mercer: He has a tough task ahead of him, but this man has the look and skillset of a professional! Sky is the limit on where Shisui can possibly go.
(“Out The Black” by Royal Blood then played, as Mig De Decker made his way down the ramp. He was ready to wrestle more than ever, and just get in the ring. There had been a lot of talking between him and Shisui. And this moment was make or break.)
Stephie Love: AND HIS OPPONENT, FROM BRUSSELS, BELGUM, WEIGHING IT AT 187 POUNDS, MIG DE DECKER!
Stew-O: Mig De Decker is out here with a point to prove tonight, and we have seen him grow so much to the man he has become today on Dynasty! I know he’s more focused than ever tonight.
Flannery McCoy: Getting knocked out round one in the King Of Elite tournament is definitely sitting in the back of his mine well. I know he feels disappointed and disrespected with the words from Shisui Tategami. That’s why, I am calling for a big display in this match!
Jake Mercer: Mig De Decker no doubt about it, is locked in right now! He has multiple people watching this match under a microscope, and Mig De Decker is a man who performs well under pressure. Any given
(Ding! Ding! Ding!)
Stew-O: Both men emerge from their respective corners now, as Mig De Decker and Shisui Tategami size each other up. These 2 had quite the back and forth, and you really wanna ask yourself the question, who got the mental advantage coming into this match? As both men lock in on each other, forming a collar and elbow.
Flannery McCoy: I think that while Mig De Decker might have gotten more words in on his statements, there’s a particular element that leans well for Shisui. This is his first ever EAW match. And it may pose good for him, cause there’s really not much he DOES lose in this. However, when you measure it all out though.. Mig has a lot more to lose. And mental gymnastics stay glare apparent!
Jake Mercer: But, that is showing completely opposite for Mig right now, as there’s no cracking under the pressure, as he is able to maintain the collar and elbow tie up at the start of the match. Shisui Tategami talked a big game, but so far the elusiveness of Mig De Decker is paying off in his favor! Shisui, you can see, is stunned by the game plan, as Mig works the wrist lock around some in his favor, and quickly.. HE DELIVERS A KNIFE EDGE CHOP TO THE CHEST OF SHISUI!
Stew-O: The impact from that chop is heard all around the arena, but look at Shisui Tategami! In his debut match, he wants to give a show worth watching, as he takes the chops head on, and practically absorbs it, demanding that Mig De Decker go ahead and connect with more! Mig realizes that the effect the chop had wasn’t what he expected. And now he has to double down, as he throws another chop in the direction of Shisui Tategami! and this one connects as well!!! You can see the redness begin to appear on the chest of Shisui Tategami, as Mig just proceeds to lock in more and more!
Flannery McCoy: While Mig is dishing these chops out, it doesn’t seem as if much is being accomplished however, as you can see a fire light in the eye of Shisui, we have only learned so little about him in EAW, thus far. But I feel as if, reprimanded in that ring right now, he is definitely given a story. As he takes that second knife edge chop from Mig De Decker, he responds quickly.. AS BOTH MEN BEGIN TO TRADE FOREARMS BACK AND FORTH! A QUICK DISPLAY AND TESTAMENT TO EACH OTHER’S GAMEPLAN!
Jake Mercer: You can see the back and force exchange of the forearms here, and I’m left asking the question.. how much better does it get than this? These 2 are minutes into the match, outside of the interactions they had this week, barely know one another, yet, they are going at it, of this caliber? I think it can definitely tell a story between these 2. They just lock in and immediately go after one another. You can tell some of the words muttered between the two was well.. just pure and utter disrespect. And that was never on display more than right now! Shisui nails Mig with a big forearm! As Mig rebounds off the rope due to the momentum back put from said forearm, AS SHISUI LOOKS TO DRIVE MIG TO THE MAT WITH A MICHINOKU DRIVER–
Stew-O: HOWEVER THOUGH, HE TRIES IN HITTING THE MOVE, BUT.. MIG DE DECKER MANAGES TO TURN THINGS AROUND! Getting the elbows to the side of Shisui’s head, he managed to escape the grasp of the man. You can definitely see the sizable difference here. But don’t let that be what discourages you. Mig is a quick man, he is best on his feet in these circumstances. This is when Mig becomes his most craftiest, as he shifts his weight around Shisui, getting behind his competitor, adjusting himself some more, BEFORE HITTING SHISUI TATEGAMI WITH A HALF NELSON BACKBREAKER! THAT WAS THE CRAFTINESS I WAS ALLUDING TOWARDS! AS MIG GOES FOR THE COVER!
ONE!

Flannery McCoy: BUT SHISUI TATEGAMI FINDS A WAY OUT OF IT! A good display from Mig there, but I grant props to Shisui as well, he didn’t fold from. And you can now see Mig crawling back up to his feet, as he presents his next objective on what to do next. Shisui Tategami is taking his time in order to reach his feet, but Mig looks to be prepared for that however. Shisui slowly uses the ropes as leverage, lifting himself off the ground. As he looms into Mig’s way, AND MIG TRIES TO BRING HIM DOWN WITH A BOSTON CRAB! If he can situate himself, he’ll be doing much damage to the back of Shisui! But Shisui is still denying it, as it’s coming, BEFORE WOAH! HE MANAGES TO SNEAK MIG DE DECKER INTO AN INSIDE CRADLE!
ONEEEE!

THRR-
Jake Mercer: BUT MIG DE DECKER JUST MANAGED TO GET THE SHOULDER UP AND ESCAPE THAT! It was great thinking on the feet of Shisui Tategami, and Mig De Decker is shocked himself! You can see him, hitting himself in the head. Just degrading that he allowed something like that to happen, and that is true passion, enforced from a wrestler like Mig De Decker, but you can see that; Mig isn’t done however. He tells himself he has to do better. He’s having that conversation with himself, he knows that.. KAI-ZEN is locked and loaded on this one. And do you know how awkward it’s going to be, going back there after losing to someone in their first EVER.. match?
Stew-O: WELL THAT MONOLOGUING AND STUMPING TO HIMSELF, MAY HAVE GOTTEN THE BEST OF HIM, BECAUSE MIG DE DECKER TURNS AROUND INTO SHISUI, WHO LIFTS HIM UP FOR A BRAINBUSTER! But wait, Mig De Decker is denying that, as he knows what would loom and await him, Shisui is trying to keep Mig up for the brainbuster, but he just continues again and again to deny! AND- WOAH LOOK AT THIS! MIG DE DECKER MANAGES TO BRING SHISUI TATEGAMI DOWN WITH A GUILLOTINE CHOKE! BRINGING HIM TO THE GROUND! THIS DOESN’T SPELL GOOD FOR SHISUI IN HIS DEBUT MATCH!
Flannery McCoy: Mig De Decker managed to shift this match in his favor multiple times now, but you can see that Shisui still is locked and loaded in! As he sits on the ground, the worst of it being, well. So far, he just has to find some small opening, a way to get out of it, as he tries to make his way towards the ropes, but Mig has that thing zinched on there tight! If Shisui continues to remain in the hold long enough, it’s longing to tell the damage that might possess him, as Shisui keeps reaching out, trying to find something, as it’s just not there, just not yet! Mig keeps his grip, maintain balance and focus-
Jake Mercer: BUT CHECK THAT OUT! SHISUI GOT HIS BOTTOM FOOT ON THE ROPE! Situational awareness is showing here right now! Especially for someone in their first ever match, wow! The referee forces Mig De Decker to break the hold, and Mig? He’s definitely angered right now. He thought he could have willed himself together, he thought he could have made his opponent pass out, but unfortunately, that wasn’t meant to be. Mig slowly pulls himself up however, as he sets himself back in the corner, and Mig is looking to stop playing with his food now, he sees an opening, and he wants to take it! LOOKING FOR THE MKO KICK-
Stew-O: BUT SHISUI TATEGAMI MANAGES TO NAIL MIG DE DECKER WITH A DISCUSS CLOTHESLINE BEFORE THE KICK COULD BE ATTEMPTED! A HUGE BREAK FOR SHISUI! And you can see Shisui fall down for a second, as he quickly sprawls over for the cover!

THRRR—
Stew-O: BUT MIG GETS OUT JUST BEFORE THE COUNT OF THREE!! Shisui is just impressed with that, as you can see him slide over into the corner now, looming on Mig De Decker, who is down on the ground! And Mig De Decker knows his fate that looms him, as Shisui scouts his opponent on the ground, as he wants to hit his opponent with his finishing move the “Totsuka Blade”! Mig De Decker slowly rises up to his knees.. as that is the perfect shot for Shisui to lock and load in, as he springs forward, LOOKING TO CONNECT WITH THE MOVE AND END THIS MATCH NOW! WHAT A HUGE WIN IT WOULD BE-
Flannery McCoy: NO! MIG DE DECKER FALLS DOWN AND SHISUI MEETS NOTHING ON THE WAY FORWARD! Was that pure exhaustion from Mig De Decker, or was that strategy? I think it was strategy. As Mig quickly jumps up to his feet, as he scowers over Shisui, who landed on his elbow pretty hard once Mig managed to avoid the Totsuka Blade, as his opponent lingers around, Mig De Decker focuses in now more than ever… AS HE TRIES TO GET SHISUI UPON HIS SHOULDERS FOR THE “BELGIAN DRIVER” SHISUI IS A BIG MAN, BUT MIG IS MANAGING HIS WEIGHT! MIG HAS HIM UPON HIS SHOULDERS AND–
Jake Mercer: Shisui Tategami resists! He manages to push Mig De Decker off him! Buying himself time, and freeing himself from the grasp of that Belgian Driver was a good thing, you can definitely sense the wherewithal being showcased! As Shisui pushes Mig with momentum from behind into the ropes to stun his opponent with such force, BEFORE MIG DE DECKER TURNS AROUND, AND OUT OF NOWHERE HITS SHISUI TATEGAMI WITH THE MKO KICK! WHAT A HIGHLIGHT MOMENT! MIG DE DECKER FALLS INTO THE COVER RIGHT HERE!

(Ding! Ding! Ding!)
(“Out The Black” by Royal Blood plays throughout the arena, as Mig De Decker crawls off Shisui Tategami, celebrating his victory at large, as his hand is raised up in the air. Mig pat himself on the back, knowing he accomplished as he wished.)
Stew-O: What a huge win for Mig De Decker right there! He managed to get the victory over Shisui Tategami, who has nothing to be really discouraged about in his debut here in EAW! He gave a show worthwhile!
Flannery McCoy: You can definitely sense a relief in the face of Mig De Decker. A lot was hanging on that win, and many, many people were silenced! You can definitely tell that is one he won’t be forgetting about!
Jake Mercer: Both Mig and Shisui gave us a world class show, I can’t wait to see how Mig follows up this victory, but this was just the beginning for the story of Shisui Tategami as well!
(Mig left the ring now, walking up the ramp as he celebrated his victory just a bit more. He gave himself that necessary approval, as Dynasty faded elsewhere.)
(The camera cuts backstage to show KAI-ZEN gathered around Ricky in their locker room. The group is unaware that they are being recorded, as the cameraman films through the crack in their locker room door. The crowd boos at the mere sight of KAI-ZEN before simmering down as Ricky can be seen giving a speech to the members.)
Ricky: Guys, King of Elite isn’t far off. Next week is the final show before the event, but I wanted to make sure your head’s are in the right place. Because at King of Elite, many things are at stake. Do you understand that, Tohru?
(Prince Tohru nods, and Ricky looks toward Mig.)
Ricky: Do you understand that, Mig?
(Mig nods, and finally, Ricky looks toward Shinzo.)
Ricky: And do you understand that, Shinzo?
(Shinzo nods as well.)
Ricky: Great! I’m glad we have a mutual understanding. Remember, King of Elite is must win for us. Failure is not an option. Honestly, failure shouldn’t even be considered as a possibility, because there is no reason why KAI-ZEN can’t leave South Africa with all the gold. Am I right, boys?
(Ricky places his arms around Shinzo and Tohru briefly.)
Ricky: Trust me, you guys have everything in the bag.
(Ricky removes his arm from around Shinzo, and focuses on Tohru.)
Ricky: For starters, Tohru. At King of Elite, you face Michael Machina for the New Breed Championship. And don’t get me wrong, Michael is talented, sure. He was undefeated for a reason, but that doesn’t mean he’s without weakness. Weakness that you can easily exploit, but the most glaring one being his anger.
(Ricky smiles, amused and confident.)
Ricky: I mean, the guy is a total hothead.
(Mig, Ricky, and Shinzo nod along, agreeing with that statement.)
Ricky: Granted, that’s not some hot take, given that’s been on full display for everyone to see during his run here. But speaking of hot takes…
(Ricky removes his arm from around Tohru, and turns toward Shinzo.)
Ricky: Shinzo Sasaki. At King of Elite, your opponent is Ronan Malosi… really, do I have to say more about him, and his weaknesses? Everyone knows he’s not the brightest bulb in the room. Obviously, since he agreed to give you a title shot, not realizing that you’re not just another defense. You’re his first, and final when it comes to that Interwire Championship. Ronan has gigantic target on his back, and without Andre around, it’s largely unguarded. Meaning: it should be a real easy to hit… maybe even before King of Elite.
(Ricky gives a sly look to the crew.)
Ricky: Just putting it out there.
(Lastly, Ricky turns toward Mig.)
Ricky: Mig. Look, you may not have a title match at King of Elite, but similar to these guys, I’m expecting you at the top of your game, because come King of Elite, you still have a very important role to play. Which is to ensure victory for KAI-ZEN. You’re going to make sure that Shinzo, and Tohru walk out champion. Now, how you’re gonna do that? Up to you. But I expect you to do any, and everything in your power, even if that mean putting yourself at risk. You hear me?
(Mig nods.)
Mig De Decker: I won’t let you down.
(Ricky smirks.)
Ricky: Good. I don’t expect you to.
(Ricky sighs, having covered all bases.)
Ricky: Ya know, I’ve got a good feeling about this. King of Elite is going to be our night. So… anything else you guys would like to talk about?
(The cameraman backs away as KAI-ZEN go deeper into discussion, worried about possibly being discovered by the group, having eavesdropped something they obviously don’t want the world to hear. Following this, the camera fades back to the arena for the next match.)
Stephie Love: This match is scheduled for…
Crowd: ONE FALL!
(‘Duel Of The Fates (Epic Version)’ by Samuel Kim Music hits the speakers as BRAE makes his way onto the ramp. His face was as serious as stone as he marched down the ramp.)
Stephie Love: Introducing first, residing in Bray county wicklow, Ireland… weighing in at 215 lbs… BRAEEEEEE!
Flannery McCoy: BRAE was eliminated in the second round of King Of Elite not too long ago and has been making sure that those losses get righted. And so far he has been successful in picking up a victory since. Tonight he looks for his second victory since losing against Joso.
(‘Geto’s True Identity” by Yoshimasa Terui hits the speakers as Chiyo Gedo makes his way onto the ramp. He looks at the crowd confidently.)
Stephie Love: Introducing second, from Osaka, Japan… weighing in at 170 lbs… CHIYOOOOOO GEDOOOOOOOO!
Jake Mercer: Speaking of second victories since something happened… Here we have Chiyo Gedo who wants to pick up his second ever victory since becoming part of the Dynasty brand. Will he be able to do that against someone who’s as motivated as BRAE? We’re going to find out right now!
(Ding! Ding! Ding!)
Stew-O: And it looks like both of them are going to look for a slow start to the match as these competitors know to beware of each other and not to move too fast because that could lead to them being taken down early! Neither of them is willing to risk that right now as they are careful with their moves right now. But both of them are now moving in, going for a standard elbow and collar lock up to start this match off.
Flannery McCoy: Oh but look at Chiyo using his speed to his advantage! He ducks under the attempt and grabs BRAE from behind! He pops up onto his shoulders and looks to hit a reverse Frankensteiner but the Imperial Symphony drops his forward before he can truly get there! But Gedo manages to land on his feet due to his agility. He runs towards the ropes to rebound towards his opponent! But look at BRAE, trying to catch him with a clothesline!
Jake Mercer: But nope! Chiyo ducks it and runs towards the other side of the ring to rebound again, running towards BRAE to knock him down with a clothesline himself! But no! Instead he is caught and spun around into a massive Black Hole Slam by the Imperial Symphony! He has slammed Gedo down into the ring and goes for a quick cover already!
ONEEEE!
TW—
Stew-O: But Gedo kicks out at the count of 1.5! Certainly showing some resiliency and willingness to stay in this! BRAE however, he doesn’t seem to show any intention on slowing down the match! He grabs Gedo and drags him to his feet and tosses him across the ring with a massive German Suplex! Chiyo rolls over to the corner looking to catch a breather but he is NOT safe there! The Imperial Symphony runs right at him and hits a massive KNIFE EDGE CHOP across the chop! That sounded like a gunshot!
Flannery McCoy: And it seems like it felt like it as well! Chiyo stumbles out of the corner holding his chest as it’s already turning red! BRAE waits for him to turn around to CATCH HIM WITH ANOTHER ONE! Chiyo flies down to the ring with that one, crawling backwards to try and get away from BRAE! But no, the Imperial Symphony follows him close behind and drags him back to his feet. He then grabs the wrist and uses an Irish Whip to send him into the ropes to get him to rebound!
Jake Mercer: BRAE looking to catch Chiyo off the rebound but it seems like Gedo had other plans! BRAE bent over forward looking for what I assume is a back body drop, but his opponent was smarter and just did a reverse somersault over his back! And he uses that to jump onto BRAE’s shoulders and this time successfully connects with the Reverse Frankensteiner! He sends the Imperial Symphony onto his head!
Stew-O: But somehow BRAE pops back up to his feet and falls back into the ropes… Chiyo is up in time to see it and catches the man as he walks back towards him by spinning around him and grabbing both arms to bridge into a Snap Dragon Suplex! He hold on for the cover!
ONNEEE!
TWW—
Stew-O: But a quick kick out from the Imperial Symphony! But Gedo isn’t satisfied with what isn’t even a two count! He slowly but surely drags BRAE to his feet and pushes him towards the ropes to add leverage to the Irish Whip to send him across the ring! And it works as BRAE is sent across the ring!
Flannery McCoy: Chiyo waits for BRAE to rebound but he somehow manages to hold onto the ropes! Gedo runs at him looking to send him to the outside but not before he is sent to the apron with a Back Body Drop from his opponent! He lands on his feet but— Look out! BRAE looks to take his head off with a massive clothesline! But no, Chiyo ducks it and runs towards the corner! He jumps up the ropes and leaps over the top rope to hit a modified Triangle Dropkick to his opponent!
Jake Mercer: BRAE stumbles back before flying into the mat! Chiyo is back to his feet now, bouncing off the corner to create some momentum so he can run at BRAE to try to hit a massive corner body splash! But no, the Imperial Symphony catches him in mid-air with his arms around the chest of Gedo! That’s perfectly in position for an Overhead Belly-To-Belly but he chooses to do it INTO THE CORNER! Chiyo crashes back into the ring as his opponent takes a second to breath as well.
Stew-O: Now BRAE starts to pull himself up in the corner as he looks at the downed Chiyo slowly getting up himself, he is aiming to take him right back down! He walks over to the man and grabs him under his arm and hooks both arms up. He doesn’t take long to lift him off the ground to plant him into the floor with a butterfly suplex! And it’s successful as BRAE floats over into the cover!
ONEEEE!
TWOOOO!
Flannery McCoy: But Chiyo manages to kick out at 2! He is still in this as BRAE drags him back to his feet and hooks his head again, this time into Suplex position. He lifts him off the floor and holds him high up in the air! He lets him hang there for a second to stall with the suplex but nope! Gedo slips free and he quickly hooks BRAE’s arms from behind looking to lift him overhead with a massive Tiger Suplex! And he manages to hit it!
Jake Mercer: Unfortunately for Chiyo, that butterfly suplex and belly-to-belly took too much out of him so he can’t bridge into the cover. Instead he’s forced to pull himself up after rolling towards the ropes, walking back towards BRAE before grabbing him in position for a Uranage. But BRAE fights back with elbows to the side of the head! Gedo stopped in his tracks!
Stew-O: BRAE manages to slip free from the Uranage attempt and now grabs him into his shoulders in a Fireman’s Carry position! Right after he tosses Chiyo up to catch him with a Gut Check— NO! Gedo lands on his feet instead and as BRAE tries to get back up, he sits up right into a massive kick to the face, sending him back into the mat! And now Gedo runs up to the ropes! He springboards onto the second rope for a Moonsault! He hooks the leg!
ONEEEE!
TWOOOO!
Flannery McCoy: Another kick out! This BRAE at 2! This match keeps becoming closer and closer but both of these individuals have to start kicking it into next gear to win. They’ve been evenly matched all throughout the match. And well right as I say that, Gedo goes to the corner and calls for his opponent to get up! He’s looking to make a statement!
Jake Mercer: He runs up to BRAE and looks to hit him with the HEAT SEEKER ‘Spinning Back Elbow!’ BUT NO! THE IMPERIAL SYMPHONY SOMEHOW CATCHES IT AND TURNS IT INTO A RUSSIAN LEG SWEEP! What a counter! BRAE is back to his feet after that, Gedo also slowly rising… And now the Russian wrestler tries to decapitate his opponent with a Discus Lariat!
Stew-O: BUT CHIYO DUCKS! And BRAE put so much force behind it that he rolls all the way to the outside! BUT WAIT! GEDO SAW THAT COMING! He runs towards the ropes and bounces back towards his opponent the second he turns around he gets caught with a springboard Tope Con Giro!!!! BRAE is taken down on the outside!
Flannery McCoy: And now, Chiyo is going to roll BRAE back into that ring so he can look to start putting the final nails into the coffin! He gets back into the ring as the Imperial Symphony slowly makes his way back to his feet, but as he does, Chiyo runs up and PLANTS him with that signature Satellite DDT he calls ‘FATAL HEAD TRAUMA!’ Into the cover right after, goes Gedo!
ONEEEEE!
TWOOOO!
THHHRR—
Jake Mercer: But BRAE lifts his shoulder off the mat! He is not done quite yet, to the dismay of his opponent. But Gedo doesn’t let it discourage him as he slowly backs towards the corner as he starts to taunt towards his foe to get up! And as he does, Chiyo rolls forward with a Rolling Thunder into a Cutter for that ‘UNEXPECTED WHIPLASH—’!
Stew-O: BUT BRAE INTERCEPTS THE MOVE WITH A DEADLY BICYCLE KNEE STRIKE! BRAE INTO A JACKKNIFE COVER!
ONEEEEE!
TWOOOO!
Stew-O: CHIYO KICKS OUT! BUT WAIT, BRAE ONLY USES THAT TO TRANSITION INTO TEXAS CLOVERLEAF! THE SIGNATURE ‘BRIGID END’ IS LOCKED IN!
Flannery McCoy: But despite the pain of the move, Chiyo keeps fighting back! He’s not willing to give up just yet and he’s trying his best to get to the ropes! But the power of the Imperial Symphony is just too much to beat! He’s stuck in position! He has nowhere to go as the submission is locked in deep!
Jake Mercer: That is until Chiyo manages to make BRAE turn around by rolling back to his stomach! He manages to wiggle his legs free and send both his boots into the chest of BRAE! He sends him all the way into the ropes, seemingly taking him out—
Stew-O: ‘RED DEATH’ OUT OF NOWHERE! THAT STIFF FALLING ELBOW SMASH TO THE FACE OF CHIYO GEDO! HE’S OUT AS BRAE REMAINS ON TOP OF HIM FOR THE COVER!
OOOOONNNEEE!
TWWWOOOOOO!
TTTHHHRREEEE!
(Ding! Ding! Ding!)
Stephie Love: Here is your winner… BRAAAEEEEEE!
Flannery McCoy: And another victory picked up here tonight by BRAE! He keeps his momentum going as he picks up a win against a newer signee in Chiyo Gedo! But his efforts can also not be understated! He was very close to defeating BRAE, just one mistake cost him everything!
Jake Mercer: I’m sure BRAE willxbe celebrating this win but Chiyo will only be learning from this loss. This isn’t the last we’ve seen from the new wrestler and I think he’ll only get better from here. Same goes for BRAE!
(The scene fades lut as BRAE celebrates after the referee raises his hand in victory.)
(A commercial plays for the NBA, where the Dynasty roster wonders why in the hell Pascal Siakim was traded to the Pacers.)
(The video feed shifts to the backstage interview area of Estadio Mary Terán de Weiss, where Michael Belfort is standing with a microphone in hand. He smiles as the camera turns to him and begins to speak.)
Michael Belfort: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome back to Friday Night Dynasty! Tonight, we have a star-studded main event with the 420s, Bronson Daniels and Jake Smith, going two on two against the World Heavyweight Champion, Myles, and the sole New Breed in the match, Cody Maverick! With his unique position in the match, Cody has the EAW Universe buzzing with excitement to see how he’ll fare among the wrestling industry titans he’s fighting alongside! We have the opportunity to get a word in with the Sin City Superstar, so please welcome my guest… Cody Maverick!
(The camera starts to pan as Cody Maverick walks in with a cocky swagger, already dressed in his ring gear and looking as prepared as he could be for the main event.)
Michael Belfort: Thank you for joining us tonight, Cody. Could you please share your thoughts with us regarding your upcoming match in the main event of Dynasty? How do you feel about teaming up with the World Heavyweight Champion?
Cody Maverick: I’ll tell you what, I’ve been putting in maximum effort since day ONE of stepping foot in Elite Answers Wrestling. Some people have talent, some people put in hard work, but I’ve got BOTH, and that’s a winning formula to send the Main Event Mogul right up to where he belongs! The World Heavyweight Champion clearly saw the burning fire that I got inside me when I went toe to toe with him and kept up every step of the way! He saw the potential that he was looking for when I kicked out of his finisher and forced his hand to go further beyond!
Cody Maverick: As for the main event match itself, you’ve got people saying that I’m the odd man out. By the time the bell rings and Dynasty comes to a close, I’ll show the world that I BELONG alongside names like those! Other New Breeds may be afraid of stepping up to former world champions, but I’m heading in there as confident as I’ll ever be because the only thing my focus is set on is VICTORY! I beat a former champion in Ryan Joseph Wilson, so beating a former WORLD champion is just another rung on the ladder that I intend to climb all the way to the top! And NOBODY is gonna tell me otherwise!
Michael Belfort: And what about your confrontation with BRAE last week, do you have any explanation about that?
Cody Maverick: Listen here Michael, at this point in my career here in EAW, I’m looking to make statement after statement. That’s all this is about, it means everything to me, so if someone is fixing to stand in my way of getting that done, there’s gonna be a problem. There ain’t gonna be any competition that can out-compete ME, but last week I heard BRAE making it seem like he’d get to the top instead of me! I’m not just gonna stand by and let him do that; if it’s a fight he wants, it’s a fight he’s gonna get!
(Suddenly, BRAE passes by the interview area following his match, and catches what Cody just said. BRAE turns to stare him dead in the eyes and begins to speak with an intense voice.)
BRAE: I said what I said because I meant it. If you want to prove you’re going to be the best, you’re going to have people fighting you every inch of the way. I’m not one to run from a challenge. You name a time and a place, and I’ll be there to show you who exactly the best is going to be.
(He let the direct challenge hang in the air for a moment before turning and walking away, with Michael watching as Cody glares at him. Dynasty’s video feed fades to the next segment of the show.)
Stephie Love: The following contest is scheduled for one fall!
Crowd: ONE FALL!
(What Makes You A Man” by The Ninth Wave replaces the music playing through the speakers as LILITH makes her way through the curtains. She walks onto the ramp with a serious expression on her face.)
Stephie Love: Introducing second, residing in Brasov, Romania… Weighing in at 113 lbs… LILLLLLIIIIIIIIITTTTTTHHHHHHH!!!!(
(LILITH enters the ring. Soon, “Dead Opps” by DD Osama & Notti Osama starts to play. The New Breed Champion Michael Machina enters the arena with the title on his shoulder. He is strictly business as he heads right to the ring. )
Stephie Love: Introducing first and making his way to the ring! From Brooklyn, New York! Weighing in at 240 pounds! Here is THE EAW NEW BREED CHAMPION! “THE NEW BREED OF LEGENDS” MICHAEL MACHINA!
(DING! DING! DING!)
Flannery McCoy: The match is underway, LILITH and New Breed Champion Michael Machina facing off! This might be the biggest challenge that LILITH faces in her career! This is THE New Breed Champion that we are discussing and factoring in size and aggression. This is going to be a steep hill for her to walk up. But that isn’t going to stop her! Charging in for a tie-up! It’s probably not the best strategy for testing your might against Machina! This is why Michael is pushing back against LILTH, nearly sending her across the ring into the corner! She might have to rethink her stance. Attacking him head-on is a death wish. She might need to use her speed and agility to get the jump on her! Exactly like this, slipping underneath Machina and– SLAPS HIM ACROSS THE FACE!
Jake Mercer: That was a mighty slap, but it made him angrier! LILITH slipping out of the ring! She is fast, but Machina is on her tail! She slides back into the ring, Michael behind her, attempting to drop an ELBOW on him! Machina quickly slid out of the ring, missing the elbow drop! Smart move by Michael, getting back into the ring! LILITH is going for a strike, but Michael Machina slides under! Who says a big man can’t be agile? LILITH runs into a SHOULDER TACKLE! LILITH falling hard to her back! This isn’t a situation you want to be in regarding a match with Machina! But most of the time, you don’t have a say in the matter!
Stew-O: Machina grabs LILITH and lifts her for a vertical suplex, walking around the ring just flexing his strength. Pacing around the ring, doing squats with her, just letting the blood flow to the top of her head! NOW DROPPING HER ON HER BACK! That wasn’t just a taunt. That was letting LILITH know what kind of power she was dealing with. Psychologically, it does something to an opponent when they know they might be powerless to stop their opponent. Machina knows this and will take every opportunity to remind his opponent. Machina going for a pin…
ONE!
…
TWO!!
Flannery McCoy: KICKOUT! LILITH managed to get her shoulder up. With all that weight pressed down on you, getting your shoulder up is impressive! Impressive, but it might cost her; Michael getting her back up, using one hand to do so– LILITH kicks him in the shin! Managing to be released from his grip! LILITH managing to pick up some steam! BACK ELBOW TO THE EYE SOCKET! Blinding him! LILITH bounces off the rope– DROPKICK! Making him stumble back into the ropes! This is the opening that LILITH needed! Running to the ropes and leaping off! Locking in the headlock, looking for a tornado DDT–
Jake Mercer: Michael Machina catching her! Once again, strength to be feared! He walks around the ring, looking to drop her– BUT LILITH MANAGING TO SPIKE MACHINA! Once again, she got an opening. Getting back to her feet, she needs to capitalize quickly before Michael can regain steam! KICK TO THE SIDE! Keeping Michael down! LILITH getting on top of Machina and raining down shots on Machina! LILITH used her sharp nails to cut up his face! Machina trying to cover up his face, but his arms are starting to take the scratches!
Stew-O: I don’t know how long he can hold out, for the referee might need to step in and get LILITH off of him! WAIT! HEADBUTT by Machina! Knocking her off of him! That might have cracked her nose. Look how bruised it is! This match has switched over to the New Breed Champion’s favor! Michael picks up LILITH in a bear hug, but something tells me he isn’t affectionate. Michael Machina tossing LILITH over his shoulders with an overhead Belly to Belly suplex! LILITH crashing down like a meteorite! Machina just able to toss around LILITH with ease. This isn’t looking too good. Machina getting to the corner, letting out a war cry! We know what this means!
Flannery McCoy: BULLET FROM HELL– WAIT! LILITH MOVES OUT OF THE WAY! Machina’s shoulder gets rammed into the steel post! That was quick thinking by LILITH. Grabbing Machina and rolling him into the pinfall!
ONE!
…
TWO!!
…
THREEEEEEE–
Flannery McCoy: KICKOUT BY MACHINA! LILITH was just inches from a pinfall victory against the New Breed Champion! All she needs to do is keep the pressure on Machina, and this might be the biggest win in her career! She climbs to the top rope. Looking over Machina, who making his way back to his feet. She has her eyes locked on the target! Jumping at him looking for a CROSSBODY– BUT GETS CAUGHT IN THE ARMS OF MACHINA! Slamming her side, down on his knee! He tosses her to the side and gets right back into the corner!
Jake Mercer: Don’t get up! Don’t get up! NO! BULLET FROM HELL! SPLITTING LILITH IN HALF! Machina covering LILITH!
ONE!
…
TWO!!
…
THREEEEE!!!
(DING! DING! DING!)
Stephie Love: HERE IS YOUR WINNER…“THE NEW BREED OF LEGENDS” MICHAEL MACHINA!
Stew-O: A hard-fought battle by LILITH, but it was always hard to overcome the strength and resilience of the New Breed Champion. Machina once again stood tall with the gold on his shoulders!
Flannery McCoy: Whenever I see him in the ring, I don’t think about who or when he will be stopped, but WHAT can stop this man? It might take a nuke to separate him from the Championship!
(Michael stands on the top rope, smiling at his championship. LILITH rolled on the apron, grabbing her rib cage, not just hurt from the spear but also hurt from the defeat. The only thing Michael can do is chuckle as seemingly on cue… ‘Monsters’ by Currents begins to blast through the PA system to the boos of the crowd.)
Stew-O: Well this is certainly not a sight that LILITH wants to see right now. We know two weeks ago she found herself in a conflict with Rory Slate, and now it seems that Rory wants to rub some salt in the wounds after tonight’s devastating loss.
(Rory Slate is seen making her way out to the stage, a sarcastically disappointed expression on her face as she wipes away invisible tears while making her way down the ramp. She passes by Michael, who happily steps by for her as Rory blows an air kiss, reaching the bottom of the ramp.)
Jake Mercer: I personally see no problem in this. #RoryAll #MachinaMafia
Flannery McCoy: Rory has been adamant about making a statement to remind everyone just who she is, and it seems that her target to make said statement on has singled out LILITH after their confrontation. LILITH of course is not going to take it lying down, but Rory is going to make it known exactly who she is if she wants to pick a fight with her.
(Rory makes her way onto the apron and into the ring, heading over and taking a microphone from ringside while ‘Monsters’ from there begins to come to a close. Rory then shifts her body toward LILITH who is still recovering in the corner, laughing to herself before beginning to speak.)
Rory Slate: Awwwwww, what’s wrong? Is the little baby crying because she lost ANOTHER match??? What a shame. You know, I didn’t plan to take the flight to Argentina tonight, surrounding myself with LOSERS who don’t deserve my time let alone see me compete. But an opportunity to see THE Michael Machina absolutely desecrate you, my dear LILITH, was simply something that I just could not refuse- SHUT UP!
(Rory looks out to the crowd who are showering her with a negative reaction right now before she then proceeds to get back on track and speak toward LILITH.)
Rory Slate: Now, I’ll admit, I tried my best to let bygones be bygones. Even after the disrespect that you happened to show me, I did what I could to let it all pass by and hopefully move on to bigger and better things. But unfortunately, that’s not the type of person I am. I’m not the type who is just going to happen to lay down and allow someone to do what you did to me when we first met, so ultimately, I’m going to make sure that I cram it into your thick skull just the type of person who you’re messing with. You’re not just messing with anyone here, LILITH, you’re messing with one of the very best women’s wrestlers on the Dynasty roster. If you pick a fight with me, no more will you be fighting to survive against competition at the bottom of the barrel on this brand, you’ll be in the big leagues. You’ll be up to where I am and trust me when I say that only a few people are able to make it out of it alive. Yes, I’ve had my road bumps, on countless occasions, I’ve found myself struggling, I’m not going to deny that I am human just like you. But that does not take away from the fact that I am an elite talent who deserves her flowers for what she’s been able to do in her short time here in Elite Answers Wrestling. Try as you may, but you will never be able to reach that. I don’t know where this unwarranted confidence has come from on your end, but I think it’s clear that someone needs to knock you down a peg, and trust me when I say that I will not be afraid to do that if the person in question is myself. We can start problems if you really want it, LILITH, but I promise that it will be more than what you bargained for, and when I stomp all over you if there is ever a time the two of us step into the ring with each other, I’ll make sure you never show your face in this company again.
(LILITH stays silent, really not in the mood to have this conversation with Rory right now.)
Rory Slate: So if you would listen to some advice from your superior for a moment, what I am going to tell you is to give up while you’re ahead. This is the last fight that you want to pick and that should have been known when you tried to start a conflict with Rory fucking Slate. I refuse to believe that you have the mental capacity to handle what I will give you if you force my hand, so I’m telling you right now to save yourself the embarrassment and quit while you’re ahead. I don’t like running people away from this company, it’s simply distasteful, but I will also not be afraid to do so with the power vesseled in me. The choice is yours, LILITH. But not right now though, get the fuck out of the ring I have a match.
(Rory points to the stage and tells LILITH to shoo away, but LILITH doesn’t back down. She stands up and makes her way over to Rory, getting in her face.)
LILITH: (Off-Mic) Want to know what my answer is?
(LILITH rears her arm back and connects with a HARD forearm that takes Rory down to the ground! Rory looks up, absolutely seething as she launches at LILITH, but before she does, LILITH is already out of there. She makes her way up the ramp without a second glance and Rory, who acknowledges that she has a match up next, can only shout at her while she does.)
Rory Slate: (Off-Mic) YOU STUPID BITCH! YOU’LL REGRET THAT! WAIT UNTIL I GET MY HANDS ON YOU I SWEAR TO FUCKING GOD!
(Rory continues to shout at LILITH as it’s the last shot seen before Friday Night Dynasty goes to a brief commercial break from there.)
[RONAN MALOSI BEATS RORY SLATE – RESULT TBP ASAP]
(A commercial plays for King of Elite, promoting the Interwire Championship match between Ronan Malosi and KAI-ZEN’s Shinzo Sasaki.)
(Dynasty comes back from commercial break. Backstage, the viewers are taken to the exclusive locker room of the Jaded Hearts. The Unified Tag Team Champions can be seen sitting down, laughing and talking it up. However, Sienna and Kassidy sport some bruises after their clash with Donovan Duke and Mia Santoro last Sunday on Voltage.)
Kassidy Heart: Seriously, how dumb were they for that? Fell for the oldest trick in the book. I almost feel bad for Donovan for having to pull out the family card on him like that.
Sienna Jade: I see where you might be coming from, Kass. But then again, we have to wonder how a moron like him lucked his way into having the longest National Elite championship reign of all time. It was just as much of a bore as he is!
Kassidy Heart: It certainly was. At least we don’t have that problem with our own reigns with it.
Sienna Jade: We truly did make the most of our time as champions. 😌 And at least we’ll always know what it’s like to be one in the first place, unlike Mia.
Kassidy Heart: Seriously. It’s one thing to be ambitious, but it’s another thing to be completely delusional. I don’t know if she sees Dnonovan as some kind of easy meal ticket for herself or what, but all I know is she isn’t going to have the luxury of becoming one at our expense.
Sienna Jade: Ugh, all she’s good for is scurrying around like a little rat! Just like what she and Donovan did last week. 🙄 And don’t get me started on that stupid little pep talk he gave to her on Voltage. Not to mention that my hair was nearly ruined!
(The two then frown, recalling the brawl and how they fell into the electrical equipment. The two women shake their heads.)
Kassidy Heart: And now Donovan and Mia want to act as if they have a leg up against us. It’s pathetic. Donovan wants to talk about how he has a smile on his face after taking care of “a couple old wrinkled bitches“, but what he doesn’t realize is that things are far from over. This isn’t going to end with us getting our supposed karma. Quite the contrary.
(That’s when Sienna and Kassidy turn towards the camera and talk, as if they were directly addressing Donovan and Mia.)
Sienna Jade: Yeah, exactly. The two of you got lucky on Sunday night. In fact, maybe you both are giving each other a pat on each other’s gross, prickly, acne-riddled backs right now. First, you come and DISTRACT me when I was about to put away Cy Henderson, and now, you managed to have us fall off from that stage Sunday night. And you know? If Kass and I were two lowly losers like you, we’d be happy too. However, if you were hoping that we’d regret what we’ve done and act as if you’re the ones who can beat us for these titles, then you’re mistaken. We’ve been in this game long enough and have dealt with many other teams just like you who thought they could beat us, but they couldn’t. In fact, Kassidy, when was the last time we suffered a real, demeaning loss as partners?
Kassidy Heart: Hm. Can’t think of that off the top of my head. Might be because of the CTE, or it might be because we’re just that damn good.
Sienna Jade: Exactly, Kassi – we are just that damn good! I mean, if we had a dime for everytime some measly team got the better of us for one week and thought they won the lottery, we could own this company and buy out all the other ones that are cheap imitations of it!
Kassidy Heart: Well, we feasibly could own this company if we truly wanted to, but I’d hate to be even more bored to tears about how my relationship has gotten me far and whatever unoriginal stuff I am more than certain Mia and Donovan will say between now and King of Elite, just like with everyone else that has faced me. At any rate, Mia and Donovan, I hope you two weren’t expecting us to back down. We are the Jaded Hearts, after all. We can truly get nasty if we want to be, and quite frankly, compared to other teams we messed around with, you haven’t experienced what we are truly capable of yet.
Sienna Jade: Considering the stunt you two pulled against us all last week? We aren’t going to be kind. I mean, we never were, but now, things are going to get worse for the two of you. We mean it. I don’t know where you got this idea that you’re gonna put us in our place came from, but rest assured that we’re going to nip that in the bud quickly.
Kassidy Heart: And we will do that. It’s our specialty as the most accomplished tag team in EAW history. We’re always going to remain at the top while people like the two of you will always remain at the bottom. I told you, Donovan, that you were never comparable to me, and you will never come close to replicating the sort of success that I have been able to amass for myself. But not only did you refuse to stay in your lane, but you want to drag Mia along for the ride, getting into her ear and doing all you can to foolishly instill this idea she has a chance of becoming a champion right alongside you.
Sienna Jade: Awww. Someone has been reading some romance novels!
Kassidy Heart: It sure seems like it, because they’re banking on getting that good ending for themselves where they hold all of the gold together. However, that won’t be happening. As long as Sienna and I are the champions, we aren’t going to be losing these anytime soon. There will come a day when a team manages to luck out or perhaps even outperform us for that one night, but will that night be at King of Elite? I highly doubt it. Especially when Sienna and I are motivated more than ever before to absolutely humiliate the two of you.
Sienna Jade: It didn’t have to be this way, either. All you had to do was shut your mouths, be honored about the fact you get to share a ring with us, and be thankful for the opportunity we decided to gift you after you came out and challenged us. But just like everyone else, you had to be stupid and step out of turn. So, we aren’t going to feel bad for what’s about to transpire next. 😊
Kassidy Heart: We certainly won’t. There’s a lesson here that needs to be taught, one that is very valuable, and the two of you will learn not to come after us in this manner ever again.
(There’s a serious tone to Kassidy’s voice. Sienna smirks.)
Sienna Jade: Once we’re done with the two of you, we’re going to continue to be the best tag team in this company while you two… I don’t know, continue to give people fanfic ideas? At least you can be remembered for that! But, you won’t be remembered as being champions, because you won’t be given that opportunity. Sucks for you, but it’s more fun for us!
Kassidy Heart: And you’ll come to remember that this is the Jaded Hearts’ world, and you two simply have the luxury of living in it… for now.
(The two women chuckle. They look at each other before the shot fades out, and Dynasty returns to ringside.)
(Back to the ring, ‘Invincible’ by Pop Smoke plays. The fans all cheer as Chris Elite comes on out. He stops to take in the atmosphere of the sold-out crowd before he continues forward, eventually,
Stew-O: Here comes Chris Elite, one of the four Elitists who will be fighting to become the next number-one contender for the EAW World Heavyweight Championship at King of Elite! And this is a huge match Chris has been looking forward to ever since Territorial Invasion, where he wasn’t able to be awarded with a title match despite his team winning.
Jake Mercer: Oh, come on, are we giving sympathy to him now?
Flannery McCoy: Well, why wouldn’t you? Ms. Extreme and Theron Nikolas were awarded, whereas he, SOSA Henderson and Drake Armstrong received nothing on their part. At least SOSA was ultimately to have two world title matches this season, Chris himself as yet to be given one, and with that in mind, one has to wonder how determined he is to win at King of Elite.
Stew-O: This season has been all about Chris making his comeback to the top of the competition here, and I’m sure he’d love nothing more than to win and cap it all off by defeating either Myles, Bronson Daniels, or Jake Smith at Operation Doomsday!
(Chris gets in the ring where he asks for a microphone. He receives it and his theme fades. The fans rally behind him as he speaks.)
Chris Elite: I’ve been looking forward to this match for a good while. I’ve been wanting this moment, this opportunity to prove myself again, and now that it’s here, I’m ready. Y’all already know what I had to go through. All the talk about if Chris Elite still has it or not, if Chris Elite can still have his spot at the top. There’s been doubts, there’s been questions, but I have never been one to let them get to me. I always knew I had what it took to be at the top again, and I like to think I’ve done a pretty damn good job at solidfying that point.
(The fans cheer.)
Chris Elite: Granted, there have been a few bumps in the road, and I’m not blind to ‘em. I lost my Gawd Contract. I lost at Road to Redemption. Been having some losses here and there. However, who would I be if I got all sad and mopey just cause I’ve hit a few snags? I never said that I was gonna be perfect or unstoppable in season seventeen. I DID say that I was going to get better, keep pushing, and not let anything or anyone get to me, ‘cause through the highs and the lows, I’m always gonna be moving forward, regardless of any of the noise being made. I don’t care what anyone has to say. I know what I can do. I know what I can still do and no one is gonna stop me–
(Suddenly, ‘Faneto’ by Chief Keef hits. A mixed reaction comes from the crowd as SOSA Henderson steps out. He waves around, signaling to cut his music. Having a microphone in hand, he starts to speak.)
SOSA Henderson: Damn Chris, that’s great and all, but ain’t this the same sort of stuff we hear from you? “Yeah I was washed last season, I keep losing some of my matches, but I’m gonna snap back and rebound and be a world champion again!” Same song and dance, it’s just a different day for you. Ain’t nothing changed with you, homie. It’s just the same old, same old, and as far as I’m concerned? You’re back to being the same bumming dude you always have been.
(SOSA gets in the ring, where he meets up with Chris.)
Chris Elite: Bro, I know you ain’t talking about me being inconsistent, like damn, all because I lost the past three of my matches? 💀 So it’s the end of the world for me? I should just give up and not bother ascend to higher heights ‘cause it’s all a waste? As a matter of fact, why are you of ALL people tryna get at me over something like this? If anything, you the odd man out. You don’t deserve to be in this match.
SOSA Henderson: People can question whether or not I deserve my opportunities, but they really need to be doing that to you. I ain’t acting like I’ve been perfect myself, but at least one of us has been able to earn two title matches this season. At least one of us has given a world champion their toughest title defense.
Chris Elite: But did you win, though? No? Exactly. You’ve been stinking up the joint in fact after Territorial Invasion. Richard and Kensingten’s dick riding ass might’ve not given you a title match off rip, but you know what, I’m beginning to think they were right not doing that in the first place. You ultimately proved their point!
SOSA Henderson: And yet, I was able to earn that match against Bronson. You didn’t. You wanna talk about how you ready to pop back up into the world title scene when your ass needs to pop down in a chair at some retirement home and finally call it quits.
Chris Elite: Nah, I think that’s better suited for you, my man.
SOSA Henderson: Really? Cause I think–
(‘Changed It’ by Nicki Minaj featuring Lil Wayne blares out, and the fans cheer. Milli Banks steps out, mic in hand, shaking her head. Her theme fades as she walks.)
Milli Banks: Chile, how about we get into what I think? Cause the two of you could stop arguing like some two old ass men and go sit your asses down elsewhere. Ain’t nobody wanna hear this.
Chris Elite: Sorry, Millie Bobby, but who invited you here?
Milli Banks: Myself. You got a problem with it?
Chris Elite: :francis: There’s a lot I got a problem with, especially with your whiny ass talking about how I don’t deserve to get another shot.
(Milli enters, rolling her eyes.)
Milli Banks: Call it whiny, but imma speak my truth, and the simple fact of the matter is that none of you are on my level. The people wanna see me as the champ. They been waiting on me to have my breakout moment, and now that it’s here, I ain’t in the camp of letting you or you get in the way of it.
SOSA Henderson: Wait, you pointing to me?
Milli Banks: I sure am, ‘cause you’re very much included. How many chances and opportunities are you gonna receive only to blow them? I dunno which of you two is worse, but you know what? At least the good unc tries.
SOSA Henderson: And you tryna say that I don’t try? Look, Milli, I get that you got a cute buzz or whatever, but don’t let that gas your head up, lil sis. At the end of the day, it’s Elitists like you that be wanting to achieve the same things I have, that want what I want, right down to you trying to look like my old bitch, so I suggest you don’t speak out of turn with me.
Milli Banks: Yawn. Same joke. No wonder why you’re such a repetitive ass nigga, cause you keep repeating your L’s. It’s alright, though. Imma handle your ass at King of Elite, and when I win, I—
(‘They Call Me a God’ by NEFFEX plays. Everyone turns to the stage. Walking on down was Ms. Extreme, looking annoyed as can be.)
Ms. Extreme: That’s all you people do, isn’t it? Just bicker and raise your voices so that you can feel as if you’re the one who is truly in the right? It’s pathetic, an in my opinion, unbecoming of former champions.
Milli Banks: Ain’t no way your goofy ass of all people is talking about what’s unbecoming of people. 🥴
(Ms. Extreme gets in the ring, where she walks up right to Milli.)
Ms. Extreme: I am, because I’ve been in this sport long enough to weed out entitled babies who won’t last long in this sport. I mean, you really thought you were going to escape me, but the simple fact remains that I’m better than you, and at King of Elite, I’ll show that you were lucky beating me.
Milli Banks: Girl, nothing was lucky about how I beat you. I whopped your ass fair and square.
Ms. Extreme: So what was with that whole rant last week, then? Because it seems like you’re nervous about having to back yourself up in the ring one more time. If you’re so confident that you’re better than me, then surely, you can go up against me again and not sweat. I’m not some sucker like Chris who is fine being a doormat nowadays for other people.
Chris Elite: Doormat?! Who? You mean SOSA?
Ms. Extreme: I think I said your name clearly.
SOSA Henderson: You’re not funny, my man.
Chris Elite: Wasn’t trying to be. I was just being honest. 🤷
SOSA Henderson: And how have I ever been a doormat? At this rate, your face is looking like one right now, and I’m eager to step all over it.
Milli Banks: And there they go again…
Ms. Extreme: Don’t be focusing on them. You need to focus on me.
Milli Banks: Word? Cause I dont think you would like it if I did that, Camille.
Ms. Extreme: You can go ahead and try me, Tahira–
Stew-O: OH! MILLI STRIKES FIRST, STRIKING MS. EXTREME IN THE FACE! THE TWO WOMEN ARE BRAWLING HERE, GOING BLOW FOR BLOW! AND ON THE OTHER SIDE, CHRIS JUST RAN TOWARDS SOSA, PUNCHING HIM REPEATEDLY! IT’S ALL-OUT WAR INSIDE THE RING RIGHT NOW!
Jake Mercer: AND YET, SOMEHOW SAYING THAT FEELS LIKE AN UNDERSTATEMENT! MILLI AND MS. EXTREME SPILL OUT TO THE OUTSIDE, NOT LETTING GO OF ONE ANOTHER! AND SOSA SHOVES CHRIS OFF OF HIM! COME ON, SOSA, OWN THAT BALD FRAUD! HE LEAPS UP FOR ‘STOLE YO BITCH’–
Flannery McCoy: – BUT CHRIS SLIPS AWAY AND HITS HIM SQUARE IN THE FACE WITH THE ‘BOX OFFICE SMASH’!!! OH MY GOD!!!! AND YOU COULD HEAR THAT SHOT!!! SOSA GOES DOWN COLD, BUT CHRIS MOUNTS HIM AND STARTS TO PUMMEL HIM!!!
Stew-O: EVERYTHING IS DEVOLVING! BUT LOOK – SECURITY HAS ARRIVED!! THE GUARDS ALL COME SWARMING IN AND PULL MILLI AND MS. EXTREME APART!!
Jake Mercer: AND THEY GET IN THE RING, GETTING THAT PSYCHO OFF OF SOSA! OH MAN, BUT I THINK SOSA IS BLEEDING FROM THE MOUTH! HE LOOKS TO BE IN PAIN!
Flannery McCoy: YOU’RE ABSOLUTELY RIGHT! HE’S BEING HELPED UP AND OUT OF THE RING CHRIS REALLY NAILED HIM WITH THAT MOVE!
Stew-O: WHAT AN INSANE FIGHT WE JUST WITNESSED!
(Milli and Ms. Extreme are yelling and screaming at each other. SOSA limps away with medical staff helping him along, the camera capturing his bloodied face. Chris is restrained, yelling out to SOSA to come back and fight him.)
Stew-O: WELL, EAW UNIVERSE, WELL HEAD FOR A QUICK COMMERCIAL BREAK AS WE LOOK TO RESTORE ORDER HERE!
(And Dynasty fades to black, away from the chaotic scene.)
(A commercial plays for Fenty Beauty, featuring Milli Banks.)
(Dynasty returns from the impromptu commercial break. ”My Way” by Limp Bizkit is heard playing in the background as Ryan Wilson is seen sitting in an office chair, opposite side of the announce table to Cy Henderson, both men ready to watch things unfold as his theme fades in the background. The camera cuts to Stephie Love in the ring.)
Stephie Love: THE FOLLOWING CONTEST IS SCHEDULED FOR… ONE FALL!!
Crowd: ONE FALL!!
(“It Follows” by Cane Hill plays to a loudly negative reaction from fans, as Xander Payne saunters down to the ring, and the camera cuts to Ryan Wilson, showing him staring daggers into Payne, looking as if he wants to fight Payne right here, right now, but restrains himself. Meanwhile, Xander looks quite calm, focused on his match instead of Ryan Wilson, paying his rival almost no attention.)
Stephie Love: Introducing first! Hailing out of Toronto, Canada, weighing in at 255 pounds…XANDER PAYNE!!
(‘Pride and Arrogance’ by Takeru Kanazaki plays to an equally negative reaction from fans as Drake Armstrong makes his way onto the stage, and glances out at the crowd before sauntering down the ramp with a smug expression on his face.)
Stephie Love: Introducing first! Hailing out of Scarsdale, New York, weighing in at 260 pounds…HE IS THE FUTURE…DRAKE ARMSTRONG!!
(Xander Payne stares a dagger into Drake Armstrong, and Drake is looking at Cy Henderson ringside, his focus split 50/50 as the referee signals for the bell.)
(DING! DING! DING!)
Stew-O: Bell has rung, and both men will have to remain focused, despite the presence of Ryan Wilson and Cy Henderson ringside.
Flannery McCoy: Well, Drake isn’t off to the best start, already hurling trash talk Cy’s way, that is before turning attention over to Xander, who appears to be keeping his focus, seemingly not much concern toward his opponent at King of Elite.
Jake Mercer: Xander’s already wasting his time with Ryan, why waste anymore in this match between him and Drake Armstrong?
Stew-O: Both competitors circle one another, and start things off with a collar and elbow tie-up in the center of the ring. Drake slips behind Xander for a rear waistlock, but Xander pries the hands apart before performing a go behind, slipping behind Drake for a rear waistlock of his own.
Flannery McCoy: Drake isolates Xander’s arm, and escapes the rear waistlock with an arm wringer, gaining control of the wrist. Drake yanks on the arm, dropping Xander to a knee momentarily before he’s back to his feet. DROP TOE HOLD BY XANDER! Payne floats over into a grounded front facelock on Armstrong, who rises to all fours.
Jake Mercer: Drake wisely twirls out of it, and both competitors scramble back to their feet!
Stew-O: Both competitors are at a stalemate early on, staring one another down before circling a second time. Another collar and elbow tie-up takes place in the center of the ring, and Xander gets the upper hand with a standing side headlock. Payne wrenches on the hold, but Drake manages to escape, bouncing Xander off the ropes!
Flannery McCoy: XANDER REBOUNDS BACK WITH A SHOULDER TACKLE! Xander glances down at Drake briefly before running off the ropes! Armstrong rolls onto his belly, forcing Payne to jump over him, and run off the ropes a second time. Drake pops back to his feet, and explodes with a DROPKICK!
Stew-O: Xander quickly rises to a knee, clutching at his mouth and nose area, having gotten caught right on the button. Payne shakes the cobwebs out of his head, and rises to his feet, circling Drake for a third time. Another collar and elbow tie-up takes place, but this time, Drake gets the advantage with a standing side headlock.
Flannery McCoy: Xander goes down to a knee as Drake continues applying pressure, further wrenching on the hold. Though, Xander does manage to stand himself back up, and bounce Drake off the ropes to escape! BUT DRAKE REBOUNDS BACK WITH A SHOULDER TACKLE! Armstrong runs off the ropes, and Xander rolls onto his belly, forcing Drake to jump over him!
Stew-O: Xander pops to his feet as Drake rebounds off the ropes, and connects with a RUNNING BACK ELBOW! Drake scoots back into the corner, rattled after that elbow from Payne.
Flannery McCoy: Eventually, Drake pulls himself in the corner, and marches toward Xander in the center for another collar and elbow tie-up. Xander gets the advantage with a standing side headlock, but is backed into the corner by Armstrong. The referee intervenes, looking to force a break between the two.
Referee: ONE! TWO! THREE!
Stew-O: Drake starts to seperate from Xander-
Jake Mercer: OOH! Cheap shot by Xander Payne, catching him with a headbutt!
Stew-O: Drake stumbles to the center as a result, dropping to a knee as he favors his head. Xander exits the corner, approaching Armstrong- BUT DRAKE EXPLODES WITH A KNIFE EDGE CHOP, ECHOING THROUGHOUT THE ARENA! Xander staggers away from Drake, retreating to the corner, but Drake closes the distance, proceeding to irish whip Xander to the opposite corner!
Flannery McCoy: Xander hit hard, and comes staggering out- BUT DUCKS UNDERNEATH A CLOTHESLINE ATTEMPT! DRAKE SPINS AROUND, AND TRIES FOR ANOTHER- BUT GETS CAUGHT IN POSITION FOR PEACEKEEPER! THAT URANAG- NO! DRAKE ROLLS OUT OF THE RING, CREATING SEPARATION!
Jake Mercer: But Drake has to remember that he’s not exactly safe on the outside either!
(Drake gets his wits about him, and looks over at Cy Henderson, who stands up out of his seat, prompting Drake to roll back inside the ring, not wanting any parts of Henderson at the moment, who sits back down. Drake hurls trash talk from inside the ring, forgetting that Xander is right behind him.)
Stew-O: OOH! XANDER BLINDSIDES DRAKE WITH A RUNNING FOREARM TO THE BACK OF HIS HEAD! Rookie mistake made by Armstrong, taking his eyes off the opposition, especially when that opposition is Xander Payne, who places Drake in the corner for an irish whip!
Flannery McCoy: Drake gets irish whipped to the opposite corner, BUT GOES UP AND OVER! XANDER SPINS AROUND, AND CHARGES DRAKE! BUT DRAKE HOISTS HIM UP ON HIS SHOULDER, LOOKING FOR THAT GOTCH TOMBSTONE! BUT XANDER PAYNE SLIPS OFF THE SHOULDER, AND ROLLS TO THE OUTSIDE!
Stew-O: Xander bides his time, perhaps trying to conjure a strategy before re-entering the ring. Soon, he does, and both men march toward one another for a collar and elbow tie-up! A jockey for position takes place, but Xander manages to back Armstrong up against the ropes. Drake shifts the momentum, pinning Xander up against the ropes now. But Xander shifts the momentum, pinning Drake back against the ropes now!
Jake Mercer: The referee tries getting between both men to seperate them, but Xander takes ANOTHER cheap shot with a kick to the gut!
Flannery McCoy: Xander grabs hold of Armstrong, and drops him across the top rope with a GOURDBUSTER! Drake writhes in pain before Xander quickly makes the cover!
ONNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEE!!
TWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOO!!
Flannery McCoy: Kickout! Xander pulls Drake back to his feet, and scores with a KNEE TO THE GUT! Drake staggers to the corner, holding his abdomen in clear pain. Xander doesn’t allow him much distance, closing in on Drake in the corner, and connecting with a right hand! Drake is stunned, and Xander irish whips him to the opposite corner!
Stew-O: BUT DRAKE EXPLODES OUT OF THE CORNER FOR A CLOTHESLINE ON XANDER! ARMSTRONG DROPS INTO THE COVER, HOOKING THE LEG!
ONNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEE!!
Stew-O: Kickout at one! Xander sits up, and Drake delivers 12-6 elbows to the chest before locking in a rear chinlock, slowing the pace down, and wearing his opponent down at the same time. Ryan has to be liking what he’s seeing.
Flannery McCoy: Yeah, Ryan has already let it be known that he’s rooting for Drake to win this match.
Jake Mercer: When’d he do that?
Flannery McCoy: You don’t follow him on social media?
Jake Mercer: Nah, it’s a loyalty thing. See, I’m real good with Ronan behind the-
Flannery McCoy: Stop right there, I’ve heard enough.
Jake Mercer: :wtf:
Flannery McCoy: Focusing back on the in-ring action… Xander Payne powers back to his feet. Real unusual to not see the crowd rally behind someone, but when you’ve done the things Xander has, not surprising. Xander begins to loosen Drake’s grip with shots to the rib cage, and connects with a big right hand! But Drake has an answer in the form of a kick to the midsection!
Stew-O: Xander drops to a knee, feeling the effects. Drake pulls him up to a vertical base, and looks for a suplex! BUT XANDER PAYNE BLOCKS IT, AND SHIFTS THE MOMENTUM FOR A SUPLEX OF HIS OWN! Both competitors make it back to their feet afterward, and Drake looks to score with a right hand!
Flannery McCoy: But Xander Payne blocks it, and scores with a right hand of his own! Payne keeps it up with the right hands- that is Drake ducks underneath one, and runs off the ropes! BIG RUNNING FOREARM BY ARMSTRONG! XANDER SCRAMBLES BACK TO HIS FEET, BUT GETS DROPPED WITH A RUNNING CLOTHESLINE!
Stew-O: XANDER RUSHES BACK HIS FEET, AND STAGGERS TO THE CORNER! DRAKE CHARGES WITH A RUNNING CLOTHESLINE, AND TRANSITIONS INTO A RUNNING BULLDOG, PLANTING XANDER IN THE CENTER OF THE RING! DRAKE URGES FOR XANDER TO GET BACK TO HIS FEET, AND HOISTS HIM UP FOR THAT TOMBSTONE PILEDRIVER AGAIN!
Jake Mercer: BUT XANDER SLIPS BEHIND DRAKE, AND REBOUNDS HIM OFF THE ROPES FOR AN O’CONNOR ROLL!
ONNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEE!!
TWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOO!!
TH-
Flannery McCoy: KICKOUT! XANDER PAYNE BOUNCES OFF THE ROPES AS DRAKE SCRAMBLES BACK TO HIS FEET, AND DROPS HIM WITH A CLOTHESLINE! DRAKE POPS BACK UP, AND GETS CAUGHT WITH ANOTHER CLOTHESLINE! AGAIN, DRAKE IS BACK TO HIS FEET, AND THIS TIME CHARGES XANDER WITH A CLOTHESLINE!
Stew-O: BUT XANDER DUCKS UNDERNEATH IT, AND DRAKE BOUNCES OFF THE ROPES INTO A SIT-OUT MICHINOKU DRIVER! XANDER HOOKS THE LEG!
ONNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEE!!
TWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOO!!
THHHH-
Stew-O: SHOULDER UP! Drake rolls away, and pulls himself up in the corner, visibly groggy. Xander sizes his opponent up, and rushes at him in the corner! BUT DRAKE GETS THE BOOT UP! Xander staggers to the center, and Drake marches toward him for a BOOT TO THE GUT! DRAKE GRABS XANDER IN A FRONT FACELOCK!
Drake Armstrong: (off-mic) HAVE IT YOUR WAY!
Flannery McCoy: BRAINBUSTER! BURGER KING BRAINBUSTER! DRAKE HOOKS THE LEG FOR THE COVER!
ONNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEE!!
TWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOO!!
THHHHH-
Flannery McCoy: AND A KICKOUT! The intensity in Drake’s eyes is starting to ramp up as he pulls Xander to his feet, and backs him in the corner. BIG KNIFE EDGE CHOP ACROSS THE CHEST BY ARMSTRONG! Drake goes to whip Xander to the opposite corner-
Jake Mercer: But Xander reverses, sending Drake instead! DRAKE TRIES TO GO UP AND OVER, BUT XANDER CATCHES HIS LEGS, AND ATTEMPTS TO DUMP DRAKE OVER THE TOP ROPE!
Stew-O: DRAKE CATCHES HIMSELF ON THE APRON, AND SMASHES INTO XANDER WITH A FOREARM! XANDER STAGGERS BACK BRIEFLY, BUT TRIES TO GO AFTER DRAKE A SECOND TIME! DRAKE THRUSTS HIS SHOULDER THROUGH THE MIDDLE ROPE- BUT XANDER SIDESTEPS, AND DELIVERS A SUPERKICK TO THE SIDE OF DRAKE’S HEAD AFTERWARDS!
Flannery McCoy: DRAKE FALLS BACK INSIDE THE RING, AND SCOOTS BACK INTO THE CORNER, POSSIBLY NO IDEA AS TO WHERE HE IS RIGHT NOW! XANDER RUNS OFF THE OPPOSITE CORNER FOR A CANNONBALL! NAPALM BLAST CONNECTS!
Stew-O: XANDER PULLS DRAKE BACK TO HIS FEET, AND SENDS HIM TOWARD THE ROPES! POP-UP POWER- NO! DRAKE LEAPS OVERHEAD XANDER, AND LANDS ON HIS FEET! XANDER SPINS AROUND, AND GOES FOR A CLOTHESLINE- BUT DRAKE DUCKS UNDERNEATH IT! XANDER SPINS AROUND, AND GETS CLOTHESLINED OVER THE TOP ROPE!
Flannery McCoy: Drake exits the ring as Xander rises to all fours, attempting to collect himself. Armstrong pulls Payne back to his feet, and irish whips him to a corner of the barricade! BUT XANDER REVERSES, SENDING DRAKE BACK FIRST INTO THE BARRICADE INSTEAD! Xander stands Drake back up, and rolls him inside the ring for a cover!
ONNNNNNNEEEEEEEEE!!
TWWWWWWOOOOOOOOO!!
THHH-
Jake Mercer: Kickout! The match rolls on!
Stew-O: Drake gets brought back to a vertical base, and sent into the corner by Xander. Xander lifts Drake to the top turnbuckle, and keeps him stunned with a right! Xander climbs to the middle rope, and hooks his opponent up for a SUPERPLEX!
Flannery McCoy: BUT DRAKE BLOCKS IT, HOLDING ON TO THE TOP ROPE! AND DRAKE STARTS TO TURN THINGS AROUND WITH A SHOT TO THE RIBS, FOLLOWED BY REPEATED CLUBS TO THE BACK! XANDER IS DOUBLED OVER, AND DRAKE PERFORMS A SUNSET FLIP, LANDING ON HIS FEET, AND PEELS XANDER AWAY FROM THE CORNER WITH A POWERBOMB!
Stew-O: COVER IS MADE!
ONNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEE!!
TWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOO!!
THHHHHHRRRRRRR-
Stew-O: SHOULDER UP! Now, the frustration is beginning to show for Drake, who pounds the mat in anger. Though, an idea looks to have popped in Armstrong’s head as he climbs to the top rope, not often he goes there. AND WITH GOOD REASON AS XANDER PAYNE CROTCHES HIM ON THE TOP TURNBUCKLE!
Flannery McCoy: A smirk forms on Xander’s face as he climbs to the middle, hooking Drake up for a top rope… SUPERPLEX! BOTH men are writhing in pain after that, but Xander manages to hook the leg for a cover!
ONNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEE!!
TWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOO!!
THHHHHHRRRRR-
Stew-O: KICKOUT! Both men slowly rise to a knee, and Xander takes the first shot with a right hand! Both men rise to their feet, and Xander delivers another right hand! Kick to the gut by Drake, who’s looking to battle back! But there’s a kick to the gut by Xander in return! Right hand by Drake!
Flannery McCoy: Xander staggers back, and bounces off the ropes, landing another kick to the gut! Right hand by Drake! BUT A FOREARM BY XANDER! FOLLOWED BY ANOTHER! PAYNE LOOKS FOR A EUROPEAN UPPERCUT, BUT DRAKE COUNTERS INTO A BACKSLIDE!
ONNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEE!!
TWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOO!!
Stew-O: KICKOUT! BOTH COMPETITORS RUSH BACK TO THEIR FEET, AND XANDER CATCHES DRAKE FOR THE URANAGE! BUT DRAKE ELBOWS HIS WAY OUT OF IT, SENDING XANDER OUT THROUGH THE MIDDLE ROPE!
Jake Mercer: XANDER LANDS ON HIS FEET, AND NEEDS TO GET BACK IN THE-
(Xander goes to get back in the ring, but spins around last minute, and spits in Ryan Wilson’s face ringside before rolling back inside, smugly laughing about his actions.)
Flannery McCoy; UH OH! XANDER SHOULDNT HAVE DONE THAT!
(Ryan slides in the ring, but the referee blocks his path to Xander, who taunts Wilson while he’s being restrained.)
Stew-O: RYAN IS TRYING TO GET AT XANDER!
Jake Mercer: BUT IN THE CHAOS! DRAKE ARMSTRONG WITH A KICK TO THE FAMILY JEWELS, AND HE HOISTS XANDER UP, SPIKING HIM WITH THAT GOTCH TOMBSTONE PILEDRIVER!
Flannery McCoy: COVER IS MADE! DEATH PENALTY FOR THE WIN AS RYAN WILSON EXITS THE RING!
ONNNNNNNEEEEEEEEE!!
TWWWWWWOOOOOOOOO!!
THHHHHHRRRRRREEEEEEEEE!!
(DING! DING! DING!)
Stephie Love: HERES YOUR WINNER… DRAKE ARMSTRONG!
(‘Pride and Arrogance’ by Takeru Kanazaki plays as Drake Armstrong rises off the pin, and has his hand raised in victory. Meanwhile, Ryan Wilson is seen on the outside wiping the spit away from his face, annoyed, but at the same time, proud that his distraction cost Xander the match.)
Stew-O: Wow, what a win for Drake Armstrong, toppling an EAW Hall of Famer! But of course, there is a bit of controversy surrounding that.)
Flannery McCoy: Ryan’s distraction cost Xander the victory, but I can’t say that Ryan’s anger in that situation wasn’t completely justified. I mean, Xander literally spit in his face.
Jake Mercer: Xander did a great job at not letting Wilson get underneath his skin too, but in the end, he just couldn’t help himself.
(Drake glances at Cy Henderson ringside, who’s stood up out of his chair, and is clapping for Drake’s victory, a slight grin on his face. Drake decides to exit the ring, and get in his face, causing Cy to get serious.)
Drake Armstrong; (off-mic) Count your days! Count your days, because at King of Elite, that’ll be you!
(Drake points to Xander in the ring, trying to send a message toward Cy, who appears largely a unthreatened by Drake’s threats as the two stare one another down before the camera fades elsewhere.)
(A commercial plays for Mr. Beast Burgers.)
(As Dynasty would come back onto the air, the scene would slowly begin to fade over into a black screen, a video like vignette began to play. At the very start of it, it would show all of the ups, but most importantly, all of the downs that have been a part of the career of the man who calls himself the “New Era” since his signing to this company years ago. It would fade over into a dimly lit room, where Joso was seen standing in front of a camera, a serious expression but with a very smug smirk.)
Joso: Believe it or not, but every opportunity that I have ever been given, every opportunity that I have ever earned in this company from the moment that I signed my name on the dotted line, and I became an Elitist for the company known as Elite Answers Wrestling, has been an opportunity that is deeply cherished by me, without fail. My chances at championships, competing in high stakes matches, high stakes tournaments, and that includes my run in the King Of Elite tournament. Last year, when I competed in this tournament for the first time in my career, it didn’t go the way that I would have hoped for it to, and it wasn’t the best of starts to my year of 2023. I got through the first round, just to then be eliminated within the second round by the man who would then go on to the finals for the Dynasty bracket, Bronson Daniels. That felt as if it was one of the first and biggest missed opportunities of my career up to this point, and it was a failure that would shape how my 2023 would go on from that point onward, in a way I wouldn’t have wanted for it to.
(Flashbacks from the 2023 King Of Elite tournament would begin to play, showing Joso’s performance in the tournament, whether it was beating [REDACTED] in the first round of the tournament, or then losing to Bronson Daniels within the second round when the same man he would beat prior got his revenge, and went out of his way to cost The “New Era” the whole entire thing. The vignette would then leave off at the King Of Elite event that would take place that year, showing the known events before fading back to Joso who did not look happy revisiting it.)
Joso: In last year’s King Of Elite tournament, I had a huge chip on my shoulder, I had people targeting me for one thing and one thing only, and that was the Interwire Championship that I carried around with me. I felt on top of the world, I was ready to repeat history that Andre Walker created the year prior with the Interwire Championship, but that wasn’t meant to be. Being eliminated from the tournament, started a lot of events that I wasn’t able to avoid, events that I wish I could have been able to avoid, whether it was losing the Interwire Championship at the same event the finals took place, not being able to defeat Scott Diamond at Operation: Doomsday, coming so close to winning the Grand Rampage match at the number one position just to be eliminated in the final four, losing my one shot at the World Heavyweight Championship to Limmy Monaghan, and to end what was an amazing season for me turned a nightmare, when I lost the Cash In The Vault ladder match at Pain For Pride XVI. All of this stemmed from the very beginning of the year when I had failed in the King Of Elite tournament.
Joso: …Now fast forward all of those months later, after a first half to this brand new season that I will be the first to admit, hasn’t been the best for me, and I beat Chris Elite to end my year right at Road To Redemption in a highly anticipated street fight, after feeling wronged, betrayed, and held back by the dead weight that he forced me to carry around since the beginning of the season. I have been given a second opportunity to compete in the King Of Elite tournament this year, and this was the opportunity that I was going to make sure didn’t go to waste, I wasn’t going to let a repeat of last year happen, I wasn’t going to let anything other than victory happen. Look at the parallels from my performance last year, to this year… look at how everything’s changed; for the better.
(Clips and replays of Joso’s performances and run in the King Of Elite tournament this year, and in comparison to last year, would begin to play. Promotional videos that he put out throughout the weeks, which would lead into victories on Dynasty against the likes of Cody Maverick in the first round, BRAE in the second round, and finally, Hans Grayson in the semi-finals of the tournament, stamping his ticket as the Dynasty representative for the finals of the 2024 edition of the tournament, before showing Joso once again in the flesh, proud of himself for how far he’s come.)
Joso: Not making it to the finals of the tournament just last year stung, and I will be the first to admit that, as well as admit that it feels as if that run I had in the tournament kickstarted a bunch of missed opportunities that I would end up suffering through that year alone. But now? I have finally found myself getting back on track. Now? I feel like I’m doing something right again, all of those losses had affected me, yes they did, but they have made me better, they have made me realise what I need to change and what I need to get better at, and now, this year, I’m in it for myself, I want to bring the crown back to the Dynasty brand so that more people focus on the product of Friday Nights, but most importantly, I want them to focus on the man who deserves to be King more than anyone else in this tournament, more than the Elitists I went through on Dynasty’s side of things, more than the Elitists on Showdown or Voltage, more than an Alex Myers, and more than Jon Kelton or PJ Hendrx, whoever it may be.
Joso: And I know that people around here like to be slick and speak of my name in vain, talk about how I am one who had a rocket strapped to my back far too soon in my career and that I never deserved the opportunities that I have been given, let alone deserve the right to reach the heights that I have on Dynasty, but don’t let those false narratives sink in to your minds and deprive you of the truth. Does it feel as if I had that rocket strapped to my back quickly? Maybe so, but I also earned that right, I earned the right to consider myself a face of the Dynasty brand and someone who could carry this company into the future without any bumps in the road stopping me from achieving my goal. I was always destined to reach the cosmos of this company, and winning the King Of Elite tournament this year, righting the wrongs of my missed opportunities in the past would mean a lot to me because it not only proves my destiny correct, but it proves anyone who’s ever spoke ill of me wrong in every sense of the word.
(The vignette continues onward, once more showing some of Joso’s greatest successor stories since his arrival in EAW; whether it was winning the New Era Classic Tournament in his debut Pain For Pride, dethroning Andre Walker to become the Interwire Champion, his performances in matches such as the Grand Rampage amongst much more. Joso was confident more than ever before that he was destined to win this tournament, and now that he has reached the finals, he will finally be able to prove that fact. He would continue to speak softly, with assertiveness in his voice, fully showing his confidence.)
Joso: Winning this tournament, and being viewed as one of the greatest and fastest rising Elitists that this company has ever witnessed is everything that I could ever dream of. Winning this tournament is my destiny, I do truly believe that to be the case, I have no reason not to believe in that. To win this tournament, get my guaranteed World Heavyweight Championship match, righting all of the wrongs from last season, and finally proving my place at the top of the world? That is what I have always been destined for, and it will force me to lock in by the time that King Of Elite comes to be, it will force me to wild out, and my destiny will soon bring me to the promised lands when this tournament is all said and done, that’s a spoiler.
(Joso would then stare into the camera with that same smug smirk that he started this vignette off with, flashes of clips that had already played showing up a couple of more times, before he would then walk out of frame, and the scene would soon then go to black.)
(The camera returns to the ring where Stephie Love is standing with a microphone as she is ready to start the introductions for tonight’s Dynasty Main Event.)
Stephie Love: Ladies and gentlemen, this next contest IS A TAG TEAM MATCH SCHEDULED FOR ONE FALL!
Crowd: ONE FALL!
(“My War” by Shinsei Kamattechan starts to play as Bronson Daniels enters the arena to loud cheers from the crowd. He doesn’t look to be in any mood to play around as heads to the ring.)
Stephie Love: Introducing first and making his way to the ring. Residing in Los Angeles, California! Weighing 190 pounds. Here is “THE EMPEROR” BRONSON DANIELS!
Stew-O: Here comes Bronson Daniels as he heads to the ring for tag team action and from what we heard last week during the contract signing that he wants his World Heavyweight Championship back.
Jake Mercer: He shouldn’t have this title shot in the first place since a draw should cancel them both out and Myles should just get the night off.
(Bronson enters the ring and takes his corner as ‘All Of The Lights’ by Kanye West ft. Rihanna, Kid Cudi starts to play and his partner Jake Smith enters the arena also looking to get down to business as he heads to the ring.)
Stephie Love: Introducing his tag team partner! From Atherton, California! Weighing in at 210 pounds! Here is “THE PROCESS” JAKE SMITH!
Jake Mercer: Oh great. Another pain in the ass. I’m not sure if he’s bad or worse than Bronson. Calling themselves the 420s. Amusing.
Flannery McCoy: Call them what you want, but there is some tension between Jake and Bronson after last week. Jake is fed up with Bronson getting the spotlight, but will they be civil enough to make it through this match?
(Jake enters the ring and takes his team’s corner before shooting a look, almost a glare, at his tag team partner as his music is replaced by ‘Lord Knows’ by Drake (feat. Rick Ross) as Cody Maverick enters the arena to loud boos from the crowd. Cody doesn’t care because he is feeling confident as he heads to the ring.)
Stephie Love: Introducing their opponents! First! From Las Vegas, Nevada! Weighing 235 pounds! Here is “THE SIN CITY SUPERSTAR” CODY MAVERICK!
Flannery McCoy: If you ask me, this is the wildcard of the match. He’s confident and he’s got an attitude, but this is without a doubt the biggest match of Cody’s career.
Stew-O: He’s definitely confident going into this match after a victory over Ryan Joseph Wilson last week. Tonight, he is facing off against two former World Champions and he hit the jackpot for his tag team partner.
(Cody enters the ring and takes the opposite corner as his entrance music fades off. Seconds later, “Enemy Strike” by YUKI HAYASHI starts playing and the EAW World Heavyweight Champion Myles enters the arena holding the Championship belt as he heads to the ring.)
Stephie Love: Introducing his tag team partner! From Melbourne, Australia! Weighing in at 225 pounds! Here is THE EAW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION! “PEAK” MYLES!
Flannery McCoy: Myles has got to be feeling good right now because his two opponents are almost at each other’s throats.
Stew-O: That’s at King of Elite. As for this match, Myles is teaming with a man who he beat two weeks ago. Will he be able to work with Cody and get a victory over both of his future challengers? We are about to find out!
(Myles enters the ring and hands the belt to the referee before taking his corner as his entrance music fades off. He doesn’t look amused with his tag team partner, but the referee is there to check all the combatants before calling for the bell.)
(DING! DING! DING!)
Stew-O: Here we go! Tag team action is underway in our Dynasty main event this week and it looks like Cody Maverick will be starting for his team, which Myles is completely fine with, but the other team seems to be having issues.
Jake Mercer: The bell has just rung and those two are already fighting. This might be an early night for Dynasty. I say let the losers fight.
Flannery McCoy: Quit that! It looks like Jake Smith has taken the honor for his team. Bronson looked like he wanted to start, but he just decided to let Jake take the reins, I guess.
Stew-O: Jake and Cody lock up in the center of the ring with Cody’s size advantage helping him overpower Jake and get him in the side headlock, BUT JAKE MANAGES TO QUICKLY ESCAPE!
Flannery McCoy: Jake with the hammerlock and Cody is throwing elbows to try and get free, but the veteran Jake is keeping enough distance to guarantee that none of them hit–
Jake Mercer: HE JUST SLAPPED CODY IN THE BACK OF THE HEAD! That’s disrespectful. Why would you do that to an up and coming star like that?
Stew-O: Jake is known to throw opponents off their game with stuff like that. Like right now with Cody not appreciating that one bit. Now Cody is getting into Jake’s face and telling him off.
Jake Mercer: Jake needed to be told off a long time ago. Especially when he came back and attacked one of my favorite people. PUNCH HIS LIGHTS OUT!
Flannery McCoy: AND JAKE WITH A STRAIGHT RIGHT HAND TO THE FACE AND THAT SHOT STUNS CODY! Jake now with forearms sending the young competitor from Sin City back.
Stew-O: Cody is now backed against the ropes AND JAKE WITH KNEES TO THE GUT THAT ALMOST SEND CODY THROUGH THE ROPES! Jake grabs hold of Cody and whips him to the ropes.
Jake Mercer: Cody comes back as Jake puts his head down AND CODY GRABS JAKE BY THE BACK OF THE HEAD AND DRIVES HIM FACE FIRST AGAINST HIS KNEE! I hope that broke your nose!
Flannery McCoy: Jake is holding his face in pain as Cody comes back AND CLOBBERS JAKE ACROSS THE THROAT WITH A CLOTHESLINE AND JAKE FALLS HARD!
Stew-O: Cody now has hold of Jake like a wet cat and drags him towards the ropes. Cody weaves Jake in between the ropes AND STARTS PULLING HIM BACK USING JAKE’S HAIR FOR LEVERAGE TO CAUSE MORE PAIN!
Flannery McCoy: The referee is right there to tell Cody to get Jake out of the ropes. Like everybody else, Cody is ignoring the referee which forces the ref to start a count.
Jake Mercer: Cody is playing by the rules. He let Jake go at four. NOW HE DRIVES HIS KNEE RIGHT INTO THE SPINE OF JAKE SMITH! Do it again!
Stew-O: Jake has not been able to get out of the blocks of this match as Cody drags him towards the middle of the ring and gets him up in the air! CODY IS HOLDING JAKE IN THE AIR! WHAT POWER!
Jake Mercer: The blood is rushing to his head, which isn’t saying much because there is nothing up in that head of his to begin with. But Cody is keeping him up there for a very long time–
Flannery McCoy: JAKE IS KICKING AWAY TO TRY TO CHANGE THE MOMENTUM IN HIS FAVOR AND IT WORKS! JAKE GETS FREE AND LANDS ON HIS FEET BEHIND CODY!
Stew-O: But Jake almost loses his balance and he starts to stumble back towards the corner–
(TAG!)
Jake Mercer: Bronson Daniels tags himself in. What a shock. Bronson can be such a gloryhound sometimes, but the look on Jake’s face makes it all worth it. Guess Bronson wants the spotlight again.
Flannery McCoy: Jake isn’t happy that Bronson tagged himself in, but he begrudgingly leaves the ring AS CODY RUNS IN, BUT BRONSON WITH A BACK ELBOW TO THE SIDE OF THE HEAD SLOWS CODY DOWN!
Stew-O: Bronson is on the attack and we see that Myles is not amused at his tag team partner at the moment as Bronson HITS A HUGE UPPERCUT ON CODY’S JAW SENDING HIM BACK!
Flannery McCoy: Bronson with a kick to the gut before he hits the ropes. Bronson comes back AND CODY CATCHES HIM AND DRIVES HIM DOWN WITH A MODIFIED SIDEWALK SLAM!
Jake Mercer: If Bronson and Jake were underestimating him before, they sure as hell better not be right now. Cody is earning more stripes in this match.
Stew-O: Cody is putting the boots to the former World Champion as Bronson is rolling to get away, but he is rolling to the wrong side of the ring.
(TAG!)
Jake Mercer: Bronson’s stupidity just gave Cody the perfect chance to tag in the World Heavyweight Champion Myles. Now it’s time for Myles to get down to business.
Flannery McCoy: Now we have the double team with Cody holding Bronson up in a Full Nelson while Myles just FIRES A BACK ELBOW RIGHT IN BRONSON’S FACE! Great teamwork by Myles and Cody.
Stew-O: I don’t know if Cody and Myles like each other, but as we see, they are probably going to work better together than Jake and Bronson. Right now, Myles has mounted Bronson and HE IS JUST POUNDING AWAY AT ONE OF HIS CHALLENGERS!
Jake Mercer: The referee is starting a counter, but it seems like they are going a little faster than usual because it’s Myles. Myles stops on four and brings Bronson back to his feet.
Flannery McCoy: Myles has Bronson by the head and walks him to a corner BEFORE JUST LAUNCHING HIM ACROSS THE RING WITH THAT POWERFUL BIEL THROW. Wait! Not just across the ring. THE FORCE OF THE THROW SENDS BRONSON OUT OF THE RING!
Stew-O: Bronson manages to land on his feet on the outside, but he better be careful BECAUSE HERE COMES MYLES THROUGH THE ROPES WITH WHAT HE CALLS “TOPE CON GIRO”!
Flannery McCoy: That Suicide Dive hit right on the money as Myles sends Bronson crashing down to the ringside floor. Myles is back to his feet and he is on fire at the moment.
Jake Mercer: He isn’t the World Heavyweight Champion for nothing. Especially when he is neutralizing opponents like he is right now. He brings Bronson back to his feet and lifts him up in the air–
Stew-O: OH MY GAWD! MYLES WITH THE X-PLEX DROPPING BRONSON ACROSS THE EDGE OF THE RING! WHAT AN UGLY LANDING ON THE HARDEST PART OF THE RING!
Jake Mercer: Myles is very good at picking apart opponents like this. There is no doubt that Bronson is hurting after that suplex as he rolls back into the ring.
Flannery McCoy: Myles rolls back into the ring as HE DROPS HIS KNEE RIGHT INTO THE MIDDLE OF BRONSON’S SPINE! Bronson is in trouble and he needs to make a tag to get a breather.
Stew-O: I don’t even know if Jake wants the tag after Bronson tagged himself in, but if he doesn’t wanna lose this match, he’ll need to swallow his pride and just ask for the damn tag.
Jake Mercer: Jake Smith? Swallow his pride? Like that would happen. He would rather tell us his legitimate height than do that.
Flannery McCoy: Nice as always. But right now, Myles has brought Bronson back to his feet AND PULLS HIM RIGHT INTO ALMOST A MODIFIED SHORT ARM LARIAT THAT TURNS BRONSON INSIDE OUT!
Stew-O: Bronson could be out on his feet as Myles once again brings Bronson to his feet AND MYLES GOES FOR A SPINNING BACK KICK THAT BRONSON SOMEHOW AVOIDS THE KICK!
Flannery McCoy: That mistake causes the Champion to get off balance and gives Bronson enough to follow up WITH A DROPKICK RIGHT TO THE FACE! The force of the move sends Myles to the ropes.
Jake Mercer: But Myles is coming back with a vengeance BUT BRONSON JUMPS UP AND TAKES MYLES DOWN WITH A FRANKENSTEINER! Our poor World Champion was spiked on his head.
Stew-O: But it gives Bronson enough time to try and tag in his partner so the fresh man can get into the match and Bronson can get a breather.
(TAG!)
Jake Mercer: But Myles manages to get the tag to Cody Maverick who runs right to Bronson Daniels, WHO DROPS DOWN LONG ENOUGH TO CATCH CODY WITH A DROP TOE HOLD! WHAT IS THIS?
Flannery McCoy: Cody goes throat first into the middle rope and that gives Bronson a golden opportunity to get out of this match. He’s very close to his corner as he makes a leap for the tag—
(TAG!)
Stew-O: BRONSON GETS THE TAG TO JAKE SMITH! Whether he wanted it or not, he’s accepting it as he runs right to the middle of the ropes AND JUST KICKS THE YOUNG CODY MAVERICK RIGHT IN THE TEMPLE!
Jake Mercer: That could have been a knockout shot right there, but that long haired greaseball doesn’t care. He gets into the ring and grabs Cody by the head AND SNAPS HIM OVER WITH THE SUPLEX!
Flannery McCoy: Jake tried to float over for the cover, but give credit to Cody. He manages to roll onto his shoulder to prevent a cover from happening. Jake gets back to his feet and picks Cody up AND SLAMS HIM RIGHT TO THE MAT!
Stew-O: Now Jake decides to take a chance by climbing up to the top rope. Jake Smith is up in the high rent district as he waits for Cody Maverick to get to his feet.
Flannery McCoy: Cody has made it back to his feet AND HERE COMES JAKE SMITH OFF THE TOP WITH A PICTURE PERFECT MISSILE DROPKICK-
Jake Mercer: That was easily well scouted and backfired. Cody saw it coming a mile away and he moved out of the way in enough time for Jake to crash and burn on the apron.
Stew-O: Now Cody Maverick looks to take advantage of the opportunity by grabbing Jake and whipping him to the ropes. Jake rebounds off the ropes back to Cody–
Jake Mercer: WHO PICKS HIM UP WITH EASE AND SPIKES HIM DOWN WITH A VERY POWERFUL SPINEBUSTER! Cody calls that “Deep End” and Jake might have just gone off the Deep End as Cody rolls into the cover!
ONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEE!
TWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOO!
THHHHHHHHRRRRREEEE—
Flannery McCoy: JAKE KICKS OUT AT TWO! BOY THAT WAS CLOSE! Can you imagine if Cody was able to knock off Jake Smith before King of Elite and he got the upset victory there?
Stew-O: Could certainly make a case for Cody’s stock to rise tremendously. It’s hard to believe that the cover was the first one of the match.
Jake Mercer: Look who got the first cover. The man who people are calling a “rookie”. Well, people, that rookie about picked up the win. What do you say about that?
Flannery McCoy: I say that you are losing it. Right now, Cody isn’t happy that Jake was able to kick out of the spinebuster. He just grabbed Jake with a handful of hair like a sack of potatoes.
Stew-O: Jake is back on his feet after that show of disrespect and Cody whips him to the ropes, looking for perhaps another spinebuster. Jake comes back and CODY HAS HIM UP IN THE AIR–
Flannery McCoy: BUT JAKE CLAPS THE EARS AND FORCES CODY TO DROP JAKE! Jake backs up against the ropes one more time and HE TAKES CODY DOWN WITH A BEAUTIFUL HEADSCISSOR TAKEOVER!
Jake Mercer: Jake sadly sent Cody for the ride, but Cody flew right into his own corner and there is Myles ready to take the tag for his team.
(TAG!)
Stew-O: Here comes Myles back into the match and Myles HEADS RIGHT FOR JAKE, WHO DUCKS THE CLOTHESLINE ATTEMPT FROM MYLES! Myles head right back to Jake–
Jake Mercer: JAKE SENDING THE WORLD CHAMPION UP AND OVER WITH A BACK BODY DROP! Why would Jake disrespect the World Champion like that? That uncalled for.
Flannery McCoy: Well, that’s part of the match and Myles is back to his feet. Jake is right there as he hoists Myles onto his shoulders looking for a Samoan Driver–
Stew-O: But Myles is right there with elbows to the skull to get free of the hold before hitting the ropes. Myles comes back–
Jake Mercer: AND HE JUMPS UP AND TAKES JAKE DOWN AND OVER WITH A BEAUTIFUL RUNNING HURRICANRANA, BUT HE LETS THE COVER GO!
Flannery McCoy: Myles is back to his feet and Jake quickly follows suit, but Myles is just a little bit quicker to the punch as he grabs Jake and whips him to the corner.
Stew-O: Jake hits the turnbuckles and MYLES COMES IN AT FULL SPEED AND JAKE STOPS HIM IN HIS TRACKS WITH AN ELBOW TO THE JAW!
Flannery McCoy: Jake grabs hold of Myles and finds his way to the middle rope. He has Myles in the powerbomb position, BUT HE JUMPS OFF THE MIDDLE ROPE–
Jake Mercer: AND HE SPIKES THE WORLD CHAMPION’S HEAD INTO THE MAT WITH “HELL ABOVE”! FLIP PILEDRIVER PUTS THE CHAMP DOWN AS JAKE GOES FOR THE COVER!
ONNNNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEE!
TWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOO!
THHHHHHHHRRRRRRRREEEEE!
Stew-O: AND CODY MAVERICK IN WITH THE BREAK UP AND PERHAPS SAVING THE MATCH FOR HIS TEAM AND THE REFEREE IS THERE TO GET CODY OUT OF THE RING!
Jake Mercer: Jake is trying to pull Myles to his feet and tries to get him locked up again, BUT MYLES COUNTERS WITH A JAWBREAKER TO STAGGER JAKE BACK! THERE WE GO!
Flannery McCoy: Myles grabs Jake and whips him to the ropes–
(TAG!)
Stew-O: BRONSON TAGGED HIMSELF IN AGAIN AS JAKE REBOUNDS OFF THE ROPES! MYLES POPS HIM UP AND CLOBBERS HIM IN THE JAW WITH “VICTORIA”! POP UP KNEE STRIKE ON THE MONEY!
Jake Mercer: Now Bronson is legal and he finds himself on the top rope! Myles just turned around and BE CAREFUL CHAMP–
Flannery McCoy: BRONSON COMES OFF THE TOP ROPE, BUT MYLES CAUGHT HIM! MYLES GETS BRONSON ON HIS SHOULDERS LOOKING FOR THE MICHINOKU DRIVER–
Stew-O: BRONSON GETS FREE AND TILT A WHIRLS HIMSELF AROUND AND COUNTERS WITH A MODIFIED TILT A WHIRL DDT! THAT DDT HAD SOME FORCE AS IT SPIKED MYLES RIGHT ON HIS HEAD–
(TAG!)
Flannery McCoy: AND RIGHT INTO HIS OWN CORNER AS CODY TAGS BACK INTO THE MATCH!
Stew-O: Cody gets back into the ring and ducks the kick from Bronson Daniels. Bronson is still holding his back from the suplex from ever, but up until now, you really couldn’t tell that anything was hurting.
Jake Mercer: But Cody comes back WITH A DISCUS PUNCH RIGHT TO THE FACE! Bronson is on spaghetti legs as Cody grabs Bronson around the waist AND GOES FOR THE GERMAN SUPLEX–
Flannery McCoy: BUT BRONSON LANDS ON HIS FEET AND MYLES IS BACK IN THE RING RUNNING RIGHT TO ATTACK BRONSON DANIELS, BUT BRONSON DUCKS AND MYLES GOES FLYING OVER THE TOP ROPE!
Stew-O: Myles lands on the apron, BUT BRONSON DANIELS WITH A SUPERKICK TO THE BACK OF MYLES’ HEAD AND HE CRASHES AND FALLS TO THE RINGSIDE FLOOR!
Flannery McCoy: Bronson got preoccupied with Myles and that gives Cody an opportunity as he grabs Bronson around the waist AND DROPS HIM WITH A GERMAN SUPLEX AND BRONSON LANDS HARD ON THE BACK OF HIS HEAD!
Stew-O: Bronson was knocked for a loop as Cody grabs hold of him. Bronson in the suplex position as Cody picks him up and puts his feet on the top rope. It looks like Cody is setting up for the “Moneymaker” Top Rope DDT–
Jake Mercer: What the hell is Jake Smith doing trying to get into the ring? He is not the legal man. Disqualify his ass. What an idiot.
Flannery McCoy: Either way, if Cody scores with the DDT, then this match could be over, BUT WAIT A MINUTE!
Stew-O: THAT’S BRAE! BRAE HAS COME DOWN TO THE RING AND HE HAS A KENDO STICK IN HAND! BRAE JUMPS ON THE APRON AND CLOCKS CODY IN THE HEAD WITH THE KENDO STICK!
Flannery McCoy: THE REFEREE NEVER SAW A THING! THE REFEREE WAS WITH JAKE SMITH TRYING TO GET HIM OUT OF THE RING!
Stew-O: Cody was knocked silly as he let go of the DDT and Bronson is still on the top rope. Bronson gets to his feet as Cody turns around–
Jake Mercer: BATMAN PUNCH! BATMAN PUNCH FROM THE TOP ROPE AND CODY GOT KNOCKED SILLY ONCE AGAIN! THAT’S CHEATING!
Flannery McCoy: Call it what you want, but I call that a direct hit from the former World Heavyweight Champion. Cody was knocked across the ring and he could be out.
Stew-O: Bronson doesn’t wanna settle for that. He’s going back to the top rope once more. That could only mean he’s going for one thing.
Flannery McCoy: He’s going for his “Leap of Faith”! Nobody has ever kicked out of his version of the Spiral Tap. There is no doubt that this match will be over if he hits this. HERE COMES BRONSON DANIELS OFF THE TOP ROPE!
(TAG!)
Jake Mercer: WHAT THE HELL IS THIS GREEDY BASTARD DOING? Jake just tagged himself in and Bronson looks annoyed that Jake tagged himself in again.
Flannery McCoy: I guess he wants to be the one to finish the match off. Myles has been incapacitated for the moment so Cody is left all alone and he is in a word of trouble.
Jake Mercer: Now this guy is showing off as he pulls down the kneepad as Cody gets to his knees AND HE RUNS FULL SPEED TOWARDS AN UNSUSPECTING CODY MAVERICK–
Deadprez: RIGHT INTO THE “KAIOKEN” BY JAKE SMITH! WHAT A SHINING WIZARD TO CODY’S TEMPLE AND HE IS NOT MOVING! JAKE TAKES THE CHANCE TO ROLL CODY OVER AND HOOKS THE LEG!
ONNNNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEE!
TWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOO!
THHHHHHHHRRRRRRREEEEEE!
(DING! DING! DING!)
(‘All Of The Lights’ starts playing again as Jake rolls off of Cody and starts to get back to his feet and BRAE is watching the end result of their handiwork as Stephie Love announces the final decision of the match.)
Stephie Love: Here are your winners… THE TEAM OF JAKE SMITH! BRONSON DANIELS! THE 420s!
Jake Mercer: How in the hell did those two idiots manage to pull off the win? I can’t believe it.
Stew-O: What a tag team match we had for tonight’s Dynasty main event. The end of this match was chaotic to say the least. Both teams, regardless of chemistry, fought hard.
Flannery McCoy: It all came down to the appearance of BRAE that turned the match in the favor of the 420s and gave them the win.
(Bronson enters the ring and the referee raises both Jake and Bronson’s arms in victory before checking on Cody. Bronson doesn’t look pleased about how Jake took the pin, but he knows there will be a time to fight and it’s not now. Meanwhile, Myles is back up to his feet. He walks over to the timekeeper’s area and grabs his title belt and heads right up the entrance ramp.)
Jake Mercer: Look at our poor World Champion. He is just getting the hell out of here because his team got screwed out of the victory tonight. I hope BRAE PAYS!
Stew-O: Things have been brewing for weeks between Cody and BRAE and it just hit a fever pitch tonight. As we saw, BRAE screwed Cody out of a victory here tonight.
Flannery McCoy: Things are only going to heat up from here after that stunt and when Cody comes to, he is going to be very pissed off and will no doubt be out for revenge. Anyways, congrats to Bronson and Jake on the victory tonight.
Jake Mercer: Then we have our triple threat match. This match certainly hasn’t helped things between them and I hope that Myles beats the holy hell out of them both.
Stew-O: Of course you do. Anyways, Ladies and gentlemen, thank you all for another great edition of Friday Night Dynasty. For Flannery McCoy and Jake Mercer, I am Stew-O. Good night everybody and we will see everybody next week for more Friday Night Dynasty.
(The final shot has Myles standing at the top of entrance ramp not happy that he lost a tag team match to his challengers before cutting to BRAE staring at Cody, who is still not moving after being taken out before cutting to Jake and Bronson starting at each other and Myles because of what their future holds as the shot fades to black.)
