(Friday Night Dynasty intro plays. Once that finishes, a recap of last week’s episode is shown to bring the viewers up to speed. After the montage ends, a live shot of the Moda Center in Portland, Oregon is shown off. 20,000 strong are in attendance, bringing to life a frenetic energy unlike any other. Various shots of the fans are shown off before it rounds over to the Dynasty broadcasting team.)
Stew-O: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, WELCOME TO FRIDAY NIGHT DYNASTY! I’M STEW-O, AND AS ALWAYS, I AM JOINED BY JAKE MERCER AND FLANNERY MCCOY!
Jake Mercer: We are here, baby! Woo! Both the King of Elite and Empress of Elite tournaments are in full swing, and everyone is amped! We got so many interesting matches within it, as BRAE takes on Cosmo Goldworthy, and Kirk Redwood is will be going up against the former Interwire Champion, Vincent Mondrian! As for the ladies, we got Daniella Atlas against Pandora Paisley to see who makes it to round number three!
Flannery McCoy: We also have Holly Arrow and Mia Santoro, Cy Henderson and Chris Elite, and in our main event, Hans Grayson and Joso teaming up to take on Fire & Ice!
(‘Enemy Strike’ by Yuki Hasashi hits, and the fans jump to their feet.)
Crowd: MYLES! MYLES! MYLES! MYLES!
(As if being lured out by their chants, Myles emerges, causing the already-hyped crowd to become even louder. He smirks towards them before he begins his trek towards the ring.)
Stephie Love: “Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome at this time, EAW Hall of Famer…. MYYYYYYYYYYYYLEEEEEEEES!”
Stew-O: Myles is here after a successful and interesting last week. He was able to defeat Kirk Redwood in the main event, but before that, he spoke to Chris Elite. Myles didn’t seem to have any ulterior motives, leading many to wonder what exactly might happen between the two.
Jake Mercer: It was a little strange, not gonna lie, but hey, at least things didn’t pop off despite Chris being disgruntled with his recent failures.
Flannery McCoy: That is true. Still, Myles is here, and I am sure that any and all questions and curiosities will be answered soon enough.
(The cameras cut to the ring where Myles steps through the red-tinted ropes in order to enter. Already having a microphone in hand, he stands right in the center, taking in the atmosphere of the arena briefly. His theme fades, and that sets the stage for him to address everyone.)
Myles: Well, it’s the new year. I don’t have fancy resolutions. I don’t have any idyllic promises that are probably going to get dropped within the next few weeks anyways. At least I already have a win underneath my belt to start things off, so that is indeed nice, but of course, ever since I lost the world heavyweight championship, people have continued to wonder when my time will come to challenge for a title. I already said that I was content with not needing to get back into that landscape. My name holds weight. My name is peak. Championships are synonymous with it, but it is the name I carry, the name that gets announced every week that holds all of the prestige I could ever want. It’s power. It forces people to look twice when they see it on a card. It sends chills down the spines of anyone who dares to stand across from me in this ring. And that, right there, is what defines me. Not the gold. Not the accolades. My presence. My impact. That’s what makes Myles… Myles.
(The crowd roars in approval, chanting his name once again as he smirks, lowering the microphone briefly to let them have their moment.)
Crowd: MYLES! MYLES! MYLES!
(A faint chuckle leaves him before he continues.)
Myles: But, of course… the vultures always circle. The whispers never stop. People want to see me chase gold because it’s entertaining for them. They want Myles back in the so-called title picture because they think it defines me. But I don’t move because the fans demand it. I don’t make decisions because the locker room is whispering, or because people backstage think they can pull my strings. I’ve earned the right to dictate the pace of my career. I’ve earned the right to do things my way. I said it before, but I shall say it again: I am in no rush to become a champion again. I just wish to enjoy this part of my career now for I have gotten every bit of recognition I could’ve ever wanted and more. I am one of the greatest of all time. Hell, if I am allowed to be brazen, I’ll go ahead and say I am the greatest Elitist of this decade. So, there’s no need for me to throw my hat back into the rat’s race. I march to the beat of my own drum. No one else’s. I just want to further solidify my abilities as an Elitist and show that you can very much still lead without having any sort of material possession attached to you. Elitists here are so fixated on the tangible, so obsessed with the glory that comes with holding gold that they act like the world stops spinning if they’re not wearing a championship around their waist. It’s like their entire identity crumbles without it. But that’s not me. That will never be me. And that is why I continue to be head and shoulders above everyone else.
Myles: So, with what I want to accomplish this year… I just want to beat the best. Period. There is no off season for me. No fall off. I just want to enjoy this legacy run of mine while continuing to be the man everyone here looks up to and aspires to be. It may not be the grandest of ambitions, but it is an honest one. That’s more than enough for me. Still, I do wonder if others held more humbler goals if they may be off for the better…
Crowd: :lupe:
Myles: Now, I am not the type who will tell someone to not pursue something they so desperately desire. Still, it’s important to ensure you have all your bases covered and that the foundation is strong before you place anything else on it—and that brings me to someone who’s been on my radar lately: Chris Elite.
(Crowd reacts, with a mixture of cheers and murmurs at the mention of Chris’ name. Myles smirks, pacing slightly as he continues.)
Myles: Now, Chris, I respect what you’ve done in this business. I respect the fact that you’ve carved out a name for yourself, the fact that you prop up being “Gawd Given Greatness” like it’s gospel. You’ve earned that. You’ve fought for that. But lately… I can’t help but notice something’s off. Something’s not clicking for you, is it? You’re scrambling, clawing for relevance in a way that, frankly, feels beneath someone like you.
(Myles pauses, letting his words sink in, his tone even but carrying a sharp edge.)
Myles: Last week, you and I had a little chat. A calm one, I might add. No blows. No threats. Civil. But while I stood across from you, I couldn’t shake this feeling. This… desperation. Like you’re not even sure who you are anymore without a string of wins to your name. And I get it, man, I really do. This business? It’s unforgiving. One bad stretch, one too many missteps, and suddenly people are questioning if you’ve still got it. But here’s the thing: Chris Elite’s not just any wrestler. You’re a former world champion. You’re someone who’s proven, time and time again, that you can hang with the best. So why, Chris… why do you look like you’re struggling to believe in yourself right now?
(The crowd gives a mixed reaction, some booing, some shouting support for Chris. Myles tilts his head, as if genuinely pondering his own question.)
Myles: Maybe it’s because you’ve been so busy trying to live up to that larger-than-life image you’ve created for yourself. They’re lofty ones to live up to. But what happens when the results don’t match the hype? What happens when that image starts to crack? Let me tell you what happens, Chris. You start looking around, blaming everyone else for your failures. Management, the fans, the roster—anyone but yourself. I see it all over your face, man. You’re frustrated, and instead of using that frustration to light a fire under yourself, you’re letting it consume you.
(Myles leans into the ropes now, his eyes locked on the camera as though speaking directly to Chris Elite.)
Myles: But don’t get me wrong, I’m not out here to bury you, Chris. In fact, I’m doing you a favor. See, I know what you’re capable of. I know the kind of competitor you are. That’s why I’m calling you out right now. Not out of malice, but out of necessity, because if there’s one thing I want to accomplish this year, it’s to prove that I’m the best in this company. And to do that? I need to beat the Chris Elite who doesn’t make excuses. The Chris Elite who steps into this ring and leaves it all out there. The Chris Elite who knows he’s a threat to anyone standing across from him.
(The crowd pops loudly, sensing the intensity in Myles’ voice. He steps back toward the center of the ring, his tone becoming sharper.)
Myles: So, Chris, I’m giving you a choice. You can stay on the path you’re on, wallowing in frustration, blaming the world for your shortcomings, and letting the whispers about your decline grow louder and louder. Or… you can step up. Face me. Prove to me, to these people, and, most importantly, to yourself that Chris Elite isn’t finished. That Chris Elite isn’t a man who talks a big game but can’t back it up anymore. Because let me tell you something right now: I’m not here to carry you to relevance. I’m not here to give you a sympathy spotlight. If you step into this ring with me, you better bring your absolute best… or I’ll make sure everyone sees you for what you’ve become—
(‘Invincible’ by Pop Smoke cuts in, and Chris hastily storms down to the ring. When the camera zooms in, nothing more than a rigid frown sits on his face.)
Stew-O: Well, ask and you shall receive! Chris Elite is here, but I don’t think he’s all too pleased about what Myles had to say.
Jake Mercer: No kidding! What’s up with the boo-boo face? Then again, he always has to get mad for no reason at others.
Flannery McCoy: Well, Myles did call him out, Jake. He pretty much put him on the spot. Just have to wait and see how this all plays out.
(Chris slides in and demands a mic. A ringside crew member hands it off to him—and he snatches it away from them, causing some of the fans to boo at the disrespect. ‘Invincible’ fades, and Chris narrows his eyes at Myles.)
Chris Elite: First off, who in the hell are you to be calling shots like that? You wanna goad me to face you like it can be some cute lil akekeke moment when you wanna run your mouth about shit you know nothing about? Man, hop off it. Just because people wanna dick eat and call you the greatest to have held our world title does NOT mean you get to call me out by name, big fella.
Myles: … And yet, you’re here. :mjlol:
Chris Elite: Cause I wanna be able to tell it to your face that you’re full of shit. You wanna stand there acting like you’re some kind of moral high ground, like you’ve got me all figured out, but you don’t know me, Myles. You think you can come out here, spit your little speeches about my so-called “decline,” and that’s gonna not make me feel some type of way? Are you goofy? You don’t know what I’ve been through. You’re looking at what’s right in front of you while I’m looking at the whole damn board. And that’s why you don’t get it. You’re too busy talking about my frustrations like you’re some therapist with a clipboard, diagnosing my ‘problems.’ bit you don’t know what the hell I’ve been through, what I’ve had to fight through, and what I’m STILL fighting for. You think you’re calling me out for MY sake? Nah, let’s be real, Myles. This isn’t about helping me “prove” anything. This is about YOU. This is about YOU wanting to add another big name to your list of “legacy matches.” You’re just trying to use me as a stepping stone to boost YOUR little ego trip. Acting like you’re some kind of saint who’s out here doing me a favor? Man, miss me with that BS.
Myles: Okay, first off—relax. Breathe.
Chris Elite: Are you for real right now??
Myles: Might as well since you think I’d make for a fine therapist. :troll:
Chris Elite: I ain’t joking around with you. You’re annoying. This know-it-all crap ain’t it. Matter of fact, you shouldn’t even BE in my business!
Myles: You’re right. I shouldn’t…
(Myles gets right up into his face.)
Myles: But I am now, so what are you going to do about it?
(Chris purses his lips, narrowing his eyes at Myles. The fans are stuck like glue as they wait to see what’s going to happen next. It isn’t until Chris kisses his teeth and fans Myles off that things get going again—just not in the way many expect.)
Chris Elite: You know what? No. I ain’t feeling this.
(Chris shakes his head and… he turns around. He walks towards the ropes.)
Crowd: BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
(But before he’s able to leave, Myles speaks up.)
Myles: That’s it? That’s how you’re gonna play this, Chris? Walking away? Running from the heat? Man… I guess I hit a nerve after all.
(The crowd’s boos grow louder as Chris pauses near the ropes, one leg already through the middle rope. He stops dead in his tracks, his head lowered as Myles continues.)
Myles: Go ahead, Chris. Keep walking. Prove me right. Prove to the world that the whispers are true. That the once great World Heavyweight Champion who carried this fucking promotion on his back is nothing more than a hollow shell, too scared to face the truth. Too scared to face me. Too scared to even take that leap of faith and see where it can take him.
(The crowd erupts in gasps while others cheer Myles on. Chris freezes for a moment before slowly pulling his leg back into the ring. He turns around, visibly fuming, his jaw clenched tight.)
Chris Elite: You really don’t know when to shut up, huh?
(Chris gets closer.)
Chris Elite: You wanna get shit popping with me? Fine. But just be careful with what you ask for, cause I meant it when I told you last week I’m not here to play any games with you. Imma fuck you up, Myles, so get ready. I’m gonna make you wish you had minded your business and left me alone.
(The fans gasp even louder from that. Chris slams down the microphone emphatically before storming out of the ring. Myles watches on, not at all bothered by the intense words being shared from Chris, or his apparent warnings.)
Stew-O: That got heavy fast! Yet it seems like Chris is going to take up on Myles’ offer for a match!
Jake Mercer: He isn’t happy about it, though. Look—I think I see a tear rolling down his cheek!
Flannery McCoy: Quit it, will you?
Jake Mercer:
Stew-O: An interesting development has just unfolded right before our eyes. We can only assume that a Myles and Chris Elite match will be happening sooner than later. Still, what exactly is going through Chris’ mind—and is this an endevour worth venturing into for Myles?
(The final shot shows Chris disappearing backstage before Dynasty fades to commercials.)
(A commercial plays for the PS5 Pro, featuring the Dynasty roster looking confused as fuck because they can’t see any neglible difference between it and the standard PS5. Get scammed at your own risk!)
(The camera cuts to Stephie Love in the ring.)
Stephie Love: The following contest, is a King of Elite Round One, scheduled for one fall!
Crowd: ONE FALL!
(‘RUNITUP’ by Tyler The Creator & Teezo Touchdown can be heard blaring throughout the speakers as Cosmo Goldworthy emerges from the back with confidence etched across his expression. He makes his way down the ramp, nodding to himself as he’s prepared for the match to come.)
Stephie Love: Introducing first! From Oakland, California, weighing in at 220 pounds, COSMOOOOO GOLDWORTHY!
Stew-O: Cosmo Goldworthy has been certainly proving himself to be an elitist to watch out for in 2025, as he is now venturing into the King of Elite tournament!
Flannery McCoy: This will be the necessary proving ground for Cosmo as he steps into the fray with an elitist who absolutely has become a benchmark for wrestling as a whole in its purest form!
(‘Duel of the Fates’ can be heard blaring throughout the speakers as the audience reacts loudly to the arrival of the New Breed Champion, BRAE. The champion sports the title around his waist, gazing upon the crowd with an intense gaze on his face, maintaining all of his focus as he’s walking down the ramp.)
Stephie Love: Introducing his opponent! From Novosibirsk, Russia! Weighing in at 215 pounds… HE IS THE NEW BREED CHAMPION…. BRRRRRRRRRAE!!!
Stew-O: The New Breed Champion has always been one to accept any challenge that should come his way, BRAE’s looking to have an incredible encounter with his opponent tonight, and that much is a treat for this tournament to have in store..
Flannery McCoy: BRAE will march into battle yet again against a competitor that can be tested for what he brings to the table, to ensure it’s not gonna be anything for BRAE to even think about underestimating tonight.
(DING! DING! DING!)
Stew-O: And we’re off! We have another round one bout for the King of Elite tournament on the way as BRAE is now taking on Cosmo Goldworthy right here on Dynasty! BRAE & Cosmo keep their gazes set toward one another as we are sure to expect an encounter that’ll be amply remembered, and this tournament can truly open the door for any victor who wishes to set their name on the etches of history. Now we won’t be slowing down the action by any means as we certainly are seeing both men circle around the ring & kick this match off the best way that they can. BRAE is focused even more so as he’s not relenting from ensuring that he can close this gap with Cosmo, and his opponent is also looking to see if there’s any advantage to seek out here while both elitists maintain their pace.
Flannery McCoy: Which kickstarts with the two maneuvering toward one another and engaging in a collar & elbow tie-up! They’re both keeping the tie-up held as they are emphatic on trying to place the other person through this start, and now BRAE is mustering up all of his weight behind him to push Cosmo into the ropes, and now the referee has to count down as he’s making sure the risk of a disqualification is prevalent in a match of this magnitude, where this win tonight can continue crucial momentous as the tournament rages on! BRAE slowly let’s off of Cosmo, with his own hands raised as Cosmo would do the same here, and backing away for a brief moment…
Jake Mercer: ‘TILL BRAE SENDS A SWIFT CHOP sprawling across the chest of Cosmo! Cosmo felt every single bit of that chop as he’s shaking his own head vigorously, keeping a hand clutched onto the ropes as he had no choice but to hold on while the New Breed Champion doesn’t refrain from sending ANOTHER CHOP ACROSS HIS CHEST FOR GOOD MEASURE! Cosmo’s feeling every bit of these chops as he’s trying to maintain as much of his composure as he can, but BRAE is making this increasingly difficult as he’s now aiming for a THIRD KNIFE EDGE CHOP that makes Cosmo reel back into the corner!
Stew-O: BRAE’s taking notice to Cosmo moving backward into the corner, and he’s not looking to allow his opponent any more room to relax here as he’s now rushing forward and seeking out this leaping forearm with ILL INTENT—BUT COSMO WITH A BOOT UP! BRAE is nailed across the jaw as he’s forced to back himself away, clutching onto his own jaw as it seems this will not turn into the complete control he was looking to continue maintaining! BRAE’s looking to remain on the hunt and rushes back over to Cosmo while he’s still struggling to fully recoup—
Flannery McCoy: BUT A DROPKICK FROM COSMO IS MORE THAN ENOUGH TO SEND BRAE INTO THE CORNER!! The New Breed Champion is now taken aback as Cosmo doesn’t slow down when he rushes toward the corner and CONTINUES TO HALT BRAE WITH AN ELBOW ACROSS HIS TEMPLE!! And now Cosmo is applying the pressure, sending punch after punch across his jaw as he’s now keeping BRAE held back against the corner while the referee is beginning to count down! This can pan out rather poorly for Cosmo himself here as the referee is now beginning to count down on him! Disqualification is not ideal and neither is making a poor impression with the few experiences that Cosmo has!
Jake Mercer: Eventually BRAE is given the slightest breathing room with Cosmo backing away from the corner with his hands raised, but the referee is certainly giving him a scolding ‘till Goldworthy decides to rush himself toward the opposite corner, and now rushing back as he’s looking to keep him reeling with AN ELBOW ONCE AGAIN—BUT BRAE WITH A HOLD OF COSMO UPWARD AFTER EVADING THE ELBOW & NAILING HIM DOWN WITH A URANAGE!! Cosmo is now clutching onto the back of his own neck as he’s trying to drag himself back up quickly with use of the ropes, but it appears that BRAE is not slowing himself down either!
Stew-O: AS BRAE’S WRAPPED HIS ARMS AROUND HIS WAIST AND SEEKS OUT A GERMAN SUPLEX!!! But Cosmo is clutching onto those ropes and ensuring that he can hold out for as long as possible!! His hands are grasping onto the ropes to make sure that BRAE is struggling quite a fair deal to pry him away from the ropes & commit to the suplex! Although this is halted completely as we see a sudden back elbow from Cosmo connect right across the temple of BRAE to get him off of himself! BRAE’s forced to let go & back away, not exactly keen on keeping away for long as he’s now rushing back as well—
Flannery McCoy: BUT COSMO RUSHES FORWARD AND IS ABLE TO LAND A HURRICANRANA THAT TAKES BRAE OFF OF HIS FEET!! The New Breed Champion has no choice but to roll through and he rolls directly out of the ring as well! BRAE is trying to bring himself upward but now Cosmo is also able to get himself moving! Cosmo is climbing up to the top of the turnbuckle as BRAE is bringing himself back up with the help of the apron, but this may not allow him to remain mobile in enough time to get back into the ring as COSMO’S LAUNCHING OFF!
Jake Mercer: DIVING CROSSBODY ONTO BRAE FROM THE TOP TO THE FLOOR BELOW!! Cosmo is able to land with the crossbody as BRAE was just taken down with considerable fashion in mind! Goldworthy is now standing back up as he’s got his hand on the barricade, nodding to himself as he was able to pursue the maneuver at hand & succeeded in connecting! BRAE is struggling to get himself back up well on his own, but he’s still conscious enough to remain from being prone on the ringside floor for long!
Stew-O: As Cosmo is now trying to drag BRAE from off of the floor and back into the ring, hoping to take advantage of the situation as BRAE is now being pushed into the ring while Cosmo drags himself back up as well! BRAE is slowly but surely rising back up to his feet while Cosmo is now clutching onto the ropes as he waits for BRAE to bring himself back up, now looking to keep his opponent down and move on in this Round One battle as he’s able to jump onto the top rope before BRAE TURNS DIRECTLY INTO COSMO’S NEXT ATTACK!!
Flannery McCoy: AS A SPRINGBOARD DROPKICK CONNECTS!! BRAE is taken down as Cosmo quickly crawls himself over to his opponent and hooks the leg, looking to move on as the referee counts this pin!!!
ONEEEE!!!
TWOOOOOO!!!
T—
Jake Mercer: NOTHING THERE! Cosmo is unable to put BRAE away as he’s now sitting himself up and trying to quickly think about exactly what he can do next! Cosmo’s now quickly bringing himself around and gets his arm around BRAE as he’s quick to apply a GUILLOTINE CHOKE!! BRAE is trying to keep himself elevated from off the ground while he can but Cosmo has made this effective enough to keep him from employing any advantage whatsoever! The referee is keeping a very watchful eye of the New Breed Champion as he can either pass out or submit right then & there, but the said champ’ is very much holding out for as long as he can here!
Stew-O: Cosmo is still refusing to slow down with this submission however! He is absolutely wrenching his arm around BRAE’s neck tightly and trying to bring the victory home in any way that he can, and with this guillotine choke you can expect that to be a possibility! Could very easily be the biggest win of Cosmo’s career, and BRAE is still trying to fight for as long as he can! The referee may very well have to make a tough decision here if BRAE is unable to escape the submission maneuver soon before long—
Flannery McCoy: BUT BRAE USES HIS OWN ENERGY TO FLIP HIMSELF OVER INTO A NORTHERN LIGHTS PIN!!! COSMO’S TRYING TO SQUIRM FREE BUT HIS SHOULDERS ARE DOWN!!!
ONEEEE!!!
TWOOOOOO!!!
T—
Jake Mercer: COSMO SQUIRMS FREE FROM THE SUDDEN PIN ATTEMPT!! BRAE was also able to free himself as he’s now got a hand around his own neck, with Cosmo swiftly bringing himself back up to his own two feet as he’s looking to maintain the control he just had, and he doesn’t want BRAE to garner any manner of an advantage before it turns for the worst! Goldworthy rushes toward BRAE WITH A ROUNDHOUSE KICK TO PUT HIM DOWN!!
Stew-O: ‘TILL BRAE DUCKS THE KICK & GETS HIS ARMS AROUND HIS WAIST—AS A GERMAN SUPLEX CONNECTS THE SECOND TIME AROUND!! Cosmo is dropped on the back of his own neck as BRAE has now managed to make valuable room for himself! BRAE is now dragging Cosmo back into position here, and he’s looking to put him down with an emphatic touch as he’s now placing him directly into his own control BEFORE HOISTING HIM UPWARD!
Flannery McCoy: AS A BUTTERFLY DDT CONNECTS TO SEND COSMO SPIRALLING DOWNWARD! BRAE is now crawling himself over and onto Cosmo as well, hooking the leg as the referee has to count this pin!
ONEEEE!!!
TWOOOOOO!!!
THRE—
Stew-O: STILL NOT ENOUGH! Cosmo kicks out as he’s able to raise his arm upward, but now BRAE has grabbed his arm and proceeded to send a VICIOUS FOREARM RIGHT ACROSS THE JAW OF COSMO WITH GOOD MEASURE! And BRAE is keeping a hold of his wrist as he’s now bringing himself up, now back up to a proper stance while Cosmo is still laid against the mat in what could be a terrible spot for him to be! BRAE’s eyes are widened & it is looking as if he has plenty of pressure in store for his opponent!
Flannery McCoy: AS HE SENDS A STRONG STOMP RIGHT ONTO HIS UPPER CHEST!! BRAE is now repeatedly stomping onto Cosmo’s chest with a grip of his wrist to keep him from going anywhere else upon impact, his chest is truly etching itself into a streak of red with all of the stomps that have sprawled themselves onto Cosmo! BRAE is refusing to relent back with these stomps as he’s placing the newcomer through all of the strife that he can possibly welcome him to!
Jake Mercer: And now BRAE’s dragging Cosmo upward and onto his knees, as he’s shaking his own head while assuring that Goldworthy has all of the heat to undergo with each maneuver that BRAE has made! The New Breed Champion isn’t too keen on slowing himself down as he now seeks out pulling Cosmo directly into a swift BLACK HOLE SLAM—
Stew-O: BUT COSMO REVERSES INTO A SUDDEN STO THAT TAKES BRAE DOWN!! BRAE was trying to put his opponent back down but this much becomes unsuccessful after Goldworthy was able to put him down himself with the STO!! Now BRAE is trying to rise back up, but he’s disoriented & not exactly in his best manner here as Cosmo has risen back up as well, in much better sense of mind currently than his opponent while RUSHING FORWARD & TURNING THE OPPORTUNITY INTO A JUMPING KNEE!!!
Flannery McCoy: The knee lands as BRAE teeters immensely, backing himself up into the ropes as he’s absolutely staggered & unable to retort back while being knocked into said ropes, before rebounding forward & THEN MUSTERING UP THE ENERGY TO AIM FOR A SUDDEN LARIAT WHILE MOVING AHEAD TO COSMO—BUT COSMO DUCKS & TURNS BRAE INTO ‘READY TO DIE’!! TORNADO KICK CONNECTS AS COSMO RUSHES HIMSELF OVER TO HOOK THE LEG WITH THE REFEREE SLIDING TO THE COUNT!! The end may be near as Cosmo is closing in on the win here to move himself on!
ONEEEEEEE!!!
TWOOOOOOOOOO!!!
THREE—
Stew-O: KICK OUT!! BRAE has more than enough remaining in the tank as Cosmo will have to rethink how he wants to tackle this dilemma of the New Breed Champion remaining in his way tonight! But he’s thinking quickly, as he’s now dragging BRAE over to the corner and now looking to make the climb back up to the top of the turnbuckle! Goldworthy is making that trek and now finds himself at the top as well, able to find the ground that he needs while his opponent hasn’t made any movements! Cosmo’s ready to take flight as HE LEAPS OFF AND AIMS FOR THE ‘COSMOLOGY’ SHOOTING STAR PRESS—
Flannery McCoy: BUT THERE’S NO ONE HOME!! BRAE IS ABLE TO MOVE OUT OF THE WAY AS COSMO LANDS HARD ONTO THE CANVAS!! Cosmo has to roll himself away from the mat and onto the apron, as he’s slowly dragging himself back up to his feet using the ropes while struggling to maintain the same consciousness that he had before the attempt! Thankfully he’s able to return to a stance, albeit with the ropes being held to keep himself up BUT HERE’S BRAE HOLDING HIM BACK ON THE ROPES!!!
Jake Mercer: FOR THE ‘TEN BEATS OF BRAE’!!! ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR! FIVE! SIX! SEVEN! EIGHT! NINE! TEN!!! They’re all successful as Cosmo is unable to retort back against his opponent, with BRAE now keeping a hold of Cosmo’s wrist as he’s dragging him through & back into the ring, able to make good on ensuring that he can return to all of the control that he was able to manage after everything he’s placed Cosmo through… AS HE PULLS HIM DIRECTLY INTO A DISCUS CLOTHESLINE FOR GOOD MEASURE!!!! BRAE hooks the leg for the win!!!
ONEEEEEEE!!!
TWOOOOOOOOOO!!!
THREEEEE—
Stew-O: KICK-OUT!!! COSMO IS STILL FIGHTING!! Now BRAE is backing himself toward the corner, as he’s laying in wait while Cosmo is looking to return back to his feet while trying to find any way of getting himself up! Goldworthy is still down flat on the mat and not being able to understand that BRAE is now keeping his attention on him here, AS WE’RE GONNA SEE BRAE LAUNCH HIMSELF INTO COSMO FOR THE ‘RED DEATH TO ARRIVE’—
Flannery McCoy: COSMO QUICKLY ROLLS UP BRAE IN A HURRY AND TRIES TO PLACE ALL OF HIS WEIGHT ONTO THE NEW BREED CHAMPION!!! BRAE’S SQUIRMING BUT IT’S NO USE!!!
ONEEEEEEE!!!
TWOOOOOOOOOO!!!
THREEEEEEEEEE—
Jake Mercer: NO! BRAE IS ABLE TO KICK OUT AS COSMO ALMOST SCORED THAT ONE!!! Goldworthy is quickly returning back to his feet as he’s now looking to get the advantage over BRAE while he can, refusing to slow down as the New Breed Champ’ is rising back up to his stance and NOW COSMO RUSHES OVER WITH THE HURRICANRANA—
Stew-O: THAT BRAE TURNS INTO A POWERBOMB!!! COSMO IS POWERBOMBED ONTO THE MAT AS BRAE QUICKLY BACKS HIMSELF AWAY BRIEFLY BEFORE RUSHING FORWARD—AND NAILING THE ‘RED DEATH’!!!! COSMO IS DOWN AS BRAE MAKES THE COVER!!!
ONEEEEEEE!!!
TWOOOOOOOOOO!!!
THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
(DING! DING! DING!)
Stephie Love: HERE IS YOUR WINNER, MOVING ON TO THE QUARTER FINALS… THE NEW BREED CHAMPION, BRAE!!!
Flannery McCoy: An impressive victory from BRAE tonight as himself & Cosmo put on a great outing for the tournament! Cosmo has so much potential in EAW that he can live up to if he remains focused, as this match proved that much!
Stew-O: Cosmo will absolutely be a strong elitist to match here on Dynasty, but the New Breed Champion continues to prove why he is one of the most exciting elitists today. Congratulations to BRAE!
(‘Duel of the Fates’ can be heard blaring throughout the speakers as BRAE stands tall, with the New Breed Championship held high as the referee raises his hand in victory. BRAE nods to Cosmo, who leans by the ropes as he’s disappointed with the result but confident for the future ahead with the scene fading.)
(Friday Night Dynasty returns to show the backstage area of the Moda Center as the crowd here in Portland tonight is bustling in anticipation for what’s to come in an already jam-packed show. Michael Belfort is seen standing by in front of an EAW backdrop with a smile and a microphone in hand, as he begins to speak while the noise quiets down.)
Michael Belfort: Welcome back to Friday Night Dynasty and what an opening match we’ve just seen between the New Breed Champion BRAE and Cosmo Goldworthy. The Imperial Symphony continues to show why he’s holding a title on this brand and relative newcomer Cosmo shows why he’s here to stay. Unfortunately, only one could move on in the King of Elite tournament and what a stacked field we have on hand. With our quarter-finals matches being set up tonight, all four Elitists will be vying for a spot in the finals, where they’ll get closer and closer to their opportunity of becoming the King of Elite! Tonight, I have the chance to speak to one of those contestants. Please welcome my guest at this time… Corey Hale!
(The crowd begins to cheer loudly as the camera goes over to show Corey Hale as he’s seen making his way into the scene with a smile on his face. After some time, he then nods his head toward Michael.)
Corey Hale: Michael, good to see you.
Michael Belfort: Pleasures all mine Corey. First, I’d like to ask you about what’s on the itinerary for you in the King of Elite tournament coming up next. You’ll be facing Drake Armstrong in a quarterfinal matchup, and if you beat him, you’ll have an opportunity to be in the finals to represent Dynasty at the King of Elite Marquee Event. Are there any thoughts that you can give us right now?
(Corey takes a deep breath, taking a moment to compose his thoughts before then looking up as he continues to speak.)
Corey Hale: It’s a massive honor, one that I am extremely grateful for. Not a lot of people can say that they’ve been not only placed in my position but succeeded in my position and it gives me a newfound outlook on the King of Elite tournament. See, I said that if I could get past the first round, if I could beat the opponent that they put in front of me with the caliber of talent that he possessed, then I could do anything. Me winning that match last week, at least in my mind, asserted to me that my spot in this bracket wasn’t for no reason. They didn’t put me in here because they needed a body, they put me in here because they knew exactly what I’d be able to bring to the table and that’s something completely different from everyone else. I look at Drake Armstrong and I see a severely misguided man. A man who’s competing out of rage, anger, and most importantly, revenge. He’s let that get into his head and knock his composure out of wack, and while I could stand here and tell him to calm down, I know that I can also use that to my advantage. Just like they didn’t expect me to beat Jay Jerry Johnson, I’m sure they’re not going to expect me to beat Drake, but that’s what being an underdog is all about. I’m not guaranteeing anything Michael, I’m just saying that whatever happens out there is going to be telling of how the rest of this tournament is going to go, I can say that much.
Michael Belfort: Well you mentioned how big of a win last week was and let’s take a moment to address that even further. As you said, not a lot of people were expecting you to beat the Interwire Champion, but you managed to pull off the upset and advance in the tournament. What does that mean for you?
(Corey takes a moment to process this, nodding his head slowly before he goes on.)
Corey Hale: It means a lot, it does. I have a lot of respect for a competitor like Jay Jerry Johnson, being a two-time Interwire Champion is something that only he and another person have been able to do and it’s not an easy feat at all. So to say that I was able to get at least the smallest bit over on him is something that validates a lot of what I’ve been saying since my arrival to this company. It’s not something that I take lightly, and it’s something that I do not take for granted whatsoever. I do not doubt that whatever he does next is going to be destined for greatness, but right now, my mind is completely focused on the next step. My sole objective is making sure that I get past this next obstacle that’s been put into my way and beat Drake Armstrong in the quarterfinal. He’s a former Champion, I hdo not doubtthat he is going to be a future World Champion down the line, and what that means for me is that there is going to be absolutely zero room for error. If I mess up even once then I know that it’s going to be my undoing, and I can’t afford that. Jay was a good feeler into what is in store next for me, but I know that beating him is only a small piece of what I need to do if I want to even entertain the idea of being the King of Elite.
Michael Belfort: I know you said you were completely focused on this tournament, but to add to the previous question, do you think that there is any world where because of your upset win you get a shot at the Interwire Championship?
Corey Hale: Well I wouldn’t bank on it, Michael. While that would be a great opportunity for me to continue to prove myself, ultimately I’m not the one who makes the decisions around here. I’m just looking to take it one week at a time.
???: And that’s what I respect about you.
(Corey looks confused as he turns around, with the camera panning away to show Interwire Champion Jay Jerry Johnson making his way into the scene. He had a nonchalant expression on his face as he continued to speak.)
Jay Jerry Johnson: Don’t call it luck. You caught me off guard and I paid the price for it, that’s something that I can acknowledge.
(Jay holds his hand out, offering a handshake between the two. Corey doesn’t hesitate as he shakes his hand. But as he does, Jay’s voice gets quieter, a lot more serious as he closes off.)
Jay Jerry Johnson: But don’t think for a moment that I’m going to let it happen again. It wouldn’t happen twice.
(Corey smirks as he hears what Jay has to say, not taking it personally.)
Corey Hale: I understand that, I understand that completely actually. But that’s not going to stop me from believing. If you want to say that I’d lose to you then by all means, but as I said, if the right opportunity falls to me and I happen to face you for the Interwire Championship, I’m not coming into be your stepping stone or a cop-out of a successful defense. I’m going to do what I did last week and that’s make some noise.
Jay Jerry Johnson: You’re entitled to believe that all you want, but it’s as you said, I’m not the Interwire Champion for no reason. I don’t gear myself up to lose so easily to talent like yourself. While you are a very good competitor who has a very bright future, you still have ways to go and I hope you get that before you end up making a decision that you’ll regret.
(Before Corey can respond though, there’s laughter heard in the background. The camera pans over as Drake Armstrong is seen with a shit-eating grin on his face. He applauds the two of them as he makes his way over.)
Drake Armstrong: Oh, don’t mind me, continue with this little disagreement that you happen to be having. Though it seems like I’m going to be involved with this as well seeing as I’m going to be doing you a favor, Mr. Johnson. You’ll have more time to discuss this amongst yourselves once I knock Corey here out of the tournament. You can consider it a gift from The Future himself that I’m doing this for you, but don’t take it personally, because if Jay got the job done, then I would’ve done the same thing to him too. It’s nothing personal!
Corey Hale: Drake, you talk a big game, but I can see this from a mile away. I can see that you’re underestimating me and devaluing my presence in this match, and it’s not something that I’m going to take lightly. Just like I told Jay, I’m not going to be your stepping stone either. Given the right opportunity, I will beat you, and I could only imagine how that would make you feel after all of this talk. I wish you nothing but the best, but you’re biting off more than you can chew and I’m going to be the one that shows you that in our match.
(Jay chuckles as he eyes over at Drake, slowly nodding his head.)
Jay Jerry Johnson: Alright Drake, since you’re so keen on taking potshots, let’s see what you have to offer. Next week I’ll be out there to watch your match against Corey. Then we’ll see which one will be able to back up their talk.
(Jay shakes his head as he turns around and makes his way out of the scene, Drake scoffing as he turns around and leaves as well. The last shot seen is Corey Hale looking as determined as ever as Friday Night Dynasty transitions to elsewhere.)
Stephie Love: The following is scheduled for one fall!
Crowd: ONE FALL!
Stephie Love: And it is a round one matchup in the King Of Elite tournament! Introducing first, from Boston, Massachusetts, weighing in at 210 pounds, he is “UNKILLABLE” KIIIIRRRKKKK! RRREEEDDDWWOOOOOODDDD!!!
(‘Sinister Purpose’ by Creedence Clearwater Revival is first to play as Kirk Redwood makes his way out from the back with bated breaths. He marches down the ramp, slapping himself in the face to get him going! Kirk yells out, running over to the steps and he makes his way into the ring.)
Stew-O: Last week, Kirk Redwood put up a fantastic performance against Myles in the main event of Dynasty. It wasn’t enough to secure him the victory, but the feeling of knowing you were this close to defeating a multi-time world champion may be the momentum booster Kirk needs for tonight.
Flannery McCoy: I have no idea what Kirk sees the match as, but I do know that he fell short at Road To Redemption and last week’s Dynasty! Opportunities are coming few and far between for the veteran, who is looking to do anything to prove that he can strive for bigger and better things, starting with advancing in the King Of Elite tonight.
( ‘Lacrimosa [EPIC REMIX]’ by Samuel Kim plays next and Vincent Mondrian slowly makes his way out from the back, mean mugging the crowd and Redwood in the ring. Mondrian shakes his head, walking down the ramp at his own pace. He slowly walks up the steps and enters the ring, spinning and throwing his fist over the top rope.)
Stephie Love: His opponent, from Laren, Netherlands, weighing in at 205 pounds, VVIIINNNCCEEENNNTTT! MOONNNDDDRRRIIIIAAAANNNNN!!!!
Jake Mercer: After losing the Interwire Championship to Jay Jerry Johnson at Road To Redemption, hardly anyone has heard a peep about Vincent Mondrian. He wasn’t on last week’s show either, and that has been a lot of time of contemplation for the man who had a very brief period where he felt on top of the world. What matters is your capabilities of bouncing back from such a failure, and we’re going to see what Mondrian is made of tonight.
Flannery McCoy: It’s all about the mental games. Where is Mondrian’s head at?! We know that recently he has reached higher heights than Kirk Redwood, but he needs to not still be shaken up from that loss at Road To Redemption. Advancing in the King Of Elite— while Jay Jerry Johnson did not— could absolutely be huge for Mondrian.
(DING DING DING!)
Stew-O: Here we go! Both Redwood and Mondrian circling around the ring, trying to get one over the other. They snap into a powerful collar & elbow tie-up, and Vincent spins into a waist lock. He takes Kirk up and tries to slam him into the canvas, but Kirk spins out and drops him onto his face! He slides into a side headlock–
Jake Mercer: But Vincent raises his head and hooks him by the waist! He elevates him in the air, slamming him onto his face. Vincent helicopters around, applying a front facelock. He really grinds that front facelock in, giving Kirk very little space to breathe. Vincent smirks, knowing that he’s got the upperhand right now.
Stew-O: Redwood is looking for a way out, though! He digs his elbow underneath the arm of Vincent, and explodes to slide out! He grabs Vincent’s waist and drops him from his fours to a flat position. He rolls him, applying a grounded waistlock! Kirk scoots up, wrapping his legs around Vincent’s waist and now applying a grounded bodyscissors.
Flannery McCoy: A wince from Mondrian, who is not a fan of the unpleasant of having your ribs being squeezed! Vincent struggles, trying to open up some space in the tight grip that Redwood had around his waist. He struggles, reaching for the ropes, but Redwood was continuing to squeeze the air out of him!
Jake Mercer: Mondrian drops to his side, reaching behind… He begins to push upwards, and he falls back, using that momentum to his advantage as Redwood’s shoulders are pressed to the canvas for a pinfall!
ONNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
Stew-O: Kirk releases the pin, kicking Vincent off of him. He rolls to his feet and charges into Vincent, who takes him down with a headlock takeover. Vincent wrenches in the headlock, but Kirk works his way up. He wraps his arms around his waist and brings him to the ropes. He throws him off to the ropes!
Flannery McCoy: Vincent comes off the ropes and he brings Kirk down with a shoulder block! Vincent hits off to the side, but Kirk rolls over and Vincent jumps over him. Both men rise to their feet and Vincent tries for a leapfrog, but Kirk catches the legs and drops him onto his back! Kirk rolls into a jackknife pinfall!
ONNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
TTTTTWWWWWWWWWWW–
Jake Mercer: Mondrian bridges up, slowly trying to spin into a backslide! But Kirk plants his feet into the ground, holding his ground. Both men tussle for control. Vincent drops to his knees, bringing Kirk down, but Kirk rolls through, landing onto his feet. He hooks Vincent by the waist and lifts him up, marching around the ring as he holds him in gutwrench position!
Flannery McCoy: He sends him flying across the ring with a gutwrench suplex! Kirk Redwood is firing up right now! Vincent rolls away, using the ropes to rise up in the turnbuckles. Kirk rises and charges in for a clothesline– but Vincent raises his boots up! Kirk staggers backwards, holding his jaw.
Stew-O: Kirk still tries to take him out, but Vincent ducks under! He lights him up with a knife edge chop! And another chop! Vincent takes Kirk’s wrist for an irish whip, sending him across the ring with all of his might! Only for Kirk to bounce right out of the turnbuckles with a clothesline! Kirk nods his head, calling him up.
Jake Mercer: Redwood hits the ropes, catching a rising Mondrian with a knee to the side of the head! Vincent turns, holding his head. Redwood hooks the waist for a german suplex, but Vincent slaps his hands down and cracks him with a back elbow.
Stew-O: Vincent hits off the ropes, but Kirk pulls onto his singlet straps and yanks him backwards, hooking the waist for a german suplex this time– no! Vincent lands onto his feet! Kirk turns back and this time, he goes down via a perfectly placed step-up enzuigiri from Mondrian! The former Interwire Champion is building steam right now!
Flannery McCoy: He drags Redwood up and grabs him in a front facelock, hoisting him up high in the air. He’s got a brainbuster in sights, but Redwood brings it back down, wrapping his legs around his ankle and pulling him down into an inside cradle!
ONNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
TTTTTWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOO!!!
Jake Mercer: Kick out from Mondrian! Both men rise to their feet! Clothesline at the same time! But they don’t go down, it’s just sweat flying in the air! Redwood and Mondrian hit the ropes off on opposite sides and charge into a massive clothesline! Once again, sweat flies in the air! They turn and hit off a third time! AND DOUBLE CLOTHESLINE! BOTH ARE OUT OF IT THIS TIME!
Stew-O: It’s a fight for control from both Redwood and Mondrian! They have a chance to catch their breath and the referee checks on both, trying to see if either man will start making the signs to get up before he begins his ten count… The last thing we want to see is a King Of Elite match ending by way of draw, folks!
OOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!
TTTTTTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
TTTTTTTTTTTTTHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
FFFFFFFFFFFFOOOOOOOOOOOOOOUUUUUUUUUURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!
FFFFFFFFFIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!
SSSSSSSSSSSSIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX!!
Flannery McCoy: We’re almost at seven– no! Both are using the ropes to start to get up to their feet! They stumble away from the ropes, backing up … into each other! They bump heads and turn, facing each other. Vincent and Kirk start are huffing and puffing, muttering words that the camera can’t pick up!
Stew-O: BIG FOREARM FROM MONDRIAN! AND REDWOOD RETURNS THE FAVOR! Both men trading shots, who’s gonna give out first! Redwood is beginning to get the upperhand, really laying them in! He winds back one more, but Vincent cracks him with a headbutt on the jaw! Kirk falls to his fours, glassy eyed.
Jake Mercer: Vincent nods, hitting off the ropes. But Kirk rises and HE NEARLY TAKES VINCENT’S HEAD OFF WITH A LARIAT! GOODNESS! Kirk grabs Vincent by the hair and pulls him up. He turns him and pulls him closer, hooking one arm up and trapping the other as he tosses him onto the back of his head with a HALF AND HALF SUPLEX!
Flannery McCoy: He almost took Mondrian’s head off with that one! Kirk rises to his feet, and he wants more! He pulls Vincent up by the hair, clubbing the back repeatedly! He turns him around and raises the arms up in a full nelson! Kirk heaves Vincent up, dropping him directly on the back of his head with a DRAGON SUPLEX!
Stew-O: Redwood holds onto Vincent! He rolls him over, grabbing the waist! He slowly hoists him up into a waistlock, and deadlifts him high in the air! Vincent is flailing and swinging at the air, but it has no use as a GERMAN SUPLEX TAKES HIM DOWN! AND REDWOOD BRIDGES IT!
ONNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
TTTTTWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOO!!!
TTTTTTT—-
Jake Mercer: BUT VINCENT GETS HIS SHOULDER UP JUST IN TIME! VERY CLOSE CALL, BUT THIS MATCH LIVES ON! Kirk was really trying hard to end it there, but three suplexes in succession still wasn’t enough to put Mondrian down! Kirk rolls away, contemplating.
Stew-O: Vincent is still down. You can’t expect him to start moving around after all of those suplexes! Kirk reaches for the ropes, taking his sweet time to get up to his feet. He’s really thinking about what he can do next, both men looking for everything possible in their power to secure victory here.
Flannery McCoy: Kirk approaches Vincent and pulls him up. He turns him around, hooking onto the wrist of Vincent and wrapping his other arm around his head, trying for the BASTARDPLEX– but Vincent stalls the lift! He begins to wiggle his arm free, and drops an elbow to the back of Kirk’s head! He drops another elbow to the back of his head!
Stew-O: And then he spins out, Vincent hooks Kirk by the head and lifts him up vertically! FALCON ARROW! HE ROLLS THROUGH, HOISTING KIRK UP AND THROWING HIM OVERHEAD! ‘HELL’S PARADISE!’ THE COMBINATION OF MOVES PUTS KIRK DOWN! AND VINCENT CRAWLS OVER, HOOKING THE LEGS FOR YET ANOTHER PINFALL!
ONNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
TTTTTWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOO!!!
TTTTTTTHHHHHHHHH—-
Flannery McCoy: Kick out from Redwood! But Vincent is creeping closer towards victory! He has to stay at it, though! Vincent reaches for the ropes, and falls to a knee. Kirk is down and out, take your moment while you can! He pulls him up by the hair…
Jake Mercer: AND HE STUNS HIM WITH A PAINTBRUSH SLAP! Vincent isn’t just hellbent on getting the win, rather he wants to send a message to him! And I’m not sure if that’s the right route to be taking! But Vincent throws another slap! Kirk staggers, they’re definitely ringing his ears right now… but he turns back and laughs in his face! Vincent throws another- no! Kirk weaves it, and COMES BACK WITH A SLAP OF HIS OWN!
Stew-O: THAT ONE STAGGERS VINCENT! KIRK TACKLES VINCENT INTO THE CORNER AND STARTS BEATING ON HIM WITH ALL KINDS OF PUNCHES AND ELBOWS! HE’S UNLEASHING ALL HE’S GOT ON HIM! Kirk takes Vincent by the wrist and sends him across the ring with an irish whip! Kirk charges in, meeting Vincent with a HUGE corner yakuza kick! He holds onto Vincent, sending him flying across the ring with an exploder suplex!
Flannery McCoy: Once again, it’s Kirk in control! Vincent has to be aching his back in agony right now! Kirk takes the ropes, using them to get up. Vincent is still trying to show some fire though– forcing himself up! He grits his teeth, doing all that he can to bare the pain-
Jake Mercer: REDWOOD BOUNCES OFF THE TURNBUCKLES! BLITZKRIEG BOP! THE RUNNING KNEE LANDS ON THE BACK OF VINCENT’S HEAD! VINCENT GOES FACE FIRST INTO THE CANVAS AND KIRK ROLLS HIM OVER, HOOKING THE LEGS FOR THE COVER! THIS MAY BE IT!
OOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
TTTTTWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!
TTTTTTTHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
Stew-O: VINCENT BARELY GETS HIS SHOULDER UP IN TIME! THAT WAS A VERY, VERY CLOSE FALL! Kirk thought he had it won as well! He looks up to the referee, trying to confirm it with him! Meanwhile, Vincent is still out cold! Kirk slowly works his way up to his feet, trying to stay on the attack.
Jake Mercer: He steps over Vincent and walks to the ropes, stepping out to the apron. Kirk leans on the ropes, using this as a breather and also preparing at the same time. Vincent slowly works his way up, clutching at the back of his head. That knee definitely got him good, as he looks out– KIRK SPRINGBOARDS UP! HE ALREADY WANTS TO FINISH THIS OFF! ‘.50 CAL!’ THE SPRINGBOARD SUPERMAN PUNCH–
Flannery McCoy: VINCENT CATCHES THE ARM IN MID AIR! HE TRAPS IT, BRINGING HIM DOWN TO HIS STOMACH AS HE APPLIES A FUJIWARA ARMBAR! VINCENT APPLYING TORQUE ON THAT SUBMISSION HOLD, DIGGING HIS ELBOW INTO THE SHOULDER OF REDWOOD! REDWOOD CRIES OUT AS VINCENT CONTINUES TO WORK HIS SHOULDER, WHILST HYPEREXTENDING THE ARM AS A WHOLE!
Stew-O: It is without a doubt a beautifully executed Fujiwara armbar! Kirk reaches for the ropes but they’re not in sight! Vincent continues to wrench on that arm! And now he takes the arm, slowly trying to step over it, he wants a crossface!
Jake Mercer: However Redwood is turning to his side! He’s not allowing that to happen! Vincent is getting greedy and he may have paid for it! He tries the crossface again– but Redwood rolls them over, holding onto Vincent’s leg that was trying to wrap around his arm, and HE TRANSITIONS TO AN ANKLE LOCK! NOW IT’S REDWOOD WHO’S IN CONTROL!
Stew-O: FURIOUS ROARS OF AGONY OUT OF MONDRIAN! He’s reaching for the ropes but he’s not close! Kirk is applying deep pressure on that ankle, giving him nowhere to go! Vincent’s screaming out in agony! What will it take for him to get ahead?! Kirk is continuing to twist and twist, he is in a bad way right now!
Flannery McCoy: Mondrian is struggling! At this rate, Redwood is gonna rip his ankle off! Kirk is struggling to uphold the submission now, his arm has to be hurting after just being locked in that armbar! He is pursuing with all he’s got, but Vincent refuses to tap! He plants his free foot in the mat, slowly hobbling on one leg!
Jake Mercer: AND HE ROLLS FORWARD, SENDING KIRK OUT OVER TO THE APRON! Kirk crashes onto the apron and he lays there for a moment, trying to recuperate. Vincent hobbles up to his feet, limping towards Kirk. He takes the hair and applies a front facelock. He reaches over, trying to suplex him to the outside– but Kirk frees himself and sends Vincent over with a back body drop to the floor! Nasty spill to the ground! Vincent holds his knee, staggering up… Meanwhile, Kirk enters the ring and hits off the ropes at HIGH SPEED!
Stew-O: VINCENT LOOKS UP– ‘STAR SNIPER!!!” THE SUICIDE DIVE EUROPEAN UPPERCUT KNOCKS VINCENT OUT COLD! BUT KIRK GOES CRASHING DOWN WITH HIM! HOW MUCH OF THAT HURT HIS ARM?! HE’S HOLDING AT IT, KNOWING THAT HE CAN CAPITALIZE HERE BUT THE PAIN IS UNBEARABLE!
Crowd: HO-LY SHIT! HO-LY SHIT! HO-LY SHIT!
Flannery McCoy: The fans here in Portland, Oregon are on their feet right now! Kirk rises up to his feet, facing the pain! He drags Vincent up and throws him into the ring! He collapses against the apron, the only thing keeping him up on his feet. Kirk stares at his shoulder and turns, ramming it into the barricade! He does it again! Kirk rises to his feet, letting out a huge roar as he slaps himself multiple times to get his head back in the game!
Jake Mercer: What the hell is wrong with him?! I–I don’t even know if this is working or not! He is psyched up without a doubt, and he slides into the ring! Kirk clutches that bad arm and he is throwing his hand up, feeling the energy from the crowd right now!
Stew-O: Kirk approaches Vincent, and VINCENT TAKES THE HANDS! ‘PORTRAIT OF PAIN!’ HE JUST SNAPPED HIS FINGERS! KIRK STAGGERS, HOLDING AT HIS HANDS! HE GAVE HIM TOO MUCH TIME TO GET HIS HEAD BACK IN THE GAME! AND AS KIRK APPROACHES VINCENT…
Flannery McCoy: Vincent uses ALL of his strength, hooking Kirk over his shoulder and heaving him up high in the air, slamming him right into the canvas with the ‘BIG BANG ATTACK!’ THE SPINEBUSTER CONNECTS! THE BACK OF KIRK’S HEAD SLAMS INTO THE CANVAS HARD! Vincent crawls over, hooking the legs for the cover! Will he advance?!
OOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
TTTTTWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!
TTTTTTTHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
Jake Mercer: NOT YET! KIRK GETS AN ARM UP! I THINK IT’S THE BAD ARM THOUGH, BECAUSE VINCENT JUMPS ON IT AND HOOKS THE ARM, ROLLING INTO A KIMURA! Kirk cries out, trying to get free! Even when he kicks out, Vincent already has a plan B of targeting that bad arm!
Stew-O: Mondrian will do all it takes to get back on track and pick up this win! He pulls back on the arm and Kirk’s eyes nearly bulge out of his head, as he reaches for the ropes! He cups his hand over his head, screaming. Kirk bangs his fist into the mat, reaching out for the ropes! Kirk is really pulling on that kimura though, trying to twist and crank back as far as he absolutely can!
Flannery McCoy: Redwood is beginning to scoot to the side, but he can’t get free! Mondrian continues to pull back on that arm, and Kirk is still using everything in his reserves to move his body, and he GETS A HAND ON THE BOTTOM ROPE! Vincent is continuing to apply pressure to the arm, but the referee moves in, counting him down!
Referee: (off-mic) ONE!
Referee: (off-mic) TWO!
Referee: (off-mic) THREE! COME ON MONDRIAN!
Referee: (off-mic) FOUR!
Stew-O: Vincent releases the hold, slowly rising up to his feet. He and the referee have a heated staredown, but nothing comes of it. Redwood rolls out to the apron, clutching that bad arm. Vincent steps out with him, grabbing a handful of Redwood’s hair. He drags him up and nails him with a NASTY forearm smash.
Jake Mercer: Redwood leans against the ropes, desperately holding on. He can’t even stand right now. Vincent tilts his jaw up and meets him with ANOTHER forearm smash! Redwood staggers, reaching out for him. Vincent takes him by the head and cracks him with a THIRD forearm smash! And this time, Redwood crumbles and falls at Vincent’s feet.
Flannery McCoy: Mondrian chuckles. He’s just got that feeling this is in the bag for him. He drags Kirk up furiously and scoops him upside down over his head. Mondrian points down, nodding. If this connects, this is the end of Redwood in this match, without a doubt! ‘REIRYOKU!’ THE FIRE THUNDER DRIVER ON THE APRON– NO! REDWOOD FIGHTS IT! HE’S WIGGLING HIS LEGS!
Stew-O: I don’t think Vincent expected this! His eyes widen as he and Redwood are fighting over position! AND REDWOOD FALLS BACK, FLIPPING THE POSITION OF THE HOLD! VINCENT IS DOING EVERYTHING IN HIS POWER TO STOP THIS! ‘DOWN TO HELL’ ON THE APRON! HE SPIKES THE TOP OF HIS HEA–
Jake Mercer: THIS TIME IT’S VINCENT WHO SLIPS OFF! He lands in the ring! Vincent takes Kirk by the bad shoulder and runs forward, throwing it into the turnbuckles! Kirk lies against the ropes, trying to get back in the ring but I think his arm is trapped– MEANWHILE VINCENT RUNS ACROSS THE RING WITHOUT HESITATION! HERE HE COMES! ‘GALICK GUN!!!’ THE RUNNING BOOT TO THE SIDE OF THE HEAD, AND KIRK’S HEAD HITS THE POST AS WELL!
Stew-O: MY GOD!!! Vincent pulls Kirk into the ring from the middle rope! He lies him out onto his back and drops down, desperately hooking the legs for the cover! Vincent nods his head profusely!
OOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!
TTTTTWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!
TTTTTTTHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
Flannery McCoy: THIS SOMEHOW ISN’T OVER! KIRK REDWOOD KICKS OUT! KIRK REDWOOD KICKS OUT! THE CROWD IS IN A FRENZY RIGHT NOW, NONE OF THEM EXPECTED THAT! AND LOOK AT THE PRICELESS REACTION ON VINCENT MONDRIAN’S FACE, HE’S ASKING THE REFEREE!
Vincent Mondrian: (off-mic) REF! Are you SURE that wasn’t three…?!?!
Referee: (off-mic) I promise you, Vincent, that was a TWO COUNT!
Jake Mercer: WHAT THE HELL IS KIRK REDWOOD MADE OUT OF TO PULL THAT KICKOFF OUT?! I CAN’T BELIEVE IT MYSELF!
Stew-O: He is called “UNKILLABLE” for a reason, Jake! And we just got a first-hand example of why that is! Kirk will do whatever it takes to leave tonight knowing he’s moving on in the King Of Elite! Vincent reaches over, dragging Kirk up to his feet! He turns him around and hooks the waist, clobbering him in the back of the head! Kirk covers up and falls back into a fetal position, and the fans are booing!
Flannery McCoy: I think they want to see Kirk leave tonight with the victory over anything else! Vincent is stomping the hell out of Kirk, getting right through his head and arms, bouncing his head off the canvas! Vincent’s temper is getting the best of him and he can’t think straight! The referee pulls Vincent away, but Vincent shoves past the referee and mounts Kirk, elbowing the hell out of him! Kirk is just trying to defend himself but it’s barely working!
Jake Mercer: The referee is going to have to call this one out! Vincent is KILLING Kirk Redwood out there! The referee rushes over again, pulling Vincent away again! He wants to actually check on him, Vincent needs to relax! The referee is on his side– NO! HE GOES RIGHT BACK AT IT!
Flannery McCoy: These boos are absolutely louder than they’ve been since this match began! Vincent is just stomping out Kirk, throwing EVERYTHING! The referee once again pulls Vincent, and Vincent tries to wrangle the referee of! He does, but the referee pushes him back.
Referee: (off-mic) CALM THE HELL DOWN, VINCENT! HE’S HURT! IF HE CAN’T CONTINUE, I *WILL* CALL THIS ONE OFF IN YOUR FAVOR! GET BACK IN THE CORNER AND RELAX–
Stew-O: Vincent pushes past the referee again! He yanks Kirk up to his feet and grabs him in a headlock position for the VAN GOGH ASCENDANCY– KIRK SPINS OUT! LARIAT TO THE BACK OF THE HEAD! MY GOD! HE COULD HAVE KNOCKED HIS HEAD OFF! VINCENT IS OUT COLD! KIRK DRAGS HIM UP TO HIS FEET, WASTING NO TIME! HE SCOOPS HIM UPSIDE DOWN, RUNNING FORWARD!
Jake Mercer: DOWN! TO! HEEELLLLLL!!! VINCENT GETS THE TOP OF HIS HEAD ABSOLUTELY SPIKED INTO THE CANVAS! HE IS OUT COLD! KIRK FALLS ONTOP OF HIM, HOOKING THE LEG UPWARDS FOR THE COVER!
OOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
TTTTTWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!
TTTTTTTHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
(DING DING DING!)
Stephie Love: Here is your winner of this match, and ADVANCING in the King Of Elite tournament … KKKIIIRRRRKKKK!!! RREEEDDDDWWOOOOODDDDDDD!!!
(As ‘Sinister Purpose’ begins playing again, Kirk rolls off of Vincent, breathing heavily. The referee checks on both men, and Kirk slowly pulls himself up, holding the bad arm. The fans are on their feet, cheering for Kirk after a valiant effort to pull through and leave the winner. Vincent is slowly coming to, his eyes fixated on the ceiling as he realizes despite all of his efforts… he leaves tonight the loser.)
Stew-O: Redemption for Vincent Mondrian will have to be delayed, as his best attempts to advance in the King Of Elite and redeem his past fate have been crushed, and Kirk Redwood is the one who will be advancing! What a victory for the veteran, having everyone rallying behind him tonight!
Flannery McCoy: I hate to say this, but Vincent Mondrian screwed himself tonight! Despite the referee’s multiple warnings, practically pleading with him to lay off on Redwood, he lost his temper and kept trying to attack him and hurt him some more! He had Redwood dead to rights, but some patience and precision could have changed this match entirely!
Jake Mercer: Kirk Redwood showed a lot of heart, and he showed a lot of brains. He was getting his head kicked in and not only lived through it, but used it to bait Vincent in! What a performance, and what a victory for Redwood as he advances!
(Dynasty transitions to a vignette being played. We would see the New Breed Champion BRAE. Clips and highlights of his surrounded greatness as New Breed Champion would ensue, all the following big moments and things he has managed to accomplish.)
BRAE: Winning this title at Pain For Pride was the crowning moment of my career, thus far. But not the peak of it all. I have taken every moment like it could be my last, culminating in where I stand now — the longest reigning active champion in all of EAW. And when I think about it, man.
(BRAE took a deep breath, as it was just a lot to process, but he nodded his head.)
BRAE: I got here through pure merit and willpower. Putting that lightly, I have in a way, shown myself to be a gatekeeper. I have taken the role of New Breed Champion, in hopes that one day; someone would come along and end that reign. I have taken the deep proclamation, that my reign at the top would meet its stifling end in 2025. I still stand by that proclamation, I still believe that it will happen. But so far, there has been so many challengers step up to the plate. Vincent Mondrian, Chiyo Gedo, Mia Santoro, Clayton Golde, Isaac Crowe, Corey Hale, Effy Mcavoy, and yet. The common denominator between all of them?? All unable to take this title away from me. No one has been able to stop The Lord. And yes, in my position? Some champions may grow restless. Doing the same thing for a consistent period of time gets tiresome. No matter what it is. The same groundhog day situation over and over, but for me? I don’t really feel bad about it. The person that goes on to finally dethrone me as champion, will get a remarkable boost. They have to be right for the case, and they will be. It is going to take a true warrior to take this away from me, and have I see that warrior yet? No. So to beg the question, will it be happening anytime soon..?
(BRAE just shrugged, he did not really have an answer. Even he does not really know.)
BRAE: Never say never, but if I had to go out on a limb and say anything? I have toppled all this people, and sure, some of them have come close. But it has been this consistent pattern of success that just seems to never wanna leave me. So rightfully? I think that fate severly wants me to continue as champion. And, if that’s the case? Who am I to complain? I am being given this opportunity, and I am not selfish. I will forever remain humble in grattitude, all these opportunities graciously rising. And with that stated, I have been given not one, but two opportunities to being Dual Champion. However — I must not deny. I completely squandered the first one, I won’t sit here and pretend that it was anything great. Extreme Elimination Chamber was not my night, and I didn’t do great at all. But to be in this position again, so soon? It feels amazing. A chance at not only redeeming Territorial Invasion, but a chance at reedeeming King Of Elite last year. My head is that; I have a chance. Of course I have a chance. I am always gonna have a statistical chance, but this feels? more like a genuine chance. I feel as if I have a genuine chance at becoming King Of Elite, I feel as if I have a genuine chance at challenging Joso. I feel as if I have a genuine chance at being Dual Champion. I feel as if I have a genuine chance at history. I needed to lose the first time, to make preparation for the second time, point blank. I have a level head now. I know that not everything is gonna spontaneously fall in my favor. But I have knowledge from last year, I have knowledge from last month, and I have knowledge now. I have paid close attention, I have studied what I did wrong, in order to get better. Now, one good thing is. Prior hand, I was in a match filled with the best EAW had to offer, top to bottom. This time around though, it’s different. I can go match by match and systematically break down all of my opponents. Not that I have any issues with taking challenges head on, but this is simply the format I am most comfortable with. I don’t see how I can’t be the one who reaches the final. I can get to the finals of this tournament and if it comes down to it?
(BRAE took a deep breath, as he thought for a moment.)
BRAE: I have no problem pulling double duty either. I will be at King Of Elite and my New Breed Championship will be defended. I will be a workhorse, and I promise that this will be a huge year for me. I will continue to dominate, you all must get ready. There are no preparations or much to top this off, as the longest reigning champion currently in EAW, there is a following suit initiative for me. A strive for greatness, and an idea of what it is to be the best. As we tread towards King Of Elite, this is not proclamation, this is a chance for me. I have a chance to become a Dual Champion. I just have to teeter over my step and be careful in absence. I am going to be tested, but that is every single day of my life. But narrowing off track, it should already be noted. 2025 will be my year. You may already think that I am about done, I have cracked my ceiling as New Breed Champion, and I am going to stay where I am at. Truth is however? This is only just the beginning. I have just begun to get started.
(And with that memo, the scene would fade out, and cut to black, with Dynasty fading elsewhere.)
(Friday Night Dynasty returns as Stephie Love is seen standing by.)
Stephie Love: The following is a QUARTERFINAL matchup in the EMPRESS OF ELITE TOURNAMENT!!! Scheduled for…
Crowd: ONE FALL!!!
(‘Vortex’ by Jinjer begins to blast through the speakers of the arena as the camera goes over to show a serious looking Daniella Atlas as she begins to make her way out from the backstage area. She has a determined expression on her face as she poses before then beginning to make her way down the ramp and toward the ring.)
Stephie Love: Introducing first… from Dunkirk, France… weighing in at 170 pounds… she is ‘THE BLACK FLAME’… DANIELLA ATLAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(‘Just Stop’ by Disturbed then begins to play up as the camera goes to show one-half of the Unified Tag Team Champions Pandora Paisley is seen making her way out. She scans around for a moment with a devilish smirk on her face before posing as she then begins to make her way toward the ring, having her eyes completely focused on her opponent.)
Stephie Love: And her opponent, representing The British Invasion… from Blackpool, England… weighing 9 stones… she is one-half of the EAW UNIFIED TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS!!!!!!!!!! ‘THE HELLCAT’… PANDORA PAISLEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(DING! DING! DING!)
Stew-O: The bell has rung and here we go! This Empress of Elite Quarterfinals matchup is officially underway. From the Dynasty side we have former Specialists Champion Daniella Atlas ready to go, meanwhile up against one-half of Voltage’s Unified Tag Team Champions Pandora Paisley. And I’m sure after Halsey Neel got bounced out of the tournament by Selina Reyes, Pandora is extra-focused on making sure that this is brought home to The British Invasion.
Flannery McCoy: We’re just going to have to see how far that takes her as both of them make their way toward the center of the ring, quickly engaging in a collar-and-elbow tie-up! They begin to jockey for position, BUT ALMOST IMMEDIATELY DANIELLA SHOVES PANDORA AWAY AND SENDS HER ROLLING BACKWARD! A feat of strength by The Black Flame leaves Pandora reeling, and it certainly puts an unhappy expression on her face as she begins to slowly make her way back up to her feet.
Jake Mercer: It seems like they’re about to lock up again- BUT PANDORA STEPS IN AND NAILS DANIELLA WITH A BOOT TO THE ABDOMEN! This doubles her over but Pandora keeps the attack going as she connects with a shot to her back that sends her down to a knee, and now Pandora grabbed her by the hair and sent her down to the ground, following that up with a big barrage of stomps all around her! Pandora is eagerly looking to get the upper hand early and it’s clear she’s opted away from playing fair with her opponent!
Stew-O: She grabs a hold of Daniella by the head and begins to drag her up to her feet, sending her into the corner as she’s backed against the turnbuckles. And now The Hellcat is on the hunt as she quickly grabs Daniella by the head and begins to slam repeated punches against her face! Daniella is doing what she possibly can right now to bring up her forearms and try her best to fend it off, but Pandora has taken her off guard and now looks to reap the benefits of her strategy! She transitions to stomps and begins to slouch her further into the corner, with Daniella falling into a seated position, and Pandora has her eyes set!
Flannery McCoy: She begins to step back toward the opposite side of the ring and gets a running start… BEFORE GOING FOR A RUNNING FACE WASH TO THE FACE OF DANIELLA- But that doesn’t happen! Daniella manages to grab a hold of the bottom rope and pull herself out of the way just in time as Pandora collides chest first with the turnbuckle! She staggers backward while Daniella begins to rise to her feet, heading toward the center of the ring, AND REELING HERSELF BACK AS SHE NAILS PANDORA RIGHT AGAINST THE FACE WITH A VICIOUS HEADBUTT!
Jake Mercer: The move connects hard and Pandora is quick to roll away in an attempt to create distance between the two of them. She lays on the apron before then beginning to make her way up, and Daniella seems like she wants to return the favor right now. Daniella makes her way over and grabs a hold of Pandora by the hair, BUT BEFORE SHE CAN DO ANYTHING IT’S PANDORA WHO MANAGES TO CONNECT WITH A SHOULDER THRUST STRAIGHT TO THE ABDOMEN WHICH FORCES HER BACK!
Stew-O: Pandora now quickly turns and begins to scale up the top rope, and she knows that she’s going to have to do something now if she wants to completely shift the tides. Daniella turns herself around, ONLY TO BE MET BY PANDORA WHO PUSHES HERSELF OFF OF THE TOP ROPE AND GOES FOR A CROSSBODY-
Flannery McCoy: BUT SHE’S CAUGHT! DANIELLA ROLLS BACKWARD AND MANAGES TO GET UP TO HER FEET WITH PANDORA IN HER HANDS! THE BLACK FLAME IMMEDIATELY LAUNCHES HER ACROSS THE RING WITH A FALLAWAY SLAM THAT SENDS HER TUMBLING DOWN TO THE GROUND! Pandora knows she’s in trouble and quickly rolls herself out to the ringside area, trying to gain a moment here as she knows that if she lets Daniella continue any further it might just cost her this match!
Jake Mercer: But Daniella isn’t going to just wait for her to catch her breath, she immediately rolls out of the ring and begins to circle like a shark. She knows what she needs to do and she doesn’t waste any time grabbing a hold of Pandora and beginning to raise her back up to her feet. She drags her forward, but before she can do anything, it’s Pandora who manages to connect with a hard elbow to the body to force her to stop in her tracks! Pandora is trying her best to catch her breath as she quickly wraps her arms around Daniella, BEFORE RUNNING HER FORWARD AND DRIVING HER SPINE FIRST INTO THE APRON!
Stew-O: Daniella cries with pain and it looks like Pandora is going to make sure that she reasserts her dominance here. She goes under and takes the former Specialists Champion by the legs before lifting her onto the apron. Daniella is trying her best to fight back as she sends punches to her abdomen, doing whatever possible to create distance between the two of them, but Pandora seems adamant on making sure that she gets the upper hand, as she grabs a hold of the head of Daniella and drives a knee straight into her abdomen!
Flannery McCoy: Pandora has a crazed look in her eyes as she pulls her into a front facelock, looking to set her up, AS SHE DROPS HER DOWN ONTO THE APRON WITH A DDT- NO! Daniella manages to connect with even more strikes to the abdomen to stop her in her tracks! Pandora is trying her best to stay on top, BUT DANIELLA RUNS HER FORWARD AND SENDS HER BACK STRAIGHT INTO THE RING POST! Pandora cries with pain as she barely manages to keep herself up, AND NOW DANIELLA IS TRYING HER BEST TO HEAVE HER OVER AND GO FOR A BACK BODY DROP TO SEND HER DOWN ONTO THE APRON!
Jake Mercer: BUT PANDORA MANAGES TO FLIP OVER THE ROPES AND LAND BACK INSIDE OF THE RING! Daniella manages to recover as she turns around on the apron and sends a strike to her face- But Pandora manages to move out of the way of that as she goes under, going through the ropes and connecting with yet another shoulder thrust to the abdomen! Daniella grabs a hold of the top rope and barely manages to hold on, but Pandora has a hold of her and brings her through the middle rope… SWINGING HER AROUND AND DROPPING HER DOWN WITH A SEATED NECKBREAKER ON THE ROPES!
Stew-O: Daniella is down on the ground grabbing the back of her head and almost immediately Pandora is in motion. She rolls under the bottom rope and gets up to her feet as she scales up to the top rope a second time, looking to strike big this time around and make the risk worth it! Daniella hasn’t moved an inch just yet and it seems like it’s about time for the Unified Tag Team Champion to take advantage of this…
Flannery McCoy: AS SHE JUMPS OFF AND GOES FOR ‘THE PRICE TAG’! THE DIVING ELBOW DROP STRAIGHT TO THE HEART OF DANIELLA ATLAS TO COMPLETELY FLOOR HER!
Jake Mercer: BUT JUST IN TIME DANIELLA MANAGES TO ROLL OUT OF THE WAY OF THAT! SHE GETS BACK UP TO HER FEET AS PANDORA DOES THE SAME! She clutches her arm in pain and tries to recover as she takes a swing- BUT DANIELLA GOES UNDER AS SHE GRABS A HOLD OF HER AROUND THE WAIST AND GOES FOR A SPINEBUSTER-
Stew-O: BUT JUST IN TIME PANDORA MANAGES TO DROP DOWN AND NAIL A ELBOW AGAINST DANIELLA TO FORCE HER GRIP AWAY! PANDORA TAKES A STEP BACK AS DANIELLA IS STUNNED…
Flannery McCoy: AS SHE MANAGES TO LEAP INTO THE AIR AND CONNECT WITH THE ‘LOVE TAP’ RIGHT AGAINST THE FACE OF DANIELLA! THE JUMPING KNEE BY THE UNIFIED TAG TEAM CHAMPION TAKES HER DOWN TO THE GROUND AND DANIELLA IS QUICK TO ROLL HER OVER AND HOOK THE LEG! QUICKLY GOING FOR THE PIN RIGHT HERE! IS SHE GOING TO STEAL THIS RIGHT FROM UNDER HER NOSE?!
OOONNNEEE!!!
TTTTWWWWOOOO!!!!
TTTTTTHHHHHHHRRRRRRRR-
Jake Mercer: BUT DANIELLA MANAGES TO KICK OUT OF THAT! Pandora was close but The Black Flame is beginning to dig deep and force herself out of this situation. Daniella is quick to roll the edge of the ring as she snatches hold of the ropes, clearly stunned by the situation that is present right now as she leans against the ropes, but Pandora has her eyes on her. She begins to rush forward, AS SHE NAILS HER WITH A HARD FOREARM STRIKE AGAINST THE FACE TO LEAVE HER REELING!
Stew-O: Daniella is hurt and she’s trying her best to fight back here, but Pandora already has her by the wrist as she sends her toward the opposite side of the ring with an Irish whip, GOING FOR A STRIKE TO THE FACE- BUT DANIELLA MANAGES TO DUCK UNDER THAT JUST IN TIME! She then quickly runs to the ropes and back, gaining momentum, AS SHE NAILS PANDORA RIGHT ACROSS THE FACE WITH A RUNNING BIG BOOT!
Flannery McCoy: Pandora staggers back and falls against the corner as she tries her best to recover here, but Daniella has a head full of steam right now as she rushes over, CONNECTING WITH A SHOULDER THRUST STRAIGHT TO THE ABDOMEN TO LEAVE HER REELING! Daniella now grabs her by the arm and sends her toward the opposite corner before then beginning to rush toward her again, BUT BEFORE SHE CAN DO THAT, PANDORA MANAGES TO BRING HER LEG UP AND CONNECT WITH A BOOT TO HER FACE TO SEND HER STAGGERING BACK!
Jake Mercer: Daniella is sent backward toward the center of the ring and this is giving Pandora the opportunity that she needs to begin to make the climb back up to the top rope. She looks to launch off again, BUT BEFORE SHE DOES IT’S DANIELLA WHO MANAGES TO NAIL HER WITH A STRIKE TO THE FACE WHICH LEAVES HER STUNNED! Pandora falls to a seated position on the top rope and now it’s the former Specialists Champion who begins to take advantage of this by making her way up herself!
Stew-O: Both of them are trading punches but Daniella is beginning to gain the upper hand, with Pandora being weakened by the previous attack and being stunned. Daniella has a hold of her by the head and begins to heave her up, AS SHE GOES FOR A SUPERPLEX ATTEMPT- But that doesn’t fall as Pandora is beginning to fight! She’s sending strikes to the side of Daniella and refusing to let up for the moment! She’s trying her best to gain her ground back but I think the strength of Daniella is proving to be too much right now as Daniella once again begins to heave her up! BEFORE SLAMMING HER DOWN WITH AN AVALANCHE FALCON ARROW! DANIELLA TWISTS AROUND AND DRIVES HER DOWN TO THE MAT AND THIS GIVES HER THE PERFECT OPPORTUNITY TO PUT PANDORA PAISLEY DOWN RIGHT HERE!
Flannery McCoy: Daniella is screaming at Pandora to make her way back up to her feet so she can put her down again! You can see by the look on Pandora’s face that this is not going to bode well for her if she allows this, and she’s not going to have a lot of time to think of how to get out of what is a tough situation right now! She pushes herself back up as she turns around…
Jake Mercer: ONLY TO BE MET BY ‘THE MEMORY ROOM’! THE SWINGING REVERSE STO PLANTS PANDORA DOWN TO THE GROUND AND DANIELLA HAS HER WAY WITH HER! SHE QUICKLY ROLLS HER ONTO HER BACK AND HOOKS THE LEG! SHE’S GOING FOR THE PIN RIGHT HERE! WILL SHE MANAGE TO GET IT OFF IN TIME?!
OOONNNEEE!!!
TTTTWWWWOOOO!!!!
TTTTTHHHHHRRRRRRRREEEEEEE-
Stew-O: BUT PANDORA MANAGES TO SHOOT THE SHOULDER UP JUST IN TIME! Pandora manages to get herself out of this situation and escape but you can see by the smirk on the face of Daniella Atlas here shows that she’s beginning to close in on her prey. She’s beginning to make her way back up to her feet as she has a hold of Pandora as well and begins to drag her up as well. It looks like she’s beginning to close this out here!
Flannery McCoy: SHE’S RUNNING TO THE ROPES AND BACK AS SHE SPINS AROUND FOR ‘BLACK DEATH’! DISCUS ELBOW TO THE BACK OF THE HEAD!
Jake Mercer: BUT PANDORA SEES IT AND MANAGES TO DUCK UNDER IT! SHE GRABS A HOLD OF THE HEAD AND GOES FOR A BULLDOG- BUT DANIELLA MANAGES TO CATCH HER AND SHOVE HER AWAY! PANDORA STAGGERS FORWARD BUT QUICKLY SPINS AROUND AS SHE GOES FOR AN ENZUGIRI- BUT DANIELLA MANAGES TO DUCK UNDER IT JUST IN THE NICK OF TIME AND MANAGES TO RECOVER AS SHE STEPS BACK!
Stew-O: Daniella grabs a hold of her and brings her up to her feet, AS SHE GOES FOR ‘SOUTH OF HEAVEN’! THE PUMPHANDLE DROP-
Flannery McCoy: BUT PANDORA MANAGES TWIST HERSELF AROUND AND DROPS HER DOWN TO THE GROUND WITH A DDT! DANIELLA IS STUNNED AS SHE QUICKLY TRIES TO GET BACK UP TO HER FEET!
Jake Mercer: ONLY TO BE MET BY ‘THE CAT’S PAW’! THE SUPERKICK DROPS DANIELLA DOWN TO THE GROUND AND NOW PANDORA IS LOOKING TO PUT AN END TO THIS MATCH! SHE FALLS AGAINST THE CORNER AND SHE LOOKS EAGER TO END THIS!
(Suddenly, the crowd begins to cheer.)
Stew-O: WHAT THE HELL?! LOOK WHO JUST JUMPED OVER THE BARRICADE!
Flannery McCoy: IT’S CANDICE BLAIR AND SELINA REYES! LAST WEEK THEY FORMED AN ALLIANCE AND STAKED THEIR CLAIM TOWARD THE TAG TITLES AND NOW THEY’RE DISTRACTING PANDORA! PANDORA IS SHOUTING AT THEM TO GET OUT OF HERE AND THE REFEREE IS DOING WHAT HE CAN TO GET THEM OUT! CANDICE IS DIRECTING THEM AWAY AND LOOK AT WHAT’S HAPPENING!
Jake Mercer: SELINA IS TRYING TO CLIMB ONTO THE APRON AND GRAB A HOLD OF PANDORA-
Stew-O: BUT LOOK WHO IT IS! HALSEY NEEL IS HERE! THE OTHER HALF OF THE TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS GRAB A HOLD OF THE ANKLE AND YANK HER OFF OF THE APRON! HALSEY GRABS A HOLD OF SELINA AND BEGINS TO SLAM PUNCHES AGAINST HER FACE WHILE CANDICE IS TRYING TO ROUND THE CORNER! OFFICIALS ARE TRYING TO BREAK THIS APART AND PANDORA CAN’T BELIEVE WHAT’S HAPPENING!
Flannery McCoy: BUT LOOK AT WHAT JUST HAPPENED! DANIELLA FROM BEHIND GRABBED A HOLD OF HER AND DROPPED HER DOWN TO THE GROUND WITH THE PUMPHANDLE DROP! THE ‘SOUTH OF HEAVEN’ CONNECTS AND DANIELLA IMMEDIATELY TRANSITIONS INTO THE PIN! THE REFEREE REALIZES WHAT’S HAPPENING AND SLIDES DOWN FOR THE COUNT!
OOONNNEEE!!!
TTTTWWWWOOOO!!!!
TTTTTHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!
(DING! DING! DING!)
(‘Vortex’ begins to blast through the speakers of the arena as Daniella Atlas slowly rises up to her feet. She has a smirk on her face as she makes her way up to her feet, with her hand raised in the air. The officials are trying to split Halsey, Candice, and Selina apart at ringside, while Daniella doesn’t pay mind to it as she celebrates her victory.)
Stephie Love: Here is your winner… DANIELLA ATLAS!!!!!!!!!!
Jake Mercer: Well while it certainly wasn’t the way that she wanted it to go, Daniella managed to come out with the win!
Stew-O: It was definitely a surprise to see Candice and Selina make their way over to Voltage and get themselves involved in this match, but if they wanted to get British Invasion’s attention and stake their claim toward the Tag Titles, then they certainly did that.
Flannery McCoy: Regardless, Daniella Atlas moves on and she gets herself one step closer to the finals of the Empress of Elite. We’re going to find out soon who’s going to be joining her across the ring. Congratulations to Daniella!
(Daniella makes her way out of the ring with a smirk as she heads up the ramp. Pandora is seen slowly recovering as she’s trying to realize what just happened, meanwhile officials are escorting Selina, Candice, and Halsey out through the crowd. The last shot seen is Daniella raising her hand in the air as Friday Night Dynasty fades out.)
(Backstage, Kensingten Calhoun-Astor and Richard Grant are together in their office, sipping on their respective cups of tea. They giggle in the midst of their conversation. The camera is able to pick up their voices as they carry on.)
Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: I got to say, the King of Elite and Empress of Elite tournaments are a success. Everyone’s pumped to be seeing who will be advancing to the finals. I think we’ve got some strong contenders for those on our side. A couple of surprises, but hey, no harm in ‘em.
Richard Grant: None at all. I just hope that the fella and lady that make it to the finals on our behalf are able to win it all. Daniella Atlas has been killing it in spite of that surprise loss of the Specialsits Championship. She’s hungry as ever. Definitely a killer. I just wished she didn’t have so many tacky tattoos! She would be a far more presentable young thing if she cleaned up her image a little bit.
Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: I know right? But apparently she fits into that whole demographic that’s into the weird, edgy “muscle mommy” aesthetic that’s popular right now? Ugh. This generation is so weird.
Richard Grant: Tell me about it… and while I don’t really care for Saori or whatever her name is, at least she advanced to this point and has been consistent. Maybe it wouldn’t hurt for her to make it to the end for us, but…
Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: But?
Richard Grant: I just don’t want her to *bomb* this. :troll:
Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: Oh my Gawd—
(Richard and Kensingten burst out laughing. However, the audience watching all of this on the titanton boo like hell for the distasteful, shady joke.)
Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: You are so naughty! Ahem. But yes, everything is going well. To tell you the truth, I’m surprised Kirk won tonight, but maybe being in this tournament will spur him to keep going and actually haul some of that pasty ass to the finish line. BRAE won, so that’s great. So long as he’s focused, he’s got a good shot of being a double champion.
Richard Grant: And then there’s Drake Armstrong…
Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: …

Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: Screw that complete and utter tool.
Richard Grant: Seriously. Between him and that damn hippie yank Corey, I don’t know who’s worse!
Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: Hm.
(That’s when a cruel smirk surfaces on her face.)
Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: But hey—as long as one of them can get that title off of Joso, I won’t complain. Then again, there’s no guarantee he’ll make it after King of Elite.
Richard Grant: I would hope not. How someone like *him* was even able to become King of Elite in the first place still astonishes me. The future of Dynasty would be better suited towards someone who genuinely espouses all of the ideals of an Elitist and not some gutter-trash punk who lucked himself into a prosperous career. This is like The Pizza Boy all over again!
Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: 🤢 I completely forgot about him existing.
Richard Grant: For the better, my dear.
(Both shake their heads, chuckling.)
Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: There are still a few rotten apples we have on the roster, but we can make things work. Of course, the most ideal scenario would be for either Impact or Hans to win at King of Elite. Now those two are a spitting image of what we want on Dynasty. I will say that I am not *too* pleased with how hot-headed Hans has become, but it makes for great drama, greater views, and an even greater emphasis on our show, so I guess I can’t complain too much about it.
Richard Grant: Ah, the gutsy youngblood who has proven he isn’t a fluke against a decorated legend. It’s a tale as old as time. It’s never going to get tired, just like Dynasty.
Kensingten Calhoun-Astor: Ha! Amen to that!
(The couple clink their mugs and smile before continuing to drink. The fans boo as the camera shot lingers on them before it fades off back to ringside, where Stephie Love is ready to call the next match of the evening.)
(‘Notorious’ by UPSAHL begins to blast through the speakers as Mia Santoro comes out with a swagger to her step. She soaks in the spotlight as the crowd gives her a mixed reception. She does her pose before making her way down the ramp, heading towards the ring.)
Stephie Love: THE FOLLOWING MATCH IS SCHEDULED FOR ONE FALL!!!!!
Crowd: ONE FALL!!!!!
Stephie Love: INTRODUCING FIRST…FROM KEY WEST, FLORIDA…SHE IS ‘LA DESPERADA’…MIA SANTORO!!!!!!
Stew-O: Last week, Mia Santoro competed on the Showdown brand, facing former Specialists Champion, KASAI in the first round of the 2025 Empress of Elite tournament. Unfortunately, it will be Showdown’s KASAI who moves onto the next stage of the tournament. Now, Mia’s path seems to be a bit unclear at the moment.
Flannery McCoy: The Empress of Elite provides room for a career to skyrocket to the next level. Still, Mia Santoro looks to prove that she didn’t need to win the tournament. That she’s a star no matter what. She, like a lot of the talent here, looks to make 2025 their’s. But, this could be a breakout year for Mia!
Jake Mercer: She’s fiery. She’s got a lot of passion. She had a great match with Daniella Atlas back in November on Super Dynasty! A wonderful performance, so when it comes to locking it in, she can do that! But, she needs to bring out a bit more, if she wants that first championship in EAW!
(‘Judas’ by Lady Gaga replaces ‘Notorious’ as Holly Arrow comes out. Holly comes out, soaking in the reception of the crowd. We see that Holly is a little down from falling short in advancing to the next stage of the Empress of Elite tournament, but she looks to shift her focus to this match.)
Stephie Love: AND…INTRODUCING HER OPPONENT…FROM LIVERPOOL, ENGLAND…SHE IS ‘THE FINAL GIRL’…HOLLY ARROW!!!!
Stew-O: Last week, Holly Arrow competed in the first stage of the Empress of Elite tournament against the winner of the Extreme Engima Memorial Battle Royale, Brianna Hill! But, it was a robbery. A straight out robbery as Holly would have LOVED to redeem herself from making it to the finals in the last Empress of Elite finals.
Flannery McCoy: Brianna Hill needed to place her feet on the ropes to give her that extra leverage to keep Holly Arrow down! I don’t blame Holly for being upset! Brianna cost her an opportunity to redeem that loss to Serenity Valdez!
Jake Mercer: When it comes to these tournaments, it makes these women greedy! They want to be the one to break that curse and make the Empress of Elite title mean something! They know what it can do for their careers! I don’t blame what Brianna did, but Holly shouldn’t let that go!
(DING! DING! DING!)
Stew-O: AND…WE’RE UNDERWAY! Holly Arrow and Mia Santoro find themselves in a fighting stance as they look for the right opportunity to lock up! And…they do! Holly is the stronger out of the two of them and manages to push Mia back to the horizontal set of ropes! The referee is looking to begin her count here!
Referee: (off-mic) ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR! FIVE!
Flannery McCoy: Holly Arrow begins to back away! Her hands are up where the referee is able to see them! Mia Santoro straightens herself up as both women go right at each other, locking up once more! This time, Mia puts up a bit of a fight! The two women fighting for dominance, rolling across from the horizontal ropes! Once again, we see Holly pinning Mia to the turnbuckle at the corner! Holly, with a smirk on her face, begins to back away from Mia! But, Mia slaps Holly across the face! We’re seeing Mia all fired up as —
Jake Mercer: Mia Santoro punches Holly Arrow in the back of her head! This knocks Holly to her knees as Mia slams Holly face-first against the mat! Mia slams the face of the former Unified Tag Team Champion! Over and over again, Mia is ruthless as she finds herself backing away at the first sign of the referee yelling at her! Holly is trying to find herself on the ropes! Mia runs right towards Holly a clothesline, but Holly ducks the clothesline! She swoops right behind Mia and grabs her by the waist! She lifts up Holly, looking for a German! But, Mia manages to elbow Holly in the face!
Stew-O: Mia Santoro turns herself around as she throws a punch to Holly Arrow’s face! Holly returns the favor by punching Mia in the face! Mia with a punch to Holly! Holly with a punch to Mia! Mia launches herself back at Holly! She looks for a flying forearm, bUT HOLLY MANAGES TO CATCH HER AND HOIST HER UP ON ONE SHOULDER! WE’RE SEEING A BIT OF THE STRENGTH OF HOLLY BEING DISPLAYED AT THE MOMENT! HOLLY PLACES MIA ON HER SHOULDERS BEFORE CONNECTING WITH A FIREMAN’S CARRY DROP BEFORE SPRING BOARDING OFF THE SECOND TURNBUCKLE AND CONNECTING WITH A MOONSAULT! Holly lands right on the stomach of Holly as she goes for the first pin fall attempt of the match!
OOOOOOONNNNNNNEEEEEEEE!!!!!!
TTTTWWWWWW—
Flannery McCoy: Mia Santoro with a kick out! Holly Arrow picks her up, getting her into position and connecting snap suplex! Mia finds herself in a seated position as Holly begins to apply a chin lock on Mia! But, Mia quickly slides out of the position before Holly could get a good clutch on that chin lock! She finds herself to her feet as she gets Holly and whips her to the horizontal set of ropes! Holly manages to rebound herself off of them as Mia leap frogs herself up as Holly rebounds herself the set of ropes across from her! MIA HOOKS HOLLY BY THE ARM AND CONNECTS WITH A HIP TOSS! BUT, MIA LANDS RIGHT ON HER FEET AS SHE COUNTERS WITH AN ARM DRAG AS THAT SENDS HOLLY ACROSS THE RING!
Jake Mercer: But, Holly Arrow manages to slide herself on her feet! Mia goes right after Holly, nailing her with a dropkick as Holly collapses back against the turnbuckle! (Mia Santoro gets thrown to Jake Mercer. This causes Jake to fall back. The collision takes his headset off. Stew-O and Flannery McCoy look a bit concerned as Jake tries to get himself to his feet. The medical personnel are checking on Jake and Mia Santoro.)
Stew-O: While Jake gets evaluated, Holly Arrow goes over to get Mia Santoro out of the area! You can see that Holly Arrow may not be a happy camper tonight! Stew-O: Yes, totally used to that. :mjpls:
Flannery McCoy: Mia Santoro waits for Holly Arrow to get herself up! NOW, WE SEE HOLLY PICK UP MIA BY THE SAME ARM! SHE LIFTS MIA UP IN THE AIR AS MIA LANDS ON A NASTY KNEE! THAT POP UP KNEE STRIKE THAT HOLLY USED TO GET UNDERNEATH MINERVA’S SKIN LAST SEASON! TTTTTWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!
TTTTTTHHHHHHRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!
(DING! DING! DING!)
(‘Judas’ plays once more as Holly Arrow rolls off Mia Santoro. She finds herself in a seated position and cranks her neck from right to left as the referee helps her up to her feet. She raises Holly’s arm, declaring her as the winner of the match.)
Stephie Love: THE WINNER OF THIS MATCH…HOLLY ARROW!!!!!!
Flannery McCoy: Holly Arrow bounces back from last week’s loss! Yes, this loss may not be to continue on in the Empress of Elite tournament, but this is a well-needed victory to regain some momentum!
Jake Mercer: I was shook by Mia Santoro’s performance in the match! She totally had the first 1/3 of the match in her favor! But, it was one error that she decided to make, which cost her in that match! It was Holly Arrow’s ability to counter that blockbuster to ‘Psionic Crossbow’ that helped her get the victory!
(Mia Santoro is outside of the ring. Her back is resting against the barricade. She is clutching the back of her neck, feeling very disappointed in herself. Meanwhile, the last shot is of Holly Arrow celebrating in the ring, soaking in this victory.)

(Friday Night Dynasty returns to show a pan-around shot of the Moda Center, with the crowd here tonight in Portland bustling in anticipation for what’s to come. It’s not long before ‘Ghost Myself’ by DIAMANTE begins to blast through the speakers of the arena, which garners a loud, positive reaction in response. The camera then goes over to the stage as one-half of Fire & Ice, Raven Roberts, is seen making her way out from the backstage area. She has a serious expression on her face as she takes a moment to scan around at the excited fans in attendance, a small smile beginning to grow on her face before she then begins to make her way down the ramp and toward the ring.)
Stephie Love: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome… ‘THE BIRD OF PREY’… RAVEN ROBERTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Stew-O: Well here comes Raven Roberts and I’m sure she’s not particularly too happy with how last week went down judging by the expression on her face. Richard Grant and Kensingten Calhoun-Astor gave Fire & Ice their “reward” for winning the Tag Team Showcase match at Road To Redemption and it was a World Championship shot for only *one* of them. Of course, neither of them was keen on accepting this, Richard and Kensingten brought it down to a coin flip, and luck of the draw had it ending up being Raven who would get the shot.
Flannery McCoy: Both Rex and Raven have made it known that if they’re going to get an opportunity, it’s together, and this isn’t the first time that we’ve seen the General Managers go out of their way to sabotage that mission statement. We saw the two qualifying matches that they were set up in leading to Road To Redemption and the Extreme Elimination Chamber, but regardless they shook it off and kept it pushing regardless. Even though this is less than favorable for them, Rex has promised that he’s going to help Raven add another World Championship to her name, and even though there seems to be a little conflict in her mind, she’s making her way out to the ring to seemingly assert that claim.
Jake Mercer: Hey, do you want to know my opinion? I think if she wins the title she and Rex can split it and they can both be Champions! Ey?! Ey?!
Flannery McCoy: :francis:
(Raven makes her way up the steps and onto the apron as she enters through the ropes. She then heads over and takes a microphone from the ringside area before heading toward the center of the ring. ‘Ghost Myself’ then begins to come to a close from there as she takes a moment to compose her thoughts before beginning to speak.)
Raven Roberts: Back when I returned to this company what feels like a lifetime ago, I had lined up a list of goals for what I wanted to accomplish. It seemed for the longest time that people forgot the type of weight the name Raven Roberts held in EAW. While it may come off as an egotistical gesture, I truly do believe that there was a time when I was amongst the best of the best, at the very top of the mountain, and I was willing to do everything that I possibly could to not just remind people of that, not just reassert that, but get myself back into the position that I was once in. Sooner or later you learn that sometimes that changes, your vision doesn’t align with your present and it causes you to shift gears. When Rex and I both agreed to kickstart Fire & Ice again, all of a sudden it wasn’t about us in a respective manner anymore, it was about us as a unit. It was to pick up where we left off and fill in the legacy that we felt was incomplete. In our minds, we have already done a lot to build our legacies here, and the names of Rex McAllister and Raven Roberts won’t be forgotten anytime soon, but Fire & Ice, especially without a Unified Tag Team Championship to our name, was only a hypothetical.
Raven Roberts: It was a what if, something that was unfulfilled, and we looked to make things right. Last year we were so close to getting what we wanted, both of us believed that we could beat The Jaded Hearts for those titles, but in the end, it just wasn’t our day. But that didn’t stop us, no, that never stops us. We not only kept our foot on the gas pedal, we accelerated, and that led to a blockbuster win at Road To Redemption. We beat two of some of the best teams that Showdown and Voltage had to offer and we made a demanding statement. Now you know at the end of the year when you end it on a high you walk into 2025 with higher hopes about what to expect, and I certainly expect down the line for Fire & Ice to once again stake our claim at the Tag Titles which are being held by a different team this time around. But what’s stopping us from doing that earlier is the fact that we’ve had a wrench thrown into our tag team ambitions for the time being and that came from Richard and Kensingten giving us this “prize” that has seemingly done more harm than good in my eyes.
(Raven pauses for a moment, taking her time to let her words simmer in before beginning to continue from there.)
Raven Roberts: This World Championship opportunity that only one of us was supposed to have, and it’s clear that both of us were adamant on putting that aside and just keeping on the same path, but we weren’t given much of a choice. Do I still feel like it’s wrong for our trajectory to be decided off of some petty coin toss based on sheer luck? Yes, I do. But Rex has been insistent on me taking this opportunity, and he’s been insistent on helping me, and all of a sudden those thoughts of what I want my name to represent begin to creep back in. That continuous, lingering memory of trying to remind people of what I have to offer begins to show itself once more. And now that I’m certain that there is nothing that I can truly do to change the trajectory that I’m on, now that it’s become clear what I have no choice but to do, I set my sights on Saturday Night Showdown, and most importantly, I set my sights on the Universal Women’s Championship. Both of those have quite a bit of meaning to me if all of you happen to remember correctly.
Raven Roberts: Once upon a time I was on the Showdown brand, and there I was the Universal Women’s Champion. If there’s anything I know, it’s how hard it takes to get there. There is no easy way, even if it may be through a multitude of things like cashing in the Cash in The Vault briefcase. While I could continue to detest the mere thought of this match, if there’s one thing that this title has meant to me throughout my career it’s the idea of opportunity. About proving yourself, and once again, I find myself needing a little of that. I’ve been here before, and as I make my declaration toward Milli Banks, I don’t just want the idea to be that I got handed this opportunity, but regardless I have worked for it. That I deserve it that much more and given the right opportunity, I could take that title away from her. Let it be known, that I am going to win this title, I am going to take it for not just myself, but for Fire & Ice. And it won’t be long before you’re able to call me a two-time Universal Women’s Champion.
(Raven drops her microphone down to the ground as ‘Ghost Myself’ begins to blast through the speakers to the cheers of the crowd. She drops under the bottom rope and out of the ring as she makes her way up the ramp, high-fiving the fans in the front row as it’s the last shot seen before Friday Night Dynasty then begins to transition elsewhere.)
(A commercial plays for Wicked.)
Stephie Love: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, THE FOLLOWING MATCH IS SCHEDULED FOR ONE FALL!
Crowd: ONE FALL!
(‘Invincible’ by Pop Smoke begins blaring through the speakers to a loud, mixed reaction leaning largely on cheers; Chris Elite storms out onto the stage with a determined expression on his face. He stares at the ring looking pensively before gritting his teeth and nodding as he marches down the ramp towards the squared circle.)
Stephie Love: INTRODUCING FIRST! Hailing from Brooklyn, New York, weighing in at 210 pounds… he is ‘GAWD GIVEN GREATNESS’, CHRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIS! EEEEEEEEELIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIITE!
Stew-O: Here comes ‘Gawd Given Greatness’ himself, Chris Elite, not looking to be in a particularly good mood tonight!
Flannery McCoy: Well last week, we heard him speak on the doubts he’s having about himself and his career at this stage; after what happened in the Extreme Elimination Chamber at Road to Redemption, Chris Elite is facing some mental turmoil heading into the New Year.
Jake Mercer: It’s not just him though, Myles confronted him and started goading him on! No mercy in the words uttered by the ‘Peak’ himself as he questioned how Chris Elite got to this point in the first place!
Stew-O: Well, Chris Elite will have his chance to test himself tonight because he’s going up against a fellow legend and one of the fiercest competitors in EAW history!
(‘Saint Pablo’ by Kanye West began playing to loud boos as Cy Henderson slowly sauntered out onto the stage with a subtle smirk on his face. He raised his eyebrow as he looked around the audience, gauging the reaction before giving a slight chuckle to himself; he began walking down the ramp, ignoring some of the fans who were trying to get a high five from him in the front row.)
Stephie Love: AND HIS OPPONENT! Hailing from New York City, New York, weighing in at 240 pounds… he is the ‘JUSTICE SEEKER’, CYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY! HEEEEEEEEEENDERSOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON!
Stew-O: Here comes the man who just ended 2024 with a tremendous victory over Myles at Road to Redemption! It can’t be understated how big a victory that was, especially after the 2024 that Myles had with his World Heavyweight Championship reign.
Flannery McCoy: With that win, Cy Henderson showed the world that he is undeniably at a world championship level even this late into his career!
Jake Mercer: Just last week, though, he had a blast from the past when he met up with Brian Daniels, his former tag team partner who he won the tag team championship with! Things seemed relaxed at first, but the trip down memory lane quickly swerved to some underlying resentment!
Stew-O: They definitely had some things they’ve kept pent up all these years, and it’s finally coming to light; it’s yet to be seen how Cy will handle Brian’s presence in the company, but tonight he’ll be looking to see if he can continue his momentum over a fellow Hall of Famer in Chris Elite!
(Ding! Ding! Ding!)
Stew-O: And this star-studded match is underway! Both wrestlers get out of their respective corners and begin circling the ring with a brisk pace! Cy Henderson and Chris Elite both have their eyes narrowed at each other after having traded some harsh words in the leadup to this match over the past week; you know they aren’t about to let those fighting words fly without receipts!
Flannery McCoy: Both arms are raised as they get closer and closer… until a collar and elbow tie up is initiated, and now these two legends are grappling in the center of this ring! Neither are looking to go for a hold yet as they seem to be going for a test of power, aiming to push the other back!
Jake Mercer: Ultimately, Cy Henderson with the weight advantage is able to overpower Chris Elite as he begins forcing Gawd Given Greatness to walk back with the tie up still locked in!
Stew-O: Cy is able to keep pushing Chris back until he has his back to the turnbuckles at the corner of the ring! Chris’s arms pull back to drape across the top ropes, leading the referee to interject between the two!
Flannery McCoy: Cy Henderson surprisingly complies as he raises both of his arms up! The tension dissipates for a moment before– OH! A SLAP BY CY HENDERSON ACROSS THE FACE OF GAWD GIVEN GREATNESS! WHAT DISRESPECT!
Jake Mercer: Ooh, Chris Elite definitely looks pissed off about that.
Cy Henderson: What’s wrong? Didn’t you want to prove you aren’t as washed as they say? You aren’t doing a good jo-
Stew-O: :damn:
Flannery McCoy: AND A SLAP BY CHRIS ELITE RIGHT BACK TO CY HENDERSON! That definitely shut Cy’s mouth, replacing that smirk with a deep scowl!
Jake Mercer: This was just a standard wrestling match a few moments ago, but now things have quickly gotten a lot more heated as Cy Henderson fires back with a strike of his own, only for Chris Elite to return the favor with a punch to the jaw!
Stew-O: Chris and Cy are both legendary hall of famers who have been looking to make their mark on this era of EAW, and with the harsh words and shifts in attitude since their last match nearly a year ago, things are a lot more personal now!
Flannery McCoy: Cy Henderson was able to win in their past match, and he’s looking to repeat history tonight! Chris Elite lunges forward as he looks to knock Cy Henderson out cold with a sudden Snooze, Chris’ version of the classic Mike Tyson Uppercut!
Jake Mercer: But Cy Henderson is able to side step it and spin behind Gawd Given Greatness! Cy slides his own arm around the right arm of Chris Elite as he tries to turn around in time; he isn’t able to, though, as Cy suddenly applies a half-nelson to that right arm!
Stew-O: With that half-nelson as his gripping point, Cy Henderson hoists Chris Elite up in the air with an impressive display of strength! He’s not going for a half-nelson suplex, though, as he uses his free arm to reach up and wrap around Chris Elite’s neck!
Flannery McCoy: WOW! A half-nelson neckbreaker by Cy Henderson as he brings Chris Elite crashing down onto the canvas! Cy Henderson rolls back to a kneel as he glares down at the fallen Chris before he mounts the hall of famer and begins raining down on him with a barrage of ruthless punches to the head!
Jake Mercer: Chris Elite has his arms up to guard, but some of Cy Henderson’s strikes are piercing the defenses and landing right on target! Gawd Given Greatness is not in a good position right now with the Justice Seeker aiming to dominate this match!
Stew-O: OH! But now Chris is fighting back with some strikes of his own, even from that disadvantageous position! One of those lands right across the jaw of Cy Henderson, which hit hard enough to knock him out of that mounted position!
Flannery McCoy: That dazes Cy Henderson enough for Chris Elite to be able to scramble up and recuperate! Cy Henderson begins staggering up moments later with his hand clutching his jaw in pain, but things go from bad to worse for the Justice Seeker!
Jake Mercer: Chris Elite lurches forward and leaps up into the air the moment Cy Henderson is back on his feet! He has no time to react before Chris Elite masterfully latches on a front face lock in mid-air before he uses his weight to bring Cy Henderson crashing down head-first!
Stew-O: That impact is enough to flip Cy Henderson over onto his back, and Chris Elite wastes no time in scrambling over to hook Cy’s leg and go for the pin! The referee slides in and begins to count it!
ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOO-
Flannery McCoy: But an EMPHATIC kick out by Cy Henderson prevents the victory for Chris Elite! Chris looks disgruntled at that kick out, but not too discouraged as he immediately springs into action to continue his onslaught!
Jake Mercer: He gets a grip on Cy Henderson’s hair and uses it to forcefully drag him to his feet! No sportsmanship here, that’s for sure; the moment Cy is back on his feet, Chris ducks down and starts to pull the Justice Seeker into a fireman’s carry hold!
Stew-O: But Cy Henderson knows what comes next and he’s wriggling and flailing as much as he can to make things difficult for Gawd Given Greatness! It’s ultimately too much for Chris to be able to hold on to Cy, leading to him dropping the Justice Seeker behind him!
Flannery McCoy: That puts Cy right where he wants to be, because he immediately applies a side head lock and looks to take Chris Elite down! We saw this during their last match, and Chris Elite shows some impressive memory as he immediately senses what Cyclone was going for and plants his foot down to prevent the takedown!
Jake Mercer: Before Cy can adapt and go for something else, Chris Elite readjusts his position and actually hoists Cy Henderson up! The Justice Seeker can’t do anything about it as Chris falls back and PLANTS Cy Henderson with a devastating back suplex!
Stew-O: For a moment, it looks like Chris is about to go for another attempt at a pin, but he decides against it; probably a smart decision, as going for a failed pin would just lead to giving Cy more time to recuperate!
Flannery McCoy: instead, Chris Elite drags Cy Henderson by the arm and leg towards the center of the ring, leaving him on his back! What’s he got planned here?
Jake Mercer: He signals to the crowd, who roar back at him in response; he turns his back to Cy Henderson and… OH! HE LEAPS INTO THE AIR AND BACKFLIPS!
Stew-O: HE’S GOING FOR THE PEOPLE’S MOONSAULT– OH, BUT IT JUST BACKFIRED! CY HENDERSON WAS ABLE TO GET HIS KNEES UP AT THE NICK OF TIME, LEADING TO CHRIS ELITE CRASHING DOWN ABDOMEN-FIRST ONTO THE KNEES OF THE JUSTICE SEEKER!
Flannery McCoy: We see Cy Henderson still laid out but giving some pained laughter at Chris Elite’s plight after that reversal! He just cut off all of Chris Elite’s momentum in one fell swoop, and now he begins staggering up while Chris Elite has his midsection clutched as he rolls around in pain!
Jake Mercer: Now it’s Cy Henderson dragging Chris Elite to his feet with a dangerous glare on his face as he looks at his fellow legend; he wastes no time in brutalizing Gawd Given Greatness as he hits a heavy knee smash to the midsection, further damaging the same area he did with his reversal of the People’s Moonsault!
Stew-O: Nothing pretty about this as he just lands shot after shot! An elbow smash connects to the side of Chris’ head, followed by another knee smash to the gut that makes Chris double over, and then the Justice Seeker follows up with a front kick, taking advantage of the bent-over Chris with a shot right to the face!
Flannery McCoy: That shot definitely hit hard, causing Chris to stagger back… but even after that merciless assault, Chris Elite did not fall down! He remained standing, and you can see the ire that sparks in Cy Henderson just based on that scowl!
Jake Mercer: Cy quickly spins behind Chris Elite and latches on a rear waist lock– it looks like he’s going for a German Suplex as he tries hoisting Chris up, but Gawd Given Greatness is doing all he can to avoid it!
Stew-O: He’s sandbagging Cy Henderson here, not allowing himself to be lifted up! Before Cy can do anything else, he gets BLASTED with a back elbow smash by Chris Elite! He still has the waist lock applied, but it looks like the grip is getting loosened more and more as Chris Elite keeps throwing those back elbows to the side of Cy Henderson’s head!
Flannery McCoy: It turns out to be too much for Cy to endure, leading to him releasing the waist lock!
Chris Elite: Fucking DICKEATER!
Jake Mercer: OH! AND NOW CHRIS ELITE FALLS BACK OF HIS OWN VOLITION, CATCHING CY HENDERSON OFF GUARD WITH A SUDDEN PELE KICK! THAT LEADS TO CY STUMBLING BACK INTO THE ROPES AS CHRIS STAGGERS UP AS QUICKLY AS HE CAN!
Stew-O: BUT JUST AS CHRIS DOES, HE TURNS AROUND TO SEE CY HAD REBOUNDED OFF THE ROPES! CY LUNGES FORWARD, CATCHING CHRIS OFF GUARD WITH A SHOULDER BLOCK!
Flannery McCoy: Nevertheless, the attack on Cy Henderson’s head was brutal enough to leave its mark, as Cyclone doesn’t get up after hitting the shoulder block… instead, he’s on his hands and knees clutching his head in pain next to Chris Elite who has fallen onto his back!
Jake Mercer: This match is getting more and more savage as it goes on, but neither of these men are willing to give up as they look to make their mark in 2025! Cy is able to slowly get up with Chris getting up moments after!
Stew-O: Those few moments were all it took for Cy to prepare himself, though, as Chris is met with ANOTHER shoulder block upon rising up! Now Chris is back down on the canvas, and Cy Henderson stretches his right arm in a circular motion, signalling that he’s going for something big here! I think it’s the Cyclone Lariat!
Flannery McCoy: He’s measuring up Gawd Given Greatness… wait, who’s that?
Cy Henderson: :comeagain:
Jake Mercer: That’s Brian Daniels at ringside! Was he in the crowd this whole time? He’s in casual attire and blended in with a hoodie, but now he’s just… watching the match up close, looking intently at the grappling on display!
Stew-O: It doesn’t seem like he’s in any rush to interfere, but Cy Henderson shifts his attention away from the fallen Chris Elite and towards Brian Daniels, who he had a heated confrontation with last week!
Cy Henderson: What the hell are you doing out here?
Flannery McCoy: But Brian doesn’t answer, just throwing up his arms as he tilts his head as he looks over at…
Jake Mercer: Chris Elite just rose up and catches Cy Henderson from behind with the ALMIGHTY PUSH! He just POUNCED Cy Henderson, leading to the Justice Seeker staggering forward and falling against the turnbuckles! That was a brutal landing and it shows as Cy Henderson clutches his jaw!
Stew-O: He turns around and leans against the bottom turnbuckle, feeling dazed after that attack! Chris Elite doesn’t slow things down, though, as he immediately rushes over to the seated Cy Henderson and LAUNCHES himself off his feet!
Flannery McCoy: HAWK EM! THE RUNNING DOUBLE KNEE CONNECTS WITH CY HENDERSON! Chris Elite is getting some momentum going here after Cy Henderson allowed himself to get distracted by Brian’s presence!
Jake Mercer: Chris drags Cy out of the corner and hits him with some quick strikes! Lefts and rights, jabs and hooks, the Justice Seeker is getting hit by a flurry of attacks before Chris manages to hit the SNOOZE! The uppercut connects and leaves Cy thoroughly dazed and staggering back!
Stew-O: He almost falls over, but Chris grabs him by the wrist and prevents it! Instead, he turns Cy around and grabs him by the waist and leg!
Flannery McCoy: He begins hoisting Cy Henderson up with a back suplex lift! HE’S GOING FOR THE FUSION DANCE– BUT IT DOESN’T HAPPEN, CY HITS A BACK ELBOW AND PREVENTS IT!
Jake Mercer: That back elbow leaves Chris stunned now, and Cy angrily points at Brian, telling him to watch as he suddenly spins himself around and–
Stew-O: OH MY GOD! CYCLONE LARIAT! CYCLONE LARIAT CONNECTS, KNOCKING CHRIS ELITE INSIDE OUT!
Flannery McCoy: Cy Henderson smirks, first at Chris and then at Brian, gesturing to his old partner before he turns Chris over and hooks the leg, staring Brian down as he does so!
ONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-
Stew-O: BUT IT’S NOT ENOUGH! SOMEHOW, CHRIS ELITE MUSTERED THE FORTITUDE TO KICK OUT AFTER ALL THAT HE’S ENDURED THUS FAR!
Flannery McCoy: That smirk is wiped right off Cy Henderson’s face, but as he was staring down Brian Daniels… I think that smirk popped right back up, this time on Brian’s face!
Cy Henderson: Oh, is this a comedy show now? What’re you laughing at?
Jake Mercer: Cy Henderson looks furious as he slowly rises up and staggers his way to the ropes where Brian is standing down at ringside!
Stew-O: And now Cy is yelling at Brian Daniels! Brian hasn’t done a thing but smirk, but Cy Henderson’s temper is flaring nevertheless!
Cy Henderson: Huh? You mouthed off last week, why the silence now? Speak your mind! What are you finding funny about this? That he kicked out? He’s still laid out because of ME! All you could do is take down a New Breed and now you’re walking around with an inflated ego.
Flannery McCoy: Brian has been mostly silent thus far, but now Cy’s comments are starting to anger Brian too!
Brian Daniels: I see that arrogance you’ve developed is just as ugly as ever. This is exactly the type of attitude I was talking about last week!
Cy Henderson: You don’t get to talk about my attitude. We aren’t in the same boat here; this isn’t 2016, we aren’t on the same level. I’ve already made my mark in this era, I’m having the type of career you WISH you could have at this stage. And you wonder why I abandoned you?
Brian Daniels: Give me a BREAK! If you really wanted to do this company some good, you should get yourself BLACKLISTED again!
Cy Henderson: YOU–
Stew-O: OH! BUT THE YELLING MATCH IS INTERRUPTED BY THE WRESTLING MATCH STILL GOING ON! CHRIS ELITE JUST RECUPERATED AND CAUGHT CY HENDERSON OFF GUARD! HE HOISTS HIM UP WITH THAT BACK SUPLEX LIFT AND–
Flannery McCoy: NECKBREAKER! HE CONNECTS WITH THE FUSION DANCE! AND NOW CY HENDERSON IS LAID OUT WITH HIS NECK CLUTCHED! HE’S IN A BAD POSITION HERE!
Jake Mercer: CHRIS ELITE LOCKS EYES WITH BRIAN DANIELS FOR A MOMENT BEFORE FOCUSING ON CY HENDERSON! HE SCALES THE ROPES, GETTING HIMSELF UP TO THE TOP TURNBUCKLE BEFORE–
Stew-O: HE LAUNCHES HIMSELF OFF AND FLIPS MID-AIR! AIMIN FOR THE MOON! AIMIN FOR THE MOON HITS, THAT SWANTON 450 SPLASH LANDS RIGHT ON TARGET AND CY HENDERSON IS LOOKING LIKE A CORPSE!
Flannery McCoy: CHRIS ELITE HOOKS THE LEG AND THE REFEREE GOES FOR THE COUNT!
ONEEEEEEEEEEEE!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
(Ding! Ding! Ding!)
(‘Invincible’ by Pop Smoke begins blaring through the speakers again to yet another mixed reaction as Chris Elite slowly staggers off of Cy Henderson with a slight smirk on his face. He rises to his feet and gets his arm raised by the referee in victory.)
Stephie Love: HERE IS YOUR WINNER… GAWD GIVEN GREATNESS, CHRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIS! ELIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIITE!
Stew-O: What a showdown between two historic legends here in EAW! But ultimately, Cy Henderson let his attention stray away from his opponent, and that is what costed him here tonight!
Flannery McCoy: He brought one hell of a fight, but Chris Elite just would not stay down, and he was able to take advantage of the distraction for the win! After the self-doubt he was having last week, this victory is sure to help things out! I’m sure Myles is watching intently as well after that confrontation from last week.
Jake Mercer: Meanwhile, Brian Daniels is staring at the fallen Cy Henderson with an inscrutable expression; they just had that heated exchange leading to Cy’s demise, and we’ll have to wait to see the fallout that I’m sure is coming!
(The video feed lingers as Chris Elite celebrates his victory on top of the top turnbuckle, while Cy Henderson slowly regains consciousness and looks up just to see Brian Daniels staring him down with a glare. The video feed slowly fades to black.)
(The scene shifts, but not to the backstage area, or anywhere familiar, really. The lighting is dark. It isn’t until a shot shows off the stars in the night sky that the viewers are able to make out that this is taking place outside. Various more shots are shown, haphazardly and quickly, with trees, the dirt on the ground, and even a river before one more shot falls upon a woman sitting on a rock, all by her lonesome. She has some peebles within her grasp.)
(It’s Minerva.)
(She’s perched silently her head tilted back slightly to gaze at the stars. Her silhouette is illuminated by the faint glow of the moonlight. The scene is hauntingly serene, the sound of the river faint in the background, blending with the soft rustle of the trees. Slowly, she lowers her gaze, her hand playing idly with the pebbles in her palm. Her voice, low and deliberate, cuts through the stillness like a blade.)
Minerva: Funny, isn’t it? How the world looks so calm at night. Out here, under these stars, you could almost believe that the chaos doesn’t exist. That the betrayals, the rivalries, the endless thirst for dominanc are just fleeting figments of the day. But I know better. I know what lingers in the dark.
(She drops a pebble, letting it fall to the dirt. A faint smirk plays across her lips, but there’s no humor behind it. Only disdain.)
Minerva: Perhaps it was naive on my part for thinking Drake would’ve accepted his loss to me at Road to Redemption, much like how I wasn’t going to allow for his win against me at House of Glass to go unpunished. ut that’s who Drake King is, isn’t it? A man who can’t stand the idea of being bested. A man so consumed by his own ego that he thought he would open back up old wounds and believe that I wouldn’t come after him for it. He was going to pay for what he did, and I made him, so now he wishes to be mad and act as if this is all an injustice against him.
(A dry laugh wrings out from him.)
Minerva: Typical.
(She shakes her head.)
Minerva: Still, I’m used to this. Far too used to it, actually. He is never going to be satisfied until he is the one with the last laugh, both proverbial and literal. He wants to go full scorched earth. He wishes to ruin me… just as much as I wish to do the same so that I can finally move on from him. I will not allow myself to waste any more of my time on him. This whole thing between him and I will end, and it shall under MY terms.
(She throws one of the pebbles, watching it skip across the water’s surface.)
Minerva: He doesn’t get to dictate anything anymore. He doesn’t get to make things bend to his whim. Those days are long over, but he doesn’t get the moment. No. He foolishly believes he can control everything still, and I am sick of it. He needs to understand that he will not get everything his way. I will not allow for him to continue to be an overbearing presence within my life, and he will learn that thoroughly at King of Elite, because I don’t simply want to beat him…
Minerva: I want to ruin him.
(Minerva tosses another pebble before she stands, brushing her hands off and straightening her posture, her demeanor calm but predatory. Her icy eyes pierce the camera as she tilts her head slightly. A sadistic flicker dances briefly through her gaze.)
Minerva: And so, for the third match we will be having against each other this season, I know of one match that is more than fitting to end things on. A war where we leave nothing behind. A war where there’s no room for excuses, no room for escape, and no room for mercy. For the third match, the final chapter of this exhausting, bitter saga between Drake King and myself, we’re going to step into something that will push both of us to the brink—physically, mentally, and spiritually: Three Stages of Hell.
(She lets the weight of her words hang in the air, her lips curling into a faint, sinister smirk. There’s no hesitation in her voice, only a chilling certainty as she takes a slow step toward the camera.)
Minerva: Stage one… will be for him. A match to test his resolve. Let him think his technical prowess and his delusions of grandeur will give him the edge. Stage two… that will be for me. A stage where the chaos and destruction I thrive in will come to life, where the pain we inflict won’t just be felt, it will echo long after the bell rings.
(She pauses, taking a slow, deliberate breath, her demeanor unwavering as her voice drops slightly.)
Minerva: And if, somehow, we make it to stage three, Drake… that’s where the truth will reveal itself. The stage where there’s no room for luck, no room for manipulation, and no room for any of your empty words.
(The venom in her voice sharpens as she continues.)
Minerva: No escape. No salvation. Just pain. Just brutality. Just you and me, where I will tear through your ego. There won’t be a place to run and when that final bell rings, Drake, the only thing you’ll be left with is regret. Regret for ever trying to control me. Regret for thinking you could ruin me. Regret for waking a monster you can’t contain. You’ve spent this entire season trying to break me, trying to write my story for me but I’m the author of my own destiny, and at King of Elite, I’m going to write the ending to this story, and it’s not going to be in your favor.
(The camera begins to pan back, the shot widening to reveal the desolate, moonlit landscape around her. Minerva remains still, her form illuminated by the pale glow of the night sky. The faint sound of the river fades into silence as the screen cuts to black, leaving only the ominous promise of the war to come at King of Elite.)
(And on that note, Dynasty fades to commercials.)
(A commercial plays for ASUS, featuring Milli Banks trying to make a video edit on Premiere Pro with it.)
(The camera cuts to Stephie Love in the ring.)
Stephie Love: The following main event tag team contest is scheduled for one fall!
Crowd: ONE FALL!
(‘The Leaving Song Pt. II’ by AFI can be heard throughout the speakers as the crowd allows their applause to be heard. Hans Grayson emerges from the back as the former Interwire Champion nods to himself in the wake of the main event to come. ‘2024’ by Playboi Carti can be heard throughout the speakers as the crowd reacts loudly for Joso when he emerges from the back & to the main stage. The World Heavyweight Champion sports a very confident demeanor as he has a slight grin on his face, as the two give each other brief glances before walking down.)
Stephie Love: Introducing first; THE TEAM OF HANS GRAYSON, & THE WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION, JOSO!!!
Stew-O: And of course, we are joined by EAW Hall of Famer Impact tonight, who will also be participating in the impending World Heavyweight Championship match to come at King of Elite.
Impact: Will be real’ interesting to see how these two manage to gel together as a team. My predictions are obvious as day: Not very well.
(‘I2I’ by Magnolia Park can be heard blaring throughout the speakers as the audience reacts loudly for the arrival of Rex McAllister & Raven Roberts. The two accomplished elitists would nod to each other with a smile, before keeping their focus on the match to come as they walk down the ramp.)
Stephie Love: And introducing their opponents; THE TEAM OF REX MCALLISTER & RAVEN ROBERTS, FIRE & ICE!!!
Flannery McCoy: There’s no mistaking how focused these two are when it comes to their ambitions set before themselves for 2025, and we can expect a very game Fire & Ice tonight as they take on Joso & Hans in the main event.
Jake Mercer: Of course, Joso & Hans have much to focus on in their own right, they are not exactly the best of buds, and we have the greatest to ever do it right here with us that will surely throw them off of their game tonight as well. Which will all go underway!
(DING! DING! DING!)
Stew-O: And we’re off! The main event of Dynasty is now kicking off right here as Fire & Ice are able to take on the World Heavyweight Champion Joso & Hans Grayson! Rex & Hans have decided to begin this match, as the two men step forward briefly with Hans extending the hand, as McAllister of course has no problem with shaking the hand of Hans as the match can officially go underway. Both men begin to pace around the ring as they’re looking to exemplify the wrestling that’s expected of two men who truly respect the mat, as they now lock horns with a quick collar and elbow tie-up to ensure this match can kick off in proper fashion!
Impact: They can begin however they please, won’t exactly make a difference for what I know is gonna happen here.
Flannery McCoy: And of course, both men are adamant as ever in their individual approaches as they’re now trying to push the other opponent forward, with ample time being made to see who will give way & surmount the necessary advantage for any control control to be made here.. which appears to be falling in the favor of Rex McAllister, who is soon backing Hans into the corner as the referee is now counting down while Rex doesn’t waste too much time in backing himself away! Both of their hands are raised as they allow this beginning to remain cordial, back to their pacing they go before looking to reach forward!
Jake Mercer: But Rex ducks Hans’ reach & as soon as Hans is turning himself around—THERE IT IS! Knife edge chop from Rex McAllister lands across the chest of Hans Grayson as now Hans’ is wincing back slightly, but he’s willing to go toe-to-toe with McAllister as he now sends a CHOP OF HIS OWN ACROSS HIS CHEST AS WELL! Rex is certainly gonna enjoy this exchange as he winced slightly as well, but not before aiming for a SECOND CHOP ACROSS HIS CHEST! Hans doesn’t slow himself down either as he’s able to send another chop toward Rex!!! Both elitists are exchanging chops for as long as they can here—‘BUT A SWIFT & HEATED STRIKE FROM REX STOPS HANS!
Stew-O: Hans’ is now sent into the corner, as he’s very much unable to keep up while Rex has essentially become a savant for the striking game, with McAllister now making the rush toward Hans as he’s looking for the clothesline in the corner—BUT HANS WITH A SWIFT BOOT! Rex is clutching onto his own jaw as Hans is now rushing forward & looking to put McAllister down as he leaps onto the top rope, AND TURNS RIGHT BACK AROUND WITH A SPRINGBOARD MISSILE DROPKICK!! Hans is now quickly crawling back over to McAllister as he hooks the leg with a swiftness!
ONEEEE!!!
TWOOOOO—
Impact: Of course it’s not enough. Rookie move for somebody who’s held enough gold to see that.
Flannery McCoy: NOT ENOUGH! Rex is able to kick out as now Hans is returning back up to his feet, and looking to drag his opponent back up as he’s trying to apply as much of this pressure as he can while he’s still got McAllister in for a world of hurt here! Hans is dragging McAllister into position & now looking to capitalize with the proper amount of offense here, as he’s seeking out this SUDDEN SAITO SUPLEX TO PUT REX BACK DOWN—
Jake Mercer: BUT REX WITH A BACK ELBOW ACROSS THE TEMPLE OF HANS! Hans has no choice but to let go as he’s brought to a brief standstill, trying to keep up with McAllister & aim for a SWIFT LARIAT AS WELL—BUT REX EVADES THE LARIAT & TURNS THIS INTO A TILT A WHIRL BACKBREAKER THAT PUTS GRAYSON DOWN! Rex quickly aims for the cover here as the referee counts as well!
ONEEEE!!!
TWOOOOO—
Stew-O: Nothing there for the win! Hans kicks out as this match certainly is not nearing an end in sight anytime soon! Rex is now dragging Hans over to his own corner as he’s seeking out the tag to his other half, as Raven Roberts is now entering the fray here!
Impact: He’s allowing this to happen without even fighting back for a fraction of what’s his worth, goes to show the kind of wrestler this punk is.
(TAG!)
Flannery McCoy: With Raven now the legal competitor on the behalf of Fire & Ice, Roberts is bringing herself up to the very top of the turnbuckle while McAllister brings himself toward the corner to keep himself on the apron while Hans is slowly rising back up to his feet as well… INTO THE TOP ROPE MISSILE DROPKICK FROM RAVEN ROBERTS!!!! Hans is sent falling backward & rolling away as Raven was able to land with a sizable dropkick that made Grayson go wide-eyed upon impact! Hans is trying to bring himself up, and he’s shaking his own head as Raven is rushing over!!!
Jake Mercer: AS SHE LANDS A BOOT ACROSS HIS JAW!! Now Raven’s able to apply pressure as she’s sending repeated kicks across the chest of Hans while he’s backed in the corner, with the referee trying to do whatever he can to halt the pressure with this count as Raven is now under the radar for a potential disqualification to transpire! Thankfully she does stop herself, having to back away while Hans is now eagerly staggering over to the corner to his left as Raven doesn’t take his eye off of Hans as well!!
(TAG!)
Stew-O: AS Raven is now rushing forward and looking to maintain all of the pressure that herself & Rex have built up against Hans—ONLY FOR AN ENZIGURI FROM JOSO ON THE APRON CATCHES HER OFF GUARD! Raven is still standing on her own two feet as she’s been taken into quite the dazed stance with Hans now able to retaliate back with a ROUNDHOUSE KICK TO SEND RAVEN DOWNWARD!! Hans now drops downward and rolls under the ropes to get himself onto the apron!!
Impact: That much more is never shocking to see, knows how to work together but that’s gonna end up combusting eventually.
Flannery McCoy: As Joso’s now bringing himself up & hopping over the top rope and onto the mat, rushing toward Raven while she’s down without leaving any room for error as HE NAILS A RUNNING SHOOTING STAR PRESS RIGHT ONTO RAVEN ROBERTS!! Joso is able to hook the leg with a swiftness as the referee is counting the pin to follow up an impressive Joso who is legal in this match!
ONEEEE!!!
TWOOOOO!!!
Jake Mercer: Kick out is in effect from Raven!!! Not enough to keep Roberts from maintaining as much of a clear head as possible with Joso now sitting himself up! He proceeds to drag Raven over and onto the ropes, able to place her over said ropes as he’s now leaning his knee directly over the upper back of Raven to keep the pressure applied as the referee is counting down! The referee is looking to keep the count going as disqualification can become an issue at hand if the World Heavyweight Champion is not careful! But Joso does back himself away, which is creating more than enough room for Raven to breathe!
Impact: And he’s looking directly at me while he does it, that should tell you all about how I live rent free in the heads of these people. Even our World Heavyweight Champion.
Stew-O: But Joso is now looking to capitalize as he rushes the ropes & now aims back towards Raven as she’s incapacitated TO NAIL THE RUNNING DROPKICK—BUT RAVEN QUICKLY DUCKS AS JOSO’S UNABLE TO CONNECT!!! He’s now eagerly bringing himself back up as he’s looking to stay light on his feet for the moment here—BUT A SWIFT JUDO THROW FROM JOSO IS ENOUGH TO LEAVE HIM DAZED JUST ENOUGH TO BE UNABLE TO RETALIATE!! Raven is able to reverse in a big way as she was given the time necessary to recover!
Flannery McCoy: And Raven’s able to clutch on her own neck for a brief moment ase she can’t help but cough, Joso kept her at bay for long enough as the World Heavyweight Champion is now bringing himself back up, shaking his own head as he’s trying to remain conscious through the bout that’s still raging on as he’s back up into a proper stance—BUT NOT BEFORE RAVEN NAILS’ A CODEBREAKER TO PUT JOSO DOWN!!! Roberts drops Joso as he’s now laid out, with his opponent rushing over to make the cover as the referee counts!
ONEEEE!!!
TWOOOOO!!!
Impact: Not enough, not even close. He’s gonna keep on holding out ‘till this match goes haywire.
Jake Mercer: JOSO KICKS OUT!! Now Raven’s nodding to herself while sitting back up, and she’s not exactly keen on wasting much time here as she drags Joso toward her own corner, looking to keep him as far away from his corner as possible! Raven delivers repeated stomps downward onto the back of Joso’s head to keep him from making any rise again, as she’s looking toward McAllister to keep the pressure applied!
(TAG!)
Stew-O: As she certainly does! The tag is made toward her partner as McAllister has now entered the fray once more, with Rex going through the ropes & now bringing himself back to the fold—BUT JOSO IS FIGHTING BACK!!! A chop is sent across Rex’s chest as he’s taken aback here, followed by a right hand directly across the jaw of Raven as Joso is now looking to keep himself in a fighting stance while sending these repeated strikes to both members of Fire & Ice! Joso looks to take the McAllister down with a SUPERKICK—
Flannery McCoy: JUMPING KNEE FROM REX ROCKS JOSO!!! The knee caused Joso to teeter as he’s remaining in place, the champion is struggling to handle the matter at hand of facing Fire & Ice well on his own AS ROBERTS WITH A ROUNDHOUSE KICK OF HER OWN PUTS JOSO DOWN!! Now Raven returns to the apron & to her corner as Rex is looking to make good on the vulnerable Joso right here, but the World Heavyweight Champion is refusing to stay down for long despite the pressure being placed on him!
Jake Mercer: As McAllister doesn’t refrain from dragging Joso back up to his feet, and he’s got his arms wrapped around him as he’s now able to LAUNCH HIM ACROSS THE RING WITH AN OVERHEAD BELLY TO BELLY!!! Joso is being placed through it right now, and McAllister certainly is not slowing down as Joso looks to continue dragging himself through whatever he must as he’s using the ropes to pull himself back up!!
Impact: Rex is really giving the champ all of the business here, showing him those ropes the only way he can. Pretty emblematic of what’s gonna happen to Joso & Hans.
Stew-O: Which may not be the best course of action here as Rex is only going to continue with the onslaught to come, as he’s now getting his hands on Joso by pulling him over, now looking to take advantage of the situation further through dragging Joso into position and seeking out this OLYMPIC SLAM THAT CAN BRING AN END TO THE TAG MATCH HERE—
Flannery McCoy: BUT JOSO LANDS ON HIS FEET RIGHT BEHIND REX—AND CONNECTS WITH A SNAP DRAGON SUPLEX!! The suplex is able to send Rex crashing onto the back of his own neck as he is quick to clutch onto said neck!! Now Joso is looking to crawl himself over to the corner, and trying to find himself some ground while McAllister is struggling to a greater degree to get himself back up here! As Joso’s holding onto those ropes to get back up & see himself standing, McAllister’s finding some ground of his own!
Impact: And just like that, nobody should be placing any faith in these two.
(TAG!)
Jake Mercer: AS HANS’ BRINGS HIMSELF UP TO THE TOP TURNBUCKLE—AND LAUNCHES FORWARD TO REX WITH A CROSSBODY AS HE TAKES HIM DOWN!! Now Hans is able to rerun all of the fire that he wasn’t able to deliver when met with the McAllister problem earlier! Rex is reeling immensely as he’s trying to get himself back up! McAllister is teetering on his own merits here as he is back to any stance that he can muster up for himself here—‘TILL A POISONRANA FROM HANS GRAYSON IS ABLE TO DROP REX WITH AUTHORITY THERE!! HANS IS IN CONTROL!!
Stew-O: A GREAT MANEUVER FROM HANS GRAYSON! Now Hans is bringing himself back up, able to bring himself back up as he’s now looking to bring the match back around with McAllister teetering back up to his own feet! Grayson is preparing for what can truly be a game changing maneuver here as he’s prepared to put him back down! Hans’ is lining up for what can be the ‘FLAMING PUNCH’—
(TAG!)
Flannery McCoy: What the—Joso just tapped Hans’ shoulder and now tagged himself back into the match!!!! Hans is confused as he’s taking his gaze toward Joso, shaking his own head as he turns him around and now the two are beginning to argue with one another! This is surely not panning out in the manner that it should for either of these two tonight, McAllister is finding his ground while they are preoccupied!
Impact: Wow, would you look at that? I was right in my prediction of how this match would eventually fall apart.
Stew-O: REX PROCEEDS TO RUSH OVER WITH A KICK—BUT JOSO DUCKS—AND REX NAILS HANS WITH THE SPINNING WHEEL KICK INSTEAD!! Grayson’s knocked out of the ring as he goes through the ropes & onto the outside floor! Rex turns himself back around to focus back on Joso now BUT HE’S CAUGHT BY JOSO AS HE’S PULLED OVER HIS SHOULDERS… AND SLAMMED BACK DOWN WITH ‘RUNAWAY’!!! Joso with the sitout side powerslam as he’s hooking the leg as well!!
ONEEEE!!!
TWOOOOOO!!!
THREE—
Flannery McCoy: NO!!! REX KICKS OUT!!! Joso’s not intent on slowing down as he’s looking to drag Rex upward, trying to see if he can bring upon the end sooner rather than later while dragging McAllister upward—AS HE’S LOOKING TO SEAL THE DEAL WITH ‘HEAVEN’S GATE’—
Jake Mercer: BUT REX SQUIRMS FREE & NAILS THE OLYMPIC SLAM ONTO THE MAT!!! Joso’s down as McAllister is dragging him upward and toward the corner, as Raven’s ready to enter back into the fray yet again!!!
(TAG!)
(TAG!)
Stew-O: And now Raven’s in!!! Joso’s bringing himself back up as quickly as he can despite being taken down, with usage of the ropes as Roberts doesn’t seem all too intent on slowing herself down—WITH A ‘FACELIFT’ THAT DROPS JOSO, CAUSING HIM TO SLIDE OUT OF THE RING!!!!
Impact: But she better watch out right about now, not the only person to tag themselves in just now.
Flannery McCoy: ONLY FOR A SUDDEN ‘FLAMING PUNCH’ BY HANS TO CAUSE RAVEN TO COLLAPSE THROUGH THE ROPES & ONTO THE RINGSIDE MAT!!! Hans is now quickly rolling himself out of the ring, and tossing back into the ring as he’s getting himself up to the apron! We know what he’s preparing for here!
Jake Mercer: Impact where are you—now Impact’s just got up and walked himself over to ringside! Hans takes notice of Impact and goes wide-eyed for a brief second as he keeps his eye on him!!! But Hans has to break his gaze off from his opponent at King of Elite to focus back on Raven, LAUNCHING OFF & FLIPPING THROUGH FOR THE ‘BURNING SHOT LARIAT’—
Stew-O: ‘TALON’!!!! THE CLAYMORE KICK NAILS HANS SQUARE ACROSS THE JAW AS HE’S DROPPED WITH AUTHORITY!!! Raven hooks the leg as the referee makes the count!!!!
ONEEEEEE!!!
TWOOOOOOOO!!!
THREEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
(DING! DING! DING!)
Stephie Love: HERE ARE YOUR WINNERS… REX MCALLISTER & RAVEN ROBERTS… FIRE & ICE!!!
Flannery McCoy: The subtle assist of Impact’s presence making itself known was enough to secure the victory for Fire & Ice, which certainly gives them plenty of momentum heading into the weeks to come!
Jake Mercer: Although we can argue their defeat was ensured either way, as Joso & Hans were showing signs of tension before Impact even decided to act upon doing a single thing!
Stew-O: Surely a tale to be told for how the matters surrounding the World Heavyweight Championship will continue to amplify themselves as long as these three are occupied with one another. Congratulations to Fire & Ice, and thank you for joining us tonight! See you next week!
(‘I2I’ can be heard blaring through the speakers once more as Rex & Raven stand tall, their hands raised by the referee. Hans leans by the corner, clutching his jaw as his frustration can be shown with Joso by the steps in anger as well, while Impact has a sly smirk plastered on his own face as the scene soon fades.)
(EAW logo buzzes.)
